Park
Nature & Parks
Mote Park is a vast natural space in Maidstone, offering various attractions for visitors. The park features a woodland play area, BMX track, pitch and putt course, skate park, and a serene lake where visitors can feed swans. Families can enjoy picnics and let kids roam free in the new play area while dog walkers explore the beautiful walks around the lake. Additionally, there are opportunities for adventure with high ropes and Segway rides in the Adventure Zone.
This visited this Park with friends and family. Its a huge park with good children play areas and facilities. It's a good choice to have a day trip and you will enjoy a lot here. Adventure for kids, mini golf, Family boats and kayaks, etc.. very well cleaned toilets always next to the Park Cafe. We went on a European summer fest event on a Sunday. Allover a very good experience. Parking is £3 for 6 hours.

Mote Park is honestly one of my favourite places in Maidstone. It’s such a lovely spot to chill, go for walks, or just spend time with friends or family. The park is massive, with loads of open space, trees, and a beautiful lake right in the middle. It’s perfect for picnics on sunny days – you can just relax on the grass and enjoy the view. It’s also really good for kids. There’s a big playground and lots of ducks by the lake, which kids always seem to love. They even have a little machine where you can buy duck food – just tap your card and get a handful to feed them. It’s a small thing but really cute and fun, especially for families. There’s a nice café near the lake if you want a coffee or a treat, and the toilets are close by too. You can also rent pedalos or rowing boats, which is great on warm days. Loads of people go for walks, runs, or bike rides – and it still feels peaceful even though it’s close to the town centre.
Megha — Google review
Largest park in Maidstone and one of the largest in Kent. Lovely surroundings spread over several acres traversing large green spaces, lakes with boating, water sport facilities, wildlife and even some mini waterfalls. Has a miniature railway, wooded walks, nature trails, adventure playground, skate park and also a cafe. The only negative is the paid parking which can be difficult to get a space during busy periods, especially when there is an event.
E T — Google review
Gorgeous park, huge! Different things to do as well. Lovely place for a picnic. They have a little duck food dispenser where you can get the feed for the geese, ducks and swans. Was lucky enough to see a family with their babies today also 🦢
Lauren M — Google review
Really nice and big park, both dog- and child-friendly. Beautiful ponds with plenty of benches, a large playground for kids, and spaces for picnics, relaxing, and enjoying some privacy. There are many spaces in the two car parks. Not far from the car park is a decent café offering beverages and snacks. On the other side of the park, there’s a van selling ice cream and drinks. A great place for a weekend walk and to spend time with family and friends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mote Park is my happy place! 🌳✨ I come here all the time whenever I need a bit of calm, space to breathe, or inspiration for my art. There’s just something so peaceful about it — the lake, the trees, the open air — it feels like the whole park has its own gentle energy. I’ve had some of my best creative ideas just sitting here sketching or walking around the water. 🎨💭 It’s also amazing for families! There’s so much space for kids to play, a lovely café for a little treat, and so many spots for picnics or peaceful walks. It’s one of those rare places that’s relaxing and inspiring at the same time — perfect whether you want quiet time alone or a fun day out with your family. Every visit reminds me how lucky we are to have this gem right here in Maidstone. 🌿💚 Highly, highly recommend it to anyone who needs a little reset or creative spark!
AYSE A — Google review
A very nice and well kept park! If you are in the area you should just come and walk through.. There are boats for the kids.. or you who am I to say what you can do. It's a classic park experience just multiplied by 10, in size. There were ice creams, lovely, and there were many trees and this nice little river that ran through the beginning of the park. A tiny little waterfall. A photogenic area! Worth a visit and worth your steps. Get your 10k here

Great park to relax, walk,Run, Cycle. Dog walking etc. There is a nice pond inside, boat rides. I couldn't see the mini train but there are boards saying that there is a train inside the park. Very beautiful and calm park to enjoy a nice stroll.

Kent Life is a 28-acre countryside attraction that offers a glimpse into Kent's farming history and rural life. Visitors can explore the Vintage Village, experience life during World War II, and engage in various activities such as bottle feeding lambs, playing on the beach, riding donkeys, and enjoying an indoor soft play area. The site also features a paint-a-pot studio and opportunities to get close to farmyard animals.
We visited Kent Life recently with family. It was an incredible day had by all. Lots of parking so that's great. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It's not expensive to visit and it's a full day to enjoy yourselves. Loads to see including cute farm animals and tractor rides. They have sheep, goats, donkeys, meerkats and owls to name a few. Even snakes and spiders too. The kids cam enjoy pottery painting too. You can see the Owl Display too. That's amazing. There's food to buy onsite and tea and coffees. Nice kids soft play area that's huge. You can get lovely ice creams too. Many places to enjoy a picnic. Benches everywhere. Great to see the heritage of Kent. The old well preserved buildings and areas they grew the Hops. Like stepping back in the past. The area is beautiful and the staff are nice. Good area for kids to play too. The tractor rides are great. Kids love it. The gift shops nice too. Perfect day out. What a fantastic place to go. Will visit again many more times. Also a bonus is it's next to the river and the Malta Inn. So enjoy that great pub after.
Adam S — Google review
Great for who love animals! Especially for young children. You can get very close to the sheep, goose, bunnies, chicken etc. £10 per person for entry. We brought ticket at the door. Many Free parking slot. You can buy food for feeding the animals which located up on the hill. There is a truck for you to ride to go around the whole farm. A tea house for food and drinks but it’s closed as we arrived late. Also a hand craft workshop for youngers! Good place for family with children. An indoor and also outdoor children park inside Kent life. Nice to have a wonderful bday party there as well.
Bebeliana C — Google review
Great place to take the kids to meet some animals. The toilette area it is for adults. It is very uncomfortable for the kids to use them as they are designed only for adults. Mainly to do school trips but recommended to go with the family. I will change my review to 5 stars if the toilette issue is resolved before the end of 2025.

