The best restaurant in Cambodia we have ever had. It is a bit more expensive than the rest we tried in Cambodia but we feel like it’s totally worth it! Top recommendation is the fresh spring roll, it’s really fresh and makes you have a good appetite. The fish amok is also tasty and you could feel the fish it used is fresh and sweet. The omelette is also great and as well as the cheesy grilled plate!! Highly recommend

I had a fully vegan brunch here which was amazing. The pancakes were cooked to perfection. Its good to see that almost all their dishes can be made vegan, nice seeing a restaurant taking steps towards becoming a kinder, more compassionate and sustainable food system.

An incredibly chilled restaurant in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Siem Riep. The concept is highly admirable (training young Cambodian staff for the hospitality industry) but this would not work if the food and service were not exemplary. They are! I dined here twice during my stay in Siem Reap and both times had memorable evenings. The prices for such a high class dining experience are incredibly competitive too!

Nestled in the heart of Siem Reap, Haven offers a relaxed atmosphere. We were promptly seated and our delicious food (easily the best we’ve tasted in Cambodia) arrived swiftly. We also enjoyed reading about the restaurant’s mission and felt the enthusiasm surrounding the project when speaking to the founder. Highly recommended!

Top Restaurant with a wonderful selection of local and international dishes. Very friendly staff and a nice ambiance in the garden. Do make reservations though or you might not get a table for diner. An absolute must place to eat when you’re in Siem Riep away from the touristy bustle

The food was good, but not remarkable. Ribs and curry were very good. Salads were good, but beef skewers had a rigid texture, hard to bite and spring rolls too fatty, grilled fish was not grilled as I expected, it tasted as a boiled fish and had lots of bones… but probably it’s a local recipe that I personally don’t appreciate. So we couldn’t eat much of this fish. Also, the place gets very busy for dinner, so long wait time for main courses. The restaurant indicates 30-40 mins wait time on their menu.

We were recommended this place which was a great recommendation. I would advise booking ahead as we had to sit outside as there was no other space. Sitting outside was actually preferable for us, next to the fish in the pond, the light was dimmer than inside, the temperature balmy and it all led to a great vibe. We can highly recommend the pineapple and chilli margarita along with the fish Amok. Service was good, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Lovely skewers, nicely marinated. The morning glory dish was delicious. The grilled fish, however, was not seasoned at all, which is too bad because it was cooked properly. Nice venue and good service.

The Sugar Palm seems to attract its crowd largely because the chef taught Gordon Ramsay how to make fish amok, but overall, it’s not as impressive as the hype suggests. The fish amok was good but overly coconuty. Most of the other dishes were unimpressive. The crispy fried spring rolls and pomelo salad were average, the kor ko fish soup and squid with Kampot pepper were just passable, and the grilled eggplant with minced pork was overly sweet without any grilled flavor. The fried shrimp fritters and coconut ice cream were decent though. The restaurant also lacks air conditioning and good ventilation (standing outside was actually cooler), and got really noisy when more diners came in, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. Servings are not big (we shared seven dishes among four people), but acceptably priced. Reservations recommended as there's a queue after 7pm.

Had a great experience here — the service was excellent, drinks were well-crafted, and the tasting menu was definitely interesting. I enjoyed some dishes more than others, but really appreciated the creativity and the nod to Khmer heritage. Definitely worth recommending.

Perfect in every way! We ordered one of each tasting menu. Every dish was creative, beautifully presented and included a wonderful blend of tastes.

I celebrated my birthday with them and I think they have a brilliant idea on each of the items on their tasting menu, however, in my opinion, it lacks flavour. The Koh Kong scallops were mind blowing, and the pandan tiramisu is innovative. But those are the only items on the tasting menu that were interesting for me. The cocktails were just okay but the service they provide is great. Every staff were friendly and accommodating - it is also a nice place to spend special occasions.

The experience we needed! The food was delicious, I had the vegetarian menu and I should say, chefs in Europe have to learn from this… not the usual vegetarian ingredients, but delicious surprising flavors! I really enjoyed it! The service was very good and the place is not that expensive if you consider the level of the service and food. Highly recommended!

For me the flavours really hit nicely. Maybe lacking in a little animal protein. The only miss for the night was the cocktail. I ordered the ginger martini and the flavours tasted muddled instead of the clean crisp flavours you expect from a martini.

Wow! This was an incredible experience! The chefs carefully crafted each dish to develop a complex yet balanced masterpiece. Each course was unique and brought out the unique flavours of Cambodian cuisine with a touch of French mastery! Overall, this was our favourite restaurant and we have been to others, such as the Embassy Khmer Gastronomy, which was more expensive and tasted so much worse. We really recommend it and the price justifies the amazing dishes! You will feel very full at the end. This is on par with one Michelin star restaurant.

This is a truly enchanting place! From the moment you step in, you know you're in for a treat. The restaurant is sooo beautiful inside with such elegant decor. This is only surpasses by the flavors and preparations of the food. Such amazing detail to the presentation and flavors, such perfect balance of ingredients and textures.we ordered the crispy rice with Natang Sauce, Tonle sap steamed fish (truly outstanding), roasted khmer chicken, spinach with garlic. Food and ambience was good. The service is also really good. Our server Song Sen was really nice and even taught us some phrases in Cambodian! There was a card that was provided that I have kept throughout my trip to help use day to day terms. Nice touch. We ordered a beef salad and two mains, rice is an add on but overall the meal was really good. Would definitely recommend to give it a try. We discovered restaurant by chance while strolling toward the night market and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we had in Siem Reap. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I especially loved the chicken- banana blossom salad, and the sweet po pea dessert. We were so impressed that we came back the next day! We ordered different main dishes but stuck with the same salad and dessert because they were just that good. However, the salad was much spicier the second time, and we couldn’t finish it. After we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly offered to remake it, with a smile and no hesitation. That level of service really stood out. Would definitely come back if we visit Siem Reap again.

I had a wonderful meal here, decided to stop by after an excellent experience at Friends in Phnom Penh. The crew is hard working, warm and kind and it translates well into a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely stop by here again next time I'm in Siem Reap.

Food was exceptional and you can tell that they source a high quality of ingredients. The staff were also very nice and the service was really good. If you’re a vegetarian, the vegetarian options are also of very high quality which we really appreciated, especially for an option that tends to be overlooked. Their mango sticky rice and pumpkin cheesecake were true highlights! Best meal we’ve had in Cambodia, by far!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Marum in Siem Reap. The menu is creative and full of unique flavors, and everything I tried was delicious. The fresh spring rolls were light and refreshing, the red ant stir-fry was an adventurous and flavorful dish, and I ended on a perfect note with a crispy, sweet banana fritter. Beyond the food, the service was warm, kind, and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Marum not only offers great food but also supports a meaningful cause, training young hospitality students. If you’re in Siem Reap, this place is a must-visit!

Lovely place with delicious food. A vocational training restaurant with some wonderful smiles. They have a small shop located within Marum.

Had the most amazing dining experience here. Incredible food, comfortable relaxed atmosphere and friendly excellent staff. Every dish I ordered was served beautifully plated, and full of dynamic and rich satisfying flavor. The baked tilapia with spicy miso butter was above and beyond what I could have imagined. Incredibly tasty! The prahok with crispy rice puff crackers was also a show stopper. The perfect mix of sour, spicy and savory. Last but not least the mango and vanilla ice cream shake was head and shoulders above anything else like it I have ever tried. I could go on but you really have to try the food yourself to properly appreciate just how delicious it was. The icing on the cake is that this restaurant is powered by Friends International and provides vocational training to their staff. Nice to help support a good cause. 10/10 I highly recommend this restaurant and can not wait to go back!

Will return. 11:30am, we were the only table. People start to streaming in at 12. Chinese pop songs are being played – not Hong Kong pop, which I consider it more sophisticated. The high ceiling decor is elegant and sophisticated. I love the intricate and symmetrical lattice wood works. Great service and delicious clay pots: tofu and bamboo soup, which is the most delicious, light and flavorful. It’s the best among all the soups I’ve had on this tour so far. We would lunch at their Phnom Penh 金边 a few days later. Comparing the two, I like this one far better.

The food here is outstanding. Authentic Cambodian flavors, unlimited rice, and great set menus. A little pricier than most, but worth it for the quality and experience. Convenient location near my hostel too!

Malis Restaurant in downtown Siem Reap certainly presents itself as an establishment catering to a mid-to-upper price range, which is understandable given its location and ambiance. However, the overall experience didn't entirely align with this expectation. While I appreciate having this level of dining option in the neighborhood, certain aspects left room for improvement, especially considering the cost. One notable area was the comfort of the dining environment. Despite the price point, the restaurant felt surprisingly warm, which detracted from the overall experience, particularly in Siem Reap's climate. Additionally, the level of hospitality, while polite, felt somewhat basic compared to other restaurants in a similar price bracket. Simple touches like a waitress proactively pouring water, which are often standard in this range, were noticeably absent. Regarding the food itself, I opted for the recommended scallops and the Amok Fish. While the dishes were presented adequately, the flavors felt rather mediocre, especially when considering the price. The taste didn't quite justify the cost, and I was left feeling that the quality needs to be elevated to truly match the restaurant's pricing and perceived target audience. While I commend the effort to offer a higher-end dining experience, some refinements are needed to fully meet those expectations.

