Nestled in the heart of Savannah, Savannah Taphouse is a vibrant tavern that seamlessly blends an industrial-chic vibe with an upscale sports bar atmosphere. Housed in the historic Avon Theater, this spot invites you in with its charming movie-style marquee. Once inside, you'll be greeted by high-resolution TVs showcasing every game imaginable while you explore their impressive selection of over 100 bottled beers and 40 draft options.
Didn't know it was a steelers bar and went for a bengals vs steelers Thursday night game! Amazing atmosphere, great staff. If your a bourbon drinker talk to Ulysses- never met anyone outside of KY with his bourbon knowledge. Id highly recommend this for anyone needing to watch there team while away from home!

We stopped by Savannah Taphouse on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed the lively atmosphere—great music and TVs everywhere, perfect for a chill evening. The food overall was good, and the drink selection was impressive with plenty of options to choose from. However, the dessert was a bit of a letdown. We ordered the key lime pie, but it looked and tasted more like a cake than a traditional pie. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but she did forget an item from our order, and it took a surprisingly long time to get a simple salad. That said, the place was clean and well-kept, which we appreciated. With a few small improvements, it could easily be a go-to spot!
Olha B — Google review
Beer was good but even though the bar was somewhat empty the bartender didn’t care to interact with us that much. They seemed preoccupied by talking to her co workers. Maybe it was just an off night. We would still go back here again because it seemed like a place that had a fun atmosphere

Me and my wife went Sunday evening and everything was great. We were greeted and sat down right away. The server was very friendly and had a bunch of recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu overall. We got the waffle loaded fries as an appetizer which were so good. Definitely ask for the fluffer nutter beer (not on tap but def worth it). On the other hand their tap list is definitely worth a visit.
Hector M — Google review
We looked at the online menu to help decide our food and the actual food was not represented by the photos at all. MUCH smaller portions, we had a 7:45 reservation and weren’t even greeted until 7:55-8 at the hosts stand, our food came before our drinks, overall would not be back. Food tasted decent & Our server was nice and we don’t blame her for any of it but disappointed. We had 7+ people so many food items were ordered. The cheese for the pretzels came in a ketchup canister, NOT a skillet….

We had an amazing time at the Savannah Tap House thanks to Cassidy! She was absolutely fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything even with the place packed for the Steelers game. She made sure our drinks were always full and checked in often, even when she was clearly busy. The energy during the Steelers game was awesome, and Cassidy made it even better with her great attitude and quick service. You can tell she really cares about her guests having a great experience. If you’re coming to watch a game or just grab a bite in Savannah, definitely ask for Cassidy — she’s the best! 🖤💛
Braden S — Google review
Had a good time at Savannah Taphouse. Lots of TVs downstairs to watch the game. We were told lots of TVs upstairs didn't work so be warned. Beer was good. For appetizers we had the queso dip which was great and wings which we liked. Had the buffalo sauce and BBQ. Burgers were good but felt like the party was a little small for the bun and dry. Waffle fries were great. Was excited for the pretzel bun but it wasn't great. Would go back to watch a game
Ryan Y — Google review
Ordered a beer, the first one I got was what I ordered. The second one was absolutely not what I ordered, but I drank it anyways. I ordered a flatbread and took off 2 ingredients. The first time they brought it with everything on it. The remake they took off the 2 ingredients, but didn’t include the rest of the ingredients that I wanted and I did not say to take off. I wasn’t about to send it back for a third time so whatever. Never got the side of fries it came with either. Didn’t bother saying anything because I was just annoyed at that point. Won’t be back! Attentiveness from the waitress was pretty good though.

If you're looking for a sports-centric neighborhood hub with bar food and ample beer choices, Tailgate Sports Bar & Grill is the place to go! They also have pool, darts and themed nights which make it the perfect spot for a quick bite or some fun in the evenings.
I have to start with the food. The loaded potato skins and the breaded lemon pepper kickin chicken was soooooooooo good. The chicken was fresh, hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The potato skins was so fresh I actually ate the skins with every bite and I never did that before. It had an airy, crispy crunch to it; yet packed with so much goodness and flavor. For only $24. I went just to sit down and eat. As I sat there and ate I observed the team—everyone was working so hard and diligently to meet the customers needs. The energy level was high and the staff looked happy to be there putting in that work on a busy Saturday night. I’d come back again and again. See picture.

This is my favorite chicken wing place in Savannah. I love breaded wings, and theirs always hit the spot. I got the Carolina gold and spicy ranch today, great flavors. Lunch was great and I was in and out pretty quick. Service was great too. It does look like a good place to go get some drinks at too, but I was working. Go check them out!
Eric B — Google review
Newest Update: My husband and I visit Tailgate Sports Bar & Grill often. It is always a positive experience. Went in Saturday 9/14/24 to watch the GA/KY game. One of my sisters met us there. She had never been before. She liked it. Our server was Sam. She was attentive, had a great attitude, and got us our beers and food very quickly. We can't wait to go back. Went to watch a football game Tuesday afternoon. Not many people in at the time. Had lunch and a couple of beers. Our 1st server was Jaci. She was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our beers and food. I got the Cuban sandwich with a side salad. It was so good. Our 2nd server, Caitlyn, came on right before we left. She was attentive as well.

Service was great. Very friendly and good sense of humor. Food was was great. So far we have had the pizza dilla. Amazing. With no sauce it is still moist and amazing. The garlic cheeses curds are so juicy. We have tried the wings and not impressed.

If you are on the South side of Savannah, this is the best sports bar around.. But if you're anywhere in the area, this is the best place to get wings, burgers, and even salads! The burgers are absolutely amazing, but you can order the wings either breaded or naked. And then dress them in saucesor dry rubs. The bartenders are gorgeous and even sometimes friendly! Sometimes. But Lindsey is always friendly. And pretty cool too. She's my favorite person ever.
Jeremy H — Google review
Went for a quick lunch during peak football hours on a Sunday. The service was good and the girls on duty were very attentive and got our order in fast. The food came out and was great. My burger was cooked how I asked and additional things I added were precise. They have projectors for games, pool tables and other games also!
Khris H — Google review
My first visit to Tailgate and the wings did not disappoint. The lemon pepper, their version is "dry & naked", was definitely on point, fresh, hot and a good size. (Their wings are available "naked" or breaded, with a list of flavors for each type available - a nice touch that can satisfy most people's tastes.) I ordered 8 wings, which came out with a side of tots done with chili and cheese. Unfortunately, the side dish was not up to par, arriving at the table only warm and quickly became colder at the table. The service started well, as we were greeted quickly and our order taken with the initial drink order delivered promptly. However, towards the end of our visit our waitperson was absent for way too long and after a 20 minute wait for the check we wondered if we might have to go find some help. Not good, since that also meant drink refills didn't happen.
Michael K — Google review
my friend came down from Virginia, we had a nice time just enjoying each other's company, my first time here, the staff was VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE, and it wasn't just one server that checked on us, I'll go back the next time he's in town, he's a total vegetarian, so he had grilled cheese and tots, fries, I ate wings which were delicious 😋

Treylor Park is a vintage-chic restaurant with a charming outdoor seating area that offers creative Southern comfort eats, cocktails, and beer. The menu features unique options like peanut butter and jelly wings and fried bologna alongside more traditional fare, making it a great spot for adventurous eaters as well as those seeking familiar dishes. The super-casual dress code adds to the relaxed atmosphere where diners can enjoy their meal in the fresh air on a cozy patio adorned with string lights.
We really enjoyed our meal here! The food was unique and so yummy! Chris was our server, and he was phenomenal. 10/10. We really loved the Treylor Park Nachos. The pimento deviled eggs were also yummy, and the pancake chicken tacos were delicious. The Ahi tuna sliders were really good, too. Oh, we tried to Treylor Park cocktail they had as well. It was fun and delicious. Definitely give this place a try!

What a cool place! Treylor Park has such a unique and off-the-wall menu — definitely not your typical spot. The name alone grabs your attention, and the vibe inside lives up to it. The staff was incredibly courteous, and the food? Absolutely delicious. I had a great glass of sweet tea that hit the spot. Highly recommend this place to anyone — the food is fantastic!
JB T — Google review
I came here for the second time and it was just as good as the first. The staff are very nice and friendly, which makes the atmosphere welcoming. The food is delicious, full of flavor and well prepared. I also love that they’re open until 1 am, perfect for late-night cravings. The only downside was that the bathroom wasn’t very clean, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it’s definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

Fun eclectic diner vibe with friendly staff. Breakfast burrito 🌯 8.5/10 - packed full of goodness with grilled onion, bell pepper and tomato on top. Yum. Cheesy grits: 9/10 - these turned my yuck into yum! I won't ever pass on cheesy grits again. Diner Club: 8/10 - came out hot with plenty of avacado and extra tomato like I asked. Delish. Coffee - best diner coffee I've ever had! Military discount offered. Atmosphere - eclectic and fun, bar seating too Staff - amazing. Friendly and hospitable. Don't forget to leave me a ❤️! #MilitaryFriendly #Comfortfood #TreylorPark

We came to Treylor Park because of the many good reviews on Google. We wanted to try the many different combinations of foods, they were not usual! We loved the atmosphere - indoor or outdoor, the staff was great & the food was good! I had the popular Apple pie with bacon chicken sandwich with waffle fries. It was good but a bit dry. My husband had the Sloppy Joe with banana peppers. It was delicious! It's not too hot, either! Our grandson had the Smash burger, and he loved it. The best part of the meal was the pb & j chicken wings! We all thought they were great! 😋 Our neighbors had the hot dog and nachos, and they raved about how good they were. Our fountain drinks were good. Our server was outstanding! The place is small, but it must be a local favorite because on a Monday evening, it was packed! You will have to wait a few minutes. Nice cozy place for a bite to eat or share a snack and have a cocktail or beer.
Tracy D — Google review
Amazing and unique dishes. I got the PB & J wings-it’s like Thai peanut chicken with peach jam. The drinks are also very creative and so tasty! Definitely, I’ll be back!!

✨ First Visit: One, Two, Three, Four pictures are from our first visit. The food, drinks, and service were exceptional. The cherry cola drink and the Miyagi beef tacos were probably my favorite. They’re open until 2 AM, which is great since many restaurants nearby close by 12. Prices are reasonable for the good taste and quality you get. ⸻ ✨Second Visit: Pictures 5, 6 and 7 are from our second visit. They changed the tacos, and they tasted just okay this time. The drinks were also just okay, and the service was subpar compared to our first visit. Probably going to give this restaurant another chance, hoping they get back to the level we enjoyed the first time.

