Southern restaurant (US)
American restaurant
Dish is a no-frills eatery in Plaza Midwood that offers Southern comfort food with Mexican and Cajun influences. One of their signature dishes, the chicken and dumplings, is actually more like a hearty chicken noodle soup served with a fresh-baked biscuit and deviled egg. Another must-try is the shrimp and grits, featuring shrimp in creole cream sauce with wilted spinach and andouille sausage on top of grits.
Can we say quaint with a touch of retro when describing the decor of the place? Mismatched chairs and tables add to the charm. Spacious, yet has the cozy feel of home. Guy Fieri has left his mark on the wall as he has visited the establishment twice. Now, let's talk about the food...comfort food with a twist! They took a comfy food like meatloaf and jazzed it up! It was one of the best I ever had. Wine, beer, and spirits served here to compliment the food. Looking forward to returning to sample some other menu items that were tantalizing. Free deviled eggs and biscuits were offered to accompany the meal.

I love Dish! It’s a Charlotte/Plaza classic. Their menu is diverse and fairly priced, and has a good selection of very delicious vegan/vegetarian options for those who need them. The staff is always very kind and accommodating and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I love the unique decorations on the walls as well. My fiancé and I also ordered late night takeout one night recently and it was well packaged and delicious.

I Doordashed the food & I left a review there and had to make a Google review as well to let those who know real country flavorful food to not get the Country Fried Steak , Mashed potatoes (unless you like sweet mashed potatoes and gravy) or those smoked Lima beans ! I ate the country fried steak but it wasn’t something I’d get again from here ever . The potatoes I threw away & the Lima beans. I don’t know what that was but that was a complete no ! The biscuit was good & the deviled eggs were basic , definitely was not made with love. Some may like it but I’m from SC and this would not fly at all down there. I hate to bad mouth someone’s food but I have to be honest so others won’t waste their money as I did. Hopefully if you sit in the restaurant the customer service makes up for the food. This is definitely not for people who enjoys real flavor.
Amereia P — Google review
Cool spot. Clean building but musty building smell. Everyone was very friendly but the service was a little bit slower. I loved the orange juice and it came in a glass bottle. Only downside is I kept spilling it. We got the Carolina breakfast it came out pretty quick. Unfortunately it had the wrong egg but they fixed it immediately. Grits were very creamy the sausage gravy was just ok. The Gravy was light on sausage but ok. Something was just missing flavor wise The hash was extremely garlicky(not necessarily a bad thing). The Biscuit was buttery good Pillsbury reminiscent I think the platter needed cheese somewhere. Bacon was delicious but undercooked. Overall the place was eclectic.

Some of the best service I have had in Charlotte for 5 years that I've been here. Ciara and Casey make the place feel like home. Nini and nay make he kitchen taste like a cloud and heaven. The fried rice with pot roast is literally out of this world. Don't take my word for it go and taste it. They are always attentive and for a dive bar always equipped to not only handle but have the staff to get things done. I adore this place for making it feel like had somewhere to unwind when I felt the world was against me. So please check it out.
Felipe L — Google review
A fun dining establishment, we enjoyed the originality of Dish accompanied by excellent service. Regrettably, the spicy chicken and dumplings are no longer offered, despite remaining on the online menu. While disappointed, we were assured that this was because the product had become unreliable, so kudos to management for updating their menu accordingly. The cajun meatloaf was an interesting twist on traditional meatloaf and was enjoyable, if not overly memorable. 4/5, we may return.

I rarely leave reviews, but my recent experience at this restaurant was so disappointing and concerning that it demands attention. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional from the start. The server who initially took our order never checked back on our table, and we were left waiting for over 30 minutes for a simple cheeseburger. When I finally inquired about our order, another server—who appeared to also be the bartender—said it was “lost in the shuffle,” then proceeded to add that it would have taken that long anyway. Her tone was condescending and dismissive, as if she was doing us a favor by even responding. What made this worse was the way she carried herself—her slight attitude and sense of entitlement suggested she felt she could speak to us this way because we were the only people of color in the restaurant. While other patrons, all of whom were non-minorities, received attentive service, friendly conversation, and prompt check-ins, our table was ignored completely. No one offered us drink refills or even acknowledged my wife. The difference in treatment was stark, uncomfortable, and unacceptable. As the only person of color in the room, I felt discriminated against. This is not an accusation I make lightly, but it was clear from the behavior of the staff that we were treated differently. This type of conduct has no place in any establishment—especially in 2025. This will be the last time I dine here, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously. Discrimination—whether intentional or subtle—cannot be tolerated. To any person of color considering visiting this restaurant, I advise caution. Businesses must be held accountable for the actions and attitudes of their employees

I love dish! My favorite meal is the pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy. Tastes like home cooking and is reasonably priced. Also love that they’re open late since I often work late. Every time I go folks are kind in the store. Highly recommend if you’ve had a long day and just want to relax with some good food.

Pinky's Westside Grill is a local American chain in Charlotte known for its casual, offbeat space and delicious food. It's a popular spot to dine like a local, offering some of the best burgers in town, along with fried pickles and Cheerwine pound cake for dessert.
We ate at Pinky’s based on the good reviews and we’re not disappointed. The service was literally the best I have ever seen. Although you may have a waiter assigned to your table, if any other waiter sees a need… they just jump in and handle it with a smile. Service is wicked fast. We liked the pimp n fries and the white trash burger best. They also had a nice selection of drinks and draft beer. It was a great meal overall. We’ll definitely be back.

Another Uber Eats from: Pinky’s Westside Grill. Absolutely recommend their food! As you can see, I tried a variety of items. Everything was excellent. I have to admit one of my favorites - other than the shrimp - was definitely the crab hush puppies! If you do the onion straws, it’s probably best eating them fresh on site so that they are crispy. They were understandably softer, but the flavor was good. Rueben Dog, Falafel, Skrimpz, White Trash Burger. Highly recommend giving them a try.
Robin C — Google review
Pinky's Grill was good. The burgers were on point!! I had a double patty (no smash burgers here) with FRESH jalapeños ketchup & mayo. I saved 1 patty and bun for later as it was enough for 2 meals and the fresh cut waffle fries were crispy. The drink menu not my favorite as I prefer bar drinks not ready-made pour cocktails. I requested Tequlia sunshine & it was juicy!! My daughter has a Shirley Temple with pretty halloween garnish with a Salmon ceaser salad wrap. Total meal was about $50 for drinks & meal.

Pinky’s Westside Grill ; Charlotte, NC When the hotel recommended Pinky’s Westside Grill; I expected a good meal ; what I found was an experience. This is where classic diner soul meets a playful; new wave spirit; a place alive with energy and color. Inside; about 50–60 guests can settle in under the hum of conversation and laughter. Step outside; and 20–30 more seats wait beneath six whirling ceiling fans that chase away the Carolina heat; replacing it with the gentle coolness of an early autumn evening. The menu reads like a comedy act you can eat; with names like The Jive Turkey and White Trash daring you to order just for the story you’ll tell later. I couldn’t resist the Painkiller ; a drink spun from coconut and pineapple ; smooth, sweet, and as refreshing as a breeze off the coast. Pinky’s hums with life on a Friday night; the backdrop of 80s and 90s tunes adding to the easy rhythm of the evening. Friends gather over burgers; families share plates; and newcomers ; like me ; feel instantly folded into the mix. I arrived by Uber; but spotted room for about 10–15 cars for those driving in. The staff greeted me with warmth; the waitress moving with a perfect balance of efficiency and charm; never missing a beat. If you want a place where the food has personality; the air carries a pulse; and the night feels young no matter your age; Pinky’s Westside Grill is calling your name. Two thumbs up; and a smile that lasts long after you’ve left.

A nice bit of down to earth fun and nostalgia with good food, large drink menu and friendly clientele. As recommended by Luis, I had the special tacos, which today were ancho BBQ chicken tacos. The flavor was powerful and delicious. Multiple napkins were needed and worth it. They were quite busy for late afternoon but the wait for food wasn't too bad. The staff was courteous but moving around at a fast pace and trying to keep up with the demand so don't expect a lot of chit chat. The beer menu and drink options were vast and well priced. I ended up having good conversations with other patrons and everyone was welcoming and laid back. I recommend for friends that want to have a meal with great food and drinks that doesn't break the bank and great atmosphere.

Fabulous spicy Bloody Mary. The burger was amazing. The corn dog battered fried skrimps were incredible. You HAVE to get their waffle fries with pimento cheese on top. Everything was awesome! Great service, as well!

This place has two locations. I went to the one near the west side of Charlotte. First off discounts,, military ID 10% 33% in uniform for like some of the first responders. This restaurant gives you like an island vibe. They do serve mixed 🍹 drinks, although I didn’t have one. My friend got a salad with chicken on it and crispy fried onions. It was like the freaking best! I do recommend it. I got the steak sub with mushrooms. I would give it a 6 out of 10. It was cooked great and looked good but didn’t have much flavor at all. I probably wouldn’t order it again. I also tried the fried shrimp. It was fried perfectly but again it lacked flavor also,,(to me.)The restaurant has a nice vibe to it. I would suggest anyone to try it. I can see a nice time could be had here. They have an outside deck and inside and outside bar. I met the manager by the name of Analie. She was a kind warm person. Parking could be kind of difficult in this area, but they did say it was a parking lot on the side of the restaurant this kind of hidden, but it also is free.

