The Collins Quarter is a versatile establishment that combines the elements of a bar, cafe, and restaurant. It offers an array of options including espresso drinks, beer, wine, and Australian-inspired meals. The brunch menu goes beyond the usual offerings with items like brioche French toast and CQ Bubble n Squeak. The coffee selection is diverse with choices such as Iced Mint Julep and Thai Iced Coffee in addition to standard espresso drinks.
The Collins Quarter is seriously the best spot! The atmosphere is amazing and the vibe is just on point. The food is exceptional and surprisingly affordable for how good it is. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome every time. I also love the little details, like how they decorate the tables with real flowers – it makes the whole place feel extra special. Definitely one of my favorite places to go! I went here twice for my trip to Savannah as it is so good compared to other places.

The competition is fierce in Savannah for restaurants! But, I would put this restaurant up against any other. Rose, our server was a model for all. The variety of menu options set the expectation levels very high. And, they come through and knock it out of the park! I’m one that loves to try new flavours. This restaurant just piles them on. And in a way that is very balanced. Loved every bite!

Super cute spot. We wisted as a group of 6 and we were seated quickly. Service was good and fast. Food was delicious. Place is located in the bottom floor and second part in a half basement of the old buildings. It gave a great vibe. Had great decor with few long tables made of the slabs of wood. Eclectic a bit. On the list to visit again.

Wow, what an experience. The food was amazing. Be prepared: they are busy but once you get seated. They are attentive and your service is there priority, quick, accurate and attentive. I suggest if it is just you or a couple sit at the bar. I got to see them make the most amazing drinks from spicy cocktails, exotic teas, and beautiful coffee's. The employees are lovely and a delight. Sheer brilliance 🌞...soooo worth it💕🎸🎶🐝🌻

Absolutely loved dining at Collins, so much so that we came back a second time during our trip. Overall the service, atmosphere, and food were excellent. The first time we had Cooper as our waiter and he was attentive and delightful to talk with. Our second time we had Steve, it was his first night back working there after a long time and he was great as well!! Very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend their pasta or Manhattan Filet for dinner & the Dubai chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

I was excited to explore The Collins Quarter as it was one of my top food spots to try in Savannah and also came with a strong recommendation from our hotel car driver. As we pulled up, there was a couple in front of us, but otherwise no line, and we were seated quickly in an intimate corner booth. Our server came, was an absolute delight, and wealth of information about the town and menu options. My wife ordered the Avo Smash, and me the Bubbles and squeak. The Bubbles and Squeak was a curious name to me, and I was delighted at a poached egg, something simple, not experienced often. The food arrived soon as a nearby table and we were mesmerized at the presentation and size of the portions. When our food arrived, it was no different, beautifully presented in a unique and artistic way. The crunch of the potato hash, the smoothness of the cream corn, the zing of the sauces, the mellow textured yolk of the egg, and mushroom.. just all of it… melded so well together, allowing you to taste each flavor on its’ own, but a wonderful delight as one. The drip coffee, so simple, but complemented the breakfast so well, and there were many other options in the realm for others to explore too. A solid experience, and if we don’t make it back on this trip, it’s a must stop on future ones… Enjoy!

Dining with Dirk: Friday Edition. I was greeted promptly and offered a choice between indoor or outdoor seating. With the weather absolutely perfect, I chose to sit outside. While I usually go for my trusty favorite—the Avocado Smash—I decided to switch things up this time with the Open Face Tortilla, topped with a poached egg as the centerpiece. It did not disappoint. The vibrant mix of color, spice, and flavor was downright mouthwatering. Tyler, who was attentive, pleasant, and struck that perfect balance of checking in just enough. I left with good vibes all around. — drinking coffee at The Collins Quarter.

I haven’t been to the Collins Quarter since my honeymoon in 2019 (and not for lack of trying! They were so busy last time I was here), but tonight I came with my friend on a girls trip and it was delicious! We started off with Devils on Horseback which was delicious! I got the gnocchi verde and my friend the shrimp and kale salad. Everything was so good. Our waitress was also a gem!

Savannah Coffee Roasters is a charming café located in the heart of Savannah's historic district. With over a century of experience in roasting coffee beans, this century-old establishment has become one of the city's top coffee shops. In addition to its extensive selection of high-quality coffees, including lattes, americanos, and specialty drinks like the Honey Cinnamon Oat Latte and Lavender Oat Milk Latte, it also offers a delectable breakfast and brunch menu.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Savannah. Last time we visited the city, I made an effort an effort to try as many different shops as possible. This time, I visited Savannah Coffee Roasters multiple times. I had an iced almond milk latte and a half sweet iced mocha and they both tasted great. Made sure to buy a bag of beans this time around. This doesn't affect the taste of the coffee but I love the size of the shop and multiple seating options. And the ladies working were both very nice. :)
Gabrielle W — Google review
Happy to have discovered this coffeehouse just a quick walk from our hotel. Coffee had a nice flavor, especially with two extra shots. Love the set-up, great atmosphere. Enjoyed our breakfast bowls and cheese danish.
Jen S — Google review
My smoking hot date wanted a coffee + bakery combo so we fell up into Savannah Coffee Roasters. This place had the baked goods and the coffee and she approved. We had a trio of coffee selections with a hot, cold between and a Cuban coffee. Naturally, we washed it down with a slice of pavlova that was nearly the size of a barn. Lots of seating, large selection of food and bev. Service was ok, they were nice but lots of people standing around and somewhat indifferent but on the plus side, the stuff came out super quick. All in all, great visit.

Visited this coffee shop last month whist in Savannah for a few days and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee spot! There is a gorgeous mural of a beautiful tree with the famous Spanish moss on and it’s just so lovely! There were a wide range of at home coffee beans to choose from and I picked up a light roast that I have brought all the way back to England to have at home. I didn’t have any but the cakes and sweet treats looked so good! If I’m ever back in Savannah, I will definitely be returning!
Caitlin M — Google review
Great coffee spot! We got a caramel latte, a matcha latte, and a chocolate croissant - all were delicious! All of the bakery items in the case looked excellent.
Brooke L — Google review
I was randomly craving a frozen caramel frappuccino (don’t ask me why 😂), and since I’m not a local, I did what any reasonable gal would do… I Googled “best coffee places.” Not ashamed to admit it. I got a ton of results and felt a little overwhelmed, but I chose this spot based on reviews—and now here I am writing one myself. From the outside, the place looks pretty unassuming, but stepping in was a surprise. The classy industrial interior gave off a gentlemen’s lounge vibe before opening into a hidden café space with high ceilings and, in the back, a kitchen that looks like its own little house. It even has a sheet-metal roof and a big open window so you can watch your food being prepared fresh. Loved that detail. The crowd was a nice mix—felt welcoming. I didn’t grab a pastry myself, but their display was tempting. Huge portions, visually delightful, and fresh. My husband tried a chocolate croissant, and it was flaky, buttery, and honestly so good that I even stopped to ask a couple of people about their desserts (pumpkin cheesecake and pavlova) before leaving. Both said they loved theirs too! As for me, I went with the frozen caramel frappe. Heads-up: it comes with four shots of espresso by default—so if that’s too much, ask them to tone it down or remove, like moi. Even with the adjustment, it was amazing. Their coffee was aromatic, rich, and bold, yet the drink still felt light, creamy, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet or bland. No shade to Starbucks, but this had that artisan blend you just can’t get out of a box. Props to the barista, whoever you were—you nailed it. The cashier I spoke with was also really sweet and funny, which made the visit even better. I know reviews can vary, but my experience was nothing but pleasant. I’d absolutely come back—not just for the drinks, but even to grab a bag of their beans for home. Coffee like that is rare. Stay tuned for more honest reviews and little adventures with moi— yours truly, @sincerely_persephony

Come for the coffee... stay for the Pavola!!! Fabulous coffee, food, and desserts! The Honey Cinnamon Oat Latte was ine of the best coffees I’ve had, and the pavlova was so amazing we came back the next day for more. Elijah gave us wonderful, kind service that made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Savannah Coffee Roasters!
Ayesha B — Google review
Founded in 1909! Wow, this feels like a must visit and I have to say that the coffee was great! They have a very good menu and we enjoyed the quiche Lorraine (vinegar mustard dressing for the win) and Miss Lori's Pavlova (yum!). The staff was amazing and I even picked up a T-shirt. The only thing keeping me from giving them five stars is it felt a bit too commercial/ touristy. Still, check them out and enjoy an espresso cubana or Americano!

Coffee shop
The Gallery Espresso, located on Bull St., is a bohemian cafe offering a variety of coffee and light fare such as salads and pastries. The cozy space is adorned with mismatched sofas, creating a creative and eclectic atmosphere reminiscent of the 1990s. It's the oldest coffee shop in town, housed in a corner building from the 1850s facing Savannah's famous square.
Love this place. Very eclectic. Cool nooks for any mood you’re in. The tea selection is world renowned. Take a minute and walk through all the varieties, black, green, herbal and all stops in between. Find one you like, get some loose leaf to go and enjoy later. Coffee?? Oh yeah, so much to talk about here. There is a whole wall dedicated to any coffee style you have a hankering for. They know how to make an excellent dry cappuccino. The espresso they use is distinctive and not obnoxious. If you’re within 10 miles, make the trip to get your day going right.

What a cozy little spot. It's definitely popular with coffee, small eats and wine. They take your order and make your drink right away. Super friendly staff. A lot of unconventional seating with music playing.

My son and I stopped in here after checking a few different places out. We are immediately were drawn in. The coffees and bagels were delicious! The service was great!!! It reminded me of our hometown coffee shop!!

What a charming coffee spot. Loved the environment and location. Drink not quite right, but that takes time to work with a place to get it how you like it. Also had a.cream.cheeae Danish. It was light and not to sweet.
Kimberly W — Google review
Such a lovely coffee shop with unique decoration and a cozy atmosphere! The staff were really friendly, and it’s definitely a great place to sit, relax, or work for a few hours.
Samira — Google review
One of the best coffee shops in downtown Savannah. I am an antique collector myself and love that they choose older furniture and cute little knick-knacks to design their shop. Very cozy, warm, and has such a cool unique style to it. The employees are friendly, the coffee tastes great, and the food looks delicious and always fresh. Highly recommend walking in and trying something of theirs. You will be greatly impressed.
Haley H — Google review
Okay…. Wow. First timer- I haven’t even finished my coffee and pastry but I had to IMMEDIATELY come on here and rave. I opted for a to-go order but stayed long enough to enjoy the eclectic space. Atmosphere? Incredibly cozy and unique. Staff? Beyond helpful and so kind. Marissa (I hope I didn’t misspell) was absolutely phenomenal. Did not rush me, knowledgable, talked me through options/suggestions, and was so personable AND professional. I decided on a customized iced espresso latte- lavender and white chocolate and I am blown away. The espresso flavor is so rich and the flavors meld perfectly. I got my significant other the Maloney’s Cappuccino (real Irish cream!!!) with espresso and Marissa suggested adding the cold foam, and I upgraded to the caramel cold foam and he was OBSESSED! Now onto pastries: I don’t know what kind of black magic is used to concoct these delicacies, but I am hooked. I spotted a berry-custard cinnamon-roll looking item and couldn’t resist, and I am so glad I didn’t. Literally one of the most delicious baked goods I’ve ever tasted. I got my boyfriend the jalapeño cornbread, and he also loved it. I recommend both warmed, but they’re educated enough to suggest that before I even had the thought. Truly such a warm, welcoming spot. If you’ve read this far- I apologize for the in depth rambling analysis, but I rarely remember to do reviews and I had to stop mid- eating and give this establishment its dues. I easily see why they’re the longest-standing cafe in Savannah. Reasonably priced, and even if it wasn’t, it’d be 100% worth it. I will be back :) PS- I attached a photo of homemade cannolis that were nearly as big as my wrist. Unfortunately didn’t get the chance to taste-test but they still deserve their spotlight.
Megan B — Google review
The Gallery Espresso – Savannah The Gallery Espresso is a truly unique spot with an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by warmth, charm, and a sense of timelessness. The eclectic furniture—plush armchairs, cozy sofas, and vintage tables—makes it feel like you’ve stepped into a living room that belongs in a classic novel. Every piece has character, adding to the café’s charm and inviting you to linger. They offer an incredible selection of coffees and teas, but the star of the show is their unforgettable lemon pie—worth every bite. It’s the kind of place that cools you off on a hot summer day and wraps you in comfort during the winter chill. Sitting there feels like stepping onto a movie set; in fact, it would be the perfect backdrop for a romantic film with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, something straight out of Sleepless in Seattle. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Savannah, this café is a must-visit for anyone who loves great coffee, cozy vibes, and a touch of cinematic magic.

Leopold's Ice Cream is a beloved ice cream parlor that has been a staple for over 100 years. Founded by three Greek brothers, the shop is now run by their descendants and continues to draw long lines of eager customers. The parlor offers a variety of classic and seasonal flavors, including the original 1919 Tutti Fruitti rum ice cream with candied fruit and Georgia pecans.
You guys truly hit the sweet spot for our family! My kids absolutely loved their visit, and it's easy to see why this place is a local gem. The first thing that impressed us was the fantastic variety on their menu. From classic scoops to creative concoctions, there's a flavor and a treat to please every member of the family, no matter how picky their ice cream preferences might be. My personal highlight, however, was the hot fudge sundae. It was genuinely "out of this world" – the rich, warm fudge paired perfectly with the creamy ice cream, creating an indulgent and unforgettable dessert. It's the kind of sundae that makes you want to come back for more. Beyond the delicious ice cream, the atmosphere was welcoming and kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for a treat after school or on a weekend outing. If you're in the area and looking for high-quality ice cream with plenty of choices and a truly exceptional hot fudge sundae, Leopard's Ice Cream is a must-visit!
Murali N — Google review
I will be the first to acknowledge that I am fluent in hyperbole, but Leopold's is legitimately the best ice cream I've had in my 29 years and 223 days on planet Earth. We were finishing off a couple martinis and quickly google searched "ice cream near me," and I nearly choked on an oyster when Leopold's popped up with 4.7 stars on 13,505 google reviews. Those numbers are UNPRECEDENTED... 2006 Kobe Bryant numbers. 2012 Calvin Johnson numbers. We made the short walk over on a blessed Sunday afternoon and were met with no line. I taste tested 4 different flavors, and the staff was so helpful in recommending, and more importantly, not recommending things based on my pallet. I can't remember the exact flavors I got, and for that I am sorry my dear reader. I have failed you. 1 scoop was their variation of cookies and cream, and the other was some peanut butter cookie kind of flavor that was blessed by the hand of Zeus himself. This was the perfect ice cream. It was so good that my girlfriend and I were on facetime the other night trying to see if they ship nationally, which they do but you need to buy 5 pints. Worth it tbh. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__ Substack @johnnynovo

I always enjoy going to this old fashion cream parlor. I always meet people in the line visiting Savannah from different places. The staff is always nice. The ice cream is great. I always like getting the rum bisque. There is an area where you can sit down and enjoy your ice cream. They offer a variety of flavors. There is always seasonal flavors. They always have a line for this place. I drive over an hour to get ice cream here. Some things are just worth it. The brownie sundae is one of them. .
Sheila R — Google review
So nice! Ice Cream is top tier and the employees are so nice and patient. Prices are fair and the wait time is minimal on the weekends. Grab your ice cream and wonder through the shops in the surround areas.
David I — Google review
Delicious. We had the two scoop brownie sundae and single scoop with toppings. It was great. We paid $16. When we go to an ice cream shop down by our home in South Florida the prices would’ve been double. Free water. Bathrooms were clean. Great atmosphere and everyone is so friendly.
Brian C — Google review
As a self proclaimed ice cream connoisseur, I can absolutely say this lives up to the hype. I came back two days in a row and the child size cup was perfect. Highly recommend the German chocolate and peanut butter chip flavors. And they will let you taste a bunch of flavors too and still manage to keep the line moving fast!
Lauren — Google review
I admit I am not huge ice cream fan. I can usually take it or leave it. But I had heard of this place and it was a stop on a hop on hop off tour I was on so I had to stop by. It was hands down the best ice cream I have ever had! I got the kiddy size Lemon Custard and it was so creamy and lemony but not over powering. 10/10 recommend if you are in the area!
Michelle N — Google review
Leopold's is obviously well know in Savannah and one of those places everybody says you have to visit. I'd heard that before I got to Savannah and the trolley driver suggested it again. So I got the flavor she suggested, honey almond and cream; I also got a scoop of coffee to go with it. So, did it live up to the hype? Yes - I finished my 2 scoops, walked out the door, and got back in line for more ice cream. I got a single scoop of peach since it was a summer flavor. It was great and I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any flavor. The inside has a retro feel and lots of movie posters for decor. I wasn't familiar with the Leopold's history so reading about the owners and realizing he'd had a hand in all of the movies posted throughout. When in Savannah, this is a must visit.

Nestled in the heart of Savannah, Goose Feathers Cafe & Bakery is a vibrant spot that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 1986. This bustling cafe offers an all-day breakfast menu featuring everything from freshly baked bagels and Belgian waffles to hearty egg dishes and comforting oatmeal. The onsite bakery is a treasure trove of made-from-scratch delights, including flaky croissants, delectable pastries, and their famous whoopie pies.
We came here for a quick breakfast. Here’s what I thought. Atmosphere: The cafe is simply decorated. It was indoor and some outdoor seating. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The place was super clean! Service: Everyone we encountered was super friendly! Our food came out fast. Food: I tried their ‘Egg Croissant’ and really enjoyed it. My husband had their ‘Breakfast Burrito’ and said he really liked it. I had a decaf latte and my husband had a cappuccino. We both enjoyed our coffees. The prices here are very reasonable! Overall, this is a great place for an affordable, fresh, and delicious breakfast.
Regina S — Google review
After seeing the high star reviews, this wasn’t quite what we’d expected. I want to say at onset that my 3 star service review was because of the inefficiency of the service, not the friendliness of the staff. Staff members were kind and friendly. But they were functioning in a less than ideal setup. The line out the door is deceiving. There’s only one person taking orders at a time, which wasn’t terribly efficient. There were two staff members with screens in front of them but one was to order and one was to pay. The long line created crowd problems as people had to shift to allow other patrons to exit or to allow waitstaff through. Seating is first come, first serve AFTER you place your order, so it’s a little stressful, imagining you may be standing around with your tray of food and no place to sit. Stalking other people while they eat to see who looks like they’ll be finishing soon, and worrying about the people in front of you nabbing the table first…not my personal favorite. Glad we weren’t there with our kids. My husband’s food came out and we sat for a full five minutes before mine came out. After a couple minutes, I insisted he start eating so his food didn’t get cold. The coffee was just okay, unfortunately. Our side of potatoes had a nice flavor but didn’t have that great textural crisp to them, and the portion was small considering it was a side we had to pay extra for. My husband got the burrito, which clearly had to be eaten with fork and knife since it’s covered in salsa, but the plate was so small, it was awkward to cut into it without food falling off the plate. He asked for a larger plate, but they didn’t have any. His burrito was decent, but lacked a cohesive element tying the flavors together. My panini was yum. I really liked the balsamic which was soaked up into the top piece of bread. Perfect amount. Was pleasantly surprised at how well the salami worked with it too. I’m rooting for you all, and hope these impressions from average patrons are helpful.

