The food was lovely. I have no complaints about that. But one thing did leave a bad taste, the steak sandwich was small on the lunch menu and vastly overpriced at €18 for the size. For €18 it needs to include the chips and a small side salad. I thought the honey glazed carrots were fine at €4. But the dauphinoise were expensive at €12 for the side. Knocking a few € off cocktail prices and desserts wouldn't be a bad thing either. I can totally understand why the restaurant was pretty empty at lunchtime. The staff were good. But I can't see us ever going here again on trips to Limerick until the business gets back in the real world with pricing.

Came here with a large group. Food was decent but pricey. Staff were unusual - requested we gather plates which were in reach and one raised their voice at a guest, which quietened our table and surrounding tables. I understand the challenges of service, but this felt off. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Fabulous food and drinks menu. Ribeye Steak was cooked to perfection. Pepper sauce was sublime. A real treat . Wine selection was excellent. Staff were attentive and very friendly.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner and it was very lovely. The staff were friendly and nice although we had a couple of different waiters which caused confusion at times regarding orders. Since I had gone here before I wanted to try small bites like the mini lobster rolls, the burrata and a side of truffle mac and cheese. All of the food was tasty, even though I did not get a main, i found everything to be filling. I had to ask for bread with the burrata, when I read "pan tomato" I assumed it came with it. It was creamy so it went perfectly with bread. The lobster rolls would be an appetiser for most people but given the rich flavours, I thought the portion was good. Mac and cheese was great but some people might find the aroma of truffle a bit different. The taste was light and really good. Good portion for a side. The night was very enjoyable but I noticed my boyfriend looking around as if he was waiting for something throughout the meal. It turned out, he had sent in a request to the restaurant for my birthday to do something and he would pay for anything they did extra. There were a good few birthday cakes the staff brought out for other diners whilst singing but I never got one. I didn't know until we had left that he included that request but I suppose it was a little disappointing they didn't read what he had sent in the booking.

What an excellent dining experience right in the heart of Limerick’s city center. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of lively and welcoming. The Confit Duck Leg was cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and absolutely to die for. I also loved the Honeysuckle cocktail, a great choice for vodka lovers who enjoy something sweet yet refreshing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all my questions, making an American feel right at home. Highly recommend Cornstore for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Limerick!

Was in the Cornstore in Limerick recently and honest to God, it was top class from start to finish. The place has a lovely buzz about it, proper nice décor, and the staff are absolute legends—so sound and on the ball without being in your face. Now the food… different gravy. The prawn pil pil was savage—sizzling in garlic and chilli oil, full of flavour, and the bread for dipping was the job. Then we got the mussels in garlic sauce and they were melt-in-the-mouth good—fresh as anything, swimming in this rich, garlicky broth you'd nearly drink with a spoon! Steak was cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were spot on too—real tasty without being all sugar and no kick. For the quality of the grub and the whole experience, the prices are a bit dear but you know you’re in a proper place that takes pride in what they’re doing. If you’re knocking about Limerick and fancy a decent feed in a lovely spot, Cornstore’s where it’s at. And don’t leave without trying that pil pil or the mussels—they’re magic.

Our first trip to Limerick and we booked this early for a Friday evening. The service was great, the food excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. We had salmon and bream beautifully cooked, fresh ingredients and wonderful flavours. It was so good that we booked again for later the next evening. Restaurant much busier and yet there was still great service and good food served promptly. A good selection of wines and cocktails. Overall the place has a warm, friendly atmosphere with a mix of families, friends and couples. Most importantly we could see how hard the kitchen and serving staff worked to deliver great food efficiently and with genuine hospitality. Worth every cent.

We booked a team dinner here based on strong recommendations and had colleagues visiting from the U.S., so expectations were high. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The room we were seated in was extremely warm—so much so that we ended up using our dessert menus as fans just to stay comfortable. At this price point (we spent nearly €400), I would have expected a better dining environment. On the food side, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Most dishes were good—the fish, in particular, was excellent and I’d recommend it. However, the burger was disappointing. When I went to take a bite, something (possibly the bacon) didn’t sit right. Thankfully, our server was very professional and helpful—she provided great service and kindly removed the burger from the bill without hesitation. Overall, the experience was just okay. Given the price, I’d be hesitant to return, but credit where it’s due: the service was warm and attentive, and the fish was a standout.

The plus side of Curragower: it has a wonderful view of the Shannon and King John's Castle across the river, especially if you choose outside seating. The place was so buy when we ate there that we didn't have that option. The down side: it's a bit touristy and the quality of its food is uneven. My seafood chowder was okay, but just yesterday in Limerick, I had a bowl of seafood chowder that was superior to what Curragower offers. Its bowl is generous with seafood, but the sauce is thick as if flour has been added to it. My dining companion was disappointed that his seafood pie was far more potato than seafood. The food is well-plated and attractive, however. Service is quick and efficient, and the surroundings are very pleasant. So take your pick, plus or minus: nice surroundings, good service, great view, but food that can vary in quality.

It's a fabulous place to sure outside and enjoy and great view. Make sure you make reservations as they do book up very quickly. We had great seats outdoors and ordered wine and beer. We ordered their fish and chips, seabreem and mackerel. We got a side order of salad as well. The food was very good. The chips with the fried fish were especially good! We ended with their sticky toffee pudding which was good but I think the pecans took away from the traditional flavor but I did enjoy the crunch. Overall it was a very good experience.

