Izakaya restaurant
Buffet restaurant
Fish restaurant
Taiko Chaya is a bustling restaurant located in Nihombashi, offering classic Japanese seafood and a popular buffet. The restaurant is known for its focus on Maguro (raw tuna), making it a favorite spot for Sashimi lovers during lunchtime. While the all-you-can-eat menu is only available for lunch, Taiko Chaya caters to non-tuna lovers with other items in their buffet-style menu.
It offers a wide variety of fresh seafood, including tuna, seared bonito, salmon, scallops and more. The buffet also offers seafood salad, mentaiko, fried chicken, aji fry, rice, sushi rice and even almond tofu for dessert. To manage the crowds, dining time is limited to 50 minutes. With quality ingredients, courteous service and excellent value for money, this restaurant makes a strong impression and is tempting for dinner.

We visited the restaurant because it was featured on TV. My favourite was the tuna sashimi. I thought the vinegar rice was not seasoned enough but still enjoyed dining out there. One of the ladies was nice and friendly at the front. The price was ¥1,900 which is US$12, not a bad deal. It was a bit hard to find a place to park around the restaurant.
Go T — Google review
The staff is accommodating and friendly they will assist you where to sit and give u instructions proper food guide to get the food to implement food hazard also not to waste some food. The salmon and sashimi is fresh. Also they have dessert food almond jelly I put some mixfruit to balance the sweet.

11 days in Tokyo, this is the worst meal I’ve ever had. In general, the restaurant is quite dirty. Forcing customers to put on gloves when they get the food. However, when we put the gloves on the table, we found it so dirty! No AC at all which is quite hot. The staff there are quite rude which I have never experienced in Japan. The sashimi is not that fresh as expected. Maybe this is local taste but I strongly suggest all tourists to avoid this restaurant. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

im rating 5 stars based on the price and what i got for that price. all the fish are fresh. the curry is rich and flavorful. the chicken karaage is very juicy and perfectly seasoned. i love everything about this place! i would eat here everyday if i can.
JBZ J — Google review
All you can eat sashimi with Reasonable price for lunch time!! They serve Buffett only for lunch, which looked awesome in all photos. Every night at 730pm they also put on a show of tuna carving. We came early to avoid the long queue and was done eating before the tuna show! Lots of locals come. Good value for money for the tuna sashimi
Setivan — Google review
i went here with friend and it’s the best decision i’ve ever made with all you can eat restaurants in tokyo! it cost 2100 yen with tax and the sashimi is really good and fresh, queued here at monday 15 mins before it’s opening and we get the ticket for entering. the cashier is a lovely lady who speaks english so it helps us a lot since we didn’t fluent in japanese, friendly and very recommended!!
Monica R — Google review
The catch of this place is you have to eat in 50 minutes without any food left on your plate, otherwise you have to pay ¥500. There was also limited selection of food. However the sashimi like tuna and salmon tasted great. The octopus was good, but it was hard to chew, which made it worse because you have a time limit. The curry tastes awesome but it makes you full really fast. Tamagoyaki was cold and sweet - it tasted great. It's not hard to find, but you have to enter a seemingly random building to get to the restaurant in B1.

The Imperial Hotel Tokyo is an elegant and upscale establishment with a rich history dating back to 1890. Despite enduring various challenges over the years, including bombings and earthquakes, the hotel has maintained its legacy of perfection. It has been a preferred choice for royalty, celebrities, statesmen, and business leaders. The property boasts 13 restaurants and 4 bars, offering a grand dining experience. Guests can also enjoy amenities such as an indoor pool, sauna, and event facilities.
We have been staying with imperial hotel every time we come to Tokyo and I cannot recommend more for the service and atmosphere this hotel offers, not to mention the rich and unique history of this hotel. From the moment I arrived at the Imperial Hotel, everything was flawless. The location is unbeatable — centrally positioned with easy access to major attractions, shopping, and public transport, yet offering a peaceful and elegant atmosphere away from the city’s rush. The service is where this hotel truly shines. Every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Whether it was the smooth check-in, the helpful concierge, or the impeccable housekeeping, the standard of hospitality was consistently outstanding. The blend of classic charm and modern comfort throughout the hotel made the stay even more special. It’s clear that attention to detail and guest experience are top priorities here. A truly memorable stay — I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-tier service in Tokyo.

Our first stay at the Imperial Hotel has been wonderful. When we checked in, our original room was too far of a walk and we weren’t fully satisfied. Thankfully, Kiera at the reception stepped in right away and took amazing care of us. With his coordination, the team upgraded us to a much closer and more comfortable room, accommodating us to our full satisfaction. The location of the hotel is incredible, just steps away from high-end shopping districts and within easy walking distance to many of the best spots in the city. The rooftop lounge is beautiful, and the view, including the Imperial Palace, has truly added something special to our stay. The history behind the hotel is also fascinating, and learning about it made us appreciate the experience even more. Thanks to Kiera and the hotel’s perfect combination of comfort, service, and history, we are enjoying every moment. This is our first visit, but certainly not our last. Highly recommended!

The absolute ultimate in service and quality of stay. This is so rare nowadays. Beautiful rooms reminiscing of Frank Lloyd wright style. Very comfortable. The electrical infrastructure and the technology infrastructure have been upgraded. What a fabulous place! Our favorite in Tokyo
Ali C — Google review
Rooms are a bit dated in the tower section, but the building is staffed by some of the most professional members I've ever seen. I don't know if I've received higher customer service and would like to extend my thanks to all of the staff for a most pleasant stay. Will recommend and be returning in the future.
Winston H — Google review
The service at this hotel is truly top-notch, just as other reviews attest. I want to give a special shout-out to Sakon, a trainee at the concierge desk—she was absolutely amazing. As a fairly avid traveler, I’m usually adept at navigating complex bookings, but Japan’s myriad transportation options presented a real challenge. I had a very specific request with multiple variables, and Sakon handled it all with impressive knowledge and patience. She not only helped me book what I needed but also found quicker, more efficient alternatives that I couldn’t have discovered on my own. Her assistance truly elevated my trip: My planned hike on Mount Fuji seemed impossible due to fully booked buses and trains, but she uncovered viable options that made it happen. On top of that, she patiently guided me through esoteric Japanese websites to secure the reservations. Thank you, Sakon, for significantly improving my experience and saving my hike—your service was exemplary! Overall, the hotel delivers excellent service across the board. If I must be critical, the Tower room I stayed in could use a modern update, though it was impeccably clean and still provided a great stay. You won’t be disappointed here!
Matthew T — Google review
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The service blew us away. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. They shipped our luggage for us right at the front desk, and when I left a personal item in the room by accident, they responded immediately and held on to it for me. The toiletries provided were amazing and the room was super clean and well appointed - and quiet! The hotel is a quick 10 min walk from Tokyo station which made it an easy choice for us for our short stay, and there are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby as well as a beautiful park. You can access multiple subway lines and there is also a taxi stand at the hotel for added convenience. We really enjoyed our stay here! Finding a hotel in Tokyo is overwhelming, but I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asked.

Very comfortable, quiet, premo hotel. Service was amazing, loved the rooms, such a lovely mix of tradition with modern amenities. The pjs were very comfy and the shower was great.

A sprawling fortress of Japanese hospitality, and my favorite hotel in Tokyo. Some may find it dated, but the lingering air of 1980s Showa-period luxury and impeccable Japanese service give it a feeling that is simply delicious.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Walking into the Lobby is a sign that good things are to come. Wonderful attentive service. Spotless. You can see your reflection in the marble everywhere. The staff here care!! Rooms are silent. Didn't hear a sound. Beds are a dream. Bathroom was an oasis. I'm a tall guy and I can get fully soaked in a wonderful tub. Amazing shower!! Had a pint n snack at " the bar " wonderful staff. Great location close to a Metro line. And a Nice park like square across the street.

I stayed at The Westin Tokyo as a Titanium member and was upgraded to a suite, which made the stay feel very special. For a Tokyo hotel, the suite was spacious and beautifully designed, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The only downside was that the room didn’t offer much of a view. The staff were excellent — warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The bell desk team and the executive lounge staff in particular went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The executive lounge was another highlight, with great food, a wide selection of drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the combination of a comfortable suite, outstanding staff, and a fantastic lounge made this a truly memorable stay. I would gladly return on my next trip to Tokyo.
Sajith A — Google review
A bit dated but well kept hotel oozing of old timer charms. Deco are old school but very well made. None of those cold black and white theme of modern hotel, everywhere is marble wood and copper. Location is quite far from city center but closeby a charming town of Ebisu that’s more of high end and youthful residential areas, and a big park. Rooms are HUGE by Japanese standards and offer great view of the city and Tokyo town from afar. Facilities are clean and even with a gym (rarity in Tokyo).
Misotam — Google review
Fantastic Hotel especially since they did the full renovation! The staff is extra polite, helpful and amazingly attentive to all your needs. There is many restaurants in the hotel to chose from to have a great meal. The rooms are very quiet and luxurious. The gym has everything you need to execute a great workout. Highly recommend. GOOD JOB! 👏🏻
Sacha P — Google review
The Westin Tokyo is a sanctuary in the middle of the city’s pulse. Classic European interiors meet Japanese precision in service. Rooms overlook Ebisu’s skyline, blending calm and cosmopolitan life. The breakfast spread is legendary—Japanese and Western harmony done right. Staff anticipate needs before you speak. Everything feels graceful, measured, and human. After a day in Tokyo’s chaos, returning here feels like exhaling. Luxury not in opulence, but in ease.
GYOUZA D — Google review
A fantastic stay from start to finish! The hotel just underwent a major renovation in 2023, and it shows everything from the rooms to the restaurants feels refreshed and elevated. We booked a celebration package which included daily champagne and cute welcome amenities. Our room faced south with a beautiful view over a park and the city. The grand lobby is impressive, featuring multiple restaurants and a stunning central staircase, which is a rare sight nowadays. The hotel's dining options are excellent. We loved the sushi omakase dinner at Mai the fish was incredibly fresh, and the starters and dessert were amazing. For breakfast, The Terrace offers an incredible selection of both local and international dishes. Pro tip: come before 8am to beat the crowds and request a table on the outdoor terrace for a lovely garden view. Location is another huge plus: just a few minutes' walk from Ebisu Station and part of the Yebisu Garden Place complex with its mall, stores, and restaurants. With warm service and good pricing, we highly recommend The Westin Tokyo.
Genta — Google review
No. 1 choice if you want to feel at home and refreshed while on a short break or business trip. Staff are attentive and professional, really superb. Rooms are quality, with everything you could think of, including fab hairdryer. Our view was sooo Tokyo - brilliant. Club lounge is quiet and japanese. Breakfast, as expected, is 5 star, excellent. We didn't even see the rest of the facilities on offer, as we were too busy and our stay was shorter. However we did see a trail of wedding couples!! Thank you to the staff here, doing a great job. I didn't avail

AMAZING! By Far the Best Westin we have ever stayed in. With a room upgrade to the outstanding service to the breakfast everything was incredible. So friendly and accommodating - front desk was so helpful in getting luggage transferred to next hotel in Kyoto making the next leg of our trip seamless. Would 100% stay again and recommend without hesitation.

Numazuko Kaisho is a no-frills venue offering a wide variety of raw, smoked, and fried Japanese fish and seafood dishes. The restaurant provides an all-you-can-eat seafood option at reasonable prices, allowing patrons to indulge in delicacies like octopus, salmon, and mackerel. In addition to seafood, Numazuko Kaisho also offers skewers and customized donburi meals.
All you can eat seafood buffet. They have both sashimi and fried foods. All-you-can-drink is available. It can get busy so making a reservation is a good idea.

Nice place to grab nomihodai (unlimited drinks) with a lot of drink options (Sapporo Draft Beer, lots of Shochu and Sake, Highballs and Lemon Sour. The foods were surprisingly good, with the Tuna Sashimi tasting fresh and good. The servers were very nice and helpful, explaining the menu despite not very good English and providing drink recommendations.
Que — Google review
Very good price! Lots of fresh sashimi, fried fish, curry and miso chicken. One of the best dishes was the fried oysters, they were super crispy and didn't feel oily. Among the sashimi they offered, the tuna and sunfish were very good
A C — Google review
CASH ONLY! Did not come prepared so we went to Family Mart around the corner to access the ATM. It’s 1700yen for all you can eat sashimi but that’s basically what you’re eating. There is some simple curry but mostly it’s sashimi and there were about 8 different kinds that I really liked. The cooked baby squid tentacles were actually really good. The marinated tuna was also good and tasted like poke. Then there’s the smashed fish paste that looks a little scary like raw pork but was surprisingly tasty. I used it to smear on top of some fish tempura. It’s a tiny restaurant and a little dingy but back home in California, we’d be looking at a few slices of sashimi for this $10 price tag and not an entire meal. Most everyone was eating a chirashi bowl with the sashimi. I was a little worried I’d have an upset stomach eating that much fish since I don’t eat rice. I would’ve liked some salad to go with the sashimi. But I was fine, though I definitely didn’t want fish for the next 3 days! Everyone was friendly, despite the language barrier. They’re very serious about the 45 minute limit and start the clock as soon as you’re checked in at your table. You can choose a longer time if you want or additional beverages and pay extra for all you can drink.
Stefany P — Google review
While I visit Japan. I went there 3 times. I enjoyed very much. Sashimi was so fresh and my favourite was white bait fish. It was so lovely. 45 mins seemed very short time but good enough for me to have 2 bowls with all my favourite sashimi on rice. Highly recommended.
Alex S — Google review
All-you-can-eat seafood, yes please! This place also has other menu items such as miso soup, fried fish and prawns as well as curry sauces. We opted for the all-you-can-eat and drink for 1875 yen per person for 45 minutes, adding 75 for every 5 minutes after. It's a good start if you're getting into eating seafood, as there were over 10+ items to choose, from baby squids, imitation crabs, to tuna and whitefish. I really liked the fried prawns, and tasting the baby squids was new to me. Sake there is plentiful, and the staff there were very helpful despite speaking limited English. The female staff guided us through the self-serve area, as well as how to pour the drinks and informed us of the extra 75 yen charge. It's not a place for light eaters though, if you want to make the most of the all-you-can-eat price. Others have also commented that there's no more seafood by 12PM-1PM. We visited right when, it opened so there were still many food available. I suggest coming early. Hopefully you will enjoy the seafood here as much as we have!

It's my second time here, and I still love it as usual. I had an unlimited lunch today for 45 minutes for only ¥1200. Their sashimi is fresh, and there are many kinds of fish, and also fried meat. Staff is friendly and they could speak English. If you want unlimited alcohol, they also got different course.

