Took the short 90 min tour. The equipment is clean and up to standards. The route is easy and decently scenic to view. You can spot a few seasonal birds here as well. For us, we spooted snake beaks, kingfishers and cranes. I'd suggest to take the morning batch, wear extremely light clothes and shorts as they definitely will be soaked. Also the owner Prakash is a lovely person, thats the kind of guy youd wanna meet in Goa, friendly and funny. You should try this atleast once, getting to kayak in the mangroves is a good experience.

Did the 1.5 hr tour with our family & it was such a pleasant experience!! They explained everything well so we felt super safe & had great quality equipment. Wonderful morning kayaking. Saw several kingfishers, red kites, and many other birds. So beautiful scenery. We loved the white and bright pink lotus flowers. Sadly members of the group pulled them up and took with them! Why do people want to destroy nature!!

I did the kayak trip with other two friends. We have been Goa several times but went mostly the 'fun' locations. In this strip we decided to explore Goan Countryside. The backwater kayak was perfect in that perspective. We took the 4:30-6pm slot (in Dec) and it was perfect because the sun was going down, the wind was smooth and a little chilly. Satish, our guide was very polite, laid back and fun. Defintely recommend this experience!

Bambolim Beach is a beautiful beach to visit despite the fact you'll be able to come across many tourists as well as locals. There's plenty of parking space just outside the beach, for 2 wheelers you can very well use the narrow path which leads to the beach.

Good beach to enjoy sunset as there is no crowd. Very small beach, and gets smaller during high tide. Located near to Grand Hyatt and Bambolim beach resort. You can do photography on rocks but be careful some are sharp. You can see sailing. Gradual slope. Didn't see life guard but so go in water at your own risk. Flags are used but. Sand and sea restuarant serves beverages and food.

While touring Goa, we visited Bambolim Beach. It's a pristine spot located in Bambolim, North Goa, just 7 km away from Panjim. 🌊✨ This beach is famous for being a virgin beach, untouched by commercialization and barely ever crowded. 🏝️ The sunsets here are just awesome! 🌅

It was so great experience. I guess its because we did everything early in the morning and it was totally a great idea instead of evening. Special thanks to Callum - the instructor and a great teacher, i could learn to do standing paddle surfing efficiently in only half an hour max.

Had a wonderful time kayaking at the cavellosim location. Beautiful mangroves and flying fox bats. 🦇. Callum and Lavito were our guides. They are absolute pleasure to hang out with. Charmaine was very helpful and accommodating when it came to change in plans. Really easy going and wonderful to work with. Amazing experience with outstanding efforts from Instructor Mr Callum to orient the participants with the Kayaking session. He was proactive in cautioning us not to be complacent from previous kayak experience in lakes and warned us about the relative kayak instability at sea. My relationship with the waters changed for the best; what once felt vast and intimidating now feels like home. This experience was beyond just kayaking—it was transformative. We booked the Sunset Kayaking experience at Hollant beach. We thoroughly enjoyed paddling in the sea and watching the sunset from our kayaks. Calib, our guide, was a very helpful, knowledgeable and jolly person. He briefed us on the equipment and safety measures. He also shared a lot of information on wind patterns, types of fish, birds, adventure sports, etc. We are looking forward to another paddling session, this time to watch the sunrise 🌄

Went for the Twilight kayaking experience and very frankly this was the most fun i have had in the sea. Never thought i would ever go so far out into the sea in my own little tiny boat 😜 We experienced the sunset and moonrise in a way we never had before. While the baga beach is the most populated beach in Goa the creek has its own charm. There are a lot of fishermen at the creek. One can buy fresh fish and crab here that too right when the fishermen are untangling the fishes and crabs caught in their nets. The baga creek is also very beautiful. This is where the water steam joins the sea. Beware!! never swim here as one can get sucked to depth in an instant. But it's a must visit place.

A beautiful small river which starts in Verna and ends in Betul. Unfortunately this river is being used to dump garbage by many illiterate dirty people who will end up making this river a gutter. If any of those people are reading- PLEASE DON'T POLLUTE OUR BEAUTIFUL SAL RIVER AND BEAUTIFUL GOA and If you can't stop polluting then please get out of Goa!!

