The Tan Yard welcomes guests with a brilliant welcome, special menus for vegetarians and vegans, and clear that their food is based on local produce. The food is quick and attentive service at great price for the quality offered.
Can’t recommend this place enough, it exceeded all my expectations. My boyfriend and I went there yesterday while we were visiting Killarney, and we left completely delighted. The food was absolutely incredible, from the starters to the desserts, accompanied by exquisite and impeccable service (in particular, I would like to highlight the waitress who took our orders; I wish I knew her name, she was one of the best professionals I've seen in a long time). And finally a very pleasant atmosphere that made the evening even more memorable. The best restaurant we’ve been to in Ireland so far, we will definitely go back.
Naha — Google review
One of the best dishes of my trip. The service was impeccable, our waitress from knowledgeable and attentive. Each dish was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The menu offerings were a true representation of Irish dishes presented in a modern way. The best potatoes we have had and some of the best venison I have had in a long while.
Emily B — Google review
The Tan yard is a beautiful place with a very nice atmosphere and a great vibe. SERVICE is friendly and nice. Food was good, but not excellent. we ordered the wedge salad. steak was perfectly cooked, but a little bit on the tough side. cauliflower was OK. but left a little bit of flavour though cheesy. The garlic shrimp was tasty, but the shrimp was little bit overcooked.
Virginia H — Google review
Went here to celebrate my honeymoon with my husband and WOW. They really treated us amazing. The cocktails are so bomb. My hubby got the yew tree and i got the belt and braces and they were the best drinks we had the whole trip. The gruyere mashed potatoes were so good I want to make them for thanksgiving. I got the venison which was good not great but the hostess and the waiter acknowledged our big day, which was so sweet. They gave us a delicious dessert and I am so haopy we came here!
Kara G — Google review
Lovely dining experience. Great service and menu choices. Well plated and delicious. The vegan scallops were a well thought out treat! Each bite had a sweet/sour/crisp/soft element! Yum! The cauliflower steak was also a delight!! Our party of two enjoyed this early dinner (5pm) on a Tuesday evening.
Tarilee — Google review
I had a nice experience dining in this restaurant. The linguine and Yuzu cake were delicious. The ambiance and service were great. They also gave complimentary starters and desserts which were also delicious.
Darlene G — Google review
Had dinner at The Tan Yard in the Killarney Plaza Hotel. The starters were lovely — we really enjoyed the croquette and scallops. However, the main fish dishes (Halibut and Black Sole) were quite disappointing for the price — nothing special and not worth the cost. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but overall, the mains let it down a bit.
Veronika K — Google review
Probably the best meal we’ve had this year - brilliant across all three courses, plus great no-alcohol cocktails. Atmosphere also lovely, great vibe inside and good service throughout. We had the croquette to start, the venison and the beef linguine for mains, and the yuzu cake for dessert - all great, the venison the highlight for me. The bread served prior to the courses was also excellent, as were the madeleines that came with the bill - small touches always go a long way. For the money spent (sharing a starter/dessert), you can’t get much better. Would very much recommend!

