Yonder is always such a vibe!!! This time we went for dinner and ordered the brisket with fries and the Japanese fried chicken. Very well served and beautifully presented. Big brisket fan here and it was melt-in-your-fork tender!!! Loved the barbecue sauce and the spices on the pickled red onion. I tried two drinks suggested by the staff: the Woohoo and the Miss (something I can’t remember). I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite! Chic restaurant that serves unique brunch options, with their pancakes garnering quite a bit of attention and caught our attention when looking for a brunch spot! 🪑 there’s quite a bit of outdoor seating when we arrived, and they are warmed with 2 heaters in the centre - making it a good sitting area to enjoy the outdoors 🥞 pancakes were unique, was a little skeptical coming into it as it came with a steep price tag, but saw that it was actually unique when served, with lots of different bits which makes for quite a flavour bomb - i would personally still prefer my pancakes the traditional way with savoury food though. 🥦 the cauliflower dish had a million flavours as well, a dish that is hard to processed flavour wise (in a good way) - the kale was the standout as it was perfectly crisp. ☕ coffee was too milky for the large cup, but otherwise decent It’s quite a pricey brunch spot for the quantity, though the quality is definitely present when comparing it to other cafes.

Great place to just hang out and chill The waitress serving us (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name but you had the nicest pair of corduroy overalls ever) was super friendly and attentive. Amazing service, she really put the work in to make sure everyone was having a great time.

This was the first place we ate at in Queenstown and it really did make a great impression. The team offered us a drink to celebrate our honeymoon, which was a nice touch, and the food was excellent. Matcha porridge was a standout breakfast porridge. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned for breakfast the last day of our trip despite breakfast being included at our hotel.

Wow, Al was looking after us and she was a delight. We have been in Queenstown for 10 day and we all voted this as our favourite meal and are considering back for breakfast but have flights to catch. Huge kudos to the chefs and staff. We highly recommend Yonder.

This place is a gem! Perfect breakfast spot but you can also get lunch & dinner, the vibe and seating area is awesome. Heaters and blankets accessible at each table in the winter, great music playlists and table service. The staff are happy to make changes to your dish if needed (I had things in separate bowls, and asked to swap ingredients from another meal).

Came for breakfast. The venue is actually much larger than expected from what we could see from the road. We got vegan pancakes with extra sausage. The pancakes were very good for being vegan (and maybe gluten free too IIRC). We were also impressed by what seems to be house made sausage, although they were more like koftas or burger patties. Not cheap but servings are generous. Service is very friendly and attentive. Venue is stylish and distinct.

This is a lively and vibrant brunch spot. I loved how enthusiastic the staff were when introducing the dishes. The four of us ordered different meals, and each one had a creative touch and a fresh, unique flavor. The indoor space was clean and well-organized, with great flow. Great spot in the sun overlooking the hills. Had one of the tastiest vegan eggs Benedict ever, with a whole load of lovely fresh veggies. Definitely recommend for fellow vegans looking for a big, filling breakfast.

Outstanding food at Bespoke cafe!! The Chilli scramble on the flat pancake-like potato rosti was amazing. Turkish breakfast also very refreshing and healthy tasting. All the cabinet food is divine too. A must go for breakfast! I'll also add that it's one of the best coffees I've ever had 🙌

Absolutely delicious breakfast in a beautiful location! Lots of seating inside and outside and you can see the mountains. Warm inside and the outside table had blankets. The portion size was generous. There are different vegan options.

A must-visit. Massive burger and one of the best I have ever had. Very busy place. Despite the long lines, the queue moved surprisingly fast for me. Worth it for the quality and flavour. Seating is limited, so be prepared to grab and go or eat standing but honestly, the burger steals the show.

This place deserves the hype! Definitely one of the best burgers I've had. I wish I could try all the burgers because the Sweet Bambi and Ferg Delux were amazing. I was really impressed with the speed given how many customers were waiting. People move quickly so even though seating might not be available there may be soon. We were there late Sep. It was Super long queue as expected, slowly but surely. Burgers are huge and surprisingly very juicy. I really like it. Generous on mayonnaise and sauces. We packed and went to lake so we can enjoy a view with these yummy burgers. Highly recommended. Is a Must try if you are at Queenstown!

Super delighted that this iconic destination has two vegan options. Both of them are amazing. Burgers are very juicy and the flavors are unique. The line can be quite long but luckily they close very late. Hope to see more vegan options to try in the near future! Make sure if you order vegan that the receipt says vegan or they will make it vegetarian instead as that is the default.for the two vegan options.

Went here on a Friday night and, as expected, was very busy. Be ready for a wait. Was it worth it? Its was better than ok but cant give it 5 stars; just above 3.5 stars. I did definitely like the fries, so crunchy!!!

Had a good experience at the Fergburger. The burger was fresh and very satisfying. The staff was polite and friendly. Service was quick considering the numbers of peoples lined up, during busy period like lunch time, expect at least 30 from lining up until food was provided. It a shame that the promises is not able to accommodate a sit down lunch experience but it a smart business moves to move customer along quickly.

This is a burger that everyone must try when they come to Queenstown. The taste is good. The queue is a bit long, but the wait for the food is not too long. There are seats in the shop. It's delicious. I recommend coming to eat.

5 stars on all accounts! Staff are friendly, helpful and timely. The atmosphere is wonderful, with a huge colourised poster of early Queenstown, beautiful lighting fixtures and comfortably sized seating and tables. Of course, the most important aspect is the food. While pricey, it's not substantially higher than other cafes in the region but it delivers exceptional quality, both in terms of presentation and flavour. The food is richly flavoured, with a good textural variety exceeding expectations. The obviously intentional choice of components is also excellent - usage of a crispy base layer (e.g. Toast or panko crumbs) to mop up sauces without becoming a soggy mess, sauces themselves seem to be home made (the hollandaise has that iconic 'layered' texture from not being overmixed) and good usage of supporting flavours/textures to improve edibility and cut through the richness (I note chives and basil are used for this). Aside from the actual consumption, the presentation is also fantastic, with dishes plated beautifully and generously. The effort really shows and there's an incredible attention to detail - your staff should be extremely proud of themselves. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The food is excellent, servings are large and services are excellent. Tried the mushroom egg benedict and french toast for the first day, absolutely brilliant. Came back on the other day and tried the lamb stew. Meat is soft without muttony and the sauce is perfectly fit.

Presentation was phenomenal and the menu looked great. Only to be extremely disappointed. We wait an hour to get our meal and spent $60 to have the most mid meal ever. We had the apple crumble pancakes which looked pretty but we dry and needed more syrup(which featured on the menu) to get through rather than it just thinly coated the plate. We could nearly taste the apple due to the over powering cinnamon. Would not recommend this meal. The lambs description on the menu was very misleading as it was not “cosy” at all it was a spicy Greek style lamb lacking in flavour. Overall it would of been fine if it weren’t for the misleading description on the menu and hour long wait.