The drinks are very interesting, and good!!! The food is very good!!!! The best waffle fries I have ever eaten! The service was superb!!! The place is very laid back, and casual. A great place to go with friends!!! Wish it was located in my city!!!

Cotton & Rye is a creative New American gastropub located in a former 1950s bank with an all-American bar and a deck. The restaurant was born when the building was sold and transformed into Cotton & Rye by Brian and his partners. Initially envisioning a New York style deli shop, they settled on creating this unique dining spot. The sleek interior of the remodeled mid-century modern bank wowed visitors, who were impressed by the level of service received.
I highly recommend this place. Everything was excellent. We started with the award-winning crispy chicken wings. They were a little messy to eat but very good. For entrées, we had the local trout and the pork chop. Both were flavorful, but I would pick the pork chop because the portion was larger and it came with collard greens and potatoes. We also added a side of Brussels sprouts, which were crispy and seasoned well, and they included fried okra with it. The service was outstanding. Asia was friendly, attentive, and explained the menu clearly. I will definitely come back, and I suggest making reservations.
Vincent M — Google review
The waiter had the detail of an engineer in describing things. The wife had me on the app with her shrimp and grits excelling over my octopus despite how good it was once I got into the jalapeño scrudge. With entrees came a new round, though. I went for the coulette/picana and got scared when they wouldn't do medium rare+; the last coulette I got medium rare was underdone so I hesitantly went for medium. Fear not! the chef said,.and it came out, and it was good. I took a bite and it was okay... then my tongue said "hang on a sec...", and things settled.... or something started to wake up... and my taste buds said "yooooo" as the dance party started. See menu snip so I don't have to type the party attendees out. My entree took redemption over the wife's app.

One of my favorite restaurants my girlfriend and I go out to. Our waitress was really kind and nice. She was always attentive and knew when we needed to be checked on. Drinks, delectable. Food, fantastic. That candy bar though? To die for. The candy bar is so good here that I bring it to my mother all the way in Atlanta. It is her favorite dessert. Overall another excellent experience and dinner, will be returning shortly.

My first time in Savannah and I think this was a great introduction. The staff was friendly and attentive. The drinks were really good, and the food was very tasty! I particularly loved the shrimp and grits, Mac n cheese, Brussels, and fish dip. The food was excellently seasoned! Our server Asia was so nice and kept us well fed and watered the entire time and her suggestions for food to try were some of my favorites.

Do yourself a favor and just come here. You will thank yourself. This is the choices my partner and I made while dining here. The Local Trout (chef’s kiss), the Almighty most delicious Fried Chicken I have experienced in a long while, and top of the line dirty martini. *SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT* This is a MUST. We experienced the candy bars and chocolate cake. So incredibly delicious. There is a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The dress is dressy casual I would say. I would visit Savannah again just to experience this restaurant again.
Alyssa C — Google review
The flavors and spices are gourmet-incredible. I’m not surprised they won an award for the crispy wings ($17), you have to have them. The service was excellent and for being hailed as THE restaurant to go to in Savannah, the prices aren’t bad. It’s all about the food, but I think a lil music to enhance the atmosphere would be good.
Mandy U — Google review
This is a fantastic restaurant. Right from the beginning it felt like it would be a great dining experience and it was! When we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly manager named Simon who sat us immediately. Our server Patrick was outstanding. He was professional, helpful, personable and made great recommendations. The food was excellent and delicious! The Uni Bucatini, Crispy Chicken Wings, Beet Salad, Trout and Peanut Butter Pie were all exceptional! The cocktails were also fantastic. The best Cuba Libra ever! Overall, it was an awesome dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it yourself!

Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
The Juicy Seafood in Savannah, Georgia is a top choice for seafood enthusiasts. This casual restaurant offers a variety of dining options including sit-down, takeaway, and delivery. The menu features mouthwatering fresh fish, fried calamari, shrimp, lobster, and even delectable chicken wings in Lemon Pepper or Cajun flavors. Specializing in cajun-style seafood boils, the restaurant allows customers to customize their boil-bag by choosing their preferred type of seafood.
We traveled here from NC this weekend for a cheer competition. My daughter’s birthday was yesterday and she has been craving a good seafood boil for months. I researched places and this one popped up with the most consistent reviews. While on the ferry I asked a native the same question and she recommend juicy seafood as well. DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Snow crab was meaty and. It wimpy full of meat. Hands down one of the best I have had anywhere!!!! Server Bri was amazing. Hands down the best. Glad we took the chance as you should you will not be disappointed. I will come back even if just to eat.

We were in Savannah on a cousins weekend getaway. I saw this place and we decided to stop in. The food was delicious. I had the seafood platter and big bang deviled eggs. The eggs had shrimp on it them in Cajun sauce. I loved them! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood. If I lived in Savannah, I would definitely come back. I would like to know if it is one in Miami.

The Juicy seafood restaurant is a top notch, I have visit the subsidiary in Charleston, and I wasn’t disappointed. we are traveling to Florida so we decided to have a stop over. My husband is a good customer. The seafood bowl was delicious, it was cook to perfection; the attendant Britany was very attentive, the atmosphere is very cosy. We enjoyed every bite. I will sure visit again.

I have been here so many times but this was the first time I have taken pictures. I was very upset that I was told I have to pay a minimum of a $30 tip. My bill way $180 plus tip so $210. It was 2 adults and 3 kids total. I’m not complaining about the bill amount .I am complaining that I didn’t have an option when it came to the tip. This is unacceptable. Customers should be able to choose what they want to tip. Not have it mandatory of a minimum 18 % because, I spent over a certain amount. This was my last time going here.

The seafood is plentiful, the broth is delicious, and the crab legs are especially fantastic! The servers are very enthusiastic!

Seafood just taste amazing here in Lowcountry, Savannah, Georgia! The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was fresh, delicious and flavorful! I had fried catfish and fries!! 🫶🏽😊
Natina H — Google review
10/10 Food was amazing! I got the 1 lb crab boil which comes with two potatoes and half a corn on the cob and everything was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was on point, not too much and perfectly balanced to satisfy the taste buds. I also ordered a side of Cajun fries and wow, those fries are top tier! Probably my favorite fries ever now. The service was great. Our waiter was so nice and accommodating and the food came out very fast. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Probably the best seafood place in Savannah, GA!

Wasn't sure what to expect but it was delicious and the service was great. One tiny note, the bathrooms need more attention. I do love that they put lids on drinks so that flying crab bits don't land in your drinks.

I was excited when I saw this location still open so we had to stop in since its been awhile. To our surprise it was extremely hot inside the dining area but we toughed it out just for the spinach dip! Lol It was just as good as I remember as well as the ultimate bacon Cheeseburger. The only thing was it was so hot inside we couldn't finish our food or our drinks 😩

Wide open dining area. Bar. Lots of televisions. I'm guessing it's hopping on game nights. There on a Tuesday at 5, not busy, but getting busy as we left. Service was great. Food was good, but I'll stick with BWW, I think.

These were the most dry and unflavored wings we ever had anywhere. We ordered both, bones-in and no-bones chicken "wings" and everything was dry. The platter with 15 pieces did only come with 13 pieces. We picked several different flavors and all you could tell was if they were a little spicy or not, however they did not have any actual taste of the sauces to them. To charge $22 for a platter as in the attached picture is ridiculous. The only reason that we would maybe come back is to grab a draft beer at the bar.

Great atmosphere and beer selection, but it doesn’t make up for dry wings with little to no sauce. Will not be coming back until they fix their kitchen, which is unfortunate because it seems like they have cool events/live music.

Stopped in for lunch loved the wings and all the flavors everything was hot they even had a special on wings - service was great - saw a sign on some nights they have live music i will have to check that out next time

For a place that calls themselves wild wing cafe I’d expect the wings to be good. Mid at best. The wings seem like they are double fried, they are initially cooked then chilled then they finish them off in the fryer when they need to serve them. Wings are soggy but somehow also overcooked. Sauce selection was plentiful but none really jumped out at me as being unique. My take, I’d rather go to a chain wing place, it would probably be better. Service is good.
Lars B — Google review
Even though the food is great the service was horrible. I ordered take out and after I was told to go to 3 different places, the actual takout window was hardly visibly marked and the parking surrounding the takeout window was taken by employees and eat in customer. They need to mark it for take out parking to have it better serve all customers.

Carey Hilliard's is a popular family restaurant in Savannah, GA that serves barbecue and seafood. The restaurant has been around since the 1960s and is known for its tasty food. The barbecue pork is one of Carey Hilliard's specialties, and it is served with their secret recipe Brunswick stew as well as toast, pickles, and onions. The service was great when I visited last week, and the chef who was working late was outstanding.
We were skeptical when we first pulled up as the place looks a bit dated and ran down but it was around 10pm at night and nothing else was open. Tbh otherwise we wouldn't have chosen this place. But WOW! We were lucky we accidentally found this place! The food was amazing! Tasted home cooked, like Grandma had just cooked us dinner. And the carhop was fantastic!! She was very attentive and helpful and just great customer service all around! Great place and definitely recommend!!!

The hostess was very unprepared greeting our group and there were dirty tables all around us that stayed all dirty throughout the duration of our meal. The staff were unprofessional and there was white particles floating around in my water I almost didn’t trust the food. We all got wings and it was pretty decent but the vibe of the place really brought this visit down.

I did a car side pickup! Unfortunately, it took a little longer than usual to receive the order! For the first time, I ordered the hot wings, "half off" and to be honest, they needed to be half off! I was slightly disappointed with the extra, breading/coating! I know not to order them again. For the most part, their food has/is always fresh! They are worth a visit and reasonable...considering the current prices to eat out!

It's a Savannah original, the place that if you've never been, you really need to go. They have a wide selection of food on their menu. As a kid. I used to love to go there for the fried Chicken. As an adult I go there for the pulled pork. Reasonably priced and better food than most of the national chain sit-down restaurants

What happen to the shrimp salad..It taste was awful looked different. Where was the Shrimp? It tasted as if the Hilliard s use shrimp paste. What a terrible taste. My waiter vanished. So, I walked it up to the front counter and gave it to the lady. I then order a plain bake potato with out butter or sour cream. It was buttery enough..Grew up here and never had shrimp salad like that there bf....the grandkids must be running the restaurant and cutting back on the quality of the food from what Mr. HILLIARD SR. STARTED OUT WITH. Will be a while bf I return.

