1Spa Gregorie's Newport Beach

Spa
Nestled in the heart of Newport Beach, Spa Gregorie's offers a serene retreat from everyday life, making it a beloved destination for relaxation and rejuvenation. With over 20 years of experience, this spa has earned accolades as one of the best in Orange County. Guests can indulge in an array of services including soothing massages, revitalizing facials, and pampering manicures and pedicures that feature classic elements like sea salts and lavender.
I had an amazing experience here! My boyfriend gave me a gift certificate and using it was easy. I was able to make an appointment for a 60 minute massage right away as they had plenty of massage therapists and availability. Ranelle was so sweet and friendly, I even got to talk to her for a little during my massage. Definitely recommend booking a service here and taking advantage of the amenities they have to offer.
M M — Google review
I received a gift card to Spa Gregorie’s and scheduled an appointment for a facial. Booking was easy, and the scheduler was very kind. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the entryway, which featured a variety of products, and the front desk staff was welcoming. However, there were a few hiccups with my experience. I initially booked a 60-minute facial but was scheduled for 75 minutes instead. Thankfully, they accommodated my request to adjust the time. Once I entered the locker room, I found the space underwhelming. The flooring felt more commercial than spa-like, and there was no noticeable relaxing aroma or soft music, which I expected. The locker room itself felt more like an upscale gym bathroom rather than a tranquil spa retreat. While they provided robes, the one I received was visibly worn and tattered, which I also noticed on another guest’s robe. This is an easy fix that should be addressed immediately. The relaxation area was comfortable, and the sofas were a nice touch. However, the décor was outdated, and the space could benefit from a design refresh. Despite being the first appointment of the day, my service started late, which unfortunately cut into my treatment time. Inside the facial room, the bed lacked warmth—something I typically expect during a spa treatment. Looking up, I noticed the vents were old and dusty, which was not ideal when lying face-up for an extended period. The facial itself was fine, but the flow felt disjointed. At one moment, my face was being cleansed, and the next, my hand was being massaged. While the massage was nice, it didn’t feel cohesive within the treatment. I had also requested extractions, but I don’t believe I actually received them, as I didn’t feel any of the usual techniques used for blackhead removal. One thing the spa does well is its investment in quality skincare products. The serums, lotions, and sunscreen applied at the end smelled wonderful and felt great on my skin. Another issue worth mentioning is that the photos on the Google Maps page don’t seem to reflect the Newport Beach location. This could create misleading expectations for first-time visitors. Overall, Spa Gregorie’s has potential, especially given its location in Newport Beach, but it could benefit from some updates and more attention to detail. I would highly recommend management consider bringing in a secret shopper to experience these issues firsthand. Many of the concerns I noted—like worn-out robes, dusty vents, and outdated spaces—are things employees likely see daily, yet they haven’t been addressed. I have another gift card, but I’m not in a rush to return for a service. Instead, I’ll likely use it toward purchasing products from their shop.

Been here twice, and had a bad experience both times. The first time, another client took my shoes from the locker room and front desk and manager’s solution was “you can wear our spa sandals home and if we find your shoes we will call you”. My shoes, by the way, are $1000 shoes. Not that the price should matter, but it is insane to tell a customer that you aren’t going to go grab their shoes from the customer who probably took them, instead, “they’ll call me IF I they find my shoes”. I was stuck at the spa for an hour after my treatment trying to get them to bring me my shoes. Decided to give this place another try yesterday, frankly because they had same day appointments available and other places did not, which should have been my first red flag, so my mistake. I was greeted by the same receptionist as last time I was there, Cameron is her name I believe, and she is the rudest receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. From the second I walked in the door, her tone with me was rude, short, and snarky. I let it go, yet as I was leaving my treatment, I witnessed her speak to the client in front of me in a perfectly normal tone, laughing with her, and as soon as it was my turn, watched her tone completely change to being rude and snarky again. For a spa that charges as much as they do, the least they can do is offer good customer service. To be greeted and end your treatment with a rude receptionist is completely unacceptable, especially since your clients are the reason you have a business to work at and receive a paycheck. I guess Cameron at the front desk doesn’t know her job description at this place lol. Extremely regretful that I gave this place my business twice. It’s unfortunate because my actual masseuse was nice. There’s no shortage of nice spa’s in Newport so save your money and use it towards an actual luxury spa! At least there you will be treated with respect by the front desk!

I had a wonderful Lymphatic Massage with Tiffany. She did a great job addressing my needs. She is friendly and compassionate. She is very very knowledgeable with the Lymphatic Drainage Massage and it helped me very much. Thank you so much Tiffany for taking such great care of me. I would highly recommend her services. Thank you!

Came here this afternoon for a massage since I had two gift certificates. The lady who massaged me was named Pam I believe very sweet lady . I came here once before and loved it but when I went she barely gave me a massage she kept talking which I didn’t mind cause I said a few things but she kept going and I didn’t want to be rude but I was trying to close my eyes and relax . I told her to focus on my problem area since I work a lot and she did but towards the middle she kept going over my neck in these weird motions for 10 minutes like I pay 150 for that ?? Then she was like let me tap on ur legs so u can get a full body massage experience im like ok. I’m not the person to confront which is hard but jeez I was not expecting that at all . If your gonna charge your customers this much plz get better people to be a massage therapist. Oh and half way through she complained her arm was hurting which took time off my TIMED massage like rlly . I understand if you need to step out but it was very unprofessional .

Always a wonderful place to receive attention, relaxation, massage or facial. The atmosphere is quiet and the available amenities are great. Been several times and planning an additional visit soon. I love the gift area.

Started coming here recently for my pedicures and it’s heavenly! Julie is an absolute doll and it’s very attentive to what your skin needs using top quality products. I’ve enjoyed my pedís and look forward to experiencing some of their other services as well!

Birthday celebration for the wife. Took advantage of Spa Date package for two and was not disappointed. Nice clean facilities. Quiet room had snacks to share and different types of champagne. Sauna and showers in locker rooms. No “true” eucalyptus steam room, but showers get hot and branded eucalyptus “mist” included to get the job done. Great customer service and they made my wife feel extra special.

Notable street
S Pelican Hill Rd is a scenic hillside road that leads to the upscale Resort at Pelican Hill, offering panoramic views of the ocean. This grand estate spans 504 coastal acres and features Italian-inspired architecture, oversized Bungalows, and Villas nestled along terraced lanes. The resort provides exceptional comfort and privacy, with posh accommodations boasting marble bathrooms and up to 3,500 square feet of space overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
During the holidays, like fourth of july, you get to go to the top of a hill, where there isnt many hills to begin with. You can watch fireworks for free at such a height where there isnt a single moment where there isnt at least 2000 fireworks in the sky.... Literally both oc and la county fire works. Bring a blanket, join everyone else, and sing the national anthem with everyone else there.. Proud to be an american :) once you experience thos, youll thank me big time :))))

I always visit for the breathtaking views. The staff is incredibly friendly and the environment is impeccably clean. Although the pricing reflects its upscale nature, every experience—whether staying overnight, enjoying the scenery, or having coffee—has been positive. I would definitely come back.

Montanya Spa is a hidden gem in Santa Ana, often recommended by locals and visitors alike. The spa offers a variety of treatments including massages, facials, and body treatments such as the sanctuary body treatment and sea salt body glow. Licensed estheticians provide personalized skin analysis for each client before their chosen treatment. Visitors can unwind at Montanya Spa after exploring the museums of Santa Ana.
Came for a sanctuary treatment package, this was wonderful! Came with facial, massage, body scrub/rinse and a solid salad lunch. All the staff were courteous and good, could not have asked for nicer people or a more relaxing environment. Would highly recommend

I have been going to Montanya for a few years now. I've only ever had massages there. I have two ladies that are my go to, Jennifer and Celeste. They are both finominal at what they do. I go to them to relax or if you're have muscle tension they can provide a deep tissue massage to work out the knots. I haven't ever wanted to go anywhere else.

Amazing, hidden gem of a spa! For my best friends bachelorette, we decided on a spa day after a few days at the Disneyland parks. We were able to schedule 7 massages on a Sunday afternoon easily! Angel was fantastic and helpful in scheduling and confirming details. The massages were also extremely inexpensive compared to other spas in the area ($150 after 25% tip). They could be charging 3x the amount for the quality of services! The spa is an extremely calming environment. It’s very clean and offers a small sauna and large meditation room for after services. Our massages were all wonderful and thorough. The 7 of us were treated by Jennifer, Celeste, and Kyana. We highly recommend Montanya, and can’t wait to return next time we’re in the area!

I highly recommend this hidden gem in Santa Ana. The building and ambiance are top notch and the massage therapists are all very talented. I see DeeDee who is amazing. She provides a truly personalized experience. Everytime I come in the massage is different, but always the highest caliber. One of my favorite parts about the experience is that you can sit in the quiet room after your massage with a heated shoulder wrap 💗 Thank you also to and the staff who are always friendly and accommodating.

Quaint little boutique spa. It is a bit pricey but they offer amenities as well with your service. There's a shower and sauna. They offer tea, water and a little biscuit cookie.
Elle — Google review
It is a nice, clean place but the prices are high compared to other full on spas. I guess they have to maintain expenses somehow but you can get the same level of massage at a fraction price anywhere else.
Nadia M — Google review
My first time here to this beautiful spa. It’s a big house turned into a quaint cozy spa. I felt nice and relax after I rushed here. My massage was average but my experience was above average.
Yen B — Google review
Always enjoy coming here. It is much more intimate then going to a larger place. The TI that was done years ago has been well maintained and adds to the experience. Street parking can be limited. There is a paid parking lot just next door intended for Bowers but I'm sure you can park there as long as one pays I think $6. They encourage stacked parking in the driveway. You will need to leave your cars should they need to reposition the vehicles. There is a lovely exterior sitting area. There is a lovely meditation room with chairs that recline and each has a blanket. Tea and a yummy almond biscotti for your enjoyment. The changing room is efficient and has a IR sauna and a shower. The downstairs restroom is lovely and very clean. They do lovely touches such as sprigs of lavender on the hand towels. They practically go thru and service the restroom after every client. They have a nice little retail area at the front desk. Appointments fill up so one must make a reservation in advance.

Guests can also enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness center, movement studio, and lap pool with breathtaking Pacific Ocean views.

Every service provider is experienced and truly exceptional at what they do. The massage tables are fully adjustable, warm, and designed for ultimate comfort, especially for those of us who are larger-chested—the adjustable chest area is a total game-changer. Not to mention the breathtaking outdoor relaxation area, which overlooks the ocean, making it a serene escape from the everyday hustle. Rod is my go-to for massages, and he's simply the best. I also have to give a shout-out to Jose, the incredible pool attendant who makes every visit extra special with his attentive service. Whether you're in Laguna Beach or Newport Beach, I can't recommend this spa enough. Treat yourself—you won't be disappointed!
Kathi B — Google review
We visited the Spa at the Montage Laguna Beach as part of a celebration for my little sister-in-law, our beautiful bride-to-be—and it could not have been a more luxurious, relaxing, and joy-filled experience. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was absolutely outstanding. We were welcomed like VIPs, complete with glasses of bubbly at check-in, and every member of the spa staff made us feel truly special. I was worried that since we were not resort guests that we may have a more limited experience, but I was wrong! We spent the entire day—from 8 AM until the late afternoon—enjoying the world-class amenities, and I cannot overstate how incredible they were. The pool is GLORIOUS, with stunning views and such a serene vibe. There are two whirlpools, a cold plunge, a sauna, steam rooms, and the most thoughtfully stocked locker areas I’ve ever seen. The showers were exquisite, and they had absolutely everything: disposable brushes, hot tools, premium toiletries—you name it. And the massages? Quite literally the best any of us have ever had. All three of us left our treatments floating. My mother-in-law, who has been dealing with recent health issues and a fall, told us it was the first time in a long time she felt genuine relief and looseness in her body. That alone made it worth everything. I had done a ton of research to find the perfect spa experience for this special occasion, and the Spa at Montage absolutely nailed it. From the ambiance to the food service (yes, the poolside lunch was delicious and the service top-tier)—everything was flawless. If you’re looking for a true luxury spa day, look no further. This is the one. Wholeheartedly recommend!

This was my 3rd time visiting this spa and I’m not sure why it’s taken me this long to write a review. I absolutely love Spa Montage! From the attendants in the spa facility to the massage and facial therapists to the staff working at the pool, every time I’ve visited, I’ve been so impressed. Easily my favorite spa in Southern California! That view from the adult/spa pool is hard to beat. It comes at a pretty penny, but so well worth it in my opinion!
Trina B — Google review
Incredible services and pool! I had a facial and two massages during my stay at the hotel and each one was incredible. When stepping into the spa, I was warmly welcomed each time. The facilities are very clean and comfortable and the pool has an amazing view! I will say that the drink service is incredibly slow out at the pool but that was not due to the staff there- they were all hustling and so helpful! The hotel needs more bartenders, IMO. A huge perk is being able to use the pool if you have services- the pool has an incredible view and is a highlight for sure! Absolutely would return to the spa! Also, great retail items!

My first time at The Montage and the spa services did not disappoint. I had a massage and Jaclyn was amazing. It’s like she knew exactly where and when to apply less and more pressure without me saying a word. She is a very experienced masseuse and has mastered the art of her profession. Just like a doctor, she just knows exactly where you need relief and she delivers. Jaclyn is very polite and fun to talk to as well, making this experience a truly memorable one. Jaclyn is definitely my “go to” when visiting Laguna from now on. Thank you Jaclyn and Thank You Montage Resort for recognizing the talent that this young lady has, you have a hidden gem as an employee at this resort.

I booked a 60 minute massage as a Babymoon treat and arrived as requested at 9:15am for my 9:15am appointment. Despite this punctuality, a queue at check-in meant I wasn't helped until 9:20. By the time I had changed and entered the massage room, it was nearing 9:30. Consequently, the massage was rushed and concluded at 10:15, making my booked 60 minute massage a 45 minute service. When one reserves a 60 minute massage at a 5 star hotel, the expectation is to receive the full intended service. The fact that this wasn’t delivered, despite being charged the full price of $345, made this experience underwhelming and disappointing.
Julia — Google review
Very UNDERWHELMING spa and experience. The spa is dated and woman’s area very small. One sauna (which was not hot at all). I had to ask a worker about the temperature to which she said “it IS hot😑”. The steam room was not very steamy, and not Eucalyptus scented or anything. The actual massage was even more underwhelming. I had the “Laguna Beach Massage-60 minutes”. The massage lady spent more time playing around with the blankets that are covering me and walking around the bed than actually providing a good massage- well definitely not worth the price. $275 plus 20% service fee, LOL!😳. For what?? Their charge is very deceitful, because they charge the 20% and still have an extra space for gratuity when the 20% is already the gratuity. I paid a lot more for a unsatisfactory service. The small hot tea station had “hot” water sitting out that was literally cold. When I asked the worker lady about the water and why it was cold, she said “I don’t know” and I had to figure out to adjust the kettle temperature myself, yet they work there… so shouldn’t the know that’s how it works?🤔 Finally, the outdoor/coed area. Horrible! Very, EXTREMELY LOUD, packed and not private at all! The Montage Hotel Laguna in general is very public as it is. The spa has the same feel. The pool is just above the public beach walking trail with everyone able to look in and, hence, add to the noise at the spa. Not relaxing, nowhere to lay down. Feels like the main pool at the hotel. Overall, the facilities were unimpressive. The spa was not relaxing. Massage was very bad. Consider going elsewhere.
Jane G — Google review
Massage and facilities were great. My experience was subpar mainly because the person at the front desk was incompetent. Here are the reasons: 1) There was a 20% "service charge" that is not disclosed upfront. I asked the front desk person if this included gratuity. She told me that it was not gratuity and did not go to the masseuse. So, I paid a tip on top of the service charge -- making my $275 massage $360. I later found out from my friend that the front desk person was all wrong, 15% of the service charge does go to the masseuse. 2) The woman did not tell me or make any effort to validate my valet parking upon check in. My friend was offered validation upon check--in. I did not know this until much later. 3) I was apparently supposed to get an offer of champagne upon check in. I did not. So I had to pay for my own glass. All in all, this incompetent women cost me over $100 in extra payments.

