Ocean Key Resort & Spa is a contemporary waterfront hotel located near the harbor, Duval Street, and Mallory Square in Key West. The boutique hotel offers 100 rooms with private balconies overlooking historic Duval Street or the ocean. Guests can enjoy sunset views from the Sunset Pier restaurant and indulge in upscale island design with bright florals and crystal chandeliers throughout the resort.
I have had a great experience so far at Ocean Key Resort. No matter the situation, Craig has got your back. Mitchell provided the best concierge service I have experienced. These people go above and beyond for their guests. Mitchell helped us choose the best experience and assisted us in our travels making sure we have everything we need. This service is personalized if I’ve ever seen it. Wow moments all the way. Thank you Ocean Key Resort & Spa!

If I could leave a 10 star review for service I would! We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and booked an ocean view, her request. We had an issue with the room and the manager offered exemplary service that you often don't see anymore. The hotel is beautiful, you can't beat the location, the view, and the pool. We've been to Key West dozens of times and this by far was the best! 10 out of 10 highly recommend! We will definitely come back and thank you Craig for making her birthday so very special. She was so very happy, which in turn made us very happy. Much love!

We had a great experience at Ocean Key Resort! Extremely nice rooms, ours had a good view of Mallory square and the ocean. Excellent location to explore KW without needing to drive. Even as a local I enjoyed staying here and plan to again in the future for events happening in KW so we don’t have to drive back up the keys. Staff was all very friendly and everything seemed clean and well kept.

My fiancée and I were recently there (booked under her name). The service at Ocean Key Resort & Spa was great; very responsive room service, good food and drinks, friendly staff, and a helpful team overall. Unfortunately, our stay (which happened to be during Fantasy Fest) was ruined by what was allowed to occur at the pool. When we went to the pool two days in a row, several groups of 50-60+ year old swinger-types were hanging out topless, swimming and sun tanning. It was tacky, and honestly just plain gross. No one (except "those people") want to see those nasty, old, sunbaked fake boobs. Management didn’t seem to care at all because they did nothing to stop it, despite a handful of kids being near the pool. When we left the pool early, the bartender even said, “Oh, you guys are leaving? That’s too bad. You two are the most normal people here!” That said everything. Great staff, but the lack of management's intervention made this stay a huge disappointment. Ocean Key is a relatively expensive place and I was hoping for higher standards. However, the gross stuff that was allowed to occur there significantly cheapened the overall experience. I wouldn't stay here again until management gets this under control.
Chris D — Google review
I can only give the hotel three stars. It has nothing to do with the people that work there. Overall, they are lovely. It has everything to do with the owners (the resort company) trying to gouge you at every turn. They stock the room full of things that you can have, but only for a price. I'm not just talking about the minibar. I'm even talking about a cute stuffed animal on the bed for $30 (parents, be warned). First off, the resort itself has had a paint job but needs a true update. It is not as pretty as the pics make it. It's quaint and cute but not spectacular. The Opal next door is far more stunning and cheaper. What Ocean Key does have is an amazing restaurant (which anyone can go to with a reservation) and a lovely spa (which anyone can go to). But we didn't receive any special discounts or treatment for being a guest. My wife's birthday was listed. But all we got was a happy birthday when we checked out. Turndown service was listed as part of the resort fee. But after two days with no service, we were told we had to ask (never mentioned in any communication) and that policy had recently changed. And while the bartender at LIQUID is amazing, the pool itself is very small by resort standards. I hate to knock it down this low. But it does not feel like a luxury resort while charging luxury prices. That's the sad truth. Beds were super comfortable at least, and the location is great (but very loud).

I stayed with my mom for one night to celebrate her birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience. We were upgraded for her special day, and the location was perfect—right on the water with the most beautiful sunset views. The room itself was gorgeous, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The staff was warm and welcoming; Nina at the front desk was especially kind, and the manager Craig went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Thank you for an amazing experience!
Nadav C — Google review
Our shuttle arrived in town at noon, and they allowed us to check in even though official check in is 4pm. Shouna at the front desk was pleasant. We loved our room, very clean and spacious. We got turn down service at 6pm though we asked them to come back at 7:30 while we napped. Hotel is right in the heart of Duval square activities so we walked everywhere. They are under renovation until December 2025 so there was ongoing construction during our stay, but we didn’t mind because they treated us very well. The next day Craig sent us a text that the pool was closed from 9-11am, but he allowed us to extend our checkout to 1pm so we could enjoy the pool. They even allowed us to leave our bags with them to continue enjoying the pool until 4:30 when we had to leave, and allowed us to shower in their temporary “lobby” shower. They helped me find a power outlet in the courtyard to briefly charge my work laptop for a meeting. The pool attendants were amazing, bartenders and beach chair attendants alike. We will return.

Went to stay here with my partner and if you are looking for luxury, look no further! Between the service (shoutout to Craig, Mitchell, Maya, and Steve), location, pool, views, and amenities, everything was sensational. I've been going to Key West since I was a kid and this was the first time going without family. I will make sure everyone stays here from now on as I don't think I can settle for anything less! Thank you Ocean Key for a wonderful experience; we will be back!

The Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa is an upscale beachfront resort that offers seafood dining, a spa, and an outdoor pool. Situated between Mallory Square and the Southernmost Point buoy, this 120-room hotel provides easy access to major attractions while offering conventional resort amenities. Guests can enjoy a man-made beach, pool, restaurants, bars, and beautiful views of the Gulf.
This is my favorite place to stay when visiting Key West. They have everything you could ask for from comfortable rooms, an on-site restaurant, an outdoor bar and grill, a spa for when you need a little help relaxing, a fitness center, jet skis, golf carts, bicycles, a pool and hot tub,and direct access to the ocean water. The bar staff at Blue Mojito Bar & Grill couldn't have been better! TJ was fantastic, he really took care of us throughout our stay. Natalia, Chika, and Raj were so great as well. We really felt comfortable there.
Tabetha D — Google review
Agree with the overall ratings online for the Hyatt Centric, Key West. Nice hotel with nice rooms, overall good accommodations. Staff were very friendly, helpful, provided prompt service. Nice pool area, with a bar next-door serving decent food. There are a few small pools where they keep rescued freshwater turtles, which are fun to feed! Location right next to the marina is very good, and allows easy access throughout Key West on foot. We enjoyed our stay there, and would go back!
Jim N — Google review
Excellent accommodations. The rooms are modern and clean. The pool is first rate and the turtle sanctuary on site is a nice touch. Highly recommend this side of the island. Plenty of great restaurants in walking distance with harbor views.
Ch S — Google review
A neat and comfortable resort located on Front Street right in the heart of Key West within walking distance from all amenities. The rooms were clean and adequate and there is a pool on site. There is also a well stocked gym for those looking to do some exercise. Water is provided in aluminium bottles and they have refilling stations. They have rescued turtles on the resort for interest and amusement. Only down point is that they do not offer any vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. They champion a top class chef so they could at least cater for those with restricted diets. This was a theme throughout Key West.
Alan S — Google review
The hotel needs a complete makeover. Was like walking into a 1980’s island hotel from the lobby through the grounds to our room. Thankfully the room was clean. What we stayed in for the outrageous price we paid was absolutely ludicrous! Plus it was right next to a public beach where the homeless slept….definitely not ever going back to that hotel. The two positives- staff was very friendly and it was very convenient to town. But would not recommend at all.
Brenda B — Google review
The room was good, gave old studio vibe. Location is great. They have rescued turtles all over the deck area. Love the hammocks everywhere. At the hotel restaurant we sat at the bar for a late night drink and dessert and Valie and Ana were great. Thank you!
Katrina K — Google review
Wonderful place located right at the end of the strip. Quiet and relaxing vibes. We rented a scooter on site and also took a guided jet ski tour on site. The turtles and parrot were a joy to see each day. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. They were able to get us in a room earlier then expected as our flight landed at 9am. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
Stephen A — Google review
Came down for Fantasy Fest and had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric. The location can't be beat and I love that they have a turtle sanctuary on property. That being said, the property does have some wear and tear and could use some uplifting. This is definitely a Category 8 just because of the location. Overall it was a lovely stay and will be definitely coming back next time I'm in the Keys.

Resort hotel
Pier House Resort & Spa, originally a small 50-room motel built in 1967, has evolved into one of Key West's most prestigious resorts. It boasts a prime location near major attractions and offers 119 guest rooms and 23 suites with large tiled bathrooms, rain-style showers, custom furniture, and local art. The resort provides a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury with its private beach, heated outdoor pool, full-service spa, and multiple dining options.
Highly recommend staying here!! Everything was awesome, the views, service, staff friendliness. Great little beach spot and you can't find a better place to catch the sunset, much better that sunset pier or Mallory square. It's in a great part of town and within walking distance to a lot of different attractions and restaurants. Rooms were a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. It was quite our entire stay and always felt safe. A nice bar by the beach and pool to get a drink or bite to eat. Most definitely recommend if looking for a place to stay!!

Best location when in Key West! You can walk everywhere and retreat to a quiet place that feels away from the hustle. The rooms are clean with robes and slippers that make you feel like you’re at a luxury destination. We had an issue with our keys, but the hotel manager solved the issue right away and compensated us for our trouble. The beach is small but nice, with all the amenities of a big resort. I would definitely stay here again.

⭐ 2/5 We chose Pier House for our 15th wedding anniversary, as we normally stay in Key West twice a year at The Marker and wanted to try something different. After this experience, we will be returning directly to The Marker. Check-in was smooth, and the room was adequate, though it could use updates. The front driveway constantly floods, requiring guests to walk through water that smells strongly of sewer. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a $500 smoking violation charge. No one in our party smokes, and I have a respiratory condition that prohibits exposure to smoke or strong odors. The front desk communicated with me several times via text throughout our stay and never mentioned any issue. I was asked on Friday night to text them my email address the next morning once we had left our room for "express checkout". So once we had left the hotel and was heading to the airport, I texted them and minutes later I received an itemized receipt including this charge, with no explanation. Had I not carefully reviewed it, I would never have known. The hotel cited a FreshAir sensor alert, but it’s puzzling that it was triggered only once. It seems highly unlikely that someone would smoke just once in a room they stayed in for six days. Environmental factors can sometimes trigger these detectors. Attempts to resolve this with the property went nowhere. While the property is in a nice location and the staff were polite, the way this charge was applied and handled raises serious concerns about transparency and fairness. It’s not worth the risk, stay elsewhere.

Pier House Resort & Spa - A Perfect Key West Sanctuary! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful stay! We loved our serene ocean view room 🌊. The full body massage at the spa was divine 💆‍♀️. Dinner at the on-site One Duval restaurant featured amazing seafood 🦞. Exceptional service throughout. This is the perfect peaceful escape from the busy Duval Street. Highly recommend!
V K — Google review
My husband and I booked our stay at Pier House as an emergency beach vacation to destress. Pier House was perfect for this. Within the walls of the resort you would never know that the activity in the tourist area is there. It is very quiet and peaceful with lush greenery and water features surrounding the pathways, pool and private beach. We upgraded our room from a standard king to an ocean front dockside room. We have no regrets at all! We were lucky enough to get the corner room so we had views of the ocean and the beach. Despite the close proximity to the beach and restaurant, our room was very quiet. We couldn't hear any noise from neighbors or outdoors. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The beach and pools had plenty of loungers and umbrellas and were also kept clean. There was only one day that the beach seemed overly crowded but I suspect that this was due to guests checking in and out crossing paths because the next day it was back to normal. We were surprised by how good the food was at the resort. We aren't really breakfast people but the cappuccinos were nice. We ate lunch at the beach bar each day and never grew tired of the parmesan fries or the berry, nut and goat cheese salad. We only ate at One Duval one evening but that experience was pleasant and I was happy to find several vegetarian options. The staff is actually what really made our trip amazing, not just great. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and kind. We always had a drink in our hands when we wanted one at the beach or pool (Linda and Nick are the best!) and the women at the front desk were helpful with making restaurant recommendations and providing directions so that we could enjoy quieter walks and avoid the action on Duval. The servers at the beach and pool work sunrise to sunset it seems and they hustle but with a smile on their face! I didn't see or overhear any negative interactions. I had some questions about my invoice at checkout and Chuck, the manager, called me after I returned home to graciously explain the details (the misunderstanding was completely on my end). The people alone are enough to bring us back. We felt welcomed, comfortable, and safe throughout our stay. I am usually a fairly tough critic but I cannot think of anything that I would improve or change about our stay. I look forward to returning when we need another emergency beach vacation!

A Beautiful experience! This place is more than amazing. It’s private, quiet, relaxing & the staff is friendly! The landscaping🌴 is like walking through an enchanted forest! It has mini waterfalls & ponds with turtles🐢 & goldfish🐡! Watch out👀…chickens🐓🐓 are walking around freely. They don’t bother you at all. This property has its very own private beach 🏖️ with hammocks for lounging. It’s a bar🍹 by the pool so convenient! The food is tasty! The spa 🧖🏽‍♀️is TOP tier! I got a facial that knocked a few wrinkles out!! We rented a chart to drive around the island. You really don’t need to leave for anything. I would definitely return!!🎉❤️🌴

My husband and I stayed at the Pier House for our anniversary and it was the best vacation we have had in years! Every step was perfect! From check in, drinks by the pool or the private beach, dinner at One Duval and our spa treatments with Mike and Courtney! I would highly recommend staying here for everything that the hotel provides as well as the location. This will be the only place I will stay when I visit from now on!
Nicole H — Google review
We just returned from a 5-day stay celebrating our 20th anniversary, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The staff was incredibly attentive throughout our visit, and a special shout-out goes to Tequila when we checked in and Stephen who assisted us with our luggage. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. One of the standout features is the small beach area they’ve created which is perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand while floating in the water. It felt like our own little paradise, and we even had the joy of seeing a manatee swim by almost every day! Snorkeling right from the property was another huge plus, especially since we didn’t have to book an extra charter boat to enjoy it. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. This place absolutely deserves 5 stars, and we’re so grateful to the team for making our milestone celebration so special.

Sunset Key Cottages is a refined resort located on a 27-acre private island just off Key West, accessible only by boat. The property offers 40 stand-alone bungalows with wraparound verandas and Adirondack chairs, fully equipped kitchens, and bright interiors reflecting the surrounding sea and sky. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of turquoise waters, luxurious amenities such as gradual-entry outdoor pools, spa treatments, tennis courts, and yoga sessions on the beach.
⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Stay! Our experience at Sunset Cottage in Key West was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and true hospitality. The service was excellent—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The cottage itself is charming, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that instantly felt like home. The location is ideal—close enough to enjoy all the excitement of Key West but tucked away enough to relax in peace. One of our favorite moments was watching the breathtaking sunsets right from the property—absolutely unforgettable! We can’t recommend Sunset Cottage highly enough. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat, this is the perfect spot. We’ll definitely be back! 🌅✨ ⸻Martha Sanders

It's hard to put into words the feeling of excitement you have arriving and the feeling of sorrow when you have to say goodbye. We stayed in Monet cottage and it was perfect. It was a beautiful location. It gave off vibes of being in Hawaii completely different than the vibe in Key West. Key West is very tourist oriented and there was a cruise ship in port every day. Masses of people and hard to escape them. We were so happy we chose to stay at Sunset Key and not on Key West. We enjoyed day trips over to take tours, but enjoyed even more returning to our Sunset Key cottage and amenities. We had every need met and those we didn't know we had. The morning basket of goodies was perfect to start the day. The afternoon ice cream available by ice cream cart and finally the evening turn down service with water and sweet treat was added services that we never expected. Latitude's offered many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything was fabulous. If you are looking for a special place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, engagement, honeymoon, etc. This is the place. Heck, even if you have nothing to celebrate you deserve the pampering.

Another fabulous day at Sunset Key Cottages! Beautiful property located on a secluded island offering a large, peaceful beach area. Caesar is the best when it comes to drinks by the beach, towel service and even bringing over a raft to float on. I can’t say enough about the food, which is consistently delicious. Our server Eva was fantastic. The pool is stunning and Thomas the pool bartender is the best. He is so kind and his drinks are the best- try the Key Lime Colada with a graham cracker rim! We love our time at Sunset Key and thank you to Chris who runs everything so well- you won’t find a better property or better service anywhere else. Well done, Chris!

Our stay at Sunset Key Cottages was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel right at home. The cottages were impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location is a dream—peaceful, picturesque, and just steps from the water. Every detail, from the exceptional service to the stunning views, was flawless. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Our stay at Sunset Key Cottages in Key West was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional care and hospitality that elevated the entire experience. A special shoutout goes to Leah, who went above and beyond in making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made us feel right at home and truly valued as guests. We also had an unforgettable dinner at Latitudes, where Eduardo, our server, provided one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. He was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly thoughtful and personable. His service made our evening feel incredibly special, and the attention to detail was simply top-tier. The combination of breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and the incredible staff made this trip one to remember. Sunset Key Cottages is a true gem, and we’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, relaxing, and deeply personalized escape in Key West!

Amazing experience!!! This property is where we will be same time next year with more family. The times if the ferries back to the mainland are a minor inconvenience compared to the tranquility of the island. Matty at the bar was a very professional and gracious host. Paige at check in was amazing and the staff regarding check on and check out were very nice. I look forward to next year.

This is not a family resort in our opinion. For the price you can take your family somewhere else. They have a small pool. The little private beach they have has rocks and seaweed. Careful when closing the doors in the cottages. The door jams are positioned weird. You can easily jam your hand/fingers when closing the doors. The private beach doesn't look like the pictures on their website. Overall they only have the small pool and the small private beach.