Server forgot utensils, tables needing to be cleaned while 3 servers at the front are gossiping. Brings out my me and my father's food, no utensils and had to ask for both tartar and honey mustard, youd expect when you order shrimp that it was obvious tartar is a must, I could say the same for the chicken fingers and hush puppies I ordered and had to ask for honey mustard. Love the food, but jeez this was bad service.
JayJay — Google review
If you looking for some reasonable priced seafood this may be the spot! Pros the fish and hush puppies were great! The server was nice and we were seated pretty fast however it took them awhile to get to our table order. Not a huge fan of the shrimp and the potato and Mac cheese at best was lukewarm, will come again for the fish!

Chicken wings restaurant
520 Wings is a locally owned fast-food joint that offers fried chicken, fish meals, and burgers in a simple venue. Originally built as a bank in 1950, Cotton & Rye was cleverly remodeled to create a great atmosphere for diners to enjoy their crispy chicken wings made with spicy honey, sumac, and chipotle morita. The restaurant also boasts a wide selection of American-made whiskeys.
520 Wings emerges not just as a restaurant but as a contender for the crown of Georgia’s best wings. This isn’t a place that thrives on frills or pretense; it’s where the humble chicken wing is elevated to an art form, where flavor, heat, and technique converge to create something that’s deceptively simple yet undeniably sublime. 520 Wings is a bastion of comfort, a no-nonsense spot that welcomes you with the warm embrace of a local haunt, where the focus is squarely on what matters most: the wings. Here, the wings are not just food; they’re a declaration, a culinary statement that resonates with the soul of Savannah and echoes the passion of the chefs who craft them. Imagine the perfect wing — crispy on the outside, succulent within, each bite a cascade of flavors, each sauce a testament to the art of balance and boldness. This is what 520 Wings offers, a repertoire of wings that might just be the best in Georgia, if not beyond. The variety is dizzying, the quality unwavering, each wing a narrative of spice and satisfaction. Anthony Bourdain, with his love for the unvarnished truth of food, would have likely appreciated 520 Wings for its commitment to excellence in the face of simplicity. Here, in the heart of Savannah, the wing is not a side note or an appetizer; it’s the main event, a dish that demands respect and evokes passion. The ambiance of 520 Wings mirrors its culinary ethos — straightforward, welcoming, unpretentious. It’s a place where the food takes center stage, where diners from all walks of life converge over shared platters of wings, where the spice ignites conversation, and the beer flows as freely as the stories. Service at 520 Wings is as genuine as its fare, with a team that knows the menu inside out and appreciates the art of hospitality. This isn’t about fine dining; it’s about great dining, about the joy of sharing a meal in a place that feels like it’s been a part of Savannah’s fabric forever. In a city celebrated for its gastronomic diversity, 520 Wings stands out for its singular focus, its mastery of one of America’s favorite comfort foods. It’s a testament to the idea that sometimes, the simplest dishes are the most memorable, that great food doesn’t need to be complicated to be exceptional. For those in search of the best wings Georgia has to offer, a visit to 520 Wings is a pilgrimage worth making, a culinary journey that’s as flavorful as it is unpretentious.

I’ve been a customer at bull for years but unfortunately my first experience at the new location on waters was far from good. I was the only customer there. Only drive thru & window walk up available currently. I did drive thru. The cashier was nice, friendly. She explained it would be 2-3 minute wait for them to make the food fresh. I was there for 9 minutes before my chicken philly was ready… and for it to be what was served to me.. not worth the wait or the price. I’m not sure why the website says the sandwich is $7.99 but I was charged $9 and some change… for this? It took almost ten minutes to put that together? With only one customer. {refer to the pics} I need burning my money to count and unfortunately this…hurt lol

Visited Savannah and decided to give 520 Wings a try. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The fries were undercooked and lacked that crispy finish, and the blue cheese dressing was extremely watery closer to the consistency of water than a dip. The wings themselves had good flavor, but definitely could have been fried a bit harder for better texture. Hoping for improvements, because the spot has potential.

My husband and I stopped by for some local food and found 520 wings. The customer service was amazing, the young woman recommended the wings and Philly cheesesteak (the house special). The food was great and the we also enjoyed the tropical bull drink was (not sure of the name) but it was an adult beverage, highly recommended!

I'm not sure why this place is still open. I'm traveling from out of town and we wanted to decide where to eat at. So we tried this place. Upon walking in the cashier did not have the greatest customer service but she was okay. She did make suggestions on the menu. I give her that. We told her we were first timers in which she told the manager lady whom came out the bathroom a few moments after we arrived. The manager didn't seem to care to even welcome in new faces. Heck she didn't even SPEAK SMILE TALK OR ANYTHING ELSE That you would typically expect from a manager. Upon receiving our order, I asked the cashier. Did they just make the fries because the fries were not hot in which she responded? Would you like for us to make them fresh? In which I responded. Yes, that would be nice. Thank you. She then passed the order on to the manager lady Who seemed like she was VERY unsatisfied with us asking for new fries. So in turn, I just asked for a refund. Because who wants to spend money on a $20 meal with cold fries. Then she came out with the nastiest attitude to give us a refund. However, I did not cause an issue or make a scene. I received my money and left the restaurant Never to return. Hopefully, 1 day if I do.They have a new manager. Because I know she could not be the face that they want for their business especially if they want people to come in and spend their money Now I have to find somewhere else to eat. Anyone got any suggestions For a nice restaurant in Savannah Georgia with better customer service. And workers without attitudes who are not on their cell phones or picking at their nails.

Me and my son went here today, first time eating at 520 Wings. Came here bc A-Town Wings was closed. And I must say this is by far the smallest, feather covered and the worse wings I've ever had. I ordered the 20 wings half hot honey mustard and lemon pepper. The wings didn't have hardly any meat on them and was smaller than my thumb. Ate only a few and couldn’t eat anymore. The flavor on the wings or the ranch left a bad after taste in my mouth. I WILL never eat here again.

The Olde Pink House is a top choice for experiencing authentic Southern cuisine in Savannah. Housed in an elegant 18th-century Georgian mansion, the restaurant offers a sophisticated dining experience with portrait-lined walls, fireplaces, and shimmering chandeliers. The menu features inventive Southern dishes including seafood, beef, pork, and chicken options as well as classic Southern favorites like shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes.
We made reservations for five at the Pink House months earlier and it was wonderful. The property is beautiful and is in a great location easy to walk to. The service was five star, they were attentive and answered all our questions. We ordered chicken pot pie, the bourbon glazed pork loin was medium rare and it paired well with the pecan glazed sweet potato and collared greens which were the best I ever had. The fried chicken looked great and the portion was generous. The interior was beautifully decorated. We sat in the green room which had a cozy fireplace and a magnificent chandelier. This was definitely a must see.

This was a fantastic dining experience from beginning to end. Our server Shaina was an absolute super star! She was tremendously welcoming and gracious and very helpful. It was obvious that she enjoys what she does and loves all the great things that The Olde Pink House brings to the table. She was extremely knowledgeable on the entire menu as well as the history of this special establishment. The food was absolutely delicious and full of great flavors that were fresh and cooked perfectly. The cocktails were excellent as well. Another nice touch was a very special woman that came around to sing a requested song or sing happy birthday. I was fortunate enough to request a tune and also sing a duet with her on Amazing Grace! Overall. It was a fantastic evening and one that will remain in my heart for a long time. Definitely worth checking out if you are in town!

Not to be missed, make a reservation. A lovely historic house with well trained staff. Food was creative and presented well. A little warm inside (they had the fires on low for some reason), - I felt it could have used a couple of fans to move the air. However a great restaurant and very popular for a reason.

Having dinner at the Olde Pink House was such a treat! Our server Issac was so sweet and knowledgeable, the food was perfect, and the atmosphere was a cozy and welcoming 10/10. We had the stuffed flounder, the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese, the southern sushi, the fried green tomatoes, and the chocolate tarte for dessert. Every item was equally delicious in its own right. We also popped downstairs to the tavern and would absolutely go back and have drinks and food there again! So cozy and historic and the live music was such a great touch.

There is a history that is celebrated here. From the basement bar to the second floor ballroom, there is a story. The staff was excellent and gave a warm welcome. The food was very good, I do not think a crumb was left behind. Definitely a place worth visiting, and if you’re on a budget just go to the basement bar for a drink and learn about the homes history.

We booked a table for lunch a month in advance. Dinner is more difficult to book. The setting is beautiful, in the historic district opposite savanna's Reynolds Square. The house dates from 1771 and it's classically appointed . The food and drinks were all tasty - classic Southern fare with creative twists. Service was attentive but a bit rushed. Worth a visit! All in all, you will not be disappointed. ENJOY!!

I cannot express enough just how lovely our dining experience was. We went in for lunch and enjoyed it so much came back for a light dinner at the bar. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. When the host walked us to our table it wasn't quite ready yet so he gave us a quick guided tour of a few rooms while we waited. When I couldn't find the bathroom I asked a buser to point me in the right direction and he stopped what he was doing to walk me to the restroom while providing interesting facts about the house. Our bartender in the evening was TJ, it was his birthday and he had a parade of well wishers stopping by, which just added to the friendly atmosphere. We even got to enjoy a lovely performance of Happy Birthday by a member of staff. The food didn't disappoint, and the cocktails were delicious! We loved our experience fun start to finish!

The Lady & Sons, a popular eatery by Paula Deen, continues to draw crowds despite controversies. The buffet offers classic Southern dishes like fried chicken and collard greens, while the menu features items such as fried green tomatoes and peach barbeque grouper. Reservations are recommended due to the restaurant's popularity. Housed in a historic 200-year-old building near City Market, this three-story restaurant is known for its delicious Southern home cooking and the celebrity chef's notoriety.
We made reservations so we had no trouble getting a table. We went with Family Style and we chose The Sons which consisted of 3 down home dishes 4 of Paula’s famous sides for the table. We decided on. Paula's Fried Chicken, Pot Roast and Chicken and Dumplings. Baked Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, BBQ Baked Beans, Coleslaw. It’s also all you can eat! It also comes with your choice of desserts too. Which we took home because we had no room left for it! All four of us were very satisfied. Everything tasted great. The baked beans were incredible. Chicken and dumplings were a little on the salty side though. If you are going to be in the area definitely give it a try! You won’t be disappointed. You can also shop the gift shop. Lots of things to look at!

