Piazza Tasso is the heart of Sorrento, a picturesque town square surrounded by charming cafes and restaurants. The square features a Baroque-style church and a statue of Sainte Antonino Abbate. It serves as the center of the town's grid pattern, with Corso Italia being the main thoroughfare lined with fashionable stores and boutiques. Parallel to this bustling street are historic lanes filled with artisanal workshops, local restaurants, and cafes.

Museums
Museo Correale di Terranova is located in the heart of Sorrento, housed within the Palazzo Correale, a historical 18th-century villa. The museum showcases an extensive collection of art and artifacts across three floors and 24 rooms, with additional exhibition space in the attic.
A serene oasis in the heart of lively Sorrento! The Museo Correale di Terranova is wonderfully quiet, with only a few visitors wandering through its elegant halls. The collection of antiques is stunning—a graceful tribute to the legacy of the Medici and Correale families. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the bustling shops, restaurants, and traffic outside.
Tarah N — Google review
An excellent private collection given to the town. The archaeological rooms were closed when I visited but very much enjoyed the mainly 19th paintings of Sorrento and Naples and wished it looked more like that now rather than the present day chaos with the traffic and tourists. Some beautiful views from the villa across the Bay of Naples. You'll spend about an hour here.
Chris J — Google review
The grounds are beautiful and the archeological movie is the basement gave me some great perspective on what I was seeing around the town. If you follow the path all the way to the end you end up on a terrace of a very expensive hotel - Grand Hotel Ambasciatori Sorrento ($1,300€/night). Guess that view alone might be worth the $15€ admission each. The art and furniture displays are interesting but after everywhere we have been it's not really comparable to other options in the general area. No pictures of the art, furniture and collectibles displays as they ask that you don't take pictures.
Brian H — Google review
It's okay, it's a nice museum but hard to see the value for money here. 15 euros was quite a lot for very little. I would say that the marquetry on the furniture is amazing and it's good to see the historical furniture on show. The painting exhibition wasn't particularly well lit so we didn't feel that it was a pleasant experience overall.
Stephen K — Google review
Great place to see and learn about the origins of the city. It wont take much time to visit.
Richard R — Google review
You will need time to go through this Museum, which is a short walk from the Town centre. It has a very large collection of paintings, furniture, clocks and ceramics. Sadly there were few translations in English, except in the section on the excavations of Sorrento. However, one member of staff on watch, who spoke English, was really helpful when we came across an exquisite "multipurpose" ladies dressing table. Dore was really knowledgeable and told us so much about this interesting piece of furniture. The Correale has engaging gardens and grounds with pathways leading to a lovely cafe area overlooking the sea, though the cafe was shut when we were there.
Amy — Google review
Fascinating eclectic exhibitions of art and furniture in a fine old building that is now sadly quite neglected, as are the gardens. The entrance charge is quite high in comparison to far better museum/galleries. Nevertheless, an interesting visit providing an insight to the region's history.
Rent M — Google review
Beautiful exhibits detailing the vivid history of the region. For 8 Euros a person, this museum is a must if you're visiting Sorrento. Top it off with a leisurely stroll through their gorgeous garden - you will not regret it!

Night club
Located in the heart of Sorrento town on Piazza Tasso, Fauno Notte Club is a late-night dance club popular with both locals and tourists. The venue offers a vibrant atmosphere with a mix of DJ music and traditional Tarantella shows, catering to a more mature clientele. The interior boasts stylish red sofas and secluded booths, attracting a lively crowd for an evening of dancing and entertainment.
I mean, for the only nightclub in town, it's pretty decent. It plays top 40 from the 90s onward and some techno beats. People of all ages and backgrounds, that's the good part. And it was entertaining to say the least. Cocktails are pricey for amount of alcohol, but that's to be expected.
Karen B — Google review
The WORST experience ever. We were trying to leave the club and the bouncer got physically aggressive with my entire group and would not let us leave no matter what we said. We eventually had to find a manager of sorts who let us out but the bouncer was still absolutely terrible to us and it was a very scary experience. We clarified multiple times we weren’t going to try to re-enter and they were still absolutely atrocious to us. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! There’s pretty much only children and it’s not worth not being able to exit.
Annie C — Google review
One of the worst experiences at a club ever. We paid 20 euro to get in and then when we wanted to leave the bouncer shoved us multiple times and shooed us telling us to go back down. I do not recommend this place at all. If I could give a 0/5 I would
Kaylee M — Google review
We should have known from the reviews, but this night club is horrible. We were targeted and attacked physically by the security guards friends. We then tried to leave the club and we were followed and attacked multiple times down the street. They had 4 males beating 1 girl at one point. They then followed us home and stole our belongings. Please never ever go here!!!!
Neeve M — Google review
This is an absolutely terrible night club , we received the worst experience imaginable. We came here after a wedding to the staff being out of line and being very abusive towards the customers and to us personally , we felt judged and felt like we could not enjoy ourselves due to how they where looking and acting towards us. Later on they kicked out my 50 year old relative and they were ageist and rough towards him and left him bruised up the arms and legs and left him very embarrassed. I myself watched this happened and was very annoyed and disappointed as I cared a lot about this relative and he has been traumatised since. Not under any circumstance you should go to this club.
Kate M — Google review
My recent experience with Fauno Notte Club was beyond disappointing. As an eager patron, I was looking forward to a fun night out with friends. However, the club's discriminatory actions left a bitter taste in my mouth. Upon arrival, I was shocked to find myself being denied entry without any valid reason. The bouncer at the door exhibited a rude and dismissive attitude, providing no explanation for refusing me entry. I witnessed others being allowed inside who appeared to meet the same criteria I did, which made the situation even more perplexing. It was disheartening to see that Fauno Notte Club was seemingly biased in their admission process. The lack of transparency and professionalism displayed by the staff was completely unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected fair treatment and equal opportunities to enjoy the establishment like anyone else. The experience left me feeling excluded, humiliated, and frustrated. It's disheartening to encounter such discrimination in this day and age. The management of Fauno Notte Club needs to reassess their policies and ensure that all potential customers are treated fairly and without prejudice. I cannot recommend Fauno Notte Club to anyone who values inclusivity and fairness. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, especially one that claims to offer a vibrant nightlife experience. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out venues that prioritize equality and respect for their patrons.
Jay P — Google review
We went there on Friday night (June 10) when party was supposed to be on fire Drinks were ok,BUT the Dj was the worst. All the people in the club were in their 20’s and the song that dj played was only form 80-90’s,DJ was ignoring any song requests or signs for other songs …. He just played what he had prepared, everyone was just standing or leaving that place ,we were super disappointed…
Anna K — Google review
This was the worst club I’ve ever been to. We went there as a group of 50 adults. We danced, drank, and did not cause a single problem. The bouncer yelled at several of us, and touched several of the girls trying to “pull them out” of the club. It was absolutely disgusting. I do not leave negative reviews, but I would be remiss if I did not share my experience.

Fauno Bar is a vibrant and iconic establishment located in the heart of Piazza Tasso, Sorrento. Since 1950, it has been a popular spot for both locals and tourists seeking traditional Italian pastries, hearty breakfasts, coffee, cocktails, and Neapolitan pasta and pizza. The outdoor seating area offers a perfect vantage point for people-watching and soaking up the lively atmosphere of Sorrento.
Amazing place to eat! 🍝🍕 The atmosphere is lively and perfectly located in the heart of the square. The food was beyond delicious — everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully served. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and gave great recommendations on what to try. It’s the perfect spot for a nice dinner or just to relax with a drink and enjoy the view. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento! Gnocchi Sorrentina – A local specialty! Soft gnocchi baked in tomato sauce and mozzarella — simple but heavenly. The main square of Sorrento, right in the heart of the city — surrounded by shops, cafés, and beautiful views of the lively streets.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an absolutely delightful dining experience in Sorrento! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and attention — greeted at the waiting area with a refreshing glass of prosecco, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The street view was great. The food was simply outstanding. The lamb was one of the softest I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and slipping effortlessly off the bone. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the spaghetti was bursting with authentic Italian flavor. Service was impeccable -quick, attentive without being intrusive — and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. We ended our meal with a complimentary liquori, the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable evening. Decently priced for the quality and experience, this place truly captures the heart and soul of Sorrento dining. Highly recommend! 🍷✨

Without a doubt, Fauno Bar and Restaurant was a wonderful choice during our short stay in Sorrento. We enjoyed the outside seating, perfect for soaking in the lively atmosphere of the town. We ordered a Margherita pizza, gnocchi, and linguine vongole—each dish was absolutely delicious, full of fresh flavors and perfectly cooked. Although we had been warned that some restaurants might charge extra for certain things, Fauno’s service was nothing but professional and pleasant from start to finish. A truly enjoyable dining experience in the heart of Sorrento.

