Despite the premium pricing, the quality of the food and service is well worth it. Highly recommended for those who appreciate high-quality Japanese cuisine.

They ran out of abalone for the omakase and replaced it with different seafood, which, considering the overpriced set menu, I believe doesn't hold the same value. As a walk in customer, we were shown only the set menu either teppanyaki or omakase set which min cost Rp.950,000 per person. In addition, we were offered fresh fish with rate of Rp.2,5jt for a fish only as small as 300gr. Later when the billing came, we just found there was an alacarte menu available. We are Japanese food lover and this is the only time we found a Japanese resto was not having true honesty in serving customers. Food taste is just average, bit salty and plain. NOT RECOMMENDED

We ordered the omakase set. It’s delicious. The portion is 1 set for 2. So everything you see in the picture is half the size. Btw you still need to pay Rp 150rb to make that 1 portion for 2 to happened. Though i wished they’d filled up the miso soup for the price they charging. It’s fine dining style. i’d love to have it with their alcohol pairing but coz of my gerd condition i’m avoiding taking alcohol. Place: good Service: great (u get ur own waitress)

First time going to Omakase, it was quite the experience, very unique and fun with the zodiac theme they had. The food for me was quite good and the presentation was phenomenal. My favorite dish from the night came from the Taurus, Gemini, Scorpio, and Sagitarius. Although communication was a bit lacking when i ordered a bottle of wine, i wanted the wine chilled 15 min before serving, but when 15 min was up, they never chilled my wine, so we had to wait some more, waiting over 30 min before i had my first glass of wine served, maybe this can be improved by the staff. Overall the experience was great, the staff were quite friendly and professional, and the food was exceptional! I would recommend this place while they still have their 50% discount.

It was a fun experience, had a 12 course meal here, each representing a zodiac. Taurus was especially good. I think all the ingredients are locally sourced, good job for that.

We had a birthday dinner with Zodiak theme and it was amazing. The best food wrapped by escape room experience that we never forget. Will surely come again for the other themes. This place is suitable for romantic dinner, family, or even friends. Great way to have a bonding and quality time around the city.

Experienced a FINE fine dining! Dinner with a story, ans this time the story is about the 12 zodiac. Fresh, fragrant, delicious ingredients sourced locally. Never have i ever ate such beautiful arrangement of dishes. The staffs are very friendly, polite, and helpful! I would love to come again next time.

Menu: 1. Eel roll, my go to menu when visiting an uncharted Japanese restaurant, surprisingly become the bar of the complexity of taste. So so good! 9.5/10 2. My partner ordered some wagyu A5 curry. It's subtle but perfectly balanced. 8.5/10 3. I was never really a fan of tea, but the sakura tea was fragant and calming 4. A complimentary free dish consisted of a chocolate mouse and fudgy brownie chocolate covered in frozen chocolate, very sweet but light, with some hints of sour from raspberry and lemon zest? 9.5/10. Service: Mas Aji Prayogi was very helpful and initiative, without being overly too obvious, the kind of waiter you'd want to find, oblivious but alert.

I am a japanese food lover and i don’t mind to over pay for it. But Oku's set menu felt like a robbery . We spent IDR 4 million (≈ €240) and received only a few undersized plates with decidedly mediocre flavors. The supposed “main course” — a steak that cost extra even though it was part of the set — was advertised as truffle-infused, yet offered neither the aroma nor the taste of truffle, the desert was tastless an ice cream with kasava something cannot be part of a set menue . The staff were pleasant, but that didn’t erase the feeling of being overcharged. Bottom line: if you value fresh ingredients and memorable flavours, skip Okko and dine elsewhere.

My favorite japanese food in town. Must try: oku kaarage, wagyu sando, karasumi pasta. It’s expensive but you get what your money’s worth in this place. Top quality service from all the staffs. Been here many times and they never disappoint.

Tonight We tried the set menu at Okko Jakarta and felt completely let down. The dishes lacked flavor, the number of dishes is very low for a set menu , the miso soup was overly salty and was served after the main, the Wagyu (supposedly with truffle) had no truffle not a tiny smell of truffle and came in tiny slices with way too much rice. Dessert was plain and unimpressive, and we only got four pieces of sashimi. We paid 4.7 millions IDR, this felt like a total scam. Definitely not worth it I can’t deny that the staff were nice

It’s a value for money Japanese restaurant. Especially for lunch. The quantity is a lot. Food quality wise is ok. It’s more like a mid range Japanese restaurant. But service is great and nice ambience.

The service from manager Evodie and the team was wonderful and attentive. The restaurant ambiance is very nice too. Very authentic, delicious and high quality meal. It's been 2 years since the last time we ate here. The quality drops quite significantly. The frozen food outlet on 1st floor now is very empty and not many assortments of fish. The restaurant is not too crowded and we felt that it's not as nice as before (while still pricey). We ordered the beef bowl with onsen, and rhe onsen was overcooked. When we told the waitress, rather than taking the feedback, she was so defensive and insisted that it's how the onsen should be. So annoying. The creamy udon is nice though. But the tsukune was having too much egg whites so the texture is very bad.

So good the taste is still good but the service dropping drastically. It was 3PM non busy day but the food takes more than 40 minutes and 2 of 4 food we ordered is sold out. To top up, the cook forget our order and make us wait when we are about to finish. I dont know what happened here but the service sound pretty irresponsible

the salmon was top notch .. easily beat other sushi places, my favourite meal was the salmon salad with yuzu dressing.. so good 👍 salmon sushi was so fresh and big 👍 now the service .. waitresses were friendly, but definitely need to improve .. i ordered 2 spaghetti aglio olio with beef specifically for my kids, after around more than 30 mins, they came out (last one to come out), and..... they were spicy... no information about chilli on the menu, the waitress didnt inform us knowing full well they were for kids... when she was asked about it... the reply was as if its a fact that aglio olio was spicy.. we said okay, can we just order the beef udon pls.. not spicy.. it should be quick right?... it was indeed not long for the beef udon to come out .. but guess what.. the beef udon was like some spaghetti carbonara type of dish .. and i was like .. what is this? i was hoping for the hot soup udon .... she was like...ohhh that hot soup one is called niku udon.... niku is beef.. no? the experience really ruined otherwise some delicious food..

