Cloud Spa at the Ritz Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico is a luxurious haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. The spa offers a wide range of internationally inspired treatments, all set within sumptuous decor and overseen by knowledgeable therapists. Divided into three sections - rest, rejuvenate, and restore - Cloud Spa provides an array of services including massages, facials, and unique experiences like the rebirthing waterology.
A wonderful spa day with three girfriends. The staff made it possible for all of us to get the massage next to each other in a beautiful and spacious room decorated with foliage and garland lights. Very respectable and knowledgeable massage therapists. The other amenities were amazing. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience for a Birthday Visit My boyfriend and I booked one-hour massages with the Kailani Journey at Cloud Spa Puerto Rico to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival, the staff were welcoming and courteous, which gave us a great first impression. My boyfriend’s massage, performed by Quianna (an older therapist), was exceptional. She demonstrated excellent technique, incorporated hot towels, and used peppermint massage oil all of which elevated his experience. He described it as a great massage! Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the same standard. My massage was performed by a younger therapist named Coral, and it was extremely underwhelming. The pressure was almost nonexistent, and the service lacked the key elements of the service no hot towels or peppermint oil were used. Additionally, she completed both the back and front portions of my massage in the same amount of time Quianna had only completed my boyfriend’s backside of his body. For the remainder of the session, she spent time lightly rubbing my ears, neck, and shoulders, which felt unbalanced and incomplete given that we had booked identical services for the same time. I brought my concerns to the front desk, where I was told someone would follow up with me. Unfortunately, no one came to the front desk, when I asked I was told someone would call me and no one ever contacted me either. Lastly, the women’s facilities — including the changing area and restroom could be cleaner. I frequent Korean spas and am familiar with the level of cleanliness that should be maintained in such environments, and this fell short of that standard. Overall, while my boyfriend had an excellent experience, mine was disappointing, especially for a special occasion. I truly hope Cloud Spa reviews its service consistency and communication practices, as the potential for an exceptional spa experience is clearly there.
Leilani H — Google review
The massage service was ok, nevertheless they had an offer advertised in social media, but was not included in the website booking page, so a regular couple massage was booked. When we requested the offer to be applied in the Spa, they did not want to honor it and made the excuse that we already paid the regular price. We informed that the offer did not appear online and they had the excuse that we should have called. At first they offer a refund of the regular price, to then pay the offer price, but that did not happened. They made an arrangement, but did not honored the published offer. The facilities needs a love and repairs. The Kailani area seemed deteriorated. The also say that they validate 1.5 hrs of parking but they only gave a $3.50 discount when the first hour is $5. Not the best experience in Puerto Rico.

My husband and I had a spa treatment as a honeymoon gift through The Knot. We had a great time in the floatarium and rainfall shower. The steam room was broken when we went, so we didnt get to experience that, but the ambience was very relaxing and calming.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The massage itself and overall visit felt extremely mediocre, definitely not worth the $300 price tag. To make matters worse, we weren’t informed ahead of time that the service didn’t include access to the spa amenities. Had I known that, I never would have booked such an expensive massage. My partner and I also booked together expecting a shared experience, but we were placed in separate rooms without any explanation. For the price, I expected a far more relaxing, high-end experience and better communication. Unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver.
Najla H — Google review
This place received rave reviews from a friend, so we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly girl at the front desk who led us into a dark , cold room. The air conditioning was blasting cold air on us, which was a bit chilly. The massage itself was okay. The therapist was pleasant, but she seemed a bit nervous. The quality of the massage didn’t quite justify the price. It felt off. To make matters worse, when the massage was over, I was left completely covered in oil. The therapist had walked out, and I didn’t realize I was covered until I got up. I had to take it upon myself to wipe myself off with the bed sheets. Overall, this place needs to improve. I won’t be returning or recommending it.
A P — Google review
I didn’t like my experience AT ALL. I booked the 50 minute massage with the Kailani “Experience”. 1st. The massage rooms had no A/C??? This was being mitigated by a small (noisy) fan in the corner of the room. The masseuse asked if she could leave the door open while she gave me the massage, since there was no air… I said yes, cause it’s not her fault and those are not fair and good working conditions to be working in. I didn’t want her to have a tougher time, but the manager should've really just shut down the place until the problem was fixed. 2nd. The sauna smelled unpleasant. I say this because saunas are a breeding ground for mold and mildew if not cleaned properly and that tends give a musty smell. To finish it off, the part I was most looking forward to, the Floatarium. It was all well and good until I notice particles of what looked like dead skin and other floating in the surface of the water. I couldn’t believe it. I got out as soon as I could. From the 45 minutes I was supposed to be in the “experience”, I think I spent about ten from looking at the clock in the wall. I ran as fast as I could out of there. Never going back. At least the massage was good.
Doris M — Google review
I’ve been a client at Cloud Spa for a while, but recently I’ve noticed a significant decline in quality. The massages aren’t as good, the prices have increased, and the steam room and pool feel dirty. I hope they can improve these aspects, as I used to really enjoy their service.

Loved the whole experience! The ambience is everything once you pass the reception. The steam room, the warm jacuzzi, the relaxing lounge with its’ snacks and delicious tea were a great prep for the relaxing massage and the following facial. The after treatments champagne and hummus in the lounge area fabulous. Definitely recommended 💯!

It was not worth for price. Went twice for full spa day. Body massage, facial, mani, pedi, sauna n pool usage. Body massage was okay. Not excellent. Very light touch even I told I like deep touch. Facial: second time was much better. They used machine much longer time. Result was better as well. Hand hand pack with warm cover. ( first time didn’t have it. Even at nail service) anyway nothing special. Mani&pedi: Omg,,,I paid extra to get gel nail. in 5days it started peel off. See photo. Not worth it. Shaping nail was bad. Didn’t even ask if the shape is okay. To take off old gel nail it was additional fee( shouldn’t inform when I make booking ? ) Sauna: first time was warm. Second time was hot enough. Why so much difference? Pool : well it’s indoor relaxation pool. Room is really cold and get into cold pool. I got cold after🥶 jacuzzi was turned on for second time when I was almost done. First time I didn’t even know there was that function. No one turn it on. Waiting space and service: no hair dryer. You need to bring your own. No one tell me what happen next, how long I have time between. I was so lost ! first time no snack ( hummus) or fusion champagne (?) was served. Oh and waiting room is unisex and you are only wearing bathrobe. I told receptionist that there was so much different from first time. She said “oh I am glad you had better experience for this time. “ Really??? Overall, unstable service. There is too much to improve.

