Japanese restaurant
Ramen restaurant
Soba noodle shop
Tokio Dining is a delightful culinary gem that brings the authentic flavors of Japan to your plate. This charming eatery, led by Keiko Allgaier, offers a diverse menu that goes beyond traditional sushi and sashimi. Guests can indulge in comforting ramen, crispy gyoza, and unique dishes like Dashitamago omelets and Takoyaki dumplings.
We came here for the first time and absolutely loved the food and the service! We were in Japan a couple months ago and were missing all of the tasty food. Therefore we were happy to have found that same great taste in Stuttgart! There was also very friendly and kind service! Definitely Recommend!
Rachelle S — Google review
Staff is very polite, attentive and cute! 🥢 We were unlucky I think, miso and ramen was wonderful, but sushi took like an hour to arrive and it was falling apart easily, not uniquely good tasting as well. However desert and staff politeness was sweet enough to not worry about it 🍜
Mathe S — Google review
Tokyo Dining was a combination of relaxed dining with 5 star food! The Wasabi Ebi Tempura was incredible and the sushi was devine! The service was impeccable! Will be back and highly recommend for groups (we had a table for 9) or date night with your special someone!
David H — Google review
I couldn’t recommend this place more! The restaurant has a very cosy and homely atmosphere and the staff were very happy to chat with us. The food was absolutely delicious, they had a wide range of all types of alcohol and anything you could want in a Japanese restaurant. The waiter we had(I didn’t get the name, but we spoke about him being from Osaka) could not have been friendlier! A must visit for anyone wanting Japanese food in Stuttgart
Alex M — Google review
Soba noodle is very nice, to be honest nice atmosphere too. Great ambience for lunch & dinner. Totally recommended. Our experience was partially ruined because the waiter suddenly asked to take anime photo for us using chatgpt even without waiting for our answer. We did anyway out of politeness. But the story didn’t stop there as he asked for our WhatsApp to send the anime photo. Again without waiting for our answer. He was polite, that’s no doubt. We were taken aback with the whole anime photo situation.

Authentic Japanese restaurant, which is really run by Japanese people. Lots of typical dishes and not just sushi. To order, you have to fill out a form with numbers for each table, which is a bit strange. Nevertheless, something wrong was served later. But this was refunded. Reservations are necessary, otherwise you might not get a table.
Tom — Google review
Good variety of typical Japanese dishes besides sushi/sashimi. On the pricey side but worth the treat once in awhile. Loved the dessert concept of a sprouting pot plant (ice-cream with crumbly chocolate on top)

Japanese restaurant
Crab house
Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in the southern part of Stuttgart, Restaurant Kicho has been a beloved destination for over three decades, drawing in enthusiasts of traditional Japanese cuisine. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere adorned with authentic Japanese decor, offering various dining experiences—whether you prefer sitting at a table, enjoying sushi at the bar, or relaxing on tatami mats in a cozy Japanese room.
Great Japanese authentic restaurant in the heart of Stuttgart! I enjoyed the food, great variety of sushi at a reasonable price. Service was very fast, the two Masters at the sushi counter were friendly as the waiter who served us. The atmosphere was identical to the one you can find in Japan. Will be back!
Pier W — Google review
We visited nearly 15 Japanese restaurants across various European cities (including Düsseldorf) between February and April—each run by Japanese chefs—and Kicho in Stuttgart stands out as one of the very best. We dined at Kicho for lunch in April and returned in early August for both lunch and dinner. One unique feature is their traditional Japanese zashiki room, with authentic tatami mats, which adds to the immersive dining experience. The food is exceptional and truly authentic (the taste might be slightly salty for Japanese). The service is warm, quick and attentive, and the pricing is more than reasonable for the quality offered. For lunch, on both visits, we chose the Large Sushi set (€25.50), which included a chef’s greeting and miso soup—excellent value for money. For dinner, we tried the Tempura Menu (€60.00), which included five assorted starters (oyster, radish, chicken, okra, and wagyu croquette—subject to change), a daily special (I had sashimi), a generous serving of tempura, and dessert. Every course was beautifully prepared and delicious. The sake selection is not extensive, but what they offer is well-curated, and you can enjoy high-quality sake that pairs beautifully with the dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed each visit and will definitely return to Kicho whenever we're in Stuttgart.
Nori I — Google review
Although I enjoyed all the dishes at Kicho, I had to give 4 out of 5 due to the service. My server forgot about my order that I had to remind him of it once again. Staff are not generally so friendly. Since it was an important business lunch meeting, it took longer and I excused myself but had to feel quite uncomfortable about it.
Jay K — Google review
Not all sushi are the same: at Kicho is where quality meets perfection I have been here since 3 years and only have my Stuttgart sushi here, it’s really the best The fried chicken is AMAZING!! Also Try out the Kobe sushi and Aubergine
Tz Y — Google review
Absolutely perfect from food to service, almost like I was back in Japan. We both took a menu, I think it was E, and every course was well-prepared and delicious.
Jojo — Google review
It’s an authentic Japanese food. So fresh, the taste not overpowering. It was just perfect. It made more special is they have tatami room. The service was also excellent! Will come again and try different menu.

29 July, 2023 Apologies to my followers, I'm not inspired to write a companion story for this review. I've struggled with rating Kicho. I've visited several times and I've always liked it. However, I was not so impressed with my last visit. The fish is very fresh, with ample color and flavor. However, their sushi rolls seem rather bland to me and could use other ingredients to pick them up. I also felt the eel was overpriced. I get that the eel is expensive, but other items could be served with it other than just rice so I don't feel cheated. I usually give three stars to a restaurant that I don't plan on returning to. This doesn't mean the food was bad, in most cases the food is enjoyable enough. However, I feel that Kicho deserves more than a three for serving quality fish, which can be hard to come by, and a large variety of fish. My final rating is 4/5, "Kicho serves quality fish but lacks creativity and execution when it comes to sushi rolls."
Kevin S — Google review
I am really sorry but I was utterly disappointed with the food that Kicho had to offer. An authentic Japanese cuisine and that too a renowned one cannot only just thrive by just serving good Sushi/Sashimi. I went to try out what other Kicho had to offer apart from their known Sushi. The ramen was the biggest disappointment. The broth lacked the texture and the taste. The broth was really thin and watery, the meat was well marinated though. My suggestion would be that Kicho can only be enjoyed when one only plans on having Sushi! For other dishes like Ramen, Karaage there are lot of good options in and around Stuttgart.