Beautiful...there are some restaurants on the river side..we can enjoy dinner there. We may get some fresh catch to buy on the way. there are spots for fishing as well.

In September this beach is quite empty but that's the plus point as it becomes so peaceful and beautiful. Nice breeze and very much clean. Yuy can spend more time with you sitting at the shore. Very less people come to visit this beach ⛱️ as water sports activities are closed. So if you need some peace, you can definately come to visit.

Very nice beach in Goa. Safety seems to be their main focus which is very nice to see. Shopping outside beach is Plenty and you will get similar feels in every shop so no point in haggling Shack seems fine but also overpriced. Parking for bikes are adequate and easy to access

Visited Calangute Beach in Goa — one of the best beaches with crystal-clear water and vibrant vibes. The atmosphere was lively, and the view was simply stunning!

Palolem Beach is undeniably beautiful and relaxing, with its crescent shape, calm waters, and palm fringed shore. It’s one of the better beaches in South Goa for a mix of peace, scenery, and light activity. However, it’s also becoming increasingly commercialized, and the lack of proper infrastructure in parts holds back the experience especially during peak season.

My favorite beach in India so far! Has everything.. sunset, backwaters, great food, nice shopping, water & adventure activities, mangrove boating etc and super calm waters.

Nice cozy beach in South Goa. Lovely place to swim with very calm waters. Great night life on the beach with beach side tables and colorful performances by local artistes. Most tourists come here. Great place to shop. Agonda beach is 15 minutes drive from here. When I visited this time, there was a high tide and the beach was not accessible from the main entrance. Water had come all the way till the restaurants.

Since it’s the southernmost beach of Goa, the crowd is minimal, especially from Indian tourists. You’ll mostly see foreign tourists around, which adds to the relaxed vibe. I’ve visited almost every major beach in Goa during my last 7 trips, and this one stands out as my personal favorite. Staying in a beach hut with an ocean view room right on the shore made the experience unforgettable.

This beach is one of my favourite beach in goa after seashell beach. not the Palolem beach but if you walk few kms they you'll find monkey island near the beach to the right side of palolem beach and to the left side of palolem beach you'll find a mountain which is really beautiful and the beach looks good from there and the rock formations of mountains are really beautiful. we didn't get a chance to go butterfly beach because of high tide and the rain still it's worth to try. also there are many beautiful shells here you'll find during your walk.

Visiting from the UK There are a fair few beach shacks along the beach. All seemed to offer drinks and food. The initial part of the beach had quite a bit of rubbish along it but further down was clean. We used some beach loungers, the owner only wanted is to buy some drinks from his shack. Off of the beach there are fair few shops which have everything from the normal tourist tat stuff (which my kids love), clothing, bags, cups, wooden items.... To much to list.

I’ve also read that it houses the silver casket of St. Francis Xavier, which attracts pilgrims from all over, and the adjoining art gallery adds a nice cultural touch. It seems like a perfect spot for anyone interested in history, architecture, or spiritual heritage. Definitely on my must-visit list for the next Goa trip!

Fort Aguada is Goa's largest and most well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese fort. It was strategically important, housing a massive freshwater reservoir that gave it the name 'Aguada' (watery). The fort complex features the historic, four-story Aguada Lighthouse, one of Asia's oldest. It offers visitors spectacular, panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River mouth. It is an ideal destination for history enthusiasts and capturing breathtaking sunset photos.

Walk through a page of your history books while visiting this fort. Situated right next to the Arabian Sea, the Fort also houses a lighthouse and a viaduct. Although the Fort itself is small in size, it remains a significant visit while in North Goa. The ticket price is 25 INR and you can buy online tickets from Archaeological Survey of India website. If you are willing to buy tickets from the Fort itself, they charge the same in the ticket counter, but take only cash. Additionally, you can visit a lighthouse that is situated roughly 100m from the fort where you can go right to the top and enjoy amazing views of the sea. Parking is also available for scooters and cars alike.

