Barbecue restaurant
Located at the intersection of Little Five Points and Candler Park on Dekalb Avenue, Fox Bros Bar-B-Q is a renowned BBQ spot in Atlanta. Founded by Texan brothers Jonathan and Justin Fox, this eatery offers slow-roast ribs, pulled pork, and Southern sides in a casual setting with a patio. Their style of BBQ blends Texas influences with a southern touch.
What an amazing place to eat smoked and grilled food. Everything is well cooked and served in time. The service is fenomenal. There is in and outdoor seating enough for large groups. I would recommend inside. If you are in this area, you should come and try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Found a super popular spot nearby that serves fried chicken & BBQ 🍗🔥 The place gets packed fast! I had my eyes on the Smoked Chicken, but sadly it was already sold out 😢 So I went for the Classic Combo (2 meats & 2 sides) instead. I picked two Beef Briskets — one lean and one fatty. The French guy sitting next to me highly recommended the fatty cut, and wow… he was right. It literally melts in your mouth 🤤✨ The sauces were just okay, but honestly, the brisket was already flavorful enough without them. For sides, I chose Potato Salad 🥔 and Mac & Cheese 🧀. The potato salad was hearty and filling, while the mac & cheese was absolutely delicious — creamy, cheesy, and comforting in every bite 😍 Overall, super satisfied! Next time, I’ll definitely come earlier to finally try that Smoked Chicken 🙌

Undeniably some of the BEST Barbecue I have ever had. The spare ribs were outstanding, wish I had ordered a whole rack! The baked beans were perfectly cooked, the BBQ sauce selection was exemplary, and the service was very quick. Super great atmosphere and smells like heaven! Perfect spot for fantastic Southern BBQ, a must have if you’re in ATL.

Love this place. Weve come here for over 10 yrs. Haven't been in few yrs since its a far drive. But we popped in last night & its still great. The brisket is definitely my favorite. Gotta always get the 1/2 & 1/2 fried jalapeño & pickles app. We thought we would have to wait 30min. But was lucky & immediately got a table for 2. Still great all this time.
ValleyWest — Google review
Wow. This was some GREAT bbq. The portions are HUGE so plan accordingly. We tried walking up and it was a 40 minute wait since prepared. Overall, really good place for some high quality meats, alongside great service and atmosphere. If I go to Atlanta again, I know for sure where to go!

Really great BBQ place. But very very very busy. Ribs were least favorite. Sauces amazing. Fried okra was nice surprise. The bread pudding, please don't miss this one. Prices are very fair. I'll be back. A lot!

Chicken. Fried. Ribs. I brought a group of five here on a hope and a prayer that this place was legit, and it did not disappoint. Tiffany was our server, and she did an amazing job, and was super funny. 10/10 - chicken fried ribs. First things first, the chicken fried ribs were unreal. Tender, not overcooked, excellent flavor from the fried exterior. The white barbecue sauce with the drizzle of their regular barbecue sauce, set it off perfectly. Everyone at the table could not stop talking about these ribs. Excellent appetizer. Comes with three good sized ribs. 9/10 - brisket. I opted for a massive slice of fatty brisket. The fat was rendered very nicely, good bark. Only complaint is the brisket was slightly dry, but the flavor was still on point. 10/10 - smoked chicken wings. I'm always leery of smoked chicken wings, because I believe crispy and fried is generally best, however the spicy barbecue "wet" wings had excellent flavor and texture, and everything was still juicy inside. Also let's talk about the side of blue cheese that they give you; the cup they give you on the side is GENEROUS. 10/10 - tots. They were standard tots... Crispy, salty, delicious. Excellent with the white barbecue sauce. Nothing special or unique, but that's why you get them topped with brisket chili or brunswick stew. 9/10 - brisket chili. This is a solid chili, but I do wish there were bigger chunks of brisket, and maybe some tomato chunks or veggies in the chili. 10/10 - banana pudding. Exactly what you want out of banana pudding. Crunchy nilla wafer, creamy, nice banana flavor. Only thing that could make this better is some whipped cream, but that's ultimately not an expectation with banana pudding. **I was not coerced or incentivized to leave this review. I'm just a raving fan now.

Awesome BBQ joint! Great food with amazing staff! My favorite was the brisket and pulled pork! The sides didn't disappoint either! Brunswick Stew was very delicious.

Restaurant
Community Q BBQ in Decatur offers a low-fi space with counter service and lively country decor. The restaurant is known for its succulent ribs served on a large platter, creating an aristocratic dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with the aroma of smoke filling the air as guests enjoy their meals. The menu features smoked meats, sandwiches, sides, salads, and pudding for dessert.
This is a little hole in the wall spot and it was amazing! Hubby and I both ordered their brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and collard greens. The brisket was super tender, the mac was nice and cheesy and the greens were shockingly good! They also had this vinegarette stuff on the tables that when mixed with their BBQ sauce gave the perfect tangy taste to the meet. The staff was very pleasant and our food was ready fast. If you happen to be in the area I highly recommend checking this place out!

We had an amazing experience. My family really enjoyed the food. I looked on line and saw great reviews. My family was here visiting and wanted barbeque. They are picky and they all enjoyed the food. Spoke to the owner Liz very friendly and made great suggestions since I'm a vegan. Our server was Will again they are over the top. Food and service TOP NOTCH!

Yeah! They are absolutely amazing. The service, the space, the ambiance and atmosphere gives cozy as soon as you walk in. Chicken was tender juicy succulent. Greens aren’t oily. Great texture not soft. The bake Mac & cheese lol definitely a great go to. Baked through al dente indeed. Beautiful people, beautiful place. I will be going back very soon. Thank you guys!!! Shout out to the crew & the establishment.

Loved the BBQ here! The brisket was the star – super tender, packed with flavor, and that smoky taste was just perfect. Honestly, I’d come back just for the brisket. The rest was great too, but that brisket hit different!
Yibin Z — Google review
Ribs have a wonderful char on top that brings out the flavors of their rub. The bone in chicken is JUICY. Brisket is tender and smokey. All of the sides we tried are pretty good. More cheese in the mac and we can make this place a regular, ours was mostly noodles and butter. The baked beans were tasty and meaty, and could be a meal. Collards were tender and well seasoned. Coleslaw is good but I can do without the onions even though it's not overpowering the slaw. Will return.
Rob J — Google review
Great ribs and brisket! The other meats are good as well, but definitely try the ribs first. We got some Brunswick stew to take home since it was perfect as well. And the service was excellent with some good music in the background.

Stopped in for late lunch after long day of traveling. Ordered the brisket sandwich and potato salad. Brisket was beautiful. Little light on smoke flavor, but near flawless. Well done fellas! Potato salad hit the spot to!

