This local diner was pleasantly satisfying and friendly inviting environment and the food was delicious as the wait times were not long and food was fresh coffee was great and refills were available very quickly. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a wholesome dining experience.

I've been going to Pegs for a long time. The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious ! I sat at the counter last Thursday. I had a great conversation with Crystal. ( I believe that was her name. ) She was very friendly and made my dining experience better that usual. I even went back yesterday with a friend of mine.

We spent a weekend in Reno for a concert but wanted to check out the local breakfast spot. This place appealed to me based on popularity and many locations. The diner is cute, and the food was highly rated. The husband had the meat lovers omelet, which was an omelet of the specials of the day. It was huge! Came with hash browns and UNLIMITED toast. They had white, wheat, and sourdough bread. The sourdough was amazing, and we learned it comes from a local bakery. Winning!! I had the made fresh Cornbeef hash with salted onions and peppers, topped with 2 eggs (however you like it), side of hash browns, and both wheat and sourdough toast. It is the known has the best and they did not disappoint. I ate the entire thing. The cornbeef hash was good with my over easy eggs. It was great topped on my toast. It was perfect with a bite of hash browns. The eggs Benedict on the menu are the local favorites. I am usually an Eggs Benedict type of girl, but I am so glad I diverted and tried something different!!! My belly was so happy! The service! If you go to this location, ask for Crystal (not sure of spelling). She always had a smile, and our coffee cups were never empty. We were seated right away when we arrived. We could tell it was a happening place because there were customers rolling in constantly. Tables were cleared quickly. Water cups were never empty. Great, great service and SO friendly. So if you want a great breakfast spot in Reno, either with family or friends or after a night of partying- this is the spot to go. And ask for Crystal!!!! Hats off to the cooks who were cranking out the food!! Delicious!
Carolyn E — Google review
The location is convenient to downtown. It has a friendly staff and portions of food are rather large. They provide quick friendly service. The food had great taste and glad we didn't order a side a pancakes as we originally thought. The pound ham was awesome and chile relleno as well. Highly recommend you try this local place, you won't be disappointed.
Leo G — Google review
Thank you Karolina for the service! Came out to celebrate a birthday received excellent service and food. The place gets busy but they do a great job at turning tables and getting you seat, food just might take a minute to get to the table. Will definitely come back next time time in town. Also forgot to mention, great prices!

In Reno for a basketball tournament and this breakfast place did not disappoint!! Friendly staff amazing food! Will go anytime we are in town.
Be I — Google review
Very mediocre. I had high expectations for this place due to the reviews here and a friend recommendation. The food portions are large, but that is just about it. My main complaint was the pancakes. They were very chewy and a little bit rubbery. The chili relleno plate was impressively big but quite flavorless. The eggs and bacon were done right, but nothing more than Denny's quality. Tbe loco moco beef patty was tasty, but it was swimming in excess brown sauce. So overall, the food is like Denny's, but without Denny's prices. Service was fine, friendly if you're a local. The dining room was basic, much like an old 50s diner that hasn't been remodeled. Prices have been raised from what my friends have known from eating here about a year ago. Parking garge and street parking is nearby. The front entrance was messy with carts full of plates and salt and pepper shakers.
The L — Google review
I’ll start with the server. She was great. Super nice, very friendly and attentive. Food: I got the chicken fried steak. It was probably the worst chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. It was a very processed food. The texture wasn’t even meat like, it was more like the consistency and texture of spam, but not pleasant. Gravy had good flavor, but didn’t help the chicken fried steak. I could only eat about half of the steak. I had stomach cramps about 15 minutes after leaving. Atmosphere: the restaurant was actually quiet, but the restaurant didn’t have a whole lot of people inside. I did notice, this is probably the most unclean peg’s I’ve been to in the Reno/Sparks area. If I had looked at the grill/cooking area before being seated I would have left and not ate at this restaurant.

Squeeze In is a vibrant local chain that has been serving up its signature omelets and other breakfast items since 1974. The Young family took over the original Truckee, CA location in 2003 and has since expanded to five locations across Northern Nevada and California. Known for its fun and eclectic atmosphere, Squeeze In offers an extensive menu featuring giant omelettes prepared in various ways, as well as American breakfast and lunch fare.
This was the cutest little place, outstanding service from the minute we walked in! They were packed, however, all employees were courteous and so friendly! The wait time was minimal. We got the Racy Tracy and the Spicy Spanish! Sourdough 🥖 bread, 💃🏻 salsa, mushroom 🍄 gravy…… I could go on and on! The decor was adorable!!!! What a fun place, would highly recommend 10 outta 10 🙌🏻 hands down!

Brunch Vibes at Squeeze In – Reno 🥓🍳🥪☕️ Just had an awesome brunch at Squeeze In and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the quirky, colorful decor—everything from firefighter helmets to Batman & Superman flying across the ceiling! 🦸‍♂️🚒 JR was our server and let me tell you—this guy was fantastic! Super friendly, knew the menu like a pro, and checked in with us to make sure we were loving everything (which we were). Service with a big smile goes a long way! She had the BLT Truckee—classic and delicious. I went for the Chipotle Eggs Benedict, which was amazing—those freshly poached eggs were totally worth the wait! They even brought us free cinnamon rolls to thank us for being patient (now that’s hospitality). I sipped on an Arnold Palmer iced tea and soaked in the good vibes. This place really gets brunch right. Highly recommend you stop in and say hey to JR if you’re in Reno. We’ll definitely be back! #SqueezeIn #RenoBrunch #EggsBenedict #SupportLocal #GreatService #FoodieFinds I just wanna add that the Eggs Benedict were masterly done definitely way worth waiting for.. So I went back to the kitchen to ask who made the eggs and this guy Caesar comes out. I just had to give him props on it cause they were perfectly poached eggs and that is something hard to do.

The food is so delicious here. They give you unlimited toast, we tried the sourdough & honey wheat and was very good. A little bit pricey, but worth it. Come hungry, portions are very generous. Service is great and friendly. 1000% recommended!!! If i could give 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ i would

Great food, fast service, amazing coffee and loved the music. What else could I asked for? Ordered two breakfast dishes, but the Huevos Montana standed out. A bit spicy, not overwhelming. They can accommodate gluten-free customers swapping the bread with corn tortillas.
Marcel L — Google review
Oh wow. This was a really bad visit. Well the staff were great but the food was inedible. Please see picture for reference. The toast was beyond burnt. How do you serve that?! And I think they’ve switched to an egg product. You can see the scrambled eggs and the omelet were not normal eggs. You can see how crumbly the scrambled eggs are. Kid wouldn’t eat it even with ketchup. Paid $30+ for an omelet and a kids meal. Both were unfortunately inedible. Well the bacon inside the Racy Tracy were fine.

Delicious breakfast and wonderful staff! Tyler our server was exceptional. Our hostess Jill was a pleasure on first greeting and very engaging.

We went two separate occasions with a group. We all loved the Reno Squeeze In. It has a down-to-earth homey feel, service was great, & the food and drink awesome. All the Mimosas are fabulous I'm sure. A few of us tried the Island Rum...it was Rum-alischous! For those that want to be creative and leave their mark, ask for their markers. We donated a very special sign and plan to re-visit as much as we can. Thank you...we had fun!!

