A place I go to every year visiting Aruba. I always get the Almond Grouper fish, it’s so delicious! I got the side, a potato grout, that was amazing, would highly recommend, get it every time. My wife got the Schnitzel Vienna Style, also get that every time, very good. We also got some yummy martini drinks as well. I got the watermelon one very refreshing. This was the first time we were able to catch a live singer at Madame’s. Because we have two younger children, we’re not able to stay very late. But the family was good this time so we were able to enjoy. Plenty of seating in the outdoor patio area and inside as well, a very comfortable environment! I recommend making a reservation in advance. Come to enjoy a nice dinner evening, enjoy!

Family of four for 6pm reservation on Friday. The dinner crowd wasn’t there yet and we chose to sit outside. Great atmosphere, nice breeze and shade from trees. Drinks were great. Appetizer was bitter ballen (spelling). Entrees were great! Waitress and staff also wonderful and helpful. Solo live musician was spot on. We really enjoyed our meal. Leave room for dessert. It was incredible!

We had Jai as our waitress and I have to say how observant and great she is in what she does. I was wearing a skirt, and after we placed in an order for our drinks, the straw-made seats were really digging my skin. So I asked her for an extra napkin to place it on the seat. As I got up to place the napkin on the seat, Jai had returned and brought a cushion for me to comfortably sit on. I was surprised that she noticed quickly and act accordingly. As far as the food and drinks, they were excellent. My boyfriend and I ordered the Aruban spring punch and the passion fruit kiss. Let me tell you, they don’t cheap out on the liquor pour. For apps, we ordered the mix dumplings and bang-bang shrimp. The dumplings could’ve been better imo, but the shrimp was delicious! For our dinner, we had the steak for 2 and all I have to say is….you won’t regret this option. Last but not least, we ordered the fried Oreos for dessert. It was nothing special, but still good nonetheless. We would definitely come back here again in the future if we ever decide to take another trip to the island.

Renowned for its quality fine cuisine which I tested and indeed it is true. I chose it to be the final dining experience for my stay in Aruba. If it were not for the bad live music I would have rated them at a five! The atmosphere is great (an experience) yet the live singer did not do justice to it! Service was slow and long time between entries. The Vienna Schnitzel is the biggest, most delicious I ever had. Make sure you try the Carpaccio as an appetizer. Almost any type of beer in Europe will be there!

This garden-style restaurant has a spacious outdoor setting with plenty of seating and nice decor. The food is delicious, though the portions are a bit small for the price, which is on the higher side. That said, service is fast and the staff are friendly and attentive. A pleasant spot for a relaxed meal, especially if you enjoy dining in a well-decorated, open-air environment.

What an amazing place! First went here about 20 years ago and remembered it when we just went back to Aruba. The food is incredible, but the best part is the atmosphere. They managed to create a garden-like oasis in an area where you would not expect it. From the perfect, ambient lighting to the live music that is at a perfect volume, I'll come here at least once every time I'm in Aruba!

What a hidden gem! Very unique restaurant: you have to stand in line before you enter, order and pay your food, get your drinks and then get a table. Fish is different every day, they also have shrimp. Sides are fries, plantain, or cornbread- everything absolutely delicious! It's right next to the ocean, amazing view. A must when you visit Aruba!

This place is definitely worth a visit . We enjoyed so much we went twice. I will be singing it's praises for all to visit. The menu is simple and that's fantastic. The fishes and shrimps are caught daily and preparation is simple and absolutely delicious. Everything we ate was a mouth watering experience. The hot sauce of the island was fantastic. This place is a must!

I enjoyed the experience. You wait in line to choose fresh fish and shrimp, and the amount you pick is weighed on the spot. What you selected is then fried right away for you to eat. The positives are that the food is very fresh! The shrimp are huge and the price is VERY affordable. However, I felt that everything had the same flavour… fried, with a kind of chimichurri sauce on top, and the shrimp are not so cleaned (the vein is still there). I also didn’t like having to wait an hour in line, in the heat, just to choose my meal. I loved the fact that you eat with your hands, no fuss! There are several sinks to wash your hands afterward! It’s worth the experience.

Located on the beach, Great for seafood lovers. I had salad and plantain as not much for vegetarians. Others with me had fish. They seemed to enjoy it. Corn bread was actually pancake so do not order it. Fries were good. Place was reasonably priced. Place not very fancy and close to beach

We went during the week around 3pm in the off season and there wasn’t a line. Staff was pretty friendly and helped explain how ordering works. You pick the types of fish and quantities then they fry it all. The food was disappointing. All the fish were deep fried and some pieces of fish were dry. Also lacked seasoning. I’m glad we went because it was recommend by many people but I wouldn’t go back. Luckily we didn’t have to wait in line because it’s definitely not worth it. It’s a pretty view from the patio, though.

Such a unique experience! You pick your seafood at the counter, they weigh it in front of you, and it’s all super fresh — straight from the fishermen’s catch of the day. The fried fish and shrimp were delicious, perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is casual and right by the water, which makes it feel very local and authentic. Definitely a must-visit when in Aruba!

Best and freshest food I ate while on Aruba! I heard great things before going and was glad I got to go just before we left. Amazing fresh snapper, add such a tasty cream of the sea soup! Pina colada was the perfect finisher, and its nice they served some free garlic bread alongside everything too. Definitely get there a little early if you don't want to wait too long to get in as its a busy spot. The service is fast though and they were very friendly and attentive.

The food was excellent. I had ceviche at several places while in Aruba and this was the best. My barracuda special was outstanding too. Highly recommended for fresh fish. Also the garlic bread was really good.

We visited this place for dinner on our vacation. The place was packed which I can understand. The food is out of this world. We ended up sitting at the bar. Which was even better than sitting at the table because our bartenders Reni and Collin went above and beyond in service. Our cocktails were incredible! We were presented with recommendations of the specials for the night. Explained the ingredients that we weren’t familiar with. Regularly checking on us and truly made us feel very special. I highly recommend this place because of the food but even more because of the service we have received during our visit.

Caught in the morning and cooked for you that night. Amazing amazing food. Bright and fun dining room with quick service. Coconut shrimp, ceviche 10 out of 10. Dinners served with cornbread and veggies and rice and come hungry!! We absolutely loved it 😁👌🏼

We came by on a Friday evening and were told the wait would be about 20 minutes-not bad. There wasn’t really a good place to wait, but luckily we got seated in around 15 minutes.After that, though, things slowed way down. It took a while before anyone came to take our order, and then even longer to actually get the food. By the time our dishes arrived, we had been there for over an hour. The place was also really loud, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the evening. Honestly, we started to regret choosing this spot. That said, the food was great-fresh, hot, and flavorful, with good-sized portions. I had the ocean soup, which came with a few croutons. I do wish they served it with some warm bread or even their cornbread-that would’ve made it even better.

We waited around 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, the food came out quickly, and the seafood was fresh and tasty. Prices are on the higher side, but the portions are big. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating—indoor space felt cramped and noisy, which made it hard to really enjoy the meal. There are a few outdoor tables, but not many. Worth it for the food, but the overall dining experience could be better.

Food here was ok, but nothing spectacular. They do not take reservations. Walk in only. We waited about 10 minutes for a table. Service was mediocre as well. It was also extremely loud in there, as it got louder people just kept raising their voices until it seemed like people were yelling at each other so they could hear over other tables. With so many great restaurants, I doubt we will eat here again.

Driftwood – Aruba Driftwood is a true gem in the heart of Aruba! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance captured the island’s rustic charm, with walls adorned in actual driftwood—guests can even carve their names into it, which we did! It’s such a fun and personal touch, especially since we plan to return with our family in the future. The cocktails were absolutely spot on—expertly mixed and perfect for unwinding after a beach day. We started with the fish soup, which was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. It felt like a warm hug in a bowl. But the highlight was definitely the pan-seared catch of the day. Perfectly cooked, delicately seasoned, and so fresh it practically melted in our mouths. Every bite reminded us why seafood is best enjoyed island-side. Driftwood isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience—laid-back, authentic, and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Aruba. We’ll definitely be back!

Our server was so nice and accommodating, food came up quickly and piping hot. I tried the fish soup and he brought some papaya hot sauce to add to it. Great call! The escargot is a can’t miss appetizer and the creole shrimp with a peach sauce was also great.

