The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is a significant site in Morocco, featuring the final resting place of King Mohammed V and the tombs of King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. The mausoleum showcases elegant Alaouite architecture with a striking green dome set against white marble.
We visited today and it was absolutely amazing. The design and decoration beyond imagination. The dome was spectacular. This is where King Mohammed V is buried with his two sons. It is free to enter. The guards are dressed in amazing uniforms. Just a spectacular site and a must visit when in Rabat. We loved our visit to see this historical location.

The Mausoleum of Mohammed V. The Mausoleum of Mohammed V in Rabat is one of Morocco’s most impressive modern monuments, combining spiritual significance with exceptional craftsmanship. Completed in 1971, it serves as the final resting place of King Mohammed V, the father of Moroccan independence, along with his sons King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. The site stands as a tribute to the royal family and the nation’s modern history. Built from white marble, the mausoleum is topped with a striking green tiled roof, symbolizing Islam. Its exterior is adorned with finely carved arches and intricate patterns, while the interior reveals breathtaking artistry. Visitors are greeted by ornate zellij mosaics, beautifully carved cedar wood ceilings, and detailed stucco work, creating an atmosphere of solemnity and grandeur. The mausoleum is open to the public, and visitors can admire the royal tombs from a balcony above the central chamber. Guarded by members of the Royal Guard in traditional uniforms, the site reflects both respect for heritage and national pride. Today, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V is not only a sacred place but also an architectural gem, blending Moroccan tradition with modern design. It remains a major attraction in Rabat, drawing those who wish to pay homage and experience the elegance of Moroccan artistry.
Lefteris S — Google review
The Mausoleum of Mohammed V in Rabat is a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture. The white marble, the intricate zellij tiles, and the cedar wood carvings reflect the country’s rich heritage. The atmosphere inside is calm, respectful, and very moving. Guards in traditional attire add to the solemnity and beauty of the place. It’s not just a historical monument, but also a symbol of Morocco’s modern history. A must-visit site in Rabat for both its cultural and spiritual significance.
Jamal S — Google review
The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is a truly magnificent site and one of Rabat’s most iconic landmarks. The architecture is stunning — a perfect blend of Moroccan craftsmanship and Islamic artistry, with intricate tilework, marble floors, and beautifully carved ceilings. Inside, the atmosphere is serene and respectful, honoring King Mohammed V and his sons, King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. The site is well maintained, and the guards in traditional uniforms add a ceremonial touch to the experience. A must-visit for anyone exploring Morocco’s royal and historical heritage.
Dema — Google review
This is where Mohammed V was buried and available to visit. The Mausoleum was designed by a Vietnamese and it has semblance of the Taj Mahal with white marbles and shapes. The place has many guards and they are friendly for photos. One of the best part of this place is the guards on horses and their exchanges. A nice ceremony if you can catch that changing of the horse guards.
C N — Google review
Interesting place, definitely worth a visit. I was impressed by the guards in their traditional uniforms. Unfortunately, we visited on a foggy and rainy day. Outside, there are street vendors who sell fresh orange juice and roasted nuts. The architecture is beautiful and fascinating both inside and out. There’s a huge, impressive fountain outside, though it’s fenced off and visibility is limited.
Tsvetelina D — Google review
I only got to see the Mausoleum of Mohammed V from the outside, but it was still an unforgettable stop. The white marble, green-tiled roof, and intricate carvings make it one of the most beautiful buildings in Rabat. Even from a distance, you can feel the importance of the place and the care put into every detail. It sits right next to Hassan Tower, and together they create one of the most striking sights in the city. The area feels peaceful and dignified, with guards in traditional uniforms and wide open courtyards that add to the atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting, even if you only view it from the outside.

