Italian restaurant
Virgin Courtyard is a charming Mediterranean-style restaurant located in Chandigarh. The beautiful interiors are adorned with floral decor and white furnishings, creating a romantic and rustic atmosphere. The restaurant offers an elevated dining experience with its terrace seating, serving handpicked Italian dishes and wines. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a special celebration with family, Virgin Courtyard provides the perfect setting to enjoy exquisite Italian cuisine in a serene countryside ambiance.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved the vibe at Virgin Courtyard! The Margherita pizza was fresh with perfect crust, and the mushroom risotto was creamy and flavorful. Virgin sangria was refreshing and fruity. Beautiful ambiance, great service—perfect for a relaxed Italian meal in Chandigarh!
Jagwinder S — Google review
I had lunch at Virgin Courtyard and tried their half-and-half vegetarian pizza, which was absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the edges and soft inside—with fresh toppings and great flavors on both halves. It was well-seasoned and satisfying. I also had a mocktail, which was refreshing and well-balanced, not too sweet, just the right mix of flavors. The ambiance of the place added to the experience—calm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Overall, it was a great experience with good food, a lovely setting, and quality service. Definitely a place worth revisiting!
Phalguni — Google review
The place is great in terms of food and ambiance, no cap. But the price they charge is exorbitant and their quantities are miserly. So while I'd reccomend this for an anniversary/special day, it is simply not feasible for regular dinners.
Aayan S — Google review
Atmosphere was good. Food delivered was relatively cold. Had to rewarm it. 10/10 for cleanliness. The lights were superb. However the services were relatively slow
Ramanjot D — Google review
Virgin Courtyard is hands down one of the best fine dining restaurants for continental cuisine in the city. The ambiance is absolutely charming — serene, romantic, and perfect for both intimate dinners and relaxed lunches. The food is consistently delicious, with every dish beautifully presented and full of authentic flavor. Their pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and signature desserts are a must-try! The staff is courteous, attentive, and adds to the overall great experience. Highly recommend Virgin Courtyard for anyone who loves quality continental food in a stunning setting.
Mukesh K — Google review
Amazing Italian restaurant Nice place for couples and families to dine in
Sanbir K — Google review
Last week, I had the pleasure of dining at Virgin Courtyard, an authentic Italian restaurant. Our meal was a delightful experience from start to finish. We started with a thin-crust veg pizza straight from the oven, bursting with flavor. The handmade spinach pasta with white sauce was a true standout, perfectly cooked and wonderfully creamy. The shallow-fried veggie couscous was a unique and delicious side dish. To drink, we enjoyed refreshing hibiscus tea. The ambience and interior of Virgin Courtyard were charming, adding to the overall dining experience. One thing that stood out was the way they served the welcome bread and handmade vegetable sauce, which truly boosted our appetites. The attention to detail and quality of the food made our visit memorable, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a lovely setting.

Restaurant
Saffron is a fine dining restaurant that pays homage to the flavors of the North West frontier region, particularly the pre-partition Punjab. It aims to recreate the culinary magic of that era, offering succulent kebabs, rara muttons, tandoori chickens, and various vegetarian delights.
Saffron - JW Marriott. They have kept their reputation for a reason. Very well maintained property. The interiors are very serene and beautiful. The food at the Saffron is delicious. The staff is very well behaved and polite. Had an amazing time here. Celebrated my mother's bday here. It was worth the decision. Made it memorable for our family! Thank you for that! :)
Kumar R — Google review
I had made a dine in reservation at Saffron for dinner for my Birthday, then I was denied the dine in offer for the chef’s curated menu after being told about terms and conditions. But just a month ago I had availed the same offer for chefs curated menu for my Parents Wedding anniversary and it was good but why was it denied on my birthday. Had I not have been given an offer earlier or just would have even got a confirmation or proper explanation prior to my arrival time, it would’ve been okay. Also the waiter didn’t seem to be bothered after I informed of my disappointment and so i walked away to another hotel. The problem was not with the money or the terms and conditions but with the fact that i felt cheated by the restaurant and felt heavily disappointed as it was a special day for me. It only takes one moment to shatter the trust and guess this was it for me.
Eeshan K — Google review
Excellent food. Murg-E-Khaas and paan ice cream my favourites. Best chicken ever had. Ashish and the chef gave good recommendations
Olly — Google review
Visited Saffron on the recommendation of colleagues. It was an excellent choice. We selected both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian set menus and agreed this was a great way to sample the dishes. The kitchen has an open plan area where you can see the dough and the coated skewers going into large tandoors. The food that comes out is fabulous - skilfully spiced and full of fresh baked flavour. Fish, soy and chicken starters were the stars. Service is professional and discrete. A well known singer performed while we ate. Mostly it added to the ambience, although it could be a little loud at times.
Ajay B — Google review
Had a fantastic meal at Saffron. Chef Jatinder Singh was exceptional, and he took personal care to ensure that we were very comfortable. I've rarely seen this level of personal service anywhere. The food is outstanding as well.
Rishabh G — Google review
The dishes were good but was not worth the price of Rs 3000. There wasn't many variety and the hospitality was lacking... Earlier our thought was to go for a`la-carte but individual dishes were about 800 rs each, so thought better to go for buffet. In buffet, there were both vegetation and non-vegetarian. Both were equal in number. 3 snacks, 1 soup, 3 live session (in our case pasta, chaat, gol gappe), 1 rice variety, 3 vegetable dishes, 2 types of chappati, 3 types of salad, 3 types of cheese, 5-6 types of cake, 3 types of ice cream, 4 types of sweets. There was no cold-drink, tea or coffee. It was on extra price.

One of the best experiences!! Had a dinner at Jw Marriott the Brew house / coffe shop restaurant. Wonderful food. And the staff is very courteous and polite. Great service. We are came for specials celebrating My son birthday at JW. And I WOULD LIKE TO SPACIAL THANKS TO CHEF NIKHIL and entire team nicely prepared and served a wonderful meal for us.👏👏👏

Mediterranean restaurant
European restaurant
Cottage, located in Chandigarh, offers a delightful dining experience with its Mediterranean, European, and Fusion cuisine. The upscale cafe features outdoor dining with in-house cabanas and spacious open-air seating in a large courtyard. Its charming farmhouse-inspired design creates a warm and comfortable ambiance reminiscent of a British cottage. The rustic decor with gable roofs and stone walls adds to the cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for casual lunches or romantic dinners.
Yummy food!! Kids friendly restaurant, my toddler loved their Chicken Souvlaki and pizza. Quick service,Our server was also very attentive and checking multiple times if we needed any help. Beautiful decor in open space, you can definitely get some insta pictures with their lights decor in night. I highly recommend to check this place out.
Rupinder K — Google review
Coffee is good here, but the food is not up to the mark here. They should focus on cleanliness a little bit more as well. 1) We had cappuccino both caramel and hazelnut flavors. Coffee was good, but my coffee cup was not clean on the outside. I saw it afterward in the pics when i zoomed it and it looks like some bug type thing sticking on it. I am sure this type of thing we never expect from such an elite restaurant. 2) My friends had pasta and a few other food items here, which were tasteless and ordinary. 3) Obviously, prices are high here. The portion size is very small. 4) Staff is average here, not so much friendly. 5) Interior work is very impressive here, very innovative theme. Very cozy place and environment.
Sandeep S — Google review
Our order had mixed results: the quinoa falafel was delightful, but the Greek Pizza didn't quite hit the mark. Otherwise it is a nice, cozy place to visit for a date night.
ANMOL S — Google review
Disappointing experience! Food was below average. When it comes to staff , i guess that was also a bit off , everyone was busy with themselves, needs improvement in food quality and menu variety though the drink i tried was really good and talking about ambience it's nice and cozy and it's a one time go thing maybe because food quality is definitely compromised .
Sumyla S — Google review
It was a nice place, nice delicious food, 😋, menu is quite good, we tried lamb and humus it was very good lamb was juicy and tender, chicken and veggies were also good. Jaggery panacota was nice on flavours, but panacota was not that vobbaly. All in all, it's a good nice restaurant. 👍
Himanshu L — Google review
We (5) went there for lunch today. The ambience of the place is one of the best in tricity. The place is focused on Italian cuisine mostly. A complementary dish was first offered, which was a nice type of bread and tasty chutney. We tried Lamb Hummus (must try and was the best), veg and non veg pizzas (good), paneer snacks, mocktails, coffee, and chicken snacks. The portion size can be increased, considering the prices of the dishes.
Birinder S — Google review
Highly recommend, great customer service and the food is very nice and with the environment it’s very calming
Lawrence K — Google review
A great evening dining experience.... Superb ambience, silent place to catch up with friends. the food was awesome, the portion size is enough for one person. so while ordering the starters and drinks ensure to take less portion so that you enjoy the main course. Courteous and friendly staff members.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful Italian dining experience, look no further than Piccante, nestled within the luxurious Hyatt Regency in Chandigarh. This charming eatery boasts an inviting atmosphere where you can savor authentic Italian cuisine crafted by a talented head chef hailing from Italy. The menu is a treasure trove of flavors featuring everything from classic pizzas to delectable seafood dishes.
The place is calm and soothing! The staff was really good and courageous The food served was good and tasty! The drinks were fair, a bit icy! But overall a great experience
Eesha M — Google review
We have a Hyatt membership and every time we visit, it’s always a great experience. The staff is very warm and welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent. The food at Picante restaurant is also really good. A special mention to Anuj – his service and food suggestions are truly 5-star. Whenever we come here, we specifically prefer being served by him because he makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Anjum A — Google review
We were invited back after a horrible experience. On the second try Hyatt did everything in their power to make it a 5 star experience. I enjoyed the culinary talents of Chef Daniel from. Milan. His set menu of Italian cuisine was excellent. I particularly liked his lamb meatballs, pumpkin salad, ravioli, tortellini soup and profiteroles with chocolate sauce. All in all it was a much better experience than the first time. My only add is that this is the way you should always treat your guests.
Devinder M — Google review
We had a fantastic experience at the Chinese restaurant adjoining the Italian restaurant! Dishes from both can be ordered for. Excellent service, delicious food, and a serene ambience create a positive dining atmosphere. Tiramisu added a sweet touch. Overall, a highly recommended place.