We visited the restaurant after our fishing charter as they offered to cook what we had caught. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. The servers all work together to ensure that everyone has what they need. I would highly recommend Driftwood to anyone visiting the island.

This place was amazing! They cooked up our mahi mahi that we had caught earlier in the day. Every style of preparation was absolutely delicious! Service was impeccable. Highly recommend this place (free garlic bread is delish!)

Driftwood was amazing. Everything screams Aruba and the food was so good. Their catch of the day is fantastic (but so as other stuff on the menu). Definitely make reservation in advance though. We saw a lot of people waiting when we were done.

My husband and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary here, and it was unforgettable. The private pier table was so romantic — just us, the ocean, and an incredible dinner. We loved it so much that we came back again to enjoy the bar. The atmosphere is beautiful with soft lighting and tropical vibes, and our bartender was amazing — so friendly, attentive, and made the best drinks. We enjoyed talking to him. This place is truly special, and we can’t wait to come back again!

Best view hands down we've had in Aruba. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who made us feel super welcome. We were seated right along the water with a beautiful view of the sunset. 10/10 The live piano player was amazing and really added to the ambiance. The food was spectacular. Zero complaints there. The service wasn't super fast (as seen on other reviews) but we were having a nice romantic dinner so it was nice to not feel rushed. I can see how some people would be annoyed but over all, it didn't bother us at all. Our waitress Carolyn was super friendly and did a great job! We will forsure come back next time we come to Aruba!

Went here for the first time with my fiancé for our seven year anniversary! From location, staff, and most importantly, the food, It was one of the most delicious meals we have ever had! We started off with the ceviche and it was top 3 of the island. For my main dish, I got the lamb racks & they were so flavorful. Best Lamb I ever tasted! My fiancé got the surf and turf with the scallops. He said he liked it but definitely would get the lamb if we went back! This place is so beautiful and they did such a good job! Definitely give this place a try!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but the restaurant was unbelievable. There was a live piano player and other music when they weren't playing, the beach was absolutely beautiful, the bar was really cool, and the food was delicious. I think Carolyn was the name of our waitress, and she was fantastic, very attentive. Thank you guys! Also we were there for our anniversary and the gave us a free glass of champagne!

Giving place an extra point for the view. The views are absolutely stunning here! The owners of this place also have 2 adorable cats that hang on the beach, one of who settled herself under our table! For some people, this might be a negative but it was the highlight of my experience! As beautiful as this place is, the food did not measure up. It was overpriced for what we got and mediocre at best. Bang bang shrimp were soggy and flavorless. My husband and I both got their signature dish, shrimp a la vodka. The sauce was no better than what I can get at a local pizzeria, and the shrimp were under seasoned and mushy. They felt a bit underdone, which is pretty hard to do with shrimp. It was also $50 per plate, which is quite steep even for a decent version of this dish. We decided to take a chance on dessert and split a slice of key lime pie, which tasted like it was straight out of the freezer. Service was also pretty slow (seemed understaffed). When we got the bill, we were almost charged for a glass of wine and a cocktail that never arrived. Thankfully, they took it off the bill. If you’re looking for views and perhaps a cocktail, might be worth checking out. However, with so many great options on the island, I don’t plan to return.

Such a dreamy experience. The interior is like something from a fairytale or movie set it’s so beautiful. The food was delicious as well and the tables are so private and romantic. You can get a table right on the beach, and they also have verandas to reserve for a more private experience. The entire resort is just so lush and beautiful.

This is the ultimate romantic restaurant in Aruba. Reservations are required since they only have like 10 tables, but you sit on the beach with live music watching sunset. I am sure many proposals have been done there Good it on the pricey side, but you paying for the location. The staff was ultra friendly. Fantastic evening

My husband and I had an unforgettable dinner at Flying Fish Bone. I love dining with my toes in the sand, very unique dining options in the water also! The sunset views were gorgeous, the dishes were flavorful and artfully prepared, and the service was attentive and friendly. Perfect spot for a romantic evening while in Aruba.

Loved everything about this restaurant! Our waiter (alex) was a gentleman & very handsome😌. The hostess was so kind. The food was amazing! We had salmon & fish, loved the mashed potatoes & dessert! The best experience in Aruba. I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived and was greeted by Sari speaking Portuguese, knowing we were from Brazil! That showed exceptional customer care. Sari was the perfect waitress—smiling and giving great recommendations! The place is just as amazing as it looks in the photos… we went at 5:30 pm to watch the sunset and stayed until nightfall. The meals are perfect, the drinks are very well made, and I loved everything!

Amazing restaurant with phenomenal view. I was researching best places to eat on the water in Aruba and this popped up. We got so lucky to book a beach table and be offered a water table when we showed up for our anniversary celebration. They were initially all booked. The food was delicious and the waiter (Romel) and staff were very good. This place was worth the hype! Get your toes in the water and watch the sunset.

This was out 3rd visit to West Deck. Views are always absolutely stunning. Great spot to catch a romantic sunset pic. Or just enjoy the views while you dine. The food is so delicious and drinks are spot on. This time Pierce was our waiter and he made our visit to fun. He recommended some dishes that definitely did not disappoint. Every time we’re in Aruba this is a must stop!

I tried to get photos but my family destroyed the food! We decided to get a bunch of appetizers and try everything. The Garlic shrimp 10/10! The wings cooked perfectly. My son got his naked 9.5/10. The mahi-mahi was our least favorite I would say a 6/10. It needed more seasoning. The calamari was cooked very well and no fishy taste.9/10. My son got a full rack of ribs and he did “the fat boy dance” the entire time he ate. He said a 20/10. I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was a little blan at first but the brought us pickled onions and it went from a 5/10 to an 8.5. The coconut shrimp I was told was delicious and a 9/10. I don’t eat coconut. The key lime pie and the Oreo cheesecake 🤯 delicious!!!!

What a delightful place for lunch. We stumbled on this place by chance. There were only two tables occupied when we arrived. Had a meal that was more like a fancy restaurant than tavern food we expected. We watched planes coming in for landing at the nearby airport while we enjoyed a relaxing lunch. Apparently we just beat the rush, because by the time we left, the place had filled up!

West Deck had decent food with an amazing ambiance. The restaurant is directly on the beach. The service was good too. During our visit they had live music. Overall great vibes.

The food at The West Deck was really good and tasty. The dishes were creative and full of flavor, with something a little different in every bite. One standout was the pasta salad with beets—absolutely phenomenal. A silent delight that caught me by surprise. Their hot sauce also deserves a shoutout—spicy, bold, and really brought the dishes to life. The location right off the water made the atmosphere amazing. Great views, good food, and a chill island vibe all in one spot.

Came here for lunch when I first came to Aruba. It’s a nice restaurant and right on the beach. The ceviche was so bomb and fresh but the big chunks were huge . The food and customer service was sooo good we’re going back before we leave.

Was decided between Atardi or Passions on the beach. But due to the strong sewage smell from the water treatment plant close to passions, I decided to choose Atardi. Booked reservation via Open Table, however emailed their concierge to request a table closest to the water as I was planning to propose. They responded quickly and confirmed the request/booking. Once we arrived, we were greeted at the front of the restaurant where we were politely greeted. Reservations were for 6:45pm due to booking slots on Open Table, however we arrived at 6pm (which was the time I had wanted to book) and were seated shortly after. The table and view did not disappoint. My girlfriend now fiancé couldn’t believe how nice the view was and love everything about it. We were serviced by a woman (I had forgotten her name) and Oscar. They were the best and helped me through the whole proposal. The women took photos of us for the proposal and turned out beautifully. Oscar was polite and enthusiastic. Wouldn’t have asked for any other two. My Fiancé loved the Kim Crawford white wine, and I enjoyed the passion fruit mocktail. The food was between decent and amazing, as Aruba has many great food selections. We had ordered the scallops and octopus appetizers. The scallop appetizer was cooked perfectly, however I would have liked more flavour. The octopus app was delicious as it was cooked perfectly but had a kick of flavour from every bite. For the main course we enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass and braised short rib. The sea bass was soft in the inside with enough sear on the outsides. I would have liked more salt for my taste buds. Thank you to the staff and restaurant for creating an ever lasting memory!

We had dinner on the beach for the 4th of July and were seated right by the water, having a perfect view of the fireworks. There was a long wait (1 hour 40 minutes for food) and a delay getting seated despite our reservation. Still, the staff was kind and the food was delicious. Overall, a good experience with some delays, but the view and food were excellent.