Nestled in the heart of Rabat, the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI) stands as a beacon of Morocco's vibrant artistic landscape. Since its inauguration in 2014, this striking national museum has become a vital cultural hub, showcasing an impressive collection that spans both modern and contemporary art from local talents and international artists alike.
Very lovely museum. We visited a CoBrA exhibition, which had a lot of works that I had not seen before. The museum is very spacious and clean, the guards/attendants were helpful and friendly. The shop has a lot of books, most French and the small cafe has great coffee and some nice fresh juices. (💡If you're a student, bring your student card to receive a discount)

We arrived just after opening so it was not crowded at all. In fact most of the visit it was just the two of us. There was a wonderful photography exhibition in addition to the modern art and abstract paintings. There were some truly amazing pieces and it was fascinating to discover Moroccan artists that I had never seen before. If you are into modern and contemporary art then This is a must if you are visiting Rabat.
Andrew M — Google review
Good place to visit. If you love art you will like this museum. Good location, good exhibitions. Very modern, clean, big museum. Ticket price is affordable.
Anna T — Google review
Visiting this museum was one of the highlights of my time in Rabat. It feels like stepping into the pulse of modern Moroccan art. Inside, the collection spans from early 20th-century works up to today, with paintings, sculptures, photography, and new media. I loved seeing how the museum balances local talent and global influence. Each gallery moves you through Morocco’s evolving art story, and the lighting and layout let each piece breathe. It’s quiet, contemplative, and I had space to take my time. The plaques are informative, and you get enough context without it feeling like a textbook. I appreciated that the museum also hosts temporary shows and events. It felt alive. If you go, try to set aside at least an hour or more. Don’t skip the outdoor areas and the architecture itself. And if there’s a workshop or lecture happening, join it, those give extra depth to what you see on the walls. All in all, the Mohammed VI Museum is a must for anyone into art, culture, or modern Morocco. I walked away feeling I understood a little more about this place and its creative spirit.

Opened in 2014, the Mohammed VI Museum in Rabat is Morocco’s first major museum since 1956. It highlights modern and contemporary works by 200+ Moroccan artists, including icons like Hassan Hajjaj and Ahmed Yacoubi. A key stop for art lovers.

Beautiful museum. I really enjoyed the modern art. Some of the abstract art was a bit boring and I wish they had more , but good overall.

Small but great museum with Moroccan modern and contemporary art, mainly paintings. Also a very nice coffee bar/restaurant.

The Mohammed VI Museum is a must-visit in Rabat — beautifully designed and filled with stunning works from Morocco’s leading modern and contemporary artists. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, blending traditional influences with modern perspectives. The architecture itself is impressive, combining Moroccan motifs with sleek modern lines. Hassan Tower is a renowned 12th-century minaret in Rabat, Morocco. It was intended to be the world's largest minaret but remained unfinished after the death of its commissioner, Almohad emperor Yacoub al-Mansour. The red sandstone tower is adorned with hundreds of columns and stands opposite the mausoleum for King Mohammed V. The site also features white Moorish arches and intricate zellij patterns on its interior walls.
This is definitely worth a visit if you are in Rabat the tower itself is great with the Roman columns stretching before it. There is also the Mausoleum, which is beautifully ornate and decorated. It is free to enter and you can spend some Time chilling and sitting in the shade.
Andrew M — Google review
Excellent tourist site in Morocco. This landmark destroyed during an earthquake in Portugal that demolished this structure as well in Morocco. Some of the boundary wall remains. A separate mosque is now constructed to offer prayer.
Rajat C — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A breathtaking symbol of Rabat must-see! Visiting the Hassan Tower was one of the highlights of my trip to Rabat. The minaret dates from the late 12th century and was intended as part of an enormous mosque commissioned by Sultan Yaʿqūb al-Mansur work halted after his death, leaving the striking 44-metre tower and the rows of marble columns that mark the mosque’s original footprint. The setting is dramatic: the tower’s red stone rises above a wide, open esplanade dotted with column stumps that make for superb photos and a real sense of the scale that was planned. The intricate Almohad decorations on the tower and the calm, airy space around it give the whole complex a powerful, timeless atmosphere. It’s perfectly placed next to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the beautifully kept gardens you can easily visit both in one trip and the contrast between the medieval monument and the modern royal mausoleum is fascinating. Entry to the site is straightforward (many visitors report it as free), and the area feels safe and well maintained. Practical tips: aim for early morning or late afternoon for the best light and fewer crowds; wear respectful clothing if you plan to visit the mausoleum; allow around 45–90 minutes to wander, photograph and take in the views across Rabat. There are often local guides nearby if you’d like historical context. Overall I loved the Hassan Tower, it’s historic, photogenic and peaceful, and an essential stop when exploring Rabat’s imperial quarter. Highly recommended for history lovers, photographers and anyone wanting a memorable slice of Moroccan heritage.
Muhammad A — Google review
Hassan means Beautiful. So it’s a beautiful tower planned to be a mosque. But because of earthquake, it was collapsed and pillars and part of the wall remained. Hijri Year is 355 days, so you can find 355 pillars, The father king mausoleum Mohammad V, newly mosque and a museum for royal family only. Soldiers riding horses near entrance gate. Pleasant visit.
Abu F — Google review
Unfortunately, I only got to see Hassan Tower from the outside, but it was still absolutely worth the visit. The structure is stunning and the scale is impressive, even from a distance. The surrounding plaza with its rows of stone columns gives you a real sense of the unfinished grandeur that was planned here. It is a peaceful area with the Mausoleum of Mohammed V nearby and views over the river. The red stone contrasts beautifully with the sky, making it a great stop for photos. Even if you only have time to see it from the outside, it is one of Rabat’s most iconic and meaningful landmarks.
Seth I — Google review
The area is peaceful and very well maintained, with plenty of space to walk around and take photos. From the site, you can also spot the nearby Mausoleum of Mohammed V, which adds even more depth to the visit. It’s one of those places that’s both historically significant and photogenic — perfect for a short cultural stop while exploring Rabat. You don’t need a lot of time here — 20 to 30 minutes is plenty to take in the sights, admire the architecture, and capture some great photos. It’s more about appreciating the beauty and atmosphere than spending hours exploring.

