Hotel
Nestled along the stunning coastline of Samos, Doryssa Seaside Resort is a polished beachfront haven that promises an unforgettable getaway. Guests can indulge in exquisite dining options and unwind by the outdoor pools while soaking up the sun. For those seeking relaxation, the resort features a full-service spa offering rejuvenating massages and body treatments. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the well-equipped fitness center to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
Happy a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel with my wife, highly recommend staying in the village and the Greek night was exceptional. Food was great, staff were attentive and the spa was relaxing. Waking up in the morning and walking straight onto the beach was spectacular. A great luxury resort and we hope to be back again. Highly recommend to couples to stay in the village. Main hotel is ideal for families.

We arrived yesterday to this resort, it is beautiful yes, but we are paying almost 900€ a night for a small suite and an extra room for our children and we got to the room, no minibar (just a fridge) no bottles of water, the cold water on the bathroom is to warm to drink. Also this morning on the breakfast buffet, hospital coffee machine no natural juice. Then we went to get towels for the pool at 11 and they run out 🙄. No pool chairs available. I won’t recommend this hotel if you are expecting 5 stars hotel service. If you are looking for a hotel on the beach is fine .
Encarnacion — Google review
Great location. Service was also not bad, but the state of the hotel was horrible. I have been to better 3 star hotels than this. I really don’t understand how this is a 5 star hotel. Also it says that the hotel has 3 pools, when in reality it actually only has 1. The other 2 are very small and shouldn’t even be mentioned. Too many guests compared to the number of sunbeds they have. Food was very bad and much more expensive than in Pythagorio. Pythagorio however had very nice food. Overall not worth the price at all.
NA — Google review
Positives: Close to airport, so quick transfer (can see aircraft take off from hotel - I don’t mind that). Pool, beach and gardens are very nicely kept Breakfast is great (I was bed and breakfast) Staff are friendly. Housekeeping cleaned and changed towels daily. 10-15 min easy stroll into town (my favourite part - Pythagoreio is lovely with lots of restaurants). Mini market you can get essentials like snacks and drinks. Easy to rent a car through TUI, I think there is another provider onsite too. Negatives: Too many guests for sunbeds, in fact, is the place too big in general? Unfortunately if you want a sunbed you need to get up at 7am - it’s one of those places… Room is OK but is a little tired. Also no kettle, there’s a coffee pod machine but they don’t refill the pods after the 4 you get given…? Restaurants onsite are very expensive and if you get drinks and food during day the € will quickly mount up. On arrival we weren’t helped with bags or shown where room was, at first the place seems huge and this was a bit annoying-not 5 star procedure. It’s not a quiet place really, lots and lots of young children, just to flag because this will sway some people. Beach is better for relaxing, the pool does feel like a holiday camp at times, again not 5 star. Breakfast is good selection but quite chaotic, queues for coffee machines (3) and the bread (1 bread knife…!). In conclusion, me and my other half had a decent stay, but definitely loved getting out to explore the island for some more peace and quiet on beautiful beaches. Don’t expect it to be luxurious like the 5 star badge suggests.
J — Google review
Very beautiful and nice location by the sea. 10 minutes from the airport, but there are just a few flights a day, so it's not a problem at all. Nice beach. Several restaurants with good food, especially the Greek abd Asian ones. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. Clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds. Nice pool area with the best sunbeds I've experienced. Spa and a gym with basic equipment.
Robert A — Google review
This is never a 5 star hotel experience. I have stayed in plenty of 5 stars in my life and this is by far not one. The buildings and facilities are worn out, dirty sunbeds, staff is rude (mainly at the reception, we tried booking a taxi through them and the lady did not want to help us). The highlight of our stay was the waiter at the beach bar Thanasis, great service always. The hotel is close to the center by walking distance which is convenient. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this place for a peaceful and 5star vacation. There are way better places in Greece to stay.
Paola R — Google review
If you look up etymology of luxury as you read this review, you'd see it comes from a Latin word that means abundance. Well, dear friend, at Doryssa Luxury Resort, you will find no abundance! The hotel runs out of towels and sun lounger and towels. Staff advised this wretched guest to show up at 5am to reserve what's available at the crack of dawn. We were also given a room without a balcony. Who'd have thought that a beach hotel would convert its storage rooms to guest rooms? Was it greed? Was it a few more old German Mark here and there? In Samos, there are better hotels available where you'd be looked after. This isn't five star. This isn't luxury. It ain't what it says on the tin.
Can D — Google review
This hotel is at best a 3-star based on service and cleanliness. It’s overcrowded (no beach chairs available, packed restaurants). It’s basically a package deal bus tour stop. Attaching photos of dirty furniture. This beautiful pristine island would be much more enjoyable staying at an authentic boutique hotel.

2Arion Hotel Samos

Hotel
Nestled on the picturesque North Coast of Samos, Arion Hotel offers a delightful escape just moments from the stunning Kokkari Beach. With its bright and airy rooms boasting breathtaking sea views, this upscale hotel is perfect for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. Guests can take advantage of an outdoor pool, unwind in the sauna, or explore the area with rental bicycles. The lush green surroundings create a serene atmosphere while being conveniently located near several beautiful beaches like Small Lemonakia and Tsamadou.
All crew are so kindful especially Litsa is very kind and more hospitable :) Rooms are very clean and have awesome sea view of Kokkari. If we come to Samos again, we will stay in here. See you next year :)
Zeycem Ş — Google review
The hotel is located about 40~60 meters above sea level on a hill just west of Kokkari, overlooking the resort. It was built in the 1990's and has since accumulated a loyal clientele that returns for the level of service that maintains the standards established back then. Indeed, it seems that many guests return every year. Overall, guests tend to be older than younger, coming mainly from the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic. The hotel has not undergone any major renovations, but is very well maintained and clean. Half board is a standard meal plan, all inclusive includes an additional served lunch and local drinks. Food variety, rotation and quantity are excellent. Quality is good, the dishes feel like home cooked, which probably is what the guests like about it. The staff was good as well, I have no complaints. Big advantage of the hotel is the hotel shuttle that runs 6 times a day between 10am and 5pm to Kokkari, Lemonakia beach and Tsamadou/Navagos beach. The shuttle is free of charge. You can also walk, the main road is only about a three minute walk down from the swimming pool. Wi-Fi is free, reliable and covers all areas of the hotel. A safety deposit box is not free and costs 2 €/day. Outside towels can be rented for 5 €/piece with an extra 5 € deposit from the pool bar. All rooms in the hotel are of the same category, but prices vary depending on the location. Some reviews have complained about noise in the main building (doors closing, etc.). This is true; if this bothers you, consider a bungalow. One review mentioned a hard mattress. I can confirm this, if you're not used to sleeping on your back, it might cause some discomfort. The refrigerator in the room is a bit noisy, but can be easily turned off. Air conditioners can also make a little noise; even if yours is off, there may be some collateral noise from the overall system, as approx. 10 rooms in a bungalow block are connected to it; it's nothing earplugs wouldn't solve, and if you're not that sensitive to noise, you won't even notice it. A positive surprise was that each room is equipped with an electric kettle and the hotel staff regularly replenishes some tea and instant coffee; this is not mentioned on the hotel's website. There's also ample parking. Overall, I can recommend the facility.
Petr Č — Google review
I’m honestly a bit confused about the high ratings. I’ll start with the good- the location and the staff are lovely. Super easy walk to the town of Kokkari and the hotel offers a shuttle to nearby beaches. The staff were all very pleasant, too. Unfortunately, that is all the positive feedback I have from my stay here. The breakfast buffet was perhaps my worst experience with hotel food. Every single thing, except for the fresh pancakes and eggs, was cold and stale. Even the cereal. I thought perhaps the first day it was because I arrived a bit late to breakfast, so the next day I arrived right when the buffet opened and the food was still completely cold. Next, as a few other reviews mention, the rooms are extremely outdated. To be fair, they seem cleaned well but I have stayed in hostels nicer than the rooms here. The mattresses are spring and have to be at least 3 decades old. And since the room is so old, there are not enough power outlets- you cannot charge your phone without unplugging the lights. Additionally, during our 48 hours at this hotel, we had three large bugs in our room and ants. I understand that to a certain degree this is to be expected in hot climates, but this felt excessive.
Bianca F — Google review
Excellent food choice at meal times. Great location, a short walk down the hill from Kokari. Rooms are simple and clean with a fridge and comfortable beds.
Mo T — Google review
Summary: The staff at the restaurant are rude. The hotel does not care about the trouble you will experience. We preferred the hotel for breakfast and dinner. It would be easier to eat at the hotel since we would not be very mobile with twin 2-year-old babies. On our second day, after breakfast, the employee loudly and rudely told us in front of everyone that the babies were dirtying the floors and that we needed to clean them. We already picked up what we could that spilled on the ground. We couldn't pick up a mop and clean it. We had to cancel and leave the hotel on the 2nd day of our 6-day reservation. We were victims of this rudeness. We could not find a place in other hotels for four days and had to stay in different hotels with daily reservations every day with two children.
Serkan F — Google review
The laundry service ruined $170 worth of my clothes with iron burn marks. They did compensate me for the laundry service, but the front desk staff said that any other compensation would need to “come out of the salary of the person who does the laundry” and “she needs it more than [you] do”. This is likely true, so I let it go, but I didn’t appreciate the guilt trip when asking them to fix the mistake they made. The rest of my stay was great but I won’t be coming back after the experience with management.
Ava — Google review
Nice and clean hotel - possibly one of the best in Kokkari. A great advantage od this hotel is the nice and warm swimming pool. I am giving this hotel 4/5 because of the impaired accessibility for wheel chairs and baby strollers. We had a hard time going upstairs with the baby stroller every single time. Apart from that in my opinion the breakfast and the dinner should be until 10:30 and 22:00 respectively. The customer service is really good 👍I surely will recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Samos
Kamil M — Google review
The location is good, but you have to use a path with stairs to go to the town. The food was very good and the prices for drinks and food at the swimming pool were reasonable. The rooms are dated and could really use a modern make over, but they were clean. No wash line on the balcony to hang your towel or swim suit, so you have to use chairs. The free taxi bus to the beach was a nice plus.

Fantastic stay at Samian Mare – a hidden gem on Samos! We had a fantastic week at Samian Mare in Karlovasi, on the beautiful island of Samos. What a wonderful hotel! Everything is just right: from the stylish interior and comfortable rooms to the lovely pool and well-organized breakfast. But what truly makes this hotel stand out is the staff. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcome. The hospitality is sincere and heartwarming. Anastasia at the front desk deserves special mention – what a radiant presence! Always smiling, always kind, and truly nothing is too much for her (or her colleagues). They are thoughtful, offer great tips about the island, and are always ready to help, day or night. You can feel that they love what they do. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed and tasteful. Everything is spotless, and you can tell they pay great attention to detail. Whether you’re lounging by the pool with a cold drink or enjoying a cocktail at the bar in the evening – everything exudes calm and quality. Thanks to this amazing team and the comfort of the hotel, we had an unforgettable week. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, hospitality, and a relaxing stay on Samos.

Very good hotel, friendly personnel. They even made dinner for our group when we arrived very late 🙏👌 I give 3 stars for the room because the noise from the road is pretty loud, although there are double glass windows, something went wrong when they installed these I think. Also sounds from the room next to us were also hearable, it was a 3 bed room for our kids but only with 2 real beds and a sofa, not ideal for sleeping. Better to book a room with 3 beds next time. Shower in the room was amazing, a rain shower 🚿 🥳 Food , swimming pool and service are all excellent 👍. So really the only - point is the sound from the street. **" Update*** the day before we left there was a note left at our door offering FREE extension to use the room until 14:00h instead of 11:00h, this I never experienced before and it's just another example of their great customer care 🙏🙏👍

We have been spending our holidays in Karlovasi at Samian Mare for the past three years now. We have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is always fantastic and the rooms are very clean. We are not treated like guests there, but like family. Thank you very much for the great and relaxing weeks. We are already looking forward to next year.
Marko P — Google review
Hotel: The facility is well cared for with spacious rooms, clean and friendly staff. Restaurant: Unfortunately, dishes that contain meat are pork and these are most dishes, there was nothing with beef. For people who don't eat pork, there is little choice left and you might have to eat outside the hotel for a change. Location/area: small and village-like, has its charms. There are no shops or other activities in the evening. It's quiet, calm and relaxed.
F.M — Google review
A clean comfortable hotel with exceptional service. All staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay.
Eleni K — Google review
We truly enjoyed our holidays at Samian Mare hotel STAFF The staff is pleasant, professional and reactive. Big up to the cleaning ladies who are always working, the hotel was always clean. HOTEL Great atmosphere and pretty new design. Beds and rooms were comfy The only downside is on the food side more fish options would have been perfect. Especially that we’re on islands where fishing is famous. BEACH Beach is calm, yet you have to pay for the sunbeds and umbrella. SPA We tried the spa for a massage and face treatment, I can 100% recommend the girl who is doing it. She is sweet and her hands are magical 🥰
Mariam Z — Google review
I will definitely stay at Samian Mare again whenever I am in Karlovasi. Their staff was very friendly and the service was excellent! I enjoyed that the rooms were well cleaned. Additionally, the breakfast buffet has very expansive options. I will be coming back and highly recommend for anyone in town!

