Coffee shop
Midnight Sun Coffee Roasters, located in Yukon, is a family-owned and operated coffee roastery and cafe that has been thriving for eleven years. Owned entirely by female staff, the roastery offers freshly roasted coffee at its downtown location as well as through various local businesses. Visitors can enjoy a great selection of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. Customers appreciate the opportunity to taste the coffee before making their choice, ensuring they find the perfect cup to enjoy.
Stopped in on a quick visit through town only to find a polite sign explaining their espresso machine went down and they’d be closed until tomorrow. They had, however, made a little complimentary coffee kiosk outside to soften the blow. Top marks! (Coffee was great, too.) Chatted with some of the regulars as they came through and got the impression they really like them here. Will be back on the next pass!

Excellent coffee - we’ve been twice in 2 days and plan to go again when we head into Whitehorse. Also has milkshakes in a variety of flavours and an array of pastries and donuts.
Jess S — Google review
If you like coffee, this is a must try. A lot of coffee varieties, friendly staff and nice location. Very tasty mocha and reasonably priced.
Rahim — Google review
The espresso here was pretty good at the start, an interesting flavour that I pleasantly enjoyed. I let it cool down a bit too long and it left my mouth a bit waxy. Coffee bean and pastry selection seems excellent. The atmosphere in this place is something else, I really liked it. The decorated warehouse in an industrial part of town. Half outdoor shop half specialty coffee shop. The flow of locals coming in and out for their coffee, lots of first name basis interactions with staff. A nice combination of what you would expect in a coffee shop and what you would expect from the Yukon. This is my first espresso in Whitehorse. The other coffee shops have a tough competitor. This could very easily be the best coffee shop in the city. Will update here later this week.

Coffee great, friendly staff, super cool vibe, bicycle shop and coffee shop harmony

Funky set up! Good tunes and nice staff. Fantastic coffee. We are from New Zealand and can be quite fussy with our coffee. These guys do an awesome job here. Between us we had a latte, the mojo milkshake and a chai. All were so tasty. Really pleased we stopped here on our day trip.

We bought the Dark French Roast for pour over coffees on our road trip. Im Obsessed! I am a full on coffee snob and Love this coffee! So smooth, rich and flavourful. Went back twice for more beans.

Northern Lights Resort & Spa offers a fantastic package to explore the stunning winter landscapes of Yukon and witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights. Guests can stay in cozy Alpine Log Chalets or Aurora Glass Chalets and enjoy European-style breakfasts, three-course dinners, and guided Aurora Viewing at the bonfire. The resort also includes activities like husky experiences, snowmobiling introductions, and guided city tours of Whitehorse.
We stayed at the Northern Lights Resort with the hope of witnessing the aurora borealis—but what we found was so much more. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the beautifully appointed cabins, the exquisite gourmet meals served three times daily, and the exceptional hospitality of the entire staff. Mike welcomed us with captivating stories during our drive to the resort, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. Roberto, the resort manager, ensured every detail was perfect. Kelly, our cheerful server at lunch and dinner, greeted us with a radiant smile and always remembered our favorite cocktails. James, the chef, wowed us with masterful flavor combinations at every meal—truly a culinary artist. Marshall kept the fire going from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., creating a cozy haven for watching the Northern Lights in comfort. Kiera’s homemade cinnamon buns were a delightful treat. Karl and Yu guided us through daytime adventures, while Ida made sure our rooms were immaculate and welcoming. Toby and Lynn, the owners, have built something truly special—a resort where the service is extraordinary and the staff feels like family. This was the first time I’ve ever stayed somewhere and knew everyone’s name. It felt like coming home.
Crystal R — Google review
We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Northern Lights Resort & Spa. The staff were fabulous and the owners, Tobi and Lynn, went above and beyond to make each guest feel truly welcome and valued. They would unselfishly take time out of their busy days to engage. They made us feel like family. The food was outstanding — every meal felt special and was thoughtfully prepared. They were more than willing to adjust based on personal preferences. James and his team of great servers made every mouthful an experience. The extracurricular activities were well organized and added so much to the overall experience. We stayed in a Glass Chalet, which was cozy without feeling small — beautifully designed, very comfortable, and perfectly equipped. The property itself is expansive, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up for guest use. A special shout-out to all the staff who work tirelessly, both directly with guests and behind the scenes to make every stay seamless, comfortable, and memorable. Finally, we were very fortunate to get an amazing display of Northern Lights. The nightly campfire and the glass chalet made perfect viewing venues. Even if we hadn’t seen the lights, the vacation still would have been perfect! This resort is five stars plus on every level. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical, memorable northern getaway.
Mark T — Google review
Congratulations to Toby and Lynn on the wonderful resort. This is not a tourist resort, it's a home away from home. The staff make you feel like family. The chalets are cozy and clean. The meals might not be a la carte but are tasty home cooked by chef James. The activities are well planed and diverse. The best part is the bonfire at night waiting for the magic lights to happen and then what a show.
RAYMOND M — Google review
This is the first class resort. Everything was spectacular. The room was perfect. We can see the Northern Lights from our bed. The gourmet food was delicious. The staff, Mike, Patrick, Kelly and Caitlin were wonderful. They have world-class massages. Tobi and Lynn ( the owners) were very friendly and helpful. There were so many activities. They made sure the minute you arrived at the resort, your stay would be stress free and memorable. I would highly recommend Northern Lights Resort & Spa.