Gastropub
Nestled in Killarney, the Celtic Whiskey Bar & Larder is not just a place for whiskey enthusiasts. It offers a delectable selection of gourmet pub food, from traditional dishes like haddock and prawn chowder to more innovative options such as steamed mussels with nduja. As the night progresses, the bar comes alive with Irish pub vibes and an extensive cocktail menu.
The bar staff Sacha and Amelia were fantastic and very knowledgeable about the drinks - the cocktails were gorgeous and I cannot get over how vast the selection of whiskey was. Lovely little spot. Worth a visit
Edel H — Google review
The atmosphere of this place was great! The batterings were sweet and knowledgeable and I had an amazing time. I loved all of their recommendations and they were and too do it at a good price range for me
Lauren V — Google review
Wow! This place was a top 3 meal from a two week vacation in Ireland. The mussels are the best we had on our entire vacation and one of the best I have ever had, tomato soup was also killer. Very long whiskey list, attentive and friendly service, calm but cool atmosphere. Will 100% make a point to return here next time I am in Kilkenny!
Sean M — Google review
Our hotel recommended this place for dinner, I am so grateful they did. It was a pleasure to dine here and enjoy local beer along cocktails and a whiskey tasting. The amount of whiskey and gin they have is mind blowing. The waitress was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. From the main course to the dessert, it was very good. My duck was cooked perfectly and the coffee creme brulé was a perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Emily B — Google review
Walked in with our son to have a drink and for husband to do whiskey tasting. What an absolutely amazing place! An outstanding amount and variety of scotches/whiskeys. Lots of different beers on tap. Many unique cocktails. Also a gin bar in same place! HIGHLY recommend. Beautifully decorated and stylish atmosphere.
Jessica T — Google review
This bar features one of the finest whisky libraries I've encountered, not just in Europe, but globally. Their selection is impressive, ranging from core offerings to rare, vintage collections. The food service is excellent as well—I tried the burger sliders with fries and thoroughly enjoyed them. However, we definitely missed having a whisky expert on hand, which would have elevated the experience to a whole new level, providing personalized recommendations and engaging conversations about Irish whiskies and more.
Vishal K — Google review
This is one of the best equipped bars that I have ever seen, with many bottles of Irish, Scottish, American, Japanese on the shelf, even us Whiskey novice can't resist. We ordered 2 Whiskey flight and a charcuterie board, with Crozier Blue, Smoked Gubbeen, Goat's cheese and a selection of top-quality Irish meats, clearly this is not just a whiskey bar. Although we are Whiskey novice, but we certainly enjoyed our Whiskey flight, smooth and very reasonably priced.  They clearly know how to showcase the best of Irish food and drinks, if you ever have a chance to visit Killarney, this is one bar you should not miss.

Excellent whisk(e)y selection. Loved the tasting flights. Food looked really nice. Only had some dirty fries since we had other plans for dinner, but fries were great. Very friendly and knowledgeable service.

Restaurant
Murphy Brownes is a charming restaurant located on High Street in Killarney, close to popular pubs. The staff is efficient and the atmosphere is friendly. The menu offers a selection of classic dishes, including wings, duck spring rolls, Atlantic seafood chowder, steaks sourced from a nearby butcher, pan-fried sea bass, fish n' chips, and a vegan burger with curried mayo and sweet potato fries. The restaurant also participates in local events to give back to the community.
Good, hearty food, with great service and good atmosphere (if a touch dark inside). We had the spring rolls to start, followed by a burger and the lamb shank - the lamb is their signature meal, and was excellent (probably the best lamb my partner has ever had). Recommend
Harry O — Google review
Great restaurant in the middle of town… service was great and the food was delicious and served hot! Basic wine list but had a good selection. Nice atmosphere if you’re looking for something a little quieter than the pub scene.
Raelene R — Google review
18:35 PM Monday and we got sat immediately (upstairs). The crowd here is not too loud but not too quiet either. We started our meal with the goat cheese tartlet which I highly recommend whether you like goat cheese or not. It's fantastic. I ordered a bottle of Spanish Crianza which went perfectly with the goat cheese and was recommended by our server, which BTW was excellent. Fast and to the point but not rushed. We then had the Hake with lentils which was cooked perfectly, and the 8oz burger. The burger is sourced locally and it shows, as it was absolutely fantastic. And the fries came with ketchup on the side; perfection. The Hake was perfectly cooked and softly fell apart as I pulled it with my fork. The lentils were fantastic and so were the potato wedges. I would highly recommend this place! You can't go wrong
Bernardo S — Google review
Lovely restaurant in city center. Scrumptious food and impeccable service. I enjoyed everything I ordered for dinner. My duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender. My cole slaw was creamy and yummy. Definitely one of the best meals on my trip.
Ed F — Google review
Lovely and hearty meal last night. Great service in a quiet but lively atmosphere. The waitress recommended the lamb shank above all else and she was right…tender, almost melted off the bone…delicious. Split the chocolate and coconut torte with my wife and it was just the right amount for two. If we lived in town, we’d be regulars here.
Jordan C — Google review
We made a reservation as getting a dinner place in town can be difficult, and the fillet steak and lamb shank were both very good, as was the service we received from the time we walked into the restaurant. If you’re looking for quality meat dishes and a less busy atmosphere I can definitely recommend this restaurant.
Richard B — Google review
Visiting Killarney, Ireland, I wanted to try the local lamb shank and found it on the menu at Murphy Brownes. My wife was unsure of what she wanted and changed her order after her original choice was already sent to the kitchen. The owner was extremely gracious and kind-hearted in allowing her to change her order. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. I recommend the lamb shank! My wife had the ribeye with garlic butter and was quite pleased. This is a great place with great and caring people! The gentleman in the picture is Murphy, the owner who took great care of us.
Tim D — Google review
I ate slow roast duck with red cabbage and mash potatoes. The duck was delicious with crispy skin and went really well with potatoes, red cabbage and red wine thyme jus. The portion was exactly right making me satisfied. I recommend this restaurant and want to come back to try their other dishes.

