Carlisle Bay is a luxurious beachfront resort in Antigua, offering a range of activities and amenities for guests of all ages. With a history dating back to 1962, the resort boasts stunning sea views from every room, two beautiful beaches, a top-notch tennis center, and exceptional dining options with an impressive wine cellar. The family-friendly atmosphere provides spacious beachfront suites with calming decor and access to various activities such as pickleball tournaments and diving school.
It’s not usually my thing to write reviews as time is a high priority to me but I really to feel it’s a priority to write one for Carlisle bay and the team there. It’s not that often you find a hotel that has an incredible culture, Carlisle Bay certainly has this at its highest level. We had the pleasure of coming with our little boy and he was treated like a prince from the moment we arrived. The staff at Carlisle Bay went above and beyond to ensure our family felt welcome and cared for. Ganja is incredible and is definitely a rising star for the hotel. From the warm greetings at check-in to the thoughtful touches in our room, every detail was meticulously planned to make our stay unforgettable. What truly sets Carlisle Bay apart is the genuine kindness and attentiveness of the team. They remembered our names, our preferences, and even our little boy’s favorite snacks. The kids' club was a dream come true for him, and it gave us the chance to relax and enjoy the stunning beachfront and luxurious spa and the gym. The dining experience was exceptional, with a variety of options that catered to every taste, including our picky eater. The fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the chefs' creativity made every meal a delight. Note: please attend the Thursday buffet, world class. When you try the corn try not to cry with happiness as it’s something else! Carlisle Bay isn’t just a hotel; it’s a sanctuary where you can truly unwind and create lasting memories. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, warmth, and impeccable service, Carlisle Bay is it. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special! PS the homemade pizza with pool side pizza oven, are as good as they are in Italy!!!! Pendleton’s

Stayed here and at Bluewaters, and honestly, there’s not much in it—they both have their strengths. If the beach is what matters most, this one wins hands down. The location is incredible, right on a stunning stretch of sand that really makes the stay. That said, if you’re after charm and atmosphere, Bluewaters just edges it. This hotel has loads of potential, but it could do with some refurbishment. But the best bit? Afternoon tea served to you on the beach. It honestly doesn’t get much better. A real standout experience that sets this place apart.

We stayed for 6 days in this hotel in Antigua. We stayed at suite 12 - the suites are huge ! We will definitely come back; the rooms are huge , new , modern and clean. the staff are amazing , every each person is so kind to you and make you feel like home. The location is the best , with amazing private beach. Kids and family friendly- including nanny services, kids club with great activities for kids. Very good food and restaurants- especially the Asian restaurant. The staff is there for you also when we needed a doctor consultation for one of the kids , they take care same day and sending a taxi to pharmacy for the prescriptions, checking on it every day. Excellent service.

From the moment we arrived, we knew that we were among a team who love what they do.Greeted at the airport & driven to the resort, everything was organised in advance. The process of going through customs & baggage claim, chaperoned by a Carlisle Bay representative was seamless. We were greeted on our evening arrival by Kevonne, a lovely young man who got us set up in our room & made sure that nothing distracted us from our first dinner reservation. We settled quickly in our beautiful beach access suite & were escorted to Indigo to meet Kareem, a wonderful host & Michael, the sommelier, who was always smiling, gracious & fully engaged with our needs. The menus across the restaurants; Indigo, East & Ottimo, give you a broad selection with something for everyone. From your favourite salads, pasta dishes, pizzas, sushi, steaks & burgers, our only concern was not to consume too much. We enjoyed an all-inclusive stay & would highly recommend it. At Indigo, we fell in love with the staff. After a mere 48hrs, they were on first name terms w/ our entire family & Georgier, Leanne, Shantez, Jerica & Audicia, really did represent a highlight of our dining experience. Nothing was too much & the service could be described as nothing short of exceptional. Somewhat awkward subject is how much service represents too much or too little?! On an all-inclusive experience, you want to be afforded enough attention so as not to feel neglected, but you also don't want to be bothered unnecessarily. At CB, we always felt that the staff were attentive at all the right times. They were discrete & always sensitive to our 'private' conversations or family moments. We should note that our beach service from Len, encapsulated this perfectly. He was always there when we needed something, never hovering, never missing for long periods. As a team, the staff understood our needs perfectly, and as much credit as the individuals deserve in this regard, the management are also worthy of immense praise & credit. East is the Asian dining experience & the choice & quality is again exceptional. Michelle was a wonderful host, Jerica & Samaya became friends who made us excited about going back. Michael, the sommelier, seemed to be everywhere, bringing a smile to our experience and even encouraging our little boy, to eat his broccoli. Which he did. The staff have left an indelible impression on my family & I that will last as long as memories of the beautiful geography of the Bay itself. On that note, the waters are calm & clear. In march, the weather was perfect & the occasional rain worked wonders to cleanse the air & give you a break from the otherwise perfect heat & slight humidity. The tennis facilities & tennis coaching are excellent, no matter your skill level. There are paid lessons & complimentary group clinics. The kid's club (for 3+), is an incredible resource. Leaving your kids can be tricky, but the staff at kid's club were just as special to our children as the other staff elsewhere had become to our entire family. The Jetty Grill is also an incredible dining experience & though it is adult only, there's a weekly bbq w/ a live calypso band where children are welcome. The water sports team are outstanding. There are paid experiences, but canoes, pedalos, snorkels & masks are readily available for free on a first come first served basis. There are so many members of the team that I have failed to mention, but one we cannot forget is Vida from housekeeping. She was able to restore our suite to the check-in condition. Not just a daily turn down service, but incredible pride & attention to detail. Every evening, she made the idea of returning back to the suite a complete pleasure. We have had a beautiful experience at CB & as noted, aside from the magical culture & geography of Antigua, CB have done an exceptional job of bottling all of these elements for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. One we hope, as our family grows, we will be able to experience as many times as we possibly can.

We spent a week at Carlisle Bay Resort and was blown away by the beauty, service, and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty—greeting us with chilled towels, tropical drinks, and warm smiles. The location is absolutely stunning. Nestled between lush green hills and a calm, turquoise bay, the resort feels private and peaceful. We stayed in a Bay Suite, which was perfect for a romantic escape—spacious, beautifully designed. Waking up to ocean views and sipping coffee on our terrace was a highlight of every day. Dining was exceptional across the board. Indigo on the Beach served fresh, flavorful dishes in a relaxed beachfront setting, while East was a more refined experience with standout Asian fusion flavors. We also loved Ottimo! for casual poolside lunches—especially the wood-fired pizzas. Service throughout the resort was impeccable. Everyone, from housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to ensure our stay was flawless. We also appreciated the thoughtful division between family and adult-only areas, which helped maintain a peaceful atmosphere. If I had to find a minor critique, it would be that some areas of the resort—like parts of the pool deck—could benefit from a little refresh. But that’s honestly nitpicking. The overall experience was world-class. I have been here 5 times … Would I return? Absolutely. Carlisle Bay is the perfect blend of relaxed luxury, natural beauty, and five-star service. Highly recommend for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in paradise.

I am very disappointed with my stay. The cost of the hotel is far too high compared to what is actually offered. You pay more than 1000€ per night and , if you consider this a leading hotel of the world, oh well, we’ve stayed in hotels less expensive and want better. The water pressure in the room is very weak, and the temperature constantly fluctuated—either burning hot or freezing cold. The hotel itself, including the room and furniture, is in serious need of renovation and improvement. To make things worse, we waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes , almost 2 to be precise, to be served at the Italian restaurant, which was completely unacceptable. When we asked why it was taking so long, they informed us they have received lots of requests, but everyone that came after us, was served first. The experience did not match the price at all.

This is a wonderful location in Antigua, specifically great for families with young children. Our almost 2-year-old had a blast, which is our main barometer for a successful vacation these days. The Kids Club is great, with lots of toys (especially cars) in an air-conditioned setting, as well as a small splash pool, a pretty playground on sand, plastic scooters and all sorts of games and classes, with a very sweet group of caretakers who are lovely with the kids. The resort itself is situated on a paradisiacal beach with lazy water lapping in and out, perfect for floating, swimming, daytime snoozes with a paperback and solid rest at night. Some further breakdown of our experience: Pros - beautiful location with oceanfront patio suites, calm waters and a walkable beach; friendly atmosphere and well-kept grounds with lush plants, pathways and a koi pool; genuine, welcoming and helpful staff dedicated to customer service, who always stop to talk and joke with children; the suites are large and they are very well-cleaned each day, enjoy the small touches like a little water pool for dipping feet, free dried fruits, a fancy coffee machine; excellent breakfast with a view at Indigo and a warm breeze (daily smoothies, omelette and avocado toast were the go-tos); free kids’ pizzas at their Italian restaurant during the day; the Asian restaurant is the best choice for dinner, as dinner at Indigo left a little to be desired; afternoon iced tea with tiny sandwiches and cookies; a solid gym with a second floor setting and new equipment. We didn’t try the spa but it looked sleek and restful. Cons: bit of a drive from the airport (40 minutes) but worth the ride; it is expensive and the food is overpriced, I’m talking New York City+ expensive for most of the menu items, so that is something to consider. Likely the case at most upscale resorts though. The room, bathroom and bed are nice, but don’t expect St. Barth’s glitz or anything - I personally enjoy the more minimalist white-walled style. The outstanding location, picture-perfect beach, kids club, unique perks, and truly wonderful staff are the reasons to choose this resort.

Cocobay Resort in Antigua is an adults-only, all-inclusive retreat located on the west coast. The resort features charming pastel cottages nestled on a hillside, offering privacy and a romantic atmosphere. Guests can choose from four categories of rooms, each with updated plantation-style decor and amenities like hammocks on the porch. Cocobay boasts two restaurants and three bars, as well as unique floating meals served in trays and boats at a private pool.
My fiance and I just got back from our honey moon at cocobay resort! Oh my god amazing!!! Everything was magical, at first I was concerned about the reviews saying it only had one restaurant but!!! You are fed sooo much it’s a full breakfast, three courses for lunch, 4 courses for dinner everyday the menu changes but there is a ton of options to choose from! There is a bar that serves paninis and another that has bar bites! There is a cute cafe! The rooms are clean and the staff is so amazing they even cleaned the hair out of my hair brush!!! There is so much to do the island is so safe and fun! The view is stunning! I can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!!! I’m so grateful for the amazing staff they made us feel like family!!! Definitely book this vacation!!! If you do go bring sunscreen and bug spray the mosquitoes loved my blood not my husbands lol but deff bring it!!! And cash to tip the staff and spending cash to buy cute stuff from the locals on the beach!

My wife and I got married here in 2012 which was the absolute best experience all around. We stayed 14 days and felt like royalty the entire stay. Fast forward to 13 years later coming back to antigua for our anniversary along with our daughter we had to stop by coco bay. Had dinner last night and again was blown away with every aspect of our experience. Can't recommend enough and can't wait to plan our next trip.

There is ONE restaurant on the whole resort that is all inclusive that you MUST make reservations for breakfast lunch and dinner. Because it’s outdoor eating, at breakfast and lunch there are SOOOO many flies you can’t enjoy your food. The meals are very small proportions. You almost have to order double the servings. The menu is limited, any seafood or steak you have to pay extra out-of-pocket. You CAN NOT eat whenever you want. The morning I was scheduled to leave. I had three hours before my shuttle. Pick me up. The front desk will not give me any more bottled water. They told me they didn’t have any anymore and offered me water from the faucet. Then I watched them hand out water to another guest. The view and scenery is amazing and the coffee shop is top-tier!!! The beach is really nice without the rocks that would hurt your feet, just sand. Better food and dining options would have made this place perfect.
Marvell S — Google review
Not sure how this place does not have 5 stars. I was absolutely thrilled with my trip here. My girlfriend and I stayed 5 nights in a cottage with private pool and it was amazing. The pools had amazing views, the food was top tier, the drinks were great and the staff were incredible. This is a romantic trip of relaxation, views and beautiful weather. If you want partying go to the DR. I would recommend bug spray but that was hardly a negative to affect the trip. The merchants on the beach once you say no, leave right way we never felt bothered. The beach was warm, clear and beautiful. Spent countless hours there and even snorkeled and saw some fish. I cannot wait to be back!!

Cocobay Resort is one of the best places I have been lucky enough to visit and I would go back in a heartbeat. The property is gorgeous with breathtaking views of the beach. The quality and variety of the food is also top tier. But what really makes Cocobay is the wonderful team of people who keep everything running. Thank you to Nolica, Sasha, Glenda and Ariel for making our stay unforgettable. I’d also like to give a special thank you to Kemlin for being incredibly helpful and literally going above and beyond with accommodating and assisting with all of our requests.

After five trips here, in different cabins, we love Cocobay. It's our happy place to visit, if only we could live here in Antigua! Staff is super friendly and attentive, and the resort offers lots to do here, plus assistance booking excursions.

This hotel have such beautiful views and definitely for couples. Let's start with arrival: Upon arrival we pulled our car up to the front where our bags were taken and so was the car to be parked for us. We check in online so all we did was give our name. We were greeted with a glass of rum punch. We were then asked if we wanted to head over for lunch or go straight to our room. We chose lunch. Room: The rooms are little individualized cottages, you can either choose the garden room or the pool room. Either way the views are beautiful. Be advised THERE ARE NO TVs. They want you to unwind, soak up nature and focus on the person you came with. The bathroom doors can open while you shower for a real island vibe. You can even order coffee, pastries or a smoothie from the front and they'll deliver it to your little mailbox. Food: Food is Ala carte and not many options just a switch out and slight rotation. However, the food was delicious. Drinks: The best drinks I've had at any All Inclusive resort. Customer service was great as well. We were greeted by every staff. I did enjoy the service from the breakfast staff more than the night though. This place is very quiet so if you're looking for night life or to turn up this is not your place. Con: All rooms have a minibar it would be nice to have them filled with juice and water.? If you're looking for something quiet, intimate and serene this is your place. Lastly there is a mandatory tax charge upon departure per guest.

Galley Bay Resort & Spa is an adults-only, all-inclusive seaside retreat with four restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool, and a spa. Nestled between the ocean and a vast lagoon, it offers a serene sanctuary for honeymooners. The beachfront suites provide a stripped-back yet luxurious experience with nature at your doorstep. Guests can enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding as part of the all-inclusive package.
We spent our honeymoon at Galley Bay Resort in Antigua, and it was truly everything we dreamed it would be—and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace and relaxation. It’s hard to describe just how beautiful and serene this place is until you experience it for yourself. The resort is stunning—the lush tropical landscape, the quiet beaches, the sound of the waves right outside our suite. Every detail felt intentional, from the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtfully prepared meals and impeccable service throughout our stay. We spent our days unwinding by the water, enjoying the delicious food, exploring the property, and simply soaking in the moment. It was exactly what we needed after our wedding—a true escape where we could just be. The staff made everything feel effortless, and the atmosphere was calm, romantic, and completely stress-free. We’re so grateful for the memories we made at Galley Bay. If you’re considering it for your honeymoon or a special getaway—go. You won’t regret a single second.

We have always considered Elite Island Resorts to be among the very best in the Caribbean. This was our second visit to Galley Bay, and what was already good became excellent. The location is breathtaking, and the staff are among the warmest and most professional in Antigua. From management to housekeeping, activities, pool staff, bar, and restaurant teams, the service is consistently outstanding. The cuisine is exceptional, and the overall resort experience is truly first-class. As loyal guests for over 17 year, spending more than £250,000 on over 20 visits across their Caribbean properties we were completely shocked to receive a personal email from the CEO when trying to book a return visit to Galley Bay in 2026. Not only was that booking refused, but he also authorised the cancellation of our October 2025 reservation at Hammock Cove (Antigiua) , with no explanation other than a brief note from our booking agent saying that out booking had been cancelled. We also received an email for the COO saying that they strongly believe that our resorts offer guests a wonderful all-inclusive island experience, and the vast majority of our guests have a terrific time with us. That being said, there is no one size fits all when it comes to holiday travel, and no single resort or resort group is perfect for everyone. To that end, we simply feel that our resorts are not the best fit for your future holidays… We wish you the very best with your future travels—even though those travels will not include our resorts. After years of loyalty, this response left us stunned. In my personal opinion, Elite Island Resorts might be engaging in some form of customer profiling, possibly using social media, and if you don’t fit their preferred profile, you might suddenly find yourself uninvited to return. That said, I cannot fault the quality of their resorts, as they are truly first-class.

After four visits to this island and stays at several other resorts, I can say without hesitation—this one is the best. From its unbeatable beachfront location to its warm, welcoming atmosphere, everything about this place is first class and worth every penny. 🏖️ Best Beachfront on the Island No elevators, no towering buildings—just charming rooms that open directly onto the waterfront. You wake up to the sound of waves and step out into paradise. The beach and pool areas are constantly patrolled by attentive staff offering drinks, making relaxation effortless. 👨‍🍳 Exceptional Staff & Management The heart of this resort is its people. A special shoutout to Vincent Andrew, whose familiar face from a previous resort was a welcome surprise at Galley B. His presence and professionalism added a personal touch to our stay. Chef Gavin, a Michelin-starred talent, went above and beyond to make my daughter’s white coat celebration truly special. His culinary artistry and gracious demeanor made every meal unforgettable. Mr. Henry took the time to understand my concerns as a proud father and offered thoughtful ideas to honor my daughter’s achievement. That kind of care is rare—and deeply appreciated. 💫 Gratitude to the Dream Team Huge thanks to Risa and Vaughn for their warmth and attention, and to Chelsey, the all-star bartender who kept the good vibes flowing. Every staff member was genuinely committed to making our visit enjoyable. 🍽️ Food, Rooms, and Service – Top Tier From the gourmet dining to the immaculate rooms and world-class service, this resort sets the standard. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to celebrate life’s special moments. Book a catamaran(Wala Dali) and ATV with 268Buggies

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Experience at Galley Bay, Antigua! Our stay at Galley Bay Antigua was truly magical from start to finish, and our anniversary dinner was an evening we’ll treasure forever. Everything was absolutely perfect — from the setting to the service to the food, which was without a doubt the nicest meal we’ve ever had. It was cooked and presented by real professionals who clearly care about what they do. A huge thank you to Dasani, who looked after us so wonderfully on our special night. He’s such a genuine, kind person and an absolute credit to Galley Bay. The whole evening felt effortless and full of joy thanks to him. We’re also so grateful to Nadia for arranging the evening and making it so special, and to Anya, who has been our point of contact since earlier this year. She’s been so lovely and thoughtful every step of the way — a truly special person who made us feel like old friends rather than guests. There are so many others we want to mention — Dayton, Aliah, and many more — every single member of staff made us feel cared for and welcomed. The warmth, smiles, and attention to detail from everyone really set Galley Bay apart. We left feeling relaxed, spoiled, and incredibly grateful for such a wonderful experience. Galley Bay isn’t just a resort — it’s a place that touches your heart. We can’t wait to return! 💕🌴

We wanted to try our first all inclusive resort and found Galley Bay through Costco Travel. It has absolutely set the bar high for our future expectations. The location is beautiful with a calm beach right outside most rooms. Their service is amazing, for example: us asking if Corona was available and finding out it wasn’t, only for someone to show up a few minutes later with a six pack! Everyone working here is friendly and helpful, and they truly made the experience. Shout out to Annika from guest services for her consideration, Mike Ray from dining for his wonderful recommendations, Romeo for the awesome hobby cat tour of the bay, and Rogers from Bo Tours for his hospitality and humor. Thank you for a wonderful stay! 🌴☀️🏖️

This is our second visit to Galley Bay. We came for our honeymoon back in 2021 and loved it so much, we returned and don't want to leave! The weather has been a bit hit and miss but even with the showers we've had an amazing time! This resort and spa is in such a beautiful place! The staff are so happy to help, the food is incredible and you feel really looked after! Our second visit has been just as good as the first and it certainly won't be our last! Thank you again to everyone at Galley Bay for a wonderful holiday!

We’ve just returned from our third visit to Galley Bay, a resort we’ve previously adored. While we still had a lovely, relaxing week in this stunning setting, we left with mixed feelings and, sadly, some doubts about returning for a fourth time. The Positives: Galley Bay remains an island paradise. The beach is absolutely beautiful; immaculate, peaceful, and perfect for swimming every day. We loved having our own sun loungers right on the beach, and there were always plenty of sunbeds and towels available. The sunsets were spectacular, and the grounds are breathtaking, filled with tropical flowers and well-maintained gardens. We stayed in Room 11, a single-storey superior beachfront at the end of the block. It was gorgeous, with the added bonus of a private side patio and rocking chairs—a perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset watching. Housekeeping was efficient, and the in-room fridge was restocked daily. Most of the food was very good, and the spa experience was excellent; the treatment and the spa staff were both top-notch. Galley Bay continues to be a wonderful choice for total relaxation. The Negatives: That said, we couldn’t help but feel a general decline in the overall atmosphere compared to our previous visits. Perhaps it’s the low season, but the service felt noticeably less warm and attentive than before. On past trips (one also in August), we never felt this level of disengagement from staff. While not everyone was indifferent, the overall vibe seemed more lacklustre than we remembered. Not all restaurants were open daily during our stay, which was a bit disappointing and limits the meal options significantly. Fortunately, we did get to enjoy a lovely meal at Ismay’s for the repeat guests’ dinner. We also had an issue with the bed in our room, it was far too soft and uncomfortable, making sleep difficult. When we raised it with guest services, we were told it was a brand new mattress, and a topper was added, which helped a little. While action was taken, we were made to feel awkward for bringing it up, which was a shame, especially as we’ve always slept so well here in the past. Additionally, the bathroom was starting to show signs of wear and could benefit from some refurbishment. The coffee shop was another small let-down. We never managed to get a proper iced latte, and on more than one occasion they were undrinkable (including one made by simply adding ice cubes to a hot latte). One other unfortunate downside was the persistent noise from jet skis on some days, coming from a nearby resort. While this isn’t under Galley Bay’s control, the constant revving up and down the waterway just off the beach disrupted the peaceful atmosphere the resort is known for. At times, they came uncomfortably close to swimmers and snorkellers, which was both noisy and potentially dangerous. In Conclusion: We still have a deep affection for Galley Bay. The location is magical; stepping out onto the beach from your room is something truly special. But for the high price point, we left feeling a little disappointed this time around. As much as it pains us to say it, we may need to explore somewhere new next time.