My Wife and I had our wedding here on the 1st August this year. The day was perfect. Lindsay was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing. Every question or worry we had was dealt with and we honestly couldn't have asked for more. She was always on hand when we needed her and guided the day perfectly. The venue was ideal and unique, we got married in the pink chapel and had the food and party in the Wagon Store and Village Hall. Food was good and all dietary requirements were catered for and there were lots of them. Overall the whole day was perfect and all the guests commented how great Kent Life was so thank you all. Excellent value for money, can spend hours here with my 3 year old. Animals she can actually interact with, soft play, playground for varied ages, owl show, quite often there are themed events on, tractor rides and just a nice walk. Would recommend. Getting a membership really pays off too if youre going to even come 2 or 3 times in the year

We visited yesterday having booked our tickets for one of their dinosaur days a little while ago.We were greeted by two inflatable dancing dinosaurs with adults inside and started our day with an owl event (he was called Merlin) which was really interesting and informative with the owl flying right over our heads to feed, you could really feel the whoosh of its wings ! We saw all the animals in the farmyard (you can't feed these) and met Holly the guinea pig who gave us gentle nibbly kisses to our hands. We saw the various types of hens, cockerells and turkeys nearby. We strolled up the hill to feed the sheep, goats and alpacas and met an occasionally roaring but friendly Tyrannosaurus on the way much to the delight of our Grandson. We had lunch by the tea room which was very busy. There is pot painting nearby which we didn't do as our Grandson is under 3 so still a little young for that. We had a stroll down to the carousel (£3 a go) followed by the dinosaur themed magic show in the marquee which all the kids clearly enjoyed with some even invited to participate. We went to see the other lovely owls including a snowy owl which is endangered, a skunk and several meerkats who also have some young that are fun to watch playing around. We finished our day with a brief visit to see the critters and a tractor ride after a short spell queueing (no extra charge). We had a fabulous day out at Kent Life, thankyou to all of the staff.
Michele S — Google review
Perfect day out for any age. There were tractor rides, activities and talks free to attend and join as well as good information provided to give knowledge. Food was expensive but was tasty.

Took my granddaughter for the Halloween period, had a brilliant day. Plenty of activities starting almost every half an hour. The owl show was amazing. The foam disco at the end was great she’s 2 and really enjoyed it. I thought the entrance fee was very reasonable too. We enjoyed it that much I’m going again this weekend with my grandsons.

Cobtree Manor Park, situated in Aylesford, spans 50 acres and was once the location of the Maidstone Zoo. The park features green spaces, wooded paths, picnic areas, a playground designed like a zoo in honor of its previous occupant, and a sculpture trail. Visitors can explore the history of the zoo at the visitor centre while enjoying walks through woodland trails and open spaces.
Lovely park with a nice loop around walk.Nice and quiet if you visit first thing in the morning. This park has a lovely play area for the children and small cafe with seating inside and out.

Nice place, full of families during a summer time, what makes this place very special and unique. Car park available. Prices for 6h £2 or all day £12. We loved visiting wooden playground. It is designed like a castle. There is a separate section for toddlers and another for older children. There are a few slides, climbing ropes, and swings - plenty to keep the kids busy. Everything was in great condition with no broken parts, and the whole area was clean and well maintained. I also appreciated the many benches around the park, which makes nice to have lots of spots for families to sit and enjoy their time. We will definitely be back!
Ewelina Z — Google review
We recently returned for a second time for our annual family picnic. Great place to meet and set up as a large group of adults and children. Some shade from many trees. A good place for a game of rounders and football. Ample parking reasonably priced if you go for the first option which if I recall is £2 for 5 hours and then add more time (rather than the longer option which is £15 I think) - this was on a Sunday so check. Play park for younger children. Toilets were clean and well stocked. Great for a day out.
Clare L — Google review
Well kept and attractive outdoor space. Easy car parking and a cade on site. Very pleasant place to walk of a big lunch. Very quiet when i visited and beautiful at this time of year (October)
Paul P — Google review
It’s a lovely park for the kids with a decent size car park. Parking you have to pay for. The park is a nice size to walk around. There is a cafe and toilets on site.
Robert — Google review
Lovely park. Great for 3+ years Different areas make it possible to have a little wander and then the kids can have a little play. There's a nice cafe. There are toilets. Car park spaces are a good size. It doesn't cost too much to park there all day. It's a popular place but not overly busy.We have been a couple of times now and I'd go again. I would like to see them include more things for babies/toddlers.

Lovely place to go for a walk with or without your dog. Great trails and picnic spots and a great cafe if you didn't bring your own. Its our dogs favourite place but there's an adventure park for children too.

Maidstone Museum, located on St Faiths Street in Maidstone, is a regional museum boasting an extensive collection of over 660,000 diverse artworks and artefacts. The museum's collections cover a wide range of subjects including Old Masters, fossils, dinosaurs, Japanese artwork, and ancient Egyptians. Notably, it houses Kent's only human mummy - the 2,700-year-old Ta-Kesh. Additionally, the museum regularly hosts temporary touring exhibitions to keep the experience fresh for visitors.
This museum has always been and remains one of my favourite places to spend time in Maidstone - it is free to go in and the place is fascinating, from the historical and beautiful building it's housed in to all the exhibits themselves. As we (my son and I) hadn't been for a little while we discovered it'd had a bit of a revamp inside on this occasion; some new exhibits wonderfully laid out, lots of interactive things for any young children to discover and try out on the way around. Not forgetting of course that the story of Iggy, our local celebrity dinosaur is told along with much more of 'Kent's Earth History'. Don't forget to look up too - there's a whale on the ceiling in one area! The Ancient Egyptian exhibit is a favourite of mine; it's quite peaceful which makes it feel rather respectful too given that the Mummy of Ta-Kush is in there... there's definitely an air of quiet serenity about her. Everything is informative and well laid out throughout the museum; an eclectic mix of ancient artefacts right up to more modern history too. The staff were friendly and welcoming as we walked in out of the rain. The place is as accessible as they can get it with lifts to upper floors and ramps where possible. Obviously, given the age of the building (no doubt a listed building at that) there are some areas that have small sets of stone or wooden stairs that can't be replaced by a modern ramp but the vast majority of the displays seem to have been designed to be user friendly no matter the age or ability of who's visiting...myself included! I'm an older soul shall we say, and stairs can be my nemesis! It's a fantastic place to get lost in and we ended up in there for a good couple of hours looking at everything...absolutely loved it.

