1Hotel Europe

Hotel
Hotel Europe is a historic 5-star hotel located in the heart of Sarajevo, Bosnia. Established in 1882, this elegant hotel offers modern and fully equipped accommodations with a blend of Oriental and modern styles. It features cozy rooms and suites, along with amenities such as a gym, indoor pool, spa with saunas, terrace for sunbathing, fitness services, and airport transfers.
I had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Europe in Sarajevo. The location is right in the heart of the city, yet my room was quiet and peaceful, allowing me to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The staff were extremely accommodating. When I mentioned that the bed in my blue-themed room was a bit too firm, they kindly moved me to another room (orange-themed), which had a softer, much more comfortable bed—it felt like heaven! I ended up extending my stay because of how relaxed and at home I felt. Breakfast was another highlight: a huge variety of options, all fresh and delicious, and the waiters were attentive and professional. A special thank you goes to Marisa at the spa. She is so sweet, welcoming, and patient in explaining all the services they offer. Honestly, she’s the reason I chose this hotel in the first place! The spa itself is fantastic, with a pool, sauna, steam room, and a wide range of treatments like massages, facials, and body scrubs—perfect for being pampered without even leaving the hotel. Overall, I can’t recommend Hotel Europe enough. From the location to the comfort, service, and spa, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Definitely one of the best options to stay in Sarajevo. Perfect location in the middle of old town. Kind service and very clean. Did not taste SPA offer. Great breakfast, one of the best I’ve tasted lately. Rooms need a bit of refurbishment, that’s why did not put 5 starts.

Location is perfect. Rooms Beautiful. Staff at reception kind. But on separate occasions I rather strongly felt that I was not welcome here by the restaurant staff. Which is unfortunate because it significantly impacted my overall experience. But alas, perhaps if I was kinder for example said good morning to them when walking in, the experience may have been different.
Nikola J — Google review
Rooms very basic on 3rd floor, bathroom not clean, AC operated lousy, was able to open window (colleagues was not) but the noise from outside AC unit was unbearable. Price-list was obsolete and incorrect. Breakfast was very good. Reception also but: they were not able to organize taxi from the airport to hotel as I was “too late”?!? Beware of TAXI d(r)iver… they will try to scam you. Black Mercedes driver took 50KM (25 €) instead of max 20 KM (10€). Location good if you like to check the old part of town. People are very nice in general.
DragonS — Google review
Very disappointed with my stay. The AC was not working in two different rooms, and they asked me to move again to a third. The tub was clogged, the furniture is outdated, and the mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. This level of service is unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here.
Safeya M — Google review
Really central, comfortable, clean and some kind of nostalgic. I liked it. Room has bidet as you can see.

Excellent service and location. The gentleman working night shift on September 29 was exceptionally kind and helpful, ordered us a taxi and made sure we were safe.

Charge 20€ for 24h, very high price. They don’t take € for the parking ticket at the counter and only cash is allowed. Very bad parking experience. Not very helpful staff. Wouldn’t recommend parking there

Le Petit Prince Guesthouse is a charming accommodation situated in Sarajevo, just 600 meters from the lively Bascarsija area. The air-conditioned units come with complimentary WiFi and on-site parking. Guests appreciate the homely atmosphere, cleanliness, and spaciousness of the rooms. The friendly host provides helpful suggestions and makes visitors feel at home.
Kind host, large and clean room, parking available. The city center is just a 10-min walk. Only cash, but that is to be expected in Bosnia. Highly appreciated the walking tour suggestion by the owner. Recommended.

Le Petit Prince is a beautiful, cozy place to stay, on excellent location in heart of Sarajevo. Our host was exceptionally friendly so we felt like home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and stylish. There is secured parking, which we appreciated a lot. Breakfast was decent. I would absolutely recommend this place and return next time.

our money were stolen from our room by the staff !! also my brother in law sun glass was missing! whenever we leave the hotel they go inside our rooms to check out things ! and in the last day the charged us for damaging the floor! when we discussed it with them she cancelled it then when we checked out she withdraw the funds from my credit card! the worst place ever to stay! I had been in different countries and cities, this the first time for me to face this issue! Please be careful if you want to stay in this place. while checking out she told me that everything is okay so I left, I returned back to the room to take see what she was doing because she closed the door, she was throwing the rubbish on the floor and the towels and taking pictures ! sick lady seriously! she wanted to take money from us as much as she can as she said ( U are arabs) !!!!! ( the photo is for the floor that she said it's damaged). our money were stolen in the second day when we went to a long trip to Mostar! and she told us to call police but what the use if there is no cameras! she saw how much we had so she thought that she can get more and more from us! she reported the damage in the wall only in the last day not before ! she took the money from my credit card without showing us the damages and for the glasses everything was there when we left and she said everything us okay you can leave ! she took the money for a revenge only brcause I said that I will post a bad review for tha bad service!

3Hotel Grand Sarajevo

Hotel
Hotel Grand Sarajevo offers simple accommodations, some with scenic mountain views, in a laid-back setting. The property features two restaurants and a bar for guests to enjoy. Situated near the city center, central bus and train station, the hotel provides convenient access to various attractions. With ample parking space available, it ensures easy mobility for those with private vehicles. The rooms are tidy and equipped with comfortable beds and reliable Wi-Fi.
I stayed at Hotel Grand Sarajevo for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is well-organized, very clean, and offers an amazing breakfast with a great variety of options. I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight bus from Belgrade, feeling quite tired. As expected, my room wasn't ready yet, but one of the kind employees at reception noticed my situation and invited me to have breakfast before it finished. This small act of kindness meant a lot, as I was both exhausted and hungry – it really set the tone for the rest of my stay. After breakfast, I waited in the cozy bar area, where the service was excellent. The hotel is located in a quieter, more residential part of Sarajevo, which I appreciated, and my room had lovely views of the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend Hotel Grand Sarajevo for its comfort, cleanliness, and above all, the thoughtful and welcoming staff. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the city!
Peterson F — Google review
We stayed at Grand Hotel Sarajevo for two nights. The location is convenient if you're driving—close to the old town by car—but unfortunately not accessible by foot for wheelchair users. Accessibility was a mixed experience. There are two ramps at the entrance, but one of them is steep and not up to standard. My partner, who uses a wheelchair, couldn’t manage it alone and needed assistance. The elevator was also too small for a power chair; I had to help maneuver it in. The room itself was spacious and had two bathrooms—one standard with a jacuzzi, and the other an accessible one. The accessible bathroom was thoughtfully equipped with a raised toilet, a sturdy foldable shower seat, and a handle. However, the drainage was poor and water didn’t drain well, which made showering difficult. Another issue was the bed height—it was far too low for easy transfers from a wheelchair, so we had to use a transfer board. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options. A highlight of our stay was Edi, one of the staff members. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and his fluent English with a British accent made communication much easier in a country where English isn’t widely spoken.

Disappointing Stay – Even 1 Star Is Too Much My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the air conditioning wasn’t working, making it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably. The bed sheets were dirty and even had blood stains on them. I tried changing the sheets myself, but I continued to experience itching every night — clearly, the bedding was not clean. The room was never cleaned during my stay and had a strong, unpleasant odor. The showerhead was broken, the shower itself was rusty, and the entire bathroom was in poor condition. The breakfast was equally unacceptable — it resembled leftover scraps more than an actual meal. While the hotel is conveniently located near the city center, that is unfortunately the only positive. Do not be misled by the online photos — they are completely inaccurate. When it rains, the noise from the drops hitting the roof is so loud it makes sleeping nearly impossible. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not recommended. For the price you pay, you should expect at least basic cleanliness and comfort. Honestly, even one star feels too generous.
Haberler B — Google review
We actually liked the place. The newly renovated family rooms with two washrooms are great. The airconditioning is good. The free breakfast has a lot of selection. There's grocery and bakeries nearby for immediate needs. Walking distance from train station and not too far away from the city centre either.

Very disappointing experience – unsafe, unprofessional, and misleading We had a truly unpleasant experience at this hotel. We made a reservation through Booking.com at 4:00 PM and received a confirmation that everything was in order. However, when we arrived at 10:00 PM, we were greeted in a rushed and uninterested manner by a grumpy staff member who said her shift was over. She told us the hotel was overbooked and she wasn’t sure if there were any rooms available. Instead of checking herself, she handed us a few room keys and told us to check if the rooms were free. Completely unprofessional. Once in the room, we discovered the air conditioning didn’t work, the shower only had cold water, and the room looked nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. What was shown online as modern and clean turned out to be outdated and gloomy. We felt misled. The worst part was the parking situation. The hotel only has 10 parking spots despite being able to host hundreds of guests. We were forced to park across the street on an unpaved, unlit lot with no security or camera surveillance. The next morning, we found that the back window of our car had been smashed, and all our luggage and shoes were stolen. When we asked the front desk for help or security footage, we were told bluntly that the hotel takes no responsibility and there was nothing they could do. No empathy, no support. In short: unsafe conditions, poor service, misleading information on Booking.com, and zero accountability from the hotel. Definitely not recommended.
Fahri A — Google review
If you want clean and comfort, do not come to this hotel. The hygiene was genuinely worst than a UK McDonalds toilet. When I arrived there was mould in the bathroom, yellow stains in the bathtub, hair in the bathtub. The shower head was wrapped up in duct tape. The bedding was awful too. I did not get a duvet but only the duvet sheet. There was stains on the bedding and on the pillows. The bathroom towels had stains on them too!! The breakfast wasn’t enjoyable for my taste palette but for others it may. Some of the reception staff were helpful but most weren’t. They refused to call for a taxi bigger than a 4 seater even though I saw many in Sarajevo.
Saima K — Google review
We were part of a tour group so unfortunately we had to stay there. Overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke when entering the foyer/ reception area. We were put in the accessible room on the top floor. Only positive thing is the size of the room. Spigots of the bath was totally loose and unusable. Plastic casing over the power sockets in the wall was totally loose and in my opinion unsafe to use. The shower was exposed without any door or sloped floor. We had to roll towels up and put it on the floor not to flood the place. Breakfast was almost non-existant. If you really have to stay here, please make sure you get one of the revamped rooms. Some of our group were lucky enough to get revamped rooms and they said it was acceptable. Unfortunately I can't recommend staying here
Abraham — Google review
We chose this hotel because of the Booking.com reviews and its 3-star rating, but it was the worst experience we've ever had. I wish we'd read the negative reviews before going; I deeply regret it. The hotel I stayed in in India was cleaner and better quality. The rooms are very small, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is adjacent to the toilet, and it's completely unhygienic. Once you see the lady at the reception and hear her talk, you realize what a disgraceful establishment you've come to. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO WITH YOUR FAMILY.