We bought a "time out" gift certificate and had a lovely couples massage for our honeymoon. Neither of us had done the full soa experience before and were very impressed.

I received a gift certificate and for the COVID situation didn’t have the opportunity to schedule an appointment before the expiration date of the Certificate. The Value of the gift Certificate was for the amount of $70 for a pedicure and they inform me in the counter when I arrived that I should paid an additional fee of $25 because the certificate was expired. In the gift certificate never indicated this additional cost and it was very disappointing to know that I have to pay it. Please orient your clients about this matter when they buy the Gift Certificate, include this fee info on it and reconsider to eliminate this kind of unnecessary fees that doesn’t makes any fare purpose. Besides, I won’t come back because the quality of service that I received was average for the amount paid.
Yaxira R — Google review
The spa is cozy and aesthetically pleasing! Prices are affordable! Staff is polite and friendly but not attentive. I scheduled a massage, steam room and pool. After my massage, I was taken to the tea room to wait on the other services. No one came to get me. I waited for 20 minutes before walking to the front desk to ask for help. I spent 5 minutes in the steam before I left because it was too crowded. The pool was being used during the time I was scheduled to use it. I was really disappointed in the lack of guidance from the staff. I felt lost and confused the entire time. I left in the middle of my services. It was really poor experience. Would not return.
Shamara C — Google review
I don’t think ill of the staff rather the management and ownership. It appears that looks are more important to this business than quality care. Positives: They have a parking attendant. The robes are soft. The people working there seem kind and smile. Negatives: Massage I asked for was a deep tissue. Massage started with slathering of oil over my legs, then my arm and then my chest, this took up a good amount of time for no reason. I know the difference in massages and techniques and I was questioning if they hired someone who was not a massage therapist. I asked her what type of massage she was doing, she said deep tissue. I told her I didn’t think it was. Then she went elbow deep and hard with no grace and gradual lead in to my legs. I took many deep breaths to get through it but one should never be severely tense during a massage nor feel like they are getting petted. It went from one extreme to the next. I was covered in a thin sheet that unless the heating blanket wasn’t there under me I would have been cold. I am sad to report it was the worst massage I have ever had. Jacuzzi was cold, with the waterfall shower head in the center appeared rusty. Steam room gauge read 120, but was as if it was 90 degrees. Waiting room food and drink was not a spa status; iced tea tasted like sugary Snapple, there was no where to put your drink while you waited, wraps were not fresh with browning lettuce, drink at end of massage came in a champagne glass full of Red Soda with a cucumber on top- that’s not a spa, after massage, or cleansing drink.

Nestled in a 500-acre beachfront paradise along the Atlantic, Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort is a sprawling family-friendly retreat. The resort offers spacious rooms and a peaceful escape from city life, while providing convenient shuttle services for exploring nearby attractions like Old San Juan and historical forts.
This was our second experience with the Wyndham hotel chain. Last year, we stayed at Palmas del Mar, and this year we chose the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar — and it truly exceeded our expectations. The service and staff were exceptional, providing a level of hospitality that felt five-star in every way. The location is perfect: right on the oceanfront, with easy access to swimming, sun umbrellas, and comfortable sunbeds. The hotel also offers several restaurants with outstanding cuisine and attentive service. We would like to extend our special thanks to Magda Williams, the breakfast manager at Roots Coastal Kitchen, whose warm and welcoming attitude made us feel at home — our “Puerto Rico mom,” as we fondly called her (see photo attached). The balcony views were also unforgettable: a beautiful panorama of the rainforest, pool, and ocean all in one frame. Finally, we’d like to express our appreciation to Ana at reception, who promptly and kindly resolved every small inconvenience during our stay. Thanks to her and the entire team, we’re leaving with wonderful memories and a strong desire to return to Wyndham in the future.

This place was absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The bedding is super comfortable. The food at the farm to table restaurant was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this property for families, girls trips when you want to unplug, or a romantic getaway with your significant other when you want to reconnect. I felt relaxed as soon as I walked the property.

While vacationing we booked this resort on our last in Puerto Rico. Even though updates were in process it didn't take away enjoying the resort. The beach was amazing, our room was quiet at the end of hallway looking at the rain forest with nice amenities. There pool areas that have more a party vibe and also areas that more quiet and relaxing. The food was the best during our entire stay in Puerto Rico, the staff was friendly and helpful. I had never stayed in a resort like this during all my travels it was fun for night and maybe two nights would be OK, it just depends on what you are looking for.
Gloria — Google review
Booked for our son’s wedding and it was horrible. No notification until a week prior that the adult pool,Spa and casino would be closed due to renovations (they had to know this work was going to be happening when we toured and selected their resort). We had already signed contracts and too late to change. Worse part was the full “resort fee” they charged us and all of our guests- when 90% of the resort was closed. Last - carefully review your bill. If you buy the bfast package they also bill you for full bfast under another restaurant name- then you have to try to deal with it while running out the door to go home or over the phone/email - where they ignore you because they have already run your card and been paid. They have been asked to audit all of our guests bills and have ignored us. We have asked for part of the high “resort” fee to also be credited back to our guests given the lack of resort services open during our stay- also ignored. No response AT ALL, to multiple polite emails on the issues and concerns we had. Don’t stay here. Not the sort of people you want to spend your money with. Low business integrity and that is being generous.