Lovely atmosphere. Reservations required and we got the glass house. Hostess wasn’t there when we arrived but seated us once she got there. Food was alright. Fish was bug portion but soggy in middle (frozen / not cooked long enough?) — pity as the parts not soggy were lovely. Prawns were a little rubbery yet shell not crispy (grill not hot enough?) & the 3 sauces lacked flavour. Chips were delicious (both thin & double cooked).

Just had dinner at The Curragower and would highly recommend. The food was absolutely amazing, the cozy fall decorations were wonderful, and the views from the glass room overlooked the River Shannon and King John's Castle. What more could you ask for.

We stumbled upon this place after walking from King John’s castle. We wanted seafood and they delivered. We ordered the mussels, calamari, seabream and a side of Caesar. The seabream was nicely seasoned with a crispy edge and it came with risotto, a giant prawn and caviar. My son ate most of the mussels and calamari so I think that means it was great. We finished with Eton Mess — a meringue dessert.

Had an amazing meal at The Curragower Bar and Kitchen — this place seriously hits the spot. It's right by the river with views of King John's Castle (major bonus), and the vibe is just chill and welcoming. The food? Unreal. Tried a few vegetarian options and was genuinely impressed. The Eden Burger is packed with flavour, the risotto is creamy and comforting, and the summer salad is super fresh and zingy — perfect on a warm day. And don’t even get me started on the sticky toffee pudding... rich, gooey, and absolutely lip-smacking. You need to save room for it. Parking can be a little hit or miss since it’s close to the city centre — give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot, especially during busy times. All in all, great food, lovely staff, and one of the nicest spots in Limerick to kick back with a pint or a proper meal. Highly recommend!

Went to off the bone for the first time last night and annoyed we left it so long to try. Food, atmosphere and staff were amazing! Our server Andrea recommended the scotch egg, first time trying and I highly recommend everyone to try. Both steaks were cooked to perfection with a lovely charcoal taste. Again Andrea recommended a beautiful red wine to match. No room left for desert but there was a lovely selection and some nice cocktails on the menu. Music started around 9pm and it finished off a lovely evening, really enjoyed our night and we will definitely be back again soon.

Burger was perfectly cooked to temp, as was the steak. Fries were great. Absolutely no complaints at all.

Best part of the hotel was the restaurant. The staff was super friendly and the food was pretty good.

Haven’t been here in a while and not be back in the distant future. Mistakes happen and when you request no mayo on something, from time to time the kitchen misses the request. What’s completely unacceptable is when you send it back and it comes back with the mayo scraped off (and some still visible). Sending it back twice is a joke. Out of the three other meals - the chicken wings came with the wrong sauce, the veg for the roast beef was cold and the fish pie was overcooked. The manager was nice about applying discounts after I had to ask for them but this quality was ridiculous. It wasn’t the fault of the front of house staff either, I saw the order screen and everything was perfect.

We had our daughter's christening yesterday and we cannot thank everyone enough - Marta for taking my booking and arranging the event with us and Aundrea and Catherine and the rest of the team who looked after us on the day (also Shannon who took the cake from us the night before). We were shocked when we walked in and saw how much the team had decorated the side room for our meal. The tables looked beautiful with flowers, white table cloths and everything was set up for us. All we had done oursleves was drop in the balloons and cake earlier on. The menu was laid out without us having to decide on dishes which was great and everyone loved the food. Thanks for looking after us. We had a ball.

The food here was too yummy and the quantity is decent enough. The chips that come along with the burger is coated with some spicy powder and it is very delicious. And I had the best ever hot chocolate of my life at this place. It was toooo good and a must try here. The location is easy to find and the place is very pleasant and peaceful. Now coqbull has become one of my go to places for lunch and it is not too expensive.

We had an all-round fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious everything was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. The staff were genuinely lovely: warm, friendly, and super attentive from the moment we arrived. The value for money was excellent generous portions at a really reasonable price, which made the whole experience even better. It’s also a great spot for group bookings! We had our staff party here, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The team made sure everything ran perfectly, and everyone left happy and well-fed. Highly recommend for both small meals and larger gatherings we’ll definitely be back!

I used to love eating here, but the quality has gone completely downhill. I gave it one last try today and ordered the Caesar wrap — big mistake. It was disgusting. The wrap was burnt, the chicken tasted off and clearly wasn’t fresh, and the only thing it had going for it was the overwhelming, foul taste of bad chicken. To make things worse, the chips were stone cold. It actually made me feel physically sick. I’ve since heard from others that the food standards here have seriously dropped — clearly, they were right. I won’t be coming back

Nice food, but I missed some seasoning. For example, the mash potatoes tasted just like potatoes, or even the Mac & Cheese, didn't feel a lot of flavors. Also, the coke wasn't cold, but they gave me a glass with ice and turn out a watery coke. The sirloin steak was amazing, also the chips! Overall, pretty good.

