Tea house

Raju Tea Stall, also known as Fareed Bhai's tea stall, is a popular spot in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It's always bustling with locals who come to savor the best chai in the city and indulge in delicious vegetarian street foods. The stall is located near the Peer Gate area and is a favorite hangout for friends looking to enjoy a steaming hot cup of Nawabi tea and piping hot snacks while watching the city go by.
The best place for tea and snacks. We had tea and bun masks which simply awesome.
Mohammad K — Google review
I visited Raju Tea Stall in Bhopal, expecting to try the famous Irani chai after hearing a lot about it. However, the location shown on Google Maps is incorrect, as the spot displayed is something else entirely. Once I found the actual stall, I realized they don’t serve Irani chai, just regular tea. The tea was average, but I did enjoy the poha and jalebi, which were quite good. The experience overall was okay, but not amazing. There’s no proper seating here—just tall tables with no chairs, so it’s not very comfortable if you want to sit down and relax. In summary, it’s decent if you want a quick bite, but nothing extraordinary.
Md S — Google review
Visited Raju Tea Stall in Bhopal for a quick bite and absolutely loved the experience! Tried their tea, bun maska, poha with jalebi – all were fresh, tasty, and full of local flavor. The tea was especially refreshing. The place opens early at 6 AM, making it a perfect breakfast spot, and stays open till late night. Great vibes, quick service, and a must-visit if you're in Bhopal looking for authentic street-style breakfast.
Jamwant Y — Google review
If you're a true chai lover, Raju Tea Stall is a hidden gem you simply can't miss! This place is a perfect blend of authentic flavors, warm vibes, and pocket-friendly goodness. Their Chai is absolutely soul-satisfying — strong, aromatic, and brewed to perfection. Apart from tea, their Bun Maska, Bread Pakora, Mungora and Jalebi are absolute must-tries! The crispy texture, fresh ingredients, and homemade taste make every bite delightful. Perfect for monsoon evenings or winter mornings.
Tamanna P — Google review
Raju Tea Stall - opens early morning, and remains busy throughout the day. Poha, Kali Jalebi and bread pakora are great. Tea - absolutely wonderful, in small and large cups. In winters, ladoo with dry fruits is, supposedly healthy. Fast and efficient, service is nice. Cleaning process is difficult due to large footfalls yet is continuous.
Sanjiv S — Google review
Raju Tea stall near the peer gate, Bhopal is a must visit place. Their tea and other snacks are very familiar. Tasty samosa and their highlight is mava jelabi.
Lakshmi S — Google review
This is one of the old and famous tea shops in Bhopal, located near Hamidia Hospital. However, the taste is quite average. You might find the Irani chai served at local outlets to be more flavorful.
Aasim K — Google review
Tried the place once out of curiosity and hype — and one-time experience is okay. Personally, I didn’t enjoy the tea as it was too strong for my taste. The samosa was slightly salty but still decent. What I did enjoy was the mawa jalebi, which had a nice kala jamun-like flavour — quite unique! That said, if you're tired or visiting in hot weather, it can be tough. There’s no proper seating, and the kadai is placed right at the front of the shop, which leaves very little space to stand and enjoy your food comfortably. Overall, worth a one-time visit for the experience — but not something I’d go back for.