Amazing burger! I got the mammoth Ding dong burger and pimpin fries and couldn't even finish it. Service was phenomenal, no table is set f9r 1 wait staff, if someone was on the clock and passed me they made sure I was good. Drink never ran empty. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

The Cajun Queen is a popular dining spot in Charlotte, known for its delicious Cajun cuisine and lively atmosphere. Housed in a restored building, the restaurant offers a charming ambiance with first-floor and rooftop terraces where guests can enjoy their meals. Live jazz music adds to the vibrant experience, making it a must-visit for both food and music enthusiasts.
I have finally found a piece of New Orleans. The food, the flavors, and the atmosphere transports guests from the cozy southeast to the unique vibe of the old French deep south. We were greeted by a racially ambiguous host, which, (if you know N.O.), made the experience even more authentic. The seating is ok, but the live band was amazing. Cajun Queen's menu is straight and to the point and very easy to navigate. Our server was the best, and food was right on time. I can't wait until my next visit to the Cajun Queen. Also, I highly recommend the shrimp scampi. You won't regret it.

My husband and I came for dinner and it would absolutely wonderful. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the drinks were all great. I had the duck and my husband had blackened catfish and chicken and the red beans and rice. Oh and the bread pudding, my husband loved.

My first time there. Having dinner with family. The atmosphere, live Jazz trio and food was amazing. I will definitely go back again. Great place for a date!

I have dined here on two occasions. Each meal has been excellent. They serve real cajun dishes that are delicious. I especially enjoyed the BBQ shrimp very flavorful with just the right amount of heat. I ordered the blacken shrimp and grits with sausage. It was so good and with large portions.

The fried oysters are SO delish! The pork chops are really juicy and flavorful! French Quarter Coffee is okay…may be the beer is better. The place is super cute and smiley staff!!!

We had such a great girls night! It’s a very laid back cozy vibe with live music. The drinks were very good we ordered the hurricane, 7th street stumbler, swamp water, and the planters punch! For appetizer we ordered the fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, the Cajun fried oysters, Crawfish Etoufee, and Seafood Gumbo. For our meals we got the New Orleans Platter, Shrimp and Grits, and Fried Catfish. Last but not least for dessert we had Pecan Pie, Oreo Cheesecake, Cookie Pie, and Bread Pudding! Everything was delicious we can’t wait to come back!

We went to the restaurant for my father’s 80th birthday. The ambiance was great we listened to a live music as we dined. Our server was cordial. The owner of the establishment checked in with us.

I had an incredible dinner last night here. The food was jam packed full of delightful Louisiana creole flavor and is the best I've had outside of New Orleans. The atmosphere in the second floor outdoor seating was very nice as well. I had a Key Lime Martini, Fried Oysters, the Shrimp, Crawfish, and Chicken Étouffée, and took home some bourbon pecan pie and all of it was incredible. I will certainly be back next time I'm looking for dinner in Elizabeth. My dad had the Shrimp and Grits with blackened shrimp and only had great things to say about that as well. The owner also came by to check every table on the outdoor deck. This is a 10/10.

Vietnamese restaurant
Asian restaurant
Lang Van is a charming Vietnamese restaurant located in Charlotte, known for its delicious noodles and soups. The owner, Dan Nguyen, is beloved in the community and is recognized for her passion for serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Despite facing financial difficulties in 2020, the restaurant received overwhelming support from the locals. Lang Van offers a cozy, family-owned atmosphere where customers feel like they're visiting a relative's home. The menu features over 130 items including pho, vegetarian dishes, and yellow pancakes.
Amazing Pho and Great Atmosphere! I visited Lang Van for the first time in Charlotte, and it was an excellent experience. I ordered the Pho, and the broth was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The portion size was generous, and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe with lots of personality on the walls, and you can feel the family-oriented atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Charlotte, this is the place to go. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Thank you Google for being spot on with the reviews. This place was very good! The manager lady was quite aggressive but service was good and the food was very tasty. I ordered the shrimp & crab noodle soup with beef broth there were a total of 6 pieces of meat in the dish. 3 shrimp 3 pieces of imitation crab. My bf had the house special and it had 3 pieces of shrimp 😭 I know stuff is high but 3 shrimp is pretty wild. All items were reasonably priced.
Ne'kea — Google review
Saw this place with good ratings and wanted to check it out before leaving Charlotte. The ambiance and decor seemed very fitting for an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. They had a lot of options from different regions that you don’t normally see at every restaurant. Our checked on us frequently and helped answer some questions. I had to the Vietnamese coffee because it’s the best. We also shared the fresh spring rolls, beef pho and broken rice with pork chop and egg quiche. Spring rolls weren’t the best, it barely had vermicelli noodles in it and mostly veggies. The sauce was mostly hoisin and didn’t have that distinct peanut flavor that I’m used to. The pho was lacking a bit of depth in the broth although the noodles and meat were cooked well. I think what I enjoyed the most was the rice dish with pork chop. While I do think the food is authentic, I did find it lacking in some flavor on some of the dishes.
Nina C — Google review
Absolutely LOVE this place! The atmosphere is amazing, the customer service is top tier, and the food? Hands down the best I’ve had in Charlotte! Every dish is packed with flavor — so fresh, so delicious. I’ve brought so many friends and family here, and not once has it ever disappointed. A special shoutout to Lam, who has been my server every time — she’s full of energy, incredibly sweet, and makes you feel like part of the family. Her service always elevates the experience even more! If you’re in Charlotte or even just visiting, this place is a must. I recommend it to everyone I know. It’s a 10/10 across the board!

Lang Van in Charlotte is an absolute treasure for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is outstanding, rich, aromatic broth with perfectly cooked noodles and generous, tender cuts of meat. Every dish bursts with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the service is warm and welcoming, making you feel like a regular from your very first visit. Cozy, unpretentious, and consistently excellent. Lang Van is a must-visit for pho lovers and anyone craving a true taste of Vietnam in the Queen City.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is incredible, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend you try it out - you won’t be disappointed!
Julian ( — Google review
Place was small, looks family-run, crowded with a line when we arrived around 7:30pm on a Tuesday. We were greeted by friendly staff, waited for few mins, then walked to our table. Food was decent but it’s the exceptional service that makes the place special. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Everyone was attentive; it felt like arriving at a relative’s home for dinner rather than a restaurant. It seems most guests there were regulars. The staff and customers were like friends, hugging and talking intimately. The lady owner, Dan, was energetic, professional, radiated genuine friend’s vibes. The restaurant walls were filled with Holiday and greeting cards from their beloved guests. It was definitely one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had, especially for a small mom & pop eatery. Definitely reception as a go-to for Charlotte.
Karina T — Google review
As a well travelled foodie- Lang Van is a disappointment. After seeing that they were voted best Vietnamese in charlotte- my friends and I went to try it out. And first red flag was there were no Vietnamese customers. So we will obviously knew this place would be catered to non-Asian. Yes they’re nice but the food was awful. Everything was sweet. Pho tasted just straight MSG and nothing herbaceous. After talking to other customers who told us the owner back story being the original Vietnamese owners and her family built this place from the ground up. My friends and I founded out that was a lie. Our Vietnamese friend told us that the original owners who actually built this place with good back then sold it and opened up Ben Thanh. So not only it’s not good now but using a fake story to lure people in?? Sorry, no matter how good customer service- food was extremely overrated

Napa on Providence is a charming bistro in Charlotte that captures the essence of Napa Valley with its delightful cuisine and an extensive selection of Californian wines. The restaurant offers a lovely patio for outdoor dining. It's known for serving delectable Napa Valley wines and hosting special events like Thanksgiving dinners, offering both dine-in and to-go options. The menu features dishes like vegetable frittata, catering to various dietary preferences. Customers can also enjoy brunch on weekends until 3 p.m.
Had a great experience at Napa. Loved the airy bright decor. Really reminded me of Napa. Cauliflower bites, meatballs and flatbread for apps were all good. Good wine list too. We also got warm bread, large portion and delicious. For mains I got the filet and the blackened shrimp. Filet was a Lil rarer than I like shrimp was good. I asked for fries instead if mashed potatoes. They gave me both. Fries were great. For me the highlight was the old fashioned. It was soo good. Dessert was key lime pie, choc mousse cake and creme brulee. Creme brulee was the best.

We hosted a baby shower at Napa on Providence this past weekend and they did a fantastic job! Layla, their events manager, was wonderful to work with leading up to the event. Our two servers for the day, Hannah and Jefferson, were wonderful; so kind and accommodating. The outdoor patio space was beautiful and perfect for the occasion. Food was delicious and everyone had a great time! Thank you!

Food was very good. Our party liked the bread served before main meal. Our waitress was very attentive. The only point of contention was long wait time before meal was served. That's reason for four stars.
Dennis M — Google review
Visited the restaurant for brunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was not busy at all. We were seated indoors because it was hot. There’s an outdoor area that is shaded and looked cozy. Loved that the restaurant had parking and it was a decent size parking lot. We ordered the monkey bread for appetizer. It was so good. Bread was a bit sticky on the fingers but the taste overshadowed all that. I ordered the Napa Benedict - it was just okay. The Benedict was dry for my liking. The potatoes were good, came out hot. My friend had the French toast and she said it was good. One thing I did note was that it took a while for the food to come out even though restaurant wasn’t that busy. Maybe they were short staffed that day. Overall, a decent experience and will be back to try out the dinner menu.