First of all the positives. We go to both the Coqbull in town and Castletroy regularly. The food is always really good. However the portion sizes have decreased significantly and it's no longer on my list of places to go as its no longer good value ( lunch deal aside ) I ordered boneless wings two weeks ago in town and actually handed them back and I never send food back. It actually looked like a starter portion and I'd to check it wasn't a mistake with the order. I called the manager and was told the portion is smaller as the wings were boneless. To be fair he did offer me something else which was decent of them and my girlfriends steak sandwich was excellent. Last night we got takeaway desert. 3 Strawberry Smashes. This seems to have replaced the Eton Mess which was outstanding although the strawberry smash is minus the meringue. The Eton Mess was served in a good sized plastic container and was topclass. Desert last night was in a small cardboard cup and was literally 1/3 the size of the previous one, while it was tasty I'm sorry but the portion size was scandalous you need to do better. To top it all off I gave €25 and should have got €1 back. The server gave me back €16 when I told him he needed to keep €15 of it i didn't even get as much as a thank you.

We went out to eat something this evening. I ordered a Nashville Chicken burger and fish and chips The chicken breast was prepared Indian-style. It was dried like a wood chip. Fish and chips. The fish was great, but the fries were only three-quarters cooked. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat it.I won’t be coming back

Went to the Tequila Rooms pop-up in Coqbull for dinner with some family and honestly I'd give this pop-up a miss and just go into the regular restaurant. The nibbles are overpriced, they are just a starter portion amount and nothing can justify €9 for a single taco.... The food is nice, boneless wings were delicious but a portion was only 5 boneless wings for €10.50. Service was great, can't fault them there but I just felt the Tequila Room pop-up was just overpriced.

Amazing quality of service. All the servers in this building are some of the most accommodating, sweetest and quick servers ive had the pleasure of being served by. Now to start on the food, these burgers were some of the juiciest, most tender burgers ive ever had. The nashville chicken burger was astonishingly good I would recommend, the chicken was juicy and fell apart in my mouth, the breading on the chicken was seasoned to perfection, the perfect amount of hot honey sauce that complimented the chicken incredibly well- not too sweet and not too hot, perfect. Sensational. Would come back again. The dragonfruit diva is a drink I would recommend to ALL of you reading this. This cocktail was absolutely beautiful AND refreshing and as someone with a peach allergy, they had zero problems accommodating that for me. This restaurant has the perfect portions for their desserts too. The dirty cookie is the best thing ive ever put in my mouth to explain it plainly. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and perfect. With beautiful music playing at the perfect volume to speak over. Will 10000000% be coming back.

Service was great, food is not what I’m used to from CoqBull. Got the 1/2 roast chicken option for €21, which came with a frankly tiny amount of potato and stuffing and nothing else. Would be much less of an affront to the wallet if they could even add a couple of vegetables or some more potato - as it is, feels like a complete rip off.

Visited for lunch yesterday around 3pm while in Limerick city. Food is above average, service is not. The 10 euro lunch menu is good value in the current climate. The food came out quickly and was tasty however the service we received was not. Our food arrived after around 10 minutes of waiting but our drinks did not. We were sitting outside and trying to catch the attention of waitress outside proved impossible. When we eventually got her attention she nonchalantly said our drinks were on the way and returned to avoiding as many tables with customers as she could. It appeared as though we were inconveniencing her by asking this. Our drinks eventually arrived after around 30 minutes as I was finishing my food with no apology on the delay. I then asked the waitress who brought the drinks for some mayo which arrived five minutes later as I had four chips left on my plate. Not ideal We were not asked once if everything was OK with the meal or if we needed anything throughout our visit. Again, as I went up to pay there was no ask of how everything was. Not usually one to post bad reviews but this is the poorest service I have received while eating out. The restaurant was also not busy while we visited so there really was no excuse for the extremely poor service we received. Would not recommend to a friend

Came here for my birthday meal and it was fantastic. Every single staff member was so lovely and welcoming. The food was all incredible, especially the spice bag spring rolls. Cocktails were great too! Could not recommend more

Bobby Byrne is a traditional Irish Pub the atmosphere reflects that.bwe went for appetizers and they did not disappoint. The prawns were fantastic and the calamari were very good too. The Irish Coffee was a perfect end for the dinner

As a foodie and a pub connoisseurs I would rate Bobby Byrnes as the finest Irish Style Gastropub in Ireland. The ambience, cleanliness, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes were generous I mean very generous, no half measures!!!. The food was delicious. The interior decorating fine details to the pub , the lighting, vibes , lads tis a show stellar. Thank you for the hospitality and nice service. Highly recommend!!!!

Popped in here for a quick mid-morning coffee and to check out the new café. It is a fine space and the staff are attentive BUT it is very expensive at €15.20 for 2 Americanos and 1 piece of cake. Prices are not shown at the counter. The decor is nice but there are TVs everywhere which spoil the café ambiance. Disappointed so very unlikely that we'll be back.

It's a good option if you're in Limerick and likes Rugby. The food was delish - had the beef roast (bottom) and the cod (top). Price is OK for the amount of food you get.

I have been to Bobby Byrnes couple of times and they have the best Irish food and cocktails ever. I especially like the After eight Cocktail and Pornstar Martini and Best ever fish and chips. They are pocket friendly and you will be satisfied after having the food. It's so yummy and delicious. Highly recommended place for people out there in Limerick. Do check out and try some cocktails.