We didn’t order off the menu as it was packed, but we got take away from the cabinet. They also use Wolff Coffee Roasters which are really good and tried their coconut milk which was really good too

Went there for breakfast. Theres outdoors and indoor seating. Ordered basic two eggs breakfast as i dont eat much for breakfast. It was pretty nice.. Well it was just scrambled eggs and bread and butter. Had the ginger lemon honey tea and it was perfect for the weather. Went out feeling all warm. Staffs were friendly too!

Our group of 5 had a pleasant breakfast at Vudu’s by the waterfront. There is seating both outside by the water and inside. The service was great, maple latte and green juice was delicious, and the food was all around very good! It is first come first serve in seating so need to make sure you grab a spot. Vibes were good. - Vudu Benedict: Pork belly is more of a pulled shredded pork, but still very yummy! Eggs were perfect. - Bacon Benedict: Bacon was just right and eggs were perfect. Bread was excellent. Wished for tad more sauce Crispy Chicken Burger: excellent. - Hoki Poke Bowl: solid bowl, fish was cooked and a bit too crispy.. (tad hard), not too interesting - Build your own plate: very yummy! Seasonal veggies were great.

Gorgeous place in Queenstown on the lake the lovely Rochelle and Sophie looked after us, the eggs Benny were perfectly good with smoked salmon and great coffee. Very popular we were travelling from OS looks like the locals place to be and why not qith the views, delicious food and people so friendly. Thank you top spot👏👏❤️

Great location and view! I found the food just fine, but the service and location was outstanding being right on the water and receiving very complementary service. The cappuccino was well done, but the avocado for the avocado toast tasted a bit packaged. Overall good experience though for a touristy area. The donut was one of the better pastries I’ve had in a long time. They mixed jam with a house whip cream and stuffed it in a cinnamon sugar donut. It was light and so good without being too sweet.

Lakefront drinks on the gravel beach in the cool spring sunshine. Can’t beat that really. A cold pint and a pear soda plus a bowl of chips. Perfect early evening little snack. Friendly staff and good table service.

Quite expensive, a lot like the rest of eating out places in QT, but… “proper” good food and matcha… yes matcha probably the best in Queenstown I’d say anyway. We walked in and luckily snagged a seat, (outdoor seating is not possible during or after wet weather events), regardless I’d recommend calling up before hand, you can tell it’s a popular destination, with the quality of food getting dished out it’s not hard to see why.

Purchased kale salad and 2 seafood chowders. Not quite a 4 or 5 star as the foods a bit basic to what we're used to. Was our quick breaky before skiing. My salad was kale, dressing, cheese and bread bits (croutons). The chowder is broth not stewed. Looks good though doesn't it!

It's a nice spot to grab a coffee, though the brew is a bit on the weak side. The atmosphere is great, and the views are fantastic, but there's room for improvement in the service. If you only order coffee, you'll be repeatedly encouraged to add food to your order. In my experience, I prefer to stick with my mild coffee.☕️

TikTok brought me here, so I probably should’ve expected it to be more hype than substance. The food was visually appealing but overall underwhelming in taste. The lemon blueberry French toast stood out as the best dish we tried, while the strawberry matcha was tiny, overpriced, and unimpressive. Overall, portion sizes run small to moderate and definitely feel overpriced for what you get. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the weekend rush and weren’t particularly attentive, though the service wasn’t outright rude either. We waited about 30 minutes for a table of four on a Saturday around 10 a.m. The real highlight is the setting—the views are stunning, and that seems to be the main draw of this spot.

This was our second or third visit for breakfast, and today, we went using First Table, which is great because you get 50% off the food. However, even with the discount, we’ve decided not to go back. We really like the location, the view of the lake is absolutely stunning, but unfortunately, the service could be much better, and the food just doesn’t live up to the rating. I’ve tried the Breakfast Chorizo before, which was okay, but this time, we had the Salmon Benedict and Turkish Eggs — nothing special at all. The French Toast was good and with a nice presentation, but it will cost you $28 if you have no discount. So definitely, there are better breakfast options around Queenstown. It feels like the kind of place that’s more for tourists — great for an Instagram photo and the lake view — but not really for the food or service. The waitress who served us was fine, but the manager on duty (I think her name was Minke) didn’t even say good morning or smile. I understand busy mornings can be stressful, but a simple greeting makes a big difference when people come hoping for a nice experience. The queue situation at the entrance is also poorly organised. Within a couple of minutes, we saw several people confused about whether the line was for paying or waiting for a table — it really needs better management. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot, but that’s about it. If you just want coffee and something quick, I’d recommend The Boat Shed Bakery nearby — same great view and much friendlier service. But if you’re after a really good breakfast in Queenstown, try Odd Saint and Sunfire in town or Gantley's Tavern in Arthur’s Point — all with much better experiences.

Fantastic location, tables outside have a great view of Frankton Marina and a really cozy atmosphere. The highlight of our meal were definitely the coffees, so so good we had to order more to takeaway before we left. My burger was very average and my partner’s scrambled eggs and chorizo was good. The dishes presented better than they tasted but overall ok. The front of the house staff was really nice and floor staff a bit unimpressive. 2 couples were seated after us and served first, had to keep asking for cutlery, water, napkins; also they were a lot friendlier to locals and regulars.. understandable but still felt a little inconsiderate especially in a touristy spot.

The food is not bad, i went here with my family and relatives for breakfast. We ordered quite alot, i got the blueberry french toast, my dad and brother got the burger with fries, my mum and cousin got the avocado toast, my aunt got the pasta and my 2 other cousins got the scrambled eggs and potatoes. For drinks i got the matcha latte, my dad and brother got the hot chocolate, my mun got the orrange juice, and my cousins got cappuccino. The cafe was spilt into 2 sections, outdoor seating and indoor seatings. We choose to seat indoors as it was abit cold but the outdoor seating area was facing a beautiful view of the mountains, sea and the sky. I only saw it when i went to the toilet at the back, it really is a beautiful view! You can hear the sea waves and feel the cool breeze, super relaxing and sets a good mood for the day!

Don’t skip breakfast here if you’re in the area! 🍳 The Boat Shed’s buffet was a real treat — fresh options all around, with the fried eggs cooked just right and plenty of other tasty picks to start the day. The place has a relaxed, sunny vibe, and the staff were quick and friendly, which made the morning even better. Overall, a great spot to fuel up and enjoy the view — definitely worth a stop.

Honestly fantastic, I got myself a Truffle pasta, which tasted really good. Maybe a bit too oily but it had good flavor. The latte wasn’t too special in my opinion price wise, but it was alright. The restaurant itself is very cute on the inside. The outside view will give you a scenery of the lake. The staff is nice, and will check up on you frequently. Overall experience was great 5/5

My go to cafe. I just love this place. It's one of the few places where as a coeliac I can order a tea & a scone in complete confidence. The team here are just amazing at checking if you are a coeliac to ensure the food is prepared correctly. I can't fault them and I've eaten at this place for several years. Recently I had their gluten free breakfast burrito which was a 10/10 and sooo filling. And on many occasions I've had the breakfast bun where they bake the hash browns for coeliac. My excitement is real for the hash brown!!! :-) I can't believe I only have a couple of food photos after all these years, but it's a beautiful comfy cafe and lots of outdoor seating. Highly recommend this place.

