If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Korea, look no further than 종로돈부리. This charming eatery specializes in donburi, which is essentially a bowl of rice topped with an array of delicious ingredients. The menu is thoughtfully organized, offering options like sakedon—featuring fresh salmon—and katsudon, which showcases crispy fried pork cutlet.
Fresh food, clean and modern interior, reasonable price. Great place for a little treat for maself/ date with friends or bf/gf!

Had a bowl of rice mixed with avocado and natto. Delicious and neat. Menu is well organized. Although the restaurant is not very spacious, there is an upper floor and even a single person can have a decent meal with no companion. Thx.

Sakedon & Katsudon & Potato goroke ‘don’ means a rice bowl. ‘sake’ means a salmon. ‘katsu’ means a fried pork(pork cutlet).

Korean restaurant
If you're in the Jongno area and craving something hearty, look no further than "종로 곱 육개장" (Jongro Gobbukgaejang). This specialty restaurant serves a delightful version of Yukgaejang, a traditional Korean spicy beef soup that warms you up on chilly days. While the instant ramen version may not capture all the authentic flavors, it still offers a tasty experience.
Little spicy, but good taste One of my favorites

(Translated by Google) I was satisfied with a hearty meal of Jongno Beef Yukgaejang in Gwansu-dong, Jongno. It seemed to be confirmed that the restaurant was popular as the store was filled with customers who came to eat during lunch time and the number of customers waiting was increasing. Yukgaejang and tripe yukgaejang were both delicious. The texture of the tripe and yukgaejang was good, and the clean, spicy taste was very satisfying. Among the side dishes, the seasoned chives went very well with the beef stew. It was heartening to eat the spicy beef stew with rice. The staff were friendly. The store is also clean and well maintained. It is a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. I want to go back to this delicious beef stew restaurant. (Translated by Google) Yukgaejang located near Jongno Station I went to the specialty restaurant Jongro Gobbukgaejang. Visited around 8pm, well after dinner time. Even though I did it, I met people who were already eating. There were many people having a drink. What was particularly surprising was that the younger generation Elderly people coexisting together It seemed like a place with no likes or dislikes. I like the signature menu, Gobbukgaejang. I ordered it and it wasn't boiling. It came out reasonably warm. It wasn't big, but it was a lot. It contained brisket, sujuk, vermicelli, etc. The ingredients were plentiful. When I ate tripe with soup, it turned out to be tripe. I liked the unique savory taste. The beef stew itself was not spicy or salty. It went well with chives and seaweed. It was my first time eating tripe and yukgaejang, but next time. I want to enjoy it with alcohol and want to pay the bills. There was also Seong Si-kyung’s autograph. Neoguri, which translates to "raccoon" in Korean, is a beloved ramen that has captured the hearts of food enthusiasts worldwide. Renowned for its rich seafood flavor, thanks to the inclusion of dried Kombu sheets, Neoguri features thicker noodles that set it apart from other instant ramens. It offers a variety of options including mild and spicy versions, as well as unique flavors like curry and mala.

(Translated by Google) There are some unique menus, but overall, the menus are all sweet and have a slightly bland taste. I wonder if this is what MZ likes. The prices are a bit high, and the service is so-so. If you simply call the staff instead of ordering a menu, they won't come even after pressing twice... Since the menus were too sweet, I ordered soft tofu to have a spicy and refreshing taste, but it was the sweetest soft tofu stew in the world. This was a bit too much. I wonder if young customers like it (Original)

(Translated by Google) The food selection is diverse, and the entrance concept is quite appealing. However, the main flavors, especially the liver and main course, are overly sweet. There's no soundproofing at all, so even with a large crowd or one or two noisy groups, it's so loud that conversation is impossible.

