The mee goreng was a tad too spicy for my taste, but the rojak sotong and chendol were perfectly prepared. The restaurant's cleanliness and organization also deserve commendation. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.

Cendol was really good especially the cendol nangka but the mee sotong was so so. Price is reasonable.

We ordered cendol kacang & pulut. Nicely balanced cendo with homemade cendul that's pandan pale. Not the bright green ones. The kuih & cucur kelapa in the rojak is spot on however the gravy is mild and not adding to the overall rojak taste. Mee goreng mamak has a curry taste which not the usual kind mee mamak. Overall is good.

Was here on weekend. High crowd but still have place to seat. Comfortable and clean. Order via scanning QR on the table. Friendly staffs. Many choices of cendol. Service was fast. The coconut milk was rich and creamy. Taste was normal since it was raining outside. Pasembur was ok. The kuah was more to sweet.

Friendly and fast service. Lots of drinks variety. Pasembur Rojak sauce was aromatic and the rojak itself had lots of crispy bits. Mee Goreng had lots of extras instead of only noodles. Portions were overall generous for the price. Cendol was a good finisher. Smaller portion as a chilled dessert than a main. Walking distance to the tourist information center and they open late towards dinner time tool. Would definitely lunch again if visiting Ipoh in the future.

I went for Dim Sum today at GreenTown Dim Sum in Ipoh, and it was a really great experience! What makes this place special is that it’s pork-free, so it’s perfect for halal eaters or anyone who avoids pork, including many Indian diners. They offer a wide variety of tasty options made with chicken and prawns, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. If you’re in Ipoh and craving Dim Sum, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

The food at this restaurant is really good and worth trying, but I think they need to take better care of the place. The aircon is quite weak, which makes it uncomfortable at times. Service should be faster, and the staff need more training to be better organized. They should also serve all plates at the same time instead of one by one, to give a better dining experience. With some improvements, this place could be excellent.

Finally made it to one of the first halal chinese owned dimsum houses in Ipoh. Not sure how it was when it first opened, but now although they do serve acceptable dimsum and dishes, it is just managing a passable rating with hits and misses. The fillings are sometimes delicious but then let down by the skin, as exampled by the siew mai that had its snow skin broken. I think this can be summarised by the ‘lokek’ in the ingredients, whereby if they do not stinge the food would be over the top. Imagine chinese noodles without any seafood, even a couple of shrimps would have sufficed, and you would get my meaning . Overall, a good place for someone who just started to try out halal chinese yum cha, but for those with an already developed taste would be better to look elsewhere in town. I keep saying my chinese boys in Ipoh would be complaining loudly if they dined here during the meal.

Went to the restaurant around afternoon on Saturday. Not too crowded. We were seating outside at first but the staff quickly suggested a table inside when they saw our baby in stroller. Food: 10/10 We ordered some dim sums, stir fried radish, & cantonese noodle. The dim sums were big compared to other dim sum that i had before and the fillings were really delicious! All other foods were also in big portions. Price: Affordable Personally i think the price was quite cheap compared to other dim sum places. We ordered a lot but the price came at less than rm100. Overall, it was a really great experience dining here! We most likely will come again when we visit ipoh or maybe we will come just to dine here!

Just 1 word. Superb - Greentown Dimsum Café offers a superb halal dim sum experience, earning high praise for its diverse and authentic menu. I love chicken rice and am very much a Chicken Rice enthusiast but I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here. Plate of chicken rice was RM9, extra rice RM4. The chicken rice was not good, below average. Rice and soup was very distasteful, luckily chicken was good. The biggest redflag was the cleanliness. My table was beside stacks of dirty plate and food waste. Stacks of dirty plate and heaps of food waste also literally in middle of restaurant and right next to the clean plates and food area. Table, floor and wall also dirty, took a peek at the kitchen behind and it looked like a workshop. The guy cutting the chicken didn't wear a sanitary head cap, his hair might fall into the chicken. The rice cooker pot wasn't close and exposed to air. Staff were so disorganised and looked like they didn't wanna be there, not attentive and not friendly. Finished my food quickly so I could leave asap, restaurant was so sad, need renovation, so gloomy. How la Muslim do business like this, as Muslim also am ashamed.