Takeout Restaurant
Khao Asian Street Food is a standout restaurant in Killarney, offering a fresh and vibrant Thai menu along with other beloved Asian dishes. The interior is modestly decorated with neutral colors and minimalist furnishings, creating a cozy ambiance. If you're looking for a break from traditional Irish cuisine, Khao provides an excellent alternative with its bright and flavorful offerings. In addition to its delectable food, Killarney boasts numerous pubs and restaurants where visitors can enjoy fantastic meals amidst the lively atmosphere.
We had dinner here last week while in Killarney. The restaurant is cosy and the staff are very friendly. I am not overly familiar with many dishes on the menu but the waiter recommended a delicious pad thai. The menu is a little odd in that there are mains and sides rather then starters and mains. I highly recommend and would return.
Phillip O — Google review
We wanted to try Thai food and walked into this establishment in Killarney. The smells and flavors were very enticing upon entry. However, we were really disappointed with the fishy taste in all the dishes inspite of our earlier request to be meat/fish free. So we sent it back
Atul T — Google review
Coming from California and not having been to Thailand, the pineapple fried rice tasted pretty similar to what I’ve had back home, just saltier. The pad Thai was okay. It was sweeter and saltier than what I’m used to. The service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Worth a visit if you can grab a table since it does get busy.
Tony Y — Google review
This is a really impressive small restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and a chilled vibe. The seating is secluded and really comfortable too and although it's old style, it's very clean. The staff are very well trained and so friendly and attentive. The food is gorgeous at a simply incredible price. They also have a free scoop ice-cream when you're finished your food which is a lovely touch. I really liked this place and will visit again.
J C — Google review
We visited for dinner last night and had a feast! We liked almost everything we tried, but there were some standouts for sure too. Highly recommend eating here. Service was good overall. I didn’t catch her name but our server was this lovely young lady with blonde hair. The only negative thing about the meal was seeing our server be spoken to in an unprofessional manner from a couple of the other girls working there. At one point there was also some confusion about what my aunt ordered, and one of these same women was very impatient with her and even rolled her eyes. Apart from these negative interactions it was a great experience.
Gurv — Google review
In search of a bit of spice and comfort, decided on Khao’s sweet & sour chicken and beef soup. The soup was warm and full of spice and flavor. Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices are fair. Overall good experience and good food. #killarney #asian #chicken
Leigh H — Google review
Absolutely fabulous, I've just had the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, everything we tried was delicious, even the homemade ice cream tasted amazing, very friendly staff, if I could give this restaurant 10 stars - I would!!! 100% we'll recommended.
Keitho — Google review
A wonderful café celebrating its tenth anniversary! I really enjoy the variety of Asian food and the option to choose vegan dishes made to your own taste and needs. The food is always delicious, and the service is very fast. I especially like the seating area on the second floor — it would be great if it were open for visitors more often. Sometimes the dishes can be quite spicy on certain days, so it would be helpful if staff could mention that in advance for those who prefer milder flavours. Other than that, everything is perfect — great service, décor, and food. We visit this place often, and I wish the team continued success and growth!

