Step into the 19th-century charm of Dobbin House Tavern, a historic bed and breakfast featuring cozy rooms and an American alehouse. Originally built for Reverend Alexander Dobbin, this establishment is now a premier Gettysburg attraction. The candlelit elegance of the restaurant offers superior food and gracious service that transports guests back in time. The Springhouse Tavern provides a more intimate dining experience, while the Abigail Adams Ballroom caters to larger gatherings.
A historic gem of a tavern! This was supremely cool.It actually FEELS like stepping back in time. We were able to peek in the house as well which would also be a great place to dine. The food was quite good. Salads were fresh, French onion soup was divine (their specialty), chicken on a spit was crispy outside and juicy inside, baked potato was a baked potato, drinks were fabulous, date bread was a pleasant and yummy surprise with a WONDERFUL texture. The gingerbread was alright, but the pecan pie was stellar. Our server, Shaun, was direct to the point of being rude, but after awhile, I decided it was just his personality. The host pointed out the cubby in the wall where they hid slaves as part of the underground railroad, which I thought was so interesting. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm happy it was suggested to us.

Outstanding atmosphere! My husband and I ate twice downstairs in the Tavern and would highly recommend it! It is cozy, intimate, and feels like you are instantly transported back in time. It is an excellent place to feel fully immersed in the Gettysburg experience. The food is also excellent. We had the stuffed shrimp and the crab cakes and were very pleased with both dishes! Can’t wait to plan our next trip back and eat here!!

First time visit to Gettysburg. We heard about this place and had to try it. We ate in the basement tavern which was super cool. Just like stepping back in time. Great service, great food and for a headline eatery of the town, the prices were reasonable. We were there for 4 days and chose to make this a place we returned to for a second meal. Not just the food, but the atmosphere. It was a .6 mile walk for us from our hotel and it was well worth it. Went in during the week. We arrived around 5pm or so. No wait. Overall experience was fantastic. I had a burger that was great. We tried the onion soup which was a hit and also had the crab stuffed shrimp !!!!! I don't think there is a bad choice on the menu.

Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at Dobbin House Tavern to celebrate a milestone—our host’s 70th birthday. This historical gem, nestled near the spot where President Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address, offered a truly memorable experience rich in both history and modern culinary delights. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, embodying the charm of its storied past. For dinner, I chose the ribeye, and it was nothing short of spectacular—juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. My wife opted for the Seafood Isabelle, which she thoroughly enjoyed; the freshness and presentation were top-notch. As we celebrated this special occasion, I couldn't help but reflect on Lincoln’s words: “...the government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.” It felt fitting to share this during our meal, underscoring the importance of history in our lives. If you’re in Gettysburg, Dobbin House Tavern is a must-visit for delicious food and a touch of history!

We ate in The Andrew Dobbins dining room with our friends for a birthday dinner. Although we had reservations there was a wait, not too long, but not very welcoming either. The atmosphere is very pretty with lovely tapered candles in hurricane glass, and it felt as if you were in a person's dining room, back in time. However our server was quite unfriendly. Reciting specials,no smile,no repeating, felt like I was in a classroom and better pay close attention( there might be a quiz, lol) The breads were yummy, cocktails eh, and food was ok. My friend ,on a restricted diet ,was told she could not order chicken on her Caesar salad because,"They don't do that. You have to go to the tavern for that." BTW there was roast chicken on the menu. Desert was supposed to be an apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. It was mush w/ no taste. Frangelico after dinner drink was watered down. Save your money.

Love the Dobbin House! We have been going there since 2020 and just keep going back, but this last time we were there the plate that the food was served on was half the size it use to be. I would always have to ask for a doggie bag to take leftovers home.... not anymore! Welcome to shrinkflation. Don't know if it's worth the price to eat upstairs in fine dinning anymore. Next time I think we will just eat down stairs in the tavern room. Didn't have to wait for our table very long and the service was good. The food was OK nothing great. They also tried to jam another table right behind our table for more dinning and we had to listen to their conversation the whole time. My husband said the candle that was on their table was so close to my hair he thought it would catch fire!
Valerie R — Google review
We ate in the fine dining part. The Dobbin tavern has 2 parts. But the fibe dining is still less expensive then some of our own towns restaurants. I loved everything they had cracked pepper. Crisp salad parmesan peppercorn dressing. Butter in cup that was delicious. 5 varieties of breads. Atmosphere that is great. Attentive service by vitoria.
Susan M — Google review
On a long weekend trip to Lancaster and my husband surprised me with a road trip to Gettysburg and dinner at Dobbin House Tavern. Food was outstanding as usual and our server Diane was the BEST. We were seated in a small room on the first floor with a fireplace and built in bookshelves. There was a creepy doll sitting on a top shelf but it only added to the historic vibe!!

Bar & grill
American restaurant
Blue & Gray Bar & Grill is a laid-back spot with a Civil War theme, offering specialty burgers and other classic pub dishes. The restaurant, owned by Holly Giles and chef Allison Giles, serves up modern American cuisine influenced by global flavors in a cozy Tudor-style historic building. It's a popular choice for locals seeking lunch, dinner, or late-night drinks with top-notch cocktails.
First time visitors in from Ohio. We had a party of 7 and were able to get a seat together outside. The weather was very nice out so that worked perfectly. Our server was very nice and all of our food was made accurately and delicious. My mom is still going on about her brisket burger.

We stopped by after a day of walking around the battlegrounds and boy was this food exactly what we needed! Kayla was amazing and recommended drinks and wing flavors for us to try. Service was quick and food was amazing!! The burger flavors were interesting, and worked in an unexpected way.
Jess N — Google review
This place never disappoints! From the juicy, meaty wings that are perfectly coated with the most delectable sauces, to the HUGE burgers with the crazy delicious topping options. No matter what you choose you’ll be left full and happy! Make sure to see what weekday specials they have because they are quite the deal. We came on a Monday and got to enjoy their shrimp special! The vibes here are welcoming and fun with the bustling bar crowd. The service is always quick and attentive and seems to always be one step ahead from drink refill to extra napkins, they have you covered! BONUS: Always make sure to order a side of Garlic parm wing sauce as a dip for your fries or whatever you please! It’s only $1 to add and its garlicky cheesy goodness will have you questioning why you haven’t done it sooner!

