Came here for breakfast but the whole menu is available all day! Delicious food, fresh and good portions. The flavours were very well balanced and interesting. Lovely staff. There is an indoor area and also a covered outdoor area. Would definitely recommend. We came on a Sunday around 10am and it was moderately busy so we we were seated straight away but within 20 minutes the pace picked up a lot and there was a queue outside so definitely a popular place for breakfast/brunch!

We had an overall okay time at The Bristolian but there is definitely room for improvement. We visited with a group of 4 people and even at around 14:00 it was quite busy (it was a Saturday). We were lucky to find a table but that came at a cost. My friend’s pancakes had arrived aprox 30mins post ordering, the rest of us had our food arrive 45mins after ordering. Have in mind 2 out of 4 both had pancakes but somehow the first plate arrived alone and the rest 15-20mins later. Now, about the food! The pancakes were nice, nothing wrong with them. My quesadillas dish was a 10 out of 10, I was extremely happy with them. Sadly the poached eggs on toast were hard boiled (over cooked) which we never had experienced before (especially after waiting 45mins for them! Sadly no staff member ever asked us how our food was, if they did, we would definitely mention to them about the eggs. Overall, the waiting time of our foods, the foods arriving at different times and the eggs being overcooked leaves us no reason to be visiting again.

A lovely little brunch place in Bristol. I've eaten here several times and it has a great atmosphere, outdoor seating and the staff are very nice. It's a nice change from the big chains and it's very unique. Great quality food and menu. It's my go-to when looking for a tasty cooked breakfast! Don't hesitate to try this place when visiting Bristol.

We had a delectable full English breakfast with one extra portion of hash browns so that we could have one each. The bacon was so flavourful in addition to the sun blushed tomatoes and spinach which were a great extra touch. The assam breakfast tea and black coffee were delicious also. The outdoor seating is very pleasant and the indoor decor is lovely. Plenty of pretty ceramic tiles. The bathroom sink is fun! One peculiarity, to save time as it is a very popular venue, you are charged immediately after making your order to which service charges are automatically added. We noticed this on the receipt provided by the staff after payment. The lack of transparency about this was annoying to me as I had not yet received any services from staff. Perhaps I didn’t notice it on the menu but it would have been appreciated to be informed first, or at least be provided a receipt before paying.

We love to visit the Bristolian when in Bristol. We ordered the veggie and vegan breakfasts, both of which are such generous portions we couldn’t finish it! It is always quite busy so be prepared to queue for a little bit, definitely worth it for the good atmosphere and yummy food and drinks.

After hearing a lot from this cafe we left feeling a bit conflicted. The food tasted good, the portions were large and the drinks came out fast and were also very nice, but both my boyfriend and I found a hair in our food, the servers didn't check back to see if the food was alright and didn't come to take the plates after we finished. The fact they don't accept cash is a bit disappointing too but I wasn't surprised as that is the case with a lot of independent places in Bristol these days.

Definitely more hype than quality. Asked to pay upfront, no breakdown, added Service charge 8% automatically. Egg royale was very basic. 1.5 slices of grilled halloumi were not worth £3 at all.

We came here for Valentine’s Day, and we had a lovely evening. The staff were so lovely and friendly. The food we had was absolutely amazing. The salmon was gorgeous and full of flavour and moisture. It was seasoned well. I loved the presentation of our dishes. The atmosphere was very warm, welcoming, and intimate. We had some lovely cocktails and the service was excellent. We got asked if we wanted olives and focaccia, which we thought was complimentary as we already ordered starters, but we had to pay for it. At least we know for next time, as I’d definitely go back to this restaurant.

Me and my partner came here for food and we loved our meals. We went for two pizzas and a mini desert with cocktail. The cocktails were really good quality and well made and the wine was good value. Ella one of our servers was great and really attentive. It’s a shame it wasn’t busy as we had a great time and will definitely go back x

10/10. I came the other night when the weather was lovely and was excited to eat outside. The team were so accommodating, I didn’t have to wait long for food. The calamari and the chicken pasta were brilliant. Will be definitely coming back again when I’m next in Bristol

In all honestly, the service and presentation was decent but the food; starters, main, etc… was all really bad, very oily, off tasting (like off defrosted food), we had less than half of our mains (burger and pizza) and had to leave everything behind, it felt like a real waste of money. Maybe it was a bad day, but wouldn’t recommend.

We had 4 beautiful steaks cooked to perfection and the sauces were delicious. The House Red was the best I've had at a restaurant - so mellow and easy to drink. We were well looked after by our waitress, Olga, who was so polite and pleasant throughout our visit. The reataurant decor is fab and provides the right ambience for a lovely meal anytime of the day.

10/10 for the roast dinner, we all said it was very good. My partner & I had the sticky toffee for pud, let the meal down a bit - very stodgy like a brownie texture? So we only ate half. Music was louder than you’d expect / get in most places, which was nice. Made a better atmosphere rather than a posh silent place. Would definitely go back for the roast dinner

We came here as a large group and all I can say is great things. Olga, our server, was so incredibly attentive and helpful. I have an allergy and she made sure I had alternatives for my drinks which I thought was a really great touch. The food and drinks were delicious and tasty - my margarita pizza was made very well All in all, this place i’d heavily recommend for a bottomless brunch!

Overall nice place for brunch; cool atmosphere. However service is pretty slow which seems to be regular at this location. Coffee was great and food too; I had the hashbrowns with poached egg and bacon and avocado. It would be nicer with bit more bacon though it wasn’t much at all, and I ordered an extra egg at least! Prices are good.

If you're in Bristol at breakfast time this place is a must! A short wait on a Sunday morning and we were in the window bench seats. Glass of water on arrival and soon after our order was taken. Food arrived within 15 minutes 👌🏼 and it was truly scrumptious. A lot of love goes in to this food, shame we live so far away as there are plenty of fabulous drinks and dishes we'd like to try! We both had the home made hash brown stacks. Amazing!

Absolutely delicious and so worth a short wait. Despite being short staffed due to a member of the team having to go home, we had exceptional service. Really impressive. Cannot recommend enough. Even better as a local lady said we should come!

A Bristol Classic. In my 20 years living in Bristol, I’ve stupidly missed years of my life not eating here. Well, no more will I ignore. Really cute little place. You need to get there nice and early to ensure you can get a seat if not you may need to wait outside for some time. The service was lovely and the food was so refreshing, definitely a great find! If only there was one in my local area! We tried their obscure flavoured lattes (banana bread and matcha mango) and really enjoyed them, definitely worth the try if youre open to a range of flavours and love coffee as much as we do!

We had the Vegan Crafty, Blueberry Latte, and Banana Bread Latte. Food is amazing! I don't normally like brown sauce or mushrooms but I enjoyed all of it. Definitely worth the wait in the queue!

Went here after nightshift for breakfast with my friend! The staff were friendly. The food came out quickly. I had the lounge breakfast. It was nice and just enough. The coffee was also good . Recommended for breakfast or brunch. Wide selection.

Wonderful staff, also so happy and bubbly. The food is so tasty and always made to a high standard. The breakfast eggs benedict are perfect and the bacon is cooked just the was i like it. The homemade drinks are delicious we had the pink lemonade. Ice coffee is yummy. Would highly recommend coming here for brunch, lunch or a couple of drinks eorh friends.

Visited for Brunch on a Saturday. Service was quick and friendly, food was delicious and wait time was very reasonable. It can be a little cosy when busy but we always have a great experience here.

A wonderful evening with delicious food, friendly helpful staff and a bonus quiz night thrown in! I booked with a group of about 10 friends and had a really fun evening. We didn’t realise that on a Monday you get a free drink with a meal order (bonus #1) or that there’s a quiz night as well (bonus #2) 😄 Another thing is that we were made to feel welcome by the staff who were really efficient, as well as patient (I’m pretty sure I was being a bit slow to understand the ordering set up which was actually very straightforward). This helped make a good evening really special. 🙌🏼👏🏼

I visited Bristol for a weekend and visited many places but this one is very poorly managed (maybe consider change of whoever runs this). This 1 star goes to the management as there is a lot of things that needs to be improved in this place and has a knock off effect on everything else. Visited Sunday morning for breakfast, we made a booking for 10:30, the place was massively understaffed. Because of lack of staff, the waitresses and people making drinks were super busy and couldn’t keep up (definitely not their fault) but they couldn’t provide good customer service due to that. Our coffee drinks arrived about 20-25 mins after our food, and then I found out my coffee was not what I ordered. There was constant flow of people coming in. Bacon pancakes were good, service was slow. We finished food and then coffees arrived. My vegan waffles were pretty average but that wasn’t the issue. This place is very popular and it needs a lot more staff members - because of lack of staff, customers are not happy when mistakes happen and then obviously it affects waiters (I’m sure this place has high staff turnover, I wouldn’t want to work here). As seen on photo, my table and chair was an inch in front of the disabled toilet which I found very grim regardless if the toilet was in use or not. This table should be for one person only and not for two. None of the above is staff members fault, they are trying their best but this is the only food place in Bristol that needs heavy management changes as clearly it needs works. Sadly we will not be returning here. I highly recommend “be natural cafe” in the market hall, their breakfast was 1000% better.

