1The Blackpool Tower

The Blackpool Tower is an iconic Victorian structure that has been a central part of the seaside resort's history. Alongside other notable buildings like the Winter Gardens and Pleasure Beach, it has contributed to Blackpool's popularity as a holiday destination. The Tower features attractions such as the Tower Ballroom, Circus, and the thrilling SKYWALK offering panoramic views of the North West of England.
So much better than I thought. The 4D cinema was great. Staff were lovely! All explaining and answering any questions we had. We're a big group of 14 but it was never an issue. The views were great. Wish id set aside more time for here!
Kelly O — Google review
Fantastic experience all round. Loved the 4D experience and reading the history behind it, as you walk to the 4D and lift to go up. All staff were more than friendly and the views were phenomenal 😊 only bad thing was that the engineers were late to test the lift and we couldn't go at our normal time, as it needed work doing to it. We then had to rebook. We were only here for the night so had many more things booked but thankfully, they had a slot much later in the day.
Lyndsey R — Google review
I last went up the Tower sixty years ago this month, so it was a very emotional and poignant treat. I LOVED the viewing platform, last experienced on the Skywalk at the Grand Canyon near Las Vegas on our honeymoon. Great photo opportunities at the top of the tower, but I was sorry I didn't have time to read the boards depicting the fascinating history of the Tower. Loved the quirky beachhut themed loos!
Karen W — Google review
Fun days out here over the weekend. The multi attraction ticket is great value and you can easily spend 2-3 days enjoying the tower and sights. The weather wasn't great so we sheltered in the Ballroom for a couple of hours and it's a very comfortable, pleasant way to chill and pass time, watching the dancers and enjoying the atmosphere. The circus was as great as ever and the kids really enjoyed it, the water finale seems to be a bit lackluster compared to times gone by though sadly. - make sure you queue up at least 45 mins before your timeslot to get a good seat. The tower eye had great views and helpful staff on the elevator - but it took us nearly an hour to get up there in the queue which was a bit of a drag. The dungeon was brilliant, wonderful actors and amazing atmosphere - really enjoyed this attraction and the people running it should be proud.
Adam T — Google review
Had a great time at Blackpool Tower! We did the 4D cinema and then the Skywalk — the views were absolutely amazing. The staff were really nice too. Honestly, it’s a must-try experience at least once. Standing that high up and looking out over the city was incredible. I’d definitely recommend it! Tip: book your tickets online to save time and make the whole visit smoother
Warda B — Google review
I've not been up Blackpool tower in years, so I took my 2 youngest to sample the tower 😂 All the levels at the top were open so we were able to get as high as possible. I wouldn't have minded a look from the crows tower, but that's not allowed 😂 It's a simple experience, but great to jump on the glass floor looking down 😂 then you can navigate the spiral staircases up to the open tops 👌 Great views and an experience. Not too costly, but a definite attraction to visit when at Blackpool! We did Dino mini golf afterwards, again cheap, only 9 holes, but worth a go. Thanks Blackpool! 😊👍
Steven L — Google review
Very smooth process when you purchase tickets in advance, upon arrival our tickets were scanned. 4D experience was great really enjoyed something different. Absolutely loved our trip up the tower fantastic views of Blackpool and famous landmarks. Would recommend.
John G — Google review
Fantastic attraction. Loved the views from the top and the glass floor area. Bar at the top was great too. Simple selection of drinks but a nice touch to have a pint at the top of the tower. Before you get to the top you get a photo taken bit on the pricey side bit still a nice memory. The 4d experience was really good and would recomend placing yourself somewhere near the middle to get the full experience. Lifts were what you would expect from an attraction over 100 years old. Slow... But it's worth it when you get to the top. They should offer a better option to view the whole of the tower experience. The ball room was closed for a private event when we visited. Great place to visit for the whole family.

Winter Gardens Blackpool is a historic building dating back to 1878, featuring various venues for shows and events, as well as bars, a restaurant, and cafe. It holds significant importance in Blackpool's heritage and is considered one of the key structures alongside the Tower and Grand Theatre. The Winter Gardens has been recognized for its architectural and historic significance, contributing to the town's appeal to both residents and visitors.
I’ve been to a fair few events and shows here over the years. And been involved in the stage shows since a little girl! Nostalgia and lots of happy childhood memories. Enjoy attending the theatre shows. A few highlights over the years I have left in the photos! ❤️♥️🌺

Did the Venue Tour on Wednesday. Guide was so informative and engaged. Really enjoyed seeing round the complex and hearing about its history. We finished the tour with optional Afternoon Tea which was really nice. Would highly recommend this tour.
David K — Google review
Once you are inside this is a great venue, full of history. Great views of the entertainment and comfortable seating. The exterior could do with a lick of paint but the real letdown is the surrounding area (not the fault of the venue of course!), not a nice location to walk through to get there but don't let that put you off!
Steve R — Google review
Great night watching The INSPIRAL CARPETS and OCEAN COLOUR SCENE classic songs 🎸🎤🎶

I was there for line dancing. It was amazing. Great floor, great music. It's a beautiful venue. They only draw back was in the bar it was card only.
Lilian B — Google review
Lovely old venue but just some notes. Watched BGT auditions and we were sat in the circle - no view of the Judges or Judges table from row G where we were seated unless we stood up. The sound from all microphones was particularly muffled/low. Only 5 ladies toilets 100s of seats so always at least a 10 mins wait at a time, plus there are 5 steps inside the ladies toilets to go up before reaching the toilet stalls.

Up for The British County Music Festival. Great acts, great music.
Peter W — Google review
Although they have an accessable lift from the hounds hill entrance. The door is always locked making it inaccessible. I have completed to the council several times about this issue and it is never addressed just excuses. Although you can gain accessable access by waking around the building there is no information available to the casual visitor. It also makes access difficult considering that they have lift access available, but it can't be accepted because the council don't care about their legal obligations under the equality act of 2010. And just make excuses

This family-friendly hotel is known for its bustling entertainment schedule, featuring nightly live performances such as puppeteers, magicians, and musicians that appeal to all generations. Just come back from a great holiday at the Doric. It was our first time and we will go back. Thanks to bar staff Tiffany and Luke. Service above and beyond. All the staff were great and attentive. The lounge was beautifully presented and although the rooms were clean they could do with an update. All in all a great stay and thanks to all at the Doric. See you again soon.

I would 100% recommend this hotel. We had a slight problem with the radiator. So the manager of the hotel-Dylan went up and beyond to fix this. He upgraded our room and gave us choices. He is a fantastic manager and made our stay very memorable. It’s very clean, the staff from the lovely Manager Dylan to the cleaners, bar staff, food hostesses were very pleasant and helpful. The entertainment for children was brilliant and gave us a little break knowing they was safe in an entertainment room with other children who really enjoyed themselves to the adult entertainment with was also fantastic. Thank you to everyone, you made our stay very comfortable and if ever I go to Blackpool again I will definitely be going to the Doric hotel. 10 out of 10 guys.

Took my 3 grandsons for 2 nights. They absolutely had a great time. The staff were very helpful and could not do enough to make our stay fabulous. We loved The swimming pools and the evening entertainment. Breakfast was great and we even played and had our evening meal. Would highly recommend

Had an amazing stay at the hotel – super comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Massive shout-out to Luke behind the bar – he was brilliant! So friendly and such a great laugh every night, really made the evenings fun. The whole place has a relaxed vibe, with entertainment every night for both adults and kids. The only thing was how hot the rooms were – not the easiest to sleep in at times – but the hotel did provide a fan which helped. Still, it didn’t take away from a really enjoyable stay.

If you're looking for a cheap, cold damp musty smelling hotel, keep scrolling because this hotel is NOT it. Cannot rate this hotel enough. Warm welcoming staff, shout out to Dillon Beautifully decorated rooms. Entertainment area is lovely Entertainers, well what can I say, shake shimmer and go on Friday night, Ben Bellushi on Saturday night, all I can say is WOW. Absolutely brilliant The food is amazing. I could be here all night writing all about this hotel. Don't believe me? Go check it out yourself. You WONT be disappointed.

Lovely room, poor mattress, spotlessly clean hotel. Friendly and efficient staff, particularly Dawn the waitress,a mistress of her craft. Catering sponsored by weightwatchers lost 1/4 stone in four days, excessively loud entertainment. But it's a lovely hotel and overall good value, one of the better ones in Blackpool.
Clive C — Google review
Great hotel, will be back. The staff are fabulous, especially Louise, who was so lovely and looked after the gluten-free travellers with a smile. Bar staff were very busy but always friendly. The hotel has very limited onsite parking, but a pay and display carpark opposite only costs £14 for the weekend (Fri to Sun) Only negative feedback would be the creaky floorboards everywhere, and the excessive heating - it was way too warm - jumpers were not required!
Ginny B — Google review
Just home from celebrating my parents 60th anniversary. We was originally booked at an other hotel but they cancelled last minute. However this turned out to be a blessing as the Doric was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for us . The entertainment was brilliant. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it . Have to mention the wonderful Jade who waited on us . She is an absolute diamond! So friendly and is without doubt a huge asset to the Doric ! Will definitely return again Thankyou all Deborah from Liverpool

This award-winning establishment boasts en suite bedrooms equipped with modern amenities like iPod docks, ensuring a comfortable stay. We stayed here for an impromptu break to see the illuminations. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean, it had two comfy big beds big enough to fit my family of four. There was a TV , tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer etc. the breakfast in the morning was delicious and the hosts were very accommodating to my two young children. The b and b is close enough to the illuminations and sights but far enough to be quiet . Would recommend and definitely love to go back!

Unreal little find! North Crest is an absolute gem in Blackpool. The hosts are amazing, both made us all feel welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was incredible!! Kathie and Pete have clearly worked so hard, they absolutely deserve 10 stars let alone 5. The rooms are immaculate and lots of little touches that made the stay even better such as hair dryers in the room and lampshades with fitted chargers. Thank you so much! We will definitely back.

The rooms were great, well equipped, tidy, clean, and even a complimentary KitKat! The breakfast in the morning is brilliant, with other options on the breakfast bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Blackpool! The hosts were amazing and made us all feel welcome.

Nice clean b&b. The room was spotless, the breakfast was great. ( probably the best I've ever had) Pete and Kathie are great hosts and Ollie was lovely. Without a single doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The owners are amazing, (Graham looks like David Jason - Bonus!) The rooms are completely immaculate , beds are super comfortable snd Breakfast sets you up for the whole day. Will never use another hotel in Blackpool. We ended up booking another night. After staying at the metropole hotel last time we visited Blackpool, we were nervous to book an independent hotel. But NumberOne has completely changed our minds. On arriving the staff were very friendly and attentive, explained everything in the room and were just generally great to chat to! The rooms were great! Very clean, tidy and had more than enough amenities, jacuzzi bath, great shower, the beds are VERY comfy. Breakfast in the mornings has been delicious too, a good selection to choose from, all fresh and tasty. Honestly cant think of a bad thing to say about this place. I highly recommend it and it’s been a lovely bank holiday weekend here! Parking is first come first serve with limited availability directly outside the hotel but theres plenty of on street parking just outside. All in all a great place to stay and we would highly recommend!

Just home from another fantastic holiday at The Ruskins a spotless and well maintained Hotel. Staff are brilliant and really go the extra mile for you. Food was delicious with a great choice every day. Entertainment as usually was excellent. Booked to go back next year.

Went with low expectations, based on trips to Blackpool many years ago. Delighted to say I was completely wrong about the hotel (perhaps not the town). The place is sparkling clean and looks newly refurbished. Staff were all great and it's hard to think of any kind of constructive criticism. We had 3 rooms, and everyone was very impressed by them and the hotel in general. The area was quiet, parking is a bit of a pain, but that's the same all over there. Well worth the money for us.
Smcc1967 — Google review
Writing this whilst at the Ruskin hotel, our first visits and won't be our last, the place is absolutely spotless from the minute you walk through the door to your room, staff are so professional and polite, nothing is a problem, the only tiny issue we had was having to keep asking for teabags for the room as none in our tea tray ( no big issue) staff at reception more than happy to hand them out. Plenty choice at breakfast, dinners also nice, can eat at your leisure without feeling rushed. The owners should be very proud of their staff for the great standard of service provided. Look forward to a return visit. Well done everyone, keep up the great work.