Trully a hidden gem (but not a secret anymore) of Jakarta. Who would have thought the best sushi restaurant in such place. I've been to this joint since the first year they opened, and even now I still think it's worth coming back to. Quality of food is awesome. It's always fresh and delicate. All the sushi and sashimi have the top notch quality and freshness, especially their tuna. I ordered the grilled squid, not only it was fresh but they grilled it to perfection. It shows they apply strong controls into their cooking technique. The oysters are succulent and big, go well with their yuzu sauce. The steak is good and the katsu is fried perfectly. The uni spaghetti is not bad but not as aromatic as it could be. I think the best dish is the creamy udon, trully creamy sauce well infused with garlic. Ambiance is ok, but service is good and fast. If you want good dessert or ice cream after the meal, the shop 1 floor down is where you should go.

I am a bit troubled when it come to long awaited time for the order delivery. We wait more than half hour for it. Think twice if you're in a hurry 😏 The sushi itself a top notch, all my kids love them. But the salad, salmon soup, gyoza were just average. Pricewise alert: a bit pricey here so watch out so you will not break your wallet 🥲

Ordered a takeaway of Gyu Garlic Fried Rice with Onsen Egg.. The egg was cold when I took it from the packaging. And when I cracked the egg, instead of getting an Onsen Egg, it was a RAW EGG. Like seriously? Definitely one of the worst Sushi Hiro outlet, I have too many bad experiences in this outlet.

Nice sushi, My first time eat here. Ambience really nice, Staff really polite and always say "dengan senang hati" , means "with pleasure". Salmon really fresh. It's the best salmon I've ever had in Indonesia. Taste similiar in Japan. Sushi's are nice, soft, and full of topping. What I don't like, it's take to long, almost 20 minutes for sushi came. Udon really nice, love the texture and you can also request for spicy. Dry chicken ramen also nice. But if you don't like onions, maybe this is not for you. Because it has a lot of fried onions. Ocha drink free refill. If you want, just order one for two. Because it's free refill until you full 😂

This is a very cozy place to eat. Placed in a strategic position of town, Neo Soho Mall. The mall not so crowded. Plus this resto have enough seat. I cant say the place is big, but enough for you not to wait too long in line. The food is worth it. I give 5 star or 6 if i could.

First experience dining here and kids joined too. We choose to dine in the room and they do have minimum order to fill. The staffs were really nice and attentive. The menus really vary and good selections of sashimi are available too.

One of the best places in the city for sushi. Sit at the sushi bar itself for best results, as the private rooms may sometimes get a delay in service. The omakase is varied and creative, and of course delicious. The chef takes a very personal interest in finding out exactly what the customer enjoys. Love the environment: so very simplistic Japanese without being overbearing or too formal.

So good we wish we had more!! Choose between 6, 7 or 8 course meal. Top tip: go on Tue/ Fri because that’s when the fresh fishes come Ottoro was so fresh it melts in your mouth, seaweed was so crisp when together with rice and uni, it taste like heaven. We even ordered extra uni and oyster to cap it off. Service was good, should book in advance for certainty of a spot. Definitely not a cheap dinner so save up and then eat up well here to celebrate some hard fought victory :)

The best japanese restaurant in town. They have counter seating for sushi, private rooms and teppanyaki table in private "house". The atmosphere is warm and a bit formal. The quality of food is the best for jakarta. Senshu serves seasonal food as well. The service is also very friendly and professional. However the teppanyaki course is overpriced with such quality. This is the one aspect which need improvement in this restaurant. On my recent visits in 2023 I found that the quality of the dishes mostly remained as good as usual, however some were not. Dishes like sahimi stays good. Cooked ones need more improvement for sure, except for the beef. The beef was excellent.

I ordered chef recommendation Menu last nite. It was my 2nd wedding anniversary. We were having 3 adults. It was A bit disappointing for overall. It is a Great place. Foodie are Good but portions are too small. Service is worse. Much below fine dinning standards. I prepared from 3 months ago. I prepared many things. but... When i came i need to explain everything from the beginning. Waitress don’t know everything what i prepared from 3 months ago. Waitress is not polite and not professional. I remember the waitress name was Sari. Nothing you could expect from her. Lack of preparation for our special dinner. Final one. Chef Matsuda doesn’t respect the customers. I called him when we get started, and he came and do not smile and no words coming from his mouth. He is not welcoming without greeting say hi or anythings. I experienced the worse service ever in this restaurant. Not recommended. Way too expensive for this standards.

One thing that i always admire from a Teppanyaki style restaurant is because of the freshness of the ingredients they use to provide a fresh and hot dishes. And here, indeed they use old menu variations that you could find in any other teppanyaki restaurant everywhere. Here, they can maintain their food quality to their best but personally i am not impressed with their food presentation while nowadays so many new restaurants in their level competing to their best effort to impress their customer.

The most elegant Japanese Shabu-shabu restaurant in the city. With a skyscraper view to Central Jakarta main roads and perfectly curated food, everything will seem perfect. I love how they maintain the highest quality of beef for their Shabu/Sukiyaki and Teppanyaki. I never cooked them for too long, just a swish. The taste of the beef itself already do justice. The Shabu/Sukiyaki beef set starts from 620.000 to i think about 1.500.000.

While a lot of places are popping out and taking over the top spots of best shabu-shabu place in Jakarta, Kahyangan remains an old school favorite. The beef quality is amazing, and I think that the value for money is just right. Must try the teppanyaki set as well.

Best Shabu-shabu and Teppanyaki In Town!! Ambience was really great, romantic with super city view especially at night, n the live music... also the best!!! They sing Batak songs, western oldies, latin, and even German! Service of course also very great. Everything is really great here I could say. Nice and quiet ambience, went for weekend dinner. Located in 46th floor at the plaza office tower which you can enter and park from Plaza Indonesia. Highly recommend their sashimi, I tried salmon, surf clam, and yellowtail. Must try too their Ika Sugata Kimchi (Grilled Squid) very tender and easy to chew. Sushi rolls also amazing, Mocktails are good too, very satisfied and will be back for sure 😊

Tldr sashimi was fresh and authentic, service was excellent, and the vibes was great for a meal for two. Need to go step by step via the plaza Indonesia office tower and just inform the staff that you are heading to the restaurant. After a quick elevator ride to the one of the top floors, you find yourself in the quiet and calm of the restaurant entrance. The wait staff were patient and helpful, and once the orders were in, the food came quick. When you start eating, you can enjoy the food and your company while the wait staff are always on hand. Food was great, can be considered pricey but I feel it is standard for the area. Definitely recommend the sashimi.

This resto has a special place in me and my husband's heart. We had our 1st date moment and the proposal day at this place! We've been a regular here for almost 13 years 🥹 Kudos to their chefs and staffs! The food was always amazing and they keep serving new menus too each year. The view from the top of The Plaza building also very breathtaking - gives us a warm and peaceful vibes in here. We had their omakaze set to celebrate my bday , earlier this year (january).