Hotel
Hotel President in Sarajevo is a modern and well-rated hotel located in the city center, close to historical attractions like the Latin Bridge, Sebilj Fountain, and Bascarsija Street. The hotel offers warmly decorated rooms with classy interiors and modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and private bathrooms with hot tubs. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast and access to a terrace with city views.
The hotel is in a great location. The car park is a bit tight if you drive a larger car. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as most of the hot items were cold or luke warm at best. Still a good experience overall.
Neil H — Google review
Fantastic location and service with a wide spread at breakfast. However rooms are directly in view of the busy street outside with flimsy sheer curtains and solid curtains that don't fully close so you're guaranteed to be woken up by the sun or people can see inside. And rooms are super dark, definitely not enough light to make it feel inviting or welcoming. I would really not recommend staying here, best to stay at the Marriott or elsewhere.
Boris S — Google review
Superb location near old city center. Large rooms, good breakfast buffet. For me, the bed was extremely hard, making it very uncomfortable, even after they added a “topper” (felt more a slim cover, than a Scandinavian style soft topper).
Markus S — Google review
Slightly dated but otherwise excellent room (402). Phenomenal balcony and a location that can’t be beat. Towels were quite scratchy and a bit cheap, but otherwise everything at the hotel including the breakfast and the service were excellent.
Damian D — Google review
Definitely a 5 🌟 hotel for Bosna standards. Location is unbeatable. Breakfast menu could be improved but you have a heap of cafes at the front door as an alternative option.
Dejan J — Google review
The location is easy to reach, but the hotel has no parking and the entrance feels like jumping over hurdles — not fitting for a hotel. The room design is poor and uncomfortable, and the staff’s attitude was unprofessional, with no flexibility or hospitality. A disappointing experience that I would not repeat
Naser S — Google review
Excellent greeting on arrival from valet parking staff, reception staff Haris & Aldijana who gave us an upgrade to a junior suite which was absolutely amazing, clean and all the Mod cons including fully loaded mini bar. The best sleep i have ever had in a hotel, the beds were so comfortable, the pillows were so soft, we didn’t want to wake up. Very welcoming staff in the restaurant who we were able to chat to, the most delicious selection of breakfast hot and cold and the coffee is to die for. Secure parking will put you at rest too, all of that and the cream on the cake was the Hotel is right in the heart of the city in the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre. On departure the reception staff were amazing too, if i could rank this more than 5⭐️ i would give this hotel all these stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great job everybody and keep up the excellent standards you are delivering. Ps: and last but not least Dont forget the cleaning staff who make sure the hotel is kept up to the highest standards, please show your gratitude and leave them a tip. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel. See you next year Mr Ramadan

Had a lovely stay here last month. The housekeeping team in particular deserves recognition- they clean the room in such detail daily without fail, no matter what time we left the room. They always replaced the linen without asking. The staff at reception were also kind and helpful. For the decent price, was an excellent location. Carpets in the rooms could be modernised (very dark colour, patterned) but overall neat and tidy rooms. The perfect stay, thank you all.

Kibe Mahala is a renowned restaurant located on a hillside in Sarajevo, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. It is celebrated for its national Bosnian cuisine and has been frequented by prominent figures from around the world, including statesmen, politicians, international organization representatives, and renowned artists.
What an unforgettable evening at Kibe Mahala! 🌟 From the moment we stepped inside this beautifully restored hillside house, everything felt special. The panoramic night view over Sarajevo is absolutely breathtaking—like a sea of stars beneath your table. The food is pure Bosnian comfort with a touch of elegance. The slow-roasted lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly paired with a glass of Podrumi Ostojić Blatina 2024—a local red that added just the right depth and warmth to the meal. Service was friendly and relaxed, making us feel like cherished guests rather than customers. The combination of delicious flavors, cozy interior, and that sparkling cityscape made this dinner one of the highlights of our trip. If you want a memorable Sarajevo night with authentic cuisine and a stunning view, Kibe Mahala is a must-visit. 💫🍷🥂
Çağatay Ç — Google review
The food was good and the view perfect, but the price-to-quality and quantity ratio is not balanced for Bosnian standards. That’s why I give four stars. It’s not a fine dining experience, but simply good food. Tip: reserve a table by the window

100% recommended restaurant when in Sarajevo! Classy traditional setting, amazing traditional Bosnian food, great top notch service, prices higher than other places in bosnia but worth it! Also look at the view!

Room was excellent. Had great view. For the restraunt, food is good but can’t justify the prices. It is not like you are eating in Paris.

From start to finish what a wonderful treat. They have a stellar mountain side location and even a few parking spaces available in their private parking lot. The interior is decorated like a boutique hotel and the food is yum. Bosnian traditional foods but cooked perfected and they taste great. Not oily or over powering like some places in the old city advertising traditional foods. The klepe was to die for and the desert menu sweet and tasty. But the view is really the part that takes the cake, you can see clear across the city to the other mountain Trebević. What a pleasant and posh dinner to a group of friends out. The elevator was especially handy because I had a baby in a stroller with me.

A must visit place right above the city. Beautiful gallery shop and restaurant with a private parking lot across the street. One of the best views and vibes that you can get in Sarajevo. - 300g portion of lamb (straight from the spinning lamb) with fried potatoes - Fresh mjesana/mixed salad (very fresh) - Across is mućkalica dish in a traditional Bosnian serving plate - Bread included. Left full.

Restoran Sjaj is located in a picturesque area where the lively city of Sarajevo meets the tranquility of nature. The restaurant features a charming garden terrace, offering guests the opportunity to savor delectable roasted lamb amidst the refreshing shade of an orchard. Additionally, visitors can opt to stay in the opulently adorned rooms situated above the restaurant for a truly regal experience.
We come here often and I have to say it’s always been really good. The Pecenje is always cooked to perfection, skin is always salted and crispy spot on. Buy some fresh cabbage with it and enjoy your meal. Extra bonus for keeping the no smoking Laws in place.

Today is Monday 14.04 like every other day, except that it was our 18th birthday. My daughter has insulin resistance and the doctor told us that she must not eat anything fatty and sweet... I decided on my own and responsibility to make this day a special day for her. That's why in the last minute around 14.00 we call some well-known places that we saw that have good roast lamb. Ee started with calls but the answersw were : don't have it or a strange question over the phone aahh how many of you are there or ahh that's not a lot ..ok you can come we have lamb ahh just for the two of you, is 600 grams ok per person ? All of that sounded strange to us. Places that are famous and have excellent reviews are all tip top.... We stoed our car offthe road and at Slenderija, sarted to callnear well famous restaurant and were looking for roast lamb... After 3 tries we called the Sjaj restaurant in Buća Potok. A confident, cheerful, male voice answered our question and answered "of course we have, just come". After a short dialogue with my daughter, I came to the conclusion that if we need to eat, we shouldgo to eat at the Sjaj Restaurant. As soon as we got out of the car and smelled the divine smell of freshlly roast lamb, we knew we had come to the right place. We were greeted by a familiar voice that answered on our previous call. Ee enterrnin restoran .... I want to say that now I know where to go for a Best and always fresh Roast Lamb in the city. The waiter explained to us that in fact, you can always find fresh roasts at their place at any time of the day, week, month. Unlike some places for which I saw ratings of 4.9 or 5.0... I hope that my review will help many people, and brighten up your day like they brightened our birthday in Sjaj restoraunt . All recommendations from uswe would like to ratedit with not 5.0 but 10.0 Marks for food, drink and service.

I stayed with three other people and the minute we arrived we were greeted with hospitality the owners son was very polite, friendly and charming he made us feel very welcomed. Any inquiries or information we needed he provided for us even when it got really busy in the restaurant he still made time for us guests staying over. Other staff like the waiters were also very funny, friendly and polite always giving great service to. Also the food, although we didn’t eat there everyday the times we did it was amazing. Overall my experience there was fantastic and I would a 100% stay over again.