Peaceful Nature Getaway with Excellent Food & Service This resort is a breathtaking escape from city life. Perfectly nestled in nature with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The food and drink options were fantastic, especially at the bar where everything we tried was good. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. While the resort is currently undergoing renovations (which meant a few areas were temporarily closed), the overall property is clean and well-maintained. The room was comfortable, though some updates like better humidity control would improve the stay even more. Note that this is not an all-inclusive resort, and breakfast is not included. However, the buffet breakfast is worth trying. Priced between $19–$34 per person depending on your package, with a great variety and delicious quality. For those wanting to explore local cuisine, there's a market area just a 5–10 minute drive away with excellent food options. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. I would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting with great service and food.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel has NO markings of a true 5 star resort. Came for a conference with hundreds of my colleagues. On the very first night of the conference at 10:45pm, I tried to order food from the bar. They told me I could not order a meal from the bar, I had to go to my room to do in-room dining. Rush to my room and call room service, no answer. Just a recording playing over and over. I keep trying to hang up and call back from 11 to 11:30 pm, no answer. I call the front desk, they give me the run around for 30 mins!!! I then go to the front desk at 12:15, NO ONE CAN PROVIDE AN ANSWER AS TO WHY THE KITCHEN WAS NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE. Front desk acts like they can’t help!? At this point I am DYING from hunger and the front desk tells me my only option is door dash or uber eats. I check the app and there are NO RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA OPEN! The resort is in a food desert! Go to my room to find a kitchen employee delivering meals to OTHER rooms???? Rush back to the front desk only for them to say they must have ordered before the kitchen stopped answering???? What the heck??? How is this a five star establishment? Why do you leave guests starving? Why did the kitchen stop answering the phone over an HOUR before the listed closing time??? How was the hotel NOT prepared to feed the conference attendees? NEVER EVER STAYING HERE AGAIN. You would be smart to AVOID this hotel.
Stephanie J — Google review
Strongly would not recommend and doubly check your bill!!!!!!!!!!. Now, I will say that the view are beautiful. We went in and it was gorgeous, the mountains in the front and the beach immediately out of the rear of the resort were amazing. The service from the restaurants were stellar. Mr. Juan, Karla, Gilberto, Gustavo, Carlos Mrs. Ana, Mrs. Williams (mi prima💕) and Samuel at roots were amazing each time we visited. The guys in Caicu were sensational too. Caicu was such a chill vibe and the guys are very accommodating. Now… the room… when we got into our room (mind you we had a later check in because of our flight) we noticed when we were settling in that there were a literal ton of ants crawling in the coffee maker, the drawer w the coffee and tea, and the stand under the TV. We called the front desk about it and they said to come down in the morning. We go down there and they said “we don’t have any pest problems but we’ll send a work order for the room to be fumigated” we said okay and they said it’ll be about 30min when they come up. It was raining on and off that day (the first full day) so we were greatly in the room. They never came up… the next morning (day two) I had AGGRESSIVE bites all up and down my legs, feet and some on my arms. I half chalked it up to mosquitoes because it was raining so much but I noticed they were in clusters and hurt so much I cried. We go to the desk AGAIN and show them pictures of the ants and my bites assuming it’s bed bugs too.. the didn’t want to look at any of the pictures but said they’ll send security up with ointment and to get a statement. We demanded a new room because this isn’t the first complaint and now I had aggressive bites and uncomfortable to let my legs or arms show because they looked so bad. They were reluctant. When we got the new room it was really a down grade. Significantly smaller and little features we liked were not there. They never gave me the ointment so I got this less than an ounce of hydrocortisone from the gift shop ($14, HELLA over priced). They really didn’t care at the front desk and never took any accountability. Their exterminator came to the first room and swore he didn’t see anything, my fiancé and I literally had to point out the colonies of ants around the room and he still acted like we were making things up. They charged us TWICE and then for the room and the move which again wasn’t of any fault of our own. We chose this location because they advertised a shuttle to and from the airport. They never mentioned a fee, they directed us to a desk to make a reservation, no one came for over 40min… the gave us a QR code, didn’t work. They then suggested an uber but we argued why advertise a shuttle if it’s not up and then not ever mentioning a fee in your website… of course no answer. They mentioned when we were booking all inclusive, absolutely not. The breakfast was amazing but 30/person was outrageous, GOOD !!! Not not $30 good. Everything else was closed or the menus were all the same with minor changes. Nothing is close, you can’t really plug into the city because how far back it is unless you got a rental or an uber. And I was in pain the entire time I couldn’t even get out the room. Views easily a 10, the service 10 (only had a problem with maybe one server, she definitely was acting different with a number of her tables and almost never came to us but all the other servers did… lol and then again the front desk and security and exterminator…) but ABSOLUTELY not worth it… and we’re still trying to settle this over charged bill… an engagement/bday trip from hell

I am telling you... Best place on the island!! This resort is one of the reasons we keep coming back! Great location and the newly updated rooms are beautiful!! Every employee at the resort was amazing, but the shining stars for us were **Shelly** in activities, and **Carlos** at the Tiki Bar. We have made friends for life at this resort and will forever call it home when we visit this beautiful island.

So relaxing. I felt like a new man after getting my massage here. I highly recommend Euforia to peel away your stress. The music, the heated massage table, complimentary drinks, and the hot rocks were what really made the experience so incredible.

It's true when you read how great this place is. I made an appointment online with a special from the hotel. I loved the heated table. Michael has magic hands as he smoothed out the knots and kinks in my arthritis joints and back. The staff is exceptionally cordial. I was offered a choice of plain or lemon water before and after the massage. You must go there while in San Juan!

My wife and I had the most amazing and relaxing couples massage and facial at Eufória in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Janira gave us the massages and Tatiana gave us the facials. They were both awesome at what they do. They’re very kind and professional. We walked out of there feeling amazing from head to toe, like walking on clouds. No pain, no worries, feeling great. The staff who booked our session was also very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Eufória.

I flew in from Colorado and needed a wax desperately, as this was a last minute trip. Jania took exceptional care of me and was able to fit me in on her full schedule last minute. She was kind and patient. I think this was also one of the best Brazilian waxing sessions I’ve ever received! The room was calming and I felt very relaxed and comfortable. Not being from here, I didn’t know what to expect but I’m so happy that I found Jania and gave Euphoria a shot. We travel to PR often and I will be coming back to see her with every trip I make.

Wow!! My experience at Euphoria was nothing short of amazing! The ambiance, the staff & the service were top notch. Wilfredo did my massage and he was simply amazing!! My husband and I had an amazing time! The staff were flexible and very kind and accommodating. The vibes were so intentionally peaceful and the owners did a great job creating the space to be so relaxing. We did the couples massage. They had robes and refreshments and spoke English. Overall we were treated super well and the price was reasonable.