Ms. Paula Deen is the QUEEN OF SOUTHERN COOKING, hands down!! Very Friendly staff & service . I had collard greens , fried cat fish, fried chicken , buttered rice , pot roast, chicken & dumplings, cheese biscuits , yams , gooey butter cake , peach cobbler and my favorite, banana pudding . The fried chicken & fried catfish were seasoned perfectly. They came out hot & fresh. You will leave this place , full & satisfied ! The restaurant also has a cute gift shop. I bought a few bottles of her seasonings so hopefully I can create some of her delicious food in my kitchen. Love you , Ms Paula

Even when we are just traveling through Savannah we stop at Lady and Sons for a meal. I can't believe I am posting a bad review on Lady and Sons. Sadly we haven't had a chance to get to Savannah since COVID. From what I understand, (from my wonderful server) the changes came after COVID. We had no idea the buffet was no longer an option. And that the chicken potpie, my favorite! I was not aware that it had been removed from the menu as a regular dish. And was placed on as a special. The potpie was not only cold, but watery. Not the creamy delicious pie I had become accustomed to 😭! I have been eating there for close to 30 years. I have never had a bad meal. My husband enjoyed his chicken meal. And my granddaughter enjoyed a vegetable meal! She loved the green beans and fries!

If ever in Savannah, I must try Paula Deen’s restaurant The Lady & Sons, so we did. On our first night, I made sure that I made reservations online for the following day. We got to the restaurant and it felt like eating at someone’s home. Nothing fancy. Plastic dishes, very relaxed atmosphere. The menu, I must admit was a little confusing because its not extensive but they offer family style dining where you choose one, two or three entrees and shareable sides. This wasn’t going to work for us because there are picky eaters in my party. Therefore, we opted for individual dinners. I chose the fried chicken with mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and peach cobbler. I did order their “best Bloody Mary “ drink but it wasn’t to my liking. My family enjoyed their dinners, overall it was a nice family experience with southern home cooking food.

We took My Husband to The Lady and Son’s for Father’s Day on June 15th, 2025 and he loved it. We all did. This was our first visit to this location. We’ve visited two other locations before. Gatlinburg Tennessee and Myrtle Beach South Carolina. The Tennessee restaurant is our favorite because that’s the one that we go to most often. I loved the variety of the Savanna location menu. I love their fried chicken, cream corn, macaroni and cheese and cheese biscuits. Everything was delicious. We had to wait about 20 or 30 minutes to be seated so we went to the store and shopped around a little. That’s the best part of going to the restaurant. You get to shop all of the neat items that they sell. Everything is always so beautiful colorful and affordable. Unfortunately there was a bad thunderstorm going on as we finished out dinner so we had to stay in the restaurant until it subsided. We were entertained by watching Paula’s cooking video on the monitor inside the store. We can’t wait until we are able to enjoy our next meal there🤗

Wasn’t overly impressed by the food, wife had the fried chicken which she said was delicious however not a very large portion, sides were good not great. I had the chicken and dumplings and was disappointed, not something I typically would order either but wanted to try something different. Way too salty and the chicken wasn’t tender. We did have desert, peach cobbler and bread pudding, both were good but again not great.

Can get crowded, but we were seated quick with no reservations at 4:30pm on a Tues. Crunchy, moist fried chicken. Great flavors on the baked beans and candied yams for my 2 sides. The fried green tomatoes were cooked just right and not soggy at all. Went well with the hot and pepper sauce. The biscuits were too die for.

The Pirates' House is a long-standing pirate-themed restaurant housed in a historic inn that was once an experimental garden. Saved from demolition in the 1940s, it now serves hearty Southern fare such as Low Country Spring Rolls, Shrimp and Grits, and Honey Pecan Fried Chicken. The restaurant's location near River Street makes it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
Such an amazing experience at The Pirate’s House in Savannah! The history alone makes it worth a visit. it’s the oldest restaurant in Savannah, dating back to the 1700s, and you can truly feel that charm and rich history throughout the space. The staff is so knowledgeable and eager to share stories about the building’s past, which makes dining here feel like stepping back in time. Tom was our waiter and did a fantastic job. Even with a packed house, he was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. The food was excellent, and came out quickly. the shrimp and grits were hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and my husband’s fried chicken was amazing (it’s literally half a chicken plus sides!). Not pictured are the Low Country spring rolls because they disappeared before we could even take a photo, they were that good. If you’re visiting Savannah, The Pirate’s House is an absolute must. Make sure to take the full tour and visit the gift shop upstairs.

The Pirates House is definitely more of a tourist spot than a foodie destination. The restaurant itself is neat and has a cool history. The biscuits and the she crab soup were the highlights of the meal. Unfortunately, everything else fell kind of flat. I ordered the crab melt which was loaded with red peppers even though the menu didn’t mention it, and it overpowered the dish. I had house made chips as my side and they were so stale that they were inedible. My husband had the chicken salad croissant sandwich and it didn’t taste seasoned at all. If you’re looking for a unique Savannah experience, you may like this place, but don’t expect a standout meal.

The Pirates’ House is a must-visit stop in Savannah for anyone who enjoys great Southern food with a side of history! Located just a block from River Street, this restaurant dates back to 1753 and was once an inn for sailors and, according to local legend, a gathering place for pirates. You can still feel that old-world charm in every creaky floorboard and historic room. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and they were excellent — plenty of flavor, the perfect portion size, and beautifully balanced with just the right amount of spice. There was also a great looking buffet with lots of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and full of fun stories about the building’s past (ask about the tunnels!). Whether you’re a foodie, a history lover, or just in search of that classic Savannah experience, The Pirates’ House delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

Pirates do live here. And they will come around and try to steal your doubloons unless you order a lot of food - like th best she crab soup in town, the fried green tomatoes, the gumbo, and their award winning pecan fries chicken. All very good. It was like eat 3 meals all at once, but you need to have a proper southern meal like this if you're in Savannah.

One of the Oldest Buildings in the United States, alot of people say Haunted. We had the Honey Pecan Fried Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. 100% will get again and Highly Recommend. The Crab Dip with Pita chips was great as well. Take the pirate tour and look in every room even if you're not eating in there. We dined in the Captains room but they all are pretty interesting to say the least. We shared and they split our meal on 2 plates.

We always have exceptional service in The Captain's room. The she crab soup is the best you will find anywhere from Savannah to Wilmington. They do give tours and some servers will offer up old stories of the tunnels, pirates and the oldest house in Georgia, which they say is inside/part of the restaurant.

We had a group of 14 classmates. We get together every fall. This year, Savannah was our winner. With a group of 14, it’s rare we can all sit together. The Pirate House had an 8 top and a 6 top right next to each other. Our drinks were tasty and strong. I got the grouper dinner and it was great. We were extremely fortunate to have Lindsey as our server. She was all over it. She had both of our tables and she didn’t miss a beat. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. She made the experience go from a 4 star to a 5 star. We will stop in again if we ever get back this way. Thanks a lot Lindsey. ❤️

Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room is a long-standing family-owned Southern diner in Savannah, serving up generous portions of traditional Southern cuisine at communal tables since 1943. This popular spot has attracted attention from notable figures like President Obama and continues to draw crowds with its family-style meals featuring fried chicken, butter beans, red rice, collard greens, mac and cheese, and candied yams.
We had the chance to visit Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room while in Savannah, and let me tell you, it was 100% worth the wait! The family-style setup was such a unique and special experience. I think there were 22 or 23 bowls of food on the table. Everything from fried chicken to collard greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and more. Every bite tasted like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen. Even though the day was very hot, the staff was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. They made sure everyone was taken care of, offering water, shade, and kind words to help us through the wait. Their warmth and care made it all the more enjoyable. Waited for about 30 min in a line outside to enter. There are only about 5-6 large tables inside and you are seated with people you don’t know but you quickly get to know everyone. Food is served family-style in bowls which are then passed around the table (like an old fashioned sit-down family meal). Ambiance is great. Food is tasty and plentiful, and service is friendly and top notch. Restaurant is located on a beautiful street - definitely recommend for a one-of-a-kind experience! If looking for fancy, fine dining this isn’t it. You’ll get nothing but down home southern comfort food and hospitality here. No menu to order from - family-sized portions are already on the table when you enter (all you can eat). It’s more like visiting someone’s home for a meal rather than being served.

Yes the is a usually a wait to get in, but grab a beverage and line up - you will not be disappointed. This is family style dining NOT to be missed if you’re visiting Savannah. It’s a set menu, the food is soul food - collards, fried chicken etc. it’s like having lunch with your new friends and family. A great experience and only $40 - a bargain.

If you’re anywhere near Savannah, you must go to Mrs. Wilkes for a meal. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine Southern hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the kind of place where it feels like Sunday dinner at Grandma’s — if Grandma happened to be a five-star cook. The meal was served family-style, and it was a true Southern spread — generous, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The meats were the undeniable stars of the table: tender fried chicken with perfectly crispy skin, smoky pulled pork that melted in your mouth, and slow-cooked beef stew. Each meat was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and clearly made with love. The sides were no afterthought either. We were treated to creamy mac and cheese, tangy collard greens, buttery cornbread, fluffy mashed potatoes with rich gravy, fried okra, and so many more. Every dish had its own distinct flavor and homemade charm — nothing tasted store-bought or rushed. The balance of savory, sweet, and spicy flavors was spot on, and everything was served piping hot and replenished with a smile. What really elevated the whole experience was the service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, always ready with a fresh pitcher of sweet tea or a recommendation for what to try next. They made us feel like we were part of the family — something you just can’t fake. If you’re craving a meal that’s both comforting and deeply satisfying, this Southern family-style spot delivers in every way. Come hungry, leave happy, and don’t forget to save room for the peach cobbler and banana pudding, they are sweet ending to a truly spectacular meal.

We went to Savanna Georgia on a day trip. We heard the place to eat was Mrs. Wilkes. We stood in line for 2 hours. We made friends while waiting to get in line. It’s a family style all you can eat restaurant. you sit next to people you don’t know and talk about everything and you get to know them and become friends. The food service was great. If you are in Savanna We recommend you visit Mrs Wilkes you won’t be disappointed.

This was a super fun and delicious dining experience that you must try at least once when coming to Savanna, Georgia! Our family gathered here for a meal none of us will soon forget! when the mash potatoes hit my mouth, followed by fried chicken and okra, sweet potato soufflé and creamed corn I was transported to my own mother’s kitchen and all the flavors that reminded me of home! What a treat to share with family! Plan on waiting in line and bring your best attitude and biggest appetite for a memorable time!

Delicious classic southern cooking served family style. Every dish was amazing, so come hungry! The fried chicken and greens were some of the best I've ever had. Fair warning, it's first come first serve and they're open until they run out of food. You will wait in line outside, but once you're seated you eat immediately. Cash Only!