Definitely a hidden gem on this little corner breakfast cafe in the Heart of Savannah! First time and first of all the Carmel Pecan coffee was the Kickstarter for an awesome breakfast experience! Everything was delicious from the spinach and feta quiche(mine had salmon on it also)to the choices of breakfast sandwiches to the Greek yogurt with honey was so amazingly fresh and zesty. The service was quick and friendly plus refills on the coffee of the day plus being clean and quant. We had so much fun along with great food and abundance of smiles from the excellent staff .

Monster in my Meal: Great food and atmosphere. Tasty desserts available. Counter service and sit down, outdoor dining available. Had the breakfast burrito, the birds nest, cappuccino, and a peach pie bar. Friendly staff, family friendly dining. There maybe a monster in my meal!

Disappointing. This place was recommended and the pictures looked great.. can't give it more than two stars. I WANTED to give it 3.... But the cons outweigh the pros for the price Brunch 1:00 Wednesday afternoon for $35 Pros: The coffee was hot and flavorful:We ordered a 8-oz mocha and a 16 oz latte brevve. However it's the smallest 16 oz coffee I've ever had and I asked for it heavy / wet it came light and foamy---As a former coffee shop owner, it drives me nuts when you order a LATTE and you end up with basically a cappuccino: lots of foam and very little coffee.. BUT The flavor was good.( Seemingly great coffee everywhere here in Savannah.) Atmosphere was nice, and food came quickly after being ordered. CONS Servers seemed lackadaisical and desoultory. Even though brunch was served till 2:30 and the place was empty I really got the feeling that they would rather we weren't there.. The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was congealed. See photo. Looks like it had been sitting in the pot all morning and was barely stirred before lumping it out on the plate. My "eggs in a nest"--two poached eggs with grits and Vermont cheddar cheese, was uninspired. Not much flavor in the grits even after a good shake of salt and pepper. It looked like it had been plated in a rush and without care. And they forgot the salsa I asked for on the side. Had to remind the server. And it was strange It looked like somebody had already broken an egg yolk onto the grits while also putting two whole poached eggs on it. Just odd. When the server brought our plates, she said didn't know what eggs benedict was.....😳🙄 poor training on the management part Altogether this is not worth the money we spent... I could have spent less and eaten at Starbucks and had a better experience. The plates looked thrown together in a hurry, without care and not appetizing at all. Maybe everyone was just having an off day and they do better when there's a crowd early on.. But I wouldn't come back. So sad. Great location and nice environment but.. . The food leaves a lot to be desired.

As we approached a very nice gentleman opened the door and greeted us. We went to the counter and ordered 2 Breves, we did not order any pastries, but they looked delicious. We sat inside and enjoyed our drinks and the atmosphere was welcoming. The attendant kept the tables clean and clear without being obtrusive. Definitely a nice stop for a coffee and treat.

This place was recommended to us so I was shocked to walk away so disappointed. I ordered the egg sandwich. There didnt seem to be any cheese on my sandwich but the worst part was the eggs. I told my friends these for sure had to come from a carton. No way theyre fresh eggs. After going back and reading reviews I see many others with the same opinion. They claim they're real but I do not see how and if they are they have to be carton eggs. They're tasteless rubber. If they are real, with so many of these same comments, its a bit concerning they haven't fixed whatever is wrong here. The staff was def very friendly so no issues there but it is a bit wild they ask for a tip thrn tell you where you can go to get your own water cup and utensils. Now to be fair, the one person who got a waffle instead of full breakfast loved it. I tried it too and it was a great waffle. So id say stick with the pasties and house made items if you do decide to go.
Heather — Google review
Ask for tip at order point, yet you get to do everything yourself including your own silverware, taking drinks in try to table after order etc. They forgot the cream cheese on a bagel when we asked for the egg on the side. Told us to go to register and ask for cream cheese ourselves instead of making it right and bringing it to us(who are with small kids being kids so no empathy). Tables are only alotted after you order(again issue with kids). All food is no better than any simple diner. Maybe 1 item is great the rest is reheat and serve quality. Cost me $60 plus mental sanity. Avoid this place.

The hospitable staff ensures a delightful experience for friends, family, and colleagues to gather and enjoy a memorable meal. The inviting atmosphere and attentive service make it an ideal place for leisurely dining and relaxation.
B. Matthew’s did NOT disappoint! The biscuits were warm, fluffy, and the perfect start. I ordered the catch of the day (halibut) which was fresh and beautifully seasoned, alongside the seasonal risotto topped with a Cajun chicken breast. ALL absolutely top tier. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and every bite felt thoughtfully prepared. Between the welcoming service and incredible food, this is a must-visit spot in Savannah!

We had a very nice brunch here. The atmosphere was very inviting. The food was really tasty too. We had the blueberry biscuits appetizer - they melted in your mouth and were quite yummy. Drinks were also quite tasty. The Gas-lit Mary that I even liked and I don't like bloody Mary's, and a Rochester Coffee ... very delicious. Our entree was the Chicken 'N Biscuit with eggs and grits - yum! Very nice time with great food, drinks and service.

This was a delicious stop for a late lunch in Savannah. We weren't feeling overly hungry, but we knew we needed to eat something, so we ordered off their starter menu. We had sangria, fried green tomatoes, orange blueberry biscuits, and the cheese plate. We were hungrier than we thought because we devoured every bite.

I had such a great experience at B. Matthew’s Eatery! I ordered the shrimp and grits with collard greens and tomatoes, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and so comforting. The real standout was the blueberry biscuit with orange glaze—sweet, bright, and one of the best treats I’ve had in a while. Even the coffee was smooth and rich, and I have to say, they take care with the small things too—the water was crisp and refreshing. Fun fact 🤔🤔 1) It’s housed in a beautifully restored late 1700’s building that is said to have once been one of Savannah’s earliest taverns. 2) In the basement, there are stories of iron rings attached to the walls and a long-sealed tunnel that may have once led to the Savannah River.

B. Matthew’s Eatery was fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, attentive service. Everything we ordered came out perfectly — you can really tell they care about quality. A definite must-visit when in Savannah!

Enjoyed my brunch experience here! The food was very fresh and the portion was perfect. I did ask for a substitute (fruit instead of potatoes) and unfortunately it didn’t come out that way so I needed to wait for them to remake it. That aside, I would recommend this as a spot to try if you’re looking for something with healthier options as well.

Very nice bartender. The fried chicken and biscuit were fantastic - flavorful, fresh and hot. The chicken was perfectly tender, the breakfast potatoes lightly crispy. The gravy was thick but not overly so. The mimosa was strong, $10. I was served instantly - shockingly fast, within 5 mins of ordering. Highly recommended.

Cafe
Gryphon is an American cafe located within the 1926 Scottish Rite building on Madison Square. The tea room, owned by the Savannah College of Art and Design, pays homage to its origins as an apothecary with mahogany bookshelves, stained glass, and upholstered seating. Visitors can enjoy an elegant afternoon tea experience with petit fours, finger sandwiches, and scones served by knowledgeable servers who share the building's architectural history.
We had an enchanting experience at the Gryphon Tea Room. We came here with our mothers! Our server (a SCAD student) was passionate about the history of the building which inspired and intrigued us to learn more about this beautifully restored 1920s pharmacy. Our server legitimately cared about us enjoying a memorable experience.  The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I deeply appreciated the Southern charm with stunning detailed stained-glass windows, full bookshelves, and a an AUTHENTIC high tea experience! This included warm delicious scones with homemade cream, made to traditional tea perfection cucumber sandwiches, and a variety of high quality pastries. The tea selection is quite comprehensive. We enjoyed many flavors including flutterfly bush tea with lavender, vanilla, peach and traditional earl grey were  among our selections. All of these tea flavors were phenomenal.  This is a great experience for traditional tea or for lunch,  and a must when in Savannah!

Visited several times in Fall 2025. This is a really cool brunch spot! We’ve done afternoon tea before that was pleasant, but brunch is where it’s at. Service is great, atmosphere is relaxed and has some fun history around the location. Their Crème Brûlée French toast is currently the best French toast in Savannah. Great tea options, good quiche too. Will absolutely be visiting again.

Delightful light lunch spot in historic former apothecary on Bull St. Excellent service complete with a history lesson about the building! I had the chevre salad, my husband had the sesame tuna salad ( generous servings!) , and we had the scones of the day. I’d like to go back to try the afternoon tea!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at the Gryphon Tea Room in Savannah, GA! Housed in a beautifully restored 1920s pharmacy, the ambiance is pure Southern charm with stunning stained-glass windows, mahogany bookshelves, and a cozy, vintage vibe. The high tea service was impeccable—warm orange blossom scones with mock Devonshire cream, melt-in-your-mouth cucumber sandwiches, and an array of decadent pastries that were as delicious as they were beautiful. The tea selection, featuring Harney & Sons, was delightful, with our server offering thoughtful recommendations. Speaking of service, the SCAD students who run the place were attentive, friendly, and added a unique, youthful energy. It’s clear they take pride in creating a memorable experience. Whether you’re a tea lover or just looking for a special lunch spot, Gryphon is a must-visit gem in Savannah’s historic district! I can’t wait to return.

My experience here was fantastic. I enjoyed a lovely brunch experience outside. My server was a complete sweetheart who provided a great story about the history of the restaurant. If in Savnnah I'd definitely recommend this place! The tea and desserts were sooo good!

I would be lying if I said I didn’t dream about the experience here the night after. The food was heavenly and the tea brewed perfectly. The atmosphere and history of the place felt like you were stepping back in time. The large doors were wide open, while horse drawn carriages passed by from time to time, as I sipped my tea and read from the many books lining their mahogany shelves walls. If you are looking for an amazing date idea to surprise your loved ones, this is the #1 spot to go!

Popped in for a small bite. I ordered french toast (absolutely delicious) while my wife had soup of the day (roasted buttermilk squash) and chef's mix tea sandwiches. Also very good.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip. Griffin tea room was adorably historically maintained, including stained glass from the original pharmacy that the building was at one point. The server was very polite, the tea was delicious, we ordered three different types. Little desserts were all delicious, and the lunch was fabulous although very carb heavy. Great presentation, excellent atmosphere, would definitely come back. Highly recommend making a reservation

Café M is a charming bistro located on Bay Street, offering a taste of Paris in Savannah's Historic Downtown District. The café serves up authentic French pastries, quiches, salads, and baguette sandwiches. Their unique brunch options include Parisian Brunch, Healthy Brunch, and American Brunch with a variety of delicious choices. The café's quaint French decor and traditional sounds create an ambiance reminiscent of Paris.
Cozy, quaint, quality and comfort in a historic building near the river. Delicious food, pastries and coffee made fresh. Excellent customer service. This was the perfect first stop in Savannah after our time on the highway. Perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat and settle into the new surroundings of the historic district.

Cute little French style cafe. Had breakfast here. The coffee was excellent and unique. A Dubai chocolate matcha with pistachio chocolate and kalifi topping. Very nice flavor and well balanced. The croissant breakfast sand which was perfect. Fluffy warm flaky bread, perfectly cooked eggs and melty cheese. I had ham on it too. Had a great breakfast and wasn’t too big. Would come back again and recommend!

The food was good and staff was very sweet and polite… but the wait, oof. The quality of the bread and ingredients on the sandwiches was very good, and they did warn us it would take a while, but it was a solid half hour from order to service made for a long morning before getting out and about. It is a nice cafe, but not a grab and go place. Espresso was average and room temperature by the time it arrived.

We ordered from uber eats. I ordered the salmon quiche which was good. Nice portion size and rich. I also ordered the fruit croissant which was very good. My stepsons ordered sandwiches which they said were good, although one was light on the meat and they both arrived pretty messed up (although I blame uber eats for that part). My son said his breakfast sandwich was good. Overall, a good meal and I would order from here again.

Absolutely delicious and healthy, and such a fresh salad! All salad dressing are made in house by the chef. I also had a season special blueberry Merlot spritzer, which I was delish! Would high recommend for anyone looking for lunch! Got the salmon and tzatziki salad with Italian dressing and it was phenomenal.

This restaurant was highly recommend by the Internet travel reviewing crowd. I highly recommend too. Things to know, though. The space is cute and quaint but very small. You order at the counter and find a table on a first come/first served. There are maybe 8 to 10 very small tables inside and a few umbrella tables outside. There is even a sign that says that patience is appreciated since food is made to order and if you don’t want to wait, they’ll recommend another place (in a cute poem, of course. Pic shared). That said, we found a table quickly and the service was great. Brunch was delicious…especially the salmon with the baguette and salmon. Breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon was so good. Cappuccino was delish. Highly recommend!

Dining with Dirk: Sunday Edition — Café M Stopped in for brunch at Café M and tried their all-new croissant club with turkey and Swiss. I swapped the chips for a fruit cup. The sandwich comes cold, but I highly recommend asking for it toasted—the warm Swiss with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes was absolutely delicious. I had my eye on the bottomless mimosas or a fall cocktail, but alcohol sales don’t start until 11 a.m., so maybe next time. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry—the food is made to order, and there’s literally a sign saying so. Worth the wait though. The staff were friendly and polite, and the space was cozy and pleasant to sit in. As I was leaving, the owner Christine thanked me for the pop in visit and mentioned locals get a discount. Go, enjoy, relax, and sip the coffee.

Foxy Loxy Cafe is a trendy coffee shop in downtown Savannah, offering Tex-Mex cuisine, beer, and wine. It's known for its extensive vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu options, making it a popular spot for those with dietary preferences. The cafe is housed in a beautifully-restored Victorian mansion and serves as a community hub, featuring art displays and live music events.
Loved this little gem! Such a cute funky coffee shop bit more than that -great amazing laid back atmosphere with a wonderful back courtyard with lots of funky decor. They have great daily specials listed in a creative giant wall calendar. They have books you can read, games you can play and a few sitting areas. We got there late around 830 when they closed at 9 and they were so welcoming and didn’t make us feel like they were kicking us out at 9. My daughter and I got tacos one with chicken and one with Korean bbq and they were both delicious! Don’t miss this funky unique spot for coffee tacos and more (photos are all of courtyard)

Foxy Alexia is so much fun! It looks like a tiny place when you first walk in, but it browse toward the back and has a great courtyard to sit and have your morning coffee and breakfast. Or an evening happy hour for that matter. Highly recommended.

Very interesting atmosphere, they have lots of seating inside, upstairs and outside. We sat ourselves, and food was brought over to us. Food was good, got the guacamole and the breakfast burritos, prices weren’t bad for the burrito but the guacamole could’ve been cheaper as it’s a super small portion. Very aesthetic atmosphere.
Aria M — Google review
To start, the staff at this place is very unprofessional. I’m a vegetarian and ordered two vegetarian burritos (foxy scramble). After one bite, we realized they were sausage (sausage scramble burrito). When my wife told the barista, she got defensive and said, “well that’s all we got,” then snatched the plate and said, “the cashier misheard you but we can’t make them for you because it takes hours to make. It’s refunded back to your card.” The whole thing felt careless, like the staff was overworked and not paying attention to customers’ health or orders. This could have gone really bad if either of us was allergic. As a tourist, this was a huge letdown. I wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely won’t be back. **EDIT** I went to look at all of the lower reviews, and they all mention the barista and her bad attitude and rudeness. This is a clear indication that management is not looking at the customer reviews or how people feel. This place needs a revamped staff.

Super cute cafe! Delish matcha drink! I’m out of town, but this cafe looks like a local hidden gem! Located next to the Gingerbread House and pretty awesome Book Store!
Katya K — Google review
Location is cool, but that was the only thing I liked about the place. They had zero syrup flavor options for lattes, so you can’t even order a basic drink like a vanilla latte. They also don’t customize drinks beyond milk type. I asked if I could get the horchata without cinnamon, and they said it was already mixed in. I asked if instead of a vanilla lavender matcha latte, I could have the vanilla lavender in a regular latte. Same response about how it is already mixed in. So I settled on the Mexican Mocha and it was spicy!! It has habanero in it. I couldn’t take more than a couple sips. I don’t plan on coming back

Very nice, cozy coffee place with a Texas vibe. Coming from Houston, to see Kolaches and Texas trinkets in the shop was very cool! Cold brew was super strong and flavorful, it didn’t need sweetener or cream. The Mexican mocha was perfectly sweet and spicy. The kolaches were honestly some of the best I’ve had, Texas or not. Will absolutely come back!

During our holiday in Savannah a while back, we visited a coffee shop that was recommended to us by a friend. We were impressed with the quality of coffee and zucchini bread offered at this establishment, which were very tasty. The courtyard seating area provided a relaxing ambiance, where we enjoyed catching up with friends. We plan to return to this coffee shop in the future, as we would like to try their Tex-Mex dishes, which we heard are also very good.