Restaurant
J.M. Reidy's, established in 2017, has quickly become a staple of Killarney's nightlife scene. Housed in a historic building that dates back to the 1870s, this pub retains its old-fashioned charm while offering modern amenities. The venue features a series of beautifully presented bars with cozy spaces, atmospheric booths, original snugs, and an award-winning outdoor area.
This place had something for everyone. There was American rock up front, Irish music in the back, and a DJ in the middle. The drinks and staff were great and the ambiance was once of a kind. We will be back again.
Crystal K — Google review
My wife and I truly enjoyed the two nights we visited J.M. Reidy’s enjoying pizza, pints, and meeting people from all over. Their pub is international known for its never ending inside and out mixed with good times. Highly recommended!
Chris C — Google review
Great place. It’s very large and there are many choices in where to sit, party size is not a problem at all. There are some lovely snugs located all over the entire place both inside and outside. Smoking snugs are outside also. There are plenty of bar locations all over the place. The Bon Bon snugs in the front is original to the building. They have live music on a regular basis, TVs for viewing many games. Staff is great and the atmosphere is what you make it by where you want to be. The seating out front is nice for a drink. Great place to come and just hang out. Food is good, well portioned and good prices. I had asked about a tour of the location and one of the managers gave us a tour. He told us of the history of the place. How it started and what it used to be. Some of the snugs were at one point horse stalls. Original floor is still in the back and the original bar is still in the front.

If you find yourself in Killarney, this place is a must visit. Full of quirky little corners and nooks. A great place for a coffee and a snack. Truly the best sweet scone I've ever had (raspberry white chocolate with homemade strawberry jam) and a smooth matcha as well. My friend had a sausage roll and it had a beautiful flaky pastry with a lovely sweet and savoury filling. I recommend!

We spent two evenings in this divine authentic Irish Pub. And all I can say is: you can't get much closer to perfection: ☘️ Extremely friendly and attentive staff ☘️ Live music every night of finest quality ☘️ Guinness as fresh & creamy as it gets ☘️ A decorative masterpiece with attention to fine details ☘️ A LOT of space with many different areas suiting all noice & energy levels. The walk all the way back takes almost as long as the hike up Caurrantooahill. All in all, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(+⭐)

We enjoyed our meal and the service was good. We had to wait a bit for our food but it got busy all at once. We had no problems with waiting. Lots of neat nooks and crannies to sit at in the restaurant. Very eclectic and charming. I without recommend eating here if you're in town.

Irish restaurant
Bricín Restaurant and Boxty House is a charming eatery located on Killarney's High Street, owned by brothers Johnny and Paddy McGuire. The restaurant boasts a tasteful decor with natural stone walls, antique timber, stained glass, and artworks. It offers a fusion of Celtic imagination and traditional Irish cuisine, serving signature dishes like the Killarney boxty - an Irish potato pancake with various fillings.
Called in last minute and was so happy we got a reservation. This local hot spot is run by brothers Johnny & Paddy McGuire, and you can tell they pour themselves into every detail! Once we arrived we were greeted by Johnny in the darling shop on the 1st floor and taken to our table. At the end of the meal, we were able to meet Paddy and it was so fun to discuss the dishes! It's such a unique place with lot's of cozy spaces, so it feels like a more intimate dining experience, whether there's 2 or 12 in your group. It's a really interesting menu; you'd probably have to eat here a dozen times to taste everything. I went with the tasting menu ($46) and chose the Chicken Ceaser Salad, Pan fried Hake with sautéed veg & colcannon (local mashed potato dish with fresh cabbage), and Creme Brulee for dessert. I also had a nice glass of red wine to accompany it all. My husband had the Scallops ($36) with sun-dried tomato sauce, which came with a generous portion of sautéed veg (mushrooms, onions, carrots) and some garlicky potatoes. Everything tasted very fresh! Some tasting notes: chicken on the Ceaser salad was well seasoned. Hake had a great sear, but still tender inside. Pickled fennel alongside was really great and brightened everything up. Scallops were perfectly cooked, firm outside, buttery interior, surprisingly filling. Sun-dried tomato sauce was a bit understated, and as a fan, lacked some of the flavor we were hoping for. Sides were nicely seasoned. Lastly, the creme brulee *blissful sigh*, perfectly creamy, crispy sugared top served with a lovely ginger rhubarb jam dollop which balanced the sweetness of the dish, and added a new twist for me that I really enjoyed. Overall, we had a great meal, and you should definitely stop in if you get the chance. Sláinte!

