One of my favorite spots in San Jose. Never disappoints. Nice street to walk down. Full of upscale shops and also a few places to eat. Would recommend for a nice stroll, seeing the shops and a few things on the street for good photo opportunities.

Santana Row is a great commcial complex of upscale clothing, dining, and events in an open air ambiance. Brand name international and domestic chains of clothing, sports equipment and more offer small accessible Venues. I had a hard time deciding between all the dining venues! The central areas and medians are decorated with twinkle lights on trees, with mostly accessible venues. The center is ringed with apartments on second and third floor The parking garage does not list parking prices and the exit signs are difficult to follow. Accessible restrooms in various areas and eateries in the commercial center. Check out the events calendars.

Outdoor shopping area with high end luxury brands. Lovely walking area during the day and at night. Looks pretty in the evening because of the lights. There are several fountains to check out if your into that. Really like the tree lined streets, wide sidewalks and how much of the areas is pedestrian traffic only.

Santana Row is one of the most beautiful spots in San Jose — perfectly designed for a relaxed walk, great food, and people watching. The outdoor layout feels like a small European town with fountains, trees, and cozy patios everywhere. There’s an excellent mix of restaurants, cafés, and shops — from casual bakeries to upscale dining and fashion boutiques. Everything is clean, well-kept, and lively, especially in the evenings when the lights and atmosphere feel festive. Parking can get busy on weekends, but it’s absolutely worth visiting. Whether you’re here for coffee, dinner, or just to stroll, Santana Row always feels special.

This place is an absolute vibe! Plenty of food options and live music is played most of the time. There is also a traditional mall right across from here and shopping is excellent. Overall, a very good place to kick back and relax.

We had great time here. The whole experience was very enjoyable and fun for both kids and adults. There are many cool exhibitions. My personal favorite was the new exhibit, Dream Garden, where we got to play with the animation with our whole body. The IMAX dome theater is also a must-visit even though you already get a free one-time admission when purchasing the tickets to the museum. We love the Blue Whale documentary. Very educational and entertaining!

Super fun place to explore if you're even a little bit curious about how things work. Tons of interactive exhibits, and the robotics and VR stuff really pull you in. Some parts felt a little dated, but it’s still one of those museums where kids and adults can both have a good time without it feeling too “educational.”

The Tech Interactive I've been here in high school during a field trip. Back then, it was called "The Tech Museum of Innovation." This place is great for Elementary students and above. The Ai was cool and the arcade was fun. Alot of learning about the environment. The Body Worlds exhibit are from Institute for Plastination. They preserved real humans here. It really isn't for the fainted heart. The bodies used are for science-based. Either way, it's crazy to see. All the staff's there are super friendly and helpful. I would go back just for that.

Best tech museum in Silicon Valley for kids. Probably the most well respected tech museum for kids with a sublime imax done theater which is one of a kind. Best to go during the week or early on weekends. It can get quite crowded. Parking is easy with plenty of massive parking lots nearby and the museum validates it so parking is almost free. A nice healthy cafe at the entrance. Plenty of clean toilets. A clean museum for kids with anti bacterial lotions spread throughout and wide clean spaces. The exhibits are very kid friendly and encourages them to play with it and experiment and engage their curiosity. The imax theater is to die for. A dome theater that’s massive and gets you deeply into the movie despite lots of excited noisy chatter from kids. The museum is spread across three floors and the body worlds exhibit is one of the special exhibits that my kids loved. A bit scary for the young ones but very informative and life like.

Pretty awesome spot designed for kids but still kind of interesting for adults. There is a lot of interactive exhibits as the museum name suggests which teach a lot of real world physics and understanding of the world. The giant IMAX Dome theater is awesome for watching any of the educational films. Free street parking was easy to come by on a Sunday.

If you are in downtown San Jose, take the opportunity to visit the interactive museum. You can spend a few hours and have fun, even better if you are with your children, as it is guaranteed fun.

