It’s a cool hotel on paper However we feel highly disappointed because most of the shops were closed during our stay. We could food choice very limited. We had to go to Poseidon buffet for breakfast and dinner. We arrived the hotel a day before the tropical storm. They did not well informed the guest but just slipping a paper saying they could close facilities and would inform guests. They did not. We booked the hotel because of the access to aquadventure. Ended up all of the major attractions like leap of faith or surge or fall were closed for my entire stay!!! they did not even bother to update these to their guests. Ironically when the tropical storm was gone the hotel slipped another paper to your door saying things were resumed (not really) and check the app for update. Nothing ever updated in the app!! The hotel is badly managed. Their major competitor we stayed later update their guests about their facilities status Finally shout out to some helpful staff like those in dolphin cays and Danakly who helped me rescheduling booking

Very nice hotel - went beginning of May, the weather was very hot, there’s many restaurants to chose from: the breakfast we did the buffet every morning, just easier, but dinners at all the different restaurants were bomb - Nobu and the Italian definitely top choices. Dinners can be expensive, lunch was relatively affordable, but there are many options for both. You can walk the underground aquarium under Atlantis all the way to the beach from the hotel. There’s plenty of bars, live entertainment and a casino for adults. Lots of shops, lots to see, the kids loved it, we definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone that visits the Bahamas. Very beautiful hotel. Lots of walking. There’s a gym too. The pool area for kids has an entire playground which was awesome the kids really loved it. The beach didn’t have umbrellas, the beach chairs have canopy’s but not all the beach chairs have canopy’s so if you need shade best get there early and get the chairs with the canopy. The hotel was super clean and really had everything for the entire family to enjoy, they also had giants sized games for kids and adults by the pool. Not to mention the giant pyramids slide.

Best resort on Paradise Island ☺️ love it, so many things to do, family friendly your kids will never get bored and you'll enjoy your stay. I love it, the beaches around are amazing, 50 shades of blue and the water is warm and clear, you can see the fishes. Overall I really recommend this resort. We enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly everything was great no complaints.

Loved it. If you get a day pass. Go super early so u can enjoy the whole day. Place is massive and so many to do. The Dig, massive aquarium, Waterpark, pools, beach, ect.. so many. Loved it.

Best place I’ve stayed in Nassau to date. I don’t have any children but 1)wasn’t overwhelmed by kids at all 2)I’m still convinced the park and resort was designed for adults anyways 🤷🏻‍♀️

Let’s talk about the cons real quick there weren’t many of them - Con : checking in at harbor side was a big hassle, we were told 1-2 hours and it turned into 4 hours. We had stopped by a grocery store before hand since they don’t offer free water in the room like a filtered water dispenser so we bought lots of goodies. They were very kind to bring it into our rooms. We had 2 rooms with a party of 6 people, we wanted just one room cleaned so we can go inside and relax since it was a lot of travels but they mistakenly had poor communication with the cleaning people and they didn’t realize the room was already clean, if we found out we would of had access much faster Pro: we love this place, we have a time share so we can go every year, the staff is beyond amazing they work incredible hard! We even had one staff member open a coconut for us when we walked out of our room and saw coconuts on the ground after lots of rain and wind. The water slides are amazing such as the leap of faith, I loved them all and the people attending the slides are awesome! Love to see so many life guards everywhere. The harbor side is incredible we loved every second, the beach has lovely areas to lay in hammocks, etc. the restaurants are all wonderful, they offer gluten free and vegetarian which is delightful. Being here for 7 nights was a dream, everyone was so kind and joyous, definitely a 5 out of 5 star experience regardless of the check in and no water dispenser, they made it all worth it! Thank you Atlantis and Harbor Side for being beyond awesome!! We love to see how much they improved on over the years on the water slides, how they have a Barbie experience since my partner is in love with Barbie and would love to advocate the Barbie experience since she has everything Barbie and is an entrepreneur + has amazing marketing skills. We feel there is a lot of people that would love to see more Barbie!

This resort was fabulous, a class act the room was beautiful. We also had a room with an ocean view. The aquarium is located on each resort, there are four resorts and condos within the properties. If you stay in the condos you have full access to all four resorts. The resort I stayed at is where the casino is located. This place is outstanding.

Four seasons carries the weight of a prestigious name, but it doesn’t quite live up to it. Service is slow and inconsistent, with repeated orders and long delays, and staff fall short of the brand’s usual standards. Despite nearly a week’s stay, we were still being asked if we were guests—even while carrying a Four Season tote. For the price, the experience feels far from refined—more marketing than substance, at an unjustifiably steep cost. Writing this in hopes that management takes note—these issues are unlike anything we’ve experienced at other Four Season properties, and also for further guests to curb their expectations.

Place is amazing. Staff are so tentative and very friendly. Rooms are clean and just perfect for couple's. Food was delicious thanks to Chef Kendra (Dune), whom with her brigade made all food execution delicious and memorable.

My spouse described this as “a bad Four Seasons.” As always, the secret to a great hotel — as opposed to a merely good hotel — is the attention to detail. The rooms were nice, with a lovely view of the beach. But housekeeping was spotty; sometimes we didn’t get washcloths, or the room wasn’t cleaned until late afternoon— and then turndown services showed up an hour later! The restaurants were beautifully situated on the beach, but there were only two of them and the sane menu, day after day all week long, got tedious. The servers got orders wrong, or didn’t refill water glasses, or disappeared altogether. The spa was the big disappointment. The facility had clearly been a second thought, and former guest rooms seemed to have been turned into the massage rooms. This meant that the customer has to use the en suite bathroom and vacate the room quickly. No lounging in the lovely private garden outside, because it’s visible from the room where the next client will be: shower and go. There’s just one towel to use: nothing to wrap your hair in. You might get a washcloth. You might not. No bath mat. Oh, and the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner? Someone already used them, and they’re half empty. Not a good look for a luxury spa. (These aren’t big pump bottles; they hold a couple of tablespoons.) For these prices, they should try harder.

Given the Four Seasons name and the price point, I expected far better. Pros: -The service is very friendly, and genuinely so. You can tell the employees enjoy their jobs and are proud of the property. -The location is unbeatable. It's private, while still close enough to walk to the Atlantis (via the beach) and to other neighboring properties. -The rooms are quite nice and well maintained. We had an oceanfront suite and enjoyed the immense amount of space, the gigantic bathroom with two separate sinks and counter areas, along with a big tub and shower. -The grounds are stunning. The landscaping is beautiful, the colors are vivid, and the backdrop against the ocean makes for some incredibly relaxing and beautiful moments. The on-site Versailles Gardens are a feast for the senses. -The spa is beautiful and serene, with very friendly and well trained staff. Now the Cons: -The service is simply not at the caliber of a five star hotel. There were multiple instances where we were left severely disappointed by the quality of service. For example: (1) On one day, after having been out of our room from before breakfast until after lunch, we returned only to find that our room had not yet been serviced. While this alone was a disappointment, this also meant our room was not restocked with water (which cannot be drank from the tap), putting us at danger from dehydrating on a 90-degree and sunny day. The staff didn't make any attempt to make-up for the oversight other than to send housekeeping over a few minutes after calling to complain. (2) We requested an iron and a bucket of ice to be delivered to our room. When we returned nearly 2 hours later, it had not been delivered, and when calling again to ask for it, they didn't even acknowledge our initial request. (3) When we first arrived at the hotel, our room was not yet ready, so we had lunch at Dune (the main onsite restaurant) and paid for it via credit card instead of charging it to the room (since we had not yet been assigned one). When the server brought over the credit card machine with our check, it was provided to me with 3 different tip options (none of which were "no additional tip"), even though 15% gratuity was already embedded into the check. This left a sour taste in my mouth from the get-go and made me felt like I was being taken for a ride. -The dining selection is simply not up to par. There is one "regular" restaurant (Dune) that is open for all meals, and then there is the pool bar and beach service. Not only is the number of dining options small - so are the menus, with a relatively sparse selection for each meal. -The dining prices are simply excessive (even for a five star hotel), largely a function of not much else being within walking distance. Breakfast will easily run $50/pp, and lunch/dinner $100/pp, before even accounting for alcohol (which is also excessively priced).

The best part of our stay was the amazing/5 star service we received from the entire team/all departments. A special thank you to the pool manager Lasean and his team (Vernyl, Michael, James, Francisco, and all) for making our stay so memorable with their attentive and caring service. We experienced a few “hiccups” with our room that were promptly and seamlessly resolved by the manager Jeremy and his team. The food at Ocean Blue and in room dinning was superb, and the in-room dinning team was incredibly professional and warm. We had our senior dog with us, and she was welcomed with a cute amenity box and even she received superb service from the team. Thank you FS Bahamas for another memorable stay, we look forward to our next visit!

The location of the hotel is great -- beautiful beach and infinity pool overlooking the ocean. However for a Four Seasons, our biggest issue was the food. They have two restaurants and room service and we tried all of them. The grouper and jerk chicken entrees were flavorless and dry. The conch chowder from room service was the worst chowder we've ever tasted: it was 100% creme and no conch flavor. It tasted as if they poured creme straight out of the box and sprinkled some dry conch scraps. The caesar salad with grilled chicken was equally bad. Based on their prices and having a Michelin rated chef on staff, I don't know how they could serve this kind of food at a Four Seasons. For breakfast, they have free coffee and pastries in the main bar. The juices were straight out of Mott's plastic containers. No fresh squeezed juices or fruit (bananas, apples, etc.). The coffee was also a machine with capsules. It's the worst Four Season we've visited in terms of food. We also asked for assistance in booking activities at Atlantis for the kids. They gave some basic instructions but we had to walk an hour around the Atlantis property to find the proper registration desk to get our bracelets. They should be more specific in how to use the amenities at Atlantis b/c it's a massive property and with limited lockers. Lastly, they should warn you of the No see ums biting mosquitos. We started to notice bites everywhere after several days.

We chose the Dune Restaurant to celebrate our son’s birthday. The grounds are breathtaking, over looking the ocean. We were greeted and welcomed by the host then shown to our table. We had the pleasure of enjoying an exemplary level of service by Makeisha and Silvaro. Our food was hot and so delicious. Makeisha and Silvaro actions and the way they catered to us was so undeniable that they wanted to ensure our birthday dinning experience would be one to remember. It truly was a dining experience we will reminisce for years to come. Thanks Makeisha and Silvaro for making our night one to remember :))

Great experience here with my husband for our 10th anniversary last week. This was our first all-inclusive resort experience. We loved it! It was such a relaxing week with amazing beach/ocean view, good drinks, excellent service, and delicious food. The only con that I found was I wished they kept the pool area open longer or had evening activities on the pool deck, but I understand this may be due to staffing restrictions. Otherwise, it was amazing!

I loved the Bahamas, the island the culture it was amazing. The Riu was a disappointment. The front desk were really rude at check in. Make sure they put your bracelet on tight enough the first time. They said they gave us a free upgrade, I think it was a downgrade. Shout out to Agatha in service at the buffet she is awesome and Frank in security who was a great help. I wish they had more stuff going on outdoors in the evening. It is so beautiful and warm , who wants to be inside. Also there was an incident and the staff really did not know how to react, it were guests at the resort who took charge and saved a life. The food in the buffet was extremely salty and very dry, not a great selection everything was recycled from the meal before, seafood was lacking. The specialty restaurants, well you reserve and most of the restaurant is empty. We asked if we could get in to the steakhouse and we're told no cancelations, he was very rude, so we went to the Japanese where we were told if they don't show up after 15 mins of their reservation we can be seated, and we were but the food was a let down. We tried all the specialty restaurants, the Krystal was the better of them. I would not go back to a Riu resort

We had a great experience here. The food was so good and the selection was huge for all 3 meals. Desserts were absolutely amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are slightly outdated but who’s even in the room?! People have been working here non stop to paint and fix things as well. They decorated for Halloween and it was so cool. We had a great time!

Food was decent. Almost impossible to get a reservation at any of the restaurants unless you get up super early, but the buffet was great. Service was amazing and everyone was so friendly. The rooms were really outdated and definitely need some TLC. The phone didn’t work. Neither did the safe. The entertainment at night wasn’t the best but sports bar was really fun. Entertainment at the pool was excellent and bartenders were awesome. Beaches were super clean and gorgeous, only steps away from the bar. Drinks were delicious and they had something for everyone. I love how small the resort is because it’s super easy to navigate. Our room had plenty of beer, water and liquor you pour yourself. I normally get an upset stomach when I travel but I was totally fine the whole trip. This Riu is so close to Atlantis too which we went and visited. Would definitely go back again in the future.

I highly Do not recommend resort. I arrived today 10/26/2025 for my birthday celebration, Tori who was very helpful informed me how to reserve dinner reservations. I download the app for every restaurant besides the Buffett with no availability, not for 10/26, the after or the day after that. I wanted to make sure that was accurate which I was informed is. They only allow a certain amount of people per day. So keep that in mind. I was advised to see if the manager Desmond could accommodate me. He told me I needed to come back at 8:30 when there were seats available. So that tells me they accommodate a certain amount of people being that it’s “all inclusive” so keep in mind you might not be able to eat at any restaurant during your stay.. I do not recommend. Pay a little more for Sandals, or Atlantis. Very disheartening on my birthday there’s only buffet food available. Which isn’t that great unfortunately.

The only reason I give this hotel any credit at all is because of Lamaro, the amazing buffet girls, Shanquell, and Eddy — they were the only people who showed us kindness and professionalism during our stay. We were told upon check in that there were no reservations available for any of the restaurants and then ridiculed for not having a reservation when trying to get a place as a walk-in every 30 min as advised. Unfortunately, Kenson and Denisha at the Kulinarium (but they all rotate places) completely ruined my best friend’s birthday with their unprovoked rudeness. All because we wanted more than 1 appetizer each which was encouraged the night before and at every all all inclusive we have ever stayed at. They were so mean that we actually got up and left the restaurant mid-dinner, which says a lot since we had originally chosen to eat at Riu Paradise Island instead of Atlantis because Lamaro made our previous night’s dinner so fun and memorable. She ended her birthday dinner in tears thanks to the lack of manners displayed by Kenson and Denesha and their horrible attitude toward paing guests. Thankfully, Lamaro and the buffet girls went out of their way to sing “Happy Birthday” to my friend the next day, but the damage was already done. We felt so uncomfortable and disrespected that we would never return to this property. To make things worse, our bags weren’t delivered for over an hour after check-in. We called three times and eventually had to go downstairs and get them ourselves. The room service was practically nonexistent — our bed was never made, even though we never put out a “Do Not Disturb” sign, and our room was rarely serviced, not even for fresh towels or bottled water. The bathroom water smelled terrible, like fish or something rotten, coming from both the sink and shower. We’ve stayed at other Riu resorts, including Riu Montego Bay, and the difference in food quality, service, and decor was shocking. Paradise Island was nowhere near that level. The music shows were exceptionally bad, and the entire resort had an unsettling, unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing resort stays we’ve ever experienced, and I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously.

Food on the buffet was excellent. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. The hotel was perfectly placed on the beach that you could look out your window and see the ocean that was the best!! The only thing negative I can say about the hotel is that you'll never get the same drink twice it all depends who makes it on if it's going to be strong or not.

We had the pleasure of indulging in the butler service, and were fortunate enough to have Garth as our butler. His attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our comfort went above and beyond our expectations. Every request was met with promptness and a positive attitude, making our stay truly special. Additionally, we were delighted to experience the culinary offerings at La Plume, where Tara showcased remarkable skill in running the restaurant. Her service was impeccable, and she contributed significantly to our dining enjoyment. I would also like to commend Tayana, Supervisor of the Butler Services, for her outstanding leadership and support. Her commitment to guest satisfaction is evident, and her efforts greatly enhanced our overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Sandals to anyone considering a vacation. If you have not yet visited a Sandals Resort, I encourage you to do so-you owe it to yourself. The staff here truly makes you feel like family. Thank you for providing such a memorable Vacation.

While celebrating our wedding anniversary, we received the most professional butler experience with Kiesha and Nikola during our 5 night stay! They were already ahead of our daily planning when we arrived and ensured we had dinner reservations at all the best restaurants. They also made sure we had great beach and/or poolside seats waiting for us with towels and a cooler full of our favorite beverages every morning! We were checked on in person and by call or text often to address any needs or questions we might have. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and remaining stress free! We also had amazing private drivers, Ricardo and Mark, who transported us from and to the airport. They were funny, knowledgeable, and safe! The bar service, whether on the main land or island, was superb and fast! We never waited longer than 20 seconds for our drinks. Bartenders Gary and Alberto were a couple of our favorites! Thank you Sandals Royal Bahamian for the most amazing time!

This place is incredible. 10/10 highly recommend. Food was amazing. The hotel and views are beautiful. The service was outstanding. The night time entertainment was awesome. The best part though was probably the entire staff. Everyone was so nice and welcoming it was a great experience. My now wife and I had the elopement wedding on the beach and it was everything we dreamed of. Sounds corny but we legit were treated like a King and Queen. We are already planning our next stay here. Book it, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Royal Bahamian for our dream wedding and vacation

What more can we say! We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary and the staff there really made a lasting impression. Our room accommodation really showed out with the beautiful views and upgraded details such as the coffee maker and drink bar. It truly felt like home. Although we don’t consume alcohol the bartenders were very accommodating with alternative options. We were even scheduled a tour of the island that allowed us to see what the culture there was all about. It truly left a huge impression. We have the hotel manager to thank for making sure we were so happy during our stay. She truly warmed our heart, listened to our needs and took action. What a wonderful and beautiful experience!

Fantastic time away. Aaron and Breon had provided excellent service as always, which is why we requested them again as our butlers (this is our second trip to Bahamian). Highly recommend. Great diving, snorkeling on the private island, and amazing food. Hobi cat sailing is always a hit in my book and Leslie is a great diving guide/instructor. Highly recommended.

So I got this place for our honeymoon, um they say they live on island time and let me tell you they do, except for the ferry. At the restaurants it takes over an hour each time to get food except for the buffet. Takes over an hour plus for room service as well and its always cold and terrible. We got the butler service but actually cancelled a day in because it was not worth what we paid. But the rooms are gorgeous, the beds are hard, AC is great, no shower door on the shower. Everything else was great. The view by the ocean was amazing .Wish there was a snack place for like ya know chicken tenders an fries, and chips and ya just like bar food. Will we be back probably not. Most of the employees are really nice and friendly. Some hate there lives in the restaurants and rather be somewhere else but Tayana the manager is amazing we love her she helped us alot🙂 got a massage which was nice but ya know 600$ later🥴 how much we spent wasn't worth it. I'd rather go to Florida and be by the beach.

This resort is a five out of five!!! We got picked up and dropped off by Ricky Ricardo in a Rolls Royce Phantom white seats from the airport. Great ride if you request Ricky you’ll be taken care of very well!!! Butler Service: Ashad, Tim,and Eric were great. When I travel Sandals I will always get the butler service. It made our trip easy delightful, and relaxing the butler service is definitely worth it times 10!!!!!! Food & Drinks: Food and drinks were great. Everything I tasted or drank was great!!

Had an absolutely wondeful time at Breezes when we had a day pass while in Nassau on MSC. We take the "fun" way of getting here - a Kick! scooter, about $13 each way and about 15 minutes. Make sure you memorize the map before getting on the bikes, its fairly easy to get to the resort (just remember to keep going straight/right in the roundabouts once you get out of the downtown core). Check-in for the day pass was easy, just provided my name, ship information, and they gave me a wrist band. You get full access to all the core amenities of the all-inclusive resort; which included unlimited beverages (soda fountain in the buffet + poolside bar), unlimited food (poolside bbq and buffet @ 1230PM), access to lounger chairs, tables, and towels (cabanas can be rented for a fee); wifi, entertainment, and best of all - when the daily 5 minute hurricane shows up, shelter is VERY closeby. Food is very much Bahamian - with the poolside bar offering some of the best jerk chicken (I get this with a caesar salad), my friends LOVE the conch fritters. But you can also just get a cheeseburger and fries. The lunch buffet has a rotating variety of Bahamian dishes - I've seen oxtail, fish, chicken, beef, along with 3 sides of vegetables; a pasta bar; pizza bar; and then salad & desert bar. Wifi has gotten better, and there's plenty of tables near the lobby to sit and work if that's your need, or just enjoy the sea breeze. They are using the slower off-season to finish renovations on the property, and that includes the pool. When I was there in late September, the main pool was closed by the 2 side pools were still open and very much usable. I'm told the main pool should be done the 1st week or so in October (and they need to let everything settle before refilling it).

This was our second trip to Breezes and we really enjoyed ourselves, it is in a beautiful location right on the beach. The sand is white and the sea nice and clear. The rooms are really nice and spacey and the bed is so comfortable. Food is lovely with lots of choice. The staff from reception to our room maid were all lovely and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and we very much look forward to visiting the resort again. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Great food at the buffet. The good at the grill was good as well. The beach access was beautiful. Soft sand. Security on the beach, lifeguard close by. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Our waiter who was attending to us at the beach chairs was terrible, but I did not mind going to the make shift bar to grab our drinks. The pools were beautiful and we made use of those and the pool bar as well. For our one day stay I would say if it is an option for you, do it.

Sure the place is a little outdated, but it is not dirty or uninhabitable. It is the oldest hotel on the island and used to be called the Playboy hotel. The staff was beyond nice and accommodating. Every Bahamian person we interacted with was amazing. Derrick, one of the taxi drivers was a huge help when I accidentally left my wedding dress at the airport, and another taxi driver named Phillip was so informative and even gave us a tour out if our way at no extra cost. The food was amazing, the hotel and pools were clean, and the beach was beautiful. We had our wedding through Breezes on the beach and everything was perfect. We will definitely use them again in the future. We had 18 people in total and everyone had an amazing time . They also had two very friendly resort cats, which was adorable.