Great spot. Had lovely food and the Guinness was excellent. Service very good. Bar staff don't leave you standing long. Very switched on. Lamb stew highly recommended and the slow cooked beef was delicious. Chicken wings are frozen breaded type. Not great.

The staff here are incredible, really made me feel welcome. Thank you again :) I visited to watch the Ireland v Portugal match and was quickly seated to have a good view. The place erupted when Kelleher saved Ronaldo's PK with his foot!! Josie's Stew and the recommended spicy whiskey was great, but the highlight was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. My thanks to the staff for the brilliant recommendation! No live music that night due to some car troubles but not the fault of the tavern.

They served classic Irish Food which tastes really good. Highly recommended their Guinness which very smooth and creamy. Reasonable price and portion, value for money. Friendly crews. Nice dining ambiance.

A nice classic Irish pub atmosphere with great service. They have a small but good selection of local craft beer and the food was excellent and the portions were huge. I highly recommend the bangers and mash, the slow cooked beef, the seafood chowder, and the Korean wings.

I visited for brunch on a late Tuesday morning. They weren’t very busy and the staff was very polished and friendly. I thought my server was a manager when she sat me because she was dressed so professionally. They have free WiFi and also brought a jug of water to the table. Their rose latte was yummy & delicately crafted. I would gladly return to try one of their other latte creations. For my entree, I went with “The SpitJack Classic:” honey-glazed ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce over sourdough bread. It was tasty but super filling! It was a struggle to finish the whole thing. I would gladly return to try one of their vegetarian brekkies or one of their sweet dishes.

This is a gem of a restaurant in Bedford Row Limerick, I have eaten in many of limerick city's restaurants and this has to be my favourite, the restaurant is lovely and bright, very clean and the seating in very comfortable, it's also nice to see a different type of menu than any other that is basically the same. the staff were very friendly, especially our waitress Kaylan who was great fun and had lots of chat for us, My wife and Kaylan clicked instantly. I had the roast chicken and my wife had The pulled chicken with puff pastry and the flavours didn't disappoint, I dont usually comment on wine even though I love wine, but I have to say their wine is top quality and not one of these supermarket wines with a twist top. I highly recommend trying Spit Jacks.

We had brunch here, and the divorced eggs were delicious. Both the food and the staff were good . Recommend! The only downside was that the orange juice was a bit overpriced (€4.20)

we loved everything we ordered. i wish the pork belly skin was crispier, but i like how flavourful it was. the roasted garlic mash was TO DIE FOR I’D EAT A WHOLE TUB OF IT. pistachio choux bun was too sweet for me but 10/10 recommend! chill atmosphere & wonderful service. would revisit to try other things on the menu

Beautiful location & entrance promises. However, seated downstairs in corner beside drinks storage. Not entirely what id imagined. Service solid. Had the classic, ham, eggs & hollandaise with bacon bits. It looked thrown tigetger tbh. Plenty of ham, but was bit dry & especially with bread it just sucked all the moisture from the meal. Bread wasnt buttered, maybe a rub of garlic..Eggs were solid, however hollandaise was limited & could've been bit more looser. Bscin bits tasty... all in all, Tasty enough, but balance all off. Would return though as other items looked good. Maybe just unfortunate...

3 out of 4 times I went here I was satisfied and delighted. Ambiance and food just leaves me wanting to go back again. I always get the pork belly but got a bad one once so consistency isn’t their strongest suit. Oh and have I mentioned their appetizers and desserts - don’t skip them! I recommend to get the full course.

The ambience was good and the staff were very friendly. They have good range of varieties and took 15 minutes to serve the food. Finding parking on peak hours is bit difficult as it is at the city centre. The food was delicious and the quantity is also good enough.

A perfect first pub experience in Ireland. They had all the classics on the menu and all of the food was amazing. Tried the seafood chowder, wings, lamb stew, and brown bread. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

Fantastic lively atmospheric pub in Limerick city. With great small intimate venues for bands and musicians. Well worth being on their newsletter as many interesting and famous artists appear here.

Dolan's is a must stop every time I'm in Limerick. The food is outstanding, especially the fish and chips. Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had. The seafood chowder is also incredibly good. Definitely in the top 5 I've had. The staff are very friendly and attentive, which for Ireland is saying something. I know it's the European norm to let patrons be, but I've found it incredibly hard to get a server's attention to order something more or get the check. This is not a problem at Dolan's.

Was here for a Wolf Alice concert and thought it was incredible (if a bit hot). Bar itself is nice too and they're always organising events

We did not have food, so I can rate it. The bartender was friendly. Met a very nice couple there from Toronto! Great conversation with them! The only reason I did not rate it higher, was that they were out of Baileys! (My wife's favorite liquor) The bartender said that he could not remember the bar ever being out of Baileys.

We had the most amazing two nights at Dolan's. We'd especially like to thank Brandon and Lisa for taking such good care of us, accommodating our off-the-menu requests, serving delicious Irish coffees and succulent rib-eye steaks, and reserving the best seats in the house for us so that we could warm ourselves in the glow of the fire and enjoy the performance of the musicians. This is a really special place, and we're already planning how we can get back to Limerick to pop in once again.

Had a beautiful brunch here this weekend, the staff are amazing, highly professional and attentive. Lovely modern floral decor, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend and I will certainly come here again.

