Brazilian restaurant
Barbecue restaurant
Restaurant
Carnaval Brazilian BBQ is a traditional Churrascaria offering an authentic Brazilian dining experience in Winnipeg. Located on Waterfront Drive, it provides unlimited servings of authentic Brazilian Rodizio barbecue and a diverse selection of dishes, including vegetarian options. The restaurant's vibrant patio with bright citrus-hued umbrellas offers a unique setting to savor the flavors of Brazil. Additionally, Carnaval features an extensive international wine list and exclusive listings such as Manitoba's first Brazilian wines.
"A Perfect Celebration at Carnaval Brazilian BBQ!" We celebrated my wife’s birthday and an early Mother’s Day at Carnaval Brazilian BBQ with our kids, and honestly – it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was festive, welcoming, and full of good energy. The staff made us feel right at home, and the food? Absolutely amazing. Every cut of meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection – we definitely left full and happy! The endless variety kept us excited with each round. My kids had a blast trying everything (and going back for that grilled pineapple more times than I can count!). One of the best moments was when our oldest asked if they could take a picture with the chef. We asked, and without hesitation, he welcomed our kid behind the grill station for a photo. It was such a kind gesture that made the night even more special. Carnaval gave us not just a meal, but a memory. A beautiful way to celebrate the most important woman in our lives with family, laughter, and food from the heart. Highly recommend for any special occasion – or just because!

A night out with friends. The food was amazing and well-seasoned. The servers were awesome and helpful. When we got there, I asked if the mocktails were part of the all-you-can-eat deal and was told yes. I couldn't remember which one of the servers told me so because we had a couple coming to our table. When the bill came, I realized that I was charged for the drinks, I asked the server why. So he went and talked to the manager ( Angie). She came to our table with a patronizing tone. She opened the menu and said: see 🤷🏿‍♀️ there is a price next to the drink. Therefore, it's not free or part of the deal. Angie needs better customer service skills.

Visited for the first time for an anniversary dinner with my hubby. The service was excellent. From the service for side dishes and drink and the servers bringing the different meat, everyone was friendly and professional. For sides we tried the Brazilian Salad, Caesar Salad, fries and the Special Watermelon salad all of which were good. We found the chicken a bit under seasoned and all the other meat was a bit too salty. Some of the cuts were over done so we asked for more rare and they had no problem accommodating us. Our favourite was the Ribeye. It was difficult to find street parking anywhere near the restaurant so we ended up paying at a close parking lot.
Miko1gin — Google review
Good place to go if you like your meat cooked WELL done. Some pieces were cooked good but mostly was really well done. Did not leave hungry so that's good. Go hungry to get your money's worth. Service was great and was nice to have everything included except for drinks. Probably won't go again on our own but wasn't a bad experience. Worth a try if you're thinking about it and like your meat.
Mikayla H — Google review
Good service! Amazing food, but a little bit salty, The cost performance is a bit low.
Li C — Google review
If you haven't been, it is a fun experience for sure. Make sure to arrive hungry, because you will soon be full! Choose some starters, but don't fill up. The servers will constantly be popping by your table with delicious, perfectly cooked meats for you to try and you will want to try them all! I loved the sirloin steak with garlic and the chorizo. Be sure to save some room for roasted pineapple with cinnamon as well.
Melanie M — Google review
My husband decided to surprise me and took me to this restaurant. The first thing that caught my eye was that there were large glasses of water on the table, and a carafe of water. The meat was carried on skewers by men, it was very nice to watch them walk and cut the meat. The meat itself is different, cooked differently, and so on. This pleasure costs $70 per person, plus you pay extra for drinks and other things. You can only sit there for two hours. I only liked two types of meat, and chicken in bacon, but there were many types. And here's the amazing thing, I really like to salt my food at home, but here ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING was terribly salty, all the meat was salted, it was as if a packet of salt had been poured into the plate with fries🥴 And here's the answer to why there's so much water there, after each piece of meat you drink water, after a huge glass of water and a huge amount of salt you can't eat anymore, I could barely eat two small pieces of meat cut into centimeters, I couldn't eat the rest, keep in mind that you can't take it with you, which is absolutely not worth $70+. I don't recommend this place, it's not worth the money!
Ashley — Google review
Enjoyed a great Brazilian BBQ experience with a decent variety of meats. The service was excellent, and all the side dishes were tasty, especially the deep-fried cheese balls, which were absolutely amazing.

Traditional American restaurant
Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que is a beloved BBQ chain that brings the essence of wood-smoked meats to life in an inviting American West-themed atmosphere. With over 50 years of dedication from founder Dave Anderson, this establishment has perfected the art of barbecue, focusing not only on flavor but also on presentation. Famous Dave's has become a staple for many, known for its efficient service and friendly staff who work seamlessly as a team.
I did not really know what to expect coming here as we had chosen this spot last minute for dinner, but it was amazing. I had the boneless wings (cajun), and the cajun dry rub was some of the best cajun seasoning I have ever had. The flavours were perfectly balanced and the meat quality of the chicken was better than most restaurants. The cut of the fries and the seasoning on the fries was really good, and the portions were quite generous. Service was nice, and although there was a wait the service once you got seated was speedy. Drink refills come frequently and the soda is not really watered down. Prices are fair considering the fact that meat will always be expensive, and the restaurant cleanliness was average. Parking was not an issue at all as the parking lot is massive. Highly recommend! I would 100% come back.