Always Fresh, Always Quality! I have stayed in Buca Potok for the last two summers for work and visit Sjaj almost everyday for a meal. I always leave full and happy. The food is really great domestic Bosnian, service is great as well. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The owner, his son and staff are really great. They also rent apartments upstairs but I have never stayed.

The best lamb restaurant in town, n it's cheap For who said it's too expensive maybe u need to cook it ur self, don't even come to restaurant

Lamb roast is a must try. Vegetarian options are also available. Polenta was tasty.

Very expensive, meat was cold, too many bones and fat/tallow. Location is up in the hills, no taxi company wanted to drive there and pick us up. Had to walk back 25 min to the city. Only positive was the yard with cats roaming around.

You can find Restoran Sjaj in beautiful part of Sarajevo where bustling capital city meets nature. Restaurant has garden terrace and you can enjoy delicious roasted lamb in cool shade of an orchard. Above the restaurant there are luxuriously decorated rooms where you can stay and feel as a king!

Hotel Hills Sarajevo Congress & Termal spa Resort is a luxurious accommodation nestled in the heart of Sarajevo's green oasis. Boasting 330 well-appointed rooms and suites, this 5-star resort features a state-of-the-art congress center, modern wellness facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an adrenaline park for both kids and adults, as well as various dining options offering international and national cuisine. Guests can also enjoy panoramic views from the rooftop restaurant and lounge bar.
Airport view was excellent. Kids would love just looking at planes landing and taking off. Try to get a view if you can. Hotel staff for laundry, room service and daily turn over are excellent. The only downside was that it is too far from the city center and takes 25 min cab ride. We had it reserved via our large travel group. Personally for a smaller group I’d stay near old city
Furquaan I — Google review
The hotel is located close to the airport. I booked it as part of a package and an organized tour. The hotel is rated as 5 stars, but the reception area is very modest and doesn’t resemble a 5-star hotel at all. We received our rooms, and while the rooms are spacious, the moment I opened the curtain, I saw the level of cleanliness dust, hair in the drawers, and a sewage smell. Very low standard of cleanliness. The dining hall is large but not well-lit. There is enough food, but the service is terrible. Don’t expect 5-star level service or food. By the way, I asked for an iron they don’t have one, only an ironing service. Not recommended at all.

Hotel Hills is an amazing place! I had the pleasure of attending the Saudi National Day 95 celebration here, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is elegant, spacious, and very well organized. The atmosphere during the event was festive and unforgettable. The staff were professional, kind, and made everything run smoothly. A perfect venue for such a special occasion — highly recommended!”

The hotel is great. Room is huge with balcony. Staff is friendly. Food on the breakfast buffet was good and more variety. The minus thing is they didn't provide mineral water, they said we can drink from tab water. And no dental kits, until we ask the house keeping to give us. But we will go back again because I love their breakfast buffet, swimming pool and the huge room they provided.
Fenni D — Google review
First of all I'll start with saying the place is not perfect , especially looking at it from the outside ( like most Balkan structures the outside is not kept in meticulous shape) however the story changes once you arrive inside! This place very nice and there's tons of things to do. One day here is not enough truly. 1. The breakfast! Truly exceptional in the choices they offer lots of traditional Bosnian dishes and lots of middle eastern salads a fantastic combination and the amount of choices is more than any other hotel I've stayed at. 2. The spa area is wonderful 8-9 different spas all Wich are in working condition and large enough to fit multiple parties without feeling cramped of claustrophobic. 3. The indoor swimming area is located adjacent to the hotel however connected through some strange hallways and locker room maze, but once you arrive at the pool it is a fantastic experience. The ceiling made of expertly crafted wood and glass and artificial rocks, trees and even a small cave give it an adventurous feel from kids to adults all will enjoy! Not to mention the multiple water massages and roughly 10-12 hot tub/jacuzzi's! 4. The gym is also huge with professional employees and every machine you could possibly want. 5. There is a store inside the resort so anything you need from snacks, drinks, and cigarettes are available without having to pay exorbitant hotel prices. 6. Theres even a niche parfume shop in the building Wich you get a great wiff of as soon as you enter. My only issues were not being able to walk around the hotel in robes but I completely understand there are a lot Muslims here and also locals who do not quite appreciate the modest appearance. And the other thing was my lock on my room didn't work with the key card I had to be given the key and manually open and close the door but those are minor issues in my eyes. I still recommend this resort 9.5/10!
Dzenis A — Google review
The hotel has great swimming pools for both kids and adults – definitely a highlight! 🏊‍♂️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 But the room experience was disappointing: • Not worth the price – we stayed at cheaper hotels that were much better. 💸 • Bathroom lacked basics – no cotton swabs, no toothbrush, etc. 🪥🚫 • Room key card didn’t work, had to use a physical key due to a door issue. 🔑🚪 • No iron in the room, unlike other hotels in the area. 👕❌ • The safe was broken and couldn’t be used. 🔒⚠️ • Hot water took a long time to heat up. 🚿🥶 • Ventilation in the bathroom was extremely loud, making it uncomfortable. 🔊🚽 ✅ Breakfast was excellent – fresh, diverse, and well-organized. 🥐☕ ✅ Service was fast and friendly, which is a big plus. 😊👏 Overall: Nice pools, great breakfast, and good service – but the room quality, noise issues, and lack of basic amenities don’t justify the price.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hill Sarajevo. The location is excellent, very convenient to the airport and only about 30 minutes from the city center. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even better. The hotel itself was spotless, and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of variety and they never ran out of food. The swimming pools were another highlight, with both indoor and outdoor options to enjoy. The only downside was that at the outdoor pool you have to rent the chairs, which felt a little unfair. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Sarajevo! And beyond the hotel, I have to say the people of Bosnia 🇧🇦 are truly a great nation—very polite, always ready to help, and they deserve a big round of applause! 👏
Muhammad Z — Google review
If you check in after 10:00 p.m. you will work as a porter . Every time you drive out you should go to busy reception to scan your Parking ticket. The mini bar is not working in my big room. Location is perfect near the airport. I stayed for three nights. ‏ATM , min supermarket and cafe inside. Recreation area outside. It’s better if your children. If you are solo I don’t recommend.

Hotel Malak Regency is an upscale riverside hotel offering polished rooms, restaurants, an indoor pool, and a spa. The spacious rooms are clean and luxurious with amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, and shoe polish. The breakfast offers diverse and fresh options sourced from their farms. The friendly staff provides excellent service, with special mentions for Amina and Alegia. Additionally, the hotel features a shop in the lobby and a fantastic spa facility with fast laundry service.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Malak Regency. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beauty of the hotel — elegant, clean and nicely designed. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well-maintained. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff, welcoming and helpful. A special shout-out to Adin, one of the waiters at the restaurant, whose professionalism, friendly manner and attention to detail added a personal touch. Every single day, he went above and beyond. I can’t recommend Hotel Malak Regency enough.

It’s a unique hotel in the sense that it has its own Farm where during summer you can go with families for picnic. Rooms are exceptionally comfortable and clean, so is the service. Breakfast is buffet and you can have everything that you can imagine to be there for brunch. They serve four different kinds of honey from their own farms.Staff serving breakfast is polite and friendly. It’s located just 7 minutes walk from Llidza tram station where trams run after every few minutes to Baščaršija , old Sarajevo. There only two things we noticed which require the attention of the management. First there is no valet service to take your luggage from the car/ taxi and you are expected to bring and carry yourself to the reception desk. Second is air conditioning in the room. Guest cannot control the thermostat , meaning temperature, by himself. It’s controlled from the front desk and you are supposed to call the person at the front desk/ reception to lower or increase the temperature, your preferred. It’s a headache and management should take a note of it. Otherwise we had absolutely enjoyable stay here. Highly recommended.

We visited from Jerusalem, Palestine, and had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The employees, especially those helping with luggage and serving food, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a pool, though for women it’s only open on Saturdays and Sundays for a short time, which was a bit limiting. The room was spotless, and the cleaning lady kindly offered us a prayer mat — such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast had a wide variety of food, and there’s also a convenient parking garage. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Also since our flight was very early in the morning, the staff even prepared breakfast boxes for us to take -which we really appreciated

A 5-star experience – truly outstanding service at Malak Regency Hotel! We’ve just ended our 10-day Balkan road trip across Bosnia, Croatia, and Slovenia, covering over 1,500 km and staying in a new city almost every day. Sarajevo was both the beginning and the end of our journey, and we chose Malak Regency Hotel for our final night after a long day in Mostar. Due to a booking mistake on our part through a third-party website, we accidentally reserved the wrong night. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk kindly informed us that the previous night had been marked as a no-show. While the hotel had every right to charge us again, the management handled the situation with true professionalism and generosity by offering us a complimentary room for the correct night — even though they were under no obligation to do so. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with a breathtaking view of the river and surrounding nature. We appreciated the full amenities, including a bidet in the bathroom — a thoughtful detail for Middle Eastern travelers. Free secure parking was also a big plus. Without a doubt, I will stay here again on my next visit to Sarajevo and highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, hospitality, and peace of mind.