Chellah is a historic site located on the grounds of an ancient citadel, featuring Roman ruins and royal tombstones. The area covers about 3.5 km2 and includes the ruins of a walled Roman/Arab city, a medieval citadel overlooking the estuary, and the Ville Nouvelle developed under French Protectorate government. The site offers a glimpse into history with its ancient Roman and medieval ruins surrounded by lush gardens.
The Chellah is one of my most favorite places to take visitors. It's peaceful, full of history, and never crowded. I would highly recommend doing the audio tour and stopping for lunch at the Cafe inside.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit gem in Rabat! Cellah (Chellah) is one of the most fascinating and peaceful places I’ve ever visited in Morocco. The moment you enter through the grand gate, you’re surrounded by a mix of Roman and Islamic history that’s simply breathtaking. The ancient ruins, beautifully weathered walls, and ornate tombs tell countless stories of Rabat’s past. The gardens are lush and full of life storks nesting on the old minarets add a truly magical touch. It’s quiet, well-maintained, and perfect for those who want to slow down and take in the city’s heritage away from the crowds. The views from the site are also stunning, especially at sunset when the light hits the ruins. You can feel the layers of history here. Roman remains blending seamlessly with medieval Moroccan architecture. Whether you’re a history lover, a photographer, or simply someone who appreciates peaceful and authentic places, Cellah is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Rabat!

Absolutely wonderful archeological and historic site. The walking path is well marked with site signs. There is also an audio program that can be rented. The grounds are beautifully maintained with plantings that were new to me. Just gorgeous.

A very charming place on so many levels. So much history. We had a wonderful tour guide. The food at the restaurant was wonderful. I want to go back.
Katie W — Google review
Late Sept review - not crowded, great weather and beautiful grounds with an interesting deep history. Get the audio tour guide. The entrance fee is worth it. Also, stop at the cafe for drinks and snacks for nice break with a cool view of the landscape, storks, and their nest. A little pricey but worth the cost as the presentation and quality of the food was impressive. Nice clean modern bathrooms. If your audio tour guide starts to lose battery, give it to any security guard on your route and they will run and exchange it for you. Wish they notified us of this option in advance (like post a sign at the reception).

A lovely historical city with Mauritanian, Roman, and a few other civilizations contributing to this place. The place has some Roman ruins, a very small museum, a mosque, some baths, a lovely garden, and residentials. The place also has a coffee shop, a restaurant, and a gifts shop. Tickets are bought at the entrance by cash or card. They have ample parking onsite. Timings of the place differ around the year. The restaurant onsite remains open until after the ancient city closes, and has a separate entrance. Expect to spend 1 hour exploring the place.
Fahd ب — Google review
Absolutely loved this place. The mix of Roman ruins and later Moroccan architecture makes Chellah one of the most atmospheric sites in Rabat. My highlights were wandering through the crumbling walls covered in greenery, watching the storks nesting on top of old minarets, and hearing nothing but wind and birds. It feels calm and untouched, almost like stepping back in time. The gardens are beautiful, and the sense of history here is powerful with layers of civilizations in one spot. Bring comfortable shoes and visit in the late afternoon for soft light and fewer crowds. A must-see for anyone who enjoys ancient ruins and quiet, magical places.