The wings were dry but there was a good quantity. Unfortunately they forgot to provide the sauce. Fries were good, crispy, definitely above average. The burger was good, could do with more sauce. The beef was interestingly shaped. I prefer five guys though.

Had breakfast here. Got there by 11.55am and we were still allowed to choose from the breakfast menu. The food was good. I had waffles and chicken with bacon. I don't like syrup but it's supposed to come with it. Also, there were lumps of sugar in the waffles. I think this is something I will never get used to. I don't have a sweet tooth so that threw me off but the chicken and bacon was crispy and nice. I had this with hot chocolate which tasted and looked good My husband had the diner Dreamland burger served with onion rings. It says with chips on the receipt, I honestly just noticed as I'm typing this review. But he was not served any chips. He had his meal with coca cola Overall a good experience. Meal came on time and was hot. Service charge was applied.

I had a very pleasant meal here, with two friends. The service was very pleasant, the food was particularly tasty, I can highly recommend the chicken waffles and bacon pancakes looked delicious. I would also recommend trying an oat milk hot chocolate if you get a chance as they are sublime. Overall the visit was very pleasant. I really enjoyed myself and the delicious food set me up for a lovely day exploring Bristol. I cannot recommend this diner enough if you enjoy the aesthetics and food of nostalgia Americana. I’ve had food from this place a few times now. What I can say is: delivery is better than restaurant, chicken is better than beef and if you’re going to get fries, get the “dirty” ones. Good stuff mostly, but a little inconsistent in the quality and doneness of the food. Waiters are always great and helpful though.

A beautiful spot with a really nice atmosphere in the heart of the city. The food is excellent and really well presented, but beware that the waiters can sometimes take a little longer than expected. This is simply because they are so busy and they put in the effort. The food is worth the wait.

Lovely food with great atmosphere, one of the best brunch spots in Bristol. Highly recommend you book as it can get fully booked on weekends. The food used to be better as they had a large gammon bacon slice and a pot of mixed baked beans. I hope they bring them back.

One of my favourite coffee places in Bristol, a place with fantastic service and a lovely spot to people watch. I recently had the White Chocolate Mocha (pic attached) which was absolutely delicious, a really special drink!

Popped in here for an iced chai, not realising it was vegan and was very pleasantly surprised when it was! I am vegan so getting to have a pain au chocolat was a great treat and there were many delicious looking sweet treats to choose from. Nice in and outdoor seating to enjoy.

Was visiting a relative who studies in Bristol and so had a lot of time in the days to myself. Was in Bristol for 5 days and had breakfast here 3 of those. Simply, that great it is. Their banana bread is the best i'll ever have and I could tell the locals all treasured this lovely spot. Workers were kind, atmosphère was exquisitly cosy and it only makes it a tenfold better that everything was vegan and therefore Earth friendly! Great place for those thinking vegan food isn't as good as non-vegan. This was certaintly better in my opinion.

The cake selection was great, staff were friendly and being both 100% plant based and dog friendly is worth 5 stars alone, however it is the setting that shines brightest. The street this cafe is on is as close to perfect as it gets with the mix of independent traders covering everything from turkish delight to antiques.

What a nice café. Everything is vegan, which is fantastic; their sandwiches are tasty and their cakes look scrumptious. I got a macademia latte, which was unexpectedly sweet but not as overpowering as other lattes I've had and their toasted breakfast sandwich which was also really good. The staff is always kind and attentive. Always a nice place to spend your saturday or sunday mornings!

My favourite café in Bristol! Absolutely delicious pastries, sandwiches, and cakes. Also love their extensive drinks menu like the hot chocolates (although it seems to vary a little how chocolaty it is depending on the day). Love that everything is vegan and that it's dog friendly. Always have a browse in the little shop, too. The only thing I'd wish was a bit improved was the sustainability of the items in the shop. All super cute but some don't look like they would last too long.

Hallucinated with all the vegan stuff they had on their counter, both sweet and salty. The focaccia was marvelous. The banana bread delicious. The mince pies unbelievably good, I could go on and on and now I wanna go back just to try everything

Bruh, the prices here are insanely expensive now. They’re acting like tariffs have been attacking the waffle industry or something. I ordered the chocolate waffle with ice cream, and the waffle came out lukewarm and stale. It felt like it had been left on the countertop for a good few minutes, as the ice cream was already melting by the time the waiter handed it over. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump showed up claiming ice cream parlours need tariffs to protect American sprinkles. Probably won’t be coming back here any time soon.

Just another ice cream shop where the ice cream tastes like… ice cream. Nothing special. Nowhere near the taste of real milk-based ice cream you get in non-chain places. Service was so-so. One lady couldn’t even answer a simple question about a cookie, which was a bit disappointing.

The two South Asian males working here on 8th June 2025 were warm to children, chilled, friendly and professional. They topped up our ice cream with extra sauce.., something where a place like this elsewhere would charge and make a big thing about it. They handled a big group of guys who were being drama.. with class. The crepe was wonderful and different (savoury). Toilet was clean. It's been awhile since I've been impressed with things like this..

We went there on Bank Holiday Monday around 10.30 and it was very quite. We had hot fudge sundae and it was delicious. Also the strawberry and banana waffle was good.

Brought the mango bubble drink as the one in London was so good but here in Bristol what a waste of money seriously it was filled to the max with just ice. I had to come home and manually remove the ice and bubbles separately. So disappointed

2025: It’s an okay experience with okay taste desserts. 2023: We were really craving something sweet so we ended up passing by Creams Cafe. The staff were kind, the service was quick, and the portions were definitely enough! Quality was good. Everything tasted great.

We had booked the place for its gorgeous interior and location for a bachelorette celebration. We had a great experience, service was amazing and waitresses/waiters are all very warm and welcoming. Food was all good and cocktails very well made and tasty. Good atmosphere. A couple downsides but one of them is that the main meal was served around 45-1hpur from when it was ordered, we were not too bothered about this as we were happy to have a chat etc but it’s something worth noting. Would recommend

We had lunch here with our friends the day after our wedding and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was amazing and delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful the building’s history as an old bank adds such a special charm.

The Cosy Club strikes that perfect balance between upmarket dining and genuine value that’s surprisingly rare these days. I’ve been coming here regularly for breakfast, and it’s become my favourite spot for a proper weekend treat. The English breakfast here is absolutely superb – everything you’d expect from a quality establishment. The ingredients are clearly top-notch: proper sausages with actual meat content, thick-cut bacon cooked to perfection, free-range eggs, proper mushrooms, and quality toast. It’s presented beautifully without being pretentious, and the portions are generous without being excessive. What impresses me most is that despite the upmarket atmosphere and quality ingredients, the pricing is remarkably reasonable. You’re getting restaurant-quality food at prices that won’t break the bank. The staff are genuinely exceptional – attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and always friendly and professional. They make you feel welcome whether you’re dressed casually or smartly, which creates a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Service is prompt, they’re excellent at accommodating dietary requirements, and they clearly take pride in their work. The venue itself is beautifully decorated – comfortable seating, lovely interior design, and a sophisticated ambience that makes breakfast feel like a proper occasion rather than just refuelling. It’s equally suitable for catching up with friends, a relaxed business meeting, or simply treating yourself. The place is a wowwwww much better than what you can see in the pictures 😃 The service very good, well trained, polite, looks like a happy atmosphere to work. We just had a breakfast and would love to try the food next time. Recommend 100%, very good and tasty breakfast! With delicious healthy options and drinks. A great spot for a pre show dinner. Suitably decorated with a strong theme and sense of character. Food was a little slow arriving and table service also just slightly slower than ideal, but very polite. Allow plenty of time if you want multiple courses. We found the bottle of red wine overly warm too, but we did visit during the summmer months.

Super spot in poss the best part of Bristol. Room was characterfully British with amazing internal architecture. Staff was polite, prompt and very efficient. My Dirty Bap was a delight, well balanced flavours and care taken with ingredient cooking and presentation. Only slight quibble was the Mary could have been given more care and depth. Overall though a super spot and highly recommended.