Alligator Soul Restaurant is a charming Southern eatery situated in a former grain warehouse below the town's post office. The restaurant prides itself on using organic and locally sourced ingredients to create a fusion of Creole-Southern cuisine with global influences.
It's not very often I give a restaurant a solid 5... But this was really an excellent experience. Stopped in Savannah just for one night and found this on Google maps - the reviews seem to indicate it was something special and I'm delighted that it was so good. The sweet crispy alligator bites were exceptional... I would really recommend getting the appetizer platter for a selection of lots of different tastes. We enjoyed the mac and cheese and elk with duck fried potato chips (or French fries as you Americans say). They were one of the crispiest and best tasting things I've put in my mouth. No rude puns intended. Finish off with an espresso Martini you won't be disappointed. The service was just the right side of attentiveness without being too intrusive. Excellent !!! 👍

I'm an older gentleman, and I've eaten at 1000s of restaurants... This is a top 5 all time. I will come back to Savannah just to eat here again. This was just an exceptional experience from top to bottom. From the moment we were greeted, to another rando employee appearing to open the door for us when we left, we were well taken care of. Service, impeccable (Thank you, Paige!). Food extraordinary! Atmosphere, exceptional A most memorable evening. If you held me at gunpoint, and forced me to say something negative, I don't think I could.

Great restaurant with the option to try upscale fare you might not be able to find elsewhere! They had elk and wild boar that I will definitely be trying next time. I ended up having the Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned, the Oysters A La Soul, and a Seared Red Fish on Rice with Asparagus. They do have specials and the waiter helpfully lists the price of them so you don't have to worry about appearing cheap if you ask. It's a romantic space in a basement like grotto. The stairs are kind of steep to get down to the entrance, so just be careful. The atmosphere is cozy and feels luxurious. It's definitely not an everyday option but perfect for an anniversary or birthday. I spent close to $100 on a cocktail, appetizer, and entree, just myself. Make sure you get reservations! I got mine a month out but they do fill up fast and I didn't see anything opening up in the weeks leading up.

Another winner in Savannah. Great ambience and service was professional and excellent. Make a reservation. The restaurant is located down some stairs in an old underground space. The chef is very talented and uses a lot of game in the recipes along with traditional soul food recipes.

I have nothing bad to say about this place it was a 10/10. We came early prior to our reservation and sat at the bar while our table got ready. The bartenders were super attentive & recommended me a drink based on what I told them I liked because I didn't know what most of the cocktails were. The Hurricane soul was a 10/10. When our table was ready the hostess came and got us from the bar and led us to our table. We were greeted with a very sweet card congratulating us on our anniversary on our table. Our server Angel was very knowledgeable and was very attentive when we were seated & checked in with us at all the perfect times. We ordered our appetizers. We each got one because we wanted different things (also the photos people posted online made the dishes look small). I ordered the bone marrow was out of this world mushrooms mmmhm. I heard they grow some there. It was amazing my husband ordered the alligator he said it was good. He first brought us a bite of a stuffed pepper that was amazing!!! Then they brought focaccia bread for both us with devine garlic butter & the bread felt freshly baked. We then ordered our main meal, I ordered the Deviled Crab and took a few bites and was stuffed by all the previous things I aite. My husband ordered the duck and said is was really good quarter legs (no breast meat). Good portion. (Husband also got the Mac and cheese but didn't make it to it, was to go). I asked our waiter for a to go box and they boxed them up. 10/10 place. This isn't a chain restaurant so don't expect to have your order out in a few mins. Don't go in hangry. They put lots of love in each dish and it shows & it's worth the wait & there is a wait. Truly go for the love of food and atmosphere. I truly felt like the staff took pride in thier work from host, bartenders, and the chefs & waiter ♥️ The care to details goes a long way starting from the moment you open the door and walk in. This place is it. I also thought they had my cutlery 🤣😆 Close. Same steel but different brand. Anyways good stuff. Quality 🤌🏻 Tips- -Make a reservation. -Don't show up starving expecting food orders thrown out in a few mins. This place brings the dishes out with love and care and it shows ♥️ -There is paid parking around this block & download the park savannah app to pay to park or use the machines on the corners. Also there is a parking garage on Whittaker St. -They are sweet to ask everyone if there is an allergy to somthing. We don't but thought it was very thoughtful. This place is it!! It isn't a slam your order out, but a very upscale place. Also I was planing and dressing way up but it was raining cats n dogs the whole day and wore a cute top and jeans & was still treated with the utmost respect. But this place is more of a dress 👗 & heels place if weather permits. The hostess looked better than me xoxo

My husband and I travel often and our favorite thing to do is eat and drink through our trips. Let me tell you, Alligator soul is one of our favorite culinary experiences of any trip so far! We dined with our 9 month old, which at first felt a little intimidating since the restaurant is so nice and chill but it went so well! We were sat in a nice quiet corner, the decor and ambiance is very cool and calming. The host and our waitress were very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. Our waitress was enthusiastic and passionate about the food, which is so good for them but also made us so excited to try things we may not have. The meal started with a complimentary stuffed pepedew pepper to awaken are pallets and it was soo delicious! The homemade bread and butter was even unique and special. We ordered the crispy alligator appetizer, being from Florida we’ve had quite a bit of fried gator but this was THE BEST gator ever!! Alligator Soul definitely lives up to the name! We both ordered specials for our dinner entrees, my husband got the fish special and it was Covina that night and I got the game special which was Elk. It was all AMAZING! The sides and the sauces in everything were so complimentary and perfect. These meals were so well rounded in flavor, hitting every tastebud. We were truly impressed! The wine and beer was also just what we needed to complete the meals and the experience. We won’t stop talking about this place for awhile! Definitely make a reservation here for your next trip or special occasion, worth every penny!

My partner and I were just passing through Savannah for one day, trying as many different places as we could. We made reservations for Alligator Soul and were concerned that all we could consume at this point in the day was appetizers and drinks. The server was very understanding and accommodating. We ordered the Crispy Alligator, Crispy Squash Blossoms, and the Oysters A La Soul. My favorite were the blossoms though, everything was delicious. The ambience is perfect for a romantic dinner or just a private event. The food was fantastic and just as described. Harley, our server was attentive and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a foodie experience with ambience and an elegant dinner.

British restaurant
The Little Crown by Pie Society is a charming British-style pub in Savannah that offers a unique experience with its assortment of meat pies, dessert pies, and savory pastries. Embracing the essence of British culinary traditions, this establishment has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. From classic steak and mushroom pie to delectable chicken curry pastries and sausage rolls, the menu boasts an array of crowd-pleasing options.
Very cute hole in the wall bar and bakery with tasty English style pies (savory and sweet) along with an excellent cocktail selection, including a ridiculous amount of different gins for such a small establishment. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return for more pie.

Came in on a rainey monday, the bartender whipped up a really tasty whiskey sour and we talked about recommendations on thrifting and different dinner spots. The bartender who extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I ended up getting a sausage roll and it was really tasty. The bar is small maybe 6 people total. Its located in a market in downtown next to so much. They had so many pastries as well and I'd would deff come back for one their yummy looking pies.

Cute pub. Excellent key lime pie and steak & potato pie. The pecan pie is just okay though. We went 4 times in 3 days. 3 of those times I had to hear the staff talking about their tips and who tipped what, which felt icky, and once they said they prefer it with no customers because it’s peaceful. Also, my last time, even though every seat was empty and I spent $40 on pie, I was directed to sit in the overflow seating because I didn’t buy alcohol. It felt rude. Customer service is clearly unimportant.

The food here is pretty good. We got a chicken pot pie and enjoyed it. The reason I give it 3 stars because there's an air conditioned section, and a non air conditioned section. After spending $15 for a pie while looking for a place to cool off, we were told that the owner doesn't allow people to sit in the air conditioning unless they buy alcohol. The air conditioned section was completely empty but we still had to sit in the heat.

This is a cute little pub in the Savannah City Market serving delicious British pies, pasties, rolls, and desserts. All of the items on their website aren't baked and available in the pub everyday because there's only so much room in the cases, but even if the one you were eyeing online isn't there in person, there are enough other tasty options for you to find one to make you happy. Ivory was manning the counter and was so friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My husband and I went a little crazy and ordered enough for 4 people (hey, if you're in Savannah for a limited time and are foodies with a list of eateries to visit, you make your order count! LOL). We tucked ourselves at a table in one of the snugs found by passing through the door/hall at the end of the register counter and Ivory checked in on us periodically, seeing how we were managing our buffet of food. The Chicken Curry Pie and Steak & Mushroom Pie were filled to the brim with tender meat and sauce. The Sausage Roll and Cheese/Onion/Potato Pasty had such flaky pastry and were stuffed full of filling. And the desserts were amazing: I'm a sucker for a Custard Tart and theirs was scrumptious (had me craving a cup of tea); I'd never had Banoffee Pie before and theirs made me a fan (think toffee and bananas with caramel - decadent!); and the Cherry Bakewell Tart was my husband's favorite. If we lived in Savannah, we would be eating here at least once a week.

Found this spot by chance while on the trolley tour, either stop #10 or #2. We also came after grabbing a slice at Vinnie Van Go Go, so I was still pretty full. Had I seen this spot first, I definitely would’ve gone for the shepherd’s pie and a lot more... maybe even a drink! The bar had a relaxed, easy England vibe, which I loved. Service great! Of course, we had to try something even though I was stuffed. We ended up getting the breakfast sausage roll

We had a pastry, sausage roll, and a pie: all of them had the flakiest crust. So yummy! Very nice British pub setup

The Ordinary Pub, nestled in a basement on Broughton Street in Savannah, offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with its exposed-brick walls. The menu goes beyond typical pub fare, featuring creative dishes like Pork Belly Donut Sliders and Loaded Fritter Tots. From Gumbo to Stone Ground Grits and even brunch options like the Brunner Bowl, there's something for everyone.
My first time at The Ordinary Pub and also my first time having bison. The bison seemed bland, having more emphasis on the fried breading and not spiced much at all. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were very delicious. My date had the fried green tomatoes sliders appetizer as her meal which was more that sufficient and said was very delicious. The service was continuously attentive and friendly, definitely worth a repeat visit. The atmosphere had a good crowd. The music was a bit loud where we were but that was because we were next to the speaker. Overall a very good experience and will try many other dishes here.

Pretty dope underground spot in Historic Downtown Savannah. They had a sign outside the entrance saying “$15 bottomless mimosas,” and that was the hook that pulled us in. The catch is that you have to order an entree in order to get the deal, so please be aware. The food was pretty good overall. We tried the Chicken & Waffle Gyro, with loaded grits, along with the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and cornbread. All of it was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned, and the loaded grits with cheese, bacon bits, scallions, and the whipped marscapone was fire 🔥 The cornbread tasted sweet and homemade, which I loved, and they give you two pieces. The prices are moderately high, but expected for the area. Stop by if you’re around town, you wont be disappointed.

Great brunch spot! Our server was awesome. The food and drinks were amazing! We had a big party celebrating a birthday and everyone loved their food. I particularly enjoyed the Chorizo Brunch skillet. The pork belly sliders were phenomenal and everyone loved them. Two people got the Pub Club and they both said it was the best club they’d ever had. The steak, eggs and grits were also top notch!

Worst burger I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like someone took already cooked burger patties and then mushed them together and set it on top of stale angel food cake. Sorry not sorry. When you charge $25 for a burger you need to deliver. The Brussels were drenched in some weird syrup. The cheese on the pub fries was like a watered down flavorless paste of some sort. This place is constantly recommended on Facebook groups and I’ve been dying to go, but I cannot in good conscience recommend it. Even if the food was good, it was extremely hot inside and made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.
Theresa L — Google review
This place was a vibe! As you walk down the stairs, the pub vibe hits you! We didn't wait long for our seats on the Sunday we visited. We were looking for a local spot to eat, and when we walked up, the bottomless mimosas sign roped us right in. We started our meal off with the loaded fries and we were nearly licking the bowl. The cheese sauce was phenomenal. As we enjoyed our mimosas we ordered from the delectable menu. I ordered a massive spinach and shrimp salad with feta, my sister ordered loaded hashbrowns, and my niece ordered one of the biggest club sandwiches I've ever seen. The food was delicious, the waiter was fantastic, and the vibes were great. There were Bachelorette parties, friends, and families enjoying meals at tables and the bar. Can't wait to go back!!
Parker S — Google review
We had a lot of fun at the ordinary pub and really enjoyed our dinner. We couldn’t get in at the chive so we called an audible and came to the Ordinary Pub instead. Everyone in our group was pleasantly surprised by their food and drinks. I would definitely eat here again. The mushroom pasta was unique and something different, we really liked it. The salmon Felix was really good, as well as the fried green tomatoes. The low key star of the show was the pork belly sliders though - the slider buns were soooo good!
B P — Google review
What a cool place. So different from the ordinary. We had a super great server, Katie, and everyone there was nice. The mango jalapeño cider was yummy. Not strong tasting and kinda sweet, which I like. The Irish ale was stout tasting and good. The meatballs were good, but more sauce would be better. The savannah burger with loaded fries was great all around. The duck Tacos with the slaw really tasty. Would definitely recommend this place. So fun.
Mary N — Google review
We came in so that we could get a few Happy Hour items to share. We went for the Fried Green Tomato Caprese, Loaded Pub Fries, Meatballs, and Olive & Cheese plate. It was all very tasty and we enjoyed it all. My personal favorite was the Fried Green Tomatoes. I could have eaten the whole thing myself! The few cocktails we got were hit or miss. The two martinis we ordered were good, but the seasonal one(the name escapes me now) tasted like how a candle smells. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a great time.

Little Duck Diner is a charming and stylish upmarket diner located in the heart of Savannah's historic district. The restaurant offers a unique blend of southern charm and retro aesthetics, with an extensive menu served all day. Guests can enjoy reimagined American staples in a vintage-chic art-deco setting, complete with a sunny patio for outdoor dining. The quirky menu features delightful options like the Little Duck in Paris and classic chicken and waffles topped with spicy sriracha syrup.
Went and had an amazing brunch. They have three cocktails that are served with little rubber ducks, which was the highlight of my visit. But if your under age (like me) you can order it a mocktail. Which was very delicious. There was a fly that kept buzzing around but after a while it stopped. I would also like to say, it would be smart to make a reservation. Great brunch place! Definitely recommend!

We came towards the end of lunch on Sunday and were seated rather quickly. The food and drink menus were full of good options, but we settled on the Flap Crab omelette, the Ranch Steak and Eggs, and the Little Duck in Paris (french toast). The steak was ordered medium but served very rare and chewy (picture attached). By the time the waiter returned, we had all finished our meals so he offered the comp the steak. Besides this, our food and drinks were absolutely delicious! The servings were well worth the price We will be returning to try more dishes!

We were seated quickly inside for Sunday breakfast with an option to eat outside. My son used to work here and recommended Tomato Soup and grilled cheese as some of the best dishes offered. Soup didn’t disappoint and was rich & creamy with some red peppers and cheese & croutons giving it a delicious flavor and crunch factor. I had the California grilled cheese with chicken, pesto, avocado, mozzarella and havarti(I think) The bread was so good & buttery! Hubs had a sausage egg & cheese croissant, son had grilled cheese. Virgin Mango Bellini as it was Sunday morning and too early to add the Prosecco 🥭 $100 credit off your statement if you pay with AMEX platinum/Resy

This one’s a true find! The food was spectacular!! The service was slow but extremely professional and attentive. I thought during the time there - what is the rush!?! Service wanted us to slow down, relax and enjoy every second - so I still give 5 stars for that experience. The food I can’t say in words that would do it justice how good it was. Very high quality! The atmosphere was very nice, but quite small. Lots of mirrors - was looking at myself behind and beside by wife on the either side of me which was alittle distracting, but overall was a nice, clean environment. Definitely will be back!

We were a group of 6 including kids. Our server was very kind and patient, he switched our table for the bigger one and I know he didn’t had to it but it was so much more comfortable. Everyone was nice and the food was really delicious! We order couple of different dishes and every single one of them was amazing.
Joanna M — Google review
The diner was short staff so things unfortunately took a bit longer than normal. I enjoyed the grilled cheese and would recommend. I would give them a couple weeks to a month to fix the staffing issues.
Len W — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious! The waffle, biscuits & gravy, and crab omelette were all fantastic, and the sake Bloody Mary was a fun and tasty surprise. We sat outside — it was hot, but still a really nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, our server was not attentive and eventually disappeared, so we had to go inside to get our bill. That said, the hostess and food runners were super kind and helpful, which we appreciated. Would come back for the food alone!

This diner was so cute! The food was DELICIOUS and the atmosphere was perfect. We had a fantastic waiter named Abed and he recommended the wicked burger and avocado grilled cheese. They were stellar! The lore of this place is the little duckies they put into your drinks-such a cute little touch. Definitely worth a visit in downtown Savannah on Ellis Square!

Nestled in Troupe Square, Fox and Fig Cafe is a trendy spot offering a creative plant-based menu and an espresso bar featuring non-dairy milks. The cafe takes pride in using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, including bread from Auspicious Baking Co. and vegan baked goods from Henny Penny Cafe.
Excellent vegan food and coffee! We tried just about everything on the menu but the standout was hands down the French toast! I don’t even normally like French toast, it was memorable! The plant food picnic was outstanding, the house made cashew cheeses and pickles were a perfect pairing! Chipotle Mac and nachos were tasty too! I’m jealous of the lucky locals to have this place the vibe and ambiance as well as the food was worth the trip to Savanna from FL!

5.0 | So delicious! 100% recommend to try out if you’re in the area and tired of fried foods. They have a small menu, but a great variety of dishes so worth the price. The cafe is a bit small with a few seating areas (not great for big crowds). I got the Fox-acado Toast, Banana French Toast, Cinnamon Bun, Cold Brew, and Earl Grey Lavender Latte! Definitely recommend the latte as they make the lavender in house. Such a strong tea flavor as well and super unique. Loved both the entrees as well. Very balanced and had such great flavors. P.S. There is also parking nearby.

