From the hostess stand to the waitress Amy, the service was impeccable. We had the two egg breakfast, the two pancakes alone, and the three Benedicts-triple threat. Everything was delicious. It was so much food we couldn’t quite finish, and we shared. We had one of each Bloody Mary’s. They put bacon in them which is always my favorite part! Bathrooms were clean and the parking at 9 am on Saturday was easy. When we left at 10 the parking lot was full and there was a wait inside. Good place to stop in and eat. Highly recommend!

Hadn't been to Mason's in years. But back in town for a mini reunion. Food is still good, our server was pleasant and the atmosphere was regular Sunday morning. It gets packed quickly so use the online waitlist if you don't plan to get there within an hour of opening.

Fried mushrooms were great, fried pork chop was good. I was disappointed in there macaroni and cheese see included photo. Very disappointed with my chicken tenders they were over cooked.

I ordered the Not Your Ordinary Shrimp & Grits with broccoli and a breadstick for takeout and it was all so good! I could taste the cajun seasoning throughout the shrimp and grits! I enjoyed the broccoli and breadstick too! I highly recommend getting some good dinner from here!

It is rare for me to give five stars for food, service and, atmosphere. This restaurant is one of those rare occasions. Not being a franchise means an excellent dining experience! Food was delicious, especially the beignet bites. Service was slow and we had to wait some time for the beignet bites to arrive. Also no pre-bussing so we crammed the dessert into a full tables of dirty dishes.

Ok so i usually go here a lot but this last time was such a disappointment. I always get the shrimp and grits. Even the cater shrimp and grits for Mother’s Day. But what i got today was so bad. Idk if they have someone new cooking or what’s going on. And the portion is like 1/2 of what is was before. I will upload a photo but keep in mind this is scattered but barely any grits under there. And the taste is way different than before

I just want to say that my server today was absolutely amazing. Normally, as a vegan, I struggle with menu options and end up having to ask, “Can you make this with that, but without this?” But he was so gracious about it — not the least bit annoyed that my needs weren’t the standard everyday menu requests. He took the time to help me, checked whether they could make pancakes without milk (thumbs up — they could!), and made sure everything was going smoothly throughout the meal. We were even able to eat outside during the day, which usually isn’t possible unless the server goes out of their way to help — and he did. What really stood out was his attitude and vibe: just kind, patient, and welcoming. To me, that’s the mark of a star restaurant — when the staff goes the extra mile to accommodate guests even when it’s not “on the menu.” And I can’t forget to shout out the cook, because the food itself was delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10 stars to Cody for making my experience wonderful!

Food was amazing!!! Loved the fall specials!!! Our waitress Sherron was supremely prompt, professional, and polite. That is an understatement though, she is an amazing human who stole my heart and has my greatest respect! A very kind and personable woman. This was my first visit, and it was amazing! Everything was delicious from start to finish and our server Hailey was great. If I was staying in town longer I would definitely return! Get the French toast bites, you won’t be disappointed!

We were among the lucky first customers on the Saturday morning we dined here, having waited in the parking lot for the doors to open. We were promptly seated, but from there, the promptness gave way to a surprisingly slow pace. Our server was friendly, kind, and always wore a smile, which we appreciated. However, the overall service was unusually slow—so much so that it left us genuinely puzzled. The restaurant appeared adequately staffed, and there wasn’t much of a crowd, so the delay didn’t seem to have an obvious cause. That said, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and thoroughly enjoyable. The food absolutely delivered. Still, the lag in service was the slowest we've experienced in recent memory, and without any clear explanation, it stood out. As visitors from Kansas, we’ve heard that Southern hospitality can have a more relaxed pace, but this caught us off guard. We’d definitely return for the food—but next time, we’ll come prepared for a leisurely experience.

Surprisingly good food. Gumbo was the best. Staff attentive and friendly. Clean, quiet area for a nice relaxing meal. Nice choices for breakfast including a fresh berry option instead of mixed fruit which is so often chunks of under-ripe melon.

Halfway decent food but the atmosphere isn’t worthy of it. I'm not even going to dive into the food really because it's irrelevant to how awful the atmosphere and service here is. Honestly, I had a feeling this was going to be a waste of time the second we walked in and drunk idiots were standing and shouting at the top of their lungs at the adjacent bar without being checked by the hotel or restaurant staff. I was right. We arrived at 4:50 for 5:00 reservations. The host table wasn't staffed until ~5 minutes after our reservation so we weren't seated until after our reservation time. He looked bothered that we were there and was not welcoming at all. We only received food menus with no drink menus. Our server asked if we wanted something other than water, but we advised we didn't receive a drink menu so we didn't know. He brought us a tablet with a drink menu on it only after asking and warned that they didn't have everything on the menu without going into specifics. How lovely. We were seated facing the hotel entrance so there were people standing around our table, taking pictures, and having loud conversations. A “date night” place this is not although that’s what it sells itself as. Do not be fooled; it’s an average but extremely overpriced restaurant in the middle of a busy hotel lobby. Seriously, it’s a small seating area cordoned off by stanchions and velvet ropes from the rest of the lobby. It’s not a separate area or anything, so people are coming in with music playing on their phones, loud luggage rolling on the floor, etc. Just terrible. To boot, this was booked as a birthday dinner for my wife and there wasn’t a *single* mention of it from the host or server at any point. I couldn’t have been more disappointed in that. Something so basic just overlooked I suppose. No restaurant worth its salt would ever let that happen. But it’s why we will never return and why I will never recommend this place to anyone for a special event. Ambience here is way, way off and there are better restaurants nearby that do it right. We walked out of here having spent $200+ including tip on 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a dessert, and 3 drinks and we were happier to be leaving than we were to be there. Don't say you weren't warned.