Ramen restaurant
Oreno Ramen Insa is a bustling spot, often with lines forming even after 2pm on weekdays. The chicken breast in the Hainanese chicken rice is exceptionally tender and juicy, while the rich and creamy soup has a delightful smoky flavor. This Michelin-recommended restaurant offers a delectable chicken paitan ramen with perfectly cooked noodles, eggs, and caramelized onions. The portion sizes are generous, flavors are rich, and prices are reasonable.
The exterior was the cutest and tucked away, so I was already anticipating good food. The ordering was also simple. They had 1 dish (another indication of good food): chicken ramen. You choose either spicy or non (but do choose spicy!). Then you can choose to add pork or egg. The noodles did not disappoint! The chicken was like a cloud, so light and delicious! The egg was soft boiled. Amazing. The service was very courteous and attentive. You can even ask for more noodles or rice! It's the perfect spot for chicken ramen lovers.
Ham T — Google review
Being a ramen enthusiast myself, I couldn't let the chance of trying this Michelin rated and supposedly best ramen in Seoul slip by. They have multiple outlets in town so it should generally not be an issue to locate one nearby your metro station. I came to this branch and it is conveniently situated just right outside of Anguk metro station. It was in an alley so do pay attention or simply navigate with your Naver app. I arrived on a late lunch hour and there were not many customers. I was led to make an order with the ordering machine with the assistance of a staff member. The menu was simple which made ordering an easy one. I got their must-try tori paitan ramen with added chasiu and marinated egg. You can opt for their complimentary cilantro if you so wish. My order came rather quick and I was greeted with what looked like a ordinary ramen bowl but the looks can be deceiving. I took a sip of the quintessential broth and was immediately blown away by the richness and the aroma of it. The flavors were intense yet they didn't overwhelm. I believe this balancr was achieved with their main chicken broth infused with some pork elements as stated. The almost creamy and milky texture gave a very satisfying soup slurping experience here. I was also glad that I added the chasiu because not only did it imbued the dish with a flavorful porky goodness, the melt-in-your-mouth texture was heavenly. The slices of chicken breasts weren't too bad either. It was lightly seasoned with evident peppery taste and the meat was very tender unlike some chewy breast meat. The quality of noodles were also very commendable. The bouncy and springy texture hit the perfect spot of what a ramen noodles should be like. The egg was adequately marinated and provided some umami punch especially with the egg yolk. Just be aware that your bowl of ramen already came with one so you do not need to add egg like I did. Now here was what I truly liked about the place, they would serve you extra broth or rice if you requested for it and they also don't stinge on it as seen from what they gave me. This deserves a big plus as I simply couldn't get enough of their broth. Overall I was very pleased with the taste and quality of the ramen here. I am not surprised that they garnered such reputation after trying it myself. I would highly recommend Oreno Ramen and I myself will certainly revisit when I get the chance.
Boon C — Google review
The ramen was very good, we chose the non spicy chicken version. There was a line and it is a little small inside however the seats turn over quickly and the line then moved along. Ordering was at a kiosk as soon as you enter and then you’re seated. The food arrived quickly and you may ask for extra soup or noodles. It was a little tricky to find, following a small ally from the Main Street in, around the back of the building and up an outside staircase. Not too hard as there are signs posted to assist.
Mike E — Google review
You won’t go wrong coming here! Be prepared for a wait — we queued about 40 minutes before getting inside. The place is small, so groups of more than two may need to split seating. There are only two items on the menu: original or spicy broth ramen, served with free pickled radish. Every spoonful of the soup is worth savouring — rich, flavourful, and packed with collagen goodness. 💰 ₩12,000 a bowl 🍜 Simple menu, incredible taste. Definitely worth the wait!
Patricia L — Google review
The broth really surprised me, light but still full of flavour, and the eggs were spot on, soft and creamy inside. The only thing I’d change is the meat; I prefer it a bit more browned. We waited around 30 minutes in the queue, but it was totally worth it. The staff were quick and super friendly
Sara — Google review
It’s a good bowl of ramen but we queued for a good 1 hour 15 min so… if there wasn’t any queue and I was craving for a good bowl of ramen I’ll be up for it. The chicken pieces were tender and moist, added on the pork belly slices which were great too.
Ting T — Google review
Long queue expected but moves quite fast and well worth the wait. Chicken slices were cooked perfectly and the ramen egg was top notch. The spicy version is flavourful but too spicy for me (for reference I can take mala on mild spicy) but I thoroughly enjoyed the non spicy version. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Home Run for Meat Lovers! I'm a huge BBQ enthusiast, and this place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the smell was incredible. The Food: We ordered the Dropwkrt Kimchi Samgyeop and Musoe Kimchi Samgyeop. The Vibe: The restaurant had a great, lively atmosphere. It was clean and had a real authentic feel. First time here. They only have 1 type of meat, the pork belly! They help you cook the food in front of you. Must order 1 portion per customer. Order rice with your bbq pork belly and they will fried the rice for you with the leftover on the hot plate. #myeongdongfood #musoukimchiporkmyeobgdong Reservation is a must. Located on the 2nd floor. There is elevator or you can walk up just 2 flights of stairs. The entrance to the building is very narrow.