Caribe Latin Kitchen is hands-down the best Latin food I’ve had. I’ve tried many Mexican spots, and this is up there. The flavors are bold and authentic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great portions, fresh ingredients—this place never misses. A must-visit for anyone who loves Latin cuisine!

Cute wee spot, my partner and I really appreciated the flavours. The nachos were definitely the highlight of the meal, a bit small but so so tasty. The burrito was good according to my boyfriend, but I was so disappointed my beef meal was unbelievably salty. I’m not someone to waste food and leave it on the plate but I struggled to eat more than half of it and had to leave the rest. We had passion fruit margaritas which were good but you couldn’t really tell the difference from lime ones. A couple of little tweaks and this meal would have been outstanding. Kinda regret what I got as other food looked great. Staff was really friendly.

This is one of my absolute favourite spots in Queenstown. After living here for several years, it’s become my reliable go-to for a quick, tasty meal in a relaxed, funky setting. As someone with coeliac disease, I really appreciate being able to eat here confidently. I’ve never felt unwell after a meal. The veggie nachos I had last night were delicious, and the chicken arepas are a consistent favourite for lunch. My non-coeliac husband is also a big fan, often ordering the burritos or quesadillas. It’s a place that truly delivers great food and a great vibe for everyone. Highly recommend.

Me and my partner were looking for a place to have lunch when we found this restaurant the food was really well priced, amazing service with really nice people. The food came out pretty quick and it tasted fantastic, super filling as well. Over all an awesome experience would definitely recommend to anyone visiting queens town.

Tried latin food on our first night in Queenstown and it did not disappoint! Ordered aji de gallina, a chicken quesadilla and spicy chicken wings + sangria and beers. Great food and good vibes. Small restaurant with outdoor seating. A must try or make it your go to!

The environment is elegantly decorated, making it a comfortable place to enjoy brunch. The food was absolutely delicious — the avocado with potatoes was really tasty, I loved it! The fried chicken was also full of flavor, and the sauce made it irresistibly moreish. Parking around the area is easy. Definitely a must-visit!

My fav breakfast/ brunch spot at Queenstown. Walked in and was immediately seated. Ordered a tomato soup and Thai style rice porridge on a cold spring day. Tomato soup was our favourite, perfect thickness, right amount of savory. The bread that came with it and a generous serving of butter were good as well. Like all the other reviews mentioned , we ordered banana bread too, came with a serving of butter. Tasted amazing, soft, not too sweet. Definitely try. Their coffee wasn’t too bad either.

Modern and tasty brunch and breakfast spot. The restaurant itself was decorated lovely and the outdoor space was lovely even on a chilly day! Outstanding coffee, had to have 2 it was so good. We had the French toast and it was delicious with some great flavours. The menu itself is really fun and has some great savoury options as well, we will be back to try some more things on offer! It was our first morning in Queenstown and on the hunt for a decent brekkie. Did the usual Google recommendations and Odd Saint came up trumps. When we arrived, could clearly see why. The place was packed and there were people waiting outside. Usually, I wouldn’t bother and go somewhere else, but something said to stay. So popped our names on the list and 15 mins later we were seated. First off, the staff….amazing! So friendly, smiling and chatty. None of this “fake put-on stuff”, they came across as genuine and real… and this was consistent across all staff. Was so refreshing. Once inside, there were quite a lot of tables plus the outside courtyard which looked like it seated as many people as inside! That explains why the waitlist was so efficient. The menu was interesting with the classics given a bit of a twist and not too busy that you were confused on what to order. I love my eggs benny so I dove in with that decision and I wasn’t disappointed. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the side of streaky bacon delicious! Chai latte and coffee were on point too. Highly recommend stopping by Odd Saint and you can always book ahead on their website.

Spotted this place and decided to try it out for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and spot on with organising tables and how long the wait would be. We were told a table for 2 inside would be 15 minutes, and it was! Coffees were good and breakfast menu had a great selection. We went with the Brioche French Toast and Spiced Lamb. The french toast was actually really nice, but the cream was from a can and not fresh... The lamb was ok, tender but could have been a touch more spicy. Overall, we enjoyed it. Service was great and the wait for food was quick, for a busy café.

Great French Toast! Cute spot. I was in New Zealand last year and forgot to post a review. Was going through and deleting pictures I don’t need and remembered how much I enjoyed this restaurant. It was extremely busy and I was a solo traveler. My waitress was very nice and was able to fit me and my luggage into a spot 😂 I didn’t feel rushed at all and the vibes were excellent throughout the restaurant. Good drinks as well 👏🏻

Lovely place while om holidays in NZ, went for dinner, fish was good, lamb pasta also good and the rib corn BBQ was very tasty. Service was efficient by the very sweet lady who was on a working holiday( thank you for the conversation and enjoy your holiday also) parking is on street and plenty, wheelchair access. The bar is stocked well. Hot juice of lemon ginger and honey was amazing flavour in photo.

We ate here tricking while visiting Queenstown once for dinner and the other for breakfast. Service was fast and efficient the only down fall was when I ordered my schnitzel the gravy was a bit watery when I prefer it thicker and when we ordered the eggs Benedict the sauce wasn’t that thick like we usually like it. But that is the only bad thing I have to say. The food was nice and the service was great.

Called in for a burger and pint after getting off the plane. I had the beef burger and my wife had the vege burger. Both were amazing and the fries were the same. Staff were great. Very attentive and could not fault the experience (not our first visit there and won’t be our last)

All-day cafe energy with lake-town ease; flat whites pour velvety, no bitter edge. Corn fritters stack tall with streaky bacon and chili jam. Eggs bene arrive with lemony hollandaise, hash are crunchy. Kids menu saves mornings. Service is upbeat and fast; windows throw big light, and parking actually easy here.

The food presentation was poor, and the bacon was soft and soggy instead of crispy. Even the signature fried chicken wasn’t crispy at all. It seemed like the chef was distracted — maybe too busy talking on the phone. The food didn’t meet any proper standard. Definitely not worth the price.

David who served us was awesome! Great service. We went the day before also and the little girl who served us was also very good. We came back because of her service and then was delighted to have David who was also so friendly and had a fantastic customer service personality. The food was great. Would recommend. The group of ten all enjoyed the experience.