I was craving BBQ and googled a few restaurants before choosing to go with CBBQ. The drive there was 40 minutes and WORTH IT. I got a Rib combo with sliced brisket, mac n cheese, baked beans and banana pudding. My total was $30. The ribs were SPECTACULAR. I already want to go back for a full slab. The brisket was good. The first few slices were tender and seasoned well, but the last three slices were dry. The Mac n cheese is extremely cheesy and creamy. I loved it. The baked beans had a smoky bbq flavor. Never tasted anything like it, but I liked it! The person who took my order was extremely friendly and welcoming. However, I took off a star as my one complaint/issue is the portion size. I ordered the banana pudding and it was $4.50. It was the smallest portion size I’ve seen for a dessert. Maybe 4 spoon fulls. It was the same size of the sides that came with dinner, and I, too, thought they were too small for the amount of money paid. For $30, you’d hope for leftovers, but nope, I ate it all, no crumbs. Great BBQ. Just wish the sides and desserts were larger. I’ll be back for more ribs.

Southern restaurant (US)
Restaurant
Mary Mac's Tea Room is a beloved Atlanta institution that has been serving up Southern comfort food since the 1940s. Despite its closure during the pandemic, this classic eatery remains a staple in the city's dining scene. Known for its homey atmosphere and traditional Old South cooking, Mary Mac's offers a menu filled with hearty dishes like Brunswick stew, fried pork chops, chicken and dumplings, and fried oysters.
Mary Mac’s delivers a true Southern dining experience that feels like stepping back in time. From the start, we were treated to a small bowl of pot likker (the flavorful broth from boiled greens) served with cornbread and rolls. It was rich, comforting, and a delicious way to begin the meal. For appetizers, we tried the fried livers, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked—absolutely excellent. My husband ordered the chicken and dumplings with sweet potatoes. While the flavor was spot on, the dish could have used a bit more chicken. I had the fried chicken wings with collard greens and fried green tomatoes, and everything was tasty, especially the greens. Portions were very generous, leaving us with plenty for leftovers that night. The atmosphere is warm, nostalgic, and full of Southern charm, making the experience just as memorable as the food. Service was friendly and efficient, adding to the welcoming feel. Overall, Mary Mac’s is a must-visit for anyone craving hearty Southern comfort food. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in Atlanta!

Mary Mac’s Tea Room was such a memorable first experience with true Southern comfort food! Our waitress, Cali, was absolutely wonderful — she took the time to explain the menu, gave us great recommendations, and even brought out samples of collard greens so we could try them for the first time. I ordered the fried chicken with green beans and sweet potato mash, and everything was cooked to perfection. The whole meal felt homemade and comforting. Such a welcoming spot with amazing food and even better hospitality!
San N — Google review
I came here by myself in the late afternoon to grab a bite to eat. Prior to coming to Atlanta I asked a local where to get the best fried chicken and they recommended this place. After leaving, I swore to myself, I would never eat again. Not because the food was bad, but because it was very rich, filling, and I ate way too much of it. There was a short wait when I arrived so they served me complementary sweet tea in the lobby. I was taken to my table and amazed at how large the places, with many different rooms where people were dining. I sat down and the server kindly explained the ordering process. She brought me more sweet tea, a basket of bread, And a sample of their soup with collard greens since it was my first time in. I ordered the smothered chicken and sides of mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, grits, and peach cobbler for dessert. All of it was incredible, but I had no business eating that much gravy in one sitting. They are not lying when they say the chicken is smothered. The chicken was amazing and my favorite part of the dish. My least favorite part was the grits, but I don’t think they were bad, they were just a very plain.

Authentic southern cuisine with great price and service. Over 80 years being one of the best. You just need to come and try it yourself. Beautiful decor and phenomenal environment. I loved the menu, but make sure to ask any question about your dish before you order if you are not sure, they will gladly take their time and even recommend for you. Decent size parking lot and plenty of room inside. I would recommend to reserve on weekends. Would def comeback and recommend this place to friends and family.

October 2025 We came here after strong recommendation from our hotel staff. We were seated quickly on a wobbly table and we asked for a change. Our request was met swiftly and the staff changed the wobbly table. A good sign that they know their guests experience is important. Our waiter identified we were first time guests quickly and without hesitation cornbread was served. He also recommended some of the signature items on the menu. Our food arrived impressive timely. We were very please with our selection and the recommendations on their large selection of side dishes. Fried chicken is a must try and the devil eggs were delicious. My rating as 5 is very satisfied Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Attentiveness and courteous 5/5 Highly recommended and will love to revisit. This is a well run southern cuisine establishment.

Atlanta born and raised, but I visited for the first time on their 80th anniversary. 🤷🏿‍♀️ Went for the free peach cobbler offered. 🍑😊 First timers get a free sample pot likker. The mac and cheese was... interesting. Not used to the taste. The chicken was dry despite the gravy. 😑🍗 I had to request hot sauce. The tea was super sweet.🥤 The cabbage and rolls were good. The cornbread was okay. The dressing was decent. The cranberry sauce made it 😋. And of course the cobbler was not as good as mine. I still may visit again to try another item. Loved the decor and history at every turn. From the hosts, to the bus boy and my server- the customer service was 🙌🏿👍🏿

First time in Atlanta and Mary Mac’s Tea Room was recommended by our tour guide for its fried chicken, peach cobbler, and other southern treats. Spot on! The fried chicken was crispy and moist without too much batter! I paired it with fried okra bites and collard greens with a sprinkle of pepper sauce. Topped it off with a peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream for my version of a delicious southern meal! Shout out to our server Travon who took good care of us first-timers!

My grandma and grandpa used to go here when my dad was a child….When my grandpa was studying and grandma was working across the street. It was nice to be able to go here with my family for the first time and hear stories from my grandpa, even though we were here a couple hours before close, they were still extremely patient with us. And they were able to manage my cousin’s celiac disease very well. Thank you for the nice family dinner and good southern food! The chicken was amazing - somehow still so juicy even though it was fried

It offers a modern and lively ambiance with an open kitchen, serving contemporary Southern cuisine for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The menu features inventive takes on classic Southern dishes, including gluten-free options. Average 40/person. Great food great portion. I tried the chicken liver as appetizer. Fried chicken and shrimp and grits as entree. Everything is authentic and perfect. The grits make my stomach feel warm. Shrimps sue good quality. Finally can’t forget the free but unique cornbread . Totally recommend!