- FREE ENTRY (besides the Titanic part) - I definitely recommend the fossil section as there is some excellent specimens of dinosaurs - one to keep an eye out for is the London clay exibxit which shows some rare species of bird, fish, shark and turtle.
Evan V — Google review
I made an unplanned visit to Maidstone Museum which is free to enter, and it turned out to be an informative and engaging experience. The exhibits covered a wide range of topics, from birds, insects, and animals to dinosaurs, British soldiers' history, fashion, and ancient human history. It was a fascinating mix of displays from around the world, making it a well-rounded experience. It took about 2 hours to explore, and I was thoroughly engaged throughout. It's a great place for a family visit, especially with children.
Kavin M — Google review
Nice free museum with some interactive tasks for children and separate dinosaurs area. Anglo-Saxon treasures, dinosaur bones, Japanese art, Victorian fashion, global explorer finds, military medals, taxidermy displays, paintings and sculptures.
Il D — Google review
Free museum, you need to pay for the Titanic exposition though bug it was still worth it. Diversified, organized and well presented.
Nate's T — Google review
Absolutely amazing collection of items! I spent 3 hours here looking at everything and could have spent longer if it didnt take me up to close! The current titanic exhibition is so interesting! Amazing free experience, great volunteers and so much to see!
Alice W — Google review
An amazing place to visit with kids. Lots of sections and floors and every section offers a great insight about history and different eras. We spent two hours there, could have happily spent more. No tickets needed, bery approachable from station, and offers Little activityifor kids as well. It has a a little souvenir shop too.
Dr. Z — Google review
My family and I like this museum a great deal. The only reason I give it such a low starring system is for its customer service. My father paid the museum another visit recently to visit one of its special exhibitions. Now, like all pensioners, he asked if there was a pensioner discount, in the same way NHS staff such as myself must ask if places offer an NHS discount because these discounts are not openly advertised nor revealed unless asked for. There is no harm in asking, otherwise we don't know better. The women at the desk replied back in quite a spiteful manner 'it's already cheap enough unless you want to bankrupt us.' Regardless of the hardships a museum has with funding, customers and visitors are some of your primary fund raisers, and good customer service ensures they return. This was a very upsetting comment, particularly as my father happens to probably be one of the few people in Maidstone who understands the actual value and significance of the museum's artefacts. Especially when it comes to the Japanese collection, of which Maidstone museum holds one of the biggest collections in the country! Suffice it to say, my father used to be a frequent visitor, but has since not returned. Please be kind to your visitors. It makes all the difference.

National Trust - Stoneacre is a 15th-century house that features a great hall, period furniture, metalwork, gardens and an orchard. The property is located in Kent and offers various activities such as vintage Christmas decorations at Chartwell from the 4th to 19th December as well as Percy the Park Keepers Winter Trail at some of the properties. Despite being situated down narrow lanes, visitors can park on a grass field near the house or use disabled parking further up.
Lovely National Trust property that is sometimes open. You can see 6 rooms across 2 floors plus their medium-sized garden. There were paper signs and volunteers in each room to provide more information. You can see in 20-30 minutes, though there is some seating in the garden to enjoy the scenery. No tea room. The car park is in a grassy field a short 2-4 minute walk - but up an incline from park to house.
Becky T — Google review
Really lovely place. The gardens were spectacular! Beautiful irises and peonies. It was a good for a couple of hours walk around. Would definitely recommend if you have National trust membership.
Kelly L — Google review
A little hidden gem in the Kent countryside. Not the biggest of houses in fact you could get round it in about 20 minutes. The grounds are very peaceful but yet again not the biggest but well kept. Unfortunately no cafe on site but there is one back up the road in Otham village hall. It is still a stunning property with a small team of enthusiastic welcoming staff. Car park is at the bottom of a short but steep hill. I was lucky enough to get into one of 3 disabled bays opposite the main entrance, yes I do have a badge. Certainly worth a visit if you have a spare hour or so. I enjoyed the tranquility of the place

Beautiful place. Always wanted to see it and was waiting for their opening season. It was nice to have a look inside this beautiful old house and we were told a history about this place by people who work there. All of them are very friendly and knowledgable. We were impressed by the beauty of the gardens. Loads of pathways to discover and walk around. Suitable for walk with kids. Will definitely come back again at summer time to see blooming flowers

This is an idyllic 15th century country cottage with a beautiful garden. We have visited many, many National Trust properties and this is one of the most charming. Catch it while you can! It's only open for part of the year and only on certain days of the week. Be aware that driving there takes you through narrow lanes and parking is in a field. There is quite a steep hill up to the house entrance but there is some disabled parking at the actual entrance where you can also drop off anyone who cannot quite manage walking up the hill.

Malta Inn Beefeater is a charming 3-storey clapboarded venue with waterside tables overlooking the locks. In Maidstone, you can enjoy local wines, beers, and ciders at various pubs. The town has a history of brewing, and you can sample drinks from Goachers Brewery and Shepherd Neame Brewery nearby. When dining at Malta Inn Beefeater, steak-lovers should try the mouth-watering Mixed Grill or Truffle Steak Burger from the menu.
"The ribeye steak was exceptional—so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. Huge kudos to the chef for such an amazing meal! We thoroughly enjoyed everything."

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish! We’d just checked in to the Premier Inn and decided to get some food, and from the moment we walked in we were welcomed into a friendly, calm, and peaceful atmosphere. Our server, David, was an absolute delight. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it’s honestly the best service we’ve had at a Beefeater in years. David struck the perfect balance – professional and attentive when taking our order, while also making us laugh with a few light-hearted jokes along the way. He really is a valuable member of staff, and his friendliness made the whole experience extra special. Thank you so much to the whole team – and especially to David – for such a lovely evening.

The Malta Inn Beefeater, nestled by the river, earns praise for its picturesque waterfront location, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. Many travelers enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, though some note dated decor. Service receives mixed reviews; while some find staff friendly, others experience slow service. Food opinions vary widely, with some enjoying tasty meals, but others encountering issues with quality and delays. Although the value is generally seen as reasonable, portion sizes and food consistency sometimes disappoint.
Keith D — Google review
Really good looking pub and at a great location. However, the food was terrible. 1) they did not have what we wanted to order 2) The service was not great as there were a lot of people going around not paying attention to customers calling to them, and we had to make an effort to get someone's attention on 5 different occasions. 3) the food was very poorly presented and not up to the standards we would expect, the nachos had barely drips of cheese on them, the mixed grill was very poorly cooked as the sausages were burnt from one side and nearly not cooked on the other side, the same for the gammon steak which was nearly burnt on one side and still had the white from the fat on the other. Additionally, the steak which i ordered medium was well done and also did not taste well at all, the chicken was burnt. All in all a bad experience for a very well placed pub. Will think twice before visiting again.

Extremely Disappointed -Burnt, Greasy Calamari at Beefeater I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to Beefeater was so disappointing that I feel it’s necessary to warn others. I ordered the calamari, expecting something light, crispy, and enjoyable. What I got was completely different - the calamari was overcooked to the point of being burnt, incredibly greasy, and almost inedible. The oil had pooled on the plate, leaving a slick, unappetising mess. The pieces were dry and hard on the outside yet unpleasantly chewy inside. Presentation was also poor,it looked like it had been carelessly thrown onto the plate without any thought. Even the lemon wedge provided looked tired and unappealing. The amount of oil on the dish made it feel heavy and unbalanced, completely missing the mark for what should be a fresh, tasty starter. For the price Beefeater charges, I expected much better quality and care in preparation. This was one of the worst calamari dishes I have ever been served, and it has definitely put me off ordering seafood here again. Verdict: Greasy, burnt, and poorly presented - definitely not worth the money.