It's an all u can eat restaurant. Eat like a Viking (name of all u can eat choice) Also have all u can drinf for non alcoholic and alcohol. Is your choice. 2 time choice 2 select. How much u can eat. Nestled in the heart of Tokyo, Hilton Tokyo offers a luxurious stay with modern accommodations and top-notch amenities. The hotel's prime location provides easy access to Haneda International Airport and popular attractions like Odaiba, museums, shopping centers, and hot-spring baths. Guests can enjoy stunning views of Tokyo and Rainbow Bridge from the hotel. The rooms blend Western glitz with Japanese cultural elements, featuring contemporary decor, low-lying beds, shoji screens, and glass showers.
Stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days to explore the city, and everything was amazing — from the service and staff to the food and location. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk from the bustling city area, yet the hotel itself is in a quieter spot, which we really appreciated. There’s also convenient access to the station directly from B1, just a few minutes’ walk away. The room was spotless and exceptionally clean. Breakfast offered a wide selection, including delicious Japanese options. Room dining was excellent — the food was fresh, beautifully presented, and promptly served. The staff come from diverse backgrounds, making communication easy and welcoming. The view from our room was stunning, and we loved that the TV had Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming options. On our last day, I was pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful birthday gift from the hotel — such a lovely gesture! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this hotel. You truly get what you pay for.
K M — Google review
This was our first time visiting Tokyo, and our stay at the Hilton Tokyo was nothing short of amazing. From the front desk to the concierge, every staff member we interacted with was exceptionally helpful, professional, and friendly. Our suite was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel’s dining and entertainment options, especially the live music featured in two of the onsite restaurants. The entire property felt upscale, elegant, and perfectly located. Transportation was never an issue—taxis were always readily available outside the hotel, and a complimentary shuttle bus made regular trips to the nearby train station. Traveling with a large group, we often needed special transportation arrangements, and the concierge team went above and beyond to help us coordinate everything seamlessly. They also provided excellent restaurant recommendations and handled our reservations. When we had trouble figuring out which tickets to buy for the Sky Deck, they even assisted with translation to make sure we got the right ones. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. A special thank you to our ambassador, Waly from Peru, who made our stay extra special with his warmth and attentiveness. The other ambassador was also wonderful, though I regret not remembering her name. We truly can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The Hilton Tokyo exceeded all of our expectations and made our first trip to Japan unforgettable.

Truly enjoyed my stay here. Beautiful rooms, the bathroom could use a little additional space, but it was very nice . LOVED the heated toilet seat! I wish I could pack that up and bring it back with me lol. Waly truly made the experience here so special! He is truly a light! Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us so many tips to fully take advantage of our stay! I hope everyone that stays here gets to encounter him!

What a wonderful place to stay. I regularly stay at Hilton Hotels and the Tokyo Hilton deserves a special mention. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The location is great and there is access to the Metro line downstairs. The staff are very very helpful and attentive. I must give a special mention to Priscilla who kindly arranged for my bed to have a soft topper added (I’m not good with hard beds). Priscilla arranged everything and then chased me up to inform me it would be taken care of. I tried breakfast in the Executive Lounge as well as the main restaurant. The breakfast in the main restaurant was far better than what was on offer in the Executive Lounge. The hotel also offers a frequent shuttle service to and from Shinjuku Station.

I’ve stayed at Hilton before and it’s always been a nice experience, but the Tokyo staff need a special shout out! Everyone was so kind, but I especially want to thank the room staff who we did not see and were not able to thank. I wish I could upload the photo I took of our personal items so carefully and neatly placed on a towel near the bathroom sink. Truly awesome! Oh and my photo of Mt Fuji from the Executive Lounge that the staff so sweetly pointed out as they greeted us at breakfast!

Perfect! I have been a diamond member with Hilton for over 20 years and this is the best Hilton stay we have ever had. Waly and his team are on top of everything. We were greeted like royalty when we arrived and after a 24 hour travel day, we were suddenly refreshed and excited about our stay. Lounge is a 10 out 10. Especially when comparing to anything in the states. Gym and fitness center was top notch. Morning buffet was plentiful and EVERYTHING was hot and delicious! A good mixture of American and Japanese food. There wasn’t anything we asked of any of the staff that wasn’t immediately responded to. As most people are aware Japan is tops when it comes to customer service and respect. It’s nice to see that this hotel, not only lives up to that expectation but exceeds it. I truly can’t imagine anybody having a bad experience at this hotel. If you stay here seek out Waly and I am sure he will take care of you. Can’t wait to come back!

The front desk staff was kind enough to upgrade my room. The lady at the concierge desk was extremely helpful, she assisted me in ordering a birthday cake. Overall I felt the staff at this hotel are all welcoming to guests compared to some other international hotels I’ve been in Tokyo. Location-wise it’s a 15 minute walk to Shinjuku main area (1500yen for a taxi) or you can use the station under the hotel to connect elsewhere. Hotel shuttle is available as well. Highly recommended! The breakfast is very good and the executive lounge has great views of the city

Absolutely outstanding hotel experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with true professionalism. The hotel itself is spotless — the housekeeping team does an amazing job keeping both the rooms and common areas perfectly clean. The view from our room was breathtaking, and we especially enjoyed spending time in the Executive Lounge, which offered excellent food and drink choices throughout the day. Breakfast was another highlight, with a very broad selection that catered to every taste. What really stood out to us was how seriously the hotel took allergy precautions. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe, turning it into a very personal and professional experience that made me feel truly cared for. We received personal attention from both the restaurant manager and the chef, who made sure every detail was handled safely. Absolutely exceptional! The hotel bar is beautifully designed and a perfect spot to unwind in the evening. Even with a full hotel, all processes ran smoothly — nothing ever felt chaotic, which speaks to how well-managed this place is. Overall, a truly exceptional stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, professionalism, and an unforgettable hotel experience.

Nestled within the vibrant Roppongi Hills complex, Grand Hyatt Tokyo offers an elegant and sophisticated stay with spacious quarters and a range of amenities. The hotel features warm woods and limestone bathrooms, along with a red-granite indoor swimming pool and a sprawling spa offering sauna, steam room, and plunge pools.
Very nice hotel in Roppongi Hills. It is a quiet property not too busy but it is centrally located. The rooms are good sized. And they upgraded me as a globalist member to a huge suite on the top floor. The spa is small with many massage chairs and nice to relax a bit. The gym is well equipped even though it is a bit small. There is a very nice indoor pool next to the gym.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo during a business trip and had an excellent experience. The hotel’s location is perfect — right in the heart of Roppongi, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and key business areas. The restaurants within the hotel are top-notch, offering a great variety of cuisines and consistently high quality. The spa and gym are also outstanding — spacious, well-equipped, and ideal for unwinding after a busy day of meetings. The service throughout the hotel was professional and attentive, making my stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo combines comfort, convenience, and luxury, making it an excellent choice for business travelers. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo for work or leisure.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo on the last night of our Japan holiday. Our room was on the fourteenth floor and we had a magnificent 180-degree uninterrupted view of Shibuya and Shinjuku (stunning). We could even see My Fuji in the distance! We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was extensive and in the very nice surrounds of the French Kitchen restaurant. The highlight for me however were the staff. We arrived at night after a six hour flight delay and the team were so accommodating and welcoming. This was consistent across every interaction we had with them. Thankyou for a lovely stay, we would love to come back again some day. Simon & Sonja.

Was very happy with the service and value provided. Located in Roppongi Hills, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo is conveniently located and accessible by Private and Public transportation. There is also a shopping center connected to the building with a host of retail and dinning options. The staff is very attentive and accommodating to our needs. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant. They hail cabs for us and provided the driver instructions on where we wanted to go. Furthermore the service staff assisted with all our luggage to and from our room Very happy overall. Well worth the cost

Our first time in Tokyo! We started our trip at the Grand Hyatt and ended up coming back after visiting a few other hotels. Nothing compared — the GH staff were amazing, the facilities top-notch, and the prices surprisingly reasonable. Definitely our favorite stay in Tokyo! The spa is also well appointed. Carlos Iihara, Kaede and the rest of the staff made us feel at home. We look forward to our next stay.

I find Hyatt hotels to be excellentl and Grand Hyatt Tokyo is no exception. Elegance and exceptional service throughout our stay. Was fortunate to get upgraded to 21st floor suite with amazing view of Tokyo Tower and own patio garden. Also stayed in deluxe room with view of Mt Fuji. I just wish I had discovered the massage chairs in the gym before the last day! We walked over 16K steps daily exploring Tokyo and can't wait to come back.

Club Lounge breakfast was one of the most limited breakfast I’ve ever experienced at a Grand Hyatt and as a Globalist they give you no other option but have to eat in this lounge. Even worse is many of the popular options like bacon and sausage and miso soup were gone by 9:30a and even 25 minutes later, still nothing. It required multiple guests, including myself, to complain about the service and lack of food before they even noticed. Most Grand Hyatts treat their most loyal guests with the option of where to have their breakfast but the management here choose to cut costs and provided a limited and low level service breakfast. I won’t even stay here again, I much preferred the Andaz and Centric who offer a more positive and service oriented guest experience.

Rokkasen is a renowned yakiniku restaurant located just a short stroll from Shinjuku Station. It's a favorite among locals and tourists alike, offering an array of all-you-can-eat options featuring top-quality ingredients carefully selected by their skilled chefs.
Rokkasen is hands down one of the most unforgettable dining experiences I’ve had in Tokyo. Tucked into a sleek building just minutes from Shinjuku Station, this premium yakiniku and shabu-shabu buffet is a carnivore’s dream come true—especially if you’re a fan of melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef. The quality of the meat is absolutely top-tier. Every slice of wagyu is marbled to perfection, rich with umami, and practically dissolves on your tongue. Whether you choose the grilled yakiniku style or the silky-smooth shabu-shabu, each bite is a masterclass in Japanese beef excellence. Their variety includes sirloin, ribeye, tongue, and even rare cuts you won’t find easily elsewhere—all unlimited. Service at Rokkasen is equally excepti

Visiting Japan and really wanted to let go and feast. Found Rokkasen online and was happy to see they were also running boiled snow crab ayce promotion as well. Highly suggest anyone going here to get, at minimum, the Tsuki ayce set, as it includes lobster and abalone as well. I think this set is the best value if you want ayce. Was also surprised it included all you can drink alcohol as well. The service was excellent here, very warm and welcoming. They are quick to bring food ordered from their iPad-like machine. Also quick to clear empty plates, the grilling surface and the waste bucket. You can also request semi private booths that are seperated by draw down blinds. Overall was very happy with the experience. The 2 hour dinning limit turned out to be just perfect for us, as we finished just in time. It didn't feel rushed or hurried.

The food here highest quality, very fresh. Of course come for the food, but I think the best thing about this place is the service they’re friendly welcoming and they’re just really happy that you’re here.
GEO S — Google review
Fabulous Yakiniku restaurant on the 10th floor with nice views and private booth spaces for dinner. All you can eat option is great for those travelers that walked 20,000 steps like us and they have immediate service via the iPad ordering system. For a large group of hungry mouths, this is an excellent choice!
David C — Google review
Rokkasen is genuinely the most amazing dining experience we've ever had. Me and my wife come here every time we're in Tokyo and this is by far the best AYCE yakiniku for both service and food quality. Most AYCE places will delay giving you more food if you eat a lot, but Rokkasen never skips a beat and comes with your order in 2 minutes every time without fail. They are also very kind and take a picture of you to remember your experience, it feels more personal than most restaurants. Food quality speaks for itself - ask you can eat wagyu, lobster, and crab all very fresh 🤯
Micah M — Google review
I had the chance to visit Rokkasen in Tokyo, a buffet restaurant that offers both yakiniku (grilled meat) and shabu-shabu. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the beef was top quality. One of my favorites was the crab — already perfectly prepared and so easy to enjoy. I ate so much of it! The buffet also comes with a wide variety of drinks to choose from, which was a great bonus. Overall, it was such a satisfying experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.
PREEN Z — Google review
I was recommended Rokkasen Honten by a family member and I have to say it definitely did not disappoint. The service was 10/10. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The meats, seafoods and vegetables quality was also 10/10. If you are looking for an all you can eat/all you can drink Yakiniku place in Shinjuku then I would definitely highly recommend Rokkasen Honten. It is well worth it for the price! Make sure you book!!

Heard so much about this place, so had to try. Not disappointed , we ordered the mid range ‘all you can eat’ option and was very happy with the quality. Service was also exceptional, order came almost immediately after we punched on their iPad. We booked the night before and managed to get a 6pm slot and when we arrived was offered a nice cosy ‘room’. Will come again !

Restaurant
Luxe Dining Hapuna is a buffet-style restaurant situated within Shinagawa Prince Hotel, offering an extensive selection of Japanese and Western dishes. The menu varies throughout the day, ensuring a diverse dining experience. Guests can indulge in crab, sushi, and roast beef at lunch and dinner while enjoying live kitchen demonstrations by chefs. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, making it ideal for various occasions such as casual lunches with friends or special celebrations.
A gigantic buffet-style restaurant that features a Hawaiian-inspired menu, but truly offers an international selection of dishes. The variety is impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for tropical flavors or more familiar international options, this restaurant has something for everyone. The expansive buffet and diverse offerings make it a great choice for anyone looking for a satisfying and flavorful meal. Highly recommended for those who enjoy trying different cuisines in one place!