Manohar Dairy is a long-standing establishment known for its delectable Indian snacks and savory dishes. What started as a simple milk shop in 1978 has now expanded into a bustling restaurant that can accommodate up to 180 people at any given time. The menu offers an array of Bhopal street food, curries, Chinese-Indian fusion, South Indian cuisine, and an assortment of sweets.
Manohar Dairy and restaurant in Bhopal is a well-known spot for food lovers and lives up to its reputation. Conveniently located not far from the railway station, it’s an easy stop for both locals and travelers. **Ambience and Location:** - The shop is famous not only for its wide array of sweets but also for a variety of savory options. Despite being a traditional sweet shop, Manohar offers a diverse menu that includes pizza, pasta, South Indian cuisine, and much more. **Food Quality:** - The taste of the food is exceptional. I personally tried the South Indian mini thali, grilled sandwich, and chocolate cakes, and each item was top-notch in terms of flavor and quality. **Pricing:** - While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the delicious taste and quality make it worth the splurge. Overall, Manohar Dairy and restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Bhopal, whether you're craving traditional sweets or looking to try a variety of other cuisines. The rich flavors and diverse menu make it a standout spot in the city.
Shrabana T — Google review
Great restaurant, nice open seating area and good vegetarian food. Service is ok when it's not too busy. Looks clean and hygienic and food is well priced. There are some sweets and desserts sold on the other side of the restaurant if you want to take something away.
Gulrez Z — Google review
Manohar Dairy is fully vegetarian, which many customers like. They offer sweets, Indian fast food, snacks, chaat, South & North Indian dishes, bakery items etc. Manohar Dairy, Hamidia Road is a must-visit for veg food lovers in Bhopal. With decades of legacy, they deliver a wide and tasty variety of Indian fast food, snacks and sweets. Clean place, friendly staff, good value for many items. Expect crowds and a bit of wait during busy times. Some items may vary in freshness or portion, but overall it offers a dependable and enjoyable pure vegetarian experience.
Bharat J — Google review
Manohar Restaurant holds a special place in my heart, as I've been visiting with my family since childhood. The taste of the food is simply unparalleled; each dish is prepared with care and bursting with flavor. It's clear that they maintain high standards, ensuring a consistently delightful dining experience. The staff at Manohar Restaurant deserves special recognition. They are always incredibly welcoming, attentive, and go above and beyond to make every visit memorable. Their friendly service adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. Speaking of atmosphere, Manohar Restaurant has created an amazing environment. Whether it's a casual family dinner or a special celebration, the ambiance is perfect. The decor, lighting, and overall setting create a truly wonderful place to enjoy a meal. In my opinion, it is the best restaurant in town.❤️❤️❤️

If you have to describe this restaurant at Bhopal in just one word, I would suggest it would be delicious. So fresh and tasty. It's Manohar Dairy and resturant at Bhopal. You would love too. There is a waiting on weekend.
Reshma S — Google review
I absolutely loved the taste of their chole bhature—I tried both the classic chole bhature and the paneer version. The raj khachori was also incredibly mouth-watering. For sweets, I highly recommend trying their rose milk—it’s a must when visiting Manohar!
Shriyansh P — Google review
Visited Manohar Dairy with good expectations, but overall experience was mixed. The noodles, dosa, and chole chature were genuinely good — fresh and flavorful. However, the rest of the food items were quite bland and lacked taste. For a place with such a big name, the flavors didn’t live up to the hype. Service and ambiance were fine, but the overall food quality was below average, especially in terms of seasoning and taste. Could be much better with some improvement in flavor consistency.

Sagar Gaire is a popular fast food restaurant that serves imaginative Indian dishes and desserts. The counter-serve restaurant is unfussy and turns out delicious dishes at reasonable prices. The best part about Sagar Gaire? The taste is unbeatable, and the price is always reasonable. If you're looking for an amazing Indian meal at a great price, Sagar Gaire is the place to go!
One of the best restaurants in Bhopal, don't forget to try their sandwiches. The kulcha thali is better than most eateries in Delhi. Road side limited parking, good for families and group of friends.
Aditya J — Google review
It was recommended by someone while we were traveling But trust me.. it was worth visiting Live kitchen.. different system here, pay the bill, go to the counter and wait for your dish Enjoy the preparation show Kulcha roasting is awesome Food is all good Taste is superb and quantity is enough Things just go right here so do visit Highly recommended
Vijay S — Google review
I recently visited Sagar Gaire at 7 No. Market, and it was an amazing experience. I've been coming here for the last three years, and this branch never disappoints. The place has a nice, classic vibe and a good seating area, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy your meal. The staff here are really helpful and friendly, which makes the visit even better. They are quick to serve and always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. If you’re visiting, don’t miss out on their veg sandwich—it’s always fresh and delicious. The chole kulche is another must-try, with the perfect mix of spices that hits the spot every time. And their cold coffee is just what you need on a hot day. They’ve also added some new items to the menu recently, so there’s always something new to try. Everything they serve is beautifully presented and tastes great. Overall, Sagar Gaire at 7 No. Market continues to be one of the best food spots in Bhopal. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you’re sure to have a great time and enjoy some fantastic food.