Beautiful resort, right on the beach, wonderfully landscaped, very good planning To the grounds and the structure for guests. Love the layout of the pools and the grounds. Staff was really phenomenally friendly and extremely helpful, sweet, and wonderful. Food was delicious most nights and especially Belgian waffles, you make yourself for breakfast. Many buffet options with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Cannot attest to the stay as a resident but came here on a day pass and the resort was lovely, especially the beach!! It is an older building but beautiful and has a lot of charm! The swim up bar and pool area were amazing, along with the beach bar crew!!! I did speak to a group who were staying there and they said it was nice, and that they have enjoyed their time! Thank you Breezes family (Lathies, Jadynn, Elizabeth, Wendario, Shervaughn, and Debroncya)!!!!

The entire hospitality team at Breezes did an excellent job. The resort is obviously older (30 years), but all of the important details were top notch. Customer service, cleanliness, guest safety, and food were all excellent.

I recently stayed at Warwick Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas, and overall, it was an amazing experience! The food and drinks were a solid 10/10—fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying. The staff truly made the trip unforgettable: Brian, the bartender, kept the drinks flowing and made sure everyone was having a great time. Letice greeted me with a smile every morning while making my omelets just the way I liked them. Kizzy welcomed us from the moment we walked through the door and kept the energy high with music and his fun, outgoing personality. Kendrick made sure we never went without a mimosa or drink during breakfast and lunch, always serving with a smile. Mr. Ian Cash went above and beyond, even making sure to sign us up for Sip & Paint while we were still enjoying dinner. As a travel agent, I brought guests along with me, and they had such a good time that they’ve already asked me to book another trip back here in February—which says it all! While the pool was under construction, the resort made up for it by offering complimentary shuttle service to beautiful Cabbage Beach, which was a great alternative. The only downside was noticing some rust in the room, but other than that, the experience was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning soon and can’t wait to bring more guests to enjoy this resort!

I stayed here for a week. And I loved it.. we held a conference for 25 women. The staff was super helpful and professional. The all inclusive was great, they had daily activities. The food was AMAZING. Fresh, fish, steak amazing breakfast everyday. SEASONED well. The pools were great. The ground are on the small side but have everything you need. 10/10 would stay here again. Only downsides I would say: the rooms are average, the lobby is also average. But the pool, restaurants & outdoor spaces are amazing.

A nice all inclusive hotel on Paradise Island. Nice staff and spacious rooms. A bit dated, but ok. Big nice pool area and a private beach. The food is really good. Large selection of well cooked food in the buffet restaurant. Nice pool/beach bar with cocktails and drinks. 10-15 min walk to fantastic Cabbage Beach.

Currently staying here at present and cannot fault the resort one bit. It’s amazing staff are so friendly and also smiling happy to help and nothing is too much trouble. Bar staff happy to bring drinks to me constantly during the day which I loved (who wouldn’t 🤣) rooms were to a good standard for us and looking at other reviews I don’t know what they are looking because I could not fault the cleanliness of our room. Overall a lovely holiday and definitely be back again in the future.

I am sharing my positive experience from my stay May 20-23, 2025. Your resort is beautiful and peaceful, and the staff were amazing and friendly. My room was clean and spacious, and I enjoyed the pool and lagoon. The bar service was excellent. The music was great, and we enjoyed karaoke, though we wished it lasted longer. My only concerns were the mildew smell in the hallway and occasionally in my room, which room spray helped with. I also suggest more night life entertainment options. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I highly recommend your resort. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Overall great hotel and staff was very friendly. However the activities were limited. Came on a girls trips so we’re looking for something fun and the nightlife was not all that great. We did go off the resort and found other things to do. So if that’s something you’re looking for just keep that in mind. The hotel itself definitely has a relaxing feel and beautiful scenery.

The Bahamas is completely beautiful I will be coming to this island again but never ever coming to the Warwick and I don’t recommend this resort to anyone! I have been traveling to many all-inclusive resorts for the past 15 years and this was a trip from hell. The liquor is so disgusting it will make you sick disoriented and you might even faint my husband and my brother, both fainted and collapsed. I thought they were going to die in this resort the food and the restaurants are so disgusting the water in the sink showers and tap sodas, smell like sewer. The resort has nothing to offer. It is very small. The staff is rude. Every bartender is nasty. nobody has a smile on their face. Nobody wants to make the trip fun for you. The bartenders are not fun at all and all I can say is this resort is a very dangerous scary spooky negative spirited Establishment that is taking advantage of customers and taking advantage of people’s health blindly. I don’t know what they do to stretch the liquor it smelled like poison. It smells like gas. I had a sick stomach the whole trip for my 30th birthday and I am expecting a contact back from management about all of this

We came for the first time back in 2022 to the Rosewood. That experience was absolutely amazing. They upgraded our room upon arrival and gave us early check-in. We came for the second time and did not have luck this time with any upgrades or early check in which was unfortunate. Still was a great trip and every restaurant we went to such as Marcus, Costa and carna was absolutely delicious. The resort fees and service charges that they add onto every bill is really high. Definitely an expensive trip. I did have a few slight issue with my room this time… There was never any hot water, just lukewarm water in the shower. The couch in the room is stained and dirty. One side of the bed had a dent in it from much wear and tear. The furniture on the balcony was very mildewy and dirty. In the bathroom, there is nowhere to put your toiletries- just two sinks…. no counter space whatsoever. I think to pay what you pay for the Rosewood and have those issues occur, shouldn’t be.

The rosewood is an exceptional place to stay! This was my second visit this year. The staff are all so sweet! From the staff that meet you at the car like Robin and all of the lovely staff that greet you at the front desk like Nikita and Crystal, each individual staff member makes you feel like you are family. The service is beyond excellent and worth every single penny. The food is amazing at every place you eat, the pool staff like D'Angelo, DJ, Brendan, Manny, Dominic, Sidney, are all amazing I wish I could name them all. It's the only place in Bahamas I could ever think of staying. Highly recommend it to anyone booking!

If you’re ever considering visiting Baha Mar I would highly recommend to stay at the rosewood rather than the 2 other neighbouring properties, it’s expensive, but well worth the extra costs. Compared with the SLS and grand Hyatt which are all technically 5 star also, the Rosewood was the only one that really lives up to this label. We just visited for a 4 night stay, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the hotel and service. The resort ground and rooms were all beautifully decorated and made it feel like a holiday destination. But what really stood out to us was the hospitality and friendly staff, all whom were exceptionally nice and helpful especially compared with the subpar and frankly disappointing service at the neighbouring Grand Hyatt. The staff at Rosewood were all super attentive; After we requested extra towels during the first night, housekeeping provided extra towels every subsequent night without us having to ask again. The staff was also able to extend our checkout time to 3pm to accommodate an activity we had in the morning at no charge, a generous and very much appreciated gesture. We have to give a special thank you to Kenzie who helped us locate our travel document after we left in the room and bringing it to us at airport all within 30 mins after calling. All this made us feel like the staff genuinely cared about our needs and trying to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.

The Rosewood Baha Mar is nothing short of absolutely gorgeous. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the impeccable rooms and breathtaking views. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the outstanding 5-star service we received throughout our stay. Every interaction was seamless and delightful, making us feel genuinely cared for. Beyond the luxurious accommodations, there's an incredible amount to explore and enjoy on the property. We had a truly wonderful time and would wholeheartedly recommend the Rosewood Baha Mar to anyone planning a visit to The Bahamas.

This was our second time staying at the sprawling Baha Mar complex this year. Our previous stay was at the Grand Hyatt. We had a mixed review of our stay there but loved the activities at Baha Mar and decided to see if Rosewood would enhance our experience. Unfortunately I would say despite being almost double or even triple the cost I would say our stay was not much better. The good: the grounds are beautiful. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The privacy of the pools and beach make it much easier to enjoy although with little kids we didn’t get to enjoy this much due to the fact that our littles preferred to stay nonstop at the water park. The bad: Service left a lot to be desired. Our room was not serviced the first day. Not a big deal, all we needed was just some fresh towels. I called the front desk for help with a response, waited about thirty minutes without anything. Walked to the front desk with dirty towels hoping to exchange them and was told they were working on it and asked me ti return to the room. Okay, sure. Went back to the room and my wife decided to call laundry and we finally got our towels an hour later. Honestly it would have been easier to just have walked me to a service room to get those towels and I would have been okay with this but the front desk was not helpful. Service at the pool was a bit mixed as well. We were able to get covers for our chairs but then the attendant again forgot to bring us towels. I ended up taking some from the cabanas. It seems most individuals working here seem to be bothered by providing help or assistance. Based on this experience I would suggest not spending the amount of money to stay here.

We took our annual mother/ daughter trip and I want to start off by saying I lost my Chanel glasses. CHAVON was excellent and very attentive he found them and held them safely until the next day. He was very sweet and went above and beyond. Lastly, My mother and I had breakfast at the rose wood the food was good however the service was kind of slow. We ended up seeing how beautiful and quiet the pool was so we decided to get in. Within 10 mins we were asked to leave because we aren’t rosewood guests. We felt it was also very rude that one of the attendants told us to get our own towel while he rushed over to other guests. It gives very much plantation vibes. So we can eat your food and spend money in your bars but not quietly enjoy your pool?

The Rosewood was a blast! The resort was beautiful and the layout of the casino and restaurant complex below flowed smoothly with the rest of the hotel. The outdoor pools were very serene, and the service was great. There were many options for dinner. Only disappointment was the beach, but otherwise was a great stay

Absolutely extraordinary location! Stunning views!!! Our room was beautifully appointed with furnishings and Top notch bedding. Beautiful landscaping. Comfy new beach chairs that were always available for us with towels waiting. We had a great Massage, (the spa is very small). Sunset happy hour was a beautiful way to end our afternoon with live music. Great bartenders, great attentive. A must every afternoon!! It’s really sad. I wanted to come back to this place from the moment we arrived. BUT….We are foodies living in South West Florida and are accustomed to exquisite cuisine in every direction we turn. When we travel, we expect the same without exception. Breakfast and lunch were good. Normal selection with Omelettes, burgers, fries, fish tacos and salads. Nothing spectacular. Sushi was just OK. Fish not the freshest. Our let down was dinner. It’s as if the chef is trying way TOO hard to impress, the sauces fought with the meat or fish. Really don’t care for the entrees. Crispy cauliflower, Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes were delicious. We spoke with other guests that felt the same. Front desk needs to work on communication skills and protocols with guidelines, so everyone’s on the same page. Nick and Sally took over in November and are making a lot of positive changes. We wish them luck and hope that they can work on the Food along with the many other things they are improving to make The Cove the perfect destination vacation. Sadly, we will not return just because of the food.

We had a wonderful experience staying at The Cove. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The services—whether at the bar, on the beach, or at the Freedom Restaurant & Sushi Bar—were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the local excursions and dining at nearby restaurants recommended by the staff. While the airport terminal could use some improvement, overall, we're very glad we made the trip. It was the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy some quiet time.

We just returned very rested and recharged from the most magical family trip to The Cove at Eleuthera in the Bahamas. It honestly felt like we had landed on another planet - called Paradise - one where time slows down, no one’s in a rush, and everything is insanely beautiful. The resort was so peaceful, so private, and so naturally stunning. The turquoise water, the white sand, the swaying palms, the sunsets, the private swimming coves, the snorkeling, the ocean hammocks, the live music, the delicious sushi, the infinity pool... it didn’t even feel real. Like living inside a dream you don’t want to wake up from! The food was incredible (we’re still talking about the sushi and island cocktails), but what really made it special was the amazing team—so warm, kind, and thoughtful. You could feel the heart in everything they did. They all knew our names and we all knew their names, even though it was only a four night stay. My daughter even said it was the best vacation we’ve ever taken—and that’s saying a lot. We’ve been to Hawaii, Europe, and beyond, but there was just something about The Cove that felt sacred. Like we were exactly where we were meant to be. Already missing it...

I would give this place 6 Stars if there was another one to give. I am well traveled, and this was the most exclusive/unique experiences that I have come across when staying at a Resort. There's plenty to do, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is excellent, and not overpriced when compared to other resorts. The views are incredible and the layout is what makes this place so unique. Will be back soon!

Beautiful hotel rooms grounds beach ocean water and view It is unfortunate that the servce does not match the beautiful hotel I must say that both staff members Nicole and Tesserol both provided fantastic service, know how to solve issues and expressed genuine concern with keeping there customers happy The rest of the staff for the most part was friendly. The check in process was horrid, food/beverage service was not offered at the beach, and a response to most request were not handled with any sense of urgency You would expect a hotel at this price point to have ample staffing and be properly trained in handling customers

We did not stay at the resort, but went once for lunch (you need to book, they do not accept walk ins). Really beautiful view, nice food and drinks and great service. Recommended!

I can’t speak on the rooms as I am local. I can speak on the service and dinning. The service is disorganized from the first call to the property to trying to book a diner reservation. Which as of late they have been trying to get locals and outsiders to the resort to come and spend money. They are not doing a good and inviting job. As in my most recent attempts to have dinner it took over 3 hours. I ended up passing as it felt they had very little compassion to my hours of attempting to make a reservation. I have had the food and it’s good. Not great. Presentation for the price they charge is a C- The Cove in my opinion is good for a once go, novel experience with a pass on returning.

Had a very nice time a few years back and wanted to go back next year but NO way now. Way to take away the peace and tranquility and privacy of that beautiful cove. If that Beaches is anything like the one on Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos . . . . . it’s going to be crowded, cluttered, noisy and a complete cluster!

This resort is beautiful. We arrived soon to the resort closing (4 days left). It was to our advantage. Unfortunately, not all of the restaurants were open every night. That was the only drawback. The ocean views, white sand, and having the pool to ourselves was nice. I think there were more workers there than guests. It was a trip of a lifetime. Exuma is beautiful. We booked the swim with pigs tour thru the tour agency. It was well worth the money. We would love to come back as soon as they reopen. I wished there were more lunch options, and a nice steak restaurant. It was beautiful. All of the resort workers were so nice as well.

I stayed here several years ago. The rooms looked nothing like they did online and were actually quite crusty and more like a 2 star motel, you can see this through the pictures posted on the reviews. Cheap free alcohol was available in the room but I never touched it given that it was from an open bottle with a dispenser. The beaches were awesome. The service was OK. I did not like seeing the cat near the kitchen or a cook coming out of the kitchen drinking for a mixing bowl. The open bar was terrible And I don't think they could make a single drink right. This place was not cheap, although on the website it looks like you're getting an incredible deal. look at all the negative reviews before you breathe the Positive ones.

Although it's been awhile, this was the first Sandals we went to and after going to almost all of them, it's still our favorite. Gonna miss it as a Sandals Resort but may still come visit as a Beaches. We shall see.

Overall rating 3/5! Room (we stayed in a suite): 3/5 Rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff are amazing but the rooms could use a little TLC. The room smelled musty upon arrival )but being on the ocean, there is a lot of moisture). The bedside lamps, base of the coffee table and corner lamp all had rust spots. The fridge that was in the bar area was sitting on a warped shelf in an enclosed cabinet that appeared to have some back spots on it? Not something you’d expect at the week long price point for sure. Food: 2.5/5 It is standard American fare? Lots of choices, restaurant wise, and maybe I didn’t pick their best dishes from the restaurants I tried?! All that being said, the food was just okay. Two recommendations: The sushi spot was incredible and Dino’s pizza really hit the spot during our poolside days. Great service from everyone working at the restaurants though! Grounds: 5/5 Gorgeous! Beach: 5/5 One of the most incredible beaches I’ve ever seen. Golf: 5/5 The back nine is right on the ocean and is breath taking!! Staff: 5/5 shout out to Tevon, Kimerly, Garth, Janell, Nicole, Mikalya, Theresa, Freddy and Devonte! Cats: 5/5 (If you know, you know) Butler Service: This is hard to rate because I feel like we didn’t utilize them as much as we could have? We filled out our preference sheet with what we wanted in the room and that didn’t happen unfortunately. No big deal so we requested the items we needed along the way. I don’t think we’d spend the extra money in the future, should we return to a Sandals resort. Red Lane Spa: 5/5 Pools: 5/5 Overall this was an incredible experience. Yes I wasn’t blown away from everything while on vacation but who really is?! This was our first time going to an all inclusive so we weren’t really sure what to expect? The drinks were delicious, the staff were awesome and it was fun to get to know others that were staying at the resort, too. I hope this review helps! Oh and p.s., half of our plane didn’t get our luggage when we landed on Sunday (and we didn’t receive it until Wednesday). It sounds like this is a common theme when flying in? I suggest putting a couple days worth of clothes in your carry on to hold you over, should this happen to you :)

Our honeymoon at sandals emerald bay was perfect from the minute we arrived to departure. Short drive from the airport. On arrival staffed greeted us and we were quickly situated eating lunch and on the beach. The beach is large and beautiful. Not sandals fault but lots of trash on the beach - throughout the day staff was cleaning up. The grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. Every staff member was wonderful always happy and helpful doing whatever they could to help. One staff member even opened a coconut for me! Our meals were great we enjoyed all of our food and had no complaints. I especially enjoyed the cafe you could always get a coffee or little dessert! Our room was spacious and clean beach house 6! For our honeymoon it was great if you wanted to do activities you could but a lot of space to sit back and relax. I would recommend sandals emerald bay to anyone!

I can’t begin to tell you what a great time we had at Sandals Emerald Bay. We arrived at the airport and were greeted by a well organized team getting everyone loaded into taxis for the short ride to the resort. There we were greeted by staff and taken to a lounge where we were given champagne while we waited for our room. Everyone was escorted to their rooms were we received an overview of the resort. Our room was large and clean. It was cleaned daily and there was a turndown service. Our fridge was restocked daily as well. The food was fantastic. Every restaurant was different and the service was great. Our favorite was the French restaurant, but each one was fantastic. We went to the quiet pool and hot tub every day. Very relaxing. The best thing, by far, was the golf. I have never played a course that was in such perfect shape. You simply walk out the front door of the resort and you are at the pro shop. No need for a shuttle ride. The fairways were lush and the greens rolled true. The back nine is right on the coast with great views. We got some great action shots of us golfing with huge waves crashing in the background. It is a challenging course and you should bring plenty of balls as there is plenty of water. I can’t say enough about the course. Our departure was just as easy as our arrival. They picked up our bags at our rooms and were very organized getting us to the airport. We are already saving for our next trip to this fantastic resort.

Perfect place to just breathe. Fred was a super host. Just made me feel at home. The entire staff was very friendly. Everyone there made the stay so memorable. The food…WOW! I tried several things I have never eaten, and it was just delicious. Jon was such a sweet guy. His smile made every meal just that much better. I look forward to our next visit. Fred promised to have the baby Seadoo water ready!

This was probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever taken, both because of the property's setting and seclusion and the level of personal service received from staff. The dining, cocktails and wine were among the best I've experienced at a resort. The rooms were well appointed and the common areas well maintained. The service was top-notch.

What a beautiful and tranquil boutique hotel tucked into nature and far away from noise and lights. It was an adventure to get here and 100% worth it. The accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is scenic and serene. We ate when we wanted, drank when we wanted, did activities when we wanted and relaxed and reconnected with our family. The staff was attentive yet respectful of our "alone time ". Our only regret is not staying longer. This is a purposely hidden gem not to be missed. We plan to make this a yearly vacation plan.

Add in some of the best nature you might ever experience - stunning blue waters, sunsets, dolphins, sharks, rays, turtles, fish and more - and Tiamo should be your next (hidden) getaway. Go for the world class fishing, snorkeling, or beach and stay for the fantastic hospitality and service. We just spent a week at Tiamo and can’t get back to Tiamo soon enough!

Our stay at Tiamo was very special and was the perfect place to experience nature, luxury, and relaxation. It is pristinely maintained and efficiently run by the staff. Of note is the food. Chef Rolle never serves the same dish twice or the same way. The presentation is as sensational as the food itself. Each meal is served with a beachfront view that consistently impresses with its beauty. While you are enjoying your breakfast and dinner, housekeeping is sure that your bed linens are crisp and tightly tucked and clean towels are provided. If your villa has a pool, each morning and evening it is cleaned and towels are set out and ready for you to enjoy the sun. Wilfred, the general manager is always around to be sure things are running smoothly and works tirelessly to ensure his guests' are happy and well cared for. We booked our stay during Covid so most of the resort amenities and activities were unavailable. We were not made aware of this so this was a disappointment upon arrival. For me, the absence of a float was most disappointing since the waters were a bit too cold for me to fully commit and the waters are so inviting. The island has several resident creatures which we enjoyed watching and observing on our daily coming and goings. If you are seeking a vacation that allows complete stillness, quiet, and great service, this is the place. We will absolutely be returning and hope that this small treasure of an island stays off the well trodden path so that its solitude and impression of having discovered an unknown place remains.

This is a substandard resort. Run down facility. Terrible service in the restaurants - servers don’t pay attention to your order. Towel service at pool sporadic. You wait for eternity to have them serve you. Room is shabby and run down. Other than the heavenly pink sand beach nothing to write home about. I’m sitting in the porch but fan is broken. This place needs a complete remodel. Not with the price I paid per night. Food prices are outrageous. Expect to spend 70-80 bucks for breakfast or lunch. Dinner is 150 a person and this is across the island. Have yet to have a decent meal. I had dinner at Thaid staff seemed overloaded worst Thai food ever.

The beach is outstanding. Looks like a desktop screensaver. The colors are almost unbelievable. The resort itself is nice but needs a bit of love. We stayed in Cole Point North and it had a good view but was not as secluded or as private as we would have liked. It was one building split in two so we could hear the people next door at times. The room itself was in pretty good shape, AC worked, there was an empty mini fridge, and water waiting for us. There are free roaming chickens and roosters on the property, which we loved and found endlessly entertaining. Just be warned that if you’re a light sleeper you’ll be up early, the roosters are up and at ‘em in the morning. I would recommend immediately renting a Golf Cart as eating on the resort was pricier than expected and just…ok. The island itself is so charming and colorful. It’s worth driving around and taking it all in. The locals are friendly and kind and helped us multiple times when we were struggling with our golf cart. We had a couple issues checking out. There was a charge to our room that did not belong on the bill. No one came to pick us up when we had to leave eventhough we had called the day before to confirm a time for this. We had also requested a transfer to the airport a day in advance and found out while finalizing the bill that we didn’t have one. Regardless, it was resolved quickly and we made it on time. The airport is a whole other situation. Be prepared for the chaos and show up 2 hours in advance. TLDR: Overall, a good experience. If you love the beach and are ok with a simpler resort experience, this is a good option for you, just make sure to get a golf cart. The Pink Sands beach really is incredible.