I checked in late after a long flight and everything nearby was already closed. When I asked the front desk if there was anywhere to grab a quick bite, instead of just saying no, this gentleman went above and beyond, he said, “Give me a few minutes, I’ll make you a turkey sandwich.” That kind of kindness and initiative is rare these days. It truly made my night and left a great impression of the hotel. Big thanks to him for showing what genuine hospitality looks like! 👏

Southernmost Beach Resort is a colonial-style retreat located in Key West, just a short distance from the southernmost point of the continental US. The resort spans over 6.5 acres and features eight pastel-blue low-rise buildings with a total of 244 refined rooms, as well as four guest houses named Avalon, La Mer, Duval Gardens, and Dewey Houses offering 52 rooms. The property underwent renovations in recent years to update the Victorian-style interiors and add modern design touches.
We just returned from a fantastic stay at the Southernmost Beach Resort! The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Key West, but still peaceful and relaxing. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and had all the touches that made our stay special. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the whole property felt like a true getaway. A special shout-out to Casey, the activities coordinator—she was fun, knowledgeable, and gave us great recommendations for hot spots and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Our room was terrible, sadly. It had a terrible musty smell that we reported twice. They never offered to move us, just sent maintenance to spray a deodorizer that didn't help at all. The AC unit in our room was malfunctioing and made a terrible "clicking" noise multiple times in a row, every 20 to 25 minutes that woke us up multiple times a night. The fabric covered headboard had gross stains all over it and we found ants and other crawling bugs in our room every day. Our room was also directly across from the ice machine that ran a drain cycle every so often and was so loud, it sounded like someone was showering in our bathroom- also waking us up multiple times. The hotel is located at the very end of Duval Street, but not the lively part, so if you are seeking a quieter location, this would be it. The more active bars are at least a 15 to 20 minute walk down Duval. They have two pools with bars where we had great service and drinks. Don't count on entertainment- the regge band packed up 30 minutes after starting because of rain, despite the rain stopping 15 minutes later, and they were scheduled to play for a few hours. We learned that the newer rooms were on the beach side and our friends didn't have the issues with their room we had. So, if you ensure you are in the newer buildings you may have a better experience. For the price, there are better options on the island from our discovery. We wouldn't recommend this resort unless you could guarantee being in a new room that seemed to be better maintained/cleaner.

We (Mum, Dad, 2 kids aged 9 and 11) spent a night staying at this hotel in October 2025. Good things about this hotel: -Good facilities - games, pools, etc although unfortunately kids are not permitted in the coffee bar. - Location of buildings on the southern side of the hotel is wonderful - right next to the beach and the iconic southernmost marker in Key West. This means you can have breakfast on the beach or sundowners at the pool (which is adjacent to the beach) and easily move between the two. - Plenty availability of towels - Lots of parking - Friendly and good service -Quiet by Key West standards, despite the central location Bad things about this hotel: - The hotel complex is very large and spans across many separate buildings. There is even a public road (with traffic) bisecting the hotel complex which is not ideal if with kids. - Hotel is EXTREMELY over-priced. We are from the UK (where hotels aren't cheap) and road-tripped around Florida Keys getting a good idea of the costs of hotels. Our 1-night stay cost $690 (beware all the hidden charges at US hotels - sales tax, occupancy tax, parking charges + taxes, ridiculous resort fees + taxes etc). The room was basic (two queen beds, no sea view) with a parking lot in front of it (more like a motel than a luxury hotel). -The breakfast food is quite good but they can only serve American filter coffee so capuccinos / espressos / lattes etc are not available for breakfast which was really quite poor. In summary, if budget was unlimited, I would stay here again, but based on poor value-for-money, if I return to Key West, I will probably stay somewhere else.

Nice pools and location. Plenty of outdoor bars. Employees are nice. Popular place. Love the outdoor hammocks. Cool architecture and rooms are accommodating. A/C didn't work in our room and they happily moved us. Will return.

This was our second time staying here and it has been great both times. We stayed in the ocean front rooms so our balcony view was unbeatable. Easy access to multiple pools, beach (underwhelming, but still a beach), and Duvall street. Its on the quiet side of Duvall street, so it's a little more peaceful with only a short walk to the mayhem. We stayed in October so the temperature was warm (~90°), but not horrible.

Let me start by saying I almost cancelled my reservation due to the reviews I was reading BUT I'm so happy I didn't. This resort is beautiful, our room was spacious and had a great view of the ocean. While yes, it was disappointing the beach was unusable, I realize the seaweed is a seasonal thing that is out of their control. The pools are nice at while at times busy, we always found chairs and never felt crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. We ate at the cafe twice, dinner & breakfast and the food was very good. If you want to see the Southernmost Buoy, I suggest going in the morning, we were there at 8 and we were the only ones there. Also, the roosters are fun to watch and I was never bothered by their singing :)

Please don’t waste your money on this glorified motel. It is not a 4 star hotel as stated and is completely overpriced. My husband and I are frequent travelers and have traveled to places all over the world and have never had such a disappointing experience. We stayed at this dump last year and fell for the immediate upselling, money grabbing scheme that you are hit with while checking in. After paying an extra $100 per night, we are supposed to feel honored and privileged to stay in the room that we initially booked. After speaking with other guest, if you don’t fall for this scam, you will be tucked away in a mold, roach and ant infested, undesirable cell like room only to be told there are no other options. We certainly did not want to be punished in that manor, so we bit the bullet and payed the extra money. We ended up having a great stay last year. Upon check out, we were hit with yet another money grab tactic. We were asked if we wanted to make a $500 deposit, to guarantee the same rate next year. After hearing more horror stories from other guest, I asked the salesman, if we made the deposit could we be guaranteed to also stay in the same room? With no hesitation at all, she answered yes and stated she would temporarily block the room off for the same dates as our previous stay and asked us to call a month before to confirm the reservation, in which we did and also confirmed that the room we requested was available and would be blocked off for our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the most unprofessional, rude and argumentative lady I have ever met in my entire life, Ann Marie. I have no idea why anyone would think someone with such a horrible disposition, would be considered to be the face of their establishment. I took the time to read other reviews and her name was mentioned several times as being problematic. First impressions are everything! We have never been yelled at and berated this way by another human being in our lives. Every time I would try to explain to her and show proof of our previous discussions, she would talk over me and totally dismiss our request. After an exhausting, embarrassing and unproductive battle, I guess Ann Marie won. We were stuck in one of the janky mold, roach and ant infested rooms with no balcony and a phantom fan that comes on with the light randomly in the middle of the night. After speaking with another worker at the hotel, the room we requested is one they use for upselling. If asked we would have paid extra as well, to avoid the tiny, disgusting room we were forced to take. Like many other people mentioned in their reviews, we and our group of 4 other couples that come here every year, will be planning our next stay at the Hilton as well.

Stayed for 4 days to visit Keys for the first time. The staff was very accomodating helping me with needs during my stay and concierge desk was very nice suggesting and setting up a scooter rental for day and restaurant suggestions. Room was nice and enjoyed my stay. Will definitely be back.

Nestled along the Gulf of Mexico, Parrot Key Hotel & Villas offers a charming old-fashioned beach community vibe with its rocking-chair porches and picket fences. The property features lush landscaping, multiple secluded swimming pools surrounded by gardens, white-sand sunbathing terraces, and stunning waterfront views. Guests can enjoy watersports on-site or take advantage of nearby kayaking.
We stayed at Parrot Key Hotel September 15-19th and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! The pools were absolutely beautiful, clean, well kept, and so quiet! The poolside restaurant and bar was so convenient while staying at the hotel. The drink and food prices were a bit high (but is expected at a hotel/resort). The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, right across the street from a shopping center with everything you need and beautiful water views, and only a short drive to old town Key West! We will definitely be staying here again!
Pbnank01 — Google review
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for peace, value, or comfort. The room and terrace were constantly noisy due to loud poolside music starting at 07:30 and continuing for around 14 hours — every single day with the same playlist. Plus you have an air con unit next to you belting out hot air and a loud fan noise. It was relentless! Transport was another letdown. We weren’t informed that the shuttle bus needed to be booked in advance, and it only runs a few times a day — not in the evenings when you'd actually want to use it. This made getting around quite expensive with Ubers and the hotel location being out of town. The hotel itself feels tired and in need of a refresh — a good clean and a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. Meals are served on plastic plates and drinks in plastic cups, which really cheapens the experience. There’s no indoor bar open late, which limits evening options. To top it off, the $30 daily parking fee is excessive and adds to the overall poor value for money. Disappointing stay.

We loved our stay at Parrot Key Resort! The property is gorgeous with lush landscaping, peaceful pools, and clean, comfortable rooms that made it easy to relax. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Manager Ashley, who helped us quickly resolve a problem with genuine care and professionalism—she turned a potential headache into a great experience. Between the beautiful setting and outstanding service, Parrot Key is an easy 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful. Clean. Deluxe. Everyone from the front desk to the valet and mangle were exceptional. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the AC was not working but it wasn’t hot in the room because of the fans in the ceiling. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
Roger T — Google review
After a two-and-a-half-week road trip through South Florida, Parrot Key was our second-to-last stop for one night. Looking for relaxation? Then this is not your hotel. Party music early in the morning by the pool, gardening work at 6 a.m., and very noisy rooms (we could hear the footsteps of the people below us). Looking for decent rooms? Then this hotel, or apartment 55B, is not for you. The carpet in front of the fridge was soaked, the living room carpet was disgustingly sticky in one spot, the furniture and walls were worn out, light switches didn’t work, and bulbs in the bathroom were defective. The location is in a commercial area. Without a car it will likely be expensive or exhausting to get to the tourist spots. The valet parking is basically a joke, since the parking spaces are right next to the hotel. For the price, we expected more and were glad we had only booked for one night.
Tobias J — Google review
Cute little place, 3 pools. If you stay anywhere other than the 1st floor, you have to go up steps. They give you a glass of champagne when arriving. It is about a mile from Duvall Street and they offer a shuttle that's free but only at certain times
Jackie L — Google review
Booked a room here and got a confirmation number only to drive 4 hours and for them to tell me the card declined and they tried to call me. I checked my phone and had no missed calls. The room then cost almost double the $299 plus tax confirmed with my confirmation number. I used to stay here a lot and book all my employees rooms here. Won’t be back. See photos for proof

Parrot Key is great if you have lots of money to spend and don't care about value. To summarize my review: book a fancy king guestroom with a water view or don't book at all. My partner and I were mistakenly assigned a one bedroom unit with two queen beds at first, rather than the one king bed that we booked. This gave us the chance to see the basic furnishings and groddy bathroom (that others have noted in their reviews) up close. Later in our stay, we heard other guests complaining about cleanliness as well. I could not imagine paying over $300 a night (including all fees) in the off-season for this room. The front desk very kindly reassigned our room and actually upgraded us to the 2 king room referenced above. The cleanliness and quality of this unit was top notch-- I felt like I was at a different resort, and we had a great stay. My second caution to readers is that the resort fee is high (~$57/day) and we got nothing out of it, other than: a small shuttle that runs infrequently, a beach that you can't swim in (gross water), and comp drinks by the pool that you can only claim with a voucher from the front desk (not mentioned until checkout). The food and drinks served by the hotel bar/restaurant were great, as was the service, but more expensive than some of the nicer restaurants in town. To end this review on a positive note, Steve the Concierge was the only employee we interacted with that seemed to enjoy his job. He was a pleasure to talk to and he set us up with an in-house golf cart rental which was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks Steve!

The Reach Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton is a luxurious 4-star resort located at the serene southern end of Duval Street. It offers a refined stay with top-notch amenities including an oceanfront pool, private beach, and a seafood restaurant. The hotel features spacious rooms with private balconies, Wi-Fi, Nespresso coffee machines, and iPod docking stations.
We stayed at The Reach Hotel Key West for 5 nights, booking two rooms, and had a fantastic experience overall. The resort’s location was perfect for our beach-focused vacation, and the beach itself was a highlight, never disappointing. The pool area was decent, with attentive staff frequently offering beverage service. The bar staff was exceptional, making excellent drinks that added to our enjoyment. However, the pricing for food and drinks at the resort felt a bit steep, so we often dined elsewhere. Our fifth-floor rooms were spacious with high ceilings and offered access to a wonderful lookout area with stunning views of Key West, especially at sunset—a real bonus! We did encounter a couple of issues: the air conditioning in our rooms occasionally shut off, and the safe was non-functional. I mentioned this to the front desk, and they promptly offered to send someone to fix it. Since we were eager to explore Key West, I chose to manage by ensuring the AC was on manually, which worked fine. The front desk staff was outstanding throughout our stay, always courteous and helpful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Reach and would definitely return!

The Reach property was beautiful right on the beach. The valet, front desk and concierge were amazing and extremely helpful. Restaurant was decent. The balcony in our room overlooking the ocean was amazing. Housekeeping was terrible! They came 3 out of the 5 days we were there. We had to call and have them come clean the room after 5pm after being gone all day. We had a premium room with premium lodging costs the floors were never cleaned, the glass shower door had been broken and not fixed, they put up a shower curtain and the umbrella on balcony looked like it had been through a few hurricanes! Hilton definitely needs to update the rooms in this property!

Prior to booking I saw mixed reviews from hospitality, service and rooms. From my personal experience this weekend everything was exceptional. From arriving to the hotel and first interactions with the valet to checking in to our room with Foster who was amazing. Our time by the pool and beach were superb and Stephanie had an amazing personality and hospitality every time. The chairs and umbrellas by the beach are included along with towels. Servers walk the pool and beach regularly to take orders of food or drinks. I had ordered a romantic package for the room and it did not disappoint. The resort fees were adequate for amenities. The valet parking is the only means of parking, but is $50 a day which is a little pricey imo, but I also am a local from Tampa where I find free beach parking. Everyone at FD was very nice when we interacted with them and 2 guys in valet were superb. Highly recommend and hopefully the experience we received remains consistent for everyone else visiting!

the worst stay ever !!! We ended up leaving early. Fist we get there and check into our room (at 430 pm so 30 minutes after scheduled check in time ) We get to our room and it is not ready, 5 minutes after getting in, maid service is knocking and asking to come in to finish cleaning our bathroom. Then the room itself, we paid for king ocean view , IT WAS NOT OCEAN VIEW (see pictures) . They showed an incorrect photo on the website. We were in the courtyard , we tried to have our room switched to the correct view (given we paid extra money for ocean view), to be comped for the difference in price (which was around 100 a night ) or if we could be switched to the sister hotel casa marina. The answer was no to all of the above. We ended up staying in the same room for 3 days, maid service / turn downs daily never came ! We had no towels, no toilet paper . We had to call them multiple times as well as text the front desk , telling them this and giving them times they can come up and clean (after they would ask us) and then no one would show. After the 5th time on the 3rd day we got back to the room we decided it was time to leave . Also the valet wasn’t our main concern and they were friendly but did take a very long time to get the car/ drop off the car. They did end up comping our last night of stay since we left early and did give us the resort fee back , but would NEVER stay here again. The hotel bar 4 marlins, did look nice but the bartender was also rude to my boyfriend and we never went back there. The beach at the hotel is beautiful . The pool was eh. We went to see the sister hotel casa marina which is WAY nicer, would definitely stay there next time and would never stay at the reach again!

We had an amazing stay at The Reach Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton. The beach was beautiful, clean and free of seaweed because the staff takes care of it every morning. I also want to thank Diana and Svitlana from the gift shop. They were so friendly and helpful, and they really took the time to help me find the perfect birthday gift for my wife. It made her day so special. Great hotel, great people, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We spent four wonderful weeks at The Reach this past summer, and it truly felt like home. The entire team made our stay exceptional — everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Stephanie and Sharon, who served us at the pool and restaurant, are absolute stars! Their service was consistently outstanding, and they made every moment feel special. Francisco at the pool hut always greeted me with a smile and had a towel ready before I even asked — such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Annie at the front desk consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her dedication to solving any issue with grace and efficiency was deeply appreciated. And we can’t forget Darius, Jarod, and Ali — the best valet team we’ve ever encountered. They were always friendly, quick, and full of great local recommendations. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Right on the water with plenty of amenities, pool, bar, restaurant, coffee/juice bar, and much more! This is a great spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation spot, but still only a short ride to Duvall if you want to enjoy the night lift. Beautiful beach resort and fun statues in clever poses randomly across the property. Valet parking is a bit on the high side ($50) if you drove to Key West from Miami. Overall loved our stay, wish it was longer!
Cloud S — Google review
As Hilton Honors members, we were especially disappointed in our vacation at this property. I don't even know where to begin. First, know that the property is old - they might have dressed it up a bit, but the rooms are still simply dated. For example, we could barely open the door to our deck because of metal deterioration. On the flip side, the door to our room was very difficult to close/lock - we had to repeatedly close it and test to make sure it was locked when we left the room. I asked for a blanket and additional pillows when we checked in - they looked and smelled like they could have been 10 years old. Only one of two elevators was working and the ice machine on our floor and the one below us were out of order for our entire stay. We soon discovered that our safe deposit box did not work, so used their virtual system to have that fixed. We also used the system to follow-up on housekeeping. So frustrating! Avoid using it if you can. Although servers in the restaurant were lovely and the view was wonderful, food and drinks were exceptionally overpriced for what you get. For example, I ordered lobster macaroni and cheese and only discovered four small pieces of lobster. My husband had a dish with beef short ribs and rice - same situation with the protein. Including one mixed drink, our tab was $125! Our room was $500+ off season for an "ocean view" room as a point of reference for anyone reading this. All that we were really able to view was a life-size chess game and the pool. Hoping that some of this information is helpful for future travelers.

Margaritaville Beach House Key West, opened in November 2021, embodies the laid-back island vibe of Key West. The Jimmy Buffett-themed property offers airy suites with island decor and colors, promoting a relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind on 'island time.' Activities range from family-friendly fun like fireside s'mores and swimming to adult-oriented rum-tasting experiences.
From start to finish, our experience here was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, pool area is great, rooms are simple but have everything you would need. The restaurant on site had great food, we had breakfast there and it was really good. Chris at the front desk was so kind and accommodating, he made us feel like we were at home. Additionally, this hotel had great perks and deals. We were able to get $25 of resort credit and two free cocktails. They also provide welcome margaritas at check in. As far as location goes, the beach is walking distance from the hotel, it is so close. They have excursions you can do right there as well. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes from downtown, but there is a free shuttle that goes back and forth every hour until 11:30 at night. The airport shuttle is on demand, we were only waiting at the airport for maybe five minutes before someone came to pick us up (and this is also included in the resort fee). All of the staff were so kind. John, the shuttle driver made us laugh so much, he gave us recommendations on the best bars and restaurants. We will be sure to come back again, hopefully soon! Thanks for making our key west experience so great!