I went to Malis for breakfast and really enjoyed it. For just $9 net, you get a free-flow option where you can order from the entire breakfast menu from Cambodian dishes to Western classics, plus fresh juice, tea, and coffee. The atmosphere feels elegant with a modern Cambodian design, and there’s even a charming little garden seating area at the back. A great spot to start the morning.

A very ‘special occasion’ restaurant - but who needs a special occasion! Just come and treat yourself - it’s really not that expensive, you deserve a treat and the food is really good! As are the designs, layout and general ambience. I would have given you 5 stars but the Morning Glory was tough, thick, stringy, undercooked, not fresh and had little / no leaf to speak of. Check out Sokkhak River Restaurant’s Morning Glory & take notes. Also, the restaurant was too hot until they turned on large fans, on request. Proper air conditioning would be more welcome. The atmosphere was lacking customers (we were one of only two couples (again, check out your competition & find out why - as they are busy).

Been to Mali’s a few times on my trip. Excellent, upscale space next to the river - meaning it’s easy to get in and out. Food is excellent. Kulen pig is crispy outside and tender juicy inside. Samlor Korko Pork is super flavorful. Service is impeccable. Highly recommended.

We took a private Khmer cooking class with Sopheap and had the best time! She’s an amazing woman — kind, patient, and incredibly skilled. She explained every step with care and shared fascinating stories and history behind each dish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole team was so warm and welcoming. We can’t recommend them enough — they truly deserve all the support! Thank you again, Sopheap, for your time and generosity. You’ll always be our number one teacher! 😍

A wonderful morning with a small group and our tutor Sinuon learning to cook authentic local dishes and then enjoying the freshly cooked lunch each of us made. After a brief market trip we spent the morning preparing our dishes. All ingredients were organised beautifully presented and we were taught how to prepare the ingredients and spices before cooking. Sinuon was terrific - a fun, patient teacher with a great sense of humour. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful - and the food was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Paper Tiger is a great spot for a casual meal with a few highlights worth mentioning. The beer is cheap, making it an ideal place to relax without spending too much. The service is friendly, with staff ensuring a pleasant experience throughout your visit. The environment is decent—not overly fancy, but comfortable enough for a laid-back meal. The standout item on the menu is the Loklak burger, which is flavorful and satisfying, definitely worth trying. If you’re looking for affordable drinks, good food, and friendly service, Paper Tiger is a solid choice!

We booked the Paper Eatery Cooking Class through Klook, and it was easily one of the best experiences of our Siem Reap trip! Chef Sinoun was incredibly cheerful, bright, and helpful. She provided a wonderful tour of the local market, explaining all the ingredients, and then guided us through the cooking process. Her instructions on cutting and cooking were clear and easy to follow. It was a truly enjoyable and memorable experience, perfect for friends and family. We also appreciated the opportunity to meet and interact with people from various countries. Highly recommend!

Really good experience in this restaurant who has a Tintin theme. The atmosphere is chill and nice. The dishes are very tasty and completely affordable. The chicken curry was simply awesome !

The Regina Pizza was fantastic, easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had anywhere in Asia. The curry was equally impressive, packed with flavour and perfectly balanced. I only wish I had more time in Cambodia so I could come back for another meal.

Wonderful time at SPOONS Café and Restaurant. We had the place to ourselves during lunch, which gave us the chance to truly appreciate the young, talented students as they showcased their skills and attention to detail in every aspect of the service. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented! We enjoyed traditional fish dishes and desserts, paired with fresh cold-pressed juices — just perfect. The whole team was professional and friendly, and the setting is both relaxing and charming. Big bonus: dining at SPOONS supports youth training programs, which adds so much meaning to every sip and bite. A total win for us. I can’t recommend it enough, and I wholeheartedly encourage these young people to persevere — they’re doing an amazing job!

What a wonderful experience! Super tasty food which comes in a quirky form, our Hmok came in bamboo🎍 the staff, especially Mom, was so lovely and attentive. This place is a must visit if you’re in Siem Reap. The prices are little more expensive than other places but so worth it. This is a non profit organisation who help those under served get into the world of work ✨

We were taken here by our hotel. We did not look into the restaurant so expected the hotel to pick a lovely place. Taking into consideration what we have for the amount of Money they charged us this is ridiculous we paid $60 USD for 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 dessert plus 1 coke and 1 fresh lime juice. The food is average/okay. Nothing special, for the price we paid this was meant to be a luxurious dining experience and it wasn’t that way. I wouldn’t recommend as the average regular restaurant should be no more than $15 pp

I recently went to a restaurant with my colleagues, and I really enjoyed the experience. The food was great—flavorful and well-prepared. One dish that really stood out to me was the beef lok lak. It’s definitely a must-try, especially with rice—either fried rice or plain white rice. If you eat it on its own, the flavor might be a bit too strong, especially for foreigners. As a Cambodian, I found it just right, but I’m not sure if foreigners would feel the same, since they usually prefer milder flavors. I also tried the fried rice, and I have to say—it was one of my favorites. It wasn’t like your typical fried rice. They actually deep-fried some of the rice, which made it crispy and then mixed it together with the soft, regular fried rice. The texture was amazing— The salmon was incredibly fresh, and I liked how they added a Cambodian twist by offering a spicy sauce along with soy sauce. The steak was also amazing. It was so tender that it melted in my mouth—no need to chew much at all! It was soft, juicy yummy! As for dessert, I had the ice cream. It was quite basic, but still enjoyable. It melted quickly, though, it looked very simple-Still, it was a nice way to end the meal. What I love about this restaurant is that they offer both Cambodian and Western dishes, so it’s a great place to explore different flavors. I was surprised to see so many Cambodian customers there, including myself, but they also attract a good number of Western guests. However, the service was the only disappointing part. It was a bit odd—they didn’t escort us to our table; they just pointed and said, “we have prepared your table and it is over there,” so we had to walk there ourselves. The staff weren’t smiling, and they seemed like they were in a bad mood, or maybe that’s just how they normally are. We tried to chat and be friendly, but they didn’t really respond or smile back. It felt a little awkward and unwelcoming. If they could improve the service, everything else about the place would be perfect. Overall, I really liked the food and atmosphere. I’d still recommend it—but I hope the staff work on their hospitality.

A beautiful restaurant built on traditional Khmer house set in tropical garden. I love it here! Been there a couple time with friends and family. My favourite dishes were duck curry and beef lok lak. Great service, staff were friendly and lovely! Looking forward to go back again for our future visit. Thanks guys

Absolutely not worth it and service is lacking. My partner got her main course 5 minutes before me and the same happened for the dessert as well so it seems like a common mistake here. To be honest you can get the local dishes for a fraction of the price and with similar quality. For the desserts: the lava cake does not have the liquid core like it should, so don’t bother. Atmosphere is also nothing special, I was very disappointed.

I had the pleasure of dining at Jomno Restaurant recently, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. I tried the Fish Amok and it was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The ingredients were clearly fresh and high quality. We also shared a dessert, the Ice-cream Vanilla, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Beyond the food, the ambiance was just right—cozy yet stylish, with soft lighting and a relaxed vibe. Rushed meal because I had a bus to catch but the food was 10/10 Just grabbed a portion of the Crispy Amok Salad which was truly great. The place is done up well and the service is truly great. Pre-meal they serve some seasoned peanuts and fresh hot bread which was really good. This one deserves another visit and I hope to be back in Siem Reap again!

The service was amazing, all the ladies were so friendly and lovely, we had a baby with us and they all offered to hold him so we could enjoy our dinner. The food, was some of the best food we’ve had, every course was bursting with flavour. There was a story/information behind every course which all added to the evening. Amazing venue to have a specially curated dinner, mixing western and khmer food into various wonderful courses. Celebrated my wife's birthday here and the food and service did not disappoint. The ambience was beautiful and there many photo taking spots in this restaurant as it's amazing at night. Thank you to the amazing all-ladies crew in making my wife's birthday an amazing and memorable experience.

My husband arranged a meal here for my birthday during ourholiday in Siem Reap. What is unique about this restaurant is that it is run entirely by women both in the kitchen and front of house. The chef uses local seasonal ingredients for the entire menu. We were greeted with drinks and offered an amuse bouche. We were then invited to the kitchen to meet the team where we had another small dish. After this, we sat down in the main dining area for the rest of the meal. The food was phenomenal from the start. It showcased the best that the local area could offer and the portions were just right. The staff were so friendly and attentive. They offered a special birthday surprise at the end. They also give their diners some macaroons to take home to continue the experience. These were made from cashews - again focussing in on the Cambodian theme. If you want a Cambodian fine dining experience then restaurant is a must to visit. It is Michelin star quality without the price tag, if not better than some of the Michelin star restaurants I have been to! Definitely worth it!