Beware of the booking prices- it listed our couple massage at $285 which I assumed included all fees. We finished at $391! They did not mention that taxes and the additional $30 charge for deep tissue were not included even though I mentioned I wanted deep tissue upon booking. Would not have minded the price if the massage was outstanding but unfortunately, if was not.

Nestled within the Ritz Carlton Reserve, Zen Spa Retreat is a top-notch spa in Puerto Rico that promises a luxurious and rejuvenating experience. The serene environment and well-appointed facilities make it an ideal place to unwind and focus on inner balance. With a wide array of treatments ranging from massages to facials, this spa caters to various beauty and wellness needs. Guests can expect friendly staff, expert therapists, and an extensive menu of internationally inspired treatments.
I had a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk in the air is very fragrant… I loved it. Super modern and clean very “Zen” feel, haha literally. The music is relaxing, dim lighting creates a very serene ambiance, perfect for unwinding. The robes provided were a nice linen cotton blend and they smelled so good and felt very soft on my skin. I was taken care of by Mercedes, a beautiful masseuse with a lovely warm personality. She used a massage oil that smelled so delicious-like Parcha! The shower was great. The sauna was a nice touch for my achy muscles. Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy all amenities… but they were offered to me and I’m sure they were great. Everything is so neatly organized and well-thought out. Afterwards I was given a yummy Strawberry Mimosa- the cherry on top! The staff was kind and attentive and above all very professional. Highly recommend! I wish you guys my same experience!

I had such a beautiful experience at the Zen Brisas Spa inside the Royal Sonesta Hotel. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and cared for. Lysbeth, the spa manager, was extremely accommodating and so sweet, making sure everything went smoothly. My massage therapist, Sarelys, was absolutely amazing. She made sure I was comfortable and fully relaxed while working out all of my knots. The sounds of the ocean in the background added the perfect touch—it truly felt like a peaceful escape. I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and deeply relaxed. I’m extremely happy with my visit and will definitely be coming back again!

My experience was pleasant and wonderful. Everyone who worked there was so nice and friendly greeted me and said hello. I had a pedicure, a full body massage and a facial. Every one of them were awesome, but my favorite was the lady who did my feet. She was not only friendly but she struck up a conversation. She said her English was bad. No it’s not. I understood and communicated with her perfectly. She was professional as she was courteous. I truly enjoyed my experience with her. She is awesome and deserves 10 stars Thank you for the experience. I had Gary Ridley .

the service is not up to par with the cost. My experience was with Mani / pedi and you would expect a high-end experience but was certainly not. My Mani (with gel) only lasted 1 week and to be honest, walmart provides a better experience. Chairs are not modern, they lack inventory of enamels and staff is average.

I have been to Zen Spa on multiple occasions and there is no doubt that they are the top spa in Puerto Rico. Each location is unique, yet when you walk into a Zen Spa you know it's a Zen Spa. The wonderful smells, the relaxing sounds, the amazing facilities. I'm a deep tissue massage kind of guy, and i'm very picky. I always leave feeling great and that my knots were worked well. Will be back!

I had a fantastic experience with Natalia and Alanis' team, but I especially wanted to give a shout-out to Leslie (the esthetician!), Monica (the manager), and Marsella. They were all incredibly kind and professional, as always! I really appreciate their amazing work.

Not impressed. One front desk person was a bit rude. And the menu is confusing so you maybe charged more than you expected! Do be sure price and service is clear! When you get your key, look closely at what is written on the small piece of paper and ask the price again before you begin your treatment! Prices are high and come on...55 mins? Just make it an even hour. Did not really like the waiting room and the men's changing room was small. Towels were smelly and old, no additional towels in the rocker room. Not very professional. Massage was just OK. Seemed like not very well trained staff who cannot speak English very well.

The resort's elegant design seamlessly blends into its pristine beach surroundings, offering guests access to tranquil aquamarine waters and a coral reef offshore.
I really hope this place reopens. I went in 2017 and was one of the best trips. Also my favorite birthday breakfast ever (and I’ve been to many places on my birthday). I’ve been to PR since and hotel was okay but not the experience I had here!

My best friend and I always stay at The Ritz Carlton at Isla Verde. The staff is so ready to accommodate you and treat you like royalty. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff is quick with any request you have. The pool staff are ready to bring you whatever you order quickly. I was very sad when Hurricane Maria destroyed the hotel totally and it took them some years before they rebuilt it to perfection. Although there is a pandemic still in progress, I'd love to make plans to visit Puerto Rico and stay at my favorite hotel once again.❤

The Ritz Carlton in carolina PR.. Is a very BEAUTIFUL hotel. Me and my family enjoyed our stay. The entire Staff was wonderful. They made you feel welcomed. I loved that the pool is open 24hrs. That made the end of the day relaxing. Because as we were out an about sight seeing all day, we had maybe an hour or 2 to be on the beach,as it closed at 8pm, and my husband an son felt like they needed more swim time so we went to the pool. I enjoyed the BEAUTY of the view of the hotel at night. I would and have already highly recommend this hotel. I hope to be able to stay here again some day.

As you walk around Old San Juan and want to make a stop for some beer / good mixed drinks, this is your stop. Small cozy and apparently attached to a nail spa. It’s on a corner that overlooks the waterfront (spectacular view). Very pleasant workers and it does get busy so have some patience, you won’t be disappointed.