Our brunch experience was absolutely fabulous. We started with cocktails, and both the Country Thyme Lemonade and the Midtown Mary were perfectly balanced. The Lemonade was light, crisp, and refreshing—not too sweet—exactly how I like it. Much like the deviled eggs, every flavor felt thoughtfully balanced and delicious. When it came to food, both plates impressed. The King Biscuit was a hearty, flavor-packed sandwich—generous in size and not overly salted like so many places. I loved it; the only thing that could have made it even better would’ve been a touch more sausage in the gravy. Then there was That Sandwich—and wow. The bread was perfectly toasted, the egg cooked exactly to order, and the city ham was incredible. The sauce tied it all together beautifully, making every bite memorable. Finally, a special shout-out to AJ, our bartender. Sitting at the bar made the meal even better—AJ’s warm, fun energy created such an inviting atmosphere that elevated the whole experience. Balanced flavors, standout dishes, and amazing service—this brunch hit all the right notes. Can’t wait to come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SOUTHERN COMFORT PERFECTION! Y'all, I've found fried chicken heaven at South City Kitchen! Showed up early for my lunch res and they welcomed me like family—even checked my luggage (true Southern hospitality right there). THE FOOD: Fried green tomatoes? Tangy-savory perfection. The fried chicken deserves its own fan club—juicy meat, shatteringly crisp exterior, and their housemade hot sauce is EVERYTHING. Collards retained actual texture (hallelujah!) and those buttermilk biscuits should be illegal. INSIDER TIP: They're super accommodating with allergies and the patio seating is primo. Yes, it's a bit $$$, but sometimes you gotta splurge for the best Southern food in Atlanta. Worth. Every. Penny.
Geronimo R — Google review
Delicious! The food here is very southern and exquisite. While the pork chop and shrimp is good, the star of the show is clearly the side dishes: biscuits, corn bread and fabulous grits. I never thought I'd write about succatash, but, wow, it was fantastic. Topping it off were really wonderful drinks including a blood orange spritzer (not clear if that was the proper name). Very well presented and fun outdoor patio.

Absolutely amazing! The food presentation, flavor, creativity of menu ingredients all exceeded expectations! Rosalee provided a level of service I have not received in a very long time. Her service along with the food a cocktails made for a phenomenal brunch experience in ATL.

Food was delicious and so fresh. Cornbread and biscuits melt in your mouth. Would highly recommend the crab cakes, as a NE girlie I was pleasantly surprised by the crab cakes. The market fish was also perfectly cooked and I loved the red pepper sauce.

We found this restaurant on a whim, thanks Google! We really loved it because of its Farm to table style using fresh ingredients and a great fresh twist on Southern classics. We will be back tomorrow! The service was fantastic and our waiter was charming with a southern class. Things were running a little bit slow but that's because the place was so packed full of other hungry diners.

Ray's on the River offers an intimate dining experience with stunning views of the Chattahoochee River in Sandy Springs, Atlanta. The restaurant serves elevated Southern seafood dishes and provides a scenic escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Guests can enjoy fresh oysters, New Orleans BBQ shrimp, and a variety of wines while taking in the picturesque surroundings. The outdoor patio is perfect for savoring gourmet bites from their extensive menu, making it a must-visit spot for outdoor dining enthusiasts.
My first visit here was with two good friends for a business dinner, and it couldn’t have been better. The restaurant is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The wine selection is outstanding, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. We ordered “family style” so we could share and taste more dishes together. The oysters were fresh and fantastic, and the steaks arrived exactly as we ordered them—perfectly cooked (something many restaurants often miss, but not here!). A truly memorable evening in every way. I’ll definitely be back!

We were celebrating my beautiful friend's birthday. The view from our table was breathtaking as you can see in the pictures. Our waiter was a very experienced older man who was very pleasant. He took very good care of us. We shared a calamari and the fish tacos. It all was so tasteful and done to perfection. I do wish though when they know it is a birthday that they would serve some sort of dessert to the birthday person. It was a delightful lunch.
Beverly N — Google review
Went to Ray’s to celebrate my birthday with my best friend and had an AMAZING TIME!!! 🎉 We arrived right at 5 and had no trouble finding free parking in the main lot. Our table was ready exactly at our reservation time, which was a great start. Our waitress, Britney, was so sweet and attentive! She gave us some great recommendations, and we decided on the Blackened Salmon and the Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain with creamed spinach and lobster mac & cheese. The food was absolutely delicious — the mac & cheese was just okay, but everything else was perfection. The property itself is beautiful! 🌿 The river and garden views make such a stunning backdrop for pictures, and everyone we encountered was super friendly. Overall, it was such a wonderful birthday dinner and an experience I’d happily recommend!

I mean it’s Ray’s what else do you need to know? If you ask me, they should be bestowed a cultural asset. I love that however busy they are, I still feel like I’m the only guest there and to me that’s what true customer service is about. Service is always 10/10.. food can be a miss sometimes but they’re always willing to make changes to make sure you have a great food experience so that’s not an issue. It’s a great spot for any occasion - date night, girls night, family hangout, etc. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Their wine collection is so dreamy!

My boyfriend and I visited Ray’s for our four year anniversary. We had calamari and rolls for our appetizers and the ribeye and filet mignon with lobster mac & Brussels for our entrees. All of it was delicious and although my boyfriend CJ’s steak wasn’t cooked to his liking, our server Tangie took it back to the kitchen for it to be cooked longer and then it was perfect. We really appreciated our server Tangie and the management team coming to check on us during service. We also received a complimentary anniversary dessert. Thanks everyone for a great experience!

From the moment we arrived at Rays on the River, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning — the soft lighting, the view of the river, and the warm, welcoming ambiance created the perfect backdrop for a memorable dinner. But what truly made the night exceptional was our server, Britney. She was an absolute star! From the very beginning, Britney greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel completely taken care of. Her attention to detail was impeccable — she anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask. She offered great recommendations for both food and wine, and every single one was spot on. Britney struck that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth — attentive without hovering, friendly without being overbearing. It’s rare to find someone who can make a fine-dining experience feel both elegant and personal, but she did it effortlessly. The food, of course, was outstanding — fresh seafood and great sides that were worth every bite. But it was Britney’s incredible service that elevated the evening from great to unforgettable. If you’re visiting Rays on the River, do yourself a favor and ask for Britney. She’ll make sure your night is nothing short of perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

My experience at Rays on the River was phenomenal. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every detail of our visit was seamless. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall, it was an exceptional experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary!♥️ we had reservations and was greeted and celebrated at the arrival of the restaurant. Location of our table was right by the river it was so romantic. We had calamari and shrimp, oysters, red fish and seafood platter with Brown cake. Everything was really tasty. The seafood platter was undercooked, however everything else excellent! Didn’t want to complain, took it home and remade it the next day. Wasn’t as good, I made the best out of it. Waitress & waiter were great!!