We visited Bricin last night and had an amazing dining experience. The service was amazing, and Noreen is truly the best server we have had in this trip. The food was all delicious, and I highly recommend the steak and boxty!
Gurv — Google review
A little gem of a restaurant upstairs a lovely, tasteful gift shop. Great food and great service! Noreen was a superstar, always smiling and working her socks off with fantastic service but managed to make us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The boxty with ratatouille was excellent, although all of the food looked good from the plates being taken through the restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation but only waited 15minutes on a busy Wednesday night. Plus the suave Johnny running the busy door while remaining the perfect host. Thanks for a great night. I highly recommend this place.
Matt G — Google review
A must visit in Killarney! Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Incredible food, locally sourced. The beef was melt-in-mouth tender and full of flavour. It’s a large restaurant and it does get quite noisy which is why I rated lower on atmosphere. It was difficult to hear each other on the table.
Bee K — Google review
I just wanted to try Irish Boxty, heard Bricin is best in town & I am not disappointed! I chosen lamb curry filling it’s delicious and not spicy. Loved it! While waiting for my order, the lady server was very thoughtful to have brought me a Killarney photo book knowing I am dining alone, nice touch! P/S: I was lucky to get a table as I walked in at 6pm sharp, when I left there were few people waiting in line but table turn fairly quickly.

Made a reservation to eat here with our 5 year old. Located above a beautiful little shop. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere, decoration - all very comfortable and warm. Menu had lots of options, including a "table d'hote" for early seating. Also a great kid's menu. Everything was delicious. Fried Camembert very cheesy, chowder great, chicken curry creamy and delicious, vege boxty very original and tasty! Our son enjoyed his chicken goujons with mashed potatoes very much. HIGHLY recommend.

The Laurels Pub & Restaurant is a charming and traditional establishment located in the heart of Killarney town. Run by the O'Leary family, it offers a cozy and warm atmosphere with its dimly lit interior. The pub features a changing menu of comfort food, including signature dishes like the Killarney boxty and various fish options. With both pub-like and restaurant settings available, visitors can enjoy their meal in a setting that suits their preference.
We went here while on vacation from the US. We were the only non locals when we walked in, however the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The Shepard's pie was fantastic. My daughter had the celery and potato soup and it was absolutely delicious. The Beamish on tap was fantastic. The food and service were terrific but more than that the staff was so welcoming and attentive that they made us feel right at home. Wonderful pub that I will definitely make it back to when we are back in town

Came here for lunch and had a very lovely time! Nice atmosphere, service good. Menu had good options and was pretty good. Brie cheese bites were good - very cheesy. Chicken curry was tasty but a bit watery. Kid's menu as well - pizza sauce was a bit sweet but my son liked it. Overall I would recommend - lots on the menu to try.