What a great discovery in Limerick. If you're keen on a higher then usual standard in Ireland, this is a must. Kindly, friendly and efficient staff. We came in just for some drinks but we couldn't resist to try the salmon sandwich and the ice cream sundae. Amazing food and the Birra Moretti pint simply perfect. Great atmosphere (evening).

I visited this place and spoke with Damie, the manager. Even though there were many open tables, I was told they were all reserved. It’s very frustrating to see so much space available but not be able to sit down. When I asked about the waiting time, I was only told that it “depends,” without a clear answer. We were a group of nine, just looking to enjoy some drinks together, but it wasn’t possible. It would be great if the place could better accommodate groups who want to come, relax, and have a good time.

Had the best experience with customer service here last night. I mistakenly ordered from Milano Dooradoyle on Just-eat.ie. I then proceeded to turn up at their Harvey's Quay restaurant. The manager immediately offered to make me the same pizzas (for no additional charge; I had already paid online). Both her (I wish I'd gotten a name...) and the chefs went above and beyond to accommodate me, especially considering that this was the end of their shift and they were tidying up. This is what customer service is always about. I would 100% go back and give this place my business 🤌🍕✨️

I recently ordered buffalo wings from Milano, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The chicken had blackened patches and gave off an unpleasant, spoiled odor that made it inedible.

I was here for dessert and coffee. But the dessert... It was good, but too much sugar was used. The plate was also sprinkled with sugar. It was sweet. I dont need more sugar on the plate. Staff was friendly and kind. The atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurant looks modern and the price is higher.

Food was delicious, however the service was not ideal. Our server ( a man, not sure his name) came off as ignorant and too sarcastic. At first I thought he was making an attempt to be funny, but it soon become clear this was not the case. I hope to not have this experience again as the food was nice.

My fiance, her family and I visited the East Room at Plassey House for her graduation yesterday. The food the service and the ambiance were all first class. Goran and the rest of the front of house staff took care of us from the second we arrived and made our evening special. Would definitely recommend.

What an experience! The service from the maitre D was exceptional. He was very accommodating, very informative and very knowledgeable, not just with the menu, but about other countries and his experiences. The food was exquisite, the tastes were intense and full of flavour. The presentation and attention to detail was perfect. We were allowed to tour the building while waiting for our desserts. For me this is classed as a real treat to dine here as it is more expensive than other restaurants but well worth the experience. Can't wait to go back.

I can’t say enough good things about my dining experience here. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Mr. Vincenzo Del Santo, the manager, was so personable & always made sure us, & every table there, was doing well. His passion shines through him. I highly recommend dining here if given the chance. The building is beautiful & the service, plus the great food, makes for a magical experience.

It was my first time dining in this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. The portions were tiny but the food was incredible. The menu was unique and I have not tried anything like it before. I was really glad to go there. I recommend !

Celebrated a special occasion with a delicious and luxurious lunch. Will go back for dinner. Lunch exceeded our expectations with food quality, service and convenience. We made an online reservation the day before for 12:30 Sunday. Received confirmation immediately. Sunday was quiet at the University as they are shutting down next week for staff Annual Leave break. Vincenzo and Holly took care of us. Both were so warm and personable that we felt at ease and so relaxed in this historic setting. Pace was perfect. Menu changes daily but offered 3 choices for each course from vegetarian, fish and meat. This restaurant is a gem. Go early and you may be lucky like us to initially have the restaurant and staff to yourself.

We went to the East Room last night as a table of 6 for my wife’s birthday. The tasting menu was spot on from start to finish. Everything was presented beautifully, seasoned perfectly and portions were bang on for a tasting menu. Good value for the quality of food. Favourited were the potato dish w smoked eel, and celeriac sauce and cod w prawn ravioli. The building is amazing and a great alternative venue for a restaurant. Service was fantastic with Vincenzo being very friendly and professional. Thanks for accomodating my dad. My mother had never done a tasting menu and she loved it. Service was paced very well and very friendly which was great. We will back.

Just had a wonderful dining experience at the East Room. We were celebrating a graduation and decided to splurge on a fine meal. No better place to spoil a smart graduate. Picky GF diner was most happy with her options.

The musician was really talented, super nice atmosphere. We came for a nice breakfast and to hear some live music, which was recommended on the website of the city. But the offer of food was not what we expected, for sure some little stores but nothing to get fed up.

Lovely market for fruit, veg, bread and baked goods. Very heavy on the bread, coffee & pastries though. Was hoping for maybe more hot food options but was still very enjoyable in beautiful courtyard which is mostly covered. Also good for gifts like soaps, jams and honey. Worth a visit for sure!

Not much was doing at the Milk Market when we walked there on a rainy Friday noontime — though its website says that it opens at 11 A.M. on Friday. But we enjoyed strolling around, and had a very good cup of coffee and cinnamon roll at the Bread Shop, which is part of the market. The cinnamon roll was replete with cinnamon, as a good cinnamon roll should be, and the size was gargantuan. And as we sipped our coffee, a young woman with a group of friends sat down at the piano, and magic happened.

Visited on a Saturday morning. Great buzz of friendly chatter and bustle of buying and selling. Good prices, great smells ... and lots of small dogs on leads.

Super lovely, great people and community. Perfect place to buy quality food and support locals.

