Chileno Bay Public Beach is a popular destination for both locals and tourists in Cabo San Lucas. The beach offers golden sandy shores, clear blue waters, and calm waves, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as showers, restrooms, and vendors offering umbrellas and snacks. While the beach can get busy during midday, it remains a family-friendly spot with opportunities for relaxation and water activities.
Lovely beach. The area was clean. There are lifeguards and public restrooms plus an outside shower area. There is also a place to rent chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, fins, and even a transparent kayak. First come, first serve when its busy. Highly recommend! Be sure to pack everything you need as there are no places to buy food here.
H K — Google review
Chileno Bay is an incredible beach and easily our favorite during our trip to Cabo! Parking was free, and the walk from the lot to the beach was quick and easy. The beach itself is beautiful, with soft sand and plenty of space to relax. Lifeguards are on duty, which adds peace of mind, and the sunrise here is absolutely stunning. While it wasn’t too crowded most days, Sundays were definitely busier. One of the highlights was the snorkeling there’s a rocky area where fish love to gather, making for an amazing underwater experience. I’d recommend bringing your own chairs and umbrella, or you can conveniently rent them right on the beach. Out of the eight days we spent in Cabo, we visited Chileno Bay three times, it’s just that good! Highly recommend!
Chris C — Google review
I found Chileno Bay Beach to be a great beach to spend a day at. Snorkelling is best in and around the rocks to the right of the beach when you walk down the boardwalk. I would recommend water shoes/flippers as you’ll need to take breaks on the rocks and there are a few sea urchin’s as to be expected. Maybe a life jacket as well if you have little ones or if your not the strongest swimmer, as the under tow can work against you. Pack a lunch and drinks as public food options are limited. There are public bathrooms and showers just up the boardwalk. Parking lot can get quite packed. There are beach vendors that rent chairs and umbrellas at about $38CAD (1 chair, 1 umbrella) so if your going for a day you may as well bring those too. I found the sand to be more rocky towards the left of the beach and beyond. It’s a blue flag beach which means it has upkeep standards to meet, I would recommend Chileno Bay Beach!
Jordan K — Google review
Amazing beaches which the water was calm, good for snorkeling or watching the marine ecosystem by the rocks (tide pools), plenty of crabs and tiny fishes plus sea birds.
Robin W — Google review
We came to this beautiful beach around 12 noon, weather was really nice 87 F no clouds, we only brought swimsuits, sun block and good sandals. You can rent for $300 pesos an umbrella and $100 for a chair whatever time you need them. There are guys selling drinks and fruit. Parking is free and you can find restrooms at the entrance of the beach that you can use. Overall a great experience, super clean and very family friendly.
Abbby — Google review
A beautiful sheltered beach a few miles from Cabo. It’s a public beach so parking can be an issue. But it’s worth it. There’s a reasonable changing room, toilets and showers which is a plus. The beach is always busy but we had no problem finding a spot. The rightmost area has a reef for snorkeling but we found schools of fish just offshore in 2-4’ of water. In June, the water temperature was around 85° or so.
Todd P — Google review
What a magnificent beach! I was so pleasantly surprised from the parking lot as I was expecting something more rustic, but it was paved and with plenty of spaces. Then the facilities with bathrooms and showers were clean and in very good shape, so that’s an added bonus. And then of course the best part was the beach: LOVELY! Super calm clear waters for swimming and snorkeling. The fish swim to the shore, you can spot them so easily at your feet, that was super neat. We had gone prepared with drinks and food in a cooler plus chairs and umbrella, but saw that they also rented and there was a also someone in the beach that sold drinks and food. Preferred this beach much more than Sedano beach as there is no one trying to sell you stuff
Lina B — Google review
Beautiful beach with friendly fish right near the shore. Gets crowded near noon. Umbrella rental available. No reception or data here but wifi available.

Bahia Santa Maria is a stunning beach that should be on every traveler's must-visit list. Nestled near the luxurious Four Seasons Resort at Punta Mita, this picturesque spot boasts soft sand that feels just right underfoot—neither too coarse nor sticky. The beach offers excellent snorkeling opportunities without the need for pricey excursions; you can easily bring your own gear or rent it nearby. With ample parking and clean facilities, Bahia Santa Maria provides a perfect day out in the sun.
This beach is absolutely gorgeous! Do not miss this beach! It was my favorite beach in Cabo. The sand is perfect (doesn’t stick and isn’t too course). You can snorkel here and skip the expensive excursion. The boats bring people here … you can come with your rental car and snorkel for free. I think they even had gear to rent. We brought our own. Parking is good. Bathrooms are very clean. There are beach rentals (chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, etc.). No food or drinks so plan accordingly.
C L — Google review
The beach is beautiful but make sure to take snacks, drinks and umbrellas as none of that is Available. It does have restrooms and parking. It was hard to walk barefoot due to the small rocks in the sand so make sure you have water shoes. It’s a lovely place!
AnaMel T — Google review
My favorite beach in San Lucas! Too bad the Montage next door only caters to the wealthy.
Randy M — Google review
This was a really nice beach. Parking was convenient, bathrooms were clean, sand was clean, and the water was lovely. Good place to bring small children. There are a few permanent umbrellas.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful although it has changed over time. It is one of the few beaches in Los Cabos where you can swim more calmly due to the waves. The sand here is very particular but beautiful. (Original) Hermosa aunque a cambiado con el paso del tiempo. Es de las pocas playas en Los Cabos que se puede nadar con más tranquilidad por el oleaje. La arena aquí es muy particular pero linda.

(Translated by Google) It is a beach within a small bay that allows the waves to not be so high so you can be in the water, for which we are not used to that sea if the waves give us a roll. Very lumpy sand so I recommend shoes and the toilets are far from the beach so you have to plan the descent from the parking lot to the beach because you would have to walk a long distance if you forget something or go to the toilet (Original) Es una playa dentro de una Bahía pequeña que permite que el oleaje no sea tan alto así que se puede estar en el agua.para lo que no estamos acostumbrados a ese mar si nos da una revolcada las olas. Arena muy grumosa por lo que recomiendo calzado y está los sanitarios están retirados de la playa así que hay que programar el descenso desde el estacionamiento a la playa porque habría que caminar un buen tramo si algo se olvida o ir al sanitario
Karina P — Google review

Lovers Beach is a secluded and picturesque spot located at Lands End in Los Cabos. Accessible only by boat, this remote beach offers golden sands and dramatic limestone rock formations. To reach it, visitors can arrange a glass-bottom boat ride from Medano Beach, which includes stops at iconic landmarks like the Arch at Lands End and opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving. Once there, nestled between two prominent granite rock formations, visitors can enjoy a private paradise to relax and swim.
Lover’s Beach in Cabo San Lucas is absolutely jaw dropping a true slice of paradise! Just a short boat ride from the Cabo marina, this stunning beach is tucked between dramatic rock formations and offers soft sand and crystal clear, calm waters perfect for relaxing or swimming. What makes it even more special is its unique location right across from the wild and rugged Divorce Beach, where the powerful waves crash with intensity. The contrast is surreal. Lover’s Beach feels like a dream peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable. A must visit when in Cabo!
HolySocom — Google review
A small beach that touches both the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, although reportedly treacherously dangerous on the pacific side due to currents and waves. I saw this from the cruise ship level (90') down to water level (5'). If other excursions hadn't taken so much time it would have been nice to take a boat tour out to the beach.
Graham T — Google review
Amazing and beautiful beach not far from Cabo San Lucas. At the local marina, you should be able to find a.boat for a tour and drop off and pick up here for around 200 pesos per person. As you get dropped off, just advise what time you want to be picked up. No restrooms here or services.
Matthew S — Google review
Very nice, but for the first time in 45 years i almost drowned. The water became very powerful and i needed someone to help me get out of the current.
Kelly L — Google review
Very scenic and fun island. This beach is unique in that on its north side is the Gulf of California, with calm waters and great for swimming; and on the south side, is the Pacific, which despite its name, is anything but calm. I should know, because I climbed onto some of the rocks near the shore on the Pacific side, and while out there, a huge wave came in and knocked me down it, causing me to fall about a storey in height onto the beach below. Luckily I came away with only some minor scratches and moderate bruisings on both my feet, legs and knees, but I definitely wouldn't test my luck again there. Here are a few pictures I took of the beach and some cool rock formations on it.
Jethro C — Google review
The place is stunning! But be ready, to get there is a little adventure. The only way is through a resort: the guard brings you through the resort until a wonderful beach with big waves, then you have to walk along the beach until a rock formation and do a bit of rock climbing to get in the other side where a paradise beach is waiting. Gym shoes are mandatory for the rocks! don’t try with sandals, it’s slippery. Anyway I’m my point of view, the beauty of the place pay the effort to reach it.
Daniela V — Google review
Lovers beach is a nice spot but busy because of the swimming. But Divorce beach is by far more spectacular. Waves crashing on the shore and mountains surrounding the beach. Incredible views. More private.
Mike — Google review
Beautiful beach and definitely the first thing to do in Cabo San Lucas. The water taxi are available and inexpensive. If it is your first time there, take not just a ride to the beach, but also a short tour with your water taxi around the Arco. The water is warm and very clean. If you do scuba, that would be one of the best things to do.

Pelican Rock is a popular snorkeling spot located near the iconic Arch of Cabo San Lucas. It is known for its rich marine life and decent visibility throughout much of the year. The area can get busy due to boat traffic, but it remains one of the best snorkeling locations in Los Cabos. Lovers Beach, adjacent to Pelican Rock, offers a calmer experience for those seeking relaxation.
A memorable first boat experience for our three-year-old to Pelican Rock! A perfect length short excursion for young kids to leave from the shore to see the arches.
Pamela C — Google review
The “glass bottom” boats that you can take to Pelican Rock leave something to be desired but the experience you get you will remember. Our time at Pelican rock included a stop over at Lovers and Divorce beach as well!
Eric A — Google review
I'm not 100% sure what the significance of Pelican rock is, although there seemed to be a lot of boats hovering around it.
Graham T — Google review
Pelican Rock and the surrounding water is simply fantastic, especially if you want to snorkel or dive. The rocks provide a bit of an enclosure for you to be able to swim easily. The species of fish you will find are plentiful and you will not miss out seeing hundreds of fish literally. Easy water taxi ride over and well worth it. By far one of the best areas to swim in the ocean, especially if you aren’t looking for the typical Beach with vendors. Do NOT miss Pelican Rock when visiting Cabo San Lucas!
Vincent I — Google review
Trigger warning:. DO NOT DO THE SNORKELING WITH A GUIDE ON PELICAN BEAXH. There is a man named or called “Stephen” who is 27 who was on Pelican Beach August 13 2025. If you are a single woman, this is not a safe place. You should not go alone & you should never go with him. Do not do the guided snorkeling. It’s dangerous. He was very inappropriate in explicit ways I will not write here. I was terrified. Thank God I’m a strong swimmer. I can only imagine he’s so confident because it’s a pattern. Be careful. This is not safe. I swam back to the beach, filled with other men that I did not know were in in some evil thing or I could speak to. I went to the most crowded area on the highest point of the very small ‘beach’ as far away from his as possible. I had the guide who booked my ‘tour’ on WhatsApp and told her to send the boat immediately and I was there on that beach, terrified for 20 minutes waiting for the boat. It’s not safe.
Devin — Google review
Gorgeous beach and awesome snorkeling! Cheap 5 min ride on a water taxi to get there and they come back to pick you up when your ready. Soft sand, crystal blue water and AMAZING views! 10/10!
Kacee W — Google review
You can bargain for the water taxi. We got it to be 8$ per person with boat taking us to the rock and waiting for us to jump off the top couple of times. Then taking us to the beach and picking us up later in the day. Originally they wanted 30$. Water is deep and the jump is super fun! Sometimes waves are high and they won’t let you go to the beach so maybe call in advance!

