Restaurant
Boneheads BBQ is a casual eatery in Halifax, NS that serves up delicious Southern BBQ dishes. Their menu features hearty options like brisket, shredded chicken, and ribs. One of their standout items is the pulled pork, which is cooked to perfection and seasoned with a special magic spice rub. This place may be small in size but it offers great meats that are sure to satisfy any meat lover's cravings.
Don't let the small size fool you. This place has big flavours and awesome food. The pulled pork was excellent. Not drippy, not dry. The fries are to die for. And get the peanut butter pie, it is rich and smooth, not overly sweet. Would go back regularly if I loved there!
Nick T — Google review
I wanted to love this place, but ended up pretty disappointed. I ordered the brisket and chicken breast with Mac and cheese and coleslaw, and while the Mac and cheese was excellent, the brisket and chicken were nearly bone dry. The chicken was so dry we didn't eat it, and I was expecting the meat to be smoked but I couldn't taste or smell any smoke on it. Staff were very friendly though. If you're ever in Toronto, try Benny's BBQ and ask for their secrets, bring it back to Halifax.
Chris S — Google review
Absolutely phenomenal BBQ. Easy contender for best in the city. I made the mistake of ordering a full rack of ribs. This is a mistake because mere mortals were not meant to have this much meat. Extremely tender, hot and fresh, beautiful flavors, moist but not a dripping mess. Easily 10/10 ribs. I opted for cornbread as my side since I knew I would be eating it later. My wife opted foe the three meat (chicken, brisket, and pulled pork). This too was a mistake as three meats and a side (Mac and cheese) offered up a mountain of protein that could not be beaten. 8/10. My MIL was the most reasonable and had a half rack. The other half of the tray was reserved fries, an ocean of salty potatoes. 10/10 no room for fries. Cornbread is real, genuine cornbread served with whipped honeybutter. So the food was out of this world, but how was the ordering process? Scan a QR from your table, make the order online, put in your table number and wait 10 minutes. I honestly think we had our food within 10 minutes, but say under 15 to be safe. You can also order at the counter. Prices are extremely reasonable considering the quantity and quality. $28 for a full rack of the best ribs I've had in recent years? Unbeatable. Fast, quality and quantity, reasonable prices. Only downside is the dinig room is a touch cramped and there are no wet wipes.

Server was amazing, had no problem recommending and highlighting what she really enjoys. So we ordered a few things that she highlighted and wow wasn't expecting it to be that bad. Spent just over $30 for 3 meats (incredibly small servings) & 2 sides, only thing that was hot was the Mac & Cheese. The Mac & Cheese didn't even taste like anything, paid an extra $1 for brisket which was not only at most lukewarm but super dry (had to chase with beer), the thin ribs were so dry and the chicken was a little I mean little juicy (compared to the others, didn't take much) but no smoke note and the skin wasn't even crispy. The only thing that truly looked like it had a smoke ring was the brisket. The fries were anything but crispy, they were cold and soggy. It honestly felt like I was served food that was maybe 2-3 days old. Not a place that I'd recommend
Scott K — Google review
The service was not very friendly. But the portions were very generous the ribs were undercooked and way too salty. But the pulled pork, brisket and sides were amazing. Prices are reasonable for the portion of food you are getting.
Isabelle Z — Google review
Was excited to try this place, as we were visiting from out of town. But we left pretty disappointed. Arrived at 7:10, restaurant notes open until 8:00. We were met with looks of disappointment and annoyance instead of a greeting. Asked if we were a problem, no one answered. We were told we could only sit at the table closest to the counter because the rest of the restaurant had been cleaned for the night already. Even though the table in the corner was clearly still dirty. Brisket was dry and didn’t taste smoked, tasted like an overcooked Sunday roast, ribs were decent. Sausage was decent but just a smoked hot dog, cornbread was also dry. Weren’t acknowledged by the staff even once after ordering and they didn’t even bother to say thanks or ask how anything was. We were in and out in under 20 minutes. But if you’re not looking to serve customers in the last hour you’re open (we arrive 50 minutes before close) just close. Would not recommend
Gnome T — Google review
Hands down one of my favorite places to treat myself. Always consistent, phenomenal and hot regardless of if I go to the restaurant myself or order via a third party delivery service. Receiving that kind of service is rare this day and age guys, please keep it up! Thank you for making me feel as if my money is valuably spent on a treat for myself. Not once have you ever messed up an item or forgot an add on, and I guarantee you if you sell a full size Mac and cheese with additional adds on of pulled chicken or pulled pork you will make a killing. It is the best Mac! I also tried the mini corn dogs tonight which are also great. I made my own spicy mustard to dip them in (mustard, Dijon and Tobasco) and they were amazing! I recommend you guys offer a spicy mustard dip with them as well!
Bailee S — Google review
Extremely disappointing experience. We were the only customers in the restaurant, so there was plenty of time to make sure our food was done right — but it was anything but. The food was dry, cold, and completely lacking flavor. The mac & cheese was so bland it needed salt and pepper just to get through it, and most of the food tasted like it had been sitting around for days. There was no atmosphere at all — no music, no energy — and the cashier stayed on his phone the entire time. Honestly, if the food had been good, none of that would’ve mattered. Great food can make up for a dull room and distracted staff. But when the meal itself is this bad, everything else just adds to the disappointment. For over $70 for two people, we expected fresh, hot food and some pride in what was being served. Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill — not worth the money or the time. Won’t be back.