Great service, but food was just “ok” and the menu is limited. There is seating available on the sidewalk, which is dog-friendly. I highly recommend the croissants, but would like to see a larger selection of main dishes.
Trina S — Google review
Amazing! Don’t let the small menu dissuade you. We ate dinner on a short visit to town, dining outside with a heater going (which ran out of gas and they happily replaced.) Ordered a plate of nachos to share (I actually would’ve been thrilled with a stand along cup of the chili topping, it was so good.) I had the Bowl of Plenty with tofu (dressing comes on the side) and my dad had the Chipotle Mac, which he said was much lighter than some Mac & cheese dishes. My bowl was delicious, but I’m glad I had some nachos as it wouldn’t have filled me up. As a gluten free vegan, it can be challenging to find good food options when traveling, so I greatly appreciate this place! Lovely neighborhood to dine outside at, with some good street parking. No dessert eaten because none were made without refined sugar, but they looked delicious.
Kate — Google review
This is one of the best vegan places I’ve ever had! The tacos were so tasty and delicious and the nachos were really really tasty as well! The Mac and cheese seems to be popular but it was very bland and did not not have much flavor. The seating is limited so beware of that!
Alvina K — Google review
Plant based cafe with amazing dishes! We ate there on 4 occasions on our visit to Savannah. Well worth the money! The Earl Grey & Lavender tea is now a top favorite of mine. We had the Breakfast tacos with sweet potato and blueberry sage sausage, the Croissant with “impossible” gravy, the Fox burger made with “beyond meat”, the Banh Mi, and a Cinnamon roll! Awesome place! Indoor and outdoor seating, 2 restrooms and very clean. We’ve been several times and to our surprise they change the menu every few months from what the waitress told us. Love this place!
BettyJo C — Google review
The food here was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I got the burger and it was the best vegan burger I’ve ever had (I could’ve eaten 5 more lol ). We also got their French toast that’s made with banana bread and it was out of this world. They do an incredible job here! Also saw the bakery items they were selling that looked yummy as well. You won’t regret coming here!

My husband and I are not vegan, but this was one of the most amazing lunches we have had! We loved our food, the staff was kind, and there was an overall great amount of offerings for every pallette. Pictured are the nacho dish and the oatmeal creme pie - both were phenomenal! This is a must on our Savannah food list!

Savannah City Market is a historic four-block open-air market in Savannah's Historic District that has been around since the 1700s. It has withstood significant events throughout history and is now preserved as a landmark. The market is housed within restored warehouse buildings and offers various shopping and dining experiences, including British bakeries, seafood houses, daquiri dispensaries, and ice cream shops. Additionally, it features local artists showcasing their work in different mediums.
This was a fun stop to explore when getting off at the trolley stop. The prohibition museum was a must see and lunch at Paula Dean and Sons restaurant was wonderful.

Love the inner closed streets for wandering. Music seemed to be playing everywhere which gave a great atmosphere! The bathroom situation is less than ideal, everywhere says market closes at 6, but by 530 info center was closed. Need a key for the public bathroom in the artist building but artist shops have notes saying no key;don’t ask 🤷‍♀️. Birds cookie shop had SUPER friendly staff. The candy shop did not. Pizza smelled delicious and I regret not trying it! Was a fun time to walk around and enjoy a little time!

Interesting place. Dog and adult beverages friendly. Lots of shops and places to eat. The pizza at Vinnie's was delicious. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours before dinner.

The flags that were on display said "Fall in Love with the City Market" and that was an easy one for us! This market was huge with most buildings having two floors loaded with unique and bougie shops, art galleries, food specialties, and much much more. Proprietors were so friendly and informative and attentive to your curiosities and we were in no pressure for time to leave any shop not visited. A must if you're ever visiting the downtown Savannah area!

This place was an unexpected treat! Reminded me of 'The French Market' in New Orleans! More open air than the French Market. Wide pedestrian only streets made walking easy. Nice clusters of retail shops, art galleries, and restaurants of every type. Better yet, this place stays open til 10pm! Yes, It's a tourist trap but it's NOT a bunch of 'Made in China' crap! It ALL local craft persons selling well-made, functional items. Check out the gorgeous bags made of recycled sail cloth! The shoe place next door was awesome! In need of a sugar fix? FREE PRALINE SAMPLE just down half a block! While I still yearn for New Orleans, this place was a lovely substitute! I was in Savannah 2 days during which I went to VINNIE'S 3 times. It's that GOOD! IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!

Clary's Cafe is a beloved Southern-style diner in Downtown Savannah, known for its humble atmosphere and classic breakfast and lunch dishes. The cafe has a rich history, having started as a drug store in the 1930s before evolving into the iconic southern diner it is today. Featured prominently in 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,' Clary's offers an all-day breakfast menu with traditional favorites like omelets, eggs Benedict, and hot griddle cakes.
Clary’s Cafe is a great choice. We get in there and the place was full, but they are very quickly taking you in a table. I pick the Greek Omelette and my husband the Steak and eggs. The steak was very tender my omelette so good I add bacon on the side. Our plate came with toast. Paola our waiter was so nice and serviceable. All the employees were so nice and happy.

Clary’s is an amazing diner that’s been there for years and I see why. The food is amazing. Though it was extremely packed they offered family style seating (sitting with others) it was actually fun getting to know other people and their experience of Savannah. Overall the food was perfect and portions are excellent worth the money. 10/10 accommodations, atmosphere, and service.
Tyrra T — Google review
Clary’s Cafe has got to be my favorite spot in Savannah 🔥 SERVICE First of all, the service is exceptional. They are all very sweet and go above and beyond to serve you. Even though it’s always packed because it seems to be a locals’ favorite, they’re quick with your order and are well organized with the tables. PORTIONS The portions are 10/10 too. You will be more than satisfied with anything you order here, it really is plenty of food. QUALITY The food quality is great as well, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and all of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I forgot to take a picture of it because I was starving. PRICES The prices are unmatched, which is really appreciated in a city where most places are expensive. PARKING Lastly, they have their own few spots for parking, which is very nice considering the entire city is known for how hard it is to find a spot to park. CONCLUSION Easily one of the best spots in the city. Cannot wait to come back here 👍

Yes! If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot in historic Savannah, make this your one. My daughter and I shared the Elvis French Toast, and it was AMAZING! I have a feeling Elvis would approve. This is a fantastic stop for a solid meal. Had my first ever grits, and they did not disappoint. The service was excellent, and the food was on point. Real bacon, Yes! So good. The home-made gravy the biscuits and eggs, great stuff. Two Cracked Eggs, I would go back again the next time in Savannah.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Two Cracked Eggs with our dog, Gracie. The building is very unique. I'd to know the history. Breakfast was yummy but the Monte Cristo could have used some syrup. The egg sandwich would benefit from some condiments or dip. Our server, Niki, was very attentive. The restaurant is a cash only establishment.
George M — Google review
My husband and I came to enjoy breakfast on a Sunday morning. I don't know if we're simply low maintenance but contrary to all the other reviews, the service was absolutely wonderful. Everyone working there was extremely kind and attentive. Aside from that, the food was expensive but a ridiculously large portion. I don't think a single human being is meant to eat a full plate alone. Unfortunately, the food was very delicious so I did make an attempt and left painfully stuffed. We got the biscuits and gravy, white trash and a side of bacon. I would recommend getting the white trash if you're torn between the two because it comes with a biscuit and topped with gravy. Everything was great, and somehow, even the grits.
Lideth D — Google review
The only reason I gave 4 on the food was because the French toast was not hot. Darcy, my amazing waitress asked them to remake it (I would have settled for hot syrup). She went above and beyond to make sure I had a hot meal which I really appreciated!

Absolutely worth the wait! We waited about 30 minutes, but the food and view made it totally worth it. We sat overlooking the river and even saw dolphins while we ate! The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Highly recommend the peach French toast — so good! My husband got the specialty bacon and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. Our kiddo loved his bacon too, and the biscuits are huge! Great atmosphere, great food — definitely recommend giving it a try.

Everytime we come to Savannah this is our first & only breakfast spot because its so good. Espresso martini is delicious Must get the hanging bacon!! Pancakes & biscuits & grits are the best. Service is excellent! Everyone is so kind & welcoming!! 🙂💛 (We started eating the bacon before I took a picture haha) Casey was our server today & was excellent!
Colleen C — Google review
The customer service was non-existent. We waited over 1.5 HOURS for our food — just French toast and a biscuit! No one refilled our drinks, no one checked in with us, and it felt like we were completely forgotten. When we finally stood up to leave, they rushed our food into to-go containers — at that point, it had been TWO HOURS since we ordered. And for what? My kids' French toast was burnt to a crisp. My husband’s order was completely wrong and had missing items. My so-called "peach French toast" was not only disgusting, but it was sloppily tossed into the bag, which caused it to leak everywhere. We paid $80 for four slices of bread, canned peaches, and a biscuit. If I could leave a NEGATIVE rating, I absolutely would. We will never return, and I strongly advise you don’t waste your time or money here. This was beyond disappointing — it was downright infuriating.

Whenever I'm in Savannah with my sister, this place is always packed. It's right near all the shopping so you can't miss it. I wrote it down as a place to visit the next time we're in the city. This time around it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel, so we decided to stop in for breakfast and coffee before a walking tour. We popped in around 8:30 am and there were only about two others inside. I recommend you stop by early if you want to avoid the crowds! If you scan the QR code and complete the survey you can get 15% off of your order. The two baristas were very friendly and served us quickly. I got a cafe con leche and a butter croissant, my sister got a Mexican mocha and a ham and cheese croissant. The pastries and coffee were delicious! We were able to sit at the roomy bar and leisurely enjoy our breakfast on a chilly morning before starting the day. My only "complaint" is that they forgot to ask if we were dining in or not, so they wound up taking our pastries out of the bags and put them on plates instead. I was also surprised when the coffee was served in paper cups, but I'm not sure if that's just the way it's done here. I'd definitely recommend The Coffee Fox to anyone looking for a good morning pick-me-up!

Comfortable replacing fun and quick service. We got a tea and a coffee and relaxed outside people watching and reading about the historical romantic atmosphere in Savannah. We both had no idea this place was so special!

We found coffee fox by accident! We were surprise to find out that it was the location of Tondee’sTavern where the sons of liberty met! I am shocked there isn’t more pride in this historic site! However the pastries here are wonderful. I had a savory croissant that was flaky and wonderful. Our drinks were perfect and masterfully made. Love this place!

Chill coffee shop with great vibes and excellent drinks. Relaxing atmosphere and quick service despite busy customers in and out. Drinks arrived quickly and we'll made. Appreciate a great place to relax and chill, highly recommend.

Visiting from NY and my patient recommended this spot — and wow, what a gem! I’m such a sucker for cute, quaint local coffee shops, and this one checks every box. It’s got that cozy charm, friendly southern hospitality, and the kind of vibe that just makes you want to sit and stay awhile. The barista was super welcoming and recommended a few of their specialties. I went with the Iced Mexican Mocha and gurrrrrrl, it was delicious! I sat by the window watching the main street go by, completely in bliss with my coffee concoction. I’ll definitely be back in November when I visit my boyfriend — can’t wait to see what new specials they have! SO. SO. GOOD.

The gentleman working made me an iced coffee even though they don't really do that and he joked about being able to make it for be because that's what he made himself🤣. We also had an Iced vanilla cold brew with oat milk

I came across this shop St. Patrick’s Day morning and thought it was really cute. The prices were decent & the bakery items were absolutely delicious. I went back the next morning to get the same thing, my favorites were the almond croissant & this double shot espresso vanilla latte they made me, both really good. It has a good vibe as it is nicely decorated in there & they have some items for purchase. I got a sticker & some cute little catnip toys for my baby back home. Overall great experience!

The Sentient Bean is a trendy coffee house located near Forsyth Park in Savannah. It offers a variety of fair-trade coffee options and serves vegetarian and vegan breakfast fare, including burritos, quiche, sandwiches, omelets, and frittatas. The menu also features non-coffee beverages like smoothies, teas, and lemonade. In addition to its great selection of coffee and food offerings, the cozy atmosphere makes it a welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike.
We loved the Sentient Bean and it’s such a cool and cute coffee shop right by the park. The food came pretty timely on a Sunday morning and the lines were pretty nonexistent. Would recommend for anyone looking for coffee and grub by the park. Vegan options too!

I’m sure this place is great on some days, but I went on a very busy Saturday morning. The problem wasn’t that it was so busy but it seemed like the workers were having a hard time staying afloat while it was so busy. I’ve worked the industry so I get it. I ordered a black coffee, which is pretty much impossible to mess up, and a bagel. The bagel was terrible. Not only was the bagel gross and mushy but I got it cold. I was perplexed as to why they would hand me a cold bagel with a small cup of regular cream cheese. So I got back in the enormous line and asked them to cook it. They then politely pointed me towards a toaster. The toaster sucked. It didn’t work so after 10 minutes of trying to toast my bagel I gave up and just ate my warm bagel. Not the best experience. Probably wouldn’t get anything here except coffee. You’d be better off in a hotel lobby to be quite honest. Nice atmosphere tho so that’s a plus. The prices are very low as well.

My iced latte was really bitter. My partner said his hot latte tasted over-roasted, like the coffee was burned. Food was good, loved the huge selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Restaurant is accessible, one gender nuetral restroom. Loved that they had a pride flag and queer looking staff, but based on the coffee, we will not be returning.

I don’t know what’s going on at the bean, but I’m tired of the disrespect. I’ve let a lot slide up until this point, but now I have to say something. I’ve been going here for over a decade and the service has never been so poor. I don’t even hang out there anymore, but even my experience of placing Togo and pickup orders has been extremely subpar. For one, why are the baristas acting like catty high schoolers. The person in front of me there all smiles and friendly. Then I get to the front and they’re frowning and acting upset. I don’t bother these people. Why do I get the attitude? It feels like some sort of racial tension or something. That’s my only explanation. They’ve gone as far as ignoring me and taking the order of the person I’m with, but the latest issues seem to be the final straw for me. I’ve been vegan for a decade and this is a place that purports to accommodate that, but the baristas have repeatedly given me non vegan items my past few visits. First it was the vegan breakfast burrito, and I should have just stopped going there then, but I know people make mistakes so I gave them grace, but today was a bridge too far. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk, and the barista made it with whole milk, luckily she labeled it, so I just asked if she could fix it. Instead of getting a new cup she just tossed the old coffee out and made the new one in the same cup. I don’t even think she rinsed it out. Disgusting. Terribly disrespectful as well. I can no longer spend my hard earned money here, and would suggest that any other black people in the area do the same.

Love this place. They have always been extremely understanding and kind knowing I have a severe allergy. They did mess it up once, but instantly made it right and were very apologetic. Of the 100 times being here 99 visits were top notch! Love their coffee and they always have vegan options, which I go to as someone with a deadly milk/egg allergy. Most staff here are also super cool. Prices are very reasonable!!! ♥️

Repeal 33 Bar & Restaurant is a trendy spot in Savannah known for its exceptional cocktails and upscale American cuisine served in a cozy speakeasy-style setting. The restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional Southern dishes, with standout items like the Crispy Smashed Fingerling Potatoes and seared jumbo scallops with pecans and sweet potato risotto. Owned by award-winning Beverage Director Jim McCourt, Repeal 33 prides itself on its top-notch cocktails.
Ventured in for a Sunday brunch and arrived when it first opened. Hardly anyone was there at first, so it was nice and quiet. Started out with the Street Corn appetizer which was mouthwatering delicious. I had the Chicken and Waffles and my wife had the steak and eggs. Both of these dishes were seasoned, cooked well and were outstanding. We split a small portion of their Challah French Toast which was very savory. Service was good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place for a date night, and special occasion.

Traveled to Savannah for my son's birthday and chose Repeal 33 for his birthday dinner. Our server was Kassidy and she was not as attentive as we would have liked. We had to ask other servers/runners questions because she wasn't around. Also, I stated in the reservation we were celebrating a birthday and no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. On to the food......we ordered the lobster tortellini ($26), grilled octopus ($19) and the sourdough bread ($8). Unsure why bread had to be ordered and wasn't provided. However, our starters were absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and seasoned well. Next, we ordered the NY Strip ($39) and the halibut ($39). Again both were delicious. The corn sauce with my halibut was cold, but still very tasty. The first drink I ordered, should we kiss, was disappointing. My son ordered the smoke on the harbor and loved it. He contemplated getting a 2nd one but chose a drink with sazerac on the dessert menu. He enjoyed both drinks. I elected for a lemon drop and had 2. Although the 2nd one didn't have a full sugared rim or lemon garnish. We ordered the Nutella torte and banana pudding to go but did not enjoy either. Disappointing finish to an otherwise enjoyable meal. Our bill for 2 people was $249. We would go back for the starters and entrées but forgo dessert. May have been cheaper to choose the tasting menu. (If they allow for a substitution for the steak since I don't eat red meat)

Beautiful dining room, ambiance was excellent. Service really was top notch. The dining room was not very busy but did seem loud. We had the oysters which were very fresh, preferred the Carolina over the Canadian as they were more flavorful and bigger. Wings were very tender and juicy. Heirloom salad was really over the top good and light. Grilled octopus was very tender and the sauce was delicious. Not a single issue with the service and food. Don’t forget the hot sourdough bread!

This restaurant is so exciting and fun to be at. The atmosphere was so great and just a brilliant place to spend some time. I don’t drink, but I wanted to just sit at the bar and admire the whole atmosphere. We started with Sourdough Bread and their butter was a piece of magic, not sure where they get it, but that was seriously great butter. The Brussels sprouts were average great starter and a favorite for us where ever we go. We had steak with creamed spinach and a horseradish sauce. The steak was decent and the creamed spinach was fantastic. The Horseradish sauce I could not really taste the horseradish so was not a feature for me on the plate. The Service was great, our waiter was attentive and wanted to make sure that we had a great evening. As it was our anniversary they provided us a dessert that was great. I loved this place and would highly recommend it as a great place to have a meal. Would add it to your list of places to eat when you are in Savannah.

