Canoe & kayak tour agency
Kayaking in the Sal Backwaters is a delightful adventure that caters to both novices and seasoned paddlers alike. Located just 5 km from the source of the Sal River, this serene waterway offers calm conditions perfect for leisurely exploration. As you glide through narrow, dense sections reminiscent of Amazonian waters, you'll be surrounded by lush mangroves and vibrant wildlife. The experience is enhanced by knowledgeable guides who ensure safety while sharing insights about the local ecosystem.
Great Kayaking experience at Sal backwaters (near Majorda) on a Saturday morning. The proprietor Mr. Prakash was very professional, helped us book a date and time as well as getting the appropriate Kayaks and life vests based on the height and weight for each of us. Before the actual Kayaking they walked us through what to expect and gave us a safety demonstration. We were accompanied by an experienced guide throughout our adventure. The entire group enjoyed the experience. Thankful to Goa Kayaking for their professionalism, commitment to safety and passion for Goa's natural beauty.
Mirza B — Google review
Took the short 90 min tour. The equipment is clean and up to standards. The route is easy and decently scenic to view. You can spot a few seasonal birds here as well. For us, we spooted snake beaks, kingfishers and cranes. I'd suggest to take the morning batch, wear extremely light clothes and shorts as they definitely will be soaked. Also the owner Prakash is a lovely person, thats the kind of guy youd wanna meet in Goa, friendly and funny. You should try this atleast once, getting to kayak in the mangroves is a good experience.
Kartik B — Google review
It was a lovely way to start the day. Saw plenty of birds and plants. Our guide was great and was enthusiastic
Ashleigh P — Google review
Did the 1.5 hr tour with our family & it was such a pleasant experience!! They explained everything well so we felt super safe & had great quality equipment. The tour guide was really kind & knew a lot about the birds & trees we saw along route. The tour ended with (yummmmy) veggie homemade Samosa & mango juice. Definitely would recommend :)
Beth P — Google review
The kayaking experience organised by Prakash was amazing and the sal backwaters is an ideal location with lotus ponds etc. Thank you Prakash for your guidance and support.
Praveen S — Google review
We were first skeptical because it was our first Kayaking experience but the professional setup and guidance of Mr. Prakash has allayed all our concerns. Kayaking in the early morning hours of Sal backwaters through the beautiful waterways gave us a scenic view to the journey 🚣 Totally recommend this activity for anyone visiting Goa
Archana A — Google review
Wonderful morning kayaking. Saw several kingfishers, red kites, and many other birds. So beautiful scenery. We loved the white and bright pink lotus flowers. Sadly members of the group pulled them up and took with them! Why do people want to destroy nature!!
Penny E — Google review
I did the kayak trip with other two friends. We have been Goa several times but went mostly the 'fun' locations. In this strip we decided to explore Goan Countryside. The backwater kayak was perfect in that perspective. We took the 4:30-6pm slot (in Dec) and it was perfect because the sun was going down, the wind was smooth and a little chilly. Satish, our guide was very polite, laid back and fun. Defintely recommend this experience!

Very beautiful and serene view with huge cruises in there There is ample space to sit and have your own time if you’re someone who doesn’t like to go on cruise
Swarupa M — Google review
A boys’ trip on a cruise along the Mandovi River in Goa turned out to be one of the most exhilarating and unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment we stepped onto the beautifully lit cruise boat, the energy was electric. The Mandovi River sparkled under the Goan twilight, and the gentle breeze set the perfect mood for the evening. The cruise was lively, with thumping music, Goan folk dance performances, and a dance floor that quickly turned into our group's favorite spot. Surrounded by close friends, the laughter was non-stop, and every moment felt like a celebration of freedom and friendship. We enjoyed chilled drinks and snacks on the deck while soaking in the breathtaking views of Panjim’s riverside, the floating casinos, and the historic Reis Magos Fort. One of the highlights was watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting golden reflections on the water — a surreal sight that made us pause and truly appreciate the moment. As night fell, the river came alive with lights and music, and we danced like no one was watching. What made this cruise extra special was the bond it strengthened among us. Away from work and routine, we laughed, shared stories, and made memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime. It wasn’t just a ride on the river; it was an emotional recharge. A Mandovi River cruise with your best boys is not just a trip — it’s a celebration of friendship, youth, and life.

🤫 Bambolim Beach: Panjim's Serene Secret and Resort Cove! 🌴 RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 – Unmatched Peace, Calm Waters, and Quiet Luxury) Bambolim Beach is one of Central Goa's best-kept secrets. Tucked away in a beautiful, shaded cove south of Panjim, this beach is primarily known to locals, the nearby academic community (Goa University), and guests of the luxury resorts that dot the hillside. It offers a genuine escape—a quiet, pristine bay where the water is calm and the crowds are nonexistent. If you seek tranquility and safe swimming close to the capital, Bambolim is perfect. The Signature Bambolim Experience Pristine Seclusion: Bambolim is dramatically different from the bustle of Miramar or Calangute. It is highly uncommercialized, retaining a natural, untouched feel. The beach is long and flanked by lush greenery, providing ample shade and a sense of true solitude. Calm and Safe Waters: Located within the shelter of the bay, the sea here is typically very calm, clean, and safe for swimming, making it an excellent choice for families and weaker swimmers. The gentle slope of the sand into the water adds to its safety profile. Unique Vibe: The atmosphere is a blend of academic quiet (due to the nearby university) and resort exclusivity. You'll find a quiet dignity here, with most visitors either locals enjoying a peaceful evening or resort guests accessing the beach through private paths. Shell Collector's Paradise: Due to its quiet nature and the way the currents work in the cove, Bambolim is known among locals as a great place for finding unusual and beautiful seashells. Atmosphere and Accessibility Access to Bambolim can be slightly hidden, which helps preserve its peaceful nature. The beach is reached via a quiet road that winds down the hillside. You won't find the density of shacks found elsewhere; instead, you might find one or two small, family-run establishments offering simple, fresh food. 📸 Pro-Tips for Visitors Finding the Entrance: The main entry points are subtle, often near the large resort boundaries or through the paths leading down from the university complex. Look carefully for the small signs. Bring Essentials: Since commercialization is minimal, bring your own water and supplies. The few shacks present are excellent but can be unpredictable in the off-season. Best Time to Visit: Mid-day and early afternoon are exceptionally peaceful, perfect for swimming or reading. At sunset, the quiet is profound, offering a truly reflective moment. Nature Walk: Explore the fringes of the beach where the hills meet the sand; the vegetation here is rich and offers beautiful natural scenery. Conclusion: Bambolim Beach is a rare treasure: a beautiful, safe, and easily accessible beach that feels miles away from the tourist path. If tranquility, safe swimming, and a local, non-commercialized vibe are what you seek, this beach is highly recommended.