We’re finally talking to you about one of our favourite topics that one can write about – Food! Apart from being as important as air or water, it nourishes us, and it also is a great source of fun and joy, right? Children enjoy their meals and fondly remember all their favourite foods, from a holiday special family recipe or something they eat at festivals or even birthday parties! It’s all around them and frankly, it’s all that they think about. Well, apart from toys, friends, and fun. Children are often asked to write about their favourite food in an essay as part of their school assignment. For this essay, they are expected to say which is their favourite food and why they like it. In a more descriptive essay, they can write where they ate it and other facts. Our country has a vast variety of foods, and each region has its own unique dishes. Everyone has different food preferences. One’s favourite food has a special place in their heart. So writing about it will make them feel good. When your child writes an essay on ‘My Favourite Food’ for classes 1, 2 or 3, they must first think and imagine several ideas that they can write about. This improves their thought process. Then they write those ideas in simple sentences. This activity lays their foundation in English grammar and improves their vocabulary and creative writing skills. Let us guide your child on how to write an essay on their favourite food!

North Indian restaurant
Indian restaurant
Dastaan is a refined restaurant in Chandigarh that specializes in serving elevated traditional North Indian dishes, particularly curry and rice meals. The upscale establishment offers a progressive take on authentic Indian and Mughlai cuisine, presenting classic dishes like Birbali Kofta and Tadka Vegetables in a unique way that plays with flavors and textures. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere with earthy hues and stylish decor, making it an ideal spot for family dining.
Well, I’ve visited this place twice, and I had a really good experience here. The food was very good. I tried Mushroom Tikka as a starter — it was quite nice. Paneer Tikka sounds the same everywhere to me. The Palak Patta Chaat was awesome. The Dal Makhani was good, and the Paneer Tikka Masala was much better. The Tandoori Roti could be improved — the size was small. Overall, this place is worth visiting. I would recommend it.
Saajan — Google review
The ambiance of the place is fantastic—stylish, comfortable, and well-designed. It creates a relaxing environment, making it an enjoyable dining experience. We tried a variety of non-veg starters, and they were exceptional! The chicken and prawns, in particular, stood out for their flavor and quality. These are definitely a highlight and something I would recommend. However, the non-veg main course didn’t meet the same standards. While the presentation was appealing, the taste was average and didn’t live up to expectations for a place like Dastaan. Perhaps more emphasis on seasoning and freshness could elevate the main course options. The vegetarian menu, both starters and main courses, was underwhelming. The flavors felt bland, and there wasn’t anything particularly memorable. Offering more vibrant and creative vegetarian options could significantly improve the experience for veg customers. This is something I hope the restaurant addresses soon, as it might alienate a key customer base. Mocktails were another area of disappointment. They were overly sweet, and the flavors felt unbalanced, making them difficult to enjoy. For example, a fresher approach with less sugar and more innovative combinations could transform the mocktail menu. A revamp in this section is highly recommended. Overall, I’d give this place 3 stars. The ambiance and non-veg starters are undoubtedly the strengths of the restaurant. However, the average main courses, lackluster vegetarian dishes, and subpar mocktails leave significant room for improvement. If these aspects are addressed, this could easily become a top-tier dining destination.
Prodeep C — Google review
Pretty popular restaurant. Would recommend reserving a table as it's very busy on the weekends. Street parking is available, but was very crowded. The ambience is good. Live instrumental music was playing and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The restaurant serves mainly North Indian fusion food. The presentation of the food is great, but the taste is average. The place works because of good service and presentation I guess.
Meenal G — Google review
Tried North Indian food here. It is what you’d expect. They served gravy separately over Paneer. Tried Shahi Paneer here. It was delicious and rich. Surprisingly not so heavy either without compromising on taste. Staff is very welcoming and nice without being in the way. Place was little empty as we came in the morning. So can’t compare on vibe with confidence, but the interiors are pretty up-class. A perfect place for relaxed lunch with family.
Manik S — Google review
Dastaan's aesthetics are way too beautiful. I mean the waterfall. The looks are so nature-y. Dining or spending time here can be so fruitful. The food is awesome. With a pinch of sweet creativity. The environment is soothing, peaceful. The hygiene is up to date Washrooms are quite spacious and clean. The lighting of the inside seating is quite low, though (needs improvement) Services are average. Paid spacious parking available. Go for it to experience a good dining experience.
Prachi J — Google review
The overall vibe of the place is quite good, especially for a family outing, even though they also have a bar counter alongside the main restaurant. The staff was polite and courteous. We were welcomed with a complimentary Pani Puri dish, which was a nice touch. In starters, we tried the Palak Patta Chaat and Malayi Paneer Tikka. The paneer stood out—soft, rich, and truly fulfilling. For the main course, we had their signature Dal Dastaani (Special Dal Makhani) along with rotis. The dal was creamy, flavorful, and lived up to the restaurant’s reputation. To end the meal, we opted for the Paan Ice Cream, which had just the right balance of refreshing flavors and a hint of saffron, making it a memorable finish. The only drawback is the limited parking space. Even on a weekday, we were lucky to find a spot; weekends might be trickier. Overall, a satisfying dining experience with delicious North Indian food and warm service.

Italian restaurant
Nestled along the Geri route in Chandigarh, Casa Bella Vista is a delightful pizzeria that promises an authentic Italian dining experience. With its enchanting garden seating adorned with twinkling fairy lights and a cozy indoor area featuring a live pizza counter, this eatery offers the perfect ambiance for enjoying delicious wood-fired pizzas. The menu extends beyond pizzas to include traditional Italian dishes such as lasagna, pasta, risotto, and crepes, complemented by an array of teas and coffees.
Casa Bella Vista cafe in sector 10, Chandigarh, was a lovely dining experience. The ambiance was exquisitely beautiful and cozy, and the service was remarkably exceptional. The food portions were generous. We selected the menu, which included Glassy Noodles, Pasta Quattro Formaggi ( Creamy four cheese pasta), Red Ravioli Pesto, Half Half Farmhouse, and Margherita Pizza.