Ramen restaurant
Umami Ramen Stuttgart is a delightful eatery that focuses on authentic Japanese ramen bowls and delicious fried dumplings. The restaurant stands out not only for its inviting atmosphere but also for the meticulous preparation of its signature broths, which are simmered with pork bones for over twelve hours to achieve that rich umami flavor. Diners can choose from various ramen options, including vegetarian selections made with seaweed or chicken broth, making it an excellent choice for those looking to explore beyond traditional German soups.
I usually stop by for a short visit around 8 pm it’s the busiest, but the food arrives quickly after ordering. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient, which makes the whole experience even better. Prices are also fair with a starter, main dish and a beer, it usually comes to around €25–30.
Luca — Google review
I went twice and had the same experience. The food was pretty good, though I didn’t expect the meat to come out looking like hamburger meat for my ramen. I also had the same server twice and I didn’t really get a welcoming feeling from them. Like I was wasting their time. But they were quick on getting the food out so that’s a plus
Sugarod E — Google review
Food was great , and this restaurant is always full but it was a really nice experience. Prices are good and a very cool environment. Staff is very friendly and well
M S — Google review
The ramen broth is flavourful and portions are great. However, the chicken had some weird bits and felt too fatty. Tables were full when we got there and we sat one of the tables outside which was a bit cramped. The service can be a little slow but it is understandable considering the busyness. Apart from these it is worth visiting. 👍
Tua K — Google review
Was really good food and really good service! The waitress was really nice with our daughter and give it us a special chopstick and really cute cup! In general we love it!! The only downside was it is too hot in there, but the food was too good to don’t eat there for that reason!! We recommended it 😊👍🏼
Nicole M — Google review
For those seeking an authentic Japanese ramen experience in Stuttgart, "Umami Ramen" comes highly recommended. The restaurant is ideally situated in the heart of the city centre, making it a perfectly convenient destination for a meal while exploring the urban landscape. The accessibility of its location is a notable advantage for both residents and visitors alike. The authenticity of the experience was further affirmed by the presence of what appeared to be Japanese chefs in the kitchen, adding a layer of credibility to the culinary execution. The dish I ordered was the Tonkotsu ramen, and I had some initial reservations due to a personal preference for less salty cuisine. However, these concerns were quickly put to rest. The broth was not excessively salty and presented a beautifully balanced flavour profile, demonstrating a masterful command of taste. The accompanying pork topping was seasoned to perfection, avoiding the common pitfalls of being either too dry or overcooked. Its texture was tender yet retained a satisfying bite, and the noodles themselves were cooked al dente, complementing the broth wonderfully and creating a harmonious overall taste. If one is unable to embark on a journey of over 13 hours to Japan to authentic ramen, a visit to Umami Ramen offers an excellent and highly satisfying alternative.
Patrick P — Google review
Very good ramen! I had the vegetarian spicy miso ramen which was delicious 🤤 We also ordered the vegetarian bowl and some other ramen options with meat and all the options were very good. The matcha ice cream in the end was a perfect way to end the meal :)

Japanese restaurant
Kikuya is a top Japanese restaurant in Stuttgart that offers delicious sushi, tempura and noodle soups, as well as bento boxes. The atmosphere is amazing - comfortable and beautiful with Japanese-style murals. The food is superb and the service friendly.
Service Pretty fast and courteous. Was surprised the meal came out as fast as it did. Maybe 5 minutes after ordering it was brought to the table. Food I ordered the Beef Ramen and Parmeasran tuna sushi with a Tokyo Mule. The ramen was pretty good and the fried onions were very nice to a add a bit of crunch. A little spicy but nothing out of control. The only issue was it seemed like there should be more noodles/ramen in the dish. The sushi was creamy and paired very well with the ramen.  There was plenty of ginger, cucumber and mint in everything and I loved it. Recommendation One of the better Ramen places I have been to in awhile with delicious food and ridiculously fast service. If you are in the area it is definitely a must to stop by.
JB — Google review
Not a good sushi place. My partner and I wanted to try this out after walking past the restaurant and reading the founding story, thinking it would be authentic. It's not. It's also not good. Food: Karaage - 3/10 bland, not crunchy, batter tasted very soft, chicken was dry Sushi - 3/10 they forgot to season the rice. The sushi rice did not have vinegar in it and the roles were very similar and overpriced for the fish quality Drink - 1/10 Ginger Fizz. I had to return mine since it tasted like sugar water & still after making another one it was not drinkable Service: not unfriendly but not welcoming, we felt more like a nuisance. One guy barely spoke German, he could've spoken English to us instead of not saying anything at all. Not once did anyone ask us how the food or drinks were, even after we left half the plate uneaten. Atmosphere: lights are too bright, they were still playing Christmas music. We could hear Chinese staff arguing in the kitchen. Restrooms were dirty and stinky. We paid 87,70€ for it and will never return.
Truc D — Google review
I ordered at home. It would have been better if I bought supermarket sushi. I didn't like the rice and the tuna was tasteless. Tako yaki was nice and warm.
Sevil K — Google review
One of the best ramen I’ve had in Germany! You can taste it from the richness of the broth. I also just knew that the noodles are handmade, and it’s the perfect chewiness. The restaurant has the prefect ambience and quick service. My food came in around 10 minutes, which was very fast! Also applies to the other tables as well. I wil definitely try their bento next time!
Lieke W — Google review
Really nice atmosphere in this Japanese restaurant. I really liked the fact that we had to take off our shoes to join the low table. The sushis were really good. Staff was friendly but they forgot our soups. We realized only when they brought us our sushis and we did not want to ask for it then. Well, except from that a good experience.
Clémence B — Google review
Actual rating us like 3.5 stars. I ordered the Lachs Teri Shake Ramen. It's decent, but not authentic and the modern twist didn't quite work. Noodles texture was ok. The salmon felt like a typical western thing which is salmon filet with standard teriyaki sauce. And I don't think it works in a soup. Broth was a bit weak in taste, and the addition of fried onion seems like a cover-up of the broth taste. Bean sprouts were limp, and not the usual crunchy ones expected from Asian places. Service was ok, but looks understaffed.
Junhoe L — Google review
Meals, drinks and cocktails are very tasty and for me the perfect size! The Service is friendly 😊 The ambiente is so comfortable and beautiful! My favorite Japanese restaurant in Stuttgart ❤️

It's delicious, but the menu is complicated (too few details written) if you're not familiar with the Japanese traditional cuisine. The menu is also without pictures. The prices are a bit high.

Ramen Kurose is a Japanese restaurant located in the Stuttgarter Westen area, offering a variety of popular soup specialties such as Tonkotsu Ramen and Shoyu Ramen. The menu includes traditional Japanese starters like gyoza and edamame, as well as mochi and taiyaki desserts. Additionally, they offer the option to have ramen prepared with udon noodles.

I give just 5 because I can’t give more. The place is very clean, family friendly and the tables have enough place in between. The service is excellent; friendly, attentive and helpful and super kids friendly. The menu is small but traditional and very delicious. The food is seasoned on point with fresh ingredients. I will definitely come back!

