1The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort

Health resort
Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort is a serene beachfront retreat located near Nattika beach in Thrissur. The resort spans 16 acres and offers 52 eco-friendly villas nestled among coconut groves. With traditional Kerala architecture, the resort provides a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation and rejuvenation. Accommodation options include Superior Deluxe Villas, Deluxe Villas, Deluxe Twin Villa, and Twin Villa.
The best blend of Health & leisure - The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort Nestled along the postcard-worthy Nattika Beach, carpeted with luscious greenery and blessed with myriad native fauna, the retreat focuses on reconnecting with nature, relinquishing control and surrendering to self-care. This had been a week of seeing what we could gain by abstaining from common vices - coffee, alcohol, sugar and technology. It all started with an hour journey from Kochi with driver Ramesh explaining the areas around in a very impressive and friendly way. Once I reached resort, was welcomed with traditional warm Indian way with thirst quenching coconut water. Full marks for the first impression. Thank you Vignesh. With planned check-in, we entered to the room which was well organised and fulfilling all needs. Surrounding was mesmerising as mine was front row villa. Inviting sound of waves from the sea in front made tempted to be on sun-bed in front of the villa. Very cordial and helpful Docter’s consultation by Dr. Suhas and Dr. Leshma was an eye opener. They guided me on my week’s treatment process and dos and don’ts during stay. My treatment was well taken care by Zulfi and partner. Ayurveda restaurant ‘Vapika’ was another venue to be admired with utmost care taken by the Team specially Praveen and Healthy yet tasty cuisines set up based on the treatment required prepared under the guidance of Chef Joshy. Without the distraction of constant phone notifications, it’s funny how quickly you can come to know a group of people. We talked about careers and kids, stresses and lessons, grief and beliefs. They are the kind of conversations you do not always have the time to have back in ‘daily routine’. Whilst everything is optional, the activities at Nattika are one of the best parts. From long walks by the beach, Meditation and Yoga at Moksha, Ayurvedic cooking demo classes, traditional musical concert, pool workouts, trips around retreat, there was always something interesting to do every day, if you felt like it. Certainly, place to visit again and with purpose.

We stayed at Nattika for 4 nights and enjoyed every moment. The staff were very nice and helpful. The property and rooms were very well maintained. The beach was beautiful. We had a truly relaxing time and felt thoroughly rejuvenated with the yoga, meditation and treatments.
Sashena H — Google review
Nattika Ayurveda Beach Resort is an absolute gem, offering a perfect blend of serenity and rejuvenation against the backdrop of Kerala's beautiful coastline. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was enveloped in a sense of peace and tranquility that stayed with me throughout my stay. The Ayurvedic treatments at the resort are nothing short of extraordinary. Dr. Ajith and Dr. Leeda, along with therapists Shinoj and Akshay, provided personalized care that left me feeling completely revitalized. Their expertise and attention to detail ensured that each treatment was tailored to my specific needs, resulting in a profound sense of well-being. The hospitality at Nattika Ayurveda Beach Resort is second to none. Kalai and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Their warmth and genuine care made me feel truly valued as a guest. And let's not forget about the food! Chef Joshy and his team deserve special mention for the delicious culinary delights they served up each day. The flavors of Kerala cuisine were expertly showcased in every dish, leaving me eager to return for more. Overall, my experience at Nattika Ayurveda Beach Resort was nothing short of exceptional. It's a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly focus on your well-being. I can't wait to return for another rejuvenating retreat.
Harithran K — Google review
I visited in Aug-Sept 2023.Investing in a three-week stay at Nattika was undeniably the best investment on myself considering how steep it is on the pocket. There is no compromise of the value one gets from this experience. Total paisaa vasool :) While the recommended period of 3 weeks guarantees optimal results, even a shorter stay here is worth every penny. I left totally rejuvenated after my 3 week stay here. My body and soul felt more aligned. It was the perfect break from the usual mundane life has to offer. The staff really cares about every need be it the amazing doctors, admin staff, housekeeping or the restaurant staff. Its such a nice vibe. Even the gardening staff are so friendly that it adds up to such a beautiful stay. Being a die hard non vegetarian it was slightly difficult for me to stick to vegetarian meals but I am so grateful to the Doctors, Chef Joshy, restaurant manager Kalai and team for teaching me the importance of the combinations of food that best suits me and general advice. I was able to stick to the planned meals after the initial struggle. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for investing in their health.
Sia A — Google review
Ambience of this place is truly world class. It is neatly tucked away from the city, yet very easy to reach either after arriving by a flight or rail or car. The amenities present are pretty good. The compound is very well maintained. You can see landscaping staff working on the gardens all the time. What I liked about the place: The beach - Really nice, private, well maintained Pool - A very big, beautiful pool surrounded by trees The property landscape - Truly amazing (check photos attached) What I didn't like/ were not upto the mark: Food - Charges 5 star tarrifs (Hyatt/Marriot level pricing), but services at best case average food. I think pricing is more oriented to foreigners and hence on the higher side. Do expect a satisfying meal for 4 people to cost 3k. Options are limited and most of it is meh. Even the buffet is not that extravagant. Something you get in any regular hotels. Don't go to this property if your main intention is have amazing food. Room quality - The villas are really nice. Traditional touch and nicely maintained. But the rooms itself are very average to be honest. Bedding is <3 star level while you pay 5star tarrifs for the property. 2 nights stay for a family of 4 cost me around 40k including food. So yeah, expect it to be on the expensive side. But if you ask me, it's worth it to be honest. Summary: Amazing scenery, serene beach and pool and a great spot to spend time with your family in a non crowded place. Visit if your budget allows you to.
Akhil P — Google review
This is one beautiful place to take a break from your routine..mentally and physically. Their ayurvedic treatments are worth dying for. Very humble and courteous staff. 16acres of land facing the Snehatheeram beach. Exquisitely designed rooms. Safe haven for everyone. We did not even lock doors while we went out. They have taken all the adequate Covid protocols. Will surely visit again. Worth every penny you spend.
Anagha M — Google review
Very good service, quality of products, organic food, juices and fruits. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious enough. And overall a great help and kindness of the whole staff. Newspaper and library available. Boats (sea kayaks) available, great to use! Little minus : the price ^^

I’ve stayed in Nattika for 7 nights in September and can 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for a professional Ayurveda treatment while staying in a beautiful resort. The resort is located by the beach and has a large territory with a well maintained beautiful garden, swimming pool, restaurant, yoga hall and the Ayurveda center. My day in Nattika would start with a 30 min meditation followed by yoga, that is suitable for all levels. I would then have a gooseberry juice with turmeric and breakfast. My absolute favorite was the millet pancake! Free time by the beach, walk, chill… Then it was time for lunch, followed by the 2 hours treatments, free time/meditation/mantra chanting, sunset! and then dinner. I really enjoyed all the meals in Nattika, the quality of food, the variety - everything was so tasty and interesting :) i loved the fruits too - great selection, organic and yummy!! The chef Joshy is truly the Ayurvedic food pro and likes to share his knowledge and demonstrated us how to cook a few dishes. The F&B team headed by Kolai is so attentive to details and professional. Pradeepkumar, Sunil, thanks a lot for taking such a great care of me. The team knows everyone’s preferences and makes sure that you are happy with the food even if you are on a strict diet :) The rooms are spacious and have A/C. I enjoyed spending time on the terrace with the garden view. It was the end of the mansoon season, so I got to relax and read the book while it was raining and enjoy the beach when it was sunny. The garden was so bright green after the rains and the sunsets were just picturesque. Ayurveda center is beautiful, very clean and tranquil. My doctor was Dr Susan and she is just a wonderful professional with so much patience and care and I’m so thankful to her. I had 2 hours treatment every day performed by Mallika and Sandra. My favorite were podikizhi, foot massage and sarvanga kashaya dhara. Mallika is a very dedicated therapist, super professional, attentive, I already miss her. After 1 week of treatments I could see the improvements in my health and general mood and intent to continue taking the Ayurvedic medication at home to get the final result. Besides the treatments, there are daily activities in Nattika: yoga, meditation, chanting, mehendi painting, bicycle tours, etc etc Basically you can relax and not get bored. Everything was just perfect from the arrival time to departure: what a great coordination of last minute transport, activities and just a genuine care from the Front Desk team! The night before my departure I got to experience a traditional music concert at the restaurant and the campfire by the beach. Thanks to Vignesh and the team, it was absolutely beautiful and memorable experience. The whole Nattika team is so friendly and makes you feel like you are at home. I didn’t want to leave and now cannot wait to be back but for a longer stay of a minimum of 2 weeks next time.

Kadappuram Beach Resorts is a prominent beach resort in Thrissur, designed according to vastu shastra principles. The resort offers essential amenities such as AC, laundry service, and a 24-hour front desk. The rooms and cottages are adorned with aromatic herbs and traditional mats for an enhanced experience. One of the highlights is the Ayurveda spa that provides a rejuvenating experience.
One of the best place to stay if you are nature loving person, as like completely isolated from city and surrounded by beach. Peaceful and quite place without any artificial setup.. What I loved about the place is the peace, quiet and the beautiful scenery. My family enjoyed the time we got to spend here.. fishing, birds chirping, the scrumptious lunch and just chatting away in the midst of nature.

Although I have not stayed here, I have visited this ayurvedic beach resort on a few occasions and got a chance to see the facilities. The resort is very well away from the highway and is situated in a quiet spot in Nattika village. The beach is very close by. To my knowledge this resort opened in the late 1990s. They serve vegetarian food only.
Denn Z — Google review
Its a great resort. Very kerala aesthetic and huge. Well connected to the beach, can enjoy it throughout the night. Very nice people. Good veg food too, you need to make the food orders in advance, you dont have someone in the kitchen all the times, plan it in advance. Need a self driven or cab to reach.
Kedar N — Google review
Clean and beautiful beach with amazing scenery, Tasty food, Friendly support staff, Nice and quite place for relaxation. Rooms don't have T.V and wifi, could be maintained a notch up.

Amenities & Activities: One of the best features of this resort is the Ayurveda spa that provides a completely relaxing and refreshing experience. People can also practice yoga or meditation. The resort also has a pure vegetarian restaurant that dishes up some delicious Kerala cuisine. Price: Starting from INR 5000. Location: Nattika Beach

Awesome location, super friendly staff, nature friendly and good vibes... only throwback was the maintenance of the rooms, which can be improved. But as they just reopened after a long time and considering its offseason (monsoon) I am still giving 5 stars. We enjoyed our stay a lot and looking forward to come again for a relaxing happy time!
Wanda M — Google review
Please, by all means, avoid this place. What i discovered here upon my last (and only) visit was being booked into a small bungalow in a swampy area in which i got violently ill from the massive amounts of black mold that had infested the cloth that was layered underneath the entire bamboo roof. I was here for Ayurvedic treatment, but when i left i was sicker than when i arrived. The director of the hotel forced me out of the premises when i demanded a refund. It was one of the worst experiences of my life and i absolutely cannot recommend for anyone to spend any time or money here. And for the record: i’ve remained chronically ill since my visit to this resort.

