Very popular with locals and visitors as seen by their consistently great reviews. We finally made the trek over to test them out. Loved the laidback old world vibe. The restored heritage building facade added to the feels. Interior is not super big so we took a table outside. There's a wait both for a table and for food to arrive so prepare for both. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. More sweets and takeaway sandwiches available in the counter. The service was lukewarm but efficient. Coffee was strong just the way we like. Will recommend a visit.

I came here on the recommendation of my partner, and could have proposed by the time we left! It was busy, hectic and teeming with people at 10:45am when we arrived. Yet the friendly and amazing hostess was able to seat us in minutes. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and the inside seating made my back and buns smile. The coffee was so delicious I had to have two… and then try not to look like I was having an epileptic fit with the jitters. And the food was also slap your grand-mama good. Excellent value for the dollar with good portioning. I waddled out. We will definitely be going back.

Sayers Sister is a really popular spot, so be prepared for a bit of a queue, especially during peak times. But honestly, it's usually worth it because the food is consistently good, and their coffee is top-notch! They do a great job with their dishes, and you can tell it's a favourite with the locals for a reason. If you don't mind the wait, you're in for a good feed and a cracking brew.

Food is great. Service right up there. Super friendly staff and good coffee. If I could give 4.9 it would be for chlorinated tap water. But thats just me liking healthy options, even when it’s free. Good spot for quality cafe options 👍🏻

very cute cafe, cosy vibes, did get a bit ignored by staff and was fobbed off when i tried to ask about the daily salad. had the corn brushetta, Corn was smokey and nice, the rocket was dressed in the whipped feta so creamy and a bit salty, the chimichurri sauce was on the sourdough not super strong flavourwise. the dishes all taste very similar, heavy on dukkah and balsamic.

One of the best cafes I have tried. The food was tasty, presentation was aesthetically pleasing, environment super relaxing, staffs super friendly so honestly I’d give a 10/10.

Delicious Breakfast and Amazing Experience! We had a fantastic breakfast — everything was perfect! The atmosphere and service were exceptional, with a beautifully decorated space that felt warm and inviting. Most importantly, the food was wonderful — perfectly presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Even my 9-year-old daughter loved her meal! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Great cafe for breakfast & coffee! Such a delicious and diverse rang of foods they serve on their “all day menu”. The beef brisket with potatoes was DELICIOUS! Everything the table ordered looked and tasted great. The atmosphere was really nice, and really spacious. Great for meeting a friend for coffee, or eating with a larger group. If you’re wanting to eat with 4+ people I recommend reserving a table ahead of time for weekends as it gets busy. Really great spot, will definitely come back again! 10/10 😁

We went for breakfast, ordered scrambled eggs and bacon, pretty standard stuff. Also had the hash brown, mushrooms and poached egg. Food was ok, but the poached eggs on the mushrooms were barely cooked and the white was raw on the inside. The biggest problem is the noise. You can’t hear yourself think !! That is enough for us to go elsewhere as there are plenty of other choices.

Waited for more than 45 min for the food. The kid $12 fried chicken meal looked absolutely unappetising. A Chicken Treat meal looks and tastes better. They didn’t serve it until I asked them to. They said they were waiting for the other food to come together, which they messed up the orders too. Well done for letting kid meal sitting there and for the kid to wait hungry. One adult food didn’t come until another 20 min later, then I had to chase for the other adult meal after that. Absolute bad experience and average food.

You MUST try their Breakfast Gnocchi!!! It was absolutely to die for, and the additional side their house smoked salmon was the best smoked salmon I’ve had in a long time (and I eat a lot of smoked salmon), it had a deep oaky smoked flavour and was incredibly fresh and not at all fishy or slimy like cafe smoked salmon often is. The matcha was well-made with a good quality matcha powder which I appreciate. The service was friendly and welcoming in a relaxed atmosphere. It was my second visit and I will definitely be returning more and more!

Celebrating and spending a special day with my Mum. Beautiful interior comfortable seating and able to hear each other speak. Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed bottomless non alcoholic high tea. Will be coming back soon to try other specialises.

Absolutely love May Street Larder! It’s such a cozy spot — I’ve had lunch here a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, with so many gluten-free options (which is a huge win for someone who’s gluten intolerant!). Big shoutout to the super kind barista who made us a last-minute coffee just before closing — really appreciated the friendly service. Can’t wait to come back!

Waffles here are always top notch and never disappoint. They also have a good selection of hot and cold drinks to pair with the waffles. My go to is the Brussels waffle which is usually thin, crispy and light. It goes well with healthier fruit toppings (which is what I convince myself). Only thing is that it is a small place and there is usually a queue during peak hours.

Such a great little spot for waffles! And everything is made fresh to order. The waffles are light and crispy on the outside with a nice fluffiness inside , not too heavy, just right. This shop is truly amazing — and not just because of their waffles! The staff are incredibly professional and kind. My dad suddenly felt unwell and nearly fainted near the entrance. The staff (possibly the owner) immediately brought him warm water, helped him sit down, and made sure he was okay before anything else. We originally ordered to dine in, but since my dad wasn’t feeling well, we asked if we could take it away instead — even though the waffle had already been beautifully plated. The staff were so understanding. He carefully repackaged everything into takeaway containers, with fresh sauces and ice cream placed separately — not letting anything mix together. When we got home and finally had the dessert, it still tasted absolutely amazing. Because of how carefully he repacked it, the waffle stayed crispy and the ice cream didn’t melt. I was genuinely surprised by how good it still was. A big thank you to the staff (sorry I didn’t get your name) — your kindness made a big difference that day.😊

We visited Pitcher and Iron for the second time and loved it again! We tried two different waffle styles, including the Brussels, and both were absolutely delicious. My kids enjoyed them so much. We’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone!

This is my favourite waffles place in Perth! I have been going there for the past 2 years & it never gets old. The very kind & cheerful chef "Edwin" who makes the waffles there is the reason why the consistency is perfect every single time. Edwin is a perfectionist when it comes to decorating the plate & making it look like a piece of art on a plate. The staff members there are also very nice & welcoming, and they work so hard to deliver the best quality as fast as possible. When it comes to choosing the waffle base, every person would have their preference. I prefer the Liege dough compared to the Brussels dough as I love its dense inner core and the crunchy outer surface. My favourite waffle flavours there are the Cashewal Affair, Apple Crumble, Spectacular Speculoos, Nutella, and the new Tiramisu flavour is my favourite. Also, I really love their summer / fall special Mango Coconut smoothie drink which is always so refreshing and yummy. All their ingredients & fruits are of high quality and always perfectly combined with the waffles even for the add ons. Overall, I am so glad we have such a fantastic dessert shop in WA and I can't wait for more new flavours to try!

The place is a little small, but that just adds to its cosy charm. I went there on a rainy Saturday evening, and it was absolutely packed with people — always a good sign! We ordered the Liège waffle, and it was fantastic. I haven’t been to many other dessert shops, but this one really impressed me. The waffle was warm, rich, and perfectly sweet — comfort food at its best on a rainy day. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

Really great experience, as a first timer in a group. Delectable variety to choose from, the strawberry fields is nice. But do double check if they got it correctly. Would recommend & extremely friendly staff.

This cute little cafe is so adorable! Not a lot of room for lots of people to sit but there is a few tables and chairs. We had bagels. Daughter had a chicken bagel which she said was tasty and I had a mini cream cheese and cheese and ham bagel which was cute but a little plain which maybe would be nice with some relish or chutney perhaps imo. Daughter had iced mocha which she really liked and was impressed with the real chocolate decoration on top. I had an iced cappuccino which was nice. Decor is lovely with lots of exposed brick and knick knacks. Service was pleasant and place was clean. Cabinets had desserts and mainly bagels,wraps and sandwiches for savouries.

A cute little coffee shop with industrial vibe of brick walls and wooden tables and metal chairs. Was looking for a coffee shop that opens on weekends and this is one of the places that open early. They roast their own coffee hence for the variety of beans and flavours profile to choose from. Mocha was good but a tad too sweet. Strong coffee flavours.

Definitely a lifesaver on a Sunday in the CBD when most coffee spots are closed. It was cold and rainy outside, but stepping into the shop felt so warm and cosy. The coffee was great, and I especially loved the orange bread!

Walked by and followed our noses to this little cafe. Located in the heart of Perth downtown, this place used a variety of blends including those from 5 Senses. Enjoyed our cappuccino and flat white!

Despite being a franchise coffee shop, La Veen offers the best muffins. Not the biggest muffins, just the best. The apple cinnamon has a healthy dose of cinnamon flavor in the cake and the apple sauce filling takes it over the top. No other coffee or pastry shop offers this level of goodness. The same can be said for their blueberry…lots of blueberries mixed in the cake with a blueberry sauce in the middle. The cake, itself, has that fresh baked texture whether it’s room temperature or nuked. The only thing keeping these muffins from being perfect is the limited sprinkle of streusel crumb topping. Still, you won’t find anything nearly as good in town. Oh, and their coffee is pretty good, too.

A pleasant cafe brunch spot! Cafe is on the corner with seating inside the store. It seemed very well rounded with food, coffee, & service! The only thing for me was that, our visit was motivated to feel and try kosher/Israeli food. Maybe because I'm not used to it I didn't really enjoy the matzo ball soup, and also felt the concept of the culture wasn't strong enough? This is just my opinion and regardless the other menus and the bagel I got with the matzo ball soup was perfect!

Very popular and casual diner. I came here for the Reuben sandwich and its generous meat portions, but I personally found the flavours quite bland. We also tried the masala chai, which was a very subtle chai drink but we liked it.

kinda felt we weren't hip enough to be in there haha, but really nice place. interesting menu with a lot of dishes we've not seen before in Perth. tasty food, friendly service. we had the key lime pie after which was yummy too!