The place is busy and the location is perfect, right on Piazza Tasso. Unfortunately, the food was nothing special for us. The cannelloni were rubbery and the carbonara, although visually appealing, wasn't too flavourful. All in all a decent meal, not too expensive, but a bit on the touristy side. It had alfredo (which is obviously a no go) and the menu was huge and had everything in German and English too.
Daniel B — Google review
Well... as a Canadian who can appreciate the venue where you are at and comparing it to others in the area and not my home country.... this one would be a 5 star in Canada also. First off, beautiful and busy area and fun for crowd watching. What impressed me most is they take care of their locals like royalty.. they see them coming and they greet them and find them a seat and served them like family. I loved this! Shows loyalty and respect. Those guys are gonna be around during slow season. Now for my experience. The service was awesome and fun. They are laughing and smiling while working. You don't see that too often anymore especially in a busy place. They move to serve you and they are on you when they see you need or want something. So happy to see this type of old-school service. The FOOD!! OMG! Everything we had was delicious and plenty of it. It tastes homemade and so good. No one bad food plate. The prices were great too. No issues with pricing.. To top it off... they come bring you the bill with complimentary shots of homemade cherry whiskey type drink. (Shooter) not really sure what it was but it was cold and smoothing. And I don't feel those were hidden in the cost of the food, I truly believe it was a gift of "Thank you " for eating there. Over all, after 2 weeks all over Italy 🇮🇹, my best place to eat. If back to Italy, I will be back here. So delicious..
Vince M — Google review
Enjoyed breakfast there were a few options to chose from. Service was attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is nice for outdoor seating. Just know it is a busy area, right next to a very busy cross walk with some traffic in the nearby intersection. Can be entertaining if you enjoy a busy atmosphere. Our table wasnt near the crowds so it was perfectly acceptable for me.
J R — Google review
Absolutely our favorite dining spot in Sorrento! It has a lovely view from the outside, staff is fast and friendly, and most importantly, the food was outstanding! We ordered tomato bruscetta, the sorrentino gnocchi, and pesto pasta with extra shrimp. The bruscetta was fresh, gnocchi was the best we had in our life! So juicy and full of flavor! Pesto Pasta was fresh, zesty, and with an amazing touch! It was fulfilling and worth more than we were charged. The restroom also was very clean.
Ahmed T — Google review
We stayed in Sorrento for 4 nights recently and had dinner twice here. The atmosphere was perfect for us, situated in the heart of Piazza Tasso where people watching is the main attraction. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. We ordered the Insalata Nizzarasa that came eggs, tuna, olives, onions and potatoes as a starter, and then Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, followed by the best pizza we had ever had! Pizza con salsiccia (sausage) e melanzane (eggplant). Plus ordered a bottle of local red wine (Anglianico Janare Rosso) that was very reasonably priced and so delicious! The second time we went we had to wait for a table but the owner/ host gave us each a glass of prosecco on the house and had us wait in the bar area until our table was ready. Also, the bathrooms are the cleanest I have seen in Italy or anywhere else! The prices were very reasonable and an excellent value. I highly recommend Fauno Bar for drinks and food!

Frankies Bar Pizzeria in Sorrento is a cozy, lively establishment that specializes in authentic Neapolitan pizzas, pasta dishes, and gelato. This casual spot offers a wide selection of traditional pizzas topped with fresh ingredients on a light and fluffy crust. In addition to their pizza offerings, Frankies also serves vegan dishes for those looking for plant-based options. The menu at this pub may be slightly confusing but the friendly owner is always willing to help guests navigate their choices.
We have eaten at Frankie’s pizza bar 3/4 days we’ve been in Sorrento. Delicious pizza which tasty flavours, lots of options for allergies. Takeout is a bonus so quick and easy! Early dinner is key as beats the crowds. Will be recommending to everyone :)
Kira S — Google review
Frankie’s Pizza Bar in Sorrento is an absolute gem! From the moment you arrive, you can tell this place is something special. The food was nothing short of incredible—the technique was spot on, and the quality of the ingredients could be tasted in every dish. We had the arancini, perfectly golden and crisp on the outside with a rich, flavorful filling; the jalapeño poppers are fried to perfection; and finally, a New York–style thin and crispy pepperoni pizza that was simply outstanding. This is Italian-American cuisine done exactly right—classic, bold, and full of flavor. The cocktails were another highlight: balanced, creative, and very refreshing. Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed, the service was quick, and the food arrived much faster than we expected. Even the 15–20 minute wait outside felt completely worth it once the food arrived. And then there’s Frankie himself—the heart and soul of the place. He’s everywhere at once: managing the waiting list, arranging and cleaning tables, and at the same time walking between the guests, making sure everyone is happy, asking if everything tastes good, and spreading great energy all around. His presence adds so much warmth and authenticity, making you feel like you’re not just eating at a restaurant, but being hosted by a friend. Highly recommended—we will definitely be back later on in our trip to Sorrento!
Ido M — Google review
Despite the 20-minute wait, the food was excellent! We really enjoyed sitting on the second floor — the atmosphere was great, and the menu had so many options that everyone could find something they liked. As a group with some vegans and vegetarians in Italy, we were pleasantly surprised by the dedicated vegan menu ,they even had a full page just for vegan dishes!

🍕✨ Frankie’s Pizza Bar Sorrento – Brunch & Vegan Vibes with a Twist Stopped by Frankie’s Pizza Bar in Sorrento and left with mixed feelings—but definitely not hungry. The pizza? Absolutely amazing. Crispy crust, bold flavors, and that perfect balance of sauce and cheese that makes you want to order another round. The French fries were just as impressive—golden, crunchy, and seasoned to perfection. A total win. Now, about the fried chicken panini… it missed the mark. Dry, underwhelming, and lacking the punch you’d expect from a place that nails its other dishes. Hopefully just an off day in the kitchen. 🌱 Bonus points for their vegan options and brunch vibe—great for groups with different tastes. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere had that laid-back Sorrento charm. Would I go back? For the pizza and fries—absolutely. Just skipping the panini next time.
Alex&Slavko D — Google review
Frankie‘s was recommended by a couple of sources to us. They are a full menu but their pizza menu goes on for pages. They also have traditional Italian dishes and plenty of beer and wine to go along. Our mushroom artichoke and ham pizza was delicious. We thought we’re gonna take some Home but we need eating the whole thing along with a wonderful Greek salad. The chocolate almond cake for dessert was incredible with a scoop of gelato. The staff was very friendly and spoke by English, even though we could communicate with Italian. All in all a wonderful hole in the wall with indoor outdoor and garden seating.

Great pizza spot in Sorrento! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is lively and fun. Lines get long after 7PM, so go early or be ready to wait. We tried the most popular pizza, it did not disappoint, along with lemon pepper fries (excellent!) and a fantastic grapefruit soda. Worth the visit!

Loved my experience here! Was definitely the best restaurant I tried in sorrento. The line moves fast, so don’t worry about standing for a long time. Service was a 10/10. Menu was outstanding! The cheesecake alone was the best I’ve had in my entire life. Obviously their food (pizza, pasta , sandwiches) are fantastic too. Many many gluten friendly options. Ambience is soooo cool as well. And the owner is a great guy. GO GO GO

Nestled at the edge of Sorrento, Bagni Regina Giovanna is a captivating destination that combines history with natural beauty. A leisurely 35-40 minute walk leads you to the remnants of an ancient Roman villa, where you'll discover a stunning hidden cove. This secluded spot features a natural archway through which crystal-clear waters flow into a tranquil pool, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking solace away from crowded beaches.
A local who lives in the U.S. now recommend this spot to us. It took a bus and a 15 minute walk, but it was our second best day in Sorrento. It was busy, but not packed. A few tourists but a lot of locals. We felt like locals. We bought sandwiches in town, wine, and made a day of it. Highly recommend! Be respectful and take your trash out.
Zach — Google review
Beautiful spot. About a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The path is manageable, but the final steps down to the water can be a bit tricky—especially if you're wearing flip-flops. Overall, definitely worth a visit for a refreshing swim in a unique setting.
Giorgos A — Google review
Bagni della Regina Giovanna is an interesting spot with beautiful views and a natural swimming pool carved into the rock. The place itself is picturesque and unique. The best way is to take a bus from Sorrento and then walk about 15 minutes to reach the beach. In the high season, it gets very crowded, which makes it hard to fully enjoy. Worth visiting once for the views and history, but not a place I would rush back to.
Kamil O — Google review
Beautiful swimming spot easily accessible by a the 008 bus (€2 per person) from Sorrento center and then a short 10-15 minute walk down from the bus stop. The walk isn’t strenuous or too inclined, and is manageable in flip flops. Be aware that there isn’t much of a beach but you can find a couple flat rocks to relax on. We found it super crowded with people coming down the stairs but not having anywhere to sit at the bottom, creating a lot of congestion. Maybe it’s better to go earlier in the morning when the masses haven’t arrived. Once you’re in, you can swim through the ancient archway through to the ocean side of the swimming hole. You can do some cliff jumping here; it’s probably about 10 meters high. The day we went there was a lot of surge so some trash was washing through into the ‘beach’ side so we preferred drifting on the ocean side a lot more. Near the cliff jumping spot are a couple leveled places to lie down and sun tan or picnic with a great view of the cliffs of Sorrento! Enjoy and remember to buy some water at the shop at the beginning of the path down to the beach, there aren’t any shops, toilets or facilities down there.
Sam B — Google review
The most gorgeous place I have ever been to, we walked an hour to get there quite a rocky walk but every second was worth it. Strongly recommend, can see fish under the water, very salty water, able to swim under the cove. Beautiful.
Nicola P — Google review
A kind of natural swimming pool with a passage connected to the sea. There are not much space can be used as beach/shore. The rocks can be used for your towels or bags. Kayaking and scuba diving daily tours also visit here, so it is not a hidden gam but worth to go and swim. Thera are walking paths to other rocky beaches around the area. An interesting place to visit and swim. There is bus from Sorrento center. If you go by your own car, there is car park at the beginning of the path to the seaside. Car park can be full if you are late.
Sezin H — Google review
You can take a swim or just hike around. I preferred the sunset. Getting there was easy. If you prefer swimming, make sure you bring all of towels, food, and drinks with you. It was crowded, but a great experience. Heading back to Sorrento was annoying as no taxi was available. Either call a taxi or ride the crowded bus.
Mohammad N — Google review
Really cool spot, calm waters inside the cove then great views outside. Wasn't too busy when we went either. Can imagine I gets busy in summer so choose a quiet time to go