Blue Waters Resort and Spa is a family-owned retreat nestled in a private bay on the northwestern coast of the island. The colonial-style bedrooms are elegantly furnished, some with private terraces or balconies, while larger villas cater to families. With three beaches, four bars and restaurants, and activities like reef snorkeling and boat rides, there's something for everyone. The resort boasts 17 acres of tropical gardens, three freshwater swimming pools, and numerous facilities for both adults and children.
5/5 stars! 🌟 I'm so impressed with this place! The waterfront views are stunning, and the atmosphere is perfect for families and groups. The staff is friendly and welcoming, even with babies in tow! 🤱‍♀️ The food is exceptional, and everything about this restaurant screams quality. I'm already planning my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Don't hesitate to book your next holiday dinner here - you won't regret it! 😊

A tranquil quiet resort spread over the northwest beach area of Antigua. The resort has a number of pools, and ample dining spaces. Breakfast is amazing, with a superb view of the sea. Rooms and suites are spacious, with amenities and almost all of them have picture perfect views. Staff are smiling and relaxed and make you feel like slowing time down. Keep up the good work.

One of the most memorable vacations I’ve ever had! Blue Waters Resort and Spa exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented at every meal. The service was equally impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Every detail, from the ocean views to the relaxing ambiance, made this stay unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!

We were not guests of the hotel but visited one evening from another resort for dinner for my partner's birthday. All of the staff who served us, both in the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The cocktails were great and the Caribbean barbecue at the Reef Restaurant was delicious - the ribs in particular were amazing! The ambience sitting out over the water with a live band playing made for the perfect birthday meal, and the complimentary cake for my partner was a special touch. Would definitely love to return on our next visit to Antigua!

Beautiful resort in stunning gardens with wonderful views. Slightly isolated for me personally. Rooms were lovely and we had a stunning view from our huge balcony. Good was a bit samey over a liner stay and more variation would have been nice. Good and drinks are on the expensive side in the hotel.

Blue Waters delivers a luxurious Caribbean escape with just about everything you'll need. From the beautiful views to the amazing hospitality, they deliver on all fronts. Zavier at the Palm's restaurant is definitely an asset. Met him at dinner and asked for sweet white wine and his response was that it's not on the list but he can make one for us. And he made us some of the best tasting sweet white wine 👌🏾 I was suprised to see him at breakfast the next morning and again for dinner, when I asked how come he's been on so long; he said "I love my job" Endless beach, pools & cocktails - still deciding?

Unfortunately, value does not connect between the prices at the Blue Water Resort and the quality of food, drink, and services. Here are some example pricings: cocktails - $18 USD, Blue Water Hamburger -$30 USD, Red Strip beer $11 per pint, Saturday bbq at only restaurant available -$75pp. These prices do not include the additional service fees and taxes which amount to ~20%. Room service as well incurs a $15 fee regardless of order... so I found myself hiking to carry a tray with burger and beer to my room just to eat on my arrivall to close out a 30hour day on my side. From a service perspective, on departure, I called for a cart to carry luggage to reception which also never arrived. I certainly could write more, but I will summarize by saying the experience was very hit and miss and I would rank it a four star experience trending toward 3 stars. Some of the staff were absolutely awesome, but on the whole it felt pretty average when considering quality and pricing.

Posh, gorgeous, and attentive. This is THE resort to go to if you want a high-class, comfortable vacation experience in Antigua. No screaming music, no partying 20-somethings. Just smooth steel pan by the pool, excellent gourmet food (& drinks), stellar ocean vistas, and the friendliest, most welcoming staff (who remember you!). If you've been to Rosewood on Virgin Gorda, this is sort of the Antigua equivalent (although a bit smaller). There are tennis courts (with pickleball lines) that are open 24-7 upon request and no court fee. When you arrive, you're greeted with a local cocktail and your bags are whisked away while you sit comfortably and wait for your check in to be completed. The restaurants all have gorgeous views and good food (although the menu in The Reef will feel repetitive if you eat there for lunch every day). There are tons of little secluded spots with chairs and tables throughout the property where you can avoid any crowds. And there are multiple pools (one is adults only, but we didn't have any trouble with disruptive children since the type of people who vacation here generally keep watch on their kids) and bar service at most of them. There are lots of lounge chairs beachside and poolside (so getting one isn't as hard as at other resorts with the mega-pools). And the pools are heated, even in the dead of summer (important to me, who hates chilly water). The sunsets are beautiful and every room has an ocean view (or you can rent a full-on house and get a personal pool). The roll-top bathtub in the standard suites is more of a "sitting" (soaking) tub -- you can't really "lie" in it unless you're child-sized, but it's still nice to have as an end-of-day relaxation spot. This resort is definitely family friendly, which I usually avoid (I have no children, nor tolerance for their chaos), but even with little ones around most of the time, the atmosphere was still peaceful and enjoyable. The spa is lovely, scenic, professional, and respectful -- exactly what you would expect from the high price tag. The all-inclusive fee is worth it. Even with basic eats and drinks on the bed & breakfast plan, you will pay more than the daily AI rate, so just upgrade and stop worrying about how much you're spending (at $25 USD a drink, it adds up fast). This place is pricey for sure, but it's worth it. We spent 3 nights here before doing a 7-day catamaran tour around the island, and I definitely missed the comfortable air conditioning and service once we left. Would definitely stay here again.

Nestled on the west coast of the island, Hermitage Bay is a luxurious 5-star all-inclusive beach resort offering top-notch amenities and exceptional services. The resort provides on-site pre-departure testing and safe-to-fly certificates for guests' convenience. With spacious standalone suites scattered along the beach, in the garden, or up a hillside, each with stunning sea views, guests can indulge in luxury and privacy.
The absolute perfect beach resort in every way. - The resort setting is postcard-perfect and exactly as it looks online with near unbroken nature, a bay with calm clear water, and a reef perfect for snorkeling. - The cottages are private, clean, with a large partially covered patio great for lounging with private plunge pool. - The service is unparalleled even compared to other hotels and resorts at this price point. Much of the staff were long term employees, genuinely friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. - The other highlight of the stay was the food. I’m always hesitant of all-inclusive food, but every meal exceeded expectations. Lots of local ingredients were used, and menus rotated enough to stay interesting for a week. Afternoon sushi was a notable highlight.

From the moment we arrived at Hermitage Bay, we knew we had chosen the perfect place for our honeymoon. Every single detail was flawless. The service was beyond 5-star — every staff member was so friendly, kind, and genuinely warm, making us feel not just welcomed, but truly cared for. The food was exceptional: every meal felt like a fine dining experience. Each lunch and dinner offered unique specials, and the flavors spoke for themselves. The resort’s commitment to using fresh, organic ingredients straight from their own garden made every bite unforgettable — you can taste the difference. Our villa with the plunge pool felt like a dream. Waking up to panoramic views of the turquoise sea, sipping coffee with the breeze drifting through, and watching the sun glisten on the water was pure magic. The beach was pristine, the sand soft, and the crystal-clear water inviting at any time of day. There was so much to do — or not do at all. Whether we were relaxing under the palm trees, swimming in the sea, or enjoying espresso overlooking the ocean, every moment was about slowing down and soaking up the beauty around us. Hermitage Bay isn’t just a resort — it’s an experience. It’s romance, tranquility, and luxury all woven into one breathtaking location. We are so glad we picked this place for our honeymoon and will cherish these memories forever.

For our second night we were moved to a quieter room. If you like to before 10:30pm, avoid rooms near the pool. Original review: We are being kept awake by loud music. The windows in our room don’t close so we can hear it full volume. I assume the non closing windows are also why the air conditioner doesn’t work well. If your idea of luxury includes good sleep I’d look elsewhere. This is despite telling the employee at check-in that we wanted to get to sleep early. On the other hand the food and location are decent. I’d include other details, but they’re not relevant to a hotel that keeps you awake.

If you’re on the fence about where to go in the Caribbean, stop searching—this is it. It’s been weeks since our trip to Hermitage Bay and I still daydream about being back there almost daily. We went in mid-August, not long before they shut the resort down for the season. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather was amazing. Temperature was warm but comfortable. Arrival- The transfer from the airport was just okay—the roads in Antigua, like much of the Caribbean, are bumpy. But the second those gates opened, we stepped into a different world. Upon arrival you’re greeted with drinks and an overview of the property while overlooking the beach. Every staff member was always so warm and friendly. Check-in was smooth. We were starving from the travel, so opted to eat off the all-day “snack” menu and it immediately set the tone for the quality of the food. We started with burgers and tacos from the all-day menu, and even those casual dishes ranked among the best we’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. That first bite set the tone for what turned out to be the best overall dining we’ve ever experienced at any resort. Knowing we were going to be worn down from traveling, we opted to take a complimentary in-suite breakfast the following morning. It was great to just wake up and walk out onto our porch and eat a multi-course breakfast overlooking the beach. Beachfront villas don’t have plunge pools, but the ocean is your pool—and the convenience of stepping right out onto the sand, plus being close to the bar and restaurant, made it perfect. Privacy wasn’t an issue at all, since the resort is so intimate (only 30 villas total, and during our stay, just 32 guests on property). Ours was actually just the second villa over, so we initially were concerned about a lack of privacy with people walking by to go to the bar/pool/restaurant, but the small crowd made that a non-issue. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves most days, with 2-3 other couples being out there. We used the pool more than I expected, not much, but while we waited for snacks and drinks. It was never crowded either, with us being the only couple in it all but once. My wife and I often commented that it was almost like we had the resort to ourselves. The only time you would see a lot of other guests was at dinner, and it still never felt crowded. I rented a Jeep for a day to explore the island, concierge handled everything. Very smooth. We took the Montserrat Volcano tour with Calvin Air. I loved it, my wife did get a little motion sick, but she does so easily. We did Stingray City as well. It was fun, but a bit of a trek with traffic and rough roads. If you’re adventurous, you’ll enjoy it—but honestly, we found the resort itself so incredible that staying put was even more rewarding. The last two days we just stayed on the resort. There’s a reef just off the shore that you can snorkel and see all kinds of aquarium type fish. Beautiful. TL;DR • Beachfront Villa: Unbeatable views + steps from the sand. • Food: Best dining we’ve ever had—every meal was outstanding. • Drinks: 10/10 cocktails, every time. • Atmosphere: Intimate, romantic, and never crowded—like having the resort to yourself. I usually like to try new places every trip, but Hermitage Bay set the bar so high that we’ll be coming back—every few years, without a doubt. It’s simply the most perfect place we’ve ever been to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

We had an incredible time at Hermitage Bay. This was the most relaxing vacation we've ever been on. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. The food, drinks and view were second to none. The villa with the plunge pool was perfect. It's going to be extremely difficult to beat this place with any future vacation. We are looking forward to coming back some time soon. Thank you to everyone at Hermitage Bay!

One of the most serene experiences I have ever had at a hotel. The Hillside Pool Suite was a perfect escape and so much more than just a hotel room. I felt we had complete privacy with the most beautiful views. The water sports and sushi experiences were second to none and were the perfect addition to our fabulous stay! I truly felt like the staff were friends who I want to visit over and over again! A special shoutout to Anthony, Simone, Judith, Jamie and the entire team. It was an absolute honor to get to know the General Manager Rachel Brown who has built a team not only built on quality and service but on creating a sense of family that you want to return to over and over again.

Hermitage Bay was unreal. Took my fiancée for a few days to celebrate and honestly, it felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. Stayed in a hillside suite private plunge pool, wide open ocean view, sunset hit different when you’re in the water with the right person. Alisa and Solange had every detail handled before we even showed up. Beach was quiet, food was solid, and yeah—Snowflake (the resort cat) kept showing up like she was part of the story. One of those trips that makes you realize how far you’ve come.

We had to walk out of this hotel half way through our holiday. We found the manager and MD charmless. The hotel fell well below ( recently acquired) Relais Chateaux standards to our mind. It was the 3rd Relais Chateaux hotel we have visited this year and we usually stay at 5 or 6 of them every year. We chose it for the RC name and were sorely disappointed. The front desk was a place to avoid unless Zain and Carl were on duty. They were full of smiles and engaging and keen to help but otherwise the staff there would often ignore the guest's greeting. The facilities and location are great, the Spa well run and friendly. The waiters in the main restaraunt were charming and hard working. Danny runs his male team with humour and kindness and goes out of his way to look after the guests. Jackiel Benn, Hendred, Africa, the wonderful Brian ( at the Beach restaraunt, who was the only reason we did not leave on the first day, sadly and incredulously, was then moved to the back office!) and Glocester were all fab. Henry looked after our room and was engaging, efficient and friendly. Have to say the ocean front room were out dated though the bathroom had been modernised. We had no glass in the windows so the aircon leaked out through the shutters. The bed had a ridge in the middle the linen and pillows were not of good quality. The sinks and toilet did not drain properly. The matting was grubby as was the sheer modesty curtain ( the curtain is much needed as there is a footpath outside uour balcony used by staff and guests so privacy is hard) The chef Chrisoph was good and helpful but i think still the hotel could offer more variety for a RC hotel. The lunch offering resembled a school or office canteen despite the lovely setting. Dinner at the beach is handled by the efficient Auslando but you can not disguise the fact that there is just a curtain dividing the beach bar from the restaraunt and more staff are needed there. The diving team are friendly but too keen to cancel a dive. This happened 4 times in 6 days. The rive team seem to think that if only 1 guest wants to dive then it is not worth doing it. They are inflexible on timing or on offering a beach dive if it is too choppy to go to the reef by boat. If you are a serious diver you need to book with an outside provider. The pool staff were always late and unhelpfulat the afult pool. I think a good example of what it is like to be a guest, is illustrated when i asked the front desk for the room to be cleaned. I explained my husband would need the room in just over 1 .5 hrs and asked if we could just get a quick clean before 10.00 AM. I returned to the room at 10 to 10 to find it had not been cleaned. So i called reception again and asked if someone was still coming to clean it. The curt reply i got was " It is 9.56"! This says it all. In most hotels the member of staff would be reprimanded or even lose their job but in this hotel it was deemed ok. I complained to the manager directly and by email and she never deigned to reply to my email...which is just rude. We brought all issues to her attention and she did introduce us to the chef and bring a fan to our room but then was "off" and gave us no contact info or any one else to contact if problems persisted. She had twice "cut us dead" when we greeted her and the " arrival welcome" was pittiful. We were left to get our cases out despite 3 staff members being in the area. We should have listened to our instincts then and got back in the cab. We checked with other guests and 3 different couples felt the same as us. Though there are many guests who return every year... i have to wonder if they have low expectations or do not like exploring what else is on offer.

Beautiful location once inside and the rooms are immaculate. However……The food is the worst we have ever had. The drinks that are included don’t include any cocktails you might know but merely their ‘special blends’. Ice cream sundaes are scoops of ice cream with nothing else. No bananas or mangos (we are in Antigua!?). This might be ok for some people if you’re used to package holidays but if you’re British it falls WAY below standard. The female local staff have severe attitude problems too. Entertainment was lovely but we were starving.

I had the luxury of experiencing what a special place Curtain Bluff is. The location on a peninsula offers spectacular swimming in the always perfect temperature bay. The water sports were always ready for use, I simply asked and within minutes we were being pulled behind the boat tubing and water skiing. I did not get to go sailing or paddle boarding, or enjoy the other water sport options, but they were always available ready to use. I also enjoyed playing tennis daily on their 4 courts surrounded by lush greenery and the the bay. The meals and food they served was delicious with a variety of options for everyone I was traveling with. They had Vegetarian, gluten free and every day the chef changed the menus. I enjoyed the Sunday brunch when in addition to the breakfast menu they served favorite local island dishes. With this being an all inclusive resort, everything was available to us without the hassle of carrying around money or a purse or even a towel for the beach. This made the stay another level of incredible. One afternoon we chartered a catamaran to tour the island on and a snorkel at the 6 mi long reef. This was an additional cost, but the front desk arranged it and we boarded right on the beach at the resort. No bus or driving anywhere! Every employee who I met was incredible, any request from booking a catamaran to the IT guy getting me all setup was simple, fast & friendly. The service during this entire trip was top and truly added to our stay. The only thing I wish was that I had more time there to enjoy the Spa (I heard it was great!) and another game of boccie.

To start, the food was exceptional. I have stayed at all inclusive hotels in the past where the cuisine wasn’t always favorable, absolutely not the case here.Willard Benn was our server many times throughout our stay, and his service as well as every one else was outstanding.I have an allergy to feather pillows, the woman the cleaned our room carefully labeled our pillows. The grounds are meticulous. Peaceful, gorgeous, and well deserving of 5 stars!

Nestled on the picturesque northeastern coast of Antigua, Hammock Cove Resort & Spa is a haven for adults seeking luxury and tranquility. This all-inclusive resort boasts airy villas that come complete with private infinity-edge plunge pools, spacious terraces, and breathtaking views of the sparkling turquoise waters. Guests can indulge in a unique Gourmet Inclusive experience at two exquisite dining venues: Lighthouse, which offers fine cuisine inspired by both local and international flavors, and Irinas for a more laid-back dining atmosphere.
I cannot write a review that does justice for Hammock Cove Resort. I can't speak highly enough of the team and the service they provide. D was the best ambassador, and I felt as if I were talking to an old friend when Troy visited our table for lunch or dinner. The same was true for Priscilla. Having your very own plunge pool at your villa is the best, although it does make it hard to leave your patio. From the moment we checked in, the level of service was amazing. The cleanest room and just a great experience overall. Emily, with Elite, also does a great job with the reservations and assists in any way needed. The best...

Wow what an experience! My husband and I came here for our honeymoon in July and we were hoping for a romantic, quiet, luxurious all inclusive experience - Hammock Cove provided all of this and so much more. Our expectations were exceeded. The food was nothing like what you would get at an all inclusive. Every meal we had was gourmet and some of our favorite food we have ever had at any restaurant or all inclusive. Chef Marco and the team put so much care into the work they're doing and would take time every day to come out and talk to you about the meals. The drink experience with Joel, Shawna, Gabriel, Erik, and all of the bartenders, was phenomenal. Joel makes the best espresso martinis you'll ever have, and also taught us how to make his favorite rum old fashion drink so we can make it in the US. Every drink you get will be delicious and tailored yo you if you'd like. Rooms are spacious and clean and the maids came every day. It was so nice to come into the room with fresh towels and a bed made every day. Also, it was by far the quietest most romantic place I've ever been. Going down to the beach in the morning there is no fighting for a chair and it is just quiet and lovely, We are already planning when we will come back.

We were at Hammock Cove for 5 nights and it was a wonderful experience! We traveled with another couple and requested villas next to each other which they were able to do. If you can get a villa on the ocean-facing side the view is incredible! All of the staff were friendly and happy to help or just say hello. Our "ambassador" even carried patio chairs over to our villa so the 4 of us could sit together. Service, however, was slow. Be prepared to wait 20-60min for drink or food orders on the beach or to the room. The ambassador system in general is clunky—there were several miscommunications and it was unclear what could/should be done via ambassador and should be done at the front desk. Food: Room service dinner was pretty underwhelming (calamari should never be in stick form) but Lighthouse dinners were excellent and they even made special menu items for our vegan friend. The beach BBQ was also really enjoyable, grilled lobster on a Caribbean beach is hard to beat. Activities/Excursions: The Pink Panther tour was a wonderful way to see the island with a knowledgable guide. The Calypso Cat boat was an unforgettable experience. We swam alongside sea turtles and and the crew were so fun to be with. We got to see a couple other resorts and we appreciated how small Hammock Cove was in comparison, much quieter and more walkable. Also being walking distance from Devil's Bridge was a bonus. The villa itself was incredible—bed was comfortable, blackout shades were good to have as we faced East, the mini bar was well-stocked and kept us very happy. We'd love to come back!