Festival Fright Nights at the Winchester Mystery House was a fantastic experience, well-suited for teens and definitely for adults. Having grown up in Santa Clara, I've visited the house enough times that it felt more like a known landmark than a destination. Tonight’s visit completely changed that perspective. The skill and respect with which the performers and craftsmen honored the spirit of the house was both amazing and astonishing. The event relies on atmosphere and genuinely terrifying performers rather than excessive technological effects, which makes it all the more effective. Nearly the entire estate is transformed into an almost unrecognizable version of itself, stocked with characters that bring the Halloween spirit to life. I can't think of a better night out for a couple looking to celebrate the Halloween season. We purchased our tickets through Costco. While there are numerous add-ons, most aren't strictly necessary. If you want to enjoy a drink at the start of the tour, the VIP pass and glow stick are worth considering. Otherwise, supporting them as you see fit helps keep the spirit of this unique place alive. For sure do the Underground basement tour. It is a great tour of a piece of local history. I sincerely hope this company takes over the Great America property. They could run it far better than the current management.

Winchester Mansion was such a beautiful and fascinating find. My husband had watched a documentary on it, and I had always heard about this house, so visiting in person was really exciting. We both appreciate vintage furniture and history, so this tour was right up our alley. Our tour guide was vibrant, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable, which made the experience even more engaging. I’m usually the one in the group asking a ton of questions, and I definitely gave her a run for her money with a few she hadn’t heard before. I actually loved that — it gave her something new to think about after all her years of doing these tours. If you enjoy architecture, history, or anything a little odd and mysterious, I highly recommend visiting. From windows in the floor to doors that don’t open, stairways to nowhere, and all the quirky details in between — it’s such an interesting and unique place to experience.

Winchester mystery house is a must for anyone into the paranormal. The energy is so surreal inside the house. My daughter and I could feel and hear sounds no others could while on tour. The price is very affordable. If you visit California this is definitely something to see. The gardens are beautiful with wonders at every turn. One of the great California mysteries lies within these walls.

I have been coming to the Winchester house off randomly since the 1970s. The tours have morphed over the decades and are great. This is the first time we did a basement tour though. It was not worth the cost. All you really see is lots of bricks, concrete and low hanging pipes. The only thing of interest down there is the old boiler. The staff were great. We got there a couple of hours before our scheduled tour, and they nicely got us in an earlier tour.

Educational and fun tour! We didn't encounter any paranormal activity but maybe you will! No need to do the basement tour for the extra $13 dollars it's pretty quick and didn't have anything exciting happen. They have a lovely gift shop.

What a thrilling experience it was to finally visit The Winchester Mystery Mansion.bit had always been on my list and I finally made it. The tour was absolutely amazing so informative and the place was spooky but filled with so much history. The masquerade was the best Haunted mase, party I've been to. Walking inside the house being able walk around the house was an incredible experience . The staff and everyone was kind and friendly so worth the trip.

The guided tours of the Winchester Mystery House are all fun and entertaining while you gain insight into the history of the house and the area. Our guides have always been fun! We went in early October when their Halloween themed night decorations were up which made it more spooky and fun. The "self guided" basement tour is a bit of a letdown now. Years ago we paid for a "guided tour" of the basement and stables. That was worth it. This year we added the extra $$ for the basement tour only to find it was self guided with a few plaques and some arrows on the ground. Take the tour but skip the basement add on and save some $$.

Pretty good if you can get past where the money and artifacts came from for this place. The Rosecrucian ARORC order in the US has funded this place with old money, so the entry fee is quite modest for the artifact they have. The building itself is also a bit of a wonder, with a nice small garden around it. It takes a good couple of hours for a good look through all the wings. The faux temple is a bit cringy, especially with the over-the-top narration from the guides. I guess it makes there day a bit more fun. Great for the kids though.

Overall, it’s a quirky, well-curated museum with genuine passion behind it. A great way to time travel without leaving Silicon Valley.

Free parking is around the back, they have free tours and sometimes workshops. They have a passport you can buy for $1 where you go around and collect stamps. No gift shop though- we wish they had one. The gardens are beautiful with a labyrinth! Full days worth if you actually read all the information in the museum.