Food are great. The waiter says the most favourite dish here are a kind of wagyu beef but unfortunately it was sold out during my visit. Great view as well, perfect for a date or just a cozy good food good mood kind of place. But just be prepared to fork out a lot of money as this place is expensive. Per person will averagely cost you minimum of 500k rupiah.

Had the Omakase here. Outstanding food from sushi, to cooked dishes, fried rice the works. I think what made it even more special was that we had the Japanese chef all to our party of 4 that night. This was my 3rd visit and he made a big difference. Not that the other chefs were bad but he had a great personality and could explain you with a sense of humour what he was serving and why.

Fancy Restaurant, really like the foie gras, the best one I ever try. Delicious. I don’t like the sashimi, but I don’t like all sashimi, so it’s not their fault, I still give them 5 stars. The Chef is very friendly, we talk about how to perfectly cook the scallops. Nice.

Japan is always worth a trip, and when you don’t have the time, it’s always worth to have Japanese food. And when in Senopati, this restaurant is a great choice. Okuzono is beautifully appointed with many corners that feel very private and cozy. Expect to find izakaya style food - ie lots of small bites that make for great variety in tastes. For 2 Pax best to order 3-4 dishes minimum. Expect to pay around 700-800k for 2.

This is a fun place to dine in because how they arrange their dining area to include those dine in boxes that fits 4 people. Located in a strategic place, they have a variety of Japanese food from many areas in Japan. I particularly enjoyed their hot pot salmon nabe dish originated from Hokkaido. Their chicken karaage with tartar sauce is a great starter. They also have a nice Shiratama Cream Zenzai (sweet red bean soup with matcha jelly, rshiratama rice dumplings, topped with chantily cream) which originated from Kyoto.

Food wise it is ok, but unfortunately, there is no segregation of smoking and non-smoking area. I felt like I have to pay with health of my lungs. Not likely to come back even if they offer me a free meal. Management should look into the set up so as to prevent customers from having to breathe in second-hand smoke.

This place serves good fresh draft beer, quite pricey but taste good, quality of sushi is also recommendable! There is no robatayaki place with open kitchen in Jkt (different from teppan yaki) and you can experience a little bit of Japanese mood here too😋

Authentic Japanese dining with lots of choices from fireside cooked fish to popular menu such as rolls, sushi & sashimi. Sashimi is a must-try, as well as sushi. Fresh, sweet & unbelievably tasty (didn't like uni until I tried theirs...and scallop: perfecto!) Robata is also fantastic (though the price of the fish might be quite steep). We tried Kinki robata & gave thumbs up for the fish! Place is spacious, so we were less worried for dine in. Bottom line, we enjoyed a great dinner!!

Went for lunch on a weekday and its decently quiet, a few private space with no minimum charge which is helpful in this time. Tried two set lunch Takumi Gozen, this 195k set lunch is really filling from fresh nigiri sushi to grilled beef slice, salmon and minced chicken with egg on top, chawan mushi too. The other set was the miso black cod at 210k which is also decent price for the size compared to other japanese restaurant. The way the fish is grilled is also unique, a must visit if you are around that area.

Located inside senayan golf clubhouse. The resto is quite big and spacious. Inside there is a big open earth fireplace where they grilled the robata. From the table you can view directly to the golf course. Food quality and taste is just average. Sashimi quality below average for this kind of price range. Service is excellent.

Come to Takumi Robata and Sushi for lunch with office mate. The location in the Senayan Golf Club. The resto is nice, not crowded, there are private room with golf yard view, health protocol also applied. Need to scan oeduli lindungi before come in to the building. I order takumi premium set (195k) complete with chawan mushi & misho soup.. and the portion is ok.. the beef is best. For ladies will be fully tummy hehe. Taste ok. Maybe i would like to came here again.. try other menu.

A cozy hidden japanese gem I found in Kemang neighborhood. They only have by the bar and not much seating but the quality of freshness and flavor is so good. I like that it’s also mostly quiet in ambiance. My favorite here is the Bomb and their sushi rolls but curious to comeback for their eat all you can Omakase which has wider range of menu to order from. Their miso soup is also so flavorful and has some bits of tuna - sooo good! Recommended for: Japanese in Kemang, omakase Japanese, eat all you can Japanese

Food: 4.5/5 I had their 8 course omakase and it was such a great experience especially since it was only less than Rp500K for two with the buy 1 get 1 promo on Chope. Each dish in the omakase are traditional Japanese dish that you might have tried elsewhere, but the freshness and the quality of the ingredients they use really makes the dining experience here stand out. Service: 4.7/5 The service from the chefs and the waiters were great. They were all friendly and explains the dish as they serve them to you. They can also cater to your requests if you want certain things taken out from your dishes such as wasabi or if you want your dish to be seasoned more. Atmosphere: 3.7/5 The dining area is actually quite small and you sit in a bar style stool where you can see the chefs prepare your food. The interior and vibe is standard which is a shame since a semi private dining experience like this could be elevated more with a nice atmosphere. The area where I sat was also kind of hot since it’s close to their stove.

Checked out Guresu Dining in Kemang, South Jakarta, and it’s a vibe! 🍣 The sushi is fresh and delicious, definitely some of the best I’ve had. The place has a chic, cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a date night or hanging with friends. 🍷 The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. If you’re in the area, this spot is a must-visit!

Worth it! I would recommend you to make a reservation prior because their seats are limited. Please empty your stomach and try their Omakase Set. The Chef was friendly and would give you a break in the middle of the omakase. The staff took us a very nice pictures, thanks so much.

The food was delicious, with great quality ingredients and portion for its price. The staff during dinner from 6-8 pm on January 21st 2024 was attentive and friendly! Great atmosphere as well. I only ordered the rice bowl dishes, but I would love to try the omakase one day (its highly recommended)

Its a v good experience omakase with affordable price to my children. The Chef was communicating well, the service was excellent and the food was good. A hidden gem in a small ruko in PIK, managed by Sushi Masa group. You rarely find a good (and affordable) omakase joint in the PIK area, so this is definitely one to keep for the books. Every dish was quite enjoyable and satisfying despite the affordable price. It's not exactly a top-tier premium luxury omakase, but for its price, they definitely give you the most bang for your buck. It's expensive enough for you to come for special occasions, but affordable enough for you to not break the bank to come here. I would recommend and would definitely come back eventually.

What an experience. We ordered 18 course and we thought it wont make us full, we tottaly wrong. Every piece is a journey and it is beautifull experience that ever happen. The ingredients, the taste, the menu selections are amazing. I think it is worth the price. The cheff would love to answer your questions and describe the food to you. The wasabi is made from the grated wasabi plant, it has sweet taste and a litle kick in your mouth.

