Hash House A Go Go is a lively chain known for its creative American brunch and dinner dishes, as well as its famous Bloody Marys. The restaurant is renowned for its oversized portions, with menu items like the Andy's Sage Fried Chicken Hash House Farm Benedict making appearances on TV shows.
We came here for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the portions were extraordinary — you definitely get your money’s worth. The staff was super friendly and our service was impressively fast. Antonio took care of us, and he was incredibly nice, courteous, and professional. We truly appreciated his excellent service. We will definitely be coming back!

Wow! Hash House A Go Go…. With a TWIST! Was, in a word, INCREDIBLE! We could eat here every meal! The food was beyond good. The portions are huge, but that’s kinda of their thing. The service was top notch. They even valet your car for free. I can’t say enough about this place, Just go try it for yourself!
Jessica L — Google review
Warning ⚠️ this place serves MASSIVE portions! My husband and I each ordered our own meals here but we easily could have shared one (we each packed half our meals to-go) He went with the Andy's World Famous Sage Fried Chicken. It came out looking exactly like it was pictured in the menu, huge + enticing. He was afraid to order it with Nashville sauce because he thought didn't want his waffles spicy. So he asked to have it dusted with habanero powder with a side of habanero ghost pepper aioli (the way the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich comes). He wasn't disappointed at all, to say the least. He wasn't a huge fan of the Fried leeks on top but he said everything else was delicious. I ordered Andy's Sage Fried Chicken Benedict. What arrived at my table was a mountain of deliciousness! Its a lot of different components, but everything went so well together. And the Chipotle cream really took it to the next level. I ordered a whole else side of it to take with me.
Celina — Google review
I'll start with the positive, it's clean and the mac n cheese starter was delicious! The banana latte was also yummy, I had a shot of Bailey's added to it and it ended up being $14 but def good! We ordered a hangover burger, a bacon cheddar with mashed potatoes burger and fried chicken and eggs. The presentation was great. Our SIL said the hangover burger was 'pretty good', it was a pretty basic burger with an egg so can't really go too wrong there. Our daughter had the other burger and said it was ok but lacked flavor, specifically the mashed potatoes on the burger. I had the chicken and eggs because I really wanted to try the chicken but wasn't paying $28.99 for chicken and waffles. It presented well however I knew as soon as I cut into the chicken it was going to disappoint. Fried chicken is supposed to have crunch, the skin was mushy and the chicken overcooked. They 'drizzle' syrup on the chicken which was expected but even still with a drizzle the chicken should've had crunch. The breading Itself was soggy but I still tried it and was really disappointed. The chicken itself had no flavor and was overcooked and dry. The best part of fried chicken is the flavor and crunch, this dish had neither. The mashed potatoes were ok, heavily salted but had decent flavor. I did order a side of gravy for my biscuit which was actually pretty good so that's a plus. I didn't try the eggs because they were cold when the food was delivered. All in all, for a $100 before tip, we definitely will not be back. It's been on my bucket list for over 2 years now and now that I can say I've tried it... I'm good.
Francine M — Google review
I’m usually pretty picky about my eateries but this place exceed my expectations. WARNING!!!! The portion sizes are gigantic! The drinks were tasty and pretty. We had the chicken and waffles and we added Nashville hot (on the side) I love spice and this stuff was no joke. Yummy food. Fun environment. Awesome waitstaff! Amanda was attentive and kind. Answering all of my questions and going above and beyond to keep us happy.
Gail — Google review
If you like to eat large portions w/ your meal (& if you follow me, you know I do) then this is the place for you! Perfect for families or parties of any size, the decor is so unique - farmhouse meets retro - so cool! And the staff is so accommodating, shout out to Amy who helped me finally decide on the Chicken Benedict (I was NOT disappointed at all, just look at those pictures!) And let me tell you about the S'mores Mocha Latte... they toasted the marshmallows, man! That way, you get a real campfire taste as your drinking this chocolatey, creamy, marshmallowie coffee goodness. I loved coffee before, but now that I'm on this side of the campfire, I really didn't know love... I really didn't know love at all.
Emily H — Google review
The Blueberry lemon waffles are a must try!!! They were they best waffles I’ve ever had! The portions are huge and can easily be shared! The waitress was also super kind and attentive! Would definitely come back!
Caeylee R — Google review
Chill atmosphere. The hostess and waitress were both super nice and accommodating. The portion sizes are super large. Good quality and nice presentation. Get the biscuit bites. I got the solo portion (pictured). They are similar to funnel cakes. Crunchy outside with a soft inside and some powdered brown sugar.

Se7enBites is a modern bakery and eatery located in the heart of The Milk District in Orlando. It's known for its contemporary approach to traditional Southern comfort food. The restaurant gained national attention after being featured on 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.' Customers recommend arriving early as the place tends to get crowded. The menu offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options with a Southern twist, along with an array of delectable sweets and coffee.
This place was an all around great experience. I admit I saw it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and I wanted to give it a try. The food was original and tasty. I would definitely try it again. There was a line outside when I visited on a Sunday at 11:00 am but the line went fast. Make sure to get something from the bakery to take home!

Found this spot from the Netflix show “Somebody Feed Phil” and we had to try it out - boy it didn’t disappoint! Southern style comfort food meets fabulousness❤️🏳️‍🌈 The cold brew coffee was lackluster but that’s my only criticism. The biscuits, fried chicken, tots, and all the breakfast staples were otherwise amazing. Loving the community-style seating and LGBT representation in the decor and the staff working! Check this place out, y’all!!

A great place for a meal. The chicken pot pie was delicious. Great crust and tasty filling. My only issue was I wish the pie was hotter. It was served room temp. The pecan pie was amazing. I was worried it might be too sweet but it was just right with nicely caramelized crust. This place runs like a well oiled machine.
Alexandra B — Google review
The chicken and waffles (Minnie Pearl) was AMAZING, savory with a good balance of sweet, and a perfect pairing! Definitely leans on the heavier side so we had to split it between the 2 of us as to not put us in an automatic food coma afterwards. We also had the pancakes, which were very light and appropriately sweet. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind- although it was packed they would still come by several times to make sure we didnt need anything. Would absolutely come back!
Deborah Y — Google review
Casual, home style restaurant. Lots and lots of unique flavor. Probably the best regular style pancakes around. Really good biscuits and gravy too. I'd go back for sure.

Took hubby here for a Sunday brunch date. We absolutely loved it. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. The place is clean, the food is fresh, and hot to order. Syurp is so delicious I could drink it. Got to see if they sell it. We will be back!
Jonsay241 — Google review
Yes , that’s true . The Chicken Pie is delicious. When you arrive probably you will have to wait in a line outside, but that moves quickly and worth the wait time. The food is is very good , from the pie, lunch menu and bakery. The service is outstanding, professional, kind and very friendly. The price is not cheap but I think is right . I drove almost one hour to get there and worth every single mile .
Ricardo P — Google review
The line was long but worth the hype. Their Southern Breakfast biscuit was savory, flavorful, and unique blend of textures. The biscuit was fluffy, the cheese was stretchy, and the grits were ... gritty. But it all harmonized into an incredibly tasty meal. Their iced coffees were good, too.

Absolutely unreal. 7 of us just had a varied breakfast and everyone cleared there plate up. The service was exceptional aswel as food selection choice. We didn't need to wait for drink refills and the food was delicious. Would recommend to all.

Two of us went hear for an all day breakfast break and we had a nice time. The service, food, ambience are really nice. Food is tasty and they provide decent sizes. If you are in Orlando, I would like to recommend here for an eat out. Thank you.
Anjana S — Google review
We came here a few times to eat on our holiday and each day the service was really friendly and the food was delicious. Great portion sizes. Only areas for improvement would be the toilets - these need to be checked more frequently as they tend to get dirty, and also we were offered filter coffee before ordering but were not told that this was not on the house. Overall I would really recommend this restaurant. Thank you!
Chantal M — Google review
Had an excellent breakfast at First Watch! I’m definitely a Bacon, eggs and grits kind of guy! And yes, I crumble my crispy bacon into my grits! The staff were great, food excellent and the atmosphere was great too! Can’t wait to visit again on our next trip to Orlando!
Johnny C — Google review
We had a volleyball team and their parents and staff helped seat all of us, we did have a reservation. But to get all those people breakfast along with all of the rest of Orlando was an accomplishment. healthy drinks, good food, definitely come back to try more.
Jason G — Google review
Noah was our server and he was so so super nice! my boyfriend and i are at a resort nearby where the breakfast grill was closed for that day, so we had to pick a place to go to fast, lol. Anyways thankyou for the delicious food we ate everything and it didnt leave us with that "ooo were so uncomfortably full" feeling, i feel so great! the kale juice tonic was also so amazing.

Had a great experience at First Watch! The service was excellent—staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The menu is quite large, offering a great variety of breakfast and brunch options. The food tasted fresh and flavorful, with good portion sizes. We ordered : Chickichanga Million Dollar Potatoes Floridian French Toast Coffee The restaurant itself is clean and spacious, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. Definitely a solid choice for breakfast or brunch in Orlando!
LingJ — Google review
I am not someone who usually eats at a chain restaurant when traveling but First Watch is a quality restaurant that certainly never disappoints for breakfast or brunch no matter where you are. This time I got it to go and wanted to shout out how thoughtful the staff was to ensure I had an enjoyable service with my food even though I was not present. I got the biscuit with turkey sausage gravy, which is already a bonus point because most places do not offer non-pork options for a dish like this. You can see with my photo that took the time to put the gravy in a separate container so it didn’t get all messy and over the other food items of the meal (eggs and breakfast potatoes). I also ordered a side of buttered grits. It was a bigger side than I anticipated so I was able to get two breakfast meals out of this order! Highly recommend eating here (to go or on site).

White Wolf Cafe is a charming American eatery located in the artistic Ivanhoe Village of Orlando. The cafe, which was once an antique store, has been a beloved spot for brunch for over 30 years. Its cozy and eclectic atmosphere, adorned with paintings and unique lamps, makes it a popular choice for weekend brunches. The menu features traditional favorites like pancakes and eggs benedict as well as more unique options such as crab cake eggs benedict.
We have been dining here for years and the food never ceases to be pure delight. Recently, we have enjoyed the Crab Cake Benny which is delicious comfort food. The breakfast potatoes are scrumptious with sweet potatoes added in for a delightful surprise and are sautéed with onions and peppers. Yummy. We have had some really good servers who are kind and friendly. One hiccup...our server last time was Sammy and she was not excellent like our other servers. She pretty much seemed like she didn't like her position as server at all. Her lack of kindness put a wee damper on our lunch but the food was still excellent. Absolutely recommend this special place.
Elysium J — Google review
First time here. Really enjoyed our meals. The hangover burger is 10/10 for us. Very comfy, enjoyed the music; wasn’t too loud, could still have conversation. Cute decor, very old school feel. I loved it.
Veronica O — Google review
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts a few days ago. Our server, Amber J, was wonderful. Her descriptions and suggestions made ordering easy. I loved everything, though I have to say the pancakes were my absolute favorite. Best pancakes I’ve ever had, and I’ve had plenty. The atmosphere was fun with all the different kinds of lights hanging to look at. There is probably a story that goes with that, and I intend to ask next time we’re there.
JOAN S — Google review
My first time ever in Orlando and my first stop for a bite to eat was this place. Walking in, I was greeted ever so cheerfully by the Hostess. The background music blasted a vibrant playlist. The ambiance inside provoked an upbeat demeanor. Amber was such a delightful Server. Although, the menu had so much to choose from, I selected the 'Hungry Like The Wolf' entreé. Those grits were made just right, no added salt or pepper necessary. I totally liked it here and will visit again in the future.

First time here and the food was exceptional. Our server was great as well. She recommended the pumpkin cinnamon roll and it was fantastic, literally daydreaming about it as I write this review. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance with soft lighting and music. I’m certainly coming back!

… Hidden gem! I needed a spot to have a late breakfast while I was on a work trip and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Austin was my waiter and I found a nice spot outside where I could make my phone calls and be on my computer while I enjoyed the very hungry breakfast. Which I wasn’t very hungry, but it was all so delicious that I literally ate almost every bite. French toast was awesome, I loved my cheese grits and eggs were made perfectly. My cappuccino was the perfect size… Extra big! I read about their cinnamon rolls, but I didn’t get a chance to have any, so I am definitely going back next time I’m in the area.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed this location! Upon arrival we were greeted by Nash. Nash tied the ambience together with her smile and welcoming character. Then shortly after checking on us we were offered complimentary beignets by Nash as well. Jess was amazing as well! Jess checked on us frequently, we chatted, and made sure we knew if we needed anything, to just holler! Very polite, very knowledgeable, and such a doll. These staff members were the stars of this restaurant ✨️ We will definitely be back! We had the Chicken Cesar Wrap and Raspberry white chocolate pancakes.

We were at REI before and decided to make a stop for brunch. Very positively surprised. We had the jambalaya, chocolate pancakes, Colombian coffee, and chocolate milk. The jambalaya was the highlight of our meal. Having crawfish, shrimp, and sausage there with eggs on top was the protein hit we needed. Super tasty as well. Juan, our server, was super helpful and kind. We’ll definitely come back with a larger group.

Being my first time here, I had the daily lunch special of Shrimp and Grits with the Cream of Broccoli soup. My hubby had the Roast Beef Melt with Fries and Cream of Buffalo Chicken Chowder. The portions were huge! You can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients and not canned or frozen because of how good everything tasted! Definitely a place to come time and time again!

We drive about 45 minutes just to come eat here! GREAT atmosphere, very attentive service, clean and food is always hot and delicious!!! Try their Ranch dressing! It's homemade and is outstanding. Also LOVE their lemon chicken soup! YUM.

Nick's Family Diner is totally off the wall. They rock! The atmosphere is nice, comfortable, relaxing, and a great place to enjoy and awesome food. The service is always awesome. They all take care of you from the time you walk in, sit down, enjoy your meal, and until you leave. They're always smiling and talking to you and making sure you're doing good yourself. The food is off the chart. You can't beat it. Everything they have on the menu from breakfast to dinner and desserts are off the chart. The food is so delicious. Real homemade cooking. This place is always busy and I see why and they deserved to be busy. Anytime if you are in the area near this location, you have to stop by to get some of this Nick's Family Diner to go or dine inside. Keep up the awesome job you're doing. I'll be looking forward to seeing you again soon. God bless you all 🙏🏾💝

My partner and I made the delightful choice to spend quality time with our family in Orlando. Opting for a local and conveniently located spot, we embarked on a memorable outing. Despite a somewhat lengthy wait, the exquisite flavors we savored made every passing minute worthwhile. This establishment exuded a charming homestyle essence, particularly through its delectable cuisine. The country and rustic ambiance added a touch of warmth, especially on a rainy day like today. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional food, attentive service, and the overall fantastic location.

Must visit again when I’m in the area. The coffee alone was soooooo good that I had 3 cups, and I usually only have one! Bryan was an excellent server. All food was outstanding! Zero complaints. They even had blow pops for customers at checkout.

Nice, small restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch all day. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were delicious with just a hint of cinnamon. The decor is very whimsical with little figurines lining the walls and just made it feel like a down home mom and pop restaurant. I would definitely recommend to my friends to go there.

Came here one day for breakfast, because this place has won a lot of awards, I've heard about it for a while, and it was just time to check it out. So we arrive, get seated, and start ogling at the reasons behind the name of the restaurant. Salt and peppers, Everywhere. It's honestly very pleasantly overwhelming. Shelves upon shelves upon shelves on every wall, every pillar, the windowsills, even the front counter. It was very cool. I was a big fan. It certainly made for endless amounts of looking around during the entire meal. Service was really good. There was only one server when we got there upon opening, but she was really efficient. Really friendly. No issues with service. As for the food, it was so good. I can't remember which omelets we got, as they were specials written on the chalkboard, but overall, their omelets were great. A good amount of egg, a good amount of filling, and something nice that not a lot of places do, an accent of what's inside decorated over the top of the whole thing. Very classy. Very delicious. Sides were great, too. Great amount of char on the potatoes, cooked all the way through, seasoned just right. And the hash browns were mega crispy on top, like a super version of Waffle House. Very good. I also got a side of an everything bagel, which was very toasty and very well buttered. Overall, this was a very good breakfast spot. A lot of spots are kind of lackluster nowadays, but this place had a lot of luster! I will definitely be back.

It’s a cozy restaurant close to downtown Orlando. Great place to experience a different atmosphere and try for breakfast. They have a good selection of breakfast meals all very delicious. I tried their eggs with sausages very delicious but too salty. The only downside of it was that the water tasted like tap water with no filtration. Overall it is a good place to try once in a while.

Our first time here. Coffee was smooth. The scramble eggs were cooked perfectly, good sausage patties and my husband liked his bacon. We both had the avocado toast and were thrilled with our choice. We've tried a lot of different avocado toast out there and this was top notch. Chunks of creamy avocado, red onion, goat cheese and kalamata olives. So, so yummy. Can't wait to go back and try lunch

Orlando, FL. So Steve’s mom collected salt and pepper shakers. Anything that reminds him of his mom is a comforting thing, so I knew he’d love this place and boy did he ever. He took pictures galore and sent them to his brother and his high school buddy. They loved the place too. Food was good and plentiful, service genuinely sweet and attentive. Mushrooms were old and decrepit. I took them out of my salad. But everything else was delicious!
Sharon P — Google review
Went here while visiting Orlando. Despite the reviews I read online I found that this food is mediocre at best. Maple bacon glazed pork belly was neither braised or Maple glazed. The pork belly was so chewy I couldn't eat it. The so called glaze was actually Maple season dry spice that was heavy-handed and put on the top of eggs. My English muffin was Burnt. My husband crab and asparagus omlet was ok. The asparagus was not prepared right.