We recently visited Fort Aguada, and it’s definitely one of those places that blends history, scenic beauty, and a calm seaside atmosphere all in one spot. However, it’s worth knowing that the accessible area is smaller than you might expect, and there isn’t much in terms of exhibits or detailed historical displays — it’s more of an open structure with ruins and walls. Facilities like restrooms or food stalls are limited, so plan accordingly. Still, I really appreciated the peaceful vibe, panoramic views, and the historical aura of the place. Ruins of an old Portugese fort that housed a light house and a water tank that collects rain water. This water was used for filling drinking water in sailing ships. Amazing to note that the Rainwater collection and storage was there hundreds of years ago by the Portugese!!! Nothing much to see here but the scenery is good. View of the sea from the fort is really beautiful. People do take a lot of photographs with the sea and fort as the background. Visitors are not allowed to climb the old lighthouse inside the fort , but there is a new light house nearby and and visitors can climb up and enjoy the view.

I attended the mass on Sunday morning 8:15 am, a very quaint and quiet church amidst all the noisy tourist shuttling at the foot of the church. They conduct masses in English , Portuguese , mixed mass and even Marathi and Konkani. This structure still holds the history of the Portuguese invaders. There are multiple ways to getting to the church which i figured I wont tell here since tourists do tourist stuff! This church boasts friendly priests, short and sweet masses, and extremely kid friendly activities that the church is aiming to involve more. I pray this beautiful church continues holding its legacies for centuries to come.

A beautiful and well-maintained church in Goa- Our Lady of Immaculate Church (a favourite destination of Bollywood directos). However, it got closed at 12:30 pm. It is advisable to check the opening and closing time on Google before visiting the church. If late, you will have to take photos outside the premises and as 3 crowded streets meet at this point, it's not advisable to pose for the photos here. There are shops nearby where you may get jewellery, clothes, purses, magnetic show pieces, belts, etc. at a very reasonable rate.

We had an absolutely magical time. A gentle drizzle, sunshine, rainbow and a beautiful sunset. All in 3 hours. A shout out to the lovely crew- Simply, Viraj and Yeshwant. This is my second time with Konkan Explorers. Really appreciate their professionalism.

What a thrilling experience man! This was my first time of kayaking and had a really great experience. They took us to the river and gave us training. Then they took us bw the mangroves forest where we kayak nearly 45 50 mins. Then after returning back they gave us some snacks which was wholesome. Also at the end they will send you beautiful pictures of yours. MUST TRY GUYS. It was an amazing experience.

Beautiful and scenic spot. You can spend a whole day sitting in this peeble beach with the soothing sound of waves and the waves hitting the rocks and making the soothing sound to ears and soul. Please make a note that this beach does not have any lifeguards and other safety precautions. This spot is good for scenic photography and videography. You have to go down a steap steps to enjoy the beach waves.

Wonderful and scenic views from the top of the fort. It's a huge plateau area and full of greenery , perfect for a jungle safari! We even saw a peacock flying on the fort. There's a pebble point which goes down to the beach which has a lot of pebbles. There's an interesting viewpoint from the pebble beach as well.

The best part of this fort is just the view point and there’s a hidden and small pebble beach through this fort. It’s nice and wonderful place to visit if you have time. Otherwise you can skip this fort and go to Palolem beach and butterfly beach.

Its a hidden gem and getting so many eyeballs year after year. Views are breathtaking and you just fall in the awe of the beauty which is present there. Really calm and serene place. Well maintained and plenty of parking also available.

Butterfly Beach was an okay experience for me—not as spectacular as I expected. It’s around a 1-hour journey from Calangute, and the final stretch of the route is a bit rough. About 5 kilometers before reaching the beach, the road turns into a bumpy, soil path. From the drop-off point, you can either walk around 2 kilometers or take a jeep ride, which costs ₹250 per person. Scooters are another option if you have one. The jeep ride itself was fun and bumpy, adding a bit of adventure to the journey. Once dropped near the beach, there’s still a 200-meter walk to reach the shore. Visitors are advised to return by 7:30 PM, as the area becomes less accessible after that. The beach view was decent, with high waves crashing in regularly. A few small waterfalls trickle down from the surrounding hills, flowing directly into the sea. These added a refreshing touch to the scenery. At one point, a strong wave hit me while I was clicking pictures, and I ended up using the waterfall to rinse off. Overall, Butterfly Beach offers a mix of adventure and calm, but for me, it didn’t quite live up to the hype.