Could Be a Great Resort But Too Many Issues to Overlook. This place could be amazing. The location is beautiful, and housekeeping was actually wonderful when they showed up & kind, attentive, and hard-working. But unfortunately, my experience was filled with one issue after another. I spent more time reporting problems than relaxing. From trash left around the property, to dirty pools, to iguana droppings left uncleaned basic maintenance was clearly not a priority. I tried to make the best of it for my kids and grandkids. The worst part? I had to call at 5AM for roach control. There were also ants in the room, and the response only came after multiple complaints. They charge $50 per person, per day in resort fees, plus an extra $300 in mystery charges, and the only real amenity was a shuttle. For the price, I expected a true resort experience not a battle to get basic standards met. And charging what they charge for food had everyone ordering door dash. The property has potential. But no guest should have to spend their vacation in constant back-and-forth with the front desk just to feel heard.

When we first came into the room we noticed a strong bug killer smell, but then it went away. The room had a King size bed that almost filled the room. It had a nice terrace overlooking the pool. It had a microwave and a nice sized empty refrigerator. It had a big TV. We staid for two nights and they never made up the room. The pool was nice although a little crowded. They have a shuttle every half hour to downtown and also to the nearby airport. The beach is nice, with a few palm trees and shallow water, just across the road. You can bring towels from the hotel, but you need to rent chairs and an umbrella if you want.

My family was so excited for this trip. First time in forever we took a real family vacation. Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted by a very nice woman who checked us in to our room quickly and offered us a welcome beverage. The first night we were in a two bedroom suite. We were supposed to have a “resort view” but unfortunately we had a parking lot view. The room was clean and had ample towels. The AC however left something o be desired at night. It was so hot in the room. The second night we moved to a different room as pre-planned. We had a king size bed. The fridge didn’t cool our drinks very well but the microwave worked. We again had ample towels but the same issue with the AC. We also had dead roaches on the floor. I get it. I’m a Floridian but unfortunately that and my dirty feet let me know that the floors had not been cleaned. I wish I had great things to say about the rest of the staff we encountered but most seemed to be disturbed by our presence and asking questions was disturbing to them. Yesterday morning we decided to have breakfast on the deck of the restaurant. The Hostess, maybe 5 feet from me during breakfast, was talking to the outside bartender about how all Americans were spoiled and did not have a good work ethic, that Americans were lazy. Being that I’m an American, that conversation would have been better left for different company. I had hoped that this would be a place we would return year after year but unfortunately we will most likely seek other lodging on future trips.

Beautiful and clean place to stay for vacation. Staff is very friendly. The pool is amazing, especially for kids. The hotel provides inflatables to relax at the pool. This place is conveniently located about 5 min from the air port. The beach is across the street. We had easy free parking. The hotel has a shuttle which we did not realize until after getting a rental. I would highly consider using the shuttle in the future parking is expensive when you leave the hotel. You pay about $15 for 2 hours everywhere you park. 😣. We had a great stay. The hotel was clean. The place was quiet. The only negative is the bed is hard. But I am a soft bed person. My husband loved the bed. It’s in a safe location.

Margaritaville Key West is a beautiful place but a major disappointment from service to menu selection to taste of food. I’ve enjoyed the food and service over the past 20 years at other Margaritaville restaurants, i.e. Ocho Rios and Montego Bay Jamaica as well as Grand Cayman. The bar and restaurant staff was slow and inattentive although very polite and hospitable. I ordered the skirt steak which had absolutely no seasoning not even salt or pepper, the calamari had too much batter, the smoked fish dip had too much mayo and little smoked fish (try Golden Rule’s smoked fish dip-perfection). The grilled grouper had no seasoning just grouper thrown on a grill and served with hardy vegetables. The shrimp appetizer was over cooked and tough. I tried to find something that was redeeming but there needs to be a change in the menu and chef otherwise I suggest that you eat elsewhere. Too much money for absolutely unpalatable meals. The bar staff was inattentive and slow with service same with the waiters at the restaurant.
Sherrie L — Google review
Let me start by saying that the property was nice. We had a one-room studio with plenty of space for four of us (two adults and two children). The room had a large Jack-and-Jill bathroom and was clean and well-stocked upon our arrival. However, the staff and service fell short of expectations. We often had to request room service, and the instructions provided for these services, such as perks, require improvement. We brought our bikes with us, and I called ahead to check if they offered bike racks. Unfortunately, there were issues with the staff's scooters and some retail items that almost blocked the bike rack located in the back section. Would we stay here again? Perhaps, due to the nice property, but with some improvements in service, it could be much better.

This all-suite hotel features spacious two-bedroom accommodations, some offering delightful garden views. Guests can indulge in the serene atmosphere while being just a stone's throw away from vibrant attractions. The resort boasts two heated pools where you can unwind with chilled towels and refreshing smoothies, alongside complimentary bottled water and fresh fruit to keep you cool under the sun.
We have been to Key West many times, this is our third time staying at Santa Maria Resort and is the only place we will stay when there. The rooms are extremely well appointed and perfect for two couples or family. walking distance to just about everything. This trip was special for us we brought our 16 year old Grandson for his birthday. Matilda was working the front desk while we were there and was over the top accommodating getting us reservations for snorkeling and dinner/breakfast suggestions. She represents the hotel to the highest of hospitality standards. If your looking for a great place to stay while in Key West, Santa Maria Suite is the place!

The hotel is very beautiful and the rooms are lovely, but unfortunately, smoking is allowed everywhere — including around the pool. The pool itself is quite small, and the fact that guests are allowed to smoke cigarettes and cigars there makes it uncomfortable for non-smokers. It’s disappointing, as it discourages many people (like myself) from enjoying the pool area. In my opinion, smoking should be limited to designated areas and not permitted in shared spaces like the pool. This issue significantly impacted my experience, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again for that reason.

I recently stayed here and was warmly greeted by Azul when I entered. She was very helpful with answering questions about the area and food options. The resort is located near Duval street, but on the quieter end of the busy area. There are some wonderful restaurants within walking distance too. The facility is clean and quiet. There are chilled water bottles available by the pool and in the rooms. The unit I stayed in was well maintained, immaculate and comfortable. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Nestled at the top end of Key West near Mallory Square and the city's cruise port, Opal Key Resort & Marina is a newly refurbished 4-star resort featuring 178 spacious accommodations. From cozy standard rooms with ceiling fans and balconies to luxurious two-bedroom suites boasting larger balconies and sleeping space for up to five guests, there's something for everyone.
Best location for Duval and any other spot in Key West. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We went to the southernmost point for the buoy picture and the marina for a Dolphin/snorkeling Sunset cruise. Located directly beside the cruise port so you got to see those arrive and depart. Pool area was nice as well as the onsite restaurant. The street tacos and elites were great! Would definitely return and we are honestly considering bringing our 2 kids next time!

The hotel lobby was very nice and all of the welcoming crew were exceptional. Location was great! We also found the hotel restaurant to be quite nice (even though it was under construction in places) and the food delicious. Rooms has good charging options for devices and we loved the ceiling fan. Going into the rooms I found the property to be in need of TLC with a bit of wear showing all around. We had some water pressure issues with the toilet and faucet though nothing critical. Some of the staff at were not overly friendly when encountered around the property.

We have been coming to Key West for many years. We always like to watch the sunset which is amazing. We went into the establishment with our two dogs. Never been here before and they recommend for us to go upstairs to the balcony. They had just renovated and added a bar with plenty of seating. If you want to watch the sunset this is the place to be. Amazing view and a more than amazing bartender Pedro !!! He told us the upstairs was recently updated with more seating and a bar. If you want to watch the sunset in a laid back environment with no distractions this is the place to be!!! Pedro explained to us the new improvements in the plans. This place is amazing and will only get better. Pedro is the greatest bartender ever with outstanding customer service skills and a great asset for the establishment,

This is the BEST place to stay in Key West, Highly recommend! We had an amazing stay! Booked a Oceanfront room and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. They truly made us feel at home. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained with great attention to detail. We recommend Lolita's and Elevate, also a perfect location for sunsets. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience . This was our second visit and will return!— highly recommend the Opal Key Marina to anyone visiting Key West.

We had an amazing time celebrating our friend’s birthday!! Staff were so super helpful and nice! But Lenka, was absolutely the best! She is an amazing bartender, best espresso martinis and she for sure made our time there sooo much more fun!!! This resort is one of the best ones we have had stayed.

Though the building and the rooms were nice, the service was less than luxurious. The view was beautiful from the room, and the beds were nice enough. However, there wasn't enough coffee for us every day we were there; no coffee or breakfast was offered outside the room, and for a 'resort' I would expect at least coffee for the patrons. Before arriving, we ordered a special deal for our friend's birthday, and they 'forgot' about it even though our friend paid for wine and flowers to be in the room when we arrived. Because of the error, they 'credited' our room $100, but did not tell us how and where we would be able to use the said credit. We couldn't find any number or resource for room service, and ended up trying to 'spend' the credit at the poolside. I was not impressed with the service or the quality of this 'resort'. Also, on our last day, the view of the water at the restaurant was completely blocked by the giant cruise ship parked there, and our peaceful time was encroached upon by the thousands of cruisers who descended upon that section of Key West.

You need more proficient English speakers. This is Florida. It’s the United States. Not Mexico. Not Cuba. Beautiful place. Great housekeeping. But the question, “Where is the gym?” was met with completely blank stares. Also, let’s not start cleaning at 8:00 am when I’m trying to work out. Let’s not get in my way in any way when I’m paying big bucks for my stay. Also, the restaurant “Lolita’s” and the bartenders there need a wake up call.
Paul P — Google review
We had a wonderful time here last week for my birthday, we checked in Monday with a stay planned through Thursday. Although front desk did a wonderful job with helping us extend to checkout on Friday, while also keeping us in our room which was gorgeous! Front desk, pool staff, housekeeping, Lolita servers hostess and bartenders were all wonderful and super friendly. We live in Miami and come to Key west a few times every year, we’ve never stayed here but CANNOT wait to stay again soon! We’ve definitely found our trusted key west hotel🙏🏼 Cannot say enough about the ocean front room! Gorgeous sunset views everyday, such a dream.

Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton offers elegant accommodations in a luxurious beachfront setting. The stylish rooms exude an island vibe with light and sophisticated decor, featuring hardwood or tiled floors, sheer curtains, and neutral tones. The property boasts lush foliage and palm trees on its beautiful grounds, as well as a rare amenity in Key West - a 1,100-foot-long swimmable beach.
This place is gorgeous. We got married here in 2018. Since then it was renovated and the rooms are absolutely beautiful, the service outstanding and the beach restaurant is something out of a resort magazine, very special. Bring your wallet, the fees, of which there are many, add up quickly, but definitely worth every penny! Quiet, beautiful, and peaceful atmosphere throughout. We can’t wait to come back again in a month or so.

Time we are here 10/3 to 10/8 2025. Our first room was hot and the manager said the A/C turns off when theres no activity. It was so hot the temperature said 76 in our room thats strike 1. No view in this room so please check if you are booking online because its not true about the view and they tried to put us in the old part of the hotel. Not at nice Elevator was broken to suites. When we booked our suite it said partial ocean view it wasnt. We also had a keyless entry from our phone also didnt work. Mr Gilbert helped us out. They did move us to another suite. The pillows in our suite smelled bad and something in our room smelled bad when we tried to sleep. I find it gross when you dont put bags in the garbage cans in our room. Very unsanitary. The bar area counter was always dirty and covered with crumbs of food from others. The girls bartenders were sweet but never seen them lift a finger to clean off anything. Unsanitary. Also could you please have other food selections on menu due to seafood allergies. For a luxury hotel i would think you had that plus a vegan or gluten free menu When our room was wrong Patrick was outstanding and moved us to 2013 please check the pillows. For me the pool area had alot of obnoxious loud people, I like to relax but yesterday October 5, 2025 drunk loud people and someone should of told them to shut up. The beach area on the bigger side was peaceful but the water is a dirty brown not clear and garbage was floating in water everywhere. Not much to do walking distance and if you park your car it costs alot. We walked or Uber ed everywhere. I dont think I would stay here again with all our negative experiences. Its truly beautiful but alot of unnecessary issues came with our stay.

I went to key west for this hotel despite the bad reviews believe it or not! Was there first time after Covid, it was amazing. The property is to die for, so I made my point to go back. Well, the service is just like everyone said online. Pretty horrible compare to 5 stars resort level. It used to be Waldorf chain, now it’s curio. I’m not sure which one is better now since I’m fading out of traveling. Anyway, the service is Hilton garden inn level. Very very disappointing all the way from valet guy who doesn’t even care or tell you where to park your car, and after to parked, they didn’t even approached you. We had to walk around find someone. The bar service was slow, staffs was not very polite like nice hotel should, but ok this is key west I guess. No acknowledge to the guest, everyone at the bar was annoyed by the staff’s behavior. The pool guy on evening shift was very rude(the one that look Middle East) he even shut me off with his hand when I tried to order the drink from the pool and he never come back to me after took the order from other people around the pool. That was tick me off so badly. Thankfully the next day the new guy on morning shift (young white kit) saved it. He was very very nice and always pay attention on the guest. Overall it’s a rip off price for the bad service. They should change their chain to Hampton really, so the guest doesn’t expect the service. However, the property is still to die for. In love every bit of it! I’m so confused if I should go back.

Very nice hotel. 2 outdoor pools and service was great at the restaurant. Room was clean and the bedding was very plush. Loved having a balcony with an ocean view and it was an easy walk to the southern most point. Only downside was that the bathroom was very small and no shelf in the shower. Self park is $45 & valet was $50 per night. Bellstand was too busy to help with luggage when we were ready to check out.

I've just had a three night stay at the Casa Marina and loved it. The hotel has lots of character, being an old Flagler building, and is in a stunning setting with lovely pools, grounds and beach. We booked a King ocean view balcony room and it was great. We found the staff efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would return.
Karin T — Google review
The hotel is gorgeous! It is set on a wide section of beach. They have 2 pools, 1 adults only and the other is for families. They have waiters wandering around to take food and drink orders. There is a pier as well as a water sports rental facility right on the property. The restaurant is open air and located between the 2 pools. The food is great. The rooms are very spacious and are equipped with a coffee maker and mini fridge, but the bathrooms are the smallest I've ever squeezed into. The staff is very friendly, but if you need anything like a luggage rack, so your luggage doesn't sit on the floor, good luck. The cons: We had to ask 4 different people over 2 days before we actually were able.to secure a luggage rack for our room. The ac in our room went out and they did fix it, but it took over an hour to get someone there with the tools he needed to fix it at midnight... Our room also had a table with a single chair in it. We asked for a second chair, but in the 4 days we were there, we never received one. For the thousands we spent to be there for a long weekend, you would think they could supply a second chair and a luggage rack. Overall the hotel was gorgeous. We enjoyed or stay minus a couple if inconveniences. I would recommend staying there, but I would say bring your patience if you have any requests.

Pros of the resort: o The resort was absolutely gorgeous and mostly well-maintained. o Beautiful view from the room. They have two pools - families and adult (which happens to be next to the bar). Service and towel service at the pool was good. o Starbucks and gift-shop. o The had someone on-site creating sand sculptures, which were very cool. o Chairs and umbrellas provided on the beach. o Most of the employees were very polite and helpful. o Access to sister property. Cons o Food/Restaurant • Dorada - although it is a beautiful outside restaurant right on the beach, the food was unacceptable. I had a double-cheeseburger that was inedible - think two very overcooked Sysco frozen patties. Two sandwiches and one drink = $91! Tried to share our bad experience with the front desk, they had zero interest in listening to us and suggested an outside restaurant for a "good burger". • Breakfast buffet - looked great but $40 per person. However, with large groups on property, it was turned to private only with a second buffet moved outside with half the options with hot sun beating down on the food. We passed. Same $40 fee. We did not eat on-site again, which was a huge draw to the place. • The nice restaurant was part of the resort but off-site. That defeats the purpose of an on-site restaurant. o The front desk were not that helpful and borderline rude. o Resort fee of almost $70 per day! Does not include parking, not sure what it included. Towels and chair service at the beach was not maintained and looked like it was not even provided. Towels and trash (cups, etc.) were left and no one cleaned it up until "closing time". Chairs with cushions (anything with a cushion) and cabanas were extra. o Had multiple large groups on-site. They over took the dining room, outside common areas, lobby, bar, etc. Individuals like us were made to feel like we were in the way. Very disappointing. o Rooms were not sound proofed. Heard lots of noise at all hours. Open shelves with very few drawers, limited storage space.

The room was nice, the service was not good. It was not cheap to stay there and I do expect normal housekeeping services? We stayed 8 nights and housekeeping was not done 4 nights until I had to ask? Even when I asked they did not come? Great location and we enjoyed our stay but do expect normal house cleaning every day??!

The Marquesa Hotel is a charming Victorian-era hotel with just 27 rooms housed in four restored conch cottages from the late 1800s. The lush gardens feature two secluded swimming pools, providing a tranquil retreat for guests. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished with Brazilian cherry hardwood floors and antique reproduction furnishings. Despite its serene ambiance, the hotel's location is conveniently close to Duval Street and Mallory Square, allowing easy access to Key West's attractions.
This hotel is fabulous! The grounds are lovely, the beds are comfy, and the rooms are well-appointed. The hotel is in the perfect location in Key West. The entire staff is wonderful and we recommend it highly! We actually won the stay because the hotel generously donated a 2 night stay for a humane society charity auction. It is so wonderful when businesses do this! A win/win for sure. The animals benefited and so did we! So nice that they care for their community.

Overall, The Marquesa Hotel delivered an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Our stay at the Marquesa hotel was 10/10. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The bathrooms especially were gorgeous. There are two very nice pools and plenty of chairs and it didn’t feel crowded at all. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable with any questions. We also had breakfast and dinner at the cafe and the food was incredible, the gnocchi in particular at dinner was some of the best gnocchi we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Hotel Marquesa in Key West! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like VIP – incredibly engaging, warm, and attentive without ever being overbearing. Every interaction felt genuine, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The rooms are absolutely luxurious – beautifully designed, spotless, and equipped with ice-cold air conditioning that was an absolute lifesaver in the Florida heat. Coming back to the room after a day of exploring Key West felt like stepping into a private oasis. And then there’s the pool… simply heavenly. Sparkling, perfectly maintained, and surrounded by a serene atmosphere that made lounging there pure bliss. It was the ideal spot to relax, sip a glass of complimentary aqua fresca, and just soak in the vacation vibes. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines luxury, comfort, and genuinely outstanding service, Hotel Marquesa is it! I can’t wait to come back!

