Boutique Hostel Forum is a newly built property located in the heart of ancient Zadar, offering modern rooms and dorms with some featuring sea views. The accommodation units are air-conditioned and equipped with free Wi-Fi. Situated next to historical landmarks such as St. Anastasia's Cathedral and the Roman Forum, the hostel provides easy access to cafes, restaurants, and shops in the Old Town.
I stayed here last year, the location in the Old Town is excellent especially with a 24 hour reception, which was handy as I rolled in the other side of midnight from my flight! I chose a private room rather than the dorm options. It was small, but clean & comfortable & the view from the generous windows was fantastic. The bathroom was compact & quite quirky with the black & white tiling. Not a great amount of options for breakfast but enough to keep everyone happy. Overall very good value for a place to stay in the city.
Chas D — Google review
• The location is perfect — one of the best points. • The bed was comfortable. • You don’t need to bring a padlock, as the room key card also works for the locker. • The guy at reception was very kind and they are open 24hours so i didn’t have problem making a late check-in • Only complaint: it would be nice if breakfast were included in the price. • I saw a hair dryer in the pictures, but there wasn’t one in the shared room — I was disappointed. 😞 • They have air conditioning. • If you close the window, you won’t hear any noise. And please clean more often the toilets when is a shared room because sometimes Felt like it wasnt enough
P L — Google review
Be aware! I stayed here a few years ago and everything was fantastic. Unfortunately, now it’s impossible to sleep here. A new nightclub has opened in the building, with loud music playing until 5:00 AM. The rooms have no sound insulation, and the air conditioning has a bad smell. After all these years, there seems to be no proper care for the rooms or the overall environment
Marian S — Google review
Location is absolutely fantastic, and I would say that it is worth staying here for that. But the rooms are very average and quite dirty. Super loud with the night club next door. With closed window and ear plugs it worked ok. I was aware it was noisy before arriving, but chose to stay for the convenience of the location. A bit expensive. If breakfast would be included the value would go up a lot in my opinion.
Julia E — Google review
You get what you pay for with a hostel- it was a bit loud and bright in the rooms, even with the curtains shut. it’s definitely small in the twin double room but cheap and SUPER close and convenient to the city center. No elevator. Breakfast was ok for a quick bite but probably wouldn’t fill you completely up. Overall I would stay again and recommend as long as you know what to expect with hostel level accommodations!
Olivia L — Google review
Absolute perfect location right in the heart of Zadar. Great clean rooms with a towel. The “kitchen” Is super rudimentary. There’s no place to cook with a stove top just a microwave & bar fridge.
Sam D — Google review
Great location, rooms are pretty good- offer a lot of privacy for a hostel bed. Only feedback is to keep a vending machine or a first aid kit with women hygiene products (tampons, sanitary napkins etc.). The city was closed for a public holiday and I had to go up to strangers on the street to ask for napkins- quite stressful, could have been avoided if hostel was equipped.
Rutika R — Google review
The hostel is OK, you get what you pay for, stuff is nice. BUT THE NIGHT CLUB just next to hostel is TERRIBLE. Prepare that until 5 am you will hear loud music and even when you lay down - you can hear the bass vibrate in your bed, which is insane. So if you are not planning on partying all night long - AVOID THIS HOSTEL. Not even earplugs help :(( The worst experience ever.

Niko is a boutique hotel with a chic seafood restaurant situated in the Puntamika area of Ayia Napa. The rooms are stylish and relaxing, with views of the old city, while the restaurant offers an extraordinary view of the sea.
We greatly enjoyed our three-night stay at this comfortable hotel, with its nostalgic vintage appeal and plush décor.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, about 10 minutes from the historic center. Ordering an Uber to Old Zadar was very easy. The rooms were spotless and, with their comfortable beds, provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. We also enjoyed the beach right in front of the hotel, with its crystal-clear water. The reception staff were very friendly and personable.
Breakfast, served in the opulent dining room with a wonderful view of the ocean and Zadar, offered a variety of fresh and local options. The highlight was the excellent, freshly prepared made-to-order breakfast dishes.
Parking at the hotel is free. We highly recommend this hotel for its quiet location, comfortable accommodations, great value, and delicious breakfast — all of which made our stay truly memorable.