A solid small museum experience. Plenty of descriptions of the pieces that are in the museum. Ok for children, but better suited for older children/adults given there isn't really an interactive experience to it. Be sure to also tour the outside as there are gardens surrounding as well (that part and parking can be done free of charge).

Awesome architecture and lots of interesting exhibits. Wish it were slightly bigger, but I really enjoyed the outdoor area!

Small Egyptian museum. Free small 10-15min tour. Lot of display for small museum. Parking likely issue. Went on Sat pm near closing so I had parking. Worth visit at least once.

We got up early on our way to Gilroy Gardens from Temecula, so that we could visit the museum. It's been a staple favorite for a long time! Amazing artifacts treated with the utmost respect. Beautiful grounds and ambiance. I feel they could inject so much life and funds into the place by hosting more events that align with their principles. Having local artists come in and create art based on the grounds and artifacts, having merchandise for sale, Egyptian, Esoteric and Rosicrucian would bring more revenue into the place and provide much needed funds for restoration of the almost 100 year old grounds. So much potential for community and beauty in this space made so beautiful by the combination of grounds and buildings. If available I'd be bringing home pieces to remind me of one of my most favorite museums in the country!

This place is beautiful and really clean. The roses are at the end of its bloom but still really pretty. Many areas to take photos. We saw a lot of people sitting on the lawn having a picnic. Very quiet park and located in a very fancy neighborhood.

Multiple varieties of colorful roses plus a central fountain, some shady spots for picnicing, an open green space, and restrooms! Loved wandering through and smelling the flowers. There's plenty of street parking around the perimeter of the garden. Be aware the garden does host events. During my Saturday visit around 1pm, some staff were walking around notifying those who were seated under the trees in the green space that event staff would be arriving in the next hour to start setting up for a wedding and that we would need to move.

Beautiful rose garden with an amazing variety of roses and long blooming season, usually peaking in late spring but lasting well into summer and fall. Free to the public, well-maintained, and a peaceful spot to stroll, relax, or take photos. A true San Jose gem!

This striking Garden has been one of the best tose gardens. The roses are in several areas around the fountain. I found unique roses including the ketchup and mustard rose and several others there are bushes with red roses. White roses, yellow roses and multicolor roses. The park has several redwoods I. The center and large open fields for picnics and informal games and running around The park is enclosed by a high fence. An accessible wimens restroom sits at one gate and the mens accessible restroom is at the other gate. Free accessible street parallel parking. Pay phone by women’s restrooms

I am strolling along sipping on my chocolate milkshake, and I smelled this sweet essence in the air while I wait at a traffic light to cross the street. To my surprise I happen to walk along a street with a rose garden. The bonus is it is free to visit. It was a beautiful Autumn day to stroll, meditate, people watch, and enjoy the blooms. How lovely!

A really lovely garden filled with beautiful roses! I visited just before summer, so some plants were already past their peak bloom, but it was still such a charming and peaceful place. It’s a great spot for a morning or afternoon stroll, with picnic areas where you can relax and enjoy the view.

This is actually the second time I visit this garden. It splits into two sections where the first half is the rose garden and the second half is a picnic area. It was quiet today compared to my last visit, but I took plentiful of pictures. It’s also very hot since it’s Summer now, which is why I didn’t want to stay here for too long. You can also host events in this garden. During my last visit, someone held a graduation party or ceremony and it was really loud. I guess it gets quiet because either it’s not Saturday or no one held an event. There weren’t many people at the picnic area because most people came here for the garden. Also it’s really hot now. Of course people will go to the shade.

This is a very unique zoo. We absolutely loved it! It has a lot of rides especially for young ages and has a lot of entertaining activities. The tickets price is quite decent as well. There is a parking lot across the river and a short walk to the zoo over a bridge. The food in the food court is pretty tasty and priced within reason. There are lots of plants and greenery all the way around which make the zoo even more enjoyable. We loved it and would definitely come back.

A must for little ones. They have a zoo, picnic areas, shows, rides, and a food cafe. My 3 year old loves coming here. They have lots of beautiful play areas and they did renovate a lot of things. Also all the employees from the parking lot, to entrance, guest services, ride operators, and animal keepers were great! Excellent customer service from all.