My sister and I dined at Repel 33 last night, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of amazing. Our expectations were high, and they were absolutely met. Let’s start with the service—top tier. Our server Rhett was phenomenal—attentive, intuitive, and full of great energy. He really listened to us and tailored the experience to match our vibe. The general manager, Mat, made a point to check in and ensure our evening was going smoothly. And shoutout to Jack, who delivered and cleared our plates with such ease and friendliness. There was another gentleman assisting as well—didn’t catch his name, but he was also wonderful. Now the food… whew. We went with the Chef’s Tasting Menu and added on an appetizer of bone marrow, which Rhett made sure was seamlessly incorporated into the tasting. We had already started with cocktails (which were amazing), so we opted for just one drink pairing package to share—and that was plenty. Here’s a breakdown of our tasting menu: Course 1: A delicate potato croquette on crème fraîche, topped with caviar and an edible flower—simple, elegant, and delicious. Course 2: Charred octopus on an eggplant purée with chili oil, radish, arugula, pine nuts, and golden raisins. Unexpected and absolutely bursting with flavor. Course 3: Lobster tortellini in a red curry butter sauce with pomegranate seeds, fried shallots, and roasted carrot. This was one of my top favorites—creamy, bold, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Course 4: Perfectly cooked halibut over a corn cream sauce with fresh peas, corn kernels, and clams—so bright and fresh. Course 5: Tender steak with creamed spinach, a red wine horseradish sauce, and the fluffiest duchess potatoes. Comforting, rich, and just perfect. Dessert: My sister had the banana pudding (we joked someone’s grandma must be in the back making it—it’s that good), and I had the key lime pie panna cotta, which was a light, tangy finish. Every bite was thoughtful and flavorful. Yes, the tasting menu is a splurge—but it’s 100% worth it. Thank you to the incredible team at Repel 33 and major compliments to the chef. We’ll be back!

My girlfriend and I ate here during our trip to Savannah last weekend. Food and service was phenomenal! I loved the Oysters and the Steak was cooked perfectly. We also had some bread and my gf got a burger wish was also pretty good. I think what really closed the deal on this place is the kind of service we got from Phillip, our waiter. Very kind and very attentive. I also appreciated the ambience of the place. The bar area was very beautiful and the place was quiet and intimate for a good date night. I will definitely be back whenever we visit Savannah again!

Repeal provided a spectacular dining experience. The ambiance and atmosphere were a perfect twist of old world yet modern. All of the staff were kind, attentive, and courteous. Our server Antoinette was especially terrific. She was knowledgeable about the food options, flavor profiles, and portions which helped us make some very tough choices on a menu where everything sounded wonderful. We had a few drinks that were well made and delivered for high end cocktails. The Remington was a sweet cherry whiskey drink, drawing inspiration from a martini. Smoke on the Harbor was a smoked whiskey cocktail that balanced many subtle layers of flavor. The presentation was worth the price alone. Best for last, the food. We have eaten at many high end restaurants throughout our travels and this competes with the best of them. We started with the Alsatian Flatbread which was a large portion for two people. It hit a perfect balance of sweet and savory. For our entrees we had the Butter Poached Halibut and the Smash Burger, plus a side of cheddar grits. The Halibut was light and flaky, melted in your mouth. The sauce was incredible. We were hesitant to order a burger at a nicer restaurant but once we bit into it we were happy with all of our life choices. The truffle cheese and shallot jam are the perfect balance of flavors to complement perfectly crispy smash patties. This burger will set the standard that other burgers are measured against for a while. Overall this was a stellar experience and the only knock against the place is that it's a thousand miles away from our home and we want to dine here weekly. If you've made it this far, you probably already know you should make this your dining destination. We'll absolutely return the next time we are in Savannah. Bravo, Repeal.

Mirabelle Savannah is a casual-chic daytime destination offering gourmet waffles, pastries, and specialty coffee drinks. The cafe at Mirabelle combines the comfort foods of the South and Belgium, with its signature dish being the Liege waffle that can be customized in various ways. Located across from St.
I found this place on social media and am so glad we stopped by! Their waffles are absolutely delicious 😋 more of a breakfast dessert than breakfast itself. I actually came here twice during my stay in Savannah and I wanted to try all the waffles. Great cozy like place with amazing staff. They are card only for payment. They offer special coffees and waffles as well, cant remember if they were weekly or monthly. I got the blueberry muffin latte, fruity pebble latte, peach cobbler waffle, and smores waffle. Its the place to go to for dessert.

3 stars for their chocolate choices. It’s a cute café to stop by when you’re park hopping. I wouldn’t call it my favorite as a downtown local, but it does have a quaint small-town vibe. Seating is limited, but the sea salt mocha was yummy.

We absolutely loved Mirabelle Café in Savannah and kept coming back during our stay in the city. The sandwiches and waffles were super tasty, but what really blew me away was the amazing chocolate selection. I’m Hungarian, so it was such a fun surprise to spot Hungarian chocolate on the shelves! They have bean-to-bar chocolates from all over the world – such a treat. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Lovely place to grab a bite & coffee, across from St. John Basilica Church. The Grilled Cheese with bacon & sliced green apple was excellent. Iced latte, iced jasmine tea, each freshly made & very good! Great, fast, organized server. Mirabelle R.

Very cute spot! It was pretty busy when we went so inside was quite crowded but we got lucky to snag a seat outside with a great view. Immaculate vibes. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and strawberry waffle - fantastic. Literally SO good and fresh. The panini was so crispy and flavorful, definitely my favorite. I ordered a blueberry pancake latte after - I’d order half sweet next time but it was delicious as well!

Absolutely delicious food and drinks with wonderfully cozy atmosphere. I got the lemon zinger waffle and the seasonal apple spice latte, both of which were great! Probably the best waffle I've ever had. I really enjoyed my time here, and want to come back for more of these waffles!

We stopped by Mirabelle Savannah on a whim with my family because it was so hot outside and we just wanted a snack and something to drink. Definitely a hidden gem for a casual stop in Savannah!

(ignore the bite on the sandwich) This is one of the favorite food spots for locals! Delicious sandwiches at a reasonable price 🔥 The space inside is very small and always packed, so I highly recommend taking your food somewhere else. Maté Factor is a charming teahouse located just three blocks east of Forsyth Park on Hall Street. The café offers a cozy and rustic ambiance with a patio, making it an ideal spot to enjoy yerba mate beverages, sandwiches, and baked goods. The café's exterior is meticulously painted with colorful details reminiscent of homes in the Victorian District. Inside, the wood-centric setting exudes an intimate and peaceful atmosphere.
I had this place saved due to the reviews and didn’t even realize it is related to The Yellow Deli that is near my home! I knew immediately we had to swing in. They have the absolute best pastries and tea. Had the Dark Roast drink iced, a spinach and cheese pie and the date bar. All were as phenomenal as I expected.

Cute place, coffee was interesting but delicious. I wish they had more of a breakfast selection but I got the breakfast sandwich which had a choice of either roast beef, turkey, or chicken for the meat. It was decent - fluffy egg and sweet chipoltle sauce, not much meat on the sandwich but it was filling. Quiet atmosphere - great for a slow start to the morning with plenty of places to sit and enjoy your coffee / meal.

One of my favorite cafés in Savannah. Great food, friendly staff, and a cosy natural wood vibe inside with pleasant surroundings. It has a laid-back, chilled atmosphere—definitely not for the impatient or last-minute rush 😁. Coming from a vibrant, fast-paced city, I love how this place slows me down to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Savannah. My go-to is always the Mayan Mocha and the Reuben sandwich—highly recommend! 3 stars is because the seating isn’t very comfortable and the atmosphere isn’t conducive for private chit-chatting. In winter and spring the outdoor seating can be 🥶 unless you’re close to the gentle fire pit. Nothing personal here—just managing expectations.

**An Absolute Gem in Savannah!** Matte Factor is hands down one of the best spots in Savannah—and their **Mayan mocha** is out of this world! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, it’s the best I’ve ever had. The combination of deep chocolate, bold espresso, and that subtle hint of spice creates a truly unforgettable drink. It’s warm, comforting, and energizing all at once. The atmosphere at Matte Factor is just as amazing—welcoming, cozy, and full of heart. Whether you're a local or just visiting, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t find a better mocha or a more inviting place to relax and enjoy it.

In the heart of Savannah, this quaint gem shines like a diamond in the sizzling summer sun. Came here with no expectations and left with a renewed outlook on life. To start, the vanilla latte. This place is known for Matte, but don’t fret the latte is no second fiddle. Speaking of fiddles you’re in for a musical delight, with the exquisite strum of violin blessing your eardrums as you sip gods nectar. I had the vanilla hazelnut latte, and boy that thing is to die for. Would give up my first born to experience the first sip all over again. Thank you for everything you’ve given me. Will be back tomorrow morning. Peace and love.

The most amazing croissant I've ever had. Breakfast at Le Cafe Gourmet.... Let me tell ya this is a must! The croissant was crazy good! Small little cafe with great big taste! Friendly staff. But that mango strawberry croissant will be in my dreams!

My fave is the Dijon Sandwich on *rosemary* bread- definitely get the rosemary bread!! It’s SO good!! The turkey is moist and not sliced, but pulled and it has great flavor! I will note that the amount of turkey they put on isn’t always consistent. Last time it was loaded, today it was skimpy with several bites of just bread. I’ve had their croissants- great and also some kind of loaf pastry but it was rock hard. So I think pastries other than croissants can be hit or miss. As a novice coffee snob, their coffee is an absolute no for me. Way too much milk. Definitely great for a quick and filling brunch or lunch stop.

Coffee was top quality. I drank café au lait for breakfast. Later, I returned for lunch /espresso. The pain au chocolate was very good; not the very best I’ve had. The texture of the dough was a bit glutenous. The slightly sweet pear crepe for lunch was very tasty, with a welcome combination of textures and flavors. (Brie, brown sugar, nuts, pears.) The staff was a bit overwhelmed during the breakfast hour.

Living in France half my life before coming to the US I had to stop by and try it out, especially after developing a gluten allergy. They knocked it out of the park. Come for the vibe and stay for the coffee. Great menu and selection of seasonal specials. The inside of this shop is quite small but it’s very very on point from a branding perspective extremely cute. Whoever designed this place kudos. The exterior is also great because it’s on a beautiful tree lined street. Would love to go back again on a cooler day and hangout outside at one of the tables.

Beautiful building and decor. I honestly needed a restroom. But always happy to support and purchase something. The almond croissant was warmed and delicious. Always happy to notice good people enjoy enjoying their job and taking the time to make the customer experience. Also a beautiful in clean bathroom.

Really liked the vibe of this place. It had seating inside and outside. I got a chocolate croissant which was great. My wife got the iced praline latte and it was delicious. I got the iced horchata latte and I didn’t love it. The inside is sunken to where the table tops are at street level, which is a really fun perspective when sitting and looking out the window. (especially as dogs go by) I would go back but would just try something different.

At the recommendation of friends, we visited Franklins and we were not disappointed! The outside entrance is so welcoming and from there it just got better! Light, bright, clean, fresh! The two men behind the counter gave us a warm sincere greeting when we walked inside. Superb hospitality and service. We’re vegan and there were some tasty options available. And the house coffee with Oat milk was delicious! We’ll be back and bring friends!

Franklin's is a beautiful cafe with a good espresso and friendly staff. The inside is clean and comfortable. Outside there are a few tables for people watching and enjoying the beautiful views. My only complaint would be the chocolate croissant - it was more like a bun/roll with chocolate - cold, a bit tough, and not great. Still worth a visit for the ambiance and coffee!

Such a cute spot — love the pastries and their variety of syrups and specialty coffees. That said, the weekend wait was brutal (about 40 minutes just for coffees). I appreciated that the drinks weren’t overly sweet, but both my flat white and my husband’s iced latte had something off about the coffee itself — maybe the roast or espresso blend? Just wasn’t our favorite.

Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room is a long-standing family-owned Southern diner in Savannah, serving up generous portions of traditional Southern cuisine at communal tables since 1943. This popular spot has attracted attention from notable figures like President Obama and continues to draw crowds with its family-style meals featuring fried chicken, butter beans, red rice, collard greens, mac and cheese, and candied yams.
Visiting here was such a unique experience! Do expect to wait in line but it will be worth it. Erin stood outside and told us about the life of Mrs. Wilkes which was fascinating. We purchased the cookbook and we were impressed with every attention to detail. We also got to meet Mrs.Wilkes granddaughter and she was so kind. The food was delicious and the biscuits were outstanding!! They told us they make 600 every day and we know why!!

We had the chance to visit Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room while in Savannah, and let me tell you, it was 100% worth the wait! The family-style setup was such a unique and special experience. I think there were 22 or 23 bowls of food on the table. Everything from fried chicken to collard greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and more. Every bite tasted like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen. Even though the day was very hot, the staff was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. They made sure everyone was taken care of, offering water, shade, and kind words to help us through the wait. Their warmth and care made it all the more enjoyable. If you’re in Savannah and want a real taste of Southern cooking and hospitality, don’t miss Mrs. Wilkes. It’s more than a meal, it’s a memorable experience. But the food will always be worth the wait!!

Waited for about 30 min in a line outside to enter. There are only about 5-6 large tables inside and you are seated with people you don’t know but you quickly get to know everyone. Food is served family-style in bowls which are then passed around the table (like an old fashioned sit-down family meal). Ambiance is great. Food is tasty and plentiful, and service is friendly and top notch. Restaurant is located on a beautiful street - definitely recommend for a one-of-a-kind experience! If looking for fancy, fine dining this isn’t it. You’ll get nothing but down home southern comfort food and hospitality here. No menu to order from - family-sized portions are already on the table when you enter (all you can eat). It’s more like visiting someone’s home for a meal rather than being served.

Yes the is a usually a wait to get in, but grab a beverage and line up - you will not be disappointed. This is family style dining NOT to be missed if you’re visiting Savannah. It’s a set menu, the food is soul food - collards, fried chicken etc. it’s like having lunch with your new friends and family. A great experience and only $40 - a bargain.

One of the best spots for Southern cooking in Savannah! The fried chicken is absolutely incredible, and every classic side—mac and cheese, greens, cornbread—is just as good. I love the family-style dining concept; it feels like you’re eating at Grandma’s house. From the warm welcome at the door to the genuinely kind waitstaff, the Southern hospitality here is unmatched. A must-visit if you’re in town!

If you’re anywhere near Savannah, you must go to Mrs. Wilkes for a meal. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine Southern hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the kind of place where it feels like Sunday dinner at Grandma’s — if Grandma happened to be a five-star cook. The meal was served family-style, and it was a true Southern spread — generous, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The meats were the undeniable stars of the table: tender fried chicken with perfectly crispy skin, smoky pulled pork that melted in your mouth, and slow-cooked beef stew. Each meat was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and clearly made with love. The sides were no afterthought either. We were treated to creamy mac and cheese, tangy collard greens, buttery cornbread, fluffy mashed potatoes with rich gravy, fried okra, and so many more. Every dish had its own distinct flavor and homemade charm — nothing tasted store-bought or rushed. The balance of savory, sweet, and spicy flavors was spot on, and everything was served piping hot and replenished with a smile. What really elevated the whole experience was the service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, always ready with a fresh pitcher of sweet tea or a recommendation for what to try next. They made us feel like we were part of the family — something you just can’t fake. If you’re craving a meal that’s both comforting and deeply satisfying, this Southern family-style spot delivers in every way. Come hungry, leave happy, and don’t forget to save room for the peach cobbler and banana pudding, they are sweet ending to a truly spectacular meal.

We went to Savanna Georgia on a day trip. We heard the place to eat was Mrs. Wilkes. We stood in line for 2 hours. We made friends while waiting to get in line. It’s a family style all you can eat restaurant. you sit next to people you don’t know and talk about everything and you get to know them and become friends. The food service was great. If you are in Savanna We recommend you visit Mrs Wilkes you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious classic southern cooking served family style. Every dish was amazing, so come hungry! The fried chicken and greens were some of the best I've ever had. Fair warning, it's first come first serve and they're open until they run out of food. You will wait in line outside, but once you're seated you eat immediately. Cash Only!

Family lunch today!! We were immediately welcomed at the door and sat at our table. Server came out to welcome us to the restaurant and took our drink orders. When they came out WOW I was impressed!! We ordered out food which came out so quick and tasty!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!! By the way, it's located right across Savannah convention center. Allah ah was our server and she welcomed us and served us with a smile the entire time!!!

Went for dinner here on a Thursday night. It wasn’t too busy. I did come by myself so I ate at the bar. The bartender was excellent! Very friendly and made suggestions. The house salad was amazing. It had blue cheese and toasted almonds. They brought out two big bottles of oil and vinegar for me to apply myself. The New Orleans poor boy was very fresh and delicious!

We stopped in for dinner after driving all day to get to Savannah and really enjoyed Huey's. Relaxing atmosphere. No rushing us and no making us wait either. The food was fantastic! We had the Shrimp & Grits and the Red Beans & Rice with Sausage and both were perfect. Highly recommend this place!

One of my favorite breakfast places when I was in Savannah! I love that their hours are from 8:00AM - 9:30PM/10:00PM. A lot of comparable places opened at 9 or 10. I'm an early riser so I was looking for breakfast places around the historic district that were within walking distance of where I was staying. This fit the bill. I walked right in at 8:10 and there was no wait. I had a coffee and the Crabcake Benedict and they were phenomenal! This is right on the river and looks to be a great spot to watch container ships come in. You can check the Georgia Port Authority and find the schedule of when bigger ships are coming in if you do want to enjoy a meal while watching. I did have to go down a steep flight of stairs to get to this place so be advised if you do choose here. I also don't believe there's easy street parking - as I said I walked here and it was only a few minutes from my hotel. However, I wouldn't let that deter you. Great place and I will definitely go again!

Huey’s – Savannah, GA Huey’s delivers a great view, but the overall experience doesn’t quite match the setting. The food was decent—nothing to complain about, but nothing that stood out either. The real letdown was the service. The staff seemed scattered and distracted, and we often felt like an afterthought. In a city like Savannah, where standout restaurants are everywhere, that kind of complacency doesn’t cut it. What saves Huey’s is its unbeatable location. Right on the Savannah River, it offers a front-row seat to the river traffic—boats, barges, and everything in between. It’s a beautiful, relaxing backdrop for a meal. The people-watching is just as entertaining and might be the most memorable part of the visit. If the service ever catches up to the view, Huey’s could be a much more compelling destination.