Great place for dine in . Good quality foods. Many chouces. Live cooking station. Systematic. Polite and siper helpful staff. Its in Shinagawa Prince Hotel next to the lobby and just front of the entrance.. very nearby. Long queue in the morning for breakfast but its managable. Do come early for breakfast time since theres so much groups here. Good location ... near to the station.
Zues L — Google review
I recently dined at this dinner buffet at Luxe Dining Hapuna and, while the overall experience was pleasant, I found that the quality didn’t quite match the high price point. The venue had a dark, romantic ambiance, which made for a cozy setting, and the staff were courteous and attentive throughout the meal. However, the food quality was just average. The crab, which was supposed to be the highlight of the spread, did not live up to expectations. Many guests flocked to it, but it lacked freshness and depth of flavor—there was no umami to speak of, leaving it somewhat disappointing. At 12,000 yen per person plus the Tabelog service fee, I was hoping for a more impressive culinary experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that it provided value for money.
Patrick K — Google review
The buffet is extremely pricy. No alcoholic drinks are included. We went later at night, and many of the stations were running low on food, or we had to wait for food. The restaurant is beautiful, and they do have a lot of food options. The dessert bar was my favorite part, and their options were great. It’s a decent option, but if money is tight, I wouldn’t bother paying for this experience.
Dana H — Google review
We went on the autumn equinox holiday for lunch. Pros: decent selection of food and drink along with desserts. Staff was okay attentive but overall is good. We like how they provide plates with partitions. Cons: what is up with lining up and I just want one item from the station. This approach does not make any sense unless management wants to limit your consumption (90 minutes time limit). Time was spent mostly lining up. The environment itself is good but with a time limit and with time mostly spent waiting in queue makes it much less enjoyable. We did not get to try everything as time was up. If less people, it will definitely be better but this is one and done for us
Wen T — Google review
Buffet style restaurant with self-service of Western, Chinese, and Japanese Cuisine. Very nice modern decor with darker wood trim design. Alcohol costs while water, soft drinks, and juices are included free but with a limited selection of items. Staff was very friendly and they had some folks who knew English, which was very helpful. Overall, the food was good but didn't justify the price for my modest family needs. I had expected more quality based on buffets in Honolulu, Las Vegas, and other resorts. Perhaps the Italian celebration going on this month impacted the menu of items available for the three standard cuisines. I appreciated the modest serving size that allowed me to try so many different items. The desserts were not very sweet, which was great for the Asian pallet. The dishes were all very aesthetically pleasing as you would expect with Japanese dining. We won't be back just because of the cost and value for my family. It was still very busy because it was open past 7 pm and most places in the hotel closed by 7.
Jimmy F — Google review
If this place is aiming for luxury, they must mean it in the “luxuriously disappointing” sense. The buffet spread felt more like a sad culinary museum—cold exhibits on display, with nothing worth revisiting. Not a single dish tempted me for an encore performance. The service? Let’s just say it was in “slow-motion mode.” Our table became a graveyard of old trays, untouched for what felt like entire geological eras. It’s as if the staff forgot we existed, banished to the far corner like culinary exiles. For the price they’re charging, you’d expect a feast fit for royalty; instead, it was more like a banquet for boredom. If this is the buffet benchmark in Japan, then the bar has been set alarmingly low—low enough to trip over.
D H — Google review
Breakfast Delight at Hapuna If you’re looking for a cozy breakfast spot with a variety of delicious options, Hapuna is a great choice. They offer a wonderful selection, including a Japanese-style breakfast with comforting rice soup and plenty of egg dishes to suit any preference. One of the best parts is how flexible the menu feels—you can mix and match the ingredients to make your own creations. I tried something a little different by using sweet dried fish (usually paired with rice soup) as a topping for my salad. It turned out to be a surprisingly good blend of Eastern and Western flavors! The food is fresh, the atmosphere is warm, and there’s plenty to try for everyone. Hapuna’s breakfast is not just about eating; it’s about enjoying a little creativity with your meal. Definitely worth a visit!

Nestled in the upscale area of west Shinjuku, Park Hyatt Tokyo offers luxurious rooms and suites, some featuring breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. The hotel provides a serene retreat from the bustling city, with a complimentary shuttle to Shinjuku Station. Made famous by its appearance in Lost in Translation, this five-star hotel boasts elegant rooms with stunning vistas of the city lights and walk-in closets.
Service is impeccable. The rooms are spotless. The Japanese breakfast is a delicious and bountiful feast--so much so that you may be full until dinnertime. This may be the only downside. You won't be able to enjoy the great food that the city has to offer. The rooms, furniture and lighting do feel a bit...older, but not in a bad way. I enjoyed the 90s feel to it, like entering a time capsule. Unlike other hotels in which this would be a negative, there was a quiet luxurious charm to it all. Go to the swimming pool. Skip the NY bar.

Our stay at the Park Hyatt Tokyo was memorable. The service was outstanding, staff were attentive, and always made us feel welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a calm, elegant atmosphere. The restaurants and New York Grill & Bar are great, having a drink with the skyline view is a must. This was the first stop on our honeymoon to Japan and Korea and it did not disappoint. The hotel is gorgeous and the views are incredible. They upgraded us and had gifts for us, which included champagne, flowers, and a framed photo of us. The service was the best of the hotels we were at. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The gym is amazing, too. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Staying as a Globalist at this property on points/SUA. Amazing service throughout my stay. Lots of pros, some cons. Do note the property is going through a big renovation after May 6, 2024 and not reopening for 18+ months. Staying in the lovely Park Suite, which has a dining table/4 chairs, and a living room area all in the same room, with another center round table with sofas and sofa seats. Japan hotels also have a huge list of items they can give to you complimentary which is really nice. Suite was a huge room, with a living room and a table to dine on. The bathroom was also huge with a tub, wall in shower, Dyson hairdryer, and nice Toto bidet. Breakfast was included for Globalists and it was outstanding. The service at the restaurant was amazing and had a wonderful selection. Where it shines is the room service was also included and presented really well. They were professional every morning and let us order anything off the menu, without even a bill to sign. The pool and fitness area were also really nice, and Globalists also got access to their spa. I did not spend that much time there, but it had nice views of the city.

I was fortunate to have a 2 night stay at the Park Hyatt Tokyo before it closed for renovations. Globalist and used a SUA for a park suite. The room was large with a separate living room and bedroom and had a view of Mt Fuji when clear. Service was very good and the staff went above and beyond helping me with my proposal. The hotel while dated was impeccably clean and well maintained. The highlight of the stay was using the facilities at the club on the Park every morning, best hotel gym and spa I've been in. Hopefully they can update the hotel without changing too much. I really appreciate everything the hotel did helping with my engagement.

Had been dreaming to stay a night here and had the chance as we celebrated my friends birthday. The staff were welcoming, warm and so helpful. The room was grand and comfortable and smelled like a dream. We had the opportunity to use a suite upgrade certificate and so glad we did. We were placed in the Park Suite King. Aesop amenities for the bathroom. Stocked bar and snacks (for a charge of course) but added to the atmosphere. The hotel is starting revocations and excited to return to see the hotel reborn. Also had dinner at New York Grill with amazing views and food.

The lavish buffet is a true feast for the senses, brimming with fresh, beautifully presented dishes that cater to every palate. Went to visit on April 20th, we had a 17:30 reservation. It’s been a while since we last dined at Cascade Café, and it was nice to be back. I noticed they’ve done a bit of renovation, which added a lovely touch to the overall ambience—I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with the service. Throughout our meal, we had to call the staff multiple times just to clear the empty plates from our table. With three of us dining, the plates started to pile up, and we even had to stack them ourselves because we were running out of space. We were seated near the staff booth, so several staff members walked past us repeatedly, but none of them took the initiative to help. It became quite frustrating having to constantly ask for assistance. I hope the management takes note, as we’d love to come back again for the food and ambiance—hopefully with improved service next time.

The manager Shakti Rana and his team was also very attentive to our table and was also Shakti was talking to us and showing interest in our holiday, which also really added the feeling that we weren’t just customers. The service is good and somehow unique. Other fancy restaurants in Japan, their waiters don’t communicate with the customers, they just serve. But this one, their staffs are nicer and more outgoing, I liked that. The food was decent, steak was cooked very appropriately. I asked for mid-rare, they did give a beautiful pink.

Buffet restaurant
Chef's Live Kitchen is an upscale international buffet restaurant that offers stunning views of the bay and Rainbow Bridge. The concept focuses on providing healthy, fresh, and beautiful dishes. The menu includes collagen-rich soup for skin health, chef's special salad, hors d'oeuvres, hot dishes with seasonal ingredients, made-to-order parfaits, and seasonal desserts.
DEC 2024 Came here with a reservation for the dinner buffet. The food selection is not a lot but what is unique about this buffet is they bring out limited dishes throughout the two hour session such as the tomato based fish and vegetable soup, roll cake and baked seafood chowder. As I went to the buffet later at night, the hot food was a bit dry. However I was more interested in the chef's live station where food is cooked to order, including sushi and tempura which were fresh and tasty. The unagi rolled omelet was pretty good as well but a bit too greasy. Highlight was the roast beef; it was tender and not dry at all, goes really well with the meat sauce, salt flakes and horseradish. Desserts were also decent with a good variety of sweets to choose from as well as customizable parfaits and freshly squeezed Mont Blanc. The overall food experience was worth the price and a lot of the drinks such as coffee and juices are included in the buffet.

A Buffet with a Twist! 1 glass of coke 1,000 Japanese Yen that is about more than $6.00 dollars... I recently visited a local buffet that’s been getting quite a bit of buzz, and while there were many delicious highlights, there were a few surprises that caught me off guard. Let’s start with the food! I tried the roasted chicken, which was perfectly seasoned and juicy—a definite standout! Now, onto the more unusual aspect of this buffet: the drinks. Usually, at buffets, I expect an endless supply of soft drinks to accompany my all-you-can-eat feast, but this place threw me a curveball. Instead of the typical unlimited sodas, the establishment charges for soft drinks. I can understand the desire to keep costs down, especially in a buffet setting, but I can’t help but feel a little ripped off considering the price of admission. They do offer complimentary coffee and juices, which were refreshing, but it still felt like something was missing without the fizzy drinks available at my fingertips. 他の場所に行くことをお勧めします。

My friend took me here as a birthday treat for me. I liked the place, and the relaxing view while enjoying the meal. There are many selections of meat, I liked their spareribs tender and juicy. They also have sushi which is one of my favorites. They also have many desserts including ice cream like mango, strawberry, vanilla and choco. They gave me a birthday plate with cake and took a picture of us as a souvenir.

It is my third or forth time here. Always coming for the dessert buffet. Even though it is called so, there is a plenty of delicious savory options. All food presented nicely in small portions and tastes very good. The price is also relatively on the cheap side and through various reservation websites, you can get additional discounts. I do not recommend to come here alone but if you do and you need a reservation, you can make it by phone. If you can, ask for a table with a view of the Rainbow bridge. The view is very pretty.

Chef's Live Kitchen offers a fantastic buffet with lots of variety. The real highlight is the live cooking station, where you can get fresh sushi and tempura made right in front of you. The staff is also friendly and welcoming, making it a wonderful dining experience!

I went there for the desert & light meal buffet at late Nov 2019. The dining atmosphere and environment is very comfortable. I like Intercontinental brand's deserts which tasted not too sweet, but soft and smooth. They prepared kinds of cakes which I love so much. Desert choices were so much that I just hate my stomach is too small. I even have no space for the light meal.

Booked dinner here through ikkyu restaurant for 5800 yen with tax. It included a glass of sparkling wine as well. For that price it is a good deal, the food quality was good also has decent view of rainbow bridge and the service is good (slightly over staffed) compared to other buffet dinners would say variety was lacking but enough to choose from. Definitely worth going at the ikkyu price.

It's a great place to mingle with people from around the world as it's attached to Sakura Hotel, which attracts a diverse crowd.
Food was very good and very filling! Just perfect, a tad bit too hot but very very yummy. The customer service was excellent, even got off topic but yea very nice and also spoke excellent english. The vibe is nice, only some people were loud but it was only a little bit annoying, no one else seemed to mined the people being loud so we made no fuss about it. Overall very great place for quick food or just to hang with friends or family!

Today was a hot Saturday, my husband and I wanted to go out and try something new and interesting restaurant, we saw that this place has a very big and cheesy hamburg steak, so we came here to try out. It is kind of a hidden place in Ikebukuro, a 10 minutes walk from the station. The restaurant looks big and a bit old from the outside. We went inside and got seated at the outside which we like, the atmosphere here is like a bar and restaurant, feels casual but fun. When you are ready to order, you needed to go to the counter and order it yourself, then they will bring the food to you when it’s ready. They have lots of interesting beer choices from around the world, also different food choices from different countries. We chose the hamburger gratin from Portugal and the oven-baked pork with sauerkraut from Montenegro. The food came quite quick. The hamburger gratin was big and delicious, outside is bread, and inside is juicy hamburg steak, top with cheese and tasty sauce. The oven-baked pork with sauerkraut tasted more like a German dish, the pork slices were big and juicy, there were 2 and 1/3 slices pork with lots of sauerkraut. We were very happy with the portion and quality of the food and drinks. It’s a great place to eat and drink with friends or your date, we will come back to try more interesting food on the menu!

Guests can enjoy high tea, delicious buffets, and a variety of breakfast options at reasonable prices. The restaurant is known for its well-prepared food, including vegetarian options and delectable desserts.
My experience at Seascape Dining in the Hilton Odaiba Tokyo was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking view of the bridge with the summer breeze was a perfect backdrop for an evening out. The live acoustic piano and singer added a beautiful ambiance, making the night even more special. The food was excellent. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked ( the portion was huge ) and the salmon tartar was equally delightful. Pairing these dishes with the Terraza Reserva Chardonnay elevated the entire dining experience. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience in Tokyo! #footprintsofem #mochainparadise #em_onthego #wishyouwerehereme48

The view is top notch; we ate while the sun went down and it was very romantic. The food was delicious but nothing too special. They had a Hawaiian performance during the evening on the terrace.
Erika K — Google review
Probably not the best place or the liveliest place for a dinner, but the other restaurants in the hotel may be closed depending on the time and the day of the week. It's over priced and the dishes are small, but the food quality is good. The style and the service are generic. For a hotel breakfast, it's a very nice and delicious place, btw.
Vera S — Google review
Absolutely delicious food! It's rare to find vegetarian options on a Japanese menu, but the pasta was amazing. I had a little higher hopes for the Caprese salad, but outside of that, great experience and you can't beat the view!
Hasin G — Google review
(LUNCH buffet) Considering the service and desserts were good, it still only gets 1 star. 90mins and you spend most time waiting for food to be refilled. Not sure if it’s because they had a Hawaiian theme but the food was terrible, low quality not great variety. First time I’ve left a buffet still a little hungry. We had a discounted rate at ¥5000pp yet the coffee selection was non existent just a big container that looked like it belonged in a used car showroom. Poor effort to maximize profits. I’m sure breakfast/dinner would be better?? So disappointing.. might have to pop by Sukiya for a real meal on the way home!
Dee K — Google review
We had the buffet lunch. Roast beef was so so.. Not what I expect from a Hilton. It was rather tasteless. Main fare was mediocre with only the lamb and pumpkin soup tasting fairly good. The desserts especially the cakes stood out. Doughnut display was cute but it was rather bready and dry. Service was pleasant. We had a table looking out to the bridge,, that was nice. We went to the hilton because we had been to the one in osaka and that was great in every way. But this wasn't up to par.
J C — Google review
I’d you’re looking for good food - go somewhere else, you get it there too including a good service. The service here was just the worst. We had reservations for the terrace, since it started to rain we were seated inside, at the bar, that was repurposed to a dining location furthest away from the buffet. Random dishes were out at random times and were refilled just to late if you have only less than two hours to finish your meal. Sadly the main dish was much worse than the really good buffet. Moreover, we got a birthday desert we didn’t order, were given the credit card and bill of the table next to us and the staff forgot our bill after giving them my card. When reminding the staff we could leave after 15 minutes of waiting.
Xios 8 — Google review
Do not recommend at all. Literally every dishes tasted nasty. Fried chicken is soggy, all dishes have been sitting there for 2-3 hours, seafood bowl tasted like rotten seafood,….. I would’ve chosen a cup of instant noodles than coming to Seascape Terrance even if offered for free. 0 star.

