Sunrise Skillet is a cozy spot recommended for its delicious food and welcoming service. The menu offers a variety of options including skillets, omelets, and lighter fare. Visitors can enjoy dishes like Reuben sandwiches with seasoned fries or the Sunrise Special for breakfast. The atmosphere is pleasant, with attentive staff and homemade delights such as waffles with extra whipped cream. Additionally, alcoholic drinks are available for those who want to indulge in a beverage alongside their meal.
Love this place & all of their locations so much! Owners are so kind, food is amazing and phenomenally price. Only gripe was people standing in front of our booth waiting for a pickup.

A busy little cafe... The service is prompt, the food is hot and gets to your table promptly. The coffee is surprisingly rather good; strong but not bitter. I gave 4 stars bc they don't make their skillet potatoes in house and they aren't 'skillet' potatoes, they are fried. They weren't bad, but they weren't anything to look forward to on our next trip. With all of that said, we will be going back.
Nakita B — Google review
My husband and I were in the Toledo area house hunting and was staying nearby. First we went to Charlies but the waitress was very rude and unfriendly, so we got up and left. We saw Sunrise Skillet and decided to try it. 1st, we were greeted with a smile and a welcome greeting. We were seated and our waitress, Kylie, was super nice and very good at her job! We didn't want for anything! The food came out fast and was hot and tasty! We'll definitely be back!
Denise K — Google review
The wait staff seemed genuinely glad to see the customers come in. They all wore huge smiles and quick to serve. We had such a short wait from the time we ordered until our food was in front of us; I was amazed. The food was delicious!
Don R — Google review
Great service. Very friendly, and kind servers. My kids were happy because they brought a box full of crayons 🖍️ to the table. The food was really good and tasty. Even my kids ate their food which is not common for them to finish their food. Prices are affordable. Huevos rancheros are the best.
Meriyen G — Google review
We ended up here when the diner we originally planned to go to was closed. The place was clean and the one waitress and cook kept things moving. The menu offered many good looking options for breakfast We ordered the veggie skillet and the western skillet. Both were really good. The coffee was good and hot, always a plus. Neither of us could finish our food. I definitely recommend.
Beth Z — Google review
The food was okay, but the syrup is awful, definitely mrs. Butterworth or similar. None of the decor or furniture seems coordinated, it's a weird vibe, feels very much like a budget experience.
Marigold — Google review
This restaurant was recommended to me by 2 people. I arrived at 1pm, 1 hour before close. They entire wait staff and cashier turned thier heads, in unison, to stare at me in the parking lot. Thier faces all said this person better not come in to eat. Don't worry, I will not be back.

Ye Olde Durty Bird is a historic tavern housed in an 1867 building, offering a diverse menu featuring inventive burgers. Located in downtown Toledo, this establishment is celebrated for its wide selection of beers and classic American dishes. The venue's charming ambiance is enhanced by live music and friendly service, making it a popular choice among craft beer enthusiasts. With positive customer reviews highlighting the excellent burgers and welcoming atmosphere, Ye Olde Durty Bird has become a beloved fixture in the local dining scene.
Food was top notch. My husband got a chef special cheese steak with fries and I got chicken salad sandwich on croissant with Brussels sprouts and we shared a beer. There was plenty to take with us for later! Fantastic service! Loved the atmosphere. Really cool building, clean and historic. We will definitely come back if we ever drive through Toledo again.
Alicia T — Google review
The food was was a big let down. We went before a Mud Hens game and were very surprised to get a table right away. My husband ordered a bloody Mary which he said was perfect with a big kick of pepper. I ordered the Po Boy and he ordered the Big Italian. The service was perfect! She was on top of everything! Finally our food came and it looked better then I could of imagine. How did something that looked so great have such little flavor. The Big Italian was so bland. The only thing you could make out on the sandwhich was the pepperoni. Now I knew my Po Boy was going to have Tabasco sauce but that was all I could smell and taste. For the price of the food and drinks I don't think we'll be back.
Tara — Google review
Marvelous downtown T-town establishment that has lots of what you want in a good gastro/bar pub. Spacious, inviting atmosphere and patio, and staffed well. At the bar, I ordered the Pimento cheese and bacon burger with fries. The 1/2 pound of beef was solid and juicy, the bacon crispy, and pimento was tremendous. Fries were very good. I paired it with a Crunchy Hippie granola brown ale from Earnest Brew Works. A good complimentary dark beer that allows your palette to reset. Aside from the food, bartender was quite service-friendly, inviting so I would definitely return to Olde Durty Bird again!
Daran T — Google review
The Greek Crispy Bird is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Ever. The chicken is so so crispy and the tzatziki and feta and vegetables are great. Beautiful space, lovely welcoming hostess and warm professional server. I have an unusual but simple food allergy and our server and the kitchen were great about it. Everything about this place is just perfect.
Magda P — Google review
The food taste great and is nice and hot and full of flavor. The service was kind and calm while taking there time but getting their job done. They were playing some broke heart music so it wasn't so upbeat but after a bit it was changed. (Food photo is a meatball sub)
Summer K — Google review
Don't waste time looking for street parking like I did, they have a parking lot, it's just not obvious to 1st time visitors. There's a tree lined fence next to the patio that conceals it somewhat. Food was great. My fish n' chips were fried to perfection. I was just in Toledo on a day trip, but if I'm there again, I'd definitely revisit.

6/26/25 - Wonderful lunch! Chicken soup, hot and fabulous with plenty of chicken and vegetables. Plus and turkey sandwich on a fantastic rye. They just know how to it!! New review 12/27/2024... Yep, becoming repetitive, but again, another great experience, food, and service! Hot and fresh chicken noodle soup, so good! Grilled cheese, tomato, and bacon sandwich, very good, only issue...bacon not crisp. French fries, hot, crispy, and delicious. Overall, a great lunch! New review 9/17/2023. Wonderful chicken soup, fresh homemade, and hot. Excellent turkey sandwich and, importantly, excellent service from Tayor. I'm never disappointed and again, a great meal!! Excellent soups! Great service as well! First time there, definitely not the last. Nice to have a pub/restaurant with quality food!

