Hamburger restaurant
Hlöllabátar, located in downtown Reykjavik, is a popular spot for those seeking fresh and hearty sandwich meals at affordable prices. The menu offers a wide variety of subs and burgers, from basic options to fully-loaded ones. The portions are generous and the food is always fresh. Customers can choose to dine in or take away, enjoying the large, messy sandwiches with various toppings.
We came over here as they had decent review about their sandwiches. We had 2 different 1 had the # 14 chicken bacon lettuce pickles and request tomatoes. So e kind of special sauce which is very good. This was a big sandwich and I only ate half now. Finished the rest later for another meal. My husband had, I believe, the # 1 New York sliced beef and onions sandwich. It comes with all of the same yummy ingredients as mine. Oh, the rolls are long sub rolls soft yet nicely toasted. The meat was warm. Great sandwich for good prices. We paid $38 US 2 large sandwiches and a large amount of fries. Thanks Guys !!

In from Chicago and I had the #1, New Yorker, which is basically a Philly Cheese Steak with a twist. Great food. Also had the mozzarella sticks, fries and onion rings. Kids were delighted.
Amir K — Google review
Fast food at its best. Not much of a restaurant thought. Take away place. But their sandwiches are bang on.
Gisli E — Google review
A late night quick eat, this was perfect. After we went on a northern lights tour we were hungry and this was perfect late night meal. The sub was delicious, flavorful and filling.
Ashleigh H — Google review
I feel so conflicted about this place. The sandwiches are really really nice (I had one years ago and literally couldn't stop thinking about it until I had another one just now) but also very pricy - I don't think I've ever paid this much for a sandwich and I hope to never again.
Karlotta V — Google review
Very tasty sandwiches and quick service!
Μυρτώ Κ — Google review
The food here is very reasonable. The size of the sandwich is good too. There's an adequate amount of meat for the price. However it's not enough for a full meal so I'd suggest going for a snack. They have great taste in music! There's not much space to sit since there are garbage bins on each end. The staff is prompt and well mannered. Sadly the lamb teriyaki was a bit sweet and not nearly as spicy as expected. Still, since they keep very good opening hours, I will probably end up here again. Unfortunately there are no washrooms or sinks to wash up after eating. Edit - the number ten with chicken instead of beef is fantastic. Also they're very friendly and are always willing to modify menu items. Will visit often.
Rohit G — Google review
Pretty good sandwich, not amazing, but the best you're likely to get in Iceland. Had the #11 "The Bull" which the friendly cashier said was the most popular.

Apotek Restaurant, located in Reykjavik, Iceland, is housed in a historic pharmacy building and offers a unique dining experience. The restaurant serves delicious small plates and main courses such as sea trout on a Himalayan salt block and char-grilled beef tenderloin. Additionally, the cozy lounge at Apotek is known for serving some of the best cocktails in Reykjavik, including creative concoctions like the Dillagin and Rodaberg.
It was extremely delicious. We order set of 3 pieces. And it was tasty and very nice looking. The portions were big, so we even haven’t managed to finish our main course. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the restaurant gifted us with two glasses of Champaign which was very nice. We were there at Friday evening and it was full, atmosphere was very nice as well

Ambience: Very well design venue. Dim lighting, dark brown furniture , very elegant and sophisticated. The seats were extremely comfortable . Loved how romantic the ambience was. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Food: Very flavorful. The food was extremely delicious and the combination of flavors and ingredients were very creative. The plates were artistically designed and well presented. It was truly a fine dining experience in terms of taste and quality. It appeared to me that there was a lot of inspiration from other cuisines mixed with the local cuisine which made the food even more interesting. There was a touch of Mediterranean cuisine infused with every dish which not only did not affect the authenticity of the dish itself but added another complexity and color to it which I found very amusing. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Service: Excellent. There were plenty of staff on the floor attending the guests. Unlike what we have experienced with other restaurants in Iceland, where there weren’t enough team members attending the guests, this place had the right ratio and the staff were all very warm and were fully focused on the guest experience which was great to see. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Overall: Highly recommend it!