Family booked a combination Water and 2 Cities Tour during our vacation to Los Cabos at the beginning of November 2025. Our guide Mario was awesome ! We were picked up by shuttle at our Hoten near San Jose del Cabos, brought to the main office at the Marina in Los Cabos, then organized into groups under Mario and Lino. First segment was a fun boat run out to the famous Arch and Lands End. Then back to downtown Los Cabos to do the tour. We visited a dowwntown gift shop, then to the beautiful glass factory to see live glass blowing. Then up the coast to San Jose del Cabo. There we did live high quality tequila tasting, walked the street shops, visited an ice cream vendor, then finished with a cantina inspired authentic Mexican lunch of tacos, salad and refreshments. Loved the tour overall and would recommend to others ! Mario was an awesome tour guide !

My husband and I had the opportunity to do the camel experience with this company and had a blast. All of the staff were amazing. Tomas, Dorothy and Ulises! It was really cool to see the camels up close ride them get some education on them and then of course the tequila tasting with the buffet lunch was amazing. I highly recommend recommended

Great tour sunset sail.tk.the arches. Staff was great and the views amazing. Only complaint ( and this may have been unique to our hotel/date). But the pickup time was far too early. We were picked up at 3 and the boat didn't start till 4:30. So we waited around for over an hour I the Cabo Adventures offices - not a great start at all. However once we got on the boat it was a great time.
Lynnmarie S — Google review
The sail and snorkel was the most amazing excursion EVER! The sailing was relaxing. The snorkeling was so cool to have the big beautiful fish swimming all around you so close. Ronnie, the guide on the boat was the absolute BEST! I would highly recommend this excursion. Its our 2nd time and will definitely do it again.

Cabo Adventures – Luxury Sail & Snorkel The Luxury Sail and Snorkel was an amazing experience! The entire staff was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel welcome. The boat was spotless, the drinks and snacks were great, and the snorkeling spot had clear water with lots of colorful fish. Everything ran smoothly and felt very well organized. Highly recommend Cabo Adventures — I’d definitely sail with them again!

Cabo Adventures made our trip unforgettable. From jet skiing and snorkeling to electric biking and chilling at Balandra Beach, everything was top-notch - pure fun from start to finish. The crew was incredible: super friendly, welcoming, and down to have a blast. The food and drink? Straight-up delicious. Huge shoutout to Captain Shaggy, Maximilian, Luis, Ferdinand, and the Balandra team for making it all legendary. Bonus points for the vibe - cruising to Daft Punk and Gorillaz sealed the deal. If you’re heading to Cabo, Cabo Adventures is a must. We’ll be back no question.

El Arco, or the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, is a stunning natural rock formation that rises majestically from the ocean, creating an iconic landmark at the meeting point of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. This geological wonder is part of a larger area known as Lands End (El Finisterra), where visitors can marvel at unique rock formations and often spot playful sea lions basking in the sun on nearby rocks.
We had the best time exploring this place. This was certainly a highlight of our trip here. We did the private boat trip, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about this area and surrounding area as well. The boat was equipped with life vests and the boat seemed new and clean. Would and recommend going for this experience. You’ll enjoy your time here!

For me personally, you see this place on TV and in the movies and you say …wow that’s beautiful but I’ll probably never see it in person. Well we did it! I got to take my wife here on Mother’s Day. We went out on a catamaran called Cabo Blue ( Which I highly recommend if you like upbeat vibes ) on a somewhat rough afternoon. The boat captain explained how he was going to route our trip a little differently to avoid the choppiness and guaranteed everyone would get nice views of these majestic arches. We spent about an hour circling which is way more than enough and got to see them at different light levels. I would definitely take another trip out there if ever in Cabo again.

Simply amazing, especially at sunset! Fish jumping everywhere. Pick your tour carefully through. Booze cruise party? Quiet dinner cruise? Lots of options here.

I went back in July,it didn’t disappoint! It looked so good seeing the rock formation surrounded by the Sea Of Cortez. Every angle I saw it at it looked so cool! All the other rocks nearby also looked good, but the arch was the best.

Visiting the Arch (El Arco) in Cabo San Lucas was absolutely breathtaking. The rock formation itself is stunning, rising majestically where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. The water is incredibly clear and vibrant, with beautiful shades of turquoise and deep blue. Along the way, we saw amazing marine life sea lions lounging on the rocks and tropical fish swimming beneath the surface. It’s truly a picture-perfect, must see spot that captures the raw beauty of Cabo. Stunningly gorgeous and unforgettable!

Pink granite pebbles for sand, recommend water shoes; recommend long sleeve rash guard top; beware of jellyfish, bring snorkeling gear, snacks, water; you can rent umbrella $20 usd. Great spoke to relax. Beautiful.

Found this great beach purely by accident. We had rented a car and were exploring the coastline. They have good parking, bathrooms and fresh water showers, and a covered walkway down to the water. Everything was very clean. The cove was protected from the wind and waves. A very swimable beach! The two restaurants are private so you have to leave to get food. Such a gorgeous place!
Sheila D — Google review
Very pleasant beach, small yet the water was relatively calm for snorkeling. There’s facilities for showering and parking. The sand is rough with smaller pebbles so better not barefoot in.
Robin W — Google review
One of the best beaches in the area. Free public access to this nice cove. Life guard on duty. Showers and restrooms on site. The water is clear and the sands are smooth, snorkeling is great and you can see those colored fish, beware of possible jelly fish stings.
Firas S — Google review
Very nice beach. You can rent umbrellas and chairs there. For kids its difficult but on the richt side is little place with calmer ocean.
Alex H — Google review
It’s beautiful and even though the water is kinda rough, but you can still swim in them if you can swim, But watch out if you have kids! I would say its not very kids friendly. Also makes sure you have cash so you can rent the umbrella, it's about $20 usd for however long you want.
Kate L — Google review
Beautiful beach but I would not recommend for little ones since the waves are larger. My 13 and 15 year old loved it but they are strong swimmers. Great beach for boogie boards.
Natalie V — Google review
Great place with little people present at least first thing in the morning. The water was very calm compared to other beaches so it was perfect for our kids. Also, the water is very clear and blue. There are no food vendors nor smaller restaurants, only a few more upscale options. Besides this, the path to the beach does have a walkway which made it convenient even for our little kids.

Our resort recommended Cabo Expeditions Beach Day after hearing that we wanted a more low-key snorkeling trip and vibe. Our shuttle was clean, easy and well air conditioned. We arrived and the beach and Romel (sp?) had all the gear needed to paddle board and snorkel as well as the umbrellas, blankets and a cooler ready for us. It was an absolutely perfect day. We had a range of comfort levels and ability in our small group, and he made sure we all had incredible experiences snorkeling. He could identify and locate all kinds of fish and coral. The hang time at the beach, lunch, etc was all so fun and felt very personal and safe. We didn’t want to commit to a day-long boat trip, and wanted some freedom to really enjoy the ocean. This adventure did just that and the service was really exceptional. If I could give it more stars I would. (P.S. seriously when the boats anchored to explore and I saw the experience those folks were having vs our experience I was SO glad we picked the beach day! To each their own - but this was the vibe and experience we were looking for.)

3 of us, including my 71 year old mother, went on March 25 and the guys were amazing! They were really funny and the whole experience was amazing! Price was reasonable and they took some great pictures for us! Made my mom's bucket list item amazing!

We booked a zodiac whale watching tour through Cabo Expeditions and had an experience of a lifetime! We saw whales from the moment we hit the open water. I have been on other whale watching tours and none compared to the experience we had on this one. The zodiac boats put you practically in the ocean giving you an up close view of the whales and dolphins. At one point, we could see the whales swimming under our boat! The guide and driver were great and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It was obvious that they were empowered to ensure their guests had a great time… so much so, they extended our trip (at no extra cost) by 30 minutes so we could continue spending time with the whales! I highly recommend booking your tour with Cabo Expeditions as you won’t be disappointed!

What an awesome experience! We booked the whale watching tour since we would be there at the right time of year during our Mexican Riviera cruise. Let me start with how customer-service oriented Cabo Expeditions is. When I originally tried to book this tour, the web page off of a travel website stated that they were not accepting bookings from passengers arriving on a cruise ship. I called Cabo Expeditions directly, and they quickly clarified that the travel website was out of date and that the cruise ship exclusion was a COVD policy that was no longer valid. They accepted my booking, and even changed the date for me when I found out that I had confused the date that my cruise would be in port. The day in Cabo San Lucas was the best weather day of our entire 5 day cruise, so it was a great day to be out on the water. Captain Julio and our guide Sam were totally on their 'A' game this day. After some odd churn where we had to meet the tour van near the pier, to be taken to their office (also at the pier, but at the opposite end) to then be taken back to the same area of the pier to load into the boat we got underway. Captain Julio quickly zoned in on a group of boats that were apparently following some whales. We jumped into the group and started following along at a distance. Sam was very informative about what we were watching (males following a female) and why the whales behaved the way they do. That is when the real show started. Captain Julio spotted a couple of other whales spouting off in the distance so we motored towards them. What followed was a tremendous show of whales breaching, fin-slapping, blowing, diving, etc. Sam kept not only explaining what was going on, but working with Captain Julio to position the boat for great views. The absolute highlight was when the pod of 3 whales surfaced less than 10 feet from the 20' Zodiac we were on, and proceeded to swim right under the boat! We stayed out for about 3 hours, and spent the majority of that time watching whales do what whales do. On our way back to the dock Captain Julo took us by The Arch for pictures, then back to the dock on time which gave us additional time before we had to board our cruise ship for departure. By Captain Julio's own account, we had a very lucky day watching the whales. His morning tour only saw one, which would only surface occasionally. To see four whales breaching and fin slapping was an exceptional day, and our group was lucky enough to experience it. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has just one day in Cabo San Lucas.

My sister, brother-in-law and I booked a whale watching tour on a 15 person zodiac. We had Captain Julio for a guide! The first whales we saw were a momma and a baby who was fully breaching the water! Very exciting! Then there was a lull in the whale action but Captain Julio was on it! He ended up finding us a lot of whales to see, one of which surprised us all by breaching very close to the boat! It was a fun filled couple of hours with lots and lots of whales to see! I would definitely do it again!

We were in the snorkeling group and the guide was very informative and helpful. Wave was quite big that day and he managed to slow down if necessary to make the journey less rough. Spent a few hours with him and I can tell he is very experienced in the area. Comparing to joining the 'big group' party boat, I would prefer being a small one like this one. We had seven people on board including the guide and it was good enough. I would recommend everyone go out to the sea with Cabo Expeditions.

tl;dr: In spite of excellent whale activity the tour is not value for money, choose Cabo Whale Watching instead for the same price, better info, and excellent photographs included. Have to say I was supremely disappointed with my zodiac tour. I feel like it wasn't value for money, and an $85 expedition was the same experience as a $30 local boat. I know that experiences can vary from the day to day, and don't get me wrong the whale activity on the tour was very good. It is only the quality of the tour that I was disappointed with. I had hoped that by paying a premium for a Zodiac I would get a much more personalised and intimate experience however we left later than the specified time (9am) - which given most boast head out around 8-8:30, was already late. It felt like the zodiac left at a later time so they could see where all the other boats were gathering, next thing you know we were among 9 boats all following a small pod of 3 whales at a close distance to the coast for a better part of an hour and a half. It seemed unethical to swarm the Whales, and on a tour I had been on the week previous with Cabo Whale Watching, as soon as more than 3 boats were around a Whale they left and found a different one, as not to cause any distress, so i hated that the welfare of the whale wasn't given as much consideration with Cabo Expeditions, and it even seemed lazy to stay swarming the whale instead of driving the boat out further to sea to find a different whale. The trip was also cut short, we started heading back to the marina at around 10.40, and by 10.50 we'd docked and they were preparing for their 11am tour. For me the selling point of the zodiac was a smaller group that could quickly locate and watch whales at a safe distance away from all the other boats, but what i got with Cabo Expeditions was exactly what i could have gotten for $50 less on a local boat. There were also 'professional' photos for purchase at the end of the tour, which really weren't up to scratch, and for an additional $50 were absolutely not worth it. For the same price you can get a tour with Cabo Whale Watching, which gives a much more personal experience away from the other boats, a guided tour by a marine biologist who educates your on all things Whale, and included some exceptional photos of the whales.