Stayed from 6th to 11th August for The Rebellion Festival. A great hotel. Staff were very helpful, very caring, enjoyed some banter with us. Room was great, comfy bed, kept very clean and tidy. I can not thank all at The Ruskin enough for a great stay. We have booked already at The Ruskin for 2026. Neil Burgess.

Had afternoon tea here and it was adequate. Upon entry, I asked if my small friendly dog was welcome and they said yes - so found a quiet tucked away corner. She slept the whole time. After about 3 hours of eating and drinking (manager served me many times) was told dog wasn't allowed. Spent probably better part of £100 before the bar manager made me feel unwelcome. People had been waiting 1hr, 2hrs for food - the service was absolutely rubbish. Manager was on his high horse, no apologies, was dumping plates down - customers were shocked. Asked for a hot chocolate and he couldnt do one so said tea and got a cappuccino. 10 mins later someone else had a hot chocolate??? Owner needs to have a word with the manager, arrogant, rude and unapologetic. Tables around me were complaining like mad but he didnt care, no apology, nothing. Never going back here.

Check in very welcoming, parking at the back and the reception staff were there to greet me, park me up and lead me into the hotel. Inside is spotless, relaxed in my room after the cursory checks, spotless. And had a comfy nights sleep, with no unexpected guests (bed bugs). Bar area at reception is a bit depressing, not cheap either. Breakfast was 9 out of 10, linen covered tables, great staff, modern traditional style, food cooked really well. On leaving they led me out of a rear exit, straight to my car., and I left as a very happy customer. For the best price available, phone the hotel direct. I got a double bedroom for the price of a Single, obviously depends on how busy they are. Summery, would I go again? Definitely. Thank you Lawton Hotel ****

Pros: This hotel is value priced. It is located a short walk from Winter Gardens so if you’re here for ballroom it’s a great location. The staff is helpful, kind, polite and accommodating. The breakfast is complimentary and good. The linens are clean. The beds aren’t uncomfortable. There’s a blow dryer in the room. Cons: Sundries (shampoo/soap/conditioner) aren’t provided. We did ask and they gave us a small hand soap and then the manager went above and beyond by providing shower wash from their flat. They don’t have charging stations for USB devices but they did have one available at the front desk when we asked. The rooms are old and somewhat run down. Clean but not maintained/deep clean. No AC in the room. Summary: If you’re looking for a five star resort with full amenities this isn’t the place for you but if you want a value priced location with stellar service and don’t mind a bit of rustic atmosphere this is a great choice. The hotel is quiet but there’s quite a bit of outside noise from cars and birds - stupid birds 😂.

We had lovely time at the Lawton it was clean and tidy the staff we're friendly although one of the bar stewards was rather blunt about drinking outside we didn't realise that there was a time on how late we could drink outside but other than that we had a pleasant time. breakfast was well organised please be aware that's all they serve at the Lawton but plenty of choices close to the hotel we enjoyed it and have rebooked for next year

Just returned home after a 3 night stay at The Lawton, great hotel and parking a few minutes away, town is less than a 10 minute walk and plenty to do in Blackpool. Breakfast was great with choices of tea/coffee and toast, cereals and a hot breakfast, and bar in hotel, theres also a lift and rooms was ideal with a good nights sleep.Staff was absolutely brilliant, always there to help out and they went above and beyond, big shout out to David, Julie and Martin. Appreciate everything you have done for us. Tracey, John, Gary and Katherine - Sheffield *****

A sunny April afternoon, the 'green'- Lawton Hotel is giving off a positive vibe. Nicely presented outside terrace area and a clean open feel on entering. The receptionist is attentive, organised and efficient, giving me all the details I need including car parking information. The room is compact but there are signs of low maintenance routines. Heavily scuffed skirting and walls, stains on the carpet, holes in the tiled ceiling and bathroom. Grouting and peeling off silicon are prominent. Weirdly, hot and cold taps are reversed in the hand basin, not good practice. The shower does have an extractor fan fitting in the ceiling but this doesn't work. The shower rail was very loose and coming off the wall with remnants of an old broken soap dish which had been snapped off and thrown away, leaving a double sided sharp plastic shard. The 'monitor sized freeview tv does work with all channels available. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in room, but the kettle has not been descaled since new and deposits remain in the bottom, hairs on the shower tiles (pet hate) and previous guest's used soap still sits in the shower. Of course on taking a shower and realising I had neither a hand nor a bath towel did not amuse me either. There is a bar and lounge at reception with a fair range of drinks available. A lift services all floors. Entrance is restricted and you need to use your room card to access which is a positive point. Breakfast was good. Food quality was good with staff serving you up to seven items (upgrade available). Cereals, tea and coffee, juices etc on hand. Vegan options can be ordered in advance but only white toast available. On the whole, nice breakfast and great staff who treat you as a regular, respectful and efficient. In summary, a great situated hotel in the Central area, parking available, quiet with room for simple improvements and good value for money.

4th time staying here. Great hotel. Fabulous location near the town. Rooms are basic but they have everything you need. Martin the manager is great. He's really helpful. Well stocked bar. Can't comment on the Brea as I'm never up early enough to enjoy it.
Vanessa P — Google review
The room was an ok size but the bathroom was very small which made it difficult to use comfortably. The toilet didn’t flush every try, it would take about 5 attempts. The hotel doesn’t give refunds if you need to amend your stay within 28 days of arrival so I changed my booking from 2 nights to 1 and didn’t get any refund back. £219 for 1 nights stay was too much for what they offer. The carpet in my room had a hole in it, the tv remote didn’t work and the bed was very creaky. The positives were it’s in a great location, big carpark nearby and the breakfast was amazing. It was buffet cooked food and cereals, only thing that would have made it better would be fruit, I really wanted a banana with my breakfast but they don’t offer fruit. I wouldn’t stay again due to the price and the bathroom.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Blackpool, the Ashley Victoria Hotel offers a delightful blend of comfort and convenience. This luxurious establishment features relaxed rooms and suites, some boasting stunning sea views. Guests can enjoy modern amenities such as en-suite bathrooms, PlayStation 3 consoles, and heated towel rails. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the seafront and local attractions like Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
First of all, I would like to thank the lovely staff at this hotel who made our night away perfect. On arrival, the staff was so helpful and engaging with my two children. The hotel is recently taken over so is under going some renovations. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location is perfect very central and in a family area. The barman was very chatty and helpful also with some information about the surrounding area. My two children enjoyed the games room, as I've said it is basic but undergoing TLC and I believe this is going to be such a fabulous hotel. As it has so much potential. We will definitely be coming to stay here again. Thankyou so much for a wonderful night!

The only positive was the location. Booking.com is extremely misleading with this hotel and should be held accountable for any bad experience at this hotel. Firstly, booking.com tells us that it’s £7.50 for overnight parking at the premises but upon arrival was charged £10, the host was friendly but ultimately couldn’t really speak much English so it was hard to communicate. Secondly, we stayed in room 001, the toilet seat was broken to the point where it was almost impossible to sit down, nevertheless it was filthy. The sink had dirt and phlegm stains in it and the silicone around the shower was mouldy which can cause serious health issues. Not acceptable. Finally, the bedding smelt like cigarettes smoke with the bed and pillows also being extremely uncomfortable. This hotel should not be rated 4 star on booking.com, more like a 2 at best. They also advertise a fully licensed bar which is false advertising! They even advertise it in the bedrooms, this was quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE EVER!

Me and my son needed a room for the night so we could experience the Pleasure Beach. This was a great choice, just a 10 minute walk away. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also clean with clean towels and soaps provided. We enjoyed a full English breakfast the following morning and were set for the day ahead. The staff were very kind and accommodating. We couldn’t make the check in time so we left our bags with them and they organised to leave a key in the lock box which we could pick up that night. Would definitely use again. Thank you ☺️

When we arrived at the hotel we got a very friendly welcome! There is on street parking, & the owner directed us to the best place. Our room was lovely & clean, with comfy beds, & we were very satisfied. When we needed more tea & coffee for the room, there was no problem & it was provided straight away! We will definitely be back here, we had a very relaxing weekend!
Claire G — Google review
The person on reception was really friendly and the hotel is in a good location, but unfortunately the room itself was quite dirty (mouldy shower, lots of dead flies on the bathroom wall, chewing gum on the window, brown stains on the white bedding, dirty shelf and the cups had been put upside down so we didn’t fancy using them…) so we definitely won’t be staying there next time. Going by other reviews I think we just had bad luck on our visit, but it’s still put me off going back.

I arrived on Thursday 14th August 2025. I pulled up on to the drive and was expecting free parking and the amount of rubbish that is scattered round the building is not what I was expected regarding that it’s supposed to be a 4* establishment. I was met by a gentleman informing me that it was £10 a night to park and it has to be cash! We were able to check in and take our bags to the room. I got into my room and it was actually quite decent. Apart from, you could see that dirt had run down the wall, the carpet could do with a vacuum. The bathroom, on the hand basin the taps were the wrong way round in terms of you are expecting cold water to come out but got hot water. After my first impressions I didn’t use any of the wardrobes or cupboards just in case I found something I didn’t want to see. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again but is in a good location for Blackpool and Tourist attractions
Russell H — Google review
Easy check in just for 1 night. Location more near pleasure beach than Tower. Triple room 126 which was basic but clean with nice bedding and good towels. Tea and coffee plus 2 btles water. Our room was 2 star at the most but the other rooms do appear to be nicer probably for longer stay guests. Bit of tlc needed but for the price definetly cannot complain. Shower fine but didn't drain very quick. No fridge No hairdryer
Catherine M — Google review
The only positive about this hotel was the location. Everything else was unacceptable and completely misrepresented on Booking.com. Our “upgraded sea-view room” was filthy: mould in the bathroom, hair on the walls, dirty sheets, bodily fluids on furniture, broken drawers, and even a used sanitary product stuck to the ceiling. My daughter also discovered droppings in her bed. Dirty skirting boards and beds covered in nuts and shell. The skybox was hanging off the wall being held up by staples. Reception was uncontactable, the parking arrangements were misleading and charged at £10 per night, and the property overall was unsafe and neglected. We had no choice but to stay one night due to limited availability, but immediately booked elsewhere for the rest of our trip. This property is falsely advertised as a 4-star hotel and poses serious hygiene and safety concerns. It should be inspected, stripped of its rating, and removed from Booking.com’s listings. And a stones throw from the tram line heading into main attractions(10 min walk). Breakfast a big surprise, vegetarian options as well as the usual meat versions. Excellently cooked and presented. Bed was super comfy too!

Typical Blackpool B&B. Room we had was quite small, the usual 1980's brown doors and dated bathroom suite, overall though pretty nice and what I expected. VERY quiet hotel which was a big plus for me, Comfortable beds, smart TV and pleasant owner, would stay again

Spent the weekend at Rossall House what a beautiful place it is, the decor, the cleanliness, the food but most of all the hosts. Andy, jo and Grace were so friendly nothing was too much trouble, Jo remember what you had for breakfast from the day before and ensured you had plenty to eat. The choices for breakfast covered everything from cereal to toast to a full English, never ending hot and cold drinks. The rooms were decorated to a very high standard and the attention to detail was amazing. The rooms had facilities to make yourself a hot drinks and also if you wanted anything from the bar Jo and Andy would bring it up to your room. We were central to all that Blackpool offers and saw the light switch on. We will definitely be going back Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts 💕

An amazing B&B, the rooms are spotlessly clean, warm and friendly hosts who are eager to please and the hotel is in an ideal location with a tram stop just a few yards a way. The breakfast was great and they even made us some bacon sandwiches as we had to leave early on Monday before breakfast time. Hotel is very clean with lovely staff and room we had was family room with en-suite. Only issues we had was we were unaware of extra £10 charge for dogs as was not advised on booking.com also dogs are not permitted I the breakfast room which meant we had to lock him in our car which may not be suitable for those without there own transport. Apart from that was ok but think dog rules should be clearly explained on booking website.