Exceptional Stay at Northern Lights Resort Just wrapped up 4 incredible nights at Northern Lights Resort and couldn't be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated their warmth and attentiveness which really made the difference. The rooms were comfortable and perfectly situated for the stunning views. But the real magic happened at night when the aurora came out. The location is ideal for viewing the Northern Lights, and the resort makes it easy to experience this natural wonder. We also took advantage of the massage services, which were absolutely fantastic - exactly what we needed after our travels. Combined with the breathtaking scenery, it made for a truly relaxing getaway. If you're planning a trip to Whitehorse and want to see the aurora borealis while being looked after by an outstanding team, Northern Lights Resort is the place. Highly recommend!
James C — Google review
The staff and owners give the best service and very nice. The food is excellent. Their rooms are very clean and roomy. They assist you with everything you want to do. Then there is the massage which was heavenly. We got lucky that we were able to see the northern lights. So all around, this was a perfect trip

The Northern Lights Resort and Spa is an excellent resort in Whitehorse, Yukon for watching the Northern Lights! Interesting trips during the day with our wonderful guide Mike, to local, unique areas in this beautiful part of the Yukon. You can even schedule massage treatments!Three fantastic, 5-star restaurant worthy meals served by our great servers Kelly and Caitlin! Then, the main attraction, the Northern Lights! Evening campfires, hot chocolate and s'mores, and Marshall, the camera guru who helps you get the best pictures! The cabins are very clean, wonderful beds and beautiful bathrooms. You can even film the Lights from your front porch. We would happily come back for dog sledding in the winter!
Dennis C — Google review
I just returned from a week at Northern Lights Resort. I stayed in the Lupine Chalet with my sister. The chalet was roomy enough for two people. The beds were comfortable and there were always fresh towels, new toiletries, and tea and coffee in the chalet. The highlight of the trip were the staff. A special call out to Kelly, the server and Mike and Patrick, the guides. The service was impeccable, we could barely think about what we might want, and it was in front of us. By the second day, the staff knew what type of coffee we liked, and the cook tailored the meals to our special needs. I am a vegetarian, and I must say that those meals did not feel second best, they were creative substitutes for the meat entries and absolutely delicious. The excursions were fun, and the guides were extremely knowledgeable. The resort is really set up to allow guests every opportunity to experience the northern lights. We saw them 2/7 nights we were there, and they were amazing. No one can predict nature, but the setup is such that the possibility of seeing them is maximized. I am back home, relaxed and happy. I recommend Norther Lights Resort without reservation. The thoughtfulness of the owners and all the staff and the attention to detail was truly outstanding.

Inn On The Lake, located at the edge of March Lake just 40 minutes from Whitehorse, is a luxurious lodge with a touch of old-world charm. It offers various accommodation options including rooms, apartments, and the cozy Fireweed Cottage. Guests can enjoy activities such as snowmobiling, lake fishing, and dog sledding while staying at this top-notch lodge. The staff members are highly praised for their friendliness and helpfulness.
It was an incredibly amazing experience at the Sun Cottage! Inside was very clean and warm enough, It was really helpful that seasonings and dishes were provided. Although it was a 10-15 minute drive from the main entrance, it was absolutely worth it. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the Aurora this time, but we were treated to a beautiful sunrise by the lake. The dinner was excellent, and we had a fantastic time playing in the snow by the lake. We’re definitely coming back soon and can’t wait for our next visit!

My fiancee and I stayed here in late October 2024 as part of the Northern Lights Autumn Package offered by the inn. Everything about our stay here was fantastic! The staff was friendly and provided us with very good service. The meals, while slightly small in portion size in my opinion, were all incredibly delicious. The meals are served at a large community table with all the other guests, which we liked, as it enabled us to talk with fellow guests who were visiting from all over the world. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting of the inn away from the city and the back porch which overlooks Lake Marsh. We stayed in the Executive Jacuzzi Suite, which is alone on the second level of the inn, and therefore felt more private and quiet to us. While our bathroom was an average size, the room itself was quite spacious and also included a small private deck that looked out on the front of the property in the north direction. Overall, we very much enjoyed our time here and would be happy to stay here again if we ever visited the Whitehorse area in the future. We would certainly recommend this inn to everyone.

If you're into Whitehorse for a couple of days, this is the place to stay. Right on a lake and if you get one of the private cabins, you can share the space with your family and friends. The cabins are completly self sufficient. You can order the set course dinner -- really delicious and gourmet quality with locally sourced ingredients. The buffet breakfast is good too. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

What an amazing day, my partner, and I had with our guide for a snowmobile tour. Our guide was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He made the whole experience over the top for us. We highly recommend booking the snowmobile tour and staying here! We will definitely be back!

The service, the room, the lake, the food! Everything is exceptional here. We only spent one night on our way through and if we had more time we would’ve stayed longer. We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite and everything felt like luxury. I would highly recommend stopping here and enjoying Marsh Lake to its fullest.

Lovely location and accommodations! Quiet and peaceful, clean with kind and friendly caretakers. Amazing food, wine and views. I loved my stay and would come back in a minute. Loons and eagles and sweeping views.
Chris R — Google review
First class accommodation, setting and staff! We arrived late and skipped dinner - what a mistake! Had we known, we would have skipped Whitehorse and arrived earlier. The meal that the staff cooked and served looked amazing and smelt great. Sam took time to show us around the lodge and also helped with our camera settings for the Northern lights. We used the honesty bar and sat on the rear deck in the evening sun overlooking the lake - magical. Many of the guests had travelled from far (Germany, Australia & China to name a few). The atmosphere at the lodge was so relaxing and friendly and we all shared stories and waited for the lights to appear. I listened to the loons on the lake and watched the Northern Lights on the rear deck until 2am - an experience that I will not forget. This was the highlight of our Alaska/Yukon trip - next time (there will be a next time) - we will stay 2 nights minimum. We left early and was assisted by a young chap from Osaka who was preparing what looked like a delicious breakfast.

This is not a "lodge" or Inn. It is a home with a few bedrooms for rent. We were charged for a breakfast we did not reserve or eat. I am pretty sure most of the reviews on here are phoney. Pretty weird setup.

Klondike Rib & Salmon is a charming restaurant located in the two oldest buildings still in use in Whitehorse, offering a nostalgic ambiance with vintage decor. The menu features locally inspired dishes such as fresh northern fish, wild game meats, and signature sourdough bread pudding. The historic setting pays homage to the Klondike Gold Rush era with paraphernalia like wooden skis and gold pans adorning the space.
It was our very good fortune to be back in Whitehorse when KR&S was open! Don't miss a chance to dine here and have the very best halibut & chips, and you best come hungry; it will spoil you for the ordinary cod & chips we get Down South. And nothing better than a pint (or two) of Yukon Gold beer to wash it down (see pic). Fortunately, I'm allowed to take beer in my checked baggage when I fly out of here. We finished off with the bread pudding for four. It was great, but next time we'll order the same-sized brownie/ice cream, because after all that, we didn't have room for more than one desert! I got a picture of one of the brownies, but unfortunately I couldn't get away from the reflection of the glass case it was in. Four stars, which I save only for very special places like this!