We had a really lovely dinner. We ordered starters and mains, and everything came up correctly and the food was really tasty and hot. Melanie did a great job as our server, she was welcoming and friendly, and very attentive. This was very reassuring as one of our group has an extreme wheat allergy. We also enjoyed watching the sunset over the river! 🤩

I took my daughter to the Malta inn for her birthday, an early evening meal. We sat down at a table but was asked to move to a smaller area as they were only serving on that area, we were then shown to our table. The chairs were nothing short of disgusting! Also hairs stuck to the table side, we didn’t make a fuss as the area was clustered and busy with full tables. The food was quite nice BUT quite mean small portions. At the finish we offered up the discount code emailed to us only to be told that it doesn’t apply in the Malta Inn so be sure to check. Waiter David was a good guy.

Modern European restaurant
Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Earl Street, Maidstone, Wildwood is a stylish and modern restaurant that offers a delightful blend of European and international cuisine. This family-friendly eatery specializes in an array of dishes including pizza, pasta, and grilled options, making it a perfect spot for casual dining with loved ones. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal for enjoying a quick lunch or leisurely dinner.
I booked this place for my partner’s birthday a couple of months ago. From the food to the atmosphere, everything was spot on. The starters as well as the mains were exquisite, and the service was impeccable. We did get slightly interrupted by an unwanted guest (a bee), but the staff handled it well! The food we ordered was: calamari and bruschetta (for the starter) and steak+fries as well as seafood risotto. I could not recommend this place more!
Una O — Google review
I dropped in recently and had a pretty good dining experience. The atmosphere was spot on and the service team was incredibly friendly, making sure we felt taken care of throughout our meal. I really enjoyed the rib-eye steak, which was as great as I remember, though the dessert didn’t quite hit the mark for me. One small letdown was the drink selection; it would be awesome to see some non-alcoholic beer options. Overall, a solid visit that I'll definitely repeat!
George G — Google review
I popped in for a meal and was really impressed! The seafood risotto was packed with flavour, and the service was top-notch—everyone was super friendly and made sure I was enjoying my meal. The only letdown was the drink selection; I was hoping for some alcohol-free wine instead of a mocktail. Overall, the atmosphere and cleanliness were spot on, making it a lovely spot to unwind. I’ll definitely be back!

Leigh F — Google review
Food was excellent. The staff make it even more special. I had the seafood linguine which had so much seafood but just needed a bit more depth in flavour with the tomato sauce. Drink prices quite high but expected. As my daughter's birthday they also put a candle on her dessert.
Suzannah F — Google review
Service struck the right balance between efficiency and pestering. Also relaxed and very pleasant attentive service. Food; we had seafood linguine and seafood casserole....both were of a very good standard. Restaurant was quiet, bright enough and clean....was inviting.
Mary B — Google review
Went for a family meal with kids. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Well greeted on arrival with a smile. Good selection of drinks. Kids menu available. Requested for extra spicy Penne Arrabiata and the chef did not disappoint. Well presented, great service and importantly great tasting food. Caramelised onion and cheese on bread started is to die for! Ending with a great tasting Tiramisu! ❤️ Thank you and well done to the team.

Steak house
Argentinian restaurant
Buenos Aires Nights Steakhouse in Maidstone is a must-visit for those craving an authentic taste of Argentinian beef and wines. The restaurant features an impressive menu that allows diners to customize their steak, choosing the cut, cooking style, and accompaniments. With locations in Maidstone's High Street and Ashford's North Street, this eatery brings the flavors of Buenos Aires to Kent.
Four of us had our Christmas get-together here. It was our first time at Buenos Aires and it was absolutely wonderful. Great staff, excellent food and lovely atmosphere. Although I've given 5 stars, I do have two issues: No parking. It's slap bang in the middle of town so no parking outside. It's NOT cheap. Four people, four starters, four mains and four alcoholic drinks came to £300.48. But it definitely is worth a vist

I had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting dinner at Buenos Aires Nights in Maidstone, and it was an unforgettable experience! The four-course meal was expertly crafted, with each dish perfectly paired with a different wine. From the starter to the dessert, every bite was full of flavor, and the wine selections complemented the courses beautifully. The staff were knowledgeable and provided great insight into the wines, making the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. Highly recommend for wine and food lovers!

Me, my partner and my friend decided to visit BA Nights last minute and it did not disappoint! we had our puppies with us and we were allowed to sit and eat outside which was very accommodating! For starters I had the prawn gambas in garlic sauce, these tasted unreal, we also ordered the calamari and croquettes, the flavours were immense, the portion size and presentation was spectacular. For mains, me and my friend ordered the steak sampler and my partner ordered the Argentine experience platter. The steaks were cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth (especially the fillet). You can tell the chefs take great pride in their work as both platters looked amazing! The drinks menu’s offer a wide range of beautiful cocktails and wines that match perfectly with the steaks. The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant was so comfortable, I would recommend this restaurant to any steak lover or anyone looking to experience Argentinian fine dining. The service was top tier, worth every penny!

I was in Maidstone for business and took the opportunity to catch up with a couple of friends nearby. They suggested this place, known for serving delicious steaks, as they had been there already a couple of times. We started with a few smaller plates to nibble on and then went for the steak and experience platter options to share. The meat was overall well cooked and flavorful, and for the few pieces that weren’t quite perfect, the staff kindly offered to have the kitchen cook them a bit more — which we really appreciated. There weren't a lot of guests, so the atmosphere wasn't at best, but the service was attentive, and we ended up having a lovely evening. If you’re in Maidstone and looking for a good spot to enjoy quality steak with friends, this place is definitely worth a visit! I
Arnaud V — Google review
Food was excellent. We ordered a steak (surprise, surprise) sharer platter, which consisted of 4 decent sized slices of different types of steak. Wonderfully prepared. Staff was awesome. Very attentive and polite. 4 stars because of the prices. Not even complaining about a tad more expensive menu on the whole, however, if you're going to charge high end prices, then at least have decent size/quality portions of, say, salads. Main courses - fine, but at least step it up with sides/sauces and extra bits that come with the main course.
Petar P — Google review
I had an amazing experience at Buenos Aires Nights in Maidstone! The ambiance instantly transported me to the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was incredible — from the perfectly cooked steaks to the delicious empanadas, every dish was bursting with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive, and the whole evening felt like a celebration. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Argentine cuisine and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

For the majority of our visit we had the place to ourselves. Providing opportunity for conversation with the Manager, Service Staff and Chef. The second time I’ve been, on both occasions the food has been worth every penny. Very accommodating, friendly staff with a sense of humour makes the experience that little bit more personal.