Flame Bar and Grill ended up being our absolute favourite meal in Queenstown. In fact, we loved it so much that we booked again for our last night. We kicked things off with the Appetiser Taste for 2 and the entrée-sized Mozambique Prawns. Honestly, that was plenty for the three of us. The chicken looked pretty standard, so my wife was going to skip it, but after my daughter and I raved about it, she gave in—one bite and she was hooked. Juicy, flavour-packed, and cooked just right. The Boerewors was just as tasty, and the Crispy Calamari hit the mark: light batter, crisp, well-seasoned, not dry at all. The prawns, though, stole the show. They came in this creamy, slightly spicy sauce that we stirred through the rice—pure perfection. For mains, my wife’s ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious, with a rub that added flavour before the sauce even touched them. My daughter and I both went for the 350g ribeye—perfectly cooked, so tender, and paired with mushroom and pepper sauces. Both were great, but the pepper sauce definitely won. The overall dining experience was excellent—great food, attentive service, and lovely views if you’re seated by the window. Handy tip: book online! We saw a few people walk away disappointed when there weren’t any tables left.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place was absolutely amazing! The beer was great, and the mojito was incredible - I felt like I was right back in the Caribbean. The ribs were delicious, but the steak was pure perfection. I’ve lived in the Northeast for a few years, and I can honestly say this was one of the top three calamari dishes I’ve ever had. Definitely come check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant is a 💯 must visit when coming to Queenstown!! You definitely need to book ahead to get in as it is always extremely busy. We loved it so much on our holiday we ended up going twice. The food is extremely delicious and very fresh. The service is amazing and friendly as well. If you can sit near the window overlooking the lake with the windows open, this really enhanced our second visit. Being from Australia, we don’t ever need to tip staff. However on our 1st visit the young waitress, I think her name was M Carys, the name on the receipt, was so good we actually added a tip. The fries have a really delicious salt that should be for sale. The red wine jus is also very moorish. Over all if this restaurant was in Adelaide Australia, we would frequently visit. Well Done 👍

We visited this restaurant at around 14:00, and about half of the tables were available. We ordered three dishes: the rib and steak combo, lamb skewers, and grilled vegetables. The lamb was soft and tender, though it could have been even better if it were a bit juicier. The combo plate was about 80% pork ribs and 20% steak, which felt a little unbalanced. Unfortunately, the pork ribs were quite dry and chewy, making them difficult to finish. I hope this can be improved in the future. As this is a flame grill bar, there’s an impressive open flame cooking station in the center of the kitchen—it looks great, but it also produces some smoke that can leave your clothes smelling afterward. The service team was friendly and efficient, always smiling. However, the waiter forgot to bring our bill at the end, which was a small pity.

Book early for this one — seriously, good time slots disappear fast! 🍽️ Service here is on point, and you’ll be greeted with massive portions that could feed a small army. The beef and ribs were solid, but the surprise star was the Mozambique prawns with rice — rich, flavourful, and totally worth coming back for. Only gripe? The sheer size of the servings means you might leave feeling more stuffed than satisfied, so maybe bring a big appetite or a friend to share. Overall, a hearty, tasty experience that’s well worth the effort to snag a table.

Amazing grill, all of the meat was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Would highly recommend a visit if your in Queenstown! It can get very busy though so book ahead.

We had a wonderful experience tonight at the Flame Bar and Grill. Josh took extra steps to help us with a reservation and table with a view for our anniversary. Carys provided top-notch service and recommendations. My wife loved her steak, and I was impressed by the ribs and chicken skewer. It ended with a delicious flaming bombe Alaska. We highly recommend the Flame!

Loved our dinner here - mussels were fabulous and staff were really attentive and friendly. We ordered the 2 hour slow cooked rib eye steak, fries, peaking duck and mussels with garlic toast. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the lake.

We did like the food, all three dishes we ordered were very good, ribeye being the best of them all (although I asked for medium rare and it arrived closer to well done). Despite restaurant being quite busy, we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. They seem understaffed, sometimes it takes awhile to get their attention, but overall impression is positive, would dine with them again, if had a chance.

Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. He recommended the Jungle Curry to go with our mussels, and they were delicious! Generous portions and the serving were perfect for two of us. Will be back to try more of the other items we saw other people eating, like the burgers and steak.

Great food and nice decor! The green mussels are a New Zealand special. They were fabulous. The French toast donut was also really good, but too much cream. Recommend ordering that on the side. Food was really good and paired well with the atmosphere.

Attentive service that's not overbearing. Food was nicely presented.. you should definitely try the blue cod wings!! Great way to use up something not normally seen on a menu, you get a meaty bit + uber crispy fins, doused in a tangy buffalo sauce with salsa verde. The lamb main had a yummy earthy crust to it. The chicken pilaf could have done with some raisins/currants and rice that wasn't so overcooked otherwise it had some lovely flavours. Mains were quite big, especially after eating two starters so order with your stomach and not your eyes!

Good food in a beautiful location! We popped in here opportunistically on a Wednesday evening for a solid 4.5/5 meal! Would definitely recommend stopping by. Starting with a beer and wine during Happy Hour, we followed it up with a large bowl of the Panang curry mussels and the beefburger. Both were tasty but nothing extraordinary. What makes this place special is the mountain and lake view, combined with the retro internal fit out. Staff were on it and the head waitress was very accomodating.

Definitely under the top 5 of restaurants I’ve ever been to. The waiter was super friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is very cozy and comfortable. My main dish was super complex with lots of different tastes on the plate cooked to perfection my mates dish maybe even better. The dessert was the most creative one I’ve had in a long time small tarts filled with caramel and chocolate mousse up top plus extra ingredients. You can’t even complain about the look it was set up perfectly on the plate. I can’t really feel the people that complain about a small menu because that’s usually the conformation that the food is fresh...

We had such a lovely dinner here - Andie provided amazing service and recommendations. And the seafood platter was delicious - a great sampler of different fish and flavors and perfect to share for 2, we were full! We were there celebrating on our honeymoon, and they wrote us a little card - it was a sweet personal touch. Highly recommend!

We were served by Nadine who provided us a great experience and gave us some great advice. We ordered a bunch of starters - Cob Loaf, Glazed Prawns, Fried Cauliflower, Ceviche, Scallops. My personal favourite was the glazed prawns but the Ceviche and the Cauliflower were also nice. For mains we had - Mussels with Green Curry, Market Fish (Snapper), half Crayfish (260g) and Seafood Platter was shared by my sister and brother in law. That was a lot of food with the platter! All the food tasted great and we all had food coma by the end of it! 😅 We did end up sharing dessert between the 4 of us, Whittakers Chocolate Mousse and Affogato which was a nice way to polish off the night. Did I mention the great service we got from Nadine? 😉😁😁

Phenomenal service, Andie was kind,polite and approachable waitress who was constantly attentive, smiley and helpful when choosing our food. Our meal was absolutely delicious, choosing the ceviche for a starter and the seafood pasta for a main course. The food was full of flavour and tasted unbelievably fresh. All round great experience, made better by Andie and the other waitresses...

Dinner at FINZ was a little bit of a mix bag. We finished the evening with a beautiful main course, but it starting out disappointing with our first course. To start, we ordered Steamed Mussel Dumplings and Braised Octopus and Paua. The dumplings were barely warm and very doughy to eat, they weren't nice but might have been if they were hot! The octopus and paua were not the right flavor and a bit chewy. Then came the mains, Crispy Skin Salmon and Green Lipped Mussels, plus a side of Seasonal Vegetables. Well, the salmon, beautiful, slightly over but delicious! The braised cabbage, pickle, and sauce... very nice! The green lipped mussels were great too, a little bit creamy for the liking, but still great. And the seasonal vegetables were quite nice and had yams, yum, plus potatoes and broccoli. Perfect side! Service from all in the restaurant was all smiles, polite, friendly and quick to deliver both drinks and courses. It was almost a 5, if only our starters were on point.