Schmucker's Restaurant is a charming diner that has been serving classic American fare and comfort food since 1948. The homey atmosphere, with its yellow brick walls and original phone booth and lunch counter, takes you back in time. They offer a wide variety of dishes, from seafood to breakfast to home-style cooking. However, what sets them apart is their mouthwatering selection of over 20 flavors of pie.
Great diner experience. We stopped in for brunch and we were not disappointed. The home fries are crisp and delicious! I loved the garden omelette and my family member loved the burger. Be sure to save room for pie, yum! Our server seemed really rushed and annoyed but aside from that it was a great experience!
Carrie J — Google review
Cozy but bland Drove through the area and decided to try this diner during a busy lunch rush. There were no empty tables, so we had to wait a bit, which made us hopeful that the food would be amazing, given that it’s a popular local spot. Our waitress was accommodating, helpful, and kind, but the food was rather bland. The roast beef and roast beef sandwich lacked any flavour, and the gravy was mildly flavoured. The turkey club was decent; it was a little dry but still quite good. The portions were enormous; one plate could easily serve 1.5 people. The pricing is very affordable. I noticed that most of the patrons were elderly, so perhaps the food was tailored to their tastes. However, overall, I found it lacking in flavour.

Vintage classic all American diner! Super homey, feels like you’re in a small town here where locals come to eat and enjoy talking to each other. Service was great! Food was good! The pies were phenomenal! No complaints here. Enjoyed everything about this diner! Would love to come back again!

Small town diner in a big city. You can sit at the counter, table, or booth. Fries are made from fresh potatoes and absolutely delicious! Had to try the iconic "Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie". Very good, and highly recommend.

Wish I had pics of our food. Delicious and leftovers too. Actually I have a pic of my friends and I. Thanks for a great first visit, will be back probably tomorrow. Need pie for a dinner I'm going to.

Normally we dine earlier in the day and have breakfast, today however we picked up our grand daughter from camp and asked her if she wanted to go to Smuckers for dinner. My wife explained the 75 year history of the diner and how their pies were super good. That convinced her, so we stopped in. Our 11year old studied the menu and selected fried chicken, while we ordered Blimpy Burgers. I told her normally kids order burgers and adults chicken and she laughed. The fried chicken was done to perfection and the Burgers and fries were excellent. Our server was really good. We like the old time feel of the diner great ambiance. We were full, so we ordered pies to go after all what would it be like to eat at Smuckers and not get a pie.The pies were terrific Dutch Apple, chocolate and of course Key Lime! Well worth the stop!! I forgot to mention the fries are the best in town!
Ron D — Google review
Experience time travel and some real good home cooked food. I haven't been to Schmuker's in 20 years. It's just as I remember. It's all good guys. Huge portions! Pick a dinner and get the FULL COURSE. Your dinner will end with the best homemade pie you ever ate! Treat yourself or your family!

Overall a solid place to get breakfast if staying at the Renaissance. I ordered the Poutine for breakfast which had a nice combo of tater tots, sausage, gravy, and eggs that came on top. My wife got an omelette with everything in it. She said it was good and the cheesy potatoes were good also. Some service issues with toast not coming out, some omelettes that weren't prepared correctly for some people in our group. The physical aspect of this space is fine, easy to hear and carry on conversations.
Jim M — Google review
Food was okay, but for the price not good enough. They didn't have waffles for some reason so we got a pancake with our chicken. The atmosphere is odd and the windows are dirty. The table had a receipt tray under it but it was still wobbly. 2 chicken and "waffles" and 2 orange juices was 50 bucks. Probably won't return.
Alex B — Google review
We were staying at the hotel and came down for a few cocktails. The service was slow at the bar, even though they appeared to have enough staff, and the staff seemed uninterested in being there. It was very crowded due to number of holiday parties but no one had a sense of urgency except the bar backs. We left after one round of expensive cocktails. Do not order an Old Fashion here - the bartender that made ours had no idea what he was doing. The atmosphere was excellent and we loved the outdoor area. I am hopeful it was just an off night and maybe the staff was overwhelmed and tired from the holiday season. We will try again if we are back in the area.
Tamara K — Google review
We had a party of 13 attending Chef's Table Series: A Celebration of Love. Menu posted below, along with a few dinner pics. Dinner reservations ran a little late, but that didn't put a damper on the evening. Our wait staff were attentive, accommodating, pleasant & provided a great upscale dining experience. The ambiance was romantic & fun. The food was amazing! A 7 course dinner with a variety of foods to address anyone's dining palate. What a wonderfully fun & delicious dining experience! Each course perfectly paired with an adult drink. Chef Mike came out to tell us about each course. He was polite, addressed questions, but he was definitely kept busy that evening. My only complaint for the evening was the walleye dish was not hot. Mine & a couple of other's fish were more cold than warm. I was disappointed because it was tasty until I got to the cold part. To their defense they offered to remake each of ours. We declined because everyone else was already finishing up their course. Just didn't want to be the cause of further delay. Otherwise I cannot wait to have dinner there again. Definitely worth a second visit.
Dana P — Google review
Overall, this was not a great experience. Here for a birthday gathering and the service was slow, orders were not accurate, food was cold or overcooked, and the manager was less than accommodating and could not even pretend that he cared. I REALLY recommend that you select another establishment for brunch.
Ashlie C — Google review
Duck fat fries and caramelized pork belly - worth every cent spent. Loved both of the dishes and as a snack big portion , so having both I was already full. Service was pleasant and helpful. Had ok variety of beers - had two local draft IPAs, enjoyed both. All in all - really worth the visit.
Lech R — Google review
My sister and I stayed in the hotel last night so we came down to Bring House for brunch this morning. The restaurant was very beautiful, great lighting, and comfy booths. We ordered lattes, and they were not the best I have had but fine. I ordered the southern boy delight which was sausage gravy over biscuits with fried egg and a side of breakfast potatoes. It was delicious. My sister ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of the a la carte biscuits and gravy. There was some confusion because the paper menu and online menu listed the side as $3 but on the bill they were $7, so that was a little misleading. The size was the same as my biscuits and gravy so it is a better deal to order that, rather than paying $7 for breakfast potatoes since that is the main difference between the two. Our waiter was nice, and overall we enjoyed our meal and hotel experience!