Wow! What a fantastic overall experience! This resort is truly the best of the best on harbor island. What really made our stay magical was the food, staff, and best pina coladas we’ve ever had. Big thanks to managers Deeandree, Raju, Katrina, Chef Carlos, and of course Armani, Keno and Yaz. Could not suggest this resort highly enough. As southerners, they really understand the true meaning of hospitality. The location is unbeatable, on the most beautiful stretch of the beach with a pool to match.

We have been returning to Pink Sands for years now—enough years that the particular shade of coral in the walls has become, for us, a kind of Proustian trigger for something elusive: the feeling of arriving somewhere that knew how to leave you alone while still taking care of you. On our last visit, we found the refurbishment. Fresh paint, new linens, staff trained in that contemporary hospitality school manner—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about wine pairings, capable of answering questions about thread counts. All admirable. All correct. And yet. There is a quality that places possess when they have evolved organically from their own soil, their own people, their own particular history. Pink Sands had this—a Bahamian soul, if you will. The kind of warmth that cannot be taught in a training seminar. The kind of charm that comes from generations of knowing how to welcome strangers the Bahamian way. We sense this slipping away. Not gone, not yet. But fading, like paint in the salt air. The danger, of course, is homogenization. That creeping Floridian sensibility, that Nassau-style sensation-seeking, threatens every beautiful place that makes the mistake of being discovered. Pink Sands could so easily become another interchangeable luxury resort—pristine, five-star, utterly forgettable beach. The kind of place that exists everywhere and therefore nowhere. That would be the real loss. Not the old furniture or the slightly shabby bar or the staff who knew your name without checking a computer. The loss would be of something ineffable: the sense that you had arrived somewhere that could only be itself and nowhere else. Let us hope the management understands what they have. Glory, after all, is not found in marble lobbies and infinity pools. It resides in the specific, the local, the irreplaceable. We will return. One always does. But we will be watching, as one watches all things one loves, for signs of what is being preserved and what, despite everyone’s best intentions, is being allowed to disappear.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

One of the prettiest beaches in the world. The location and service was great. Here is the rub: Not all villas are equal, some are new and some are worn and torn and not “5 star” This will sound really picky, but I think a five star hotel should have mattress protectors with a mattress pad and nice linens. The bedding is very “Hampton Inn” If we return, I will ensure we get a new villa. (We were in “Inagua” a 2 bedroom)

The resort came highly recommended so we decided to book our 25th anniversary celebration here…to say it has been the most memorable and amazing experience is an understatement. From the beginning pink sands resort assisted with transportation from the airport along with transportation while staying on the island. Checking in was simple and our room was ready and prepared as requested. Unfortunately due to the season many places were closed as its was the off season (I know this is the best time for families to spend and vacation prior to the peak season). We chartered a ride with Da Salty Pigs (highly recommend) provided a wealth of knowledge of the local culture as well as historical facts. We encountered moments of breathtaking views, food and wonderful employees that were so genuine and provide insight of island life. Must sees are Malcom 51 for the amazing dinner options (you won’t be disappointed) the food and employees are wonderful. If you’re looking for the perfect breakfast or lunch, a must try is Blu Bar. You will love all their options.. Shout out to Ms. Mauvie, Yaz, Katrina, I apologize I am definitely forgetting the names of others that have made our stay ….PERFECT! We will be back because of the wonderful people we met. Thank you for making our 25th anniversary the best yet! #IslandLife❤️

For a resort that charges premium rates, I expected a much more enjoyable and fair experience when it comes to using the amenities—especially the pool. Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to find a pool chair during the day because guests “reserve” them by placing towels down early in the morning and then disappear for hours. At one point, nearly every chair had a towel or item saving it, yet there were barely any people actually in the pool area. It’s frustrating to be on vacation, ready to relax, and find that everything is taken by invisible guests who seem to claim chairs and then go back to bed. There should absolutely be a policy in place to prevent this kind of behavior—at the very least, a time limit for unattended items or staff oversight. For the amount paid to stay here, guests should be able to actually use the amenities. Until that changes, I can’t say the experience lives up to the price.

I’ve stayed here twice before, and I have to say, it’s a really nice hotel. The lobby is beautiful, and they have a bar that serves drinks and food. In the evenings, they hire a very talented singer who creates such a lovely atmosphere—it really adds to the experience. The hotel has two buildings. The main check-in building has nice rooms with balconies and ocean views. There’s no microwave in these rooms, but housekeeping is very friendly and helpful. The other building is a little pricier, but it’s more secure—you have to swipe your key tag to enter the building and to use the elevator. If you book a suite in this building, it’s absolutely stunning. The suite is spacious with a full kitchen, a dining table, a bedroom with its own door, and two sliding glass doors that open to the balcony—one from the living room and one from the bedroom. The on-site steakhouse is worth checking out. It’s a bit pricey, but the food is outstanding. I also want to give a special shout-out to Marcus at guest services. He provided exceptional service from start to finish. I’m not sure of his exact role at the front desk, but he’s a perfect example of Margaritaville hospitality and definitely deserves a promotion. I’ll be back for a third stay for sure!

Location is great honestly you could walk to almost everything needed. Service is good as far as staff everyone is super friendly and nice, they really do go above and beyond for you. Mybfridge didn’t work for three of the five days I was there, room had a moldy smell, I’m assuming just from lack of vents in the restrooms where the shower is and the amount of ppl who used the room from coming in and being wet from beach/pool there’s carpet there. Food on the premises isn’t good at all very overpriced and tip already included makes everything way over priced. I would say the daily fees of $100 per person is unnecessary if ur not gonna use the fins up watermark which we didn’t ever use it. They also charge ur card $800 when u check in which I didn’t see it state that anywhere on the website. So pretty much u pay what u pay when u book it online plus the extra $1000+ fees due at check in. They say you get it back but end up charging it all to ur card after u leave. Personally not worth it, u can stay at a hotel for cheaper you don’t need the restaurants and water park. I will give it a 6/10 if I had to rate it! I’d like to say again the staff is top tier every single one of them! We only had one bad experience with Frank and Lola’s staff two ladies and one gentleman were super rude. Very unlike everyone else at the resort.

Best location in Nassau. In the heart of downtown close to local resturants and shops. Good service. The staff are very pleasant. The lobby bar Desenzo and Kristian and TT were amazing, friendly and make you feel like you've known them for a long time. Also, Lakeisha by the beach was amazing, upbeat, full of energy and always a big smile and helpfull. Amazing 7 days at Margaritaville Nassau resort, we will beck for sure and I highly recommend it.

Wonderful experience. I stayed for two nights in summer. Resort is safe and at very convenient location. It has nice restaurants , coffee shop and gift store inside the resort premise. Water park is very good. Property is just by the beach so don’t need to walk or drive anywhere. And very friendly staff. It was good quick getaway and stay in walkable distance to town. I booked it through Costco Travels and when I reached at the hotel they provided me a free upgrade to the next tower called “One Pointe” which was actually an apartment with living room, kitchen, separate bathroom and washer dryer.

Unfortunately the room let the whole hotel experience down. The facilities are amazing and the location. The staff at the food and beverage areas are great. Reception and managers here are disappointing. We are only for 3 nights from Australia and expecting great things. We arrived early before 11am after flying. We were asked to pay US$50 for access to the room early so we could have a shower, to find the shower only had scolding hot water. At 4.30pm and 3 visits and chats with managers it was still not fixed. We were told again that an engineer would be up to fix it, which was the same thing we were told 5 hrs earlier. We were only moved after I really complained since we have kids and we were all dripping wet after being in the pool and desperate for our shower. No upgrades, and were only moved to the same type of room after complaining.

If you have kids between ages 5-10 and like hotdogs this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a more upscale experience for adults - I would not recommend. This is a “waterpark” with a hotel. Music playing all hours of the day made it fun, not relaxing. Additionally, they were not accommodating at all when our flights were delayed two days due to tropical storm. After confirming they would hold our reservation until we could get there two days late. They indeed did not hold our rooms. Also we were not offered the complimentary beverage on arrival that is stated on their website. There was also construction happening a few rooms down from us that made it impossible to take a nap during the day. (if you have young children you understand how important this is) One of the sinks in the room did not work Water condensation from the air vent was dripping Into the room making the tile floors wet. My friend and I booked a day pass to this resort through Resort Pass. This is our third time staying at this property in the past two years. We have always had great experiences; however, today, we had a situation occur that I am sure management does not approve of, so I wanted to bring it to your attention. There was a group of three adults who walked over from the non-resort side. They tried to take some chairs without paying for them. I brought it to the attention of one of your employees. The employee told the group that he would keep quiet if they gave him $20. I explained to your employee that it isn't fair for those of us who paid upwards of $100 to enjoy the resort side of the beach. The employee responded by telling me that I should learn how to work the system. Additionally, I ordered one drink and a side of fries from an employee named "Baby". She charged me $18 for a frozen margarita, $5 for a processing fee, $6 for fries (even though they were advertised for $5), and I gave her $4 for a tip. Altogether, it cost me $33 for a drink and fries. Baby came back and told me the credit card machine wasn't working and she needed cash. She told me to go to the ATM. When I refused, she ran my card again, and lo and behold, it worked. The entire transaction seemed rather fishy to me. As I said, this isn't our first time at this resort; however, it is the first time we have had a bad experience.

**One Star Review for Islandhouse Cinema** I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Islandhouse Cinema tonight, especially since it was my husband's birthday. We were really looking forward to celebrating by watching the Bob Dylan movie, having booked our tickets online and received a confirmation. When we arrived at the cinema, there was no staff present, and we, along with eight other guests, waited patiently for the movie to start. As time passed and the film didn’t begin, one of the guests went to find out what was happening. We were then informed that there had been a mistake and the cinema was closed for the night—no viewing was taking place. The way this situation was handled was unacceptable. We requested to speak with a manager, but no one came to address our concerns, leaving us all frustrated and disappointed. This experience was a huge letdown, and I cannot recommend Islandhouse Cinema based on how poorly the situation was managed. Based on online reviews, it appears that this isn't the first occurrence of such an issue at this cinema.

The staff are the most elite service team. Dee is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Kira went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and all my needs were met. Fred at the beach did his work with such pride and humility and is a gracious soul. All the staff at Yellow Bell, the drivers that took me to and from nearby destinations. I appreciate them making this experience palatable because the management needs a lesson in communication and emotional intelligence. I had an unfortunate experience staying at this boutique hotel. I booked a weekend getaway and decided to try this hotel rather than the larger resort I normally do. I had the most unpleasant experience and if I could give the management of this property zero stars, I would. I blog as a hobby, and I decided I would blog about my trip and highlight this smaller boutique hotel. This would require photographs. I sought out one of the most sought-after professional photographers on the island and booked him. He advised me to clear with the hotel that we would be able to take photos. For context, I have shot photographs for my blog at exclusive resorts, including membership resorts such as The Boca Raton, The Faena, The Rosewood Bermuda, and The Standard. As a guest, I did not need permission at these resorts to have a photographer take professional photos on the property as long as the other guests were not interrupted. I contacted Island House a week in advance by telephone several times to work out the logistics and create a contingency plan if I was not able to take photographs. The staff was lovely and very professional, advising me this request would be escalated to the events manager, and I would be contacted. I never received a telephone call. I checked the website to see if there was information regarding photography and there was no mention of photography guidelines. The night before I traveled to the island, I got an email apologizing for the inconvenience and saying that there was no fee to shoot in my room but a fee to shoot on the property. I told them the fee was not an issue, and I would pay the fee. I confirmed the photoshoot on arrival at the hotel. I presented the email that I received. I was advised that my credit card would be charged the extra fee, and I was good to go. The day of the photo shoot became a nightmare. My team arrived and were escorted to my room. If you know anything about the creative process, the energy of the team and environment are the catalysts for the images. My team and I decided that we would stop shooting to let guests walk past, that we would avoid shooting in areas with guests, and that we would be as quiet as possible. Halfway through my first segment of the photo shoot, a British lady with short, curly hair runs toward us, yelling, who told us we could not shoot. No greeting, not finding out who we were or if any of us were guests. My team stopped shooting immediately. Then she proceeds, saying who authorized this you cannot shoot. I have no idea her name and she clearly does not know that I am a guest. I advised her that I was a guest, and she proceeded to raise her voice and demand my name. I told her my name and pronounced it for her. She never provided her name or role so she could be anyone or no one. The photographer had already done test shots prior to us starting the photo shoot to make sure we did not capture any person or thing other than myself and scenery. The nearest guest to us was 50 feet away behind us at the pool. This changed the entire mood for our photoshoot and this employee was unprofessional. This is unacceptable colonial behavior. She never returned to apologize to the team and me for her savage behavior. It is unfortunate because the staff made up of Bahamian nationals are truly gems and make the resort what it is. Bahamians are some of the best people in the world.

We had a short family vacation to this wonderful hidden gem, and we were incredibly satisfied with our stay. The property itself is serene, lush, and beautiful in every way. The rooms are incredibly clean, spacious, and designed in a highly luxurious way. They spared no expense building this place and it shows. Before I get to a quick pros and cons, I want to shout out some special people who helped make our stay as enjoyable as possible, each of them showing my family and I incredible warmth, hospitality, and care: -the bellmen, D and Kaleb -the hotel pool host, Thorn -the beach hosts, Lawson and Marco -the concierge, Kera -our waiter at Shima, Kevin -the manager of the hotel, whose name unfortunately slips my mind All of the above, and others, treated us with impeccable care, warmth, and joy. We are very lucky to have met all of you. Honestly there are no cons at this place. It's all pros: the beach, the rooms, the pool, the facilities, the property itself, and most of all the people. Our favorite restaurant was Shima, but the real gem for us was the island pizza place where our family had some awesome meals of incredibly good wood-fired pizza (better than anything I've had back home) which is nestled in a lush green patio space. The weather was great while we were there. The beach has incredibly clean, manicured sand and the waves were flowing beautifully. All-in-all, a true 5-star experience. I won't go saying it is high value for the cost, but I will undoubtedly say one gets their moneys worth here. Thanks again to all the wonderful staff!

I had the pleasure of staying at Island House for 7 days, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in the Bahamas, this small, cozy retreat exudes tranquility. The fellow guests, mostly British, added to the charming atmosphere. While there are a few good restaurants to explore nearby, I must warn against Mogano. Unfortunately, my experience there was marred by rude waiters and disappointing food. However, this minor setback was easily overlooked, considering the abundance of other dining options. Although Island House doesn’t boast an ocean view, the staff are more than accommodating, providing a quick shuttle service to the Old Fort Bay Club in just 5 minutes. And let me tell you, the beach at the Old Fort Bay Club is nothing short of breathtaking – easily the best I’ve seen in the Bahamas. For those craving a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend Island Brothers, a charming French restaurant not too far away. The host is a lovely man, and the ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner or a casual meal with friends. Overall, my stay at Island House was nothing short of delightful. From the serene surroundings to the friendly guests and excellent dining options nearby, it was the perfect getaway. I would gladly return in a heartbeat.

We went with our two children and had an amazing time! The staff took care of us and there is so much to do. No need to plan in advance for excursions because they ask each night what you feel like doing the next day. The food was amazing, the cabins are on the beach and cleaned daily. A remote place with great fishing, deserted island adventures, blue hole trips, bike rides, hot tubes, scuba diving and more. We look forward to returning.

By far one of my favorite places to visit in the Bahamas! You can always count on the consistency and amazing service provided by their team. I have visited several times and will continue bring friends and family here.

Truly wonderful place. I chose to stay here because they provide tours to the West Side National Park, but there's so much more. It felt like a summer camp, where you have fun all day, and then chat with new friends during social gathering at the dinner. The service is exceptional, we had everything we needed, and food was accommodated to our adventure schedule, so we never worried about being too late for lunch or too early for breakfast. The food is tasty, the staff is cheerful and very helpful. The rooms are very simple. There are bug sprays and sunscreens available. Every night, you have a personal little planning session to schedule activities for the next day. We spent here only three days, but that's far from enough. There's so much to do: snorkeling at the beach and at the reef, diving (and getting certified!), fishing tours, kayaking, paddle boarding, visiting west side, biking to the blue hole through the village, exploring some trails, a batik tour, reading all the books about the reef in the little library, and playing games in the game room.

Small Hope is Heaven on Earth. We were greeted with open arms when we arrived at 7:30am. No worries, we enjoyed breakfast, and after breakfast we were shown to our rooms! The place is clean, and a beautiful throw back in time. No TV or internet in the room. I loved this! The grounds are lush, the staff is kind, the food is out of this world. I will 100% return to Small Hope.

Small Hope Bay Lodge is, in a word, perfect. Everything about it is gorgeous, from the scenery to the nature opportunities to the staff. My wife and I spent a week there and could have stayed forever. It is worth noting that Small Hope is different than many of the big all-inclusive places you might encounter. It's very intimate (total capacity is between 40 and 50 guests), and you should expect to get to know the other people you're there with -- as well as the phenomenal staff -- over buffet dinner and drinks and during excursions. Luckily, the resort attracts truly pleasant people who share interests in diving/fishing/connecting with nature/relaxing. Andros is out-of-the-way enough such that the people who go there really WANT to go specifically there. I wouldn't change a single thing about our experience other than wishing we could have stayed longer.

Stunning views. Wonderful staff. Delicious food. Swimming with sharks. Massages. Birdwatching. It’s all there. While it may not be as plush or gourmet as other resorts this place is exactly what you’re looking. You are taken care of from every angle. Learn to scuba like I did and feel safe 40 feet underwater with the guides. Take a stroll to the freshwater blue holes and cool off. And don’t miss the conch fritters and ceviche!

A little Gem! Set on a gorgeous crescent of beach with clean, comfortable cabins and a staff that makes you feel like family. RELAXED, No pressure, so lovely. We mostly moved from one hammock to another, spending our days in the water, swimming, snorkeling, floating down the mangrove lined creek. The dive staff offered to drop us across the bay at a little island with our own cooler of snacks and a beach umbrella for a few hours - heaven. These folks are kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable about their passion for diving and preserving the natural beauty under the sea and surrounding it. We trusted them with my first dive and snorkeling with sharks. We enjoyed daily gathering for lunch and dinner with other guests and the crew. My favorite was cocktail hour when whoever was behind that bar handed me my first choice from an inventive menu of drinks (Denis VIP - the best). This place is unplugged, invites conversation, but no pressure. With none of the typical "All Inclusive" noise our meals were delicious home cooked and announced by the chef then applauded by all. This is a magical place! Thank you to Jeff and the staff for welcoming us into your world.

My husband and I visited Fowl Cay from 3/16/2025 - 3/22/2025. I can't say enough good things about the entire resort. The staff was superior in every feature! They were ALL responsive to anything we asked of them. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the service was exceptional. The villa had everything we could have needed and then some, and the bar and dining experience each night was fabulous. I could mention staff personnel individually but I worry I would leave someone out and there was no one there that didn't exceed their duties. The location is also perfect and we enjoyed a lot of the amenities provided. It goes down as one of our best and most relaxing and pampered vacations. Thank you!

Anchored in the bay for a few days and came here with a friend for sunset dinner / drinks. View was amazing, other guests were interesting and friendly, service was fantastic, food was excellent, and drinks were plentiful! 🥂🍽️ Pricy, but quality doesn’t come cheap, and it’s the Exumas. Overall worth doing at least once.

We had an incredible stay at Fowl Cay. Everything from the staff, the villas to the food and views were amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

What an incredible family vacation! We loved having our own boat to explore the Exumas during the day, and loved the dinners and cocktails at Hill House at night! The picnic lunches packed for us were always delicious. The staff were so warm and welcoming. And, of course, we were always thrilled for Rosie (the resort dog) to greet us when we came back in the afternoons. We had such a wonderful time and are looking forward to going back in the future!

Second time staying on Fowl Cay for us. Villas are beautifully appointed and spacious. The private outdoor space with our own beach is amazing! From the fresh baked goods and fresh fruit delivered in the morning, to either a picnic lunch on the beach or lunch in the villa, to sumptuous and creative three course dinners the food is second to none. The staff are very welcoming and make the stay so comfortable. Add the personal boat alloted to us for snorkeling and the expert advice on where to go and this resort is the place to go. Cannot wait to return!

We spent a week on Fowl Cay in March of 2023. This small resort is beautiful and the staff are phenomenal. We stayed in Sea Breeze, a 3-pavilion villa with incredible views. Everything was included including the fantastic meals for lunch and dinner, as well as use of our own boat to explore the nearby islands. We had an amazing week and hope to go back soon!

This is an amazing place! Allan and his staff go above and beyond to make your stay top notch. We stayed in the oceanfront Lindon Cottage and it was perfect for my wife and I. We enjoyed the warm pastries and fruit every morning out on our patio that overlooked the beautiful blue water. Our boat was ready for us every morning with a cooler of cold beverages and a wonderful picnic lunch. We got to explore everything this breathtaking area has to offer at our own pace. The cocktail hour was a great way to start our evening with fabulous appetizers and beverages. My wife's favorite was the made from scratch Bloody Mary. The gourmet dinners were 5 star Michelin quality. This was the trip of a lifetime! We usually never go anywhere twice, but we will definitely back to this heavenly place.

Stayed here with my family for a week and we all enjoyed our time there. Only took one star away because of the lack of the food. We had a butler helping us make dinner reservations but without him we probably would’ve been eating takeout pizza every night. Make sure the plan ahead because the restaurants fill up quickly. The food is expensive and honestly not worth what we spent. For a family of 5 we were spending about $250 per meal. We had mixed reviews about the flavor and size of the dishes but I enjoyed most of my meals. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. Never saw litter or anything that looked dirty. The beach is beautiful and the waves were never too bad. There were always beach chairs available and the staff there was always ensuring everything was clean. Overall we loved our experience here and will be back!

I had a nice experience at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. The location is beautiful and amenities are vast and inclusive. The layout of the hotel is organized and allows for a thorough walk through. The beach area is clean and well kept. Everything is expensive especially the food, but it is delicious nonetheless. The pool areas are big and have plenty of seating and the gym is adequate. Be prepared to dress up as it is a requirement for some restaurants. The service could have been better but overall I enjoyed my stay.