We stayed for two weeks and had easily the best holiday ever. It's a wonderful family business that provides the best of Croatia. The hotel is great, very comfy for its size and impeccably clean; the restaurant is second to none; the staff are amiable in a way that cannot be faked; and the area is quiet, never overcrowded, and you can get a good rest at night even with the balcony doors open. The beach across the road is great, and you get free sunbeds and parasols and beach towels, so there's no need to go anywhere else. We will definitely return for years to come. A massive THANK YOU to the proprietors and all the staff, can't wait until next summer!
Davor A — Google review
Lovely small hotel. Big, clean rooms. Exceptional service on the reception, as well as in the restaurant. Delicious food of great quality. Parking on the spot available. The beach is right in front.

We stayed for three nights in this very pleasant hotel. Rooms wereld very nice and clean. Breakfast, location all great but the stand out was the staff. Most friendly and helpfull I ever experienced. Of I Come back to lovely Zadar I surely Will stay again at Niko Hotel.
Marcel H — Google review
I’ve eaten grilled fish all over the region and Niko serves the best I’ve had. The fish is great quality and the cooking is exceptional, with a wonderful balance between the smoky crispness of the grilled skin and the delicate taste of the flesh. The blitva is also amazing - they make this simple side dish taste very special.
Paul J — Google review
There's a fabulous restaurant at this hotel where we had a delightful dinner. The rooms are classic and beautiful.

This is a great place to stay when in Zadar! It is a family owned boutique hotel with 15 rooms. Our room was spacious with a huge balcony that had an incredible view of the old town and of course the sea. Food was great! But the best part was the service. Just very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and a restaurant. I would stay here again!
Dejan D — Google review
Was a last minute booking. Great reception staff - knowledgeable and helpful. Arrived late and hungry. Restaurant staff quite good and suggestions also good. Breakfast quite good but hard fruit and I find this strange in a country with good fruit. Hotel itself interesting architecture. Rooms quite large and comfortable but old. That said, still very pleasant. Beach across quite good but not much shade possibility. Some trees but lots of bugs so didn’t last long. Overall happy with hotel.