There’s a calm that greets you the moment you enter Hammock Cove. Tucked within a gated sanctuary on the island of Antigua, it’s where safety meets serenity—where everything feels protected, yet open enough for your spirit to breathe. The staff here? Exceptional. Genuine warmth that doesn’t need rehearsing. From the first hello to the last goodnight, you feel seen. Cared for. Each villa comes with its own ambassador and a personal cell phone that connects you to them 24/7—room service, dinner reservations, island rides, you name it. I had the pleasure of being cared for by Rayvon, Kenya, and Rondelle—each of them kind, attentive, and effortless in their grace. Every morning, Kenya handpicked fresh flowers for my breakfast table. It’s the smallest details that leave the biggest imprint. The villas are spacious—airy enough for two souls to stretch and still feel at home. Your outdoor space becomes its own world: a private plunge pool, lounge chairs for slow mornings, a dinner table for long talks, and a swinging chair that turns into your personal rhythm. There are multiple bars and restaurants on-site, but The Lighthouse stands apart—a seven-course experience where time slows, and every plate feels like a story. Your ambassador handles all the details, because here, you’re meant to simply be. Hammock Cove isn’t just a stay—it’s a reminder that luxury isn’t about extravagance. It’s about ease. Presence. The kind of peace that follows you long after you’ve left. _Sonia

Way beyond any reasonable expectation. The most unexpected surprise was the exceptional cuisine provided during our one week stay. Chef Marco prepared exceptional dishes every time. He is a consummate chef, in a class with the best in the world! We were gushing with praise after every dinner. What a pro! Iliara was the sommelier and she was very knowledgeable and graceful. Her recommendations of wines and her demeanor added to the already excellent culinary experience. The Villa was spacious, clean and had all the amenities expected at a high-end resort. The bathroom was very spacious, and well appointed. The outdoor Veranda had a plunge pool, (nice touch), table and chairs, and a well-stocked mini bar. The location had beautiful views from the room. Service was always excellent. It was kind, genuine, and unobtrusive. We always felt we were being taken care of. The grounds were constantly maintained, clean, and beautiful. The beach was never crowded, with clean clear waters and soft white sand. The floating circles were appreciated by us. We were able to relax on them, get some sun and stay cool in the water all at the same time. The staff would bring drinks out to you in the water, all you had to do was raise your hand. Our stay was a romantic, private, restful, peaceful week in Antigua. We highly recommend it to relax and reset. Thank you Hammock Cove!

We have always regarded Elite Island Resorts as among the very best in the Caribbean. During our second stay at Galley Bay, we obtained a Day Pass and a personal tour of their flagship resort, Hammock Cove, as we had already booked a holiday there for October 2025. What was already excellent became exceptional—the location was breathtaking, and every member of staff we met was among the warmest and most professional in Antigua. As with all Elite resorts, from management to housekeeping, activities, pool staff, bar, and restaurant teams, the service appeared consistently outstanding. The cuisine we experienced at lunch was superb, and the overall resort atmosphere truly first-class. Having been loyal guests for more than 17 years, with over 20 visits across their Caribbean properties and more than £250,000 spent, we were shocked to receive a personal email from the CEO when attempting to book a return visit to Galley Bay in 2026. Not only was our booking declined, but he also authorised the cancellation of our October 2025 reservation at Hammock Cove (Antigua). The only notification we initially received was a short message from our booking agent advising that our reservation had been cancelled. Shortly afterwards, we received a follow-up email from the COO. While stressing that the resorts generally provide guests with a wonderful all-inclusive island experience, he went on to say: “there is no one size fits all when it comes to holiday travel, and no single resort or resort group is perfect for everyone. To that end, we simply feel that our resorts are not the best fit for your future holidays. We wish you the very best with your future travels, even though those travels will NOT include our resorts.” This was followed by instructions to the Director of Sales to cancel our Hammock Cove reservation and issue a full refund. No explanation was provided—simply the door closed on us. After so many years of loyalty, this response left us deeply disappointed and bewildered. In my personal opinion, it appears possible that Elite Island Resorts may be engaging in some form of customer profiling, potentially using social media, to determine which guests fit their preferred profile. If you don’t, you may suddenly find yourself uninvited to return. That said, I cannot fault the quality of the resorts themselves: they remain truly first-class.

(Truly 4.75/5 ⭐️) Just left our short but sweet honeymoon at Cocos!! Jolly Beach was so beautiful and pristine. Stayed in sunset pool cottage room which we loved!! The view was truly a dream. Sure, cottage was a bit dated with chipping paint and had limited hot water to showers occasionally, but we don’t mind those things much and loved the view, pool, double shower, and great ac. I think for the price it was so worth it. We had the honeymoon package discount that included where we got the private beach dinner that Kerry Ann was a spectacular server for and Kris so kindly checked on us during. The mahi & tuna steak were the best things we ate here, so glad we did it!! One unfortunate thing is that with this honeymoon package we were supposed to get a room setup upon arrival with flowers and such and unfortunately we did not, but it was so small in the grand scheme of things that we never complained. Staff was super accommodating with food restrictions. Menu was small, but what we did order was great quality! And we were so grateful for the mocktail menu! I am a picky eater but I could go on and on about that bbq chicken and those conch fritters and how amazing they were. We had a couple servers who were more reserved, but truly everyone here works so hard. Special shout outs to the landscaping team for keeping the grounds so beautiful, Kerry Ann and Aneshya at Bankys Grill Bar, Kris the manager for taking our pics and being so kind, Amayah at the front desk for being so helpful and reliable, the mini bar re stocked man, and the couple wonderful servers whose names I forgot but so dearly appreciated their positive attitudes!!! P.s. We lovedddd loved loved the kitties at Bankys Grill on Valley Beach side, would love even more to see them be fixed but love that they have a safe home here🥹.

Cocos Hotel was the perfect spot for our honeymoon. From day one, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The food was one of our favorite parts—we absolutely loved the chef, and every meal was delicious. Our room was amazing, with an unbelievable view of the beach and sunsets. It was so quiet and peaceful, truly the perfect escape. The beach and activities were also so much fun. Thank you, Cocos Hotel, for making our honeymoon so special!

Cocos Hotel is a beautiful resort for couples. Everything was outstanding. The 2 beaches face the sunset, the amenities were perfect, just the right amount of activity and entertainment, and the scenery as the rooms were nestled in a rainforest covered in foliage and wildlife was beyond compare. The service was excellent. Everyone who works here is so friendly and will go above and beyond to please their guests. We went for our anniversary and on the night we celebrated we were surprised with a beautiful dinner table at the restaurant covered in pink flowers and ready with champagne just for us! And the food was absolutely outstanding! Chef Fay is the best - we got a chance to meet her personally and understand how much care she puts into everything she makes and it really shows! The rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful, and most of them face the ocean. We also did a few excursions and the staff were good about arranging our taxis, the drivers were kind and safe, and everyone we met along the way was hospitable. The only drawback to this resort is the rough terrain getting around to and from the rooms, the restaurants and beaches. Because it is set on a hill, there is a lot of walking uphill and downhill, but the sidewalks, stairs and paths are not well kept so it’s a little straining on the feet of even a person in good physical health, but it’s definitely not for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that, the resort is perfect. We will definitely come back here one day! 5 stars! Thank you Cocos for a beautiful vacation!!

A wonderful place and an ideal venue to celebrate as a couple. The team are just great - friendly, attentive and they make sure you are having the best time. The all-inclusive food unlike other buffet style venues is served to you at the table and the choices are great and very good. The location is superb with stunning views, with probably two of best beaches on the island. Taxis to other activities are easily arranged through Reception, as too are boat trips that collect from the beach. In summary, we’ll be back !

Just returned from an 11 night stay. We had a fantastic time, staying in a Sunset view pool cottage. This is a very rustic and personal hotel. The room had dark wood furniture with a 4 poster bed, with mosquito netting. The air conditioning was perfect. The WiFi was great. You can select your choice of drinks, provided and replaced daily, in your fridge. The cottage outside space was very good, with a great reasonable sized pool, table and chairs, longe seats, lounge beds and sun umbrella. The hotel provided bug spray, which we used and brought our own. We had no issues with bites. The hotel fog the grounds daily. The staff were, in the main, very caring, considerate, helpful and polite. Kris provided us with excellent service. Mario, the barman, at the main seating area, was great and entertaining. Kerryann, Aniza, Hazel, Janelle were also fantastic. Sorry but I can’t remember anymore names, but most were great. We enjoyed the breakfast, great selection and also the evening meals. At guys times the service can be a little slow and the occasional issue with wrong orders delivered, but in the main fine. We spent most of our time on Valley Church Beach, which is excellent. If you arrive before 11am you shouldn’t have any issue getting beds. One small not being that not all the sun shades have a ledge to put your drinks on and sometimes all the small tables have been taken. Such a gorgeous beach and setting so a shame if you have to put your drinks on the sand. This only happened to us on 2 occasions. Just a cheap fix and makes a big difference. The beach ha a bar and BBQ shack. Drinks selections are great, 1 small issue is that the bar can run low on glasses, not sure why they don’t have more. We made sure that we always took our used ones back. Jolly Beach is also very nice with its own bar. There are kayaks and snorkelling equipment you can use for free. We enjoyed the evening entertainment. The area is quite small and intimate. So we found we met new people and had great conversations. Small things that may make a difference to your stay. Bring Your own bug spray, we used Off orange spray and mosquito wipes for your face. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs as the tree frog noise on a night is quite loud even in the room. We didn’t take any and after a couple of nights and cocktails we didn’t notice it! Depending on your room location, the walk can be a little challenging, up the slopes. It also can be slippery when it has rained. If you ask reception they will drive you up to your room in a golf buggy. Be patient and relax at busy times, you are on vacation, staff work hard and do their best. If you have any problems just contact reception, we used WhatsApp to contact them, they responded quickly and efficiently. Don’t wait until you get home and be negative in your reviews when they are more than happy to help! Overall we had a great time at an excellent hotel. Very warm and welcoming, great service and very friendly!

We had the best trip to Antigua this year! Cocos Hotel is truly a must have experience. We have been to many all inclusive resorts but this was a different experience! The staff are amazing and it felt like we were spending the week with friends. The food is hands down the best food we have had at any resort! Absolutely fantastic every meal! Always fresh, served hot and mouth watering every bite! The resort is small, quaint, and rustic which adds to the experience overall. The views are spectacular and like nothing we have experienced at a resort previously. The bathroom in the sunset cottage can get a bit warm at the end of day but the AC works very well in the bedroom! I needed an extra blanket one night it worked so well! The desk staff were extremely responsive, Wifi was great, drinks fantastic and I really appreciated the wine selections at dinner. The entertainment was enjoyable ranging from mellow to a fun dance party through the week so that there is something for everyone’s style. The beaches are fantastic with beautiful white sands and comfortable lounge chairs. There is a nice pool area but the beach was so beautiful we didn’t spend much time there. We would be happy to return to Coco’s again and have already recommend to friends! If you are considering a stay in Antigua we highly recommend!

I went to coco's hotel for my girlfriend's birthday so I'm going to leave a complete review on the good and bad of the resort. Good: The food is pretty good for the most part when we did eat there. They have a great beach Bad : The wifi didn't work the entire trip Toilet had no pressure constantly had to call maintenance Theres is no television Room is old fashion There is a hill you have to walk up to get to your room The airport is close to a hour away Sink released brown water before clear water A lot of cats on the resort and flies The dinner menus are sketchy ended up dining out There is no vibe mostly old couples For the prices they’re are charging it is not worth it. if you want a full experience of a resort and getting your money’s worth go to GARZA BLANCA IN MEXICO thank me later

Simply a beautiful place to relax & unwind ! Everything was wonderful ! Suggestions - get a low to mid cottage. The walk up is a lot if you are high up. Definitely get a room with a pool. We didn’t and wished we did ! Jolly beach is quieter and has softer sand. Food was delicious! ( serving sizes are smaller for those who eat a lot like my hubby but it was perfect for me ) Check out the huts at jumby bay ! It was great to spend the day there ! Service was outstanding ! Kris - the manager was wonderful & soo helpful ! We had a wonderful time ! Thank you COCOS!

Royalton Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort offers refined rooms and suites in a relaxed setting with a spa, six restaurants, and eight bars. The resort is a paradise for luxury getaways with calm, crystal-clear waters and private white-sand shores. It features incredible dining options, oceanfront pools, and a pampering spa. Guests can upgrade their experience by booking the adults-only Chairmans Overwater Bungalow with exclusive amenities.
I was worried after I had booked looking at the overall review but so far I cannot fault the hotel. It is fun and noisy or quiet if you want it. It is clean, the food is great and service has been really good. We needed an extra bed in the room (my error booking) and was delighted when this arrived. Played chess on the bench, got drinks delivered. Am so pleased I booked it. Location is also great. Would recommend.

This was the perfect time of the year for a Caribbean vacation. First time to Antigua but Royalton was a preferred hotel chain and they did NOT disappoint. Room was spacious, activites were plentiful. We booked this trip not knowing if our toddlers would be joining us (they did not) and we had a blast just being in and around adults during our stay. Buffet was a solid go-to, whereas the Caribbean and Streakhousr were admirable but small quantity of food. Stay clear of beer bar as their is 1-2 servers, service is slow slow and food quality is poor. Pitiful Cuban sandwich and Philly cheese steak. Coffee/Gelato shop was also on point but you have to ask for a "healthy splash" of run/whiskey on your coffee. Night time concerts did not generate large crowds but it was comfortable and one could dance to their content without shame. Would mos def come back and will bring rest of fam. Big shout out to Pepe and the crew from th3 Breast cancer awareness hike! Great cause, lovely views and vibes from the hike. Won't ever forget it, Thank you Antigua!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful. The common areas and my room were beautifully maintained as housekeeping did an outstanding job keeping everything fresh and inviting. A special shoutout to Jameel in the gym. He was absolutely exceptional! As a gym girly his training sessions were well-balanced, ensuring I got a solid workout while still being able to relax and enjoy my vacation. His professionalism, encouragement, and knowledge truly elevated my experience. Thanks to him, fitness became one of the highlights of my trip!

When it comes to luxury resort it would say Royalton stands out. We stayed for a couple days and it was the best we've experienced. The front desk was really kind to us from the start. It took awhile to get to the room, but we walked around for a bit and did some exploring. The spa was really nice. And the gym layout was amazing. Met Jameel and the gang and had a nice conversation while our rooms were being prepared. To say it's a hotel gym it was really big. The beaches and pool was beautiful and the staff made us feel like family. Love this place would highly recommend

I came with My wife and daughter to celebrate My wife's birthday and it could have been better. This was pur third time here, but this meant much more than previous ones. The service was amazing, Rooms was as expected with beautiful Bay view, the restaurantes we're perfect and My favorita as always is the coffeeshop. The new one this time was the Cabana we had during the Day with personalized service, premium drinks, sodas, beers and snacks upon request. It was a great experience and My wife really enjoyed her birthday. Super thanks to the GM Frederick who Made it extra special with his friendly follow up and attention to details.

The only positive things I can say about this hotel are that the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff friendly. The food, both dinner and breakfast, at the buffet was awful, with breakfast leaving me with a very uncomfortable stomach for the entire day. Cocktails the night before (from the sports bar) were so bad we just left them and went to dinner. The location is lovely, but given you are paying for all-inclusive, your expect the food to be palatable and drinks enjoyable. Don’t even get me started on the coffee at breakfast! Thanks, but will definitely not be back again.

I stayed in one of the overwater bungalows at the Royalton Antigua from October 11–13, expecting a top-tier, all-inclusive experience worthy of its $2,200-per-night price tag. The setting is beautiful, and our butlers were absolutely exceptional — attentive, kind, and clearly doing their best to deliver five-star service despite everything else. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was the worst I’ve experienced at any resort, much less one positioned as luxury. The buffet quality was shockingly bad — unseasoned, poorly presented, and food often sat out far too long. I wouldn’t compare it to even a budget buffet back home. Even the candlelight dinner in our bungalow, which should have been a highlight, was inedible. My steak was dry, tough, and had the texture of dehydrated meat. For this price, I expected fine dining — not food I couldn’t finish. The resort also wasn’t as advertised. One of two main pools was closed, there was daily construction noise, and a restaurant was shut down without notice. When I voiced concerns, management made things worse. I asked to speak to Yankarlos, who turned and walked away without responding. I was later promised prompt follow-up from both Donalee and Yankarlos — a week later, I’m still waiting. Donalee also blamed Marriott for not updating the property’s website, saying it was “their fault.” But guests are paying this property — not Marriott — and deserve accurate information and accountability. At checkout, I overheard at least five other couples expressing similar frustrations, so this clearly isn’t an isolated issue. The butlers truly deserve praise for their professionalism, but management’s lack of ownership and the resort’s food and operational standards make this stay an incredible disappointment. This property has so much potential, but until serious changes are made, it’s nowhere near worth $2,200 per night.

The Royalton Antigua is a good hotel option for family friends or groups. The hotel has a diamond club, which includes concierge ride to your own check-in area via shuttle, butler service, desginated dining, pool and beach areas, and discount on spa services. The main buffet has a wide variety of food selection. The specialty restaurant that I liked the most was the Caribbean Grill, but you can chose from Italian, steakhouse, sports bar, and even a culinary dining experience (for a cost). There was a coffee shop, bakery, and ice-cream shop conveniently located together. Note: if there is heavy rains, the Caribbean Grill and Italian restaurant usually closes due to water flooding the floors b/c they are located by the beach area. Cons: the diamond club level service was not good. There was no difference from general guest service vs diamond level. There was lack of staffing, no responses and follow up, and I did not hear from my butler after initially brought to my room. I was on the beach for 4 hours and did not see any butler. There is 1 main building for all the rooms, expect for the overwater bungalows. And very narrow elevators.

Keyonna Beach Resort is an all-inclusive, couples-only boutique hotel located on the southwestern coast of Antigua. The accommodation mainly consists of charming wood-and-wattle cottages nestled in tropical gardens, some with private pools and others with rustic decor in the main building. Romantic experiences such as private beach dinners and couples massages are available. The resort offers panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and Montserrat Island from its beachfront location on Turner's Beach, a great spot for swimming and snorkeling.
My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved our stay at Keyonna Beach Resort. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They were very attentive and were always looking for ways to better our stay. The food was 10/10 every meal we ordered we absolutely loved. Although there were several other couples on the resort our experience felt very private. As it is an island, there are quite a lot of bugs but the resort provides bug spray to help with this. Overall we absolutely loved every part of our stay and look forward to coming back in the future.

We came to Keyonna Beach to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. There was a little hiccup on our room assignment when we first arrived but the staff more than accommodated us and introduced us to a room with a private plunge pool and unobstructed view of the ocean! We couldn’t have been more surprised and grateful! And now we know we can never have anything else!!! There are few words that can adequately describe our stay here but “magical” and “heavenly” is where I would start. The staff is so, so amazing and friendly. The cabana is a treat, for reading at the beach with shade. We enjoyed snorkeling and exploring, and I took the yoga classes and had some massages. The food is amazing and they will do everything possible to accommodate your requests. If you are even a little bit thinking of this resort for your romantic getaway, do it! And get a room with its own pool, you absolutely will not regret it. The whole experience will check boxes you didn’t even know you had for the ultimate vacation. I can’t wait to come again.
Shannon L — Google review
Overall, a lovely and private experience. The resort offers an intimate atmosphere, though the beach area for guests can feel somewhat crowded, with daybeds positioned quite close together. Each room is assigned its own covered daybed, but selection is based on room allocation rather than guest preference, so you may find yourself in either the front or back row. The rooms themselves are comfortable and moderately styled—pleasant, but not overly luxurious. Efforts have been made to enhance privacy, such as using natural wood fencing around the deck areas. If your room includes a private pool, it’s a wonderful feature; however, depending on the location, you may have partial views of neighboring rooms or pools. What truly sets this resort apart is the exceptional staff—they are warm, attentive, and consistently go above and beyond to ensure guests feel cared for. A standout perk is the complimentary beach service, where food and drinks can be ordered directly from your daybed and delivered right to you, a touch that adds to the overall convenience and relaxation. It appears the property is expanding, with new rooms under construction, which may eventually detract from the boutique, intimate feel that many guests—like us—specifically seek out. Overall, this is a quiet resort with good food, limited but thoughtful vegetarian options, and a staff that truly elevates the entire experience.

This place is awesome. We had a room with private pool, beach chairs and a cabana. Food was delicious and appeared to be freshly made every meal. Meal service can be a little slow but your on island time. Relax and enjoy. Beautiful beach and sunsets. Quiet and laid back

We came here for our honeymoon & it was the most amazing vacation we have ever had! Absolutely loved the beach cottage with the plunge pool opening up to the ocean, the daybed was incredible with the 2 lounge chairs, the service was amazing & all of the people we encountered were so down to earth & hospitable! The dinner menu changed every night & we loved all of the meals! TEVIN- he was the absolute BEST, he made our stay soooo perfect, we loved him & he was so kind & on top of it, truly made our stay the best! ATTESHA- was our favorite server by far, she was so sweet & remembered things about our meals, she is amazing & sooo nice JOCELYN- I had 2 massages while I was there & she is INCREDIBLE at all different kinds of massages, I had a foot reflexology, head neck & shoulder & and a deep tissue & it was all so relaxing & I felt amazing after GEORGE- truly a Godsend! they were out of ibuprofen in the gift shop & he ran to the store for us to get some, went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of! DANIEL- super nice guy & always remembered our names! ROCKY- very helpful & always smiling up front, it’s truly the people that make this place so special! & one more I cannnot remember his name, but the guy who helped us take our bags… I believe it starts with a Q?! He was soooooo sweet!!! We will be back one day!