Was there today for lunch that was a reunion and birthday lunch for an 87 year old friend who traveled from out of state to be with family and friends. I’ve eaten here many times and the food and atmosphere were great as usual, but the server was kind and very attentive. When former Louisiana residents come home they always want to eat at the best places and I was was delighted to introduce her to BB Willow Grove! Over the years I’ve probably eaten nearly everything on the menu. This time I had the tomato basil soup and the seared tuna appetizer. Yum! I think that’s the best tomato basil soup in town!

Went here today for lunch and it was a pleasant experience. Service was good, priced reasonably with good portions and overall good experience. Ordered the shrimp and grits, chicken avocado but and hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was good 👍🏽 my only complaint is that the grits weren't hot and we asked for no tomato on the blt, but it still came out with tomatoes on it. Other than that, everything was nice!

I ordered the Pot Roast Creole today to go because I was pressing for time. I was craving this for 3 days. Of course, the food was amazing and did not disappoint! This dish consists of tender pot roast, garlic mashed potatoes with Creole gravy, and fresh green beans. The meat bursts with juice and so much flavor. Every dish cooked to perfection. Might I add, they have the best carrot souffle in town. Hands down! I have to have a side, every time! I also would recommend their Debris Blue Cheese Chips! OMG!

You have to try the salmon. It was cooked to perfection. I ordered it with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. Both of the sides were also cooked exceptionally well. The bleu Mac and cheese was too bleu cheesy so I didn’t like it, but that’s a personal preference. We also got drinks off the happy hour menu and they were delicious. The server was really attentive and when we went we were able to have the whole restaurant to ourselves because it was after the lunch rush. The salmon alone is worth the visit.

First time here, my husband and I enjoyed it. The salmon was so flavorful, right along with the veggies that came with it. My husband has the back of house chicken and he enjoyed it. Their drinks are on point and the chips and cheese are good. Everything was hot and came out quickly

Ate dinner here late on a Friday evening. The restaurant wasn't too busy but there was a decent crowd. I got the soup and salad. The shrimp and corn soup was excellent. They have a pretty lengthy beer menu. You are sure to find something you like. Have been coming here for many years and we'll continue to do so.

Kevin was our waiter on the rooftop deck for dinner. We had a group of 7 from Boston who never ate Louisiana fare before, so Kevin brought us samples and we were able to place a few orders of appetizers and get meals to share and everyone loved it! He made this a great experience for us and we appreciate that. The food was just as good as the service.

The Chimes was one of the places that was recommended to me by locals. The service was great. Oscar made me the perfect long Island tea. He also recommended the shrimp po boy with spicy mayonnaise. It was delicious. I would definitely recommend The Chives to anyone visiting Baton Rouge. Love the atmosphere, too.

I visited Louise’s based on the positive reviews on Google. While the restaurant itself has an old school atmosphere and wasn’t particularly busy during our visit, the wait time for food was unexpectedly long. Unfortunately, that lack of efficiency really overshadowed the experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to others, simply because of how long everything took. It’s a pass for me—more of a place to avoid than suggest. The whole experience felt like a 3-star visit.

What a hidden gem! Louie’s Cafe completely restored my faith that there was good food to be found on my vacation. The service was excellent — Tom, my server, was amazing and really made me feel welcome. The food was perfect homemade fare, from the delicious cubed hash browns with sautéed onions, to the thick, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, and a fluffy short stack of pancakes. Even the coffee was the best I had during my whole week in Louisiana. Highly recommend this place — it’s exactly what a great local diner should be!

It's a great place with great food. I would definitely recommend. I had their pancakes (awesome) an Omelette (awesome) Shrimp and grits (freaking awesome) Patty melt with a huge amount of crispy cheese hanging on the side of it. (Rediculously awesome). The only negatives is the wait to be seated because they are busy, a little cramped for seating because they're busy. And the exit ot parking will scrap the bottom of your vehicle if it is low to the ground. I would still recommend easily.

Best place at LSU to get an affordable & fast breakfast! It’s been next to LSU’s campus forever & it’s definitely for a reason. If you’re an LSU student, definitely go & try it. It’s really the best bang for your buck & best breakfast place hands down.

Dude this place is legit! Just what you want from a breakfast place, friendly fast service and amazing food. The hash browns are legendary and I now see why. I would eat those with just about anything! The eggs are cooked perfectly - over easy is the way I like them. Fluffy delicious biscuits, everything was fantastic! Don't miss it, especially if you're hungry for breakfast food. I will have to try it for lunch too!

I haven’t been to this restaurant since 2022 but they seem to have gotten even better. 45 minute wait was well worth it. I got the Diablo shrimp melt with havarti cheese and sun dried tomatoes. Also got the crawfish mac & cheese special, which was definitely the star of the show this time. Also got the crustless crab pie which came with a side of red beans and rice and also a salad. I wasn’t even planning on getting any dessert but ended up with the Eye of the Tiger pie with blueberry whipped cream, which was amazing. All around highly recommend this place.