This ramen restaurant is one of the best I've been to in Germany! I ordered the Kara miso ramen and combined it with an egg and it was very tasty! The broth was rich and flavourful and the staff was also very friendly. I am definitely coming back to try more dishes!
Nadia_mn15 M — Google review
An unexpectedly good ramen restaurant in Feuerbach and an easy recommendation if you're in the area! The octopus balls and karamiso ramen I ordered were delicious. The menu consists primarily of ramen and Japanese curries, plus the usual Japanese starters (gyōza, edamame, wakame...) and mochi and taiyaki desserts. All ramen can optionally be prepared with udon noodles.
Ilias C — Google review
This is a genuine Japanese ramen house with an expanded menu that includes many delicious items beyond just ramen (such as curry rice and gyoza!). The chef Kazu-San is a master of his craft and the server Masato-San is a wonderful addition to the restaurant! We cannot recommend this establishment enough and hope people will come to support them.
SJ W — Google review
Newly opened Ramen in Feuerbach - great selection of soup base, well prepared noodles, can only recommend it. Try the vegetarian noodles for something unique or the classic Shoyu and Miso Ramen. Also the chicken karaage taste good. Overall a perfect and welcome addition to the restaurants in Feuerbach!

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Stuttgart, CUBE Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its modern dishes infused with Asian and Mediterranean flavors. Located on the top floor of the Art Museum, this stylish space boasts expansive windows that provide stunning city views, making it an ideal spot for a romantic date or special celebration. While it may be on the upscale side in terms of pricing, patrons find that the panoramic vistas and great atmosphere make it well worth it.
Went here for a special lunch and it exceeded our expectations. Food was incredible and you can’t beat the location and view. We had the Ramen and Sea Bass, could have eaten ten portions! 4/5 stars for service because they seemed to forget we didn’t order our main meal so it was delayed.
Andy B — Google review
How should I praise the perfect menu I had here at CUBE, I would say it's better than most Michelin stars gourmet restaurants, period!!! Appetizer is seaweed seasoned with Eastern style sauce and mixed with cashew, the delicate taste came along with crunchy texture, what a good way to start. Followed by Canadian Pike Carppacio, Spicy Thai Soup, Scallop, New Zealand Fillet (medium rare), and ended with Apricot Mojito, everything was not just perfect, astonishingly delicious. Will definitely bring my family and friends here soon.
Bill L — Google review
The view from restaurant Cube is second to none in Stuttgart. Every dish we had was outstanding and left my wife and I feeling very satisfied with our choice. Our server Robert was very helpful in explaining the menu, and was overall extremely pleasant in having conversation. I would recommend wearing some light comfortable clothes because it does get a little warm in the restaurant. Perfect for a date night with your loved one, or a small intimate meal with friends. The scallop dish and the yellowfin tuna w/risotto deserve special mention. It may be the best yellowfin i have had in years.

The customer care here was so bad! The worst we ever experienced in all the fine dinning l have been too and my friends said the same we didnt feel welcomed at all .We were four girls celebrating a birthday hier on a Saturday .We even had a 4 course menue and they knew it was a birthday but we still had to pay for bread and butter as we waited for the course menue which we thought should have been for free we mean the bread and butter .No one comes to explain the meals to you .They just drop them on the table and disappear. No smiling welcoming faces no one comes to check on you lf everything is Okay like other fine dinnings .We always leave alots of Tips but we just left so little out of our not being satisfied with the service. We asked ourselves could it have been our race but may be not it must be a General thing we left regretting having come there. For the birthday girl they just lit the candle and just dropped it there.and we were like lf it is nice we would recommend our other friends to go there but to be honest it is not worth it.our bill was around 500 euros we wanted to order more drinks but we left because we didn't feel satisfied with the service.

Right from the location, Ambience, food, service everything so perfect. The money we pay for food is absolutely worth. Waah! what a delicious food. I have started with Suppe starter, thought this will only be best every other item on menu has upgrade in the taste. I am so happy to spend my birthday time here❤️ Definitely again!
RAGHAVENDRA P — Google review
We ordered the vegetarian menu and were quite happy with it, everything was delicious and artistically plated. I chose three non-alcoholic pairings and I was fairly impressed with all three; I felt they were better suited to the dishes in general than the wine pairing that my partner got. The service was spectacular - attentive, yet gave us plenty of space and time to relax and enjoy and not be bothered. The atmosphere was not too busy, and the glass windows and view are breathtaking, the volume was medium to high side for such a venue but there was quite a loud concert going on outside and it still did not bother us.
Natalie R — Google review
This food was off the chain! Wifey and I had a date night here, and we were absolutely blown away by the food. The truffle pasta with beef was outstanding. And that romaine lettuce appetizer was delicious paired with the short rib. Our waiter was extremely polite. Will return. Tends to get a bit warm, so I wouldn't dress heavy.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Stuttgart, look no further than Origami Restaurant. This gem offers a fantastic blend of classic sushi rolls and innovative modern Japanese dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. With enticing lunch and dinner specials, it's an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The atmosphere at Origami is warm and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed outing with friends or family.
Incredible - I typically have low expectations when it comes to sushi outside of Japan. This place serves some of the best I’ve ever had. Servers don’t speak the best English, but it didn’t really cause any problems. They don’t skimp on the drinks either (the mojito was incredibly strong). Delicious, and reasonably priced for the high quality.

10.01.2025 After almost two years I was again in Origami where I reviewed that time with five stars and a very good review (see below) I was very disappointed with the new design and new food quality! The tuna quality was really bad, the toro which is very nice expensive had a large vein inside and generally the service was below average for this price category! —- —- Very good Sushi bar in the middle of Stuttgart with very fresh ingredients. You need reservation at the weekend because it can be really full. I enjoyed the cozy ambient. It is definitely one of the best in Stuttgart.