Hotel
Hotel Bastion is a luxurious property located in the historic core of Zadar, offering refined accommodations, complimentary breakfast, a Mediterranean restaurant, and a spa. The hotel is a blend of history and modernity, situated within a 13th-century Venetian medieval fortress and surrounded by the UNESCO World Heritage-listed defense system of Zadar.
Hotel Bastion is a beautiful boutique hotel with stunning decor and impeccable top-tier service. We genuinely felt welcomed from arrival until our departure. Honorable mention to the Front Desk Manager at Check-in and Check-out for anticipating our needs without being asked! Our room for one night was stylish and comfortable with luxurious amenities and a beautiful view of the water. During our holiday, we were steps away from all the Old Town sights. Before retiring for the evening, we enjoyed a perfect nightcap and chat by our talented and knowledgeable server in the swanky hotel bar. Breakfast included not only a wonderful buffet, but also delicious made to order items and delightful service. Thank you for your flawless attention to detail throughout our visit.
L M — Google review
My wife and I had the most amazing experience at the Hotel Bastion. From the moment we checked in everyone went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. The woman in charge of the breakfast went above and beyond in assisting us and every morning inquired as to how we slept the neighbors before. The hotel is located inside the city walls close to the action but secluded enough for the privacy one needs while on holiday. I would enthusiastically recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Zadar!
Craig A — Google review
This is a great hotel for visiting Zadar. The team, especially Ivan at the front desk, Helena the masseuse, and the lovely dining staff, were top notch outstanding. The food was very, very good, albeit pretty pricey. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The view was very nice. The location is perfect. Walking distance to everything in Old Town. The only downside is that it’s a little hard to find if you’re driving and have to park. I can’t recommend highly enough. Excellent Hotel.
Mary M — Google review
Wonderful boutique hotel in a prime location. The staff were absolutely great, especially the front of house team. They were happy to valet our car, making parking a breeze. Getting in and out of the center of the city was surprisingly easy. Breakfast is both a buffet and a la carte. The room (we had the 002 suite) was cute and clean. I would happily stay here again. There’s a few waterfront bars nearby but despite this it was still quiet and dark in the room. Really great four star hotel.
Adoniram S — Google review
We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bastion. The rooms were luxurious and well appointed, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was convenient to the old town. However what made this stay even better was the staff, especially Ivan. He always had a smile, took ample time to answer our questions, and when we had an issue with the AC, Ivan quickly got us another room where it was working. Highly recommend!
Sandra M — Google review
If you're planning a trip to Zadar there's no need to search for another place to stay. Beautiful hotel in a historical location. The staff provided impeccable service and the breakfast was excellent. Our last morning there we checked out before breakfast started, since we were driving to Plitvice Lakes, and the staff ensured we had a breakfast boxes to take with us on our journey. The photo is from our room's window as the the sun was beginning to rise.
John D — Google review
We just returned from almost three weeks in Croatia and Italy, and Hotel Bastion was by far our favorite place we stayed. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect - the hotel staff is incredibly kind and helpful, the location is extremely central, the lobby bar area is cozy and comfortable, the rooms are charming, and the breakfasts are over-the-top delicious. Thank you for an exceptional stay. We hope to return!

Undoubtedly the best service in Croatia! All the staff are friendly, helpful and smile which made our stay extremely enjoyable! I highly recommend staying here if you are in Zadar. Thank you to the team at Bastion Hotel.