Asian fusion restaurant
Poor Calvin's, located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, is a modern and intimate eatery that offers a unique fusion of Asian and Southern cuisine. Since its establishment in November 2012, this restaurant has been known for its creative and innovative menu, featuring dishes like lobster mac and cheese, curried duck, and crispy Brussels sprouts with an Asian twist. The combination of Asian flavors infused with Southern comfort food creates a delightful experience for diners looking to surprise their taste buds.
We first came to Poor Calvin’s about 4 years ago for date night and loved it so much that we always said we would come back. My husband surprised me by bringing me back here for my birthday this year, and it was just as amazing as we remembered. He ordered the Grass Fed Australian Lamb Chops and I had the Lobster Fried Rice. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. For appetizers, we had the Fried Calamari and the Seafood Spring Rolls. The portions were generous, and we were so full from the starters that we only had a few bites of our entrées at the table and took the rest home. The service was excellent throughout the evening. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and when she found out I was celebrating my birthday, she surprised me with a cute little dessert and a candle. That personal touch made the night feel extra special. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was top-notch. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a night out, Poor Calvin’s never disappoints. Highly recommend!

This was my third time here and surprise surprise, I enjoyed everything! It can be a little hectic sometimes, but this place is amazing. The crab beignets may have been my favorite from the small bites. We got the scallop and lobster drunken noodle and it was great, I wish the scallops were seasoned a little more or marinated to soak in some flavor. PHO cocktail may be my new favorite cocktail ever. Overall 10/10. Highly recommend and our server Ariel last night was so great! She broke down the flavor palette of the drinks and food so well. Come here ready to eat and with a desire to try new things, they do fusion right here!

Awesome Experience. My very first time trying them and I must say I was impressed. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and what to order based off what you had a taste for. The drinks were very good and packed a punch. The food was great and plentiful. I ordered the Drunken Scallops and Seafood and it was delicious. A tad Pricey but definitely worth the experience. Only negative is the seating on the inside is small and tight especially if you want more of an intimate setting

If you have high expectations of this restaurant then your expectations will definitely be met. We walked in for our 7pm reservations and were met with friendly staff and a grown and sexy vibe. The dimly lit establishment isn't too big or small, perfect for an intimate dinner. Our waiter, Gavin was amazing! He was very personable and professional. He was knowledgeable of the menu, giving us the spotlight entrees of the evening and taking our order, and even gave us great suggestions based on what we liked. The food?! Omg, you will be thoroughly pleased. Everything came out on time, hot, fresh, and a healthy amount. Everything has a unique flavor and was absolutely delicious. The drinks accommodated our meals perfect. Not too strong, but definitely strong enough to make a good night better. Lol. All In all definitely put this on your list.

Delicious meal! Definitely make a reservation because this placed gets booked and packed. Our reservation was at 8 and we weren’t seated until 8:45, but we stood at the bar and got a drink until they were ready for us. That’s a long delay, but it was fine. The drinks are amazing! I had the tom yum cocktail which is extremely flavorful and unique. The nirvana nectar was also really good and I love the slanted glassware, very cool! We started with the shrimp which was solid. My colleague had the lamb chomps and they were cooked perfectly and juicy. I ordered the pork belly and crab fried rice. What a presentation! And it was so good! Our waiter was amazing and gave us great recommendations. Other reviews say the tables are too close together; but it’s not as bad as other places I’ve been too. It’s perfectly fine and comfortable. Great spot to check out! Highly recommend.

Came here for my birthday dinner and I already can’t wait to come back! I’m writing this review on my way home from the restaurant! I had a 10/10 experience here so if you’re thinking about just go ahead and head to the restaurant NOW! JoJo was an amazing, attentive and knowledgeable server. Every food item was amazing, the dessert was perfection.

I HIGHLY recommend this place! This was a highlight for my trip this month. This restaurant has everything figured out! The valet parking is free, the greeter is super excited to see you, the waiter gave a great recommendation to get the special. I had a surf and turf and a nice drink which were both amazing! The menu is so different which is also what makes this special so special along with the cuteness of the restaurant inside.
Patrice H — Google review
Poor Calvin’s delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I started with the fried green tomatoes, perfectly crisp and full of flavor, the ideal way to kick off the meal. The Korean ribs were tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, falling right off the bone. The collard greens had that comforting, home-cooked Southern flavor, and the lobster macaroni and cheese was decadent, creamy, and loaded with real chunks of lobster. The balance of flavors from the Asian influence to the Southern comfort was spot on. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed, and every bite felt like a thoughtful experience. If you’re in Atlanta and looking for a restaurant that truly blends creativity with comfort food, Poor Calvin’s is an absolute must-try.

The Marlow's Tavern chain is a classic American style restaurant with a pub setting. They offer delicious food and sports on TV. The service was great, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The menu has everything you love from bar food to pizza, burgers, and pasta dishes. They also have a selection of beers, wines, and spirits on tap!
An amazing last meal in Atlanta thanks to Josh and the staff. Was in town for three days had great food but the service here really capped off our trip since they found out it was our first time complementary homemade cheese nachos. Josh thoroughly went over the menu and based on his recommendations we have the brisket sandwich, the French dip, Caesar salad, and the asparagus fries. All of the food was great. We will definitely be back and when we go again, ask for Josh.

Today was my first time at Marlow’s, I was in town visiting a friend from Orlando and we decided to come here for lunch. There was something wrong with the air-conditioning so we ended up sitting outside, which was fine because it was gorgeous out. The service in the beginning was a little slow, we probably sat out there for at least 10-15 minutes until somebody came out and greeted us and gave us water. Tim was our waiter and he was absolutely adorable. He was so kind and had a great attitude. A man came out and gave us a free bowl of house chips with blue cheese and bacon because it was my first time there. We ordered the steak flatbread and I had a French dip sandwich. My only complaint with this is the bread was not toasted. So the sandwich was a little saggy, but the flavor was very good. It was my friend‘s birthday, and they ended up bringing out a dessert for him as well free of charge. It was a very pleasant experience, and I am glad that we came!

It was our first visit to this establishment and we were very pleased. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. The only possible drawback is the lighting is very low which might be an issue for some but for me it wasnt an issue. Delicious food and great service, definitely recommend!

Wandered in at random but was pleasantly surprised! The tavern vibe was great but the food was significantly elevated. We had the crab dip for an appetizer- bravo on the buttered saltine crackers! Entrees were the Brisket Grilled Cheese (with onion rings) and the Shrimp and Crab Louie - each delicious. The only demerit was given because the center of the crab dip was cold. This places deserves a revisit to try more dishes.