The overall environment was alright. The capybara was super cute! That said, quite a few animals weren’t there, like the jaguar, red panda, and fennec fox, which was honestly a bit of a letdown... The petting zoo had goats, which were fun to interact with up close. In general, the variety of animals isn’t that big, so if you’re mainly coming to see lots of different animals, it might not be worth it. But if you’ve got little kids, it’s a great spot, since there are plenty of rides and activities for them.

A perfect size park & zoo. Geared more towards under 10; rides, puppet shows, playgrounds, face painting, and small zoo area. The purchased entry ticket gets the kids on rides. Paid parking via machine. Plenty of disabled parking. The rear entrance parking is a bit of a distance from the main entrance so be prepared. Danny the Dragon train was closed for repairs but is scheduled to reopen mide July, 2025. They have amazing helpful staff and an adorable souvenir shop. General Admission: $18. Memberships: Starting at $45 *Summer camps available including overnights at the park *Senior Day (over age 50): Once per month (see City of San Jose). Seniors only enter once per month, 0900-1000, before the general public and can remain for free for the remainder of the day. Free parking for seniors on Senior Day.

Cute zoo with very interesting, uncommon animals, including capybara! Kids friendly. Many tiny entainments for kids and a theater for puppet shows three times a day. The sheep and goats are outside and can interact with guests. Very lovely place for a day trip or half-day trip.

My 4-year-old son really enjoyed all the attractions and carousels! The lines moved quickly, we only waited a couple of minutes for each ride. Great experience overall

This was the first time I've visited with my grandchildren. I used to bring my kids here years ago. The entrance used to be in the front, but the new back entrance has ample parking. I love the new suspension bridge. The price is GREAT!!! To visit for the day it's only $18 a person and children under two enter free. My grandchildren had a great time at the petting zoom and seeing all the different animals. The rides are definitely for younger children. I visited on a Sunday, and it wasn't overly crowded. We didn't have to wait more than 5 min to access each ride. The new trian was still under construction, so we didn't get to do the whole tour. Definitely recommend this place for a cheap, fun experience with younger children!!!

Visited on a weekday for a retreat and it worked great. The central downtown location is super convenient, and there’s a nearby parking lot that made logistics manageable (parking can take a minute, but it’s doable). The space itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. It seems a nice calm hidden gem in the city. I didn’t have time to dive into the collection, but several others did and came away impressed.

Great art museum for short visits! 1-2hr (depending on how long you like to linger) with a splendid variety of art pieces. The little museum shop is fantastic and the building is beautiful as well. Great place to relax and contemplate.

Very good docent tour guide who are unpaid volunteers. It was Francine for us and she was wonderful. Just check the docent tour guide hours and go during that time to understand views from an art connoisseur perspective. Good buildings and other staff too!

For major museums this is quite small. Also I enjoyed the first exhibit that we walked into which had a lot of bright and vibrant art but after that I found much of it pretty forgettable. Also fairly challenging to park there as it's downtown San Jose and there are a variety of parking places however some of them are kind of pricey. Ended up parking on a meter and stayed for less than 3 hours. Shout out to the staff as my wife left a phone there and was able to retrieve it from the nice people there. Overall an enjoyable experience.

We had a great time here. It was Chinese New Year's weekend and was too much crowded. Also, there was a dragon dance show, which had a huge line. There is a small cafe inside. Prices are reasonable for all food items (not a lot of options available). It's a good place to bring young children and can spend approximately 2-3 hours here. Weekend entry is free to this museum. Lots of art collections here, attached pics. I will recommend visiting if you are nearby.

Modern abstract art museum. don’t know ANYTHING about ART!! I really don’t.. But I do love looking at interesting pictures. On the small side for a city museum but a pleasant space and helpful staff. Nice exhibits with no barriers so being up close and interacting was easy. Great spot in downtown San Jose to take in art. Some of the art installations are thought provoking. Some art look deceptively simple, but the amount of work that went into making it so simple seems so effortless.