Excellent stay. Everyone was so friendly as they always are in Antigua. Chef Patrick made us a custom meal one night (which really needs to be added to the menu), Tevin at the bar was incredible: attentive, checking on guests, and mixing great drinks, as was Aron, and Aurelius at the bell desk/ reception was incredible.
David A — Google review
Room and location was good. A little tattered and dated, but the plunge pool and proximity to the beach were great. Seemed to be one of the biggest price reports on the island but did not deliver service for that level. Food was very tasty and interesting. Staff was OK but again not a top resort level. Food quantity was challenging. Not meant to feed a hungry appetite. They will double portion if requested but took 4 days of being hungry after dinner to find that out. Some grounds areas were in disrepair so again, not up to the standard I expected for such a premium priced boutique resort. Would not return.
Chris S — Google review
Perfect honeymoon destination! We absolutely loved this resort. The resort is a small boutique all inclusive, unlike larger resorts we truly feel we got a feel of Antigua. The food was all sourced from the island and they had many local dishes offered. Definitely suggest getting the juice of the day every morning, a lot of unique fruits we do not have in the States. The staff was absolutely lovey and felt warm and welcoming. Be sure to book an excursion and participate in the activities the resorts offers for the full experience. The property was very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Pineapple Beach Club is an adult-only, all-inclusive resort located on a beautiful white sand beach in Antigua. The resort offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and beach volleyball. For those looking to relax, there are three swimming pools and plenty of space on the pristine beach. The area around the resort is known for its excellent snorkeling opportunities with diverse marine life just a short swim from the shore.
We absolutely loved the Pineapple Beach Club! It is on the Atlantic side so the water can get a little rough depending on the way the wind is blowing. But most days it was beautiful. Great snorkeling near by, service is great, room was great. Be sure to have Denie take you out on the sailing catamaran. Great guy, very friendly, and a bubbly personality! The turtles and the local cats made it all the better as I'm a huge animal person. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great and relaxing time at the Pineapple Beach Club Resort. Our room was clean and spacious enough to spend the week. The AC worked great and the room also had a ceiling fan. Everyone that we came in contact with was friendly especially Michael who was part of the “Fun Squad”. Tricia was our server at Topaz and we asked for her every night. She has a great personality! Ann Marie was awesome and Egbert took great care of us the entire time. This resort only has 3 restaurants and a snack bar, but you also have access to the sister resort across the street. The entire place provided a relaxing and chill vibes. It’s not a 5 star resort, but I would recommend this property.

We stayed in Pineapple Beach Club for my birthday vacation and it was one of the best places we’ve been. Food was delicious and fresh. We’ve had our fair share of all inclusive resorts and this one has the best buffet food. It was easy to reserve in the a la carte restaurants. The outhouse restaurant was the best part of the resort. The beach is beautiful and the round “floaties” are very relaxing and safe. The entertainment at night was great and fun. We stayed in the waterfront room and the view was breathtaking. Room was clean. They have very friendly and accommodating staff. I will recommend this resort and will definitely gonna come back. It was one of the best birthday vacation ever!

Families can partake in beach games, art classes, nature walks, and seasonal programs while children are entertained.
I have nothing but amazing things to say. I don’t understand how this resort could have any bad reviews. From the rooms to the food and the beautiful beach and amazing staff, we were BLOWN away. We got the private candlelight dinner and Risa was our server, she was incredible and deserves a raise, she SANG to us at dinner after we told her we just got engaged. She was so sweet and gave us incredible service. Theo at sails and tails is absolutely incredible. He talked to us like we have known each other forever and we enjoyed eating there more because of him! Tristain who drove the golf cart was so sweet and talked to us about every part of our trip and why we loved it so much. Every single staff member was AMAZING even though I didnt get everyones name down. The food was incredible, especially for an all inclusive resort. We know it can be hit or miss but every single meal was great. The room was clean and the shower was beautiful. We went with another couple and got rooms right next to each other with a shared balcony, we couldn’t have asked for anything better and more accommodating. My friend we traveled with has a dairy allergy as well, and the staff was so attentive to her meals and snacks. Anyway, thank you so much to the verandah staff for making our vacation so incredibly awesome. We will be back very soon

This resort was referred to us by a travel agent. The staff were all truly nice! The food at the resort at every location was really good. However this wasn’t a truly all inclusive experience. The rooms are not stocked and if you want sodas after the pub or main bar close you have to purchase it from the gift shop before they close. There’s no room service. The resort is huge so unless you’re staying in the 300’s you’ll need to call for a “shuttle “ to get around. Which can be an inconvenience as well. I wasn’t looking for a party scene so this resort is really good for relaxation but if you’re younger and want to be in the mix— this isn’t it. I enjoyed everything about the property except the lack of all inclusive experience. Any complaint we had was addressed by the property manager and FIXED! She didn’t just brush us off. They have several pools and a few beaches! I’d say walk outside the resort to the right and font on the local beach tho.

Just came back from verandah Antigua ,Staying for 8 days , it was vacation for my family me my husband and my son, First from check in the staff not friendly at all usually every resort in Caribbean I visit the serve you welcoming drink when we arrived they ask us oh do you want drinks? I think because from all air Canada flight just our family stay in this resort so it was just our family in check in. because after 2 days we saw group arrive and they serve them drinks ,room service it’s good clean , pools it’s very poor service with this kind of luxury resort the main pool they have 2 basketballs one it’s get flat no air from second day we arrived no body care about it we told the staff he Kisangani oh we can’t do any thing we have to contact the company and we have to do new order its long process imagine they have ordered just 2 for all gusts so if the second one get damaged there is no basketball game . Now the restaurant not a lot of options just 2 restaurants and pizza place the staff of both restaurants not friendly at all service very bad , buffet staff super friendly , In the end this resort it’s not worth the money we spend which is a lot so I am not going to recommend it to any body . For sure I visit antique again loved the island but staying in different resorts ,

FEMALE SOLO TRAVELERS This review is for you. This resort is amazing, I truly love it here. I have been here many times HOWEVER, this is my first time here alone and let me tell you.. be careful. The male employees here are ruthless, aggressively flirtatious and do not take NO for an answer. It has gotten so bad that I am avoiding specific areas of the resort simply because I'm scared or uncomfortable. Water sports being the main one, the men there will quite literally be all over you and making wildly inappropriate comments. "I've been watching you all day" "I noticed that you're here alone" "I've noticed there's no ring on your finger, I can put one on there" "I had to stop myself from FOLLOWING you to your room" (you give your room number at the various restaurants or when renting out sporting equipment) "my shift ends at 3, let me take you off the resort" "hmmm the things I would do to you" and I could go on. These are just a handful of the wildly inappropriate comments that have been made to me over the last couple days and I am here for another week and a half. @Verandah Please for the love of God, address this with your male staff as they act like they've never seen a women before, and I'm not even trying to exaggerate or be cocky, it literally is that bad and borderline harassment. I am not a piece of meat. Other than that, GREAT Resort but I will not make the mistake of returning alone. Be safe ladies.

The Verandah is a beautiful resort. The breaches have soft white sands and the water is warm and not calm, nestled in bay areas. We enjoyed Kayaking and paddle boarding on the calm waters. The main pool is quite large and accommodating. There are smaller pools located throughout the resord when you want to escape the crowds. Lunch and dinner in the main area are good - many food choices. Dinner in the restaurants is excellent. For those not into water activities, the full course mini-golf area keeps the family entertained for hours.

We are leaving our holiday here today after 10 nights and we have had an amazing time and are very sad to be going home! The food, location, resort and facilities are fantastic. The upkeep and maintenance are always being done with staff always around gardening, painting etc. The rooms are beautiful and air conditioning is very good and a welcome relief! Activities were great and not forced upon you, only if you wanted to take part. Huge effort goes into the evening events, like the beach party etc. The only downsides for us were some of the scheduled activities didn't take place because of the laidback approach and staff were mostly lovely but some of them were not particularly friendly. However this was very minor in comparison to the overall experience and does not change our 5 star review. We would most definitely recommend.

Came for a girls trip and had a wonderful time. The food is satisfying, nothing to rave about. The pools and beaches are nice. The staff is also hit or miss. Theodore is the absolute best server EVER!!! He anticipated our EVERY need after our first interaction with him. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and seemed like he wanted to be exactly where he was - brightening everyone's day. We also enjoyed time with Addi, Super Mario, and Captain D. I also highly recommend the Pink Panther Safari tour! The Spantigan - Jahira ( I think that's her name) tall skinny woman - was the absolute best tour guide!!! I was not a fan of the room we had - water view 2 bedroom villa. It seemed like an abandoned apartment. But oddly enough, the bed was comfortable. Didn't seem like the cleanest, or well maintained villa. All in all, we had a great time mainly because of the people.

long list of issues with this place! 1. Rude management not friendly don’t want to help you at all 2. Out of date yogurts of breakfast, not just 1 pot but all of them were picture attached. 3. A long female hair found in my husbands al carte meal disgusting and not even offered a new meal to be cooked , they just denied it was theirs when clearly it is! 4. Slimy seaweed on the bottom of the sand not nice at all. there are better beaches and sea on other parts of the island. 5. The rooms are miles away from everything so you have to take a golf buggy to everything and you can be waiting up to 20mins sometimes to get picked up it’s frustrating. 6. They close the buffet whenever they fancy it so you can’t go for your evening meal you are made to go into another restaurant you might have already been to this week. 7. the beach is noisy with people on day passes to the hotel ruining the relaxed atmosphere 8. No ice cream bar to go get any ice cream in the day and in the evening they have two flavours if they have it in stock 9. They run out of stock of certain foods and then you never see that item again all week. It does not come back in stock the next day 10. Extremely wide spread resort not suitable for disabled, elderly or anyone struggling to walk with the amount of hills and steps everywhere I would honestly pick another resort! don’t waste your time/ money here!

Sandals Grande Antigua is an upscale, all-inclusive resort located on the famous Dickenson Bay in Antigua. Catering exclusively to adults, the resort offers a romantic and luxurious experience with 11 restaurants/bars, 6 outdoor pools, a spa, and a private beach area. Guests can choose from various themed accommodations such as Caribbean Beachfront Village or Mediterranean Oceanview Village.
We recently stayed the first week of September. This is my second Sandals resort and I did have very high expectations. There were a few areas that I was a little let down. We stayed on the Caribbean side and I do believe that is the older side compared to the Mediterranean. The rooms on the Caribbean side definitely seem more personable than not in the big building We did like however, the rooms probably need to be updated the furniture as well. Overall, we found that the food was really good. And I do like that there was always something to eat. We did go during the slower season so some of the restaurants may not have been open during their normal operating times that you would see listed on the app. I did not feel like the drinks were that great compared to our stay in Grenada where everything I had was amazing. The one thing I did find was that the people working at this resort were all amazing. They did try their best to provide amazing customer service everywhere we went. Jamil and the sandals club concierge went out of his way to assist us. Not only that, the honesty and integrity that the staff show is beyond compare. I left back in a room a bracelet that I purchased at the duty free shops down in St John's. I had no idea. I left it in the hotel safe until we arrived back home. I reached out as quickly as I could I tried to call and then I tried to email. To my surprise they not only found my bracelets. They sent it back to me via FedEx. I couldn't believe it. Losing my new bracelet put a very sour note on a very great vacation. I truly thought it was gone and I just had to take it as a loss. That really just solidifies the people of Antigua that we met. Everyone from the hotel staff to the people we saw while we were out of the hotel we're all so kind and welcoming. I don't really know why I waited so long to come to this island and I definitely will be back.

This is a beautiful resort. I've been to several Sandals resorts, now, and I do believe this one to be the most visually appealing resort, thus far. The architecture around the resort is beautiful as as the grounds, and the beachfront. I have one complaint and that is the size of the rondoval suite we were in. It's VERY tight inside. From what I understand they're not like that at all resorts, though. It's cozy if ythat's your thing, but if you spend more than a little bit of time in your room, it's too tight in my opinion. Food was fabulous at Bayside and Eleanor's. And we were able to get a lobster lunch 2 days in a row, by request. Our butlers, Shawn and N'Kosi, were on point with that and delivered a succulent lunch to our patio. I believe we could have had it more than twice had we known to order sooner. We went during the off-season, and for us, that was perfect. The resort wasn't crowded and access to any and everything was effortless. I would visit again.

Read this review!!! It will help you. Pros: Great beach, awesome location, great service, AMAZING FOOD! Best resort food weve had. Not much buffet choices, more restaurant style. Cons: The island and the resort has native species of wild life (frogs etc) that are active at night. They are LOUD! If you are a light sleeper prepare with earplugs or other solutions as it can be difficult to rest. The hotel is older and shows. Internet was slow and spotty, so not ideal for work or meetings if you have to. TVs are not smart to app access is none existent. We had rainy days and would of enjoyed some shows. Overall: Good resort but AMAZING ISLAND. Visit Antigua.

We stayed at the resort from 7/12 to 7/19 and stayed in the main building. The first hour was pretty bad. They delivered the wrong luggage to the room, 3 times. I finally went and got the correct luggage after the failed attempt of 2. Then the Bell Man showed up for the third time with the wrong luggage and Then I had to explain that I had my luggage and the luggage they were trying to deliver was absolutely not mine. Then we struggled the next day with reservations not showing up on my App. As well as we went to a restaurant and they stated I didn't have any reservations. Finally on night 2, a supervisor at Soy got involved and then got a manager involved. We believe that they had us in the system wrong or the next room to us had the same last name. When we booked our next Sandals trip the next day they did get another manager and he did listen to us and got it corrected. He also got us a credit for a cabana or Beach dinner. We had the beach dinner and by far the worst dinner of the 15 nights we have stayed at a Sandals. Pros: - Main Building Rooms were clean, updated and nice. -Resort was Clean. -Pool Activities were good. -Beach was good and no issues with being public. - Soy and Japanese Steak house was very good. -We like Cats and had no issues with them. Cons - Most employees are absolutely miserable and not motivated at all. We had a few that were expectational but like 5. -Overall food was fair at best. -Beach dinner was unbelievably awful. -Customer service is very poor and it will take you at least 3 times to get a simple request corrected. We stayed at St Lucia Grande last Year and it was much better.  We will see how Grenada is Next Year.  It could be the last Sandals or we determine that Antigua is not the place.

5 night stay with my fiancé. We really enjoyed the beautiful beach and our time on Antigua. I want to recognize John at the piano bar, Celia at the pool bar, Joshua and the many fun photographers, Claudia's awesome karaoke, our fun bingo host, omelete chef and many more. The staff were truly fun. The saxophone player was amazing! We sang, danced, and really enjoyed all the entertainers. We really enjoyed our breakfasts. The food was always good and service was quick. The cocktails were great. We scheduled a photo session, got great shots, and bought a set of photos. We snorkeled and visited the duty free shopping, but stayed primarily on the resort. We would return for another vacation.

We weren’t supposed to be in Antigua but Hurricane Melissa redirected us from Sandals Negril in Jamaica to SandalsGrande Antigua. It was a pleasant surprise. Beaches were beautiful, staff friendly and accommodating and our room was centrally located to everything. Our room was dated but clean and comfortable. Will definitely go back one day.

This is our 5th or 6th time to Sandals Grande Antigua, and unfortunately, most likely our last time. The last time we were here, was before covid and not much, if anything has been updated. All around the property, are signs of neglect and lack of attention to detail. The elevator, that was not working more than 5 years ago, is now just boarded up. Lamp posts, not only missing bulbs, but missing fixtures as well. Bare wires exposed at the side of walkways. Where the outdoor fire pits actually have seating, the cushions are ripped and the seats are shabby. There are far too few pool floats at the main pool and many of those are torn or shabby. There are 4 restaurants on site, that require reservations. Only 2 are open on a given night. You need to make reservations for each night, when you arrive, or you might not get in. It seems they may be under staffed, so the same people have to service all of the restaurants. The food is not the same caliber as it used to be. You do not expect 5 star dining, but they must do better. The beach is still clean and beautiful, however there are far more local merchants lining the entrances. The guards to a good job of making sure only registered guests enter. This is just my opinion, as a guest who has been here multiple times. This is the only Sandals I have been to. I kept coming back, because I knew what to expect....I did not get it this time. May be time to branch out. Still 4 days left on this trip, so I plan to make the most of it.

Jumby Bay Island is a luxurious resort located on a private island just off the coast of Antigua. The sprawling 300-acre estate offers pristine beaches, elegant villas with ocean views, and top-notch amenities including multiple restaurants, outdoor pools, and a spa. Recently refurbished, this exclusive getaway is known for its flawless five-star luxury and seamless butler service. Nature lovers will appreciate the variety of wildlife sightings and tropical flora on the island's white sand beaches.
We just returned from the most relaxing honeymoon ever at Jumby Bay, and the highlight of our trip was, without a doubt, the people working there. The level of attention and care they showed us made this experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the fast pass at the airport made everything seamless, and the transfer team was waiting to whisk us away on a beautiful 10-minute boat ride to the island. It set the tone for the entire stay—smooth, thoughtful, and luxurious. When we arrived, we were greeted by Nichol and Keisha, who welcomed us with the best smiles and made us feel right at home. Omari was ready for us at the bar, ensuring we started our stay in the best way possible. The staff’s attention to detail was incredible, remembering our dining preferences and even our allergies, which made every meal that much more special. At the lunch grill, Yjaira, Susie, Akeila, Maureen, and Deno went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Antoine made sure we were always comfortable and well taken care of, adding another layer of thoughtfulness to our stay. We had so much fun with the activities! Snorkeling was an absolute highlight, with the team sharing so much local knowledge, and the reef was incredibly healthy—something we truly appreciated. Wake surfing, tennis, and the circumnavigation tour were equally wonderful. And I can’t forget the relaxing spa massage, which was exactly what we needed. The beach boys—Travis, Chris, Lawson (Tiny), Rodney, and Keyon—deserve a special shout-out for being the best. They made sure we had everything we needed and brought such great energy every day. Jason, the sommelier at the Veranda, also provided the best wine experience we could ask for. His knowledge and service elevated our dining experience. Lastly, I’d like to recognize the amazing boat captains—Sean, Randy, and Von—who took such good care of us on the water, ensuring each trip was smooth and filled with stunning views. We’re sure we’ve missed some names here, so we want to extend a big thank you to all of the staff at Jumby Bay. Your kindness, attention, and warmth made our honeymoon unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return!

We stayed here in April 24, we came as a large group of 9 for a special occasion. The hotel is situated on a lovely private island with access to only villa owners and hotel guests. The bars are well stocked with premium spirits and staff are always on hand to cater to any needs you may have. We did go during a school holiday, so this will have had an influence, but there are a lot of children and young families so if you are a couple, you may want to plan to avoid going during there dates. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel

Jumby Bay is a magical place. This was my first time to Jumby Bay and I was surprised and impressed by how happy the staff all were. They were kind, engaging, genuine. From John at the Veranda for dinner to Samantha at breakfast, we felt as though we were part of a community and it was lovely. We enjoyed bike riding, the safety and ease of it all. The food was great. In August beach chairs were readily available and the beach’s soft white sand was stunning. The only thing I would have liked were some rugs in the room, bath mats, rug under the bed- the room felt cold because it didn’t have those tiny touches which would have made it feel more warm and homey. We’ll be back!

Absolutely unforgettable time on this island with my wife. The atmosphere was completely unparalleled when compared to anywhere we’ve ever been. Jumby Bay is a special place. The only reason I give 4 stars for service was because of the food service. Although it was very friendly, it was painfully slow at times. They would also occasionally forget some of our orders. I think they would would benefit from retraining their food service staff to cater to more American dining expectations.

ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I’VE EVER HAD AT A LUXURY HOTEL 1. A piece of glass remains on the pool area, which hurt my leg 2. A piece of plastic is contained in an ice cream which I was about to drink it and it was very dangerous 3. I lost my hat and let the hotel know immediately after that happened but they didn’t check it right away, so I lost my hat 4. some of the cups in my room was not cleaned up after room service, and they are left on a sheep statue in front of the door 5. I asked buggy to the dinner venue (farm), but the driver was not informed the destination, so I went had to tell him 6. I asked a buggy when we check out, but that was forgotten (I waited for 20min, but a buggy didn’t come), so I had to carry and walk all the way from my room to the front 7. Water keep coming out from an air conditioner and I asked the hotel to fix or clean up, but nothing was done for it during my stay.

It all starts with fast track at the airport (definitely recommended)...A few minutes drive to the private quay and the short ride in the hotels catamaran to the resorts landing. A seamless start to our week at this exclusive Carribean resort. We are met with the obligatory Champagne and a personalised checkin. Our room (beach villa with pool) is a short walk or buggy ride if you prefer. It's Spacious, cool.... Carribean, and a 1 minute walk to the beach. The beach is pristine and golden with palm shades and sunbeds a plenty. There are Several restaurants on the Islands the Plantation house is a definite recommend, book early and ask for an outside table. The usual options of water-sports are all available with a trip to a local coral reef to snorkel another recommend. Easily a 5 star review a wonderful resort we will be back...

Superior Vacation…! Impeccable Views…! Excellent Security…! People kept trying daily to ride the golf carts to the villa for a look… …but security was Top Notch…! I stayed @ Pasture Point It is a huge house with a natural ocean water pool pumped up to the villa…! Flawless Weather…! Highly Recommend…!