Awesome restaurant in the heart of Myeongdong on the 2nd floor overlooking a shopping street. The pork belly is excellent and really delicious. The vegetables are really refreshing. We loved the japchae and the dipping sauces added amazing flavor. It was raining and a little cold so this was exactly the type of super satisfying meal that we needed. Highly recommend.

Smelt the bbq from the streets and decided to try it out. The food was delicious. The special dipping sauce is really good. Our favourite! Also, try the pineapple Fanta! It was really refreshing. Love how everything is iPad based so ordering was very easy. Service was great too, they cook and cut up the food for you!

Kimchi pork belly!!! The environment is really nice, with good air conditioning. Very friendly and kind staffs. Meat has to be ordered 1 portion per person. Staff will help to cook in front of you. Vegetables for wrapping are really fresh as well. Highly recommended!!

Kimchi and pork belly, a classic Korean pairing, is a dish that never fails to ignite my taste buds. The moment this plate was placed in front of me, I was greeted by an enticing aroma—a tantalizing blend of the spicy, tangy scent of fermented kimchi and the rich, savory fragrance of sizzling pork belly.

Ramen restaurant
Menten is a small, precise ramen restaurant in South Korea that offers great value for money. With only 8 seats available, customers often have to wait in line before the restaurant opens. The ordering process is automated through a machine at the front, and customers can input their information and order using Google Translate if needed. The menu offers two ramen flavors: shoyu and spicy, both of which are consistently delicious.
Absolute banger of a ramen. The broth is rich in flavor. The egg cooked to perfection with yolk flowing like nectar (definitely recommend 2 eggs while ordering). While wait can be a bit long, it’s well worth it. They even accommodated us and let us in past the last order time. Nothing to be seen about a rude chef which is mentioned in multiple comments.
Torsten O — Google review
The best ramen I’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommended! It’s a very small place run by one man who clearly just wants to make the best ramen and not mess around. Seats 6-8 people. We arrived when it opened and got it right away. You order on the machine, one of two types of ramen. Had the shoyu and it was so good.
David P — Google review
Just spicy and shoyu options, anything else. The shoyu one isn’t so tasty. They close at Wednesday and anywhere tells you it. Just physical cards and cash, no digital payment is allowed. 12.000 Korean money is a lot for a basic ramen.
Luiza F — Google review
Delicious noodles! I got the non-spicy soup and my husband got the spicy was which was lacking in meat. The spicy soup had the meet ground up so didn’t feel like there was much but the non-spices had large chunks of tender meat. Short wait outside. No kids allowed.
Cyndy — Google review
After 6 attempt to try this ramen, wasn't totally disappointed but not exactly worth all the trouble to try. I had the temmen ramen. The noodles were good, soft boiled egg was good, but the broth was too salty and not spicy. This dish does have peanuts. Service was great but they have limited seating space of 8 max. We had a party of 6 but was split up. The restaurant atmosphere was well design but felt rushed to eat with all the on lookers and limited seats. Over all 3.5/5 *. Would go back for a bowl of ramen if no line, if there is I will not bother to wait anymore.
Kong L — Google review
Everything here is precise. The food is identical every time, the service is automated and impersonal, but exact. You are allowed in as any of the 8 seats open, you place your order by touchscreen system for one of the two ramen flavors, and you wait. The owner will bring you any drinks and serve your ramen as he is able without disrupting the quality of the food he is creating. The shoyu has every element cooked to perfect texture. The tantamen is peanut driven and has a perfect amount of numbing peppers that you can taste, but don't get numbed until just as you have finished the dish.
Keenan C — Google review
Went here today after we saw a queue. Not open all the time, worth getting here slightly before they open to not wait too long in the queue. Very small space but food is gorgeous. Think the noodles are home made, soy soup was perfection. Definitely one of the better ramen places I've been to.
Erika A — Google review
This is the second night we are here .. Enjoyed the ramen here. Owner the Chef was trained in Japan and opened up his shop her. The guy is a perfectionist as all of his pork slices and chicken meat were just right. Finished all the soup. If you are Singaporean get the spicy one which is light add the bamboo shoots and egg. I promise you .. you will love it

Grilled pork ribs, also known as 烤排骨, is a popular dish with a savory and slightly spicy flavor. It is often enjoyed at beer restaurants and pairs well with drinks like soju. The dish can be found in small, cozy establishments where customers can choose from a variety of snacks and ramen options. Despite its popularity, the restaurant serving 烤排骨 may be challenging to locate due to its unassuming storefront.