Best fries I have ever had. Amazing fish n chips. Great atmosphere with the antiques and history on the walls. If you’re in Whitehorse it should definitely be on your must visits.
Cody L — Google review
Came here for local food and they did not disappoint. We got the House Special (Ribs & Salmon), Halibut Fish & Chips, and the Maple Salmon. Everything was delicious! The ribs fell off the bone and were perfectly sauced. The Fish & Chips were the best in town, the breading and the fries were crispy. The Salmon was probably our favourite. It was fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The servers were nice and friendly, did a great job hosting. Looking forward to coming back. A good amount of food so come hungry!
Annie Y — Google review
Alex our waitress was great. She recommended us Artic char fish and halibut fish and chips. We were so pleased worth her suggestions. It was the best food I have had. I would have come back if I was in town for another day. Thank you Alex for great service and making our visit so pleasant.
Streasstreas — Google review
We had dinner at Klondike Rib & Salmon while staying at Hi Country RV Park. The historic setting and local beer were great, and the fish & chips were the standout—crispy batter, decent tartar sauce (small portion), and excellent fries. The halibut chowder was just OK with mostly potatoes. My wife’s glazed salmon was bland, and our friends found the ribs average and the salmon skewers too fishy. Unfortunately, our food order was forgotten, and we waited over an hour. Service was poor, but the manager apologized, comped some fries, and gave us 50% off. Good food in parts—but go with low expectations for service.
Mick W — Google review
The hostess and servers were welcoming and overall the experience was mostly positive. I ordered the salmon which was accompanied by fried vegetables, a salad and rice. Everything except the rice were delicious. The rice were unedible -dry, lacking flavor and seemed old. I brought this up to the waitress and was told I'm not the only one to have made the comment. The issue was blamed on a staffing change. I was thanked for my comments, but wasn't provided anything else.

Love this place. Best dining experience in Whitehorse. It's not cheap but that is why they continue to thrive. Always a great meal and the deserts are amazing

Burnt Toast Cafe is a charming bistro in Whitehorse, Yukon, serving up a diverse array of comforting dishes from morning to night. This rustic-chic eatery has become a local favorite and a hit with visitors due to its delicious offerings. Whether you're craving breakfast, brunch, or lunch, Burnt Toast Cafe has you covered with its popular menu items like Klondike Rib & Salmon.
Had a delicious breakfast sandwich on our way out of Whitehorse. The place was packed, which speaks for itself. Even though it was busy, it didn't take long to get our food. Our waitress was attentive & kept our coffee mugs & water glasses full! There is a decent amount of indoor seating, considering it is not a large place. It's kid-friendly. I noticed some young couples in the restaurant with children. There appeared to be highchairs & books available for little ones. It is street parking. We didn't have an issue on Sunday morning. We were there close to opening time. There were some nice options on the menu with good variety. The potatoes were to die for!

Our AIRBNB property had a 'places to try' booklet. BURNT TOAST was recommended for breakfast lunch AND dinner. We thought that was suspicious, lol. We ended up going because our first and second choices weren't even open for breakfast or lunch. It's a very comfy cafe! The service is top-notch, very friendly. The menu has generous choices, and both of our meals were delicious. We liked how the ambience was unique, and not some run-of-the-mill decor. The tables are all different and very cool, the chairs are comfy, the warm decor made this a very at-home feel. The place was packed when we got there so we needed to wait until people left in order to take pics. And another thing? We loved the music..... we had Auto-Shazam on so came home with some new favorites. So yes, we would actually go there for breakfast, lunch AND dinner!! :)

Delightful brunch spot in Whitehorse. Highly recommend. I had the Croque Madam and my friend had the Veggie Eggs Bennie. The hash potatoes are scrumptious too. Great selection of food and drinks. Would definitely go back whilst we are in town.
Anne-Marie S — Google review
I was staying at a local hotel, which didn't have a restaurant, so looked online and saw Burnt Toast a block away with good reviews so went to try it for brunch. I was not disappointed. The place is a small cozy diner style with a nice local vibe. Service was very friendly and good if not overly fast. It's not the type of place you go if you are in a hurry (unless you do takeout). I decided on the Pulled pork breakfast skillet. It was delicious with tasty pork, crisp potatoes and an interesting mix of veggies, chipotle, cheese and gravy with 2 poached eggs. It came with 4 pieces of toast. It was very filling to say the least. I would definitely like to go back to try their french toast. Definitely recommend for a brunch stop if you are in Whitehorse.

This was an exceptional cafe. Local, fresh ingredients, above average presentation, and knowledgeable servers. All drinks and food are an upgrade of any experience we have had on our month long Alcan adventure. I ordered the Croque Madam breakfast (5) that comes with just right slightly crisped potato chunks. My husband ordered a classic breakfast (someone who usually wants a more greasy spoon local establishment) and said this was a 5 and he would come all the time if he lived here!

Great little spot with gluten free food! Some marked on menu, but were really helpful in altering other meals, and had gluten free bread. We ordered the cowboy, the Italian, and some poutine. Poutine was marked GF on the menu, and they amended to Italian to make it GF. Lovely staff and great food!

Baked-Cafe & Bakery is an artsy, industrial-chic coffeehouse located on Main Street, just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. It's a bustling community hub in downtown Whitehorse, attracting a diverse crowd including young families, working individuals, and friends meeting for coffee. I came from Vancouver and visited this local coffee shop. I always love supporting local spots, and this place truly made my day memorable. Their croissant was amazing, and the matcha latte was one of the best I’ve had — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they care about how they prepare it. Definitely worth a visit!

Boston Pizza in Whitehorse is a popular spot known for its pub food, delicious pizza, and burgers. The restaurant offers generous serving sizes and good value for money. Customers have praised the exceptional customer service provided by staff members like Cecil and Jose, who are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Families particularly appreciate how the staff interacts with children, making them feel comfortable and entertained during their visit.
I've been here a couple of times while travelling through town. The service is quick, washrooms super-clean, and food quality is top shelf. This location is excellent for large groups like tour bus companies or sports teams. They've got a separate area in an upstairs lounge and a fantastic south-facing patio.