Spa
Located on the beach in Zadar, Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik is a 4-star hotel offering 258 air-conditioned rooms with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy beach sports, hiking, and biking in the surrounding area. The hotel features a spa center with sauna, massage, and hot tub facilities while kids can explore Falkyland. Additionally, there are tennis courts, volleyball facilities, and water sports available.
We recently stayed with our two kids (8 yrs and 4yrs) and had an amazing time. It was so well equipped for children. The kids loved the pool, the water slide and also the soft play area was great to have when us adults needed some downtime. And the arcade games were a big hit too! The food and drinks were excellent. Really varied and delicious and the bar with its well equipped snacks meant you could stay by the pool and fuel up. We always loved the water aerobics each day - the staff were always working hard and made it really fun. We were so impressed with the staff and how hard working everyone was. We also used the spa which was lovely and relaxing. And there’s a great shop on site including clothes, pool inflatables, toys, souvenirs. The resort is perfectly placed on the beach so you can easily stroll down and just soak up the atmosphere. I’d highly recommend going to Falkensteiner.
Lizzie M — Google review
We spent a full week at this hotel with our two young children (almost 3 and 5 years old), and we had an absolutely wonderful time. First of all, the food was fantastic — from breakfast to lunch and dinner, the buffets were rich, healthy, and delicious, with a clear Mediterranean influence. Everything was fresh and tasty, and none of us had any digestive issues, contrary to some of the reviews we had read before our stay. The hotel is truly family-oriented, and kids of all ages are warmly welcomed. But what really made our stay exceptional was the kids' play area and the amazing team of entertainers. Although our children barely understand English, they felt completely at ease with the staff from day one. The activities offered are fun, varied, and very well-organized: yoga, T-shirt painting, dance nights, cookie baking, creative workshops, and more. The staff is extremely trustworthy, and we had full confidence leaving our kids in their care — which also allowed us parents to enjoy a bit of downtime. I would highly recommend this hotel to any family looking for a truly family-friendly vacation spot in Croatia. We came back with great memories, happy kids, and the strong desire to return!
Stephanie P — Google review
We booked this hotel a long time ago based on recommendations, mainly because it was described as very child-friendly. We were really excited about our stay. However, before arrival on August 31st, we started reading some recent reviews mentioning a gastrointestinal virus outbreak at the hotel, especially affecting children. This was very concerning, but we tried to stay positive and take our own precautions. Unfortunately, on the evening of September 2nd, our son suddenly started vomiting. We had to spend the entire night at the hospital emergency room, where he was treated with an IV drip. It was a very stressful and worrying experience during what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. When we came back to the hotel, we wanted to inform the hotel doctor, but we were told the service was only available at an extra cost. We also shared our concerns with the reception, asking if there really was an outbreak, but we did not receive a clear answer. We were only told that “it was happening all around Zadar,” which felt dismissive. Sadly, we were directly affected by what seems to be a serious hygiene issue at the hotel. Whether it is related to food, water, or general cleanliness, we cannot say for sure, but it is very disappointing. Our son enjoyed the hotel facilities, but instead of the family holiday we had hoped for. Now we have to spend our last days isolated in our room. We sincerely hope the management takes this issue seriously and addresses the hygiene standards to prevent other families from going through the same unfortunate experience.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend We stayed at this resort for a week during the summer holidays, and if I could give negative stars, I would. Unfortunately, even one star feels too generous. The resort markets itself as "all-inclusive," but that couldn't be further from the truth. At nearly every turn, we were hit with extra charges. The arcade? Costs extra. Want a proper drink? That'll cost you too. The so-called "free" drinks were barely drinkable—only the beer was somewhat decent. Food options were extremely limited and disappointing. There’s only one restaurant, and the quality of the food was poor. Vegetarian choices were nearly nonexistent, and even basic service was lacking. Plates in the restaurant were often very dirty, and staff seemed indifferent to this. When our food was finished, we had to ask repeatedly for refills, which shouldn’t be the case in an all-inclusive resort. We also had to fetch our own wine (which was terrible) and coffee. The waitstaff seemed disengaged and uninterested. If you're a vegetarian or expecting quality meals as part of your stay, you’ll be forced to eat outside the resort—which defeats the purpose of an all-inclusive package. In fact, we found ourselves leaving the resort daily just to find decent food and activities worth our time and money. The pool was okay, though not particularly memorable. The only positive aspect of the stay was the entertainment staff, who genuinely made an effort to keep guests engaged. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For such a large resort, it was frustrating that there was only one person at reception at all times. While he was doing his best to attend to guests, it wasn’t nearly enough. This was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve had, especially with children. It’s overpriced, underwhelming, and the “all-inclusive” label is misleading at best.
P R — Google review
Fantastic staff, who will do anything to help. We ended up staying at the resort due to overbooking at the campsite next door. Unfortunately the room wasn’t big enough and due to high season, there were no alternatives. The old wing has been renovated, but cheaply; air conditioning is poor, electrical sockets not working or hanging off the wall, and a smell of damp. Be careful which room you get as ours was near the arcade and so you could hear noise at all hours! Would benefit from blackout curtains. Really enjoyed the spa area, gym and exercise classes. Would not choose to stay here again.
Sarah H — Google review
Currently staying here and really enjoying it! The food is super tasty with lots of variety and the staff are all so friendly and always smiling. The spa is absolutely amazing, perfect for relaxing. Overall, such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Overpriced disappointment – hotel takes no responsibility We stayed at Falkensteiner Croatia from July 23rd to 30th in what was supposed to be a “Family Room.” We paid €3,400 for the week and expected a high standard. What we got was a poorly maintained and neglected room that looked nothing like the photos. We reported the problems right away. Only the hallway light was eventually fixed – the rest was ignored. A staff member even admitted the room should not have been rented in that state. Still, the hotel has refused to take any responsibility. No apology, no compensation, nothing. After contacting them post-stay and sending photo documentation, their response was to simply dismiss our complaint and refuse any refund. For a hotel charging premium prices, this is outrageous. Terrible customer service, no accountability, and misleading marketing. We feel scammed. Do yourself a favor – avoid this hotel.
Jonas H — Google review
The best vacation experience – ten out of ten! We spent 7 nights at this hotel from June 18–25 and were absolutely thrilled. We had high expectations, and the entire experience exceeded them by far. This is a place we would love to return to as soon as possible. The food at the buffet was well-prepared and delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes and plenty of variation. Service was top-notch! The snack bar was perfect for satisfying hungry stomachs after fun and refreshing pool time. The bar offered a great selection of drinks, and every cocktail we tried was excellent. Service in the bar was amazing – always friendly and efficient, even in 30-degree heat and with lots of orders. And now to what made the experience even better… the entertainment! Outstanding entertainment for both kids and adults by Jeton and his team! I wish I could mention every name because they all did such a fantastic job and radiated joy and energy. They take such wonderful care of the children and do everything they can to help them create beautiful memories. My daughter Stella absolutely loved the activities and the evening disco – she felt truly seen and included. Thank you all so much for this! Hope to see you again!