Good beach to enjoy sunset as there is no crowd. Very small beach, and gets smaller during high tide. Located near to Grand Hyatt and Bambolim beach resort. You can do photography on rocks but be careful some are sharp. You can see sailing. Gradual slope. Didn't see life guard but so go in water at your own risk. Flags are used but. Sand and sea restuarant serves beverages and food.

While touring Goa, we visited Bambolim Beach. It's a pristine spot located in Bambolim, North Goa, just 7 km away from Panjim. 🌊✨ This beach is famous for being a virgin beach, untouched by commercialization and barely ever crowded. 🏝️ The sunsets here are just awesome! 🌅

It was so great experience. I guess its because we did everything early in the morning and it was totally a great idea instead of evening. Special thanks to Callum - the instructor and a great teacher, i could learn to do standing paddle surfing efficiently in only half an hour max.

Had a wonderful time kayaking at the cavellosim location. Beautiful mangroves and flying fox bats. 🦇. Callum and Lavito were our guides. They are absolute pleasure to hang out with. Charmaine was very helpful and accommodating when it came to change in plans. Really easy going and wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend them for any kayaking trips in sound or north, sea or river!

Amazing experience with outstanding efforts from Instructor Mr Callum to orient the participants with the Kayaking session. He was proactive in cautioning us not to be complacent from previous kayak experience in lakes and warned us about the relative kayak instability at sea. He was kind to capture some memorable moments during the session and share the pics n clips later at night.

A Life-Changing Kayaking Experience in Hollant! My evening kayaking experience in Hollant was nothing short of magical. As the sun painted the sky in hues of gold and orange, we paddled through the calm waters, feeling completely at peace. But the real turning point of the adventure was when Callum, our incredible guide, let us jump right into the middle of the ocean. That moment—floating in the vast, open sea, with nothing but water surrounding me—was indescribable. It was a feeling of pure freedom, an exhilarating rush that made me see the ocean in a completely new light. I went in as one person and came out as another. My relationship with the waters changed for the best; what once felt vast and intimidating now feels like home. This experience was beyond just kayaking—it was transformative. If you ever get the chance to do this in Hollant, don’t hesitate. It’s an adventure that will stay with you forever! 🌊✨🚣‍♂️

We booked the Sunset Kayaking experience at Hollant beach. We thoroughly enjoyed paddling in the sea and watching the sunset from our kayaks. Calib, our guide, was a very helpful, knowledgeable and jolly person. He briefed us on the equipment and safety measures. He also shared a lot of information on wind patterns, types of fish, birds, adventure sports, etc. We are looking forward to another paddling session, this time to watch the sunrise 🌄

Baga Creek, named after the creek that flows into the Arabian Sea, is a popular spot in Goa known for its vibrant markets and beach activities. The area offers a mix of experiences, from enjoying a luxurious breakfast at Infantaria to unwinding on the beach during the day and embracing the lively nightlife scene. While Baga Beach attracts crowds, Baga Creek has its own allure with local fishermen selling fresh catch and offering picturesque views where the water stream meets the sea.
What a fantastic place to enjoy the waves and the beach. I’m sure this is one the best places for a sunset on a cloud free day. Parking for cars are not much, but two wheelers can ride right in. Waves can be pretty rough here so bear this in mind.
Alfred A — Google review
*Baga Beach, Goa: A Vibrant Coastal Hotspot** Baga Beach, located in North Goa, is one of the most popular beaches in the state, known for its lively atmosphere, water sports, and buzzing nightlife. Whether you're a party lover, an adventure seeker, or just looking to relax by the sea, Baga has something for everyone. ### **The Experience** Baga Beach offers a perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. The golden sands, swaying palm trees, and the sound of waves create a soothing vibe, while the beach shacks, clubs, and water sports keep the energy high. ### **Best Time to Visit** The ideal time is from **November to March** when the weather is pleasant, and the beach is at its liveliest. Monsoon (June–September) is less crowded but many shacks and activities are closed. ### **Highlights** ✔ **Water Sports** – Parasailing, jet-skiing, banana boat rides, and more. ✔ **Beach Shacks** – Fresh seafood, cocktails, and Goan delicacies right on the sand. ✔ **Nightlife** – Legendary clubs like **Tito’s, Mambo’s, and Cape Town Café**. ✔ **Shopping** – Flea markets nearby for souvenirs, clothes, and jewelry. ### **Challenges** ⚠ **Crowds** – Gets very packed, especially in peak season (December–January). ⚠ **Hassle from Vendors** – Beach vendors can be persistent. A polite "No, thanks" usually works. ### **Final Verdict** Baga Beach is perfect for those who want fun, sun, and a taste of Goa’s famous party scene. **4/5** – Loses a point for overcrowding and commercialization, but still a must-visit! **Tip:** Visit early morning for a peaceful stroll or sunset for the best views. Also, bargain for water sports!

Peaceful atmosphere nearby creek if there is no shacks loud music and crowd...also above nearby places are beautiful and scenics
Chandesh S — Google review
While the baga beach is the most populated beach in Goa the creek has its own charm. There are a lot of fishermen at the creek. One can buy fresh fish and crab here that too right when the fishermen are untangling the fishes and crabs caught in their nets. The baga creek is also very beautiful. This is where the water steam joins the sea. Beware!! never swim here as one can get sucked to depth in an instant. But it's a must visit place.
Clifford G — Google review
It's a good place to hand out with your friends .. less crowded then the baga beach .. Evening is the best time to visit here to enjoy the sunset ... If you are visiting this place with your friends I request you all to not litter plastic there ..

Serene & unexplored..Baga creek is a stretched tidal estury portion near the baga beach. This creek might be quite hidden from a huge population but offers multiple breathtaking views, clean water, and Epic Sunset on golden hour and it has beautiful O' Larive beach bar at the shore to chill out...

Meandering through the countryside, this river meets the Arabian Sea at Mobor, enhancing the romantic allure of the beach. The surrounding coconut groves and blooming paddy fields further elevate its charm. Additionally, on the other side of the river lies the 17th century Betul Fort, adding historical significance to its natural splendor.

In September this beach is quite empty but that's the plus point as it becomes so peaceful and beautiful. Nice breeze and very much clean. Yuy can spend more time with you sitting at the shore. Very less people come to visit this beach ⛱️ as water sports activities are closed. So if you need some peace, you can definately come to visit.

