Scandinavian restaurant
Danish restaurant
European restaurant
Noma, located in Copenhagen, is a renowned gastronomic destination led by Chef Rene Redzepi. The restaurant gained global recognition when it was named the world's best in 2010, marking a shift in the city's dining scene. While traditional Danish dishes like meatballs and smorrebrod remain available, Noma symbolizes the transformation of Nordic cuisine with its emphasis on organic, locally-sourced ingredients without compromising quality.
Totally lived up to the hype. We went in skeptical and were immediately impressed. Easily top 5 for me after many many 3* restaurants. The food was fantastic but what really made noma incredible was the service and atmosphere. Everything felt like clockwork but also genuine and warm at the same time.
Alex S — Google review
Ever since I could afford to travel and try the best food in the world, Noma has been at the top of the list. For over half a decade, I have been trying to get a booking, no matter what season, and I’ve been panicked since I heard the rumours of their imminent closure. Despite all that, after years of trying, a booking for Noma 2.0’s Summer Season finally was in the cards. I was a bit skeptical going into this, with the expectation of it being the “best meal of my life” so far. I love meat, so I was a bit worried with the vegetable focused menu. Boy, was I completely caught with my pants down. Long story short, Noma does live up to its reputation and has claimed its title, in my books, as the best meal of my life so far. I think the careful consideration of the produce, the specialization of Noma’s fermentation techniques, as well as the attention to detail by the staff, truly showcases why Noma deserves the flowers it’s been getting for the better part of two decades. If we’re being nitpicky, the dessert courses were a bit lacking, with the second nut ice cream dessert doing the heavy lifting (absolutely a favourite dessert from recent memory). Speaking on the savoury courses, I’ve typically come to notice a pattern with Michelin/fine dining. There will be a handful of dishes that are pretty “meh”, a good chunk of “wow that’s good”, and maybe, just maybe one or two “holy that’s amazing”. Noma’s savoury dishes had a “holy that’s amazing” almost entirely across the board. I can maybe think of 1 or 2 that were “wow that’s good” and no “meh” dishes. To highlight my absolute favourites: the wasabi leaf bouquet, the rose octopus with peaso sauce, and my absolute favourite dish, the flower salad with caramelized barley koji. To further add to that, the service provided by the staff is bar none, the best we’ve received. From warm welcomes, enthusiastic explanations, and even making note of our pace and matching it accordingly, their attention to detail truly is one-of-a-kind I’m truly grateful to have dined at Noma and really understood how they’ve come to impact the food scene globally. I highly recommend making the journey here, I know that if I’m lucky to get a reservation for Game & Forest Season, I’ll drop everything to make it!
Edwin A — Google review
I have mixed feelings about my Noma experience. I have been following the restaurant and Rene Redzepi for some years now and dining at Noma was very high on my bucket list. After being on the waiting list for a while, we finally got a reservation which coincidentally landed at my birthday. My wife and I made a 2,000km (round) trip just for this dinner. The expectations therefore were high and excitement to the max. The location of the restaurant is exceptional, to see how a restaurant with this pedigree operates was an unforgettable experience, I was star struck by seeing Chef Redzepi in person. The staff take care of you from the very beginning until the end. The kitchen is an impressive machinery of people. The restaurant itself is beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The whole setting is nothing short of perfect. Now the food, our experience included 16 courses and wine pairing, I can recognize all the research, technique and passion put into every dish, the presentation, textures and flavors you encounter are special and unexpected. There is a big but though, for me food is a big passion and what defines the dishes I remember is ultimately the pleasure that they generate when I put them in my mouth and I have to painfully say, there was maybe one of the 16 courses that came close to that but not close enough. In summary, the box is ticked but the excitement and all the expectation was clouded by the failure to bring joy to my mouth.

A truly remarkable restaurant, which I cannot recommend enough. We were there for ocean season and as expected every dish was unexpected and remarkable. It was a very well balanced menu, with more experimental dishes balanced by more traditional dishes. We felt very at ease at the friendly and more casual atmosphere and we were truly impressed by the thoughtfulness, quality, fun, thoughtfulness, novelty and balance in the entire menu. The pairing was excellent as well. I cannot wait to see what happens next at Noma. Thanks!
Vincent M — Google review
Best restaurant I have ever been to. From the beginning you feel like a good friend of the restaurant - everyone is so nice and friendly in a very casual way. The food is something special and unique in a way which only Noma is making it. If you ever have the chance - grab it!

We were here for a pop-up event with ice cream and coffee as well as tasting of Noma's amazing creations. Following up on the pop up, we have now dined at Noma. We got the summer menu sitting at the shared table including 10 couples. This was a great experience, meeting different people from all over the world here for Noma! The settings are amazing! What a vibe! The team is the highlight! 60 employees working in sync, and in the center of the restaurant to serve 60 diners. The food was creative and attractive as well as tasty. But... If you are looking for flavors that wow you, I did not get that. It was more of a total experience and the story behind the food. Also, while the wine pairing was very good, the juice pairing was less so, with all but two of the juices tasting like watered down versions saving calories. At the end of the evening, drink still in hand we were taken on a tour of the restaurant. The tour ended at a door where we were shown out - we'll have to see if we can get a drink in the lounge another time. I want to thank the amazing team for being how they are! So many smiles, welcoming us and genuinely being there for the diners!
Benjamin L — Google review
A once in a lifetime experience. We were there for the first night of the summer menu and loved it. We sat at the shared dining table and it exceeded our expectations. It was lovely meeting people from around the world and experiencing the meal together. The food is creative, inspiring, and inventive. The wine pairing was fantastic and featured many unique bottles and winemakers. They also infused inspiration from their time in Japan throughout the meal and paired some dishes with sake. The staff went above and beyond during the entire meal. They also gave us a tour of the restaurant and Noma Projects after dinner. So grateful to have experienced Noma and meet all the staff that make the magic happen!

Fortunate to have scored a table at this famed institution for the summer 2025 menu. Warm welcome by the team and beautiful and comfortable interior. Menu had a lot of greens prepared in a variety of ways 🤯

Argentinian restaurant
Restaurant
Fuego is an Argentinean-style restaurant located in Copenhagen, offering a blend of elegant and intimate dining experience with authentic Argentinean street food and wine. The restaurant prides itself on serving the finest Aberdeen Black Angus steaks, providing a taste of local Argentinean beef. Situated near the Royal Theater on Holbergsgade, Fuego offers a warm atmosphere with rustic touches, including wooden and copper details and a large fireplace that creates a cozy Argentinian ambiance.
Highly recommended if you want to eat real food. We had the empanadas (beef) as the starter and then parrillada argentina as the main. For dessert we had the fondant. Everything was super good. $126 for 2 people.
Gabriel M — Google review
This was a complete fluke of a find. We arrived late in Copenhagen and needed somewhere close to the hotel so picked here. The ambience was cosy and warm, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. The space was pleasant without a horrible cold din which so many restaurants have. The staff were very accomodating when we requested to have our dessert and port by the fire - something we don’t get to do in Australia. The food was perfect - empanadas were tasty, crisp, perfectly seasoned. The steak tartare with its mustardy “ice cream” on top was absolutely BANGING ! We shared the mixed grill (cooked blue - although it would be ok medium rare - NOT any more cooked than that to keep the tenderloin moist and fresh), it was fantastic - perfectly cooked - with sides of a green salad and fries (which were perfect and crispy). Washed it down with an Argentinian Malbec which was perfect for the meal - people sooooo miss out not buying these wines ! The deserts were perfect. The fondant was PERFECT ! This was a faultless meal with great service in a beautiful ambience - noise levels were low, there has been a very considered use of surfaces in the design to manage echo’s. Excellent meal overall. Also… overall price includes a bottle of wine (good Malbec, 2x port and a cognac). Meal was probably about 500 Kroner. So actually good value for food.
Mark H — Google review
Nice upscale restaurant by the canal. The tartare is considered highly, but I've found better. Steak was on point. Everything was on point. Just saying, it's in the running for best tartare and was not.
John M — Google review
I always read the lowest reviews when visiting a restaurant. Fortunately, we were pleasantly surprised. For what is it and for what it serves, this restaurant deserves 5-star. Nice atmosphere, real-fire chimney in the muddle, nice grilled-meat smell welcomes the hungry humans. It can be even noticed while walking on the street. I took poulpo starter, it was great. The Argentinian wine was intense and a great surprise (Mendoza Malbec). Main dish: grill mix. The little piece of Tenderloin was the star of the evening!! Dessert is normal good.
Rony H — Google review
What a fantastic Argentinian restaurant! The food is simply wonderful, with beautiful starters and superbly well-treated beef. The service is way and above, truly brilliant. We highly recommend this charming restaurant.
Eran F — Google review
Very nice Argentinian steak house. It's pretty expensive, but steak always is. Choice of Rib Eye or Tenderloin or some mixed grill plates. The steaks are grilled to perfection. I went for rare. They have a lot of lovely wines, but also an Argentinian lager. Regarding steaks, it is about the quality of the meat. The dishes are simple: a steak, a sauce, and chips. It was delicious, and the fillet had a nice grilled flavour. I didn't like that they charged us 30 DKR per person for tap water; this is pure greed and should be included when you spend so much on food and drinks. Unfortunately, the chimney doesn't work; it has been broken for a few years now, which means they can not use the fireplace, which would add so much to the atmosphere.
Thomas O — Google review
Went here with my husband while we were in town and we got a few dishes to share (cauliflower, empanadas, ravioli, salad, octopus, etc). Everything was absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere. Service was good.
Yasaman S — Google review
We have been big fans of Fuego for the 6 years we have lived in Denmark. Tonight was our wedding Anniversary and of course we wanted to celebrate with dinner and drinks at our favorite restaurant. We had a reservation, but were sat in a far corner despite the early time and emptiness of the restaurant. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and our favorite dishes. The food was delicious. On par per usual. Our service was very, very poor and we felt ignored despite trying to be friendly and speak to our waiter. He took our order, removed our plates, and eventually asked if we wanted dessert. No water refills, no attending to our wine glasses, just pure bad service. We would have liked to enjoy another bottle of wine.....The other tables appeared to get service, where their waiter refilled their wine glasses and seemed very attentive. I am constantly recommending Fuego restaurant, Reffen, Broens, etc to others in person and on social media so I am extremely disappointed.

Scandinavian restaurant
Kadeau is a renowned New Nordic restaurant with two locations, one in the tiny fishing island of Bornholm and another in Copenhagen. The restaurant offers a creative 16- to 18-course tasting menu paired with wine, showcasing the charm, simplicity, smells, and fresh quality of the island's culinary delights.
We had an amazing 15 course tasting menu experience at Kadeau. From the beginning until the end the experience was unique! The ambiance, the people, the food with the wine pairing, the light, the decoration. Every single detail was thoroughly crafted resulting in a beautiful fine dining. Highly recommend it!
Alexandra M — Google review
This place should have 3 Michelin Stars. The experience was outstanding. Phenomenal staff. Incredible food. Exceptional story telling through each course and wine pairing. A very beautiful space with art and decor curated for the season. Would absolutely return.
Niall K — Google review
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. The whole evening was a sensory experience on a whole other level. Great stories around the ingredients, well presented, amazing flavours. For two people I recommend doing both wine pairings to get an even more diverse pallet of flavours.
Johannes S — Google review
The dishes were unique and inventive, featuring some ingredients we had never tried before. Not every dish was a standout, but they were all of a high standard. I appreciated how they prepared razor clams in different ways. I also liked the presentation of the salmon, and how they made snap peas the star of a dish. However, the non-alcoholic pairing was a bit pricey. The staff were charming. Recommend to have a table along the edge as the place can get quite noisy, it was hard to hear the staff's explanations if your table is in the center, surrounded by the chatter and laughter of other guests. This may not be a top-tier restaurant in terms of flavor, but if you're looking for something bold, this is the right place.
E M — Google review
This place was mediocre at best and that's not even considering the price. Service got worse as the night went on. They came on strong but it seemed that the staff cared less after the first 2 hours. For some reason our meal took 4 hours. We were waiting for long periods of time between plates during the second half of the meal. There are so many better restaurants in Copenhagen, don't waste your time here. Also almost every dish was seafood.
Michael S — Google review
Superb experience — the food and wine pairing is unparalleled — coupled with such a wonderful staff from the chefs to the assistants waiting on you at the table. Just watch out for the Galician who has a crazy but wonderful sense of humor. Loved chatting up the Italians who were both engaging and very talented.
Janine C — Google review
Very solid meal but 2x what it should have cost. We went to Noir two nights before in Stockholm (1 Star) and it was equally as good at less than half the price. Kadeau is a 5 star worthy place but at $1k/person, it was the most expensive meal we've ever had so it just pisses me off. I would say this meal was in the Top 25 of my worldwide experiences but definitely not in the Top 10 and all of those meals were much less expensive. Pic: The ant was intentional and interesting.
K. B — Google review
One of the greatest dining experiences I’ve had. This place truly has it all—exceptional food, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and I genuinely loved every moment here. Highly recommended!

Hamburger restaurant
Nestled in the charming Christianshavn neighborhood, POPL Burger is a delightful elevated burger joint that brings together the culinary expertise of Noma veterans. This unique eatery focuses on crafting mouthwatering burgers using organic beef sourced from free-roaming cows and handmade veggie patties, all made with locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. The team at POPL emphasizes quality and innovation, drawing inspiration from their experience in Noma's fermentation lab to create rich flavors that truly stand out.
Lovely location, small sitting area inside the shop but there are more tables outside. The burger looks very regular but after one bite there will be a smile on your face and you will understand how good the burger is. Buns, cheese, Beef patty, pickle, red onion, and the sauce is just perfectly right!
Nutt C — Google review
The burgers were great, the best one we have tried in the Copenhagen. Almost as good as Picnic mingle & fun burgers. We loved the spice mix on the fries. We took Danish ox tomato and stuffed courgette as sides dishes. Courgette was very good but the tomato was plain and didnt have that intense taste of late summer tomato, it was more watery. Before we came everyone recommended us to not miss a POPL desserts. There where two options on the menu, one summer berries plate with some ice cream and the other one elderflower souffle with berries and vanilla cream. We took souffle. It was ok, but nothing special. Maybe we expected too much from the dessert as lot of people mentioned it. It is still a burger place, and the best one in town
Karla B — Google review
Definitely a great experience and not the average burger place. Appetizers, starters, sides all of great quality and execution. We had the Cheeseburger and it was truly a great burger. Buttery, cheese, soft and crunchy at the same time. The meat was cooked rare and only grilled from one side, which is fine for me, but probably a challenge for many people. 1 minute longer would have improved the experience for me, but overall it was super nice. I can also recommend the cocktails.
Markus M — Google review
We were excited to come, but we left a bit disappointed. The burger was fine, though nothing special (150 kr!). The fries were great, but had way too much seasoning. The small dip was 30 kr, which I could accept, but 65 kr for a half pint is just wrong. Not recommended.

SO delicious! Everything we ate was amazing - but I must say the gazpacho was off the charts good! Beautiful to look at as well! Highly recommend trying popl - but go hungry! You don’t want to miss anything!!
Sophie H — Google review
As a cheeseburger lover, I’d say it was an average burger. The meat and cheese were actually good, but we found it way too greasy. The overwhelming taste of oil in everything was a bit off-putting. After placing the order, it took about 15 minutes to prepare.
M T — Google review
You have Two options to taste this juicy burger; restaurant or to-go shop. You had better reserve your seats for weekends at the restaurant. For pick-up shop, you need only 10-15minutes if they’re not Busy. It’s definitely better than the other popular burger 🍔 grill chain and %20 more expensive. Limited indoor seating for pick-up shop. Very helpful team. All sauces are extra (even ketchup). They’ve pickles as different alternative to others’.

What an amazing place by the waters. Food is much better than at Nyhavn which is too touristy and expensive. This is a short walk from Nyhavn and totally worth it. The burger here was amazing and also the cola that we had. The vegetarian burger is also surprisingly good which tasted like meat. Nice and lively vibe around this place. There's outdoor seating as well which is great. Loved it.

Steak house
KöD Vesterbro is a renowned steakhouse with multiple locations in Denmark, including one in Copenhagen's red-light district. The restaurant offers a luxurious dining experience featuring some of the world's finest steaks and an impressive selection of wines. The knowledgeable staff is on hand to provide recommendations and ensure a memorable meal. Guests can indulge in delicious starters, steaks, and desserts, with options like NY strip-loin and rib-eye cooked to perfection.
We had dinner at KÖD Copenhagen, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and intimate — dim lighting, cozy seating down in the cellar, and a calm buzz of conversation that made it feel relaxed yet refined. I ordered the striploin steak with fries, Caesar salad, bearnaise sauce, and bread — everything was spot on. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, while the fries were crisp and golden. The Caesar salad added a fresh balance, and the bearnaise was smooth, rich, and perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly and professional without being intrusive, and the pacing of the meal felt just right. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and enjoy quality food in a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended for anyone who loves a proper steakhouse experience in Copenhagen.
Jørgen D — Google review
I went to KöD with my workplace and enjoyed a dinner featuring a few smaller servings and an all-you-can-eat main course. I thought all the smaller servings were fantastic—we had tartare and shrimp. The dessert was also really good. The main course was okay. Some of the meat cuts were super juicy, delicious, and nicely prepared, while others were chewy and, in my opinion, overcooked. I’m not a big fan of all-you-can-eat (but most of my colleagues are big men, so I guess they liked it that way 😅). Honestly, I would have preferred a single, high-quality steak instead. The drinks were great. I tried 4 different drinks and they all tasted good.
Anne L — Google review
Delicious food! Service was a little slow and from start to finish, it definitely took us about 2 hours for the meal from appetizers to our dessert. The main/entrees themselves took about 30+ minutes to come after our appetizers were served. Overall, great experience and thank you for treating us well during our Copenhagen visit!
Jennifer K — Google review
We had okay experience at Köd Vesterbrogade. We booked a birthday dinner for 4 and when we arrived, it took more than 5 minutes for the staff to notice us even though the place was empty and the staff had enough time to chat and laugh around. We ordered welcome drinks that they brought before the entire party arrived so they just stood there for 10 minutes. Then the service was quite fast and we were finished in less than 90 minutes. The steaks were ordered were below average. The meat was full of fat and even medium rare stake was too tough to cut or chew. I expected better quality for the price and hype. The sides were very good. That said, I would not come back.
Anna — Google review
We were sat in the very back end of the basement which felt quite odd. Be sure to ask for nice seats when you make your reservation. Had the Sunday roast. I had tried it before in London and this one was a lot better and flavorful.

KÖD Vesterbrogade – Honest Review from a Meat Lover During my vacation in Copenhagen, I had dinner at KÖD Vesterbrogade. The restaurant had a warm, stylish vibe with dim lighting, dark tones, table lamps, plants, and even a Greek-style pillar near the entrance. We were seated near a staircase, which was perfectly fine — though my steak knife was dirty upon arrival. It was removed but never replaced. We ordered a bottle of Primitivo di Manduria, which paired well with our meat dishes. Bread with spicy herb butter was served, and a staff member theatrically scooped salt into a small bowl at our table — a fun little detail. Starters were tuna with avocado and steak tartare. Only the tuna came out initially, and the tartare followed 15 minutes later after we mentioned it. Both were delicious: the tuna was fresh, the tartare had a firm texture with a sharp edge. For the main course, we shared the KÖD Experience (rare): • Wagyu A4 (150g, Japan) • Tenderloin (200g, Uruguay) • Ribeye (250g, Uruguay) We skipped sauces to taste the meat in its purest form. The Wagyu and tenderloin were fantastic. The chili fries we ordered on the side were way too spicy — even for someone who enjoys heat. It became overwhelming and slightly uncomfortable. The service was friendly and timely overall. After the main course, we were offered a break before dessert, which we appreciated. For dessert, we had the classic crème brûlée (served with raspberry ice cream and cookie crumbs) and the Everyday Sundae (strawberry ice cream with whipped cream). Both were decent and nicely presented. Some small improvements — cleaner tableware, better timing, and more balance in seasoning — could easily lift this to a 4/5 overall. The quality of the meat is definitely a highlight. If you’re in Copenhagen and looking for a good steakhouse, KÖD is worth a visit.