Had brunch here with the family and had a very pleasant experience. The menu isn't too extensive which makes it easier to choose for someone like me. The restaurant was super clean and well decorated. We started with the Sourdough bread, made in-house, delicious! I had the short rib eggs Benedict off the suggestion of our server- great suggestion! I'm looking forward to going back for dinner, they are known for their homemade meatballs.

My Friend and I stumbled across this restaurant when going to a concert in the area. The Food and service were both excellent. Options on the menu for those with diet sensitivites such as gluten and dairy. The drinks were amazing as well! I will def be returning!

I dined at Napa for The Queens Feast, which had special selections consisting of a prefixe 3 course menu. The shrimp gnocchi was the appetizer. While prepared well, the dish lacked the full flavor I expected so I had to add a little salt and pepper. For my main, the mushroom ravioli was selected. This was prepared to perfection. The dish overall was packed with textures and great flavor balanced by the smoothness of the cream sauce. I would return just to have this dish. I did expect to at least see Duck on the QF menu, but it was not included. The strawberry rhubarb cheesecake was selected for dessert. This was a nice balance of a tinge of tart at first bite followed by the sweet fluffy cheesecake on a soft buttery crust. The raspberry ginger mocktail I paired with the meal brought ot all together. I enjoyed the warm ambiance of the restaurant. There are several spaces to dine in (patio, bar area, 2 standard dining rooms), each offering a different feel based on lighting and decor. The staff was very polite and professional.

We hosted our Lunch N’ Learn on 08.26.25 at Napa on Providence, and it was perfect! The food was amazing, and the room was beautifully set up: elegant, cozy, and just right for our event. I highly recommend this spot for its great food and welcoming atmosphere.

Landmark Restaurant Diner is a casual roadside stop known for its sandwiches and classic diner dishes, open until late six days a week. Located on Tryon St., just 5 miles from uptown Charlotte, this family-owned establishment offers a diverse menu featuring Greek, Italian, and American cuisines. The diner has been serving the community for over 30 years and is praised for its great breakfast options and homemade desserts.
I attended a surprise birthday party hosted by some long-time friends, and it was amazing! I love coming to this place because the service is always excellent. The food is served quickly and piping hot. They ensure that everyone who walks through the doors is treated like family. The combination of great service and delicious food makes it a standout. In my opinion, the Texas burger and fries are the best items on the menu. Their fries are among the best in the city! I am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

Have been coming here since childhood. Many menu options. Many classics on the menu that I can remember. Also newer options. They even have a full bar. Kids menu available. Seemed to only have 1 server during our visit so we waited a bit before we could order. The hostess brought our drinks out.

Nice restaurant / diner on the east side of Charlotte. I went with our social group. We had a party of 11. Service was great. Food was fresh and delicious. All seem to enjoy their entrees. Must be a pretty popular place as the restaurant was quite full while we were there. Good food, generous portions, therefore a good value. Try them out!

Ms. Love who was our server amplified her name...LOVE!!! Her food suggestions hit the spot and her attention not only to us but her other customers were spot on. It was our first time definitely not the last!!!

Okay, so this is a legendary locals haunt in Charlotte that everyone has to eat at once. This place is famous; artists paint it and authors write about it. The service is the best every time; many waitresses have been there for years — so strike up a convo! From the dessert cooler to the Greek spaghetti to the Tom Turkey to the Chicken Livers to the Sirloin, you can’t go wrong. Pro Tips: Try the Italian Tour, Key Lime Pie, Grilled Flounder, and anything from their daily specials menu.

My family and I recently moved to East Charlotte and have been hearing great things about the Diner. Gave it a try this past weekend and it was amazing! Huge menu and the prices & portions were great. Our server, Lindsey, really made our experience stand out. Everyone very busy, yet she never skipped a beat. Very personable and attentive. We will DEFINITELY be back to see her! One of the best diners I’ve tried in Charlotte. I can see why they’ve been in business for so long!

I was a regular for a few years in the late 90s and have since moved 15 miles away. The food was good and fresh as always. The interior has been updated. If you can't find a breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert here you don't want to eat; you must be Gordon Ramsey or the other guy who has never sampled food on TV that anyone else has cooked besides himself that he likes. Service, food, atmosphere and value all 4 stars.

Brunch restaurant
Eddie's Place Restaurant is a popular casual eatery and bar in Charlotte, known for serving New Orleans specialties and all-day breakfast. The restaurant has a fun, family-friendly atmosphere and attracts a diverse crowd, from judges and CEOs to working men and women. It has been a staple for breakfast in the area for nearly 15 years, offering an all-day breakfast menu with delicious brunch specials.
For myself I ordered the build your own burger with a side of fries. It was good. My parents both ordered pasta and enjoyed it. My daughter demolished her kids burger and fries. My other children wanted the chicken tender with a side of fries. They enjoyed them! I found them to be an affordable option for a night out with the family. Great options and great food.

First time at Eddie’s and we are glad decided to give it a try. Ordered Prime rib lunch special and Red Beans and rice with grilled chicken and blackened shrimp. Both were delicious. The chicken and waffles looked great and so did hamburgers. We will be back to give them a try.

The restaurant has been open in Charlotte for as long as I can remember. Each time you drive by it is always full. Now I know why! I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had a 10 minute wait which isn't bad. Once in the restaurant it was busy with waiter / waitresses taking orders and bringing food out to tables. I had a cup of gumbo which was excellent!!! The main dish was black beans and rice with shrimp. Absolutely 💯 delicious 😋! Everything was worth the wait. If you are in the area stop in and get some amazing tasting food!
George R — Google review
Went here for Sunday lunch. Saw it had good reviews Waited 10 minutes. Sat. Server took our drink order and asked we were ready to order. We didn't even look at the menu. Once we ordered it was off the races for the kitchen. We ordered the she crab soup. It was good, would have been nice if it was hotter in temp. As soon as I had my spoon in the soup our salads came out. Then half way through having our salads our food came out. Personally for me, I don't like to be flooded with food like that. However, this may be a way they keep turning tables. Their version shrimp and grits was good with ample amount of shrimp. Rice and beans was way too spicy. The shrimp were so seasoned that the season crunched as you bit in. This dish was a fail. When you find yourself commenting on how good the bread is more then the meal itself should be an indicator of food quality. At least for me, I didn't see any love with any of the food. But beyond that, the fact the food was rushed made it less enjoyable dining experience. While this may be a perfect neighborhood bar, I probably would not go back.

I’m totally blown away by the level of quality and taste of the food here. The service was truly exceptional. We were greeted at the front door. The food was delicious there was no way we were going to not take the leftovers with us. Please don’t sleep on this place. If you do you will be very sorry.
Ronald J — Google review
Our waitress Anna was wonderful. Never had been to Charlotte before and was told by folks online to stop here. Did not disappoint. The biscuit was amazing and the Parm grits you can't miss. If you are vegetarian, you can ask to substitute meat for a side at no additional cost. We were nervous about a wait but on a Wednesday morning round 10am, it was no wait. Our total was about $22 for two breakfasts, before tip. 5/5

Had brunch here today and I’m so glad we discovered this hidden gem! The chicken and waffles were perfection — crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Our waitress went above and beyond, making the experience even better with her friendly attitude and great service. Can’t wait to come back!

Everyone has gotta try this place. I thought it was more of a very generic southern breakfast place before actually getting here, was I mistaken! This place is more like a local, upscale, hole on the wall that serves drinks and smashing good food! Had the assignment Benedict, which was great! Sauce wasn't broken, ham was not to salty, homefries good and the homemade hash was killer. Wife has the South Chicken+Gravy biscuit. She smashed that thing! Coffee was flowing, atmosphere was cool and chill. 10000% know why this place stays busy as heck! Absolutely a MUST TRY on CLT.

Restaurant
Futo Buta is a modern izakaya in Charlotte, offering a unique dining experience with its creative ramen and Japanese dishes. Chef Michael Shortino's establishment has been drawing attention since its opening in 2015, attracting both locals and visitors with its unconventional take on traditional ramen. The menu features innovative offerings such as pecan-smoked pork belly ramen bowls, Lowcountry-smoked pork belly buns, and spicy tuna rice crispy squares.
Delicious food, fast service, small restaurant. Everything we ordered was recommended by our waitress and didn't disappoint! And it was lightening quick service. Buta bowl has a ton of flavor and is pretty spicy so get spice on the side if you're worried. Definitely two meals worth of food. The tuna for the rice crispy squares was really flavorful. Tori Kara Age was perfectly fried and the sauce wasn't too hot. Was my first time having Saki and we ordered the Mio which tasted very much like sparkling white wine. Only thing to consider before eating here is that the restaurant is small and they make very good use of the space so be ready for close quarters. We didn't mind and the food was 10/10 so we'll be back!