This is the second time we stay at The Marquesa Hotel. From the moment we arrived, our experience at The Marquesa Hotel was nothing short of amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located, but what truly set our stay apart from the last time was the exceptional service we received from Monica. Monica went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our visit was perfect. From offering helpful recommendations, assisting with our requests, and always greeting us with genuine warmth and professionalism, they made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our trip unforgettable. Thank you, Monica for making our stay so special!

Boutique hotel, centrally located. Staff is very friendly and service oriented. Problems with the TV in the bedroom that the Tech staff could not resolve. Living room TV was fine. Could not figure out the high tech telephone in the suite...neither could the desk clerk who came to our room. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Quiet atmosphere is like a private oasis.

This is a review of the Marquesa Cafe not the hotel cause I didn’t stay here just stopped by for dinner. Let’s start with the service, it was amazing just peak of the peak. The restaurant was so accommodating too, I came in thinking I could get the 7 course experience but they informed me it was only available for parties of minimum 2. My server talked to the chef and the chef said she would make an exception. Now for the food, it was phenomenal, just fabulous. Everything tasted so fresh and the flavors were just so amazing. I have pictures but I won’t include them cause this is definitely something you should go try for yourself. No sneak peeks!

Located on Eaton Street, it's conveniently situated near the vibrant bars and restaurants of Duval Street. We have been at The Saint for a week and it has been great. The room and property are clean and unique. The restaurant on property is really good. The staff has been friendly, helpful and made sure if we had any needs they were met. The beds are comfortable, like laying on a cloud. The property is quiet until the roof tip bar opens then it gets a little louder but not over the top or anything. Overall a really nice place to stay.

A lovely experience at The Saint. From check-in to departure, it was an excellent experience. Comfortable room, great pool, central location to downtown... Used the free bicycles to go to the beach, a 4 minute ride to Zack Taylor Park. Quick & easy walk to most Duval Street locations. Amazing, friendly and capable staff. Great time, great accommodations, great people.

The bar service was exceptional, with a fantastic selection of drinks and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. A special shoutout to Mike Owens, the bar manager, whose kindness and friendliness shone through in every interaction. He created a welcoming atmosphere that made both guests and staff feel valued. The nightly live music was the cherry on top, adding a vibrant energy to the evenings. It was the perfect backdrop for unwinding after a day in the sun. Overall, The Saint is a gem in Key West, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!

Great hotel, right in the middle of everything! everyone was very nice, even got a glass of champagne on check-in! The rooms range from very small, up to a penthouse suite with a kitchen. some of them open up right onto the pool. The air conditioning worked fantastic! Our room even had a extra dehumidifier in it as well. The rooms are situated in different buildings surrounding the pool and lobby area. there is an on-site restaurant, and rooftop bar. The only downsides were, there was no bottle filler, you had toasktgefront desk; and the water pressure in the entire hotel was a little low.

Worst experience at Ibis Bay Beach Resort I honestly didn’t like this place at all. The bathroom was so tiny I could barely move in the shower, and there was no hot water — the water came out like light rain drops. When I asked to change to a room with a bigger shower, they wanted an extra $50. I agreed, but that room smelled so bad I couldn’t even stay there for a minute. The blinds gave no privacy, and there’s no elevator, which made carrying luggage very hard. The rooms are small, uncomfortable, and look nothing like the pictures online. Totally not worth the money or the stress — I’ll never come back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Dharani D — Google review
Location was absolutely perfect! We loved that we were able to rent bikes and go around town. Checking in was smooth - however the man working the front desk was extremely passive aggressive. The room had ants and the shower was dirty. The room also had carpet which was inconvenient when coming back from the beach all sandy. I also don’t understand what the resort fee was for???? And no one could explain to me what the fee was for. Probably wouldn’t come back.
Sophia S — Google review
It’s a very nice hotel, especially for families with children. The place looks great; it’s located close to a road, but that didn’t bother us. The pool is really fun, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A small piece of advice for the hotel: pay a bit more attention to the small details; it could be just a little tidier. The atmosphere is excellent, and it feels great to return to the resort after a busy day. The restaurant prices are on the higher side, it’s not the most affordable option, but the quality of the food is excellent!

Celebrated my 3 year anniversary at this resort and had the best time. We rented bikes here which was only $18 for 24 hours. There is a private beach, turtles, parrots, a really nice pool. The restaurant stoned crab was really good, and if you stay here you can get free fish dip from the restaurant when you get two entrees. I recommend the lobster mac and cheese. You can also do shark feeding. The free breakfast was also really good here!

Absolutely do not trust what they tell you. I was looking at Ibis Bay Resort through Capital One Travel in August for a trip in October. I called the hotel directly to inquire about shuttle service to downtown Key West. I was assured that they have regular shuttle service included to downtown. Imagine my surprise when checking in and I asked when their shuttle service was, I was told that they had cancelled it a year ago. I cancelled the reservation and was told there would be full refund. Then when I go through Capital One Travel to process the refund, they tell me that Ibis Bay was not doing the full refund. Absolutely unacceptable. They lied to me twice, once about the shuttle service, then again about the full refund. Do not stay here at all.
Dave M — Google review
When you arrive to check in, you will charged a resort fee. The floors were slick when we walked in as if there was oil on the floor. The room had mold and smelled like mildew. After the first night we started feeling sick. After we left we started to feel better. We believe this was from the mold after we researched. The staff aren’t friendly or inviting. We were not compensated when we brought the issues to their attention. In the early morning hours we could hear staff walking around in what I assume was an attic storage area over our room. Booking.com was no help either when we brought this to their attention. I would rather use Expedia from now on.
GEARLENE E — Google review
Yes the rooms where small but it is a key west small quaint resort. So much attractions for kids and beautiful location. The building is typical old keys building not much insulation I felt bad for the AC running all the time yet it would get hot in heartbeat their electric bill should be very high. We eat at the restaurant good food reasonable prices, they have twice a day shark feeding so attractive for kids. Not far from Duval street we drove down but there's users and lyft all the time. They even had golf cart rentals, evening kayak tours and much more. Will definitely book again when I visit key west.

My husband and I went here for his 50th birthday. Everything about our experience was WONDERFUL! We had the most incredible time by the pool, so many incredible seating options & the temperature was always perfect! Jacuzzi time at night was awesome! Their dining was fresh, DELICIOUS and conveniently charged to our room. The staff is warm and welcoming and they greet you with complimentary homemade, FRESH, WARM cookies!!! Such a spectacular experience. We plan on going back for any special occasion from her on out!

First of all, Google maps shows free parking but actually they charged $21.50 per night. I recommend to change the information. This is the only thing I haven’t expected. Also, They gave me a $36 hilton credit but did not mentioned the detail when I was check in. I used it at night for drinks then I could not use that remained credit next morning. Every staff is friendly and kindly. This hotel is under construction for renew. I did not feel uncomfortable sounds. No big problem. They have a pool area, and we can use it anytime. It helped us to playing water with sons. The room gave us the weird smell like a toilet air fresher. Room it self is nice. Hotel location also nice. Totally, I satisfied to this hotel. I will recommend to my friends visiting Key West.

All the staff was very nice and courteous, especially Michelle. The room was nice! We had a wheelchair accessible room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! The roll-in shower was very nice. The shuttle to downtown was a nice convenience although there was only one vehicle with a working wheelchair lift. This made it challenging for us as we had to call before the hour to let them know we were ready to go back to the hotel.

On behalf of the USCGC INGHAM Association, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for the exceptional support and service during the USCGC INGHAM Association 2025 Reunion held from September 30th to October 2nd, 2025 at the Doubletree Hilton-Key West. Thanks to Victoria Petzold, Director of Sales and Angie Leynes, Catering Sales Coordinator and their meticulous attention to detail, the event was a resounding success. The hospitality and banquet rooms were beautifully arranged, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. The banquet itself was a highlight—every hors d’oeuvre and plated meal was outstanding, both in presentation and flavor. In addition to our members, our Officers and Board of Trustees were especially impressed, and many commented on the seamless coordination and gracious hospitality throughout the week. It’s clear that both of you are true assets to the Doubletree Hilton at Key West. Your professionalism, creativity, and care made all the difference. As the organizer, I can confidently say this reunion would not have been possible without your dedication and expertise. Thank you again for helping us create such meaningful memories. You’re simply the best! Warm regards, Lynn Conley USCGC INGHAM Association Reunion Organizer

Very nice hotel. The pool is a plus. On the other hand, we were repeatedly checked to access the breakfast, even though we had given our voucher. The breakfast is not very varied. The rooms are of good size and the staff (except for the breakfast) is charming. The outdoor parking is paid, and the value for money of the hotel which is unbeatable. The restaurant is very decent. I had to cancel one night for family reasons and the person at the reception accepted this cancellation without any problem, I thank her.

Hotel could not be faulted. Convenient for airport with free shuttle back and forth. Hourly free shuttle downtown was very efficient. Our king room suite was large and clean. Nice pool.Excellent breakfasts. Staff were always courteous and helpful

As soon as we got to the room we could hear construction noise which we weren't expecting to have or I would have chose a different room. The service at breakfast was subpar in the morning and the buffet selection was ok but nothing great. The shuttle to Duval Street was easy to use going and coming from downtown keywest. It ran on time and never had any problems with getting the shuttle. It was raining most of the trip so we weren't able to use the pool area unfortunately. The hot water in the room was actually labeled as cold in the bathtub. This was annoying but eventually figured it out. The room was ok but nothing great. Asked for an upgrade as a Diamond member and didn't receive any upgrades for a room. Parking is 20 plus taxes a day. It was easy to find parking but no dedicated Diamond member parking. Didn't find much value in the 30 dollar a day resort charge either other than the shuttle.

We were in Key West for a Celebration of Life reception for my Dad. From start to finish the DoubleTree was amazing. Michael Knowles, General Manager guided us to the right personnel for everything. Victoria and Angie, along with Tyrone in catering/banquet did a fantastic job. Angie was meticulous with her response time and follow-up. Our guests were commenting on the quality and presentation of the food. The room was beautiful and the service during the event was superb! Many of us stayed at the recently beautifully-renovated hotel and it was truly paradise in Key West. There’s even a free shuttle all day long to the downtown area. The views of the sunrise were amazing. The pool area is gorgeous and tropical. We used the restaurant there and all had very good service and food. The Cobb Salad with shrimp on top was so good. I don’t want to forget the front desk team who were all exceptional. They even were sensitive to the reason we were there in the first place. Thanks to the staff at DoubleTree.

The Marker Key West is a luxurious 4-star resort located in Old Town, Key West. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and features three outdoor pools, including an adults-only pool. The resort underwent a $3 million renovation and now boasts spacious accommodations and first-rate dining experiences at its Starboard restaurant, which is perfect for enjoying Key West sunsets.
Definitely going back! My husband booked through a 3rd party and didn't even realize it. Internet can be tricky. Worked out fine. It was very close to his fave breakfast place, Harpoon Harry's. I usually don't want breakfast so Cuban Coffee Queen takes care of that, all right nearby the hotel. Schooners Wharf is right in front of us and the sun setting over the boats is beautiful, if you have one of those rooms. Pool area was well maintained and nice, they have dual pools! Nice bar setup, but $29 for a small bloody Mary and one NUTRL was pretty crazy. They also have a made to order breakfast window. I believe there's a restaurant somewhere, but we never looked. Can't wait to go back!

I have stayed here at least five times and this time is my last. I used to love this place. Location is amazing and rooms are decent and clean though sound pours through the doors. Customer service is non-existent. But two breakfast servers were amazing and deserve praise: Rose and Jason were awesome. The front desk staff either has zero manners or zero flexibility. Others are newly hired and under-trained. Housekeeping didn’t come on Day 2 - asked me at 4:30p if I wanted service, I asked if they could come back in 15 minutes so I could leave the room - they were frustrated but agreed. I left, they never came back. For the money, you can do so much better than the Marker these days.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. 3 pools to choose from for great options. The room was clean and the view was great. The king bed was not a standard king size bed (which we have at home) so getting used to a smaller bed was a bit of an issue. I asked the hotel and was told that it was "how all of the king beds are at the hotel" and there was nothing that can be done. Other than that, it was a great stay.

We stayed 5 nights at The Marker in Key West. It was a nice hotel in a great location. The grounds are gorgeous with lush gardens. The service was good. The sister hotel at the Southernmost Point had a much larger pool right beside a sand beach, and we were able to visit there as part of our amenities. Great hotel and would love to revisit.

We stayed at the marker for 5 days. The hotel is nice - room was clean and had room service everyday. The pool is nice and always has activities and a daily drink special. The location is the best part of this hotel being right on the marina it was convenient for all our boating activities! the beds/pillows are very comfortable. We were on an end room near the main elevator so we were nervous it would be loud - but it wasn’t at all! The staff were all very nice and always willing to help. Only “complaint” I would have is there are no microwaves in the room or available at all - which kinda sucked when you had leftovers. But it’s a minor inconvenience for the overall experience!

The hotel room carpet was disgusting. I had to put towels down just to walk on the floor without shoes just to feel normal. For the rate of the room it most definitely should come with clean shampooed carpet. If the carpet can’t be cleaned regularly pull it up. We ended up checking out the next morning and driving to Miami to finish out our anniversary trip. This was my last time staying at The Marker and this was an annual trip because we got married here 9yrs ago. There was no follow with management about our concerns, so hubs said we’re out of here. Poor management results in poor performance! I was relieved once we checked in at the Palms in Miami so I could reset and enjoy the rest of my vacation. I thank God for my husband who simply cares to fix problems!

The property is well-maintained, in a great location, and offers excellent in-room air conditioning. The pool bar is spacious and provides outstanding service. However, my experience was ruined by the dishonesty of the housekeeping and maintenance staff. I accidentally left two items in the locked safe after checking out. When I contacted the front desk, they assured me they would handle the matter and mail the items to me. They sent the housekeeping supervisor and a maintenance worker to retrieve them, but later claimed the safe was empty. I am certain the items were inside, and the safe was definitely locked when I left.

Hotel is lovely. Staff seems great too. It would have been nice to know they were going into renovations in the pool area the week of our stay. They’re basically chipping out the bottom of one of the pools and the noise is unbearable. They decided to inform us the night before. Not cool at all.

H2O Suites Hotel is a contemporary property located in the heart of Key West, just steps away from Duval Street. This adults-only resort offers chic suites with amenities such as flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, and private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Some suites feature individual plunge pools, private balconies or patios, spa-style bathrooms with soaking tubs and rainfall showers. This place was the perfect spot to stay in Key West. Walking distance from a bunch of great restaurants and services. Only a couple blocks off Duval st. as well as the Southern Most Point Marker. Shout out to Wilfred, he was incredible and made us feel at home and appreciated. He attended to getting us settled as well as helping us secure a golf cart to travel around the island. Complimentary Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's on Saturday were an awesome touch. Then to top it off we received a really cool departure gift at checkout to remind us of our amazing Key West weekend.

Very exclusive and peaceful boutique hotel that is still walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Property is well maintained. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. The private pool is great for relaxing right outside your own room. They provide water, fruits, snacks, and free daily happy hour by the rooftop bar. Good customer service. We really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back. They were incredibly welcoming and the rooms and grounds were super clean and comfy. The location was perfect, just off the beaten path but minutes to everything, walking distance or bike rentals available. The gym was perfect and clean and the rooftop pool and bar was our favorite too. Highly recommend, reasonable rates and all around a beautiful place !

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay at H2O. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and the rooms were gorgeous — spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect, on the quieter side of Key West, which made for a truly relaxing stay. Everything about H2O exceeded our expectations.

We fo to Key West about every 2 years, this was the first time we stayed at H2O. It was a great experience. The staff were wonderful and the room with the private pool was amazing. It is located just around the block from Duval St and close to the beach. We will be staying here again for sure!
Tina M — Google review
I wrote this review primarily to help anyone considering H2o Suites Hotel who might have any kind of physical disability affecting going up and down two flights of stairs to access a room. I am also thinking about those of us who are older and just don’t want to deal with the hassle anymore, especially when luggage is involved. However, I have also included some tips at the end to make the most of your stay if you do choose H2o. * * * * * I have a chronic neurological condition, peripheral neuropathy, which affects my feet and balance. As a general rule, it has not impacted our past travels. However, that all changed a couple of weeks before our visit to Key West. My physician unintentionally prescribed something for me that sent my condition into overdrive, making it painful to walk and my leg muscles very weak. In preparation for our trip, I called organizers for our planned excursions a week prior to make sure they were still possible with my condition and was relieved that most of the companies could accommodate me. The last thing on my mind was H2o. Who would imagine that a 5-star luxury hotel would not have elevators for guest rooms? On a whim, I Googled whether they did and was shocked to learn that their elevator does not – it only goes to the rooftop bar/pool and the second-floor gym (so ironic). This was going to be a problem for me, so I called to ask if any options were available. The front desk person was lovely, but not helpful. “If only we had known earlier, we could have made some type of adjustment,” she said. I asked if, at the very least, someone could help with my bags – she confirmed that someone would be available to do that. What I learned later is that she checked on their ONE ADA-compliant room which was already occupied at that time. In retrospect, I should have asked if a first-floor room was a possibility but I did not know the building floor plan. Money was not an issue for the upgraded room, but I was not given that option. It was past their 14-day cancellation period, so we could not back out to arrange for other accommodations either. When we checked in a week later, nobody was available to help with our bags. The young woman who checked us in had absolutely no empathy for our situation either which made things worse. She actually seemed irritated at having to deal with us. My husband had to handle all of the bags after our long day of travel and I was simply traumatized. This may sound like an exaggeration, but it was not . . . walking up and down the two flights of stairs was frightening, especially after any rain. I almost did not want to leave the room. Bottom line is that H2o needs to disclose the fact that they do not have an elevator to the second-floor guest rooms! It is not mentioned on their web site anywhere and was not included in their confirmation email. * * * * * H2o Extras: - In-room: Upgraded toiletries & robes; complimentary frozen Dove bars & muffins (eh . . . if you have other options, go with those). - On-property: Welcome glass of champagne; at the full-service rooftop bar, complimentary mimosas or bloody marys in the late morning (opens at 11:00 am) with small snack, if requested. In the afternoon after 1:00 pm until 5:30 pm, wine or sangria. - Parting gift: It was a thoughtful gesture, but the candle they gave us when we checked out became a problem – it was bulky to add to our already full baggage. And, it was a red flag at the airport, so I was pulled aside and my bag checked. - Coupons: If you look behind the TripAdvisor review request in your room key sleeve, there are two tickets for drinks at The Tipsy Rooster. Unfortunately, we did not discover them until we were home. Really a shame, because we visited the bar a few times without knowing they were there. - Misc.: The icemaker is awesome but start it when you arrive because it takes a while to produce much.