Chiostro di San Francesco, a serene 14th-century monastery located near Villa Comunale in Sorrento, holds a rich history dating back to ancient settlements and pagan temples. Once an important religious and administrative center, it now hosts classical music concerts and serves as a wedding venue. The nearby Magi House Relais offers various accommodations and amenities just minutes away from the cloister. Visitors can also enjoy the famous local lemon-based liquor, widely used in culinary creations throughout Campania.
What an unforgettable place to visit in Sorrento, Italy. This is a perfect example of what a cloister looks like in Sorrento. A beautiful covered walkway and a gorgeous church with one nave and six chapels. There are many weddings here and the location is amazing.

A gorgeous sanctuary and beautiful place to get married. Hannah & Jordan has an intimate ceremony hidden from the bustling streets before jumping on a boat at the harbour below and speeding off to Positano, I'll never forget how much fun it was to capture!

Went in Mid August. Such a peaceful place beautifully preserved, with its mix of medieval, Gothic, and Arabic arches. Entrance is free too.

In love. If you go further down to the left of the main doors to the church you can escape the hustle of Sorrento beachgoers. It's currently undergoing refurbishments upstairs so I wasn't able to see the swing or view, but it was still so worth it. So peaceful and absolutely lovely.

Wow! What an amazing find! The grounds are very nice. The art exhibit on the second floor was amazing! A local photographer's (Raffaele Celentano) b&w photos are incredible, especially the Mother Theresa section. The views from the building are the best in the entire city! Also, the price of admission to the art exhibit was only 5€!

A beautiful place, not obviously sign posted to look for the entrance to the area. We also visited a beautiful photo gallery at the top of the terrace with breathtaking views of Sorrento. There was an admission charge of €5 to the gallery but it was well worth it for the experience of the wonderful photos and the views.

Such a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony! As a wedding photographer, I get to travel around Europe visiting some of the most best wedding venues. The cloisters is truly unique and a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony before choosing a local venue like Villa Antiche Mura for your wedding reception. Highly recommended.

Basilica Sant'Antonino is a centuries-old church located in Sorrento, Italy. Its Romanesque facade and grand nave with marble pillars and frescoes make it a sight to behold. The basilica's origins date back to the 11th century when it was built on the remains of a 9th-century oratory dedicated to Saint Antonino, the city's patron saint.
Stayed at an Airbnb right in the Square... excellent location to see it all within walking distance to restaurants, beach and ferry..

Quiet church with old paintings. St Antonio is a patron of sailors, fishermen and travelers. There are nice sea and sailoring themes inside. Don't forget to go downstairs near altar to pay visit to st Antonio himself. Must see if you consider traveller yourself. Free entry.

A beautiful church located quite in the city center of Sorrento. If you're visiting Sorrento during the summertime, there are A LOT of weddings that are held in this gorgeous basilica, so that's also a nice addition if you get a chance to take part in one.

If you're looking for a lively night out in Sorrento, Shot Bar Sorrento is the ultimate destination. This vibrant bar boasts an impressive selection of over 200 unique shots, including fun syringe options that add a playful twist to your experience. The atmosphere is electric, with great music and a small dance area that attracts a youthful crowd eager to let loose. Even if you can't make it inside, keep an eye out for their roving beer bike mini-bar cruising through town!
Hands down one of the best nights I had in Italy. Shot Bar in Sorrento is an unforgettable experience—fun, friendly, and full of energy. The staff are absolute legends, making everyone feel welcome and getting the whole bar involved. The shots? Creative, wild, and surprisingly delicious. It’s the kind of place where strangers become friends and the vibe just keeps going. Whether you’re starting your night or ending it, Shot Bar is a must. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a gem of a bar tucked away in a small street. It is a hidden bar, so if you blink you might miss it! We went on the night of August 3rd, and they had a visiting bartender that night with special menu drinks. I ordered “No Money, No Honey” and it was fantastic. I loved the cute touch of the mini $100 dollar bill on the side of the glass. It was packed in there which was surprising for a Sunday night. So we had to wait for a table. But if you are willing to stand at a small table near the entrance they will still serve you drinks. We also met the owner and his partner. They were friendly and fun people. Great atmosphere and worth a visit if you are staying in Sorrento!
Francesca C — Google review
They only have good reviews because they offer a free shot for a 5 star review. Honestly absurd. Went to go have a good night with my girl on our 5 year anniversary and had people skipping our songs all night. They need to do something about the music situation. Also had a group of people threaten to jump my girlfriend when we were trying to have a good time.

Honestly loved Shot bar! The staff, energy and vibes were absolutely amazing. So much selection to choose for drinks and shots but if you don’t know, make friends with the bartenders and they will gladly help you. And you can choose the music they play.

Filou Club is a vibrant and lively late-night venue in Sorrento, offering a European-style experience with doors open until sunrise. The club features stylish lounge rooms where partygoers can relax on sofas while enjoying live music and karaoke sessions well into the early hours. With a traditional Italian clubbing scene, including live singing of Italian songs, it's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
We had SUCH a fun night here. Came in unexpectedly after a wedding as a group of 8 and they accommodated us without hesitation. The vocals on the team playing at the piano were AWESOME! They played recognizable, top 40 tracks and killed it. Customer service was great - they seemed so happy to welcome us. No complaints AT ALL from a very picky group of people. Not sure what the bad reviews are about. I’d absolutely recommend this place as a late-night spot ☺️

The bouncer was awful. Didn’t let us in because we spoke English. Was extremely disrespectful and not understanding of the night. Let multiple people in and continued to disregard for no apparent reason. Ridiculous. Club does not deserve business.

So, I’ve never left a review for anything before but feel absolutely compelled to tonight after these two douche bags on power trips decided to act all macho with toxic masculin to deter us from entering. First we had to come in with with women only. And then when that was solved, apparently we weren’t dressed appropriately. I can’t stand places like this. Make your choice wisely.

Great club with 2 floors. Nice live music where you can ask and sometimes are asked to sing by the live band ;) International music and friendly crowd. Paying at the bar is made through a card that is given to you when you get in, like a tab, that you pay when you live. Opened till 3.30am or so. Great experience and I recommend going with some friends!