Hotel Malik Sarajevo wannabe Turkish five star that lost its shine long ago Maybe back in the day when it first opened this place actually hit the five star standards and got the badge but now it is nothing more than a piece of paper and reality hits different From the entrance you already feel the fake vibe the main door doesnt even work and instead of a grand welcome you get some random vending machines standing right next to the reception desk The so called luxury is just a cheap show covering up how worn out and outdated the place really is In the rooms half the stuff is broken or falling apart the so called renovation looks like a quick and dirty job and the whole thing feels like a low budget knockoff The promo photos online are pure catfish nothing close to what you actually get Breakfast is another letdown Forget about good coffee you wont find it here not even a decent one Food yeah theres plenty of it but its mostly frozen junk reheated pizza and random low quality dishes If you find something tasty consider yourself lucky because its like one bite out of a mountain of trash At the end of the day this hotel doesnt even hit proper four star vibes At best its a sad three star hiding behind fake Turkish glamour stuck in the past and offering zero quality or real comfort

The hotel was overall fine, with excellent breakfasts and a very friendly chef who spread joy in the mornings. The pool area was partly out of order (the whirlpool was not working) and did not feel particularly pleasant. The staff ignored teenagers who were making a mess, being loud, and jumping into the water, so we ended up leaving. The reception staff seemed unqualified and completely lacking both joy in their work and professionalism toward guests. At check-out, we dealt with Melissa, who was openly unpleasant (without any reason, as we had no issue to resolve). I almost asked to speak with the manager but in the end decided not to and just left. This hotel does not live up to a 5-star rating.

Hotel Sana is a trendy accommodation option located in the heart of Sarajevo's Old Town. The renovated townhouse offers bright quarters with minimalist Scandinavian design and quirky lighting details. Despite the relatively small rooms, the hotel provides indulgent touches like color-coordinated orchids and a charming terrace for relaxation. Additionally, guests can enjoy amenities such as parking, a garden, and an on-site restaurant with a terrace.
We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor. Its window didn’t overlook the outside but rather the sky. Seeing the stars at night and waking up to the view of the sun in the morning was wonderful. The bathroom, bed—everything was clean. The only negative thing I can say about the room is that it took a long time to warm up. Other than that, the hotel's location was very central and close to everything. As for the breakfast, I have stayed in many hotels of a similar standard abroad, but this hotel's breakfast might be the best I have ever had. Different staff members work at the reception, and all of them were friendly and polite. Thank you once again for everything! For our next trip to Sarajevo, we already know where we’ll be staying. ☺️

Great boutique hotel located in old town, perfect for exploring Sarajevo, it’s history, great cafés, excellent restaurants, and museums. The breakfast is excellent with real eggs, meat, selections, pastries, fruit juices, yogurt, bar, and additional fixings. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning works, each room has great views, the inside is modern with a traditional twist, and the showers have great water flow. Laundry service is available and it’s very reasonable. We washed about 40 articles of clothing and it cost $20. Highly recommend this place.

Rooms are nice but bit smaller than expected. I was on second level so didn't have any views except old building across. Breakfast is nice, location great 😃. Unfortunately TV in my room didn't work - asked for assistance but was told not possible, luckily didn't stay much indoors

I had room 104. it is not a room, it is a closet. Room length: 250cm. Room width: 120cm. Bed width: 70cm. The window lead to a dark lightwell. Approx. 100cm by 100cm in dark grey colour. With a perforated plate on top so that no larger objects can fall down. The bathroom was comparably large with a nice shower. However, the toilet was squeezed between the wall and the shower. No possibility to clean yourself with paper. The room was extremely poorly soundproofed. When a toilet flushed in the floors above it sounded like it flushes through your head. I didn‘t need an alarm clock as the noise from the kitchen woke me up. I travel 8000km per year by motorbike and have never ever experienced a place like this, on top they charged me 65€ per night for a place worse then a hostel. Complete rip-off!!!!! I would love to add fotos to support

The only great thing about this place is the location and the nice staff. The name should be changed as its called Bed and Breakfast for some strange reason but no Breakfast is available which is misleading.
Abdul M — Google review
Absolute thieves. I paid an almost full advance (70/80 KM) for 1 of 4 nights. When I arrived for check in I handed the 10/80 KM to the manager there (Eldina) who proceeded to prepare my keys. But before she could give me the keys, she said, she’d have to call up the owner, her brother (Eldin). Eldin insisted that I pay the full amount, which no one had asked for this far, and accused me of cheating them. To which I replied why would I as a tourist for the first time in the country do that especially after having made a deposit. After some back and forth, including my threat to complain to the tourism authorities, he demanded an additional 25€ (50 KM) just to let me stay for the night I had already paid for. This just confirmed that these people are scammers. I refused and asked for my money back but only got the last 10 KM. I have never experienced such blatant fraud at a hotel anywhere else in the world - judging by several other reviews, which I’m sorry I didn’t read ahead of time, I’m not sure whether going with one of the online booking agencies would have helped. The sad thing, in addition, was that all this conversation was happening in front of a child of the manager - I hope that she grows up with a better morality than her elders. Judging by a couple of other establishments in the area (not the majority by any means), it seems scams are common here. Edit: * I’m out of 70KM / 35€ - better than staying with no peace of mind. * I was never asked at the time of the deposit nor at check in, until the call with the owner, to pay the full amount. Looks like a set up. * They didn’t say that the 40€ / 80KM per night rate I was quoted was a special discount but the rate on booking.com is indeed higher - classic bait and switch. * They’re advertised as a bed and breakfast on Google and Booking.com but challenged me to prove it - another sign of their crookedness. * I approached the local police station the same afternoon and was advised to talk to the ministry in charge of tourism. I learned that there is also a consumer protection bureau of some sort. While these options won’t get me my money back at least there will be record of complaints against these fraudsters. Edit2: E their response contains lies. I did not accuse everyone in Sarajevo, only this place. In fact, just in the same area I found much better service from many good people. I think tourists can do much better there.
Ahmed B — Google review

Nestled in the heart of Sarajevo, Guest House Ćiro offers an enchanting experience that immerses you in the charm of a traditional mahala. Just a stone's throw from the bustling streets of Baščaršija and significant landmarks like the tomb of Aliya Izzetbegović, this guest house boasts an ideal location for exploring the city's rich history. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, featuring a small kitchen to cater to your needs.

A well tucked away gem. Secure garage parking for the bikes, the owner even moved one of his cars out so we could all park in here. A few steps with the panniers etc but not to bad. Very friendly people, gave us some local beers and got us some food delivered as we were very late getting in... a break down in Croatia, oops.... Amazing roof top views of Sarajevo in three morning....

Excellent place for those visiting Baščaršija and who don't mind a little bit of climb on steep tiny streets. There is free parking on the streets around, but you have to scout for it. Cleanliness is the hallmark of Guest House Ćiro. It is quiet and provides good night's sleep. We enjoyed it for 3 days.

Kind helpful owners, nice and tidy rooms. They provide a parking garage, which is a must for the narrow streets of Sarajevo. The accomodation is close to the city centre.

This guest house should have a rating of 5* no doubt. House is clean, rooms are clean as they could possibly be, it has a nice terrace with the view of the city and houses on the hills around (a house directly in front is blocking some of the view but it's not that bad). You have a small kitchen, the bakery and markets are 100m away and the city center of Baščaršija is 300m away. You can practically roll out of bed into town :) Pics from the house to Baščaršija. Also, if you come by car, ask the owner if you can park the car in his garage, it will give you a peace of mind since streets are really narrow.

Sarajova is the city of sadness and sorrows. At the same time the Ottoman city. I have to state the following for this hotel that I stayed in during my stay. Location is very good. Bascarsi and tomb of Aliya İzzet BEGOVIC are very close to Thierry hotel. There are markets and bakery nearby for shopping. The rooms are clean and handy. The kitchen area can answer all your needs. The terrace is also pleasant. The internet connection is bad. There are no phones in the rooms. Parking is available for two cars. I personally found a place for our car 5 euro per day. No breakfast service. It's a hostel-style place. But I would recommend.

Stay with a balcony view of one of the most important spots in European 20th century history. The location is prime! Totally loved it. Spending evenings overlooking the Latin bridge will for ever stay in my memory. The staff were super friendly and always smiling. I could feel their warmth. The breakfast was a bit weird though.. my recommendation: Skype the breakfast and go have a nice burek and coffee just across the bridge. It will cost nothing and taste much better!

Bazeni is a restaurant located under a boutique hotel, offering great value and tasty food. The peaceful atmosphere and good energy make it a delightful dining spot. With a view of an artificial lake on the Miljacka river, friendly waiters serve fresh local food with moderate prices. Occasionally, live music adds to the ambiance. Visitors praise the remarkable food and service, recommending dishes like Bey's soup, Bosnian steak, and veal.

We stopped in at this restaurant recently. The parking was close to nonexistent and you have to be extremely careful as it’s located on a busy road with high speed traffic. Tasty food, great value! We spent few nights in a boutique hotel which is located under this restaurant and had great breakfast here every morning. We also had dinner with great portions and tasty steaks and domestic wine, it was really a great value for the quality food. The restaurant was peaceful and had good energy, even though there were not many guests inside. We recommend Bey's soup, Bosnian steak, and domestic wine.

Nice, big place with a view towards an artificial lake on Miljacka river. Friendly waiters, good and fresh local food, not great wine list, but it has all basics, with moderate prices. Occasionally, there is a live music.