The vibe and views were beautiful, and the service was good overall, except for the maître d’ who took a minute to come back?? maybe she was on a break. I mainly came in because I saw a couple outside enjoying a beignet, and since I was in Louisiana just a month ago, I was definitely craving them. They were nice and hot when we got them, but unfortunately, they didn’t allow the dough to rise properly, so the inside was quite dense rather than fluffy. Still, I’d give it a B+ for effort.

Wiley's Championship BBQ is a barbecue restaurant located in the town of Savannah, Georgia, that specializes in slow-cooked staples and all the fixins'. The eatery is well-known for its delicious smoked meats and all the sides that go with it. On days when you're craving some good, authentic barbecue, Wiley's should be your go-to spot.
We had Wiley's cater our small wedding. Wednesday November 6, 2024 in Tybee Island. They came and set everything up for us, we had brisket, pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, banana pudding and drinks. THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS AMAZING! Everything tasted Great! Thanks Wiley's for the yummy food and taking g care of the catering for us!! Joe & Suzi

I recently tried the ribs from Wiley’s Championship BBQ, and I can honestly say they are the best I’ve ever had! The meat is tender, perfectly seasoned, and falls right off the bone. The smoky flavor is out of this world, and the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It’s clear that they put a lot of care and skill into their cooking. I highly recommend Wiley’s for anyone who loves great BBQ — they’ve definitely earned a loyal customer in me!

Mid. Very mid. Came in with high hopes and left disappointed. Tried the three meat platter with two sides and it was all mediocre. I would love to have something better to say because the young woman who helped me was incredibly friendly and helpful. But the food was a massive letdown. The brisket had no Smoke flavor. The chicken was dry. The ribs were nothing memorable. The broccoli cheese rice was so overcooked it was mealy. The collard greens were… forgettable. This whole meal was really disappointing. I’m sorry y’all, but you win no championships in my book. I genuinely wish I could rate y’all better but this just wasn’t it. Also, as a note on atmosphere:: warm lights in the Edison bulbs. Please. I can’t believe I have to say this. Bright cool bulbs are TERRIBLE ON THE EYES. If the bulbs are exposed, they should be dim, warm light. Ugh.

CLEARLY all the sides are either used from a bag, frozen or reused from the day before( the jumbo baked potatoes) there has been a SERIOUS downshift in people stopping by. As a local when I moved here it was pretty good now its just GARBAGE! They also made the mistake of their 'signature BBQ' sauces are straight from CBE distribution. They are peeling the labels off & passing them off as their own... they don't even bother to rebottle them. Also the 'Chef' Britney is endangering the health of anyone that eats there by reheating already good to go food multiple times. DONT GO THERE IF YOU VALUE SAFETY, QUALITY or CARING! What they do in house is dry & reused for days at a time. Championship BBQ my behind. It's manufactured from a food truck- its sad really I actually enjoyed eating there, now ita not even on my radar of a place i would even consider. Plus talking with the servers they get screwed in tips in order for the owner to make their money of which they are never there. SHAME on them all-they missed a very lucrative opportunity & squandered it away by cutting corners & its obvious.

Im just in the area for a day with my wife, we're on vacation. We're also from New jersey, which is not well known for it bbq (its pretty bad) so we were down south and wanted to try some good bbq finally. This place is not it. Everything we tried was dry with no flavor, if you need to smother your bbq In bbq sauce to even be able to make it edible something is terribly wrong. Im a truck driver so I've tried bbq from all over the states and this place is quite possibly some of the worst bbq I've ever had. I will mention though, the sauces were okay. Nothing to write home about, and the peach cobler was pretty good, however my wife didn't like it. For the price I dont think its worth it at all and I'm very disappointed. Maybe if our meal was like 10$ all together id have rated it higher. But it seems like a fast food version of bbq. Our waitress was very friendly and good though so points there.

Definitely one of the best BBQ spots I’ve ever been to. We got the sampler + ribs, everything was made to perfection & falling off the bone. We got the sweet potato casserole & mac n cheese are our sides & for dessert they were already sold out of majority of the desserts we were interested in (we came in later in the day) That tells you those desserts must be deelish. We ended up getting the coffee chocolate chip ice cream which was good!We will definitely be stopping by before we head out of town because there’s other things we wanted to try :)

Far from championship barbecue. I went there expecting great barbecue, when I got there I was greeted by a very nice young lady and she took my order. While waiting I couldn’t help over hearing one of the cooks arguing very loudly with one of the other employees. I got my food to go and instead of putting my beans in a plastic bowl with a lid they dumped them right in the styrofoam container don’t know who’s idea that was but I assume it was just the owners way of saving money. I got the jumbo pork sandwich not served on a jumbo bun but two pieces of bread so it wasn’t really a jumbo. The beans had no taste like they were just poured out of a can and the pork was mushy like it was cooked in a crockpot there was no smoke taste and you couldn’t even taste the seasoning it was very bland.I got the vinegar based sauce and it two was awful. Maybe at one time it was championship barbecue but it isn’t now don’t waste your money. Come up to north Georgia and get some real barbecue where you get out of your car and can smell the smoke and taste the difference.

We are on vacation from WV. We are big bbq fans and had to eat here after seeing all the rave reviews. We were in there about 2:00 yesterday afternoon. My wife and I shared a sampler platter to try some of your best stuff. We were unfortunately disappointed as the 1/4 chicken was completely dry, and the ribs were actually dry as well. The brisket was good at least. However, I feel like we got scraps from the day before, because there’s no way freshly smoked meat would be like that considering your moniker. I smoke on my smoker several times a week, and I’ve never had chicken or ribs like that. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. I feel like we got cheated. Literally, we were the only ones in the restaurant! Wish we would have skipped this place. Don’t believe the hype!

Super cute spot to stop by. Open all day long for continuous service. We sat inside. Ac was a good addition on the hot humid day. Service was very good and prompt. Sandwiches and lunch boxes are great and size generous. Mango tango and banana frozen cocktails were very refreshing. Free loop bus 7f stops right in front of the venue.

The sandwiches here were delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really enjoyable. There was live music that wasn’t overwhelming so we could still enjoy our conversation. We all had an appetite for some great sandwiches and decided to visit a cute little restaurant with outdoor seating just blocks from the river front in Savannah. Zunzi's was perfect for us and the food was fantastic plus the manager Brandi stopped by our table just checking on everyone so we let her know what a great job our waitress was doing and how excellent the flavors and sauces tasted. The colorful umbrellas and the breeze we were enjoying made our experience even more pleasant. Thank you for being the perfect spot! ❤️Oh and the peach rooibos-black tea was fabulous!!

Been coming since it was a literal hole in the wall named Zunzi's from over a decade ago. Sierra and Brad are the best, super nice and friendly and the food and sauces is always even better than we remember everytime we come!

As a Savannah local, I could not have been more disappointed to open my to go box to discover the drastic changes that have occurred to the menu. I genuinely thought my friends were overreacting about the menu changes, but wow. Zunzi’s has been an absolute favorite spot of mine since high school, and the only consistent restaurant I will go out of my way to go to. I have always brought out of town friends to Zunzi’s and have always had it at the top of my recommendation list for restaurants. However, seeing that the Conquistador is suddenly about half as full as it was just a couple of weeks ago with less sauce is more than disappointing. I do not see myself returning to Zunzi’s or recommending it any longer if there is not a clear reversal to go back to the Zunzi’s of old. Disappointed is an understatement. RIP to the Zunzi’s we once knew and loved.

About a.Lure- 3✨ This had potential to be a better dining experience but fell flat. Atmosphere: I took my daughter for a Mommy/Daughter date in Savannah. After countless restaurants turning us away because they were fully booked- we stumbled upon this restaurant. The decor was inviting and we were seated near the back of the restaurant..Directly behind us was a table of teenagers...yeah. Service: I wonder if all the staff were newly hired as no one seemed to understand guest services. The staff behaved as if this was the very first restaurant service and it made for an awkward dining experience. There was a lot of attention to the kids and very little attention to other guest...not a great start. Additionally, one server was a bit dazed and not fully present- very strange interaction. However our server was lovely, she was attentive and competent. Food 3✨ We started with the crab cake and duck egg rolls. The duck was cooked to perfection in the egg rolls and they were loaded. The tangy mustard BBQ sauce provided an unexpected but pleasurable twist to the duck confit, this was a win. The crab cakes were flavorful- but smelled strong, however I did not care for the sauces- Entrees: My daughter had the Wagyu burger, she said it was good and she enjoyed the truffle fries. I ordered the Pork Shank w/goat cheese grits. I wanted to love this dish, sadly it was left on the plate. The grits tasted as of they were days old, they were both chunky, under cooked, and runny. Just a terrible mouth feel. I didn't taste goat cheese, rather the grits tasted like ketchup. The pork was tender and cooked beautifully. However, the sauce did not pair well with the pork leaving a bland taste. Overall, this was an underwhelming meal. Sadly, the staff noticed that one of the kids behind us did not enjoy his meal and offered him something different. We did not have this courtesy extended to us.. Consistency is key. Your staff rolled out royal treatment for one table and left the other to be rained upon. This unsuspecting little restaurant on West Congress Street has been on my list of places to visit for well over a two years now but I kept putting it off in favor of other restaurants. Truthfully, a bit of my hesitation had to do with the mixed reviews I'd seen online. But I was determined to check this spot off of my list so I jumped. First, the atmosphere is lovely. The place has the ambiance of a fine dining restaurant with touches of artwork showcasing local scenes. The entire scene was clean and inviting and I instantly liked it. Next, a host greeted us and ushered us to our reserved table. The waitstaff was exceedingly friendly and delightful and, on the whole, the most pleasant part of the experience. We ordered our appetizers, the duck egg roll and rabbit ravioli and they were so delicious! There was no hint of gamey flavor about the rabbit at all. Absolutely no complaints! Unfortunately, this is where things begin to take a bit of a turn. After the appetizers, I ordered a red wine to go with the main entree that I had ordered…the wine arrived and the main did not. I was approached by one of the servers and told that they were preparing a batch of the braised pork shank I’d ordered but it would be a long time before it was ready and inquired if I would like to order something else. I went with the stuffed trout and continued to sip my merlot which, now, would not be with red meat but instead fish. Oh well, small bump. Our entrees arrived and my partner was unhappy because his swordfish was very dry. I asked if he wanted to say something to the waitstaff but he declined. He didn’t want to make a fuss. However, it soon became an unavoidable situation as I took a fork full of my stuffed trout and out came a long strand of hair. The staff were honestly very accommodating and offered to subtract the cost of my meal from the ticket, provide me with a replacement complimentary meal and a complimentary dessert. I passed on the complimentary meal but I decided to give the dessert (cheesecake) a try and it was lovely. My partner honestly has no desire to return and I left feeling very much deflated, with good reason. Will I give a.Lure another chance to get it right in the future? I’m not sure but from location, to atmosphere to service, this restaurant has everything going great for them…except, unfortunately, some of the food.

This was our first time to A Lure and it didn't disappoint. We were kindly greeted and seated right away. The atmosphere was upscale and pleasant. Our waiter, Christopher was personable and well versed. His recommendations were on point. They had a nice selection of wine as well as a full bar. A.lures menu had plenty of options. The deconstructed duck ravioli was a nice experience. All the flavors packed a punch and the sauce was fantastic. We also had the crab cake for an app. Which was plated with 2 sauces including a Wasabi cream and a sort of mango chutney. I had to try the peas and carrots which are a staple here. It lived up to the hype with 3 huge scallops along with a risotto. The sauce was a pea puree. If you like peas and carrots you'll love this dish. My better house had the days special which was seared Ahi Tuna. Both dishes will be hard not to order next time but the menu is plentiful and I will have to try the shrimp and grit along with the pork shank next time. Overall I am very please and intend on inviting friends and family here next time we dine.

So good! Jordan’s service was excellent—he has such a great personality. My cocktail and meal were both great. At first I side eyed the size of my crab cakes but it really was the perfect appetizer—great flavor and didn’t get me stuffed before dinner. Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant. Pleasant waitstaff. All of our food was delicious. Deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes for appetizer. Eggs were super creamy with vinegar notes, fried green tomatoes perfectly cooked with a delicious dressing. Main course was the braised pork shank which was so tender and juicy, the meat fell off the bone. Side dish was mashed potatoes and asparagus. My friend had the roasted chicken breast and she also raved that it was delicious. Plan to take your time here and enjoy the atmosphere and tastey cocktails. The lemon drop Martini with Grey goose vodka was also mixed perfectly. Highly recommend.

Nothing negative to say. The food and service was impeccable. Highly recommended for any occasion. Priya was amazing!!! They do fried green tomatoes right...not overly battered or cut too thick. The seafood is local, fresh, and served creatively. Don't eat too much of their amazing homemade rolls and biscuits or else you won't have room. LOL Honestly.... nothing bad on this menu. 2025-02-11 Went for breakfast today, server was really nice. Had the big bubba, biscuits and gravy with eggs and fruit. The biscuits were really good, just a little salty for me but good. Went a second day also and had the benedict with crab cakes. It wasn't as good as the biscuits and gravy. The eggs were hard, and there is a lot of breading in the crab cakes. If I were them I'd skip the english muffin and just do the crab cake (a little thicker) in place of the english muffin.

Super disappointed. Just left here. Was really excited to come in based on reviews and online menu. Had my heart set on "blueberry crunch cakes" which are blueberry pancakes with granola that our waitress made a point to say is homemade and so delicious! My partner and I ordered the same thing, his with grits and mine with potatoes. Well, as I said at the beginning, we're both very disappointed. The pancakes were...not much. My two pancakes had a total of nine blueberries between them and maybe two tablespoons of granola on top. Not exactly what we were expecting with the advertised name and the description that says "fortified with country granola" (makes it sound like it will be cooked into the pancakes, not just barely drizzled on top). For the sides, my potatoes were overcooked and tasted like they came straight from the freezer and into a skillet and then to the plate, no seasoning or salt or anything. My partner said his grits ($1 upcharge that wasn't mentioned for a bit of cheese on top) tasted like instant and were "sliceable" in texture. Two stars because our eggs were cooked well. Our server asked how we liked the food, I said "it's ok" and she just walked off. Oh, and please update your online menu, our meals were $5 more each than the listed prices. I get it, costs have gone up and a small difference can be expected, but this meal was 50% more than we were expecting. $40 for two meals, no drinks, and a lot of disappointment. Would have done better eating the complimentary breakfast at our hotel this morning.

We were a party of 4 Sunday morning at 10. We were promptly seated and our server, Destiny, introduced herself. All four of our dishes came out cold with the exception of the 4th person who ordered something in a skillet (that was blazing hot). Fodd might have been better if it was hot, or even warm but the service was so great we didn't complain.

Such a nice break from all the heavy foods of the area. Everything was fresh and light which made walking and exploring after that much better! Had the pineapple upside down smoothie and it was such a delightful surprise that it genuinely tasted like fruit and not desert. So refreshing.

Food was good, service was very slow. Waited more than 35 minutes from order to get food and wasn’t that busy. Quite loud when smoothies are being made. Cuban sandwich was very good. So were the tots.

Absolutely enjoyed our meals! I got a salad that was loaded with cucumber, kalamata, tomatoes and quinoa with hummus and warm pita. Delicious! My husband got the jerk. Chicken sandwich with side salad. He loved it! Service was very fast and pleasant. It is small and tables somewhat tight but it's not loud. My husband and I easily carried on our conversation. We will definitely be back! Thanks for providing something healthy!!

My daughter and I were looking for something somewhat healthy in midtown found this place. We were happily welcomed in and seated. There were so many awesome choices both vegan and not vegan. I chose the Lime Chicken Enchiladas which were sooooo delicious! My daughter ordered the half sandwich and half salad which was just what she was looking for. We also had the strawberry banana smoothie, yummy! We loved this place so much we came back again a few days later! I could have ordered something different but those lime chicken enchiladas were sooooo delicious, I had to get it again!
Cynt — Google review
The food was amazing. I had the Enchiladas, two of them with the flour tortilla and one of them with the corn tortilla. Was not a fan of the side sauces; mustard base on one and a sauce that tastes like buffalo (only because im not a fan of mustard and buffalo haha so that isnt a negative ding).

Great food. Great service. Healthy meals crafted with carefully considered ingredients. I had the amazing mushroom spinach tacos. Delicious!

Great food, Great Service!! We enjoyed our anniversary together at this restaurant on New Years Eve. The food and service were first class. The food was excellent. Very clear it was prepared by a great chef.

Wow! My husband made reservations here and I am so glad he did! It is a quaint and romantic setting, our server was fantastic, our cocktails were phenomenal, the food was absolutely eloquent. Our appetizers were wonderful. We had the scallops and braised beef for our main course and they were beautifully plated and perfectly prepared. We indulged in French press espresso (amazing!!) and triple chocolate cake (wow!). My husband is a Globally Certified Master Chef with extremely high standards and we will be back when in Savannah again. We highly recommend Noble Fare.

We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary at Noble Fare and were truly impressed. The ambiance was intimate and elegant, and the service was top-tier—especially from Emma, who made our evening feel personal and memorable. The braised beef short rib was rich and perfectly tender, while the coffee-rubbed pork tenderloin offered a deliciously unique flavor. We left feeling genuinely satisfied and appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone looking to mark a special occasion in style.

I rounded up to a five, but my steak was supposed to be medium (because this was the first time eating here) and it had to go back as it was just seared on the outside with a cold uncooked center. They fixed it and it was very good so I was happy. Not sure how that happened. Service and atmosphere were both great and we did like the extras our server did for our 30th anniversary. It's a neat place with a historical look and great service.

Expensive but so worth it… Us locals know it’s one of those Savannah restaurants that actually make really good food without the touristy hype aspects. Great service too! No parking around since it is located in Savannah’s Historic South District, but there are several parking garages nearby.

It's my birthday weekend and it's off to a great start with dinner at Noble Fare! Our waiter Scott was absolutely amazing!! The food and atmosphere matched his service. The presentation of the food was top notch, the food was filling but not heavy and we loved that, & it was just enough. I wanted a mocktail but didn't really know what to order so I told Scott to surprise me and it hit 10 out of 10. Compliments to the chef, bartender, & Scott! They did a fantastic job. You've got to visit. You cannot go home and not stop here. Make reservations and be amazed 🧡🧡🧡.