Burke Williams Day Spa is a luxurious retreat located near the outlets in Orange, offering a serene ambiance reminiscent of an Italian villa. With over 25 treatment rooms, guests can indulge in various pampering experiences such as massages, facials, nail care, and spa baths. Voted as the best spa multiple times by readers of prominent publications like the Orange County Register and OC Weekly, this spa prides itself on exceptional service and friendly staff.
I haven't been back to Burke Williams for 3 years and I've missed it so much! I tell my son it's literally my favorite place besides home. Upon checking in, I went ahead and signed up for a membership again because I was happy to be back. The staff member who checked me in was so sweet and cheerful. It was a great start. I began with a deep tissue massage with Lydia. Oh my gosh, it was blissful! She focused only on the areas I was having issues with, which I appreciated. I felt the pain and tension in my neck and shoulders release, and I felt so relieved after. I took a nap in the quiet room. I loved how they have blankets. My only issue was the door handle was so loud so any time someone came in or out, it would startle me. 😬 Still, I took an amazing nap in there. I then got a spa style facial with Bridget. It was phenomenal! I left glowing! Checking out was great. I was helped by a sweet woman with gorgeous red hair. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I do miss the sweet lemonade they had and the vanilla lemongrass tea. The apple cinnamon tea was okay, but hopefully it's just seasonal. Overall, I am so excited to be a member again and return every month.

I've been a loyal client at Burke Williams in Orange for over a year now, and I always book my facials with Sarah—she is absolutely amazing! I’ve been getting the Regenerate Facial, and the transformation has been incredible. My skin is now so hydrated and glowing, and I no longer feel the need to wear makeup, which I’m beyond grateful for. Sarah’s expertise has truly made a lasting difference in my skin’s health and appearance. On top of her incredible skills, Sarah is such a joy to be around. She’s sweet, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her clients' well-being. While the amenities at Burke Williams are nice, I honestly keep coming back because of Sarah. She’s the real reason I look forward to every visit! Highly recommend booking with her if you want not just glowing skin, but an overall fantastic experience.

I celebrated my birthday at Burke Williams, and the entire experience was flawless. Everything—from the beautiful exterior, interior, to the friendly reception (Cassie), the tour, and the phenomenal masseuse (Alimah and Ellen)—was absolutely perfect. The most impressive part was that they won over my husband, a man who has never liked massages. He loved it so much that he asked if I wanted a membership, and said he would definitely go back. We've had massages all over the world, but this was, without a doubt, the best we've ever had.

My first time at Burke Williams, and I loved it! Viviana was my massage therapist and she listened to me and was gentle and made the experience really enjoyable and wonderful (I had a bad experience before where I was in pain for weeks, on a cruise line massage, and was nervous). I loved it so much I will be going back to her!

Love BW! Had a 50 min massage with Amora and she did an outstanding job. I told her I wanted slow, relaxing movement, medium pressure and upper body work only. I also emphasized to her that I love my scalp and neck massaged because that is where I carry the most tension. She was so attentive and did exactly what I asked for. Also, she included some light neck stretches which were very helpful. Her demeanor was very kind and professional. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her work. Very gifted. I will definitely be rebooking with her again. Also, the spa itself is beautiful, smells great and I love the amenities. I bought my membership back in August and so glad I did. Well worth the price and experience.

Love the service and staff. Everyone is friendly and they all smile and greet you when they see you. Lots of amenities. I love being in the quiet room and the social lounge. The women’s spa/locker room is a little small but all the guests were really nice about sharing the area. Robes don’t have pockets!! I guess they don’t want you to have your phones with you. But there’s only one clock and it’s in the locker room! So I wasn’t able to determine what time it was to go to the common area to wait for my appt. There are no clocks in the quiet room so I kept having to leave to see what time it was.

My 2 stars does not reflect the spa experience it self. I would give it 4 stars however I gifted my daughter the spa day and they insisted on her giving her CC number upon registration. Upon leaving they then charged her CC. I was so embarrassed that they then charged her CC instead of mine. Upon a phone call to them they took off her charge and put on mine. However they did not apologize or make any attempt to remedy by embarrassment. I was a return customer.

What sets Lemon and Honey apart is its commitment to using organic skincare products that harness natural healing properties.
I've been going to L&H for years now and love everything about it especially the owner Rebekah!! The estheticians are all so great and educated and really take the time to get to know you and your skin and a major perk is they use Eminence products!! If you need a massage Ray is amazing! But the others are great as well! If you're looking for a clean, relaxing, and cute day spa with great products look no further. You will always leave glowing and relaxed.

We hosted my daughter’s 9th birthday at Lemon & Honey and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Rebekah was amazing and made sure every detail was perfect. A group of ten girls had an absolute blast getting cozy in their robes and headbands before being pampered with chocolate, strawberry, or blueberry mini facials (all with kid safe products). It was INCREDIBLE! Beyond the service, the spa itself is beautiful and has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. All the girls said it was the best party ever, and all of their moms are planning to come back and book services for themselves!!! Thank you, Lemon & Honey for an unforgettable day!!!!

Love this salon! The place is very zen and super clean! Shayne at the front desk is always very friendly and has helped me pick out the perfect products to benefit my skin. The prices for the skincare is so reasonable . At other salons , I was always scared to ask how much the products were but definitely not here. I signed up for the membership at this salon and couldn’t be happier with the benefits I receive from it. I would definitely recommend discussing the different membership plans with a staff member . I had the hydra facial with Chasity and it was fantastic. The facial was the best facial I’ve ever had . It’s been a week and my skin looks awesome from the facial and I love the new products I bought. Thank you Shayne and Chasity! A +

I had the absolute pleasure of receiving a facial from Raquel at Lemon and Honey Day Spa, and I can’t say enough about how incredible the experience was. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The spa itself is serene and beautifully maintained, setting the perfect tone for relaxation. Raquel took the time to assess my skin’s needs and tailored the facial to address my concerns. Her technique was both gentle and effective — I could feel the care and precision in every step. The products she used smelled divine and left my skin glowing, hydrated, and refreshed. What truly set this experience apart was Raquel’s thoughtful approach and her ability to make the facial feel not just like a treatment, but a rejuvenating escape. My skin has never looked better, and I’ve already booked my next appointment.

I've been coming here regularly for a couple of years now and absolutely love it—everyone is amazing! But Raquel, she's the star of the show. Her skincare recommendations are always spot-on, and every visit with her is a treat that leaves me glowing and feeling great. Truly a gem.

Been going to Raquel for years now, so this review is long overdue. My brows grow quickly and get out of control. A friend told me about brow waxing and recommended Lemon and Honey. The spa has a great vibe. Very clean and relaxing. The staff are all super friendly. And Raquel is the best! I was nervous the first time, cause I didn’t want my brows to look too thin or styled. Raquel makes sure they always have a clean but natural look. Now I’m a regular. I’ve also gone for facials and spray tanning. Raquel and Lemon and Honey are great at it all!

I have had two amazing facial experiences at Lemon & Honey Day Spa, thanks to Sara! She is incredibly thorough and truly gifted at what she does. Her touch is both delicate and effective. I loved the products she used on my face, but she also knows how to utilize the waiting time with effective massages around neck and shoulders. She melted away the tension in my shoulders and worked magic on the tiny muscles in my TMJ and forehead. What I really appreciate is how calm and quiet she keeps the environment. She speaks softly, never interrupts the peaceful flow of the session, and creates such a soothing, serene vibe. Her recommendations are always thoughtful, and I love that she’s never pushy with products. Sara is also skilled in a variety of treatments, including buccal massage, and you can tell she’s been doing this for a long time. If you’re looking for someone who blends deep technique with a calming presence, I highly recommend booking with her!

I have been going to this day spa for several years and would highly recommend them. Starting from when you walk in; you are greeted with a smile from either Shayne, Atheena, or Raquel. All three of them make guests feel very welcomed. My first esthetician was Caitlyn; a skilled worker and a nice person as well. She's no longer there, for she is finishing school. However, I felt it necessary to mention her in my review because I am thankful for her dedication to her work and well-disposed manner. She left my skin feeling bright and refreshed after each appointment. I now see Paige; an excellent esthetician, devoted to her clients, knowledgeable in skin care, who implements the right products, leaving your epidermis in great condition, and who follows through to achieve long-term results for your skin. Thank you Paige! I appreciate you. Thank you Lemon and Honey day spa and keep up the great work! EMMA

Balboa Bay Resort is a luxurious waterfront retreat in Newport Beach, offering stunning bay views and sunsets over Balboa Bay's harbor. The resort features 159 contemporary guestrooms and suites with relaxed yet refined accommodations.
We were looking for a hotel that gave that destination vacation feel versus just staying at a hotel. We had a bay view room and the view was spectacular! The room had a big walk out balcony with double glass doors that we would leave open day and night. The service was 5 star and we especially loved the fact that this hotel is pet friendly! The entire trip was worth every penny spent!

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The manager, Ali, went above and beyond by surprising us with an upgrade to a beautiful room. The service was exceptional—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. They even sent champagne and macarons to our room as a special birthday treat. After lunch, our waiter overheard a friend wishing me happy birthday and, within minutes, brought out a complimentary cake dessert. From the spotless, comfortable room to the breathtaking views of the boats and bay, every moment felt relaxing and special. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We travel frequently and stay in a lot of luxury resorts and this place ranks at the top. From very beautiful well kept grounds to stunning views from a bayside room. That being said, the most impressive part of our stay was the staff. Literally from our first point of contact at the Valet drive with Ron to a very simple check in with Joshua. We are and drank at the A&O Restaurant and got amazing service both nights from DeAnne and Dylan. Then, upon checking out we had a few questions about our bill that were quickly addressed and taken care of by Ali, Lou and Millie at the front desk. In all of our travels we have never received such amazing service. I would highly recommend this hotel especially with a bay view. Thank you to all of the hotel staff that we got the pleasure to meet. Keep up the great work and we’ll be seeing you again soon!

We had such a wonderful experience with the customer service team here. The front desk staff — Faatimah, Josh, and Ronald — truly went above and beyond during our three-day stay. We had multiple questions and needed help with different things, and each time they were so kind, patient, and eager to assist. Their exceptional customer service made our stay smooth and enjoyable. Thank you for making us feel so well taken care of — we really appreciate it!

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at! The room was so clean and you truly can't beat the waterfront views. We ate at the A+O restaurant at the hotel and the food was amazing! It was the perfect family friendly getaway. We can't wait to plan another trip back!

I've stayed at many hotels throughout Europe and the U.S., of various ratings, and this one is in my Top 5 at least. The staff and their attentiveness is exemplary. The rooms and hallways are very airy and inviting...even the elevators are noticably slightly large than most hotels. The hotel restaurant breakfast was also excellent, both the food and the service. The only very small negative is that the shower doesn't have a handheld showerhead which people with long hair may find limiting.
Bartel D — Google review
For the exorbitant price it charges, this hotel leaves much to be desired. Our room was outdated and had a lingering chemical smell that would not dissipate even with the windows all day. The service at the restaurant was incredibly slow and the price did not match the amount or quality of the food. The hotel did not honor the property credit it promoted upon checkout, leaving us with an unexpected high bill. The only decent service was the valet. I would not spend my money here again.
Elizabeth H — Google review
My overall experience was incredibly clunky. Things were lacking clarity. Be warned that you will pay an additional $80 a day 40 for parking and 40 for resort fees. That may not seem like a lot to some of you but it was surprising to me and not clear till after we checked in. We were only there for 24hrs so that also impacts this review. Check in staff were kind. The lead bell man was helpful in trying to find a room that had already been cleaned and was ready for us since we were about 20 min early for check in. That was nice. However, things still weren't super clear. Should we get our bags and wait, should we go park, should we go wait at the bar or patio. I was looking for direction didn't get much and kinda felt stupid. (I don't like that) But no one was mean. First room we were put in I believe it was room 241 no one should ever be in that room. It literally vibrates I believe due to an AC unit near by. It felt like we were in the hull of a ship. Thankfully we called and they moved us to room 251. It was loud in the hallway but thankfully was quite and very spacious in the room. We did have to wait outside our room for over 20 minutes with our bags waiting to be let in. From the time we arrived to finally being in our new room was about 2hrs thats a long time on a Wednesday afternoon and wasn't the best start to our stay. The keys are also kinda funny they are wood type coins they are cool but also weird. Felt very losable, and we had issues with them leaving the parking area and we had to go back at 10:30 pm because it was not working getting back into our room. Overall a great location, it served its purposes but for the price you are paying I thought the experience would be a bit better.

The spa provides exceptional service and amenities including spacious locker rooms, showers, saunas, and jacuzzis for both men and women. Guests are welcomed with warmth and hospitality from the moment they arrive, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience. My massage was with Ryan and he did an amazing job with his consent based communication, education, and then massage. My wife had a prenatal massage w/ Raquel and she was also phenomenal. The facilities were clean, everyone was extremely helpful, and I loved having all the supplies to get ready after.

The spa has a lovely entrance and waiting area. My massage was nice and the warming bed was great. The therapist was knowledgeable and capable. The amenity area is packed and I could hear a lot of activity in the hallway during my service. I couldn’t get in the nap room, the jacuzzi was full. It was a nice day but the amenities were a don’t look too close situation. The therapist was so good which is why my rating is a 4.

I’ve always appreciated the relaxing environment and services at Burke Williams, but I’m extremely disappointed and concerned after my recent visit. A day after using the wet sauna and jacuzzi at the spa, my wife developed a staph infection. She take hygiene very seriously and have never had this issue before, which makes me believe the facilities were not properly sanitized. This experience was not only painful but also affected her daily life and required medical treatment. SULFAMETHOXAZOL and Mupirocin. hope the spa takes this matter seriously and reevaluates their sanitation protocols, especially in shared wet areas. Cleanliness and safety should be a top priority in any spa . unfortunately, we won’t return or recommend Burke Williams until I feel confident that proper hygiene standards are consistently met.

I had a great experience here. Joseph is a phenomenal masseuse! The only thing I wish was enforced was the quiet time in the spa. Women were speaking very loudly here. Everything was extremely clean. Also the woman checking me in and out was extremely helpful and friendly. I will be back!

The place to unwind and leave all of your stress outside. Parking is minimal. The greeters are pleasant. The venue is clean and relaxing. My masseuse was Kai, and he did an excellent job getting all of my kinks out of my back. I will return due to his excellent service and professionalism.

I don’t mind coming here cause the back staff & therapists are amazing as always but just to warn people that the older female manager likes to power trip and likes to question you based off what you look like and she thinks we don’t notice it given the location of this spa. OC female locals love to stare too if they feel a certain way. Would love to see better energy & more welcoming people here!

Great local spa, I had a gift certificate for a massage, I am currently 8 months pregnant so I was able to use the certificate for a pregnancy massage and since o can’t use the amenities they give a complimentary bath. Massage was amazing, the bath was awesome, it’s all set up for you with some fruit so you should do a bath if you ever can even just try to it out BUT the only things that was disappointing is that it is only 20 min long!!! I wish at least 30 min long or 40 for us pregnant woman. If I wasn’t pregnant I would use the amenities a lot longer and all of them to get my moneys worth!! Otherwise great place

Guests can also partake in eco-adventures at the Eco-Adventure Center led by expert naturalists, featuring whale-watching excursions, sea hikes, bodyboarding trips, and an Eco Artist program.
Had the most incredible stay to celebrate our engagement. The recently renovated rooms are really nice and modern but still feel like a Ritz Carlton. The service was amazing and couldn’t walk around for too long without someone approaching us and asking if we needed anything. But I will say the highlight was booking Ian at Atventure for a complimentary photography session. He captured shots that our friends told us belong in a magazine. Definitely recommend working with him as we went in thinking we would barely have 10 photos we wanted to purchase, but left having a hard time cutting our favorites down to 20. All around a great trip. Can’t wait to come back!
Natalie J — Google review
The service has completely gone downhill for the money that they demand. This was closer to a low-tier 4-star hotel experience. They’ve clearly prioritized corporate events over individual stays/retreats. Our room was located right behind a boombox where they were hosting events in the evenings. We could not enjoy our “beach view” staring at the back of people and a boombox blasting into the night. If you text the valet like the ticket says to, the valet ignore it and you still have to wait for your car at the entrance (even if they’re not busy). We requested a simple accommodation for a child, which was ignored and not done when we arrived. A deep tissue massage at the spa is a borderline scam. It’s 300% priced over market and the massage was more like a light body touch rather than a deep tissue massage. We complained about all of this and they simply ignored our complaints like it didn’t happen. We’ve come here for more than a decade as a retreat, however the service has degraded so much that we will not be returning.