Have to go at least once. A Savanah institution. Went on a Monday. Line already formed at 11:15. One group was inside for first seating. Waited an hour. Tables of ten... you and whoever. Dishes passed family-style. Most everything you'd want cooked southern style. Collard greens, creamed corn, black eye peas, red rice, mashed potatoes, biscuits, cornbread, chicken, pulled pork bbq. Dishes are refilled. Only option is sweet iced tea (but you can request unsweetened). Dessert was banana pudding or peach conner cobbler. All very good. Not especially exceptional, but the food is definitely good. This is the south. Don't expect anything al dente. We COOK food. When you are finished, leave when you want (not dismissed as a table), take your plates, utensils and glass to the kitchen door. Someone in the family tells the story of the restaurant while you wait in line outside. Mrs. Wilkes is no longer living (1906-2001). Her family is carrying on the tradition. Small gift shop inside. Tees, aprons, cook books (signed by family member, stamped with Mrs. Wilkes' signature $20.) All-in-all a fun experience. You certainly don't leave hungry.

Wet Willie's is a vibrant chain bar with brick walls that offers an array of frozen drinks and unconventional pub food. It's a popular spot in Savannah, where visitors can choose from a wide selection of frozen cocktails, including classic flavors like Pina Coladas and Sex on the Beach, as well as unique creations such as the Bob Marley and Attitude Adjustment. The bar also serves sliders, mozzarella bites, and other typical bar snacks.
My husband and I stopped her for lunch before we headed to Tybee beach. It was a satisfying and quick meal. He got gumbo and I got 2 tacos. Prices were reasonable and our waitress was excellent! Check out this place & the surrounding shops. It makes a fun date!

A staple in Savannah and if you’re a there for the first time you have to go. The drinks, although frozen are quite strong! I love that they let you mix flavors and sample some of them. The customer service isn’t amazing but I get it, you get a lot of traffic and also drink customers. But it wasn’t very busy that day so we were in and out with our drink!

Never even made it in the door. I understand it may be your rule to not wear hats inside but before you tell patrons coming inside you may want to be sure someone is policing your rule inside. 2 hats in the dining area as I opted not to come inside. One absolutely amazing quality though. You can buy a hat with their logo on it, but you can't even wear it inside their business because it's "respectful." Just lost Savannah Residents.

A fun visit and pretty good alcoholic slushy. Some of the flavors you can definitely taste a strong taste of alcohol but that may not be a bad thing considering what they’re trying to do. Perhaps a rite of passage to when you’re young and visiting savannah, walking around with a drink in hand along the river. The inside is fun and there are lots of options to choose from.

The Grey is a renowned restaurant located in the former segregated Greyhound bus depot, now transformed into an Art Deco dining space. It gained national recognition after being featured on Chef's Table and receiving a prestigious James Beard Award for its chef. The menu offers a mix of seafood and seasonal dishes, such as smoked pork with hominy and purloo Carolina Gold rice with salted fish.
We sat at the bar and had an incredible meal at The Grey. The patty melt was delicious, the Sizzlin’ Smoky Pig was absolutely amazing, the chicken schnitzel was perfectly crisp, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and top-notch food all around. Highly recommend!

We came here for an upscale anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was perfect and they were very thoughtful and wrote a happy anniversary note. The staff were helpful and answered many of our questions. They also had many vegetarian options to pick from. It’s a coursed $85 meal and I felt given the amount of food we got, it was very reasonable. The Savannah Red Rice was so good. It was definitely a great take on local food and was very flavorful and filling. I loved all the different vegetables in it - they were perfectly cooked and enhanced the sauce base. For the main, they had an okra and beans dish with bread. It also came with some salad and the salad was really fresh and had a very crispy dressing. The whole entree with its different parts went together so well. The beans were not too soft or hard but the perfect in-between. Insta: @TheShahLALand

After dining at a good number of Savannah's higher end restaurants I can enthusiastically say that The Grey was the best. And probably one of only two or three places that are worth the price. Our party of four were all impressed by the quality of The Grey's service and food. Big props to "Sooz" (Suzette) our most attentive and engaged server for her positive energy and apologizing for a delay in the serving of our main courses, before we knew there was an issue. (Comping us additional wine for the problem was high class and appreciated.) The dining room manager was also very attentive and engaged in making sure we had a first rate experience. We all ordered off the Prix Fixe menu, which I see has changed somewhat since we visited. Every dish was wonderful! We will definitely be back to The Grey.

Set in a building with a lot of history, and aligned with the changes in Savannah over time (e.g., former Jim Crow era bus station, former bakery). The food was the best culinary experience we’ve had during our stay in Savannah. It was one of the few places that lived up to the hype. The menu for brunch is small, so they’re not trying to do too much, just a few things really well. We had the duck pastrami, the omelette, the fried chicken with hoecakes, and the Bloody Mary. All great. They had live music playing, and the kitchen staff clearly too pride in their work.
Charleston E — Google review
After watching Chef's Table, we had to see if The Grey lived up to the hype. To say that it surpassed our expectations would be an understatement. The French Laundry has nothing on Chef Mashama Bailey. Chef and her partner kept the original Greyhound bus stop bones, but elevated the atmosphere. The food is incredibly fresh and passion infused. Every bite was heavenly and Chef's chillies bear palate cleanser gave us all the feels. If you're headed to Savannah, make that reservation early and be sure to ask for Ben as your server. His dedication to The Grey and outstanding service was the cherry on top of a perfect evening.
Kim P — Google review
There’s no question that The Grey has built a reputation in Savannah for its striking setting, a restored 1938 Greyhound bus terminal turned into a stylish dining space that blends Art Deco charm with Southern elegance. Unfortunately, on my recent visit, the beauty of the space far outshined the overall dining experience. I arrived early and took a seat at the bar, where the experience started off on the right note. The bartenders were friendly, the cocktails were well-balanced, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting. My wife and I enjoyed our drinks and looked forward to what we hoped would be an exceptional meal. Once we were called to our table, however, the evening took a noticeable turn. We were seated at a cramped table wedged between others, close enough to hear every word of the neighboring conversations. It wasn’t a busy night, so the tight seating felt unnecessary. When we asked to be moved, the maître d’ (or possibly the manager) told us it would be a 45-minute wait, even though several open tables were visible. After a short back-and-forth, he “found” a table, one that, interestingly, remained empty around us for the entire hour and a half we were there. Then came the surprise: The Grey offers only a prix fixe menu. While that can work beautifully when executed with creativity and depth, the limited choices here fell flat. For the first course, I ordered the B&B Pickled Egg, which lacked any memorable flavor or texture. My wife’s Summer Crudité was equally uninspired. The second course offered a slight improvement, my wife’s Baba Ghanoush was flavorful and well-balanced but my Beef Carpaccio missed the mark. The edges were brown and looked partially cooked, with none of the delicate freshness that defines a great carpaccio. For the main course, we both opted for the Dayboat Catch, which happened to be grouper. It looked promising but delivered little in the way of taste. My wife took one bite and set her fork down, describing it as “completely flavorless.” I finished mine, but mostly out of obligation rather than enjoyment. The one true highlight of the evening was our server. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely empathetic. Without us asking, she comped my wife’s dessert and later removed her entrée from the bill, gestures that showed professionalism and care. Her service was the saving grace of the meal. In the end, The Grey is worth visiting for its history and design, the space itself is stunning, a perfect tribute to Savannah’s past. But as for the food, it failed to live up to the restaurant’s reputation. What began as a promising evening with well-made cocktails turned into a forgettable dinner that leaned too heavily on ambiance and not enough on flavor. Final verdict: Go for the architecture and the bar experience, but temper your expectations when it comes to the food.

An unforgettable dining experience at The Grey in Savannah. We did the 3-course prix fixe and every bite was outstanding—from the crisp, fresh crudité to the mouthwatering oyster trio and flavorful succotash. The lamb melted in our mouths, and the chicken Country Captain was rich and juicy. Cocktails like the Captain Sauce and Fisherman Ave were beautifully crafted. For dessert, the fig thrills took us on a nostalgic journey through the joy of growing up in Savannah—her elevated take on the classic frozen pop was both refreshing and refined. We even got to meet Executive Chef Mashama Bailey—warm, down-to-earth, and deeply passionate. Incredible food, service, and experience. 10/10 highly recommend!

Waited 15 to 20 minutes to sit at the main bar. When seated noticed only two people were there and never got full while we were there so not sure why the wait. Bartender was solid. And the ladies (one in training) did a wonderful job describing the plates. I would say the pantry dishes were the weakest. The radishes were halved and tough to manage. The spread was tasty though. The corn bisque had a good favor but the crisp of the potatoes were lost quickly by pouring the bisque on top of them. Turned it into a soggy mix. The chicken was amazing and the misses loved the favor of the oysters. Great experience. This is my fourth time at the Grey. Love the venue

The Ordinary Pub, nestled in a basement on Broughton Street in Savannah, offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with its exposed-brick walls. The menu goes beyond typical pub fare, featuring creative dishes like Pork Belly Donut Sliders and Loaded Fritter Tots. From Gumbo to Stone Ground Grits and even brunch options like the Brunner Bowl, there's something for everyone.
My first time at The Ordinary Pub and also my first time having bison. The bison seemed bland, having more emphasis on the fried breading and not spiced much at all. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were very delicious. My date had the fried green tomatoes sliders appetizer as her meal which was more that sufficient and said was very delicious. The service was continuously attentive and friendly, definitely worth a repeat visit. The atmosphere had a good crowd. The music was a bit loud where we were but that was because we were next to the speaker. Overall a very good experience and will try many other dishes here.

Pretty dope underground spot in Historic Downtown Savannah. They had a sign outside the entrance saying “$15 bottomless mimosas,” and that was the hook that pulled us in. The catch is that you have to order an entree in order to get the deal, so please be aware. The food was pretty good overall. We tried the Chicken & Waffle Gyro, with loaded grits, along with the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and cornbread. All of it was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned, and the loaded grits with cheese, bacon bits, scallions, and the whipped marscapone was fire 🔥 The cornbread tasted sweet and homemade, which I loved, and they give you two pieces. The prices are moderately high, but expected for the area. Stop by if you’re around town, you wont be disappointed.

Great brunch spot! Our server was awesome. The food and drinks were amazing! We had a big party celebrating a birthday and everyone loved their food. I particularly enjoyed the Chorizo Brunch skillet. The pork belly sliders were phenomenal and everyone loved them. Two people got the Pub Club and they both said it was the best club they’d ever had. The steak, eggs and grits were also top notch!

Worst burger I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like someone took already cooked burger patties and then mushed them together and set it on top of stale angel food cake. Sorry not sorry. When you charge $25 for a burger you need to deliver. The Brussels were drenched in some weird syrup. The cheese on the pub fries was like a watered down flavorless paste of some sort. This place is constantly recommended on Facebook groups and I’ve been dying to go, but I cannot in good conscience recommend it. Even if the food was good, it was extremely hot inside and made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.