🌿 Casa Bella Vista Café has a cozy, European-style vibe with lush outdoor seating. 🍕 Famous for wood-fired pizzas, green ravioli & Italian vegetarian dishes. ☕ Perfect for relaxed dates or coffee catch-ups, though a bit pricey. ⚠️ Service and portion sizes can be hit or miss—come for the ambience!
Manish R — Google review
This place has such a lovely ambience – really gives off those cozy European vibes. The staff was polite and welcoming, which made the experience better. The food was okayish, not exceptional but decent. What really stood out for me was the playlist – the background music is just perfect and adds a great charm to the whole atmosphere. A nice spot if you’re looking for good vibes and a relaxed evening.

This was my second visit to the restaurant. I loved the 1st visit. The food was delicious and had amazing tiramisu. Recommended it to so many people after the 1st visit. I am so much disappointed in the recent visit. The food was pretty okayish. The Alfredo pasta signature of casa bella vista was sour. The sauce wasn't good at all. The tiramisu didn't meet the expectations (however that is what i literally went back to this restaurant for). The farmhouse pizza was good. It has a good ambience and vibe. However the food is just average. Good here for the vibe and ambience.

This trendy establishment offers a delightful fusion of pan-Asian cuisine, featuring an impressive array of dishes from succulent dumplings and baos to innovative sushi platters. The ambiance is chic, characterized by striking black and white decor that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.
A tastefully designed restrobar in Chandigarh, offering ample seating and an impressive menu with a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The beverage selection caters well to both alcohol enthusiasts and teetotalers alike. We visited to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in a stylish setting. Note: The surrounding area can feel a bit unsafe at night, as it's relatively isolated and not located near residential neighborhoods.

If you're looking for an aesthetically place to hangout at, sure go for it. The food is decent. You won't be blown away but you also won't be disappointed. We ordered Noodles and soup dumplings. While the noodles were good, the dumplings had something soooo off about them. We had seen videos on how the soup dumplings should be and this was not it. The place it itself was very pretty tho. You could get yourself some really good pictures and the table placing is enough for you to catch your private moments with friends and family without the other table hanging over your head. Quite expensive but then again, it's due to the ambience they provide.

Overall the place has good vibes with good food. The place is easily approachable by road has ample parking space. The only thing missing is good staff. The staff was loud and sitting on table scrolling reels . The overall experience would have been 5 star

Dimsum Magic & a “Complan-t” About Hot Chocolate! 😆 Visited TIN TIN, known for its amazing Pan-Asian food, so of course, I had to try their Thin Sheet Veg (Edamame Truffle Cheese) Dimsum—and trust me, these were hands down one of the best in Chandigarh! Served with 5 types of sauces, each bite was a flavor bomb. 🌟🥢 Since the weather was chilly, I thought a Hot Chocolate would be the perfect cozy fix… but turns out, it tasted more like Complan! 😅 Not my cup of cocoa, but hey, at least the quantity was generous. 🤷‍♀️ Apart from the food, the ambiance is aesthetic—a perfect spot for a date or a chill hangout with friends. But beware, it’s high on the pocket! 💸 Pro tip: Pay via Swiggy and score some discounts—I got a sweet 20% off! 😏 Dimsum—10/10 ✅ Hot Chocolate—Stick to Pan-Asian, folks! 😆

Overall: Tintin used to be a favorite, but the quality has seriously dropped — both in food and service. Been here five times, but the recent visit was a letdown. Reservation Issue: Despite reserving a table an hour in advance and specifying it was for dinner, we were given a table in the smoking area — without being asked or informed. Not okay. Ambience & Service: We were seated in a dim corner and left in the dark for 10 minutes before they brought a table lamp. Staff was inattentive throughout, and it was frustrating trying to get their attention. Drinks & Food: My drink came with a fly in it. They did replace it after apologizing. Food was slow and average, not the standout experience it used to be. Final Word: If you’re going for Asian food and chill vibes, Tintin still has the space — but don’t expect the same quality or attentiveness as before. Disappointed. Please do better.

I’ve been to Hops n Grains a few times now, and every visit just confirms why it’s one of my favorite spots in the Tricity. The vibe here is relaxed yet lively — perfect for both a chilled-out evening or a celebration with friends. The beer is honestly the star of the show. Fresh, smooth, and brewed right — you can taste the difference. My personal favorite is their wheat beer, but every brew I’ve tried here has been on point.

Black Lotus, located in the Taj Hotel Chandigarh, offers an upscale dining experience with a Pan-Asian flair. The restaurant features a diverse menu of authentic dishes from Thailand, Japan, Korea, and China, prepared using traditional cooking methods and recipes. Renowned for their pre-plated specials, dim sums, Peking duck, and signature teas.
Lovely Resturant inside Taj hotel. Excellent food and friendly and attentive service. There was live music as well which was a nice touch. The singer sang some popular songs very well. Highly recommend if you’re in Taj or are in vicinity.

Excellent restaurant. Always been our favorite!! Prawns Dimsum, Crispy Lamb, Hakka chicken noodles were all 10/10 Best Chinese restaurant hands down in the city beautiful. Will be back!! Feedback on Wine: we hope someone can fix the wine selection so one can order a nice wine. We looked at a Rs 12,000 ($150) Campo Viejo 2021 Rioja / rated a mere mediocre 3.7 star on Vivino available for $8 internationally with a MSRP in Rupees of 1,554 ($18). Felt 8x mark up from local pricing for an ordinary and poor rated wine was illogical. Why would anyone pay $150 + almost 30% and not even be wowed by a great wine say that costs 40 Euro. Note that this was the second best red of the menu!! Food was impeccable and service was wonderful. Met the chef and expressed our gratitude on great food we had. We also enjoyed Shruti's singing. Excellent choice of songs and great voice!!

Food that’s lightly flavourful and extremely light on the stomach. A good variety of starters and main course. We missed the live music that they had a couple of months back. Wish they start it again. The presentation requires some aesthetic upgrades though
Nirveen — Google review
Black Lotus has recently opened its door after a brief haitus for a couple of months. The interiors have been overhauled and the menu has undegone a complete revamp for the better. The Menu has been intelligently desinged. All the Veg Starters are pegged at the same price of Rs. 575 and for Non Veg it is Rs. 675. It's the same for the Veg Main Dishes at Rs. 575 while the Non Veg dishes stand at Rs. 775. These prices are extremely affordable and Pocket Friendly and no less than a treat as its a Five Star. We began our evening with Asparagus, Haricot Beans and Corn Soup which was delectable. For Drinks we had Pinee Peach (Peach and Pineapple Juice), Mango Marina (Mango Puree' and twist of mint, Sweet and Sour - this was a complete Winner and a must try), Guava Marry, Watermelon Reference (Watermelon, Lime and Pomegranate Juice), Apple Ryder (Apple Juice with the hint of Smoky Cinnamon), Flavoured Jasmine Tea, Sichuaniska (Mixture of Sichuan Sauce with a hint of Pepper). Moving to Starters we had Mushroom & Bamboo Shoots Salad, Lemon Grass Prawn, Pan Fried Lamb Dim Sum, Grilled Sesame Tofu (comes with a Live Flaming Grill, Must try for the Vegetarians). Each dish was fresh, unique and stood out. Then came the Peking Duck which deserves a speical mention as it a whole meal in itself. Chef Wong came to our table and carved the Roasted Duck right in front us. It is quite a ceremony to watch the Carving of the Peking Duck. The Duck is then served as (a) Roasted Duck Pancakes served with classical accompaniments, (b) Duck Soup and (c) Stir Fried Duck. This is a signature Black Lotus Dish and a must try. We were in for a treat with another signature Black Lotus dish i.e. The Hot Pot.This is a prepare your own Soup/Broth where all the fresh ingredients (Seafood Broth with Prawns, Sole Fish Slices, Chinese Vegetables and Noodles) are placed on the table with a Live simmering Water to Prepare the broth according to your liking. This was a big hit amongst everyone. Moving to the Main Course we had Barbeque Pork Belly (the best Pork Ribs in the tricity hands down, the pork melts in your mouth and the sweet meat is a delicacy, must try), Steamed Fish with Black Bean Sauce (The Black Bean Sauce with the Black Pepper seeds creates a unique flavour), Chicken with Toban Djan Sauce, Egg Plant with Spicy Bean Sauce (I'm not an Eg plant fan but this dish has the capability to compete with the best of Non Veg preparations), Mung Bean Pan Cake with Chicken, Clay Pot Jasmine Rice with Tofu (extremely good), Bok Choy & Vegetables, Egg Wrapped Flat Noodles (Full points on the presentation as the Rice/Noodles come wrapped in an Omlette much like an Egg) with Vegetables and Chicken. Moving to Desserts we had Lava Cake (treat for the senses), Clove Traingle Pineapple with Sweet Chili & Coconut Milk (quite good), Vanilla Ice Cream. I am Bowled over by the Black Lotus Taj experience. I Love finding faults and I'm glad to admit here I found none. A full 5/5 from me. Go and experience the new Black Lotus for yourself.