Delicious steak close to the perfection. And delicious side dishes. A very good experience and can definitely be recommended in spite of too high prices.

Marchal, located in Copenhagen's Hotel d'Angleterre, is a Michelin-starred restaurant with a rich history dating back to 1755. The culinary love story of Jean Marchal and Maria Coppy has evolved into a luxurious dining experience under the helm of Austrian Head Chef Christian Gadient. Combining Nordic and French influences, the menu offers an array of fresh seafood, Danish produce, and an impressive Champagne selection.
If only every fine dining establishment could learn from Marchal. The chef spoke with me personally to help me choose the best dishes based on my dietary restrictions and appetite. The carrot appetizer was spectacular and scrumptious. The turbot entrée was delicate and perfect. I was surprised with a fabulous dairy free dessert. In addition, I was delighted by the fresh mini loaf of sourdough and the excellent olive oil from Spain. The staff were friendly, helpful, patient, professional. If you have a chance to have a fabulous dinner in Copenhagen, be sure to dine at Marchal!

Visiting a Michelin-starred restaurant comes with certain expectations, particularly regarding service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this establishment fell short in multiple areas. While the 6 course tasting menu was pleasant but far from exceptional, it failed to stand out compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants I’ve dined at, particularly in London. The execution was solid, but it lacked the ‘wow’ factor that distinguishes truly outstanding fine dining. Service was inconsistent. Simon, our main waiter, was exceptional and truly elevated the experience. However, the rest of the staff felt unenthusiastic, grumpy, and unwelcoming, which significantly impacted the atmosphere. Certain service elements were lacking, such as failing to remove crumbs before serving dessert and *not properly folding the napkin when stepping away from the table, both of which are standard expectations in refined dining. Additionally, the table initially offered was next to the open kitchen, which posed an issue. The ventilation was inadequate, leaving diners at risk of walking out smelling like barbecue… an oversight that could easily be corrected with proper extraction systems. Fortunately, we opted for a window-side table, which provided a much more enjoyable setting and a lovely view over the square. Overall, the experience was average, not memorable and if not for Simon’s outstanding service, it would have been a thorough disappointment. Michelin recognition should come with a standard of excellence not just in food, but in ambiance and service.

We went to celebrate our anniversary in Marchal. Frankly, we were expecting a bit more. Service was excellent and the restaurant is located in a beautiful location, at Kongens Nytorv. The food was beautifully presented in a very precise French style with Danish ingredients, and was very good, but not excellent. However, price was reasonable for a 1-star Michelin restaurant.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner here. My husband had made the reservations several months in advance as we knew we would be in Copenhagen for our anniversary. The restaurant Marchal is located in the historic Hotel D’Angleterre in the city center. The building is gorgeous both inside and out with a fascinating history. The restaurant is quite elegant and people were dressed accordingly. We had a wonderful server who started us with champagne and worked us through the menu with recommendations and answering questions. The restaurant is highly French influenced and the dishes reflected this. Fish, shellfish and caviar figured heavily into our selections, though they are highly known for their duck and other dishes as well. We chose the Danish Turbo fish, that was in season, as our main and it did not disappoint! The fish was mild and perfect and the sauce incredible. Our appetizer choices included salmon cones with caviar and lobster knuckles. For desert, we chose the traditional Crepes Suzette which was prepared table side. It was wonderful with the vanilla ice cream. Our server was wonderful and we enjoyed speaking with her about the food and local ingredients used. She was very warm and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience.

Recommendations: -Starters: 🥟Raviole of Langoustine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh ingredients yet too salty. 🦞Blue lobster with marinated tomato ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing taste but the portion of tomato could be bigger. -Main Course: 🐔Poulet Au Vin Jaune ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not creative but still very tasty. 🐟Poached cod ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The garnish and the sauce are just perfect! 🫎Venison Pithivier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best of all!! Deluxe version of beef Wellington, a must try. As an art of the table, the dish was partitioned beside the table for the guests. -Dessert 🫐Blueberry and buckwheat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not too sweet it’s my highest compliment.

You don’t go to Michelin star restaurant for bread - but this brioche was best bread in my life😀 The duck they cook in front of you was exceptional, prepared in front of us and finished with a rich sauce made from the duck’s blood pressed in a traditional way. Staff were nice and attentive. In the end of the night a guestbook was given to us with notes from people who dined here before, it’s an amazing idea as I’m looking forward to come back one day and find message I’ve written 🤭 That was a truly memorable Michelin star experience.

Found our way to the Michelin starred Marchal restaurant. Service was excellent. Food great although smaller portions which is expected of a Michelin restaurant where it’s more about the quality, presentation and taste. Always a pleasure being served correctly and our questions answered
Glyn S — Google review
Long story short: this experience fell well short of what one would expect from a Michelin-star restaurant. First misstep: the service lacked coordination. We ordered white wine with the appetizers and red with the mains, yet the red wine was decanted and poured long before the white even arrived. The situation was awkward and easily avoidable. To their credit, the waiter did apologize and made an effort to correct the mistake, but the lapse in communication set the tone for the evening. The foie gras canapé was disappointing - served too cold, with a “crust” that tasted like plain white bread. Rather than enhancing the foie gras, it dulled it. The sourdough bread was serviceable but unremarkable - dense, and lacking the refinement and lightness expected at this level. My blue lobster appetizer was the most concerning. The intestine tract was still intact in the tail - a basic oversight that simply shouldn’t happen in a Michelin-star kitchen. When I mentioned it to the waiter, the kitchen’s response was that there “might be some tender parts” and that they “could not identify what it was.” That explanation felt dismissive and unprofessional. The dish was removed from the bill, but the handling of the issue fell below Michelin standards. To be fair, the lobster itself tasted quite good. Still, these early missteps - especially in service and attention to detail - undermined the experience before the meal had a chance to recover. The rest of the dinner, including the venison main and crêpe Suzette dessert, was well-executed and pleasant, but by then the impression had already been shaped. Overall, the atmosphere didn’t help redeem the evening. The dining room felt sterile - no music, little warmth, and a formality that bordered on uncomfortable. Service, while polite, lacked genuine hospitality; it felt procedural rather than personal. At this level, one expects a sense of ease and flow, but here the mood was cold and stiff, leaving the impression of a place more focused on maintaining appearances than on creating an enjoyable dining experience. I’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, and while not every meal must be flawless, there’s a certain grace and attentiveness that defines the best of them. Unfortunately, this one missed that mark in both execution and atmosphere.

Argentinian restaurant
Restaurant
Asador Restaurant in Copenhagen is known for its high-quality Argentine steaks grilled according to age-old traditions. The cozy basement setting next to the canal at Christianshavn adds to the rich South American flavors that can be tasted in every bite. While some may find the pricing reasonable for the amazing food and service, others might not consider it affordable. The menu features tenderloin, ribeye, lamb, potato puree, and mushrooms, complemented by a selection of wines.
A lovely place with a very warm and cozy atmosphere! I really appreciate the service there, everyone is very kind and helpful! The meat tastes amazing, and it is a great plus that you can choose how well done it is. Next time I will try it a bit more to the rare side. The bread that is being served with the starters is divine! In addition there are all the basic cocktails to choose from if you don't prefer wine. It is a very expensive place, probably because of the very good meat, so we visit rarely but when we do we really have a blast! The interior is beautiful and calming to the eyes. Overall it is a very good place for meat lovers!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Copenhagen. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your meal. The service was excellent: very attentive and friendly. The food was a solid 10/10 from start to finish. Everything I tried was perfectly executed. I highly recommend the beef empanadas, the chorizo, and the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes.

Upscale, elegant, and absolutely worth it. Asador delivered on every front—an exceptional Argentine dining experience from start to finish. Every dish our group ordered was outstanding, and the wine selection was just as memorable. Though we were a loud and rowdy bunch, the staff was gracious and welcoming throughout. Having Spanish speakers in our group helped deepen the connection, but even without it, the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a classy establishment, and the prices reflect that—but so does the quality. We lingered long after our plates were cleared, enjoying good conversation in a beautiful space. Thank you for having us—it was a meal to remember.

Atmosphere of the restaurant lets people focus on talking with each other amd enjoying the food, so excellent! 100% recommended to meat lovers!

Best cozy restaurant to taste Argentinian food! We came by for dinner last Sunday (always better to make a booking online just in case). We were 2 sharing a set menu la boca with some delicious empanadas, we tried the meat and mushrooms one and we also add some mollejas which were super good! The parrillada is a perfect size for sharing, tasty and fulfilling. We also drunk some malbec Argentinian red wine by the glass. For dessert we shared the dulce de leche crème brûlée, we loved it and thought it was a super creative way to do it. And the flan with bit of a citric flavor. Definitely a place we recommend and will come back every time we want to feel closer to home 🇦🇷

Absolutely amazing food! Every piece of meat was perfectly cooked, tasty and juicy. The sides were delicious and filling. We loved the provoleta, the mash, the bacon wrapped, mushrooms and even the fries. Refills on water were fast and the cocktail was large and strong. A great meal for price. It could get noisy, and was quite hot inside. The servers were attentive and delivery was quick. From diners who spent many meals in Argentina, we were pleased with this experience. Compliments to the chef, staff and management.

Alouette is an innovative restaurant located in the Islands Brygge waterfront neighborhood of Copenhagen. The relaxed setting offers tasting menus and wine pairings that showcase the chef's expertise in creating eclectic dishes inspired by seasonal produce from local producers. The restaurant is known for its unique sauces and regularly changing menus, featuring dishes like caviar with sunflower seed fudge and intricately plated creations.
A truly outstanding culinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. The tasting menu was beautifully presented and explained, thoughtfully designed to make the most of top-quality local produce from selected farms. The menu focused on products from four different farms. The first part was vegetable-based, with flavorful vegetables and greens. The second part featured two dishes centered around monkfish, both of excellent quality and taste. The third part was centered around pork, using the product to its fullest, and the final sweet courses were the perfect ending to the meal. Each dish offered a refined and original combination of flavors, with meticulous presentation and exceptional ingredients. The wine pairing was spot on and very well explained, complementing the food perfectly. One of the highlights of the experience was the service, which was not only warm and attentive, but also presented each dish with care and professionalism

Michelin star experience I will never forget—easily the best dining of my life. From the moment we stepped into the serene courtyard, guided in warmly by the staff, Restaurant Alouette delivered something far beyond food. Jackets taken, preferences noted (including special care for my pregnant fiancée), and we were seated for a journey that felt like stepping into a living, breathing kitchen symphony. The service was extraordinary—a hive mind of grace and timing. Staff moved with quiet precision, each person playing their role without ever feeling rehearsed or robotic. They simply flowed. We chose the non-alcoholic pairing, and I genuinely believe it’s the only way to go. Each house-made juice was crafted specifically for the course it accompanied—from a shiso-plum pairing with milk bread and bone broth, to combinations so perfectly tuned you forget wine was ever an option. Why drink something generic when the restaurant is giving you Michelin-starred creativity in a glass? Now, the food. 14 courses, each remarkable, but the main dish of braised rib and pork loin stood out as a masterclass. It was rich, balanced, and beautifully elevated by its surroundings—juices, sauces, the bread, the company, everything. You don’t eat here. You experience here. But what made the evening unforgettable was the personal touch from the team. One staff member casually asked what brought us to Copenhagen. We mentioned a martial arts camp—no big deal. But soon other staff were greeting us like legends: “Oh! You’re the martial artists!” “Wait till you meet our chef—he trains too!” Then after dinner, in the lounge for tea and treats, the chef himself emerged like an old friend, arms open, exclaiming “You’re the brown belt in jiu-jitsu?” (A detail we never even shared. The back-of-house detective work was top tier.) We laughed, chatted, shared passions—and it was clear: this staff genuinely enjoys connecting with guests. As if that weren’t enough, I later complimented another staff member for sharing cool trivia about the table design—and it turned out he was the owner. He sat with us, spoke warmly about the vision he and his wife brought to life, and left us feeling less like guests, and more like participants in something truly human. ⸻ In a city overflowing with Michelin stars, I couldn’t be more grateful this was the one we booked. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an evening we’ll treasure for a long, long time. Thank you, Alouette. We can’t wait to return.

We visited Alouette for the first time as a group of four, and it was an unforgettable evening. The entire experience was beautifully curated – from the atmosphere to the exceptional service and, of course, the food. One dish that truly stood out was the zucchini with caviar and Champagne sauce – an elegant combination that was both delicate and rich in flavor. Every course was a delight, but that one was simply unforgettable. The service was equally impressive. Our Hungarian waiter was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel very well taken care of throughout the evening. His friendly and professional demeanor added a lot to the overall experience. Alouette delivered on every level – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Madklubben Grill offers a changing menu of classic and modern bistro dishes in a stylish setting. It is renowned for its iconic steak offerings, with perfectly seasoned steaks and delicious sides like mashed potatoes with bacon and onions. The restaurant has recently upgraded its menu to include even tastier grilled dishes, providing a flavorful journey for food enthusiasts. Visitors have praised the tender, flavorful steaks cooked to perfection, along with the creamy mashed potatoes and friendly service from staff members like Jacob.
Excellent! Travelling from the US, we were in the city <24 hours so did not prepare for an evening out and was surprised when alot of restaurants in the area were booked. Unfortunately several places denied us because we did not have a reservation. Came to this restaurant and I’m so glad we found it! Upon arrival there was a great guy (I think Jacob) who was very friendly, greeted us and got us a table right away without hesitation. Food was excellent and the prices were reasonable given the food quality and preparation! Very cool set up as well, open concept kitchen where you can see everything is homemade and the sauces - chef kiss! I heavily rely on Google reviews when picking new places so felt the need to give them a nod!

Another steakhouse in the city center with less crowd. You'd simply get value for money. Main courses are served in quite a big portion. Order the bread and butter while you wait for the food. There could be more choices of the meat from different parts and sources to choose from.

The food was of high quality but not to my taste. Place was very clean and beautiful. Service fine, however one waiter kept talking Danish to the others at the table (7 people in total) while talking English to me (on multiple occasions) - probably assuming that I, as the only brown person on the table, did not talk Danish. At a finer place like this in central CPH, I find it highly important that a waiter reads the table and familiarize one self with the custommers before jumping to any conclusions on language etc.

Lækker mad til en god pris med en god beliggenhed // Food was very good and tasteful, lobster was delicious and so was the rest of the food. Atmosphere was a bit too loud and crowded. Staff was very friendly but also seemed in a rush. Prices are good and all in all it was a good visit.

We were only in Copenhagen for a couple of days, but we're lucky enough to stumble on Madklubben while out searching for somewhere for dinner. The entrance was very warm and welcoming and the host very accommodating, despite being very busy, he found us a booth downstairs. Our drinks order was taken swiftly and arrived shortly afterwards. For starters my partner had the caesar salad which was perfectly fine with homemade croutons, and I had a wonderful steak tartare which was seasoned and balanced to absolute perfection. For mains we shared the chateaubriand, which was cooked perfectly, but if I was being very critical it was hacked rather than sliced. However it was delicious and very tender! We had a selection of sides, the duck fat fries were delicious but that duck fat didn't really shine through, the ponzu and yuzu dressed pak choi was delicious and the onion rings were crisp and nicely seasoned. My partner's pepper sauce wasn't to either of our liking unfortunately but it didn't overshadow a wonderful meal. A great meal, in a beautiful setting in a city we both fell in love with.

A nice place with a good location. Would gladly revisit. Reason for not 5 stars is that eventhough the food is great and reasonably priced (my steak was well done, despite ordering medium), it is in pretty hard competition and you will find similar place in Copenhagen that does just a tad better that don't mess up a simple steak

Høst is a stylish restaurant in Copenhagen that offers a rich and intensely rustic dining experience, blending modern trends in New Nordic cuisine with Danish design. The dining room features white walls and rustic wooden tables, creating an interesting blend of design-oriented creativity from the food, interior design, and dinnerware communities. Despite minimal interior decoration, Høst has received three international design awards and is part of Cofoco, known for bringing Scandinavian soul and simplicity into its food and decor.
Absolute gem of a restaurant! It’s a set menu but they do surprise you with some extra courses. The potato was the best thing ever. Overall really enjoyed the menu, unique flavours and textures. Highly recommend making a booking and stopping by. Perfect for a moody date night

Høst was one of the restaurants we were excited to visit in Copenhagen; We had heard so many great things about this place so we made sure to book in advance. The restaurant is part of the Cofoco group, who are known across Copenhagen for their modern Nordic restaurants that focus on sustainability, local produce and beautiful design. Høst embodies all of that; it’s stylish yet relaxed, with lots of natural light and greenery throughout, which gave it a calm and stunning atmosphere. The greenery actually reminded me a little of Vækst, and even the way the sauces were poured over the dishes- I love sauces, so that definitely doesn’t bother me! The menu showcases modern Nordic cuisine, focusing on what's in season seasonal with lots of creative combinations. We went with the five course menu; every very dish was fresh, beautifully presented and for me, delicious! I loved all of the surprise dishes and palate cleansers that came out in between courses. The only dish that didn't blow my mind was the lobster; lacked the wow factor, but that is just my personal taste. My personal highlights were the scallops and the hake; both were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! They also offer matching wines or wines by the glass, but since we’d had a few too many the night before, we went with their local kombuchas, which were amazing and paired beautifully with the meal. They do cater for food intolerances and have a vegetarian menu, which is great if you’re dining with a group. Compared to their sister restaurant, I found the experience here to feel more elevated; nothing felt rushed, and the service was spot on. Unlike some others experiences, the team explained everything with care and made sure we always had enough water and were enjoying ourselves without ever feeling over served. I’d absolutely recommend booking a table if you’re planning a trip to Copenhagen.

We had the five course dinner, and were very pleased with the experience. The restaurant is beautiful and filled with thriving plants. The food presentation is as beautiful as it was delicious. The menu was innovative and the food fresh and courses went well together. We had the lobster, and it was the best we’ve ever had and unique with the sauces and greens to complement the fish. All servers were knowledgeable and helpful, but Elizabeth, our main wait person, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Wish we were closer to become regulars.

I had an excellent experience at Host Restaurant with the 5 course menu. The chefs did an amazing job turning simple ingredients into something that tasted incredible. Every dish had great textures and flavors that worked so well together. You can tell a lot of care went into each plate. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the presentation to the pacing of the meal. Great experience!
Diana T — Google review
Great modern rearrangement of Nordic food. Unique and flavourful. I would have enjoyed it if the servers explained each dish as it was served. They are very knowledgeable when we did ask! I am a bit of a faster eater so the pace I found slow. We were there for about 2.5h for the 5 course meal (including waiting for the bill). I believe about 2h total would have been perfect.
Brandon L — Google review
The atmosphere is both rustic and elegant – warm and relaxed, yet refined. The food is creative and flavorful, with bold combinations of tastes and textures. For my palate, some flavors were perhaps a bit too intense (for example, cauliflower with truffles or thyme with mussels), but everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The desserts were outstanding – a perfect way to end the meal. Just as a beautiful glass enhances the enjoyment of wine, I would have appreciated cutlery that felt a little less rustic to balance the overall impression.
Marina J — Google review
Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere! We ordered the 5 course menu and highly recommend it! They have multiple “surprise” dishes throughout the courses which were nicely timed and very good. The mussel soup was incredible and the lobster entree. Only thing I would change is the beef entree was very large and hard to cut. I think the overall flavor of the dish would benefit from a reduction in the amount of meat served. Also request the back room if possible, there is greenery everywhere that adds to the cozy feeling.