Yantra Ayurvedic Beach Resort is a beautiful accommodation option near Snehatheeram beach, about 30kms from Thrissur town. The resort offers three types of accommodations to choose from. Ramacham cottages provide budget-friendly non-A/C double sharing rooms with scenic views, while the second type offers well-furnished A/C rooms overlooking the sea. The resort features gardens, a swimming pool, and kind personnel and room service crew.
Our recent family trip to Yantra Resort with 24 family members was an unforgettable experience. The entire stay was filled with warmth, excellent service, and genuine hospitality. The resort’s staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met with care. Everyone especially enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the beach. The setting of the resort beautifully reflects traditional Kerala charm, surrounded by lush greenery, swaying trees, the sound of birds, the soothing ocean waves, and the cool breeze. We also had a complimentary breakfast, which was simple yet satisfying. It was the perfect private space for a peaceful and joyful family gathering. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in a serene, nature-filled environment.

Aiswarya S — Google review
Average Experience - Like a 2 star hotel. Not like a resort as we expect. The rooms (kerala cottage) are okay but the fan was not working until we swinged with hand and AC works on single temperature no matter how we adjust. There was no Dustbin in the room and no coffee / tea powders when we checked in. In the night we found a centipede in the bathroom and a dead cockroach in the room. No telephone to contact reception or no mobile number given. Since we booked the room, we wanted to take a photoshoot in the premises but they asked exorbitant price for that which is usually given to wedding parties. Sea view is actually not visible from the room or the resort area, it’s a separate land in front they have. it had some few huts and chairs to enjoy. The pool is okay, but not well maintained as the water color is not transparent and there was a slight layer of water bloom (payal) on top. Breakfast buffet is okay, do not expect anything great. The dinner order had to be given before 5pm. The food was great at night. Staffs are good and helpful as needed. Overall do not expect this to a resort standard or you will be disappointed. Just imagine it as a 2 star hotel and it will be good.

Yantra Ayurvedic Beach Resort offers a calm, beachfront escape focused on Ayurvedic wellness and relaxation. Guests enjoy the peaceful surroundings and traditional therapies, making it a good spot for a healing retreat. However, reviews are mixed when it comes to room cleanliness, service quality, and food variety. It's a decent option for those prioritizing Ayurveda and nature over luxury amenities.

Yantra Ayurvedic Beach Resort is a serene spot by Nattika Beach, ideal for those looking to unwind with authentic Ayurvedic treatments. Guests love the natural setting and the relaxing vibe. However, some have mentioned that the facilities and food could be improved. It’s best suited for a quiet, wellness-focused stay rather than a luxury holiday.

Family with 2 small kids, our stay was exceptionally great. Really friendly staff, feeling like a family. Great and clean beach, property areas, delicious meals, good Ayurvedic treatments, we will certainly come back. Kitchen was quite good to adjust our needs. For children there are activities like elephant park, marine water park, would be great if more activities around but beach and neighborhood was enough to keep our children engaged, even staff girls played with them when they had time. Overall great place to get treatment and relax with family.
Feruz M — Google review
Last year we discovered this place only by chance. Having no experience of Ayurveda we came with no expectations and were overwhelmed by what we received. Friendliness, professional performance of all staff, cleanliness, excellence of cuisine, beauty of the location - everything was so good, that we were sure, it could almost not be better. We were wrong. This year we returned, as a big number of guests do. Knowing what we could expect, we would have been happy with what we already knew. Much to our surprise, during the last year, many things still got even better with many small improvements in many places, composing a marvelous ensemble. Right at our arrival we were given the feeling of "coming home". The staff outnumbering guests by two to one was extremely motivated, highly talented and hard working in putting together an unforgettable program celebrating the fifth anniversary of the resort. Everybody had lots of fun and will surely never forget this occasion. After two weeks of wonderful daily treatments following medical consultations, excellent food, swimming in the ocean, romantic sunsets, good conversations with other guests and staff, it was again very hard to say good bye. Our general health had again improved tremendously and we felt great thankfulness towards everyone, who had contributed to this wonderful result. A part of our minds and hearts remains in this little paradise and we ourselves will return as soon as possible.

This small resort offers a wonderful Ayurveda experience. The people overall in the hotel are doing everything they can to let you feel amazing. As I checked in I was hearty greeted with flowers 🌸 and friendly smiles. So exhausted after the trip i received a fresh coconut. All Ayurveda treatments were conducted in a professional warm and open atmosphere. The doctors and therapists were doing their best to help in every way on all personal subjects. The food was always fresh and tasted delightful. They are offering a tridosha buffet. The chef also answered all kinds of questions and when asked for recipes they were printed and given. Overall I felt really well looked after and enjoyed my stay very much, could easily stayed longer and will definitely come back. The treatments were rejuvenating and I my joints are much more flexible now. I also have to mention the beautiful room and the garden especially which offers a lot of tropical plants, coconut 🌴 trees, flowers and beautiful butterflies. it was rain season during this time I was there, some days were also no rain others some times during the day and night.

We stayed there for three weeks and felt really being like in a family. You can relax and you can enjoy the stay there. Extraordinary staff and extraordinary management who try to implement all your wishes - and they can! Wonderful beach and nature surroundings. Their Ayurvedic Treatment is definitely adapted to each and every person with great care. Although they were completely closed during the Covid time - they are good organized, taking care and try to cure and help people - that is not easy after such a difficult time. The therapists and the Doctor (Dr. Nisha) are wonderful and supported by the owner and Managing Director Pavithran, Pavi! We will definitely come again! Thanks for everything!

Lovely and professional staff, tasty and healthy food, expertise in ayurveda. Yoga classes every morning are well balanced for different levels (they provide the mat), and you can also enjoy a wonderful and quiet private beach (with dolphins too!). Hotel
Hotel Elite International is a straightforward accommodation choice for travelers visiting Thrissur. Situated just 1km from Thrisur and 50km from Cochin International Airport, the hotel offers unpretentious rooms with en suite bathrooms. Established in the region since the 80s, it maintains its quality and generous hospitality. The central location of the hotel makes it convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to transportation options.
Elite international is excellently located almost on the round with view of the round from the room balcony. Most of the places are very easy to reach. It's an old property. But renovated. 24 hours check out is an excellent and cost effective. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. The breakfast is adipoli. Well thought of dishes and not normally available in other restaurants.

A strong smell of dust or feel old paint and surfaces. A 1970s feel. Old lifts, worn out hand rails to stain soaked and untidy uniform of the receptionist. We had booked a place for meeting and the allotted space was their board room. It was damp and no enough fresh air ever came to the corridors even. The coffee and tea was super Also the cutlet. The attenders were polite. No tissue or soap inside the wash room. The toilet was small and WC was old style.

I recently stayed at Hotel Elite International and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the building does feel a bit aged. However, the real highlight of the stay was the restaurant — absolutely superb! I enjoyed their complimentary buffet breakfast, which included a good variety such as fresh watermelon, banana, bread, jam, and a tasty fritter — all well-prepared and served fresh. The ambiance of the dining area was excellent too. Highly recommended for those looking for a decent stay in Thrissur town with great food and courteous service. Would definitely consider staying again!

This is my second time staying here.one was 2017 time,at that time i felt very unhygienic bathroom and toilet that leads to not wanting to use there..only Merit is more accessible to temple and town and restaurant facilities etc now 2025 i thought elite might upgraded that room and toilet but unfortunately this time also not upgraded first of my room rate is bit high 3000+ rs but looks very second grade like 800 rs facility only like bathroom looks very old and bucket unhygienic and all are old and night fan is not working condition but air conditioning is there . But service is good and respectful ✅. My suggestion please upgrade this hotel totally

My recent stay at Hotel Elite International in Thrissur was, without a doubt, a deeply disappointing experience. During check-out, a member of the reception staff became aggressively confrontational, escalating to the point of a near physical altercation. This behavior was completely unacceptable and left me feeling deeply unsafe. I strongly advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to carefully consider the potential risks involved. The incident significantly impacted my business trip and overshadowed what should have been a productive stay.

Hotel Merlin International is a modest yet inviting hotel with well-lit rooms and a laid-back restaurant. The staff, including the manager Mr. Mathews, Ranjith, and Sowmiya, are praised for their helpfulness in arranging transportation and providing excellent service. Its proximity to the railway station makes it easily accessible for travelers. The spacious party halls make it an ideal venue for gatherings.
It's a wonderful experience at Merlin International. One of the best parking slots I've ever seen in a city hotel. Location was the most ideal one as it was just a few feet from the railway station and a few meters from the bus station. Food and service was also excellent. During the two day stay we always got a smile. Thank you team Merlin. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience at Hotel Merlin International. The room was not clean when we checked in — dust on the furniture and the bedsheets didn’t feel fresh. The washroom had a stinky smell that made it really uncomfortable to use. To make it worse, we even found an unwashed plate left in the kitchen area, which clearly shows poor housekeeping standards. For the price they charge, the cleanliness and maintenance are far below expectations. Definitely needs improvement in hygiene and room service.

Very disappointing experience. We booked the lawn and hall for my brother’s wedding reception, but the management kept forcing us to use their event teams instead of allowing our own. One staff member even came drunk and misbehaved with our decorators and us. The hall had serious maintenance issues – the entrance ceiling was leaking, they “fixed” it with cardboard and during the function the welcome drinks and dessert counters got soaked. To add to the embarrassment, a local drunk person was lying right in front of the hall, which our foreign guests found extremely shameful. No real support was provided, yet they charged us heavily for everything. Only plus point – big parking space and easy access. Otherwise, this place is completely money-minded and not worth it.

Very bad front office.. rooms provided for bridal makeup was very dark..and ac was not properly working, bathroom odour was reflecting in the room throughout 🥵.. Front office mam can be polite to clients I felt really sad for that lady’s hispitality😶

Review for Merlin International My stay at Merlin International was very disappointing. The hospitality was far below expectations – staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, and basic requests took far too long to be addressed. The overall experience felt unwelcoming, which made the stay uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the price.

Very bad behaviour from the general manager Raghunath. I was so excited on my wedding reception which I planned on the location. Cancelled just because of the way the manager dealt with me.

Truly enjoyed the 5 night stay with my family...Located at a not so busy area away from the main city, but definitely accessible...Reception and house keeping Staffs had a welcoming smile always...Good tasty food served in the in house restaurant.. Complimentary breakfast was too good ...Highly recommended for anyone wishing to have a great stay in the vicinity of Trichur Town.. .

I recently visited the restaurant and had a wonderful experience overall. The ambiance was pleasant, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was well-prepared and flavorful. Every dish we tried was delicious and satisfying. The only slight disappointment was the cream chicken soup, which didn’t quite meet the same standard as the rest of the menu. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Loved the place, though it is a business hotel and I was traveling with family it was still the best choice. Professional approach to all things. Presentable staff and ample parking space. May be on account of off season I got a very good deal. Breakfast spread was quite good. Very tasty food. Without hesitation they graciously gave us a few extra hours. They have certainly won my loyalty for life.