My mom and I decided to eat at this establishment before venturing to Lake Eola for a morning walk. The breakfast at Shakers was fantastic! I had the vegetarian omelet with hashbrowns and a homemade biscuit and my mom had a giant croissant with a side of bacon. I ordered a breakfast sandwich to-go for my son. The staff was friendly and attentive. The plethora of salt and pepper shakers throughout the restaurant adds a nice warm and welcoming touch. I found that the food was reasonably priced and the portions were healthy.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. They sat us quick and service was on point. The food was amazing! They give you a whole bowl of whipped cream for the waffle dishes… and the French toast was ridiculously good.

An excellent breakfast spot! The banana nut caramel stuff French toast was delicious. My wife had a build your own scramble. Everything was hot fresh and delicious! Our waitress did such a great job. Great food, loved the stuffed french toast. Service was rushed and after we were done eating, we were handed a bill right away, without even asking for it. We wanted to sit and enjoy our coffee, but our server Paul was rushing us even though it was not a busy day and then asked us to sign the receipt while the payment was done by debit card and the payment went through without any issues. Therefore a low score for the service by Paul, otherwise everything was good.

What a gem! Christopher C was our server and he was so attentive! He made sure our order was correct and everyone at the restaurant works together to ensure you get your food and coffee. We received great service and attention. The food was great and the coffee was delicious. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. They serve lunch after 10:30 which is great for those folks like my husband who don't eat breakfast. The food was brought out right away (no hot plates just hot food) and everything was tasty! They make sure the food is prepared exactly how you want it. Visit 2: Update- Loved it so much the first time we had to go back and check for consistency. E went to breakfast and immediately were told by our waiters... after making us wait at the table... to give her five minutes. They never gave us water, we were thirsty the whole time. We asked several servers for water and they said they would get our server. Not sure what was going on. The food came out super late and we ordered a bagel, bacon and waffles... and it was cold. Clearly not Great day for us to visit, as other customers were getting great service. Definitely missed Christopher today!

My first time visit and I had a great experience with Christopher (waiter). About the food the BLT sandwich was the best, the Benedict eggs was not fully cooked (super raw). Be careful with the host. Just wait 40min at bench because she was not able to pronounce our name correctly and just more than 5 families passed before. We reported to the manager and she was super attentive with us and the situation.

Briarpatch Restaurant, located on Park Avenue in Winter Park, has been a beloved spot since 1980. It's known for its airy setting and delicious breakfast fare such as waffles, eggs Benedict, and homemade ice cream. While there may be a wait during peak weekend hours, the benedicts and mimosas are worth it according to fervent fans.
Took my sister-in-law for a brunch on a Sunday. It was pretty busy as expected, but the wait was far better than I thought it would be. They have a great system and it was appreciated. I have been here a handful of times and each time, I am pleasantly surprised by the flavors and quality of their dishes. I would recommend a breakfast date during the week though.

Delicious food but some hiccups with service. Would appreciate a more organized seating queue experience. But the delicious food made up for it! Tried the special pork belly and waffles. Super tender pork belly with a well-made waffle, it was so good! Everyone at my table enjoyed the food.

Shout out to Rayna, who took really great care of me! I dont think my coffee every reached below half - thank you, I'm a coffee lover, I think you sensed that! I haven't been here in a while but it looks like they renovated- definitely an improved style. I love the wood floors and clean color pallet... Now to the food, I highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Scramble: the eggs were soft and creamy (cooked just enough - NOT overcooked), the biscuit was light and fluffy (didn't even need butter but I indulged anyway) the home fries are HUGE (crispy on the outside & tender in the middle) - so good! I also had a side of Canadian Bacon - I just HAD to - crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle - worth the indulgence! I can't wait to go back and try more goodies from the menu!

Wow! Can’t believe I’ve been in Orlando for long as I have and only finally just made it to this place - one thing for sure, I’ll be back! Loved the food (I got the southern breakfast and a biscuit to go) while my dining companions got all chocolates bananas pancake stack and a brioche with Brie. We also got a side of potatoes and everything, absolutely everything was delicious. Kudos also to our server Jaylee, who answered my million and one questions and was super good about coming up and checking we were ok quite frequently. The food come out pretty fast, my eggs were perfectly cooked to order, the bacon and grits were heaven, and the batter on my fried green tomatoes was crispy and crunchy. I tasted a bit of the pancake and fantastically fluffy and delicious! The portion sizes are super generous and I had enough left for a breakfast dinner too. Great food and service- I’m already planning to return with my family so they too can get to experience this restaurant!

So first I recommend dining outside, as if you dine inside it can be loud. So my wife and I shared the Truffle Burger and then had the most delicious Carrot Cake. The burger was tasty…. But the carrot cake is out of this world, and hands down the best I’ve ever had. Our server Jaylee, was super friendly and personable and recommended the Carrot Cake. My wife hates raisins, and this had raisins in it. Jaylee was able to effectively put my wife at ease and explained that you won’t even notice that the raisins were there. Jaylee also recommended some other places along the way for food and coffee. Having a server that is knowledgeable about the area and can make solid recommendations for those tourists looking for something off the beaten path, is truly amazing and very appreciated.

The attached photo is of their spinach, feta, and sausage omelette with home fries. The portions here are generous, and the food is delicious. This is a very popular spot in a great location, so be prepared for a lively, bustling atmosphere. Tables are close together, and you may need to speak up to be heard. People waiting in line might be standing nearby, but if that doesn’t bother you, you’ll love it here. I’ll definitely be back, but next time I’ll wait for a table outside to enjoy the experience a bit more.

The COOP is a popular country-chic counter-serve eatery in Winter Park, known for its classic Southern dishes like fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and Mississippi mud pies. It's a neighborhood favorite offering homestyle favorites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The red velvet pancakes were amazing; no syrup needed. The chicken scramble (with pieces of chicken tenders) was very savory. The biscuits and gravy were like none other I had ever tasted. The piece of fried chicken was not greasy and very tasty. The cinnamon roll had great taste but was a little dry, perhaps because it was a corner piece. Joey V says, "Check It Out !"
J V — Google review
I want to start this review out by saying this place is a gem. The chicken is delicious, the mashed potatoes top tier, and the coconut dessert we had was divine. Everything was tasty, but some was nothing to write home about. The fried okra was okay. I love fried okra and make it every special occasion. It was my favorite Sunday staple growing up, and this dish here, while good, was not the best. It came out a little cold and some pieces didn’t have any flavor at all. The macaroni wasn’t anything special. It was edible, but lacked any flavor other than salt. We ordered a couple different sauces to go with our chicken plate. The white sauce is good, but is not traditional. It’s the consistency of ranch. The honey mustard was okay. The chicken and waffles were our favorite out of the two entrees. The sweet waffle and savory chicken paired really well together. I enjoyed putting a little pepper sauce on the chicken to give it a little kick as well. Overall, we will be back and I will edit my review accordingly. We had just got there right before a big rush and that could have honestly been the issue with a lot of my complaints. My biggest one being was that it took nearly 40 minutes to get our food. I don’t care to wait, but it’s disheartening to see people who ordered after you not only get their food, but eat and leave before you even get your meal. Everyone was super friendly and the place is cute.

This was a nice, casual place for a reasonably priced breakfast! I really liked the counter service vibe, it was pretty unique for a place that isn’t fast food. I was there on a Sunday morning at 8am and it wasn’t busy at all. I had the Caramelized French Toast and it was good! My partner had the Chicken & Waffle Benedict and he also liked it! Nothing too rave about, but I would come back.

Great place! First time there. Nice, friendly and accommodating staff. We had a larger group and were able to find one of the unique larger tables to dine at. I tried the catfish and grits with egg, it was really good flavor on the catfish and was perfectly cooked! The pancakes had a great flavor to them, some of the best I've had at a restaurant (bold I know, but true). The egg was perfectly cooked as well. Chicken was super moist and fresh. The biscuit and gravy were just right. All of the dishes were just the perfect amount of food for each dish. Nice unique place and for large or small groups. If you have a few minutes to look around, check out all the cool photos of the show chickens on the walls. Enjoy!
Matt S — Google review
First time going was great. I tried out their chicken fried steak and it was wonderful. The serving size is huge also. The restaurant itself is a mix of old furniture, which my wife fell in love with. The staff is very friendly and we were even given a free desert because we had to wait on a side item without us complaining at all. We will give it another try for sure.
Jason M — Google review
Ok this place is cool looking and has a southern charm theme which it definitely stick to through the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dessert selections are very delicious. The chicken is seasoned to perfection. The problem...? All of the food is seasoned the same way, so the chicken and potatoes and bacon taste the same. I don't want all of my food to taste the same, their should be distinct differences-flavor wise-between bacon and chicken. Also the way you get your food is a bit chaotic because servers have to search for the table you're sitting at. They might as well invest in a PA system and call your number to grab your food. Having a server go table to table asking whether or not you ordered something is annoying for them as well as the person who has to keep getting excited for food that turns out NOT to be theirs. The potential here is great however the execution could use some improvements.
Tiffany M — Google review
I have never been here before, let me tell you...FANTASTIC. The ambiance was perfect and so quaint. It wasn't crazy inside but there was a consistent line. The concept is perfect and a great place for people with big families or have family in town. The food, so fresh and tasty. The fried green tomato grilled cheese, outta sight. The chicken tenders were crispy and juicy. Corn 🍞, top notch. Go and check this place out.

We ordered panini, savory crepe and omelete and all of them are decent and ok. I wouldn't call it wow! Staff were nice as well. Reason for 3 start is quantity vs money. For the $$ we paid, thought quantity was subpar. Portions are too small. Facility did have plenty of parking and no wait at the time of visit. We visited 4.30pm.

We have been here now twice. Both times we have LOVED! everything!! They are very busy but take good care of us every time! The food comes out fresh. The best thing is those huge Madeline’s omg I have never seen them sooo big! We have taken them home every time! And everything from the omelets, to the bakery stuff to the orange juice, everything is fresh and taste like authentic french perfection!! I’m a French food fan! And used to go to croissant gourmet in Winter Park for years but since I moved closer to this location you now have a faithful client with a big family! I will continue coming because it’s been 2 times where we come and leave so happy with our food!!! Ohhh! My favorite thing besides the huge Madelines it’s the fresh baguette with butter!! Omg!! Soooo amazing!! Totally recommend them!!

No pictures sorry! Food was too good we ate it all andforgot to take any pictures 😅 Anyways, beatiful place! We loved the atmosphere and the decor, we were warmly greeted and helped. We had our morning coffee (a regular latte and a French vanilla latte both perfectly made! Thus is one of the very few times where I get my latte with the exact amount of vanilla syrup that I can taste vanilla and some sweetness but not too sweet) The soup of the day "cauliflower based" I loved the creamy texture and the flavor was the best! Most perfect soup for an autumn morning! We also shared a Panini Caprese sandwich (I think I spelled it right) and we loved it, the ingredients were fresh and tasty and the toasting was very successful. You know when you have a thinner bread, rub it with a very light layer of butter or other grease and press it so it's all crunchy. I loved this trip! Definitely coming back here next time we visit Orlando!

Great little cafe/coffee shop on the corner of a small strip mall. This place has counter service to order that was very friendly and courteous. Table service was also prompt and attentive. The cafe has a nice atmosphere with a good bit of indoor and outdoor seating, but can fill quickly. I had the smoked salmon served on a baguette (as recommended by the counter staff). It came with light cream cheese, capers, onions and ample salmon. I thought this was just right - delicious with nice presentation. I also had a Latte, pre-warmed cup (On request), creamy and bold, but not overly strong. Highly recommend.

First impressions are most important to me, I was pleasantly surprised as I entered, a smiling polite lady met me at the door. I was seated promptly, asked what I wanted to drink received my water and coffee in no time flat. A few seconds later, my waitress, Victoria (smiling from ear to ear) appears from seemingly nowhere, asking if I needed a little more time or if I knew what I wanted. The menu had a nice and largely country themed selection, I ordered the country fried steak and eggs, with a biscuit and potatoes on the side, currently waiting while I take in atmosphere and just look around at the southern themed decor. As I sit just looking around like a tourist, I notice the outdoor seating, that is shaded along the front of the building, nice and large tables out there. The table spacing wasn't crowded and the noise level was pleasant. So, more food on the plate then one man should ingest in one sitting, (on a diet? I'm not sure a guy could stick to it here) I just had to finish everything on my plate, lol. Food was amazing, just like mamma use to do, with the notable exception of the red skin potatoes were a little under cooked for my liking and the biscuit, while very large, was a little doughy. Overall, the food was country great, and I'll have to not eat for 2 days to even my diet out. Price was surprisingly inexpensive, $16.50 for all that? Awesome price! Victoria was fantastic very attentive and friendly throughout. Next time within 100 miles of here, I'm definitely coming back for that country fried steak. You gotta stop in at Dixie Belle Cafe if you're in Orlando.

Orlando, FL. It’s shouting distance from Florida Mall. And it’s the cream of the crop of diners in Orlando as far as we’re concerned. The servers are gold. The food is great, the prices are right, but the servers are what makes this diner feel like home. The great American diner isn’t home unless the server is a little sassy, quick but not tense, welcoming, alert but not critical, and reads customers well. They know their menu. They smile if you eat everything on your plate. They don’t look eager to please, but they are happy to be there. They like people. They’re hardworking and goodhearted. They get stuff done. Everything we had was great. The manager on shift suggested we try their famous sweet potato biscuits and she had ours “griddled,” and that upped the wow factor. We’ll be here about two weekends a month.

Well, I’m a Trucker always in a hurry and searching good places across the U.S.A. to eat. This morning I found such a place. I have a thing for real “Biscuits & Gravy”. Searching Google restaurants near me, I saw “Dixie Belle’s Cafe”. Now if that name doesn’t scream good biscuits and gravy! And yes, mission accomplished :-) Sat my “getting older” butt at the bar and started my order. Explained to “Jess” that I was in a hurry, wanted to eat here quickly and have a to-go box ready. Well, she split my B&G up into for-here and to-go. Great place full of regular customers. I found a lil’ gem that I will be visiting every time the wheels stop rolling in Orlando.

Amazing service. The best biscuits and gravy of the area for sure. Thank you so much for everything. Excellent costumer service. I love the mugs. Only one recommendation please poach the Benedict eggs they was fry eggs than it.

Perfect eggs, double toasted bread, crispy French toast. Dh loved his meaty omelette and ate every bite of his 1/4 biscuit with gravy. One open room is pretty basic but at least they played not too loud, good music. About $13 for a big breakfast.

First time visit to this local homegrown establishment that came highly recommended to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the sweet potato biscuits, those came out quickly and warm. We ordered our food but the wait to receive it was almost an hour. We watched the tables around us. Turn several times while we waited. New people came in, ordered eight and left several times. Once our food did arrived we were missing several items. When we mention this to our server she went and got them quickly but it was a very long wait for food to still have to ask for the entire order. Our server was polite. No problem there. It was just a long wait for food. Thank goodness. The three children at our table were incredibly well behaved.

I usually support smaller non franchise establishments however I had a guest in town and was looking for something on the way to the airport. Popped in a got sat right away and our service was great! Enjoyed a great cup of decaf and the refills kept coming without asking. Continuous warm coffee is a way to the soul. The facts are facts those pancakes were insanely good. Plenty of light healthy options too. Enjoy!

I never imagined the food would be as good as it was! We found this place on a google search and the pics were inviting. Our server Miguel was the best. His attitude was above par and so was his service. He made great recommendations for first timers. Our family WILL return when we visit Orlando again!!!!

Coming from Atlanta I have a high expectation for brunch and although this wasn’t ATL brunch it was still fantastic. 10/10 recommend! I got the chicken and waffles (made it a combo), eggs scrambled with white American and ham steak and of course a Bellini. Aaron was extremely polite and his service was top tier. I see why this place is rated 4+.

We just ordered take out for dinner and it was DELICIOUS!! We ordered a lot because we could not make up our minds... pepperoni pizza, chorizo pizza, nashville hot sandwich, breadsticks and Brussell sprout salad (think bacon, feta, balsamic)! The flavors were spectacular and just made me want to try the other items on the menu! Don’t forget the breadsticks and Brussels sprouts when you order.... your mouth will thank you! #makeyourmouthhappy

Found this great place last night when looking for delivery, we ordered the Spinach & Artichoke pizza and the crispy Brussels Sprouts salad. Everything was delicious - great crispy crust on the pizza. The Brussels Sprouts? Yum - goat cheese and BACON - all I can say is next time we have to order the larger shareable size so we don't fight over it. Great addition to dining options. Will keep it at the top of my list for next time.