Wow! Cabo Expeditions knocked it OUT OF THE PARK!!!! First of all. Price was amazing! Use these guys first and always! We were a little late getting off the cruise ship due to our issues. They were so accommodating! Great communication with pics through text. Amazing! First part was parasailing and the guys were super knowledgeable, fun and experienced. Everyone had a blast and we had a big family (8 of us)! Even our 6 year old had experiences he'll never forget. Then on to the snorkeling. Our guide was SUPER! He gave us space, but also led to amazing experiences with sea lions and we held a puffer fish. They also had a snack for us all. Again, Can't say enough good about this company and the service they provided. We will always use them and recommend them!

Cabo Sailing is a top choice for stylish excursions in Cabo San Lucas, offering a variety of boats including 38' and 42' Hunter sailboats. They specialize in custom snorkeling trips, sunset celebrations, and explorations of Land's End. With upscale service and amenities such as air-conditioned cabins and first-class food and beverage service, they also provide optional round-trip transportation from resorts.
We did a sunset, whale watching, and arch tour with Cabo sailing, and the captain and crew on Emma were great. Just some background, we walked to the office after reading reviews before booking. Yes they have an office, and are very professional and organized! We wanted to do a dinner, but the chef was not available, but they communicated this quickly, and refunded the dinner quickly with no issues! The dinner included (Mexican) was very good and better suited to the boat! The cost of the 3 hour private charter, was comparable with the group tours we would have needed to do, and the personal services and knowledgeable crew push this way over! They met us at the dock on time and we had a great time!

We sailed 3 hrs out to the sunset and watched the whales. We had such an amazing time! Food and drinks were served on board. We would definitely recommend booking a sail with these guys when you visit Los Cabos San Lucas.

We had a fantastic private 3-hour charter on the 42’ sail boat with Mario and Ivan, and I can’t recommend it enough! Mario, our captain, was experienced and made us feel completely safe while sharing his extensive knowledge of the sea. Ivan went above and beyond in taking care of us. He not only made the best sandwich we’ve ever had but also made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Both Mario and Ivan were incredibly friendly, professional, and passionate about what they do. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience special. If you're looking for an unforgettable day on the water, Cabo Sailing is the way to go!

An absolutely pleasurable experience. Captain Mario and Angel, his crew, took us on an unforgettable sunset cruise past land’s end and we chased the sunset and whales to 3 hours. Highly recommend Cabo Sailing and these two individuals. Thoughtful touches included an open bar, chips, guacamole and salsa then charcuterie and sushi at sunset. At can’t miss highlight when in Cabo!

We had the BEST time with Manuel and Misael. They were so accommodating and it was amazing to have a more intimate experience with just our group of 8 that was traveling together instead of a set itinerary with other people. They took us out to the Arch, then to a great swimming spot, had the perfect assortment of snacks and drinks, and took us back by the arch right as the sun was setting. The guys were beyond friendly and answered all our questions. It was the best way to cap off our trip to Cabo. You will not regret booking this experience!
Stephanie W — Google review
The sailing was so amazing and the weather was so wonderful. The crew was very experienced and knowledgeable. Mario, Angel, and Raul all did a wonderful job making us feel like we were on top of the world. The time at each stop was perfect and the crew allowed us to take pictures by each special place to see. The amount of customers allowed on the sailboat was perfect-not too crowded but enough to have a great time. The cost of the excursion was excellent and right in line with the experience. The trip suited our needs perfectly and was the right amount of time. I would not change a thing about this trip- the amount of time was perfect, the drinks were perfect, the chips/salsa/guacamole and charcuterie were all amazing. This is a great trip for adults.

Pez Gato Amazing Adventures offers a variety of cruising tours on their fleet of catamarans, including sunset 'wine and jazz' excursions, fiesta dinner outings with Mexican buffet and open bar, snorkeling trips to Santa Maria Bay, seasonal whale watching expeditions, and lively party cruises.
September 2024 : The PezGato crew was amazing. Alejandro the captain got us there and back safely. Ivan was a great host he kept the party going, some people were slow to warm , but his energy got everyone up and dancing. Saul was an excellent bartender and had great energy also. Jesus took great pictures of our group. Everyone was friendly, and it was a great way to celebrate my birthday! The views were amazing, I would definitely do this again with this company, hopefully with a crew just as great.

We had such an amazing time! We booked a snorkeling trip and was a bit worried when we saw how many people were gathering for the trip. Any doubts were quashed as we approached the Tropicat, a beautiful, clean and spacious catamaran. The staff was friendly, the drinks were great and the provided equipment was in great condition. We had an absolute blast and before we knew it 4 hours had gone by and we were back at the marina. Highly recommended!

We took the sunset Jazz and Wine sailboat out to show our mom a pleasant time, and we all had a blast! The crew was very personable and kept it lively, the music was chill vibes and the snacks and beverages were scrumptious. Also the boat was super well maintained and spotless. The view of the ocean was a bonus, and the highlight of the evening was watching the crew catch a live skipjack tuna!

What an incredible snorkeling trip! The entire crew was excellent, providing truly great customer service throughout the day. The food served was good, a welcome treat after being in the water. A special shout-out to Brandon and all the crew members on the snorkeling tour. They really did a fantastic job making this a memorable experience.

This was probably the most amazing time on our trip. The crew was top notch, the food and drinks were excellent and the views amazing. The crew brought a lot of energy to keep the fun going from the time we left the dock until we returned. We had 7 people in our group and I think all 7 list this tour as the highlight of their trip. We actually had other vendors at the Marina, who were trying to sell similar tours, tell me after I said we already booked a sunset cruise that Pez Gato was one of the best in Cabo and I can’t imagine finding a better one. I don’t think you can come to Cabo without doing this tour and I would highly recommend Pez Gato!
Jason S — Google review
Great experience! We took the whale watching tour with Pez Gato. It's impossible to know what the whales will do, but we got a good show from a few active ones. The staff was wonderful and the drinks were flowing so we really have nothing at all to complain about! Highly enjoyed the tour and just being out on the boat, which had about 40 passengers. We didn't take transportation back to the resort, but walked around the town and Marina for a while, had some lunch, and enjoyed the scenery. Very excellent and professional tour service.
Whitney B — Google review
Nice boat. Took the 50-80 size catamaran. Kinda big for our liking but a company sponsored trip mean we knew the guests. Sights were great. Snorkeling was a bit murky but there were a good bit of waves at our snorkeling destination
Kirk P — Google review
I picked this sunset jazz cruise for my family of 10, ranging from ages 17 to 80, and with very diverse music tastes. We wanted to avoid a party atmosphere and be on a stable boat so that some of our more seasick-prone family member would be less likely to get sick. A large trimaran seemed like the best bet for that! It was perfect, and the highlight of our vacation! We cruised out to the Pacific side, further than most of the other tour boats, and had sails up for quite awhile. The crew was experienced and absolutely delightful. The drinks and tapas were on the classy side. The views were stunning. The other guests were well behaved. Everything was perfect!

Embark on the best adventures in Baja with Karen, an amazing guide who ensures a memorable experience. Explore Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park and witness a diverse array of marine life, from sea turtles to sea lions. With Karen's expertise, snorkeling becomes an unforgettable journey as she takes care of every detail and shares her knowledge of the area's natural history. Encounter friendly whales and their playful offspring while respecting their habitat.
Karen and the team are the best! We did three separate trips with them over our spring break and each one was better than the previous. Karen really takes care of her guests, is a wealth of knowledge, and super fun. We had an unforgettable time snorkeling with the sea lions, rays and beautiful reefs. The secluded beaches were an amazing stop to the best ceviche lunches. We saw the most amazing dolphins, countless rays jumping and even a couple gray whales. And Karen even brought a birthday cake and candles for our son‘s birthday. We can’t wait to come back and see all the things that we missed this time (and maybe even revisit those playful sea lions and school or 10,000 rays)!

We had such a great experience diving with Karen! The 2-dive trip was very professional from start to finish, and we felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. Underwater we saw amazing things, and it was truly unforgettable. What really stood out was Keren herself – she put her heart into everything she did. Her service was not only professional but also very personal and caring. My husband joined us only for snorkeling, and Karen made sure to take great care of him as well, which meant a lot to us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend diving with Karen to anyone looking for both professionalism and a warm, personal touch.

Karen was very communicative leading up to the trip, which we appreciated as we were bringing along our small toddler. They provided an appropriately sized life jacket for said toddler, as well as snacks and water. The trip was amazing - we saw several whales, and learned quite a lot too! We would definitely recommend Baja Tours for anyone with kids (or without!), and would happily join again if we visit again.

A beautiful experience. Karen was so understanding and patient with us. I am 50 years old (first-time snorkeling and prone to panic attacks) and she literally held my hand until I felt comfortable. It was magical and I cannot wait to snorkel again! If I can do it, anyone can do it! We were so grateful for the private experience and would never have received such attention had we been in larger group. Do not look any further as this is the only snorkeling tour you need in Cabo.
Areti K — Google review
The best experience with Karen, she went out of her way to make this happen for us, we were already booked onto a liveaboard to go to Socorro, so we had limited contact and a small window to arrange a trip to La Ventana as I really wanted to see the Mobular migration. She was fantastic and wasn't even in the country when we spook over the phone, she was the only company out of about 5 that was sure she could make it work for us, even suggesting a smaller boat. The whole experience surpassed my expectations, from transportation over 2 hours away with Karen herself, getting to know her and her fantastic travels, she has a wealth of knowledge and having lived in Cabo for the past 10 years, she knew her stuff and the marine life. We ended up being a group of 3 customers and Karen all fellow brits, which was lovely. Alex the Captain spoke amazing English, and was prepared to take us where the action was, starting the day with what we all came to see the Mobulars, with carefully watching groups at the surface we found a larger group to get into the water with, Karen explained everything and how to behave with them so we had the best chances to view them up close to the surface. It was incredible, so graceful, then we were on the move again, with lots of radio communication with other boats, to see what other encounters we may find, dolphins were spotted so we made our way, then just as we were having a lovely lunch we couldn't believe what we heard, Orcas had been spotted!! Go Go Go, so we headed out to the north of the Island, where there was a large pod of dolpins and we quickly realised there was also Orcas, a pod of five, one with a calf. Albeit a little apprehensive at first we watched their behaviour, and Karen made sure they were relaxed, before we got our chance to get ourselves ready to be dropped in, first go and Alex dropped us right in front of them swimming slowly towards us, two were very inquistive and came very close to me, just mind blowing, it with stay with me forever. We also saw a fin whale and jumping dolpins. When my camera came up with a card error, Karen had a spare Gopro to hand to lend me so I could still capture some memories too. She even stopped off at a gorgeous German Patisserie so we could get coffee and pastries on the way home. Thank you so much Karen and Alex for the perfect day to end our trip to Cabo on. Don't hesitate to book with Adventures in Baja, they really do go above and beyond! I really hope to be back soon to such a special place. Thanks again Lisa and Rich

Lands End, located at the southernmost tip of the 750-mile-long Baja California peninsula in Cabo San Lucas, is a stunning natural attraction. This half-mile headland offers sandy beaches, a natural arch, and rocky outcrops that can be explored by kayak or on nightly sunset cruises. Iconic landmarks like El Arco, Pelican Rock, Neptunes Finger, and Lovers and Divorce Beaches provide remarkable views.