Both the food and the service were fantastic. Our server was very helpful and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered the traditional Irish stew and the lamb shank, and both exceeded our expectations. The Irish stew was incredibly flavorful. The meat and vegetables were perfectly tender, and the soup was rich without being greasy. It was the perfect, comforting meal for this gloomy, rainy day. The lamb shank was also outstanding. It was fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. It was honestly the best lamb shank we've ever had. Portions are generous. We highly recommend this place!

Nice pub in the center of Killarney. We had a hungry party of six that arrived near the end of an important soccer match but they were able to squeeze us in and get us fed. Great service, good food, sports on the TV, and good drinks.

Pizza restaurant
Milano is a stylish dining room offering a large pizza menu and other Italian dishes. The restaurant is committed to reducing food waste by offering affordable Too Good To Go baskets containing delicious and fresh food items. With a modern, classy environment, Milano is known for its authentic Italian pizza, Italian drinks, and delicate desserts. The restaurant also offers a dedicated vegan menu with a unique and charming atmosphere and friendly service.
Food - Milano is one of our favorite pizza joints. Not only have we been to the Killarney location, but we also have visited Dublin locations. The food draws us back each time. We ordered the 3 courses for $30 along with trying out the Parmentier Potatoes. Started with the Dough Balls Al Forno, which was a nice start. We shared the La Reine, which was a great combination. Finally, we split the Biscoff Billionaire Sunday, which was prepared fresh. Not overly sweet, just right. Restaurant - The decor and soft lighting really make this place seem inviting and modern. Seeing the exposed kitchen is a nice touch I feel. Restrooms are plentiful and clean. The tables and floor were clean, there was no garbage on the floor, and tables didn't have residue. The only downside to this visit was another guest, maybe someone who knew one of the staff. Kids were running amuck, clanging silverware on plates, and the adult male was not helping helping at all. The staff seemed to take care of the kids more than he did, stepping out for a smoke and a drink. Kids were following staff around. Restaurant was quiet and peaceful until then. Service - Top notch here. Our waitress was chatty with our group, very professional and polite. She was attentive and regularly checked on us. She was a fantastic host / waitress. She even stepped in and helped with the kids to try and calm them down a bit while the adult male was ... useless. Many kudos to her as she was running her tail off. Overall - This one rough visit does not overshadow the 4 other visits we have had to Milano over the last couple years. We plan on visiting again, and hopefully will take advantage of the 3 for $30 again. Great deal, check it out.

On a busy evening with hungary kids we were looked after, lovely host who was so friendly and jolly which rubbed off on the staff who were equally lovely. Food was great and the gluten free options were excellent. Top marks and we will definitely call back if we are in Killarney again.
James B — Google review
So many gluten free options! Most things on their menu they said they could make gluten free. The gluten free pizza base was okay. Not my favorite, but not bad. Very thin and slightly undercooked. The staff were very sweet, but they were understaffed and the poor things were running all over the place on a Saturday night.
Alecia P — Google review
I brought my 13 year old and her 3 friends here for a birthday treat and it was a lovely experience. The kids meal is such great value and the presentation is really good- it makes the meal feel like a special occassion! And service was really good too.
Bernice D — Google review
3.5 Star- Nice flavor pizza ( margarita and goat cheese) and finally had a nice super salad. Extremely thin pizza so gets cold in 5 min and have to eat fast to enjoy. Good ambiance. Service was reasonable. Expensive food for what you get so not the best value.
Mukesh B — Google review
This Milano is quite nice. Service is okay and the staff is really polite. There is lots of indoor seating space and some outdoor seating too. They have a range of wines, beers and soft drinks on the menu. They have loads of pizzas, pastas, salads, sides and starters. I do like the loaded pesto dough balls. They are truly the highlight!
Sanghamitra C — Google review
They have their menu online. After scanning the QR code I had to share my location with the website, then I had accept all the cookies (and many other things with one click), then I had to give my name, email and phone number. Just to see the menu! After all, it didn't work. The waiter was nice and we tried to make that work with his details, but didn't work that way either. Then we got a tablet. The food was good, but definitely overpriced. Portions should be bigger (hence the price). I personally didn't like the dessert and I didn't take a picture of that. Staff members were nice and helpful. But the atmosphere was cold as ice.
Mr G — Google review
The food here was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. We were disappointed with the service, it was very slow but the waitress was so nice and friendly! They only had 1 cook and 1 waitress for the whole restaurant and they were packed which explains why they were slow. We were also disappointed with how small the appetizer was, it was good though. However we loved the fact you could see the kitchen and all the food that was being made. Although the food was delicious it was fairly expensive, it was €75 for 4 adults.