Opened in 2022 and part of the Sushi Masa group. A very small place that sits 12 ppl only, so you must reserve first. This is a pocket-friendly omakase place but it does not discount the freshness and the taste 💫💫 Our mouth was satisfied with the 23-course omakase, it’s called Umibe No Natsu. It came with kani jelly, oyster, beef yakimono, 12 pcs sushi, sashimi, hand roll and many more. All was just yum! So yes, they still keep up with the big name of Sushi Masa. Overall, I am impressed with the service and the taste. I like the intimate ambience and the knowledgeable chef. Hope they can keep it up.

Last weekend I celebrate my birthday at Ichiba Omakase, I choose the 21 course menu. It was an amazing experience. It didn’t disappoint and I absolutely love their food. They carefully prepare each dish and every course is based on your preferences and what's in season. Chef Indra kindly explained each course which made my experience more exciting. Celebrated Valentine's at Kokuu last week, and everything was superb! Dare I say Kokuu serves the best omakase in town. Japanese dishes made with high-quality ingridients, but incorporating sauces and techniques from different cuisines - courtesy of Abe-san's diverse past. Dishes look traditional and simple, but the flavors are anything but. Each bite was a delicacy of taste and textures. This omakase doesn't serve just a variety of fishes, and instead, it's a well thought-out progression of dishes. Pictures are from the January 2024 menu. It was one of the best tempuras I've had. EVER. We ordered the ankimo tempura (off-menu), which was amazing. Rich, creamy, velvety butter like ankimo married with a tempura crust that's fluffy yet airy, and the perfect sauce pairing. The unagi tamagoyaki tempura (!!!) was just as good. Fluffy tamago, crispy unagi, perfect tempura crust, and savory Japanese pepper sesame sauce. Portions were just right. We did not leave the dinner feeling unfulfilled or overwhelmed. Stellar service and hospitality, which definitely elevated our dining experience. Jenny kept us entertained throughout the whole dinner and was all-smiles. If you are looking for a restaurant to have a nice dinner, then this is definitely the place to be at.

Never have I experience such an amazing dining before. Not only the food was great, the service was BEYOND AMAZING! Definitely gonna recommend this place to friends and family. Every bite of their food was incredible, its very unexpected in a very good way, very filling and satisfying. My highlight for tonight was the foie grass and sukiyaki 👌👌 the dessert. Basically everything they serve was good. We came here for my birthday and i got a mini bouquet, a gift, some extra gifts and a polaroid photo 🥹♥️ What blew my mind, its my first time being sent off after dining by the chef and his wife. Such a great hospitality, bless you both Chef Abe & Jenny! Hopefully we will come again very soon with their new menu.

The best Japanese restaurant in the Jtown. It’s luxurious place and also located in the top tier hotel in Jakarta in the very strategic location as well. So bare with the traffic conditions there. But the foods and the desserts are the best quality and seriously delicious. I’d love to coming back again soon!

Staying at Le Méridien and decided to try some sushi for lunch, ended up at No Na Ma, and it was a great choice! I was looking for a place with a strong Japanese vibe, and this spot totally delivered. Tried their deluxe ayce menu. The variety was pretty good, and the taste was definitely better than most sushi spots you’d find in a mall. For the price, I’d say it’s worth it. The service was well-paced, not too fast, not too slow, just right. The ambiance really stood out for me. There’s a beautiful koi pond right in the middle of the restaurant, which adds such a calming, authentic touch. Would definitely come back!

Restaurant Sudirman: Had an amazing Eat All You Can Japanese food at NO NA MA! For only IDR399K++ It’s actually really worth it for the very premium ingredients and variety of menu. My favorite was the sushi rolls, beef, and grilled fish! Felt so fresh and totally reminds me a lot to Japan. Also love the vibes! so unique and pretty with Koi Pond and the private room was also comfy. Service was top notch, all was good. Really recommend for your visit.

I recently visited No Na ma Restaurant for an Iftar all-you-can-eat sushi buffet. Overall, the service was great—the waitstaff were friendly and helpful. We were given 1.5 hours for the buffet, which was a reasonable amount of time. However, in my opinion, the sushi itself was underwhelming, The sushi rice didn't hold together well, so it fell apart when picked up with chopsticks. Some of the salmon sashimi had a fishy smell, possibly due to improper handling of not too fresh or being on the serving table too long at room temperature. Many of the sushi rolls were quite basic, mostly filled with crabsticks and cucumber, with variations only in the toppings. On the positive side, the steamed fish was delicious and fresh, without any fishy odor. However, the chicken katsu disappeared real soon after Iftar and was never refilled, which was disappointing. Since Le Meridien is a French hotel, I had high expectations for the desserts. Unfortunately, the crème caramel was a letdown, it was dense and cakey rather than smooth and silky as it should be. On the other hand, the tea brûlée was excellent, with a creamy texture and a lovely Earl Grey fragrance. However, the caramelized sugar on top wasn’t evenly burnt so there were still granulated sugar on plate, which affected the overall experience. As a Japanese restaurant in a five-star hotel, I think No Na Ma should pay more attention to the quality and consistency of their food. Hopefully, they will improve these aspects in the future.

I booked the sushi bar expecting a proper experience, but upon arrival was asked to move since it was “reserved.” Odd, considering I had made a “sushi bar” reservation too. Instead, I was placed in an empty room by myself, which felt more like being stowed away than seated. The food itself was good — fresh and well-prepared. But the service left a lot to be desired. While waiting for my final course, I sat for over 20 minutes with no sign of it, until I asked about the delay. I explained I had an appointment and preferred it be taken off the bill. Strangely, the dish appeared 20 seconds later — cold. The meat was cold, fridge cold. Just simmered on the grill for a second, and the herb butter was still rock-hard. Overall, while the quality of the food has potential, the lack of attention and odd handling of reservations made the experience frustrating. If service improves, this place could shine, but right now it misses the mark.

Tried the ayce and it was so-so tho. But the chicken karage was very delicious, and their sashimi too. Their sushi roll was okay, nothing special. But their services was great I have to say that especially Mas Leon who served us👍 Keep up the good work👍👍👍

Location is very strategic in Le Meridien. All in nett 250k/ person, quite reasonable to me. Food is great and all crew are friendly and supportive. Sashimi tastes good. To me the beef bowl is bad, very dry and meat was not juicy at all.