Two Chicks is a trendy restaurant located in the revitalized neighborhood near downtown Reno. Owned by best friends Haley and Jessie, this industrial-chic eatery specializes in local, seasonal American breakfasts, sandwich melts, and salads. The menu focuses on brunch with offerings like mimosas and fresh coffee. Opened in 2014, Two Chicks serves elevated comfort food for breakfast and lunch, including omelets, Benedicts, quality breakfast meats, and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.
This is one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! I loved the white, sweet potato, with bell pepper and onions, my bacon was cooked exactly like I asked a little crispy. They have different flavored mimosas and breakfast drinks ! Service was fast, the waiters and waitresses continue to check on me and make sure my meal was good. They were very attentive! There was a little bit of a wait for a table, so I just set up at the bar, which was fabulous! I got to watch the cooks cook and I was amazed with one cook was so good. I definitely recommend breakfast here at two chicks.!
Shaina W — Google review
Tried out Two Chicks and had a solid experience overall. The food was good — nothing that totally blew us away, but definitely a satisfying meal. We appreciated the short wait for a table and the portion sizes. The atmosphere was casual and pleasant, and everything came out fresh and well-prepared. We’d recommend it if you’re looking for a good spot with decent food and efficient service.
Savanah E — Google review
Two Chicks was a perfect stop for brunch on me and my girlfriend’s road trip. The staff were quite friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. They had some really unique food and beverage options that were really good. Definitely be sure to ask the server about some of their menu options that they’d recommend. If you want a hearty brunch in Reno, this spot is a great option.
Eddy G — Google review
Two Chicks is a fun place to stop and grab either breakfast or lunch in Reno. They have a good selection of food to choose from. However they are particular in what they offer and you simply just eat it their way, which is odd. It’s hard to get anything customized the way you want it. The staff was quite friendly and did a great job of waiting on my table. Be warned the DO NOT HAVE RANCH or FRY SAUCE here. Haha. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months.
Nathan H — Google review
This place was very busy when we arrived, but we were able to sit at the bar area, and we got right in. The food was good. The over-medium eggs were definitely a little on a runny side and the sweet potatoes home fries were really good, but there were about 40% onions in the potatoes. The service was really good. I would absolutely go back and order the home fries with no onions, if that is an option. We will definitely go back here on our next trip to Reno.
Justin G — Google review
I did some research after waking up in the morning for a good breakfast spot nearby me and this place popped up, I told myself I have to give it a try and to see is it good or just hype. Upon arrival, there were a few people ahead of me, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. I then got seated and was greeted by their friendly staffs. They have a drink menu that consists of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Their main menu includes breakfast, skillets, omelettes, benedicts, sandwiches, salads, a kid’s menu and much more. I just went with the breakfast since I was craving for it. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where it made my visit a pleasant one. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent breakfast/brunch spot, if you are looking to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I will be back to tryout the other options they have to offer.
Alzila — Google review
A great place for brunch in Reno. The best poutine I've ever had outside of Canada. There's a wait to get seated for brunch, but it's worth it and they have a bar outside for you to grab a drink while you wait. The chilaquiles are just ok though.
Alex S — Google review
It was quite busy for a Sunday, and we waited about half an hour for a table. The restaurant is pretty small with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the veggie omelette and the sourdough pancakes combo (with eggs and bacon on the side). The veggie omelette was good but a bit bland and could’ve used some salt. The pancakes were tasty, but the bacon wasn’t very crispy, and the eggs were also bland both could’ve been cooked a little longer. The coffee is local, but it didn’t taste like coffee at all. It honestly seemed like maybe hot water was added into the pot instead of brewing a fresh one. The water also tasted off almost like thickened water I’m not sure why, but it definitely didn’t taste right. On the positive side, the service was absolutely fantastic. Our server kept checking in on us and refilling drinks, and the FOH staff were very kind when we entered and left. Overall, I’d give this place another try and might check out their 2nd location down the street.

Roundabout Grill is a chic and sophisticated New American eatery located at the Whitney Peak Hotel in Downtown Reno. It was originally known as Roundabout Bistro, which quickly became a local favorite before expanding to include a market for locally sourced products. The restaurant's menu changes seasonally and incorporates global influences into classic American comfort food. With its elegant and local twist, it offers an upscale and classy brunch experience.
My mom and I had dinner here on our first night in town. It was so wonderful! Not very busy, even on a Saturday night. There was a large party in the front room, but the hostess was kind enough to seat us far away from the crowd, which we really appreciated. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable and personable. We both had cocktails that were really tasty. The dinner salad was beautiful, and so much flavor! Strawberries, dried cranberries, pears, fresh butter lettuce, feta, with a tasty white vinaigrette. It was a meal in itself. We both had the house-made pasta, which was also delicious and rich. The portions were generous, enough leftovers for another meal. Overall a great experience! Prices were reasonable for the high-quality food, cool atmosphere and great service. Will definitely be back.

It's a very NICE/ fancy restaurant to go with your family, friends, bf/gf. Menus are great also!!! (Pics). If you live or are visiting Reno it's a Go to place. ((Although we had a little $30, hiccup in our check, which wasn't ours... reminding us to Always check our bill before pay ;) )) Overall, the place is Beautiful, great food.

Stopped for lunch. Great food and large portions. Price was mid range. Not excessive for what we got. Good selection of food. Burgers, salads, pasta and more. Wonderful atmosphere. Great decor.
K N — Google review
Underwhelming. Found this place on the list of best brunches for Reno. Showed up at 8:30 on a Saturday morning expecting brunch but all they had was a regular breakfast menu (brunch doesn't start until 10, this was not detailed on their website). Ordered the Colin's special with a hot tea. The chicken used was dark meat and the eggs didn't look like egg whites, but it tasted OK. Nothing to rave about. Quick service and nice ambience.

Prepare yourself for a long review, I take 5 stars very seriously! I booked the Roundabout Grill for a bachelorette party and had the absolute best experience all around. Booking the event was seamless and the event planner Erin was super responsive, on top of all the details and was very flexible with our needs. We had a last minute change in head count that per the contract they didn't have to accommodate but they did with no problem which was above and beyond. The three course group menu had lots of great choices and is a bargain at just under $50 per person with food, tax, gratuity and a small fee for our big party. Lots of wine by the bottle choices as well that are priced appropriately. Food was great, I wish we had taken more pictures! The kale salad and tuna poke cups were the stars of the show! We had steak, salmon and chicken and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Desert was a really nice berry crime brûlée which was a perfect ending to the meal. Service was really outstanding, drinks were always being filled, the course were nicely timed and the dinner was so seamless. This is a really great choice for large parties in Reno.

Perfect meal! The pork chop was large, juicy, tender, and flavorful. The fried rice was delicious. Bok choy a nice, bitter addition. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing (I think she might have been new as she was verbally and visually greatful for an easy one-top). The price was more than reasonable.

Great Full Gardens, located in Midtown Reno, offers a focus on fresh and organic vegetables, providing a variety of vegetarian dishes from around the world, including delicious Indian options. The restaurant's emphasis on healthy and tasty plant-based food makes it an ideal choice for those looking for a satisfying meal. In addition to their diverse menu, Great Full Gardens also features 'Gino the Soup Man' soups, with offerings like the rotating soup of the day and Totally Tomato soup.
"Walked into a packed house, but was pleasantly surprised to get a table and order quickly. Allen handled my **Seared Ahi** order flawlessly and made sure everything was perfect. The staff truly shines, being **super friendly and very helpful** even when overwhelmed. A great experience overall!"

I am visiting this state and was referred to this restaurant as I was looking for a healthier place for lunch. The Teriyaki Bowl I ordered looked great and tasted acceptable. I did not mind as I did not know what to expect. The only negative aspect is that when ordering a bowl, they do not make it clear that the cost of the meat is an additional $8-$10. However, the service was exceptional, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is also very cool, with a unique setup and decoration. I might consider returning to try a different dish if I am ever back in the area.
Joser V — Google review
Tucked into the bustling Sparks Outlets, Great Full Gardens lives up to its name with a cheerful atmosphere, warm service, and food that hits all the right notes. Our group of four stopped in on a slow afternoon and were greeted with a space that was not only welcoming but refreshingly bright and spacious—ideal for a relaxed lunch. The calmness of the day gave us a chance to really enjoy the vibe, chat without raising our voices, and take in the thoughtful design of the space. The service was genuinely spot on. Friendly without being overbearing, attentive without hovering—the kind of balanced hospitality that makes you feel looked after without being fussed over. And the food? Absolutely delectable. From the first bite to the last sip, everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. There’s a clear emphasis on quality ingredients and a menu designed to please a variety of palates. Impressed by our first visit, we returned on a different day just for coffee—and the contrast was striking. The space was now buzzing, completely filled with patrons, a true testament to the restaurant's popularity. Still, despite the crowd, the service didn’t skip a beat. Our coffees were just as enjoyable as our meals had been, crafted with care and perfect for a mid-day pause. Great Full Gardens has a way of making you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time through the door. It’s the kind of place you walk away from feeling better than when you arrived—not just full, but genuinely grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh, vibrant spot with top-notch service and consistently delicious offerings.