Attended the Chinese new year feast few days ago. They had a variety of appetizers, main course dishes that did justice to the celebration of the new year. Black lotus is best place for trying seafood. I loved the grilled pomfret, oats prawn, sliced chicken with chilli and vodka. In the main course, I loved the chicken, squid and manchurian. Other items were good too though.they also serve a mango based palate cleanser before the main course which is amazing. Lastly, we were served dutch truffle chocolate cake with bitter chocolate sauce.

Visiting a place where we get a memorable and exciting experience is like a wish come true. I recently visited The Taj and had some of the best dishes at their restaurant. Their Asian style chilly chicken which was cooked with coriander, red chilli offcourse and some spring onion, is a must have. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the spring onions complimented the coriander perfectly. The Asian style vegetables had fried brocolli, baby corn cooked with chili sauce. Really fresh and steaming veggies tasted amazing with perfect amount of seasonings. The Veg Dimsums which had a filling of spinach, garlic and cheddar cheese was something that I still crave for. Soft and juicy with perfectly seasoned filling. The Chicken hot pot made my visit their a worthwhile. It had sliced chicken with Chinese vegetables and noodles steaming in chicken broth. For the dessert part, I tried the Lava cake and the Date pancake. Because pancakes arent just for breakfast! It is my personaly favourite!

The Chinese cuisine at Taj has to be talked about as soon as possible! Ever since I have set on my quest to find great food, it was seldom that the big beautiful restaurants were able to satisfy the hunger I had for good food, I was proved wrong. The food is hits the right chords at the right places while the hospitality is everything I never knew I needed. The interiors aren’t loud and gently whisper in your ear the story of great food to come; and it does come indeed! For appetizer or the Amuse Bouche, we were served Cucumber, gari, basil and asparagus and oh man did it tickle the right places in my stomach! I was more than ready for the food to come! The soup had a nice savoury flavor and felt so right in my mouth. The starters were as perfect as they looked. We got: Kanjee Fried Shitake Wok Tossed lotus stem in hot black bean sauce Pan fried fish with ginger and coriander Chicken tai chin Unbelievably amazing! The herbs and the spices were right everywhere! The Main course had us right by our gullet and we never wanted it to stop coming! Beautiful preparation and equally well tasting food. For main course we had: Mapo Tofu Eggplant Haricot beans and fresh chilli ginger Panfried cheese greens Stir fried chicken with toban dijan sauce Wok fried fish with fresh chili oyster sauce Ginger fried rice Vegetable hakka noodles And a melange of pineapple chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream for dessert And yes I tried it all! There is no word to describe my experience as it all was beyond what I thought it could be. I just want them to continually and constantly keep up the quality of the food. Special shout out to Mohit with his great hospitality and his amazing way of pouring the soul stirring Jasmine tea! A serious 5 star to Taj and an all the best from my side!

This eatery has gained legendary status among locals for its authentic local cuisine and satisfying ambiance. Known for serving finger-licking Punjabi dishes, it offers a nostalgic hit of the 90s with its renowned Sizzlers. The restaurant's elegant interior and excellent staff add to the overall dining experience.
Really good food, generous portions and good service. All the food was delicious and served with care and a smile. Very happy and highly recommend this place for authentic Indian food. The chicken biriyani was delicious and full of flavour. Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken curry as well. Lacha parantha was soft inside and crispy outside and paneer was really delicious.

Nice cosy vibes at this restaurant with Jagjit singh Ghazals playing in the background. Multicuisine restaurant serving Indian, Chinese, sizzlers, tea and coffee along with alcohol and mocktails. Mr. Kulveer Singhji was very attentive, kind and gave suggestions knowing that I'm the only one eating.. he was very helpful and heeded to my customizations on my tea. The restaurant is located on ground floor of bridge market in sector 17 chandigarh. Currently undergoing renovation in phases but they have ample space and classy interiors. The service is good and the food is good too. I had the mutton kheema Naan which comes with gravy and the chicken spring roll. The naan had 4 big pieces with generous filling of kheema. This itself would've been enough for a single person but I wanted to take some parcel so ordered the spring roll. Had my tea craving satiated with the delicious ginger tea made as per my instructions. Definitely recommend going here solo, family and in groups.

And just a side note, do try the Dal Makhni here... It is absolutely brilliant. Also tried the tandoori chicken once and it was so flavorful, charred on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly spiced, not too hot. This place is one of the culinary giants of the city. There are variety of food options,in non veg. If you're an animal eater, you can opt for so much. I didn't find much veg options. There but limited. I guess they can be creative with the menu. Apart from that there should be some snack options too. Apart from maida, chineese There must be some north indian stuff too or some street crispy bites. We had kathi roll and chana kulcha. Mediterranean vibes and aesthetically pleasing. Good variety though portions are a little small for the price. Good taste and presentation. Service needs to improve though as waiters were a bit casual and didn’t get the veg and non veg options together, so vegetarians had to wait to start eating while the non veg ones had almost finished their portions. There were some spillages also while being served. The cocktails are highly recommended

Don't get me wrong. This is REALLY good food and I totally enjoy the Olives experience. Yet they get 3 stars. Why I hear you ask... Well when I asked for a vegan pizza the chef actually comes and tells me that he cannot do it because they have limited batches of vegan cheese which they use for lasagna and they are reserving the vegan cheese for the lasagna orders. That ... Was pretty insulting. However all the other food we had was just brilliant and you shouldn't let my 3 star review stop you from going to an Olives to have the truly great food they serve. Go there and enjoy - just don't ask them for stuff they can easily do to delight their customers. Stock to the menu and you will have a 5 star experience. AD - I hope you somehow manage to read this review 😀

I recently had the pleasure of dining at olive bar and cafe, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The Mediterranean flavors were truly vibrant and authentic. The chicken skewers were cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. The black rice was a wonderful, nutty accompaniment, and the hummus was incredibly smooth and flavorful. It was a well-balanced and satisfying dish! Also the spinach and mushroom pizza was a standout. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. It's clear that high-quality ingredients are a priority. Overall, the greek cuisine ambience of the cafe was lovely, and the service was excellent. I left feeling completely satisfied and impressed with the quality of the food. I'll definitely be recommending your restaurant to friends and family, and I look forward to returning soon.

Nestled in a cozy corner of Sector 7, Caffe Sicily is a hidden gem that has captured the hearts of many locals and visitors alike. This charming Italian eatery specializes in authentic Neapolitan pizzas, crafted with care using traditional San Marzano tomatoes and delightful pesto sauce. I was delightfully surprised to have such a good quality pizza in Chandigarh. Hands down one of the best wood oven pizzas in the city. The food was great in my opinion, worthy of 4 stars. But the tiramisu was the show stopper. It was one of the best tiramisu’s I’ve ever had! So I slipped in an extra star for food. The service was mediocre, not good, not bad. The atmosphere was as if I were in small coffee shop (but bigger) in Italy waiting for my espresso. The restaurant had a warm and homely atmosphere, great for not too big families!

I only go to Cafe Sicily for one thing: the tiramisu, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Easily the best I’ve had anywhere. The portion has gotten smaller over time, but it’s still perfect for two people looking to share something light and sweet. The service is great too- the waiter already knows our order before we even sit down. If you’re a tiramisu lover, definitely check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

The Skylight Garden is a luxurious dining destination that promises to tantalize your taste buds with an impressive array of cuisines, including Italian, North Indian, Asian, Chinese, and Mughlai. Located within the stylish Fern Residency in Chandigarh's Industrial Area, this restaurant offers a delightful menu featuring mouthwatering appetizers like Allahabadi bharwan aloo and fish Amritsari. Guests can also indulge in a variety of salads, soups, pizzas, pastas, and Asian dishes.
The food at The Skylight Garden was tasty, and the ambiance was nice. There were some delays with orders at night, but overall it’s a good place to visit and worth recommending. Prices are a bit high, yet fair for a 3‑star restaurant. Thank you.