Had a great time at the Milk Market in Limerick. There’s such a great variety of stalls with amazing food, local produce, and lovely homemade products. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Limerick!

A lovely family orientated place for the whole family. You can buy hand crafted gifts from local artists, yummy pancakes at another store and relax with a nice cup of coffee whilst doing the shopping. There's a few little shops there so something for everyone.

What a shame and disappointment. Had not been for a year but previously has eaten at least 5 times the delicious Chicken Thai green curry. But today it was sloppy. Like an Irish version of Thai “carbonara”. Terrible. Even chips were undercooked. Such a shame. Original curry was so authentic. Today was a cream mush. Left June 25. Right pic May 24.

As an American visiting Ireland, this is a must spot for great food and atmosphere! We very much enjo yed the live music. The bouncer was so gracious to allow us to use his personal phone when we stayed too late and got locked out of the parking garage where our rental was parked. Above and beyond hospitality!

I have eaten here a few times during my visit to Limerick. The steak sandwich and brie salad were excellent! I also had the smaller Irish breakfast was very good and extremely filling. Stop in a enjoy the food and relaxed atmosphere.

I had such a great experience at this bar last night! The atmosphere was perfect, but what really made the night special was the bartender eadaoin . She was so friendly and attentive, always making sure everyone was taken care of. She really went above and beyond, and you could tell she genuinely cared about the customers. Definitely going back!

Rionagh was our server today for breakfast and the services was beyond our expectations. On top of that the food was amazing. I highly recommend the poached eggs with hollandaise sauce! If you are in Limerick City Center for sure stop by the Old Quarter… it doesn’t disappoint! Also remember to ask for Rionagh and her team for great service.

The pub atmosphere is super cozy and the decor is elegantly simple. Eadaain took great care of me and went so above to offer tips for where to have a good time in town. I felt super welcome & taken care of even as a total stranger on a moderately busy night :)

This was my first time there and definitely not the last one. The food is amazing, I ordered steak and chicken sandwiches for me and my friends. We all loved the food, the chips were amazing. Then we got Guinness zero which was really good with the food. We ordered dessert and it was wow. The place is so clean and we really had a lovely time. The staff were AMAZING and above and beyond... so lovely staff. It's a great place for family and friends 🧡

Highly recommended. Loads of space for parking, delicious food, served very promptly ( just on the day we visited the staff was a little indifferent but we’ll put it down to being busy), we got the cold chips replaced with hot ones almost instantaneously, great prices. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely meal at MJ Finnegan’s! There’s a handy car park right outside, which makes things super convenient. The interior is nicely decorated – stylish, modern, but still warm and welcoming. For starters, we shared the spicy chicken wings – perfectly cooked with just the right kick and a deliciously tangy sauce. For mains, we had the classic fish and chips – crispy batter, flaky fish, and chunky chips – and a steak sandwich that was juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. Great spot for a casual meal with quality food and a great vibe. Will definitely return!

MJ Finnegan’s is an absolutely fantastic spot right by the main road. If you’re arriving in Limerick, it’s the perfect place to stop and eat before you enter the city, and if you’re leaving, it’s the best last stop before the road. The parking is huge – there’s plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor area is spacious, sunny, and simply amazing to sit and relax in. The staff are incredibly attentive, polite, and unbelievably fast. Honestly, it feels like magic – you barely place your order, and the food is already at your table, as if it came straight out of a movie. And the food… it’s so delicious that words can hardly describe it. Every dish that came out looked so tempting, I kept wanting to photograph everything and try what other people were getting too. It’s definitely the kind of place you’ll want to come back to more than once. Presentation is beautiful – even something simple like fries comes served in unique, stylish dishes that make the experience special. I would highly recommend MJ Finnegan’s to absolutely everyone. If you’re visiting Limerick, this is a must-stop place!

Went there for a bite to eat and a coffee — the food was really good! The soup was delicious, and the bread that came with it tasted homemade, which made it even better. The coffee could have been a bit hotter, but overall it was still enjoyable. We sat in the outdoor area, which was lovely and peaceful — a perfect spot to relax. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. Overall, a really good visit and would definitely go back!

Had a large party come in for dinner and they accommodated us last minute (left from another pub to go there instead). The staff were helpful and friendly. I got the bacon and cabbage and it was amazing. It was on the pricey side, though.

the place is located in Annacoty near the river. The food is very decent, as a group we ordered 4 different veg dishes out of bhindi curry and baigan bharta were very good. The paneer in matar paneer was little hard. Veg Massaman curry was good. Thai green curry was decent but not as spicy as expected. Lamb curry and methi chicken were good as well. The naans were very soft but the chapati were little hard but not that of a big problem. The staff was very supportive and took order very carefully and the support staff and waiters were very careful about cleanliness. The ambience was good as well. Prices are also very good and not very heavy to the pocket. Overall it was a good experience and I would like to come and eat again. Recommended.

Well - 3 stars. Service.... First of all - I'm alway taking it for take away. Food is great and worth returning for it. Place has nice atmosphere, and overall is looking nice. Parking spot could be a problem sometimes. Now service for take away. It happens 3 times to me right now. I'm usually ordering for first empty slot for collection, and it could be 2-3 hours later. So I tought I might order in the middlen of the day so I can pick collection slot whenever I like - drop in collect, after work and go home quickly. This is not working. After forst and second time it happens I was assured that it will be fixed, and there will be no delay next time - here we go - every single time when I have ordered this way I had to wait 15-20 minutes longer, even taking into consideration that I have ordered around 2-3 PM. Obviously other people are just picking their orders no problem on time. Ordering system has a flaw - as kitchen is not even attempting to make my order for desired collection time - when I show up they are preparing it then.... Hopefully next time I will have better experience.