Best ramen I've had in a long time! Edamame was perfect, mushroom gyoza was stupid good, salmon sushi was extremely fresh, beet salad with umeboshi dressing was bright and beautiful, duck buns were fantastic, and ramen was astounding! They have sake flights! With description cards for each sake! New favorite place in Charlotte!!!
Katarina R — Google review
As an asian, the ramen was not as flavorful as it could’ve been. My cousin and I went and we both agreed. You can get better quality ramen elsewhere like Jinya. The gyoza and karaage were great though!

We ate here while visiting Charlotte. It is located in a fun area right off the rail trail that starts in Uptown Charlotte. It’s a small trendy space with limited seating and communal tables. There’s outdoor seating available in the summer & when the weather is good. Service was quick & friendly. We tried a bunch of stuff - everything was good. Our favorite was the pork belly buns. There’s a parking structure right behind the restaurant.
Anora W — Google review
Great location, right off the train station. Staff is fabulous. Good food. The restaurant itself is a bit on the smaller/crammed side. I personally enjoy that for a ramen shop, but I know it's not to everyone's likings. Ramen is tasty and flavorful with great ingredients.
ライサーパトリシャー — Google review
The appetizers were good and the ramen was really flavorful. They have really elevated ramen. The prices are bit high compared to some places, but the quality is not too bad. The broth can be a bit fatty and the portion can be a lot for some. The toppings were good and the noodles were not too soggy and was still a bit chewy. Not as spicy as I thought it was going to be.
P N — Google review
The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting! Seating is pretty limited. Food was prepared and served quickly though I'd like to note that they do add a service charge on your bill for dining in ($8 and some change in my case). I got two sake drinks and two ramen bowls with my friend which ended up coming to $69 with a reasonable tip.

Boudreaux's Louisiana Kitchen is a laid-back eatery located in NoDa, offering a variety of classic Cajun dishes such as jambalaya, red beans, and beignets. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner throughout the week, with the addition of a brunch menu on weekends. Guests can also enjoy a Meat and Three deal for lunch, featuring a choice of meat and various sides. The establishment has received high praise for its authentic flavors and friendly service.
Absolutely love this place! Highly recommend trying the Gator bites or Gator Po Boy. We really enjoy their gumbo and jambalaya too. The service and overall atmosphere is great.
Lexi N — Google review
Very welcoming and beautiful establishment. Started to believe that I couldn't handle Cajun food, however, this place changed my mind. It was good and not to spicy for my pallet. I definitely recommend you try it when you're in the Noda area!
Kristal Y — Google review
We were excited to visit. We had a party of 10 and Boudreaux's accommodated us very well. For a first-time visit, however, it was disappointing. First off, there was one server covering ALL the dining areas. He was great, and it wasn't his fault that service was delayed. We tipped him 20 percent, and he continuously apologized, and we all understood his dilemma. All of us were more or less disappointed with our food. To be specific, I ordered the gator po' boy. For 17 dollars, I barely got any gator meat and feel like I paid for bread. I also ordered the she crab soup. While it was delicious, the crab was scarce. My daughters rice was undercooked. My son ordered the crayfish po'boy and was disappointed in the lack of meat. The ambiance was nice, the location is great and the atmosphere is fine. There is ample parking in the deck behind the restaurant. Overpriced for the amount of food.
J. R — Google review
I really tried to give this place a fair chance, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The Gator Bites appetizer was the only highlight—it was decent. However, the She Crab Soup was extremely disappointing, the Jambalaya was overwhelmed with tomato sauce, and the cornbread was very dry. I genuinely tried to get through my meal, but it just wasn’t for me. Initially, I decided not to leave a review because I didn’t want to be negative. But as the rest of the food arrived and I tasted my entrée, I felt it was important to share my experience so others can take it into consideration.
SneakerholicBeez — Google review
Our first time trying Jambalaya and Gumbo and it wasn't a good one. It was so bland and the cornbread was so dry it could rival a Popeyes biscuit. The beignets were tough and overcooked, even with the mound of powdered sugar on top. Overall, just disappointed. The one star is for the mango-pineapple mojito, which was decent.
Heather R — Google review
Nothing about this place encourages a 2nd visit. The gator bites were the only positive of the experience. The service staff was unprofessional and inattentive. The interior dining area and exterior design were dirty and incohesive. Additionally, the food was awful; of the six people in the party, nobody wanted to finish their food. The biscuits seemed to be made the week prior and the breakfast chicken quesidilias were greasy and lacking meaningful amounts of chicken... It is recommended to avoid this restaurant.

We were able to get a nice table right away at 6:30pm. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us just the right amount of time to decide our appetizer and entrees. I knew from the aroma in the restaurant that our food would be delicious. As you can see, we were very pleased! The crab & corn hush puppies were phenomenal and the dipping sauce - delicious The étouffée had just enough spice to make me feel it and truly enjoy the flavor - delicious The jambalaya had a smooth creole tomato base sauce - delicious The gumbo yaya was very hearty and really hit the spot, once again - delicious I absolutely recommend Boudreaux’s Louisiana Kitchen!

The Mad Greek of Charlotte is a family-owned restaurant that has been serving authentic and affordable Greek cuisine since 1991. Located on South Boulevard, this hidden gem offers traditional Greek dishes as well as classic American breakfasts and burgers. The menu includes pita sandwiches like gyro, chicken, and pork souvlaki served with fries, Greek salads, Mediterranean bowls, and daily specials such as chicken or pork souvlaki dinner.
We've been coming here for a few years now and the food has always been great. The service was ok and so was the atmosphere. Recently new owners/management have taken over and it shows. The atmosphere is much friendlier and professional with an emphasis on the customer and comfort (no loud TV, wait staff playing games and acting like children, strange "gatherings" on the patio outside). The food is still great and we look forward to continuing eating here and seeing how the get continue to improve.

I’ve spent time in Greece, and the mass Greek has by far the most authentic gyros I’ve ever had outside of Thessaloniki. Have one and you’ll be a believer. Greek ambiance on the patio as well; just hang out, enjoy a futbal game, smoke a cigi. It has that Mediterranean vibe. Best Greek restaurant in town.

The Mad Greek is one of our favorite spots — we come back often because the food and service are always wonderful. Our server, Marco, was especially kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The cheesecake baklava was absolutely incredible — truly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. We also love eating outside on the newly renovated deck, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic Greek food at an extremely affordable price! We were staying in a hotel nearby and came for dinner. What a terrific place. We both got the chicken souvlaki dinners. Delicious! Rice, pita, chicken, nicely caramelized onions and peppers, homemade shoestring fries and a generous side salad. You can add their homemade hummus instead of fries. We would be regulars if we were local to Charlotte. Highly recommend!

Food and service were amazing. We started with the Moussaka and it was spot on and very tasty. My wife had the chicken skewers and I had the pork souvlaki again both amazing. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Greek at its Best! Amazing authentic Greek food and beer done very well with great people. Gus has made me a huge fan of Greek food again! I had the Grecian Chicken Pita Sandwich with a Greek salad and I was surprised at how the flavors blended together and the quality of the meat made the sandwich so delectable. Alex gave great recommendations and the Mythos beer topped it off with a solid finish. There were many desserts to chose from as well. The staff was professional and very friendly, making it feel like a true family place with great food and even better memories. I am looking forward to coming back again.

This place is so incredibly outstanding. My husband and I are on a bit of a Greek food high after going to an other Greek spot nearby. We recently moved to this area & decided to check it out! We’ve been here twice now and both times were fantastic. The first time, I ordered a side Greek salad with Greek fries. Both were tasty. The second time, I ordered the Grecian veggie pita & my husband ordered the Grecian chicken pita, and OMG we were blown away. The pitas were mouthwatering delicious as were the fries that came with it. The service is sooo quick & everyone is so friendly! We will be back for sure!!
Nisha C — Google review
Thr Mad Greek is like a Athens Street food place, just more American. The menu is good sized, but has all your typical American/Greek Faire. The Gyro with the Pork, not the pork souvlaki(chunks) is pretty authentic to Greek as we dont do lamb/beef cone in Greece, we do pork. Taste was good, a little over cooked, but cool. I wish they did it more Greek Street style with Tomatoe, fries, meat, taziki, and feta and Pita and call it a day. The salad was really good, large cubes chicken, great dressing, and good portion Everything was GOOD...but not GREAT. As a Malaka ellinika myself, I just have higher standards. Definitely a good place though, just not Chicago/NY/NJ style greek/american.

Nestled in a charming strip mall, Saigon Palace Restaurant is a delightful Vietnamese eatery that stands out for its commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors. This cozy spot offers a range of classic dishes, including their renowned pho, which has garnered rave reviews from locals and visitors alike. The seafood Pho Do Bien is particularly noteworthy, featuring succulent shrimp, crab, and scallops paired with delicate egg noodles. Beyond the pho, diners can indulge in generous portions of vegetarian options that are equally impressive.
The #43 (pictured) is really good for first-timers trying to expand their palate. It's become my comfort food 😋 I really like that they offer different sizes of pho for different appetites. Service was friendly and really fast. Would definitely come back.

The grilled pork spring roll was good and had a lot of noodle in it. The peanut sauce was tasty, a bit sweet and on the thinner side. The med rare pho broth had a nice flavor, nothing too strong and wasn't super oily, and plenty of meat. The chili oil has a nice kick too it without overpowering the taste of the pho.