Not worth the effort at all. First, you have to cross about 1 km of bad road to even reach the entry point. After that, there’s an open ground for parking, post which cars aren’t allowed. You have to take a jeep for 250 rupees per person for barely half a kilometer. The ride is super bumpy, waterlogged, and even a bit risky at some points. We saw people on two-wheelers stuck and pushing their bikes. After the jeep ride, you need to walk around 200 meters on a narrow path that fits just one person at a time. And after all that, the beach is honestly very basic and disappointing. Swimming isn’t allowed, and there’s nothing much to do or see. We barely stayed for 15 minutes before heading back. There are people offering boat rides to Honeymoon Beach, but after the tiring journey, we decided to skip it. Overall, not worth the hassle

Butterfly Beach is a secluded, scenic beach in South Goa known for its tranquil atmosphere, butterfly-shaped cove, and occasional dolphin sightings. It is accessible by boat from Palolem or Agonda beaches, or by trekking through a forest from the Agonda side. It is a non-commercial area, so visitors should carry their own food and water.

Secluded and clean beach. Waves are quite rough and the water gets deep. Easier to go via boat from nearby palolem, Agonda or patnem beaches than the hike from porsu/leopard valley.

There are two ways to reach this beach , either by boat or by road. You can take a boat from Palolem Beach, which also covers several scenic spots along the way. I recommend taking the boat, as the road route is entirely off-road and quite rough

this is one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches of Goa. When we went there were only 10 to 12 people on this beach. You can reach the beach via a jeep or you can walk the whole 2km section. i would say it’s a must visit beach if you are in south goa. There’s only one shack closer to this beach around 50m away with washroom and shower facilities.

It is a must visit beach in south Goa. But the way to the beach is a whole adventure in itself. I travelled to Goa in the monsoons. The roads were muddy and had crater-like potholes. The road to the parking lot is meant for SUVs not sedans. Take the rentals only if you're confident in your driving skills. From the parking area, it's 2.5 km to the jeep parking lot. The jeeps charge Rs.250 per person for the roundtrip. I had to walk 2.5 km to the beach because the jeep service hadn't begun. But it was a great hike. On the return walk the jeep service had started so, we took the jeep back to the parking lot. They still charged us the entire amount. Visit the beach early in the morning because there aren't any crowds and the boats from palolem haven't arrived.

Free Entry in Goa State Museum. Lots of art and sculptures are there in the showcase. Unfortunately there is not much space to put all the art together. Many of them are in Godown and not in the showcase. Must visit, it is near the Cruise entry gate.

Very small. Could be better. Goa has rich heritage and has undergone intense freedom struggle. But the museum sadly doesn't reflect it. Disappointed 😔

Cool and free museum. Good selection of artifacts for its size. Make sure to see the woodwork items, especially the pillars at the beginning and the inlaid furniture from the Portuguese era. There's some sati stones commemorating women who committed suicide on their husband's funeral pyre.

Rare places where we find our Indian culture around Goa is at Goa state museum... we can find most of the relics and ruins of our anciestary sculpures and dieties along with the historical western printing machienes and rubberstamp pieces and importantly well carved chariot... eye feast for the artist

For a rich heritage state like Goa this state museum could have been better, very limited artifacts pre portuguese invasion and post invasion. You can cover the entire museum in 15-20 min it is that small. A free to visit museum and located centrally

Dudhsagar falls is great , you should go there per person almost 900rs , enjoy the pool there

While I have been to Doodhsagar falls a couple of times, this time we decided to go on a trek. A total of 12 kilometres from the gate to waterfalls, it was an awesome experience in the morning. Walking through the forest, if you are a nature person, then I bet you will enjoy the early mornings. All is good until you have walk back 12 kms .. it was not at all fun to walk back in the scorching sun ... Yet it was fine .. overall an unique experience.

We wanted to go to Dudhsagar waterfall but there were no jeep service available that time hence we took this trekking route for 10 km's. We have walked through this jungle, its has got lots n lots of surprises. It was raining and river was flowing on its full throttle. I can't explain it was so beautiful.

Nice place to visit, fantastic waterfall. Monkeys can be a bit fiesty. Not too difficult to walk from the parking area as long as you're not unsteady on your feet. People with walking difficulties may have problems. Not the season to see the elephants when we visited.