Greek restaurant
Rumors is a casual eatery that offers a variety of Mediterranean dishes, including breakfast options. Visitors have praised the authentic Greek and Lebanese cuisine, with generous portions and flavorful offerings such as gyro meat, hummus, and Greek salad. The service is described as fast and friendly despite potential staffing challenges. While the ambiance is unassuming, the food quality has left patrons satisfied and eager to return for another meal.
Update: Ordered the Hummus and meat platter. Again, tons of food, but sadly, once again the chicken was pretty dry. Still enjoyed the meal. I think I prefer the combo as before because of the extra sauces. Order the gyro meat on the side & it was tender & flavorful. Still recommend eating here. I ordered the Starter Combo. It was plenty of food...more than I could eat in one setting. Came with a large serving of hummus, gyro meat & chicken, chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. Also on the side was pita & several sauces including garlic & tzatziki sauce. Very flavorful though the chicken was overcooked & a bit dry, the sauces & hummus made up for it. Overall, absolutely recommend & will come again.

I always enjoy dining here and today I ate breakfast for the first time. I had the eggs Benedict and was not disappointed. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the ham was tender and flavorful but the home fries were delicious and abundant to say the least.
Gary S — Google review
The Fattoush is great, though I personally didn’t like the addition of carrots. The falafel wasn’t good, but the meat dishes were excellent. Portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. However, they need to improve the chicken, as ours didn’t seem well-cooked or fresh. Overall, a good experience with some room for improvement.
Tony W — Google review
Our waitress Christina was top notch. The restaurant itself was sooooo cold we could barely stand it. I had a healthy omelette and it was nothing to write home about. The omelette was huge which some people may find appealing, but I will think twice about ever returning for breakfast
Patrick D — Google review
I’ve heard people rave about this place. First couple times I went, it wasn’t that good. Food lacked flavor, portion sizes small, insanely high priced. I thought I’d give it one more shot and ordered take out. They have a “cheese pizza with gyro meat and feta”. This is what that is. This cost $16. No feta and a few pieces of gyro meat thrown in the box. Maybe it’s my bad for ordering a pizza from here, but at least put the meat ON the pizza bro.
Erika H — Google review
Overall, the experience was average. On the positive side, the portions were very generous and the rice, hummus and Greek salad were very good. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was very good. However, the rest of the meal was subpar. I had the chicken kabob. The kabobs were on the dry side. She had the moussaka. There was very little eggplant, even though the menu said baked layers. And the 3 little pieces that were in the dish, were no more that the size of a half dollar. The "sliced" potatoes were in fact mostly mashed. And for some reason, it had rigatoni noodles, as well. The seasoning was very minimal.
Ken O — Google review
When looking for Lebanese and Greek foods...this is the place! The best gyro meat and hummus hands down. Delicious. The portions are humongous. The food is delicious. Our waiter MaCaila was wonderful. Please see 📸 pictures.
Casandra D — Google review
Had the platter for two. Found the meal to be overwhelmingly dry. All the meats on my platter were seriously under seasoned, maybe not even seasoned at all. The portion sizes were large overall, but you'd get better flavors at the local hospital cafeteria. Can't recommend.

In town for a concert last night. Looking for a breakfast spot, this was not it! Walked in, and we were only the second party seated. Service was slow, multiple tables came in after us and were seated and received their orders before we did. No coffee refresher, finally got our food and it was evident they had forgotten about our order. Toast was burnt to a crisp, asked for eggs over medium, and they may as well have been hard boiled. Sausage was undercooked, pancakes were raw in the middle. Potatoes were obviously reheated one too many times. No attempt was made at rectify anything. The kicker was giving us our bill and telling us we pay upfront. However, there was no one upfront, and after waiting for five minutes, left our cash on the counter and walked out. Would not recommend.

Good place, good prices for a really good amount of food! I tried the eggs and chocolate chip pancakes which were absolutely fantastic! We haven’t been there in a few years So we thought we’d try it again Well it’s nothing like it used to be the pancakes were small and paper thin for 8 dollars ridiculous! my waffle was ok I ordered it with strawberries “maybe had 2 total” and whipped cream “ hardly got any” 🤦🏻 and 2 cups of coffee which was fine and what little food we got was 30.00!! We won’t be back 😞

Food was great, menu had stuff that was weird which I like. Also had your normal stuff. Staff was friendly and attentive. They had a live band for brunch not my scene but im sure most people like it.

First time at this restaurant. Our server Jenna was very polite. She informed us that they were short staffed and the kitchen was backed up so it would be a while. That was fine. However, the atmosphere was weird. The owner (oldest gentlemen) was present. He was observed several times with alcoholic beverages in his hand and drinking. I observed him open and drink two Heinekens and a high noon along with sharing this with several waitresses that drank off of him. One waitress looked dead at me while drinking with a look of concern. My husband ordered an egg Benedick that was consisted of a boiled egg, view photos. My Buffalo chicken wrap was good. It was buffalos sauce inside a wrap with crispy chicken and other ingredients. Their fries were good and that was the only plus. I honestly wouldn’t come back. It gave legs and eggs and the all women staff was a bit strange.