Today I had the worst steak during my entire stay in Japan (20 years) in Maison Kayser/Higashi-Ikebukuro… only fat and tendons, may be 30% edible. I complained to the manager and he pretended not to understand with an angry, unfriendly face.
Georg P — Google review
The set lunch is basically a bread buffer with unlimited coffee or tea. Choices of main dish is salad, soup or beef. You can tell from the pictures post. All of them suck. If not a fan of bread, I'm sure there are restaurant around with much better salad or soup. I really have no idea why Maison Kayser decided to offer such low quality soup and salad to their customers who value their high quality bread so much. I would rather buy some bread home to enjoy instead of paying ¥1200 for the lunch course next time

The worst dining experience I have ever had, out of 7 years living in Japan. We were deciding what to choose for lunch and the waiter literally snatched the menu from us, barely even waited for us to decide. The restaurant was not even full. He talked in a superior voice to us, telling us that it was acceptable this time but do not do it next time (?). We were shocked with this kind of attitude because apparently we never experienced this ever before, in any country that we visited. Definitely not recommending this place if you want to experience the famous Japanese hospitality
Hanh D — Google review
odd customer service. we were waiting in line with three other groups, but despite visible open tables, counter seats, AND outdoor seating, the staff were wandering around clearing plates without so much as a greeting or “please wait” while we stood there, wondering if we should just seat ourselves. i’m not usually a stickler about that stuff, but it actually felt like they were intentionally ignoring us for some reason. the other customers seemed just as confused. awkward atmosphere all around. the food itself was alright.

Great cookies for a reasonable price. Straight from New Zealand, recommended to be by an Osaka native. So you know they must be good. The original double chocolate chunk, salted caramel, and raspberry white chocolate are my top 3, but you should try them all to get your own opinion. Great place.

The place is super cute and fun. Upon entry they gift you a small cookie taste tester and it is actually good. I purchased a cookie and a strawberry milkshake. The cookie was okay but I did like the milkshake. I liked how fun the place was and chilled at the place to drink my milkshake. It is definitely worth going to and enjoying something sweet after exploring. They have loads of cookies to buy that can be taken home.

And they also have Vegan products and vegan cookies.🍪 None of their product contains alcohol. Attaching the ingredients list in pictures for Muslim visitors. I hope in future they mark their products as Muslim friendly so that it much easier for Muslim visitors to. Ordered their frappe and loved it . ❤️

One star for the free sample, it tasted kind of like Chips Ahoy. The interior is brightly colored and inviting, almost fitting for the Harajuku area if not for the amount of English everywhere, which could make you think you're back in the US. Intrigued, we ordered one chocolate chunk cookie. It was served mildly warm, but the chocolate chips were melty, at least. That's where the pleasantness ends. When you bite into it, your taste buds are... confused. It's not sweet like a cookie and has a mild bitter taste. The texture is dry and crumbly, you can tell that the dough is over mixed and that it's definitely not just all purpose flour in there. It wasn't burnt, not at all, it just wasn't... good. My sister ate the whole cookie, because it's quite expensive at ¥430 per.
Caitlyn J — Google review
It is located near Harajuku Station. When you enter the place, it smells amazing. I tried the cookies in salted caramel, fudge, and cranberries white chocolate, and they all tasted so good! (sadly, they didn't have all the cookie flavors when I visited). Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu, like milkshakes and cookie dough. Edit: tried their vanilla and chocolate shakes as well. They were slightly less sweet than I prefer, and I couldn't really taste the vanilla in it. However, a unique thing is they use tapioca starch straws which are edible, although a bit on the hard side and flavorless. The shakes themselves were quite filling. One recommendation is for them to offer lid covers for takeaway, as this would be very convenient.

Slope Side Diner Zakuro Buffet & Café is a stylish hotel buffet that offers a wide range of dishes, including breakfast options and delectable items such as roast beef, grilled seafood, sushi, and decadent desserts. Guests have praised the generous food offerings, particularly highlighting the delicious tempura, roast beef, sushi, and teppanyaki. The warm and inviting dining atmosphere adds to the overall experience.
OCT 2024 Visited for the dinner buffet with a reservation. The food selection was pretty good with a mix of Japanese and western cuisine. I was able to try most of them and they were all quality dishes; very tasty. Some of the highlights includes the bone-in roast beef, grilled seafood and meat plates, gnocchi with truffle and chestnut cream sauce, beef stew pot pie, and the made to order mont blanc. Overall it was an enjoyable dining experience and the chefs and staffs were friendly and polite. A bit pricey but was worth it for the quality food and there is no time limit, only downside is drinks are not included in the buffet.

I'm a foodie and have been lucky enough to having been living in Tokyo since forever! Tokyo has the most Michelin Star restaurants compared to any other city on earth. I've eaten in so many places in Tokyo, but as far as buffet style dining goes, this is it! I cannot recommend it enough. The food is out of this world, the service excellent and the ambience first class. Given the weak yen, your dining experience (not including alcoholic drinks) will come to around 60 quid or 80 US dollars per person, which makes it an unimaginable bargain for a major city in the world. And the massive bonus point is that in the dinner buffet there is NO time limit. So, you can technically arrive on the weekend at 5:00 p.m. and stay with the last order being 9:00 p.m. This is unheard of as most restaurants in Tokyo. All of the others I have ever been to have a 90-minute time limit. My wife and I stayed for over 3-hours slowly noshing through small amounts of pretty much everything they had! Neither of us drink alcohol so we made do with the tap water, but limitless tea and coffee was available. It is not necessarily the biggest buffet options you can find, but what they have on offer is unassailable. Do yourself a culinary favour and go. You will not regret it. You can peruse the menu in Japanese and English on their website.
Roger J — Google review
It is an awesome buffet restaurant. Although the selections of food are not very diversified, each dish is great. The service is also good and child chairs are provided. Overall, while the distance from the lift lobby to the buffet may be a minor inconvenience, the modern atmosphere, extensive food selection, and solid quality make the international breakfast buffet at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa a worthwhile experience.
After V — Google review
This buffet restaurant is located next to the slope hence the name and it's located inside Grand Prince Hotel Shinagawa. Overall the food served here are actually delicious especially their Teppanyaki Scallops, lamb and Foie Gras. Presentation of certain dishes are good too and you can actually order whatever amount you want for the teppanyaki and sushi. You just need to let the chef know what you want and how many pieces. Another special mention is their Strawberry Curry as its the 1st time I ate such a unique curry and it's actually not bad. The star of the show in this restaurant is most definitely their roast beef as its really tender and delicious. The desserts served here are also not bad but the Ice Cream here is Fantastic and is of good quality. However, the frozen fruit that you see in the freezer together with the ice cream are not served to you. Additionally, you can also order freshly made Mont Blanc here and they will make it in front of you. The chestnut flavour of the Mont Blanc is actually quite strong hence you will like it if you like chestnut. Lastly, for those who wants to save some money you can actually just join the Seibu Prince Hotel membership and get a discount on your meal there and then. Do take note that you will need to hike a liitle if you are walking to the restaurant from Shinagawa Station as its located on top of a slope by the main road.
Weng H — Google review
The international breakfast buffet at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa offers a diverse selection of dishes, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, the location of the buffet is somewhat inconvenient, as it's situated quite a distance from the room lift lobby. This means guests may need to walk a bit farther than expected to reach the dining area, which could be a drawback, especially for those in a hurry. Once you arrive, however, the atmosphere of the buffet is impressive. The dining area has a modern and stylish design that creates a pleasant and welcoming environment. The buffet itself is extensive, featuring a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. In addition to standard international fare, there are also several local Japanese dishes on offer, such as udon and ochazuke, which provide a taste of traditional cuisine. For those looking to start their day with something unique, the inclusion of warm sake is a nice touch that sets this buffet apart from others. As for the food quality, it is generally good across the board. The dishes are well-prepared and flavorful, making the dining experience enjoyable. Whether you're in the mood for Western-style breakfast items or something more local, the buffet is likely to satisfy most palates. Overall, while the distance from the lift lobby to the buffet may be a minor inconvenience, the modern atmosphere, extensive food selection, and solid quality make the international breakfast buffet at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa a worthwhile experience.

I don't think there was a time limit, we weren't bothered by staff about it either so we could really enjoy our time. Definitely worth going.

Pastry shop
NUMBER SUGAR is a stylish and modern shop that specializes in artisanal caramel candy. They offer a variety of flavors and gift packages, making it an ideal destination for discovering distinctive sweet treats. NUMBER SUGAR takes pride in creating caramels without added preservatives or artificial coloring, emphasizing the natural flavors of their homemade confections. This sets them apart as they aim to introduce the uncommon delight of caramel into Japanese desserts with their eight different flavors.
A lovely little shop with real attention to detail. The packaging is elegant and beautifully presented, and the service is professional and friendly. The caramels are outstanding with twelve flavours in total. My favourites are Rum Raisin and Almond, absolutely delicious!

I stumbled upon Number Sugar during my trip to Tokyo, and it was worth the walk off the main street. This charming little shop specializes in handcrafted caramel sweets, and you can tell they put their heart into every piece. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm, buttery aroma of caramel—it was heavenly! Number Sugar was established with the concept of creating all-natural, additive-free caramels that bring out the rich, pure flavors of their ingredients. Each caramel is carefully handmade, reflecting the owner’s passion for simplicity and quality. It’s become a hidden gem among both locals and tourists looking for an artisanal sweet treat. They offer a beautiful box of 12 individually packed caramels, each with a unique flavor like vanilla, orange, ginger, and matcha. Unfortunately, most of the loose caramel flavors were sold out by the time I arrived. If you’re keen to try the full range of flavors, I recommend heading there early in the day because these caramels are in high demand. I managed to grab a few flavors, and they did not disappoint. Each one was perfectly balanced—rich, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The shop itself is minimalist and elegant, reflecting the premium quality of their sweets. Despite being tucked away, the journey to find it felt like part of the experience. The friendly staff made the visit even better, and the stylish packaging makes these caramels a perfect gift for loved ones or a luxurious treat for yourself. If you’re in Tokyo and looking for a unique snack or gift, Number Sugar is a must-visit. It’s a true testament to the beauty of simple, well-crafted food. Just don’t sleep in, or you might miss out on the best flavors!

I was gifted these once and now I don't leave Japan without loading up. Simple concept but amazing execution. I love the original flavour and gifting the box sets. It can get crowded but there's lots of other nice shops in the area to also browse through, so it's worth making trip to the area.

Come here when you're in Japan or live in regret! These caramels are phenomenal!! The first time I had these caramels, I nearly cried because I waited to try them until I got back to the States only to learn you can only buy these in person. They are perfectly soft and melt in your mouth with subtle yet clear flavors. The shop can run out of the individual flavors earlier in the day because they're so delicious, but they still had all the flavors when I went recently around 2pm. The packaging is lovely and each box contains a little description of each numbered flavor (including in English). The store employees are kind and warm, and they gave me gift bags for each item in my one big bag (that way I'm not carrying around tons of bags). I only buy these for my very favorite people and make sure to get two of the large boxes for myself. I waited two long years to have these again and it was worth the wait. Until next time I'm in Japan, Number Sugar!

Number Sugar in Omotesando, Shibuya, is renowned for its exceptional handmade caramels, making it a popular destination for those with a sweet tooth. The store's selection features a variety of flavors including classic caramel, vanilla, and sea salt, catering to diverse tastes. The pretty rose packaging makes it great for unique gifts. Apart from its main store, Number Sugar also operates a factory shop in Sendagaya. This location offers a special experience, allowing visitors to observe the meticulous process of caramel making in a pristine, laboratory-style setting. The shop sells a range of flavors like chocolate, raspberry, and ginger, available both individually wrapped and in pre-boxed assortments.

The shop is famous for its delectable handmade caramel candies. Candies are sweet and chewy, highly recommended for those with a sweet tooth. The candies come with extremely pretty boxes that you wouldn’t bear to unbox them! The shop went for a minimalist decor which would immediately remind you of an Apple Store.

Yakiniku restaurant
Jinbocho Meat Center is a haven for meat lovers, offering Gunma prefecture's Joshu beef and pork known for their delightful aroma and taste, thanks to the region's crystal clear water. The cattle are raised with care, even fed with Japanese plum (ume), resulting in sweet and flavorful bites.
**11:30~14:30 all you can eat for 45 minutes for ¥1000 (cash only for lunch). i discovered this restaurant through mike's channel. the quality of meat for this price is exceptional, so it's no surprise there's always a queue for the lunch ayce. you start by choosing A, B, or C for your first plate, and after finishing, you can pick anything you like. i absolutely love the liver (レバー), but it sells out quickly. your meal includes rice, onion salad, and soup. the last order is taken 10 minutes before your time is up, and you must leave by the end of the 45 minutes. i saw a couple who stayed longer, and the staff took away their grill. they are very strict about the dining time.
Rae__ne — Google review
Waited around 20 minutes to get in and service was fast. A little bit salty taste. It is a good value with average meat quality for someone who can eat a lot. Quite dirty, smoky and sweaty environment inside. Honestly I couldn't enjoy the taste and tenderness of meat as people surrounding are rushing to finish and order again which indirectly forced me to rush eating. Normally people order one set plus another set. I don't recommend for someone looking for quality lunch though.

Found this store from YouTube food review The food was nice Customer service wise to their local is good but to me as a tourist I don feel that we are welcome from the way they treat us The food menu is all in Japanese And staff only speak Japanese And do take noted for all you can eat menu (aka buffet) is only available for lunch time as we wanted to order buffet set Things the management can take noted to improve is the server work attitude toward tourise Other then that everything is perfectly fine

Best bbq place in this area. Sometimes it can get crowded and you’d have to wait for a table to be available. Service was fast. Meat was good. Love the ume rice. Can get noisy when people get drunk.

To be honest, this is one of the best Yakiniku restaurant that I have enjoyed up to now. The name of this restaurant itself sounds very professional, but the taste itself is also very professional. I highly recommend if you would like to enjoy Yakiniku within Tokyo. The interior is not so fancy, but the taste is really professional.
Jun A — Google review
service was okay but the people i went with and i had a terrible stomachache after eating the meat so i'm afraid there is a problem with the quality of the meat... also you can't change the strengths of the fire so most of the meat went burnt.
Lun — Google review
Unpretentious, yakiniku restaurant that serves great selection of intestines and good cut meat. Id go back again but seasoning and sauce weren’t for me...
Akira S — Google review
Basic, no-frills yakiniku restaurant. The place is small and you'd wait at least 30 minutes most of the time. You can find the restaurant from the long line of people standing in front of it. I had the lunch set, which entails a pork all-you-can-eat in 45 minutes for 970 yen. The cuts are good for the price, though I find the seasonings can be better. The 45 minutes alloted gives most people at most four plates of meat orders, which is more than enough to make you full until night. I haven't had the chance to try the fancier cuts. Overall, I'd eat here again if the line in front of the restaurant isn't horrendously long.