Really lovely. Good value for money. Really friendly staff. Very helpful as I'm visually impaired. We had breakfast and a refillable hot drink. Breakfast was amazing, a good choice of breakfast, they do vegetarian/vegan breakfast, they do a small breakfast if you're not that hungry or a large breakfast if you're starving. You can add on extras. Lovely and clean, nice atmosphere and very busy. I would definitely recommend this Wetherspoons and use it again.

The sirloin steak was so juicy and perfectly cooked, while the alfredo pasta was creamy and indulgent. The beef burger had just the right amount of seasoning, and the British chicken wings were bursting with flavor. And let’s not forget the barbecue chicken melt - it was like a party in my mouth! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a meal with friends or a quiet dinner for two. And the service? Impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. If you’re in Maidstone, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to The Muggleton Inn. You won’t be disappointed.

Update December 2024 Good range of real beers, at very competitive prices, it's a shame other pubs can't match their prices. Update December 2023 Just reopened after refurbishment, not all beers were available as advertised. Very unlikely to be beaten on price. Update August 2023 Still has a great range of beers at low prices. Fantastic aray of beers at unbelievable prices. Very good breakfast and it won't break the bank!!! Great clean toilets.

If you're looking for a unique dining experience in Maidstone, look no further than Spoon, The Muggleton Inn! This restaurant has an incredible design that sets it apart from other establishments in the area. The staff are also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. The restaurant itself was quite clean, which was definitely a plus. However, I couldn't help but notice the ceiling, which appeared to have sustained rain damage. While it didn't detract too much from the overall atmosphere, it's certainly something that should be addressed. As for the food, I was quite impressed. While it did take a little longer than expected for my meal to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait. The dishes were piping hot and freshly made, and the flavours were quite good. All in all, this Wheterspoon in the city center of Maidstone is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. While there are some areas that could use improvement (like the ceiling), the food and atmosphere with the incredible decorations make up for it in spades.

Food was decent and very acceptable prices. Staff on bar very impatient and clearly done with being there though. Man can't take more than 3 seconds to pick what beer he wants these days? Atmosphere mixed - delightful lunchtime nanas with an assortment of professional full time drunkards.

We booked this venue for my Mother in laws wake yesterday. Everything was handled professionally from the initial booking to the great buffet they provided.Food was lovely, we had an open side room which led out to the large garden. We were really glad we chose The Fox & Goose and are going to return soon to dine from their tasty looking menu.

The standard of pub food in Bearsted in exemplary. Unfortunately, the Fox & Goose has to live in the shadow of its more established siblings. It is by all accounts and nice pub, but lacks the character of the likes of Oak on the Green. Service is enthusiastic, humble, accommodating and caring. It does need more attention and lacks the professionalism and Precision of its siblings. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was quality homemade food. The king prawn and crayfish vermicelli dish was my pick of the dishes. An Asian inspired dish packing bags of flavour from the sesame seed oils and spices. Delicious. The homemade pie was crumbly, and those boiled potatoes were melt in the mouth soft and flavoursome. Quality food, service needs tweaking, warm comfortable surroundings.

The academy features a barn owl that will fly from your hand and also houses a tawny frogmouth and meerkats. This family-run establishment provides an opportunity to get close to these magnificent creatures and gain insights into their natural hunting instincts.
What a wonderful experience. Syl and his team of Nick and Josh provided me with hands on experience holding various owls and imparting lots of interesting information. They were very knowledgeable and made the day absolutely fabulous. I could not have asked for more. Finishing the time with Tawny Owl flights - magnificent. I was bought a voucher as a present and then purchased an observer voucher so could take someone with to photograph my experience

An unforgettable experience! I had an amazing time at Kent Owl Academy. The staff were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Their knowledge and passion for the owls really shone through—it was fascinating to learn so much about these beautiful birds. You can tell they truly care about the animals and the experience of each visitor. I left feeling inspired and grateful for such a unique opportunity. Highly recommended!

I purchased the photography workshop as a gift for my dad, whose a twitcher, and he loved it. Me and my mum were allowed to be spectators and also really enjoyed the day with him. The birds were amazing and the staff were all very knowledgeable. It was apparent that they really care for the birds and animals they look after. Josh was able to answer all of our questions (and we asked many!). For his young age of 23 he knows a great deal about all of the birds. As my dad struggles now with energy at his age, Edward and Josh were happy to go at his pace, which he really appreciated. Id highly recommend this experience for bird photographers. The only improvement I believe they could make is to have a private area for the photography workshops, but I think space makes this difficult.

The staff were all so happy to be there, they were jolly, friendly and came across like a big happy family. Just loved it. Recommend to the highest possible degree! Go!

Refreshing pub food; what Market House does is take the concept of eating in at a pub in a different direction and I like it. It feels new, it’s only been a year since it was last refurbed. The restaurant section is humble, comfy, with loads of scatter cushions adorning the seating. The kitchen is visible too, which is cool and uncommon in a pub setting. Service is split between the pub and restaurant, it’s humble and caring. Food was delivered quickly. The food, I thought was bloody brilliant. What a great selection of dishes. Me, being fussy when it comes to choice had lots to tickle the taste buds. Their 5 starters for £22 is a winner and something that more pubs should have. It’s the pub’s equivalent of tapas. All food looked beautiful, well done Shepherd Neame chef. My pick of the dishes was the duck and sweet potato croquet. Refreshing, quality food, excellent value for money. The best pub food in Maidstone town centre.

Great Dog friendly place with the best staff and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back 10/10

Came here for a nice bite to eat and drinks and was very disappointed with the food. I ordered a steak sandwich and was basically given a rocket sandwich, there were two slivers of steak on each half and the slivers were cold and dry. My friend ordered a steak ”medium rare” that was pre sliced, dry and tough. Honestly, wouldn’t recommend the food, rather eat at home and then come for drinks cause the vibe is decent.

In Druids as a stopover on way to London. Great real ale at very reasonable price (4:50). Quite empty as weather is awful but still made to feel welcome. Always a good pop in pub for me.🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺👍🏻

First time for a while in this pub. The welcome was inviting & pleasent. Ethan was charming with great banter. Really enjoyed our visit with the food a great evening. Will come back.