Not worth the price. The island is great and all the vegetation, the different villas and rooms are nice, as well the main pool and the beach area, there is almost no one so you can use all services, food is nice but lack variety if you re staying for more than 3 days, alcohol is premium brands and cocktails are well prepared However, Maldives is a much better place, snorkeling is much better, service is better, beach and sea here are full of seaweed (although they tried to clean) and all in all Maldives comes with a better price for what you get

Hawksbill Resort Antigua is an adults-only, all-inclusive getaway offering airy accommodations, private beaches, dining options, and a pool. The resort boasts on-site restaurants with themed dinner nights and a spa for relaxation. Its four connected beaches include the nudist-friendly Eden beach with soft powder sand and palm trees for shade. For those seeking bars, restaurants, and water sports, nearby options are available at Elite Island Resorts Galley Bay, Curtain Bluff or Hawksbill.
From the moment my Mom and I arrived at Hawksbill, I knew it was special. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous with lush grounds, breathtaking views, and a sense of serenity. My suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with loads of privacy and close to the pool and main dining area. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person I encountered went above and beyond, creating an atmosphere that felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a family. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care elevated every moment of my visit. I want to especially recognize Corlette, whose kindness and hospitality was particularly noteworthy. She made us feel completely at home. There were many more as well from grounds keepers, housekeeping, water sports, restaurant/bar, gift show lady and reception. Everyone was genuinely wonderful. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, comfort, and the kind of heartfelt service that lingers long after you leave, Hawksbill is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return.

It is a lovely Island. The airport and immigration was smooth. This is a very tranquil beautiful all inclusive resort. There are plenty of things to do such as paddle board kayak etc. Beautiful beaches and a nice infinity pool. The food was good, and they rotated the food well. Most of the staff was welcoming with a few exceptions. There are nice concrete paths to walk on, however, you have to watch your footing, there are potential trip hazards especially if you're older or wearing sunglasses.

We picked this resort because of Eden Beach. This beach is one of the few legally permitted clothing-optional beaches in the Caribbean and is located at the Hawksbill Resort. However we were delighted to discover that this resort has a lot more to offer. Its rooms are spacious, well appointed and with views of the ocean. Its restaurant provides an excellent selection of food, and the service is wonderful. If we have any complaints, it was with the air conditioning in our room. It was always too cold even when we turned the target temperature up high. We were either too cold with it on, or too hot with it off.

I traveled with a group of 10 women to help celebrate my 50th. I love resorts on the smaller end so this was perfect as far as being right on the beach. It’s affordable & beautiful. Some areas of the resort could use a little updating. But the beaches really make up for that. the beaches are the main attraction & I enjoyed each & every one of them! As for the food/drinks, I’d like a better variety of breakfast food. Perhaps some more authentic island food as opposed to the heavy European & American staples. Also, did not expect to have to pay extra for top shelf alcohol. Never experienced that at other all-inclusives before. Overall, the resort staff were fine. Some were more attentive than others. Management & Housekeeping really did a great job of making my 50th birthday celebration very special. From the Champagne to the cake, the room decorations & the table at dinner. Beautiful!

Our short holiday at Hawksbill Resort was our first trip to Antigua. The resort strikes a perfect balance between relaxation and activity. Though we didn’t try the kayaks or Hobie Cat sailing, we spent our days exploring the bay, searching for shipwrecks with cannons and anchors, and swimming alongside colorful fish. The calm setting and friendly guests made it easy to unwind and connect. We loved learning about the island’s culture - and realizing we’d been saying its name wrong! The resort is named after the hawksbill turtle, symbolized by a rock in the bay. We spotted our first mongoose at breakfast, dined under almond trees, and saw old sugar mills that once powered the island’s economy. Arriving during Independence Week, we admired the vibrant madras national dress in red, gold, and green, symbolizing strength and resilience. We learned that the Wadadli catamaran takes its name from the men’s shirt in that attire. Our trip to Cades Reef was amazing - a two-mile reef where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean, alive with stingrays, turtles, coral, and conch shells. The staff made our stay exceptional. Egbert the cook and driver, Myra, Aria, Kianna, Melinda, Sharon, Debbie, and the sports crew were kind, professional, and full of good humor. The regional manager even surprised me with birthday decorations in our room. Hawksbill was the perfect blend of rest, culture, and adventure. We can’t wait to return!

Everything was perfect! From the time we arrived we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made check-in quick, made sure we relaxed with cool mint towels and a glass of sparkling wine, and gave us all the information of activities and food for the week. We then received help with our bags to our bungalow which had the most beautiful and relaxing views to enjoy. The waiters/waitresses were amazing going above and beyond to keep dinner flowing smoothly while also making sure you were taken care of. The activities like water sports and yoga were very relaxing but also very fun. Overall this was the best vacation experience I’ve had in all my years of traveling and made our honeymoon perfect!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! We stayed for a full week and it has the most breathtaking views. The water sports were so much fun to do. Huge thank you to Gerald for teaching us how to sail! Food was soo yummy! Drinks were delicious! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They were on top of everything! We also booked a couples massage at their spa and it was the most relaxed we’ve ever been. I would definitely recommend staying here, it’s worth every penny.

The resort is in a quiet location with beaches that are exclusively private. The food is excellent, and the accommodation is great as well. However, the overall impression is spoiled by the staff. There’s sometimes trash around the area, and if you want to sleep in, they start cutting the grass by your bungalow as early as 7 a.m. These are small details, but they make a big difference. Otherwise, it’s great.

Hodges Bay Resort & Spa is a modern beachfront retreat located on the north shore of Antigua. The property boasts impressive grounds, a pristine white sand beach, and stylish common spaces that have earned it recognition as one of the most Instagrammed resorts in the world. With marble-clad social areas and bright accommodations adorned with striking art pieces, the resort offers relaxed luxury with impeccable service and no dress code.
Our family of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it fit us perfectly. We enjoyed a lot the beach, the pools and the Prickly Pear Island! The activities organized by the resort were great- morning yoga by the beach, dance class at the beach ( my favorite:), water activities, evening barbecue with music and dancing. Service was great and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. We rented a car and went to explore the island and see some other beaches that were not far ( the roads are not great though) and it was worth it. We will be very happy to go back one day!

They have a private island. I’m not sure I need to say more but they will drive you, via boat, to a tiny private island that serves drinks, food, and has amazing beach’s. It was the best beach “on” Antigua. On top of that the room was very comfortable, the bed was soft and luxurious, and the view was beautiful. The location is pretty far from other things so if you are leaving the resort for dinner and the like you will need a rental. There is a restaurant on campus and it serves good, but not great food. Highly highly recommended place to stay. We will be staying here again when we return to Antigua.

Rooms were okay depending on what suit you are in. Customer service is tolerable. I want to truly shout out Ray. He's involved with the snorkeling lessons and it was truly a pleasure and an experience that I'll never forget. He's been exploring the waters since he was 8 years old and knows every crevice their is in the waters. We saw some of the most rarest fish species the waters had to offer which was purely off his guidance. It was a real treat. His passion for exploring is unwavering and I was very fortunate to meet him. If you are there, give him a shout! You will not be disappointed.

There is a room category for everyone here! There is garden and pool view rooms to oceanfront suites and 3-story villa. It's very relaxed and chilled atmosphere at the resort. If you like art, thia resort has plenty of artwork located throughout the property. Check out the spa for a relaxing session. Note: The options for dining is limited. Recommend: spending the day at Prickly Pear Island. The resort provides complimentary shuttles to the nearby island. Contact me to work with a travel advisor to help curate the best experience.

We arrived 2 weeks ago as part of a medical group. The staff was fantastic the entire time we stayed at the resort and I can't praise them enough. The trip wasn't smooth as my dad fell in the shower and busted his face open due to no handicap bars and a slippery shower floor. Also, there were 40+ ALS, Parkinson, and MS patients there with mobility issues and no elevator but 30+ steps to the room which made is VERY difficult. Pros: - Quiet resort - Great pools - Prickly pear island - Bar by the pool - Room was clean and Nespresso was a nice touch Cons: - Need some updating to facilities - Elevator needs to be fixed - Bar service at the pool would have been awesome - food prices were outrageous and nothing really to snack on so we skipped dinner - the flys during breakfast were crazy (maybe due to seaweed?)

I’m giving the resort 2 stars due to service mostly. We arrived at around 6:30pm. We were greeted however we were not offered a welcome drink or wet towel upon arrival. I mention that because as i was leaving the resort daily i saw that other guests were being offered beverages such as champagne and wet towels. The room was freezing cold the a/c was clearly working well and it was very loud. Our coffee machine had to be replaced per my request because there was a bug in it. Housekeeping did not give new washcloths or replace toilet paper or tissues. The resort didn’t have any working elevators with so many stairs it is very inconvenient for a person with a disability or with small children. We were charged $5 for breakfast for our 4 month old who clearly doesn’t eat food. Whatever it’s just $5 but it’s the principle. I do feel like the employees the work the guest service check-in/check out could be more hospitable. We only had breakfast at the resort and dined elsewhere for lunch and dinner. The employees at the breakfast area were friendly.

We spent a week at Hodges Bay Resort during Easter with our family of four, seeking a convenient and reasonably priced two-bedroom option. The resort largely met our expectations for location and amenities. It's a quick 10-minute drive from the airport, offering a small, calm atmosphere with a good beachfront view. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious, featuring separate bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and a large balcony – perfect for a family. The resort boasts a private beach with boat shuttles to Prickly Pear Island, which was a highlight. We appreciated the two pools (one for kids, one for adults), both generously sized, and ample loungers. The kids' club, while basic, offered a few planned activities from 10 AM to 4 PM, providing some downtime for parents. Dining included two on-site restaurants (one dinner-only with no kid-friendly menu/pricing) and a lunch spot on Prickly Pear Island; expect a 30-minute wait for food, which wasn't an issue for us. The sea views from the restaurants were lovely, and the resort and rooms were consistently clean. However, several aspects prevented a 5-star rating: * Dining Costs: Restaurant prices were exorbitant. A basic lunch or dinner for four (one entree, one main, two kid's plates, no drinks/dessert) easily hit $100. This made dining off-resort essential, but options within walking distance are very limited. * Restaurant Staff Issues: Some staff became noticeably rude when we were mindful of our ordering, even pushing bottled water despite tap water being perfectly safe to drink. * Activity Surcharges: The resort adds significant, hidden fees to activities and taxis booked through them. We strongly recommend using platforms like Viator or negotiating directly with local vendors/drivers to avoid these markups and access more options. * Outdated Tech: Only the living room had a modern Smart TV with Netflix; other TVs were old, lacked channels, and weren't smart TVs (bring a Roku or Fire Stick!). * No On-Site Supermarket: Be prepared to schedule a trip to a supermarket to stock your kitchen; it’s worth it. * "Butlers" Disappointing: The so-called "butlers" were largely unhelpful to our well-organized family. * Kitchen Limitations: The kitchen lacked proper utensils and cookware for anything beyond simple breakfast prep. Given our experience, and considering our budget, we would seriously consider an all-inclusive resort for future Antigua trips. It would simplify dining costs and eliminate the need to constantly plan meals and activities outside the resort.

Nestled on a hillside overlooking the stunning Jolly Harbour, Sugar Ridge Resort Antigua offers a unique blend of luxury and tranquility. This boutique resort features airy rooms and villas designed with Caribbean modern aesthetics, complete with king-size four-poster beds draped in netting for that perfect tropical vibe.
Absolutely beautiful resort with all the amenities you could ever want or need including a full gym (there are daily hikes into town). The view of the mountainside, the Caribbean sea + the spa, courteous staff & divine rooms is all simply amazing. There is also a very nice upscale restaurant if that is what you want & there are daily trips to the beach. It is Quiet, Serene, Peaceful, Beautiful but yet there are so many things to do if you so choose. A++++

Enjoyed my stay here but can't really support the "luxury hotel" categorization. Good: Rooms are decent size, gym is well equipped. Sunsets at Carmichael's are wonderful. Staff are polite and attentive. Bad: The two pools are rather small and the food at the restaurant is mediocre. I would have regretted an all inclusive here.
Chris H — Google review
It has beautiful views and some members of the staff are absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, everything is ridiculously expensive, they charge 23% in taxes for everything. An extra 13% to guests of the resort... A shuttle to and from the airport is $90. One would think shuttle service would be provided but no. Do NOT do all inclusive here because the food is just not that good. Take a short walk down to Miracles for dinner, you wont regret it! Now the fashion show was a blast and the woman that runs the gift shop is a gem! The private pool is wonderful! I have not yet seen any guests in the big pool.

Sugar Ridge was wonderful. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. It’s on a mountain side so be ready for stairs. I’d say the all inclusive probably isn’t worth it but the breakfast plan is. You can easily walk to jolly beach or crows nest beach / bar from here and there are several restaurants within walking distance. If you get a room with a plunge pool make sure it’s in the lower numbers as the higher numbers don’t have good enough sun exposure to warm the pools. I will say they make really great french fries.

My partner and I booked this beautiful hotel after seeing the amazing views it provided. We loved how beautiful and clean everything was. The food was spectacular both at Sugar Club and Carmichael's. Very romantic and perfect for us. What lacked was the staff service. From the start, we would ask for minor things (info on nearby places, water bottles at 12am) and we would instantly get little to no help from reception or staff. I booked a spa day for us and the manager was extremely rude. Did not even ask us how our treatment was but was quick to ask another lady (i am hoping it wasn't because she was Caucasian and we aren't). My boyfriend is well off, we comport ourselves with manners anywhere we go but this lack of customer service was very disappointing. The waiters and waitresses were not too friendly. Even the hostess would give us issues when we asked to get a table for dinner, clearly seeing that there were about 10 tables empty. She would give us an excuse saying they were all reserved but when she asked her supervisor, voila! We got a table. We finally suggested to one the restaurant's managers and she agreed with us: she said she's seen the lack of correct service in the hotel. This is considered a luxury hotel and customer service should be top notch. I travel a lot and in many Caribbean islands what sticks with your memory is how wonderful you are treated. Overall, I would not stay here again but Antigua itself is a beautiful island with lots of culture.

Lovely resort with very friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. There are two restaurants to choose from:- Sugar Club has limited choices but there is something to suit most palates. This is where you have breakfast too.Carmichael's restaurant has views over Jolly Harbour to enjoy as you savour some delicious food and drinks. Shuttles take you to the most amazing beaches only 5 minutes away. Had an amazing holiday.

Sugar Ridge is a fabulous hotel set on the hillside behind Jolly Beach. The facilities are first class with constant care and attention to detail. The grounds are well maintained but since the rooms are set across the hill face be prepared for some walking although they do provide shuttles throughout the property. The staff is very friendly and attentive and go out of their way to make you welcome. A testament to the quality of the management team is seeing all of them attend the weekly welcome reception. We used the conference facilities and found the meeting space to be spacious and comfortable. The property also has constant WiFi available throughout the grounds. The exercise facility has lots of new equipment, and the pool and quality food service mean there are few reasons to leave the property although there are shuttles to nearby beaches.
Kate B — Google review
Standard rooms are self-contained apartment-villas that line the sloping 'ridge' down to the arrival area and restaurants. These rooms are spacious, tasteful and have four-poster beds supporting full mosquito curtains, even though these weren't a conspicuous nuisance. A shuttle service links the accommodation to a restaurant, exercise gazebo and small infinity pool set above the complex, and which affords spectacular views of sunsets and the panorama of Jolly Harbour and its classy marina. Overall a very memorable experience, quite distinct from the grittiness of the town centre some 30 minutes drive away.

Nestled between the serene Mamora Bay and St. James Bay, St. James's Club & Villas in Antigua is a tropical paradise that caters to both couples and families alike. This all-inclusive resort boasts an impressive array of accommodations, from cozy guest rooms to spacious villas, each featuring private balconies or terraces for soaking in the stunning views.
My trip didn’t start out the way I’d hoped—my suitcase was left behind at JFK, and I arrived in Antigua feeling a little sorry for myself. But as I quickly learned, it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it—and the staff at St. James Beach club said it all with kindness. From the moment I arrived, every interaction lifted my spirits. Yes, views were breathtaking—especially the beach view from my room and all around the property —however, it was the people of St James who made this trip unforgettable. The front desk check-in was easy, Captain Kenny, with his wonderful smile, took me sailing around the bay. He shared the history of the property and the surrounding area, turning a simple boat ride into a scenic, soulful experience. Later, I bumped into Mr. Igol, who offered teach me chess on the beach. He made it fun and surprisingly easy. A skill I plan to take back with me to play. And every evening, a staff member (whose name I wish I’d gotten!) ensured my dinner and drinks were perfectly paired—like the mango peach cocktail that was absolutely delicious. He even checked in at breakfast to make sure my morning started off right. This wasn’t just a vacation—it was a warm welcome away from my stressful day to day. This team truly understands hospitality. Thank you, St. James Beach, for turning a rocky start to my vacay into a beautiful memory.

Overall it was a great stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. Service for the reserved dinner time slots were alittle too slow, and portions were too small. We should have ordered a few items maybe if that is possible. We ended up stopping at the buffet for alittle more food afterwards. The music was always great to listen to in the evenings. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge chairs near the bar listening with a drink before and after dinner at the docksider. Disappointed about the seaweed on the beach, but we understand it is seasonal and is constantly coming in. Too bad there is not a better solution rather than the tractors and by hand. Like a net or something quicker. We felt bad for them having to work so hard on that for so long too. Didn’t realize how big of a resort it was and it is all pretty spread out so I could see how anyone older or with disabilities may struggle. It did help to keep us in better shape though.

The St. James is a very nice resort. It was classic in Caribbean decor and allowed us to enjoy a wonderfully slow island pace. The sargassum seaweed was prominent on the Atlantic side of the peninsula. I felt for the workers trying to clean it up. It's not their fault. We were in a villa on the bay side and it was just lovely. No sargassum issues at all. The staff were kind and thoughtful. We had the same waiters/waitresses each day, and by the end of the week, they felt like family. We enjoyed the daily/nightly entertainment! Thank you for putting so much thought into these events! My only nudge to the hotel is to improve the food quality and provide more breakfast options.

We spent six days and seven nights at St. James’s Club Antigua during the off-season, and overall, it was a calm and pleasant experience. The resort had a relaxed atmosphere with fewer guests and staff, which we appreciated after the busy Carnival season. Our premium room was simple but comfortable, featuring a double-sink bathroom, tub, and a balcony with a lovely beach view. However, housekeeping was inconsistent; our room was only cleaned twice during our stay instead of every other day as expected. Unfortunately, the beach had a heavy build-up of seaweed throughout our visit. While the staff worked diligently to clear it, the beach wasn’t really suitable for swimming during our stay. Food and drink options were average. I had hoped for more local dishes, but the Sunday breakfast buffet at Rainbow Garden — including saltfish, chop-up, and fried dumplings — was a definite highlight. For other meals, we alternated between the buffet at Docksider and the à la carte menu at Eleven-Eleven. Both were decent but not particularly memorable. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which really enhanced our experience. We also enjoyed spending time at the main pool and the children’s pool, both of which were clean and never crowded. If you’re looking for a quiet, family-friendly resort without loud entertainment or nightly shows, St. James’s Club is a good choice. It’s ideal for relaxing and recharging, especially for families with young children and older relatives. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we had a refreshing and enjoyable stay.

The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and accommodating!! The food was decent, beach wasn't the best but was peaceful and the beach bar food was delicious. Would definitely return and recommend only if you don't care too much about the beach as it is very seaweed full.

Overrated, overpriced and definitely lots of mis information in website. I was in this property from 11th - 14th October and this is my third Caribbean island tour and worst one. Lots of mess happened within this short period of time. Food: grade C. Lots of restaurent were closed due to low customer on site and everyday we had very limited options for meal. In website it’s not mentioned at all. Service: lowest grade. Out of 3 days more than 24 hours WiFi was down and after multiple attempts it fixed at last night. I booked cake at dinner table for my wife’s birthday with filled out a form and after all formalities it didn’t deliver. Finally, we were looking for photographers there but they didn’t help, however when I was suggested by front desk employee to bring photographer from outside, once photographer came they were looking for 75$ charge and they hold me 50 mins to clear my photographer and let us use car to go to spot. So we went for photo session at 530pm instead of 430pm and due to low sunlight it wasn’t good. Good thing was, management apologized and took off charge but it’s already massed up. Last mess when we left. We booked transport to go to airport. While we were waiting for car dime other company car took us and I found mid way if airport that we took wrong car but that car dropped us at airport. It’s a big security. But, this property has good natural view from room and restaurant. Only one positive thing I found. This property I chose for my family which has kids and senior member. Accommodation has multiple level and it’s has very risky narrow stirs. 4000$ usd for 3 night doesn’t worth for the food, service and accommodation we got. Don’t recommend this to book angain and suggest to look through more before book this property.

Beautiful Island. The resort is nice, can use some updating, but the staff is not very welcoming nor accommodating, The food choices/options was terrible except on Saturday, Found ourselves eating off the resort which cost more money. The activities they posted about did not happen. As a returning guest I was disappointed in not having the same activities as my prior visit, other than the front desk and the gift shop, the staff had attitudes, and was bothered when asked for anything. Also roach in room and also in coffee shop, and was a lot of work being done in the day time in rooms next to ours, so you could not get any quite. Spoke to Management but didn’t remedy any of our concerns. Birds also an issue at breakfast.