12-26-23 Literally what it says. It's where the land ends. Picturesque peninsula with two beaches (Lover's and Divorce), the famous arch, Scooby-Doo rock, etc. Most people just take a boat around the peninsula and go to the aforementioned beaches. You can hike the peninsula, however. The peninsula is super busy with boats and very crowded. Rough water, too. Expect boats galore. Do love the rock formations, and the appeal is warranted.

El Medano Beach, located just south of downtown Cabo San Lucas, is the main beach in the area and a bustling hub of activity. This crescent-shaped swimming beach is packed with visitors, locals, and vendors offering various water activities like kayaking, jet skiing, and parasailing. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, heading to the south end or nearby Playa Chileno for snorkeling in clear waters can be a great option.
Amazing beach, cold water it is. Make sure to head right if facing ocean cause beach there is more shallow and has no waves. Make sure you take at least U$100 with you cash, that's what you'll pay for 2 sunbeds with umbrella, 1 snorkel gear, 6 fresh oysters and a light lunch. Add another U$60 for a 30 minutes waverunner ride.

Very nice sand and clear water, it is a very pretty beach. There are many many peddlers selling their wares so not a lot of peace to yourself on this beach. We had a hard and impossible time trying to find a decent Margarita for under 20$ dollars.

This is such a nice short walk from my hotel. Leading up to the beach, you will pass through cobblestone pathways, restaurants and shops. Medano Beach is one of the few places where you can swim in the ocean. The sand is such a beautiful golden brown. There are a lot of areas to lay your towel down or rent a lounger / day bed. A lot of food options with restaurants and lively music. You can also take advantage of the water activities like banana boats.
S J — Google review
The best and maybe only beach you can swim in Cabo with safeguards and so many amenities around from relaxing beach clubs like Corazon, Sur or Tamara, to more lively beach clubs like Taboo. Just walk by the beach and choose the beach club that fits your mood. Most beach clubs give you beach bed for a deposit you can use toward food and drinks. The water on calm days is suitable for swimming and the water temperature is great.

Beautiful and Lively Beach with Something for Everyone Medano Beach is a must if you’re in Cabo! It’s a public beach with access points every few blocks, even though it’s surrounded by hotels and resorts. It’s super easy to get to, whether you’re staying nearby or just visiting for the day. There are tons of beach clubs if you’re looking for food, drinks, and music—but be ready, prices are high, as you’d expect in a popular tourist spot. That said, you can also bring your own drinks, umbrella, and chairs and just relax on the sand, which is a huge plus. Yes, there are plenty of vendors walking by trying to sell you things, but honestly, they’re not too pushy and usually take a polite “no thanks” well. Overall, it’s a very nice and family-friendly beach with beautiful water, great people-watching, and a fun vibe. Perfect spot to spend the day!

Neptune is a top dining choice in Cabo San Lucas, offering stunning views of Medano Beach and the Los Cabos arch. The restaurant combines French culinary techniques with local flavors to create an innovative seafood menu. Located at the Villa del Arco Beach Resort, Neptune's menu features fresh catches with French influences, including tuna tartare, broiled oysters, ceviches, lobster soup, mussels, fried octopus, and fresh tuna.
This place was absolutely amazing. Roman the chef made some absolutely delicious plates that rival anything I've had in Los Angeles and I eat at Nobu, Mastros, and other fine dining establishments. You couldn't pick a better location...right on the beach with views of the arch in Cabo. They had an amazing table side display for one of their coffee and the creme brulee was exquisite! Wrapping up a 5 day stay here at Villa de Arco. I've eaten in many of the restaurants and this one that was a little further off the beaten path (but still very much on the property and affiliated to its meal plan) served up the best meal I've experienced yet! The food was exquisite. Even the kids' options (tenders, mac and cheese, and Pasta- all off menu) were upscale taste without sacrificing on the comfort food flavor! Brigido was our waiter for the evening and was exceptionally attentive without being annoyingly so. He was able to speak clearly and convey the importance of how the food was prepared and how multiple cultures take to eating salmon skin differently. Given that many wait staff folks here on resort sometimes struggle with English as a service language, I was surprised to see his fluency and comfort in expressing these ideas!

On our last night staying at the La Estancia, we tried this restaurant. After eating at many of the other resort restaurants, I want expecting much. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised at Neptune. Fantastic location and views, excellent service (little stands for our purses, really), and delicious food! Highly recommend!

Dined here last night with my wife and kids. Food was pretty good. Only wish they knew how to cook the steak well done like they do back in Texas. My steak was so hard. My son got the red snapper which he didn’t like too much. Service was good! Definitely recommend!

The food at Neptune is phenomenal and it has a matching view. Like any resort restaurant in the Los Cabos area, it's awkward to get into when your not a guest in the hotel (guards at the gate trying to verify your name, security wanting to chaperone you over the premises), but this one is certainly worth it! We started with ceviche and mussels in coconut sauce. For entrees we had the sea bass and the creamy rice with sea food. As a dessert the creme brulee. All were exquisite! The staff was very friendly and professional. I certainly recommend paying a visit.

The hostess from our visit should be fired. She was not at all friendly and left us waiting while she chatted with co-workers. Food was good, atmosphere was a bit Long John Silver

The views at this Seafood Restaurant are scenic pleasure. The food has always been very good and tasty on my visit here. The portions are good as well. So if you come here with your other half or close friends. Your sure to enjoy the views, food, drinks and decor. Food price can be on the high end but you're getting what you paid for, good service and good tasting food. As for me, I will come back for sure.

Very happy experience diving 3 days with the team at CP Water Sports. Andrea was amazingly helpful before amd during, Andy and Juan are very good guides. The gear is good, the facilities & boat very good, and healthy snacks + plenty of drinks during. All in all a very good experience, professional & warm & helpful team + incredible Cabo Pulmo = a great time. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Andrea!

Cabo Pulmo Watersports! Leo was our diving instructor and we could not say enough good things about the whole diving experience start to finish with him. From fitting us with wet suits, to actually being in the water, he prepped us with all the teaching that we needed to feel comfortable and confident throughout the day. Jonathan was the boat caption, was very kind and knowledgeable, and it was evident that he is a great guy. They had drinks and fresh fruit on the boat so we didn't go hungry in between diving locations. All the staff at Cabo Pulmo Watersports were friendly and seemed respectful. These guys definitely know their stuff! We can't wait until we get to return and dive with them again!

My partner got me a private whale watching and snorkeling experience here and it was so memorable! It was my first time doing any of this and I felt safe and tended to throughout the whole experience. The guide shared information about everything we saw - marine behavior, mating habits, etc. She didn’t fill up the time with endless talk, either as many people in this profession tend to do. There was plenty of time to just sit and enjoy the elements! I’d love to come back again!

Cabo Pulmo Watersports is a breezy open welcoming spot, walking distance from the ocean. Everything happens with a smile - from registering your dive certificates to meeting your dive guide to getting onto the water. Our dive guide was Leonardo who knows very well Cabo Pulmo both under the water and above. He was personable and very helpful - not just for diving but also for where to eat, how to get here or there, or where to stay. We had two dives/ one day out on the water with Leo and a second day with another one of CPW's dive guides. The visibility was not great when we were there in May but the water was full of life - it was so good we are returning in November when the visibility is supposedly better and the waters full of jacks. At all times on the boat we felt well supported by Leo - his approach to diving is informed, safe and very enjoyable. Leo is also full of wonderful diving stories given his vast experience as a dive instructor and dive guide in many different countries and dive environments, and we had some lovely moments listening to his diving adventures over a cool Cabo Pulmo lunch. Post-diving the washing, hanging and sorting of kit was easy and there was a good post-dive chat around the communal tables with other divers comparing what we had seen that morning in the waters. What is so great about the diving here is that it is all within the protected waters of Cabo Pulmo National Park. The enclosed protected area ensures that the numbers of divers at any one dive site is limited and the sea creatures protected from over-tourism. We loved the diving at Cabo Pulmo so much we are back in November. Thanks to Leo and all the crew and look forward to seeing you again soon.

We had a fantastic experience on our snorkeling trip with Cabo Pulmo Watersports. They came highly recommended by a friend, and we couldn't have been happier with our trip. They set us up with quality gear - wetsuits, snorkel gear - and a wonderful guide Andy, who was very knowledgeable about all of the fish we saw, and even spotted several sea turtles. She started out the trip by asking what we wanted to see so she could plan the stops based on our wish list. Though we stopped at 3-4 places and did some whale watching in between, it never felt rushed and we saw so much incredible marine life - tons of colorful fish, sea lions, turtles, whales. Andy let us spend as much or as little time as we wanted in each spot. We also absolutely love that the community came together in the 90's in support of the marine reserve, and abandoned fishing so they could focus on conservation and tourism instead. This has resulted in one of the most successful marine reserves in the world, with an increase of 450% in fish population. We love supporting regenerative, eco-experiences like these. We will definitely be back - hopefully to learn to dive next time!

DEFINITELY dive with Cabo Pulmo Watersports, best in town for sure! Leo was our instructor for getting our deep dive certification - he was amazing. Super fun and energetic and straight to the point which meant we were able to get into the water sooner. Super good vibes all round - no better way to go diving, we wanted to just hang around with everyone after. The diving is simply terrific too. Thank you Leo!!

La Palapa Cabo Pulmo is known for its relaxed ambiance and exceptional seafood offerings. The food presentations are stunning, and their lobster is highly recommended. For a more casual dining experience, many patrons rave about the fish tacos. Located at Cabo Pulmo National Park in BCS, Mexico, this restaurant has garnered mixed reviews but pleasantly surprised guests with its great service, fast turnaround time, delicious food, generous portion sizes, and fair prices.
The four of us ate lunch here, and everything was great. The servings were large enough to satisfy, and the service was fast and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. It's located right on the beach, and there were several friendly street dogs hanging around the restaurant.

After the massive portion of Pelicanos and the awesome tacos at Tacos and Beer, this one came a bit short. The Aguachille was tasty but left me hanging as did my girlfriend’s tacos. Still nice and friendly service.

Had such a good meal. The food was fantastic and so much more affordable than other places we have eaten on this trip. And the view can’t be beat. They only take cash - but otherwise 10/10.
McKenzie B — Google review
Our favorite spot in Cabo Pulmo for lunch & dinner. Location is perfect for sunset views and directly next to diving centers. So it’s easy to just walk in after an early morning dive. The food is fresh. Avoid ordering anything with rich sauces (like the spicy octopus) otherwise it will attract a large number of flies. Honestly never seen anything like it. Still that didn’t keep us away. We just stuck to simple dishes like grilled fish, tacos, ceviche and guacamole. Looking back it was probably the best fish we had. The restaurant gets relatively full an hour before sunset.
Rania B — Google review
My dish was ok (a little too salty for me), but the drinks, the people and especially the view, were fantastic!

Fast and pleasant service, and the food was very good. The views are spectacular overlooking the beach. And the doggy companions were the cherry on top! We ordered the buttered shrimp, spicy shrimp, and fish and they were all excellent.

The fish was really fresh here. I got the garlic tuna and it was delicious. The ceviche was also amazing as was the nachos. The preparation takes a smidge long but we had nowhere to rush to. The ingredients they use are amazingly fresh. The ocean view is also great. I would recommend this place and for the short time I was in town, I came back again. My favorite non-alcoholic drink was the limonada al minerale. the limes they use are fragrant. also, the employees are friendly and speak English for those of us who struggle with Spanish. Cash only!

Nestled in the charming fishing community of Cabo Pulmo, El Caballero is a delightful dining spot that perfectly captures the essence of coastal cuisine. This open-air palapa offers a refreshing escape from the sun while maintaining an inviting beachy atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Imagine savoring huevos rancheros as a gentle sea breeze dances around you!
The only vegan item we found on the menu was the chips, salsa, and guacamole. It was a perfect snack! The chips are fresh and made to order. It was really good!