Goma Tofu, Wagyu and Foie Gras Chawanmushi, Salmon Tuna Hamachi Sashimi, Clam Miso Soup, & Foie Gras Teppanyaki are excellent. The only thing that's slightly bothersome is the smell of lamb (lamb teppanyaki) and Wagyu (Wagyu teppanyaki) still lingers with its distinctive aroma. Overall....all the dishes are satisfying. And not to forget, the service is excellent, with warm smiles and friendly hospitality.

This was my first time dining with my family at Yoshi Izikaya. It was truly an extraordinary experience. The food, of course, was amazing, just as other reviewers have noted. The outstanding highlight for me, however, was the service aspect. ​Thanks to the team that served us during lunch consisted of Cici, Gunawan, Reza, David, Anna, and Dicky. They were mutually supportive in providing seamless and prompt service. All menu explanations were given informatively, and recommendations were made seriously by further exploring each of our individual preferences before giving a verdict. As a result, our dining experience here was elevated. ​We will be returning here soon, even if only for the incredibly pleasant vibes from the staff. Continued success to Yoshi Izikaya, and keep up the great work!

The food is super delicious, the place is cozy, and the service from Citra, Martha, Gunawan, and David is excellent. Keep up the great work in providing top-quality service! One thing to improve — it would be nice to have more variety of sweet desserts.

Their gindara teriyaki was “oishii”, also mushroom soups and robatayaki sauce, they have their own recipe that you can’t find in other Japanese resto. Good ambience and excellent service.

Has been around for as long as I can remember. Serving one of the best Japanese buffet selections on weekends. Famed for robatayaki, their dipping sauce is unique. Ala carte sets also good value. Ambiance is nice and welcoming while service is friendly.

I went here with my family on a Sunday afternoon and tried their all you can eat buffet brunch. You have one and half hour to eat their appetizing Japanese food. Go for the slow grilled salmon head, it's delicious and succulent.

I might say, you guys gave the top services ever. All the staff was Smilling and warm, even though I was a bit late and you kindly postponed the cleaning time to make sure I am well served. I thank you all personally. Teppanyaki is a "must go to" food and followed by the sushi. The food selection was not that vary but it was enough. They definitely spoil you with "good" collesterol which coming from the unlimited lobster, salmon and another sea friends. With all of this, for me it was paid off.

One of my favorite and older Japanese restaurants in the city, possibly the best Teriyaki I've had anywhere. Service is also very good, staff was always ready to cater to your needs. They have a lunch buffet special every Saturday and Sunday that is quite the deal. A must try for any Japanese food lover.

Tldr pricey food and drinks, but food is well done in Japanese style. Service was excellent and the place has an authentic, cool Japanese vibe. You could probably find less expensive authentic Japanese food around the same area, but can't find the same aesthetics or service at the place. If you take the private room, be prepared to pay more to hold the room but it would be worth it for big groups. Wide selection of drinks on menu but sadly most not available at time of dining. Highly recommend the skewers.

Most of them tasted bland, they charged premium to serve something that sushi tei (which cost way less) could do twice better Maybe the place is perfect for business meeting. Fine Japanese restaurant with tasty selection of popular dishes. It was a sumptuous lunch today as we ordered 5 main dishes and there were four of us. Truly enjoyed the beef teriyaki as it was a mixture of aromatic beef and fresh green peppers, bean sprouts and onion grilled with the sweet tasting teriyaki sauce. The chicken teriyaki was fantastic, my son loved it. Crispy skin soaked with teriyaki sauce with tender meat on the inside, almost tempted him ordered another one. Another dish that topped my list was the salmon grill, with butter ponzu sauce, recommended for those who favor salty with a touch of sourness, while the salmon teriyaki is the sweet tasting version. Also ordered chicken katsu curry, which was also good, crunchy and dry chicken, combined with the thick curry sauce will keep you wanting for more. Heck, even the miso soup and salad on the side are above average. The meal was also made enjoyable with comfortable setting of warm cored lighting and authentic Japanese ambience

First timer came to this restaurant, located in the heart of jakarta, don’t worry with the carpark, there are a lot to park your vehicles. The place is quite hidden, until we call it a hidden gem 💎. Surprisingly, the food was awesome and so delicious, it taste so japan yet still align with our indonesian taste. We ordered some food and can’t pick which one of them was our fave, cause we thought all of them are 💛. The price is quite okay cause they serve a big portion for each food, so sharing is the best idea. The server also very nice and helpful, thank you! Two suggestions, maybe for the smoking area you could put some concern cause the room feels and still smells of cigarette smoke eventhough it is unoccupied. The room maybe need more light a bit, feels so dark and obscure. Will surely back again to this restaurant!

Authentic japanese izakaya at midplaza. Well japanese centric building with its tenant mostly japanese.located in basement floor. Design interior is focusing on VIP private room with cubicle type and japanese design. Tontoki will be the best menu here. Agedashi tofu or oden is great if you want warm food. Favorite one. We order Hamburg in hot plate which is so juicy. The Rafute in Okinawa Style is tender and the soup is Umami. Also the Saikoro cubes are tender. All foods are recommend During weekends there are also 30% discounts. Worth money

Got the oden as appetizer, the broth is too salty. The fishcakes are good. Main: unagi don, gyu truffle don and salmon shioyaki. All the main dish: rice are way too much and the miso are beyond tolerable level of saltiness. The unagi don is good, has a balanced taste. The gyu don, the beef are tender, the crunchiness of the fried garlic def adds on to the flavor. Nice balance. The salmon shioyaki, nothing special with this one.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in town! First time here and everyone was surprised with all the quality and delicious food served. Their fried chicken volcano is legit, their tontoki bowl and saba is the best. The air conditioner is a bit hot, but overall the atmosphere is good. Will definitely come here again!