We had our anniversary dinner at Atardi and loved sitting right on the beach near the water—it’s such a beautiful setting. I do wish it felt a little more private since it’s the same beach as the hotel, and there were people swimming and being pretty loud at sunset. Other than that, the food was decent and the drinks were very good. Overall, a nice spot for a special evening in Aruba.

Dinner was delicious… views were amazing.. we arrived and didn’t have reservations for dinner on our first night. They were able to get us in for dinner around 8pm and it was great. Oscar was funny, attentive and couldn’t be more accommodating. Great place for a romantic dinner on the beach

The restaurant is very beautiful with a phenomenal sunset view, even when it’s late at night the stars look amazing. The tables on the beach were a fun experience and the sand feels great until you have a giant spider in the sand crawling across your foot. I ordered the lobster salad and it was very disappointing, the lobster was very rubbery and the salad itself was bland.

The most romantic location on the beach!!! Gourmet food, portions are enough, Mahi mahi in coconut sauce was perfect as was the Atardi Sunset Choco dessert that is flambeed with a little rum that does not overpower...heavenly! The octopus and scallop appetizers were deliciously seasoned & we would order them again. Sunset was spectacular as was the attentive friendly service, We are returning for a second time for our anniversary tomorrow.

The view here was amazing! We were right on the beach, front and center to the Aruba sunset. We both got surf & turf, which was a good size lobster tail and a filet mignon. For appetizers we got the shrimp and octopus. All of it was fantastic!! I would not leave Aruba till you have had dinner here. Reservations are required.

Walking into this restaurant, I was immediately captivated by an atmosphere that radiates the charm and warmth of an authentic Caribbean eatery. The vibrant decor and friendly staff—aside from a hostess who, glued to her computer screen while checking reservations, greeted each guest with robotic indifference—created high expectations for a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, the food failed to match the promise of its inviting surroundings. Every dish we sampled was disappointingly bland, lacking the bold, dynamic flavors that are the hallmark of Caribbean cuisine. The shrimp and panga fish were notably under-seasoned, missing the signature spices and zest I anticipated. Even the sides, which should have showcased tropical flair, felt uninspired and forgettable. While the overall service was attentive and the ambiance delightful, the kitchen simply did not deliver the authentic, flavorful experience that makes Caribbean food so special. If you’re seeking a restaurant with great atmosphere, this place delivers. However, for those in search of genuine Caribbean taste, you may leave wishing for much more. In hindsight, I should have known what to expect when the meal began with the driest bread imaginable—seemingly pulled straight from a plastic bag—and served with butter that tasted like the cheapest option from a local supermarket. I feel like I just wasted 150 U.S. dollars.

With so many options, we were a bit torn on where to go for our anniversary dinner, but landed on Papiamento. And I am so glad we did! We had an incredible experience. They staff was kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Service was a little slow, so don't expect to get in an out in a rush. Such a unique atmosphere and we truly loved it! The food was amazing and different from the usual, the wine list is expansive and they did help us select the right bottle for us, and it was just absolutely beautiful. The wine celler is something to be admired and the cigar lounge is small but mighty. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thank you all for a lovely dining experience

We had a reservation at 7:30, showed up at 7:45 and had to wait to be seated, understandable. Second the table was wobbly and had to get 2 people to come stabilize it. Next came the drinks, they were good. Then came the app, the brie brulee, which was also good but only came with 3 small pieces of toast. Next came the steak tenderloin (not served on the stone). Asked for medium well and it came out more like medium rare. One had to be sent back. It was good but I wasn't impressed. And the servers, one mainly, was less than attentive. I probably won't be back, though the atmosphere is it's biggest draw.

Best meal we have had in Aruba. It is truely an experience more than just a meal. We were lucky enough to get seated next to the pool and have Ruth and Ginovanni take care of us. Take their recommendations! The ambiance is indescribable, the food and service were impeccable. Papiamento’s will be the first reservation we make each time we come to Aruba from now on.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was so cozy and gorgeous. I felt very welcomed and service was great. I recommend to get on of the stone dishes, as it’s already some of the most popular.

The ambiance was incredible! This restaurant is fully outdoors, and you’re seated in what seems like the backyard of a house, around a pool. The service was great and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the empanadas, lamb chops and various fish dishes. Our favorite meal in Aruba.

If you enjoy food and enjoy treating yourself, then you have to come to Papiamento. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Atmosphere incredible, and the service was top notch. Take time to explore the house and visit the cigar shop.

Dined on 4th of July and it was quite busy. Staff was great and did their best. Saw some people get rude because they didn’t get outside seating, but staff still managed to give them what they wanted. Hostess handled the communication well. The food was delicious! I tried their super surf and turf and my friend ordered the garlic shrimp. The only thing I would change was the watermelon margarita special that night didn’t quite taste as expected. It had a medicine taste to it. Would definitely go again!

A wonderful first evening in Aruba for my fam. We sat at a table right on the beach side in the sand. I got the fish special along with a mudslide. There was 3 different kinds of fish, it was absolutely amazing! Fresh off the boat same day - it’s worth it! If you want to try something different that you wouldn’t order at home, give a plate like this a whirl! They have a great kids menu as well. My two got the chicken nuggets and cheese burger sliders (came with two) with sides of fries, those were good too! Our waitress was excellent and super sweet. Overall very satisfying location spot with a wonderful atmosphere restaurant right on the Oceanside. Come join along for a wonderful evening! Perfect spot for dinner and sunset scenery!

The view here is amazing located right on the beach with a great sea breeze. Drinks were absolutely delicious and the pizza was also. The calamari was a little too basic with not much seasoning and service was not the fastest. We came back a few days later for breakfast and once again it was very slow service and the club salmon did not have too much flavor.

We ordered a few things to share. First we had the seafood chowder. It was a red cream sauce and loaded with shellfish and fish. Great flavor! Next was pizza. Great thin crust with just the right amount of sauce. It was loaded with veggies and mozzarella. And last we had Key Lime Pie. We’ve had a couple of them in the island but this was by far the best! The pie was light yet substantial and the lemon sorbet that came with it was a nice surprise that was the perfect accompaniment.

Loved the location and the service was flawless. The food was meh, especially the chicken caesar salad. One of the easiest things to make and it was terrible. Too much dressing and the chicken was AWFUL, old, hard, and dry. The Cevice was fine and desserts were nice. For the price, the food should be better.

Great restaurant on the beach! Food is always on point! Drinks are great too! Service is excellent!! I always eat there with my GF when we come. Your view is amazing bc you’re on the beach looking at the ocean. The service is exceptional, the wait staff is always great with recommendations & attentiveness. I’m not sure if it’s the same cook or they are all just trained the same but the food does not miss! The restaurant is reasonably priced & you get what you pay for! The beef carpaccio, & the seafood soup were outstanding! I also had the seafood risotto which is always great! I never miss an opportunity to eat here when I come to Aruba. I ate there this past April/May too.

The fried cornbread was bomb i would say you have to try this if you go, the burger was good as well and the fries was fresh. My paella was ok but you can tell everything was very fresh and not frozen.

The place is geared more for the locals with good food but service that operates on 'island time' where there is no sense of urgency to anything. If you have the patience, you will be rewarded, especially if you ordered one of the seafood pasta dishes. The restaurant relocated and is now on the main road along the coast. Service hasn't gotten any better, still with a huge attitude, but worth putting up with as the food is still well made and presented.

One thing besides some of the BEST seafood in Aruba which stood out to me. The Old Fisherman's service was in my opinion absolutely top notch. They were so friendly and attentative. I felt like I was in someone's home. They were serving up food you're going to be thinking about & want over and over again. The calamari sauce was spicy. I enjoyed mixing it with another sauce served with my fish. Definitely trying it again. Actually I did have plenty of leftovers. Also I have to say the coleslaw was some of the best on the island.

Had calamari for an appetizer and a very delicious plate that had snapper in a buttered garlic sauce for the main course. The sides were mashed potatoes and a rice pilaf with plantain. It was an amazing flavor and a wonderful quiet place to eat and enjoy a good meal. Did not wait at all and the service was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone wanting delicious seafood in Aruba.

Pretty good place! I had the salmon with creamy sauce and cajun fries. It was excellent!!! My cousin had the Mahi Mahi fish. It was a little dry and over cooked. Great Aruba Ariba drinks!