Casa Cook Samos is a stunning five-star hotel that offers a visually beautiful setting for travelers looking to unwind and enjoy some celebrity treatment. The hotel staff, from reception to housekeeping, are highly praised for their exceptional service. This adults-only hotel features spectacular room designs and a swim-up suite with an impeccably clean pool. Guests can relax at the outdoor pool and bar or head to the beach with its comfortable amenities.
We spent a week at Casa Cook and had a marvelous time. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. We loved the clean minimalism of the buildings and the rooms. A swim-up is highly recommended if you want direct pool access — we swam every day. The bar and restaurant are right on the beach. Breakfast is a nice mix of buffet options and prepared dishes; the omelettes are a nice touch. The hotel is convenient to the airport and day tour pickups, and is walkable to Pythagoreio. We’d definitely be back!

I just returned from 12 days at Casa Cook Samos, and it was easily one of the most relaxing and memorable vacations I’ve ever had. The hotel is beautifully designed, the atmosphere is peaceful and refined, and the food is absolutely world class. Every meal was a joy. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the people—especially Alex. Early in my stay, I developed a painful ear infection and thought my vacation was over. Within one hour, Alex had arranged for me to see an ENT specialist, coordinated round-trip taxi service, and even helped me get antibiotics by speaking with the pharmacy on the phone to translate everything. He didn’t just help me inside the hotel, he made sure I was taken care of every step of the way, even from a distance. Thanks to him, I was pain free and able to fully enjoy the rest of my time in Samos. Without his quick thinking and genuine care, it could have been a very different experience. Alex is the reason this trip went from potential disaster to complete delight. His warmth, professionalism, and kindness truly stood out, and I’ll always be grateful. I also want to mention Sara, who gave me such a lovely welcome and personally showed me to my room, which was generously upgraded for free on arrival. Her attention and smile set the tone for the whole stay. And if you're heading to the spa, do yourself a favor and book a treatment with Cristina. She has a special touch and her care made me feel completely renewed. The whole Casa Cook team is outstanding, and the service throughout was exceptional. But Alex made this more than a luxury holiday, he made it personal. I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely return!
Valentino M — Google review
I liked the hotel - beautiful territory and rooms. Excellent cleaning of the rooms. The location is good, but there is a lot of noise from the planes due to the proximity to the airport. A very bad restaurant - no one meets you, does not offer you a table. You go in alone, ask for a menu several times. Then call the waiter several times. The worst food of all that we ate on the island. We have not eaten such terrible octopus even. We were not even asked once if we liked the dinner. The restaurant workers do not care about the guest. So we decided to take a car and go eat in other places where we felt great. The room service is terrible - they did not bring what I asked for. Everything was cold (they did not cover with a lid). They refused to adapt the basic dish that I wanted to order for me, since there was nowhere to eat because we returned the car. We decided to walk to the neighboring village, just not to your restaurant.

I recently stayed at Casa Cook Samos and couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home. The relaxed vibes throughout the hotel make it the perfect place to unwind. One of the best parts is how conveniently close the hotel is to both the airport and the town—making it easy to explore without any hassle. The spa was an absolute highlight! I booked a 40-minute treatment, but it felt like an entire day of blissful relaxation thanks to the skill of the therapist. Truly rejuvenating! The food at the hotel was another standout. Everything was delicious, with generous portions perfect for sharing. You'll definitely want to sample a bit of everything. If you're looking for a laid-back, luxurious escape with great service, Casa Cook Samos is the place to be. I can't wait to return!

Had an amazing experience at Casa Cook Samos, it is really top level hotel but at much lower rate. The food was delicious, breakfast really had every options that you may want also lactose free/low fat etc, any tipes of eggs and so many fresh sweets/desserts. Don t forget to try the burger from the room service, it s the best. The barman served me one of the best cocktails I ve ever had and mrs Cristina at spa does a fantastic massage. The service and quality of this hotel is impeccable. Highly reccomend for any type of holiday (I was there with a friend & we had fun but I think is also perfect for couples and families).

We spent 5 nights at a private pool suite, and everything was top notch. The staff was beyond friendly. House keeping was amazing. Our trash was emptied multiple times during the day, even though we didn't see anyone. The delicious breakfast by the beach was such a calming start to our days. We'll always remember the time we've spent there very fondly. Huge thank you to the staff there, hope you'll have a wonderful year until we meet again :)

Very good hotel. Everyone is helpful. Also the food is delicious. And the view was breathtaking. Room was cleaning every day, so if you does not make your bed a staff will do it.

Let me start of by saying WOW! Beautiful hotel with outstanding service. Me amd My wife stayed for a week for our wedding trip and we couldn't have been more satisfied! The food at the roofbar/restaurant was amazing, and the view over the sunset was stunning. The receptionist Erifili was a delight, always super helpful and always greeted us with a smile! Thank you thank you to everyone at the hotel for a magical stay!

After the bad experience we had in another hotel (Arion Hotel), we canceled and found an available place in this hotel, we stayed there, we left wishing we had stayed in this hotel from the beginning. We were amazed by the thoughtful celebration of our 2-year-old child's birthday. When we checked in and entered the room, balloons and cake were waiting for our babies. Thanks to all the staff. It was a very nice memory that we will tell about in the future. ERIFILIO at the reception, thank you very much, we are glad to have you.

Rooms clean and spacious. Nice view on the marina BUT rooms are very noisy you can clearly hear noises from the street and other rooms. Beds are short and mattresses not to comfortable. Old pipe system demands NOT flushing paper down. Disadvantages were compensated by good breakfast served in the hotel next door, nice staff and low price. It is good for few nights but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer. The neighbourhood scares by its abandoned buildings. Parking available.
Joanna K — Google review
In addition to its friendly staff and cleanliness, the hotel is close to the port and nearest beaches in terms of location, affordability and rich breakfast. It would be more useful if there was a glass cabinet in its small bathroom instead of a shower curtain.

Erato is a great hotel opened just after renovations in 2023. It has its own small beach just 40m from the hotel. Hotel still not finished though (end of June 23) we were woken up 2 times by a drill at 7:30. Hotel has really awesome food and pool place right over (30m) at Samian Mare hotel. Unfortunately, the drinks offer on allinclisive is quite limited, so can't fully reccomend. Great time at the Samos island overall!

Hotel staff is very good. They are very helpful and so kind. Breakfast is very good and it is given in the other hotel. The reception and waiting saloon is good but rooms are very old.The furnitures, bath's equipments are not sufficient. I think they are not steril enough. There are not shampoo, soap, shower gel.

Armonia Bay Hotel is a charming family-owned boutique hotel located above Tsamadou Beach, offering stunning views of the bay and the nearby fishing village of Kokkari. The architecturally designed building blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings and features sun terraces and an infinity pool filled with pristine artesian spring water sourced from Mana springs. The beach is just a short five-minute walk away, providing convenient access to guests seeking relaxation by the sea.
We really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful boutique hotel with amazing views and very friendly staf. Also the breakfast was very well taken care of with all homemade products. We already miss it and are for sure coming back!

Amazing view, great hotel, awesome staff, cool decoration. we loved this hotel. Pretty sure it is one of the best hotels in Kokkari. It is really close to Kokkari town. It has two Wonderfull beaches just a few minutes to walk(Tsamadou and Lemonakia beach). Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. We will be back for sure.

This hotel saved our trip last minute because of a problem with another accommodation, they were so kind and helpful to us. We came out of emergency and stayed for the service, the perfect room and amazing breakfast on the terrace !

The Armonia bay is a great venue with a staff that will cater to your every need. They're friendly, helpful and above all fun people. The breakfast in the morning is a buffet with a selection of local products, traditional Greek dishes and the regular selection of bread and condiments. You can asks for any style egg you want, free of charge and with a smile. The in house restaurant has great options as well, both for lunch and dinner. The pool has an infinity edge towards the Tsamadou beach, which rewards anyone that is up for a swim with a breathtaking view. If you visit, make sure to let the team tell you about their favorite spots. We really had a great time here. Special thanks to our two favorite staff members ;)

-Those metal chairs on the balcony makes lots of noise. Especially in the morning. -no trashcan in the room, asked for one still waiting. -the shutters on the balcony needs some oil. When opening the whole hotel can hear it. -the bathroom needs a water wiper - draw some parking space lines cause people really cant park - lights in the room are all too bright. Hurts your eyes - the view is beautiful - the rooms are clean - the pool is nice - nice garden

Proteas Blu Resort is a luxurious beachfront hotel located in Pythagorion, overlooking a sheltered cove with two secluded beaches. The accommodations feature traditional style with contemporary design, offering air-conditioned rooms and suites with sea views. The stylish suites come with private swimming pools and sun decks. Guests can enjoy free access to tennis and volleyball courts, an indoor pool, and a gym.
We had our honeymoon there last year in June 2024, and we had an amazing time. The hotel was beautiful, with a great adults only vibe and peaceful environment. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. They decorated the room for our honeymoon and a few days we were given a free upgrade to a suite. It was a wonderful surprise and made the trip really special. The breakfast and lunch were also very good, as well as dinner on the boat placed close to the sea. The beach was also very clear and beautiful, with a lot of fish to see. We enjoyed spending time there the most. The only thing that could be improved was the dinner, because they had many courses but it felt like less but more polished courses would be better. The best night was Greek night with amazing food. Other than that, we had a bit of an issue at first with the cleanliness of the room but when we brought it up at the reception they took care of it and were very understanding. The closest town is also very close by taxi and we spent a few evening there, it is totaly worth it to visit. We would 100% come back to Proteas Blu and would really recommend to come visit.

Had the most amazing time here… the staff is friendly, ambience is great.. my room was spacious and clean.. I love the beautiful gifts they gave us.. T-shirts, wines ❤️🫶🏾 ohhh access to amazing places.. and their breakfast options oh my God I could go on and on about my time here.. totally recommend this place ❤️ thank you for hosting us 🙏🏾 we loved every second. Hope to visit soon in the future.

Our stay at Proteas Blu Resort was absolutely amazing! On our first day, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink, and since we had informed them in advance that we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded our room to a higher category and prepared a beautiful setup for us. A box full of chocolates, a bottle of champagne, 20% discount at the spa, cute hats, and a room decorated with balloons completely stole our hearts from the very beginning. For the first two days, they also left sweet little gifts at our door, which was a lovely touch. The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking views everywhere you look. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling — they assist you right away with anything you need. The hotel is also very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. There are two main areas: the beach and the pool, but for us, the pool area was our favorite. Spending time there was a true pleasure — the loungers and beds were very comfortable, and enjoying the sea view from the pool was simply magical. Lastly, I have to mention how delicious the food was throughout our stay. It was a perfect holiday for us. Thank you, Proteas Blu Resort!
Gizem — Google review
The hotel’s breakfast is very good and offers a wide variety. Overall, the location is quite convenient — you can get to Pythagorio quickly by taxi for about €10. The hotel’s beach is also lovely; depending on the wind, the sea can be either a bit wavy or incredibly calm and crystal clear. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and during our stay, they gave us plenty of gifts, which was such a nice touch The restaurant options are a bit limited — there’s essentially one seafood restaurant and one by the pool. The menus are not very extensive, so we ended up going to the town center every night. It’s an easy taxi ride, but you just need to be prepared for the round trip each time
Göksu Ç — Google review
Hands down, Proteas Blu Resort ranks among the finest properties I’ve ever checked into. The welcome set the tone: smiles all round, an free room upgrade to a suite with its own pool looking straight out over the opposite coast. The staff could not have been warmer or more proactive the entire week. Dining was another highlight. Breakfast is a blast on the Panorama terrace, think omelette and crêpe stations plus dozens of savoury and sweet options, while dinners at the Simplicity Restaurant arrives in share-size portions. Even the room service club sandwich could feed two. Cocktails at the beach bar are poured with a decidedly generous hand. That beach, by the way, feels practically private. Because the resort hugs a small, pebble-and-sand cove that’s tricky to reach from outside, loungers were always available and the water crystal-clear. The property sits on steep terraces, but the electric buggies are a phone call away and zipped us from beach to lobby in minutes, great for anyone who’d rather skip the uphill workout. Location is another plus: Pythagorion’s harbour cafés and boutiques are only about 2 km away, five minutes by a €8 taxi, so popping into town for dinner or a sunset stroll is effortless. We also hired a car (the rental firm also kindly bumped us up a class) and explored Vathy as well as the lush Potami waterfalls on the north coast, both easy drives that round out a Samos stay nicely. If you’re after a supremely calm setting, lush surroundings, standout service and those little perks, buggies on call, hearty food and drink, Proteas Blu delivers in spades. I’m already plotting my return.
Fuz H — Google review
A very nice hotel with an amazing view of the beach and Turkey with mountains. There is room for improvement - especially more umbrellas by the pool, it’s almost impossible to get shade, which is a big problem in a heatwave. This also means that people are reservering the sunbeds, and it’s is impossible to get a sunbed after 10 o’clock (when the pool area officially opens!) The room was nice - but the furniture was a little off, and not a 5 star hotel worthy. Cleaning was for the most part very good. The staff are amazing - so nice and helpful. They were incredible. Breakfast was really good as well - many small dishes to choose from and omelets made individually. Very good. All in all - good hotel, needs many more umbrellas and something extra if it truly should be a 5 star hotel.
Kim B — Google review
Protease Blue Resort, has the location and all the amazing views you can dream of. And amazing service. This is what gives you a feeling of the 5 start. Very good breakfast also. But a big pain in a peaceful holiday, is that you will never get a chance to get a sun bed and if you get one, only one will have shade under the impossible to no cover from the sun. We had 14 days stay and no chance to get a Carban Sunbed. If you are up early in the morning you might get one or be ready for a fight to trying to get one. Sad And Very bad. Also the Aircon is not really working. Sorry I can't give more than 3-4 stars but we paid taxes for the 5 stars.
Kenneth M — Google review
The hotel is very clean and the sea is absolutely beautiful. However, I would also like to evaluate it in terms of price-performance balance. There are a few small but noticeable issues that affected the overall comfort during our stay. First, there was no full-length mirror in the room, which was quite inconvenient. Second, at the open buffet breakfast, the food items were not labeled. This makes it difficult to know what you’re eating — for example, whether a pastry is filled with cheese or spinach, or whether the cold cuts contain pork or turkey, which could be important for dietary or cultural reasons. In addition, unfortunately, the number of umbrellas is not sufficient for all guests. If you have breakfast a little later, you may struggle to find shade and end up in the sun. They also give you towel cards, but if you want to return your towel after 5 PM, you might have to wait quite a long time, which can be frustrating. Of course, these are all relatively minor issues. But when you’re paying this price for a bed and breakfast concept, expectations naturally tend to be higher.