This place came in as among the best food in Ipoh in some website. Not so sure why they emphasized the "halal" there, is hard to get halal nasi ayam in Ipoh? I'm from klang valley and as a person who like to eat nasi ayam especially hainan style, the taste is definitely below average compared to some nasi ayam in KL with a much cheaper price. The rice is tasteless and overcooked until its "kembang". The chicken is dry and a bit hard. The soup taste overloaded with ginger. The soy souce is so so. Its quite disappointing and it doesn't make sense this restaurant end up in some food review sites. If you are coming from KL and know the taste of nasi ayam chee meng or nasi ayam hailam, this is far from that. The star given only because the service was fast (maybe no other customer at the time i arrived) and also because of easy parking in front of the shop.

It appear in suggested food in Ipoh for 2022 in website. But sorry to say this is not the best chicken rice. The chicken is dry, rice is dry, and soup is tasteless. Cannot represent for Ipoh Perak state. Chicken is significant every state in Malaysia, like Malacca you will find rice ball chicken rice. In Klang Valley you can find crispy chicken rice. Ipoh is famously hainanese chicken rice and its bean sprouts. Why is recommended food in Ipoh???

This is my childhood restaurant, my go-to restaurant. But today i am a bit dissapointed of the service i had and the ayam. The chicken of mine a bit small like half of the usual serving. And the service have a lot things to improved such as greet the customers and please smile often!

Nice nasi ayam in ipoh, indeed legendary.. Run back earlier modern perak, tastinees keep well since then.. Always ask for double chicken portion, goes well with chilies provided.. Ask also kaki ayam soup, always hotsell here...

Tasty simple food in Cool, Clean environment away from the heat outdoors. 2 Rice with 1 piece of chicken and 1 vegetable side dish each, 1 kasturi lime asam boi drink. Total RM18.80. One Wall decorated with ‘tudung makanan’ and small light green painting. Space well compartmentalised; Drinks Section, hand basin, giving a clean and structured look. Feel comfortable to eat here. Tried Assam House Ipoh for dinner. Honestly, the food was just okay. I had high expectations for their curry assam fish, but it turned out pretty average. Some of the other dishes were decent, but overall the taste didn’t really stand out. The restaurant itself is comfortable with plenty of space, and service was fine. I’m not too sure what the concept is here. It feels like a mix between Thai and Nyonya. Still, it’s not a bad spot for a casual meal, just not as impressive as I expected.

The owner-Zul Yahya is very friendly, the customer service from also good. Only the food service is a bit slow however explained by Zul it is due to shortage of staff and he already apologised for it. The food taste is 4/5 only the bawal fish is overcooked, very dry. So far may be next time can come again for the steamboat.

Reasonable pricing of RM32 per person for adult. Food selection was abit less but it was super fresh. Definitely, I love the steamboat package where I can get the variety of steamboat things, fried rice, noodle, pasta, nasi lemak, ice cream and a lot of drinks' choices. My favourite steamboat gravy is tomyam. The tomyam is so nice. Not too spicy and not too sour. The staff also easy to communicate.

Service very bad. Food served really late. Staff lack of some basic servicing. We came at noon for Nasi Bajet, Mee Bandung and Ayam Penyet. Staff should explain what are their menu. We're not from here or repeat customer. Mee Bandung and Ayam Penyet taste so-so. Waiting time almost half and hour eventhough not really crowded with other customer. But, Nasi Bajet (Daging Masak Hitam) really delicious and tasty. Value for money. (See picture). Deserved 5 star for taste, price and portion. Customer service need to be improved. Menu booklet also need to reorganize. I giving 2 star because bad experience on customer service and waiting time.

Taste-wise, it was alright nothing to shout about, just your standard meal. What stood out (in a not-so-great way) was the floor staff. They seemed more focused on chatting among themselves in one corner rather than attending to customers. Prices were reasonable, though. We heard this restaurant is really famous in Ipoh, so we came. Parking wise, you have to park a little far away.Small shop with limited seatings. If you come on weekends or public holidays, I suspect hahh you will have to queue to order and makan. We came during weekday, the shop had just opened so there was no problem ordering. The foods were ok, mi kicap was bit salty.We ordered yong taufu (it was sedap)mi kari kerang,mee wantan special and mi kicap.