SALVATORE CUOMO & BAR Ikebukuro is an Italian restaurant known for its great atmosphere and delicious pizza. The thin base of their pizzas is particularly noteworthy, as it melts in your mouth with flavorful oils. Despite being a bit pricy, the restaurant offers fantastic value for money with its all-you-can-eat option that includes pizza, pasta, salad, desserts, and drinks at an affordable price.
Fantastic value for money... Pizza, pasta, salad, desserts and drinks for around 1500 yen for 00 minutes. Like most buffets, the food is best when it's fresh out the kitchen, and surprisingly tasty.

Prices on the higher side for Japan and the pizza wasn't great. Very oily and the base was pretty much raw. Waiting times pretty long. As the most expensive meal myself and my partner had in Japan over 10 days it came as a huge disappointment..
Izaak C — Google review
The place is okay. The food is tasty but slightly overpriced for the portion. I spent 2000yen for a small drink and pasta with tomato and meat sauce. Not much meat and a bit more pasta would have been appreciated. However, the sauce was great and you can feel it was homemade. I will probably come back for the buffet which seems to be a must try and update my review based on this

My stay at Hotel Resol included breakfast buffet at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the food variety here. There were options of western and Japanese food. And I'd say the food was cooked decently.

Everything self-served. No service at all. Tried the breakfast here but choices are very limited. Taste are just edible. Around 80% of the time the plates are empty and refilled with very slow speed. What interesting is they asked us to wear gloves when getting food for hygiene reason. But I observed their chef after cleaning pots and plates, he use his bare hands to grab the deep fried fish from the basket to put on the plates. This is totally unacceptable.

(Translated by Google) I used it for lunch on a public holiday. As mentioned in other reviews, the salad dressing is the best. For my main dish, I ordered beef sirloin steak, and the butter on top of the beef was good. This is better than salt and pepper...! The steak comes with a mini salad, but I also ordered a Caribbean salad. Again, the dressing is good. I don't care if it's expensive, I want to buy it for home use lol (Original)

(Translated by Google) It was Sunday lunchtime and there were long lines at every restaurant, but since this restaurant is a little far away, there was only one seat available. Even when customers leave, seats fill up quickly, so the restaurant is nearly full. When you order from the menu, you get a set that includes a salad, bread, and a drink. The food was served about 10 minutes after ordering. There didn't seem to be many staff in the back, but they must be very efficient. There were also only two people working in the dining area, which was impressive. The food tasted great. Thank you for the meal. I'll come again. (Translated by Google) The crispy soft shell was small and the portion was too small, so the price, taste, and amount were not well balanced. The long fries were soft and mushy, and not as crispy or crunchy as regular French fries. The Kraken (spaghetti) and Caribbean salad were delicious. The Kaisoku pizza also had a curry flavor, which was a bit unusual. The price of each dish was a bit high, so I got the impression that the volume and taste were not balanced. Credit cards are accepted. Also, during dinner hours, a seat charge (bread fee) of just over 300 yen per person is charged. The amount of bread for four people is as shown in the attached photo. It is a shame that the amount of bread is stingy and the bread itself is not tasty. If they are going to force us to pay for bread, I would like them to serve more delicious bread.

Located just a short stroll from Shinjuku Station, Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo is a luxurious accommodation with a variety of room options including traditional Japanese rooms and Hello Kitty-themed rooms. The hotel boasts 11 restaurants, a shopping arcade, and a gym. Its 47-storey tower offers stunning views of the serene Shinjuku Gyoen Park, providing an oasis in the bustling city.
I stayed here during my visit to Tokyo. It's location and proximity to train stations are so advantageous. You have access to a large number of train lines at Shinjuku and the Oedo line, which is right in front of the hotel. Its so convenient! The hotel itself is amazing and offers a lot of amenities for customers to utilize. I highly recommend this property to stay at. The staff is so nice and professional. I loved my experience there and will be staying there again on my next visit go Tokyo!

Feedback for Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo – Premier Grand Stay We stayed at Keio Plaza Hotel for 11 days during our trip to Tokyo and chose the Premier Grand room with club lounge access. The package included breakfast, afternoon tea, and light snacks before dinner, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel’s location was very convenient, with easy access to JR lines, making it a great base for exploring the city. While our overall experience was positive, there are a few areas where we felt the guest experience could be improved: 1. *Late Check-Out Experience* We requested a late check-out, as our transport was scheduled to arrive at 1:55 PM. While the standard check-out time is 11:00 AM, I asked for a short extension (up to 1:00 PM). However, I was informed this would incur an additional charge. Another staff member kindly offered that we could stay in the club lounge until 2:30 PM, which we appreciated. That said, we were repeatedly reminded that we were not allowed to consume any food during that time. While we understand the policy, the manner in which it was communicated felt unnecessarily pointed — being told multiple times made the experience feel less like a courtesy and more like a reprimand. For Premier Grand guests, a more tactful and considerate approach would go a long way in maintaining a sense of hospitality. 2. *Departure and Bell Service* When it was time to leave, we waited for the airport limousine bus with our luggage. Although our bags were returned to us, there was no assistance offered in handling them. At 1:50 PM, when our transport arrived, we noticed several bell staff present at the entrance, but no help or acknowledgment was extended, even though there were no other guests around at the time. While we’re certainly capable of managing our own bags, the lack of service at departure stood in stark contrast to the otherwise warm welcome at check-in. It left the experience feeling somewhat incomplete. Despite these points, we still had a pleasant stay and truly enjoyed the amenities, location, and comfort of the hotel. With some adjustments in guest service continuity, especially for Premier Grand guests, the experience could be elevated from good to truly excellent.

What a marvelous place. The staff here are very professional and helpful. We booked a superior king room on a grand premier floor. It was spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed, with robes, slippers, L'Occitane products, Nespresso, and plentiful bath linens. The shower/tub area was spacious with excellent water pressure. Modern technology included control panel for lighting and black out blinds. Wi-Fi was adequate. Room service was available and reasonably priced. The room included breakfast buffet at three different restaurants within the hotel. The spread included both Japanese & western food choices and was extensive and delicious! Also included was access to two lounges open from 5:30p for free cocktails and appetizers with spectacular views and lovely ambiance. Access to (one of the many outlets of) Shinjuku station was immediately out the back of the hotel, connecting you to anywhere in Tokyo. The limousine bus going directly to HND airport picks up at the hotel so super convenient. Overall we loved this hotel and can't wait to stay here again.

I had the opportunity to stay in the more recently renovated rooms that are larger. I had no complaints as the service was great and our room was always clean. We stayed for a total of three weeks and the concierge went above and beyond for my wife. One in particular lady was Matsumoto who we would like to thank. There were many more others as well but I could not remember their names so my apologies. The hotel is a short walk to Shinjuku station and there is a 7 eleven in the building. We even used the free bus to Disneyland which was great. The front staff were great and my kid really liked sky plaza.
Michael B — Google review
The hotel itself is beautiful, though it does feel a bit outdated. The customer service was excellent—staff were polite, professional, and always willing to help. However, a few of the other services could use some improvement. The laundry room, for example, operates on a first-come, first-served basis and can be paid with either coins or an IC card for cashless convenience. The machines wash and dry in one cycle, but if you don’t fill the clothes up to the standard line, they don’t dry properly. Even when used correctly, I found that clothes sometimes came out damp, which isn’t ideal—especially when you’re on vacation and end up staying up late just to finish laundry. The hotel also offers Yamato luggage delivery service, which is convenient, but it’s important to know that they only accept cash payments and require you to send your luggage at least two days before your flight or next hotel stay. There’s also a 30kg weight limit. On the plus side, there’s a 24/7 7-Eleven with an ATM located directly beneath the hotel, which makes grabbing snacks or essentials very easy. The location near the train station is also great for getting around Tokyo. Overall, this is an okay hotel—comfortable and convenient, but with a few areas that could use an update or better practicality for travelers.
Rocke C — Google review
Good hotel, feels fresh and bustling. The rooms are bigger than average for a hotel in Tokyo. It’s extremely western in style and amenities. Some qualms with the location. Shinjuku station is currently going through massive construction which adds another 5mins on your journey both in and out of the station (that is the best case scenario). This isn’t the fault of the hotel but honestly extremely bad that I wouldn’t stay here again until construction is done. The station is madness and when it’s busy it’s unbearable. Lots of restaurants, though on the weekend make sure to book. The Chinese one was absolutely amazing and affordable. We ate here twice (didn’t book ahead) There is a pool that’s outdoors and seasonally closed. Bit of an odd choice. Missing a sauna/onsen. Great views and amazing inclusion of the viewing floor with free coffee for hotel guests. Overall would stay again, but probably in the future.

We had an excellent stay at the Keio Plaza. My family and I were visiting Tokyo for the first time from the U.S. The hotel has a perfect location, outstanding staff, and very good accommodations. The staff really stood out. They were always available and always extremely helpful. When they were busy they always told us exactly when they could help us. Their advice on Tokyo was invaluable. We never felt lost in that huge, strange city thanks to them. My wife and I had a minor problem with the room, and they fixed it right away. The location is great. Although it is not near any of the big tourist attractions, it is in the busy Shinjuku neighborhood and a short walk to the train station. There are tons of restaurants within just a few blocks. We didn't eat at the hotel, because we wanted "real" Tokyo cuisine, so I can't comment on the hotel's food. We always found someplace interesting and fun nearby to eat. It is located near the main government building and near several large businesses, which could make this a good hotel for business travelers. The rooms are surprisingly quiet for such a busy neighborhood. The gym and do-it-yourself laundry facilities are a plus, although these were sometimes crowded (if you work out in the morning, get to the gym very early if you want a treadmill). If I ever get the opportunity to return to Tokyo, this would be my first choice of places to stay.

Always a pleasant experience staying in Keio! It’s a drop-off and pick-up point for the Airport Limousine Bus, thus making the traveling experience far easier. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the Shinjuku station (and the rest of bustling Shinjuku). The view from our room was spectacular as we had a glimpse of Mt. Fuji and of the light show in the government building right beside Keio. The room was clean and spacious as the bed even had a pull-out even if the room was only booked for 2 guests. Toiletries were complete!

Nestled in Decks Odaiba, the Ocean Club Buffet is a dining gem that captures the essence of a luxurious cruise ship experience. This buffet restaurant boasts an impressive array of dishes, blending Japanese and Western cuisines with delightful Asian flavors. Guests can indulge in hearty options like beef stew, alongside a plethora of desserts that will satisfy any sweet tooth.
Main options for vegetarians were salads and tofu soup. Vegan.... not sure. Otherwise, lots of options like steamed pork buns, salmon sushi, chicken curry and even pizza. There was plenty of icecream, custard, and jelly dessert options. The dining area is very spacious with an exit to the porch. There are seats outside but no shade. The sous chef, I assume, was very kind and welcoming to my classmates and I. He ensured the dishes were neat, accessible, presentable, and prepared!

Great view, sad food. The most interesting thing on the buffet was probably the slushee machine, and the cream pudding wasn’t bad. Besides that, everything was bland, uninteresting, or tasted like something was wrong with it. If you want to pay for the view, then this place will do fine. But don’t expect much from the food.

Good Atmosphere and nice Barbecue We were there with a big group. When we entered, there was a lot of smoke in the air, but a friend warned us beforehand, not to wear good clothes, so it was alright. We then sat at two tables with grills inside. We could order everything, from meat to vegetables, via a touchpad, all in japanese. The meat didn't look very good but it tastes alright, the vegetables und other things were tasty too. We had all you can drink besides that and it was a really good value for money! 2,400 yen all you can eat and all you can drink

Place is good, easy to find and very close to Yoyogi station. They accommodated us 30mins early than the reservation time. All the meat are very tasty specially their domestic beef and legendary chicken except the liver (pork and beef) are very hard to chew. Other than that, everything tasted good. I just wish they’d let us do take out for our leftover 😊

Though modestly priced, the dish was a delightful revelation—rich in flavor, generously portioned, and wholly satisfying, the chill lo-fi music in the background also added some vibe to this cozy place would 100% recommend!

Pino, nestled within the Dai-Ichi Inn Ikebukuro, offers a delightful dining experience with its lunch and breakfast buffets. Priced at a reasonable 1,500 yen for an unlimited time during lunch, guests can also opt for a quick 60-minute plan at just 1,080 yen. The buffet features an impressive array of both Japanese and Western dishes made from organic vegetables that are not only healthy but have also garnered attention on television.

I told the hotel front desk that I only wanted to use breakfast and purchased a meal ticket, handed it to the staff at the breakfast venue, sat down at my favorite seat, and started the buffet. The curry, fried chicken, and espresso were my hits. Although there weren't many items, the plates were frequently replenished when they became empty. Although it is called buffet style, it is actually an all-you-can-eat system, so it is what is called a buffet. The price is 1,300 yen (1,500 yen on the day). I think there was a sufficient number of Japanese and Western food items. At least from what I received, the food was of excellent quality. It used to be popular for lunch, but it was canceled due to the coronavirus, so I didn't go there anymore, but before I knew it, it was only open for breakfast. 1500 yen per person. Free for children under 3 years old. From 4 years old, you will be charged the adult price. I paid in advance at the reception on the second floor, took my meal ticket and headed straight to the restaurant. Most of the customers seem to be hotel guests, but you can eat there even if you aren't. The taste is not much different from the previous Pinot. It's very common and comes in many varieties. Since it's breakfast, I'd be happy if it was a little more Japanese food. I'm really happy to be able to make Ochazuke. I was able to use the Jalan coupon to get the quick plan for 180 yen including wine. The shop is located on the second floor of a hotel, a 2-minute walk from the east exit of Ikebukuro Station, and one side is made of glass, allowing you to see the Saikyo Line trains up close. The capacity is about 100 people. It's more like a family restaurant atmosphere. The contents of the buffet are standard and not particularly good or bad, but I especially recommend the fluffy omelet and the spicy green curry with coconut milk. There is only one type of soup, so it would be nice to have more options. As a general review, the price is already reasonable, but the Quick Plan is even more advantageous. We also recommend this restaurant to those who work in offices near the hotel, as it can be enjoyed for a little more than your weekday lunch budget. The staff was friendly and the quality of the food was well controlled and replenished from time to time. Unfortunately, the curry had a complex taste and was lacking in spices, so the taste was vague and disappointing... It would be perfect if it could be improved. Other dishes included fresh vegetables, a large piece of salmon with the bones removed, rich scrambled eggs, shrimp soup dumplings, grated yam, pasta, beans and rice, and roast beef, all of which were delicious. Since the cost performance is good, I will recommend it to my friends. I also liked that there was no time limit such as a 90 minute time limit so I could take my time and not feel time pressure. LAITIER is a popular sweets shop in Tokyo, conveniently located near Kitasando Station and Sendagaya Station. They offer a variety of soft serve ice cream options, with the Tiramisu soft serve being highly recommended. The milk-based soft serve is known for its deep milk flavor and comes with toppings such as honey and three types of nuts. Despite the slightly higher prices, customers find the desserts to be delicious and worth trying.
I loved their milk ice cream. Tried plain without any toppings and really enjoyed it. They also had an English menu with pictures making it easy to order for us individuals who cannot speak or read Japanese. Would come back if I wasn’t heading out tomorrow. They also have such cute little decorations in the restaurant.
Daniela C — Google review
The soft serve here is a milk base (about 400 yen by itself) with some toppings that you can choose from (this brings the price up to 800-900 yen). Had the honey and nuts choice because it was the #1 most popular. The honey they used tasted really nice, albeit there was not a lot of it. There isn't much space to eat inside, but it's a good idea to eat while walking back to the station.