We visited mid week, stayed at this lovely B&B as it is dog friendly. Our room was lovely, nice and clean with a very nice bed. Room had teas and coffees and biscuits. It also had a heater and fan depending on the temp. We were surprised to have a fridge too. Our room was very quiet, there were quite a few guests staying but we wouldn't of known. Shower was fine, good pressure and a lovely temperature. Parking is out the front with overflow at the rear. It is very close to the tram stops and about 10 mins into Blackpool. Breakfast was cooked to order and they offer a vegetarian option too. There is also cereals and pastries available. Great B&B and would happily use again, owners were very friendly and welcoming.

Everything about our two days at this hotel was lovely, five stars! Annette, the owner, was accommodating, warm, and welcoming from the very beginning. We arrived by train a little earlier than our scheduled check-in time, but that was not a problem at all and we enjoyed a rest in the large comfortable bed before setting off on day one. The room was clean, felt like home, was warm and had beautiful lighting coming in a large window. My favorite part was the breakfast! Annette allowed us to leave our luggage in a safe location after checking out, in order to collect later in the day before heading home. We used the refrigerator as well for leftovers during our stay.

Spent several nights in a row at the Avenue and it was a wonderful time. The hosts were friendly, chatty and welcoming. The rooms were immaculately clean, absolutely no qualms with the size and the amenities were ideal, especially the large standing fan to help keep us cool! Had a couple of issues with water pressure in the shower on one day, but being on the third floor and showering during a "peak time", it's probably to be expected - shower was fine the other 90% of the time! The breakfasts were delicious - I can particularly recommend the Scotch Pancakes with Maple Syrup - with plenty of complimentary additions to your selected meal available. Access to the premises was seamless and secure, with parking right on the doorstep. Not that you'll need to drive, as many of Blackpool's big attractions are within walking distance! Thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Avenue, and highly recommend you book your stay here if you plan on visiting Blackpool!

Just back from a lovely stay at the avenue. Absolutely amazing little hotel. By far the cleanest we've ever stopped in. Lovely modern decor, well finished. Facilities in the room were great, tea/coffee, hair drier, TV, safe and even a fan. En suite with shower, again very modern and plenty of hot water. The hosts, Ian and Tracy are fantastic. Very welcoming and happy to help, even recommended places to eat nearby. The breakfast is superb, lots of choice. Would highly recommend the cooked breakfast, the best sausages I've ever had in a B&B. There was also a booster seat available for our 2 year old son to use at the breakfast table and he certainly enjoyed his breakfast each day. 10/10 we will definitely be staying here next time we're in Blackpool. Thanks again for a brilliant stay. Matthew, Leanne and Joseph.

I come every year to Blackpool Magic convention and I have stayed at various hotels near the Winter Gardens. I can honestly say staying at the boomerang has been my favourite experience so far! Vicky, the landlady, is a wonderful genuine person who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Whilst the room I stayed in was very basic, it had everything I needed. And, even though it is situated near town, the room was lovely and quiet and a perfect place to put my head down and get some rest. The bed was also super comfy! Really helpful to have a mini fridge in my room and the only thing it was lacking for me was a bedside table lamp. Thank you, Vicky for making my stay a pleasant one. And a huge thank you for bringing me a bottle of water when I had a hangover from hell and couldn’t get out of bed with a migraine. You saved me.! See you next year 😀

Me and my partner stayed here a few weeks back and all I can say is Rory and Viki were top notch hosts very welcoming and a brilliant couple of hosts room was clean amd very warm as it was still a little chilly and location was spot on for where we wanted to be definitely will be popping back in for another stay thankyou again for your warmth and a bloody good laugh 😃 Xx

Had an amazing stay at the Boomerang and Viki and Rory were the star on top! Staying here was like a home away from home! Nice room, nice bar area and lovely Hosts! We came here for an event at the Wintergardens and were pleased to find it was right next door! Prime spot to stay!

Omg!!! One of the best hotels I have ever stopped in. So polite, fantastic atmosphere. Honestly this is the second time I have been and never fails to bring happiness to my holiday. Love you all and thanks for putting up with us! Recommend to everyone, couldn’t get any better ❤️
Ellesse F — Google review
We visited Boomerang Hotel, and we genuinely couldn’t wait for our night away, we read all the reviews, looked at all the photos online, and this is what we were faced with. Vicky seemed very nice and helpful, and it’s nothing against her, her hospitality of extras like vodka jellies and rum chocolate is definitely what helped her even gain one star. We had a fab weekend, as long as we laugh about where we stayed. It had lots of damp/water patches, smelt terrible, so much so we had to keep the windows wide open, and spray perfume, we were also given a lamp with a broken base to use. If I had my children with me I would have refused to sleep there, so I just want to make others aware that some, if not all rooms need serious work before I would class it as a place for visitors to stay. We didn’t want the ritz, we wanted clean, basic, and not to smell of damp.

Have a lovely 1 night stay here last night with my partner, situated 2 min walk to the Blackpool Tower and sea front, we had a warm welcoming from the lovely hosts Rory and vicki who where a pleasure to meet. Room was spacious and very clean. Will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Blackpool highly reccomend to family and friends. Thank you very much to you both 😊❤️xx

The Mayfield Boutique Guest House, located in the North Shore district of Blackpool, offers a peaceful retreat with views of quiet streets. The guest house is conveniently situated near popular attractions such as North Pier and Blackpool Tower. Guests can enjoy a comfortable stay in spacious rooms, including a family suite on the top floor. The owner, Lynn, provides warm hospitality and creates a relaxed atmosphere with thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and water.
The Mayfield Boutique Guest House was the perfect base for us to explore Blackpool. Our friends needed a dog friendly location and this was the perfect fit for all of us. Very close to the tram, to the seafront but quieter than staying right on the promenade. We booked through booking.com but if you book directly with the property you'll see more rooms. My husband booked us a double room which turned out to be too small and Lynn graciously let us switch rooms as it was the low season. The rooms are beautifully styled with lots of extra pillows and lamps. Its very cozy. Lots of drinks and snacks available, two beautiful areas to relax downstairs. Treats, water bowls, doggy towels and additional dog walking services all available here.
Amanda G — Google review
This was such an excellent find! Excellent location a stones throw from the dog-friendly beach and a short tram ride to all the main attractions. The Mayfield is very much geared upto ensuring that our furry four-legged friends are happy and comfy, with spare dog towels, balls and anything else they could need on hand. Lynn was an exceptional host- very warm and friendly and clearly cares deeply about her guests experience. I would not hesitate to recommend The Mayfield and we shall be back the next time we’re in the area- cannot fault it!
Rachel M — Google review
We found a little gem. Dog friendly and the owner Lynn was lovely . Teenage girls loved the top floor we stayed on and so everyone was happy including the pooch. Great location to hop on a tram for 10 min ride into Blackpool centre. Shop and cafe on same road to use . We will be going back for sure !!

We stayed at the Mayfield Boutique Guest House for two nights. We were in the two bedroom family suite and it was perfect for us and our dog. Lynn was very welcoming and gave us a tour on arrival and explained the facilities on offer. The accommodation caters to dogs, and Lexi was made to feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning here on our next visit to Blackpool and would highly recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Blackpool.

Had a great stay in the Mayfield, Lynn is a great host and very welcoming which made our stay comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the decor is lovely, the added touch of tennis balls and towels for the dogs was great 😃 the room was clean and just the right size for a family of 4. Lynn was very helpful with suggestions on places to eat and dealt with any issues promptly

Lovely hosts, friendly and welcoming on arrival. Stayed two nights with son and grandson. Even went out of their way to provide crumpets for grandson for breakfast. Room was lovely, comfy beds, very clean and location was great for everything in Blackpool. Would recommend to anyone. 10 out of 10. X

Just came back from a 3 day Weekender break at Shirley heights with my sister and brother. Derek and Amanda the owners were perfect hosts from when we arrived till when we left. My sister and I shared a room which was very spacious we had a double bed each the duvet and bedding were so warm lovely and fresh. The pillows were so comfortable as was the mattress. We slept like logs as there were blackout curtains too. The breakfast was amazing and I was very happy being a vegetarian to be offered vegetarian sausages. The choice of cereals and yoghurt was amazing too. The hotel is very central to most things there is a great social club next door called the h & a club. The town centre is only 10 mins away to coral island and all the other arcades plus the tower and beach front.. I would 💯% recommend the Shirley heights and in fact we have decided we don't want to stay anywhere else in the future having stayed in various establishments in Blackpool over the years this has far been the best. We shall be booking again soon for my birthday in may . Thanks again Derek and Amanda you made us feel very welcome it was like we had known you for years .

Great stay at Funky Towers. We really enjoyed our stay at Funky Towers. The room was modest and not what we expected but I can't complain. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and made the stay even better. The breakfast was lovely. The portions were generous to. Will definitely be visiting Funky Towers again.

We stayed over the weekend for air show, what a dump I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here, the wallpaper was damp with brown stains, the bathroom cold tap didn't work, the room was like sleeping in a broom closet, was very disappointing, we stayed 2 nights had no choice after paying £108 we just put up with it, as to blackpool being busy we probably wouldn't have got anywhere else to stay last minute, booking .com need to take this dump off they're books, we definitely won't be going back. I advise people give this place a wide birth.
Theresa K — Google review
Disgusting! No body was there at reception we had to call a number that was on the door. Then when we got in the smell was terrible. I love a curry but the whole place stunk of curry. Went to the room omg feaces and vomit on the wall broken draws feaces on top of the bin in the bathroom. Towels that had not been washed wallpaper literally hanging off the walls. So instead of enjoying our first day in blackpool we were hanging off our phones trying to find another hotel. Which we did thankfully. Please don't waste your time or money with this hovel. If I could give it 0 stars I would. It's minging
Trudi G — Google review
There was no disabled access to the hotel or inside the hotel, no lift. The outside stairs were a deathtrap very slippery, room was inadequate the sink was next to the beds, some of the lights not working, damp on the walls, ceiling looked as though it would collapse, the staff wasn't very welcoming, the place as a whole was outdated and didn't smell very good either. Won't be staying again.
Kelsey V — Google review
This jotel should be called Fawlty towers it needs a complete renovation the floorboards in the bedroom sunk as you walked over them the wallpaper is dirty the ceiling has a suspended ceiling with tiles and several water marks on them obviously a leak wardrobe door was screwed shut on one side and the bathroom was disgusting overall the room was really bad anybody thinking about booking this hotel don't
Lee M — Google review
I personally wouldn't recommend the place, arrived and service was okay, the staff were pleasant however the room provided was full off dust, mold, damp and didn't smell the greatest. There was marks on the couches, the chair by the table was falling apart and room didn't look like the images that we booked. As shown on pictures my little brother and dad have since come up in rashes, these came up about 10 minutes from leaving the room. Could see water streaming out as you looked out the window, paint work was patchy and wallpaper was falling off the walls. A ladder was straight outside the bedroom window which could be classed as a safety issue for anyone who is in the room or the hotel as a whole, TV was slightly working but only jad a certain amount off channels and kept glitching. We are just glad we only booked for one night as we couldn't have stayed any longer!
Caitlin M — Google review
Rooms are a dated. The hot water took over 5 minutes to reach the tap/shower. We paid extra for a Seaview room but the window unit seal had gone and the window was full of condensation, so with the window closed there was no view of the sea. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

It such an amazing 2 days to stay and celebrate with the wedding anniversary of our family here in birch villa. The owner Paul and karen was so welcoming and they really look after us during our stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked and prepared by both of them. The little bar inside was decorated beautifully with all the memorabilia they collected i think. We laugh and always had a story to tell every morning with them. Thank you so much and will gonna miss you both. Looking forward to stay in your beautiful and cozy bed and breakfast.