We had a good stay at St James in Antigua. We went in mid September so it was still somewhat off season. Note, if you go during off season a lot of things are closed or limited. When we went the Kids Club was closed the whole 5 days - they didn’t even open on weekends. The restaurants also have odd hours during off season and sometimes there was only 1 place open. There also ran out of things - lemons, limes, mint, etc and it was frustrating as we were there for several days. They ran out on our 1st or 2nd day there and still didn’t have it by the time we left. There was only 1 bar open past 10pm and they closed at 12am. There are no stocked mini fridges so if we wanted drinks afterwards it wasn’t possible. They also stopped food at 11pm even though this was advertised as a 24 hr all inclusive. There were many nights we would want a late snack and there was nothing open. There was only 1 area with AC and that was the indoor bar. They would turn down the AC though when it got late - felt like they were forcing us to go back to our rooms. All the restaurants don’t have AC and it was unbearably hot to eat. Service Service was hit or miss. I’m not sure if it was staffing issues or just the people but sometimes I would order a prosecco at breakfast and get it when I was leaving. They would have local hot sauce at one restaurant but not another and wouldn’t bother to bring it either. Some staff were very rude and just ignored us completely. The bar staff generally were all very friendly. Food Food was hit or miss. They generally ran out of the good food early on and the veg options stayed about the same even in different restaurants. The food either came out really fast or really slow and there was no way to predict it. There was no variety in breakfast the whole 5 days we were there so that got very tough after a while. They grilled jerk meats by the pool and ran out within 2 hours so not everyone was able to try it. Rooms The rooms were nice, felt a bit older and had some cracks but overall nice. Some of our other friends had rooms with leaks or bug because there were gaps so had a lot of mosquitos. The shower had hot water, a huge plus, but the pressure was very low as expected in a large resort. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We got the beach view and it was nice to wake up to the ocean. AC was great in the rooms. Blankets were just a sheet. Pools They have 1 kid pool and next to it a bigger pool that’s about 4ft. They don’t have any towels or bars or service there though so it’s not the greatest. The main pool is pretty big and goes as deep as 6ft deep. There is a bar open by the pool so you can get drinks but no place for food. They said we can go get food and bring it to the pool but it’s not always easy. They also have 1 adult pool, it’s got a waterfall and is nice but not as deep or big. Beach There was A LOT of seaweed. Made it impossible to go on the beach. The locals told us most of the resorts have seaweed because of the side of the beach it’s on. The only beach that doesn’t have it or has less is Coco Beach but there aren’t a lot of resorts there. They had a bay side which was nicer but still slimly from algae. They had water activities on the beach that were included and that was nice. We took the sail boat out once. Overall, it’s a nice budget friendly place to stay if there are kids on the trip. I wouldn’t stay here again just because it lacks so many things that I would expect from an all inclusive - good service, variety in food, AC, and late night food/drinks. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 — only because zero isn’t an option) Our experience at Jolly Beach in Antigua was extremely disappointing. The customer service was virtually nonexistent — unhelpful and inattentive. The food selection was very poor, and items frequently ran out with no effort to restock. To make matters worse, the cleanliness was unacceptable. Our blanket had visible mildew spots, and my husband had to kill small bugs in the room. That alone made it hard to feel comfortable. Even basic amenities were missing — we had no lotion or proper toiletries. When we requested lotion, we were told it wasn’t available. For a resort, that’s completely unacceptable. We only stayed one night, and that was more than enough. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. It fell far below even basic standards of hospitality.

Just came back from our 4 day stay at Jolly Beach. We were very skeptical about staying here because of the reviews we read so here's my honest opinion. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff. I saw a lot of reviews about staff's attitude and to be honest every person we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We got to the resort 2.5 hrs earlier than check in time because of our flight time. We were allowed to leave our bags with them and go to the restaurant for lunch and drinks after which we got our rooms; an hour earlier than we were supposed to. The rooms are small, no denying it but they were clean. The bathroom in the supersaver room is small but like the room, it too was clean. The room had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, toilet paper, box of tissue paper, hair dryer, safe, iron and ironing board. There's no mini fridge, kettle, water, tea/coffee. The rooms we got were to the extreme end of the resort so we had quite a trek to get to the lobby/restaurant/bar and it rained while we were there and there is no shelter to walk under to get there. On the days we spent there the food at the restaurant and buffet were good and well seasoned. There were bottles of pepper sauce in the buffet which we were happy for. The pool is big, clean and beautiful; the swim up bar is lovely as well. The main attraction is most definitely the beach, gorgeous, calm, clean and just a few foot steps from the pool area. We had a wonderful time at Jolly Beach, will definitely recommend, don't worry about the rooms too much because you won't be spending a lot of time in there anyways.

When we arrived to check in we were charged 168 US Dollars for tourists tax for 2 people for 1 week. We were then informed that they wanted another 200 Dollars US as a deposit, Wow!!! Then upon reading the small print I realised that if you wanted your room cleaned it would be another 10 Dollars US a day, not a good start for a so called all-inclusive holiday. During our stay most of the staff were really nice but unfortunately some are really rude and don't deserve to be working in hospitality. We liked the food, especially the burgers by the swimming pool. The rooms are very basic with a small double bed which to be honest was very comfortable. The best thing this hotel has going for it is location, the beach here and scenery are world class to say the least. The hotel swimming pool is also very good. Be warned that from Dusk until Dawn and some you will be attacked endlessly by mosquitos, they especially like ankles. Plenty of spray and bracelets mostly does the trick

THE MOST ACCURATE REVIEW. As a well seasoned traveller and have visited many places. This place is such a coin toss on what you get. So let's start at the beginning. This place was built in 1979 and is a very old building so you won't get modern technology here that you get in a modern hotel. However the hotel has old fashioned charm with modern touches tried to be added as a bolt on. The place is getting renovated in process as it gets spare money something gets updated. So bere this in mind. The rooms are very basic and dated with a temperamental television with poor signal on some of the channels. There are no facilities in the room. You only get an ice bucket and 2 glasses, shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and a box of tissues. However the balconies have a great view to watch the sun go down. Sadly I didn't get to see one of the updated rooms. The air conditioning and fan in the room worked well even with the open ventilation in the bathroom (patterned cider blocks that you get in a garden wall covered with flyscreen where people can easily look in as you use the bathroom). Someone I spoke to had a coloured glass window in there bathroom so there is quite a difference. The beds are comfortable and have a safe and hanging area. My room was one of the pre updated rooms so it will be a coin toss what you get. My room is one of the pre updated rooms. I am guessing the updated rooms are where people give a nice review. The staff are definitely a coin toss. June at the pool bar definitely knows great customer service along with the lady in the excursions information desk ( not the old grey haired lady she has bad customer service). The same with the reception desk the grey hair old lady there has very bad customer service I saw her with other customers and she is more interested in her paperwork than customer service. I hired a car (hotel arranged this). They said when I was finished they said leave the key with reception and they would collect it from there. The old lady refused to take the key so I had to hang around the reception for them to collect the key. It's the same in the restaurant some staff are great and some staff are terrible. So it's definitely a coin toss as to the level of service you get. The manager (owner) is a great man and will do anything to help so if you have a problem with a member of staff let him know and he will put things right. The food is very basic for breakfast. Only one hot meat for breakfast. Ether sausage or bacon ether day but never together. The omelette station is very tasty and a nice selection of cereal and cold meats. I didn't try the lunch menu as the BBQ grill beside the pool bar was very tasty. Much better than all the other food stations. Shame it's only open 12 to 4pm. The cocktail selection is limited to about 10 options but the staff are creative and ask them to choose and they can make some nice drinks. The evening meal is dependent on what day. It's ether buffet style which has a nice choice or it's the pizza restaurant. I had bad cooked pork there ( still red inside and juices flowing pink) and the portion sizes are tiny. The pools are nice. There are 2 pools. The big one with the swim up bar and hot rock falls. It has music playing when the bar is open. There is also a smaller pool that is much quieter. There are no watersports available. The only thing was an independent jet ski hire on the beach 60 dollars for 30 minutes. The hotel is on the beach so there is no long walk to it. There are plenty of loungers on the beach so no need for the rush to get one in the morning. The pool bar and BBQ is right beside the beach so very easy to get too. 10 out of 10 for the pool and beach. This hotel has great potential. Just little attention to detail items would move this from a 3 star hotel to a 4 star hotel Give training or sack the miserable staff I am sure there are plenty of people willing and better for customer service. Information package in the rooms showing what the hotel can offer and what trips are available are just a few to think about.

Review for Jolly Beach Resort: I stayed here for my birthday and honestly, I was disappointed. My room was up several stairways, far from everything. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room and was unstable around the property. The TV cable wasn’t clear, the shower was noisy, and the bathroom was very small. Lunch varied but was of poor quality. Dinner and breakfast were fine. The staff in the Palm Restaurant were respectful and polite, and the bar staff were great. However, the staff at the restaurant by the pool were not welcoming at all their attitude made the experience uncomfortable. I stayed my full three nights since it was already booked, but I won’t be returning unless things improve.

We just returned from our stay at Jolly Beach with my husband, our 20-year-old son, and 18-year-old daughter. The rooms are definitely dated, but they were clean and had the essentials — a safe (with a key), refrigerator, and a great shower head. Bathrooms are small but functional. There’s no daily maid service unless you pay extra, and if you want room service daily it will cost additional money. You can, however, request fresh towels and toiletries at the front desk. Our shower door leaked, but we worked around it with a pool towel instead of the foot mat and it was fine. The staff overall were friendly, though the pool bar service wasn’t great — bartenders seemed more focused on the upstairs bar guests. On the other hand, the Long Bar was fantastic, with excellent service from Patrick and Anestine. Patrick even got up with my husband and daughter to sing karaoke, which ended up being one of our favorite memories of the trip! The food at the resort was ok overall. The Pizza Factory was a nice treat — two nights of really good Italian food and one night of just pizza during our stay. You do have to make a reservation. The pool bar food was decent, with typical burgers, fries, and hot dogs (open 12–4). The buffet also had a good variety and plenty of choices for everyone. Off the resort, we had some amazing experiences. We visited Shirley Heights, which was absolutely incredible. The live bands were phenomenal, and even though it rained the whole time, it actually made the night feel extra special. We also did Stingray City, which was about an hour and 20 minutes long — such a cool experience! You’re standing in the water, so no need to worry if you can’t swim. There were tons of stingrays, and you could hold them, feed them, or just watch from a distance. Our ATV riding with Di-Fill was amazing! We toured half the island and saw incredible views — from steep mountainous terrain and huge puddles to beaches and scenic overlooks. It was such a fun way to explore Antigua and definitely a highlight of our trip. And then there was Kaikoconut, the floating tiki bar you can see from the beach. It was free when we went (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are free; other days you pay to get on). It was a blast — with water slides, food, and drinks (not free, but worth it). Definitely a fun little side trip. One negative was with the jet skis on the beach. They only had 3 jet skis, but they set my kids and me up and assured me my husband would be right behind us on a “fourth” that was supposedly on the way. As I started mine, the guy turned to my husband and admitted he didn’t actually have another one — but told him he could go out on his own after we returned. That felt shady. We wanted to ride together as a family of four, and he knew all along that wasn’t possible but lied just to get the sale. Very disappointing — I wouldn’t trust those vendors. The entertainment at the resort could be improved. Honestly, they should have a full entertainment team like other resorts — it would make a huge difference. Right now, it’s definitely lacking and needs attention. That said, the beach is the true star. It’s absolutely stunning — easily one of the nicest beaches I’ve seen in my life. Powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and sunsets that take your breath away. You simply can’t beat that view!

Nonsuch Bay is a tropical paradise that boasts stunning white-sand beaches and lush green landscapes, making it an ideal getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled along the eastern coast of Antigua, this picturesque bay is home to the luxurious Escape at Nonsuch Bay resort. With only 40 elegantly designed suites, each featuring its own private plunge pool and breathtaking ocean views, guests can indulge in a serene atmosphere perfect for romance or relaxation.
When I say this place is a gem!!!! IT IS A GEM!!! The property is BEAUTIFUL, the staff are AMAZING, and the food is SCRUMPTIOUS!!! We came to celebrate my man 40th birthday in October. He had almost just about the time of his life thanks to Nonsuch Bay. Months later he still swear the staff members are his friends lol. They ALL were amazing. The views were very beautiful and the plunge pool made this resort even more decent! Yes you have privacy so you can get as freaky as you want hunni chi. We didn't have one bad meal. Everything we ate was flavorful and cooked with love. The staff was so amazing. They really outdid themselves the night we had dinner for his birthday. We did the private dining by the water and it was sooooo beautiful. They gave him a birthday card and some of the staff we were familiar with signed the card. We rented a car but only used it a couple times during the day. At night we DID NOT DRIVE lol. It gets crazy dark in Antigua and the ppl drive CRAZY on them weird roads. We arranged for a taxi through the resort to go to Shirley Heights on Sunday and when I say it was poppin there....a must go. We drove to our excursions in the city which was a distance from Nonsuch Bay. Beds were comfortable, clean rooms, loved the private toilet area apart from shower. The last night we were drunk and fought for our lives (well babe did I was in the private toilet area hiding and laughing my heart out lmao) when we thought we saw a bat in our room, turned out to be a big a*s moth. Must've came in when housekeeping had door open earlier that day. Also it's really dark at night. I would definitely recommend this resort because babyyyy when we go back we are definitely staying here again! Thanks to everyone at Nonsuch Bay!! Yall dope af!!!! We had a Time!

This place is clearly not the place it was two years ago when we came. We arrived to a nice room but with horrible customer service! Any concerns you have need to be emailed instead of speaking directly to someone. There is a list of things they that will not provide lying on the table for our information. For example, we do not provide water, (you must buy it), we do not offer room service, we do not offer maid service, etc. We do not have wash cloths (only 1) and had to email them to ask for more. They asked why we need more. The gift shop is gone, the water sports are gone, and most importantly, the welcoming and hospitable staff, which was the reason we came back is no longer present. This is an unfortunate experience and I hope our vacation gets better. Management needs to make some serious changes, especially because this place is so far out and is probably more difficult to attract guests.

The Admiral's Inn is a unique waterfront lodging located in the heart of English Harbour, Antigua. It consists of several 18th-century buildings, including a 17th-century building set right in Nelson's Dockyard. The accommodation is split over two locations linked by boat, offering guests a historic experience with rooms decorated with antiques and hand-hewn beams. The main building was completed in 1788 and is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our stay was great. We stayed in the “Superior double room with Sea view”. Service was excellent, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and had the views promised. Food in the restaurant was maybe a little more expensive than in town, but not by much and the quality is good. So you don’t need to go into town to eat if you don’t want to. I recommend a short walk to the bakery for a like snack (not a part of the property but in the area) Pool on the other side was nice, but I found the food more expensive on the other side. And there is a boat to ferry you back and forth of which it will take you to galleon bay too. Is it the most affordable?, no. But in the end we did not regret it.

Our 2 night stay was perfect. We stayed in a stand-alone room near the boom restaurant, and couldn't be more pleased. They also have a boat that will take you across the harbour whenever you wish, you just have to ring a bell :) After we returned to the United States we realized we left a substantial amount of cash in the safe on our room. They checked the safe as soon as we called, and it was still there! They immediately wired the money to us ❤️ we recommend this hotel in all ways, from the peace and comfort provided, to the pride and love the admiral clearly shows their very special buildings and grounds. We are grateful for your honesty and gracious hospitality :)) Many heartfelt thanks We look forward to seeing you again soon!

This hotel is special. Firstly the location is unique but what makes it stand out is the staff. Every time we come to stay they make it feel as if we have arrived at a home from home. I can’t possibly name everyone who is special but to name a few Melinda at the Pillars restaurant, Shereen at Boom restaurant and Reggie at the bar are brilliant at their jobs. The food is excellent breakfast lunch and dinner. Love it.

Our experience at this inn was very disappointing, primarily due to poor service and lack of concern for guest comfort. On the first night, we walk in to a large cockroach quickly running under the bed. When we informed the front desk, the receptionist (younger black woman with pulled back hair) casually offered us bug spray. When we told her that we would prefer a different room to stay, we were treated as if this was an absurd ask, and finally after some back and forth with the receptionist, her supervisor (Shama) stepped in and offered us a different room for one night so we can sleep in peace and in the meantime, they would clean and spray down our room. The next day, despite being told our original room would be ready by noon, we returned at 1 PM to find it still unavailable. The same receptionist had a LOT of attitude and gave no sort of timeline on when we’d be able to access it or our luggage. This was especially frustrating because we had already checked in the night before—yet somehow, we still couldn’t get into our own room or retrieve our belongings. She was very passive aggressive and made us feel as if it was our problem. After some time, Shama came and told us that the room is ready. On our final night, we yet again stumble upon another large cockroach. We kill this one and reported it to the front desk. This time, the staff came in to spray the room with pest control, telling us it is recommended to wait at least 45 minutes before accessing the room due to the chemicals. We were not offered any other room and we were hesitant to ask, so we sat in the lobby for a bit. Concerned about the spray that was used and whether it is safe for my pregnant wife, we ask the white woman with short hair at the front desk about what spray was used. Without even looking at us, she initially handed us a mosquito repellent until we explained further about the situation. She was very dismissive, continued on with her paperwork and offered no reassurance or further inquiry. Listen, we understand that insects can be an issue in tropical areas, especially in a historic building by the water. The problem isn't primarily about the roaches—it’s how the staff handled the situation. This is marketed as a four-star hotel with a higher cost than others in the area, yet the service felt indifferent and unaccommodating. The only bright spot was Shama, who was patient, understanding, and genuinely tried to help. She handled our frustrations with professionalism and did her best to accommodate us, unlike the rest of the staff, who made us feel dismissed and gaslit as if we were being intentionally difficult.

High end resort on the water at Nelson's Dockyard, some rooms in the main house , very noisy, nice quiet bungalows across the water. The ferry (small motorized skiff, takes you back & fwd until 18.00h . After that a car will ferry you all hrs of the day. Large pool on the bungalow side with a restaurant "Boom" Very nice bar & restaurant on the main side. Highly recommended

A lovely hotel in a historic site. The history really brings this place to life and the restorations have been done really well. While the room we stayed in could use a little updating, the price was great so this is a good value hotel for the area. There are beautiful walks up the mountain to see some old ruins of 18th century forts.

Hotel staff rude and uncaring. They only care about maximizing profits at the expense of the guests. The food is terrible and cannot even pretend to be luxurious. The owners only care about themselves and have no consideration of providing any type of customer service. I would rather stay in a tent than give this pathetic excuse for a hotel another penny.

Ocean Point Beach Resort & Spa is a breezy hotel located on the northeastern coast of Antigua, offering casual rooms and suites, a restaurant, an outdoor pool, and two private beaches. This Mediterranean-inspired all-inclusive stay brings vibrant colors from the Mediterranean with a touch of the West Indies. The resort provides stunning ocean views, a pristine beach, and a relaxed Caribbean vibe for an authentic Antiguan experience.
What an amazing stay. The staff was extremely friendly (which important with any stay). They were accommodating and because it’s a smaller resort extremely attentive. This hotel is perfect for a chill, relaxing vibe, where you are looking rejuvenate. I have to say if you are looking for a “turn up” resort this isn’t it (which is perfect for me :)). The food was 10 out of 10 (we had the all inclusive option) and the grounds were well kept and clean. By the way… the bartenders are top tier!!! I definitely recommend

I’ve avoided all inclusive resorts but coming at the heel of a 4 week Caribbean adventure we thought to save money. We did but we’re surprised by the quality and comfort. Room facing ocean was large and airy, reasonably appointed, restaurant was table service for all meals, good selection, plenty of fresh fish, and the best goat curry I’ve had in years. Resectable wine and booze and great barmen. Great beach and pool and good location about 15 minutes from V. C. Bird Int. Great Caribbean vibes!

We had a great stay. Staff were brilliant and were extremely helpful when booking trips and locating a pharmacy on my behalf. The room was OK but the electrics are not safe and I had an electric shock from the lamp socket. It was reported to reception but not sure if it was sorted or not. The water pressure is poor and the shower trickles out. I'm not sure how this is fixed but it needs rectifying somehow.. we didn't let these things spoil our holiday as we had a fantastic time at Ocean Point and in Antigua. Every member of the team ensured we had the best time. Thank you. Ian & Cris

We stayed here for 10 fabulous days in April. The pool was fab and very much needed as was the beach for a quick dip here and there. The food was lovely and more than plenty of choices, we had something different nearly every night and the staff were excellent. Full english breakfast every day to set us up, light lunch and three course meal in the evening. The room was comfy with a large bed in a ground floor room just feet from the pool, plenty of sunbeds for everyone. Maybe take some earplugs though as noisy tree frogs chirp all night from sundown to sunrise the next morning. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a picturesque setting with fabulous staff for a lovely relaxing getaway to paradise

Lovely pool and beach. Beautiful views from rooms. Very very quiet! Not much night life, but that was fine with us. Do bring snacks because there is no store on site, and closest grocery is a 15 min taxi away. Happy lovely staff throughout!