The food was well-prepared and nicely balanced in flavor. The scrambled eggs were soft and creamy, the halloumi added a savory touch with a pleasant chew, and the spinach and mushrooms brought freshness to the plate. The hashbrown was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, while the avocado on sourdough toast tied everything together with a rich and creamy finish. Portion size was just right, and the presentation made the meal feel inviting. Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable English breakfast experience.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for me to phone ahead and inform cafés what I expect when I get there. The consumption of beverii (the new plural of beverage) is a personal thing. One man's..... person's nectar is another person's poison. The coffee was good 👍 in that it tasted very much of........ coffee. I'm getting obsessed with the pattern on top, the 'swirly', as I call it. This swirly was a half-bottomed (cleaned that one up) attempt by someone who doesn't know how important it is to me. Hence the phoning ahead comment. In mitigation the orange and almond cake was both orangey and almondy in equal measures however it failed in another qualification pertaining to my tastes. It was not moist. Not only do I like the word moist (moist, moistest, most moistest) but I also like my cakes to be moisty. Mmmmmmm..... moist. As in not dry. X out of ten, where X is a low number.

We recommend this place - especially if it’s a sunny or nice day. The deck is great with a view of the water, the service is fast and kind, and the food is excellent. They had gluten free options - their regular pancakes are naturally gluten free!

We had our wedding at the Mud Dock in September 2025. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Firstly, throughout the planning they were really responsive and Victoria was brilliant at advising and helping us plan the menu and decorations. They completely handled our set up and it looked stunning. Secondly, we didn't have to think about anything on the day - it just ran to plan! Thirdly, the food was gorgeous and really great with allergies. We were a little worried about it being enough when service started but but by the end everyone was stuffed. Finally, all the staff on the day were so nice and quick on the bar. They were also very gracious when we smashed quite a few glasses... We can't fault any of the day. We had 76 guests for food and another 15 in the evening. This was the perfect sized venue for that many people. If you book the Mud Dock (which you should) I would also recommend our DJ Dom Lawson, who was brilliant and just got himself all set up and sorted, and kept the dancefloor completely full until the end. Plus our incredible photographer, Matt Willis - the photos speak for themselves.

What a wonderful hidden gem! The terrace is perfect for a quick drink and a bite to eat, the staff are lovely and attentive without being invasive, the food was absolutely spectacular! I honestly can't recommend this place enough, thanks to the whole team for looking after me during my afternoon in Bristol! 🧡

We had our wedding day at Mud Dock in July 2025. It was the most amazing day organised by the Mud dock team - from the initial communication and planning meetings to the day itself everything ran smoothly and the team were absolutely incredible. Perfect place to enjoy a slow breakfast or brunch, outside on the deck with a view it it's sunny, or otherwise there are loads of seats inside. Great choice of food including veggie and vegan options plus a few more unusual options like loaded focaccia. Staff were great and car park next door.

We come here every couple of months and always receive fantastic service, we come back for the faultless service and incredible house champagne and today is no different! We had our wedding reception there and it was perfect. Staff were exceptional and the organisation was faultless. Thank you to the waiter that filled in with the music when I walked off with my phone in my pocket that was connected to the bluetooth. The food was amazing and guests commented that it was the best food they have had at a wedding. The house white and red wine were amazing. Lemon tart is superb.

We went to an art preview. It was sickboys show optical delusion. We were not really sure what to expect, but it was a great evening. If the food for the preview is a representation of what is standard, then you are in for a treat. We had an exceptional 5 course meal (including Sorbet). All cooked to an exceptional standard. We have eaten in many 1 and 2 start m restaurants, and this was as good. The standard of ingredients, presentation, and service was as good as the above, and from what I understand, you can get these 3 course meals from around £35. I would never have thought of eating a quality meal in a department store restaurant, but now I guess you can. This can often work out cheaper than 3 courses in a pub!@ Hey the art was great as well, good one sickboy!

A highly regarded cafe in Clifton that did not disappoint. Situated in the pleasant suburb, this cafe is in a charming area of shops and parks. The cafe has outdoor and indoor seating. The service here was excellent and the attentive. The food was very well presented and tasty. We had the Mexican eggs and the blt. The freshly squeezed orange juice was sublime. Coffee was also fresh and tasty. Overall I can see this place being very busy without the outside area being used in less clement weather. Highly recommended overall.

Came for mid-week lunch and could not have been more pleased. Very welcoming staff and a nice cosy feel to the place. I had the rarebit which was outstanding and will definitely be coming back for. The whole menu was very reasonably priced and you can tell that the ingredients are of good quality. It’s tucked out the way so whilst it was reasonably busy, it didn’t feel overwhelming or uncomfortable.

Average food and service (10% service chg!), wrong order sent to our table twice, full English breakfast costs £15.5 which is very expensive for the quality, nothing exceptional.

Had a decent experience with food there... Phots below will helps to see the food in terms pictures.... None of the items tried are WOW but none of them are bad as well.. The pasta had very less chicken for the price but taste wise , it was okish.. Crispy chicken with hot sauce had minimal hot sauce but taste wise just okay.. The eggs Benedict wise good though.. kids meal wise good in quantity and in price also.. They didn't take Amex payment which is big surprise and a bit disappointing for an American restaurant...

Stop for a bite to eat having eaten here before unfortunately on this occasion the experience was not too good. My wife and I were seated very quickly and our drinks and I chicken wings starter came nice and quickly but that was as good as it got. There seemed to be a lack of staff and one waitress doing more than her fair share (wearing an apron) but not being supported by another female waitress / manager (no apron). The chef’s were getting the food cooked in good time but it took far too long taking the food from the servory to the diners. My classic burger was warm by the time I got it and the fries warm to luke warm, and my wife’s macaroni cheese was very hot but dry. We would eat there again as on two other occasions we’ve enjoyed the meals and we like the atmosphere.

It's been a long time since came to Frankie and Bennys. Bit disappointed with vegetarian options. The pizza was not good. The beetroot and bean burger was dry. Waitress was lovely.

My friend and I came here for lunch and were immediately greeted with lovely staff. We had an allergy on the table and they handled it brilliantly. Food was lovely and drinks were great as well. Melodie was our server and she was absolutely lovely and very attentive. Thank you!

First time going to frankie & bennys in Cabot. For my birthday its a Lovely venue, stunning food and fantastic people our server Amari went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok with our food and our drinks, shes an absolutly amazing person, it made our night that extra bit special. Decent meal with the family, The chicken burger tasted a bit like fish and not a chicken burger but still tasted good, The chips was ok tho I had small portion of chips which tasted alright, The cherry coke was nice and cold and as for ice cream it was alright but could’ve been better with sprinkles or something and there was only 1 staff working there Overal it was a good time with the family. 👍

We were served by Melodie, who did a great job; she was helpful and quick, always willing to answer our questions and note alterations. She was by herself with just two chefs in the kitchen, but the service was fast and the food high quality! I had a wonderful lunch with my friend here, highly recommend.

My partner and I had the pleasure eating here 3 times during our stay in Clifton. We had a wonderful French waitress (I wish we caught her name) and Callum. Both provided excellent service. The food was immaculate. We highly suggest trying the arancini zafferano and arancini funghi though the latter is being taken off the menu which is such a shame! Both were our favorite. The mais frittelle was our second favorite. The food tasted as good as it looked and the pumpkin seeds sprinkled around really made tasteful presentation along with the chili jam that gave it a sweet but delightful kick to it. We also highly recommend the smoothies. And lastly but certainly not the least the Pannacotta was the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had. Didn’t care for the BLT, the bread ratio was too much and there wasn’t any mayo like the description. We also tried the egg purgatorio which was also delicious. There was another waitress with longer blonde hair who served us but she didn’t seem very happy to be there and took my partners mint tea pot away before she could finish it on our first day but other than that the staff and food was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Went for Sunday brunch. The layout and atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the service is friendly. The food took a while to come to the table, which normally I'd be fine with but as we had small children with us it was difficult to keep them occupied. The food was nice, though unfortunately my black pudding was overcooked/burnt. The use of foccicia in the cooked breakfast was excellent and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection.

A very solid Italian restaurant which I would recommend if in the Clifton area, very good value for money! Was a tad cold downstairs. The croquettes were a highlight.

No.1 Harbourside in Bristol absolutely smashed it out of the park! I came in hungry, left in a state of burger-bliss, and already planning my next trip back. Let’s talk about that beef burger—an absolute beast in the best possible way. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and stacked with all the right stuff. The bun? Toasted just right. The toppings? Balanced like a Michelin-starred tightrope act. Every bite delivered a punch of flavour that made my taste buds sing sea shanties. Easily one of the best burgers in Bristol—no exaggeration. And the service? Spot on. Friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming without any of that fake “scripted” feel. The team clearly cares and it shows—from helping with drink pairings to checking in with a smile (and not in that “hover over your table” way). Speaking of drinks: the selection is top-tier. Whether you’re after a crisp local cider, a crafty IPA, or something a little more experimental, they’ve got you covered. Big props for supporting local breweries and keeping it fresh on tap. All of this, right by the water, with those relaxed harbourside vibes? Unreal.