Hotel Niya Regency offers a pleasant and comfortable stay with clean rooms and courteous service. They even allowed late check- in& checkout which was ideal for those visiting for any events. The location is convenient and close to the city, making it easy to get around. One of the highlights was the buffet breakfast — fresh, well-prepared, and with a good variety to suit all tastes. However, it was a bit disappointing that drinking water was charged, even though we were staying for just one night. It felt a little unreasonable for an otherwise well-rated hotel. Small details like this do matter when it comes to guest experience. That said, the overall stay was still enjoyable, and the breakfast definitely stood out. They had sufficient parking facility as well

Nestled in the heart of Thrissur, Hotel Luciyapalace offers a serene escape with its elegant accommodations and lush gardens. Just a short stroll from the iconic Vadakkumnathan Temple and Kauthuka Park, this upscale property is perfectly situated for exploring local attractions like Guruvayur Temple and Triprayar Sri Rama Temple. Guests can unwind on the terrace or in the garden while enjoying complimentary Wi-Fi throughout their stay.
The highlight is the prime location and it's just 5 min walk to temple and the round. The hotel is neat and clean. Rooms are well kept. Washroom fittings show their age and the shower head/taps did not work as expected. Food is superb and priced value for money. Ample parking available. Staff is very helpful
Manu N — Google review
This is one of the older hotels in Thrissur, but it is well maintained. The rooms are spacious, which made our stay comfortable. There is ample parking space. The location is convenient, with the Ring Road, temples, and many restaurants within walking distance. We stayed here two days after Onam and noticed a staff shortage, which affected service. At dinner, although there were five servers and a manager, they struggled to handle our group of 15. We understand delays due to fewer staff, but the bigger issue was that the team was often away in the kitchen, leaving the dining area unattended. Guests had to fetch water themselves, and placing new orders became difficult. It would help if the hotel ensured at least one staff member was always present in the dining area to assist guests. On a positive note, the breakfast was enjoyable, with freshly made dosas that were very tasty. Overall, despite the hiccups in service, the stay was good and the hotel remains a convenient and comfortable choice in Thrissur.
Raveen N — Google review
We had our Onam Sadhya with family here and it was way below average. I will put my review in 3 parts: Food- The food was cold and tasteless. One of the examples, The pappad was done maybe very early and wasn’t crispy at all and shows they are not experienced or concerned to provide a real Sadhya experience. Not missing to mention the rest of the items were more or less the same, doesn’t taste even close to the real dish. Being in the heart of Thrissur, I wonder how can they go wrong in understanding or providing a real Sadhya. The items are Kerala staple and the recipes can’t go wrong in Kerala. Service- The service was amateurishly done when I say this it’s not the place every dish is served we had a problem with as Sadhya has these rules but the lack of experience they showed in handling a large group by being super slow that one will run out of patience to ask for more. The venue- The room they chose to host the Sadhya was hot and hardly made us feel the AC was working. It was also dingy and dark. The reason why we chose a hotel to have Sadhya is for good food, ambience and service. Overall felt it was a waste of money and we missed Thirvona Sadhya for this year. We should have just gone to Hyatt regency or some other hotel or sat at home and ordered from some famous caterers than this!
Sreelakshmi A — Google review
I used to visit luciya before owing to their palatable dishes especially pork fry however now the pork fry becomes terrible because of 95% fat instead of meat. On the contrary the meat is not cooked well. I believe you will imbibe this problem to the escalation level and get it resolved. I was totally distraught of being how an established hotel llike luciya is doing such things. Problems will happen to anyone but solution should be done. Hence do not tend to pop up this problem. This is for your kind attention and action..

Excellent hotel. Clean and well, professionally maintained room. Value for money. I had a fantastic stay, thanks to the exceptional service and welcoming attitude of the front office staff Sri SATHEESH. He and his team made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and sincere approach. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. UNFORTUNATELY, my experience at the restaurant was marred by bitter attitude/rude behavior from Mr. SONAT JOSEPH. I was disappointed by lack of courtesy from him. Even young fellows at the restaurant were behaving properly. In this way it affected my overall dining experience adversely.

We hosted my husband's landmark surprise birthday party at Hotel Luciya Palace recently, and I can't thank them enough for making it so special! Right from the very start, their team went above and beyond to coordinate every little detail with such professionalism and care. The venue itself was elegant and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was flawless – every guest commented on how wonderful it all was. If you are planning an event, big or small, I highly recommend Hotel Luciya Palace. Their dedication, hospitality, and attention to detail helped us create a truly memorable celebration, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had very bad experience at this hotel. This is not 4stars hotel at all. Very bad service. We went there to stay for one night. We booked online. When we reached there we gave passport and checked in. First of all I m not local from that country they saw from my passport. They didn’t say anything at first and we went to the room. After few minutes they called from line ph and said please come down and fill the file because u are not from this country. So since being why they didn’t give me to fill . I told them ok I will come before I go out . Then I was about to sleep and they called me again and again for 3times. This wasn’t professional behavior at all.Even before I checked out they asked my passport again to check. The food wasn’t good also so salty and dry.

It's not enough to just build a four-star hotel. Not only the guests who come there, but also the drivers who come there are human beings. You don't have to do anything else for them. Just give them a clean bathroom. That's common courtesy and humanity.I have photos of your drivers bathroom, I'm not posting them here.

Five star hotel, but not providing not even the basic facilities provided by other five star rated hotels. Staff service was good, they're polite and attentive. Parking, lot of parking at the basement, but the parking management and people are not that much perfect. There was not parking slot available when I reached, and their way of handling guests are not that much good. Room: got an upgrade to executive room during our checkin, but that was just looking like a 3 star hotel room. Bathroom lights were not working, no fridge/mini bar as they mentioned in the booking sites. Other items missed: hair dryer, iron box, handwash. Other thing to mention is the view from the room, that was really nice, a city view, full glass walls which was beautiful, and giving good natural lighting. Restaurant: okay... That's all. Not having a large menu for the breakfast, but the available foods were tasty.

Disappointing experience at this supposed 5-star hotel. Yesterday, we hosted an event here and were let down by multiple aspects. - Staff were unprofessional and lacked responsiveness. - Hygiene levels didn't meet the standards expected of a 5-star property. - Quality of food didn't justify the pricing. Overall, doesn't live up to its 5-star billing. Wouldn't recommend for events given the mismatch between cost and service delivery.

We used their conference hall but the experience was disappointing. The bathrooms were unhygienic and resembled public toilets. Their food was also very bad and feels like old one. It was surprising to find such conditions in a hotel that claims to be of 5 star category.

The worst resort I have stayed till now. Room service is bad. No hot water. Still they are charging 70 rs for one litre water and 105 for one cup of tea. Please do not book this hotel it's really bad than other 2 star hotels nearby

The stay was terrible, stayed there for 2 days, booked their deluxe room and it is not much spacious and very poorly maintained. Does not provide drinking water which is the very basic amenities. The air conditioner, wooden flooring, toilet everything is in bad condition. The mattress and the blanket seems like a 100 year old. Not on the standard of a 5 Star hotels, could be a 3 start based on my experience and the facilities provided by the hotel itself.

We used the conference hall here(Garuda-Thrissur), but the experience was disappointing. The bathrooms were unhygienic and resembled public toilets, as I suspect they were not cleaned or maintained. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Thrissur, Joys Palace is a luxurious retreat that offers a delightful blend of comfort and elegance. This polished hotel features cozy accommodations, an inviting restaurant called Royal Court, and a rejuvenating spa where guests can indulge in soothing massages. With complimentary breakfast to start your day right, you’ll feel pampered from the moment you arrive.
My stay at Joys Palace was one of the best and most memorable experiences I’ve had. Captain Praveen, the Restaurant Manager, was exceptionally supportive. When I requested to keep my insulin cartridge in the fridge, he initially mentioned that there was one in the room. Upon learning that there wasn’t, he immediately arranged for a refrigerator to be placed in my room — and it arrived even before I finished my meal. His promptness and concern truly reflected excellent hospitality. Chefs Ajith, Sam, and Shone prepared exquisite, delicious dishes that were beautifully presented and warmly served by Athulya, Gauri, Khushi, and the rest of the restaurant team. Their attentiveness and cheerful service added great value to the dining experience. I would like to make special mention of Mr. Praveen again, whose thoughtfulness in remembering my room number and health condition made me feel genuinely cared for and valued as a guest. The guard at the gate, Mr. Paul, and the reception staff — Ms. Archana and others (whose names I unfortunately don’t recall) — were consistently courteous, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. I sincerely wish continued success to the entire team and growth to Joys Palace. Your warmth, efficiency, and personalized service make your hotel truly stand out. Warm regards, Dr. Ila Varma

Pulled up to Casino Hotel for a birthday party that was reserved there, (didnt stayed a night) and honestly? Solid choice. The place was pretty clean, which is always a green flag. The food? Fire. Chicken, Rice, and every other stuff they had, everything I tried tasted fresh and well made. Drinks were on point too, definitely not watered down, which is a win. The vibe was cool, and the staff handled the party setup smoothly. A good 4 star vibe, for what it was? Really solid. Would 100% pull up again for an event or just to chill for a night. ---

The hotel is easily accessible and has the convenience of an in-house restaurant. The rooms are a bit old, but efforts have been made to maintain them. It did feel slightly overpriced for the condition, especially with issues like the sink and bathroom needing improvements. Overall, a decent stay with some room for upgrades.

The original executive room had a bad smell. The bathroom does not have a working exhaust switch and the AC has a mind of it's own. But the front desk changed our room. The current one is smaller but cleaner. But the towels are soiled. Location is good.

I stayed at this hotel in Room 611 on 15-16 February 2025, and the experience was disappointing. The air conditioner was not functioning, so we had to rely on fans, making the stay uncomfortable. We requested a large double bed but were given twin beds, and to make things worse, the height of both beds was different, making it even more inconvenient. Considering we paid nearly ₹3,200 for a night’s stay, the service and amenities did not meet expectations. Would not recommend unless improvements are made.