Fantastic location in the Rabat Medina the room was luxurious beautifully decorated and clean. Breakfast was super on the rooftop near the pool. Beautiful views from the top. All staff friendly and helpful. We loved every moment. Excellent value.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The overall decor is just spectacular and extremely comfortable. It's very quiet. It's in the Medina, but close to the main roads. The rooms are gorgeously appointed, with modern amenities and classical beauty. The food, breakfast and dinner, is excellent and the staff could not be more friendly. There's a small swimming pool and a number of wonderful spaces to spend a quiet hour. Even the Wi-Fi is great. No notes - possibly the nicest place I've ever stayed.
Brenda F — Google review
Magical stay in the heart of the Médina. Ideally located. A sumptuous riad with elegant, refined decor. Each spacious room is uniquely designed. Attentive staff. Delicious meals.
Caroline T — Google review
Great renovation for a Riad that is aesthetically probably one of the best we have been to so far. Service is excellent and prompt. The staff is very dedicated and surprisingly highly educated, soft spoken and quite knowledgeable. The fixed menu for dining has limited options but they are all delicious and the food quality is really good. The chef added a good and delicate twist to typical traditional local dishes to make them a bit more refined without transforming them into something they are not supposed to be like it sometimes happens. So: well done! Easy access to the rest of the medina, beach and the Andalusian Gardens, everything is literally 5 minutes walk. The other great advantage of the location is the proximity to the river and boat service to go across the more high end and refined area of Salé and it's marina and restaurants. Also 40 minutes walk to the Chellah and 20 minutes to the Hassan Tower. This Riad ticks all the boxes. On top of the above, the Hammam and massage services are of really good standard. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back!
Benny S — Google review
This Riad was a gem and I highly recommend Best location in Rabat - quiet area of the Medina. The rooms and common area are very luxurious with lots of amenities. We have a private dinner on the patio and breakfast - both were delicious and beautifully presented. We thought we were dining in a Michelin star restaurant. Lastly, Reda provided the highest level of service to us and made us wish we stayed longer.
Sharon B — Google review
Overall & location: Beautifully restored 100 year old Riad of a previous Pasha (judge) of Rabat. Excellent location within the Medina and easy walking to all sites (except Chellah fort). There are 9 rooms/suites - 5 within the main Riad and another 4 in the seamless extension, each named and themed after a flower. Room: Narjiss on the first floor was superb. Large room with lovely seating area and well equipped bath with shower, safe & storage. Cons: Some very minor noise issues and need the central window blind to be lowered for privacy when internal lights are on. Also, no usb points for easy device charging. Finally, except for the welcome bottle of water, all other water is part of the minibar & chargeable. Breakfast & dining: Very adequate continental breakfast and option for omelettes (though this was not offered on day one). Dinner at the Riad is expensive but worth it. A set menu of 5 lovely salads, choice of 5 mains & 4 desserts, freshly prepared to order by in-house chef Amina. Cons: The rooftop seating area is a bit cosy.
Javeed T — Google review
To be honest am an only partial visitor at the Riad, using the pool facility and the restaurant. The pool experience is magnificent as it’s always empty and you feel the privilege of all booked for you, the staff is very helpful and kind. However my experience with the breakfast considering the price was not as expected. The coffee was survey without sugar, the eggs were also served without salt. I liked the touch of the fruit being served at breakfast, but generally I will rate the breakfast 4 out of 10.

Recently, we celebrated the birthday of my girlfriend Amani at Soloung, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere was lively, and the music was perfect for getting into the party spirit. We were assisted by the lovely Jihane, who helped us throughout the evening with a smile. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her drink recommendations were spot on and made our night even more special. The club's decor is stylish, and it was great to see the space filled with enthusiastic people all enjoying themselves. The dance floor was a wonderful place to forget our worries and enjoy the music. Overall, our experience at Soloung was unforgettable. We had a fantastic night full of fun and good vibes. We definitely recommend this club to anyone looking for a great place to party! Thank you, Jihane and the Soloung team, for an amazing evening!