We ate lunch during their happy hour specials while at Aruba on our cruise. It was close walking distance from the port and shops. We ordered ceviche as an appetizer and was perfect along with the fried pan bati (cornbread) as we waited for the fish and chips. It was a bit busy and took a while for the main entree. However, the food we had was excellent. Wait staff was friendly and and took care of us once the kitchen was done preparing the fish (mahi mahi) and chips. Lightly battered fresh fish and golden brown french fries. Raymond was our server and he was great. Even talked to us a bit outside after holding the door open for us.

We came here on a Monday early evening. The vibe was kinda off/awkward, it was quiet, the music wasn’t even on in the background for most part of the evening. Our waitress was very nice though. Service of the food and drinks was a bit slower than the usual. The food however was really good in my opinion. My fiancé found the food to be a bit cold, especially the rice. I can’t say for myself, because I didn’t eat the rice. I loved the presentation and what we ordered and shared together was filling.

Our party of four all enjoyed eating dinner here. Filet and lobster, shrimp, and fish were all terrific meals. After dark the fish are very entertaining to watch in the clear water. Be sure to catch a beautiful sunset here as well.

We love this out of the regular tourist area location. We ate here on 9/18 for our anniversary and had a truly wonderful experience. The two servers that came to our table were excellent throughout the entire time we ate. My wife ordered the lobster tail special and I ordered the filet mignon, fish and shrimp. Both were exceptional and included several sides that were very well prepared. They brough out a brownie dessert with a sparkler candle for our anniversary which was a great touch, and unexpected. We had a reservation at 6pm and were seated immediately right on the waters edge. We watched the sunset and got stunning photos during the hour plus we were there. We had fishy friends in the water right next to us which also enhanced the experience. I would definitely eat at Mirina Pirata on a future visit to Aruba.

It is never busy and it makes no sense, it’s the best restaurant on the island. Coolest atmosphere by far, best fish by a LANDSLIDE. Amazing service, Sheila is so sweet and kind, she makes you feel like family. We have eaten at 32 restaurants on the island including the most popular (flying fishbone, screaming eagle, barefoot, bohemian, etc) and this one wins. Truly a hidden gem

Definitely of the beaten path here in Aruba, but worth the trek. Cute place right on the water. Dinner was fabulous, we both had Mahi Mahi cooked in different ways. The atmosphere was spectacular as were the views. It's fun to watch the fish swim up by the pier while eating. Dinner and a show. Absolutely recommend. checking it out, we had a very nice evening.

The staff here are super friendly, attentive, and incredibly polite — they make you feel like a valued guest, not just a customer. The setting is truly magical — a beautiful waterfront view where you can watch the fish swimming right beneath your table. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a relaxing evening with friends. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked ,especially the seafood, which was some of the best we’ve had on the island. You can really taste the quality

A really tasty enjoyable meal- right on the water! The seafood was great and the drinks were tasty and didn’t feel watered down. you can sit right I. The water and see all the fish as you dine. The service was fantastic. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because there were some mosquitos here. The staff provided us with bug spray, all the same not the most appetizing thing to be covering yourself with before a meal.

We were very early for our reservation (5:45 for 6:30. my bad) but they gladly seated us at a great tale right on the water. The waitress (Sheila i think) could not have been sweeter and took great care of us. Unfortunately a storm rolled in during dinner and we had to move under cover but still on the water. For an app we had calamari that was ok, though the breading did not have much flavor. For entrees we had the Chefs special which was fish and shrimp in creole sauce with cheese. My wife removed the cheese and loved the rest of the dish. I had the whole fried red snapper. I thought the presentation was great and Sheila helped with the spine removal. The fish was tasty and tender, Sheila brought a pickled onion hot sauce and it really made the dish. We enjoyed all the sides that came with the entrees as well. The ambiance and service were excellent, I can only imagine taking in a sunset.

We ordered seafood soup, grilled octopus, and traditional Peruvian beef stew. By our fourth day, this had been our favorite dining experience in terms of taste, portion size, and price. Definitely recommend!

It was our first time at this peruvian restaurant. We came based on their reviews. The girl that served us was kind and friendly. We ordered squids as appetizers. They were ruby. I had grilled red snapper with seafood and spicy sauce on top. My husband had octopus grilled. Both entrees did not look satisfied. All seafood was ruby. The fish was stiff and dry. The sauce and rice as a side were good and that was we liked mostly.

Flavorful and hole in the wall vibes. We absolutely loved this restaurant and it’s better than the others that are over hyped on social media.

Great food in a quiet area. We ordered the mussel as an app - the cilantro onion lime on top was so refreshing. For entrees we got grilled octopus - great grilled flavor, the potatoes were soft and flavorful & the herby sauce on the side was delicious! We also got the fried fish & yucca. The fish was soft paired with the crunchy onion to cut the grease was perfect. Lastly we got the seafood rice. It had such deep seafood flavor and was packed with so much seafood. It ended up being $32 per person - such a great deal!

Absolutely amazing must for some amazingly fresh delicious food. I had this restaurant in mind a few weeks before reaching Aruba... First off..small but cute spot. Great service. Excellent quality food. We had the calamari was perfectly crunchy and the ceviche...the ceviche was perfect. Peruvian made and amazing. The specials for the day were the octopus and snapper. Well ...had to try both. Octopus was tender and grilled with a delicious side of chimmichurri. We had the whole fried snapper...fresh and seasoned perfect. It was shared across the table. The grouper with yuca was delicious. There wasn't a thing we didn't like. The soup pollo...so good. We absolutely highly suggest this spot. It's behind the hustle of the ports.

Had a very good dinner with my wife. The place is very simple but the food is very good! Specially considering the price, which is way cheaper than other restaurants around Nevertheless, the octopus was really really good! One of the best I ever had Recommended when visiting Aruba

Typically slower when we have went, but always good. The lomo saltado was delicious and a huge portion. The purpose was also excellent but could use a Tony bit of salt. It is always a nice stop when coming to Aruba and relatively close to the Marriott

I visited Daily Fish and had the fish 'n chips special. It was cooked perfectly and came out of the fryer especially hot needing to be broken up to cool off. While I'm not sure which type of fish it was, I wish I would have paid attention or asked questions to what was in the case so I could have had that cooked to order. Specifically, the barracuda or the fresh prawns I would loved to have tried. As good as the fish I had was, I'm sure either of those would be even better. Try to mix this visit in with a trip to Superfoods, after all you shouldn't go shopping when you're hungry.

Love this place! It’s my number one recommendation for fresh local fish in Aruba. I go every time we go to Super Foods. I’ve eaten there at least a few dozen times. Yes, it’s a fish market, but, they will also fry or grill it for you. Order the whole red snapper with fries and coleslaw. Today we got whole lion fish and it was incredible too. Fried octopus, calamari, and many local fish options. Have them cook it for you or take it home to cook. You can get their marinated options in SuperFoods next door as well. When you order at the counter you choose your filet or whole fish and they price it by the weight. You can have it fried or grilled. Very reasonably priced. We usually spend around $15 USD per meal. Just depends on how much fish you order. Delicious! Highly recommend for casual lunch or dinner.

Located in the Super Food Plaza, to the right of the main entrance to the market, this local seafood market offers fried and grilled fish, delicious soup and a selection of seafood to take home. We tried the barracuda which was meaty and yummy and loved the bowl of fish soup. Would skip the calamari though, not the best texture.

Excellent place & location for fresh seafood! It's adjacent to Superfoods and shares its large parking lot. Staff is very friendly. Seafood is fresh & cooked to order. Menu changes daily. Their seafood soup is to die for...prepared & cooked fresh daily with so much stuff! It's the way I love to make soup! Their prices are also very very good (like their seafood). They also sell a few staples and frozen & fresh items. Takeout is available because there is limited counter space for dining in. Not a new discovery for us but one we will now definitely come to for a casual & delicious meal whenever in Aruba!

Located in the Super Foods Plaza, Daily Fish is a seafood delight. Beyond its fish market ambiance, enjoy in fresh selections cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed the snapper and fish soup. It may look like a fish mongers shop but it’s a great spot that is centrally located, it's your go-to spot for affordable, quality lunch or dinner.