Beautiful little place to stay if your visiting Blackpool. Karen and Paul were the best hosts, very welcoming and helpful with parking as its very tricky round there. They sat and chatted with us and made us feel at home. 😍 They have a bar which was much needed after the drive. The beds were really comfy and slept well.😴 location is good for the beach ⛱️ and probably every else but our family was the other side of Blackpool so not so good. Breakfast was excellent 👌 we chose the day before so we knew what we were going to have and it wasn't at a stupid hour of the morning 😀. 9.00am. Unfortunately work commitments send us home early 😪. Would like to say a big thank you to Karen And Paul we enjoyed our stay even though it was short lived.

Amazing find! We booked our stay quite late on and was very lucky to find this place! I received a message saying our room was ready and we could check in early which I've never had before so this was amazing as I had a child with me. We arrived and Karen greeted us at the door, very pleasant and made us feel at ease. We checked in and got our keys, Karen was very helpful as we had booked the zoo and had no idea where the bus stop was! Paul came and introduced himself again very pleasant! Breakfast was LUSH! Very rare I find places that do nice sausages and the bacon was amazing! Room was nice and clean! Nice warm shower! Would definitely return here it's nice to walk into someone's home/business and feel like you've met them before!

10/10 thee perfect host. Muhammad and his family went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We were a family of 3, 2 adults and an under 2. Room was perfect, clean and plenty of space of the travel cot. Before our arrival Muhammad contacted me to say he had kept me a car park space outside. Upon arrival we were met out side with the offer to help with our bags. We got checked and showen to our room which was exactly what we expecting. Muhammad checked everything was OK routinely. We meet his 2 lovely daughters who were very friendly towards our little one. He kept us informed of events happening the local area. If you looking for guest house then I would highly recommend. I unfortunately witnessed Muhammad having to deal with rude, disrespectful and down right disgusting people that were staying in the deneside. To which he was very calm and handled very well. He was so apologetic to all his other guests even though this was something outwith his control. Thank you very much Muhammad and family and we will most definitely be back.

We spent 3 nights and were very happy with all aspects of our stay, The owners were both very friendly and approachable nothing was too much bother but in fact we had nothing to complain about! The room we had slept 3 a small double and a single bed both very clean and comfortable, the room had its own toilet sink and shower room with some toiletries free to use. The room itself was also very clean and nicely decorated as were the other rooms we were shown by the proud owner . We had both a fan and a heater available in the room along with tea and coffee Located within a short walk of central pier and lots of local shops and a short walk to the town center , the location was also quiet the only noise being from the local seagulls ! There is no food served but that wasn't a problem as plenty of places to get breakfast and other meals within walking distance Absolute value of our money and will definitely return in the future There is limited on street parking but we used the new secure multi story just across the road

Lovely couple, especially the man!! He was so welcoming and helpful, always asked if we needed anything, was really friendly and always chatty. The hotel wasn't far from parking, just a short walk to the sea front. The room was equipped with hand-wash, shower gel, towels, a heater, and a fan! It was fab, I was a bit sceptical at first but for the price and what you got, you can't go wrong! Only downsides are the toilet seat was broken so nipped your skin, and the shower was very slow and not that powerful but still did the job! Overall me&my partner had a lovely weekend and would definitely stay again, thank you !

Overall, it's okay. A little outdated, perhaps. But that does add to the old, British seaside town feel. The location is good. And the couple running the place were really lovely. I did however, expect a little more for £85 per night, but it was okay.

What a great experience me and my family had here today. all the models are amazing, the rovers return was great to stop and have a drink in this iconic British pub. the staff were great it's a must see attraction at Blackpool.

A great place to visit while in Blackpool, well worth a visit and good value when brought as part of turn blackpool days out pass. We spent around 2 hours here looking around, and the kids enjoyed it too. Even met Taylor Swift while we were there, she was a bit needy and kept asking for an autograph. Thor needs to hit the gym, hes let himself go.
William W — Google review
Its been a while since i last visited the wax works. we decided to go and give it ago and for £48 for the family ticket it was not the cheapest. We enjoyed our time here seeing the different people and having phots with them. it was not too busy at the time so we did not have to wait long to get a good look at each wax work. the whole walk around was around 2hrs with a stop in the rovers pub mid way.
Mark P — Google review
Had such a fun visit here, was fun for all of us. It was very clean, including the toilets. Appears very accessible too with lots of lifts (not that we needed to use them. But worth mentioning for those who do). Staff very nice and helpful, always smiling. The wax figures were so good, I had to look up close to so many of them because you couldn't tell that they were wax. Now history doesn't usually interest me, but I loved reading the history behind Madame Tussaud. So many different areas inside and a place to sit, drink and eat. The marvel area was incredible, and our favourite by far! Lots of photo opportunities, including paid ones to purchase if you'd like to. The gift shop at the end had a little bit of everything in there. It was very clean and well kept. Would be nice to see a few more people added in there like Luke Littler and Luke Combs.
Adele J — Google review
Absolutely brilliant!. We loved it, seeing all the celebrities up close is wicked and strange at the same time. There's someone for all the family.
Debbie L — Google review
Better than expected, and the waxworks were actually really good. Definitely worth a walk around with more celebrities than I realised there were. Not too costly, and especially great if the weather is rubbish outside 😂👌👍
Steven L — Google review
Had an ok visit on a Saturday morning. Wasn't too busy as we went in just after opening. The waxworks are pretty good likenesses and the theming around the attraction is good. There just isn't enough of them. The models are very spaced out and there is a lot of empty space in some areas where it looks like some have been removed. They could really do with adding a lot more to make the walk around more eventful - sad to see a big lack of sports stars, just a handful of British ones. Likewise music and film are very underrepresented. Was cheap to enter as part of the Blackpool multi attraction ticket though. Took us around 60 minutes to get through.
Adam T — Google review
First time attending and was really fun. Free photos by the staff on the way around and some really cool picture spots to take for yourself. The wax hand bit was also cool with the staff being very patient and friendly.

Lovely, there was so much to do. It’s also kid friendly, however some of the places aren’t buggy/pram friendly, but pram can be carried through the stairs. Would advise packing by the road, as you pay per hour and it’s cheaper compared to the car parks. Most spots prefers cash, so go along with ur cash, however there are cash machines. (Cardless/Card) It’s a walking distance to south pier

A peaceful and beautiful seaside spot! Blackpool Beach offers a lovely place to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and walk along the shore. It’s a great escape from the busy city life. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a calm and refreshing day by the sea.

I spent a great day at Blackpool Central Pier, which is exactly what you expect from a classic seaside experience. The pier itself has a retro charm with all the classic arcade games and amusement rides, including the famous Ferris wheel. I couldn’t resist a go on the ride—it offers amazing panoramic views of the coastline and the iconic Blackpool Tower in the distance. There are plenty of food stalls, with the ever-popular fish and chips being a must-try. I grabbed a portion of crispy fish and chips, which really hit the spot. If you’re into sweets, there are also candyfloss stands, ice cream kiosks, and traditional seaside treats. Walking around the pier, I spent some time in the arcades, testing my skills on the slot machines and enjoying the old-school feel of it all. The atmosphere was bustling, with families, couples, and tourists all enjoying themselves. Right around the pier, the beach was full of life, and the promenade stretched for miles with shops, cafés, and amusements. I could even see the Blackpool Tower lit up in the distance, adding to the iconic skyline. In short, Blackpool Central Pier is a fun, nostalgic spot that captures the essence of seaside holidays. It’s a mix of lively activities, beautiful views, and classic charm—definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Nice attraction for kids and adults. But the claw machines always get you. Your never win as the prizes are to heavy and claws are adjusted loose so you get you money taken with any hope of winning. It's a very fast get rich game for the owners which is easy money for them. Other than that not a bad choice of little food outlets but prepare to pay the price.
Luke G — Google review
Loads of great rides on central pier and a bar and beer garden at the start of it, on the promenade. Tickets available at the ticket booths, using cash or card. Need tickets for the rides as no cash is accepted on the rides. Great for kids and adults alike.

Victorian pier with amusements, palm reading, eateries & games. Excellent for a stroll & made me really nostalgic. Great fun if you like the amusements & some fun rides on there too
Elle R — Google review
Few metal detectors out the day I was there. They didn't dig much junk up so would say the beach is well clean and kept after. The detectors must be picking up any rubbish they find and taking home with them, which is good for beach goers. Big sandy area and tide goes a-far-ways-out.

Typical pier with food outlets and a wide variety of typical pier amusements. Great venue for kids of all ages when the weather is windy, wet and cold. Not cheap but worth it.

Stanley Park is a sprawling municipal park in Blackpool, offering a range of activities for visitors. The park features an adventure playground for kids, sports pitches, a BMX race track, and an art deco cafe. It's known for its flat terrain, making it perfect for cycling. Blackpool has invested in bike lanes and offers a rental scheme for both locals and tourists. Stanley Park spans 256 acres with woodlands, lakes, ornamental gardens, and impressive architecture.
Such a lovely park. Plenty of different areas, lovely to walk around with or without dogs. Lots of different paths, park never feels too crowded. So many beautiful places to have picnics. I absolutely love coming here. Staff in cafe and ice cream stalls are lovely too. Lovely wildlife there too.

Nicely kept park with a feature fountain, gardens, lake and trails. Nice cafe for refreshments, toilets and a car park. Lovely place to walk and see wild birds. A little ice cream stall sells bird feed and the birds will eat from your hands. Sug at the bird feeding station at the lakeside and watch them feed and the squirrels raid the bird food too. A few rats as always when by water but of no bother as thrh ketp their distance. If you're like me you'll still enjoy seeing everything and a few rodents. Boats to be hired. Looks available but charged sadly, something that should be free in a park really but otherwise great.

A delightful open green space with lots of features that could keep the whole family occupied for hours and offers a complete contrast to Blackpool's town centre and sea front. There is free car parking within the park, a variety of themed areas, boating lake and extensive children's playground, plus a cafe. Worth a visit!

I loved walking around Stanley park and it took me backvto my childhood days, when i last came here. I did want to get on one of the lions for a photo opportunity, but i was worried id get stuck and a air ambulance would be called to help get a guy, in a denim miniskirt off a lion! I didn't get chance to go on a boat on the lake, but it did look fun. The cafe was excellent and the lady who served us was really nice. The cheesecake was to die for.

Haven't been to Stanley Park since I was a boy - despite regularly visiting Blackpool! Visited the park today with wife, daughter and two dogs - little girl loved it, especially the play area and the lake. Grabbed an ice cream, fed the ducks, geese and swans (bird feed available for £1 from the ice cream stall near the boating lake). Lovely park and kept exceptionally clean and tidy.

The Imperial Hotel Blackpool is a stately seafront property with classic rooms and suites, upscale dining, and a health club. Situated on the quieter North Promenade, this historic hotel has welcomed famous guests like Charles Dickens, The Beatles, and Winston Churchill since its opening in 1867. With Victorian charm and modern comforts, the hotel offers traditional decor in bedrooms and elegant function rooms for dining.
Had an overnight stay here a couple of weeks ago with my family consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed in a family suite that was clean and tidy. Yes it was probably deemed old/dated but it was in character with the age of the building. The staff were all friendly and professional that we came into contact with. The gentleman called Chris who worked in the decadence was particularly pleasant. We opted for the evening meal which was all presented nicely and all meals were to a good standard. They were good value for money along with the breakfast in the morning. The evening entertainment was just off the hotel bar in a fabulous room with lots of original features. The singers were good enough to be entertained. There is also a games room with some arcade games and a pool table adjacent to the entertainment hall. Naturally, you have to pay to use them but it's a good facility to have when the kids are not fussed about the singers. All in all, an enjoyable stay and I would stop here again.

It was good, but it could have been much better. The lobby is incredibly cozy, and just as you step into your room you get really disappointed. It was extremely hot, and you couldn’t turn it down – there was only a fan. The view was nothing to brag about, but it was okay. There were holes in the bathroom wall, but manageable. Cleaning was very inconsistent – sometimes they cleaned thoroughly, other times they only made the bed. For example, we even found underwear and an empty beer bottle in the drawers. Despite all that, the food was really good, especially dinner. And the hotel itself is very beautiful, and the staff were very kind. We did have some issues with our key card, but they fixed it quickly. You can get a perfect sea view if you get one of the good rooms. I’m super happy I went, because the food was so good.