I have had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Jardin des Roses in Rabat multiple times, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrive, I am always warmly welcomed by the staff. The rooms are spacious and offer breathtaking views, whether it's of the golf course or the beautiful forest surrounding the hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff is not only friendly but also professional and respectful. The restaurant is outstanding, especially the breakfast and the Ramadan "ftour" (meal to break the fast), which are always delicious and well-served. I must also highlight the exceptional service provided by Madame Nadia, the manager at the Millésime Club. She always ensures that we are comfortable and well taken care of, attending to every little detail with care and kindness. Additionally, I would like to thank Madame Hasna Yassine, the Guest Relations Manager, for her warm welcome, her smile, the thoughtful touches in the rooms, and her continuous follow-up to ensure that our stay was as pleasant as possible. Whenever I come to Rabat, this hotel is my one and only address. It's my top choice every time.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Ibtisam, at the reception, welcomed the guest with a bright smile and such a warm attitude — it instantly made the morning feel lighter. Basma, the hostess, was so friendly and accommodating, making sure i was comfortable and seated quickly. Anwar, who served us, was super helpful and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, without being overbearing. The staff made the whole experience feel extra special. The Great Mosque of Salé, also known as Masjid Azam, Slaa, Rabat, is a historic and impressive mosque in Morocco. Dating back to the 12th century, it has undergone several reconstructions due to various historical events. The minaret of this mosque is considered unique and was constructed around 1000 years ago. Adjacent to the mosque is the 700-year-old religious school 'Madrassa Abul Hassan.'
The nucleus of the city SALE was formed around this place, the first mosque was founded by the Banu Ifren between 1029 and 1035. In 1196, after the triumph of Ya'qub AI Mansour during the famous battle of Alarcos he enlarged the mosque which became the largest in Morocco (1196) until the construction of the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca. 700 prisoners from this battle participated in this expansion. The specificity of this mosque is that it has a single minaret "Al A'azriya", a unique feature in the whole country, which is visible from all over the city. Its surface area is more than 6,600 m2, of which more than 4,500 m2 is covered area: 3 courtyards (sahn), 7 doors, two reserved for women and 5 for men. It has an ablution room for men and, in rare cases, a room for ablutions for women, and also a library open to the public on the same scale as that of Al Qarawiyin. Demonstrations against the segregationist Dahir “Berbère” of the French authorities started from this mosque and spread across the country.

Marina Bouregreg Salé is a flagship project located at the mouth of the Bouregreg River in Sale, offering a fuel station and WiFi for arriving sailors. It features waterfront dining and shopping options that are expected to expand as the marina develops. The area is known for its picturesque and serene environment, making it an ideal spot for early morning walks and coffee. Visitors can also enjoy boat rides across the city and explore the nearby Medina.
Full of fabulous restaurants that serve alcohol. Great for a leisurely stroll or to just sit and read a book in peace.
Sinead S — Google review
It's a good space for families and their kids, or if you just want to stare into the other side of the river and have some quiet moments. Now, quiet moments are hard to get there. The cafés play (live) music so loud that it's not really comfortable for people outside. Parties happening there every night is a little bit exaggerated in my humble opinion. But overall, the place is a blast in the morning or at sunset. Wonderful views. (Minus one star for the crowd and the nightly noise)

Love this place!! The service is INCREDIBLE!!! From the gentlemen working outside to the cute coffee bar lady, everyone was so kind! From the friendly smiles that greeted me upon arrival to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, every member of your team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Whether it was the helpful Guest Relations Agent who provided valuable insights into local attractions or the housekeeping staff who meticulously maintained my room, their professionalism and dedication were truly exceptional.

I recently stayed at the View, and I was very disappointed with the experience. The staff was rude unprofessional and unhelpful, and the service was slow and inefficient. When I checked in, the receptionist was very dismissive and didn't even look up when I spoke to her. She didn't greet me or offer me a welcome drink or even a smile. She didn't explain to me about the hotel facilities where they serve breakfast or show me the way to the elevator, and she gave me a different room from the one I booked and paid extra to have it. When I went back there, I found her colleague, Mounir, and he told me to wait in my room for 10 minutes, and they would prepare my room. I had to wait over an hour for a space to become available. And no one showed up. Thanks to those who solved the problem and gave me the room that I paid for The next morning, I went down to the breakfast buffet. The food was cold and there was no variety. The staff was also very rude. They don't know how to smile or say good morning to the guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing special about it.