We didn't stay at the hotel, only come to the spa, best massage I ever had! Friendly staff, hotel and swimming pool looks beautiful
Patrycja L — Google review
Beautiful small and friendly hotel with the best caring staff! Everyday cleaning and lovely fluffy towels changed every other day. Surprisingly you had to use the same pool towels for the entire stay and nor was the tea towel changed (we stayed for two weeks!). The WiFi was a bit up and down in the room but by the pool it worked perfectly. We got it to work at night by keeping the window open, thankfully there were excellent mosquito nets. We never tried the breakfast so can't grade it. The kitchen itself was very nice in the apartment but poorly equipped, for example no bread knife, only two cutlery knives etc. What little there was was however of good quality. A toaster, a frying pan and other utensils wouldn't have gone amiss. Nice size fridge freezer. We loved the outside area and ate all of our breakfasts there as well as some dinners and had pre dinner drinks. The hotel turtles was a cute surprise. ❤️ We wish we had been told on arrival that you could buy 6-packs of water at the bar so we wouldn't have lugged heavy bottles home from the supermarket when we didn't have to. We really liked the Tortuga Beach Bar and the beach itself. Friendly and fun staff that spoiled us and good stuff served. They also delivered dinners to the hotel which was a treat and the bar staff at the hotel laid it up on plates for us and served it. We also adored the hotel cats and appreciated the cat feeding point. Thank you Nikos, Maria, Lisa, Yannis, Josef and all the rest!! You simply made our holiday the best.

Loved Sirena! I loved the room, the spa (great massage), the breakfast, and the espresso. Didn't even have time for the bar or the pool, but they looked great. The people at the hotel made the best impression of all. Wonderful!

Really nice place to stay. Our room was really nice and clean. All places on hotels were really nice. There was a lot of space on pool area and some sunbeds were free every day. The staff was really nice and polite. They really tried to do their best. We really enjoyed all our holiday. They have a car rental service and rental prices were cheap. When we arrived to hotel they picked up us from a beach bar and the same thing happened when we left. It was really nice service because our bus from airport stopped next to the beach bar. Our kids think the best thing in the hotel was turtles living in hotel area. There was also little playing area for kids.

Amazing hotel with excellent staff. We really enjoyed our stay in this place, especially because of the friendly and always willing to help staff, the private kitchen, the nice breakfast, the swimming and the gym. And I extra want to thank the staff for finding and returning a very valuable necklace my wife lost during our stay. Also: the beach, restaurants and car rentals within walking distance and a beautiful view on the mountain.

Located in the heart of Samos, Doryssa Theorem Hotel offers a luxurious stay just a short walk from local attractions such as Castle of Lykourgos Logothetis and Nikolaos Dimitriou Folklore Museum. Guests can enjoy amenities like a steam room and a 24-hour fitness center. The hotel is praised for its great location, comfortable rooms with modern amenities, and excellent service.
I can't fault the experience we had at the Theorem Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location. We loved being so close to the beach and the port. Breakfast was fantastic - fresh and plenty of variety. We'll definitely be back!

Super nice reception staff. Every day a big smile on their faces. Pretty and smart room. Great location, near everything in the town. The reason for four stars is, that the breakfast wasn't that allergy friendly in concern of dairy-free. Only almond milk that you have to ask for, and that's not good for nut allergies. But there were a lot of other opportunities, so it was not that great loss for me. All bread is with wheat, but there is a gluten free possibility, that you have to ask for too. I didn't try it. Another thing is the spa. The jacuzzi was full of sand and not very hygienic. It's a nice room though, with steam bath too.

Excellent place right in the center just 100m away. Brand new hotel. Delicious breakfast with wide variety of choice. High quality service. Be aware there is no elevator in the building. You can go by car in front of the hotel but Google map doesn’t show the right way.

I stayed at Doryssa Hotel with a friend and overall we had a really nice time. The breakfast was honestly so good, with lots of options and everything fresh. Our check in time was 15:00 but the room was ready by 13:00 and they let us do early check in. While waiting they offered us welcome drink and access to snack bar. It was very thoughtful. It’s very close to the port, which made getting around really easy. The whole place had a peaceful and clean vibe. Very calm and relaxing, exactly what we needed. Also, the staff was super kind and always ready to help, which made our stay even better. The only thing I didn’t like, and it was kind of a big deal for us, was the room layout. The door opened straight into the shower area, and the shower itself was kind of open. You could literally see inside. Since we were two friends staying together, this made things a bit uncomfortable. I feel like the room setup is clearly made with couples in mind, which is fine, but it was strange that there wasn’t any option for friends or others who might need more privacy. Definitely something the hotel should reconsider. Other than that, everything was lovely. I’d recommend it to couples for sure, but if you’re going with a friend, maybe check the room layout first.

After the delicious and copious breakfast, one is completely ready to continue a wonderful day with many beauty to explore and experience on a magical island!

The hotel is really pretty, very new with the nice architecture and design. Super friendly service and good breakfast. We loved the fact that it’s a small hotel, so very quiet and relaxing. The room is rather basic but we loved the Korres cosmetics. The pool is beautiful and surrounded by the olive trees - looks super picturesque. It’s a bit far away from Kokkari so you rather need a car. Thing for improvement: it would be great to add an additional mirror in the room and improve the shower area. Also, the parking area is a bit tricky to park. But overall, it’s definitely one of the nicest properties we saw in Samos.

This place is great. We stayed at the armonia bay hotel last year (also their property) and liked that but prefer this one. The deluxe rooms are much bigger and everything is very well done. The pool at armonia bay is better but you still have access to it (right across the road). If this hotel was in any American vacation spot it would cost 4 times as much. Will definitely return.

The location is really nice but the price quality ratio for the room / hotel is not right. Bathroom water drainage in the shower catastrophic all the water 💧 gets into the room really bad 👎. I can see on booking.com and Google reviews that a lot off customers already complaining about it, but till now the same problem. Bathroom is really dark, need more light. Staff is friendly.
Patrick B — Google review
Semeli Boutique Hotel is a very cozy hotel where every room is a separate unit, meaning you don't have a lot of noise from other neighboring rooms. The receptionist was a lovely person who made it clear you could ask her anything and she would do her best to help you in any way possible. The breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of regular items, some traditional and local dishes and the option to ask for any egg preparation you wish for. The accomodation was very roomy and well kept. The balcony had an amazing view.
Stef N — Google review
The hotel management doesn’t have any integrity and professional attitude when managing reservations. We made reservations for two rooms in April for our vacation in July and we prepaid the full fee 3 months in advance. Only 3 weeks before our planned vacation, the hotel cancelled our booking with the justification that they are overbooked and can no longer accommodate us. This is the first time we experience such a bad quality of service and the fact that you cannot reach out to anyone from the hotel makes it even worse. Probably they found customers paying for higher fees per day for last minute bookings so they were so courageous to make such cancellations from one of the early bookings. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone out there. If you consider booking this hotel, please anticipate that your booking can also be cancelled like us at any time, so better to find hotels with professional service, credible image and higher customer satisfaction standards from the beginning.

One of the most beautiful stays on the islands. The place is not yet polluted by too many tourists, the hotel is well-kept, clean, with wonderful people. Special thanks to Mrs. Ioanna from the reception desk. Wonderful, warm, nice, smiling, always willing to help and with kind words, it's a pleasure to come back to such people also. If someone is looking for a quiet holiday, relaxation, beautiful views, mountain walks, this is the right place!

Everything was perfect but the top and the best is the hotel staff. I have never seen so friendly and helpful people. We had fantastic stay here
Mirka B — Google review
Recently stayed at this charming hotel, and I must say, it truly exceeded my expectations. The place has a cozy, intimate vibe, with everything conveniently close by, and the pool area is absolutely fantastic—perfect for hanging out one's leisure time. The hotel staff were incredible—always smiling, eager to help, and even teaching some words in greek, which made my stay even more unique. The food was generally excellent, with lunches and dinners offering a great variety of local dishes, including seafood. Like any dining experience, some of them were standout, while others were just okay, but that’s pretty normal. My only real gripe is with the breakfast. I had seen reviews on Google and through the travel agency offer mentioning that breakfasts are dull with the same options every day. Unfortunately, this turned out to be true. Some offerings like the scrambled eggs and omelets were dry as bone and there were only two types of vegetables, which was surprising given the wide selection at lunch and dinner. I also agree with other guests that the cocktails were overly sweet, making them a bit hard to enjoy. And while the travel offer mentioned table tenis, there wasn’t one at the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these small issues, my overall experience was fantastic. There were no long ques at the bar, the hotel grounds were lush and green, and the atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful. The location is great too, with Potami Waterfalls, one of the island’s main attractions, and the beach just a short distance away. If heading there, don't hesitate to visit the family-run restaurant upstairs. All in all, while there were a few minor downsides, my stay was still amazing :)

The hotel is a little old but still looks nice, the service is really nice and the food is fantastic, but cakes really disappointed me because they are frozen and they don’t bake them here. The rooms are a little bit small but nice. The location is pretty good because the sea is right across the street. The sea is pretty nice, but when here’s big wind it of course like every other sea brings all the trash and plants really close to the beach. All the car rentals are really close and few meters from the hotel is a nice souvenir shop where they dont only have souvenirs but also glasses for snorkeling, ice cream and more. What i love about the hotel too is the room service, the rooms are always super clean and all the staff is nice. Another plus of this hotel is the pool, there is an all inclusive bar next to the pool with different kinds of drinks. The only thing i dont like about the hotel is the lifeguard, you can’t jump in the pool and everyone respects it, but some drunk guys were jumping there and the lifeguard just watched and did nothing even when they were splashing on everyone, eventually some other guy had to come and yell at them himself. A really big problem about this hotel is the wifi that doesn’t work everywhere and is really poor. Also the all inclusive bar is really not worth it, they give you a really small drinks, and they dont mix them by themselves it does the machine so it tastes really bad. If you want a nice drink you have to pay for it in the other bar that is not all inclusive. Even with these problems with wifi and drinks i really enjoyed my stay.
Tondiss — Google review
First off the staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive. Everyone from receptionist to service in the restaurant as well as the cleaning staff were amazing. Rooms are simple yet very clean and have everything one needs. The food was simple, for an all inclusive offer I found the buffet quite small and not all that great. However if you are not too picky I guess you’ll always find something. The pool bar (included in all inclusive) offers a lot, if you want something like an Aperol spritz however you‘d need to go to the second bar which will charge you extra. The location is okay, I would recommend to get a car so you can explore Samos as Karlovasi itself has lots of abandoned buildings and not too much to offer

Very nice place good service and everything’s good. But the staff in the reception will not let you go if you try to learn Greek. My dad fell in that trap and they said if he didn’t learn it they will come to Denmark and learn danish. To prove if they can learn you can. But it’s a nice place. And jokes aside they are very kind and friendly and ask how your day has been👍

Very nice hotel, I stayed over for a week and I really liked it, there is a wonderful pool in the middle (1,2m-2,25m) with a kids pool on the side of it (0,6m). An old fashioned ,in a good way hotel, decorated with local old furniture. Very clean rooms, daily cleaning service, congratulations to the stuff. Breakfast was fine as well. The only issue is the soundproofing ....in the bathroom 😳...