Everything we ordered was so delicious. They have a huge variety of items in their menu from Chinese to shakes to Pastas to North Indian, you just name it. The service is slow because the place is crowded. It may be difficult to find empty chairs. But everything is worth the wait...definitely recommended
Saumya S — Google review
Loved the creative vegan menu! Their tofu stir-fry and avocado smoothie were fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and wholesome. Will definitely come back to try the desserts next time.
Lovnoor K — Google review
This restaurant is well-known in Bhopal, with other outlets nearby. I've been here twice and can attest that the cuisine is great. The usual wait time is 10 to 15 minutes, and it is self service. Weekend parking is difficult for cars, and it can also be difficult for bikes at times. There are no bathrooms, however hand washing facilities are available. There is seating for around 50 persons. The restaurant does not provide free water; one must purchase it in order to quench one's thirst. I've attached the menu for price comparison, which I feel a touch pricey in comparison.

Good taste! Went with my friends on recommendation as we were on a trip to Bhopal!!! Adequate quantity of food served! Taste was good! Recently visited to this restraunt, very Disappointed and pathetic service. No safety measures, same queue for both customer and delivery guy, not clean Food taste is not up to the mark, amritsari kulcha is for name sake, it's not cooked properly chole is taste less. Sandwich is good only. In Pav Bhaji, bhaji is not cooked properly and. Day by day digrade the quality. Price is not worth. To much time for waiting.

During my culinary adventure in Bhopal, I made a stop at Kalyan Singhji Swad Bhandar, renowned for serving the quintessential breakfast dish of the city: Poha and Jalebi. This delightful combination has become synonymous with Bhopal's food culture. The Poha is soft, fluffy, and delicately spiced, creating a perfect balance with the crispiness and sweetness of the syrupy Jalebi. It's an experience that truly captures the essence of local flavors!