You’re not going to be mad about any part of this hotel. However, there are a few bright spots that deserve recognition! Joel, at Raya, is simply one of the greatest servers I think we’ve ever dined with. You are going to want to request him when you eat here. He is exactly what I imagine the Ritz Carlton hotels have built their reputation on. By the end of our lunch (we ate there several times after becuse he was so kind to us), we literally felt like he was one of the best parts of the stay. Way to go. Overall great hotel and super convenient.

Breathtaking Views and Exceptional Service The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel is one of those places that never fails to impress. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism that immediately makes you feel at home. The ocean views are absolutely stunning, and every corner of the property is immaculate. The service here is consistently top-notch — everyone you encounter is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying a drink on the terrace, or taking a stroll along the beach, everything feels effortless and perfectly curated. It’s the ideal mix of laid-back coastal California and refined luxury. My wife and I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit.

We had a wonderful experience at this location, which is perfectly situated on the water. Amazing views, interior design, and conveniently on a trolley stop if you like that sort of thing. Very kid-friendly. Most of our staff experiences were very good, but we did encounter some staff who didn’t seem very customer-service oriented (at the outdoor dining location and near the beach chair trailer), and the property needed more tending at times (e.g., towels left on top of a garbage and an old French fry on the ground for days, etc). For the brand and price, we would have expected more consistent excellence. However, we still had a wonderful time here and felt the location was incredible. Some of the staff at the pool and in the lobby/reception area were incredibly kind and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay for two nights to celebrate our joint anniversaries for us and our family members who also booked their rooms on same nights. Beautiful location, bars, and restaurants. Outdoor bar facing the Pacific Ocean can get busy and full during sunset hours - perhaps by non hotel staying guests. There was a huge wedding going on outdoors under our window/balcony facing the beach on hotel premise for few hours during the day but it did not bother us. September can be a busy wedding month.
Nasu D — Google review
One of the best hotel stays we have had in all our travels. The staff were all excellent and accommodating as one would expect. Rooms were beautiful, views were beautiful, on property dining was very enjoyable. Of course for the Ritz, it’s not for those who are budget conscious.
Eric M — Google review
If you’re looking for a peaceful luxury stay, this is not the place. This hotel is an event venue first and a luxury hotel second. Nearly every night there were loud parties on the lawns that went late into the evening — not only making it impossible to relax, but also completely ruining what should have been a beautiful view. I will never stay here again, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re expecting a true luxury experience.

The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach is a luxurious property with lavish accommodations and its own private beach. Following a $40 million renovation in 2016, the resort now boasts 400 refreshed guest rooms, five new dining options, and a new pool area with exclusive cabanas. As one of only 17 AAA Five-Diamond rated resorts in California, it offers an array of activities such as tennis, fitness center access, and an 18-hole championship golf course with stunning ocean views.
9/6 - 9/7/25 Extraordinary Service & Care From the moment we arrived at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, we were greeted with genuine warmth by the attentive staff. Special thanks to manager Allison who remembered us from our previous visit. She took the time to chat about our plans while sharing helpful local insights. We also want to recognize the exceptional service from Ashley at Part & Parcel who warmly recalled our last stay and Shannon Gray, our tram driver to the Beach Club, who made the ride interesting. Rosa provided discreet, efficient turn-down service and promptly fulfilled a request with care. The chef at the Beach Club deserves praise for crafting an amazing Impossible burger. The property is impeccably maintained and spending time at Monarch Beach was the perfect way to unwind during our vacation. We can’t wait to return!
C T — Google review
The resort itself is beautiful and the location is excellent, with a tram that takes you down to the private beach where staff set up loungers and umbrellas and even provide water and sunscreen. The infinity hot tubs by the pool are another highlight — sitting there with an ocean view and sea breeze was definitely the most memorable part of the stay. My room was spacious with a large bathroom and a balcony fireplace, which made for a very relaxing evening after watching the sunset. That said, the overall experience fell a little short of expectations. At check-in the front desk felt a bit dismissive and didn’t proactively explain what was included in the resort fee; I had to ask. There was no upgrade beyond what had already been emailed beforehand on a slow day, nor any welcome amenity even though I mentioned it was a birthday stay as a diamond member. The room wasn’t anything special/luxury compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. On top of that, valet parking was automatically added to my folio even though I didn’t bring a car, which was frustrating. Overall, it’s a nice property and I enjoyed my time there, but the service and value didn’t quite live up to the Waldorf name. It might a good option if you’re using points, but Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills would be a better choice in my opinion
Tiansheng C — Google review
We chose Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach to celebrate our anniversary — and it was a decision we’ll never regret. From the moment we checked in, the staff showed warm hospitality and took time to explain all the facilities and activities in detail. As a lovely anniversary gesture, they sent a cheesecake mousse to our room — such a thoughtful and heartwarming surprise! Our room was spacious with a beautiful garden view. The bathroom had a large soaking tub and Aesop amenities, which we absolutely loved. It was also a pleasant surprise to find indoor slippers provided — something rarely seen in American hotels. The pool area was wonderful, with a perfectly heated pool and a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. Even on the weekend, it never felt crowded. We also took the hotel cart down to the private beach and, by chance, spotted dolphins swimming close to shore — truly magical! The on-site Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina is also a must-try. Overall, the resort feels peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. My only regret was not arriving earlier to enjoy more of the property. The only downside was that parking is valet-only, and the fee ($70 per night) felt a bit steep. Street parking on Stonehill Drive is an option, but it’s a bit of a walk and spots are hard to find.

My wife and I have stayed at the Waldorf Astoria several times, and each visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The service here is consistently outstanding — every member of the staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay feels special, effortless, and personal. From check-in to check-out, you can tell that attention to detail and genuine hospitality are part of the culture. A special mention goes to Bourbon Steak — without question, one of my top three restaurants in all of Southern California. The food is always perfectly prepared, the atmosphere elegant yet comfortable, and the service team is top-tier. Whether it’s a casual evening or a celebration, it never disappoints. The Waldorf Astoria continues to set the standard for luxury and hospitality. We can’t wait for our next stay.

Super fantastic experience at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch! What brings me to write this review is the service from the front desk. The service and attitude from the Front desk, especially their Front Desk Manager Allison, makes me feel that I am a really valuable and important customer to them. I want to say thank you to her for taking care of us. This is my second time back here this year. Check-in was friendly and also provided me a complimentary upgrade to the fireside terrace room, which was super worth for the night! Although the room is not ready until 5pm, it didn't actually interrupt our plan since we were enjoying our time on the beach. Actually, I didn't contact front desk to ask why our room was not ready at that time. But the front desk called me later around 8pm and apologized for the delay of check-in. She also provided me late check-out for the next day and some food & beverage credit for this stay. And this is not the end, Allison also called me again next day around noon to send her apology again. She wanted to make sure that we were having a good time here and welcomed us to come back again. Our family really enjoyed the stay and had a great time for this weekend. Food is delicious, View is perfect, Service is Excellent. I will definitely come back again!

Currently staying here. The service has been excellent. Staff are friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is equally roomy. However, the in-room amenities like the iron and hair dryer are disappointing. They’re outdated and cheap; the iron left mineral stains on my clothes. As expected for a Waldorf, everything on the property comes with a steep price tag. Unfortunately, you’re pretty much stuck with those prices since there’s nothing within walking distance. The resort itself is beautiful and expansive, and the pools are nice, though I found them a bit small given the size of the property. Overall, while there are definitely positives, I was expecting more, especially at this price point and compared to other places I’ve stayed in the same range.

There’s nothing luxurious about discomfort disguised as prestige. The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach feels like corporate American conference hell with a more-money-than-taste wedding chaser. Repeat 🔁 Sterile and soulless. The bed was so soft I had to request a rollout just to sleep properly. The staff are a bizarre mix of genuinely kind, lovely people and others who seem salty, hostile and allergic to courtesy. The whole place hums with hollow opulence. Each event that orbits the guests is more miserable than the last. There’s no creative calm here, only noise wrapped in marble. I left the property to find peace at a Starbucks, which tells you everything. One star, for the fountain I catch a glimpse of in the rearview mirror as I drive away. Their TV mirroring is nothing but horrendous and if you do manage to connect it kicks you at will to an infomercial that is hosted by Mario from Saved by The Bell. Unbelievable. Four more nights left here. Rarely do I wish my time away, but “can’t wait to leave” has never felt more true. Update. I just want to add how utterly useless, dismissive and nonchalant the three (3) staff were on and around the concierge desk were at 1:45pm today 10.20.25. When I asked for help, they were so busy talking they shooed me away with a “sure it will be fine”. It was not. And, in contrast, how wonderfully helpful Eric Reyes was just now at 9pm when assisting me with a new rollout bed. Eric should be training the concierge desk (+ its congregating staff) and guest services, in the art of hospitality. Be more Eric Reyes.

If you're a regular American, avoid this place. This was the worst stop on our honeymoon. The food (in my case, chicken parmesan and asparagus from on site Aveo restaurant) was atrocious and overpriced. Unexplained upon booking are mandatory valet services. Valet doesn't let you visit your own car. The room we stayed at the night prior, 1/4 the price, had a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, sitting shower, and was also next to the ocean, and had a view of a forest. At the waldorf I looked at the stucco of other properties. I'm sure there's a class of American where none of my complaints apply, but if you're a normal just getting by American, do NOT celebrate here. Go somewhere else.

Paséa Hotel & Spa is a luxurious accommodation option in Huntington Beach, offering stylish rooms and suites, chic dining options, a rooftop bar with stunning views, and a trendy spa. The hotel's location provides convenient access to the beach and pier, allowing guests to soak up the laid-back Southern California atmosphere. The hotel's design reflects its coastal surroundings with bright and airy interiors featuring complimentary flip-flops and beach-inspired decor.
This is the 2nd time I've stayed in this hotel since it opened. It's very modern feel make you feel comfortable. My only issue is the pool area isn't big enough to accommodate the hotel guest size. But your across the street from the beach so they figure you can go there. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is different with the glass window in the bedroom. Thank goodness there's a door to cover it if you want privacy. The view from almost every room is ocean view. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. Naps, games with the kids, watched a wedding, and enjoyed the ocean and beach goers. Surprisingly this place is pet friendly. I will be back for a 3rd time soon.

Absolutely perfect location, next to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our partial ocean front room was stunning, it is definitely worth the money for the view. We enjoyed all the amenities as well, pool, gym and restaurants within the hotel. A few areas that could be improved, there were some housekeeping things not up to standard upon check in, used contacts left in the shower, stain on sheets, floor not fully vacuumed. That said the staff was quick to respond to my concerns. Also the beach cruiser bikes offered while free are very limited guest come first serve, they only had 3 or 4 in actual working order while we were there and even those are in need of replacement. Limited helmets/sizes as well. They also offer free chairs and umbrellas for the beach but when we needed them they were all checked out.

We had the best stay of our lives this weekend! The nicest, most helpful staff made all the difference. Timmy at the front desk especially was the pinnacle of hospitality. Checking in was a breeze. Valet was quick and efficient In calling us a bellhop and the front desk got us all checked in to our room within minutes. Next thing you know you’re in the most beautiful room with an amazing view of the ocean. We spent several hours lounging on a daybed and were met with kind staff who were readily available to all of our needs. There’s ice cold water at all times by the pool and front lobby which was nice because it was hot! We ordered room service and had some delicious food brought right to our room! And 10/10 the Lorea restaurant served a yummy steak was absolutely to die for! All around an amazing stay we will be back!

A very luxurious and spacious hotel to visit. The dining was outstanding, the personnel working there are top notch. The guys parking the cars were funny and very quick and attentive. The room we stayed in was outstanding and room service and cleaning services very quick and thorough. Great view of the beach on the 6th floor!!

🌊✨ Unrivaled Stay at Paséa Hotel & Spa – Huntington Beach! ✨🌊 We just wrapped up an incredible stay at the Paséa Hotel in Huntington Beach, and wow… talk about a perfect ocean getaway! 🌅 From the moment we arrived, the service was unrivaled — warm, welcoming, and attentive. Let’s talk about that view. 😍 Every morning we woke up to the sound of the waves and picture-perfect ocean scenes right outside our window. The Paséa offers: ✅ Beautiful property ✅ Hospitality & Experience ✅ Steps from the beach ✅ Relaxed but elevated vibe We also enjoyed the onsite dining — delicious food, lively atmosphere, and exceptional service. 🍽️✨ Whether it was a casual bite or a crafted cocktail, everything hit the mark. We had a wonderful time soaking in the sunshine, enjoying the amenities, and taking in every bit of Huntington Beach energy. Paséa, thank you for exceeding expectations and giving us a stay to remember. We can’t wait to return! 💙

Everyone talks about the Paséa Hotel, the pool, the spa, the restaurant, and the rooftop bar, and it definitely lives up to the hype. I had brunch there over the summer and enjoyed some sunshine at the Treehouse rooftop. This time we got tickets to the Enchanted Halloween party. The tickets were not cheap, but the party was definitely worth it. We arrived early when it was not too busy, which was perfect, and later on the crowd hit the sweet spot, just the right number of people to mingle with strangers in awesome Halloween costumes. If you get there early you can even get a table, though we barely used ours since we danced most of the night. They had a photographer and also hosted a costume contest. Towards the end I got hungry and ordered a veggie dish to share with two friends, which was simple but tasty. Overall it was a really fun night, and we might come back in a year or two for Halloween again.

***Update*** Despite the response below, nobody ever reached out to me...shocking... Also, they listened to the call recording and admitted that we were correct. No apology, no "we were wrong," no gesture, nothing TLDR: horrific service. For a “luxurious beachfront oasis . . . With opulent accommodations,” the management team is going out of the way to muck it up. Our group had two rooms (each for two nights). One week out, one of the rooms requested an extra night to stay another day to see his mother in a nursing home for one more day; he specifically requested to ONLY have the extra night added for one of the two rooms. Upon arrival, the front desk insisted that both of the rooms had to pay for the extra night. We asked for the manager. Same story, would not yield at all, even going as far as to say that we would have to demonstrate through a recording of a call that the request was clear enough. Wild stuff for a luxury hotel to not automatically say, “oh our bad, we’ll fix that no problem.” Instead, they got greedy for an extra night, and they got this “splendid” review. (Maybe it was a cost effective move in the short term, but I doubt the owner would agree) EVEN BETTER - the trash can was full when we got to the newly “cleaned” room hahahaha! I feel like the hotel critic in Oceans 13 who Brad Pitt was intentionally trying to mess with. Hopefully, no bed bugs for me like that poor guy haha

The manager and his assistant could not be more unhelpful and actually lying to a request. This not the first time . I wish that people are aware how much so when asked for simple requests they first said was insurance issue then they said the item requested a simple two wheel trolly that they did not have beside a the fact I had seen them . First thing bout lying is use one and second two members of staff shud not assist each other to do so when obviously lie

Nestled along the shore of Laguna Beach, Surf & Sand Resort offers a luxurious beachfront escape with posh rooms and suites boasting private furnished balconies and stunning ocean views. The resort features an ocean-view pool with drink service, a lavish spa offering pampering treatments, and the acclaimed Splashes restaurant serving fresh California-inspired cuisine overlooking the Pacific.
My husband and I had drinks and then dinner at the bar and restaurant. What a fabulous experience. The staff was exceptional, Mathias greeted us and remembered our anniversary. Jasmin and Kody were also excellent always serving us with a genuine greeting. The food was delicious and the view breathtaking. We loved every moment. Oh, Katie too was great, she led us the bar and then greeted us by name when we came back upstairs for dinner. Highly recommend.

Big shout out to the entire staff here at Surf and Sand. Ken Watson Ali @ concierge Michael @ valet Devon @ bell Hannah @ front desk Everyone here was outstanding, including the gentleman in housekeeping who showed up to our room with coffee AND water midway through the morning rush. Services were excellent, food was fresh and delicious. The pool and hot tub areas kept perfectly clean and water at the perfect temperatures. A safe place with a beautiful and friendly Doberman as part of their security team. My partner and I will also be writing a more formal review on TripAdvisor and submitting the guest survey. Thanks for reminding us what traveling and vacationing should feel like!!! It was tough to leave.

This resort is truly one of the most beautiful I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine kindness. Every request throughout our stay was handled promptly, and they went above and beyond by surprising my sister with a thoughtful birthday gift. Our room, located on the second floor, offered breathtaking ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves. The entire experience was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this resort, it is absolutely worth it.