Great flavor and service- I enjoyed eating here. Great Benedict dishes, kids meals are too crazy but covered all basic stuff, scrambled eggs, bacons and toast. I ordered French toasts , came out with 2 pieces and a syrup, for kids meal. I had Benedict Florentine, substitute potatoes with cottage cheese. Good coffee too. Service was very nice and quick. Breakfast took 20 mins for 4 orders. I would come back again.

IHOP, a beloved chain known for its extensive selection of pancakes and classic American breakfast dishes, offers a cozy diner experience that caters to all hours. While some guests have encountered mixed service experiences, many rave about the delicious food and quick preparation times. Particularly during nighttime visits, patrons have noted an improvement in service quality under the management of Valerie, who is praised for her attentive customer care.
Shaylynn, Alicia, Amy, Jade, Angelo amazing staff. Best coffee in the country. Onion rings made by Arnold are the best I've ever had. Salvador has an amazing crew and has worked very hard to build his team. By far best restaurant and staff!!!!!

BRO. No way after a long day I ordered ihop and they got my WHOLE ORDER WRONG. WHERES MY QUESADILLA??? i ordered cheesecake pancake and got plain regular pancakes, had no sauce or syrups, i’m missing my extra sides… the food doesn’t even look good.
Star — Google review
Great experience but it wasn't the food. The food was good but the service was excellent. My twins wanted pancakes for dinner and we were there early around 3 o'clock. So it wasn't busy but our server was the best had the girls dancing and everything. He really went out of his way to make it special, and he didn't know it was their birthday until the very end! If you see Angelo, you won't be disappointed. I am terrible with names, and I think I said thanks with the wrong name after dinner, so I wanted to leave a review. Thanks Angelo for the IHOP dance!!! 🥄

I haven’t been to Ohio in years and decided to stop in @ the Talmadge Rd location…we were seated right away, and the food was decent, the coffee was not so hot..tasted old, the atmosphere seemed ok until i noticed the ceiling fan above us..just happy it wasn’t on flinging the grime on it over our meals🤢
Sonya H — Google review
The quality of this IHOP has really gone down in recent years. After this last experience, I would suggest either going to the IHOP on Airport Hwy or skip IHOP completely if the Talmadge location is the only one you can get to. We were immediately seated, but it was obviously very tense. The waitresses seemed very flustered and overwhelmed, but the restaurant looked under a third full. I went in on a Saturday morning at 10am with my husband and mom. Destiny was our waitress. While very sweet, I had to explain my order multiple times to her. All I wanted was the breakfast sampler and a biscuit on the side with a couple of butter packages. My mom ordered pancakes and sausage. We waited at least 20 minutes for our food. Destiny did tell us the kitchen was backed up, but when we got our food, it was barely room temperature. Destiny didn't even bring our food, one of the other waitresses did. Then Destiny came to our table to apologize for not bringing our food because she got too busy...To top off this interaction, we were halfway through our meal when she asked if we wanted the check and then told us how the 2 tables she had before us gave her a $10 tip and that she hoped the streak would continue. I gave her a 20% tip because I always give at least 20%, but I honestly regret it. I will not be coming back to this establishment.

We tried to dine this evening at the IHop on Monroe St. in Toledo, Ohio and they did not want to seat us. Once they did seat us, they ignored us for twenty minutes so we got up and walked out of the restaurant. The restaurant was not busy at all because it was 11:45pm. It was not a clean atmosphere either. It was very disappointing. We definitely give it a one star!
Angie Z — Google review
Waited 20 minutes for to-go food while the only server on the clock stood in the kitchen fighting with the only cook in the place over missing food. Plenty of other customers were left waiting at their tables during all of this, and a family of 5 waited for 15 minutes to get a table.
Michael S — Google review
Service was not great we saw our waitress to take our order and to bring our bill. No coffee refills on coffee that cost 3.29. Food was like warm when it came out. If I am going to spend 30+ dollars on 2 people for breakfast I expect it hot and for somebody to come around and fill my coffee. I will not be going back.

Star Diner is a casual spot that serves generous portions of classic American dishes for breakfast and lunch. The pancakes are particularly noteworthy for their large size and delicious taste, resembling a perfect combination of French toast and pancakes. Despite some minor issues with the fries, the overall dining experience is usually great with friendly service and hot, tasty food. The restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and efficient service make it a pleasant place to enjoy a satisfying meal.
Great lunch spot food is good fresh and not over priced service is on point also

I ordered breakfast the 1095 meal., scrambled eggs, sausage, links, fried potatoes.Toast.. The toast was cold and hard with melted butter on it. The scrambled eggs we're mushy, like they were milk carton scramblers. The fried potatoes looked good. It had a real bad funky, taste even loaded in ketchup, couldn't cover up the bad taste... The sausage links was just nasty. Bacon, hard and very thick. The waitress didn't even question why most of my food was still sitting on the plate, she just said, have a good day and threw the bill at me. She wasn't even interested why I didn't eat my food? Therefore I had to pay for it But there was no tip. And I will not be returning, nor will my company. They agreed about the food.

Currently enjoying a chicken skillet here. The portions are great. My go to is the California skillet, but I figured, let's break up the norm. If I knew these skillet dishes were this size years ago, I would have been here during my bodybuilding/ powerlifting days 💪🏾. The waitresses are pleasant to all of the customers, also. Keep up the good work 👍🏾.
Gerald N — Google review
Very good! The pancakes are huge (compared to a water bottle to show) and so yummy. They’re like all the perfection of French toast and pancakes in one. They’re eggy, fluffy, and not super sweet so that when you mix them with syrup and butter, there’s a distinct feeling of being transported to a simpler time. The fries were okay, a bit over cooked (the photo is not the full portion, about 2/3rds of it) but still, the bitterness was nice compared to the weight of a pancake. All in all though, I would come here again, and I recommend everyone to give this place a chance.