The Druids is a welcoming, cozy pub in Maidstone town. All the bar staff are great and super hardworking and we love the Tuesday speed quiz hosted by Anne from the quiz people. Cookie dog is always welcome too which is great!

Little Fant Farm is a charming heritage cottage farm located in the picturesque Medway Valley Fruit Orchards, making it an ideal spot for families seeking a delightful day out. Spanning 16 acres of stunning farmland, visitors can enjoy seasonal activities like pumpkin, pear, and plum picking. The onsite shop offers freshly squeezed juice to quench your thirst after exploring.
We visited here recently after driving past many times and so glad we took a look. We went with our toddler. He loved the whole experience. So did we. It's only small but has a lovely atmosphere and nice selection of food, cakes, coffee and tea. All well priced and served by very friendly staff. Lots of seating and in warm weather you could take a picnic blanket too enjoy some family time. There's old tractors for kids to sit in. Our boy loved the goats and especially the ponies. They are adorable. Lovely to spend a few hours here together. So worth a visit. They have good toilet's too. Easy to get to near Farleigh Bridge and not far from Maidstone too. Amazing location. It's beautiful here with orchards all around too. We loved it. Will visit again.

A delightful cafe and farm shop with a farm trail and several farm animals. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had cream teas, and the scones were large, fresh, and warm. It's probably one of the best cream teas I have had. There is indoor (undercover) seating and some tables outside. You can wander around the farm trail and meet a few animals. It's a lovely setting, and we will definitely be back ❤️
Paula — Google review
A really lovely farm with plenty to do. We started with a wander around seeing the animals, there are two pigs, two Shetland ponies, two goats, geese & chickens. You can buy food & feed the pigs. We enjoyed a latte in the tea barn where you can also buy ice cream, cake, toasties etc. & other drinks. Then we got an empty punnet at the pick your own tent & went plum picking. Didn’t take long to pick lots of juicy ripe plums. My punnet was really heavy & cost £8. Going to make a crumble & some jam. Just up the hill on the farm is a beautiful patch of sunflowers & zinnias. Which you can pick & pay for after. In the autumn there are pears to pick & a pumpkin patch to enjoy. You can easily spend a few hours just leisurely enjoying the surroundings & don’t need to spend too much money

A truly unique place. The food is homemade and delicious. We had a family birthday tea here today with a beautiful strawberry sponge cake. The scones were fresh baked, and there was plenty of tea! The people serving were a delight. My grandchildren loved the play sand, tractor, and animals. Thank you for our memorable day from the 3 to 88 year old folk.

I visited last week, and was pleasantly surprised! One member of our group has a gluten allergy, but the staff catered brilliantly for us and made a gluten free cheese toasty especially, which was wonderful. All the pastries were home made and tasted good, and the staff were all happy and helpful. Would definitely reccomend and would go again!

When my (now) wife and I moved to Maidstone, we just went for a walk - no phones or online maps... And we stumbled upon this brilliant, family friendly, "must visit" Farm. The word "farm" doesn't quite do it justice - the open air, the scenery, the food and drinks at the cafe.. the animals - it's a unique place, I've not been somewhere like this before. The cakes and savoury food (sausage rolls, Cornish pasties..) are all homemade and you can tell! All served by a wonderful family and their friends. Definitely creates local work experience for the young adults also! Our lucky position near to this farm has actually dictated where we have chosen to now live, and raise our first child. Note - keep an eye on social media to see what's happening here! Note - possible to walk here from Upper Fant Road. Use the Farleigh Road entrance for parking.

We had my daughters 6th birthday party here today which was fantastic. Really great communication from Sonja before and excellent customer service whilst there. Our party host, Rose, was great with the kids, really calm and fun. The kids loved all the activities, poo picking was surprisingly popular! We 100% recommend a kids party at Little Farm.
Emma E — Google review
Little Fant Farm is a free great place to take the little ones for an adventure. The pumpkin patch was excellent and muddy! Lots of pumpkins! There are pigs, ponies, chickens and ducks. There is also a cafe which sells lovely homemade cakes and savouries with seating area and face painting. Lots of parking space and it’s dog friendly. Defiantly a nice morning or afternoon can be spent here. Recommend

The park offers various attractions such as adventure play areas, a treetop walk, and an outdoor arena. It was landscaped and planted with over 1,500 trees as part of the Millennium River Park project.
Its a great park with some cool stuff for kids not sure if would keep them entertained all-day. I assume the cafe is all good looks very nice.. All good,. Will amended over time......

A nice park with lots to see and do, e.g. tree-too walk, skate park, etc.
Sylvia H — Google review
Great park for the kids. The addition of the new skate park is cool. Love the boardwalk through the trees. My son loves fishing for tadpoles at the pond in spring (always put back in the pond afterwards when we leave). And we really enjoy the concerts at the amphitheatre. We regularly walk or cycle to this park via the lovely Millennium route. The only let down is the public toilets - filthy and dangerous as they're often used by 'undesirables' doing drugs (and other things!) in there.
Nicola C — Google review
I don't think we walked round the whole place. No parking available so find somewhere around the area. Plenty of access to and from Maidstone centre. The park is situated right next to Maidstone West station. A pleaant place to spend an hour in the sun with a busy river Medway running parallel with the park. We loved the little park, with the swings and sand for the little ones. Didn't see the Bigger park lol.

Beautiful place. We went to watch an outdoor cinema Well organized. The public toilets were something else though! No lights no toilet roll no doors on some so only 1 in use which had used sanitary products all over the floor

This is a nice park. It has a lovely kiddies play area and a covered band area. There isn't really any parking in the park but there is plenty near by (not free I'm afraid). There are toilets at the main entrance to the park but nowhere else. Also no cafe or refreshments at all. Perfect place for events such as open-air cinema and local fates

Having a wonder today and found this little gem. We had cherry pie with custard. The strawberry milkshake was perfect. Staff were lovely. Affordable prices. I didn't see any vegetarian dishes on the menu. But I didn't ask either. Not really suitable for wheelchair users. It would be possible, just slightly difficult. We would return if in the area again

I went to Café Beck yesterday with my son for a hot chocolate. I also got a coffee — pretty decent! I definitely have to come back for the English breakfast; it looked very fresh. The place gets quite busy, so you may have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it.

Cafe Beck? More like Cafe Best!! We attended the Cafe for a late breakfast and ordered the Kates Breakfasts x2 and Ice Cream Coffee Shakes x2, both were presented well and came to the table very quickly after ordering and piping hot! Evidently freshly prepared and with care! The coffee shakes are to die for, with a lovely rounded espresso and the creamy sweetness from the ice cream and caramel sauce! We will definitely be returning, with the price being affordable, portions and food being generous and delicious and the Ice Cream Coffee Shake will deffo be a regular order. Thank you Cafe Beck!!