Hydrele Beach is a laid-back beach property located on Potokaki Beach, offering spacious rooms and studios with large balconies in the main building and village houses. The hotel features a large pool area with a pool bar, two eateries, three bars including a piano bar, and a spa. Guests can enjoy free breakfast and amenities such as 24-hour reception service, TV lounge, and mini club.
I was traveling with mum (70) and dad (80), I have to say we had super comfort in the hotel. From the beginning of the reservation Steilos (the reservation manager) was really understanding and did his best about the room type. The hotel has beach access and the sea is awesome. The breakfast is moderate but the rooms are very clean - newly decorated, spacious and practical to use. The cafe at the beach shady if you don’t want to sit in the sun. Sea shoes are necessary because the beach is full of stones. The market in the village is quite convenient. The car park is sometimes full especially weekend time but it is not a problem. There are many places to park near by. The location of the hotel is just 4 minutes away by car and it costs 8 € by taxi. There is an airport next to the hotel but we were never disturbed by the noise because there aren’t many flights like big cities. Thank you very much for everything
Nihan G — Google review
We stayed in the "Village" section of the hotel, where three-story apartment buildings each have their own small pool in front—perfect for a bit of privacy and relaxation. The main pool area was peaceful and never felt overcrowded. Our room was very clean and comfortably furnished. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a good variety. The location is great if you have a car or don’t mind a short taxi ride—both Pythagorion and Psili Ammos beach are nearby. Although the hotel is close to the airport, the sound of planes is barely noticeable and does not disturb your stay. One thing I didn’t like was that sunbeds at the beach require an extra fee—it would be nicer if they were included for hotel guests.

Rooms are clean. Location is perfect. Personnel are very helpful and friendly. They have a greek night on Wednesday, it is very entertaining. They have pool. It is also good for kids. Car rental prices from hotel is cheaper than the one in city center (pythagorion). However, ı still couldn’t get my money back from booking.com for one day cancellation.
Rasim A — Google review
This hotel offers great accommodations, including breakfast and dinner. Car rentals are available directly from the hotel before your arrival you need to make a reservation, and taxis to/from Pythagorio center cost only 8 euros. While the facilities are a bit outdated and the minibar was empty (not even water provided), the staff is always friendly and eager to assist with any inquiries.
Emircan K — Google review
The rooms are okay (had 2 different ones) but the beds are pretty hard. The balcanies of the rooms were really nice and spacious tho. Although the hotel is located in the immediate vacinitt of the airport leading to conciderable noise from the planes coming and going. On the other hand seeing planes take off from so close was both a new and a positive experience. The beach near the hotel is very nice, with exeptiobally clean and clear water. Worth noting that the beach has small rocks (not sand) but it turns into sand after walking about 7 meters into the sea. The food wasn't the best. The dinner often had overcooked vegetables soaked in oil, overcooked meats which are weren't changing from day to day. The breakfast had sugary, almost soda like juices, mostly canned fruit and somehow the scrambled eggs tasted like dish water. One exeptional positive was the coffee, which was full and fresh even to my finnish standards. The staff was partly polite and nice, partly a bit unprofessional and rude. Regardless they did their very best to accommodate our wishes, which we truly appreciated! A special thanks to one Ukrainian cleaning lady who's friendliness and hospitality made us feel truly welcomed to the hotel.

Hydrele review First let me say this is not really a 4-star hotel. It may have been at one time, I don't know. But if you look up what a 4-star hotel's requirements are, this hotel is sorely lacking. The staff here is miserable, from the front desk right through to the housekeeper. Unhappy people are easy to spot. They did help us with requesting taxis or making a dinner reservation but there is no concierge or bell staff, as you would expect in a 4-star. The hotel property is on the beach but there are very few lounge chairs available. Unless you're willing to get up at the crack of dawn and claim a spot, forget it. You can't use the beach here. The staff is well aware of this situation, why not buy a few more? You charge for the chairs, anyway. I must mention that they did pick us up from the airport, with only a tip to the driver. The hotel is about 6 minutes from the airport and we appreciated the service after a long day of travel. As for the experience at the hotel: The rooms are nothing more than adequate. You have to put your own top sheet on the bed and no blanket is provided. Plastic curtains. There is a safe in each room. When I needed help figuring out the instructions (they were the wrong instructions for my safe) I was told it would cost €2 per day to use it (again not a 4-star situation) --but the man at the desk said I could use it without extra charge. Thank you! Not enough towels in the bathroom, but there is a mini fridge and they provide 2 small bottles of water for your stay, no matter how long you're there. Hot water for the shower is about every other day. The shower was so small that you had to turn the water off in order to soap up or shampoo, as there was no way to avoid the overhead water stream (which had great water pressure!). Want to shave your legs? Open the shower door & put your foot on the toilet. They tell you there's free WiFi, but my phone was always pointing out that the WiFi was turned off. Maddening! Breakfast was included, and we tried it twice. It's a buffet where all of the food is open, shared serving spoons and a cutting board with bread that everyone touches to cut. I was afraid of catching something & the food was not worth any risk. We found a coffee shop and a bakery in Pythagoreo which were great. On Wednesday nights they host a Greek Dance Party in their awful bar. The music is okay and the dancers looked like they were learning for the first time. Music kept me awake until just before midnight. All in all, I would suggest booking your summer stay as early as possible and stay at one of the nicer hotels in the area.
Janice C — Google review
Staff NOT welcoming. Rude responses. When I asked for a bottled water the first thing out of the man's mouth was "we are going to charge you". He was very unpleasant as with most of the staff. They only give you 2 packets of Nescafe on the first day, then you have to buy your own. Internet service was terrible! The shower was the only good thing..except no soap. Limited towels. No face cloths. You would think the cleaning lady would automatically fill the soap dispenser?? Location is quiet. Beach doesn't have enough chairs. Town is close but you have to taxi as no sidewalks.
Lisa H — Google review
The hotel is on a great location, just by the sea having its own beach. You can go to the center of the Pythagorio on foot in 30 minutes even at night. The road is flat by the sea ana safe. When it is not too windy the sea is cam and peaceful and crystal clear. I loved the coolness of the water, it feels refreshed. The hotel, especially the rooms are very clean. The View form the balcony was good. There are a couple of need for improvement like addtional ligthing and some racks to the bathroom, and the beds could be a little bit more comfortable. But in general We had a comfy stay. The beach and the cafe is well organized. Also, there is a minimarket in the hotel that you do not need to go to center. The breakfast was good and satisfactory, but a couple of different tastes can be added daily. One day we tried the dinner, you can find something to eat but it can be improved considering the hotels quality. The management and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Doryssa Boutique Hotel is a modern and sleek hotel located in Pythagoreio, just 1.8 km from Potokaki beach. The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, and free private parking. Guests can enjoy room service, dine at the on-site restaurant, or relax on the terrace. The property is praised for its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities including the fantastic pool area for relaxation.
A gorgeous and modest little boutique hotel set slightly away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to outside amenities if desired. The staff were all wonderful, kind and helpful. We visited end of May early June, a perfectly balanced and relatively quiet time of the year to visit. The pool and cabanas for us were blissful and wonderful. Food, drink and hospitality were excellent. The manager was kind, caring and incredibly thoughtful, we are truly thankful to her for making our stay a very special one. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 year wedding anniversary here and would definitely recommend as a romantic place to stay. Humble, minimalist and special, we are very grateful and thankful.

What a wonderful hotel! Everything was beautiful- the rooms, the shared areas (pool, dining area), and the overall atmosphere. But what really stood out was the service: absolutely spectacular! Every employee greeted us warmly with a smile and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay stress-free and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Cute little hotel with an amazing pool area. +good and quiet a/c inside the room +friendly and attentive service +room cleaning was exceptional +beautiful and relaxed pool area, there was always space on the sun beds! +adults only was a big plus for us +almost all food was amazing. Our favourites were greek salad and club toast. +breakfast fresh and plenty of healthy options to choose from -not great sound isolation in the rooms, we had a heavy stepper upstairs and it really bothered during the nights -some planks sticking out around the pool that could be potentially dangerous if someone doesn’t notice it -the pool area is next to a busy street, sometimes the constant traffic sound was a bit disturbing but not always -pool bar open only until 20:00 so you have to go to town every evening to get food and drinks (or visit the grocery store next to the hotel..) And lastly, it is a few kilometres from town but we knew it before and it didn’t bother us. We quite enjoyed having that walk in the evening after eating - good to get some steps and fresh air! ✨

We had chance to experience staying at Doryssa. Long story short; it was one of the best holidays of our life! First of all location of the entity is so close to Pythagorion centre (2 mins by car) and is a really quiet place. A big car parking lot there in front of the entity is. Entity garden, bar, pool area all super clean. Staff always has a warming smile on their faces and ready to help you at any time about any topic. They are super professionals. Rooms were so clean and made us feel special. A bottle of champagne is waiting to welcome you to your happy place. From ear cleaner to shaving set; every detail has been taken into consideration for you. Such a gentle idea! Need to talk about food for pages, all products they served were fresh and delicious. Felt like we did have breakfast at a five star lux hotel everytime. (Thanks to muslim queen of the kitchen, such talented hands!) If you are looking for a comfortable and class holiday, choose this place without hesitation. Thanks to all staff for their kind hospitality. Eagerly hope to see you again soon!

Livadaki Beach bar in Samos is a hidden gem located in the island's northeast region. The beach offers a stunning natural setting with its secluded cove and beautiful sandy shores. Despite being popular, it never feels overcrowded. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as sun loungers, umbrellas, and beachside restaurants and bars.
The place was amazing, every detailed was considered so detailed and fancy. You can get the taste from different cultures when you realize the decoration. The place of the owner was such a gentleman and friendly person. Was great to have conversation with him. We did not pay anything for sunbed and umbrella. Just paid for the drinks and the food that we ate. For the families who go there the sea is not deep for a while so it s great for the families also. Thanks for this wonderful time .

A lovely beach with deep-sea walks. Since it's in a cove, there are a few waves and a fair amount of wind, but this is very pleasant on hot days. You can lie down for free on the unreserved sunbeds, though you are expected to order at least one drink. However, we spent €40 eating and drinking here and spent half the day relaxing. There are also three canoes available for free use...in a word, fantastic. At the end of the paved road you drive 4km on a sandy path, but don't worry, it is very passable.
Sander K — Google review
Wonderfull beach!! Very comfortable! We had a very pleasant time. Beds and beach chairs for free, drinks for very affordable prices. A little bit difficult to reach but certainly worth seeing. We ll certainly come again
HOCK E — Google review
Don't be put off by the sandy road to get there, it is easy to drive on and the beach is absolutely worth it! The sea is incredibly calm and shallow for a long way out. What really makes this spot stand out is the fantastic variety of seating. They have sun loungers, daybeds, bean bags and tables, all free to use if you buy a drink or a snack (at reasonable prices). The staff is super friendly and not pushy at all. You can also use the kayaks for free, and there are clean toilets and a changing room. We visited at the end of September and it was wonderfully quiet with plenty of space.
Lynn A — Google review
It was a very nice beach, food (especially the beef burger) and drinks have arrived fast and they were tasty. I suggest wearing a sea shoe because there re pebbles on the ground and inside water as well, almost no sand near the water. Beach itself is kinda popular so u may want to arrive early in the morning and get a seat, or else if u end up arriving around 10-12 in the morning u will have to wait around an hour or more just to get a sunbed.
Luciel — Google review
Best beach of Samos, thanks to the wide variety of beds (simple or luxurious), easy access to drinks and food at the bar and the kind staff. We went outside the busy season so we had plenty of choice in beds and it was not so crowded. Bathroom, changing room, showers are all there. The best way to reach the beach is by car (and drive calm and carefully).
Hugo V — Google review
Great view, food and service. We got to meet the owner Yanis and what a fantastic guy who's owned this place for over 20 years. A little bumpy gravel road to get there, but we were in a small rental car, took it easy and had zero issues getting in and out.
Tim I — Google review
For me, it was simply perfect! You don’t have to pay extra for a sunbed; there’s just a total spending limit of €15, which is very reasonable. The service is quick, the staff are super friendly, and they bring everything right to your table. The sea is a bit rocky at the entrance, but then it turns into sand and isn’t too deep. The water is crystal clear and clean — swimming here was such a pleasure. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We were really impressed and would definitely love to come back!

The Samos Wine Museum, established in 1934, is located in a stunning 19th-century stone building that was once a private winery. The museum showcases traditional wine-making equipment, historical photographs, and an impressive room filled with large barrels. Visitors can take a tour to learn about the rich history of Samian wines and even indulge in a wine-tasting experience featuring various local wines, particularly the popular Muscat variety.
Small, but very nice museum to visit, the vine type that are found here, won many international contests, and of course you can also buy different types, to take away. I had very good mood to be here, and is not from the wine tasting for sure. Also very friendly and helpful stuff, explained toe everything I need to know.