Reynolds Garden Cafe has recently undergone upgrades, showing the owners' dedication to their business. The restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with friendly service and delicious food. Customers appreciate the large portions, variety of menu options, and reasonable prices. Despite some mixed experiences, many patrons find themselves returning to this spot as it becomes one of their favorite places to eat.
First time here. went to have breakfast with my sister & niece that were in town for a baby shower. We were able to walk right in and be seated (6 of us at 9:30am) Was a comfortable breakfast atmosphere. And very good prices. The waitress was very attentive and refilled our drinks when they got low.

This place was booming when we got here but was seated right away. Very impressed on how quickly we were served and had food on the table. The shrimp was good but nothing to run home and tell Mom about but according to the better half the Banana Waffle was to die for. Our server was more than impressive. If we are ever around this area again we will be back and if you haven't been here before I highly recommend trying it out.

My family hadn’t eaten here since last Mother’s Day. After today we will not be back ever again. We never even used the complimentary coupon I received last time because we intended to bring the entire family next week. The last time the waitress was horrible. This time we went for takeout. They undercooked my hash browns AGAIN. All 3 orders were gross but I asked for mine well done and they did not look any better. I had to recook my meal at home. My food was also missing 2 ingredients. My family is very sad because we used to eat here 2-3 times a month. Long story short, if you like good food. This is not your place.
Maria C — Google review
UPDATED REVIEW 2/22/25 Unfortunately this place has become another hit and miss restaurant. Occasionally you will luck out and get a good meal and service to go along with it. At this point, with the rapid decline in quality at most places now, I would settle for just a good meal and deal with the lack of service. On the latest visit here, our server neglected our table for a good 15 minutes, instead choosing to bus her tables, which they had staff to do this and visiting with her friends. At this point I was in search of another server and table. We finally placed our orders with different server. When the meals came to the table, I had a nice long black hair sticking out of my hashbrowns. Enough said.

Unfortunately this is the first time I was not happy. I was with a group of 8. We did address the problem to the manager at checkout. She was very kind and understanding. The food was so dry, overcooked. I had an omelet. It was supposed to have cheese. It was as though a bit of cheese was sprinkled on top of the omelet
Denise T — Google review
RGC is a welcoming, warm environment even when bustling with patrons. The selection of dishes is broad, I can always find something that satisfies. Granted, I personally am looking for comfort food akin to traditional home cooked meals in my family home and this place answers that desire. The staff is always welcoming and allows a relaxing patron experience, even during very busy periods of the day.
Greg R — Google review
I really wanted to like this place since it was close to home. Unfortunately, out of the 7 or 8 to go orders that we have placed, half of them were missing items, and the last order, we were told we didn't order one of the items when I know we did. They might be great with indoor service, but their to - go service needs a lot of work. There is no reason why we should be missing an item of our meal every other order,

MaMa's Kitchen is a hidden gem with an old-fashioned diner atmosphere and generous portions. The food is delicious, and the complimentary Mama's beans are fantastic. The servers, like Brittany and Ann, provide excellent service. The country fried steak and gravy are particularly recommended. Despite being a small hole-in-the-wall joint, MaMa's Kitchen offers down-to-earth food with great value for money.
Had a quick breakfast with an old friend before heading back to Canada. She suggested Mama's kitchen which reminds me of a family run restaurant back home. It's a very tiny spot and clearly very popular because there was a line out the door to be seated. The lineup went quickly though. We went to this place on a Sunday. The service was incredibly incredibly friendly and everyone was super personable. The food portions are more than enough. I ended up taking part of my breakfast across the border to have the very next day. I love their potato hash and next time will get their home fries instead. I got to try a little of both because my friend order the opposite of what I had. Definitely definitely would come back

Perfect little diner. Menu looks great - we settled on omelets, which were huge-along with a side of grits. The Greek and Garbage, to be specific. We sat at the counter, and Brittany was outstanding! She was attentive and SO friendly to everyone she was waiting on. We'll definitely be back! 😋 Nice job!

This was my first time coming here but it won't be my last. My dad has been bringing his workers up here for the past 10 years but this was my first time going. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and got the hash browns right on top of it I also opted to try the beans which she recommended and I guess that comes with every order up there. The biscuits and gravy were cooked absolutely perfect in the flavor was terrific. The hash browns were also cooked perfectly. The beans had hamburgers and like kidney beans combination into them they were sweet a little bit but the flavor was absolutely incredible. I can't say enough about this place and I cannot wait to go back to try the other things. It's just a really neat place and the service was good as well

This is a basic, no-frills diner, not a fancy breakfast or brunch place. But for what it is, it's excellent and high value for the money. The servers are friendly, kind, and funny. The food is standard diner breakfast executed extremely well so it's very tasty. The coffee is above average for a breakfast place. The bathrooms are clean. It's not too noisy, there's plenty of parking, and it's good for a couple people or a crowd. This was my first time there today and I'll come back again and again. Regretting not taking photos of my excellent breakfast sandwich.

Food was great. Was in for breakfast. Wait staff was very attentive to your needs. Rather small restaurant but if you don’t mind that or a little wait, it is well worth it. Everything was done as ordered.

Used to love this place, would come every day to get fries and every once in awhile a burger or chicken sandwich. A week ago I got a burger and fries which I had to return because it had a hair stuck to my burger under my cheese when I went to return it heather the head waitress was incredibly rude and tried to down play it so other customers did not hear, in addition I still have not yet received my money back for this meal when I went in to speak to someone about it I was told there is nothing that can be done… so if I get my money back cool if not well I’ll just be out $12.98 I will not be returning to eat, due to heathers rudeness and nothing can be done.. super unfortunate as this was one of my favorite places 😔

We live it here! When we travel to Toledo, which is about once every 3 to 4 months, we always stop at the diner for breakfast. Our server is very friendly. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is just as good. I feel were pretty much a regular as one of the serversrecognizes us when we’re there. It makes us feel like we’re one of the family. This time we even got to sit with our old friends. Lol definitely we’re stopping in for breakfast.