One of the best and most happening beaches in Goa — definitely a highlight of North Goa. Calangute Beach offers a complete mix of fun, adventure, and local charm. All major water sports like jet ski rides, banana boating, parasailing, and speed boating are available here, and the rates are quite standardized and well controlled by local authorities. Trained lifeguards are always on duty, which adds to the feeling of safety. There are plenty of food and drink options — from beach shacks serving Goan seafood to juice stalls and cafés nearby. The beach also has areas marked for bathing, although the state-provided bathing section is not very clean and can be better maintained. Parking is available near the main entrance, and reaching the beach is easy from any part of North Goa. It gets crowded during weekends and evenings, but that’s part of its charm. Overall, a fun place to spend half a day — ideal for families, couples, and adventure lovers alike! 🌴🌊

Palolem Beach is undeniably beautiful and relaxing, with its crescent shape, calm waters, and palm fringed shore. It’s one of the better beaches in South Goa for a mix of peace, scenery, and light activity. However, it’s also becoming increasingly commercialized, and the lack of proper infrastructure in parts holds back the experience especially during peak season.

Nice cozy beach in South Goa. Lovely place to swim with very calm waters. Great night life on the beach with beach side tables and colorful performances by local artistes. Most tourists come here. Great place to shop. Agonda beach is 15 minutes drive from here. When I visited this time, there was a high tide and the beach was not accessible from the main entrance. Water had come all the way till the restaurants.

I feel this is the best beach in Goa! Honestly, what can I even say about this place — it’s simply stunning. The waves are settled and calm, making it ideal for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing in the water. The water is clear, and the overall vibe is peaceful. One of the highlights for me was the sunset boating, especially the trip to Butterfly Beach — it was nothing short of mesmerizing.water quality on the way was crystal clear. The beach itself is curvy, hugged by mountains on both sides, offering a variety of scenic views that are breathtaking. Since it’s the southernmost beach of Goa, the crowd is minimal, especially from Indian tourists. You’ll mostly see foreign tourists around, which adds to the relaxed vibe. I’ve visited almost every major beach in Goa during my last 7 trips, and this one stands out as my personal favorite. Staying in a beach hut with an ocean view room right on the shore made the experience unforgettable.

Visiting from the UK There are a fair few beach shacks along the beach. All seemed to offer drinks and food. The initial part of the beach had quite a bit of rubbish along it but further down was clean. We used some beach loungers, the owner only wanted is to buy some drinks from his shack. Off of the beach there are fair few shops which have everything from the normal tourist tat stuff (which my kids love), clothing, bags, cups, wooden items.... To much to list.

The Basilica of Bom Jesus, completed in 1605, is a stunning Baroque Catholic church located in Goa. It is home to the tomb of Saint Francis Xavier, making it a significant pilgrimage site for Christians. The church's exquisite baroque designs attract visitors with an appreciation for architectural beauty.
The Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa is one of the most remarkable heritage sites I have ever visited. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it holds immense historical, architectural, and spiritual significance. Built in 1594, this Baroque-style church is over 400 years old and houses the sacred, preserved mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, making it one of the most revered pilgrimage spots for Christians worldwide. The architecture is breathtaking – from the intricate façade to the high vaulted ceilings and beautifully carved altars, every detail reflects the grandeur of Portuguese craftsmanship. Inside, the calm and serene atmosphere immediately fills you with peace. The silver casket of St. Francis Xavier is awe-inspiring, and during the decennial exposition, thousands of devotees come from across the world to pay their respects. Apart from its religious significance, the church is also a treasure for history and art lovers. The walls adorned with frescoes, the elaborate gilded altars, and the rich wooden carvings are worth admiring. The museum within the complex also gives a deep insight into Goa’s colonial past and Christian art. Practical tips: The basilica can get crowded, especially on weekends and during feast days, so mornings are the best time to visit if you want a quieter experience. Modest dressing is advisable since it’s a place of worship. Entry is free, and photography is allowed in most areas, but it’s best to be respectful. Overall, the Basilica of Bom Jesus is not just a church but a living piece of history that blends faith, culture, and architecture beautifully. A must-visit for anyone exploring Goa.

The Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa looks like a fascinating piece of history! From what I’ve read and seen in pictures, it’s one of India’s oldest churches, built in the 16th century, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Portuguese baroque architecture looks stunning, especially the simple yet elegant white exterior and the intricate interiors with gilded altars. I’ve also read that it houses the silver casket of St. Francis Xavier, which attracts pilgrims from all over, and the adjoining art gallery adds a nice cultural touch. It seems like a perfect spot for anyone interested in history, architecture, or spiritual heritage. Definitely on my must-visit list for the next Goa trip!

Fort Aguada is Goa's largest and most well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese fort. It was strategically important, housing a massive freshwater reservoir that gave it the name 'Aguada' (watery). It is an ideal destination for history enthusiasts and capturing breathtaking sunset photos.

If you are willing to buy tickets from the Fort itself, they charge the same in the ticket counter, but take only cash. We recently visited Fort Aguada, and it’s definitely one of those places that blends history, scenic beauty, and a calm seaside atmosphere all in one spot. The fort itself is over 400 years old, built by the Portuguese, and still stands strong overlooking the Arabian Sea. The view from the ramparts is absolutely stunning, especially around sunset — you can see the vast sea, nearby beaches, and the old lighthouse which adds to the charm. It’s a great spot for photography and quiet reflection away from the usual beach crowds. However, it’s worth knowing that the accessible area is smaller than you might expect, and there isn’t much in terms of exhibits or detailed historical displays — it’s more of an open structure with ruins and walls. Facilities like restrooms or food stalls are limited, so plan accordingly. Still, I really appreciated the peaceful vibe, panoramic views, and the historical aura of the place. It’s best enjoyed early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds. ⭐ Overall rating: 4/5 ✅ Best for: History lovers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys sea views ⚠️ Tip: Carry water, wear comfortable shoes, and visit around sunset for the best experience

View of the sea from the fort is really beautiful. People do take a lot of photographs with the sea and fort as the background. I attended the mass on Sunday morning 8:15 am, a very quaint and quiet church amidst all the noisy tourist shuttling at the foot of the church. They conduct masses in English , Portuguese , mixed mass and even Marathi and Konkani. This structure still holds the history of the Portuguese invaders. There are multiple ways to getting to the church which i figured I wont tell here since tourists do tourist stuff! This church boasts friendly priests, short and sweet masses, and extremely kid friendly activities that the church is aiming to involve more. I pray this beautiful church continues holding its legacies for centuries to come.