Irish pub
Durty Nelly's Irish Pub is a stylish and traditional establishment that was originally built in Ireland and then transported to Canada for assembly. Located in the heart of downtown Halifax, it offers a rowdy Irish pub atmosphere with live music and entertainment. The pub is named after a famous restaurant in Bunratty, Ireland, and aims to authentically emulate Irish culture.
An absolutely amazing dinner we had here. We were recommended this pub, it did not disappoint. The pub was busy but everyone was respectful and it made for an amazing night. We sat up in the more dining style tables so it was a bit quieter but if you went closer to the bar the energy, the fun and the music were great! The stew and chicken burger were delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was yummy too! Will definitely eat here again then next time we visit! For those that appreciate it: yes the bathrooms were very clean!

I ordered the fish that was very tasty with a crispy batter. The Caesar salad was the highlight for me and I’ll probably order it as a main next time. My Dad absolutely loved his seafood chowder. My husband had the Reuben sandwich and fries. He had me try both and it was the best Reuben I’ve tried in a long time. The staff was beyond friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for a great pub experience in the city.
Kristi D — Google review
Came here TWICE in my 3 night trip for a conference. DELICIOUS gluten free buns. I had a Reuben with seasonal beer salad (which was THE BEST with the fresh candied pecans and dried blueberries), and the Craic burger with Spice bag fries. The sumac and curry hints in that spice blend were so impactful but not overpowering. I am already planning a trip with the family in summer 2026 and going to bring them here for sure!
Jeneen M — Google review
Stopped here for some snacks and drinks and it was fantastic! The Blarney Chips were delicious, and after having several chowders on our trip so far this was by far the best! Drinks were good too, and there was a ceilidh happening while we were there and the music was awesome! Service was also spectacular, over server was very quick. Loved our experience here!
Jess M — Google review
My party of two was actually forgotten about and we watched others get seated and served after us, but keen observers will note the 5 star rating. It was just a busy night and the staff was so apologetic and kind (they even gave us a free app) and it was water under the bridge. But more importantly, the food was amazing. The french onion dip, guiness stew, cocktails, and the smoke burger were all delicious, especially the dip. Great staff, great food, great music, highly reccomend.
C.J. — Google review
First off, we came for food, not for drinks. The ambience and service looks like it would be a great place for drinks. However, the food was pretty bad. The Irish Stew was undercooked (beef and potatoes) and sour. The seafood chowder was also way too salty.
Geoffrey M — Google review
The food was very good and our waitress Sally was very friendly, attentive, efficient and professional. We will definitely be going back the next time we visit Halifax. Not expensive for everything we had and very generous portions.
Isabelle Z — Google review
Unfortunately we were overcharged for our meals. Also for our non-alcoholic drinks. The waitress took our bills as soon as we started to pay for it so we didn't even have a receipt to look back on and see what was charged. We did tip even though we were missing all of our gravies. Usually it's a fun place to go but we had two birthdays and left leaving feeling very frustrated and hungry.