My favorite café in WA! Today, I had the roasted mushrooms, Rooster roll, Blintzes, and a flat white (not sure, it wasn’t mine). Every dish was absolutely delightful. I was surprised by the huge portions, and the way all the ingredients in each dish harmonized was incredibly impressive. The coffee was smooth with a fine froth (as you can tell from the latte art) and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were friendly, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. I’m definitely coming back💖

Lovely little dessert shop, had the Chocolate Strawberry Waffle ($17). Overall it was delicious; the waffles were crisp on outside but soft on inside. Wished there were more varieties on the menu. Also its on the expensive side for dessert in my opinion. Love the location, in a small arcade in the hip neighbourhood Northbridge.

It’s like walking into a hug! (Coffee 4.5/5) This is a very cute, hidden gem. A family owned cafe surrounded by up-to-date retro spunk. I sat down for a moment, unloaded all my goodies to settle into some work, the owner walked over a placed a delicious friend in front of me and said, “here, try this, it seems you’ll be here a while”. They have a “peg wall” for customers to leave a note and they are surrounded by cute vintage stores that appeal to their clientele! You can literally window-shop while drinking coffee. The waffles here are nice and crispy. They are served with enough ingredients and a small portion of syrup but the waffles taste good. Place is small with some indoor and outdoor seating relaxing enough to sit back and chill.

Have been coming to Superstar Waffles the past 7 to 8 years or as long as I can remember after dinner for dessert in Northbridge. One of the more consistent dessert joints here in Perth... I guess that’s why it seems they have been one of the longest standing dessert cafes in Northbridge!! Kudos for expanding into the next shop over — definitely needed that extra legroom to stretch inside 😂. There are a couple of downsides to this place though. Their menu and flavours have not changed since I first ordered my first superstar waffles. I wish they would explore other unique flavours or just please the greater public with weird and strange trends in the food world. Also, this instance I was with three other guests at around 9:00 PM and the cafe was just slowing down. Ordered a waffle each and waited for a good 25 minutes for them to be served... for waffles? Superstar Waffles is located in the very hip William Street Arcade. Parking is aplenty around Northbridge and close to this cafe, just be weary of absurd Wilson parking charges and fees!!! As mentioned. Consistent food always. Would definitely return if around the area.

Ordered a classic but they forgot the butter and maple syrup. Also double sad because they gave me cold cut up butter, it seems they don't have any whipped butter which is a big oversight for a waffle place. The icecream also melted very very quickly. Waffle cake itself was really really good though. Vanilla milkshake tasted too artificial and sweet 3/5 Galaxy Lemonade was really good though though! ⭐🌌 I think their fancy waffles might be better but as a basic, waffle with whiped butter, whipped cream and maple syrup purist, it was kinda lackluster tbh.

The waffle are Yumm yumm yumm... We came at night time I think they already tired, found a used tissue in on of the drinking cups, so I wonder if the cups are well washed, maybe just improve the hygiene?😅

I tried the blueberry waffles, it was syrupy, , appetizing, crisp and the balance between hot fresh baked waffles and cold vanilla ice cream is well done The hot mocha is one of the best I had in Perth Still the service is slow But sure I will come again to try the rest in the menu

What isn't there to like about the place? It has plenty of character, the room is rustic, it's calm and so relaxing. Staff are friendly and energetic, plus you might even hear them sing in the background. The food is good too, and served pretty quick!

Absolutely fabulous brunch spot! Both the Mac&Cheese Waffles and Baked Nachos were amazing!! Selection of coffees from your standard drinks to the Cremebrulee latte... This will be my number one spot for brunch!

Totally understaffed and bad service. Had to wait an hr for my 1 order. Others who ordered after me get their food first and finished way before i even see my food. When i ordered, the staff emphasized 3times that there are two orders before me, yet ppl who ordered after me got their orders first. When i’ve asked how come they got their food first, she said because they are a table of 6. Im not sure what kind of excuse is that when I ordered way earlier than them. Time and staff management needs improvement.

Absolutely delicious breakfast and drinks, and the desserts were so tempting! As someone else mentioned, the prices are a little high but the food is certainly tasty. The gingerbread latte was so charming!

Nice snack while looking around the market! Since it's quite big, you may get full soon. Strawberry banana with ice cream was a good choice :) I think staffs were a bit less friendly than they could, probably because it was pretty hectic there. Though, I'd like to visit again to try some other flavor later.

Muffle moved to the Yard, where the all food are, right opposite the Goz Bar. It taste great as usual! This is even better!

The O.G egg waffles moved from their original small corner area to the centre food area of the Freo Markets. Same consistent taste all these years and always one of the must have foods when visiting Freo Markets. So good as well you can eat it with one hand and walk around with it 👍🏽

Visited Fremantle markets several times but never had this before. Wanted to have something sweet and tried this Lotus biscoff muffle with a scoop of icecream which is soo delicious. Quality is good, they are preparing it freshly.

Haven’t had muffle in years, but it is just as good as I remember it. The biscoff one was loaded and the perfect sweet treat.

I searched for best breakfast in Perth. This was one of the places listed that I haven't heard of or been. So glad I tried it today and I understand why they made the list. My partner and I both had eggs bennie, one with pulled beef one with smoked salmon. Both were great but what a difference the protein makes. The pulled beef reminded me of a beef rang dang spice mix which was tasty. The roe on the smoked salmon gives you that salty pop of biting into roe. If you like it you love it, if not then it's probably something to ask the cut out of the order. Luckily I love it. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Eyes pleasing. Taste magnificent. The Baked Sticky Dates Pancake is so yummy! It's big enough to share between 2-3 people. There are 4 tables outside the cafe. Suitable to bring your dog child there. There is plenty of car park space.

Nogi Lane is a fantastic spot that absolutely delivers on all fronts. We were genuinely impressed with both the great food and the excellent service. Every dish was spot on, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. If you're looking for a reliably good feed with brilliant service to match, Nogi Lane is definitely worth checking out.

Small suburban cafe. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for 2, notwithstanding that there were a few empty table (that sat 4). Two of the larger tables were empty the whole time we were there. My wife ordered to croissant and sadly it looked like it had been run over by a car. My scrambled egg was good, but arrived at meat 15 minutes after the croissant. Better choices available in the area.

Nogi Lane is a great local cafe. I go there frequently for coffee and it’s reliably good. On weekend the line is quite long. I tried the chilli scram and thought it was slightly lacking flavour. Really good experience otherwise.

Great burger 🍔 , egg was done right and I added extra avo which was fresh. The packing was well thought of - like the ones you see in k-drama, with proper foil and tiny box to hold it without worrying about your dress getting messed with dripping sauce.

These guys are absolutely the best! We love coming here. The food is always delicious, great value for money, and the burgers are amazing. Highly recommend! We’re especially obsessed with their chili sauce.. we usually ask for extra and they’re more than happy to oblige. As big fans of saucy burgers, we really appreciate how generous they are with it.

Wow! Eggspot is a revelation for all egg and burger lovers (especially my young daughter!). She loved the egg and baconso much and she asked for more despite her being full! For us adults, I couldn't have asked for more, the burgers were very tasty, service was amazingly prompt and the atmosphere was very lovely. Will definitely come back for more especially on those special days in one of my pictures. Check it out.

Went to this place for lunch with the family on a weekend. In general food was good. Coffee from this place was also good. I got a medium for 5 dollars. Seemed like a bigger than usual cup. I got Pulled Pork Tacos for 18.50. A lot of meat for the price. Each kid got a Scrambled Egg Sandwich. This was only 9 dollars

We went for breakfast today. The food was amazing. The thick cut bacon melted in my mouth. The poached eggs and hollandaise were some of the best we've had. Coffee was strong and good. Hot chocolate was dark and strong, too. There was a 5-minute wait for a table. The vibe was great, and the food was excellent, but there were decor items like cushions and covers that had seen better days and needed a good wash. Overall, I will definitely be back

Beautifully located just at the beach, little bay has it all. The staff first and foremost are very friendly and professional. The foods taste amazing and freshly made. The design of the restaurant resonates it's inspiration from the location it's situated. We had an amazing time there and highly recommended to everyone else.

I had joined the Saturday sip the food was awesome, good cocktail matches with good value. Stunning sunset view and friendly staffs. It made me awesome Saturday. Spicy mango Magaritas and pork belly bun are my fav. Sticky date pudding is a must have.

Love this place! Been here a few times now for lunch and breakfast. Pepper squid is my favourite and the cocktails are amazing! Pornstar Martini is the best one I think! The staff are super friendly and proffesional, and the vibe is great. There's inside and outside seating and toilets.

We were there for Father's Day and everything was absolutely outstanding, service was very friendly and quick, delicious food beautiful presentation and the coffee and orange juice was nice...and of course the Beautiful view...everything about Little Bay was lovely...first time I've ever seen scrambled egg done like a pretty rose shape very clever chef...we will be back...Thank you to the lovely staff and Chef 🙏😋🌺

A birthday celebration here for lunch today was amazing. Birthday boy had the barramundi and loved it. Crispy skin, moist, and great flavour at a good price. The bar buns hit the spot, and the slow cooked ragu was nice. A sharp bitey cheese on top would have finished it well. The coffee (most important) was a good flavour, a decent coffee, and the hot chocolate was a lovely, strong addition. We loved the exceptional service by Anna, who kindly moved us to the window in the sun at our request with a smile. Thankyou for being a restaurant with heart and amazing food and view to go with it. Would eat here again.