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday here in April/May. The room was beautifully clean, the staff were fantastic, service was impeccable, the food was lovely, we want to return next year, but currently unavailable to book on TUI. We will keep looking. Pool and beaches were wonderful, no complaints, what a great hotel and staff. The hotel staff are amazing, all can't do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable, highly recommend. No coffee in the rooms but just down the hall, and water, only downside, amazing supermarket 10 mins away though where they do waitrose products. Fabulous shopping in the city, and Shirley Heights is worth a visit for the views

Staff and services brilliant. Nothing to much trouble. Food absolutely excellent at every level. Apartments need some serious update in interior design. Very dim lighting on grey walls with no pictures give the impression of a prison cell. Care of the Apartments however is good.

Lovely restaurant with uninterrupted view to marvel on the big ships and boats while having cocktails and mocktail. We had early dinner which was really yummy. Look at photos. Ambience is great, neat and tidy. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the sunset view which was a plus and also get to watched the kids practicing on their small boats. What better way to end our island hopping holiday. Amazing. Big shout out to Nikoletta and crew for a great customer service.

It boasts an outdoor pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens, giving you a peaceful retreat to unwind and relax. The hotel features 30 rooms, some of which are equipped with kitchenettes that enable you to cook your meals for added savings.
The Simone Beach Club Hotel is a hidden gem in Antigua, offering a peaceful retreat right by Dickenson Bay. Its prime location, just steps from the famous red telephone booth, makes it incredibly convenient for beach lovers and explorers alike. The rooms are spotless, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring a comfortable stay. Amenities are well-curated, with an indoor pool perfect for a relaxing dip and a cozy fire pit that becomes a favorite spot to gather and warm up in the evenings. The balcony experience is particularly charming, thanks to the frequent visits from cool little birds, which adds a lovely touch of nature to your stay. Overall hotel delivers on tranquility, convenience, and charm, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway

This a is very Classy Establishment , which you will want to experience and discover in your lifetime . Siboney is just off the Charts! It made be smaller overall in size , but it's very outstanding in its level or standard and service. It's thought out with great Details , with the guests comfort placed at the forefront . We wanted to check out late, for convenience for our flight, but the rooms were booked up . Siboney however gives an access to a room where you can shower and get ready in the event it's some hours your have to wait. I think that this is very thoughtful of them . Even simple things as , a key is used to access all gate areas , and it was raining the last day , and the main gate was left open so guests won't have to be fumbling in the rain in the event for some reason their key card dropped or any other reason . I saw this as thinking about the guests . The rooms are very tastefully created and modern and has everything with your comfort in mind. The staff has the sweet Caribbean flavor and warmth and gets the jobs done and your needs addressed. The beaches along the stretch is simply gorgeous and worth the waiting . I recommend Siboney Beach Club to anyone looking for and awesome and beautiful vacation. A Special thank you to Ms Joyette and D' Andra and all of the staff , the daily Maid service , and Maintenance crew . You all made out stay a really very special one . Keep the flag flying high 🇦🇬. We stayed at Seboney for our honeymoon and it was the worst decision we made. We arrived from Sandals in St Lucia where the service was immaculate and the amenities were endless. We arrived to Siboney where the front desk desk are friendly and helpful. Diandra and Joyse are lovely and welcome you in well with a smile and vibrant energy. Now moving onto the restaurant- by far the worst experience we encountered along with numerous guest members complaining about the rude and moody staff. The food waiting time goes up to 45- 2hours at times. Basic drinks to the beach take 45mins. Delroye usually takes control of the beach service and he is great however everyone outside of that are incompetent, rude and moody. One of the days we came down for breakfast and there was no food available, we just about managed to get a coffee and the coffee order was incorrect. We later arrived at the hotel for lunch and waited a hour for lunch, after chasing the staff they asked what I had ordered to which we then cancelled our lunch order. We had to result to eating biscuits and crisps to get through the day not eating. There was no remorse from the staff and a couple next to us mentioned they waited 2 hours for their meals. Now the only saving grace for this hotel is Sam who is an excellent new addition to the hotel who is hotel taxi driver. His vehicle is so clean, he is kind, informative and really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. His vehicle always has towels and bottled water for the passengers. We loved spending time with Sam 5*s for Sam only as the hotel doesn't even deserve 1 star. The hotel priorities outside users more than their guests. The cleaning staff do a great job at putting your room back together. This hotel has put a damper on our honeymoon stay and I wish we had booked Sandals which is situated right next to Siboney. I would avoid this hotel at all costs based on the level of disrespect you receive from staff based in the restaurant, they're just rude and unhappy people who clearly do not take pride in their jobs. As guests you do not feel valued or prioritised by them. A big thank you to Sam, Diandra and my lovely Joyse, they were great to be around.

Royalton CHIC Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort opened its luxury overwater villas in July 2024, offering three classes of villas with access to the Diamond Club and private butlers. The beachfront Inn at English Harbour is also adding new suites with plunge pools and butler service. Guests have praised the friendly service workers, especially Kalique from the vibe team, and enjoyed the beautiful island and surprisingly good food.
Just returned from a 5 day stay. Wife and I purchased the Diamond package. Rooms, very very clean Butler service, excellent Restaurants, staff was wonderful but food is questionable in Olympus and Pescari. Hunter steakhouse and Havens were really good. Vespa we passed on. That is the Italian restaurant and being Italian and from NYC, well you can figure it out. My one major gripe with this resort is the Diamond club beach side. The lounge chairs are on top of one another and any where you step you have to be extremely careful because of all the rocks that block your path to get to the waters edge. Very very dangerous!!!! It is a simple fix, Im not sure why it hasn't been taken care and especially that it is the area where guests have paid a bit more for the upgrade package. Pool is very nice, there are some tiles missing in a few areas, again simple fix. Something for Royalton management to consider is offering a shuttle bus to and from St John's maybe 2xs daily. Overall we had a nice mini vacation...

Beautiful hotel. My husband and I had a great time for our anniversary getaway. The beach was a blessing to look at! Everything about it looked like a page out of a magazine. It is your standard all inclusive. The food was ok, not amazing. My favorite spot was the coffee shop. The gym was also impressive equipped with instructors for general gym guidance, additional HIIT workouts and yoga classes. The staff overall were amazing and very much ensured everyone had a great time. I would recommend for my family and friends to stay here.

I gave this resort a three for an overall rating because although the staff was 5 star, the location to include the upkeep of the beach and ammentities were exceptional, my overall experience was disappointing in the resort. I was there when the tropical storm Jerry hit Antigua and the way that the resort responded was slow and lacked urgency. There was not enough food or staff to help get the resort back up and running without it affecting the functionality of the resort and all the guests felt it. However, my butlers-Nicholas and Rowan were AWESOME! I chose this resort to celebrate my birthday and during my entire time there Nicholas went out of his way to make me feel like a birthday queen! Melissa- in the Diamond Club set the entire tone for me with her smile, superb customer service and attentiveness Faithline- her professional and personal touch as the Guest Service Director was noticeable and appreciated as she tried to make things right for us all! She addressed every complaint with grace and black girl magic!

While I would like to start of by recognizing excellent staff : Christina at Diamonds club, Tamika at check-in and Lloyd who kindly helped show me to my room— these staff were outstanding. My overall stay was a bit problematic from checkin. My room was small and smelled moldy so I immediately paid the $735 to upgrade to Diamonds for the remaining 3 days of my stay as it wasn’t immediately available . The first room also had stains on towels, a fingernail on the floor and Cobb webs in shower. They transferred me from building 1 to building 5 which was closer to the rest of my friends. No washcloths in rooms was odd , especially after a room upgrade — at one point it took more than 3 hours for someone to bring them so I started requesting in bulk. Room service never showed up 3X that I requested and I was told to go pick up my food after being promised a delivery. Was also slow to hear from my butler and they are only available at certain times, plus overworked during busy season. Amenities on female side of spa wasn’t working during my spa booking so I was forced to sit in the men’s area with another gentleman. The staff did the best they could— I’m speaking on the property which is out of their control but should be addressed by management. Food was good at the grille ( get the oxtail) but service is slow. It takes about an 1.5.. also room service had poor options like burgers and fries and pizza for an all inclusive adult resort that is $300+ / night was a shame. Plus, food was often not available further limiting my options. The steakhouse was never open (see video) and a lot of areas lacked service staff. Diamonds special breakfast area lacked options so the main buffet was better. Sad.. Lastly, the gym was superb . Very comprehensive with excellent instructor.

I stayed here this past weekend and I am so glad I'm the type of person to try somewhere out before formulating an opinion based on other people experiences. The rooms were clean and the norm in my opinion for an island hotel. Much time wasn't spent in the room except for sleep. The staff were very nice and some provided exceptional service! Enough to where I can't even mention exactly what but just know they provided the best service! Special mention to Gibson & Cathy upon check in, they were amazing and detailed, Awilda and Angela in the Spa were amazing and the massage I received was top 3 best received, waitresses Jennastar and Marissa were kind and consistent every encounter, Jefflyn at Insomnia, Vernan, the pool lifeguard, Geron and Hassan at Hunter's Steakhouse and Brandon at Pescari were all great and engaging everytime I saw them to name a few! The food was absolutely delicious everyday and I have no complaints whatsoever. I would absolutely revisit!

Had a great time at the resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze on arrival - the cold towels were appreciated especially on a hot day. The rooms are very spacious with garden, pool, and ocean view options - recommend the ocean views rooms especially for special occasion trips such as birthday, honeymoon, anniversary. The bungalows are just WOW! Gentlemen, take my advice and get the bungalow. Reserve in advance to secure the room - the sunset views from here are breathtaking. And use the butler service included. Note: upgrade to the Diamond Club at this resort. The service and inclusion are worth it! Contact me to book with a travel advisor to reserve your tropical escape.

Review of Royalton Chic Hotel, Antigua – Needs Improvement I recently stayed at Royalton Chic in Antigua and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations—especially considering the high cost of the accommodation. While the property has potential, there are several areas that urgently need attention and improvement. To begin with, for the first two days of our stay, we did not receive basic bathing essentials such as a washcloth. For a resort positioned as a luxury destination, this was quite disappointing. Additionally, the first room we were given had a strong moldy odor, which made it very uncomfortable. We reported the issue right away, and while it was eventually addressed, the response was far from satisfactory. What was particularly frustrating was the lack of direct communication from the management. Although it was clear we were unhappy, the manager never once came out of the office to speak with us personally. Instead, a young lady at the front desk was left to run back and forth relaying messages, which was unfair to her and unprofessional from a management standpoint. Another major concern was the inconsistency in the level of hospitality from some of the staff. Simple courtesies like greeting guests with a “good morning” or “good evening” were noticeably lacking. Being acknowledged and welcomed by staff is a basic yet vital part of any hotel experience, and this aspect needs significant improvement through proper training. On a more positive note, the food was actually quite decent throughout our stay. I’d also like to extend my appreciation to Aja, Jim, and Opal, whose kindness and professionalism helped make our experience more pleasant despite the earlier setbacks. Overall, the resort has potential, but without significant improvements in management responsiveness, room quality, and staff hospitality, it’s difficult to justify the high prices. I hope the hotel takes this feedback constructively to enhance the experience for future guests

I woke up this morning to find someone used my sister and I’s information to sign up for the Marriott Bonvoy after staying here. There is no shuttle to and from the airport. Make sure you have cash. The trip started off fine. We were met with our complimentary drink. A cocktail for myself and a mocktail for my sister. The room was nice. Most of the staff were nice. You only get a complimentary dinner at the Pescari if you are a Diamond Club member. If not you have to pay. The best dinner was at Hunter Steakhouse. The dinner at Vespa was clearly all microwaved including the steak and at Haven we went for dinner at 8:30pm and they pretty much didn’t have anything on the menu left to serve. My pregnant sister ordered a burger from room service it arrived an hour later and she got food poisoning. We got a few snacks at the souvenir store and it came out to $71 USD for a few snickers and some chips. And finally I received and email this morning at 5:38 saying that my sister (who’s name was spelled incorrectly) signed up for the Marriott Bonvoy. We have since locked all cards.

We loved staying here!! Read on for full review of the good and some not so good :). Check in was great. The people that work here from the boat driver to everyone at both restaurants are super friendly and helpful. We stayed in GP 9 and our room was very private with a beautiful balcony with really comfortable chairs to sit on. Bathroom felt newly renovated. Room was basic but very clean! The pool was awesome. Lots of seating options- I saw in other reviews that it was annoying to share the pool with day guest but we didn’t find an issue with it. Plenty of seating to go around. And for island service. This place was the fastest most efficient restaurant we’ve been to! Things we do not love: pillows and blankets could have been a bit nicer. (It’s a hotel, these things matter to me! The pressure in our shower was eh. Otherwise great place, great location. Lots of things to do and placed to eat around. 10/10 recommend

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, great spa. I’ll personally tell you to ask after Shama,( the receptionist), Jerry ( the spa lady) and Pele a driver who made our lives so easy in Antigua when we celebrated my best friends birthday in jan2024. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel

The suites and setting are perfect for those wanting a relaxing break. The pool is perched above the colonial harbour like a timeless sentry. It seems to be a destination for locals and tourists alike to come for lunch and stay for the pool. The staff are welcoming, great fun and caring but none more so than Sharma, the queen of the Caribbean.

The food is very good and the ambience is breathtaking. I would say that we got value for money where the meal is concerned. I would love to see an improvement in the level of service given by the servers. This was my reason for not giving 5 stars. All in all I would recommend trying it out.

In my opinion there should be a sixth star.... superb from check in to check out... the management and team were personable and couldn't do enough for me, room was fantastic and spotless. How nice is it when they know your name and greet you at breakfast like its your 20th visit not your first. Cant say enough good things, what a great location too!

Antigua Yacht Club Marina & Resort is a laid-back waterfront retreat that features a marina, restaurant, cafes, and spa with a gym. The accommodation options include executive suites, studios, and guest rooms all with balconies offering stunning views of superyachts and picturesque sunsets over Falmouth Harbour.
Family of four, two teenagers. We really enjoyed staying here and would again. People with limited mobility is a not suitable option. Excellent view of the harbour. A/C is nice and welcome. Area is quite hilly. Staff are very pleasant. Came in the off season , June. Seemed relatively quiet all week. Noise from local businesses is present but not excessive.

I specifically requested a ground-floor room—no climbing required. I even went the extra mile to check in online, providing my arrival time and other details. Yet, somehow, the online check-in information was completely lost. At 3:00 PM, we were escorted to Room 31 by a buggy, and the experience nearly gave me a heart attack. The ride was terrifying—the speed and the rough reverse drive up the hill had me praying I wouldn’t suffer a vertigo attack or worse. We were so high up, it felt utterly impossible to walk down or even attempt to climb back up. Forced to remain in the room, we had to cancel our planned waterfront dinner, settling for a sad tea in our room instead. When we checked out early and went to breakfast, the resort’s “lobby” was just one tiny area with a couch and a small table for tea and coffee. It was clear there was zero consideration for health or comfort. In my 50 years of traveling, I can honestly say this was the worst accommodation I’ve ever experienced. If you're fit and can handle hills, maybe it’s bearable. But if not, this place is a nightmare. And as for the receptionist? They couldn’t have been any worse. Absolutely disappointing in every possible way.

Very convinient location. close to gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, beaches and water sports activities. if you like taking morning walks this is an excellent place to stay. You will never be bored at this hotel. Take a step outside and enjoy the views and nature

We booked this hotel through BA. I saw lots of complaints about the beds but they were very comfortable! The staff were warm and always very helpful. Finding the hotel was very easy from the airport. Its in a great location and free parking is just outside of the resort
Vandana S — Google review
The room itself was spacious, and the balcony had a nice view of the water, which we appreciated. The restaurants across the street from the hotel were also excellent and convenient. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. We were placed in a room at the top of a very steep hill, and despite informing the staff that one of us had a bad knee, the promised golf cart rides were unreliable. They rarely answered the phone when we called for a pickup, and on our first night, security told us they couldn’t drive us up—which we later found out wasn’t true. The room wasn’t very clean, felt outdated, and the bed was uncomfortable. To top it off, one of the water glasses in the kitchen accidentally broke, and they charged us for it at check out. Honestly, that was insane — if you break a glass at a restaurant, they don’t charge you for it. Accidents happen, and charging for a single glass just felt petty and unprofessional. Overall, this hotel has potential, but the lack of service, cleanliness, and guest care made our stay frustrating.
Ashley G — Google review
The rooms were spacious and very nice for the money. We went in low season. Service was ok but underwhelming. I would stay there again. The nearest beach is a pretty good hike over the hill.

I would have given them a 5 star but they don't have a pool and didn't have coffee available some mornings. They don't have a restaurant due to the lightning storm that burned it down.

Hotel
Antigua Village is a laid-back beach resort featuring a pool, two restaurants, and a convenient grocery store. While some guests have expressed mixed reviews about the room standards and its proximity to the Sandals resort, many find it to be an affordable option on the otherwise expensive island of Antigua. The location is highly praised for being situated right in the heart of Dickenson Bay, surrounded by top-notch bars and restaurants. Additionally, it offers easy access to St. John's capital and the airport.
We stayed here for 10 days in early December and thoroughly enjoyed everything at Antigua Village. Checking in was easy, we arrived early so they kept our luggage until our condo was ready. Our condo was very basic, comfortable and cleaned every other day. Swimming pool and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It was never crowded at the pool, a little crowded at the narrow beach, you need to "reserve" a lounge chair very early. The resort is close to the beach and the views of the Dickerson Bay are beautiful. It gets a little busy when a lot of cruise ships are in port but people are just passing by to walk further down the beach. There are some restaurants, local BBQ and a floating bar close by. Very easy to get a taxi near the security office. The security was pretty good but they slipped up a few times and people from the cruise ships snuck in to the pool area and used the outdoor shower, including disrobing in front of us. The security staff also came onto our terrace without notice 6 am to turn off the outdoor lights which is well intended but we should have been forewarned. One security man was attired with a hoody pulled over his head which was unsettling at that time of day. All things being said, we highly recommend Antigua Village!
Jeff F — Google review
Would absolutely recommend Antigua village to anyone considering staying in the area. Well located, the staff was phenomenal, and the room was excellent. There are two restaurants on either side of the condos that had good food and drinks. The beach was excellent, but in Antigua there are better, and worse. We stayed in a one bedroom efficiency condo and it was perfect for what we needed. We didn't spend a ton of time in the room which was fine. The kitchen was well-stocked which is all you can ask for. It was not spacious by any means but it was big enough for us.

This is a really nice place to stay in Antigua. The location is perfect. It's in the center of everything on the beach. There are restaurants and resorts to the left and right of this resort. It's quiet and very low key. The beach is literally steps away from the hotel. The last time I stayed in Antigua the location wasn't next to much. So this time it was a home run. From now on when I visit I'll stay here just based on the various options around this resort that you can go to. One bedroom and one bathroom, nice size living room that leads straight to the balcony overlooking the beach. I'll be back again soon.

Unfortunately, this hotel hasn’t met our expectations. There were quite a few episodes: 1. One day when we came back to the hotel after a long excursion, I felt a very strong smell which turned out to be a propane gas. The stove has been turned on for quite a while since the cleaning is mostly performed in the morning. We shared the building with other families, and propane itself has high risk of causing fire or explosion by simply turning on electrical appliances or smoking. This stove was probably enabled by accident by the cleaning personnel, but it was really scary af 2. Initially we had been given a wrong room. We arrived in the evening and when we made it to the hotel there was no reception personnel to ask about it. Next day after raising this with the reception staff in the morning we were invited to move to our real apartment at lunch, but when the time came it was rescheduled for ~3:30. We were not able to do anything until then and lost vacation time and money for 1 night in a wrong room 3. There’ve been missing pieces in both apartments - towels, dishwashing sponges, matches for the hob - we had to come back and request those and saw other people coming to pick up missing things too, or buy stuff ourselves.

The place is outdated, furniture is very old and not، you will deal with two different offices for one room, different owners, we had problems with AC and wifi but for three days they couldn't fix it, so we left and find another place. Will never recommend. Spacious inside, great view

Nestled just off the coast of Antigua, Jumby Bay Island - an Oetker Collection Hotel is a slice of paradise that promises an unforgettable escape. This exclusive resort, accessible only by boat, boasts stunning beachfront villas and estate homes complete with private pools and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. Guests can indulge in intimate beachside dinners while soaking in gorgeous sunsets or unwind at the lavish spa.

The airy accommodations are perfect for a quick getaway or a standard week-long stay. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, sundeck, and proximity to Dickenson Bay's bustling area. While some construction work was ongoing during some stays, the overall experience was pleasant and peaceful. The staff received high praise for their friendliness and accommodating nature.
We’ve always driven past this place over a long time ago whilst staying down the road and wish we knew how good it was. Well now we know. The manager was so welcoming and such a kind and happy person. The room was immaculate and so were the gardens. The cleaning lady so friendly and nice too. So was the security man who was such a gent. Last but not the least the lovely owner who made us very welcome. We will be sure to recommend and be back. Thank you to a lovely team.