Wow what a beautiful experience! How does this place not have a michelin star i dont know! We have been to 2 stars places not even a fraction as good as here. From the moment you walk in it is a proper culinary journey. Very personalised. Love the whole woman team along with the depth of flavours that evolve with the pairings. Can't rate it highly enough!!! What a gem!!

Must do in Siem Reap. My partner and I were recommended this experience by another couple that we met in Hanoi, and I am sooo glad they did and we listened to them. This was such an incredible meal in such a beautiful atmosphere with the best service. We were offered seconds on some of the dishes and enthusiastically accepted.

Genuinely one of the best culinary experiences I've had in my life. So much attention to detail! From the course served from the kitchen to the name tags on the table, an absolutely unmissable experience if you are a food enthusiast in Siem Reap.

Nice riverside setting, friendly staff, mixed food experience. It was quite overwhelming to pick a restaurant by the river since they all look good, and every place has staff trying to get you to sit down. We chose this one based on Google reviews, and overall, it was a decent experience. The setting by the river is lovely, and they have mosquito-repelling spirals, which were very much needed! The staff was super friendly and fun, making us feel welcome. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. The big noodles with chicken were definitely overcooked and quite bland. The tofu amok was tasty but more like a green curry than the traditional amok we’ve had elsewhere. The tofu aubergine dish looked nothing like the menu picture but turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We couldn’t finish everything, and the kind staff packed it up for us. For $10.50, including beers, it was a decent meal. Would recommend for the atmosphere and service, but food quality varies by dish. I’d rate it 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4 for the friendly service and nice setting.

we visited this place for dinner on our first night in Siem reap, we noticed that the prices where from $1-2 for a drink including smoothies, soft drinks and alcohol, and $2-3 for dishes. There was a wide variety of food on offer. Plenty of seating and situated right in the riverside, perfect for a romantic dinner. We were seated by a lovely young man, he took our order swiftly and was very charming! The drinks came, we ordered a mango, strawberry and banana smoothie each, very tasty, slightly icy. The food took approx 1 hour to come but it was cooked fresh to order and the flavour was exceptional! The lady who cooked our food and owns this stall has an amazing personality, she works so hard and needs more recognition for all the work she does, she is also multi lingual which was very impressive. We stayed in Siem reap for 3 nights and we ate here every night. Amazing service and amazing food, what more could you want.

The lady was so lovely, told us about how she cooked the dishes her own special way making the delicious experience even better. She has informed us that she can’t change the time on the google reviews so she opens at 12pm instead of 9:30am, so a perfect spot to get lunch or dinner along the river.

Amazing food and great value for money! Champey is the best! Super friendly and made sure we were looked after. It was so good we visited twice! Loads of food options and plenty of vegetarian options too. The location by the river is great, especially at night time. Definitely reccomend!

You cannot leave Siem Reap without eating at Champey´s place ! :) Beautiful atmosphere by the river. Amazing food and such a nice service. Sometimes it takes a while but that´s just because Champey prepares her original foods with fresh ingredients, and it takes time to create such a good khmer food. Thank you very much.

If you’re looking for authentic street food experience with nice food this would be the place. Even ifstuff doesn’t speak a lot of English, Mrs Champey is always happy to help. In the evening it can get quite busy, but it is worth waiting. Prices are very low and food is delicious. We came 3 days in a row to try different dishes and liked them all. Also, Mrs Champey is always up for a chat if she has a minute!

The space, decoration, and atmosphere are amazing. The food likewise is delicious and comes in a good portion, sharable among groups. Several seating options are available: patios, tables (ground or upper floor), and benches. The price veers a bit to the expensive side. I came in a group of 6. We ordered 4 dishes, rice, and drinks. The total came up to being just over $7 a person. Though if you ask me, it is quite worth it. P.S. The goat is most adorable.

The taste is good. But bit pricey. It balance between price and environment.

The food taste was acceptable however the service was a bit slow and not that good. The atmosphere and environment of the restaurant space is very nice featured with the farming animals like chickens, rabbits, and goats.

Authentic Khmer Cuisine. At the heart of Prahok Chamkar’s menu is prahok, a fermented fish paste integral to Cambodian cooking. The best grilled chicken in town. It doesn’t tase spicy as it look. Relly recommend 🤤🤤

Very nice foods with reasonable price.

This street is a few blocks away from the river. Not where it is marked on Google Maps. It is a little quiet. The Riverside Night Market is better to go to. But really enjoyed the Made in Cambodia Market.

Like most of the town, nothing special to do on the street. Wonder why it has its own label..... If it ain't on your way, you can avoid coming to the street

Beautiful dancing. Be sure to use Google to Google the dances so that you understand the context of the dances to truly appreciate what you are seeing. Food is a buffet that starts at 630. Food isn't bad, lots of variety. Drinks not included. Non air-conditioning but still quite comfortable.

It was a good experience. About $11-12 buys you buffet meal which was tasty, there were many options. Drinks were paid separately. We were assigned a seat as booked through our hotel. The performance was okay and in the end the dancers pose for pictures with the visitors. It is in a covered space but no walls and they had fans with no AC, it was a bit hot but manageable.

Well it is buffet style but the quality of food is below average especially the japanese sushi, the rice used is not japanese rice nor cooked with vinegar, just plain rice. The stir fried crocodile meat is leathery tough. Desert is alright but not cold enough. The cultural show is superb, the costumes are colorful and outstanding. Dining hall is spacious and airy despite having a thousand diners in it.

For $12US pp for an all you can eat buffet is value for money, but you also get a show of tradional Kymer dances. The tradional dancing is fantastic. Cheap night out in my option. Drinks are additional but very cheap.

Buffett dinner pre cultural show. The food was average mass produced. Drinks were an additional cost with tax added! The show which lasted 45 minutes to an hour was just okay. Nothing to write home about on this experience. We got the sense that this mass offer is specially for tourists. A let down in my opinion.

Came here to see an apsara dance show with buffet, booked through my hotel. The dance show was ok, nothing incredible. The food was mediocre, all fairly bland despite me trying about 20 different dishes. The chicken curry had zero chicken in it. The beer was overpriced ($4 including a compulsory service charge for local Angkor beer) and not very cold.

Food is mediocre if not below average. The short traditional Khmer dance show, although not outstanding, is probably the only worthwhile part of whole dining experience.

Amazing food, the staff were incredible, friendly and helpful. The staff spoke English very well. We had drinks, sushi, tempura and main dish. We highly recommend this place again and again.

We had such a lovely experience here! We ordered Salmon maki, tuna nigiri, and Japanese curry with katsu - everything was super tasty and well prepared. They started us off with a small salad for each of us, and served miso soup alongside the main dish. We also got refreshing towels and cold water as soon as we sat down, which was a really nice touch. The service was quiet, polite, and very attentive. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Japanese food and a peaceful dining experience! 🍱✨

I had a really great time at Hachi Restaurant. The service was outstanding special thanks to Rany, who took care of me with kindness and professionalism. The whole staff is warm, welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. As for the food, the quality is excellent: fresh ingredients, well-presented dishes, and truly tasty flavors. The ramen was delicious and very affordable, while the sushi was prepared with great care and tasted amazing; something not so easy to find in the area. That being said, the main downside is the value for money. Overall, the prices are quite high for Siem Reap, or cambodia. If they were a bit more reasonable, I believe this place could easily become the very best sushi bar in town and attract even more customers. All in all, I definitely recommend Hachi Restaurant for the quality of its food and especially for the lovely and attentive staff.

Beautiful atmosphere. Good service. The food was pretty disappointing. Not fresh tasting sashimi. The rolls had VERY strong tasting seaweed. From a group of people who love Japanese food and eat rolls often…the main taste of the rolls was seaweed and an imitation spicy mayo. The sparking water was good.

Our experience at Kroya Restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Our server, Liza, explained the six-course menu thoroughly, making it easy to enjoy each dish to its fullest. Solin also checked in on us and chatted warmly, adding a personal and friendly touch to the service. The food was truly exceptional—each course beautifully presented and delicious. To make my visit extra special, they surprised me with a cake and flowers for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The afternoon tea was also delightful, with a lovely selection of treats. The staff even helped us take a nice photo to remember the day. Overall, the service at Kroya was impeccable, and the combination of beautiful food, attentive staff, and thoughtful touches made our visit truly memorable.

I loved this place. If you want to eat really well, exploring a reinterpretation of Khmer cuisine and ingredients with a modern approach, you can’t miss it. I booked this place for one dinner, but I was so stunned that I had to come back the night after to try all the other options on their tasting menu. Out of all the incredible dishes, both the soups, the catfish and the duck one, were amazing, worth the whole dinner. Price is insanely low for this level (but I hope it stays like this). Special mention to the waiter Solin who took care of me one of the nights, nice chat and he added some extra information about the dishes. Thank you Solin!