O'Parrucchiano La Favorita is a renowned restaurant in Sorrento, offering a blend of Campania's culinary tradition and charming dining spaces. With its 1800s venue featuring glass-enclosed halls and garden tables nestled under citrus trees, it provides an elegant setting for experiencing classic regional dishes. The chef's dedication to gastronomic traditions ensures high-quality cuisine that continues to delight both regular patrons and newcomers.
Another incredible experience at this restaurant! This time we attended as a party of 6 and we were extremely well looked after and the food was outstanding amidst the beautiful surroundings. Our waiter to was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were unsure which wine to order and he gave us the perfect recommendation. . He also suggested a mix of antipasti from the garden and we were all blown away by the delicious, fresh selection. We had some green beans in tomato sauce, stuffed zucchini flowers, fresh mozzarella and fresh tomato salad. We then shared a mix of the famous cannelloni before our main course. I ordered the lamb chops which were juicy and full of flavour. Every member of our party were extremely impressed and grateful for a fantastic day. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Go and have a fantastic experience. Highly recommend 👌🏼
MM M — Google review
A unique dining experience with amazing food. To be seated, we went inside and up a set of stairs into the main part of the restaurant where you're greeted. After less than five minutes, we were seated in the dining area which is all under beautiful lemon trees, and everyone is surrounded by foliage and vibrant green leaves. The restaurant easily seats a couple hundred people, and as such is very busy. Staff are constantly coming through with food. The food came fast, and everything tasted delicious. All three of our main courses, however, were cold when they arrived which was a shame. You can buy wine by the half bottle. There is no affordable "house wine" option for €10 (as of September 2025). Portion sizes were moderate. There is a cover fee of 2,5 euros and you're expected to spend minimum €30 per person. There is an English version of the menu.

the cutest lemon farm could not recommend enough- we shared a bottle of red wine, their famous cannoli pasta and then I got rigatoni and braccoli. It was incredible and so was the gnocchi. The table was gorgeous. It was under lemon trees with real lemons at the restaurant was huge and they fit 500 tables. We wanted to have our wedding there. This restaurant was four generation family owns since 1800 and first restaurant ever in sorrento

One of the most beautiful restaurants and great service. Definitely book in advance and sit in the garden. After your meal, walk through the beautiful gardens, it’s very magical. Food is pretty good and the drinks are delicious. It is apparently where cannelloni was invited so we had to try it and it was ok. I would definitely go again mainly for the atmosphere, it feels very magical. But food could definitely improve. Also there’s lots of comments about the prices being overpriced. I thought it’s fairly in range with other restaurants and considering the atmosphere and space, it’s definitely worth it.
Tina S — Google review
The food at O’Parrucchiano La Favorita in Sorrento was outstanding, and the wine complemented it perfectly. The highlight of our meal was, without a doubt, their famous cannelloni — a specialty of the house that is simply a must-try. Beyond the food, the setting is absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant has a stunning ceiling covered with natural lemon branches, creating a magical atmosphere unlike anywhere else. Dining beneath the lemon trees felt both unique and unforgettable. What truly elevated our experience, however, was our waiter. His kindness, patience, and thoughtful recommendations made us feel welcome and cared for throughout the evening. This place is not only about dining — it’s about living a beautiful memory in Sorrento. Highly recommended! Greetings from Canada, from your Mexican and Ukrainian friends. 🇲🇽🇺🇦🇨🇦

This is a great restaurant experience in Sorrento with an amazing indoor/outdoor garden. The ambience is truly unlike any other place we’ve been, and when you’re done eating, you can walk all around the huge garden. My husband loved the veal marsala, and the rest of the food was above average. Definitely recommend.

Foreigners Club in Sorrento, Italy is a must-visit spot offering breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. It's known for its excellent gluten-free options and a diverse menu. The establishment is praised for its delicious food, including fresh fruits, pastries, scrambled eggs, and bacon served during breakfast. Additionally, it serves as an ideal venue for weddings with its charming rooftop bar providing fabulous cocktails and stunning views across the Gulf of Naples.
We stopped by for lunch after a recommendation, and it was a great choice. From the outside, the restaurant doesn’t look like much, but the view from the terrace was absolutely stunning. It had a relaxed, unfussy atmosphere—nothing too fancy, which was perfect for us. The service was impressively quick, which we really appreciated since we were on a tight schedule. We arrived just before the lunch rush and managed to snag a fantastic table. It was already pretty busy by 12. Prices were as you’d expect in a touristy spot, but the food was simple, fresh, and delicious. The mozzarella was excellent, and the pasta was so fresh and tasty. We also shared a lemon cake for dessert, which was great too. All in all, a solid choice if you’re in the area and want good food with a beautiful view!

We celebrated our wedding day here on 21.08.25 with 60+ of our family and friends. The decor, service and food was outstanding. We’d visited a few times a couple of years before and knew this was the place we wanted to celebrate! The food was plentiful, the drinks were flowing and the team could not do more to ensure the day and night was a success from start to finish. We had a meeting with the reception manager a few days prior and we knew our plans were in the best hands. Everyone loved the food & commented on how generous the portions were and how tasty it all was. Thank you for an unforgettable day and we will see you next year! Lauren & Charlie xx

We booked here when we first arrived in Sorrento, to be sure if a table for our wedding meal. Every detail went as planned. The food was gorgeous, the staff could not do enough for us. Everyone in the restaurant cheered as we arrived. Smiles all around. We got the best seat in the house. Looking out to that beautiful sea. We could not have picked a better place. You’re definitely paying for the view here! Our tour guide recommended it and we could see why- the view is unmatched. I felt it was expensive for what you got but we enjoyed the setting for sure. Very cool building. We split a Margherita pizza and just had coffees to drink. Cocktails were around €14.

Amazing view, fantastic food and service. Lots of choice on the menu and I would definitely recommend for that special meal/night out. However the bill wasn't clear and included a cover charge and service charge. The cover charge is €3 pp but the initial bill we received at the table didn't state the service charge which was also added to the total. We then put cash in the tip jar as we left the main seating area to pay. It was only once we received the receipt that it stated the service charge. Please don't let that put you off, I'd still go back and recommend it to anyone.

The English Inn is a charming bed-and-breakfast located on Main Street Sorrento. The inn offers cozy rooms with balconies that overlook the bay, and guests can also make use of the shared kitchen. The highlight of the inn is its bar, which exudes a warm ambiance, and there's a spacious outdoor area with a lovely garden and terrace.
A nice friendly place to set down after a walk around the shops, and enjoy a good selection of drinks. Take a set outside chat to the people next to you ,and watch the world go by. One of our favourite bars in Sorrento.

Stumbled upon this quaint, little bar while doing some shopping in the alleys of Sorrento. It looked like a cool place for an ice cold Guiness. Browsing the menu, the fish and chips looked rather tasty. Fish n' chips was fair but the Guiness really hit the spot. Unfortunately, our waitress proved uninterested in us at all. Even after requesting several times for vinegar, I had to ask the bartender who quickly fetched us some. To add salt to the wound, the waitress overcharged us for a drink that we never ordered. After pointing that out, it appeared that she had a scripted response that it was unintentional and the apology was quite flat. Giving her the benefit the doubt, it was a blah experience to say the least.

Lovely pub to sit and watch the world go by. Though I am British I don’t generally frequent Brit pubs on holiday but the location & the staff drew us in. Drinks are reasonably priced, we shared a fish & chips as we were peckish, it was crispy batter on the fish but very greasy, left a puddle in the plate, gave us both stomachache but nothing drastic. Partner stayed to watch the football. Nice pub but I’d stick to drinks.

A really good traditional English pub in the heart of sorrento. I had fish fingers and chips and the other half had chicken and salad. Both were really tasty. The staff are really friendly and officiant. The only thing I would say is they had an English breakfast advertised and when I asked for it they said no they have none! What I can gather is they only serve breakfast till a sertain time but I'm not really sure on the time but another staff member said 1.30. I think it should state it on the menu if breakfast finishes at a certain time.

Fish and chips were excellent! Huge piece of cod and they had traditional chips that are pillowy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Servers are hustling - typical Italy where you need to constantly flag them down but that’s the culture - you can tell they are busy. Fun atmosphere. Would go back.

Villa Comunale in Sorrento is a truly fantastic spot that offers some of the best views in the city. It's a great place to just relax and unwind, especially in the evening. We spent some time there watching the sunset, and it was a genuinely calm and soothing experience. The panoramic views of the entire Sorrento coast from the park are simply breathtaking. Customers have praised the excellent customer service of Amalfi Coast Dream for their seamless booking process, timely communication via WhatsApp, and easy cancellation policy.
My husband and I had the most magical day on the Amalfi Coast thanks to the incredible boat tour we took from Sorrento! From the moment we set sail, we knew it was going to be a special experience. Our captain and our first mate, Giuseppe, were not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly warm and welcoming, making the entire day feel effortless and enjoyable. The views were absolutely breathtaking – crystal-clear waters, stunning cliffs, and charming coastal villages. Giuseppe took us to the best swimming spots, where we got to dive into the clearest water we've ever seen. The staff was incredibly attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed, and helped us find a fantastic lunch spot with views that made it even more memorable. This boat day was truly the highlight of our honeymoon. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience the Amalfi Coast. If you're thinking about booking a boat tour, don’t hesitate! 10/10, we’d recommend it to anyone looking to make unforgettable memories.

We had the greatest day with our skipper Raffaele. We did the full day private boat rental. We started in Sorrento and then went to Amalfi, Positano, and ended with the best hidden gem lunch in Nerano. By far the best way to see these places is by boat. Raffaele was so knowledgeable in explaining all the sights. Jumping into the Tyrennhian sea and swimming with fish was one of the most memorable parts of our whole trip. We highly recommend!

Incredible is the biggest understatement. We had the best day with Jett today, from the moment we got on the boat until we got off, every part was memorable. He was so kind and knowledgable, he truly gave us the highlight of our trip. Took us to the most beautiful locations, booked a lunch for us, took us to the green grotto and of course, Capri and Positano. I had initially booked with another company and switched to Amalfi coast dream and I am SO happy I did. Top 5 most memorable days we have had! Thank you Jett, we will never forget this day!