Went here with my wife and 3 toddlers age 3 and 5. Great children’s menus with excellent variety and nicely presented. The children’s drinks were a real hit with cotton candy on the straws. I ordered a double order of chicken wings . They were nice size and tasted great. I did ask for sauce on the side (hot) and I got salt and pepper wings with sauce served on it. Makes for messy eating. Waitress apologized and asked if I still wanted it. My wife ordered the French onion soup, serves with just a dusting of cheese on top. Tasted good, but you really miss not having lots of melted cheese on top. She also had the chicken quesadillas which were Ok, not a good presentation. Service was very friendly and the robot delivery was well received by the children. The house wine was a nice Wolfblass cab ( so much better than the typical house red) Nice surprise that wine was 50% off on Tuesday’s. Bill was $123.25. Looks chaotic at front desk with the take out orders they should try to fix quickly. This also can be upsetting when you wait 10 minutes to be acknowledged for a seat and at this time 4:45pm there was only three tables occupied. The girl on the phone apparently only answers the phone for takeout which can be upsetting when you are standing in front of her waiting to be seated. But all in all a good night out with the kids and everything tasted good.

I had a wonderful experience at Boston Pizza. This visit was special since it’s my last time here before heading back home to Chicago, and it couldn’t have been better. The manager, Marian was absolutely fantastic—super nice, very friendly, and she even took the time to serve us personally. My wife knows her, and that personal connection made the evening even more special. The service was warm, the atmosphere welcoming, and I truly felt taken care of. Highly recommend Boston Pizza Whitehorse to anyone visiting!

The key lime pie is the reason I keep coming back every time I'm in Whitehorse. The key lime pie is the reason I look forward to every Whitehorse work trip. Everything else is great, especially the ribs. They make a mean steak as well. Love the vibe too. There's a reason it's always bumping in there. *only thing they can improve is the lighting for key lime pie pics

I would say the atmosphere is quite nice for hanging out with friends but the good and service was quite disappointing. Service was a bit slow, it took us long time to be able to order our food because no one was taking our orders. And once the burgers that we ordered arrived, they were all burned, I know they’re supposed to be grilled but my burger was literally black and burned and it tasted bitter. I would come back for the atmosphere but not for the food which is not good and it’s pricey.

We were walk in, and numorous tables were open. We ordered bison burgers and sweet potato fries which were absolutely yummy. Our service however, was extremely poor. We watched another waitress monitoring her tables frequently. While we were'nt able to get water refills, and had to ask for the dessert menu. Finally, When I asked if we had done something to offend her, the waitress replied with a no. Maybe the young waitress with long black hair had personal problems or just was resentful that she had to work.

Good food but I think they are running a scam with the bill. Check mine out. There was a pitcher of beer that was split with a friend 50/50. I was told by staff, it just shows full price but the total is made from half. Burger $26.50 1/2 pitcher $13 = $39.5 Add 5% gst = $41.47 TOTAL it’s only a couple dollars but its the principal. Check your bills people!

One of the best restaurants in Whitehorse! A must try for anyone. The gluten free pizza is the best you will have anywhere. The other person had the Bison burger and the absolutely loved it. The dough tasted great and the toppings made it perfect. Amazing.

If you like a warm, inviting, and chill atmosphere with an extensive and interesting cocktail list, good service, expert and personable bartender and awesome music (the 90s are alive!), then do not miss Sheep Camp! The craft cocktail bar attached to the Miner’s Daughter/Dirty Northern, we found this place by mistake and we so glad! We also went to the Dirty Northern, which had great service, music and a nice beer selection. The apps were huge, definitely more than enough for two people. Would highly recommend checking out Sheep Camp!

Our foursome walked in last Saturday evening without a reservation and the hostess greeted us with a smile and welcomed us in, there was no waiting although the dining area filled up while we were there. The appies hot the spot, and dinner was delicious. I personally had the mushroom fazoletti, that I really enjoyed. My wife had the steak frites done to her liking. Our hostess/server managed our table well as she had a full house. I highly recommend Cooper’s for a great dining experience.

Whether you're craving steak, seafood, or vegetarian options, Earls has something to satisfy every palate. The restaurant's romantic ambiance makes it perfect for couples seeking a memorable dining experience. Guests have praised the exceptional service and well-prepared dishes at this establishment.
It's an earls. In a normal environment that would be 4 stars but by Yukon standards that is a huge complement. The food is very well prepared and service is fast and friendly. The covid measures seem to be well executed and the food is great. Honestly this might be among the better choices in the city and if it was called something different it would be far more popular. This is a great default not sure what we are having restaurant. Great for speedy take out too. I only wish the online order would be set up for a faster and more convenient experience. Thumbs up to the staff and managers for the great job they are doing.

One of the worst dishes we have ever tasted. We ordered Cajun Oven Baked Salmon because we wanted something spicy. When we took the first bite, we knew it was inedible. It was like eating raw salt. We asked the waiter if this was meant to be salty. He talked with the kitchen and said apparently the chef didn't even put any salt, it was probably the Cajun spice. Honestly, we eat Cajun spice on a daily basis and it is not supposed to taste like this. Because we couldn't eat the dish, we ordered their famous Clam Chowder. Again, inedible. There was an ingredient which was extremely sour. With every spoon, it was like playing roulette - will this spoonful be sour or not. And we were too tired for a game. We left with empty stomach and empty wallet lol.

We love Earls and we love Earls happy hour even more. It's almost our Sunday tradition to go to Earls for happy hour. So when we walked in this Earls at 4:15pm and were told that there's no happy hour, we were very disappointed. To my understanding, the whole point of being a chain restaurant is it's consistency, plus on the website, it's still advertising that the happy hour is on. Also, I tried to order a seafood entree and was told the daily ritual is not on either! This is false advertising!! Because the restaurant doesn't offer what the website states, I didn't go to the general Earls website, as you can tell by the URL, I'm on the whitehorse location's website. If you're not running specials or happy hour, at least take it down from the website. The service is mediocre as well, uopon entering, no one was at the reception, we waited for a good while and I had to poke my head in TWICE to get the waitress's attention to be seated. Only good thing is the food and drink's taste were still up par with Earls standard, otherwise I'd give it an even lower score.