Stopped here for a snack and drink to cool off after a morning of shopping. The staff were kind and friendly, and the food was delicious! I had a strawberry lemonade and one liege waffle, while my companion had a cucumber lemonade and a vegan desert cup (cappuccino flavored). Everything was so good! It was noisy inside so we chose to sit outside on the patio under an umbrella. It was hot but much quieter. Very happy with my experience!
Siera S — Google review
Ordered the reuben. For $18, I was expecting more. Tasted average. Sauerkraut was good. Came with a pickle. And cold quinoa. Again, average. Also ordered the vetata. Didn't really like it. It was like soup with chucks of tofu. Lacked flavor.

Nice restaurant with good choice of not fat food(they do have that too), I took a burger with side dish nice green salad instead of fattening potatoes. Good beer options and good service. Too bad there aint more of these restaurants. Only bad thing was only 2 toilets compare restaurant size.

I can always expect the best flavors and quality ingredients. I got the Pesto Caprese Melt (- tomoatoes, + grilled chicken). And a Pressecco cocktail. Price came out to about $40 (before tip), which was high imo for lunch and a happy hour cocktail, but I have never been disappointed.

The Purple Parrot is a contemporary 24-hour diner located at the Atlantis. Despite its casual appearance, it offers impressive service with dedicated staff members for drink orders, food orders, and serving. The brunch menu features outstanding mimosas and savory pancakes alongside classic American dishes like ham and cheese omelets with hash browns. While the prices are considered slightly high, the quality of food justifies it. The restaurant also serves dinner with good but pricey steak options and tender chicken fried steak.
First time coming here, staff was super nice. Got seated right away and food came quickly. Very yummy carnitas burrito and chips with salsa. Definitely recommend!

Ideally placed, the good was good, service was not as good as some other places locally but it was still cool. We ordered breakfast, and dinner foods, went multiple times over several days and the value was excellent. Food was better than some of the more pricier venues in the area, so we were definitely pleased with our experience. The fried chicken was good according to my wife, I ordered the nachos with chicken, 🤌🏾🤌🏾, delicious. Also had the pancake sandwich for breakfast the n3zt morning and it hit the spot perfectly.

We ordered Carne Asada, French Toast with Fruit and Sweet Savory Combo. We like that they offer fresh fruit and fresh-squeezed orange juice. It's convenient for hotel guests that we don't have to drive somewhere for breakfast.

I added chicken to my nachos and it gave it that extra flavor! Serving size is quite big. The burger was delicious. It was charred broiled as well as the chicken! The junior portions were surprisingly normal sized meals. The pasta was good and my daughter finished it all. It is served with garlic bread. My other daughter had a burger and she loved it as well. No complaints. Dahlia was our server and she is great. The other 2 staff members were great as well. No waiting time to be seated. The food did take a while but it was worth the wait. It is a little high priced in my opinion BUT they were good meals. Would definitely come again.

Awesome food and Nikesh our server was outstanding. Told him we wanted to share an omelette and he brought it out already separated for us. And the food had amazing flavor (best biscuits and gravy I have had outside of the southern states). Definitely recommend!

Great food always. Kinda limited selection late night to early morning. Had a small issue with our phone in order in which our steak wasn't cooked to our specifications.....however, the manager and cashier handled the situation with professionalism and apologized sincerely. Remade our steak and also gave us a complimentary slice of cheesecake for our troubles and their mistake. Can't see any reason to complain about that! And the cheesecake was absolutely DELICIOUS! The one issue that I personally have a problem with is the distance between this restaurant and your hotel rooms. They are on completely opposite sides from one another! Its very annoying and inconvenient especially if you are visiting and staying with a young child in your family! Wish there was a way to close the gap a little more! Regardless, this is my favorite resort in Reno hands down! Thx all for making locals feel like they are just as welcome as others coming from out of town. That doesn't happen anywhere else that I'm aware of, UNFORTUNATELY!

Open around the clock, this casual cafe offers a diverse menu featuring everything from flavorful Pad Thai to generous portions of chow mein and fried rice loaded with shrimp, beef, chicken, and pork. The recent remodel has given it a fresh and inviting atmosphere that enhances your dining experience.
Laxmi made me feel like a Queen at breakfast. I am traveling alone and felt like I was with family. She oozes confidence, charisma and gave me the best service anywhere in Reno. I enjoyed the Casino Breakfast so much, I finished my plate and ordered another one to go!

The food is generally good and the portions are large. Prices are moderate. I hate the beef and broccoli. It lacked any Asian spices or flare. The Asian chopped chicken salad was very tasty.

Our Server Phrem took very excellent care of our service. The food was delicious. I had the penne vodka pasta. 🍝 it was so yummy 😋 and the portions are huge. You get what you pay for here.

Good food and ambience. We ordered for seafood pasta and were served meatball pasta by mistake. On telling the server, he was prompt in rectifying and getting the correct pasta again. We ordered Baked potatoes with pulled pork, chicken tikka masala with rice, California club sandwich and chicken quesadilla.
Ashwini J — Google review
Food was good, Ordered two dishes, one salmon and one kung pao. Kung Pao couldn’t have been made better. Salmon was also good, only reason it’s 4 stars is because we got broccoli with the fish, and requested it to be changed but was responded with a hard no, which isn’t a huge deal but higher tier restaurants like this should honor these request like a hot knife through butter. Other than that, hospitality was rather on point, and cleanliness was in line. Would recommend overall

Food looks nice but was garbage. Service was below mid. I only got a Caesar salad and ate 2 bites. Chicken was dryer than eating 2 dozen of Popeyes biscuits with no drank. My man got himself some general chicken that was eh. Never got refills. And took like 20 mins to get the check after I pushed my plate to the edge, still completely full bowl of salad. When the waiter finally came with the check. Didn’t even ask how the food was or offer to take of the nasty salad. It’s a hard pass for me.

The Stone House Café is a charming eatery located in a converted early-1900s Craftsman-style bungalow made of river rock. This family-owned café offers a diverse menu of New American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Diners can enjoy their meals indoors surrounded by retro rock posters or outdoors on the patio adorned with lush greenery. The café has won multiple awards and is known for its romantic ambiance and fascinating history.
We had a lovely evening for dinner on the last day of school June 6. Outdoor seating was so beautiful in terms of the decor and beautiful plants and flowers. Serena and her staff are always polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Three out of the five of us had the scallops, crab and shrimp pasta. It smelled divine! (I am allergic to shellfish so no tastes for me! Pasta and seafood were plentiful and yet...no leftovers! :) For appetizers, we had the calamari which was so light and tender, the classic escargo and the garlic butter sauce required to servings of bread to go with it, and I had the Gazpacho- which is my fav thing to eat this time of year. My husband had the seafood Louie and...there was nothing left of the enormous dish! I had the salmon Cesar and it was definitely medium and so grateful they did not overcooked it. It had a lovely sear and was a great compliment to the handmade dressing. No one had enough room for dessert...but if they would have...I would choose the bread pudding! Yum!

Found on Yelp! Staying at Silver Legacy, Reno, NV. Wanting to get out of town. Found this cute restaurant! Tried their hash brown, loved their crepes and spinach eggs benedicts.. Servers were right on! Will be back in 4 months!!