Waterfalls
Juan Diego Falls is a hidden gem deep in the tropical forests of El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico. The trail to the falls is not paved and can be rocky and muddy, but the effort is worth it once you reach the three cascades that make up Juan Diego Falls. The short hike leads to a natural pool of water with an exceptional waterfall where visitors can swim or simply admire the beauty of nature.
A short gradual uphill hike on trail from roadside to a series of falls. Had a great time getting into the water under falls in two different places. On a very rainy day the trail was slippery in spots and river water was not clear. Highly recommend nonslip water shoes to walk on trail and river rocks.
Scott B — Google review
Great place with three waterfalls to explore! The first one is quite small—perfect for kids to get a taste of the experience. The second waterfall is a great spot: not too tall, so the water pressure is gentle enough for kids, and there’s a generous swimming area. The third waterfall is more of an adventure—it’s a tough hike that definitely requires good footwear and some hand-holding, but still doable for kids (our 6-year-old made it). The waterfall there is tall and pretty, though not the best for swimming.
Serena L — Google review
Short hike to 2 beautiful waterfalls. Getting to the first waterfall is fairly easy, maybe a 7-minute walk. Getting to the second one is a little more difficult, but nothing extreme. It's definitely worth it
Christian S — Google review
We visited on a weekday morning and there were already many visitors. There are three waterfalls - it's easy to get the first and second but beware that the path to the third is very muddy and slippery. We enjoyed the first waterfall because there were less people and felt more relaxing. Spent around 30-40 minutes here.
Christina H — Google review
Amazing walk through the forest to get to the waterfalls. Great scenery to take pictures. Did not disappoint.
J H — Google review
So worth it to climb up to the top waterfall - we went on a very dry day but I can imagine the other would be dangerous in a storm. Such a refreshing stop after a long hike further up the mountain!
Ansley M — Google review
Beautiful series of falls and natural pools at the heart of El Yunque. The first large waterfall and pool is just a 5 minute hike from the road, and the larger waterfall is just five more minutes away. Be prepared for scrambling up roots and mud to get to the larger waterfall! Also, watch out for high crowds and scarce parking during the weekends, especially during the mid-day.
Aditya N — Google review
Lovely, short walk to see the falls. We didn’t go past the primary viewing area due to the steepness of the trail past it and it being wet from an earlier downpour. It was still a worthy view to stop. Plenty of beautiful flora along the path. Saw amazingly large snail shells clinging to a few things as we walked to the falls.

Nestled on the northeastern tip of Puerto Rico, El Conquistador Resort is a luxurious oceanside retreat offering bright and airy rooms, three pools, a water park, and an impressive selection of over 20 restaurants and bars. The resort spans 500 acres with three intimate 'villages' and a grand hotel perched on 300-foot bluffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.
Wow! Super resort. Very family friendly and tons of activities. The food was very good but the service from concierge to housekeeping were above expectations. What great people. So friendly and welcoming. This resort is huge. I had no idea when I booked it. I was just looking for something with a beach. These guys have their own island! They have a super fun water park, car rental on site, spa and countless places to eat and have a good time. My only complaint is that the bed was super firm and I ended up aggravating my sciatica otherwise, this is a top notch resort. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Marlene C — Google review
El Conquistador is truly a stunning resort! The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pools are incredible, and the views are absolutely breathtaking—something that really sets this property apart. We stayed at the Casitas, which were spacious, comfortable, and offered such a relaxing experience. The only area that could be improved was the pool bar staff, as they weren’t as friendly or engaging as we expected. However, the overall beauty and charm of the resort far outweigh that small detail. If you’re looking for a place that combines relaxation, great amenities, and unforgettable scenery, I highly recommend El Conquistador. We’ll be back!
Briseida M — Google review
We had a wonderful time at El Conquistador Resort. The scenery alone is breathtaking: from the golf course to the ocean views, every corner feels like a postcard. The hotel itself was beautiful and it’s clear they’re making great strides in improving the property. A special thank you to Cysmal, who helped us with our reservation, and Miguel, who took care of our luggage and greeted us with such warmth. Their hospitality set the tone for our stay. Our room had a stunning view, and the waterpark, ferry rides to the private island, and cable cars made the entire experience unforgettable. There’s so much to do that we barely had a reason to leave the resort. The only downside was the food service. The quality and attention to detail didn’t match the rest of the experience — one meal even came out burnt, which delayed our plans. For the price point, the meals could definitely use improvement. Overall, despite the hiccup with the food, we truly enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff (especially Cysmal and Miguel) made us feel cared for, and we can’t wait to come back!

We booked roughly six months ago for a work conference (extended into a vacation) that would be held at this resort. Upon arriving at the beautiful location, we were checking in with a young man by the name of Jayden. Jayden tried to quickly slip through the detail that our king bedroom had been changed to a double queen. When asked for clarification he was very unconcerned with the fact that they had changed our reservation and given no notice. He offered no solution and no apology. We asked about a paid upgrade to be able to have a king bed and he told us that wasn’t an option. Because we were exhausted from travel and ready to rest we simply accepted the unwanted room change. Outside of our change in accommodations and Jayden’s lack of customer service, we truly enjoyed the resort. The rest of the staff was very kind and accommodating. Raquel (poolside waitress) and Angel (bellman) were two standout employees that went above and beyond. We enjoyed visiting with them both and greatly appreciated their kindness. The room was clean and well decorated. We visited before their peak season started, so there were very few wait times, but I can imagine that in peak season the ferry ride to the island might be tedious, albeit it worth it. Overall, it is a very nice resort. The drive from the airport is about an hour, but the views make it well worth it. Just confirm your desired room is still available and correct before arriving.
Lindsay H — Google review
The resort is amazing. The view is breathtaking! For that rate, would be nice to have a good breakfast buffet all week, including local dishes. The music is too loud.I was at the lobby and I heard 3 different songs at the same time! Also, I couldn’t have my window open due the music. I would like also to have the option of shuttles to San Juan as an alternative activity. The music is too loud for the parrots they have- small cages for their size?, with the a/c and the music all the time. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Simply one of the best resorts in Puerto Rico and for that matter the Caribbean! No need to leave the property, many quality restaurants to choose from at all levels, golf, tennis, pickle ball, fantastic gym! A private island with a private incredible beach. TOP notch!!!!!
Tyrone P — Google review
One of our all-time favorite places to visit. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. The valet and front counter team were especially incredible—so professional, warm, and genuinely proud of the resort. You could tell they love where they work. Many even shared stories about movies and events filmed there, and it’s clear they treat the property like home—and treat guests like family. The location itself is stunning, with unbeatable views and that unique charm you only find in Puerto Rico. The private island is a dream, and the waterpark was absolutely perfect for our young family. The food? Delicious. The cocktails? Fantastic. We’ve stayed on other islands and in other countries, but there’s something really special about the people and culture in Puerto Rico. Everyone is just so kind and welcoming. We’ll absolutely be back. Five stars all the way!
Curtis M — Google review
I absolutely love this place. Spent our honeymoon here and loved it. The only reason I give it 4 stars because the ferry to polomina island (which is gorgeous too, and the ferry ride is awesome) does not have a schedule. Our last day there we went to the island and waited to leave the island and hour and a half. Because of this we didn't get to enjoy the pool or more of the beach because we just spent time waiting in the ferry line. Also would have rented jet skis if it didn't have to be guided. I have a boating license and a boat at home, I understand liability but would have signed a waiver of some sort. The service everyone was spectacular, the room was amazing, and the bed was comfy.