The cheese flat bread was good. I like it a little brown so I thought it was good, but there were some that were a little over done. I would order again. Now for the 5 stars the flourless chocolate tarte was absolutely amazing. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was for the price. It was better than some desserts I have had at expensive places. Definitely save room for the torte.

IHOP is a well-established chain known for its wide variety of pancakes and classic American breakfast and diner dishes. It's a popular choice for a hearty and affordable breakfast, offering options like sausage and egg meals, as well as an extensive pancake and dessert menu. Customers appreciate the generous portions at reasonable prices, such as the breakfast sampler that includes eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, and pancakes. The staff is often praised for their friendly service despite the busy atmosphere.
I had gluten free strawberry and banana pancakes which were out of this world. My partner had toast, my son had Cinnbun crepe which he loved. Portion sizes are big. Our server was Angela who was lovely, cheerful and very helpful. Music playing in the back ground which was not too loud. You could still hear yourself talking. Great atmosphere. Will definately be back.

We came here as it was recommended to us by friends. The restaurant was quite unclean with multiple messy tables that hadn’t been attended to although it wasn’t busy. Our waitress was really blunt, every time we thanked her (when she gave us our drinks and food) she would just hum in acknowledgement. She only seemed to change her tune when we tipped which was unfortunate. The food was average and we wouldn’t come again. The girl preparing food in the kitchen wasn’t wearing a hair net when we arrived, it was down and not even tied up. This raised alarm bells. The scrambled egg was dry and the hash browns hard. The pancakes were good but didn’t live up to the hype. The music was good in the restaurant and transported us back to 2005 which was nostalgic. Service was quick and the location is good just a shame the food and service wasn’t great.

The food here is quite nice but not amazing, not as good as the last time I came to Orlando 3 years ago! If you are seated fairly close to the restrooms then there is an overwhelming smell of cleaning fluids/toilet blocks! This isn't a one off either as we have experienced this more than once! The server was polite enough and accommodating!

Angie really made my morning after a horrible time at a horrible hotel. My buddy and I went to Halloween horror nights and after a great night, we were starved out because no continental breakfast, we walked to Dennys. After Dennys rudely shoved us off and lacked communication and organization, we had to get nourishment. As soon as we walked in, the hostess wrote our name down and Angie gave us ice cold waters and ushered us to our seats. Amongst the chaos, Angie stayed happy and friendly and was patient and efficient with our quick decisions. She got us everything we needed immediately, and everyone worked hard to get the hot food to the table. Truly the greatest IHOP experience I’ve ever had. I’ll be sure to tell everyone to visit here when they come through. Thanks Angie!

The Boheme is an upscale restaurant located in the luxurious Grand Bohemian Hotel in Downtown Orlando. It offers a refined menu of classic, European-inspired dishes along with specialty cocktails, wine, and beer. On Sundays, guests can enjoy the signature Sunday Jazz Brunch featuring a variety of delectable options such as fresh fruit, tomato & burrata, eggs, bacon, potatoes, prime rib, seafood display and more.
Man the service here was just outstanding. My wife and I arrived 2 minutes before the transition from breakfast to lunch because we had the wrong hours, and they didn't even hesitate to extend breakfast for us. And the food was absolutely phenomenal. If you're in the area, definitely come have breakfast here! It was one of the best granola bowls I've ever had
Saahil P — Google review
The ambiance was sophisticated, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent. The main issue, however, was the quality of the food received for the price paid. The seafood tower (one of the specials of the day) had fresh ingredients and a good amount of oysters, but the quantity of crab meat and shrimp was lacking. The lobster & crab bisque, while flavorful and comforting, had too much heavy cream and was served in a very small bowl. The Boheme is a nice place to enjoy a cocktail and an appetizer, but I don't think the prices for the entrées are worth it. Most patrons seem to dine there ahead of or right after an event at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and I still think it is a good choice out of the few restaurants in the area but with the caveats above.
Alessandra C — Google review
9/23/25: I came back just two days later for dinner again. This time I had the French Onion soup for the appetizer. It has a little bit of maybe an Asiago cheese kind of melted at the bottom of the cup, so make sure to scoop your spoon down the bottom with each bite. I added shrimp to the salmon dish this time. The shrimp are cooked in oil and garlic and then grilled. The quinoa did not taste like cinnamon this time. A little bit of the garlic from the shrimp must have gotten into the quinoa, I thought it made the quinoa taste great! This time, I ate all of the quinoa. The white cream served off to the side of the salmon was a bit more plentiful this time and I appreciated that because I loved dipping each bite of salmon into that cream sauce. For dessert, I chose the caramel gelato. They sprinkle a bit of graham cracker crumbs in the bottom of the ice cream dish, that was a nice treat :) This was sweeter than the cheesecake, but also slightly smaller, so for me, it was the perfect dose of sweetness. I’ll probably be switching between these two going forward. ———————————————————— 9/21/25: Great food! This is only the second time I’ve had dinner here (lunch twice as well), but both times they had a special prix-fixed menu option for $40. I love this menu because you get smaller portions of each dish. It allows me to have so many different flavors in one meal. The little gem Cesar is as you’d expect for a Cesar, so I was happy with that. The salmon had a slight cinnamon taste to it; I think the cinnamon came from the flavor in the quinoa. And that cheesecake was chef’s kiss… delicious. Made with local honey, it had the perfect creamy texture, and extra grahm cracker crust sprinkled around the edges, which I enjoyed. Service was excellent. I had Sophia, she’s so attentive and just a friendly person. It was pretty quiet. Granted I arrived at 9:15pm on a Sunday, but to my surprise two other groups of people arrived about 15 and 30 minutes after me. They close at 10pm, but happily seated each of us. ————- Normal valet is $25, but the restaurant will reduce it to $15.

I definitely recommend their unlimited brunch. However, I recently came here for magical dining and found myself being disappointed by the entrees. Beautiful presentation as always with the food but the quality has been inconsistent. The first time I came for magical dining, everything was phenomenal. Unfortunately this time around the entree’s were mediocre at best. I will recommend their chocolate ganache cake though for dessert! It was my favorite item.

Sophia was a fantastic waitress. She was kind to me and my partner from the start. She accompanied us with all of our needs and was very efficient. The food, especially the prime steak, was the best. I would definitely come here again!

A great lunch in a gorgeous space. Plates beautifully, the burrata and prosciutto started tasted as good as it looked. The steak and truffle fries main was delicious.
Alexandra B — Google review
The Sunday Brunch was absolutely amazing. The brunch included breakfast staples, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, chicken $ waffles. There was an omelet station, prime rib on the carving board. Fresh shucked oysters, shrimp, clam, mussels, Cajun Crab legs, donut & cookie wall, crepes. So much food and they never ran out of any of it. The food was always restocked. All of that with unlimited mamossas! The service was top notch, Haley our server was great. Our glases were never empty and if we needed anything at all she got it. She was amazing. All and all a great experience and I will be back hungry for more! My only suggestion and this goes for all brunch buffets. My wife has a severe shrimp allergy and the tongs used at the seafood section always has cross contamination since everyone will use them to get shrimp, mussels, clams and oysters. She will usually ask for her own tongs to use during the brunch, which by the way the Boheme was more than happy to provide to her. Thank you.

Loved this place! "Charming" is the best way to describe it -- it's nestled in the middle of the neighborhood, and when you walk in, it feels very personable and authentic -- like the owners themselves could come out at any moment! The food was also great, we came for Bite 30 and I had the "Cool as a Cucumber flatbread" and the Applewood smoked pork tenderloin. A true neighborhood gem!

I got a Chicken & Biscuit Bowl with eggs and bacon and it was SOOOO GOOOOD ! I’ll give it 8.5 and that’s because of presentation. The sausage gravy really pulled it all together. I went and requested a table for 5 with no reservations and waited about 20 min. We sat inside and the ac wasn’t pumping enough I must admit. They did have fans on to help with it being too hot.

Kirt and Maxine Earhart, Owners of Maxine’s on Shine Maxine is an angel! Pleasure to meet her. This culinary power couple received as many nominations as anyone on this year’s list, with fans praising them as the kind of small business owners who make a community feel like home. Their restaurant, tucked into a residential neighborhood just east of downtown Orlando, offers sidewalk dining and showcases local artists. Beyond the restaurant, both are active in philanthropic efforts and outspoken advocates for fellow small businesses. To top it all off, their food has earned recognition from the Michelin Guide, with one nominator calling Maxine’s “one of those brilliant local gems that every city should be proud to have.” The food was amazing, and Julie behind the bar made incredible drinks. Now that’s what you call a bartender — top-tier service all around.

I cannot say enough about how fantastic this place is! Came here with a group of six for magical dining on a Friday night. We were sat promptly and had the privilege of sitting in the private dining room, which is a small chapel like room off the main dining area. It is so adorable and well decorated. The staff bent over backwards with kindness! Each staff member was nicer than the next. Our server was Steve And and he was fantastic, gave great menu recommendations, and was very attentive to us! Another standout was Brian, the “Waterboy“ who, despite it being only his fourth day there, was incredibly professional And attentive! The food was phenomenal, we did not have anything we did not absolutely love! We had the best time, and ended up spending well over 2 hours just hanging out! The pace of the meal was relaxed and not rushed at all! There are so many great menu items, we will definitely be back!

Such a cute spot! It’s a 50’s vibe, covered in a red, black, and white color scheme. Your receipt is handed to you in a paperback book. Some of the cocktail glasses are a mason jar attached to a stem. The staff is just a bunch of friendly people. The hostess was dressed with style. I arrived right at 5pm so I was able to snag a single seat at the bar even though they were full booked for the evening. I got the lobster roll. It’s the kind that’s mixed with a bit of mayonnaise rather than with warm butter. It came with fries and coleslaw, so it is a full meal.

Went with my mother in law to visit this restaurant for the first time during magical dining. I checked it out online prior to get a feel for where we were going and what the parking situation would be like. Parked on Shine just after turning onto the street and walked maybe a block or so to get to the restaurant. Not far at all. Our food choices were tasty, the staff was nice, the vibe and decor was eclectic. Chill, laid back. We reserved seating at the bar which was ready for us when we arrived. My only comment would be that it was very warm inside. I run pretty hot as it is, so my "comfort level" is to be in a cool space. I was a bit warm and sweaty throughout the dinner. They did have some oscillating floor fans placed throughout the interior that helped a little. At the end of the night one of the owners even came over to say hello and welcomed us for stopping in. Very kind 😊 Will be back when the weather cools down so we can try the outdoor dining experience next time 😉

A few notes if you go; Decor is a little dated with old stained padded seats and tables that rock a little bit. You have to speak up to get refills. Food is very basic, pancakes are just average hotcakes, bacon a little burnt but still good, home fries were probably my favorite. In an area starved for mom and pop restaurants this probably qualifies for a hidden little gem. If you’re used to an abundance of such places, you’ll probably find your experience very subpar.

I’ve stopped in here twice and both times were good. Standard diner type food, decent prices, good service. Both times I’ve gotten omelets and they were delicious. The toast is really good as well, it’s very thick and filling. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Wow. Where do I even start? The server at Sweet Mama’s must’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed, because the attitude was unbelievable. Rude doesn’t even begin to cover it. And the manager? Somehow managed to be even worse. You’d think a place charging those prices could at least serve up a little kindness with their food — but nope. The food itself? Overhyped and underwhelming. Definitely not worth the money or the eye-rolls. And when we mentioned someone in our group had a deadly gluten allergy, they acted like it was an inconvenience instead of a serious health issue. Super professional, right? Oh, and they were rude to the kids too. Because apparently “family-friendly” just means we tolerate you until you ask for anything. Honestly, I’d rather eat a frozen dinner at home than deal with that nonsense again. Hard pass.

Sweet Mama's was a great breakfast dinner. Veronica was our waitress and she did a great job! She was very attentive to our large group for breakfast and made sure we had our coffee's filled and all our needs were met. All of the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Great breakfast spot for an outing with the family!
Nicole R — Google review
If I could give zero stars, I would. From the moment we walked in, the vibe screamed “we don’t want you here.” The server looked like smiling was against company policy — rude, dismissive, and just flat-out uninterested. I’ve gotten more warmth from a self-checkout machine. Now, onto the real kicker — someone in our group has a serious gluten allergy, like the kind that’s not optional. When we politely mentioned it, you’d think we just asked them to rebuild the restaurant from scratch. The server rolled their eyes, and the manager? Oh, they came over just to make it worse. Not a hint of concern, just pure attitude. Apparently, caring about someone’s life-threatening allergy is too much to ask. Classy. The food? Let’s just say it didn’t exactly save the day. For the prices they charge, you’d expect something at least edible and maybe a smile with it — but nope. The food was bland, overcooked, and tasted like someone gave up halfway through making it. I’ve had better meals at gas stations. And don’t even get me started on how they treated the kids. If you advertise yourself as “family-friendly,” maybe try not acting like children are some kind of disturbance. Every time one of them laughed or talked, the staff gave that look — you know, the “ugh, why are you here” look. Real welcoming. Between the rude staff, the eye-rolling manager, the overpriced food, and the complete disregard for allergies, Sweet Mama’s was a full-on disappointment. The only “sweet” thing about this place was finally leaving.

We worked with Ely to make the cake of our dreams for our wedding!!! I gave her some inspo pics and my vision, then told her to have creative freedom and look at the stunning masterpiece she came up with! I was getting my wedding photos taken while the cake was being delivered and I was so excited about the cake, I wasn’t paying attention to the photographer. 😂 The cake itself was rich, dense, flavorful and delicious. We got the almond cake with apricot filling and it was so decadent. The frosting was perfectly light and not overpowering either. The process to order was easy and Ely made sure to communicate all deadlines and helped us work around guests with allergies. This entire process was the easiest part of planning the wedding. I want to have another wedding just to order another cake from Ely.♥️

Truly an experience for all the senses. Stopped in for brunch after church on Sunday and from the minute we walked in, our eyes took in the beautiful esthetic of the dining area, food presentation, cafe and little gift shop. Smell of fresh coffee and bakery items got the juices going while we waited to be seated. We got seated within 15 minutes, service was efficient, friendly and at a good pace from start to finish. We tried bunch of items from brunch menu. Only little complaints; eggs overcooked on the shakshuka and mac & cheese too cold and little flavor but otherwise, testy meal with good portions and of course the breads stole the show. We took bunch of sweets home to try with extended family and there's no doubt this is an amazing bakery and we will come back for sure!

We sat outside as they have a very nice outdoor seating area. The only thing was that the tables were pretty dirty. I used to wipe to wipe down the table. We sat at and it was pretty dirty. I know it’s an outside table, but after being cleaned after each use, I would think it would be more clean. The food was amazing! If you want a wonderful dessert, this is definitely the place to go! I will absolutely be back to explore the desert menu and coffee menu further!

These were delicious and I look forward to returning here yet again! Roma took care of us at our table and she was so kind and attentive. Always had a smile on her face, too. She was a pleasure to talk to along with all those who work at the Glass Knife! Thank you!

Perfect place for lunch with the girls or a special significant other. Fancier than expected. I expected it to be a Panera-style grab-n- go bakery and Cafe, but was pleasantly surprised by the service and sit down atmosphere. It's a very cute updated boutique kind of Cafe. Food is serviced to your table with free water (I would have tipped better had I known I wasn't going to stand around & grab my own food). I ordered a meal with a dessert for dine-in and a dessert to-go. The roasted turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll was good quality ingredients and came with homemade pickles for what I would consider a fair price ($17). The baked goods I felt were pricier for what they were. The homemade oatmeal cream pie ($7) was delicious. The Arnold Palmer ($4) was mostly watery lemonade. The Peach Bellini pastry, a big part of why I stopped here, is where things went off the deep end. It was beautiful and artsy and unique. Unfortunately, the wide variety of textures and flavors were extremely odd and confusing to my palate (the goo inside with puree mint was the most flavorful part and yet it added to the flavor confusion). Not disgusting but definitely not something I would order again, especially at $13.

Amazing place for pastries, coffee, and sweets. The brunch is satisfying but not nearly as exceptional as the donuts, cakes, macarons, and everything else! Genuinely innovative and fun with fantastic art déco atmosphère that's blends seamlessly. Lia made wonderful coffees and Aura was a bright and fun waitress!

I stopped by The Glass Knife in Winter Park and had the Lavender Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. Let me just say, it was amazing. The flavors blended perfectly, smooth and comforting with just the right touch of sweetness. The atmosphere was calm and beautiful, the kind of place where you can slow down and really enjoy the moment.

Great breakfast spot! Went on a Sunday morning. The service was fantastic and we waited about 20 minutes for a party of 2 but come early as it’s a very popular spot. Plenty of parking, not hard to find a spot. The food was flavorful and exactly what I was craving. The portions were just right we left stuffed. Would definitely visit again!

I was greeted when I walked in. I was sat down. I didnt have to wait long before my order was taken. My food came out hot and fresh. My entire soul was happy with my meal. The sauce was so good that I wanted to take some home but I wasn't checking a bag for my flight. Everyone was super friendly. I cant wait to go back to Orlando just so that I can get some breakfast.