The Blue & Gray continues to be my absolute favorite place to eat in Gettysburg. They opened while I was there for college, and their quality hasn't dropped a bit in over a decade. Every return visit to town requires at least one meal there, with no exceptions. The staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. The dining room can get crowded (though there is now some outdoor patio space since the pandemic), and the place is super busy on Friday and Saturday evenings until late; hour long waits or more are common. This most recent visit was for an early lunch around 11:30 on a Saturday, though, and we had our pick of tables. The many different burgers are all named after officers from both sides that fought in the battle, and most have unique and elaborate toppings that match the spirit of that officer. The Longstreet is a particular favorite, almost a calling card of theirs. Ordered a Hays burger w/ fries and a meatball sub w/ sweet potato fries. Both were excellent, as we knew they would be.
Bryan C — Google review
We were there twice today, first for an appetizer lunch (no pictures) and then for supper. The food is fantastic! Our appetizer lunch consisted of grilled cheese, chicken fingers and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were definitely the favourite! The chicken fingers have an great breading. For supper we had burgers and wraps. Again, the food was all excellent. Service isn't amazing. We needed to ask for refills both times. The food is enough to get us back there though!
Jodie P — Google review
This place is fantastic. I was there on a Friday for lunch with my daughter and we both had incredible food with great service. I ordered the General Heth and it is possibly the best burger I've had while traveling. My daughter got the 6th Louisiana wings and she raved about well prepared they were. We also split the grilled cheese bites which I was tempted to make a meal of on their own. Price was good and again the seven was great
JD Z — Google review
Some of the more unusual and diverse hamburger styles you find. The General Hayes the I ordered was grilled right, juicy, and full of flavor unlike the awful smash burgers every one is doing. Sweet potato fries were nice and crisp, no complaints on anything. I would add a few more caramelized onions though.
Andrew C — Google review
Service was great on a Saturday night. Had the rib eye steak... not a lot of flavor but they were tender. It was more like s nybstrip then a marbled rib eye. Sweet potato fries were good but came out a little cold.

I had been wanting to come here for a while and finally made it out on a Saturday afternoon in June. I am local to the Gettysburg area and I don’t typically drink distilled spirits but I follow them on instagram and the food looked very good. We sat at the bar and were greeted quickly by a bartender. He gave us menus and a little time to decide on drinks. We had a hard cider and an old fashioned. We also ordered some salads and I saved room for the butterscotch pudding dessert special I had seen on social media. Everything was very good although the whiskey in the old fashioned was a little over powered by the other ingredients. We ended up getting a 4-pack of their canned cocktails to-go as well. I had tried one of these at another local establishment and it was pretty good. The bar staff were all friendly and attentive. The bar seating was mostly full and there were a lot of groups at tables. Even with the business, the noise wasn’t bad. We found it easy to talk and hear each other. They do serve beer and hard cider for those who don’t drink cocktails or whiskey. But if you do like the spirits, they have plenty including whiskey, bourbon, vodka, brandy, rum, gin and more. There was plenty of parking. Prices were comparable to other similar establishments we have been to. We had an enjoyable time. If you’re in Gettysburg or just rant to take a drive, stop in and see them. Get the dessert and enjoy it.

We loved everything about our visit to Mason Dixon Distillery! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, offering us many tastings and recommendations. You could tell how much heart and soul Yianni, the owner, has put into it. Their cocktails and food were absolutely amazing! Best fried pickles I’ve ever had, tastiest drink with their Jack Sparrow, and their Brisket Benedict (brunch menu) was phenomenal! Loved doing the tour and hearing about his journey. Bought a few bottles/cans to take home and will definitely be back for more! Love seeing a fellow Greek living out his dream and wish him continued success!

Sam was great! In fact if you want a great server she's your girl. She knows the menu inside and out. Made awesome recommendations and helped our Gluten Free kiddo navigate the menu with ease. Yes they have Gluten free options that are clearly marked on the menu. Food was delicious and drinks were good too! They even have a gluten free rice Kristie treat for dessert. Took a few for the road.... from canned spirits. They even ship so if you love them you'll need more if you're not a local.

We were visiting Gettysburg and decided to check out Mason Dixon for brunch on Sunday. Our crew had the most amazing breakfast. We had beignets and then eggs Benedict with brisket. We sampled 2 different flights and everything was nothing short of spectacular! Emily was a fantastic waitress and took amazing care of us. Then meeting with the owner was an extra touch with great customer service. He was taking time to greet almost every group that came in to eat. Highly recommend coming to enjoy all that they have to offer with great food, drinks and beautiful atmosphere. Can’t recommend it enough!! We will be back again for sure.

First time here .....was very happy with the food, service and drinks...had to do a sampler, strongly suggest doing the cocktail for the full effect. .. Both of us had the cheese steaks shared both were very good and the fries..yum ..we had to bring home a few cans of their mixed drinks...we will be back again when in the area.