A decent bar right on the water front, a little pricey and we were not told the total before having to pay by card. Would have been a 5 star but any venue that does not value cash customers looses a star from me. Nice Cider try a pint and watch the people go past.

The service was decent; staff were friendly and attentive enough. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to expectations. The burgers, in particular, were a big letdown: overcooked, lacking flavor. With such a prime location, it’s a shame the kitchen doesn’t match the atmosphere. Worth a visit for a drink and the view, but I’d skip the food.

We came here for breakfast on a weekend away and were pleasantly surprised. The eggs Benedict were fabulous, coffee spot on and all staff members were super helpful with prompt service. Would recommend. Thanks to Connor and your team.

Stopped by here for a drink on Wednesday 5th November. The staff were really friendly and efficient. You can bring your dog in, and when she saw ours she immediately came over with a bowl of water.

Recently visited and was immediately uncomfortable at the way some of the staff were being spoken to. I've never left a review before and I'm a real believer in encouraging independent business in Bristol which was why we found and wanted to try this venue. We swung by on our way to The Hippodrome but, after our experience so soon after walking in we decided we'd rather have an ale elsewhere. It's a shame as it seems like it could be a nice spot.

well not the best place of coffee. We waited 20 minutes for 2 coffees. They brought just one at the beginning with no dish, no spoon, only the cup. Then after 5 minutes they brought the other hot chocolate which instead of hot chocolate it was hot milk. Prices are not that cheap for what you get served (3,60 each). And also it came already spilled over the cup on some parts. Service could be improved.

I was looking forward to trying some food from a 100% vegan cafe, unfortunately i had to wait almost 50 minutes for my food to arrive. I would understand this wait time if it was busy but it wasn’t. Once my food arrived, the member of staff threw it down on the table and stormed off. I love lettuce but as you can see from the photo, the lettuce was bigger than the burger itself and I found the burger to be quite dry

We had two delicious fully vegan breakfasts, and amazing coffee. The staff were really friendly, and its in a great location in the heart of Stokes Croft. Twenty years open this year, heres to twenty more. We’ll be back for the Biscoff brownies later :)

I was stumbling around on a rainy Sunday morning and I came across this gem! Amazing vegan breakfast and oat hot chocolate. Staff were really friendly, food was seriously tasty!

Superb find. Vegan, locally sourced, community orientated and inexpensive. We thoroughly enjoyed the vegan burger and sandwiches on granary bread. Update: Most recent visit. Cafe Kino is going from strength to strength, not only surviving but even thriving. The food options have grown and are more varied than ever. Highly recommended; The smashed green pea and aubergine tempura on sourdough. An essential space.

Amazing little cafe, perfect for a lazy brunch. Good quality ‘cafe food’ with a twist, their bread was full of flavour and with great texture. Service was attentive and prompt. Chorizo Bloody Mary is well worth a try!❤️😋 I’d love to come back one day!

I had the vegetarian breakfast and I absolutely LOVED IT!! BEST vegetarian fry up for sure :) I also loved the pinto beans and mushroom was so great!! My partner had the meat one and he loved that one too! One small advice is if we can have the music a bit quieter it will make the atmosphere even better :) I also think chai latte could be less sweet (or have option to add sugar if we need) could be even better but overall absolutely LOVED IT!!

Fantastic place for brunch! Service was excellent, and the food was incredible. Most of the ingredients are locally sourced, and the animals were humanely raised. Great options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I highly recommend the lemon & almond cupcakes!

Went in at a quiet part of the day. Was very pleasant, there were children’s books there which was handy for the two year old with us. I didn’t have a meal, but we had tea, latte, a baby chino and a hazelnut brownie. It was all reasonably priced and I felt that there was a good quantity of tea in a pot. The hazelnut brownie was very nice with whole hazelnuts in it.

Only recently started going here, didn't know what I was missing! Awesome ham and cheese, almond, almond and chocolate croissants, lemon curd Danish, lots of other tasty options. Natural wood interior is very cozy.

Good location and interiors. More of a cafe than a place to eat. Limited options for lunch but 1 or 2 good choices on the brunch menu. We went down for a lunch meeting a friend after a long time. Overall experience was good but rushed out in the end even when the restaurant was empty. Customer service is not great at all.

Sunday brunch is a busy time for Bakers & Co. There was a minor wait to get seated but they provided a menu so we were ready to order as soon as a table was free. The morning toast, essentially French toast, was amazing. Two thick slices of sourdough (?) drenched in their cinnamon, sugar & egg mixture with creme fraiche. When you add cured bacon (extra £2) and rhubarb, it’s a sweet haven! I enjoyed the spices in the sausage of the baker’s breakfast too. There was a long time for our food to arrive, however, the service is friendly. I believe it to be worthwhile.

Mrs Potts’ used to make my favourite carrot cake. It was £4.75 and would come with all the chocolate toppings. There were thick layers of cake and was good value for the price. A slice of the carrot cake now costs £6.50 and does not include any toppings. The chocolate drizzle comes at an extra cost of £2. The size of the slice and the sponges has become smaller. Although it tastes nice, the quality and quantity have both gone down and charging almost £9 for a slice of cake is extortionate.

Mrs Potts has been a favourite of mine for years with its amazing cakes and cute atmosphere. Every time I go in I love the cakes and brownies as well as the drinks but sadly it has got so expensive that I only go once a year now. I am very pleased that you no longer have to pay for chocolate drizzle but with a coffee and slice of cake costing £11 it’s hard to justify regular visits. Nevertheless the staff are always lovely and the food is incredible.

Mrs Potts Chocolate House is easily accessible. The cafe itself is decorated with warm lights and is pleasing to the eyes. It’s popular in the area and it gets very busy as well. There are few seats and you have to check if people are done so you can take over their table. (4 stars for this) Food wise it was scrumptious. We ordered their salted caramel pretzel cupcake and their chocolate cake (I forgot the name) without the drizzle. Both were fabulous. As for the cupcake, there was a perfect balance from the cake to the icing and to the pretzel. There was a crunch when you bit it in the cake was moist and it was flavourful. The chocolate cake on the other hand was also tasty! Velvety touch when you bite into it and the flavour is there. We also ordered there Earl Grey tea and a coffee which were a perfect pair for the sweet deserts we ordered.

Cosy café where you can get all things chocolate. We thoroughly enjoyed the "Brownie Sundae"! The atmosphere was relaxed, the only negative was the noise, it wasn't overly crowded but still a bit noisier than I like.

I have been going for many years, and have visited Bristol, Bath & Cardiff. The staff have always been friendly. But they have completely out-priced me - I paid over £6 for a cookie that seemed smaller than usual. The white chocolate in the middle didn’t taste as flavorful as previous visits. I think high prices and smaller portions mean I won’t return.

The dessert was amazing. Looking forward to try something else from this place again.

I visited them for breakfast time, they open at 8:30am but the kitchen at 9am!!!! The biggest and most delicious surprise what the goulash available at that time in the morning, absolutely delicious full of flavour with the spicy pepper paste on the side!! The hungerian Lecho was also a delicacy. Really nice atmosphere and very hygienic restaurant. Definitely if you see thus, you should go without second thoughts <3

My second visit to gorge myself on the delicious cheese and gerkin toastie with Hungarian Lecho; enough to feed two but my excuse is that i’m pregnant and it’s delicious with the most gorgeous service, so why not? The coffee is also outstanding.