Just celebrated my 40th birthday here, my first time being back since the renovation. Just had the most magical weekend, the rooms are top notch, and the service was beyond expectations. They went out of their way to make sure I felt celebrated for my birthday. The view from the rooms is as good as it gets. Can’t wait to be back!

This was our first time staying at Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach. From the time that we arrived, everything was so perfect, I proposed to my girlfriend at this hotel, and for sure we will be back. The staff were super friendly, thoughtful and helpful. I couldn’t thank you guys enough especially Chris and Hannah. I highly recommend this hotel. You have your own private beach, we had the balcony door open to listen to the waves at night. It was so beautiful.

The Surf and Sand: Stunning Location, Disappointing Service The Surf and Sand's oceanfront location is genuinely spectacular—the kind of view that justifies five-star pricing. Unfortunately, the service quality falls far short of the property's premium positioning. Dining Issues: Our concierge recommended Splashes despite acknowledging recent reconstruction concerns, claiming they'd received no complaints. The reality was a severely limited menu with overpriced, overly rich dishes that didn't justify the cost. When we expressed concerns, no alternative dining options were suggested. Cancelled Services: Multiple advertised amenities failed to materialize. Morning yoga and other scheduled activities were cancelled without advance notice. Most frustratingly, a spa facial appointment booked a month in advance was cancelled when the aesthetician simply didn't show up. Billing Problems: Despite prepaying for our room, the hotel placed a $1,300 hold on our card for "incidentals"—an unusually high amount for a one-night stay. Additionally, the spa charged $148 for the cancelled facial service, and spa staff couldn't locate any record of the charge when we inquired. Bottom Line: While the oceanfront setting is undeniably beautiful, the property's operational issues—from unreliable service to questionable billing practices—don't support its five-star reputation. The location alone isn't enough to justify the premium pricing when basic hospitality standards aren't met.

This is a review for the hotel restaurant Splashes. My husband and I returned here after 36 years to celebrate my 60th. This is where we celebrated our honeymoon in 1989, so it was significant. We were completely happy with our excellent service with Alex, who was kind, courteous, and attentive, superlative service! Our meal was also delicious and the overall setting and “vibe” were just perfect. Thank you Splashes and Alex for making our special dinner so memorable!

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Hannah greeted us so warmly when she checked us in. Sydney went out of her way to get me ice. Kevin helped fix an issue with our bill. All of the room service staff were kind and professional. The room was clean and so comfortable with an incredible view. Such a positive experience. Looking forward to our next visit!

Lido House, Autograph Collection is a boutique hotel with a nautical theme and Cape Cod aesthetic, perfectly situated near Lido Marina Village. It offers 130 stylish guest rooms and five three-storey cottages curated by local interior designers. The hotel features The Mayors Table restaurant and Topside, Newport Beach's only rooftop bar.
My husband and I had a fantastic time at Lido House! It’s a beautiful property with outstanding service and an unbeatable location! We loved being able to walk to Lido Village for shopping and dining. The beach is close and we loved riding bikes (provided by the hotel). Also, we want to give a special shout-out to Andrew and Abigail at the front desk. They are both terrific and really went above and beyond to help make our visit even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit in the near future.

My husband and I recently traveled to California to visit Newport Beach. After finding Lido House online, I was immediately drawn to its charm, and it did not disappoint! The hotel is truly lovely, from atmosphere to the bar, delicious food, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had when traveling in a long time. Our trip was really even more special thanks to the overall vibe and service at Lido House. I’m so glad we chose to stay here! My only small critique is that we stayed over a weekend, and the rooftop club was loud at night. It was hard to fall asleep with the music thumping until midnight. Still, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return [just maybe on a quieter weeknight next time!].

We had a fantastic stay at Lido House! Our room was beautiful and absolutely spotless. All of the staff were exceptionally courteous and had great recommendations on how to experience the local area. The Valet staff (special shoutout to Rodelle & Alex) were awesome. They provided us with complimentary beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella so we could enjoy an afternoon on the beach, they drove us and picked us up! Super easy, you just call them when you're ready to be picked up and they arrived within minutes! We cannot wait to stay with Lido House again! Thank you for everything!

Exceptional Service & Impeccable Attention to Detail at Lido House We’ve been coming to Lido House year after year, and the reason we keep coming back is simple—the service is consistently outstanding. From the moment we arrive, we’re greeted like old friends, and every visit feels just as special as the first. The customer service here is truly next-level. Every staff member—from the front desk to housekeeping—goes out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. The attention to detail is remarkable: perfectly prepared rooms, personalized touches, and thoughtful follow-ups to ensure every part of our stay is perfect. The valet and shuttle service are exceptional. The valet team is always prompt, friendly, and professional, making arrivals and departures effortless. The shuttle service is equally impressive—on time, comfortable, and a great way to get around without a worry. Whether it’s anticipating our needs before we even ask, offering spot-on local recommendations, or simply making us feel like part of the Lido House family, the staff here consistently delivers a luxury experience with genuine warmth. It’s no wonder this place keeps us coming back every year.

I stopped at the mayors table to grab a bite and was greeted by Scott the bartender. Now mind you, it was early on a Monday and slow but that didn’t seem to register with this man. He welcomed me into his bar with great enthusiasm. He talked with an upbeat air about him and every move he made seemed to be with a purpose. You wouldn’t know it was slow by the way he moved and talked and worked. In all honesty I was pretty tired from the night before but he seemed to recharge my batteries for the day with his exuberance. The conversation was stimulating without effort. He had the right touch to engage and back off when it was right. I never leave reviews but I just had to because Scott is a throw back to days when service meant something more than a person merely waiting for a tip. He cared and I felt that care. Thanks again. I’ll definitely visit Scott when I come back through Newport Beach.

It's even more than advertised. Superb staff, excellent food, rooms are very clean & nicely appointed, location great and surprisingly quiet. A true escape. Expect to pay $$$+ 30 for a flute of sparkling wine, 40 for 2 beers poolside, don't ask where the stairs are if you want to use them (4 different staff actually told me there are none). They exist. Of course. Every meal was fantastic. Chef Eric came by our table to share a recipe when we asked to 'tell the chef this is fantastic."

It was such a joy to stay at Lido House. My wife and I spent our first wedding anniversary here, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make it a truly special celebration. We’d especially like to recognize Baylee, Jonathan, Angel, Madeline, and Alex who played a big part in making our stay exceptional. From valet to the front desk to the spa, every interaction reflected the premier level of hospitality that Lido House is clearly known for. Whether you're visiting as a couple or with family, I highly recommend Lido House. The resort caters to all kinds of travelers and does so with genuine warmth and professionalism. The beauty of the location is remarkable, and the facilities are very well maintained, allowing you to fully enjoy the luxury of a Newport Beach resort. Overall, I leave a great review for the incredible staff, the beautiful setting, and the top notch hospitality. We can't wait to return!

I’ve been here… 3 times now? Every time I leave, I feel SO rejuvenated, but today was by far my best experience. It’s hard for me to relax. I keep a lot of stress and tension in my body. Eddie: Miracle worker. I swear, I’ve never been so relaxed in my life. I left with years-old knots being finally worked out, and the neck pain I came in with was gone. Not only was he phenomenal at his job, he’s just a joy as a human being. After Eddie, I got to meet Cristina for my facial and she was also wonderful! My face feels so deeply clean, fresh, and so much healthier! I left knowing so much more about how to take care of my face, and felt more confident than when I came in. Who can ask for anything more? Eddie and Cristina deserve all the good things in life. Thank you both!

The BEST day spa I’ve ever been to! If you’re visiting California from Texas and looking for affordable health and wellness services without compromising on quality, this is the place to be. It’s incredibly challenging to find reputable massage and wellness centers that offer a wide range of services at reasonable prices and actually deliver good results. This place ticks all the boxes. My mom and I had a wonderful experience at Supreme Beauty Life Spa in Irvine. I got the hydro facial and my mom tried the age-defying treatment. The products felt great, and they included a relaxing neck, shoulder, and arm massage that made the whole experience even better. My skin looks so glowy and refreshed after. Next time, we’ll definitely come earlier to enjoy the sauna and steam room too. Highly recommend!

Currently working on recovering from some muscle injuries, and Wen Wen is amazing at deep tissue massage! She has so much strength in her massage movements - I'm really impressed by her professionalism and knowledge. Wen Wen was great with her recommendations and I learned more about the treatments that are available. Looking forward to rebooking and taking the time to try out the sauna and steam room prior to treatments (I didn't get there early enough for my first visit). The locker room and changing area is neat and convenient, and there are a plethora of products so you don't have to bring anything if you want to shower and get ready after treatments. You can tell that the spa owner put a lot of time and money into the facilities and available products. Definitely one of the most comfortable massage beds and treatments I've ever experienced (compared to other high end spas like Montage, Bacara/Ritz Carlton, etc...) I was able to relax, hydrate, and enjoy some tasty crackers after my treatments. If you're looking for a spa that has nice facilities, give Supreme Beauty Life a try! A note that the building exterior (facade signage) currently says "Grand Orient Retreat Spa" instead of "Supreme Beauty Life." Part of a large plaza, so I didn't have any trouble parking. Will be back again soon as part of my recovery plan!

The Sycamore Spa by Hudson offers an unparalleled massage experience that is truly exceptional. Every time you visit this spa, you can expect to receive top-notch service and be greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff, particularly Mary Beth. The waiting area is inviting and luxurious, complete with a glass of Champagne to enhance your relaxation. Camille, an outstanding therapist, takes the time to understand your expectations and areas of focus for the massage session.
The best of the best! I especially love their hydraderm facial and the deep dive massage with hot stones. I've had a lot of facials and massages, and this place is my favorite. Also, it's a beautiful space! I always stay afterward to relax on their outdoor patio and use the infrared sauna.

The Ranch is such a lovely hidden getaway close to home. The facilities are beautiful and relaxing without feeling pretentious. The entertainment on the patio is always wonderful. The spa is lovely as a hotel spa but for a Day Guest, it could be a bit small. Unfortunately, my treatment was on a weekend and Spa guests are not allowed to use the pool so amenities were limited to having my massage. The staff were kind and lovely and provided myself and friends with complementary champagne even though my friends were not staying for Massages! I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage provided by Valentina. She is truly an expert in her craft and I had one of the most amazing massages I have ever received. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated at the same time. I will definitely be back for services! Thank you!

The Ranch is such a jewel. We love coming to this resort. It's a perfect getaway for my wife and I who live in Laguna Niguel. I was lucky to receive 2 massages from JD on our visit. I told him that he made me feel "amphibious". One of the best massage therapists I've ever met.

Very disappointed. Small room and limited facility. Just ONE shower, two sinks in the lady side, no lounge area that allows chilling and relaxing. Massage quality is not really impressive. The whole process and touch is very rushed and feeling rough. The lady kept focusing on one side of the body for no reason so I left with one side hurt from the deep tissue massage. the last hit was that the front desk automatically apply 22% of tips to the service … it feels very presumptuous and pressure sale. You might as well increase the retail price for the service if that tip is by default …. Not gonna come back

The worst place to get a massage by far! I booked my wife the calming canyon massage here a couple of days ago, it was suppose to be a 60 minute massage, they only gave her 45 minutes. We arrived to the place 5 minutes after our appointment however I did call the place 30 minutes prior to our appointment and let them know I will be 5 minutes late they said it was fine. Not only it was a 45 minute message but the whole massage was rushed and it seemed like the masseuse wanted to get it over with, on top of all that they put some kind of icy hot cream which was burning her feet the rest of the day. In the end I was charged the full price of $165 for 45 minutes of massage plus a $36 service fee, a total of $201 for a rushed dissatisfying massage.
Abdul A — Google review
I have been here prior to Covid and had a great experience. I was here yesterday and was so disappointed with my massage. First of all my therapist was late and made sure to note that I would still get my 90 minute massage….. that’s obvious you being late shouldn’t cut into my paid for service. Second I received my massage in an outdoor camping tent. I understand this was done 100% due to covid, but this should be disclosed upfront to the client. Nowhere on the site are there photos of a service tent. It was incredibly bright out there with the sun which made it hard to relax, there were loud patrons outside the thin tent so attempting to relax while people are loudly laughing and talking is well…. not relaxing. The tent space was tight for the therapist so her trying to get around was once again very noisy and not relaxing. The massage itself was maybe a 2 out of 10 maybe. It was overall a bad massage and a very bad experience. I was given a $45 discount for my displeasure. I would have much rather been informed of this upfront to avoid coming to waste my time all together. Communication is a must, and there was no communication, plus what was advertised was a beautiful spa with treatment rooms and not a tent. Very unfortunate. I hate that this happened because The Ranch is one of my favorite little spots, I’ll just have to remove this spa from my list.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mission at San Juan Capistrano The Mission at San Juan Capistrano is hands-down one of the most romantic venues in California. Its history and architecture bring so much character to every wedding. The aged stone walls, grand arches, and blooming gardens are a photographer’s dream. There’s a sense of timeless beauty here that makes every couple’s gallery feel both historic and personal. It’s the kind of place where love stories become art. ✨ If you’re drawn to the beauty of San Juan Capistrano, I’d be honored to capture your wedding in such an extraordinary setting.

This is a good place to visit if you are interested in California mission history. The original building was destroyed by an earthquake in 1812, and the church ruins and a variety of other original elements remain. Renovations in the 1970s brought reproductions of the many buildings, rooms, and a small chapel. There are beautiful gardens, and a museum gift shop. The swallows don't visit like they used to due to so much activity in the area. It cost $15 to enter, and we were there for about an hour

Alright California!! This Place is Cali Gold. The Historic Value of this place is Second to None. There is so Much History in its relationship to the Development of California. The grounds are very very well kept and the Guided tour is a must to get the most out of this Mission. Visit the Chapel on sight and the Ruins of the Original Chapel. Wow it's incredible. Great for Photos, a Date Day, and exploring for the whole family. Don't miss it. It's incredible and a must see for everyone!

We had the opportunity to photograph S & K's first look at Mission San Juan Capistrano, and it was truly a dream setting for capturing timeless portraits. From the soft stone textures to the iconic arches and bell wall, every corner of the Mission offered a stunning visual backdrop. The light was beautiful throughout the day, filtered, warm, and natural, ideal for both candid and editorial shots. There’s a peaceful, historic charm to the space that elevated the emotional energy of the first look, creating a moment that felt private, sacred, and cinematic. We would highly recommend the Mission to couples looking for a location that combines California history, natural beauty, and elegant architecture. It’s a gem for storytelling. — Anastasia

What a beautiful, well maintained mission! Although there is now a fee to enter, it’s well worth the price. You can spend an hour or a day just walking the gardens and visiting the chapel. At the exit, there is a church store fulled with books, cards, collectibles, and other artifacts. It’s a fun outing! We are glad we took the time to visit!

This is such a beautiful mission. My kids had a fun time walking/running around and exploring. We were on vacation for my son’s Birthday and they gave us a discounted price because of that ❤️ Some of the areas were not easily accessible with our stroller - so my husband and I had to lift the stroller and carry it up the stairs to get around to the area on the path (the walkway was blocked due to set up for an event). Thankfully we could do that. We probably spent about 2 hours here. I do want to revisit with my kids and see the things we didn’t spend much time looking at. There is plenty of parking around - outside you just have to drive around to find it.

This is a beautiful and well taken care of Mission. Lots of stories told here about the indigenous people and how this Mission was successful and created things for trade. This place takes you back in time and explains the story of the swallow. I live in the area now and bring friends here to enjoy the beauty!

✨ Truly the Jewel of the Missions! Every stone here seems to whisper a story from the past. The grounds are beautifully preserved, with gardens so lush and perfectly manicured – an absolute must-visit if you’re in San Juan Capistrano. 🌿⛪️

VEA Newport Beach, A Marriott Resort & Spa offers a unique dining experience at the View Restaurant & Lounge, featuring a diverse menu curated by Executive Chef Andrew Arndt. Guests can enjoy brunch with delectable options such as fried chicken & waffles, egg white frittata, and buttermilk French toast. The restaurant also boasts an array of drink specials including the Good Morning Newport cocktail.
I'm giving this 4.5 stars. Pros: We got upgraded to a high floor room with view of golf course and bay. Staff were very hospitable and were on it if we had a request. We asked for plates and silverware and got it quickly. We asked for more towels and got it quickly. The rooms were modern, beds were comfortable, liked the robes, shower was good but knobs were a little confusing. They can take you anywhere within 3 miles of hotel. Cons: I really wish they had a tub. I heard only the suites had tubs. Please don't phase out tubs. Our sliding glass door lock didn't work but engineering came and fixed it quickly. Only one valet was not good, the rest were great.