This is my favorite place in Perth for breakfast or brunch or just a coffee! Best view in town - 🌊. Nice vibe. Interesting breakfast dishes. However, if you want a proper table inside, you HAVE to book in advance. Else you can go with outside options or the side cafe bar.

Decent spot for a little brunch fix! ordered the classic eggs and toast, with a side of pickled zucchini. The zucchini was tangy and had a good crunch to it too, definitely an interesting add-on. They offer other interesting menu options too but I do find it abit pricier than average. Service was great and pleasant!

We have been before, and other than the slightly elevated prices (which is expected in Mosman) always enjoyed it. Unfortunately on this day the experience was very underwhelming; it was freezing inside, with the door wide open and no heating on. Needless to say, our breakfast went also cold pretty much as soon as it arrived. And $26 for two pieces of chicken and a pancake is just too much. I hope this was an outlier, as it appears food is usually much more appetising.

I live next door and have given this place plenty of chances, but the service has consistently been slow. Whether I order in person or through the app, it always takes more than 15 minutes to get a simple coffee—this has been the case for over four years. I’ve even tried ordering 20 minutes before leaving home, only to arrive and find my order still waiting to be made. While the food is good, the wait times are among the slowest I’ve experienced in Perth. If you’re looking for quick and reliable service, this might not be the best option.

Went to the Good things on Sunday. It was super busy and took some time before we got a table. One we sat down the awesome server came and took our order. The coffee was absolutely amazing and hit the spot. I got the Chilly Scrambled eggs on a roti (pictured) it was the right amount of spice and the roti base was the game changer. Well worth the drive down to eat there. Be prepared to wait as it can get busy however the wait is definitely worth it. Highly recommended

Very under-staffed. Plates, cups, glasses left on all the tables and we had to clear our own table and wipe it ourselves. No water glasses to be seen and upon asking, were told that they had run out. We were assured they would bring them out. After an hour we still had no glasses. The person making the coffee was polite and tried her best under the circumstances. Wont be going there again.

This restaurant has a romantic ambiance. Best to book as it gets busy during peak hours. The bread and butter was delicious. Beef tatare was alright. Sauce was bit too sour. The lamb mains was so delicious, very tender, melts in your mouth. Complimented with polenta and gravy. 4.5 stars 🌟

Petition is not a bad spot at all, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The real standout for me was their roast potatoes – seriously good! It's a solid choice for a meal or a drink. Petition is a place that's often quite busy during lunch, but the service is generally okay, managing the crowd reasonably well. The food is definitely fresh, which is a big plus, though do be aware that the portions tend to be on the smaller side. It's a decent spot if you don't mind a bustling atmosphere and are after fresh ingredients, just don't expect massive plates.

Love the ambience here, but food and service were disappointing. Ham hock croquettes were really dry and meaty, was expecting a bit more binder or sauce. Lamb was underseasoned and the triple cooked chips were soggy. Service was also a little cold. Not sure if it was a coincidence but they sat all 4 tables of Asians in one side of the restaurant 🫢

We had lunch as a group of ten and chose the set menu. Sadly, most dishes had something not quite right, which was disappointing for a restaurant of this calibre. I will say, our server, Lauren was friendly and helpful. The crackers on the first dish were rock hard and stale, the feta and olives were from a jar that you could get at any supermarket, and the beetroot salad had barely any hummus. The lamb was so tough it was inedible, and the fish dish was bland and forgettable. The bread was the standout, absolutely delicious, and the dessert was exceptional. We also ordered Champagne that hadn’t been rolled, so each glass poured had different levels of sediment. One of our guests works in the wine industry and was genuinely shocked it was served that way. The sommelier’s initial response was poor, though eventually a new bottle was provided. Overall, it felt like the attention to detail and care you expect from a high-end restaurant just wasn’t there.

I went to Petition for breakfast with two friends, hoping for a lovely start to the day. While the food was absolutely amazing — easily a 10/10 — the service was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The staff were abrupt and we didn’t feel welcome at all. When we asked a simple question about the menu, the response we received was dismissive and made us feel as though we were being treated as if we were foolish. It was very uncomfortable, and we found ourselves just wanting to leave as quickly as possible. The team seemed unhappy in their work, which really impacted the atmosphere. If customer service isn’t something they enjoy, perhaps a different role would be better suited. Such a shame, because the food was outstanding — but sadly the service completely let the experience down.

Great Australian cuisine restaurant. The location, foods and atmosphere all were great. We came for breakfast and tried Pk bowel, shakshuka and sourdough with butter and jam, all were super delicious. Thank you Marko and lowe for your kindness and hospitality.

Fabulous place for lunch by the beach (with beach views). We had a table on the front deck and asked for the quietest place. It was easy to chat with my parents and really perfect. The food was excellent. Especially loved the rhubarb baklava cheesecake. Superb!

We had a beautiful evening at Bib and Tucker. The chefs menu was outstanding and could not fault the attentive service. We were able to say when we were ready for the course. The food was delicious and innovative and well presented. Make sure you leave room for the desserts they were exceptional. If you time your dinner you may see the Sun set over the Indian Ocean. This restaurant is well worth a trip from Perth. Book in advance and don’t miss out!

I am a Malaysian. As a foreigner I enjoyed the first taste of kangaroo meat that serving here. The service is fast and they are friendly. We celebrated our friend’s birthday here and enjoying the bombe Alaska cake that make it memorable one !

My first time here, previously no luck as a walk in so I booked this time. Bland decor etc but we had an excellent sea view located on the west side by the beach.Interestingly quite a few empty tables, both inside and out. Great day and weather, except for the wind, higher glass balustrades be good. While service was friendly and professional; we were surprised our food came out before our wine. The Prawns were tasty, and while the Fish Taco's were very well pretended, too much batter and no taste to the fish. I'd pass on another time, generally too noisy and windy to be enjoyable for the price.

Had a great experience at Bib & Tucker in Fremantle. The octopus was tender and beautifully seasoned, and the Spanish mackerel was cooked perfectly with bold flavours. The Bloody Mary was honestly one of the best I’ve had (and I have had a LOT) balanced, spicy, and exactly what I wanted. The ocean view is unbeatable and really adds to the whole vibe. Food came out quickly and consistently, even though the place was busy. A genuinely enjoyable spot for good food, great drinks, and that stunning view of the water.

Slightly disappointed by our recent visit to Bib and Tucker, previously I have adored the food but I felt the menu and quality has dropped and now feels like up-market, over priced pub food. The entree portions were very large and generous and the foccacia was impeccable, however, everything else was a bit average and lacked salt. The fish tacos were mainly beer-batter with very little fish and the octopus was beyond charred and tasted just plain burnt. The mains were quite tasty and well cooked however again lacked salt. The baklava cheesecake was tasty however the bombe Alaska dessert didn’t arrive until 30mins after all the other desserts. The service was good and staff were well-trained. The ambience was somewhat taken away by the screens blocking the balcony so we weren’t even able to see the sunset we had specifically come to Bib and Tucker to see.

We went here to celebrate my sister’s birthday as group of 5. When I booked, there was an option to mention if it’s for a special occasion, so I selected “birthday.” I don’t remember if I added a note about a “happy birthday” message on dessert or anything, but either way, there was no acknowledgement at all on the day, which was a bit disappointing. The place itself is gorgeous — very pretty and stylish. It has that nice balance between upscale and casual. The only thing I didn’t realize when booking is that most of the seating is long shared tables, so you’re basically sitting right next to other people with no real gap. We got lucky that nobody sat beside us, but I can imagine it feeling a bit cramped when it’s full. The drinks menu was lovely — really nice wine selection. We ordered oysters and they were absolutely beautiful. But the mains were honestly quite meh. We went with what the waitress recommended since we weren’t too familiar with the menu, but they just didn’t stand out. Service-wise, it was a bit slow. We waited around 20 minutes to place our first order, even after our friends arrived, and had to keep flagging someone down for drinks or food throughout the night. It didn’t really feel like the smooth, attentive service you’d expect, especially for a place like this. Overall, it’s a stunning venue with a great atmosphere, but the experience just didn’t feel special — especially for a birthday dinner. 💯 tops! ordered a few selection of antipasti; the best way to taste a range of dishes. Calamari and pancetta grilled skewers were just delightful —- full of flavour. What looks like hand cut potato chips (slices) appeared to be popular with me the other diners too. Atmosphere is great because you’re right on the parade overlooking the sea and watching the world go by. Great that there is table service for outside tables as well. Totally recommend it, check it out.

This is one of my most enjoyable lunch for a long time along the beach. The clam linguine is super probably one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Fresh simple ingredients is all it takes for a delicious dish. The fresh pasta in olive oil is cooked to perfection and absolutely al dente. Also ordered the seafood risotto to satisfy my urge for more good food. It also did not fail to disappoint. Both dishes are well put together with vibrant colours and packed with flavours. I do think the pasta is just on a different level. The only complaint would be the small portion but it also gave me the opportunity to try out both delicious dishes.

We popped in while visiting from interstate, not knowing anything about the place, for a quick Monday lunch. Ended up having one of the best vongoles I've ever had and my mate's gigli with sausage was great too. Attentive service, fantastic Negronis and a great selection of wine. Discovered a new one from Sicily and had my first ever cold brew Negroni. A must visit in Perth.