Hosted my birthday party at this amazing place. Nice ambience and awesome food. I did not like the service and we got each food order 20-25 minutes late. The waiter was good but was not enough for 15 people. The veg platter has less servings and while paying the bill the manager was rude also. We had fun but the experience would have been better with the service. Anyway overall it is a nice place and the food presentation is also amazing.

Ambience and food are great. Veg kebab platter and thai green curry are a must try. Kala khatta mocktail was amazing. Very poor service by a female server, staff should be taught to smile instead of frown at a simple request of changing plates.

Went for our anniversary dinner during our trip to India. Nice place to dine in with good service and food. It was a week day therefore it was just us two dining plus a birthday event was going on but I am sure it would be even a better place to dine out during a busy evening!

Swagath stands out as a culinary gem in the bustling restaurant scene of Chandigarh, making it a go-to destination for families and food enthusiasts alike. With its elegant interiors and warm, inviting atmosphere, this establishment offers an exceptional dining experience that feels both sophisticated and homely. The menu is a delightful blend of North Indian and South Indian cuisines, showcasing authentic flavors that are sure to please any palate.
⸻ I always end up at Swagath whenever I visit Elante — because honestly, pasta and pizza just don’t sit well with me 😕😥. But their combo menu😋😊 Absolutely mast! I love it! ❤️ My family and I are obsessed with their Swagath dal, crispy corn, chilli cauliflower, biryani, khumb do pyaza, Manchurian, and that comforting ghar wali dal — total favourites! The ambiance is great, vibe is warm, and the quality & hygiene are top-notch. Highly recommend if you’re craving good food with desi , North Indian , Chinese flavours! 👌✨

Had a good dining experience at Swagath. The food was delicious. Service although good, could be improved. The ambience is pretty good. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of food can justify the prices. Overall a nice lunch.
Aromal C — Google review
Swagath restaurant has lost its charm! During 2010 it used to be one of the best of the best. Chicken Hot & Sour soup was good. Never knew afgani chicken is all cooked in cream and white in color! Ordered Hyderabadi Biriyani but got the worst Moradabadi Biriyani! Prawan garlic noodles were all a disaster, tasteless, fried hard to chew prawns! The manager listened but said this is the only way they prepare Hyderabadi Biriyani, ridiculous! But he suggested some replacement, I asked for Alu Gobi masala & Butter nan which was good. Thanks to Mr Lawrence & Anil for their understanding but they need to be serious enough for the way they prepare the dishes. Hopefully they might be serving good south Indian delicacies!
Dr B — Google review
Had a great experience at Swagath. Great customer service, massive menu, not joking they literally have a huge booklet. Takes some time to think what one wants to order. Though everything was perfect. Ordered veg kebab, Afghani chicken and paneer makhani. All of it was just perfect. It's served, or self service whatever you prefer. The food is served in quick succession so you are not left waiting either. The only downside would be the prices, a single butter roti costs like rupees 65 which is quite high, which is something even the great taste can't justify. All in all a satisfying experience except for the hit on my wallet. A must try if you like high end restaurants. Would definitely love to try the other items on my next trip to North India.

Food was good, but over priced. Methi malayi matar was very tasty. Ambience was okayish, seating was set too close. Waiting place was intruding into the sitting area.

Lata P — Google review
The experience was far from satisfying. The food was below average, lacking both taste and quality. The service was utterly disappointing — slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. Given the overall experience, it definitely didn’t feel like value for money. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It was a Saturday afternoon when we we visited Elante mall. Expectedly there was huge crowd there. More so in food court area. There were big lines on the counters of self service outlets and also long waiting for restaurants entrances. Fortunately for us, Swagath restaurant had a few tables available. We had visited Swagath restaurants at other locations including Madhya Marg, Sector 26, Chandigarh and we were sure of their food and service quality. We ordered Malai kofta and Dal makhani. The service was slow due to overcrowding but we got our food and came out happily.

I had a truly pleasant experience at the hotel. The Resident Manager Mr.kapoor personally came to meet me, which was such a thoughtful gesture. He was extremely nice, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. His warm welcome and genuine concern for the guest experience made me feel valued and well taken care of. This kind of personal attention really sets the hotel apart and shows their strong commitment to excellent service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just comfort, but also outstanding hospitality. Thanks to all the Lalit Chandigarh team as well thanks to the front office team 👍

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Lalit hotel, and I was impressed with several aspects. The rooms are notably spacious, which added to the comfort of stay. The large glass windows provided a great view, enhancing the overall ambiance of the room. The food quality was exceptional, with each dish being both delicious and satisfying. I particularly appreciated the taste and presentation. The hotel's location is also a significant advantage, being close to the IT park and within walking distance of the cinema theatre. This made it convenient for both work and leisure activities. Overall, my experience at the Lalit hotel was positive, and I would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable stay with good amenities.

Dear Lalit Chandigarh Team, We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks for making our recent stay truly memorable. Every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. All our requests were graciously accommodated—our room was upgraded to a beautiful forest view, early check-in was seamlessly arranged, and the thoughtful touches of cake, cookies, and fresh fruits in the room made the birthday celebration extra special. The breakfast spread was impressive, and both the room and pool were impeccably clean. Your team’s warm hospitality and attention to detail made our visit unforgettable. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. We look forward to returning soon! Thanks!!

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at The Lalit. The room sizes are big and amenities are plenty. Thanks to Komal, Sreejan and Aprila for a quick and friendly check-in and check-out experience.
Mayura S — Google review
Sorry to say but I am disappointed, every room was foul smelling like seepage or low maintenance, I had to swap room but it was no better. For such a prestigious hotel I didn't expect things like that. What I understood was that small was due to over done wooden work in side and outside the rooms caused seepage smell during monsoon season. So dehumidifier should be installed in the building and also better ventilation system can be helpful.
Animesh S — Google review
I had the pleasure of staying at The Lalit. Overall, it was an okay hotel for the price—everything was clean, including the bathrooms, which I appreciated. However, a few things really disappointed me. First, the hallway smelled awful, which left a bad impression right away. Second, the breakfast buffet was poorly managed. Their buffet is supposed to start at 7( as we were told by the front desk), but when we went down at 7:15 (as we had a flight to catch to Mumbai), the setup was still incomplete. No fresh food was prepared except the bread and cereals. In India, chai is a must-have in the morning, but the hot beverage counter wasn’t even open yet. When I asked the staff member about the parathas, he simply replied, “No, not yet,” without making any effort to get the station ready. our taxi was already waiting outside. We didn’t have much time to wait around for them to finally prepare breakfast, which made the situation even more frustrating. I feel the staff should be much more punctual and considerate, especially for guests traveling early. This lack of readiness was a letdown after an otherwise decent stay.

Well i order or dine regularly since pashtun was Khyber but today I am very much disappointed with an issue which I would like to get in notice with the owner! Today i ordered a butter chicken and while payment i came to know that the price is being increased. That happened many times in past, not an issue and completely understandable but the quantity I've received is almost reduced close to half! And when I tried to call the restaurant, nobody responded properly

Dining at Pashtun Restaurant in Chandigarh was a memorable experience! The food was absolutely amazing — rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and authentically satisfying. Every bite felt like a celebration of North Indian cuisine. The ambiance added a lovely traditional touch, and even though the service was a bit slow, it was understandable as the place was quite busy. I’d suggest they consider hiring a few more staff to enhance the overall experience. That said, the team was polite and did their best to manage everything with grace. Truly a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates good food with a traditional vibe. I’d happily come back again!