Modern American Steak House MASH is a great place with delicious food and stunning decor. It can get a bit noisy but it's definitely worth a visit.
Went there at lunch time and it was almost empty, with just 2-3 tables filled. Service was top notch with the waiter being super friendly (also very cute) and helpful, especially with menu and wine recommendations. Steak is cooked well with a nice char, which gives good taste and texture. Red wine that the waiter recommended was top class and paired very well with the steak. The creme brûlée dessert was also very indulgent.

Absolutely incredible experience. Our waiter knew the menu inside out and beyond. He recommended an excellent selection of wine. Amazing service and delicious food. I had the Canadian tenderloin—probably the best steak I’ve had in years. Oysters were super fresh and yummy. Tasty cocktails. The atmosphere was good, a lot of space inside the restaurant. This is definitely a place I’ll come back to again.

We ordered a medium-rare American steak, and it was perfectly cooked tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The presentation was beautiful, the service was attentive, and overall it was a great experience. We were there for a special occasion, and also had the chance to try their unique burger made with Wagyu beef an absolute highlight! The flavors, the presentation, and the warm, sincere attitude of the staff made the evening even more enjoyable. Definitely a steakhouse I would choose again. Highly recommended!

MASH has quite a hype, which is why I was curious if it can live up to my expectations. And it did. The steak was very good and cooked very well (but rare). The mac and cheese and the truffle fries were rich, flavorful, and indulgent. Every bite of this meal was fabulous. And whatever you do, don’t skip the Mash sauce or creme brulee. Oh. Em. Gee!

Stopped in with a small group of colleagues. We were impressed with the atmosphere and tried a little bit of everything. Oddly enough the only thing I wasn't completely happy with was my steak, which I suppose isn't a good sign. I ordered a dry aged ribeye and it was not a great cut. I've enjoyed dry aged meat before and it had quite a bit of flavor. This one was fairly devoid of flavor and had quite a bit of unwanted parts of the cut.

Fine place to dine if you have deep pockets. Meat was well cooked and tasted great. Wine list goes on and on but the cocktail offers are poor and has one brand of so-so vodka. Service is good.

Geranium is a renowned Nordic terroir restaurant located on the 8th floor in Faelledparken, Copenhagen. The restaurant offers panoramic views of the park and the city skyline. Led by award-winning chef Rasmus Koefed, Geranium provides a unique dining experience with its high-concept cooking and multiple-course tasting menus. The elegant design and spacious tables complement the exquisite dishes that challenge diners' senses.
The food here is absolutely delicious. It’s a 3-Michelin-star restaurant located inside a stadium. The atmosphere is open and airy, creating a relaxed and pleasant vibe. The staff are very polite and friendly from the moment you arrive. The dishes mainly feature plant-based ingredients, vegetables, fruits, and fish. Each course is creatively composed, full of surprises in both presentation and flavor. The taste? Undeniably outstanding. While dining, you can watch the chefs in an open kitchen carefully plating each dish, a performance in itself. The full experience lasts a little over three hours. After the savory courses, the staff will take you on a short tour including exclusive areas such as the private rooms, wine cellar, and kitchen. The meal concludes with a dessert course and a lovely gift bag to take home.

Simply incredible. It’s clear why Geranium won the #1 best restaurant in the world a couple of years ago. Please do yourself a BIG favor and get the juice pairing. It was the best pairing I’ve ever done (and I’m including done dozens of wine and NA pairings). Flavors of both the pairings and within the dishes themselves were executed at a level I didn’t know was possible, especially for so many veggie dishes. And I truly enjoyed everything. There wasn’t a single dish I felt like they missed on, which I can only say I’ve experienced a couple of times, even at 3 star restaurants. 10/10 - can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Copenhagen.

An unforgettable dialogue between flavor and soul. My dinner at Geranium was nothing short of extraordinary — and I have to say, the wine pairing was the best I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant so far. It wasn’t just about complementing the dishes — the pairing elevated each course to another dimension entirely. From the very first bite of Oysters in crispy algae, the meal began like a whisper from the ocean — delicate yet powerful. The lightly smoked bleak roe balanced gentle smokiness with a milky, comforting depth — a true Nordic poem. Later, dishes like King crab with pickled pumpkin and the celeriac & truffle “soup” showcased stunning balance and harmony, both in flavor and texture. But the wine pairing was the soul of the experience — every glass was chosen with such precision that it didn’t just match the dish; it completed it. The acidity, aroma, and timing of each pour felt like a symphony written for the palate. Every element — pacing, light, service, and even tableware — reflected Geranium’s mastery. It’s not about extravagance here; it’s about the quiet power of nature, clarity, and emotion.

This dinner is on my top 10 favorite dinners. It was worth every penny :) Book it :) they definitely deserve their 3 stars. I really enjoyed every aspect of this dinner,I chose the juice pairings and each one went very well with each dish :) Just a fantastic experience all around. Plus the kitchen overlooks a soccer field, (get the tour of the restaurant) the wine cellar and private dining area Just a stunner of a restaurant you have to see it!!!

Dining at Geranium years ago left a lasting impression, from its striking design to the unparalleled food and service. The memory of my 12 course tasting menu is as fresh and inspiring as ever. The meal was a masterpiece, with each dish showcasing an incredible dedication to food and menu creation. The plating was an art form, and the way the chefs paired aromas and flavours was simply brilliant. The team's commitment was especially impressive—I had the pleasure of meeting some of the kitchen staff who were genuinely enthusiastic and deeply committed to their craft. Their dedication and creativity were evident in every dish. I recently tried to book a table but was unable to, which was a huge disappointment. This has only fueled my excitement to return in the coming months, and I'm confident that Geranium's pursuit of excellence has only continued to evolve.

Dining at Geranium in Copenhagen was truly the most exquisite food and dining experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was world class. The service was outstanding—extremely personalized to each table—and what really stood out was that the chefs themselves presented the dishes they cooked, explaining every detail with passion and precision. Every course was a work of art, and many were among the most incredible dishes I’ve ever tasted. To top it all off, we were given a behind-the-scenes tour of the restaurant, including the wine room, private dining room, the football stadium it’s connected to, and the kitchen—an inspiring glimpse into the artistry that makes Geranium so special. Yes, it’s expensive, but the experience is worth every penny. A special shoutout to Niels, one of our waiters, who went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, Geranium is absolutely unmatched.

Dining at Geranium was the most interesting and amazing experience we’ve ever had at a restaurant, and we hope to come back someday. Thank you for making our wedding day so special—we are so grateful to you. We were graciously squeezed in to celebrate our wedding here, and we have never had such an incredible dining experience. The ambiance was lovely, it felt intimate yet spacious. The service was absolutely unparalleled, unlike anything we have ever experienced. Everyone seemed excited to celebrate with us and very invested in providing a memorable and special celebration for us, they even wanted to take a picture with us. We felt welcomed and well cared for the entire time. The paper menu was beautiful, as was the printed note for the gifted wine pairing we received from a relative. One of the staff showed the room how you open a wine bottle with port tongs, which was fun. We love to cook, and one of us works in the food industry, so we were excited to learn about the dishes and the wine. All our questions were answered, and we learned a lot. The tour was interesting as well. The food was exquisite, the dishes were inventive and unique; we still think about them. Dietary restrictions were carefully considered and met. We especially enjoyed that the chefs who made the dishes came to our table to explain them. The wine pairing was delicious and very generous.

It's truly a 3-star restaurant, if not the best in the world (they got best a years back 🤭) Everything is nearly to perfection , from service, wine, and food. It was very pricey but worth it a try. But to be honest, I'm not sure that we will go back to this considering the ROI

Gasoline Grill is a unique burger joint located at a petrol station, offering an unexpected twist on the drive-in experience. Known for serving some of the world's best burgers, it offers reasonably priced combos that include a burger, fries, and a carbonated or alcoholic drink. The famous cheeseburger is made with fresh ground organic beef and served in a potato bun with cheddar, raw onion, pickles, and their signature mayo sauce.
You need to come to the original location of Gasoline Grill in Copenhagen to instantly understand where their name comes from. They serve burgers in the former shop of a downtown gas station near Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. Interestingly, the place is still a functioning gas station to this day. You can fill up your car, or charge it, while waiting for your burger. The gas station is fully automatic though, no need for a cashier. That’s how the famous gas station burger occupied the former shop area and is serving probably the best burger in Copenhagen. There is a limited menu in Gasoline Grill, but I think that’s just how a great street food burger place should operate. We tasted the two most iconic ones, original burger and cheeseburger, and prefer the latter.

A solid North American–style burger in a fun Copenhagen setting I had been looking forward to trying this place after seeing a video on YouTube. I love the whole concept behind the Gas Station burger joint — a stylish nod to North American burger culture — and they definitely nail the vibe. As a North American myself, surrounded by some of the best burgers in the world back home, it’s always a fun experience to try the European take on a “classic” burger. But I’ll be honest: most of the time, it ends up feeling like a much more expensive version of a budget comfort food I already have access to regularly. That said — this one was a standout. If you’ve never had a proper North American–style burger and you’re in Copenhagen, this is a fantastic place to start. I had a soft, fresh buttered brioche bun, sharp orange cheddar, a classic burger sauce (think Big Mac style), sweet pickles, and a perfectly grilled, pink, juicy patty. Super well-balanced and satisfying. Final thoughts: Is it a revelation for someone from the U.S. or Canada? Probably not. But it’s a damn good version of a familiar classic, done with care and quality ingredients. If you’re craving a legit burger in Copenhagen, this place will definitely hit the spot.

Best burgers in Copenhagen is an understatement. The line at this one was quite long but service was quick and efficient. Some seating outside. Butter burger was really good, as was the cheeseburger and vinegar fries. Lemonade not amazing but refreshing. Price quite high but worth it.
Yasir — Google review
Good quality burgers, but nothing that really stands out – there are plenty of places serving equal or even better burgers. That said, the atmosphere is cool and unique, as the food is prepared in an old gas station that’s still in operation (gasoline, diesel, and electric). The setting definitely adds some charm. We waited around 10 minutes for our food, which was reasonable. Worth a visit if you’re nearby, especially for the experience.
Björn A — Google review
After really enjoying our first visit to another branch, we decided to try the original Gasoline Grill. This one is located in an actual gas station with outdoor seating, which adds to the charm. Since we weren’t too hungry, we shared one Butterburger. Honestly, we preferred the cheeseburger we had at the other branch, but this one was still very tasty. The patty was cooked a bit more than we usually like, but it wasn’t dry at all. Definitely a spot worth trying.
Oğuzhan G — Google review
Definitely worth the 30-minute wait for a simple yet outstanding burger. The juicy, flavorful meat really stood out. Seating is limited, but there’s something fun about grabbing a burger from a gas station and eating it on the spot. A must-try when in Copenhagen!
Batuhan A — Google review
Their hamburgers are very delicious, made with high-quality meat. The fries are also very tasty, and the drinks are good too. It's no surprise it sells so well. In the evenings, there's a very long line of people, and you have to wait for an hour, but it's delicious and worth the wait. The restaurant only has one or two tables for dining in.

We had to try the burger after hearing The New York Times call it the best in the world—and it totally lived up to the hype. We got both the hamburger and the cheeseburger. Super simple, but that’s what made the amazing beef and perfect grill flavor stand out even more.

Floras Café & Steakhouse is a modern establishment that offers both steakhouse and café dining experiences. It's a spacious venue where reservations may not always be necessary, and it serves breakfast, brunch, burgers, and other dishes until midnight. Guests have praised the restaurant for its delicious food, including shrimp cocktail, caprese salad, grilled salmon, pasta with sirloin, steaks cooked to perfection, sides, sauces and dishes.
We made a reservation the same day as the restaurant gets very crowded on weekends. The food was excellent! The steaks were cooked to perfection and all the sides, sauces and dishes were delicious. The service was also fantastic, our waiter was really nice and gave us brilliant recommendations of wine and places to see in Copenhagen. It was a wonderful and delicious dinner! I highly recommend it.

We ended up here after the restaurant we originally wanted was fully booked, so we wandered in from the main street and had a look at the menu. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and they gave us a great table—cozy with a candle, which was a nice touch. The menu had a good variety, and it seemed like most people were ordering the steak or going for the two or three-course set menu. My friend ordered the chicken and mushroom pasta, and I went for the ribs with a jacket potato—though they’d sold out of jacket potatoes, which was odd considering they only offer fries or jackets as sides. The ribs came with chips instead, but they were incredibly salty, soft, and greasy—I couldn’t eat them. I honestly think I could do a better job at home getting the ribs crispy and tender. When I asked about the ribs before ordering, the server said they were barbecue-style, which sounded promising, but the flavour just didn’t match up. The server was kind and offered to take the dish away when he saw I wasn’t enjoying it. I then ordered the leek and potato soup, but sadly that wasn’t good either. My friend’s pasta tasted really nice, but the chicken in it looked unappetising and she didn’t enjoy it overall. Unless the steaks are genuinely amazing, I wouldn’t recommend this place for anything else. Service was a solid 10/10—but the food? Can only give a 3 out of 10!

The restaurant seems quite traditional, had a steak which was good, and partner had chicken fillet, well cooked and still moist. Service was outstanding. Not used to the prices in Copenhagen but seemed very reasonable.

Beware of huge portion size. The waiter recommended us to get appetisers, in addition to the mains, and then we couldn’t finish half of our food. We felt very bad for wasting so much food, and then he told us we shouldn’t have ordered appetisers. But we asked how big the portions are, and he said not very. This is disappointing, if you care about environment. Nice food, but will not visit them again.

Aamanns 1921 is a renowned restaurant in Copenhagen, known for its traditional and contemporary Danish cuisine. The establishment offers a variety of classic dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, but it's most famous for its creative take on smorrebrod, an open-faced sandwich. The signature dish features grilled sirloin with fried eggs, mushrooms, and roasted pumpkins and is considered one of the best in the city.
I went with a local friend, and it’s clear why this place is so well-regarded. They specialize in smørrebrød, the Danish type of tartine with varieties for every taste: fish, meat, veggie. They’re also very accommodating, offering gluten-free and lactose-free versions of their smørrebrød. A special bonus: they even have their own Aquavit (Danish schnapps), which adds a nice authentic touch to the experience. The staff is lovely and the restaurant is spacious, though I’d still recommend making a reservation.

We had the 8-course tasting menu. Apparently the dishes were designed by the restaurant to be shared. This concept worked reasonably well for the starters, but it did not felt right for the main course, which was unfortunately served cold. Overall, the execution of the menu didn’t quite meet our expectations. The service was warm and professional. However, our table was placed in a corner and we were often overlooked, which made it difficult to get the staff’s attention at times. All in all, a mix of thoughtful ideas and good service, but the experience didn’t fully deliver.

The shrimp open sandwich is heavenly good! Even the shadow is artistic! I wanna go back and try it again It’s weird though, that although there are empty seats, walk in guests were told that it was fully booked. Until I finished my meal, the seats were still empty. Maybe they thought everyone wanted a 2-3 hour proper dinner so there wasn’t enough time for that.

An excellent restaurant that caters to all tastes. It’s very well priced compared to some of the other restaurants in Copenhagen. The desserts are a must try, especially the one with Danish chocolate on brioche bread.

Had an amazing time at Aamanns! Trying the Smørrebrød for first time and it was delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. They have the option for lunch menu which I choose. It lets you choose 2 savoury Smørrebrød and one sweet. I had the traditional salmon one ofcourse which was excellent and very fresh and they kindly also made the chicken salad one without bacon. Will definitely visit again if I am ever back to Copenhagen.

charging 70dkk for water is a lot. Food was good but overpriced. Them not giving a full basket of rye bread for the most expensive thing on the menu also feels insane. Especially because you are allowed to get more but they have to serve it to you like you are getting meat at a buffet is not a classy experience. I wish they would not do the random efforts to make more money when they already charging 200+ for something that cost them 25dkk to make. The salmon is the best on the menu btw to anyone who might be reading this. She also seemed a bit weird about me tipping 40dkk but I just don't think we have tipping culture in Denmark so I just did cause she didn't do anything bad. She seemed stressed out tho. I will end by saying that the cook is very gifted but that I think other aspects are lacking.

What a stunning restaurant - modern, elegant, and filled with natural light. Aamanns 1921 was recommended to us by a Danish friend, and as visitors from Australia, we were very pleased with our experience here. The food was outstanding - beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Our waitress was not only attentive but also very knowledgeable, taking time to explain the dishes and share insights. It was a true fine dining experience with a Nordic twist. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Copenhagen!

One of Copenhagen's best restaurants and premier for special events. Impeccable service with chefs delivering and explaining each part of the tasting menu. The number of courses is almost overwhelming, but the staff allows you time to experience it. You may be here 2-4 hours and if you choose the tasting menu, have plenty of room and eat very lightly the day of your reservation. Dishes are creative and complex, with each dish arriving like a work of art. Some bites are sublime, and others take you through degrees of savory. Ancient ingredients are reimagined. We chose the wine pairing, which is 5 different wines after the champagne opener. It was an incredible experience and perfect for our anniversary. Highly recommend for memorable experience.

Food and flavors are solid without much effort on making some intricate pieces on the plates. The baby pine cone desert was surprisingly good. We were really amazed by the building. I wished we knew more about the history of the building. The construction of the ceiling must be very difficult - the geometry and symmetry looks perfect to me. And, the food matches up the architect. We were told "It's an old building". We knew Copenhagen is an old city, but we didn't expect there to be so many really well preserved "centuries old" buildings and city blocks.

This is our favorite restaurant in Denmark! Dining in the basement of Motke Palace was priceless. The staff made sure we felt comfortable throughout the night. The courses were Nordic based diet, simple but not boring. I tried turbot for the first time. It is a very fishy type of seafood, and they prepared it so well as the main course. I had no issue appreciating the main dish.

I am so happy to have been here for the opening night of their new restaurant space. Absolutely unbelievably good meal, lived up to all expectations. This is the one restaurant that I have been to in the last several years that I believe is underrated, even though it has 2-Michelin stars. The space is wonderfully pointed in clean with such elegant design choices. The food is second to none, obviously, each dish was just perfect. All of the wait staff were polished and friendly and genuine in their interactions. I had some very nice one on one time with several members of the staff because a|o|c had a very limited seating on this opening night. After spending a week in Copenhagen, this is surely the meal of the trip. I will look forward to watching this restaurants progress, and hopefully visiting again in the future.