20250924: VEA is very convenient when working with PL since it's a short walk away. My room was quiet, clean and in working order (shower, outlets, lights, which I make a point to note in reviews). The view was also nice, with a window that allowed for fresh air. The front desk agents were friendly, and helpful, and not pretentious. Also, the restaurant served a respectable omelet. The shower had a window to the bedroom, which could be for natural light or something couples might find more playful.

Loved the rooms and pool area. Outdoor bar was large and relaxing on a Monday. Here for 5 nights and the service was consistently friendly and accommodating. The location is near the mall which has surprisingly decent restaurants. We were here for an event so hard to speak for the broader area. But would stay here again. Stayed in the Panorama suite...plenty of room. Also spent a night in a balcony suite which was great as well (nice spots to sit outside).

Really nice resort except we got a room with a view of a trash can and a little bit of the golf. They have free shuttle to the beach and other places up to 3 miles radius. Also the food was good too. The spa was also great.

Exceptional Stay at VEA Newport Beach! From the moment we arrived, the experience at VEA was nothing short of amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful—going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool area, and impeccably maintained grounds. The decor is both elegant and inviting, creating a perfect coastal luxury vibe. We especially enjoyed the delicious cocktails and the fantastic menu options for poolside dining—every bite and sip was spot-on. VEA is the perfect blend of relaxation, service, and style. I’ve had sciatica pain for months, making it hard to sit or sleep. Booked a deep tissue massage at StressBusters, and wow—it was intense but exactly what I needed. The therapist found every tight spot and worked through the knots. Felt lighter and way less stiff afterward. Definitely going back!

I love having weekly massages from Mikki! Throughout the past 17 years, she has helped me through times of great stress and through times of serious medical problems. Overtime I’ve learned about the continuing education classes she has taken and taught. I have benefitted from her expertise in the use of aroma-therapy, hot stone massage and cupping - shortening my recovery and adding to the joy of my days. Mikki is a compassionate professional who, through the years, has been a faithful presence in maintaining my overall wellness. I wouldn’t miss one of her massages for the world!

If you’re pregnant, you need to go to stressbusters. I came down from Canada as I had them bookmarked for years and thank god I did. I have never felt so relaxed in my life. Being pregnant has caused a lot of new pains and discomfort that I’ve never dealt with but for 55 minutes those all went away!

Highly recommend Katlyn for your massages! 35 years of computer work did a lot of damage to my body. Katlyn is extremely knowledgeable and uses pressure point type massages. I advise 85 minute massages. You have to invest in your health in order to heal your body! Katlyn is awesome!

Mikki was a great informant of all things pregnancy massage. She was educating me on proper sleep and laying positions while recommending what I should do before birth and after birth as far as massages. I felt comfortable, relaxed and there was great customer service getting my appointment scheduled! I’ll be back!

Absolutely amazing in every aspect! I originally started coming for the prenatal massage with Mikki & have been coming every since. For all of my pregnant mamas and postpartum (or anytime), I highly recommend giving them a visit. Truly don’t know how I could have made it without them, especially in the 3rd trimester. Mikki does an amazing job at making sure you are comfortable and is extremely knowledgeable, and supportive. She is truly a professional and has a caring, healing spirit. The spa is very clean and has such a calming atmosphere. Also Micheal is amazing at scheduling is very helpful with coordinating and communicating. Thank you for all that you do! -Rebecca B.

Absolutely incredible! I've been having a less than fun pregnancy and really struggled with nerve pain - Hoag referred me here and I only wish I had found it sooner! Every masseuse from Katlyn to Mikki to Dayna has been lovely and so good at what they do, but I want to give a special shout out to Mikki, who truly has the most nurturing, caring, and healing touch. She's so wonderful and gifted and I will absolutely be coming back for postpartum and beyond. Their customer service is also lovely; my first massage I booked had to be rescheduled do to illness, and Michael went above and beyond to work with my challenging schedule and get me in within just a few days. They are very responsive and accommodating; thank you for being the best and most nurturing part of my pregnancy journey!

Clients praise the color ideas and hair washing techniques at Lux Aveda, as well as the attentive and friendly staff members like Kasandra.
Audree gave me such a great experience. I wasn’t sure what I could do with having so much black dye in my hair but she transformed my face by giving me a much more flattering haircut, brown highlights, and a money piece. She by far has the best customer service abilities that I have ever experienced. Not only is she professional, kind, super thoughtful, she is genuinely an amazing human being all around! So easy to adore! Happy to say she has a long lasting customer!

As soon as I walked in the salon I felt really comfortable and it smelled amazing! Madison welcomed me to my chair and it was easy to talk to her about my concerns and it felt like she really heard me. I’m in a weird “hair” stage, going gray FAST and trying to embrace it. I was so impressed with the whole experience and the results of my highlights and haircut! I am thrilled to be introduced to all the fantastic hair care products and am looking forward to my new hair journey with Madison🌸

So grateful for my overall experience with Lux Salon over the years, especially for Chanelle, who cut my hair yesterday. She is so talented, patient, and really listened to me making sure we were on the same page about my haircut goals. She took her time and I could tell she was a perfectionist which I loved. Obviously, I love my haircut! I found a stylist I will return to.

I’ve been seeing Kaylin at Lux for color and cut almost three years now. She is reliable, checks in with me about my hair condition/concerns every visit, listens to my preferences, and she is skilled in the services I’ve requested, including a sculpted asymmetrical bob shaved at the neck. Ariel, Emma, and other front attendants are always welcoming and professional, offering Aveda Comforting Tea or water when clients arrive. The salon provides a single occupancy public restroom and is generally clean and bright. There are price increases annually and sometimes in between, and services are expensive in my opinion, but pricing varies by stylist and what you want done. If you’re looking for a new stylist and salon, it may be worth a call to book a consultation at Lux.

I had such a great experience at LUX Salon! I hadn’t been to a salon in literal years, so I was a little nervous walking in, but my stylist Madison made me feel comfortable right away. She really took her time during the consultation, listened to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure we were on the same page before getting started. I felt respected and genuinely cared for throughout the whole appointment. Madison gave me a haircut and a hair repair treatment, and I loved how my hair came out! My hair felt healthier, looked great, and I left the salon feeling so much better about myself. Highly recommend both LUX and Madison—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Bar
Nestled within the charming Inn at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, Mission Bar is a laid-back haven for craft beer enthusiasts and wine lovers alike. With an inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation, patrons can enjoy a variety of taps while engaging in friendly games of pool or selecting tunes from the jukebox. This spot not only serves up refreshing drinks but also embraces creativity with its unique vegan Michelada mix, ensuring everyone can indulge in this spicy Mexican favorite.
I can only say it again and again, this bar is the place in Santa Ana. We come here once a year for a convention and usually spend some nights at Mission Bar. The beer selection is unmatched. The bartender is a sweetheart who always makes sure you‘re happy and is always down for a chat. Also pool and good music. Nice people all around, even if you come here as a foreigner, everyone‘s welcoming. Will definitely be back!
Mika A — Google review
Walked here and it wasn't clear that this was the place. Signage could be bigger and better. Beer selection was very good. They had all types of beer. Neighborhood is not a place i would go at night. Bar staff was very nice and friendly.
C. D — Google review
I had always wanted to visit this place because it seemed really cool. Yesterday, Sunday 1/19, I finally got the chance to go with my boyfriend around 2 PM. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great due to the chubby bartender that was there at that time. When my boyfriend asked if they had any shots, the bartender responded rudely, saying they didn’t and sarcastically offering a shot of wine instead. He also seemed to ignore us most of the time and took a long time to check back to see if we wanted another beer. It’s disappointing because I’d been looking forward to trying this bar, but our visit was ruined by poor service.
Yuliana G — Google review
Great Place, but the Vibe Has Changed Oh my God, I used to love this place, and honestly, I still feel a connection to it, but it's definitely changed over the years. When I first came here, the vibe was different, and it had this underground Santa Ana subculture that I really enjoyed. The bar, which was run by Vanessa, felt like a underground haven--slightly rundown with the shoddiest restrooms, but it had that authentic, gritty charm. The pool tables were usually in decent shape, and the bar always had cool, unique brews, including microbrews. The place felt cozy despite being so small, and when it got packed, you were basically sardined into the whole space. They had an adjacent outdoor section that was rarely utilized, but you could tell it had potential. I've lived here for a long time, and I've always appreciated the diversity in Santa Ana. But this bar used to be about that punkish unique underground micro brew vibe culture(my opinion)--it was never overly focused on any one particular ethnicity. It felt like the space catered to a mix of people, but recently, I've noticed it's shifted. The atmosphere has leaned more toward a hyper-Mexican, Banda-style vibe. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about that, but it's definitely a change. In talking to locals, there's been a sense that just because you're from a certain country doesn't mean you want everything around you to be about that. As a Hispanic American, I get that--we don't always want the place we hang out to feel like it's only representing our cultural background. I'm not sure when this shift happened, but it's possible the pandemic played a role in it. Before that, the bar had more of a microbrew, underground beer culture, and now it feels like it's become part of the Santa Ana "Banda" norm. Whether it was the owner's vision or just the pressures of what sells, it's hard to say. But the place has definitely moved away from the punkish / alternative Santa Ana night scene and embraced something new. Now, if you're into Banda music, tacos, and a lot of Mexican-American influence, you'll love it. Again, no hate on that--just pointing out that it's not the underground, microbrew culture that originally drew people in. It's now a whole different vibe.
Dilla D — Google review
Great beer selection! They also had a great taco cart outside. Definitely check it out!
Joey M — Google review
Best bar in Santa Ana, been here three nights in a row. If you‘re into beer, this is your spot in SA. They have a selection of like 15+ draft beers, staff is always friendly and down to have a drink and chat. Also pool and karaoke! The bouncers are super chill and hung out with us all the time. Definitely my go to spot when I‘m in the area.
Mika W — Google review
Standard hole-in-the-wall bar layout with the bar down one side and two pool tables in the back. This is a local favorite! I have had some great times in this place. The beer choices are excellent, and prices are very reasonable. It is easy and friendly getting into a game of pool. It can get overcrowded at prime time on Fridays and Saturdays. A good taco vendor works the sidewalk just outside their door on regularly busy nights. There are plenty of food choices within easy walking distance.

The bartenders are always awesome here! Such an amazing environment, never seen any fights break out while I was here. I now live in the high desert and will drive down here to enjoy a night out with friends

Pendry Newport Beach is a top-notch hotel with a fantastic swimming pool that offers a refreshing escape. The hotel's location near the hot spring Koike makes it an ideal spot for relaxation. While some may find it pricey, the quality of service and amenities justifies the cost. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing warm and sincere service. Guests can enjoy delicious food at the on-site restaurant, although portions are quite generous.
Lav and the whole team at Pendry executed a fabulous brunch for local Southern California wedding vendors last week. From a guest standpoint, the service and attention to detail is outstanding. The entire team that works sales, events, food&bev is attentive, friendly, and generous. A behind-the-scenes tour of the property showed us multiple event spaces that would be perfect for weddings and corporate events. Everything we ate was delicious, and I can't wait for my next visit back to the Pendry. Would highly recommend this stunning property if you are wanting to get married in Newport Beach!

We are locals but had a problem with our water supply in our home so we booked a room to stay at Pendry Newport . It’s was exactly what we needed to comfort us after a 24 hour flight . Everyone was friendly, professional and respectful. They helped secure our room although our booking didn’t come through so LUZ P. Did it manually to make things faster . The hotel itself is a 5 star gift to Newport Beach , from the decor to service its all more than perfect. The room was very nice and we had a nice ocean view . Thank you for coming to our neighborhood

Pendry Newport Beach is incredible. The bell service and front desk is outstanding — from the moment you arrive, they make everything seamless and welcoming. The staff is wonderful with kids, which makes the whole stay so enjoyable for families. The location is excellent, close to great shopping, dining, and the beach, and the food at the hotel itself is great. One small note: if you’re not into nightlife, the lower floors can be a bit noisy on weekend nights since there’s a lively scene. If you prefer quiet, I’d recommend requesting a higher floor.

The Hotel Pendry is nothing short of amazing! It may not be on the beach, but this is a true luxury hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. I hadn't been here in years, and I was blown away by the stunning facelift--it looks better than ever. Every detail is perfect, and you can tell the staff takes pride in their jobs. The value for the rooms is pretty reasonable considering the high-end experience, and the location is unbeatable--just a short walk to Fashion Island Mall. One experience that really stood out was at the valet. I parked for about 5 minutes, and the attendant was so understanding that he handed my keys back and said I didn't need to pay for such a short stay, even though it's normally $15 for an hour. It's little gestures like that which make this place exceptional. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in California to make up for lost time! Five stars all the way!

My husband and I just stayed at Pendry Newport Beach for the first time. We were celebrating our anniversary and I have to say they went above and beyond to make it special. We will definitely be staying at Pendry Newport Beach again, as well as other cities that they service.

Karchell was fantastic and so great at check in and we had the pleasure of checking out with her too. She was attentive and so sweet. Beatrice was great too--she was so fun to talk with while she was making my iced oat milk latte! Henry and Christopher at the pool bar were also awesome--they were great to chat with, they recommended good eats, personally I loved the mole chicken tacos, and they were overall good energy. While in the pool Jack and Allison were so great-attentive, kind, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Great experience for sure--the bartenders were all fantastic too. The Pendry Bar was a total scene and it was enjoyable to observe all the different people coming in there. The rooms were fantastic--we were in a King Suite facing the ocean which was lovely. I appreciated all of the extra touches in the room and the cake the team left inside for my partner's birthday! I feel like SET should stay open later than 10:30 on a weekend evening which is my only recommendation.

Had another wonderful stay at The Pendry Newport Beach. The room was very nice and comfortable. Worst service ever, they took 2.5 hrs doing my pedicure and an acrylic French tip having two people working on it at the same time they still took so long, got there at 10 am left at 12:30 and had to comeback because of how bad they messed up. I paid $116 for the job to be done horribly. When I left my toe nails were messed up, and I have two different nails designs on my fingers because one lady did one hand but decided to quit because I guess she can’t paint accurately because she kept messing it up and then another nail tech had to do my left hand. No discount, nothing at all. Horrible service, like if you can’t do acrylic nails then say so, have someone else do it!!! Stop complaining about it, I don’t want gel x like why are nail techs so persistent with doing something the client obviously doesn’t want. Customer service is 0/10

My knees have been swollen for months due to bursitis. The doctors initially wanted to drain the fluid but the appointment was taking forever so I decided to visit Dr. Diana for an adjustment. She recommended High Energy Inductive Therapy instead. Within a week after the first session, the inflammation decreased by 90%. I was extremely tired that day, so I made sure to drink plenty of water and rest. After the second session, the swelling was completely gone. I also tried the handheld laser on my neck. I’ve now completed five sessions, including treatments on my hands, neck, and ankle. This therapy has become my new favorite modalities. I haven’t found anything else like it. She also offers Massage, Chiropractic work, supplements, she’s all around knowledgeable.

First time here. I've had 100's of massages in past 40 years, at spas & in my home. The guy at the front is VERY unprofessional. Shows up in bib overalls, rude & not friendly. I found the spa using a SpaFinder gift card which spa said when I phoned, is the same as debit card. I booked online, received a "1st time client" $10 off (see pic) AFTER my massage he says, "can't stack those"= can't use both. My reply, "Doesn't say that on coupon or your website." Still no. Massage by Mimi was good, not great. She is very sweet. ALSO... beware, they charge a fee to use credit card.

Let's talk about POOP!!! In October 2024, I was backed up with waste. My x-ray showed that I had a significant amount of stool in my colon. I felt toxic, sick and exhausted. I went to my family doctor that placed me on MiraLAX, Colace and Milk a Magnesia which made my issues worse. In addition, the doctor wanted me to use an enema. I said, NO WAY this needs to stop now as I knew if I did not get help asap, I would end up in the hospital. I immediately thought of Paula Schlue (Owner of this fabulous establishment & THE BEST COLON HYDRO THERIPIST IN THE WORLD!!!). Paula SAVED MY LIFE!!! If you are severely backed up with waste, CALL PAULA NOW!!! Love you, Paula and THANK YOU for everything!!! You are AMAZING :)

Booked a 2 hour full body massage for $160. 10 minutes of head scratches with 0 time of feet massage… The masseuse tried to start off with elbows into me, no time for warming up the muscles. Had to ask her to be more gentle. Ads in the music during the massage. After the massage, no time to get dressed comfortably. She said “okay you can get dressed, I’ll be waiting outside the door”. The bed and room was comfortable though. And staff that greeted me when I entered was very kind as well. They offered water or tea. For the price I’d definitely go somewhere else next time.