Yesterday (Sunday, 16 November) my fiancé and I went to Il Lido to celebrate our engagement, and unfortunately we left quite disappointed with the service. We originally went there to have the lasagna, which is very popular, but were told it had sold out. That was fine, so we ordered the Lamb Shank instead. This dish is served with a few pieces of bread, and my fiancé asked if he could order an extra portion of bread. He was not asking for free bread; he simply wanted to pay for an additional serving. The waiter told us they had run out. However, more than 30 minutes later, we saw bread being served to the couple sitting next to us. I’m still unsure what happened, but I believe the waiter could have explained it better, for example: “We don’t have extra portions, but we can offer the bread from the entrée menu.” We were supper happy to pay, we were not asking for something for free. At the end of our meal, we asked for the dessert menu, which never arrived. We eventually left and had dessert somewhere else. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially because we used to recommend this restaurant to friends and always enjoyed our meals there. It was even more upsetting given that this was such a special occasion for us.

Padbury's Cafe Restaurant is a really lovely spot that consistently delivers! We always appreciate the good menu range – there's something to suit everyone, and the dishes are always well-executed. We hade the big breakfast and summer hollandaise. Both were pretty average. Their iced coffee and mint milkshake were pretty good though. But won’t be coming back for food here. The service was good but had to wait for our table to be cleaned and the food took a while to be served. It was a Sunday and they were busy. Note that inside dining is a bit loud so we had to request to be seated outside.

Was recommended to come here by a friend, for a solo breakfast, and I can see why! Food and coffee are amazing and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Visited in a quiet period and food and coffee came veg quickly. Genuinly can not recommend more and will be coming back with friends and family. Thank you for a perfect breakfast experience!

One of the best souffle pancakes. I highly recommend to order their Munro Pancakes. Our recent visit was a disappointment. We waited for our food for almost an hour and the food was not even warm. The venue has a vintage atmosphere which I like and feels relaxed vibe.

I ordered the Big Breakfast, but the overall experience was disappointing. The meal took a long time to arrive and was served only lukewarm. The sausage lacked flavor, the mushrooms were unrecognizable, and the eggs—though ordered fried—were smaller than expected and had a slightly rubbery texture.

Toast Cafe in East Perth is generally a pretty good experience, and it's a spot we've visited a fair bit. While the last few times we went the quality of ingredients hadn't been as fresh as usual – we even copped some mouldy gluten-free bread on one occasion, which wasn't ideal – this most recent visit was definitely better. They do a decent coffee, and the service is usually alright. Hopefully, they're back on track with the fresh ingredients, because when they're on, they're on!

Definitely recommend. Open early which is SO handy. Everyone super friendly and helpful. Most importantly the coffee and food was so good. Super recommend the chilli Turkish eggs woeeeee. The other pic is a chef's special french toast, really creative and so delicious. Great tunes on the whole time. Not too busy. Lovely quiet area.

Absolutely great experience here, and wow what a spot! Greeted multiple times in a non pushy way by whom only I can assume is was the owner - living his best life. Service was 5 stars - I forgot to ask for well cooked eggs in my partner's order which was rectified immediately and happily without a hitch. Brisket Benny was absolutely delicious as was the other food; and I will absolutely be back! Only things I could recccomend improving is supplying steak knives with meals to cut bread easier. Keep it up legends!!

Legitimately one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. I ordered the veggie breakfast and the cauliflower was rock hard, the avo had black bits through it. The beans were cheap tinned baked beans, the mushrooms had a disgusting taste like off vinegar. With an extra bit of toast (it only comes with one) and the avo it cost over $40.

Food is super nice with a lot of nice options available for a delicious meal! Most importantly the atmosphere is super nice with the river water nearby and beautiful neighbourhood area! Would recommend:)

Great location in East Perth, food is pretty good. Coffee was commented on being great. Brisket Bagel was tasty but lacked the TLC. Looked good but needed a bit more from the flavour cupboard. Chicken panini was yum, tender chicken with dressing done well A great place to sit outside and chill while enjoying a tasty treat.

I went to IMT with a friend and, from the moment we walked in, I was really happy! The interior was gorgeous and inviting. There was a nasty storm outside while inside was warm and cosy. Surprisingly, on a Thursday night, there weren’t many people in (likely, due to the storm). We ordered the Zucchini & Halloumi Fritters, some Shoestring Fries, and the Woodroasted Half Chicken with Pearl Couscous. The wine arrived within a couple of minutes, and the rosé I ordered for myself was really good. Impressively, the food arrived within about ten minutes and everything looked really good. The fritters were spectacular. I just couldn’t get enough of them. Light and fluffy, and then the walnuts offered a pleasant crunch. The garlic labneh on top was to die for. The chicken was roasted to perfection and the couscous was beautifully seasoned. The green chilli labneh was also nice, but not as good as the garlic one, in my opinion. We were too full to order dessert, but we’d definitely come back to try more. The service was great - everyone we encountered was very lovely.

Extremely busy place, plenty of wait staff and very efficient. Ordered the scrambled eggs on toast (didn’t like the taste of the toast and only ate couple of bits - had an unusual taste), good crispy bacon and hash browns- these are home made with a spicy sauce. Great coffee.

Stopped in at Mary Street Bakery Highgate for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The scrambled eggs with avocado were perfectly cooked—soft, creamy, and full of flavor—exactly the sort of simple but well-executed dish you want first thing in the morning. Paired it with a freshly brewed coffee, which was smooth, aromatic, and clearly made with care. Of course, you can’t visit Mary Street Bakery without trying one of their famous scrolls. Mine was warm, flaky, and absolutely delicious. I also grabbed a couple of their healthy cookies to take away, and they made the perfect guilt-free snack for later. The location is bright and pleasant, with a relaxed, modern vibe. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient, and the service was quick despite the morning rush. Overall, a fantastic breakfast spot with consistently great food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by.

Mary Street Bakery is a bustling spot known for its artisan breads and excellent coffee. On my visit, the aroma of fresh baking filled the air and raised expectations, which were fully met by the flaky pastries and strong coffee I had. The atmosphere is lively and slightly busy, typical of a popular urban bakery, but the staff manage the flow well and keep things feeling friendly and efficient. It’s a fantastic spot for grabbing a high-quality breakfast or lunch on the go.

Nice little spot, very friendly wait persons. Great variety for the breakfast menu.. different from the boring usual things. The waffles with pumpkin was a blast. The salmon croquet with crispy sweet potato went down like a treat. The shakes were also impressive. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The waitress that served us was absolutely lovely. We were having a good time until the pint came out half full. We got the avo on toast which is what it was. I got the pumpkin salad it was hard to choose something on the menu because there wasn't really anything I wanted. The salad was ok but nothing special. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.

Maybe I expected to much of them as I ve been following them on social media for a while but this morning breakfast was not what I was expecting. Service was on point (cute French guy and nice waitresses) but food was disappointing on my end. Got the pancakes that "everyone" seem to be talking about. Well they were too dry (good thing I asked for a side of maple syrup) and they were quite plain. Mascarpone wasn't really nice and I couldn't really taste the berry compote inside. They do look good but that's about it in my opinion. I had a stomach ache all day following that meal. Very very disappointed ...

We've been here twice, years apart, and both times it's been a great experience. This time we had three kids with us and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfy and they were entertained. They have a huge selection of games and colouring books for the kids, which was a huge hit. The food and coffee were also fantastic. Large servings and delicious. The bullet coffee is well worth a try, not many places have it on their menu.

Love the food, love the design of the place (open and welcoming space) and prices are reasonable. Iced chocolate is ok. Staff service is good. A lovely restaurant near the beach.

Got the pancakes and they were quite good but i found them to be a little dry it definitely could have used more of the passionfruit sauce. Staff were lovely, very efficient and they make a wonderful hot chocolate.

We have seen this cafe a couple times and finally went to try - the food here is quite average but we found the drinks quite refreshing. The popcorn chicken was fried well but didn’t really go well with the sourdough. Strange combination that didn’t work for us. Wild mushrooms were pretty average too and not worth the price we had paid for it. Overall - a letdown but would still be a good option to stop by for a grab and go drink.

The Kinky Lizard was our local breakfast spot for a week while attending a conference. It had all the breakfast goodies you hope for, from porridge to Turkish eggs, along with lovely pastries, great coffee, and a wonderful , warm, friendly, quirky vibe.

It has both in & outdoor seatings which is nice. Coffee was good but pastries we got were not. Almond croissant tasted like it is days old and the cinnamon swirl was too. Maybe they should have heated them up a bit? A little disappointed that they did not have the Pistachio latte advertised on the counter

This one is a local for me but I haven’t been in so long! Delicious coffee! And my choice of yummy today was a lemon slice, which was enormous! Welcoming & efficient staff. $12 for a small cappuccino and HUGE lemon slice 🩷

Nice little nook with the hottest cappuccino I have had which was great. Son had avocado on rye which had lots of flavour which he loved. I had bacon eggs benedict,eggs were cooked perfectly. Would have liked a little more char on my bacon which was a little rubbery for my taste but that's just me being fussy. Service was adequate if not overly friendly but to be fair it was quite busy. Prices were reasonable for the good quality.

Lovely staff and honestly so glad I chose to come here for my first breakfast in Australia, I've come from England and had to try their food and wasn't let down. The hulk juice was so tasty also, I may return before I leave!

Home cooked food quality if that's what you look for not bad. Waited 10 minutes at counter to be served and fridge items have no price bring down the experience. Although there's a garden at the back, but were busy and loud so wasn't a relaxing vibe. Front area was bit quieter and peaceful.