Dodhsagar water fall is present in it, need to carry cash here, good place for trekking, safe haven for endangered species, contribute to environmental education, conservation, and community well-being, provide a space for visitors to learn about biodiversity, ecosystems, and the importance of conservation in a hands-on, engaging way.

Amazing view of sunrise with a background choir of birds Go early to catch the sunrise from the depths of the ocean on the horizon of this beautiful long beach. The beach itself is filled with shells and small rocks but the view is amazing and the water is very calm compared to other beaches, no hard waves , no strong winds or tides, shallow waters suitable for beginners and families. Very calm and less crowded as it's not a party places. Biggest problem here is no restaurants or eateries nearby except for Copa Cabbana which opens at 10:30 am and stays open till night but it's a low end booze joint.

Best place and the only beach in Goa to watch Sunrise. It's a small beach, and there's not much. Very Good for watching sunrise.

This Beach is one of my favourite spot for picnics. I have enjoyed a lot of my childhood days with parents' family and friends on this Beach which is explored and visited by many a local crowd and also by people from far. The unique part of this Beach is that one can enjoy swimming without the fear of being drowned as this is the only beach which is landlocked from three sides. Also this Beach has no deep spot which endangers life as you can see the same from the pictures attached. This place is still the favourite be it family picnics of friends get-together for a short time. Once visited this Beach has its own uniqueness which draws you again to this place. Not much crowd for a evening quite seat out. Enjoy the view and go back happy. Cheers 🥂

Hollant beach attracts many locals and visitors, tourists in season. Hollant beach is known to be the only beach in Goa where you can see a sunrise. If you are visiting Bogmalo beach then don’t miss this beach as it’s nearby. South Goa’ aother beach is Bogmalo (8 km), next to the Vasco (Dabolim) airport. Just a little away (a left turn on the road takes you to Hollant beach. Near to this beach is Famous 3 kings’ church at Velsao and Velsao Beach. São Jacinto Island is merely at a 10mns drive from Dabolim airport and falls on the way while traveling to North goa from Dabolim airport. It's a very small island with merely 200-300 people living here. There's a church here which I believe opens only for the Sunday mass, followed by a restaurant named Bridge & Tunnel which serves good seafood and also offers Kayaking and boat rides. There's nothing much to do at this island, except the fact that it offers immense peace and serenity, both around sunrise as well as sunset. It is surely worth visiting here from a short while.

I would recommend this place to anyone who loves the thrill of trekking. I visited this beach for a kayaking experience, but the road to the beach is quite challenging on two-wheelers. After parking at a certain point, you need to walk for about 10–15 minutes to reach the beach — but it’s totally worth it, as the place is extremely beautiful 😍. On one side, you’ll find Cola Beach, and on the other side, the Cola Beach lagoon, which is perfect for kayaking. Do remember to bargain with the kayaking operators, as they usually quote much higher prices. Generally, you can get a kayak ride for two people at around ₹400 if you negotiate well.

Cola Beach is a beautiful and remote beach worth the visit. We were there on a Sunday, and unfortunately, the weather was not great. To arrive there, the path from the main road is rough, and if rainy, big potholes fill up with water making it muddy. If you arrive at the top of the stairs on the south side, you cannot go down to the beach during the high tide. Instead, head back to the Samyama Resort and walk over the bridge crossing the river. You will then walk to the Blue Lagoon resort and arrive at the beach from the north side. The beach was beautiful but relatively busy and with trash floating around. Still, a nice spot that is worth the effort to get there. There is a bar where you can have a drink and enjoy the view, even when raining.

There will be an 20min off roading to reach this remote beach, but worth the views. Best beach to visit at sunset, cheap and great scenary for backwater kayaking. The backwaters reached the beach. Such a beautiful view and photo spot. But avoid the beach shacks here, quite costly. Plan to pack your snacks.