Stayed for three nights bed and breakfast, on arrival was checked in by Tristan, very polite and capable, all went smoothly. Our room was a twin, small but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very organised and plentiful lots of choices. Lovely bar and staff very cheerful and friendly. The hotel has various lounges which are quiet and roomy, lovely for an evening drink looking out on the sea front. Would definitely recommend 😁
Lorraine H — Google review
The Hotel was beautiful and had that old-fashioned vintage appeal, as if you've stepped back in time. The receptionist Nicky/Nikki was warm and inviting and informed us of facilities, amenities and the evening's performances held in the stage hall. The room was large and clean with a comfortable enough bed. The shower was a little old fashioned but still worked efficiently. For the price of the room, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The only thing I feel I should mention is the price of food and drink at the bar. For a can of redbull and a double Captain Morgans & coke, it came to £14.65. That's expensive, even in London. Otber than that, we had a lovely time.
Matthew S — Google review
Location is about 10 min walk North of the tower, which is ideal as it's quieter than down on the golden mile. Parking was ok, initially looked full but then found several spaces to the right side of the hotel. Noted though that after 330pm there were no parking spaces left. As a lot of people have said, the check in is slow. Two staff at the weekend is not nearly enough and could have gotten our weekend off to a terrible start. Hotel is very Grande, but tired. The carpet in public areas was threadbear in places (quiet room to the right of reception with pictures of the celebrity guests). The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was tidy. The breakfast was standard buffet, £10 each whoch was good value. We went about 830am before the rush and noticed the queues as we were leaving, but the staff in the dining area were very efficient. Breakfast had plenty of choice, hot English and cold continental, plus the cereals and juices you would expect. Tea/coffee was table service which actually worked well. Checkout was easy. Overall let down by check in, otherwise it would have had 4 stars.

Loved the history of this beautiful hotel the staff are friendly . We picked a small room but it was super cosy with nice warm radiator. The only thing i didn't like but this is to be expected is the noise the doors make when people bang them shut😀 but yes nice place. Can't comment on the food as we had room only

Although the weather wasn't that nice, this hotel was , The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was good. Nice drinks and good entertainment in the night. I stayed for breakfast and evening meal which was really nice. We had a choice. Of starters mean meal and pudding to finish. The rooms were tidy and clean. There was a television in the room and they were all ensuite. As stated before, the trams stopped right outside and so did buses but you could walk to the entertainment if you wanted to. If going to Blackpool again I would have no hesitation than to stay in this hotel.

The service was very professional and the location is perfect for Blackpool beach front. The buffet breakfast was tasty and still surprisingly (and happily) hot for it being 9am. The rooms are very spacious as it's an old style hotel. The only negative being that the rooms are very tired looking and a bit too warm. They definitely need fans during the summer weather.

This delightful gay-owned guesthouse features eight en-suite rooms and two with shared facilities, all equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and tea/coffee amenities. Guests can enjoy a self-service continental breakfast in the inviting blue building or venture next door for a hearty full English meal.
This was my second time staying here and couldn’t recommend it more! It’s spotless inside and Adam has been so welcoming both times. Teas / coffees downstairs whenever you like and was very quiet both times and even upgraded my room which was so nice of him. Great location as only 10 mins walk from north station and close to trams and buses. I’ll be back again!

Been going regularly for last 7 years and was a decent place to stay, however last 2 times Adam didn't provide a kettle and was moody also last year he swore at me for something I didn't understand. This year he has banned me from the guest house telling my friend I was a problem and have now lost all of our custom

The tight confinement of the shower cubicle and the fact that it had not been thoroughly cleaned from the previous guest use. Too warm in the bedroom, no fan to move the air around. Didn't have a good night sleep during the two nights stay due to bed being too bouncy and unsupportive (compared with Premier Inn bed offering benchmark).. Had the largest double guest room that they have but I was surprised how compact it was.

Basic guest house but for a few days stay it does the job just fine. Rooms (and whole hotel) are clean and tidy. No breakfast or food offering but plenty of places nearby and free tea/coffee available until 10.30. Couple of small chargeable car parks available very close by and location is quite handy for the promenade and station.

The Boulevard Hotel is a casual yet stylish accommodation option, conveniently located right on the Pleasure Beach. It offers warmly furnished rooms with luxury bed linen and family rooms equipped with kids' areas. The hotel features a range of dining options, including a locally inspired restaurant and a cafe for light bites. With modern facilities and high standards, it consistently delivers quality expected from a five-star establishment. Guests praise its impressive amenities, clean and stylish rooms, accommodating staff, and seaside location offering fabulous views.
An awesome hotel. Why cannot all hotels be this good. Modern, super clean, great staff and fantastic breakfast. The room layout is a hit for families as the little ones are distanced from the adults so everyone can get a good nights sleep. We would not stop anywhere else when we next visit Blackpool / Pleasure Beach. The hotel has quick access to the park for the first 1h30 each morning. But it would be even better if this was available all day. Thank you BLVD for a fantastic stay

You can see the full video review on my Youtube channel @travel.stay.explore Stayed for 1 night in a standard double room, with a theme park view Car parking is £15 for 24 hours and has decent number of spaces. Outside of the hotel is still in great condition and entrance are and lobby feel very premium. Check in was quick and professional. Every area of the hotel felt luxuriousness, even the lifts, stairway and corridors. Room itself was a great size, with a sofa and sitting area in as well. The bed was super comfortable. Mini bar include complimentary VOSS water and tea and coffee making facilities felt premium as well with biscuits Bathroom was a good size and contained everything you need. nice double sinks. Food was maybe a little overpriced but decent. Be aware the 'big one' is right next to the hotel and during theme park hours you can hear the roller coaster from inside the room. Overall i was surprised the hotel was so nice. It is 5 star but was in Blackpool instead of a major international city. Would definitely stay again! England isn't known for it's quality hotels and so my expectations for this £320 per night, 5 star suite were appropriately set. The hotel itself is clean and functional, devoid of atmosphere and soft furnishings, much like a business hotel. The "junior suite" was no more than a fairly small room with a sofa at the foot of the bed and the steep price didn't even include parking nor breakfast. With a 3pm check in and 11am check out, it cost a total of £360 for the night, to park the car and to have a mediocre breakfast for one. The staff were all very pleasant and professional though.

The Boulevard Hotel is, without a doubt, the quality hotel Blackpool has been waiting for. We recently visited with our three young children and had an absolutely amazing time. From the moment we walked in, the experience was fabulous, offering a perfect blend of luxury and family-friendliness. The Hotel Experience: Fabulous & Clean The hotel itself is stunning—modern, chic, and spotlessly clean throughout. After a hectic day on the seafront, coming back to our room felt like a genuine retreat. The view was a real highlight, giving us a spectacular look out onto the seafront, especially at night when the Blackpool Illuminations came to life. It was a beautiful sight for the kids (and the adults!). Surprisingly Great Food & Service A major stand-out was the food. Honestly, we were surprised by the quality; it was truly great. Excellent choices for the children and superb dishes for us. The service from the staff was equally top-tier—friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive to our family's needs. The entire team deserves a big thumbs up for making us feel so welcome. Perfect Base for Blackpool Adventures The Boulevard's location is ideal for an action-packed family holiday. Being right on the doorstep of the Pleasure Beach makes a huge difference. During our stay, we explored everything Blackpool has to offer: • We loved the magic of The Gruffalo attraction. • The views from the Blackpool Tower were breathtaking. • We spent hours in the exciting arcades. • No trip is complete without traditional donkey rides down the beach! It was non-stop fun for the kids and a truly great family holiday. The Final Verdict: Highly Recommended If you are looking for a high-quality hotel in Blackpool that delivers on cleanliness, service, stunning views, and actually surprising great food, the Boulevard is it. It offers great value for money for the standard you receive. Thank you, guys, for an awesome trip! We highly recommend the Boulevard for anyone visiting the resort.

It's one of the best British hotels that we have stayed in. Reception was easy to check in and out. Great staff and love the bowl of branded pieces of rock that you can take. The rooms are lovely, very modern, spacious and our sea view was great. The bed is relaxing and the big duvet adds to the comfort. The tv is huge and love the seating area to watch the the view. The bathroom is spacious, a great shower with good pressure and it even has two sinks, nice touch. The rooms are so well cleaned, the mirrors are streak free! Rooms are made up to an excellent standard every time and love the fragrance smell that they spray in the room. Everyone has been friendly and attentive. The food is the only minor criticism that I have, it's nice and fills you up but could be better since it's quite pricey for what you get.
David L — Google review
Well. The hotel on its own looks good, and it’s situated well, just round the corner from Pleasure Beach. It has its own VIP pathway to the theme park. However, it doesn’t deserve 5 stars because it’s far away from the standards seen before elsewhere. It’s good to stay for a night if you’re travelling to the above-mentioned theme park because you may get entry tickets included in your stay. Overall, the hotel looks good, and the rooms are modern and clean. The bed is very comfy—the best I've ever had in a hotel. Be careful of hidden fees, which nobody will tell you at the booking stage. Car park: 15 pounds per day, 100 pounds deposit, and everywhere they are seeking money, whereas in a 5-star hotel, everything should be included to feel better and more relaxed. Good breakfast
Łukasz J — Google review
We ate the restaurant Saturday evening.. It was my birthday party celebration.. I have to say the team was really good, they couldn't help enough! The food was REALLY REALLY good. The venue was also really beautiful. The car park is not really big enough, but that's not the hotel's fault. I will definitely go again....

Excellent stay and good value. Suite for 2 days including breakfast and 1 day in the park for 2 was £308. Spotlessly clean room and areas and polite and friendly staff throughout our stay. Carparking is £15 per night which again is good value for a secure car park. You do however have to give £100 deposit on arrival and been back 2 days and still not back into my account but I'm sure it will be soon enough just something to think about on arrival. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Probably the best hotel in Blackpool!!

The Big Blue Hotel, situated near Blackpool Pleasure Beach and a short distance from the iconic Blackpool Tower, is an upscale 4-star hotel offering modern amenities such as a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and spa. With positive user ratings for its location and cleanliness, this sophisticated property provides easy access to attractions like Madame Tussauds Blackpool Wax Museum and Grosvenor Casino Blackpool.
We recently stayed at The Big Blue Hotel in Blackpool and had a truly wonderful experience. We booked a family room which was perfect for our needs - the kids had their own bunk beds, each with its own TV and PlayStation, which they absolutely loved! It was a thoughtful touch that made them feel like they had their own little space. The adults weren't left out either, the large double bed was very comfortable and made for a great night's sleep after a day of fun. One of the best parts of our stay was that access to Blackpool Pleasure Beach was included, and even better, it was through the VIP entrance just steps away from the hotel. This made getting into the park so convenient, and we were greeted with a warm smile by the lovely older gentleman who manned the gate, he was an absolute delight and added such a personal touch to the experience. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, polite and always willing to help. A real highlight for our grandson was the "make your own pizza" activity in the restaurant, a simple but brilliant idea! The children were given a little chef's hat and apron and loved getting hands-on with their own pizza base, tomato sauce, and a range of tasty toppings. Our grandson was beaming with pride when he ate the entire thing he'd made himself. Overall, it was a fantastic stay that made our family trip extra special. The facilities, the little details for the kids, and the top-notch service made us feel truly welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Big Blue Hotel to anyone finding themselves in Blackpool.

We travelled 6 hours to get here but well worth it. The location was brilliant on the theme park own entrance to get in. The hotel staff were really kind and welcoming, from reception to breakfast to the cleaning team. The breakfast was good. We stayed five days and then booked an extra night, every day out room was cleaned and looked after lovely to come back to. We all slept well. Free jark tickets on two of the days. We will definitely be returning back to this hotel.