We dropped into Elsie’s Plate and Pie today and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Natchitoches meat pies with crispy brussel sprouts, and everything was absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had the Eye of the Tiger pie. It was rich, sweet, and the perfect finish to the meal. The food was amazing from start to finish, and the atmosphere was just as good. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Me, my aunt, and grannie LOVED Elsie’s! Servers and hostesses were very helpful and friendly and knew the menu well. Every. Single. Thing. we ate was so good. We ordered the crawfish queso and fried pickles to start. Both were a 10/10 and the queso came with homemade pork skins (which I dont usually like) and it was delicious. I ordered the crustless crabmeat pie with fried onions and a blackberry margarita (all 10/10). My aunt ordered the blackened catfish sandwich (8/10) with brussel sprouts. My grannie ordered the honey chop with the parm mashes potatoes and brussel sprouts with the seafood soup (10/10). We have zerooo complaints about any of our food & they plan on coming back when they visit BR again😂 Oh and the prices are great for the quality and amount of food you get! Blueberry hand pie.. DELICIOUS! Our server was a black girl with locs named Maya and we loved her so much <3!

Great place for lunch. We showed up right at opening and got a booth in the back. Order was taken an wait was pretty short. We got Carl's Tomato Pie w/ pimeno salad and a grilled 3 cheese sandwich w/ fries. Coconut cream pie for desert. Wow. Food was hot and delicious.

Even though we live close by I never tried Elsie’s before but I wish I did. Only hamburger my niece got was a bit mediocre but if you think about it they are not famous with that but with their amazing pies. It was her mistake not to get it. I got veggie melt and loved it. My husband got seafood pie and I tried too. It was really good. People were extremely friendly and cute. Highly recommend

Fantastic pies - the seafood pot pie was sensational with a delicious crust and plenty of filling. The mashed potato was very good too. It’s a large place inside and so it was easy to get a table even though they were quite busy.

Seafood pot pie was actually heaven. That Tiger Eye lemon icebox pie with blueberry whip cream literally stole the show! The handheld meat pies are a must try as well. I recommend the Natchitoches. Very chill vibe will totally be back.

Best BBQ in Louisiana! The crawfish queso was so good, and they serve it with homemade pork skins to scoop it up with, as well as home made crispy fried chips. This place was amazing! Highly recommend if you're driving anywhere near Baton Rouge you stop and give this place a try.

I finally got a chance to eat here and i enjoyed it. The waiter and staff were kind and courteous. The food was seasoned just right, we ordered the blue cheese bib & steak and the brisket burger. Although I enjoyed my salad, I have been craving that brisket burger it was so good I almost tip the cook. The atmosphere was amazing, relaxing, clean environment, they greet you when you enter, say bye when you leave, everyone was smiling and no long faces. I was on a date so this was the right place for it, it can also be a spot to just have time to yourself or me time as I call it. Would I recommend this restaurant YES INDEED.

It was the evening that we were leaving our son at college and we were breaking down crying. Our waitress was amazing. She brought out their best dessert right on time to try and make everyone feel better. This is our second time there and not only is the food and dessert delicious, the service is impeccable.

Had an excellent experience here. Started with the Pork Debris Spring Rolls. So good. Then ordered the City Pork BBQ Platter for the entree. SO much food. Delicious. Didn't eat it all. Leftovers for several days. Would order again. We will definitely come back and try some of the sandwiches next time. Great service and atmosphere here. The music was also good. The Grateful Dead was playing when I walked in.

Had lunch here with family. Food was great! I had the wild boar chile rellano. The staff was so excited about their perfectly cooked egg on top. It was fun. Had the bacon old fashioned - which to be honest - is pretty gimmicky - and I don't care because I got a piece of bacon. The drink was fine otherwise. We had some house chips on the table with some sort of dip that was great too (sorry dont remember the details). Would love to come back another time.

The standouts were definitely the tuna and brussels sprouts—both were outstanding! Even my daughter, who usually avoids raw fish, went back for seconds on the tuna. For entrees, we ordered the brown butter drum, crawfish Mac & cheese, and the tenderloin. The drum was okay—nothing particularly memorable. The crawfish Mac & cheese was amazing-creamy and cheesey! The portion is very generous and can be shared. Unfortunately, my fiancé had to send his tenderloin back as it was overcooked, which was a bit disappointing. While the service and starters were excellent, I found the entrees a bit underwhelming for the price. That said, I would consider coming back just for the tuna, crawfish Mac & cheese, and brussels sprouts, and perhaps to try a different main course.

Business dinner with a colleague seated outside during excellent weather, great atmosphere. Service was ok, not bad but nothing exceptional for a higher end restaurant as the waiter seemed a bit young and inexperienced. I deducted two stars for the food because it was not exceptional, the fried oysters were overly salty and there were bits of oyster shells fried into the cornbread that made me almost chipped my tooth. If it was just one random piece I would not have minded but there were multiple pieces of shell. The beet and arugula salad was good, topped with grilled shrimp. The tiramisu was presented well but the taste left much to be desired as it tasted more like cheesecake.

We had a terrible experience here for dinner! First of all, there were several fruit flies all around the bar and dining area, no matter what section you were in. We ordered the seafood tower and chargrilled oysters and were very disappointed. The seafood tower was extremely underwhelming and not worth the $165 price. The chargrilled oysters were severely overcooked and dry as a bone. You can see in the photo only one oyster had any juice and the rest were DRY and tiny. We came because it was highly recommended but left hungry and disappointed. Only redeeming quality was that our waiter and bartender was great.