Your Father's Moustache is a family-owned establishment that has been a staple in Halifax since 1989. It boasts a renowned rooftop patio, known for its all-day sun access and cozy atmosphere with infrared heaters and fire pits. The pub offers an array of local craft beers, spirits, and a diverse pub menu including vegetarian and vegan options. Their traditional poutine is highly recommended, often served with tasty additions like pulled pork.
Always refreshing to see a place put energy and intention behind pub food without making it some sort of elevated other thing. The fries and the sweet hot mess burger were the best I've had in some time. Clubhouse gas too.
Mateo O — Google review
Your Father’s Moustache was such a fun and memorable stop during our Halifax trip. It’s got that classic English pub feel—but with a quirky moustache-themed twist that gives it extra charm and personality. They’ve got a great selection of craft beers and cocktails—I went with the Purple Haze and really enjoyed it. Refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet. For food, I ordered the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, and wow—it was incredible. Super flavourful, perfectly cooked, and impressively held together even with the runny (and delicious) egg on top. My wife went with the New Orleans pasta, and we were really impressed by how accommodating the kitchen was with her dietary restrictions. They happily swapped out the chicken and ham for shrimp, and the dish still came out beautifully done. You can tell the chef really loves what they do—it absolutely shows in the quality and care of the food. It’s easy to see why this place is a local favourite. Great vibe, great service, and fantastic food and drinks. Highly recommend!

We went for my daughter's birthday. The food was so good. I had the pan fried haddock with mashed potatoes and veggies. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. A great meal and we will go again.
Tanya F — Google review
Had lunch at this well known establishment and I'm happy to report that the special I had was delicious and really fresh tasting. Genevieve (Jen) was really sweet, efficient, and observant so the time in between wait times was shortened as a result of her effort. Cajun Haddock - 10/10 Fries - 9/10 (Personal Preference) Customer service - 10/10 The experience met the expectations I had, so I'll definitely keep visiting.

The best chicken wings I have ever eaten! Had the salt and pepper wings with hot sauce on the side. They were right when they said they are famous. Delicious. Cozy pub atmosphere with a nice view of spring garden. Staff is pleasant. Love it.
P C — Google review
Came in for the Thursday wing special and wasn’t disappointed. Crispy, flavorful, and a great deal. The vibe of the place is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Perfect spot to kick back with friends and enjoy some good food. I’ll definitely be back!
Tario S — Google review
Your Father's Moustache is not the same anymore! Wings night doesn’t exist… costs $1.56 per wing on a Thursday .. you have to purchase a drink + $1 a wing. Not worth it! Sat in the patio no one came to take our order. We switched to downstairs and Kendyl served us. She was great. Prices on the website are less than in restaurant. Probably our last time here
Diana S — Google review
Food is nothing exceptional. Smash burger was ok. Could have had more browning and maybe a bit more salt and pepper, meat wasn’t super flavourful. Bun was nice and fluffy how I like it. One of our burgers had some frits that were a bit burnt which negatively influenced the flavour. Nachos are also ok, ingredients for toppings didn’t seem super fresh, but was ok. Fries were crispy, but hollow Service was good, came out quick. Atmosphere is nice, it’s right in the heart of spring garden so great location. Ok place to go before going somewhere else. Probably would choose somewhere else next time, but wouldn’t be that upset to come back.

It's a great spot for budget eaters, offering classics like steaks, sandwiches, and their renowned burger platter for less than $10. Outstanding service from our waitress Keyaira !! The bartender was also excellent and full of suggestions. The wings were good and hot ! The coconut tequila shots are amazing ! Door staff are accommodating and friendly. The vibe is fun for all adult ages ! In the summer there is a lovely beer garden usually with a live band. And bonus, the beer garden is dog friendly !

The Donair poutine is A+, but they lack food options that aren't fried. This place has a great vibe and I would go back.