Hotel Dass Continental is a modest hotel located in the popular Veliyannur area, offering simply furnished rooms, a bar, restaurants, and event space. The property provides various facilities such as free Wi-Fi, 24-hour front desk service, luggage storage, and parking. Guests have praised the hotel for its exceptional hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The rooms are described as luxurious with meticulous attention to detail in decor and furnishings.
I had a couple of days, really had a comfortable & peaceful stay. The location, room, food & hospitality is really fantastic. Special mention to Manager - Mr.Gibson, he is very friendly & co ordinated well during my period of stay. Overall a very good experience.
Natarajan S — Google review
The room was quite small, especially when compared to other hotels in this price range. The air conditioner was stuck at 27°C, which made it a bit uncomfortable. However, the service was genuinely good — friendly and responsive staff made the stay smoother. The complimentary breakfast was a plus point, with a decent spread that included boiled eggs (protein boost – always a win!). While my personal rating would be 3.5/5 due to the room size and AC issue, the good service pushed it up to a solid 4/5.
ASWIN S — Google review
It's a better hotel at the heart of the city. Easy to access with a nearby busstand and about 1 km from the railway station. Rooms were clean and the staff were well behaved. I booked through makemytrip, The rooms are a little expensive compared to other hotels with the same facility. Morning breakfast was acceptable with mainly focused on the veg menu. Overall good

*1/5 Stars - Appalling Experience at Hotel Dass Continental* We booked two adjacent rooms (102 and 103) but our stay was marred by a series of unacceptable issues. Upon check-in, we were informed that the AC would take some time to kick in due to the outside temperature. We went outside for some time and came back around 7pm. However, when we returned to our rooms, we discovered that one room had no AC power, while the other displayed a "C9 error" and was stuck at 27 degrees. The front desk's response was woefully inadequate. They kept us waiting for over an hour, requiring us to leave our main door open while they attempted to fix the issue. Their explanation - that mice had bitten through the wires - was dubious, and later, they claimed it was a circuit issue affecting nine families (although we saw no evidence of this). After a lengthy and frustrating ordeal, we were finally relocated to two new rooms (406 and 408), but only after I requested that the AC be checked before we moved. The incharge manager, Gibson, was somewhat helpful, but the overall experience was disastrous. The new rooms were equally problematic, with one room (406) having a foul odor and non-functional AC. We were eventually moved to rooms 206 and 208 around 12am midnight. Throughout this chaotic experience, the staff displayed a shocking lack of empathy, particularly considering we had a 5-month-old baby with us. No staff came for carrying the luggages during shifting time. The hotel's management, including the OGM ( Gibson's manager), showed no mercy for our distressing experience. Gibson mentioned that he had discussed with him as well. As a customer, I expect basic human decency and a modicum of respect. This hotel failed miserably on both counts. It's disheartening to encounter such a blatant disregard for customer well-being in our own state. The staff's inability to show even basic empathy is a sad reflection on the state of customer service. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel, especially for families. The worst experience of my life, and it's utterly shameful that it happened in my own home state! Very Pathetic 😞😞😡😡
Jinu N — Google review
I booked two rooms and stayed from May 10th (8 pm) to May 11th (11:30 am). While the rooms were clean and spacious we encountered some issues. One room's air conditioner wasn't working properly, and it took the hotel staff over an hour to resolve the issue and provide an alternative room. Additionally, the fan's speed regulator was faulty. I was surprised that a 4-star hotel didn't inspect these issues before handing over the rooms. Furthermore, unlike my previous experiences, this hotel charged extra for a bed for an 8-year-old child, which wasn't disclosed during my phone booking.

Hyatt Regency Thrissur offers bright and upscale accommodations with a restaurant, cafe, outdoor pool, spa, and gym. The hotel boasts one of the best dining experiences in Thrissur, featuring a diverse range of culinary options from traditional Kerala dishes to international cuisines. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the railway station and bus stand, as well as 90 minutes from Cochin International Airport, it caters to both business and leisure travelers.
Myself Dr. Joshie James. Yesterday, I had a family function at the Hyatt restaurant. The service, food, support staff, etc were excellent. Special mention to Mr. Sijith, ( the Chef) who prepared the cake for function and Mr. Prateek, who presented the cake elegantly on table, for the occasion.Excellent Service.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Thrissur with my family, and while the hotel's modern amenities and cleanliness were impressive, the service fell short of expectations. We booked the rooms to rest during a road trip, but our stay was marred by several issues. The room was located near an ongoing maintenance area, which caused significant noise disturbance and made it difficult to sleep. Despite complaining to the staff, the issue persisted for two consecutive days. The staff's response was apologetic, but their inability to resolve the issue or provide a suitable alternative was disappointing. In-room dining was another area where we faced issues. The food was not delivered as promised, and when I complained, the staff member apologized but didn't escalate the issue to their manager. Instead, they visited me in person, which seemed more like a gesture to placate rather than genuinely address the concern. During checkout, I raised these concerns and requested to speak with the duty manager. However, the receptionist's response was unconvincing, and the offer of a complimentary stay seemed like a standard response rather than a genuine attempt to rectify the issues. I emphasized the need for staff training and education, but my concerns were not adequately addressed. Given that the property is new and boasts best-in-class facilities, it's disappointing to see that the staff's professionalism and service standards are not up to par. I hope the management takes constructive feedback seriously and works on improving the staff's service quality. On a last note I’m still expecting their email as they promised me they will send an email 😂

Beware, the hotel requires ID proof for any kids who will be staying with you. Even if they are less than 10 years old. Luckily we had copies of their passports with us and got lucky. The bathrooms had stains on the wall and on the floor and were not cleaned enough. The walls on the rooms had black marks and there were scratches on the wooden surfaces. These made the room feel outdated. The rooms were quiet though. The restaurant was an underwhelming experience. Food lacked flavor and the dessert section was pathetic. The service was sub par. They didn't refill our waters and were empty for a long time. We had to specifically call for someone to clear off the used plates from the table. There was nobody who could be called for as the people there were busy fiddling with the billing machine. Apparently, that's all they cared about. I would avoid the restaurant altogether if you were to stay in the hotel. On the positive side of things, the rest of the staff were helpful and they even extended my checkout time by two hours. Valet was helpful as well.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. I would give a 5+ for it. The food from buffet is, okay but if you order using the menu, it’s beyond excellent. I loved the kappa thalichathu, I ordered it 3 days in a row. The tomato curry, chicken, mushroom curry with Kerala paratha were all good. Pardon me, I don’t recollect the exact names of the dishes. But in any case, the experience is one of the best in my life. I would highly recommend this place.
Soudamini N — Google review
Slightly away from town centre. Property may be the best considering the location. Buffet restaurant is located at the ground floor and serve delicious breakfast with many local options. Regency suites are located at the end of corridor combining two guest room grids. Quite spacious. But they said club lounge access is only for presidential suite guests unlike other Hyatt properties. The ensuite bath room is provided with tub, wc and shower cubicle, wash basin counter etc. The shower cubicle could have been provided with a drop or with a threshold with door opening inside. Since the door is opening outside the dry area gets wet most of the time. Pool is spacious and clean. Value for money.

Wow. I stayed in a room of two, just expecting this to be the average, moderate hotel you stay in. Immediately I was wronged. The outside was beautiful, luscious and vibrant. Everyone was so nice and kind. Got welcomed with juice. The buffet was really good! All food was very authentic and even some being continental, which is what I like about hyatt. Props to the regency cafe, the food was amazing. Same will be said to breakfast too. Good it was included In our stay. The room itself was so good. Every single piece of information was on the TV, we didn't have to ask around. And can I just say how convenient this place is, heck they even shine your shoes! The hospitality of this place is off the charts. Amazing pool as well, great vibe and atmosphere. Maybe the best hotel in kerala, if not india. Phenomenal job, Hyatt Regency!

Our train is @10pm our chkout tym was actually 7pm so we request them to provide a grace period of 1hr but the front desk person rudely said need to pay 1000/- even for 1minute extra. It's a very bad experience we had there. Also they haven't provided addtnl necessary kits for double stay. Water will be provided only if we asked else they will skip.

*3.5/5 Stars* I recently stayed at Hotel Thrissur Towers for a few days while attending to some personal work. The hotel's location is excellent, and I appreciated the ample parking space available. The property has a bar and restaurant attached, which is convenient. Although the hotel appears to be an older building, it's well-maintained. However, if you're looking for a modern aesthetic, this might not be the best choice. My room was comfortable, with all amenities in good working condition. The mini bar was a nice touch. I found the room rates to be affordable. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to try the hotel's food and beverage services, as my schedule was tight and I only returned to the hotel to sleep. Overall, Hotel Thrissur Towers is a decent option for those seeking a convenient, no-frills stay. *Pros:* Good parking, excellent location, well-maintained rooms, affordable rates *Cons:* Older property, not modern in style

after the rearrangement, the premium bar counter in the Ist floor, the management made a worst step. persons who frequently visit the bar counter feels discomfort and heavy rush. it will force to move or find some other space for a drink. the serving guys are doing their best but it will not solve the issue, now there are a lot of bars in the town, a visitor will have to find another location for a comfortable space for entertainment. pathetic decision from the management.

Hotels must have a defined policy of communicating directly with customers. When we inquired directly about room prices, we were told Rs 2470 per day. Finally, we booked through MMT, which was substantially cheaper and included breakfasts. I am sure Hotel Trichur Towers paid at least Rs 600 to MMT as a commission? I'm curious why Hotel Trichur Towers couldn't provide us with a more competitive offer, such as Rs 2000 inclusive of breakfast.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Money I had a very bad experience during my stay. The washroom in the room had a terrible stench, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The lighting in the room was very dim, creating a gloomy and unwelcoming atmosphere. Overall, the room gave off negative vibes and clearly needs renovation. For the price paid, the quality and upkeep were far below expectations. Very disappointed.

Did a program at this hotel. Happy to say that the event management team of the hotel is very well organized and structured. They were so polite and helpful. The conference hall had good lighting and sound and was clean and organized. The food was also very nice.

Rooms are clean, sheets are crisp, bath and toilet is clean, rooms are spacious, and well supplied with towels. The restaurant on the first floor was well maintained but largely empty in the evening. Breakfast was good with a decent spread. The staff are all well behaved and helpful. Close to the Round and easy to reach any place from here. The ground floor has a purely vegetarian restaurant which is very crowded. Overall a good place to stay
Narayana D — Google review
The place was clean and nicely maintained. There were patches of chipped off paint on the wall, but it was out of sight as the furniture was strategically placed to keep it out of your eyesight. We also ordered room service, which was pretty good to be honest. And it was reasonably priced. The hotel is also very close to the Thrissur Round. So it's well connected and no place is too far away.

Had A Good Stay! Great hotel with excellent rooms and services. About the room, you have everything from television and AC to coffee maker (including fridge and locker for certain rooms). And the room services are also great. The meals you are provided have a lot of options each time, and food is reasonably good. There are two places for having food, and I had it at "Adithi". The hotel is located at the centre of the town and opposite to the temple and ground entrance. Parking slots are reasonable considering the location of the hotel, still could have been even better with multi level parking.

Situated in the heart of Thrissur, this hotel serves as a great place to stay for someone in thrissur. Has room service, laundry and a great restaurant. Not at all affordable . The cost of the rooms provided in this hotel is very high. The accomodation provided by them is not up to my expectations as the room rent is very high. But the thing I want to say to u is that the food quality is great . I have taken room for 2 times there and in my experience I do not recommend this place at all.The parking facility is also very bad and if you are planning to take a room here in Thrissur Pooram time then it will be a paisa vasool for you as this place is the best if you want to watch all the events in from beginning to end in times of pooram. And also you can watch Vedikkettu very easily and in a clear cut view on top of the building

Subject: Feedback on ID Proof Policy – Suggestion for Better Clarity Dear front desk manager, I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share a concern regarding the check-in process, with the hope that it may help improve guest experience in the future. Upon arrival, I was informed that original ID proof was mandatory for check-in. However, your policy only mentioned “ID proof,” which typically suggests that a photocopy or digital version is acceptable. Due to this lack of clarity, I faced an unexpected delay and had to spend over 1.5 hours resolving the situation to produce the original document. This not only caused significant inconvenience but also disrupted my schedule. I respectfully suggest updating your policy wording to clearly state “original ID proof required” wherever applicable—on booking platforms, confirmation emails, and at the reception. Clear and precise communication can prevent such issues and ensure a smoother experience for future guests. Thank you for your understanding and attention to this matter. Best regards,

The front desk managers were extremely rude and unaccommodating. They insisted on original physical ID cards for every guest and refused to accept digital or photocopied versions. If you’ve booked for five people, all five must be physically present with their original ID cards at the time of check-in—otherwise, they won’t allow you to check in at all. The room conditions were terrible. There were bed bugs in my bed, and overall cleanliness was severely lacking. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The cottages are thoughtfully designed and set on pillars, offering an immersive experience in nature.
It was really nice place. Took us to river trekking which was wonderful. Saw many elephants and thought I was in an adventure myself with the person from the resort. It was near arhirapally falls which was an excellent view. The only thing is that food was too expensive. The same thing and quantity and the same weight I got for less money near by. But other than that the resort and overall it was really good. Would really recommend this resort if u like an adventure and a photography view very notice

This resort is quite close to Athirappilly Waterfalls, and the experience begins with a warm welcome from the towering bamboo trees that create a serene and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeted us with genuine smiles. The dinner was exceptional, delicious food served in generous portions, made it a truly memorable dining experience. There was a small trekking in the evening to chalakudy river and that was a memorable experience. I traveled with my family, and we loved the peaceful surroundings and the amazing ambience of the resort. However, there is some room for improvement in the service. For instance, basic amenities like tissues, shower caps were missing, and we had to request them. It would be great if they could be more proactive in this regard. Apart from this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time overall!