Tim Hortons is a popular Canadian chain known for its premium coffee blends, light fare, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. While the brand has not yet introduced dairy-free milk options for their beverages, they offer a variety of vegan-friendly food items. Tim Hortons is renowned for its delicious donuts, with the Honey Cruller being a top favorite.
Got the blueberry cheesecake timbits - OMG - the best! I’ll live and die by that statement! Surprisingly, easy parking on the street, out front, for us in our truck camper.

Second time trying Tim Hortons, in a different province, with similar horrible experience. We wanted to give Tim Hortons another try, since we are rarely traveling in Canada. We won't need to try another Tim Hortons again, there are plenty of Mom & Pop places to enjoy. -1 Star for food. I ordered a Classic BLT Bagel and received 1 slice of bacon cut in half. Unacceptable for a morning sandwich with bacon in the name. -1 Star for trying to order and had issue with the person taking our order. -1 Star for people in the store panhandling.
Jason L — Google review
Absolutely disappointed with this place. I’m a vegetarian and ordered a veggie wrap but it came with bacon inside. I thought it was an honest mistake, threw it out and didn’t even ask for a replacement. I just told the manager and left. A few days later I came back thinking it was a one time error and ordered an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. Once again it had bacon inside. Both times my receipts clearly showed the correct vegetarian order so there was no confusion from my side. It just shows how untrained and careless the staff are and how poorly managed the place is. They are clearly understaffed and struggling to keep up during busy hours. This is completely unacceptable. If they can’t get simple vegetarian orders right twice in a row, I honestly can’t trust them with anything else. I’m definitely not recommending this place to anyone, especially if you’re vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions.

Food: The coffee here is rarely made correctly. If you ask for less sugar, they add more; if you ask for more, it still comes out wrong. Every visit, my coffee tastes different, and it’s never consistent. Customer Service: 0/10 Customer service is very poor. Coffees are left on the counter with no names or receipts, so customers are left guessing which drink is theirs. When I asked about mine, the staff insisted it was correct—but it turned out to be plain black coffee, which I never ordered. When I tried to explain, the employee dismissed me with an attitude instead of helping. Staff also spend time chatting and laughing in another language while customers are waiting, which comes across as unprofessional and disrespectful. This location needs serious improvement in both training and customer service. Orders should be made correctly, and customers should be treated with respect.
Ri A — Google review
If you’re visiting Whitehorse, I recommend skipping this Tim Hortons and heading to the other location instead. This one often gets orders wrong, and the customer service doesn’t measure up to the standard you’ll find elsewhere in town. The owner really needs to prioritize proper customer service training for the staff. As a fellow Filipino, I believe we can represent ourselves far better—with kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. This isn’t about race—it’s about delivering the quality service customers deserve. Customer feedback must be taken seriously. This store has received numerous negative reviews, yet the same employees remain in place with no visible changes or improvement.
Ku L — Google review
Service at the drive thru was rude. Lady was asking what Tim bits and we advised no birthday cakes and she then yelled "I am asking about the Tim bits" we replied advising no birthday cake ones. She was so quiet she moved on to next item. Paying the staff threw the bag of food at us we hadn't even grabbed onto it yet so it landed in the driver's lap, very rude. Then once we get to the office and start eating, the hash browns are hard as rocks. This is about 10 minutes later. The most disgusting ever..

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food chain famous for its burgers and fries. Customers have had various experiences, with some praising the exceptional food quality, quick service, and friendly staff. However, there were also instances of minor errors in orders or issues with food items not meeting expectations. Overall, McDonald's seems to offer a satisfying experience for those looking for quick and familiar fast-food options.
I’ve never left a review for a McDonald before and I’m just a passerby through this town but I’ve been here for 30 minutes and I can’t help but respect, what looks like, the manager. He clearly has a pride in keeping this place in order and making customers happy. He is incredibly attentive, working the till/orders delivery, looking to help customers before they ask and at the same time running around bring food out to cars, tidying chairs, helping a customer at their table…. Really, good for you dude. Love to see people that care. Thank you for doing your part making this place a comfortable environment. Respect

Food was good, we are traveling from Alaska and stopped here in Whitehorse. My wife has seen that Canada McDonald's still do the snack wrap, so we figured we'd stop by and give it a shot. She loved the snack wrap, I just got a double cheese and my kids got Snackwrap happy meals. However they had forgotten to put the snack wrap in the happy meals so my kids only received fries and yogurt. So I would be sure to check the bag before you leave, we normally do but after a 14 hour drive we were in a rush. The place was clean and the food we got was good.
Christopher A — Google review
If there is 0 star then I would prefer that. I am having worst McDonalds’ experience everytime I go there. This only happens only with the day staff, not in the night. I always get poutine only with 1 pump of gravy and have to eat all the fries dry. Moreover, if I need to make my breakfast or lunch meal customised they always said that they can’t do it and make me pay extra even for the sauce. I been to the McDonalds’ almost in every province but this one is the worst ever. One day, they make me wait for 20-25 minute just for 1 chicken Mcmuffin and when I got the order it was wrong. Plus, it was the manager who came to give me the order and when I asked her name to make a complaint, she completely ignored and left without saying anything.