Visited during the daytime, Alum Rock Park is a beautiful and peaceful natural retreat in San Jose. It’s an excellent spot for a picnic—you can carry packed food and enjoy it amidst the greenery. The trails are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is calm and refreshing. Parking facilities are very good, with ample space available. Highly recommended for a relaxed outdoor experience!

A Beautiful Natural Escape Right in San Jose! Alum Rock Park is a hidden gem for nature lovers and hikers in the heart of San Jose. The park offers stunning scenery, well-maintained trails, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for everything from a quick walk to a full-day hike. The wildlife is active (especially in the early mornings), and there are plenty of shaded areas for rest and picnicking. The trails vary in difficulty, so whether you're a beginner or an experienced hiker, there's something here for you. The views from the top of the Eagle Rock trail are worth the climb! Also, the natural rock formations and historic mineral springs give the park a unique character. Parking is generally available, though it can get crowded on weekends. There are restrooms, picnic areas, and signage to help guide you through the trail network. Highly recommend this park if you're looking for a quick nature escape without leaving the city!

Alum Rock Park is such a beautiful place to explore. The scenery is stunning, with plenty of hiking trails for all levels, from easy walks to more challenging climbs. I really enjoy how peaceful and green it feels, and there’s so much wildlife to see along the way. It’s a perfect spot to connect with nature, get some fresh air, and take in amazing views—definitely one of the gems of San Jose.

This is a very wonderful park. It covers hiking routes from simple to challenging. There is beautiful scenery along the way, whether simple or challenging. The place we climb most often is Eagle Rock. You can frequently see many eagles circling in the sky when the weather is good. You can also see eagles flying to the cliff when you reach Eagle Rock. Their nest is on the cliff, but my neck isn't long enough to see it.

I Enjoyed this place. Hiking experience seemed worth it , best thing about this place is where ever you stop you will find a spellbinding nature view . Make sure if you just came for top view not hiking take your car to the parking closer to the peak

I have been going to Alum Rock Park for over 35 years. It is my sanctuary. I run into people that I see daily: the regulars. It is an absolute gem that San Jose has hidden in the East foothills. I was walking yesterday and I ran into a gentleman that was busy cleaning, Izaiz Barrera. I learned that he’s a supervisor for Conservation Corps. I asked him if they could clean up a place that becomes very dangerously slippery with the fallen leaves and morning dew. he walked with me so that I could show him exactly what I was talking about. He affirmed that they would take care of it. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and hard-working. It was an absolute joy to see someone work with diligence and dedication the park that I love and have had the privilege of enjoying whenever possible I have gone through a lot of medical adversities as well as the loss of my mother and Alum Rock has gotten me through it all. I would like to ask the city or whatever agency responsible to continue with the clean up. It was wonderful to see the cleanup going on however, the park needs continuous maintenance. In addition to my asking that the continuous clean up happens, What can I do to help actualize this effort? Finally, Thank you Conservation Corps for the young hard workers you provide, especially for the training and the fruit of their labor which we, San Jose residents get to enjoy. great use of our tax dollars! I love this park, its so beautiful and it holds a special place in my heart since ive been going to this park with my dad and family ever since i was born 19 years ago. I have such great memories and revisiting there makes me so happy

Great airport experience. Easy drop off and pick up with outside checked baggage area for $3, not a tip. The airport is accessible entry, and easy to maneuver throughout. Large signage is readable. In the Terminal B, the flight board is several feet away. They offer several kiosks of many local products like Mike and Niki's Honey, Greenley bakery as well as chains like Hudson's. several areas for sitting and dining that are shared. They have several paid massage chairs. Ahhhh No background music! The restrooms are accessible with dedicated stall that has 2 grab bars and 4ftx5ft space and a small wall based chair with seat belt to hold a child in place while parent toilets. They have anti human trafficking signs in restrooms. All hands free operation. Few chargers working at seats today. Today a therapy dog visited with opportunities to pet the dog Paid airport parking with van accessible spaces

Grew up in the area so SJ international airport is a go to. I’ve never had too much excruciating long lines through security, wait 30m & more go locate luggage, or experienced overly delayed flights. It’s a small airport but efficient processing. Only has a small strip for little coffee shops, restaurants, and sit down bars.