3 people spent 160 euros ( 3 plates, 3 drinks, tea and 1 dessert), food was good, but the service was awful- my husband asked for a particular beer type and they brought another without any explanation ; my order of wine has never showed up at all. Waitress made a face because we couldn’t understand her and sent another waitress for us. They didn’t have learner chopstick for a child. We left disappointed for that price.
Ekaterina R — Google review
I ate here on New Years' Eve. The restaurant itself is fairly small, with enough space for maybe 10 parties at a time. They have variety platters that give you a fair share of both rolls and sashimi. Origami has adapted to the times and they have a dedicated take out window for COVID mitigation. The take out window was running full steam during dinner service. The speed of the kitchen was impressive. I'm not sure how many chefs were working that night or if it's any more than usual, but they were filling take out orders and normal ones within 5-10 minutes. Those standing outside in the German December cold didn't have to wait very long! The presentation of the sushi is that out of a story book. It's very pleasing to the eye. The taste was as expected: savory and delicious, despite being far away from fresh seafood (i.e., the coast). I think we could have gotten slightly cheaper prices for the volume of food we got, but it was a very pleasant experience and the cost was very much worth it for a celebratory occasion.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere. The guy that served us was super friendly and gave us good recommendations. The tuna tartar in particular was amazing.
Rick K — Google review
Very disapointing experience. We sat right next to the door (not many tables there) and it was freezing every time (very 1min) the door opened. The staff was friendly but rushing our time to an extreme. She took my plate away while I still had sushi in my hand and my mouth full! She asked in that second if we want to order more or she'd bring the check. My husband still had his mouth full and his hand in the edamame when she wanted to take the bowl a minute later. The suhsi was not high quality. The fish was good but the rest was rather tasteless. It was nicely but together, but not delicate. We ate in 55min for 95€ and went home and had dessert. That is sad. I was excited for a great date night but this was rather disapointing. Sad. I don't know why everybody is hyping this place????

Service was okay but not on par with the pricing. Forgot one of our orders. Most importantly the food was just mediocre relative to the price. No Japanese chef to be seen either.

Authentic Japanese restaurant
The Mikoto sushi restaurant is a place where you can enjoy high-quality sushi every day. The menu includes different types of sushi and sashimi, as well as noodle soup and dumplings. The restaurant has beautiful lanterns and floral wallpaper, making it a very elegant place to eat.
The food was so fresh and tasty, especially the sushi. Everything looked and tasted great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though it was busy, the food came quickly, and the order was perfect. The restaurant is clean and cozy, a nice place to enjoy a meal. I really recommend Mikoto and will come back again!

Our waiter and hostess were very nice and friendly. They moved us inside with no problem after wasps kept flying down to chomp on our nigiri sushi. The miso soup was very salty but our cocktails were delicious.
Jackie R — Google review
The restaurant offers a lot in terms of menu and awesome service, making it a delightful spot in the heart of Stuttgart, reminiscent of a small slice of Japan in the city. For beverages, we ordered for the Mango-Kokos-Lassi and the Lychee Limonade, both freshly prepared and nicely flavorful. Our food choices were the Soup Ramen topped with Fried Tempura, which was an excellent start with its nicely balanced flavors and contemporary fish broth. Additionally, we tried the Fried Udon Noodles with Chicken Nanban; although I found it slightly too sweet, my partner enjoyed it. We also got a Sushi platter, either number 128 or 129 on the menu, which was equally impressive.

Amazing flavors! Some of the best Asian food we’ve had outside of Japan. The food portions are huge. Definitely shareable. We were able to walk-in and get a table for a party of 7. However, I would recommend making reservations. The place was slammed with customers. Friend wait staff. Thank you for the experience. We will definitely return.

Probably one of the best places for dinner in Stuttgart. Every time I visit this city, I try to find a place here, what actually is not easy. Food is great, portions big, fresh and niomniomniom. Prices are adecvate:) next time I will be here again.

Arguably the best sushi in Stuttgart. Have been eating here for about 4 years now and have always found the best taste, presentation and quality. Sushi is comparatively pricier but worth the money
Umair M — Google review
Too expensive for no reason. The food was just good but not something special. The worst part is that they took our order for drinks and then informed us that they are closing sooner than indicated in Google. The service was impolite starting cleaning table before we finish our drink.

We have been here for lunch on a Sunday. The service was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. The food was very good as well. We tried gyoza, wakame salad, kimchi, a coconut soup and various kinds of sushi. Everything was delicious. Can highly recommend.

The best and most affordable sushi spot in Stuttgart. It gives you the vibe of a traditional Japanese restaurant, with the cutest and coziest interior. You order via a QR code on the table, and the service is fast and super polite. Definitely coming back!
Isidora N — Google review
It seems to be a sushi restaurant run by Japanese owners. Everything we ordered was among the finest examples of its kind. The service was quick, and every dish was incredibly delicious. The interior design is also authentic. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it to all sushi lovers.

Very easy and simple concept where you would sit down on a table with a specific QR for this same table, and you order your food just like you would on any delivery App, choose payment method and wait. They are quite quick and efficient with sushi orders. And since we were 2 people, each ordered from his device and sushi orders came separately which is also great. Their presentation is pleasant and decorative. Drinks were also superb, we had the ginger tea and homemade iced tea. Overall i would highly recommend and would definitely be back.
Hussam C — Google review
This has always been my go-to spot when I want quick sushi rolls at a fair price. It's mostly unchanged after over 10 years of reliability. We order it delivery often, but this was my first time eating there in awhile. Firstly, the restaurant has a QR code to connect you to the ordering platform. This makes ordering efficient, but the basement has terrible phone reception and the menu was very clunky, without descriptions and the photos wouldn't load. This was very frustrating. Also, the servers relied so heavily on it, that no one asked me for a drink order & I went without. I went on a Saturday afternoon when it was slow, so it was frustrating to be mostly ignored. Sushi was tasty & well-presented. A menu & additional roll and miso soup were €22. The value is really still great.

Affordable sushi that tastes good. The Waiters are very friendly and served us with a smile on their face which was really appreciated.A good place to go to as a student or if you don't know what to get for the evening. Also the food is presented in a beautiful way and the interior is just as colorful 🫶🏻

the selection is not very big, but it's enough. at least you don't have to suffer from too many choices)) the food was good, very nicely served / arranged. the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed. you can come with your laptop and even work there. they have power sockets. it is not very crowded, nor loud. they also have tables outside. decent prices. the only thing that in my opinion is a little off, is the waitress. she is friendly, but somehow doesn't fit into the atmosphere (maybe she just needs a different outfit).

Feinkost Böhm Sushi-Ya is a contemporary sushi bar nestled within a high-end food market, offering an exquisite selection of Japanese seafood. This charming spot allows you to indulge in fresh, expertly prepared dishes even outside regular store hours. The intimate setting features a small restaurant area where you can witness the quality of ingredients firsthand at the fish counter.
Best sushi restaurant by a mile in Stuttgart. Especially if you prefer high quality over quantity. It comes at a price but worth every € spent. Going there since 10 years and still the best in town.
Abhik D — Google review
Great sushi in Stuttgart! Fun and inviting atmosphere, fresh sushi, and a great selection. The rice was really sticky and congealed in the rolls which I don’t enjoy, and would prefer no mayonnaise on rolls, but it’s still the best in the area.