Grød is a popular spot known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The menu features tasty bowls such as the All In Bowl and Acai bowl, both of which are generously portioned and flavorful. Additionally, the fresh juices and acai bowl come highly recommended. Whether you're craving a vegan porridge or a classic option with apple, roasted almonds & caramel sauce, Grød has something for everyone.
📍 Grød, Copenhagen What can we say… we must be your biggest fans When I arrived in Copenhagen my sister knew our very first stop for breakfast had to be Grød. There was no hesitation, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped in, the space had that signature Scandinavian coziness, clean design, soft lighting, warm smiles from the staff. It instantly set the tone for a calm, nourishing start to our day. We tried the following: ✨ The Green Bowl 💚, an absolute celebration of freshness. Every bite tasted like health, but in the most delicious way possible. ✨ The Overnight Oats 🥣, creamy, chilled, and layered with so much texture. The oats were rich yet smooth, and the toppings added bursts of sweetness and crunch. Comforting, energizing, and exactly what we needed on a warm Copenhagen morning. The food was a 10/10, but honestly, the experience was more than just breakfast. The vibe here is relaxed, wholesome, and inviting, making you want to linger with your bowl a little longer. The staff were kind and attentive without ever being overbearing you could feel that they truly care about the food and the people they serve. As visitors, we were so grateful for a spot that felt both authentic to Copenhagen’s food scene and welcoming to travelers. For anyone looking for a place to fuel their day, whether you’re a local popping in before work or a tourist discovering the city, Grød is the definition of starting your morning right. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re bringing the whole crew to try even more bowls. Thank you, Grød, for being everything we needed and more 🌱✨

As a tourist from Ukraine, of course, it was a bit expensive for me. But if you compare in general with the prices in Copenhagen, then +- normal prices. The dish was very tasty, the place is spacious, there were few people in the morning in autumn. Only my plate was cracked, but maybe it all goes into the atmosphere of the place, I don't know🤪

Had breakfast here after being recommended by several people. I have to say they were not wrong. I had the porridge 1, and it was one of the best I ever had. Fresh toppings, right temperature and texture. The bowl may look small, but remember that it is porridge, that will fill you up. The hot chocolate was alright, nothing special but not bad either. The staff was very nice, and the place was very cozy. The price is not too bad for Copenhagen, I recommend it if you are looking for a more budget friendly breakfast in the city.

This review is written in a state of utter frustration and disappointment. We just left Grød after well over an hour of waiting for our food that we never got. The 3 teens who were working had no understanding of the words customer service and no awareness of their surroundings. After waiting for over an hour we finally got up to ask about our food. They looked at each other helplessly and said they “lost the order”. This is a very small space and we were sitting in plain site so how they didn’t come to realize that we hadn’t gotten our order is mind boggling. We asked for a refund and left in anger, frustration, hunger, disbelief, and disappointment, as we were really looking forward to what might have been a good meal. I would not recommend this place due to abominable service alone. (Also, we ordered a beer when we arrived and when we took it out of the fridge it was room temperature. When we asked the young girl who rang us up if they had any cold ones because this one was warm she said, “no, we just put those in there”. Mentioning that when we ordered it would have been helpful.) Very frustrating experience.

Lovely place for breakfast with excellent coffee and the best porridge I've had outside of home. It really is that good! I had the porridge 1 with apple, roasted almond and caramel sauce, delicious. JATAK is a highly sought-after restaurant in Copenhagen that quickly earned a Michelin star after its opening in early 2022. Chef Jonathan Tam showcases his culinary expertise by infusing top-quality, seasonal Danish ingredients with a captivating Cantonese and Japanese twist. The ever-changing tasting menu highlights one main element per course, featuring intense flavors such as umami-rich mushroom broth and shoyu-brushed raw scallops.
This was just outrageously good. Though the flavours were totally unique, it really felt like eating at a Cantonese restaurant, where everything was delicate and showcased the ingredients used in a really considered way. A highlight was the rabbit dish, which involved an immense amount of labour but the outcome was a deceptively simple dish that delivered on all the best parts of eating a rabbit and none of the bad. The hindsholm pork broth + char siu, Norwegian scallop and Fjord shrimp were also highlights among a meal that really didn’t miss on any dish. Not to mention that the service was super personable, engaged and worked hard to enhance our time there. This was easily a top 3 meal we’ve had in Europe and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back, knowing that their seasonal approach would probably deliver an exceptional but entirely different experience next time.

I had an absolutely lovely dinner at Jatak. It only loses a star for being overpriced for sure, especially compared to my dinner the following night at Høst. Don’t be confused, it was a great meal and my seat at the counter was fascinating. If you are looking for a fine dining experience in Copenhagen that has some availability, check this place out! I got duped into ordering the juice pairing, which was actually pretty good. I was there for the Solar Menu and my favorite course was probably the Wagyu heart. Although the surprise Madeline’s that finished the meal were delicious as well! Thank you for a lovely evening

Really fun and cool experience, such a sleek and vibrant restaurant with excellent service. We loved certain parts of the menu but overall was a great meal. Our favorites were the lobster croquette and the buckwheat noodles in tomato juice with chili oil and served with fresh tomatoes with beef heart wagyu, just something we had never had before and was delicious combo of flavors. A little expensive but a fun experience nonetheless.

We truly enjoyed our diner at Jatak, seating at the bar and enjoying seeing the action. I particularly loved the Asian/ Cantonese flavour. The tiny shade is what seemed like little conflict between some of the cooking staff.. open kitchen means we can hear and pick up on everything. But nevertheless a wonderful diner. Thank you

Visited in October 2025. We had the 10 course.solar menu with the 7 glass non-alcoholic pairing. Both the food and the drinks were generally interesting, although some dishes were better than others. The lion's mane mushroom and the main course were delicious, and the mille crepe was very good. The other dishes had good quality ingredients and were prepared with care, but their taste and/or texture didn't fully convince me. From the juices, the Muri and the apple-based juice were my least favourite, but I liked the other ones very much. I also liked the service, which was friendly and professional, but also more relaxed than in other Michelin-starred places I've tried. The staff seemed knowledgeable and gave a good impression. I liked the restaurant as well, it was nice to see what's happening in the kitchen, and the noise level was reasonable. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and appreciated the experience, even though the food was a bit hit and miss.

Loved! Jatak owner Jonathan Tam, if you’re sitting at the counter, can be seen with the Jatak team preparing the dishes. I would have said hello but didnt want to impose plus they were all hard at work and attentive preparing. Food and Jatak team are both wonderful! I did the solar menu. Food is amazing — flavorful, presentation beautiful. My (Chinese) parents are upset I liked Jatak’s char siu more than theirs. The mix of Danish and Chinese-infused dishes were great. The team was very thoughtful. Although I didn’t mention it, when they found out it I was there for a birthday trip, the whole team — including Tam — quickly snuck in a few understated birthday gestures, which I very much appreciated. Also great for solo diners. Easygoing, bright, friendly vibes all around.

We came to Jatak to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, and I cannot praise the experience highly enough. Every element was flawless from start to finish. The wine and food quite literally blew us away, each course a perfect balance of creativity, precision, and flavour. Every member of the team we encountered was warm, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. The head chef and the entire team at Jatak have created something truly exceptional — an experience that goes far beyond a meal. Thank you for giving us a night we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Restaurant Koan, which opened in 2020 as a pop-up by Chef Kristian Baumann, has now found a permanent home in the old Relae. Combining Nordic cuisine with his Korean heritage, Baumann presents visually stunning dishes such as langoustine wrapped in nori with rhubarb and caviar. The menu also features unique items like braided milk doughnuts and mandu dumplings stuffed with fjord shrimp and Korean chili sauce.
Interesting dinner! Best thing about the evening was the menu progression. It was planned in a genius way and it totally makes sense once you completed it. At the start, the snacks were good and fresh, but didn't have a wow factor. Then we received the oyster and it was quite nice, maybe a slightly wow factor. At this stage i was worries, is this place all bells and whistles and they forgot the flavours? I was wrong, because from there every dish just kept getting better. The caviar ball was possibly on the top 2 best things i've ever eaten, EVER. The bread was amazing, the main courses were to die for. I was a little hungry by the time the main course arrived. But then it was this very comforting big bowl of rice with all this delicious bits and pieces in it. It was trully fantastic. Desserts were 10/10, there is caviar in the dessert, matched with a beautiful Souffle! WHATS NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THAT! What a treat. I think about this meal everyday and can't wait to be back!

Dining at Koan was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We enjoyed the full tasting menu and savoured every bite. Each dish was beautifully crafted, balancing Korean roots with Nordic ingredients in a way that felt both deeply personal and incredibly refined. The sommelier’s wine recommendations perfectly complemented each course, and the evening service was flawless, attentive, warm, and thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The attention to detail extended far beyond the food: even the coffee, brewed with April beans and weighed with precision, reflected the team’s steadfast dedication to craft at every level. Koan is not just a meal but a carefully orchestrated journey that reflects Chef Kristian Baumann’s story and vision. It is an absolute must for anyone seeking one of Copenhagen’s finest and most memorable dining experiences.

My wife and I have dined at numerous high-end Michelin-starred restaurants, but I can confidently say that this experience stands out as the best thus far. Chef Christian skillfully combines Korean and Danish cuisine, drawing from his extensive culinary journey. Each dish was prepared with the utmost care and presented at an exceptional level. The staff were all friendly and professional. (Please tell me if i should delete the menu photo if you want to keep it as a surprise for your guests) Thank you for the exquisite experience. If you find yourself in Copenhagen, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit; do not think twice.

Certainly some amazing dishes and some just okay and you may leave still a bit hungry if you have a large appetite. Service very coordinated and nice that the chef visited every table to greet and make you feel welcome. As other reviewers have said they seem keen on selling expensive champagne so may be more of a spot to show off considering the price.

Probably a meal on our personal top 3 ever in Copenhagen! The last time we had a meal with balanced, fantastic flavours, exciting new aromatic combinations and a wine pairing that blew us away was at Geranium. This restaurant outperforms many Michelin stars restaurants we have been to!
Jens C — Google review
It's a wonderful experience. Korean based 2-star Michelin restaurant. Some of the tables (near the entrance) have a great view of the open kitchen, allowing to witness the preparation of the dishes and the immaculate choreography of kitchen and service staff. Service is very friendly and attentive. The chef is very present, keeping a very attentive look to customers for the best experience, very customer-centric. The dishes are immensely creative, with many intricate details, textures and flavours. We accompanied the meal with a Sool mixed pairing, alternating Sool and non-alcoholic beverages. Probably the best option as we felt a purely Sool pairing would be too heavy. Wine, Prestige wine and Champagne pairings are also available. Judging from what the neighbouring tables received, they seemed like good options too. We felt that Sool was more fitting to the occasion though. Overall a very positive experience, only slightly disturbed by a noisy table, but admittedly not something the restaurant can do much about.

Restaurant Savana is a steakhouse located in Kobenhavn, Denmark. They specialize in cooking black Angus beef from Uruguay to perfection, offering a theatrical experience for diners. The owner, Mr. Dawoud, puts on a culinary show and keeps guests entertained with his humor. The tenderloin is cooked perfectly and served with devil sauce that complements the steak well. While it's on the pricey side, visitors love the overall experience and would come back for more.
An excellent steak restaurant, the owner and chef named David welcomes the guests himself with a smile and offers something to eat. We were 3 diners and he offered us and we agreed to eat a large piece of tenderloin for the three of us at a cost of about 400 Danish crowns per diner, as a first course we received a rich and very tasty tomato soup with a stunning pesto sauce and warm bread and some salad and fried fish. After that, the meat arrived by the chef himself who served it to us at the table and cut the big piece for our plates, the meat was very soft and very tasty, the three of us could not eat the whole piece. In total, we paid about NIS 230 per diner, including a soft drink. An excellent culinary experience.

Welcoming and hospitable service and delicious food. Get the Savana Special and you won’t be disappointed—comes with warm bread and tomato soup, fried prawns, fries and a perfectly cooked tenderloin with 3 sauces to choose from. I will most definitely be back.

From start to finish it was a theatrical experience, all done by mr dawoud himself, he put on a culinary show that kept us entertained and very funny man. The fresh bread with the soup I could probably have that and be happy! The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and to top it off the devil sauce just complimented the steak! Chips were cooked beautifully and were very nice. I wasn’t fond of the prawns! It’s on the pricey side but I loved it so would come back.

We got the tenderloin menu. You get bread and an oil based “pesto”, a starter of your choice, main, two kinds of potato and sauted vegetables, and a wide selection of sauces. Their bread and “pesto” was nice and so were the sauces. Starters weren’t the best and meat, while decent, seemed like less than the promised quantity. Overall it is okay, good place to visit if you want an affordable steak experience, but not if you want a good steak experience. The fact that the meat wasn’t amazing, and quantity was less than expected, while there weren’t really any good sides to go with the meat and fries weren’t great makes it so I won’t go again for steak. Generous with their sauces which were nice!

Great pre-service, delicious homemade bread along with butter and homemade pesto. The meat takes long time to be served, which is normal. Everything was good despite the high prices. If you are into meat, it is not very peculiar. El carne fue bonito pero no fue espectacular. Sin embargo, este restaurante es recomendable para todos o con o sin familia.

Restaurant
A Hereford Beefstouw is a glass-roofed restaurant with an open-air terrace that has been serving steaks, grilled fish, and draft beer since 1975. It offers a unique dining experience that combines high-end steak and wine with art, service, and design. The restaurant is known for its tender, juicy steaks made from top-quality beef. Guests have praised the perfectly cooked steaks, crispy fries, and rich bearnaise sauce.
This was hands down the best meal we had in Copenhagen. All the dishes we had tasted amazing and the waiters were very kind and professional. The setting is also really nice with lots of natural light. The house Porter was also very nice. The only down side was that there was only one alcohol free beer on offer.

A Hereford Beefstouw , Copenhagen After a long day exploring Copenhagen on our last night, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal at A Hereford Beefstouw, a steakhouse located by Tivoli Market. Arriving around 5 pm, we were starving and ready for what we thought would be a high-end dining experience. The ambiance didn’t quite scream “luxury,” with no noticeable dress code, and the service felt rushed. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, and we were warned it might take 10–15 minutes just to order drinks. We settled on the house red wine (315 kr / £35), as the rest of the wine list started at £70+. The wine was fine but nothing special. Starters: • I had the beef tartar (95 kr / £10.50), a delicious blend of flavors with egg yolk, tarragon mayo, beetroot, and cress. Highly recommend this dish! • My dad chose the lobster bisque (125 kr / £14), served with scallop, pickled apples, and fried capers. He also enjoyed it. Mains: We all opted for steak, the highlight of the meal. • The sirloin steak (250g) (225 kr / £25) was cooked perfectly across the board. • My dad’s ribeye (275g) (295 kr / £32), while tasty and well-cooked, was disappointingly small for the price. Sides & Sauces: Sides are ordered separately, and this is where things went downhill. • My potatoes with chestnuts (45 kr / £5) arrived cold, while the fries my parents and Tim ordered were warm and crispy. • The roast carrots with rosemary and yogurt (45 kr / £5) were flavorful but freezing cold, as if they’d been sitting out too long. • The extra sauce - garlic butter (25 kr / £2.75), which was divine. Overall: While the steaks and starters were excellent, the service was slow, the sides were a letdown, and the prices felt unjustified for the overall experience. We couldn’t help but think about how much better value we could get at restaurants back home in the UK. That said, Copenhagen is known for being an expensive city, and this restaurant certainly reflects that. If you’re craving steak in the heart of the city, it’s a good option, but don’t expect perfection or exceptional value for money.

The place was under renovation which ruined the atmosphere a bit. However, they gave everyone a free complementary beer as a compensation which was really nice. Service was very good, but the food was mediocre at best. A bit too pricey for mediocre food imo.

Upon arriving , we were told “ there is a 10-15 minute wait for food , please find a seat and someone will be out shortly “ after 25 minutes we asked the waiter to take our order. Fast forward an hour and we still hadn’t even had our drinks! We had to ask for these to be brought out. Food & drinks finally came at the same time over an hour after ordering and the cherry on the cake was they didn’t even bring us cutlery so we had to ask for this too. A complete shambles. The restaurant had 2/3 tables including us so it’s not like service was stretched. Food was good but the service was appalling.

From Macedonia in South to Norway in North this is by far THE BEST MEAT that we ever tried. The stuff are very friendly, polite and know how to treat the guests. Unique form for ordering the dishes where you write on the paper initials , what type of dish etc so there's no risk for confusion. Fresh homemade bread with butter before the main meal. The meat speaks for itself, so good prepared tender and juicy full of flavour and tastes absolutely AMAZING even the kid tried the beef for the first time and was amazed. Highly recommend this place when you are in Copenhagen

I was looking for a restaurant to dine at during the Friday Rock event at Tivoli Gardens and chose to make reservations here. The service and food were very good. I went with a Gin Rose cocktail, tried Beef Tartare for the first time, and also ordered the 200g Sirloin steak with a side of fries. I was too full and did not partake in dessert but they do feature a nice dessert menu as well. All in all, my meal came to around 535 Krones which was roughly $80 USD.
Peter H — Google review
The restaurant has multiple entry points from within Tivoli & the other side facing the road. The food quality was truly very good be it the starters such as grilled bread with whipped butter, short rib croquets, mini Caesar salad…..when it comes to mains the steak was really of good quality & cooked to desire as request. The deserts on the other side are mediocre with the crème brûlée standing out for me although not generally a fan. The atmosphere is really nice, the place feels very spacious with lots of natural light (not all areas). When it comes to the staff they were all very helpful & responsive. However, the communication with clients wasn’t always consistent. For example the first person I met helped me out when I explained I’d only eat a tenderloin by saying he’d ask the chef but then another lady came afterwards & unknowingly told me I could not order a tenderloin during the lunch time but backed off when I explained to her colleague had already asked the chef & he agreed. It would be much easier for them to have a simple clear rule (by the chef) to everyone to prevent confusions or frustrations. Once again the staff were collectively GREAT & I will definitely come again but my note is to improve the little things fly hassle-free experience for all :) I recommend this place! P.S: I liked the whipped butter which comes with the grilled bread way more than the herbal butter which comes with the steak IF l your order it as extra!
Omer M — Google review
This place, Hereford BeefStouw has topped my list of best steaks to have. I have no idea how it was made, but all I can say is that they know their steaks and they know how to do it to perfection. The smokiness, tenderness, cut of meat and taste were all on point and almost made me order another serving, if we didn't have our itinerary to check off. As this outlet was along Tivoli garden, there was another outlet we ate at a couple of days prior, which was at Stroget. Both times, the quality of the steak was done to perfection and as a steak critic - I had absolutely no criticism for their culinary perfection.

KöD is a steakhouse in Copenhagen with top quality meats and a gluten, dairy and egg-free meal. They also use large flake salt, which gives them a high rating in the book! The steak was very good as was the side dishes. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they took care to please any requests made for food without seed oils.
From start to finish, this place delivered an exceptional dining experience. The carpaccio was a flawless opener — tender, fresh, and beautifully seasoned. The crispy broccoli was a surprisingly addictive side, perfectly roasted with just the right bite. Also the tacos 🌮 were good to go. We went for the KÖD Explorer to try a variety of cuts, and it was an excellent decision. The absolute highlights were the Wagyu — rich, buttery, and perfectly cooked — and the tenderloin, which was impressively tender and packed with flavor. The ribeye was decent, though slightly overshadowed by the brilliance of the other cuts. Service was warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The team made great pairing suggestions and timed every course perfectly. If you’re a meat lover in Copenhagen, KÖD is an essential stop. What an amazing find!! We were greeted by a friendly trio of people (Voldomore, Lorus and Joe) who made us feel welcome and informed us about the food and wine on offer. In the end we went for the "CÖTE DE KöD” and Friesas a sharer between my wife and I. Before that we had some fresh bread with a very nice tarragon mayo dip which was really nice. The Steak which is what we were there for was out of this world, had I been on my own I would have gone full “When Harry met Sally” the cook was a perfect medium-rare with a slight char and the fat on this well marbled cut was melt in the mouth soft and salty. Well done KöD! I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Copenhagen!