One of the city’s more stylish dining spots, set in a historic building that used to house a pharmacy. The interior blends a modern, upscale feel with touches of old-world charm, making it an inviting choice for a nice evening out. It’s centrally located, so it’s easy to include as part of a day exploring downtown. The menu is Icelandic with a creative twist, featuring local ingredients like lamb, fresh seafood, and Arctic char, often prepared with a contemporary or international influence. Presentation is elegant, and the dishes are crafted with attention to detail. Portion sizes aren’t huge, but the quality is consistently high, and the flavors are balanced. The cocktail menu is also a highlight, with inventive drinks that reflect the restaurant’s pharmacy heritage. Service is generally polished and attentive, though it can feel a bit brisk when the restaurant is busy. Prices are on the higher side, but in line with other fine dining spots in Reykjavík. Reservations are strongly recommended, as Apotek is popular with both locals and visitors, especially in the evenings and on weekends. The atmosphere manages to strike a balance between classy and relaxed, making it suitable for both a special occasion and a memorable night out during your trip. If you want to experience Reykjavík dining at its more refined, this is one of the best places to do it. Overall, Apotek Restaurant delivers on presentation, flavors, and atmosphere. While it’s not the most budget-friendly option, it’s a strong choice if you’re looking for a stylish dining experience that highlights Icelandic ingredients with creativity.

Took the 3 course set dinner. Portions are huge and delicious so make sure you come hungry. Cocktails are great too! The arctic char and cod were a bit salty but still delicious. The stars of the evening were the lamb tartare and lamb rump steak! Excellent service and great ambiance. Will definitely go back.

We visited Apotek Restaurant in Reykjavík and chose the 7-course tasting menu. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I truly appreciate good food — we’ve dined at Michelin-starred restaurants and many outstanding places around the world — but this restaurant absolutely amazed me. The service was flawless: we asked to change a few courses in the tasting menu, and our waitress carefully discussed everything with the chef. Each dish was perfectly thought out and beautifully executed. From the different kinds of fish to the lamb and even a vegetable steak — it was a true culinary journey. The evening ended with the most delightful dessert — local yogurt. Even though I was already full, this sweet course was so light and delicious that I couldn’t resist finishing it. Huge thanks to the chef, the entire team, and the professional staff for creating such an unforgettable evening. An absolute highlight of our trip!
Julia G — Google review
We went there at 17:30 and there was no queue. By the time we finished, there was a line! So make sure to go early if you didn't book a table. I was longing for a lobster dish in Iceland and found this! The lobster is good though it doesn't look like the picture from instagram 😆 We also ordered the beef tenderloin, lamb rump steak, and a tiger prawn salad. Added crispy new potatoes as a side. Everything is amazingly delicious. It worth the price! ❤️ Best dinner in Iceland!
Abbie T — Google review
Great food excellent service. The menu was excellent with many options. Service was great. The wine selection is very broad. The cocktail was very nice as was dessert. Highly recommend the waguy appetizer.
Alexandra W — Google review
Apótek in Reykjavík was such a fun stop on our Iceland food journey. The building itself used to be the city’s main pharmacy, and you can still feel that history in the design. I even felt a little bit of mystery in the atmosphere, almost like the walls were holding on to old stories. We came here to try two Icelandic dishes: puffin and minke whale. The puffin was unlike anything I’ve ever had very fishy, like the ocean itself, since their diet is mostly fish. The minke whale surprised me with how tender and mild it was, almost like beef with a hint of the sea. Did you know this building was designed by Guðjón Samúelsson, Iceland’s state architect who also created Hallgrímskirkja? That touch of history makes the dining experience even more unique. Just keep in mind this two dishes are enough for everyone. The flavors are very strong, but I like to say I try it once.

Íslenska Hamborgarafabrikkan is a top burger spot in Reykjavik, known for its signature Captain burger featuring a thick patty with garlic roasted mushrooms, caramelised red onion, bell peppers, chili berry sauce, and cheddar cheese. The menu offers traditional burgers as well as unique options like the Mr Peanut Butter burger and the Hammborgaramuffin.
Great burger. The location wasn’t far from a couple of the hotels in the area. The food was good, the burger was good more on the rare side. Tasted great. The fries were very similar to McDonald style fries. They took visa and Mastercard.

The atmosphere was decent, and the staff was kind. Quite a bit of wait time (to order and to receive food). The food did not reflect the prices at all. One appetizer (nachos), and a burger meal with a soda $70 USD.