Prices a little higher, around ¥700-900, but delicious. I always try to drop-by when I’m in the area. Their seasonal flavors are great as well. It’s a small store and can get crowded inside, so most people buy their ice cream and eat outside. They also sell other desserts and small cake slices.

It's nice soft serve ice cream but not worth the high prices, in my opinion!
Yuxi Z — Google review
*soft serve w honey and 3 types of nuts 100% understood why it is so popular. it's not "quite a soft serve milk". just legit. To be dramatic, it's rather ethereal. milk soft serve with full of deep milk flavor, crunchy nut chunks, and honey! and yet, what is the most exceptional is harmony of each ingrdients. just. can't. argue with it. it's simply that much good. at first I was like, "how could milk soft serve with nuts can be that special?". However, it not only lived up to the review, it rather proved to be far far beyond my expectation. *Azuki soft serve soft serve milk w Azuki(red bean paste). soft serve was decent just like always, and red bean paste is pretty good as well! recommend it to people who want to eat soft cream anmistu without agar. *premium chocolat W soft serve soft cream served with chocolate of good quality.; Crunchy little chocolate balls, and fancy cubed chocolate chunks. Simply good, just like other treats! *Rasberry cheesecake flavor soft serve Cheese cake flavored soft cream topped with chunks of rusk, pistacchio and rasberry jam. love the crispy and crunchy texture of rusk, and little rasberry seeds in rasberry jam. The taste really live up to its name "Rasberry cheesecake". *Mascarpone cheese soft serve extraordinary! exclusive flavor and quite a volume. *homemade custard pudding This is one another treat you have not to miss out aside from soft serve. legit. definitely formidable. It got the very top part with chewy texture, which makes it even more exclusive, whereas bottom part got soft texture. I ate it after a few days later from taking away, but it still kept its own great flavor. *Petit Strawberry pie it was not that crispy cuz it has been quite a time after it was made, but the straw jam in it was decent. Good, but relatively basic comparing to other goodies splendid. *Sakura Chocolate monaka At first, I was not looking forward that much because it was so hard to cut from being dried up, but it turned out to be extraordinary. Filling comprising two layers of white and dark chocolate got straightly crunchy texture and great flavor. Good twist on Monaka. *miscellaneous Just right place for every soft serve lovers!; One of the best soft serve shop in Tokyo with a variety of options and sprightly owners. Small shop but noticeable, because of its color of blue. There's 5 seats of eat in place. It's a good place to take a seat and have some chill, but you can take away all menus as well. Not only sweet goodies but also brunch is available by 15:00. wifi available. no outlet.

I got the 5000 yen bowl including salmon and sea urchin. Salmon is my favourite sashimi by far and the salmon in here was the worst I’ve had in Japan. Meat dish restaurant
Yakitori Moe is a hidden gem located in a secret room across the street from the main restaurant, offering an adventurous dining experience. The whisky ice served here is beautifully crafted, and the skewers are good, with highlights such as chicken meatball with egg yolk, neck, knee cartilage, heart, shiitake mushroom, and ginkgo. The friendly staff provides excellent recommendations for sake pairings and accommodates non-Japanese speakers.
This Japanese culinary gem offers a perfect blend of simplicity and sophistication. Each skewer showcases the chef's mastery of grilling, with the smoky aroma of char-grilled goodness being utterly irresistible. A particularly memorable spot while in Japan.
M. D — Google review
Hands down the best chicken yakitoris we ever had. At first, we thought the skewers were a little pricier than most places, but after trying a couple skewers, we had to order more. Each skewer was charcoal grilled to perfection. Our favorite were the chicken thigh and the chicken butt (surprising, i know). But it was honestly the perfect combo of crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The owner was also super friendly. We were seated in a tiny corner at first when we came in, but later on spots opened up and he offered to switch us to the bar sitting where we could see the chefs in action! Much better atmosphere from then on. Also, there is a 1 drink minimum per person, and if you order ramen, they serve you that at the very end after you are done ordering all the rounds of skewers. They do take about 20 mins to cook each round. Overall, they utilize the chicken parts very well and there were some unique chicken parts skewers also.

We sat front and center at the bar and got to watch the chef prepare each dish. The chicken thigh skewers were excellent, but the standout was the chicken cartilage, absolutely delicious! Not a prob since i just want to eat dinner. Great food - one of the best yakitoro i’ve tasted and great service! The staffs were really accommodating. They cooked the egg as per request 🍳 since i don’t like to eat it raw over rice. The non-alcoholic drink i ordered (white grape juice) was served in a fancy glass wine.. was a really nice touch. Felt like a fine dining xp 🤭 Highly recommended bbq place if you want to splurge a bit. Quality food and top notch service 👌🏼 Arigatou gozaimashita!

Hotel
Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower is a luxurious hotel nestled in the heart of Tokyo, boasting a stunning 4-hectare Japanese garden on its premises. The hotel offers an array of amenities including seven restaurants, a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, and a bar. It is conveniently located within close proximity to the Imperial Palace and various subway lines for easy access around the city. Guests can also explore the nearby Tokyo Skytree, which stands as one of Japan's iconic landmarks.
This is a more vintage hotel with a bit of history that makes it a special place to spend time. The service was the typical top shelf Japanese service. Absolutely impeccable. The rooms felt slightly dated and the hallway decor was kind of odd but it was not a negative. The overall vibe of the hotel was more like a resort with the gardens, the multiple dining options and the pool. The grounds are sprawling with many levels to explore and some nice conveniences tucked here and there, including a Family Mart. Overall, we really loved it here and highly recommend staying. The pool was a trek to get to but so very nice and made the stay so special. I would avoid getting the inclusive breakfast for longer stays since it is expensive and there are some nice family style restaurants to explore nearby. It was nice for one morning however, very high quality. Overall we really loved staying here for part of our time in Tokyo. Many thanks to everyone there!
Patrick K — Google review
The New Otani Hotel in Tokyo is a sprawling masterpiece—lush gardens, elegant rooms, and a vibe that screams high-end hospitality. But the real show? The concierge department, who turned my brother Mitch’s lost bet into a full-blown spectacle! These geniuses embraced his pink maid getup—cat ears, frilly apron and petticoats, and Mary Jane shoes—with infectious glee. They had him dusting desks and tables in the lobby, snapping pics with staff amid the stunning new flower arrangements, and even strutting the long hauls between hotel wings, ensuring every guest got a front-row seat to the bearded blush-fest. Mitch, red-faced but grinning, polished surfaces like a pro while staff cheered and posed for selfies, dubbing him their “honorary maid.” They promised to post to their social media with the evidence and are already begging for his return—plotting round two with extra flair! Service here is next-level: the concierge team’s warmth and playful spirit made Mitch’s mortification a highlight, while the hotel’s amenities—impeccable rooms, gourmet dining, and serene gardens—seal the deal. It’s worth every yen for the experience. If you crave luxury with a dash of hilarious chaos, book a stay and let the New Otani crew work their magic! 🇯🇵🌸😂

This hotel was magnificent. The facilities themselves leave you speechless, as they are a maze to navigate through because of their humongous size, but the effort is worth it. The room was correct, and comfortable, and the breakfast options were top-notch. I'd highly recommend going to the 40th floor to start your day, and also to walk among the bridges at the Japanese Garden. I'd also suggest to future visitors not to go on a rush from one place to another, as it can be really difficult to orientate during the first days, even when looking for the street. It is located only a few minutes away from a subway station and the governmental area
AJ # — Google review
The Garden Lobby breakfast buffet is ~5100 yen per person and not worth the price. It offers an incredibly basic Western spread— eggs, ham, cheese, salad, yogurt, fruit, pastries, juice. The garden view is supposed to be a highlight, but I wasn’t seated near the windows. Rooms are spacious with good city view, but felt old. You’re mostly paying for the hotel’s ambiance and service, which I don’t really care for.

Sotoroku is the hotel restaurant of the Hotel Blossom Hibiya. It is located on the lobby level floor, which has a great view of Shimbashi and Hibiya. The interior is nice, with big windows offering a great view. The staff is not very friendly and speak little English, which is unusual in a hotel in Tokyo nowadays. In addition, the service is pretty poor compared to other restaurants in this price range (expensive). The food, however, is very good. We tried lunch and dinner and were very happy with both. The sake sampler at dinner was nice, but the pour very stingy. Interestingly, the restaurant doesn’t even provide cotton napkins for dinner. We saw one table being offered cloth napkins, but all other tables had cheap paper napkins. This, in addition to the average quality of service, kind of took down the experience one notch. We recommend visiting one of the may restaurants around Shimbashi station instead. The view won’t be as good but the food will be as good. And the service very likely better.

Get the fried oysters! They are the best I've had. The rest was "good", not great. Drinks were so-so. Prices were about what you would expect in a place like this in this location.
Shawn S — Google review
Advertised time says they stop serving/taking orders at 9:30PM and that you must arrive at least 10 minutes before then. We arrived at 8:50 and they turned us away. You should consider the true closing time to be 8:30PM and not 10:30PM then, as their service does not match what was advertised online nor on site at the property. Very upsetting.

Horrible service! I will definitely not recommend anyone to attend this restaurant especially foreigners! Arrived 08:45pm and wait wait and wait til 21:15 pm (bear in mind there were lots of empty tables!!) and then tell us there is only salad left. What’s time point to state your last order is way later but you just don’t want to serve customers? What a stupid lie to tell you there weren’t any food left in the kitchen, apart from salad? They just don’t want us to delay them finish work!!

The worst service I’ve experienced in Japan and I’ve been traveling in this lovely country for the past week. Such a disappointment considering how friendly the Japanese people have been. The food wasn’t terrible, but the staff, mainly the manager and waitress, both had the most sour attitude. I didn’t engage much with them, but clearly they are unhappy with their job or something else. I am staying at the hotel and would not recommend dining here for lunch or dinner.
Louisa B — Google review
They have one single restaurant for the hotel, and it’s closed for a private party :-/ Their breakfast servings end 9:30 am on a Weekend. They must have no love for the night owls 🥺
Eray B — Google review
Although this restaurant is open until 10pm you need to order your food by 9.30 and we were reminded of such a couple of times as we got to the restaurant about 9.10 . We were also served a small starter that we did order and which we think was added to our bill when we came to settle our hotel bill at the end of our holiday, but we chose not to contest this. There was only one other couple in the restaurant so not really any atmosphere. The food we ordered was served promptly and was very good, tasty and hot.
Becky H — Google review
Sotoroku is ridiculously overpriced for the food that they serve and the atmosphere that they have. We ended up paying 8.6k Yen for 2 dishes and a beer. The dishes with regards to taste were excellent, but the portions are horrendous. This restaurant wants to be a high dining restaurant, but fails to deliver that luxury feeling and is not worth it's asking price. A large disappointment.

Buffet restaurant
Garden Dining is a delightful culinary haven nestled within the Grand Nikko Tokyo in Odaiba. This spacious restaurant invites you to indulge in an exquisite buffet experience, featuring a menu that celebrates seasonal ingredients and highlights popular dishes like succulent roast beef paired with fresh local vegetables. The airy atmosphere, complemented by serene garden views, creates a relaxing dining environment perfect for both lunch and dinner.
Located on 1F. One of the better hotel breakfast buffets. We were greeted by the staff upon arrival, who promptly led us to our table. Service was tip top. Staff were quick to serve and were very friendly, as expected from a 5 star hotel. Ladles and food containers were frequently checked and replaced. Food was good. Doesn't have a wide variety of food, but was compensated with very high food quality. There are sections for salad, western, cereals, Japanese and pastry foods.

Buffet is very good taste and good price of 7,000 JPY for 90 minutes. Japanese crabs are good for foreigners and sweets are so Japanese styles and good. Please try this restaurant!

We went for the lunch buffet. The service was good; however, the food was not that exceptional. I think the the Nikko lunch buffet at the Nikko hotel Maihama is the better option.

Nice and quite place for a family lunch. Buffet is not very big, but there are seasonal changes.

The buffet was very disappointing. The crab neither looked good nor tasted good and was nothing like advertised. Other dishes were also meh. Overall, not worth the price at all, cannot recommend.

The Shinagawa Prince Hotel is a modern high-rise accommodation offering sleek rooms and a range of amenities. Luxe Dining Hapuna, one of its restaurants, is highly praised for its quality food and service, featuring over 70 different dishes including Japanese roast beef, crabs, non-Japanese Asian cuisine, and a chocolate fountain for dessert. The hotel's convenient location near Haneda airport and Shinagawa station provides easy access to various areas in Tokyo.
Perfect location — the hotel is right across the street from Shinagawa Station, making it super convenient for getting around Tokyo or catching the Shinkansen. The breakfast experience was mind-boggling! I’ve never seen such a long lineup so early in the morning for a hotel breakfast— the line forms around 6:30 AM, but it moves surprisingly fast, so no worries there. The buffet itself is outstanding, offering a huge variety of Japanese and Western dishes, all fresh and beautifully arranged. The staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist despite the busy atmosphere. Overall, an excellent stay — convenient, comfortable, and an unforgettable breakfast experience!

Great hotel. Staff was really nice and breakfast was spectacular! A lot of variety of food. The views from the room were amazing as well. The only thing we didnt enjoy is that we booked months ago and let them know it was our honeymoon and they still put us in a room with 2 single beds :( would have prefered double bed on this special occasion.

This is a solid typical tokyo business style hotel. Rooms are the standard size for hotels in this price range. Cool lounge space on upper floor that was used for a basic breakfast that was part of our room. The breakfast was fine, but I wouldn't pay extra as there are plenty of spots in area to get a quick bite. Location is the star, right by the station and a very easy trip to Haneda Airport. Stayed in January 25 and would recommend for first night in Tokyo with a plan to get on Shinkansen in the am.

We stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Tokyo with our 20-month-old baby and had a lovely experience. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from Shinagawa Station, which made it very convenient to travel around Tokyo and to Haneda Airport. Although the hotel doesn’t provide a baby cot, we appreciated that the toiletries included a baby set — a thoughtful touch for families traveling with young children. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The highlight was definitely the stunning Mount Fuji view from our window — a beautiful sight to wake up to! There are many dining options and convenience stores nearby, and having restaurants and shops within the hotel complex made things much easier with a toddler. Overall, a comfortable and family-friendly stay in a great location. We would happily return again on our next Tokyo trip!

I definitely feel like a prince after this. Came with a tour so I didn’t get to experience what the hotel has to offer. I believe there are 3 buildings connected to each other with different facilities. Room was pretty good except that there were only 3 sockets. One on the table, one in the toilet and one outside the toilet wall for some reason. Most of the hotels I went came with 2 or more sockets on the table so this one was weird. Nevertheless, the view was great and the best feature for me was that it is super close to Shinagawa Station which is simply across the road. Overall a great hotel with a high price tag.

I’ve been standing in line for breakfast for almost half an hour now, so writing this review feels like my small battle against boredom. The hotel itself is enormous - more like a city within a city. When I arrived for the first time, I was genuinely confused about which tower my room was in. The staff’s English is acceptable, but as I’ve learned in Japan, even the simplest request can easily turn into a long and complicated process. In hindsight, I almost regret asking for anything at all. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, so there’s really nothing to complain about in that regard. The real problem lies in the endless queues - everywhere. It feels like a river of people flowing nonstop. Breakfast is a complete disaster; it doesn’t matter whether you come at 6:30, 8:00, or 9:00 - it’s always crowded and far from relaxing. The whole experience feels mechanical: come, sit, eat, leave, next! The location is definitely a plus, but that’s about it. It’s fine for short business trips, but I wouldn’t recommend it for leisure or family stays. The whole place feels impersonal and overwhelming - like being an ant in a giant anthill.
Michał B — Google review
Easy to reach from Shinagawa station. Very attentive employee's, good rooms, but take care in which category you book. I am in the Annex T Tower. Cost more but much better. Great view onto Tokyo, very impressive Skyline. Definitely a place to go again, when I am back in Tokyo.
Christian H — Google review
Room is tiny as expected. Close to Shinagawa station for easy access. to subway and back to Haneda Airport. My biggest complaint is the room is hot and the AC in the room doesn't adjust to the temperature one sets. Don't have control over it. Winter is tolerable. I can't imagine a hot summer and able to cool the room 💀

The Asakusa View Hotel is a stylish property offering sleek rooms with city views and eclectic dining options. The hotel's restaurant, Musashi, located on the 26th floor, offers a marvelous buffet with over 150 varieties of Western, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel provides good value with room options ranging from inexpensive singles to deluxe quadruples.
This is one of the best value-for-money hotels out there. The only downside is it is far from train stations but the walk towards those would be excellent since you will be forced to walk through the Sensoji Temple Grounds. It is beside a grocery store where you can buy all the things you need included packed food. Lots of convenience stores as well. As if that's not enough, its a few blocks away from the largets Donki in Asakusa which is open 24/7. As to the rooms, they are spacious and comfortable. The main highlight is the view though. It offers an unbelievable view of Tokyo Skytree. Great view.
RAYMOND P — Google review
The view of the hotel is good. There are also many restaurants nearby, which is good. But the bed and bedclothes that are too old make the feeling bad. Three people stayed for two nights out of necessity. Parking is available in the basement and the space is good, but you have to pay for it. The cost for 2 nights was 117,000Yen. There are many delicious places nearby, including a buffet Chinese restaurant and a Japanese Izakaya. Have a nice trip.
Gyoung K — Google review
The room was very clean and orderly. The view was phenomenal over Sensoji Temple and Tokyo Skytree. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in assisting us with airplane shuttle accommodations. They were not flexible with room check in times if you arrive earlier than expected. All in all, highly recommend this hotel for a stay.
Julio D — Google review
The rooms are great. Even though the bedding looks a little outdated the rooms feel nice. The views are AMAZING. Waking up and seeing skytree lit up was magical. My biggest complaint was the actual beds. We stayed on the 11th floor and our mattresses were hard as a rock. It was really bad after spending all day exploring to come back to a bad bed. We were also able to get a crib for the room at no extra cost and it was so nice. There was storage underneath for diapers or luggage and it came with a mini pillow for baby. Other than the beds everything else (location, restaurants, service, and views) was really great.
Allie N — Google review
The hotel is in a great location, the lobby is very nice, and the staff is great. The room quality is kind of average and I don’t think is accurately priced. I left a lower star hotel to stay here in pursuit of views & more space but ended up with a very small difference in size. The rooms are also a little old and could be renovated. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again because of the room quality/price disconnect when local 2/3 stars are priced considerably cheaper with a near equal amount of space.
Wolfgang N — Google review
I would've given 5 star if it wasn't for the wifi issue. I stayed here for 5 consecutive days but I couldn't use the internet at all. The connection was so slow that I couldn't load anything. Otherwise, everthing was perfect. The location is really convenient to go anywhere (in Tokyo). It takes like 10 min of walking to the Asakusa temple (Senso-Ji) and the nightlife nearby is another highlight worth mentioning. Lots of restaurants/activities are within the circumference of 10 min walking. Of course, we can't set too high expectations for roominess of a hotel in the downtown of Tokyo. But the coziness and modernity of the room satisfy me enough.
Kenz N — Google review
Great service and location for access to Ueno and the Skytree. Lots of local alleys to explore. Rooms are just a little run down but we still had a pleasant stay with a sensational view.

Sushi restaurant
Japanese restaurant
Hina Sushi Nishiginza is a popular sushi buffet in Tokyo known for its extensive selection of fresh seafood sushi. It caters to tourists with English menus, making it convenient for international visitors. While it can get crowded and noisy, the quality and taste of the sushi are generally good, with the fatty tuna being highly recommended. Priced at around $35, it's considered well worth the cost, but arriving early is advisable to avoid long waits.
Overall a very good experience (5-star rating to offset unjustifiable low reviews!) In essence, you get what you pay for and the value is solid. Opted for 5,400 JPY all you can eat, easily managed 5 orders which amounts to up to 100 pieces in total. For two people, the value is very good, considering you get complimentary green tea and water (unlimited). As for the quality, this likely won't be among top 15 sushi spots you've ever tried but that is to be expected given the price point. Staff was otherwise very friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for anything. I would definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover that wants to eat a lot of it.
Ines — Google review
All you can eat sushi that’s not up to my standards. There’s only 2-3 sushi dishes that lived up to my standards, salmon belly, cheek, and maybe eel. They give you extra big rice portions compared with regular sushi restaurants to fill you up quickly and there’s penalty if you waste food, a bit tricky. I thought I could take my kids and they could pick whatever they liked and enjoyed all. But all they ate was egg omelette sushi. You can easily get better quality with this price in Taiwan and Vietnam.
Kuo W — Google review
Not sure what's going on with all the negative reviews but definitely had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful, explained everything and came over right away when called. The fish quality is better Kura sushi but the price is also higher as well. For the most part, the fatties will just melt in your mouth and everything tasted fresh. They had a solid selection of fish and uni is included in the AYCE so it's hard to complain. You did not have to wait long to order, once they drop off your food, you can put in your next order right away so you don't have to wait. They do say that they're going to charge you for any extras on the plate which is common practice at ayce. It's close to the station. Fish is good, price is higher, id recommend for sure.
Calvin L — Google review
This is the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life, not just in Japan, but worldwide. The fish didn’t taste fresh, the quality wasn’t good at all, and the rice is not seasoned properly. Everything about this experience almost gets a 2/10. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

This place was one of our first planned food stops on our first trip to Japan. We had seen very positive mouth-watering reviews on Youtube. It did not disappoint. The variety and quality was amazing. We tried everything and it all tasted incredible. And so reasonably priced for all you can eat. We only wish we could have fit in a second visit before leaving Tokyo. Will be making this our first food stop again the next time we return to Tokyo.
Nghiem T — Google review
We went for the "All You can eat" option. There was a wide range of sushi to choose from and everything we tasted was delicious. The staff was nice and the whole experience was well worth the money.

Above average sushi. Quantity over quality. Order only 20 pieces per order. Slow service. Paper menu. Male and female prices are different by 3$. 2hr seating, last order at 90mins. Between 3 people, we ate around 133 sushi, 5 bowls of miso soup, and 3 Chawanmushi. Very filling.

Tried the grill oyster all you can eat lunch course at JPY4048 per person. Add JPY660 per person can also bring own drinks in and I see most local parties do this. Time limit for all you can eat is 100 mins and last order at 70 mins. Within that time window we had 4 rounds of 15 and 1 last round of 6 because we were so full already. Oyster tasted good. Overall good value for the price.

This place is a scam 🙂 I don’t even want to give one star. All the good review probably are bought one. Everyone, take a look at the picture: 9 oysters, 3 scallops, 3 shrimp, a few slices of pork and lamb, plus some vegetables. Does this look like it’s worth 16,500 yen? 😅 (5,500 yen per person). I booked this restaurant because I saw many good reviews online saying it was buffet style. But when we arrived, it was nothing like the reviews that mentioned “friendly staff” or “Chinese-speaking staff.” All the staff here had a terrible attitude. At first, they even tried to refuse us entry, saying that without booking two days in advance we couldn’t come in. I showed one staff member my same-day reservation, but she still had to check with all the other staff before letting us in. That was fine, but… We made it clear from the beginning that we wanted the buffet. The staff gave us a menu without any explanation and just walked away. We had to call them over several times and talk to different people before we could even place an order. After finishing the food, we asked for more, but they said it would cost extra. We asked, “Isn’t this a buffet?” Then a man (one staff member said he was the manager) spoke very rudely to us, saying it wasn’t a buffet but a set meal. But from the very start, even before we entered, we had repeatedly confirmed we were there for the oyster buffet! Later, one staff member who understood English a little better came to serve us. We explained the situation to her, but in the middle of our conversation, the so-called manager forcibly pulled her away, refusing to let her talk with us. Honestly, I felt like they were taking advantage of us foreigners not understanding Japanese. And this portion of food for this price? No way. Even at five-star restaurants I get more than this and this was just a small restaurant under the railway tracks. Not a single staff member apologized or explained anything throughout the whole experience. This kind of dishonest place should really be avoided. I’ll be posting the same review and videos on Xiaohongshu, Twitter, and Instagram. This was the first time I’ve ever been treated like this, and I just can’t accept it.🙂

A Japanese-style oyster bar and BBQ place is located near Shinashi station. You can bring your drinks if you pay for some boxes. It’s pretty affordable. The oysters are always umami-rich and fresh.

This oyster restaurant is recommended by one of my friends we traveling together. We ordered 12 fresh Japanese oysters and 12 well cooked one. Of course, beer is essential element during dinner. The quality of oyster is remarkable and good value for money. You should check on the restaurant when you visit Tokyo.

One of the remaining cool hole in the wall under the tracks places. This is not fancy dining, but the oysters are fresh and good! Order your drinks and they'll start you off with a couple of steamed oysters. Follow that up with their selection of fresh raw oysters and then go for the grilled ones. If you want to bring your own drinks, you can opt for the all you can BYOB for 600 yen per person. Good for groups. English menus available.

Oyster Bistro Kaigarasou Iidabashi Sakura Terrace shop offers a delightful dining experience with its reasonably priced fried oysters, which are a local favorite. The oysters, sourced from various locations in Japan, are coated in a thick batter and can be enjoyed with tartar sauce or their unique in-house sauces. While the oysters may not be as fresh as those from rural areas, the restaurant compensates with well-presented dishes and friendly staff who provide excellent service.

Fancy oyster restaurant. Oysters are from different locations in Japan however not as fresh as from the countryside harvest. Food presentation was well thought and shown. Staff were friendly and goes the extra mile in giving good service. Patio ambiance was nice. They have their own toilet but could get crowded so you can use the building’s common toilet which is a minute or 2 walk from the restaurant but the same floor though. A little bit inconvenient for me.

(Translated by Google) We visited at 5pm when they opened. The recommended dish is the sea urchin carbonara. The whelk and mushroom bourguignon has a slightly bitter taste, probably because it uses liver, so it goes well with white wine. It's a table for four, but all the plates are large, so if you order all at once you'll have to eat in a hurry, so it's better to order at different times to enjoy it more! The seasoning for the raw oysters comes in bottles, which is stylish! The atmosphere is like an overseas bar, so you can enjoy it with a large group! Of course, the atmosphere is also great, so it's great for dates! Parking is available within Sakura Terrace, but please note that you will not receive preferential treatment even if you dine with us. I visited here because I wanted to eat oysters. To order, first compare the tastes of oysters by region. We had fried oysters, oyster and spinach ajillo, snow crab and salmon roe paella, clam tomato sauce risotto, and fries. Everything was delicious. For the clam tomato sauce risotto, it was great to be able to choose the ingredients myself. For the time being, it was a restaurant that served all kinds of oysters. We don't drink alcohol, so I thought it might be a nuisance since it was a wine store. Monjaya is a Japanese restaurant that offers both okonomiyaki and monjayaki, two types of savory pancakes. The main difference between the two dishes is their shape and consistency, with monjayaki having a more liquid-like batter due to its higher water content. At Monjaya, customers can try various dishes including the recommended Mentaiko Mochi Cheese.
Amazing place, probably often overlooked since it's located on the 4th floor and only marked by a small sign. It's really cozy and clean. Every table has a grill where you will prepare your okonomiyaki. If you don't know how to, the employees are very helpful and will assist. It's a very fun experience mixing ones own meal and preparing it. Though the ones I met were not able to speak English, there is an English menu and the prices vary between 600-1200 yen. 660 for a standard meal. In my case the most expensive items were the drinks, two glasses of ginger ale = 750 yen. So if you're on a budget, you can always stick with free water. The food is delicious and filling and I would definitely recommend this place!

Place is convenient to fimd since it's close by Shinjuku station. However the waiteresses didn't smile at all and seemed bored. The food tasted fine but was not the best you can find, even at low price.

The place was nearly empty during lunch time on a Monday. A small elevator takes you to the restaurant. You order the ingredients and then you cook it on the griddle at the table. The condiments and sauces make the dishes!

Very delicious and inventive drinks. Tried REDD2 and Symbol today and both have very nice and unique Drinks. Can recommend especially the Wasabi G+T! Price heavily depends on if you come during happy hour. 20% service charge just so you know. Would have Tried REDD 1 too but its Karaoke Bar

I stopped by early in the evening and feel like I missed out on the full vibe. The music was already great — upbeat and a fun contrast to the bar’s cool, stylish decor. Later in the night there’s a live DJ, which I didn’t catch this time, but it sounds like the place really comes alive. The drink menu is packed with creative options; I tried a couple and they were both fantastic. I’d definitely come back — it seems like an awesome spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a night out as a couple.