Review of Secret Garden Cafe & Patisserie We were on a hunt for good bakeries when we stumbled upon this place. The reviews were good and the pictures looked promising. The place looked exactly like the pictures, in fact better. The modest looking front led to a beautiful, lust and tastefully decorated garden restaurant. The seating area was shaded by the trees making it a perfect place for a date. There weren’t a lot of people, but we assumed that’s because of the odd hour (we were there at 4pm) So for ambience, it was a perfect 5/5 The expectations were high, but the food disappointed. The menu was a bit of a mix with some conventional options of burgers, sandwiches, salads and some specialties. The food in display didn’t really look exciting. We ordered: 1. Chicken focaccia sandwich: The only good thing about this was the focaccia was nicely toasted. Other than that, it lacked flavour, freshness or even the texture. 2/5 2. Traditional Greek Moussaka: The flavours were fine but didn’t taste fresh. 2/5 3. Glass of local red wine (Shiraz): This was the only red and it wasn’t the best. Overall 2/5 The service was also kind of slow. Nothing stood out. 2/5 They can really step up their food game because they have a wonderful place with great potential in their hands.

Stopped in at Secret Garden Café & Patisserie for breakfast and was really impressed. The coffee was spot on, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The garden setting is beautiful — peaceful, full of greenery, and a nice escape from the busy streets. Staff were welcoming and genuine, which made the whole experience even better. Perfect spot for a relaxed weekend brunch or catch-up with friends.

Attended for brunch last Tuesday. We had a reserved table for 4. Service slow and not clear from a customer perspective how their order process worked. My dish was Eggs Benedict wth bacon. It was delivered before others and I had to commence eating alone. The eggs were overcooked, bacon burnt and not pleasant to eat and the toast was of poor quality. The decor is very dated and it certainly requires renovation and updating. The garden area is of poor quality and lacks sufficient plants as well. Not a pleasant experience at all and I do not recommend it and won't be returning. Very disappointing as I had been there a few years ago and enjoyed it. It is no longer a Secret Garden!

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful cafe to enjoy a nice meal. The garden area is delightful, lots of tables available amongst the cool, green garden. Really lovely service by the very busy staff. The burgers are great. The seafood options are amazing. Really good selection of cakes and coffee. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

This place is lovely, it looks small from the outside but there is a large seating area out the back, it feels like you’ve stepped into someone’s garden. The food is tasty and very quick usually, it has become a regular spot to meet a friend for a quick lunch on a Sunday

Canteen Trigg is a great spot for a summer breakfast, especially with the beautiful view from the deck overlooking the beach. Even though the line was long, the service was efficient, and we didn’t have to wait too long. My friends and I had the hotcakes, avo mash, and a peanut butter acai bowl, along with some coffee. The food was satisfying and had everything you’d expect from a good breakfast, though not particularly standout. The vibrant atmosphere, especially on a sunny weekend before Christmas, made it a lovely way to start the day. The view alone makes it worth visiting.

The other reviews were spot on. The salmon poke bowl was absolutely pathetic, but the fish and chips were pretty good. Also tried the calamari with fries which was pretty pathetic in that it was mostly fries and very few calamari rings for close to 20 bucks :( Just stick to the fish and chips and don’t risk it on the rest

Awsome price and food. Would not recommend the acai bowls here. you're better of getting anything else $20 or under. As the center of the bowl was hollow, it didn't have a lot of toppings, nor did I taste chocolate. The menu caters to vegetarians. Canteen is opposite Trigg Beach. great to watch the sunset.

I recently visited The Canteen Trigg for a takeaway coffee and had a fantastic experience. The coffee was excellent, with a rich and smooth flavor that made it a perfect morning pick-me-up. I enjoyed sipping my coffee while overlooking the surfers catching waves, which added to the overall enjoyment. It's a great spot to grab a quality coffee and take in the beautiful beach views. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

Think of this place as more of a kiosk than a cafe. Food quality was very average for the price. $15 for a berry granola and it was tiny and bland The worst part was that they didn't have any reusable crockery or cutlery, not even water bottle or glasses, everything was in a single use cup or box, even the food! Super environmentally unfriendly and there was so much waste on every table. I only recommend coming here for the hot chips and only if you are planning on takeaway.

Best grilled fish and chips I've ever had! The fish tacos were so good too and there are plenty of great options for vegetarians. The place is right next to the beach and has a lovely view. The service is good. Great value for money!

A very good place to start your day! Good and quality food! We order the Open face steak and the smash avocado! Delicious!!! The staffs are friendly and approachable! A cafe in a nice neighbour with a view! Definitely worth coming back again! We came on Friday, quite busy Therefore expected to have a queue during weekend! But worth the queue!

We had a great breakfast here - 2 adults and 1 toddler. All their dishes have an Asian twist to them which we really loved. Coffee was really good as well. Our only feedback was that the oyster omelette could have been seasoned a bit better. They can get pretty crowded so it’s best to make a booking or come early. We will definitely be back!

It’s simple yet cosy set up. Really appreciate the counter seats we have facing the kitchen which gave us a lovely view of the hard work put into the tasty breakfast dishes put together by the crew. The sourdough toasts with scrambled eggs with adding of mushrooms, spinach and bacons were spot on before we head out for the day’s tour.

Popular spot for coffee, breakfast and brunch. Open 7 days a week for breakfast from 7am and dinner Tuesday - Friday for dinner. For breakfast we enjoyed sourdough toast, shark bay chilli scrambled eggs and coffee - yum. For dinner we enjoyed scallops, Lamb Rack And Steak. Definitely worth checking out regardless of whether you are staying at Riverview on Mount 42.

This is a nice place to chill. I had my breakfast here. The food tastes great and the cappuccino is fantastic. Trust me... the chilli crab scramble egg is superb! The ambience is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Upon arriving the waitress found us a table quickly, despite having no booking and majority of the tables were already reserved. The atmosphere was energetic, yet comfortable.. lots of people out for breakfast and chatting happily with friends. The menu looked great, lots of interesting sounding dishes. We opted for the Chilli Crab Scrambled Eggs and the Open Faced Steak Sandwich. The eggs were cooked perfectly, a nice soft scramble with a lovely flavour or crab throughout. There was a hint of chilli and slight crunch from the crispy onions. It was a very rich and buttery dish that could have really done with a burst of freshness from a simple garnish. It also lacked colour, being a plate of beige some chilli oil and spring onions could have really added some contrast. The steak sandwich was a massive let down, the steak was dry, overcooked and unseasoned. Medium-rare would have been the preferred cook but it was clearly well done with no hint of pink in sight. The Brie was completely lost amongst the meal, it didn’t really add anything.. but the red chimichurri was beautifully tangy and saved the dish. The coffees were great, really well made and clearly from nice beans. We had a couple of cold-pressed juices that were also really good. All in all it was okay, some nice things but spoiled by the steak. Service was good and I’d definitely come back again to try some other things.

Really nice brekky bar, we had the chilli crab scrambled eggs (fairly hot) and the turkish eggs. Would defs recommend booking if you’re more than 2 people.

All of the food taste amazing! We ordered steak frites, eggs benny chan, and chili scramble as well as the matcha blueberry. The matcha is not that strong, very recommended for beginner matcha drinker. We also tried dubai toast, biscoff matcha, and Sticky dates hot cakes. Shout out to Claudia for taking care of us!😊

Loved our time dining here, especially because of our server George! He’s amazing and goes above and beyond making sure that everything was okay and timely. Korean fried chicken burger was 👌🏻👌🏻. Roasting Warehouse burger could do with a slice of cheese, a lil more sauce and more pickles (which was delicious!). 🤭 Chips were perfection too. Coffee was well rounded, and balanced well with the sweet pistachio.

After seeing this place all over my social media’s, we finally visited. It was packed! Parking was a bit difficult to find, due to it being so busy we parked on a nearby street and walked down. We didn’t have to wait very long for a table as people were coming and going. The staff were really lovely! Super polite and friendly vibes the entire time. The food was average in my opinion but the choices we made were pretty basic (French toast & The Roast Warehouse Burger). The French toast is $28, and you only get 1 x slice. I feel that, if it’s going to be this pricey-you should at least get 2 x slices. It looked very pretty though. The burger was good, a simple beef burger and the chips were amazing with the aioli sauce. We also ordered the Freddo Cappuccino with caramel and vanilla syrup which was delicious! The seating area outside was really spacious which I really liked, it was easy to move around the place. When we went inside to pay, it seemed a little cramped but I cannot comment fully on this as we were in and out. I think this is a good spot for catch ups and meeting's, all sorts! While many visitors to Fremantle are recommended to explore the famous “Cappuccino Strip,” I wandered a bit further and came across Roasting Warehouse South Fremantle — and I’m glad I did. Unlike the small cafés in the town center that mainly serve light meals and coffee to enjoy on the spot, this place is a spacious roastery café with a lively atmosphere and a great selection of merchandise. The terrace seating area is very popular, especially on sunny days. When I was trying to choose coffee beans, a very kind staff member said, “If you need any help, please feel free to ask me,” and offered excellent advice. I mentioned that I prefer light roast beans with more acidity rather than dark roast, and I found exactly what I wanted to take home. Their cappuccino — one of their signature drinks — was also excellent. Just be careful with the chocolate powder on top; it tends to stick around your mouth if you’re not paying attention. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, both for coffee and hospitality.

Definitely wouldn't go here without a table booking. Even with a booking, the service wasn't great. I get that they're busy (super super busy) but even after asking for our 4th chair for our 4 people booking it took them ages to bring the chair. You get the table for 2 hours, however don't expect to get your food before the hour and a half mark. Two of our meals were cold, however the Eggs Benny Chan and Dubai Toast were very yummy. After finishing our food we still had to wait about 30/40 mins for our drinks we had ordered before the food. It seems they prioritise the walk in drink orders before dine in - which I can understand, however it was a ridiculously long wait. And we didn't even like the drinks after all that. Was not tasty at all. Probably won't be back for a while. I fear this place got hit with a wave of popularity and they don't have the staff and equipment to back it up.