We had a beautiful weekend friendship day celebration, of 4 families comprising 2 generations & forever memories at the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary and the beautiful Sylvan Eco Cottages. The resort offered an all inclusive package which included trails , zoo entry , yoga and all meals .The jungle trails and the sightings of various birds & spotted deer's were our personal highlights . As far as the resort goes, The rooms were refurbished with large balconies and there was a well laid out and tasty lunch and breakfast meals with local authentic dishes. The staff were all locals and very friendly and approachable. Just a word of caution considering you are in the wildlife sanctuary there may not be connectivity, So leave your work behind and come and refresh yourself and be one with nature our best healer

A really nice zoological park. Amazing walk into woods and as well different species of animals. Good place with family and specially for kids. To reach here drive also amazing. But drive careful and slow.

The wildlife sanctuary was good, clean. Most of the animals are in good condition, except the wolves( coyotes) they were in stress. Too small place for the big pack they keep in small area. We visited at the weekend so it was pretty busy, better come during the week. The price for two people was 100 rupees. There's also fees for the camera 📷 50 rupees. Recommend for visit.

First time I had the beautiful kayaking experience at Baga Beach. Per boat 500rs, if you go with two person then you can share 250rs per head. Water level is 5ft but no worries. It's really a nice place to do kayaking. Don't do kayaking before 3pm. It's too hot.

My second visit here, these guys have levelled up. This time we got the newly introduced transparent kayaks. We enjoyed shooting our 2nd video here. Pics for references... The hosts are amazing, was the perfect start to this beautiful morning..

We had the best experience of the kayaking at Baga beach. The team is really cooperative. It was our first time, but it was a smooth ride for us. Safety jackets are provided at the spot. It's a good store with lots of necessary items available. The only issue is some cashiers are not friendly. Not all. Some. On a rainy day u have to remove your raincoat and go in or they show you the door or grumble in front of you throughout. It is difficult to remove the raincoat every time u enter for 2 minutes.

Recently visited Varca Home Centre, which also has a cake shop attached to it called Moginiz. Unfortunately, the store isn’t the same as it used to be. Moginiz now has very limited stock, with only a few items available – and you’re left unsure about their freshness. Overall, the place feels like it’s in urgent need of renovation and proper restocking of daily essentials to bring it back to its earlier standard.

I purchased a chocolate mousse cake from monginis in home centre on 16 th April and its taste was spoilt taste. Coz of that our birthday celebration went flop. The next day i bought the same cake and gave back to the store. The sales person told me to write a complaint on the the dairy . Now it's been almost 15 days i haven't received any response. And it's been 1week I kept on asking the sales person about the updates and she always says that she will update by tomorrow. But that Tommorow is still not yet come. It's really embarrassing.

Unforgettable. Truly amazing! One of the best experiences in Goa. Mr. Prakash is extremely friendly and gives clear instructions so we knew exactly what we were signing up for including what to wear (I wore flip flops and sports shorts. A cap and suncream is essential!). We took our phones as there is ample opportunity for photographs. They didn’t really get wet and our guide was extremely careful when getting us onto and off the kayaks. Mr. Prakash is a great person to run the trip. He is well spoken and well travelled so a great person to speak with. He clearly kayaks a lot and gave a great safety instruction as well as showing us his local knowledge. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and wants them to have the best experience. On the day he gave great advice and tips. We went on the morning trip which wasn’t too early. Our guide was lovely and helped with spotting birds (he had a great eye). A truly unique and peaceful trip I felt amazing after. Definitely good for your mental health and extremely mindful! It is worth every rupee as a unique experience with someone with great knowledge. We are staying in a resort approximately 15 mins away. Would recommend finding a local taxi driver or rikshaw driver to take you to the location or GoaMiles app as resorts wanted to charge us double the amount. We paid 900 rupees for a round trip with a rikshaw (resort wanted to charge us 1000 for one way!) The trip lasted 1.5-2 hours which was the perfect amount of time. It was not rushed and we saw plenty of different types of birds and mangroves. The scenery is unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. Thank you again!

This is not just a kayak ride, it's an unforgettable experience. I joined first early morning batches in North Goa (Chapora river) and in South Goa (Sal backwaters) through them. First batch is the best time to spot maximum exotic birds while kayaking through the mangrove. The organizers and guides are friendly, very well-organized, trained and knowledgeable.