We came here for lunch after a friend’s recommendation. We arrived at about 12:45 in the afternoon. We were very excited because all the fish look very fresh. Seating was limited and it was very busy. They told us the kitchen was behind and there will be a bit wait. Due to the miscommunication the order was wrong . However the food was amazing , great tasting and very fresh ! I would come back again and order fish here! I gave three starts because we waited nearly one hour for our food and they told us cash only because machine was broken . While we waited for our food , I saw someone used the machine and it was fine .

This spot quickly became my favorite spot to be at in Aruba. First of all I love the clean beachfront that they have. Also chair rental is very reasonable and you don’t need umbrellas because you have Thatched Palapas everywhere. I had both lunch and dinner here and it was amazing. At 5:00 they set up tables on the beach close to the water for dinner. It instantly becomes a very romantic experience. The food is really good and between the service and the atmosphere you couldn’t ask for more. If you are in Aruba this is a must see destination on your trip.

Everything was great. Food is delicious, ribeye steak with the asparagus and mushrooms was amazing. The watermelon salad was delicious, nice size portions, worth the price $$, the atmosphere is great. Very relaxing and romantic, watch the sun set. Great place.

Passions On The Beach is an incredible dining experience! The atmosphere is absolutely magical. We went for dinner and received phenomenal service from start to finish. The complimentary champagne was such a thoughtful touch, and the food was excellent — especially the salmon!

We always make it a point to have dinner here when in Aruba. The food is good and consistent and the sunset is beautiful. Its nice being out on the beach hearing the waves and seeing the sailboats go by. The service has always been good and its great because the kids can still play in the sand as the adults finish their drinks. Last night they had an amazing electric guitarist playing nice music.

Our first and one of our best dining experiences during our visit to Aruba! Absolutely stunning, romantic oceanside setting with seating right on the lovely Eagle Beach, which has one of the best sunset views on the Island. And unlike Flying Fishbone whereby the beautiful setting is unfortunately not matched by the food, Passions puts as much tender loving care on your plate as they do on your other senses. Friendly, attentive service, delicious appetizers and seafood, and a must try key lime pie for desert (coming from someone who normally doesn't even like key lime pie). Believe the hype when it comes to Passions By The Beach!

Family of four reservation for Sunday at 5:45pm sat on beach. Food was fine, but overrated in my NY based opinion. I expected more and better given the other reviews. Bring bug repellent as they feast on you once it becomes dark.

Food and service was amazing! We had Artichoke Carpaccio as an appetizer and it was very tasty. Outdoor seating across from the beach. There was a fan above our table which kept us cool. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu items and gave recommendations based on our interest. Dessert was cooked at the table. Great experience!

We visited the Screaming Eagle on the first night of our honeymoon to Aruba. The food was spectacular and we loved the atmosphere. Moreso than both of those - we had such a great time with Arminda. She made lots of great local recommendations, brought us a special “Happy Honeymoon” dessert, and introduced us to the Aruba Ariba. She was so much fun!! If you make a reservation (which we highly recommend), request Arminda!!

We ate here last week and sat right away because we had a standing reservation. The vibe has definitely changed since my last visit a couple of years ago, where it is now looking like a large family style restaurant as opposed to the more intimate setting it was the last time we ate here. I asked the server what I should choose for my appetizer between the bisque and the fried brie with berry compote. She declared to get the brie with berry compote, so I ordered that. In the interim the bread was brought out to us. The server had told us the bread is amazing so my expectations were high. However, the bread was toasted and cold and the butter was also cold. See attached picture. Definitely, not what I expected for "amazing bread". Next, my appetizer and my partners salad arrived. My appetizer (the brie with berry compote) looked pretty, but once I took a bite, it was not pretty anymore. It literally tasted like vomit. The server asked me how I liked it and I told her it was not for me. The manager immediately came over to us and she asked me specifically what I did not like about it, and I had to tell her the truth. It really tasted horrible. About 3 minutes later, my partner found a caterpillar in his salad. Yes... a caterpillar. He asked for the manager to come over and she did promptly. We offered to pay for our food, but she declined and offered apologies. Again, very nice staff, but terrible food. The icing on the cake was when we were home at the airport getting our luggage and another traveler recognized us from the night before at the restaurant and wanted to know our story because they waited hours for their food to the point they finally just asked for it 'to go'. Once eaten, they said the food was terrible. This place used to be a gem, but now it's just like a terrible Chili's. Oh, I also forgot, I was going to order the lobster, but a 13 oz lobster at Market Price there was $129... Meanwhile, Market Price for lobster in Aruba is approximately $14.00. That's robbery. These other reviews must be fake because there is no way the food is good there.

Arminda was a wonderful server that kept us laughing. The restaurant has great service and makes sure all of your needs are met including checking for allergies upon arrival and offering to get us a taxi after. The food was delightful and several items were prepared right in front of us at the table! Truly something worth experiencing in Aruba.

Incredible Service from Jimmy! We had an amazing dining experience at Screaming Eagle, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Jimmy. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations and ensured that everything was perfect throughout the evening. Jimmy struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness—he genuinely made us feel welcome and taken care of. Complements to the chef for the amazing food. Great cigar and old fashion at the end and talking to the owner to finish our dinner experience. If you’re dining at Screaming Eagle, ask for Jimmy—you won’t be disappointed!

Let me start with how lovely all the staff was from start to finish. Food was excellent, our waitress Charlene had some great recommendations and answered all of our questions. Overall a great experience. My only complaint was when the bill came. My husband had two old fashions not with expensive bourbon by any means. They charged $55 each!!!! Absolutely felt totally ripped off! We live near NYC and they don’t even charge that. And to boot the bourbon alone was 50 and because they made it into an old fashion they add addition 5$. Very disappointing.

What a lovely experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The lobster was sweet and delicious. The lobster bisque and clam chowder were hot and delicious. I didn't have a drink 🍷 but my friend's drink was tasty. The place is HUGE and there was a lady singing who had an amazing voice. Service was on point. I would highly recommend this place and will be returning.

We ate dinner at Aqua Grill on Thurs, October 17, 2024. We were a party of 8. Service seemed slow based on the number of staff present in the restaurant. One in our party ordered a half pound of the King Crab Legs as a meal. Very Disappointing!! They were over cooked and the pieces were what I call small/scrub type pieces. Recognizing that most everything in Aruba is expensive (this was our 3rd trip), the King Crab was way over priced at $130/lb, especially given the type pieces served which included a knuckle of all things. When I expressed my concern to the manager he did not seem to care. That said, all others did say their meals were good. And while we had varying experiences, this restaurant will not be in the list of places to dine on our next trip back to Aruba.

I was a bit skeptical since the rating was a 4.2. I’m was pleasantly surprised. The food and service were excellent. The servers were very attentive and always made sure our glasses stayed full. I ordered the skirt steak (cooked medium) and it was so tender. The chimichurri was the best! A bit pricey for the three of us for dinner and desert with no alcohol. The price for our dishes was $$$$. $ = Inexpensive, usually $10 and under. $$ = Moderately expensive, usually between $10-$25. $$$ = Expensive, usually between $25-$45. $$$$ = Very Expensive, usually $50 and up.

Lovely place. Very spacious. Service was great. Nora was a wonderful waitress and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. Her suggestions and the reason for her suggestions were great. The only negative was that the Caribbean seafood chowder was only lightly seasoned. We had the tuna medium rare and that was well seasoned. Absolutely delicious The lobster stuffed with crab meat was spot on The yellow fin tuna was well seasoned Will do this again

I must start with the impeccable service. Everyone was so welcoming and courteous. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Gonzalo. His upbeat personality, knowledge of the menu, and island information/tips for my party was a treasure. The West Indian fish cakes, West Indian curried shrimp, grilled salmon, and the fisherman’s platter were all pleasing to our palette! The Red Snapper is delicious grilled and fried. I look forward to returning again next year! The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner, girls night out or for an intimate family dinner.

I’ve been eating at this place for some years now and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly, service is good and food is delicious! As starters we had the tuna tartar and the lobster salad which were both great and as the entree we had the Cioppino which was super delicious. To finish it off we had the coconut flan as desert and also had some wine and cocktails. I definitely recommend anyone to come if you love seafood! But there are other options as well if you don’t.

This place is outrageously expensive. With that said, it’s some of the better seafood we had on the island. The appetizers weren’t great. The plank salmon was very good though. Chilean sea bass was pretty good too. Service however was practically non-existent especially considering what you’re paying to eat there. I normally tip well over 20% but actually felt a bit robbed with the 15% service charge they tack on the bill automatically.