The restaurant allowed our dog on the patio. 3 amazing staff members checked on him and offered, then brought him water. 🩵 Our server Casi is fantastic and appropriately attentive. My coffee mug was always filled, and we all had water. My boys (17 and 14) each enjoyed a tasty entree. Chicken and waffles for the win for my 14 year old! He really enjoyed the savory berry butter and Cajun syrup on his waffles. My 17 year old said the grits with his western omelet were perfectly salty enough and creamy, too! Both of our biscuits were a lovely combination of crispy on the outside and fluffy and warm on the inside. The healthy start omelet needed a bit more texture with the turkey inside. I would prefer to cut the turkey than have it shredded. But, that's my preference. I did add salt to the omelet, but I appreciate it being healthy and didn't mind adding salt. I signed up for emails the night before, and we received a complimentary 1/2 order of apple fritters. They were delicious. We all really liked the mildly sweet yogurt that accompanied the fritters as a dipping sauce. Again, our server CASI is a gem💎!!! She is a wonderful server. She is friendly with a pretty smile. Give that gal a raise, please!!!

Traditional American restaurant
Canvas Restaurant & Market is a trendy spot in Orlando's Laureate Park, offering Latin-inspired Southern cuisine and a home goods store. The restaurant boasts a modern, industrial ambiance with a stained-glass greenhouse at the entrance. Its menu features diverse flavors from Latin America, New Orleans, and the South. Guests can also explore the market offering breakfast and lunch items, housewares, and local goods.
What a great location for a restaurant, right of the water in a nice walkable community. The atmosphere is open with a lot of natural light. I would recommend this place for a social dinner or date. Our appetizers were great, the main dishes were plated nicely and taste as good as they looked. The service was good. I look forward to visiting again.
Brandon B — Google review
Our family recently visited Canvas Restaurant & Market in Lake Nona, and while there were definitely some highlights, the overall experience left me with mixed feelings. The atmosphere and setting were the strongest part of our visit, but unfortunately, the service and food execution didn’t quite measure up to the expectations we had coming in. Starting with the positives, the location is stunning. Canvas sits right on the lake, and the outdoor covered patio provides one of the most beautiful dining backdrops in the Lake Nona area. It’s peaceful, scenic, and truly one of the best spots in Orlando to sit and relax while enjoying a meal. The vibe of the restaurant is modern yet warm, and it’s the kind of place you could easily bring family, friends, or even clients to impress them with the atmosphere alone. Now onto the food and service, where things got a little more uneven. Service was noticeably slow from the very beginning. Our drinks took longer than expected to arrive, and throughout the meal our server did not refill drinks without being asked. Dirty plates sat at our table for longer than they should have, which made the experience feel a bit less polished, especially given the caliber of restaurant Canvas presents itself to be. As for the food itself, there were some standouts but also several disappointments. We started with the Nutella donuts as an appetizer, and while they were absolutely delicious, warm, soft, and full of flavor, it took nearly 25 minutes for them to arrive at the table. For something labeled as a starter, that kind of delay really slowed down the meal. The main entrées brought more inconsistency. I tried the Crab Eggs Benedict, which had wonderful flavor overall, but the execution fell short. A key part of any Benedict is the runny yolk, and unfortunately the eggs were cooked through and lacked that creamy texture that makes the dish special. The Mojo Pork Benedict suffered from the same issue, the flavor of the pork was great, but the eggs were again overcooked, which made the dish less enjoyable. Other items ordered at the table included the Biscuits and Gravy, which were decent but somewhat dry. There was too much biscuit compared to the amount of gravy, making the dish feel unbalanced. The kids’ pancake and sausage plate was fine, nothing particularly memorable, but certainly acceptable for a children’s menu option. The fresh fruit on the side, however, was a bit aged and not as vibrant or fresh as you’d hope for at brunch. To sum it up: Canvas has incredible potential. The setting is unmatched, and some of the flavors show real promise. However, the slow service, lack of attention to detail, and inconsistent food execution really stood out on our visit. With quicker, more attentive service and more care in the kitchen to get the small things right (like properly runny poached eggs), Canvas could easily become a top brunch destination in Orlando. For now, I’d recommend going more for the atmosphere than the food, but I hope to see improvements on my next visit.

Decided to try a new place for brunch today! We were definitely satisfied. Our server Liz was super attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Got a visit from the manager, Heather, who was also very friendly and welcoming. The food was sooooooo good. I got the calamari to start and the crab cake Benedict and man oh man, I know I should have stopped but I just couldn't. My husband got the loaded potatoes to start and the Cuban sandwich. Everything was absolutely amazing. Our drinks were 10/10. He got his classic old fashioned and said it was one of the best he's ever had. I got the Nona Sunrise and was very pleased with the well balanced flavors. And of course, sitting by that beautiful lake just tied everything into a pretty little bow for sure. Will 100% be going back!

This is one of your usual fairly overpriced restaurants in the up and coming area or Orlando, lake Nona. Filled with industrial vibe decor, the food offerings are quite lacking in quality. Chicken sandwich was probably the tastiest thing of the 5 things we ordered. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. Beer battered cod was beyond disappointing, with only a tiny tiny piece of fish encrusted into a huge amount of deep fried batter, which was crunchy, but that was about its only merit. Our waiter was attentive and provided good service. We got to the restaurant between lunch and dinner, so they really weren’t busy at all. We asked to be seated in one of the rooms facing the lake (with a view) and were told that we couldn’t sit there because there were parties booked there that were supposed to start at 4 pm. No one showed by for those “parties” at 4 or even 5 pm. We were disappointed to not get the nice view, but it sounded like they just wanted to bunch people in one room to make it easier tor serving. Overall, not a super memorable or great experience and I wouldn’t really recommend this restaurant.

Service was deficient. We had to ask for everything and were never asked if food was good etc, and ir wasn’t. French toasts were DRY and hard, horrible. Strawberry jam had lemon extract and ruined the taste. Benedicts were good in flavor but overcooked and not runny. We ordered a drink na dit was drenched in sugar, undrinkable. Coffee ordered an espresso and was drip watery coffee. Very disappointed!

The food was expensive but meh. In my opinion foe the price the food should have been better. Sitting on the lake was amazing, even in the downpour lightening storm. The service was interesting because we had 3 different people deliver us the food - I hope the tips are shared.

Father's Day brunch and first time eating here. Atmosphere great and located next to a lake. Great views. Good thing we had reservations. This restaurant tends to be very popular, and without reservations, who knows how long the wait is. We seated by lake view, and we were greeted by our server, Matias. He was very friendly and attentive. We ended up ordering the calamari and yuka fries for appetizers. The calamari was cooked perfectly, not rubbery or undercooked. Great flavor and well-seasoned. The yuka fries were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. It came with an avocado aoli dipping sauce. Very good. Our main courses were biscuits and gravy that came with sunny side eggs and the breakfast deck plate (as I can recall). The biscuits were not traditional in the sense they were square and more like bread. Crispy on the outside and light on the inside. Can definitely taste buttermilk. And the gravy was good, not too salty, and actually had pieces of sausage in it. This came with potatoes (light and crispy, seasoned well). The breakfast plate had scrambled eggs, potatoes, english muffins, and your choice of bacon, pork, or turkey sausage. I went with the turkey sausage. Everything was good. Eggs were not overcooked. Same potatoes as the other plate. The english muffins were lightly toasted, and the turkey sausages were tasty. No jelly or butter or condiments provided, UNLESS you ask for them. For dessert, we got a coconut sundae with mango and toasted coconut and bread pudding. Both were delicious. The only issue was they took a long time to be served, but Matias explained the delay and apologized and let us know that because of the long delay, we were not being charged for them. Hence, the issue was resolved. It was a great dining experience, and I highly recommend eating here. We will definitely come back.

Café Tu Tu Tango is a vibrant and eclectic tapas spot located on International Drive in Orlando. The restaurant exudes the ambiance of a Spanish artist's loft, adorned with original paintings by local artists that are available for purchase.
This little hideaway is amazing! You can unintentionally spend hours here eating the delicious food, talking to artists, getting your cards read, watching the belly dancer. We came in for the first time and were surprised at how delicious everything was. The Brussels sprouts *chef’s kiss* Even though there is a lot of decor, it doesn’t feel overwhelming or crowded. We got the all you can eat - which included nearly everything on the menu- and it was worth the $35 each. We tried so many yummy things. The portion sides are small, but good for sharing if you’re going to try it all.

Excellent tapas! We recommend the steak skewers, butter chicken tikka, chilled spinach dip, and the croquettes. Our cocktails were so good too! Our waitress, Reina took great care of us! Very kind and professional! 5 stars!!

I love it here. First time and I was extremely impressed and overjoyed with the beautiful artistic atmosphere, food, and service. The food was so delicious. Since it's a tapas restaurant, we ordered about 4-5 shareable plates and it was all worth it. My top favorite selection was the Cajun Chicken Egg Rolls. Our server was the sweetest, loved her and her hospitality. The art on the walls and all over the restaurant were stunning. The whole vibe of this place captured my heart. I will visit this place every time I come back to Orlando, no questions asked.

Sat in the bar area. Service was good. It was a relatively quiet evening. Can’t wait to return for brunch or when the artist is doing live canvas work. The tzatziki was SO good & refreshing. I preferred it with the warm bread but the crackers were good too & they refilled them for us. The mushroom tacos were better than expected. The sauces pair perfectly with how the mushrooms are seasoned & the tortillas perfectly held all ingredients in the taco. The street corn wasn’t roasted first like at most places but it still hit the spot! The alligator bites had really good flavor but they are extremely chewy so I wasn’t able to finish them all because I was tired of the texture. Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone interested.

I came up to this amazing artsy spot for brunch and it was everything I hoped for! The tapas-style dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The atmosphere was eclectic and Instagram-worthy, with a super cool vibe. Yellow Dog Eats is a popular American eatery located just outside of Orlando, with a laid-back and colorful setting that includes a patio. The restaurant has an eclectic and hippie vibe, complete with roaming chickens and unique decor like a VW bus in the outdoor dining area. Known for its unique BBQ sandwiches, such as The Rufus, which features pulled pork topped with Brie cheese, cherry pepper rings, and raspberry melba.
This was our first time at Yellow Dog Eats and it definitely lived up to the hype! The vibe is funky and fun, the staff were super friendly, and the food was packed with flavor. Loved the quirky old building and laid-back atmosphere. We’ll be back next time we’re on this side of town!

The whole family including our little dog Kona absolutely loved this restaurant! The pulled pork is phenomenal as well as the peanut butter brownie. They have free dog treats as well as a little $4 chicken bowl for dogs. The staff was incredibly friendly and it felt like going to a backyard barbecue at a fellow dog lovers house. They had a great looking bar as well but I didn't get to try it. I will be back (as often as possible) and would definitely recommend it to both my two and four legged friends 😁

If you are looking for a dining experience overflowing with character, creativity, and genuinely fantastic food, look no further than Yellow Dog Eats. Tucked away in Gotha, this place is less a restaurant and more a destination, nailing every essential element: atmosphere, service, and, most importantly, the eats and drinks. The moment you walk in , you're immersed in a vibe that is instantly warm, quirky, and laid-back. Housed in a charming, historic cottage, the atmosphere is pure Americana meets funky artist loft. From the colorful, covered outdoor patio--often hosting live music and sometimes even a few wandering chickens--to the interior walls covered in dog photos and customer signatures, the entire space feels loved, lived-in, and full of heart. It's the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, memorable meal. Despite the bustling, counter-service format, the customer service here is genuinely awesome. The staff is consistently friendly, patient, and welcoming, making every patron feel like a long-lost friend. Orders are handled efficiently, and you're lucky you might run into the owner, "Fish" Morgan... The food at Yellow Dog Eats is the true star. They take classic comfort foods, especially BBQ and sandwiches, and transform them into gourmet, flavor-packed masterpieces. They pride themselves on house-smoked meats and locally sourced ingredients. Must-try items include any of the signature pulled pork sandwiches, like theRufus or the Florida Cracker....Every dish strikes a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and smoky flavors, ensuring a delightful complexity that will keep us coming back. Lastly Yellow Dog Eats is a truly unique establishment that successfully merges phenomenal food with an unforgettable environment and stellar hospitality. It's a place that doesn't just feed you; it gives you an experience.

The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, with a laid-back vibe that makes it perfect whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or hanging out with friends.

Found this place and came to try it out. Ordered a regular pulled pork sandwich and a Cuban sandwich. Waited a decent amount of time and got the food. The portions were fine, maybe a bit smaller for the price we paid. But I was disappointed. The menu says “home made kettle cooked chips” and it was actually just a bag of Miss Vickie’s. My sandwich was practically cold. Went to get it replaced and they said it’s not meant to be “hot”. It was barely warm. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a bbq restaurant where the food wasn’t meant to be hot. They were nice enough to replace the sandwich though. The vibes were nice tho.

I took my daughter in her cousins here for her 16th birthday brunch (party of 7). We were the first people there and we did decide to sit outside on the patio. We still got the same attentive service even though we were the only people outside. Our waitress was awesome. When we first arrived the manager offered to take a picture of us all together. They had very good customer service. The manager was awesome. He gave us a discount for one of the plates coming out late. We enjoyed trying the Sugar Factory 🔵 🔴🟡🟢🟣 in Orlando. The tasting of the food was decent but the visual of the food was excellent. We enjoyed the signature rainbow sliders and the insane & tasty milkshakes! Our service was top tier, Lauren, was fantastic and really made our visit memorable. She was nice and kind of enough to find a duck that I really wanted that comes with the rainbow sliders. 🌈 One of the employees told us they were out but Lauren was determined to find one for us and she did. I am grateful she was our waitress. We overall enjoyed our time here and would recommend people to come here. I gave a 4 star due to how outdated this place is.

A variety of music, I sat at the Bar with Cat who was absolutely AMAZING! friendly, and helped me with suggestions! I got one of the goblets and the sliders! So fun! Matthew the manager stopped by to make sure everything was great and I was enjoying myself and I asked who made the food cause it was adorable and got to shake chef Franks hand! The chef or cook or Someone from the kitchen staff came out and did full wipe down and cleaned off our table again when we sat down to make sure there was no issues with shellfish Wow just wow. Then we were greeted by Jay our server , she was absolutely wonderful , her bubbly wonderful attitude was stupendously great . She put the Serve in service ! FYI manager did take care of us for the inconvenience, and here are some pictures of our meals...

The food and drinks were good, but extremely overpriced. While they have a “fun atmosphere,“ the place was so loud we could not hear anyone at our table talking even when we shouted at each other. Highball & Harvest is a dining spot located at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, offering innovative Southern cuisine and cocktails in a cozy setting. The restaurant takes pride in its 7,000-square foot garden where fresh produce is cultivated for their dishes. From pecan pie pancakes for breakfast to pimento grilled cheese for lunch and modern twists on Southern classics like shrimp and grits for dinner, the menu showcases the best of Southern flavors.
I had dinner first, then returned the next day for lunch. I had shrimp and grits, the house specialty. Amazing. The next day I had their award-winning pimento cheese and bacon burger with sweet/spicy pickles. The menu is Southern-inspired cuisine. Service was impeccable. The restaurant is, after all, inside a Ritz-Carlton. Big tables with plenty of seating space. Leather chairs for lounging or more formal seating for larger groups. I appreciated the various seating configurations to accommodate a party of 1 or 100. Patio seating as well. Morgan was my server at dinner; she was amazing...took great care of me, very intuitive. And, the next day at lunch a manager named Manny made sure I had a seat with an outlet next to a window so I could eat and work without interruption. Excellent service.

After an incredible and delicious experience at Knife and Spoon, fresh bites from the pool, in room dining etc, it’s clear all the foods on grounds is TOP NOTCH, and Highball & Harvest did not disappoint. The Market Fish was a tender large generous sized filet, the Brussels sprouts were fresh! Leave room for the donuts and chocolate cake at the end!

Had a good dining experience at this restaurant located inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel. This was the second time I have been here. The last time was for dinner. This time I went for lunch and had the double cheeseburger and fries. The fries were crispy, delicious and fried to perfection. The burger was definitely made from high-quality beef and it was really good. It also was topped with delicious bacon. I absolutely love the housemate pickles that they have!!!! I could literally eat them just by themselves. They do have a full bar. Of course with this being this is the Ritz, prices are a little higher. The burger was $26. A charcuterie board is $29. Most of specialty drinks are in between $16 and $19. The service was really good. The place was immaculately clean and they also have pool tables and other games for entertainment. I recommend and will return.

We had the fried chicken, the red snapper and the pork chop. The pork chop was less than average and came with a weird pumpkin side dish. The fried chicken was very good, but would have preferred less chicken and a small side of mac-n-cheese or a veggie, like collard greens. The red snapper was good. The service is pretty good and there is a decent selection of wines and sizes of wines…6 oz, 9 oz, 18 oz and bottle. The food menu is very very limited and overpriced for what you get, but this is the Ritz Carlton, so I guess that is to be expected.

After looking over VisitOrlando's Magical Dining restaurants, we decided on Highball and Harvest. The choice definitely paid off. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and well cared for by the team. Our service was top notch, as well as the beverages and dining experience. The Southern Fried chicken was delicious, but had a surprisingly citrus profile that I did inquire if it was the same for the breakfast menu, as I would question if that would work as well alongside waffles. We did learn that the recipe has undergone a few changes recently. Again, cooked to perfection, just a flavor profile you would not expect from Southern Fried. The Housemade chili sauce was also delicious. I promise, you want to ask for a bottle to go. We did order a side of Crab mac-&-cheese. While it was delicious, I did prefer the rich and creamy regular version that accompanied the chicken. Again, 5 out of 5, that is just personal preference. While we were brought to H&H by Magical Dining, we will definitely return. From start to finish our experience was perfect.