Took a taxi to the chair lift and went up the lift (worth every second) the view was amazing. Kids even loved the super fast crossing from Capri back to Sorrento. He made us feel very welcome. While some patrons have noted issues with the facilities, such as missing toilet seats and soap, others have praised the friendly staff and good vibes. Additionally, the bar provides shisha at a reasonable price and features a pool table for entertainment.
It was decent. They only have one hookah flavour but it’s OK I enjoyed it. They drink are not bad either.

We ordered five cocktails and a coke. The Sangria, Mojito and Strawberry Daiquiri cocktails was great and superb served. The kids lemon cocktail was great according to the 10 year old. The toilets was very chic and nice. But no toilet seats (neither at the male or female room) and no soap in the dispensers. The staff was aware of it and did not seems to care about it. Therefore only 4 our of 5 Also they put up the Happy hour sign but two of the drinks was fully charged. No tip from us then.

I visited this restaurant yesterday and, unfortunately, had a very negative experience. The staff’s attitude was terrible, especially a woman (apparently the owner) who behaved in a very unpleasant and unprofessional way. What really caught my attention was seeing this woman with a baby in a smoke-filled environment, at an hour when the poor child clearly should have been resting at home. On top of that, there was an extremely uncomfortable and even violent incident: a group of Spanish girls were thrown out in a very aggressive manner. I even witnessed her pushing one of them, which was absolutely unacceptable. She claimed the reason was that one of them had put her feet on a sofa, but the reaction was completely out of proportion. The whole atmosphere turned tense and very uncomfortable. I find this kind of behavior unacceptable, especially considering the amount of money I had spent there. It completely ruined the experience and left me with a very negative impression of the place. I won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but what happened here was beyond unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming — like I’d walked into a private argument I wasn’t invited to. The staff were cold and visibly irritated, like serving customers was an inconvenience. But the worst part? I was physically pushed by a member of the service staff. Yes, pushed. No apology, no explanation — just blatant rudeness and aggression. I was stunned. I’ve never experienced anything so unprofessional or hostile in a restaurant before. Food? At that point, who even cares? The entire experience was overshadowed by the sheer disrespect. If you’re looking to spend money and be treated like a burden — or worse, manhandled — this is the place for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Terrible experience. Staff had a really bad attitude, refused to let us sit outside even though there were empty tables, and the drinks were undrinkable. Only afterwards did I see all the other bad reviews – and they were absolutely right.

Shisha for €30 which is reasonable, €5 for a re-head + pool table!! We went for lady originally which is just an overkill of flavours. Peach & Pineapple was a little lighter. But they have great music, a tad maybe too loud.

We stayed in Sorrento for a few days back in March. We found this cool spot just walking around. The staff were very welcoming and helpful as we were unfamiliar with the different Italian wines. We ended up coming back and ordering a case to ship home which arrived safely. If you’re in Sorrento definitely stop through here.

Super cute wine shop, with an amazing owner. He was very helpful and very patient. The wine and liquor selection is amazing so be prepared to spend a lot of time in the shop if you enjoy wine like i do! Deffinetly a must visit when in Sorrento!

We had the best experience in this store tonight by Carmine and Giovanni. I hope the names are correct as I pulled them from a review. Carmine's knowledge of the local Gins and Limoncello was brilliant and extremely helpful. It was great to experience great customer service and deal with a business that prioritises service and high quality products. We look forward to enjoying the gins and Limoncello when we get back to Australia.

Our first day in Sorrento after traveling and so happy to find this shop filled with all types of wine, whiskey and cordials … and snacks to compliment. So tired traveling that we stopped here and loaded up on goodies to chill on our hotel deck and enjoy the views with drinks and snacks. Got some truffle olive oil for presents too. The gentleman even opened and re-corked the wine bottle to go.

Our family stayed in Sorrento in June 2023 for several days and wanted to bring some wine back to the US. We visited the day before we left for a bottle of wine and inquired if they shipped to the US, to which the older gentleman confirmed. So my mom and I came back the next day and the same older gentleman helped us with our order. We were unsure what to order, but based on our price range, he provided great recommendations to us! We bought 9 bottles including some Oils and were shipped promptly in two separate packages when we returned home! If you're looking for wine to ship to the US, this is a great store to do so!

La Cantinaccia del Popolo in Sorrento is a beloved culinary landmark, known for its authentic Italian dishes and warm ambiance. This charming restaurant offers exceptional cuisine at affordable prices, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. The rustic interior adds to the cozy atmosphere, with cured meats hanging from the ceiling and a variety of delectable options available for dining in or take away.
We got extremely lucky and happened to book a hotel opposite this local favourite. Truly blown away. On both occasions, we had a combination of excellent service from a gentleman and (we think) the one female serving tables. There may be more of course but she was pretty phenomenal at her job (and we work in hospitality). The restaurant is fun, has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is just something else! Every dish we had was an explosion of flavour; clean plates every time. We can’t recommend a visit to this restaurant enough. In our experience, watching from our pool, the queues were fairly steady. Lunchtime seemed to be calmer and easier to get a table (we went for lunch both times) but the team work hard to accommodate and the queue does go down fairly quickly (although, as a customer, you don’t feel rushed). We have 3 days left of our holiday and will be back for one last visit! Excellent.

We love this place 🍝 We visited this restaurant 4 times during our stay in Sorrento, and every single visit was perfect! The food is absolutely the best we’ve had, and the service is just as incredible. They always went out of their way to accommodate us, and we felt so welcomed every time. It’s walk-in only with no bookings, but it was definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere felt like sitting in Nonna’s house, enjoying hearty Italian food at a very reasonable price – and it’s absolutely NOT a tourist trap. The ravioli was our favourite stand out dish, wow! A huge thank you to the owner Pepe and the amazing staff Angelo, Rosita, Mary & Andrea – you made our experience unforgettable. We’ve recommended this restaurant to all of our family and friends who have since visited Sorrento, and they’ve all raved about it (many going back multiple times too!). Can’t wait to visit again!

We just had the best meal of our Italian trip here. Absolutely incredible. The food, service and quality is exceptional. Well worth lining up for. We dined here twice and will likely again before leaving Sorrento, it’s that good. The ravioli con pomadorini was delicious ans was the polpetti and pasta con melanzane. The rib eye beef steak even better than we had in Tuscany! The line was really long tonight and we paid for it with a terrible meal elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and line up - there’s a reason the line is so long. The owner and all staff are all super friendly and maintain exceptional customer service to all customers, even with the masses that come through. We look forward to dining there again asap!

We’ve traveled to many cities in Italy on vacation and out of all the places, this place was the BEST! The food was excellent: zucchini flowers were 10/10, gnocchi was amazing, and the penne alla cantinaccia was incredible!! The chocolate soufflé was SO GOOD that we ordered a second one! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Definitely worth waiting in line for a seat here! We will make a point to come back here multiple times next time we’re in town!

This is the best restaurant in Sorrento. Stand in the line, just wait it out (they'll give you cheese or some other goodies if the line is long). The food is awesome, no coperto or cover charge (a rarity in Sorrento!) - and the atmosphere is awesome. Wine and food portions are extremely generous. This is how a restaurant should be - it feels like a family run place where the workers are having fun, great decoration. Servers were joking with the kids in our group and they had such a fun time. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food, and the service received. Oh, and the Gorgonzola Ravioli is one of the best pasta we had on our entire trip to Italy!

I passed by this restaurant at night and always long line so I decided to try it after reading good positive reviews. Me and my partner went here for lunch and was no wait. I ordered pasta with seafood in red sauce and my partner got the ravioli. His ravioli is 10/10. I think the best homemade one i tried so far. My dish was hugh and I couldn’t finish it but test so good. If you realize everywhere you go around here there is a fees per person when you dine in but not at this place they didn’t charge you for that. The big bottle of sparkling only 3euro. We also ordered a side of 3 meatballss which are delicious and only 6euro for that. I ordered it somewhere else and they charged you for 16euro for 3 meatball.

We set out to find a special Italian restaurant and stumbled upon this hidden gem, not realizing how renowned it truly is. First off, this place is listed in Rick Steves' Italy guide as a must-try spot 😳. Just five minutes after we sat down, a food tour group joined us, making it clear that this restaurant is famous for its incredible Italian cuisine. And boy, were they right—absolutely wowed! Both of our dishes were fantastic. My seafood pasta was overflowing with fresh seafood—more than pasta! Don't miss out on their Lemoncello Spritz and the exceptional Taurasi wines. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. No reservations needed, so go ahead and enjoy a true Italian feast!

As a mortgage lender from the US, La Cantinaccia del Popolo quickly became my favorite spot in Sorrento — we went three times during our week-long stay. The place is always packed (for good reason), and they even bring out cheese samples to people waiting in line, which was such a fun touch. Every dish we tried was amazing — the calamari was the best I’ve had, and the ravioli with pancetta was my personal favorite. Great staff, incredible energy, fantastic house wine, and beautiful presentations. A true gem and a must-visit when in Sorrento.