I've ordered takeout from Saigon several times, but this was my 1st time going there and dining in. Nice spot, and even nicer staff. We ordered a seafood pho which I've had before, but this one had egg noodles instead of rice noodles. I prefer the rice noodles. We also had the sesame chicken with fried rice, and beef with broccoli and fried rice. Everything was good. We also had spring rolls as an appetizer but I forgot to take a picture.

The food was tasty a little under seasoned. The spring rolls were very good they were vegetable. The staff was very kind and the price was affordable I was satisfied with the portion of food I got. I would eat there again.

Big portions, but meat was tough in my vermicelli dish. The pork chop was super tough in the rice dish. OMG, they don't have Rooster brand Sriracha anymore. They had a cheap, not spicy, sweet sauce. My nephew couldn't even eat his Pho Dac Biet cause there was no Sriracha. My niece said the inky thing good about her vermicelli dish was the meatballs, I agree with that, tender, juicy, and very flavorful. The positive thing is, you'll never be thirsty, they were on point with refilling your drink after taking a sip. They drowned the chicken wings with like a sweet & sour sauce, not a fan.

The pub has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff, and it also hosts events such as trivia nights on Mondays.

Everything you could ever want in an English/Irish pub. As a northeastern-er I've frequented my fair share of great pubs in NY and Boston and Sir Edmund Halley's is up there with the best. They have an excellent and diverse menu with some classics such as fish & chips (some of the best in Charlotte) and Shepard pie, along with non-traditional pub food! My favorite part of the experience is sitting on their incredible patio under the string lights sipping on a Guinness late in the evening!

Sir Edmond Halley’s is such a charming British pub with a really nice, quaint ambience. The outdoor space is ample and perfect for relaxing, and the indoor area is just as welcoming. Even though they seemed a bit understaffed, the service was still attentive and friendly. I had the bacon cheeseburger (added blue cheese!) and it was absolutely delicious. My friends had the fish and chips and the salmon wrap, and they both loved their meals too. A great spot to unwind and enjoy good food in a cozy setting—I’ll definitely be back!

I have wanted to go in this place for a while and finally did. We got here right as they were opening. The bartender and staff were really cool about it. We didn't eat, just had a couple of drinks. Their patio is so beautiful and tranquil! The bartender pours a nice drink! He gave us some insights on some upcoming events like trivia night they were having that night on mondays! They usually have a pretty good crowd. It's not a very big place, but it definitely feels homey. Can't wait to come back and try the food! Prices vary on what you order.
Jael L — Google review
Wonderful food with a great vegetarian selection and fantastic patio setting. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because we unfortunately had a surly server. While everyone else who came to our table was cheerful and friendly, he was inattentive and seemed to be in a bad mood. Such a shame, because it was otherwise a fantastic experience. I would definitely go again and hope for a different server.
Julie R — Google review
It's easily 20 years since I first visited Sir Edmond Halley's. I loved it then and up until two days ago, I would rate them as having excellent food. But this past weekend I visited with a couple of friends who were new to town and it was just so-so. It still had that cool underground vibe (like when you were a kid and it was AWESOME that your friend's dad installed a full bar in his basement!) but the service and the food were such a let down. My friends were a little high-maintenance with multiple questions about the menu and drinks and it was clear that our server Heather, was losing patience. I suggested to my friends that they order the french fries (which used to be my favorite in all of Charlotte) but they came out soggy. I ordered the Buffalo wings, and while they were a little dry, the flavor was good, EXCEPT one of the five wings was just a breaded bone, with no meat at all. And when I pointed that out to aforementioned server, she just shrugged and said sorry. When she came to pick up my plate I said I hoped she wasn't going to charge me for that bad wing but guess what? She did. I know in the big picture it was just a $2 chicken wing but if the server doesn't try and make it right, why bother? Between the poorly prepared food and the blah attitude of the staff, it was such a disappointment. I won't be returning.

I had their fish and chips it wasn't the best I had but was decent enough and the wings that were good . Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled along South Boulevard, The Waterman Fish Bar is a delightful seafood haven that perfectly captures the essence of casual dining with a modern twist. This charming eatery invites you to indulge in an array of fresh, locally sourced seafood dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. Whether you're unwinding after work during Happy Hour with $1.5 house oysters or sipping on one of their signature craft cocktails—affectionately referred to as "boat drinks"—there's something for everyone.
As a first timer, all I can say is: OUTSTANDING! Unfortunately we had to order takeout, but my goodness; everything was incredible. I can only imagine what I missed had we dined in. So many options left to try so we will definitely be back! Everything was boxed properly. All of the food was prepared correctly, even with quite a few dietary restrictions and modifications. The ceviche was delicious; paired along with chips that remained crunchy and were not oily. The Salmon was prepared exactly as ordered; without oil or butter and was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The scallops, shrimp and flounder were blackened with such a robust flavor without the extra saltiness. The scallops were firm and seared; leaving edges of crispiness and a tender texture. The seasonings did not take over the flavors of freshness from the fish. The rice was fantastic and paired well with the charred broccoli. We can’t wait to try the dirty rice next! The Waterman Sauce was great! We ordered half a dozen Sea Salt Oysters and instantly regretted not ordering a dozen. The coleslaw was one of the best we’ve had. Lastly, the Key Lime Tart was firm, creamy and had the perfect mix of zest and perfection I look for in this dessert. This is easily a dessert to be eaten in one sitting without sharing. Our experience here proved we do not need to be at a beach to get top quality seafood and an experience that makes me want to come back already tomorrow.

I had the citrus salmon. It was decent just needed more seasoning. The broccoli absolutely had no seasoning so I asked for ranch to dip it in. The Cajun french fries were good: not spicy at all. My friend had the simply salmon do not order this. It had no flavor to it. My daughter had the chicken and waffles. She said the chicken was very delicious but the waffle was so so. The mac & cheese was decent very cheesy.

I’m hooked on their hospitality! Even on a stormy night the manager cleared off tables to accommodate our birthday girl. There wasn’t much of a wait outdoor but the inside was packed which is a good sign of good food. There are drink specials and unique seafood dishes. The table raved about the appetizers. The rooftop was closed due to the weather but I would come back. Not too pricey and just enough to make the night special.

Best chicken waffles I’ve ever had. Service was great. Chicken was plum, juicy, and perfect crisp flavor for batter. The waffles were rich. Slightly a little too sugary, but still good. Biscuits were amazing. Nice and golden on the outside very fluffy and moist on the inside. Chicken and waffles – $18, biscuits – five dollars, chicken biscuit – $11 Music was very vibe and a good loud volume. Especially because the patio is in a busy intersection. Help drown out a little of the car noise. Pet friendly

The restaurant was so amazing we had some set backs which we will get into .. I came in this Sunday evening to sit up stairs . We got drinks upstairs the host walked us up there as this was our first time here . We got drinks closed out then we came down stairs the hostess Nijay sat us at a table . The server that night was super busy and never came over to us . The host came to us and said he is sorry about that and got us started with some drinks and some apps he was very pleasing and he stepped up and went above and beyond . He got us oysters and food and treated us like family . He then told us that she would be over with us Ina. Bit after a while she never came back and he realized that and he continued to help us and closed us out . We asked him would the tip go to him he said no because he isn’t a server and that wouldn’t be right. We still tipped but felt the tip should have went to him for taking Amazing care of us he was very helpful and he told us about the happy hour during the week I’ll be back thanks waterman for having such nice people

I hadn’t visited in a long time and this take out food was not good at all. The broccoli was hard even though I asked for it to be cooked a little softer. They also charged me for an extra side of broccoli that I didn’t ask for. The salmon was bland. They barely gave any rice. The Mac and cheese used to be one of my favs and it had a very weird taste to it as if something was spoiled. It wasn’t good at all. I will not be returning.

Pretty disappointing experience. This had been one of the restaurants we liked going to for seafood and oysters. Seems to have fallen off. We were never asked if we wanted to sit outside. We were just taken to the table next to the bathroom. Really bad service. Short pours on a $7 12oz beer in the afternoon. Crumbs for fries. Recipe changes to cheaper ingredients on the ceviche (which seemed to have sat a while before being brought out with some soggy chips). It used to be one of our favorite things on the menu. And the service was so bad I could mention it again. How we could be served oysters before our drink order was ever taken is beyond me. Hard to enjoy the meal when it felt so dysfunctional and they didn’t seem to care that we were customers. We had a couple interactions with manager types but they never asked how things were going, just running the food or assisting taking the check.

This is a great spot for a lively and delicious meal! And I do mean delicious. This was our second visit in the past few weeks and it was even better the second time. We’ve had the lobster roll, the tacos, the scallops, the fish and chips, the calamari and the hushpuppies. The calamari was perfect! So tender. The fried haddock fillet was huge, fluffy and moist. It was all very good. Both times our server was prompt, friendly, accommodated our requests and anticipated our needs.

Authentic Japanese restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Plaza Midwood, Yama Izakaya is a charming Japanese eatery and bar that invites you to indulge in an authentic izakaya experience. This cozy spot specializes in traditional small plates, including mouthwatering yakitori, gyoza, and crispy karaage chicken. The menu also boasts a delightful selection of ramen dishes with customizable add-ons to suit your taste.
I'm surprised this place wasn't busy. The atmosphere and decor was upscale and chic. Service was good. The best was the food. Sushi had perfect ratio of rice to fish/filling and was super fresh. The ramen was superb. Noodles perfectly cooked with Rich pork Bone broth. The dinnerware was upscale and luxurious. I don't mind the disposable chopsticks but they could be a little less cheap. They don't match with the luxury of the plates, decor and food.