Best sushi in Stuttgart - great food , good service , wine list is ok , but could have more variety and a higher level. Outside seating and inside incl bar seats. My favorite
Rainer A — Google review
April 24, 2023 Before I start my preamble, you should know that this place is a bit pricey, but in my opinion it's somewhat justified by the quality and location of the restaurant. On my way to the Feinkost Böhm to peruse their groceries, I had discovered Sushi-Ya tucked away neatly in the corner which tantalized my curiosity. To my dismay, the Feinkost was already closed, so I took a peek at Sushi-Ya's menu and made a note to return when the opportunity presented itself next. Well, I did not have to wait long. Having worked up an appetite by walking around the park with a friend that very same day, I knew that fate had revealed its grand design. I hurried back to Sushi-Ya and was welcomed by a warm yet modern atmosphere. Sitting bar-side afforded me the opportunity to speak with the sushi chef (and get a free piece of nigiri) where I discovered that their fish is always fresh, never frozen, and delivered that morning. This piqued my curiosity about the sushi grade fish supply chain. Upon returning home I went down the rabbit hole, with much detriment to my sleep, and discovered that freezing fish isn't necessarily bad, as long as it's done properly the fish will maintain its quality. Without further preamble, let's get into rating the food. First, I started with a very refreshing seaweed salad. An added bonus, none of it got stuck in my teeth! 😁 On to my main course, I ordered a dragon roll and two pieces of otoro. The sushi came on a wooden block which was a fun addition. The otoro was so tender that it fell apart under its own weight when I lifted it with my chopsticks. It tasted perfectly silky and fresh. The dragon roll was absolutely exquisite. Switching between flambeed salmon and tuna ensured that I experienced both fish. The large salmon roe gave a very sweet pop that complimented the sushi and was worth the trying, yet rewarding, effort to pick up each one that fell off the sushi. It has to be the largest and best tasting roe I've ever had. The only thing I didn't enjoy much about the dragon roll was the amount of raw scallions on top. I found the rough texture to be a bit overwhelming and would have preferred less. Surely, this wasn't enough food to satiate me. So I took another round of nigiri. My explorative side came out and I ordered mackerel, which I've only had once before, and uni, which I absolutely disliked up to now. The mackerel was very good, it had a saltier taste than the standard sushi fish. Despite it being good, I'd say the traditional fish is king for a reason. Growing up in California, uni is very common. I've tried it twice in California and one time I had to spit it out. I just didn't like it. However, at Sushi-Ya I found the uni to be more agreeable. It looked like it was soaked in soy sauce, which made it more palatable to me. Despite this, I don't see how I can order uni again when the toro is less expensive! Clearly though, my issues with uni are my problem and not the restaurants. A few things about the menu that I didn't enjoy, I was forced to buy two pieces of nigiri/sashimi. So I wasn't able to get a variety of fish. Maybe if I asked they would've served me single pieces, so that'd be worth a try. Also, there were only about six specialty rolls, which would be fine, except that I feel like three of the rolls were practically identical. Just with a minor change. My final rating, "I left completely satisfied in the quality of the food. However, due to the price I may consider other quality sushi restaurants. But I certainly see myself coming back."
Kevin S — Google review
Lovely Sushi (but for sure not cheap) Found it a little better before the Pandemic, however still among the best Sushi places in Stuttgart. The lunch menu offers better value than dining a la carte
Mark H — Google review
Very fresh fish. The Otoro Aburi ist a must-try. Prices are good considering the quality. The calpico however ist a bit disappointing. I prefer it with the fine gas.
Jun L — Google review
This place is a little gem. Every dish is prepared as you order it and everything is just so fresh. The menu offers an impressive selection à la carte, including some hard to find specialties like unagi and coquilles Saint Jaques. They only do sushi, sashimi, maki and rolls, so you won't be able to order cooked dishes like tempura or udon for example. They do serve miso soup. They have a few choices for their lunch menu that are really inexpensive, 14€ and up, according to how hungry you are. There are wines and beers to choose from, as well as the usual soft drinks. The restaurant is always packed so you can find a queue of customers waiting patiently to be seated, especially around lunch time. You cannot reserve a table.

The Hiro sushi restaurant in Stuttgart offers a variety of traditional and unusual sushi dishes.
Definitely hands down one of the best places for sushi in Stuttgart. Make sure you have a reservation beforehand because the restaurant is not large. In summer the Biergarten is open, so it is a bit bigger. The gyoza is perfect and the udon is also really good but unfortunately only comes as an appetizer and not as a meal size. Honestly I haven’t had anything on the menu that isn’t incredible. Don’t waste your time at those mediocre sushi places like origami, I love sushi, sushi circle, QQ, art sushi, etc. Come here!!!! It is definitely worth it. Most restaurants that are chains taste as cheap as the food is. Here the food is actually above average price, but much much higher quality. You will never be disappointed. Even all the local Japanese come here for authentic food.

I was there for dinner with my girlfriend and 2 friends. I recommend to make a reservation if you plan to go there on a weekend. I had some gyoza, sushi, udon with sweet tofu and yuzu ice cream. The gyoza are very good, taste like handmade. These sushi is very good, I can highly recommend the unagi Nigiri and Inari Nigiri, they tase exactly like they do in Japan. The udon and the sweet tofu were also very good. The Yuzu Icecream was a bit to bitter for my taste, but that’s the taste of yuzu fruit. The staff was very friendly and they create a authentic atmosphere by talking a bit Japanese to the customers. I also tried the fried tofu and the eggplant from my girlfriend, both was delicious too. All of us enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, so I can highly recommend Hiro and will visit it again. + Taste: Very Good, authentic + Staff: Friendly, Japanese (authentic) o Price: a bit high but fair

I am not a lover of all you can eat restaurants, I find that often the quality is low, so I was positively surprised to try this restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the service, The waiters were happy to be there, chatting between them and the customers, making the atmosphere lively. The food was overall good and with a big variety, from fresh food to already cooked one everything was tasty and nicely presented. The food buffet was clean and inviting. The atmosphere was nice, for being such a big place, the decor was not heavy but quite functional and relaxed. Overall recommended if you like these kinds of places.

Korean restaurant
Mandu is a casual eatery in Stuttgart that offers Korean comfort food without any fancy decorations. It stands out as one of the top Korean restaurants in the area, although there aren't many to choose from. The Galbi Mandu, which are beef dumplings, are known for their juiciness and delicious flavor.
When visiting Korean restaurants, I often enjoy ordering Bibimbap, so I decided to order it here as well. Observing other customers, I noticed many were ordering Yangnyeom Chicken (Korean spicy fried chicken), so I was prompted to order it additionally, and the taste was quite good. Regarding the Bibimbap, the vegetables were notably fresh, providing a good texture with each bite. The overall flavor composition felt well-balanced. The accompanying Gochujang (chili paste) had a slightly sweet profile. While this might be a slight point of note for those who prefer intense spiciness, the overall balance of the dish remained good. If you are looking for delicious Korean food in Stuttgart, visiting this place could be a good option to consider.
Patrick P — Google review
This place has a friendly staff and really good food. If you don't speak German they also speak English here too. I got the spicy fried chicken (ordered it extra spicy) and it was very satisfying. The spicy pork dish with rice is probably the best thing on the menu, delicious. Definitely get here early because the line gets very long, but it's worth the wait.