The Hardwear of the hotel is great. The rooms are modern, clean and fresh. The resort(s) are clean and well maintained. Beach/Pool is nice. Gym is great. So far all good. What the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar lacks is quality of service, staff and food quality. For food they charge 5 star prices but offer 2 star quality. While I dont have problems in paying high prices I expect then as well good/high quality. As well is the staff (few exception such as Linda from the Stix Noodle bar) is not friendly/welcoming. They show no warmth and give you often the feeling that they just work because they have to (get their salary) Last but not least be aware of the taxi scammers that drive you from the hotel to the airport. The sign at the hotel clearly shows 29 USD. The taxis however will ask you 35-40 USD for the 15 min. ride. Overall the stay was OK, but I would not come back. There are other Hotels in this category and islands in the caribbean that offer better service and hospitality.

The entire experience is very superb. Brought my kids here mainly for the waterpark but overall the beaches are nice. Customer service is iffy, some guys like Decos and Mark at the baha waterpark security are super nice, but most others do NOt want to be bothered. Like they do not like tourists, no matter how approachable you try to be towards them. I give it 4 stars because the prices are outrageous and the staff overall could be a lot nicer.

The rooms, overall location and services were admirable. The grounds were well-maintained and the scale of the property and beachfront is attractive. Restaurants, pools and bathrooms are everywhere. This was my first non all-inclusive resort and I felt the prices for everything was a bit gouging. No drinking water is offered in the rooms, but I appreciated the free quality canisters provide and several refill locations.

This is my second day staying here out of a 7-day booking, and I already want to leave. If you’ve ever been to Cancun or any other tourist area in Mexico, you will find this resort extremely outdated and disappointing. The facilities are old, and the restaurant service is terrible — most of the waiters spend their time chatting loudly with each other instead of attending to guests. Service in general is poor. If you don’t take the initiative to speak first, they will simply ignore you. I also felt a serious sense of racism — especially from the female servers, whose attitude toward us was noticeably rude and dismissive. As an Asian woman, it honestly felt like they preferred to serve white guests. 😓 The male servers were a bit better, but overall the atmosphere is uncomfortable. I usually enjoy relaxing places where I can chat with the staff, but here the female staff make you lose all desire to interact. The pool closes around 6 p.m., which makes no sense — are guests supposed to just go gamble at the casino afterward? At dinner, you can’t even sit at a regular table because they “don’t want to set the tables.” Also, if you enjoy going to the beach or the pool, be prepared: you have to walk through the casino every time you go downstairs. Everyone will stare at you because you’re in a swimsuit while they’re sitting there gambling — it’s awkward and uncomfortable. The hotel room itself is very basic, nothing special, and the entire resort has no real highlight other than multiple swimming pools that you mostly can’t even swim in. Overall, this place completely failed my expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Compared to other Hyatt properties I’ve been to, this falls on the lower end spectrum. Amenities and food are not that great. Rooms lack everything you need. Room service is confusing and front desk is unhelpful. In comparison to the Atlantis down the road, this is a Raddison hotel. Spend the extra go to Atlantis. My experience is they care enough about ALL the details making the money worth it My room was disgusting when I checked in. PUBIC hair on my pillow, floor of the bathroom, bathroom sink and shower!!! Nasty. Housekeeping did a poor job. Because my room was located on the next continent and in desperate need for relaxation I didn’t make a complaint over this as I just wanted to settle and begin my vacation. I threw the pubic infested pillow into the tub On my 2nd day I left the air temp at 74. When I came back in later in the day I found it at 64!!!! Are you trying to kill your guests and ruin their comfort and stay by freezing them out? Seriously? On the 2nd to last day I used one of the glasses to drink some water and left a lipstick ring. Proof now housekeeping does not clean at all… On my LAST day, morning before check out as I was doing my final sweep of the room to ensure I had everything the glasses turned upside down caught my eye. I looked at one and guess what…. THERE WAS MY LIPSTICK STAINED GLASS!!! Are you serious? Between pubic hairs and lipstick stained glasses I can only imagine what other FILTH I was exposed to during my stay! Unbelievable Furthermore- Talk about false advertising or otherwise poor guest relations training. At check in I was asked if I wanted my food and beverage at the hotel to accrue points to my world Hyatt account. 1 week post vacation, only points I got were for my stay. Where’s my food and bev credits? I stayed 6 nights ate in site 3x daily spending minimum $100+ per meal you owe me quite a bit of points I tried to email the property instead they sent me a link to BOOK my stay. Terrible terrible horrible training and guest relations. They need work I’m actually going to sought out legal representation for false advertising. Nobody should be duped like this for their entire stay, pre stay, post stay

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Grand Lucayan Lighthouse Resort in Freeport, Bahamas, with a large group of friends and family. I have been visiting the beautiful island of Freeport Bahamas for over 15 years and thought I knew exactly what to expect form this experience. This was my first time staying at this resort. While the resort boasts a beautiful setting and offers some excellent experiences in and around the hotel (karaoke was a big fan favorite), our stay was unfortunately marred by subpar service at the pool and evening resort bar. The Good: Beautiful Property: The resort itself is stunning, with well-maintained grounds and a picturesque beachfront location. Efficient Reservations: The reservations team was helpful and accommodating, ensuring our large group had a seamless booking process. Pleasant Dining Experiences: The on-site restaurants provided delicious meals and attentive service, especially for our large group. A couple staff members at the on site restaurant quickly became some of the favorites on the trip. The Bad: Disappointing Pool Bar Service: A significant drawback of our stay was the consistently poor service at the pool bars. Having such a large group the large majority of our stay was spent in the pool and on the beach. Despite being one of the few guests at the pool, we often experienced extended wait times for simple drinks, as the bar staff prioritized socializing among themselves. This level of inattention to guests was frustrating and detracted from our overall experience. Conclusion: While the Grand Lucayan Lighthouse Resort offers a beautiful setting and some excellent dining options, the subpar service at the pool bars significantly impacted our stay as that was where we spent most of our time and would get food during the days. Given the high expectations for an all-inclusive resort, it is disappointing that such a fundamental aspect of the guest experience was not met. We would recommend considering other options for future visits to Freeport.

The hotel is in need of some serious TLC. All the rooms are outdated. The pool and outdoor restaurant area had rubbish on the grass that was never cleared and the landscaping was spare. It wasn’t busy when I stayed so the service seemed fine. There was a section on the beach that was constantly over run by gulls, which flocked in dozens to clean themselves and drink from the hotel pool. Overall not a hotel I would recommend.

The Grand Lucayan Resort has a stunning exterior and an unbeatable location right on the beach. The views alone are worth the trip—crystal blue waters and soft white sand make for a picture-perfect tropical setting. You really can’t beat the peaceful vibes and natural beauty of this resort. Security is a clear priority here, which I appreciated. The resort is strict with wristbands—if you’re not a guest, you’re kindly asked to leave. It definitely makes you feel safe and like the property is well-managed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. That said, there were some major drawbacks during my stay. Unfortunately, for two full days, the entire resort was without air conditioning. My room became unbearably hot and uncomfortable, making it almost impossible to relax or sleep. I reached out to the front desk, but was told there wasn’t anything they could do. I also overheard other guests dealing with even bigger room issues. In general, the rooms are in need of serious updates. The carpet was old and worn, and the overall look and feel of the room didn’t match the beauty and quality of the resort’s exterior. Because of the heat and lack of AC, I ended up checking out early. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay—but it wasn’t great either. The location and staff are great, but the resort’s infrastructure and room conditions definitely need attention. With some upgrades and more reliable amenities, this place could be amazing

Overall, my stay was okay. The hotel is all-inclusive, which is convenient, but the service could definitely be better. The staff wasn’t rude, but they also weren’t friendly — more indifferent than anything else. One morning at breakfast, I waited for about a minute before the staff member (who was on her phone) even acknowledged me. The food was just okay, nothing to rave about. The kitchen and bar service also lacked warmth — one of the bartenders seemed irritated anytime someone approached, which made it uncomfortable. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive option in Freeport, this place might work. Just don’t expect standout service or exceptional food. It gets the job done, but not much more than that.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Grand Lucayan. I booked my reservation a month in advance, only to have it canceled the day before my trip. This was not only inconvenient but also very unprofessional, as it left me scrambling to make last-minute arrangements. A resort of this caliber should value its guests’ time and commitment and provide better communication and customer service. I expected much more reliability and consideration.

I visited the resort in March 2023 for my birthday. While the resort itself was nice, the male bellhop was extremely rude. I visited this location through a cruise line and paid a significant amount of money to spend the day at the resort. My husband and I had separated from our group to do some shopping, so we walked in alone. As we entered, the bellhop—whether he was security or not—rudely questioned us about our wristbands, as if we should have known to get them. He spoke to us as if we were beneath him. This is the second time I've encountered such behavior in the grand Bahamas, where African Americans seem to be treated poorly and as if we are all uneducated.

We visited for the day while we were cruising through the Bahamas. The day pass is very reasonable for both adults and kids, and you can easily purchase a pass once you get there. Only $35 for adults +18 and $17 for kids up to 17yo. There is an all-inclusive pass for $100 if you would like to drink and eat at the buffet, but we did not choose that option. You can pay cash or card to get in, but it is card only at the bar. I cannot rate the rooms because we didn't stay in one, but the staff was pretty friendly (for the Bahamas 😉) and they gave out free bottled water during your stay. I gave it 4 stars because they charge $16 to rent a towel, and a taxi ride takes 30 minutes to get there, but once you get there, it was definitely worth it. The sand is white and soft, and there was no seaweed or rocks. We bought souvenirs from vendors on the beach, there were quite a few of them, but they weren't super pushy. We rented jetskis for 30 mins and it cost $120. They had a DJ by the pool/bar area playing music and getting the guests involved in games, and he even taught some line dances. We asked to play volleyball on the beach,and they put the net up for us and brought out a ball. The infinity pool is beautiful and a very nice touch and added option. We had a group of 16 there, ranging from 3 yo to 46 yo, and we had an absolute blast! I highly recommend this place!

To be honest the place was nice. But the service was slow. Breakfast they rarely had anything. Not enough choices for food unless you rent a car to leave the resort. Everything is beyond expensive which okay it’s a vacation so understandable. They take forever to do anything, the housekeeping we would come back with sand in the sheets, she would make the bed with things underneath, we had a toddler and we would find his toys underneath the “ made” bed.

We stayed at Grand Isle Resort for our honeymoon and it was exactly the relaxation we needed! The service was definitely 5 starts and all staff members were so friendly to us. From the moment we arrived exhausted after our wedding, we stepped into ultimate paradise. Our villa was located right next to the pool and ocean, the view from our balcony was spectacular. Everyone at the pool bar was so friendly and service was super fast with our food/drinks. We tried to jerk shack on the beach and we instantly fell in love with the flavors of that chicken and Mac n cheese, We went back for seconds! All of my piña colada’s were right on the money, the rum was delicious. A huge shout out to Carlton at the beach bar, and Shelly at the seastar spa. She did a phenomenal job for our couples massage! The entire staff treated us like royalty and we really really really appreciate it. We did not want to leave this morning and we were already talking about when we can come back to Grand Isle…. This place was beautiful. The people are so kind starting with Paul and Jay from once you get out of the taxi followed by the rest of the staff. If there is an event or an excursion you are interested in Sherry will pull the strings and have everything setup and ready to go....she makes it so easy to do anything you are interested in. Beach is super nice and they have toys, snorkel gear, kayaks, and paddle boards along with an assortment of other things. Food is great and makes it out pretty quick. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you want to dine at their restaurant. Dinner requires reservations but we went during a slower time and there was plenty of open time slots for walk up last minute seating. Thank you Grand Isle for the memories and can't wait to make it back next summer.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Grand Isle Resort! Grand Isle Resort is truly accommodating, beautiful, and staffed with amazing people! We originally stopped by just to have lunch at Palapa, but the moment we entered the property, we knew we had to leave our VRBO to fully enjoy everything the resort offers. I went straight to the reception desk, and to our surprise, they had a room available that fit exactly what we needed. They even arranged for early check-in and had our room ready by 1 PM. A golf cart was available to us for a daily rental fee, which was a huge plus for getting around the property. Our room was simply beautiful—immaculate, comfortable, and stocked with every amenity you could think of. The resort features two large pools: one for families with children and another reserved for adults, both stunning and relaxing. We continued to enjoy breakfast and lunch at Palapa throughout our stay, and on our last night, we had dinner at 23 North—absolutely delicious. From start to finish, our experience exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend Grand Isle Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

we enjoyed our stay overall! some things to note before you visit the island of Exuma, be aware that the power frequently goes out (which is not the resorts fault at all) but the first day we were left without power for 8 hours. So if that’s something that will be a problem keep that into consideration. The rooms were nice and every single worker at the resort were the kindest people I’ve personally ever met. Side note. If you need a driver on the island. Contact Telicia Marshall. She was so amazing and took us every where we needed. You can request her through the resort. She truly made the trip for us!

What glitters is not gold! This resort looks like it’s luxury online and from the exterior appearance when you arrive, but it’s far from it! First off, ocean view is not really ocean view. It’s a dingy marina view and unkept units. These units are individually owned so it’s hit or mostly miss on the quality (or we were purposely given a bad unit). Our first room had paint splatters all over the walls. Microwave didn’t work, and our $70 steak got stuck in the extra microwave that was on the counter. Bugs and spiders running across the floor. There was a giant bat in the shower one morning and someone had to get it out. And the mattress was the hardest mattress we’ve ever slept on! Ever! It felt like concrete and my whole side was sore. I had to take pain pills and sleep on a pillow the next night. And the toilet was running and leaking all night. When staff was told about these things they didn’t seem to care much and questioned the validity by asking condescending questions. We ended up switching rooms but still the same view. Dryer didn’t work in the next unit and there was no remote to the bedroom TV. Location is too far out without a car ($50 each way). Staff treat non- white people differently. We were told there was no welcome rum punch so I had to go buy it while we were checking in. The next day I seen a couple sipping said complimentary rum punch while waiting to go to their rooms. When brought to their attention it was nothing but excuses. There’s no entertainment at all on the property. With the amount you’re paying and how isolated it is, they should incorporate some live music nights, and other activities at least a couple days each week. It’s giving they want to make as much money as possible but give very little in return. Pool is too cold and needs to be temperature controlled. Staff at 23 north stole our credit card info and made fraudulent charges right after our dinner for almost $200. The women here were mostly fake nice but a lot of the men were accommodating which was the only breath of fresh air. Shout out to Denrick, Shawn, Aaron, Tyrone, Melo, Michael, Reynold & Paul for providing great service. We travel monthly and to luxury resorts and this one does not match the price tag. If you stay here choose the cheaper room (none are really that good to pay extra) and have a rental car. Otherwise, I recommend staying closer in like at Augusta Bay or Peace & Plenty. And please don’t book any extra activities with them like tours or the spa. Go direct to Exuma Sports. But with all that being said, the island of Exuma itself is gorgeous! But it’s a No to Non-Grand Isle! Be sure to read the other low reviews and believe them! Good luck!

Another epic trip to Kamalame Cay this is my favorite place to visit such a beautiful island best food and friendly staff. The landscape is magnificent driving though tunnels of healthy coconut trees feels like you were in the South Pacific. Offshore and bottom fishing was fantastic

I've been photographing weddings in the Bahamas for years and I've never had such a gorgeous and delightful wedding experience. Highly recommend visiting, doing a party or wedding here, and enjoying the best the Bahamas has to offer!

Welcome to Paradise! I've been to Kamalame Cay half a dozen times in the past 10 years and have yet to find a place even close to as enjoyable.  The service, accommodations, food and location truly separate itself from the rest.  It's easy to get to from Nassau and one of the only places we can truly unwind.  This year was the first time my wife and I brought our son and it couldn't have gone better.  The beach, ocean, pool, food and staff were all perfect for him and he had the time of his life.  Highly recommend this slice of paradise to anyone and we look forward to coming back very soon!

• A Slice of Paradise with Unmatched Hospitality We spent Memorial Day weekend at Kamalame Cay and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the experience was pure paradise. The setting is stunning—peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained. The staff were outstanding—genuinely warm, attentive, and a true pleasure to interact with. What really sets Kamalame apart is the personal touch from the owners, who always go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and special. Every detail was thoughtful and seamless. It’s the kind of place you dream about returning to again and again.

Stellar, peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. No cars, so you're given a golf cart to scoot around (although, why not walk - it's beautiful). Very few people (but a lot of adorable hermit crabs). Colette is a gem, and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful, down to the ninja-like breakfast basket dropoff at our door every morning. Cannot wait to return.

This place is THE PLACE to be. I give a lot of credit to the staff for making you feel at home. The food is unlike any other hotel food you're accustomed to. Walk on the beach and you feel like the only guests on the entire island. Can't recommend enough and can't wait to go back.

I forgot to write a review when we stayed here last year but it's magical! We felt like we had the entire island to ourselves other than meal time. In 3.5 days we saw a total of 4 people on the entire beach. Our cottage was gorgeous, shabby beach chic and so comfy. We explored the whole island on the golf cart (highly recommend going all the way to the end to see the giant starfish), fished, snorkeled, kayaked and paddleboarded. The staff was incredibly accommodating with a few special requests/meals and it honestly couldn't have been any better. We can't wait to go back and still can't stop telling people about it!

Since I sent them an email and I got absolutely not a single response, I will leave my lovely email here from September 27th As a Hyatt colleague, I never felt so disappointed and so low customer service wise. My email is written below: I would love to start giving a shout-out to the Jazz bar team. I spent a wonderful evening there with an outstanding atmosphere and band, couldn't be better, it was worth the whole trip I had from Toronto to here. Cafe Madeleine staff was very knowledgeable about all the ingredients, allergens and everything displayed on the menu, The service there was on point(so good I went there twice in 2 days). I also need to thank shantol at the Stix noodle bar for her service and positive energy. However, not everything has been positive and clear since I arrived. I got encouraged to make dinner reservations before I land because of availability, but what happened, not all these places have employee discounts and you get encouraged to book in advance, and a waiver signed that you will get 100 USD for cancelation fees if you have a no-show. But you don't get to know the places you get discount up untill you arrive to the hotel which makes absolutely nonsense for an outsider trying to understand that this is not only a Hyatt property, but also running by a third party, in a nutshell, full price. While we did our check in, we felt like we got thrown to the unknown land. Not knowing where anything was, not instruction of maps or how to get guided in this massive resort. I don't know the system that you guys have to tell housekeeping when a room is occupied or not, or just checked in, but housekeeping knocked out door twice, just half an hour after we check in, making us feel very weird not to say uncomfortable Right after, we got lost for almost 40 minutes walking back and forth to reach Costa, a place that I reserved, I needed to show up to not get those 100 charge, and guess what, the most expensive expresó martini I drank in my life(70 for 2, wild, isn't it), trying to chill out, got caught by one of the their employees telling me that I can not be on the pool that was at the front because I'm at the Hyatt and not at the Rosewood. Also, at 3am I got thirsty, had to run downstairs for a water fountain, none of the employees I asked knew where they were till finally I reached a security that told me they were at each floor where the ice machines are. (Called in room dining but the 14 dollars per bottle of water scared me) Yesterday, after getting our room cleaned by housekeeping, guess what, clean towels were not placed back, but because I ran it so much yesterday, I knew that there were two stations full of them beside the ice machine and I grabbed what I needed myself.

We stayed in room 1200, and it was a great experience overall. The breakfast buffet was really good, and there were tons of fun things to do like the water park, wave rider, and 8-ball pool table. The only problem was when we went to the pool and came back to find our inflatable float gone from our room. We reported it, but they couldn’t find it before our flight back I don’t understand why the workers would take the inflatable from our room. Besides that, everything else about the hotel was good

I recently stayed at Baha Mar in Nassau, and while the resort itself is beautiful and we did have a good experience at the restaurant Stix, we were very disappointed with the customer service at some of the on-site restaurants — particularly Pizza Lab and Starbucks. At both places, the staff were shockingly rude and unwelcoming. When we placed our orders, there was barely any acknowledgment. No greeting, no eye contact, and not even a simple "thank you" or "you're welcome." The woman at the counter dint bother repeating what we said and we honestly couldn’t even tell she was taking our order as she started messing with old receipts and looking all over the place. In the end she still got our order wrong. It felt like we were an inconvenience just by showing up. At Pizza Lab, the staff seemed irritated from the moment we walked in. At the gelato section, no one explained the menu or responded when we had questions. The same energy continued at Starbucks — cold attitudes and no basic courtesy. For a resort that prides itself on luxury and hospitality, the lack of friendliness here was surprising and really disappointing. Customer service is a big part of the experience, especially at a high-end resort like Baha Mar. Sadly, this really put a damper on our stay. I hope management seriously addresses the training and attitude of the staff at these restaurants — guests deserve better because this was ridiculous.

This is my second day staying here out of a 7-day booking, and I already want to leave. If you’ve ever been to Cancun or any other tourist area in Mexico, you will find this resort extremely outdated and disappointing. The facilities are old, and the restaurant service is terrible most of the waiters spend their time chatting loudly with each other instead of attending to guests. Service in general is poor. If you don’t take the initiative to speak first, they will simply ignore you. I also felt a serious sense of racism especially from the female servers, whose attitude toward us was noticeably rude and dismissive. As an Asian woman, it honestly felt like they preferred to serve white guests. 😓 The male servers were a bit better, but overall the atmosphere is uncomfortable. I usually enjoy relaxing places where I can chat with the staff, but here the female staff make you lose all desire to interact. The pool closes around 6 p.m., which makes no sense are guests supposed to just go gamble at the casino afterward? At dinner, you can’t even sit at a regular table because they “don’t want to set the tables.” Also, if you enjoy going to the beach or the pool, be prepared: you have to walk through the casino every time you go downstairs. Everyone will stare at you because you’re in a swimsuit while they’re sitting there gambling it’s awkward and uncomfortable. The hotel room itself is very basic, nothing special, and the entire resort has no real highlight other than multiple swimming pools that you mostly can’t even swim in. Overall, this place completely failed my expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Top tier resort. Pricey but worth it. Beautiful pool and clean beach. Spacious rooms and very clean. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt portion but easy walkable access to SLS and Rosewood.