Marlow’s Tavern in Midtown is a consistently satisfying neighborhood spot that does exactly what a modern tavern should—serves elevated comfort food in a welcoming, stylish setting. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, with cozy booths, communal tables, and a patio that’s great for sunny afternoons. The food definitely delivers. Favorites like shrimp and grits—built on deep-fried white cheddar grit cakes—and Parmesan truffle fries stand out as inventive yet approachable tavern classics. Service, even when busy, was quick and efficient—everything came on time, and the food tasted crisp and fresh. I’ve found the bar area particularly fun too; the bartenders are “great,” and it feels just right for a casual lunch, game day, or a relaxed evening out. Every visit feels reliably good—welcoming, flavorful, and lively without trying too hard. If you’re looking for solid tavern food with a neighborhood atmosphere in Midtown, Marlow’s Tavern is a smart go-to. Would you like a shorter version or help highlighting a specific menu item?

Southern restaurant (US)
American restaurant
Restaurant
Wisteria is a charming Southern eatery located in Atlanta's historic Inman Park, offering a blend of neighborhood bistro ambiance and fine dining experience. The restaurant is housed in a historic building with cozy elements like dark woods and exposed brick. It specializes in new American cuisine with a Southern twist, featuring an extensive gluten-free menu with various entrees, appetizers, salads, and sides made from seasonal ingredients.
Wisteria in Atlanta is a fantastic spot for a delicious meal. The food was perfectly done, from the oysters to the sea bass and scallops. Everything was cooked just right and the flavors were fantastic. The portions were a nice size—satisfying without being overwhelming. Beyond the food, they have a lovely selection of wines, cocktails, and even mocktails. The service was also excellent; our waiter was friendly and the timing of each course was perfect. We had hoped to sit on the patio, but the weather moved us inside. While it was a little loud indoors, the atmosphere was still cozy and enjoyable. Overall, Wisteria offers great food, drinks, and service. It's a place I'd definitely recommend.

The Brussel sprout appetizer is AMAZING !!!! We got it with bacon. That aoili sauce is incredible! For dinner entrees, this place is a bit hard for me do to my various food allergies (dairy, gluten, beans). Most of the dishes I can’t eat or can’t be modified to remove the ingredients I can’t eat, so that’s a bummer. They do have a Gluten free menu (it’s mostly a subset of the same items as regular menu), but because I’m also dairy free, most items are eliminated. I was able to eat the modified GF trout dish, with sides of asparagus and mushrooms. My husband, however, has eaten here a number of times, and he’s always been pleased with the quality of the food. I’d rate it higher if they could accommodate more dairy free options. It is southern food, so most dishes do use milk (ex their chicken is marinated in milk).
Shannon E — Google review
I have really mixed feelings about this spot. Parking is valet, but you can pay via online tools & it’s simple. The atmosphere is nice, but tables are quite close together/packed in. Service was fantastic. Wine and cocktails/mocktails list is solid. The food is not bad, but also doesn’t excite me. My pork dish had so many ingredients, and I simply prefer simpler dishes. The corn fritters are not like a bread option, and I sort of wanted bread. I think southern food & I want simple dishes, and these are just a bit complex. That’s fully just a personal taste preference, though!
Jess O — Google review
We decided to try Wisteria based on positive reviews and their vegetarian options. While the restaurant does cater to those avoiding meat, the preparations weren't always to our taste. The Southern influence is strong – be prepared for lots of fried dishes, even on vegetables like the broccoli (which sadly, was overdone). The fried tomato appetizer was passable, but the entrees were better overall. Drinks and service were fine, and we appreciated the surprise birthday cake for my wife, which was a thoughtful touch.

I dined here with my girlfriend for a girls night out, and we had the best time and enjoyed delicious food! Our waiter was incredibly nice and very attentive. He made some great recommendations for dinner and appetizers. We had the fritters, friend green tomatoes, and I had the shrimp and grits. The cocktails were also very delicious! The restaurant space is also very cozy and homey and not too loud.
Sonja M — Google review
Food was absolutely delicious. The environment was cute and felt very warm. We got the crab cake, beet salad and duck dumplings for appetizer and lamb and shrimp and grits for main course. We also tried three desserts which were phenomenal. The only reason it wasn’t a perfect experience is that it was too loud and the guests next to us were talking so loud it seemed like they were yelling. It’s a must visit though, and hopefully we won’t have to deal with that kind of thing again.
Bahar M — Google review
Really Enjoyable Meal. Vibe of the restaurant was good-comfortable yet trendy. Every dish we had and tasted was yummy. Notable favorites- scallops, grouper, and fried chicken. Price point is good for this caliber of restaurant. Can't wait to return.
Lauren B — Google review
Date night for me and my husband. The crab cakes and fried green tomatoes are great appetizers. They also have an apple and oat salad which has a zesty dressing. I got the scallops. They were seasoned well except they tasted like they were marinated in the spice anise and it overpowered the flavor. They paired the scallops with a lemon burre blanc, which was good but they had a corn relish with white bean that just didn't paint well with the flavor of the scallops. I'm a foodie and this really killed my appetite. I didn't enjoy them as much as I thought I would. I couldnt get past the anise flavor or whatever spice was in the scallop and the white bean texture. My husband got the lamb Shank which was cooked to perfection over smashed potatoes. Molly was our server, she was awesome. Very friendly staff and the service was great.