For someone who use to live in the Bay Area for a long time this was my first time at SJC or I suppose connecting out of SJC. It was a very quiet and clean airport had a seamless connecting experience.

Great airport! Nice and compact, but functions very well even during busy season like GTC25 conference or July 4th weekend ! Highly recommend flying in directly if you can. :)

Very nice. Quiet and not crowded. Easy to get to gate and board. Of course, it's Wednesday which is the lightest travel day of the week, and the government is shutdown probably scaring away some travelers. TSA agents were friendly, not grumpy about being there unpaid. No clue about the air traffic controllers, except that my flight was on time to depart.

I've flown a lot over the years and this airport by far had the friendliest TSA staff I've ever encountered. The check in was fast and friendly. Everyone at terminal A security check was smiling and being kind. I really like this airport. It is simple and not overwhelming.

This place opens at 4am and it's useless to come before that. You will become one of those people sleeping on the ground. Could have mentioned somewhere on the website or near the entrance: "Don't come before 4am." The self-service kiosk does not work for international flights - saw a few people try to scan their passport and nothing comes out. I have no idea for flight departing at 5:45 and supposedly boarding at 5:15 how can international travellers arrive 3hr prior for there is no one helping here. Not enough chairs on the first floor for departure at the Delta site - only three. Nothing to do while waiting for it to open except writing Google reviews - no power outlet, no automatic selling machines, no TV. I think someone could make a business selling breakfast around 3-4 am here. Good sanctuary for homeless and looks like quite a few live here as well. The interesting thing is you can walk around freely exploring as long as it's not blocked. P.S. I have to say by 4am there is already a long line so probably still worth coming a bit earlier.

San Pedro Square Market has a few food vendors including the bar. It was many people when I got there and is hot here as well. It sits right next to its parking garage where patrons can come by here to eat. It’s a very nice area where you can dine and hangout. They even have a stage where performers can sing in front of the audience. It seems that many people come to Downtown SJ for this location, because while I was walking around, there’s not that many people until I came to this market. They even have a water dispenser so that you don’t have to ask for water from any food vendor.

Visited San Pedro square market on May 5th so got to witness the Cinco de Mayo festivities, live music and such vibrant atmosphere even though it was Monday evening. Lot of food options including Mexican, Indo-Nepalese and others bars for a good time. This square has a lot of history. Got to know that San Jose was the oldest city of CA from an info placard. Reminded me of The Alamo in San Antonio.

Amazing place overall and a must visit when in San Jose. They have a lot of places and small restaurants. I really loved the Indian restaurant and the small tarts and gelato ice cream. Must visit with your friends!

Attended the Holi event with Sukhbir. Parking was smooth but cost $25. Entry and exit were hassle-free. The event was well-organized and energetic. However, restrooms were limited and not very clean, and water availability could’ve been better. Overall, a fun and lively experience.

Cirque Du Soleil - Volta is a fabulous show almost dream like and magical. The ligths, costumes, performers and very creative acts and story line. Great use of technical props and special effects. Everything from the circus tents, the vending areas, the souveniers selection and even 🚻 show a high level of attention to detail and great customer services. This event exceeded my expectations in every level. The high ticket price is justified for a show of such high caliber, 1st class all the way. My only complaint is $20 for parking is excessive. Otherwise Cirque Du Soleil is an awesome show.

Got Moderna vaccine first dose for my 4 year old today. The nurse who administered the vaccine was very friendly and offered stickers to my kid after the shot. Also they have crayons and Television with rhymes playing in the waiting area. Overall they have made a very good effort to make it child friendly.

The show amazing. I'm giving only 3 stars because the VIP experience was the worse experience I've been too and I've been to many. Overcrowded, not enough seats, the food rarely made it to where we were and my husband is disabled so he couldn't go up to get some of the food that was self service when it was available. One server in the last 5 min brought him a tray but everyone was trying to take the food off her tray because there were so many people and not enough food coming out. This may be our last VIP service. We did not get what we paid for.