We loved our dinner celebrating my grandmother’s birthday last week. The magical dining experience was wonderful for trying the different menu items- the southern spread, lamb shank, and crème brûlée were delicious. Our server was amazing.

Waffle House is a popular American diner chain known for its all-day breakfast and signature waffles. Visitors often enjoy the generous portions, such as the large chocolate chip waffles that can be saved for later. The menu also includes savory options like bacon and beef melts with hash browns, recommended by friendly staff. Many patrons appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and great service at various locations, making it a must-visit spot when in Florida.
I happened to visit this restaurant on my honeymoon 25 years ago. I remembered the friendly and welcoming service from the staff and the delicious food, so I decided to visit again after such a long time. My memories were not betrayed, and I was able to enjoy delicious food and meet nice staff again this time, which made my trip even more wonderful. If I ever visit Orlando again, I will definitely come to this restaurant to eat.

Do not come to this location. Pack it up and drive to any other Waffle House for better food and service. The staff is beyond RUDE! The food is HORRIBLE! Seriously- Waffle House is known for being cheap, easy, and delicious- but this location is enough to never go back. Don't get me started on this bacon, let the picture speak for itself! I wouldn't feed that to my dog! 0/10. The one lady- possibly a manager? She’s running a strict program! No Waiting Inside!! She’ll make you stand outside in the 100° Florida Sun until a table becomes available, and that table will be dirty, and they’ll give you dirty silverware too! They couldn’t give two craps about their customer service or food quality. Dirty, disgusting, and should be closed down.

☕ A breakfast experience worth repeating! I visited the breakfast restaurant and the waffles were something else! 🍯 Crispy, soft, and irresistibly delicious 😋 And the coffee? Exceptional in its aroma and rich flavor ☕✨ The reception was wonderful, and the service was quick despite the crowds — a testament to their excellence and the quality of their dishes 👌 The place is truly worth trying… and I will definitely be back! 🤍

When we went is was fault busy with all the booths occupied . Had to sit at the counter. Not an issue. Staff seemed friendly and courteous. But a bit over worked as we never got a revisit to ask if we were good. Food was quick to serve hot and freshly cooked. Prices are good value compared to Ihop or Denny's

All the staff were kind and courteous, but Patrice was above and beyond she was kind courteous, kind and personable. Gave us the entire menu rundown when she heard it was our first time. Food was amazing as well. Not to mention they had a awesome music selection to restore you on a Sunday morning 🙌

Mrs. Potato Restaurant is a Brazilian-American fusion eatery located in the Kirkman Oaks Shopping Center, just a short drive from Universal Orlando Resort. This unique restaurant gained fame after being featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives for its specialty in rosti potatoes, a Swiss-style hashbrown pie filled with various options like bacon, cheese, or chili. Owned by Rafaela from Brazil, the restaurant was inspired by her nostalgia for potato houses back home.
This place was a 10/10. The team that works there is amazing. They were friendly and attentive even though they were busy. The food was next level! We got the truffle fries, carne seca pastel, loaded rosti, and the gnocchi with the truffle sauce and steak. Everything EVERYTHING was delicious. I’m going to dream about the gnocchi and steak it was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Sophia B — Google review
The food was good, but definitely not worth $30 per person. The appetizer alone was $13 for just five small mashed potato balls. Tasty, yes—but not worth the price. The signature potato dish was basically a stuffed hash brown, yet with tax the dish came to about $30. We had expected more of a casual diner, but the prices were closer to what you’d find at a upper level dining restaurant. While it was a new experience and I did enjoy trying it, the food itself was mediocre, and we all agreed we wouldn’t go back.
A G — Google review
Very unique place. Portions are huge. The salad is a nice side to pair with the heavy potato. Staff were very nice and the outdoor seating is covered so the sun wasn't an issue. Definitely try the truffle fries

Absolutely amazing little hole in the wall My first time at a non-steakhouse Brazilian restaurant and it hit every button. The server was courteous and explained the dishes. I went with the rosti stuffed with shrimp and cheese. For an appetizer I recommend the cheese balls. They were crisp and light and oozed melted mozzarella. Everything was obviously fresh, prepared perfectly and an eye-opener to someone not familiar with the cuisine. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
Stephanie H — Google review
I have never had Brazilian foods before, except Brazilian grill. Our server was nice and informative—she helped explain each dish patiently and recommended foods for us. We ordered several dishes so we could try. Each is not too big and we enjoyed the foods. Although the main ingredient is potato, I didn’t feel bored with the foods we ordered. I would recommend this place for anybody who wants to try something new

Let’s begin with the service. It was horrible. The server and the manager were both blatantly biased towards African-Americans. They clearly treated the Caucasian Americans in the restaurant extremely courteous now the food did not come out as it was supposed to, but nonetheless, it was still good. Could’ve been better, but the restaurant is not set up for in casual dining. Its small cramped personally I would recommend to go somewhere else.

Best spicy tuna roll I’ve ever had. Idk what it was about the flavor but it had a Smokey flavor that I really liked. Plus they weren’t stingy at all with how much tuna went into the roll. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming too. Definitely a new favorite spot for a cozy, satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

We come here for breakfast a couple times a year, and eat before browsing through the Farmers Market, which is only 50 yards away. The staff is always friendly, and the place is always immaculately clean. The clocks on the wall are creative works of art and fun to watch. My date had the egg sandwich, sunny-side up, and I went with a create-your-own omelette, with a side of rye toast. All good, although the rye bread needs an upgrade. Will continue to come back when we visit the area.

Food is yummy and well-priced!! Easy to stay around $10-15/per person for a SOLID breakfast. Home fries were extra crispy!! The pancakes were pretty average. The vibes are great, feels homey. Service was quick & staff were so friendly. A great local & long-standing place to check out!

We visited Dixie Cream Café on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a charming spot with a welcoming atmosphere, both inside and out. We requested to sit outside, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate our group of six—my wife, our four children, and myself. The food was exceptional—easily one of the best meals I’ve had during our vacation in Florida. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. A true hidden gem. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
Andrew — Google review
We were passing through the area and decided to have an early lunch at Dixie Cream Cafe. We were able to find a parking spot easily and walked into the Cafe to put our name on the waiting list at around 11am on a weekday. It looked like there were maybe three parties ahead of us waiting for tables, none of them were a party of two. We had spotted a table literally right next to the door inside, across from the coffee bar, immediately upon walking in. Once I realized how loud the normal seating area was, I actually preferred to sit over in this secluded area on the high tables. We asked the hostess if we would be able to sit there and she said yes, if it was still available after she sat everyone ahead of us on the list. No problem, I get it, I used to be a hostess way back when. 20 minutes later the table is still empty, no one was sat there because the parties ahead of us were not parties of two (as I thought) -- and so she sat us at the high table we requested. I'm not sure why she waited to seat us in the exact order of people on her list, when we could have been accommodated without overstepping those who were waiting before us in larger parties. She could have freed up the standing waiting area by just letting us sit down. Anyway, we knew what we wanted to order immediately, and the food came out relatively quickly considering how busy it was. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich with the sauce on the side (I like to dip instead of having things smothered in sauce). The lettuce on the bun was really wilted, like it had been heat burned way before it made it to my table, and the tomato had a large part of the stem in the center, so I took those off. The chicken itself was really bland and heavily depended on the buffalo sauce for any sort of flavor. I don't think the bread crumbs were seasoned and it didn't come with mayo or ranch or any other sauces on the bun or on the side besides normal buffalo sauce. My husband got the BLT with the fried green tomatoes and loved it. The French fries were average skinny fries and were not seasoned/salted or anything spectacular. I'm thinking breakfast is where it is at here at Dixie Cream Cafe. I would come back to try breakfast options, maybe when the weather is cooler so I can sit outside. Because, again, it is really loud inside. Really, really loud.

What a great experience!!! The breakfast was amazing. The staff also. Plenty of parking. Everything well organized and clean. Will come again.

Food and service is good here. But the restaurant is very crowded in Sunday mornings. We waited for more than 1 hour: 30 mins for seats and 30 mins more in seats for foods. If you are hungry and want to have a branch, this is not the right place, at least on Sundays. Local people love gatherings and have social life in this restaurant. If you insist, it’s better to eat something before entering the restaurant. Good luck.

The staff were pleasant and the decor very nice. However, the cold brew coffee was the worst coffee my wife had ever had. It tasted like grape juice not coffee. It was immediately thrown out not long after we left.

I ordered a croissant with egg and cheese, expecting something fresh and buttery — instead, I got a sad croissant stuffed with what looked (and tasted) like a melted Kraft single. The “cheese” was plastic-like, artificial, and completely ruined the entire sandwich. For the price they’re charging, this is unacceptable. Overpriced and low-quality.

This is inside the park. Such a great experience. Love the pun in the name. The staff were just so kind and wanted to tell me about the menu. The coffee was very hot…..definitely a positive. I like my coffee hot. This is a grab and go or sit awhile. There’s some seating. Check out the menu beforehand so you can maximize your time at universal! There’s cold brew, fruit cup, and chips for df and gf. I didn’t ask about the sandwiches….might be possible to get them without the bread.

Croissant Moon is an often passed by hidden bakery right at the front of Universal’s Islands of Adventure! If you’re wanting a coffee that’s not Starbucks, or a different sweet pick me up this is your place! Along with coffee options such as lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos, there are wide spanning displays with just about every dessert and carb you could hope to have. Muffins, eclairs, cake slices, cookies, brownies, brookies, and I’m not even naming a third of what’s there! But I would be careful in your dessert selection because some desserts are, not great.. they sit in that display case all day and are mass processed, hopefully you get what I’m saying. And don’t worry, if you want a really meal to go with your caffeine and sugar, they have that too! There are some panini sandwich options, and from my experiences with paninis at other restaurants in the park I think they are actually pretty good! I tried a toasted marshmallow iced latte from here and at first, to be honest I thought it was gross. But, the more I drank the more I actually liked it. It’s definitely a strong coffee with a lot of flavoring. I’d probably get a more plain coffee next time but it was worth a shot, or else I’d ask for less flavoring which is something I usually do at any coffee place anyways. Croissant Moon also has a lovely little outdoor seating area that has prime viewing of people watching, which is beyond entertaining at a giant theme park. This is a great and quint park eats option!

This place was perfect for a Friday morning breakfast! It didn't start getting crowded til about 11ish. Right inside the ICON park easy free parking but have to walk to it. I had the caprese omlett which was phenomenal, and the cheese omlett my daughter had. Toast did not come with butter, or warm. Salad was really good with the balsamic dressing. The coffee was sooo good! Latte with simple syrup and a Turkish coffee that has grounds in it! Beautiful prepared to pay about 30 per person for food amd drink, for 2 adults and one 5 year old tab was $86. There are not a lot of good breakfast options in the area, so will be coming back again!

Either the place just got slammed or, they were just ill attentive for a Monday at 1130am. The cashier was nice and friendly, super awesome about not having the churro coffee. The biscuits are tasty, had 2 plates of biscuits and gravy with the spicy sausage gravy. Had a 5 and dime as well as the kids waffle. 3 of the biscuits were nice and moist 1 not so much. Gravy was spicy, seems like Tabasco added to the gravy, and sausage was cut up patties. Little bit much on spice, overwhelmed the biscuit flavors and the gravy flavor itself for sure. Sausage had a good grind was tasty. Kids waffle was made with mini-chocolate chips, half of a Belgian, strawberries and whipped cream and syrup. Was tasty, 4-yo liked it. The 5 and dime was same on biscuits, the bacon was smoky, seemed a little over done, but was a thicker cut bacon and the chicken was really good! Overall, decent place. A bit over-priced in our opinion for what you get and what it is. Definitely something to try if you want and are in the area!

My first time here and I got the Squawking Goat and Peach Berry lemonade. I personally didn’t like the combination of goat cheese and pepper jelly on top of the biscuit itself, but preferred it separate from everything. Solid biscuits and chicken breast though! And the peach berry lemonade was delicious! Will definitely come back.

I never write bad reviews and really love eating from Maple Street Biscuit Company however today I was disappointed in food and the service. I ordered take out for a five and dime and squawking goat chicken biscuit sandwiches. I realized the chicken on mine was unusually small for something I regularly order and was missing the extra goat cheese I paid for. I asked the girl at the counter and she said the chicken is how they get it and pre-portioned. You can see in the photos how small mine was compared to my partners order. She didn’t offer to try to fix it in any way and also claimed the goat cheese was 2 portions. The goat cheese medallion in the photo is one portion that they usually give. Love you guys but the customer service today really was a disappointment.

The staff here are always friendly. The food never disappoints. I love their morning meditation juice as well as the others they offer. Million dollar potatoes and bacon are delicious. I didn’t get a picture of it, but their coconut chia power bowl is my favorite menu item if I’m wanting something sweet and healthy. They also offer seasonal specials as well, which I enjoy.

My first time at this location, I loved the fact there is an option for outside seating which I did. I ordered a traditional breakfast, Eggs, bacon, toast and got fruits instead of the potatoes. Drink of choice was the Blazing Dragon. The breakfast was pretty good. The bacon was crispier than I would have liked and the fruit was merely ok, the pineapples were not sweet. The drink was really good &I will be sure to try it again.

Friend and I stopped here for brunch. Seemed like a very popular place, atleast it was at 11am. But we didnt have a long wait as we had expected. Our server was polite and quick to get out drinks. The food was fresh and delicious. Wish we lived closer to we could try other things on their menu. Highly recommend if your in the area to stop in.

Had to come try the shrimp and grits before it’s gone tomorrow. Have to say, even though Im used to having it with bacon, it was still delicious! Just the right amount of kick. Spiked watermelon was a great alternative to mimosas. My waitress, Alyssa was attentive and accurate. I watched the manager, Kramer, held a heavy presence and kept the place running, from healing with the checkout issues and the hardware on the front door, even though the traffic was heavy and hectic. Ive been to the location in Apopka before which was also a pleasant experience but was less hectic. I will be returning. I can’t wait to see the updates to the fall menu.

The food was different this time. I've eaten here over the years had it's been pretty steady excellent. This time I got million-dollar bacon, it was $2 more and one less strip of bacon.. not a big deal but I expected the bacon to be cooked, mine was really floppy and I like mine pretty done. My waffle was pretty excellent and I love the side of fruit compote, that I didn't know was coming... I used that instead of syrup And it was excellent. The price tag is pretty hard to swallow for a breakfast for three people. It's definitely a treat your self type of place. The bathroom needs to be cleaned a little more often, it was pretty filthy with only one toilet that didn't have excrement stains just running down it. Our waiter was excellent - So I had that going for me

Went to First Watch on Mills with family after a graduation ceremony at the Kia Center, and it was a great choice. Even with the crowd, we were seated quickly and taken care of right away. Service was friendly and on point. Our food came out hot, fresh, and just how we ordered it. I got the So-Cal Hash You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the whole vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Perfect spot to celebrate a big day—would definitely recommend.