We arrived approx 10:15pm. Grabbed a table and waited quite a while to get service. I was actually walking out but the server had my wife call me back. Ordered a pitcher of Coors Light and it wasn't very cold but it's was only $18. Can't rate the food as we didn't have any. The live music was great. The musician was a great guitar player.
Phil P — Google review
Very good pub in downtown Halifax. Right opposite Rogers center and Residence inn. Very good selection of beer on tap and food choices.
Prajwal J — Google review
My husband and I are huge fans of this place. It has changed hands several times since we started visiting. There is no longer the 99 beer on tap, but there are still plenty of choices. The servers are great, friendly and engaging. We've only ever ordered your typical pub food recently, always served to order as both my husband and I like things "our" way. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting downtown Halifax. It's not a 5 star restaurant, but the food and atmosphere are great.
Anne V — Google review
Food was delicious and service was great, but vibe was very confusing. Arrived at around 8 p.m., and there was background music, a live band, and trivia all at the same time. Overestimating to someone that enjoys the simple, but could be ideal for someone that thrives in an energetic environment.

Darrell's Restaurant is a laid-back burger joint with a cozy patio, offering an array of comfort food including pitas and poutine. While renowned for its classic burgers, the real star of the show at Darrell's is their award-winning milkshakes, consistently voted as the best in Halifax for 9 consecutive years. The unpretentious atmosphere and honest, delicious food make it a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.
i'd heard good things about this place from a friend and finally had the time to give it a go. the cheesy garlic bread we got was PHENOMENAL; i would happily just come back for that. our burgers were also super tasty! to top it all off, our server was super friendly and very attentive! i will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone looking for a good burger joint!
J — Google review
Was welcomed as soon as I walked into the door, very friendly staff. Tried the peanut butter burger and it was interesting, but in a good way. The peanut butter was not sweet so it didn't give extra sweetness to the burger but a bit of crunch. I had this paired with Darrell's fries, which is cut wedges coated with I think a Cajun seasoning. I also tried the sweet potato fries. It came with a creamy garlic herb sauce which paired beautifully.

Top knotch service & food with unbeatable prices! Went to Darrells with my family after seeing so many positive things about them online. We had 3 servers come to the table over the course of our meal and every.single.one was awesome. Between checking to see if we needed anything to how the food was, to stopping by and making conversation when we grabbed the bill, excellent. The food arrived quick and it was presented so nicely. Great size portions and the milkshake even came with another full milkshake! The darrell fries are also delicious. If youre looking for a great spot for the price or a place to bring your family to eat, i couldnt recommend darrells enough
Logan L — Google review
Delicious burger and fries (get the Darrel fries!) with friendly service. The patio was lovely. Although the burger was very tasty and filling, it did seem a little expensive compared to similar burgers elsewhere across the country. But their website says they do use quality, local ingredients. So, worth it.

They say they can't do orders through the phone one waitress was nice enough to do it over the phone because I was in the hospital and had no other way to order. The food was great. The second time I wanted to order again the waitress put our order through again (on the phone btw) but when my boyfriend went and picked it up one of the waitresses was a completely rude. Then a Nice waitress came along and gave him our food and she got a nice tip. We don't tip people that have a garbage attitude. Especially if we're picking up our food. Yes all jobs have challenges but maybe hire some people that have better stress management and control over their attitudes. Food was still great though. Just need a better system for ordering and not staff that drive the customers away.
Shann — Google review
We’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it. This time it was just ok. I tried the peanut butter burger and was not a fan. The mustard and the peanut butter just don’t match well together, imo. The bun was really fresh and soft and the burger patty itself had good flavour. Unfortunately the fries were “meh” and the gravy isn’t homemade. It tasted like it was from a can. The kids burger is a great value for the size, my son said he enjoyed it. The steak on the steak poutine resembled shaved deli roast beef. Understanding that the cost of everything has gone up we found it to be expensive. Our meal for 4 was $78 before tip and that included the peanut butter burger, kids cheeseburger and fries, small original poutine, and the steak poutine. We also ordered one Oreo milkshake and a Diet Pepsi.