Very big hotel and also very busy . Lot of food but decent quality at breakfast or lunch. Many sports teams , kids and youth so very busy And noisy. Have a pool but never used it . Seems busy with kids learning to swim coming from outside hotel . Their restaurant is pretty good . Eat there once . About 6 euro for the traditional meal of cevpavi ( not sure it spelled correctly )

I’m not usually one to complain, but my recent stay at this hotel has compelled me to speak up. From start to finish, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Over the course of my three-day stay, not once was my room cleaned — no fresh towels, no trash removed, no beds made. For a hotel that claims to offer even basic hospitality, this is completely unacceptable. The reception staff were not only unhelpful but also shockingly rude. Any time I approached them with a concern or question, I was met with indifference, eye-rolls, or short, dismissive answers. It felt like I was an inconvenience to them, rather than a paying guest. The level of customer service was abysmal. As for the room itself — it was dirty upon arrival and stayed that way throughout my stay. The floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in weeks, there was dust on most surfaces, and the bathroom smelled musty and felt unhygienic. I genuinely felt uncomfortable sleeping there. The general state of the hotel was equally disappointing. Hallways were dimly lit and smelled stale, the elevator was unreliable, and common areas were poorly maintained. I expected a modest stay, but this fell far below even the most basic standards. That said, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the only highlight of my experience — the restaurant staff. They were warm, courteous, and professional every time I visited. They went out of their way to make guests feel welcome and provided excellent service despite the chaos in the rest of the hotel. A sincere thank you to them for their effort and hospitality — they were the only bright spot in an otherwise dismal experience. 👏👏 Unfortunately, even their kindness isn’t enough to save this review. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning. There is no excuse for such a lack of cleanliness, professionalism, or basic customer care. DO BETTER ! !

Our trip started off well — the hotel looked clean and welcoming when we arrived. Unfortunately, that changed the moment we interacted with the reception staff. The front desk staff were rude and dismissive from the start, even though my grandfather was speaking to them politely and simply trying to be friendly. Their behavior was cold and unprofessional. The food at the hotel was decent, which was one of the few positives. However, on our second night, the hotel was overrun by a large group of boys (around 100 of them, aged 9–15), who were staying for a soccer event. Their rooms were located directly around ours — we had four rooms together as a family, including several elderly and ill members. At 9 PM, we wanted to rest after a long day, but that became impossible. Around 15 boys were running up and down the halls, knocking on our doors, shouting, and being extremely disruptive. There were no adults — no coaches or parents — around to manage them. We called reception to report the disturbance and were told security would be sent, but nothing happened for over 15 minutes. My grandmother then went to kindly ask the boys to be quiet — they laughed and gave a sarcastic response in Bosnian, which we couldn’t fully understand. The noise continued. My mother also asked them to quiet down — again, they laughed and ran off. Eventually, my elderly grandfather went out and firmly asked them to stop and return to their rooms. That’s when the coaches showed up and, shockingly, began shouting at my grandfather instead of the boys. At that point, my mother and I went to reception to report what had happened — the noise, the lack of supervision, and the coaches yelling at an elderly man. The receptionists responded with, “What do you want us to do?” — completely dismissive and unhelpful. When I insisted that this wasn’t acceptable, they began screaming, called the police, and started recording us. I have photos of the staff involved. Later, a security guard apologized for everyone’s behavior — both the staff and the coaches — and explained that he was the only security officer on duty. He was the only helpful and understanding person we encountered during our stay. To top it off, the hotel facilities were not as advertised: bathrooms were dirty, and some lights in our rooms didn’t work at all. Conclusion: Between the rude and unhelpful reception staff, the uncontrollable noise, the poor facility maintenance, and the unsafe environment for elderly guests, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. This experience ruined what should have been a peaceful family trip.

A hotel we stayed in as part of our tour program. It is a very large hotel, so it is very crowded and always busy. The rooms were clean. We have no complaints. The breakfast options were not bad. The location is good, there is a shopping mall nearby. There are markets and venues. . It is close to the airport, there were airplane sounds.

We were booked here by our airline, because our flight was cancelled. After arrival, they took our passports and refused, even after repeatedly asking them, to give them back to us. This is completely unacceptable. They wanted to keep them until the next day. Background: Their shift was about to end and they didn't want to do overtime. Ok, I understand that, but still, I'm traveling internationally, so my passport is my most important possession at that point. I've also never encountered a more rude staff member ever in all my years of travel. They must find a better solution than just "screw the customer". The rooms are dated and dirty, which is somewhat to be expected given the price, but a lot of things also didn't work properly. The entire hotel is very dated with outdated technical panels hanging from the walls and broken doors everywhere. We didn't stay the night however, because of the largest issue with this hotel: Fire safety. There were no evacuation plans anywhere - neither in the rooms, nor the hallways, nor the elevators - we checked. We also went down multiple "escape routes", only to find out that none of them lead to the outside and some of them were full of broken furniture or other debris. All of them, yes, ALL of the "escape routes", funneled into the lobby area, which is in the middle of the building with only one single exit - the main exit out the front door which is lined by restaurants, shops, planters, and other obstacles. Honestly, if we can't find a quick and easy way out of the hotel during normal operations, just imagine what would happen if the building was actually on fire. I'm usually not so obsessed with fire safety, but this truly shocked me. Trust me, this would end up on the news. We immediately checked out and went to a proper hotel downtown. Avoid at all cost!
William B — Google review
The breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying. The staff were generally warm and polite. However, the rooms need maintenance (such as non-functioning faucets), and the hotel’s fire exits are locked. Considering that a recent fire caused the deaths of dozens of people for this very reason, I believe this issue should be taken seriously.

Very disappointing experience at Hotel Hollywood. I don’t understand how this hotel has four stars. The rooms smell very bad, and there is a strong sewage odor right in front of the hotel – like an open manhole. When we asked to change rooms due to the terrible smell, the staff refused and were not helpful at all. There is no customer service, and they seem completely uninterested in solving any problems. This is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel Holiday, located in the heart of Sarajevo, is a popular choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. The hotel features renovated rooms and offers amenities such as a restaurant, gym, spa with saunas and pool, massage facilities, fitness center, and beauty salons. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Despite its older decor, the hotel maintains its charm and provides top-notch service. Guests can enjoy a diverse buffet breakfast catering to various tastes.
We were only there for one night, as we were heading to Mostar the next morning and the hotel’s location is really close to the train station, within walking distance. The lobby is nice, corridors are very outdated, but our room was definitely better than my expectations - very clean, comfortable and modern. After reading some other reviews, I think we got one of the newly renovated rooms as it seems others may have not been as lucky. Breakfast was basic and not very appetising. The staff, however, were extremely friendly and always willing to help.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had – avoid at all costs! This place was a complete disaster from start to finish. The staff were shockingly rude and completely indifferent. It felt like guest comfort was the last thing on their minds. The room was tiny, and the bathroom was disgustingly small and poorly cleaned. The toilet area was almost unusable. The air conditioning didn’t work properly – it only blew freezing cold air that couldn’t be adjusted. We were literally shivering in the room.As if that wasn’t enough, there was a cat roaming freely in the corridor. Totally unhygienic and unprofessional.Breakfast was an absolute joke – cold, tasteless, and barely edible. It looked like they just threw some leftovers together. This hotel is not worth a single cent. It was a waste of money and a complete disappointment. Do yourself a favor and don’t even walk past it.

My Honest Review of Hotel Holiday – Sarajevo Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Holiday was very disappointing. From the moment I checked in, I realized this hotel hasn't kept up with modern standards. 🛏 Room The air conditioner in my room wasn't working, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable—especially in warm weather. The room and facilities felt old and worn-out, definitely in need of renovation. 👨‍💼 Service The staff was trying to be helpful, but there’s only so much they can do with an outdated property. I could see the effort, but the overall quality of service was poor. 📍 Location The hotel has a decent location, and you can reach some important spots easily, but that’s probably the only highlight. 🍽 Food I had breakfast, and honestly, I don’t recommend it. It lacked quality and variety, especially for a hotel claiming four stars. 💳 Payment I paid through an agent, and the payment process was not smooth at all. I’d recommend double-checking your booking and method of payment beforehand. 🚗 Parking There is free parking available at the hotel, which was a plus. ♿ Accessibility There are elevators, making it accessible for people with mobility challenges. 🔇 Noise Surprisingly, the hotel was quiet at night, so at least I could sleep without external disturbances.