The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Panaji, Goa is a prominent landmark, often called the "crown of Panaji" due to its elevated position and striking white façade. Built in 1619 (though a chapel existed on the site since 1541), it's a stunning example of Portuguese Baroque architecture with a blend of Goan style. The church features a distinctive double zigzag staircase, added in the late 19th century, and houses the second-largest bell in Goa, salvaged from the ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Grace in Old Goa. Daily masses are held in English, Konkani, and Portuguese. The interior, while not overly extravagant, is colorful and features intricately carved altars. The church is beautifully illuminated at night and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, especially during the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th. The church is easily accessible and offers panoramic views of Panaji. I visited on 4th August 2025

We also took a lot of great photos around the church, especially with its famous zigzag stairs and scenic backdrop. The place looks even more magical in the evening when it’s beautifully lit up. Visited the Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church during my trip to Panjim, and it’s definitely one of the must-visit spots in the city. The bright white church with its beautiful zig-zag staircase looks stunning, especially against the blue Goan sky — a perfect place for photos! You can’t go inside the church, but the exterior itself is worth the visit. Built in the early 1600s, it’s one of the oldest churches in Goa and was originally a small chapel for sailors arriving from Lisbon

A beautiful and well-maintained church in Goa- Our Lady of Immaculate Church (a favourite destination of Bollywood directos). However, it got closed at 12:30 pm. It is advisable to check the opening and closing time on Google before visiting the church. If late, you will have to take photos outside the premises and as 3 crowded streets meet at this point, it's not advisable to pose for the photos here. There are shops nearby where you may get jewellery, clothes, purses, magnetic show pieces, belts, etc. at a very reasonable rate.

Konkan Explorers offers a variety of water experiences, including kayaking trips through the mangroves and leisurely sunset cruises on Chapora river. They also provide overnight houseboat stays for those who prefer a more relaxed water adventure. The company's vessels, Red Mangrove and Stoa, are specially designed in New Zealand to take visitors on exploration tours before starting their kayaking or sailing excursions.
So glad to have chosen Konkan Explorers for my first time kayaking the mangroves! The team was well equipped with knowledge and enthusiasm. Infact they managed to make my reluctant parents feel comfortable and trust the team to join onto the kayak. The cherry on top was them bringing out a fresh fruit platter and beers right in the middle of the river.

We had an absolutely magical time. A gentle drizzle, sunshine, rainbow and a beautiful sunset. All in 3 hours. A shout out to the lovely crew- Simply, Viraj and Yeshwant. This is my second time with Konkan Explorers. Really appreciate their professionalism.

What a thrilling experience man! This was my first time of kayaking and had a really great experience. They took us to the river and gave us training. Then they took us bw the mangroves forest where we kayak nearly 45 50 mins. Then after returning back they gave us some snacks which was wholesome. Also at the end they will send you beautiful pictures of yours. MUST TRY GUYS. It was an amazing experience.

Such a calm yet adventurous experience cruising along the Chapora River and kayaking through the quiet backwaters was unreal. The team was super friendly, professional, and added such a personal touch throughout. Special thanks to the crew for making everything feel safe, fun, and unforgettable 💙 If you’re in Goa, this is the experience you shouldn’t miss! 🌴☀️

They also provided tasty food and beverages, which added to the trip. The staff was highly trained, super helpful, and very friendly, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout. Truly one of the best adventure experiences in Goa – highly recommended!

Went with 6 people on their 3 hour cruise and kayaking experience and it was too good. We had really good time and the crew was also great!! Definitely recommend anyone wanting to do kayaking or any activities to go through them.

What an extraordinary kayaking experience we had, thanks to the impeccable tour organized by Konkan Explorers! We were first-timers, and a bit nervous, but the team put us at ease at the first meeting. AD's guidance, tips, and information on the mangroves were spot-on. He and Narayana ensured that we were well taken care of, not just during the tour but after it too, with thoughtful, nature-friendly snacks and stories. Narayana's coffee was super :) We have brought back fond memories and will return for more!

Historic Sites
Cabo de Rama Fort is a serene Portuguese fortress built in 1763, situated on a cliff overlooking the sea. It features a small chapel and has served as a prison until 1955 before being abandoned. The fort is steeped in history and legends, making it one of the top attractions in Goa. Visitors to Goa can also explore other historical marvels such as Aguada Fort, Chapora Fort, and Fort Tiracol to delve into the city's rich royal past.
The fort itself is quiet and raw, not overly restored or touristy — which is exactly what makes it beautiful. You can still feel the weight of history in the broken walls, yet nature has completely taken over in the best way possible. Monsoon greenery everywhere, and the sea stretching endlessly in every direction. If you catch it at sunset, you're in for something magical. But the real surprise? Pebbles Beach — a hidden gem just below the fort. It’s not easy to reach (a bit of a climb down), but absolutely worth it. A tiny cove with smooth black pebbles instead of sand, waves crashing against the rocks, and barely a soul around. It felt like stepping into a secret world. Tip: Wear good shoes, carry water, and take your time exploring. There's no commercial setup here — and that’s the best part. Cabo de Rama isn’t just a place you see. It’s one you feel.
Anmol B — Google review
Beautiful and scenic spot. You can spend a whole day sitting in this peeble beach with the soothing sound of waves and the waves hitting the rocks and making the soothing sound to ears and soul. Please make a note that this beach does not have any lifeguards and other safety precautions. This spot is good for scenic photography and videography. You have to go down a steap steps to enjoy the beach waves.
Vikram B — Google review
Cabo de Rama Fort is one of the most beautiful and peaceful historical spots in South Goa. The fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and surrounding cliffs — truly a paradise for nature and photography lovers. 🌅📸 The place is clean, calm, and less crowded, which makes it perfect for those who want to escape the busy beaches and enjoy some quiet time. You can easily spend an hour or two here soaking in the natural beauty and cool sea breeze. There’s also a small church inside the fort and plenty of spots to sit, relax, and watch the sunset. The drive to the fort itself is scenic, surrounded by lush greenery and coastal views. It’s a great spot for couples, families, and solo travelers looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of history and stunning sea views.
Shubham S — Google review
Cabo de Rama Fort – A Peaceful Escape in South Goa Located in South Goa, Cabo de Rama Fort is one of those places that beautifully combines history with breathtaking natural views. The fort offers a stunning panoramic sight of the Arabian Sea, with cool breeze and quiet surroundings that make it a peaceful escape from the busier beaches of North Goa. The structure itself is mostly in ruins, but the charm lies in its simplicity and the serene vibe it carries. There’s also a small church inside the fort that adds a touch of heritage and calm to the experience. It’s a great spot for photography and sunset views, though there aren’t many facilities around, so it’s best to carry water or light snacks with you. Overall, Cabo de Rama Fort is perfect for those who love scenic landscapes, history, and a little solitude — a true hidden gem in South Goa.
Deepshikha K — Google review
Wonderful and scenic views from the top of the fort. It's a huge plateau area and full of greenery , perfect for a jungle safari! We even saw a peacock flying on the fort. There's a pebble point which goes down to the beach which has a lot of pebbles. There's an interesting viewpoint from the pebble beach as well.
Prathamesh S — Google review
Cabo de Rama Fort is easily one of the most stunning historical sites in South Goa, offering a perfect blend of rich history and genuinely breathtaking coastal views. Unlike the often-crowded North Goa forts, this site provides a tranquil, dramatic experience that is absolutely worth the drive. The fort stands on a cliff edge, providing a spectacular, sweeping 360-degree panorama of the Arabian Sea. From the weathered ramparts, you can witness the coastline stretch for miles, including distant views of Palolem and its neighboring beaches. It is perhaps the single best place in South Goa to catch a sunset; the ocean view combined with the ancient ruins creates an incredibly photogenic and serene moment. While the fort itself is mostly ruins, the ancient stone walls, massive gates, and the preserved church of Santo Antônio inside (still active today) speak volumes about its turbulent history under various rulers, including the Portuguese. The atmosphere is deeply peaceful and restorative, making it an excellent spot for quiet reflection, reading, or simply enjoying the sea breeze. Key Highlights: Location: Dramatic cliffside setting offering uninterrupted coastal views. Vibe: Tranquil, historic, and ideal for escaping crowds. Photography: A paradise for landscape and sunset photography. If you are traveling through South Goa, make sure to allocate an afternoon to visit Cabo de Rama. Arrive about an hour before sunset, walk the ramparts, soak in the history, and claim your spot for a view you won't soon forget.
Pratiksha D — Google review
The best part of this fort is just the view point and there’s a hidden and small pebble beach through this fort. It’s nice and wonderful place to visit if you have time. Otherwise you can skip this fort and go to Palolem beach and butterfly beach.