Really nice big cafe in Freo with very interesting menu! For drinks we ordered the Freddo cappuccino, iced mango matcha latte and the iced strawberry matcha latte. The Freddo cappuccino was pretty good! 4/5 star, it’s really good if you like a strong coffee because it’s a shaken espresso on top of a brew with some cold foam. Additional sweeting is definitely needed if you don’t like a strong coffee but it taste good with either the syrup or honey. Down side is that it isn’t actually a lot of coffee and if you leave the foam bit unshaken for a while it because 65-75% full so it’s quite aerated. Overall it’s pretty good though. Wasn't the best matcha, didn't work well with the strawberry combo. It was better with the mango but not the best. It came in really cool bottles which made it interesting! Food was amazing! We got the Turkish eggs, egg Benedict and the Korean chicken waffle. Turkish eggs were a favourite, was super tasty! The Egg Benedict was a very unusual way of serving it but was super delicious! The Korean chicken was super tasty but it is quite sweet. It gets super busy here and you might be in line for a while but staff are quite accommodating and friendly! Really nice cafe, with plenty of seating outside and some inside. Pricing is about what you'd expect for a cafe in Freo on the slightly pricier side. Parking might be difficult since it's Freo but you can park near the beach or find some along the road.

Went yesterday to the Roasting Warehouse for the first time and had an excellent experience from being seated until the time we left. Great food and excellent service and special thanks to Lily for her recommendation and serving us in excellent way. Over all 5 /5 and highly recommend

They serve up a consistently good breakfast, and their food and coffee are excellent. It's clearly popular with the locals, so be prepared for it to get busy, especially during peak times. The vibrant atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a highly recommended place for a great start to your day.

Menu looks amazing and the variety is great. We had the fried chicken croissant, which was very good. The most disappointing part was the poached egg — it was fully boiled. Not sure how this happened, but it’s the first time I’ve ever received a completely boiled egg instead of a poached one. My girlfriend had the shakshuka, which was good, especially the bread, but a little too sweet. Then we tried the French toast — an absolute must-try! It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. The toasted coconut pairs beautifully with the sauce, and the bread was just on point. Overall, it’s a well-balanced and well-crafted dish. The ambience is great, and the coffee and juices are also good. Overall, this place is worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be back to try other dishes. Table for Two Sith & Marta

Food was amazing. Had the French Toast and Korean chicken for breakfast. Yes other places may have similar items on the menu, but these guys do it with additional nuance and they do it WELL. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating, both are great. Staff and service were great and handled a long queue for ordering well.

Came for Saturday brunch at 8.30 and was able to get a table straight away. I had the open breaky burger and it was really nice. Good size - lots of filling. Needed a bit of salt but all in all was delicious. Will definitely be returning to try the French toast.

Friendly staff made it welcoming, good coffee and a great variety of food options to choose from. I ordered the Mushroom on Toast and loved how generous they are in terms of portion size. Will definitely be back for more!

I don’t have a pic of the shakshuka I had because it was too delicious!! And the GF bread was so good, I would come back any day! Would honestly love to know where they get their GF bread from! My boyfriend had the smashed avocado he said it was the best one he’s had. Staff were lovely (dog friendly too💕) and ambience was cozy too.

From my experience, brunch cafes can be a huge hit or miss. Many places serve average food at prices that don’t match the quality. But Hylin surprised me with their smashed avocado. I requested the vegan version, and the portion was great—generous amounts of spinach, avocado, and mushrooms served with a thick slice of bread. Nicely seasoned as well. It definitely made me want to come back! The atmosphere and interior design are also nice and chill.

Took a while to be seated for our reservation. I think staff struggle to identify those who are trying to order and people waiting to be seated. Should consider QR code ordering to limit the amount of people queuing. I had the corn and kale hot cakes which were nice. However they were a little gritty. An addition of something acidic would have helped with the strong flavours on the plate. Cafe is extremely loud and the acoustics not ideal. Coffee was really nice. Juice was underwhelming.

Delicious!! Great vegetarian meals served here, the cauliflower & cumin fritters - YUM!! My friend opted for the poke bowl with salmon and loved it - fresh ingredients, wholesome and very well presented - will return to try their pan cakes - mouth watering!! Staff are friendly and always willing to help - this place was pumping over the weekend so DO BOOK in advance. Lovely table seating options outside which offers an enjoyable brekky experience.

Was invited to breakfast here. Great atmosphere and away from the busy streets in the city yet near to city itself. Easy and plenty of parking at 7:30am. Served great scrambled eggs and toast. Love the latte with intense coffee flavor. Make sure to have booking.

Still one of my favourite cafes in Perth the pancakes was super fluffy and the salted caramel sauce that comes with them is seriously drinkable. We also tried the pork Panini which was good but because they put it in the sandwich press all the fillings went to one side so there was just this strip of bread and then the feelings were kind of bursting out so maybe that’s a point to Sort. We went for brunch nearly two weeks ago and are already thinking of going back again because we really enjoyed everything! The pancakes were so beautifully presented and fluffy, the butter chicken burger was absolutely delicious, and the pavlova was so refreshing. The coffee was spot on, the servings were generous, and the menu was reasonably priced too. Our daughter loved every bit of it, she even enjoyed the chicken burger! 🥰 Parking can be a little tricky as it’s street parking and they seem really busy, but it’s absolutely worth going. Plus, it’s only a 5-minute drive to the South Perth foreshore (View Point 2) for a stunning city view along the river, and there’s a beautiful playground with sand that kids will surely love! Perfect place for brunch and then a relaxing family walk along South Perth afterwards!

one of the best cafés we've visited, with delicious food thoughtfully made !! idyllic and quiet setting with good indoor and outdoor seats. shakshuka with chorizo was so well done and comforting. kale and corn pancake was absolutely amazing, seasoned and flavoured masterfully. we even ordered a Panna Cotta after the two meals because they were so good, and it was (chef's kiss) perfect with the granola and fruit. many thumbs up !! 😄👍👍

Enjoyed breakfast at Boucla today! Interesting menu choices all with distinct offerings which vary from the norm.We had Turkish Egg and Shakshuka - both lovely flavours served with warm bread.The only let down was the very weak lattes. Def recommend eating here!

Such yummy food. I spent my birthday here on the public holiday and wasn’t disappointed. We had a little outside table in the sun. It was hard to choose what to eat as all the items on the menu looked amazing. I had the zucchini fritters with the potatoes. Food portions were generous and we were all full as a goog when we left. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

I had the $11 vegetable tart (zucchini, mushroom, capsicum, cream egg mix) Light and fluffy mix, the veg were nice but not very well distributed across the layers. $6 savoury muffin (corn relish, feta, sundried tomato, spinach) not super "scone" like, more a muffin (YAY) slightly salty, Beautiful colours to it, warmed, Shakshuka was super bright and frangrant. Cute spot, lots of seating options, nice staff, lots of issues with delivering to right tables tho....

I tried the Birria Brisket Benedict and it was absolutely delicious! It was my first time trying this dish and I was blown away by the flavor and texture. The meat is just outstanding — truly a showstopper! Highly recommended!

I go here a lot and that says something. Breakfast is very good, and their Turkish Eggs are outstanding. My partner typically gets the avocado breakfast, and sometimes we mix in their eggs bennie. No matter what you get, I think you will like it

This was my second time here and Shasuka is the best I have in Perth. Only few places serve good Shasuka and this place is one of it also the other food we got was soo good. Coffee was nice but my Matcha was okay ish but no complain❤️ Excellent service by the girls🫶🏾

Yummy Italian pizza, my favourite was the fennel sausage and pecorino pizza (salsiccia). Lovely decor too, plus the decaf affogato was a delicious dessert cleanser after the mains.

We celebrated our anniversary at Canteen Pizza in Applecross, and it was genuinely one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at home. The team was so warm and welcoming—it honestly felt like we were being looked after by family. That kind of service is rare and made the night feel even more special. We kicked off with drinks—my partner had a beer, and I went with Ivan’s Pick, their weekly wine recommendation. I was lucky enough to chat with Ivan himself, the wine specialist, who helped guide me in choosing the perfect wine. It was such a thoughtful touch and really elevated the whole experience. The 50% off wine on Wednesdays was just the cherry on top! For food, we started with a dozen oysters (incredible), then had the beef tartare and pizza bread—such a good combo, I could’ve eaten it all night. We finished with the Wagyu beef pizza, which was next-level. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. And the vibe? Perfect. The DJ was spinning records all night that absolutely slapped—we loved the music and it just added to the whole atmosphere. We were so relaxed, so happy, and just completely in our element. Thank you to the amazing team at Canteen Pizza for making our anniversary one to remember. We can’t wait to come back!

Popped for a quick lunch after reading rave reviews and it sure didn’t disappoint! Pizza base was superb (The Canteen) and the topping and sauce was unique and delicious! We ordered the Porchetta to share and it was interesting- not like the traditional rolled way but deconstructed with pork slices. The accompanying sauce was great and we loved the Brussels sprouts. Decor was really classy too!

I love the food and the design of this place. I live close by and love to come quite often. But what’s going on with the people who work there? No smile, the energy is so bad. The lady with the short blond hair was so so rude, she was throwing plates and stuff on the tables while rolling her eyes when we’re asking for an advice. What’s up, guys? The place is so stylish, awesome food, wonderful area of the city. But yeah - not good attitude, and it ruines the vibes. You need to fix it. Don’t take it as a bad comment but as a call to action to really improve this. I brought a group of friends so they enjoy it (they never been) and they left really talking about how rude and unfriendly the people who work there are. Sorry :( I am quite disappointed.