"I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was slow and unprofessional, and the food quality was far below expectations. The dishes were neither fresh nor flavorful, and the overall hygiene also seemed lacking. Considering the price, the experience was not worth it at all. I would not recommend this place to others." The food was bland and cold, service was rude and unhelpful, and the restaurant was unhygienic. Definitely the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. I will not be returning. Waiter behavior was so bad 😑 Considering the price, the quality was not worth it at all. I used to really like this place until I ordered the raan. It smelled awful, like the meat was wrongfully sourced and then it was over spiced to hide that fact. I ate some of it and felt something wrong. With the beer while I ended up eating more.. I felt really yucky whole evening. Felt awful about paying so much for such a disastrous lunch. It was our first time at this place, me and my cousins went there. We ordered pizza, cold coffee, and nacho platter. They platter was allright, cold coffees were good but we didn’t like the pizza. We felt like the pizza was overdone so that the crust was way too crispy. We spoke with the server he explained that this is how we cook and its a pita base not a fresh dough pizza. I would expect for such a nice place to have options for crusts however he agreed to replace it so ended up having another platter. We had to wait for the platter to come, it was average like any other platter also by the time it came we weren’t even hungry. The vibe of the place is nice, i went on my mom’s recommendation. I would try it again to see if this place can meet up my expectations next time.🌸🌸

I want to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation through Zomato today and when I arrived, they refused to honor the Zomato reservation and denied giving the 10% discount, stating that they don’t accept Zomato reservations at all. This was not only confusing but extremely frustrating and felt very unprofessional. Despite this, we decided to stay and have our dinner there, not wanting to ruin our weekend. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve. We ordered a Penne Alfredo and a cappuccino, but when the food arrived, we were served a non-vegetarian cookie without any prior mention that it contained animal products. We were initially told it was eggless, but after asking another staff member, we found out it actually contained eggs. Even after pointing out their mistake, the staff blamed us for not asking beforehand, completely ignoring the fact that it was their responsibility to inform us about the ingredients, especially since it wasn’t marked as vegetarian or non-vegetarian on the menu. The lack of transparency on the menu about whether items were vegetarian or non-vegetarian in the dessert section was very disappointing, when some items were labeled as "best sellers" but not veg and non-veg. This made the experience feel unfair and unethical. Additionally, the washroom was in an awful condition — it smelled terrible and was totally unhygienic, which made the overall experience even worse. The staff was unhelpful and rude throughout the entire visit, and when we raised our concerns, they refused to accept responsibility for their errors. It was truly a frustrating experience, and we won’t be returning. We ordered two flavored cappuccinos and a Penne Alfredo, and our total bill came to about 1300, which honestly, felt like a poor value given the service and quality. The washroom smelt horrible.

Went here, Christmas eve, hence the vibes looked really cool & awesome. But the food is disappointing, average to be honest. And the service is POOR. Literally the vibes let me sit here for this long especially because it was Christmas eve. Ordered a Tandoori Sizzler Veg, a falafel with hummus (with Pita) and a Bun Bhaji. The sizzler was okayish, the Brocolli was ZERO, literally ZERO percent grilled. It seemed like a boiled 🥦 in a SIZZLER. And on mentioning the same, the staff replied "Can't grill too much or else it'll break" Staff ain't well trained, service is tooooo slow even when they didn't have enough people on a Christmas eve too, I wonder what would happen if it is sold out. Falafel was good, but the Pita & hummus, very average. Then the Bun Bhaji, I thought it'll be something like a Bhaji as in Pav Bhaji but it was a horrible, tasteless, bland mix of veggies as in Mix vegetable. All in all, very average food, poor service (Very slow), less trained staff. I'd rate this 3 out of 5.
Dream D — Google review
During the weekend, my family and I decided to try Cafe JC's in Sector 10, known for its continental dishes. We had high hopes for the experience, but it fell a bit short of our expectations. We ordered three dishes: Exotic Sauteed Vegetables with Quinoa: We found this dish to be quite dry. The vegetables and quinoa were cooked well, but the overall dish lacked moisture, and we were expecting it to be served with some type of sauce to enhance the flavor and texture. Without a sauce, it felt incomplete and not as enjoyable as it could have been. Grilled Chicken Breast: This dish was a disappointment. The chicken breast was very tight and tough to chew. We were hoping for a tender, juicy piece of chicken, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. The seasoning was decent, but the texture made it hard to enjoy. Chicken Florentine: Unfortunately, this dish had the same issue as the grilled chicken breast. The chicken was again too tight and difficult to chew, especially for my 9-year-old son. The flavors were good, but the tough chicken detracted from the overall experience. Despite these issues, there were some positive aspects. The ambiance of Cafe JC's is pleasant, and the staff were courteous and attentive. However, the quality of the dishes, particularly the texture of the chicken, needs improvement. Given our experience, I would rate Cafe JC's 3 out of 5 stars. There's potential for a better dining experience with some adjustments to the preparation of their dishes.

Came here twice in November 2023. The food was 'OKAY' (both Indian and other international cuisines), the staff was friendly, the interior decor was nice especially the outdoor seating and the music made up an amazing vibe to the whole concept - A little bit on higher price considering the food taste and portion. The Brew Estate was a great overall experience. The party ordered both the meat and veggie platters, along with a cheeky portion of crispy corn to share around. The meat platter was a real treat juicy, well-spiced, and served with a generous helping of onions that packed a punch. Full marks for flavour and presentation. The veggie platter, I'm told by my herbivorous compadres, went down an absolute storm not a morsel left behind, which says it all really. As for the crispy corn, spot on. Crunchy, golden, and dangerously moreish. The beer... Smooth, full-bodied, and perfectly chilled A lovely pint, indeed. All in all, a cracking spot with good vibes, great grub, and even better beer. Wouldn’t hesitate to swing by again.

Decent taste. Very reasonably priced. Although Buffet is not very exhaustive. Just 3 veg snacks and bhalla pari. In main course dal makhani paneer were good and so was palak kofta. Deserts had mainly mithai of 3-4 types, ice creams and dal halwa. Cakes/pudding or mouses etc were missing. Overall good value for money

Their service is like sloths. Very slow very average. A strand of hair was found in missi roti. The snacks were below average. We tried spinach spring roll which was bland and served cold. Their paneer cheese kebab had stuffing of a paneer parantha. And staff was full of attitude. The time period between serving two snacks was almost 30 minutes. Won’t recommend this.

Starters were the best part in the restaurent. Atmosphere is cozy and good for get together. U will get 6 starters here in veg. Soup of two types. Main course includes all kinds of breads like lacha parantha ,missi roti, butter naan etc. In Dessert u will have hot gulab jamun with ice cream, fresh fruits. Also open bar is also here. Overall its a good restaurent.

The overall ambiance of the restaurant is quite attractive. The buffet, both veg n non- veg is quite worth the charges put. The food tastes amazing. The staff is cooperative and well behaved. The cleanliness is at par. It’s just that may be due to weekend rush, they were so busy that our table was waitered after around 10 minutes of arrival. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Victorian ambiance, Chinese to try, service is like a club. My first impression is like walking into a golf club, or Tea cafe in Mumbai or the restaurant in Connaught Place. All of us wanted to eat Chinese, it was worth it - 3 dishes between 4 people, and there was still left to carry in doggy bag. We asked the waiter, if is going to be spicy and he gave the right amount spicy amount The service was impeccable like that of English Tea serving places, where they serve tea with dolly on a senior defence officer canteen. Would definitely recommend for family get togethers.

A food heaven for vegetarian people. I loved the fetta salad and the lovely cigar rolls. Whenever I see cigar rolls on any restaurant's menu, I order them immediately because I am always looking for lip smacking cigar rolls and this place totally nails it.

City Cabana is a rooftop eatery in Chandigarh that offers a leafy garden-style ambiance. It serves Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine. The restaurant provides a mesmerizing view of the city skyline, making it an ideal spot for al fresco dining under the stars. Situated in the heart of the city, City Cabana is perfect for unwinding after a tiring day at work. It boasts contemporary designs, soothing music, and a small pond that enhances its overall charm.
The City Cabana offers a delightful rooftop dining experience in the heart of Chandigarh, with a cozy ambiance and beautiful views of Sector 17. During our visit, we ordered two cappuccinos, which were well-prepared and enjoyable. However, we were a bit disappointed to learn that coffee latte wasn’t on the menu, which is something they could consider adding for coffee enthusiasts. Overall, the service was prompt, and the staff were courteous, enhancing the dining experience. The ambiance is perfect for casual outings or relaxed evenings. While there’s room for improvement in the beverage selection, it’s definitely a place worth visiting for the vibe and the overall quality of food and drinks.
Dr L — Google review
Located atop with a mesmerizing rooftop setting, this resto-bar offers an ambiance that truly enhances the dining experience. The affordability of their alcohol selection is a definite plus. However, the service falls short, with staff lacking knowledge about the menu. We tried the Paneer butter Masala that stands out as excellent, perfectly complementing the garlic Naan. Unfortunately, the Dal Makhani failed to meet expectations. The Irani mushroom starter and Chilly chicken dry, on the other hand, were a delightful treat. While the food may be somewhat above average overall, the vibrant atmosphere compensates for any culinary shortcomings, creating an overall enjoyable experience.