We stayed here in May 2025. The hotel was nice, as was the room, and the breakfast was good. However, the staff was unhelpful and tried to trick us when paying the bill – they attempted to charge our friend again for an already paid bill. I also left a dress in the wardrobe in our room, and the hotel claimed they didn’t find it. It must have been left there, but I guess someone else is probably wearing it now.

A wonderful hotel that beautifully combines authentic Moroccan🇲🇦 heritage with modern elegance... What truly sets it apart is the staff👌👍, every single one of them, who demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy. I chose this hotel especially for my wife’s British 🇬🇧 family, as it was their first time visiting Morocco🇲🇦, and they were truly impressed by the exceptional services that exceeded their expectations. This positive experience led my wife and me to decide that this hotel would also be our choice for our honeymoon, and it turned out to be absolutely perfect. l woud like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the reception team, the security staff, and the housekeeping team for their outstanding efforts, which left a wonderful impression on us. Just one small remark: the swimming pool seems a bit small compared to the size of the hotel and could be larger to accommodate more guests. Nevertheless, the overall experience was exceptional, and I’ll certainly return to this amazing hotel with great pleasure.👌🤍🇬🇧🇲🇦🇵🇹

We had a wonderful stay at the fairmont hotel salé. I don't like to individually name staff who were excellent at their jobs,... as EVERY staff member we met was! We don't see the back of house who make everything from the melt in the mouth welcome biscuits to the high quality food in all the restaurant's. The cleaning crew who kept our room and the hotel and spa spotless, the security team who always have a friendly nod. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again next year.

Would rate the room as a five but two things wrong 1 was the bathtub it is extremely difficult to get out of I slipped hard back in a couple times even got bruised arm from falling back in. I am a bath person but never here again. We traveled with Gate1 Travel several in our group complained about bedroom not cooling down waking through the night in sweats. Now besides these two items the Hotel is beautiful inside and out. Beauty does not equal comfort I tossed and turned near if not all night.

Kasbah des Oudayas is a historic citadel with striking blue walls that overlook the Atlantic. Its origins can be traced back to the Almohad Caliphate, showcasing centuries of history. The Andalusian Garden within the kasbah is a beautiful oasis filled with blooming plants, fruit trees, and palms, originally designed by the French in the 20th century.
A delightful well restored fortified town with a beach attached. Inhabited by real people do doesn’t feel like a museum. Shame they have changed their original colour scheme of white-and-blue walls though.

Great place, very beautiful. It has great viewpoint and really nice vibe. However, please be aware of the scammers who say that it will close soon and they will take you around because they will only want to take your money

Gorgeous place to wander. Blue and white lanes, flowers on the walls, and quiet corners that feel timeless. The views over the river and the ocean are worth the climb. The Andalusian garden is calm and shady, perfect for a slow walk. Easy to spend an hour here taking photos, stopping for tea, and soaking in the history. A must visit in Rabat.
Seth I — Google review
Very beautiful place where you can wander by yourself or go with a tour group. There's a cafe and great little store not far from the entrance ....and a girl doing henna decorations but it did not last even a day let alone a week! The views from the far end of the site are magnificent. On Tuesday the museum and gardens are closed, which was disappointing, but the kasbah is always open.
Sheila F — Google review
This is a Fascinating area to walk around with some great views of the Altlantic ocean. It is a warren of little lanes that you can get lost in but it really isn’t that big so not a real problem. There are guides available but agree a price upfront. Also beware that if you are walking around on your own people will approach you and start talking to you. These then turn out to be guides and will demand money even if you have not agreed to it. This happened to us. A older man started talking to us unprompted and started explaining things he then demanded a lot of money, which we refused to pay. So beware but it is a good place to walk around.
Andrew M — Google review
A historical landmark with an Andalusian Garden, an Adornment Museum, narrow allies, and lovely views to the sea. The whole place is free to enter except for the Adornment Museum. There is a cafe onsite. Expect to spend an hour onwards exploring all the attractions this place has to offer. Very close to it is the Rabat Old Market.
Fahd ب — Google review
Beautiful, picturesque place with charming houses and narrow, winding streets. The main street is lined with vendors selling food and souvenirs, adding to the lively atmosphere. There's a nice sea view, although unfortunately we visited on a very foggy day, so it wasn't as impressive as it could have been. Be extra cautious of scammers and pickpockets, as they're quite active, and the henna ladies can be very persistent. Despite that, it's a lovely place to wander and soak in the local charm.