The service was horrible, make sure you go in before you get hungry. Getting someone to wait on you in this place is like asking them to bend over backwards. Not one employee smiled they all looked miserable to be there. The food was not good, everything was dried out and overcooked, don’t send it back because you’ll be there for another hr waiting for it to come back out. Not worth the trip, let alone the money.

When you walk into a place like this you know the experience is going to go one of two ways. But luckily it was fantastic. Sure, the place probably hasn't been updated in 40 years, but that's part of the appeal. The food is fantastic, and they have a huge variety of options on the menu. It wasn't even outrageously busy for a Sunday brunch. They even offer waffle halfs and quarters so you can sample all of the flavors. Prices are very reasonable and I'd highly recommend.

It’s great to see establishments like this, still going strong when many have closed their doors for good, especially with COVID. It’s also great to eat inside, missing what wasn’t possible during the height of the pandemic. If you’re a fan of breakfast, this is your place, and then some. More waffle varieties and breakfast options than your average chain diner can touch. If you’re hungry here, you WILL be stuffed and wanting a nap. Fresh and delicious food with faithful customers to prove it.

The Jumpstart Sandwich paired with an Iced Vanilla Latte comes highly recommended for its delicious flavors. A visit to City Egg promises a delightful dining experience that's worth every penny, making it a top choice for those passing through Toledo.
Quiet atmosphere, great value, and solid food. I love that the space was calm even during the day—made for a peaceful break. My only frustration is that breakfast sandwiches are only available mid-day if you dine in. That said, $12 for a single and a double sandwich combo? Can’t beat that! Definitely a good spot when you want something satisfying without the noise. Looking forward to sitting outside on the warmer weather!
Crystal K — Google review
Stumbled upon City Egg tucked away by the City Park. The interior was surprisingly bright and clean, giving off a cozy "grandma's kitchen" vibe. Ordering was a breeze at the self-kiosk, with pictures to help guide your choices. Opted for the Westgate Bowl with extra hash browns and a C-Bus Juice. The breakfast was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Some ingredients tasted a bit processed or frozen, and the hash browns were slightly undercooked. However, the C-Bus Juice was the star of the show - bursting with fresh flavor! I'll definitely be back to explore their other juice options. As for the food, it was passable, but not something I'd crave. The staff seemed a bit indifferent, but it was a holiday and the place was empty, so perhaps they were just bored. Overall, City Egg is an okay spot for a quick, simple breakfast, but the real highlight is their delicious juice selection.

This breakfast spot is in downtown Toledo there is plenty of off street parking. The restaurant was clean and neat and they have an open seating dining area. The workers were friendly and the menu is posted on the windows so you can see it as you’re walking up. The prices are reasonable, there was a short waiting time and the food was good.

I have been coming here for at least 5 years consistently. I love the location, vibes, and of course, the food. I always switch things up and am never disappointed. Today, there was a hard piece of vegetable fiber in the omelette, I proceeded to inform the chef l. He let me know that it was a piece of zucchini. I told him that it was no big deal. I just wanted to be sure that it wasn't anything else. Which, after his explanation, it was obvious that it was a zucchini, just maybe a tiny bit old or an end piece. While finishing my meal, August made her way over and again apologized and gave me a free voucher for next time. By no means would this experience have halted me from coming back but that action insured my business for life. No company is perfect, but handling the situations that aren't optimal with such professionalism, speaks volume to the integrity of the business and culture. Thank you to Trae, August, and the rest of the team for a great experience!

First off its a self serve kiosk. So ordering may take a little longer for some people but I don't mind personally. Everything is clean and tidy. Orders are displayed on screens around the restaurant. Ordered a South of the Border Omelet with hash browns. No complaints. Some Blueberry French toast. It closes early in the day so come early

We visited City Egg while on a visit to Toledo. It is walking distance from many of the downtown hotels. They have a really cool concept where you place your order on a kiosk and find yourself a seat. There are TV screen displays to show you where your order is in the process. Your name is announced when your order is ready. It was smooth and easy. The food was amazing and the restaurant was extremely clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you visit downtown Toledo!!

You get more than what you pay for! Large portions, incredible flavors and a never ending cup of coffee. My hubby and I had breakfast last Sunday at this diner. It was so nostalgic with old photos on the walls of past movie stars. Colored checkered floor reminds us of the 50's diners. The wait staff and owners wife were absolutely delightful. If you get a chance to visit this diner, please do so. You will not be disappointed in the service, the food or the atmosphere. We give this diner 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!

So this situation was so dumbfounding to me that I decided to create a google account just to make this review, this waitress named Sonia (I believe that is how you spell it?) on Wednesday (09/10/2025) was incredibly rude and we felt rushed to eat our food and get out, the rest of the staff was fantastic and kind so we aren't sure why we were treated this way by this one server but anyways continuing on, the same server our group witnessed her smoking or vaping whatever they call it IN THE BUILDING! How the Health Department hasn't gotten involved yet is beyond me! We might go back because the food was good but we definitely do not want that waitress as our server, hopefully management does something to correct this so our experience the next time is a better one.

French toast is phenomenal, portions sizes big and fast service. a little pricier this time around as my manager was upset it cost 70us for 3 people. Glad to see frank the regular again

Scramblers is a popular local chain known for its casual American breakfast and lunch options, ranging from French toast to burgers. The restaurant in Toledo offers a wonderful dining experience with efficient service despite being busy. The layout features semi-private sections of 3 to 4 tables each, creating a quieter and more enjoyable atmosphere. While some guests experienced minor service issues, the food and coffee were praised for their quality.
Update 5/25 it is closed!! Definitely very good. Service was good and fast, you can have coffee while waiting for your table, the food is not in large portions because it is not the kind of restaurant to do that, taste was nice. Prices are reasonable. One coffee is enough for two people. The water is served with lime on a pitcher, which is nice.