Donut shop
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew is a vibrant and fun spot in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort, offering a delightful combination of craft coffee and delectable donuts. The menu features specialty combinations like the Reeses Nitro for peanut butter enthusiasts, along with an array of classic, funky, and super funky donut flavors. From purple glazed ube to cinnamon toast crunch, there's something for every palate.
First time trying their donuts and they did NOT disappoint! Have been to Disney Springs a lot of times but finally decided to give Everglazed a try and I will definitely be going back. Ordered a classic glazed and chocolate sprinkles donut, both were so good and fresh! They are big, thick donuts and definitely worth the $5 price. There was no line to order (around 5:30pm on a Saturday). They have indoor and outdoor seating available and are closest to the Orange parking garage.
Daniela P — Google review
This place was so cute! They had so many creative donut options. We got the Chocolate Iced; it was delicious! The dough to icing ratio was perfect - it was a really good take on a classic donut. I would totally get it again and recommend others trying it. The service wasn't the best, though. The cashiers weren't very friendly, and they borderline rush you to make a decision. The donut and atmosphere made up for that! I'd say go if you're in the area.
Kristen — Google review
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew is a pretty cool place to satisfy your sweet tooth. The vibe is fun and colorful, perfect for hanging out or grabbing a quick treat. Their donuts are rich, fluffy, and full of flavor...definitely not your average donut shop. I also have to say, their fries were a nice surprise... crispy, perfectly seasoned, and a great salty balance to all the sweetness. If you’re in the mood for something indulgent or just want a little pick-me-up with a cold brew, this is a solid stop. Not a place I’d go every day (it’s definitely on the sweet side), but absolutely worth checking out when you want to treat yourself.
EL_CABE — Google review
The donuts at Everglazed in Disney Springs definitely look appetizing… but after a couple of bites, it was just too much. Too greasy — almost to the point where it was a bit off-putting. And then you really taste the sweetness and the chemicals. The flavors don’t feel like they’re coming from quality, organic ingredients; it’s more like processed sugar and artificial flavors. It’s not terrible — I still finished part of it — but it’s heavy, ultra-processed, and not something I’d rush back for. Looks amazing for photos, but the taste doesn’t quite live up.
Jean C — Google review
Wow! I don't know if there is a perfect donut, but these get about as close as possible!!! First, the donut making is visible from the sidewalk, which is really cool to watch. The store was laid out really well, making ordering very easy. The hardest part was deciding. These donuts are HUGE compared to traditional commercial donut spots. Your eyes will be bigger than your stomachs, and that's OK. The donuts we had were very balanced with sweetness. We got a pretty decent spread and definitely couldn't finish them all. The basic donut with chocolate icing was delicate, decadent, and delicious! The icing had a perfect consistency. The glazed was a huge hit with my very picky daughter, and my other daughter loved her sprinkles! My wife got the blueberry cake donut which was still warm and packed with blueberry flavor. We paired the donuts with a delicious and rich chocolate milk, whole milk, cold brew coffee, and the purple reign drink. All were great. The coffee was great!! The drinks were also prepared insanely quickly, which was really appreciated. For 8 donuts and 4 drinks, we paid $60 after the military discount. I couldn't see this being your regular donut place, but more of the occasional visit due to the price. There is definite value for the price, but it's still a little expensive. If you like donuts, this is a must-visit if you're in the area. You will not regret it!! Military Discount: Yes
Eric H — Google review
You can expect to pay around $15 for a chocolate donut and an iced coffee, which might seem a bit much at first, but honestly, it’s a great little spot. What makes it special is how calm and peaceful it is, especially considering how busy the surrounding area can get. It’s tucked away just behind the movie theater, so most tourists walk right past it without noticing. That gives it a more relaxed, almost hidden vibe, with plenty of seating available to sit and enjoy your coffee without the crowds. The coffee is genuinely good, the donut was fresh and tasty, and the staff were kind and welcoming. Whether you want a quiet break or just a quick snack away from the hustle and bustle, this place is definitely worth a stop. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!
DCL98 — Google review
Def should be a destination when you’re on vacation. The drinks are nice (probably more sugar than caffeine) but so many good options. I highly recommend the tenders with the donuts. I really enjoyed this place. And although it seems crowded with long lines it goes by really quickly and if not, it’s worth the weight.

Sharon's Homestyle Cookin' is a laid-back, modern-rustic eatery that serves up delicious down-home American fare for breakfast and lunch. Sharon herself ensures that guests feel at home in her southern-style restaurant where everything is lovingly homecooked. Visitors rave about the quick and attentive service, with some mentioning that their food arrived in just 16 minutes without compromising on quality.
Great family owned diner. For over 30 years Sharon’s has been consistent. Location is clean. There is plenty of parking. Staff is always friendly. Some of the servers have been there for years so it’s great to regularly see a familiar face. The food never lets us down. The club is a favorite; put together like art work. Burgers are huge. For breakfast I often end up with the country fried steak, but I’ve had the pancakes and French toast many times. Philly omelette is top 3 breakfast items for me. Try the grilled cornbread or biscuit. This day we had a club with tater tots, BLT with home fries and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Coffee’s always awesome.

Food was really good and it came out fast. Good variety on the menu. Good portions. Really enjoyed the scrambled eggs with cheese and the french toast tasted homemade. Laid back atmosphere. Our waitress, Erin, was very friendly and adjusted our orders to our preference. I think the chef is a grandma, because it does taste like good home cookin'.

I'm so glad we found this gem in Orlando! We had a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious and arrived right on time. The restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Our server, Miss Sharon, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you ever visit, be sure to ask for her! We truly enjoyed both our meal and the overall experience.

As usual, every Friday, we try a new restaurant to review, and once again, we weren't disappointed. Once we arrived we took a seat and got tended to quick. Our server was very nice, attentive, and quick. From the time we got there to getting our food, it was only 16 minutes. Very fast service and the best thing is that it doesn't affect the quality of food. My husband's chicken fried steak was delicious, full of flavor, and overall, the best I've tried in a while. My simple southern breakfast was delicious. I was surprised I even loved the toast. Coffee is strong but not overwhelming. It's just perfect. We gave compliments about the food to our server and were informed that the chef is actually Ms. Sharon, owner of said restaurant. Will definitely return because of the excellent service and quality of food.
Nohemi R — Google review
Not a place to try for the first time or revisit. The staff is nice, seems like a family business. Very small, hole in the wall place. Wish I had better things to comment on but unfortunately I did not enjoy dining there. My vegetable omelet was a decent size and well made but very bland, my home fries were well cooked but not seasoned, and the in house-made biscuit was so dry not even the butter moistened it. The coffee was also awful! The menu is also overpriced for the amount and quality of food you recieve. They also charge you a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. The atmosphere is very cozy and I'm sure they have alot of regulars. They seem to already know the few people that walked in while I was there.
Nashalie M — Google review
It was good but VERY pricey. We had grilled cheese and fries with a soda. There were 2 of us and it was $30 before tax!!! No grilled cheese is worth that. Otherwise, the people were nice and the food was good. But we won't be back.

Sampaguita Ice Cream is a unique and culturally reflective ice cream shop that offers a variety of Filipino-inspired flavors not commonly found elsewhere. The ambiance is delightful, creating a welcoming environment for enjoying an array of desserts such as sundaes, shakes, and halo-halo. Despite potential long lines during peak hours, the creamy and wonderful ice cream with its diverse flavors makes the wait worthwhile.
Creamy ice cold sweetness is the only antidote for these blistering hot days. I don't know how anyone could survive otherwise... Plus, just look at the decor; it makes you feel like you've slipped away on an island getaway - each table ensures privacy with decorative tropical greens. How lovely! I recommend the Halo Halo - it was a new flavor for me. Maybe it can be for you, too? So escape the heat & try some new flavors! Just don't drink from the straw... it's not really a straw - it's a cookie that looks like a straw...

Filipino-inspired ice cream flavours located in the Asian community of Orlando. This place has a lot of interesting flavours of ice cream and desserts, including sampaguita flavoured ice cream! Since I wouldn’t have the chance to come back here again this trip, I got the two most popular flavours, Soy Sauce Butterscotch and Ube Cookies ’N Cream for 7.5 USD. It’s interesting because each flavour is a combination of Filipino and Western flavours. The soy sauce butterscotch just tasted like butterscotch. I liked the ube more. Ice cream was yummy, but I thought it melted a bit too quickly. I’d come back here tho for the more unique flavours next time. The store itself is also very cute and clean.

Born and raised in the Philippines, I gotta say Sampaguita gives justice to a wide variety of Filipino flavors. My GF and I loved their ube ice cream so much, we got it three visits in a row (both ube + cookies n' cream & ube + latte). The ube is just that good - creamy, light, yet flavorful. Workers are also kind and will let you sample flavors you're interested in :) They also sell other goodies like cookies, macarons, and stickers. Atmosphere is relaxing and there is a good amount of seating. Looking forward coming back here again and gonna bring my mom <3

This place has an ice cream flight! Which I’ve never seen before and thought was pretty cool. The ice cream was good but nothing crazy to brag about but maybe I’m just picky or didn’t order the right flavors but you do get a decent amount, we were able to share the flight between 3 of us. The atmosphere is pretty and the employees are very kind.
Shauntè N — Google review
If you’re looking for unique, Filipino-inspired ice cream flavors, Sampaguita is definitely worth the stop! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and delicious. Our group tried the Sampaguita (sahm-pa-GEE-tuh), Soy Sauce Butterscotch, Ube Shake, and Ube Cookies ’N Cream — all was delicious. They also offer vegan flavors, which was a nice surprise. The shop has a super cute, trendy interior design, with walls perfect for Instagram photos, plus some baked goods as well. Service style: you order, get a number stand, and they bring your ice cream to your table. ⚠️ Things to know: It gets VERY busy, especially on weekend nights (we went Saturday around 9 pm, and there was a line out the door). Seating is limited, so finding a spot can be tough if you’re with a larger group. Parking can be tricky — there’s a small lot in the back, but often full, there is also street parking. Initially, we had a small hiccup with sampling flavors (we were told 4 max), but later manager Johnny personally came over to check in and make sure we were happy. He explained that they do want guests to try as many flavors as they’d like and went out of his way to make it right. That level of care made a huge difference in the experience — and is why I’m rating this much higher than I originally would have. Overall, Sampaguita is a fun, creative, and delicious dessert stop that’s worth the wait. Highly recommend if you’re in Orlando and want something unique beyond the typical ice cream shop! ✨
Shirlean S — Google review
First time living in Orlando, Florida first time moving here and somebody at Orlando Cowboys recommended that we go here for their ice cream and let me just tell you I it did not disappoint. Their ice cream is so rich and flavor and the combinations of the other pieces are just so delectable and just so amazing they drop it off and they make it so pretty so worth the way and so buttery and really really creamy honestly definitely go here with your friends or for a quick bite after class the ice cream is pretty interesting because it’s made of purple potatoes so it gives off an extra nutty flavor but honestly Biscoff pie and mango peach pie are my two favorite definitely go for either one of Those

The New York Bakery Boys is a fantastic spot to immerse oneself in a truly genuine New York atmosphere. The ambiance, service, and cuisine all epitomize authenticity, making it an ideal destination for Sunday morning meals. Furthermore, the establishment bears remarkable similarity to Joe's pizza from the city, establishing itself as the closest alternative in town.
Definitely a NY Bagel experience! These bagels are great and the staff is awesome. We went here after seeing it on Beard Meats Food. Cream cheese selection is on point and they have a great variety of bagels. If you are in the area, you gotta stop here.

I was on a 5 day vacation with my family we discovered this place 3 days too late in our trip because we visited 2 days in a row for breakfast. We definitely will visit again on our next trip to Orlando . Fast friendly staff .

I'm the most honest Google maps reviewer on the Internet. #ashleyweis The new York bakery is a solution for deli or fresh baked bagels. However with a high comma, They're not telling their customers the air conditioning is broken, in fact, they've been trying to fix it for "weeks" and in the middle of a heat wave, if you leave your air conditioning home to go out, you expect to be cooled off. Disappointed they're not WARNING consumers their air conditioning is out. We traveled far for deli and didn't want to sweat eating. Should be discounted to eat in a heat wave and the business purposely isn't fixing their air nor telling you it's broken. #ashleyweis follow us on any social platform. We share truth everywhere.

This bagel spot offers an authentic New York style and a great atmosphere, and the sandwiches are delicious! However, I did observe a concerning hygiene issue: a staff member didn't wash their hands after coming in from outside and using their phone before putting on gloves and handling food. If you haven’t yet made your way to New York Bakery Boys in Celebration, Florida, it’s time to treat your taste buds to an unforgettable experience. Picture this: the kind of bagel that’s perfectly chewy on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside—every bite feels like a warm hug from New York itself. And then there’s the variety of cream cheeses… it’s not just a spread, it’s an art form. From classic plain to dreamy chive, to flavors that make you wonder how you ever lived without them (hello, strawberry & YES … bacon cheddar ), the cream cheese game here is NEXT LEVEL. You can also choose HOW MUCH cream cheese you want and if you dare go for the the “NY Amount” ! But wait—there’s more! The best part? The all-day breakfast. Yes, you read that right. You can enjoy a hearty breakfast at any hour, whether you’re craving an egg sandwich piled high with toppings, or just something simple but satisfying. It’s the kind of place that makes you wonder why every breakfast joint doesn’t stay open all day. And let’s talk about the team—Trinity and her crew are the true heart of this bagel bakery place. Their warmth and enthusiasm are only matched by the quality of the food they serve. It’s clear that every bagel, every spread, and every dish is crafted with a sprinkle of magic and a whole lot of NY love. So here’s to Trinity and the Bakery Boys team for making mornings, afternoons, and all hours in between just a little bit brighter—and a lot tastier! Keep doing what you do best, because you’re making us all feel like we’ve found a delicious slice of home.

Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista is a breezy hotel that offers a free theme park shuttle and Wi-Fi, along with buffet dining, 2 pools, and a game room. The location is perfect for satisfying barbecue cravings with nearby dining options. The guest services team is dedicated to ensuring a great stay experience. Festive buffet favorites are available during the season, featuring turkey with pecan cranberry sauce and other classic sides.
I stay at the Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista a few times a year. The beds are very comfortable and it's in a quiet location. Even facing the highway and with the ac on, the only thing you may here is a motorcycle. This was the first time I have a complaint about cleanliness. The shower needed a very deep clean and the ceiling needs to be painted. They have now started charging $10/night for parking which is a huge bummer because there was no mention of that when booking the room. The location is fantastic. About 5-10 minutes from Disney springs. They are a good neighbor hotel so they offer shuttles to the parks. The pool area is always clean and well maintained. Staff are always friendly and efficient. For my 4th review mentioning this though, 2 double beds should always have 4 pillows on each bed, not 3!!!!! The pillows are way too small to only have 3 on a bed.
Brittany D — Google review
The rooms are a bit outdated but generally clean. We booked through Agoda, which clearly stated that a buffet breakfast was included. However, upon check-in, the front desk informed us that the “included breakfast” was actually a grab-and-go option — a pastry, juice, and a banana — which wasn’t what we paid for or even knew existed. When we showed them our booking confirmation showing buffet breakfast, they insisted we’d need to pay nearly $20 per person per day if we wanted it. Thankfully, Agoda’s support stepped in, confirmed the hotel was in the wrong, and refunded us nearly $300 for the inconvenience. During our stay, we saw several other guests having similar issues at the front desk — being placed in cheaper rooms than what they booked or facing the same breakfast problem — which was concerning to witness. On the positive side, this hotel is affordable and well-located as a base for visiting the Disney Parks, Disney Springs, and the outlet mall (which you can actually see across the highway). If you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep between park days, it does the job. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance — Olive Garden, Miller’s Ale House, Hooters, Chili’s, etc. Most Uber or Lyft rides to the parks cost $10 or less each way. We used the free shuttle a couple of times, but the schedule wasn’t ideal — it either left too late or came back too early. It’s also a shared shuttle with other hotels, so it can get crowded. Overall, I think 3 out of 5 stars is fair. The hotel really needs to improve its customer service — guests shouldn’t have to fight to get what they’ve clearly booked. A little effort and understanding would go a long way.

Me and my sisters stayed here in September, the location is great but that is the only thing good about this hotel. We lift wasn't working for the whole two weeks we were there. We had ants in the room and found our from the people next door that their daughter had been moved because of the ants, and then to find cockroaches in her new room. The cleaner didn't clean much We had boxes by the bin for nearly a week. Just kept leaving flannels the We wasn't using as having showers, by the end of the week we had 15 flannels. The buffet food was cold the times we went there. Have stayed at Rosen Inn hotels along international drive. But will not stay at that hotel chain no more. Needs a good upgrade.

Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista is a very good choice for families and groups visiting Orlando. The hotel provides convenient services such as free parking, and 24-hour security, which makes the stay comfortable and safe. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and check-in is usually quick and smooth. The property has outdoor pools, a children’s play area, and on-site dining options including a buffet breakfast and a mini market for snacks and essentials. Housekeeping keeps the rooms clean and well stocked, and Wi-Fi is reliable throughout the hotel. While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained and offers excellent value for money with its combination of location, services, and affordability.

Beautiful and comfortable during my stay. I will say the rooms smell like humidity as soon as you open the door. But I brought my Room Fragrance Spray and solved, the rooms are clean but other than that a very quiet and peaceful place. I will definitely come back if God allows it.

Pretty mediocre. Firstly, we had with us 2 small emotional support dogs with all the proper paperwork but we’re still charged the nightly dog fee. Not a single other hotel has ever charged us but technically, they aren’t service animals trained via a program but still, it was an interesting take by them. The room was adequate. Nothing special. Functional. The pool areas are kind of small for a place that calls themselves a resort and the kids lost interest really fast in them. Our TV had a line going down the screen but they offered to replace it immediately. We tried breakfast on site and it was very overpriced for a very underwhelming meal. They add a 15% service fee and ask for a tip before you start. A tip should be based on the service so pushing for that before we’ve even had a single bite of food is off-putting. That said, the lady in our area was pleasant and hard working so we left cash as a tip for her. But it was still just a buffet meal with nothing special going on so very overpriced priced and we didn’t go back. We booked and paid prior so we just missed out on the new $10 a day parking fee but it doesn’t surprise me that they’ve added that. It was a perfectly acceptable place to stay but they nickle and dime you for an experience none of us were particularly impressed with. One stay was enough and we definitely won’t be returning as it’d cost even more in the future for what I can only assume will be the same “eh” experience. It’s main feature is being close to Disney. There are a lot of places that fit that bill and offer better experiences.

Good location. Older hotel and the service gets it 0 stars. They are in scam business with breakfast offer with third parties. I booked the hotel with breakfast option included. They have a buffet breakfast in the premises. But they asked additional $20 to get breakfast from there. Instead, they offered me to grab a coffee and a piece of banana from the store nearly, which is very insulting. Avoid this place.