Overall: This establishment delivered on the promise of tasty food, but unfortunately, the positive aspects ended there. Our experience was marred by several significant issues, leading to an overall unpleasant stay. Check-in: The strict 2:00 PM check-in time, with no flexibility for early arrivals, was inconvenient. Indoor Game Area: The advertised indoor game area was essentially unusable and excessively hot. The table tennis set lacked sufficient rackets, the chessboard was broken, and there were no darts available. It has three air conditioners, but with no remotes available, and staff informed us that none of them were working when we requested they be turned on. Pool Maintenance: They added chlorine to the pool immediately after we left, preventing anyone else from entering. This was done in front of guests, which we found insulting. Food Service: The food service operated on a very strict and inflexible schedule, which was not ideal. Conclusion: While the food was a highlight, the combination of inflexible policies, unusable amenities, and perceived disrespect from management resulted in a disappointing and ultimately unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this establishment for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Delightful hotel with 3 swimming pools, a kiddie pool, multiple decks, overlooking a small water body and located on the road to Athirampilly / Vazhachal. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good staff. The only con was that we booked 2 adjoining rooms, but unfortunately we had to go up 2 separate flights of stairs to go from one room to the other. This is a room allotment issue and one I am sure can easily be addressed by the sales team. Food was really good and arrangements for dining were adequate. Will definitely recommend.

Experience a comfortable stay at Itsy Hotels Ammu Regency, located in Thrissur. The hotel offers simple rooms, some with air conditioning, and features amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi access and a banquet hall. Enjoy the convenience of room service and make use of laundry facilities during your stay. With its close proximity to Vadakkumnathan Temple and Kauthuka Park, this casual hotel is an ideal choice for travelers looking to explore the area's attractions.
I had a great experience staying here. The rooms were really neat and clean, which made the stay very comfortable. One of the biggest advantages is its location—it’s very close to the railway station, making it super convenient for travelers. The staff were very helpful and courteous throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Another great feature of this property is that it has its own in-house restaurant. The food there was genuinely delicious, adding to the overall positive experience. All in all, a well-maintained place with great service and good food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free stay near the railway station.

The staff were warm and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in process. My room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and satisfying. What truly made my stay special was the hotel's warm hospitality. The team went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home during my stay. I highly recommend Ammu Regency to anyone attending events or exploring Thrissur. The hotel's blend of comfort, convenience, and warmth makes it an excellent choice. Thank you, Ammu Regency, for making my convocation experience even more memorable!
ANANDU S — Google review
Ammu Regency in Thrissur offers a no-frills budget accommodation experience with some notable limitations. As a wallet-friendly option in the area, it delivers the basics but falls short in several aspects worth considering before booking. The rooms are simple and functional, providing the essential amenities needed for a short stay. However, the limited options are immediately apparent - both in room types and available facilities. The property lacks diversity in room configurations, which might be restrictive for families or groups requiring specific arrangements. The location serves as one of its stronger points, providing reasonable access to Thrissur's attractions, Budget-conscious travellers will appreciate the affordable rates, which represent fair value considering the basic nature of the accommodation. Cleanliness meets minimum standards but doesn't exceed expectations. The staff generally provides adequate service. For dining, the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only - an important consideration for guests preferring on-site convenience. The inhouse breakfast provided is limited to 2 main courses, but tasty. Recommended for solo travellers or couples seeking brief, economical stays in Thrissur who prioritize cost savings over amenities and don't mind the limited facilities. Those seeking more comprehensive services or variety in accommodation options would likely find better alternatives elsewhere in the city.

⭐ One Star - Worst Hotel Experience Ever I have travelled extensively across Kerala and South India and stayed in many hotels, but Itsy Hotel Ammu Regency, Thrissur is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Let me share why: 1. Dirty Bathrooms: The bathrooms were in horrible condition—dirty, broken walls, and absolutely unhygienic. I’ve attached photos to show how terrible it was. 2. Broken Facilities: Charging points were not working in the room properly. Basic amenities were missing or broken. 3. Terrible Customer Service: I stayed in Room 203, checked in around 6 PM on 13th June 2025, but was forced to check out the next morning, claiming that other guests were arriving. Interestingly, other guests who checked in after me weren’t told the same thing. Absolutely unprofessional behavior. 4. Poor Handling of Bathroom Amenities: They didn’t even provide basic toiletries. When I asked for them, they said I’d have to pay extra for things like toothpaste and brush. When I insisted that they mention this in the bill, they just waved it off. Confusing and unprofessional. 5. No Hot Water: In the morning, there was no hot water. When I complained, they told me I’d need to waste three buckets of water to “activate” the hot water—still didn’t work. Extremely frustrating. 6. No Responsibility Taken: I already conveyed all this directly to the receptionist. His response? “This is an old hotel. Renovation is needed.” That’s not an excuse for such poor service. To the management: Don’t ask me to send an email or WhatsApp. I already gave feedback at the reception. Fix your hotel first. Never recommending this place to anyone.

We went to have breakfast.. myself husband and 2 small kids below 5 yrs.. the breakfast amount per person is rs 100/-. We took only 2 plates... totally We had altogether 6 idlis and 1 portion puttu.. the total amount they charged is 300 rs.. I don't know whether 6 idlis and a small piece puttu will cost 300 rs.. those who will eat so much in the morning it is worth otherwise pls don't go... it is just their business trick ..

Zip By Spree Hotels Mangala Towers is a relaxed hotel with simple rooms that offers complimentary breakfast and parking. It features two restaurants and hosted a family get-together in one of its halls, which was praised for its ambience, food, and service. The staff are described as presentable, kind, and attentive to guests' requests. The hotel's cleanliness and arrangement of the hall were also commended.
I recently stayed at Mangala Towers and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the essential amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. The service was commendable, with every staff member I encountered being courteous, attentive, and eager to fulfill my requests. Additionally, the hotel’s location was highly convenient, offering easy access to the main attractions we planned to visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel has a great location and the staff were generally polite and helpful. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was spacious with decent amenities. However, cleanliness could be improved — the bathroom wasn't spotless and there was some dust on the furniture. Room service was a bit slow, and the food was average for the price. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re not too particular, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Pros: Excellent south indian food and some North Indian food. The food over here is the best I had among my hotel stays around the country. I need to appreciate the chef Ratheesh and the support staff. The staff is courteous and friendly. They always respond on time. The place is near Thrissur's landmarks such as vadakkunnathan temple, museum, palace etc. Plenty of food options around. Also the vadakke bus stand is in the vicinity. Cons: The hotel can be taken to a different level, if a bit more attention is given to the interior. The interior is okay.. however it needs a makeover to get to the next level. For eg. There are some patches on the furniture which are exposed.. and also some ceiling holes are exposed in the common walkway on the 4th floor ( where I stayed). Also, I feel the ventilation of the bathroom is not so effective which leaves a smell for a couple of minutes after use. The staff is willing to listen and explain that renovation is on. The overall experience is very good considering the budget and access to nearby major attractions.

Hi All, This is my personal experience when I visited the place in Jan 2025. The rooms where filthy, there wasn’t any water in the toilets. Changed rooms 2 times still the same issues persisted. There was some maintenance work going on and still they refused to acknowledge the fact. I would never suggest for business people / family.

The place has nice AC halls. Went for an engagement here, and they arranged the whole function and on top of it they arranged traditional kerala sadhya. Really nice and amazing tasty sadhya. The staff was really cooperative and was really helpful. The parking spaces were also adequate. The hotel is at a prime location. Overall it was a really nice experience and a big thumbs to the management 👍👍

Check out was very rude. When we asked for proof for early checkout, Mr. Wilson , he is general manager , he is saying there is no proof. Check with agoda. He didn't talk properly, very rude and shouting at top of his lungs that too with a customer. When we asked for proof, he didn't give an answer. Poor internal systems and controls. That shows the state of affairs. Very rude behavior of Mr. Wilson. Mr. eldrin, the receptionist was very good, and he also understood our query. He can be a general manager. Wilson is not good enough to communicate with a customer, being a so-called general manager. Management pls think thru who can be your general manager. We didn't find him to be one the way he reacted with us as a customer. You have lost one customer, and with this behavior, certainly many more. Zip Spree group, pls check on your training . If this is your tie-up and engagement with a customer, we certainly are dissatisfied. Edited - Well, asking for a refund and denial due to hotel policy is very common, and that alone wasn't the case. Since it was a medical emergency, we had to check out a day prior. I do not expect you to understand our issues. The problem arose with your manager when he refused to provide a bill for our stay plus food. This is not the first time we have been using a third-party site to book our rooms. All the hotels have provided us with a proper bill, which you failed to provide even on mail. Shouting your customers for asking a bill? And you state a personal harassment? Seems a joke The facts mentioned by you are incorrect , we had asked for bill to raise claim on agoda . The facts captured in review comments are clearly mentioned about the customer service that was provided by general manager Mr. Wilson, additionally why such a delayed response to a customer comment. There was no harassment from our end , Mr. Wilson was behaving rudely when we asked for a bill and process followed when somebody exits the hotel. So capture your facts properly. Additionally Mr Wilson's behavior is reported earlier also. There is no personal harassment, it is a clear state of your manager not behaving well with the customers, this is not first and last feedback. Many have said in past also. Additionally when somebody checkout early and proof of checkout needs to be updated with online portal. So you have conveniently created a problem for us as customers.

The White Palace Hotel is a relaxed accommodation option located near the Vaddakkumnathan temple in Thrissur. The hotel offers understated rooms and suites, along with amenities such as a gym, bar, and cozy restaurant. Guests have praised the cleanliness of the premises, courteous staff, and delicious food offerings. The hotel is fully air-conditioned with ample parking space.
Stayed for 3 days a fortnight ago and to sum up in a line: I enjoyed the stay. Right from stepping into the room, which was large and with a subtle, fresh, welcoming fragrance to having an early checkout with a request to block in case I come back, my experience had been 100% positive. The room was fresh (as mentioned earlier) and so were the linens - there was a nice, fresh smell to it reminiscent of my childhood! The bathroom, in addition to being well maintained, was clean and dry which is very important to me. Everything else was standard fare and it just worked. The staff was another highlight - everyone worked to ensure I had a pleasant stay, be it the security outside to help me with parking in front of the hotel as against the basement since my usage was high or be it the waitresses at restaurant Jalapeño - shout out to Anita for being the epitome of how a server should be in the hospitality industry. The food was amazing too! Room service was very polite and professional. The hotel comes with a bar attached which I did visit on a couple occasion and found it to be useful. The location is also kinda nice as it is very close to the main railway station and at a walking distance from the famous Vadukkanathan Shiva temple. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. This has now become my go-to hotel in Thrissur and the next time I am there, this is where I will be!