Its a great place to hang out with friends and family. The music, ambience couches all good. Price is also not too high and roof top as well. You enjoy every single minute of your stay over there. Service is also good and they do provide complimentary peanuts as well. One must go there once and enjoy .

The place is open and chilling cold. The sitting is very uncomfortable. Went for a birthday party and they charge recklessly and unbelievably high for the food items not mentioned in the menu. The food was ok. But it was not a good experience for me. I didnt like the place at all.

This is a rooftop restaurant at hotel city heart premium sector 17 Chandigarh. The ambience is very nice as compare to other rooftop restaurants. On weekends the place is packed with people so I recommend you to book a table earlier. Food is nice. I recommend you to try chicken Malai tikka. Drinks are on a bit pricey, especially the pint of beer. Otherwise, the ambiance as well as the staff is great. They organise live performances also, you can check it by contacting them. At the end, I recommend this place.
Parul T — Google review
Great Food, Excellent Service, servicing the table is outstanding. But one thing that was not up to the mark is washrooms.washroom are not clean and good. The dryers in the washrooms are not working and smelling. The rooftop is nice. Careful with the food which are not included in the hotel menu they charge as per their convenience mostly higher than the menu items.

A perfect place to have food. The most attractive thing is the roof top, where you can take feel of the breeze as well as music. Set at roof top this place is best at night time. The quantity and the quality both are awesome. Chicken biryani is a must try. Visit this this place is a must.

The rooms are spacious and aesthetically built. Infrastructure is well maintained. However, servers are not trained and under staff. Swimming pool was not manned by the staff. Pool had allegi and dirty. Guests wore plain clothes with shirts and pants inside the pool. Surrounding area was wet, making it risky. Breakfast buffet was limited and not as per standard. However, regular food are good.

I recently stayed at Ramada and mentioned my Wyndham Rewards BLUE Member ID #512349465K during check-in on July 27 2025, as instructed by the front desk staff. I also confirmed this again at checkout July 29 2025 with Front desk Lady staff that points would be credited by next day. However, the points have not been credited to my account, which is disappointing, especially as a frequent business traveler who relies on these benefits. Additionally, I noticed the restaurant staff during breakfast hours were not attentive and seemed more engaged in personal conversations. Morning service is a critical time for business travelers, and timely service is expected. I request prompt resolution regarding the missing points and hope improvements are made in breakfast service. Thank you.

Excellent hotel. Especially the price I got on MMT Biz. Very good food, and polite staff. Hotel structure seems to begetting old and is in need of major overhaul. Had a two day stay here and it was nothing but disappointing, particularly due to one individual Arvind who works as a valet with the property, he is one of the rudest individual i have come across in many years across different sectors in the hospitality industry. If a hotel guest is walking on hotel grounds, how does a valet have the rights to continuously honk even when the entire road is vacant, when asked the response was nothing but rude, with a clear attitude of go tell the Manager i don’t care. Other downside is the general poor room maintenance.

Here are my observations: 1. The food served was good but too spicy. Had to get it re-prepared as per our taste 2. The waiting staff is not very professional. I found them standing in a corner, looking at the customers, may be commenting among themselves and then, laughing loudly. 3. Also, the mosquitoes is the biggest problem at rooftops 4. The ambiance was clean and sanitised apart from the mosquitoes issue. Also, the rooftop is very creatively decorated. 5. The live music could have been better. Overall, it was an average experience; not good, not that bad.

Nestled in Sector 7, Wild Thyme stands out as one of Chandigarh's most delightful outdoor cafes. With its inviting decor that features vibrant colors, cozy cushions, and unique art pieces, the ambiance is perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments. The cafe boasts a diverse menu that includes Italian, Continental, Asian, and Mediterranean dishes. Signature offerings like juicy Classic Dumplings and flavorful Grilled BBQ sandwiches are must-tries!
Wild Thyme in Chandigarh is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance swept us away—warm lighting, elegant decor, and a vibe that’s both cozy and upscale. The food was nothing short of exceptional—every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Highly recommend the grilled chicken with thyme jus and the mezze platter, both are standouts! But what truly made our evening unforgettable was the service, especially from our waitress, Luna. She was attentive without being intrusive, had the friendliest energy, and her recommendations were spot on.

Had dinner on a Tuesday night. Completely empty cafe only us 2 at the table. Service was still a little wonky and they did manage to get our order wrong. Dimsums were v average extremely poor plating. Pizza was actually very bad, base felt old and hard. Cheese and pepperoni felt low calorie. Cappuccino was ok. Just the ambience is decent, heaters dont work.
Ishnoor K — Google review
I recently visited Wild Thyme restaurant with a group of around 9 friends, and unfortunately, the experience was a disaster from start to finish. The staff seemed clueless about the liquors they had available, and we were told that whatever we asked for was not available. We finally decided to compromise and sit on the rooftop, but that plan was short-lived as it started raining, and we were shifted to the ground floor. However, the real issue arose during billing. Our bill came out to be approximately Rs. 17,000, and we asked if we could pay through Swiggy since it was offering a 20% discount. To our surprise, the staff refused to accept payment through Swiggy, despite us claiming that we had confirmed this with their staff before placing the order. The refusal was blunt and uncooperative. But the problems didn't stop there. The food quality was abysmal. The pizza crust was so hard that it was difficult to chew, and the other snacks we ordered were average at best. What really took the cake, though, was the service – it was the slowest I've experienced in a long time, and that too on a regular weeknight! Given the bad food, worse service, and overall unpleasant experience, I would not recommend Wild Thyme to anyone. The restaurant needs to work on multiple fronts, including staff training, food quality, and customer service.
Arun C — Google review
We recently dined at Wild Thyme and tried their Crystal Veg Dimsums, Lasagne, and a couple of refreshing mocktails. The presentation and ambiance were both quite appealing, making it a pleasant dining experience overall. While the dishes were well-prepared and had a decent flavor profile, I personally felt that the taste didn’t quite hit the mark for my palate. The dimsums were delicate and nicely steamed, and the lasagne had a good texture, but the overall flavor could have been a bit more impactful or memorable. Went here for dinner and coffee. The ambience is good, would be even better for brunch. Food was mostly good except pizza pockets which had almost no filling. Pad Thai noodles and pasta was good. So were the LIITs and the coffees. Service was good, food came fast and place was very clean. Washrooms were clean too.

Another amazing find in Chandigarh. They need to improve their visibility as their sign board is really very small. Just saw it randomly while in search of a place to have lunch. Looks small from outside but they have quiet a good space both indoor and outdoor. Platters are a must. Felted delighted by this West Asia platter. Chicken breast was really juicy, so would recommend it to all. They also serve alcohol and have a rooftop sitting. I will be trying it out soon. Also they have these hut type sitting in their backyard which I think would be great during rains. Price point: Rs. 500-700 per person without alcohol.

The bar offers a chic and modern ambiance with traditional Asian elements, making it an ideal spot for a day out with friends or family. Recently, the bar hosted a Korean Food Festival featuring traditional dishes expertly prepared by guest chef Shruti Chadha.
"After a long time, my family and I have had a truly wonderful experience with PAN Asian cuisine, and I have to give full credit to Zhu Cocktail Bar for delivering such a delightful meal today. As someone with a bit of food sensitivity, it’s always a concern whether beautifully presented food will sit well, and I’m happy to say I thoroughly enjoyed my meal without any issues. The dishes were well-priced, generously portioned, and served with care. The light music and warm ambiance added to the overall experience. I sincerely hope Zhu can maintain this high standard for years to come. Enclosed are some of the dishes we enjoyed. Highly recommend!"