Loved our stay at H2O Suites. Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Shanieka and Winffild. The rooms were large, clean and beautifully decorated. The complimentary champagne, water, chocolates, muffins and ice cream bars were such a nice touch. The pool was lovely, although there was never anyone running the pool bar while we were there. Take note, the 2nd floor rooms are walk up only. The elevator that goes to the pool does not access those rooms. I would definitely recommend for couples and anyone wanting a nice quiet place to stay.

This is a great adults only boutique style hotel in the absolute best location in Key West. We had a balcony room and were pleased we hadn’t booked a pool room, which were all fully shaded and the rooftop pool was brilliant! We have stayed in much better 5 star hotels around the world but tbh I don’t think we could have chosen anywhere better in Key West! The pool staff were lovely but reception need to learn how to smile more:-) The coffee machine in the room was total pants and the balcony could have cleaned more often but other than that the room was great for our 13 nights! A 2 minute walk from the room and we were in Duval Street for breakfast and the great nightlife. I would definitely recommend the H20 hotel and would stay here again❤️

My husband and I recently celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at this incredible hotel, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special and genuinely appreciated. This hotel is located right in the mist of everything and in walking distance. On the day of our anniversary after being out for part of the morning , when we returned to our room, we were surprised and delighted to find a beautiful bottle of wine and a selection of delicious treats waiting for us, a thoughtful touch that truly set the tone for the entire stay. The room itself was elegant, immaculately clean, and so cozy. Every detail from the luxurious bedding to the soft lighting helped create the perfect romantic atmosphere. Throughout our stay, the service was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and eager to make our experience unforgettable. We also enjoyed the hotel’s amenities and dining, which were top-notch in both quality and ambiance. This trip exceeded all of our expectations. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, and we’re already planning to return for another special occasion. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful memories!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the La Concha Key West. The property is located in the center of most everything. We were very much impressed by the Hospitality here as well as a very attentive staff. We had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with the GM as well as the food and beverage manager, they were down to earth and you could tell they love the hotel and want all guests to have an excellent experience. We did experience an issue during our stay and it was very promptly and professionally addressed by Brittney, she could have not been more helpful and professional. I do not do many hotel reviews but when you have experienced exceptional service in today's world it should be recognized. Thank you Marriott and the La Concha, Key West for a great vacation.

Beautiful resort and friendly people. Good attitudes all around. was incredible - he greeted us, made us feel welcome. We arrived early, our room wasn’t ready so the front desk accommodated us nicely and put us in a different, but just as nice room. Diav put our luggage in storage while we waited. Great experience here.

The lady at the front desk at night overcharged us for our deposit and was also rude. The room was extremely small. Cleanliness was below average and the thermostat for the AC didn’t work. Due to location there was a lot of noise throughout the night. The gentleman that checked us out in the morning was nice. He also was the one who informed us about being overcharged and resolved the issue. The only enjoyable thing of hotel is the main lobby. Everything else does not justify the 4 star rating for this hotel. The roosters in the parking lot were a nice touch though.

Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were ridiculously nice, and the hotel’s central location made it easy to walk or bicycle almost anywhere of interest. The on-site food was reasonably priced (especially compared to most places on Duval), and the drinks were absolutely incredible—probably the best we had during our vacation. They were delicious, beautifully made, and crafted by bartenders who felt more like chefs. The atmosphere was lively yet charming, with salsa nights in the bar downstairs and plenty of historic character to take in. Staying in such a historic hotel was a unique experience—beautiful overall, even with its age showing in certain areas. That said, there were some inconveniences: a leaking ceiling, a none working bathroom, and a few times towels weren’t replaced. The staff, however, were quick and accommodating whenever issues came up, which made all the difference. We also noticed one discrepancy between a bar receipt and our final bill, which felt a bit off, but it didn’t dull the overall experience. In the end, we had everything we needed—affordable food, world-class drinks, friendly service, and a beautiful setting full of history. I just wish the hotel offered guided tours to share more of its past. Despite a few hiccups, it was a memorable stay and one we truly enjoyed.

This hotel is in a great location. Most of the staff is friendly and nice. However, the front desk girl was not very nice. We are gold elite Marriott members and for all the money we have spent in marriotts all over the world we expect to be treated with class and respect. She was unprofessional and had a huge attitude. We arrived at 3:30 and were told our check in time was not guaranteed until 4. Our room was not ready until after four. Also, I spilled some water in the floor in the room and the floor was filthy. I mean FILTHY. Overall the room appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. I attached a photo of the filthy floor. Do better Marriott especially for your elite guests. We can easily use another chain of hotels. There are plenty available.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the front desk staff and offered complimentary Prosecco. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and our room was prepared a bit earlier than the promised 4 PM check-in time. The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff was exceptionally attentive. The hotel’s convenient location in the heart of Duvall Street made it easy to access restaurants and local attractions. The manager, Jenn, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was truly special, and we can’t wait to return.

This hotel is in a great location, but it's a flip for sure. The main lobby and restaurants are beautiful, the staff is nice but once you get into the rooms that's where it ends. We had a Jr. King Suite, the room looked nice, but then you see all the misses. Our toilet paper holder fell off the wall and was never fixed in the 5 days we were there. The bathroom shower was peeling, and the air conditioner didn't get the room below 70 degrees. The worst was house keeping, everyday we had to call down for towels, hand towels, and wash rags, we left a not for extra towels and still didn't get it. They never vacuumed or cleaned the floors. The shower was never cleaned. It was definitely not what you expected from this brand. Won't be staying here again.

Havana Cabana Key West is a vibrant and hip hotel that captures the essence of Cuban art and culture with its tropical design, classic cars, and Cuban-themed decor. The largest pool in Key West offers a refreshing escape with cabanas, hammocks, and lounge chairs. Guests can savor classic Cuban cuisine at the Floridita Food Truck while enjoying ice-cold mojitos and great music by the pool.
Our long weekend at the Havana Cabana in Key West was absolutely fantastic. This hotel truly captures the relaxing, laid-back vibe of the Keys while providing top-notch amenities and service. The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautifully large pool. It's the perfect spot to unwind, soak up the sun, and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. We also highly recommend the Cuban French toast—a delicious and unique twist on a breakfast classic that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our room was also a standout. It was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room for us to relax after a day of exploring. What truly made our stay special, though, was the exceptional service we received. The hotel's pet-friendly policy was a huge plus, and we were so grateful for Joe's friendly and thoughtful service at check-in. He made us feel so welcome and even provided our small puppy with her own bowls and toys—a gesture that went above and beyond our expectations. We also want to thank David and Chris for their kind and helpful service in accommodating our requests, making sure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend the Havana Cabana for anyone looking for a pet-friendly hotel with great service, a gorgeous pool, and a comfortable stay in Key West. We can't wait to come back!

My husband and I booked a room at this hotel for a weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. We spent a lot of time carefully choosing where to stay, and Havana Cabana seemed to check all the boxes. Although it was more expensive than we originally planned, we decided to splurge because it appeared to be the perfect spot. However, on the morning of our reservation, we received a text from the hotel informing us that due to construction, our reservation had been moved to a different property. This came as a complete shock—especially with no advance notice or clear explanation. We immediately reached out to the manager to express our confusion and disappointment. My husband explained that it was my birthday weekend and that such a last-minute change would completely derail our plans. We asked about the possibility of a refund or any form of compensation, given the inconvenience and lack of communication, but were told none would be offered. To make matters worse, the hotel we were transferred to was entirely different—much larger, crowded with families, and lacking the boutique atmosphere we had specifically chosen. One of the main reasons we picked Havana Cabana was for its smaller, more relaxing environment, along with its pool and easily accessible food options. I can’t express how disappointed I am with how this was handled. I’m still at a loss as to how management feels it’s acceptable to relocate guests on the day of their stay without offering any sort of refund or consideration.

The pool bar at Havana Cabana is an amazing spot to unwind and enjoy the Key West vibe. The atmosphere is laid-back and tropical, with great music and a beautiful setting by the water. The food service was a bit slow, but honestly, it was worth the wait. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The drinks were also fantastic and refreshing. Overall, a great experience — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Horrible time. If you’re looking for relaxation, avoid this motel. I booked 7 nights and regretted it. I needed a place to rest during early morning dives. They played loud music from 8 am to 11pm whether there was people in pool area or not. Rooms are mediocre at best. Prices for food and drink were outrageous. Also, they charge a daily resort fee of $61. Which is not part of the booking fee. This place almost ruined my time.

This has been our favorite place to stay, out of all the place we have been to. Great location, relaxing atmosphere, very chill(except if there is something going on like fun fest, then it’s the place to be if you like to party),pool is huge, the tiki bar is right next to it, so is the food truck(it’s a cool airstream), plenty of games to play, a shuttle to downtown/airport, they also rent scooters,it’s a resort ,and a hot tub.The rooms are cozy and the staff are great. This is our go to place to visit in the keys. P.S right next store you can rent a golf cart or a jeep. So you can walk over and drop it off without an Uber. P.S.S it was my 50th so they gave me a bottle of champagne. Thank you very much!

Lovely resort full of good vibes, and music! Very helpful and kind staff! The rooms are very spacious and equipped with all comforts! The only upsetting thing was having to pay for breakfast and only have a choice of a big savoury breakfast. We Italians, only like a good coffee and a pastry for breakfast but I understand it's not done in the States! Highly recommended!

We spent two nights at Havana Cabana. While the hotel is a bit off the beaten path, it's perfect if you're driving, with easy and convenient parking. The rooms are spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is modern and nicely designed. The front desk staff were professional, welcoming, and always smiling, which added to the warm atmosphere. There were, however, two issues that I believe could easily be improved. First, the music, it's far too loud, both in the lobby and outside, and sometimes goes on until 11:00 PM. Since we had early morning activities planned, this was a bit disruptive. Second, the breakfast setup. It's served from a food truck in a very warm area, which really lacks charm. It’s a shame, especially considering there’s a beautiful lounge just next door that could easily be transformed into a much more inviting breakfast space. For a 4 stars hôtel, it's not good at all... Aside from these points, it was still a great place to stay. The Cuban vibe was there.

Great rooms! Great decor. It is just off the main road so it is a little loud with the traffic. The view is still pretty good from room 312. The balcony is a good size. It is also fairly close to everything you need. I would recommend this for extended stays especially if you plan on eating out. The stove and mini fridge are a bit on the small side.

This hotel should not be considered 3 stars they go beyond that. I stayed in the spacious king bedroom suite with an ocean view a huge balcony and a full kitchen for less than $200 a night. The day I departed I went and stayed at a five star hotel and had none of the amenities or services I had while staying at the Laureate. This is a wonderful hotel and I will remember the few days I spent here for years to come and will come back to stay here.

Very pleasant hotel! We were pleasantly surprised. The grand room is very large, very clean, and has a beautiful view. Attentive and polite staff. Good pool and easy access to the city and other attractions.

I stayed here for a week and it was a dream! I recommend it to anyone visiting Key West, is only 10mins from Duval street and in the same street you have the biggest bike rental place. The hotel was clean, the service was great and always quick, the best staff!! The VIEWS were just perfect no matter the time, i will be back ! 🙂🙂

Great place to stay in Key West. Close to everything. The pool is excellent for families and the games section by the pool is great for kids. Having chilled water bottle’s readily available is perfect for those warm days! The suite is very nice and the kitchen is great for families to make food and not have to eat out if they don’t want to.

Was not worth what I paid and would not stay again. Entering our room we immediately saw cockroaches in the bathroom sink and on the floor. There was also cockroach or bug dropping in the towels… (luckily was provided with more) As well as ants in the shower and kitchen. I did let the hotel staff know and was asked if we wanted pest control, but why would I want chemicals added into my room, that should be done on a schedule when guest are not staying. Floors were dirty and did have a moldy scent in the room, wonder if thats why my guest and I had stuffy noses every morning. Overall the room was comfy balcony wasn't bad but wish I had known what the very partial ocean view actually was, trees covering it and half the building was blocking (wish pictures were included with booking rooms). Also beware of the doors, very heavy and slam shut. Wasn’t pleased with this place stayed 10/9-10/12.

Historical landmark
Winslow's Bungalows, part of the Key West Historic Inns Collection, is a charming retreat located just two blocks from Duval Street. The property consists of multiple classic Key West-style cottages and former homes surrounded by lush tropical foliage. Each room is uniquely designed, offering a retro-chic decor that exudes a sense of history and elegance.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. A few days before our arrival, they called to thank me for my reservation and to see if I had any questions about the property. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door and both staff members in the office were so kind and accommodating. The path to our room was lined with ferns and beautiful landscaping, like walking into a tropical oasis. Our room was just beautiful, very clean and inviting. The bathroom and shower were just gorgeous, like a high end spa with soothing tiles and relaxing lighting. Each morning I was up before dawn and walked the quiet pathway lined with beautiful lighting and landscaping to the delicious coffee bar. I will always stay here when visiting Key West. My friends stayed at another hotel a few blocks away and I was sorry that they did not get to experience Winslow's.

We had a great stay at this property. The location was great for us to bum around Key West for a couple days. The staff was great, loved the 2 pools, and the breakfast was great! Rooms are a good size and the air conditioning was awesome. Everything was clean and well maintained that we saw. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay here! The bungalow style set-up made it feel like our room had a private entrance and private pool since it was only shared with a few other rooms. We hardly saw another guest except when we went to breakfast or to the outdoor bar (which was just a quick walk. 150yds, maybe?). Everything was clean and fresh. Also just a couple blocks off of Duval, where lots of fun bars and restaurants are located, was perfect. We could hop back and forth without feeling like it was too long of a walk. We can't wait to stay here again. (Not pictured, the huge bathroom. It was great too!)

My uncles suggested this place, and it was great! The atmosphere is unbeatable with meandering paths to the pools, bar or private bungalows, and it's walking distance from the amazing restaurants and shopping of Mallory Square. The only drawback was in the small bathroom in our room. Although the shower was large, the sink area was not, and the shower door opened out instead of in, so my wife hit her elbow on the shower door multiple times before deciding to give up getting ready in the bathroom. This issue can easily be remedied by changing the shower door to open inward, as there is plenty of room in the shower. This will keep our ladies' elbow in tact! Great experience overall, and we'll be back the next time we're in Key West!

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful grounds, rooms and pools. Staff was excellent! So friendly, helpful and welcoming. Gave lots of suggestions and helpful. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE!! Very close to everything. The staff reserved bikes for us but we only used them once bc we were able to walk to everything. We will be returning and suggesting Winslow to everyone!

Will return! Pools both got great sun. A live musician played during mid morning. There’s a lovely lounging deck near the bar/breakfast area. A microwave, water and ice were available 24/7 in the breakfast area. The only change I’d make is upgrading to a larger room. #61 was a “Winslow room” and didn’t give much space, but it worked. We really enjoyed coming here

🌴 A hidden gem in Florida — unforgettable stay! 🌴 We stayed in one of the bungalows for three nights, and it was truly the best time we’ve had during our entire trip. Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at in Florida, this one was by far the best — nothing else even comes close. I found myself admiring this place every single minute. The atmosphere is calm, beautiful, and full of warmth. You can clearly see that the owners genuinely love what they do — everything is maintained with such care and pride. The entire property was spotless, the attention to detail was impressive, and the vibe was simply perfect. The guests were kind and respectful, creating a very pleasant and peaceful environment. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious — something new every morning, made with love and care. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a place to fall in love with. I left with unforgettable memories and already dream of coming back again and again. I highly recommend it to anyone considering — you won’t regret it! 💫

We had a room close to the main pool which is quite convenient. The little front yard gives the room privacy. The hotel spent a lot of money on the renovations but the AC units didn't break the bank. They are older, make a lot of noise and blow right onto the bed. I would strongly advise earplugs. Bathroom is poorly designed and somewhat claustrophobic. That said, the whole place is gorgeous, the mail pool incredible by Key West standards, the outdoor bar amazing. Breakfast could use some work, everything is clearly precooked and store bought from savory to sweet. Will we go back? Absolutely because despite what I mentioned, it remains one of the best hotels in Key West.

Coconut Mallory Resort And Marina By Kees Vacations is a waterfront resort in Key West, offering casual condos with kitchen facilities and balconies. The property features two pools, a marina, free self-parking, an outdoor swimming pool, and a picnic area. It's conveniently located near Key West attractions such as the Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and Sheriff's Animal Farm. Guests have praised the spacious townhouse accommodations with full kitchens and balconies where smoking is permitted.
Cute small place to stay in Key West. The kitchens are well equipped with utensils, seasonings, etc. There's a pool, hot tub, grill, and laundry machines. I really only took points off of location because it is REALLY awkward to get in and park. It's very tight and we accidentally went in the first two entrances before we found the actual entrance. Other than that it's nice though. Friendly chickens too.

Nice place to stay. Close to a very nice beach. Two nice pools. Everything was good except one day during our stay while we were getting ready. The water was turned off without telling us. We couldn't take showers. Had to use bottle waters to brush our teeth. I'm not sure how long the water was off. That, of course, was the one day we had something to do at a certain time. It was back on that evening when we got back.

Terrible experience. Our room was 85 degrees because the A/C didn’t work, so we did not sleep well. We were told breakfast would be available on Tues/Thurs, but it wasn’t. One night the fire alarm went off and we had to stand outside for an hour. (I am the who had to call 911 since alarms were going off for over 5min). The next morning, a family member got stuck in the elevator for 25 minutes! Maintenance was very persistent and told us to NOT call 911 even though he has a heart condition. We requested a lower-level room due to physical disabilities and were still put on the 3rd floor. Only positives: location was good (about 2 miles from downtown), parking was fine, and the pools were decent. Everything else was a a huge disappointment. We would not stay here again.

This is a nice, renovated older hotel that has large rooms and a large walk-in shower. I enjoyed our small patio. The option of an omelet with the included breakfast is wonderful. The small pool has a waterfall, which is a fun option. My only issue is that kids take over the pool a lot. The grounds, cleaning and office staff were wonderful.