I stopped in this wonderful, friendly little cafe a couple of times while on breaks from being tattooed over the road. What a wonderful treat it was. Super friendly and such lovely food. Both standard cafe fare but also some gorgeous Hungarian meals and cakes which resulted in me, being neither especially hungry or a huge fan of cake, enjoying a delicious Hungarian cake and a huge plate of smashed avocado and feta with scrambled egg. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too. Hugely recommended

Personally, I love this little cafe. Their coffee is unbeatable not to mention the cakes...On weekends, they also prepare extra delicacies for guests with a sweet tooth like me.🫣 I've already had the chance to try several breakfast and lunch options plus seasonal menus, but none of them have disappointed me so far. You get really tasty, eye-catchingly decorated large portions no matter what you order, so you won't go home hungry! I also really like the staff, they are nice, always smiling, it's easy to start a conversation with them, and they also take jokes well. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We called 'At the Well Cafe and Launderette' for Brunch on Wednesday. It offered some interesting seating on the pavement, just off the main Stokes Croft road, which is noisy, dusty but a great place for people watching. The Menu consisted largely of American Pancakes with various toppings as well as other, more traditional breakfast fare. I chose the Transatlantic Pancakes (Mushrooms, Scrambled eggs, streaky bacon all covered with “A liberal dousing of Maple Syrup”) £8.50. Sadly I was disappointed. The Pancakes were thick and heavy. Though they tasted good they were a bit stodgy which meant they needed lots of additional flavours to go with them. The streaky bacon hit the spot but mushrooms and Scrambled eggs didn't. The Pancakes were described as 'light and Fluffy' but I'm not sure I would have described them as such. Sorry Guys. My Sister made a better choice going for the American Pancakes with Bacon and Blueberry at £7.50 was a pound cheaper but I cant think why ? Unfortunately they were a bit 'frugal' with the Maple Syrup, even serving it in tiny hand made clay jugs. My wife went for her old Favourite. Poached Eggs on Sour Dough. Here's where I get on my high horse because I just don't get Sour Dough Toast. It is always too crisp for me and almost always cuts my gums to pieces. There are some great artisan bakers making fabulous bread (there is one not 20 yards along the road where we bought Croissants and a lovely fresh loaf) so why not offer a choice? But Jaki loved hers and was extremely satisfied. We ordered Tea and Coffee (in a Cafetière) but they forgot to bring any cups, then there were no spoons and finally, I had to ask for Sugar. All trivial but you expect places to get these simple things right first time ? There was no issue about social distancing as we were the only customers initially though by the time we left, there were several groups of people seated inside and out. No one was using the Launderette facility whilst we were there which is a shame as I would have liked them to be really busy. I did wonder whether the smell of Laundry went well with food? Service was acceptable without being exceptional, polite but lacked any intimacy which these niche places often have. The Bill came to about £14 in total because we got some discount through the Eat out to Help Out scheme which meant it was good value for money, but had we paid the full price, I might not have been quite as pleased. £8.50 for two pancakes is, in my book. Expensive. So if you need your smalls washing and you want to eat at the same time, this might be a good call. I suspect there is more work to do on the business model but I wish them well and despite my reservations about the pancakes I would go again and we did enjoy our visit. If only for the people watching.

Absolutely delicious! Great vibe and probably one of the best lunches I’ve had - the Osaka pancake, with a delicious combo of sweet, salty and tangy flavours. Highly recommended even if the food wait is a bit long.

Americans pancake with streaky bacon and maple syrup + pancake with poppy seeds, yogurt and blueberries. They were one fo the best pancakes stacks I ever had, fluffy and so delicious

Great experience. The ladies that work there were lovely and so accommodating with people's orders; no troubles if you want to share, or have allergies, or any kind of food specifications, they're very nice and customer oriented. The decorations are also beautiful with eclectic dishes and homey vibes. The laundrette part of it is interesting but doesn't mess with the atmosphere it only adds to it. The food was delicious and well proportioned. We arrived at around 10 am and it had many free tables but it quickly filled up, so I recommend getting there early :)

I recently booked a duvet wash and I was super impressed! My duvet was collected and returned same-day and I was amazed to find that at least 5 years 🙈 worth of tea-stains had all disappeared! Absolute bargain and amazing service. Would definitely recommend. I have also eaten pancakes here before which were delicious and I have never forgotten the homemade salted caramel sauce!

Lovely, lively little place! I popped in for coffee and work while I was waiting for my car at Kwikfit. Plug sockets a plenty and great atmosphere. Coffee was delicious and you get your own little cafetiere, very instagram worthy! I didn't get any food but the menu looks great and the bacon smells coming from the kitchen were insane!! And it's a laundrette - really cool place, definitely recommend.

A warm and lovely café. I had the transatlantic pancakes which were amazing! Great scrambled eggs and the pancakes were perfect. Also the coffee was really tasty, best cup I've had in a long time. Can't rate the laundromat side of things yet :p

Nice decent vibe in the caffe. Some food options wasn’t available on that day. Food got served pretty quick the panini is a good choice to go for. Very nice lady served us. It is on a busy corner and need to park up somewhere then walk to this place.

Very few places in the UK do affordable freshly cooked eat-in Halal English Breakfast - Monte Carlo was a gem which is one of them for which we had to come all the way from Swindon. I had the Full Jack ( 3 halal chicken sausages , 3 halal slices of turkey bacon , 2 half-fried eggs , 2 hash browns , grilled mushrooms , beans , french fries , toast with butter ) which costed only £ 10 ! You cannot get such a huge platter in that price these days ! Our order arrived within 15 minutes of ordering - even though it a small place with a few people who manage it - they were extremely polite , helpful and swift with their service. 1 gave one star less for the Atmosphere because there was no music being played ( maybe a one-off as I am not a regular customer ) and the toilets upstairs were really small and not that appealing - they could add an air freshner or at least a toilet brush 😅 But well , if you're only coming for the food - you will love it ! Keep it up guys - will definitely try again if I come to Bristol 😊

This place is a gem. Halal and vegetarian. Right next to a mosque for easy access for prayer. Nice devour and table service, can't fault it to be honest. Update:2021 The place has been refurbished and the food is as great as ever. Managed well during the pandemic and and still as vibrant and energised as ever. A real microcosm of Easton. Can get busy on Fridays in particular.

It's ok but I wouldn't be rushing back again in a hurry which was a shame as it had potential. Nice clean cafe with friendly staff and good prices however the food let it down. The 2 that marked it down for me was firstly the bacon or whatever that was. I have never seen bacon look or taste like that before and trust me it's not good and the other is a pet hate of mine which is cold toast with a hot breakfast.... ! The rest of it was ok but definitely nothing to write home about.

One of the best breakfast places I’ve ever visited. They have some specials like salmon breakfast and French toast. They serve halal so I’ve been there twice. Once alone and once with family. They are really good in terms of customer service, food taste and quality. They always serve fresh. Their portion size is also massive so if you’re a foodie like me you must try this!

I've been here multiple times now. At first it was on a whim as I was working in the area... But this became a place I would go out of my way to visit. Having lived in Colombia for many years, it's incredibly rare to find a place that does anything even approaching local food. But they have a pretty good crack at it! The Indian influence is very obvious, but I don't dislike it. The tea is absolutely amazing, and worth the visit for that alone. The coffee is Colombian and well prepared. But the staff... There's a girl that works there who is constantly smiling, and incredibly attentive. They have absolutely nailed their hiring with her. All in all, it's a great place to chill and get some worm done, with good coffee and nice food.

My local coffee shop, very lovely. Predisposed to a sunny aspect. The coffee is excellent. Come for the coffee, stay for the pan de queso. I've occasionally brought my laptop and worked or studied here, something I'd never do anywhere else. We've never been disappointed with the food or the ambience.

I went yesterday for the first time time and I must say is so authentic if it wasn’t for the uk weather I thought I was in a real Colombian cafe! Had the rice bowl with pulled pork beans etc it was delicious and so big for only 10£ especially these times in Bristol! Also coffee was delicious.Highly recommended!

This place used to be great. Sadly that is not the case anymore. We went for breakfast, waited an hour for the first meals to come out, no word of sorry for the delay, or, can I get you a drink on the house? When we said it was taking a long time and asked for the second set of meals to be done as soon as possible, it was still an unacceptable amount of time, and the poached eggs came out hard. Asked for a refund on everything, no apology, not hint of remorse. What a disappointment compared to a few years ago.

Sad to see this spot has fallen off massively. Perhaps the worst espresso I've had in Bristol - the cafe is dirty and falling apart. The toilets look like they haven't had a basic clean in days. I can't comment on the food because I decided it would be to risky to try food out of somewhere with those cleanliness standards. There was no music playing, no customers (unsurprisingly) and the man serving me had his headphones in. Truly a terrible experience - which is such a shame because this cafe used to have character and great service.

The portion size of the scrambled egg on arepa was less than half the size I would expect for the price. The egg tasted a little unpleasant, as if it was not very fresh. The service was slow on a quiet day, and not particularly attentive or warm. Very disappointing as I love arepas and was looking forward to eating out.

Amazing service and the food was great! The juice is really nice but the Lavender tea was a bit overpowering. Overall I have no complaints!

Decided to try somewhere different in Bristol and I’m so glad we did! All the smoothies sounded so good and the one I picked was great. We picked the hummus and baba ganoush deals with pita and salad which was just what we were looking for. Good serving for £7 with even some pita to take home! The decor was natural and it was a pretty spot. Definitely want to return for smoothies and their breakfast bowls which looked amazing too!

One of the best hidden gems on a budget in Bristol. The food is healthy and delicious, and I keep coming back for more. Definitely a really great choice for a lunch in the city centre with a friend.

My husband and I went there for lunch. We had the babaganoush and spinach manouche with mango ginger smoothie. It was delicious, served hot, and very filling. The price was excellent! The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely go back for a meal if we are in the area again.