Nestled within the picturesque Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Le Clubhouse Robuchon offers a serene escape just a half-hour from the bustling city. Surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flora, this charming venue is perfect for both golf enthusiasts and those simply seeking a delightful dining experience. The menu features an array of options, including fresh salads, hearty sandwiches, quiches, and classic French dishes. A standout favorite is the Joel Robuchon beef burger paired with delectable French fries.
Amazing view really good service had Costa Rican coffee with chocolate cake I’m excited to try the food next time

Visit time : 20 April at 2:00 pm lunchtime. being a regular I have to show my biggest disappointment on how the hostess handled herself while doing her job. She showed no courtesy no enthusiasm in finding us a table. Being a regular many waiters recognised me and been actively trying to sit us. Waiting time was almost an hour without any effort from her to follow up . when finally a kind server found us a table with a missing chair , the hostess again stepped in and said no chairs available, the server managed to find one. This is an explicit complaint on how Rude was our experience with the hostess.
Houda H — Google review
I had high expectations for Robuchon Club House, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor and finesse, which is surprising given the reputation. Even more frustrating was the poor service — inattentive and unprofessional. Definitely not the standard one would expect from a place carrying the Robuchon name. Would not recommend based on this visit.
Mona S — Google review
Very elegant and relaxed restaurant with great outdoor seating, a well thought out menu and some excellent dishes. We had the supreme de volaille and the dorade, both were exquisite.

A selective place for selective people, food is delicious, staff is nice and attentive, it's overall clean, a bit pricey but nothing you wouldn't expect for the quality provided, I'll surely come back soon

Riad Zyo is a chic guesthouse located in Rabat's medina, offering bright rooms, an outdoor pool, and a rooftop terrace. The owner drew inspiration from the nearby coast, decorating the place in calming whites and blues. The courtyard features a small but inviting pool surrounded by tall white archways. The seven rooms offer views of palm groves, the pool, or the streets.
An unforgettable stay! This Riad is in the perfect location—peaceful yet right in the heart of everything. We only had the chance to enjoy breakfast one morning, but it was delicious: fresh baked goods, lemon juice, and rich coffee. The Riad itself is a visual delight, with stunning architecture complemented by a thoughtfully curated collection of art spread throughout, adding richness to the space. There’s also a beautiful rooftop, perfect for relaxing and taking in the surroundings. What truly made the stay special was Mahdi’s warm and generous hospitality. Can’t wait to return!
Helina A — Google review
I’m really glad I booked Riad Zyo. It is very central, but once you step inside it is quiet and very relaxing. The staff is super friendly and doing everything in their way to make you comfortable. The breakfast was super, fresh food, fresh make omelette. Rooms are spacious. It would’ve been nice to have a little fridge in the room to cool water. Overall very pleasant stay in a beautiful area + Riad!

Wow! We are staying here as I write. This is one of the most comfortable small hotels I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. A modern update of a traditional riad, or house with solid exterior walls and interior rooms surrounding on open courtyard with a pool. I’ve included only a picture of the ceiling in our room to make sure you understand this isn’t in a public area. That ceiling is in in our bedroom! Every detail throughout is made for relaxed comfort. We came back from touring in the heat today and my wife took off all of her long clothing and we sat in our bathing suits, hers a bikini, around the pool drinking beer before a fabulous lunch. Great service and wonderful food! We highly recommend this hotel for its proximity to the real Morocco and as an oasis from its heat.
Chad K — Google review
We stayed one night at Riad Zyo. The room was beautifully designed, featuring elegant stained glass windows and grand doors. The architecture is a work of art. The property was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable stay. I would recommend the riad to start providing private transfer services from the train station but otherwise it was a perfect stay.
Dianne G — Google review
Amazing place, the sunset on the terrace is pure magic, the rooms are generous and the staff is one of the most helpful and friendly I have ever met. We can’t wait to come back ♥️
Ruxandra C — Google review
Located within the Rabat madina; close to all the main attractions within 15-20 mts walking distance. Get a full local cultural experience. Rooms are clean, reasonable amenities. Manager/ Owner was ok; not overtly friendly or informative. Breakfast is ala carte and they cook to your taste.