Me and my husband stayed in Iceland for a few days and this was one of the first restaurants we found.. and absolutely loved it! The presentation of the food was great, and it tasted even better. The gentleman who served us was lovely, and we were in & out within about 45 minutes. I’d definitely recommend 😊
Joanne W — Google review
I first visited this place during my first visit in Iceland in 2016 and was sure to set my foot there again. The impression of the best vegetarian burger ever eaten was confirmed - during the last decade I have tasted many, many no-cruelty burgers, but the Icelandic burger factory ;) keeps its well deserved place on the podium. I'm also positively surprised by the prices that have not risen drastically over the last decade. And don't skip the honey mustard sauce, it's finger licking good, the best I have ever ever ever tasted!
Jacek Ł — Google review
We had lunch at Islenska Hamborgarafabrikkan in Reykjavík and the food did not disappoint. The burgers were delicious — juicy, flavorful, and well-prepared. I went for a double patty just in case, and while it hit the spot, even a single would’ve likely been enough for most people. Portion sizes were decent and the overall presentation was great. The total for two meals came to around 67€, which isn’t cheap, but it felt fair for Reykjavík standards given the quality. The only real downside was the service. There were no waiters attending tables, so despite being the only customers at the time, we had to wait quite a while to be seated, to order, and then to actually get the food. It felt a bit disorganized, which was frustrating considering how empty the place was. Great food, but the service could definitely use some improvement.
Nacho F — Google review
Many of our orders got mixed up. The food was rather simple and bland. The interior is nice and there's a nice view of the surroundings and Höfði. For this price I will go somewhere else next time.
Heimir K — Google review
After being sat down, I think they forgot about me and I had to flag a server down. I ordered the animal Park Burger, which had great flavour and was definitely tasty. It’s a shame that the egg, while runny, was Ice cold, and the burger was Luke warm at best, the only hot part of the food, was the fries. The service wasn’t great, but adequate, although the staff did seem obsessed gathered around a screen at the bar and looking at that, not sure what was going on there. If the food has been hot, the rating would have been higher, real shame.

The Icelandic version of Hard Rock Café. Salads and burgers named after local celebrities and a decent selection of desserts. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Let them know it’s your (or somebody else’s) birthday and they’ll bring you a treat and play your song request.

Takeout Restaurant
"SHALIMAR PAKISTANI CUISINE" is a restaurant that has been serving Pakistani and Indian food since 2001. It offers a wide range of about 50 vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections, including thaalis and other Indian dishes. Despite the abundance of Indian food in Iceland, this establishment caters to the desi community by providing a taste of home. The restaurant's commitment to quality ensures that each delicacy has a unique and distinct flavor.
Delicious halal food right in the heart of the city! We ordered nuggets for the kid, chicken wings, garlic & butter naan, chicken chilli, and tea — everything was well-presented and tasted great. The guy serving us from Multan was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Best part: no alcohol served or allowed, which makes it a great family-friendly spot. Loved the vibe with old Indian pop songs playing in the background. Highly recommend!

By far one of the best Pakistani restaurants I have visited after visiting more than 41 countries around the world. This place has authentic Pakistani cuisine. Brilliant taste. No wonder this restaurant has been around since 2001. I have been wanting to come here for more than a decade and my wish finally came true during a work trip to Iceland. Excellent service. Brilliant taste. Nice and clean restaurant. I highly recommend to visit here if you're looking for delicious and absolutely authentic Pakistani cuisine. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant.

🌍 Explore, Taste, and Travel with Us! Follow our adventures and food journeys on Insta: vibrant_wanderer_rhythm Craving some spice in your food while in iceland, head to this eatery. Comfort combo meals available. The portion size of naan/ bread quite small. And work of caution: it is really spicy. Do inform the team if you would like adjustment to the taste. The smaller combo makes more economical sense than the big one , as big one only has really tiny portion of veg served , not worth the price difference. Enjoy

Stopped by Shalimar Pakistani Cuisine in Reykjavík for lunch and it truly felt like eating at a cozy uncle’s house (even though I don’t actually have any Pakistani uncles!) The food had that same warmth and comfort. The naan and roti were fresh, soft, and made with care. Everything tasted clean and authentic, and the Punjabi chana was perfectly spiced, hearty, and so satisfying on a cold day in Iceland. The tea was also warm and soothing, exactly what you want in the Icelandic weather. This is the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer, not just for the food but for the feeling of home it gives you. A hidden gem if you are craving something soulful and authentic while in Iceland.