Hotel Kolovare in Zadar is a beachfront hotel offering relaxed rooms and apartments, with sea views. The property features two restaurants, outdoor pools, and complimentary breakfast. It's conveniently located near historical sites such as the Port Gate and National Museum Zadar. Guests can enjoy recreational activities like tennis and swimming while taking in the serene surroundings of pine forests and coastal promenades.
Very nice four star hotel located a 15 minute walk from center of Zadar, and a 1 minute walk from the beach. The breakfast is rich and nice, there is a cool pool, the staff is super cool too. The rooms are clean, some have a very nice window view, some a bit less, but all in all it is a very nice place to stay in Zadar.
Kruha P — Google review
Hotel Kolovare has a very nice staff as well as location. What we found excelent is the pool with sea water. The salty sea water brought us a great relax. I would appreciate a handle by the pool entrance, it would secure entering the pool without slipering. The food in a hotel was tasty, good selection. We love soups and those were great. Hotel has a big parking, what is great bonus. To summarize: we have enjoyed our stay in Hotel Kolovare, Zadar. As a person with reduced mobility I mušt say, that the Hotel is not barrier free, but the pool with sea water enabled me to enjoy sea water without a risk when entering the sea.
Maja V — Google review
We spent six nights here in September, half board. The location is amazing, being close to the beach and a flat 20min walk to the old town. The rooms were spotless and the service was faultless. Meals were all served buffet-style, and while the quality and choice were absolutely fine, we felt that an overall improvement was possible. Hence, our score of four stars, overall.
David N — Google review
Hotel Kolorave was a big disappointment. The staff were rude and instead of solving problems, they kept shifting the responsibility onto the guests. The organization was complete chaos – even though I had paid for meals, the restaurant refused to acknowledge it and I was sent back to the reception to sort it out myself. There wasn’t even a basic bottle of water in the room, and during dinner no water was provided either. The standard is nowhere near what you would expect from a 4-star hotel, and it is definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend it.
Dorota H — Google review
Disappointing hotel. Rooms were small, carpet was stained, no shelf space in bathroom, AC not great. Needs renovation. Our balcony room had no sea view and even if did there is not an open and clear view due to ugly metal in front of you. Would be 1 star except pool decent and breakfast had many options. Do not recommend.

Lovely Hotel in an ideal location. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. It's quite easy to walk to the old town of Zadar and also to the famous sea organ.

Nice location close to the cender and to Kolovare beach. Friendly staff, decent & clean rooms. Breakfast most probably is the highlight. Gym could be easily added since we speak for a **** hotel. Elevator is always busy but ok it's only a 3 floor building.