The food is always good, tamales are made there and lattes and french toast are always good too. Sometimes you need to park on the street because parking can be tight and they get busy and stay busy so I recommend getting a reservation during peak times. Indoor and outdoor seating is nice and the service is always polite, though can sometimes be understandably delayed during really busy times.

Food is good. Fresh. Service is good. Responsive. If there's one thing this restaurant could improve on, it's the dreadful music that plays in an incessant loop. Try Spotify, would ya?

This place is a must try! I don't say this often, but I am doing it now. Trifecta! 1- Amazing service, fun staff and very knowledgeable. 2- Absolutely beautiful outdoor patio. We did not go inside so can't say about that. 3- Delicious food at a great price and large portions. That is what I call a perfect trifecta!! We met some.friends for brunch so we had breakfast items. I am not sure what they ordered so I can't say but there dishes looked amazing and they we very happy. I ordered the Biscuit Diablo and was so happy with it. Not real spicy, just the right amount. Delicious house made biscuits! This place has such a wide variety of food that there truly is something here for everybody. Come check it out you won't be disappointed!
Brian W — Google review
Hadn’t been there in over a year. We were initially seated in a ‘hallway’ near the kitchen. Dingy and very unattractive! Asked to move to the porch as the outdoor seating was closed. Heaters were blasting so we asked to have them turned down. Food was very average and quite pricey. ‘Homemade’ corn chip appetizer was fried corn tortilla chips and hardly homemade. The pomegranate sauce on my lamb was too thick and overly sweet. Medium well was definitely well done. My daughter’s Thai style sauce on her salmon was ridiculously sweet and had to be scraped off. Fish and chips was good. Needless to say, we won’t be returning anytime soon. Their attempt at fine dining misses the mark with heavy sauces that do nothing but detract from the main protein. Tasteless side vegetables certainly could be stepped up. A complete waste of money and a disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

We had been wanting to experience dining at the stone house cafe for a while, but every time we attempted to go they were packed with people. That told is it had to be good food. We were not disappointed with our dining here. The wait staff were excellent, the food was very very good, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We will definitely go again.
Adam V — Google review
Food was excellent, but the Hostess ignored myself and others waiting to put name on waitlist. Told 30 minutes which was fine on a busy Sunday. 1 hour goes by and we see people come in with no reservations and get seated. Go inside to inquire and ignored by hostess again. Finally we are told we are next after waiting for hostess to acknowledge us. Hostess calls our name and says to take table by front door to left which we did. Server comes to table and rudely asks if we are seating ourselves since there is a waitlist. Place is cute but come on, be courteous and attentive to the paying customer whether you're busy or not. There are plenty of good places to eat with better customer service!

A very nice and rustic diner. Typically American and very rural. Very good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are very nice and attentive. The local guests are also very nice and always ready for a chat. The ambience is very nicely furnished. Unfortunately, the toilets are not as clean as you would expect. There is a large selection of food and drinks, so everyone should find something. It is definitely a must to have eaten here once in the city.

I guess Black Bear Diner is a chain, but we don't have any back east. It was awesome! They have thick cut bacon and it is very tasty and smoky. The hash browns, something about the way they cut them like shoelaces lent itself to them being really crispy and wonderful. And the pancake! It was one of the best pancakes I've EVER tasted! A word of warning about the sausage. When they say hot sausage, they mean HOT sausage. 🔥 It was a really good breakfast place with reasonable prices and excellent food.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. Breakfast and dinner portions are all a good size. I always take half of mine home. The food is cooked great not dry or greasy. The hostess is very sweet and the host has a great sense of humor. The wait staff couldn't ask for any better. The ladies are always fun, joking, but are busy and do their job well taking care of their customers. If you want somewhere friendly and good food go to this place and see for yourselves. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/26 just adding breakfast photos too.

Black Bear Diner’s food and dining room really impressed me. I had a fantastic lunch here. They open early and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day. I was really into the beautiful dining room as I entered. There was a small gift shop at the entrance where many cute items were available. Their menu was printed on a newspaper with a few fun facts about the chain restaurant. Service was amazing and WiFi was fast. I ordered their crispy fried chicken with gravy. It tasted authentic and delicious. The size was great with decent sides. The gravy tasted phenomenal with mashed potatoes and chicken. Their signature bbq sauces were unlimited but they tasted too strong for me. The entrees’ price was amazing. Their desserts looked attractive too. I heard it was an Oregon brand. It definitely deserves more places around the country.

Nostalgic! Food was Incredible - Get the onion rings - they are battered to perfection and delicious. We ate here after having a terrible experience at a casino café - so glad that we found this little gem. The wife and I are trying to visit every breakfast restaurant in the Reno/Sparks area. Mel's was next on our list. Mel's diner is located in the Sands casino/resort. Just a few blocks from the"Row". While it is an easy walk from the "Row", we live in the area and drove. Big parking lot. Mel's interior is 1950's diner. Lots of photos from the movie American Graffiti. I also loved the jukebox on the table. It's been decades since I have seen/used one. I would say that the interior is a bit campy but fun to look at. The server and wait staff were excellent. Quick on order taking, delivery of food, refill of beverages and clearing of tables. Today, our server actually took the time to answer some questions about the local area. Very impressive. The food is typical diner fare. Heavy on the carbs and large portions. Vegans need not apply. Since we are older, diner fare does appeal to taste buds.

Food and service was great. Very affordable food. Great price! Had a prime rib and lobster tail dinner for only 17.99. If you want steak and eggs, only 9.99. Conveniently located and short walking distance from casino in reno. Only downside, it's a little confusing finding it inside their casino and the place seems a little sketch/ ghetto. Can't beat the price though. Was worth it.

Price for food is appropriate compared to how Reno is. Makes it a 5 star. Know what you're expecting. Got steak and eggs breakfast menu. Enough for me and wife to have a snack. Enough for one person for sure. Coffee is 3.49, not worth it. The diner is an old atmosphere, not renovated but don't worry it's still good.

$9.99 steak and eggs ! Totally worth it ! The restaurant was nice and clean during my stop for breakfast, the waitress was nice and attentive. The steak was cooked just right 😋 I can't complain.

All around this is a 2 star place. It was my first time at top deck and definitely my last. The service is 2 star, the quality of the food is 2 star. I ordered a shrimp/ steak combo… the shrimp were deep fried ( you cannot mess that up) the steak on the other hand was not edible, because it was rare and I asked for MEDIUM rare. Anyways, I took it home ( since they charged me for it) and cooked it some more with onions and eggs.

The service is outstanding. Food is pricey. It is Fresh and they have a lot to choose from. Saying that, my husband didn’t really like his food either time we ate there. He shared some of his bacon from his BLT and I didn’t care for it and I’m a huge bacon lover. I did like my food better the second time around. We didn’t care for the pastries and wasted them. Maybe the food was just too fancy for us. The melon was pretty amazing!

Old fashion diner with great service and yummy food. We were in Reno visiting family and had brunch there. It feels like an old fashion diner that brings me back to my college days. We were seated immediately and the service was great. They serve you a very generous portion with quality on par with similar type of diners. Coffee is a little on the weak side but acceptable. I had steak and eggs but my son's rib eye was more tender and I recommend that. Biscuit and gravy is great definitely a high light. A good casual diner that worth a visit.

Came here despite not being sold on the atmosphere. The server was great, super friendly staff. The ribeye 14lb I had was the second best streak I've eaten out! (like no joke). The garlic fries where also amazing. A friend had peanut and banana milkshake was amazing! Over all the staff, food taste and portion makes up for the lack of atmosphere. Highly recommend.