Soul food restaurant
Takeout Restaurant
Established in 1947, Busy Bee Cafe is a beloved Atlanta soul food restaurant known for its traditional Southern dishes and budget-friendly prices. The cafe's daily meat-and-three plates and famous fried chicken have made it a favorite among locals and notable figures like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Oprah Winfrey. Recognized by the James Beard Foundation as an American Classic, Busy Bee Cafe continues to showcase regional specialties with timeless appeal.
I'm giving the food four stars because the fried chicken was good but not exceptional. However, it was later in the day and so maybe it wasn't at its best. BUT, the sides were incredible! So full of flavor! And the service and atmosphere were absolutely spot on. So friendly and authentic Atlanta. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. If you're in Atlanta definitely stop in. Highly recommend.
Jacob G — Google review
We were so excited to try Busy Bee but unfortunately our experience was deeply disappointing. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food — just one plate and two extra sides — while we watched at least 10 other people come and go with their orders. When our food finally arrived, it was cold and extremely salty. The service was confusing: polite at moments but also sharp and borderline rude. Our drink was forgotten and took another 6 minutes to get, which felt careless given how long we’d already been waiting. When we arrived, we were told to scan a QR code and had the option to order through the website or with the staff member directly. We chose the website and still left a tip, even though all she did was hand us the bag. The inside of the restaurant is closed so you have to wait outside or in your car — which would be fine if the food was prompt and warm. Sadly, it wasn’t. If you’re thinking what I’m thinking — maybe you’re right. Watching so many others served ahead of us for no clear reason left us wondering if there was something more behind it. It’s sad that in 2025, we can still feel so far behind when it comes to how we treat each other. We left feeling like we paid good money just to be treated poorly. So much excitement and money wasted — it honestly felt like we paid to be bullied. I hope this feedback helps them do better, but I can’t recommend Busy Bee based on our experience.
Sarah E — Google review
Food was good. I got the pork chops dinner with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Mac and cheese wasn't bad but wasn't good. Collard greens was great as well as pork chops. Wait time was long as we called our order in but waited over 40 minutes for our food. You had to wait outside for your order. It was hot. First time eating here.
Charlotte G — Google review
My husband and I stopped at Busy Bee to see what the hype was about and I was disappointed. We flew in from Maryland to watch a wonderful play called F Punk at 7 Stages and have lunch. Upon arriving at Busy Bees the host said we are not seating anyone because we are opening a new shop. I was not sure what one had to do with the other but, there was seating outside. So you scan the menu outside and let the host know what you want. After ordering, the wait was about 30 minutes. We start feeling sick sitting outside because the parking lot has new asphalt that had extremely strong toxic smell coming from it. So we moved around until the food came. Finally, the order was here and just in time because it started raining on us. I have to say, the prices do not match the quality of food not one bit. For two meals one fried fish and the other chicken wings it was mediocre at best for a couple of items and just not good for others. The banana pudding was mushy and terrible. I took one bite and threw it away. The wings were too salty and the green were basic. The fried fish and macaroni was ok. The peach cobbler was not good and did not taste fresh but seemed like they use can peaches. Coming to Georgia I would think fresh peaches would be used. This was a waste of $84.00 I am sorry to say. I hate to write this review but, I expected much more!

Wow definitely one of the best fried chicken i have had that doesn’t have any special sauce or anything… Their skin is so so darn well cooked and I can’t really explain. Their chicken is not as juicy as I thought but def not dry at all. Service was amazing we went on a Sat morning they only did takeout only so we just ate outside. Worth coming here if u have layover in ATL or visiting!!
Daniel J — Google review
Came here after watching a YouTube video saying it was the best fried chicken in America so I had to try it. It is very, very good chicken and you should taste it for yourself! Very juicy, crispy, and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend to my friends. Fries were also very good. Wish I liked the Mac and cheese more than I did, but not too bad. It is pickup only and the lady who gave us our food was pleasant.
Sadie P — Google review
I placed a couple of orders online on Monday and arrived about 20 minutes before the expected pickup time. Upon arrival, I headed inside. The dining room was in disarray. The tables were pushed to one side with junk and papers on top of them. I was immediately told to wait outside. Food was sitting in plastic bags on top of one of the tables. So, when I was served about 10 minutes later, the server grabbed a plastic bag off the table. The chicken was sweaty and looked soggy in spots. The vegetables were lukewarm. Perhaps, it’s better to order in the parking lot and wait.
Pat A — Google review
As a tourist in Atlanta, The Busy Bee Café was on my must-visit list—and it didn’t disappoint! The staff were friendly, and waiting outside with locals and delivery drivers added to the charm. The food was incredible—I nearly finished everything in my container, which says a lot since I don’t usually eat half a chicken in one sitting! A true taste of Atlanta and an experience I’m so glad I didn’t miss.

First time visiting, overall good experience. The grits were super creamy and yummy. The eggs were cold so that was a little disappointing. The strawberry lemonade cocktail was terrific. Would visit again, would probably just order something different. They do have indoor seating, but think like a screened in porch, so a little hot in the summertime. I’d imagine it’s great in the fall.

We visited on an early Friday evening and ordered the meatballs, burger, margarita, and seasonal IPA. I thought the burger was great but my mans said it was too much bread. The chips that came with the burger were well seasoned too. We sat outside near one of the fires and watched people walk by. They have lots of picnic tables and plenty of seating inside too to stay warm. We like the granola theme going on and it seems like a safe haven for any granola person on the beltline to cosplay being out in wilderness at a national park instead of in Atlanta.

The brewery features an expansive patio, large beer selection, and delicious bar food. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the midtown Atlanta skyline from the rooftop bar while savoring their latest brews and indulging in hearty dishes like wings or pizza. New Realm Brewing is an awesome spot! The beer selection is top-notch, with plenty of craft options to suit every taste. However, I wish they had more sours and cider on their menu, nonetheless, The atmosphere is chill and inviting, whether you’re out with friends or catching one of the free Deep South Wrestling matches. Great vibes, good food, and a killer skyline view if you’re upstairs. Highly recommend checking it out — one of the best breweries in the area!

New realm was visually appealing, and super nice looking brewery. Our waitress was great. The food was okay. We order buffalo chicken dip, but it was hard to tell if chicken was actually in it. I ordered a smokehouse burger which was good. The onion ring batter lacked salt/ seasoning at all. The wings that were ordered also lacked seasoning. Overall, it was OK. We didn’t get beers, so I assume this is probably their highlight!

Great location on the beltline. The atmosphere was good - sat outside and listened to some live music. The beers were ok and it took awhile for a server to come take care of us. They were also sold out of the first couple of beer selections we made from their menu.

Came here for a quick bite to eat and drink while on the beltline. I've been at the rooftop bar before, but the inside seating is actually really nice. I wish the Mac and cheese had an option to add meat. I think like bacon bits or chorizo would really elevate the dish. Asian style fries were pretty good but the meat is all hidden at the bottom (so make sure you mix it!) Parking may be hard depending on where you go at the beltline. Plenty of seating though. Pretty busy, gets a lot of human traffic. Service was nice and attentive. I like how their drink menu is fairly big but could use more sour options tbh.

So I purchased food for dinner and breakfast on 9/18/2025. I ordered my food through Uber Eats. The food is delicious. I got a smash burger with fries. I also got a chicken tenders combo kid meal because a drink is included I got a sprite on ice. Pull up and support.

Always a solid stop on the Beltline for good drinks, amazing views, and watching the Braves game. Service at the downstairs, inside bar is great too. Bartender was slammed but still treated everyone with care and made sure to grab me a quick water while waiting on the drinks he had ahead of mine. I usually sit at the rooftop but yesterday we sat on the green space out front and that was so fun. Always recommend!