Wonderful staff and great service. I get a spray tan there with Sheila and she is amazing. I always come out looking like a tanned goddess. The massages there are very good also and great prices! Love this place ❤️

I had a deep tissue massage with Julie and although the massage was pretty good and helpful, her attitude wasn’t. I was only about 5 minutes late because of traffic (appt was at 4:30). I called in advance to let her know, so she was more than welcome and had enough time to cancel the appointment if she wanted to. She said my muscles feel “weird”, which was a rude and disrespectful comment to make to a client. She seemed so irritated that my body was tense lol which is funny because that’s the reason I am coming in for a massage. She followed with a demand that I relax and said word for word “you’re like fighting me”. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The massage itself was good, but Julie’s attitude was terrible. I don’t recommend her but I do recommend this location with another staff member! I still gave her a 15% tip (the lowest amount I thought was appropriate) because I always kill em with kindness. ❤️

I did have a nice massage there but I had a Groupon and couldn't get an appointment for a couple of weeks then she tried to get me to prepay for more otherwise it would cost me $99. I just didn't like the owner unfortunately. Beautiful place and massage was good to be fair.

Nestled near San Clemente State Beach, Mizokami ACSL Therapy is a well-kept secret in Orange County's spa scene. The spa is renowned for its Mizokami Advanced-Circulatory Sports Lymphatic (MACSL) massage technique, designed to enhance circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and eliminate toxins from the body.
I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Zena, and I can honestly say it was one of the best massage experiences I've ever had! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and welcoming, and Zena’s professionalism and expertise immediately put me at ease. If you're looking for a therapist who truly knows how to blend relaxation with effective therapy, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Zena at MACSL. I can't wait for my next session! BONUS** MACSL has an amazing red light sauna! THE BEST! Thank you for an amazing experience!

By far the greatest treatment I have ever received! I swear by this place! Pedro is outstanding. He is extremely talented with knowing the body and when and where to apply pressure and when to not. I’m highly recommending this place to anyone. I have my results for several weeks after where as other places it only lasts a few days. Really easy to schedule. It is something that you have to spend money on. It’s a little pricy but worth every penny. Can’t wait for my next treatment

I'll never go back to a deep tissue massage again! This lymphatic massage was everything I needed to feel amazing. Detox, relaxation, and rejuvenation. I've walked away from deep tissue massages still feeling tight or puffy in places. Not the case with this experience. I am SOLD. I will make doing lymphatic massage a regular part of my routine. It's a few days later, and I'm STILL feeling invigorated from it! Thank you, Pablo, for such great work!

I can’t recommended Mizokami ACSL Therapy enough. The ambiance and clinicians are absolutely wonderful. My lymphatic massage was hands down the best massage I’ve had in my life. Alex, my clinician was amazing. She asked me about areas of concern and worked out all of my aches and pains. I had a good amount of drainage and they explained to me what everything meant. The days after my massage I noticed increased energy and overall wellness.

I had micro-blading done on my brows and absolutely LOVE THEM!!!! Brandi was so patient and explained every step of the process and didn’t start the procedure until we both discussed and agreed on the look I wanted.

They wasted my time by giving me false information. I have received Botox and other products similar with no issues for 18 years in 3 states. They asked if I ever had Bells Palsy I said yes years ago so they refused treatment. This would be fine except it is false. I went and had Botox which they don’t use by the way “tox” is not Botox at my dermatologist and she say that is false in fact Botox is used to treat Bells Palsy. Not very transparent about what they are giving you.

Since I arrived at the spa, I was greeted with a smile at the front desk, and well, this is my first Sculptra. I thought my face would come out swollen and bruised, but it wasn't at all. Rocky treated me very professionally and pleasantly. I am very happy to have come to this place.

I had reconstructive surgery and I could have never been happier for the choice I made. Not only do I look amazing, the office staff was amazing. Lisa is the absolute best. She was there for me throughout the process, even talking me down from my fears when the office was closed. Dr. Reicher is the best! I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking to get any work done.

Hi. Angeli here. I have been going to Spa Aesthetica for many years. Botox, fillers, facials, micro needling and more. The staff is always very nice and friendly. I love that there is no pressure placed to get many units of Botox or filler and o am able to get the minimal treatments that I want. I have been seeing Rocky the last few years and I love her. I’ve also had liposuction and under eye filler done by Dr Reichner who has excellent bedside manners. I recommend this place to all.

The staff here was very kind, welcoming, and explained the services throuroughly. It was my first time getting botox and the staff answered all my questions. They made me feel comfortable in my decision. They didn't push any services I wasn't interested in and explained the after care as well as tell me the process of what happens if I want to come back for more. Very pleased with their services.
Jackelyn G — Google review
Set up my appointment for a little filler. Met with the front desk and checked in. They took my before photos and asked if I wanted for some numbing cream. After my numbing I met with Nurse Rocky. She explained the process and proceded to start the injections. She's got a great hand and it wasn't painful at all. After completion they took "after" photos for my records. I would highly recommend this Spa. People are great, office is very nice! I'll definitely be back.

This medspa was added to my radar when I saw the excellent reviews, range of services provided, and close proximity to my work. My first visit was lovely. As soon as I walked in, I was immersed in the tranquil spa vibes. All the staff were friendly and kind. I signed up to be a sculptra model (at a discounted price). The doctor was training his NP on how to inject and how to assess what was needed for facial rejuvenation. My treatment went smoothly (with minimal bruising) and the doctor did a great job of explaining as well as teaching. It was an easy breezy experience. I look forward to coming back for more treatments in the future! Thank you so much! 😊

The Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a tranquil oasis that provides self-care for guests. The spa is inspired by the beauty and connection to California's terrain, and its amenities include an indoor rainforest, four hot tubs, a sauna, massage rooms, and a fitness center.
I booked the Tenaya Signature Massage (80-min) in January of 2024 and had a wonderful experience. I received a phone call the day prior to confirm my reservation. Check-in on the day of was seamless, and the staff was superb. I was given a brief history of the spa followed by a tour of the facilities. After settling in, my masseuse showed me to the treatment room. He assessed my needs, and provided a massage that was therapeutic and relaxing. The products he used smelled nice and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I appreciated the massage tables they use. Not only are they heated, but they raise and lower, which is beneficial for guests. The blankets, robes and towels were also incredibly soft and comfortable. The (men’s) wet area was pristine, with ice water, robes, towels, sandals, along with any toiletries you might need. The lockers have built-in locks for your personals. The showers and steam room are elegant and provide total privacy. The relaxation area was my favorite part. They provide fresh fruit and snacks, along with assorted beverages. This area has comfortable lighting and gentle music. There were also books and magazines if you find yourself with extra time. The theming of the spa was done quite nicely. A woodsy yet elegant vibe, that immediately relaxes your mind. The design throughout was quite calming. The art provides a cohesiveness that makes you forget about the theme park that sits next door. I think the remodel of this spa was done beautifully and I look forward to my next visit.

I scheduled a same day classic pedicure as an impulse since I was going to be at the resort that day anyway. I was not disappointed. In fact, I may have to budget in getting my pedis here more often! Jenny was my nail tech and she is the sweetest woman. I would highly recommend booking with her. We chatted a bit here and there but mostly I was able to lay back and just vibe in the quiet atmosphere. She was very gentle and thorough with my beat up runner’s feet 😆 There was also a gentleman who came by to provide me with refreshments and some surprise snacks, as well as a warm, weighted, lavender scented neck pillow. They start right on time, as long as you’re on time, and the salon is relaxing from the get go. They play spa versions of Disney songs and everything is so quiet, despite the salon being right next the very active main pool area. The chairs are very comfortable, and they have both massage and heat functions. Not to mention that all the buttons worked (if you go to a lot of salons, you know). This classic pedicure was $90, inclusive of the 20% gratuity that the spa automatically adds. It’s not mandatory, so you can have it adjusted if you’d like. Know that they will have you pay prior to your spa services.

This was a wonderful experience! I was there in early July 2022. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have impeccable attention to detail and wonderful customer service. The relaxation room is absolutely beautiful and really helps you find your zen. The river stone treatment was heavenly! I got to pick my aromatherapy and my music. The therapist was really kind and checked in often to be sure I was okay. Tools are top of the line. I left with the only regret that I didn’t book more services. I am already tying to find out when I can return!

What an amazing experience! True to all Disney this spa has a story to tell. You are given a choice at the beginning (I won’t spoil it for you) and depending on that choice you journey through your spa experience with that intention. The facility was beautiful. The extra magic throughout made it luxurious and fun. From the relaxation room with your choice of heated and scented neck pillow accompanied by tea and treats, to the music you listen to during your service. It’s all about you. The massage was amazing! 10 out of 10. Worth every penny!!! Better than any Disney souvenir a hard working momma could ask for. Thanks for the magic! 🪄

Just WOW! Let me say that this is not something I would typically do during my Disney vaction as it is so hard to tear myself away from the parks. But the day before was tropical storm Hilary and my friend and I had free run of both DCA and DL. This meant we rode every single ride without waiting in line!! That said, this was one of the very best spa experiences I've ever had. My hosts name was Jazmine, and she went above and beyond to make this a most magical day. From the moment she introduced herself and guided me through the welcome ceremony, I was blown away. The facility was spotless and so very thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need and then some. Every single person I interacted with was gracious, and my actual massage (by David) was fantastic. I opted for a 50-minute $195 version. In all, my friend and I were able to relax and soak up the goodness for about 3 hours with time before and after to enjoy the amenities. I would do this again in a heartbeat as it was truly memorable. Did I mention the spa has a bunch of fabulous exclusive merchandise?!
Monique L — Google review
I had a great experience at Tenaya Stone Spa. It started with the women at the front desk being so helpful and showing me around. They talked me through what to expect as it was my first time at a spa. I enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room and then a nice rain fall shower afterward. I was provided shower shoes and a super comfy robe. After my shower, I went into a relaxation room. I was provided pastries, fruit infused water, & there's relaxing sounds as well as a little water fall. I was also given a warm neck pillow while I waited. Right on time, my masseuse Carr, came out. She was extremely kind and helpful. My massage was amazing and I added on a scalp massage because I was enjoying my experience so much! The massage oil/lotion smelled so good and left my skin feeling so soft. When I was done, I decided to check out the little gift shop by the front desk. I bought myself a beautiful gemstone necklace. They have some of the products they used during the massage and other little spa like products. I really enjoyed my massage and the overall experience. I would recommend and I will definitely be back!

Many patrons have experienced noticeable improvements in their skin after treatments like Radio Frequency Firming Treatment, which tightens, lifts, and enhances skin appearance.
Facial lounge has been my safe haven for my cystic acne and scarring…every time I come in for a facial I leave feeling beautiful and relaxed! I’ve been getting my facials regularly along with using their take home cleansers, moisturizers, and face masks and my skin always feels so fresh and clean. My acne has subsided with the occasional hormonal pimple or two, but even those lil inconveniences are not match for the girls at facial lounge!! They truly care about helping their clients throughout their skin journey, whether that be acne or aging skin… these girls are dedicated to making their clients feel and look beautiful!!! I don’t trust ANY other spa with my skin and with their clean and vegan skincare…why would I?? No other place feels as warm and welcoming as Facial Lounge and as long as I’ve got skin, this is my spa🥰🥰 1000/10

Always a great experience @ Facial Lounge Costa Mesa! I stopped by last week and met with Amber Burns (Owner and facial extraordinaire!) and I described the acne issues I have been dealing with for sometime now and she immediately went to work and provided an awesome personalized treatment. The Blue Light specifically for acne, along with some gentle products and other tools too calm my skins redness and inflammation, has yielded some very nice results already. She then proceeded to recommend a wonderful serum, mask, hydro mist, and the gentle cleanser for aftercare and my skin has been very happy to say the least! I will be back for sure to combat these issues and excited for my further results! Thank you @FacialLounge! #AcneBootCamp

I cannot say enough good things about Facial Lounge. I started going in January when I discovered them and their products and treatments have completely changed my skin and life. I never thought I would be able to go out without makeup on and feel confident and now I have completely thrown all my face makeup away I don't even need it! My skin is so sensitive and every product I used before would give me a rash or clog my pores (even the ones that weren't supposed to). I had honestly resigned myself to the fact that there was nothing that could help me and I would just have bad skin for the rest of my life. Which is why I am so blown away by Facial Lounge's incredibly pure products and treatments. I love every single employee they have there and now exclusively use only Facial Lounge products on my skin! I've taken so many of my friends and family there and they all have fallen completely in love as well. Can't recommend them enough!

Not only that I feel the difference and see if myself, but I've been getting compliments from several people including my dermatologist Dr. herself (!) about my skin looks beautiful ! It was amazing! Both Cindy and CoCo did a great job. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the service. The pressure was just right for me. My partner would have preferred slightly deeper, but still absolutely loved the experience. We felt completely pampered and the hot stones were the cherry on top. We walked out completely relaxed. We were so impressed that we booked another session the same day. Before you buy a Groupon deal, make sure to call the spa directly and they’ll price match!

I’ve had three wonderful massages at Massage Seven and every therapist I’ve seen has been great always giving the deep pressure I ask for and focusing on the areas I need most. Today I came in for my birthday and Susan gave me the most amazing treatment! From the warm welcome at the start, to her telling me she wanted to make my massage extra special, to the happy birthday wishes throughout, it honestly made for the best birthday massage experience. I even left with a sweet little gift. 🙌😊 I feel so relaxed, blissed out, and grateful to have found my massage home.

I had the best experience at Massage Seven in Costa Mesa. Everything was so clean and the service was phenomenal. The masseuse was amazing and relieved all of my tension. Such a cute spa!! Will definitely be back.

It was a subpar experience… I went to experience the Mother’s Day special plus an extra 30 minutes, which I did receive. However there wasn’t anything that special about it. There was supposed to be aromatherapy, but unfortunately I only smelled the oils for about 2 minutes. The remaining 88 minutes, honestly just smelled much like Indian food. Towards the end, the therapist seemed rushed to finish, which was not relaxing at all, if anything, it kind of hurt. I do say the back scrub was nice, but the whole experience in my opinion was absolutely not worth $159 (not including tip).

The place is clean, however, I went with a bad lower back and hip pain. That was not remotely resolved. I don’t think these massages spas cater to relieving pain but it’s mostly for maybe relaxation. The therapist was good, but she never worked on the areas where I had to pain. I was visiting the area for work and went to the one which had the most stars. Not really helpful for the pain since I’m still suffering after the massage.

I booked a massage at this spa which allowed me access to the full spa for the day even though I wasn’t staying at the resort. My massage was $210 plus tip, access to the spa included a steam room, dry sauna, indoor whirlpool, lounge, showers, and a small outdoor patio area. It would have been nice to have a cool thing like a pool or something because of all the heat from the steam, sauna, and whirlpool. My massage was 50 minute which it was exactly to the minute. The facilities were nice but not overall it fell short of my expectations, just a few things that could have been updated.
Jill C — Google review
So packed and noisy + over tipping is forced. Automatic 20% added even on dining credit that also had 20% added when I used it by the main pool. So that awesome $50 meal ended up costing me $72. Seems super tacky to me. The jacuzzi had a fun group of ladies but man they were shout talking over the jets. I ended spending more time in the quiet area. It’s bigger and prettier spa than nearby resorts but just pick a non weekend. Champagne serving was tiny.
Natasha F — Google review
Visited on a weekday and enjoyed a few hours here! The space is small but cozy and had some nice spots to it. I have a 4 star rating only because some of the tile and areas seem a little outdated and run down! Otherwise it was a great experience overall, very calming and felt comfy and not too bougie. The snacks were nice and the large shower in the back was my absolute favorite! I would recommend this spa as a first time spa if you would like to explore spas for the first time as it was a good first experience for me!

We came here to have their signature massage. From the moment you walk in to the very end the staff is very engaged in delivering what I call a world class service. The softest robes are provided, eucalyptus shower, hot tub and the men’s sauna and steam room were being renovated so I imagine after it’s going to be an elegant experience. I still had that experience with my therapist Jade she was so genuine and one of the most authentic people I’ve met the massage was incredible, she even asked if she wanted to have them bring my lady to meet me after in their little courtyard with a fire pit.