I took my wife here for dinner last week. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were hard and sort of dry. My wife had the Hickory Salmon, she actually like the salmon, but the side was bland. I ordered the Crawfish Mac & Cheese (NEVER AGAIN). I was giving Velveeta shells and cheese w/o any flavor! The cheese was watery and the taste was BLAND! I also ordered the Provencal Chicken, it was just blah....The service was exceptional, but they don't cook!

I came to here on a Sunday after church for brunch. I can honestly say I’ve never had food so bad in my life. I ordered gumbo, it came out cold and the rice was so gummy they literally just put a gummy ball in the bowl. I also ordered a Cesar salad and it had wilted pink lettuce in it. The waitress brought the manager to the table and I told him to just look at the food. I don’t even understand how they even thought the food was presentable. The service was okay…? The team seemed extremely confused and out of it. They were not rude but could use more coaching on professionalism. Overall, I think this restaurant is focusing more on appearance and ambience rather than food.

Shoutout Josh for making the world's most delicious "honey nut Cheerios" matcha! Made with oat milk, I'd petition for this to be a permanent menu item. It's nice to visit BR and be met with deliciously inventive drinks such as this. The space is beautiful, sunny and comfortable/spacious for remote workers or friends catching up alike.

When people think of coffee shops in BR, they may think Highland or Garden District. Ever since I helped manage Frankie’s Dawg House, before Stuart sold it, I used to go into Magpie daily for the cold brew. I haven’t been to this place for 8 years. They always have the most attentive and interested workers. The best baked goods. Magpie is amazing still, after all of these years! The tomato + herb goat cheese frittata was amazing. As well as the blueberry almond stitch!!

This was mine and my fiance's first time here. We have been to just about every local coffee shop in Baton Rouge and this one is easily one of the best in town!! Ellen and Karli were so pleasant to talk to, very helpful with suggestions, and definitely were a big part of why our first time here was so amazing! I can't speak on the food, but the food all looked like it was amazing and the dietary options were extremely inclusive! Will definitely be coming back!

I couldn’t really taste the vanilla in my latte, it was really bitter. But, great service and atmosphere. I will be back and try something different from the menu. Hopefully it will be better than what I had today.

A friend and I enjoyed a drip coffee and a latte. She got a vegan breakfast sandwich and loved it! We will be back. Plenty of places for LSU students to study. Indoor and some outdoor seating.

I love this place! They have amazing coffee and delicious homemade pop tarts. Fabulous baristas who know exactly what they’re doing. The new renovation is lovely too. Magpie is my happy place.

Stopped here on the way out of town and OMG the vegan breakfast sandwich is the best. I’ve ever had even my dad, who usually hates anything vegan said it was super tasty. I also got the superfood latte which was 10/10. It was a bit busy when I went (around 10 am on a Saturday so to be expected), if I could go again I would go earlier in the morning to avoid the crowds. Wish I lived in Baton Rouge, I’d be here every weekend!

My husband and I stopped in for dinner and ordered the ribeye steaks with leek purée, mushrooms, and asparagus—and let me tell you, we’re still talking about it! Perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. That leek purée deserves its own fan club. We got the yellowfin tuna & rice as an app and it was spicy and delicious! The service was just as incredible as the food. Jess was our server and she was phenomenal—warm, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She made the entire experience even better. We sat out front, which was such a cozy and relaxing spot. The vibe was peaceful and inviting, and since we were staying within walking distance, we got to enjoy a lovely stroll to and from the restaurant. The cocktails? Also a 10/10. Cocha is the whole package: food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. If you’re in Baton Rouge, this place is a must. Five stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We went for brunch and it was wonderful. We sat outside because it was a nice day, they had live music inside that they were piping to the outdoor seating. Our waitress was very well informed and also patient as we tried to narrow down the menu. I was very happy with my decision but will be back soon to try more of their creations!

Gorgeous space, interesting menu choices, stellar service. We went for brunch on a Saturday around 11:30 and there was no wait, only maybe three other tables were sat. I got a Thai julep that was bright and refreshing, my partner got some sour beer on draft that he liked. I got the Japanese patatas bravas, everything about the dish was incredible but the brisket was waaaay overcooked. It was dry like jerky, which was disappointing. The potatoes and egg and kewpie mayo more than made up for that, though. My partner got the pork belly sliders and THOSE were absolute perfection. Phenomenal bite. We would definitely go back for dinner or a weekday lunch.

One of the best restaurants in Baton Rouge hands down. Not only is their food and atmosphere great, their employees are fantastic like the owners. I had my rehearsal dinner there in the back room and all my family loved it. The food was amazing along with the friendly and laid back atmosphere. They made it so easy to reserve for my party size and the service was amazing!

Stopped in for dinner....didn't know it was wine tasting event night but they found us a table in the back. Dinner was excellent but it was a bit pricey (to be fair, I ordered a rib-eye steak - an off-menu offering). Cocktails are also a bit spendy but, to be fair, were very well done. Shout out to Bert for putting up with us out-of-towners!

The restaurant is really cool and has great food, but I have given service 4 stars since it took about 2 hours to get our main entree last Friday! The oven went out and place was slammed. Also, we ordered steaks as a special. They were great; however, my 5oz filet was $40 and my husband’s 15 oz ribeye was an eye popping $75! I think the waiter should have warned us as it wasn’t written on the menu. Just sayin’.