Delicious food place we stumbled upon in downtown Reykjavik. We had chicken tikka masala and tandoori roti. Minor problem, we didn't get our roti until we were almost half done our meals, but it happens. The food was delicious so this made up for it. Highly recommend when you're in Iceland's capital city.

as 2 brown girls traveling to iceland from the US, we really missed authentic seasoned cultural food. we were so starved for flavor and were so happy to stumble upon this halal pakistani restaurant in reykjavik. food 10/10. biryani 10/10. garlic naan 10/10. chicken karahi 10/10. chai 11/10. we came 30 mins before they close and they made us a full meal and reassured us that we were not overstaying and that they wouldnt mind if we stayed as long as we wanted. they even made us chai after they were technically closed. bathrooms were super clean and the people working there were just really sweet personable and kind! restaurant run by local uncles and aunties - i’m so glad i was able to support, and you should too. of the few halal options we’ve tried in iceland, most were just ok but shalimar was a GEM !!!

Lamb Street Food is a must-visit for those looking to indulge in Icelandic street food. Their "pylsur" hot dogs are a local favorite, featuring a unique blend of meats like lamb, pork, and beef, topped with an array of condiments such as ketchup, sweet mustard, remoulade, fried onions, and raw onions.
Lovely little street food place. Very laidback and casual. The food was really flavoursome, not too hot or over spiced, everything worked well together. Iceland has great lamb, and they do it justice.
Jason M — Google review
Terrible food and service. By far the worst meal we had in Iceland. We got the Kofta, Svadi special, waffle fries, lamb meatballs, and falafel. Waffle fries were soggy like it was cooked in a microwave. Meatballs and falafel were cold (lukewarm at best). The Kofta sausages were also lukewarm and still raw inside, but the staff assured us that this was normal and fully cooked. We also found a hair in it. The Svadi special was the only thing that was ok. Some of the cutlery was dirty. When we asked for sharing plates, the staff rolled her eyes and audibly sighed. Avoid!
Tu N — Google review
Nice cute place, however the food I got was poor quality, especially for the price. Paid about $33 usd for meatballs that tasted like frozen meatballs you could get at a grocery store. The rolled grilled flatbread tasted like a cheese quesadilla with no flavor or substance. Dipping sauces were the best part. Would not recommend either of those dishes. (Pictured - Grilled Moroccan lamb meatballs or the delicious snack, rolled grilled flatbread).

Hlemmur Mathöll is a unique food hall located in the heart of Reykjavik, within the city's largest bus station. Despite its unconventional setting, it has become a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. The food hall offers a diverse range of culinary experiences, catering to various tastes and preferences. From delectable pastries and aromatic coffee at Braudh & Co to organic local refreshments at the Tea & Coffee Cafe, there is something for everyone.
The fish and chips is incredible and also the pizza. Such a great atmosphere!! We will be back if we come back to Iceland.

Amazing food hall. If you don’t know what you want or everyone in your party wants something different, this is the place to go. Can feel slightly cramped when busy but everyone was so patient and friendly. Shared a table with an Indian family, happily discussed what everyone got. On the table was wolf fish cream dish, pizza, tacos, gelato, and a pork and rice Vietnamese dish. All amazing. Order and find a table, wait for food buzzer to go off.

We stopped by Hlemmur Mathöll after seeing several online recommendations, but unfortunately, we left feeling unimpressed. The overall atmosphere felt a bit uninviting, and the space itself seemed somewhat dirty and less well maintained than other nearby food halls. In terms of variety, the options here were noticeably limited compared to other spots in Reykjavík. What also stood out was the poor customer service. Several of the employees came across as rude, and one interaction in particular stood out. A child dropped his fork, and when the mother asked for a new one, the employee was oddly argumentative and reluctant to help. If you are nearby and need a quick bite, it is passable. But with so many better food halls in the area, I would not go out of my way to return or recommend it to others.