If you're looking for delicious Western-style food, Rob's ranch house is definitely worth checking out. The menu has been adapted to be vegan and vegetarian friendly, so you can enjoy everything from chicken burgers to steakburgers. Plus, the staff are always courteous and attentive - making it a great place to eat no matter what your dietary requirements.
Perfect example of everything a restaurant should be. Lots of options, friendly staff, amazing decor and atmosphere. I enjoyed gluten free options which were availible and i could not believe how good they were. Definitely would come here if i visited again

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The burgers, fries, and soft drinks were excellent, fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, the milkshake was a bit disappointing, lacking the richness I expected. The ambiance is definitely a highlight! The decor is unique and makes the place stand out, creating a fun and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service tends to be slow, especially when the restaurant is busy. It seems like there’s a lack of organization in managing the staff, which affects the overall experience. If they improve the service efficiency, this place could easily be a 5-star spot!
Guilherme S — Google review
Was hungry for a big juicy hamburger. We asked around and Rob‘s ranch was highly recommended. Here’s a picture to show you how great their burgers are. This is a Buffalo Bill with sweet potato fries. Great service great food give it a try.
Steve M — Google review
Didn't blow my taste buds for 24 euros you get ribs which taste same as you can get in shop and cook yourself just double portion no garnish no any extras just chips like on picture . Good coleslaw would be good companion with it. Vibes in restaurant good but food need more attention in my opinion.
Lukasz M — Google review
Excellent service; we asked the waitress to please try to be quick with our food as we had a train in less than 1h, food came out in 15min (we got our train!). She also warned me that sweet potato fries weren't vegan because they fry in the same oil as meat, which in many places they wouldn't bother to tell you. A lot of vegan options, but also gluten free. Food was good. Decent portions and fair prices.

This restaurant was the best experience about food in Killarney, the waiters very friendly, the food was unreal, the decoration was amazing and the music so good. 5 starts experience.

FANTASTIC!! The Guinness Stew and the Fish and Chips were the best we have had in all of Ireland. Service was outstanding, strong recommend - SO good!!!

Cocktail bar
Hilliard's Killarney is a must-visit dining spot in Killarney, Ireland. The restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with live piano music, an impressive selection of cocktails and whiskey, and delectable food. Visitors rave about the Hilliards Beef Burger, local blonde ale, curry, and Bloody Mary. The attentive staff adds to the fantastic experience. Guests highly recommend this place for its amazing food and superb cocktails with beautiful presentation.
I booked Hilliards for a hen party of 24 on Saturday evening, and it was a fantastic choice! Madga and Ciara were wonderful to deal with beforehand, helping us decide on the food options and arranging a welcome cocktail for the guests. The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch throughout the night. We initially tried to book Reidys, the go-to spot in Killarney, but it was fully booked and they recommended Hilliards instead. I'm so glad it worked out this way, as Hilliards felt much less cramped and had a more upscale vibe!

Just wow! What a fantastic restaurant, the vibe was amazing, the staff were extremely polite and attentive and it was very clean and tidy. As for the food, absolutely incredible. The flavours were amazing and it is extremely good value for money. Could recommend this place highly enough.