It’s changed… for the better! We used to go here regularly, but last year the food got steadily worse. However, we decided to try it again, and the quality has *greatly* improved! Our server, Reen, was friendly and efficient and Tomas made sure that our coffee was always full. The chicken fried steak is fabulous and even the signature chocolate pistachio cake is back its yummy goodness. (Okay, the weird aluminum serving pans instead of plates that they use for lunch are off-putting, but I can live with it if the food is good.) Overall, it seems to be back to the good, solid comfort food that it used to be. Between that and the fantastic staff, it’s a great place again!

We’ve been coming here once a year for around six years. We loved the biscuits and browns, but unfortunately our last visit a few days ago was awful. The booth was horrible with huge holes that made it was super uncomfortable. The lady at the front seated us and it was like we were completely forgotten about!. Didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks until they came to take our order, and the food wasn’t very good. The gravy was nasty and flavorless.. Luckily we found a way better place not too far away. Go to “Two Chicks” you will not be disappointed!! Amazing food and service!. And the place is adorable!! We will not be going back to this restaurant during our future visits to this great city!.

My Server Trish was amazing, she kept checking on me to make sure that I was doing okay. Old classic dinner feel I’d call this place. It was a great first experience. I will definitely be coming back here when I’m in the area. They give you extra for your milkshake!!!! It’s like having two of them.

Four stars because the veggies in the omelet were chopped a bit too large for my liking and the hash browns weren’t seasoned well enough, but to each their own. Better than over-seasoned, that’s for sure. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was TOP-NOTCH. If you’re looking to get away from downtown, but not too far, Archie’s is a great choice!

Stop in after a long drive. Looked at the reviews and it got us Curious. We came to check it out for ourselves. Absolutely phenomenal. Hands down my go to spot when I drive through Reno. Burger super filling. Super full of flavor and the house sauce, a little spicy for me. but super tasty. Only downside is the burgers are so filling we couldn’t eat our sides.

Definitely geared towards the college crowd but at 930am on a Monday, nary a college student and filled with locals. Ordered a breakfast burger which was HUGE! Came with a fried egg and pineapple slice. Hand formed patty and a nice soft (likely potato) bun. Fries are epic! Fresh oil or tallow or whatever they fry them in these days. Next to campus and according to the menu, great happy hour and other specials for UNR students. I liked that they offer a 5% discount for cash buyers but they also offer a Scan2Pay option so you can use your mobile wallet. Reputation is well deserved.

I came in curious about the hype and left wondering why I waited so long to try this place. Archie’s is known for their burgers, but their breakfast deserves just as much love. Let’s talk about those Potatoes Ole. Crispy, cheesy, topped with fresh pico… they stole the whole show. I’d come back just for them. I also had the strawberry French toast, bacon, eggs, and a mimosa made with their fresh-squeezed orange juice. Fun fact: they squeeze both their orange and grapefruit juices daily, and it makes a real difference. The only thing I’d tweak? The eggs came as a scrambled mix which is totally fine, but next time I’ll ask for them fried. The staff was so welcoming, the vibe is family-friendly, and they serve breakfast until 2PM which is a win for late risers.

I went to enjoy a takeout burger, a garlic burger however, when I arrived, there was no garlic burger. It was instead of breakfast burger, or some other burger and politely asked for them to make the garlic burger, which they kindly agreed. Then quickly arrived my new garlic burger, and then I when I went home to enjoy it. It was like a turkey patty. I didn’t Even get the burger it was just a turkey patty not a half pound delicious beef patty so I’m very disappointed and heartbroken and I couldn’t even finish it kind of gross. Bruhhhhhhh

Warning, check your order before you leave. I ordered the not so big burger, the garlic fries and a Dr Pepper. I was charged $16.33 but didn't get a receipt to see if I got the 5% discount for paying cash. Upon arriving at home, I found out that I got regular fries not the garlic fries I ordered. I have no idea what I paid for and I didn't get what I ordered. Don't worry about it, I'm not recommending this place or coming back. Just thought you should know Thank you.

Nestled in Reno, Lili's Restaurant & Bar offers a delightful blend of classic American cuisine and island-inspired dishes, all served in a relaxed tropical atmosphere. This charming eatery is perfect for those craving Hawaiian flavors or simply looking to enjoy hearty meals with a twist. Guests have raved about the diverse menu options, including gluten-free and healthy choices that cater to various dietary preferences.
Okay so, firstly my wife and I were on a summer trip with our girls and after researching a bunch of places out in reno she heard of this place. So we stopped in to check it out, let me tell you it was very nice and the smells were amazing! We had an amazing experience here the food was great with a bunch of flavor, the servers were great and the atmosphere was even better. The only thing I can say which really was odd to me was the fact that for myself and my wife alone was over 60 bucks, then add in my daughter who only had a kids meal and that was pricey! Overall we spent over 80$ just for 3 of us and when we looked at the receipt we were charged refills for everything! Like black coffee they have on tap was 3 bucks a pop and with 3 refills me thinking they're free was 9 bucks. Then an orange juice which was from a container and poured into a cup 3 bucks each so another 9 bucks so to me was super expensive, Honestly won't probably return, I'd recommend this place but to only those who are willing to pay top dollar for decent food 😉

Food was decent, service was trash. People matter, you caring about your tables matter. You don’t have to cater to every detail, but you did sign up to cater to the basics: taking order, checking in a few times, bringing the check, refilling water with a small splash of small talk. IF you want full deets, see below. Experience/Environment: Entering and getting seated was awesome. Quick, no wait, hostess in Bosa jersey was nice. Overall wouldn’t be terrible if the service after wasn’t. We were constantly waiting.. - 5-10 Mins | Waiting for someone to take our drink order. - Our waitress Lilinoe stopped by for 30 seconds and said she’ll be right with us. - Add 10-15 Mins | Bus boy came and said he’s not our waiter but will help take our order. - Another 15-20 Mins for food to come. At this point we’re pretty committed. - Food comes, missing our toast. She said she’ll be right back with it. Doesn’t come back. - Did a run by asking if everything is ok, we said cool but still missing toast. She said she forgot but will get it. Asked us what toast we ordered. - Came back with toast, three orders of toast but bc two of them were sourdough, those were in a bowl together, and one piece of white toast on plate. We asked for an extra plate. - Another 15-20 Mins we’re done eating, plate never came. We need a box and check…We asked another waiter if he can grab our waitress for us. We see her (Lilinoe) walking past multiple times avoiding eye contact but never stops. - I get up and head to the host desk and ask for a box and check. And told the girl my last bullet. Lilinoe walks up —I’m guessing because she sees me up there— I repeat what I just told the hostess including saying we see her walking past our table multiple times and not stopping to her. She says “Wow, that’s crazy, I can get it right now”. Unsure exactly what was “crazy” other than her service but I’m guessing to her, it was crazy because I confronted her. - No beverages were refilled at this 1hr to 1.5hr visit. Price: Reasonable aside $8.50 for 4 pieces of bacon lol. Portions were a pretty good size too. Food: Pretty good. My omelette was good, I added Tabasco and it was even better. I never had an omelette with rice at a restaurant but love that bc the Hawaiian fusion, rice as a side was an option. Waffle was fluffy. Pancakes were good too I hear. Don’t have the full skinny on the polish sausage but didn’t hear any complaints either. Service: Trash. See above lol. NTT [[Next Time Try]]: I really wanted to try the garlic shrimp but I’ll likely pass. On that and this restaurant. Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see you out there!

Food was cooked ok, didn't have much flavor for being Hawaiian,Should have been a little hotter temperature wise in my humble opinion. Service was OK. Was seated fast. The coffee was good. I loved that they had lots of natural lighting. The place was busy. Price was average

I had the chicken fried steak for breakfast and it was pretty overdone. Hashbrowns were only Soso. The gravy not the best flavor I’ve ever had. But the people were very friendly. And the Ryebread they had for toast was delicious.