I gave one star because I didn't like the attitude of the staff. I waited 45 minutes for the food to be served. So I asked the staff what took them so long to serve the food while it was just mee kicap and yong tau foo. The staff answered sheepishly 'banyak order. satu orang order 5-6'. I probe further and he said, 'abang pergi lah tengok sendiri kat tempat sedia makanan tu'. No doubt there were many people at the shop, but from my observation it was because everyone was waiting for the food and the kitchen kept tapau food for grab or food panda and leaving behind the customer at shop. Had they have proper order system and kitchen preparation the problem could be quickly fixed. So, if you have impatient personality, it would be better for you to find some other place to eat. On the quality of the food, the mee kicap was average. The mee kicap was served together with some kuah kari. The Yong tau foo sauce was quite good.

Bought them online and although it took long time but it was all worth it. Love the Lontong Special with Sambal Sotong and the Soto! If ever I come here again I will eat at the shop. The gravy is silky smooth and the sambal is just absolutely marvellous. Even the Nasi Lemak was delicious but ‘feels’ average if compared with the Lontong. Recommended!

If you are a lontong lover, this is the place in Ipoh that can cater you a very delicious original lontong. Plus Theres also other breakfast dishes such as nasi lemak and mee kari. The price is affordable.

A bit crowded during cuti sekolah. But the food is yummy. All drink range price rm2.50. The lontong is so sedap with sambal sotong paru goreng n fhe sambal kelapa. I was so excited since it was my first time step in to this beautiful modern style food restaurant However, after go through the menu and made order, i was inform that the food i have ordered already finish (it was only 9pm that time) Then i have request to cancel the order inclusive the beverages, but before i went out, the staff ask me to stay for the beverage. After waited for 20mins, i ask again whether the beverages are ready but the staff only ask me to wait without any further info. 10mins later i went off without a word. I have wasted my 30mins with no food & beverages, feeling hungry & my husband patiently, hungrily waiting for me. Not a good impression for first timer, kindly improve since the ambience & the food looks very good.

Tried a few dishes recently, and here are my thoughts: 1. Kapdai Fried Bihun Mee – 9/10 RM8.50 A solid dish with great wok hei, making it both flavorful and satisfying. 2. Char Koay Teow (Same Stall) – 3/10 (RM8.50) Unfortunately, this one was too oily for our liking, which took away from the overall experience. 3. Dry Curry Noodle – 8/10 (RM10) Rich and flavorful with a good balance of spices. A satisfying option if you're in the mood for something hearty. 4. Dapao Big Face / Ban Chang Kuih– 3/10 RM1.70 Looked promising at first, but the taste and aroma didn’t quite match expectations. Disclaimer: Taste is subjective, and personal preferences vary. This place existed in my memory since childhood days whenever I visited Ipoh. It is one of the oldest famed kopitiam in Ipoh beside Tin Chun and Kong Heng during the 70s. In those days, it is popular for its yummy Ipoh’s noodles called ‘Ho Her’. It has a clear broth with glass noodles served with fish cake, fish balls and Dong cai, a preserved Chinese vegetable. Unfortunately, the older generation has passed on, the current Ho Hee store didn’t live up to the previous standards, the broth was blend with a tint of sweetness, the fish balls we’re super salty that we didn’t feel right having the second one. This is a total let down. I won’t recommend this noodle if you happen to patronize this place. My sister decided to give the Hainanese curry noodles a try. It turned out pretty authentic, the broth was aromatic with the curry mixed well with the blended potatoes to thicken the curry broth. Although it appeared to be spicy but it was not. So this is worth a try. We also ordered the Cantonese fried hor fun from one of the stores. The Cantonese fried was mediocre and average. I heard the Ipoh popular Chicken Sa Hor Fun was not that great though the broth looked yummy. There were quite a few other stores selling other stuffs. I noticed the one selling the Chinese apom (Dai Kou min) seemed busy. We also tried the Ipoh famous dessert, the steamed egg custard. It tasted ok but not fantastic. This place is located in the heart of Ipoh new town which can be easily reached. I find there are many other kopitiams in Ipoh serve better food than this one.

Definitely must eat here is the dry curry mee!! The gravy is very thick and savory!! Another must try is the Gai xi horfun. Don't let the look deceived U!! The prawn broth is rich umami flavorful that I cant help finishing all😋

This place over priced and the most of the food tested not nice. The curry mee taste nothing but curry powder. The roti bakar was really bad but the outer look is great. The hor fun is nice. The coffee is not nice too. Overall doesn't reflect the reviews for us.

Prawn mee broth is full of prawn aroma. Pho is excellent (a little like cheong feng type) soak up the broth if you didn't finish the meal quick enough.