Stayed here for 4 nights. 4 star facilities exceed expectations. Good service and hospitality of staff. Must try their biriyani. Had a wonderful dining experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Mr. Ananthu, he was incredibly attentive, and polite. Every request was handled with a smile, and his timing was perfect—never intrusive, yet always available when needed. Truly made us feel welcomed and cared.

I booked a 2-day single occupancy accommodation at White Palace for my official travel. The room was good, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. As per my company’s original booking, breakfast was included, but since I was fasting for Ramadan, I requested the reception staff to replace breakfast with dinner. Without any hesitation, they assured me they would check with the restaurant team. Within a few minutes of entering my room, the reception staff informed me that my request had been approved. This thoughtful gesture of excellent customer care truly made my stay more comfortable. I sincerely appreciate the front office staff and the restaurant team for their kindness and support. Highly recommended for their hospitality! Thanks!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the White Palace Hotel in Thrissur, and it was an experience worth sharing. Location: Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel offers easy access to major attractions like the Vadakkunnathan Temple and Swaraj Round. Despite its central location, the ambiance inside is peaceful and serene. Rooms: The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities. The cleanliness and attention to detail were commendable. Service: The staff was courteous and always ready to assist. Their prompt service and friendly demeanor made the stay even more comfortable. Dining: The in-house restaurant serves a delightful array of dishes. I particularly enjoyed the North Indian cuisine, which was flavorful and well-prepared. Overall Experience: White Palace Hotel offers a blend of luxury and comfort at a reasonable price. It’s an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Thrissur.

Antique house which is converted to a guest house. Old wooden rooms with wooden cupboards. Wooden pillars. But the rooms have amenities like TV, intercom, AC, attached washrooms which are clean. The manager was very helpful by allowing us to checkin early, because we reached early morning in train. They also obliged extra bed (at an extra cost) since we were a family of three. Overall for the price it was worth it. We liked the stay

I really enjoyed my stay at Gurukripa Heritage, I'd definitely stay there again. My room upstairs was spacious & comfortable, and had beautiful heritage feature such as wooden windows & doors - really lovely. My window looked out over a ledge of potted bougainvilleas outside. I also used a smaller room to rest in before my late night train, and although it wasn't as charming as my room upstairs, it had its own verandah which was nice to sit outside on in the evening. The hotel is fantastically located, just a few minutes walk from the Sree Vadakkumnathan Temple, and other temples are within walking distance too. Autos are very easy to get nearby. There are 2 great veg south Indian restaurants just outside the hotel, so eating is very easy. The 2 men who were at the front desk when I was there were both very friendly, helpful & professional, and the other staff were nice too. Overall, I think this is a really nice, quiet, heritage-style hotel that's really quite charming & very reasonably priced - highly recommend.

Hotel wasin terrible condition and the staff had a rude, unprofessional attitude. Avoid this place. Worst hotel in Thrissur Reply I was not drunk when I requested the extra bed—I simply wasn’t aware that the room already had an additional bed. When the staff member came to deliver the extra bed, I immediately refused it, and he took it back without setting anything up. Despite this, I was still charged ₹500. The next morning, I explained the situation to the reception staff, but they refused to refund the amount. This is unfair and unprofessional. I request the hotel to kindly process the ₹500 refund that was wrongly collected from me.

Hotel Seafort is a great choice for travelers visiting Thrissur, with its convenient location just 900m from Thrisur and 50km from Cochin International Airport. The hotel offers spacious rooms with comfortable beds, making it suitable for short or long stays. While some guests found the non-AC rooms to be stuffy, the AC rooms were considered perfect but at a higher cost. Additionally, some visitors wished for better ventilation and non-smoking room options.
Though it's a old property, spacious rooms, AC working fine, maintained neatly.
Mahesh M — Google review
Worst hotel to stay, especially if you book non AC room. We had booked non AC room for a day, and it's not even worth for 1900 bucks. The rooms were not maintained properly, bed cushion was very hard and most importantly the fan air flow is not even sufficient to sleep. We couldn't even sleep even for 10mins in enter night because of no air flow from fan. Even after complaining to them several times, they didn't even fix or gave alternative room. They want us to adjust anyway. Worst customer service & support. Because of this reason we checked out morning 5am itself. Not recommended, there are some other good hotels near this stay.

My wife and I recently dined at the Sea Fort Hotel in Thrissur, near the railway station, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by the unacceptable behavior of one of your staff members, Mr. Haris. Despite the pleasant ambiance and decent food quality, the lack of professionalism exhibited by Mr. Haris overshadowed our entire visit. His rude and arrogant demeanor left us feeling disrespected and disappointed. It's truly disheartening when such behavior tarnishes an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. We sincerely hope that management takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure that all staff members, including Mr. Haris, understand the importance of providing excellent customer service. Improving staff training and fostering a culture of respect and professionalism will undoubtedly enhance the overall guest experience at Sea Fort Hotel. While we appreciate the efforts put into creating a pleasant dining environment, we urge the management to address this issue promptly to prevent similar experiences for future customers

The place is huge 20 acre area with lush greenery all around but you can only enjoy if u are in groups else on odd days if u are going there as a couple or a family of 4 it would feel unsafe / scary. snakes roam around freely(non poisonous as said by staff but snakes are snakes) Authentic kerala food or sadya is only available when u are in groups else the north indian chinese food menu is at your rescue(which you can find in any local resturant ). Don't follow the website because it is outdated..food amenities only few are there.. it is like living in a lonely village I had booked the place for my senior citizen inlaws for two nights ..special delux room for 10k(5k per night including breakfast only)... I got it at a discounted price(11k was it's original cost for two nights)..it is a normal ac room but with a patio overlooking the river They liked the heritage village kind stay but were scared of no people around plus seeing snakes around them...obvious reaction especially when u are old so they immediately moved to another place nearby that they found good and safe Now they didn't stay for even one night ...but still I had to pay 5k plus 2.5k the hotel demanded for next day So my complete experience here was bad ..with respect to the services being provided, only breakfast at such a high cost and the way they demanded I pay 3/4th of the bill amount even though my in laws didn't stay for the night...I found it rude..not customer friendly ...only working to earn money but not worrying about their customer's feedback.

Nice ambience and friendly staff. Food is great but will cost around 9 times you would pay in a restaurant. Overall nice place near to chalakudy river. Please note if you are going for a dine in experience you will need to book in advance.
Akhil H — Google review
This is a nice serene place by the lake 15 mins from Chalakudy highway. Good place to relax with family, however there are no activities to do and the access to the lake is restricted based on the safety aspects. A night can be spent but anything more can get a tad boring. The vegetarian meals were really good however the overall food was nothing exceptional. The rooms are quite basic and cost around Rs 5500 for two adults. There are some rabbits which the kids played with and had fun. The bullock cart ride was also a good experience. For any help or service you have to walk ll the way to the main office which is a bummer.
Karthik P — Google review
We made a direct call to the number provided and they responded promptly. There were rooms available and we paid a small amount in advance to reserve a room. Upon arrival, they compensated us for our early arrival with no issues. Their check-in is usually at 11AM, but they took us in by 9AM without any issues and quickly got us a room ready. The food is AMAZING. 10/10 absolutely loved the vegetarian variety they serve. Mind you, we didn't have options to choose from as they prepare food with available ingredients from their farm and it's really healthy. I will definitely come back just for the food. They do not have food room service, you will have to go near the reception area for having your food. The property is very well maintained with lush greenery and a river view. It's serene and peaceful to just enjoy a mesmerizing view. If you are planning to visit, and are nearby, bring your own vehicle to reduce the cost of travel. However, if you do require a vehicle for travel and exploration, the staff are more than happy to accommodate you. Suggestion - With so much space available, you can provide bicycles for the visitors to just ride around the area. It would be so much fun.

I've visited Rasa several times, and each time has been a magical and sentimental experience that transported me back to my childhood summers spent at my mother's house. The management and staff genuinely want to make the visit a memorable one. Clearly they are trained so well in this Gurukul. With its lush vegetation, classic Kerala architecture, and breathtaking river vistas, the resort was simply gorgeous. I particularly liked how the resort emphasized Kerala culture and traditions by using genuine artwork and furnishings all around the place.Everything gives you a taste of a magnificent bygone age, from the paintings on the walls to the bathroom decor. Another highlight was the food. Their traditional dishes are outstanding and deserves a five-star rating for both the food and the dining experience. Overall, I can't express enough how wonderful this resort is. Les 3 Elephants is a charming rustic hotel located in the lush surroundings of Kochi, offering traditional thatched cottages, a restaurant serving delicious meals, and a serene spa. The eco-resort is nestled near Cherai Beach and boasts bamboo-built structures that blend traditional architecture with environmental sustainability. Guests can enjoy stunning lagoon views and easy access to water activities like swimming and boating. The spacious garden provides a peaceful retreat for travelers to reflect on their experiences.
Les 3 Elephants near Cochin in Cherai is a quiet and harmonious place, far away from the urban chaos. Morning sunrise at your window on the backwaters on one side, beautiful sunset on the Arabian Sea on the other, just a few dozen metres away on foot. It's a place to meditate, to admire the simplicity and beauty of the surroundings. The staff is friendly and pleasant, almost like family. I thank them all for the quiet moments, for all the concerns and small intentions during my stay. Congratulations to the manager, Sudhir, for maintaining a spirit of kindness and care. Thanks to Vaishak who helped me get up when I was down. Thanks to Geraad for keeping an eye on my medication every day. Thanks to the many ladies for the delicious meals and the clean atmosphere. Thanks to Akshay the receptionist/accountant who hides his kindness behind a stoic face. It's a place where to admire the simplicity and beauty of things. A good place to take time for meditation. Also a place for serious medical treatment, massage, yoga. Ideal for individuals and small groups. A place to discover or come back to.

Serene Retreat with Room for Improvement I recently had the pleasure of staying at Les 3 Elephants, nestled in a tranquil spot near the backwaters and Cherai Beach. While not directly on the beach road, the resort's serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings more than made up for it. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable, with a unique charm that set the tone for a relaxing stay. I initially booked a standard cottage but was upgraded to a deluxe cottage, which felt airy and spacious. The outdoors were equally impressive, with beautifully landscaped areas perfect for leisurely strolls and chilling by the backwaters. However, the restaurant was a letdown. With only vegetarian options and limited choices, the food was disappointing. I would recommend opting for online delivery or exploring nearby eateries instead. Breakfast options were also limited, with only two choices available. Les 3 Elephants seems to attract a laid-back crowd, particularly foreigners who visit on weekends for spa and yoga retreats. This is not a party destination, but rather a tranquil oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation. Overall, I would recommend Les 3 Elephants for its peaceful atmosphere and comfortable accommodations. With some improvements to the dining options, this resort could truly shine.