Food was quick, it was a good deal for 6 dollars as they are doing the house favs Monday-Friday 7AM-10PM. It was also very clean and my server was very helpful. If you want something quick, and a good price and experience this I HOP is for you!

Before heading out on the road again, my husband and I hosted a Men’s UNITY Breakfast at the IHOP on College Drive. We spoke with the owner in advance, and he was very accommodating about holding our meeting there. On the morning of the event, our waitress Amanda greeted us warmly and provided excellent service. She was attentive to every attendee, keeping coffee and drinks filled and taking orders with care. The meals arrived hot and fresh. My husband and I ordered the breakfast burritos, which were light, flavorful, and wrapped perfectly. All of our attendees were pleased with their meals. Thank you to the IHOP team for helping make our September event a success!

I was going to fuss at first for not getting my utensils or amenities, but when I taste the grits and those pancakes. I was so satisfied. All that I can say was the food was awesome. Must have a new cook. I truly enjoyed my meal today...

First time actually eating here. They were closed for months. They're just now back to being open 24 hours, like an IHOP should be. My only previous experience here was being asked to leave their parking lot after waiting too long for a passenger to show up. I guess they had nothing better to do at the time than ask people to get off their metaphorical lawn. That didn't exactly make a great impression on me, but nonetheless, I don't hold grudges for too long. I decided to give them a shot at actually serving me tonight. Other than the amount of time it took to make the food (about 25 minutes) they actually did a pretty good job. Only 2 minutes to be seated, 2 minutes to put a drink in front of me, and the food eventually came out good. And they were actually polite (rare these days).

The atmosphere was pleasant on this morning and the food was good and it came out quick. My waitress, Ms. Amanda, was very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this location for your breakfast needs!

Best damn IHOP location I’ve been to. Food was on point and our waiter was the bees-knees. The music was nice and wasn’t too loud that I couldn’t hear myself think. I really enjoyed my time there eating breakfast. If you live in the area or just passing thru, give this place a shot. I had the Split Decision breakfast 🤌🤤

It was all good but my eggs could've been scrambled softer. I ask for extra, extra soft. They definitely need workers...they are hiring! My eggs were better this time. My daughter loved her Crapes.

The friendly staff were very helpful in my decision of what drink (hibiscus/lemonade) to have with my delicious Piazza Panini, which I easily indulged in the Roasted Pistachio Gelato afterwards. My fur baby was very delighted in the “Dog Gelato” they offer (I took a bitty taste, kinda light peanut buttery taste) Took home some divine loose tea also!!

It’s so refreshing to find an authentic Italian place in Baton Rouge! The atmosphere is cozy and the employees are kind, welcoming, and hard-working. The food was absolutely delicious! We got veggie pizza, lasagna, and the French onion soup. Their coffee was better than any place I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back to try their breakfast and gelato, they have so many flavors to try! Definitely come here to support a local business <3

Cute little cafe in a strip mall of other stores, the gelato was a little icy but the coffee was really good, I got the gingerbread latte. They also have pop up bakery’s that come periodically, I would be interested in that for sure ! There is food here as well.

Small Italian Cafe. Gelato, coffees, sandwiches and Italian dishes. I enjoyed a Mango sorbet as others in the party chose the dairy gelato. Every dish was empty. The food dishes smelled wonderful as they brought them to other customers. I spied on a flatbread and it looked kickin. I will have to come with my family to try the flatbread. I wished they had cannolli but do have a cannolli flavored cannolli . One person in the party commented that the hot sandwiches are good.

I get La Divina often for lunch and all has been amazing. This visit was beyond. Disappointing. The pizza was served on sliced bread instead of pizza crust and was beyond soggy. We also got spaghetti and meatballs and the meat balls were so dry and crumbly and the sauce had nothing but a can taste. If I didn’t have them before and know the potential I would never return. Not to mention I bought a soda and it was expired in the beginning of February.

Perfect spot for a cute cozy date. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. I had the drip coffee, which was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. The Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake was very airy and moist. Definitely will come back to try their breakfast options.

Fantastic place! Customer service was excellent! The food was delicious! Everything came fast. If you are in the area please give it a try. This will be my new favorite place when I visit Baton Rouge. Visiting again and of course, I couldn't leave without trying something new from my favorite restaurant! I recently had an unpleasant experience at IHOP that left my family feeling ignored and disappointed. When we first arrived, we weren’t even acknowledged for about 15 minutes. The server made a point of taking orders from the tables next to us but completely skipped over ours. When we finally got her attention, another staff member reassured us that someone would be right with us – but, unsurprisingly, it was the same server who had passed us by. Once she finally came to take our drink order, things didn’t improve. After we ordered a drink that wasn’t available, she replaced it without even offering alternatives. We then had to ask for a different substitution, which felt like an inconvenience. When it came time to order food, she rushed through the process and didn’t even ask if we wanted to order something for our child. By then, about 30 minutes had passed, and my son was getting quite impatient. When our food arrived, the experience went from bad to worse. My 2-year-old said “thank you very much” as the server placed the dishes on the table, but she didn’t respond in any way—not even a simple “thank you” or an acknowledgment of his politeness. She just walked away, leaving us feeling like an afterthought. We didn't get the can we offer you anything else. We asked for boxes to take the food to go. The food itself was great, but honestly, we had to take it to go because we felt so unwelcome. By the time we got home, the meal was cold, and the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths. It’s a shame because a simple acknowledgment and basic customer service could have made this an entirely different visit. I shouldn’t feel ignored and rushed when simply trying to enjoy a meal with my family.