A really nice museum with a lot of information. They also have YouTube videos as a way to get a “guided tour”, but I felt like I got just as much from reading the plaques with information. The tasting of the wines at the end were easy/low maintance - but it don’t necessarily think this is a bad thing (I see some negative reviews for this). I got enough information about the wines, got a good taste, and know what wines I would like to order and buy outside of the museum. Staff super friendly! I also dropped by a few days later as they have some Samos honey I haven’t been able to find other places. Highly recommend a visit - it takes 30-60 minutes for the whole visit.
Cecilie T — Google review
I only gave it 4 stars as if it was a guide tour it would be 5 . A good display on the history of wine making on Samos. Tasted about 6 different wines . Brought the 6 year aged Nector . As limited on what we could take back to Australia. Thank you to the staff .

Kerveli Beach is a hidden gem located about 7 km southeast of Vathy, the capital of Samos. Tucked away at the bottom of a hill, this unorganized and secluded beach boasts white pebbles and stunning emerald waters. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a tranquil setting for relaxation. The small cove provides ample shade from trees and clear waters perfect for swimming.
Little piece of paradise. The beach is small but it’s not touristic at all. I mainly found Greek tourists and very few of them. The day we went, the sea was calm and so transparent. You have nice rocks to snorkel too! Of course, a lot of fishes were there waiting for us. Nice cafe and restaurant nearby. Lots of place in the shadow. You can have a relaxing sun bed as well, if you want.
Alberto P — Google review
We visited Kerveli Beach in Samos, and it is honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The sea is crystal clear and absolutely stunning. Compared to many other beaches on the island, the water here gets deep a bit more slowly, which makes swimming especially enjoyable. The beach is surrounded by nature, offering a very peaceful atmosphere. Facilities and sunbeds are a bit limited, but if you bring your own things, there is plenty of space — and you can even sit under the shade of the trees. At the entrance there are a couple of meters of pebbles, but right after that you step onto soft, clean sand. Despite being a sandy beach, the water remains amazingly transparent. Overall, it’s a magical spot that should definitely be experienced when visiting Samos.

The accommodations are tastefully designed with soothing colors and come equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, minibars, hairdryers, and complimentary Mastic Spa toiletries.
Lovely staff and service, clean hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, with a bit of nice sea view, and more options than we could have. They make delicious egg with cheese for free if you want. Location is not by the sea but we knew about it already so no issues. Maybe the pool might have looked better (more blue & cleaner) but we were not there for the pool either. Lots of parking area. I definitely recommend the place.

The Samos City Hotel is in the heart of the lively capital Vathi and offers air-conditioned rooms with balconies that have views of the ocean. It has a swimming pool and a beach 500 metres away.
We were located at the 4rd floor. Our view was spectacular, we saw all around the sea. It was a beautiful stay on our sight. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights, each day was perfect. The rooms have great air conditioners too, helps with helping the scorching sun and extreme heat at times 🫶 Their wi-fi works great. Beds are comfy, had no trouble sleeping at all. Bathrooms and toilets are clean. Rooms were regularly cleaned daily. We had ants in our room but since it was cleaned daily, they weren’t that big of a problem. They have a bar on the top floor (5th floor) and a terrace with a bar to get some nice drinks to accompany your happiness. There’s a pool to swim on the terrace floor as well! They have breakfast included during your stay, which is great, each item was delicious. Workers are really helpful and kind. 5/5 service and great value for it’s money.
İdil M — Google review
The hotel is clean but quite old. The balconies are very close to each other, which means you might end up enjoying the view with your neighbor or being disturbed by their noise. The view is beautiful, but the closeness can be a downside. There was a noticeable smell coming from the toilet drains, which seems to be more of a problem with the area itself. However, the water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent. Despite the hotel’s age, I was pleased to find that there was no water pooling in the bathroom, which is a plus. One thing I usually pay attention to in hotels is the shower curtain, and unfortunately, I didn’t find it very sterile. The hotel provided shampoo, soap, and other toiletries. However, please take a look at the room with a queen-size bed and a sea view that was shown on the website, as well as the photos I’ve added. It’s an old-fashioned 140 cm spring mattress, and it’s uncomfortable—when you sit on one side, the other side bounces, making it feel quite small and unwelcoming.
Elif O — Google review
Stayed one night here while on a pilgrimage with members of my local church. The rooms were alright though my parent's room had issues with the television. The balcony views are noteworthy. There is a 5.00 Euro climate resilience tax per room per night which can be paid at the front desk. Dinner was disappointing with the grilled chicken served being the driest chicken I've tasted. At the very least, the breakfast buffet in the morning was good. Since we were there only 1 night, there wasn't enough time to walk outside and gauge the location of the hotel.
Anthony D — Google review
The hotel has a sewer problem. The moment we opened our room door, the sewer odor overwhelmed us. We talked to the hotel staff and were told it is a citywide problem. The chairs on the balcony were flimsy and broken. It’s amazing no one was hurt by the limping chairs. Overnight I was bitten by ants in the room. Morning breakfast was so so. They had many items but none tasted good, except for the warm milk. Staff was courteous especially the bartender on the rooftop.
Chong W — Google review
We were there for a short vacation. An economical hotel to stay. Do not expect too much if you will spend most of your time in the hotel. Yes there is a smell in the bathroom, just don't mind open its window. The ventilator on the ceiling is a bit noisy, no problem just don't turn it on. They let your luggage stay in the hotel until your ferry leaves, just great!!! If you want to visit Pythagorion or Kokkari, don't take a taxi, just walk to the bus station which is only 15 minutes away by walking. Don't forget to take a photo of the timetable for planning your tour. The price for one person is 1.90 - 2.40€ which is 15-20 € for the taxi.

We had coffee here at the cafe by the port. First time having Freddo espresso and it was awesome - thanks! Service here was great and friendly. He let us leave our bags here for the day while we waited for the ferry to Ikaria, and let us know the port was 3km away! Great place to stop for a coffee straight off the boat.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff but the hotel itself needs refurbishment, which I think was under way on the top floors. Our room had a magnificent view to the sea and the bay. However, the room itself was quite small and the drawings on the wall gave us the impression their purpose was to hide something rather than embellish them. The towels, though clean, were a little overused and the bed linen had little red stains here and there. In the morning, we were greeted by an army of ants in the bathroom 🤔 which was strange since we were on the 3rd floor. As for the breakfast, only the bare necessities were offered, the toaster wasn't working well, the juice and eggs seemed to be made of that powder/instant concoction, the tea and coffee horrible. The staff, on the other hand, were very polite and helpful.

This review is about the hotel’s cafe, as it was not possible to find the cafe separately in Google Maps and write it there. While the waitress and the waiter were friendly and super fast to take our orders, we waited for half an hour for the simple orders of omelette and salad to arrive, and then the drinks to be forgotten and arrive even later. This happened on a weekday around 10:00. And then we had to wait in the disorganized queue to be able to pay. The employee in the cashier first asked for 46 euros and then corrected the amount to 32 euros after I objected remembering the listed prices. The food was ok, but the experience is no good.

Blue Style Resort on Samos Island is a 4-star hotel located just 0.7 km from Kallisti Gallery, offering 56 rooms with stunning sea views. The property provides Wi-Fi throughout and is situated in a serene location by a beautiful bay surrounded by greenery, providing tranquility while being within a 20-minute walk to the lively center of Samos capital. Following recent renovations, the hotel is clean and well-maintained.
Hotel is beautiful! Great location, walking distance to the town which is great. I have been coming here for 5 years . Service on the beach is available to capture orders for drinks but you can simply walk to the bar and order. Great option Great Drinks Yota who usually is on the beach & this year at the bar is amazing! She gives great service when she is working. can’t tip on the POS system it would be great to change that. Love to pool and bar area & bar lounge Please add bloody Mary’s to the bar menu… The owner is very nice and has made a beautiful place for Gangou beach. The staff is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend when you are in Samos to book your stay.

I recently visited this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The pool bar is a highlight, offering a great selection of quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. The staff are exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. The overall vibe of the place is fantastic, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Highly recommended!

Great place to rest. Beach nearby, pool, tasty food and very nice and helpful staff.
Damian T — Google review
Pros: pool beach in 1 min walking distance view Cons: a very noisy hotel (you can hear most of what your neighbors are doing) bathroom shower is pretty good, however you should be careful as the drain is very slow and you will end up with a wet floor in all of the bathroom food served as part of the all-inclusive package is more suitable for a hospital rather than a hotel, although healthy, don't expect any pita, grills or anything delicious really. If you want to get a taste of Greece, you need to go out, which defeats the purpose of a resort.

Blue Style Resort - just remember this name for the best hotel in Samos on Samos island. We stayed there for a week in June 2022. It was memorable time for us. The hotel is situated in front on the beautiful bay surrounded by greenery. Thanks to the location, the outskirts of town, we enjoyed silence but at the same time we had 20-minute walking distance to the center of Samos capital with full of bars and restaurant. The hotel was just after the renovation, clean and well-mantained. The location of the hotel is really great. Is also half an hour from the airport. Stepping through the lobby, we were immediately struck by the nice and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The meals were amazing. There was the variety of fresh and delicious dishes. The chef was fantastic. We could have snacks and delicious drinks till late hours at the bar. The room was cosy and well-cared-for with all essentials and fantastic see view. We had a very clan and inviting swimming pool by the hotel, from one side you could see the mountain and from the other the see. This is a great place for relaxing as well as is a good starting point to visit the island. Special merit and thanks for the manager, very helpful and committed man always available for guests😊 I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to Samos. Will be back to this place soon..!!!

The Aphrodite Hotel & Suites in Samos is a laid-back accommodation option with some rooms offering picturesque ocean views. The hotel provides swimming pools and includes complimentary breakfast for guests. It serves as a convenient starting point for exploring the island's popular attractions, like Agios Georgios Beach and the town of Samos, which is only a 10-minute drive away. The accommodations are modest yet cozy and well-maintained.
We had a wonderfull time at this hotel. Especially Giannis the barman and Cristina the woman who cleaned our room made it a very special time for us. Also the other people doing their best to feel you comfortable. Always a smile and time for a little chat. The beds are very good. Also the area around the hotel is nice. The beach is nearby and lots of delicious restaurants. We will be back. Frits and Marlies

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. Everything was spotlessly clean our room. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Clean rooms and tidy grounds. Breakfast was too mundane plus no hot food served, and the breakfast lady had no customer service skills whatsoever; could have been because she was sick. Yannis at the bar and the cleaning ladies were the most attentive. Very poor wi-fi and server rarely responds (terrible internet connection). Overall a mediocre experience.

The Hotel was conveniently located and is easily found. Good location, near the beach. The bed and room is really clean and the service is prompt and they always have a beaming smile. I loved it and surely will go there again.

Lovely little hotel at the edge of town witch gives it a calm relaxing environment. Fantastic staff especially the bartender Yannis. He certainty went out of his way to make our stay special. Delicious breakfast with local specialties. The hotel is close to the beach with private sunbeds, felt like we almost were alone. But a short distance away you have all the shops and restaurants you need for a quiet vacation.

The Archaeological Site at Heraion of Samos is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. It features the ruins of an Ionic temple dedicated to the goddess Hera, dating back to the 8th century BCE. The site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Pythagoreion, showcasing ancient Greek architecture and history. Visitors can explore the Archaeological Museum which houses numerous artifacts from Heraion and Pythagoreion, offering insights into the island's rich archaeological heritage.
Lovely archaeological site with great views of the mountains. I visited in April so it was really green and full of flowers. Some useful info: only this entrance was open, and there is a parking lot right in front of it. I came by bus from Vathy but I had to take it at 6:15 am and 3:00 pm on the way back from Ireo town. The entrance is 10€ (reduced 5€ if you're a student under 25).

This is a beautiful ancient site, offering great inspiration and insight. Archaeologists are still actively working on excavations, which shows the site's strong potential. The staff were very kind and provided informative explanations about the ruins.

This site is impressive in its size and well preserved ruins. I walkedfrom Pythagoreion in order to get a feel for the ancient approach. The site is well kept and safe guarded and large enough to not meet any other visitors. The information boards gave excellent summaries of the historic context, the background and architectural details. I found the staff very helpful.

We didn’t realise but we visited on a national museum day so entrance was free. Really wouldn’t have minded paying as it was certainly worth it. Incredibly well preserved and fascinating to see the size and scale of the ancient Temple or Hera. Definitely worth a visit.

Theres nothing much to say. Amazing place, as an ancient history student i really enjoyed my time there. You re provided with a small map and a guide in english, theres also lots of signs around with lots of information. Though during these months i suggest wearing a hat cuz the area is big and the weather is so hot, be careful.
Luciel — Google review
Though little remains above the foundations of the structures, the entire complex is comprehensible by the clear routes around them, and the signs offer further assistance to those with difficulty to reconstruct the image of the site as it once was. Nevertheless, a model of the initial structure somewhere near the entrance would be most helpful in this respect. Even without the assistance of a model, many will find the place captivating. As they make their way along the holy road to the temple of Hera, they can perhaps envision the procession taking place around them. The rest will see an assortment of stones and marbles that do not offer good selfie opportunities. If that is what you seek, go straight to lone surviving column.