Amazing full highlights, cut, blow-dry, and style from WENDY! Full service comes with INCLUDED full day spa pass AND validated valet parking. Great stylist, very nice full service salon & spa in South wing of Hyatt. Steam and dry sauna, jacuzzi, pool, water, tea, coffee, and light snacks in each gender separated quiet relaxation room or outdoor secluded patio only for spa guests.

I got engaged and my family and in laws visited Huntington Beach and stayed at the Hyatt to celebrate. My family has been to this hotel and spa countless times, we booked 3 facials for my mom and my mother in law and were greeted by a rude blonde girl. My in law is an elderly woman with arthritis and we did our best to hurry up, but she can only move so fast so we apologized upon entering and she was extremely rude to us. My mom also let them know we are right behind her, and she was extremely rude to my mom as well! We were 3 minutes late. This made an $700+ experience pretty poor to begin with. Our facials were wonderful as usual, all of our aestheticians were very kind but I hope they have been able to address the front desk since then.

Pelican Hill, located in the Newport Beach area of California, offers a festive holiday experience with Nutcracker Tea Holiday Parties featuring ballet performances and holiday tea. The resort's elegant ballroom hosts this enchanting tradition where families can enjoy tea sandwiches, pastries, and scones. Additionally, guests can take advantage of the hotel's proximity to local attractions such as the Orange County Museum of Art and Newport Harbor Nautical Museum.

Since Marriott took over, they have lowered the quality of experience for guests *very* dramatically. Every turn, you're gonna get billed. I mean it. 50 dollars for valet - people are literally parking on the street which is not a luxury experience. When I worked here years ago, it was a high quality experience. Don Bren himself would tour the property to make sure it embodied "The possibility of Perfection." The best of the best. Now, under the guise of new management, I'd likely have a better experience at a McDonald's. If you have the money to stay, spend it elsewhere. Still a beautiful property which is why it's not one star review. But I wouldn't be surprised if this became timeshares soon.

Terrible resort Initially booked a 2 Bedroom Ocean View Villa for two weeks, cut my trip short after 4 nights due to the following: 1- villa was not inspected before check in, AC was not working, also one of the toilets needed repair ! 2- 1st night ordered room service, after 3 calls and waiting for 45 minutes for the food to be picked up, I was informed by room service that it would be quicker if I took the food and plates out as they are busy ! 3- Breakfast, the kitchen is not hygienic, found a hair in my dish 4- 2nd day, ordered room service for my children, pizza arrived late and was a rock, as t was cold ! After complaining they managed to get one in 15 minutes 5- it took them more than 24 hours to repair the toilet 6- villa pool, staff not interested in assisting guests, attendant was rude and not helpful when I requested from them to fill the child safety floaters with air ! 7- last night, decided to dine at the colosseum pool, hostess was rude, even though tables were available, she made us wait for more than ten minutes while her and other staff were chatting and not bothered to clean and prepare the table, after 10 minutes we just walked out 8- upon our early check out, there were extra charges which I had to inspect and reverse In conclusion, even though I paid for a 2 Ocean villa, I had a greater view of the car parking and trees... service was horrible, rude and incompetent staff... would defiantly not return to the resort as I truly felt cheated by them, they take their international guests for granted !

Pelican Hill - North Course Good reason why this course is part of Golf Digest’s 100 Best Public Golf Courses in America. Though a round comes with a hefty price tag, this ‘bucket list’ course is worth the price. The course is immaculate, and I played it in the middle of winter. I did experience three seasons in the same round (probably pretty rare on most days in SoCal), I found the undulations and consistent views of Newport Beach below on just about every hole exactly what I was hoping for. Though I played the white tees to make it easier for my first round on this course, it was still very difficult with some of the fastest greens I’ve ever played (it was fun though - no complaints). Beautiful, gorgeous SoCal golf course, which I’ll be back to play again.

They are a god send truly! I was struggling with significant breakouts and I had tried everything on my own. So I decided it was time to look to professionals to help. Hanan and Haley are literally the sweetest human beings as well as extremely knowledgeable. They’ve made my skin so clear that I feel confident not wearing makeup going outside my house now. Sauna Purify Lounge is a great place to relax and purify your body in a comfortable and relaxing environment. The infrared sauna and cryotherapy treatments can help reduce chronic pain, reduce inflammation, and encourage weight loss.
I originally tried Purify out with ClassPass and I M SO happy I did. I have a pretty stressful job and this is honestly one place I’ve found brings me so much peace. It’s really one of the few times during the week where I leave my phones outside of the sauna, am free of media, work, and so on, and am forced by the heat to be calm, breathe and meditate. I never thought I’d find heat to be this soothing but it really has become something that I need at least once a week. The staff are so kind, friendly, helpful and understanding and I absolutely adore this place. If you want to try something new and aren’t sure, I’m telling you it’s worth it. They also have the cryo thing which I’ve used once...it was...well, cold 🥶 lol Heat is more my thing haha OH they have eucalyptus infused moist towels, water and other drinks available as well. ❤️❤️❤️

Been coming to this place for a while now. Place is always clean and love that the used towel returns is inside the room itself. They also do not skimp out on the towels. Staff is friendly and prices are competitive. Hope they open one closer to the 92805 area but don’t mind the drive to get there for the good service.

I like this biz the most compared to others because they're reasonably priced, their AC is always on, they have air purifier fans in each room, & give you 2 wet essential oil towels & 4 multiple-sized dry towels! Others LACK almost ALL of these amenities!

It was my first time trying cryotherapy, and Francesca made the experience so much easier. She was very helpful and kept talking to me throughout the entire session to take my mind off how cold it was. I definitely plan on coming back! I got two sessions for $60, which was a great deal. After not working out for four years and jumping back into it, I already feel amazing.

I recently visited Purify Sauna Lounge in Anaheim, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I entered, I was greeted with a serene atmosphere and a warm welcome from the staff. The facility is beautifully designed, creating a perfect ambiance for relaxation and rejuvenation. I opted for an infrared sauna session, and it exceeded all my expectations. The sauna rooms are clean, spacious, and provide a customizable experience to suit your comfort level. The heat was soothing and therapeutic, offering a detoxifying session that left me feeling refreshed and invigorated. The attention to detail in maintaining a hygienic environment was evident and greatly appreciated. One of the standout features of Purify Sauna Lounge is the exceptional customer service. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely invested in ensuring that every guest has a top-notch experience. They provided helpful tips on how to maximize the benefits of the sauna and were always available to assist with any questions or needs. In addition to the wonderful sauna experience, Purify Sauna Lounge also offers cryotherapy, which provides an excellent way to enhance recovery and boost overall wellness. Although I didn’t try it on this visit, I am looking forward to exploring it next time as part of my wellness routine. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and encourages a sense of well-being and relaxation. Purify Sauna Lounge is a hidden gem in Anaheim, ideal for anyone seeking a high-quality sauna experience with outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape. While I generally prefer concise reviews, I feel compelled to share my thoughts about my experience with Purify Sauna Lounge. I stumbled upon Purify Sauna Lounge by chance and decided to invest in their unlimited membership. The atmosphere there is impeccably clean and exceptionally inviting. What struck me most was the level of respect and warmth with which I was greeted. Their infrared treatments are not only beneficial but a true delight. One particular aspect that stands out is the use of wet towels infused with incredible essential oils. This small touch elevates the entire treatment, especially for someone like me, who leads an active lifestyle. The recovery benefits and the time for introspection it provides are truly invaluable. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I've come to consider this time at Purify Sauna Lounge as essential. It's become a sanctuary for me to meditate and find peace of mind. In summary, I can't recommend this location highly enough. If you're seeking a place that combines relaxation, rejuvenation, and a genuine sense of well-being, Purify Sauna Lounge is the perfect choice.

I was in the area for a business conference and had originally booked at the hotel spa. After they tacked a mandatory fee onto my reservation, I started to look elsewhere for a massage. I found White Lotus and was so glad I did! It was a short and beautiful walk through Heritage Park with a brief stop at the scenic Dana Point Bluff Top Trail. I grabbed an omelet and latte across the street at the French restaurant, then had a glorious hour and a half with Tracy. The inside of the spa immediately brought my blood pressure down, and her expert touch relieved the stress and aches of multiple days of travel. It was worth exploring the area away from the hotel, and it was barely a mile walk. I wish I had more time for a facial! I would absolutely go back to Tracy and the White Lotus Day Spa.

Nestled in the charming town of Lake Forest, Le Château Enchanté Day Spa is a true sanctuary of luxury and relaxation. Owner Sarah Oliva meticulously curates every aspect of the spa experience, from the fresh floral arrangements in the lobby to delightful complimentary snacks, ensuring that each visit feels special.
Sarah is a fantastic massage therapist. My first massage with her was the best I've ever had. She's very attentive to what your body needs. I've had multiple injuries and chronic pain and she was able to address all those problem areas so well. She also provides after care tools and instructions that are very helpful. I finally found my massage therapist! Highly recommend.
Sarah H — Google review
Facial was good but each service was a la carte. The facial was advertised as an introductory for 2 hours for $150. I booked a 2:15 which was moved that day to 2:30. When I arrived at 2:28 the owner was still removing sheets from the last person and still needed to get set up. It took her about 10 minutes to get everything ready. This was okay - understood trying to maximize her time. She is definitely knowledgeable and brings a medical background to the facial. Each service performed like a peel was over and above the $150 cost and I spent a total of $320 - didn’t expect this. It was also shorter than the 2 hours advertised. Her massage services may be better than the facial services - more straightforward on cost. Just make sure to ask what is included and what is not included in the “initial” cost.
Karen H — Google review
My massage with Sarah is the best I've ever had. She was quickly able to identify an array of issues in my neck & shoulders, and addressed those with some amazing deep tissue work. Sarah is caring and thorough. She went out of her way to provide me with resources and suggestions to extend my healing. Her studio is just perfect, too -- I loved the whole experience. Thank you, Sarah, I'm so glad I found you!
Cornelia L — Google review
I rarely write reviews, but my last two massage experiences definitely warrant one. Sarah is an absolute master masseuse! Her vast knowledge of the human anatomy and how to loosen tight muscles is second to none. Besides her expertise, she is such a kind, thoughtful, and genuine person. I will definitely be back soon.
Andrea L — Google review
Where do I begin with Sarah? This is my second series of medical massages with Sarah (last time 5 years ago) and was so glad to see Sarah even still in the business when my ongoing pinched nerve in my neck really wrecked my life about 5 months ago. I should have immediately phoned her, and I finally did a few months ago and she was like a human X-ray as she scanned me up and down on our first visit. She had my poor posture analyzed. She is also finding anxiety issues and ADHD issues just by her hands-on massages, so there is a mental component to this pain that only she has figured out. Not my doctor, not my personal trainer, not my physical therapist. Only Sarah. And now I can take that ‘diagnosis’ to a mental health specialist and work on my ADHD. I don’t even call her my ‘massage therapist’. I refer to her as my ‘healer’ and yes, after the first visit, I felt like I was hit by a bus (because I’ve been neglecting my body and what it needs for too long). But after the second or third day? I was able to finally sleep without having to weirdly prop my body up with three pillows to find the EXACT angle so my left arm wasn’t on fire all night. I’m enjoying life again. For months I couldn’t attend concerts (tried and nearly had a mental breakdown) or enjoy the beach or enjoy my yardwork (which actually triggered this latest pain bout). Am I out of the woods? Far from it. Which is why I’ve been going regularly and need to ‘do my homework’ of stretching and cardio to not have her keep fixing the same problems. Is it expensive? Well, isn’t life? If I could write a check for $10,000 or $20,000 to have this pain stop, would I? Absolutely. Chronic pain is very debilitating and depressing. Was it all Sarah, or did my meds and PT and gym regimen finally kick in? I don’t know. All I know is that by Day 3 after the INITIAL visit with Sarah, I was a new man. I have a watch that tracks my sleep score. It went up. A lot. So medical massages need to be part of ALL of our lives. If I ever get this pain situation under control, I will STILL continue with Sarah once or twice a month. Don’t let it get away from you. This should be covered under insurance and maybe someday it will be, because it is by far the most important phone call I made during my last 6 months of hell. But now, I’m going to see the Oasis reunion concert this weekend, I danced HARD to a reggae band a few days ago, I’m doing yardwork, and enjoying and appreciating life again. We talk a lot during our two hour sessions, and she’s also got my mind and perspective in a better place. If you need pain management and posture analysis, go to Sarah. Run to Sarah. She’s a HEALER. An actual healer.
Scott W — Google review
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarah. This is my first time going to see her and my experience was phenomenal. Not only was she very caring, but she was immediately able to tune in to what my body needed within a few short minutes of just working into the massage. I feel like so much tension, anguish, and toxins were released from my body after my time with her. Sarah is extremely intuitive, easy to talk to, and just an overall lovely person. The massage was incredible and I feel amazing today. I definitely would recommend her!
Sandra M — Google review
Sarah was amazing! She can narrow in on the precise painful parts of your body so well! She is so intuitive to the human body and how it works. She's able to provide a very comprehensive and healing massage because of her extensive knowledge of the human body. At other places, I would often come out feeling a bit sore. With her, all of the muscles just felt so relaxed and at ease. If you're looking for someone who's able to heal and relax your muscles without you having to explain every little thing, she's your girl. I highly recommend her.

Nestled in the picturesque Huntington Beach, Aarna Spa at Pasea Hotel & Spa is a serene retreat that promises rejuvenation and relaxation with stunning ocean views. Spanning 5,800 square feet, this luxurious spa features an array of services such as massages, facials, and body treatments. Guests can indulge in the beautifully designed treatment rooms or unwind in the enchanting couples suite.
Aarna Spa is worth its weight in gold! The ambience is beautiful and is reflective in the experience you’re about to receive. I did the Aarna’s Ocean Devotion Massage, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The massage technique reflects the motion of the ocean with its fast and slow strokes, and it was both relaxing and restorative. Victoria, the masseuse, was wonderful, and I would recommend him to everyone. My only complaint was that I only booked a 50 minute session. The service also included the Spa Pass with access with its jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, relaxation lounge, and outdoor spa garden.
Johanna M — Google review
I had a serene and peaceful experience with Aarna. I came in for their Empower Hour massage on a weekday. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Valet parking is validated with a spa service. I believe one could easily spend 2+ hours here to step away from their busy life and relax and rewind. Couple things I have to be picky about: 1) One of the showers (not the accessible one) in the female room is not properly working, and 2) I found some unknown dirt like residual in my water from their refreshment (probably precipitation from not cleaning the electric kettle?). I hope the hotel/spa can take care of that and fix these issues for their guests.
Naomi L — Google review
Very nice, clean facility with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and professional. My Swedish massage was wonderful — the masseuse listened carefully and catered perfectly to my problem areas. My mother had a deep-tissue massage followed by a facial with the same practitioner. Unfortunately, the pressure during the deep-tissue massage was lighter than expected, and several elements listed as part of the Signature Facial were not included in her session. She was too kind to mention it at the time, but when you’re paying a premium, you should be able to expect top-tier service from start to finish.

Honestly, Sunday brunch at Waldorf Astoria's restaurant was a total dream! Walked in without reservation and snagged a table no problem, which was nice. The staff were super chill and accommodating, kudos for making us eggs Benedict off-menu, btw! The food was seriously next-level, salmon was cooked to perfection, ceviche was ridiculously fresh, and that strawberry dessert? To. Die. For. If you're looking for a fancy brunch spot without the fuss, this is it!

I booked a spa day here for my sister's birthday gift, but I mistakenly booked the wrong spa in a different town. When I realized the error, I called to explain that we couldn't make it due to the distance. Unfortunately, they refused to accommodate my situation and charged me $1200 for services we never received, citing their strict policy. While I was willing to pay a cancellation fee, being charged for the full amount feels extremely unfair, especially since I cannot afford such a significant expense. I was trying to do something special for my sister and myself, and this experience has been very disappointing. I would not recommend this spa due to their inflexible and unkind policy.

A waste. Amenities were slightly nice, but not worth the hype. Charges for a mani and pedi were miscommunicated on the website and in-person. Ended up being $350. Nail polish is natural, so there is no option for gel or dip. Pictures show day 2 of my nails - one is already chipping away and another is cracking underneath.

Had Curtis for a 60 minute Serenity Massage. I can’t even begin to say how amazing it was. I’ve never felt so relaxed and well taken care of. I didn’t want to leave at the end haha! Highly recommend coming here and booking with Curtis.