I’ve eaten here twice and both were really good, the food was perfect and abundant portions. With my family we had the Legendary BBQ feast and EVERYTHING tasted delicious. I will come back. Prices are right and Emalee did a wonderful service.
Juan G — Google review
Ordered takeout today instead of dine in like what we used to do in the other occasions we’ve been here. Food as always taste great but today ordered the legendary feast but beef brisket was tough and chewy, some of the pork ribs are too dry ( either overcooked or leftover from the day before?) The old guy on cash in the to go area looks like he doesnt wanna work on a holiday, looked grumpy and never smiled same as the young woman who brought out my order after a 15 minute wait. If they’re having a bad day( i went there 1/2 hour after they opened) the least they could do is a fake smile especially if you’re dealing with customers rather than a cold poker face stare

OH. MY. GOD. Famous Dave’s BBQ. I walk in thinking, “Ribs, maybe a sandwich…” and I swear my entire life changed. I think I actually cried a little when they brought out the ribs. Like, I didn’t even know food could do that. The ribs? FALL-OFF-THE-BONE, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The sauce? Sweet, smoky, magical I might have heard angels singing. The mac and cheese? Creamy enough to make you question every life choice you’ve ever made. I literally whispered to my plate, “WHY DIDN’T ANYONE WARN ME?!” And the staff… oh my god. These people are basically wizards disguised as humans. Friendly, attentive, like they’re casting spells of joy over every dish. I laughed, I cried, I may have hugged one of them. DON’T JUDGE ME. I left thinking, “What was I doing with my sad little life before this? Eating frozen garbage? Drinking bad coffee? Sitting on the couch like a chump?!” GO. Don’t walk. RUN. Bring stretchy pants, a bib, maybe even a helmet. This place doesn’t just feed you it reshapes your soul.
M B — Google review
New server - Jade - excellent, kind, fun, happy, service. When you get a server who is attentive and personable and responds to every question with only one week on the job, your experience of the restaurant is positive. Her food suggestions were great and attention to a gluten allergy sensitivity was appreciated. Jade made my first trip to Famous Dave’s, a memorable one. The hostess was also great. Food was okay. Portions were generous.
Sherry F — Google review
Server was very kind and getting our food was very quick! The taste of the food, the texture was not up to par. The rib tips were very tough, couldn't bite or pull apart and super spicy which was not noted on the menu. The boneless wings were slimey. Caesar salad was ok, I could have gotten something better and with bacon from a grocery store or made myself. The only good food that we had was the coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Will not be recommending or coming back.
Cassie V — Google review
It was my second time here and the best thing about this restaurant has always been the incredible service! Our server was friendly, efficient and was always around to check on us and bring drink refills. The Baby Back-N-Meat had amazing flavours as always but was a tad bit tough for me, the Georgia Chopped Pork was just too sour so I didn’t enjoy it at all, the Cheesy Mac and Cheese and Corn Bread were both excellent. Not bad for the price point but if you’re looking tor a fall-off-the-bone ribs, you won’t find it here. It was another good dining experience!
Ar G — Google review
This restaurant has ample parking. The parking lot is easy to use even on a busy Friday night. They have a variety of seating options. It was busy, tables get full on Fridays. Staff was rushed but friendly. The food came quickly and was fresh and hot. The beef brisket was underwhelming. It seemed rather bland. The toast didn't help. The dull cutlery didn't help. The pork was okay. The flavor of the meat was lost in the sauce. The corn was good. The mac n cheese was awesome, it had a bit of a kick and corn. It was different but it worked. If you expect creamy cheesy comfort mac and cheese this isn't it. Rather small portion. The fish was very good. It was juicy and cooked just right. However it had a spicy coating which was a surprise. Overall it's a bit of mixed bag.

My lady and I decided to celebrate our one year anniversary today at TR's. We could not have had a nicer experience. The whole restaurant and the bathrooms were meticulously spotless. The food was amazing. Our go to has always been PF Chang's. Not any more. Our server Samuel was a gentleman in every way and extremely helpful when ordering our food. As we trecked back to Ashern after dinner, we couldn't stop talking about the TR experience. Than k you guys - Great Job - Well Done. We will be back!

Fantastic service and great meal at Tony Roma’s Saint James. Have not been to Tony Romas in years, but it was worth the visit. Dan was an excellent server and they were very understanding about our reduced group size.
Theresa C — Google review
Went as we had a couple gift cards kicking around. The food was pretty tasty we had the beef ribs and the ribs and lobster combo. Everything was cooked well, ribs were nice and tender and the lobster tail was cooked perfectly, tender and not rubbery. Portion sizes were decent as neither of us were able to finish our meals. The standout of the meal was our server Scott, he was pleasant and charming with funny banter, he was attentive with checking in on us throughout the meal without it feeling like he was hovering. It seemed like he really enjoys and cares for his job. I don't usually think of Tony Roma's when it comes to going out for dinner but after tonight's experience I will be back.