The food was good except I'm allergic to avocado.. I told the waitress when I ordered i was, and it still came out with it. I would've told her, but she walked off so fast. So, hubby scrapped it off, and we just went on with it.

Horrible experience all around. I would give this place negative 100 stars. Don’t waist your time or money in this location. Our coffee and hot chocolate was iced cold. Our food was iced cold. Husband ordered chicken fried steak meal. They forgot to put the gravy on it. Everyone in our party was served, well my food didn’t come out for another 15 mins. I just ordered a waffle with butter. Nothing special. When my food finally arrived well it was cold cold butter was frozen. No syrup was on our tables. Eggs on our orders were wrong. Ordered sunny side up eggs. Instead the gave us scrambled eggs without asking. On top of that. The waiters were talking amongst themselves that the kitchen equipment was broken such as the microwave. I WILL NEVER EVER STEP INTO A IHOP LOCATION IN MY LIFE. I rather eat at McDonald’s. At least at McDonald’s the food will be warm vs iced cold. Honestly I wish i wouldn’t had paid. Wait of time and I waist of money. Total bill was $60 for ICED COLD CARDBOARD TASTING FOOD.

I've eaten here a couple of times this week while in town for an event. The staff here is awesome and they take care of you very well. The cooks take pride in what they do and it shows.

The shrimp corn dogs were really good! A great appetizer to share with 4 people. The shrimp and grits were also good if you don't mind a savory style of grits. The burger was okay, nothing to brag about. Chicken and waffles had a good flavor and was a crowd favorite. The ambiance/ atmosphere did not match the style of the food. When walking in it seems like a restaurant where you could dress up a bit but the food was giving dress down. Our server was great and catered to our every need. We did get some slight frozen tater tots and sent those back. Other than that, SoLou was a cute eatery but the food could have been better.

In town for a dance convention so I googled places to eat and SoLou came up as a top place so we decided to give it a try for Sunday brunch. It did not disappoint. It was packed when we got there. Hostess said there was a 30 min wait but we got seated in less than 15. Waitress was super nice. She recommended the LouBerry and margarita drink. We enjoyed them. Also we had the crabmeat cheesecake and hot crawfish dip and they both were delicious. For dessert, we had the bread pudding. All of it was 10/10. Also, they serve pork rinds complimentary while you wait on your food. Seemed like everyone was celebrating a birthday that day so I know the staff sung Happy Birthday at least 10 times while we were there, but they all did it with a smile! Even the manager was singing right along with them. She even came by checking on us a couple of times. Great atmosphere and good fresh food. Will def go back.

Unimpressed with my visit and food unfortunately. Really would give 3.5 stars. We had a party of 7 with a reservation at 1:15pm. I called them saying we were running a few mins late and was told that was fine and we would get seated once we got there. We arrived and waited almost 45 minutes before being seated! What’s the purpose of a reservation if we still have to wait?! The ambiance was good bo complaints there. Busy for Sunday brunch. The food left us feeling underwhelmed. The shrimp corn dogs tasted like they were right out of the freezer. The cauliflower was decent. The crawfish scramble was decent but literally had no seasoning, had to add salt n pepper. Just really disappointed because I came in with high hopes.

We’re in town for bowling and found this great spot by chance. Fantastic spicy gumbo and sweet crab and corn chowder! The truffle Mac and Cheese was delicious and creamy and everything was piping hot! I didn’t get our bartenders name but he was super attentive and made delicious cocktails. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived but was full by the time we left. Great atmosphere, music was just right.

We had a fantastic time at SoLou! Our server Haven was so friendly and helpful. The smoked old fashioned was one of the best I’ve had in town. The crab and brie grilled cheese was so savory and the salmon dish hit all the right flavor notes. We topped off the evening with a table side s’mores set up. Definitely worth every penny!

My group visited SoLou Baton Rouge on a Sunday for brunch. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious! I feel like their prices are pretty good and the atmosphere was great! The patio is nice but everyone would benefit from more air circulation. I would suggest SoLou to anyone! 5 Stars!

Ordered through doordash for delivery. Tried the appetizer cauliflower. It was delicious. The Thai sauce & spicy mayo give it a great kick & burst of flavor. Its a large quantity. I was happy with the sauces on the side so it wasn't mushy by the time it reached me. Appreciate that. The side mashed potatoes were decent. The cheddar tater tots were okay. The broccolini was very salty for me. It came with cotton candy & pork chips. They give complimentary cotton candy if you aren't ordering dessert already. Food was clean & tasty. Would definitely dine in and try other entrees. One thing to note is doordash increases the price of each item by a few dollars. Check out the real prices on their website. Another note for doordash is inaccurate description of the items. Ordered a sensation salad-description read tomato, red onion, cucumber, etc. The sensation salad was only lettuce & almonds. It was good but only 2 ingredients & the dressing was thicker then a vinaigrette. Loved the creole cheesecake! Fun dessert. The crunchy aspect was a great surprise. Had caramel, chocolate, raspberry.

Swung by for dinner after a day out with friends and even though we arrived in groups, our servers were kind and waited for us to get ourselves situated. We got our food fairly quickly and it was perfect

I love Waffle House, and this location is done really well. The food was just what you'd expect—delicious and cooked right in front of you. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Quick service, clean environment, and that classic Waffle House charm. Definitely one of the better locations I’ve visited. Would happily stop here again anytime!