⭐ 1/5 – One of the Worst Dining Experiences I’ve Had I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience definitely deserves one. From start to finish, this restaurant was a disaster. We began with sushi, which was absolutely not fresh or flavorful. It lacked the delicacy and taste you expect from even a basic sushi roll. Things only got worse from there — the noodles we ordered were burnt and had a charred, unpleasant taste. Honestly, it was inedible. To make things worse, the regular water they served tasted like direct tap water — no filtration, no chill, just plain bad. When I went to the washroom, it was another disappointment: no soap, no tissues, and the dryer wasn’t even working. Inexcusable for any establishment, let alone a restaurant. When I politely raised the issue about the burnt food with the waiter, her response was shocking — “Sorry, we cannot do anything this time. Maybe next time we can give you a complimentary dessert.” That’s not how you handle paying customers who are clearly dissatisfied. Needless to say, there will be no next time. Save your time, money, and taste buds — this place is not worth it.
Karan — Google review
I went to this restaurant with my family for lunch after a friend’s recommendation. The food was nice, ambience was good but then we found a dead insect in our food and then instead of apologising they lied that the insect must have fallen just now but in reality it came from the kitchen. This raises a big question on the hygiene and cleanliness of this high rated restaurant. It means their kitchen is never clean and they’re serving low quality food that can affect people’s health. My whole family being pure vegetarians had eaten the food with a dead insect as we only saw it in last bites. They told that we can replace the dish but still no apology. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and i won’t ever visit them again.

🌟 Zhu – Where Cocktails Meet Culinary Magic 🌟 📍Bar Takeover by Ujjwal | A Night of Bold Flavours & Smooth Vibes Last evening at Zhu was nothing short of a sensory celebration! I had the chance to explore their specially curated cocktails as part of the bar takeover by Ujjwal, and I must say – the creativity in the glass was just as exciting as the food on the plate. 🍸 Cocktail Highlights: Tried four standout cocktails, but the one that completely stole the show was the Zhu’s Picante – a fiery and flavorful blend of Tequila, Agave, Gochujang, Togarashi, and Lemon. It hits you with a spicy kick, yet stays balanced and refreshing. Perfect for those who like their drinks with an edge. Another interesting pick was the Yakuza Negroni – featuring sushi rice-infused gin and a dash of wasabi tincture. Strong, sharp, and unapologetically bold – it’s a Negroni with attitude. If you’re looking for something lighter, the Eastern Zen (Clarified) is a great pick. With gin, yuzu, pineapple juice, lemon, and basil, it’s clean, zesty, and incredibly calming – like sipping serenity in a glass. 🍽️ Food to Fall For: Let’s talk food, because Zhu isn’t just about drinks. Their Crispy Chicken Baos were an absolute winner – think KFC-style crispy chicken packed into soft, cloud-like bao buns. It’s comfort food with a gourmet twist. Every bite was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We ended our meal with their Water Chestnut Dimsums, and wow – soft, juicy, and delicately packed with flavor. A must-try for any dimsum lover. ⸻ ⭐ Final Verdict: Zhu delivered on every front – from innovative cocktails to unforgettable food. The ambience was chic, the service was smooth, and the flavours hit all the right notes. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or a comfort food junkie, this place deserves a spot on your list. 📸 Don’t forget to check out the reel for all the highlights! Zhu, you’ve got my heart (and taste buds). Until next time! ❤️🍴🍸

It is located in Hi5 mall, sector 5, Panchkula. Ambience wise, it is good. Lighting was nice. Music was okay. It's like a fine dine, spacious restaurant. We ordered one roasted veggies pizza. The order took 15-20 mins to come. Frankly speaking, I didn't feel that veggies were roasted at all. It was a thin crust pizza. It tasted okay..nothing special. Price wise, I felt like it was way too costly.

The interiors have no connecting theme or pattern whatsoever with the name of the restaurant. Quite random. The Italian food is considerably good but the North Indian is equally horrible. Not at all value for money. The service lacks the sense of thought aboht what should be served with what and after what. I ordered a dal, malaikofta and few breads. The malai kofta was delivered 15min after the dal and breads.

We have all loved Rustic door in sector 10 and it has proven time and again why it's one of the best restaurant in sector 10. As it was not accessible to a lot of people in Panchkula being that far off, a new outlet at Panchkula has been opened. Though the seating has been increased tenfold, it perfectly emanates the feeling of the original Rustic door. Talking about food: We had a couple of dishes on the table which were way too good to handle. I ll brief up through my order here. We started with Minestrone Soup which was a full of exotic veggies and tasted delightful. Cheese baked nachos were a perfect munch partner. Harrisa chicken was probably something i loved the most here. Perfectly cooked and served in the best possible manner. Flat Grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and was served with rice and salad topped with some gravy. Lebanese Fatoush salad was next on table and felt super fresh American style grilled fish was served with Veggies and mashed potatoes wad something on the good food list. We ordered some drinks too and everything was perfectly blended and tasted delicious. Finally the paan ice-cream which is there speciality is a must try Overall this place impressed me to the core and i ll definitely visit up often

OKO at @thelalitchandigarh driven by @chefsuriya11 is rooted in Authentic Pan Asian Cuisine. Chef Suriya has returned after a hiatus of about 4 years bringing once again his exceptional skills in Thai Cuisine to the Tricity. Trained at the iconic Blue Elephant Restaurant & Culinary School in Bangkok, where he later taught too, makes Chef Suriya a stalwart when it comes to Thai Cuisine and it was apparent in every dish we had for lunch. I was completely blown away by the Qingzheng Jiayu, steamed whole fish with Soy Sauce, Ginger, Scallions etc served in a watery sauce that's a result of all these ingredients being steamed together with the fish. It's a light, simple and addictive dish. The delicate fish sucked up all the flavours of that delicious sauce and it was heavenly! I loved Pad Thai, one of my favourite dishes. Flat rice noodles stir-fried, is essentially a street food & eaten for any meal of the day. The Burmese Khao Suey was incredibly light, flavourful & balanced! Amongst the best, I've had recently. The Pad Krapow Gai, a minced chicken stir fry with fragrant basil is sweetish, savoury and a bit spicy. While everyone loved the Coconut Caramel Cake, which was faultless, I was a bit partial towards ThapThim Krop, which is named amongst the top 50 desserts by CNN Travel. Little pieces of crunchy Water Chestnuts coloured red using beetroot juice rolled in Tapioca Flour, boiled and served in slightly sweetened coconut milk & Ice cubes! The fruity crunchy sweetish dessert is phenomenal. A truly unique dessert that shouldn't be missed! Thai Cuisine is interesting cause it was never colonised, and was always a centre of trade hence the influences on its cuisine have been mostly adopted by the Thai people rather than forced upon them! For that very reason, it's an extremely unique cuisine that adopts contrasting flavours in most of its dishes, and considering we have Chef Suriya back in town, I can optimistically say a great culinary experience awaits you at OKO! P.S. Dinner Only.

One of the best pan Asian restaurants I have visited. The staff are so friendly. The food tasted amazing. We had Khao suey, which the chef customised it according to our requirements. Their complimentary crisps are a note to be mentioned. They are so yum. Avacado cream cheese sushi had the right amount of everything in place. Visited this place for lunch on two consecutive days which explains the service and food quantity

This place is really good! Authentic Japanese Teppanyaki..we felt we had been transported to Japan.. ! we tried the lamb chops and salmon and both were simply yum!! The Kaffir lime cheesecake was quite spectacular too! The only minor let down was the cocktail that we had. We tried a whiskey sour which was not quite upto mark... they got it fixed after we complained which was good though.. This place is definitely worth going to! Again and again!

Worst service and food taste was pathetic but the main part food was served with insects ...they will change your bill amount if you tell them you have booking from Swiggy or zomato they will increase the amount ...they are also charging items Way more than MRP

The place is a fusion of serenity and delight. I went here with my family for my husband's birthday for the first time. The services of catering and customer management are awesome. The food presentation was fabulous and all meals were delectable. Must-visit restaurant ✌️

Awesome place, a bit over priced food but yummy. Loved it. I have been here 3rd time and kids loved it too!!!

Main course was pathetic. No basic sense of cooking. The food was having excessive salt in it. Please don't go and waste your money. The price of main course and other items are way too high and they are not worth of that.