Visited the Bahamas for Mother’s Day and stayed a full week at the Hyatt Baha Mar. I’m so glad I chose it over Atlantis! The resort is beautiful, bright, and modern, with a lively atmosphere. I visited both resorts, and while Baha Mar feels newer and more vibrant, there are a few spots showing a little wear, nothing a quick refresh couldn’t fix. In comparison, Atlantis felt a bit darker and stuffier. During our stay, we ventured out every day, taking the local jitney bus to explore the island, enjoy local eateries, daiquiris, and souvenir shops, and even stopped by the original Rum Cake Factory, such a fun and memorable experience! Overall, I absolutely loved my time here and would definitely stay at Baha Mar again on my next visit to Nassau.

I heard that this was the nicest casino in the Caribbean. After visiting I agree. Beautiful facilities and very friendly staff. Lot’s of different areas to explore. Plenty of amazing restaurants and bars. Great beach. And don’t miss the flamingos. There is a daily parade at 9:30 am currently. It was cloudy with storms when we visited but we always had something new to do.

We recently stayed at Viva Fortuna Beach and had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the evening entertainment—especially Amy! She was an amazing entertainer and dancer. Her energy was contagious, and she truly brought the place to life every night. The kids loved her! Whether she was leading a dance, playing games, or just interacting with the little ones, she made each evening feel special and fun. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for families. The pool area was a big hit with the children, and the food options were varied enough to keep everyone happy.

Our family had a great time staying here for a week. As an all-inclusive resort, there were plenty of activities to do that could keep our group entertained. The food and drinks were decent, nothing spectacular but manageable for a week. The rooms need work/renovations and better cleaning service but overall, we were comfortable and had all the basics of what we needed. The beach is beautiful and had plenty of chairs. The entertainment staff kept things lively and did a great job at creating a fun vibe on the resort. For the price we paid, the vacation was good value and we had a great time.

The only positive I have is the ocean beach. It was beautiful. Food- They offer buffet style but because they never cover the food up there is a 50/50 chance a fly has been in your food. Because of this single fact i actually lost weight. Room -My room had ants 🐜 and the shower head shuts off when it decides too. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and several friends of mine had the same issue. The rooms need to be updated to modern times. Activities- they had activities but not a wide variety. Final Thoughts: To me this resort was a retirement resort for elderly people. A vacation spot for book lovers with an edge. Someone who goes to waffle house for Thanksgiving dinner. I can not think of any reason to return here unless you are on a tight budget or have never experienced a true all inclusive because if you have you will truly be disappointed.

This was my first time visiting The Bahamas and this resort. I and my husband visited for a wedding. Pros: The oceans views and beach are beautiful. The water is transparent shades of blue with palms tree that provide a bit of shade. If you're looking for a more quiet venue but with limited option of activities, this would probably be a good fit. The pool area was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The space provided for the ceremony (beach) and reception, was nice and better than expected given the outdated look of the rooms and kids area. Cons: Upon arrival, the guests rooms were not ready. Some guests weren't given what was initially requested (ie. king-size bed). I was told the initial room that was assigned to us had a broken A/C unit; however, we were eventually given the room we purchased. The room was outdated. We had a time trying to turn the shower on and off. The A/C unit is loud. There were small ants all around. The desks were slanted as if they were barely hanging on. Some guests were given complementary water bottles and beach towel vouchers. We received neither. The food hall is an open area which means flies, birds, and cats (yes cats) are able to roam around the food. Subsequently, my husband threw up within 5 minutes of eating. The food also is not hot or room temperature. Be mindful, food availability is NOT 24 hours!!! There is NO room service. If you plan on eating late, it's best to have snacks or go off the resort. The bar stays open, but don't expect to be intoxicated. The drinks are mostly juice. We didn't do any excursions or activities, because there wasn't much detail provided through the app other than the time if the activity. As stated before, this resort would be great for retirees or those looking for a quiet place. The "club" on the resort was empty the Friday night we came and our family made up majority of the guests Saturday. The music was enjoyable and the dj did allow song requests. The wedding was beautiful given the beautiful beach cabana and our family enjoyed being with each other. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this venue for anyone looking for a more modern-luxurious and excursion heavy resort. Its more targeted towards the elderly and those wanting a quiet vacation.

I am not one for writing reviews but I really felt I had to for this one. Well it's true what they say in that you get what you paid for. I now know the difference between a 3 star and 5 star resort and I probably will never go to a 3 star resort ever again. I will start with the nice stuff. The staff was friendly. I can't really complain about them The beach was great too. A few too many rocks in the water mind you but if you have on beach shoes you can manage. Now for the negatives and the real reason I'm writing this review. This place is in desperate need of some serious renovation and updating. Leaking roofs in the restaurant and by the main bar should be fixed asap. Maintenance and cleaning staff need to do a better job with cleaning for sure. One day it rained and it caused a lot of debris to be scattered everywhere and it remained across much of the cemented walking paths all day. For a resort you would think they would be out their first thing in the morning cleaning that up but no such luck. I'm not even sure they had a truck come by to even out the sand every morning. As for housekeeping, they need to learn to do a better job cleaning the rooms.

Upon arrival our ac in the room did not work abd there was an awful smell. They attempted to fix it. Day 2 same thing. We had to pack up and move to another room. Upon arriving at room #1126 the toilet and sink were broken. Tried to call ft desk. The phone was broken. After 3 days they finally fixed it after I fell foward and hurt my knee. The bathroom had mold on walls and shower. We could never get the proper amount of towels. We would get one a bath towel and mat. Constantly asking never getting. There were 2 people in the room. The sliding door would not barley open. Now to the buffet, I nor my husband, couldn't hardly eat. There were flies all over the food all the time. It was so disgusting. Why is there no cover on it ? This is an open air cafe. At the beach Cafe , the birds were on the counter licking the condiments and trying to get to the bread. So disgusting! Why are you not using squeeze bottles that would eliminate that problem. I want a full refund for my stay. The rooms were dingey, they never sweep the floor or changed the sheets. There was mold, never got hand soap refilled and no towels to dry hands. This trip was a birthday present for my husband and it was awful. I want a complete refund for my stay. I'm not disputing the boat ride. It's the disgusting hotel and bug infested buffet.

Came here for our honeymoon. The room directly next door was under construction so we couldn’t even hang out in our room during the day without constant LOUD drilling. Complained about it & got moved a single floor down, which didn’t help whatsoever. The noise is still there. When we complained nicely about the burden this has been, it was a half witted apology and no offer for reimbursement, amenities, free anything. It was basically “oh well, sucks.” Yeah it sucks we can’t enjoy our thousand dollar room while on our honeymoon. The hotel is advertised as having an adults only feel, along with adult only points but there were kids EVERYWHERE. Every restaurant in the resort had children who were screaming or crying. The adult only pool and bar “frezka” did not restrict families, therefore we were surrounded. The staff was fairly nice, but not as helpful as you’d think they’d be at a luxury resort. They had attitudes and gave us quick witted responses. Not the honeymoon experience I would wish for.

This place is nice. The waterpark was cool and rides were fun and safe. We went to the restaurant Fish. Nice place but food was overpriced for the taste and portion. We met this sweet cat, decided to name it Greg. We fed the cat some food seemed hungry. I recommend to feed this cat if you see it as well, it’s very friendly and sweet 😄 (we just bought it some cheese from the store)

Beautiful hotel with a tranquil beach vibe. Room was clean. I have 2 queen beds with steps to living area tha had a sofa bed. Small balcony with a beach view. The weather was bad so I was able to enjoy the beach. Pools for family and adults. Free parking but if you have mobility issues I recommend valet parking for a fee. Parking is a little far and below a hill. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shuttles were available to all their properties and marina plaza.

The Cove is pretty stellar! Located with great access to the beach. Stellar service and friendly staff. It would be five star but they closed the entrance to the water park for maintenance. So it’s a 7 minute walk around from the other side. We would have picked the Royal had we known that. It was hard to get out with a baby stroller and the frequent rain made it inconvenient. Not very kid convenient if you have to warm up baby food. They don’t tell you till you get the bill that they charge $10 every time they warm it up. Other hotels allow us to bring it down to the kitchen and warm it for free.

This hotel is a SCAM, don't spend your money here, you've been warned. I've paid nearly 5.000 USD for a Lapis Club Ocean suite and after the booking I've noticed the rate for the same dates dropped to 3.216 USD. A week later would be 2.989 USD. When I complained, I was given a RIDICULOUS explanation: the booking system is like buying a flight ticket with dynamic rates and therefore not eligible for a refund (despite there are many flexible flight fares providing full refunds). The supposed suite was also a SCAM! It was a normal bedroom with a couch and a tiny closet where one person can barely move. Besides the FAKE classification, the room furniture and decoration are OLD and LOW QUALITY Even the balcony was in cement, not with proper floor material. Absolutely TERRIBLE. To make it even more DISAPPOINTING, there was NO DRINKABLE WATER in the room and the mini-bar was EMPTY. Called the room service and was told to go and get water from the ice station next to the elevators. Complained again that there should be water in the room and was told to wait till 6pm, the time they have some kind of round to provide water in the rooms. This seems a joke but was the exact reality. There were also no glasses or mugs, just paper cups. This kind of room gives access to the Lapis Club Lounge with included breakfast. As I was paying more than 1.000 USD per night, I expected a tasty buffet breakfast, with a minimum standard of any other 5 stars hotel. It was so BAD that is actually EMBARASING for the reputation of Atlantis. This was definitely my WORST EXPERIENCE in a "luxurious" hotel.

Not recommended. The hotel hasn’t been renovated in over 10 years, and it shows. Most of the staff provide terrible service—you practically have to beg for assistance—and the food is a disaster. On top of that, everything is outrageously overpriced (USD 11 for a bottle of water). The property’s age is evident in every detail, from the musty smell of the room carpets to the weak water pressure in the showers. Yes, the pools, water slides, and beach are enjoyable, but at these prices it’s simply unjustifiable. At best, this hotel should cost half of what it does now. Maybe 10 years ago, when I first visited, it stood out—but not anymore. Today, there are far better alternatives: more luxurious, with superior service. Sadly, this really feels like the decline of ATLANTIS.

Beautiful beaches, very gracious staff, nice hotels. Went in the off-season just before Christmas, the place was nearly deserted and we had it all to ourselves. One of the most relaxing trips I can remember in 2013

I absolutely love Nassau Bahamas. In part because of my local connections there. It's a different experience when you can experience Nassau from a locals perspective. It is a beautiful place with friendly locals and food that I crave until I get to it again

A lot of it was destroyed in a hurricane a few years ago. Rebuild seems slow. A lot of destruction, many places are closed. The scenery is of course still gorgeous but there s not much to do.

What a beautiful place to visit! We had some poor weather and still had an amazing trip. The island is trying to recover from the big hurricane, but it was a blast and I recommend anyone going!

Best vacation. Beautiful people wonderful weather. The people are hurting because of the government, but they do not let it effect their attitude. The food was wonderful. I can't wait to go back.

It's a nice little Cruise. We went snorkeling, the waters were very rough I had to get out. Recommended for strong swimmers. And we went to see the dolphins and we had fun.

Grand Bahama the second city, this has been my home since 1998. It has always been a quite island, within the different community's you will find and encounter happy people,friendly people, laid back but hard working people. Grand Bahama from Mcclean Town to West End,Hawksbill to Mathers Town, Back-a-town to Fortune Point everyone is very much family oriented. Hurricane Dorian ravaged through the island of Grand Bahama and one thing is for certain the people are persistent and very much dedicated to restoring their island. Much help is still needed. One of the best hotels in the Bahamas! Fantastic stay! We stayed here a few years back with my wife, we really enjoyed our stay, and I have some memorable souvenirs of the food. Generally speaking the buffet time is not something to look for but not here. As this is a french chain it is clear that the food is a really important selling point, and it is really worth it! The beach obviously was Fantastic too as you can see on the pictures! Overall amazing stay !

I’ve visited 5 different club meds and Columbus Isle is hands down the best spot i’ve ever vacationed at. This year the service was exceptional and had some of my favorite GO’s of all time. Coco, PO, Leo, Bells, Izzy, Jacob, and the whole bar group made the trip one of the best i’ve ever been on. The rooms are nice, although I was having too much fun to spend a lot of time in them. The gorgeous island and the friendly employees lifted everyone’s mood and made a very pleasant atmosphere among both employees and guests alike. I couldn’t possibly recommend anything more than booking a stay at Club Med Columbus Isle!

A wonderful experience as always. Special thank you to the AMAZING waterski team, Coco, PO, Leo, and Jacob were superstars and we had an absolute blast with them. Amazing stay over 4 days. Peaceful, beautiful, luxurious. A terrific place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Every staff member was lovely, the room was so nice and the terrace we had was amazing. Food was great, spa was lovely and the 24-hour pool was the best part! 100% recommend.

We had the most amazing stay at Goldwynn and the Bahamas was everything we ever imagined ! Turquoise waters, warm air, gentle sea breeze, colours and beautiful scenery wherever you look. The hotel was well equipped, clean, comfortable and the food was excellent. Service and people were unforgettable . Highly recommend this resort for your family holiday in Nassau and we hope to be back one day.

I absolutely love Paradise Island, and I especially miss Cabbage Beach. The moment you step onto the soft white sand and see that stunning turquoise water, it takes your breath away. I’ve never seen a beach so beautiful and clear — it honestly looks unreal. Even though once you’re in the water it feels like regular spring water, the view from the shore is unforgettable. The way the sun hits the ocean makes the whole beach glow with different shades of blue. It’s something you have to see in person to believe. We’re already planning our second trip back because we know there’s more of the island we haven’t explored yet. There’s just something peaceful and special about this place — it stays with you even after you leave.

Overpriced Overrated So commercial like a zoo Nothing paradise about this resort high prices Buffet dinner $64 a person and that doesn't include 10% tax and 15% tip in price not included Shake shake easy $100 that's only few burgers and fries. Biggest rip off vacation spot ever been to. As soon as I checked out no more Internet access literally check out 11am by 11:04am couldn't even log in and for high prices very sad and embarrassing for Paradise to have to access when you are still at the resort for a few more hours. Horrible resort literally highway robbery Nothing was accommodating you pay for everything except for water park passes come with resort fee. They even charge for gym, paddle boarding $40 and mini golf $45 a person kids $25 these activities are at no cost to the resort. The Royal tower hotel was disgusting as furniture was rusty conditions old, shower heads nasty and mold even in bathroom shower. No refills of shampoos Needs a remodel for price you are being charged it's a ripoff The 15% tip automatically in everything is horrible so service isnt great as they are automatically getting that 15% so they don't care about their services. Beaches nothing great about them, Rocky as hell such big rocks and they constantly closed it. No towels on one of my 6 days after 1pm how are you supposed to swim or dry yourself unacceptable period. Overpriced hotel with nothing accommodating to guests everything is extra cost for everything. I'd never go back could of went on 2-3 vacations with that prices all being all inclusives. Lots of poverty driving back to airport sad maybe they should use ripping off customers with extremely high prices and help the poor. It's like you leave golden gates to see ppl lined up to get feed at kitchens or wheelchair person sleeping on the ground saw this with my own eyes. And you scratch your head going what the charge ppl at this resort is humanly disgusting.

Went to Atlantis and walked around this huge hotel. The glass sculptures and fountains were amazing. I was on a cruise with friends so we only got to spend a part of the afternoon there, but I would love to go back and actually vacation there.

Words do not describe how beautiful this place is, no matter where you go, what street you are on the vegetation is just beautiful! Locals are super nice, everything seems to be $$ but that was expected. We visited Cabbage Beach. Also, make sure you have cash on you. We struggled with finding an ATM that actually worked.

One of thee best experiences of OUR LIVES! If you ever get the the change to go,GO! I spent a week in the Bahamas, and it wasn't enough time to get through all of the towers. Atlantis is beautiful. We stayed in the Coral tower. We plan on going back and staying in all the towers(total 4-7). The staff was very friendly. The food is delicious. Just be aware of VAT=value added tax in addition to the 15% gratuity AUTOMATICALLY added to every meal. All in all, it was AMAZING!

Great if you're rich or just want to come for a day to sightsee. Very beautiful island, however, I would not stay here again since it's so cut off from the main land. You have to get here by ferry or taxi so be prepared to spend. Very pretty clear water.

Lovely resort. However the restaurant was terrible. The staff are exceptionally rude. Quality of the food is subpar. If you're considering an inclusive package, I would think again. By far the worst food we've had while trying the islands for the last month. Our experience certainly does align with the high-end resort they market.

Beautiful location and fabulous sunset viewing from the bar while waiting, waiting, waiting for the very indifferent, borderline rude staff to bother themselves and take your order. Seriously, been coming here for many years, and while still a beautiful setting, have never been subject to such poor service as this season (2025). The staff clearly run the place based on their mood. Management from HQ is nowhere to be seen!

Long overdue review from our trip in February 2025. We decided to travel to Long Island because we fell in love with the Cape Santa Maria hotel, the photos of the hotel, location, and ocean were simply amazing and we wanted to have a laid back, relaxing week enjoying the beautiful Bahamian ocean. The hotel itself is beautiful, though far to reach from the airport. It is also very isolated from other food options on the island, so eating at the hotel is pretty much the only option. We had several meals at the hotel on the first half of our stay until we became incredibly overwhelmed and affected by the staff's rude and apathetic behavior. Each meal took HOURS to get through because the service was beyond slow. The food options were terrible, the quality of the food for the price was appalling. If you look at the other reviews, it's basically the same experience -- incredibly rude and awful staff, excluding one nice young lady at reception (whom we met way late into our trip) and the housekeepers. The staff pretty much used the restaurant bar to socialize and have their little get together with locals while we were dying waiting to have our table cleared or get a drink or get the bill. It seemed that the staff was more proactive to a few select guests -- older retired white folks, who perhaps tipped them at every meal. We would have tipped better too if the service had merited it. However, being tortured by being left to wait for your meal for hours while the staff socialize among themselves rather than cater to you as a guest, left us feeling like they really didn't deserve any more of our money. I believe we ran into the hotel manager a couple of times, a Canadian guy, if I recall correctly, and he did not bother to even say hello, much less ask about our stay. For a place this nice, it's infuriating to have such horrible, careless service. We ended up renting a car in the end, just so that we could go eat elsewhere. Do not recommend.

We had happy hour and dinner here. Drinks were $8 and beers $5 with free conch fritters. We had the fish tacos and they were just ok. I would recommend another dish. PRO TIP: bring bug spray as lots of no see ems even inside.

Wonderful place. The beach is amazing. The bar and restaurant is great. Staff was very friendly. Bungalow was comfortable and always kept clean. Highly recommend for a island getaway.

My wife and I stayed in a bungalow for 3 nights. Cape Santa Maria resort is located on a beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our bungalow had a screened porch which allowed us to enjoy some beautiful sunsets. The room was equipped with good AC to help us adjust to the tropical weather. We spent many hours walking the beach, swimming, paddle boarding, and exploring beautiful Long Island. I will definitely recommend the resort to friends and family

We had such a nice time here. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The beach and ocean here are nicer than any place I can remember. There is always off-shore wind here so it was calm the entire week, great for little kids. The island is quiet and there are limited options for dining, etc on Cat Island which is fine for us but if you want more activities and dining, you might want an island with more tourist development. But, if you want to relax on a beach with clear water and no tourist crowds, this is it. We will return.

A magical, remote getaway. The owners, Carl and Yvonne, and their amazing staff treat you like family. The location is spectacular - a remote stretch of white sand beach on a remote island. The cottages are comfortable and well-appointed. I can't wait to go back!

Truly a wonderful experience all around, you can feel the passion and hard work it took to building a place like this right as you step foot on the property. Our family of 4 went to magical Cat Island last summer and on multiple occasions we said to one another, "I think this was one of the best days of our lives!" If you want a remote getaway with wonderful people, pristine beaches, tropical fish and wildlife, and the most hospitable hosts, we highly recommend Rollezz Beach Resort.

Excellent service, amazing location and perfect villas, a few feet away from the ocean. Could not have gone to a better place to unwind and rejuvenate. Clear water, virgin beach and amazing privacy. The rooms were spacious , very clean, well appointed and had amazing views of the endless ocean. The kitchen had a stove and utensils, and also refrigerator and coffee makers. The WiFi was good and didn't have trouble with watching shows on Netflix. The beach was very clean and had ample chairs to lounge and bask in the sun . The hosts Yvonne and Carl took great pride and treated us like family. The delicious food was made fresh and the entire crew was super friendly and offered exemplary service. Our group had a few vegetarians and they made sure they had vegetarian food for lunch/dinner. The deserts are made every day and the best we have had, especially the blueberry cake. Carl definitely makes the best omelette. This is definitely a must visit place and we would definitely visit again. It's just 25 minute by air from Nassau. This is definitely not the regular crowded , commercial vacation place. It's more like a private island. Miss the sound of the ocean, the resort and the whole island. Thank you Yvonne and Carl and to your entire crew, you know how to treat your guests. See you all soon.

This is our second vacation at Rollezz Resort and we highly recommend this fine establishment!! Beautiful roomy accommodations with full kitchen, only steps from the beach, are comfortable and cheery. All the grounds, buildings and the beach are carefully maintained and groomed daily. On the private beach there are cabanas, kayaks and comfortable loungers. The proprietors, Carl and Yvonne, will cheerfully fill every request and do whatever is necessary to ensure your stay there is the best it can be. Carl is also a great cook and makes nightly dinners with fresh Bahamian seafood and veggies from their gardens. Of course there is chicken, beef and more for variety, but everything is delicious. Cat Island is our favorite island and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere other than at the Rollezz Resort.

Rollezz offered a wonderful experience for a relaxing vacation. The resort offers the perfect balance for seclusion while still providing the quintessential necessities and luxuries. Unobstructed access to miles of beautiful beaches just outside the cottage door and experiencing the breathtaking sunsets made for the perfect landscape for a rejuvenating trip. The resort also offers on-site dining with one of the most hospitable staff compliments, air-conditioned units and excellent wifi! A great way to feel off grid but not completely detached. Will definitely make a return visit!