This place was a vibe! As you walk down the stairs, the pub vibe hits you! We didn't wait long for our seats on the Sunday we visited. We were looking for a local spot to eat, and when we walked up, the bottomless mimosas sign roped us right in. We started our meal off with the loaded fries and we were nearly licking the bowl. The cheese sauce was phenomenal. As we enjoyed our mimosas we ordered from the delectable menu. I ordered a massive spinach and shrimp salad with feta, my sister ordered loaded hashbrowns, and my niece ordered one of the biggest club sandwiches I've ever seen. The food was delicious, the waiter was fantastic, and the vibes were great. There were Bachelorette parties, friends, and families enjoying meals at tables and the bar. Can't wait to go back!!

We had a lot of fun at the ordinary pub and really enjoyed our dinner. We couldn’t get in at the chive so we called an audible and came to the Ordinary Pub instead. Everyone in our group was pleasantly surprised by their food and drinks. I would definitely eat here again. The mushroom pasta was unique and something different, we really liked it. The salmon Felix was really good, as well as the fried green tomatoes. The low key star of the show was the pork belly sliders though - the slider buns were soooo good!

What a cool place. So different from the ordinary. We had a super great server, Katie, and everyone there was nice. The mango jalapeño cider was yummy. Not strong tasting and kinda sweet, which I like. The Irish ale was stout tasting and good. The meatballs were good, but more sauce would be better. The savannah burger with loaded fries was great all around. The duck Tacos with the slaw really tasty. Would definitely recommend this place. So fun.

We came in so that we could get a few Happy Hour items to share. We went for the Fried Green Tomato Caprese, Loaded Pub Fries, Meatballs, and Olive & Cheese plate. It was all very tasty and we enjoyed it all. My personal favorite was the Fried Green Tomatoes. I could have eaten the whole thing myself! The few cocktails we got were hit or miss. The two martinis we ordered were good, but the seasonal one(the name escapes me now) tasted like how a candle smells. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a great time.

If you're on the hunt for a taste of authentic Southern comfort food, look no further than Sisters of the New South. Nestled in Victory Heights, this charming eatery boasts vibrant blue tables and an inviting tree mural that sets a warm atmosphere. The menu is a delightful homage to family traditions, featuring beloved dishes like fried chicken and slow-cooked oxtails—each recipe lovingly passed down through generations.
Home cooking with WELL seasoned food. My family and I met a beautiful family visiting from Italy 🇮🇹 and they gave us a rundown on what to order. Just so happened everyone ordered something different and shared it with each other. So we did the same. All of it was so delicious! I ordered the baked chicken, which was very tender and moist, sweet potatoes were just yummy! The taste of a hint of marshmallow was a favorite of mine. The yellow rice was just right, and the buttermilk cornbread with green beans was amazing. My husband had the smothered pork chops. I tried 😩 not to eat his food up. My sons had fried chicken and ox tails. They ate every drop, so I know they enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

While visiting Savannah- My Husband and I searched for “restaurants near me” and “Sisters of the new south” came up. We came through the door and Mama was “in the kitchen” actually she was on the serving line. So sweet!! We ordered a vegetable plate and an oxtail plate- everything on the plates were delicious! Tasty, meaty and tender!

Today I ordered collards, Mac and cheese, and fried chicken. I lost my receipt, a ,"young" lady who rang me up did not tell me my total or say thank you, this is due to lack of training 😉. The food was fair the greens were tender but very oily and cooked with a generous dossing of sugar. In my opinion (sugar) does not need to be in greens. I like my greens tender and flavored with cooking meat, no cooking meat was present in the serving of greens. I think some upgrades in presentation, and taste would be more appealing for dining in and another visit. Overall, its okay, the chicken and Mac were indeed flavorful. One of the waiters asked me if I was a first time visitor-she gave me a discount and my plate came out to $13, a nice perk.

I was here 4 days ago for my niece birthday celebration from NC, it’s was 9 of us, some of us wasn’t happy at all with our food. I don’t ever have to go back there again, I got fried fish with cabbage, Lima beans and tomatoes and rice my fish had no seasoning my tomatoes and rice was dry no taste, my cabbage and Lima beans was good. I had sweet potato pie, no no no. And I was so disappointed in the cleanliness of this place, I had to ask someone to clean my table off the trash can was overflowing. It was like 6ish/ 7 in the evening but it breaks my heart to see this in a place of business. I saw a mop in the kitchen that was Black/dirty omg , I was scared to go in the restroom, I hope they get this together. Please take this as constructive criticism and not a bash.

Just ok...we had to wait for a fresh batch of mac and cheese but it was just at room temp did not have a bubly brown baked appearance, just yellow like made on stovetop. Turkey wings were OK. This was our first stop after getting into Savannah (first time coming to this city!) and Cheyenne was absolutely the best!! We asked about recommendations for what to do and she did not disappoint! Kyndra handled our party of 20+ people without any issues !! Very accommodating, very patient, and very pleasant 🤗 Thank you !! As for the food... we ordered the Philly Cheesteak egg rolls and Treylor Park Nachos.. should have only gotten the nachos.. it was enough for 4 people and no complaints there, but we were not fans of the egg rolls... there were 2 oversized rolls and they just had too much breading, so i ended up just eating the filling (I would have preferred 4-6 smaller rolls using spring roll dough so they are crispier!!) Everyone else in the group enjoyed all their meals, everything from the Ahi Tuna to huge chili dogs (well one long dog, but on 2 buns 😆), ridiculously ginormous chicken biscuits and fish sandwiches.. the PB&J wings (which I was skeptical of, but got to try one.... and it's a yes for me, if I ever find myself here again that's probably what I'll get!) And one lady ordered something that had apple pie in it, she said she was trying something different, but she didn't really like it, other than that not a single complaint !! Great lunch, food, and service.. Thank You ✨️

The atmosphere of this place is cool and beautiful and we absolutely loved it The servers are super nice and super cute Decor I give a 6 out of 5 We had nachos and they were killer. All the flavors were on point My Friend said the sweet tea was fantastic The entrees were not so good though I’m afraid I had the smashburger and it was good. Was it better than the chain Smashburger? Not at all. It was only good. My Friend had the caprese pizza. He hated it. Took one bite and no more. He could’ve been full from the nachos but no. He said it was just bad. And we didn’t take a photo. Imagine rolling out dough but it was for a bad cracker recipe - that was the crust. It was stiff and caramel Brown color. The pesto was an unusually deep green color (for pesto). If it were a painting the palate would be lovely. I Love a thin crust pizza but I draw the line at cracker crust. All in all I would definitely go back and try other things. We weren’t entirely disappointed

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday with the family. Plenty of space, and the kids enjoyed watching 'Ghostbusters' on the TVs (they are typically playing some DVD movie). Food was excellent-- I had the beef tacos (that had a Korean BBQ flavor to them). The kids menu was great and had the key staples (hamburger, chicken tenders, etc). Parking was a little tough-- we had to circle the block a few times to get paid street parking ($2 for a few hrs).

The 5 Spot Midtown is a popular neighborhood kitchen and bar located in Savannah's Habersham Village. It has quickly become a favorite among locals for its relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and delicious American cuisine. The menu offers a variety of options, from classic breakfast dishes to Southern favorites like shrimp and grits. Families will appreciate the kids' menu and the restaurant's family-friendly vibe.
Great food and friendly service! Meatloaf with collards and mashed potatoes and gravy was fantastic. The Blackened salmon salad was super fresh and delicious. Food came out really quick! Highly recommend.

The chicken tenders were crispy and juicy, and I highly recommend them. Carolina Gold and the hot honey was amazing! The collard greens were good, but they were so salty that I couldn't finish them. The grits rolled out with cheddar on top, which I didn't care for. Gimme the cheese incorporated into the grits. The collard greens dip with the tortilla chips was well worth it. The chips had some sort of seasoning on them, which set them apart from just a standard chip. He enjoyed the shrimp and grits and said he'd totally order them again. A generous amount of shrimp, for sure. For me, there was nothing robust about them. We sat through a thunderstorm as we were eating. We then watched the GM go out and clean out the street drain to help keep the water up off their curb and out of the restaurant. Cars driving by push water up on the curb, creating the potential for flooding inside the establishment. I throw her HUGE props for that. Much respect to her commitment to keep the restaurant clear of water Definitely a good meal and pretty resonably priced.

This place was such a great choice — it totally beats going down the block to the veggie burger spot and the Tavern, where we walked in and got ignored. We came right into this place instead and immediately noticed the difference! The service was friendly and fast, the food was delicious, and the prices were great. Loved the warm atmosphere and how attentive everyone was. Highly recommend!

On a road trip, we had to stop in Savannah, ga for some good food and 5 spot didn't disappoint. Everything came out fresh and was great. The shrimp and grits were recommended by the waiter. The chicken fried chicken was oh so good. It's definitely a great spot for something quick to eat. Everyone was pleasant. The place was beyond clean, and the area felt safe.

We recently ordered takeout and were very disappointed. First, we ordered fish and chips with sweet potato fries (for an extra charge), but received regular fries instead. Second, the “large” Caesar salad looked more like a small portion — $10 for a few leaves and croutons with barely any dressing, despite also paying extra for additional dressing. We had been excited to try this place, but after this experience, we won’t be ordering again. I even tipped beforehand, which I now regret.

Loved that they had covered outdoor seating so we could enjoy our meal with my dog. Amanda our server was very nice! I got the Buhda bowel with grilled chicken and it was delicious! Definitely a great spot to catch a quick meal away from the crowded downtown area

Seriously, some of the best food I've eaten recently! The portions aren't huge, but they're fine. Everything we ordered was really good. They cook great food, and there's a nice variety.

Parker's Market is a busy gas station that unfortunately suffers from basic problems with their system. The employees are doing their best but they need more help to keep up with the demand. The wait for food is long and there isn't enough space to fit everyone who wants it. This makes it difficult for customers to get what they need quickly.
This is the fancy parkers this convenience store has everything. A large amount of delicious hot foods are available at all times. And an unfathomable amount of cake and cookies and such. This place is open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Parking can be rough at time especially around lunch when everyone is in there. And the gas pumps can be confusing if you don’t know what’s going on. But despite that they are still easy to use. There can be some riffraff out front at night due to the park benches on the side. But the overall this place is great.

Great little place to stop for quick eats, wine, gifts and of course fuel. It’s cute, clean and the staff were nice. The food was fresh and prepackaged but they also offer hot food options, coffee, soda and ice cream.