Freeman's Little New York in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is a cozy spot that brings the essence of the Big Apple to the city. Known for its generous portions of New York-style pizza and classic American dishes, it's a popular choice for late-night bites or casual meals with friends. With two locations offering an extensive menu and cheap beer deals, this 24/7 eatery ensures you can satisfy your pizza cravings at any time.
I’ve always had great experiences here, which is why this bar is my go-to spot for celebrations. This time, we had a group of eight, but the staff managed to take care of everyone quickly and with such friendliness. They also serve brunch, and I’ve tried it a few times—really delicious! Their pizza seems to be a standout, though I haven’t had the chance to try it yet. Definitely on my list for next time! After visiting more than ten times, I can say I’ve never been disappointed.

Great Philly steak and cheese sub! Make sure you use the utensils though as it gets messy by hand. The salad had too much dressing for me and not enough for the husband so probably perfect for the typical person. They’re very generous with the bacon bits, which was nice. They’re very server was decent 👍

The food is delicious!! Service was very fast and friendly as well even during busy rush. Garlic fingers are the best here, must have and add bacon!! 👌🏼

We just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Freemans for the delicious pizzas for our teachers lunch on the last day of our music camp at Scotia Suzuki School. Everyone really enjoyed the lunch SO MUCH! Ten out of ten for service, delivery, and taste!!!!

The place had an old school pizza diner feel to it. Over looked retro in a good way. The food was very tasty and enjoyable! The staff that was working when I was there however didn’t really acknowledge me and spent more time talking to customers who they knew and were friends with no one checked up on me the whole time I was there so I stopped the waitress and asked for the bill and I left but over all great lil place.

the vibe of the place classy, food was moderate, plus point - open late

The cleanest pub in all of Halifax! We were astonished at how spotless the place was, especially compared to their Downtown location. They have many affordable beers and ciders on tap. Freeman’s menu also has a good variety of quality pizzas that doesn’t leave you feeling greasy after eating it, and the quality of ingredients is a far cry above other pizzerias in the area. The service was immaculate and very speedy, their server Sim overhead that it was one of our birthdays and even went above and beyond to give us a coupon for a free pizza for our next visit. I think my group found our go-to bar after yesterday :)

Huge thanks to Freeman’s for the generous donation of pizzas for our community event at Common Roots Urban Farm this weekend! The pizza was great and such a hit with everyone. We’re so grateful for the support and generosity.

The Lion's Head Tavern, a beloved neighborhood pub with over 50 years of history in Halifax's North End, recently relocated to a new spot and now features a rooftop terrace called The Terrace at the Lions Head. This three-level building offers classic pub fare in a casual, wood-lined setting and an outdoor patio area where patrons can enjoy exclusive drinks like frozen cocktails and sangria while taking in views of the Hydrostone area.
The Lion’s Head is one of my go-to spots in the North End when I want a chill, friendly vibe. The rooftop patio is the real star — perfect for soaking up the sun. Service is always quick and friendly, even when it’s busy, and having lots of free parking nearby makes it an easy choice. It’s also a great spot for larger groups — plenty of space and a lively atmosphere without feeling cramped. Food-wise, it’s mostly solid with the occasional standout. The sweet potato fries, burger, salad, mac and cheese, and a chicken wrap with soup I tried once as a feature were all great. The wings were just okay — not bad, but not a must-order for me. All in all, a fun neighborhood pub with a killer patio, reliable food, and staff who make you feel welcome.

Went here yesterday with friends, we ordered nachos for the table they were decent, ordered a spicy burger, a lions head burger, a fish and chips and a pork mac n cheese. These were about the worst burgers I've had in Halifax, they were overcooked to the point that they were hard and to top it off cold in the center, even the buns weren't toasted. The fish was also overcooked to being hard but surprisingly the batter wasn't cooked through. Maybe the meat was pulled out the freezer and cooked but was very badly done. The mac n cheese was ok. Will not be going back again.

Lovely place, we didn't have to wait to be seated, large dining room, comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress and hostess were great. Would recommend 😊

Lunch with friends I got the Lions head burger, which was fairly decent it had small amount of heat which I enjoy . Fries were thin and crunchy but fairly basic. Also got a side order of sweet potato fries with a dipping sauce,, which were great. My friend had the veggie Powerball which was a fairly large salad. Finished things off with the apple crisp and brownie squares, which were pretty good. I’ll definitely be back. They have a pretty decent size menu with a wide variety of options. They also have a breakfast menu. I’ll definitely be back to check out the Elvis poutine and fish and chips. I heard they were great.