The meatballs are great!! The mussels were not great - small, although the sauce was good. The cauliflower was delicious, the prawns were v spicy. We went for the Chablis - slightly pricey given the quality. Cocktails are very good. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Good for a bite before a fun night out!
Fiona G — Google review
Absolutely delicious dinner and cocktails here. For a group of four, we ordered 7 small plates to share among us, and it was just the right amount of food. The service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. The price is really quite reasonable for the quality of food.
Maddy E — Google review
It's a bit pricey but we enjoyed our meal. Our entrees included the tomato and mozzarella salad with chicken, 2 8 oz grilled steaks, Shepherd's Pie, and vegan risotto. For dessert we had 1 smore and 2 strawberry trifles. We wish we had ordered 2 smores and 1 trifle.
K M — Google review
The homemade gnocchi was fluffy and the sauce was superb! The cocktails were well crafted. The prawns and ribs were finger licking YUM! Our waitress was fast and friendly! Would highly recommend!
Elizabeth B — Google review
Pretty much the worse burger i’ve ever had in my life. 26 euros for a cheeseburger with bacon and fries on the side. It included like a pesto sauce that i didn’t like either. The burger was dry, overcooked and noticeable scarcity in cheese and bacon for the price. The bun is regular instead of offering a brioche one. Terrible experience. We ordered chicken tenders for starters which were actually pretty nice though, but the burger did not live up to expectations at all.
Haure Z — Google review
Best steak I've had in a long time! We had a family meal for 10 with 2 kids under 4 and we had a brilliant time. Good cocktails and non alcoholic options. Everyone enjoyed their meal and desserts were very nice. Starters are a good size too. Would highly recommend this place for someone looking for a very high quality food with a relaxed environment.

Such amazing drinks and a great vibe here! One of the coolest bars I have been to in Ireland. We sat at the whiskey bar in the back right corner, great music and nice atmosphere for a chat! Wonderful cocktail menu and options of whiskey for flights. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
Bella B — Google review
Amazing, innovative cocktails. Lovely chill atmosphere of a cosmopolitan bar that I didn't expect to find this far in Kerry. Live music on a Friday night started at 9:30pm. Whiskey room (hidden) in the back is a treat with 450+ whiskeys available on the menu, some rare treats there. Absolutely will go back, this place is a true gem!

We popped in to Pigs Lane for a bit on both nights of our stay in Killarney. We hadn't read the reviews, so didn't know that it's well known for cocktails. We just had beers and wine. There was no wait for a really good table in front of the artist. It's a cozy little spot with great acoustics, maybe 12 or so tables all with good views of the stage. We thoroughly enjoyed the music and had a fantastic time.
Tia P — Google review
Outstanding whisk(e)y experience, the best in Killarney. I ordered two great flights and an outstanding Lough Ree single malt. The highlight, by a country mile, was chatting with Bart. Bartlomiej is an incredible barman and knows virtually everything about whiskey. Thank you for the great recommendations. Definitely a highlight of my Ireland experience and forward to returning.

We had such an amazing time!!!!! The drinks were original and incredible. This is NOT the place to just order a beer! Try something unique! The service was fantastic. Karolina and crew were so welcoming and took great care of us! The food was FRESH and delicious! The entertainment was absolutely awesome!! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. Check it out!!! FIVE ❤️s!!

The small plates are not very small, and might be made with Magic. The Toastie really was THE.BEST. The drinks are so delicious that you might drink them too fast. (I did.) BEAUTIFUL establishment, super friendly, competent, and lovely staff. The cocktail list — no misses, ALL hits. I tried to sample the whole list, but might need a few more evenings to get through it. I’m no quitter. :) Arrived around 19:30, still here at 22:00. Might not leave. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Shannan B — Google review
What a great place! Cocktails are amazingly fresh, balanced, and well thought out. Service was 10/10. Katrina, Nadia, and Scott are AMAZING. GIVE THEM A RAISE. Abiance is immersive without bring pretentious and cheese.

Cocktails here were unique and tasted amazing! The vibes were cozy yet upbeat, with the dim lighting and live music. I wouldn't expect to mingle here, but worth coming for drinks!