If you're looking for out-of-this-world vegetarian options in Siem Reap, this is definitely the place. I went for the Plant Forward six courses menu, and it was absolutely amazing. From appetizer to main course and desert, everything was a delight and super tasty. I would say the Amok what is the highlight of the night, and the jackfruit curry dip crisp rice cracker is the runner-up. I suggest you to take the wine pairing, because it did enhance the flavor of the dishes and they are all a very well balanced selection of wines. Ms. Laut explained me the content of every dish, making the whole experience even better. Super recommend!

The dinner was superb. We came here and it was the most amazing surprise. Solin was the kindest, explained us the menu and advised us on what to have. The restaurant is beautiful, very elegant, and the price is very good, not too cheap but affordable if you want to have an amazing culinary experience. A must if you are at Siem Reap

Beautiful decor, extremely friendly staff, very creative food. Our server Laut was so sweet, attentive & loved to laugh! I ordered the 6 course menu & my two other friends ordered the plant forward menu. I got to taste everything and & every dish was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully curated menu using local ingredients and techniques. Service was fantastic but think it could be complimented by more of a story on the meal, ingredients etc. Definately a welcome refuge from the noisy nightlife and streetfood offerings when in Siem Reap

Def will return. One of my favorites restaurants during this trip. I’ve wonderful experience. When I first passed by this hotel after visiting the little arty market on Oum Khun Street, my first feeling is ‘oh so colonial’. The swing beds seem to move one back in time. We’ve dinner indoor and afternoon tea out door on the swing bed. Decor is elegant and classy. The indoor floor to ceiling glass wall offer the full view of the swimming beds and the street. White linen napkin with black trim, very handsome looking. Atop a ring of jasmine, is four fat Indian lotus. They must be infatuated with flowers because many of their foods have flowers and leaves, that are edible. Very good stems. The service is wonderful and the foods are delicious. We’ve two small different tasting menus by chef Chanrith. (The full menu at nahm was just too much!) The among of food is fine, would be better if it’s slightly less. The presentation and taste are excellent. They care enough to ask if we want our dessert immediately or after five minutes. It’s an 80 degree night, comfortable with or without a thin shawl. We’ve our desserts out on their swing bed. I can see myself falling asleep on it, after a satisfying meal.

I pop in and eat here probably 3 or 4 times a week. The food is consistently delicious and fresh, and the staff are very friendly. Despite catering to mostly westerners and tourists, the pricing feels very local. I always get the fresh vegetable spring rolls with chicken, and typically rotate between their chicken curry, Bai Sach Chruk (pork, rice, egg and pickled veggies) or the protein salad with avocado and chicken. I've eaten many other dishes there, from the fish amok to the lok lak to their egg sandwiches and more. It's all been good. Whether you're here for a few days on vacation, or are a local or long term expat you won't be disappointed!

Great food done right by people who care. When you eat here you’re giving back to the community. I’ve eaten here five times and have been impressed by the quality of ingredients and care in preparation every time. Tevy’s also has really good vegetarian options. Plenty of Khmer, Asian, and Western options. Eat here, you won’t be disappointed!

What a wonderful spot! We had read about Tevy’s ahead of time and headed straight over for our first dinner in Siem Reap. The food was delicious with many traditional Khmer options - fried fish with pomelo shrimp salad was a highlight. Our food took some time to arrive, but it was clear that this was because the staff was working so hard to feed a full restaraunt and preparing everything fresh! We were lucky to meet the Irish co-founder on our way out who was also a delight.

Service and food were amazing! We all ordered the Tevy’s special fish baguette after hearing it was a must try and it did not disappoint! Super delicious. I would say ask for extra sauce because the sauces are to die for and there is just not enough. A side of mango salsa would really make this an unbeatable fish sandwich.

Over a month-long stay in Siem Reap, this became one of my favourite and most visited restaurants. The food is great; the prices, reasonable; the service, excellent. The place itself is clean, airy and modern, yet still manages to have a kind of cosy, old-fashioned charm to it. It attracts mainly Westerners. Yet, with many of them seemingly regulars, it doesn’t feel anything like an “only in it for the money” tourist trap. Indeed, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is exemplary. I enjoyed every visit and every meal. The menu covers both Cambodian and Western cuisine. Having had various rice or noodle based dishes, yesterday I had the day’s special: Irish stew with crusty bread and a glass of draught lager. Delicious and far more substantial than might appear from the photo.

Pure pleasure to visit Tevy’s place, not o my because of delicious, healthy food, but also due to staff being super kind and helpful! I’ve ordered char curry with tofu and it was amazing, rich flavour, long stewed, aromatic, fresh and good quality ingredients. If only they had a sitting space outside they would be twice as crowds! Thank you, Tevy!

The service is very good, they have welcome drink which is nice but the taste is weird tho. In addition, they have a little bowl of appetizer for us which is nice. Foods are fresh and tasty. Except the chicken curry, i think they should put more curry paste in the dish because the taste of coconut is too strong, cant taste the curry. Other than this dish, others are great.

The place was completely empty when we walked in. We were shocked because of all of the reviews, especially the New York Times one. But it was out of tourism season, so that could be it. The service was impeccable, the dining room is stunning, and the view into the kitchen is refreshing! We were being catered to so perfectly. The cocktail menu is so large. Basically you can get whatever you want! The menu has amazing options that I would describe as modernized Cambodian. They pride themselves in using all of the parts of the plants, which is highlighted in the lotus flower salad. We each got something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! We started with the spring rolls and the lotus salad. Both were extremely refreshing! Then we each got a different entree. I had the fish amok and it was so good! We saw amok at a lot of different restaurants and this was so well executed. And then for dessert, we got the banana fritters, which were the perfect ending to the meal! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all tourists. It was the best place and the only thing that went smoothly during our trip in Cambodia haha!

Excellent Lotus salad, veggie Curry and banana fritters, my wife and I split one of each and it worked out great. Service was top notch and the a very nice place inside. It was a bit expensive for Cambodia, but it was worth it for me to relax inside this beautiful restaurant and enjoy some great food and drink.

It was surprisingly good! The grilled seafood with curry paste broth was outstanding. A hidden gem that we would definitely recommend for a nice dinner out! $9-12 for a main course, and the dishes are more of a western fusion style.

The food is awesome, very tasting and authentic . Service is excellent, anyone wants the authentic Khmer food should give a try. Also the environment is nice, good location, they have a small balcony where you can see the pub street on second floor

We tried 5 different dishes, all from their recommended list. All dishes were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and using very fresh ingredients. The waiters were very attentive and offered excellent service. Prices are expensive, but if you want to treat yourself to one excellent Cambodian meal this is the place to go.

Probably the highest quality restaurant in town. We had some difficulty getting in as the posted hours (both online and at the door) say they open at 5:30, but they didn’t open until 6. Definitely try the pumpkin soup, it was divine. The presentation of all the dishes was great. The French Onion Soup was missing the cheese - the menu says it’s served with cheese but the wait staff said it wasn’t, so that’s a bit confusing. Overall good if you’d like to have a fancier meal.

A friend recommended us to give this French-Khmer restaurant a try, and boy, we’re so glad that we did! Everything was perfect. The restaurant is styled to a lovely ambiance, perfect for couples/families looking for a romantic break from the local cuisine in Siem Reap! The escargots and mushroom soup were our favorite! Just snails in a garlicky oily goodness 🤤 and a thick full creamy rich mushroomy soup is enough to make me miss the restaurant. Steak is good, of course, some steakhouses are good anywhere, but tender steak along with a side of fries, a salad, and a creamy side of mash potatoes? Sold! Needless to say, we unintentionally over-ordered for 2. But despite being full, we managed to finish all the tender beef! We will be back for you!

I loved this little jewel! Lovely place, great food and excellent service. We were a little rushed for time and had an early lunch here. I loved the decor and ambience of the Oyster Lounge as well as the Cafe Indochine. They even have separate rooms for private parties. I was suitably impressed with these rooms as well. I will definitely be repeating the experience when I visit again!

My husband and I booked this restaurant for our 5 year anniversary and had a wonderful evening! The staff were incredibly attentive and helped create a beautiful atmosphere. Rest assured the food is delicious, including the complementary bread to start. We were also delighted to receive a stunning anniversary dessert, accompanied by a lovely little speech from the staff to celebrate our marriage.

Good restaurant. I wouldn't recommend the burger as it was just ok. The duck liver was great although pricey. The lamb was the best dish. Had to take our some food as the portions were so much. They didn't let me take home the extra few pieces of bread, which makes me wonder if they just throw it away, which would be wasteful, or reuse it, which would be unsanitary.

Good food great taste. Nice place with nice service. Delicacy and mild taste. I love onion soup, salad, sea bass and escagot. Bread and butter are nice. Try everything!