We had a wonderful experience at Finz! We are here for our honeymoon so they welcomed us with a sweet card and complimentary glasses of Prosecco. Additionally, the food and the service from Emily and staff were outstanding. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely dinner at Finz the night before we depart New Zealand. It was such a nice dinner with good food and good services. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who will spend nice time in Queenstown.

The NZ crayfish is mushy and soft, you can imagine the meat tasted softer and mushier than a shrimp. Double checked with the waiter and they claimed that looks right to them. Other than that the seat is not cleaned and stained. You would be able to find a better restaurant nearby.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Captains. The food was stunning and the service was excellent. I was served by Hasan this evening, he was very warm and welcoming and provided some top notch service. He was very attentive to the section that I was seated in and was swift with taking my order and clearing the table without any pressure to finish my food. The atmosphere was very relaxed, a good place to have conversation. The music isn’t overpowering and the seating is comfortable and cosy. Tonight I had the Lamb Rack, the flavours were impeccable and everything was cooked to perfection. If you’re especially hungry the portion might not satisfy you, but it strikes a good balance between fancy and filling. I for one had room for dessert and went with the apple pie. It was a perfect way to finish the evening, striking a good balance between being sweet and tart. If you’re in Queenstown it’s definitely worth checking out!

I love the vibes here - perfect place to get the Queenstown Marina feel. Food was delicious! I ordered the fish of the day and my boyfriend had a steak and his brother had the langoustine. All fabulous. Then we ordered desert and wow the crème brûlée was to die for! Must order!! The apple pie was very impressive too. The server was so nice ☺️

If you want to experience a truly flavorful seafood chowder, this is the place you must visit! It was so good that I could have had several more bowls. The lamb and beef steaks were also excellent. The only regret is that today was our last day, so we couldn’t come back for more.

I had seafood chowder (creamy and rich. Not overly salted. Comparatively, not as much seafood as the others i've had. The broth is good enough.. the toasts it comes with is already buttered.) and mulled wine (its hot, not overly sweet but i cant really taste the orange and the spices. Its not bad.) Service: the staff are very friendly. They will check in on you from time to time. Atmosphere: Nice. Good vibes. Lively.

Great breakfast here, my partner had the eggs Benedict which they poached the eggs perfectly and you can tell they actually make the hollandaise sauce in house, unlike most places in NZ. I had the chicken waffles, plated beautifully, very tasty. Staff were attentive and quick to seat us. Little gem in Queenstown

Really tasty tacos, we spent about $35 on 5 tacos. Good range of fillings and they are loaded so fill you up! The only thing to let it down is the actual tortilla of the taco - tastes cheap and floury. Nothing mexican about it, would much prefer corn or something more authentic.

This place is amazing. Just proves that food quality in Queenstown comes in all shapes and sizes. Started off as a taco truck and now it’s a hole in the wall restaurant. The staff are friendly and happy to chat through the menu. Tacos were absolutely delicious. We had 3 tacos each. The prawn and fish were fresh, delicious and plentiful. The chicken was great also.

The tacos here are so great that we came back again just two days later! The soft tacos are cut and prepared right in front of you, and the other ingredients are also fresh, and at $7 they are excellent value. Our favourites were the Bajaman (baja-style fried monk fish) which was just incredible and such fresh, tender monk fish, and the Koura (marinated prawns) was also tangy and succulent. We tried most of them including one from their veggie/vegan menu and they all were superb. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients, and it was great watching them work from the indoor seating which looks over their work counter. For drinks, we enjoyed their range of natural organic sodas.

Came here because it's $6 tacos on Tuesdays (normally $8 a taco). I got the pulled pork, prawns and pan seared fish tacos with a side of nacho chips. All were delicious and sauce of different spiciness levels are provided. Make sure to come early because they ran out of tortillas and a lot of people missed out. Apparently I got the last order which was very lucky. The staff are super friendly and made my experience even better.

Amazing tacos, great vegetarian and fish options. You can tell the tacos were well thought through and planned and really took into account culture. Would definitely recommend tourists and locals to drop by. Better then other Mexican/Latino places too.

Easily the best tacos in Queenstown, probably the best in New Zealand. Great service and reasonable prices. I tried the fish, the prawn and the pork tacos. Each one was incredible, but the fish taco was a standout. Be mindful that the place is tiny and there is only enough indoor seating for about ten people (but there are some benches outside). Best to go outside if peak dining hour to get a seat inside.

Tucked behind The Grill and somewhat in the back alleyway of Queenstown, is this amazing place that served quite possibly the most delicious tacos I’ve ever had. Order four taco to try out a few options but my favourite was the Baja (fish) and the Prawn one. But all are super tasty so you can’t really go wrong. Their mango chilli sauce is a great condiment which I wish they sold in bottles!

While some pieces were cooked a bit too long, the spices and seasoning used were very well done and really brought out the rich, authentic flavors. The grilled bananas and pineapples were also a pleasant surprise—they were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. In the beginning, the service was a bit off. The server seemed unhappy when we mentioned we weren’t ordering drinks, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. However, the situation improved as the meal went on, and the service became much more attentive and friendly as the evening progressed. Despite the initial awkwardness with the service, the overall experience was positive, and the flavorful BBQ and unique side dishes made up for the minor issues. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty BBQ with a variety of grilled options!

Fogo is one of my favourite restaurants for lunch! I was disappointed with their pork belly as it was quite hard to eat, but when I started ordering the chicken wrapped in bacon and their set meal for 2 I just kept ordering the same thing! Same as their drinks it's so yummy! Also good service and value for money for lunch special deals!

Very unique experience in our first try with South American BBQ! Ribeye was great, though the Picanha in the Boteco platter was a bit too thick and chewy. Brazilian Lemonade was a little too concentrated for our taste, but enjoyed it overall.

Excellent experience as the rating suggests - we opted for the all you can eat option which is the first I’ve been to that is not timed, so you just keep eating until you can’t anymore. Great meat options, sides unlimited plus pineapple. They kept asking us what cuts we wanted and were very attentive with service. Definitely recommend.

I’d been really looking forward to trying this place, and I finally got to visit on the first day of my NZ trip. The cookies are so much better than the ones back home — now I totally understand the hype! I tried two vegan options (choc chip and chocolate) and one regular choc chip cookie, and they were all exceptional. Super moist on the inside, packed with sweetness and chocolate, but not overly rich or overpowering. Highly recommended and definitely a must-try while you're in town!

Loved the decor of this shop and I wanted to get everything from the shop. They had a wide range of options for cookies, gelatos, and merchandise. I got a free mocha from them as they made the wrong order I reckoned. I loved the rich flavor and creamy texture of the drink. It even came with free small cookie.