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a classic fast-food chain known for its soft-serve ice cream, signature shakes, burgers, and fries. The friendly staff and quick service make it a popular choice for many customers. Despite some issues with location and pricing changes, the overall experience at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill seems to be positive, with hot and fresh food, friendly customer service, and clean facilities.

Efficent Dairy Queen store. Opens earliest of the food court at 6AM and offers the known low price meals. As there's no seating it's always clean.

Standard DQ quality but this place is always closed! We stayed at the Hyatt and it's so conveniently close. But if you try to go after dinner they are closed and it's 6:22pm on a Saturday! Even Google says they're open til 8 but this happened multiple nights

Friendly and helpful staff. I've been there many times and the staff is always helpful. Food is always quick and perfect. They are so.gpod I have contacted there customer service about it. There's a major problem with it's location the food court that it's in has a security staff that's is rude, pushy and have no customer service skills although I highly recommend this location the security at the food court ruins the experience. I was waiting for a friend and was told by security I had to leave. Because I was loitering. When my friend arrived a few mins later. We went back and while we were eating was approached by security again and even though I had food this time was told I had to leave because they had told me before. I have to over $200 in gift cards to Dairy Queen and will be spending them at yhe other locations even though this location is the best I have been to in GA.

The food is fine but there's one specific cashier that upcharges everyone for anything he can find. Upgrading your order to a large without asking for it, giving you a combo when you specifically asked for only the sandwich, pushing bottled water when they have tap water, charging you for a beverage even if you ordered a combo. Just anything he can do to charge you more. I'm here with a large convention and everyone complains about "the cashier who doesn't smile" upcharging them multiple times throughout the event

Cold Stone Creamery is a delightful ice cream chain that takes your dessert experience to the next level. Here, you can create your own unique ice cream concoctions, all hand-mixed on a cool granite slab. The standout feature? Their cookies and cream flavor is loaded with real Oreo cookies, making it an indulgent treat reminiscent of dipping Oreos in milk—only better with chocolate chips and fudge!
I came here last night and was greeted by two amazing ladies. I didn’t get their names, but they were so personal and friendly. My ice cream was made with love and I truly appreciate that. I actually love this location the best out of Atlanta. Please come here if you’re seeking excellent customer service along with your amazing ice cream!!

If I could, I would give 10/5 stars. The manager here, Erika, treats customers like people instead of a transaction. First, I ordered an ice cream cake for my little boy's birthday, wanting it to look like a Pokemon ball. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to do this, but Erika and her team looked at so many pictures of Poke balls, and thought of the best ingredients to use to make it look the same. She reached out to me several times to see if I'd be ok with certain ingredient substitutes to make it look more realistic. Then come the date of delivery, the driver grabbed another order instead my cake. I called the store but couldn't get through because they were busy. Sure enough I was able to reach Erika who immediately reached out to the team working that day to amend the situation. Only taking my business here for future orders.
Jessie C — Google review
I ordered a custom ice cream cake from Cold Stone and was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. First, the cake I ordered was supposed to be pink, but I was given a plain white cake instead. On top of that, the quality was terrible—some parts were frozen solid while other areas were melted, which made it very clear the cake was not fresh. I also waited past the promised pickup time because I was never alerted that my cake was ready. When I finally checked, the system showed my cake had already been picked up, even though I hadn’t received it. I had to call and sort out the confusion myself, which was incredibly frustrating. In the end, I had no choice but to grab a cake from Publix for my sister’s graduation get-together, because Cold Stone failed to deliver what I paid for. After spending over $50 on this cake, I expected much better. Instead, I received poor service, a cake that wasn’t made correctly, and something that clearly wasn’t fresh. Cold Stone will never get my business again. Total waste of money.

Alright, let's talk about my trip to Cold Stone Creamery – it was a sweet adventure! First off, the ice cream – absolutely delicious. They've got this mind-boggling array of flavors and mix-ins that had my taste buds dancing. Now, the setup is pretty cool. You can enjoy your scoop outside or chill indoors – whichever floats your boat. Plus, the whole mixing-the-toppings-into-the-ice-cream thing? Genius. And here's a big shoutout to the service – it was top-notch. Friendly staff and they make your treat just the way you like it. So, if you're on the hunt for some seriously good ice cream with loads of choices and a nice place to savor it, Cold Stone Creamery is the spot. It's a dessert lover's paradise, no doubt about it!

I called to order a cake over the phone because the website didn’t have the cake I wanted. It was for my son 16 birthday. Erika walked me through how to build the custom cake online. She was super helpful, friendly and patient. Normally I would have to order the Coffee Crunch Cake a few days in advance. Erika built it in just under 2 days. She’s great.

Great service, great ice cream, and an even better vibe every time I visit!

If I could give 0 stars for this location I would. I walked in on a Tuesday evening around 7:45pm and it was no one in line, only me. It was 2 ladies and 1 man in there and not one person acknowledged me. I waited about 6 minutes and a tall guy finally walked over to me and mumbled something under his breath. I told him; nevermind what ever y’all have going on behind the counter must be way important than the paying customer standing in front of you. I walked out and won’t be back. They need to hire a new staff who wants to actually work and who can acknowledge their customers in a timely manner.

10/10 experience, the place is always super clean and the costumer service is the best, they’re very kind to everyone and always go above and beyond. This has been our to go place for cakes and ice cream for years. The customer service used to be outstanding, the young employees were great, you could tell they were trained well. Unfortunately the last few times that same customer service has gone downhill, not sure if it's a new manager or owner but the man that used to be there on our previous visits is not longer there and the woman manager or owner is as dry as sandpaper, acts like she is doing you a favor and appears to be bothered by your presence. No going above and beyond here anymore and after spending over $40 on our last visit we rather take our hard earned money were it's appreciated.

The tavern boasts an extensive bourbon list, craft beer selection, hand-crafted cocktails, and renowned burgers. Visited here for the first time with my family and it met our expectations. Our food was great, the server was amazing and the person that got us seated was understanding when we changed our mind from sitting outside to inside. One of my favourite part was the game while we waited for our orders. We all had fun as the kids played. We were attended by Server 8 - Ms. V. I will recommend this place if you’re out of town and look for a place to eat. We will visit again! Nice place but very busy. The washroom was ok too.

Your local tavern is a cool place to hang out for drinks and watching the game. We decided to meet here for lunch and I must say this is one of the better places I've been to with bar food. They actually care about the food served. We ordered wings, collard green spring rolls, salmon BLT, cobb salad, chicken tenders etc. A couple of drinks and everyone enjoyed their food. This location was recommended to us and we will recommend to others. Enjoy a casual night out!