If you're willing to pay top dollar for exquisite food, this is the place for you. These guys have been in business in Siem Reap for more than a decade and it's easy to see why. Their tuna maguro is pure heaven, their burgers are out of this world, their steaks sublime and everything else that comes out of their kitchen a superb work of passion.

It’s next to a big road which makes a lot of sound. We were seated next to the road. When we entered there were was only one other table right next to us. In the beginning there was normal music but it changed quickly to weird Korean pop rock music which was very loud. The waitress was quite slow and the food came out slowly as well. The beehive wasn’t crunchy it was very soggy. I also got the crab 🦀 rice noodles, it had a lot of shell in it and overall tasted shitty. The crab 🦀 looked like that as well. My husband had the vegetable curry which was really tasty. We had the dumplings as well I think you can get better at the street. The presentation of the food was really nice but the taste not. We prefer the latter to be better.

Cambodian cuisine in modern style. High level of service, good advice to choose the best type of meal. The dishes were tasty, portions of medium size. Artistic appearance of ordered meals. Chilling vibe. We paid for the meal by card.

Found this place because it was really close to our hotel. We were the only people there for lunch but I’m glad we stayed! We got the pomelo salad, dumplings with a beetroot purée and a veggie curry cake and they were all excellent! Beautifully presented too!

This is a hidden gem: it's not in the tourist center, but close to the Angkor National museum. The chef is award-winning, and the menu is very creative, while being reasonably priced (two main courses and two special juice mixes costed $20). On top of that they take credit cards. Our only regret was that we found it on our very last day in Siem Reap.

This place was totally amazing! Modern dishes with traditional khemer tastes and ingredients. The beet-galangal sauce for the fries was incredibly good. I also had the five spice pork belly noodles which was so delicious. We got to speak with the owner, and he was so friendly and welcoming. One of our most memorable meals from siem reap, don't miss it!

After researching the cooking classes in Siem Reap Pou Restaurant and Bar cooking class was highly recommended for an authentic class in Siem Reap traditional Khmer cuisine. I was picked up from my hotel in a TukTuk, then we went to the Phsar Leu Market, which was incredible. The class was well organised when we arrived with all the ingredients, equipment and utensils read to start the class. English was at a very high standard and everything was professionally and beautifully organised from start to finish. The food was fantastic, and so far it has been the culinary highlight of my trip to Siem Reap. I received the recipes via email to make again in the future. A well priced, value for money, thoughtful and beautiful experience at one of Siem Reaps most respected restaurants.

Wow!!!! I am Chef by myself and was looking around for a good Restaurant with reasonable prices... And I found it here ! Very friendly and warm Welcome, good and quick Service, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and the best of all: the Food 😋! Come here to try the Taste of Cambodia and the warm heartedly Residents ❤! The Food is cheap, for us Europeans, and the Quality " world-class" ! I definitely come back again. 👍

Was brought here by my driver before heading to Phnom Penh. Great mix of Khmer and western food selection. Prices were pretty reasonably priced. Food were plated nicely and tasted pretty good. Salad was a little too sour for me. Definitely need to be paired with the rice they serve you although we were not charged for the rice. They did say to charge another dollar for use of card. Overall a good experience.

- Service was very slow, we finished eating and we still haven’t got our soup. We ended up cancelling the soup. Took them - Deep fried crispy pork belly was not crispy at all and it was hard like a rock. - The Fried Seafood with Green Peppercorn was decent but portion were really small, only a few tiny shrimps and bits of calamari - The Deep Fried Shrimp with Breadcrumb was the only that stood out arriving piping hot - Overall: it look like a nice place to eat but the quality of the service and the food were just not there.

Gorgeous restaurant with amazing food!! I had the Amok with chicken. It was served in a coconut and was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! My kids had the spaghetti (of all things) and they said it was amazing. We also tried the Tom Yam soup, and sautéed morning glory, both were delicious!! Our driver brought us here after we visited Angkor Wat, the next day we asked him to bring us back because it was so good!! 😊 Also, shout out to all the staff who were so attentive and sweet! 🥰

Awesome place to try some Khmer food. Everything we had was delicious. The steamed fish was perfect. The recommended local soup was very tasty. Just about everything tasted good. The service was quick and attentive. The cost was around 95 USD for 5 of us having a lavish spread of food.

Our visit Cambodian meal, arranged by our guide after we settled into the hotel. It was late evening and we were famished. All 11 of us, 6 adults and 5 children. This restaurant looked posh and touristy-affluent like. The service was professional and polite. We shared a medley of dishes recommended. Curry chi pork - creamy and mildly spicy, khemer prahuk ling, frog roty - legs with red chilli powder and garlic, banana blossom salad - this was refreshingly cruncy, sweet and sour, kakor soup - loaded with blanced vege and a favourite with the kids and adults, seafood green pepper stirfry, braised tofu with mince pork and shrimp, fried eggplant and white rice - was refillable and so that was great! We had bottled water and my parents in law, a loth sweet dessert - jackfruit with green cendol with coconut milk and sugar. In all, a good first sit-down and dine-in experience to khemer cuisine. Likely toned down flavours for the western palate. But hygenic to international standards. Surely, there's more to explore in the more downtown restaurants, when one can stomach more.

Trust me, just go here. Amazing food, great people, and live (ambient) traditional music in the evenings. The staff was incredibly welcoming and sweet. Highly recommend the stir-friend morning glory (ask to replace pork with garlic if you’re a vegetarian), the dory fish with friend ginger, and the stir-friend yellow mango. Seriously, the flavors from these dishes are so fresh and vibrant that you won’t believe it. On top of this, they have great balcony tables that look out over the river, but avoid all the street noise. Cocktails are also solid, and during happy hour only $2 (normally $4). Try it out! We kept going back.

Interesting and informative stories about ancient Cambodian history were told in the form of dance. There was also a printed page of background stories to explain the individual scenes. I believe most of the employees were members of the disadvantaged community. We had an excellent unobstructed view while we dined from a multi-course meal. We were also able to order from a nice selection of bottled wines.

The food is expensive and not great. Small portions from the menu. Set menu also small portions. Out doors. Fans only. Lots of bugs. Hot and humid. Sent the plate back 3 times bc it was dirty. Ended up not getting one. The show was free. Dancing was good. Performers did well. But stage is old and run down. There are a lot of shows in the area so you have options besides this place.

"I went to this restaurant for breakfast and ordered pork noodle soup. When the food arrived, I was shocked. In the noodle bowl, there was only one small piece of pork and two pieces of bone. This was the most ridiculous breakfast I've had in my 30 years of eating breakfast. The restaurant owner offered no solution, just an apology. A bowl of noodles costs $3 at this restaurant. For that price, other restaurants offer much better food with acceptable flavor. However, this restaurant's $3 dish is not worth the price. They only gave me one piece of meat and two bones. They charged me the full $3. Everyone, please look at this picture and judge for yourself whether this dish is worth $3 or not?

What a great experience- to know the Cambodian culture & its food in one go. Wished that all tourists get this experience in every country. Got to taste a great set of traditional food while watching a No of the Cambodian dances - folk , ballet, traditional apsara dance in a capsular format . Well conceived & executed .. worthy of an experience 😊

A very nice place for love cultural show and dinner. The place is well renovated with a beautiful stage. The waiters' service were excellent. The cultural shows were interesting and enjoyable. One comment is that if the dance movements can be better coordinated and in tandem, it would be very professional. For food, I would only give 3 stars as the food portions were pretty small and not as tasteful as the many other Cambodian restaurants that I have tasted in the last few days.

A very nice restaurant with tasty Cambodian food. We can watch apsara dance while having dinner here. They provide course and the price is quite reasonable. If you are interested to watch traditional dance while enjoying local cuisine, you should definetely visit this restaurant. Really had a good time here.

The Old Wooden House is a charming little spot with quirky, interesting seating and a warm, relaxed vibe. A great place to pause for a cocktail (or two) and unwind. I’ll certainly be back. 5/5 stars.

Oohhh, D.Cookiemaw like this place, yes-yes! Place look unique. Me no know word for it... like a broken-up fortress, but clean! Me come just to stare at the walls and weird furniture. Worth the stomp-stomp just for the view. The cocktails here... they are strange, strong, and make D.Cookiemaw feel sparkly! Me sip and eyes go wide. Other places charge too many shiny coins for drinks that taste like muddy water. Here? Good price, reasonable for peon budget, and the juice is sweet and mighty. Me feel like mighty warchief with my glowy drink! The staff humies? Friendly! They no look scared of D.Cookiemaw's tusks. They talk and smile. Me feel safe to sit and grunt my orders. No pokey sticks or shouty voices! D.Cookiemaw give this spot four and a half crumbs out of five! Me come back for more colorful magic water. Next time, maybe me bring bigger mug! OM NOM!

Love love love the many different unique choices of cocktail, especially the khmer cocktails menu! Also the fun and creative ways of serving their drinks with khmer themed cups are sooo nice too. We ordered long island and they gave it to us in this teapot of our childhood 😂 and decoration is so nice, feels super nostalgic and a plus because the cats are super cute too! Been here for so many times and will definitely come again and again!!