North Indian restaurant
Shahnama is a renowned multi-cuisine restaurant located in the luxurious Jehan Numa Palace. Since the 1980s, it has been offering a royal dining experience with Mughlai and Continental cuisine. The restaurant is famous for its lavish buffets featuring Indian, oriental, and continental delicacies, as well as its authentic Mutton Rogan Josh. It's an ideal place for special occasions and also hosts major food festivals in Bhopal.
Recently in visit Shahnama ,Jehanuma Palace for celebration and that truly exceeded all expectations with their exceptional service and delectable cuisine. From the warm and attentive staff to the remarkable flavors that danced on our taste buds, every moment at this palace was a culinary delight. An experience that left us awestruck and eager to return.
Aradhana R — Google review
Enjoyed the service and peaceful ambience. Had heard a lot about this place for its food. But I didnt find anything exceptional in the food. Non veg platter was decent. Mutton Rogan was well cooked and soft, but the gravy was a bit salty. I tried Khameeri Roti for the first time and liked it. Service was very nice. Staff is well trained. I am not sure whether I would visit once again for the food, but yes it is a good place to host your guests.
Joel J — Google review
I love this place so much with its beautiful interiors, peaceful ambience, amazing service and the most polite staff. But this one lady who is always singing during lunch buffets really ruins the experience there for me. I wish they'd hire a better singer or just play classical music/ gazals.
Monica G — Google review
Very nice place for Buffet, although limited options for veg in starters as well as main course. But 10 on 10 to Mr Ramesh, who has been there for quite some time now, kudos to him for courtesy. Last i visited here was 4 years back, wherein the interior and ambience was a big no. But this time it was surprisingly upgraded for good. They offer any kind of bread/ chapaties as per your wish. Will definitely recommend and revisit. No prior booking required for weekdays. Open till 2300hr.
Pranay T — Google review
Excellent fine dining restaurant. Lovely atmosphere as well as rich food in tastes and quality. Not forgetting the excellent service of the waiters. Thank you Seraj and all for the nice and welcoming service❤️❤️❤️🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻
Yasmin B — Google review
Went for Buffet Lunch with family. In my opinion, they have the best buffet in Bhopal, specially for non-veg lovers, it is a paradise. Positives - 1) Taste and flavour.. very authentic and delicious. 2) variety 3) at 2000/- , it is always a bargin with unlimited drinks. (₹1600/- without alcohol) 4) awesome deserts ..you can't get enough of their deserts.. Negative - Their cutlery definitely needs replacement. (As visible in attached photograph)
Shreyansh S — Google review
Great royal ambiance with live music, best for non-vegetarian. Service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and kind. There was option of Buffet Dinner as well as A la carte.
Asmil — Google review
Although the buffet spread was amazing.. however the taste and the quality of food not upto the mark. To star with: 1. Paya shorba taste more like Knorr flavoured soup. 2. Murgh tikka too dry 3. Grilled fish.. seasoning was missing 4. Chicken Rizala taste more like Chicken Saagwala 5. Junglee Maas lacked basic seasoning. 6. Baked yoghurt.. what they dote about too much baked and highly unpalatable 7. Cremé bruleé to overcooked 8. Staff, no doubt courteous, however, smothering too much around the table.. not allowing to converse. All in all I won't recommend Jehan Numa Palace.. I wonder why people speak volumes about this place