Ate here Christmas Eve. It was magic. The cocktails were perfect and the food was perfect. The staff was so nice. The atmosphere was romantic and fun and just lovely. Note, this is higher end dining vs other places in Cabo Pulmo. The cocktails use real fruit, the rice and mashed potatoes are NOT instant or from a box. The seafood was perfectly prepared. You’ll pay a little more but so worth it.

We came here twice for dinner. First time for chicken mole which was not very good. Second time we were running out of options for places open and we asked for the beef nanchos (from the lunch menu) they said we could have them and they were excellent, enough to share between two people and very reasonable $$

The Coral Reef Restaurant offers excellent cuisine with a diverse menu selection. Patrons can enjoy delicious dishes such as wrapped fish, caprese salad, tacos, tostadas, burritos, club sandwiches, nachos, and fish and chips. The desserts are also notable. While the prices may not be low, the quality of the food justifies it. The restaurant's location is set back from the seafront but features a pleasant upstairs patio that provides shade.
The best food along the East Coast and best ambience and service. Amazing fresh fish, great wine and cocktails. High level chef and service. All fresh and organic food. For unforgettable night. Highly recommend

With the exception of delicious and fresh scallop ceviche… If you’re looking for pseudo-gringo food in Mexico eat here. Amidst a menu of burgers, steaks, and pasta was fish. Fresh, yes, but overcooked and seasonless and served with weird tasting frozen vegetables, a rice puck, and oddly, toasted baguettes slices with a compound butter. Very expensive margarita with no (?) tequila. Nice but disaffected waitress. Nothing horrid but will never return.
Karen R — Google review
Very bad service. We felt unwelcome from the moment we stepped in the first day. Unfortunately we had no cash and the ATM in the area was not working and this restaurant was the only one accepting card payment so we were stuck with it. The tall lady serving the tables was very rude in the approach and the attitude. She never smiled even though we were always smiling at her. On the last day I was waiting for a coffee and she told me that the coffee was not ready yet. So I waited outside until I saw one of the scuba diving instructor going in and coming out with a coffee, so I went in as well wishing to collect my coffee and she rudely told me that the coffee was not ready yet, I told her that I saw the scuba diving instructor taking one coffee and she repeated “is not ready yet”. On the last day we refused to deal with them regardless of the fact that we were hungry we drove 1 hour to find another restaurant. If you go in Cabo Plum BRING cash so that you will not have to deal with such a rude environment.
Ga B — Google review
I really don't like giving bad reviews, but this place sadly deserves it... We went there for dinner, the service had no idea whats on the menu, was very uncoordinated with each other, then when we asked for the menu, they told us there was only one option, a fish plate with rice and veggies, so we all took that, and to our disappointment the portions were very small, we barely got any rice or vegetables with our small fish filet... And the fish itself was pretty dry and bland... But the most shocking part was when they brought the bill, since the "menu" did not have any prices when we "chose" our dish, we did not expect to be paying 20$ per plate... It was absolutely insane for what we got... Oh and on a sidenote, the owner (wich is definitely no local and probably from the US) of the Restaurant/ Dive center was super rude, to not only his own (local) employees, but also to us, we were sitting outside the dive center after arriving and booking two rooms for s lot of money, then he came up to us, urged us to go buy a beer at the restaurant because the "Wifi isn't free you know".... Anyways, he was sitting at the restaurant in the evening, obviously drunk, being very loud and from what i could tell, very rude to the people that work for him... Overall, would definitely not go there again! Go support any other restaurant in the area! (We had a great time at Tacos and Beer)
Pfupftheman — Google review
Our food was great...tortilla soup with fish, and vegetarian spicy vegetable noodle dish. The ambience is great, service very good, and considering that town access is dirt road 20 miles in either direction, I think the meals are reasonably oriced.
Susan H — Google review
We saw it was very expensive but decided to treat ourselves. However in a simple establishment in Mexico I don’t expect to receive a small spoonfool of mash and four tiny decorative vegetable with my chicken dish. The seafood pasta had a funky taste as some weird balsamic vinegar for decoration was poured on the side of plates and ran into the dish and it didn’t work. Overpriced and small portions.

Cabo Pulmo Sports Center was such a pleasure to work with 🐋💙🐋 From communication to instruction with Javier our guide to the Capitan who had around 25 years experience in the area and knew right where to locate the aquatic hot spots. 💯🏆💯 We went out Christmas Eve and I can’t imagine a better crew and atmosphere to spend this special day with. I’ve snorkeled all over the world and yet I’ve never seen such an abundance of aquatic marine activity than on each of these 4 snorkeling spots. Javier was so attentive and alert to every different person’s needs. He truly loves his job and this incredible Marine Park. The wetsuits and snorkeling gear were in good shape and the boat was in great condition. Honestly I couldn’t imagine a more wonderful experience than what this crew so gratefully shared. We are dreaming up our next visit. 🌊🤙🏽🌊

What a phenomenal tour! We showed up in Cabo Pulmo with no reservations and asked around for someone to take us out on a snorkel tour. CPSC was able to take us out right then with only two other people! We went first out to the gray whale area (first time ever they are in this area). There were so many gray whales all around us! Saw lots of humpbacks playing also. Then went to the reef area for three quick snorkeling stops and lots of colorful fish. I cannot say enough good things about our Capitan Brujo and our Guide Diana. They were so kind and made the trip really fun! My mom feels more comfortable snorkeling with a floatie or something to hold on to, so Diana had her hold onto the life ring and towed her around. She had the best time. My mom felt very safe and really enjoyed being able to snorkel and see the fish with less stress. So many thanks to Diana! 10/10 trip, crew, and tour company. It was such a special experience for us on our mom/daughter trip. Would definitely use them again.

First off, booking was easy, and they communicated via email to all my questions prior to booking and afterwards. It is about a 2-hour drive from San Jose del Cabo (Costa Azul area), so keep that in mind when traveling or booking. Once we got there Jonathan handled the rentals perfectly and ensured we had stuff that fit. He spoke very good English and was extremely patient with our children. On the boat Jonathan and the Captain (Ponchito) were exceptional. They got us to 4 snorkel destinations and were very attentive to our daughters when they needed the encouragement. One was a bit scared to jump in the water. Overall, the trip was great and the water was awesome. Totally worth it. Definitely worth booking and the 4-hour drive time. 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 7 yo). Just one other note: The previous year we booked a trip in Cabo so we got to compare this to the other one. By far this one was much better and worth it.

What a gem! Wish we could have say and enjoyed our delicious food...but our kids smh. The food is made fresh and is simply exquisite. We tried the shrimp tacos, octopus tacos and the quesidillas. The salsa and the sauces elevated the flavor and experience 10 fold. A must try! The view is breathtaking.

After a long day of snorkeling, we stopped here for a meal before our journey home. We had some tacos de asada, tacos de pescado y camarón, a súper burro al pastor, and a hamburguesa. The micheladas and limonadas were refreshing! We enjoyed the great service and amazing views. Would highly recommend you stop here!

Definitely the best restaurant we visited in Cabo Pulmo! Nice tacos, which can be topped up at the buffet bar, right next to the beach and where a lot of the locals seem to go. Also, very reasonably priced. Could have a better selection of beer since S José is only a couple of hours drive away to stock up, however.

The food is great. Taco varieties are interesting to try. All the toppings are available for your selection. The guacamole and chips are excellent as is the margaritas. We ate here twice and both times service was great. It can be a little slow service when it is busy but that is because it is popular.

Tacos & Beer, being the *only* taco stand in Cabo Pulmo, is an absolute gem and its arrival to CP was a godsend. Good tacos, stiff drinks, and an amazing view of the ocean. Be careful though as the winds can be nuts in the winter.

Sandos Finisterra is a sophisticated all-inclusive beachfront resort in Cabo San Lucas, perched on a cliffside with panoramic views of Baja Mexico. The resort offers outdoor pools, a spa, tennis courts, and the famous Stones Club, named after the 1983 wedding between Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and model Patti Hansen that took place at the resort.
We loved Enrique was truly special one of the best employees you have at the resort take care of him because he has done a lot for everybody to make our stay the best, also Carlos the waiter at the pool was the absolute best kept our drink coming all day. Yuki wow she has the most positive attitude, she kept me busy doing all the activities at the pool and took the time to get to know my husband and I! Such great staff!!

My fiancée and I had an incredible stay at Sandos Cabos. From the moment we arrived, José — the security and bellhop — set the tone with his friendly smile and genuine hospitality. He greeted us like family, made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond every time we saw him throughout our stay. People like him are what make a place truly special. The resort itself was beautiful — clean, relaxing, and full of life. The food was excellent across the board, from breakfast to dinner, and the cocktails were spot on. Every restaurant had its own vibe, but each one delivered great service and flavor. What stood out most was the atmosphere. Everyone on staff treated us with kindness and care, and it felt like they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time there. Between the views, the service, and José’s energy — it made our trip unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend Sandos Cabos to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, great food, and real hospitality.

His attention to details were greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything and making us feel special.

Carmen really made my experience here special and so fun! I went to the tequila testing with her it sure knows how to make the crowd come alive, kind of shy person, and being that way she knows how to pick individuals to make them really feel part of the experience And is also so funny! Surely knows how to draw a crowd in and make everyone have a good time. she is amazing! And I wanna be a part of all the events that she’s a part of! If you haven’t given a raise yet give her one she deserves it♥️

The service was very good especially at the bar. They do expect tips here and there is no ATM so make sure to figure that out!. There is an ATM at the bottom of the hill right across the street from the resort but it's an unusually long walk down a steep hill from the lobby to the bottom of the hill. The pool areas are very cool and very nice just like in the photos however the pool deck is starting to deteriorate and can cut your feet so bring sandals. Definitely a little bit of deferred maintenance compared to the photos on line they probably need to start investing in this property. But nothing that would attract me from staying there yet. Like the elevator button on our floor it didn't work but it's not a big deal because we can take the stairs but just a lot of little things like that that make this on the verge of needing some major repairs. All that being said none of this really bothered us and we had a fantastic time so I would recommend this resort particularly because of the proximity to the marina so there is a lot of stuff within walking distance.

Sandos Finisterra Cabo San Lucas is often marketed as a 5-star resort, but in my experience it aligns more closely with a 3.5-star rating. Dining Experience The food is adequate, but it lacks authenticity. Rather than capturing the rich, bold flavors of Mexico, the menus lean toward Tex-Mex and international options. While there is variety, the taste feels generic rather than reflective of local cuisine. Pools & Common Areas The pools provide a pleasant setting, though the overall experience is diminished by the aging furniture and poolside amenities. Towels, while serviceable, are far from the plush quality one would expect from a luxury property. Rooms & Grounds The rooms are comfortable but unremarkable functional for a stay, yet offering nothing extraordinary. The true highlight in this category is the resort’s grounds, which are beautifully maintained and provide a striking backdrop for the property. Service Where Sandos Finisterra truly excels is in its service. The staff are warm, welcoming, and consistently friendly. Their attentiveness adds value to the overall stay and is one of the resort’s strongest assets. All-Inclusive Beverage Program The most disappointing aspect of the resort is the quality of alcohol included in the all-inclusive package. Drinks are made with low-tier liquors that fall well below the standard of what one would expect at a genuine 5-star resort. Final Verdict Sandos Finisterra Cabo San Lucas is a resort with undeniable strengths particularly its scenic grounds and excellent service but its shortcomings in dining, amenities, and beverage quality prevent it from achieving true luxury status. For travelers seeking a mid-tier, friendly, and scenic experience, it delivers. For those expecting authentic cuisine and premium all-inclusive offerings, it falls short. Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5

This hotel was absolutely amazing. Came here with family and friends for my birthday celebration. Room already has some wine and birthday cake for the occasion. The staff was attentive and responsive. They made it very memorable. Jaime the entertainment manager was awesome. Service was great and the food was also amazing..close to Medano beach as well. Uber right outside. if you want an all inclusive hotel, breathless is the spot.will definitely visit again

The resort is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. The food and drinks were on point. However; navigating the resort could be better. Getting directions to the other restaurants was a task within itself. Some of the employees were not has helpful as I have experienced at other resorts. The location was great. We were right down town easy access to local night life and restaurants.