OK so you want a good hearty breakfast and a lovely hot and yes hot chocolate then this is the place to go ... The food was 100%tasty well plated up and portion size was not to small or large but just right !!... As soon as you enter the cafe you are greeted politely and prompted to sit down and have table service brilliant The added bonus of seeing the chef/cook prepare your food in an open kitchen just shows how confident and passionate he is at what he does . If your local or passing through and want decent food at a decent price don't look any further Cafe Becks is the best 👌

Situated at the heart of the town, it provides comfort food and is located close to other popular real ale pubs like East Farleigh Social Club, Victory, Walnut Tree, Horseshoes, and Good Intent. Visitors have praised the attentive service from staff members like Kim and enjoyed dishes such as Beef and Ale pie.

We were seated at a round table which was lovely for a group of 5 people so we could all converse together. large dining area so don’t feel cramped in. Food was very nice, no complaints. Waitress was lovely and friendly. The only downside is if you pay by card and include a tip the tips don’t go to the waiting staff. Will definitely return, just remember to take cash for the waiters tips.

Always a family favourite for us! Had a lovely meal here last week whilst enjoying the pub garden and the kids loved the play area. The food was absolutely delicious – the nachos in particular were a great shared starter, generous with the toppings and full of flavour! A huge thank you to Ben the chef for the amazing food and to Debs, our waitress, who was so friendly - thanks for a great meal and looking after us guys! We’ll definitely be back very soon to try the new specials on the menu! Staff were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Most recent visit was an evening with friends. We booked in advance and all went smoothly. We all had our choice of meal, and were served with friendly, helpful staff. They had alcohol free lager available, and as I was driving, it was welcomed. Friends both enjoyed their steak. I had the mushroom and ale pie as I'm vegetarian, and it was tasty. My only disappointment was the amount of black pepper grains in the mash. It was festooned! I like pepper in my mash but would choose a white pepper, to keep it smooth. That aside, it was a lovely evening and we plan to meet at The Bull next time, too.
Gwen P — Google review
My wife and I had been going to the Bull 2-3 times a week since 1996, until moving to Canterbury in 2021. Always enjoying the, beer, food and atmosphere promoted by the good humoured staff, most of which I, even now, class as friends. Since moving away we have still frequently visited,(my father in laws favorite),when visiting my father in law. However the last 2 visits have been pretty abysmal. The atmosphere more inner city drinking hole, staff giving the impression that they had more important things to do like "vaping". The beer,(Abbott), was well below par, for an otherwise great beer. Then we come to the food! I know the Bull is never going to be Michelin starred. We ordered the basic but British staple, Fish and chips. Now to put you in the picture, I am an ex head chef, executive head chef, development chef and area catering manager for some national and international companies, including the pub restaurant trade, over the last 50+ years, so I have some knowledge of what I am talking about. I know most of the menu is pre- prepared, cooked and packaged in a factory style kitchen elsewhere, but at least get the few dishes you cook on site right. Deep frier oil should be strained and replaced regularly, basic kitchen protocol. What was served to us was pretty dire, to say the least, photos attached. Because this was my father in laws treat for us this time, we didn't want embarrass him, so refrained from complaining. The experience doesn't end there, the chef,(!!!!), and some kitchen staff then came out of the kitchen to go to the bar...basic food hygiene course needed all round
Nev G — Google review
For price, food was on point, mixed grill was decent and sticky toffee was lush. Jade's service was 10/10 big smiles and lots of energy. Top marks.

The spacious boat provides clear views and a quieter atmosphere than other boats. Guests can enjoy drinks from the bar, use onboard facilities, and even have meals served efficiently during the journey. Customers appreciate the accommodating service provided by the staff.
A lovely way to see The River Medway And some parts of the town and countryside The Kentish lady runs from April to October, and as I did, I caught the 1 hrs return cruise,There is also a 3 hrs cruise ad well. And i believe you can hire the boat for group parties, the boat has plenty of seating and has hot/cold drinks and snacks available, also a toliet is onboard. The staff were great and very welcoming. Also the wifi signal isn't great so if you want to pay by cash instead of card might be better..

I’ve been on the Kentish lady for a river trip about 6-7 times now. Each time has been a brilliant experience to see the river Medway. You can get on at either Allington lock at the Malta inn pub or on in Maidstone town centre. You can do either a one way trip or a return trip. A return trip is approximately 1 hour. You can some great views of the river and also commentary telling you about the different landmarks. It’s definitely worth doing at least once. They also hire out little river cruiser boats that you can drive yourself and explore the river Medway. I would really like to do this but it is very expensive to hire out the boats. Hopefully one day we will get to do this.

Very last minute booking and Nick could not have been more accommodating! We arrived, were given our safety instructions and welcomed onto the boat which held 8 of us. What a wonderful trip and at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to doing it again soon! Thanks Guys Ruth

I went on The Kentish Lady River Cruise today (Aug 29th 2024). This was my first time and it was thoroughly enjoyable. It was extremely organised with getting us onto the boat to ensure there was no scrambling, and that parties got to sit together.. They were knowledgeable about the area and very happy to explain how the locks work and why! A very pleasant 3 hours of peace without being able to use your mobile phone. And the weather and fish and chips lunch just topped the day off. I would definitely recommend The Kentish Lady, and I will definitely book another cruise with them in the future. Much appreciated and thank you. Hayley

I had a lovely day out on the river with my friends. Food was good and the crew were very friendly. The company had been told beforehand that one of our party would be in a wheelchair. Unfortunately, as a full-time wheelchair user I felt like I was in the way. I had to be put in a space where I was facing sideways whilst everyone else was facing forward or backwards, but it made me feel quite queasy. I tried to move a little bit so I was kind of facing a little bit forward but I was asked not to block the aisle for safety reasons. There was not a designated wheelchair space which was quite disappointing. I also had a table beside me, which was where they put the fruit for after lunch, and I felt I was in the way as people were trying to get to the fruit. I think that maybe this company hasn’t had much experience of having a wheelchair user on their boat but as an advocate for people with disabilities I feel that I should point these problems out. I didn’t want to make a fuss at the time as I was with friends and we were having a lovely time. I am sure that as they are such a good company who want people to have an enjoyable experience that they will start to look at the way they deal with wheelchair users in the future.
Theresa E — Google review
The staff where amazing. I book this as a birthday treat for me and a group of friends one with a wheelchair. I was extremely satisfied with the service we recieved. The wheelchair was stored away in a locked garage safe.On the boat the service was outstanding. The crew supplied us with plenty of local history. The bar prices where so reasonable. The fish and chips where amazing. They offered us support onto and off the boat which isn't something you get anywhere else the comfort of their passengers was their priority. I highly recommend this trip 3 hours of pure bliss and relaxing atmosphere. They were very accomadating.