Manohar Dairy & Restaurant in MP Nagar is a beloved landmark in Bhopal, standing tall since 1970. It's known for its mouthwatering chaats, lassis, and sweets. The restaurant offers a variety of comfort food dishes including noodles and soups. Locals adore the place for its breakfast favorites like cholle puri and cholle kulcha at reasonable prices. This popular vegetarian restaurant serves delicious North Indian and South Indian food as well as international dishes.
Manohar Dairy, Bhopal – Delicious Stop on My Spiritual Journey While returning from Kumbh to Ujjain Mahakal, I stopped at Manohar Dairy, Bhopal, to refresh myself. Tried their Chole Bhature, Masala Dosa, Pav Bhaji, Papadi chaat, and Cheese Grilled Sandwich. Everything was just perfect. ✨ Chole Bhature – soft bhature with spicy tasty chole. ✨ Masala Dosa – crispy dosa with flavourful potato filling and sambhar. ✨ Pav Bhaji – buttery and rich, served with fresh pav and onions. ✨ Papadi Chaat – crunchy papadi topped with dahi, chutneys, sev, and spices – refreshing and flavourful. ✨ Cheese Grilled Sandwich – loaded with veggies, chutney, and lots of grated cheese. This place is always crowded but their service is fast, staff is polite, and food quality is superb. Felt blessed to eat here during my spiritual trip. Highly recommended if you are passing by Bhopal. 🙏💛
PRADIP M — Google review
Manohar Dairy and Restaurant offers a variety of sweet items and snacks, including popular choices like alu chole chaat, pani puri, gulab jamun, rasgulla sandwich, kulfi, rabdi, and hot boiled milk. The taste of these items is on par with other sweet marts, which is a positive aspect for those who enjoy traditional Indian sweets and snacks. However, the overall experience is overshadowed by the high pricing, which makes it less accessible to middle-class customers (samanya janata). The restaurant justifies its expensive rates by highlighting factors such as air conditioning, cleanliness, lighting, and a large staff. While these amenities contribute to a comfortable dining environment, they also inflate the cost, making it less affordable for the average person. This pricing strategy may alienate a significant portion of the local population who are looking for quality food at reasonable prices. If Manohar Dairy and Restaurant aims to cater to a broader audience, including the common people, it would need to reconsider its pricing strategy. By offering more affordable options without compromising on quality, the restaurant could gain wider popularity and accessibility in the region. Balancing quality with affordability could help them attract a larger customer base and establish a stronger connection with the local community. In conclusion, while the food is tasty and the ambiance is well-maintained, the high prices make it less appealing to middle-class customers. A more inclusive pricing approach could help the restaurant achieve greater success and reach a wider audience. Best wishes to Manohar Dairy managements for serving the community.
Akshay T — Google review
I recently visited Manohar Dairy & Restaurant in MP Nagar, Bhopal, and my experience was overall pleasant, though fairly average. The place combines a local dairy with a casual dining experience, which makes it convenient for both quick purchases and a casual meal. The ambience is simple and unpretentious, with basic seating and a straightforward layout. It feels more functional than stylish, but it serves its purpose well for everyday visits. The menu at the restaurant is decent, featuring a mix of traditional Indian dishes and quick meals. I tried a few breakfast and snack items, and while the flavors were acceptable, they were not particularly outstanding. The dairy items, on the other hand, are fresh and of standard quality – milk, curd, paneer, and sweets are reliable and reasonably priced. Service is friendly but can be a bit slow during busy hours. The staff are polite and willing to help, though they sometimes seem stretched when the place is crowded. Parking and accessibility in MP Nagar are convenient, making it easy for both quick dairy shopping and a casual meal. Overall, Manohar Dairy & Restaurant is a convenient spot for fresh dairy products and a simple, no-frills meal. It meets basic expectations, and while there’s room for improvement in speed of service and food presentation, it remains a reliable choice in the area.

This is one of the most famous mishthan Bhandar in Bhopal. As we all know people of Madhya Pradesh are very fond of sweet, this place always remains crowded. Known for its sweets, we tried their local cuisine and it was beyond fantastic. Happy eating...

Located in busy MP Nagar area, this place offers you a place to eat and also to pick up namkeens, savouries or sweets to take home. Menu is all vegetarian and a combination of North Indian,South Indian snacks along with Chaat items is available. Staff is friendly and very courteous. Place is clean and service is quick. We tried chole bhature, chole tikki, sweet lassi and fresh lime soda. Bhature were of medium size but good fill. They were not at all oily which makes them special. Chole tikki had sprinkle of potato chiwda which was good.

If you find yourself wandering the vibrant streets of Bhopal, make sure to stop by Jameel Hotel in Ibrahimpura. This bustling eatery is nestled in a lively market area filled with bakeries and offers an array of mouth-watering dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings after a day of exploring.
They provide excellent food at an affordable price. You can get many kind of mon veg items here like chicken items like chicken tikka, chicken lollipop etc., mutton or fish items etc. The food tastes too good. Based on taste of food I'll give it 10 out of 10. But since it gets too much customers compared to its size, so it gets sometimes too crowded then they make you sit with strangers. So based on that I'll rate it 4 out of 10. But overall the restaurant is very good. 8 out of 10.

The taste of the their food is deteriorated over the period of time as it's not the same Jameel which used to be back in 2010s as the quality of the food served is not good the other day I had ordered for a sheermal and I was given a bread it was a disappointment for me as the person thought I don't know what is a sheermal just because I was an outsider trust me there are better eateries than this go over there not here.

My dining experience at Jameela Hotel in Bhopal was a culinary delight. The food was exceptional, offering a burst of flavors that surpassed expectations. However, the congested area surrounding the hotel might be a drawback for some. If you're willing to overlook the crowded surroundings, Jameela Hotel is a go-to spot for those seeking delicious cuisine in Bhopal.