I am on vacation in Reykjavik, Iceland and went to crab a bit to eat at Fjarhusid Hlemmur, and please note, THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!!! I ordered a burger, fries, and a small order of wings. When I went to the counter to pickup my order I asked the waiter if I could have my order to go because I received a call requiring me to immediately meet my wife. The waiter had an attitude with me requesting that my order be prepared for carry out; he stated I should have told them up front , and the next time to do so! I was polite and apologized. I then asked to have my burger cut in half. The cook again got an attitude as though I was asking for too much!! The lady at the register got a knife to cut the burger in half, however, the cook rudely told her “NO,” then snatched the knife from her hand!!!. I said “so you’re not cutting my sandwich in half” and he looked at me and said “NO”; he then and told the lady at the register to hand me my Order. Mind you I had already paid with my credit card so I just took my order and left. When I began to eat the burger the flavor was horrible, and to my surprise, significantly undercooked to the point of being literally raw in the middle as you can see in my attached photo!!! I did not want to walk back to complain because of how I was treated when I initially placed my order. Reykjavík Iceland is beautiful, however, the horrible service, and food at Fjarhusid Hlemmur has left a very bad impression!!! If anyone has plans to visit Reykjavík avoid Fjarhusia Hlemmur restaurant!!! There are many other restaurants in the area with far superior service and food than Fjarhusid Hlemmur!!

Mandi Ingólfstorg is a family-run eatery located in the heart of Reykjavik, offering delicious Syrian fast food at excellent prices. The restaurant is particularly popular among budget travelers and backpackers, providing a convenient option for a quick snack or a hearty meal. Known for their lamb shawarma wraps, Mandi has become a local favorite for Middle Eastern treats since its opening in 2011.
This was a godsend when we arrived late in Reykjavík. Yummy shawarma after a long day of travelling! Food was great, portions were huge, definitely try the fries with sauce, and service was really quick even with a group ahead of us.

Happy to find this place offering Mediterranean food in the middle of Reykjavik. Food is good. I got the mixed meat and it was excellent. Hummus didn’t have a lot of flavor and it’s a small amount. I missed some pita bread instead of the “chips” they offer.

Food is just okay, portions are pitiful. I cannot believe I paid so much for so little. Left hungry and dissatisfied. Staff was rude. 16 eur.

The Shoarma is really good. Prices are very fair. I had the lamb shoarma and chicken shoarma. I prefer the lamb shoarma. Pro tip: ask for extra meat. It comes at an additional cost but well worth it

Attention night owls in Iceland! Are you struggling to find a spot with delicious food during odd hours? Look no further than Mandi! Their Lamb Pizza is an absolute standout and the perfect solution for those adjusting to the time difference. Located conveniently downtown, Mandi offers a delightful mix of fast food, Mediterranean, healthy, and Middle Eastern cuisine. The food is fantastic, with generous portions and a clean dining environment. Plus, Mandi's prices are quite reasonable considering the typically steep prices in Iceland.

The food is amazing! Looks great and tastes even better. A must try. The service is also wonderful.
Valery M — Google review
Poor attitude and behaviour. Didn't serve me on plates rather said I didn't ask to be served on plate. Smelly lamb in shawarma. Never coming back here. Stay away from this place.
Rizwan S — Google review
Food is decent, but beware of the guy taking the orders on Saturday nights. Consistently overcharging by 300-600 on every order and taking advantage of unsuspecting people (and drunk kids) by withholding the receipt. I dont mind paying whatever the price is but dislike the dishonesty. Also confidently handing people wrong orders. Saving grace was no one was paying attention and they are open late.

Grandi Mathöll is a vibrant food hall situated in Reykjavik's old harbor district, offering a diverse range of culinary experiences from Korean to Italian cuisine. While there isn't a vegan spot yet, the food hall boasts multiple eateries with delicious options. For an indulgent dish, visitors can savor the Filthy Vegan Fries at Korean Street Food (KORE), featuring spicy cauliflower, onions, chili, kimchi, and gochujang sauce.
I had tiger shrimps on sourdough and seafood soup in Truno Seafood in the Foodhall here. Super fresh and absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!