I booked their premium cottage for around ₹6,000, but I was really disappointed. There’s nothing premium about it, it’s just a basic room. The bathroom is very simple, and the only amenity provided is an AC. The room has plain concrete cupboards, and the curtains were not clean. The staff were friendly, but my main concern is the room itself, I was surprised that I spent this much money for such a basic setup. Overall, it’s not worth the price and definitely doesn’t feel premium. However, the breakfast was really good, they served appam, puttu, kadala curry, and egg curry, all very tasty and authentic. The lake view was also superb, which was the best part of the stay.

A wonderful and cozy place to stay – the rooms are well-maintained, neat, and set in a quiet, peaceful spot overlooking the backwaters. Truly serene! Location was a bit difficult to reach, but thanks to the help from receptionist they give One small improvement could be the water quality in the stacked pond area, they could add some greens to give some more life to the black frogs. The night rain added an extra charm to our stay and the lighting made us to feel awake all night watching the serene beauty. The early morning view of the waters was pleasant as the fisherman rowing boats, throwing nets and early morning birds chirping gave a great feeling... The highlight, though, was the complimentary breakfast – absolutely authentic and unbeatable. No 5-star chef can match the taste of the Idiyappam, Puttu with Kamala Curry, and Mutta Kuzhambu. Sadly, we missed it on Day 1 – but on Day 2, I personally finished a full plate and even packed Idiyappam with Mutta Curry for my kid as a snack! Overall, a very nice and homely place with great local food that adds to the experience. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting a peaceful and authentic Cherai stay.

Pros: - Great location, right next to the lake! - The staff were super friendly and helpful. - It was really quiet and peaceful. Cons: - The place needs some serious maintenance. - The pillows and blankets were in terrible condition. - The complimentary breakfast was pretty basic, just the main course.

Nestled along the breathtaking backwaters, Les 3 Elephants is an oasis of tranquility and peace that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of calm, accentuated by the stunning natural beauty that surrounds the property. The location is nothing short of spectacular. With direct access to a pristine beach, I found myself captivated by the gentle lapping of the waves and the mesmerizing sunsets that painted the sky in hues of orange and pink. The backwaters offer a serene escape, perfect for leisurely strolls or quiet contemplation. It's a paradise for nature lovers, and I felt truly rejuvenated by the peaceful ambiance. What truly sets this resort apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I checked in, Rashid and Vishak at the reception were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm smiles and willingness to assist with any request made a world of difference. The housekeeping team deserves special mention as well. The elderly ladies who kept my room sparkling, clean, and warm went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. Their dedication and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciated their efforts in maintaining such high standards. In summary, Les 3 Elephants is a perfect getaway for anyone seeking peace, relaxation, and outstanding service. I left with a heart full of gratitude and memories that I will cherish forever. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting with an incredible team of staff who truly care about their guests. I can't wait to return!

Beautiful place with a beautiful, loving opening staff from the kitchen, to the loving ladies who provided Ayurveda treatment to the women who cleaned the space! Coco Palm Beach Resort in Thalikulam is a delightful retreat nestled near the serene Snehatheeram beach, just 30 kilometers from Thrissur. This charming resort offers a variety of accommodations to suit different preferences. Guests can choose from budget-friendly Ramacham cottages featuring non-A/C double rooms with stunning natural views, or opt for well-furnished A/C rooms that overlook the sea.
We, friends stayed for an evening and had a great time. Late night live food was superb. Early morning walk on the beach right across the street is an awesome experience. Breakfast by the patio overseeing the beach. Highly energetic Jagan taking care of us.

Both the property and the caretaker literally spoiled our vacation. The rooms were dusty, moldy odour, ac was not working, no hot water even drinking water was not provided at times. The caretaker was an irresponsible person who doesn’t knows his own job to do, he was there all time with his friends making his own newyear party, didn’t even care to provide us drinking water or check on us if we’re feeling comfortable!! He brought his friends to a private resort which was booked by us and enjoying his own time. I would not recommend this place to any family members, it might be okayish for unmarried people who goes with a group of friends but definitely not suitable for families who has got little children to assure our stays

One of the finest beach view resort in Thrissur. Good accomodation, hospitality and breath taking view of the beach is the main highlight. And also the staff named Jaganath was very helpful. He was very passionate and accurate in his service and delivered each and every service on time .

Overall, this property is a decent option for accommodation. Provides a satisfactory environment for enjoying time with friends. Beach front property. Lack of generator for powering ACs during power outages and just relying solely on an inverter is a negative side. Also it's essential to note that the food and service fell short of expectations.

I am tottaly unsatisfied with the stay . Cleaning is very bad. They even don't change the towels . If we ask for food they will say restaurantis closed . But room rents are too high. Even staffs behaviour is also so bad.
Atul M — Google review
My stay at Kallada Hotel was disappointing to say the least. Despite opting for an AC room, the night was unbearable due to a power failure with no backup options provided. For nearly 2-3 hours, there was no electricity, leaving the room uncomfortably humid. Even worse, the staff displayed irresponsibility by not answering phone calls during this time. The prices are unjustifiably high considering the lack of basic amenities and poor service. I strongly advise against staying here.

May have been built to star standards but now wears a deserted look. Now customers seem to be limited to the Bar. Restaurant had just porotta and chapathi at 5.30 pm and I was the only person there till 6pm. Rooms are tidy, bed is good, toilet is clean. Lonely locale on a service road. Had to drive 4 Kms to get veg food at A2B. No servrer boy was available at any time.

Sealine Beach Resort Cherai is a charming beachside retreat that offers a laid-back atmosphere with comfortable accommodations. Nestled right by the shore, it provides guests with stunning sea views and a sense of privacy. The resort features well-maintained rooms and attentive staff who ensure a pleasant stay. While there isn't an on-site restaurant, breakfast is complimentary, though other meals must be ordered online. Guests can enjoy Ayurvedic treatments for relaxation, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tranquility by the water.
Decent rooms, excellent location and good food. The resort is right on the beach. We took a sea view room and sitting in the balcony was so enjoyable. The restaurant had good food and great view. Overall, good value for money compared to other resorts around. The only negative experience we had was that wifi signal was very poor for our room.
Vamsi C — Google review
This resort is located by the roadside and is close to the beach. The building has three floors, with the first and second floors offering sea-front views that create an excellent ambiance. The rooms are average, but the rent is quite high compared to the facilities provided. The washrooms could be more hygienic. A food canteen is available in a separate building nearby, serving a variety of food with average quality. However, the parking area is limited, accommodating only two or three cars.

Had a relaxing stay at Sea line Beach Resort last Friday. The beachfront location is perfect, and the staff was warm and welcoming. Ideal for a family getaway 👨‍👧
PRAVIN G — Google review
Only advantage of this resort would be the location, located right next to the beach. Room tariff are too high as for what you get. No proper WiFi connection in the room, they charged for an AC room but whole night AC didn't work because of power cut. Hygiene is below average in the room and toilet. It's more like a lodge then hotel.. they mentioned breakfast included but later changed their statement and charged for the breakfast as well. Food is just limited to bread omelet and masala poori and that too very expensive. Overall I will not stay here another time..
Anamikagovind — Google review
Rooms are as usual, room rents are quite expensive not worth according to their tariff and facility. The only good review about this hotel is their beautiful views from the 3 rooms. The Arabian sea can be felt, as the hotel is just in front of the sea, so the smell of fishes may disturb you. Great hotel for Couples as Kids will get bored here.
Binod G — Google review
Wonderful place to stay alone, with friends and family. We three friends stayed here for a night and another day. We checked-in at 8:00 PM and checked out at 2:00 PM. Have taken a single room which was fully furnished and neat clean. You can also find hot and cold water in the bathroom. The room was big enough for three people, the best part is there is only one double bed available but since they know we are three so they added one extra bed for us. Prices are budget friendly. We paid 6,000 rupees only with breakfast. Without breakfast it will cost only 5,000. Do you know, why we stayed here rather than somewhere else? Well Sea ⛵🌊 was the reason. This resort is very close to the sea. You can see, enjoy and feel the wave sounds of the sea. No one is going to bother you. Just watch the sea while having drinks and food. You are free to sit outside with mug of Beer 🍺 and also free to eat outside on beach bench. We had quality time... It's a memory now. I will rate this resort 10 out of 10. Because of their understanding, support, services, sea facing room and balcony. You must stay here with your partner 💖, family and friends or alone.

One of my pathetic experience for me and my family. What they show ONLIVE vs REALITY is different. Staffs MISBEHAVEs with Guests. This would be the WORST property on CHERAI. IF you want to spoil your vacation and suffer then you can try. 1. ROOMS:At first very POOR QUALITY Rooms. They will claim Deluxe or Suite but those are not even C grade rooms. UNCLEAN,SABBY,DAMP,Smelly bed. 2. SERVICE: HORRIBLE ! No intercom. Room service boys(only two) don't understand anything. NO HOUSE KEEPING AT ALL. 3. RESTAURANT: VERY EXPENSIVE. TEA Rs 70, bread/omlet 150. only one person in the kitchen ,he is shef,he serves,he cleans . NO option either bread omlet or poori that too cooked in poor Quality oil. 4. Reception. Only One person , He is manager...ARROGANT,IMPOLITE,MISBEHAVING. 5. NO SAFETY. 6. DOOR locks doesn't work. Even given on FREE I won't choose it next time. 7. NOT MAINTAINED PROPERTY..

I have come to this Asramam for over 12 years now for different treatments. Starting with Dr Sabareesh and now Dr Lakshmi with their respective teams have been outstanding! Dr Lakshmi, Aneesh, and Vijesh treated me this time round. And I feel great after the treatment. Dr Lakshmi’s treatment planning was spot on and barring initial communication issues was very patient and effective. Aneesh and Vijesh worked very hard on me and patiently listened to my needs. They are the real superstars and I’m grateful to them!! Ayurvedic treatments take time but yield great results. One just needs to believe and be patient 😇. I recommend this place above any in the vicinity.

This isn't even a proper hotel i would say. They dont even have a service boy, no intercoms, etc. Just a lodge. I had to come down three floors to fetch bath towels which wasn't provided in the room. The payment was to be made in advance. Dental kits were not provided and waste bins also. Very poor service

Stayed for a day. Was extremely happy. Large rooms, very clean, modern and large bathrooms. Good Air-conditioning. But this is a lodging place only and no restaurant. Yet, it's very convenient. There is a Brahmin veg hotel across the road with very good food open from 7.30 AM to 9.30 PM who even deliver to your room. And with swiggy available round the clock, you get to order whatever you want directly to your room. Hotel provided plates. Very well behaved and friendly staff. In the heart of the city with great connectivity by auto or Uber. A small issue is that since it's on M G Road, there's a bit of traffic sound coming in from the roads. And parking is a but tight. Apart from that, it was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We directly booked 2 rooms via calling the reception and while check-in they were not ready to provide rooms booked saying that they are fully booked. Receptionist was saying that never said rooms are available & After showing them the proofs they allocated another room and charged more than what we booked for. Rooms are really spacious but not properly maintained and we couldn’t lock the room door. This was a 2 bhk type connected rooms. Main door was okay and we couldn’t lock the room doors.