We were fortunate enough to get a tour on the 4th of July. The tour had at least 30 people in it, but Yanni did an amazing job detailing the history of his business and the operations. There was a nice, blended bourbon tasting on the tour as well. He made us feel very welcome indeed. After, most of the members of the tour stayed to have a meal and drinks. My wife had the cocktail flight, and I had the aged spirits flight. Both were out of this world. For solids, we split the poutine and the goat cheese brulee. This was really one of my favorite meals this year. The beef in the poutine was very tender without overwhelming the balance of the dish. The brulee was perfectly balanced between decadence and intense creamy flavors. Yanni even came by to thank us for visiting. We will definitely be back!
Mister D — Google review
Mason Dixon Distilling is absolutely awesome!! As someone who frequently visits the Kentucky bourbon trail, I’d easily pit Yanni’s (the owner and creator) bourbons with most I’ve tasted on “on the trail”! The food is outstanding, his servers and bartenders are fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable and groovy! Heart and soul are poured into each bottle as they make Ouzo, Tsipouro, bourbon, vodka, and gin. Their canned cocktails set a high tasting bar and pair great with most dishes. If you’re near by want to simply try something , there is a flight for you! If you’re within 300 miles of this place, take the detour and try it out! You won’t be disappointed!
Anthony P — Google review
Great spot! Food was really good. My husband and I shared the cheesesteak. The flavors were there - it was a little salty, but I would order it again. Staff were really nice. Well done. Before coming here, we went to the shop in town and tried some bourbons and mixed drinks. The staff were awesome there, too. We ended up purchasing a 4 pack of mixed cocktails and a bourbon. A staff member gave us a $10 off coupon for the restaurant. Thanks! Glad we stopped in.

The Gettysburger Company is a traditional American restaurant with a menu of burgers, melts and other classics. The atmosphere is old-school, with bar seating and TVs above the counter. There's takeout available, as well as table service for large groups. The restaurant serves draft beer and features wheelchair accessibility.
Awsome place! We sat at a hi-top table in the bar area and the atmosphere was great! I ordered a knob creek old fashioned, and my girlfriend ordered a peach mule. The old fashion was absolutely perfect! We didn't get an appetizer even though some of them sounded really good! I got a burban burger, and my girlfriend had a salad with a burger on top of it. Both were excellent, honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful! Also, the fries were amazing spiral cut potatoes deep fried to perfection! Pricing was excellent and the service was top notch!!

A restaurant with a menu as fun as it's name! Awesome family-friendly dining right next door to the center of downtown Gettysburg. They have options for everyone with vegetarian choices too. I had the refreshing Peach Lemonade with the Cheese Curd & Marinara Sauce starter before chowing down on the Malibu Veggie Burger. This was an All-American, all comfort meal. To top it off, I enjoyed the outdoor seating & the staff who were all welcoming. Go-On-And-GET-a-Gettysburger while you can! (Say that 10 times fast)

This was the best place to stop for a great burger while in Gettysburg. It was recommended by our tour guide. It didn't disappoint! I got the Elvis burger and it was amazing! The service was great, and the restaurant was very clean. If we make it back to Gettysburg, this will definitely be on our list of places to eat!
Amy H — Google review
If you're looking for a good burger, you won't be disappointed! We ordered the Gettysburger (think Big Mac). Ask for extra sauce, the bread soaks it all up. 4 big smashburger patties, couldn't finish it. We also got the chili, which was great if you like sweeter sauce. The sidewinder fries are like super chunky curly fries, perfect to hold toppings. I got the pulled pork and jalapenos - very generous portion.
Michelle N — Google review
Make sure you come hungry - the burgers are outstanding and large bursting with flavor. We enjoyed the fried pickles as a starter and in the top three we’ve ever had with a light and crispy coating and tons of flavor - highly recommend. Service was excellent and very attentive. Don’t forget about Happy Hour specials. Overall, highly recommend if you are in the area after spending a day in the National Park.

The burgers here are all delicious!!! The skdewinder fries, they are thick and crispy on the outside while hot and fluffy on the inside. The sweet potato waffle fries, ummm yeah they are delicious!!! The bacon is crispy and they do not skimp on any of the toppings; even the blue cheese. Do not skip this place if you are in town. If you do.... well you messed up silly duck!!!!

We came to Gettysburg with our pup and this restaurant hit what we were looking for and more. The service is great, all the staff were really friendly with us and our dog Aki, they gave hives a bowl of water with ice, which he enjoyed. They have a lot of options for food and a dog menu as well, we bought Aki a bowl of ground meat and the second visit plain chicken, he ate all really happy. To our surprise, they have a an amazing bourbon/whiskey/Scotch list. It was 2 full pages long and loaded with gems that are not typically found in a restaurant. This is now one of our favorites restaurants 🧡
Rombrs — Google review
We wanted to try their burgers since that’s their specialty. I ordered the Sweet Baby Bleu Burger with Sidewinder Fries. My husband got the Mushroom Swiss Smash Burger. Appetizers were French Onion Soup and Jalapeño Cream Cheese Poppers with Sweet Chili Raspberry Sauce. For drinks we had Guinness Stout and wine. Everything was good but the burgers were nothing special. Overpriced, plain burgers that were just ok.

The Pub & Restaurant is a charming and cozy eatery located within the elegant Wyndham Gettysburg hotel. It offers a mix of modern American dishes with a twist, including Texas-style barbecue brisket, jumbo lump crab cake sandwiches, and Chesapeake macaroni and cheese. The restaurant also features an outdoor seating area on the historic Gettysburg Square, making it a great spot for people-watching.
Wonderful Street Cafe and Pub. We chose to sit outside on the sidewalk. The View of the circle after the Memorial Day Parade was awesome. The salmon and the mahi-mahi I never tasted great dishes. The dessert carrot cake was the largest cake I ever seen LOL. The service was outstanding.

A lovely experience at The Pub. Delicious food and drinks, friendly staff. No wait on a busy Saturday evening. The mozzarella sticks were great, the American chicken sandwich was good, and the sweet potato fries were amazing. Super happy with our choice to dine here while visiting town.

We stopped in for a bite to eat on a Saturday. The square was busy with people but we were able to get seated very quickly. We started with the Buffalo Fries which delicious with just right about of heat. I went with the chipotle bbq wings with ranch and they were really good as well. As you can see from pictures the portions were more than enough. My wife had the French onion soup and she agreed that it was one of the best she had had. Our food arrived quickly and the service was outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable of the menus and answered all our questions. Restrooms were nice and clean. Also have a room upstairs for large parties.