WARNING: this place is a definition of tourist trap!!! I have a rule of never giving a place 1 star. Running a restaurant is a nightmare and my thinking is if I dont like it I just dont go back, but I dont post 1 star reviews. Amongst all the reviews I have written on google, this is the FIRST restaurant I am giving 1 star. Service here is non-existent. Waiters need extensive training. The one that served us had major attitude. When we sat down, the table was not set up, and waiter set it up with few plates but no forks. He did not give us cloth napkins and when my husband asked for it he gave him 1 (!) cloth napkin!! The rest of us were just sitting there, haha. But of course they did charge us "cover fee" for all of us, even though we didnt get any covers and had to ask for forks, haha. As we sat there waiting for food, which by the way was 40 minutes, waiting service was a disaster: wrong tables served wrong food, dropped trays, waiters standing with food not knowing where to take it, drinks sitting at the counter ready to be served with ice melting. The food was okay. Liked fried anchovies and pizza, the rest was salty, acidic and pasta was not al dente. Like ruining pasta in Italy is a different level. Overall, this place is full because of the good location and they dont really care because they know more gullible tourists will be coming no matter how badly they work. The reason they have a people waiting outside is purely due to location and has nothing to do with service or food, do not believe anyone who tells you otherwise.

One of the few places you can get a savoury breakfast in Sorrento. Club sandwich was tasty, omelette was a little overcooked. Coffee was great. However, the service was poor and generally very slow. We went to get our own water from the bar in the end.

We stumbled across this place on a busy Saturday night and were lucky to get a table. There was a band inside playing disco, funk, dance and Italian songs. The vibes were great, it was good for watching the crowds in the square. Cocktails about €12 each, plus plenty of snacks on the table.

We just happened to come upon this little gem while in Sorrento. It's tucked away in an alley, away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, however, don't be surprised if you wait a little bit to get seated...but it's worth the wait! The food is flavorful and portions are generous. The waitress/waiters are kind and helpful about the menu. We ended up eating here two times during our three night stay we enjoyed it so much!

Beautiful family run restaurant. We were lucky to get a table for 2 as it was a Saturday night. The whole time we were sitting down, there was a queue outside of people trying to get tables. Food was beautiful, incredibly cheap compared to the other high profile restaurants in Sorrento and the quality and quantity were definitely better! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent experience here today. We ordered the fried anchovies and king prawns as an appetiser, and the seafood handmade pasta for our mains. The food was delicious!! It was fresh and full of flavour, and the white wine we had was a perfect pairing with our food. Service was great, the seating / atmosphere was perfect, I really felt the Italian vibe, the culture, the people, it was just perfect. The complimentary bread, olive oil/chilli oil and fresh chilli’s were also very yum! Thank you for having us we will definitely be back :)

Very disappointing. The food took too long to arrive, and when it finally came it was cold, bland, and tiny portions. The seafood pasta had only mussels and clams, and the risotto portion was barely a spoonful, the squid was tasteless and chewy ! We returned 3 dishes yet paid almost full price!! Not worth it.

Had all my lunches and dinners here while in Sorrento. Lovely little family owned place with top notch food. I essentially ordered whatever the staff recommended. Everything was fab.

This spot is tucked away on a back street, but is well known and rightfully well loved! After reading the reviews, we had to try it for ourselves. The mozzarella and prosciutto were fresh, and the peppered mussels were simple but tasty. We enjoyed the Lasagna (Sorrento Style) and the Scialatielli with Porcini Mushrooms and Smoked Cheese. Both pastas were delicious and full of flavour. It truly felt like a home cooked, family meal—extremely impressed with the flavours and fresh ingredients. We didn’t have a reservation but sat on their lovely street terrace. It got extremely busy once we sat down, so we found that service was quite slow (dinner rush). The staff were still friendly and welcoming but seemed overwhelmed; we weren’t in a rush, so this wasn’t the end of the world. We would recommend this family-run place for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Neapolitan cuisine.

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are amazing – super friendly and really attentive. Every single dish we had was delicious. The stuffed courgette flowers were incredible, and the mixed seafood platter was so fresh. One of our favourite meals in Sorrento. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing. My family all had pasta dishes, my wife also had the catch of the day which was sea bass. Some of the best food we had in Sorrento for sure and nowhere near as expensive as other places. We had booked a table through our hotel, which was good as there was a queue forming at around 8pm. We were sat on a table outside on the narrow street but, there were a few e-bikes flying past which kind of took the magic away a bit.

Pizzeria Aurora is a charming restaurant located in the center of Sorrento, offering wood-oven pizzas, pasta, and regional dishes. The dining room has a vaulted ceiling and there's also a terrace on the square for outdoor dining. The restaurant has an extensive wine list to complement its delicious food options. While some visitors found the service to be somewhat cold, others enjoyed the prime location for people-watching and praised the quality of their pizzas and calzones.
Pizzeria Aurora, located right in Piazza Sant'Eustachio, is a classic Roman pizzeria that offers both atmosphere and great food. It's a bustling spot, and while it's close to major sights, it manages to maintain a truly satisfying quality, especially with its dough. I tried two different styles: the classic Margherita with Mushrooms and the elaborate Aurora 4. The Margherita base was fantastic—a thin, crisp, yet slightly chewy crust with just the right char. The tomato sauce was bright, and the fresh mozzarella melted beautifully with the earthy slices of mushroom. It was a perfect, elevated version of a standard favorite. However, the second dish, the Aurora 4 (a half calzone, half pizza hybrid), was the real showstopper. The dish is priced at €14.00. The calzone side was generously stuffed with creamy mozzarella and tender mushrooms (funghi), offering a rich, savory, and pocketed bite. The open pizza half was topped with high-quality, thinly sliced Prosciutto di Parma and finished with savory Parmesan shavings (scaglie di parmigiano). This half-and-half format is a brilliant way to enjoy a wide range of incredible flavors and textures in a single meal. While it can get busy, the service is efficient, and the pizzas are consistently delicious. A great stop for a traditional Roman pie!

Fun, upbeat restaurant in the heart of Sorrento. Had various Pizza choices which were excellent. Salads were large but average at best. Tried both ravioli and lasagna and the group again thought they were above average. Several tour groups arrived and the noise level went up considerably. Overall a good, not great visit.

Food is bland and flavorless Service is atrocious. Had a bland Gnocchi pasta and two pizzas, the pizzas came whole. No slices cut at all, im not sure what they expect us to eat it whole or to cut it with a knife. We asked the staff they could bring a pizza cutter or cut it, one made a huge display of showing us how to use a fork and knife for it. Was demeaning, then we tasted the bland, flavorless mush of Gnocchi, we asked if we could change it as the entire party tasted and disliked it and they shrugged their shoulders. They said it was their speciality dish... Seems sad to me that their flavorless dish was also their speciality. No apology no concern that we wouldn't eat what we ordered. When the manager came to ask us if we were happy we told her what happened and her reply was this is europe what did you expect for the restaurant to change the dish... actually in Europe I expected some pride for your special dishes. For a pasta in italy to be flavorless and mushy the chef should be embarrassed. For a tourist area I also expected some sort of customer service. But none wad forthcoming. Id avoid this place at all costs. A total waste of money and time. Was truly an awful experience.

Male dominated staff, lacks friendliness.. very rude to customers, feels rushed, food is mediocre & service was poor. Asked for a wine, smallest glass I ever have been served! Two girls beside us wanted to order another drink as they were vegan & they were told no you have to order food this is a restaurant! They ordered another drink as an apology but never drank them & left, can’t blame them. The pizzas we ordered were burned on the base, impossible to cut & drenched in oil but the grumpy old male staff made this dining experience in Italy truly miserable. Avoid.

The Margherita pizza and wine was excellent and the service was spectacular. It's a prime location right on the main square at the center of Sorrento. This place was recommended by a local who brings his own family for pizza.

I had an extremely disappointing experience due to the rude service we encountered. There were three of us, and one person wanted to order a single pizza. However, the waiter—who is in the picture—mocked us openly, telling us to leave because, in his words, this was "not the place for us." He outright refused to serve us unless we ordered three pizzas, insisting that the restaurant didn’t allow for light snacks. I attempted to explain our situation, emphasizing that we were there primarily to cater to our friend's craving for pizza, but he continued to belittle me, rolling his eyes and dismissing me altogether. This behavior was completely unacceptable, and it made for an awful experience that I won't forget.