Butterfly Beach is a serene and picturesque destination popular with locals and tourists seeking solitude. It is often frequented by couples and honeymooners looking for a private vacation, earning it the nickname 'Honeymoon Beach.' The narrow stretch of sand offers stunning sunset views, making it an ideal spot for romantic getaways. Adventure seekers can also indulge in thrilling activities such as parasailing, scuba diving, kayaking, banana boat rides, and hot air balloon rides at nearby beaches in South Goa.
Butterfly Beach in South Goa is truly a little slice of paradise! 🦋 Hidden away between lush green hills and crystal-clear blue waters, it feels like nature’s own secret getaway. The moment you arrive, whether by a thrilling boat ride from Palolem or a short forest trek, you can instantly feel the calmness and beauty of the place. The beach is quiet, clean, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery it almost feels untouched by the modern world. 🌿 I was amazed by how peaceful it was, with only the sounds of waves and birds filling the air. During sunset, the sky turns into shades of gold and pink, reflecting beautifully on the water it’s honestly one of the most magical sights I’ve ever seen in Goa. 🌅 There aren’t any shops or cafes nearby, so it’s a good idea to carry your own water and snacks, but that also keeps the beach pure and undisturbed. If you love nature, photography, or just want to escape the noisy beaches and spend some quiet time, Butterfly Beach is an absolute must-visit.
Shivkumar K — Google review
Butterfly Beach was an okay experience for me—not as spectacular as I expected. It’s around a 1-hour journey from Calangute, and the final stretch of the route is a bit rough. About 5 kilometers before reaching the beach, the road turns into a bumpy, soil path. From the drop-off point, you can either walk around 2 kilometers or take a jeep ride, which costs ₹250 per person. Scooters are another option if you have one. The jeep ride itself was fun and bumpy, adding a bit of adventure to the journey. Once dropped near the beach, there’s still a 200-meter walk to reach the shore. Visitors are advised to return by 7:30 PM, as the area becomes less accessible after that. The beach view was decent, with high waves crashing in regularly. A few small waterfalls trickle down from the surrounding hills, flowing directly into the sea. These added a refreshing touch to the scenery. At one point, a strong wave hit me while I was clicking pictures, and I ended up using the waterfall to rinse off. Overall, Butterfly Beach offers a mix of adventure and calm, but for me, it didn’t quite live up to the hype.
Sunil R — Google review
Not worth the effort at all. First, you have to cross about 1 km of bad road to even reach the entry point. After that, there’s an open ground for parking, post which cars aren’t allowed. You have to take a jeep for 250 rupees per person for barely half a kilometer. The ride is super bumpy, waterlogged, and even a bit risky at some points. We saw people on two-wheelers stuck and pushing their bikes. After the jeep ride, you need to walk around 200 meters on a narrow path that fits just one person at a time. And after all that, the beach is honestly very basic and disappointing. Swimming isn’t allowed, and there’s nothing much to do or see. We barely stayed for 15 minutes before heading back. There are people offering boat rides to Honeymoon Beach, but after the tiring journey, we decided to skip it. Overall, not worth the hassle
Anjani A — Google review
Butterfly Beach is a secluded, scenic beach in South Goa known for its tranquil atmosphere, butterfly-shaped cove, and occasional dolphin sightings. It is accessible by boat from Palolem or Agonda beaches, or by trekking through a forest from the Agonda side. It is a non-commercial area, so visitors should carry their own food and water.
Pushpendra C — Google review
Secluded and clean beach. Waves are quite rough and the water gets deep. Easier to go via boat from nearby palolem, Agonda or patnem beaches than the hike from porsu/leopard valley.
Kartik K — Google review
There are two ways to reach this beach , either by boat or by road. You can take a boat from Palolem Beach, which also covers several scenic spots along the way. I recommend taking the boat, as the road route is entirely off-road and quite rough
Vedant M — Google review
this is one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches of Goa. When we went there were only 10 to 12 people on this beach. You can reach the beach via a jeep or you can walk the whole 2km section. i would say it’s a must visit beach if you are in south goa. There’s only one shack closer to this beach around 50m away with washroom and shower facilities.
Aanchal J — Google review
It is a must visit beach in south Goa. But the way to the beach is a whole adventure in itself. I travelled to Goa in the monsoons. The roads were muddy and had crater-like potholes. The road to the parking lot is meant for SUVs not sedans. Take the rentals only if you're confident in your driving skills. From the parking area, it's 2.5 km to the jeep parking lot. The jeeps charge Rs.250 per person for the roundtrip. I had to walk 2.5 km to the beach because the jeep service hadn't begun. But it was a great hike. On the return walk the jeep service had started so, we took the jeep back to the parking lot. They still charged us the entire amount. Visit the beach early in the morning because there aren't any crowds and the boats from palolem haven't arrived.

While I have been to Doodhsagar falls a couple of times, this time we decided to go on a trek. A total of 12 kilometres from the gate to waterfalls, it was an awesome experience in the morning. Walking through the forest, if you are a nature person, then I bet you will enjoy the early mornings. With minimal underwater currents, it's a safe place for swimming away from the tourist crowds. Perfect sunrise view point. Less crowded than other beaches. One must visit this place when in Goa. Family friendly.