My partner and i spent three nights in a king suite on the third floor. The room was well stocked with towels and the typical sundries, spacious double sink bathroom with very adequate water pressure in the shower. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were hard and lumpy, we both ended up sleeping with the decorative pillows from the couch. The room also felt cold when we first entered from the sweltering outside but as our bodies adjusted slowly, its would have been nice to be able to turn the AC up a little more. We both often felt too warm at night. The rooms face the marina to the west which kept the sun behind you (so less hot during the day) and made it really fun and easy to sit on the balcony and watch the bustle of boats and people below. The caveat though is this, it's quite loud at most all times of the day and into the evening. Thought it did not bother us at all, I’d make a mental note if you are a light sleeper. The adorable sea lions will be up very early chatting with each other on the docks right below. The hotel itself was clean and essentially met my expectations. You do have to exit to the outside and leave one building to get to the other (where the big pool and most of the restaurants are) which was a little tedious, but they have elevators and staff around to assist. Both pools were very clean and a great temperature. We spent one day at the big pool, but ended up preferring the smaller more tranquil infinity pool. Definitely wasn't a problem for us, just be aware the large pool often has a DJ playing very loud music. All bartenders, wait staff, front desk personnel, security, housekeeping and entertainment team were very courteous and helpful. Id like to acknowledge Javier at the infinity pool for his efficient poolside service and kind demeanor. Jamie from the entertainment team for stopping what he was doing to give us an initial first tour when we were walking around looking (and were) very lost. Elena at Bites for kindly allowing me to practice my spanish with her. Last, Edri with the entertainment team, for making the poolside activities fun and engaging. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the food. While there were a couple decent items, there wasn’t much flavor or depth to the options at Bites or Spoon (the buffet). The Italian restaurant did have a memorable lobster ravioli and bread service was tasty and a nice touch. The Nook does have espresso with multiple options for beverages and the barista was fantastic! If you want a latte (or related), go there before you eat breakfast at one of the other options. The food was mid but the cocktails and drinks were always right on point. Overall it was a fine stay. We have been to many Secrets so will definitely continue to explore and stay with AMR resorts.

They really need more entertainment. It was a little boring, especially in the evenings. You have to venture out for fun. If you are ok with chilling. Low, minimal activity, this is the place. Food was just ok. Bring a good group for more excitement. The staff was very nice and resort was very clean and in a great area.

Im not a "all inclusive guy" but we did it, it was awesome. Good food variety and flavor. Easy to get drinks, nobody's stingy with them either. Good pool, great beach and water. After checking out cabo this place looks like it will be hard to beat overall.

I would not book this resort a second time. The staff were awesome and that’s the only thing that gets 5 stars in my opinion. The rooms are basic, though our view was nice. The food is TERRIBLE on the whole resort. We at least expected some authentic Mexican food being in Mexico but nothing was authentic about any of it. The small bites restaurant near the quiet pool had nothing good. The breakfast near the beach club is bragged about but it was only decent. It wasn’t terrible but I’ve had much better at other all inclusive resorts. We had “tamales” that were small squares that looked like mini pop tarts.. they were disgusting. The only good thing there is the old lady near the beach club making street style tacos from scratch. I could eat those daily. The food and the basic rooms were a let down for the price.

We liked our stay at Breathless. The service was phenomenal. Food was OK, we mainly went out to dinner at nights in town. It is an awkward layout but pretty modern and updated. My big and really only complaint is that the party pool music is too loud. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere up there (view is especially gorgeous) and I was really looking forward to sitting by the pool for a few days on my vacation but my ears started hurting and I woke up at night with ringing from only a couple of hours at the pool. Bring earplugs (probably a good idea in general in Cabo if you're going out). I wish they played the same music but not as loud.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at Breathless Cabo. The location is amazing with beautiful picturesque views of the bay, marina and mountains. We enjoyed our meals at everyone of the dining options. Most importantly, the entire staff was very accommodating and friendly. We'd like to give a big shout out to several of them - Jessi, Franco, Javier, Christopher, Daniel and Rodrigo. YOU WERE AWESOME!!!! It was a pleasure meeting each of you and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Nestled on the beachfront, Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa is an upscale all-suite resort with a variety of dining options and bars, as well as a luxurious spa and infinity pools. The resort features diverse cuisines including steakhouse and seafood, with special menus offered throughout the week. Brigantine Restaurant offers a romantic setting with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
We love Playa Grande. We have been going here for 12+ years and have no complaints. A huge selling point, especially having younger kids, is the activity staff. They are truly amazing! The way they keep adults and kids involved and entertained the WHOLE day is amazing! They are also all so kind. - The property is beautiful and well maintained. - The location and walking distance to everything downtown can’t be beat. - The food is amazing! - The service is top notch. Everyone makes you feel at home. - The rooms are very spacious. - Huge pools and hot tubs that never feel crowded. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you stay here!

We’ve had a timeshare at Playa Grande for about 20 years, and it’s something we look forward to every year. We started coming before we had kids, and now our children have been here every year since they were born—it’s become a family tradition we all cherish. Despite the age of the resort, you’d never know it. The property is always clean, well-maintained, and beautifully cared for. There are two main restaurants plus a dedicated buffet/party area, and the food is consistently good. The fiesta nights are always a blast! The staff is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to interact with guests. There are multiple pools and hot tubs, including an adult-only area, and a great daytime playlist that sets the perfect vacation vibe. It’s very family-friendly with lots of activities throughout the day, and the view of the Pacific Ocean is simply stunning. Walking distance to the marina, water taxied to the beach, snorkeling and the arch A word of caution—do not go into the ocean here. The shore break and current are extremely dangerous.

This was our second year here, we loved it so much last September, we came back for 2025. Service is absolutely amazing here along with the great fresh food! Mirium, Hector, Alberto, and Ulysess will take great care of you while at the pool bar and resting by the ocean! Jose and Javier will take care of you at the onsite restaurants for an amazing breakfast or dinner. Finally, Aimee, Humberto, Jair, and the event staff will keep you entertained and engaged, especially with water aerobics daily!

We had a fun time at Playa Grande. I was worried someone would try to do a timeshare pitch with us, but nobody mentioned anything. There are sales people available if interested, but we were not in any way encouraged to talk to them. There’s a separate concierge that can assist with excursions etc. The resort is in a hill, so you have to walk up and down to get to town. We had a person in a wheelchair with us, so that caused an issue. We had to call a cab just to get to the marina, which is literally 5 min walk. The hotel did not provide a golf cart or anything like that. Cabs DO come to the front though and there’s a flat rate to go to town and back. Very easy and convenient. Would 100% prefer that to Uber, which will drop/pick up at the gate only and you still have to walk to the front. The grounds are pretty and well maintained. The main lobby is again up a tall staircase from the grounds. There is a steep driveway for the golf carts, but no elevator for wheelchairs. Not ideal. Couple times we asked for a lift in a cart for the disabled person and they acted put off like they’ve never had a request like that before. The restaurant on site (the one in the middle) is ok. A bit pricey for what you get, but it’s convenient. One night during our stay they were only doing a buffet which was pretty expensive. No table service. Didn’t try the steakhouse. There is a swim up bar. Pools were very nice and there was always loungers available. There were some pool-side, and some facing the beach/ocean. The attendants were very friendly and helpful. They had happy hours throughout the day. The beach is very nice but it being on the Pacific side is not safe to swim. The waves are spectacular to watch though! There are some really cool rock formations at the southernmost end of the beach. Divorce Beach is on the other side of the rocks, but of course you can’t reach it. Room and bathroom was very nice. There was construction going in the building two down from ours which caused dust blowing and noise most of the day. That was definitely a bummer. The resort was not very busy, which was nice, but that might have been why. Overall, we had a good stay and would probably come back.

Such a great experience! The absolute best staff at this resort. The activity leaders and servers around the pool make everything so much fun. Our kids really enjoyed all the daily activities, especially tequila volleyball in the pool (kid friendly). Love the location! Within walking distance of the marina, downtown area, and many nearby restaurants
Sarita L — Google review
We absolutely loved our stay here at the Playa Grande Resort. The staff were all so amazing and friendly and the resort is absolutely beautiful. We had a lot of great times in the pool and beach and the restaurants were all so delicious. The poolside service was great and the food they had to offer at the pool was excellent. The location is amazing too, walking distance to the downtown area of San Lucas. I definitely would come back here again.
Wilson L — Google review
Very alright - you could get a better bang for your buck elsewhere. The food is meh and terribly overpriced. We got an “upgrade” at check-in that put us in an old room in a very far building (5-7 min walk to the central areas). Our room developed a smell if it hadn’t been cleaned for 24 hours and some of our cash went missing.
Sonya K — Google review
They sold us a package that was supposed to include a breakfast buffet. When we got there, there was no buffet. The restaurant aka “The Sports Bar” had a menu that we were able to order from instead. However, they limited us to certain items. We were not permitted to order the steak and eggs. We were also not permitted to order extra food. The only drinks included were coffee or juice. They charged us for water. Our group spoke to Angel at the front desk on several occasions who stated he had spoken to a manager and their resolution was to tell the wait staff at the restaurant to serve us what we liked. That never happened and no one would take responsibility. So in closing, the resort is nice but DO NOT buy any extras such as the bogus buffet from these people. You will be frustrated. The waiter who I believe was Javier, was not very pleasant. I think he doesn’t like his job there.

Mayan Monkey is a relaxed hostel in Cabo San Lucas, offering an outdoor pool, poolside bar, and marina views. The adults-only accommodation provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a terrace. It features a restaurant, bar, shared kitchen, and 24-hour front desk. While the rooms and bathrooms are basic but clean, the atmosphere is great for meeting new people and enjoying the party vibe. The location is ideal for those looking to explore the area near the water.
I had such a perfect stay here, I got a private 2 queen bed room. The price point was great and the location couldn’t have been better, everything was walkable. We walked to the beach, restaurants, stores, and coffee shops with ease, and being right in the marina made it even more special. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable, easily exceeding my expectations. You also need a key card to get access to the room area, so it felt very safe. The hotel had a nice pool, daily happy hour drinks, and plenty of social events, which made it easy to meet people. I appreciated that it was both lively and relaxing. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, and every staff member I interacted with was kind and welcoming. Overall, an incredible experience with no complaints, I’d absolutely recommend it.

The location has a youthful vibe, clean surroundings, and good music and drinks. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room tidy. However, I wish the food had been better. As a foodie, I felt that the food did not hit the spot, so I am giving it four stars. It's a good thing that there are a lot of restaurants nearby, and you have a variety of options to choose from. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Just amazing Vibes at this place. So many friendly faces between the staff and the people you'll meet while staying here. Great poolside music and surprisingly good food. Staying here youre going to be in the action that surrounds the Marina in Cabo. It's high energy from late in the afternoon into the evening. But it's also really chill during the mornings. Would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I stayed at the Mayan monkey in Tulum and cabo San Lucas! And the differences between the two are crazy!!! If you’re deciding between the two, CHOOSE TULUM!! The rooms in Tulum were so much more luxurious!! However, Cabo Mayan monkey does still have incredible staff and security!! It’s located right on a looped bay surrounded by boats and like a 10 minute walk to the downtown club scene! You could wake up, grab a 2 for 1 mimosa from the bar at the Mayan monkey and walk 5 minutes and grab a a water taxi to go snorkeling all within 30 minutes if you wanted!! (Which we did) Francisco saved my life and was the security guard patrolling nightly!!! Loved having him there and the energy he brought!!! The energy was a little off hospitality wise compared to Tulum! And the rooms were not as nice! But something to experience!!!