Southern restaurant (US)
Restaurant
Husk Savannah, a sister to its successful outposts in Charleston, Greenville, and Nashville, opened in 2018. The restaurant is located in the heart of Savannah's historic district and offers a Southern-inspired menu that changes daily based on seasonal availability. The dishes celebrate the region's bounty with ingredients sourced from local and regional farmers. The restaurant is housed in a landmark mansion with porch seating and features a large dining room filled with colorful artwork.
The entire experience was amazing. Atmosphere: this restaurant is in a house built in the 1800s. It's been through some different things. A ballroom (now dining room) was added. There was a fire so things had to be repaired. It's stunning! Our server, David, was excellent - knowledgeable and attentive. They have a rotating menu. Everything we ate was outstanding. Put it on your list.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and had a fantastic evening. The service and the food were exceptional and the kitchen made my wife feel very special. The whole fish with the wood fire smokiness was my favorite. A great night had by all. Thank you team Husk for such a great night.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we are so glad we did! This was the most delicious meal either of us have ever had! The paddle fish roe is delectable, the oysters were divine and the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had! We also got a side of collard greens and I didn't know they could have that much flavor! Between the atmosphere, service and food this place scores a 10/10 in our book! We will definitely be back to dine here again!
Lindsay B — Google review
Husk is great if you like the farm to table vibe. Not real great options for menu choices, smaller unique menu. Smaller plates and very $$$$. Got the ribeye for $150 and wasn’t that impressed. Grits was banging though. Inside is stunning. Very old English building. Nice to go once.
Bri J — Google review
My husband and I were in town for a concert and decided to try Husk. We sat in the main dinning room upstairs which was stunning yet cozy, even with this large room they were able to make it feel intimate. We started with a hibiscus infused old-fashioned which may sound odd, but the subtle floral infusion turned a classic cocktail into something truly special.. We shared the coal fired chicken, which may sound simple, but the sauce and side made it a wonderful combination. The shrimp and grits was a bit too rich for me but my husband thought it was some of the best he’s had. What really made the evening was our server Kelly. His knowledge of the menu, wine, and cocktail list was exceptional. It was like having a pairing dinner. He introduced us to some wines that we would not have considered. The highlight was desert. Kelly suggested an apple brandy to accompany the cheesecake with an amazing crust, topped with fresh cream and poached pears. The pears, chessecake and brandy combo was the perfect ending to our meal. We can’t wait to return on our next visit and will definitely ask for Kelly.

A must in Savannah! We visited the Charleston location and actually preferred this one. Located in an historic home, Husk offers amazing food and a great atmosphere. We had Kelly as our waiter and he was the best! One of our favorite waiters we’ve ever had. He was personal and gave great recommendations for us in the area. - they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy.

The food, service and atmosphere could not have been better. We've frequented the Charleston staple and very much miss the Greenville Husk. This was our first visit to Husk Savannah. Our expectations were high but they were met.

Loved our experience at Husk. Our server Beth made everything on the menu sound delicious! We tried the pimento cheese appetizer and the French toast biscuits - the biscuits were my favorite of the two, so yummy! I had the fried chicken. It was good but I will try something else on my next visit. The Husk mimosa was great as well!

Jamaican restaurant
Restaurant
Sweet Spice Restaurant is a charming eatery located in Midtown Savannah, offering a delightful fusion of Jamaican and American comfort foods. The restaurant is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, with the Jamaican owners ensuring that guests feel right at home. The menu features an array of delectable options, including traditional Caribbean dishes like jerk chicken, curry goat, beef stew, and salt fish, as well as fried shrimp, hot wings, and beef ribs.
This is a great alternative to the craziness in the historic district! We got two meat sampler meals because we just couldn't choose what we wanted. Fortunately, everything was awesome! Our favorites were the ox tail and goat curry, make sure you get the rice and peas for all the delicious sauce! We were the only ones eating in the tiny restaurant but they had a ton of people coming in and out for to-go orders. The staff is also friendly and welcoming to all! The pineapple ginger drink is also worth noting, we bought two more to-go for mixing with Rum later. 😋 Enjoy! This one is not to be missed. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this helpful!)

My go to for Jamaican food in Savannah! I got the small oxtail plate with mac and cheese & rice and peas. I’ve been coming here for a while now via their food truck but was my first time stopping in their physical location. I was in and out within 5 minutes!

We arrived in Savannah, hungry and searched around for something to eat. Restaurant stood out with good review and we decided to check it out. We got there around 4pm on a week day and we couldn’t find parking. Since this was our first time, we couldn’t take chances with being towed. Drove around and found parking about three blocks down. Restaurant was small spaced with about four tables. It was busy and ordering was quick. Staff were pleasant. We ordered (1) large oxtail with rice/peas and Mac and cheese; (1) large brown stew chicken with rice/peas and Mac and cheese; carrot cake, and pineapple soda. We didn’t feel comfortable eating at the restaurant because it was kinda small with people waiting in the restaurant for their food. Brown stew chicken wasn’t what we were expecting, but the sauce was really good. The oxtail sauce wasn’t it for me. It wasn’t good. Carrot cake was mehn, ended up thrashing it and the oxtail menu. Hubs was too hungry to care less, typical male, lol. Finished his food. Portion size was decent but food didn’t meet my expectation.
Jax D — Google review
Not the most aesthetically pleasing however the food was amazing and the price was very cheap compared to home (SC). The lady taking my order seemed to be upset that I ordered a double on oxtails but the combo i ordered said 3 meats. Mac n cheese was not what I thought it would be. However the rice and peas and oxtails (chefs kiss) Overall it was a great restaurant to order from for takeout and on my next trip I will be visiting again.
Patrice W — Google review
6 pieces of SPLIT OXTAILS is what I got for 21.99 I could've went to an American restaurant for a steak the exact same animal. BUT as always the food is great but not worth the drive and the food portion. My card number were punched in then chip inserted. If my account is hacked I will notify authorities .

I’ve been looking for good Jamaican food here in Savannah, Georgia for quite a while and I finally hit the jackpot. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic as it gets. I’ve been telling everyone about this place and I cannot wait to return.

I ordered two sampler plates . This the first time I've gotten food and have very dissatisfied. The cabbage wasn't seasoned and there were no carrots in it . The brown stew chicken had a slight flavor it . The ox tail and gravy tasted super sweet. The curry shrimp was the only goog thing. Very unhappy after spending almost 55 for two meals.
Nicole R — Google review
Great place to get Jerk Chicken on a buffet. The cabbage and Mac & Cheese are great sides. The service is just so so. The unsweetened ice tea was sweet but because it was labeled unsweetened I was wrong. Good thing the buffet is self serve. Nice ambiance here.

Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market, nestled within the Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, offers a stylish dining experience with a focus on using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. One of their standout dishes is the raclette burger, where a juicy patty is generously topped with melted raclette cheese tableside.
Visited Jan and Feb 2025. Went into this restaurant twice with reservations! We got Callie as our server both times, and the service was exceptional. Drinks were well made, and one off menu drink request (but was a dark and stormy) was made with no issues. Food options are great, and delicious. Just enough to not be too small, or a single plate too big to enjoy the other options. Quality ingredients, and a good balance of salt/sugar/spices. Will definitely suggest a reservation. We will be coming back to go again.

We have had two wonderful meals while staying here at the Perry Lane hotel. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with attentive and friendly service. The escargot and fried green tomatoes were our favorite! The next morning we enjoyed a lovely brunch with so many menu selections, depending on your taste. Hopefully, you are lucky enough to be seated at Eric’s (“Shorty”), table! He is so charming and attentive. He elevated what was already a wonderful experience. Trust me, you’ll be tempted to ask him to sit down and dine with your party. Natasha, the restaurant manager also came by to say hello and ensure we were enjoying our meal.

Eric aka Shorty was the BEST!!!! He was busy working between our table of 14 and another big party….he was on top of it! He made excellent suggestion such as the Beef Hash (which was delicious)! I also had the banana foster French toast and that was amazing! My husband had the omelette with ham. I definitely will come again when I’m in town.

Went here Saturday evening. It was a bit busy/noisy due to a wedding party waiting for the reception. Sat at the end of the bar and was greeted pretty quickly. Was able to get there for happy hour. Ordered 2 cocktails (old fashioned) which were spectacular and was able to get them quickly despite it being busy. While sitting the glass rinser broke and spilled over the counter more to the area I was sitting. The staff and other customers were helpful in cleaning up the mess & was just able to laugh about it afterwards. It was repaired while there and all was well & very apologetic which again is no fault of their own. Food. Ordered a cheese board during happy hour which was huge! You get 3 different cheeses, large amount of grapes, jam, mustard, walnuts, crackers, and cornichons. They were really good. (Pic was after half was eaten) lol. This is a great option for sharing with others or just snacking on over time. Went during burger bash which they have a fantastic special. As a burger lover it's hard tk find a good tasting burger. The burger (El jefe) was immaculate! It was juicy cooked to the perfect temp, the taste of the aioli, mushrooms & arugula went sooo well together. The surprise was a delicious crispy cheese disk which added another depth and texture. Only negative the bun was a bit hard. The fries were crispy and salted perfectly. Overall experience even with the mishap was 10/10! Jeff & Bryan were great and super attentive and funny. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We had such a wonderful experience at Kitchen Emporium in Savannah, Georgia! Eric provided exceptional service from start to finish. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable — even helping keep our two-year-old entertained, which made a huge difference. Eric also gave us great food recommendations, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our favorite was the Peach Waffles. The rest of the staff was equally attentive — our coffee and water were always filled, and plates were promptly cleared as we finished our meal. It really showed how well the whole team works together to make guests feel welcome. It’s rare to find both amazing food and such thoughtful, attentive service. We’ll definitely be back!

Maple Street Biscuit Company is a casual cafe that offers a delightful array of biscuit sandwiches and Southern sides for breakfast and lunch. Established in 2012, this eatery prides itself on creating a fun breakfast experience while ensuring the meals are hearty and made from scratch.
This place was a pleasure to visit! Both me and my husband got the bold bowl hash with all the goods. The goats cheese was heavenly and paired so well with all the other ingredients. The biscuits were soft and buttery on the inside and perfectly crunchy plus just the right bit of salty on the outside! The paired it with a liquidity grape flavored jelly that I thought was a bit too sweet. That was the only thing I could have lived without! Great place for breakfast or brunch!
Hannah ( — Google review
Didn’t realized that this restaurant was a chain upon first visiting. Now understanding that better helped me with my expectations of Maple Street. The biscuits are very good, not the best I’ve had in the south but hit all of the classic requirements. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are the better item on the menu, but still aren’t much more than a good biscuit with the egg and bacon. The chicken and waffles aren’t anything crazy. The restaurant is really nice to sit in inside especially with them having upper level seating if it ever got really busy.
Abbrielle L — Google review
Great service-friendly and accurate. Food order was ready quickly. Just OK food. Espresso machine was not working so ordered coffee bar. Lots of coffee selections but the one I selected wasn’t hot and there only 1 milk or creamer option was available. Good location but space could use cleaning-sticky table and dirty floor even though I was there just after opening time.
LoAnn A — Google review
This is one of my favourite go-to spots for breakfast in Savannah. This was my first time visiting on a Sunday, and honestly, the service was 👎🏽. Usually the person taking the order is super nice and friendly, and the food comes out hot without too long a wait. But this Sunday was really slow—even with plenty of help in the kitchen. Maybe the team just wasn’t feeling the team spirit. I love ordering the Squawking Goat 😋. The chilli sauce gives it just the right gentle kick. I also liked the maple vanilla latte—light and smooth maple flavor that paired well with the heavier biscuit. A must-try, but don’t expect true Savannah hospitality 🥹🫢🤭.

Great place to grab traditional southern biscuits and breakfast in Savannah. The staff was friendly in courteous, attentive even though it was a busy morning. It took a while to get the food but understandable and the food more than made up for it. We ordered a biscuits with gravy, mushroom and also tried the fried green potatoes and they were all really good. Portion size is pretty decent and You could split two orders between 3 adults. We'll visit again

We beat the rush but the line moves pretty fast. You order and they call your name and you pick your food up. My wife had a drip coffee light roast and it was too strong. I had fresh squeeze OJ (5.99) it was good. Tacos were tasty and wife had vowl and it looked amazing. I would eat here again for sure.

This place was lively, chaotic and worth the wait. Fried green tomatoes were amazing. First time having them and I cannot wait to have them again. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The fresh orange juice was tasty and refreshing.

Biscuits were very good. Being a Southern girl myself didn't really care for the gravy and the hash browns had a bit too much garlic for me. But the customer service was great and we received our food in just a few minutes.

I was visiting for just one night and choose to walk here. Very beautiful but the place was empty at 8 on a Sunday. Could be blamed on my bad hearing but when I was offered distilled water, I wasn't anticipating 9.00 for that. My very saucy pasta came and I ask for a little bread, 4.00 was added to my bill for a slice of bread with butter... The lobster pasta had 5 or 6 bits of lobster claw/ peices.. the sauce was nice and the pasta cooked perfectly. The waitress had a very strong accent that was hard for me to understand. When I questioned the 4.00 slice of bread, they did take it off my bill. I too my souvenir 9.00 glass bottle of water with me.

We just visited the Rhett for the first time this past weekend, and WOW, they did not disappoint. We went for brunch around Noon and were surprised it wasn't packed, considering it was the July 4th weekend. We were seated at the bar immediately, and the bartender was a pleasure to work with. He made us some fantastic drinks and kept our water glasses filled. The food itself was splendid! I had the chicken and waffles while my wife had the loaded grits bowl. Please do yourself a favor and TRY IT! The restaurant itself is gorgeous and has been decorated classily. They had several parties of more than 6, so they can certainly accommodate your family brunch needs. Next time you're down by River Street, stop by.

Tonin is super nice and attentive with great recommendations! The shrimp and grits had a good portion of fresh shrimp with creamy grits and the grouper was seared perfectly. The oysters were so fresh and also tasty. The calamari breading was bit salty but still flavorful. I’d return for the shrimp and grits alone. Would definitely want to try more items on the menu!

This restaurant needs to have a higher rating!! After a week of staying at the hotel, I've had a week's worth of breakfasts/brunches here & tried 80% of the menu. Every single dish is delicious & fresh. Some dishes are on the smaller side by American standards, so just double check with your waiter if super hungry (or get the omlette - it's huge). Staff are very attentive, friendly & well trained. They genuinely look like they want to be there, which is so rare these days. The whole operation runs so smoothly. Even on Sunday when every table was filled, they managed to get my order out in under 15minutes. Amazing! (ps their beignets on dinner menu are to die for!)

The Fitzroy is an upscale American pub offering a blend of elegant and casual vibes in Savannah's historic building. It features a stylish interior dining room and an open-air rooftop with Melbourne-inspired pub food, signature cocktails, craft brews, and wines. This restaurant stands out among the nicest restaurants in Savannah for its Australian-influenced cuisine, making it a unique dining experience in the American South.
We were attending a conference downtown at River Street and wanted to get off of the beaten path and try something different. We found The Fitzroy and the reviews and pictures looked delicious. So, we made a reservation and we are so glad that we did. Everything was fantastic and very unique in a delightful way. We sat on the rooftop and just had an enjoyable meal. Zach took great care of us and we highly recommend giving this restaurant a go if you enjoy really great food.

A fun slightly hidden location in Savannah it’s also part of the southern Cross hospitality group that owns Collins quarter and couple and a couple other Savannah spots. We’ve now been here a couple times, recommend a reservation as there’s not a ton of seating, especially during meal times. The cocktails and drinks are always great and the service is superb just like their other establishments. The food was also good. The only drawback is that it took a while for us to get it for only a group of four and two of the four dishes were pretty cold by the time we got them. It’s one thing to let a steak rest for a little bit, but to get a cold pork chop or chicken is definitely less appealing considering the price you pay. The flavors were good, which made the meal redeemable. Really, the dessert which was the caramel crunch bread-pudding, and bourbon fudge is what closed it out for us in a strong way.

Ate here for a private group dinner and had an amazing time, all handled very well by our sever Steve. The starters and sides are all great, with favorites being the eggplant dip and meatballs. The fried flounder was amazing, and the swordfish was good as well. The Bees in the Trap cocktail was pretty good as well.

Absolutely wonderful, the ambiance, food and service was immaculate.. My server Audo was so attentive, had wonderful knowledge of the menu, and had great recommendations along with his own personality adding to the experience. 10 out of 10 recommend.. Forget to take before eating!!

Wow, what a wonderful place!! Zack was absolutely incredible — very kind, hospitable, and had fantastic recommendations! We had the 1/2 chicken, surf and turf, and bread pudding. It was absolutely fantastic and we look forward to visiting again someday.

The food was good, but my Bourbon Sour came in a really small glass. The sourdough with the spicy butter is a must way better than the one it normally comes with (thanks to Otto, our server, for the great recommendation!). We both ordered burgers; my fiancé asked for bacon but didn’t get it in the end. Overall, it was okay but not amazing.

I've been here three times now. The first 2 times were really awesome. They staff was very attentive and accommodating and the food and drinks were so good. It seems now like they limited their menu, which is no problem at all, but if you are only doing a couple items then they should be good. My wife and I sat at about 715. Took about 20 mins for drinks and apps, no problem because they are busy. The drinks were great and the app was pretty good. Our waiter didn't refill our water for about an hour- hour and a half. At about 8:30 they came to tell my my food was ready but my wife's was not, so I decided to wait till hers was ready. We both ordered the same thing, steak fries, mine was medium hers was medium well. They finally came about 845. Which is a crazy timeline for 2 people sitting down at 715. But they are busy so I'm not making a big deal. The steak was honestly pretty bad. My wife couldn't eat hers because the sauce was insanely strong with peppercorns. Like they just dumped peppercorns on the steak, it was wild. Mine was super chewy and fatty, which the fat was white so I know it was cooked improperly. Also it made my stomach hurt a bit. It wouldn't be a big deal if we payed $20 for the steak but for $50 it should be good. Especially after waiting so long. If you are going to charge high dollar for steak then just make it worth it because people are spending hard earned money. And the staff seemed like they really did not care about us at all. So many people got food and drinks before us, nobody even asked if we needed anything till we got our food. They just set us and totally forgot about us. It's just sad because this place was so awesome the last 2 times. I would say if you are looking for a restaurant, just try somewhere else. It seems like it's following the pattern of Savannah restaurants, starting strong and falling off a cliff after 2-3 years. I was a server downtown for 6 years so I understand the struggles of being busy and having a hard time but this was just unacceptable.