Favourite restaurant in Stuttgart! The food is far more than delicious, the owner is soooo kind, a little queuing is part of the experience :) 10/10 I would sell my soul for their fried chicken

Our go-to korean spot in the city :) good food to reasonable prices and they’re quite fast as well! in july/august they sell naengmyeon / cold noodles and they’re great! recommendation: fried chicken and bulgogi or kimchi jjigae in the winter time! :-)
An — Google review
The food is yummy. The prices are fair. The staff is nice. One thing you should consider is that the place is small, so it's nearly impossible to get a table if you're more than 4 people, and even with fewer people you might be standing in line for a while. Also you need to have patience since the food takes quite long to arrive (even when the place is empty). But if you like Korean food, then I guess it's worth it :) There used to be physical menus which you could flip through, but now there's a QR code and you read the menu on your phone which is much less convenient :( Recommend: kimchi jeon (marked as spicy, but isn't at all), tteok-bokki (careful - spicy!), the 3 types of mandu (=dumplings), vegetarian mandukuk soup, dakgangjung (fried chicken) in soy sauce, and the warm plum tea :)

At Shima Restaurant, you'll enjoy contemporary Japanese cuisine in a minimalist setting. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and welcoming. Our sushi is some of the best we've had in a while, and we recommend trying the ramen noodle soup as well. All of our dishes are properly prepared and wearing masks is mandatory for all staff members. We believe in safe sushi eating so make sure to come check us out!
Must go place if you want good food and a nice quiet atmosphere. We had our first meal here after arriving in Stuttgart. The sashimi was fresh, ramen and tea were great. The owner is really nice and gave us recommendations on exploring the city. I would go back on our next visit to Stuttgart.

I came here on an earlier weekday night around 7:30 PM. It was empty, so I was immediately seated and ordered. They didn't have any of the draft beer up and running, but I got a sushi appetizer with wagyu beef that was good. I wish they cut down on the amount of rice so you'd get a better meat ratio, but it was flavorful. I also had the fried chicken appetizer. The pieces were lightly battered and fried with a lemon, there wasn't much flavor to this dish and a sauce could have helped, but they were still juicy and crispy. I then had the katsu ramen as the main, it was really good and flavorful. The dumplings definitely benefitted from the broth. Overall the meal was good for the price, but it took forever to try and pay. Nice spot in a neat area.

We had a really nice dinner at Shima! I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere. Wooden japanese interior elements are mixed with more modern ones and create a relaxed environment. The food was very good especially the sushi and the ramen soups we tried. The Karaage could have been a bit more crispy and the Takoyaki was too pricy considering the portion. Over all it was a pleasure to eat there. We will definetely go back to try their other dishes on the menu.
Hanne F — Google review
We set out on a mission to find good ramen and booked a reservation at Shima. Once there, we were distracted by the other delicious offerings on the menu and never even tried the ramen. What we did have was absolutely wonderful. The one concern was that the service was incredibly slow once we had our food. We would’ve ordered dessert had they come back to wait on us in a reasonable time. Otherwise everyone was friendly and the food was delicious.

We were glad to find this restaurant! The dishes were authentic, exactly like what a Japanese restaurant is expected. The ramen made my day!

Kim's So Korean Food is a cozy and vibrant restaurant located in the heart of Stuttgart. The menu features classic Korean dishes such as bibimbap, hot pot, stir-fries, and rice rolls. Despite its compact space, the restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a variety of options including different types of ramen and other Korean soups. While seating may be limited due to its popularity, the friendly staff and delicious food make it worth the visit.
The food tastes great! It might be too spicy a little for German people here. However, for Asian one, it was tasty and delivered the local Korean taste ~ I love it though! For you guys who don’t usually eat Koran food, I would recommend the Gimchi Soup (which a bit spicy, but I guess you can talk to the staff to decrease the lev of spicy).

We ordered Bulgogi and Fried Chicken with Sweet Chili Sauce. The bulgogi was tender, and perfectly marinated, while the fried chicken was crispy, and coated in a delicious sweet and spicy glaze. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was great Highly recommended

Unassuming, dinky little restaurant thats literally in some back alley I can't weigh in if it's authentic but they served some bomb fried chicken at a pretty reasonable price. It also arrived in literally eight minutes so... Yeah, thumbs up from me :D Atmospheres a bit lacking but hey you get friends and fried chicken what else does one nee

Food was fast & delicious. Limited space inside the restaurant but can sit outside on the lovely weather day. Only can pay by cash.

Food was decent, best was fried chicken with honey mustard. Jeyuk Bokkeum was good, decent level of spice. Kimbap and Bibimbap were ok, nothing special. Overall a good place to eat, if you like or craving korean food.

The food was good and the service was quick with friendly workers. Since it was summer when I went, it was very hot in the eating area. An AC appeared to be running, but its effects couldn't be noticed. If you come here, make sure to have cash, as they do not accept any form of digital payment. They also close for a break in the afternoon between 1500-1700. Overall, it was a good experience, and I highly recommend.

The food was incredibly tasty, the service was almost instant. All in all just awesome. Everything was a bit on the pricey side though, but overall we are very satisfied. The one thing we didn't like was the amount of noise, particularly from a small child behind us. That's not the fault of the restaurant though, just something to be aware of.

The sushi restaurant Oishi Sushi Inh. Wenyue Li is a great spot for Japanese cuisine in town, with delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant has a small but understated dining room, which makes it great for socialising as well as eating.
I was passing through this country for a short vacation and decided to go to this Japanese restaurant. I was amazed by the quality of the sushi, truly phenomenal, fresh and of excellent quality. Trained staff, very friendly and kind, impeccable service. If you pass I highly recommend everyone to stop and try it, you will be satisfied.

The food here was perfect for an refreshing evening meal, I ordered the Oishi Menu 10, which included a variety of Nigiri, along with 6 tuna maki, 6 tiger rolls, and miso soup. The food was very refreshing and was made in front of where we ate, which added to the experience, the fish had high quality and was flavourful and not overpowering.