My dad and I recently had a nights stay at this hotel and we were blown away from the start! The staff were all warm, friendly and professional (and it felt genuine), nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We had an evening meal and a breakfast and the food was delicious, great value for money and felt like a real treat. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful, I can honestly say it’s the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I recently stayed here with my partner for a short break in Blackpool, not to mention my first! I chose this hotel mainly because of the reviews, and the fact it’s next to pleasure beach which was the main reason I came to Blackpool! To our surprise we were also upgraded for free to a Deluxe Room. It was extremely nice and the view outside the window of all the coasters was amazing! Speaking of the coasters, they aren’t too noticeable from the hotel room however if you are sensitive to noise then they may wake you up in the morning from around 9am during testing, not that I minded at all. The hotel was excellent, rooms well equipped with everything you’d need. They were cleaned and restocked every day should you wish. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way for you. If you book direct via the hotel and stay on certain days, you get free entry to pleasure beach too! I will definitely stay here again the next time I come up to Blackpool for the Pleasure Beach. Well recommended

One of the better hotels along Blackpool promenade next to the Pleasure Beach. Rooms are simple (but nice), cleaned daily with new towels given and beds comfortable. We did not get the breakfast deal as we felt it was quite expensive, finding breakfasts elsewhere. The gym was tiny with equipment I'd not seen since the early 90s.

Excellent service from start to finish. Staff are fantastic, rooms spacious and had everything we needed. Cleaning staff were also exceptional. We had a meal the first night which was very good and breakfast on both mornings. Wide variety to choose from and plenty to eat. Sausages were not my favourite, but everything else was spot on. Located next to the pleasure park made it a great location too and right next to the pleasure beach train station. We will be returning.

Stayed in a twin room. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need, including a hairdryer. The beds were comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. There were a couple of families staying on our floor but had we not seem them, we wouldn't have known they were there. The staff were really friendly and happy to help. And the breakfast was lovely, with so much choice. I would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend.

9 of us stayed here this weekend and the food, entertainment, staff we're great. Jackie the lady in the restaurant was brilliant she was so lovely with us all even though she was so busy. Paul on the bar was very chatty and friendly which goes along way. Ethan the young guy behind the bar and doing table service was great too. Would we stay here again? yes we would. We had a great weekend here at the Viking Hotel. Thank you all 😘 xx

We recently stayed here and had quite a mixed experience. The best part was definitely the location – it’s just a short walk to the Tower and Pleasure Beach, and there’s a tram stop right outside, which made getting around really easy. Free parking on site was also a huge bonus, with plenty of spaces available. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, special mention to Donna in the restaurant who was absolutely lovely. The bed was comfortable too, which made for a good nights sleep. On the downside, the hotel itself feels very dated and in need of a big update. While the room was reasonably clean, the furniture was covered in marks and stains, which made it feel a bit grubby. The food in the restaurant was very hit and miss – some meals were decent, but others were practically inedible. The meat was dry, the vegetables were overcooked, and the way it arrived so quickly made it feel like microwave meals. Breakfast was okay, though it would have been nice to see a bit more variety. We also tried the entertainment one evening, but it wasn’t really our thing – it seemed more suited to an older audience. Overall, the location and staff made the stay enjoyable, but the tired rooms and inconsistent food let it down. With some investment and improvements, this could be a really good place to stay.

Manky bathroom tiles all around the shower in the ridiculously small bath, looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in years. The toilet flush handle was almost hanging off and wouldn't flush properly. The bed was like sleeping in a banana, way over due for replacement plus the pillows where as hard as brick. The room it's self wasn't that bad, only because we weren't in it that long . Full of chince, perfect if your over 65 not too good if your under 50. This place resembles a nursing home with Death waiting in the top floor room for one of them to pop their clogs. Breakfast was a joke. Unless you send £30 on the evening meal, you have to wait for all the old gifts to eat first.. Not happy, far from it... Avoid like the plague if your under 40-50, go up towards the center or central pier. £130 a night for what?. Hampton hotel or premier inn.

Fabulous time have been visiting the viking for over 10 years and not been disappointed once. Staff are amazing, always willing to advise on places to visit but the in-house entertainment is second to none - can't wait to go back! Thanks guys, you do an amazing job!

It’s adults only. My room was fine but my friends wasn’t at all. Very damp and no room in the bathroom. Toilet was squished between bath and wall. Food is good. There are stairs everywhere, you have to use stairs even if you use lift. Staff are very friendly and location wise it’s great too.

This is the 3rd time we have been here, the staff are fantastic they are all so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little on the small and dated side but are spotlessly clean only downside is the towels they need to be bath sheets not bath towels. The food is lovely and hot both breakfast and evening meal are lovely lots of different choices and again fast quick service. The entertaimment is really good Buddy so funny and the dancers are fantastic, we have had 2 funny comedians on this weekend and 2 amazing singing acts all of which we would come and see again. This it is good value for money had a brilliant weekend.

In a good location for sea views, close to South Pier and Pleasure Beach. Staff are lovely but unfortunately this is all that is positive here. Hotel very dated, food is not good standard, room was dusty, bathroom window wouldn't open, (manager had to break the clasp to get it to open) toilet seat loose, mattresses extremely soft and offer no support at all. To get to rooms is like a labyrinth too, up and down steps, long corridors. Not particularly cheap here and certainly not good value. We booked for 3 nights but checked out after 1 and went elsewhere.

Great hotel the food is very nice with a great choice. Entertainment is brilliant and being on site and adults only is good we've been many times and will be back again.

The Parisienne is a townhouse hotel located in Blackpool, United Kingdom, offering comfortable rooms with French-themed accents. Situated on the fashionable North Promenade, it provides easy access to the town center, nightlife, theaters, and attractions. Guests appreciate the seafront position and proximity to Blackpool Tower. The hotel offers modern and well-equipped rooms with free breakfast and parking facilities. Visitors have praised the cleanliness of the rooms and friendly staff.
Stayed recently with a friend, room was better than expected for the price. Bed and overall room was very clean and tidy. Staff couldn't do enough for us. I've stayed at similar budget hotels before and had a far worse experience with them. Will definitely be staying if up this way again. Only slight complaint was bathroom was tiny but given price and overall value for money this is only a small relatively minor issue.

Stayed two nights as family of four. Wasnt expecting much after reading reviews. I'm sure it was a great place in its day, however our room.....was very dark as window full of bird poo on the outside and didn't close properly. The plumbing in the Toilet needs some attention as didn't smell nice a lot of the time. Shower needed bleaching, carpet needed cleaning, beds were a joke.. the safe didn't work. Parking not good. Got back to our room on second day to find the card not working...the door had not been closed properly by cleaning staff and we were able to open it without the card working. Not impressed!! Went to sister hotel for breakfast and that was excellent as was the service. Wouldn't book this hotel again , however it was an experience.
Lorraine W — Google review
The worst place I have ever stayed in! 1/5 stars is rating the hotel to high... Where do I start?! No room keys to any room, anyone off the street could have walked into the hotel and any room and helped themselves. Room was absolutely filthy, ceiling tiles missing in roof, no shower, holes and cracks in walls and everywhere thick of dust, and the carpet was stinking. We couldn’t even open our windows to let some fresh air in. We had a cardboard box over our window so couldn’t even see outside. (Lovely sea view room ‘apparently’) Saw some homeless people outside, I’d have rather have stayed in there bed for the evening instead of in this hotel. Oh and in the breakfast in the morning I had pubes in my egg... We went to this hotel as a party of 10 so booked out 6 rooms, all the same feedback. Never going back!!! Everyone stay away. If you see a good comment on this hotel, be warned, it is a LIE
Ben G — Google review
My experience was unbelievable really because.. 1. WiFi does not work in all rooms like they say 2. The place smells funny 3. The carpet is old and wearing out with iron marks 4. It is dusty 5. The roof looks cheap and it was falling apart. Looked like there was water that had leaked through previously 6. The bathroom is very small for a family room 7. The hot water did not work 8. The tv was buffering, loosing signal 9. The workers there are not helpful at all. The only good part were the beds and the parking. That’s all I have to say really, not staying again.
Maita M — Google review
Staff are helpful and friendly. Room was clean (bedding was spotless). You can't expect luxury when the price is so low. If you want that, pay more and go somewhere else. Carpets are all worn out and the lift didn't work. Breakfast isn't served in the hotel. You go next door for that. It was okay for a couple of nights but I wouldn't like to stay longer than that.
Andrew D — Google review
Small rooms. Need a good touch up. Bathroom is very narrow so he prepared to wall sideways. There is no window in the bathroom and the air vent isn't much good as the smell of damp will keep you awake. The gap at the bottom of our room door was so big you can put your whole hand through. We could actually see people's feet walking passed our door. The pillows were dirty under the pillow cases, the paint was coming off the walls, the top of the window was damp and mouldy. Staff are friendly. See pics
Natalie C — Google review
I had a pleasant stay; my room was clean and quiet, dark enough to sleep in with the curtains pulled, and with a kettle and TV supplied. The staff were friendly, relaxed and helpful too. Some of the carpet on the stairs was a little worn, but if you're not fussy about decadent aesthetics then the Parisienne is well worth the price. I can't comment on the food and drink as we ate out, but the restaurant, lounge and bar all looked tidy and clean to view.

A very basic room in a perfect location. We had a sea view from our room. Kettle included in the room. Shower in the en suite. Bed was VERY comfortable. Quiet rooms. Was only a 10 minute walk to the Blackpool Tower. Lovely, friendly staff. Would recommend and visit again.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The hosts are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The place could do with a facelift but who cares when the welcome and ambiance are so good. Breakfast is Brilliant and Carlton doesn't mind you getting a food delivery in the evening. Stacey is also a fantastic hostess and a great conversationalist. Hats off to both of them. I'm going up next week for my 4th stay and can't recommend the hotel enough. Ok it's not the Ritz Carlton but it's certainly Carltons Ritz. Love it.

Fantastic value for money in a very central location, 1 min walk for the Prom in between South and Central Piers. Carlton and Stacey were wonderful and friendly hosts, Carlton welcomed us on arrival for a quick and easy check in. Room was ideal for myself and the kids, clean sheets, toiletries and towels and comfortable beds. Great full breakfast available, and the kids eating free was just amazing! The bar was so handy to grab drinks at night, with the best ice in Blackpool! 😄 Everything you want from a stay in Blackpool, will definitely be back, thank you!

I recently had the pleasure arranging for a stag-do night at the Lucena Hotel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our group had an unforgettable experience. What truly stood out was the level of personalized service we received. A big thanks to Calton for the hospitality. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing the perfect retreat after a night of celebrations. If you're looking for a fantastic venue for a stag-do in Blackpool, look no further than the Lucena Hotel. Five stars all the way!

Really cannot thank Stacey and Carlton enough for the hospitality and going to the extremes to please myself and family. It was a spur of the moment. Decision on bank holiday was greeted by a friendly chap and his partner. Room was excellent value, clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing and plentifull. Very child, friendly nice little bar and even went to the extremes to helping us dry clothes and even after a very long day. Stacey took the time to play with my stepson. Nothing was too much for these people. It was like staying with family would definitely recommend. I will definitely stay here again, thank you both so very much for the pleasant stay

I would firstly like to thank Ellie for the easy experience of booking two rooms for my family of 4 and my in laws, she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you to Carlton and Stacey for their hospitality and making us feel welcome in their hotel. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed in our room to make it a pleasant stay. The facilities in the hotel were fantastic, the bar was great with very cheap drink offers and had a pool table with a kids toy area to keep them entertained. I highly recommend the buffet style breakfast on offer as it was delicious with a wide choice to cater for everyone with unlimited free tea and coffee throughout the day. Lastly I met a friend for life in Peter who was amazing and made our stay fun and memorable. There was nothing too much trouble for him and he was happy to help. He was a true gentleman. Because of this we will be returning in the near future as we had an amazing experience. Thank you from the Clisham family

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Had to cut our stay short as we couldn't stay in the hotel any longer. So dirty beyond belief. The toilet had poo around the back and had a towl over the pipe at the back also with poo and mould on it, the whole room was very dirty and smelly, sockets handing of the walls. Windows Absolutely minging.