Nice place! Our server was on point, we asked for the baseball game on and she made it happen! Food was good. I had the donair flatbread and hubby had wings. Nice open space. Easy to park and get to.

Can’t say enough good things about the Lions Head Tavern. Just held a hockey reunion on the second floor of the establishment. The space was absolutely perfect. Tables and booths for those that wanted to sit down, catch up and have a bite to eat. Plenty of room for those that wanted to stand and mingle. Great food and the beer was cold! The staff that took care of us were amazing. Friendly, polite and by the smiles on their faces , they were having as good a time as we were. I would highly recommend the second floor area for any type of reunion, business function or any other gathering that requires a functional space. Again, thanks to all staff that helped make our reunion a success. Cheers

Had steak and fries gravy mushrooms and onions, steak was tasteless as if was boiled, was over cooked as I ordered blue rare . Steak was not seasoned at all not even salt and pepper. Fries consisted of some normal and a lot of small over cooked charred bits of fries . Gravy came from a can I believe it’s Heinz can gravy. Very over priced for what I was served. I will not return or recommend

This place is my favorite in the hrm. I've tried atleast half of their menu and everything is 10/10. Personal favorite would be the hot honey chicken burger, honorable mention for the seafood chowder. The service is the fastest I've ever had, I think the longest we ever waited for food was 15 minutes. Highly recommend :)

HFX Sports Bar & Grill is a lively establishment that offers a diverse selection of food and drinks, along with multiple large TVs to cater to the needs of sports enthusiasts. This sports bar provides an upbeat atmosphere where patrons can enjoy various sporting events while indulging in delicious tavern-style cuisine and beverages from a full bar. They even have Wing Day on Thursdays, where customers can receive a free wing with every order, making it an ideal spot for sports fans looking for both entertainment and great food.
Stopped in to Halifax Sports Bar after a concert to eat and catch the hockey game. It's my first time being there since it was The Palace! I thought the space was AMAZING. Exactly what we were looking for and the food was ridiculously delicious. We had nachos and chicken wings (I had already eaten three wings before taking the below picture). Wings came with an amazingly yummy bbq honey bacon sauce. The wings came out of the kitchen SO HOT and fresh!! I was very impressed and will definitely be back just for the wings!

October 13th, 2016 ONE OF THE BEST WINGS! THURSDAY WINGS SPECIAL WILL COST $8 A POUND (12 wings a pound) cost per wing is approximately $0.66 no obligation of buying a drink with it. Places that will charge $0.50 per wing will require you to buy a drink that will cost you $2 or more which will make the cost per wing pretty similar to HFX except HFX wings r big. I got a best customer service. She came and introduced her self. Got us menus followed by water. Then asked if we need help with menu - took the order. She was very patient n helpful. She made suggestions that helped. The service was fast! Mind you the place is not overly crowded. The food quality is great. They are not greasy. You have an option to have sauce on side or on the wings. Decent amount of sauce options. The Buffalo chicken Flat bread is delicious too. This will be my go to place for wings. Will keep updating.

This is a place that shows various sports broadcasts as a sports bar. If you order one wing every Thursday for Wing Day, one wing is free. The advantage is that you can watch sports comfortably with beer. What was especially impressive was that there are generations of TVs in the bathroom, so you can watch TV while doing your business. I was doing business while watching golf, but I couldn't see all of it because there was a person waiting behind me.

Spent an evening watching the World Juniors, was great. Super impressed with their chicken wings, in my opinion their 1 lb was more than 1 lb, or all the other downtown pubs are less than 1 lb. Waitress was super nice as well. Will definately go again.
Jason S — Google review
We ordered nachos paid for extra cheese this is what was brought to our table. We had to pick through the chips which were extremely overseasoned to find any chip with cheese or other topings. Probably the worst nachos I've had at a restaurant. On the plus side my husband had a burger and said it was good but not worth the price. Highly overpriced for quality of food.
Kayla D — Google review
I gave a 3 because of the server. We were standing at an empty table for a few minutes and several times she passed us until we called out to her. The table was cleared and cleaned we ordered(to which she wasn't sure of what juices they had). Food was tasty as usual and it was wings night and truly the chefs never disappoint. However, the server towards the end of the service it's obvious she was overwhelmed and we were waiting for our bill to which she kept passing our table going to other tables close by and not saying anything to us. I eventually called out to her whilst she was once again passing by and she rolled her eyes and then gave the fake customer service smile; being in the customer service industry i chose to leave it alone as it's very difficult these days but had to mention. Perhaps utilize the bar upstairs so that it'd make it a tad bit easier on the servers as they have to go up and down the stairs. I will always return but expect the service to match up with the food and the institution.