We had the fried octopus balls as an appetizer. They were very tasty but didn't have a lot of octopus in them. I had the Miso Ramen which was delicious and my friend head the kiss of fire sushi roll. The place is clean and the service was good. I've been a few times and it has yet to disappoint. It's also never really that crowded so it's easy to get in and out fairly quickly.
Matt Q — Google review
Had Tonkatsu Ramen, some of the eggs were overcooked, broth was tasty but needed more of it, noodles cooked well, pork was amazing. Had a philly roll and california which was supposed to be a shrimp tempura so the order was messed up. The sushi was very sub par. Also had the bcon wrapped scallops which were $10 for 3 scallops and scallops were not cleaner properly, some grit from sand. But they tasted okay with the bacon. Overall very sub par, which is why I am giving this 3 stars. I would not recommend to the Ramen/Sushi Connoisseur.

Loved the food. It came on time. Except ramen everything was superb. We landed up ordering lamb and buns appertizer again. Ambience was little dark for my taste. Overall good experience.

I really enjoyed the food and the customer service that our server provided. However, I feel that the hostess needs to work on her attitude just a tad. Everything else was awesome! Ramen was so delicious

Great atmosphere, good food, & quick service. If you’re in the mood for some good authentic ramen without all the crowds this is an awesome choice.

I visited on a Saturday lunch time and there was just a few other tables. The service was standard. We ordered a Tempura Sampler and the pieces were undercooked overall - shrimp was still watery and the batter in between the broccoli was not cooked. This was $8 appetizer/side and shrimp was the size of my skinny pinky. Not worth it. We both ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and it was by far the worst ramen I had in Charlotte. It tastes like it has a bunch of preservatives and salt which had me drink an entire cup of water after few bites. Most importantly, it didn’t taste fresh as if the broth was a couple days old. It had a strong pork gamey taste which should taste like a delightful savory flavor. I haven’t tried other dishes here but I was genuinely disappointed for the dishes I had and I don’t recommend ordering them.

Phở Hoà is a casual chain known for its wide variety of pho and other Vietnamese specialties. Located on 3000 Central Avenue in Charlotte, it's considered one of the top options for pho in the city. The restaurant caters to both beginners and experienced diners, with menu options labeled by experience level. Their meatballs and brisket are recommended choices.
This is hands down my favorite Pho place in all of Charlotte. Never a wait, and the food is top notch. I travel a lot for work and this is my favorite spot to always go to because of the friendly service and even has so many sauces at your table to add to it that just enhanced the flavor. Definitely give it a try!!

Came in for lunch today on a Saturday a little after noon. Place was hoppin’ which was a good sign. Love that they have the menu right on the table under glass cover for easy access- genius! Got the pho with the sliced steak and meatballs, which I forgot to take a picture of. It definitely hit the spot, very good! My husband and I both agreed that the pho broth here is done right. So far, the best we tried in town.

Love this place! Have for many years! The authenticity of this Vietnamese food in America is top tier! Like I’m eating on the streets of Ho Chi Min! The fusion to American taste buds makes sure to include all levels of adventurous patrons: the ones seeking the real taste and those who need to stay close to home tastes. And guess what? They make the hottest red pepper oil that’ll put hair on your eyes balls. Highly recommend!

I love pho, and this is hands down my favorite spot in the Charlotte area! I’ve been a regular here for over 15 years, and they never disappoint. A+ service, consistent food, and the best pho broth in town. Bonus points: their bubble tea is delicious, and the papaya is unmatched, this is the only place I’ll ever order papaya because they make it just right!

Naj and I went on a casual lunch date to Pho Hoa. We were greeted by the host with a warm smile. It was a cold day in NC so some pho was well needed. We were seated right away and sat down at a table in the middle of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly. Our order came right away. I had the seafood pho and Naj had the pho with the different meats. We had a tofu roll and Naj had the summer roll. We had a cold Kirin premium beer. Everything was delicious!! We will definitely be going back there again.

Accommodating staff. They will assist you immediately upon entering - tell you where to sit and collect orders. The place is clean and big that can hold a lot of customers. For their food, I ordered #45 Brisket, Fatty Flank, & Crunchy Flank. It was a big serving despite of I just had the regular size. Condiments are available on the table for consumption . It was very delicious. However, my friends ordered pork chop and a side order of shrimp. It was also good, but both meats were so dry and it seemed they sit a little longer time in the warmer. This is not our first time here, but we keep on coming back because of the experience and the delicious food!

Latin American restaurant
Maria's Mexican Restaurant is a laid-back eatery that has gained popularity for its Mexican and Tex-Mex fare, along with a selection of beer and margaritas. One of the highlights is their birria dishes, particularly the standout tacos, pizza, and ramen. The QuesaBirria, a taco-quesadilla fusion, went viral on TikTok after being featured by Wynee Bermudez.
This should be 5 stars! The food is the best Mexican food I ever had! I mean EVER I can not exaggerate! The owner helps all her staff and checks on her customers. I would give this place 1million stars if possible. Not the mention the salsa and queso is so rich and made with love not watery like most places I’ve been to.
Kelsea L — Google review
This restaurant was on my list of new places to check out! I was excited to try the nachos and ramen. The food looked and smell really good however the taste fell flat for me. I personally wouldn’t come back because I didn’t enjoy my food. I will say the service was quick and the pickup was smooth.
Shayla H — Google review
This was my first time here. It didn't take long for us to be seated. Very casual dining experience. I was told this place had some of the best birria tacos on this side of town so I had to try it. Our server was Daniel, he was attentive and got our food out pretty quickly. I definitely recommend the quesabirria and the quesa shrimp. I also had the raspberry margarita. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!
Jael L — Google review
I can't believe I have never been here. The service is amazing everybody is so nice. The food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place we definitely will be back. I had the combination which was a burrito, rice and beans. It was very flavorful and the prices are super reasonable.
Kim G — Google review
What a disappointment! This place gone downhill significantly. Went in for a simple fajita quesadilla, and the food was subpar. The veggies are still hard, and the thrown together. The flavor was incredibly bland. Dripping oil, even though I asked for no additional oil. It’s been a while since I’ve frequented this establishment, but I won’t be back after this poor presentation and taste.
Brittany A — Google review
everything was juicy. I am pleased withheld the birria was packaged I was really worried about the spill the ramen was so good. I didn't need the chips and the salsa but I will be ordering again because I like trying Birria from different restaurants.
I.am.strangepeaches — Google review
Birria was a complete disappointment. Shrimp was unseasoned, the birria flavorless. Food photos of this place make the food look amazing but it’s literally bare minimum. Gringo dip is literally milk with bean juice. My Mexican grandmother would’ve had a fit had she tried this food. Waitress just rushing to take the order, bring the food and drinks. However the style of the place was nice.
Liz S — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Maria's Mexican Restaurant is hands-down one of the BEST places to eat. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The Birria Nachos were loaded perfectly and every bite had the right balance of crunch, cheese, and toppings. The Birria Pizza was a fun, creative twist that blew us away. The Birria Ramen Bowl was comforting, flavorful, and unlike anything I’ve had before—such a unique menu item that really works. And the Birria Chimichanga? Golden, crispy perfection with a filling that was seasoned just right. On top of the amazing food, the service was just as impressive. Friendly, attentive, and you can really feel the pride they take in serving their customers. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back again. Highly recommend Maria Tacos—you won’t be disappointed!

Abugida Ethiopian Cafe & Restaurant is a cozy, family-owned eatery located at 3007 Central Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina. The restaurant offers a homestyle setting with traditional interior details and orange walls. Known for its delicious and reasonably priced Ethiopian cuisine, Abugida specializes in authentic dishes traditionally eaten without utensils and scooped up with injera, a spongey flatbread.
The chicken, beef and lamb tibs dishes here are all great but I lean toward the lamb. This is a different kind of experience as you eat your meal with the bread that's served. There are plenty of vegetarian options for those looking for that. The wine and coffee available here are also very good.
Brian S — Google review
The food was pretty good. Not the greatest. Tried the non-veg platter. The Doro wet was great. The service was good. Loved the experience with the coffee. The ambience is okay. The restrooms are pretty neat. A quick stop to have some decent Ethiopian food. Price is more on the higher end.
REEBA T — Google review
The staff was excellent with explaining the menu & asking if we will be eating off the same dish. The food displayed beautifully and tasted great. I wish there were better options on the drinks such as traditional iced sweet tea or fountain drink soda for refills vs. the can. The restaurant was cozy. The unisex restroom was clean. We ended up parking in the parking lot beside the business instead of in back. We will be back.

Calle Sol Latin Café & Cevicheria is a vibrant restaurant in Charlotte that offers a fusion of Cuban and Peruvian cuisine. The ambiance and decor transport diners to the lively dining scenes of Tampa and Miami, where the iconic Cubano sandwich originates. The menu features must-try dishes like ceviche, vaca frita, Cuban sandwiches, and fried sweet plantains. One standout dish is the shrimp tallerin, stir-fried lo mein noodles with a delightful mix of flavors.
I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this place! First visit and the food was top notch while the service was outstanding. Kim immediately gave us recommendations for a good combination of plates to share and we loved every single bite. The Cuban fried rice was my absolute favorite with plenty to share and eat the next day. We had a cocktail from the May features and I’m just sad it won’t be there next month. The Cuatro Smash needs a permanent spot on the menu.