Japanese restaurant
The sushi restaurant Keyaki Japanese Cuisine is a great option for Japanese cuisine lovers in the city center. The extensive menu offers an excellent variety of different sushi dishes, as well as complimentary items such as tempura and udon noodle bowls. It's also conveniently located right next to the train stop 'Rathaus' making it easy to get around. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is bright, clean and welcoming.
I am here for business trip and this japanese restaurant is my biggest comfort. As a Taiwanese living in Europe for a few years, this restaurant for sure is outstanding. The food is good but in general very salty. The price is very fair and would like to come back every day! The staff is also friendly. The environment is very cozy as well.
Yu-Ting H — Google review
We had a fantastic meal at this Japanese restaurant! The gyu-niku uramaki was rich and flavorful, the Take set offered a beautifully balanced variety, and the highlight was definitely the aburi-shake chakin—perfectly seared and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. Can’t wait to come back!
Nagumi — Google review
The food is absolutely delicious here. The duck ramen was served separately from the soup bowl. Daifuku could have been less sweet though. Go for age gyoza, it was super yummy. Luckily we had a reservation, otherwise you must wait a little longer for free tables. The service was chaotic but they handled it professionally.

Hidden gem in Stuttgart! Authentic, fresh and friendly place :) I really like their lunch offers. They have Japanese style seating as well.
Ruiqi H — Google review
This is definitely the best ramen & udon in Stuttgart we’ve tried so far (and we’ve tried 5 other different places ^^)
Xuan ( — Google review
The chef/owner of Keyaki was born in China, but honed his craft in Osaka, according to the press feature in the menu. It definitely shows in the food and is much more authentic than the Vietnamese-run sushi places dominating Stuttgart. We definitely enjoyed the Take Sushi Set for 2 (€48) and the Keyaki roll. The gyoza & miso were great, but the Agedashi tofu won me over. They also gave an extensive Donburi selection, but the weather seemed too hot for that. We also enjoyed the modest Sake offerings and the incredible homemade Yuzu Chuhai. They have a great wine list, as well. Keyaki doesn’t have A/C. Though, the place was so spotlessly clean, it really did get points for that.
Melissa M — Google review
I recently dined at Keyaki Japanese Cuisine during a quiet Monday lunch hour. The restaurant had a noticeable Asian influence, with a Asian chef at the helm, but it gave off a somewhat cold vibe. Located in the city center, it's worth noting that it's not situated in the historical heart of the city. Service, though friendly, felt more akin to fast food than a traditional restaurant experience. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, evidenced by a drink order that was forgotten until the bill arrived. The menu, primarily in Japanese, had limited English translations and featured pictures, which, while a touch touristy, provided some reassurance in navigating the choices. The menu itself was relatively basic for a Japanese restaurant. As for the food, it was decent by Japanese standards. I opted for the Chicken Katsudon with a side of gyoza as a starter. The dishes were satisfactory, though nothing particularly stood out as exceptional. In summary, Keyaki Japanese Cuisine offers an okay dining experience with a fair balance of price and quality. While it may not be a top recommendation, it's a decent choice for a regular Japanese meal.

Restaurant Nagare has transformed from a humble take-away spot during the pandemic into a premier destination for gourmet Japanese cuisine in Baden-Württemberg. Known for its authentic sushi and innovative dishes, this restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience that combines traditional flavors with modern flair. Guests can savor wagyu sushi and fresh fish, all served by a warm-hearted family dedicated to providing top-notch service.
Extremely delicious Sushi restaurant. Probably the best quality one can get in Stuttgart. Great starters and dessert as well. Each piece is like an artwork. Highly recommended!

This little unassuming restaurant with terrible parking options had great food! If I could give it a 4.5, I would. We had the sushi tasting menu and sake pairing and loved everything they offered. The Miso soup was unlike anything we have had and the wagyu was sooo good! The little corn Amuse Bouche was a perfect, creative bite! The sake pours were very generous! The only criticism we had was there was no music and was strikingly quiet until some tables were filled.

This is without a doubt the most authentic sushi place with 5star hotel cuisine level in Baden Wurttemberg 🙏🙏🙏🙏 wagyu sushi, fresh fish, modern and groundbreaking cuisine, the best service, the smiles and warm-hearted family serving authentic food. Fantastic, legit, Japanese food, made by Japanese. They also do New Year's boxes. They have a variety of dishes (not just sushi, although their sushi is some of the best I've had in Europe, if you like nigiri that basically melts in your mouth). Prices are a bit high if you do the course menu, but quality matches the price.

Do Shi Rak offers a wide selection of delicious Korean dishes for take-away only. The portions are generous, ensuring that you'll leave satisfied. The owner's passion and love for the cuisine is evident in the food and her helpful recommendations create an authentic Korean dining experience. The bibimbap with egg and fried mandu were both delicious, packed securely for convenient takeaway.
For those new in Stuttgart (like me!), just please know this is NOT a restaurant. All dishes are for take-away only. You order before through e-mail and take it, or at the place with the format (written in the store). Payment only in cash or by paypal. Now for the food: I ordered the bibimbap + egg and the fried mandu. I had to take it home of course for convenient eating. Packaging was very safe, no leakage also for the sauces. Both were very delicious! The perfect meal after a tiring day. I homestly think this is one of the best bibimbap I’ve had in Stuttgart. As I observe it contains most of the proper veggies in a bibimbap. I also love homemade soy sauce. Will definitely come back to try more! Addition: huge portion, I can eat it twice both for the bibimbap and mandu. Another plus point is the owner is very friendly, and gives quick service. But it’s just inconvenient that you can’t eat at the place. Might be a problem for those who are only visiting Stuttgart for a short time. But you can always bring and eat it at the park 😁

We love fried chicken. That’s why we were curious about this new place. We tried the honey and normal chicken and it was delicious. Also I really liked the kimchi. Service is super friendly. Price value is great. Will definatwky come back
Karl B — Google review
First of all people who look for a good korean good, this place is ok. We have 2 different fried chicken, one with almonds, and you could taste the almonds, is really old or really bad quality. Ddoekbokki was not bad but charging sth extra like fish tofu which used to be part of the dish, showed how the shop is developing, all about making money. Bulgogi was probably the best dish out of all. That's why i give 3 stars. If I take the service in to the consideration i would have given "ONE STAR", the owner and staff are so unfriendly and have no sympathy what so ever. Don't go there with small children. They hate kids, and you can feel it. It was uncomfortable sitting in there. Also the price for self service restaurant, is pretty ridiculous. Beer for 4.5 is what you get in a bar where you drink out of a real glass and not a bottle. 16 euros for fried chicken, with 3-4 pcs of radish as sides (rice cost extra). You can find a better korean restaurant with a real service in Stuttgart with the same price. We used to go to this place when they were at the old location, i guess we won't be going here again. Good luck.
Li F — Google review
Just ordered here tonight, and I have to say that I am impressed not only with the food but also the attitude of the owner. She is extremely friendly and super hard working. It’s almost unbelievable that this place is run by only her. When we came to pick up our order, the owner realized that she made a tiny error and to apologize, she immediately gave us free drinks before we could say anything. I’ve yet to seen hospitality like this in Germany. In addition, she did not allow us to tip because she said that we don’t know her food yet as it was our first time. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Bravo to the owner. We will definitely frequent this Korean restaurant in the future.