The Tunnel of Eupalinos, also known as the double-edged tunnel, is an ancient underground aqueduct located in Samos. Built in the 6th century BCE by the architect Eupalinos under the rule of tyrant Polycrates, it stretches over 1,036m and is considered one of the greatest technical achievements of its time.
If you’re visiting Samos, I highly recommend going to Tunnel of Eupalinos. It shows the great engineering skills that’s been on this island for thousands of years. Also a plus that the cutest little kitten came running to tell you all about the history of the place. Here is my recommendation (and the route I took). Start your day early so it’s not too hot (it will be hot regardless, but the earlier the better). Take a taxi to the Tunnel of Eupalinos, and be there when it opens. First trip down is 8:40. If you’re afraid of heights and tight spaces, this might not be for you. But the safety person following you down is super friendly and will take it slow if you get scared. When you get back up, follow the road back and at one point you’ll come to a sign that shows you the way to the Ancient Theater of Pythagoreio. Go by here, take some pictures, and continue your way upwards. There are plenty of seats on your way up, so if you get tired - take a seat and watch the view. You will get to the top and see the beautiful Panagia Spiliani Monastery. Here you will be greeted by cats and find serenity. Walk around for a bit, then find a seat to have some water and a short meditation on the beauty of this island. Then start your walk down towards the town of Pythagoreion. Here there are many cute stores you can browse (and maybe buy some things to bring home). Plenty of good eateries. And also more history to be experienced. I recommend having a coffee and brunch at Hygge, before running through all the stores. Then visit the Archeological museum. And finish with a dessert at Two spoons before you find your way back to wherever you’re staying at the island.

€10 for entrance. It a good experience, a lady took us down the tunnel but they are not information guides so look up the history before you arrive. Didn't go into the cave to far, as some of it is closed off to it being unsafe. Wear proper shoes. Would have given it 5 stars but think it could have been a bit cheaper due to the time we were in there and how far we went in the tunnel.
Njs — Google review
Great way to beat the heat, nice in cool in the tunnel, and the history is just as cool.🤯 You must wear a helmet before entering, which is necessary since everyone hit their helmet on a rock. Helmet and hairnet is provided

Tsamadou Beach, nestled just 3 km from Kokkari on the stunning island of Samos, is a true gem in the eastern Aegean Sea. This picturesque beach boasts a pebbly shoreline and is set within a breathtaking bay, offering visitors crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling adventures. While you may encounter some waves on breezy days, the beauty of Tsamadou remains undeniable.
The sea here is just perfect—though it's rocky, the stones are smooth and not slippery at all, and it gets deep quickly, which I loved. The staff were attentive and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was wonderful, adding to the overall experience. A great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the coast.

Very nice beach, food and service was good. Sea is a bit cold and you may need water shoes because it’s completely rocky area.
S G — Google review
We visited Tsamadou Beach in Samos, and it truly felt like a little paradise on earth. The sea was absolutely stunning — crystal clear and refreshing. The beach has a pebbly ground, but it’s not really uncomfortable and you get used to it quickly. One thing to note is that the right side of the beach is a nudist area, so visitors should be aware of that. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot and definitely worth a visit if you’re on the island!
Beykan Ü — Google review
The most beautiful beach in Samos is very close to Kokkari center. There are parking areas for your car and three beach bars. If you enjoy peaceful places, the one in the middle (Paradise Beach) will meet all your expectations. In September 2025, it was very calm and beautiful. Two sunbeds and one umbrella cost €10, but if you come in the evening, the sweet Greek guy who runs the place and speaks English with an accent doesn’t charge. He didn’t charge us either, since we had trouble finding a sunbed at noon. It’s a truly peaceful spot. I definetely recommend it.
Ege D — Google review
Tsamadou Beach is a great spot in Samos and definitely worth visiting. Walking down to it is fun, so I’d recommend parking above the hill and then making your way down, since the road is quite steep. The beach itself is wide with plenty of space to relax, and the water is beautiful. Perfect for spending the day.
Devrim B — Google review
Awesome beach under the trees. Clear water, nice sunbeds. 10 euro for 2 sunbed+ 1 umbrella. Right side for naked swimmers.
Ali Ö — Google review
Excellent beach spot. ⛱️ friendly service at the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for 10 Euro per set, which is cheaper at other places on the island, however, you are allowed to sit in the sun without wearing clothes. Shoes are recommended given there are many stones at the beach. Of course, there is also a beach area for non-nudists. There are lots of different fishes in the water to see... We like this place a lot and recommend going there.

Restaurant
Daphne's Place, a charming small island restaurant, stands out as an owner-operated establishment. The warm welcome is enhanced by the personal attention of the owner, who visits every table and serves delectable freshly made salads and a variety of dishes. Here, frozen fare is unheard of; only the freshest seafood is served when it arrives directly from the fishermen's boat that morning. Additionally, their lamb dish offers an impressive portion size for just 7 euros.
Daphne’s Place is a real gem in Pythagorio. The food is authentic, generous in portion, and full of flavour. Daphne herself is always so welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience feel special. A must-visit for anyone wanting traditional Greek food and warm hospitality!

Admirable family effort and good quality food. The lamb kleftiko was really, really good. The dolmadakia was really lacking any salt and slightly more expensive as compared to other neighbouring restaurants with bigger portions. Asked for some side of bread and never got it. Sorry for the non appetizing photos but it was really dark.
Ivan F — Google review
Best ice cream in Patmos! Closest to gelato texture. Strongly recommend the mastic one and the pistachio one even though it lacks a bit intensity for me, it’s real pistachios and not synthetic flavors like other places in Patmos. Very good mini ice cream also like the chocolate one on the picture. Also the almond small biscuit at 2€ next to the cashier is amazing ! The small tarts are good, not amazing. The dough could be better and the creams and ganache too but nothing is ever perfect ! Prices are very reasonable and they are very nice. Few tables outside to sit and eat.

A fantastic food option when in the area. The service provided was outstanding! The food was absolutely delicious and tasted like true home cooked food. You honestly can’t beat the prices here either. Make sure to stop in and get some of the best food on the island.
Christopher H — Google review
The staff were quite distant and not very attentive, which made us feel rather unwelcome. Unfortunately, the French fries were not fresh — they seemed to have been reheated. When we mentioned this, it was accepted immediately, but no apology was offered, and the attitude afterwards felt even colder. We also didn’t know that the bread would be charged separately, and we weren’t informed about it in advance. This felt a bit misleading, as in many places such hidden costs are not acceptable. On a positive note, the rest of the food was good. However, overall the experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to come back.

Beaches
The Kokkari Beach Hotel is a relaxed accommodation option with bright rooms that offer scenic views. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and have access to an outdoor pool. The hotel provides a comfortable base for exploring the island of Samos, where visitors can indulge in various activities and attractions. It is situated near one of the most popular beaches on the island, which boasts white gravel and stunning surroundings on the Aegean Sea.
Kokkari Beach Hotel enjoys a prime location right by the sea in one of the most charming villages of Samos. The setting is undoubtedly one of its strongest points, as guests can enjoy beautiful views of the Aegean, quick access to the beach, and the lively yet relaxed atmosphere of Kokkari village. Restaurants, cafés, and small shops are within walking distance, which makes the hotel convenient for travelers who want to explore the area without relying too much on transportation. The hotel itself, however, leaves a mixed impression. While it offers all the basics for a comfortable stay, it does not stand out in terms of style, facilities, or service. The building is somewhat dated, and although the rooms are kept reasonably clean, they feel old-fashioned and in need of some renovation. Furniture and décor are functional but very simple, giving the impression that the hotel has not been modernized for quite some time. For guests looking for luxury or contemporary comfort, this may be disappointing. Rooms vary in size, with some offering lovely balconies overlooking the sea, while others face the back and feel less appealing. The beds are adequate but not particularly comfortable, and the bathrooms are small and somewhat cramped. Housekeeping is done regularly, but attention to detail could be improved, as small issues such as worn-out fixtures or missing amenities sometimes go unnoticed. Breakfast is included and served in a buffet style. It is sufficient for a simple start to the day, offering bread, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, and a few pastries. However, the variety is limited and repetitive, and guests staying for longer periods may find it monotonous. A greater emphasis on fresh local products could improve the overall experience. Staff at Kokkari Beach Hotel are polite and generally helpful, but the service can feel a little impersonal at times. While they are willing to answer questions and provide basic assistance, there is not always the warm, personal hospitality that smaller family-run hotels in Greece are often known for. That said, the check-in and check-out process is efficient, and the staff ensure that everything runs smoothly. The facilities are minimal. There is a small pool area, but given the proximity to the sea, many guests prefer the beach instead. Wi-Fi is available, though the connection can be inconsistent, especially in the rooms. Parking is convenient for those renting a car, and the location makes it easy to explore other parts of the island. In conclusion, Kokkari Beach Hotel is an average option that works best for travelers who value location over comfort or luxury. Its greatest strength is its proximity to the beach and the charming village of Kokkari, which offers plenty of dining and leisure options nearby. The hotel provides the essentials for a short stay but lacks the character, modern touches, and attention to detail that could make it more memorable. Overall, it is neither bad nor exceptional—simply a practical base for enjoying the beauty of Kokkari and Samos.
Abdullah A — Google review
Location is fine, 10 minutes walk to the center of Kokkari. The sea is just a street away, hotel has a cafe and a restaurant at the beach. All the staff was very helpful and nice, especially the cleaning lady was great. We loved the lobby decoration, nice ocean theme. Hotel building is a bit old, so needs general renovation.
Burak A — Google review
The hotel is clean, and the location is great. The sea is beautiful, but the hotel is incredibly strict with rules; it honestly felt like a boarding school. Of course, every hotel can have some rules, but this level of control is unnecessary. After all, we’re staying at a hotel, not a military camp. The woman in charge of breakfast was constantly watching and monitoring what people were eating and doing. She even commented when I toasted my bread a little too much. At the beach, even though all the tables were completely empty, i was sitting with my family and I moved to a second table because the sun was hitting my seat and I was told we couldn’t sit at two tables. Apparently, even in an empty space, you’re not allowed to use more than one table. It’s disappointing that, despite receiving similar feedback in many reviews, they still haven’t changed this overly controlling attitude. In my opinion, a more guest-focused approach would make a big difference. Because of this experience, I’d think twice before recommending this place to someone.
Simay A — Google review
The best feature of the hotel is its location. When you walk in the lobby you might think that entire botel and the rooms have the same modern style but you would be wrong. Hotel needs an overall renovation starting from bathrooms, especially outdated with a shower curtain and such. We stayed 2 nights as a family. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. We didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel because there are great restaurants in 5 min walking distance. The beach is right accross the street. Seawater is crystal clean, a little cold but refreshing, the beach is pebbly so no messy sand. The cafe by the beach has great service, good price, nice smiling staff.
Muserref T — Google review

Asterias Seaside Experience is a luxurious beach destination where guests are treated like royalty by the amazing staff. The cool ambience and non-pretentious luxury vibe make it a must-visit. The beach bar and lounge offer a great atmosphere with a DJ playing music in the afternoons, although service can be slow during busy times. The venue is also popular for weddings due to its amazing atmosphere, 5-star food, and attentive staff.
I had the most delightful time at this beach during my stay in Samos. I had breakfast here for three days, and everything I ate was delicious and beautifully prepared. The sunbeds are almost as comfortable as real beds — perfect for a full day of relaxation. The sea is crystal clear and incredibly calming. Prices are a bit higher compared to other places in the area, but considering the quality of service, the peaceful atmosphere, and the overall comfort, it’s absolutely worth it. The staff is friendly, and the setting is simply lovely.

I’ve tried many beach restaurants in Samos, but Asterias is by far the best. I ended up spending three consecutive days here without even thinking of going anywhere else. The place is spotless, the staff is incredibly attentive, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. One of the biggest highlights of my holiday was, without a doubt, the food. The chef is truly amazing—I’m not exaggerating, the dishes were outstanding. I even had breakfast here three days in a row because everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. If you’re visiting Samos, you absolutely must stop by Asterias. You’ll understand exactly what I mean once you experience it yourself. I’m already looking forward to coming back, spending time at this beach, and enjoying more of the chef’s incredible creations.
Ezgi Ö — Google review
The breakfast and sunbeds were great, but being one of the most expensive beaches on the island, expectations are high. Some sunbeds don’t have a call button for service. The showers have weak water pressure. Using the toilets to change into swimsuits didn’t feel very hygienic. The sea is nice. The beach is partly sandy, partly pebbly, and the wind causes sand to cover the sunbeds. There’s no designated sandy area for kids to play.

Favourite beach in Samos!! Cocktails and pizzas are pretty good. They may consider adding “espresso martini” along with “sunset espresso martini”. Have to add, my friend really liked the Aperol Spritz. Overall, 10/10 for me In the mornings, I studied and did some work. Then I swam in the sea and ate a bit. It is never too crowded but gets more crowded after 12 pm. You had better make a reservation before going there

This was our favorite beach in Samos! They have bed-style sunbeds which are super comfortable. The price for an umbrella and a double sunbed is €20. Cocktails were great, and both the burger and pizza were delicious. We stayed until sunset it was such an enjoyable experience! 🙏

Lovely beach with comfortable beds, very accessible service, lovely water to swim in. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and always a nice ambience with the well trained staff and nice house music. Highly recommend if you like to spend your time at a high standard beach 🏖️

We had such a fantastic experience at this beach bar. The sunbeds—more like comfy loungers—were super relaxing, and being right on the front row made it all the more special. €30 for a front-row set, and €20 for the rest—totally worth it. Service was great, with a wide variety of drinks and snacks available: everything from coffee and smoothies to light alcoholic cocktails. A little heads-up: the sea here is quite shallow, so you’ll need to walk out about 30 meters if you really want to swim. We had lunch at the onsite restaurant and the pizza fungi was delicious—some of the best we've had.