Energetic staff, unique retail concept. It’s hard to beat warm cookies and they were pretty good. These are thin Mrs Fields / Subway-like style cookies. Pretty good, but highly subjective. Not cheap though. There are some over the top spins on cookies and ice cream as well.

This place smells like heaven. Warm good old fashioned cookies and milk, match made in heaven. White chocolate and macadamia cookie, warm and fresh out of oven was beyond imagination delicious and the best kinda treat after a full day of fun in the lovely Queenstown. Must Try (at least once😁) when in Queenstown.

Cookie Time has freshly baked cookies daily and also pre packaged cookies for u to buy back and share iwth your family. Their cookies are mazingly delicious! Super smooth, creamy, soft and melts in your mouth almost instantly! A must buy snack for tourists visiting New Zealand Queenstown!!

Went here on the 27th Aug at night and the team were very friendly and informative! Food was delicious, we especially loved the Nutella shake and warm cookies. The customer service was excellent, thank you for the girls who were so accommodating that cold night. 🫶🏼 (ps, don’t mind the pic of the shake, couldn’t resist the whip cream - too good!!)

Buy a cookie between the hours of 6pm and 7pm everyday and you get another for free. Inside cookie time theme decor . I was feeling more thirsty right there so I ordered a caramel salted flake shake also some original cookie time biscuits for afterward . So tasty and delicious was the shake I should have bought 2 😁 There is a counter table there to sit and enjoy your sweets . If you're a big fan of cookie time they sell merchandise also inside the store. Hopefully they may open up one store in Auckland

Although it caught the last of the sun on a Sunday evening and had live music, we sat down because on the menu was a smash burger. We were excited for this having wanted to try ferg burger but the line was huge. Unfortunately, this was NOT a smash burger and should not have been listed as such. The patty had no resemblance of having being pressed into the grill and then bun had been toasted too much and made the entire thing really dry. Silver lining was that the pulled pork tacos were bigger than expected and pretty tasty

I had the most bland fish tacos of my life at World Bar. Not even the “spicy aioli” could save these things. No seasoning in the fish batter and none on the slaw. My server was nice but all the other workers kept congregating at a table right next to ours and they were being incredibly loud and disruptive.

A fantastic Sunday night enjoyed by all. A warm, cosy bar with an open fire & great live music. Really good food for sharing or not if you are with teenagers! Amazing staff. Delicious food & great drinks! Will definitely return & highly recommend!

So far it’s been a 50+min wait on a Tuesday afternoon for a burger while there is 10 people here. Not really good enough. I walked past the kitchen and someone was on their phone at the pass. They also advertise a happy hour, but it’s only on two low carb, low bal tap beers.

A better burger than the famous spot in town and a much better experience overall: there is a spacious, heated patio outside with a good atmosphere and you don’t have to wait in a huge quiet before you can place an order. Don’t waste your precious holiday time just for a picture…enjoy time with your loved ones here.

We booked space at World Bar for our group of 40 people on a Friday night. Amanda was amazing helping us coordinate everything. Food was top notch Mexican and overall it was an excellent night!

Had the most delicious meal in Queenstown with the family here @Thai Cuisine! All the dishes were cook perfectly for our asian taste buds and the service was quick and portions are big! We love it so much and had really satisfied our cravings for thai food. Highly recommend for those looking for some thai food in Queenstown!

This place is truly something special! My partner ordered a Thai milk tea, but guess what? I ended up drinking three by myself — it was that delicious! The Thai milk tea had such an authentic flavor, rich and perfectly balanced. The lychee water was wonderfully refreshing and lightly sweet, and the pineapple drink was crisp and revitalizing. Honestly, I felt like I had just discovered the best drinks in all of Queenstown. And if you’re pairing them with the best fried rice ever, it’s an unbeatable combo! The grilled pork neck was also incredible — I drank so many amazing drinks that I had to take the pork home. Let me tell you, eating it the next day was pure happiness! Both my partner and I agree without a doubt: We’ll definitely be coming back — and we’re recommending this place to all our friends! 🥰🥢🍍🧋

This is an ok place. I was not impressed with food. Quantity was small for price and the food felt like super market sauce. Chicken corn soup 14$. Chicken basil 26$ and fish green curry 38$ with med rice 6$ Overall bill 84

Planned to have beef restaurant. But, when we stopped by Thai, we decided to change the plan and it turned to a good decision. After 10 days in NZ, Thai food is so delicious.

Amazing!! Delicious food! We had a big group of 9 and all the foods were incredible, all came out at the same time and was hot and delicious! The staff were amazing and also we’re extremely accomodating for my 1 year old- made her an origami bird and gave her a kids spoon to play with as they noticed she wanted to play with mine, amazing food and service! Will definitely be back!!

WOW. The flavors of my Tom Yum and Red Curry were bold and perfectly balanced. It came out super quick too. I left the restaurant extremely happy and satisfied. That doesn’t happen to me very often

Went for breakfast, food was tasty but far too much cream and not enough berries on the French toast, the eggs Benedict was served on what looked like a burger bun instead of toasted sourdough. Service was a little bit average and it wasn't very busy. Great spot with lovely views though.

I’m not sure why this place had low ratings. We stumbled upon it just looking at menus outside restaurants on this area. It looked very good and did not disappoint! The seafood linguini was excellent and my wife enjoyed the risotto. The deck with heaters made it very comfortable and the service was great. I recommend it!

Highly Disappointed with the inconsistency of the meals we had. We ordered two mains the eye fillet steak which was more like a scotch fillet for $56.50 it came out dry and over cooked, it was replaced with another piece but sadly when that came out, it came with the same chips from our first piece just re fried in the deep fryer so those were also overcooked and oily, the salad on the side came out first with just lettuce the second time they had put some cherry tomatoes cucumber and red onion on top. the seafood chowder was of entree size with 3 mussels 2 prawns and a few mushed up pieces of fish. There was more bread served on the side than the chowder itself for 34.50 for a restaurant in the main vicinity and prime spot of Queenstown, pier over charges and under delivers. The only thing that was of enjoyment was the setting.

Really nice venue, great view of the lake and mountains, plenty of outdoor heating and staff were very quick and friendly. Unfortunately food was a huge let down, I paid $45 for 3 of the worst tacos I've ever had. 3 poorly cooked little fish sticks sitting on an absurd mountain of cabbage which overpowered any flavour, I had to scoop half of the cabbage out just to be able to pick them up and eat them. The fish sticks were packed with uncooked flour yet were overcooked and chewy. Extra cabbage doesnt add value to an overpriced taco, just ruins the flavour. Cut away most of the cabbage filler and make the salsa pop with more flavours, chopped avocado, pickled red onion and carrot, pinch of fresh coriander. Either that or charge a realistic price for what is just a flavourless bowl of cabbage.

Fantastic food and a beautiful setting on the harbor. The lamb shank was delicious, and the seared scallops were perfectly done. The heaters made for a comfortable evening meal under the stars.