The food was great but what made the experience was the waiter. It is amazing how the staff can make or break an experience. I would go back here 100 times just based on how friendly and upbeat the waiter was

Electric Moon Skytop Lounge + Moon Deck is a vibrant rooftop venue situated in the JW Marriott Hotel, offering stunning views of the Savannah River. It's a lively spot with neon lights and live music, creating a nightclub-like atmosphere. The Moon Deck, accessible via a spiral staircase, provides an adult playground with lawn games and gathering spaces. The bar serves an array of signature cocktails, beer, wine, and small plates for sharing.
This is one of the best bars in Savannah! It’s a great rooftop bar perfectly situated on River Street for perfect views. The outdoor patio is mostly covered and there’s an inside bar with a little live music. There’s also a large outdoor rooftop bar area on a lower level on the other side of the building that you can get to via stairs or a fun little slide. They had a full live band going out there plus games like cornhole. This was clearly the coolest, most popular hangout for those in the know. There is a $10 cover charge and if you get there early, you can avoid the line. There is an elevator ride up to the top.

The location is spectacular and the views are wonderful. Service and atmosphere five stars because I would return. I just would not order an espresso martini again. The espresso martini is made with an espresso mixer so much sweeter than a typical espresso martini. The staff, however, 5/5 they were wonderful very helpful. Very respectful, great atmosphere.

Electric Moon Skytop Lounge had a great ambience for our large wedding party. Service was decently fast, even with a crowd. Drinks were a little pricey, but we enjoyed the Moonlight Mirage, Blackout, and vodka white tea shots. Perfect spot for a fun night out with a view.

I love this place, went for Saturday brunch, and I thought it was awesome. The staff is fantastic. There was Robert the magician, a sketch artist which made a great portrait of my friends and I, Dave the bartender, William, Marissa, the manager all provided a great service. We had a really good time. Everyone was really friendly. The food was phenomenal, especially the roasted vegetables which is a shocker. There was a great peanut butter chocolate tart too for dessert, music was fantastic. What a great time and beautiful views.

Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar is a beloved spot in Savannah, offering stunning views of the Savannah River and the riverwalk area. Located at the vibrant Plant Riverside District, this rooftop garden provides a romantic and lush atmosphere. Guests can savor handcrafted shareable bites and botanically inspired cocktails while taking in the breathtaking scenery of Savannah and the river. It's an ideal place to enjoy lunch, dinner, or drinks while soaking up the city's beauty from above.
This rooftop bar is a gorgeous space! Reservations were needed for the seating in the garden. But, the indoor seating is equally comfortable and beautiful. The views of the river are the real winners along with the fried chicken & french toast-a must try! The services was great and reasonably paced timing. I'm looking forwarding to visiting again. This was a great experience

I love the outdoor seating with rooftop view. The bartender was kind and genuine. He made delicious refreshing drinks. The duck breasts, I wouldn’t recommend. Still has a duck smell and strong taste. So I ordered pork belly buns and it was good. Buns served warmed and thick pork belly slices were well seasoned.

Loved the location and view. Watched a massive barge go by (pretty up close), so that was neat. Appetizers are small plate and delicious. I highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts and the Scallops (yuuuuum). The prosciutto wrapped pear was bland, but its placement on the Brie tried to provide a richness it needed. Perhaps a drizzle of balsamic or something additionally tart to add some dimension is my only suggestion. Service was pretty good. We did, however, watch the bartender simply hand a bar towel to a customer that was sitting in front of the cocktail shakers whose area had a puddle of water. He made absolutely no effort to wipe it up FOR the customer. Rinsing the shakers and then turning them upside down to drain on the bar right in front of patrons is not very strategic. This is a pretty upscale establishment, so the patrons are also dressing accordingly. No one wants to deal with their bar space feeling like a puddle, let alone having to clean it up themselves. (Gave 3 stars for that alone, but otherwise it was a solid 5 on their quick, friendly, attentive service. The puddle mess was simply a huge miss, and it wasn't even our mess to clean up.) Cocktails and wine averaged $16-20, which is comparable to all nicer establishments in Savannah. Very busy bar service. We'd definitely revisit this establishment again. Very romantic experience for couples. Lively and with live music. The back side of the bar is on River Street and a great place for a quick snapshot of the area.

Catalina and Matt were absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. The only thing that could top their service was the incredible food and drinks! We visited in the middle of the day and loved the lively yet relaxed atmosphere. We were there with our young son, and the staff went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and happy. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Crazy experience here, and I never give out one star reviews, but this felt necessary. My mother and I were walking down the street looking for a rooftop bar to stop in, we walked up to the bouncer and asked him if this was a rooftop bar and he looked us up and down and said “it’s reservation only.” I was so confused because I read online that you can make a reservation, but you didn’t need one, but we kept walking. On our way back down the street we walked into the hotel that sits at the base of the rooftop bar and I asked the Bell man if the rooftop bar is reservation only. He replied “ no, you’re welcome to go up and see if they have availability! The entrance is right around the corner!” so my mother and I walk back to the bouncer who denied us originally and he said “sorry we-“ then i interrupted and told him we had a reservation and he let us in the door. We took the elevator up to the top floor, where I told the hostess that we were a party of two without a reservation looking for a table and she seated us. I was so confused as to why the first bouncer had turned us away. We had not interacted with him previously, and I could have sworn it was based on the way we looked, maybe we didnt seem like fun people Im not sure, but for this reason, I would never return here.
Rachel B — Google review
Went to enjoy the rooftop bar and views with my bachelorette party and had an amazing time! Drinks were very good with selections from the restaurant as well as a full bar. Entertainment also made a visit to the table to help celebrate and performed some hand eye magic that was very fun to watch. With being right on the river it wasn’t too loud or crowded which made the atmosphere very pleasant! Would definitely go back!

Ordered delivery through UberEats. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and substituted the sauce for ranch which they didn't even put on the pizza they just sent in side containers😩 It was clearly states in the order notes and I wasn't expecting them to be so busy at 2:30pm that they would not read thoroughly. The BYO pizza was decent but SO MUCH CHEESE and very little sauce. First experience with them and I'm still on the lookout for a good pizza place in the Savannah area.

The selection was really great. I was very happy to see plant based cheese and "sausage"! The beer selection was great and the girl at the register made a great selection of Two Tides. The dining space is a little tight but overall the food was great and the employees were awesome. We enjoyed the Gelato too!

So, I'm a frequent customer here and familiar with management. However tonight when I went in to spend my money here I was totally disappointed in the customer service skills by not only the whole staff(clearly no management there tonight?) but Janet with the glasses rushed other employee, took my Food and Slammed in the oven toppings flew all over the place then was screaming at me like I did something wrong, took pictures of the pizza she slammed in oven and me. I'm never coming in here again, I'm telling everyone how I was treated as warning for this place. Thanks for saving me money! This is why businesses are closing because owners Allow people like this to Run their Business?

After eating lots of seafood on our trip to Savannah we decided to get a pizza for our last night. After reading several reviews on Yelp & Google we decided to try Your Pie. It feels a lot like "Blaze" but it was clear that they have higher quality ingredients. We had salads & pizza. The salads were fresh & crunchy. The pizza was not bad - it needed a few more minutes in the oven & to be turned, so that it would be crispy. Because it was undercooked & not turned some of the pieces were slightly doughy. The kids who work here weren't rude - but definitely not well prepared to work with the public. Not personable or friendly. Overall it was kinda "meh" .... Not bad ... not amazing. But just okay.

Cup to Cup Cafe is a charming and cozy coffee shop housed in a historic carriage house, offering a warm and communal atmosphere. The cafe prides itself on its commitment to ethical sourcing, with the owner having trained under skilled Guatemalan roasters. Their coffee comes from the Savannah-based specialty roastery, Cup to Cup. In addition to serving delectable treats made with locally sourced ingredients, the cafe also provides catering for small events.
I spent a day trip in Savannah from Florida. I’m normally a (basic lol) sweet iced coffee or frappe drinker. I decided to try something different and get their hot toasted marshmallow latte. I LOVED it. I’ve never had something so creamy, and it was the perfect amount of sweet. It was so good that I had to come back a few hours later to get another one for the road lol. Would definitely recommend this place!

One of my top five shops to hit while I’m in Savannah. Very engaging as soon as we walked in the door! Ordered a large latte with ristretto shots. The young man taking the order didn’t know what they were but the barista jumped right in and acknowledged what I wanted! The only problem that I saw with the shop was there was not a seat to enjoy their creation. Thank you for my morning cup!

I know at least two people know how to make amazing coffee here but today - decided for yourself. Very disappointing To reply to your request for more details: I enjoy your coffee place quite often but today I stopped by for a cappuccino, which is a treat for me if I have it. A young lady rushed through it, even though there were no people waiting, I was the only customer. When I saw the cappuccino l, I asked what happened to the regular design and whether she doesn’t do it. She said sometimes it’s hard. I was there and I saw she didn’t even try. She steamed the milk and just flopped it on top without tapping the steamer or getting rid of extra foam, or try to pour it with care. I treat myself to a cup of coffee at a coffee shop to enjoy the flavor and the art of it, otherwise I have amazing coffee at home that I can have any time. Thank you for reaching out to ask for more details. I shouldn’t have left and should have shared all my thoughts with her.

I'm an on the go individual. I appreciate an artful cup of coffee, and when it's produced with speed and accuracy. I stopped in and asked for a latte, and maybe 60 seconds later if that, had one of the best lattes I've had in my life. Between the in and out business, the atmosphere is awesome. Laid back, artful little shop you guys have here. I only stop into Savannah every couple of months on business, but I WILL be making it a point to come by here. Every. Single. Time. The woman working this morning was spectacular at her job and I regret not asking her name for this review. Thank you, Cup to Cup Cafe for letting me close out my business trip on a high note!

Overall, loved the experience! Employees were amazing at recommendations and questions, and I loved the open space. The quality of food is honestly me being nitpicky, but there was a good amount of loose leaf tea sitting at the bottom of my London fog, making the drink pretty bitter. My husband had also mentioned that his latte had very little frothed milk, and had a heavy coffee taste rather than the cinnamon toast flavor he had asked for. My strawberry salad was incredible. His French dip sandwich? Delectable. We will be returning to try out the smoothies.

My husband and I both ordered build your own breakfast sandwiches, the amount of customization is great. I ordered a latte and he a cortado. Food is made well, but it has NO seasoning on it which makes it a bit bland, and you have to disassemble your entire meal to put seasoning on it yourself. It also wasn't portioned out well so some bites were all egg and some had none. Coffee was so hot that by the time we completely finished our food and left, mine was still too hot to drink and burning my tongue. Nothing was 'bad' but nothing was great either. Overall just okay, but could easily be improved.

I stopped her when I was driving from New York to Florida! I stopped to get some peaches. I got a basket of peaches but they would not let me keep the basket that the peaches were in. That made me sad. Maybe it’s something I am not used too and that’s ok! The worker was nice and honest. She told me the peaches were from Florida! They were some good peaches! 🍑 I also got a cool peach key chain here for my car key! She also offered me peach cobbler, but I had to respectfully decline even though it was tempting! It was a great gift shop with many item(s) to choose from!

Lots of tasty treats. It would be nice to be able to buy or try just one peach before deciding to commit to the purchase of a whole basket or box. Jams and jelly used corn syrup. I prefer cleaner ingredients. The pecan butter spreads where super tasty. Some really nice gifts packages were available. And some cute souvenirs.

When we first parked, I honestly wasn’t sure about this place—the outside and the entrance could definitely use some cleaning, and the empty parking lot didn’t help. But once we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised! The store has a great variety of peach products—sweet, salty, and even alcoholic options. I really enjoyed the peach lemonade, though for me it was a little too sweet (I usually make it at home without sugar and it’s perfect). I also purchased peaches in almíbar, which I’ll be trying soon. The young woman attending us was amazing—very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to explain and offer samples of everything. Inside, the store was well organized and clean, although I did notice some random products that didn’t really fit the peach theme. Overall, it’s worth a stop if you’re nearby and want to explore unique peach-based products. 🍑✨

Sort of a hidden gem with the location, passed this restaurant often. Pleasant experience today. No wait, quick service, reasonable wait for the food. The food was good and affordable. This is one of a few places my S/O said he would return to. (Critiques very hard 🙂)

He is a nice mid price restaurant. Interior seating is a mix of booths and tables, both what’s your typical of mid range walk-in restaurants. The building is nice since by itself. Staff is very friendly, the food was good and serve really quickly. My wife had French toast which she truly enjoyed. I had a spinach and a Very good and what was interesting was the sausage which was spicy and had unique flavor. We will be going back.

Nice, large restaurant accomodating a breakfast buffet that includes biscuits and gravy, fruit, and all of what you associate with breakfast. We both got the Henry Combo for 13$ each. All parts were good. The pancakes were somewhat dry but other than that it was delicious!

We ventured to this place on a whim. It was a fantastic find and will return when in town again. Food was quick, hot and delicious. Service was equally as good and my drink cup never was empty. Burger was great- handpatted and thick. Grits were fantastic, even better than Metro Diners. Pancakes were devoured quickly. Philly cheese omelet was awesome.

I have come to this restaurant many times over the last 20 years I’ve lived here. However, today when I came to the restaurant with my daughter and granddaughter, the bacon had black spots on it and tasted nasty. When we brought it to the attention of the wait staff, they took it back to the restaurant owner who said that they were calling the supplier because it wasn’t acceptable to be delivered like this. The bacon had a nasty flavor. She brought out another plate of bacon to my daughter and granddaughter, which had no black spots, and both of them said it tasted extremely different. When we went to check out, I spoke to the owner, who assured me that the black spots was simply how it was delivered, and that it was cooked the same and there was no difference between the two. I assured her that in all the time we’ve come here that we’ve never had a problem with bacon with black spots and that we’ve never had a problem with the bacon being disgusting. I told her that if there was no difference between the two that they should’ve both tasted exactly the same. However, they did not. This is absolutely disgusting. Absolutely unacceptable and totally not Henry’s normal quality of food service. One star, one star, one star. Update: Then the manager came out to confront me about giving them a one star review, while I waited for the 3 year old to finish her fresh fruit. She said the black spots were due to how it was cooked, but couldn’t explain why they all didn’t have black spots and why the ones with the spots tasted bad. Funny hope the support changed from being brought in that way to being caused by the grill. Won’t ever be going back there.

Good food, simple place, nice service. Buffet is only on the weekends though. Cheesesteak was good, kind of small but good flavor.

Food was great and server was amazing. Breakfast buffet was available but because we were passing through, we opt for menu items. Price for buffet and menu items were great. Highly recommend

This is a good food, no frills, no BS type of place. They have a small buffet and it is popular, but I order something off the menu usually. There burgers look quite impressive. I have not had one yet.

If you're on the hunt for a laid-back spot to enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee, look no further than 912 Brew Coffee and Tea House. Nestled in Downtown Savannah, this charming establishment offers an inviting atmosphere where you can savor hot teas alongside an array of delectable pastries like croissants, muffins, and quiches. While they don't provide formal tea service, their handcrafted signature drinks such as The Grey Ghost and Southern Charm Chai are must-tries that will delight your taste buds.
Very charming coffee shop in the heart of Downtown Savannah. We tried the vanilla and lavender latte which is wonderful. Couldn't decide on pastries so we tried the cinnamon roll, apple fritter and chocolate croissant. Split all three and it did not disappoint. This is a must try as a tourist but glad we can visit often as locals ☕

This is the best coffee shop in Savannah! Seems like the owners really know what a proper coffee should taste like. If you like espresso, drip coffee or cold brew that will have a great taste, please go there! You can buy coffee beans there that are better than anywhere else in the town. Their shelves with local goods are amazing. If you are a tourist that will be the place to buy souvenirs that will be more meaningful and will support local business. If it’s sunny and warm out you can chill at their lovely patio. There is a restroom available for the customers.

My kind of coffee shop. Awesome local place in a great area of town with a beautiful courtyard in the back where people were drinking coffee. They have a huge variety of coffee drinks as well as small bites and retail. I had their house coffee with almond milk and it tasted like toasted hazelnut, very good. The owners were behind the counter and were super friendly. Couldn’t recommend the place more and looking forward to stopping by again next time I’m in town!

Awesome place on the Eastside of the city off of East Broughton! Great tea (Grey Ghost, Matcha Latte), and incredible chocolate muffin. Great place to sit, relax and unwind before getting back to tour-walking historic Savannah. Would definitely recommend, and will come here again next trip down to Savannah

Alex made my coffee, he was so helpful! He was patient when I was trying to decide which syrup to use and was so kind. One of the best coffees I've had in a while. They also have a rewards program. And more than all of that, this place is beautiful! I have been waiting for a coffee shop like this for so long. I'm so happy it's here!!! Such a vibe. Parking is off street but that's not an issue as there is plenty available. Entrance is to the left of Thompson's Chiropractic practice. Thanks to all of yall who helped create this gorgeous coffee shop for us locals to enjoy 🥰🥰🥰

My first coffee shop in Savannah and now my only coffee shop in Savannah. After I was unable to coherently describe my order for a latte I was guided to exactly what I was looking for and was not disappointed. Hot latte, excellent, cold brew, excellent, cinnamon roll, amazing. 10/10 would go again.

My wife and I both got Chai Tea Lattes as well as an everything bagel and loved them. Such a nice intimate atmosphere with seating outside and inside. Plenty of beautiful gifts and hand made mugs to get as well.
Jalen L — Google review
Nice quiet spot with an attractive outdoor seating area. Located on the east side of the historic district, this coffee shop overlooks a hidden and unexpected green space. Good selection of baked goods as well as drinks.