Very delicious korean dishes, looks good, tastes good
Vincent P — Google review
My first time eating Korean, so in particular my first time here. I ordered the mixed set of dumplings, although the place's FAQ suggest to order a certain rice dish if it's your first time. The dumplings were juicy and tasty with interesting spices and the homemade soy sauce really kicks the flavor. The cook/owner is very nice and she also packed a free sample of a rice dish with vegetables in my box (the Bibimbab from the FAQ? please forgive me if I'm wrong). I also like the fact that she doesn't accept requests for variations. This is to my layman's eyes a sign of authenticity.

Sakura is a delightful culinary destination that offers an array of sushi rolls, rice dishes, and Far Eastern-style barbecued meats in a relaxed atmosphere complete with a charming terrace. While the regular menu features seafood and meat options alongside traditional sushi selections, the real star here is the All You Can Eat Running Sushi available during lunch hours.
I recently visited Sakura Restaurant and had an incredible experience. The highlight of my visit was the amazing sushi train. There was a vast selection of fresh sushi available, and I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was, especially considering the included desserts. Despite the incredible selection of fresh sushi, the price was very reasonable, and I felt like I got great value for what I paid. The turnover of sushi was impressive, indicating that they take great care to ensure their sushi is always fresh. I appreciated the attention to detail and the effort they put into maintaining such a high standard. The staff was fantastic as well, being friendly, helpful, and efficient in serving me. I appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to make sure that my visit was enjoyable. Overall, Sakura Restaurant is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for delicious sushi at a great price. The selection, freshness, and attentive staff make this restaurant stand out from the rest. I highly recommend Sakura Restaurant and give it 5 stars!
Michael C — Google review
My girlfriend and I are big fanatics of running sushi and we decided to give this restaurant a go while visiting Stuttgart. At first glance when entering the restaurant, we were pleasantly greeted with a nicely lit-up and decorated atmosphere, which made us even more excited about trying the food. However, our excitement quickly faded as soon as we began to observe the variety of food served. The food on the belt consisted of many untraditional variants of sushi, which mostly included either cooked meat, deep fried or both. One of our most shocking discoveries was a frankfurter sausage placed in the sushi and deep fried on the outside… While trying new things is great, we were mainly just upset that there was a lack of traditional, raw fish-based sushi. This is something that we would usually expect there to be an abundance of at any running sushi restaurant. Additionally, it was clear to us that the restaurant was really trying to get customers to buy drinks. We got the impression that the type of food served was specifically for making you thirsty. This includes a lot of fatty deep-fried foods, and really salty foods. We noticed that we both finished our drinks much faster than any other running sushi restaurant we visited before. On the bright side, we thought that the staff were actually quite friendly as opposed to many of the other reviews. Also, for the type of food served, the actual flavour and quality of food wasn’t all that bad. The desserts had a good variety, including different cakes and fruits, as well as asian desserts.

HUGE amount of options on the menu From traditional Chinese food to running sushi buffet 🍣 Taste wise is not overwhelmingly good It’s ok. Service is good No air conditioning inside But Pretty breezy and comfortable sitting outside Will definitely visit again
Rir L — Google review
It's exactly what one would expect from conveyor belt sushi. As a previous review mentioned there are a lot of fried and salty options as well as the typical nigiri and maki or deserts ranging from fruit to Joghurt and cakes. If you order all you can eat it should be noted that buying a drink is mandatory as well but soup and ice cream is included!
No V — Google review
I have never tried the running sushi here, so I can only comment on the Chinese menu. Though the owners are Taiwanese, they have a mix of Taiwanese and Chinese food. I have been here multiple times, and the food is quite good! Large portions with reasonable prices as well. For those considering coming here, I’d recommend ordering off of the traditional menu. Some items I’d recommend are the Garlic Sauce Pork Strips, General Tso’s Chicken, Spicy Beef Slices, and Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup.
John L — Google review
I’ve been traveling around Europe for a while now – and this was by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve had, for several reasons. I came here hoping to celebrate and eat a lot, based on the restaurant’s famous “all you can eat” concept. I took three bites from three tiny dishes included in their so-called “meal.” Each bite from a different dish, just to be sure I wasn’t mistaken – but the food really was just bad. Not only that, it was cold. Every fried dish that should’ve been crispy and hot was instead flavorless and cold. The highlight – the sushi – was mediocre and basic (one bite was enough to tell), with fish that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours “waiting” to be eaten. I realized I didn’t want to continue with the “all you can eat” and asked to switch and order from the regular menu. Throughout the evening, the staff spoke irritably in a mix of unclear German-Chinese and broken English. Eventually, they agreed, and I received an average portion of fried chicken – something you’d get at any fast-food chain – with undercooked onions and a passable sauce. In the end, I was surprised to see they charged me an extra €7.50 for the small bites I tried at the beginning – refusing to acknowledge that it’s the equivalent of returning an unsatisfactory dish to the kitchen. And to top it off, they don’t accept non-German credit cards, so I had to go on an ATM hunt just to pay the inflated price for this shameful experience – all for a fortune cookie at the end. I love giving good reviews when a restaurant provides a positive experience, and I truly believe in supporting businesses that offer good service and atmosphere, creating mutual value. But when this is the experience – the review will reflect that. I absolutely do not recommend this place – it’s not worth the money, and the service lacks any respect or understanding of the basic customer relationship. I’m more than happy to pay what they ask, but they should offer food and service that lives up to it. That did not happen here.

FORMOSA Taiwan Foods & Bubble Tea is a restaurant in Stuttgart that offers a mix of Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese cuisine. Despite not being entirely authentic Taiwanese food, the dishes are delicious and highly recommended by visitors. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service even when the restaurant was about to close. Some highlights include the Taiwanese seasoned pork and duck noodles, which are favorites among patrons.

We were there as a group, and at the end everybody was satisfied with their food and drinks. The staff were very friendly. Nice and cozy place. And in the restaurant, there are all kinds of cute Asian culture related things to buy or look at. I highly recommend the stewed pork knuckle on rice, great flavor with a lot of sauce for the rice. Milk tea and fruit tea were good too.

This place is definitely a surprise for Asian/Taiwan food fans. My ultimate favorite: duck noodles (even made an illustration of it 😂) Must try: fried chicken, pancakes and all other bowls. 🤤 We always want to come here after gym. And I really feel sitting at home listening to the music here. :) Beverage: fruits tea > passion fruit; original teas > peach and oolong; milk tea 🧋 with bubbles of course Friendly stuff 😊