Amazing view of sunrise with a background choir of birds Go early to catch the sunrise from the depths of the ocean on the horizon of this beautiful long beach. The beach itself is filled with shells and small rocks but the view is amazing and the water is very calm compared to other beaches, no hard waves , no strong winds or tides, shallow waters suitable for beginners and families. Very calm and less crowded as it's not a party places. Biggest problem here is no restaurants or eateries nearby except for Copa Cabbana which opens at 10:30 am and stays open till night but it's a low end booze joint.

This Beach is one of my favourite spot for picnics. I have enjoyed a lot of my childhood days with parents' family and friends on this Beach which is explored and visited by many a local crowd and also by people from far. The unique part of this Beach is that one can enjoy swimming without the fear of being drowned as this is the only beach which is landlocked from three sides. Also this Beach has no deep spot which endangers life as you can see the same from the pictures attached. This place is still the favourite be it family picnics of friends get-together for a short time. Once visited this Beach has its own uniqueness which draws you again to this place. Not much crowd for a evening quite seat out. Enjoy the view and go back happy. Cheers 🥂

If you are visiting Bogmalo beach then don’t miss this beach as it’s nearby. South Goa’ aother beach is Bogmalo (8 km), next to the Vasco (Dabolim) airport. Just a little away (a left turn on the road takes you to Hollant beach. Near to this beach is Famous 3 kings’ church at Velsao and Velsao Beach. São Jacinto Island is merely at a 10mns drive from Dabolim airport and falls on the way while traveling to North goa from Dabolim airport. It's a very small island with merely 200-300 people living here. There's a church here which I believe opens only for the Sunday mass, followed by a restaurant named Bridge & Tunnel which serves good seafood and also offers Kayaking and boat rides. There's nothing much to do at this island, except the fact that it offers immense peace and serenity, both around sunrise as well as sunset. It is surely worth visiting here from a short while.

This is a beautiful beach with stunning natural surroundings and a peaceful vibe. The journey to reach it can be a bit challenging due to rough roads, but thankfully, jeep services are available and make the trip easier. Once you arrive, the effort is absolutely worth it. The main highlight here is kayaking — a must-try activity that adds excitement to the visit. Whether you're looking to relax by the water or enjoy some adventure, this beach offers a great mix of both. A hidden gem that's perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a bit of fun on the water.

I would recommend this place to anyone who loves the thrill of trekking. I visited this beach for a kayaking experience, but the road to the beach is quite challenging on two-wheelers. After parking at a certain point, you need to walk for about 10–15 minutes to reach the beach — but it’s totally worth it, as the place is extremely beautiful 😍. On one side, you’ll find Cola Beach, and on the other side, the Cola Beach lagoon, which is perfect for kayaking. Do remember to bargain with the kayaking operators, as they usually quote much higher prices. Generally, you can get a kayak ride for two people at around ₹400 if you negotiate well.

The beach itself is quiet and unspoiled, so you can combine kayaking with relaxing on the sand or exploring the lagoon. Highly recommend going during early morning or late afternoon for the best light and peaceful experience.
Aanchal J — Google review
Kayaking at Cola Beach is a unique and fun experience, especially in the lagoon beside the sea. The water is very shallow (only about 1–2 feet deep), so there’s no fear of drowning. Even small children can enjoy safely — even if the kayak tips, you can just stand up and walk out. No need for heavy safety gear, just wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet. Sometimes it feels a bit like go-karting on water, which makes it even more exciting! The calm backwaters are perfect for beginners, and the peaceful surroundings of greenery, the quiet beach, and gentle waters make the ride refreshing and relaxing. Getting to Cola Beach itself is an adventure — the approach roads are muddy and tricky to drive on. You need good driving skills, or you can take local cars provided for a fee, as they are better suited for the rough road. Overall, kayaking at Cola Beach is a must-try for adventure lovers who enjoy nature, tranquility, and a little bit of fun along the way.

Cola Beach is one of the cleanest and most peaceful beaches in Goa! 🌴 The water is crystal clear, the golden sand is spotless, and it’s not too crowded — perfect for a relaxing day. The lagoon beside the beach adds a unique charm, and kayaking there is an amazing experience 🚣‍♂️. Great spot for nature lovers and anyone looking to unwind away from the hustle of the main beaches. Highly recommend visiting!
AMAN R — Google review
Cola Beach is a beautiful and remote beach worth the visit. We were there on a Sunday, and unfortunately, the weather was not great. To arrive there, the path from the main road is rough, and if rainy, big potholes fill up with water making it muddy. If you arrive at the top of the stairs on the south side, you cannot go down to the beach during the high tide. Instead, head back to the Samyama Resort and walk over the bridge crossing the river. You will then walk to the Blue Lagoon resort and arrive at the beach from the north side. The beach was beautiful but relatively busy and with trash floating around. Still, a nice spot that is worth the effort to get there. There is a bar where you can have a drink and enjoy the view, even when raining.
Alejandro N — Google review
Cola Beach offers a truly mesmerizing view surrounded by serene hills — a perfect hidden gem for those who love peace and natural beauty. Kayaking is available here, adding a fun adventure to the calm atmosphere. There are a few small restaurants nearby serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food — the quality is decent and fits well with the vibe of the place. One interesting thing to note is that tourist vehicles are not allowed till the end of the route because the road is extremely narrow and slippery. Local people provide taxi services in their Bolero cars for about ₹100 per person — it’s absolutely worth it, as driving on that stretch is quite challenging due to the hilly terrain. The view of Cola Beach is simply unforgettable — calm, clean, and picture-perfect. Whether you’re with friends, family, or your partner, it’s an ideal place to relax and unwind. There are also a few beautiful resorts nearby if you wish to stay overnight.

There will be an 20min off roading to reach this remote beach, but worth the views. Best beach to visit at sunset, cheap and great scenary for backwater kayaking. The backwaters reached the beach. Such a beautiful view and photo spot. But avoid the beach shacks here, quite costly. Plan to pack your snacks.

The sanctuary features a zoological park, formal gardens, botanical garden, natural trails, nature education center, and an archaeological exhibition. Nice place. You will get the vibe of forests. Greenary is eye soothing. A small zoo is located inside with leopard, bison, crocodile, deer, bear etc. nice place to visit with family.