The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, making us feel safe and excited the whole time. It felt like more than just a vacation; it was a true adventure and a chance to connect with nature and people in a meaningful way. Recently stayed at Andros Beach Club with Jesse and crew. Always wanted to visit Andros and could not have done it in a better place. No stress, every day spearfishing different locations, every night eating a massive feast of extraordinarily prepared fresh fish and lobster. Great accommodations, staff and guides, including Jesse's own son Porter! We also had brought our own entertainment and a fun group hehe. Will be back for a repeat next year God willing.

Jesse and the local staff did a phenomenal job taking care of our family reunion. Food was amazing with lots of fresh fish. Resort charters were outstanding… did bonefishing, spearfishing, scuba, snorkeling, kayaking. Jesse was a great host. Beds comfy, rooms comfy, all good! Expect we will be back. My kids 17, 19, 21 all love the resort.

I recently supported the organization of a team retreat for 21 people at Andros Beach Club, and I cannot express how thoroughly impressed we all were with the experience. From start to finish, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the hospitality was simply outstanding. The ABC team went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met with warmth and efficiency. You can feel the respect and care that Jesse, his two sons, and the entire team has for this slice of paradise. The food was another highlight of our retreat. Each meal was a delightful culinary experience, featuring an abundance of local goods while catering to all dietary preferences. All meals were fresh, delicious, and enjoyed by all (even two toddlers!). The communication with Jesse was seamless, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. Jesse will pick up the phone call on the second ring, or while on a ski lift for that matter- he cares and wants your trip to be successful. The human aspect in working with Jesse and his team was refreshing. Finally, the location provided the perfect landscape for our team activities. Jesse worked closely with our group to plan team excursions on the water: scuba diving, kayaking in the mangroves, snorkeling, river exploration, and even a lunch on a private sandbar. The ABC grounds include serene walking paths to the beach, a hammock deck with two lounging hammocks, a firepit area with comfortable seating, and a massive beach deck offering a space to host meals/events with picturesque views. ABC was our dream-come-true location, an inspiring environment that allowed us to unwind, recharge, reconnect with the Bahamas, and become grounded as a team. In closing, this venue offers a perfect blend of excellent hospitality, delectable food, dedicated staff, and stunning surroundings. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a memorable and impactful team retreat.

Andros Beach Club handled everything needed for our group trip. The location and beach is gorgeous. Jesse and his team ensure everything is taken care of so you can enjoy your time on the island. All of the meals were fresh and featured local foods and worked with all dietary needs. Highly suggesting visiting Andros Beach Club if you're looking for a private beach experience.

We arrived to South Andros truly in need of a relaxing, no-pressure vacation. We are happy to say that Jesse’s Andros Beach Club did not disappoint. We spent our days doing exactly what we wanted. We dived, snorkeled, took walks on the beach, relaxed, read books, and ate amazing food every day. Jesse’s kitchen staff was creative, resourceful, and talented. Memorable culinary experiences included our lobster dinner by the beach, dining with Jesse, his boys, and some of their local friends, and eating grouper and hogfish captured during a spearfishing expedition. We also really enjoyed the conch dishes, including fritters, salad and soup. For the sake of brevity, we can say that each meal was carefully prepared and excellent. The kitchen staff took pride in both product and presentation, and never failed to greet us with a warm and welcoming smile. Each day during our week-long stay, we sat down with Jesse, chose an activity, and came up with a schedule. Although we had a few days with some rough weather, it allowed us the opportunity to dive two of the inland blue holes – a new experience for us, and a prominent phenomenon on Andros. Jesse was great, explaining how the dives would progress and what we would see. We were fortunate to see unique species of cave shrimp and several blind cave fish! Once the weather settled, we were back out on the ocean. Some of our favorite sites were the Labyrinth, featuring amazing swim throughs, and the Pyramids. We should also mention that Jesse’s dive and boat crew, Daz and Marvin, took great care of us during both inland and ocean dives. Overall, we had an incredibly nice vacation. Jesse saw to everything: transportation, activities, and hospitality. It was entirely stress free. The facilities are also very nice, and reflect a great deal of hard work by the owner. Our room in the 3-bedroom house was spacious and comfortable, with excellent A/C, a comfortable bed, and a screened in porch that allowed us to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We had everything we needed. We highly recommend the Andros Beach Club, particularly for those looking for something different than the typical big resort experience. You won’t find nicer, more invested hosts – Jesse and his sweet boys were a pleasure to spend time with.

My husband and I spent a week at Andros Beach Club and couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation. We rented the one bedroom house and loved everything about it! The screened in porch, outside shower and being able to hear the ocean while laying in bed! We enjoyed the beautiful secluded beach, Barb's blue hole tour, the West Side Tour with Jesse snorkeling and fishing, lunch and snorkeling on a private island, bike riding, Mars Blue hole snorkeling and The Holy Land tour. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared by the fabulous women of Andros Island and we loved every bite. The fresh fish, lobster, conch were delicious but I can't forget the homemade bread and preserves. From the first email correspondence booking the trip until departure Jesse was a pleasure to work with. There was no pressure or stress booking the trip or with planning daily activities. The entire staff at Andros Beach Club were genuinely kind and friendly! We've been to some beautiful hotels and resorts, but there is just something different and special when you feel "at home" at the beach. And it's truly special when you arrive as guests but leave as friends.

While in town on our sailboat, we had drinks at the inside bar (super cool spot) and then dinner outside on the enclosed patio. The tipsy turtle rum punches were delicious. Our dinners were just good. Lobster, peas 'n rice, mixed steam veggies, and lobster tacos. We split an order of johnny cakes. Service was good.

Green Turtle Club is an absolute gem in the Bahamas! We love this resort and island! This is our third year and we love coming back!! The rooms were clean, cozy, and I love the bathtub! The staff always is friendly and accommodating! Dinner at the club is always the best! We love their Grouper Curry, conch fritters and poke bowl! The Tipsy Turtle Bar is full of character (and great drinks!). Whether you’re here to relax, fish, boat, or just soak up the local charm, this place is paradise!! Conch salad off the docks is always a great choice and the sunsets never disappoint!

We come to eat here by boat when staying at a nearby island. The food is always fantastic. The fish is fresh and flaky. The crispy grouper wrap is not to miss. Grouper bites are also great. Portion size for the grouper bites does change by the day unfortunately. But this is always my favorite place to eat when visiting the area.

Come for the turtles, stay for the weed. I admit I came to ride the turtles. Doesn't everyone? Green Turtles are world famous for their gentleness and inquisitiveness of humans. I had so much fun splashing around with them and riding on their shells. What sets this resort aside however is the weed. Delivered right to your room from an expansive menu. It is a little more than you're probably used to paying, but when you can vape on a balcony looking out across the sea, or enjoy edibles watching a sunset, the price doesn't seem to matter. Don't forget those turtles either.

The host was very grouchy and not pleasant to the kids. Very gloomy vibes and strict rules. One of the ladies went and grabbed my sons ass to check if he was wet and went to us rudely saying your son cannot be inside because he was “wet” even though he was no where near wet he js had a little spot on the edge of his butt due to sitting on the wet chair inside this place. It may seem nice with the rich people leaving good reviews but this is not the place do not waste time and money here! God bless yall.

We went for dinner on our last day vacationing in the Abacos. They said dinner was "smart casual attire" and did not allow us to eat in bathing suits and shirts, typical attire for an island in the Caribbean. What kind of service is that? Would never return.

I only came for the Pink Flamingo restaurant for dinner, but the property was immediately stunning and the recent renovations really showed. The hotel was gorgeous and had great unique character. The restaurant itself though really blew our expectations out of the water. On a small island like Harbor Island there aren’t a lot of restaurant options, but this one was excellent by any standards with a fresh menu of mostly Italian style fare with Bahamaian twists. The food was genuinely outstanding at every point, with fresh high quality ingredients. The ambiance is perfect and gorgeous with amazing ocean views, great for families and couples. Service was perfect - super friendly, knowledgeable, fun. Really no complaints and a world class dinner experience all the way out here in the Bahamas. Highly recommend going out of the way here on your Harbor Island trip - make a reservation ahead of time!

I loved Coral Sands! I visited the restaurant and absolutely loved the experience. The conch fritters are delicious, crispy and flavorful, and the view of the pink sand beach was stunning. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The new renovations are absolutely gorgeous. A must-visit spot for great food and beautiful scenery!

We only ate lunch at their beachside restaurant and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. The colors, the ambiance, the food, the view and our bartender Xavier - all amazing!! We are going to look into staying here the next time we are at harbor island. Such a neat place.

The Coral Sands resort on Harbor Island, in the Bahamas is a 6 star experience. The staff simply made our stay magical. From their friendly smiles, to their attention to detail, to their level of customer care, it was one of the most perfect vacations we have had. We will definitely be back. Patrick and Debbie

There is a tranquil slice of heaven on Harbour Island in the Bahamas! From the welcome at the front desk & an exotic welcoming drink called “The Pink Mermaid” to the impeccable kept cottages and service this resort stands heads above any others.

We stayed last month and were stunned with how wonderful this hotel was. Everything is beautiful and has been given attention to detail. The interior design matches throughout with lots of thoughtful touches. Staff were friendly. A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

I had to cancel my reservation at this hotel due to pregnancy-related illness. Despite providing information about my medical situation, the hotel strictly enforced their cancellation policy with no consideration for the circumstances. While I understand policies exist for a reason, I was disappointed by the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to work with me given the medical nature of the cancellation. The hotel's response to my situation makes me hesitant to recommend them to other travelers, particularly those who might need accommodation for unexpected medical issues. Future guests should be aware that the cancellation policy is enforced without exception, even in cases of illness. I would have appreciated even a partial refund or the option to reschedule for a later date. This experience suggests the hotel prioritizes strict policy enforcement over guest circumstances.

What a place! From the views to the water to the service of the friendly staff. Quiet "off the grid" type resort. True paradise. I can't wait to make it back. We stayed in a bungalow with a lanai steps from the water and the restaurant.

If you want to have the most beautiful vacation ever, then this is your place. Don't even bother looking elsewhere. I did so much research on peaceful and uncrowded resorts and this was the one I chose. Most people would be content with visiting Nassau or the exumas. I urge you to go a little further. Long island is amazing. Smiling faces everywhere along with a friendly wave. The roads aren't the greatest but really you won't be on them long. It's a short ride in a taxi to the resort. As soon as we stepped out of the cab it greeted us, the sounds and smells of paradise. We were greeted with joy and handed pamphlets on what the island has to offer. We settled into our Villa and looked out our front door to the most beautiful picturesque scene we have ever gazed upon. I didn't even know beauty like this exsisted in real life. The color of the water and the white sand brought a tear to my eyes. I don't know if I will ever be able to match that level of beauty in my life again. I have included pictures of the area but they will not be as amazing as seeing it in person. Our hosts Matt and Darby, along with the rest of the staff at Cape Santa Maria, were so amazing. We had many great conversations with them over the week we stayed there. We were suggested a few things to do over the course of the stay that we are glad we experienced. We took a bike ride to the Columbus monument which had stunning views, went on a pig excursion which included conch catching and a delicious conch salad prepared for us by our incredible captain Colton. Speaking of delicious food, we ate almost every single meal in the restaurant right there at the resort. Every thing we tried was amazing. Our favorites were breakfast foods like avocado toast and their omelette. During happy hour (from 5-6 each day) they serve free conch fritters which were delightful. Oh we also tried almost every mixed drink on the menu and they were all delicious. I'm partial to the bahama mama or rum punch, my girlfriend loved the Nothing Compares to Blue. I could go on and on about this place but just take my word for it (and everyone else's) and just book it as your next vacation. And do yourself a favor if you can and stay longer than a week. It's just not enough time.

Cape Santa Maria is paradise lost. I have visited many Caribbean islands and the beach & sea are unrivalled. Kick back, grab a cocktail and switch off the devices!

What can I say about this place, it's paradise! Kelly the head bartender has a great fishing company that can take you on all your fishing expeditions and I found another great place to get fresh conch salads delivered. Renaldo, just ask Kelly and he will set you up.

We had an 8 person villa, directly on the beach. This was the best CALM family vacation we've ever had! If we had to change anything, we would go deep sea fishing earlier in the week so we could eat strawberry grouper all week! The big shallow cove just north is a great place for kids to explore, see some rays and little sharks. A few SCUBA outings and snorkeling for the family made it feel Carribbean. Staff was friendly and knows everyone on the island. Most relaxing vacation possible!

This was an interesting experience to say the very least. We booked this vacation to celebrate our anniversary. I was pregnant, zika was present in Mexico and our travel plans quickly changed to this resort. The customer service was terrible. The attitude of staff was pretty mediocre although we did meet a few people who were extremely nice. We booked a room with a King bed, walk in and there are two twin beds. We didn't make a big deal. Our belongings in the safe were very safe because we couldn't even get it open. Had to call down to maintenance to break it open. Food was not great. The steakhouse was the best dinner we had. Pools and beach were beautiful. The grounds were nice and manicured.

Such an amazing time spent at the Melia! My wife and I went there for our honeymoon and it was totally worth it. All the staff members were super friendly and more than willing to help you with whatever you needed! The beach was beautiful and the pools were always the perfect temperatures. Both a pro & a con was that the hotel seemed to have a lot of construction going on (at least 4 rooms on our floor were under construction) but it was really nice to see that they were actively working on up-keeping the building to their standards. The food was amazing. The Marketplace always had really solid amazing food every night. We didn't get a chance to eat at Cilantro but we ate at Nikkei 3 times and all 3 times were amazing. I would suggest booking Nikkei in advance to get the hibachi! Our room was beautiful. We had such an amazing view of the ocean. The room was cleaned daily and the mini fridge was always stocked totally full. My wife and I have already agreed that we will be going back for our anniversaries.

Hotel is decent at best. Pools are nice and so is the beach. Good luck eating at any of the restaurants. They are understaffed and you will only be eating at the buffet or outside "grill". The website over sells all they have to offer. Was really looking forward to trying all the restaurants, but at this point we will be lucky to eat at one.......... So, now that we are home, I wanted to update my review. Once we realized you have to be in line at 8:30 to make a dinner reservation, we were able to eat at Cilantro & Nikkei. The food was fine, but all of our servers were great. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating, from the servers, all the way to the maids. The staff is what caused my 2 star review to be a 4 star.

We just returned on 3/28/19 as a family from Spring break and we had a lovely time at this property. The room was great. Always clean and well kept. The food at the resort was also good. We had no trouble getting in to the restaurants on property because we called a few days prior to our trip and made reservations. The food at the restaurants was also good. While several people have not written positive things about the service at the hotel, we found quite the opposite each and every day. All workers were friendly, accommodating, and willing at times to go out of their way to serve. The pools and beach we also good. The adult pool with swim-up bar is far enough away from the family pools that you hardly notice what is taking place there. If you are looking for a place with good food, good service, nice room, beach and pool, our family thinks you’ll like it here.

Our room wasn't terribly, but wasn't the best either. The view was nice but the bathroom needs major improvements. Food at the buffet was OK. Nikkei restaurant was decent and Cilantro was pretty good. Staff was not overly friendly. Helpful, for the most part, when needed but being there didn't seem to make them too happy... though partially understandable. It took a few days to realize that everything accept for the traffic was in slow mo. That is the culture, which I started respecting about 3 days in.

We had a wonderful vacation. The hotel is older and in need of some minor repairs; however, they are making repairs daily. The restaurants food was wonderful. Aqua (Italian) was delicious fresh pasta and sauces. The Marketplace (buffet) was my least favourite. The food was good, but the wait staff was not attentive very hard to get refills on drinks. The staff love children and seem to really cater to their needs. The mini bar in the room really came in handy for those little snacks the kids need between meals. Our room attendant went above and beyond to fill the snack bar when my kids were hungry at 930pm. We would definitely return to Meliá. The Bahamian people are so friendly and kind.

Hotel was great!! We had a Great time! Didn’t know what to expect from some negative reviews but it was great! Monique (Lil Monique) that is one of the beach drink girls Was AWESOME! Hard worker and very friendly and happy!! And a great voice! We found All staff to be great and very attentive!! Always asking how your day was going! Felt that the hotel was kept Very clean! Only complaint would be that you have to wait on line for a reservation for dinner! And so we didn’t wait on the line 2 days and ate at the Buffet which was good! Would defidently return here and will be back. ❤️

This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. We booked through British Airways and were never informed about ongoing construction. For the first two days, there was constant drilling, completely ruining the start of our trip. On top of that, the “ocean view” room we paid for was almost completely blocked by palm trees — nothing like what was advertised. The staff were some of the rudest we’ve ever encountered. Management was dismissive, dishonest, and offered no real solutions. After arguing back and forth, we eventually got two nights free, but they still refused to refund the resort fee. Their billing practices are ridiculous. We paid $1,000 upfront for 5 nights, but they kept charging our card without notice. As a result, our bank flagged the charges as potential fraud, blocking our card until we had to call the bank the next day to resolve it. There is absolutely no reason they couldn’t let us settle all charges at the end of the stay. And to make it worse, it’s a “cashless resort” — which is confusing when there’s a casino on-site. Food was overpriced and just average, staff across the property were rude, and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. The only positive part was Rosewood, where the staff were genuinely kind and professional. We would never recommend SLS Baha Mar. Between the noise, the fake “ocean view,” the constant unannounced charges, and the rude staff, it’s not worth it. Save your money and stay at the Atlantis instead.

We recently stayed at SLS for 4 nights, overall it was a great trip but we did have some hiccups during our stay. Tip: They have an alcohol shop in the airport after you collect your bag, highly recommend as drinks are VERY expensive at the resort, also buy alcohol from duty free on your way there, this saved us a lot of money on drinks (each drink was roughly 25$ USD) Also buy your own water bottles from the airport or buy from Island Essentials which was cheapest at the resort Pros: The beach, pier, lobby is beautiful - the resort overall is beautiful and very lush feeling due to the greenery and maintenance Concierge was helpful and kind Lots of food options Lots of shops and casino space Cleo was a great restaurant - and we mentioned it was an anniversary Food trucks on the beach were a great food option Check out the flamingos Taxis was readily available Download the Baha Mar App - was useful Cons: The concierge didn't ask if we are celebrating anything, even though we heard the previous guests being asked and given a drink voucher Beach staff in yellow were dismissive and rude Too many kids if you're looking for a relaxing stay Lazy river was great except the kids were walking through it and splashing on you, the lifeguards could care less and looked miserable Most of the pools cost money to reserve a lounger or a cabana so it was limited if you just wanted to enjoy freely Common (free) pools had limited space -we were visiting during slow season Food and drinks were very expensive, they add a service fee/tax on everything Monkey Bar was great however staff was miserable and not willing to come up and take your order Tip - check in with the concierge before 4PM to see if you're room is ready - we waited until 4PM and they did not call us to tell us the room was ready until I went up at 4pm - they said looks like you're room is ready Drift pool was under maintenance so the other free pools were very busy and it was hard to get a space mid afternoon Room: Room could be cleaner Water was not provided daily - had to ask Slippers and robe were not provided as advertised - had to ask Sheets smelt bad - had to ask to change on first night TV was malfunctioning - IT had to come in to fix One morning the water in the sink and shower ran brown due to maintenance - we were not notified so it was disturbing to wake up to dirty water When checking out we mentioned we had a few hiccups during the stay but they did not ask or really care why, just printed the bill and asked if we need a taxi We booked an oceanfront and the balcony had a great view Overall, this was a great, relaxing trip.

If you want to be treated horribly by the staff and made to wait endlessly at the front desk because of their mismanagement of reservations - on top of the exorbitant charges for everything - this is your place. We stay at hundreds of hotels all over the world and have never been treated so poorly. Beautiful property but being harassed by the staff makes it not worth it. Monkey Bar food is horrendously bad and the bartenders are also quite rude. While ordering (thankfully my last) drink here the bar tender interrupted me while I was giving my order to ask if I want a to go or to stay glass then proceeded to just make up a drink and when I told him he didn’t listen he just waved me off. I’m fine paying $25 a drink but for rude service no thanks. They literally treat you like they never want you to come back. Go to Four Seasons if on Nassau. - btw Ethan at front desk and Christy from concierge- very kind and professional. - UPDATE - I am now being charged for my original reservation that was changed at the front desk when we arrived. So they’re charging me for two stays not just the one we stayed for. What is going on there?!?

When I visited with family in July of 2023, we had an amazing time. The lobby has a lot of fun things to do when you wait, and the rooms are very clean and have great views. The staff at the SLS are super friendly and very helpful. There is so much to do here, and my family had an amazing time. The ocean view that we booked was more of a pool-view, since we got a room on the left side of the building.

Worst experience ever. Disgustingly rude staff. They do not care to assist you. All staff have terrible disgusting attitudes. Servers don’t care to give good service either, being that tip is included everywhere. You pay thousands of dollars to come here and be treated like garbage. Will absolutely never return, and will be sure to let every single person I know to spend their money elsewhere. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Food is garbage. Almost everything is an extra fee. Disappointed is a HUGE understatement.

Great job. Airlines failed and canceled our flight home. SLS took care of us immediately and we checked back in for another night. Baha Mar is a fantastic property. The rooms and accommodations were top notch. We will be back next year.

It’s my third time staying at the Baha Mar and it was my most disappointing time. It was my birthday and I got a deluxe Queen room and I think they downgraded us because the rooms were so tiny and so dark it was actually insane. They did not go above and beyond to make my birthday special, which is a big factor when choosing a hotel I also review hotels and this is really disappointing to write.

Have been going to old Bahama Bay for over 15 years. Love the staff at the marina especially Kyle and Stefano. Love the staff at the restaurant. The rooms are run down and dingy. The water pressure was so bad that we could not flush the toilet or take an adequate shower for two days. We called the front desk and begged for someone to come so that we could shower and they said “we will send someone right away“. Well, that never happened. After fishing for eight or 10 hours a day to come home with no hot shower people were literally trying to shower in the bathroom in the marina out of desperation. No one on the second floor in any of the units had anything more than a trickle coming out of any of the faucets. They left a real bad taste.