The service is extremely slow. The meat is good, but it arrives at the table cold because it takes so long to be served, and it is very salty. Even though the restaurant is not full, the service takes more than 60 minutes. The appetisers arrive after the main course, and you can eat the potatoes and salad once you have finished the meat. Go somewhere else; it's not worth paying money to be treated badly.

I’m honestly amazed that this place can survive in Copenhagen. My wife and I are on the carnivore diet and just ate steak at multiple locations in Czech, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden before arriving in Denmark. By no means have we only hit the best steakhouses in each country/major city. Last night we ate at the Vesterbrogäde location. It was the worst meal of our entire trip/ the steak was cooked wrong, not even close. We ordered medium rare and got well done. We also ordered a chicken main course for an appetizer, that was supposed to be lightly breaded and what we got made KFC look like a lightly breaded chicken. There was literally no meat for the equivalent of like 21 euro. There’s no way I would recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. In fact avoid it at all costs. I politely complained to the server and sent the chicken back (obviously without eating it) and the manager came out without even seeing the dish we sent back and informed us there was nothing they could about it and we would have to pay. Not only terrible food but horrible service. They are batting 1000. Bummer as it’s a really cool place, that’s clearly what poor management will do for you. Again consider this a warning. Go someplace else!

Restaurant Radio is a Nordic restaurant located in 2011 near the old broadcasting house and city lakes in Copenhagen. The establishment offers organic and Nordic cuisine, with ingredients sourced from organically cultivated fields just outside the city, as well as from local hunters and fishermen. The menu features over 80 different crops and emphasizes plant-based produce. The restaurant is known for its reasonably priced meals and beautiful plants, creating a delightful dining experience in Copenhagen.
Restaurant Radio delivered an unforgettable December menu that took us on a journey from the very first taste of the tasting menu to the final bite. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, with every flavour and texture perfectly balanced—truly nothing was left out. The wine pairing was spot-on, enhancing every course, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Update 13/05: I have not received any response on the email I had send on April 25th, as per instruction in the reply of this review. -------------‐----------------------------------------------------- Based on the many positive reviews, we were genuinely excited for our evening at Restaurant Radio. The idea of enjoying modern Danish cuisine really appealed to us—especially since Nordic cuisine isn’t something you come across every day (even in Copenhagen, funnily enough). Upon arrival, we were greeted politely and asked to walk to the back to hang up our coats ourselves. Right away, we noticed an odd smell lingering in the restaurant. We suspected it was coming from the bathroom, even though we were seated across the room from the door, which had been left open. After closing it ourselves, the smell improved slightly but returned every time someone went to the bathroom. As for the food—unfortunately, this is where our disappointment truly began. We opted for the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairings, hoping for a memorable dining experience. Based on the photos we’d seen online, our expectations were high. Sadly, the food didn’t live up to the visuals. Course 1: Tomatoes in a shrimp sauce with some crunchy elements that turned out to be shrimp scales. While the flavor was okay, we were confused by the absence of actual shrimp. We were told the scales were intentional and meant to add texture, but we found them unpleasant (and sharp…). Course 2: Potato. This dish was fine with an acceptable balance of textures and flavors, though nothing particularly special. It was an improvement over the first course, and for a moment, we thought the initial dish might have just been a misstep. Course 3: Halibut. Visually impressive but overwhelmingly salty. While we’re no strangers to seasoning, this was excessive. The fish itself was good and the grilled elements added nice depth, but the large chunks of spring onion were difficult to cut, forcing you to eat them whole. The wine pairing helped cut the saltiness slightly but wasn’t enough to redeem the dish. Main course: A celeriac “steak” served with just a few berries. The texture was pleasant, but overall it felt more like a side dish than a main—lacking both substance and balance. Dessert: Apple compote. Decent, but nothing memorable or particularly exciting. Unfortunately, the wine pairings were also underwhelming. Not only did they fail to complement the dishes, but they also weren’t particularly enjoyable on their own. AND to top off, they refilled our half full waterbottle without asking and charged another 35kr for this and we ended up with another half full bottle. All in all, we left feeling disappointed with the overall experience. With mostly glowing reviews and an intriguing concept, we had hoped for so much more. Sadly, it just didn’t live up to the hype, and we felt compelled to share our honest experience.

If you’re looking for a place with hospitality and flexibility - avoid this place. Very rude manager of the restaurant. We politely asked if we could bring along our small (6kg) dog - they didn’t reply to our email request. When we showed up, assuming that this wouldn’t be an issue, they told us they are too busy to respond to all the emails and requests they receive. And they denied access. When we asked for the rationale, they first said it would be against the Danish law to bring dogs to restaurants. This is clearly not true. Then they admitted it’s their own policy that dogs are not allowed at their place. So we asked to get a place in a corner of the restaurant. Their response: no exception to the rule. And we were asked to immediately leave the restaurant. Interesting approach, to say the least.

Lovely restaurant, the place is simple but hygge, the service is great (funny people) and the kitchen delicious. Over the 5 courses menu from December, we were pleased with flavorful starters. I loved the potatoes and their bread fresh from the oven, the details and attention really make the difference. I must also mention the dessert with that mushroom ice-cream. Not everyone at the table liked it, but I did. I loved discovering new combinations of flavors. They know what they're doing and we taste it! I definitely recommend it, for the price it's a great experience! Only negative point was the door to the wardrobe. When it is not closed, the tables near that door get the smell from the toilet/pipes which wasn't appreciated. Maybe it is an issue that occurred only that day and is not recurrent.

Nice environment, good food and very attentive service. The whole dinner was a very pleasant experience. Local and seasonal products are used on the menu and it was asparagus time. Personally I thought it was a bit too much use of asparagus with 3 out of 7 dishes being asparagus focus but I must admit that all of them had something distinct and different so it was also nice to get different ways of enjoying a product. The mackerel was a bit dry for our taste but all other dishes were super good. The freshly baked bread to enjoy with a potato soup and butter was fun and delicious. I really recommend going and getting the full 7 course menu if you do.

Our dinner at Radio was a memorable one. The decor is very intimate and ambient. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed hearing the influences behind each dish. The chef came out and brought out a dish near the end of our experience which was a nice touch. The dinner itself was absolutely delicious. We ended up liking dishes with ingredients that we normally don't favor the best in the end which was surprising (leek dish). We tried a few different wines (not commonly found in the US) throughout our meal including an orange wine. All in all, this meal and experience was worth every penny. Fine dining restaurant
Kiin Kiin is a contemporary Thai fusion restaurant located in Norrebro, Copenhagen. Co-founded by legendary Danish chef Henrik Yde Andersen and Lertchai Treetawatchaiwong, the restaurant offers a unique take on traditional Thai cuisine. With a relaxed atmosphere featuring rattan chairs and wooden floors, Kiin Kiin provides an oriental dining experience starting with snacks in the lounge accompanied by wine or beer before enjoying a seven or eight-course meal at the table.
Incredible fine dining experience! Each dish was an explosion of flavour, resonant in the language of Thai cuisine. Almost everything was perfect but the music was a bit cheesy, almost muzak-esque. Might be nicer if they used some modern Thai jazz or something else from that sphere (without becoming a parody of itself)

I love Thai food. Have eaten Thai food my whole life. Have never eaten Thai food like this. Super interesting. The table next to us even got to blowtorch their own crust. They definitely don't hold back on the spice level. Whole meal took about 3 hours start to finish. Service was friendly. Only complaint is that the pescatarian substitution for the beef being fishcake felt a bit.. cheap.. I was told it would be king prawn. Then again I did request no beef just before the meal. Would describe more but better you try it for yourself. Just Thai flavours in textures you've never tried before. While I definitely enjoyed my meal here, if I had to choose between this and my regular Thai takeout, I think I'd still go with the latter. Would recommend this as a try if you want Thai food but different.

One of the few Thai restaurants with a Michelin star. It’s a blend of traditional and some fusion mix of Thai food. We had the 6 course menu. The concept starts with a mix of snacks while you are in the main lobby of the restaurant and then you are ushered to the main dining room for the 6 course menu. The menu includes a soup, some sea food dishes and ends up with a meat dish followed by a dessert. The service is good / and attentive and expected for a Michelin star restaurant. The wines choices are good too and they have Riesling to start / followed by wine pairings if Chardonnay / Rose wine and Red Italian wine with the main meat dish. There is some innovation/ some dishes are delicious and overall the experience is a good one. It’s also decent and reasonably priced as compared to other various Michelin starred restaurants in Copenhagen/ or any other big European metropolis. Soup to begin with was delicious, one of the salmon and caviar dish was excellent and so was the meat with rice as a final main course. I would say overall worth a visit especially if you want a break from Nordic cuisines and want something spicy and Asian. Wine pairing is decent and if you don’t mind the additional cost then I would recommend. Meal for 2 is easily 400 euros without wine pairings. Verdict 4/5

A relic of Michelin days past. A decade or two ago, this was likely a ground breaking experience in light handed fusion of Royal Thai cuisine in a French haute cuisine format, but times and trends have moved on, and Kiin Kiin has not evolved or kept pace with what’s available on the international scene in its class of restaurant at this price point. I can see how this must have burst onto the scene so long ago, because the concept is interesting; the 6 amuse bouche/ snacks to start the meal are innovative in their mix of traditional flavours, spice, heat and textures and were one of the highlights. But as the meal progressed some of the table side theatrics just began to feel unnecessary and almost detracted from the actual quality of the cooking. Asian diners familiar with fine dining or the Michelin and even non Michelin accredited establishments in South East Asia will likely be disappointed here because the flavours are familiar but not elevated enough for them to appreciate. That said, anyone who is less familiar or just craving a light haute cuisine Asian experience for date night or a special occasion will enjoy the evening. The environment and decor is a little dated and lacks the refinement and sophistication of other establishments at this price point. But it’s still comfortable and… maybe a little too warm. The AC here is stuffy so try to be seated near a window so you can personally modulate the draft from the window yourself. The aromatic crab curry with home made rice noodle was a highlight. The curry is delicate enough to be turned into an espuma which highlights the delicate flavour and aromatics. Many of the other dishes felt very heavy handed in salt and acid and lacked the sophistication and execution of this dish. And like I said before, some of the fussiness took away from the actual good cooking of the kitchen. Not so in this dish. Service was pleasant and the establishment is run by a mostly Asian crew predominantly Thai in ethnicity to give it that exotic feeling. They seem to enjoy entertaining you and helped to make the night more of an experience.

Not a Michelin star imho. The starters on the main floor were the best. Service, flavors, atmosphere. Upstairs for the rest was tediously long… too much time between courses. Service was not good at all. Courses were trying too hard . Way too much fuss, and not enough good food. Oh, and my wine pairing with each course came late . Spend your money elsewhere. Ps- the book by the chef(?) saved the day -on each table to read while you wait, I guess . Very good .

A wonderful journey through Thai gastronomy. Very good staff and a fair price level compared to the experience and very high standard. The staff was polite and friendly and the food was delicious. I've been to Thailand and I have to say this restaurant took Thai food to a whole new level. They deserve to have a good review, not only for the risk of making a Thai restaurant but for the amazing atmosphere and product that they deliver! Well done Kiin Kiin!

We celebrated our anniversary at kiin kiin on the 20th of Dec 2024 and wow wow wow …everything from the service to the food was Perfection to a T ♥️ from the snack table to upstairs for the main menu 🙌🏻🙌🏻. We loved how they made us feel more special and the food and experience was on another level 👏🏾👏🏾. It’s definitely one of the 10/10 best experiences you can have in Copenhagen 🇩🇰❤️ . This was actually our second time at kiin kiin and both times are Perfect 👌🏾, looking forward to our third !!!!

Vækst is a unique bi-level restaurant located in Copenhagen's Latin Quarter, adjacent to the SP34 Hotel. The restaurant features a stunning two-story greenhouse with an abundance of plants and herbs that create a vibrant atmosphere for diners. The menu at Vækst focuses on Nordic cuisine, with an emphasis on vegetables complemented by meats, fish, and seafood. The owners have aimed to evoke the feeling of an endless Danish summer within the restaurant's indoor-outdoor setting.
We had an unforgettable dinner experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible – every single dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Without a doubt, this was the best steak we’ve ever had in Copenhagen. Truly outstanding. The service started off a bit slow; it took some time before anyone came to our table. However, once things got going, the staff took very good care of us and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. One odd part of the experience was the seating arrangement. Our friends had made a reservation in advance and mentioned that it was for a wedding celebration. Despite this, we were initially offered bar stools, which felt a bit inappropriate for the occasion. Thankfully, after we asked, they moved us to a regular table. The only real downside was the lack of air conditioning – it was quite hot inside, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable at times. Still, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended for the food alone.

Our first dinner in Copenhagen was at Vækst, and it set a beautiful tone for the trip. The restaurant, part of the Cofoco group and tucked beside Hotel SP34, feels like stepping into a greenhouse; filled with plants, glass, and soft light. We were seated downstairs, which was quiet and calm, a lovely start to the evening. We chose the three course menu and really enjoyed it. The salted halibut and fried plaice were incredible, perfectly cooked and delicious. I also appreciated how easily they made my husband’s dishes dairy free, and the small bites between courses were thoughtful and delicious. The staff were friendly and polite, but something about the service felt a little impersonal; it took a while for anyone to greet us or explain the menu, and wine recommendations did not happen as there was no sommelier. Everything ran smoothly and at the same time food came out fast if that makes sense; and that warmth and storytelling that make a dining experience truly special were missing for me. Still, the food was delicious and although our experience wasn’t completely perfect, I would absolutely recommend Vækst for a lovely dinner or lunch in Copenhagen. NOTE: For those who like less noise, book the earliest seating while it is still reasonable for nice conversation.

Magnificent! Excellently executed food and outstanding atmosphere and service! We took 3-course menus with wine pairings and this was plenty of food (honestly don’t know how hungry you must be for a 4 course menu). They add additional mini-dishes in between main servings so there will be enough great food coming your way! Wine pairings are very generous too! Very good amount of wine, every serving.

We had lunch at Vækst in Copenhagen as part of our wedding celebration with close friends and family – and it was such a lovely experience. We were a group of nine and went for the three-course lunch menu, with drinks à la carte. The service was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive from start to finish. We were seated upstairs, with the windows open and fresh air coming in, which made the atmosphere feel relaxed and summery. We really appreciated the small greetings from the kitchen in between the courses – especially before the starter and main course – which helped bridge the time nicely and made it feel even more thoughtful. The only downside was that the wait between the main course and dessert was a bit too long, and by the time coffee arrived, it was not really hot anymore. That said, everything else was perfect. The food, the setting, the people – it all made for a memorable afternoon. We’d absolutely recommend Vækst and would gladly come back.

Best scallops I've ever had! Apple sorbet was also amazing! The meat is better than the fish for the main course. The restaurant has a set 3 course menu so not too much choosing needed. You pick between the normal one or the vegetarian one or the 4 course one, and for each of those you can spend extra for the version with the wine pairing. Really cute ambiance and great service!

This was our second booking with a restaurant in the Cofoco group and it was yet another excellent meal. The restaurant is spread across 2 floors and seemed quieter on the below ground floor, with big party groups upstairs. Service was a little slow to start with, but excellent, and staff had no trouble dealing with a request for a gluten free meal. The presentation of the dishes is spectacular, and every course was superb. There’s a very good range of wines by the glass, and for the city, and the quality, this was an excellent value meal.

Took forever to get our table even though we had a reservation. Then it took forever to bring out the food. And it was pretty disastrous. Had the 4 course menu. Bread is rock hard, butter had no taste. Complimentary foods were okay. Scallops are freezing cold and no taste whatsoever. Caviar is forgettable. Tatar of beef is mushy, tastless, cold. The potato chips are lacking imagination. Complimentart mushroom soup is salted to the point you can't eat it. Main course of tenderloin was tasty tho the portion is small. I tasted the fried cod as well it was mediocre at best. Had the apple sorbet for dessert, which was the only exciting dish. The cream was phenomenal. But again, it was like 2 bites. Waiters were great but the service is slow. Avoid.
Anh N — Google review
I had the 4 course dinner menu and enjoyed all the dishes. The salmon Tatar and mushroom soup were the standouts. Beef tenderloin was solid but didn’t necessarily blow me away. I find restos often drop the ball with dessert hit the apple sorbet was phenomenal. Highly recommend it. Food was 4.5/5. The restaurant was cozy and had a warm ambience to it. 4/5 Service was decent. But, probably could have been warmer. While I don’t like being asked how the food is after every dish, it’s odd that they didn’t ask even once or twice. So I’d give service a 3/5 for being decent overall, but could improve on warmth and friendliness. 3.5/5

Relae is a renowned restaurant in Copenhagen, known for its inventive 4 and 7-course menus served in a smart, minimal space. The city has been a culinary hotspot for over a decade, with restaurants like Noma and Relae defining New Nordic cuisine. Torvehallerne, a must-visit destination for foodies, offers fresh produce, pour-over coffee purveyors, modern baked goods, craft beer, and more.
Beautiful restaurant serving beautiful, locally sourced dishes. My husband and I booked seats at the counter, which was an excellent choice as we were able to watch the dishes being made in the open kitchen. We did the Relae Menu with matching wines (there's also a Relae Experience menu with additional dishes). The food was exquisite and the wine matches were perfect!

Came away feeling rather disappointed. Mostly because they missed out on a dish for us - we had to be the ones to remind them, and they didn’t apologise either. Service was not too bad other than that though. Pork was also slightly too raw, although they did accede to my request for a more cooked slice without complaints. Dishes were very creative and surprisingly tasty for what they were (mainly veg based). I went for the juice pairing - there were a couple of hits but the rest were just alright.
Jiamin E — Google review
Not the most memorable Michelin dinner of my life, but still a good experience at a reasonable price for the quality of the ingredients, which were undeniably excellently sourced. The music was sometimes good, sometimes tragic - that made the atmosphere a bit weird at times. Overall a decent experience. I would like to try it again because I believe they are capable of more taste-wise - like in their sister restaurant Manfreds.

We sat on the table overlooking the kitchen. It proved to be an all encompassing experience including hearing the dynamics of the kitchen staff. The tasting menu (4 course) proved to be filling and gave us enough of a variety to have appreciated the freshness and overall theme the chef is trying to convey.
K B — Google review
We had mixed feelings when we entered the restaurant after reading different reviews (1 to 5). We chose the Relae menu and could not be more pleased. The presentation and taste (albeit bland) are well thought out. The pull out utensils drawer is a fantastic idea. The servers were knowledgeable and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Ralae earns 4.5 stars from us (5 if the music was a bit quieter). We also met Head Chef Jonathan, keep it up.
SL K — Google review
My expectation for Relae is quite high, and I have to say food here is not stunning at all. Maybe it’s okay for 1 star. But ranking as No.39 of world’s best restaurant is overrated (just my point of view). I’ve tried the 4 course menu #891. The second one is interesting, pumpkin with brown butter sauce. The pumpkin is proper cooked, tender and sweet, with a pinch of salt on top, very beautiful presented. However, the brown butter sauce is too strong, it covers the beauty taste of the pumpkin, very lack of balance. The third dish is duck breast with roasted apple and duck liver. I really enjoy the pace of taste in this dish. It leaves the liver till the end to give it a full flavor combination. This followed by a duck dumpling that is definitely the disappointment of this meal. The dumpling made from potato flour which is very sticky. The stuffing had quite some duck fat. Therefore, this dish taste super fatty and oily. It lack of a crunchy texture in my mouth. In general, I would say it’s nice to give it a try. But please lower your expectation when you decided to visit here.