0 WORST PLACE EVER! DON'T BOOK. Manager is rude and literally yelling over the phone to nice front desk worker. The place was filthy. So many signs on this place we felt it was over kill and childish. Manager broke ADA laws too by refusing to give us keys because of my certified registered trained documented service dogs. We had given notice when we booked months ahead and she waited til day before check in to EMAIL, not call, to refuse dogs. We were already on the road! Then wants $500 to have them there so no dogs policy just goes away for money? Then we check in to filth. Pictures show all. The pool area was useless after sundown due to way too bright spot light too. YOU ARE WARNED, DON'T BOOK HERE!

Coconut Mallory was the BEST experience ever. Got there after hours, had our envelope waiting for us not only with the keys but with a note detailing all of our needs. Thanks so much Dave Smith & Jenny Eppy, my daughters 21st birthday vacation trip was beyond fantastic. The area by the office super tropical, cozy and colorful. This place is a hidden gem, the apartment felt like being at home, everything clean, all neat & comfortable. The common area was fabulous. We had a bbq right by our room super clean with gas & all. Enjoyed some burgers in the grill one of the afternoons. The pools super clean even had noodles & floaties, the hammock by the pool & the awesome bbq sitting area very colorful. A home away from home & life memories, thanks again David Smith & Jenny Eppy from our family 🙏

We stayed at Coconut Mallory March 30 to April 4 2025. It was a pleasant stay. We loved our room, the space, and the location. I want to rate this higher but I cant for a few key reasons. The air didn't go upstairs very well which made it pretty hot to sleep, even with fans. The coffee pot and toaster were broken and our wifi was not working. My biggest complaint is the room next to us was a smoking room and it's all I could smell as a former smoker, not an awesome experience. Otherwise, overall great place to stay and Id definitely stay again.

This resort was a transfer from another timeshare that my husband owns. Upon arrival at resort we were told that it would cost another 300.00 to stay at this resort. $150.00 for parking and another $140.00 for resort fees. We had flown from Massachusetts to Ft. Lauderdale and drove to the Keys so we did not have much choice but to pay this. Just saying it would have been nice if the resort had made this transparent. We alraedy pay maintenance fees and whatnot for existing timeshare. Water pressure surely left something to be desired and plumbing was broken on some fixtures. The resort also stated that they do not do towel exchange so what are the resort fees for?????

The Gardens Hotel is a luxurious landmark lodging located in Key West, Florida. It offers elegant rooms with chic Bahamian plantation-style decor and modern amenities. The hotel is set within The Peggy Mills Botanical Key West Gardens, providing privacy and beautiful tropical garden surroundings. Guests can choose from 17 guest suites, including garden cottages and historic rooms. The hotel also features the exclusive Carriage House for a more upscale experience.
A peaceful gem tucked away in the heart of Key West. The Gardens Hotel is pure magic. From the moment you step inside, you're surrounded by lush greenery, quiet pathways, and a relaxed, easygoing energy. It’s just a block from the action on Duval, but feels like a private hideaway. The pool area is beautiful, with an intimate outdoor bar, live piano in the evening, and delicious breakfast in the morning. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful and serene. Can’t wait to come back.

Our family had a 10/10 stay. The poolside cottage was spacious, clean, beautifully designed, and just steps from the pool. It was the perfect private (and pet-friendly!) getaway. The free breakfast was a great bonus, and the staff was warm and welcoming—can’t wait to return!

Our second time staying at The Gardens Hotel, and it never disappoints. We stayed in Cottage #4 on the second floor and it has all of the feeling of home with the charm of Key West. Having our own kitchen and essentially our own pool were the highlights. Although don't discount the breakfast, which every morning was something to wake up and look forward to. Whether it was Annette or Jorge taking care of us, it was always excellent, and of course having a afternoon cocktail with Dr Philgood was a great way to relax poolside. Special note to Lucy and the Tortoises for some great wildlife viewing while strolling the property with a glass of wine. We will definitely be returning, but not soon enough. Highly recommended for couples to enjoy a serene and safe environment with all of the comforts of home.

Stayed at The Gardens for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday in June 2025 and we LOVED it. It's a beautiful, intimate hotel with gorgeous rooms and even more beautiful space. The Gardens is very close to Duval and the hustle of the northern part of Key West while also being quiet and peaceful. It really feels like you're in a little secret garden, hidden away from the rest of the hustle and bustle. Loved seeing the turtles, birds, fish, and tons of beautiful plants. The pool was amazing, surrounded by gorgeous trees and never very busy because it isn't a huge hotel. They also have a bartender working all day who was very attentive and helpful. Plus, the self service wine bar was such a blast. Really fun way to try a bunch of different wines before committing to an entire glass. The service was really personal and amazing. They checked us in early when we arrived, spent time walking us through great options for restaurants around the neighborhood, and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday. I think our favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast. It's totally complimentary which we didn't realize and was AMAZING. The pancakes we had one day were one of the best things we ate the entire time we were there. Ultimately, we LOVED our experience here. However, I do have a 2 notes about staying here that I personally did not really think took away from the trip but would have liked to know: - Sound carries between rooms. It's not crazy, especially since you share walls with very few other rooms. But finding this out at 3am was not ideal. Because this isn't a party hotel, it really wasn't a big deal at all. - It seems like smoking is allowed around the pool. It wasn't a huge deal but multiple times men were smoking cigars around the pool. Just not ideal.

We stayed here for a week in July and had a truly memorable experience. The room was perfect (spacious and with everything we needed) and the staff were so nice. In particular, Anette helped us with fabulous dining suggestions, allowing us to maximize our Key West experience. We will definitely return to this jewel.

A fantastic hotel. The gardens are beautiful. The staff very accommodating. The Tree Top room was excellent. Even though I didn't get to try it, I was really impressed with the self-serve wine bar. Nice touch! If I had any constructive criticism it'd be the breakfast. It's simple, which is fine, but a little bland. That said, it's made to order and comes out hot and fresh. I would definitely stay here again!

We stopped in with our daughters for a drink at the pool bar. Fantastic music, and definitely entertained by the bartender, Annette. She’s awesome! except for her choice in NFL team. lol! Beautiful grounds to walk around and fantastic wine to choose from. Hidden gem in Key West! By the way, make sure you bang the gong and say hi to the turtles for good luck!

Fairfield Inn & Suites Key West at The Keys Collection is a laid-back hotel with an outdoor pool, fitness center, and a Tiki bar. Guests can enjoy free breakfast and WiFi access. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Old Town for convenience. Despite some concerns about cleanliness, the facilities are well-equipped with positive feedback on the breakfast quality and friendly staff. While the rooms have exterior access, guests appreciate the pleasant atmosphere and strong coffee in the morning.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very nice with a super comfy bed that made our stay so relaxing. The complimentary amenities were awesome, including a free shuttle ride to downtown, which was very convenient. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing towels and chairs to take along. The receptionist, Binita, was extremely helpful and welcoming, she truly made the experience even better. The hotel is easily accessible to downtown and not too far, making it a perfect choice for both convenience and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!💓☺️

This hotel is very nice!! The rooms are clean and provide necessary things for your stay! (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, beverages etc). The staff are very nice and helpful. The pool does have some bugs in it but that is expected in an outdoor pool in florida. They have a great breakfast in the morning. It is in a great area with the beach being only 10-15 minutes away by car. Key West airport is 5 minutes from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Key west!!

Having lived in the lower Keys almost 3 years and moved out this summer for employment reasons, we finally had a chance to see Key West from a tourist point of view. This particular hotel was a decent deal at $350 for a weekend stay - a bargain by Key West standards. That said, here’s my overall review: The front desk staff is a mixed bag. The day team is helpful and knowledgeable, but the night staff is essentially useless. The front desk clerk at night gave me a bizarre reason why we didn’t have hot water - they blamed work on the water pipes coming into town from mainland. Since when does THAT have anything to do with it. Thankfully we didn’t need to take a shower that night. Plus the room was poorly lit and had a bubble in the flooring. Not the best start. Also, Marriott Bonvoy customer service was equally useless for resolution - they said 3-5 business days to approve any sort of credit for the inconvenience. The next morning, however, the front desk manager was on top of it. She gave me a LOGICAL reason for the hot water problem - issues with that buildings boilers which the fire department mandated a shutdown for. Now she said she learned about that from the contractor later in the day. I’m sorry, but shouldn’t you notify the affected guests when something like that happens so they can be given options? Just good customer service practice there if you ask me. Either way, she DID get a us a new room with hot water and comped a days resort fee - $25. A pittance if you ask me but the rest of the stay was decent. Now, I will give some serious kudos to this hotel on a few things: first, their “destination charge” isn’t a junk fee like lots of hotels in Key West. You actually get some value if you use all the amenities so it’s a good deal for a weeklong stay. The pool bar is a nice touch though I didn’t use it. And the hot breakfast is decent - not great but way better than your budget hotel. Their “hotel store” needs to update their prices - $5 for a deodorant listed on the sign as $2 , but that’s just a nitpick. The location is excellent, but entry circle is a tight squeeze and maintenance contractors like to park in weird spots - just a word of caution. Overall, this hotel is good. It’s quiet and safe. The free shuttle to Old Town is a nice added value, so are two daily included non alcoholic beverages from the store cooler, and the beach chairs and umbrella you can borrow as part of the destination fee to go offsite is a nice touch too. It’s a good spot when it’s offseason (late August-early October) because it’s a good value, but during the season there are way better options for similar prices they offer.

We just stayed here in Key West. We chose this hotel for its proximity to Southernmost Sailing School (which is awesome). The hotel is a little ways from Old Town but provides a shuttle (cost included in the resort fee) which runs frequently, every hour. The staff were great and made sure our vacation was awesome. Binita and Zsofia were both very helpful and friendly! The hotel includes breakfast which is a great cost savings in Key West. The hotel has a pool and bar in the pool area. Rooms were clean with modern fixtures and furniture. Looks recently renovated.

Although the shuttle is apart of the hotel stay the driver i experienced today 11 am on November 3 had an attitude when I was boarding with my deaf parents and kids this being my first time in key west it left a bad taste for the shuttle service in my opinion enough for me to want to come here and address it. Ive traveled down the entire East Coast on a bicycle and was looking forward to the shuttle and was met with attitude about loading my family on which does not sit well with me. I will not be tipping someone that spoke to me like I should've known better. Although the shuttle made me uncomfortable. The front desk made sure to address my discomfort and I want to be clear that the stay at the hotel isnt reflected by the shuttle service. I enjoyed the hotel I enjoyed the breakfast the front desk was more than friendly and helping super enjoyed the pool environment and the fact that they payed attention to my review made me feel as if I was very important which played a factor to me wanting to return for this environment again.

Stayed at this place couple weeks ago, I wouldn't recommend anyone to book this hotel! Here are the reasons - 1. hidden fee, they don't show it at the time of booking, but charge $25/day for daily amenities fee. 2. No hot water on the second night we were there, called the front desk but response 3. Breakfast is mediocre at best 4. Room is not meeting other Marriott standard, smelly, phone in the room was not functioning can't call front desk. There is no way to reach the front desk directly. 5. charge extra $20/30min for late checkout, while other Marriott does not.

AMAZING HOTEL choice!! It is very clean, fresh sheets, towels, super comfy beds!! Property top notch clean! THEY ACTUALLY CLEAN THE AC UNITS! Very fresh. Compared to 5 other "high end" resorts here that have major mold problems. I have never had an issue with that here. Property is very well maintained, you can tell the owner cares because it runs like a well oiled machine. Many high end resorts in Key West price gouge with hidden fees and it's obvious they're not taken care of. Customer service is here is OUTSTANDING in every department, which all the more enhances the beautiful atmosphere, you can feel the good vibes. They're all warm, gracious and efficient, everyone smiles here. I was like how is it everyone is like this here? Housekeeping is on top of it, they text you later in the day if you have do not disturb sign to give another chance, which I have never experienced anywhere else. I had totally forgotten to take the sign down and I loved that I didn't have to call and ask. Joaquin literally had someone servicing my room within minutes. I walked in my room was so fresh, I could tell it was cleaned with such care and thoughtfulness, housekeeping is WORTH tipping. The ladies are so sweet, always smiling. Karen and George are managers, I needed assistance with a situation that would have been complicated anywhere else, they not only took care of it within minutes, but were so considerate of me and made it a breeze. Binita at the front desk remembered my name after the first time meeting her! She is so efficient and intuitively great at what she does. I watched a guest so unreasonable and rude over the simplest thing that is normal at every hotel, even his friends were embarrassed, she was so kind and had such a great attitude he even ended up half apologizing at the end. Breakfast is FREE well nice and hot, stocked, very clean. Kelena and Latoya without hesitation immediately went out of their way for a special request they did not have to do. Made my day. They were so genuinely sweet, even an old lady came up while I was talking to them and tipped them for such outstanding service, and this is FREE breakfast. Joseph made me feel so safe when I needed to go to the front desk very late at night, he went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable and was taken care of. To say this hotel is impressive in all areas is an understatement. It is very well run, the people actually care and treat you like a valuable human and not a burden or dollar sign like a lot of other over priced resorts I have stayed at here. I stopped going anywhere else for stays. This is my absolute go to. I have been impressed every single time. Thank you to all the amazing people here. Thank you for caring! It SHOWS! Well done!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I made a reservation, and only a few hours before check-in they emailed me saying I needed to update my payment information because my card was “not valid.” They also said that if I didn’t update it immediately, I would lose the reservation and still be charged for one night. This is extremely unprofessional. My card works perfectly fine everywhere else, so it felt like a tactic to force me to cancel and charge me anyway — or get me to pay more. On top of that, the location is very far and hard to reach, making the situation even worse. I expected honesty and reliability, but instead I received stress and poor customer service. I do not recommend booking here.

The well-appointed suites feature traditional island-inspired decor, private screened balconies, and living areas with sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub with ocean views. The property also includes an airport shuttle service for convenience.
Loved our stay at the Hyatt! It is located next to the airport so your do hear the planes take off often. However, the stop around dark and don’t start again until between 7&8 in the morning. So they don’t disrupt sleep. The rooms were fantastic and so clean. The view was wonderful. We loved the pool as well!

Wonderful, beautiful place. Grounds are so nice, great pool and outdoor games for everyone. Excellent grills and poolside drinks and food. Our room was so nice, minus the huge planes flying over all the time. It’s right by the airport. You can walk there. Downtown is only a few miles, but you can miss the tourists and cruise ship traffic staying outside. There is no beach, just down the road a bit, but a great sidewalk across the road for biking or strolling on the ocean. We had a great time.

During our stay at your Hyatt hotel, we encountered numerous issues that made our visit extremely disappointing. Prior to arrival, the hotel called to ask about our ETA, leading us to believe our room would be ready. We arrived around 2 p.m., only to be told it was not. While walking the grounds, we noticed many rooms with no staff working on them, which made us suspect early check-in simply wasn’t being offered. We ended up waiting until nearly 4 p.m. to check in—into a room that had not been serviced or cleaned. The noise level throughout our stay was unacceptable. Loud parties took place in both the lanai and pool areas, with several intoxicated families yelling, screaming, and disturbing other guests—some right outside the office. Despite multiple complaints from guests, staff took no action. Cigarette and cigar smoke from nearby lanais drifted into ours at all hours, making it impossible to enjoy the space. The condition of the unit itself was also concerning. The rooms appeared outdated and were infested with ants in both the kitchen and bedroom. The lanai furniture was falling apart, with worn, stained cushions. The dishwasher’s bottom rack was missing wheels and heavily rusted, creating an unsanitary environment. The refrigerator freezer had a hole, and both showerheads were corroded with rust and in need of replacement. The lack of a fitness room, which had been advertised, was another disappointment. The location behind the hotel also added to the discomfort. The removal of trees has left the back of the property fully exposed to the airport, resulting in constant noise, visible aircraft, and strong fuel odors. Contrary to other reviews mentioning only 3–4 flights a day, we experienced more than 7–8 takeoffs daily, with fumes and noise making it unpleasant to be outside. At the Monday meet-and-greet, the manager spent the entire time speaking to a single couple and left without engaging with other guests. As someone who is vegan and gluten-free, there were no food options I could enjoy—something simple like fresh fruit would have been appreciated. I had hoped to discuss our concerns with the manager, but the opportunity never came. When I shared these issues with the front desk, my concerns were dismissed with the comment that I should have complained earlier. No manager was contacted, and it was clear the staff were indifferent and unwilling to address the problems. Overall, the property is in urgent need of updates, better amenities, and stronger management oversight to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests.

Unfortunately made the grave mistake of booking 3 nights here. We were provided an "accessible" room as we had a wheel-chair bound guest with us. After check-in we discovered, the guest couldn't get on or off the bed. We discussed this immediately with the front desk (multiple times over the phone). They initially agreed to send someone to take a look, but eventually no one showed up. We couldn't stay there as it for 3 nights. We called Booking.com through whom the reservation was made. They were ready to process the cancellation given the situation and put in the request right away when I was on the phone with them. Hyatt did not respond for the next couple of days and finally as a "courtesy" decided to charge us "only for 2 nights instead of 3". Stay away from these losers. That's my plan going forward.

This place is beautiful. The rooms are nice and very cozy. One thing is that behind the complex there is an airport so be prepared to hear and see a lot of airplanes in your backyard. They don’t fly at night so you can still get some good sleep. I definitely recommend this place

This resort is incredible! The restaurant on-site served the best food we had in Key West. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. However, the room service, towel service, and pool cleaning could have been better throughout the day. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely return next year.

Palmetto bug crawled past me on couch. Living room furniture was like waiting room at Doctors office. No comforters on beds only cotton blankets again hospital room quality. No soap or sponge for kitchen sink, No dish towels or pot holders. No housekeeping. Not an employee in sight in 3 days. Out tour was scheduled for 130 Thursday and we were told they were closed for maintenance for 2 weeks. The list goes on and on. I was here 10-15 years ago and it was fantastic.I have been at many other Hyatts that were wonderful. They should just close this until they fix it. I have limited time off and cost isn’t an issue. I just want to be happy and comfortable. Thank goodness tomorrow morning we are leaving. Shame on your corporate team. This won’t stop with this review. I’m disgusted that it I had bugs crawling pat me on the awful couch.I live in Florida and understand to expect some insects.. What a disappointment. I am regretting I wasted the few days I take off as a self employed Registered and licensed Dietitian in Florida. .