We stayed for 3 nights over my birthday weekend. The welcome was lovely, customer service was amazing. We booked a small double room for £88. To be honest, this is a small room - The staff knew about it being a special occasion so upgraded us free of charge to a double room with sea view and honestly it made the stay! It was a lot bigger, larger TV and a gorgeous view. There was the odd few things that were dated, worn & broken - however, you get what you pay for. These did not affect our stay at all. Thank you for the lovely stay!! We will be back!!

We really had a great time here. We stayed for 5 nights and it was lovely. We come to Blackpool every year and this was one of the best accommodation we've been. We had a warm welcome from the host, with a good customer service from him. Spacious beach front room, overlooking the sea. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back

What a lovely host.Pity this hotel doesn't reflect it's owner. We have never stayed in Blackpool in a worse place virtually everything you touched was ready to come off in your hand and we have pictures. This hotel was dirty and worn out and needs a major overhaul, cards in the hallway stating how much people have enjoyed there stay we find hard to believe. The second room we we're offered was slightly better but still small and unfortunately my partner fell through lack of space and now has a real black eye after heavy contact with the sliding toilet door. This is definitely not a hotel we will return to.

This place is unclean and the beds and pillows are Shocking! Two days on and my neck and back are still aching. The disgraceful response to my issue about the poor beds.... You should've paid for an 'upgraded room'. Disgraceful. Don't stay here unless you want to ruin your weekend. Wonder deals with customer service is incompetent. You don't get free parking or breakfast either.... Don't be fooled. I will never stay here again Ever! £69 they charged me for 1 night too! Rotten!

Chose this B&B based on its rating and we were not disappointed. Hosts are really good, rang us to say room was ready early which was a nice touch. Parking is a bit like Jenga, having to move once in a while, because it is small, but being free - it's absolutely no issue. Breakfast was really good. Very filling.. Just stayed at By The Seaside Blackpool for a couple of nights. Stayed in Room 6 on the top floor. Very large spacious room with seating area. Mini bar, High quality tea and coffee tray with luxury biscuits, sweet jar! Beautiful B&B, lovely decor and everywhere is spotless. Had drinks in the bar where you can play your own music videos on the TV etc. All drinks were good prices. The breakfast was outstanding. Never seen such a choice of buffet items and then a breakfast menu cooked to order which was excellent quality. The hosts Denise and Steve were so welcoming. The best B&B in Blackpool 🤩 me and my partner had such a lovely stay over the weekend and could not recommend By The Seaside enough! The room was so clean and comfy we could have spent the weekend in there and when getting ready there was a whole dressing table with a studio style white lamp which was PERFECT! As well as tea and coffee there was also a proper coffee machine which was a lovely edition. The host Denise made breakfast in the morning and we could not fault it- I had eggs benedict and it was unreal 🍳🍳 there was also plenty to choose from in the continental section. In the evening the bar was lovely and hosts were so welcoming and happy to chat with us ☺️ Overall, it was a lovely stay, full of little details that pulled it all together and we would happily visit again!

Rest & Welcome is a cozy B&B in Blackpool that serves as a great base for exploring the area. Guests appreciate the homely atmosphere, clean rooms, and excellent breakfast service. The hosts are praised for their exceptional hospitality and making guests feel welcome. The location is also highlighted as being close to the station, beach, and promenade. Overall, visitors find it to be a perfect home away from home with fantastic hosts and a convenient location.
Just spent a week over New Year at this fantastic hotel. The owners John and Alison could not be any more welcoming and could not do enough for you, we were made to feel very much at home. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was lovely and the location is perfect. We witnessed first hand how professional and calm they are when being challenged re running out of loo paper by one guest......who when given more stated it was not his job to take the roll to his room......we will definitely be back as it was great value for money, love Nicky and Craig

We found this charming little hotel via a voucher. The rooms are of a decent standard, not fancy, but what you expect for a well priced b & b in Blackpool. The room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfy. We had an unexpected view of the tower and it was well positioned to get to local nightlife and core attractions, There is a lovely Italian restaurant just around the corner, great for evening meal. The breakfast is simple, but great eggs. And great selection of cereals, toast and other breakfast bits. What really impressed us, though, were the hosts. They were very kind. When I left my purse behind they posted it back to me. Would stay again.

What a fantastic location! It was fit for purpose, and Alison was excellent and accommodating to our needs. She has served us lovely eggs on toast, a selection of cereal, yoghurt, juice and more toast if needed to help ourselves. Comfortable bed. We did not have an en suite bathroom, but it felt like we had one as we seemed to be the only ones on the floor. I recommend this, especially if you need to stay only for a night. Thank you Alison, great service!

Great little place. Everything you need for a short stay. Great location and a really warm welcome. Breakfast was good, simple and served fresh. Bedrooms are clean and big enough to cope. Our room needed darker curtains to block the light better, but we spoke to the owners about this and they are addressing it. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend. For what the charge is to stay here, no complaints at all thank you.

Amazing stay here with great hosts. Rooms have everything you need and Alison is quick to help if anything extra is needed. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast and lots of fun in the bar! Would highly recommend and can't wait to stay again!

A budget guest house but 5 star service. Much nicer than other guest houses we've stayed in at Blackpool. Great location for bars, shops and restaurants and a few minutes walk from the beach front. The owners were friendly and helpful and we felt like part of the family. Great little bar area and outdoor seating that catches the sun. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay if you're looking for a quieter stay in Blackpool. Extremely clean large room. Note that it is some distance from the north pier approx.20 minute walk but if you don't mind a walk and like a bit of peace it's perfect. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly the facilities were just what you needed. Close to a pub that serves meals, a pay as you go car park, a local co-op, and several cafes, the promenade, and a local tram stop. Being further out meant there were no disturbances at night and a the breakfast the following morning was lovely. Sorry didn't take pics too busy enjoying our weekend.

We spent 2 nights in this little hotel. Ignore the 1 star reviews. It’s Blackpool at the end of the day. Also the owner is Scottish, expect her to be abrupt. We found the owner to be great, good banter and she looked after us. Breakfast was absolutely banging. Bed was a bit hard but again to some people they would like that. Fantastic location. Short 20 minute walk across the beach front and your in the main bit. Or catch the tram which is pretty much 2 mins away. Will definitely stay here again.

It was lovely and clean. Including the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Angie is a lovely lady. Breakfast was also cooked to perfection. We will be back at some point. Normally stay closer to the north pier. It was a quiet area 5 min walk to the tram stop.

Warm friendly host making it feel homely. Rooms clean, comfortable, and excellent facilities. Highly recommended. Breakfast could not be faulted - well cooked, presented with individual preferences catered for. Ignore poor reviews must be reviewer as experience was totally opposite. Good location, would return, as would many others according to the guest book.

Room was lovely and the bed was so comfy, I didn’t wanna get out of it! Definitely would stay here again. It’s also really close to town and very easy to find. The service from the owners was lovely too. They are so nice and lovely and made sure we was happy with our room and we even got to meet their doggos!! Definitely a bonus. We will definitely be back.

Great value for money! The staff at The Marinne Hotel were absolutely amazing! Really friendly and helpful when asking for directions, etc. Was lovely to meet them. If we needed anything extra, they were always happy to help. The location is great and everything is a short walk away. Room was a bit compact but there were 4 adults in 1 room so it was expected! The beds were nice and comfy as well. The free toast provided was also a nice touch. The only thing I would say could be worked on is the cleanliness of the bathroom/toilet areas. It wasn't dirty by any means but maybe putting in some bottles of bleach/anti-bac spray, air freshener, etc would be helpful!
Adam L — Google review
I don't even know where to begin in reviewing this place, so I will summarise as best as I can: it's a steaming cesspit! I would give it a zero if it had been possible. Now I appreciate that it's cheap at £26 a night, however I expect some level of cleanliness. There was none. The shower was full of mould, and my partner had to wipe the toilet when we entered the room. There was nowhere to put tooth brushes, hang towels, even the toilet roll was stuck on the side of the sink. The room itself was full of dust, and the bed. My. God. The pillows were orange and didn't have protectors on them. Two of the four appeared to be falling apart. The mattress was also without a protector and orange (gag). I would have accepted that the mattress was lumpy had it been clean, however it was an abomination. The carpet was disgraceful, and there was a strange smell about the place. We laid on top of the bed on the towels, but my partner snapped at 2am, saying we were going home after observing my cough becoming worse (I felt like I was choking with the air quality) and he was convinced he had been bitten. He didn't have to ask me twice, we got up and got out of there. Within 20 minutes of leaving my cough was much less aggressive, and we had a comfy nights sleep two and a half hours later in our own bed. My advice to anyone thinking of booking a stay in this place: DON'T.
K C — Google review
Very welcoming, bed was comfy. There was a lot of noise through the early hours by other guests but we are hoping this was a one off as we are looking to stay again. Breakfast was included and it was very nice. It was bought to the table with self service to toast, tea and coffee. The room was clean and tidy, so was the shower/bathroom
Daniel G — Google review
It was just a place to crash at after a football match and was cheap enough. It's not somewhere I'd take my wife but if I was stopping over for a match or a drag do then I would. Had a quick shower and then was out. It's got it's problems but it was cheap enough and suited us for what we needed. Bed was clean and it was also quiet (I think we were the only ones there).

Me and my son stayed. On arrival it took 20 minutes for the front door to be answered as the manager Zara was in the shower...this was 12.30pm 🙈 We went to look for a car park and went to do our planned stuff. We got back to the hotel to check in about 4.30 where Zara greeted us and only seemed interested in how we were paying! We were given keys to room 9. Inside after a fight with the door, we were greeted by a cold smelly room. We decided to have showers to warm up. The shower went from burning to freezing!!! We decided to get into the bed to get warm as the room was very cold. After 2 hours of freezing and my autistic very upset son wanting to go home, I texted Zara and asked for a heater her reply was sorry the heating must have clicked off I’ll put it on!! After an hour of still not getting warm and the tiny radiator was on, I received a text saying she needed to turn the heating off as somebody had left their shower on. She would put it on a bit later on!! I sat in my room and emailed to start complaints. The replies were rude and abrupt. We then got a knock on the door and Zara was there asking can she check the radiator. I explained the radiator is now on but it’s so cold. Her reply was done people are just cold people! We were given extra quilts and basically told to get on with it...although she did say if we came again we’d get a discount!! I don’t think so!! I explained about the fault with the shower to which she tried to blame united utilities 😂 Overall a shocking uncomfortable experience for £50!!!!