My wonderful sister treated me to a deep tissue massage and I will be forever grateful. Deborah who was my massage therapist was truly amazing. The entire experience was one in which I will always remember. It was obvious that Deborah was a master from the onset. Blessed with healing hands. I would encourage anyone embrace the opulence of being cared for.

My daughter and I had an amazing day at the spa. My daughter received a massage from Curtis. She said it was the best massage she has ever had! She could not stop talking about how amazing it was. She said his technique was very impressive. Update: Another great spa day and this time my gf had the massage by Curtis, she agreed, it was one of her top massage experiences. The spa pool and hot tub were very nice as well. Great overall experience.
Carin W — Google review
The communication from the massage therapist was very poor. My request for lower back attention was ignored, and they massaged and roughened my twists (4c hair) without requesting for permission or giving me a heads-up. Additionally, the facilities were incredibly underwhelming.

We had a couples massage for our anniversary We booked a deep tissue massage My masseuse started out strong for the first 5 minutes, but for the next 85 minutes i kept Having to kindly request that she apply more pressure, which she never did I requested 6 times and it was so frustrating, instead of relaxing i was More tense It was not inexpensive, so to have her basically just rub my body without actually applying pressure and ignoring my requests was very upsetting I would Not recommend booking a massage here The spa needs an upgrade also

La Vita Salon & Spa is a hidden gem that offers an intimate and luxurious retreat for those seeking a personalized pampering experience. Founded by the talented Mariella Hoss, who boasts over 30 years of expertise and training from the prestigious London College of Fashion, this salon is dedicated to nurturing not just your hair but also your overall well-being. With a small yet welcoming team of professionals, La Vita ensures that every visit feels like a special escape tailored to each guest's needs.
I had a lymphatic facial massage today with Melissa, and it felt amazing. I had drainage through my nose and throat from toxins leaving my face. I use only organic clean products. I eat very clean, I have an extrict exercise routine, and still needed this massage. I highly recommend it. Other facials are available, I will be trying the organic peel. Thanks Melissa. ❤️❤️

I cannot say enough great things about Mariella. I've been to her a few times now, and every visit has been great. She truly understands all things hair and color. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she also takes the time to listen to what I want while offering expert suggestions to make sure I leave the salon loving my hair. My color always turns out vibrant, natural-looking, and exactly what I envisioned (if not better!). She also uses the best products! Beyond the results, the whole experience is wonderful. The salon has a great atmosphere, and Mariella makes the appointment enjoyable with her warm personality and attention to detail. If you're looking for a talented, knowledgeable, and kind hair stylist who can do it all and who truly cares about their clients, look no further.

I am amazed at this hidden gem. Tucked away with a garden experience. It was peaceful and re-charging of my energy. The haircut I received was exceptional!!! I am a low maintenance type of girl. I love my haircut is is absolutely the best I have ever had. The products used on my hair helped it be strong and subtle. I loved the interaction with Mariella!!! I really enjoyed my time with her. I will always choose La Vita for all my spa needs!!! Talking with Mariella gave me insight the quality and care that each service offered is preformed with. I am looking forward to getting more services at LA Vita Salon!!!

I love this salon! I had my eyebrows microbladed by Emily and they are perfect. I get compliments on my eyebrows constantly - which is really strange because prior to the microblading no one ever mentioned my eyebrows, ever. Emily is so talented that I consistently recommend that my NorCal friends take a trip to the OC and get their eyebrows done. Mariella is so kind and warm - she makes you feel like you have known her for years. If you want a full make-over, you could go in for eyebrows and facial with Emily, hair with Mariella and then a mani/pedi and VOILA!

La Vita Salon & Spa is a refuge located in beautiful Corona del Mar. Mariella, the owner is wonderful and takes her time to make you feel renewed, energized, revitalized and relaxed with her array of services including her rejuvenating lymphatic facial. In just 3 treatments, I have noticed a significant positive improvement in my skin's texture and tone and have received compliments on how my skin glows. Mariella uses only top quality organic brands that she customizes for each individual skin type to provide optimum results. In addition to offering one of a kind facials, Mariella's hair treatments, cuts and color leave your hair feeling vibrant, sexy and healthy. Looking forward to my next appointments.

Everyone needs to experience Lavita Salon & Spa! For the past few years, I have enjoyed the services that Mariella has provided as she goes above and beyond to ensure that you feel pampered and loved in the tranquil and relaxing environment that Lavita Salon & Spa provides. There is truly no other place like it. I've been to many salons over the years, and I can honestly say that I am so grateful that I found this gem in Corona Del Mar. Mariella's holistic approach, expertise and techniques are by far the best I have ever experienced. On the fence? Give it a go. You deserve it.

Emily surpassed my expectations of micro blading my brows. It was my first time. She explained every step, answered all my questions and put me at ease. She is masterful and so meticulous. My brows are so beautiful and natural! The transformation was amazing. I only had just a thin line of my real brow left before seeing Emily. Emily gave me my youth back! I recommend her 1000%!

I have been seen several times by Mariella and she is a true professional to her industry. I’ve worked in the spa industry for over 10 years, and I can confidently say that Miriam/Christian and Brenda at the front desk are among the best I’ve encountered. From the moment I walked in, their professionalism and warmth set the tone for an exceptional experience. My husband and I got a couple's massage and both of our massage therapists were great. Amazing experience for Memorial Day Weekend! Made even better, if you secure a spot in their spa pool by purchasing a spa cabana! We had a great time and enjoyed lunch by the pool, then had our amazing couples massage by Ice and Amy! Truly a relaxing experience!

Beautiful resort and spa. I arrive early and was able to have a drink out by the private pool before my treatment. I had a massage with Ice and she made it such a wonderful experience. She customized my massage to meet my needs and checked in to ensure everything met my expectations. What a treat! Will definitely be back and will book with Ice.

What transpired here was not just a simple misunderstanding—it was a breach of trust. Without any prior notification or consent, my card was charged $500, under the pretense of a "no-show" for an appointment I never confirmed. Out of courtesy and good faith, I even attempted to reschedule what they had unilaterally booked on my behalf. Shockingly, I was met with a flat refusal and told there would be no refund, as I had supposedly failed to attend a confirmed appointment—an accusation both untrue and deeply unfair. Let me be clear: I never received a confirmation call. I never confirmed or signed off on an appointment. During a prior visit, I mentioned a tentative interest in a date (April 19), but I explicitly requested that my card not be charged. I was assured, verbally, that no charges would be applied unless I formally accepted. I did not. To have this turned against me, and to be told that I am now liable for services I never received, is not just unethical—it is emotionally distressing and professionally unacceptable. This experience has permanently eroded any trust I once had in this business. It is a sobering reminder of why we must be cautious with who we entrust our personal and financial information to. I will not be returning. And I hope this serves as a fair warning to others.

AMAZING!! This made our stay 10x better. What a perfect way to relax and decompress after a morning of exploring Newport Beach. My mom and I got a 50 min massage and after enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and steam room. We relaxed at the Spa's pool afterwards, which was very low key. The spa was clean, beautiful, treatment & staff were great, and we were very pleased with this experience. I highly recommend.

Not a bad hotel but if you’re going to pay extremely upscale prices you expect a certain level of hospitality. Their service is good but the rooms were ok (partial ocean view), only 1 restaurant choice whose menu is limited, bar is cool, shuttle service is in 5 mile radius which was helpful also, pool was a bit underwhelming, room service closed at 11, walk to the room from front lobby is really far. Mixed feelings about this place but if you’re going to give it a shot, have your wallets ready!

Me and my daughter had the most amazing experience today at Drift Spa. We mentioned that my daughter is getting married in couple weeks and they made sure to pamper us properly. Lita from Spa went above and beyond and left the sweetest gifts and flowers in our lockers as a surprise. She is also so talented and has magic hands that heal you immediately. I would travel overseas to visit Lita and Waterfront Drift Spa again. <3

Visited here from Arizona, about a month ago, we had high hopes for this place as it seemed very high -end. We started by checking in and doing a quick shell ritual before getting taken back where we would change into robes and slippers. You have access to the majority of the spa all day. We didn’t know that or else we would’ve planned ahead. Me and my party of 4 came in for scheduled mani pedis. One nail tech was incredibly rude and claims that she wouldn’t be able to do French tip for such and such reasons, however my sister to the left of me had no problems doing a French tip. It wasn’t until I asked the other lady “ how can she do French tip and I can’t?” She quickly replied “oh! Actually, I can! Sorry about that I can do French tip.” Okay? Threw me off. She was throwing mild punches and blows towards our appearance assuming we couldnt afford to be here. Very racist and classist. She made it very difficult to relax. She is pictured below. To say the least our toe nails as well as our finger nails polish came off not even less then 12 hours after getting them done. My sisters nails were chipping the minute we left. Our toenails didn’t even last the trip! I feel as though we get better service here in Tucson. So not worth the $400 we spent!! Would never come back!

I came here to celebrate my Birthday! The staff was really nice and professional. The sauna and steam room was spectacular! The massage therapist Chelsea was amazing! She really gave me a good deep tissue massage. My sister had a classic massage by her too and when she was done my sister felt so good she said she was floating in pure bliss! My mom got a massage by Georgina and she loved it as well! It was such a treat! Thank you all for the amazing experience!

My husband and I came in for a couples massage yesterday, the massage itself was pretty good but the whole experience was wayyyyy overpriced for what it was. The jacuzzi in the women's room was so foamy (which comes from contaminates not being cleaned out) grossed me out so much, I couldn't even be in there a full ten minutes. The steam room was broken in the men's room. There was no conditioner in the shower I used. My husband was also offered a juice before his massage for wellness month, I was not. These seem like littler things, but for close to 300 a person at a discounted rate...I should like at least have conditioner in the shower, seriously.

Last month I took a spa afternoon and had a facial and a massage. They were great. Professional and really enjoyable I felt taken care of and listened to. The spa emphasizes its commitment to assisting patrons in their self-treatment journey without claiming to diagnose, cure, or prevent diseases. Clients appreciate the consistent and private experience at La Paz Spa, noting the immaculate and zen-like environment. They praise the caring and knowledgeable staff for providing professional colonic cleanse sessions that leave them feeling physically and mentally rejuvenated.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when going for my first hydrotherapy appointment. I’ve had gut issues for a while and extreme bloated. I like finding natural remedies and prevention for wellness issues. I looked at many reviews and liked positive reviews I saw for La Paz spa. Debbie was very knowledgeable and kind. She put me at ease during the process. My results started to come the days after my appointment. I felt lighter and had more energy. The bloating started going away day 2. I’ll definitely be back soon for another appointment.

First time ever doing a colonic cleanse!! Love love, love Debbie she is so caring and patient! Debbie was professional and very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and Debbie taught me so much about colonics. Her spa is so immaculately clean and I will drive 2 1/2 hours again so worth it!! I got great results I don’t feel bloated anymore. Debbie your a beautiful blessing thank you for being such a caring and loving person. I hope to schedule at least once a month with 2/3 sessions. I will share LA Paz Spa with my family and friends ♥️

I've been taking my grandson to the La Paz spa in Seal Beach and Laguna Hills for 2 years for colon cleansing. Due to his GI issues, he's had serious constipation since he was a young child. He was diagnosed and treated at CHOC with Encopresis. It's not uncommon for those on the autism spectrum to have gut problems because they misinterpret the signals from their body. He's been followed by GI doctors his whole life. The only thing that worked long-term for him was high doses of Magnesium prescribed by a doctor that made life livable as he couldn't stomach the ethylene glycol that was prescribed, and it caused more accidents at school, not less, so it was worthless for us anyway. I wanted to try colon cleansing when he was young but hesitated because he was a child. When he became an adult and these issues were barely better, I researched nearby facilities. The facilities near my house actually referred us over to Debbie, the owner of La Paz spa, for several reasons, one she's a nurse, two she's been providing this service for years, three she has an open system. Ben needs special attention, and Debbie and Kim have become his real friends. They set him at ease from the very beginning. He asks for an appointment at least once a week, minimum. My only regret is that we didn't start going to LA Paz when he was 10 years old and was so constipated that he was having regular accidents. Mainstream medicine didn't give him this kind of relief. It's still a maintenance requirement, but it makes it possible for him to go out in public or to school without the awful worry of accidents or ending up in the ER with an impacted colon.

I have been coming for several years. I always receive the best treatment. When my aging parent became severely impacted and sick, I brought him in because the over the counter products were not helping. I had mostly worked with Debbie in the past but Kim took my parent (81yrs old). She was so helpful and made them at ease with their first experience. We did a three day cleanse every other day and are in the process of returning for upkeep. They experienced better mood, easy bowel movements, improved circulation and energy! THANK YOU LA PAZ!

I love coming here! I feel so much better when I leave - physically and mentally. I went in 3 times this week and happy with my results. My stomach looks flatter and I don’t feel so bloated. Thank you, La Paz Spa for always taking good care of me!
Aly L — Google review
I’ve only been going to La Paz with Debbie for over 10 years & in the mist of calling to schedule an appointment today I saw some reviews that were completely untrue. First of all I ONLY go to La Paz, not for convenience not for the price, but for the consistency & for the 1-on-1 relationship as this is totally private matter. They are beyond friendly, respectful and organized, but the place is ALWAYS Immaculate with a zen like aura. As far as the birds... I believe it’s a beautiful touch. To La Paz ... There’s absolutely no reason to even try to explain something that’s not wrong. What you do everyday for myself and your other customers health... we are grateful and that’s all that matters.

La Paz was an absolute joke and nightmare experience. First when I called to make an apt for a colonic, the woman I spoke too told me she was out of town, didn't get good phone reception and would get back to me. She didn't. After calling nearly 4 times I got through and made an appt. When I showed up to the office in Seal Beach, I found the lobby depressing and books thrown everywhere. The woman who greeted me didn't know my name and seemed disorganized. What was appalling was I heard a whole flock of birds yapping. It gave me a head ache and who brings birds into a healing office space? Seriously? So unsanitary, feathers and bird poop in the same space they do colonics? I walked out. I later learn that 3 other people had horrible experiences here. They use petroleum lube instead of natural coconut oil. It is an open system style which in my opinion is not sanitary. I later found OC SPA on Warner and Bolsa Chica in Huntington Beach and had the best colonic experience of my life by a PROFESSIONAL, extremely clean and knowledgable staff. Also they were $30 cheaper than LA PAZ. I do thank LA PAZ for their terrible service because i found OC SPA.. GO THERE .. if you care about a sanitary and relaxed colonic experience. LA PAZ should be closed down.

I went in on Saturday May 10, 2025 for a full body wax. Full arms, full legs, Brazilian and underarms. I have bruising from the Brazilian and on my arms from the bad job done. There are hairs everywhere. The job was done poorly. I don’t know if the lady was new to waxing but I have had a Brazilian before and it was not like this at all. I know the pain but it seemed like she doesn’t know how to do waxing. Left hair everywhere and did not do the anal part at all. Very disappointed. Having to pay $222 for a job that was just horribly done is the worse. Will never be going back to this Spa. European Wax did a much better job. My skin is now peeling wheee the bruises were located. There is still pain where the Brazilian was done. I am going to go to the doctor to make sure my skin is how it is supposed to be.

Rena, an aesthetician at Boost Spa, has received rave reviews for her personalized and attentive approach during facial treatments. Boost Spa was amazing thanks to my absolutely wonderful Aesthetician Rena. I had a facial with her that was absolutely amazing! I felt refreshed, relaxed, and left feeling so light and wonderful all thanks to Rena. She made sure I was comfortable, relaxed, and really made my experience feel so individualized to my needs. Thank you Rena you truly made my day and can’t wait to come back you’re amazing at what you do!

The experience here at the Boost Spa was okay, however I think having hidden fees in your pricing is extremely unacceptable. As a local resident in Newport (live across the street), I understand the culture of tipping. However, charging a mandatory tipping fee and not telling the clients ahead of time is not okay. The massage here is already very expensive, when I got into the room they tried to up charge me again for extras that I had already said no to when booking this appointment! Then after they charge me a mandatory resort fee and mandatory tip. Absolutely ridiculous. After the appointment, I went back through the website (where I booked) and there was no where that stated that this fee would be applied. I will not be going back to this place and this hotel needs to be more upfront about undisclosed costs. For the price: the vibe of the spa was nice and clean. The massage was nice, but again they tried to upcharge me before hand? No sauna or any other special part of this place except a shower and sitting room with no reading material. Very unhappy with this hotel and will definitely not be recommending to other people in the area.