One of the best Japanese ramen in Jakarta. If you like strong flavor, go for the samurai tsukemen. It has chashu inside the dipping soup too, so don't worry about the only 1 slice of chashu on your ramen. Dilute your dipping soup with the wari dashi after finishing your noodles to drink it as a reward, it's really heart-warming. However you might want to ask them for smaller type of noodles, because the default noodles are thick, heavy and they send you a serious portion, that bowl is seriously deep. Gyoza is okay, ebi furai was a bit underwhelming, taste like frozen ebi furai. Another complain that I have was why does it comes with hard boiled egg ? Why not ajitama ? I want my egg comes with runny, soft yolk on my ramen. Second complain is I wish they straighten the noodles before they put it in the bowl, the noodles are long, kinda tangled and it's hard to pick them up with the chopstick.

echiran ramen is super delicious, i love the super strong pork broth, the chili sauce can be separate by request if you don't like spicy at all. for me, hard boild egg inside the ramen is not match, i prefer the ajitama. ajitama is soft, yummy and well seasoning, just perfect. pork fried gyoza also very delicious even eat without any sauce (or soy sauce). i don't like the chicken karaage, taste yummy but just not worth the price. the lettuce garnish was dirty, i don't now they wash it or not, it can contaminated the chicken karaage. 👎 ocha can be refilled 1 times. staff was humble and fast about everything. the dine in area always full, waiting list up to 30 minutes but it worth to queueing. the restaurant not really big but not small too, the place is full of customers. AC was cool enough for many people, not the cozy dine in area because all staff always running rushing to serve all customers. noisy but easy to talk. they have clean and big toilet inside the restaurant. parking in front of the store but seems full. I'm using public transportation (MRT) to get here. walking distance from blok M MRT station

An authentic ramen spot, and the japanese owner is frequently there. They serve pork and chicken here, so great for everyone. I strongly believe that the miso tsukemen is the best thing on their menu, with the thick noodles of course. The ocha is free refill, the gyoza is amazing, and the karaage is freshly fried and so tasty. Love this spot, will keep coming back.

We had the Jakarta ramen and echiran ramen, Jakarta is nice but its on the salty side. Echiran more on the creamy side. Was disappointed with the egg, it wasn't the runny yolk ramen egg. The thick noodles is too al dente, too chewy for my liking. I prefer the thin noodles better.

I love it! Full packed during lunch, waited around 10-15 mins to get table. We ordered Toripaitan Ramen, Echiran Ramen, Toriechiran, Mini Chahan, Tori karaage, then mochi for dessert. All were delicious! Friendly service. Maybe should cooling down the room temperature as it was quite crowded.

For Omakase, it is still a Long way for them to improve! Few comments since I been to many: The light shine on our food and not on the Chef, the chopper supposedly to be a wooden chipper and not plastic! Orders the 2.2m rupiah course meal with Uni in the menu but the uni sushi shall have heated the seaweed wrap and the sushi rice shall be warm and not cold! The foie gras used twice on the sushi meal a little too much! The otoro sashimi kind of generous..! Overall experience is good and need to improve the sequence and the creativity of the sushi made !

Place: Great! But the background music was a *meh Service: excellent! Indonesian chefs, I assume they dont speak Japanese (except few greetings) but hey, I dont speak it either. Food: varieties of fresh ingredients. They claimed shipment every Monday and Friday. So choose your timing wisely. Seat availability: Great! Reservation is a phone call away. At time of our reservation there were a lot of empty seats. Food: Great if you are Indonesian. Chefs told us menus are designed for Indonesians (mostly sweet). However the wasabi tasted bland. Many of our menus are charred on the surface (they put hot iron rod/stamp on Toro and Foie Gras). Avoid: if you are Japanese and/or looking for authentic Japanese experience. Price: I think it is pricy compare to other Omakase. On October 2018 was IDR 2Mio++/person for a 10 course omakase. No Uni, you need to prepare budget for 12 course omakase with Uni. Portion: very generous! I must admit I eat like a devil. I felt full on the 8th meal and pushed myself really hard to finish the 10th (and desert). Opportunity: they offered us a 'true customised' omakase but chef's recommendation is to come in a group. You could select the ingredients (they will import the ingredients a week prior your reservation). An easy B- (3.8 out of 5) for me.

Great food with good portion. Great taste. Great service, and good price. But I think, for a restaurant as good as this, there is no need for every waiter to greet every guest who comes in a loud voice. It will make disturbance to other guest.

We came on Saturday noon for quick lunch and we didnt order much since we already half full from cafe hopping around blok m. We ordered sakura nigiri (120K) it was ok.. rice bit mushy. My fave was their Ika nigiri. Yakitori (30K) very good! Chicken thigh was juicy. Tsukune (30K) came in big pieces, also good. Always love old japanese resto like this. Friendly waitress too!

It’s fantastic! It’s an old Japanese restaurant that serve a lot of menus and my expectations for the set menu is fulfilled. The food and portion of the set menu made your stomach full enough, your tastebud danced happily, and you’ll experience the genuine of Japanese service restaurant, they serve you like you’re a king and very informative. It’s 5/5 for me, but unfortunately, like most Japanese restaurants, smoking is permitted in dining area. I got 20% discounts!! I’m bored with the hype so I returned to the traditional. So, I recommend this place if you want your tastebud got happy with genuine taste of Japanese food.

Visited 28 Oct 23. The food was only okay but the service was very good. Typical of a Japanese restaurant. I did not like the premise because it was a bit tight and not so cold. It's a fully smoking space so for those who don't like Smokey places do not come. The prices of the food was quite fair and the portions are quite good. There was some Japanese patrons so that should make this place good. Overall was a good dining experience and everything was smooth.

I came here because of the hype on social media. TikTok said that it was legendary, authentic, and delicious. The first two parts might be true but the delicious part is kind of hit and miss when I came there. I arrive at 1.15pm (they close at 3 pm and open again for dinner), and order ume set and zaru udon. The yakitori are cold, the tempura are cold but the sukiyaki is hot. I think since they cook it at different speeds but need to serve it together it creates inconsistency in the warmness part of the meal. The taste itself is not that special. The broth of the zaru udon is too sweet for my liking. But at least, the sashimi is good enough. The atmosphere itself is quiet, the music is not loud so people can talk quietly. The servers are nice. Maybe it was not my day. But will I come back again? I think not in the near future.

I love the food here, their soba and tempura are amazing! The place is simple and old school, quite hidden if you didn’t know, but their food are quite authentic. Each menu that we tried is good, I enjoyed it. It seems the favorites are tempura and bento set.

Kikugawa's dishes are incredible and have a wonderful home-cooked style—generous portions at a reasonable price. I can't get enough of their gindara teriyaki! A must-try dish because the sauce perfectly combines sweet and savory; add a squeeze of lemon to enhance the freshness. Disclaimer, for some, the sauce and soup here may taste too bland, unlike any other Japanese restaurant. I love all the foods I’ve tried, except for their desserts because I haven’t tried them yet. All the foods felt homey and comforting. The staff were all quick to respond. I’ll come back for the desserts.

One of the "japanese vibe" restaurant in town. A legendary one. Ordered Zaru Soba (experience cold soba with dipping sauce), Tempura Soba (kake soba/hot soba serves with some tempura), and Kiku Set. Kiku set is a full dish (not a complete one) with sashimi, yakitori, sukiyaki, tempura, miso soup and steamed rice. Calming with neat and tidy interior, love the vibe.