Pace Italian Lounge Azabujuban is a delightful haven for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine, where the emphasis on organic vegetables sourced from local farmers truly shines. The menu boasts standout dishes like the Yamagata Beef Tagliata, featuring tender sirloin steak drizzled with a rich dashi sauce that beautifully melds soy and herbs. Another must-try is the Freshwater Shrimp paired with a luscious mascarpone tomato sauce that tantalizes the taste buds.
Had a great dinner at a reasonable price. The salad with house dressing was very nice and the grilled swordfish was cooked perfectly with a nice pesto sauce and grilled vegetables. Healthy and delicious.

GET THE FRIES. Went to a wedding party. Great place. Was warm, but a few dozen people moving around in an underground space is probably difficult to ventilate. The fries were made by God. Like, I have no idea if the fries are on the normal menu. I don't know how they were that good. But if you go here and don't get the fries, you wasted your night.

Good for a nightcap/coffee with a group of friends because they are open late and never crowded. I haven't tried the food. The underground space is conducive to private parties. The acoustics is terrible, so if you happen to sit next to a group of drunk ladies cackling over bottles of wine, it could get uncomfortably loud.

During my recent solo trip to Tokyo, I had the pleasure of dining at Arigataya - Japanese Wagyu, and it was truly a highlight of my journey. This charming spot near Tokyo Tower offers an unforgettable omakase experience that celebrates the exquisite flavors of wagyu beef. I indulged in the King Set, which featured a delightful array of fresh salads, rich soups, and various cuts of wagyu expertly grilled over charcoal.
A truly unforgettable solo birthday dinner in Tokyo. I visited Arigataya during my solo trip to Tokyo in December last year, while looking for a special omakase dinner to celebrate my birthday near Tokyo Tower—and I’m so glad I found this gem. I booked a solo seat through Google Maps, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. The wagyu was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with each course featuring different cuts and cooking styles. Even the small starters, like the plum-marinated appetizer and the seasonal vegetables, were full of delicate, thoughtful flavor. The sauces were subtle and paired perfectly with every bite. The atmosphere was serene and warm—perfect for a quiet, intimate dinner. I mentioned in my reservation that it was my birthday, and to my surprise, the chef surprised me with a special smoothie topped with a candle sparkler. As someone celebrating alone in a foreign country, it meant the world to me.
Jingyi L — Google review
The service was incredible and everyone was so kind. The chef clearly knows his craft — my husband and I are still dreaming about the steak! We did the King Omakase and it was hands down the best meal we had in Tokyo. Could not recommend this place enough!

Easily our favorite meal during a 2 week trip to Japan! It was so amazing that we actually came back for a second dinner. I would highly recommend the Joker Omakase. Every single bite was magnificent - the highest quality meat cooked perfectly. So fresh. Cozy vibe, run by a very nice couple. Nice sake selection. Sir at the counter if you can to watch the chef in action!

One of the most impressive meals I’ve ever had and I’ve dined at numerous Michelin starred restaurants. From start to finish, everything was phenomenal. The flavors were out of this world, and the service was both impeccable and genuinely kind. I had the King Set, which included a variety of delicious add ons that blew my mind from the fresh salad and rich, flavorful soup to the incredible selection of wagyu cuts. Each piece was charcoal grilled to perfection, showcasing the chef’s technique beautifully. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tokyo!

I had the pleasure of dining at this family business run by a husband and wife couple during our week in Japan. It was the best meal my partner and I had for our trip. We booked counter seats through google maps and were able to watch the chef cook the meats over a charcoal grill. We ordered the King omakase set and in every plate you can taste the quality and care. Our favorite piece was the sukiyaki wagyu which we dipped in egg. In addition, we ordered sake and sparkling wine which paired well with the meal. They also played jazz music and the ambiance felt intimate. Highly recommend checking this place out and will definitely be back next time!
Michelle — Google review
Absolutely outstanding!!! Delicious meal, wonderful ambiance and excellent friendly service. Truly faultless and simply the most delicious beef I have ever had. The chef and his wife are wonderful hosts, making you feel welcomed and sharing their passion for wagyu beef along the journey of the meal. Excellent, highly highly recommend.

We went yesterday for lunch on our final day in Japan. It was the perfect final meal in Tokyo. The food was well presented and extremely delicious. The service from the owner/chef was amazing, explaining each part of the meal well. We ordered the lunch set with a few extras, the sirloin cut and wagyu sushi were particular highlights, but everything was great. I would recommend adding the mini curry roux with your lunch to have with any remaining rice and egg. The location is very convenient, if you are in Azabudai for TeamLabs Borderless or shopping. It is also close to Roppongi and the Tokyo Tower. Family / child friendly, our daughter loved the curry and rice. Thanks for the small gift you gave her at the end of the meal too! I wish we had gone earlier in the trip, so we could have come back again! Thanks for the brilliant food and hospitality, we will recommend to any friends or family visiting Tokyo! We look forward to returning one day!

We found Arigataya through reviews and were super impressed. It is right next to the awesome TeamLabs modern art exhibition and close to Tokyo Tower. The Wagyu menu dinner was delicious, you can taste the quality of the Wagyu beef, which was incredible in texture (Wagyu sushi!) and flavor across the dishes. Nice & cosy atmosphere, we walked in without a reservation on a Wednesday night and were very happy with the kind and professional service. Very worth it ! Thank you Arigataya Team 🙏

(Translated by Google) The view was very nice, there was a feeling of openness, and the interior of the store, which was based on white, was clean and nice. However, it's a buffet in name only, and the chef leaves the restaurant as soon as the roast beef is served to the customers. Of course, you can't get refills. The mousse that was served in small portions at the salad table was also very delicious, but once I took one, it wasn't refilled and I couldn't get another. The soups and desserts are delicious and there seems to be enough of them. For main, you can choose from pasta, fish, or meat. I chose fish, which was well presented and very delicious. However, the man at the cash register on the way home was blunt and asked, ``Will there be a discount on the parking ticket?'' When I asked him, ``We don't have a parking service,'' he said gruffly. Although the people in the hall had decent customer service, I felt sick at the very end.

Scammers. This is definitely a tourist trap. We arrived and it was almost empty a dead give away for what was about to come but we still went in. Service was very bad only one person serving and it looked like it was her first day and only one person in the kitchen. We ordered two pizza's that didn't arrive at the same time so my partner was already finished eating by the time I got my pizza. The pizzas were small thin and very greasy. Then we asked for the check and we saw a price that didn't match the things that we ordered apparently our lemonade was 400 Yen( it isn't on the menu) each and 250 for a salad that we didn't ask for and a table reservation (we walked in 😂). So if you consider going here avoid it at all costs! I also don't trust most of the reviews here since they seem old and not recent.

I came here to eat the lemon cream chicken curry and it was good. First of all, when you eat the roux, it's very rich. It's made with fresh cream and butter, so there's a sour taste from the lemon, so it doesn't taste unpleasant. The chicken is grilled so it's crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. It's a very stylish curry because it has achar so you can cleanse your palate. Thank you for the delicious curry. (Translated by Google) Previously, there was only a limited lunch menu, but recently the variety has increased and the signboard displays a variety of Japanese and Western sets (including limited-time fried oysters). In October 2025, I was at a local tonkatsu restaurant and thought, "They've started serving fried oysters soon?", but I was told they hadn't started serving them yet. Fried oysters had been on my mind all morning, so I wondered what to do and remembered the fried oysters on the signboard. For me, the best fried oysters in Kanda are at a tonkatsu restaurant nearby, but this time I had no choice. I popped in without hesitation and was able to satisfy my craving for fried oysters. The fried oyster set meal is 1,400 yen and comes with three oysters by default, but you can add more for 100 yen each when ordering this menu item, so I asked for an extra one. In terms of taste, they were just average fried oysters, and the rice was a little soft in some parts, so it wasn't my favorite, but it did help get the "fried oysters" that had been stuck in my head out of my head, so that was all that was needed. When I visited about two years ago, it was a quiet lunchtime, but this time the menu had expanded and the place was bustling with customers. There were some low ratings from foreign tourists, but I don't think you need to worry about it. They're just accumulating unnecessary stress and giving low ratings because they can only communicate in English, both in their home country and abroad. It depends on the hotel's rank, but most Japanese people generally don't have enough English proficiency to communicate on the spot, and since there's no need for it, they don't receive English conversation education. I hope foreign tourists understand this before coming to Japan. Thank you for the meal today.

At EAST, you'll find a minimalist and clean atmosphere with simple wooden furniture that gives off a Muji vibe. The menu reflects this simplicity, offering a variety of healthy Japanese dishes. Their lunch specials are particularly popular, allowing patrons to refill their plates as many times as they want with no time limit for only 1,100 yen (~USD8.51). Nestled in the vibrant district of Roppongi, SAKURA ROPPONGI SPORTS & MUSIC BAR is a delightful cafe restaurant that offers an enticing buffet experience from breakfast through dinner, with a strong emphasis on Italian cuisine. Guests rave about the wood-fired pizzas, which are crafted to perfection and have quickly become a favorite among patrons since the venue's inception. The spacious interior, adorned with large windows that invite ample sunlight, creates an inviting ambiance ideal for both casual visits and larger gatherings.
My new favorite spot.

(Translated by Google) The private party at night is all-you-can-drink, the buffet is gorgeous, and the staff is great.I've visited the private party at night from time to time, but I was so busy that I didn't have time to take photos. So even though I'm here, I haven't written anything. Now, the stage is lined with pianos, drums, and other musical instruments. It seems that there are many music stages that can be rented out. There's a huge screen, the room is perfectly square, it's on the corner of a building, the windows are all over the place, and there are two private rooms, so it's super convenient! ! During Halloween, I was impressed by the staff's willingness to participate in the event, including the Halloween cloaks (from Daiso) and tattoo stickers I had brought with me. Even though the staff members were working during Halloween, it seemed like they were enjoying Halloween, which was nice. When the customers and stores worked together to run the event, the fun seemed to spread to the participants, and we received feedback from first-time participants that it was a lot of fun. I was worried because it's only a 10 minute walk from Roppongi Station, but I think they should make it seem like paradise is waiting for you just a 10 minute walk away! ! The food was luxurious, gorgeous, and had a great production effect.

It's usually a breakfast venue, but it also serves light meals and beer during the day and evening, making it a place where you can stop by even on your own. A night in Roppongi where I stayed overnight. I stopped by after a dinner party and ended up eating some ramen. The hospitality of the staff is wonderful, and the service and atmosphere are good. The price is reasonable considering the location in Roppongi and the charge included. 2024.5.16 revisited The number of staff members has increased, and the place seems to be a little more lively. Beer and appetizers after a bath at my apartment. I remembered that there was a gift from ZIMA in my room, so I took some onion rings home. The food is delicious. There are days like this when I don't go out into the streets of Roppongi. Basically a party atmosphere. I'm having trouble deciding on the menu, so I'd be grateful if there was a 5,000 yen plan for one person, assorted platter + 3 drinks.

Izakaya Tokyo Ginza is a small and intimate gem in the heart of Tokyo, offering an authentic Japanese dining experience. Despite the language barrier, the friendly bartender/cook warmly welcomes guests and provides recommendations, creating a memorable and personal touch to the dining experience. The cozy izakaya has limited seating for about 12 people and allows smoking. While there is a cover charge and commission fee, the quality of food justifies these costs, with reasonable pricing for dishes.
Everything was delicious and masterfully prepared, and the atmosphere was very clean! I was initially worried since smoking is allowed, but there was no smell at all and only a few people smoked e-cigarettes. Recommend making a reservation online before you visit!

This was the last meal of our stay in Tokyo. We wandered for a while in Ginza before finding this place. Amazing food. The noodles and steak in particular. The service was so good and the server/barkeep was very attentive. Could not recommend enough. Such a great way to end our trip. Thank you!

Located on B1, this izakaya is a whole vibe. From good food, good drinks, and kind workers, you will enjoy it. Smoking is allowed here and there is a cover fee which didn't bother us at all. My husband and I loved the comfortable vibes and great food with our drinks.

I’ve been to a few Izakaya, and in my opinion the service at this one in particular is spectacular. Very amicable, decent pricing, and if you don’t speak a lot of Japanese they try to serve you as best they can anyway. It’s a bit small (only seating about 15 people) but very clean and sanitary. Highly recommend the roasted ocha pudding, grilled mackerel, and picked vegetables.

At Chinese Restaurant Sinka Nogizaka, diners are treated to an exquisite culinary experience that beautifully blends traditional Shanghai cuisine with modern flair. The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the popular Shanghai crab tasting course, featuring drunken Shanghai crab marinated in Shaoxing wine—a dish that invites you to savor every bite. Guests can enjoy their meals in private rooms, allowing for a leisurely dining experience amidst stunning presentations like colorful appetizers filled with seasonal vegetables and rich Shanghai crab bisque.
(Translated by Google) We visited a restaurant that is perfect for entertaining or important dinners. As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted with a smile by the experienced staff, and their warm hospitality made me feel at ease. Not only the service but also the food is exquisite. The chef's meticulous attention to detail on each dish looks beautiful and tastes exceptional. In particular, every dish, from appetizers to desserts, is perfected without any compromise, and each time you taste it, you'll be moved. What I particularly liked were the course meals, which were made with plenty of seasonal ingredients, giving me a sense of luxury that could only be experienced at that time of year. Since it was a lunchtime dinner, I refrained from drinking alcohol, but there was an extensive menu of non-alcoholic drinks, and all of the drinks went perfectly with the food. In particular, the fresh juices and herbal teas complemented the flavors of the dishes and made the overall meal more satisfying. When entertaining or having a dinner, not only is the quality of the food important, but also the calm atmosphere. This restaurant has a sophisticated interior and strives for comfort. A private space is secured, so you can feel safe even when talking about important matters. Additionally, the quiet environment inside the store is ideal for discussing business matters, creating an atmosphere that naturally brings you closer to your customers. Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended for entertaining or important dinners. With heart-warming service from staff with many years of experience, cuisine prepared with the chef's special care, and a calm atmosphere, this is the perfect place to spend a special time. When you entertain your guests, you are sure to leave them satisfied. If you want to spend some special time with your loved ones, please come visit us. Recommended! Although it is Chinese food, with ingredients such as Shaoxing wine and Japanese pepper, each dish is carefully crafted by the chef and has a taste unlike anything you've ever had before. The texture and taste were well thought out, and I enjoyed eating it. The only disappointing point is that the serve is a little slow. It will take quite a while, so you should give yourself plenty of time. I'm also pretty full. The staff at the store were very polite and kind, so I was very impressed with the service.