A friend from Gettysburg said this place is “quintessential” to the town. I had a delightful meal sitting at the outside tables. The spaghetti grilled cheese was weird enough that I had to get it, and gosh it was good!
Claire D — Google review
We came in around 2p looking to have some drinks and lunch. We sat down at the bar and ordered drinks to start. After sitting there for alil it was clear the bartender was overwhelmed as she was handling the drinks for the dining room, the bar, and also waiting on the tables in the bar area all by herself. She truly was doing the best she absolutely could. What was odd to me was it seemed as though there was no manager on site at that time. Someone had made a complaint about a food item and she had to call someone justifying why it needed to be taken off the check. I didn't appreciate upper management not being in the building and supporting their team like they should be, and if they were in the building they weren't doing a great job at supporting them. Ultimately we had 1 drink and left. The 2 starsI am leaving is for that bartender, for how hard she was hustling, I would give zero stars to the owners for putting her through that, if I could.
Drew S — Google review
We went for dinner one night and while it appeared to be really, really, busy, we were seated quickly. The staff seemed to be working at above capacity, but maintained smiles and were helpful and friendly. It was a at night and the room was full. We enjoyed our meal - a chicken sandwich and a burrito. They were tasty and came out hot. The menu reads more like a diner menu than a pub/restaurant one, with just about all the cuisines covered - which in past experiences - a place masters nothing. Here we were very happy with our meal.
Joy Y — Google review
Great food with unique vibes. Fairy’s in Tiffany style glass but still maintaining historical charm. The food was delicious. My burger was cooked perfectly medium and my husband loved his French onion soup; as did our toddler who devoured the pretzel dipped in the soup. Portions are generous, and we were too full for dessert so decided to get one of their desserts in a jar to go. Service was good and prompt even on a busy weekend evening during the reenactment weekend.

This restaurant has a wide selection of delicious meals and a cozy setting. It is named after a Civil War hero and offers Irish and American pub fare in a bi-level setting. The namesake of Union commander Patrick Henry O'Rorke is popular with customers for its great food, friendly atmosphere, and stone fireplace.
Went for dinner with the kids on a Friday night. The food was great and the service was outstanding! We had salmon and prime rib, and both were delicious. We thought the risotto was a little bit too salty, but everything else tasted good. I especially liked the corn fritters. The restaurant is very conveniently located and there is parking nearby.

Everything was amazing from the atmosphere, to the employees, to the food. We went for my son's birthday dinner while we were in town visiting and I am so happy we picked this restaurant. The Irish fare is authentic and incredible. We got Shepherds Pie, the Irish pot roast and my son got a burger and it was cooked perfectly and juicy. If we ever get back down there we will be back.

True Irish pub gem! In the heart of Gettysburg, you can get your luck of the Irish met with Guinness and shepherds pie! Great, quaint feel. Traditional bar. Lots of beers and drinks. Lots of apps and entrees. Great outdoor seating. Amazing service.

Big patio, excellent menu and good service. We stopped in to eat around 3pm on Sunday, sat on the patio. The staff worked together to take care of us. Ordered O’rouke skins, the Rueben and Irish meatballs. Everything was delicious 🤤

I go to ORourkes every time I'm in Gettysburg and I've never been disappointed. I always get the Irish Bangers and Mash with side of Colcannon. They are very consistent over the years I've visited. Others in my party have had the beef stew bread bowl, fish and chips, BLT and kids' chicken fingers. Mozzarella sticks are plump with soft breading. The only detraction I can think of is their French onion soup seemed to use mozzarella cheese instead of Swiss, but I am not taking away a star for that. Plus, the soup was still good. Overall I am well satisfied with the food, service, cleanliness and presentation to the point that I will always come back for more.

Stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly pleased with how good everything tasted. The waitress was amazing, and the decor for an old tavern was pleasant. The only thing I would ding this establishment on is I did not see a wheelchair entrance. There are stairs to climb to get to the entrance. Parking can also be difficult in this part of town.

First time I ate at this place was last year in November. I came in and the atmosphere was very welcoming and open. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. When my food came, the presentation was perfect. My chicken fingers were the perfect blend of crispy and chewy. As for their fries, they were some of the best I've had anywhere in Gettysburg. All in all, I was extremely pleased with the food, the staff, and the entire restaurant as a whole. There's no doubt that O'Rorke's is one of the best restaurants in Gettysburg. When I return to Gettysburg for my yearly trip this November, I will be certainly be returning to O'Rorke's Family Eatery, hungry for even more!

When we dropped in to O'Rorke's on a weeknight, the place was packed. This area is absolutely a tourist hub, and so we were surprised that they grabbed us and put us in a booth really fast. This is truly an old style Irish pub with all the wood siding and wood booths to boot, and very loud. There is also an outdoor patio but it was pretty cool outside for that although there were some people braving the chill. Our server was quick, friendly and efficient. For food, we started with the Irish Flag salad which was a basic salad that we split between us. Then we had the Shepherds Pie which was just ok, and the fish and chips basket with fries. The fish and chips was well prepared with two good sized breaded fish, and the fries were extra crispy which is exactly how I like them... and don't forget Oktoberfest beer on tab when available! Nice that they also have live music on some nights. The couple playing were pretty good.

Gettysburg Eddie's is a casual American restaurant and sports bar that pays homage to local baseball Hall of Famer Edward Plank. The lively atmosphere and unique decor make it a fun dining destination for families, with memorabilia on the walls to pique kids' interest. The menu caters to everyone, including vegetarians, offering options like veggie quesadilla platter, vegetarian grinder, and a delectable portabella melt.
The food and service were both excellent. The chicken tacos are delicious but spicy with the blackened chicken. The shrimp alfredo was nice and creamy. The steak was very good, although a little overcooked, and the burger was also very good. It's definitely one of the best restaurants we're eaten at here.