I’ve marked this eatery in my google maps for almost a year, finally managed to go last sunday. And it was so worth it. The place is crowded with customers but has plenty of tables and chairs. The foods are aplenty with soo many choices to be made. From fishes to chickens to beef, lamb, udang galah if it’s your lucky day, to the veges, kerabus, and eggs. Even the drinks tastes soo good. The price? RM 48 for two pax (kami makan banyak). So worth it. Will come again! Price- 100/10 Cleanliness - 10/10 Selesa? Yes, open air but tak panas. Rasa? Sedap ikut tekak sy. Tak manis, which is to my liking. Daging dendeng tu ja yg tak berapa dendeng. Star of the show? Kerabu daun mengkudu. I can have it with nasi panas and ikan goreng pun dh cukup. Allll day. Kudos to the team.

My usual place to eat every Sunday. Delicious and not expensive. You can take your own drinks at the place provided and put the amount of ice you want. I prefer this way bcos i dont really like ice so i just add water to my drink. You'll get me if you go there yourself. Too many menu to choose from which is a good thing! It has lots of table so can cater lots of people at one time. At noon the place is a bit hot and too crowded. Come early before 12 noon is what I suggested.

A nasi campur restaurant particularly during lunchtime. Can be crowded. The restaurant occupies two shop lots including the end lot near PETRONAS station. Huge selection of food - grilled, masak lemak, asam pedas, ulam etc. Very tasty food. Price is slightly above the market. Hygiene of the restaurant needs improvement.

Placed an order through a male staff member. Mentioned several times I’m in a rush. He didn’t mention that I need to order through a barcode. The rest of my family continued to place orders through a barcode. Their food arrived except for mine and my mum's. Asked the female staff to check our food. TWICE. Mum's food arrived. Flagged the female staff again. She came and said my order is not in the system. That’s all. I asked if she did something. Place my order? Ask the kitchen to quickly do my order. She said “ nope. Coz not in the system”. Frustrated, I told her that she had gone to the kitchen twice. Didn’t she check? It’s been too long. And she rudely responded to me making a rude face too. Food was good but THE STAFF needs improvement. SO RUDE.

So many people come here. They have many types of food to choose. They also provide some english breakfast in the morning. Enjoy the malay food they prepare with mixed vegetables and dishes. They have delicious drinks and dessert too. Suitable for everyone but need to come early since too many people around. The environment was great with clean and tidy restaurant. The service are good too.

People come and go... Most of the time, all table is full and need to wait for a while for empty table, in the morning around 8am on Sunday.... Food - Good, tasty and cheap food... Service - need to call for the people taking order and need to wait around 5 - 10 min due to overwhelming people in the place.. After order, food come quite fast...

Real Malay cousine serves here everyday. Food are full of varieties and most important thing is SEDAAP or YUMMY. Desserts and drinks are marvelous and big size... Finally but not least, prices are insanely fair where beggars and tycoons can eat here. This is what we called it "making the food, "BARAKAH" or blessed... Alhamdulillah...

Restaurant was crowded during weekday lunch time. People had to wait for tables. Drinks took a while to arrive.Coffee was just ok. The rojak was also just average. The taste was not distinctive. Asked for spicy but couldn’t taste the spiciness as well. The laska was also average. Didn’t have any fish meat in it. The yong taufu foo stall was really crowded. Fried stuff was good.

Key in Waze to get to a local favourite kopitiam but ended up here. Maybe the name is almost the same and I am careless to read every word in full when clicking. No air cond but with stalls. We sat outside and ended up shooing flies. The Kai see hor fun is terrible. The western food is still ok. Toast should be butter Kaya but came with margarine Kaya. Drink normal. Will not come back. We park near the other kopitiam which sells dim sum and walk over here. Maybe the food is better since it is quite crowded. This area is a food haven with many eateries.

Came here because they open early. There are many vendors that cook food fresh. We chose the pre-cook food because they had rice. It was about 10 RM more or less and you can choose your own items.

Tried the fried kway teow. The portions were generous and tasted good. The curry noodles had thick gravy and portions were generous too. It came with some chicken breast meat, roast pork and some dried beancurd puff.

I'm a regular at this coffee shop. This fried fish cake is one of my favourites. Can compete with the very famous one nearby. Should try their laksa and curry soup noodle.