Awesome customer service from the crew. Service is fast and consistent. Everyone got positive vibes and very helpful. Store is clean and fixtures are well maintained. Nice music and food is excellent as advertised. Can't help but go back anytime I've got free time and craving for food. Lots of parking available.
Edwin T — Google review
The most ordinary McDonald's. Sometimes the stand with the electronic menu loads poorly and freezes, I think this needs to be fixed. Also, sometimes the order is completed very slowly, since the kitchen is open, it is clear that the workers simply do not understand what to put where. There are many tables inside where you can sit and eat. It's always clean inside. The toilet is also clean, but the only negative is that the soap smells very bad (I assume that the soap has an antiseptic, which is why it stinks very much).
Yeiva — Google review
The male manager is absolutely awesome and keeps the place running. Always a good experience with him there. Today he was off and could you ever tell! We placed our order and stood and waited for ten minutes as our burgers sat on a tray getting cold. I point this out to be told two things, “we are waiting on the breakfast sandwich” and “we will make new burgers”. Both were lies. The burgers were then moved out of our eyesight and put back once they were ready awhile later. Cold as can be. And after being told these things and waiting five more minutes, we then hear them being told to make the breakfast sandwich. Being busy is understandable. Accidentally messing up your order is understandable. No one is perfect. But to DELIBERATELY lie to your customers is where the line needs to be drawn. Worst McDonald’s experience EVER! And that’s saying a lot!
Becki H — Google review
Check your bag before you leave the drive through. 4 people in vehicle, 4 meals ordered, only 2 meals correct. I didn’t check at the drive through. A mile down the road and we had to go back. 😞
Jack B — Google review
As someone who has previously worked at McDonald’s for two years, I was extremely disappointed and concerned by what I received. There are strict timer protocols for all cooked items—something every McDonald’s staff member should know. Unfortunately, the patty in my order had clearly been sitting far beyond the allowable time—based on texture, temperature, and appearance, I’d estimate it was past the timer limit by at least two or three cycles. This isn’t just poor service—it’s a serious food safety issue. If something were to happen to a customer, this could result in major consequences, including loss of license. McDonald’s is supposed to follow strict quality and safety standards. I sincerely hope management investigates and takes steps to fix this before someone gets seriously affected.

Food is great but customer service is really bad. Funny story, I ordered online for pick up for 1:20pm and set up the wrong address. Surely my mistake, I still bought another sandwich at the closer location from my work, I told them what happened but I still have to pay my food. Understandable. After I got my food, I made sure to call the other location no answer after 3 calls. I didnt even receive a call that my food is still sitting there after 5 hours. After my work, around 6pm, I went to the right location to see if possible to get a refund. The girl said no as the sandwich was built already. I said okay and left. I’ve been a manager to a fast food chain, and if I know my customers online order been sitting for more than 5 hours, I would offer a new sandwich if refund can’t be done. So probably the first and last ordering here. Good customer service helps if you want customers to come back.

A colleague and I stopped in for a bite and a pint. We sat at the bar, and Jess was our bartender. I ordered a pizza and he ordered a burger. Both turned out amazing. I have to say, the pizza was legendary. The crust was perfect. The sauce had a great flavour and tang. After eating, Jess made me an awesome old fashoined. It was very well made. My only criticism would be not to have a single large square ice cube. I will be back.

Great food, wonderful attentive staff, and prices on par for a local pub. Loved the calamari & and the poutine was even great. Can't wait to return next year. Brief edit: calamari was not right. Two hrs after eating, I experienced stomach pains, vomiting, and later diarrhea. Damn it! How does one know. Cook & mgmt need to check it if there's a bad batch or poor handling. Needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

The Wayfarer Oyster and Seafood House is a top choice for seafood enthusiasts, offering a diverse selection of oysters and other delectable seafood options. Located in downtown Whitehorse, this upmarket dining spot provides an elegant yet cozy atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meal. In addition to the variety of oyster dishes, the restaurant also serves pasta, seafood, meat, and vegetable options.
As I am very picky in regards to seafood, I was sure i was only going to try the non seafood options. But as my boyfriend dared me to try at least one oyster, I did try it. The guy who served us the oysters explained where the oysters were from and explained the sauces too - and let me tell you I was surprised how good they were.. only having one turned into having 4 in total!! They were fresh and the sauce paired so well with them. After a little wait we were served the Arctic char sando and the honey glazed five spice pork collar on rice.. my taste buds were so so happy because both dishes were just wonderfully prepared. The drinks were great as well, even tho the strawberry swing was a bit more bitter than I anticipated but that's literally nitpicking in the most luxurious form. We had their rendition of a black forest cake.. which wasn't really a cake but I am not mad about it because it was so tasty. We were very happy with the service and the food and cannot wait to come back! 🫡

Not just oysters. This place is a bit hard to find but most certainly worth the effort. This time I had oysters, the Sablefish Collars, and their Citrus Pearl cocktail. Wow!!! Here we are in the high-arctic and as a foodie this place is as good as it gets anywhere on earth. I have also had their arctic char, chicken and pork dishes, and abdominal-regrets, only longing for more. They also have vegetarian options that are also worth coming here for. Notice the malt beer tanks? Their homemade beer is superb. I have no connection to these people other than an admiration for their culinary magic. Don’t miss out!

Too bad during COVID there's no happy hour. Really loved their oysters as they're fresh and juicy. Definitely make reservations cuz they're busy on the weekend. For 2 people, you can only fine in for 1.5 hours before they take the next reso. We wanted to order more but ran out of time. The food is decent but the spot prawn is off season and I can taste that it's frozen, maybe it's better not to serve off season food. Cocktails are okay.

Best food in Whitehorse. If you’re looking for a place to get a little dressed up, have some unique and delicious cocktails with friends, this is the place. The oysters are delicious, they usually have a few different varieties from different parts of the coast. Always fresh and you can order by the half shell. Food is on a rotating menu which is nice because you can tell the cook staff really put a lot into the food. Wait staff are very personable and knowledgeable about the menu, we’re able to make good recommendations, I was also able to meet one of the owners who came by and checked in on us to see how the food was doing, also offering me a nice compliment about my sweater which was very welcomed and made my night. Long story short, this is the spot for a night on the town with friends, or a great date night.

I had previously rated this place lower because of the small portion sizes, but I just ate here again and that problem has been resolved. This place is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Seriously, the food was amazing. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a comfortable high end dining experience. The servers are attentive and the food is absolutely amazing. We had the brussel sprouts, clam chowder, and 2 of the three mains, and a delicious Ginger cake. You can see the kitchen from anywhere you're sitting, making you feel included in the process and able to see exactly how hard they're working to bring you works of art. This place is 👌

Another visitor praised the friendly and attentive service from a cashier named Addie in Whitehorse. The food was described as fresh and delicious with excellent service and ambiance.
I love that they have breakfast platters.