If I could speak to everyone in Queenstown in person one sentence I would so easily say to go to the Pier. I’ve never had much experience with sea food meals but this has given me the most warming and beautiful feeling i’ve had with experiencing the seafood chowder. Could never recommend more

Browsing through Google Maps it wasn’t very obvious from the restaurant name that it catered some of my favourite foods of bagels and donuts. I was pleasantly surprised when looking a bit deeper and upon trying found it to be one of the better bagel places I’ve been. The donuts are creative and great as well. Great value casual spot. The venue seating set up is a bit odd and seems better suited to groups of 4.

The Best breakfast spot in Queenstown. Friendliest staff and incredible fresh made bagels with soo many good options. We tried many and my partner has been coming back for years. Highly recommend visiting and having some snacks here!

If you’re looking for your last meal before hibernation, look no further. These Shake ‘n’ Balls will send you on your way. Recommended to share‼️ For my fellow burger lovers I’d say check out the Burgels. Cheese Burgel with added bacon would hit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my book. It’s a twist on a classic and well done. Still really just a cheese burger and that’s why it can’t quite get the 5⭐️ from me. Cafe priced food so be prepared to spend some $ But worth it for a treat!

I came here twice when I was visiting queenstown and both times were busy. This place was always filled with customers and I found the place stuffy when it was crowded. They had an interesting display of donuts at the counter and I was tempted to get one, though they looked sugar overloaded. I had bagels twice and I loved how they were freshly made, though the wait time was a tad long with a steady flow of customers coming in.

We were here on 30/9/2025 1300 Have two really nice Burgels!! One is buffalo chicken another one is porkzilla. They both perfect and the bread on it won’t be too chowy it’s fluffy and tasty with the cooked sesame dressing. Only Coleslaw is quite boring. Besides is all perfect. The decoration in restaurants, service, staff looks happy. If really need to make something improve, just need to clean table more proper. Thank you make my day!

I had the Kill Bill II burger which was superb and one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time! A very big juicy burger, stacked with dill pickles and pickled red onions. The chips were great and a huge potion with a really good peppery mayo. My wife had the Buddha Bowl which looked fantastic and she loved it (I forgot to take photos of our food). We were staying at the Ramada and ended up having two dinners and a breakfast here - was so good. Great service and very accomodating to my partner who is gluten free. Truffle fries were amazing

One of my favourite places for breakfast in Queenstown. Eggs Bene with salmon is soo yummy. Also I love the burgers.

Kicked off our Queenstown trip with breakfast at Franks, and it couldn’t have been better. The food was spot on, the Aunt Bird and Einstein dishes were both packed with flavor and definitely worth ordering. What really stood out, though, was the service. Ella looked after us and was just incredible. She was friendly, helpful, and full of local knowledge. She gave us great advice on what to see around Queenstown and even tips on catching the bus. The fact that she offered her number in case we got lost was next-level thoughtful! Big thanks to Ella and the team at Franks for such a great start to our trip. We’ll be back for sure!

We had a fantastic experience at Franks on our first day in Queenstown! We stopped by for breakfast early in the morning, and the service was top-notch. The Aunt Bird and Einstein dishes were both delicious! highly recommend them! The staff(Ella) who helped us, was amazing. Not only did she serve us with a smile, but she also gave us great tips on the best spots what to visit in Queenstown and how to get around on the bus. She even offered her number in case we got lost, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Huge thanks to her for making our day extra special. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Kitchen was already in the process of closing at 8 PM, and they also told us that we couldn't dine in. I'm not really all that upset by it, but Google has an option for Kitchen close times now. Plus if you won't be seating us at 8-8:30 and have to check if we can order, then just change your listed close time tbh. Would save both late arriving customers and your kitchen staff a headache. We got served, just had to go eat outside. Food was pretty solid despite that annoyance, though. Would recommend coming back here. The poutine isn't poutine, it's just cheese and gravy, which is really quite different.

We needed to do laundry on a windy rainy cold day and this eatery was just around the corner. They were very busy but the wait was well worth it for an amazing breakfast. I ordered the Baileys Hot Chocolate and the French Eatery and my partner had the Frank Einstein and a mocha. Definitely a must go kinda place!!!

We were just looking to get a coffee for the road to Mt. Cook. Saw this as the closest cafe from the car rental. Boy are we glad we did. What a nice surprise. We loved the ambiance inside the cafe. The staff were so friendly and polite. Like everything/everywhere in New Zealand, so clean and comfortable. There is a barn outside and sitting area and facts about bees and I believe there is also bee farm. We didn’t get much chance/time to explore but what we saw was already impressive. Quite a large selections of honey inside the cafe. We had the cinnamon roll, savory scones and lattes. They were delicious!! I highly recommend this place and spend a little longer time exploring than we did.

We did the combo tour with Nick and a lovely woman with red hair whose name escapes me. Both were knowledgeable and accommodating and fun! We learned a lot about bees, honey, native plants and the history of beekeeping. I highly recommend this family-friendly activity.

Highly recommend! We went to quite a few coffee spots in downtown Queenstown but I would still recommend this area. The vibe was awesome with the animals and small shops. We picked up some yummy honey too. The pizza/bar spot also had a great patio. Great little stop maybe before a flight out. Service was lovely.

Absolutely loved my visit to Buzzstop! I ordered the Big Brekkie and the Buzzstop Ice Cream Waffle—both were amazing. The sautéed peppers and mushrooms in the brekkie were incredibly flavorful, pairing perfectly with the crispy bacon, sausage, and poached egg. The ice cream waffle was a delightful treat—soft, sweet, and beautifully presented. The chef was super friendly and chatty, making the experience even better. The outdoor seating is fantastic, with bean bags on the lawn for a truly relaxed vibe. It’s a great spot whether you’re catching up with friends or just enjoying some time alone. Plus, there are little bunnies hopping around! The interior has a charming, vintage feel, adding to the overall chill atmosphere. Definitely a place worth visiting!

This cafe as part of a community hub is a hidden gem. Country Lane is collection of local businesses in a kind of collective. Definitely a must visit if you’re into something different, sustainable and local. I had a turmeric latte with alternative milk and it was delicious! I also bought some NZ honey that tastes amazing. Support local and put Buzzstop on your list to visit.

This shop is so charming they sell all things honey related ! They even have a delicious cafe with pastries with honey ! This whole area in Frankton Is a must visit especially if you love artisan goods!!!! Very special and unique

Cool place... they have different honey meads.. food.. alot of different honeys which u can sample (some are very nice indeed!)... n workshops u can join to make balms and other wax-related products. Might wanna allocate 3 to 4 hours to it... and more to explore the whole of country lane.

Superb breakfast, the Eggs Benedict on brioche was excellent. I love the use of brioche so no sawing through thick bread. It was soft and lovely to soak up the hollandaise and basil oil. I had bacon and my mum had salmon. Both excellent, tasty and well presented. Value for money!! Place was a little hard to find, but worth it. Best breakfast in Queenstown!