We loved our dinner at Canteen Pizza! The food and dining atmosphere was great, but our waitress Carlee, was the reason our night was so memorable. She was so attentive, kind and funny who shared some great recommendations with incredible table service. We will be back and hopefully we are lucky enough to get Carlee again.

Great pizzas. Disappointing was the serve of the tiramisu it was a teeny tiny piece pretty steep of $15. Maybe since I got take away it was smaller as it didn’t need to be presented nicely on a plate?

Had breakfast here today. First time here but I found it a bit hard to find. The Main Street signs had different business names so confused me a bit. We both had scrambled eggs on toast which was fine. The venue looks fresh and modern. We sat inside as it was cool outside.

$28 for a smash avo with less than a quarter of avocado for two pieces of dry toast, handful of rocket, 3 pieces of feta is an absolute joke. Splash of a weird vinegarette with no dukkah as mentioned on the menu. Waited for nearly an hour and the small slither of avocado i did receive was rotten so I had half a quarter of avocado for the entire dish. You would expect half or nearly a whole avocado for that price. Upon sitting down, we were given dirty water glasses as well. The young man who served us was lovely, but the front girl seating us along with alot of the other staff seemed like they just simple didn't care and didn't want to be there. The owner who we presumed was the one who took our payment did not seem to care about our complaint and offered to comp 1 coffee off a meal close to $70 isn't really acceptable. Such a shame as I live local in walking distance but will not be returning.

It was a wintry day today with blistering winds but it didn’t dampen our experience! The atomosphere inside the cafe was cosy and the food sublime! The service was super friendly and very attentive too. My friend and I made it just in time for the end of the breakfast shift (with delight) and so we ordered bacon and eggs and poached eggs with avocado. I couldn’t go past the “Mark Cacaoan “ - the most amazing smoothie I’ve ever tried!! It was a meal in itself - banana, cacao, oats, honey and peanut butter. I was in chocolate heaven!!! There’s something about this little cafe which makes me feel like I’m on holiday somewhere far away. Overlooking the ocean, this place has a chillaxed vibe with patrons all seemingly relaxed and chilled. I can’t wait to come back!!! Thanks heaps to all the staff who made our visit such a treat!

Arrived and waited to be seated however nobody approached us. So we found our own table and I decided to go to the counter to order. Ordered 2 coffees and a toasted muffin. Coffees came out (great coffee) but no muffin. Went to counter to ask about muffin. Muffin finally arrived after we finished coffees. Pretty disappointing as the place wasn't busy. Staff were lovely but the boss clearly didn't want to be there. Seems like a petty post but how hard is it to toast and deliver a muffin so you can have it WITH your coffee, not 10 minutes later. Please take this feedback on board. Cheers.

A superb location across the road from the beach on West Coast Highway, North Perth. Parking is available down a driveway on the right hand side of the building. Nice casual decor, it's air conditioned and fully licensed as well. We went for breakfast and food was very nice with good quality produce that was well prepared. Coffee was to a high standard also. Staff were efficient and food did not take long to come out considering we were a group of 12. A place I'd be happy to return to.

Came to see if it's worthwhile coming back for lunch or dinner, The menu is slightly different from their website, so they had a couple of extra vegetarian dishes. But not enough for us to order, and we won't be returning unless they have a few more options. The only vegan dish is a garden salad, so if you're vegan you're out of luck. There were a few dirty tables with staff not doing much, so that could be addressed. Service was ok, atmosphere is ok. It's got a lot of potential, and I hope they do well.

I went there really looking forward to my first vegan breakfast in Perth. Pancakes were like bread not soft at all and the last one wasn’t even cook enough. The coffe that I ordered barely warmed. In the view the plate looks amazing but taste was not good. I would recommend skipping this dish based on my experience. I also took with me a croissant and i wouldn’t recommend it neither.

Excellent vegan and a gluten-free Haven! Perfect for a Sunday brunch. Staff are super welcoming and explain the dishes. We ordered a gluten-free pumpkin bread Avo smash with dukkah spices and pureé. Yummy to another level. I was famished even after I finished the dish. Then we ordered a breakfast burrito. It had beautiful flavours with wrap locally sourced and fresh. The cheese was vegan. Highly recommended to visit this place for vegans. Can't get better than this.

I recently had brunch here with my partner and we absolutely loved it. The food was excellent. The vegan Mac & Cheese was delicious and the chillies added a lovely bite to it. My partner had the strawberry shortcake waffles and she raved about them non stop! While we couldn't get the drink we wanted because it was sold out, the personnel were very quick to suggest a very nice alternative, so no issues for us there. The ambience was also very nice with the outside seating being under a few trees and tucked away in a side street. We will be returning again soon for a double helping of the Mac & Cheese.😊 Thank you for a lovely brunch.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed by this cafe. I always want to rate the vegan places highly but this just wasn’t it. The menu sounded really good with lots of options, however, lots of the stuff we tried to order wasn’t available to order… The actually cafe is nice and quaint in the laneway but the food was a bit underwhelming. I had the waffles and it tasted more like a pancake and was a bit flavourless/stodgy. The presentation was great though. The coffee had a unique? taste, not sure if it was for me though. The salad was good though and had great tofu in it.

I used to love this place, but my most recent visit was disappointing. I ordered a croissant along with matcha, the match was just lukewarm and the croissant, despite its appetizing appearance, just felt like bread. There was no texture inside, and it just felt wrong. Even though i still think this place has some nice and unique brunches, i dont think i will recommend it as highly as before

Finally tried this cafe and loved the food! Had the truffle mac & cheese and the strawberry shortcake pancakes, both were so delicious, full of flavour. Loved their outdoor seating too, perfect vibes for a perfect sunny weather. Overall,will definitely go back to try their other dishes! Thanks for the amazing brunch!

Vegan restaurant, they do very pretty flowery - instagram-able type plates! I am not vegan, and still found the food delicious. They have a small menu and counter style service with only outdoor seating. Guard your food well as there are very brave pigeons that will help themselves to your lunch!

Had a good meal, menu had a good choice of options and was very fast to come out. Every one said how their meals tasted great. Nice hidden local secret. Staff were extremely efficient, friendly. Excellent access for mobility impaired and seating flexibility allows moment.

A hidden gem. We arrived at a busy time on Sunday. But we didn't have to wait long to get a table. You can book which would be a wise thing to do on weekends as it looked very popular. Great Menu available for all types of dietary options. Once we ordered the food came out so quickly we were very surprised. Oh and the gluten free bread was so soft and delicious. Very Happy to recommend them.

The food was great and the drinks were decent. We also loved the café’s design—modern and pretty. However, the space is quite small, making it feel a bit cramped between tables. Unfortunately, the tables were sticky and hadn’t been cleaned (properly), which took away from the overall experience. Also, keep in mind that the toilets are shared public ones, located about a 2–3 minutes walk away.

What a wonderful cafe! This was our first visit and the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful! A bit of wait to get seats on the weekend but food came out so quickly! The staff with a ponny tail with black hair( sorry didn't ask your name) looked after us so well. It looked busy but she changed the water bottle to new one before finishing the one we had. We definitely will be back to try other meals 😋 Visited 13/09/2025 just after 10am.

Food was delicious. The Dubai French toast was amazing. The coffee was a bit of a let down, seemed to be burnt and not very creamy. Decor was nice but was a little loud. Was really easy to find parking which was great for a larger group.

A hidden gem, Clean and cozy, the pancakes are delicious🥞Highly recommend it! and there are plenty of outdoor seats too, nice.

I’m regular shopper at Belmont forum. Have seen this cafe on side of roundabout wanted to go and try their food. Went there on rainy day cafe was full but the customer service, food and price was unbeatable compared to other cafe nearby. Will definitely visit next time.

Lovely cafe just outside of Belmont forum. We tried the Momo fried pork dumplings with mild spicy sauce. Comes in a serve of 10 pieces for $16. Was pretty tasty! The mild spicy sauce might have a bit more of a kick but very flavourful. Dumplings are nice and crunchy. Ordered the hot chocolate which was really nice and chocolatey. Would definitely recommend it. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are a little on the high side for food, but it's around cafe prices. Drink prices are standard cafe prices. Plenty of parking as it is in the same vicinity as Belmont forum.

I loved the Potato Gnocchi, very tasty and full of flavour and texture. The coffee was good too. However, the food came out a bit longer than we expected. Might be a busy today for the cafe. ☺️

I really loved their house burger! It’s so fresh and tastes amazing! I’m always lazy to leave ratings and reviews but this time I couldn’t resist!! Their tropical juice is also very refreshing and my nephew had a kids burger, he’s a picky eater but he loved his burger

So delicious and warm inside the store on a cold day. I had the hot chocolate and eggs Benedict with bacon and the presentation and taste was amazing. Customer service was top tier too. Next time I am looking forward to trying the momo and chowmein.

One of my favourite cafe in Perth. Owner and staffs is very friendly here and i loved the breakfast menu here and the seperate nepalese menu too 😜, give it a try you will love it!

Went there for brunch. Had the chicken with waffles and a cup of hot chocolate. I enjoyed my meal. The chicken was moist and the waffles were well prepared. My hot chocolate was abit on the warm side but nothing disappointing.

Booked for brunch. Would have ordered online from the table, but another patron warned us the prices were higher that way! Ordering instead at the till was quick anyway. Friend had Turkish eggs, and I had hash brown stack pictured. Hash brown stack was an interesting choice and tasty enough that I'd order it again. We both had coffees, although my small flat white was a little cool and weak, which was disappointing. Too full to try the cakes, but the souffra looked awesome. I will be back just to try that.