After being unable to get a reservation at Noma, Relæ was suggested to me as an alternative. Keep in mind, I am definitely not the type of person to eat at Michelin-star restaurants, I love larger portions of food, but my experience at Relæ was phenomenal. I went with the “Menu” experienced prices at 475 DKK. I sat by the kitchen and was able to see all the work the chefs did. All the dishes were displayed and created with such intricacy. As I was presented with each dish, I was also given information about them. The ingredients are all organic, taking an ethical approach to all the food they cook. For one of the dishes, I was told that chefs travel to a farm every morning to collect items for that specific dish (I forgot which one this was). My favourites were the lamb dish and the dessert. The lamb was cooked to perfection – it didn’t feel like a lamb texture, it was so each to chew, and overall so pleasant to eat. The dessert was like nothing I’ve had before - it was some type of parfait with black currant, rose hip and bee pollen. The flavour was light, fruity, and unexpected. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Relæ if you’re around the beautiful city of Copenhagen. Even with the cheapest set menu, you’re bound to have a great experience.
Michael D — Google review
Very good food and good wine. We had the full experience without wine pairing; we picked a nice bottle of Barolo instead. What let them down was that it was really hot inside and the service became brisk and unfriendly at the very end. I put the latter down to being very late at the end of a busy Saturday night, but still not quite ok for the establishment. Some dishes were outstanding some a bit less. Their bread is amazing.

It has been serving customers for nearly two decades and is known for offering an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant's menu reflects its commitment to providing high-quality pre-Christmas getaways and delicious meals. Formel B is a must-visit destination for those seeking the best restaurants in Frederiksberg, as it consistently delivers top-notch European and Scandinavian cuisine.
Every course was so special and perfectly put together - the flavours, the texture, excellent. Having dined at many Michelin starred restaurants, this one was exceptional. The only let down was the peach dessert - this one wasn’t so great for me. I would 100% come here again if I came back to Copenhagen

Wonderful all around. The space is as beautiful as the courses they serve. Every detail is thought of — brought to life by an attentive, welcoming and knowledgable team. Just an example of their top-tier service: they freshly baked gluten-free bread for me so that I had the same experience as other patrons (and it was probably the best bread I’ve had). Can’t wait to go back!
Sara A — Google review
Many Michelin star restaurants offer a prix fixe menu where you may be less than thrilled on some of the dishes you will get, but Formel B offers you to select any five dishes from the menu which contains appetizers, entrees, desserts and you can select any combination. I chose one appetizer, two entrees, and two desserts while my husband had three entrees and one dessert. The entrees and desserts seemed equally sized. We both enjoyed the salted hiramase which is a creamy clean fish that came out elegantly presented in a rose shape. I got the roasted langoustine with pickled pumpkin, orange, and vadouvan followed by the Danish beef tartar with kale, pickled red currant, crispy sourdough and olive sauce. The desserts were the Blood orange with pistachio and sour cream with timut pepper and the Sea buckthorn au surprise (signature dessert that looks like a hedgehog in meringue). I highly recommend both desserts. My husband got the cheese and rye bread dessert, so we got to try all the desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes and the service from Frida and Mikkel which was perfectly timed, never rushed or waiting too long between courses and explanations were clear and at a good volume. We had one of the first tables under the window that was slightly below street level and fortunately it was not crowded or noisy. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening. After Mikkel refilled our second bottle of water after dessert, Frida let us know we had to ask for the check when we wanted it and we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted since we had the table for the night. We then had a nice discussion on Danish vs American health care, education, and safety at night. We had an incredible culinary journey with excellent service from Frida and Mikkel and would definitely return when we are in Copenhagen.

A high end restaurant that deviates from the usual tasting menu, but allows everyone select five dishes from the menu they like the most - and it will be a hard exercise, because you'll probably want to order more. Local fresh produce is in the center in all dishes; our favourites were the caviar with dehydrated tomatoes (punchy flavour packed dish) and the langoustine is a must-try course.
Ott K — Google review
5-star experience from the very start. This was our first Michelin Star restaurant my mom and I had ever been to. The service and attention to detail is like no other. We loved the food, and the wine pairing was the cherry on top. Compared to other Michelins, Formel B is an affordable 5-star meal. Everything was so fresh and high quality. The atmosphere was modern and quiet. Our absolute favorite, MUST-HAVE dish was the Sea Buckthorne for dessert! It tasted like a deluxe s’more. My other favorite would have to be the danish langoustine - wow. Thank you for having us Formel B!!

It’s a Michellin restaurant. The environment was nice and warm. The menu was different from usual Michellin Restaurant, customers can choose freely from the dishes according to individual preferences. That’s a really cool idea. The vibe was cool. Highly recommended.

Everything you could wish for. In a Danish context, a less expensive Michelin experience. And it doesn’t disappoint. Value for money (still in relative terms) and the experience of the caviar starter or the new Danish potatoes with truffles are not to be missed. Kudos to all the smiling, knowledgeable waiters/sommeliers. Thanks for having us

"Amass" destination in for gastronomic experience. Food and service are outstanding! Look for Vilma. She was our server and she's super sweet and attentive. Would love to go back to this place again. Not good for kids and not so adventurous eaters. Super talented chef and his team. They all help each other and such a beautiful thing to watch how the chef orchestrated the whole thing. They have their own organic garden and uses the freshest ingredients. They don't have a full bar. Enjoy the fine wine or crafted beer

First must, start the evening with the Amass gin & tonic. Best we’d ever had. Second, splurge on the wine pairing, nearly as important and exciting as each dish and really rounds out the experience. Staff are amazing, knowledgeable and are as much about the experience as the food. Enjoy!

Came on a weekday evening. Cool concrete walls covered in graffiti (which I was told changes every year). Big glass windows opposite the open kitchen look out over their garden, where a lot of their produce is grown. The food was all very good, with a nice wine match as well. I had heard of the potato bread, which my partner loved! All the food was tasty, textural, beautifully presented and interesting.

Great concept and beautiful food. We had lovely meal and have been surprised many times during the dinner. Hands down we've eaten the best bread in our life in Amass. Incredible. Mackerel was also exceptional. Just don't know how I feel about chicken as main course in such a restaurant. It was made really well but well, it's still a chicken. We also didn't really get artichoke, beans broth - it tasted like eastern european grandma's medicine. Staff was really friendly and helpful. So nice to see chefs running food and explaining the dishes. Big, open space and relax atmosphere make it really likeable. They have also great selection of wines.

Really delicious, well prepared food. Definitely a five star and I would say definitely worth a stop if you’re in Copenhagen. One of the better examples of new Nordic (or whatever comes after that). Each dish is really focused; a lot of care and attention goes into each dish and each component, but it doesn’t feel that way. Each dish works so well that it feels effortless, which is one of the highest complements I could give. Service was good, but not outstanding.

Wow! That was a great meal. Food was excellent and the service was relaxed and warm. And it felt like a great value for money considering you're in Copenhagen. The wine list was very compact but had plenty of good choices. The bread was amazing. The cod with chanterelles was excellent. I liked the emphasis on using parts of ingredients that are generally discarded. Great meal and would totally go back next time we're in Copenhagen.

Always a great experience here. Been coming to this place since they opened 7 years ago, simple but very tasty plates, there are other Noma alumni opening around the city over the years, but this is one of the few very stable ones. Pastis is a restaurant with classic Gallic cuisine and French wines in an unfussy modern setting. The white-tiled walls give the restaurant a relaxed atmosphere, and the menu features everything you would expect to find in northern France. The restaurant is centrally located on Gothersgade, making it perfect for a working lunch, group dinner or just an after-work drink.
Excellent French bistro. Has everything on the menu you would expect with the decor to match. It is pricey- as are most of the restaurants in town. Service was as we had become accustomed to in town. Very business like, not particularly friendly but not rude - somewhere between French and Italian.

A place to be seen. Decor similar to or identical to NYC. Some dishes are similar. Young waiters serve you attentively, depending on the monument. Enjoyable after-dinner conversation.

Cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and yummy food - just be careful with the dessert menu. Great wine card, but the non-alcoholic options were very lacking. Only beer or soda. The escargot was delicious and swimming on great sauce, and the accompanying bread was warm and fresh. Mussels were fresh and in a delicious broth, and the portion size was huge. Fries were crispy and delicious. The desserts were however quote disappointing, with the profiteroles being dry, the ice cream tasteless, and the lemon tart quite hard in the shell. Staff were attentive but not overly friendly. We were forgotten twice when asking for things, but it was a very busy night. Overall recommend - just go find dessert elsewhere.

Tommis Burger Joint is a popular spot in Copenhagen's Meatpacking District, offering quality fast food burgers, thin cut fries with a variety of hot sauces and relishes, tasty milkshakes, and craft beers with an Icelandic flair. The menu includes options for veggie burgers as well. The restaurant has a help-yourself sauce bar and offers takeaways or indoor and outdoor seating. Visitors recommend trying the bearnaise burger and opting for the sweet potato fries.
ith Room to Grow Went to this burger place with a group of seven, and it was a total hit. Everyone was raving about their burgers—seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group go that quiet while eating! The flavors, the buns, the toppings—it was all top-tier, and the vibe in the place matched the food: fun, casual, and buzzing. As someone who doesn’t eat red meat, my options were a bit limited. They only had one vegetarian burger, but I have to say—it was really good. Great texture, bold flavor, and definitely not an afterthought. Still, I would’ve loved to see a chicken option on the menu for a bit more variety. That said, the quality and energy of the place more than made up for it. Stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The burger tasted homemade – juicy, flavorful, and well-balanced. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Would definitely come back!

The burger was dry and too salty but flavorful , the bun was Ok and sweet potatoes were good. Unfortunately, they didn’t have cold beer available The place is nicely located at meat pack district which has nice vibe . Not a place to worth coming back

Great and friendly service. Had the spicy bbq burger and IPA. The burger had slaw and blue cheese and was cooked a perfect medium. The IPA was a great accompaniment to the "messy" but delicious spicy bbq burger. Highly recommend.

MASH Penthouse, located at the Tivoli Hotel, is a top-notch steakhouse that takes its meat seriously. It offers exclusive Kobe beef from Japan and a variety of high-quality cuts from Uruguay, America, and Denmark. The restaurant also boasts an extensive selection of fine wines and cocktails to complement the dining experience with a stunning view from the 12th floor. With locations in Germany and London, MASH is known for its juicy steaks served with an array of sides.
Great steaks! I tried the local Danish rib eye, which was very tasty. Maybe I go for the Wagyu the next time, but it is more expensive than the normal meat.

Went here with a group of people and needed a nice table. Manager of the restaurant was helpful and find as a good table. Food was great and view was amazing. Eleni was polite and friendly. Recommend to try this place if you’re in Copenhagen.

I came because we like Mash and we been many times different mash in Copenhagen. But today we booked a table but when we came to the reception the lady gives the table with nice view to another couple that didn’t book table .(We can here everything wath they say) We were 10 minutes late but we try to call many times but no response. And then we got another table with loud noise from the company group so we want to change the table of course. We was two people and the waiter was so nice he changed the table for us. And after that another reception came and tell the table was for people they’re book for 2 months??? Hello I tell him that lady was take another client to nice view without they’re book So thinking about it before you come here they’re not treat you well. They only look how you dress up

it was late night and as we were jet lagged and everywhere else is closed, we came up to the penthouse to have some food. The salmon is very tender and pretty good, and the green beans are boiled with salt. A very simple meal and nothing not right about it. But it’s in copenhagen, and your wallet will suffer, the price is so expensive by American city standards. This simple meal was US$75, with which you could have a 3-course meal in NYC, and three 3-course meals in south of France. High income (actually mid-income by American standards) in denmark is taxed at 55% and everything has 25% VAT. Crazy how countries work differently and thank God we can make our own choices as to where to live!

Always worth a visit with great meat quality. Service is friendly and fast. Located at the 12th floor, the terrace is great and also the view from the restaurant nice in the evening. All this obviously comes at a price but it's worth it from time to time. 5* overall.
Daniel B — Google review
Paying 500dkk + for a steak to be charged extra for all sides creates a horrible atmosphere where the restaurant no longer feels like it's there to provide a good customer experience but just to empty your wallet. Food quality does not matter at that point. And there is plenty of better places to eat in Copenhagen.
Dominik B — Google review
For sure a nice place with a beautiful sunset and a view of the city and trainrails... The meat was flavorful and tender but I miss the small details like a bit of butter on top, fries and sauces were not the best I took two sauces even if in theory you can ask for refills, The bread and butter were very nice. The meat was well cooked as ordered

MASH, short for modern American steakhouse, is a top-notch dining spot known for serving the finest steaks in town. The restaurant boasts a stylish interior and an impressive selection of wines, making it a standout choice for discerning diners. Visitors to CPH Airport have raved about their experience at MASH Restaurant, praising the attentive staff and swift service. While renowned for its delectable steaks, even non-steak options like burgers are highly recommended.
Fantastic place, but very hidden. It is easy to missed it Very nice personal, and very good food. I have ordered burger. Meat quality was very good, burger was fantastic, but fries with truffles were astonishing. One of the best restaurant you can find on airports.
Daniel W — Google review
I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant, and I must say it’s a true gem. The burger I ordered was absolutely delicious—perfectly juicy with well-balanced toppings, and the steaks were a real treat for meat lovers—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was top-notch—friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable about the menu. It’s the perfect spot to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the terminal and enjoy a great meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Wojciech ( — Google review
The restaurant is upstairs and it was bit quieter than some of the other options in the airport which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the steak tartar was great and the burger we ordered medium rare was juicy. Overall not a bad meal for airport food.
Aunoralurra — Google review
Great to see MASH reopened in Copenhagen Airport. As someone who’s been a lot at the different MASH restaurants, unfortunately the standard in the airport was not as good as usual. The staff was not very attentive; I waited more than 20 minutes from finishing my food and they still didn’t remove the plates or ask me if I needed anything more, so I had to ask the staff for the bill. Furthermore, I ordered a medium steak but it was close to being medium-rare… Hoping the standard improves to be on-par with the other MASH restaurants.

I travel a lot around the world, and today, after two long and exhausting days on the road, I found myself in your restaurant during a layover in Copenhagen. I was returning from surgery and really needed a peaceful moment and a good meal. Although part of the restaurant was closed, your incredible waiter Anton went above and beyond—he opened a quiet section just for me so I could sit alone and unwind. That kind of empathy and professionalism is rare to find. Anton is truly a master of his craft, and I sincerely hope you value team members like him. The food was excellent, no doubt, but today it was Anton who made the experience exceptional. I’ll definitely be back—not only for the great food but because of the genuine care and hospitality I received. Bravo to your team. See you again soon!
Michał K — Google review
Got a seat quickly and the bear was really cold. I didn’t try the steak option for the burger. Ordered it medium and that’s what I got (note the chips are chilli chips as standard) it came with 3 different dips. Access is possible limited as it is on the first floor, it might be just that I did not need the lift. The only thing that lets it down is the atmosphere but as an airport location it’s hard to control these things as a high end establishment because it’s not for everyone. Will definitely be going back when I next travel through Copenhagen airport (CPH

I ordered a salat, but I'm not sure if it was only an appetizer. The portion was very small and mainly salat, with no dressing or garnish. All the potions were small. The waiter was not attentive enough on the table service. We had to call out for attention if we wanted more drinks. It's too expensive for what you get.
Tally P — Google review
I booked at table at Bøf og Ost via their website but found out that they're being run by Peder Oxe. When I arrived nobody explained this and just gave me the Peder Oxe menu. The wine menu is terrible compared to the old Bøf og Ost menu and they even served warm champagne. The service was slow and both the charcuterie starter and steak bearnaise were underwhelming. It's a pity, because the old Bøf og Ost was great, and it's a shame that Peder Oxe does not make it clear that the original restaurant no longer exists.
Bernardo D — Google review
Have been here multiple times, and ordered the seafood platter and it has been great every time. Better than what you can usually get in Denmark! They also have a great deal of amazing champagnes and it is a wonderful place, especially when seated outside in the summer, to celebrate!
Ingvild A — Google review
Good food and great service. Unfortunately there was an excessively drunk patron that overshadowed our visit. He should have been escorted from the restaurant and denied service before his inebriation reached that point. Still the benefit of doubt prevailed and I would like to visit the restaurant again, to have an experience that isn't clouded by unfortunate happenstance.
Jacob J — Google review
Unfortunately disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend going there as the overall experience is not worth the price. The fish was really good, mussels were ok. But service was super arrogant. As we asked for noodles for the kids, she dismissively replied that they only serve what’s on the menu. Well, our kids had to go with fries then. When we left we saw that they had pasta on the menu.

Stopped there twice while visiting Copenhagen. Both times were great. First time we just stopped for drinks. The second time for an extended hanging out at the terrass, drinks and lunch. Nice lunch and wonderful attentive staff

We wanted to sit at the next door restaurant, but we accidentally sat at the tables of this one. We ordered fish, beef and rabbit. The rabbit was pretty good. The fish and the beef appeared to have been fried in a pan, quite badly. The potato sides were pretty bad, some of them seemed warmed up again. Some others were undercooked. The vegetables were quickly thrown together. The dill in the salad was uncut, which made for a weird experience. Overall a subpar experience, avoid if you can.

Restaurant Rebel is a modern venue with an open kitchen that has undergone several transformations. The atmosphere is laid-back, making it the perfect place to enjoy a good steak and drinks. Guests have praised the attentive service, fantastic wine selection, and delicious food.
The food was so delicious and tastet great. Really good service. One of my girl friends is allergic to almost everything. Both the waiter and the chef talked to her and made her meal so delicious Must try when in Copenhagen ❤️
Mariah N — Google review
The food was good but too expensive for what it was. You can find similar menus in CPH for 20-30% cheaper. The service was good and staff were friendly. Unfortunately the sparkling water was not sparkling enough, probably the pressure bottle needed changing. Restaurant is okay, but we were placed upstairs next to the speakers which was a bit loud. If the price was lower for the menu I would rate it 4 star.
Self S — Google review
I loved everything about the place - delicious food with all elements complimenting each other and great wine menu. Butter and brioche buns are AMAZING!!! Staff is friendly, service is very quick.
Ksenia Z — Google review
A great tastning experience. We went for the “rebelsk aften” with the “uncontrollable” wine pairing. The food was really amazing and the wine pairing was good. We thoroughly enjoyed the Phillip prie brut for the appetizers, but were not too keen on the la perle rose. However, what I want to highlight the most is the service provided but the store manager and chefs to accommodate my (impractical) intolerance of garlic and onion. Most dishes as in every restaurant, are based on these ingredients and it is often not possible to accommodate my intolerances. They however ended up doing just that and provided alternatives to all the items containing this on the menu and switching certain dishes or making alternative sauces. They were still flavourful and resulted in a great gastronomical experience. I would definitely visit again.
Nanna O — Google review
We were seated immediately. We then waited 30 minutes for water. The food was tasty, but they forgot two main dishes: a chicken dish and a steak dish, as well as the bread we ordered. The waiter was not professional in his interaction with other tables. The only good news is that they didn't charge us for the forgotten food.
Emily P — Google review
We had spent there our Valentine’s Day. I would highly recommend this place for three reasons. Firstly because of the amazing starters, secondly because of outstanding dessert and wine made from blackcurrant. Last but not least - high quality service, focus on food and specific information without false friendliness. We really enjoyed that!
Edyta K — Google review
Fantastic wine selection, experienced staff with warm personalities, marvelous food and tasteful music at just the right level. My friend and I had a great experience with the “Little Rebel” tasting menu accompanied with wine, and I would definitely recommend eating here for a great gastronomic experience at a very manageable price point.