Whenever anyone mention about Ipoh, it’s usually their limestones, temples, and the FOOD. Ipoh is all about local foods, and they are well known for its “Sui Fun” which are translated into soup noodles. These Sui Fun are usually pair with a selection of handmade “Yong Tau Foo” or we usually call it “Liu” in Cantonese. Before I was recommended to come here, we usually go to the one under the “Big Tree” which many of locals call it “Big Tree Foot”. For some reasons, it feels like these kind of food originated from that place. Moon and Moon. Sounds like a random kopitiam, but this Sui Fun stall deserves my 5⭐️ food review. Not for their service or atmosphere, but the “Liu”. I must say their homemade fried fish paste is one of the best in Ipoh. Typing this now makes my stomach growl just thinking of it. Though their noodles can be inconsistent, I do like their dry curry and laksa. I recommend coming here ~2pm to escape the lunch crowd, but no later than 3pm as it might sell out. Another recommendation at this kopitiam (didn’t take photo) is their fruit rojak + crackers which I find quite decent. Come here for your Sui Fun + Liu cravings! 🤤🤤🤤

Lots of good food stalls, especially Zha Liew. Great cuppa coffee with cup pre-heated, cost you RM1.80 (2019), RM2.00 (early 2022) and RM2.10 (later 2022). Their dessert also worth a mention with daily Tong Shui, and in a hot day, get a bowl of Wan Tau Long. Challenging task to find parking in the morning & lunch time since it's surrounded by a few eateries.

Cathay Mee certainly lives up to the hype! After a long search for truly authentic mee goreng, I can confidently say this is one of the best I've had in a long time. Been visiting this stall for the last 35 years and the taste has been the same. Make sure the try their Mee Goreng with extra Tafu and keropok and the Thick Mee Rebus.

What I like about mee goreng mamak is the wonderful blend of texture and flavour that complement each other, making the dish so satisfying to eat. This is one of the best in town and the secret lies in the special sauce they use to fry the noodles. The thing that strikes me first is the nice aroma of the fried mee. Noodles have that al-dente texture and a fusion of nutty sweet, savoury + spicy flavour with a hint of smokiness. The other ingredients of fried tofu, bean sprouts and boiled potatoes add another dimension of texture to the dish. Squeeze a bit of that sliced lime for a zesty taste. The seller had previously operated from a stall in the coffee shop across the road. Nothing much to describe about the dining space except that it is made for fast food where people come to eat and go. There is hardly a vacant parking spot along the busy road in front of the restaurant. But there are some vacant ones at other roads 50-100 metres away.

My favourite go to for real mamak mee goreng. I mean real when they make it with the actual sauce - which is part of the mee rebus gravy. Someone said the owner chef no more frying but everytime I pass by or makan here for sure it is him and his wife. The staffs are quite friendly and the drinks sedap. Come here if you want the real stuff 😝 Lots of take away action …. Have to wait a bit lah if you want good stuff. It’s 4pm and 9 tables occupied… Cathay Mee Stall…

The service at Cathay Mee Stall is very slow. Attended the stall today 7 Jul 25. Stall was not even one quarter full and there were not many take away customers. It took 50 minutes for our mee goreng to arrive. This is unacceptably slow. The taste of the mee goreng is not as good as it used to be when the stall was obe third the size. Mee goreng was too wet and parts of it was burnt. All in all not a pleasant experience.

Mee goreng was excellent as expected. Rojak was tasty too. Best to try at odds hours like we usually do, otherwise if you visit during peak hours you will have to wait quite a while as even getting a table was quite a challenge. Parking might be bit of a problem if you visit during peak hours.

A great mee goreng uncle!! The mee goreng were juicy & super delicious because the uncle put some secret sauces. Please come here if you are craving a delicious mee goreng. The taste is the best in Malaysia. But the downside is the cleanliness. The lady boss collect money [cash and coins] with the same pair of hands and use these same pair of hands to handle food without first washing her hands. The boss shall look into better food safety and food hygene. The same pair of hands also used to gorek kepala and gorek hidung. If cleanliness is put as their top priority, I will give a high 5.

Deen CT Corner Cendol offers a traditional cendol experience, but the taste is fairly ordinary. The pulut rice was very soft—not my preference, as I prefer a firmer texture. Parking can be a bit challenging, so plan accordingly. Overall, a decent spot but nothing particularly standout.