We had a beautiful weekend friendship day celebration, of 4 families comprising 2 generations & forever memories at the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary and the beautiful Sylvan Eco Cottages. The resort offered an all inclusive package which included trails , zoo entry , yoga and all meals .The jungle trails and the sightings of various birds & spotted deer's were our personal highlights . As far as the resort goes, The rooms were refurbished with large balconies and there was a well laid out and tasty lunch and breakfast meals with local authentic dishes. The staff were all locals and very friendly and approachable. Just a word of caution considering you are in the wildlife sanctuary there may not be connectivity, So leave your work behind and come and refresh yourself and be one with nature our best healer

A really nice zoological park. Amazing walk into woods and as well different species of animals. Good place with family and specially for kids. To reach here drive also amazing. But drive careful and slow.

The wildlife sanctuary was good, clean. Most of the animals are in good condition, except the wolves( coyotes) they were in stress. Too small place for the big pack they keep in small area. We visited at the weekend so it was pretty busy, better come during the week. The price for two people was 100 rupees. There's also fees for the camera 📷 50 rupees. Recommend for visit.

Beach
Dona Paula Beach is a charming bay area in the suburbs of Goa, once a fishing village but now a popular tourist destination with resorts and restaurants. Despite being located in the capital of Goa, it remains an offbeat spot that is mostly frequented by locals who come to relax and admire the sunset. The Dona Paula Viewpoint offers stunning sunset and ocean views, while the beach itself is perfect for seaside enjoyment.
Dona Paula Beach is a great place for couples and photographers, offering peaceful vibes and scenic beauty. However, if you're looking for a lively beach with a wide sandy shore, you might prefer Baga or Palolem. Pros: 1. Scenic Beauty – Offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea, making it a great spot for photography. 2. Peaceful Ambience – Less crowded than popular beaches like Baga and Calangute, making it ideal for relaxation. 3. Dona Paula Viewpoint – A famous attraction with panoramic sea views, especially at sunrise and sunset. 4. Water Sports – Activities like jet skiing, kayaking, and parasailing are available. 5. Historical Significance – Named after Dona Paula de Menezes, the beach has a romantic legend associated with it. Cons: 1. Limited Sand Area – Unlike other Goan beaches, Dona Paula has a rocky shoreline, limiting space for sunbathing. 2. Occasional Cleanliness Issues – Can get dirty due to tourist activity and littering. 3. Commercialization – Nearby stalls and vendors sometimes charge higher prices for souvenirs and refreshments.

A different kind of beach in Goa. It is not a sand beach like other Goan beaches. It is a permanent structure near sea where you can enjoy the beauty of sea. Waves some time rise high to wet which is amazing. Lots of movies were also shoot here. A nice place to spend some time here with you travel Goa

Sam R — Google review
Dona Paula Beach is a small yet charming beach located just a few kilometers from Panaji, Goa. It’s known for its peaceful setting, scenic views, and the famous viewpoint that overlooks the meeting point of the Mandovi and Zuari rivers with the Arabian Sea. Though not very large, the beach has a special local charm. The water is calm, making it suitable for swimming, boating, and other light water sports. You’ll often find small stalls selling local snacks, coconuts, and souvenirs, giving it a lively Goan touch without feeling overcrowded. The Dona Paula viewpoint above the beach offers a stunning panoramic view — especially during sunrise or sunset — making it a favorite spot for photography lovers. You can also spot fishing boats, colorful shacks, and the statue of Dona Paula, which adds a touch of local history and mystery to the place. During weekends and tourist seasons, it can get a bit crowded, but weekdays are peaceful and perfect for quiet relaxation. It’s not as commercial as Miramar or Calangute, which makes it ideal for visitors looking for a calm, local beach experience.

Located around 7kms from Panjim, Dona Paula is one of the most popular tourist hangouts in Goa famous for its vast stretch of beach. The small beach is also popular as the Lover's Paradise and features a jetty (Dona Paula Jetty) adjacent to it, which provides a beautiful view of the Arabian Sea and Mormugao harbour. The Dona Paula is named after then Goa Viceroy's daughter Dona Paula de Menezes in honour of her tragic love story. Dona Paula Beach also is the meeting point of the Zuari and Mandovi Rivers and is beautified by fronds of palm trees breaking the silvery shimmer of the beach sand. The beach is popular for the host of water sports. Dona Paula is also popular as a shooting site. A few of famous Bollywood films have been shot here. Popular names like Singham and Ek Duje ke Liye etc have been shot here.

Home Centre stands out as a vital shopping destination in Goa, especially for tourists seeking convenience. This store is a treasure trove of household essentials, offering everything from groceries and snacks to stationery—all under one roof. Visitors have consistently praised the helpful staff who assist with locating items and even provide free packing materials. The layout is user-friendly, making navigation easy, while ample parking space is available during lunch hours when nearby outlets tend to close.
Given the lack of the usual supermarkets that are now to be found across India and given that this part of Goa attracts a lot of tourists, this is the only shop for quite a big radius where, for example, one can find filter coffee powder. The people at the store were all very helpful and kind - experienced by me on two separate visits. Home Centre has a wide range of products but I look forward to their adding South Indian goods: appalams and pappadums, ready to eat products from Tasty Nibbles and other Kerala companies. However, for the moment, the store fulfils the needs of its customers. My best wishes for its growing to provide more products - perhaps some feedback forms can be given so that specific products can be ordered.

Whether you’re staying in Varca for a short visit or an extended stay, Home Centre Supermarket is a reliable option for quality products and excellent service.

It's a good store with lots of necessary items available. The only issue is some cashiers are not friendly. Not all. Some. On a rainy day u have to remove your raincoat and go in or they show you the door or grumble in front of you throughout. It is difficult to remove the raincoat every time u enter for 2 minutes.

Recently visited Varca Home Centre, which also has a cake shop attached to it called Moginiz. Unfortunately, the store isn’t the same as it used to be. Moginiz now has very limited stock, with only a few items available – and you’re left unsure about their freshness. Overall, the place feels like it’s in urgent need of renovation and proper restocking of daily essentials to bring it back to its earlier standard.

Bad cashier experience at Home Centre Varca. Good place to get most of the daily requirements. However staff is very rude. Especially the cashier women who is very rude and unprofessional and just shouts at the customer if you do not have loose change(10-20 rs) as if she is doing a favour by selling the items or by doing the job Needs some behavioural & professionalism training to speak to customers or else it won't be far to lose many customers.

I purchased a chocolate mousse cake from monginis in home centre on 16 th April and its taste was spoilt taste. Coz of that our birthday celebration went flop. The next day i bought the same cake and gave back to the store. The sales person told me to write a complaint on the the dairy . Now it's been almost 15 days i haven't received any response. And it's been 1week I kept on asking the sales person about the updates and she always says that she will update by tomorrow. But that Tommorow is still not yet come. It's really embarrassing.