I chose to stay here because it was a affordable option for my girlfriend and I we’re only 20, that being said not many hotels in the area allow people under 21 in our budget we came to Orlando for my birthday (flew half way across the country) it was our first vacation together. The beds are rock solid felt like concrete, water pressure in the shower is horrible and the water smelled like eggs, location is bad with the highway being next to it, it makes walking to most locations impossible. The absolute worst part is the plaza across the street has a very loud bar with an outdoor venue that will blast music until 2am. normally not an issue if I knew that it would be that loud, but I didn’t. I wouldn’t booked here, I can’t drink so kinda irritating hearing people yell and sing all night while trying to sleep. I would honestly like my money back (will not happen lol) I didn’t sleep more than 3 hours each night the whole trip. The good about the hotel its pretty clean and staff was friendly nice stray cat that lives on property.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful café that encapsulates the essence of Colombian culture while serving up exceptional coffee, look no further than Mecatos Bakery & Café. This charming establishment is not just a bakery; it's an experience steeped in tradition and warmth, making it a must-visit destination in Orlando. Since its inception in 2015, Mecatos has flourished into multiple locations, each offering an inviting atmosphere where you can savor authentic Colombian treats.
Such a cute coffee shop! Nice atmosphere and a great location in downtown Orlando. The food is good, and the coffee is delicious. Friendly staff and cozy vibes make it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. I’ll definitely be back!

In the middle of all the crazy and bougie spots in Downtown Orlando, Mecatos stands out as a humble gem serving one of the best breakfasts around. Their sandwiches are fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced — and the coffee? Smooth, rich, and made with care. A cozy, unpretentious place that instantly feels like home. Highly recommended for a calm start to your day.

One of my favorites downtown! LOVED the empanadas! They are less than $3, but they are tiny (see photo). Espresso was bitter, but I really enjoyed the coffee. They have TONS of sweets, baked goods, breads, areapas, burgers, fries, etc.. this truly is a Latino/Colombian type vibe. The decor is nice, the music is good and the service was great. This definitely makes the top of my list for coffee places in orlando - specifically because it's got the latin america vibe that is so fun, delicious, and welcoming. I spent $10 on a chicken empanada, small coffee and single Espresso. I'll be back for sure!

Affordable Colombian food with empanadas, arepas, Columbian burger, pastries, and more. We came in for a late lunch/early dinner and the restaurant seemed to be fully staffed. We were greeted immediately from the cashier. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. When I asked about the difference of two similar cakes, she said explained it. She was friendly and polite. Our food came out quickly. The empanadas had a thick pastry and were crispy. The chicken pastry was such a delicious entree that just kind of oozed comfort food. The Hawaiian empanada could be good if the taste was consistent all the way through. My first couple of bites were more spiced and didn’t have the pineapple and sweet taste that the rest of the empanada had. The chorizo was a little dry. The chocolate cannoli was ok. It as a lighter chocolate flavor. The coconut cake with caramel was a good balanced flavor. The dulce de leche cake was light. My only ask for improvement is for sturdier plastic utensils. With the dense chorizo and coconut cake, the utensils bent and couldn’t effectively pick up or cut the bites of food. There is a menu with food without gluten on the counter but they do warn that they prepare food without gluten gluten and can’t guarantee that gluten doesn’t get into “gluten free food”.

The beef empanadas were delicious! Decently priced for what you get. Customer service was great, they were all super nice and patient since it was our first time here. Coffee was a bit strong for my taste but still good!

We have been in the US (from NYC to Florida roadtrip) for three weeks now, and this is a place with most lovely and sincere people. You can feel it by the way they talk to all their customers, and the love they put in the Colombian cuisine ⭐️ The coffee was very good - the bean hit my tastebuds just right ☕️ I got Arepa with beef, chicken and sausages (after the lovely lady’s recommendation) and it was very tasty. Big portions. We also got Tequeño - stick stuffed with (queso blanco, I think?) cheese. Recommended for all cheese lovers! Avocado toast with additional scrambled eggs and bacon was also delicious 🥑

Been getting my daily coffee at downtown Orlando Mecatos now for the past 2 months. Brenda and Karen have been amazing. Always with a smile on their faces, super friendly and always say good morning when I see them. Obviously they know my order now so my coffee is prepared fairly quickly.

I usually enjoy coming here, the food is great and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, during my last visit, one staff member was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer, I believe her name is Brenda. It really took away from the otherwise positive experience. I hope management can address this, because the store itself is wonderful.

Maple Street Biscuit Company is a popular casual cafe in Orlando that offers a unique twist on classic comfort breakfasts, particularly biscuits and gravy. The menu features an array of mouthwatering biscuit sandwiches such as the Sticky Maple and the Five and Dime, alongside traditional biscuit and gravy plates, waffles, and breakfast bowls. All their dishes are made with fresh, natural, and house-made ingredients.
My husband and I visited this location over the weekend and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We ordered the Sweet Grace Waffles, Hash Bold Bowl, and the Squawking Goat Chicken Biscuit — each dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant was busy, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was very reasonable and well worth it for the quality of the food and service. Highly recommend for a tasty and satisfying breakfast!
Alex F — Google review
The food was downright delicious—comfort food at its finest. The biscuits were heavenly: fluffy, golden, and full of buttery goodness. The chicken? Massive and bursting with flavor, exactly what you want when you're craving something hearty. While the sausage gravy could've used a little more punch, it still paired nicely with the rest of the meal. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be going back!

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 First time trying Maple Street Biscuit at this location and while the food was good, the wait time on my order wasn’t great. We ordered two plates (Five and Dime and the Retro Plate) and before we knew it, we had waited 40 minutes and watched nearly every table that came in after us get their food. Half of our table placed an order with a separate number and they got their food before we did, despite ordering after us. I finally asked the server if he could check on the food and it still took about 10 minutes to get it out again. Our server was apologetic kind enough to give us a free plate of biscuits and I appreciate the gesture. I’m hoping this was something that doesn’t happen often, perhaps just bad timing that day.

This is not a sit down type of restaurant. It's like a fast food place. You go to counter, order, get food, then move your dirty dishes and trash yourself. I'm honestly shocked this place is rated so high. We love the area and have been wanting to check them out. What we ordered (for $37): Smashbrowns Biscuits and gravy Maple vanilla latte Five and dime The best parts of all of those was the chicken and egg. The Biscuits and gravy were ice cold and stale. The coffee wasn't strong enough to be labeled as a latte imo. The smash browns were still raw in the center. Nothing came out warm. The cashier had an attitude. There was plenty of seating for 9am on a Sunday. We will not be coming back.

My husband and I were craving and really excited to get chicken and waffles at this new location. We love maple street biscuit company in Celebration — it was our go-to spot and always hit the mark. So naturally, we were thrilled to find a location closer to home. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. When we walked in, there was no line at the counter, but we still had to wait 35 minutes for our food. During that time, the person behind the counter didn’t smile once or make any effort to be welcoming — not exactly the kind of service that makes you feel good about your visit. When the food finally came out, it was even more underwhelming. The waffle was flat, soggy, lacking the crispness and flavor we remembered. As for the chicken, we were served just three small strips — definitely not the hearty, satisfying portion we were expecting. It felt like a completely different dish than what we used to enjoy. We really wanted to love this place again, but between the long wait, unfriendly service, and disappointing food, it just wasn’t the experience we hoped for.

My friends and I visited this location this past weekend and it was an overall good experience. We were able to snag a table right when we arrived every though it was very busy. We were able to order, pay and were given a number and the staff brings your food to you. My food was hot and flavorful and I would definitely be backnto visit!

Visiting Orlando from Oklahoma decided to try this place after watching people on YouTube talk bout it. Nice to walk in and see mixers making up fresh biscuits. Had the five and dime biscuit was really balanced with great flavors. One biscuit we got the apple butter was a little much and made it to sweet to finish off should’ve asked for butter on the side. Would def come back here again if I’m in the area

They got my order wrong and I didn’t complain. It was busy so I ate what they gave me. Biscuits - delicious. Friend chicken - delicious. Not a fan of the maple syrup on it - was too thick. Kids had the sweet grace - and the farmer biscuit. Hubby had the retro plate and was very happy. Overall a great experience. Had I got the squawking goat I ordered I’m sure it would have been great.

I loved this hotel! Everything was very clean, well-organized, and the staff was super respectful and responsible. The room and bathroom were spotless. The recent renovation looks beautiful, and the hotel has great accessibility and a super central location—close to parks, restaurants, and entertainment. Parking was easy, security was good, and the entire place was very well maintained. The breakfast was five stars—absolutely fantastic. I would definitely come back!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days 2 nights earlier in August and overall, we enjoyed our stay. There was a nice large outdoor pool and hot tub that really hit the spot after a long day of running through the parks at Universal. They also offer an evening event where they offer free beverages and snacks. We didn't get an opportunity to take advantage of that since our evenings were spent away from this hotel but it's worth looking into. As far as location, this place is really within walking distance to Universals Endless Summer Resorts if that tells you anything. It's about a mile away from Universal City Walk but just based on the road situation and traffic I would not recommend walking to the park. Besides, this hotel has a free shuttle service that makes regular departures and returns to Universal. Just be sure to get a schedule and register at the Universal desk at the hotel at least 15 minutes prior to the departure. Our only complaints about this property: There was only one single elevator working while we where there. I heard there was a second one at the other end of the hotel but it was way faster to just walk the stairs as the elevator was slow and almost always full in the mornings. This would be an issue if someone had trouble walking and had to be somewhere in the morning at a certain time and you didn't plan extra time to get there. The breakfast was sub par at best. I would consider the options provided worse than a typical Homewood / Hampton Inn breakfast which isn't that great to begin with. Just don't expect anything special here. Overall though, we did enjoy our stay and the staff made it a good experience. We would come back to this hotel in the future.

An incredible stay. The hotel is newly renovated, it feels and looks all new and very beautiful. The rooms are quite spacious. The breakfast was very good, quite varied and the staff was very friendly at all times, specially the 2 guys night auditors. Super recommended. I will definitely stay here next time.

I had such a good experience at Homewood Suites! I stayed two nights. Rooms were clean and spacious. They offered free hot breakfast that was to die for with a lot of different options for food. The best part is we were less than 10 mins from Universal Studios. The hotel is in the middle of everything so it’s easy to find restaurant options, fast food, shopping stores, etc. I will always use this hotel when I’m in the Orlando area!
Dahlia H — Google review
We had a great stay our trip was relatively short, but the hotel offered everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. We didn’t use the transfer shuttles to Universal, but we chose this hotel because of its excellent amenities — the 24-hour gym, complimentary breakfast, pool, and basketball court were all big pluses. One thing I didn’t see mentioned in other reviews: if you want to use the basketball court, just ask the front desk — they’ll provide a basketball! The complimentary breakfast was a highlight. There was a nice variation from day to day, which kept things interesting. We especially loved the breakfast tacos — one morning featured shredded chicken and the next had pulled pork, both delicious options. The facility was very clean and well-maintained. A special shout-out to Nadia, one of the housekeepers, who was an absolute ray of sunshine. Every morning she greeted us so warmly with, “Good morning, have the most wonderful beautiful day.” Her positive energy truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchenette, but it’s a great added value for longer stays. The pull-out couch wasn’t the most comfortable, but it served its purpose and honestly, we weren’t in the room much anyway! Overall, this Homewood Suites was great: friendly staff, great amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Universal area!

Highly recommended!

The experience was truly unbeatable. The service we received from Luis, Elias, Hannah, and Monica was first-rate. We felt right at home. Everything was very clean and welcoming. We would return many more times. The only suggestion is that they should upgrade the elevator. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR VACATION INCREDIBLE.

We had a lovely experience here! We stayed on the 5th floor. We had a queen size bed , two televisions, a kitchenette, bathtub, and large sink. You can sign into your Netflix, disney plus and apple tv. The free shuttle is very convenient, sign up the day before as seats can fill up. but if you plan on staying until park closing you may need to uber back. If you do uber, i HIGHLY reccommend you schedule a ride for when you leave the parks, it is SO hard to get one otherwise!!! The complimentary breakfast buffet is AMAZING. I only suggest that you guys add more fruit to it. I was dying for melon and berries by the end of my stay. The cleaning staff does an amazing job! My only complaints are as follows: -One working elevator, that sounds a bit rickety. Only 5 people are allowed at one time. - the water pressure is veeeery very weak. Makes it difficult to get clean. - i did see some ants in the bathroom several days near the end of my stay.Nothing to really freak out over, they were small and not more than 3 or 4 at a time. But i see from other reviews this is not an isolated occurrance. So maybe address this? - our bathroom door sticks very badly. Was afraid i was shut in more than once. not provided in case anyone is wondering: razors, toothbrushes or paste, floss, deodorant, feminine products, combs, etc. Provided are: hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Dish pod for the dishwasher, sink sponge, and dishsoap. Dust cloths, iron and board, safe, hangers,

Neighborhood Breakfast Cafe. We met friends for breakfast for the first time at this coffee shop. (First time meeting up with the friends and first time meeting at this coffee shop.) It was great. It was extremely busy when we went. However, we still had a great time. It took a while to get our food, but time passed quickly as we were in conversations with the friends. Although the place was busy, we still had a great conversation with good food.

Service needs to be improved. Only one touch screen used by every guest OR go use the QR code on a table. NO assistance with ordering. And their business website won’t allow you to explore it…unless you give them YOUR EMAIL. You can’t see the menu or ABOUT section or anything. This tells you how valuable your email is to this business. Not your happiness or excitement to explore a new business but so they can sell your information. Food was yummy and my earl grey tea was hot. Place was lovely (but no one was washing tables after guests self disposed of plates/trash like Paneras). But one on one CS? They seriously need to put the paying guests as their priority. Self Service grocery stores are getting beat up about this same thing. Do your job. I don’t work here!

I love this café for its atmosphere, and the presentation of the dishes is great. In my opinion, it’s a little overpriced, but the food is good. The only downside is that I don’t take sugar in my coffee, and the sugar-free syrups don’t mix well with it. I think they should improve either the syrup or the way it’s prepared. The regular coffee looks really good, but I haven’t tried it yet. I love this place anyways.

Our friends invited us here for a nice breakfast outing. First impression wasn’t great, we had to wait in line for a while before anyone acknowledged us. The cashier seemed busy chatting with another employee and handling orders. That said, once she took our order, she was really friendly and took the time to explain the menu. The biggest downside was how long the food took to come out, especially since we had kids with us who were getting pretty restless. We understand weekends can be busy, but it felt like the wait was longer than it should’ve been. As for the food: the coffee was good, the kids really liked the muffins, the breakfast taco was excellent, and the french toasts were a bit soggy but still okay. The place itself is nicely decorated with plenty of seating, and parking is no issue. One thing that bothered us was being charged an 8.5% service fee and a 3.5% surcharge with no clear explanation. It would be helpful if those fees were explained upfront or posted somewhere for customers to see. Overall, it was an okay experience. Prices are reasonable, and it’s worth a try, but some improvements in service and transparency would make a big difference.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s my favourite place for breakfast. There are very diverse options to choose from, the menu is very complete. You can tell their ingredients are well chosen and good quality. The place is nice and clean and the price is fair. I recommend the avocado toasts, they come with A LOT of avocado and a great quantity of scrambled eggs. The French toasts are really good, just a little bit dry in my opinion. There is little to no interaction with the staff as most of people order by scanning the codes in the table. The times I’ve ordered in the front the staff have been very nice!

Vanessa's Coffee Shop has been on my list for months. We finally made it. It is cute place. Aesthetic you would say, that serve great food and delicious coffee. We ordered Sunrise Tacos, 3 tacos with your choice of meat, scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, queso fresco, mayo-cilantro, avocado & sour cream. Also the Happy Morning, an omelette with your choice of meat and cheese, with a sunny side egg on top (love the double egg situation) served with a slice of french toast, topped with whipped cream, fruits powered sugar and small jar of nutella. For drinks, hot mocha latte and an iced latte. Everything was delicious. The service on point. The price was a little higher than I expected but for this, it was worth it.

Aesthetically this place is cute, it gives you everything from a coffee shop you want to sit down in and knock out some emails. The food and drink leave something to be desired. I ordered a cappuccino and decided to add a syrup. Ordered it with oat milk and received a latte with no foam. When I brought it up to the front and kindly asked if I could get a new one with more foam I was told "oh it's oat milk it does not foam" she was very sweet on the delivery. Now this is not my first cappuccino made with oat milk, and I make them at home and foam my milk. It foams fine, it does not last long but long enough for you to drink it before it dissipates. We also got the Blue Berry pancakes which were beautiful. Flavors on most things were good just not for the pricetag they came with. There are a lot of great coffee shops in Orlando this just isn't one I am coming to because it has good coffee. But seriously let's foam the oat milk 😂

The Monroe is a stylish restaurant located in the downtown Parramore neighborhood of Orlando, Florida. It offers a variety of modern comfort food in a chic setting with both modern furnishings and classic accents. The restaurant features a dining room, bar, lounge/study area, backyard patio, and daytime coffee bar. The space pays homage to both Orlando and the neighborhood's history with its Florida-themed decor. The Monroe has received recognition for its upscale and welcoming atmosphere as well as its comforting dishes.
My wife and I, along with a group of friends (6 total), had brunch at The Monroe. Upon arrival for our reservation, we were warmly greeted by the hostess. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, with a modern, comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp and grits, while my wife went with the chicken and waffles. The shrimp and grits not only looked amazing but delivered on flavor — creamy, well-seasoned grits paired with perfectly cooked shrimp and just the right amount of spice. The chicken and waffles were equally impressive. The Belgian waffles were crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and the chicken was tender, moist, and perfectly crispy. Every bite was packed with flavor. The dessert cinnamon bun is a must try.