The ever famous Cendol! And what a letdown! Disappointing.. not that it tasted bad but I had higher hopes considering the reviews they had. Ordered 2 cendols - 1 with glutinous rice (pulut) and the other with corn. Cendol with pulut - tasted bland but refreshing, thanks to our warm Malaysian climate. Shaved ice is clumpy, can’t really taste coconut milk, gula Melaka is not fragrant and not much ingredient really. Place is without AC and parking is surprisingly easy to get. Queuing time is bearable as the auntie works fast. The seating area is dirty and sticky.

Dropped by Deen CT Corner Cendol yesterday and wow — what a treat! We went for the jagung and kacang cendol, and it totally hit the spot. The sweetness from the jagung paired perfectly with the creamy coconut milk, and those red beans? Soft, generous, and absolutely addictive. The ice was just right — not too coarse, not too fine — and everything was drenched in rich, fragrant gula melaka. Service was fast, friendly, and full of charm. No frills, just honest-to-goodness flavour in every spoonful. If you’re in Ipoh and craving cendol that slaps — this is the spot. Five stars!

Saw this shop across the road. On this sunny day, what can quench your throat if it's not "cendol"? Their iconic one is Cendol PJK, Pulut Jagung Kacang. It is just your regular cendol, but the feel of eating it in a limited place and sitting while watching a busy road. It's just a perfect place for photography. Honestly I not a fan of cendol, but hey, at least I try their special.

We ordered the cendol biasa and cendol pulut. Cendol biasa is RM3 and cendol pulut was RM4.50, and we liked both. It’s not too sweet as we thought. Seating arrangement was rather basic. Just few stools and benches with no tables. Good for a quick cendol fix.

Coming here because got the latest viral sensations from Viral Perak FB page. Set up a booking for 2 people. Coming down here because we are a big fan of Shellout meal and today is my mother's birthday. I ordered a Shellout meal for 2 and a Sotong Bakar and to our disappointment all of the seafood that we got are old and smelly plus they didn't cook our food right and we can and might get food poisoning. When they take it back, we thought they are going to change it but no, they just heat it up and we are not okay with it. This is the first time for me to drop review here & first time ever cannot tolerate about some food. First time try & definitely last time ! Bihun tomyam not taste tomyam at all because they put some chilli you know that chilli you blender to masak cabai nasi lemak tu? OMG. sucks. Then come asam pedas pari me & my husband sharing. At first he tried, seriously I didn't get what he meant with "pelik la rasa dia". When I try, wahhh that taste ah you can't even swallow. Dah lah tak ada rasa asam pedas langsung kuah dia. Rasa dia pelik because of that claypot hangit ! Macam tak basuh bersih pun ada. When complaint, didn't get any apologize at all. Such a terrible restaurant I'd ever come.

Probably the worst pari asam pedas that I ever tasted. The pari is obviously an old stock that the meat color has change dark and it taste like fridge. Asam pedas does not taste like asam pedas, it sweet but it did has that masam and pedas taste lmao. Not recommended at all.

Crowded during breakfast. Must book. Food - so so... Asam Pedas was too hot that my hand feels burning hours after eating. Thus could not say whether it is tasty or not. Seeing other customers waiting for their drinks to arrive made me feel thankful mine was on the table

Found this shop at Silibin rated well with some good comments, in fact was stated they have the best "Mee Rebus". The same shop at Teluk Intan's branch is famous for their Mee Rebus too. Since they have the reputation, gave a try without thinking much. Welcoming staffs, generous portion, items are balanced well, plating was decently presentable but ... The kuah was a mess. Not sure if they had a taste before serving but it was extremely salty almost like seawater. Squeezed the lime yet no difference. Had to gulp down plain water. People rated well on Google and some even mentioned their grandparents love the Mee Rebus here. Means they do have regular old timers love their food. So much of potentials and everything that is necessary for a Mee Rebus present, cucur taste so good, yet the salt ruined the entire experience. Hopefully they can improve and be mindful with the salt. Otherwise it would have been on "must try in Ipoh" list. Potential yet careless. 💔

This has been my late parents favourite place for mee rebus. Originally from teluk intan they opened a branch here in ipoh. Very nice mee rebus served. They also serves nasi ayam and rojak sotong. Price is reasonable and u get good food. Drinks are simple. Dont order the air nenas (pineapple drink) its just plain water and sliced pineapple inside the drink. They serve ais kacang as well. If you like eating mee rebus come here for a plate. Not to be missed.

The chicken rice was good..delicious.however the premis is quite crowded.the stall owner should space the tables a few feet apart..not joining them together 'cause sometimes some patro s prefer to dine in comfort & not to be bothered by the neighbours who might be noisyly chatting.