These folks are a good lot. I enjoyed my unplanned visit after a float spa appointment. Perfect stop for lunch IMO. The whole staff were friendly and humorous as an unaffiliated ad was shot there and the people didn't even spend $$ with the establishment. Just adios and thanks. The Ceviche was excellent. I got the Rocoto with shrimp and fish. YES! Loved it. Primary reason for the stop and I savored every bite. After good conversation with some other locals and a tasty margarita, I know I'll be back to further sample the menu.

The Cuban fried rice is probably one of the BEST fried rice meals I've ever had. In my whole life. My husband got 2 half sandwiches and they were both great. If we lived closer we would be here allllllll the timmmmeeeee. We already can't wait to get back to this side of Charlotte and try something new. The whole atmosphere and staff were amazing and so welcoming. Our younger male waiter was great and had a lot of great recommendations. There was a female (maybe manager) that came and asked us how everything was - and then we saw her eating lunch - which is a great sign when a manager eats the food! She was super nice and had recommened a few dishes to try next time as well.

Finally after couple of tries, got to visit this place on a summer Sunday and it was worth it. The mixed ceviche(shrimp & white fish) was one of the best in Charlotte. Equally good were the Shrimp Chaufa(Peruvian fried rice) & Tallerin(Noodles). All the ingredients were fresh and you can taste the distinct flavors. Will definitely come back to try some of the other dishes. It’s a small place with limited parking space. So plan accordingly. Service is good.

If you're in Charlotte and craving an authentic taste of Bangkok, look no further than Rice and Spice Thai Street Food. This hidden gem offers a delightful array of traditional dishes that transport you straight to the bustling streets of Thailand. With rich flavors and aromatic spices, every bite is a culinary adventure that will leave you eager for more. The restaurant caters wonderfully to vegetarians with an impressive selection of meat-free options, ensuring everyone can find something delicious to enjoy.
We drove all the way to Pineville for some Thai food. In a pretty nondescript strip mall, the Rice and Spice space literally blooms with (painted) flowers! Upon arrival, it was pretty empty, but by the time we left, it was pretty busy! The clientele was friendly and effusive in their praise of the food. We had their spice level medium and it was perfect! (Our tolerance is usually an Indian restaurant 5-6) we had green curry, pad see ew, a noodle dish, a shrimp dish and finished with mango with sticky rice. Everything was delicious, had a good amount of the chosen protein. If anything, there could have been more vegetables. Our server had some great suggestions for next time and we are already planning another trip!
Peggy C — Google review
I will start off by saying that we were very excited about having lunch here. We had heard great things and had many recommendations to eat here. We arrived around 1pm and there were a out 4 other tables already there and eating. We were shown to our seats quickly but then it took quite a while to be seen. The lady who had shown us to our seats ended up coming back and started our order. We started with the Tod Mun Plaa (Thai fish cake) and we did enjoy that. For our entree we chose Kuay Tiew Rua (Thai Boat Noodles) I realized once we had ordered and they brought us our meal, we were never asked about spice level. I didn't think of it, but I overheard the other tables being seated and with another server, always being asked about the spice level. The portion for the entree was great and we knew we would have plenty to take home, even between the two of us. Unfortunately a couple bites in, my husband just couldn't stomach it anymore. It was a bomb of salt and Five Spice. No other flavors could be tasted. We also ordered the child's Pad Thai from the kids menu for our toddler. I'm not sure if it was because it was on the kids menu or not, but there didn't seem to be any flavor to it at all. We were never really checked on and our server never seemed as kind and communicative as she was with other tables or as the other server was with his tables. The visit definitely deflated our expectations. We are hoping that the lack of service to our table and the quality of food was just a one off. We may consider visiting again and trying other dishes.

Visiting from Texas and so glad we found this gem! My husband is a huge Thai food lover, so I searched for a spot while we were in town—and Rice and Spice Thai did not disappoint. I had the drunken noodles with chicken and he had the fried rice with beef and chicken—both were absolutely delicious. Super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. On top of that, the service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Taylor T — Google review
Very good food. I had returned from a 3 month stay in Thailand. I lived off of food carts and food stalls. The taste was close, but it just wasn't the Thai street food I was used to. Don't get me wrong, the food was on point. When you are eating alongside many Thai people, use Google Translate to communicate and experience real Thai culture.
Jeff H — Google review
Treated myself to chicken pad Thai. Keep in mind medium might make your nose run a lil bit. Very good though. Nina was kind, and kept my water full.
Kelly N — Google review
I tried out Rice and Spice since I had seen many recommendations about it. I ordered the pad see ew and it was SOOOOOOO dang salty!!!! Oh my gosh, I was literally pouring water from my cup onto the noodles to salvage it. And the tofu was really hard and tough to chew… I couldn’t even finish it. Maybe Rice and Spice is good for other thai things but absolutely not pad see ew. Plus they used thin rice noodles (which I am a firm believer noodles shape affects taste) If I’m getting pad see ew, Im gonna go to Thai House instead!!

Ilios Crafted Greek is a fast-casual Greek eatery located in the South End of Charlotte that champions healthy and authentic Greek cuisine in a casual setting. This restaurant started as a sister restaurant to Ilios Noche, which bills itself as the birthplace of authentic meat cooking processes found throughout Greece. The menu at Ilios Crafted Greek showcases amazing rotisserie roasted plates as some of their most popular order options.
Always great service and always hot and delicious food! This is one of my favorite lunch spots to go to. I love getting the chicken soulva with their yummy Greek fries or one of their fresh seasonal vegetables! I love that they provide different seasonal vegetables as I’m able to try a different side with Greek flavors. That really gives you a chance to explore the Greek cuisine! My husband usually gets the half chicken and he loves it as well! Definitely recommend this place for some of the best grilled chicken in the city💯

The chicken, in particular, is incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The overall experience was excellent, from the friendly service to the clean, modern atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you look forward to returning to.

It's a decent place. This was my first visit. I placed on online order for pickup. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki plate. The chicken has good flavor. A couple of pieces had a bit of pink which I didn't care for. I choose the Greek style fries, which are good and herbed rice pilaf, which was ok. Portion is small. Atmosphere ok. I'd order again someday.

Casual Greek food that stands above the rest . We went and got Greek plates with grilled Chicken/ Gyros respectively. Everything - the meats, the Greek fries and the Mushroom veggies were excellent. The girl who explained the menu to us and check on us was very nice and hard working. Casual food can be a little bit forgettable even if satisfying but this restaurant is a step above others.

Let me say that it is an absolute CRIME that this place is not packed wall to wall full of customers at open. This is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in years! The staff was so friendly and kind. The manager Sabrina was willing to let us try and food we wanted and offered great suggestions. The food is exceptionally fresh and absolutely full of flavor. The meats are roasted over a charcoal grill and sauces are clearly made in house. The spanakopita is also made by hand and came fresh out of the over when I arrived. Absolutely everything about this was a treat! Do yourself a favor and go!

We had such a great experience with their catering today! We ended up changing our pickup time just two hours before, and the team and manager made it happen without a problem. The food was fresh, ready right on time, and everything turned out perfect

The food was so tasty and fresh. Sabina was very kind, and the whole team was efficient. We very much enjoyed our visit and will be back soon!

Ilios is hands-down my favorite Greek restaurant in South End. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a level of professionalism and hospitality that’s truly unmatched. Joao, Sabina, Josue, and Xiorayma consistently go above and beyond to make every visit feel personal and welcoming. The food is exceptional—full of authentic flavor, always fresh, and served in generous portions. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the quality never slips. You can tell they take pride in every dish. What also stands out is the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. The space is spotless, well-organized, and clearly maintained to high standards. It’s obvious that hygiene and presentation are a top priority here. If you’re looking for delicious Greek food, genuine hospitality, and a place that truly cares about its customers, Ilios should be at the top of your list.

Crepe Cellar Kitchen and Pub, located in the heart of NoDa, offers a diverse selection for all types of food enthusiasts. The cozy and laid-back atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for both dinner and brunch. While their namesake crepes are delicious, the menu also features impressive salads, sandwiches, and entrees.
Oh-Em-G. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. I ended up ordering the Smoked Salmon Crepe with a side of slaw - Scrumptious 🤤! For dessert, we ordered the Brownie in a Blanket. Ugh 😩! It really hit the spot and left very satisfied. Our waiter, Dane, was attentive and friendly! Great staff and food all around! Highly recommend!

I came here a long time ago for the crepes, but I wanted to come back to try some of the other menu items. When I heard they were changing it to an Italian concept, I knew it was time to make our visit before it was too late. Our order: - Crepe Cellar Burger with Macaroni & Cheese - Burrata - Housemade Agnolotti The meal was really good. The Agnolotti was probably my favorite. I also loved the burger though. They cooked the burger perfectly which seems to be increasingly hard to find. In the age of Covid-19, this restaurant was a little stressful to me. The tables inside are all packed on top of each other. We made an early reservation, so it wasn't bad when we arrived, but I was happy to get out of there by the time we left. If you're interested in the current menu, I'd recommend stopping by soon before it becomes an Italian restaurant.