Went through drive through asked for kids cheeseburger just cheese and 2 mall fries. I get all the way to porter creek and was all ready ticked that out dog nocked over one child's drink from McDonald's trying to get the food and ripped a hole right through lol. So I call and she tells me I only ordered 1 fries. I said well there is 3 kids and I ordered 2 fries and 1 burger. Then tells me I only paid for 1 fries and a plain cheeseburger for the child was 8.49. I said are u kidding me. Anyways she was the manager on at 930 am July 2, 2025 and was so rude I ended up saying well thank you for nothing and hung up before I was rude. Why don't these people listen when u order. Just venting. Sick of the lousy attitudes that these training managers have.

Oops, that was our mistake. We were short on time and wanted a quick bite. The food was disappointing. Should we have known that at a fast-food restaurant? Yes and no, we've eaten at A&W more often in the (distant) past, and it was better then. My burger itself was barely visible through the gigantic lettuce leaves.
Stan E — Google review
Dined in for the frosty rootbeer mug and we were given to go cups. It was 7:00 pm and half the seating area was closed off I assume to shorten the closing cleaning at the end of the night. Disappointed.

Prices have been going up, and we can all agree that food is one of the most egregious. Nowhere is this felt more than in the restaurant industry, and especially, here at the A&W. I don't have a problem with paying more, insofar that, everything is more expensive now. What I do have a problem with is the contemporaneous drop in quality. It's so staggering, it's disrespectful. I posted a picture of the burger I paid almost $10 for. Utter garbage. Today's trip marks the last time I will ever go to the A&W in Whitehorse. Just not worth the money. Stay away

Great place for a dine-in breakfast. Good coffee and food. Very friendly staff

First timer going to an A&W but I have to say the restaurant and bathroom is super clean! The food is delicious but the only reason I have to dock a star is because the price is a little higher than it's rivals aka McDonald's

Mama burger was excellant and super fast service. Great A&W. Love the food here.

Pizza Hut is a beloved dining destination that caters to pizza lovers everywhere, offering a delightful array of options including wings, pasta, and an assortment of sides and desserts. Whether you're in the mood for a cozy dine-in experience or prefer the convenience of delivery or carry-out, Pizza Hut has you covered. One standout item is their Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza; it features a perfectly baked crust that's crispy on the outside yet soft within, generously filled with gooey cheese.
I ordered the Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza, and it was delicious. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a generous amount of gooey cheese stuffed in. The pepperoni was flavorful and evenly distributed, and the tomato sauce had a nice tang without being overpowering.

When paying $20+ for a pizza I would expect more than a tablespoon of cheese. Especially when that’s one of the three main ingredients of pizza. Disappointed.

Was driving through the Yukon to get to Alaska and landed in the great city of Whitehorse. The kids were wanting pizza so Pizza Hut it was. Have to admit that this was the saddest pepperoni lover pizza I have ever witnessed or tasted at the hut. I t the garlic bread looked and tasted stale with no real flavor. Good thing I paid extra for marinara sauce 😂

Always a pleasure coming here, picking up our order is only half the fun, seeing Karen, brightens our day. Only order from Pizza because you can't beat the personal experience.

Pizza Takeout
Domino's Pizza is a popular delivery and carryout chain known for its wide range of pizzas and other dishes. Customers can expect high-quality, delicious pizzas with perfectly cooked crusts and fresh, flavorful toppings. While the dining experience is limited to takeout or delivery, the service is efficient. Customers praise the friendly and professional staff as well as the dedication to quality and flavor.
Manvinder Singh made the best pizza. The crust was perfectly crispy yet tender, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. Every element of the pizza was crafted with care, creating a deliciously memorable experience. If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit. The dedication to quality and flavor truly sets them apart!

I ordered pizza for my class Christmas party and this is what we got. It was also completely cold. We watched the driver on the map go all the way to the other end of the town and back before delivering our pizza almost an hour late. This was for the kids. I order Dominos every year for them. Many classes at our school do. I’m not sure we will again. This was really disappointing. The kids worked hard to earn this pizza. They deserved better.
Samantha C — Google review
One of the worst Domino's service ever. I ordered pizzas for my office, reached there in time to pick them, their pizza tracker screen displayed in the shop showed my order at Quality check and then it turned "Order Ready" in 2 minutes. To my surprise, 4 guys and 1 girl were working there, and all were just looking at me cluelessly and I was looking at their screen and their faces in complete confusion. Earlier, when i entered their shop, a guy approached me and told me, the order is almost ready and then I stood there for almost 15 minutes after my order supposedly ready on screen with no response. No one had the courtesy to tell me anything about what's happening. In the meantime a couple of delivery guys packed their order and left and 2 customers, one of them after me came and left with her order but none of the people showed any respect towards me who was waiting there for so long. Finally, the girl approached me and told me to wait for 7 more minutes. I joked with her that if my pizza is stolen by some Delivery guy. They started laughing. I was trying to maintain my calm through all of this but the guys were pathetic in their approach. Another 10 minutes passed and I saw 3 more pizzas coming out of their oven but none of mine and by this time all of them were just shamelessly looking away and not facing the customer. Rather than letting me know the actual story, they continued their pathetic business as usual. So I called the girl to the front counter and asked her to cancel my order as I needed to leave since my office people were waiting for long time for the dinner. I went and bought my pizzas from Boston Pizza (by the way they were very courteous, prompt and accommodating). I will never but the Pizzas from Whitehorse Dominos again. And just for everyone's information, they just lost a business of 70 people who work in this office and we regularly order pizza lunches. Absolutely nothing is coming to Dominos for sure. Lastly I would like to mention that I got one phone call from a girl ( I won't use her name) when I was at Boston Pizza and she offered to give a free delivery (mind it, just the delivery) at my place, but had to tell her "NO" as I was already frustrated with how they treated the customer when I was actually waiting at their shop. My free advise to the Owner to review your staff hired for this job and figure out what's going on there. Thanks.