Great place to watch a game and have a few drinks, always have offers on drinks. Originally I'd said that the only minor improvement needed could be to have heat lamps in the smoking area however after the response from the owner I have had to adjust my review. Although they have heat lamps I was outside in the smoking area for roughly an hour a few days before christmas and I wasn't the only one feeling cold saying they could really use those heat lamps so maybe they weren't out? Or turned on? No one could see any lamps either or is there another smoking area apart from the area outside your entrance? Happy to correct this review as many times as necessary I want to be fair.

Good place to watch sports with plenty of seating and screens to choose from. Shame they've got a very limited beer selection otherwise I'd probably go to watch more sport. You can get a decent pint of Guinness here, which is always a good thing. Beer garden out the back with screens so you can have a durry while not missing any of the action. Not bad a place at all though.

We accidently found this place whilst looking for a different bar for some drinks early on a Friday night. The staff were really friendly and welcoming - we'd never been before but didn't feel like outsiders at all. The children have asked if we can go again but next time spend the whole day, playing all of the different games available. We will definitely return for more family fun!

I went for a wrestling event, during the day, so it was sparsely attended and little atmosphere. However, I had cause to order a pizza for the kids (they seemed happy) and the staff were cordial and most helpful...more than one can expect from youngsters today. Went to Ballin' for the England vs France game. You can clearly tell they went to a lot of effort to make it as good as they could. It was decorated really well with flags etc and also they even had the temperature inside spot on. The queues at the bar weren't too long either. The doormen were really efficient in helping me out after someone was being a really big pain and even took the time to chat to me after, apologizing about him being the way he was. All in all my experience was a reminder of how it used to be ten/fifteen years ago when places were a really good atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend coming here for when a sports event is on.

Do NOT try to book the Source bar or the Spirit lounge for a private event. The business hasn’t filed taxes for 4 years and its current status is ‘Active proposal to strike off’ (in the process of being dissolved) and as a result is not being operated properly. They will take your money for the booking, and then be impossible to contact after that. They will ignore all your e-mails and never answer the phone. When I eventually got hold of the owner one week before my wife’s birthday (obviously too late, had already had to organise somewhere else) he said everyone that worked for the company had been in Spain for several weeks due to a ‘family emergency’ and he’d give me my money back. Obviously I could never get hold of him again after that and never saw the money. Typical behaviour of people whose businesses are all being dissolved. Avoid!

Absolute filth and not in a good way. Bouncers are probably the only thing I had nothing bad to say about. Drink are not good. No good beers and Pepsi, says it all. I apparently it used to be the place to go but now it's a place to avoid!
Matthew H — Google review
I love this place and have always come most weeks for a few years . Always got along with the bouncers and staff however a new female door lady has left me never wanting to return due to her rudeness . I understand door staff need to be firm . I also work in a lively venue and see the good work doorstaff do and why there a necessity to our nightlife . But this was such an unpleasant experience . She spoke to me like absolute s**t. She is someone who is clearly taking advantage of the authority she has . BULLY!

Decent venue, decent playlist, but only one gripe. Was told by staff when buying my first drink, "ask for the cheaper brand and get the cheaper drink." Did exactly that for my third drink but got charged for the expensive brand. Well jokes on you source. You could've gotten several drinks out of me for 4 quid each, but you'd rather do the quick steal and do one drink for 7. At least I know not to do my drinking here in future Long story short, if I wanted to be ripped off, I would've gone to those swindlers that call themselves B**rk*ller PS, my whole party left soon after that, so joke really is on you

Best nightclub in Kent! Since moving to London I remember the beginning of my clubbing days at Source Bar and it makes me appreciate the good times I had there - so many good DJs too from Shadow Child to Annie Mac! So many good times, I was living in Gillingham with family but this place was always worth the bus/taxis there and back 😍😆

Brewery
Goachers Brewery Limited, located in Maidstone, has a rich history of brewing and continues to provide local brews to the area's hostelries. The brewery offers a variety of exceptional beers such as Fine Light, Old Ale, Stout, Mild, and Dark Ale. The dedication of Phil and Debbie is evident in the consistently high quality of their products. Additionally, Goachers played a pivotal role in reviving The Little Gem in Aylesford by rescuing and reopening it.
Flavourful, fresh beers, brewed locally using Kentish hops, by an independent, family-run brewery. Well worth a taste whenever you see it! 🍻

Goachers supplied us with Silver Star for our wedding. It was delicious and went down a treat with our guests! Highly recommend these guys. Thank you, Goachers x

Moved to Aylesford in 2020 and eagerly awaited the opening of the Little Gem pub in the village, where we were introduced to Goacher’s ales. I’ve now tried them all and love the seasonal changes, especially the much anticipated green hop! Never had a bad pint and always had a warm welcome at the Gem and Rifle Volunteer.

I love real ale. I love a pint (many) of Goacher's. I support my local micro pub 'The Papermill' who usually have a good selection of ales and ciders on. Usually at least one Goacher's on. My favourite is probably the mild. But I do love the entire range that is brewed. Full of flavour which is always high quality and most importantly consistent.

Fine and Light is absolutely great. Just need more pubs to sell instead of mass produced stuff normally available. Favourite local place is the Little Gem in Aylesford.

The RPM is my local pub . It’s warm and friendly and Trudy and Mark are very welcoming to regulars and new customers . There’s also a nice beer garden which is a real sun trap in the summer . I always feel welcome when I walk in the door and have made some good friends in there 😁

During my formative years I came across Goachers Gold star and I was hooked , it then began a passion for home-brewing and I eventually worked as an assistant brewer at a local microbrewery, I can honestly say every pint of Goachers I have ha,d be it Fine light , Old ale, Stout, Mild or Dark ale has been constantly good and a testament ti the hard work of Phil and Debbie , I know first hand how difficult it can be to survive and to maintain high standards and Goachers are the example to follow. And continuing the fine brewing tradition of Maidstone , the first and oldest microbrewery in Kent , long may you continue ! 🍺🍻

The Little Gem, Aylesford wouldn’t exist without Goachers. It was closed and left to rot, but rescued, repaired and reopened by Goachers, whose splendid ales are now enjoyed by all who visit, and the many who become regulars. No dining area, no Sunday Roasts, just good ales, good company, occasional entertainment, and a cozy atmosphere.