I was pleasantly surprised when I needed to stop by to get gas in Savannah to be led here by my GPS. On the hottest day of the summer, I could get a cold drink and stop by the bakery to get the best cake I had in Savannah(double chocolate, of course. Please dont tell my trainer😅). If that wasn't enough, they had a market with other quick items I could grab for the kids and the wife on the way back to the hotel. Very nice gem in the heart of Savannah.

Disgraceful service from staff there just now who would not accept international passport card (which has been accepted ALL over the East Coast of US) to purchase alcohol and kept referring to their 'policy' which conveniently is located on the back of the till which they could not show us. I was told it says passport book but could not verify online or in store anywhere. If that's the policy it should be clearly displayed for everyone to see. For context, the individuals who were refused were 38&39.

Love this place. Every item in your typical convenience store but this one is on steroids. They have prepared foods like breakfast bowls, sandwiches and dont forget the desserts. When you see the size of the cakes you are gonna want some. Most importantly the staff at this location are top notch. Pleasant, friendly and willing to help. A special shout out to Ms. Kenyatta who was so friendly and helpful on both of my visits. She must not sleep because she was there late night and again the next afternoon. She made us smile.

Passed by the first time, following Google Maps, because the place just looked to nice to be a gas station. Circled the block and boom, blending into the historical architecture is a modern clean convenience.

Bought broken sunglasses at Parker’s No. 19 in Savannah. Told no exchange or refund within an hour of purchase after realizing they were broken.. Managers Justin and Nikki were unhelpful. Luckily, the manufacturer fixed it—Parker’s didn’t care. Called customer service number, no response after 2 days. Customer service is pathetic.

Restaurant
BowTie Barbecue Co is a top-notch barbecue restaurant in Savannah that offers a warm welcome and an extensive menu featuring favorites like brisket sandwiches and smoked chicken plates. Located in 4.1 Southside Savannah, it's not far from the Historic District, making it a convenient spot to enjoy homemade plates without the hustle of downtown.
Best Ribs I have ever had! Good service too! Our experience: I was craving ribs and this was nearby so my wife and I decided to try it out for our wedding anniversary. We are not local and wanted to try somewhere new anyway. Once our food arrived and I saw the ribs, it looks good but just like any other ribs from a barbecue place if you know what I mean. Not thinking much of it, I picked up the rib but it fell out of my hands because of how, "fall off the bone," it was! I then took the first bite and was blow away by the flavor blast. The Mac and cheese was spectacular and more unique than most. Everything was amazing, highly recommend! The staff in particular (at least on this particular day), we're really kind and awesome.

Stopped by while in town. Completely empty at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. That should have been a clue. Can’t recommend the bbq. Pork sandwich had no flavor and no smoke. The amount of pork covered half the bun. The Brunswick stew was very sweet, too sweet for my taste. Maybe their burgers and wings are ok but I definitely wouldn’t go here for que. Restaurant was clean and servers were friendly.

This was once a great place to eat. I hope the owners improve the food & service. My husbands shrimp and grits were literally the texture of water, the food seemed old and nothing was hot everything was served to my family luke warm. It was Easter Sunday every place had a wait but only 4 families was in the entire place. This is such a great location especially the outdoor space I hope they improve.

I really wanted to like this place — the waitress was super nice and knowledgeable about gluten-free options, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself was pretty mid and the BBQ sauce just wasn't good. Sadly, I also got glutened by the bus boy. He was very apologetic and kind about it, but it was still a rough experience. Overall, good service but not the best spot for those who are strictly gluten free (Celiac)

I ordered the 3 peice ribs (wet) mac n cheese, baked beans and Texas toast. Everything was great but the mac and cheese noodles were a bit soggy and it's hard to say if I liked the brown sugar/cinnamon they added on top of it but it's was definitely different. The wait time for my food took longer than expected even during a slow time. Overall I enjoyed it and look forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Best Ribs and brisket I've ever had. I'll definitely be back to try more.
Ron L — Google review
The food was good. My brisket was a bit dry. I think they might be cutting the brisket without letting it rest because the waitress allowed us to taste a piece prior to ordering because my father has a problem when it is too smokey and the brisket was juicy and delicious. However, when my brisket arrived at the table, it had no juice in it at all. So I believe they may need to rest the meat longer. Other than that the food was very good.

My husband & I went here for lunch on a week day. We were the only customers up until we were about done with our food. We loved the cozy atmosphere. Our table was sticky, though. We decided to order a few things and share. The fried pickles were amazing. The ranch was pretty good, my husband is pick about his ranch so if he likes it, then it must be good. The wings were out of this world. Definitely the best wings I've found in Savannah (sandfly bbq is now in 2nd place). The brisket was fantastic. The star of the show was that banana nut muffin. It was hot, moist, full of flavor. I wanted to order more to bring home but the husband said no because he knows I'd end up ruining my diet lol. The steak fries were cooked perfect. The only thing we didn't care for was the slaw. It was bland & not sweet.

With roots in African comfort food, the menu showcases dishes like cheddar drop biscuits, raw ceviche and oysters, shrimp dip, grits and fried okra.
This was my first time having Rhett and I must say everything about my visit from the food, service, and environment was amazing. I had their shrimp and grits and it was delicious! The grits were creamy and at the right consistency top with shrimp, sausages, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Definitely try it if you’re looking for a good shrimp and grits!

I was visiting for just one night and choose to walk here. Very beautiful but the place was empty at 8 on a Sunday. Could be blamed on my bad hearing but when I was offered distilled water, I wasn't anticipating 9.00 for that. My very saucy pasta came and I ask for a little bread, 4.00 was added to my bill for a slice of bread with butter... The lobster pasta had 5 or 6 bits of lobster claw/ peices.. the sauce was nice and the pasta cooked perfectly. The waitress had a very strong accent that was hard for me to understand. When I questioned the 4.00 slice of bread, they did take it off my bill. I too my souvenir 9.00 glass bottle of water with me.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Perfect Sunday Brunch at RHETT on River Street My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at RHETT in Savannah, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled right on River Street, RHETT offers a refined yet relaxed atmosphere that made our Sunday morning feel extra special. She ordered the loaded grits bowl, and I went with the shrimp and grits—both dishes were spot-on. The portions were just right: satisfying without being overwhelming, and beautifully plated. The flavors were rich and comforting, with just the right balance of Southern soul and upscale finesse. Yes, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but that’s expected given the prime location in Savannah’s tourist zone. Honestly, the quality of the food and the ambiance made it well worth it. What really stood out was how peaceful it was for a Sunday brunch—no long waits.

We just visited the Rhett for the first time this past weekend, and WOW, they did not disappoint. We went for brunch around Noon and were surprised it wasn't packed, considering it was the July 4th weekend. We were seated at the bar immediately, and the bartender was a pleasure to work with. He made us some fantastic drinks and kept our water glasses filled. The food itself was splendid! I had the chicken and waffles while my wife had the loaded grits bowl. Please do yourself a favor and TRY IT! The restaurant itself is gorgeous and has been decorated classily. They had several parties of more than 6, so they can certainly accommodate your family brunch needs. Next time you're down by River Street, stop by.

Tonin is super nice and attentive with great recommendations! The shrimp and grits had a good portion of fresh shrimp with creamy grits and the grouper was seared perfectly. The oysters were so fresh and also tasty. The calamari breading was bit salty but still flavorful. I’d return for the shrimp and grits alone. Would definitely want to try more items on the menu!

Situated in Savannah's former Red Light district, this neighborhood bar has been a staple of the West Congress Street nightlife for almost three decades. With bars on two stories and a courtyard featuring live music, The Rail Pub attracts a loyal local following with karaoke nights and generous happy hours.
When it’s time to hang out, this is the place I go to. It’s close to what used to be my favorite hotel and on Fridays at 5 o’clock. They have fried chicken for a appetizer. The people are super friendly and it definitely deserves the name pub for sure.

We stopped on our way through to Florida. This was the BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had!!! It was so light but full of crunch & flavor - hot all the way through and juicy! The pecan cornbread was simply delicious!! If we’re ever back in Savannah we will be certain to stop here!!

I ordered the two piece snack, dark meat. It had a nice crisp skin to it. The meat was tender and juicy. I also liked that it wasn’t too salty. Very good! Other things to note: they didn’t open until 11:30 because of staffing issues. I noticed another review mentioned this, so it may be a recurring issue. Also, there is no seating unless you have a sit-down meal.
Sallie M — Google review
We came here about 2 years ago and it was great, so I was excited about coming back, but the food we received this go around was almost inedible…The roasted chicken was dry and flavorless, the Mac and cheese tasted old, buttery and was cold, the candy yams tasted like sweet potato’s with sugar sprinkled on top and my wife’s smothered chicken was flavorless. The strawberry lemonade was excellent and our waitress was great besides her not trying to make things right with the dry roasted chicken, basically said try something else next time. For almost 24 dollars PER PLATE I expect better quality. My chicken came with one side and an extra “premium” side was 4 Dollars but was anything but premium. I’d recommend a quality analysis, I’d hate to see this place go down hill

I really like the beautiful design of this restaurant, its very soulful and southern. I recieved prompt service while dining here but the wait for food was a bit longer than expected. But the taste of the food made up for the long wait. The food was delicious and very flavorful. I would definitely dine here again!

Everything here is amazing! Nothing on the menu is a bad choice. The chicken, the catfish filets, salmon croquettes, fried pork chops, turkey wings, meatloaf, whatever you get you will love. The sides aren’t slouching either, all amazing! Especially those candied yams that would make me betray my grandma. Shouts out to DeAndre for his fantastic service. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff create a welcoming environment for visitors. The menu offers a variety of options at reasonable prices, with accommodations for dietary restrictions such as gluten and dairy-free choices.
Found out about this hidden gem while waiting for carryout our first night in Savannah. Just a short walk from the purple dot bus stop at 36th & Whitaker. Ordered chicken & waffles, mac & cheese, cornbread, shrimp & grits and also tried the sweet tea and hibiscus ginger tea. Everything was delicious. My daughter said it was the best chicken she'd ever had and the waffles had a slightly sweet flavor. Mac & cheese was a creamy concoction baked to perfection. The pepper cheese with the grits was spicy but not too much to overpower the flavor. Will definitely go back again!