Oh boy I will miss this place. From the perfect view of the ocean on every room, to excellent service, I will miss this so much as I go. The palm trees set up such a good vibe, and it’s close to everything, and it’s in such a good location, close to everything. The pool to the hammock to the pool table and the ping pong and the beach volleyball, it’s perfect. I would definitely recommend.

This delightful resort features a variety of accommodations, from cozy studios to spacious penthouses, ensuring there's something for everyone. Guests can unwind at the private beach or take a dip in the waterfront pool while enjoying live music at the tiki bar. Amazing week at the Galleon resort! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The rooms and cleaning staff are kept beautifully. Definitely a return visit is in store! Special shout out to Dale at the pool… your suggestions were spot on!

We are not owners. My wife and I just rented a place for an almost week getaway. The people here are superb. The location is perfect. It is in the historical/shopping district, but it is on the opposite end from the cruise ships. Enjoy every inch of the tourist world of Key West, but you get to escape to your own little piece of paradise. It has a private beach and pool. The kitchen is well equipped. I feel like I could live her comfortably for months.

The Galleon Resort right on the gulf, we go every October with our week 40 family, and fun times never fail. Staff is super friendly and always accommodating, the room is always clean and in the process of being upgraded with furniture and in 2026 new bedroom furniture. They have pool with an attached small beach on the gulf specifically for galleon guests. The galleon is 3 blocks away from Duval street and Mallory Square, so live music, shops, local entertainment at the square, and the most beautiful sunsets you will see night after night. Also, if you love to fish, the galleon has a pier for their guests fish. The galleon resort is definitely a tradition vacation which I how to have my kids continue as adult with their families.

Really wonderful place to stay in Key West. Our room had a gorgeous view of the pool and ocean. The room was relatively clean, but one of the bathrooms in the room was very moldy. Some of the fixtures are a bit outdated/worn out, but overall the atmosphere is cozy and tropical. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The location really made this place the best. Just off of Duval, you’re a five minute walk to all the popular restaurants, bars, watersport rental booths, golf cart rentals, and of course the ocean. The onsite tiki bar has good live music and a spectacular view of the sunset, and the onsite restaurant Pirate’s Cove has good food for relatively low prices. This is my second time staying in a penthouse suite here, and I’d definitely come back again.

We have been owners for almost 30 years. We love coming to Key West and the Galleon Resort is located in a wonderful area- close to Mallory Square, it is on the waterfront/marina and has a private beach in addition to the pool and hot tub. There are so many restaurants within walking distance and it’s a wonderful place to relax OR do a bunch of activities such as deep sea fishing, etc.

Pur room was 5th floor , every morning at 4.00 a.m. you hear people walking and stomping on the roof top. The ice machine is a joke. You walk to front deskto get a quarter, then back to the parking lot at the end for ice, we checked in Wednesday. We're told by management after front desk person had to ask if we can park our bike in a spot and our truck. Said 20 extra a day for the bike. We had to say ok to extra 100 for our 5 days here to have somewhere to park. But come Saturday they tell us our pass is expired so we go to the front desk and they change their minds and say we can't park here! We have to park somewhere on the road, it's fantasy fest there's no parking anywhere near here. We drove 24 hrs to bring our bike to ride! Greed set in with fantasy fest! And Don't rent 5B it's literally a closet with a fire escape that they call a balcony. Ants all over it.

Loved our stay here over fantasy fest! Great staff, amenities, location! We'd definitely stay here again. The tiki bar and Pirates Cove were great as well, and very convenient. We also loved the private beach.

Disappointing Stay – Expensive, Broken Crib and No Follow-Up from Management I spent one night here in February 2025, paying $450 for a room that unfortunately did not meet expectations. Despite confirming in advance that the hotel had a crib available, the one provided in our room was broken, making it unusable. Additionally, the window blinds let in a lot of light, and there was a bright streetlight in the hotel’s inner courtyard that shone directly into our room. The light made it impossible to sleep properly throughout the night. I reported these issues to the hotel manager, who took my phone number and email, but I never received any follow-up. For the price, I expected a much higher level of comfort and service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on this experience.

Situated near Smathers Beach, this charming hotel provides ocean views and various facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, restaurant and bar, as well as a fitness center. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, patios, TV, microwave and desk for convenience.
First experience at an Opal Collection Hotel and it was fabulous. This hotel may not be directly in the heart of downtown but for us, that was actually just fine. The 1.2 mile drive back and forth was a nice escape into paradise. The staff was welcoming and service was their #1 priority. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Pool side was relaxing and the surroundings were tropical. Complimentary breakfast was a step above.

We had a wonderful time at The Capitana. The property was beautiful from the lobby to the room to the pool/outdoor areas. All of the staff that we encountered were kind and helpful to anything that we needed. The waterfront views were lovely. It was close and easy enough to get to several places, but far enough from the high traffic of Duvall and other popular areas on the island that it was its own oasis. We would definitely stay at The Capitana again!

Beautiful hotel! We stayed over the weekend and had a great time. The rooms were immaculate. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful view of the pool and ocean. We were just 10 minutes from downtown key west. We enjoyed visiting the busy part of the island but going back to the quiet hotel. We loved ending our day in the pool. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a great stay.

Our standards are very high and this place is pretty amazing. Room are absolutely beautiful. This hotel has a sandy area by the water , giving a very beach feel but not a real beach . This is next to a bar place to eat , all exceptionally nice . This hotel is VERY family friendly, and wheel chair accessible . If I had children , that were good swimmers I would come to this place . All the children seemed to be having a GREAT time . And the place is not so big that you could lose them . We did not rent a car very easy to Uber . Mark the manager was extremely nice , looking after all guest well .

Really enjoyed our stay at The Capitana. The pool and facilities are great, and the staff are very friendly. However, the breakfast is quite basic for the price — I was expecting a bit more. The only drawback is the location: it’s not within walking distance of restaurants or shops, so you constantly need to drive. A shuttle service would make a big difference. Otherwise, a lovely stay overall!

The beach is beautiful, so is the pool area. Wings from the bar were delicious. Loved the outdoor pool table! Staff were all friendly and attentive. Having breakfast buffet included was so convienent! Uber rides ranged from $10. to $14. & arrived in 1 minute. We will be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and beautiful this hotel is. Check-in was a breeze, and I appreciated the complimentary cold water available on every floor. While the gym is on the smaller side, it does the job. The breakfast options are limited, but they certainly suffice. The pool area is well-maintained, featuring a generously sized pool, and there's a private beach right by it with breathtaking views of the Keys. The tiki bar is a highlight, serving delicious drinks and even better food. The staff were exceptionally friendly! I'm really glad I chose to stay here and would definitely recommend it.

The Chelsea House Hotel in Key West is a cozy and welcoming accommodation located in three charming Victorian houses. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast and relax by the outdoor pool. The hotel's staff is known for their friendliness, and the rooms are consistently clean. While recent changes include a parking fee and no longer allowing pets, guests appreciate the convenient location just a few blocks from Duval Street.
A really beautiful hotel. The staff is nice and very helpful. The rooms are modern with AC, TV and free wifi. It has a nice small pool and everything is clean. The breakfast could be a bit bigger but you can eat next to the pool which is great. Overall I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and great two days in marvelous Key West
DoDdeed — Google review
The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, not charming, as most of the other B&B's I have stayed at in Key West. There was much room for improvement on the breakfast as well. It was more in the style of standard breakfast at chain hotels, missing the hot foods. Hard boiled eggs were like rubber and bagels stale. We ate out after trying it once. Front desk could be more friendly and welcoming. Pool was great and good location.
Buggirl 6 — Google review
Clean and comfortable accomodations with a small pool. It was missing a desk which I guess is not expected in a vacation place like this but it was a partial working trip for me and I missed having a workspace. The grounds were well kept and the staff courteous. Located close to everything we wanted to do with a reasonably priced bike rental shop just a few blocks away. Good AC in the room, comfortable beds and a nice shower. I would stay here again.

This hotel was fantastic! It had a very homely feel to it, and everything was conveniently located close by to our room. It is a great place to stay in while visiting Key West, as Duval street is very close by. The staff were very friendly and one person helped us plan out all the attractions to visit. He was very kind in particular, and I thank him for making our stay much more enjoyable! My only complaints are that the bathroom door didn’t lock, the setup in the bathroom was a little cramped for a two bed room, and they charged $20 per night for parking in their parking lot. Other than that it was great! There was nice outdoor seating and a pool as well. The breakfast was good too. Would recommend to anyone planning a stay in Key West! *Just find better parking*

My husband and I have stayed at this bed and breakfast many times. We have always had a great experience. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. They have made recent changes as far as charging for parking $10 (not bad) and they aren't going to allow pets anymore. But I have no complaints. It's a few blocks from Duval Street but an easy walk. If you rent bikes they have plenty of bike racks to lock it up. They also offer continental breakfast which is decent. There are plenty of things to do with in walking distance. I would recommend Chelsea House to couples and small families.

All of the staff was excellent, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The House was a great place to stay as well. The location close to Duval, but quiet was very much appreciated. We had a room at pool level with out own patio area separated by a railing from the pool area. I will come back and ask for the same location. No noise could be heard inside the room, which made it feel very private. Breakfast was served only a few meters from our door step so getting coffee and coffee re-fills was like walking to the kitchen at home. The two cats wandering the grounds are adorable and well cared for by the staff. I will be coming back to this hotel and will be recommending it. It felt so nice and close to everything, comfortable and relaxing at the same time, with very friendly and accommodating staff.

This was a very good quality hotel! It was close to the main streets of Key West. The hotel rooms were very clean as well. We were greeted with excellent customer service, as well as advice on which attractions to go to for a day in Key West. There was also a nice pool, as well as outdoor seating. My only complaints: the bathroom was rather cramped and parking cost $20 a night. Otherwise, this was a really great hotel and I would DEFINITELY recommend it!

Ambrosia Key West is a charming bed and breakfast located in the heart of Key West's Historic District. The property features individually themed rooms, two-bedroom cottages, and tropical gardens with three pools. It offers a quaint and elegant atmosphere, surrounded by lush tropical courtyards. The accommodations come equipped with private bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, microwaves, refrigerators, and satellite television. Families and large groups can opt for spacious townhomes or suites.
Clean and well equipped rooms. Only set back was that after 3 days we had a dumpster inside the room because we never got room service or had anyone ask if we wanted it. Since our unit was across the street it wasn’t like we could saunter over to the reception to request it. However it was nice, clean and cool. The best part was the location, just a block up from all the action on Duval St.

This was our second trip to this location. It’s perfect for walking everywhere in key west. It’s not a luxury resort but clean and well maintained older buildings. The toilet was very low and bed was not very comfortable but we were only here 3 nights. Breakfast is a decent selection of foods. Parking is a challenge so if you find a spot don’t move. We were on second floor so you need to be able to do stairs and carry luggage up. Homes in the area are lovely older homes and I felt safe there.

Very upset to be charged $200+ for food stains on the bedsheets and “leaving too much trash in the room” — which we put all into ONE corner at checkout. These people are not ethical. I will never recommend anyone to stay here. There was not one day at all where they came to do housekeeping. Especially with them not contacting me about the food stains. The sheets literally could have been washed but instead they want to steal money from me. They are saying we left too much garbage behind. When they never came to clean the room nor were there any trash cans on the property for us to dispose of the trash. They will be hearing from my lawyer. Thanks Ambrosia Key West

"A Memorable Stay... Whether You Like It or Not" Ah, Ambrosia Key West – where the past meets the present, and neither one seems to be working quite right. Let’s start with the positives, because I’m a glass-half-full kind of person (even if the glass is cracked and leaking): 🏝️ The location? Perfect. 👩‍💼 The staff? Lovely, warm, and clearly doing their best to keep this historic house standing. 🏛️ The building? Unique and full of character – the kind of place where every creak tells a story, and every room has a ghost of functionality past. 🍳 Breakfast? Available early and every day, which was great because sleep wasn’t really an option (more on that later). Now, for the charming quirks: 📺 The TV didn’t work, which was fine because the fan only worked with the light on – who needs Netflix when you can experience 1920s sweat lodge vibes? 🔌 Electrical outlets were a fun little scavenger hunt – like an escape room, but your reward is being able to charge one thing overnight. 🚿 The shower had a personality. It screamed in protest every time I used it, much like I did when I realized the bathroom A/C got weaker by the day. 🔥 And who could forget the fire alarm that went off at 1:30 AM on my birthday? Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like sprinting out of bed to the soothing shriek of impending doom. Bonus: they removed the alarm after that and never replaced it – apparently fire safety is optional once you've celebrated another year. Would I stay here again? Maybe. It’s hard to resist the allure of historical charm and spontaneous fire drills. Just bring a power strip, earplugs, and maybe a cake for emotional support.

Spacious, clean room with a comfortable King bed. Huge walk-in shower with immediate hot water. We rented #4, the "Jungle Room" for a week. There was a private patio outside our door with a large, warm spa just steps away. We paid the 25 dollar daily parking fee for a spot right outside our room. Very much worth the extra cost. A very tasty and hot breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, etc saved us about 40 dollars a day. Fantastic location, too. Would definitely stay here again.

Casa 325 is a relaxed guesthouse located in the heart of Old Town, offering a pool and rooms with hardwood floors. With 11 unique guest rooms, ranging from studios to two-level suites, it's an ideal choice for couples, singles, and families. The stunning outdoor pool is a highlight for many visitors, and the free concierge service can help organize Key West experiences such as dolphin-watching cruises and ghost tours.
A clean, simple place to stay, in the middle of all the Duval Street action! We stayed 4 nights at Casa 325 during the Key West Songwriters Festival and wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Our room was cleaned daily, and had enough amenities (microwave, fridge, dishes, glasses) to make for a very comfortable stay. We were in the back building, on the second floor (room 9) and had a shared deck overlooking the small pool area. The pool area was simple and small but was a perfect place to take a break from the heat and the action out on Duval. They mentioned they are starting construction soon, looking forward to seeing the changes next time we are in town. If you are looking for a simple, comfortable stay near all the action of Old Town Key West - Casa 325 is the place to be!

Recently stayed here after having friends stay. Staff were great. You can't beat the location and has onsite parking but only for mid sized vehicles as the Lakeway to the back off Duval is tight. Mirrors in. Pool area was clean and refreshing after walking around. Room was ok and could use some up dating in the bathroom and kitchenette area. Ceiling was all dusty from the ceiling fans. As I said the room needed some updating New owners as of Dec 2033. No one asked how our stay was when we checked out. I guess it doesn't matter as it'll get booked as it's located right in the middle of the action on Duval (beside the Hard Rock) Overall a good experience

Delightful place to stay! In the middle of the action but far enough from the big bars to get a good night sleep. Room was clean and well stocked with a little kitchenette that had just enough stuff to service breakfast snacks or a late night key lime pie. Shower had great water pressure. Beds were fairly comfy, spring mattresses, but sturdy. A/C runs nice and cold and there were plenty of outlets. Staff were very nice and let us leave our luggage for a bit until our flight left.

Rooms were nice, and came with all the amenities you could want. Pool is heated, so even though it was 70 and windy during my stay, you could still enjoy some relaxation at the pool. The hammock in the back is a very nice additional, and a great place for an afternoon nap. Location is great as well. Very close to the action without being in the middle of it. Only a couple blocks from Sloppy Joes.

It's a budget location with minimum furnishing. That's not our complain, we understood that coming in. The place seem clean at first, but by the middle of our trip we start to notice bite marks on us but just chalked it up as mosquito bites. But we noticed that bites different and some in area not exposed to mosquitos. It dawn on us that those were bed bug bite marks. Now that we're home and the marks are continuing to show up meaning they traveled with us home. We're in the process of spends hundreds if not thousands of dollars to treat it. We're only thankful that our daughter didn't get attacked. We also saw a cockroach crawling across the kitchen table. I can not honestly recommend this place.

Perfect location on Duval but hidden away down a long driveway so it's not loud. The driveway is narrow and can fit sedans but nothing wider than a Jeep (a jeep was parked in the lot so I know they can fit). You have to reserve a spot in advance. Rooms were spacious and clean with private outside entrances. There is a pool with lounge chairs and towels in the front office. Staff was nice. Great value. Would recommend and stay again.

My family and I went down the second week of August and loved staying here! So close to all right on Duval. Staff was wonderful, accommodating and warm. Place was squeaky clean and well maintained. I left my watch and when I called to retrieve it, I had zero problems! They kept it safe until I sent UPS to pick it up and ship it back to NY for me. I would stay here again hands down

We LOVED our stay here. It was clean and bright with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The gate entrance comes out on Duval street right by Hard Rock so you are in the middle of every thing. The pool was perfect to relax in, it has a seat in the water along the side so it was nice to watch the kids play as we sat. It was quiet and well kept. The owners/workers were very helpful and kind stay again for sure.

Island
Sunset Key is a small island located just off the coast of Key West, offering private homes, guest cottages, and picturesque beaches. Accessible by a seven-minute boat ride from Key West, this 27-acre paradise provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The island features an elegant spa with treatment suites adorned with tropical flowers and French doors leading to private patios for relaxation.
Having lived in Florida for over 50 years my wife and I very much appreciate its many charms. In fact, we often have said we live in Paradise. So is it possible for there to be a Paradise in Paradise? The question never arose until our visit to Sunset Key Cottages and the answer is a gigantic YES! Traveling via the resort’s ferry from Key West to Sunset Key is an instant mood changer - much like crossing the bridge into Brigadoon! The scenic beauty of the short journey being very much facilitated by the ebullient dock staff and ferry crew. Upon disembarking and advancing onto the island the mood continues to become more serene as one observes the perfectly manicured property and the architecture style that the landscaping so beautifully complements. The entire resort presents as a neighborhood where one would very much enjoy living. But wait, there’s more! We were escorted to our accommodations by Andre, who instantly realized an alternative was needed due to my wife’s health issue. The change was seamless and very much unexpected. When he was joined by an associate, and we replied to them that we were having a birthday dinner at the resort’s top notch Latitudes restaurant that evening, they spontaneously sang Happy Birthday to her! We have celebrated many occasions at top-notch resorts all over Florida and that is a FIRST! Our entire stay unfolded with continued excellent appreciation by all staff of our being guests at Sunset Key Cottages wherever we were in the Resort. In addition, every food option of every type is top shelf. Whether it be breakfast at Latitudes, lunch poolside at Flippers, a stunning sunset dinner at Latitudes, or in-room service, there are cuisine options to satisfy the most discerning diner. Even if one just wanted a snack, the kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of beverages in the refrigerator, coffee maker, tea and packaged snacks too – all complimentary. The young ones are not forgotten. The resort provides many entertainment options if you are traveling with children. Probably the most popular is the ice cream cooler on a tricycle with the ice cream man ringing the bell to alert the little ones to come get their treat! To be clear, having stayed at every top-notch resort in the Keys, including coming in on our boat over a 2 decade period, and hosting a destination wedding at one 12 years ago, we believe that Sunset Key Cottages is at another level. We will return soon.