Ahh,,,finally had a wonderful Indian food after a long time in limerick. I had a vegetarian thali here, which came with 1 tandoori roti, papad, jeera rice, raita, and the option to choose between sabzi/dal(any 3 of your choice), so I chose bhindi ki sbzi (my favorite), palak paneer, and dal without a doubt. It was excellent. The cost was 22 euros for this thali & I think it’s worth it. The location appears to be far from my home; otherwise, I would have preferred to have dinner here at least once a week.Lol,,of course if they give me some discount:P The employees, manager, and ambience is nice. Good for a casual dining experience. Go get yourself treated with a nice Indian food at copper and spice.😍 Thank you

Definitely not authentic Indian food – unfortunately the worst I’ve ever tasted. We didn’t touch our mains and only managed to eat the naan and poppadoms. On top of that, it was way overpriced – at least €30 more than any other Indian restaurant iv been too. Would highly recommend avoiding this place.

Generally OK. Onion bhaji was nice tasting but swimming in grease on the plate. Needs to be drained. Cxn Tikka was dry. Lamb Rogan josh and biryani were both dry but sauce was tasty. Service was great and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Beer was nice and cold.

I came here yesterday and it’s exactly what I was looking for. This place is small and cozy. Delicious honey mustard wings, and good pepperoni fries. The place was quiet with good music and the service was great. I highly recommend this place to be eating on your own or with a few people.

I got a takeaway of Korean Wings and chips. I wasn't crazy about the sauce on the wings. But the wings themselves were fine. But the chips. The chips were amazing!!! There was a great crunch and fluffy on the inside. Honestly, I'd just get the chips and not worry about the wings. They're that good in my opinion.

One of the worst buffalo wings I've ever had, overwhelming taste of vinegar and dry meat. Ate 3 pieces and couldn't withstand anymore, disgusting. It's not the good sign if a hot wings place cannot prepare good chicken, right? Apart from that, okay fries, milk shake was delicious, staff was very friendly

Food is very hit or miss. Sometimes it's delicious and soft, with lots of sauce. Other times it's very dry and lacks any taste. Used to be my favorite place a few years ago, now I avoid it Update July 2025: They got rid of the wings & chips deal that was in place for years (as a cost cutting measure I suppose) so the same dish is 4 euro more expensive. Real shame. I don't think I'll ever come back again

It's a normal burger place, with high quality and great food! The service was good but with a lack of flexibility and bother line rudeness at the end of the night due to the insistence of not allowing to do a split of check for a group. It is a relatively economic place to dinne and I do recommend to visit it at least once! The ambience is very nice although a little bit too dark, maybe they are waiting to change all of the bulbs as a group.

Pretty good burger and chips. I got the fried chicken burger, which was gorgeous, and the bacon cheese and ranch fries. They had a little too much ranch for me. Got the Mozzarella sticks as a starter, and oh my god, the cheese pull was top-notch. The strawberry daiquiri was nice. The place was somewhat clean we found an old sauce package on our table which made us question if the table was really clean however the toilets were very clean. Overall, it was a really nice place for a little bite.

Really flavoursome veggie "Impossible" burger. It was full of flavour and possibly the nicest burger for a vegetarian/vegan. The fries with Frank's hot sauce were nice but there was too much hot sauce added. A small bit of hot sauce and more of the cheddar cheese and garlic sauce would be a lot better. It was swimming in it. Overall I'll definitely be back again.

We sat down as 4 adults and 16 young football players (16:years old). The service was absolutely top drawer, fast, efficient, and with a smile. Food was also so good, im not a burger and chip person, well in there I AM, taco chips were thd best. The cost was also a pleasant surprise.

I ordered a smash burger and Parmesan fries, and honestly, I don't have enough words to do them justice. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the burger had this wonderful crunch on the outside and was unbelievably juicy on the inside. And the pickles—oh, the pickles! There were just enough of them to add the perfect tangy balance, more than I've ever seen in a burger, and it worked brilliantly. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and I had to consciously slow myself down to savor it like the culinary masterpiece it was. To top it off, the prices were refreshingly reasonable, making it a pleasure to leave a generous tip. If you're ever in Limerick, don’t even think about leaving without visiting Locke Burger Castletroy. Food was great, definitely get a burger very tasty. We only had to wait due to it being extremely busy few orders got mixed up but again server was stresses and another server would of eased this. I do not think They were expecting such a busy Thursday but due to Irish Age groups at UL Arena it was!?

Locke Burger Castletroy used to be my favorite, but not anymore. Went last weekend, and it was a disaster. Staff were rude and clearly didn’t want to be there. The burger bun was stale, the meat had a weird smell, and the fries were inedible. Asked for no pickles, and the burger was full of them. No attention to detail. Left hungry and disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who cares about quality or service.