We were locked out on arrival with no way to contact anyone. The windows were all open ( we could see a BUNKBED in one of the rooms which immediately filled us with dread) so I had a strong suspicion people were there but still in bed ( this was at 12ish in the PM, and no one could be bothered to be on site?) Check in was 2:30 but we were hoping to use the toilet, drop our bags off and ask about the parking ( they promise free parking but it's only when you book they send you a note to tell you it's only first come first serve and they have TWO SPACES. ) We tried their number but it went straight to a voicemail which I thought wasnt in English but it was actually just broken and not making sense. After banging on the door didnt work (doorbell dosent work either), we went and found paid parking and came back around 3ish to see if we could get in. During our walk we even discussed cancelling our day in blackpool, purely because of the really bad impression we were getting. As we were walking up to the hotel for a second time it was still all locked up with no signs of anyone when we suddenly heard a voice across the street call out, Zara the manager. Not sure what she was doing hanging around in the street. She lead us in and was pleasant enough but I guess I was already in a bad mood from the first impression and was ready to relax, so I wasnt in the mood to chat. She breifly explained some basics and quickly asked for payment and that was all we saw of her. The place looked intially clean but also really run down and unwelcoming. This isnt an hotel, it's a building with bedrooms. The inside is very basic, bare, lacking personality or character. First ever place we paid for where I was looking forward to leaving before we even saw the room. The staff members we saw were all reasonably friendly but the overall vibe i got was this is probably what those hostels that the council use to house homeless people must feel like. Was convinced a homeless person had decided to camp out on the main doorstep but then realised he was sweeping up so was actually staff. I even wondered if some good samaritan had bought a cheap hotel and left it to be run by a group of people with nowhere to go, just to give them a fresh start in life! The cleaning staff obviously work hard to keep things presentable in a building that probably hasnt had any upkeep since the 80's. The hallways smell nice and carpet fresh, but extremely cramped. We had a small double and it basically does what you need for the night but If i had to stay here a week, I'd be horrified - very, very basic. The room was clean but there's no where other than the bed to sit. Nowhere to hang wet towels at all. The bathroom clearly gets cleaned often but it felt like a cleaning cupboard turned into a bathroom. No amount of scrubbing will keep it from falling apart though, it's very run down and when the light is on, you can just about see what you're doing. Also, the door hasnt got a lock and wont stay shut. It's hard to recommend. If you literally just want somewhere near the city to get your head down, I guess this would do, but personally, I'd pay 20 quid max. As friendly as everyone seemed, there's zero professionalism here, and personally, i didnt feel too safe during my stay ( we misunderstood how our door locked and accidentally left it unlocked and someone opened our door in the early hours, very scary). It felt like the staff seem to forget about the place after a certain time in night. Just as expected, there was no one around as we left in the morning. I get the feeling management just straight out refuse to get out of bed in the mornings, even for buisness. There was no breakfast on offer but we weren't complaining since we didnt really like the idea of eating food from here. They say there's no breakfast due to covid, but to be honest that felt like an excuse to do less, as everywhere else has been serving food for ages.
Aaron W — Google review
Excellent location, incredibly close to everything! slightly odd check in though as it's more like a bed and breakfast than hotel. There's a door with a written sign saying 'please knock' and it doesn't say when is acceptable to knock from and til so I didn't want to ask for anything later in the evening eg hairdryer. Nice breakfast despite lack of gluten free options. They let us park until afternoon of day we were leaving which was very kind. Would stay again as it was very reasonably priced and clean with welcoming staff.

Fabulous Guest House – Comfortable, Wonderful Customer Service, Value for Money. One of the best value-for-money guest houses in Blackpool, the property provides a comfortable place to stay in a central location close to the promenade, beach, shopping district, famous nightlife, the Winter Gardens, and Conference Centre. Srikanth and his team are excellent hosts providing marvellous customer service with the guests always coming first and a top priority. The rooms are all en-suite, the space is plainly decorated and clean, the electronic room heaters mean the guests control the warmth in the room, the beds have good mattresses with nice pillows and warm duvets encased in crisp clean white linen, the modern televisions have all the Freeview channels and the Wi-Fi has good connectivity and speed. The en-suite was clean and the shower water pressure was fantastic. Above all everything works. Be aware that the guest house does not have a lift and there are limited ground floor rooms, also no breakfast is offered, there is a great cafe just around the corner and a McDonald’s at the end of the street. If you are looking for a comfortable, value-for-money place to stay in central Blackpool, look no further than the Elmora Guest House.

The room was quite simple but clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very accommodating and the price/value was good. Furthermore, the location is almost unbeatable since we were there for the Rebellion festival in Winter Gardens. I think this is our best stay yet in Blackpool.

Upon arrival we noticed a strange smell, like air freshener. Checked in without problems, the host was friendly. One flight of stairs to our room, no lift but wasn't a problem for us. The room was very small, a small shelf with kettle and a lamp at the foot of the bed and some hooks to hang clothes on. There wasn't a dresser, draws or wardrobe. The bathroom was an ok size, but again, no storage. The walls were very thin and we could hear people watching TV and talking in other rooms (No doubt they could hear us also). There wasn't a breakfast option at the property but breakfast available at the hotel 2 doors down.

This little gem is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and central for all attractions. The little touches, from the beautiful furnishings and hand styled decor to the massive shower, made us feel a bit special! The breakfast is to die for! And worth every penny! But the best thing by far were the hosts! From check to check out nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so welcomed! We can't wait to return with our doggy next time! They even inspired a new tattoo for my daughter. We cannot thank you enough for making our trip so special!!

David and Gill are brilliant! Friendly, informative, helpful and just cannot do enough for their guests. The superior double room was spacious and spotless. Parking out front is cheap and ideal. Felt very safe and comfy here. Breakfast was affordable and the choice is great, happy to decide the night before. Didn’t need any extras whilst there for 2 nights but I know David and Gill would have helped with anything asked. Iron and board was available both days we needed them, free and easy to use and find. Basket full of stuff on the landing in case guests forgot anything and drawer full of extra tea/coffee items if any guests needed, great touch for the price. Extra heater, towels and flannels in the room. Everything thought of for a stay away. Look forward to coming back, thank you for having us!

We stayed in Room 7 on the 2nd floor for 9 nights. If you have big and heavy luggages like us, beware as there is no lift available. The room was clean and generally comfortable, though quite basic. During summer, it can get a bit warm as there’s no air conditioning. The location is fairly convenient — within walking distance to the train station, the beach, and a shopping mall. The hosts, David and Gill, are extremely friendly and helpful, and their hospitality was very much appreciated. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved: • Water pressure in the bathroom was quite low. • The internet connection was unreliable — when it did work, it was very slow and frequently disconnected. • Drinking water was only provided on the day of arrival (2 bottles), with no replenishment during the rest of the stay. • Housekeeping was done every other day, but sheets were only changed once throughout our 9-night stay. With a few adjustments, it could be a much more comfortable experience, especially for longer stays.

The Rooms were furnished cosy and bright. Tea, coffee and kettle facilities where standard but quaint along with some well thought of sweets and chocolates. I also really liked that in our family room, they put a really cute cloud night light next to our daughters bed which I thought was lovley as she has one at home. Shower room had everything we needed including flannels towels and shower gels etc. I also Had a much suprise morning on my Birthday as the staff had decorated our breakfast table with banners and mini ballons along witj sweet treats and a card, so lovley. Bed & breakfast
Oban House Hotel is a friendly guest house offering simple rooms with free perks like breakfast and shuttle service. The single rooms with ensuite showers provide holidaymakers with a private space. Guests have praised the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. The location is convenient, just a short distance from Blackpool North/North Pier by bus or on foot. Visitors appreciate the clean, quiet surroundings and easy access to transportation. Overall, it's a comfortable and affordable option for those seeking a pleasant stay in Blackpool.
We could not fault our stay. The minute we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome. We had one of the small rooms (I have stayed in smaller rooms in Blackpool) we are not small people and had enough room to move around/pass one another. We don't spend a lot of time in our hotel rooms, we look for a clean room (I have allergies), a comfy bed and hot shower at a good price - breakfast is always a bonus. We typically stay in the centre however this area was so clean and quiet. A15 minute walk from the centre or one short street away from 2 tram stops. Continental breakfast has loads of operations and ever filling. This B&B ticked all our boxes and surpassed our expectations. The B&B owners have just taken over in the last couple of weeks but you can tell this is something they are passionate about. Talking to them they have great plans for the B&B over the next coming months (with some mattresses being replaced already). We will definitely be looking to return here for our next visit to Blackpool.

Stayed here on the weekend for 3 nights and I have to say best service and hotel I've stayed in on my many visits to blackpool. Mayu was an amazing host and made me and my son feel very welcome and at home. Will definitely stay here again and again and bring the family next time. She truly is lovely person
Sammy C — Google review
This is a friendly guest house with several single rooms with ensuite shower for holidaymakers to have a space totally to themselves. I stayed here for five nights and found the service to be excellent. the breakfast was a selection of "continental" which for me meant a cereal, pastry and yoghurt. I look forward to returning to this guest house in the future. It's less than ten minutes on a bus from Blackpool North/North Pier and under 20 minutes if you prefer to walk. It was a great location for seeing the illuminations which were a 2 minute walk to the promenade.

Absolutely fantastic Hotel...thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Exceptionally clean and Angelo who owns the Hotel was very warm and welcoming nothing was too much trouble for him. Continental breakfast was superb. Would definitely recommend this Hotel and we will be back. Thank you Angelo for a wonderful stay 😊

The room for 2 people is so small that 2 of you can’t even stand in it together. Window doesn’t open & it’s claustrophobic. Hot & humid. Walls are damaged. Room not as per website photos. Would not recommend this place at all.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL.... I had a booking with this hotel since February for August they emailed me saying they had overbooked(even tho a friend who booked in march still had hers) I tried repeatedly to ring them only to have my call rejected! Rang them from another number and surprise... He answered my call! Tried to give me a single room(two ppl) saying that all he had left blaming booking. Com, Rang booking. Com complaint dept, they said hed had specified he had more rooms than he had !! If his attitude was more pleasant on the phone i wouldn't have wrote the email but it was disgusting the way he spoke to me on the phone. Shameful way to run a business.

Pleasure Beach in Blackpool is a thrilling amusement park that offers an array of roller coaster rides, delectable food options, and mesmerizing magic shows. Situated by the seashore, it provides a beautiful setting for enjoyable evenings. It's highly recommended to book tickets in advance for the best prices. Overall, it's a fantastic place to spend a fun-filled day with family and friends.
Wonderful thrilling day to enjoy the roller coasters and rides. There are plenty of food outlets to enjoy and rest in between the incredible rides. Lots of shows and performances all year round. Easy to access from the promenade with trams and buses 🚌. There are lots of carparks and even has crazy golf adjacent .

My girlfriend was staying here with her family and some friends and i dropped some bags off and stayed for a few hours , Carol and John were really welcoming and did everything the could to make everyone happy and even offered for me to stay as well. Lovely place. Very homely and easy to get along with and have a laugh. The rooms were decorated nicely and set to a high standard . You could see they are passionate about their hotel and everything to do with it and that’s why I wrote this review even when I didn’t stay . All the best for the future !

Carol and John are a great couple, nothing is a problem, the breakfast was delicious. The bedrooms are well decorated and each room has its own style, and are spotless. A great friendly couple who make you feel like one of the family. Ideal location we will definitely be going again.

Liz and Terry are fabulous hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. Stayed in Room 5, beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean. That reminds me must get some of those pillows!!! Comfiest I've ever laid my head on! Had a lovely stay, The Rimini is centrally located, ideal for either the pleasure beach or the Tower Side of Blackpool. Fabulous hosts! Fabulous BnB! Fabulous stay! Fabulous breakfast! Would highly recommend to anyone taking a visit to Blackpool 😃😃 see you again soon X
Dawn P — Google review
Ideally located in the centre of the attractions, this is a charming little bnb. The rooms are all clean and modern, bed is comfortable, and a warm welcome given. My only complaint is that it is difficult to park; you may be forced to use the football club car park although we were lucky that the owners could accommodate our car in their own space.
Daniel C — Google review
Stayed here on the easter weekend and loved our stay, warm friendly welcome and the rooms were lovely and fresh, breakfast was delicious and just what you needed after a night out. Thank you to the owners for making us feel so welcome we will be booking again for the August bank holiday x

Absolutely stunning hotel. We stayed in one of the garden suites (Haystacks) and enjoyed a large, clean, beautifully decorated room with a relaxing hot tub right outside on our decking, perfect for dipping into while the sun was setting and …

We had an amazing stay at the Rimini, Carol & Rob were great hosts, we had 2 rooms which were spotlessly clean, my daughter managed to get parking aswell, we will definitely be going back, so anyone looking for a nice friendly place to stay give the Rimini a try, definitely 10/10
Tricia B — Google review
Spent 2 nights at the Rimini would certainly recommend. Was met by Carol and Rod very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our room which was the family room was very spacious with drinking facilities and plenty of storage space, TV and the beds were comfy, we had a great nights sleep both nights. The location for us was perfect, we spent 1 day at the pleasure Beach which was within walking distance and the next evening Tower end again within walking distance no having to get taxis or trams. The Beach which is a 2 minute walk away at the end of the road was perfect not to busy, tower end of the beach seemed very crowed where as this was the ideal spot. Nothing was to much trouble for Carol and Rod they checked we had what we needed and left you to come and go and do your own thing. Lots of places near by to eat and I'm returning in the school 6 weeks holidays and will certainly try as my first option to check availability to stay here again