Had a memorable time kayaking in the Sal backwaters with my wife. Definitely one of the must do activities in Goa. Prakash was very approachable and helped set up the trip amidst some changes a few days before. We were joined by 5 others and the group size was just perfect. Our guide was very friendly and was very helpful in maneuvering us through mangroves and bushes. The kayaking trip was moderate and a worthwhile experience for beginners. The lotus pond was indeed the highlight, found white & pink lotuses. However we could not sight as many birds as we hoped, but nevertheless the entire experience was great.Would highly recommend it to everyone when your planning your Goa trip.

The Kali River or Kali nadi is a river flowing through Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka state in India.The river rises near Kushavali, a small village in Uttar Kannada district. The river is the lifeline to some 400,000 people in the Uttara Kannada district and supports the livelihoods of tens of thousands of people including fishermen on the coast of Karwar. There are many dams built across this river for the generation of electricity. One of the important dams build across Kali river is the Supa Dam at Ganeshgudi. The river runs 184 kilometers before joining Arabian Sea. The Kali River has its origin near the village of Kushavali of Joida Taluka, 15°14′56″N 074°17′58″E, 2011 Census Village code is 602664,[3] in the Western Ghats and flows eastwards into the Supa Dam Reservoir,[4] where it is joined by the Pandri River from the left (north). The Kali exits at Supa Dam near Kurandi then flows east towards Dandeli. Passing south of Dandeli, the Kali River flows southeast into the Bommanalli Reservoir, exiting at the dam and flowing east between the villages of Kegdal on the right (south) and Bommanalli[5] on the left (north). Great unexplored place for a getaway. But be there by 8am to start a trek of 1:30hrs (around 4 km). Better carry some trekking shoes😉. The waterfall is pretty deep not advisable for those who don't know swimming but yea you can enjoy the trekking and view😁

One of the best experiences Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary holds a special place in my heart.

Even though it said it was open we were not able to enter it and the guards would not help us at all, so we drove 2 hours for nothing. A waste of time

It is a beautiful experience to visit the sanctuary, the ranger also is very helpful and will guide you with the proper directions and advice

Peaceful place to visit and and relax, just have to be careful of the leeches during the monsoons

Good for bird lovers....few animals there.... Environment was nice.....less crowded

Me and my friend had a really nice Garden tour experience with Manu! He took us on a lovely tour through his garden and we were able to try all of his well selected plants. There was even some magic happening in the end! We definitly recommend this experience! Next time we come back for canyoning when it has water again!

Had an amazing time canyoning. It's a great way to see the beautiful jungle. Manu seemed to know all the spots in Goa, and guide Luke was very skilled. Everything felt super safe, yet adventurous. Strongly recommend!

Truly one of a kind experience, we had an amazing day with Max, he was patient and knew when to hold back and when to offer a challenge! Very good if you’re a bit nervous! The canyon was incredible and the drive there was also an amazing part of the adventure. Thank you max, and also if you get to meet Emmanuel (the boss man) that is an added bonus as he is hilarious 🌞🌞🌞 well organised and very professional setup, 5 stars 🤩

I had an amazing time canyoning with Max and Sandy! I already went to the same spot 10 years ago and it has only gotten better since. Both Max and Sandy are brilliant guides, who not only are experts at their craft, but also are fun people to spend a day with. I enjoyed so much I went on two trips in 3 days. Can highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time canyoning with Max and Sander - they were really good company and the canyon itself and the walk to and from the canyon in the jungle was stunning. The abseiling and jumps were great fun and just what we’d hoped for. On the jeep ride back they also took us to a couple of excellent delicious food pitstops. Couldn’t recommend this more highly!

The experience is amazing! It wasn't just an adventure trip filled with adrenaline but also a great insight about the jungle of Goa and it's waterfalls. Manu, The main guy is a pretty nice genuine dude. He likes to talk a lot but what he does talk is logical and sometimes even philosophical :) I would highly recommend this trip...

The drive up the mountains in the vintage open-top Jeep is an experience in itself, and the canyoning even better. Max is the ultimate guide; someone you trust entirely with your safety but also makes the day really fun with extra challenges and a laid back approach. Stopping to introduce us to the best omelette sandwich and street food stalls on the way back was a bonus. Highly recommend.

Betty's Boats is a must do super experience Dolphin watching with wonderful food & G&T's. Not crowded and good atmosphere amongst the other tourists