Had a wonderful Birthday Spa experience at Zen Spa in SJU The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. My experience included time in the sauna , massage with Mario (he is a must see masseuse) and completed the day with a rejuvenating facial. To complete my experience I was offer complementary champagne or peach Bellini and was gifted Agave Nectar body oil as a birthday gift 🤗🥳 Thanks again Zen Span I will be back!

With my party of 4, this is an average review. Front desk staff was amazing, got us in same day, very pleasant and attentive. We had facials and massages. Facials were great for everyone. The massages are where we differ, we were under a towel and whatever is covered by the towel is not massaged. So just above the knee down and from the shoulders up on the front. Back to the bottom of the back, no hips quads or hamstrings. Very little attention to the neck. 2 of us requested deep tissue, it was not deep tissue, at least compared to what I typically get. Very grateful to get in for the service, would not go back for the massage.

Visited PR on honeymoon with my husband in late March 2025. We were looking forward to our first spa/massage experience with the couples package! The spa’s atmosphere and aesthetic itself is super relaxing, clean, and tranquil - but the couples package was not worth it. After introductions, the staff gives you a lanyard with your itinerary on it, and when we compared our itineraries, my husband and I realized we were only going to be together for the first service, a 40-minute massage. Then we were apart for nearly three to four hours while we separately got mani/pedis and facials. The facial was very painful and regarding the products used, the lady literally told us they could be duped on Amazon. The staff was overall very awkward. They only had one staff member per station (which made separating us make sense), but spending $600 to be in separate rooms for a “couples” package seems backwards. We always forget we even went when we reminisce about our honeymoon. But we did buy the products off Amazon so at least we have that. 3/10 as a couple, but maybe it’s better solo?
Rachel A — Google review
Recieved services here with my family and friends last week. We loved the spa facilities such as the sauna, unfortunately the steam room was out of order but we didn’t mind we had a great time. When we arrived we were greeted and then given robes, slippers and lockers to hold all of our things. Before our services, we were able to partake in tea and small snacks. I had the 80 minute massage along with the basic facial. My massage was awesome and my therapist did an amazing job. My facial was great too, however, I didn’t appreciate the upselling within the facial. Clients are coming to relax and most likely book the service they think is best for them beforehand and don’t need any extra push once they’re in the service room, it really takes away from the relaxation, which is why I’m rating our experience a 4/5. After our services we were treated to frozen Bellinis which was the perfect ending to our 4 hour spa visit. Give Zen Spa a try if you’re in the Condado area, I’m sure you will enjoy your time.

For my birthday, my partner gifted me a spa day at Zen Spa in Condado, and I want to share my most honest review. This wasn’t my first time there—I had previously gone with my mother, and the experience was already disappointing. The pedicure was poorly done, the nail polish was a mess, and the same goes for the manicure. Unfortunately, this second visit—though it was a special gift—was just as disappointing. The quality of both the manicure and pedicure was very low, especially considering the extremely high prices they charge. The only service that was actually worth it was the massage, which I can genuinely say was excellent. To make things worse, I accidentally left behind my necklace. I called the same day, and no one even made the effort to check for it. They simply took my name and number. I had to follow up the next day, only to be put on hold while they supposedly looked, and then told it wasn’t there. Overall, it was a poor-quality experience that does not match the high price point. Very disappointing.

This review make me so sad because I was a regular customer 10 years ago and the service before was fenomenal. On my come back for vacations I told my wife that this the best SPA in Puerto Rico. Now I will Not recommended this place at all. I gave 1 star out of 5 because the service wasn’t ZENsacional as they said. My wife and I received the follow service: * Ooh La La Relax Ahh 50min for both: I don’t know why they ask you what part of your body you want them to concentrate more if they are not going to do it. * Hands Off , and Footprints for both Poor service * Zen Facial™ The person who was doing the service to my wife spend the whole time selling there products when she was trying to be relax. If you want to have a good and relax time this is not the place.

This was zen spa at Hilton Caribe Hotel. Worst experience ever had. First they cancel my 80 min the morning of and tell me I’m only getting 50 or rebooked the next day. Then they set me up with a girl that does the lightest massage ever and trying to bs telling me it’s deep. I have a massage 3 times a month like I don’t know difference and wanting to upcharge me for it. . No shame no compensation just oh well come back tomorrow. No 2 strikes you’re out. I had to ask for sandals and walk out to desk with robe on because they wouldn’t come back to talk to me and there were 3 sitting at desk. They don’t answer phones either. I’m hitting cloud spa today. Don’t care if I have to pay for uber.

The format is a brilliant combination of strength training and conditioning. We spent most of the session using moderate free weights (dumbbells) and incorporating bodyweight movements for high-rep sets. If your goal is to move past basic cardio and truly feel powerful, defined, and stronger in your everyday life, Strong & Sculpted is the class to book. Since you control your weight choices, it’s highly adaptable for any fitness level. Just show up ready to work hard and leave feeling like you could conquer anything.

Ask for Jason at the Vanderbilt Spa for Cranial Sacral therapy in the spa’s “Out of Body” category. I have been to the Vanderbilt for dinner at Ola twice. Ola’s view of the ocean is stunning, the service impeccable, and the food is so delicious that when a family member ate my leftovers the next day, I needed some time alone to calm down. This was my first time at the spa and my first time receiving Cranial Sacral therapy. Jason provided me with excellent instruction regarding what to expect and how to make the most of my session. He opened and closed with sound therapy. About a quarter way through, I was literally lost in serenity. Toward the end, I experienced a profound sense of well being and a surprisingly intuitive hit of my life purpose. As Jason prepared to provide a space for me in the stillness center just outside the treatment room, he asked if I felt anything unusual. I answered without thinking, “I feel grounded, relaxed, and exactly where I am supposed to be.” I could not ask for more from the spa amenities or the other staff members. The colors are relaxing. The surfaces are clean. The steam room and the rain shower with seven jets are the best of any resort spa I’ve ever visited. What’s more, the entire staff exude the care and attentiveness that is so appreciated when traveling away from home.