I went here on a Saturday afternoon around 12pm. As sons as we got in, we were greeted and seated right away. The girl sat us down and got us our drinks. First, what I would like to say about the place, I couldn’t tell who worked there or not. Everyone is just dressed in casual clothes. After we’re seated, they said our waiter would be with us shortly, but it was about a 10-15 minute wait. I was disappointed with the other staff not helping us or offering any reassurance with where our waiter was. I was mad about this because the tables after us were being helped first. Once our waiter arrived, he apologized for the inconvenience and everything. We ordered the Loco Moco and Bento Box Platter. The Loco Moco was prefect! You can order your meat patty however you want. It came with the side of macaroni salad as well. For the Bento Box, everything was great except the sliced beef. The best thing there was the crack chicken. It was fried and seasoned perfectly. I got the sliced beef, but it was pretty salty. Besides that, everything was great. The prices for the dishes are about $15-$20. This is a good price for the decent portions you get. The only thing I didn’t like about the place was the service. Everything else is great.
ChefABoy — Google review
Good variety of American food with the Hawaiian staple as well. Service was excellent and very attentive, which we were a bit surprised considering how busy they were. Our drinks were never empty and i get thirsty when eating. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu
Robert J — Google review
Very big place with good customer service. The food itself is okay and a bit bland for island food. I had the "crack" fried chicken bowl. The chicken was tough, chewy, and bland. I upgraded to the Hawaiian fried rice and regretted it as soon as I tasted it and the "Portugese sausage" it came with. Too salty, too sweet, and the ingredients seemed like they were all prepackaged and had been sitting for a while. I will not be back, and I do not recommend it.
Matt J — Google review
The customer service is fabulous and the food is amazing! The food always comes out fresh and they definitely check on you when need be! Stopped in to try them out, and it was good. I'm not huge on coffee but sampled my hubby's mocha and it was amazing. My veggie wrap took quite awhile to arrive but nevertheless it was also very fresh and tasty. I took a dessert to go and it was very rich and delightful. Definitely would've paired well with one of their hot coffees. Overall vibe is very chill. A walk-up to kind of spot since parking is wherever you can find on the street. Not a big deal, since it's in a pedestrian friendly area just something to keep in mind.

An unexpected pleasure though quite expensive. The sandwiches were savory and crispy, and the cookies were delightfully sweet. The interior aesthetics bring out a clean yet rustic feel.

They really have perfected their cheesecake recipe here. The base crust has been consistently outstanding. They get away with many different types cheesecakes solely on their perfect cheesecake preparation. Texture wise, they are soft and creamy but firm enough to hold its shape while you dig in with every bite. I visit often and continue to be delighted by their cheesecakes.

Delicious! Stopped in before my flight, and glad I did. The croissant is freshly baked, and the egg scramble warm and tasty. The mocha was half sweetened like I requested and is large and yummy. Staff were all smiles and welcoming and they have a lovely outside patio where you can hear the birds sing while you enjoy your meal. Recommended!

Sunrise Cafe is a popular breakfast spot known for its great homemade food and unique dishes, including a wide variety of egg benedicts. Despite being busy with a wait, the service is fast and orders are accurate. The atmosphere is quiet and the wait staff is polite and friendly. The portions are huge, making it worth the price, and the food presentation is beautiful. While some dishes like corn beef hash were tasty but slightly dry, others like omelettes were cooked to perfection.
My steak omelette had lots of real steak- they grilled a great strip steak then cut it into juicy strips to go in the omelette. The Reuben looked really good too.

Pros: Very good food and large portions. Friendly staff. Con: $.80 service fee for credit card. They charged me $1.50 extra for a biscuit even though it states on menu biscuit or toast included w/omelet. When I pointed this out, waitress still did not reimburse me. She said it used to be stated on menu. Waitress forgot my coffee. I had to ask for it.
Brandy B — Google review
We’ve been there maybe 10 times now and the food has always been consistent as has the service. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s definitely worth it for the food and to support local. The one thing I would change though is the decoration. There is so much potential for nice decorating. There is a huge wood bar back, with a few glasses on it but primarily seems to be used for storage. I’ve been in there and they’ve been half empty boxes worse than that though to me personally is the delicious selection of fake flowers. There’s even a cowboy boot style vase, which has Christmas decor of some sort inside of it to me fake flowers just collect dust dirt and grime. It doesn’t help when none of them match. I will also say the last time we went I used the restrooms for the first time And they could definitely do with a fresh lick of paint and new caulking around the toilet. None of this will stop me going, but my goodness I wish I could get my hands on it because I could really make it beautiful.

Honestly sub par for a breakfast joint. Service is slow, they don’t understand “over easy”, and everything else is served with a clear hot side. Toast was only toasted on the far edge, bacon was crisp on the one end, the coffee is terrible. I won’t be returning.

Loved this gem. four of us had chicken sandwich biscuits so good that we came back for breakfast the next day. We had brisket biscuit sandwiches and chicken pimento sandwich and wedgie chicken biscuit. Everyone loved them. Breakfast was a treat with absolutely wonderful shrimp and grits and Cornmeal Blueberry Pancakes. Our only criticism was more blueberries please (who doesn’t want more blueberries). Super lovely restaurant with full ceiling to floor windows. Great service and loved how they seated us. I would come here everyday if I was not watching my weight.

Killer breakfast food!! Service here was fantastic-- you order at the counter, but the servers still come around and check up on you to see if refills are needed, etc. Everything we ordered was delicious. My blueberry cornmeal pancakes were perfection -- the texture was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. While they were pretty sweet, I absolutely loved them even if I wasn't able to finish my meal completely (the portions here are very generous haha). My family's various biscuits and gravy dishes were also fantastic. The gravy was flavorful, the biscuits were fluffy, and the portions were once again very generous. If you're hungry and craving a big hearty breakfast, Pine State Biscuits is a great call.

Pay first, then you are seated. Know your order when you get to the counter. I had the biscuit and gravy, with an over easy egg on top. It was fabulous. The food was so very good. The vibe was great as well. Coffee was off the charts good, and tasted like Porland Oregon, a rainy fall day helped the vibe as well. I have been wanting to eat here for a while and glad I got the time to do so. Our food was fast too like less than 6 minutes after we ordered. So if you want to eat fast this place has that figured out! They do a great job, you a should eat here.

The Moneyball biscuit and gravy was the best I’ve had in a long time. The over easy egg was the icing on the biscuit. I spoiled myself and also ordered one blueberry pancake and had to take a nap after riding my bike back across the river. I will be going back..soon. Service was great 👍🏼

There’s inside and outdoor seatings. Street parking is available near restaurant. The Reggie deluxe with shiitake gravy was creamy and delicious. The brisket biscuit was super duper dry. I’ve never had such dry meat like this one. There was no sauce besides mustard on the side. The Cajun fries were crispy golden brown and flavorful. The beignets was super dense. If it could be a little light in the dough, that would be perfect.

The gentleman working the day I had breakfast there, I think it was a thursday morning was so polite and gave such wonderful service. My family and I waited for about 30 minutes at this IHOP and never even got to place our drinks let alone order. There was only one other couple in the dining room besides us, but the cashier was struggling to process their payment and continued trying without success. Instead of taking our order while she worked through the issue, we were left waiting with no drinks, no food, nothing. After about half an hour we got up and left. If this is how service is run, I absolutely do not recommend coming here.

Came to IHOP with my daughter to get some breakfast. Our waitress did a good job and she seemed really nice. My bill was $34 and usually when my bill is that low I’ll just tip half the bill if I got good service however I only had 20s so I handed her 2 20s and I dug around in my purse looking for a smaller bills couldn’t find one. So I handed her another 20 and I asked her if she can break this into fives for me so that I can tip her. She then hands me $10. I’m sitting there extremely confused. still trying to be nice, I say “I’m sorry I’m not too good at math, but I don’t think that’s correct” And she immediately got an attitude with me and said “we can roll back the cameras” and everyone in this IHOP starts looking at me. It was extremely embarrassing. I know for a fact I gave her $60 I wouldn’t have given her $45 and asked for change. I would have just let her keep the extra five that doesn’t make any sense. I gave her an extra 20 because I needed fives in order to tip her! Pretty scammy and embarrassing. I was dressed like Adam Sandler so maybe she assumed that I wasn’t going to tip her and that’s why she decided to steal from me but other than that, I just don’t know. I was very kind to her. My daughter was very kind to her. I’m not sure why she would do that.