A lovely little café in the heart of Bristol. My partner and I love to stop in for a smoothie or a juice when we are in Bristol. The baristas are friendly and the vibe is calm, with a woody interior filled with plants to give it a natural vibe. The selection of smoothies and juices are brilliant and not only are they tasty they are also nutritious. The manouche bread is delicious and what stands out most when I eat it is how fragrant it is, typically you taste flavour when eating but this is like tasting flavour and smell, it's hard to explain so drop in and try one for yourself! Keep doing what your doing and we look forward to our next visit. Big love!

Came recently as I loved their Vegan Potato Pizza slice but I think it’s sadly been removed from their menu, I tried the Artichoke and Burrata Panuozzo instead which was delicious and I’m glad I tried something different from their menu. The sourdough crumpets were also a big hit!

This is a really excellent place. The staff are very friendly, when you get their attention and the food is excellent. Their pizza slices are really something to try! Then you have the bread you can buy to take away. Which also smells absolutely fabulous. The coffee is a great roast too, not too bitter and plenty of flavour - at least in the decaf blend. There is no a/c here, however there are some fabulous big windows to open when it is warm 😊

Really nice atmosphere, with massive windows running through the full length of the place. Looks amazing in the afternoon sun. The food amd coffee were also good. Pizza slices seem expensive at first, but they are the size of like 3/4 of a regular pizza and made on a very thick base - worth checking out!

The food here is genuinely amazing. The pastries and patisserie are always a pleasant surprise. We will always get 1 sweet 1 savoury but honestly always lost for choice. I’m so glad it’s all freshly made. The pizzas here are delightful, freshly made for you every time.

Love the coffee at this vibrant place. The staff are always so friendly. The Friand is delicious. You get served quickly even when busy and nothing is a bother to them.

I enjoyed the tea & pastry but was so disappointed by the service & feel like they shouldn’t force you to have table service & pay a service charge if they really can’t deliver…. I went on a Friday morning, it wasn’t particularly busy & the one waitress seemed to be having a chilled day, time to chat to other staff etc on the other side of the room without looking round to see if people need help. I only got served when I went up to the counter & then told its table service, I also had to go over to ask to pay my bill as I waited so long to get any attention. For a small order I didn’t bother to quibble the service charge but it has left me feeling disappointed, I probably wouldn’t rush back just for this reason.

Fantastic!! So happy. Rose was a brilliant hostess too. The meatballs were 👌 and coffee too. Rarely does a place perform so well on all fronts - coffee, bakery, main courses, atmosphere, decor…Bristol is spoiled!

I can’t believe that we wasted nearly £40! To only then throw it away what a waste. First and last time here. The cookie dough was stuck to the paper parchment and was very difficult to eat. Then the sticky toffee pudding was so not worth the price, it was small in size and tasted like its store brought Very disappointed.

Quality of the desert has drastically reduced, I ordered 2 ferror rocher waffle and it was AWFUL , soo dry and only had ferror rocher in each waffle ,the sauce was of a cheap quality and tasted nothing like chocolate. Extremely disappointing service and definitely not going to order again ! Avoid

Imran at counter was super friendly and recommended us the top dishes. My first time and it was super delicious.

Ordered via deliveroo and had an absolutely appalling experience! Entire order was in pieces and leaking, milkshake had exploded and covered and soaked all other packaging, which went all over my carpet and rug when driver handed it over, took ages to clean! What did survive was mediocre at best, cheap quality items like the waffle covered in sauce and extras to make them seem 'luxury', all that whilst being at ridiculous prices. The honeycomb cheesecake was the worst part though, sickly sweet, tasted artifical and was a tiny portion for £7. Ruined my night and spent ages cleaning up, my recommendation would be to avoid this place!

Went last night, the employees were super nice and welcoming couldn’t recommend more, only place open late at night ice cream was great and everyone was super kind and lovely.

Ordered a delicious maltesers waffle which was super soft and tasted amazing. Got a biscoff thickshake as well and would highly recommend it.

I went to Bana Dessert with a friend and had the caramel milk cake along with the triple chocolate ice cream. The cake was absolutely delicious. I had never had it before, and I was blown away by the beautiful texture. It paired wonderfully with the rich, indulgent chocolate ice cream, creating a fusion of flavours that truly danced on my palate. The customer service was equally impressive. The two women behind the counter were very friendly and helpful when it came to choosing what to order. I also loved the interior design of the place. It had a lovely Arabic inspired feel that added to the overall atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Had a baklava and Turkish tea, both amazing. The owner was very friendly and even added a free scoop of ice cream to my baklava. Staff were nice and friendly. Would definitely come back.

Had their cheesecake & milk cake. Both were very nice. Their Arabic tea was 10/10. I must say I their prices a very low but quality of desserts is excellent! Thank you guys

We visited Pieminister for our wedding meal on Friday. We didn't want a standard wedding meal preferring to have a more informal get together with friends and family. We opted for the bottomless brunch. On arrival the staff had gone the extra mile. The table was tastefully dressed, there were welcoming and congratulatory messages. There were fresh flowers and some gifts for us. The food was excellent, served in good time and was all well presented. As for the drink element of our meal...it just kept coming. The staff were very generous and never kept us waiting. They did brilliantly and all of our guests commented upon them. We had a lovely time on our special day. Your staff and venue were a big part of it. Thank you so much.

As someone born and raised in Bristol, I have always felt a sense of pride when I see local businesses grow and thrive, and Pieminister is a perfect example of that. Knowing it started right here in my hometown makes supporting it feel even more worthwhile. From the moment we stepped inside, the experience was warm and welcoming. The service was genuinely outstanding. In particular, the lady with glasses and several badges on her uniform really made our visit special. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space, checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. It is rare to find such thoughtful service these days, and she deserves to be recognised for it. The food was just as impressive. I opted for the cheese pie, served with creamy mashed potato and a generous helping of vegetarian gravy. Every element of the dish was delicious. The pie had a crisp golden pastry with a rich cheesy filling that was full of flavour without being overpowering. The mash was smooth and comforting, and the vegetarian gravy tied it all together beautifully. It is clear that a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. The restaurant itself was beautifully designed and well laid out. I particularly appreciated the warm ambient lighting, which created a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. It felt inviting without being too casual, perfect for a comfortable meal out. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the portion size. While the quality of the food was excellent, the quantity did not quite match the price point. For the cost, I was hoping for something a little more substantial. That said, the flavours and overall experience still made it worthwhile. All in all, it was a lovely visit with great food, exceptional service, and a setting that strikes just the right tone. I will definitely be returning, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comforting meal with a touch of Bristol charm.

On the hottest day of the year when you can’t imagine anything being worst than leaving the house, this was the best place to ever happen!! Came for bottomless brunch and the service was absolutely faultless on a busy Saturday. The food (especially moolin rouge) was incredible. Without doubt the best brunch I’ve had in a long time. I was so hesitant to do a brunch here to begin with but so glad I came as everything was great. Have already started to recommend so I’m sure you’ll be seeing me again!!

Popped in on my way home from work yesterday and had a very good experience. Not a restaurant I ever use, pretty sure it was my first time in a Pieminister and the young man Dylan who was serving made me feel very welcome. He was polite, friendly and easy to interact with. Seemed happy in his job. Food came out quickly and was nicely presented. Cosy little place. Sat back from the bustling Broad Quay of Bristol’s City Centre I was quite content. You wouldn’t think from the outside it goes right back, so you can dine comfortably away from the street full of busy activity.

Lovely server who was very helpful and attentive. The food was ok. Chips and gravy were nice, coleslaw was their own style and in some kind of tomato based sauce rather than mayo. Got the goat cheese, sweet potato and spinach pie that was cheesy in taste but the pastry and portion size could’ve been better. Ginger ale was gorgeous and refreshing though. Also a great GF selection too which is brilliant when you really fancy a pie although it was too hot for me to try one.

Dylan was great - made our bottomless brunch an amazing experience- will definitely come back! Food was brilliant and so tasty!

Just back from a lovely early dinner, food and service was amazing. Staff were very attentive. Absolutely enjoyed the bottle of wine that Joe recommended, thank you. Also for all you dog owners, Coppa Club is completely dog friendly.

TERRIBLE FOOD!!! 4 prawns on a dry slice of bread with a lot of dry onion and fennel, horrible for our starters. DRY CHICKEN for main meal and a looootttt of red cabbage, that no one ate!! I will not recommend that place for food. Service was the only thing that was good about this place. Walk away, so many better places to eat in Clifton.