First time here. The pictures online look amazing of the place. I would say the rooms are older need some attention. We had bug, ants in the rooms. Black mold in the corners of some of the walls. I really didn’t want to take off my socks in the room. The fan didn’t work. Heard this was one of the better resorts, if that’s the case I can’t imagine what the others are like. Family of four only had two towels , used shampoo sample bottles. I was impressed they came and cleaned our room then gave us more towels and essentials. We rented the Junior Suite which had the oven well there is no pots or pans to cook with so if you rent and are thinking you can cook be prepared to bring EVERYTHING. Now for the pool , very clean and nice. The staff was very nice. The restaurant was very good. I normally don’t write reviews but if you stay here you need to bring everything with you. Thinking spending so much you would have it here try again and if you need it very $$$.

Just got back from a 5 night stay and what an experience. Staff at the hotel were very nice but the accommodations were less than impressive. Out of 5 rooms rented thru the official hotel website, 3 of the rooms had to be changed immediately due to many noticeable issues included but not limited to no A/C, checking into a room with soiled unmade linens, and shower water that smelt like rotten eggs. We were eaten alive by bugs while sleeping. But I do have to say the staff we encountered were pleasant. No real amenities, pretty bare bones. Thought there would be things to do by the beach but nothing was present and it was impossible to get towels by the pool/beach. It served its purpose for the time being but wish someone would come in and renovate the property, it has such great potential.

We love the location of this hotel but sadly we will never stay here again. We stayed ten years ago and again this past week and left both times completely covered in sand flea bites and possibly bed bug bites. Seven of us stayed in three different rooms. One didn't have working air conditioning or a fan. The bathroom door also didn't close. The sofas in all three rooms were badly stained. Our sheets were stained and the room smelled so strongly of Clorox it was hard to breathe. There didn't appear to be any major updates since the last time we stayed and the bites were just as bad. Barely any water pressure or hot water at all. Lots of rust and corrosion. We only went to the beach once and for only a few minutes because we were scared of being bit more by the sand fleas. The dock was nice and well managed. The restaurant offered good food and drinks. This place has amazing and beautiful potential but the bites are so miserable it's just not worth staying there. I don't know what a solution is as the bug spray (with deet) and the oil concoction they sold in the gift shop did nothing to help. We are now home desperate for itch relief!

Stopped here for 1 night to refuel and clear customs. Everyone was very nice and professional! We were able to enjoy the beach at sunset! Beautiful 🌅

We stayed at OBB and they area for about 1.5 months. Such a beautiful location. Our condo was perfect . Great people. Amazing food at OBB West Side Grille and the area! Pretty sure we had every meal they offered at West Side Grille and they were all so good! Oh, and the pool side bar shack had bangin food too!

The security staff woman would not let me in. She totally embarrassed me when a guy in golf cart offered to give me a lift also, she would not allow this. Refused to let me wait on the beach whilst waiting for restaurant to open. I asked to speak with the manager. The most above himself, obnoxious, arrogant, egotistical being. Never been spoken to so rudely. He told me that I am not staying here so could not use the beach. I could not wait until restaurant opened. I did not choose to stay here so cannot use the facilities. Why don't I just wait in the street outside, for the bus in four hours time to, take me back to where I came from. What kind of treatment is this. Anyone who knows or works for this person i feel sorry for, and they will know I am not lying. Horrible person. Who made someone like this a manager?

Enjoyed our stay at Valentines at a 1 bedroom condo. Nice accommodations. Friendly staff, and good service. Amazing pink sand beach and beautiful turquoise blue water.

I WANTED to love this place. It is beautiful, it is clean and rooms are very nice HOWEVER some of the staff are not friendly at all. Actually let me be more specific, the bar/restaurant and coffee staff (All front desk, room service, dock and dive staff were nice). There is one restaurant and one coffee shop on the premises- both with staff that will leave you thinking they hate you and their job. I always make sure to be very respectful and kind when vacationing in another country because I do value the cultural experience and all of the people that make it happen. That being said, I have never felt so uncomfortable in a customer service situation. The bartender would not make eye contact or acknowledge that I was speaking. She eventually did what I asked but I was unaware she even heard me because there was absolutely no response. As if my existence annoyed her. Same experience at the coffee shop. It was bizarre to say the least. By the end of our trip, we went out of our way to avoid both the restaurant and coffee shop because it was so weird. And we love our bars and coffee, so it was a struggle. We would not come back to stay at valentines based on this experience. We absolutely loved the rest of the island, tons of wonderful people.

I want to take a moment to recommend Tamara Kangal, who was an absolute blessing during our recent Valentine's weekend event in Eleuthera. I met Tamara at my sister-in-law’s wedding reception, and I was truly impressed by the way she connected with my daughter who was being fussy and us right away. Whatever we needed she would make sure to get it for us right away. Tamara’s calm presence and attentiveness allowed us to enjoy the celebration without worry. She handled everything with such grace. She respected the environment and worked in a way that supported the family while allowing us to focus on the special moments. If you're planning a wedding or social gathering on the island and need someone caring and reliable with kids ask to see if she can be part of the team that day because all of the adults in our family felt very safe and happy not only with the way she served us drinks but that she would check in that Sarah was safe on the Marina. Above and beyond service from her part.

Valentines is a long standing favorite for so many. It never fails you. The location is unreal. The fishing, food, service, music and strangers that become friends is why we have been coming back here for over 20 years. It has grown a lot over the years. Thank you Valentines for so many wonderful memories.

This is our second time at Valentine's resort and it is an absolutely wonderful place to stay at! The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and inviting, the docks are convenient. Great place to stay for your next vacation!

Beach views are outstanding. Drinks and food were definitely local recipes and great!

The staff was super helpful and attentive. The villas were spacious and clean. When we had an issue w our golf cart to drive to the beach, they brought us a new one within 5 minutes. Hotel has an excellent restaurant on site. The beach is on the other side of the island but w the carts, it’s a fun adventure getting there and having it all to yourself is worth it. Loved this place.

French Leave Resort is absolutely spectacular. The property is stunning and meticulously maintained—every corner feels like paradise. The staff? Simply amazing. Every single person we interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. The beach deserves its own shoutout: WOW WOW WOW. The golf cart rides down to the crystal-clear water were a highlight, and the water coolers for keeping our drinks cold were such a thoughtful touch. Most importantly, as kosher travelers, we were incredibly touched by how accommodating the staff was—especially the kitchen team. They went above and beyond to understand our needs and assist in every possible way. It made all the difference and turned a beautiful vacation into an unforgettable one. Can’t wait to return!

We have just left after a 6-night stay in an ocean front view villa. The staff were incredible and very accommodating. I was bitten by the no seems us snd the team provided with cream/ointment to help me. The private beach is fantastic, quiet and secluded. Often we had the beach for ourselves. The gym was ok for a Bahamian gym and the restaurant 1648 was good. A special Shout out to Kelly and Keith at the restaurant. We did lots of paddle boarding and snorkelling. Each villa had their own baggie/cart to move around. The only negative would be the condition of the beach furniture as it was not to the standard you would expect of such a hotel. They could have a shack by the beach providing drinks to their costumers and would be an added service to such a great resort. We would gladly go back

We stayed in the Royal Island house for a week at the beginning of March and had a fantastic experience. Beautiful and relaxing resort, friendly and accommodating staff, excellent location. Governors harbor is a couple minutes down the road and has a great vibe. Will come back.

We had considered staying at the resort but ultimately decided on a different option. Unfortunately, while visiting French Leave Beach, we witnessed an employee discard a plastic cup after lunch and leave it behind. This behavior does not reflect well on the resort’s brand. Please take pride in protecting your stunning country and natural environment!

On this magnificent property, every staff member goes above and beyond to make sure each guests has everything they need and want. Especially love the rustic road to the Caribbean beach.

THE FRENCH LEAVE SHOULD NOT BE REFERRED TO AS AN AUTOGRAPH PROPERTY During the recent Thanksgiving vacation, my family and I chose the French Leave in Eleuthera as our destination. We were sadly disappointed. When we arrived there were dirty fingerprints surrounding all the door knobs and light switches in my room. I tested to see if they were stains but easily wiped off with a wet Kleenex. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the management, they responded with, “We sent in a cleaning crew and took care of it.” That’s not acceptable. No hotel or resort waits until a guest complains. It should have been clean when we arrived. At the risk of sounding nitpicky, I will list some of the other issues: broken smoke detector in the room, terrible food service, beach covered in debris, undelivered room bill etc. The bottom line was lack of communication. We tried to plan activities and reservations ahead. There seemed to be no one to coordinate requests and make decisions. We later discovered that the GM had left and the property had been purchased by The Shaner Group. The acting GM made an attempt to correct things. Our accommodations were a lovely upgraded villa, but the above listed problems made it less than desirable. The GM asked me to list all the problems and gave me a $400 credit. My room for the 6 nights cost $6,635 (not all inclusive) one night was $1949. I have stayed in Hilton Garden Inns that were much cleaner and if there were any issues, they would provide a more generous compensation. I stopped going to the office because it was further ruining my vacation by having to present more issues. Even though the location was gorgeous, we would not return to this resort. I am just hoping that this review prevents future, potential guests from being disappointed.

Pineapple Fields forever (with apologies to The Beatles! ) Found our Caribbean heaven here in Eleuthera. Beautiful Condo, clean and modern c/w veranda and a rocking chair! The grounds are maintained with a lovely pool if feel the need for a change from the beach. Plus the restaurant Tippys, quite literally opposite, for an eating out on the beach experience.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay if you plan to travel around the island. Well-stocked and the generators are such a bonus. The pool was great, grounds are beautiful, and the housekeeping service was delightful when faced with the amounts of sand we'd inadvertently bring inside. Right by Tippy's, our favorite restaurant on the entire island!

I stayed for four days. The rooms were beautiful. Staff was friendly and always kept everything clean and tidy. Great hilltop view. Will definitely visit again.

***The bad and ugly*** If a clean, modern space is low on the priority list for you then this place will be a gem. Or if you're not prepared to clean the space yourself, please look elsewhere. The unit was filthy. Tons of crumbs, old food stains, food remnants, and dust balls are all over the unit. Long hairs were all over the bathroom and on the living room couch. There was a black ring around the upper rim inside the toilet as if the toilet hadn't been cleaned in months. If I can see it, the cleaner can see it too right? no? *sigh* Obviously this unit has not been cleaned in a very long time. Based on what we encountered, the unit may not have been cleaned properly in over a year or so. ***The Good*** 1. Property is quiet and tropical with lush trees all around. Units are situated in a way that provide privacy. I loved that because it felt like our own private oasis. 2. The views were beautiful from the large balcony that had comfortable furniture for outdoor dining or lounging. 3. Tippy's Restaurant and Bar is across the street right on the beach. 4. There is a full kitchen if you prefer to make your own meals. Or like in our case, to store our adult beverages. :-) 5. The bed was very comfortable. Good quality mattress and pillows. We slept very well. 6. In-unit washer and dryer. The 1 bedroom unit was very comfortable size-wise, for two people. Aside from the fact that it was *very dirty* upon check-in, and having to spend money to have the unit cleaned properly, we enjoyed our stay here. To the owners and managers of this property, please get your cleaning standards in order!

Aug 2-9 2023...Leaving today with tons of beautiful memories. My condo here is amazing.. clean, roomy and great location. Tippys is located right across the street for your meals, as is the beach. The grounds and pool are very nice. Quiet and serene. I'll be back again. A car is a must to see all the other beautiful beaches around..thank you Eleuthera and Pineapple Fields.❤️

It was a good place but had mosquito problems in the evening

The beach is amazing, a quick walk, quiet, and warm water. We had an 8 hour power outage during the trip, which was really frustrating, but I understand that in the future they will have installed generators at each room to minimize the pain from outages. The wifi was ok, but not perfect. People kept losing the wifi while in the rooms.

Always a great experience, however, they have a dress code and child policy that is not consistent, which is very disappointing. There were a number of families with kids eating after 7 pm and a barefoot guest walking through the dining area. Not the Dunmore we are used to experiencing.

We were really looking forward to celebrating our recent wedding at The Dunmore, a 5-star hotel we had heard such wonderful things about. Sadly, the experience was a letdown. Despite there being multiple empty tables, we were refused a table for two—not due to lack of space, but because of staffing shortages. We spoke to both the staff and a manager, but no one made any effort to accommodate us or offer a solution. As newlyweds simply wanting to enjoy a quiet dinner together, we were shocked by the lack of care and flexibility. For a hotel that prides itself on luxury and top-tier service, this was incredibly disappointing. It left a bitter impression on what should have been a beautiful and celebratory night.

Outstanding in every way measurable and unmeasurable way (such as the ocean water colors in turquoise and every shade of blue and the pink sand beach. The house staff is outstanding and Latoya is excellent. The homes to rent have outstanding views, beach access and beautiful pools. The restaurant has the freshest seafood imaginable. One of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at in the world.

The Dunmore is a very nice hotel comprised of cottage rooms, scattered throughout a lovely, Oceanside property. For what it is, it is very expensive and staff were not as welcoming or friendly as I expected. The staff are also not very prompt or attentive in terms of customer service and you have to very much be on Bahamian time, which is slow and even slower than a lot of other Latin and European countries, in my opinion. The food on property was quite yummy. There is free coffee and pastries at the bar in the morning. There was no service to be had at the pool or the beach when I was there, there was only one or two guys taking care of both locations, I was thinking maybe it’s not too much to ask that I can order a drink poolside for what was presented to us as a couple thousand dollar a night luxury resort. Also, half the property lost power for a couple hours at a time on a very regular basis, and that made it difficult to get ready for dinner time. I also heard stories about Water going out regularly, but thankfully that did not happen to us. Harbor Island itself is just about like every other Caribbean destination you may have been to where there is evidence of weather damage, construction repair, and the environment off property is significantly different economically than the environment on property. Don’t be sold a story about celebrities frequenting Harbor Island or the Dunmore being very upscale and exclusive. They are expensive and run of the mill Bahamas. The only efficiency I saw all week long was the way they processed my credit card. We would not recommend nor return to either.

Absolutely beautiful property. The Dunmore is one of Harbour Islands highlights. Super special location with delicious food, drinks and things to do. The best pickleball & tennis spot on the island. Whenever I am on the island I make sure to stop by.

The Dunmore on Harbour Island is easily our favorite beach destination, in no small part due to its proximity to the pink sandy beaches of Harbour Island's picturesque east side. The hotel sits on a hill overlooking the beach, only a couple of dozen steps up from the beach. The rooms are mainly duplex-style cottages, smallish and a little cramped. But you'll be spending most of your time at the beach or at the pool, anyway. The bathrooms leave a little to be desired -- an update would be nice, especially for the prices. That might be more of an issue for some travelers than it is for us. The staff is as friendly and accommodating as they possibly can be. And the food is simply great. While the menu selection is fairly small, each selection is so good that you may just get the same thing for every meal. Note that the prices are not cheap -- you are paying a premium not only for a luxury, topnotch meal but also a few markups on the cost of getting goods to the island in the first place. Manage your expectations on that and you won't be disappointed. Harbour Island, the Dunmore specifically, is turning into a post-Thanksgiving tradition that will surely endure for years to come.

The Dunmore is the most beautiful property I have ever been to. I’m well traveled, but their beach is the most beautiful in the world. The beach is wide and private (never seen it crowded). The sand is so soft and pink (no rocks or shells to jab your feet on). Most importantly, everyone at the Dunmore is so welcoming and makes you feel like family. Every time I’ve stayed here, I leave with friends and always look forward to coming back to make more beautiful memories. Well done, Dunmore!

We were only on the island for a short couple of days, but we are so happy we decided to stay at Greenwood Beach Resort for our weekend getaway. The location is beautiful, with endless pink sandy beaches, the perfectly located pool, and abundance of palm trees surrounding the property. There is internet in the common areas, but not the rooms themselves which was refreshing, it really allowed us to disconnect and enjoy being in the moment and appreciate where we were. Pauline was very organized and helpful with anything we wanted or needed to make our stay the best it could be. We did a kite surfing lesson with Antoine, and thanks to his patience and excitement to share his hobbies, both me and my husband were able to get up on the board and glide along on our own. He also put on a little magic show after dinner one night which was extremely entertaining and were still confused as to how he did any of the tricks! The food at Greenwood was some of the best we've had anywhere in a long time, and that is all thanks to Sean the chef. He is so creative with the dishes he made, personalizing each one to whatever the guest is looking for. He even went down to the beach one night to grab some fresh seaweed to make a homemade pesto that I had on pasta with steak, and it was so delicious. He really cares about what he does, and his energetic personality is an added bonus! We had dinner in a different location on the island one of our nights, and we found ourselves wishing we were back at Greenwood, because we knew we were missing out on some extra tasty food, live music, and good energy. The entire staff at Greenwood Beach Resort made our trip a unique and personalized experience, and for that we are so thankful and we absolutely will plan on visiting again!! Highly Recommend

Pauline & Antoine were amazing! The service they showed us was nothing short of exceptional. What we encountered was warm, attentive, and memorable. They both ensured we felt welcome and cared for. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal felt like a thoughtfully crafted experience—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Pauline made the most exquisite desserts and all made from scratch This resort exceeded all our expectations. The combination of outstanding service and incredible food made it a truly unforgettable getaway!

The Greenwood is by far the best resort on the island. Antione and Pauline are great hosts and very accommodating. Chef Sean definitely blew it out of the water. Each meal is a culinary masterpiece, everything fresh and flavorful. All around, a very clean and enjoyable stay. I would recommend the Greenwood to anyone and there are many more great reasons I will be returning again soon.

A little Gem on cat island, situated on the best beach on the island. Pauline and Antoine are great all-around hosts, kind and accommodating, providing great Snorkelling & Scuba Diving trips as well as being completely relaxed. The Kitesurfing here is superb, as Antoine is the best teacher we’ve ever had, only the coral can be a bit sketchy. Sean the Irish Chef serves a delicious lunch and dinner, making authentic and tasty dishes. We highly recommend visiting Greenwood if you’re on Cat Island.

Greenwood was our local resource for extra special food served and prepared by their new chef, Sean Jones. His food and presentation was amazing. He was entertaining and always smiling. Our food was fresh and tasty. I would recommend Sean Jones and his food to anyone visiting the Island. Call first to let them know you are coming. The beach and setting is out of a picture book. Pink sand and beautiful setting awaits you as you dine! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed!

SIMPLY AMAZING! The hosts, Pauline and Antoine, went out of their way to make our stay truly enjoyable. Antoine is the best kite surfing instructor out there—within just a week, we were able to glide effortlessly across the beach! Beyond that, there are plenty of fun activities by the beach. They even showed us how to open coconuts and more. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed, paradise-level getaway.

The setting at Kamalame Cay is gorgeous — no doubt about it. The rooms are private, spacious, and offer sweeping ocean views. Sunrise and sunset? Absolutely stunning. It looks like paradise. But the experience? Not even close. For $7,000 over four nights, I expected thoughtful amenities, excellent food, and a service culture that matched the luxury price tag. Instead: No in-room or bathroom amenities to speak of Food was meh at best — subpar, repetitive, and only two restaurant options Drinks lacked fresh ingredients and any real craft No green juice or coconut water as promised in the package The “premium all-inclusive” felt anything but Felt more like a high-end timeshare than a true luxury resort — transactional, not indulgent We came to be spoiled and completely pampered, and it just missed the mark Managers were kind and tried to help, but most of the service staff felt checked out By day two, I was ready to leave. By day three, I was wishing I had stayed home with Uber Eats and my own bed. The value just wasn’t there. As a friend perfectly said — Kamalame? More like Kama-Lame.

BEWARE! My Wife and I recently stayed for our honeymoon in November. There were some definite positives... The staff is friendly, the views were beautiful and the food was above average. The positives stop there. While the staff was friendly, they had zero follow up and they needed to be called and reminded multiple times before they took any action. Our first night there they did not have a golf cart available to reach our room which was quite far from the check-in. The staff offered to drop us off in their cart and we had a nice conversation on our 5 minute drive to the cottage. Unfortunately the golf cart broke down en route and we had to wait for some other guests to pass by and ask to hitch a ride hanging off the back of their cart. This was omen for how the trip was going to go. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful view of the ocean, the cottage is situated directly on the beach. Unfortunately, the day was downhill from there. The staff never delivered us breakfast and we had no way to reach the office due to the lack of golf cart. I called the desk and they said someone would bring a basket and that the golf cart situation would be cleared up shortly. It was around noon and we still had no food or transportation. I called again to check on the status of both, unfortunately the phone they gave us was out of minutes and now we had no way to communicate. We were completely cut off unless we made a 30 minute walk back to check-in. We opted to go to the neighboring cottage and borrow their phone to call and explain the situation. They finally resolved the situation an hour or so later. The next few days were hit or miss. There were some highs, the massage at the over water spa was nice, albeit overpriced. The food served at the bar and the restaurant were genuinely quite tasty. The complete lack of urgency and communication was too much to overlook, though. We requested insect repellent multiple times to no avail. The bugs at this resort are absolutely terrible! Our legs were completely riddled with bites. We both looked as though we had chicken pox. The staff took 2 days to supply us with soap for the shower, they never supplied us with beach towels even after calling multiple times, so we had to drive down there and wait until they gave them to us. Our golf cart was taken one of the nights we went to the restaurant and we had to wait for a replacement. Our neighbor had the same issue. Up to this point, the trip hadn't been bad. We both agreed that we would not be coming back, but the issues we experienced weren't bad enough to completely ruin our honeymoon, we still had quality time together, even if the tennis courts which we were looking forward to using were in a complete state of disrepair. Then on our final night of our trip, we were robbed. Literally. We had an early checkout the next AM and we're heading to bed early. Before we went to bed, we decided to have one last walk on the beach. One of the serious issues this resort has is the lack of security. To access the beach from the cottage, you must leave the back door unlocked, unless you want to crawl underneath the house to reach the beach. We thought nothing of it as the only people on the entire island were staff and a handful of guests. Well, someone was waiting for us to leave our cottage and ransacked the place once we stepped out. We were gone for about 15 minutes and came back to find my wife's wedding rings stolen as well as her ear pods and all of our cash. While we were checking the room in a panic, the thief was nice enough to throw our passports and other items that they couldn't get cash value for back on the porch. We immediately called hotel security. We talked through the entire ordeal and he put us in touch with island police and we gave our statements and asked for an investigation. The thief was likely hotel staff who knew our itinerary and that we had a 6AM flight back to Nassau and then to FL. We would be gone and out of their hair within 12 hours. I cannot prove it was staff, but I certainly would not recommend staying here.