Came for brunch. Beautiful interior with mixed mediums for design! Very warm & welcoming, caught myself talking with the barista for a bit, she was incredibly kind. Service was pretty prompt, it was a full restaurant and we were never left waiting too long for anything. Everything we ordered had layers of flavor, with the cinnamon roll being a show stopper, being one of the best in recent memory. The biscuits & gravy and the chicken & waffles (amazing waffles) are also very worthy of mention. Overall amazing experience, highly recommend for brunch

The Monroe was a great find and walk distance from Inter & Co stadium. Happy hour had great menu items, had the Old Fashioned and The Monroe punch, both drinks were made to perfection. Then the French Onion dip and chips both made in house were delicious. The steak cooked to a medium rare and the salmon has amazing crisp skin. Both items were delicious, seasoned just right and we will be back. Highly recommend. The atmosphere was fun, very big yet felt like we were the only ones there. Our waiter was very attentive, and we never felt like we waited.

First visit today to celebrate our Mother’s birthday and we really enjoyed it. We ordered a Two piece Fried Chicken with Macaroni Salad and a Cucumber/Tomato/Bell pepper salad and dinner roll($19), a Burger with fries ($20) and a Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken ($21). Everything was tasty. The Fried Chicken was moist and really nice, the Grilled Chicken on the Caesar Salad was perfectly seasoned and moist. The Burger was a bit messy with 2 smashed Pattie’s, cheese, sauce, onions and pickles and really tasty too. Our server was Freddy and he was wonderful…attentive and kind. He even brought my Mom a birthday cake pop with a candle. The dining room is comfortable, rustic yet elegant and very nice. This is a restaurant that I can recommend for sure and we would order everything we ordered this visit again. However, I saw the Fried Chicken sandwich as it was leaving the kitchen window and I’m pretty sure that is what I will order next visit. There is paid street parking across the street and I think there is a parking garage nearby.

The food at Monroe is solid for brunch, but honestly, it really shines at dinner. The biscuits at brunch were a little on the crunchy side, but still tasty. Our chicken and waffles were good, though the waffles had more of a funnel cake consistency than a traditional waffle. Dinner, on the other hand—WOW. We came last week and that fried chicken meal with the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes was 10/10 (really 100000/10). Absolutely delicious! The service is always great here, too—the servers are attentive and make the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for dinner, and I’d be open to giving brunch another shot.

So happy I found this spot. The space is HUGE, and honestly could be a great venue for a holiday party or a birthday dinner. It’s pretty, classy, and welcoming. The food and drinks were also INCREDIBLE! I’ve had both their brunch and dinner menu options and I was satisfied with both. From drinks, to coffee, to dessert, to apps/entrees this place did not disappoint

I had the food at the Monror restaurant during the Magical Dining Event. I had the pork belly smores and added the loaded potato croquettes for appetizer. The Salmon for the entrée and oreo pie as dessert. All of the food was very good but the star of the show was the pork belly s'mores. It was their own creation and homemade graham cracker. Unique and really good. Check it out when you're there.

The Monroe absolutely delivered! Chef Nick’s creations are WOW — full of flavor, creativity, and the perfect twist on your favorite cuisine. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and the flavor was definitely not lacking. You can tell there’s real passion behind the food here. The bar experience was just as impressive. Shanna was amazing — friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. She made this incredible tropical punch that was the perfect blend of bright, refreshing flavors. Every recommendation she gave was spot on. Between the food, drinks, and service, The Monroe is a must-visit. Chef Nick and Shanna made the experience unforgettable!

Coffee shop
Cafe
Deeply Cafe and Bottle Shop, located in downtown Orlando, offers a bright and minimalist-chic space where patrons can enjoy barista-made coffee and natural wines by the bottle. The owner, Ryan Holden, has curated a high-quality experience with a commitment to authenticity, featuring a multi-roaster shop with beans sourced from an international network. The cafe boasts a gorgeous breakfast menu with Scandinavian vibes and is well-attended by locals.
Some of the best coffee I’ve had in Orlando. I’ve had both a hot and iced latte. Loved both! Smooth and creamy, with a good amount of strength too. Would highly recommend. Really like the vibes and aesthetic of the coffee shop as well. Lots of seating both inside and out. Only downside may be parking. But I’ve lucked out both times finding street parking right by.

Deeply enjoyed visiting this coffee shop! It's right near Lake Eola so a great place to relax before or after a walk around the lake. I got one of the specialty drinks (Dreamsickle Matcha) and a caprese turkey sandwich. There is an impressive selection of coffees and wines as well. The decor is pretty minimalist and the natural light from the windows was inviting. Could see myself working here or just enjoying some free time like I did. It's downtown so parking can be a pain but worth checking out!

Way better than any franchise cafe. Lots of choice, great coffee for reasonable price, friendly staff and nice atmosphere!

This place is perfect to relax and truly enjoy a coffee experience. Even if you’re not a coffee lover, the tea options are amazing;I tried the black tea with oat milk and it was delicately flavored and spiced. The atmosphere is young and vibrant, making it a great spot to work or just chit chat for a while. The Drop Limoncillo Nicaraguan coffee with oat milk was such a unique and memorable experience!

Omg. Their homemade pop tarts are AMAZING. They’re really more like an empanada than a pop tart, with tons of filling and a flaky pastry crust. I had the pumpkin one and it was actually out of this world. Still thinking about it

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this place. The service was exceptional, and the coffee was simply outstanding. The espresso was particularly impressive, it was like drinking from another planet. Eriel, the barista, was incredibly kind and generous. Although I had never tried the iced Americano before, he insisted on offering it to me for free, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place

I love the consistency of the drinks here plus the very cool and welcoming vibe. The seasonal menu now has a magical Matcha Dreamsicle that you should definitely try!!!
Chantal A — Google review
I love everything about this shop. It’s always clean, fast service, the baristas are super amazing by far the friendliest and happy barista I have ever experienced. Love their hours since I get to the area at 7:30am to drop off the kids at the school next door. The music and volume is great all of this is what makes this coffee shop unique and young! I used to go to other coffee shops and for these reasons I come to this one only this one now. If the environment changes my opinion will too. Thank deeply don’t stop being all that you are. Whoever wants it quiet can go to the library it’s only a block away. Oh dog friendly! And I love the doggies that go there.

Breakfast restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch, look no further than Carol's Place. This charming family-owned diner boasts a warm atmosphere with its inviting yellow walls and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. With a menu brimming with comforting country classics like grits, biscuits, eggs cooked to perfection, fluffy pancakes, and delicious waffles, every visit promises hearty portions that will satisfy your cravings.
A great down home country breakfast type place. If you are craving that then look no further. They typically have specials running on top of their regular menu items. The coffee is especially good. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I also enjoy that they give honest input on what they like, don't like. Traffic can be a pain on getting to this location, so he wary of rush hour times. Overall, a great place to eat, and on par pricing for breakfast food, $ - $$.

For such a quaint place, the food and service was exceptional. The B&G's were perfection. Visiting from Kansas and was surprised about the prices here. Cheaper than back home! Will be visiting again before I leave back home.

Charming little hole-in-the-wall restaurant with great food and cheap prices! It doesn’t get much better than that! I liked everything that my husband and I ordered. We recommend the melt-in-your-mouth bacon and biscuits and gravy! You won’t be disappointed!

Sad news just heard Carols is going to be sold. Linda - the owner- don’t do it. Been coming here for years. Clean. Great food. Come here for the service and the laughs. The two sisters are a hoot. I will miss it. Is there anything we can do in the community to keep it as is. Keep Carols. Keep Carols as is😬😬

Very American, southern style breakfast (fried eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits, pancakes). Popular with locals. Service was nice, efficient but not rushed. Place was packed by 9:30 am on Saturday.

One of the best places to grab a good meal in the SODO area. Breakfast and lunch specials are great and you wont leave here hungry. Found this place about a year ago and I keep coming back. Do your tastebuds a favor and stop in and give it a try.

Kind, Courteous and Quick. The Bestest I have been in a long time. Feels like back home in NY (western) where everyone knows your name and the Home Cooking Taste is Great. Coffee service is Barnone. Thanks Girls. 3 Thumbs Up!

Nice staff! Price and food quality is what you'd expect from a diner. This is fixable, but management should note that men's bathroom was nasty (see for yourself) and smelled like cigarettes; needs to be gutted and redone.

Chicken restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled within the vibrant atmosphere of Universal Studios, Cletus' Chicken Shack offers a delightful country-style dining experience that’s sure to satisfy your cravings. This charming eatery specializes in mouthwatering chicken sandwiches, wings, and tenders. One standout item is the Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, featuring crispy fried chicken nestled between fluffy waffles and drizzled with a heavenly maple mayo sauce—truly a treat for any foodie!
It’s not perfect but I don’t have much to complain. Food is fine for me, and the setting is cool. You can watch Simpsons episodes here.
Tianling W — Google review
I always love this show growing up. I'm so glad I got the chance to actually eat at the real crusty burger and cletus's chicken shack, an amazing experience
Daniel B — Google review
I really enjoy the food and atmosphere in Springfield. The chicken at Cletus' is some of the best I've had. The flavors of the sandwiches just meld together nicely. The line can be a bit long though as they have melded 3 lines into one. So you start all at one place then only switch to your individual preference once you get to the front.
Appreciated I — Google review
Popped in for some Chicken Tumbs for a quick grab an go. The definetly hit the spot and were exactly what I needed to continue my Universal Studios journey. Great staff, good food...on my way.
Brian M — Google review
I think theme park food typically gets a bad rap, and Universal does have some decent food options with all that being said. Cletus’ Chicken greatly brings down that GPA unfortunate to say. I am thoroughly horrified from the experience of eating here. The menu is simple, based on the name: they serve various plates and forms of chicken. Grilled chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and a chicken and waffle sandwich. I was particularly excited to have the chicken & waffle. But, when we finally got up to order they said they were out of waffles. Let me also say that we came around 6, 6:30, so it was literally mid dinner rush. How can your primary dish be chicken and waffles, yet you “run out” of waffles when you’re hardly even into the prime dinner hours? As we went along in line I heard the workers state that they were out of several other options beyond waffles too. What even? We were super hungry. That’s the only reason I forced down and mostly finished my meal, and also because we paid far more than the food was worth, being it is a theme park. So, I got a grilled chicken sandwich, as that seemed an okay second option with them not having waffles. It makes my stomach hurt still to think of it. The chicken was extremely dry, like any more grilled and it would have been sandpaper. And yet, there were several parts where the chicken was STILL PINK. It wasn’t cooked! My friend’s grilled chicken was the same way! How do you have a piece of chicken that’s way too dry in most parts and yet other parts aren’t cooked all the way? What a disaster! I swear, I don’t even want to know what’s going on in that back kitchen. I have a feeling that if Gordon Ramsey filmed an episode of Kitchen Nightmares he’d really rip into some people and chuck everything in the garbage.. So please, for your own health and safety, please just be weary of the chicken you get here, whether it be grilled, fried or other (at this point there may we’ll be an “other” option with these guys, who knows?).
Raegan L — Google review
Absolutely terrible, the chicken breast was dry and had no taste at all, and also stiff, the fries were wierd balls and felt uneven and uncooked. The prices are high and the later we found out she made a mistake and charged us for more expensive enteree that we did not take. Also, there are lack of tables and the place is noisy. Just avoid it.
Meged S — Google review
The chicken sandwich was pretty darn good to my shock. It was a real chicken breast, not a processed patty. But the star of the show for me were the tots: crispy, yet soft on the inside, fresh, and salted properly. I created my own buffalo chicken sandwich by asking for buffalo sauce in a bowl, and then once seated, coating the chicken breast in the sauce. I then added blue cheese dressing on top. Voila! I'm a pickle fanatic, so it was a bummer there were none available. Overall: great value for the size of the combo, $15. Universal Studios has really upgraded the quality of food in the quick service areas. I don't mind spending money to make my tummy happy.
Reka T — Google review
When you are visiting Springfield at Universal Studio, you must listen to Homer Simpson, who says “You don’t win friends with salad.” Unless your friend is a vegetarian or vegan, I kind of agree with him. Inside the Springfield, they have rides, games, funny statues, stores, and yes, eateries. They have a quick-service or “fast food” items available at Simpsons Fast Food Blvd. It is actually a fun spot to visit. We visited Krusty Burger, Moe's, and Cletus Chicken Shack. No matter which one you chose, everyone has to get in a same line. Once you get to the ordering counter, you order from the right side, and pick up at the left side of the counter. From here, we ordered Chicken & Waffle Sandwich. Chicken & Waffle Sandwich comes with fried chicken breast between two waffles with maple syrup mayo & tater tots. Now, let me tell you, the photo on the menu looked really, really good. I mean, really. When we received the actual item, looking much different from the photo, we were a bit disappointed, but then again, we are here at Fast Food Blvd, should not come here with a high expectation on food quality, both in presentation and flavor. Regardless, it was a fun experience to have food here at Fast Food Blvd. Read my full review of the food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful brunch experience, Dolce Thornton Park is your go-to destination. This charming eatery serves up an impressive array of brunch dishes every day until 6 PM, making it ideal for those who crave breakfast at any hour. Indulge in their mouthwatering desserts and savor favorites like French toast, waffles, and crepes.
So if you’ve seen this cute little Italian restaurant on Central street, what you might not know is they have an amazing breakfast offering. Nothing beats sitting in the cool morning having coffee watching the world go by. Food was delicious, service was delightful and ambience? Well, my first trip to Rome and my first meal was at a cafe on a side street that looked exactly like where I am sitting right now outside at Dolce. I recommend you and a friend find yourself on this quiet little stretch across from Lake Eola.

I'm not sure where to begin. The location was good. However, the interior decor left much to be desired with its rather unusual theme. Opting for an outdoor seat seemed like a better choice. I ordered an iced latte, but what they served didn't taste like coffee and had a burnt flavor. I had to send it back. But the disappointments didn't stop there. We also ordered the toasted avocado, but it was far from being toasted, and the overall taste was less than satisfying. Then came our waffles with fruits and pancakes. It's challenging to articulate, but the flavors were oddly bland and uninspiring. Overall, it was a rather underwhelming experience. We ended up eating only a small portion of our meal, mainly because we were hungry, not because the food was enjoyable. It's safe to say that the culinary experience fell short of our expectations, and we left with a sense of disappointment.
Aidana B — Google review
Where to begin... Well, it's Thornton Park. It's a kitschy little spot with a beautiful view. The name and the photos really didn't prepare us for the interior views. It had some nice touches but it was lacklustre at best. Just a few tables that might seat 25 people inside and maybe another 20 outside. Would be game-changing to sit outside on a good day and enjoy the view. The day I went was quite hard even though we went for breakfast. Our service was perfect. The fruit flies were not. We struggled with them the entire time. Pleasant, average, nothing to write you mom about with their mimosa flights. Notable mention: The crepe platter. On their website it has the option to make reservations but it was empty when we went. I'm guessing the weekends are probably busier. Nothing stood out to me to make the trip here again. But I don't regret going.
Angie N — Google review
We were truly looking forward to a scrumptious breakfast and dessert after but we were disheartened by what we were served. Blah French Toast. Cold, hard, tasteless. Small amount of syrup given. Requested a little more and then got too much. Plus it was also cold. Cinnamon rolls were pretty and warm but also a disappointment. We initially held the menu in hopes of ordering desert after breakfast. After being disappointed so far we didn’t want to take the chance and waste any more food and time. Waitress forgot what I ordered as a drink. I just decided on water instead and receive water that tasted like chlorine. No offer of bottle water. While waiting, we observed a homeless person try to take some left overs off of another exterior table. He looked it over and left some of it behind. We should have taken that as a sign especially when whole pancakes and lots of food were left behind by the previous guests as well. We won’t be returning.
New M — Google review
Here for a birthday celebration and just stopped here in the off hour to get something to eat. This place is great and ambiance and menu items, french toast, waffles, crepes..... Great! The chocolate cappuccino with whipped cream on top is delicious. The chicken bacon brioche was great and just enough. Save room for desert because the menu is filled with delicious options too. Thanks Brooke for great service. Reminders of Europe with a 20's theme and nice 4 corners intersection view. Stop by for an all day brunch experience. RH.
Roger H — Google review
Ok experience. From the outside, the restaurant appears to be a little fancy, but once inside the waiter was wearing a very casual hoodie and the decor felt very homey. We ordered Prosecco and it came in large wine glasses and the desserts were way too sweet for my liking.
Heather T — Google review
Their mimosa special is good, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food I ordered (healthy bowl) was okay, and I wished it had a little more flavor or elaboration. Everyone else who ordered a sweet brunch (crepes, waffles) was very pleased with their meal. The place is very tiny, so there is minimal seating, and all the smoke from the kitchen stays there, so be ready to leave the place smelling like you've been grilling all day.
Gema N — Google review
I am very open to new places, but not good at all. The Avocado Toast, asked why it isn’t toasted. Was told yes it is. A breakfast bowl of a scrambled egg and some nasty looking salmon. Wow. Not coming back.