Such an awesome place, service was great they were very nice and attentive. We had to order take out because of the rain. Even after 20 minutes of driving the food was still so good and fresh and delicious. Second time trying collard greens, the first time I wasn’t a fan but this time trying it here, I loved it! It was fresh and it went to well with the rice and fried chicken. We also got ox tail and it fell off the bone and it tasted amazing, best ox tail I’ve had in a long time. Yellow rice was very flavorful but the white rice was ok. My daughter who is very picky completely devoured the fried chicken she got. Definitely recommend 8.8/10 really good in my scale and would definitely go again if I visit Georgia again.

She gave us a GREAT service, and even added a few extras to our order for us to taste, all of this with a great welcoming smile. The place is kid friendly, it even has board games to play while waiting for the food. We had fried chicken, sweet potato fries, fried okra, spinach, greens, yellow rice, Mac and cheese (delicious!), candied yams. EVERYTHING was delicious and tasty. The corn bread was amazing!! The hibiscus and iced tea drink was very good also. They also have a great variety of homemade desserts, we had a peach cake (❤️). WE WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN!!

I try not to leave bad reviews! We were traveling from out of town. Arrived promptly at Noon when they opened. I didn't get my food until 1:06. I had to go up and ask why it was taking so long. There are plenty of signs that posted...pack your patience, we don't mind cooking if you don't mind waiting. But some waits in business are not acceptable. My husband's waffles were cold and were the drop and fry and not freshly made. I did receive a portion of my money back. If you go, expect an hour plus wait. That's just facts. We saw customer after customer waiting. There was a new cook, but turn off Door Dash and focus on the customers in front of you. I hope the review offers a reflection not a put down.

So, go there for lunch, order 5 naked and 5 garlic Parmesean.....the only good thing was it was hot and under 20 minutes. I didn't see the bottles of Lawry seasoning on the hot sauce table, which would've given me a better picture of the place. They threw season less Parmesean powder on the wings and passed it off. Looks was deceiving at the time. I will drive 10 more minutes next time.
Allen A — Google review
I ordered the large beef fried rice thinking I’d actually get beef. Instead I got the meat they use for the Philly cheesesteak. It was charred either from being on the grill too long or the grill needed cleaning. Waste of money and the taste wasn’t so great. Will not be purchasing again.

I went to A town in Brunswick GA the day before I went to the one in Savannah. Only thing that was the same was the fries. The wings in Savannah was fried so hard I couldn't taste the flavor. I might give them one more chance but if not . The only time I'm eating A Town wings is when I visit Brunswick location. I enjoyed the wings at Brunswick location not Savannah. And Brunswick has this juice machine and that orange color juice was very good. I thought they would have that at Savannah as well but they didn't. I was thinking as a franchise I would've had the same experience with taste in Savannah like Brunswick but I was wrong. A Town yall need to get it together in Savannah.

Monday March 10 ordered lemon pepper wings and terriaki lemon pepper; not my first time visiting but today all the chicken taste nasty, I don't know how else to describe it other than it being salty and soaking in puddle of oil on my plate. Who's doing the cooking today? Because the chicken taste disgusting.

This is one of the only places in Savannah that still requires you to wear a mask and will provide you with one in order to enter. They have a drive thru but only for online orders which I found to be a bit silly. The music inside was rap only and so loud that you cant hear yourself think. The wings were overpriced for the quality. My wings were so over cooked that it was as if they had been in a dehydrator for half a day. Half of the meat was crunchy like chips. I will never spend another dollar at this place and do not recommend.

What a nice find in Savannah. Very cool, chill Cafe. Delicious soul food brunch and relaxed atmosphere with soothing soulful sounds and walls draped in interesting and cool African American art. GREAT SERVICE (THANKS JADE), Superb Food and ULTIMATE PLAYLIST to create the vibe I wanted. We came here for a light breakfast after a night on the town and Kim’s did not disappoint. I had been craving a good salmon patty ( and I’m funny when it comes to what I call a good salmon patty). Well let me tell this is def the spot for it. I got the salmon patty breakfast sandwich (excellently priced) with scrambled eggs and cheese, a side of butter grits and a chamomile hot tea with cream and Splenda. Man but by the time Jade (our lovely and hospitable, might I add), server returned for a 2 min/2 bite check in I was already shaking a tail feather in my seat the food was so good I highly recommend Kim’s and definitely ask for Jade she knows what’s going on. I’m still sitting here as I type shaking and grooving. LUV IT HERE!!!! It’s a vibe.

Kim’s Cafe was worth the hype. My brother in law from Nassau, Bahamas who stops in during SSU’s homecoming every year has been talking about this place for a while. I live right here in Savanah and had never visited until today with some visiting friends and they too like myself said we’d certainly return. We went in at the perfect time as we walked in and sat down and watched the restaurant within minutes of our entry. We did wait about 30 minutes for our food, but clearly it’s because they spend time making sure every dish is made right. We ordered a lot and everyone was happily satisfied. Hope you will be too!

We did an over the phone order. They do ask you to pay before placing order which is cool. Definitely good portions. I had oxtails and grits was seasoned well, I enjoyed it. My boyfriend had shrimp and grits he also enjoyed it. No complaints, customer service was on point as well.

Loved the artwork around the restaurant! Service was greatly appreciated! The waitress helped me order my food in a way that allowed me to get exactly what I want! We came up with the low country boil over crab fried rice! LISTEN, LISTEN LINDA!!! OMG, THE BEST, THE ABSOLUTE BOMB!!!! Don’t knock it until you try it! It had Conch, shrimp, and sausage(I got mine without sausage). Tasted like my momma cooked for me!! Please RUN RUN, DON’T WALK THERE!!! My daughter enjoyed her meal as well!! Thank you Kim’s Cafe, will definitely be back!!!

Went to this establishment after seeing a review from a coworker. He really enjoyed, so me and my family went to try it out. Walked in and was immediately seen to order take out. Very lovely spot with awesome black art throughout. I ordered the blackened chick breast with mac&cheese and corn on the cob. Everything was delicious very well seasoned, nice and hot still even after driving home. Very well done and I will most certainly refer friends and family

I usually love their food and would recommend them but NOT TODAY! I ordered thru ubereats and my total was around $32 for Smothered pork chops w/white rice, yams and collard greens. Plus some peach cobbler for dessert. Half of the pork chop was nothing but fat. I did not receive the yams ( gave me double greens and didn’t ask the driver to ask me would I like double greens or another side) or my drink. Let’s not even get started on the 4 (made on 07/02 , today’s is 07/06) day old peach cobbler that was $6 . It was mushy and tasted awful. I think I’ll take a break from this place and hopefully it will be better next time.

It’s a no for me, first and last time. Grits were cold & stiff, eggs were burned, fish had a good taste but batter was falling off completely. Food looked nothing like what is pictured, whoever cooked this needs to be ashamed, doesn’t look appetizing period

If you're craving wings, look no further than It's Just Wings on Abercorn St. This spot specializes in delivering exactly what you want: delicious boneless or bone-in wings paired with a side of fries or celery. Open daily from 11 am to 10:45 pm, It's Just Wings offers an array of tantalizing sauce flavors that are sure to become your new favorites. Many patrons have discovered this gem through delivery services like DoorDash and rave about the timely arrival of their hot meals.
10/15/2021 I was searching on DoorDash and I came across this restaurant. I received my food on time and it was all hot and correct. The food was very delicious. We will be eating here again. I ordered two 16piece bone in wings, one lemon pepper and the other mango sweet spicy habernero. Curly fries come with wings . I must say the wings and fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection. This my first time trying habernero and that is delicious 😋. The fries weren't soggy either. Each order was spilt into 2 trays. That was perfect.

Inside chili's wings have good flavor and are good sized

I’ve ordered wings from here a few times. I’m usually satisfied with my order, hence the 4 stars, but a star is lost due to my experience tonight. I preordered through DoorDash at 9P to have my food picked up at 10P. I arrived about 15 minutes early so that I could ensure my food was hot and ready when it was finished. I pulled up and seen my food was already ready, sitting on the rack and I was certain it was sitting there for awhile. I checked my food before I left to see the fries were aging. The chicken was also just about cold. I pointed out to the lady working the curbside pick up counter that I ordered my food to be ready at 10P and that I got there early to see my food was already sitting and cold. I kindly requested that the food be remade. She claimed to had spoke with her manager who said it couldn’t be remade “because it was ordered through DoorDash” which doesn’t make sense because DoorDash didn’t cook the food. Luckily I was fully refunded by DD due to the quality of my food, but the situation with Chili’s/ It’s Just Wings tonight was poorly handled. Oh, and I ordered a 12-piece boneless wing and got 10 🙃

I will never order from this place ever again! I ordered my food through Door Dash and this is the wings I received! Gross!
Shanequa H — Google review
Ordered wings with extra sauce on the side and a dessert. The chicken wings were as dry as possible, no sauce on them, absolutely no flavor. They are using this restaurant as a disguise for Chilis. They are the worst wings I have ever had. Had 2 and threw them away. They also forgot my dessert and extra sauce.

Okay, so I’m normally not one to seriously complain. But to start with “It’s Just Wings” doesn’t exist. This location is just the Chillis on Abercorn. Second, I waited half an hour for 2 appetizers. I just wanted some boneless wings to bring home for the family. Like not a big order. I asked for an ETA about 25 minutes into the wait and they said it’ll be out shortly. I understand the service industry can be pretty busy, so I get that part. But my food came out cold. I mean like COLD cold. It was like they put in a refrigerator for the entire time I was waiting. I paid $30 for a 30 minute wait and cold food. I took them home and heated them back up in the oven. Made it salvageable. I wouldn’t recommend, try something else.
Elijah D — Google review
This is not a wing restaurant - it’s Chili’s. Your order will not be prepared on time or cooked well, and you will need to go inside to get it, otherwise you will be waiting a long time for curbside when your order is sitting right beside the door. There are obviously some holes in the IJW/Chili’s integration and service processes. I had to bake the wings for at least 15-20 more minutes at home before I felt comfortable eating them. They were mediocre, not specialty at all. If you advertise just doing one thing, it’s pretty sad when you can’t even do that one thing well.
Julie C — Google review
Ordered through DoorDash when I got my food the wings were undercooked near raw. The flavor was horrible... imagine bitting into your food and seeing it one degree past still bleeding. Never again! Then the unwillingness to correct the issue because, I waited till the next day to complain. I was working so I waited. However, I still had the full plate as proof. Never Again!!!

On a QUICK stop through, I tried the french ribs per the owner's recommendation plus a side of green beans. They were tasty and cheap - great combo!!! Just over $8 for four ribs, a side, a roll, and a drink is hard to beat!!!

Mannnn!!! Let me tell you that Mac & Cheese is off the chain! I ordered honey ginger wings with an order of small fries and mac & cheese. The food was made fresh so there is a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it!