Amazing Spot for a Sunday Brunch! We stumbled upon Coppa Club and were immediately drawn in by the beautifully set-up tables — eye-catching colors, neatly arranged, and right in the middle of the pavement, creating such a charming atmosphere. We decided to stop for a quick coffee and breakfast with my partner and our baby, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. As a true coffee lover, I can confidently say their coffee is top-notch — far superior to anything you’d get from the big chains. Our food arrived within a few minutes, and everything was served with care. The staff were incredibly polite, well-dressed, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. The quality of the food is a solid 5 out of 5 — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Having tried brunch spots all over the UK, we can easily say this is one of the best we’ve ever come across. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food, extensive wine by the glass. Good service and decent value for money

We were met by incredibly friendly staff and a great atmosphere. However, the food was not at a comparable standard. We had a sharing plate, arancini balls, two steaks and desserts a winter mess and a creme brûlée. The sharing plate was standard, did the job, supermarket standard olives. Could have been done at home, to a much higher quality from Chandos deli, which would have been significantly cheaper. The truffle arancini balls just had a frozen feel to them and were over flavoured with the truffle and otherwise quite bland. Then the steaks arrived and these were the most disappointing steaks I have had. The sirloin was £35 and an additional £3 for sauces. Steaks were tasteless, incredibly chewy and most certainly not worth the money. Chips were standard. But just not the steak and chips you would expect for nearly £40. Desserts were good, neither exceptional or poor. All in we spent £180 for two people and given that price we felt that there was clearly and significantly better value for money at other places around Clifton. This also included a bottle of wine which was just an overpriced blend charged at £45 which was significantly overmarked. We wouldn’t return nor recommend, solely on the food and the price of the food. The quality of the food is simply misaligned with the price.

Beautiful restaurant, great ambience and lovely staff. I went with my friend and we ordered a steak, a pizza, & calamari as a starter. Calamari and pizza were delicious! Incredibly fresh & well balanced. Salad with the steak had a tangy honey mustard goodness about it and fries were well-salted. Steak itself tasted okay, despite the chimichuri sauce.

I’ve really missed Kaspa’s since it closed down in my local town but its good to know that I’ve still got somewhere to have a good desert! I was served by a lovely girl called Miss Amber and exceeded my expectations! Service was prompt and my order was made to perfection. They’ll be seeing me more regularly! Would definitely recommend if you have a big sweet tooth 🤭

Every time we come here we are always treated so nicely. We have created a great bond with the staff especially Betty and Mandra, they are always so kind and cheerful and accommodate our requests! They remember our orders and place it correct every time, which is such a talent! I highly recommend this place to everyone :)

I visited this establishment this evening with the three service users I support, and unfortunately, our experience was very uncomfortable. When we paid in cash, the woman behind the counter asked if we needed the change, stating they didn’t have any in the till. I explained that yes, we did need the change, as it belongs to the individuals I support. Shortly after that, they reached in the till and handed us the correct change. Throughout the interaction, the staff spoke in a language we didn’t understand while casting side glances at us, which made both myself and the service users feel uneasy. They continued conversing in that language while occasionally looking the individuals I was with up and down. I found the overall customer service to be disappointing, and I feel compelled to share this experience out of respect and advocacy for the people I support.

I have been there a few times for waffles and ice cream and it was very delicious, tasty And fresh. Here you have a large and delicious choice that I have never seen before in Bristol. The place is modern, tidy, spacious, big, clean, amazing and unique place which makes it very good to be in front of the desserts. The customer service was good, fast, reliable, informative, respectful, responsive, helpful, amazing and professional, which made me know this was the place to have dessert there every now and then. It's worth paying the money for the service and food, which is why I'm very happy with them. If you don't go there, you'll regret it because you've never had something this good in Bristol, I definitely recommend Kaspas Longwell Green.

Desserts ok. Service extremely slow. About 7 people working behind the counter / in the kitchen. Each of them taking a solid amount of time to chat amongst themselves / doss about / stack boxes / be on their phones / chat some more / do everything but get customers' orders out in a reasonable time. It took over 25 mins to be served two ice creams. I had to go query what had happened to our order. Turns out they had simply taken the order but not actually made it. The place is no more than 1/4 full... two stars...

The best kaspas I’ve ever eaten in my life, the quality of the food and the service is excellent, I’m so pleased of Daniel and Betty they have been the best staff there since I know kaspas in longwell green, Daniel and Betty there kind, respectful and sweet like the waffles. I recomand to all my friends and family to go there!!!!!

Went here with a friend and we both had an amazing meal, only dropped the food to 4 stars as my friends steak was over salted, otherwise it was great. The staff were also lovely, really attentive and friendly, just what you want.

We had a simple but delicious breakfast on Sunday morning in this stunning building. No rush and relaxed service was just what we needed. Sadly we'd eaten our meals before I took any photos but do enjoy the pics of inside and outside We'll come back for cocktails in the evening next time in the basement with it's iconic bar ("Play it nice and cool")

Went for the Sunday brunch at The Granary and it was outstanding. The spread of salads, meats, and vegetables was so fresh and well put together. The lamb and the dill-crusted salmon were absolutely delicious. Even the little touches like the hummus, deviled eggs, squash with sesame, and the beet salad were spot on. Such a great brunch experience

Having heard about the great buffet on Sunday lunch I decided to give it a try for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. Lots of choice of all sorts of food, freshly baked bread. Yum! And a few desserts at the end to round it all off including my favourite - lemon posset. Highly recommended

Wanted to go for well over a year and finally visited The Granary on the weekend. I never usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to share this one. The food was okay, the bun on the breakfast muffin was great and so was the bacon. However the salad was very underwhelming. For 17£ you get not even 100g of chicken, I had 3 pieces smaller then half of my thumb. The grilled peppers were a nice addition to the flavour, but for a “main” you barely get any food. And I don’t think it deserves the name “chicken salad”. The service was a mixed experience as well. Two members of staff were incredibly nice, but one was quite cold and a little bit rude, which made my overall impression worse. The place itself is very nice, the vibes are very cosy and the cappuccino was perfect. So overall, a 3/5 seems like a fair rating.

The restaurant has a warm and relaxing feel with a good level of lighting and plenty of space between the tables. We'd been planning to visit for dinner for quite a while so we were really looking forward to it. We were rather taken aback by the wine prices with a bottle of red or white starting g at £40 so we plumped for a 500 ml carafe. We shared a flat bread, fried korean chicken and frito misto to start with, the frito misto was very bland, the batter was poorly seasoned, the flatbread was light and delicious and chicken rather good so off to not a bad start. Howeve, the flat iron steaks with Pedro Ximenez sauce were rather dissapointing, and certainly not as tender as wed hoped and i found the sauce personally a little over powering and acidic. They'd run out of the Pierre Koffman fries so we were offered bay seasoned fries, so the dish overall didn't quite live up to our expectations. The bill was over £110 and we both came away feeling a little underwhelmed

Visited for the third time this week. I’ve now been for, breakfast on my own: Lots of other solo diners so I felt perfectly comfortable, the homemade milk buns are to die for. dinner with friends: love the table in front of the kitchen for a bit of a theatrics, the sourdough breads were insanely good and I was really impressed with the vegan bits I tried (I’m not vegan) to the point I’ve recommended to all vegan friends since. Fried chicken blew my mind. dinner with my husband and daughter: Great they now do a kids menu, not the cheapest (£8 for a main, starters and desserts extra) but seriously good food. She chose the fish tempura which was one of my favourites on the previous visit. We had the £45 for two Tasting Menu with the £20pp wine flight. Husband is very spice sensitive so not great if you are similarly inclined but if you don’t mind a little heat the food was incredible and I couldn’t get over what great value it was. Service is always great, staff friendly but not overbearing and happily to give you more info if you have questions as I usually do. Think the decor is gorgeous. It is as sadly a little quiet on a Weds evening but we dined early (5pm) and it was the night of ‘protest’ so probably not a true reflection. Would love to go on a Saturday eve if we could get a babysitter as the downstairs bar looks fun for drinks afterwards! Highly recommend.

Their sandwiches are really simple but delicious. Quick service, but it was early sunday morning, so it was very quiet. It has a nice cosy atmosphere.

The Australian server has a bad attitude. We persisted with the order and wish we didn't. The coffee was horrible and we couldn't drink ours (both ice and normal). Also the sandwich had a very grainy texture and the leek had a weird taste, maybe it was going off). The photo shows how much we didn't eat. On leaving I tried to give feedback that the food tasted bad etc (not for a refund which I don't need) but was giving more attitude from the same women asking how a cheese and leak sandwich could taste bad, haha! I told her to try it...

Came in around 10am for some breakfast. Server was quite unfriendly. They don’t take cash, they don’t take Amex. They don’t do cooked breakfast. £4.80 for fresh orange juice. Nice place but the staff are consistently moody and not great at customer service. If you can’t be nice and smile at customers at 10am on a quiet morning I suggest you don’t do a customer facing job?