Came here for a quick brunch before the zoo. Beautiful space with a relaxed vibes, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, the service was quick and the food was delicious! Such a cosy little cafe nestled in the heart of Bassendean - highly recommend!

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour, After picking up a client from the airport we came here for some brekky. I had the smashed Avo with some salmon added and the watermelon combo pressed juice. What a great way to start the day.

Have eaten breakfast here before and it was great. Came for lunch today and was extremely disappointed. Southern Fried Chicken burger was a crumbed chicken schnitzel - definitely Not southern fried chicken. The fish tacos were also straight from a box - two square fish pieces that didn’t even fit in the taco, with iceberg lettuce and some weird tomato salsa which was tasteless. So disappointed. Juice was $10 for something that obviously came out of a bottle - not freshly made and mainly ice. The waitress was very helpful and apologetic stating there were new owners. We won’t be back based on the food today.

A little pricy but the food is great! Little kids area/room is perfect for entertaining toddlers so you can enjoy your coffee while it’s still hot. Hot fresh food and good flavour combinations. Pastry display cabinet has pretty good variety too!

Great experience and time had, all the items in the window called out to me, it's hard making a choice. I've tried many almond croissants but this Oreo almond croissant was delicious and packed with filling. 10/10 recommend and the blueberry almond loaf was so good too. Thank you!

Caught up with an old friend here a couple of days ago and wow, what a great experience! The vegan feast is absolutely delicious and nutritious, with kale, beans, pickled cabbage, falafel and more, all very nicely flavoured and presented. But the surprise standout were the juices. After starting with a freshly squeezed orange juice for lunch, and enjoying hanging out at the pleasant al fresco tables for a couple of hours, my friend had the pineapple crush and I had the green juice. They are all fresh and amazing flavour combinations - I really think the green juice is the best juice I've had, anywhere, ever! Can't wait to come back.

Source Foods is a fantastic spot that really nails it on so many levels. While the service is decent, it's the incredibly fresh ingredients and a truly fun menu that shine here. They dish up top-notch food that always feels wholesome and delicious. The coffee is strong and exactly what you need to kickstart your day, and the lovely atmosphere is just delightful. With so many plants creating a lush, green space, it's easy to feel a lovely reconnection to nature. This natural element brings a great vibe and connection to their whole dining experience. Definitely a brilliant place to visit!

The menu has changed a little so the dishes are a little different; like now the Vegan feast comes with sourdough, And fritters currently are in a mango era! Many dishes have Vegan and GF options! This would be the ideal spot to sit for a coffee, do some study or work and have a cosy bite! I do wish the fritters had a bit more flavour/seasoning to them but I think a mango salsa would probably have a bit more vibrancy to its flavour!

I’m not sure when they updated their fritters recipe, but I came here a few months ago and had the halloumi fritters with a delightful yogurt sauce, they were incredible! Fresh, balanced, light, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them since. I thought i’d get some to take away today, but they have clearly changed their recipe and they are not good at all. Very awful dry, tasteless fritters, allegedly with halloumi yet i couldn’t taste or see any. I would call this meal a ball of batter with some corn, not fritters. The poached egg was way too overcooked as well, the yolk was solid. Such a shame, i really used to like this place but the quality of the food and service have dropped significantly.

If you based your visits on external signage you wouldn't call here. That's far from the truth. Great atmosphere, friendly smiling staff, quick service at a busy time, fabulous coffee and food. Well priced and well done Source Foods.

Had a lovely breakfast and coffee this morning, the girls behind the counter were lovely and welcoming. The attention to detail and love they put into the food and dining experience makes the cafe a great place to be. Food was delicious, strawberry iced matcha is the best matcha I’ve tried in Perth. Will definitely be back to try out all the other yummy options on the menu!

What an absolutely delightful treasure! The coffee is rich, delicious and made exactly the way you like it by lovely people who remember your order. Honestly the best coffee I’ve had ever! Fast service, good coffee, and food. Menu items are pricey for the amount of food you get, take away food is a much better deal. Plenty of seating indoors and outside. Cafe location gives a nice relaxed feeling.

The photos may not look appealing (!) but the food was excellent, with the pumpkin quiche being an especial standout. Would definitely return!

Had read reviews about this place, so stopped in for quick coffee and cake. Coffee was delicious and "Top deck" brownie was amazing - chocolate brownie/raspberry/blonde brownie - and it's gluten free. Will have to come back another time to try their breakfast menu.

What a gem of a coffee shop. The friendly service of the staff was absolutely outstanding. The variety of breakfast menu options were such a refreshing alternative to the standard fare offered by other cafes. The slow cooked brisket with a poached egg was mouth watering. Stopped in for breakie with the crew after a girls night at the Crown . Indoor & outdoor seating available. Nice, bright space . Service staff are quite not very chatty, food did take a while to come out tho they didn’t seem busy. Breakfast menu is small and when asked if creamy sauce could be left out of a dish , we’re told no as that tied the dish together. Mango smoothie were delicious.

Food was extraordinary good and the service was excellent. Best Belgian mocha I’ve had.

The cafe we wanted to go to was full so we popped our head in next door and what a welcome surprise. The food was delightful and the menu different so you had room to be adventurous. Salmon Poke bowl was devoured by my wife and I stuck to bacon and eggs Perfectly poached, rich golden free range , delicious bacon and the sourdough was buttered ! 10/10 - go there, I’m so glad we did

Stopped in for brunch at Sixteen Ounces and had a great experience. The coffee was strong and smooth, and the chilli scrambled eggs hit the spot. The space is modern and light-filled, with a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in. Staff were friendly without being overbearing. Solid spot for a weekend catch-up.

A great spot for a Sunday brunch! The food was delicious and well-prepared. However, I found the drink portions a little underwhelming considering the price. It would be even better if the beverage quantities matched the value. Still, a lovely experience overall!

Came here for lunch today and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Beef Brisket Benny which arrived promptly and was delicious! The soft beef brisket on top of crusty bread topped with a perfectly poached egg and yummy chipotle sauce. The service was excellent too. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal! ❤️

Super little place that I hadn't been to before. A lovely inner city streetscape leeds to this busy, modern but friendly spot. The Eggs Benny with slow cooked brisket was a revelation! Gorgeous smokey flavours mixed with a divine hollandaise sauce was a wonderful new treat for me and the potatoe rosti rounded it out perfectly. Coffees were on point taste wise and they were not the temperature of the sun! Have a wander before you choose somewhere to sit as there is a lot of nooks and crannies including a lovely grassed walled garden out the back. Can't wait to return.

Such a good find!! The matcha was accompanied with a sweet vanilla ice cream — refreshing on a very hot day. It was a bit bitter for me personally, but I had absolutely no problems with getting it sweetened, as Jordan was such a lovely waiter!! I really enjoyed his vibe and friendliness! He also kindly got me a sauce bowl of tomato sauce (of which is free — a big plus). I got the kiddies meal of chicken burger and fries, which was surprisingly filling and good! The fries were salted and crispy. Also a must-give 5 stars to the atmosphere because the background song choices was absolutely perfect.

This is an amazing spot! I’m glad they take bookings from seeing how busy they were and for good reason. The service was great, had a good atmosphere and tasty food - I got the brisket benny which was exceptional and yes, some of the menu items are pricey, but this one was worth it. The matcha was of high quality too. Will definitely be back 😊

This one is an oldie but a goodie. A great spot for breakkie, brunch or just coffee. We love the space, there's a basket ball hoop at the back for big and lil kids to play with. The food and coffee are always on point. Today, we stopped for ice matcha and their mandarin cake. Both were delicious.

Mushroom Medley was delicious. Loved the garlic butter mushrooms, served on sourdough bread. We didn't quite like the Fried Potato Rosti as the rostis were bland. If there wasn't any balsamic glaze, it would have been even more disappointing. Our absolute favourite was the Brekky Panna Cotta. The jiggly panna cotta paired very well with granola, fruits and berry puree. The mix of flavours and texture was simply delightful.

Came across this place after walking to the nearby Shelley Beach park. Great location, friendly and inviting staff with a decent breakfast menu. Eggs Benny on sourdough with salmon was done to perfection accompanied by a quality latte. Outdoor seating works well when the sun's out. Highly recommend paying a visit of you're free and in the area.

one of the best brunch spots i've tried so far !!! came here for the first time after much anticipation, and it certainly lived up to standards ! food was delicious and service was fast, drinks were also super well made and i'm glad they serve their matcha unsweetened ! flavours were really well balanced, even the matcha crunch pancakes were not too sweet :] definitely would recommend coming here, can't wait for my next visit !!

May 2025 Came here for breakfast, the cafe (indoor) was packed at 9am. Service was prompt and friendly. Server checked whether we needed an extra plate for sharing. Food was prepared to perfection in presentation and taste. Preferred the Crispy Chicken Stack to the Fried Potato Rosti w Smashed Avo, but both were nice.

Average coffee. Food lacking taste although portions are large. Home made roesti need improvement as commercial one is much better. Salmon omelet is over cooked where the salmon is not any more enjoyable. The chili scram is just a boring scrambled eggs with chili powder. Service was amazing and very quick

Cute spot with good food options and a decent matcha. I ordered the mushroom medley — very tasty, though a bit too saucy for my liking, which made the bread soggy. An extra slice of bread would’ve balanced it out nicely. I also tried the earl grey matcha, which I enjoyed, but it wasn’t very sweet and felt a bit small for the price. Overall, still a good experience and I’d come back to try other menu items.