I was there with friends. At first, it was great, but then a drunken employee threatened to kill me and another girl. No one from management came to talk to me or her until we approached them in person, and no concrete solution was offered. Other than that, the facilities and rooms are passable.

We had the most incredible stay at Mayan Monkey in Cabo! Everyone in the staff is so helpful, so welcoming & accommodating. When I first arrived Boli was an incredible person to elaborate on all the beautiful scenic things to do around the area. His knowledge of the area, his kindness, & friendliness made for a great homecoming because after a long day of travel, drive from the airport, & after finally getting there, he made us feel right at home! It was a special feeling he brought The area is a great spot, tons of shopping and bars, but after doing walks around, Mayan Monkeys bar still was our favorite. The food was incredible there as well! Ate there everyday & wasn’t mad about it, was very satisfied and pleased with how delicious the food was & how well the kitchen cooks! Hector was our server most the days & his charm and great attitude made for an incredible experience being by the pool on the terrace all day long. Marlon, Mitzi, Dani, & Rodo throughout our time there were incredibly helpful, if we needed help with our key cards, questions about tours, help with transportation, or even just stopping in to say hello and share some laughs amongst each other. They’re all so kind, very professional & each day I was there I looked forward to seeing them all including Boli! The vibe there was an incredible start and end with our group of 25 people, the property is safe, only people staying at Mayan monkey are allowed in, the pool area has all the aesthetics of feeling like you’re in a tropical mexico vacation. I was very pleased to have constant tunes the whole week , & they would even have a DJ periodically throughout the week! Made the atmosphere so fun, & easy to click with everyone apart of the Mayan Monkey family whether they were working, or there on vacation. Great place to meet people, socialize , dance, play pool, & enjoy delicious cocktails! I recommend this place for everyone! Can be whatever vibe you’re looking for, coming alone, as a couple, or big groups! The atmosphere they curate is a fun, safe, & entertaining place to be with the best staff. Looking forward to our next time back in Cabo & staying here indulging in this lovely experience Mayan Monkey creates!

EcoCat Catamaran Tours is a stable 2-level boat that offers afternoon snorkeling tours to Santa Maria Bay. It's the longest and widest catamaran in Cabo, measuring 100 feet long and 50 feet wide. Guests can relax inside the spacious air-conditioned salon with large windows or on lounge chairs on the bridge deck. The tour includes a sunset cruise past the arch and along the coastline, featuring fun party music, free drinks, and an optional BBQ.
Great experience and great crew. Your only had about 10 people whereas the other boats seems to be overflowing with people. This was way more my speed, relaxing, attentive staff, and entertaining music / crew. I would highly recommend this boat over any of the others.
David C — Google review
Overall, we did have fun. We went on a three hour catamaran tour to Santa Maria Beach but we did pass the arch first for some good pictures and then on to do some snorkeling. The snorkeling was not great and we barely saw any fish. I think there were too many boats in the day and the water was a little chubby, so they kept us right in the middle of the water was a little deeper and couldn’t see things. If we were closer to the rocks, we probably would’ve seen a lot more fish. They fed us burgers and hotdogs, but it wasn’t a whole lot. They said there would be extra snacks on the boat, but there wasn’t anything. If you think you might be hungry I would pack some extra snacks. It was not part of the snorkeling tour, but we did see some whales and sting rays jumping out of the water. They did have music and the vibe was nice. They will go around and take pictures of you that you can purchase later but they were really expensive for what you got. We got better pictures on my iPhone.

Awesome sunset cruise with EcoCat. Great boat, great crew, great drinks...hot tip- don't bother with the buffet option, it can be too windy or bumpy to enjoy.

Had the time of our lives! The crew was amazing! The food was really good, and the drinks where really good too! The staff put on a great show and really kept the party going! Worth every penny! The restaurant smelled so good at check in we went thr following night for food! A must do when in cabo! You will not regret it!

My daughter wanted to go snorkeling badly. We looked at a few companies and decided to give Eco Cat a try for her first snorkeling adventure, and I’m so glad we did!! We checked in and had some great chicken nachos at their restaurant, Eco Bar. From the moment that we walked in, the attentive staff catered to all of our needs. They honestly have the BEST staff ever! They circled around the catamaran the entire time offering beverages, assistance, or help with photo-ops. The scenic boat ride along the Arch at Land’s End was enjoyable, and we got some great pictures. They also played entertaining, fun music. The water was pretty deep and a little rough at our snorkeling area, but that’s unpredictable. My daughter loved snorkeling in the ocean so much that she wanted to stay longer! On our way back, we were served grilled hot dogs and chicken breast sandwiches. This was an excellent experience, and we look forward to another tour with Eco Cat!

Cute little hotel in downtown Cabo San Lucas. Staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We found it convenient to walk everywhere we needed, it was about 15 minutes to the marina and 15-30 minutes from everywhere else. If you have mobility issues however, the location and the hotel layout may not be the best fit.

I don’t know how this place has such good reviews. Yes, it’s cheap…but trust me, you are getting what you paid for. We were put in a room that felt like a dungeon. It was dark, gloomy, and there were bars on the windows. There was a tiny patio, not useable at all. There was NO hot water. I told the front office staff and she explained that “I must not be doing it right”. I tried everything, there was no hot water coming out. The a/c unit was really loud and leaked water all over our room. The bed was so hard it felt like you were sleeping on plywood. I packed up first thing the next morning and booked a much nicer hotel. The swimming pool they advertise is a tiny plunge pool and it is located directly outside of the restaurant where patrons can sit and watch you sunbathe. I am just relieved I don’t have to spend another night in that dump.

We stayed for several nights and appreciated the location, close to the marina but not in the busy tourist areas. The room was nice and included a good kitchen area and the AC worked well. The pool was small, but very nice and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast at the attached restaurant was always excellent.

Late checkout available for only 600MXN until 3pm (great deal!) 10/10 recommend

Lovely hotel, nice decor in the rooms. The free parasol and towels were a nice touch. The breakfast was superb every morning. Very helpful staff in reception. Great location also.

Very clean place but that's about all. No one was at the front desk when we arrived to check in and we had to wait for someone to come open the door. A lot of paperwork has to be filled out between the staff and guests and some on a tablet. In the room, there was a fair amount of noise at night and during the morning and you're not allowed to close the bathroom window which exacerbates the issue. Air conditioner struggled when set to 30 degrees. Only one set of keys was given and that key is required to leave the building. If one person leaves the room, you need to remove all the keys, which shuts off the electricity. I would not stay here again if I had another option in the same price range.

While some visitors noted that online booking did not include transportation as stated, they found alternative options such as using Uber.
Such a blast! Ivan is so knowledgeable about the sea life, history of the area and some fun tid bits about Cabo. Our Captain Sergio is the best!! He safely got us from point A to point B. I definitely will come back on the glass boat next time we visit!

Our parasailing experience was bad until we were on the boat to go up. If you schedule for a time slot and you show up on time, why make the customer wait another 30 minutes? Very unprofessional people at the destination. What gave them 2 stars and not 1 star was Christian and his team. He knew something was wrong and tried his best to make it better. It was s pleasant experience. The person running the show needs to be more professional and acknowledge people when they arrive. I don't think I would deal with these people again.

We really enjoyed our time with Sea Cabo! The one and only Juan (our driver) was amazing. We had cold drinks waiting for us & he even celebrated my birthday with me on the ride back. The jet skis were a blast! And they took amazing pics of us. Definitely book with them.

Manta Scuba Diving is located at The Cape, A Thompson Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, offering stunning views of Land's End and the Pacific Ocean. The restaurant is overseen by renowned chef Enrique Olvera and Chef Abisai Sanchez, featuring a menu focused on Pacific Rim cuisine and fresh local seafood. The dive shop is open daily from 8:30 a.m., providing opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving in the area.
We had an amazing day diving with Julio at Manta Scuba Diving! He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We saw SO MUCH! Would definitely recommend the 2 tank combo dive between the Marine Park and the Corridor. We also opted for a last minute same day night dive that was spectacular. It was my first night dive and Julio made me feel very safe and comfortable. 1000% recommend this company (and Julio) to anyone looking for a great dive experience in Cabo!

We did a 3-tank dive tour with "Manta Scuba Diving" and it was awesome! We saw our first seahorse! * Each of the dive sites were unique: Pelican Rock with sea lions and rich biodiversity in a concentrated area; the Corridor with some currents and cool rock corals; and Land's End with varying water temperatures, currents, and shipwrecks. * The dive sites are pretty close to the docks: 5-20 min away. * Equipment is well maintained. * Our dive master took great care of us and gave us tips on areas for improvement, since we're still novices to scuba diving. * The boat was new and big! It comfortably took 3 groups of 3-5 divers. * The admin team was responsive to WhatsApp and we were able to schedule the dive with them the day before. We had a different tour booked with another company but it was cancelled on us, so we were grateful that Manta helped us out. * There are paid parking lots next to the plaza with the dive shop. Plenty of spots available in the morning.

Just Had a wonderful experience with Manta Scuba diving. Martin was are instructor and he did an amazing job taking care of us and showing us everything. I feel like the price very fair considering all the stuff that was included. Will definitely recommend to others!

We did 2 full diving days with Manta Scuba early August and they were amazing!! Angela was our dive master on the first diving day and she took great care of us and was great at keeping us happy and safe during dives that had high surge. Her positivity made our initial nervousness (because we hadn’t dived in awhile) go away. On our second day, we had Chui take us out to Cabo Pulmo and he was so knowledgeable about not only the dive site but things around Cabo. They were both perfect days!! Would highly recommend. A diving trip to remember that’s for sure.

I booked a 3-day dive package with Manta Scuba Diving and the whole experience was super wonderful!! I dove the local marine park, the Corridor, and Cabo Pulmo. Saw some cool marine life in the local areas (puffer fishes, eels, guitarfish; whales and sea lions in the Marina), but Cabo Pulmo had even more (huuuuge groups of amberjacks, hognose rays, dolphins, many eels, etc.) and definitely worth the trip. In terms of the diving operation and staff, all in all, it was a top-notch dive shop. My dive guides (Polo and Mer) were both super amazing people - kind, and enthusiastic, and made me feel very safe. Special shout out to the front desk lady (I think it’s Emily? working March 22&24)! She was very welcoming and sweet. I definitely recommend their service, and would not hesitate to book with Manta Scuba Diving again if I ever come back!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the best experience getting my Open Water certification with Kosta! He’s incredibly patient, fun, and always made me feel safe and relaxed in the water. I used to be a bit scared of diving, but his positive energy and clear guidance completely changed that — now I’ve truly fallen in love with diving! If you’re thinking about learning to dive or just want to enjoy the underwater world and watch some cute fish, Kosta is absolutely the instructor you should choose. He made every dive an amazing and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend! 🌊🐠💙

Booked online to do the pirate sunset cruise and dinner with show. We had the absolute best time. From booking to checking in and through the excursion everything was so easy and overly enjoyable. Cabo Pulmo Divers is a premier destination for both scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, nestled in the stunning Cabo Pulmo National Park. Established in 1990, this dive shop has been at the forefront of marine conservation efforts, thanks to its founder Mario Castro, who played a pivotal role in designating the park as a Hope Spot alongside renowned oceanographer Sylvia Earle. Visitors can explore vibrant underwater ecosystems teeming with diverse marine life through guided tours led by passionate experts like Chino.
No dive shop knows scuba quite like this one. What truly sets them apart? Their leader, Mario Castro, a passionate conservationist who pours his heart into protecting and sharing the beauty of Cabo Pulmo through ecotourism. Even if you're not certified yet, you can dive with expert guides. Snorkeling is an amazing option as well and when mother nature is willing, safari expeditions to see whales, sea lions and sharks! Also, they've got the best equipment and boats.