Ladies at the front desk were very nice. But ,NO pool, sauna or gym. The Whole basement is under construction for what looks to be a very long time so far. However online they deliberately fail to tell you this before booking.. and still have all the pictures of when it had the nice pool and spa facilities.. Not impressed. And they still charge you like the hotel is complete. Too expensive taken this into account. Surly gotta be better options.. if I could get my money back now and leave I would. P.S (To the manager..be transparent and update your website and you may avoid bad reviews like this.. may keep you in a job also) Update after first night. And had to up it to 3 stars because the room is good, shower etc great and has a huge big window that can be opened fully with no silly "safety" latch. The Included breakfast was also pretty good

Beautiful brutalist historic hotel in Sarajevo that has sadly not had the needed investment to keep up to modern standards. The Hotel: A beautiful brutalist structure with a lot of character, however sadly the finish and furnishings just do not show off the architecture in the way it should. Dated old furniture, seemingly abandoned areas on the ground floor, a leaking water fountain in the lobby, cheap white florescent lighting, a reception area right out of a soviet spy novel. The whole thing was really set off by the LED holographic naked-dancing lady advertisement for the local strip club in the lobby beside the elevators. The Room: I was lucky in my group to end up in one of the newly renovated rooms on the 7th floor (others were not so lucky). The main room was spacious and clean, and furniture was new, stylish and functional. However the renovation was only skin deep: some fixtures and fittings had not been renovated and were in terrible condition. There was a large hole in the wall in the bathroom which had been covered by a plastic cover, but the cover had fallen off. The bath and shower were dated and stained. The door to the room looked original from 1984 and didn't close well – there was a chain but it appeared like it had been forced open/closed several times and was bent out of shape. The window mechanism fell apart as soon as I opened it in my room. The door itself only closed if pushed hard, which meant that the room was unlocked for large portions of the day after housekeeping visited. The bathroom was functional but looked dated. A full renovation would be needed to bring this up to a modern standard. The Service: The staff at checkin were friendly and helpful. However housekeeping was extremely haphazard. Some days the room was tidied and the bathroom cleaned, others just towels changed, some days no towel change but bed made, some days no consumables replenished. I used the tea sachets on the first day and these were not replaced until the 4th day despite daily cleaning service. Overall unpredictable. The breakfast was... I mean it was a fun talking point for our group. The breakfast room literally is like stepping into socialist 1984 complete with tobacco-stained curtains, wood paneling and cheap florescent lighting. For some reason the breakfast room seems to have no windows and therefore no natural light. Breakfast is a strange mix of cheap low-quality food options (cheap boiled frozen vegetables, mushy salads, cheap sausages with gristle and bone in) and some other less terrible items (fried eggs were good, smoked cheese, spinach burek was nice). Coffee was extremely bad – most days Nescafé was the only option with a machine dispensing slightly brown water masquerading as instant coffee. Some days there was another machine dispensing real coffee but this was also bad just not quite as bad as the other machine... Overall a strange and interesting experience but not one that I would like to repeat...!

What an absolute dump. I don’t usually use words like this but can’t think of anything else to describe this place. It is stuck in the 80s if not earlier. The rooms are large but furnished with very old furniture. The bed is soft and we didn’t sleep well. The windows don’t keep the noise out, so we had the building next doors aircon noise droning away 24/7. And there are so many notices around telling you what you can’t do otherwise you will get charged for it. And the breakfast was a joke. We arrive just after 8am and most things were empty. The food was bland and cold. Many things needed replenishing. The orange juice was yuk and very watery. We didn’t bother with the coffee as couldn’t get anywhere near the machine due to other people in the way. The waiters were surly and not very friendly. We didn’t book the hotel, it was part of a prearranged packaged but will definitely be sharing this feedback with our travel agents. Do yourselves a favour. Don’t bother. There are much nicer 4 star hotels around, I’m sure. There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. It is cold, depressing and uninviting.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our Balkan tour. The hotel is quite central. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the bathtub wasn't clean. The hotel is pretty old. We had breakfast at this hotel — it had a good variety but the tables were not clean.
Burcu B — Google review
My honest review of Hotel Holiday, Sarajevo Stepping into the Holiday in Sarajevo is like entering a time capsule, unfortunately one that has not been dusted off since 1984. The building itself is a relic of bold, futuristic architecture from the Yugoslav days, with a lobby that still impresses at first glance. But that is where the good news ends. Once you move past the nostalgia, you are left wondering whether this hotel is truly a better choice than spending the night in a dumpster. To be fair, it does win by a slim margin. Arriving at the entrance sets the tone. With a noisy construction site next door, cars parked wherever they please, and a hotel employee occasionally shouting at drivers like a frustrated traffic cop, there is no organization at all. Enter the lobby and you will notice only one of the sliding doors works. Right after that broken entrance, a giant advertisement for a striptease club welcomes you. The reception area has not been updated since Sarajevo hosted the Winter Olympics, and the staff seem to have missed out on any hospitality training. Do not be fooled by the website photos of “renovated” rooms. Most floors were left untouched and the majority of rooms look exactly as they did decades ago. Our own room was not renovated. Carpets were grim, furniture broken, and the bed both hard and springy. Lighting was so poor we felt like we were living in permanent twilight. The AC unit appeared original, filters untouched, while broken outlets made us question whether plugging in a phone was safe. Showering was another challenge. Unless you have mastered the art of water control, you will flood the bathroom. A sign reading “do not shower outside of bathtub” made it even more absurd. To top it off, our room came with a price list for every single item, as if anyone would want to steal the worn-out furniture. Then there is the shopping mall bizarrely bolted onto the side of the hotel. As a result, some rooms face a blank wall or, worse, a roaring AC system from the mall. Breakfast is its own saga. Signs lead you to a depressing, windowless room where daylight is literally blocked by the mall’s walls. Only later, if another guest takes pity on you, do you discover a second breakfast room with windows. Wi-Fi in the rooms is almost non-existent, with only faint traces detectable in the lobby. In the middle of the lobby a fountain leaks water all over the floor, and nobody seems to care. The swimming pool is still advertised but is actually closed. The entire scene feels like a metaphor for how this once-celebrated hotel is being run. The real insult is the price, over €100 a night. At that rate, this is not just disappointing, it feels like a property being kept alive only to extract as much money as possible. I have stayed in plenty of hotels in need of renovation, but where management still tried their best with what they had. Here, everything reeks of corporate neglect and a “who cares” attitude. I also cannot reconcile my experience with the glowing 5/5 reviews online, because it feels like we are not talking about the same place. This hotel used to be one of the architectural prides of Sarajevo. Today it is a disaster. We traveled with a small group and had a long discussion about the state the hotel is in, which is why I decided to write this review in the hope it might nudge management toward change. Unless you are an urban archaeologist researching the decline of Yugoslav modernism, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

We stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. We would like to especially thank Lejla at the reception, who was truly amazing with us and our daughters. Her availability, kindness, and professionalism made our stay much more enjoyable: whenever we needed anything, even the smallest request, Lejla was always ready to help us with a smile. We would also like to praise Amra, the housekeeper, who is simply fantastic. Our room was always perfectly clean and tidy when she was taking care of it, which made our stay very comfortable. Unfortunately, on the days she wasn’t present, we noticed that the cleanliness was not at the same level, and we had to contact the reception several times over multiple days to have the room properly cleaned. Despite this small inconvenience, the professionalism, courtesy, and dedication of Lejla and Amra deserve a special thank you: thanks to them, our stay was truly enjoyable.

The biggest issue: we didn’t get the room we booked. The listing clearly showed a room with a balcony and panoramic windows — instead, we were given a ground-floor room with small windows facing a trash area. And since we arrived late in the evening, we had no chance to cancel. Next morning at the reception i was told that they don’t do refund nor they can give us the room I booked. Another problem: EV charging. The charger in the building wasn’t working, so we were sent to another location — but the price was the same: €20, regardless of how much you charge. I had asked about the cost before arrival, and they refused to disclose it, saying I’d learn the price at reception. I couldn’t imagine it would be so unreasonably high. The bed was rock-hard — I woke up sore after just one night. Reception was there only to charge us. They wouldn’t help with any issues and refused to contact management. When we asked to cancel the rest of our stay the next morning, they declined, saying there were no other rooms and nothing could be done. We ended up leaving and booking a better, AND cheaper place in the city center.

No amenities, no air conditioning in the room, and no soundproofing meant I couldn't sleep well; it was a nightmarish day. We asked the receptionist to fix something in our room, but she ignored us and treated us badly. Moreover, she didn't even show us the facilities at the hotel, like other hotels do. Her name is Elina, and she is really unprofessional. If you keep this girl at the hotel, you will lose your customers. It was a horrible experience, and I don't recommend anyone to book there."
Razaz A — Google review
The receptionists are super unprofessional they messed up the booking from the people behind me with mine, even tho I said many times that we don’t belong together. They claimed that I said I will check out at 10 and when I got to the reception there was not even the same staff from the day I checked in. Apparently they didn’t communicate that I had a later check out but made this my problem and terrorised me on the phone pushing me out of the room. Luckily someone could solve the problem, which was that they did not communicate. But the telephone terror before was horrible. How can you claim I said I leave at 10 when you were not even checking me in. And of course no apology for the telephone terror where they pressured me to leave which was before 11. They had 1 job to do and failed it. I cannot recommend this hotel. The breakfast looked disgusting, too. Feeling kicked out even tho they made a mistake is so unprofessional, I never had a situation like this. How can you mix up to separate check ins? Better stay away from this hotel or make sure they don’t check in 2 separate people at once bc the ladies can definitely not deal with that.

Very nice hotel, clean and spacious,10 min walk to city centre. Underground parking. We stayed in apartment and we strongly recommend.
Kasia L — Google review
Very convenient location. Though as others have said, it's a steep walk uphill to get to it; if you have a car, they have free parking onsite. They also have a shuttle that will take you around town at a reasonable price, or you can call a cheap taxi in five minutes. A little hard to find the turn off from Terezia the first time (there's a high but kind of obscure sign to turn right), but after that it's simple. Great apartment amenities. It was quiet, and our first floor room had a balcony with a small table and chairs. Not a fan of the shower which had a rainfall showerhead and tended to let water get all over the floor. But what really made this place stand out was the incredible service provided by Muhamed at the front desk, who went way out of his way to try to fix something for us that had nothing to do with the hotel. Can't say enough about him. This is where we'll stay when we come back to Sarajevo.