Incredible! We did the cocktail class and it was simply a must do experience. Our host Sombo was incredibly knowledgeable about the local herbs, roots, fruits, and liquors we used and really explained each cocktail we made. We also ordered an appetiser that was delicious. We were served a welcome drink and then made 3 cocktails each so it was well worth the money.

⭐️The best cocktails in Siem Reap. Whenever I crave my whisky sour, this is the only that I go for it. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. Drinks are just amazing and guys, you may find it hard to find the entrance because it is small. But just follow the map, there is a small logo, just follow the entrance. I really like the authenticity of this place, including the decoration, the khmer herbal cocktails and the atmosphere. No complaints and highly recommend! So nice to just stay here and read a book alone (or with a friend of course). They also sell Siem Reap’s made gin here with all the herbs as its ingredients!

I would rate Amok at least Bib Gourmand Michelin. Fresh ingredients and carefully cooked result in perfectly tasty food. The food is simple, but so balanced and made with real talent. This restaurant is one head above the rest - in every detail I could feel personal touch from the Chef. Regretfully, the restaurant was almost empty, probably the location at the beginning of the Pub Street is not very suitable for this refined restaurant. Highly recommend

This place had amazing food, beautifully presented and tasty authentic dishes. They provide sampler platters to sample a number of Khmer dishes ... a great way to experience Cambodian food. The service was faultless with a cool hand towel offered at the seating and free banana chips and prawn fritters while we waited. The actual meals didn't take long to come. The prices were very reasonable as well. A must do for foodies who want to experience authentic Khmer.

We enjoyed our dinner here — the staff were really friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout. The dishes were beautifully plated with lots of colour and care in presentation. The flavours were fresh and authentic, though a couple of items just weren’t entirely to my personal taste. Still, a very pleasant meal overall with a lovely atmosphere. Worth visiting if you’d like to try a more refined take on local Cambodian cuisine.

Amok Restaurant is absolutely a 10/10 ⭐️ First, the team is fantastic: every single member gives you a warm welcome, and they really show how proud they are of their restaurant and the Cambodian cuisine. They are very polite, attentive, kind, and professional, and they give you an explanation of every dish that they bring to you. I really appreciate the manner my husband and I received. It felt like being at home. Secondly, the food was gorgeous. They brought 2 appetisers (on the house), one of them banana chips, which I loved, and the other one, if I don't remember wrong, some kind of crunchy fish cake, very nice. For starters, we had the chicken spring rolls, and for the main course, my husband had the chicken amok, and I tried the vegetables and tofu amok. As they specialise in Amok, I had high expectations, and they clearly surpassed them. The Amok was beautifully made: tasty, full of flavours, but also with the right balance of spices, and not heavy on the stomach. It came, of course, with steamed rice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic Amok. They also offer an Amok tasting dish, where you can try the different types of Amok they serve. Lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely too. The restaurant is decorated with taste, and it is a quiet and relaxing oasis among the craziness of Pub Street.

On our first night in Siem Reap, we chose to have dinner at Amok by Chef Kimsan, located on Angkor Pub Street. We opted for an outdoor table by the pedestrian street, enjoying our meal and cocktail while experiencing the lively crowd coming and going on the Pub Street. We really enjoyed this meal of local Cambodian cuisine and it was a great dining experience.

Negative reviews it seems comes from negative people. Restourant is great! Amazing ambience, lovely decore, pleasant atmosphere. Service is exceptional. Food was absolutely delicious. Presentation is creative. I enjoyed every bite of my dish. Now i am inspired to learn some of the Cambodian recipes that much impressive was the food. My husband totally shares my opinion. Wow, wow, wow. The food had all the tastes of Cambodia in a Michelin style. The staff were a joy, knowledgeable and attentive. They made you very special. I don’t eat meat and they went out of their way to substitute with fish to make dish equally enjoyable. You also get both main courses if you take a look at seasonal menu, so more than enough food. As others have said this would cost easily at least twice as much in UK. A must visit for a special occasion. Thank you to all the team at Embassy Khmer.

The place is still operating and is serving good food, BUT they don’t have an English menu. One waitress spoke some English so we managed to order lunch which was DELICIOUS. They have WiFi too so I used google translate to get some idea about the dishes. If you know Khmer food a bit and like it, you will enjoy it here.

As an expat living in Siem Reap for more than 1 year and trying as many restaurants as possible in that period, I can say that the local food here is truly excellent as well as great value for money. The food quality and overall ambiance is comparable with the most well-known expensive restaurants in the town - at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended for locals and tourists alike.

Food tasted good - quite similar to what you'd get from any other shop, but admittedly the charges are on the higher side (maybe because it's a nicer looking restaurant). The conversion rates here are at 4100 rather than the usual 4000. The waitress was very nice and gentle.

Great food, fast service and the waiter we had spoke excellent English. No air-conditioning that I could see but perfectly cool and well ventilated. They also have a massive range on their menu, so if you are looking for local or western they have a meal that could fit your taste

I had a wonderful first time at George's on my 3rd trip to Siem Reap. Wish I had discovered it sooner. Great from start to finish. Everyone gets a welcome shot of coconut rum - perfect. All the main dishes are nice sized portions and extremely affordable for the quality that you get. I especially loved the tomato coconut chicken dish, wish I had more time in SR to get it a second time!The selection of homemade Chilli dips and chutneys that accompany the dishes are also spectacular. Great desserts as well. This place makes me happy.

Excellent service, great ambiance and really heart-warming greetings by the chef himself to explain on the cuisine. They even gave us a free dessert and free rums because it was my boyfriend’s birthday. Tho the restaurant was crowded but the food served were really scrumptious. Definitely will return again.

Delicious and unique dishes. Love the cheese, matched with the selection of jams. Fish is fresh and nicely flavored. Beef with rice (bol renverse) is a nice Asian dish, and quite a big portion. Caramel samosas (coconut filling) is unusual but really nice. Staff is attentive and friendly. Good casual, just a bit upscale, vibes. Can get a bit busy when they are crowded. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

This is a hidden gem in central Siem Reap, a French Restaurant. Sebastian the owner proudly serves and interacts with the customers. I was greated very warmly and seated right away. They have outside and inside seating. Upon seating you are treated to a mini shot of Coconut Rum. My drink, Votay, refreshing with great flavor. For starter I had the Fromage Confiture; served with 6 kinds of homemade jam! Good choice. My entree, Vindail Fish; What a great dish!!.. perfectly balanced flavor, great taste, and so fresh tasting. For dessert, Gato D' Angkor; the Ricotta Gelato was yummy!!.. The food is priced exactly right, if you are a budget traveller this might not be your place. ..it was a great dining experience, superb food with excellent service. I would definitely return.

Fun dining experience! Chili Chutney and rum tasting plus distillery tour. Georges was a nice tour guide. He told us about the history of rum and rum and why its called a rhumerie. Strange spelling but was a nice history. The dinner was superb! I highly recommend this restaurant in Siem Reap for its brilliant idea. The dining experience was fantastic! randomly pick this restaurant and surprised by free shooters to start and end our dinner. start with coconut rum, it is pretty strong but i think tasty after taste. we have the tofu salad as starter and pork sausages with mashed potato for the main. Their famous homemade tofu are good in tofu flavored, however not smooth enough. as a tofu lover, they should used smooth kind tofu for the salad. Sausage texture and taste just like the chiangmai sausage style, full of meat but rough in texture. it comes with 6 diff chutney, red pineapple with pineapple chutney are the best if mixed together with sausages. we ended our meal by the main. two stars are for the service and shooters. after meal, we found it was high rated in tripadvisor and here. i’m not sure why, maybe we ordered the wrong food. as a travel and food blogger, i just list my point of views with no offense. i always tasted both chinese and japanese tofu, both cheap and expensive ones, i’m sure silk tofu is very smooth. sometimes bad comments is a big step of your future successful.

A restaurant with upscale ambiance catering to the tourists of Siam Reap. The food is a bit toned down, but well prepared and delicious. Try the fresh rolls and shrimp soup for starter. The lobster special, vegetarian amok and pork wrapped in leaf for main course. They have a good selection of desserts, try the mango sticky rice and baked taro root (so yummy).

Beautiful setting with all outdoor seating. Very good food and wait staff that all spoke English. Started with Spring Rolls and tomato & basil bruschetta, both very good. next we had shrimp with rice, chicken satay with very good French fries, and then grilled fish with a green vegetable, all very good . For desert, a simple fruit plate. I highly recommend Viroth's.

If you have read any of my reviews, you would know that I am a huge green fish curry fan. Those guys have one of the top 3 me and my boyfriend have ever had. Coconutty, plenty fish inside and really aromatic.We tried the spring rolls, they made us only veggie ones when we asked to, the fried rice and pork ribs. The white wine by glass is not my favorite but that's pretty much my problem. Kitchen seems sparkling clean from the glimpse I got passing by. Service is also good. I have a thing about waiters touching my plate directly on top and leaving fingerprints and also putting ice in my wine without dipping the pinces, but food was so tasty I somehow didn't get much annoyed by those things.