They sell an excellent banana bread, but their coffee is really not good. The flat white was actually bad, and the Americano was drinkable but not something I enjoyed. I got two banana breads in two days, but I don’t think I’ll ever get their coffee again.

Everytime I come over I have to struggle with the rude staff attitude. Today, a staff member kept repeating her question and looks frustrated - why do you do the job when it’s too much stress for you? Mind you, the shop was empty. She handed over the coffee almost spilt over with the most childish attitude. Incident on Sunday, 27th at 11:15 am. Management, can you teach your staff to be professional?

Good food and coffee including fresh salads. Breakfasts are served until 11.30 with avocado sourdough toast as well as full English and pastries. It is not open at weekends but it is not far to go to their other café on Welsh Back.

Diverse and delicious lunch menu with good and tasty vegan and vegetarian options. Really great value - portions were large including sharing boards.

A local bakery, Dela is a very nice place to have your breakfast this or any other day. The place is very open. Babies and doggos are most welcome. Staff is very nice as well. I ordered a green tea, which was lovely, and sourdough toast with butter and marmalade. Everything was really fresh and lovely. If you want to support local businesses, Dela is the epitome of the kind of place we need.

It's a shame I had a bad experience there. I really like the interior and the menu, also, judging by how busy it was, it must be good. unfortunately it took them 40 minutes to serve jam and toast. I totally understand it happens sometimes, especially when they're busy but the staff could have been apologetic at least. I will give it another chance when I am in the area next and will update my review.

Absolutely delicious food using local and seasonal ingredients. Great for veggies but also meat eaters have lots of choice too. The service was brilliant and the atmosphere was just right. Could have stayed all day and carried on eating and drinking but there was a queue for tables and I wanted to give other people the chance to try the Dela delights too!

Amazing place, super friendly, very polite staff. Nice place for a family day out, birthday party. We will definitely come back.

We held my daughters 3rd birthday party at Bubble play cafe. We had 15 children attend, with age ranges from 1-4. The overall experience was excellent. Olivia was great with the planning the event/questions beforehand and the staff on the day were helpful. The soft play space was a good size for the number of children and age range at the party, plus the seating space upstairs was big enough for parents and grandparents to chat/observe the children having fun! The food for the children was good in terms of mix of food and portion size. I particularly liked that the crisps and party ring biscuits were in bowls so you could remove them from the tables when the children were only eating these and not the other yummy food on their plates! The freshly made waffles and ice-cream went down very well! I was also really pleased that the cafe let you bring a birthday cake in from home for free - therefore allowing me to bake a cake in a theme that my daughter would like and to make it extra special for her. All the children had a fab time and many parents have said how great the party was. Would recommend!

Compact but very well designed soft play. Menu is excellent - original if a bit decadent (quite high in sugar). Kids menu is very appropriate though. The fries are yummy but slightly spicy so may not be right for some kids. Do try the bubble tea if you never have - it's great! March 2019 Update, sad and disappointed to say that the current manager is unaware of polite or friendly customer service - but please spare time to compliment the lovely hard working young team around him :-)

The food is really good, especially for waffles and pancakes. They do one of the best bubble tea in Bristol. Is the ideal place for kids, they have a playing area dedicated. Also a selection of food for kids is available. The guys from staff are always nice and welcome everyone who comes in with a smile

Great place for eating when you've a toddler. Soft play is safe and well looked after. Food is good- not many options but tastes great and the coffees and ice creams are sublime! Well done- just what East Street needed!

Wow amazing place we had my 10 year old Daughter Birthday party here . Customers service was out standing And Waffle were amazing so fresh and loaded with Chocolate biscuits and fruit gorgeous ice cream.. Great Selection of hot drinks and really good range of kids drinks. All the kids loved the great selection of American candy What a Selection.

I popped in to Waffle & Bubble to pick up a treat for my Wife. Firstly the place is really stylish and has the look of an American diner with red leather booths. There's a selection of American snacks and sodas available which also add to the feel. The manager was really friendly and attentive and patient while I made my choice. There is a great selection of cakes, ice creams, bubble teas and pancakes but I plumbed for a chocolate loaded waffle. The waffle was made fresh to order and comes in the restaurants own custom printed boxes that they will personalise which was a really nice touch. Needless to say it was really well received and I was even aloud a little taste myself. Absolutely fantastic. Well done Waffle & Bubble and not only will I gladly recommend this place to others but I'll be back again soon !

Ordered online and received a sad excuse for a cookie dough dish. 2 dollops of cold half cooked cookies and an Oreo on top. Not how the photos showed it at all. Phones the restaurant to explain and they said sorry that's just how it is. The spoon is a tea spoon if that helps you understand the size more 😬

Best cookie dough! Although they are small still worth every bite. I normally feel sick with cookie doughs but not this one genuinely the nicest cookie dough I’ve ever had.

Ice-cream was with pieces of ice in it, which means it wasn't stored properly, it wasn't creamy at all but more watery. The taste was weak and a little bit weird. I wouldn't order this ice-cream again. Cake was ok. Baklava was a little bit dry and nut pieces were too big, but anyway it's much better than ice-cream.

We had a breakfast. It was very tasty and fresh. Especially if you like turkish breakfast. Place is cosy and modern looking. Thanks to kind staff.

Good crepes, good coffee, super friendly! Went to bristol for a weekend and came by probably 4/5 times just to get a quick snack and a nice cup of coffee. Grab your stuff, sit on the cascade steps and enjoy the view!

Good crepes but horrible service - actually the worst we've seen during our Bristol visit.

Perfect cup of tea, hits the spot in all the right places. This experience will stay on my mind forever.

Depends on who is there- watch them to judge! Sometimes it's very good and sometimes you get the guy who under-cooks the crepe even though there's no rush (no or short line).

Quick and friendly service, crepes could have cooked longer for more thickness.

The crepes are quick and the crepes are tasty. In summer time, sit on the harbour steps and just let the time go by.

The food was really really poor for the price. Not sure what happened but the turkish eggs (£14 - pictured) were just 2 eggs in yoghurt with less than one slice of possibly the thinnest toast i’ve ever seen 😅 We also ordered the granola bowl which at £9, was just a bowl of plain yoghurt with a small amount of compote and then a dusting of granola that was gone in 2 bites. We are not big eaters but we left hungry. It’s a shame because the setting is lovely and the staff are great!

This a lovely place to have a meal and met friends to chat and update. I liked the ambient and the renovated place preserving the rustic original building. Very clever! Beside the architectural applause... the food is delicious! I loved the extraodinary combination of ingredients. Looks simple, but in the mouth you discover its complexity. My compliments to the chef and kitchen staff!

Sunday roast was delicious if a bit pricey. Our party had the vegan roast and the chicken. Both were delicious with really fresh ingredients. The venue is gorgeous with a trendy ambiance and lots of art. I had an oat matcha latte and they also had local ales and ciders on tap.

Very nice place for a brunch. The food is not too bad, unfortunately the service is very slow. Yesterday wasn’t even that full or busy, and we waited 45 min to order despite asking several time to the staff. Once we’ve ordered the rest of the service was not bad, everything went well.

Fun, creative bar tenders who are happy to create off menu. Cocktails great! … food ok.

Delicious food, excellent drinks, gorgeous location. What's not to like?!

Over-stressed staff. Got blamed for not receiving one of the two meals I ordered. The shorter male staff went - “well im sorry, someone else took it” and stood there staring at me as it was my fault. Then he proceed to give me what I paid for but was not apologetic at all. I understand this can be due to stress but this behaviour is unnecessary and unacceptable.

Each semester the price gets more expensive (which could be due to external factors - although it's already too expensive for student prices), but they are serving less food each time (pizzas are also getting less toppings as well). Wouldn't recommend.

Had a staff member call me ‘stupid’ today which is quite frankly the last straw in a series of terrible service. Multiple times of paying extortionate prices (for a student cafe???) to get my order wrong, taking about 40+ minutes to make food that has already been prepped and just requires assembly, and letting people pay for ordering things that are sold out and just not serving them? Genuinely baffling for a uni catering service.

The food is ok, mainly depends on the day you eat in. But it’s too little, not sufficient to a normal student, just like a snack, but would charge quite more, compared to some other restaurants in other universities. As for the service, not all the staffs are friendly, some can be a bit mean and the cleaner(a old lady) once bothered me, she wanted to collect plates in advance when I’m still eating, it’s really impolite.

despite being part of the university, they charge extortionate prices on the food, fyi, they don't let you eat "outside food" in the cafe, despite it being in senate house? OK.

I like their breakfast toast options. A decent price and lots of choice.

food is okay but quite expensive, would recommend the coffee but that’s probably it