I have no complaints, quiet, peaceful, sum construction going on as we speak, but it's not bothersome. I could live here if I'd import my couch from home 🤣 😋. Walk to the beach is close, the uphill on the way back, not so fun, but it is a short struggle. Def not for anyone with health issues, 2 mins drive back up. Spacious and serene. Grocery nearby by car preferably. Impeccable staff! I sincerely don't wanna leave on Saturday!

Pros; Arrived late and was checked in by the security guard who was very lovely and welcoming. Reception also let us stay a little longer when we had nowhere to take our bags before our fight. The pool facilities looked lovely but I did not use them. Cons; one of the towels in the bathroom was already dirty before I had chance to use it There was also some construction work happening at the time so a few power tools noises. Overall it was a pleasant stay

The Escape at Nonsuch Bay Resort is situated in Gaynors, just a short distance from popular snorkeling spots and 16 miles from V.C. Bird International Airport. Guests have praised the location and cleanliness of the resort. Some visitors highlighted the exceptional food and attentive staff, while others mentioned issues with mosquitoes but still appreciated the lovely rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food.
Had a great time at The Escape recently. The rooms are fantastic, and definitely worth the extra for a bay view. Food was good and drinks were great. Staff are very accommodating and made sure I was looking after with my nut allergy. Special shout outs to Maxine, in the serving team. Secondly, Charles behind the bar. He is a true gentleman. Some small negatives, the bath didn’t hold water on the balcony. Not a massive issue when having a pool, but the water would just drain as quickly as it runs. Service can be a little cold, but I don’t think it is rudeness. Once you speak to the staff they are really lovely and friendly. Overall, a great stay and will be returning.
Nicholas G — Google review
I had such a great time at this hotel. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient. Hannah, Micah, and Maxine were especially wonderful. On our first night, Hannah gave us helpful information about some carnival events, which led to us having an amazing time at a few of the fetes (parties). Maxine and Micah took care of our dinner reservations and made the overall dining experience a perfect 10 out of 10. The food throughout our stay was delicious, and the drinks were just as great. We had a floating breakfast one morning, which was such a unique and enjoyable experience. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything we had was fresh and very tasty. We also had a private dinner featuring steak and shrimp, along with some pasta—everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Shoutout to the chef for making that dinner one of the highlights of our trip. It was truly a wonderful experience. The private pool was a fantastic addition to the room and made our stay feel even more luxurious. I also really appreciated how peaceful the area was—very quiet and relaxing, with no loud noise or crowds. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish, and I would definitely come back again.

Had an amazing time, the staff were so accommodating and warm. The room was beautiful and quiet. The resort is on the quieter side of the island however easy to get to English harbour with the reception sorting taxis for us. Will definitely go back!

Never again. Posted a one star but they removed it. So posting it again. Unless you’re a fan of mosquito bites and the pungent smell of rotting mangroves, then this place for you. It’s overpriced and disappointing. What kind of fine dining establishment asks you to keep the same cutlery from course to course? Breakfast? You’re allowed to pick 5 items out of 7 — so if you want bacon, be prepared to sacrifice your sausage. We stayed for two weeks and felt unwelcome the entire time, thanks to constant eye rolls and tutting from the staff. Bar man and head waitress tried to compensate for the others. We arrived late and missed the restaurant’s cut-off time. No effort was made to offer us even a simple sandwich. And the minibar? Completely empty — not a single item in sight. Overall disappointing.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Escape at Nonsuch Bay for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The entire staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—while we can’t remember everyone’s names, each person we met made us feel special and cared for. The resort itself is clean, serene, and truly beautiful—an ideal spot for rest and relaxation. It is a bit secluded (about an hour from most tourist sights), but that only added to the peaceful, romantic vibe we were looking for. A big shoutout to Maxine, Charles, and Devon from Heaven! Devon made our boating excursions unforgettable, even using my husband's phone to snap the most stunning photos of us—we’ll treasure those memories forever. My husband has specific dietary restrictions, and the kitchen went above and beyond to prepare special meals just for him. We were so grateful for that extra care. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Escape at Nonsuch Bay, for making our honeymoon so magical!

An Unforgettable Honeymoon at The Escape at Nonsuch Bay We came to The Escape at Nonsuch Bay for our honeymoon. I booked it pretty impulsively, but after the experience we had, I have zero regrets. This place exceeded every expectation. It was the perfect balance of fun and relaxation, with just the right mix of adventure and peaceful downtime. If you’re looking for a true escape, this is it. The setting is quiet, beautiful, and serene, and everyone who works here is genuinely lovely. They accommodated our every need, and booking activities through them was seamless from start to finish. About a month before we arrived, I arranged our airport shuttle through the resort. A week before our trip, I booked a few extra experiences, all of it was handled with ease. I will say I managed to plan things out pretty perfectly with the timing of everything. I suggest giving yourself a few hours between activities to go back to the room and regroup. Honestly it is hard to leave the room anyway when you have a private plunge pool and tub steps away from your bed. One day, we literally did nothing but eat, nap, swim, repeat, and it was perfect. Some highlights from our stay: Floating breakfast on our first morning, followed by an afternoon turtle snorkel Massages the next day, capped with a floating sushi boat Sunday BBQ and steel drum band at Shirley Heights (shuttled through the resort) Experiencing Antigua Carnival in St. John’s with a local driver hired through the resort Swimming with stingrays, that was one of our favorite excursions Private picnic at a secluded beach (highly recommend for couples) Ending our trip with a champagne sunset cruise with Devin from Heaven, the perfect final touch Every meal was delicious, with plenty of variety, and I loved that I left feeling healthy and energized. Dinner often featured live music, piano, saxophone, or singing, and when there wasn’t a performer, the playlist was spot-on. The vibes here are immaculate. We truly had the most wonderful time, and I could go on and on. If you’re considering The Escape at Nonsuch Bay, just book it. You won’t regret it.

The experience overall was lovely… until the hotel became crowded. We stayed here for six nights, and the first two were truly wonderful—the staff was attentive, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and welcoming. Unfortunately, once more guests arrived, the service noticeably declined. It seemed the staff was overwhelmed, and customer service began to suffer. Breakfast, in particular, became a frustrating experience—waiting an hour and a half for a full English breakfast shouldn’t be the norm at any resort. When booking an all-inclusive stay, you expect abundance—readily available food and drinks, a touch of indulgence. However, with no buffet service and the need to ask for every item individually, it often felt like we were inconveniencing the staff just by ordering. It also seemed the resort was operating at a capacity it couldn’t quite handle. That mismatch showed in slower service and diminished hospitality. That said, I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews. I truly believe in giving credit where it’s due. So I’d love to thank the receptionist—though I didn’t catch her name—who absolutely stood out with her warm and professional service. And the room itself was stunning. With some improvements over time, I do believe this place could become something exceptional. It has the charm, the setting, and the potential. I really hope it continues to grow into the magical place it aspires to be.

This resort is truly away from everything and very quiet/peaceful and relaxing!! Everything from the staff, food, view, vibe ... this is definitely a Jem. The food was fantastic and changed every day, bbq night on Wednesdays (buffet style). Staff are awesome/friendly/there for you. The plunge pool and soaking tub on your private balcony was what made it WOW. Room is spacious with everything you. Need and a small refrigerator. And the view of the bay while in the pool from your room is awesome. Wife & I will DEFINITELY be back and stay here again !!

Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel, staff was friendly and responsive, the only minus would be the fact that they don't have on their menu, fresh local fruit or more of the traditional dishes.

Quaint hotel with excellent food but only 7 rooms. In a rural setting, not near built up area, so a rented car is essential if having an extended stay.
Terry T — Google review
Our brief stay at Weatherills was incredible. Flight issues left us with an extra day in Antigua and the moment we arrived to Weatherills the stress of travel disappeared. The property is beautifully restored with great attention to detail. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the ac was powerful and the bathroom had all the amenities we could need. The restaurant is *amazing* with gorgeous views on the wrap around porch. Our food was excellent, the shrimp scampi in particular. In the morning, we enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast and then explored the restored sugar mill that sits right on the property and has great views of the surrounding area. If you are looking for a boutique experience with a historic feel and modern amenities, then this is the spot! To the staff, thank you all so very much for making our extra night so special and relaxing. You were all incredibly kind and we loved getting to talk with you and learn more about the property.

We want to give a shout out to the amazing staff. When we had problems with our reservation Crystal stepped up to help us; she was completely understanding and accommodating. We hope to make a new reservation on our next trip to Antigua.

I usually don’t stay at hotels with a bed-and-breakfast feel, but this is a very cute place located in a very quiet area of Marble Hill. Beautiful grounds. Nice appointments. Helpful staff. And we loved windmill out front.

Resort hotel
Serviced accommodation
Tamarind Hills Resort and Villas is situated in Bolans, offering proximity to Ffryes Beach and Darkwood Beach. The location provides easy access to English Harbour, Jolly Harbour, and the capital St. John's. The resort offers luxurious amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, restaurant, bar, and tennis court. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a prime residential area with sunset-facing villas near two of the island's best beaches.
After several failed attempts to make it to Antigua—specifically Tamarind Hills—this visit did not disappoint. Known for its 365 beaches, Antigua soothed my sea-loving soul with crystal-clear turquoise waters. Tamarind Hills featured immaculate grounds, and our suite was not only the largest I’ve ever stayed in, but also beautifully designed and decorated. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious balcony offered breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the Sleeping Indian mountain range. From arrival to checkout, the staff—especially Manish and Nafuna—made us feel truly welcome. I only wish I could have stayed longer to soak up more of beautiful Antigua.
Teri W — Google review
What a waste of a wonderful opportunity. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Service was excruciatingly slow, and there was no communication. We had to follow up on requests multiple times. We were locked out of our room, and after 15 minutes of waiting, I had to climb a wall to get on top of the lower level roof to access my room and let the wife in. Maintenence showed up 40 minutes later.
Craig C — Google review
Beautiful beach, excellent rooms, access to rooms it is challenging you have to climb a lot of stairs in the heat, I see a lot of people carrying their bags on the stairs at check out I wish they will pick you up just like you get to be drop off at arrival but.. they got all your money why would they help you out? Room service it’s excessive never been in a resort that you get rooms cleaned twice and what do they clean anyways? Couldn’t figure it out… to the point that it is annoying, but if you call and ask for something they take forever. Food mediocre and overpriced, no options close by for food. Limited options on their menu. The pool, super small yet cute but too far from the ocean. Pointless infinity pool the view it’s straight to green lawn removing view to the only one thing worth viewing at this place … the sea. Other than the clear turquoise water that you can get at other paces in the Caribbean it’s not worth the price. Get an all inclusive resort with variety of restaurant options with better access to rooms, food options, better pool, yet good service that allows you to rest rather than feel like you got no privacy.
Yara R — Google review
We had a brilliant stay at Tamarind Hills Resort! The service was wonderful and our suite was absolutely gorgeous! There are two beaches and the location is pretty central to everything. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone travelling to the West Indies! We can’t wait to come back.

Spacious and very thoughtfully designed rooms. Really was great to see a welcome note encouraging conservation of water and mutual care for the environment. Staff were friendly, restaurant was top notch, and the beach was lovely. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Wish it could go a little hotter but it was nice.

My girl and I recently returned from a stay at Tamarind Hills Resort, and words simply fall short of describing the perfection we experienced. It exceeded every expectation from start to finish. Our great stay started even before we set foot at the property, A member of the Tamarind Hills team named Nafuna got in touch via email and provided us with all the pre-arrival info needed and services available during our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure the perfect stage was set for my girl and I to celebrate our anniversary. From arrival to departure, the service was consistently exceptional. The on‑site concierge named Adriano helped us get familiarized with the property and location, making us really feel like we were staying at our home away from home. He was professional and friendly in every exchange, making sure we were having a great stay and a good time in Antigua and at the Tamarind Hills. We also go to meet the property manager, a really nice gentleman called Manish. He was a pleasure to talk to as well. He wanted to make sure our stay was flawless and memorable, This level of hospitality really made us feel welcomed and cherished. Our studio was simply magnificent—spacious, immaculately clean, and elegantly styled. Housekeeping visited twice daily, always with a friendly smile and impeccable attention. Tamarind Hills is a true 5-star gem—luxuriously intimate, extraordinarily maintained, flawlessly serviced, and full of thoughtful extras. From the sweeping Caribbean vistas at sunset to the gentle hum of attentive staff, this stay became one of our most cherished getaways ever. We can't wait to return.

Great place for quiet retreat. Very nice sandy beach, and nice infinity pool. Wonderful spacious rooms with great view and terrace. Nice restaurant on premise. A bit far away from some major island highlights, but great to enjoy the vacation spot. includes kayak, and paddle board.

Our stay at Tamarind Hills was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we arrived, my girlfriend and I were welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal felt like a fine dining experience with fresh ingredients and incredible flavors that left us wanting more. The private beach was a dream: pristine, tranquil, and the perfect spot for us to unwind together. Whether we were lounging on the sand or taking in the ocean breeze, it was pure bliss. And let’s not forget the stunning views! Every morning we woke up to breathtaking panoramas of turquoise waters and vibrant sunsets that made Tamarind Hills feel like our own personal paradise. We can’t wait to return and relive this amazing getaway. Highly recommend Tamarind Hills for anyone looking for luxury, relaxation, and romance in one incredible destination!

The Catamaran Hotel offers a cozy tropical getaway with bay-view dining, a private beach, and a pool. The property features charming accommodations with coffee/tea makers and hair dryers. Guests can enjoy spa services and two on-site restaurants. The hotel's small size creates a friendly atmosphere, making guests feel at home. Visitors praise the amazing views, helpful staff, and the feeling of being part of a big family.
Amazing location right on the waterfront. We enjoyed using the kayaks to go and see the sea turtles bobbing up and down. Very quiet at this time of the year. Lots of relaxing on the sun loungers, watching the pelicans dive.

Pros: Ms. Fiona was very welcoming. Helpful after hours when we had issues working the tv.Breakfast delivered to the door every morning was nice. Grounds kept clean and tidy daily. View was AMAZING! They have a complimentary boat ride to the English Harbour ( restaurants and shops). Within a 5 minute walk to 2 restaurants, Cloggys or Sweet T's, and a Market. Cons: Restaurant on property never opened, even during posted hours. Did not adhere to "do not disturb" door sign. Still knocked and entered the room.(Several times) All pics taken from balcony of room 12

Considering the beachfront location for the price paid, this property is a good deal. Just be clear on expectations. I am well-traveled and not high maintenance. A few minor updates would go a long way. But starting with the good: --- Grounds and cleanliness of property maintained daily --- Simple, fresh breakfast delivered to your patio is a nice touch --- Hot shower guaranteed --- Nice location to several attractions on the south side --- Kayaks to use is a nice perk. Minor changes that would help: --- Need a microwave in the room --- Beds were stiff. A mattress topper option would be great. --- Update online info to inform guests that the on-site restaurant is no longer open. --- Have the groundspeople (sand rakers) wait until 9am to begin (0630-0700 is too early). --- Having stayed in a room close to the office and outdoor seating area that was once a restaurant, the noise level can be disturbing at night. --- Karaoke from the establishments nearby can be heard unless you close up and turn on the AC. --- Our room was "tired" - make sure all knobs are on the dresser drawer, normal size ice trays available, simple fixes.

I fully enjoyed every aspect of the Catamaran Hotel. My best friend and I have been coming here for the past 4 years. Ms Bailey and her staff never miss a beat in friendly hospitality. Now you can go to any hotel you like in Antigua. But this place make you feel like a home in paradise. It is an intimate hotel for groups and personal accommodations. To me The Catamaran Hotel is my home second home. I just can’t do without this beauty. My name is A A Johnson and I stand by this message. 🌺

If you want waterfront privacy from tourists this is the place to stay. The staff are excellent. They can hook you up with taxi drivers to go into town or take you to any beach. We used the kayaks and did some snorkeling. The staff keeps the grounds very clean. Our room was cleaned every day. Walking distance to markets and places to eat.
Darlene V — Google review
A beautiful location at a great price. The owner, her family and all the staff are wonderful! They all work hard to keep the grounds pristine. My son very much enjoyed the small pool, our room was right next to it so we could sit on the patio and watch him play when we didn’t join him. The beach is very nice with beautiful white sand, unfortunately once you get out 10ft or so it’s a very muddy bottom. But there are so many great beaches nearby we only ended up in the ocean at the hotel twice. There are some sailing dinghies and kayaks that the hotel provides and early in the day the water out front is like glass. We took the kayaks around the bay. If you do definitely head for Blake island. It seems like it was one of the oldest forts on the island and some of the foundation remains as well as a cannon on the beach rusting away. We also enjoyed watching the sailboats and massive motor yachts cycle through the bay. The included breakfast was always delicious! There’s lots of food options nearby and the owner gave us a rundown of all the options as well as best prices when we checked in. Sweet T’s is a very short walk up the road and was a big hit they often have events in the evening that can bring in a lot of people, so we tended to eat early if we went there. We also stopped in almost daily for ice cream. Whiskey (the adorable 3 legged cat) Likely needed a break from the love my son forced on him anytime we were at the hotel. I’m sure we will return!

Jolly Beach is located at Jolly Harbour, on the west coast of Antigua. The beach is known for its stunning beauty, with endless white sand and crystal-clear blue waters. It's one of the largest beaches in Antigua and offers a picturesque setting for leisure and relaxation. While the iconic hotel at Jolly Beach may be worn out, the natural beauty of the beach itself makes it a must-visit destination.
Jolly Beach in Antigua is an absolute gem! We spent the day here and were blown away by the soft, powdery sand and the crystal-clear turquoise waters. The beach is incredibly clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun. One of the highlights was the floating lounges—they were so much fun and the perfect way to unwind on the water while enjoying the stunning views. The atmosphere is peaceful and laid-back, making it an ideal spot to escape and enjoy the natural beauty of Antigua. Whether you’re swimming, floating, or just lounging on the beach, Jolly Beach is a must-visit. Highly recommend it for a relaxing day by the sea!
Andrey S — Google review
Possibly the most beautiful beach I've seen in Antigua. The water looks exactly as it does in the pictures and it was calm. There is a car park that is not that huge but I was able to find a spot. The walk to the beach takes a couple minutes as you walk on a wooden platform next to the Jolly Beach Hotel. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by vendors offering you chair/umbrella services.
Nicky G — Google review
Nice place to stay for few hrs. The price for the taxi is $10 pp one way, the umbrella - $10 and the chair $5 each - you can seat under the trees. The sand is soft but not fine as on Barbados beaches. Be aware the water is not shallow- it is getting waste or even chest deep right after couple of steps.
Tatiana S — Google review
Jolly Beach turned out to be really nice...beautiful peaceful beach...the food was good...they have 2 nice size pools and a nice beach just few feet from the hotel...There is a supermarket that is a comfortable 1 minute drive down the road and a 5 minute walk...I must say the property is nice and clean...gym..gameroom..activities...it was a good experience...free parking also...and you just may want a rental to tour the island 🏝 but its not 100% a must...but if you do get a car...they have plenty of free parking...when you enter the property...it seems really elegant and eye catching
Cliffy B — Google review
Relaxed three star hotel in an idyllic location, beautiful scenery and beach, with rooms facing the Caribbean sea. Food is basic but wholesome and tasty. AC in rooms is good but a little too noisy to sleep with it left on, however the ceiling fan keeps you cool through the night silently. Staff are always very polite and helpful.
David C — Google review
One of the best beaches. Crystal clear water and nice sand. Water was very cooling after a hot day. Jumped right in. Little place to have some food right at the beach. Went on a weekday and was not crowded at all. Come construction nearby.
M S — Google review
Beautiful beach beautiful weather. This was an Idyllic Beach Getaway excursion provided by Viking cruises, and it was well worth it. The drive to the beach was insightful with lots of scenery. Once we got to the beach there were plenty of chairs and palapas to sit on in the soft white sand beach. There was a covered bar/dining area with plenty of tables and chairs and clean washrooms. The drinks were good and unlimited. They provided us with a delicious buffet with more than enough food for all. If you go, try different sections of the beach as some spots were easier to get in and out of the water then others, ie there were some steep drop offs close to the shore... The beach is about 1.5km long and made for a great beach walk on a lovely white sandy beach in great sunny weather... just lovely, it was a great day!
Aaron A — Google review
Beach was ok… by far not the best we saw in the Caribbean on our cruise. Also the people on the beach weren’t the friendliest. We got sunbeds for $25 for the pair with umbrella… we were told there was WiFi from the nearby bar but actually had to be sitting down and eating in the bar for the password. The bar itself was quite expensive but we didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the food. There are also lots of people walking up and down trying to sell things. Personally wouldn’t return to this beach but we had gone on the recommendation of others, so maybe it’s just us!

Guests can enjoy mountain views from the terrace or take advantage of the nearby beaches and hiking trails. The friendly staff is attentive to guests' needs, arranging shuttle services and ensuring a clean and quiet environment for an enjoyable stay.
Awesome place to stay. Near beaches, hiking trails in a quiet secluded area. The villa also has a pool in the courtyard if the beach isn’t your preference. The rooms were neat and clean with adequate supplies for a short stay. Wished laundry detergent was included, it would have been a plus. The staff was very friendly and tended to our needs. There are some restaurants in the area, but a 15-20 minute walk away. The grocery store is about 20-30 minutes away, better to stop off and grab what you need first. There is a golf cart rental on site which will save on long walks. Would stay here again.