Ordered the gym shark meal and a 4 piece boneless meal both large, one with Pepsi max one with 7up free for takeaway, had to correct them twice on if it was for takeaway, when I was ordering in the middle of it the person taking my order left from behind the counter to go say hi to someone they knew. When my food was done they gave me one large and one small drink, the Pepsi max was a regular Pepsi, they didn’t give me any forks, napkins or straws, the lid they put on my gym shark meal didn’t fit, manager left the store at one point to talk to someone outside, refused to correct any of their mistakes. Awful

So lot of things has changed in KFC in last 2 months. 1. Portion sizes are back to normal. Chicken wings are back normal size not some small remainings as it was happening before. 2. Staff is much friendlier with customers. They are interested in how they can help you the best. 3. Order kiosks are fully operational all the time now. Im changing my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Well done.

Had to leave after waiting over half an hour and then told to wait never been treated so badly in my 50 years plus, by Kfc Castletroy Limerick, I went out to KFC Denise road brilliant no comparison.

Their website and sign on the door says they open at 11 am on a Sunday. But they kept the doors locked and only opened them at 11:30. Why put out a sign saying you open at 11 when you keep customers away by locking the doors until 11:30, anyway? The girl at the counter looked like she didn’t wanna be there. She wasn’t rude but she wasn’t exactly pleasing. Terrible service, but we’re hungry and the food had always been okay anyway.

RAW CHICKEN ! Tried again 1 year later after a very bad experience with this KFC. Kentucky Fried CHICKEN they call themselves. A ZINGER SANDWICH AND HALF OF THE CHICKEN WAS RAW!! Go to KFC if you want a visit at Limerick Hospital. Complaint sent to Just Eat and KFC, but no one is taking accountability. I see lots of people complaining about raw chicken from KFC, until they will kill someone.

WARNING - CHECK YOUR TAKEAWAY ORDER CAREFULLY. I EXPRESSLY asked for no legs in a bargain bucket. The server EXPRESSLY informed the packer. He DELIBERATELY put 2 legs in bottom of bucket and we didn't notice until we got home. We'll never go back to the Childers Road Limerick KFC again.

The atmosphere is really nice, with pool tables and other games available. However, the main reason I gave one star is because of the manager, Karina. She's an authoritarian and rude manager. She acts like a boss, not a leader, and shows no appreciation for diverse cultures. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I’m telling all my friends to avoid places that are racist and discriminatory toward other cultures

Food was very nice, very reasonable on price for a city location. We were down for 2 nights....would definitely come back. Best place for bite of food few drinks and plenty of TVs for sport, games room and much more. 👍👍

Absolutely disappointing! Awful Management! Since 2022 my friends and I have been regular customers during the final stages of the Champions League. Today they were showing a Liverpool Match in most of the screens , and that's perfect, because there were people watching at that. But at the same time, there were two free tables, two televisions , where no one more than us was sitting and watching football. One of the televisions was showing the champions league, no Liverpool match. We asked the manager if we could watch the match there, as there were no customers, and she said no, just Liverpool today. I told her, there was a television with no customers at all, and where they actually were showing a champions league match, so maybe we could watch the champions there, the manager didn't even answer and she just moved to change the channel. Every year we are regular customers during February-May, for the final stages of the champions league, today the manager decided to be Hunters Premier League Bar, instead of Hunters Sports bar and her treatment was totally disrespectful and inefficient, no manners at all. Hopefully she will change her behaviour for the future, as her management today was awful. Sad experience, because it's the first time in 3 years when they acted like that.

It's a lovely place, I ordered chicken tikka fries and it was good and the portion was very good. The place is so clean and the decoration is very cosy. But, the only thing that I didn't like and definitely overpriced was my mojto drink (lemon with mint) for a glass FULL of ice I paid €8.50. I literally didn't drink anything, just ice. A family member got Pina colada and it was full of ice too. The straw was paper and it got blocked at bottom, not the right straw for a very vold drink. The overall is 8 out of 10. The food was good but the drink wasn't.

Food was decent. Nothing to write home about but filled a gap. I went for spaghetti bolognese, easy option. Looking at the menu I'd say the burger would have been a good call. The staff are brilliant. Manager on duty was lovely. Great place to watch the sport. Tellys all over.

It was not good . I ordered steak . Had to return it for third time. Meat overcooked. Instead of medium . Which I asked for on first steak . After third steak it was as I asked perfect . Thank. Very busy for lunch time, sandwiches were great, got red onion instead of tomatoes, should have watched closer but was ordering 4 sandwiches. Staff was pleasant and efficient, good value.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. Extremely dismissive and hostile customer service from one particular man when on the phone with a querie about why he cancelled my order without explaining himself. Also incredibly hard to understand. Will never be ordering ever again and I'd recommend to anyone else to order from any other subway in Limerick instead.

I’ve had a chicken fillet burger and chicken nuggets w/ garlic dip like 2 weeks ago. The burger was quite nice with large chicken fillet.. the sauce tastes nice as well. I wasn’t very impressed with those chicken nuggets tho, they really tasted like Tesco fish fingers. The dip was nice with strong taste! It’s good in general.

Ordered pineapple and ham but got pepperoni instead, no dip in the pizza and the extra dip I purchased was missing from the order. This isn’t the first time and it’s definitely our last time ordering from here. Absolutely loved their food but their attitude towards loyal customers is terrible.