My wife and I went to get our anti-virus shots here. I was first and got both my shots with no problems or long lines. I had no issues with the shots and no long lines. This was in February. My wife went latter, and with the exception of very sore arm, every thing went well and no lines. We were very lucky. Thank God.

This is an event to put on your calendar every year. Food, wine, history, exotic cars, live music, Italian Swordfighting. It doesn't get better than that!

Cool little spot with some decent restaurants, seems like a good place to watch hockey if you are into that....saw a bunch of people dressed in team gear ready for the game seemed friendly enough with people supporting both teams.

They weren't kidding when they nick named themselves " the littlest Little Italy" ! One street with only a couple restaurants open in the day hours. The nicer restaurant was only open in the evening. It was charming at night when our van driver drove us past it , with little white lights strung everywhere , but not much to write home about during the day. I was thinking it would be similar to SanDiego's Little Italy 🇮🇹 , that go's on for blocks with a wide variety of restaurants as well as mom & pop grocery stores.

My now husband and I recently got married at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph and I cannot give enough praise to our music coordinator Oswaldo and his wife for making our day just feel so magical. The music during the ceremony was everything we had hoped for, thanks to his communication and collaboration. Along with my praises for him and his wife, I also wanted to thank the wedding coordinator Mary for all of her help and for Msgr. Fr. Francisco for coming back to preside over the nuptial mass. His words of encouragement during the mass touched us, and Mary’s guidance was a comfort. One thing I will comment on was that there were some times the mic on Msgr. Fr. Francisco would be hard to hear due to the echo/ reverb, so the sound system may need work. Overall, I adore this cathedral and our wedding was everything we hoped for thanks to them all ♡

This church is so beautiful and most days open to just sit and enjoy the peacefulness of it all. I've been visiting since I was a little girl before the renovations. Gorgeous church and great gift shop. Usually parking in front limited time. My sister just bought and sent me a rosary for my birthday it's beautiful.

The Cathedral of San Jose offers daily Mass at 12:00 pm. Sundays Masses offered in Spanish, and English.

A beautiful Catholic church with well over 150 years of tradition! Stunning stained glass windows, beautifully hand built grottos featuring various saints. It truly is a breathtaking place! The Mass and the music were wonderful. Go for the Mass, and stay afterwards to give yourself a tour. Of note, on Wednesdays between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., they do offer docent tours!

Absolutely beautiful. It was breathtaking to walk in . It was my first time there and i don’t know if it was because it was the Sunday of Mother’s Day, but the choir was a Mariachi. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Majestic cathedral on the San Jose history walk tour! Very ornate and historical! The original structure was built in 1803 but was destroyed by a fire in 1875. We only got to peek in the doors as something was going on inside. Sad we couldn’t view the whole church.

Beautiful mission parish and campus. Sunday mass was very nice. Loved the tile floor and artwork. If I had one negative it would be I wish parishioners that are sick would not come to mass. There was one person behind us that was clearly sick coughing, sneezing and blowing nose. I understand being a good Catholic, but sometimes you have to think about others.

A beautiful mission, the church still holds mass, so be respectful. We loved the grounds and gardens, but our favorite was the art in the church. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or if your kid has this mission for their 4th grade mission project!

Stunning setting on the Santa Clara University campus. More than one rose garden and excellent landscape and greenery. The Mission itself was rebuilt in 1928, but is nonetheless a stunning building in its own right. Nearby walls, lovingly preserved, are from the 1800s. No signage or pretense. Just wander over to them from the Mission Church.

It was beautiful but under construction. We got to see the Santa Clara college campus. It was gorgeous with some of the most beautiful rose bushes I have ever seen.

The Mission is part of Santa Clara University which is a beautiful campus to stroll through or even have a picnic. The mission is open to the public and also an event venue. In December we love attending the winter choir inside the Church, great experience! Parking is easy and free.