Asian fusion restaurant
Unan Asian Fusion in Greece offers an exceptional culinary experience with its delectable and diverse array of Asian cuisine. The sushi is unparalleled, characterized by a taste that defies description. With a wide range of dishes to choose from, it is impossible to select just one favorite. The chef deserves high praise for their expertise and skill in creating these masterpieces. Not only is the food outstanding, but the service provided is also top-notch.
This was something else. The food was a piece of art, the taste was amazing and the service as well. My favorite piece of maki was “Katana”. A bit on the pricier side but so worth it!!!

Although Greek food is spectacular, on occasion you feel the need for a different kitchen. We decided to treat ourselves to an evening of fine dining at Unan. What better way to do this than to indulge in a ten course chefs menu? It was an amazing culinair travel along the arts of the chefs cooking. We enjoyed a tasteful composition of rare flavors and ingredients. A night to remember!

Beautiful spot with excellent food and service. The dishes were thoroughly explained to us, and the quality was outstanding. Great if you want to try something different after days/ weeks of Greek food.
Ariane G — Google review
After 20 days on the island of Samos, hopping from one taverna to another, I grew tired of the usual traditional food. I was looking for something different, something that could surprise me — and I found it. I arrived at the beautiful Doryssa Resort and, right at the entrance, I discovered this stunning restaurant called Unan. The menu is diverse and ever-changing — I wanted to order everything! I ended up asking the amazing and welcoming waitstaff for recommendations because I truly couldn’t decide. I ordered Wagyu Gyoza, Pad Thai, and Spicy Tuna Uramaki. The ingredients were of the highest quality, the mix of flavors perfectly balanced, and the presentation full of vibrant colors. It was a burst of flavor — a journey through Asian cuisine, all while staying in Greece. Everything was paired with a fantastic cocktail, which matched the flavors of the dishes perfectly. The setting, the atmosphere, the staff — everything was wonderful. The best way to end such a fulfilling vacation. Thank you to the entire team — I’ll be back soon!
Marica M — Google review
We had a 9:00 PM reservation and were really looking forward to our evening at Unan, even traveling from the other side of the island for it. Upon arrival, we were told our table wasn’t ready and asked to wait with a drink. Unfortunately, only one of the two cocktails we ordered was available, which already disrupted the moment. The second drink came much later, so we couldn’t even enjoy a proper toast together. After waiting 25 minutes past our reservation time, we were finally seated, but the delays continued. It took quite a while before we got the menu and could even place our order. When done so, our food also finally arrived an hour later. The food was fine, but the lack of attention and hospitality throughout the evening made us feel overlooked. We ended the night early and shared our concerns with the staff, who simply said there was nothing they could do. They did remove the cocktails from the bill, which we appreciated, but overall, the experience left us disappointed and with a ruined evening.
Carsten M — Google review
Terrible experience – don’t waste your time We made a reservation for this restaurant several days in advance, only to arrive and be told there was no table available. They did have our names written down, but apparently that didn’t matter because “it was busy.” Unbelievable. We were left standing there, disappointed and frustrated, while they offered absolutely nothing to make up for their mistake. After waiting 20 minutes without being seated or served, we walked out hungry and angry. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful – I would never recommend this place.

The Archaeological Museum of Vathy, Samos is located in a former mansion and adjacent building. It showcases artifacts found at the Heraion, including a remarkable 6th-century BC marble statue of an athletic young man measuring 4.8 meters tall. This colossal figure may have been a votive statue for the Sacred Way. The museum offers visitors the chance to explore the island's scenic drives and capture stunning photographs.
Go here early in the morning - you get the museum all to yourself. Can take a slow stroll and read all the signs. Staff was friendly. The collection is impressive and you learn some new things about the history of the island too!

No aircon, better plan a visit to be in the morning during the summer months. Contains artefacts in stone, clay, but also bronze and ivory, plenty from 5-6 century BC. Get to know a bit more about the history of Samos.

Unfortunately this museum does not do justice to the long history of this island. The Kouros exhibit was absolutely spectacular, but everything else was underwhelming and I found the accompanying texts lacking in most cases. Worst of all, the building is not up to modern standards, as it is not accessible to disabled people and does not have air-conditioning. It's really a shame...

Pizza restaurant
Pizza Napoli is a charming restaurant located in Samos harbor, offering a delightful mix of Italian and Greek cuisine. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and the prices are fair for the generous portions. Guests can enjoy delicious dishes such as moussaka, sardines, Greek salad, pork gyro plate, and freshly made moussakas served in slices. The location alongside the bay adds to the overall dining experience.
This restaurant surprised us big time! And I mean in a good way.. The staff is so kind, unlike other places we’ve been in the same street. They are clearly very busy, but still take the time for you and even for a silly joke inbetween there’s no hurry. The food was nice, exactly what you except from the real Greek cousine. The greek salad we had here was the nicest so far. And I here are lots of seafood, but also vegetarian options. Wine was amazing price.
Basia H — Google review
There are some restaurants that you want to like them, you really do, but the staff makes it so hard. Food was okay. Prices were okay. Nothing to blow your mind wont be asking for your money back either. However, it took them 15 minutes to notice us (despite our increasingly exaggerated gestures) and take orders and an extra 10 minutes to get the check. His excuse was : “i had another table to tale care of” . He did. It was one more table with clients. In the whole restaurant. How do they cope when they are full?

The waiter was very rude, and harassing the girls. Also the fried cheese was burned and looks they used old oil.

Paralia Megalo Seitani is an exquisite, isolated sandy bay nestled amidst cliffs, offering a unique swimming experience where clothing-optional is allowed. Accessible either by foot or boat, this stunning beach ranks among the finest in Samos. Located approximately 13 km away from Vathy, the capital city, it boasts a captivating tropical ambiance with tranquil turquoise waters that are shallow and ideal for children.
Super nice! Water is crystal clear. Beautiful hike to get there. When you go there bring your snacks, there is no bar so be prepared. Don’t forget to wear hiking shoes ( NO FLIP FLOPS). It is an hour hike or more for most people. The selling point is that there are almost no people on that beach. Great for peace of mind.

There are no words to describe how beautiful it is! To reach it you go by car from the Potami beach and continue further to dirt road until you reach the begining of the path.
Σπύρος Σ — Google review
Beautiful isolated shingle and sand beach, only really accessible by hiking trail so not suited to young children or those with mobility issues. No facilities or taverna here so bring plenty of water and take your litter with you.
David ( — Google review
We can't talk about the hike coming from mikro seitani because we wanted to go straight to megalo seitani by car. Personally, we think the way Google maps lines out the way (see pictures attached) when entering megalo seitani as destination should be changed. Especially the last part ~20 min before arrival shouldn't be marked as "normal road". It is a very rocky, very steep dirt road that most people will feel very uncomfortable driving down and that doesn't even exactly lead to where maps sets the final destination. So not suitable for every car/driver in our opinion, would have never done it with my own car. However, once you you get close to the final destination, find a "parking spot" and make the additional 30-40 min hike you get a wonderful view and can spend some time at this beautiful beach. Considering other reviews it probably makes sense to start the hike at an earlier point being mikro seitani/potami. Or maybe there is a more suitable parking spot that we didn't know about.
Ilias P — Google review
We did the hike from the start of trail #1. First Micro Seitani then onto Megalo Seitani. In our opinion, this is more challenging than a 1/5 rating. There are many parts that are steep and rocky. We are physically fit, but maybe not used to hiking like some of the other enthusiasts that do it all the time. Nevertheless, it’s a stunning adventure and the beauty of the walk alone will take your breath away! I advise wearing closed toe shoes and having a walking stick to balance on the rocks.
RK K — Google review
A beach by it's own class. No streets going there, you have to get there by foot or boat. So if you're lucky, you'll be there on your own. There are a few houses (probably illegal), but apart from that you'll find rather untouched nature in all it's beauty.
Oliver S — Google review
Beautiful secluded beach, worth additional 30 min. hike from Mikro Seitani. Footpath is clear and marked.

Nestled along the picturesque waterfront of Pythagorio, Pasás Souvlacerie is a delightful culinary gem that stands out amidst the bustling tourist scene. With its charming retro decor reminiscent of classic taverns, this eatery offers a clean and inviting atmosphere perfect for an evening meal after a leisurely stroll by the harbor. The manager greets guests with warmth and respect, guiding them through a menu focused solely on mouthwatering meat dishes.
In this little restaurant we had one of the best skewer meals ever, the meat what really tender and very very good seasoned. It also seems to be very popular because it's always busy/ full when we walk by at night. *ask for the kebab skewer (house specialty) <- the BEST!

Meatballs and pasta had an unpleasant smell in the sauce. Fries were surprisingly frozen, which is unusual in Greece. The chicken souvlaki was tasteless and slightly burnt on the outside. The yiogourtlu kebab was the best dish on the table, yet still very average compared to many others I’ve had before. On the positive side, service was fast and attentive.

Traditional Kebab 🥙 tavern. Very good and tasty food 🌯. Try the French fries 🍟 with eggs 🍳, the giaourtlou and don’t forget to leave room for the baklava with the ice cream 🍨! THE best place to eat in Pythagorio.
Iro T — Google review
The atmosphere was very calm and the ambiance was lovely. When we visited, it wasn’t crowded and felt very peaceful. • The staff were extremely attentive and polite. • We tried the chicken souvlaki and kaserli kebab. They were delicious, served hot, and the portions were large and filling. • For dessert, we had baklava. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst we’ve ever tried. It’s definitely not suitable for Turkish taste buds—more like a different dessert made with plenty of cinnamon, pistachios, and pastry sheets. • The prices were also reasonable, especially considering the large portion sizes.

What a great, unexpected find. Right on the waterfront, among one restaurant catering to tourists after another, this little gem of a place, serves amazing kebab rolled in crunchy pita. This shop comes highly recommended for art enthusiasts and ceramic aficionados alike.
We really enjoyed looking around this lovely gallery and, although we eventually settled on two sculptures to bring home, it was very hard to make a choice, as there were so many beautiful, interesting and varied things to choose from. Kerkis, an imposing mountain located in the western part of Samos, is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts. This extinct volcano stands at 1,433 meters and is the second-highest landform in the Aegean. The rugged terrain of Kerkis is adorned with caves, gorges, small chapels, and monasteries like Megali Panagia and Moni Evangelistrias Marathokambos.
Spectacular summit of Kerkis mountain on Samos island. Summit is located at 1,433m and about 5.5km from the end of the dirt road coming from Marathokampos village (follow signs to Monastery of Evangelistria). Loop is about 11km and about 1,042m vertical ascent from the end of the aforementioned dirt road end. No water, so take plenty. The dirt road is rather rough at points and you’ll need a proper off-road vehicle if you decide to go all the way to the trailhead using a car.

Amazing the view from the top on the coasts of Samos and the bay beneath and also all the islands around Samos. The path on the way up is 3-4hours and 2-3h on the way down. There are two nice places to stop: first is the nunnery monastery (after 1 and half hour on the way up) and the second is the Profitis Ilias (3h from the start on the way up). The path changes all the way up from a small road at the beginning to a underforest path to bushes and Mediterranean plants on the top. A must do

You definitely need to have footwear suitable for mountain hiking (lots of rocks) and plenty of food and drink (a trip from Kampos takes several hours of hiking). The route is generally well marked, but in places you have to look carefully for red signs spray-painted on the rocks (e.g. dots and arrows). Samos Bay Hotel by Gagou Beach is a beachfront property in Samos offering simple rooms with sea views, complimentary breakfast, and parking. While the island has various cafeterias and clubs, it's not known for vibrant nightlife. Most entertainment spots are concentrated in Vathy, Karlovassi, and Kokkari. The hotel's location near Gagou Beach and close to Samos Port makes it convenient for guests.
We had a wonderful stay at Samos Bay Hotel. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, conveniently located near both the city center and the beach. The breakfast offered is a classic Aegean-style spread—simple yet delightful. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we truly enjoyed our time there.

I stayed at Samos Bay Hotel for 6 days and everything was great. The property owners were insulted, cursed and had bad words from one of the property owners. They had frowns and when they served the food they looked at us strangely. This is all bad. The location is fantastic and beautiful. Thanks to the woman who did the reception. The only one was smiling and entertained us.