Experience the serene and tranquil waters of Goa with kayaking, a perfect way to unwind and take in the stunning scenery. Whether you choose a guided tour or venture out on your own, kayaking allows you to explore the lesser-known backwaters of Goa while getting some exercise and enjoying birdwatching. Some tours even allow pets and offer the opportunity for a refreshing swim. With clear instructions, even beginners can quickly become pros at paddling through the calm seas.
This experience was amazing and I couldn't recommend it enough. The views were beautiful and the setting was so relaxing. We saw lots of birds! It was my first time kayaking but the smooth, peaceful pace made it a beautiful way to see the nature. The people who ran the trip were great and even offered us a homemade samosa and drink after.

Unforgettable. Truly amazing! One of the best experiences in Goa. Mr. Prakash is extremely friendly and gives clear instructions so we knew exactly what we were signing up for including what to wear (I wore flip flops and sports shorts. A cap and suncream is essential!). We took our phones as there is ample opportunity for photographs. They didn’t really get wet and our guide was extremely careful when getting us onto and off the kayaks. Mr. Prakash is a great person to run the trip. He is well spoken and well travelled so a great person to speak with. He clearly kayaks a lot and gave a great safety instruction as well as showing us his local knowledge. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and wants them to have the best experience. On the day he gave great advice and tips. We went on the morning trip which wasn’t too early. Our guide was lovely and helped with spotting birds (he had a great eye). A truly unique and peaceful trip I felt amazing after. Definitely good for your mental health and extremely mindful! It is worth every rupee as a unique experience with someone with great knowledge. We are staying in a resort approximately 15 mins away. Would recommend finding a local taxi driver or rikshaw driver to take you to the location or GoaMiles app as resorts wanted to charge us double the amount. We paid 900 rupees for a round trip with a rikshaw (resort wanted to charge us 1000 for one way!) The trip lasted 1.5-2 hours which was the perfect amount of time. It was not rushed and we saw plenty of different types of birds and mangroves. The scenery is unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. Thank you again!

This is not just a kayak ride, it's an unforgettable experience. I joined first early morning batches in North Goa (Chapora river) and in South Goa (Sal backwaters) through them. Goa Kayaking was an impromptu plan decided on just a simple thought - How good would it be to experience fresh water and salt water in Goa on the same trip! Trust me, this entire experience is one of a kind in Goa. It goes through a small yet serene river behind a busy highway but worry not, you can't even hear even a single horn from the highway. Instead the entire kayaking journey is filled with sounds of the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. Prakash, who has been running this since the very beginning, is your expert guide. He, along with his crew, welcomes everyone and there's a short session on how to kayak. Extremely simple and then you get to it. He's super fun and insightful. Furthermore, they provide you with simple refreshments post the entire experience. The entire kayaking stretch is a beauty that's hidden in plain sight. Would recommend this to be done on literally the very first day of the year and welcome it with a bang!

Had a memorable time kayaking in the Sal backwaters with my wife. Definitely one of the must do activities in Goa. Prakash was very approachable and helped set up the trip amidst some changes a few days before. We were joined by 5 others and the group size was just perfect. Our guide was very friendly and was very helpful in maneuvering us through mangroves and bushes. The kayaking trip was moderate and a worthwhile experience for beginners. The lotus pond was indeed the highlight, found white & pink lotuses. However we could not sight as many birds as we hoped, but nevertheless the entire experience was great.Would highly recommend it to everyone when your planning your Goa trip.

The Kali River originates near Kushavali in the Western Ghats and flows eastwards into the Supa Dam Reservoir. The Kali River has a rich history rooted in its natural beauty and cultural significance. It's known for its dense forests, and its name is thought to relate to the black appearance of its waters during the monsoon season. The river has been a crucial water source for local populations for centuries, used for irrigation and daily life. The Supa Dam, built on the Kali River, is the tallest dam in Karnataka and is significant for water management and hydropower.

The Kali is then joined by the Kaneri River from the right (north) at 15°03′52″N 074°36′17″E, and flows south-southwest into Kodasalli Reservoir. Leaving that reservoir, the Kali River flows west and is joined by the Vuki Halla from the right (north). Whence it flows southwest into the Kadra Reservoir, and is joined by the Thana Halla just below the dam at Kadra.[6] From Kadra, the Kali flows west through marshland to join the Arabian Sea near the town of Karwar. The river flows entirely through the district of Uttara Kannada.

Great unexplored place for a getaway. But be there by 8am to start a trek of 1:30hrs (around 4 km). Better carry some trekking shoes😉. The waterfall is pretty deep not advisable for those who don't know swimming but yea you can enjoy the trekking and view😁

Me and my friend had a really nice Garden tour experience with Manu! He took us on a lovely tour through his garden and we were able to try all of his well selected plants. There was even some magic happening in the end! We definitly recommend this experience! Next time we come back for canyoning when it has water again!

Truly one of a kind experience, we had an amazing day with Max, he was patient and knew when to hold back and when to offer a challenge! Very good if you’re a bit nervous! The canyon was incredible and the drive there was also an amazing part of the adventure. Thank you max, and also if you get to meet Emmanuel (the boss man) that is an added bonus as he is hilarious 🌞🌞🌞 well organised and very professional setup, 5 stars 🤩

I had an amazing time canyoning with Max and Sandy! I already went to the same spot 10 years ago and it has only gotten better since. Both Max and Sandy are brilliant guides, who not only are experts at their craft, but also are fun people to spend a day with. I enjoyed so much I went on two trips in 3 days. Can highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time canyoning with Max and Sander - they were really good company and the canyon itself and the walk to and from the canyon in the jungle was stunning. The abseiling and jumps were great fun and just what we’d hoped for. On the jeep ride back they also took us to a couple of excellent delicious food pitstops. Couldn’t recommend this more highly!

The experience is amazing! It wasn't just an adventure trip filled with adrenaline but also a great insight about the jungle of Goa and it's waterfalls. Manu, The main guy is a pretty nice genuine dude. He likes to talk a lot but what he does talk is logical and sometimes even philosophical :) I would highly recommend this trip...

The drive up the mountains in the vintage open-top Jeep is an experience in itself, and the canyoning even better. Max is the ultimate guide; someone you trust entirely with your safety but also makes the day really fun with extra challenges and a laid back approach. Stopping to introduce us to the best omelette sandwich and street food stalls on the way back was a bonus. Highly recommend.

For those looking for relaxation and indulgence, Betty's boat trip provides an unforgettable experience with flowing drinks and delectable three-course meals prepared right on board.
Betty's boat trip was amazing. From the minute you are away from the mooring the drinks start flowing. Your glass is continually filled. The good is excellent. The fish for the main course is filleted on board the boat. All food is cooked while you are on board and is excellent (3 courses). You even get entertainment. The cost for this 5 hour trip was around £12.00. Unbelievable value for money. I highly recommend this trip.