I had the best massage of my life, with the most wonderful massage therapist, Elena, at the Spa at Condado Vanderbilt. The care received here tops all resort spas I’ve been to and was the most relaxing. The spa attendant was wonderful as well, everything is beautiful and well maintained. I would love to come back again just to have another massage with Elena. Five stars, much love and thanks for my experience here.

I had an excellent massage and experience at this location, so I returned in a few days. Even when you come for a massage, you get 45 minutes of additional time when you can relax in a lounge with drinks and snacks and get access to steam rooms and rainforest showers, which make for a tranquil experience overall. One of the most relaxing massages I had! Great staff and massage therapists— exceptionally competent and professional.
Manisit D — Google review
If I had to give it a title it would be “A Transformative Spa Experience at The Vanderbilt Spa” My experience began with Damina, who greeted me with joyful energy, like she was excited for me and believed in the shift my mind and body would undergo after leaving the spa. It felt sacred from the start. Then Jason, my massage therapist, worked his magic. I booked the 80-minute massage, and it felt like three hours of pure bliss. I usually go for 90 minutes or longer and still leave with a few knots in my shoulders, but Jason's techniques were different. I will absolutely be returning and I highly recommend the Spa to everyone. Amenities and atmosphere: The facilities were exquisite (sauna, steam room, etc.) They offered tea, champagne, yogurt, premium chocolates, a variety of nuts, and other treats during the cool-down. Bottom line: This experience was truly great, and I can’t wait to return.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I did a couple’s trip to PR and I visited the spa with my friend. The interior is so clean and beautiful and my masseuse did such a great job! I felt so relaxed when I left and felt like I was in a world of Zen while I was there! I would definitely go again!

This was one of the highlights of my San Juan trip! I frequently go to spas on the last day of my vacations. This one took it to a whole new level. From the time you enter until you leave the experience is top notch. The decor and amenities are also well done. My bestie and I went and had full body exfoliation coupled with full body massages. This was roughly 100 minutes of service. The exfoliation used coffee, chocolate, and caramel followed by an amazing shower experience. The massage was a lavender scent. I highly recommend.

16The Ritz Carlton Reserve SPA Botánico

Spa
Nestled within the exclusive Ritz Carlton Reserve, the Spa Botánico is a luxurious haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. With its sumptuous decor and knowledgeable therapists, this spa offers a wide range of internationally inspired treatments to cater to every guest's needs. The stunning grounds resemble an ancient villa, featuring separate men's and women's sections where guests can enjoy various amenities such as hot pools, cold plunge pools, steam rooms, and an air-conditioned relaxation room.
Beautiful facilities and outstanding service. I received the best massage I’ve ever gotten from Carlos and our attendant Jose was very welcoming and friendly. I can’t recommend it enough!
Juan Z — Google review
The grounds are absolutely beautiful and our massages were wonderful. Javier has great hands and he delivered a much needed deep tissue massage. Lucy gave my husband one of the best massages he has ever had! I like the foot scrub before the massage too. Nice touch. I wanted to give Botánico five stars but there were some issues. It’s hard to find. Waze guided us to the wrong entrance. We were able to find the correct entrance and there were few signs guide us to the spa. The signs were also very small. Once we were in the vicinity, it was unclear where to park. We asked a guard who told us where to park and said to come back to him and he would direct us. He directed us to a ballroom, not the spa! Despite the detour we arrived. The spa has a beautiful entrance with a gigantic ancestral-looking tree shading the stairway and entrance. The staff was gracious and served a yummy herbal iced tea while we waited to be taken to our massage room. The showers, relaxation room and locker room have everything you could need. The biggest fail, however, is the lack of people when you need them. It’s difficult to find staff if you want something or have an issue. When the cool dip pool step broke when I stepped on it, there was no one around to tell. Luckily, I was holding on to the rail otherwise I would have fallen and hit my head on a rock like surface! The staff person I told asked if I was okay and I told her I was, however, no management came to check on me. I will have a bruise on my foot from the impact but overall I am okay. The service people we interacted with were great, however, for a large resort it’s staffed as if it’s a small resort. The food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. We were told 45-60 minutes. If we go again, we will know how to get there and what to expect. I think we had high expectations because it is the Ritz Carlton but the overall experience was mediocre at best, unsafe at worst.

Absolutely amazing spa and wonderful staff. My fiancé planned the most beautiful spa day and proposal two months ago with the help of all the staff. The level of care and detail that they put into every single aspect of this spa is truly unique. I cannot thank everyone enough for being apart of the surprise of my life! I will be back many times over!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our honeymoon and six year anniversary. The experience was amazing. It has been a long time since I felt this relax. Lucy was my masseuse and she did a great job of loosening the knots on my shoulder. Daphne was my husband's and helped me reach my goal in finding the perfect mango to eat from their garden while sharing the history and upcoming couples treehouse massage. Shannon reminded us of the facilities that we were able to use after the massage, so thankful because I took full advantage of them, and she gave a great recommendation for dinner. Perfect closure was having Mara escort us to the dinner location so we wouldn't get lost. Strongly recommend here. - The Garcias

The resort is beautiful I tried calling several Times and left messages with the staff to receive a call back from the spa, and unfortunately no one got back to me. I had to go in person to schedule an appointment. The staff was friendly. The massage was nice. Used their sauna. And walked around their property. There are mango trees in the back as well as mini pineapple plants growing. I would recommend