Love the cozy atmosphere and baseball vibes. Server was Tracy, and she made excellent recommendations for local cocktails. Hubby had the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms added while I enjoyed the fish tacos. Nice size portions… I had to call it after eating just two.

A cute little sandwich/burger/sub shop in downtown. Parking can be an issue, especially if you have a larger vehicle, but is around back. Decent subs, cute decor, friendly staff. Edited on 9/9/25 My wife and I went here again, on a Wednesday, sort of spur of the moment. If anything, it was even better this time (our 2nd visit here). Great server, very helpful and pleasant 👍🏻👍🏻 My wife got a hamburger and fries, and I got wings (1/2 price Wednesdays) and 2 kinds of dipping sauce, celery w/Bleu cheese dressing and fries. All very good, and too much to finish, so we brought some home.

If you like baseball and elevated bar food, this is the place for you. As a baseball fan myself this was a must stop. They have specials, so make sure you listen to those. The English beef was a solid win and would absolutely get if I came again.

Dined here on a busy Sunday night. Parking lot was very difficult to find a spot for a pick up truck. Found 2 seats at the bar & ordered drinks to start. Bartender was friendly & informative. Seemed they were out of a lot of things on a Sunday night so that made it a little difficult to figure out what to order. I would up with a small side salad that was decent & the wings. My husband had a sandwich & we then shared the homemade peanut butter pie without whip cream. The dessert was excellent. Not a bad choice when in town!

Food was great and bartenders sam and Christian in the upstairs bar were friendly and fun and made us good drinks. We had fish tacos , some homemade kettle chips and a cheese steak with fries. I've been here several times and it's good Everytime. 👍

We always save our appetite until we reach Gettysburg Eddies. The drinks are always cold and the food is delicious. The atmosphere makes everything even better Also the prices are very fair for such a nice place right in the middle of town

Neat little bar and grill kind of place. Parking in the back with a door in between the buildings into the bar. Front entrance into the dining area. The blacked chicken was incredible, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice/heat to make it perfect on tacos. The portions were great and the lettuce and other ingredients were fresh! The price was very affordable too.

Located in Gettysburg, the Lincoln Diner is a beloved classic American spot offering comfort food and a cozy atmosphere. Situated near historic landmarks like Lee's Headquarters and the Peace Memorial, this enduring institution is known for its delicious meals at great prices. The diner's nostalgic decor and friendly ambiance make it an ideal setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Visitors can enjoy hearty meals while taking in the charming surroundings of this local favorite.
Been a customer for 50 Years !! Prices are from 5 Years Ago ! Terrific experience on a Friday for lunch. Sam, our server was all dolled up in festive Halloween garb and had a great attitude. My oyster sandwich was perfection. The hamburger was great as was the gyro and sausage and biscuits. Delicious coffee and plenty of refilled water to go around. I went to college in Gettysburg and remember when this diner was open 24 hours - those were some memorable (or not) visits. The diner looks the same - some things are better off left alone! We will be back!

It was so busy. We went here on a Thursday around 6:30 pm. It took a little long to get our food. I had the beef stir fry over rice and I loved it. My husband didn’t like his food though. It was bland. However, the best thing about this place is the dessert options. I had the best cheesecake here.

The Lincoln Diner is a great spot. In our travels, it seems to be that most diners know how to do it. The diner had a great feel and was busy! I give it up to the weight staff, they were really efficient. The food was great even though we had a few hiccups with our order. They constantly refilled our coffee and were attentive to our needs. The pricing is fantastic and great for this tourist town! We will come back for sure on our next Gettysburg adventure!

Good diner style price and food, very diner style interior Came to this place randomly after visiting the Gettysburg museum, pretty good! Very nice server, and the food was pretty good as well. There’s a special menu for seniors too, so that was especially neat since our table was all seniors. (Comes with a side and icecream) Only gripe would be that ordered a medium on the steak but got a well done, so it was kind of tough-but that’s ok, everything else was good Free open parking in the back too

It's your basic diner just off the tourist area in town. The interior was clean and the prices are great. There appeared to be a lot of locals in here the morning we came in for lunch. Straight forward menu and friendly service all the way around. We had the Reuben and also the "Rachel" (turkey reuben) for lunch along with fries and onion rings. NOTE: lunch sandwiches do not automatically come with fries or onion rings or other sides to boot, those are additional. The restroom is located down a steep and narrow set of stairs.

Whenever we go to Gettysburg to visit my husband parents grave, we always go to the Lincoln Diner for breakfast. Beth takes such wonderful care of us over the years whenever we are in town. She truly is a gem. From topping off our coffee to always having a smile no matter how busy she is. It is a cute little diner next to the railroad tracks. Very clean with great breakfast, hot coffee and those awesome diner looking desserts in that case that if not for breakfast you always want to try one. I would definitely recommend this morning stop if you are in town.

Great atmosphere and even better food. I got the Vegetable Powerhouse with a side of fresh fruit and loved it. My friends also seemed to like their orders (no crumbs were left).

I loved the convenience of 101 right on the main street in Gettysburg. We were able to get food and be within walking distance of all the shops. The food was good - a slightly healthier take on diner food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and my wife had a vegetable sandwich that she really liked in spite of it being all vegetables.

Excellent service! Fresh food with creative, seasonal items. Truffle fries were so good my husband got more for dessert. Got truffle fries as an appetizer, the beet and goat cheese salad with salmon as my meal and lemon tart for dessert! Perfect meal for a hot summer day. Will absolutely go back again!

This cozy 'lil restaurant is a must after a day of historic sightseeing in Gettysburg. My man and I decided to spend the day visiting covered bridges and found this quaint spot located in the downtown area. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And the food took me back to my grandmomma's kitchen in Ohio! Hearty country eating (with a few uppity options..lol). I had the grilled ham & cheese sandwich with apple butter, and my man had steak on top of northern beans. We enjoyed every bite. Oh, wait, I can't forget the apple crumble cheesecake for dessert! We shared it 'cause I'm watching my waistline. If you find yourself in Gettysburg, make sure you stop in a spell and get your tummy fed!