We’ve tried the small tasting menu which was good, but not exceptional in this price range. I felt there were some really great (tartare, soup) and also some average (oysters, chicken) meals, which made the whole experience mixed. Although the wine pairing was great.

Bastards is a restaurant in Copenhagen known for its industrial New York atmosphere and modern cuisine. The establishment has received a 4-star review from Berlingske, praising its magnificent service and 'nose to tail' food philosophy. The owners are passionate about delivering quality meals at fair prices. Guests have enjoyed spending entire evenings there, savoring great coffee and a fine selection of wines.
Fantastic! I've passed in front of this restaurant hundreds of times, decided to have a go, and I regret not trying it earlier. First the staff is very warm and agreable. The venue is also nice, with lots of room to hang coats. Then the dinner experience was just amazing. For starter, I had a very nice tartar with some very good home made mustard and some Jerusalem artichokes chips (maybe a bit too many chips to my taste). The main was a very well cooked chicken breast with amazing potatoes gratin, and the cucumbers on top of the chicken were delicious as they had been infused with berries. And for desert an excellent panacota with meringue. And I can't emphasise how nice the staff was. So Overal a great place for dinner which I highly recommend.

Amazing place. Lovely food, great service and as the menu reflects their mood and available food you can't go wrong. Yellow mushroom, poached egg...and more and that's just the starter. A must visit in Copenhagen (business or pleasure)

Very friendly waiter, we had burgers. My burger was vegetarian, it had a huge mushroom in it. Delicious sauce, delicious burger, good fries. Husband had the pulled pork burger, it was nice, but he didn't like the sauce. Beer was excellent.
Wall E — Google review
Had appetizers of a halibut ceviche with cucumber and horseradish, then a main course of pappardella with meatballs. The halibut was quite good. Due to the waiter's mistake with my order, I had to wait more than half hour for the pappardella. He did apologize repeatedly, but I just wished he had written down the order in the first place. I ordered the French rose by the glass, which was too sweet. Switched to the Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon on the waiter's recommendation, and it was a bit too light.
Hui C — Google review
Went here for lunch, the burgers were great and the staff was very friendly! Especially the herb Mayo was really good! :)
Emelie R — Google review
Magnificent service and great "nose to tail" food (use everything on the animal). Clearly the owners have passion about what they do and are focused on quality, while still delivering a very fair price on menus and meals. We were just supposed to have dinner there and then be on our merry way, but ending up spending the entire evening, enjoying both great coffee after the meal and diving in their very nice selection of wines (small, but chosen with a steady hand - both natural and conventional wines). Down to earth as well. Will definitely return

Cozy place to eat! The staff was very friendly and we got a table for a quick dinner even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was also very delicious 🤤

We had a really nice evening for a business meeting. As we were a party of 10, we had a fixed menu that comprised a series of smaller bites, followed by the main course (a nice and spicy curry), and a dessert. We had a small room to ourselves in the back of the restaurant, and it felt cozy and perfect for our event. The waitress was really nice and fun, and helped us through the evening in the best of ways. Food was really tasty, and the cocktail too (we had a series of pitchers).
Matteo B — Google review
Nice place with decent food. The selection of dishes were ok. I didn’t like that all of them were spicy. I’m not a very spice tolerant person so I was sniffling through the whole meal. The dessert was quite disappointing and not fitting to the theme. Feels like it could be improved.

We had the Hanzo experience with 10 plates. The quality was good and you end up full. Also quite great service. I also have to highlight the bathroom. The coolest bathroom ever. I really appreciate when restaurants decide to put speakers in bathrooms. Thanks for that, Hanzo

Super restaurant with great food. We ordered the menu (experience) which was a great choice. The food was very delicious and the amount was good as well. Even is the price is a bit high (unfortunately Kopenhagen standards) it really was a experience. The extra choice was the tofu stir fry which had a good amount and was super delicious. We liked that the water was cheap (10kr for a bottle) and we had a super friendly waitress. We didn't like that we almost didn't got a table even though we ordered before. We were a group of six and sat in the middle of the small room. The room is cozy, the music gives a vibe, but there are too many people in such a small room.

I really enjoyed my night here. The food was very good, a mix of Japanese, Korean, Chinese and so on, very tasty and spicy just to the right level. I am a hearing Irishman and my friend is a deaf local person, I thought the staff dealt with us perfectly. They treated my friend as an equal very respectfully and without fuss. I would eat here again without hesitation.

The food and service was good. However... we had booked a table for 1,5 hours (reserved the day before). After one hour (right after finishing the main course) the waitress came with the check and told us we had to leave because the table was now reserved for other guests. What if we wanted more food, dessert or coffee...????

The restaurant offers an outrageous sense-spinning experience with 50 small courses and an explosion of impressions curated by maverick chef Rasmus Munk. Diners can expect a choreographed immersive experience, where they move through 50 food and drink pairings divided into five acts, often with a political statement or specific social issue in mind.
Dining at Alchemist is not just a meal—it's an unforgettable, multi-sensory experience that challenges every expectation of what food can be. From the moment you enter the striking bronze doors, you're transported into a meticulously curated world where art, science, and gastronomy converge. Each of the 50+ courses is presented with theatrical flair and profound creativity, inviting not just your palate, but your mind, to engage with deeper themes—sustainability, social issues, and the future of food. Chef Rasmus Munk and his team are true visionaries. Dishes are not only flawlessly executed but often thought-provoking, blurring the lines between performance art and fine dining. Whether it's a course inspired by climate change or an edible sculpture with an ethical message, every bite tells a story. The immersive dome, the ever-evolving visuals, and the interplay of light, sound, and scent add to the dreamlike quality of the evening. Service is impeccable—attentive yet relaxed, knowledgeable without being overbearing. Alchemist is not for the faint of heart, nor for those seeking a traditional dinner. A meal here is more than dinner—it's a conversation, a spectacle, and a masterpiece.

Obviously very unique experience. Although it's quite expensive but it does worth the money. It is not only about the food while part of the dishes not really about being tasty but some kind of the statement. All around they have an amazing cocktails and wine list. In some of the dishes the chef combines successfully great taste with the statement, in some of them the taste wasnt the issue. Bottom line- highly recommended experience
Eddie P — Google review
Extraordinary experience for the eyes, mouth and brain! Chef Rasmus was very present during the service, presenting three impressions and came by to chat as the meal was winding down at the lounge, which was a great opportunity to ask questions and take pictures!

Nae S — Google review
The best dining (and hospitality) experience I've ever had. The dishes range from innovative spins on classic flavors from around the world to avant-garde art bites meant to challenge the way you think about what we eat and why we eat it. Provocative, challenging, educational, and delicious. The many changes in setting (the meal is served across five rooms) built a huge sense of anticipation across the night, and the multi-sensory experience of the main dining room is almost overwhelming at times. Above all, though, the impression I will be left with is how incredible the service at Alchemist is. Every dish was presented with a story to help contextualize our experience, and the beverage pairings (both wine and non-wine) were unreal. Service was attentive, fluid, and highly flexible. Our sommelier, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and able to create an experience that felt special and personalized to us as guests. The care that goes into the customer experience is evident across all team members. Could not recommend the Alchemist highly enough.

It should definitely win the title of best restaurant in the world! Impeccable service, unique customer care, and the taste of the dishes is surprising. Top marks

The best dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly, and made sure our experience was perfectly in order. When it comes to the food… words are not enough to express their taste. It was not just a delicious meal but a sensory tease in every aspect. Visuals, music, the stories and morals behind each dish… This is a must visit experience for everyone seeking more than just food and taste. I can not call this place just a restaurant, as it is way more than that. I wouldn’t imagine a dish could change my perspective in different aspects of life and made me more conscious about deep topics that we don’t really think about in our daily lives. Outstanding!

One of the greatest restaurant experiences i had so far this year. Staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. They really know what they are doing with the meat and they have good variety on both meat and sides. I did not get to try all the meat types but i got through most of them, where they all are grilled/ cooked to perfection, the meat is so tender you can just pull it apart and it has such a rich flavor. It have such a great price that its worth eating here 7/7 days a week. I’m definitely going to come back

“Meat Lovers”! this is mecca. Friendly service and a Nice warm ambience. “Flammen” is in particular great for various parties such as birthdays, companies and other large group celebrations. kids, especially love the desert “shop” which has its own ice cream machine. The open flame grill is a gourmet show on its own and it gives the food that juice grill flavor. Not all the Meat is equally tender and some of the food in the buffet taste like “buffet” food ie. It can be a bit over cooked. But overall the food is delicious and fresh and the selection leave no wishes unfulfilled. Especially the lamb was very tender. If you’re on a diet this is not for you. The prices are reasonable as well. We’ll be back.

Good furnishings and atmosphere. Service extremely polite and friendly. Interesting starters and many extremely tasty variations of meat dishes, unfortunately often too salty. Little choice of vegetables at the buffet. Good price-performance ratio.

Best food quality/price I have had in the Nordic countries. Meat was mostly great, good variety to choose from, sides were alright.

A big, all-you-can-eat feed. Good value. Many meats to choose from, some better than other (wild boar had maybe sat under the lamp for a while and was dry, as had the sausages) Excellent salad selection with unusual mixture (feta and melon with leaves and balsamic was a winner. Crispy beetroot and parsnip shavings with leaves was also very interesting) Good selection of potato dishes to accompany. Mac and cheese was alkost as good as Helen's (high praise indeed!) Too stuffed for desert, which wasn't elaborate anyway. So, a plate of the fruits from the salad bar (melon, pineapple and blueberries) sufficed with a couple of slices of fresh bread. Service was pleasant enough though a little slow to clear the dirty plates, which I had to take to the bar so as to be able to eat the second of my four plates! Well worth the 229DK.

The buffet includes amazing grilled meats, such as duck, beef (ramsteak, fillet), lamb, and even kangaroo, not to mention pork and chicken. There is also a variety of garnishes and greens available. The dessert selection is nice, and you can even pour ice cream from a special machine. It's advisable to reserve a table beforehand.

Chalet Burger & Steak is a popular spot known for its delicious burgers and beef-based dishes cooked to perfection. The cozy restaurant offers a friendly atmosphere with the option of indoor or outdoor seating. Guests appreciate the attentive staff and recommend making reservations, especially during busy times. The menu features a variety of options including burgers, steak, salads, and specials, all at reasonable prices.
Very nice girl working there was patient and smiling even though she was busy. We had steaks and burger but the best was steak salad with goat cheese.

Very cozy indoors and with a large and sunny terrace. I had the Ultimate burger, great taste with a special sauce. Asked for medium rare and it was almost perfect, very delicious. Kind staff and fair prices.

A very cozy place with excellent outdoor options. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Apparently this place is very popular when there is a big game so be sure to book a seat! I tried the striploin steak with fries and bearnaise and can absolutely recommend the excellently seasoned and juicy experience.

My daughter and I had a dinner in Chalet. I got a Ribeye steak and she got and oksemorbrad steak! The meat was absolutely delicious and they have a reasonable prices for CPH. We tried a red wine and it was also very tasty! Really nice atmosphere and good service. Definitely recommending this place.

The place has definitely gone downhill since the majority of reviews. Most of the steaks are off the menu. The fish and chips are frozen (mine didn't completely thaw when they made it to the table). There's no English menu.
Jeremy F — Google review
Disappointing. Burger was very small for the price. About the size of a McDonalds quarter pounder (30 kr value), but it was tasty. If it was half the price or less, I would have been almost impressed. Delivery was bad. I don't fault the restaurant for this since it was through Wolt. But my food was cold. Fries were ready to be discarded when they arrived. The burger was cold but edible. I was mostly disappointed by the size. 226 kr. to feed one person. I feel totally ripped off. Not worth it by any stretch. Will not repeat. Order from Jagger or maybe even Halifax if you're gonna spend this kind of cash. You will get 3x more food for your money, at a much better quality. Won't order from this place again.

NOHO is a trendy spot located in Copenhagen's popular Meatpacking District. By day, it functions as a co-working space hosting various events, while at night, it transforms into a vibrant bar and restaurant. The venue boasts an unpretentious and laid-back atmosphere with a passion for service and quality. Its unique decor features bright neon signs, an eccentric plant-covered wall, and a pink flower ceiling in industrial surroundings.
We went in for The Full Experience and a drink each. The waitress greeted us and explained how everything worked, and there was no issue in changing one menu up to be vegetarian. It had a great variety of shared and individual food, which all tasted great. We had a great experience!

Good food and drinks! The place has a bar downstairs and that was fun as well.

Food is average. Maybe the atmosphere and bad service had some impact on this review. We had to wait for service for ever with empty plates and wine glasses. Waiters were busy chatting by the counter. We took wine paring with the menu which should be with discount but full price was charged.

A great bar with fantastic staff & some amazing drinks. We had some nachos too, which were lovely, but the cheese needed to be distributed around more!

Incredible food with a wide selection of high quality signature meals. Cocktails were absolutely awesome although would benefit from having atleast one more margarita option. Staff attentiveness to customers dining was rather poor, needs substantial improvement.

Figaro is a charming wine bar located inside Tivoli Gardens, perfect for Francophiles as the staff prefers to converse in French. The establishment offers an exquisite selection of Burgundy wines and delectable dishes such as fish soup and foie gras served with jam, salt flakes, and freshly ground pepper. Guests can savor gourmet heaven by pairing their meal with a glass of Sauternes wine recommended by the chef.
In the context of restaurants within theme parks, this was definitely five stars. Perfect spot to people watch. Our waitress shared that the chef is Italian and indeed the Shrimp Pasta and Panna Cotta were deliciously authentic. The Smorgasbords were just okay, but the fish crust on one of the sandwiches was delightful. Also recommend the Black Current Spritz. Only challenges were the very uncomfortable chairs, very crowded space and sometimes slower service. Still it is in a theme park, so top marks in context.

We ate Caesar salad and it was very good. The place and the atmosphere were very nice and relaxing aswell. We also drank some Aperol and it was very good and with a good punch of alcohol.

As soon as I arrived in Copenhagen I just knew I needed to try some seafood. We're staying in a hotel next to the central station, and I wemt on the search for some seafood places. Figaro really stood out to me. Being a huge fan of seafood, I couldn't help myself to try the platter they serve. Needless to say it was amazing. Our waiter was very nice, the place was comfortable and we had a great time. The prices were really good compared to other seafood places around the central station. It was a great experience and I'd recommend this place to everyone that enjoys seafood or wants to try something new. Thank you!

Figaro Seafood restaurant is perfectly located in the centre of Tivoli. If you sit outside there is a great view of Tivolis central plaza and grand stage. The waiters are professional and friendly and know their wine card. Outside there are limited seats in the sun. Depending on whether you have lunch or dinner that’s good or bad. The waiter turned on the heater for us😊. The Tivoli marching band was playing while we had an early dinner and we felt wonderfully entertained. I ordered the seafood platter it was delicious, but the portion was a bit small for the price. 3 oysters, some shrimp and a bit of small shellfish. But Figaro is still one of the better restaurants in Tivoli.
Jorgen F — Google review
Service was normal, but from 9 position only 1 was good, Shrimps was plastic as from cheapest local store, caviar was fake and salty like bubble gum as shrimps, lobster was pretty good but small portion from 6 Skagens was only one normal to eat its salmon
SHENii C — Google review
The setting is nice and the service was good but the food was not. The shrimp toast was terrible. The tomato salad was not good either. There were six of us eating and the only “descent” food was the salmon. We sent back the pesto pasta that was especially bad.
Sara G — Google review
Excellent restaurant located inside Tivoli gardens. They are really special in seafoods. We opted to have lunch here, food was really delicious and delightful. Seasonal cocktails are really flavoursome. Prices are moderate and reasonable. Staffs are very professional, friendly and cooperative. Weekends are mostly crowded and try to book the table in advance. Most of the time tables can be found easily. Recommend to visit here if you’re looking for a good restaurants inside Tivoli.
Rakesh J — Google review
A gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Tivoli Gardens! We pre-ordered the seafood platter prior to arriving in Copenhagen which was risky since we had not seen Tivoli or this restaurant before. However, it met our expectations. The cocktails on offer were incredible and the wine list and beer options were extensive. In terms of the food, we ordered the seafood pasta and a seafood platter. A particular highlight was the oysters which were served with shallot and lemon. We also ordered the half lobster which was divine. The platter itself was huge so ended up being good value for money. It was served with chips which were seasoned and served with mayo. The shrimp also came with a delicious spicy tomato sauce which was a welcome surprise. I would definitely recommend Figaro to fish lovers as they really set the bar high for food within Tivoli.

Fantastic breakfast. The staff was very kind and the food was spectacular. I had a frøhsnapper (sesame AND poppy seeds, ear grey cream), which might possibly be the greatest pastry I’ve ever eaten. The granola+yogurt+fruit was delicious as well. I have two more days in Copenhagen, I will definitely try to come back. Thank you!!

We are addicted to this lovely cafe. Immaculate chill vibes. Cozy atmosphere. Great view of Rosenborg Castle. Great music choice. But of course the food is astounding. The bacon buddy with the chutney is savory decadence (and they surprised me by also having cholula) and the cro-sandwich is absolutely to die for. The yogurt was also packed full of goodies. We find ourselves coming back here nearly every morning, and we are going to miss it.

Silberbauers Bistro, located in Copenhagen, is a cozy French bistro created by Danish chef Mathias Silberbauer. Inspired by his time in Nice, the restaurant offers traditional Nicoise dishes and local seafood. The menu changes constantly based on the fresh ingredients obtained from fishmongers each day. The dining experience is casual and rustic, with a focus on classic bistro cuisine from the South of France. The stripped-down restaurant emphasizes simplicity, where only the ingredients and taste matter.
We had a Sunday lunch here, it was great. French bistro food, very generous portions, tastes perfect, great atmosphere and extremely helpful and cheerful staff. Excellent service, above average for Copenhagen. It is not cheap, but it is worth every crown. Will definitely return!

The initiated are aware that Copenhagen offers a wide variety of French restaurants: From soulless tourist traps to themed venues that drown you in images of Eiffel towers, baguettes and mustached-beret-wearing mannequins. Then there are the upper-class-upper-price range-mediocre-produce places that look like the place to be, but rarely keep what their polished looks promise. Silberbauer is the opposite of that. Discreet and understated on the outside, full of life and buzz on the inside. Though they fall in the same category as most other restaurants - namely that the starters outshine the mains - all dishes that I tried were the best I’ve had all year. However, the undisputed star was the seared/grilled(?) bone marrow with bread (see photos). The taste was so rich, it actually made the main dish (gnocchi ragout) pale in comparison in terms of flavour. Pro tip: Order it as a pre-desert after the main! My only regret I have from my visit is, that I didn’t order more of them. Four stars on the vibe because it was lunch and I’d imagine dinner time is more lively.

Restaurant Aure is a surprising find in Denmark, located in an 18th-century gunpowder store. Guests can expect fantastic food and wine, creative dishes with top-quality ingredients, and excellent service. The space between tables provides a comfortable dining experience with tasteful decor and nice acoustics.
Food and service was amazing. The staff were truly so so nice and attentive. The chef comes over and talks to the tables as well. Would highly recommend. Most of the dishes were so good! Only a couple that I didn’t love but weren’t bad but that’s it. So many layers in flavors in all of the dishes and the plating was very pretty.