I don’t have the vocabulary to describe our exceptional experience at this spa. I am back home now googling for a comparable spa for our next vacation because we can’t keep coming back to Dorado beach from Canada for the Spa right? Not that the resort wasn’t great but we would like to try different destinations. Anyway about the Spa, from the massive tree before the entrance through to the open relaxation area, then the private male or female area with pool, cold plunge, sauna, indoor relaxation area & dressing rooms to the private oasis were we experienced our couples tamarind bodyscrub and massage….everything felt like a world class experience. I’ll never see a spa the same way again! Tips: If you have a service booked get there an hour early then plan to stay later. I should have planned to spend about 4 hours total but we had other thing booked which we almost canceled. You don’t need to have a service booked to use the spa, you can pay to enjoy the facility.
Sandra S — Google review
Absolutely stunning spa, it's more than the nice massage itself which you can get anywhere else. The grounds are reminiscent of an ancient villa, with separate men and women's sections. You can be as clothed or unclothed as you like. I sat in the hot pool and rotated between that, the cold plunge pool and the steam room. There is also a very nice air conditioned relaxation room. See pictures for more details. The standard massage was fairly Swedish. They gave it a Spanish name but it wasn't that different from anything else I have experienced. Very nice staff and I felt relaxed and rejuvenated! DEFINITELY GET THERE AN HOUR EARLY AND STAY LATE so you can enjoy the grounds and the experience. This is not a rush in and out to get your massage kind of place. Make it an unrushed experience and you won't regret it.

The day spa Ozone Aqua Massage & AromaTherapy Lounge in Old San Juan offers a wide range of aromatherapy and hydro massage treatments, as well as oxygen bars. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the treatments are very relaxing. There are only two hydro massage machines, so if you're looking for a couples-friendly spa this may not be the best fit, but overall it's a great option for those seeking a relaxing day out.
Sasha is friendly and really makes sure that you have the most relaxing experience. Great essential oil blends and CBD options, which we didn't try, but many couples did. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back twice. There are only two hydro massage machines, so that may be best for couples or a patient group. There are six main oxygen stations, and a mobile one.

My session was in this order: 20 mins Oxygen CBD Aromatherapy + 20 minutes AquaMassage + 20 more minutes of oxygen to finish. I felt so relaxed at the end that I almost floated out the door when it was time to leave! Def coming back.

On a girls trip, we came in off our ship, walking around we discovered this little gem of a place. We went in and inquired about what it was they offered. The girl behind the counter said nothing right now, I’m eating my lunch, come back in an hour. Well, of course a rain storm came in and we had to get back to the ship. I hope my next cruise later this year when we stop I will be able to go back and see what it’s all about and try it out. Looks like a great place to relax.

This place was great!! The gal who ran the place was super knowledgeable and kind, we actually kind of loved her and ended up hanging out chatting about life for quite a while. The massage was really unique and felt great for fatigued muscles, it’s really nice how you can stop the water so that it targets your most sore areas. The O2 bar was a first for me and was so much fun, plus it felt great. Highly recommend :) it was the highlight of our day and an hour well spent!

Playuela Beach, also known as Playa Sucia, is a picturesque beach located near the Cabo Rojo lighthouse and is part of the Boqueron State Forest. It offers stunning views of the lighthouse perched on the cliff top. While car access to the beach has been closed since Hurricane Maria, visitors can still reach it by walking through mangroves. The beach is relatively empty, making it perfect for sunbathing and leisurely walks.
Beautiful secluded beach with a lighthouse close by! 45min from downtown Mayaguez and maybe a 30min walk from parking. Limited parking so go early. There was plenty of parking when I got there 930-10am. I'm so glad I found out about it.
John B — Google review
Playuela also know as Playa Sucia is a wonderful beach near the light house. It is hard to get to since the road is rural and the gates usually open at 8 or 9am. On some seasons the beach is full of seaweed. If you visit, adding a hike around the lighthouse is worth it on your beach day.
Danilo G — Google review
Pretty good beach with some waves, but not too big with turquoise waters and white sands. Not too far off is a historic lighthouse with beautiful cliff scenery. There is a decent amount of algae and seaweed on the beach. The road getting to this area is atrocious and only about 40 spaces for parking.
אחד ש — Google review
A lot of dry seaweed, but the walk is worth the views! Climb up the trails to get a aerial view of the beach and cliffs.

Gorgeous beach with a lot of friendly locals. There are usually food shacks on the roads nearby, so you can stock up on lunch and some Medalla Lights before you go.

THE ROAD TO THE PARKING LOT IS CLOSED NOW. YOU HAVE TO PARK AT THE GATE AND WALK 25 MIN TO GET TO THE BEACH! Be aware before visiting! This beach used to be one of the best!

Awesome. Great beach. Very calm, warm water. The beach had fine white sand. There was almost no sea weed. Dirt road to the beach had a lot of pot holes, but it was not a problem.

My aunt and I enjoyed massages her on our second day staying with the hotel. She had a Swedish massage with a gentleman named Alexis. She said he was gentle yet firm and had a great experience. I had a prenatal massage from an older lady, I forget her name, but she was great. A little more gentle than I like, but I think that’s normal when you’re pregnant 😅. Get there 30 minutes before your appointment so you can enjoy the dry sauna(I did not because pregnant) and other amenities.

This was my first Thai massage & Gloria was amazing! She made my experience so relaxing & comfortable. The spa is beautiful & has a gorgeous view of the coast. Thank you for a great time!
Kathy T — Google review
Went for a deep tissue that cost $230 after tax and “suggested tip” it was not deep tissue at all. Very soft an the masseuse took over 10 minutes of break during the massage so it ended up being a 40 minute massage instead of 50. Tried to explain to staff the issue and while they adjusted the price slightly but did not seem receptive to further adjustment or my feedback.
Wil M — Google review
I booked my girlfriend a facial and spa experience and they confirmed it via text. She showed up for her appointment and the spa was completely closed. No one from the spa bothered to call and tell her that her appointment would not be taking place. I spoke with management of the hotel and they said that the spa has been closed for over a week, which was prior to them confirming the appointment! They refused to do anything to help - all that all they could do was give me someone's email. No one took responsibility or ownership of the situation. They claimed that the spa was a separate "concession" and acted completely indifferent to the situation. It's completely unacceptable and unbefitting of an establishment like the Fairmont. We all understand that things happen, but to not inform clients in advance is absolutely unacceptable and indicative of incompetence and mismanagement.
Joe R — Google review
The ambience of the spa is wonderful, they have a waiting area with water and snacks. A bathroom with a sauna, robes, towels, etc. The deep tissue massage with Yailinee was incredible, she has a great hand and made sure I was comfortable.