We we to there for burger week and the burger tasted really good but it was a burger from their regular menu so that was a little disappointing. It was a little loud but that's expecting when visiting a sports bar. Very sleek interior and lots of seating. It's a great spot if you are a sports fan.

The Pint Public House in Halifax is a lively sports pub offering a wide selection of beer pitchers and classic bar bites, including wings with 40 different sauces. The venue boasts a vibrant atmosphere with a fusion of musical genres that will get you moving on the dance floor. It's known for having one of the best rooftop patios in the city, attracting sports fans, after-work crowds, and weekend revelers. The extensive drink menu includes craft beers, cocktails, wine, and seltzers.
The Pint is an incredible spot for hosting events! We held an All Ages Taylor Swift trivia brunch this weekend with over 125 attendees, and the energy was amazing. Even with such a large crowd arriving all at once, the staff handled it like pros—staying friendly, organized, and working hard to get everyone served as quickly as possible. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, classic Eggs Benedict, and salmon Eggs Benny—all were delicious! The hollandaise sauce was especially good, and the side salads were fresh and well done. The atmosphere was perfect for our event, and we’re already excited to come back for both future events and brunch again soon.

Love The Pint for a night out for drinks and to dance! The food is pretty good, especially the nachos!! I had the lobster roll this afternoon and it was heavy on the mayo, so I wouldn’t get that again, but I’m sure I’ll be back!

Went here twice. First time was pretty dead on trivia night; but we had a great time in the basement playing their massive selection of games at a really good price. The second time the place was packed, and it was on a Thursday night. So it has very different vibes depending on when you go; both equally good depending on what you want. They had really good reasonably priced spirits when we went. My big complaint, when we went the second time; they told us that you only get like half the tokens for games for your money, so $1 = 1 token. But that they had adjusted the token price of the games to reflect this and cut it in half. They said they simply didn't have a big inventory of tokens on hand which is why they did this. But the games we played still cost the posted amount. So the 4 player pacman cost us $8 a round (2 tokens each). That's preeeeetty high for a game of pacman.

Had Jason as a bartender the other night. He was absolutely amazing! The service was awesome! It was my first time in Halifax and he was so personable recommending some must see spots. He really knew the city and it made our trip that much better! Coworkers were saying he’s like the mayor of Halifax because of how personable he is and knows everyone. Highly recommended the pint and if you have Jason as a bartender you will love it. One of the funniest guys I’ve ever met!

Stopped by The Pint before Lynyrd Skynyrd concert for a bite and pre drinks. Our server Allison was very helpful in recommending a particular wing sauce that was comparable to a mild sauce that now I would say is my go to. Excellent service.

If you're on the hunt for a fantastic dining experience in Halifax, look no further than Wing’n it. This vibrant eatery specializes in mouthwatering wings that are both big and juicy, cooked to perfection without any greasiness. With an impressive array of sauces—including several dill options—there's something to satisfy every palate. The platter is a must-try, allowing you to sample four different flavors at once.
Great first time visit. Food was a tad expensive but tasted great. Service was excellent. Dining room was very clean and tidy although a tad small. Overall had a great experience and will return in the future.