You have to get the lamb shoulder!! It was so delicious I could eat another right now. We stopped here for breakfast before our flight back home. The food is amazing. Staff friendly. I think the location is a bit off the beaten track but it’s worth the trip. Parking was a bit tough, the lot is tight and there are few spaces to be had, but in the end we got a spot right out front.

Gosh. This cafe is a hidden gem! The warmth upon stepping into the cafe, literally and figuratively, was impeccable. It was cosy and everyone working there were in such positive attitudes! Besides the amazing ladies serving me, even the chef greeting me when he walked past me (Martin, was it?) made the whole experience wholesome. And guys, I am not kidding when I say this is probably one of the best omelettes I've ever had in my life. I did not expect that since it looked rather innocuous, or rather, unassuming, when I was served. No words can describe how runny the omelette was and how the flavours of the herbs and ingredients play so beautiful in your mouth. At $14.50, I do find it a tad more expensive than I'd have paid, since the Sourdough was just two small slices, but the impeccable service exceeds what I'm paying for. I'm not a coffee connoisseur so I can't comment on the coffee. Kudos to the amazing team! Definitely be back when I'm driving towards QT again.

Highly deserving of a plug. Their Big Brekky is one of the finest around. Great coffee. And terrific helpful happy staff. Ps. Very easy parking right outside, so why the heck would you go to a Downtown or 5-Mile cafe!

I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast here. I ordered vegetarian options and the food felt like a warm hug. The staff is super nice too. Highly recommend this place. Can vouch that it’s great for vegetarians

If you're a local - this is where you go. The Chef is outstanding. Service excellent. Food delicious. I almost want to take the car in to be serviced more frequently just to have an excuse to wait it out at the Arctic. Also, a great solution to grabbing a read-made dinner when you don't feel like cooking.

This place in Queenstown is always buzzing with customers, and it’s easy to see why. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions, making for a satisfying meal. The chocolates and desserts were outstanding — rich, well-made, and clearly crafted with care. On top of that, the amazing view of the surrounding mountains and lake adds a stunning backdrop to the experience, making it even more enjoyable. Although it can get very crowded, the lively atmosphere adds to the charm, and it’s worth the wait if you’re patient. A fantastic spot to enjoy both a meal and some indulgent treats, and one I’d happily return to.

We stopped by this chocolate shop and decided to try their ice cream—wow, it was amazing! So rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the chocolate in every bite. The shop itself had such a cozy, inviting feel and so many tempting treats to choose from. Definitely a must-visit spot if you have a sweet tooth!

This place is an absolute gem. We came for dessert after dinner and the place was busy. They have got a wide selection of ice cream flavors and so are chocolates. I was attracted to the interesting display of desserts at the counter. I liked the atmosphere of the place and I got myself a hot chocolate to warm myself up as the weather was cold during winter. To my surprise the drink came with a cookie and I loved it. The hot chocolate was rich and creamy and it was one of the best hot chocolate drinks I had ever had. Would love to come back to try more of their desserts one day if I happened to be around.

Lovely store and very yummy chocolate and icecream. The shop assistant who helped me today was named Eve, and she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Great experience visiting the store this morning, and I do hope that you open a branch in Sydney, Australia!

Be ready for a crowd, but also for some seriously good treats 🍦🍫. Patagonia’s ice cream is rich and full of flavour — we tried a few and loved almost every one. The chocolate-dipped cones are a fun touch, though the toppings don’t stick as well as they should, so expect a bit of crumble. Still, with quality like this, it’s easy to see why the place is always buzzing.

Friendly staff and a vast array of sweet treats and chocolates galore. Great offering of ice creams too. Superior hot chocolate if you’re looking for a good one, after many disappointing ones in Queenstown, this was the star of the show.

This place is massive! They offer a huge range of ice cream, drinks, chocolates, and pastries. I ordered two coffees — a decaf cappuccino and a mocha. They were a bit on the pricey side at around $6.50 each, but each coffee came with a small complimentary biscuit, which was a nice touch.

Nice place to eat. Food was very good except the lamb - all I got was a piece of fat and some sinews. Service is good. Don’t know about mornings or evenings, but during lunch time is was very hard to find place to sit to find a place to sit.

Three different plates sizes to choose from ($10, $18, $25) or go for a $10 bowl if you fancy soup. A selection of 4 different meats, slow cooked beef or lamb, lamb meatballs or roasted chicken and a variety of different vegetable dishes. You select your plate size and then the staff will dish up the food you point out. The staff were friendly and welcomed us on arrival. The sign that calls out the available plate sizes says “Fill your plate any way you like” however in practice this is not quite true. I love my meat however do not particularly enjoy root vegetables at all - fussy perhaps however that is what I like - I asked for a mix of the slow cooked beef, lamb and a leg of chicken. I was told that was not possible since I could only have 1 portion of meat. There is no written material or an understandable answer from the staff to explain what a “portion” is, all I can say is they gave me some beef and lamb and denied me the chicken. I didn’t want anything else and they did not understand this, I agreed they could put some roast potatoes on my dish so to end what was a back n forth of “what vegetables do you want?, “no I don’t like vegetables”, “the kumura is tasty”, “no thank you, nothing”, “how about the carrots?”, “no I don’t like those vegetables”, “we have pumpkin”, “no thank you, meat only is fine”, “roasted potatoes??”... quite frustrating. Anyhow... getting past that, the “any way you like” should be “any way you like as long as you stick to our rules on what you can or cannot select”. I eventually got my food and sat down. It was mediocre in taste, not bad, just for $18 felt poor value which was exacerbated by the fact that the venue was cold since the door never stayed closed fully which meant I was cold and the food became cold very quickly. The good points were the friendly staff and a nice bright spacious eating area. I won’t be returning but if you have tried all the other places in Queenstown and want a variation then sure, check the place out.

Fantastic Eatery in Queenstown - one of my favorites here. Lovely ambiance. Super great food, and beverages including fantastic coffee, good service. Can never go wrong with Big Fig

Went to this restaurant for Saturday dinner, not too busy and can take a seat unless you have big group of people. Reasonable price but very nice food considering this is Queenstown. Me and my son ordered small, but it was so good so we ordered second. should have ordered medium or large plate to share. Very spacy and reasonably quiet so we did have a great catch up with our friends.

Food quality is very good, and fast service. They also have free sparkling water, and a clean establishment. The meat portions are quite small for the price though, was still hungry after a $19 medium bowl. They only have mint yoghurt and vegan aoili as sauce choices - would have liked some more options like sweet chilly, bbq ect.

Sooooo good! Went to there Queenstown and Wanaka store and both didn’t disappoint. Great place for a healthy dinner feed (great after finishing a long hike 😜). Love how you can choose your plate size and what you want for dinner. Food is of a great standard for the price paid and the coffee and beer as well is of great standard. Keep it up guys and I will be back foresure next time I visit! P.S. there bounty race slice for desert was to die for

So yummy and healthy. You choose your plate size and then get to fill it up with whatever you want. Everything was generally healthy and priced well. They also had heaps up vegan and vegan options! They even have some good looking sweet treats 😊