Great place for family dining. Family of 7, we did call for reservations for dinner on a Monday evening and we were easily accommodated. Regular Schnitzels with Mushroom sauce was huge and tasty. Grandson helped gobble it up since he liked the crispy crunchy crust. The Strawberry Banana pancake was completely eaten by my daughter. Drinks were on the small size but our water was quickly refilled. Free parking for the first 3 hours. Kids liked the small Arcade not too faraway in the marketplace to kill some time. There was live entertainment that could be easily seen from their outdoor patio area, singer was good.

This spot came highly recommended, and we completely agree! The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful. The “Norway” (smoked salmon pancake) was so good it’s worth coming back for again and again. My wife also loved the “Seaport Breakfast,” the hashbrowns are the best! This will definitely be one of our go-to breakfast spots whenever we’re on the island.

Family of four and we came here for breakfast twice at 8am (opening). Delicious and fun. The dutch pancakes are great and the variety makes it easy to find something for everyone. Sides were great too. Service was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed this food.

This place is who it says it is. I had this restaurant on my list of must eat places in Aruba and they didn't disappoint. The wait time was maybe 10-15 mins for one person. The waiter asked me what I wanted to drink and left to get it and never brought it. Another waiter checked on me and they got it for me after I sat for awhile with nothing to drink. I ordered a custom dutch pancake of just spinach, onions, and cajun seasoning. With garlic sauce to dip. And I ordered the mini pancakes with cinnamon and hazelnut sauce. Great portion sizes.I was able to eat off my food twice. The birds are not pleasant. They hover,fly low , and get on empty tables when people get up. I also saw a customer fanning one away. It is outside seating. So the earlier you go the better bc it gets very hot outside. I debated eating in my car but I had a fan and the breeze helped.

The Dutch pancakes we ordered were delish. Get the Shanghai pancake. The Norway pancake was good too.. just too much iceberg lettuce! You won’t be disappointed! The food is also reasonably priced! And service was quick

We got there at 10:25am and were seated at 10:54am. Our food was good. I ordered the Caribbean banana ditch pancake and added pineapples. The was so tasty, it wasn't too sweet! My boyfriend ordered the seaport breakfast which was also good. Though we had to stand it a line for almost 30min , the wait went by fairly quickly. The restaurant does a great job with managing the seating process.

Fun food served at an outdoor seating area in a cute shopping center near the ocean and cruise port. Lots of birds hopping around. They didn't bother us too much aside from one dive bombing.

A short walk from the Hyatt, love the location and interior of this restaurant. Make sure to sit in the side that sees the sunset. Great sunset views. Nice and breezy in the main dining room. Fried Calamari was good. Entrees did take awhile so be patient. We did enjoy the Black grouper and red snapper. My daughters loved the Mother Earth bowls.

Whenever we come to Aruba on vacation, we always make sure we have dinner out on the deck over the water at Pelican Nest. The views & sunsets are amazing! Michelle was our server/photographer and she was fabulous! The coconut shrimp 🍤 is a big favorite of mine. Michelle & Mitchell, the chef, made sure we enjoyed all of our dinner, which included the Key Lime Pie for our anniversary! Great customer service! Thank you for making our 50th wedding anniversary a wonderful experience!

My wife and I came here for dinner while on our honeymoon and we loved this spot! Like a lot of places in Aruba, The Pelican Pier has one of the greatest sunset views our dinner that we had the privilege to be our backdrop during dinner. The cocktails were amazing and I highly recommend the charred pineapple one. Hands down the best cocktail I had the whole time in Aruba. The portions here were very generous so if you are someone who doesn't eat a lot I would look to share with someone. It is a simple straight forward menu, no tricks or fancy gimmicks. Overall we cannot recommend this spot enough! Very well done 👍🏽

This was our second trip to Aruba. Even though we stayed at an AI this year, we had to go back to the Pelican’s Nest for the ceviche. They did not disappoint! Hubby had the shrimp Oscar and I had toe fish tacos, everything was outstanding. Miguel our server was great as well, and you can’t beat the view!

This is a casual place but the food is delicious, the ambiance is absolutely beautiful but the most impressive was Duber our waiter… so attentive . Paid attention to detail and anything extra we needed. I would come back for the food for sure… but mostly to be served by Duber… we have been coming here for years and it’s never a miss!

Love being by the water enjoying my meal calm breeze and watching the sunset would a Beautiful experience. Theodora our waitress at Pelican Nest Seafood grill was amazing m, so kind and made sure we were taken care of while we celebrated our anniversary!

Exciting having a vegan only menu at a fish restaurant. The vegan seafood platter had a great range of food such as the watermelon tuna, lychee, and tempura mushrooms. The best bit was the vegan calamari to start with the vegan dressing. Great range of wine and cocktails. Also a prime location on the main strip. There was also a noodle soup that we didn’t try and two other vegan mains, if we have time, we would definitely go back to try these.

My meal was fantastic!!! Our team was amazing and made four delicious recommendations. I choose the Whole Red Snapper. I swear my feet were swinging when I ate it, was delicious!

We went for their early bird dinner specials, WOW service, atmosphere and food absolutely amazing. I had the catch of the day, which was grouper and let me say, pan seared and melted in mouth..... We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful breeze. This place is definitely worth going to.

Arrived in Aruba on Saturday, my Wife and I passed by while walking the strip. We took a look at the menu at the sidewalk, looked interesting. I’m pretty fussy…. Let me tell you, honestly was blown away. Flavours were dynamite…. Perfect cook on both our dishes. We had a young man wait on us, definitely took pride in his job…. Was more than happy with the bill. Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

This place was great! Our server was very attentive, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We were not rushed and enjoyed time just talking and enjoying our food. Both indoor and outdoor seating were available. The couple I dined with took advantage of the early bird special and enjoyed both the salad and onion soup. Both ordered the filet which was cooked nicely and accompanied by potatoes and vegetables. I enjoyed the Fish&Chips so much. The fish was perfect, fried with a crispy panko breading and served with a salad and french fries. The tartar sauce was different than I’m used to but delicious and paired perfectly with the fish. The other couple finished with a chocolate sundae served with a golden berry. I highly recommend stopping in for dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you JONATHAN for the mostly good service. He was friendly, but the issue was when I ordered I told him my appetizer was my meal, but he still had it come out before our food. I asked him the put happy birthday on the vegan brownie to go and he placed an order for a separate regular brownie and didn’t make it to go after that. Someone else brought out the birthday brownie and said there weren’t any candles left. Then the couple across from us had a birthday dessert and it had a beautiful sparkling candle come with there’s. I asked Jonathan about it and he said the guy that brought it out made a mistake….. so NOT only didn’t my husband get the full birthday experience I also had to PAY for a dessert I didn’t ask for. All he said was I apologize I’ll go get these brownies to go I forgot, I apologize someone else took out the brownie, I apologize… all these apologies and no proper solutions or recompense for making these mistakes. Normally for these types of errors a server doesn’t get a good tip and as a sign of great customer service you remove the price of the errors YOU make…. Aruba has NOT shown to have 5 star service thus far.

We went to this place for the vegan options and the food was excellent. We had the seafood platter was great, it's a little on the spicier side so keep that in mind if you order it. We also had the portobello with chickpeas and mashed potatoes and it was absolutely amazing, one of the best meals i ever had. The vegan dessert was delicious. The staff is super kind and the ambiance is really nice.

The fish was super fish and the service was excellent. You can definitely tell the spot is a local favorite. Conch fritters were outstanding. The only area for improvement would be the wine options. If you are in Aruba and you are craving fresh Great food, Red Fish is your spot.

Asked locals for a good seafood place and this place was highly recommended. I enjoyed my fish (red snapper) and passion fruit drink not pictured. The lobster and shrimp were decent but would not order that again. Definitely if you want a fresh catch of the day then this is is the place.

I had dinner here and it was an excellent experience. I ordered the red snapper and highly recommend it the flavor and seasoning were perfect. The service was great, and the overall vibe made the evening really enjoyable. Compared to some of the other restaurants on the island, the prices were very reasonable, which made it an even better find. I definitely recommend eating here if you’re in Aruba!