I stayed at a nearby hotel and decided to try out Crafted Palette, expecting nothing special. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of both their food and coffee. My husband and I enjoyed it so much that we even took some extra food and coffee with us for our road trip. The service provided by the friendly staff was outstanding, indicating their genuine dedication to ensuring a top-notch experience for customers.
What a great find! We stopped in for coffee one morning and were happy to find that they serve coffee from the local company Midnight Roasters. We liked the look of the lunch menu so came back the next day and tried two sandwiches (the pretzel pastrami and the Sriracha BBQ chicken) plus a lemon handpie and all were excellent. We look forward to trying more food from them, especially some of their savory hand pies and the brie chicken sandwich. And as with all our favorite dining experiences, it really is the service that pushes things over the top and Abbey was absolutely wonderful. She is very friendly and welcoming and took great care of us.

Discovered this in downtown Reno during a recent trip, and it’s the first coffee place / restaurant I’ll return to on any future visit. Enjoyed an excellent butterscotch cappuccino, and Melanie’s Croque Madame was a great breakfast. Service was great, and they re-made an item for me on my second visit. Spacious. Found an outlet for my computer. Atmosphere is great too, with the art all around, good music, I think maybe some games too.

Love this place!! I usually stop by in the weekday evenings, so the selection for food I encounter is their savory and dessert pies! The atmosphere is quiet and dimly lit, and not busy at all whenever I visit. It's an ideal place for dates or introverts. ☺️ Food is SO good and heavenly, sure it takes some time to receive, but all good things take time ☺️ looking at the art on the walls makes the wait go by faster! Food is affordable, quality and filling! They have art to buy (from previous classes I think) and they're affordable and lovely!

Wow!!! The Shirred Eggs were to die for!! The egg yolks did not hold up to delivery well. They were hard by the time they got to me but it doesn't even matter. The delicious flavor was enough to make up for it. The Kale Salad or Spring Mix Side Salad was amazing! The dressing was so flavorful. The homemade BBQ sauce that came with the Baked Sweet Potato Fries was superb!! I can't say enough about this place. You know a place is good when you don't have to add salt to the food and when even the condiments are delicious.

Local business in the beautiful Riverwalk district here in Reno. It is a sip and paint venue, and I must say this place has a really cool aesthetic compared to your average cafe. Staff is really nice and the business owner is very graceful and in all the time. The pricing is really good in today's economy. They do painting classes and hang up the canvases from the teachers or best paintings while having a good time with their own specialty cocktails. Coffee is good, very fresh but not unique compared to the other aspects of the business. They also don't have someone on staff who knows how to do latte art, which is kinda ironic. Food is very good tho with creative recipes and a French kinda menu. I've seen some inconsistency in my orders. But since it's a small business. I still give it 5 stars for the shirred eggs, croque madame, and pop up pies. They also get their coffee beans from midnight up the street, which is really cool, considering they are a local roaster downtown.
Wysterion — Google review
Coffee was decent - not bad nothing special, the croissant was fresh and lovely even if VERY overpriced. I had planned to work here a bit but it was impossible. The music is aggressive, loud and distracting. Even worse was the very bored employees standing around complaining about how long it was going to be (many many days apparently) until they had a day off. It was a miserable atmosphere so I left to go elsewhere and will not return.

Very good workers and tasty food 🤤

Nice place for lunch. We stopped by on our way home and ordered a variety of food. They have pancakes, omelets, burgers, and more. The waitress was very friendly and patient taking the order from our group. The food turned out great tasting too.
Doua M — Google review
Wow. I haven't been to an IHOP in ages. They were always over priced and the food was Denny's tier. But they fixed their food and it is now really good. My daughter, who is the pickiest eater ever, loved the chicken and waffles. And the $6 deals are insane value. No wait when we went off peak hours. Service was solid. Atmosphere was exactly what you would expect - a generic diner. If the quality remains the same and the prices don't go LMAO McDonald's style, I can see this being a weekly tradition.

Always a solid breakfast on our way out of town. Our server Orlando was amazing. Despite being super busy, he was extremely attentive and friendly.
Lia C — Google review
A ready smile from the hostess and quick and friendly service. My Colorado Omelette was perfect - almost artistic presentation. Well done folks!
Colin D — Google review
In my search for the best Eggs Benedict, I had to try IHOP. The place was empty for early lunch time. I was searching for someone to seat me in this large diner, as the hostess was on her phone hidden by the wall. As I made myself known, the waitress seemed put out by my presence, which was confirmed by her slamming my water in the table. I let it go. Then my EB were not runny! Ugh! The whole idea of the EB is, egg yolks galore! If course air sent it back when my eggs were well done. The hallendaise was not even rememerable. Thankfully my waitress became a bit more gracious after sending back. Hmmm, why wait with the attitude adjustment. That effects your tip %. Needles to say, this was not worth the $ I paid, especially when they just toss a bunch of potatoes in deep oil and call it...what? I can't even remember. FAIL! This was not worth the $$.

Stopped in because my grandson wanted breakfast for dinner, food was good, service was a little slow but good. Food was good.

Nestled in the charming CalAve District, My Favorite Muffin is a beloved local spot that truly shines when it comes to breakfast. Renowned for its delectable bagel sandwiches, this cozy eatery also offers an array of homemade pastries and muffins, complemented by Brewster's coffee. The menu features delightful options like the classic Breakfast Sandwich with your choice of fresh bagel, egg whites, provolone cheese, tomato, and turkey sausage—perfect for fueling your day.
Have loved going here for years and recently stopped by for lunch. They have a great menu with tasteful selections. Atmosphere was inviting as well as the crew. I chose to get a breakfast bagel (everything) and I also ordered the Club on a twisted cheese roll for to go! Delicious, fresh and pricing was even better.
Samantha G — Google review
To measure a coffee shop, a mocha is my go to and it was okay, tasted watered down. As did the chai latte. Blueberry muffin was decent, but a bit hard/old. Clerk was disorganized and doubled the order for some reason. Atmosphere was good though. Overall not horrible but there's are better places.
Caleb P — Google review
Atmosphere felt uneasy as we received stares coming into the restaurant. I was recommended this place by a friend with raving reviews. It was my first time here, so I scanned over the menu carefully. While another customer came in, I told them we were not ready to order yet and to proceed to the register, while the employee yelled “LINE UP IN FRONT OF THE MUFFIN CASE.” The employee did not have a name tag, however, the receipt says “Amelia.” Amelia seemed to have a face of disgust, attitude, and hardly made eye contact throughout the entire interaction. I asked Amelia questions and she was short with her answers. I noticed her behavior was different with the customer I let in front of us, as well as with others in the establishment. I was happy that others were handed their food and told to have a great day. When my food was ready, my name was called out and left on the counter. I am hard of hearing so I was happily awaiting for my food to be handed to me, luckily my partner was able to tell me my order was ready so I could grab it off the counter. Again, I had no interactions (greeting, assistance, or farewell) with any employee aside from the time I ordered. I was planning on dining in, but due to this treatment I received, I ate my food in my vehicle. The food also was sub par. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and advise you also do not dine here.
Carlos C — Google review
This used to be a favorite location and I stopped going a couple years ago because consistently they never got my order correct and the coffee was not comparable to other local places. I decided to try again today and I do have some dietary restrictions. I ordered veggie omelet on a wheat bagel and a large cold brew. 20 minutes waiting and got my sandwich to go. I should have known to look at it but I didn’t. Drove all the way home and it was a veggie omelet on a pizza. I can’t eat that so I drove back and had to wait in line again and reorder. No discount offered or rebate and they didn’t even put my new order to front of line. Waited another almost 25 minutes. Finally got correct order. They wouldn’t refill my cold brew either without me reordering and paying for a new one. So my plan to have coffee and breakfast together at home on my day off turned into almost an hour and fifteen minutes and I could not have my coffee and breakfast together. Reason I stopped going in the past is now reason I will not go there again.