This is by far our favorite restaurant in Gettysburg. The food is outstanding, the service is VERY friendly and quick and the menu changes every time we visit. We have never had anything less than an excellent meal there and we are always surprised by the menu. They have burgers and flatbreads (both of which are excellent), but the other entries on the menu are where this place really shines. We visit Gettysburg approx. once per month, and always find time to stop and eat at Food 101.

We were passing through town and stopped in for a bite. This place is amazing! The music & atmosphere are great, the staff is awesome. Shane was our server and was ON POINT. He definitely added to our experience. The food was perfect. We did quesadillas, burgers & Mac n cheese. We also had draft beer and cocktails. All was great and the prices were less than I expected to pay - a great value.

Awesome place, great beers, great service, clean environment. We were in a group of seven (one baby and one toddler included). They have a placemat that the kid could color on to keep himself entertained. Plenty space for the stroller where the baby was parked. The server was totally accommodating with the large group. They have an outside spot where when you are done and paid up, you can hang out and order more drinks. Oh yeah, the food was also excellent. Overall, it's a nice spot in a great town.

Really enjoyed our visit! The food was delicious, fresh, generous and had great presentation; obviously a well-run and properly trained kitchen. Our server was very attentive despite the busy Sunday dinner rush. We were seated with a short wait and were happy we waited! Highly recommend the meatloaf and shrimp poboy! Dessert was incredible - homemade ice cream and the elephant ear were delectable! We will certainly return when back in town.

Enjoyed lunch here for the first time. Food was great. Beer was good, not necessarily great beer, but it was good enough to bring a pack of bottles home. We were looking for something to split and the brats and perogies was perfect to split they way it is served. I'll give them another try when the beers rotate. Noticed they have a beer garden too... maybe on a warmer day with less wind

Excellent spot. Super dog friendly. Stopped to take a break from our walk around town. Had the pretzel and pierogi appetizers. Came out super fast. Food was excellent. Mule was made perfectly. Barley wine was tasty. Server was super nice and attentive. Overall pleasant experience. Thank you!

We were visiting the Gettysburg National Military Park and were looking for something nearby to eat but also somewhere pet friendly since we had our dog with us. Sometimes some places will say pet friendly but really aren’t. This place was great. They had a small covered patio with full service. We ate there and they were great about our dog. Even provided us water for her. I did not get a picture of the covered patio but it was nice and very comfortable. They had an open outdoor area as well, that wasn’t full service, and you order from the bar and they bring your food to you. Still very beautiful and comfortable. I can be kind of a picky eater and I have digestive issues. I feel like the menu was great and had a variety. The waiter Drew was great and answered our questions about the menu and if we could not have a certain seasonings he made sure with the kitchen that they could accommodate our request. Sometimes I have had waiters state oh it’s not big deal and state the kitchen can do this or that but never verify and the food comes out with the sauce I requested not to have and therefore cannot eat. So we really appreciate his help and clarification on menu items. Highly recommend this place. Hostess and waiter were great. Amazing food and atmosphere. If you are visiting the National Park, it’s only about 2 miles away from the visitor’s centers entrance. Will come again when we’re back in the area!

We were seated as soon as we walked in and the staff was very friendly. Our server was great and everyone loved their meals, fish and chips, Thai Grilled Chicken Bowl w/peanut sauce and meatloaf. The Spinach/artichoke Appetizer is a must have!! A big 5 star review and thank you to Tyler in the kitchen. I have severe food allergies to shellfish and fish oil and he took great care to make sure my food was prepared and cooked safe. One other important note about this Brewery is how clean it was. We will be back for sure.
B H — Google review
We sat inside for dinner with our kids during our second trip to Gettysburg. It was our first time visiting this place, and while the beer selection was impressive, the food left a lot to be desired. My husband and I ordered the pierogies and sausage. The pierogies were bland and the portion was very small, only about four pieces. Neither of us felt satisfied. The kids had chicken fingers and mac and cheese. The chicken was okay but on the smaller side. The mac and cheese had a weird taste or texture, and our kid wouldn't eat it. We also ordered ABC Cola for the kids, but it tasted like flat, watered-down RC Cola. We had to order something else for them. The unsweet tea was also not great. The campfire s’mores beer was probably the highlight of the meal. I might consider coming back just for drinks, but I am not sure I would come back for the food.

The patio is lovely and shaded, perfect for brunch. We came with two kids, and the kids’ menu was simple and kid-friendly. Service was a bit slow at first, but our server was friendly and checked in often once drinks and food arrived. We originally planned to eat up the street but stumbled on this spot with no wait, so we stayed. The food was decent, nothing spectacular, but the patio ambiance really made the experience enjoyable. A solid choice for a relaxed, casual brunch.

Happy we chose this restaurant located in the main square. Our group of 8 popped in on Monday evening, the restaurant was not busy at all. After a little confusion with seating, here comes Savannah to take excellent care of us, which is the main reason for my 5-star review. Savannah WOWed us with her friendly personality, hospitable nature, attentive service & food suggestions were much appreciated. I ordered the summer vegetable farro & added grilled chicken which was delicious. Average pricing, nice menu variety although not an extensive menu, contemporary atmosphere. Would return when visiting the area & will certainly be requesting Savannah when I do!