Not the best “wing night” deal, but it’s ok (8 wings for $10). The wings are really good, and lots of flavors to keep you coming back They have a spicy wing challenge (as seen in the photo) for a $10 coupon, but honestly wouldn’t recommend. The spicy flavour is in my opinion pretty nasty. It’s more of a spicy “sludge”. The coupon is requires you spend $30, not including alcohol! So really not a great deal.
Rhys M — Google review
The location is great, but the decor needs a revamp! 😩 Cleanliness and wait times were acceptable. Order presentation was okay, wings were 👌🔥 but dry. Taste was good and crunchy! Prices are $$. 🤔 Needs menu and decor upgrades. Might visit again! 🤞 #Restaurant #Review #Food #Wings #Decor #Menu

Wings were big and juicy. Cooked all the way through and not greasy. The selection of sauces is incredible!! I love dill anything and they have several dill combinations. I tried 8 different flavours and loved them all. The server was excellent. She helped me pick the different flavours based on what I told her I liked. The platter is the way to go! You get to choose 4 different flavours. I also got a Cobb salad. I love that the dressing is served on the side so I can control how much goes on there. Overall I had a great experience and would go again.
Breanne M — Google review
Honestly, there are places that say they have the best wings in town. They are lying. I love wings and flavor, hands down this is the best spot for your clucking fix. They blend their flavors to make new ones that are actually good. You don't leave feeling gross cause of nasty greasy meals but full and satisfied. The staff are awesome, literally one of the waiters is the most positive giant you will meet, and will make you smile on your worst day. It's super annoying, just the worst. (sarcasm for those that can't read between the lines) The atmosphere is bordering the stratosphere (pun intended) it has an aerial theme around aircraft. Just a great spot to be and eat. they can also accommodate large orders and groups easily.

Amazing wings, I had the Jetstream flavour which is BBQ with ranch drizzled on top. 10 piece wing dinner with fries.

Okay, listen up — I might be making a terrible mistake telling you this, but here goes… Our server was super duper sweet — just darling — the kind of person who makes you instantly feel at home. Then came the food. Oh. My. Goodness. The wings? Caribou — maple honey garlic — and they were hands down the best wings I’ve had in my entire life. The onion rings? Crispy, golden, perfect. Honestly, this place is so good I feel like I’m spilling a top-secret foodie treasure. If it’s packed next time I come, I’ll only have myself to blame.

If you're on the hunt for mouthwatering fried chicken, look no further than Radish Chicken in Halifax! This cozy spot may have limited seating, but it makes up for it with its incredible menu that caters to every craving. The fried chicken is a standout, boasting a perfectly seasoned and crispy batter that delivers an amazing crunch with just the right amount of spice. Whether you opt for their wings, quarter leg, or chicken sandwich, each bite is packed with flavor.
Deliciously crispy, slightly spicy, salty fried chicken! I’ve had their wings, the quarter leg, and the chicken sandwich. The meat is seasoned so well and the batter is slightly thick but it makes for an amazing crunch. It is a little bit spicy but I love it that way. The place is small with limited seating, it’s more of a takeout place but they do package their food really well so it does not go soggy. This is my go to for wings. If you’re lucky you’ll get an extra wing ;)

Radish Chicken is hands down the best spot in Halifax for chicken lovers! The menu is awesome with a variety that satisfies every craving. The chicken here is absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. The value for money is great too, making it a go-to for a satisfying meal. The staff are super friendly, always making you feel welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great chicken in Halifax! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jeizza — Google review
Chicken sandwich is virtually inedible with tough chicken and soggy lettuce. It went down the garbage chute in my building. Chicken wings are barely passable, although the “two pieces” is really just one wing split in half. Coleslaw came with just the slightest whisper of mayonnaise as seasoning.
Corey C — Google review
I purchased the 2 wrap combo... food was plenty to fill me up... but my lettuce was not fresh.... I had to pick it off. Chicken was delicious... but thin... and fries were great with the herb and garlic.

Today's obituary :The colonel is died, he was KO'ed by radish chicken. This is hands down the best chicken in Halifax. Better than Popeyes, or the CHKN CHOP.
Adam P — Google review
Probably the best fried chicken in Atlantic Canada. Not to mention the fried oyster mushrooms skewers, which were excellent. Radish Chicken has an excellent variety of great options. The only food option that I would say is a bit of a let down is the fries. They're good and well seasoned, but nothing to write home about; an average among greats. The food is very well priced as well considering how incredible it is. Especially compared to some other fried chicken shops. The service I received was excellent as well, no complaints there. I personally don't care too much about the atmosphere when it comes to something like fried chicken, but if you do, then I would describe it as kind of bland.