Mee rebus (rm4.50) sedap tp tawar sedikit. Perlu tambah kicap (disediakan) mengikut citarasa. Air nenas (rm2) guna nenas dlm tin, bukan jus. Cendol (rm2.50) sedap sbb tidak terlalu manis & santan tidak terlalu pekat maka tidak muak. Mee rebus (rm4.50) is good but slightly tasteless. A dash of soy sauce (readily available) elevates the taste to your liking. Pineapple drink (rm2) is made from canned pineapple, not a juice. Cendol (rm2.50) is refreshing bcs it is not too sweet & not too thick, just nice to quench the thirst.

Sweet savoury taste. Add extra chilli for perfect taste.

Loved this restaurant! Came back twice on our few days in Ipoh. Chef Uni was super friendly and we had a good chat on both visits. He also kindly made some vegetarian options for me (even though not on menu). Super tasty and affordable food. Ipoh white coffee was great too.

Their Ayam Garam & Roasted Duck are my fav mains alongside their side dishes — lo mai gai & baos! Would often order online on GrabFood too. I'm Indonesian and I was here in November 2023. At first, I tried some of their food for dinner and surprisingly everything was SO GOOD! We decided to go back the next day and try other dishes and nothing disappointed. I love their lobak and we even ordered more for a take away haha. This is a halal chinese restaurant and they served a big portion The owner came to our table and we talked for a few moments. He asked about the food and mentioned that he has visited several cities in Indonesia. He's so nice and the service is excellent. His wife is also very kind. I'd love to come back here once I visit Ipoh again. See you again uncle!

The iced kopi was great, I also ordered the fried kuetiau which was packed full of flavour and spicier than I’d expected. I am from the UK though so we’re not very good with spicy food

Went to have breakfast with my big family of 15 people. Food were great, the atmosphere was refreshing. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and they made us feel like going to a relative house for rumah terbuka. They also took some time to chat and share interesting places in Ipoh. Great place if you are looking for lunch, teatime for light local food in Jelapang. It’s a store located within residential house. They rest every Friday except for public holiday. The Rojak come with variety of fruits & vege like mango, pineapple, guava, jicama, & cucumber. It also come with the favorite crunchy prawn cracker, can always top up. 1 of the best thing is, they provide individual plate of rojak sauce with peanut. The laksa is average in taste, but the 炸沙葛 (Fried Turnip) is a hidden gem. It’s a Ipoh speciality which not easy to eat from other state, it taste really good & big in size. The ABC Ice Kacang is below average as there is no gula melaka. I won’t be recommend if purposely come from far away to eat this, but if you are somewhere around Jelapang, I would be a good choice for late breakfast, lunch, teatime, or dessert. They accept TNG eWallet & cash.

Food is alright. The place is kinda hot and there's no fan providing good air ventilation.

The fu-pei were chewy and laksa ok. The rojak sauce were too sweet and lacking the 'belacan' oomph.

ROJAK(large) cost RM17 , for me is abit pricy, the taste is just normal, However, the fruit is fresh.

Basically it’s the only stall that is sustaining the entire food court. Other stalls don’t do quite well and many have closed down. The Rojak Pasembur here is definitely one of the better ones in Ipoh. There are others but I still like this one. The gravy is thick, sweet and savoury at the same time. Condiments has shrunken over the years… inflation.. My personal combo: Rojak Pasembur and a cup of Teh Ais. Yummy. Usually won’t have any problems getting any parking. The food court is a bit dark and not too clean. Not dirty but not too clean. Can always opt for takeaway.

Very nice rojak here and the sauce is really thick and tasty . This stall sells mee goreng , Maggie goreng as well and the Cendol is actually order from another stall . Buy looking at the color , you know this Cendol is not really yummy . The gula Melaka is not thick and sweet . And they only serve with jagung and this bowl is Rm4 per bowl . The rojak with egg is Rm7 . Parking here is not a problem but don’t forget to pay your parking during weekdays and Saturday .

This is one of the better places for hakka mee in Ipoh; it's nicer than the one at Paris restaurant. On the overall, for me this is the 2nd best hakka mee in Ipoh. It finishes by around 11am.

Arguably one of the BEST HAKKA MEEs (客家面) you'll ever find in Ipoh -> springy noodles in a sauce full of flavour! Their side dishes compliments the main dish well too!