I had a great experience with Cabo Pulmo Divers and the Discovery (DSC) program. They were extremely friendly and easy to work with, and kept me updated when other participants signed up for DSC so I could join. Their story is captivating as described on their documentary found in YouTube, which is how I found them. Elizabeth was very helpful in booking and answering my questions, Daniel was great at instructing and guiding us in the experience with the help of boat captain Mateo. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my first dive or a more beautiful place for it. Worth the drive from Los Cabos (watch for cows on the road). Highly recommend it! 5⭐️

Spectacular snorkeling experience!! Fabio, our guide, Fernando, our boat captain, and Erika, our hostess, were the kindest and most professional people. My family and I enjoyed every stop in the tour: turtle watching, swimming with the sea lions, observing the riff-like fish colony (“cardumen”) and relaxing and meditating as we swam across the natural reef. What more can you ask from a Cabo Pulmo adventure!! Thanks everybody who made it possible, including Jose Luis, our travel agent in San Jose del Cabo.
Mauricio C — Google review
Cabo Pulmo Divers is the best spot to go scuba diving and snorkeling Cabo Pulmo Divers not only is it the first dive shop in town (since 1990) but it's also deeply rooted in the preservation of this magical marine aquarium. Mario Castro, the owner, is the visionary behind the Cabo Pulmo National Park, and his contributions to its conservation include helping Sylvia Earle make it the first Hope Spot ever, a designation recognizing vital ecosystems (the docu film is in Netflix- Mission Blue). Recently, the award-winning documentary "El Pulmo" was released, shedding light on the park's conservation efforts and its impact on local wildlife. The film has won multiple accolades, including Big Blue at the Oregon Film Festival this year, further cementing the importance of this incredible marine sanctuary. I've been returning to Cabo Pulmo Divers for 8 years now, and it’s more than just a dive shop it’s a place that feels like home, surrounded by a community of passionate divers and conservationists. Don’t hesitate to book your next adventure with them. You’ll be diving into legacy of environmental stewardship.

Everything about our experience was wonderful. The folks at the dive shop, our captain and of course our guide, Chino, Chino gave me my first introduction into the Marine Park and I know for sure his passion for the health of this wonderful place is 100% real. Chino made me feel very comfortable in pretty cold low visibility conditions. Despite that I can’t recall ever seeing that many different big fish in schools, in my life. I started diving in 1988. Our 4th and last dive was wild- the viability was pretty low as we descended but cleared up as we approached the bottom. I stopped counting the moray eels that were swimming out in the open seemingly everywhere because some of-the largest stingrays I have seen decided to take flight right under us. By far the mist incredible thing i got to see was an octopus batting 4-5 fish all bigger than him-his color went from brown to white to brown with white spots, then he turned into what looked like a fish before hiding amongst the coral looking exactly like he were actually coral. Chino said that because of the protection the reef has, the fish are more comfortable with divers. Wow was that true. Schools of jacks, yellow tang (?) and some of the biggest grouper I have ever seen - not one or two but 30 or more. Baja is a special place and the people that work and protect Cabo Pulmo appreciate and protect it with all of their hearts . .I will be back, Cabo Pulmo will forever have a special place in my heart. Thank you all for sharing your paradise with me. It was amazing. Much love ✌️ Matt Pedigo Indpls, usa

We had a great 3-tank day with Cabo Pulmo Divers. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The facilities and boat were top notch and the dive sites fun and vibrant. The prices were reasonable and the service great. Our dive guide (Chito) made sure that we were competent and comfortable before heading out. On the dives, he was a chill, yet observant, dive guide, making us feel safe, yet let us do our thing. We had a blast with Cabo Pulmo Divers and look forward to coming back again soon. Unfortunately, due to Cyclone Lorena, our week was cut short, but we’ll be back! Thanks CPD!!

We had a fantastic experience with Cabo Pulmo Divers in the amazing marine reserve of Cabo Pulmo. It was a challenging trip at first due to the unexpected landing of a CAT 1 hurricane so the diving was delayed. However due to the flexibility and professionalism of Cabo Pulmo Divers we were able to complete our courses and fit in the dives in our limited time. To call Cabo Pulmo rustic is an understatement but the backdrop is stunning and below the surface the diving is spectacular. Thank you Cabo Pulmo Divers for showing us the best of Cabo diving!

The sunset cruises are particularly popular for their romantic ambiance with Champagne and stunning views of the sun setting behind Land's End rock formations. Additionally, they offer private charters and overnight options.
Absolutely Amazing they were great. We were closer to the whales than any other boat. Captain and first mate were great and made sure we had a good time. As soon as we were done watching the whales they raised the sails for a relaxing sail. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Great experience. Charlie the guide was great. Drinks were good. We had a memorable time. Only thing is I wish we could have snorkels more ( maybe that’s my fault for not letting them know. The food was ok, but with the waves it didn’t get to finish the food because it was knocked over and spilled all over the floor.

Highly recommend the 3 hour private snorkeling cruise with Juan and Luis aboard the Ave Maria! Luis mixed the best drinks (served ice cold in metal tumblers) and we saw lots of fish at Pelican Rocks. Friendly crew, delicious local food, spacious and comfortable boat. Worth the splurge to escape the crowds.

If you have more than 3 people then this is the tour to book. Cheaper for up to 6 people than paying for 3 to be in a boat with 15 other people. Capt Pepe and Charlie were awesome!!! Perfect for the family. Love cruising along the coast line and then swimming along the shore. We got some great pics of the arch! We did the 3 hour private sailing tour.

This has to be one of the BEST whale watching tours that I have ever partaken in. The Capitan and the First Mate were both exceptional at taking care of us. The catamaran was not new, but very well maintained and decked out nicely for us. The appetizers (fresh guacamole), and the cheese, veggie, and fruit plate > and then the fabulous quesadillas and pork taco wraps... WOW. And the Margaritas were straight up Top Bar Quality. We all loved the entire experience.

We took a catamaran out for 3 hours and Enrique (captain) and Roberto (host) were amazing! Toured the bay, did some sightseeing around the rocky cliffs of the cape, snorkeled for a bit, and enjoyed a few dives off the boat. Snacks and drinks were very good and plenty. They let us connect to Bluetooth for our own music. Best part was watching Roberto jump in after my dropped phone (in a dry bag) in about 15ft of water! Thanks Roberto. Note: pretty long walk to their dock if you're coming from the #Cabo sign.

The BEST outing we had while in Cabo! We rented a sailboat for a few hours & wish we could have stayed another day to do it again. Daniel and Pepe were amazing and soo much fun, we loved seeing the Arch, sailing, snorkeling, and best of all - seeing the whales up close! The food and drinks were great as well, I would definitely do this again. Couldn’t have asked for better people too, if you go be sure to request Daniel and Pepe!

Man, where to begin!!! My wife and I rented the yacht for the evening and it was nothing short of amazing!!! Lewis and crew were fantastic. Lewis turned out to be from an area I worked in Cali for a couple years so that also made for good conversation! The pictures don’t do our trip justice. He and the crew took amazing care of us. From the snacks to the drinks, everything was amazing. We were able to snorkel, paddle board, relax in the sun and even catch some fish for dinner! First time eating sushi in many years and it was phenomenal. Fresh fish is always the best! If you are looking for an amazing trip whether you are a small group or a couple, as the wife and I did, look no further. Book with Captain Lewis and his crew. I know this is our first time in Cabo and won’t be the last, but I can promise this, we will only board whatever boat Captain Lewis and crew is running! Thanks again for a experience one can only dream about!

I contacted Lewis a week before our arrival and discussed my plan to propose to my long time girlfriend while onboard. He and his wife went way above to make sure it was an incredible experience for us both. We texted the morning of the trip and discussed what foods we preferred. Part way through the trip they brought out an incredible platter of Tuna Sashimi using fresh yellowfin they had just caught that morning. It was by far the best we've ever had. The margaritas were also on point and helped the proposal go a little easier. Lewis maneuvered the boat into a quiet spot by the Arch and she said yes! He and his wife did a great job capturing the moment for us on their phones and then texted the pics to us. From there we moved offshore a bit to catch up with a pod of whales which was an incredible ending to an already perfect day. The boat was spotless and they were on top of every detail. I'd highly recommend them, and we look forward to going again when we come back. Thank you to Lewis and Damaris for a day we wont ever forget. Garrett and Gian

Best Trip Ever! Review of Book Now Adventures Pending review We went to Cabo recently and decided to get a charter because of COVID and safety. I was able to message with them for days before setting up as I had a ton of questions. They responded in a timely manner, were always nice and accommodating. Which is the main reason we chose them over the many other options. We wanted to fish but wanted the comfort of a nice boat, while keeping my family safe. The day we went out the weather was horrible. We were so worried we would have to cancel but Lewis took us out. We intended to fish and snorkel. Within a half hour we were catching Dorado left and right. Rain was coming at us sideways. So we went somewhere else and the weather cleared up and we kept catching fish. We decided due to the weather we would cancel snorkeling and just keep fishing. It paid off! We caught a 200 pound Blue Marlin! My kids each reeled in 2 Dorado, along with me and my husband. They made fresh sashimi on board and had fresh fruit and pastries in the morning and an amazing chicken fajitas lunch. It was simply wonderful. We would have loved to snorkel but the weather just didn't allow it. But we have a trip that memories were made of. The entire crew were wonderful, kind, professional and just the best! I would encourage anyone to spend the money and you won't regret it!!!

What a spectacular day on the water! Lewis and his crew didn’t miss a beat. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. The freshly made crudo, snacks and open bar were top notch. The boat was clean and well maintained. We even threw in the fishing lines while en route to Chileano Bay for snorkeling and landed a Bonita which Lewis graciously filleted and we took back to Palmilla’s sushi restaurant where the chef made us a Bonita tasting menu. Perfection all around!

If you're seeking an unforgettable diving experience, look no further than the Solmar V Liveaboard. This impressive 112-foot vessel takes you on extended nine-day adventures from Cabo San Lucas to the breathtaking Revillagigedos islands, particularly Socorro. Operating from November through June, these trips offer divers a chance to explore vibrant underwater ecosystems teeming with marine life. Imagine swimming alongside majestic giant manta rays, playful dolphins, and various shark species in their natural habitat.
If you're considering a liveaboard diving trip with Solmar V, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This company exemplifies a staggering lack of professionalism and accountability, wrapped in a package of subpar service. Let’s start with the most frustrating part of my experience: they lost my camera set up. Yes, my expensive camera that I entrusted to them for safekeeping while I exited the water. Instead of taking responsibility for the mishap, they had the audacity to blame me for its disappearance. Their excuse? They claimed I hadn’t taken enough precautions, despite following their instructions to the letter. The level of gaslighting was astonishing. Not only did they refuse to reimburse me for the camera, but they also refused to even entertain the notion that they might be at fault. Their only offer for compensation was a $500 discount on my next trip to Socorro with them. Like I would ever set foot on their ship again. I was not the only guest with equipment issues either. Other guests complained of broken equipment due to the carelessness of the crew. As if that weren’t bad enough, the condition of the ship was frankly appalling. If you're imagining a luxury diving experience, prepare to be disappointed. The rooms were cramped and poorly maintained. The facilities were outdated and sorely lacking in cleanliness. They claim they have new “luxury bedding,” but it still felt like a hostel. This ship was far from the polished experience they advertise—it felt more like a rundown motel at sea. The diving itself was, of course, spectacular because of the location—but that’s not thanks to Solmar. Any operator would’ve delivered a similar experience, minus the headache of dealing with incompetence. In short, if you value your personal belongings, decent living conditions, and being treated with respect, avoid Solmar at all costs. The stress and disappointment they caused turned what should’ve been a dream trip into a nightmare.

Booked a white shark dive but the area has been closed off. Tried to get our money back but keep getting no response. Three thousand dollars we won’t see again. Don’t book with them.