This was our first visit to Gettysburg. We are in town for a work conference. Our first night we were looking for a restaurant with a variety of cuisines. One Lincoln fit the bill. Located in the center of downtown situated on the roundabout, it is close to other shops, bars/restaurants and even a movie theater. There is also a bar connected to the restaurant and hotel. Only street parking is available and the meter maid is checking between 8am -8pm. We visited on the last Monday night in July. The weather was fair so we dined outside and so glad we did. We were able to hear some history of the Gettysburg hotel from the guide leading a walking tour group. Food selection was great. I ordered the Fruit and nut salad and it was truly refreshing. I noticed it did not have the goat cheese added when I received my meal. I informed our waitress of this and she gladly returned with a side dish of goat cheese. My partner ordered a crab Mac and cheese which he enjoyed. Our waitress Betsy is a local and was very friendly and hospitable. We look forward to returning again this week for breakfast and lunch/dinner.

I come here for drinks with friends and colleagues pretty often, and was delighted when I recently visited to see the updated cocktail menu. I love the atmosphere and location of the bar, and always thought that the only thing missing was a focused drink menu. Having a compelling menu is only half the battle though, and Regina the new bartender executed the drinks (I had the classic Paper Plane) we ordered perfectly with panache. I’m excited for my next visit!

We ate at One Lincoln this evening and we definitely give it a 10+! We had a party of four and two had the flank steak which was perfectly prepared/cooked. The pork chop was delicious and tender and the salmon was excellent and flavorful. The drinks were exceptional but the winner of the evening was the staff. Our server Sierra was so personable and a total delight. The drinks John, the bartender, prepared were great and the manager Amy was very nice. This was our first time and it definitely will not be our last. Great meal, service and experience!

Pretty restaurant that's why we chose it. To my amazement had pretty good reviews. I don't know if this was an off night maybe it was. Took forever for the appetizers to come out. The charcuterie board was not good. The soup corn and chicken was ok. The main course was as steak and was inedible. Tough and zero flavor. Let the manager know. I figured she may take it off since we ate two bites. She didn't. I would've rather given 100 bucks to a homeless dude.

Chicken restaurant
Fast food restaurant
KFC is a popular restaurant chain known for its fried chicken buckets, combo meals, and sides. The south Gettysburg location offers convenient access for visitors to the battlefield and cemetery. Customers have praised the accommodating staff and fresh food options, with recommendations for the chicken tenders meal and chicken nugget combo. While some enjoy the fried chicken, others prefer the delicious pot pies offered at KFC.
So it's a typical KFC. But the standout is the service. The woman working drive through was perhaps the nicest fast food worker I've met.
Lilbabybat — Google review
Not what you would expect. Slow service, friends of the staff were a bigger draw than paying customers. They were sitting with feet on the tables ... lovely. Service was very slow and unwilling to swap out a side. Inside needs a good cleaning and duct tape covering several seats further adds to the poor atmosphere. A definite avoid in my book. And despite leaving online feedback and asking for a follow-up, silence from KFC.

If i could give it 0 stars I would. And we didn't even order food. Walked in, was slapped in the face with a stench of dirty carpets. Turned around and walked out. On the way out I glanced at the floor. Filth everywhere. Especially around the garbage can. Like months of not even attempting to clean. Ew

This place is so dirty inside and smells terrible. I immediately wanted to leave once I walked in, I was afraid to touch anything. The box the nuggets came in completely fell apart in my lap. The sauce container was full of oil and busted all over me when I opened it. I took one bite and ended up throwing everything away I was so frustrated and the bite I did have was nasty. The chicken was chewy and the sauce was terrible just full of oil.

Went to Gettysburg for vacation, and I decided to pay respect to the Colonel. My 2 friends and I got our food, one of our orders didn't come with chicken, so thankfully my friend who hadn't sat down yet and had the foresight to check inside. After having gone up to correct the error, he waited up front for 6 mins and nothing was done, so he was told that they're going to be ready in 4 minutes and decided to sit down. The curly, black haired cashier with a black ball cap clamored on down to where we were sitting and dropped them onto the table saying "here are you four tenders for the four you already ate." and walked back. Managed by uppity college kids with a holier than thou attitude, and an inability to cook fast food aptly, I wouldn't recommend it.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I placed an order on the app today. And after I was called by the store and was told that they are closed for maintenance on a SATURDAY! I was told to cancel the order on the APP or Website and I couldn't do that. So I call the store back its self and it just rang and hung up on me! So I had to call the main customer service line and was told given the run around to get my money back which said up to 72 business hours! So my money won't get back to my bank until Wed! It would be nice if they would say that the store is closed on the APP so this wouldn't happen to people after they always say use the APP for discounts! Good luck getting me to come back for quite sometime!

The worst experience at any fast food restaurant ever. I ordered a 8pcs meal which was 23.49 ouch it was to come with a large mash and gravy and mack and cheese and Biscuits. Please look at photos. Potatoes bearly half full. 2 of the 4 pieces eaten last night were raw in the middle.. I ended up throwing the rest of the chicken away. The second item ordered was a 5 piece chicken tender meal. The drive thru person suggested the 6 tender a la carte because wife did not really need the slides. The a la cart turned out to be 11.99 more then the tender meal deal. When she sits down to eat them they turn out to be tiny like nugget tiny. You spend 37.61 on a meal an are totally disappointed. I will never stop in that chain again anywhere anytime.

Beautiful shop inside, & out (very lovely building & decor). Best fudge I’ve ever had, not lying when I say I won’t buy it elsewhere anymore! I love their malt balls as well, way better than fake tasting whoppers. The staff were also super friendly, & helpful.

My family and friends stopped by there a couple times in the last week. The first time Stephanie and Sophia were working and these girls are amazing. When we let Sophia know we had someone that was gluten free due to an allergy. Instead of taking a chance with scrapping the top layer off she opened a new bucket. Stephanie makes the best shakes and was very friendly the whole time. During our second stop It was Stephanie and Madi. This time was more challenging because we may or may not have been drinking before we decided to go (We were). Madi took my order and knocked it out of the park. Stephanie again was the best and even remembered us even though she sees hundreds of people a day. I would recommend this place to everyone driving within a 20 mile radius of Gettysburg.