As you pass through the alleys where Euljiro industrial companies are located, it appears out of nowhere. I ordered the signature pork ribs. I would say the taste is just delicious, but it's not bad. First, light the pork ribs. You can order from 2 people. Basic side dishes are also provided, which are delicious and good as snacks. They have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and also sell some snacks and food that can be eaten as snacks. Since it is a Gamaek restaurant, you can also eat the snacks they sell there as snacks. It's not a clean image (but it's not dirty. It's just that the surrounding buildings and roads feel old...), but there are many light snacks that are good to eat. The menus are a bit disappointing for the first go, but it's perfect for the second go. As soon as you enter, there are 5 to 6 tables in the cozy interior. Although there is space on the second floor to accommodate groups of guests, it doesn't seem to be that spacious... To fill my hungry stomach, I ordered pork ribs first. There is nothing to criticize about the taste or the strength of the seasoning. If the price is 13,000 won per person, the quality is judged to be good. The amount of red pepper paste stew was large, but I personally found it somewhat disappointing that the pumpkin flavor in the soup was too strong... LA ribs cost 25,000 won for 400g... The taste was sweet but not too overpowering. Personally, I liked it because the bones were not that big and the meat was soft. Lastly, Chapagetti... First of all, the visual is foul... The visual of Chapagetti cooked by itself and topped with a half-boiled fried egg... The taste... so delicious that I'm speechless... If you boil Chapagetti in its own soup, in normal cases, the noodles and broth have no choice but to play separately... However, this Chapagetti is made with curly noodles, homemade broth, and egg yolk, and one bite of kkakdugi made by the owner is enough for a day. I feel like all my worries evaporate in an instant... So to speak, a bar with a hip retro feel these days... A place where you want to have a drink with your loved ones... Hongdae Seoul Hotteok is located in the vibrant and creative area of Hongdae, known for its alternative atmosphere and artistic expression. The neighborhood is home to numerous specialty shops run by young fashion designers, offering unique and customized items that cannot be found elsewhere. With its proximity to Dongdaemun wholesale market, designers have easy access to materials and stay updated on the latest trends.
They make proper old school sweet pancakes. We got the classic and the cheesy hotteok and I recommend that you give the cheesy one a try. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and salty with condensed milk and cheese. It was so good that we had to go back and get a second one to share!

Heard about this place and heard it's famous for their hotteok. Been wanting to find a good one in Seoul but wasn't able to find one until I came across this place. I have to say in the past the better hotteoks are the one found in Busan. Visited on a weekday evening and it wasn't crowded, there was just another guy in front of me waiting for his order. I saw there were quite a few items avaliable in the menu, there was this heart hotteok which is quite popular and instagrammable but I didn't order that as I just wanted something original. I decided to get an original and one with ice cream since the weather was quite warm. Waited for quite a while as the hotteoks are all made to order. Was there standing in front of the little shop and watching the guy preparing my order. This is more like a takeout counter there isn't any seats to sit and dine on the spot. However I was there standing in front of the stall eating after I got my order and it was fine as there weren't other customers around. I thought the hotteok was quite nice, though it was a little too thick and was quite sweet. I loved the stickiness and the chewiness of the hotteok. I thought the ice cream concept was quite interesting but given a choice would just stick to the original one. It was good to eat it with ice cream on a hot day but would be equally satisfying with just a normal one. Decent hotteoks and relatively reasonable prices. Had 2 and it was very filling. Could actually just eat this as a normal meal, simple and cheap.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than "재우일식." The thin, chewy noodles are perfect for enjoying with chopsticks, and the umami-packed broth complements an array of fresh seafood beautifully. For just 12,000 won, you can enjoy a delightful meal that includes ramen and kimbap prepared by two friendly owners who are passionate about their food.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than 윤이불닭발역촌점. This trendy spot has quickly gained popularity among food enthusiasts, especially those who love spicy dishes. Known for its delicious chicken feet, this restaurant offers an array of options that will tantalize your taste buds. On my first visit, I decided to try their soup chicken feet set and was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary Chinese noodles they provided!
(Translated by Google) I usually really enjoy eating chicken feet~~ I was having trouble finding a good restaurant when I came across Yooni Buldakbal~ I ordered it half in doubt and ate it~~ It was totally 👍 delicious^^ On the first day, I ordered the soup chicken feet set, and they even gave me Chinese noodles for free. They even gave me two juicy cools~~ My two daughters were totally into it, so today they ordered the boneless chicken feet and soup chicken feet set. I'm so happy that there's Yooni Buldak in my neighborhood. It's the best. Thank you so much, owner^^ I think I'll definitely be a regular here~~ (Original)