4 stars for the food, 3 for the service. I didn't even receive my food until my girlfriend finished eating hers. Asked for appetizer first, it came with her meal. Red wine was cold. The food itself was good, nothing great. The place looks upscale and charges a bit for it, but not worth it. Better places to eat nearby.

We stayed at the Viroth's hotel and went to the restaurant on thier recommendation and our experience at the hotel. We were not disappointed. Authentic Cambodian (Kymer) cuisine. Everything was faultless. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food was amazing and very ambient environment. Highly recommended.

We had the chicken pandan, pork skewers, cambodian steak and a few other things. All very good. Service was friendly. We also had a 15% discount for as long as we stay at Viroth's hotel nearby.

The venue is beautiful, the show/dancers are awesome! Loved it BUT the room is just a banquet hall, not conducive to a performance. Half the attendees show up late so they are being served and eating during show. Noisy, rude tourists talking, watching videos on their phones during the show. Ironically, the loudest tourists weren't speaking English! Go figure!

I just had the most...enlightening dining experience at Chrystal Angkor Restaurant! I use the term 'restaurant' loosely, because let's be real, this place is less about the food and more about the entertainment. Think of it as a tourist trap, but in a charming, 'I-know-I'm-being-scammed-but-I'm-okay-with-it' kind of way. The evening's entertainment included traditional national dances, which were...interesting. I mean, it's not like you're watching a Broadway show or anything, but hey, it's a fun way to spend an evening. The dancers were, shall we say, enthusiastic, but some of them seemed to be struggling with the whole 'rhythm' thing. One poor soul was so off-beat that I was tempted to get up and show them how it's done (just kidding, I have two left feet)! As for the food, well...it looked nice, I'll give them that. The presentation was lovely, and the service was quick. But, alas, the taste just didn't live up to the visuals. It was a bit of a letdown, but I wasn't expecting a culinary masterpiece, either. All in all, I'd give Chrystal Angkor Restaurant 3 stars out of 5. It's not a horrible experience, but it's not something I'd repeat either. If you're looking for a fun, cheesy evening of touristy entertainment, then this might be the place for you. Just don't say I didn't warn you

Menu: • Adults: Salad, soup, main course, and dessert. • Children: One main course and dessert. We dined with five children, one of whom, aged 10, was disappointed to receive the children’s menu. We had to order an adult meal for her. Recommendation: Discuss the menu options with your children beforehand to set expectations. Food and Service: • The dishes were flavorful, and the service was attentive and professional. • The dessert included fruits and a small piece of cake. The cake had a pronounced egg flavor, which none of us, adults or children, enjoyed. • Beverages (water, juices, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks) are charged separately. For instance, a Long Island Ice Tea cocktail cost $5.50. Overall, our visit to Crystal Angkor Restaurant left a positive impression. We recommend it for those interested in experiencing Khmer culture.

It is a good restaurant with good food and good service and also with a varied show of folk dances while eating if these show can be very slow show if you are tired. They have the local beer also.

Food and service were great but most of all I enjoyed the dancing performance. I like my entertainment and this one was very enjoyable.

The service and atmosphere of the restaurant are great, but the food is an issue. I’ve been here twice. The first time, I ordered chicken with basil and rice. The taste was good, but it was really hard to eat because they overcooked it, and many parts were inedible, so I had to play puzzles with my food. The second time, I ordered grilled chicken, but it was a bit too tough, and the vegetables were the same. The price for the food is certainly not great. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner, but it might be nice for a quick coffee.

Nice restaurant right in Pub street, not very busy and generally good atmosphere and very spacious and good décor. The food was really good too. We had a Fish Amok, Hokkien Mee and Beef Lok Lak. The dishes were good. We ran into this restaurant with affordable prices as we were walking the area around Pub Street. Service was really friendly. Good place to watch what’s happening in the street. Good choice of Cocktails.

It was the worst restaurant I have seen on Pub Street. When I sat down, the waiter asked me if I wanted cold water, which is normally free in all the restaurants I have ever sat in. Then when the bill came, they charged $4.50 for the sparkling water. The price was insane, and the worst part was that they did not give a heads-up that they would charge such an exorbitant price. Food was far below compared to other restaurants there.

Great place to sit and have a drink, but I wouldn't recommend eating here. The bread for the Bruschetta was stale and very hard. The chicken Loklak tasted very much like fish. The salmon salad was warm, and also tasted very fishy. The fried chicken burger was excellent. The staff were very nice, although the service could be improved. The atmosphere is great, the interior decorations are nice and not something you see everywhere.

First meal in Siem Reap. Great location on Pub Street with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is massive and had lots of local options in addition to a few western entrees as well. The vegetarian spring rolls were amazing and the service was great.

I had a pleasant experience; came across this hotel on Agoda (last minute trip) and the price was affordable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, which made my stay much better. The rooms were clean, cozy, and simple. The bathroom added an unexpected charm to the room; very quirky in contrast to the beds. Initially, I was expecting a large pool, however, the pictures were definitely quite deceiving. The pool was small, unkempt, and dark at night as opposed to the photos shown on the website. Although disappointing, it was forgivable. The owner plays chess and there’s chess boards for anyone interested. Overall, I had a comfortable stay!

It's a really nice place to stay in Siem Reap. I would have stayed the second time, but the room was double booked as Agoda didn't alert their system fast enough. That's disappointing, but considering I booked it on the same day, it was okay. The location is perfect, close to everything. The room is nice and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in Siem Reap, not far from pub street and with amazing, friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, there is a clean swimming pool and a bar for having coffee. The hotel organizes Angkor and surroundings tours and helps you with everything you need and want to know. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby but it's still not noisy in the room.

Nice place to stay near the city centre (a few minutes to walk to Pub Street). The rooms are pretty large and quiet, the staff is wonderfully helpful (can arrange anything you need), there is a swimming pool you will definitively appreciate in the evening after visiting the Angkor site. Moreover, the sympathetic and talkative French host prepares delicious breads and croissants for your breakfast. Also, a lot of good restaurants near the hotel.

Clean Rooms and Washrooms. Cleaned Daily when you're out. Powerful bidet and shower. Water gets hot too. Safe in room with lock provided. Recommend you bring your own lock. Comfortable bed, clean sheets and good powerful Air Conditioning. They provide a universal power bar for travellers. Truly awesome. Quiet aside the roosters calling during the daytime. It's located in a great area too. Close enough to the infamous Pub Street and far away from the noise. The street itself is full of awesome restaurants and shops. They all are better prices than the main tourist area like the Old Market. Nice clean pool and bar up at the front. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Someone is there 24 hours. They speak English very well. Get your tours through them. They're cheaper than the ones on the street. Biggest issue is the WiFi. It's very slow.

The best stunning Italian pizza that I had in the entire Asia. Honest opinion! I will say that it was even better comaring to pizzas that I had in whole Italy. Highly recommended! Very nice and pleasent place. The dough is delicious and you can expect the good amount of ingredients on it. The cold beer is also a plus ;) The only one thing that I would suggest to improve here is staff as they need a proper training as they lack of the basic behaviour for example: once the waiter is bringing new glass of beer, he should take the empty one or another example - plates and cutlery should be served first and not the dish which you cannot eat with your bare hands and you have to ask for a plate....

Good spot with a mix of Khmer and Italian food. Just off of pub street, makes it a good place to eat without pounding music. 50 cent drafts.

Calzone is a must try in this place. Very affordable price and big portions of good food. One of the best I’ve in Siem Reap. Air con space available and WiFi. Also kind staff.

Good restaurant near bar street and the night market. Nice relaxed atmosphere, clean surroundings, free wifi and cool air con to help on the hot days. I had the beef lok lak which was great, spring rolls which were good and some ice cold beer. Prices are very reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful

This is a wholesome and enjoyable experience. Adrian was a fantastic guide for the day. The team are friendly and helpful from pickup through the market visit (an authentic local market with no tourists) and support for cooking. And the menu is soooo good. 50% of the fees go to the orphanage, a wonderful way to give back while enjoying your holiday.

Where do we start. Mr Ben you’re an absolute wonderful human being. This cooking class is not only amazing but helps fund orphaned and disadvantaged children. Offering them hope, education and a safe place. Mr Ben is passionate about his cooking as he is about saving these children. If you’re looking for an authentic experience that goes even further than just learning about local cuisine. This is it. Hands down one of the best experiences ever. Highly highly recommend.

This was an incredibly special experience. We started with a trip to the local markets to see all of the amazing fresh produce and learn about the food we would cook. When we got to the venue there was a traditional Cambodian wedding taking place and we were invited to meet the bride and groom and their families. They were very generous and welcoming and the wedding was beautiful. We then spent the morning cooking some Traditional Wood fired changkran stove. Our teacher Tuy was very knowledgeable, kind, helpful and patient with us. For the level of the experience, I would expect to pay 3x what this cost in Australia. Don't hesitate to book.