Nice concept for the chain. Not very clean looking once inside. Watch out they automatically put cheese in grits! I didn’t approve that! Service was great. A good cleaning and a smell check place would be top notch.

This place has horrible service. Place was packed and the server said it would be a while. Sat at table for 30 minutes, bused the table for them, and she couldn't even take our drink order. Someone needs some training in their customer service skills. Got up and went across the street to the Melty and got immediate service. Definitely don't go to the this place if there is more than one car in the parking lot. What a freaking joke this place was, I thought California was bad but this place takes first place.

We are traveling here from Kansas City! The food was delicious, inexpensive and the waitresses were so friendly!!! My 11 year old said “That’s the best service I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant!”

The all-star breakfast was awesome and of course I had to get hashbrowns all the way except gravy cause Bert's Chili is so great, this Waffle House location is now my #1 favorite ! Friendly atmosphere and the staff are so courteous here.

Everything bagel with lemon cream cheese was good. Breakfast burrito was decent , grits were kinda plain . I asked for cheese and hot Sauce to help.

This place used to have an awesome Ham/Turkey wrap for $9 bucks, that had a solid pound of meat in it. Made to order! But now the menu has changed. All of the cold sandwich are grab-and-go (who knows when they were made) and the hot sandwiches aren't worth the price. Paid $15 bucks for 2 slices of pastrami and a bag of chips. Completely dead inside during a lunch hour work day, which means the locals don't even eat there. Kinda sad... this place used to be great.

Convenient for a stay at the Watermark, but overpriced (a Kind bar is $5) and not great. I was born and raised in NY, so I was excited to see Matzo Ball Soup on the menu, and a “family recipe”, as well. I don’t know what abomination this soup would be called, but it sure isn’t Matzo Ball Soup…

Food is always fresh and Delicious. We really never have to wait long to be served. I must mention Ms Mary, she’s very kind and so sweet. She always greets my wife and I every morning when we come in for coffee or lunch. I highly recommend Milford as the place to grab a quick bite especially if you’re in the down town Baton Rouge area. It’s also a dope lil chill spot.

Sent my wonderful husband downstairs to fetch us breakfast before checking out of our Watermark hotel room. Great breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. These folks do not hold back on the bacon! Would definitely get breakfast here again.

Milford's on third is filled with the two most lively and lovely ladies, Jacqueline & Inez. I pray they will enjoy many more years at this Hotel because they're so sweet to children and family. For breakfast, my girlfriend and I ate the "Turkey Scrambler." The biscuit was so soft, so flakey, it melted in your mouth. Great temperature and the quality didn't look rushed. The biscuit ended up falling apart because of how fresh it was, that didn't stop us from using our forks though. Thank you Inez! Jacqueline, thank you for being kind to the kids who were screaming and giving us the ins and outs of our stay. You're an awesome photographer! Thank You Ladies!

I had the Hummus Wrap and the simple Salad and both were so satisfying that there is no reason at all to write something negative. A good place for vegetarians and a good place for healthy food.

All good things come to an end eventually, I guess. I looked forward to my breakfast croissants from here until they restructured the menu & started charging separately for protein on the breakfast items. On top of that, the croissant sandwich looks much smaller now than it used to. And they burned my sandwich today. Looking for a new breakfast & coffee spot now 🙃

One of the best coffee experiences in BRLA. The coffee is always delicious and well made! Great selection of both hot and cold drinks, including teas. The sandwiches are delicious and filling. Excellent gluten free and vegetarian options. The seating is easy to access and usually there is an open table. You can eat outside too. The parking can be challenging because the lot is small. I always bring my put of town guests here for a remarkably cup of coffee

my favorite coffee in baton rouge! it is so smooth. i LOVE the ice that is given in iced drinks. the food is also amazing. they sell local bakeries baked goods and do well with promoting local social events. i love the outdoor area and could sit there for hours. it is also a pretty big space inside. i am never disappointed

The cutest little spot around for some great coffee. In an effort to shop locally, we decided to skip the big chains today. Great choice. I got the grilled cheese sandwich. To my surprise, it had jelly on it. It wasn’t bad. I just didn’t expect it. Everything was served in a timely manner. The host was nice. The drinks were great. I will visit again for sure.

I'm a big breakfast person but I tend to eat it really late during the day especially when I don't have to get up early in the morning for work! That's one of the positives about this place! I can go in late in the afternoon and have a wonderful breakfast and everything is always so fresh and they have great coffee!!

Very cute cafe on Government Street with plenty of parking on the side. The coffee themed interior is decorated with market lights. The yellow on blue color palette makes it very vibrant. The coffee is good, the staff are nice. They also serve breakfast and lunch, but we did not have a chance to try it yet.

Good vibes, stickers and coffee. We bought some to take home and felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. This is the coffee spot! They had some vendors outside selling clothes, nothing for men but it looked artistic. The food biscuit I got was tasty too and quick.

Ok, wow. Hidden gem. I ordered on doordash only craving breakfast at work using the explorer dashpass. Saw the lunch tacos and thought it looked like a perfect on the go lunch. I got a kolache because of the reviews here, I got bacon instead of sausage that I ordered even though the bag said sausage. but I am amazed. It was early, and I didn’t try the tacos until dinner, and they tasted freshly made still. The steak tacos really are THAT good! I used to pass by this place everyday and thought it was a run of the mill kolache place. I was wrong! Everything is so good! Even the chocolate milk I childlishly enjoy. Definitely will be my new spot.