Average experience at Sona Hotel. The service was good, and the room and toilet were clean. However, I was disappointed that basic amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided. Additionally, breakfast was not included, which was a surprise. Considering the room tariff of ₹2200, I felt it was overpriced for the services provided. Not worth the money.

Stayed at Sona Hotel for a night. The room was good and clean, and the location was perfect on the main street. The staff at night was helpful, and looked after our small requests even when we arrived late in the evening.

Our 3BHK apartment was well furnished and cozy. The staff were very kind and helpful. A really good place to stay at. I had a wonderful time here.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Everything about this place was excellent from the starting until we left and memories of our stay, beyond. The entire property gives a 5 star feeling from the gate itself. The maintenance, running staff, the behavior of the staff, vigilance throughout the property, immediate and prompt response to our queries within as well as before entering the property, are just a few to count. The staff behaved like a family awaiting our homecoming after years. It truly felt wonderful. The property was impeccably well maintained, excellent quality furniture, amenities, electronic items and electric fittings. We had a very comfortable stay at a very lovely place is what we (my husband, daughter and I) have to say. It is one of the best properties we have travelled to, within Kerala as well as within India, written about and shared on various platforms. Highly recommended by all of us. Yes, we are coming back again and we would like to experience the same as we did this time. Well done Team...!! So proud of each one of your team members who made our stay memorable.

🚨 WARNING: HORRIBLE STAY EXPERIENCE AT ROOM 8C, 8th FLOOR 🚨 💔 So-called 'Luxury' — More like a glorified OYO! I stayed in Room No. 8C on the 8th floor and had an absolutely devastating experience! While the place may appear new and modern on the surface, the actual service and hygiene standards are shockingly poor. The only thing “luxury” about this property is its price — which is comparable to a 5-star hotel — but the service and cleanliness? Not even 1 star! ⭐❌ Here’s a detailed breakdown of issues I faced: 🧻 WC Jet – No water pressure! Basic sanitation is compromised. 🚿 Bath Towels – Supposedly fresh, but they were stinking like they hadn’t been washed. 🛏️ Bedsheet & Pillow Covers – Not changed. Bedsheet had visible stains! Totally unhygienic. 🛠️ Bathroom Ceiling – Open gaps, looks incomplete and shabbily constructed. ❄️ AC Unit – Airflow was almost dead. Cooling ineffective. ☎️ Landline – Not working. No way to contact reception at night. 📶 WiFi – Completely down. No internet access at all. 🚪 No Night Caretaker – From 11:30 PM till 8:00 AM, there was NO ONE available in case of emergency. 🔥 Hot Water – Not available consistently. Basic comfort not provided. 🧴 No Toiletry Kit – For the price charged, at least a basic kit should be mandatory. 💸 The charges were premium, but the experience was worse than a budget lodge. This is not hospitality – it's daylight robbery masked behind a new building. 👉 Would I recommend this place? Absolutely NOT. Instead, book a stay in reputed hotels with real standards and verified reviews. Don't waste your hard-earned money on this disappointing experience. 🚫 SAVE YOURSELF the trouble. You deserve better for what you're paying.

One of the finest luxurious and lavish stay I ever did. Clean and neat rooms, felt like a 5 star suite room. Indoor swimming pool and games to make the children occupy was awesome. Food restaurants was very near by, could get veg, non veg. And finally the owner of the property was down to earth person. Loved and will love to be back again.

Celesto Luxury Residences by Chackola's Hospitality at M.G. Road, Thrissur, Kerala, proved to be an excellent choice for our team of 15 Indian Airforce veterans during our stay on December 9-10, 2023. The central location offers easy access to Thrissur city, and the property is surprisingly serene with ample underground parking. The 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are impeccably clean, equipped with essential amenities, and boast well-maintained bedrooms and bathrooms. The dining area is well-appointed with a refrigerator and cutlery, providing a homely feel. The air-conditioned rooms add to the comfort. The standout feature is the highly trained and attentive staff, available round the clock to cater to our needs. Although there are no on-site restaurants, the option to cook or arrange catering through the efficient front desk, especially with Moosa Catering, ensures a satisfying dining experience at a fair price. A special commendation goes to Abilash at the front desk for his exceptional service. Overall, our stay at Celesto Luxury Residences was enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend this property to others without any reservations.

Nestled in Kizhake Chalakudi, Kerala, Back to Roots Ayurveda Retreat offers a serene escape just a short distance from key convention centers. Guests praise its location and cleanliness, highlighting the opportunity to engage in traditional Indian healing practices. Visitors appreciate the warm hospitality and professional treatments that help them unwind from stress and overstimulation. The retreat's authentic buildings, expert staff, and excellent meals create an unforgettable experience that often draws guests back for more.
Back to Roots is a wonderful Ayurveda center nestled in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Every aspect of our stay — from the rooms to the hospitality — was absolutely exceptional. The place radiates positive vibes and energy, and each and every team member at Back to Roots is incredibly kind and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Krishna Kumar, who very sweetly helped us book our stay, Mr. Cijin, who took such great care of our needs throughout, Dr. Mariya, and the rest of the team. Adusha, our therapist, and the cleaning staff, Mini and Seena, were also extremely kind and attentive. The team truly took such great care of us that we are already looking forward to returning. The property also has a well-maintained poultry farm and spice plantations, which add to its charm. The people are warm and welcoming, and the therapists are highly skilled and experienced. Overall, I would highly recommend Back to Roots to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway or looking to heal from any health concerns.

Back to Roots is a very pleasant place. A very natural and peaceful environment, friendly staff and personal contact like a family, only 45 minutes from Cochin airport. Treatments were well adapted, with yoga and meditation for those who wish the additional level. I found the food tasty but a little repetitive, with an unexpected but welcome weight loss of 4kg in 2 weeks. Highly recommended.

Thank you to everyone at Back to Roots who ensured my family and I had a dream stay. From my first contact with the manager, Krishnakumar, I had such a good feeling about this place but it exceeded all my expectations. Krishnakumar was very helpful via email and was able to answer all my questions. Everything was very efficient and well organised. Once we arrived he always made sure we were comfortable and well looked after, especially my daughter. The three doctors who consulted with me, particularly Dr Merrin, were very diligent and thorough and organised a comprehensive program for my husband and I to make the most of our stay there. My therapist Adusha was amazing and so so caring, kind and attentive. I'm very grateful for all the care she put into every treatment. The treatments were authentic and professional. The reception staff were also smiling and warm and they made every effort to entertain and play with my daughter while we were doing treatments so I could relax fully. Ramith was so kind to help us with some shopping in town and take us to a local temple as well as on a beautiful tour of the local waterfalls, which was such a great experience. Adi, the chef, always had a big smile on his face and delivered up the most beautiful and fresh Ayurvedic Keralan cuisine, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The cleaners and ground staff always smiled and made us feel very welcome. It felt like everyone was part of a family, which gives this place a very positive and healing energy. The place is more beautiful than the photos and the rooms are very comfortable. We miss it all already and cannot wait to return 🙏

I want to thank the whole team of Back to Roots for my outstanding Ayurveda retreat and best service I have ever experienced 🙏🫶🥰 Definitely I will come back next year to detox and free my mind. First of all my thanks go to the manager Krishna, he organized everything what came to my mind to make me feel home and comfortable and make this Ayurvedic cure fulfilled with beautiful excursions and relaxing treatments including sightseeing, shopping, temple visit and lots more. I am really happy to had Dr Vasudevan who looked at my personal issues, my feelings and helped me with the perfect Ayurvedic lifestyle. With all the support from Dr Merin and Dr Mariam they helped me to find the perfect treatments I needed combined with the right medicine. Big thanks to my therapist Viji for all the treatments she gave me which were relaxing and detoxing while supporting my Langhana slimming programm to get fit again. With her positive energy and kindness she put a smile on my face every day. Many thanks also to Rammy who came with me whether it was for shopping in Chalakudy to get all my herbs from the market or visiting the waterfalls in Anthrapilly which was an incredible experience as we saw wild elephants. Back to Roots Ayurvedic clinic in Kerala couldn’t be more authentic, they use their own herbs and plants from the garden and farm animals for the buttermilk. My special thanks also go to the kitchen and the chef cook Adi for his delicious and fresh meals and beverages. With the cleaning and garden staff it was really perfect 😍 all of YOU are great! I am so grateful and full of love after this Ayurvedic experience. I felt like having a little family around me. So I can’t wait to see you all again and bringing my friends to explore this with me! Sending you lots of love 💕🫶namaste 🙏🫶 Anja

We spent two weeks at Back to Roots for Detox. We were taken care of very well, excellent service and super helpful and friendly staff. The therapists and doctors went above and beyond to treat us. The retreat is nestled inside a plantation forest next to a river, its calm and the trees provide plenty of shade and cool. There are a couple of farm animals, a beautiful garden and a pond with fish. Food was very tasty and adjusted to your dosha and treatment plan. Daily Yoga and meditation sessions made a huge difference to our wellbeing and were instructed in a way that we can easily continue by ourselves afterwards. We can highly recommend getting treatment at Back to Roots and staying there is peaceful and tranquil. We came as guests and felt that we left as friends, very heartily and warm. Thank you to the team for the great time and kind farewell presents

Heaven of healing and tranquility. i recently visited Back to Roots, nestled in a breathtakingly beautiful natural setting. From the moment I stepped into the serene beauty I knew I was in for a truly transformative experience. The centre's surroundings are lush greenery and vibrant flora that seemed to dance in the breeze. The atmosphere is peaceful and calming, perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating the mind, body, and spirit. But what truly sets this centre apart is its extraordinary staff. From the warm and welcoming reception team to the expert therapists and doctors, every single person I interacted with was not only knowledgeable and skilled but also kind, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my well-being. The treatments themselves were exceptional - I got a customized program on my needs, which included a range of therapies, from massages and steam baths to meditation and yoga sessions. Each treatment was carefully tailored to my specific needs and concerns, and the therapists were meticulous in their attention. Throughout my stay, I felt deeply nurtured and supported - the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, from providing delicious and healthy meals to offering helpful advice and guidance. If you're seeking a truly holistic and transformative healing experience, look no further. This centre is a true gem, and I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it.

My husband and I stayed two unforgettable weeks at Back2Roots. Hidden in the Kerala countryside, away from the tourist crowds, this Ayurvedic center is a little gem in many ways: the beauty of the location, the cleanliness of the property, the quality of the treatments and the friendliness of the team. Wellness manager Krishnakumar is the perfect host, making every day a special day. Doctors Vasudevan and Mariya develop tailored treatment plans and do daily follow-ups on the wellbeing and progress of their guests. Therapists Ramith and Sijin are devoted caretakers, who accompany their guests with professionalism and empathy. Chef Adythian and his crew have prepared the most delicious dishes and made us fall in love with Ayurvedic cuisine. Cultural activities, daily yoga and the refreshing pool made the days feel short. All Back2Roots staff members treated us with utter hospitality, kindness and respect. It felt like home away from home. Thank you for this unique experience!