I’m from a small town, so I’m not used to eating at taverns like this. This was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. It was my friend and I’s first time trying it. We went to the regal across the street earlier and looked at the menu and figured why not give it a try! Some items on the menu were missing due to a kitchen issue, but I had my mind set on the fish sandwich, which was available. It did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and hot, and the portions were perfect. We also had the Spinach dip which was very good. I will give it a 9/10. Will definitely be back.

A friend and I are visiting from Chattanooga. After stopping in last night for dinner, we came back for a second day to watch some college football. Friday night BINGO was tons of fun. The shrimp and grits is delicious! The drinks are great, amazing appetizers (we tried the spinach Parmesan dip & soft pretzels) and the service is so friendly.

Great place, great food, great service. They got a lot of games to choose from. The food comes out fast and they don’t hold out on the alcoholic drinks. I enjoyed my time here from the service to the food We got to sit out in the porch and soak up some sun while eating and drinking good. The blackened grilled chicken creaser salad and fish and chips were one of the best l've ever had. The spicy fried cauliflower wasn't that spicy so I was kind of disappointed by that but it still had good flavor. I will definitely be back. Posting late and I’m definitely back this time I ordered the pretzel bites and a daiquiri. It’s never a disappointment when I’m here. I spoke with one of the mangers Derrick and he was nice, friendly and personable, he made our experience A1 today. Also Aaron the server was great. Roc South Cuisine is a Black-owned restaurant in Atlanta that offers a modern twist on traditional Southern dishes. The menu features classic soul food items like fried chicken, seafood gumbo, fried fish, candied yams, collard greens, and black-eyed peas at reasonable prices. The restaurant is co-signed by Lou Williams of the Atlanta Hawks and offers luxurious options such as fried lobster tail, lamb chop entree, and whole fried snapper.
Five of my friends and I were in Atlanta visiting for a birthday celebration weekend. We went to Roc South for brunch on Sunday, October 5, 2025 (we had a reservation for 6 for 11 AM). I got the catfish with grits and my friends got various meals in which they raved about. I was also able to taste the short ribs with grits and the mac and cheese… everything I tasted was yummm! Our server Ajeemah was excellent. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and had wonderful energy ✨ I would most definitely go back if ever visiting ATL again.
Dana S — Google review
Roc South is worth the try! Me and my bf decided to dine in & it was our first time coming to this restaurant. I ordered the Blackened Salmon Linguine pasta— it was good though I would have preferred more flavor in the pasta sauce, I also noticed my pasta had fresh tomatoes versus sun dried tomatoes like the menu described—the salmon was cooked to perfection. My bf ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Plate with collard greens, macaroni, and yams. He enjoyed his food, but his macaroni wasn’t as hot as he was expecting. We shared an order of the honey cornbread which were good, the honey butter could’ve been melted more and hotter but overall the experience was good!
Gigi L — Google review
Came here on a chill night, during the week, and met up with a friend. Friendly staff and the bartender had great recommendations for drinks. For food, we ordered the seafood egg rolls (good), the lamb chops (a little fatty), and catfish (delicious). The vibes and ambiance were great.

Everyone including me ordered the catfish for lunch and it was worth it! Great portions and loved the grits too. I also liked the salmon bites but the catfish was better. The peach lemonade had actual peaches inside. I arrived right when they opened on a weekday so there was not a wait.
Kaylin M — Google review
I’ve been here now 5 times so that’s says a lot already and I don’t live in Atlanta. My favorite would have to be the seafood eggrolls and the man of the hour drink. The gumbo is good, the Mac and cheese was good, the lamb chops was good, salmon

I heard great things about this place but unfortunately I ordered the honey lemon pepper wings and they were old wings. They were not cooked to order. They were so hard. This was a takeout order. If I wasn't working, I would have went right back to the restaurant. I also ordered the brussel spouts. They were good and hot but lack flavor. So I added my own when I got home. I will give them another try.

We are in town for a girls trip and found this place on TikTok on my FYP page. We decided to go check it out. We arrived around 11:30am on a Sunday. It was not too busy at all. Plenty of parking and they do offer free valet parking as well. The dress is casual and relaxing. The ambiance was very beautiful, relaxing laid back music, playing and the staff was awesome. As for the food it was well worth it. I spend around $35 for my meal, and it was well worth it.The plate came out, beautiful presented and clean plus it tasted very seasoned. It's hard to get mac & cheese at a restaurant and it's good. This place right here is top tier macaroni & cheese. I would recommend anyone go check them out. They did have a steady flow of customers. Please keep that in mind to arrive a little earlier. Oh, they also have mimosas as we as a bar.

Ben & Jerry’s is a renowned ice cream parlor chain originating from Vermont, celebrated for its imaginative and playfully named flavors. The brand offers a unique catering service that brings their popular flavors to events, turning any gathering into an ice cream extravaganza. With classic favorites like Cherry Garcia and Chocolate Fudge Brownie alongside innovative new creations, Ben & Jerry’s is a go-to destination for those seeking a delightful sweet treat.
Ben & Jerry’s is a great option for some ice cream in Inman Park. Personally, I like their activism and what the company and founders stand for. There aren’t many parking spots in front of the shop; try driving down Elizabeth St past the shop to Bernina Ave for additional street parking. Asante is a sophisticated dining destination that redefines modern Southern cuisine by infusing it with global influences. Nestled in downtown, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by exceptional service. Guests rave about the Mac N Cheese, which surprises with its delightful addition of bacon, and the Sancocho—a dish that beautifully narrates culinary stories from various cultures. The handcrafted cocktails are a must-try, featuring innovative homemade syrups that elevate your drinking experience.
This place is absolutely phenomenal! The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. But more importantly, the food was amazing. We went to Sunday brunch and had the breadfruit dip, the fried poussin with brioche French toast, and the pear tart. Everything tasted as if it had just been picked, cooked, and put on the table- very fresh foods. I highly recommend this place for fine dining or a good date night.

This has got to be one of the worst restaurants in ATL. Went on a Thursday and the place was empty which was a warning sign (Canoe's not empty on a Thursday night)! Anyways the servers do a good job of talking up the chef -"everything is made from scratch in house, he's a celebrity chef who can create something to fit your dietary needs, he get's his ingredients from local farmer's markets" blah blah blah - IT"S ALL HOGWASH. Food is horrible - tasteless, bland and overpriced. Service is also horrible. I had the crab cakes which are called lump crab cakes in the menu but mine had maybe two lumps of crab meat if any! Servers were friendly but painfully slow. I would guess this place will not be around in the next 24 months - there's just too many good restaurants in ATL to bother with this one. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and make another choice.

Awesome place! Great staff and atmosphere! I have been here 3 times and everything I eat or drink there is amazing and done right. I will be back many more times