Ordered veggie omlette mini, and breakfast sandwich. Great service. Awesome taste . We had to leave in half hr due to work and thr staff served, helped run the check soon and we left in half hr after eating healthy breakfastm

Eggs were fantastic but the portion was smaller than expected. 3$ coffee enough for 2 people was great too! Overall 4 stars because the blueberry muffin was horrible not recommended
Paul A — Google review
It's a really nice place, clean, modern. The menu had appetizing entrees. The only problem we had was the service. We ordered coffee and a glass of water and after almost 15 minutes we never got it and our order hadn't been taken, and that's with three waitresses working and the place wasn't busy. I look forward to going to another scramblers just not this one
Scott H — Google review
Offered a delicious and amazing American breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. The waiter served us with high hospitality, remarkably with her smile. Everything was so nice and most importantly can enjoy the food in the snowy weather.

I had a host named jace and he is so sweet and amazing at his job! they definitely do good work with the people they hire!! i will now forevr keep coming back to see jace i love him to death!

Everyone is friendly but the servers are very young and constantly apologizing for mistakes. The food lacks flavor. We dined for breakfast on 1/19/2025 and we're seated right away. I was charged extra for a side that came with my meal and did not get part of my meal because she said it didn't come with it, the menu said it did. Breakfast for 2 was $50. The coffee was horrible and it was $4!

Very clean and updated decor Omelette always consistent A little pricey especially the coffee but value is fine. A regular spot to meet friends for bfast. Always good service, easy to park, etc

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in Toledo, Ohio, Kaslly's Kitchen is a delightful breakfast and brunch spot that has quickly become a local favorite. With an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, it’s the perfect place to start your day. Diners rave about the mouthwatering biscuits and gravy, as well as other hearty options like eggs, hash browns, and sausage. Many patrons find themselves sampling various dishes due to the tempting menu offerings.
We absolutely love this place we come about every other morning for brunch. Food is amazing Shannon is our favorite! Absolutely adore her! Only thing is they rarely wash their hand between taking dirty dish’s, handling cash and then grabbing toast out of the toaster with no gloves and no hand washing took place :(

Always a good place for breakfast, kind and nice staff. Making everything possible. Good coffee :)
Jan S — Google review
1st time here, I ordered more than I could eat but I wanted to sample everything 🤣 well I can now see for myself what all the ranting and raving is about. Everything was absolutely amazing. The flavor of the good was absolutely amazing. The moral amongst all the locals, they even mentioned "I was a new face" is just amazing. A little guy walked in and wished 1 of the busboys a happy birthday and next thing I know.....everyone in the whole Diner is singing happy birthday to him. This place is what we need more of today, all the good Ole mom n pop diners with kind souls and happy hearts. By the way, I'm the lady who's from Findlay, the gal checking me out told me her sister lives here, small world. But hey, I'll be back for more delicious food.
Jeanette T — Google review
Had a hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. What I got was a plate full of gravy with the food drowning in it. The meat was perfect nice and tender however, the bread was a sloppy soggy mess . Not to mention the table was dirty..had grease marks on it..I know they were at a busy lunch rush, but still..Dissatisfied and disappointed
Laura — Google review
Been going there many many years. Food is good and service is quick. Liz is the best server. Can’t beat the place for a good breakfast or lunch.

Great food and prices. The staff is kind. More ventilation would be great. It's not that you can't breathe but you leave there smelling like food. But well worth it

Dropped in on a quick visit to town. Affordable, good quality food and delicious! Highly recommend for breakfast! Thanks for the smile and great service, Liz.

Brandywine Country Club, located in the charming town of Maumee, Ohio, has established itself as a premier golfing destination since its grand opening 50 years ago. Recently revamped with an exciting new 18-hole layout, this course is a delight for both seasoned golfers and newcomers alike. Even if you're not a member, you can savor delicious meals at the Champions Bar & Grille while soaking in stunning views of the lush fairways.
First time golfing here, and It was in great shape for being early April. It was cart path only for my round, so I got my steps in for sure. The carts were like brand new, the pro shop looked to have what you would need, and all the staff we encountered were very polite and personable. Can't wait to see what it's like later this summer. Pictures don't do the layout any justice.

We went for a group meeting. Were given an out of the way spot in the dining room, very relaxed for us. Service was top drawer. Prices were in line and food was excellent! Definitely got our money's worth. Would recommend highly
Maureen S — Google review
I came down from Michigan to play somewhere different. For the price, it was not a bad deal. The tee boxes were in rough shape for early in the season. The greens were cement fast, hopefully with more rain they will soften up. The layout is interesting for a few holes, but it is generally playable for all skill levels. Lots of bunkers, not in terrible shape. The carts do have GPS which is a nice feature and have warnings when you approach off limit areas. We had an issue with our Cart stalling out, but we called the clubhouse and they brought us a replacement. A lot of the front 9 fairways had dandelions everywhere around them in the rough, a long thick rough making it harder to spot a haphazard shot. Overall if you're looking for a budget round, and you live close, not the worst. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pace of play wasn't bad either, 4.5 hours for 18.
Jon L — Google review
Stupid carts shut you down everywhere you try to drive including the cart path, I had to push a cart about 99yards to get it back to the path on one hole! most other courses that have this system let you go in reverse to get back, not this one! Including shutting it down on a cart path( pictured) we wereHungry and found out you can't get anything to eat on Sundays and Mondays( nothing at all) Staff was friendly greens were nice
Wayne S — Google review
Course conditions didn’t match the $52 we were charged for a Friday morning. Most fairways were full of bare spots. Tee boxes looked similar with some having you hitting off of weeds. Play this course multiple times a year and this was the worst I have seen it. I will say greens were running quick and true and maintenance was out our entire round so they are working on it. However, I feel prices should be adjusted until these issues are resolved.