The best thing about this hotel is how absolutely stunning and unspoilt the private island is. It is idyllic - you will struggle to find better beaches and they are totally empty and well maintained. Some things not so great: we planned various things - beach picnics and boat trip that were confirmed before arrival and on arrival they didn’t have our reservations and a result all these plans never materialised as the boat slots are booked up back to back. This is a problem as there’s only one boat person on the island and nothing else to do. Seemed to be a miscommunication error that many of the other guests had also (booked boat trips which were cancelled on arrival). The food I thought was very tasty - especially the lunch restaurant - but a lot of the dinner menu is unavailable each evening. They ran out of food on thanksgiving(!) so we ate nothing (at all) and were given no alternative, just told there’s no food. I think this is inexcusable. A family staying told us it had happened to them but they’d bought food with them to the island as they’d visited before and knew it could happen. Our picnic was also cancelled by the hotel and instead happened on sun loungers outside the room instead of at a private beach. The picnic offered poor value and wasn’t well put together. A staff member mentioned to us that theft had been an issue at the hotel. You must accept this property for what it is - many guests said they’d been coming for years and loved it, others said they’d never come back. You have to have a somewhat hippy mentality, go with the flow and accept that plans, menus etc are subject to change. Staff made their best efforts to accommodate us. There’s no WiFi, and the villas are very spaced out (you can’t walk to reception). The beaches and villas are absolutely stunning and it’s very quiet and peaceful. Somehow despite all of the above, now knowing what to expect, I would possibly return. It is a special place, that despite its faults was still an overall good experience.

Helpful Tips for Staying at This Hotel If you’re considering booking this hotel, here are some things to keep in mind based on my experience: 1. Accommodations & Cleanliness •    Check your room for ants upon arrival, especially in cabinets and near entryways. •    Inspect towels and bedding, as some may be stained or ill-fitting for the bed. •    The mattresses are quite uncomfortable—consider bringing a mattress pad if you’re sensitive to firm or springy beds. 2. Food & Dining •    Be cautious with food quality—I experienced discomfort after meals. •    If you order room service, request immediate pickup, as dishes may not be collected promptly, attracting ants and flies. •    Be prepared for potential shortages of basic items like breakfast syrup, which may be substituted without notice. •    The alcoholic beverages are overpriced and of poor quality. 3. Guest Services & Amenities •    There is no printed or digital guide with key resort details (meal times, activities, etc.), so ask upfront about schedules. •    Many service requests (like extra towels or toiletries) may not be fulfilled, so bring essentials with you. •    If you need water at dinner, clarify what will be served—I unexpectedly received a ziplock bag of ice water. •    No in-room phones—requests must be made through WhatsApp, which can result in delays. 4. Infrastructure & Maintenance •    The resort has a noticeable sewage smell in certain areas. •    There is no room key system, raising security concerns. •    Be prepared for golf cart issues, as they frequently break down or malfunction. •    The spa is outdated, and I would recommend checking it out before booking any treatments. •    In bad weather, entertainment options are limited since there’s no WiFi and few indoor activities. Final Thought: While the location is beautiful, the resort lacks proper management, maintenance, and service quality. If you decide to stay here, set your expectations accordingly and prepare for possible inconveniences.

Summary: Beware of theft issues!!! The views and the food are the only redeeming factors for this resort. The beaches were beautiful, and the food was delicious, albeit overpriced. The service was poor- very slow response times for simple requests for beach towels, transportation to the main office for meals (we should have been given a golf cart, however they were broken or had a shortage), and bath soap. Main negative— we were robbed late at night while there for our honeymoon. Our room (a beach bungalow) had a malfunctioning safe as well as a door into the bathroom from the outdoor shower that does not lock, permitting staff access at any time. In addition, accessing the beach requires you to leave your back door unlocked in order to re-enter. Even if you only step out onto the beach for a few minutes, do not leave anything you care about behind! We will definitely not be returning.

I don't often write reviews, but I felt compelled to after the absolutely disastrous experience we had at this so-called "luxury" resort. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was far from the standard they advertise. First of all, we were never given a tour or even a simple map upon arrival—just dropped off in the dark with no clue about where anything was. To make matters worse, the golf cart we were given to get to our rooms was already showing signs of a dead battery. When we flagged down the young staff, they assured us it was fine, and we proceeded to our rooms in the pouring rain. Of course, the cart died shortly after, and rather than offering assistance, the staff began ramming the cart to push it forward. This was not only unprofessional, but it was also dangerous. I had to sit in the back just to hold the luggage in place, and I was nearly hit by the cart multiple times. I can't believe how reckless they were. When we finally made it to our room, we noticed the fridge was broken and there was a "Happy Birthday" card on the dresser—even though neither of us were celebrating a birthday. We reported the fridge issue, and they promised to fix it, but after multiple requests over several days, it wasn't fixed until the day before our departure. By then, all the food had spoiled. What a waste of our time! But the golf cart problems didn’t stop there. It died again on the way to our event, and once again, the staff took forever to help us. We finally got a cart swap, but it was just another hassle in a long line of them. We also had a spa appointment that we booked two months in advance. When we arrived, we were told they were overbooked and to come back later. We returned that same day only to find they were still overbooked. The next day, we tried again—only to find the spa was closed entirely. We tried calling and texting the front desk, but no one responded. After showing up in person, we were told the spa staff had left for the day. Absolutely unprofessional. Housekeeping only cleaned our room once during our stay. And then, after they cleaned, they locked us out of the room. When we flagged them down for help, they refused to let us in, and we had to climb over the fence to access our outdoor shower. Are you serious? Water was scarce—no drinking water until our last day, and the restaurant was frequently closed. We also had no phone in the room, barely any cell service, and whenever we tried to contact anyone via WhatsApp, it was ignored. The staff in general were unhelpful and seemed to care less about the guests. We expressed our frustration to the assistant manager multiple times, but there was no resolution offered. When we finally followed up with them in December, they completely ignored our emails. I only heard back in January, and they claimed they comped our "incidentals"—but without any way of verifying what that even meant, it felt like a hollow attempt to placate us. On top of all this, there were false advertisements. The resort claims to have a pickleball court (it’s actually a construction site), and the tennis court looked like it was about to be sold. The Wi-Fi is nonexistent, and they advertised a hotspot for $70 a day—yet when we asked to use it, they said there were none available and none would be available for the rest of our stay. The safe in the room was broken, and the back door didn’t lock. There was a sign that read, "If you love it, lock it up," which is just sketchy and suggests there are issues with theft. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. This place is NOT a 5-star resort, and it’s not even close to being worthy of a "luxury" label. Do yourself a favor—avoid this place at all costs.

The location is beautiful but to be five-stars, it was honestly some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The resort staff does not try to inform or assist customers very much. It took over 24 hours just to get milk for coffee brought to our room. We had to call to put in the request several times. If you went to the dining areas, often, while standing in front of them to request assistance, they would stay on their phones, scrolling whatever, and then be annoyed when they realized that you were still there, waiting to get help or put in an order. When you would come to get a meal, and if they were looking to wrap up breakfast service or lunch service, I got eye rolls or eyes bulging out of their sockets, with them telling my husband and I that they close in 15 minutes. When we would try to order quickly, then they would not even come to the table to take the order and once they did, they would come back 20-30 minutes later to say that they won't be able to make something because we were "late". How are we late when we got there before you closed and you refused to come and take our order? One of the instances where we were late, it was because the housekeeping staff did not report they had broken something in the room to maintenance, we had to call a few times before it was finally reported, it took maintenance over an hour to fix the issue which made us late (maintenance admitted to us that housekeeping should not have just tried to act like they did not see the broken item and move around it, but instead was supposed to have reported it for handling). Even with us explaining ourselves, we were still mistreated. However, when another guest came TWO minutes before closing on another day, she was not told the kitchen was closing for breakfast nor was she denied ordering what she wanted. Needless to say, my husband and I were very upset. We were there for my birthday and before we came to the island, my husband tried to request excursion ideas and assistance from the reservation team. They sent him very few ideas but he proceeded to try to book one of them as it was my birthday. The write-up (that my husband showed me afterwards) said that we would have our own butler and would receive several items, private area, etc. Instead, they sent most of the staff to a private party which left us with no one and did nothing in the description. They then tried to charge us even though they admitted they would not be able to fulfill the requested private dining experience. I told them they must take it off our bill as they did not do anything to give us our dining experience. The next day, I spoke to an employee and she said "they did not send you our entertainment information" to which we replied, "no, what was that? We were not sent much and could not find it on your website!" Being spoken to like "well, why did not you do more?", when you do not work at the resort and could only go by what is offered to you by other resort employees or on the website, is not great way to treat guests at all. They could not even bill our all-inclusive package correctly! When we checked in, we gave them the credit card that we wanted to use for payment. We had explained that we forgot the other card we used had foreign exchange fees that we wanted to avoid. We were told that would not be an issue, the lady took the new credit card and "apparently" put it on file for use. When we checked out, my husband took out the card to pay the bill and the staffer said that they had it on file and they will charge his card and email us the bill. When I get the bill, which you get after you leave the resort, I see that they charged the wrong credit card. It took two weeks for them to fix it. Again, for a five-star resort for the money that you spend to stay, that claims to give top-of-the-line service to make all guests feel comfortable, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great beach! Small, calm, quiet, not full of crowds. They rent chairs for the day. Downsides: no restrooms, and no place in the beach to eat (it has very good restaurants in a walking distance).

Cable Beach in Nassau was absolutely beautiful! It was relatively empty, which made it even more relaxing. I would definitely recommend it — truly a dream!

It’s not a bad beach but the atmosphere is not the greatest. If you are negotiating jet ski rides or beach chairs, be very careful with the guys doing it. They aren’t to be trusted.

Great public beach with beautiful ocean views! The water feels just as good as it looks cool and relaxing the waves we’re pretty calm when we visited in early February. The water temp was a lil cooler but pretty easy to adjust to once you dive in. If you want good drinks go see Shantell she has a set up with drinks in freshly cut pineapples and you get to add as much or little alcohol as you’d like to them. You can get one fruit cup with 2 refills for $30 my favorite was the pina colada.

Took a cab to the beach from the port, great, clean beach from the cruise. However, the staff that rents out the chairs, tables and makes drinks will bamboozle you (blue covered canopy). Alex was great, attentive, helpful. Woman who seemed to be the boss wasn't very nice, didn't give change back ( tipped herself 10$) and was frequently yelling at others. Go, but be leary and ready to speak up for yourself.

We tried to go to this beach but realized that the majority of it is owned by private hotels and all inclusive a. There is one small area open to the left of Sandals but otherwise you cannot access or there is a lot of construction. I would recommend Love Beach, Goodman Park or Jaws Beach instead.

The water was lovely. The beach area is ample. As you enter the water there are a few drops so it gets deep quickly. The waves were very serene so you could dive into them with no risk of being tumbled. Sandals is right there so they have a small area of the water roped off. It does not in any way affect others. I still enjoyed the beach.

This is a nice place to visit as a tourist. It's right near the cruise port and it's family friendly. It provided a lot of good information about the subject matter and was interesting. It was not a mind-blowing experience, but it was a very pleasant way for my family to be in entertained unhurried way in a nice, cool facility for a while in the midst of a hot, crowded port day in Nassau. The price is definitely far better than what you'll find with most tourist spots in the city.

The Pirates of Nassau Museum is a really cool museum and well worth the visit. It’s compact but packed with fascinating exhibits that bring the golden age of piracy to life. The displays are engaging, the history is well presented, and it’s easy to explore at your own pace. Perfect for history buffs or anyone looking for a fun, educational experience in Nassau. Highly recommend stopping by!

I was excited and had a good time, but it isn't for all. Wife n youngest ran through, 11 yr old and I walked n looked at everything. They have pirate relics, scenery, ship, but they were looking to replicate some Disney allure and I was looking for raw history. Gifts could have been more pirate, with some good stuff for sale, kinda not impressed, but I had fun nonetheless. Maybe if they had a theme party area, people could plan parties from the cruise.

Our family loved this! It was easy to get to from the port, reasonably priced, and so cool! You get to walk through a ship and see several exhibits.

Loved the walk through of this place. Tickets were a good price for this mini adventure. Lots to see and read, take at least 45 minutes to go through this place. It had great history facts, culture, and the figures were put together very well! We got lucky we stumbled upon this place. Last walk through ends at 4:30 pm, not sure about any other days like the weekends. I didn’t want to post too many pics, you need to see it for yourself, you’ll be glad you did!!

The Nassau Pirate Museum is a fun, immersive experience that, for a moment, transports you into the golden age of pirates! It has a similar vibe to Disney’s Pirates ride — but with the added bonus of walking the set yourself, along an old quay and even aboard then through a full-sized pirate ship. The attention to detail and creativity throughout the museum is impressive and historically informative. With friendly staff, affordable admission, and just a short walk from the cruise terminal, it’s a must-visit for families!

This is a neat little spot. We have walked by here several times on our way from the Cruise Terminal heading to Junkanoo Beach and we finally decided to drop in. The price was reasonable and the displays were informative. Not really a museum in terms of actual historical artifacts, but still a good stop to fill a little time during a visit to Nassau.

I wanted to take the time to post a review to all the fine Folks that run this resort. This is one of the most professional and friendly staff's that I have had the pleasure to deal with. I spend about 200 nights a year in Hotels in the US mainland and these folks ranked with the best of them. I will say this and not in a negative way but more as a suggestion: The furniture and TV's do need to be upgraded but the items are serviceable and adequate. The maid staff are always willing to do whatever possible and the Front Desk Staff and Manager are really super People and always willing to do whatever they can to help you. I am looking forward to my next trip to Treasure Cay Resort.

Treasure cay was a beautiful launching point for our cruise. The location provided showers a bar that we could hang out at while we were waiting and good food to purchase a nibble on. Across the street what is located at beautiful white sand beach with milky Blue Water. We spent a number of hours there before and after our cruise trip just enjoying the water. Soon after our trip a hurricane hit this area and damage much of the property. I hope there are able to recover soon all best wishes to Treasure Cay.

I really enjoyed my stay here and puke recommend it but Treasure Cay it’s time for some room upgrades. Unfortunately my refrigerator was rusty on the outside, the room had minor dry wall issues, some small ants in the bathroom, and during a bad thunderstorm some water entered through the back slider. Do not get me wrong this is a great option in this area, the beach is amazing close by and the shops on the property have everything you need. The rooms just need refreshing that’s all.

The facility is okay. The views are beautiful, but the rooms need updating and maintenance. The faucets are old and broken, we moved because our first room had broken faucets to a room with leaking shower heads. It's lack of maintenance. The decor is old n worn. What do we pay maintenance fees for? Food, staff, pool, and general overall needs met well above expectations.

If you like powdery white sugar sand and aqua blue water with out crowds, than this is the ultimate beach location. Yes the rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and room service did a great job tidying up each day. The outdoor grill made for great barbecue while watching the boats come in an out of the marina. Dont expect much of a nightlife though there is some. Basically, this place is for waking up early, watching the sunrise followed by long days on a magnificent beach. Rent a golf cart or Scooter to see more of the island. Love this place!

I just got back to the states after spending my 30th birthday at Treasure Cay with my husband and two friends. It is absolute paradise. The beaches there are like nothing I've ever seen and I have never felt such warmth from locals while traveling! We went to see the pigs on no name cause and snorkeled around the reef, tropical fish are beautiful! I had relaxing days on the beach outside cocos with tasty and strong "Miami vice" frozen drinks. All the food was delicious. I cannot think of a better way to have brought in a new decade. Avis was extremely helpful for everything about our stay, and the bar staff was so much fun. At tipsy bar they have dancing and a DJ. I even swam with dolphins, a bucket list item since I can remember! We grilled fish that the guys had caught on a trip that day. Do bring a card from a major bank or cash, we have a credit union and didn't have any luck with our card at the ATM. There is a little breakfast spot that takes cash only and they have amazing eggs and grits and cinnamon buns! I'm already planning a return trip!

Little gem. There busy season is so relaxing' empty. It's such a joy not being surrounded by the crowds. The location is wonderful and grounds well kept. Unfortunately they lose power almost daily or 7 of the 8 days we were there. Food quality is fair at best but prices like NYC or Miami Beach.

Perfect place to be if you're looking for a vacation where you really want to get away and don't mind missing the modern conveniences. Don't expect chain restaurants or a lot of selection. There aren't any shopping malls here, and you won't find outlets either. There are only two towns of any decent size (Treasure Cay and Marsh Harbour) and they are a couple dozen miles apart. BUT the people are warm and welcoming. The food is good, and the beaches are the best in the world. Plus you can REALLY have the beach all to yourself. It's easy to find warm, shallow water and that turquoise blue that looks like a postcard is REAL. You can take a ferry or rent a boat to go to some neighboring islands for variety. This is the perfect place to do some contemplation, meditation and transformation. If you're looking for big action and parties, stay in Nassau.

Locals were the freindist of all the Bahamas! Still working on rebuilding, but the island has everything you would want and is beautiful.

So easy to get to with Silver Air it's a one hour jump to paradise.

LoL. This is my home. I gave up living abroad to be home where the stress is less. ABACO is the all quiet place relax and enjoy quality time for self and family. Just find it.

There are no words for how beautiful this place is and I'm praying for their recovery from the hurricane. It is must see fantasy!

The road looks like a bombed out road in a war zone and it’s shocking but yes there is a business back there. My advice is to check the satellite view on Google to make sure you know which way to go. Sammy the bartender is great! Food is good but pricey. Bees were nice.

Didn't stay here, just came for the bar and food. The bartender is hilarious and remembered us from 2 years ago. Drinks are always good. Puts a floater on the pina coladas. Great place to hit for a day. Wonderful beach in front of the place.

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at the stunning Sky Beach Club in Eleuthera, Bahamas, and it exceeded all expectations! Our group of ten, hailing from Chicago, had the most incredible time, creating unforgettable memories. From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as portrayed in the pictures online—truly a paradise! The villas were beautifully appointed and spacious, providing the perfect setting for relaxation and celebration. Each morning, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the turquoise waters that felt like a dream. Our adventures were equally amazing. For many of us, it was our first visit to the island, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We took a day trip to nearby Harbour Island, where we were mesmerized by the famous pink sand beaches. Walking along the shoreline, soaking up the sun, and enjoying each other's company was pure bliss! The staff at Sky Beach Club were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From arranging activities to recommending local restaurants, their hospitality made us feel welcomed and cherished. In summary, celebrating my 50th birthday at Sky Beach Club was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It offered everything we could have hoped for: beauty, adventure, and camaraderie. Great food and cocktails in an awesome setting. The food is always well-prepared and fresh. It's one of the few places on the island where you can get grilled (instead of battered and fried) grouper, which is a plus. Their pizza is also really good with a thin crispy crust and lots of cheese. The real draw is the pool, which is complementary access for anyone visiting . At the swim-up bar, there's the always smiling and friendly Sammy at the helm. His specialty cocktails are super tasty and all served up with a warm smile and cheery attitude. I have always enjoyed the meals there, but I sometimes feel like I paid a little bit too much for what I got. If you have any special requests on your order, be sure to repeat them. We ordered no sauce on both of our grilled grouper burgers, but received them with tartar sauce on both the top and bottom bun. To their benefit, they did take them back to fix the mistake, but the buns that were toasted originally came back straight up and not warmed at all.

We went for lunch and the place was just a normal restaurant and not what the Sky Club site had posted.

Good food and a great pool to swim in. Perfect place for the family! The road (drive way) into the property has deteriorated and is probably just as bad as the road to Lighthouse Beach…. The owners really need to have the road fixed with new asphalt. We can no longer drive our vehicle on this road.

Definitely a destination not to miss. Awesome spot to relax and enjoy some adult beverages. Sammy, the bartender, was cheerful and amazingly talkative. Didn't matter who you were or what you were ordering, he had a conversation with you regardless. So welcoming. The pool was warm and the hot tub steaming. The infinity edge was nice. Swim up bar a plus. However, removing one star from lack of towel service.

We experienced the park on a 42-foot catamaran. The water is pristine and you will never see such beautiful turquoise colors! We snorkeled and paddle boarded and explored some of the uninhabited cays. We spent about 4 days in the park. Absolutely breathtaking. This area is only accessible by boat.

Very beautiful place to visit. They do not have wifi and barely any cell service. Had to hike up the hill to the very top to get very little cell service. But, there's really no need for service because of the beauty it holds. If you go on a dinghy ride south of the visitor center, there is spot where there is this cave or tunnel. If you hit it at the right time and tide, it's a great spot for diving and body surfing. But have to be safe. Awesome place! Oh, and you might stumble across treasure hunts. (Only clue I'll give)

My favorite place in the Bahamas! Be sure to follow park protocols when visiting. All mooring balls are by assignment only and anchoring is only allowed in designated areas.

Incredible water! You can drift With your dinghy just outside the rock cut and see spotted eagle rays beneath you. The opportunity of a lifetime! Highly recommended. Watch for turtles!

Nice visitor center. Hopefully someday they will get a dive shop with rental equipment. The whale bones are neat. The employees are nice. The view is gorgeous. They had some neat rock Iguana shirts, I would have bought my dad one if they had his size, but they were out and not ordering more. I was interested in a visor from the land and sea park. The ones available weren't very cool and they were too small for my head. I suggest an additional style of visor.

Farmer's Cay and Staniel Cay School Comprehensive Schools (Exuma)camped in the park in February. It was an awesome two days. The trails were interesting and there were so many engaging activities. The area is absolutely pristine- land and sea. Additionally, the staff were personable and helpful.

An excellent place to see pristine water and wildlife. The mooring field is well protected for your boat and the snorkelling is truly remarkable. The beach is a terrific place to relax on supplies lounge chairs and read a book.