An Unforgettable Fine‑Dining Masterpiece at Restaurant Aure. The service is warm and thoughtful, with expertly paired wines and beautifully presented dishes. What an experience! The service and food were top notch! I am not the biggest fish fan but this meal changed my opinion 100%. Such delicate and beautifully intentional dishes. Fiona was superb and very patient with us and our questions.
Rachel B — Google review
Aure is one of the newest Michelin star dining destinations in Copenhagen and absolutely worth it. The food highlights fresh local ingredients, the dishes aren't too busy/crowded, but packed with gentle flavours. The baby leek dish was the biggest testament to this philosophy - and probably my favourite of the whole 12+ course menu. Wine pairing was executed flawlessly, consisting mostly white wines. I'm very curious to see where they'll be in a couple of years, and I'm excited to come back.

Absolutely fantastic place! the food was fantastic (perhaps the greatest dessert I've ever had?!?), staff was great and the atmosphere in the old building is down to earth 👌
Daniel C — Google review
We visited in February 2025 with high expectations as it was one of the newest Michelin ⭐️ restaurants in Copenhagen. Truth be told neither the chef nor the restaurant meet our expectations and we will not recommend it to the “foodies of the world” It kind of went wrong for them from the get-go! We had booked a 6pm seating and when we arrived at 5:50pm the front door was locked and several other guests were standing outside in the cold wondering if they were at the right place! At exactly 6pm the front door was finally unlocked and we were graciously let in to a very disorganized coat check! The restaurant was 70% empty and they had still not managed to honor our seating request communicated in advance. Only once we insisted did the requested seating take place. The menu was all over the place and had no point of view and there were so many competing flavors that we simply lost interest. We will not be back and we will not be giving out recommendations - sorry - next!
Peter H — Google review
Aure is dishing out 3* service, 2*+ food, at 1* prices, all while being open for less than two years. One of the most memorable 1* experiences of my life. Let’s start with food. This restaurant does such good exploration of flavor. When I ate their langoustine it felt like I was eating it for the first time. Their melon dessert tasted more like a melon than just eating a straight melon. The respect of the ingredients is inspiring, to say the least. The use of fresh herbs, flowers, etc made some dishes evolve with each chew — as you bite into an edible flower or leaf, punchy herbaceous flavors explode in your mouth. Or you bit into a small piece of pickled daikon, providing an exciting sweet-sour splash on a super savory bite. Seriously, I can hardly pick a favorite dish. And the service? This meets or exceeds every single 3* I have been to. Singlethread, Alinea, Per Se, you name it. Every single person I spoke to was warm, welcoming, friendly, funny, informative, curious, and all in all kind hosts. The music choice? Amazing. Wines? Incredible representation of French terroir. I could keep going on but I think I’d stay here writing forever. If I had to give this place any critiques, it would have to be against a standard that even the best restaurants in the world would have trouble consistently hitting. Visit while you can still get a reservation — Nicky and Emma are gunning for excellence in a city full of it, and they’re not just succeeding, they’re exceeding.

Retour Vesterbro is not just a steakhouse, but it's known for serving some of the best steaks in the city. The restaurant offers a cozy and romantic atmosphere with its warm lighting and friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. The food is generally good, but I have an issue with the portion size of the lobster ravioli pasta. It only includes three raviolis, five cherry tomatoes, and a small lobster tail—probably enough for a toddler. Aside from this dish, the food is fine, and the service is good.

Review: Excellent Food and Fast Service at Retour My girlfriend and I recently had dinner at Retour, where we enjoyed a three-course meal that delivered some truly memorable flavors — especially when it came to the main course. For the starter, we had salmon tataki with ponzu, harissa, spring onions, trout roe, and pine nuts. It was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. The portion was small but just right to start the meal. The only downside was the timing: it arrived almost immediately after we sat down, at the same time as the bread, which made the start of the meal feel a bit rushed. Still, the dish itself was excellent. The main course was where Retour truly impressed. We both had the 250g striploin with hand-cut fries and sauce Béarnaise, and it was fantastic — one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The fries were among the best I’ve ever tasted, crisp and golden, and the Béarnaise sauce was rich and well-balanced enough to stand on its own. Everything about this course felt perfectly executed. For dessert, we finished with a mazarin cake with yogurt mousse, dark chocolate, blackberry ice cream, and bee pollen. It was pleasant, though not quite on the same level as the first two dishes. Still, it made for a nice and light ending to the meal. The service was polite but felt a bit rushed, and the restaurant itself isn’t particularly cozy or atmospheric. However, the quality of the food more than made up for that — it’s the kind of meal you remember for its flavors rather than its setting. Overall, Retour delivered a truly delicious dinner, highlighted by an unforgettable steak and some of the best fries in Copenhagen. I’d happily return for the food alone.

i had the ribeye and it was delicious however if you’re paying with a non-danish card, be aware that you’re going to pay a 3% surcharge which is ridiculous if you ask me. i didn’t have enough DKK on me so i opted for my credit card but that caused unnecessary fees. it’s clearly stated on their menu card though.

I'm waiting my steak for an hour. I'm so hungry and walked in this place, I need to go back to work after this. It's wasting me too much time. What I ate here was overly salty soup, tasteless steak, ugly fries without ketchup... And they kept bothering me to take away the unfinished food. This steak tastes worse than any other restaurant steak I have ever had, even the steaks I cook myself are better than this. I almost fell asleep for waiting this kind of thing.😅🤬 Btw, When they handed the cutlery, they put it on the table without any tissue, which made me feel very dirty. I totally don't understand why anyone would eat at this restaurant. Won't come anymore.
Steven L — Google review
My go to steak 🥩 restaurant- never disappointed. The steaks are usually perfect 🤩- this time a little salty but still really really juicy and good. You get the rib eye and then you need to order the sides. The staff has always been friendly and competent. Nothing like getting I greeted with a smile every time. I always book off the website without issues.

Manfreds, located on Jaegersborggade since 2010, offers creative cuisine in a cozy setting with closely packed tables and 20 bar seats for walk-in guests. The restaurant is known for integrating natural wines into its farm-to-table ethos. Owned by Christian Puglisi, Manfreds prioritizes serving organic food and features a beverage menu that focuses on wines free from industrial manipulation, reflecting the terroir where they were harvested.
Manfreds will be remembered as our first phenomenal meal in Copenhagen. A glimpse of insight on Puglisi’s food (Manfreds is Relæ’s laid back sibling). Above all expectations and a truly wonderful experience. 90%-100% of produce they serve is organic, most of the vegetables and meat from their own farm and the wine is natural. Great people and even better playlist (Mac deMarco, Jack Johnson,...). We had 5 courses to share, family style and the signature tartare with cress and rye bread (sourdough). My favorite dishes were the poached egg in dashi with enoki mushrooms and grilled baby cabbage with pork neck. The signature tartar shouldn’t be missed as well. Make yourself a favor and GO THERE :)

A smallish resto which is kinda hard to get in. A fixed priced menu of mostly veggies. The waiter acted trying to be efficient but busy.. dont give enough time to describe the dishes. Hence we basically were eating green salad and appetizers plus one very cutely cut meat dish. Plating is conventional and does not leap the eye given the price , it was underwhelming.

The food was good, though definitely not comfort food (for a vegan at least!)... it was very simple and clean and I guess that’s ok, but definitely not mind-blowing. The main reason for 3 stars is that the service was really not great before we got a table, and not so good after, even! We tried to book a table, but they wouldn’t take reservations on the phone, and directed us to the website, and also said we probably didn’t need a reservation... However, the website gave an error. So we just turned up. We were told 15m wait. 15m later we were told 2m more. Then another 10m later we were told 2m more. Then about 40m after we arrived, I was a bit frustrated so I asked for more clarity, and finally they found us a table immediately (?? How long was that table free?). Then when we ordered the food (only 3 dished on the menu were vegan), there was a very long gap between the raw and cooked food. Unluckily I had all the raw dishes, so that meant I was eating alone for a good 10-15m and had finished my first two dishes by the time my friend’s dishes arrived. Add to that that the drinks menu is not much fun unless you drink wine - they don’t even have a caffeine free tea - and that justified the 3 stars in my view...

Coming in from a vegetarian culture, I guess I expect something different. To us this experience was decent but not extraordinary. The venue is somewhat like a bar and comfortable. I wouldn't go back a second time.

It was amazing! There are not many places in Copenhagen where you can get vegan food, here it was just deliciously vegan, plus you can take your carnivore friends and family here, they will definitely also like it. It's good food that happens to be vegan! So many delicious vegetables!
Gustav S — Google review
It was truly food dancing in my mouth as the tastes are surprisingly good! Definitely a recommendation if you like to have a good vegan experience. The staff is friendly and very professional. All the cutlery and plates, glasses are different. Circularity is definitely important :)

Vegetarian food at its best ! Baka da’Busk is a real gem in Copenhagen. The food was not only delicious but also a feast for the eyes, full of colors, creativity and flavor. The wine selection was spot on and paired beautifully with the dishes. The vibe of the place was fantastic with a relaxed and effortless flow to the service that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Bonus points for the great music selection that completed the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back !
Ben C — Google review
Our Airbnb host recommended Baka d’ Busk while we were in Copenhagen for two weeks, and I’m so glad we went. Tucked away in the cool Nørrebro neighbourhood, this place instantly feels like a local gem; relaxed, creative, and full of good energy. The owners have such a beautiful philosophy around food everything is grown with care, sourced locally, and celebrated for its natural flavour. You can tell how much heart they put into every dish, and the menu really lets organic seasonal vegetables and fruits take the spotlight. The food was incredible!! So fresh, full of texture and flavour, and the service was just lovely. My belly was so full and happy as the sun kissed our skin. I eat tomatoes all the time and absolutely love them. When i tasted the Danish tomatoes with hazelnut cream, shiso leaves and raspberries- This dish completely blew me away! Other highlights were the new potatoes with sorrel, cabbage, and yuzu beurre blanc, carrots, dill, white asparagus, green beans and spinach purée- YUMMY and the pickled radish with sweet nuts and honey — absolutely wow! Baka d’ Busk makes vegetables sing. I love how they prove that plant based dining can be exciting, comforting and deeply satisfying. When in Copenhagen, do yourself a favour and put this one high on your list!
Happy D — Google review
Baka d’ Busk completely exceeded my expectations. From the first bite to the last, every dish was packed with fresh flavors and clearly made with care. The menu is creative without being pretentious, and the portions are just right. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for enjoying great food without feeling rushed. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the experience — this one does. Highly recommend.

We just loved everything about this place! The food is beyond imagination! So tasty and unique flavors! The service is the sweetest people. And the atmosphere is just so chill and nice! Love it! ❤️
Electra K — Google review
Unfortunately not really convincing visit at this vegetarian restaurant. Lame humus without rich flavours, despite the pretty look. Pumpkin, carrot dish which could in theory convince with a variety of raw, baked, charred vegetables. Still it was not executed great, so you had cold carrots and a bit of tasteless leafs to pimp it up. The variation of beans with pimentos was the only good dish at this restaurant in all its simplicity. The service was a wide selection of young eclectic personas, more interested in their own growing appearance, than an honest basic customer service.
Raphael B — Google review
I had a glass of wine and a dessert and I was having a pleasure being served partly by Marie-Kristine. Working in the restaurant industry for 20+ years I just have to say this was an absolute pleasure to see that people still work like that in this industry. She worked beautifully. While constantly working extremely hard she still had an eye on what's going around her. Effortlessly she was having a chat with guests but keeping everything on the highest speed and standards. I must say the restaurant is lucky to have her working for the place.

Nimb Gemyse is a stunning venue that offers a unique blend of nature and culinary delight, perfect for hosting memorable events. Imagine celebrating your special day in an enchanting greenhouse surrounded by lush greenery, or enjoying an intimate reception at their exclusive restaurant. On Saturdays, couples can even share their first dance amidst the magical backdrop of Tivoli's fireworks. Located conveniently near Copenhagen City Hall, it’s an ideal spot for those planning a quick civil ceremony followed by a charming gathering.
Can’t praise this restaurant enough. A little gem in the busy Tivoli amusement park. It looks out of place, but if you want a quiet lunch in a nice environment, this IS the place! This vegetarian restaurant is so beautiful, full of plants and pumpkins 🎃 The service we received was superb. The waiter was attentive and always showed up at the right time. Food was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. I loved it!
Albert T — Google review
Really nice experience at Gemyse - that is located in the Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. 7 course-menu, including drinks. Vegetarian/vegan only. The restaurant is really cute and they were in the Michelin Guide in 2020. I don’t like corn that much, but my favorite dish was made 90% of corn! I strong recommend it!
Kátia C — Google review
Enchanting atmosphere with reasonably priced, seasonal dishes. The wait staff is lovely and works very together well as a team. Staff recommended three starters and a light option or two as a meal for two people. This was a good quantity and allowed you to try multiple things. It was hard to go wrong!
Alix R — Google review
Very intricate and unique dishes. The portions seem small but are filling. Favorite dish was the fried bread with sofritas, but everything taste great and looked great! I do think the prices are a little too high for the dishes as they do taste good, but are not breathtaking...
Sener G — Google review
Overall, this is a beautiful restaurant located in a really pretty name hotel with interval the park. It’s a kitschy place, and the price is rather high, but it’s a fun place to go especially when there’s outdoor concert happening on Friday evenings in the summer and Tivoli Gardens. The food here is pretty good and I had the tasting menu that included multiple courses. It is a lot of food and I was unable to finish it, but every course was delicious. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection. The best part about this is the ambience and the outdoor seating area where you could see the stage and the performance.
Lenore C — Google review
Very nice and cozy place. They have small bonfires outside, for making snobrød and pancakes and a beautiful garden with vegetables. The restaurant was also nice and cozy, and you can get a completely vegetarian 6 courses meal, that tasted delicious. It is expensive, but not that much if compared to other restaurants in Tivoli. Might even be cheaper than some of them.
Carolina P — Google review
Delightful dining experience with very good staff, and very high quality food. I would recommend the mushroom dish and the lobster, and the bread (when fresh) made with Kimchi liquid is also excellent. The Gemyse salad is fresh and crisp, but rather small and the fish was perfectly cooked. My only gripe is that the cauliflower had too much sauce.
Benjamin S — Google review
Amazing experience, beautiful interiors and lovely waitresses. Only negative is the plates are super small at lunch time but we were told this in advance so knew to order one of everything and share between 3.

Restaurant
Mirabelle Spisería is a Sicilian-inspired restaurant and wine bar by chef Christian F Puglisi, known for its all-day dining featuring breakfast-brunch and lunch-dinner menus. The establishment pays homage to its bakery roots with freshly baked focaccia and renowned sourdough bread available for takeout.
The chefs menu was great and so fairly priced! We left feeling satisfied and the perfect amount of full. Some standouts were the Roman rack-style spread, the fresh baked sourdough and the delicious eggplant parmigiana.
Anna W — Google review
Mirabelle in Nørrebro gets the fundamentals right. This cozy breakfast spot has its own bread workshop where you can actually watch the bakers working with the dough - it's pretty cool to see the process in action. I had their simple breakfast with bread, cheese, and a boiled egg, plus coffee. The coffee was really good, and the bread was absolutely fantastic - crispy, fresh sourdough that was clearly made on-site. You can taste the difference when bread is this fresh. They also offer homemade jams which are a nice touch. The cheese was a bit disappointing - seemed a bit past and didn't have much flavor. But honestly, the bread was so good it made up for it. What really made this place special was our Spanish waiter. Hands down the best service we experienced during our entire Copenhagen trip. He was thoughtful, knew his stuff, and genuinely attentive without being pushy. It's rare to find service like that these days. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the combination of excellent bread, great coffee, and good service makes this place worth going out of your way for. Definitely recommend.
Enric J — Google review
Mirabelle has a charming location that makes you want to linger, glass of wine in hand. The bread, olive oil, and charcuterie are top-notch — you can taste the quality before you even reach the mains. Service was warm and attentive, though my discount somehow slipped through the cracks. The pasta was a tale of two plates. The mafalde with cherry tomatoes arrived a little too “al fresco” — as in, cold — and the portions could use a touch more generosity. On the other hand, the farfalle with salsiccia, broccolini, and pecorino was a triumph: hot, hearty, and exactly what you hope for when ordering pasta. Prices are fair, making it an easy place to enjoy good food without feeling like you’ve been taken for a ride. A lovely spot with flashes of brilliance — just a little fine-tuning away from being consistently great.
Cathrine — Google review
We went there for breakfast and the seating and serving were fairly chaotic and slow. Additionally, they forgot the egg for the breakfast plate. Also, breakfast is only until 11:30 which is not indicated on the menu and even at 11:20 we were told that they will make an exception for us to serve breakfast. The food is good but not exceptional as the price would indicate. A bun with butter and cheese, 3 pieces of apple and a missing egg for 95 krones is quite expensive even for Copenhagen. Also, be aware that you have to pay for water which you don’t have to do at other places when you go for breakfast such as Andersen and Maillard or riviera.
Moritz Z — Google review
We just had cheese and cold cuts, they were nice and flavourful. Nice sourdough bread but the crust was baked too hard for my liking. Nice wines. Really nice setting.
Øyvind G — Google review
We all agree that the bread was fantastic and the Sicilian specialty was really great. The spaghetti dish was very tasty and had a good aftertaste. So a very good experience here in Nørrebro. Bigger servings would have pushed it to 5 stars
Michael E — Google review
Excellent. Nice tight menu, well balanced delicious food, and friendly staff who provided great recommendations. Try the farfalle with salsiccia and brocolli.
Fredrik O — Google review
As the sister restaurant of Bæst, renowned as Copenhagen’s best pizza spot, I had high hopes for my first breakfast visit to Mirabelle—and I was NOT disappointed. The MBO, sourdough bun with cheese, and the whole sourdough loaf I took home all fully lived up to my expectations. Copenhagen is arguably one of the most competitive markets in the world for sourdough bread and buns, so the bar is set incredibly high. Mirabelle delivers exceptional quality. Their bread is soft, tender, and has that amazing melt-in-your-mouth sourdough flavor. It’s the best I’ve encountered in Copenhagen. Well done, Puglisi and team! If you’re a sourdough lover, I highly recommend visiting Mirabelle for breakfast. You won’t be disappointed!

(Translated by Google) Overall a good experience. Good drinks. Pleasant atmosphere. Sweet staff. The food generally good but the moules frites were prepared with coconut milk and were too sweet, it didn't really work for us. (Original) Generelt en god oplevelse. Gode drinks. Hyggelig stemning. Sødt personale. Maden generelt god men moules frites var tilberedt med kokosmælk og var for sødt, det fungerede ikke rigtig for os.

(Translated by Google) Delicious food, could perhaps use a bit of polish. The reason for 3 stars is that the food just lacks the finishing touch and that it took 30 minutes before we got our dessert. (Original) Lækkert mad, kunne måske godt fine pudset lidt. Grunden til 3 stjerner er at maden lige mangle det sidste puds og at der gik 30 minutter før vi fik vores dessert.

(Translated by Google) It was simply the best service we have ever received anywhere in KBH, really welcoming and funny waiter (Ben) who really could deliver the goods as he had everything under control 🤩 the food was extremely tasty and it was ensured that there was always enough of the accessories. Wine, beer and drinks were super👍 Definitely not the last time we eat here 👍😁 Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of the main course (Ribeye Steak) but it was spot-on as a starter and the dessert was 👏👍😁🤩 (Original) Det var simpelthen den bedste betjening vi nogensinde har fået noget sted i KBH, virkelig imødekommende og sjov tjener (Ben) der virkelig kunne levere varen da han havde styr på alt🤩 maden var særdeles velsmagende og der blev sørget for at der hele tiden var nok af tilbehøret. Vin, øl og drinks var super👍 Bestemt ikke sidste gang vi spiser her 👍😁 Jeg glemte desværre at få et billede af hovedretten (Ribeye Steak) men den var spot-on som forret og desserten var 👏👍😁🤩