We love this sweet little spot. We came from California to visit twice. This time, we came from Texas. Our son lives in Reno and this is his favorite spot, which has quickly become our favorite spot. We love the turkey club, I add the guacamole. Oh boy, it is perfection. We love the toasted bagel with the fresh turkey, lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole.

Watched the staff handle an awkward situation today just before Mount Rose had their walk to school event. As I was having breakfast, a little girl, her even smaller brother and their grandfather received their order, a plain sandwich cheese roll of some kind. The gentleman was primarily non English speaking and granddaughter acted as interpreter. Forgive me if I am assuming too much. Apparently they had ordered a turkey sandwich without cheese and what they got was just the bread. Moments later, the brave little girl walked up to the counter to try and sort things out with all eyes on her. I was fully expecting the staff to ask for the difference in price, but they did not. They corrected the order without much fuss when they could have very easily made things much more challenging. I would like to thank the staff for their display of kindness. Despite being in the middle of the breakfast rush, they took the time to look after someone who couldn't possibly fend for herself yet. Kudos to your corner community cafe and I wish you all continued success!

First time at this location and it was great. Friendly and efficient staff, nice outdoor patio area, and excellent food! I had the holey guacamole bagel sandwich and it was so fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that the mini muffins were a little dense.
Siera S — Google review
Their online ordering system was down so I decided to call in my order. (Work double shifts at the hospital today and just wanted something to eat ) when I go there , there was a line so long almost reaching the exit door I asked the cashier if I can pay for my order since there was a bag with my name and my food ready and at the counter she said I have to wait in line to get my food . Tired to explain why i couldn’t order online and she said she can’t help me unless I get in line . ( decided to just cancel my order ) . I understand staff was busy but since i couldn’t order online my only option was calling to place my order and pick up or go buying food at another restaurant guess I should have gone somewhere else .

I love love love it here!! The service first off is amazing! The food is surprisingly my favorite! We had a breakfast burrito and avocado toast (twerk it style) and it was incredible. The coffee was great also but I never expected such great food! My only wish is that it’d feel a bit more cozy in there but honestly it’s such a small thing that it shouldn’t even be a thing.

Hands down the best hidden gem in Reno. They have the best breakfast and lunch full of flavor and big portions, price won't break the bank either which is always a huge plus. Customer service is always super friendly and very fast. The drive from Fallon to come here for good food and also the best spice vanilla chai is well worth it. You won't be disappointed!

Poor customer service. Prioritizes online orders over in person orders. I waited 20+ minutes for a breakfast sandwich on a Monday morning. Photo attached after waiting 20+ minutes I would not recommend coming here unless you’re planning to have a lot of time or don’t care about customer service.
Gennavive W — Google review
Cute little coffee house. I ordered the toasted marshmallow latte, and it was great. Not too sweet, and the temperature was hot but not too hot, I was able to comfortably drink it right away. The food is cooked fresh and was delicious.

Great atmosphere, very helpful staff, all employees greet you with a warm smile, and are very helpful, and are very friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. There is a large selection of food, and drinks. The cinnamon rolls are amazing. As well as the iced white mocha, which is by far the best Iced Coffee I’ve had in years. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my morning.

My elderly father and I frequent this place whenever we get the chance.. After church we like coming here for coffee and eats. The food is fabulous and never disappoints. Booths, bar, and tables available. Servers, staff are always friendly and attentive.

If I could put negative stars I would what I ordered was not at all what I got and when I asked for no butter in my order. My food was covered in cheese and I have an allergy and was unable to eat the food and this avocado leaves much to be desired. They asked me to keep my food until tomorrow when I could head back into town. Worst service and even worse food

Definitely brings back memories of moms cooking. Big servings can probably share different dishes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone even vegans/vegetarians a like. If they had one where I live they would do amazing.

This place was awesome the food was fantastic, although I love breakfast. I had country fried steak. waitresses we're very friendly and very quick, food was hot and And the chefs were a lot of fun to watch from the counter seat. I also took some pictures of the food being stage up on the counter right in front of us, everything looked fantastic. I would suggest this place to anybody that's in the lemon Valley area of Reno.I will be back soon.

Grease and eggs. Food was really greasy. Waiter was very sarcastic. Ex wanted water, he came back with good choice. Water was free. Time for a refill on my coffee,he said okay, unlimited refills are free. Won't be going back there.

The food was incredible and very large portions. Its on the edge of Reno and easy to get to if your passing through on 395. I will be going back and I recommend them to everyone.

Delicious breakfast, large portions, only waiting 15 minutes for food to prepared, friendly staff and a bit on the pricey side. We did a brunch around 11’sh and we’re not disappointment by the eggs Benedict, French toast and omelette. Recommend for a couples date as it was expensive for the entire family.

Biscotti’s Cafe is a delightful dining spot that truly captures the essence of comfort food. Nestled within Peppermill Casino, it offers a menu brimming with hearty options that are sure to satisfy any craving. Guests rave about their Waffled Brioche Grilled Cheese paired with Tomato Bisque, and the crab melt served alongside garlic fries has been described as nothing short of fantastic—especially with its life-changing garlic pesto!
The lemon ricotta waffles are an absolute must. I only ate two of them, but I wanted to eat all four. You will not be disappointed!! The chicken apple sausage yummy! Coffee is STRONG. Service is lackluster. My server never came back after she dropped of my food & when I went to the front to pay they had to go find her and then she came up to me and said “I didn’t know you were in a hurry” ma’am I’m not in a hurry. I finished my breakfast and would like to get on with my day. Lol

This was my first time staying at the Peppermill hotel. I stumbled upon this restaurant while touring the hotel, and we decided to try it out for dinner. If you're on a date and you want to impress someone with good service and good food, then give this restaurant a try. I had the steak with bernase sauce, parmasean crusted potatoes, and vegetables. My husband had the crab sandwich. Everything was delicious.

We’ve been to the restaurant a couple of times and are always so pleased. The peppermill’s luxury is incomparable. But today, we want to highlight the Biscotti’s Bakery Corner and Team. We have ordered a couple of cakes from them so far and each time they get better and better. We are truly shocked at the taste, the craftsmanship/details are amazing. If you’re looking for a wow factor cake, then look no further than here. Thank You Team

Wonderful place to have any meal! Good people great food, I don't like casinos much because of the cigarette smoke but the air was clear up there. I give it 👍👍😁

Server recommended a marinated sandwich which was delicious. I added garlic fries they were ok. Price is on the high end.

I did not enter or order from the cafe sitting area. I ordered from the convenience side counter. The butterpecan gelato was amazingly delicious. I highly recommend it. The sitting area is clean & employees were friendly. The yogurt parfait is nothing unique or special, but all in all, it was good. The prices are a bit expensive.

I ordered lunch from Biscotti’s while laying at the pool. It was super easy to order online and pickup at the designated time. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries which was kind of pricey but all in all it was a good burger. It was very large and I was unable to finish the entire meal. I also ordered the chocolate croissant which was delicious but messy! Convenient and quick.
Melinda L — Google review
Came here for dinner tonight, first off, our server Ofilia, was awesome!! She is really attentive and was very helpful with everything. We had the Vietnamese sandwich and a flatbread pizza, both were very generous in their size and were very delicious. The restaurants at the Papermill have always been high quality and really good food. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the Reno area. Highly recommend!!