My go to place for a breakfast plate now. A lot of these other cafes in the area aren’t nearly as good. Eggs were perfect (everywhere else has been so disappointing) and the portion size was enough to feed me twice.

Met my son for lunch and he wanted to try a place he heard about. None of us had ever eaten there but the menu made it hard to pick just a meal. The pics looked just like the food we received. The atmosphere was definitely easy on the eyes, from the bathroom to the amazing antique store on the first floor . Was my entire party’s first time . Amazing .

A group of us went eat around 12:30 sunday we had a wonderful experience! we got sat right away ! there was live music that fit perfect with the environment leolas gives! out server hailey was very sweet and made sure our experience was awesome as well!!!!! anywaysss the FOOD was AWESOME and didn’t take long to come out at all. we all got different things and each enjoyed them ! i personally got the “basic b” and it was perfect. a good amount of eggs and the cheesy grits where my favorite they were seasoned so good and had the best taste ever !! the bacon was crispy and so so good mixed into my grits . the spuds were very well seasoned too! loved all the food!!!! can’t forget the baskets of biscuits that come with yummmmyyy cinnamon butter !! they were so fluffy and big!!! my favorite meal of the day is breakfast and leolas didn't disappoint at alll

I loved this place! I had my birthday celebration here with my family, and Ms Donna made it so fun and special! They made us feel like family, and Donna gave the best attention to us! Definitely recommend!

It was me and my girlfriend’s first time visiting this place. We found it on google to get breakfast and once we arrived, the atmosphere seemed pretty cool. We liked the wooden cabin style inside the restaurant and the air inside was breezy. We ordered the Pimento Points for the appetizer and the iced coffee. Then we ordered the Big A Special with sausage links on the side and the Southwest omelette with the biscuit and gravy on the side for our entrees. Besides our waitress being inattentive and having a lack of enthusiasm, we were enjoying our time and meals until my girlfriend went to eat the sausage links. She then notices a long strand of hair sitting on top of it which ruined her appetite. She lets the waitress be aware of the poorly prepared side which the waitress seemed nonchalant about it and offered to replace it but we asked to have it removed from the bill. Then I started to eat my potatoes and biscuit with gravy. It tasted well but it was very cold like it had been sitting under a lamp to keep warm or reheated. Once we finished, our waitress presents our bill and forgot to remove the sausage link from the bill. Other than that, the rest of our food was delicious. Not sure if we’ll be returning because of the lack of good service.

I brought my wife there for her birthday brunch Friday morning 8/8/25. We fell in love with the place and we were treated like royalty. We shared the Dad Bod special and I would give ALL 4 stars if it weren't for the sausage patties and Link sausage which we thought were not the right flavor we expected. The service was great and the place was a wonderful place to eat

5 Stars all the way on atmosphere, originality, service, location and just plain different. Antique store that became a restaurant that is still an antique store. Excellent coffee. A somewhat limited ( understandably) but tasty menu. The patio is spacious and inviting. It has a Garden Party appeal to it. One Should definitely add this place to their list of favorite outings!

We went today and from what I understand are transitioning ownership and I can confirm the new owners were amazing and kind. Mind you the power was out but that didn't stop them from serving what they could and being incredibly gracious. Food was delicious and our waitress Alyssa was the best!

The turkey wings were hot and fresh the dressing and the macaroni and cheese were cold when I received it the dressing was tasty but undercooked and wet instead of just moist I microwaved it for a little bit and it got better

The wings were so good I finished before I got home; they were so juicy and full of flavor with a nice seasoned outer layer. The Mac n cheese y'all, better than any home cooked holiday Mac you think you’ve had. Not only is the food amazing so is Ms. Courtney! She was so kind and welcoming and deserves all the appreciation!

Always friendly,smiling,like holding conversation with the customers. I've tried everything on the menu and I wasn't disappointed. Someone gave a very generous donation and ask Courtney to served the elderly first. Well I'm considered a senior so I got a free meal from a kind person and she's very honest also. I love her 🌽 y'all should try it.

Food service everything is awesome. Courtney is the best chef I know her food is so good I need her to teach me how to cook lol. But she is awesome. From her turkey wings to chicken wings everything is good

Nothing like the personal touch from the lunchroom. Courtney is literally a godsend. Whatever you eat, you will enjoy. And if you have ideas, she will try and make it happen. Go holler at that red truck and support support support!

The catering experience provided by The Lunchroom is absolutely AMAZING!! Not only are the entrees flavorful and filling, but there's elegance added to the atmosphere! It was definitely a five star experience!

It’s just something about them fried turkey wings and red beans. They are absolutely amazing!! I’m really thankful to have a person like Ms. Courtney she is a wonderful lady

Good for a place instead a hospital. I've been there twice so far and will go there again. Their pre-made sandwiches aren't always great but can be good. Their oven is small and cannot fit a lot of pizzas/wraps at once but they work fast. Nice people.

PJs in Zachary is a great place to hang out. It’s comfortable with lots of separate seating areas. Their staff is friendly and their drinks are always great! Their beignets are also delish!!

Be aware that this is a location seemingly located inside a hospital. As someone from out of town I was quite disappointed to find that once I got there.