The Cathedral of Saints Philip and James is one of the most important Catholic places of worship in Sorrento. It was built in the 11th century and has undergone several rebuildings over the centuries, most notably in the Baroque style in the 16th century. The cathedral is located just off Corso Italia, and features an impressive 16th century marble altar as well as Sorrento wood inlay choir.
It was beatiful i went there alone i admired the art despite not being religious i enjoy research about it this place has a beatiful history i recommend highly to visit if you have the chance i also advise everyone to donate whenever you can in places like this since it helps upkeep the art and it funds public schools, and even activities the churches plan most people dont realise this so i think its important to raise awareness

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Sorrento, I Giardini di Cataldo is a delightful family-run lemon grove that invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of organic citrus products. Here, you can savor an array of homemade delights such as zesty lemon marmalade, refreshing sorbetto, and traditional limoncello. The experience is enriched by engaging stories from Luigi about the unique process behind crafting authentic limoncello using only the peel—an eye-opening revelation for many!
This is the magical place I discovered cantaloupe gelato and never looked back. Now I hunt for this flavor everywhere. I find it rarely and think of it often. This place is cute and I so appreciate the little bit of the lemon grove that’s public (you can see more and get a tour with a ticket)! FYI there are non-alcoholic options too, so something for everyone, and you can buy lemon flavored pasta and candy and many other things.

Based on the many great reviews, especially for the lemon ice cream, I got curious and decided to try a small cup of the lemon sorbet. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment for me. There was only a hint of lemon flavor, and the rest was just pure sugar. It was so sweet that it literally burned in my throat and hurt my teeth. Since I haven't consumed added sugar for over 1.5 years, I am very sensitive to sweetness, and almost everything is far too sweet for my taste. So, it might be that for most people, this is a good balance. However, that doesn't change the fact that it had almost no lemon taste, which was the main reason I got the lemon sorbet in the first place. I tried two small spoonfuls and threw the rest away. A wasted 3 Euros, but at least I opted for the smallest cup.

We first experienced I Giardini Di Cataldo on a Food Tour (https://www.sorrentofoodtours.com) where we toured the lemon grove, learned how limoncello is produced in their factory on site and tasted several liquors. Our tour guide, Tamara took us all over the city tasting food/drink and this was certainly the highlight. Secondly, we did a cooking class in the garden with Sammy's Food Cooking School (this was also booked via https://www.sorrentofoodtours.com/). Our guide/translator was Alessandro and the chef was Sammy. It was magical preparing a three course meal inside the oasis of the lemon grove. All the food was prepped before we arrived and we returned with recipes we plan to attempt at home. Alessandro and Sammy were so much fun to cook with and learn from - they have great senses of humor and made everything feel extremely special and relaxed. The food was simply delicious. Most of all, the experience was intimate and authentic.

A definite highlight of our trip to Sorrento was the lemon tour at I Giardini di Cataldo! The property has a stunning lemon garden, and we were lucky enough to get a fantastic tour led by Rosa. Rosa was an absolute gem!! truly the best guide we could have asked for. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the lemon groves and their history but also wonderfully humorous, keeping us laughing throughout the tour. She even went the extra mile, offering to take our pictures in the garden, creating some lovely memories for us. The tour ended in a tasting of the lemon products, where Rosa explained each item. Of course, no visit would be complete without a stop at their store right by front, and we made sure to pick up some limoncello to bring a taste of Sorrento home with us. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sorrento 🤩

What a nice surprise to walk along a Sorento street near our Hotel and see this place. Everything lemon is here, as well as a little lemon orchard at the back. Nice and cozy and for me as an Aussie, the first time in Italy I got a decent cupperchino and with chocolate sprinkles on top. I was impressed.

This is an Amazing property. Host is fantabulous. As they say the best for the last. We stayed here for 5 days as final destination of our 18 days trip in Europe. The best property where we had a great experience in sorrento. An active lemon garden maintained by the family in the middle of the city. Amazing host who will ensure you have the best time in Sorrento-very friendly, approachable and always available to guide. I have not come across a host like her in more than decade of travelling to Europe .. God bless her and her wonderful family. You have our heart from India 🇮🇳

This shop is listed on Google as a "Liquor Store" but it's definitely not! It's a gelato shop with fun lemon treats and an amazing lemon garden in the back. The lemon sorbet (not sure that's what it's called) was delicious and eating it in the garden filled with lemon trees sweetened the experience.

Bar del Carmine, located in Piazza Tasso, is a popular spot for both locals and English tourists. It offers a varied selection of classic English dishes like hamburgers and fish and chips, as well as an English breakfast. The bar provides a wonderful view over Piazza Tasso, making it a perfect place to relax with a nice espresso or Sambucca. Visitors can enjoy flavorful grilled chicken with eggplant and cherry tomatoes along with caffe alla nocciola.
We randomly stopped in one morning for just a quick breakfast. I'm so glad we did! In hindsight it was the best breakfast! Service was excellent. We got there early and were the first to be seated and the location allowed us to watch the city center come to life. I can't stop telling people about the most AMAZING pancakes with white chocolate topping i have ever experienced...and trust me i have had my fair share of pancakes over the years. My wife also loved her French toast she ordered and the cappuccino was great too. Do not pass this opportunity during your vacation to indulge on breakfast and if you like sweets then trust me and order the pancakes. You will NOT regret it!!

This restaurant is very good! The staff are very attentive and helpful and the food is good too. The prices are very reasonable and the food looks pretty and taste great. The muscles that I ate were some of the best that I’ve ever had and they’re a lot of them for a great price! They also have local sports stations on all the time so you can watch while you eat. It was a little noisy but that’s what you get for eating outside on a street corner.

We honestly just popped into this restaurant to get out the rain and we weren’t expecting anything. Out came the BEST carbonara I’ve had. Staff were calm and confident but I did think they were a bit heavy handed ejecting a member of the public for simply having a sit down on an empty chair. Nonetheless , you must come here for effortless perfect pasta xx

Specifically had the croissant because it was labeled as vegan and the waiter assured me it was vegan. I'm lactose intolerant and I can guarantee you absolutely that croissant was not vegan, evident by my trip to the bathroom 20 minutes later. I'm not even sure they understand what vegan meant. Don't come here if you have any dietary restrictions at all. Also the croissant was incredibly mediocre.

La Tavernetta is a charming restaurant with a lovely location and a relaxed ambiance. The mixed fried fish and French fries are delicious and affordable, making for an enjoyable meal. While the service may be slow, the experience is worth savoring as you watch the waves and enjoy your company. The menu offers a variety of wonderful Italian dishes, such as tuna, sea bass, gnocchi, and risotto. The spaghetti with zucchini and sea bass in rock salt come highly recommended.
We had a very rainy ride to the area and the group was excited for some pasta and pizza! This restaurant did not disappoint. The pizza crust was chewy and the toppings were a burst of flavor! The ravioli and red sauce tasted great! I feel like this is exactly how I imagined Italian food to taste! We have been traveling for a week in Italy and have visited different restaurants from multiple regions. This was my favorite atmosphere and flavor for relaxing! Great service as well, keeping our glasses full and cheerful the entire time!

Eat right on the seaside in a sunshine day is priceless. This restaurant is nicely placed by the beach and you can take an aperitif on the sand while waiting for your table. You will reach it with an interesting tuc-tuc ride, don’t try to get there directly with your car! The food is good, there is a good selection of wines and beers. The service is kinda but not so fast, so avoid to hurry, and take time to relax. The price is right.

What a fantastic experience and fabulous food with attentive service! The restaurant will pick you up from your hotel (and drop you back - included in the price) and the journey down to the sea front is really very special. We sat on the sea front overlooking the water as the sun set -wow- and I have to say the food was delicious- traditional Italian dishes and fresh fish cooked beautifully; the tiramisu is to die for! The staff are all very attentive and happy to recommend if you aren’t sure what to go for. We tried the restaurant after being recommended it by several others and would highly highly recommend- there is a reason why the restaurant has been running under the same ownership for 25 years! If you are staying in Sorrento, give them a call and have an unforgettable experience!

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and ate at the restaurant often. Overall, the food was good and the service from most of the staff was friendly. The location is also great. Unfortunately, on our last night we had a very unpleasant experience with one of the owners (the gentleman with spectacles). Around midnight, reception called my room asking for payment because another guest had not paid. This owner wrongly assumed it was me and insisted on the call. The phone woke up my three-year-old daughter, which was extremely disruptive. The next day, when I confronted him, instead of apologizing he brushed it off and said, “yeah that’s okay, if you have paid, you’re good.” I was very disappointed by his attitude — he should have been apologetic, not dismissive. This unprofessional behavior overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. While the food and location were good, this incident left a lasting negative impression. I stayed at Baia Di puolo from Aug 28 till Aug 31st

We had someone pick us up from our hotel and the drive down was quite the experience since it was a very narrow road. Ordered the Lemon Risotto With Raw Prawns, Tuna with pistachio and the baby octopus with cherry tomatoes. Great experience over all!