Disappointed! They will make every gravy in karahi style. We ordered chicken Tikka curry and mutton korma both were made instantly and not upto the mark at all. No options on roti as well, only tandoori was available. Service was ok though. If you are looking for authentic bhopali korma do not prefer this.
Aamir S — Google review
It's one of the well known places of Bhopal. Here you can have almost all types of sweet dishes and samosa was worth eating and tea was also good but no proper parking place The environment was too crowded too.

Punjabi Chole Bhature is a great place to get chhole bhature in New Market. The owner is very friendly and the cost of the meal is very low. The quality of the food is also good, with tasty chole and a soft bhature. There's also chutney, onion and pickles on the side which add to the flavour.

"Mamaji jalebi wale" is a popular snack spot in Bhopal known for its delicious offerings. The menu includes a variety of South Indian and Chinese dishes, as well as festive sweets and Indian fried munchies. Visitors can enjoy tasty Poha and crispy jalebi with fresh samosas, accompanied by two types of chutneys. The place is small but offers good quality food at affordable prices.
Delicious Poha and jalebi with fresh samosas every morning. The food is tasty but average in quantity. The jalebi are crispy and well done, and two type of chutneys with samosa. Place to park and eat, but there is an option to go in if you want to. Very affordable too.

Pathetic Experience at Mama Jalebi, Lalghati Complete waste of money and time! The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional, and They clearly don’t care about service or customer satisfaction. The prices are absolutely ridiculous – imagine being charged ₹50 for such a tiny plate of chole (hardly enough for even one person). The taste is below average, nothing special at all, and definitely not worth the money they ask for. Overall, the place is overpriced, unhygienic, and the behavior of staff makes the experience even worse. There are far better options nearby where at least customers get respect along with decent food. Not recommended at all.

One of the best snacks shop in this area Lalghati near gufa mandir and one of the oldest group in bhopal very world famous mama jalebi . My favourite Poha Jalebi and Dahi Samosa . Very delicious 😋😋
Raj P — Google review
This is my very genuine review. I had a very bad experience at Mama Jalebi, Lalghati. Their behaviour with customers is very rude and there is no proper service – everything is self-service. The worst thing is their samosa; they use leftover masala from the previous night and serve it in the morning, which is very unhygienic. The food quality is extremely poor. If you ask for extra chutney, they refuse. Overall, the taste of all their items is very bad. I will never recommend this place to anyone.”

Best place for snacks in Bhopal, they maintain their quality i had kulhad lassi ,jalebi, chole samosa, dahi chaat everything was upto mark..so delicious and fresh item’s served specially On Sunday you ll see only place open in this area in early morning
Mohit S — Google review
Small place but taste is what matters when you're into food. So whatever you ate you will find it nice enough and with a decent pricing. so overall I really like this place, but that's just my personal opinion and taste which may vary person to person..
Asmil — Google review
The chat available here is too good. You can also have breakfast in the morning. Besides there is a range of south indian and chinese food available. In festive season sweets are also available. Indian fried munchies namkeen is also available. They have good quality food

If you're on the lookout for a delightful breakfast experience, look no further than Sai Nath Poha Jalebi. This charming eatery serves up a classic dish of poha, which features flattened rice combined with crunchy peanuts and an array of spices that create a flavorful start to your day. To complement this savory treat, they offer jalebi—a sweet and crispy dessert made from flour, sugar, and ghee that adds the perfect touch of sweetness to your meal.
Very nice breakfast

During my culinary adventure, I made a stop at Sharma Chaat Shop, where the vibrant world of chaats awaited me. The Dahi Phulki and Chole Tikiya were absolute highlights, crafted with care using house-made ingredients like zesty green and sweet chutneys, fresh curd, and aromatic spices. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors that truly elevated these beloved snacks.
Best of all