Very disappointed....dining area where we sat had a wedding party parading in & out constantly. We waited at least 20 min for the only waitress waiting on tables to bring us menus. No water served while waiting or bread. We were only couple along with people sitting in bar area. Finally soup/salad came out....still no bread because oven was full of appetizers for wedding party. Salmon was grilled but so salty couldn't eat but few bites. My husband's prime rib was prepared to his request but had no flavor along with the auj jaus. Needless to say we will not b returning .....very disappointed. Could've eaten better at McDonald's!

Two of my family members ate at the Easter Buffet yesterday and they were disappointed in the food. My elderly mother said the food was terrible and she never complains. Cafeteria quality. Low grade for a country club. I recall the same when I ate there aprox five years ago. Will not go back.

We always have amazing food and service at Brandywine. The owners and management care about the quality of food and the guests’ experiences. The salmon, scallops, perch, and lamb chops never disappoint! They have fun events and pool parties that are open to the public. This is an absolute gem for our community!

Bistro
Saba's Bistro is a hidden gem located within the Holiday Inn in Maumee, Ohio. Despite being relatively unknown, this independent restaurant offers a diverse menu designed to satisfy various cravings. The bistro exudes a quaint charm and provides attentive service, making the dining experience both enjoyable and informative. While some patrons have noted that the turkey club sandwich was slightly bland, others have praised the excellent half-pound burgers cooked to perfection and the selection of local beers and IPAs.
I stopped to have dinner prior to go to a Broadway Show. Upon arrival we told the server we had limited time. She understood. Our food and service was really good. The drinks were also great and priced right. Try the Pineapple Moscow Mule. It was really refreshing!!! I will be back!!!

Not impressed... Service: 2/10 Made a reservation for 6pm for 6, 3 kids and 3 adults. Arrived on time and was seated right away, the restaurant was half full. They had a bartender, 2 servers, and I'm assuming the manager, working the floor. Our server was on the struggle bus... Took forever to take our drink order, which was only 2 drinks, a mixed drink and a bottled coors, 35 minutes after being seated. Took nearly 45 minutes before rolls were brought to us, an hour before we received our food. Our server was practically non-existent. The manager however was nice, she brought our kids crayons and multiple coloring pages. Best part was we avoided the automatic 20% gratuity being added to the bill, whichxis automatic with a party of 6 or more. Food: My wife ordered the paradise burger, based on the burger guy review and said it was good, 7/10. I ordered the mushroom and onion swiss cheese burger and it was a 4/10. The burger meat had no flavor and the mushrooms were pretty cold. Their fresh cut fries were awesome! Kids ordered basic stuff. We also had an order of baby rack ribs which were very good, 8/10! The rolls we got were super good and soft, we also had an order of Bavarian pretzels that were really good. It definitely has potential to be better. But with the price of their basic burger being $17 and the service lacking, I'm not sure we will return.

Thank God I looked at the reviews otherwise I would have never known that this restaurant was in the hotel. While waiting for the rest of our party which was a little time The staff never really stopped to see if we wanted an appetizer or anything so we had to flag them down for that. The spinach and artichoke dip was really good after we sent it back to get heated up. The entrees were really good the steak was cooked great the chicken was crispy but moist on the inside and the sauce with the chicken was great overall the food was a positive experience. My main complaints were the wait times we had to wait a long time for our food we had to wait a long time to get our bill cashed out we had the wait for refills on their drinks.
V L — Google review
I had a long, hard day traveling and I was totally pampered. Everyone took such great care of me. My fish sandwich and levies were made to order (no bun, and no seasoning on the fries). They were perfect! The amount of food was more than ample, way more than I needed! Would I eat here again? Absolutely!!
Carol J — Google review
Wow - we are really impressed! Our bartender Linda was extremely helpful, made me a custom cocktail, and was very helpful picking out food from the menu. My husband got the walleye and I got the perch. Everything was fantastic and the service was outstanding - friendly and helpful. We’ll be back

I watched the Burger Review Guy, so I came 1hr away for the $17 9.7 rating burger, I got the Jalapeno yet I messed up and ordered medium rare. They cooked it perfectly!! I think this burger would be even better at medium or +. Zero complaints on service. I read lesser reviews on service and wait time. I was told 45 minutes wait when ordered yet........25 minutes+/- I was fully served. Water & Lemon great. Mix drink was nice. Spinach Artichoke wasn't a home run yet still good. Nothing negative here, I'm stuffed. I can easily see A lot of 9 out of 10 ratings. Doesn't matter, I enjoy quality and that's what I got. Thank you.
ANVIL * — Google review
I was thoroughly disappointed. I can't say that I enjoyed the bacon burger. I came here because of the burger review guy and the rating he gave. I ordered the bacon burger and it was the blandest burger I ever tasted. I felt misled and lied to by the burger review guy. Its robbery to charge what they do for a burger when they should be selling it for like $7, not $17. Definitely not worth the trip, time, and money.

I had a great experience at Saba’s Bistro this past weekend. But for those that do not know, it is a little bit hidden. It’s tucked away in the Holiday Inn off of Reynold’s Road in Maumee, near the turnpike access. My friend and I arrived a little early, before they had opened. But they still invited us in and let us sit at the bar as they finished their preparations. Because of its location, I suspected they were not going to be many guests, but I was wrong. By the time we left at about 6 PM on a Saturday night, Saba’s was getting packed. People were showing up with reservations. The food was very good. My friend digged it the most. He likes fresh fish, and they have a great selection. The décor was very hip, not what I would have ever suspected in a Holiday Inn collocated restaurant. Our server, the bartender, was attentive, even though she was swamped with work. The owner even came to ask us how we were doing and if there was anything she could do better. Answer: no – everything was top notch. I recommend you check it out. Show up at 5 PM sharp to avoid the rush. Since it is at a hotel, plenty of free parking and easy accessibility.