Santa Clara University A really nice campus. Beautiful buildings, well maintained and very clean. It has a historic feel with plenty of architectural buildings to appreciate. We didn’t go inside any of them just walked around campus. There is an old church that may be worth a look. You can walk-on campus but to visit the campus by car you have to get a visitor parking pass either by the entry or go to the security booth. The security were very nice and will give you a map of the campus. The campus exudes a sense of affluence, and it's evident that there's wealth here. While walking around, we came accross a teacher's meeting were all the teachers were very well dressed. They looked more like professionals in corporate attire than your typical brainy educators. The neighborhood around the campus is well-maintained and felt safe. The campus atmosphere felt friendly but also a bit preppy. Despite that, the campus is definitely worth a visit, as it's beautiful.

I had lost my phone... again. And after picking up another at that French Boutique (we all love to take a crack at) did the whole find devices and discovered someone had been kind enough to submit it for finding at the University's L & F. Good folk! Thanks to the staff.

Walking the grounds was tranquil and serene. One of the most beautiful UC campuses. Many paths, statues and squirrels 🐿️! The Santa Clara mission is not far and a theater that has worth while events. Well kept grounds, even to have lunch at the bench! All of this and within city limits.

Gorgeous campus, I come walking here every day. Gardens and flower beds are immaculate. Love it. There’s bathrooms by the parking lot on Lafayette as well as next to the science building. They’ve been mostly locked over Covid and distance learning. Security guards on campus are usually patrolling around, it’s well lit with emergency phones. Don’t use the vending machine by the science building, it’s been faulty for years lol. There’s a Safeway close by but you can’t bring a picnic and linger if you’re not a student. You can walk around and use the benches etc and take photos. If you use a professional photographer they’ll ask for a permit. The art museum is free and worth a visit. It’s been closed with Covid though.

Beautiful and historic campus! New STEM and Innovation center almost finished. Should be ready for the fall. Buildings still closed for tours, but there are some students living on campus and it feels like life is returning! Hopefully will be back to normal for the fall, God willing!

Beautiful campus full of photogenic corners and wide common areas for students. Staff is really friendly. It is worth a small visit to sightsee for a while,take a stroll and enjoy the scenery. During winter it is full of roses and other flowers, giving a colorful and joyful vibe to the whole campus.

What a beautiful campus of University and surrounding area. My son is lucky enough to study in this university to pursue his M S. Most suitable place for study. Library is one of the best

Quite a few trails are there along the folds of the mountain, part easy partly somewhat steep. We did the Hunter's Point Ans Seven Springs. The trail for the second one was very slushy and slippery, maybe due to rains earlier. View from Hunter's Point is ok - Stevens Creek Dr in a strait line, the circular Apple offices a little further, and tha buildings ofdowntown San Jose far away. But the real joy came from the verdant carpets on slopes around our path and the stylish mansions nestled between thick growth of greenery. On the whole a pleasant outing on a cool sunny morning.

I love running and hiking at Fremont Older OSP. You can connect to Stevens Creek County Park from there. Parking can be tough on weekends. If you go before 7 am in the late Fall/Winter you can find plenty of parking.

Great place to hike if the weather is 75° Went on Monday morning the 21st around 10:30 am. You have to walk through an uphill neighborhood before you hit the main trail. Is all uphill. It's considered hard on strava. I was alone most of the trail. Saw a biker alone as well. It was 1:45 min of walking before I hit the top (took a few view breaks). Walking back down is easy. There is a street that has an apartment complex before you hit the private road that takes you up to the trail. Park there.

Love the park, trails, views but hate the parking situation. There's only space for 10-15 cars, and unless you show up early morning or late afternoon, expect to wait for 10-15 if lucky.

Always a great place to go for a short hike. Parking can sometimes be challenging due to a small lot. Carpool (best), Come early (better) or park down the road leading up to Fremont older. Be aware that it is a bit steep in places and take it slow if needed. The hikes are priceless

Very easy to access from south bay. Parking can be a problem but nonetheless, the hike is easy, a loop take about an hour, great for weekday morning hike. Right now, the are a lots wild flower during this spring time, definitely worth to hike and enjoy a refreshing morning there.

Amazing hike for all types of hikers. It’s usually busy because the main trails are flat and wide. We love this place and will come more often if more parking was available. Recommend to come early. The views are incredible and picture worthy.