We had a great time in Riad Zyo. Perfectly located in the Medina, professional staff and authentic / charming decoration. Highly recommended!

Hotel
Dayet Ifrah By Rent-Inn is a budget-friendly hotel in Rabat, offering rooms with small kitchenettes or even full kitchens and balconies, resembling more of small apartments than traditional hotel rooms. Although it's located a bit further from the city center, the hotel provides stunning views and high-quality amenities at affordable prices. The property features family rooms and a terrace, making it suitable for travelers seeking luxury accommodations.
Nice modern and cozy, better than I expected, the only problem was the water wasn’t hot enough in the shower, also I liked the idea of the elevator also the location is close to the train station.
SHAHZOD R — Google review
No hot water, cannot take a shower on 40-degree days. If you want that you can come to this place. Staff promised that it would be fixed. I trusted them once. The second night. No fix. No decent human being would accept that, plus different staff members kicking you around like a football. What a lie.
Siqi H — Google review
I had a death in the family and requested the hotel to make an exception and cancel my non-refundable room (1 night) as I had to cancel my entire trip. Property outright declined myself and Expedia. No matter how many good things people might say, the service and business practices that don't accommodate exception for customers who are truly in need of some leeway, displays a complete lack of respect for their customers and horrible business ethics.
A R — Google review
They charged me MAD 44 per person per night for tax although only MAD 13.2 was stated during booking! The service is poor either!! Only one towel was provided. We repeatedly made request to a lady at the counter for one more towel. She promised twice to send it to my room but it was not received until we made further request to another lady in the next evening.
Wai W — Google review
I made my first reservation on December 9th which I realized it was the wrong date after I paid, but couldn't go back and make any changes as it was the 10th in Rabat, so I had Expedia call to either make the changes or cancel it, but they found hostility and refusal to do anything, knowing that I made a second reservation but this time with the correct dates. When I got to the hotel and explained my situation, I received the same reaction that Expedia employees received when they were trying to solve my issue. The logic thing would have been to refund me as I paid for the same room twice, either by mistake or not but I'm dealing with thieves not normal human beings.....So yourselves a favor stay away from this place.....oh by the way they let people use their rooms for people to have sex.
Anouar — Google review
Very nice location, close to railway station, 10 mnts walking. Very clean , not well equipped kitchen. You have to buy all necessary grocery like sugar, salt, coffee, tea etc.
Ajay P — Google review
Annoying rule they have in place, 1 towel per adult, if some guest used both towels to dry body and head, the other will just have to deal with, no exception in place and a little to no understanding from the front desk, the smoking smell is in the lobby and outside of the building thanks to the business next door where some kids and young people with motorcycles gather to play fuse ball and smoke. Not sure a would go back again.
Adil A — Google review
I did not rent the hotel, i came to see the room with the deal offer from Agoda, the reception girl was talking in the phone and did not pay attention to me, was laughing with her friend on the phone, she was very irritating, I waited for her to end her important call , then I asked her to show me a room. After that I told her I will book online from Agoda, she refused, and said only book CACH or booking.com , was unfriendly, I left the hotel and will never come back.. plus there is a billiard club outside where a lot of smokers. gather..

University
The Présidence de l'Université Mohammed V de Rabat is a major tourist attraction in Rabat, offering a beautiful and large campus that draws many visitors. The university is well-connected with transport services, making it convenient to explore the city's other attractions via public transport. Additionally, the university attracts students from various countries, including those studying at official language schools in different cities.
Hey.. Can you help me register at Mohammed V University, I live in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia now If you can help, please contact me, thank you
Da N — Google review
A university that cannot efficiently provide students with the diplomas they rightfully earn fails its most basic responsibility. The process for obtaining a diploma is excessively long, riddled with inefficiencies, and, even when completed, often includes errors. To make matters worse, the current administration has exacerbated this issue, with the president refusing to sign diplomas, leaving students in limbo. This negligence significantly impacts students' futures, as many miss crucial opportunities to apply for jobs, scholarships, or further education due to the delay. Such an institution appears to prioritize bureaucracy over the well-being and success of its students. A university’s purpose is to empower and equip students for their next steps in life, not to hinder them. A transparent and streamlined process should be a fundamental part of any educational institution's operations. Without urgent reforms, this university risks not only its reputation but also the trust of its students and alumni.