Too many bad apples. Consistently mediocre these days, it’s disappointing as I was a longtime customer for most of my life, not counting the times my dad used to order here when I was a kid either. Used to come here every week but things have changed a lot since around 2022. You can go in on any given day and expect 1 decent employee surrounded by 2-5 that stand around with hands in their pockets staring off zoned out or texting/calling via cellphone, if they aren’t hanging out in the little office. Almost every single time I come by I’m watching guys in the back with their cellphone out on their shoulder while making crust/toppings a couple feet from their face (unhygienic & unprofessional) I have been giving more of my business to the other pizza places in town this last couple years or so due to lack of consistency, quality & overall performance. This year I would come by once a month or so to see if anything changes but it does not. The bar isn’t even that high and they’ll still trip on it. Tonight I had to wait a little longer than usual, only to be met with disappointing quality yet again. Order was messed up as per usual, guy making the pies on his phone again too. Honestly, I think this year I’ve had two “good” orders out of the 7 or 8 I have placed this year, roughly a 25% success rate. If I expect bad results 3/4 times I go, why bother anymore? A few years ago I’d have made more orders than that nearly every month. It used to be a rarity when it didn’t hit right, these days the juice just ain’t worth the squeeze. No more locals working there either like the pre-Covid days, a big part of the problem. I probably won’t try again until next year at this rate, but who could blame anyone for that? With other retailers closing in on better pricing, quality, consistency, portions and (most importantly) hygiene, looks like it might be time to let the Dominos fall.

The pizza was cold when It was delivered. Because it took 1hr for them to bring it to use. We got honey garlic chicken wing and the sause was dripping everywhere in the bag. It's the worst place to buy pizza. In town and would never order from there again
Shiloh M — Google review
Its a slice of pizza in whitehorse so expectations may have been a little high. We even tried ordering multiple times to give them another shot as we all know anyone can have a off day/off shift. All the experiences were the same, over cooked pizza with very little sauce. After the second incident before ordering the third time we asked for extra sauce and for the pizza to be done a little less... came out the exact same way. At this time I dont think myself or my family will be a returning customer.

I keep running into people who's entire personalities revolve around hating domino's, while that's always a welcome breath of fresh air from your typical hiker/biker/fisher Yukon npc; I have genuinely never understood the hate a cheap pizza joint gets here. Their crusts are definitely mediocre, but one can't really complain for the price. You really do get what you pay for, and this is no different. What has sometimes deterred me the most was the location itself, more so than the pizzas, sometimes it'll be a one minute wait, sometimes a half hour. My longest wait after my order was marked complete on the app was 54 minutes. The staff that I have dealt with have been kind, and I have yet to have an issue with them. Expectations are key here, so do not go in expecting a smile and the traditional customer service of a local business. Disclaimer: I was not asked to write this review, and I am not affiliated with Domino's or any of their staff.

Nestled in the heart of the Yukon wilderness, Southern Lakes Resort & Restaurant offers a modern and stunning retreat directly on Tagish Lake. The resort boasts breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting for guests. Visitors can enjoy staying in beautiful lakefront cabins that offer a chance to disconnect and fully relax while taking in the stunning scenery.
The place is absolutely beautiful, right in front of a lake where you can see the mountains at the back and pine trees. The cabins themselves add to the landscape. Staff is very friendly and make you feel at home, it is a very warm environment, they were also very flexible to cater to our needs. The Snowmobile tour was lovely and super interesting. We were able to see some super intense aurora during our stay. Food was also amazing. This was THE perfect spot for our honeymoon.

Absolutely amazing experience. Oliver, The GM, and all his staff, were kind , respectful, and always working hard and doing their best to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the drive from Whitehorse to the resort is incredible too . Lots of activities and things to do when you arrive, connectivity is limited at times when you’re not at the main lodge but the views make up for it . On the drive you can ask to stop and take photos of the lakes and mountains you pass on the highway to the resort, I’ll add some photos . Food is delicious as well. We will be returning soon!

Wow, what an amazing stay! We enjoyed 3 cosy nights in the Log Cabin. Such beautiful staff, tasty food and breathtaking views. We saw a little of the Aroura the first night too. We had a blast on the Snow Mobiles, I highly recommend this adventure and spending time with Ben and his Sled Dogs is a must do. The Southern Lakes Resort is the perfect way to relax and unwind in nature away from the chaos of life. Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon Oliver, we’ll be back some day soon, Scotty & Nikki (March 2025/ Gold Coast)

This place was amazing. Stayed 3 nights and added on the meal package. Well worth it. Everything was top notch, we loved all our meals, the cabins are extremely nice, and it is a great spot to do some day or half day trips to Carcross and Atlin. We cannot wait to go here again.

You know you're in for an adventure when Google Maps decides your truck, boat, and a full load of toddlers are secretly an elite ATV rally team. What started as a promising drive to paradise quickly devolved into a 5-mile off-road odyssey straight through "terrain that only a mountain goat (or an overzealous digital cartographer) could love." We navigated what I can only describe as an "ATV drive" – less road, more rebellious trail. My trusty truck now boasts a new, custom "pin-stripe" paint job, courtesy of several unyielding trees and rogue branches. Apparently, trying to back up a mile with a boat in tow, on a path clearly not designed for anything wider than a very skinny deer, offers ample opportunities for arboreal redesign. My apologies to Mother Nature, and my wallet. But, oh, the destination! After our unexpected off-roading, we finally arrived at what can only be described as an "incredible find." Forget the GPS-induced trauma; this place offers one of the best views of Tagish Lake and its majestic mountain range I've ever seen. Beautiful wooden cabins are scattered across the property, each boasting a large balcony that practically hangs over the lake and mountains. The food? Absolutely excellent! They even have a kids' menu (a miracle for any parent). And as if reading my mind, each toddler received a complimentary scoop of ice cream – clearly, they understand the universal toddler peace treaty. While a couple more main options would be nice, the existing ones were stellar: wild Sockeye Salmon from Haines, Pork Schnitzel with a creamy mushroom sauce, and Pistachio-crusted stuffed chicken breast. The toddlers, naturally, debated the merits of hotdogs, chicken nuggets, and grilled cheese. Three separate dining areas also confirm they're definitely children-friendly. The wildlife sightings didn't disappoint either! We witnessed a moose with two newborn calves right on the beach, getting their very first swimming lesson. Thankfully, the calves decided land-based learning was sufficient for their debut. Smart kids, unlike their driver following Google Maps! Despite the truck's newfound "character," this place was truly a gem. Highly recommend... just maybe verify the route with a local before you go!