My wife and I did the cooking class with the morning market visit. T was our guide for the day. He picked us up promptly at 7:30 AM with a tuk tuk driver to head to the morning market. He provided cold waters and taught us about Cambodian history and explained a lot of the sights to see on the way out of town towards the morning market. Once we got to the morning market T walked us around and showed us all of the ingredients the Cambodian people use to prepare their traditional foods. We also tried cricket, beetle, meal worms, and lotus flower seeds. All of them were great! After the market we headed back to the cooking class. T had us prepare the pumpkin dessert to start things off because that required the most time to cook and it would be ready by the time we’d be done with the rolls and amok. The dipping sauce with the chili peppers were great! Next we made Chicken Amok which was my favorite. We hand ground the Amok paste which was more difficult than I had imagined but well worth the hard work. Folding the banana leaf bowl was fun too! T showed us around the property while we waited for the Amok and pumpkin dessert to finish. We got to meet a couple of the cows and one of the kittens named “Chicken”. T also took time to explain Ben, the owner, story which was fascinating. All of the work that Ben has done for the Cambodian people is heart warming and honorable. Such a cool story that a young boy trying to run into the Tomb Raider film crew to practice his english has spawned an organization that touched so many lives is truly amazing. After the food was done we ate the results of our own work which was fantastic. This was both my wife and I first time having Amok and we both loved it. The pumpkin dessert was a nice way to finish the meal as well. T was very hands on and was a great teacher. He is certainly a very skilled chef. He spoke great English and taught us a few words in Cambodian as well. They emailed us the recipes so we can try at home and said to reach out if there’s anything we can’t find and need to substitute which was nice. Overall a great experience and I recommend choosing Countryside Cooking Class because not only is it a great experience it supports a great cause. Thanks again we loved it!!

After some research this was a no brainer. One of best experiences in Siem reap. You are collected from you're hotel and taken thru one of the local markets. This was nearly an hour and Ben was full of local knowledge, well worth the time. Onto their residence and you are shown how to prepare 3 courses of traditional Khmer food. Ben had excellent presentation and demonstration and I could not recommend more highly, there was no pressure at any time. Usually the maximum people is 6 to 8, but coming into low season mid April we we fortunate enough for private lesson. As Ben is also professional guide you may catch him around the temples as a private guide, his English is excellent and you would not be disappointed. Lastly as profits help support the orphans at the residence this was a great choice to make Thankyou Ben

A great introduction to Cambodian food ingredients and cooking local dishes. Ben, a qualified Khmer Chef, gave us a great overview of his local food market, able to share (in fluent English) information about various fruits vegetables and other ingredients. We then headed back to the cooking school site, and were guided through 3 dishes...banana flows chicken salad, coconut milk custard steamed in pumpkin, and traditional chicken amok. A great hands on day. All of this to support local kids in need, it is a worthwhile morning or afternoon out

Ben’s countryside cooking class is not only an excellent and authentic cooking class - it is also an important social project. After Ben and his driver picked us up at our hotel, we set course for a local market half an hour from Siem Reap. Ben took us around the stalls, explaining what is what, how it’s all used and what it tastes like. We were the only tourists around there and the people were very friendly. Then we arrived at the cooking school, which is also the site of Ben’s social project: he cares for 15 orphans and helps 68 children get proper education. It’s amazing work and it is overly clear how invested Ben is in this. He invited two of the girls to come practise their English with us. They were absolutely charming, and very motivated to learn. We learned to make banana blossom salad, vegetarian (on my request) amok and a dessert with fresh coconut milk and eggs in a pumpkin. Everything was delicious and Ben answered all of our questions. Ben then dropped us off at our hotel, and we talked some more about his project. It’s a touching story. We’re so happy to have been able to contribute a little - and to have learned more about Khmer cuisine and culture. This is an experience we’ll never forget. We definitely recommend it. Best curry I had in Siem Reap - both very flavorful, both on the thicker side as opposed to being thinner and soupier. Tends to be more akin to Thai restaurants, in that the portions are just perfect for sating your appetite.

We got a veggie curry and amok, with a banana soup for after. The dessert you have to try we haven’t seen it anywhere else except cambodia! Service was lovely and massive portions. Everything comes with rice

The best Amok we had in Cambodia and the Fresh Spring rolls (summer rolls) were amazing. The papaya salad was also fresh and yummy. A definite visit when you are in Siem Reap.

I came here as it was near my hostel and I saw the reviews and the amok fish did not disappoint!! So yummy, big portion and great price, will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing meal at Madame Sros! The food was fantastic, and the dumpling soup was absolutely incredible—highly recommended!

I'm so glad I found this place. Madam sros is so patient and nice, was happy to help me with the Khmer crepe recipe I wanted because it was that good😂 The salad was also great, simple but the seasoning was perfect that I didn't want it to end. And the crepe was 10/10.contains coconut creme and turmeric, filled with veggies... can't wait to go back just for this one 🙏🏼❤️ the place is almost always empty, wish more people would know about it

Delicious, fresh, flavorful food with friendly service. We highly recommend the dumplings which were homemade and the papaya salad. Great soft drinks and 50 cent draft beer as well. Not much more you can ask for!

Four of us did this cookery class. It was really well organized and a lot of fun. Firstly we had a little tour of the market which was so interesting. We each made 3 dishes which we got to eat at the end It was really good value for money and they really fitted a lot in. I would definitely recommend.

First time taking cooking with my dear friend. The instructor was so nice and patient with our little cooking skills. We doing a small group cooking class but since there is no other joining it like a private one. The cooking menu was 3 dishes, start with visiting old market and we check all the ingredients and vegetables that we about to use to cook. Highly recommended for cooking class in town and value of money.

Fantastic experience. The ladies all spoke great English, gave great instruction and we all felt like we achieved something great by the end. The kitchen was really well kept, everything was clean and of a high standard. It's a family business that supports local vendors. They also grow their own herbs and vegetables in the garden. Would highly recommend!

We do vegetarian / vegan cooking classes in many Asian countries and what I loved especially about this one was that our chef Sam An showed us very patiently and thoroughly how to prepare the food and that we served the dishes with so much care about a tasty and beautiful look. This cooking class is also a great way to dive into Khmer culture. Thank you!

This was such a great experience! There’s a lot of options to choose from in the menu and the chef/teacher was just the sweetest. She was very patient and explained about the technique and Khmer ingredients both in the market and the kitchen. We were a group of 6 people and the teacher succeeded to guide us all through a starter, main course and desert by our own choosing. Afterwards we had a nice dinner all together and tried the many different courses - there was so much food that we couldn’t finish it all. Very great experience and evening all in all. I’ll give the cooking class my highest recommendations.

Today, we had a great experience doing a Khmer cooking lesson where we each produced four delicious dishes. Then, we ate them. The experience also includes visits to a local market and a kitchen garden. The facilities are superb. Soyra, the project lead, directed me, my husband, and a young couple from the Netherlands through our dishes knowledgeably and enthusiastically. Highly recommend.

Nice couple of hours cooking 🧑🏼‍🍳 You prepare a starter, main, and dessert of your choice with vegetarian options available and the food is so yummy ! Ended up being just myself and my friend so we got a private class:) Lovely teacher too.

Beautiful food in a beautiful setting! Everything was fresh and tasty and the service came with a huge smile. The outside area is really lovely with a pond but beware of the mosquitos out there!

Really fantastic Khmer food, great atmosphere with a large ornamental pond. Great service, and prices no different to any lesser establishment. $25 excluding tip for a meal for two (Signature Fish Amok, and Ban Hoy) including a large beer each. Can't fault it.

It's a traditional Khmer dish restaurant near the town. The place is comfortable and the food is so delicious that we had taken three meals there during our five days stay in Cambodia. The most delicious dish we found is fried chicken. Fully recommended.

Tasty restaurant, but I'm not sure whether the price is reasonable for all dishes. For example, it costs 5 USD for a plate of fried noodle/ rice which is relatively high compared to other restaurants. The waitress doesn't know English and let me wait for a great while to be seated ..

This place is perfect if you want to try real khmer food avoiding the expensive and touristic restaurants in the city centre of Siem Reap. The staff is kind and friendly, they really want you to have a good experience. We had grilled squid, luk lak beef, fish with mango dip, some fried vegetables, all the products they use are fresh, cut and cooked at the moment (you can see the kitchen through a window) everything we ate was really tasty.

Nice small place. Personal and friendly service as the owner is a chef himself and he would come to greet every table. Food is tasty Khmer and price is reasonable too.

I been 2 times in this fabulous restaurant, the food is incredibly good, really interesting all combination of flavour, first time in cambodia but sure this restaurant respect the culture and Cambodian Culture. Well done, hope to have another chance to be there again

Very good restaurant with a khmer discovery mix plate. A bit out of town but easily accessed.