The pesto Brie fries were amazing... they were not too overloaded with pesto or brie and they were very well cooked. Fry’s himself or crunchy and delicious. A small order is plenty for two people to share. The restaurant itself was not very busy in the staff was very nice. It did not take long for food to come out nor the check.

Ambiance is nice. The food was ok. My steak was tough even with it being medium rare /well done. Not a prime cut of steak at all. The potatoes were delicious. The mimosa was delicious. My husband enjoyed his burger. The girls only ate half their savory crepe. I had a dessert crepe ( brownie crepe) and it was the best part of the experience lol. Ill probably only be back for dessert 🍨 😋

Brunch review. Ordered the ham and gruyere cheese crepe and the Queen City crepe along with the biscuits for an appetizer. All were really delicious. The biscuits were great with the honey on top. Just wish it came with fresh jam or something to put on it. The breakfast potatoes were good but had a little too much seasoning for my taste. Wish they had a few more savory crepes on the menu. Also, our friends kid ordered the strawberry crepe which was waaaaay to sweet. It honestly tasted like someone poured tablespoons of sugar inside and never cooked it in. It wasn’t even edible for the kid to enjoy it. Other than that- great service and all the other food we enjoyed!
Sweet D — Google review
We had the shrimp curry appetizer, the veggie burger, and the mushroom crepe. The service was exceptionally slow (not crowded) and the food was just average. We will not be going back or recommending this place to our friends. The only positive was that the cauliflower was pretty good.
Matt Q — Google review
Sweet & savory crêpes, bistro bites, French-press coffee & European beers in a warm and inviting, chill setting. Crepe Cellar is a quaint NoDa location with a wide-ranging brunch menu from their famous pesto brie fries to spinach and wild mushroom crepe to roasted oysters to eggs Benedict. It’s popular, tastefully delicious, and possibly the best cozy spot to have brunch in Charlotte. This was one of my favorite spots while visiting Charlotte for the very first time. Their sister restaurant, Haberdash, was another favorite and only a couple of doors away. I love the tasteful food, attention to small details, and amazing customer service.

Went here on a Thursday night with my mom. It was a very lively area with a dark atmosphere with a spotlight on each table. The beer selection had a good variety of types of beer, and it tells you what will be the next selection. I had the Queen City crepe with fries, which was great! My mom had the French onion soup that was delicious and thick. We enjoyed the banana foster crepe for dessert. Definitely a great place to meet with friends, family, and romantic dates.

Picadeli's Pub-In-Deli is a down-to-earth eatery that serves up a variety of delectable dishes such as wings, burgers, deli sandwiches, and craft beers. The staff are known for their friendly and efficient service, with the chef even taking the time to check in on diners. Customers rave about the quality of the food, particularly highlighting favorites like the Reuben sandwich and Greek salads.
Grabbed a quick dinner to go last night for three of us. I had a Reuben with fries. Very delicious. My son had chicken salad on rye with pasta salad. He raved about how good it was, especially the sandwich. My husband is vegan and had a veggie burger with fries. The burger was not boxed but looked handmade by the chef. He loved it. I once had a salad here that just about knocked me over it was so delicious. I can’t remember which salad it was, but I will try their salads again and see if I can figure it out. The lady at the register was adorable and super helpful. I prefer eating at local restaurants when possible and this one is getting put on repeat.
Molly B — Google review
My wife and I stopped by on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch. We were the only people in the restaurant which was nice. Our server was top notch and the food was good. We went with a Chef Salad and the French Dip. My only complaint would be the salad was very small, almost like a side salad so I ended up having some of the French Dip since it was the size of a usual entrée. All around it was an alright experience.
Brandon S — Google review
Food is always consistent, service is always great. Has a great neighborhood feel to it. Owner is always checking in and engaged in his business which is a rare thing these days. I always get the patty melt sandwich its my favorite and an absolute crowd pleaser.
Blake R — Google review
UPDATE: The floors were updated and make a huge difference in first impressions. Service is still very personable and fabulous. I'm here on a rainy Wednesday 11am and 3 tables filled and so far she's the only server. I hope she's getting help as lunch hour rolls in. This time I got a burger deluxe. They were able to swap out the bread bun for a lettuce bun for me. The best part (besides the lettuce bun) is the burger isn't a frozen Costco patty. It's ground beef hand pressed. Juicy and cooked perfect and flavorful. Adding in the small things... I always like a place where I don't see a servers station from my table. The music is a nice variety bringing me back to my school days- K104.7 and the guest check bill was old school paper and not a computerized device taking up unnecessary room on my table. Raising up to 5 stars ORIGINAL REVIEW: First time eating here. Cute vibe inside. Cozy. It's like both a cafe and bar with a tuscan feel to it. Service was very good, although I think there was only 1 girl working the whole place and she could have used some help. Food came out ridiculously quick. Being a recent transplant from NY.... I got a Reuben. I was really looking forward to this, but the kraut ratio was off. Like really off. I got a side of more kraut for my sandwhich to get that NY 50/50 ratio. I think I will be back to try other items. Only thing that distresses me about here is their carpeting in the entire dining area, which is the whole place.... is so black and dirty from years of grime, traffic, and usage that only on the edges can you see its original color. Things like this make me question the cleanliness of other areas such as the kitchen and food prep. Time for new flooring.

Came in on Tuesday around noon where it wasn't too busy but popping for sure. Our waitress was fantastic. Very sweet, attentive and overall a great waitress. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was pretty good. I have had better chicken salads before it was still a decent sandwich. I also got their coke and my family got their sweet teas. They both said that they tasted funny and the coke did as well. I did get their caramel cheesecake as well which was very good. A great desert choice if you love deserts. My family member got the bacon cheese burger and they said it was just mediocre. He was not able to finish it. The fries we all got were good as well. For the location/atmosphere, it had decent vibes, all the staff was very nice and friendly. The place itself was clean but did need some clear updates with paint chipping and some holes here and there in the wall. For the area its in, this isnt surprising. Overall a decent place for a quick bite if you prefer southern style atmosphere.

It was good restaurant, food was amazing. I loved their Homemade beer , i believe it’s homemade or I understand correctly. Only think there is skinny girl who is absolutely racist (she takes one star off from five star review). Except that everything else is good. My order is Chicken Wings with mild 12 and with Lemon Pepper. And also I ordered beer and french fries 🍟. Make sure you tip cash :)

Greeted great by the very friendly Amber From start to finish ! Excellent service .. COLD beer and mushrooms to start .. followed by the delicious Patty Melt / Fries and Meatballs sun / onion rings . Will definitely recommend and return ! .

This is one of our fav places to go for a quick bite. It’s deli food with a beer, not a five course meal. The owners are good people and he makes a great bean and french onion soup. The wait staff are very nice and helpful. We enjoy eating here.

If you're in Fort Mill and craving a comforting bowl of soup, look no further than Ladles Soups. This cozy spot is perfect for a lunch outing, especially on those chilly overcast days when a warm meal hits the spot. Their Greek Lemon Chicken Soup is a must-try, served alongside a roll that complements its zesty flavor perfectly.
I recommend this place. It is really nice for lunch. Nice choice of soups and huge salad portions. Kids really enjoyed chicken noodle soups because of soft and delicious chicken like they said. Ready to go everyday if they going to eat soups. She crab soup doesn't taste like one in Charleston like there is no crab inside and spicy but it was good anyway. We enjoyed being there. Stuff members are friendly and nice, food is good, prices are reasonable, definitely going to come back

Visited Ladies Soups after a morning hike at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. I ordered the vegan Garden Vegetable soup & 1/2 Caprese sandwich. Soup was good but not as seasoned as I would have liked. Sandwich was ok ... I prefer a little more complexity to my balsamic but not bad. Visited during Covid-19 and had lunch on the patio. Broad menu, fast service and ultra pleasant staff 👍🏼

Great after church spot near our house. I love that I could get a como. I think their Lemon Chicken Soup is delicious and I liked my BLT in a pretzel bun too. Kid choices as well. Clean and good service. **I have picked up frozen soups before and I haven’t liked them as much when they are fresh.
Elizabeth S — Google review
Tried for the first time for lunch. Just okay. I had their half sandwich and bowl of soup special. Ladles grilled cheese and the She Crab soup. The soup was a little too spicy for me (Cajun seasoning). The grilled cheese I didn’t care for either. I will try something else next time however. Nice place, close to my job.

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch here. The service was friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. Definitely drop in here for a soup and sandwich whenever you are in the area.

Had lunch with with my wife and my mother in law. Great day for soup. It was overcast and had a good windchill. The three of us had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed the bowl and half. Which is a bowl of their incredible soups and half a sandwich or salad. I had the She Crab Soup and Greek salad. It was absolutely delicious and very rich. My wife had a bowl of Cream of Brocolli with Chef salad. My mother in law had Turkey Chilli (a little spicey for her taste buds) with Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Jeff H — Google review
The garden vegetable soup was tasty and I had a half a sandwich with it which was also good. This is not a quick grab and go place, unless maybe if you call ahead. Plan on some wait time. Totally worth checking out, and who doesn't like soup?