The so called ‘first Japanese resto in Jakarta’ the interior does resemblance traditional Japanese restaurant with long standing history. I tried chicken nanban set, it was great, however my colleague ordered their beef teriyaki set and it didn’t look apetizing at all, which I agree with. The udon also wasn’t look great so if you happened to have some meals here, I do recommend to just order the chicken menu.

We did a post-wedding sunday lunch for our family of 30 and the food was so good! The buffet had amazing variety (sashimi, sushi, tempura, shabu shabu, soba, various teppanyaki, and more!) and they always refill when a dish runs out. The service is also excellent, everyone was so kind and well-prepared. Super worth it!

Overpriced to hell, most of their "wagyu" and "otoro" is fake, storaged badly, and dont get me started on the price, i was charged 2.4 jt for a steak i could barely chew and thats not even overexxagerating it, this resto is a clear scam, as a steak enthusiast i can tell the badly cooked 2.4 jt steak i was served was probably worth around 200,000 to 400,000 in reality too.

Sushi Sei is a bit hidden,located one floor below the cinema in Plaza Senayan but definitely worth finding. I came here for lunch and was happy to see they have a variety of lunch sets available. I ordered the Chirashi Sushi Teishoku, which came with chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) and miso soup included in the set. The chirashi was beautifully presented, and all the sashimi slices were incredibly fresh you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The chawanmushi was smooth and flavorful, and the miso soup was just the right balance of light and comforting. Even though the location feels a bit tucked away, the restaurant itself is surprisingly spacious and cozy. The atmosphere is calm and refined perfect for a quiet lunch or even a business meeting. The service was also attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for an authentic and satisfying Japanese meal in the middle of the city.

Had a decent dinner with my mum last week. Overall a great experience and I would recommend to reserve in advance to avoid hassle. The fish is fresh and taste close to authentic so it could come across as bland. We had Salmon Nabe, Agedashi Tofu and Sushi Sei Bento with beef. Portion was satisfactory and we got complimentary dessert: fruit and some kind of matcha mousse. Of course it falls in a more premium pricing but you get an equal quaility of ingredients and services.

A great Japanese restaurant in Plaza Senayan Mall. Food was good, some of them was just okay (nothing special). The unagi kabayaki was really good, probably one of the best in Jakarta. Houseki Bako (Chirashi Don with chopped tuna, ikura, foie gras, uni and wagyu) was definitely the highlight, even though the wagyu could use higher grade japanese beef. The mixture of these fresh ingredients coming into a dish was just mind blowing, so good that you cannot miss it when coming here!! Other dish was just okay, probably not worth the price, since price of dishes here are relatively expensive. But definitely coming back for the Houseki Bako, because it’s just that good. We booked a private room, which uses tatami kind of seating. Service was good, staffs were very helpful, even though waiting time was quite long. When we were there, AC was too cold for us. Overall, it was good!

Very delicious ramen! Ordered the Buta Ramen and it was out of this world. The broth was delicious and the chew of the ramen was just right. The pork itself was rich and tender (even though only one big piece). Place was cozy with private rooms. And the waiters were very friendly.

Daitokyo Sakaba is my all-time favorite ramen spot in Jakarta. Their Buta Kakuni Ramen is truly something special. The broth is rich, deep, and flavorful creamy without being heavy, comforting from the very first sip. The pork belly is tender, juicy, and slightly sweet, blending perfectly with the savory broth. That balance makes every bite unforgettable. The noodles soak up all the flavors, making the whole bowl deeply satisfying. On top of the amazing food, the staff here are also very nice and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for ramen in Jakarta, this is the one I’d always recommend. Spent Rp 655k for 2 people. We got shabu-shabu wagyu small size, beef dumpling, noodle, and 2 beverages. Their collagen soup was the best collagen soup ever imo when I had it in Singapore. But in Jakarta branch, it’s different. The soup smells weird, like smelling a live animal 😖 their meat was ok tho

For those who didn't know how to get here: 1. Take elevator/escalator to food court area in 3rd floor. 2. Go through the door near Auntie Annes, take the elevator to the 5th floor. 3. Bijin Nabe is at the corner next to Paradise Dinasty. They have various lunch set menu options, and I chose the Healthy Bijin Shabu-shabu Set with Shirataki Noodles. LOVE the chicken collagen soup! I heard that the Chicken Nanban Set menu is also delicious, so maybe next visit I will order it.

Was pretty much dissapointed with the service. Their matcha atzuki ice cream is my fav dessert and known for its excellent mochi but LOL WHAT IS THIS.. frozen mochi & I also take away the remaining the soup which just get refilled but look at THE AMOUNT. Still the best collagen soup in Jakarta, if you only care about the food - ingredients are high-quality which justify the price. Karaage was good, surprisingly coming from a hotpot restaurant. Lunch ramen set was quite god as well given the price point. Soup for the ramen is the same collagen soup as others, noodles are springy - just the right texture. Ramen came with wonton, which in my opinion is just so-so. Service was slow maybe because of lunch time, I had to ask 3 times for a fork. Atmosphere is also quite good.

Lunch set for weekend is priced low for a fine dining place. Alas the food in the set lunch suits the price and with unlimited serving of appetizers. Had the Gindara Teriyaki as the main course and Bintang beer is included in the Lunch set. Gindara tasted average with sweet teriyaki sauce. Refer to the picture posted. Rice that accompanied the teriyaki definitely subpar rice (not Japanese Varietal).

Food quality is top notch and the staffs were friendly and cordial, and all of them seems genuine. Although the price is quite expensive, its definitely meet food quality served. What an experience i had eating here at Shabu gen!! The setting of the place is amazing, service was 5 stars and importantly the food was amazing. Unlike all the shabu2 places in Jakarta, Shabu gen, a part of Les Amis Group, know for its expertise in the food business, highly emphasizes on its food quality. It is one of the noticeable differences that i noticed. Beef is the most important ingredient in a shabu-shabu dish. And Shabu Gen provides you with the highest and best beef quality that can find. Overall, the experiences was amazing and on top of that the food was 5 stars.

If you can afford to eat at this place then it's a very good restaurant. I've tried proper sukiyaki and shabu-shabu restaurant in Japan and this place is pretty much the same level and quality. But I went here before Covid-19 so I don't know whether they still have the same operation or not.