He is an absolute star! Professional, kind, and so attentive to every detail. He made me feel not just like a guest, but truly valued and cared for. Historical landmark
The Heraion, also referred to as the Temple of Hera, can be discovered 8 km west of Pythagorion and is a popular tourist spot on the island. Starting from the 9th century BC, several sanctuaries were erected at this location, with the largest one spanning approximately 45 meters by 80 meters and being upheld by at least one hundred columns.
Though most of what it once was has been...recycled as building materials for more recent structures, the remains of this massive temple of Hera still manage to captivate the visitor. The outline is clear, as the superb base of the structure is still in place. The remaining column, though lonely on its skyward journey that once comprised a company of no less than 155, offers a model to re-synthesize the image of this magnificent building. The feeling is still here for those with the heart to experience it.

I loved the history of this place. However the actual appearance is underwhelming. Please still visit. Definitely worth it if you like history like this.

The temple is definitely worth a visit but it's much better if you have a guide. Very little of the temple and complex is left, but our guide was able to put the temple into historical context and explained what it would have been like.
Amanda R — Google review
Visit the museum of archeology in Vathy Samos first and then with new knowledge come to this temple and you will know where to see remains of Roman houses, their sacred road, and where the pillars and Kouros were placed. Hera's temple is a really important sight and must-see on this island.

ANEMA by the sea is a casual island-style hotel located in the Karlovasi area of an island. The hotel offers bright accommodations with two pools and a restaurant by the sea. It is praised for its amazing service and being kid-friendly, making it an ideal choice for a summer vacation. While it's a bit far from popular destinations, the hotel's cost-effectiveness and good breakfast make up for it.
Amazing service, each and everyone working at this hotel was super kind and willing to accommodate any of our requests! Totally kids friendly, as a mother of three young kids, I was impressed by their politeness and friendliness towards all the kids! The hotel is also at a great location, being walking distance from the port where you can find various restaurants, cafes, bars and souvenir stores. Best choice for our summer vacation, we stayed there for more than a month! My kids still talk about it! So, we will definitely visit again! Anema thank you for everything! See you in less than a year!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a lovely overall experience. The breakfast was rich and satisfying — it had almost everything. It would be great to have more non-pork sausage options for Turkish or Muslim guests. Location is basically city center. The pool was clean and enjoyable, so we didn’t even feel the need to go to the sea, which unfortunately wasn’t very clean and had lots of rocks and seaweed. The receptionist was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Although the town is small, there are many nice restaurants around. The only downside was a slight smell from the drains at the beginning, but it could easily be solved with an air freshener. Also, the weather on the island was pleasantly mild compared to Turkey.
Aynur K — Google review
The hotel placed in Karlovasi area of the island. Its a bit far from popular destinations. Karlovasi area has its own center but there is not that much amenities which means this place located in a quite calm. The hotel is really cost effective. The breakfast was good compared to other hotels in the island. The rooms are large enough. The only negative feedback about this place is it feels rooms are not clean enough. I was found a tissue under the couch while we already had checked in.

Friendly staff and nice and clean rooms. Nice Pool and Pool bar. Good breakfast. Also nice base to visit the whole island!

We stayed there for 3 nights. Our room was spacy, clean and had sea view. The staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend the hotel! PS. I just wish the bathroom was larger but it is manageable for short term.

Very nice hotel, simple and cozy. You can feel there like at home.Very friendly staff, always at your disposal. Tasty food (and abundant dishes) served in the tawerna with the unforgettable sea view. Very good location also for walking and hiking with beautiful panorama view on the sea and the mountains. I am returning every year and can't wait the next time to be there!
Jolanta A — Google review
A cosy farm cottage/villa stiled hotel with excellent service and really nice and homely staff. The pool is big, comfortable sunbeds, a bar and restaurant just across the street on the beach (yes) is part of the complex. This I would say made up for the disadvatages of the room. The beds are quite hard and the isolation has to improve. You can basically hear everything in the adjacent rooms. If you have nice neighbours this isn't an issue. The view from the room is beautiful.
David L — Google review
Lovely place, rooms as described. Beds VERY creaky, even the real bed, not just the day beds for the kids. Breakfast nice (needed a second toaster). Items around the pool and tables needed more attention to either remove (room towels left by pool for days) and tables needed more frequently cleaned. Loungers by the pool do not elevate, and no cushions available. Pool bar well stocked and good price, staff always lovely.

Hotel Anthemis, located near the northern shores of Vathy, offers a range of comfortable accommodations including units with kitchenettes, high-comfort beds, air-conditioning, and hydromassage showers. The hotel also features a spacious swimming pool, snack bar, and lobby bar. Guests can enjoy beautiful views from their own balconies and take advantage of the convenient location within walking distance to the city center. The friendly staff provides helpful recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options.
We stayed here for 2 nights. When came in, we were greeted in a very gentle and friendly manner. Our room was number 7. As you will see in the photos, the view was amazing. The room was large, spacious, very well designed, clean and comfortable. The hotel has a guest parking space but you cannot always be lucky enough to find a spot. We found a spot only once. There are available places to park close by. The hotel has a beautiful pool, which you would like to try after a tiring morning. The hotel also serves breakfast for who requires the service. The way from the port is not long but it is an uphill road, which is also very narrow, so not recommended for new drivers to drive up there. We loved the place and most likely come back again to stay at this nice hotel.

I definitely think this hotel should be chosen for Samos due to its location and view. They upgraded our room as a gesture when we checked in. They made us happy by offering breakfast as a gift. The rooms were very clean and had a magnificent view. There was a beautiful terrace and a jacuzzi. Additionally, being within walking distance of both the pool and Gagkou Beach made it unique. Thanks to all the staff.

Highly recommend booking stays at this location! We’ve had such a pleasant time here, the staff have gone above and beyond in every way possible, from advice on places to visit and directions, to a room with a beautiful view and fresh breakfasts at the hotel! Every part of the hotel is extremely clean and all facilities were working! We couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be staying again!

I don't think I can say enough about this awesome place! Everything about it is well done, perfectly and lovingly cared for in detail, clean, beautiful and harmonious! This is the second year I visit. The choice of the rooms renovation style is soothing to the soul, allowing the energy to flow freely and make you feel one with nature. The swimming pool has a view to eternity and the beach is walking distance. Breakfast offers a generous variety with a daily surprise of freshly baked goodies, nothing like the continental breakfast in other hotels I have been. The balcony view kept me happy all day. This year we met the wonderful owner, as well. But I have to make a special mention to the hotel hostess and manager, Vivian, a greek American with exceptional spirit, finesse and PR skills and such a winning smile, who pays attention to every little detail, personally making sure every single guest is happy! In all honesty, this combo deal is a tough one To beat!

There is also a rooftop terrace with stunning views of Samos Bay.
Very nice hotel. Our room had a large balcony with view to the sea. Sunset is just amazing from the roof top pool. We stayed 7 nights end of May. Thank you for your hospitality and the homemade breakfast of Georgia! See you next year!

A nice hotel with a clean room. The location is good. My room was on the first floor with a view of the inner courtyard, which was good because the sun didn’t heat the room during the day. For this reason, I didn’t need air conditioning, which is available for an additional fee of about 10€ per day. Daily cleaning was also an extra charge. For me, it was enough that the room was cleaned three times during my week-long holiday. A basic, clean hotel where I mostly just slept, so the services and view were sufficient.

The only good thing about this hotel is the view at the pool. It's outdated and our bathroom smelled very bad. We told the owner 3 times, but he did nothing to fix it. Also we only got CNN on the TV- one channel!

Staff is nice and friendly. We enjoyed their quick help for our car, accommodation and very friendly and nice attitude. However, hotel needs a bit of refurbishment, further cleaning, bit of cosy touch and these can easily be fulfilled. Besides, breakfast should be improved by more ingredients and better presentation. If you don’t expect anything from rooms and breakfast, it’s better than nothing yes. But since the staff is so nice, we ignored other issues. Thanks for your help during our stay and we appreciated you a lot! 🙏🏻✅

Convenient hotel located few minutes away from Samos center and close to every service. Service is excellent and people working there have always been super nice. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Virginia! The personal were wonderful and always helpful. They gave us everything we needed and more:) The room was great, we had a balcony which was very useful when we wanted to dry out towels and bathing suits! The pool was also great and very clean! Our only complaint would be that the sheets were never changed and it would have been nice to have them changed at least once. But that could also be our fault since we never asked for it haha:) Over all everything was amazing, thank you for having us and being so kind! Mvh

Great breakfast as well that you can enjoy on the terrace, surrounded by the beautiful mountains and the sea. The hotel also has a pool with a great view. Breakfast up to 9:30 with roasted bread, cheese, ham, and daily changing extras as boiled eggs, pancakes , ... Distance to long Beach: 30m. Distance to the Church/centre/harbour round 400m . My wife and I stayed here for almost a week as a part of our honeymoon. We were attracted to the reasonable price, location near Samos town, the fact that our room had a small kitchen and view of the water, and the pool. It's an absolutely lovely property and the owner is very sweet. We rented a motorbike from Johns Rentals and used Scorpios Hotel to explore the island. We went scuba diving at Samos Dive Center, took a ferry over to Kuşadası, Türkiye for the day, ate at Archontissa Potami Adventure Cafe & Restaurant after hiking Potami Waterfalls, explored the Tunnel of Eupalinos, enjoyed the nightlife of Samos town, and relaxed at the pool and multiple unique beaches in that area and around the island. The closest grocery store is just past Samos near the absolutely lovely and impressive wine museum. While the location is too far from Samos town to easily walk to and from, it's higher up in elevation to give you some nice views of the water. Plus, there's a path down to a beach you can walk to.

We had the best experience - this is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. not a bad place! If we are talking about rent, then the prices are really good (in comparison with price-quality, and nearby places that sell the same thing), everything is of good quality, and about how they take care of you during your time, for this you can safely put 3 points... And that's it... If it does not concern safety, then everything else is a big minus, you will be treated as idiots, because you do not know how to do something (even if it is your first/second time)... the staff will talk to you rudely and disrespectfully, and the attitude towards you will not be the best (or at least the same as it should be towards the buyer)... Overall, I liked it, but this attitude... it's awful (but I'll be honest, out of three employees, only one gave off hostility...) Overall, for this, I give three points.
Nadia — Google review
We had a great day on the water with the rental boat from Wind & watersports. The instructions were very clear, the team was very helpful and kind. We went to Samiopoula and back in 4 hours, we even were lucku enough to see dolphins. We would 100% recommend Wind & watersports! Thanks to the team!
Jonne O — Google review
Went to try wakeboarding with my partner. After falling on my first try, the driver who didn’t even say hi to us before, got very upset and hurt as my partner dared to worry about the boats speed as I fell. After my partner got out of the boat the driver decided to throw my sunglasses into the sea and later while we where waiting to get refunded he came on multiple occasions to pick a verbal fight, acting aggressive and saying things like "you listen to me, I'm gonna give you some advice" in a very demeaning manner while pointing us with his finger. The driver was so professional that a young woman worrying about the speed was such an ego shattering critique for him that he needed to prove his professionalism by being aggressive and trying to pick a verbal fight again and again, saying us things like "I didn't like you from the start" and "you have a dirty mouth" to my parter who called the man unprofessional after the second time he came to start an argument with us. The rest of the staff seemed to be totally comfortable and used to the driver blowing off steam on us in front of all other the customers, which lead me to believe this wasn't the first time a circus of this nature occured. One star as zero was not an option. Also I didn't get receipt of the payment or the refund and the prices were different than the ones put on their website.

Carla and Graziano were nice and understanding people who helped the guests in every way. Me and my family thank you very much, dear Carla and Graziano... The location of the house is great, seaside restaurants and markets are within walking distance... The prices are also very affordable and the food is delicious... But the best part is the cute house and the hosts...

(Translated by Google) Finally, after covid and lockdown, I was able to return to one of my favorite places: the island of Samos and, in particular, to the Meltemia studio, a lovely residence located among the olive trees, with delightful houses equipped with everything needed for a pleasant and peaceful stay; a beautiful swimming pool and friendly and more than helpful owners. The beaches are very close and the atmosphere is kind and friendly. Many thanks to the owners Carla and Graziano, with the hope of returning to you next season! (Translated by Google) Greece is wonderful and my stay at Meltemia Studios Samos fully met all my expectations. Very nice and welcoming. The accommodation was absolutely clean, with everything you need and furnished with the colors of Greece, it was spacious and functional. Breakfast offered among other things jams of all kinds and homemade ... and Greek yogurt then ... something sublime !!! And what about the numerous kittens present ... they were a sight every day ... they cheered me up every morning and the return at the end of the day. The owners were always available and friendly. Carla helped me choose the infinite possibilities of visiting Samos. I took some beautiful trips. Breathtaking beaches and views. From Meltemia, however, you can easily reach on foot in a few minutes the beach of Votsalakia, a splendid sandy beach. In short, what else to say .... go to Greece and stay at Meltemia Studios Samos. I proprietari sempre disponibili e cordiali.

Potokaki is a unique spot located beneath the airport runway, offering visitors the thrilling experience of watching planes fly overhead at close range. Despite being near an airport, the frequency of passing planes is limited to around five per day, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere without constant noise. The setting has been likened to the vibrant ambiance of Ibiza's Monday Circo Loco parties at DC10, making it an exciting and unconventional location to enjoy plane-spotting.