The only 2 things that make it 3 stars are the location and the staff. Rooms are poor and tiny. No blackout for the sun, so you wake up with sun rise. The sink of the toilet is the smallest I have ever come across, but the shower is good. Very small cabinet with no drawers. Breakfast has limited choices, but it is OK. Staff is great and very cooperative.

Pansion River is a charming and cozy guesthouse located on the edge of the old town, offering a delightful balcony overlooking the river and green hills. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and guests can enjoy a generous breakfast. The rooms are clean, warm, and offer amazing views. Additionally, the homemade food served at the guesthouse is highly recommended. Its ideal location makes it easy to explore nearby sights in Sarajevo.
Hidden Gem in Sarajevo! Truly a unique place with a warm, kind, and caring family running it! The rooms are cozy and inviting, and the terrace above the river offers a breathtaking view—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee in peace. The location is superb—just a 3-minute walk from the heart of Sarajevo’s Old Town, yet tucked away enough to offer calm and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle. If you want to experience something beyond the cold, standard hotel feel and truly connect with the spirit of Sarajevo, I highly recommend this special spot. It’s a place you’ll remember.

A Hidden Gem by the River – Truly Memorable Stay at Pansion River! I had the pleasure of staying at Pansion River in Sarajevo, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. The location is simply perfect — right by the river with beautiful views, and just a short walk to the heart of the Old Town. The rooms were cozy, spotless, and tastefully decorated, offering a peaceful and comfortable stay. I felt truly welcomed by the kind and attentive staff, who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The service was warm and personal, which made a big difference. What made my stay even more special was the restaurant downstairs. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was a delight. The ambiance of the restaurant, with views of the river and a relaxed atmosphere, made it one of the best dining experiences I had in Sarajevo. If you’re looking for a place with charm, comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality — Pansion River is the perfect choice. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Sarajevo!

It is the perfect spot to stay in Sarajevo - the historical part of the city is just a few minutes of walking away, the staff is very friendly and we did not miss anything. So - if you are looking for a place to feel home - then it is highly recommended. Thanks for making our stay so great!

The staff was very friendly, and the location is great and close to the city centre, and nice view of the beautiful river. Breakfast was average, perhaps limited. However, the rooms were dirty! (all but the bathrooms, thankfully) I regret not taking any photos of it, but there was strange stuff on the walls, spider webs, etc. At one point, I heard what I assume to be insects (termites? cockroaches?) inside of the wall and couldn't sleep for a bit because I am a very paranoid person. I believe(hope) these owners can do a better job of cleaning and maybe calling pest control.

Diamond Rain Boutique Hotel is a charming 4-star accommodation located in Sarajevo, just 500 meters from Latin Bridge. The hotel offers a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace, and a restaurant. Guests can enjoy the indoor pool and sauna or seek assistance from the 24-hour front desk and tour desk. With its pleasant staff and convenient amenities such as on-site parking, this new and clean boutique hotel is ideal for both business and family travelers.
Lovely hotel! I have to say the best part of the experience was the amazing Ali at reception. His warmth and 5-star service was something I have rarely seen in the hotel industry. I hope management seriously consider what an asset he is to them. My mother, who was a nervous driver, had some difficulty with the parking, but Ali assisted us with such enthusiasm and we left all the parking to him. It was a pleasure seeing him, with such positive demeanour each day. Faruk was also excellent - very kind, helpful and respectful. Our room (305) at the top was lovely, and we were overall satisfied with our stay. For the price of the hotel, however, the breakfast should definitely be improved (fried eggs were served cold everyday, few vegetable and fruits options that were good, etc). I also recommend checking in with hotel before hand if you plan to drive to the hotel (you may not want to take the google map route).

This year was my third time to stay here. Ali and his co workers are so polite and helpful the rooms are lovely and most comfortable beds plus a lovely swimming pool in the basement I highly recommend Diamond Rain.
Michael K — Google review
It is really nice that the accommodation has a sauna and a pool. The breakfast is pretty ok - in the photo it's only part of the breakfast. The earlier you come the warmer it is. The room was always clean. I loved that the bathroom floor is heated. The location is great, close to old city center. You can pay with card. We initially booked a Deluxe room with city view, but they didn't have a double bed, only twin beds - although the title said it can be double or twins.

First of all I would like to thank the guy at the reception he was extremely nice and friendly and could speak English as well. The only reason why I gave 4 not 5 starts was my room. I was disappointed but I came late from the airport and have stayed just for two nights so I didn't want to change it as I was so tired. The room number was 305, I didn't care about the view at all but it was really small. My family came a day later as far as I remember they were in 301 suit it was really great!!!! My room was small and smelled really bad. And I didn't have any towels but thanks to the guy at the reception he gave me a couple. After HK came in the morning I ve got two more cleas towels. The first day I went to the breakfast really early and it was really good the next day we went together with my family almost everything was finished. The hotel is around 7 minutes walking to the old city, around 5 minutes walking to shop Amko where they accept cards. All in all it is a nice hotel. They have just 4 parking slots. The 5th on in infront of the hotel at the street. It is a quiet place. There is a pool inside but we didn't use it. Would I recommend it? Definitely yes because of the nice staff but prefer suit rooms. P.s as I came in the holiday time in the evening all the stores were closed I wanted to buy some juice to drink but the guy told me they we out of it ;( it was a pity. Lucky that had kettle so I was able to make some tea after the flight.

True comfort, luxury and character are just a few attributes that describes this old town gem! Beautiful small hotel with private parking, lounge, small bar, elevator, swimming pool, salt room, sauna to name the few! It is all modern, lush and comfy with lots of lights and windows. One of the best furnished boutique hotels in old town Sarajevo! Very private and secluded, yet short walk from everything.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Diamond Rain hotel in Sarajevo and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, making me feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, modern and tastefully decorated, providing all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel is conveniently located near many of Sarajevo's top attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Additionally, the hotel offers excellent dining options, with a wide range of delicious local and international cuisine. What really stood out to me about Diamond Rain hotel, however, was the level of service provided by the staff. They were always available to assist with any queries or concerns and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was a memorable one. Overall, I would highly recommend Diamond Rain hotel to anyone visiting Sarajevo. It's a fantastic hotel with top-notch facilities and an unbeatable level of service. I can't wait to visit again!

We had everything we needed, it’s near the center of the city but in a calm neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our stay.
Maryam G — Google review
This hotel has 4 stars. But this must be some mistake! It should have at least 5 stars! It has great rooms, breakfast is nice, personal is pleasant, and as a small boutique hotel it has pool with small sauna. Negative side is that parking is not cosy and that street where hotel is located is not easy to navigate especial if you have bigger car. Although locations of hotel is close to city center so you will not need car often. I recommend hotel to businesses but also family travel as well.

Loved staying here so much. First time staying in an apartment hotel and I'm convinced it's the best way to travel. The price is great. The location is almost unbeatable because it's just across the street from the old town and yet nice and quiet. The owner was super responsive and helpful with any questions. The rooms was very roomy and clean.

The greatest location! Cozy rooms with basic amenities and excellent communication with the owner. A hidden VfM. The most important, 2 minutes from the bus stop to airport.

Very nice small hotel! Beds are comfortable, the host is great. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient location in Sarajevo with a short walk to the old town, yet the street itself is quiet and gives you a good nights sleep. There is also a supermarket located just right next to it.

We stayed in Toplik house one night. The location is amazing. It’s a little bit hard to find a good parking place. The room was clean. Spacious. The bed were very comfortable. I think the only thing missing was a mini fridge. Other than that it was great. Highly recommend 👍

What a gem of a place! Right in the heart of the old part of the city- a stones throw from the city hall and the fountain. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel to it. Very very clean and comfortable. The rooms are modern and cheery. The bathroom had a rain shower! The staff- Ahmad, Edena and Amelia were so friendly and lovely- going out of their way. Amazing value for money, exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to go back :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Hotel in a Great Location We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Old Sarajevo! The location is unbeatable—right in a pedestrian zone, surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions within walking distance. Our room was clean, modern, and well maintained. The housekeeping team was cheerful and clearly proud of their work. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us maps, directions, and tips on what to see nearby. They even helped us find a local store to buy SIM cards. A lovely touch: one staff member brought us iced water on a hot day—so thoughtful and appreciated! The room was a comfortable size and had everything we needed. Special thanks to the hotel for arranging our airport pickup with Omo, a fantastic, safe driver who spoke perfect English and made us feel at ease right away. Highly recommend this hotel—we’ll definitely stay here again!

The location is as good as it can get if you plan on walking around the city. Within minutes to many choices of restaurants, shops, etc. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the rooms were very nice. Also is quite quiet, especially considering it is in a busy area. The breakfast was also very good.

A very good modern boutique three star hotel in an excellent location in old town. The rooms are small but clean, modern and well maintained. The rooms may be a bit pricy for a three star hotel, but that is justified by the prime location and excellent service provided.

The receptionist was absolutely lovely, allowing me to store my luggage with her, whilst also offering us coffee and water. Thank you very much!