The Red Snapper and Mahi Mahi was delicious and 2 of us split the fish as seen in the photo. I preferred no head on my snapper so they didn't bring it out. Our server Alan was great and very attentive. Our group of 4 loved the food and drinks and reasonably prices. If you're looking for fresh fish and nice atmosphere you should try it.

Delicious fresh fish for our first meal in Aruba. The coleslaw was really good too! We got red snapper and mahi mahi, the mahi mahi tasted like a nice grilled tuna steak and the red snapper was seasoned so flavourfully well.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Opus! Service is top notch and the ambiance was romantic. This spot has the best dinner on the island! The garlic bread with olive oil and balsamic, and the crab cake appetizer were a great start to our meal. My husband got the Grilled Caribbean Seafood Mix for his entree. I got the Chef Caesar's Scampi pasta. Both were amazing! So fresh and tons of flavor!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at OPUS , and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! Esther truly shined as my server, going above and beyond to ensure i had a wonderful time. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she offered fantastic recommendations that perfectly suited my tastes. Esther was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. What stood out the most was her genuine passion for providing excellent service. She took the time to engage with me, sharing stories about the restaurant's signature dishes, which made my dining experience feel personal and special. The food itself was exceptional, but Esther's outstanding service truly elevated our evening. I can't recommend her enough! Celebrated my fiancée’s birthday here. Not only dinner, but a full experience. The staff sang 3 different renditions of happy birthday, provided flan/candle with a decorated plate, and decorated our table all for his birthday! Everyone was so sweet and made you feel like part of their crew while dining here. We enjoyed calamari, soup/salad, sea bass, crab stuffed shrimp, and strawberry cheesecake! Everything was superb, including their margaritas and espresso martinis. Thanks opus for a great night and birthday celebration!! 😊

First, I have to say, the service was outstanding!! The entire team worked together seamlessly. Our waiter was enthusiastic and took the time to explain the menu in great detail, while another gentleman kept drinks topped off and others brought out dishes, refilled water, and even offered to take a photo of my husband and I. Beyond the exceptional service, the food was absolutely delicious. Easily the best meal we’ve had on the island. The grouper and shrimp combo hit the spot and cooked to perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better final meal to end our vacation.

We had an incredible dinner at Opus Aruba to close out our honeymoon. The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful, the red snapper was perfectly cooked, and the seafood feast was a true highlight—fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt special and showcased the best of Aruban seafood. Our server, Kevin, made the evening unforgettable. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care elevated the entire experience and made our last night in Aruba truly memorable.

We had dinner here tonight and cannot get over telling each other what a fabulous meal it was. We consider ourselves a bit of a foodie couple and are always on the lookout for good food. Tonight we were trying not to go too far from our hotel, but wanted something that looked promising. The website boasts seafood that is served within 24 hours of being received and I knew we had to try it. We were greeted by the host who directed us to another host who seated us. They got us set up with water, sparkling or tap, and then our waiter Marlon came over. He guides us to our drink orders after very accurately guessing exactly what we would like. And we ordered the melon and prosciutto crudo. Simple ingredients just done exceptionally well. Drinks came out, looking and tasting fabulous. Marlon asked if we'd like a picture together and if this man didn't go out of his way, I don't know what he did. We got multiple angles, he helped clear up the table for a better shot, and the prompts were both funny and made for great pictures. The food came out divine. Hubby got the red snapper filet special with shrimp and I had the filet mignon. Steak was cooked perfectly, he said the fish was absolutely delicious. By the time dessert rolled around, Marlon had been sat a few more tables, but the two hosts I mentioned earlier were on top of things checking on us, asking if everything was good, topping up waters, clearing dishes. Dessert for us was cheesecake, his favorite dessert, and the chocolate lava cake. While the gelato was down he managed to scrounge me up a hazelnut frosted brownie to go with it and that was delicious as well. The atmosphere, and teamwork this place has going on is great and I can honestly say I am not sure I have ever had a better meal, or better service. Thank you to Marlon and the rest of the team!

Favorite new restaurant in Aruba. Fizz and Manny were the absolute best and made the experience incredible. Food, service, drinks and vibes were perfection!!! Can’t recommend enough.

We tried Taste My Aruba for the first time last night. We experienced fabulous service & delicious food. We ordered three different dishes, but our favorite was the Lobster Pasta. We also enjoyed a slice of carrot cake to finish our meal. Before leaving, we made reservations to come the last night of our trip because this was our favorite restaurant on our trip! I would highly recommend making a reservation!

What an amazing find for our last night in Aruba. The service was amazing Glen was attentive and accommodating, the chef was one of the best I’ve ever seen. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The food was 10 out of 10. We had a group of 10 and every single meal was amazing.

Nice setting and friendly service, but not worth the price Went to Taste My Aruba with two friends. The staff was friendly and we were helped right away, which was a good start. We shared a few appetizers that were actually really tasty – no complaints there. The main course, however, was a bit of a letdown. I had the lobster with black pasta – the most expensive dish on the menu – but the lobster was a bit dry and lacked flavor. One of my friends had the daily special and was also only mildly enthusiastic about it. The restaurant has a cute little courtyard and plenty of indoor seating as well, which gives it a nice atmosphere. Overall, it was a decent experience, but for the price, I don’t think it quite delivered.

The BEST meal we had in Aruba!! Ambience was incredible, staff was super attentive and friendly, and food was the best meal we had our whole trip. As someone who has a gluten allergy it can be hard to find delicious meals but there were multiple gf options as well! Can not recommend enough, if you are in Aruba you HAVE TO come here!

The atmosphere and ambiance is outstanding. The food was given a four-star rating versus a five-star rating because they were missing several key dishes on the menu that we specifically wanted.

Incredible place in the heart of Oranjestad! Elevated local cuisine served in a beautiful traditional house with an even more beautiful garden where they grow their own herbs they use in drinks. Fantastic staff and an overall incredible experience. A must go during every visit to Aruba.

My sister-n-law called and reserved a table for 10. We arrived and saw through the opened doors a beautiful space with a table set for 10, above it a beautiful chandelier and ceiling fan, and Latin music playing at just the right volume to enjoy it without it interfering with conversation. Glen kept our water glasses full and the drinks (alcoholic) flowing. The food, all 10 dishes, (cooked by ONE chef) was served at the same time, hot and exactly how we ordered it. We gave the chef and staff a standing ovation!!!!!! They were so appreciative. Don’t visit Oranjestad without visiting this gem!!!

Nothing out of the ordinary. Pretty much your typical lunch spot / bar. What's different? For starters, your right on a beautiful beach ⛱️🏖️. The view doesn't get much better than that. Secondly, the staff is super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely nice. 👍👍 The food was nothing to write home about but I did enjoy it nonetheless. I had myself the Island Burger 🍔. Prices were a bit high but at least they give decent size portions. Keep in mind it is a part of the Hilton Resort & Casino, hence the prices. Like I said the view and staff make it worth a visit.

Service was just ok but food is not good! Quality was very poor. Pork In pork Bao was supper dry and impossible to bite into. Octopus seemed like it was precooked and just warmed up before serving. Yuka fries were also very dry , possibly overcooked. ( all Yuka fries are a bit dry but these were bad). Lobster tail was extremely overcooked to the point of being rubbery. Seems like they forgot an item we order. It was brought way after we were done and we had to remind them we have not gotten it. ( place as not busy , just inattentive staff)

Inside the Hyatt hotel property, this outdoor bar serves the best frozen drinks. Pair with tacos and you are set. Staff is super friendly. Great place to hang out after a day on the beach. It’s my go to every night fri a frozen Pina Colada

At the Hilton. For hotel food is is definitely above average. The fish tacos had multiple fish pieces. Others in family had Johnny’s snapper, trio of burgers and pizza. All enjoyed their food.

Service was great. Food was delicious. A bit pricy- $18 for a burger- but portions were pretty big. Just feet away from the beach.

This place has super affordable pastechis and drinks (water & soda is all I purchase here). The service is always friendly, and the food is always delicious! I’ve been going there for over 10 years, and it’s always the same good quality food. Please give them a try. You won’t regret it!