Sunset Key's official name is Tank Island. The United States Navy constructed Tank Island to serve as a fuel tank depot during the Cold War. Dredging began in 1965 to form the island as well as to build passageways for submarines and other large vessels. However, the Navy's plans changed and the island saw little military action. Only two of the twelve planned fuel tanks were constructed, and although the fuel lines were run, the tanks were never filled. ©WIKIPEDIA

Florida Keys is a perfect tropical paradise, and if there's one island in the archipelago that without doubt is the perfect island escape, it has to be Sunset Key. Unfortunately however it's an exclusive and privately owned paradise island and access is controlled so you need a pass or be accompanied to visit. We sailed there and enjoyed the magnificent sunset!

The Waterfront Brewery is a vibrant two-level establishment that serves its own craft beers and a diverse selection of American and regional dishes. Situated overlooking the historic Key West harbor, it offers delicious brews with stunning waterfront views.
We had a great experience here. Our server was great ( I can't recall his name), love the atmosphere sitting close to the water, and the food was delicious. The gift shop was the only place I found stuffed pelicans! I loved them! I can't wait to visit Key West to eat here again!

The weather was beautiful and the indoor/outdoor feel of the restaurant with a view of the docks made it a great choice for lunch on an early Sunday afternoon. The menu had a wide selection of options. The beer flight sounded like a great place to begin and it turned out to be good value at $8. It was more than enough to have along with a meal. My friend and I split the tasty fish dip. We also split the Fish & Chips and the Bayou Shrimp. The fish had a good amount of batter and was fluffy and light. The Bayou Shrimp was spectacular. The sauce had a little spice (not Heat) to it, which I really enjoyed, it also came with a good amount of flavorful shrimp. I would definitely return to this establishment.

Nice place to grab a bite and a drink near the water in Key West. We stopped in and had some pork nachos and a couple of drinks. I tried the reserve flight and my wife had a rum punch and it was all delicious. The bartender was very friendly and delivered quick service. There are a bunch of arcade games in here as well so definitely a good place for families with kids.

Sep 20, 2025. Stopped for Lunch after a Dive on Vandenburg with Capts Corner Dive Boat, this place was recommemded by Capt. Ricky . What an awesome Rec. $15 Sandwhiches_ which is reasonably priced for Key West. Great Mahi Blackened Sandwhich, Hot Fries and Cold Iced Tea _ refills. Clean rest and B/R's. Bar was half Full, Rest 1/3 full. Lots of TVs for Sports etc. Recommend and will Return.

If you’re afraid of birds, this may not be the place for you. (There once was a pigeon named Clint…) For pretty much anyone else this is a nice stop on your Key West visit. Said accompanied me on my continuing journey to visit every brewery in Florida. About 100 down and another 150 to go. This place is mostly restaurant, a good beer list made on site and a large game room to entertain the kids while you sip your libations. The beer was good, I focused on Hazy IPAs and they were just fine, 3 1/2 to four stars out of five (Untapped for good accurate beer reviews), keeping in mind that I drink a lot of beer. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the beers, but my five stars are reserved for the ones that give me cartoon wide eyes. The food and the location are the primary stars of the show. The Roast Beef and Grilled Cheese Sammy was good, but nothing mind blowing. The Brewer’s Chicken Sammy, however, was flavorful, moist and about the size of my open hand. This was an excellent sandwich and, frankly, Sydney and I should have shared this one. In the back, they have a fairly robust and modern game room for kids and kids at heart to enjoy. We were visiting on a cruise stop and I had another brewery to hit, so we had lunch and two beers before heading onward. I would absolutely recommend this as a stop for lunch for any beer snobs or a quick family stop.

Waterfront Brewery, Key West: Great spot! Ample portions, easy to split. Yummy pretzels & tuna dip. Burgers and club were excellent. Fun decor and fantastic views! Highly recommend.

What an awesome place. And the view of the harbor is so nice to see when dining or having a drink. I had the avocado shrimp BLT and my husband had a club sandwich. They were so good! We had so much that we took some home to eat later. We also had the pretzel sticks with beer cheese. And let’s not forget the beer we had. A Pilsner for my husband and an oatmeal stout for me.

A very crowdy place right on the shore, which give you a nice vibe in the moment you cross the entrance. It has good food with normal portions, we had fish and chips and 2 x catch of the day, the IPA beer is also really tasty. You have for entertaiment a room with arcade games there too. So, enjoy!

Smathers Beach, located on the southern shore of Key West, is a popular destination for young people on spring break. It offers amenities such as showers, volleyball courts, and jet ski rentals. The beach is known for its brilliant sunset views and stretches over half a mile along the Atlantic coast. Despite getting crowded during midday, it's possible to find quiet spots for relaxation or even a romantic evening under the night sky after dark.
Nice beach. They were cleaning up the seaweed when we got there. The storms really brought it to shore. Sandy beaches. I think the water would have been prettier if not for the storms. Plenty of parking. There was a rental area for kayaks, tubes, chairs, and loungers. Not really busy. We enjoyed it.
Kathy I — Google review
I love this beach. They have plenty of parking. Most now is pay to park but I'm still grateful they have it. They have showers to rinse off and restrooms. The water is easy to get out of, the sand is firm and easy to walk on.

Last day adventures in Key West, FL. Went to Smathers Beach. Parking is plentiful, but there maybe some luck involved depending on date/time when you come to the beach. We got lucky today, and it was awesome. The beach is super clean, quiet and family friendly. I was able to get chairs and umbrella rented for 1/2 price since we came after 2:00 p.m. Today was windy, but it was still a great day on a beach. There was food for purchase, and the vendors took credit cards which was perfect. The bathroom was clean, and the beach was just as clean.

Easy beach access. Lots of parking. Restrooms were closed at the end of the day -early evening hours. Had a few different shower areas at each beach entrance/exit. Did see a lifeguard that was closing up his station - this was around 5pm. There are lots of picnic tables and seating by the parking area. A section of the water that was close to the shore had a dip in the sea level...so be mindful, especially with kids. Can play beach volleyball. Huge long stretch of sand to stretch out between people. Great for kids, families- and everyone.
Shawna L — Google review
One of the best spots to unwind in Key West. The sand was soft, water was clear and calm, there was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sun. We loved how peaceful it felt in the evening. Parking was easy to find along the road, and the beach was clean and well kept during our visit.
Rajesh R — Google review
A lot of seaweed & grass both in the water & on shore. Would have preferred city have cleaned up the beach... there's not a terribly lot of it anyway and even less with all the the plant life washed up on shore.
Donna H — Google review
Smathers Beach is one of the largest beaches in Key West and it’s beautiful for a walk, relaxing under the palm trees, or enjoying the sunset. However, during the summer months there is a lot of seaweed, and because of that the smell can be very unpleasant. If you’re visiting outside of summer, it’s a much nicer experience.
Artem P — Google review
Nice area and beach, but make sure you come at the right time. Bad algae right now, and the odor is horrendous. Evidently this time of year it hits here pretty hard. Also, decent amount of homeless find there way around this beach, so just keep an eye out.

The Key West Historic Seaport is a charming district that encompasses the famous historic Old Town Key West waterfront and the original lower Duval Street area. This area boasts an impressive collection of turn-of-the-century architecture, including shipping docks, warehouses, restaurants, and grand homes. Many of these structures have been beautifully restored and renovated, offering a glimpse into the island's past.
The beautiful waterfront views with colourful boats. We visited during the holidays and were treated to stunning lights and decorations all around. The area also has plenty of great restaurants to enjoy.

A beautiful place for a long walk. There are plenty of places worth stopping and taking photos, as it will be something to remember someday. I don't know if you can be in Key West and not visit this place 😉

Skip Duvall Street and walk the Historic Harbor Walk. Or do both and see why I said that 👆🏽. I really don't care what you do. It's quaint casual walk, boats on one side, restaurants and bars on the other. My recommendation: restaurant hop. Have apps and drinks at one. Walk to another for main. Walk to another for dessert. Ask for seating along the walk way. We had apps at Waterfront brewery Main at Conch Republic Dessert at Kermits key like pie

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Key West Historic Seaport and Town in one of the stops while doing a cruise in the Bahamas and the Caribbean with MSC, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! This hidden gem is a true treasure trove of history, charm, and beauty. The seaport area is bustling with activity - from the colorful boats docked along the harbor to the charming shops and restaurants lining the streets, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The historic charm of the town is evident in its well-preserved architecture and quaint streets that transport you back in time. One of the highlights of my visit was taking a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk, soaking in the stunning views of the water and watching the sunset - a truly magical experience. I also had the chance to indulge in some delicious local cuisine at one of the waterfront restaurants and was blown away by the fresh seafood and laid-back atmosphere. Overall, Key West Historic Seaport and Town is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the true essence of Key West. I can't wait to return and explore more of this charming area!

We enjoyed strolling along the Harbor Walk boardwalk which is not far from Mallory Square and goes along the edge of the waterfront. Great place to take some photos of the boats at the various marinas and there are many restaurants and bars where you could stop to get a drink or bite to eat with a view of the water. Nice place to spend a couple hours if you are in Key West. There was also a building with some public restrooms located along the Harbor Walk.

The Curry Mansion Inn in Key West offers a refined bed and breakfast experience with elegant rooms and suites. The inn, built in 1869 by Florida's first millionaire, is steeped in history and features a stately Victorian-era structure with antique furnishings. Guests can enjoy daily cocktail parties by the outdoor pool.
If you've never been to Key West, do some research. You'll find accommodations at huge hotels, privately owned inns, and others. I did a lot of research and found that Curry Mansion offered all that we needed and more. You can book online or phone. You'll get the info you need via text or email. Very convenient! No need to stop by a desk to check in or out. Room was great. We stayed in the pool annex. Good size until and had the usual amenities. And the pool isn't big but big enough. Towels and a washer and dryer are located by the pool, too. Location, location, location. Just a half block off Duval, right in back of Fogarty's bar and restaurant. Sure, some noise but we slept well. Parking is limited and there is a decent amount of it. Look for parking on the side of the Mansion as well as up front. Ans it's free. First come first served. No room service that I know about but they do operate a small bar. But, heck, you are close to many restaurants, so explore! Now....prices. Cheaper than the big box hotels, which are farther away. Definitely recommend.

Terrible maintenance and no hotel personnel. Bathroom sink had no stopper. Shelf missing in the bathroom. Peeling paint everywhere outside. Water pressure was terrible. Water wasn’t warm enough. Electrical plugs were broken or not secured. Receptacle plates were missing. Blinds don’t work. Dirty carpets. Exterior Wood trim coming off on various spots around the property. Storing luggage in the public dining room is ridiculous when no one to protect your stuff. Wallpaper in the main building coming off. Termite and powder post beetle damage in the fancy woodwork that should have been repaired in the main house. Room needs painted. The room I booked online with pretty woodwork and wood floors was far from what I got. Our room was in the adjacent building with carpet and painted woodwork. Not even close to how we were misrepresented or bait and switch with the room. The picture online of the room we booked wasn’t even close to what we got. I should have read the reviews before I booked. Run fast. Way more places better than this for the money. Terrible room for my birthday. Will never stay there again.
JASON K — Google review
Abysmal. Curry Mansion has a lot of history. I stayed here in the 90’s with my parents when it was a family-friendly bed and breakfast. Those days are long gone. Now you’re lucky if you don’t get woken up in the wee hours by trashy people fighting over who-knows-what (drugs? money? baby momma drama? Take your guess!) by the pool. The location is convenient, but I’d personally rather go somewhere better (and cleaner) farther out for the same price. I should also mention that there isn’t any staff to help. You’re on your own, or you can email and wait about a day for a response.
Jennifer J — Google review
Having previously stayed twice at the Curry Mansion Inn when it was still owned by the Curry family, my husband and I had no hesitation in booking a deluxe king room with balcony for our recent trip to Key West. What a disappointment on this occasion. The room itself was not clean and I found some maggots in the corner of the room. The door to the balcony would not shut and the sink in the bathroom was rusty and not cleaned properly. There are no staff on site except for a lady that serves coffee and a couple of items for breakfast over in the main house, which you have to pay separately for. Previously, breakfast was served round the pool and included in the price as was a happy hour 5-7 every evening. The rooms are not cleaned at all during your stay . The staircarpet to the first floor rooms looked as though it had never been vacuumed and was filthy. I would certainly not recommend people to stay here any more.
Lee W — Google review
Check in was simple, but if you were expecting a representative on site surprise no one was available. The good news was text messages worked and became very import as our stay progressed. The mansion is impressive, but our room was discussing the carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time and was badly stained. Do not walk on it in bare feet!! and then to our surprise a extra large sound stage was set up outside our room and during sound checks our room vibrated severely. We checked out and found another hotel for our stay. top price for crap. I will never stay at the Amsterdam Surry Mansion again.
Mark S — Google review
pros: Central. Walking distance to sunrise pier and other restaurants, bars and pubs.Neat rooms. Restaurant on site was nice but basic, and service was good. Service was shocking. Booking is done through an offsite agent. 10am check. Doors lock up and we could not get back in to pack. 3am fires alarm woke everyone. No Apology or explanation. Eventually someone arrived to open our door so we could pack up. Definitely lacks service with a smile…

This was not a perfect place but it was clean . Convenient to everything. Would like to see this place back to what it was. Not a aibnb. This place needs love and care. Don't like how know one is there. If I owned it I have it the way it was supposed to be. I will stay there again. Thank you. Not much parking so be prepared.

Nestled just off Highway 1 in Key West, the Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection offers a convenient location for exploring the area's resorts and beaches. The hotel is only a short shuttle ride away from the city's key attractions and boasts comfortable suites with king beds, private balconies, and convenient amenities like a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
I saw bad reviews here about this hotel but I booked it for my family anyway because of the price and the location. And honestly that was a perfect choice! The hotel was amazing! The rooms were stylish, quiet and clean. We’ve got bottles of water every day. The reception staff were polite and professional. The shuttle bus to the centre of Key West was extremely convenient for we could enjoy mojitos and meet sunsets in Downtown and return to hotel without using our cars. We just needed to book seats on reception in advance. The pool was clean and our kids enjoyed it late evenings after long day trips through the island. All the charges were correct and truthful as we expected.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay at Hilton Garden Inn Key West! I had such a great experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Key West! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were welcoming, polite, and very helpful, making check-in smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail from the excellent housekeeping team. The entire property feels fresh and well cared for. The pool area was absolutely lovely — relaxing atmosphere, great bar, and the bartender and pool staff worked so hard to make sure everyone had a good time. Their friendly attitude really made a difference! Overall, this hotel provided an extremely nice and memorable experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Key West! 🌴✨

We had such a wonderful stay! The staff truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary special — they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a handwritten card waiting in our room. They even checked in on us later to make sure everything was perfect. The room was spotless, the A/C was nice and cold, and shower water was piping hot (just like we like it). The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of fresh options. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful — it really made our stay memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the amazing front desk team for making our anniversary one to remember! 💕 — Mr. & Mrs. Diaz

Ricka at the front desk was wonderful and so sweet to my wife on her birthday. She is an asset to the hotel team. Terry helped us with dinner and lunch and was so pleasant. The bar tender at the pool bar was fantastic. I didn’t get his name, but he was on duty 10-17 in the afternoon. The service overall was exceptional. Thank you.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in the Florida Keys and had a very pleasant experience. The location is great — close to everything yet still quiet enough to relax. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a nice view from the balcony. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The pool area was a great spot to unwind after exploring the Keys. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the breakfast selection could have been better for the price, and the parking area felt a bit tight when the hotel was busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in the Keys.
Luis M — Google review
Stayed here for a work trip booked by my colleague. I have productive notes for an asset manager: if they did TWO THINGS THING: change the color temperature of the lightbulbs in the rooms from 5000k to 4000k or 3000k. And change the douvet covers from being LESS towel-texture to more pure cotton or linen. This would elevate the look and entire feel of the room. I don’t believe this hotel is trying to be luxury so I won’t hold it to that standard, bc it truly never will be- but it’s a good clean bare bones place to rest your head at night if you must stay in this rugged town. Small affordable changes BIG impact. Get this to an asset manager.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Key West! Our room was big, spacious, and very comfortable — we slept soundly every night. The property was spotless with clean, inviting pools, and we really appreciated the convenience of the free laundry. The shuttle service to downtown made exploring Key West a breeze, and we loved that the location still allowed us to walk to plenty of places within reason. Even the roosters are plentiful and delightful to observe. Overall, an excellent experience — highly recommend!

A cracking stay at Key West! My husband, the little one, and I had a proper brilliant time at the theme parks in Orlando, staying at the Hilton for a couple of weeks. After all that excitement, we drove down to Key West and stayed at this hotel for one night. We made a last-minute, spur-of-the-moment decision to pop down to the Keys the day before and booked the hotel then and there. The lady at reception was ever so friendly and made us feel right at home. We had a room with a lovely sea view. It was a bit no-frills, but it had everything we needed, so no complaints there. The hotel is a fair trek from the Old Town. But, they've got a free shuttle bus that runs every hour, which was a proper godsend and so handy. But the absolute highlight has got to be the hotel's pool and jacuzzi. Since we had our little one with us, we came back to the hotel after watching the sunset in the Old Town and went for a dip in the evening. The pool was nicely warm, and the jacuzzi was a tad warmer still, which was just what the doctor ordered after being in the car for over six hours. It really sorted out our tired bodies. I'd highly rate this hotel and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. It was absolutely brilliant!