Super atmosphere !!! Good food, many menu to choose. With the view and port. Big place, enough seats to sit when is busy time.
Vala — Google review
They are way better places just a few minutes drive away or a 15min walk away. So, Unless you are nearby here for something else… just go elsewhere. Standard fare at average prices. We had the fish and chips; really nothing special… chips were missing the extra paprika which most Icelandic shops will sprinkle on… they only had a dash… Soup was ok… a lil pricy for the portion IMO
Edwin T — Google review
Fish and chips from Frysthúsid was delicious. Batter was crisp and light, fish was well cooked and moist. Fries were also good, but the fish was the star of the show. Best fish and chips I've had in a while.
Nik C — Google review
While in Reykjavík, the best fish & chips we had. It’s ISK3,100 for a very decent meal that can cover both lunch and dinner, so full. They fish were so fresh and chips sprinkled with paprika was great.
Thomas T — Google review
Since these were pan-fried chips, I was expecting them to be crispy, but they were badly burnt and had a tough texture. If this wasn’t a cooking mistake, then it seems like there may be an issue with the recipe itself. Saying ‘this is how it’s supposed to be’ is hard to accept.
SNOW — Google review
Great food hall! Fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. Light and crispy. Basic setting with big shared tables. Clean and well kept. Many options for food.

Was just walking by and in the “business” district on the water , saw this non descriptive door for a food court. Walked in friendly locals eating there, nice environment. Ordered from the fish vendor and never had such lightly fried fish and shrimp. Quick, tasty and real plates! Stop by after the lava show or fly over Iceland ! Worth it and not that bad of a price !

Nice place with different small restaurants for almost all tastes. Beautiful view of the water. The wrap that I took to take away was OK but the meat was a little stiff.

This is actually a food corner with different food vendors to choose from. A lot of locals with family are dining here. A kind of cool place. The dish I had past with shrimp was a Okey. The past is a little under cooked and the shrimps most like were frozen shrimps, and over all is a little too salty.
Felix G — Google review
We loved everything we got at this place. We went to three different vendors. I added images of each place as well as photos with the empty plates as proof. The chicken bread was my personal favorite from Hipstur. The falafel was the best Ive tasted. The pasta place as you walk in is a underrated gem. The atmostphere and customer service was great.

Very new and clean environment for an afternoon chill and hang out with friends. If you have no idea for meal, here they have different choices of cousins. I ordered pan fried fish with risotto, serving with salad and a bread. The taste was good but no surprise, besides the price is fair. However I like the sparkling raspberry drink, very refreshing~

We have eaten here a couple of times over our stay in Iceland. Tonight we tried “ALLES” and we were very pleased. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful in aiding us to make food choices (samples and all)! They are also very kind. The value is good for your money as well. Some recipes are family recipes and the food is hearty and tasty. I recommend the lamb soup! It was the perfect warm meal prior to our northern lights boat tour. The sous vide open faced steak sandwich is also cooked to perfection. Would recommend :) definitely not the kind of food you’d expect to find in a food hall, but we were pleasantly surprised. Thank you!!!

I tried svala bowls because they had a nice 1000kr for a bowl offer and I think that was a great deal. I will be back to try the acai bowl, but the prince charming was very very good. From the place, it's another mathöll but fancier looking. It has different "restaurants" and places to eat. It's cozy and not quite in the center but a 15min walk away.
Anna M — Google review
Nice food court with lots of options from where to choose. There is Thai, Italian, Mexican, Sea Food, Hamburgers, Meat, Pizza and more. Love the fish and chips from Hipstur, really good and great service. It has a lot of seating places and even a place for large groups.

Apparently this place is a roulette when it comes to ordering food. One time its perfectly fine, the next time it is so spicy you basically need a hospital (while ordering it without spicy sauce) And then to top it of, when you return your order and ask, again, for one without spicy sauce they even dare to give you an even more spicy version which means I was not able to eat anything for the rest of the day because of the pain. What a wonderful customer service, what a perfect way of listening to your customers needs. Result: a ruined evening and a night full of horrible stomach pain. Thank you.
Raymond T — Google review
I live in London and I know what is Shawarma. I ordered the lamb Shawarma and as they started to prepare it he grabbed the meat with his hands and added to the meat that was already on the grill and the colour of the meat looked more like chicken so I had to ask thinking he thought I wanted chicken shoarma. He said it was lamb but I had my doubts. Anyway upon eating it , it tasted nothing like lamb but some kind of mixed meat. I know what is lamb , it's my favourite meat. The customer service was also bad we ordered fries and it came with a lot of sauce on it. When we told them that we wanted only fries they made a big fuss. Anyway in my opinion spend your money somewhere else so you don't have any regrets cause Reykjavik is expensive. I have to add that the reason why we ordered the fries was because the shoarma was so bad. The choice is yours.