Kind staff, family style atmosphere. The beach is small, the restaurant overlooks the sea, surrounding mountains. Park uphill and you can even ask for a taxi or simply walk down to the seaside.
Zsófia N — Google review
In case you are staying at Hotel Baia - BY ALL MEANS make the best of the half-board option and remember to always order the local, seafood-based dishes; you will not be disappointed. You will not be treated like a second-category client. In case you just come to visit - enjoy, the food is great. The service tends to be rather chaotic at times but don’t let this discourage you. You will be fed well and the kitchen works like a clockwork. A family business at its best, we had a lovely time here. Stayed at the hotel, didn’t even feel tempted to eat elsewhere - and when we did while travelling around the region, we were always comparing the food to the things we tried at La Tavernetta. To make it even better, it is an equalizer - you will enjoy the company of people from all walks of life here (and I consider this an advantage; a low-key family dinner next to a sybarite feast of the boat passengers from the marina). Quintessentialy Italian.
Arkadiusz P — Google review
Restaurant was recommended by our hotel. The view of the sunset was very nice. The meal was out standing. The cheese, tomatoes, basil and arugula were fresh from the owners farm. The fish tasted so fresh it tasted as though it jumped out of the Mediterranean and onto our plate. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Sorrento at the Museo Bottega della Tarsia Lignea, located in an 18th-century palace adorned with stunning frescoes. This museum showcases the traditional art of marquetry, a craft dating back to the 14th century and flourishing in the 19th century.
Amazing collection of decorative wood over 3 floors. Shows the skilled woodworking starting from the nineteenth century. Partial frescos on the ceiling of some rooms that you almost miss due to the excellent furniture and paintings. Displays were very informative.
Grant R — Google review
This is a really lovely museum set in a very interesting building in the center of Sorrento. The first little corridor is not very inspiring, but it's easy to get completely immersed in finding out what's in all the little draws in the next three floors. My partner who is an architect was absolutely entranced by the quality of the sketch work and the beautiful and unusual shapes of some of the furniture. It's also really lovely how the museum sets the scene (social, industry, fashion etc.) before moving on to much of the tarsilinear work so that the scenes depicted can be really understood. The woodworking tools were also fascinating, as was the discussion of wood staining. You can easily spend 2 hours here if you take the time to get the most out of it. Well worth a visit.
Liz M — Google review
Visiting Sorrento for the day. The museum’s actual website literally says FREE ENTRY. We get there and a woman refuses to acknowledge the website and insists on charging 10 € per person. We email and try to call the office. Zero response. Very disappointing and even if it were free, I’m not wasting my time.
Yan-Xin L — Google review
Not sure what to make of this museum it’s neither one thing or the other. I was expecting an immersive experience in the art of making fret work and intricate wooden things. There’s a bit in that but it seems to tell more about the history of Sorrento. It’s interesting nonetheless and a bit pricey at €10 each. You’ll learn stuff but not how they make super thin wooden veneer, how they cut it or make things.
Martin W — Google review
If you only have time for one thing in Sorrento visit this museum. The wood work is absolutely beautiful. The detail in mosaics and all sorts of designs is incredible without the use of modern technology. You can find similar wood work in a couple shops around Sorrento but you should really check out the history behind it.
Jeffrey P — Google review
Wonderful museum with four floors of great exhibits. There are many tapestries in Italian and English to help explain the history. There is a set of book and pieces you can buy. Well with the $10 entry.

Great atmosphere here. A popular place- especially to watch the sunset. They served a platter of food with our drinks- but we didn't know what any of it was and it didn't look vegan so we couldn't eat it. My husband just walked through and heard the music, and he suggested we have a beer here. At first, we were just going to grab a drink and enjoy the live music, but then we tried the bruschetta—wow, it was delicious! We decided to stay for a proper dinner, and it did not disappoint. We absolutely loved it! Highly recommend.

We were initially 4 but then 2 other people came to join us, so we needed an extra table. We tried to ask the waitress for it but she kept ignoring us. After many attempts to get her attention we finally decided to move a table nearby by ourselves, only for her to come inform us that staying at that table would not be possible. At this point every other table in the restaurant was occupied so we said we would leave. She replied that in that case we could stay. The music was nice if a little loud (we could barely hear eachother over it). The singer had a routine which he did twice where he asked every young girl at the restaurant to dance with him. The main issue with this is that he wouldn't take no for an answer and kept pressuring girls to dance with him after they said no. This made all of us uncomfortable, especially the girls in our group. The food took over an hour to arrive and the starter we order arrived after the mains. Although we were informed upon ordering that the kitchen was running a little slow, we weren't expecting over an hour of delay. Despite of this, the food was very nice and we enjoyed it very much. Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere to dance and have a drink, not for a meal or if you want to be able to talk to the people at your table.

A nice sandwich selection and snacks. Cocktails were beautiful, as were the dogs. 😁 Had a fuss with Gina who had sat by my feet. Hopefully, I will visit again in the future.

Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good music, their Bloody Mary’s were the best I’ve ever had! Just the right perfect spice and so delicious!! Definitely recommend x

Great little bar around the corner from my hotel the owner and staff were very friendly. Owner has a labrador that will come and say hello. Great if you want to watch the football with a few beers on holiday.

Dropped in here walking past and so glad we did! The plan was to only have one but ended up having a couple because the vibe was fantastic and staff very attentive. Feel very lucky to have also met the 2 pub Labrador’s who were absolutely gorgeously cute 🥰 thanks for a great night! Highly recommend to all!

Great bar for sport or a lively atmosphere in the evening, feels family run so service was great, quick and good drink selection. Tried to find a rugby match just for us on request, would return! Couple of dogs in the bar steal the show!

My husband and I stopped here on the walk to dinner for some drinks. I had a kiwi daiquiri, he had a limoncello mule. Both drinks were very good. It's also a plus that, like the other reviews state, there was a beautiful sweet brown lab hanging around!

Absolutely fantastic service. The owner/manager is a proper gentleman and knew us from the first night. We enjoyed watching the football with excellent wine and beer. Wonderful and thank you!

This place really surprised us… we ended up coming back three times! The waiter even remembered us and our drinks. The vibe is super relaxed, the cocktails are great, and the service is spot on. If you’re looking for an easygoing bar with good drinks, friendly faces, and sports on the screen, this is the spot in Sorrento.

Teatro Tasso, also known as Sorrento Musical, hosts an annual festival celebrating traditional Neapolitan dances, customs, and music. The late-night shows feature 75 minutes of Neapolitan classics and can be purchased for a set price. Alternatively, guests can opt for the dinner show where dinner is served on the balcony with musicians serenading before the performance.
Awesome rooftop bar!! We were here twice because of the view and great service 🥰

I have visited this theatre a couple of years ago. We had an excellent diner, during which some of the singers came to our table and sang to us. Afterwards, we enjoyed Tarantella, a sorrentino musical. Awsome singers, great dancers, very enjoyable musical..! The songs, voices, costumes... everything was appealing to our senses... A delightful, magical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance. The story and emotional content of this musical (humor, love, anger) are conveyed in a harmonious and delightful way.! A must see.!

Happyssimo A Dreamy Rooftop Pool Lounge Restaurant offers a sophisticated and ultra-modern setting with a panoramic view of the Bay of Naples. While it may be on the pricey side, visitors are guaranteed a beach club feel with open-air spaces, beautiful vistas, and loud dance music during night visits.
Amazing rooftop bar in Sorrento! Best sunset views and very extensive and particular cocktails list and menu, with some vegan options too. The atmosphere is very chilled and cosy with nice music entertainment. Will definitely come back!

This place was my FAVORITE by far since arriving Sorrento. The Zighini dish is the most gorgeous presentation of delicious food! The Moscato was the best ever! Amazing place truly!
David P — Google review
We booked a table online. The welcome when we arrived was cold and under whelming. We sat for 15 minutes in which time the staff completely ignored us. There were 3 staff and probably 4 guests so it was not that they were busy. We left and actually a fantastic meal in the town.
Paul F — Google review
Given lack of alternatives, an ok roof bar. We visited as external guests paying 40 euros per person, this includes bed towel and a small water bottle. There are 2 cabanas, if those are in use you may struggle to find shade given few parasols. The pool is too small and shallow to swim in (waist height). There was 10% service added on to the entry fee (which is itself a service fee?). Mocktails were 14 euros. As a day guest to the hotel, entry to other facilities such as fitness centre is not allowed. So whilst the value is poor, if you're looking sun loungers on a rooftop by some water to cool off and beach club music playing the background, this is otherwise a decent spot.

Francesco was an outstanding waiter who truly enhanced our dining experience. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble for him, and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic meal. Francesco's knowledge of the wine list and menu was exceptional, and he provided us with excellent recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal. He truly made our night special, and we are so grateful for his exceptional service. Thank you so much, Francesco, for your outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend dining at this restaurant and being served by Francesco for an unforgettable dining experience.

My wife and I were at the Hilton Sorrento last year. Loved it so much that we returned this year. A big difference this time was experiencing Happyssimo. It was not opened when we came the first time. The views from this rooftop restaurant is unbelievable. We spent multiple days just relaxing here. We enjoyed it so much that we changed our itinerary to spend two days in Florence afterwards to returning to Sorrento to stay at the Hilton Sorrento to enjoy Happyssimo. The staff is amazing. Thank you to Ettore and Francesca for your warm hospitality. Grazie mille!