Amazing restaurant. The pastechis cost $2 USD each and they are kept in a warmer. They have spicy garlic sauce that you can get with them that is a must try. Would highly recommend this spot as the pastechis here are my favorite out of the 5+ other spots we tried. They taste like a chalupa and empanada mixed and are filled with different things. The parking is a bit tricky to get to. Just route to the bazaar building near it and there is a parking area right in front of the pastechi house across the "main street" which is just sort of a path for trolleys

Just a quick grab and go shop . We bought cheese and chop suey (vegetarian) paste chilies 3 time on our 10 day trip and it was great! Before we headed to airport, that morning we got the freshest and they were delicious!!

Absolutely loved this place. Small, cute and welcoming. An extremely nice gentleman was taking orders. I absolutely loved their crab cakes. I had to keep going back for more! They have a few sauces I recommend. Their garlic, their hot and their curry, in that order. I also really enjoyed their beef croquette. Everything was perfect and affordable!

As recommended by many you have to try pastechi when you are in Aruba, so we did. We went there to have them for breakfast as they don't qualify for a full lunch and are similar to pastries we have in Greece for breakfast. We got 4 types, cheese, ham and cheese, samosa and spanakopita and then a dedito which is basically similar to a mozzarella stick but feels "healthier" (not really just feels that way :p) from the pastechi, the samosa tasted more like a samosa but the spanakopita, while good, could not compare to a Greek spanakopita. It was good, just that it has to compare to a dish I know well. My favorite was the plain cheese one. Nice breakfast that was fast and cheap. Will definitely go back for another visit before we leave our vacation here.

Liked it! Tried pastechi for the first time and they were really good. I ordered 3 of them, chicken, beef and Indian samosa. There are many others on the menu but they were out of most of them, so the choices were a little more limited. One person takes you order and the other person in the back seems to do all the prep work. I took almost 20 minutes to get what looked to be pre-made pastechi. However, they are good with a soft middle and a light crunch on the outside. The filling inside is very finely chopped meat. Because there isn't much filling, you should order more than what you think you need. I ordered three and probably could have eaten five more.

I must’ve came here on the dead season because the whole area I only seen about 3-5 people around, besides the people I wouldn’t make this a must stop to eat one of these that they sell all around the island. The pastechi tasted ok the dough tasted the best and the server didn’t even ask if we wanted any sauces on the side.

The paella was delicious. The pan bati was so good. The catch of the day barracuda was cooked so well. The service was fast and great. I would highly recommend.

If in this area, I'd recommend stopping here. Live music and fresh catch fish. If on the menu for the day, order the blackened barracuda. I ordered it and my waitress replied saying she gets it everytime. It's a white fish and they cook it to perfection. We also tried their cerviche, shrimp cocktail, and mahi mahi. They do have a lunch and dinner hour with a break in between. To avoid a wait, I'd recommend getting there at the open dinner hour. All of it was wonderful, staff included. Would come here again for sure.

We certainly almost missed this place nestled in with all of the other over-profiled restaurants. The fisherman‘s hat has some of the best fish and seafood dishes that literally come from the sea, and I brought to your table by the fisherman. We’ve never seen or had barracuda before, and so we tried it, and the fish was well seasoned and well cooked. Skip all of the other places on that strip, come somewhere local and Support this business.

Ordered the Paella and was very surprised by how good it was! The atmosphere was real nice as well. Finished it off with a passion fruit cheesecake. Highly recommend!

Food was good! Service exceptional and staff were really nice!! I had the catch of the day with grilled shrimp and gold leaf wedge salad. Both were delicious . It was also my birthday and they sang for me and gave me brownies and ice cream. They made my bday dinner special.

We ate here our first night in Aruba. It wasn't far from our hotel. And not very busy. Overall food was delicious but seemingly overpriced for the amount you get. We ordered just water initially and the house or tap water had little flecks of something in it. They replaced our glasses and everything and same thing again, they mentioned possibly from the ice maker. They gave us bottled water in the end, on the house. The rest of the evening was great. We had a little entertainment during dinner as they had a aerial performance. What are the chances??!! Our waiter also gave us several recommendations on things to do/see in Aruba. From bars to beaches to things to see on the island. Sooo helpful & nice!!

Catch is a true gem! Jeff, the owner, clearly pours his heart into this place, and it shows. Our server, William, was outstanding—he explained every dish and cocktail with care and made the experience feel truly special. The food was gourmet-level, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Last night, my husband and I stumbled upon a hidden culinary treasure near Eagle Beach – Catch Restaurant. The restaurant seamlessly blended indoor intimacy with the breezy charm of its outdoor patio, offering a setting to match any mood. The music created a vibrant atmosphere, yet remained subtle enough for easy conversation. Adding to the magic, we learned they feature live entertainment on select nights. We began with a delightful exploration of their cocktail menu. I enthusiastically recommend the Key Lime Pie Martini, particularly with the slight modification of a lighter simple syrup – a testament to the bartender's skill and willingness to personalize each drink. The resulting flavor and presentation were truly exceptional. The Watermelon Caipiroska offered a vibrant, refreshing compliment. Even before our main courses arrived, we were completely won over by the appetizers. The Sashimi shooters were an unbelievable —bursts of fresh, perfectly balanced flavor. The calamari was extraordinary, the batter was light and crispy. And the ceviche? Fabulous combination of fresh fish and citrus, some of the best I’ve had! Additionally my husband tried the seafood soup, a rich and creamy red broth with tender shrimp and succulent fish. Fabulous! Definitely a must try for those who love seafood. For the main course the "Fish Trio," was wonderful. Three distinct preparations of the freshest catch of the day, each paired with a unique and perfectly complementary signature sauce. While the blackened preparation was my personal favorite, the option to have the sauces served on the side allowed for a complete appreciation of each delicate flavor. We concluded with a decadent shared dessert: a rich chocolate brownie à la mode and a plate of irresistibly crispy fried Oreos – the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal. Throughout the evening, our server, Darwin, provided impeccable service. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and unobtrusive presence significantly enhanced our experience. Catch Restaurant is a must-visit!

Edwardo was our waiter he was very knowledgeable about the fish choices and compared them to how they would taste. I had the snapper and my husband had the barracuda. They were both excellent. Next time I think I want to try the lemon caper sauce instead of the mustard grain. The brown sauce that went with the potatoes is amazing. Will definitely go back when we visit again. We didn’t have a reservation and we went at 7 PM but you may need one.

We had the pleasure of dining at Catch in Aruba and it instantly became one of our top 5 restaurants on the island. Our waiter, William, delivered exceptional service—attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. My fiancé ordered the lobster thermidor—his first time trying it—and it was absolutely out of this world. Rich, perfectly prepared, and unforgettable. I went with the spicy vodka rigatoni with wagyu ground beef, and it was just as delicious—comforting with a refined twist. We’re so glad we stumbled upon this gem. Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Aruba—you won’t be disappointed!

Food was great highly recommend although the portion are not that great but hey we got to control our portions, and price are pretty decent you most try the mint lemonade 🥰❤️won’t regret

1st time at Grand Fish for us. We were pleasantly impressed with the service & food. We got there about 8:00 pm, no reservation. It was humid out, but we got to sit in the air-conditioning & a good DJ. Maritza Acosta was our server, and she was excellent. Took our drink order (which were delicious) explained the specials, helped me with menu items (describing them) May have been out 1st time there but won't be the last.

The food was absolutely delicious. They gave us some cornbread with cheese at the beginning, which was fresh. We ate the paella and the garlic shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. Real lemonade and the drinks were very good too. The flan was very traditional and home cooked. The flan was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it. I would definitely go back. It was a beautiful restaurant that was decorated as a ship with the beachy vibes. I would definitely go back.

We visited Grand Fish Aruba yesterday for Mother’s Day without a reservation, and while we didn’t expect instant service, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were seated out back, which was fine—but after we placed our order, we waited over 45 minutes with no updates, no water refills, and no acknowledgment from the staff at all. What made it worse was that the inside of the restaurant didn’t appear busy, so there was really no clear reason for the long wait or lack of attention. After nearly an hour with no communication, we got up and left. Mother’s Day is a special occasion, and sadly, The Grand Fish failed to deliver even the basics of hospitality. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

The Grand Fish was a great choice! I ate there solo because I was excited for the whole snapper. It definitely did not disappoint. The only downside was that I chose it to be fried so it would take about 15 minutes( at least that’s what the waiter told me) but it took much longer than that. It was worth the wait to me. The plantains were also very tasty. My waiter was great and attentive.

I've been to Aruba five times and this food was the best I've ever tasted. The next time I come back I will be bringing my husband.