I absolutely love this little gem! 🍬 From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by sweet temptations — creamy fudge, glossy candy apples, rich buckeyes, and shelves full of chocolatey goodness. But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the ice cream. 🍨 Their newest limited-edition flavor, Double Peanut Butter Pie, is hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted — so good, I didn’t even stop to take a picture (I devoured it way too fast! 😆). Located right across from the Inn at Cemetery Hill, Kilwin’s is the perfect stop for a short stroll and a well-deserved treat after exploring historic Gettysburg. The cherry on top? The staff is just as sweet as the desserts — friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a smile. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and make Kilwin’s part of your visit. Trust me — your taste buds will thank you!

If you pass through Gettysburg, and you share my sweet tooth, Kilwins is a must stop! We initially ran in the door hoping to find some hot chocolates to fortify us for an evening ghost tour. When we the opened the door, the smell of the fresh baking waffle cones and waffle bowls was like a bit of heaven on Earth. I inquired about hot chocolate, but at first they apologized and said the steamer hadn't been on because of the nkce weather. No problem we said, and started planning our other treats from the amazing cases. While, even better, while we were shopping, they offered to turn the steamer on if we had five or ten minutes to hang out and let it heat up. So three ice creams, a carmel apple, three hot chocolates, and a dark chocolate pecan caramel patty later, we headed out, well provisioned for our tour, and super happy with the awesome customer service. Well, let me tell you, the hot chocolates were amazing, the ice cream and still warm waffle bowls, fantastic, and the candies damn near perfect. Everything was so good, that we had to make a special trip the next day. This time, three ice creams, a milkshake, and a few more candies, including carmels, made practically in front of my eyes. We also got to catch the fresh made carmel apples coming out of the dip, and several big blocks of just made fudge were chilling on the confectioners table. I just don't think you can get treats more fresh or delicious. I wish I had snapped a few more pictures of the actual processes going on, but I was too busy chatting candy, and scouts, and gettysburg, and buffalo with the staff, and just plain forgot. Anyhow, just one more time, if you get to Gettysburg, get to Kilwins. Oh, and apparently, Kilwins is a small franchise, so if you come across one elsewhere in your travels, make sure you stop. If it's anything like the Gettysburg location, you'll be glad that you did.

Awesome shop. Candy and the ice cream are both delicious. Despite being very busy I was in and out very quickly. Recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the Gettysburg area.

It is pretty much exactly what you would expect from a Kilwins. They had a bunch of fudge, which we unfortunately didn't get, but the ice cream that we bought was delicious. That's one thing about Kilwins, no matter where you go, they always have consistency with all of their ice cream flavors. Very good quality ice cream!

Excellent service!! The young people here know how to take care of customers. Great ice cream. Fast service but they give you time to choose what you want. Prices reasonable. Go here!!!

Rum raisin was DEElicious! The wake cone was fresh, crunchy, and tasty. My son lived there Gettysburg Mud. Chocolate covered rice krispie treats on a stick are yummy. Not cheap but tastes great for a treat.

Mai Noodle House is a popular Asian and Seafood restaurant conveniently located in central Gettysburg, close to several attractions. The menu features a variety of traditional noodles, soup, and seafood dishes from China as well as Pan-Asian and Cajun fusion options. Customers have raved about the delicious crab Rangoon, pan-fried dumplings, wonton soup, chicken teriyaki, spicy beef noodle soup, and Matcha Tea with Tapioca pearls.
My family and I walked by here at first but we are very glad we turned around. The food was AMAZING! Our waitress was attentive and very sweet. The sushi was fabulous! I think we may make this our new place to frequent whenever we take a trip to Gettysburg!

While visiting in Gettysburg we stopped in for some lunch. I had a noodle bowl with stew meat and my girlfriend had sushi. All of it was delicious. Recommend it if you’re looking for a lunch that won’t leave you feeling heavy like most of the greasy options around it.

My first time here! A wonderful experience. Jessica served us and we were well take care of. I got a Kani su salad (crab stick, cucumber, spicy mayo, and panko), shumai (steamed shrimp dumplings), side of white rice, and decaf green tea. My friend got a spicy tuna roll, fried vegetable spring rolls, and a salad with ginger dressing. Everything was delicious! A pleasing, quiet atmosphere too.

Chose this restaurant based on reviews that the menu offered gluten free options. The service did not disappoint. Our server was well versed in the gluten free options and helped tailor my selection. The food was delicious! I will definitely be going back!

We ordered the black mamba specialty rolls and a dragon roll for lunch yesterday and it was amazing. It was so yummy that we went back there today for lunch again and ordered the black mamba rolls and a Alaskan roll lol and we will probably go back there tomorrow for lunch again. So yeah lol

I enjoyed eating lunch here with my parents on a weekday. We got steamed dumplings for an appetizer, the house spicy beef noodles, hot and sour vegetable noodle soup and the Cajun stir fried noodles. Everything was delicious. The hot and sour vegetable soup was the standout dish for me, but my mom and dad really loved the beef noodle soup. We also ordered the taro bubble tea, thai bubble tea and the house lemonade. This is a great spot in Gettysburg.

Stopped in for lunch on Friday afternoon, the food and the service were very good. I had the eggroll, wonton soup, and the chicken cutlet/rice. Enjoyed it so much that I took my daughter there the next day before we headed home. We had ramen, edamame, and the boba tea. Will stop back for sure next time I am in Gettysburg.

One thing I appreciate of this place is the honesty. They don’t claim to be any specific cuisine. By the name, I can guess it serves some kind of Asian noodle dishes especially the noodle soup. We ordered Beef stew with egg noodles and fried pork (pork katsu) with egg noodle. I have to say that the texture of the beef and fried pork are right. Texture of the egg noodle is right, make me think noodle was handmade in house. Staffs are great and friendly. The environment is cozy, calm and clean. Price is expected to be a bit higher due to the location (in the heart of the historical district of Gettysburg). Would highly recommend this place if you are in town and in the mood for some Asian dishes.