I recently visited Yakinikuya and was pleasantly surprised — the place has just finished renovations, and it feels so much brighter and more welcoming now. As for the food, the yakiniku was excellent: fresh cuts of meat, perfectly marinated, and high quality. The restaurant sits in the basement, so parking near the entrance makes it easier to find. Kak Siti served us quickly and gave clear information. Wonderful, welcoming staff and great service. The hotel is a little older but very well looked after. The suites are roomy and comfortable with lovely, big bathrooms! The furniture is so dated it could run for political office. HENRY: Yes, well… it’s charming in a “your uncle refuses to buy new curtains” sort of way. THE HOTEL: (softly defensive) I’m working on it. Scene 4 — “Lounge of Long Hours & Longer Drinks” They ascend to the Executive Lounge. HENRY: Look at this! Drinks until 9pm. Most lounges shut earlier, like they’re hiding from guests. MADAM BELLADONNA: A civilised hour. A touch of grace. And the staff — so friendly they could disarm a dictator. THE HOTEL: We try. Scene 5 — “Location, Location, Forty Minutes” They gaze out at the city below. HENRY: The property is huge. Well-positioned too — only 5km from the shopping centres. MADAM BELLADONNA: Which in Jakarta… (flourish) …is 40 minutes by taxi, assuming the gods favour you. THE HOTEL: I never promised speed. Only grandeur. Final Scene — “Overall Verdict” HENRY: So, the verdict? MADAM BELLADONNA: A well-located, friendly, slightly faded grande dame who deserves a facelift but still knows how to run a good lounge. HENRY: Exactly. Dated, yes. But warm, comfortable, friendly, and gigantic. I’d stay again — and bring patience for the traffic. THE HOTEL: Come back soon. I’ll try to look younger. Lights fade.

Considering the price, the pick-up service at the airport exit was truly disappointing. You should provide better training for your staff to be more polite and courteous. This is highly misleading. Smh

Stayed for 2 nights for a friend's wedding. The room was spacious. The bed is incredible. I particularly like the pillows. So comfortable! The hospitality was superb! The club lounge was spacious and the ice latte was very good! Had a good time catching up my work during my stay there. Breakfast in Syailendra was superb. Special thanks to Kak Nurul and the chef that morning. Kak Nurul helped to ask the chef to make corn soup for me and my sister. We both had stomach upset that day and couldn't really enjoy other foods. The soup was warm and comforting. They also made a chocolate plate for my sister's birthday :) thanks for making such a warm gesture for her! A bit of minus thing was probably the hotel lobby and hallway fragrance was a bit too strong for my liking. But otherwise everything is perfect! Thanks for making our stay memorable.

The experience was okay. The place was really crowded, but it was a Friday night, so that was expected. At least there was plenty of parking. Getting in was a bit of a hassle, but the atmosphere and furniture were nice. The service was generally good—except for the wait. It took almost an hour for my food to arrive, even though the waitress initially said it would take 25 minutes. I had to ask three times before it finally came, which kind of ruined the experience. As for the food, it tasted great. I had a chicken katsu don, which I'd rate a 7.5/10. I also tried a gunkan inari, but they weren’t very generous with the meat, so I’d give it a 6/10.

The worst thing i ordered was the wagyu sando, the beef was meltique and not cooked well enough. it was the nastiest thing i've ever eaten, i needed to spit it out. I’ve been coming here for a long time, and always end up coming back. This place has that casual Japanese izakaya vibe — perfect for hanging out with friends after work. The sushi is good and fresh, and what’s great: the prices are actually pretty affordable, especially compared to most of Japanese restaurants. Sometimes it gets crowded, so be prepared to wait. Okay, please take note this review is taken from our only experience dining in Kashiwa, on April 4 2025, during the Lebaran season. So we had a very strong feeling that the normal chef/cook line were not present; or else we couldn't believe how a 4.4 starred facility could serve food in this quality. Most of the food was out of stock, the only one we would like to eat *and* available was a curry dish, and it took very long. The curry was runny and had a very liquid consistency, it might have been a gyuudon instead of curry. The milk tea was very bland and watery (instead of miky), it tasted like bland water mixed with condensed milk and brown sugar. Our side dish took a long time to finish. The service was very strange. We called the servers several times, but they only acknowledged us and said, "hai" and returned to cleaning the cutlery (and another one to stay still in front of the cashier - which we would understand if she's minding the cashier, but she didn't forward our call to another idle server nearby). They came to our table after a while. I would think that this condition happened just because it's still in the Eid holiday week, but... It's at the expense of not maintaining service and food quality. I never visited Kashiwa before this experience (only Echigoya and Kaihomaru from the same group), and would prolly never come again.

The other day I have been at this restaurant and we ordered various dishes to share. Everything without exception was completely and utterly oversalted. It was really nasty! I wondered why they do that? It was an experienced to be missed! I had way better Japanese food in the area for comparable prices. The staff is attentive and friendly....so no blame on that side!

Have visited a lot of Sushi Hiro establishments, I really like the execution of each place. The interior was always the most beautiful, the quality of the food was top notch, and taste wonderful. All the sushi rolls we ordered were good, but our favourite here is the okonomiyaki pizza, which is something we don't usually order, but surprisingly delicious here.

I’ve been a fan of sushi hiro for a long time and regularly dine quite often. But today I have a bad experience: 1. The salmon belly sashimi still has its fish scale on it. I complaint, and as usual they replace it with the new one. 2. The Beef Katsu Sando is way overcooked, unlike the one shown in the menu picture. I let them know, and yes they still replace it. But the one they gave me as replacement is the worse part of the meat, very chewy, not tender at all. As if I don’t know the standard of the dish. I’ve been ordering it many times and so disappointed with this one today.

This was a great Japanese restaurant. The menu included a wide variety of Japanese dishes, like sushi, ramen and rice. The place looked very well maintained and the staff were very polite. The sushi was very unique, with a brownish color in its rice said to be caused by the red vinegar mixed in during the cooking process. The food was delicious although lacking style in its presentation. If i come across this restaurant, i would definitely eat here again.

Second visit here to this small gem restaurant. It's not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. The music is always such a vibe and their condiments are good. As a wasabi eater, I really appreciate theirs. The rolls we ordered are really nice esp. the salmon belly roll. The fish, the mayo, the balance of sauces are just hitting the right spot. They do not have extensive menu, which is great! No question about the food quality.

Food is excellent and atmoshpere is cool, but what gives me 4-star is due to Sukiyaki soup. The soup is very sweet as I taste the food. Even though I pour a lot of water to lessen it, the sweet remains too strong. When I eat the meat, the taste also too sweet as it makes me lose the appetite gradually due to too much sweet flavor. I already inform Tegar and Doni about this, and I hope I'll get the lighter version of Sukiyaki the next time I visit. Overall, its worth to replenish the protein here. Meat is excellent. Note: Best to avoid Sukiyaki Soup if you're too sensitive on sweet flavor unless they can make it light.