Hotel Old Sarajevo is a truly charming boutique hotel, possibly one of the most updated accommodations within the old town. The interior exudes a unique and welcoming atmosphere, blending modern comfort with the historic surroundings. The staff here go above and beyond, surpassing Balkan standards with their friendliness and genuine hospitality. They were always on hand, offering assistance and ensuring our stay was as pleasant as possible. It's important to note that as the hotel is located in the old town, hence there are no lifts available. Additionally, for those traveling by car, paid parking is available nearby, and I highly recommend making a reservation in advance for a smoother arrival experience. *Some tips: Pack a overnight bag or a lighter luggage if you are able to store the bigger luggage in the car. While the rooms were clean, it requires some extra cleaning attention to maintain the highest standards . Nevertheless, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the unique character of the hotel and the exceptional service provided by the staff.

Cant express how happy I am with this experience! - location is amazing at the heart of the old town - room is very clean and modern - bed is comfy - price is very reasonable - host is an amazing guy and there are also a couple of nice ladies who are very cooperative and friendly! - parking is available if you request for extra cost 10€. I suggest you find a street parking around the area as long as you make sure its a proper one. Thank you so much brother!

Whatever you do, don’t get a room here. They will send you a message and say they have to cancel your room last minute because it’s ‘overbooked’. But they will not actually cancel it and wait for you to do it, so they don’t have any consequences and there is a cancellation fee. If you call them about this they say they are ‘in a hurry’ and hang up the phone. Only when I contacted Booking, they canceled it. Be careful!

We stayed there for like 3 nights and everything was perfectly fine. The staff was nice, room was pretty good. I loved the roof window. The best part about little sweet hotel is its central very accessible location. It's like a min away from the center of the bascarsija, basically you can go anywhere on foot. Close to bars too...

The room was kind of expensive for the size and for a Balkan country. Also there was obvious damages on the walls (large holes and damaged accessories). The host was very kind and caring and it was in a great location.

I stayed here for one night. I made a complaint about noise at 5 am to one of the staff members and instead of empathizing with me she decided to get rude with me. The other person that works there Ismar was also very rude and entitled. The rooms are nice but the staff are unkind. Very unfortunate experience.

Visited Saravejo over the summer. Came into town very late at midnight from Mostar. I wanted to book Bebek but couldn’t complete the booking online in time. I was stranded and had no where to stay and the door to Bebek was secured. There was a number on the door and I thought I would try my luck and call. I had woken up a very kind gentleman that immediately came from his home to accommodate me. He welcomed me in, helped direct me where to park my vehicle, showed me a beautiful room with a balcony and trusted me to stay the night and pay in the morning. The heart and soul of the people of Saravejo astounded me!! My tour the next morning was right down the street! I highly recommend Bebek guesthouse ! Nestled right in the heart of the city, this charming bed and breakfast offers beautifully designed rooms that promise comfort with their plush beds and excellent noise insulation. Guests rave about the friendly service and reasonable prices, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking both quality and value. During my month-long stay at Promenade Inn, I truly felt at home.
I lived in this place 1 month and it’s was my real home. Very good location - center of the center. Beautiful rooms, very very very comfortable bed, good noise isolation, very kind service, good prices!! For me everything was perfect. * it’s in front of the church, so you hear the bells even with closed windows, so I recommend you to have earplugs for the night/mornings.

I recently stayed at a hotel where the room was shockingly untidy and clearly hadn't been cleaned for months. The floor was littered with hairs from different people, making it feel extremely unhygienic. Dust coated every surface, and there were used cups and wrappers scattered around. The bathroom was no better, with a grimy sink and towels tossed haphazardly. To make matters worse, there was no phone connection with the reception, and it seemed there was no reception desk at all. There was no one available to help or address these issues. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing and uncomfortable experience.
Daniel N — Google review
The appartement was very dirty. There were hair strains in the bed and around the bed. Crumbs on the floor. The towels were in a basket with a toiletpapier holder. Overal it looked like it had not been cleaned properly in a while. Also The appartements of promenade inn are very central, but right behind a very loud party street which gives you no rest. This is not mentioned beforehand. We called promenade inn to ask for cleaning service, first few attempts there was no response at all. After finally speaking to someone on the phone, they said someone would come. However no one came. We had to cancel our booking and find an place to stay around midnight. We still have not received a response about retribution of our money. Will be posting reviews untill we receive our money back!!
Nina Z — Google review
Well, the place maybe okay, but it doesn't suit the described on booking parameters: - no freezer and no mini-bar - no bath accessories - the bed we booked was king-size, but it was a small regular one - no water bottles - of course, no breakfast (announced also) - no bulbs in the lamps next to the bed And concerning the place itself: - the towels are super hard. There is mocking sigh in the toilet "ladies, please, don't remove the makeup with the towels". If you put a promised bath supplies, they would not do it! And surely, they removed both makeup and skin with these towels - only one big towel was provided, while we were 2 guests - no one meets you anywhere and you should guess how to enter. And you should have the internet to text them! - room wasn't clean. I've found curly hair on the floor of the bathroom and on the side of the bad. Hope, it's the hair of the head -hardly visible branding outside the building, so it's a challenge even to find the entrance To the honor of the place: we required to move out the next day after moving in, so they didn't charge us the price of nights we would not live in (we paid only the spent night, it is okay) And how it was argumented by the place? Like "what do you want for this price?". I want that what is promised and clean bed. If you don't provide smth - don't write it! Tourists don't know prices of the city and are not obligated to make an investigation before
Natalia T — Google review
Terrible experience! TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! The room was last cleaned at least 2-3 weeks ago, there were hair from several different people all over. No reception and once you enter the room upon instructions, as of then noone is picking up the phone or answering messages. It's a scam to which you are forced to sleep on those dirty sheets. NEVER GO THERE, IT'S A SCAM!!!!

The hotel's location is fantastic and the price is budget-friendly. However, the rooms are outdated and could use a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, there's no air conditioning, and I arrived to find a wet blanket and bed cover. The staff was helpful in replacing them, though. Overall, it's a suitable option for a short, cheap stay of one or two nights.

Budget hotel in the old district of Sarajevo. few minutes walk to everything. The staff are super helpful and on hand 24-hours a day. It is basic and attention to curtains falling from rails could be dealt with. Beds were clean and comfy and hot water showers. Great place to sleep but not to hang out at, each room varies in its style. Spend 5 nights here whilst out hiking during the day.

+ Excellent location near Baščaršija - the heart and soul of Sarajevo. Very nice staff, especially the receptionist Mia, a really lovely helpful girl with a passion for her work :-) The room was clean, the bed was an ordinary single, but comfortable enough, in the bathroom everything worked as it has to work. - Very weak wi-fi in room B03 on the second floor. The hotel has several access points but it was impossible to connect to the one that showed a good signal. To catch at least some signal from another point, I had to move the bed closer to the door. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom. Breakfasts are not served for individual guests, but there is Baščaršija nearby with plenty of places to eat it. There was also a little lack of a fridge but I understand that in this category it is not required. However, I think I will stay here one more time if I go to Sarajevo again - as Mia said, the hotel was not even a year old at the time when I was there, so I really hope that the wi-fi problem is going to be fixed, it will work perfect throughout all the hotel and shower gel with shampoo also will appear in the rooms.

The location is perfect. It is centre of the Bascarsija. The public transportation stop is near to the hotel
Mümin A — Google review
You can’t beat the location but be prepared for the rest. You will have to walk up 2 or 3 flights of narrow stairs to get to your room. Then you are asked not to flush the used toilet paper instead throw it in the trash. The bathroom stinks and the smell could make you puke. They recommend you park at Europe Hotel where the charge is $2 an hour or $20 for 24 hrs. There is no place to stop to take out your luggage so you need to carry it a couple of blocks to get to the hotel. Make sure to have a small car because the spaces are tight. Would never stay here again.

I was there on September 2 2015. The hotel itself is terrible but the reception guy was very professional and a great guy not the reception lady from evening. The room I stayed was not clean enough, the water messed everywhere after I took shower because the shower door was not working well, you could hear all the voices from outside, some of the door handles were broken, and the room was too hot with no A/C. The only good things were the reception guy and the breakfast. So, stay away from there.

We travel often but this is the most charming hotel we've been to! We spent three days in Sarajevo and chose this hotel that really impressed us, just a few minutes walk from the center, secured parking space, rooms very clean and excellent heating. Particular charm is given by people who work there and we never met so kind working stuff! All recommendations!

I lived here for here 6 days with my two kids. Very pleasant stay, both the apartment and the host were great! The location are ultimate for a tourist, it is practically in the Old town and very close to City hall, also close to the Trebevic cable car. The apartment is very clean and fresh. There is a good AC. The bed sofa was one of the best I ever had, as comfy as a bed. There is a kitchen with most of the things you can expect and/or need for a short stay. The host was super friendly and was quick to answer whenever we had some questions. Highly recommend!

(Translated by Google) The apartment is in an ideal location, about 300 m from Baščaršija. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. A small drawback is the private parking lot, but with a little luck you can find a place to park in front of the building (we managed 😀) or park in a public garage. All in all, the facility justifies the invested money. Sve u svemu objekat opravdava uložen novac .

I also highly recommend arranging the airport transfer with the host. (Original) Gerçekten güzel bir konaklama yeriydi, merkeze çok yakın. Burada 4 gece kaldık. The cheeky answer we got was "you can't now!". We left the same second with the words that it's no wonder that his garden is empty and we hope it stays that way.