Alway a top notch experience at Tony Roma's. We had the Boneless Beek Short Ribs and the 6 oz Top Sirlion. The ribs were exceptional, so tender. Steak sandwich was done to perfection. Wait staff made sure we were never wanting anything. Highly recommended.

I’m so sad, I came here because I love it, great atmosphere and good food. I had ordered the power and grill power combo with ribs, steak and the sides. One of my shrimps wasn’t deveined and that was quite gross so I didn’t eat that. Also was a lot of mini flies flying around me and my partners food so that made me kind of annoyed…. I don’t think I’d come back to this location. Loved it before this night though!

A Little Pizza Heaven is a casual eatery located in the downtown and Exchange District area of Winnipeg. It's a popular spot for locals, especially after a night out in Osborne Village. The restaurant offers a variety of pizzas, calzones, and sandwiches with standout options like the tomato feta pizza and garlic-buttered crust. In addition to its storefront locations, A Little Pizza Heaven also operates a mobile unit that can be found through social media updates on Instagram and Facebook.
Little Pizza Heaven truly lives up to its name! The food quality is a solid 7-star experience—everything is delicious and made with care. I recently tried their Calzone, and I’m officially a fan. The portion size and quality are both top-notch. The staff here are super friendly, hardworking, and always go the extra mile with excellent service. They create a welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. Honestly, they definitely deserve a raise for the amazing job they do. Highly recommend!

Buffalo chicken pizza was apparently really good, as well as the cheese pizza. My meatless lovers , a bit dry, while not at the same time, not anything I’ll order again personally. Honestly probably won’t come back as this is a ridiculous price to pay IMO. Service was basic for counter ordering, tables were visibly dirty.

Just 2 hours back; Via doordash, I ordered two medium pizzas and a dip with the pepsi……and all they sent me the stuffed bread with the meat ( Imagine being a vegetarian and receiving the non veg food) and on top of that ……they didn’t even give the receipt to the dasher even when he asked for that still they said its not allowed…..then the poor dasher took the pic of the food and sent it to me right away so as to confirm if its the food i ordered because he did check the order that its 2 medium pizzas which wasn’t there …..the staff handed over him something else without the receipt. The staff didn’t even bother to call the customer that whatever you order we can’t make it or process it so would you like anything in the replacement?? NOOOOOO they didn’t do that…….if there would be any option to give the score in negative I would do that …..don’t even deserve a single star…………SCAMMERS

Tried this location for the first time to try their pizza. We had the halal deluxe (garlic crust) and barbecue pizzas. The crusts were thin, had a nice crunch, and I especially like the added kick from the garlic crust. Loved the halal deluxe. It had fresh ingredients and good flavor/sauce. The barbecue pizza was okay but I prefer other types more. I would definitely have pizza here again.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Exceptional Experience at BarBQ Hut Pakistani Non-Veg Restaurant! If you’re a fan of rich, authentic Pakistani flavors, BarBQ Hut Pastani Non-Veg Restaurant is a must-visit! We had an amazing dining experience, indulging in their Nihari, Seekh Kabab, and Biryani, and every dish was absolutely spot on! 🔥 Nihari – The highlight of the meal! Slow-cooked to perfection, the meat was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with deep, aromatic flavors. Paired with naan, it was simply divine. 🍢 Seekh Kabab – Juicy, flavorful, and grilled just right! The smoky aroma and perfectly spiced blend made every bite a delight. 🍛 Biryani – Fragrant, well-spiced, and loaded with delicious flavors. The balance of spices and tender meat made it one of the best biryanis we’ve had in a while. 💯 The ambiance was warm and welcoming, the service was prompt, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Really tasty food! The naan was warm and fragrant, and the butter chicken was full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The only small downside was the restroom — it wasn’t very clean and didn’t have toilet paper, paper towels, sanitizer. Still, I’d definitely come back for the food and the nice atmosphere! The location is a little out of the way for me, otherwise I’d be there far more often. The flavors are excellent, the prices are fair, and the staff are extremely polite and accommodating. Definitely worth the visit — I’ll be back!

The little eggplant is a hidden gem! It has great fresh cooked sandwiches that are to die for. The chick pea soup is amazing! Staff is always friendly and the wait is never too long. The little Eggplant is by far one of the best place to eat in the area.

Probably the best sandwich I've ever had so much flavor. Nice little place if it wasn't for the flags I probably would have missed it great place. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area

Loved the Vegetariana — super fresh, full of flavor, and the crust was spot on! Amy nailed it as both cook and order taker.

Just bought one of their panini sandwiches and soup for the first time. Delicious! They use quality ingredients. They make their own bread and sauces. I will definitely be back!

We hired Little Eggplant to cater a large event this summer. Fil was a pleasure to deal with, making time to meet with us to discuss menu options, providing us with samples, and always responded in a timely fashion. They delivered and set up everything without a hitch! Our guests absolutely loved their paninis.

We ordered catering trays for an event and they were a hit. The house made foccacia which is the base of the sandwiches is excellent. Everyone raved about the sandwiches and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!