The only exceptional thing about this hotel is the bedrooms. They are extremely small and basic. A bit like student or youth hostel accommodation. Very, very poor.

Great little boutique hotel in the heart of old Zadar! Room was surprisingly spacious for the hotel being in such an old building. Everything is nicely renovated and the shower is very roomy. Comfortable pillows! My only recommendation is better lighting in both the sleeping areas and bathroom - it’s a bit dim and gloomy on an overcast day!
Gigi R — Google review
Room: We were welcomed by a used band-aid in the bathroom, with one toiletry bottle was so sticky on the outside I had to wash my hands after grabbing it. The room's TV is the size of a computer monitor from the 90's for those that care about these things. The air conditioning panel buttons are so worn out, or missing entirely, it is impossible to use - this should have been fixed ages ago. Footsteps and general noise were unusually loud. The hotel thought it appropriate to do repairs to the air conditioning in the hallway outside the room while we were sleeping, banging away like it's surely not a hotel at all. Breakfast: We were served a sliced baguette that was so obviously from the day before (week before?) as the pieces could have been used as pucks in an ice hockey game. The waiter then thought it was appropriate to scold me on using my "main plate" for my croissant which was just weird. The breakfast is just an uncomfortable experience. Service: The stay at the Art Hotel was one where it's just so painfully obvious the staff don't care one bit about service and simply go through the process of "dealing with the tourists". They are likely quite full in the busy season because of their location, and simply don't excel in any way. The service was just simply rude.

I liked this hotel because Nena at the reception did a terrific job to satisfy us as customers. We asked various questions, were looking for different things in Town and Nena has always the solution. She is very Smiling, faut and efficient. That’s what I expect from a hotel. We were in the suite. Quiet! Thanks for your help Nena

We loved this little hotel! Though we didn’t spend much time there, we were warmly welcomed upon our arrival by Ivan. He was kind, generous with knowledge, and so friendly during our whole visit. The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and have nice bathrooms. We also had breakfast every day which was a great meal to start our days. We even went back on our way out of Zadar after staying on an outlying island, and they welcomed us back! Inea was our server at the restaurant every time and was always kind and attentive, especially to my gluten allergy. Thank you so much, Art Hotel!

Awesome hotel and location. FYI….no hotel parking. You need to find a place to park and then walk your way to the hotel.

What a find. BOUTIQUE hotel Huge room. Recently renovated with great light fixtures. Parking instructions were right on and an easy walk. The breakfast was beyond what was expected. Croissant, meat, breads jams, cheese on a three tier plate. Eggs made to order. All served to you by a great wait staff. Great reception and close to everything

The hotel has a great location. The staff is very helpful, 5 star service. My room was very dark. The walls are really thin, you can hear all sorts of noises, including someone's TV super early in the morning. I found it to be overpriced. Need better quality pillows.

Nestled in the heart of Zadar's old town, Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel is a stylish boutique lodging that offers a unique blend of luxury and art-inspired charm. The hotel features airy quarters adorned with colorful art, creating a sophisticated yet deeply connected ambiance to Zadar's heritage. The main building, formerly a French Military Hospital, has been meticulously renovated to create a charming boutique hotel appointed with original stone and brick walls.
A lovely short stay for us. Visited in November so the town was quiet, and the hotel courtyard too cold to sit outside in but it looked like it would be a lovely respite in the summer. Really welcoming hotel with lovely staff.
Emma S — Google review
We stayed at Almayer at the beginning of our Croatia trip, and it was perfect! Very good location (just a minute walk to the old town, the sea and passenger harbour ⛵️🛟). Very nice and clean room with a little balcony (annexe building), comfy bed. Also the breakfast was great (in the little garden), no buffet and very nice options to choose from. I loved the granola with fresh fruits. No question, we would book Almayer anytime again! PS: Hotel takes care of car parking (eur 15 per night)
C. K — Google review
The granola was burnt and unpleasantly hard, and the coffee had such a sharp mix of acidity and bitterness that it left us with stomach discomfort. After that, we didn’t dare to try the other dishes. The courtyard was nicely arranged, and we would have liked to enjoy it longer, but instead we had to cut our visit short and look for breakfast elsewhere to get rid of the aftertaste of the coffee.

Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel is a stylish place to stay in a quiet and cozy spot minutes from the center of Zadar Old Town. Breakfast was great and set in a cute courtyard. What made it special is the exceptional service received — the staff were very friendly, helpful, and always went the extra mile, whether it’s sorting parking, sharing great local tips, or just making sure we felt at home. Made our stay special. We would definitely book again. Thanks!

We did not stay in the hotel but had a lovely brunch here. The food quality and service were both top notch, and the restaurant patio was beautiful and peaceful.
Lydia D — Google review
We ate dinner in the courtyard restaurant. It was good, though a little difficult due to the falling seeds from the plants. One strange feature was that we called by late in the afternoon and we were told the restaurant was fully booked that night. Walking past later, we saw several empty tables and were seated. Maybe there were just cancellations or no shows, but I hope they don't tell lies to potential customers they think are not going to spend enough...

The first night we arrived to Zadar, we were so tired and had no reservation. We walked into Almayer Hotel and we were welcomed by Ms. Laura and Mr. Roko. They were so happy to help us and made sure we had a comfortable room. Even though we had to reservation, Mr. Rocco was very friendly and accommodating to us. He even helped with our luggage 🧳! The rooms are nice and updated making them very comfortable to stay in. I highly recommend this hotel. Can’t wait to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The cleanliness was impeccable, and we felt very comfortable throughout our visit. Great place, been there for the second time already, and plan to visit it every year with my husband. It’s a small, peaceful, and quiet boutique hotel where you can really recharge, relax, and forget about the world. Clean, spacious, and well stocked rooms. Parking places available free of charge, paid transportation provided by the hotel with a fair price. I haven’t seen such a level of professionalism among the staff even in the top chain hotels. These owner really set a new standard of hospitality.
Paulina M — Google review
I have so many good things to say about this place! It’s run by the owner, and you can really tell—he’s there to help with anything you need. The outdoor area is beautiful, breakfast is complete, and everything feels welcoming. The bedrooms are fantastic. We finally found a king bed in Europe! 😅 I also truly appreciated the urinoir in the bathroom—it meant I could actually have the toilet to myself! My husband loved the big shower, too. There are plugs everywhere, which is super convenient. I only wish we had stayed here for more than one night. It’s absolutely worth it!

One of the finest places we’ve ever stayed at. Denis, the owner is always on hand to assist with a smile and kindly manner. The hotels driver is on hand to provide both local and airport transport at very fair rates. Breakfast is optional but worth the €12, there are cafes and restaurants within walking distance though the old town is a 35 minute walk away. Our room had a huge wrap around balcony and far reaching views and was absolutely spotless. If considering Zadar this is the place to stay, we booked direct. Thanks Denis, until the next time!
Dave H — Google review
Exceptional! Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean. We had a room on the 1st floor and had lovely views to the sea from the balcony. The balconies are in shade on the morning and get the afternoon/evening sun. The pool area is lovely too, with plenty of sun loungers and towels. Denis and his team are friendly and helpful. If you want to go anywhere, they have a driver available, only 7 euros to the old town. There is a well stocked shop at the end of the road and also restaurants there. We didn't have breakfast but it looked good.

This would be 5 stars but the check in process and parking are difficult - you have to park and walk for about 5 minutes to the center and then a person will meet you in a cafe to give you the key. The apartment itself is nice with a loft style in a former Italian consulate that was chopped up during Soviet times into smaller units. Friendly people and in the center of the town. Reasonably quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mediteran. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. We had one of the unrenovated rooms but it was adequate for our stay. I did see one of the renovated room while it was being cleaned, and I must say that it looks really nice. The property has a nice pool, which unfortunately we didn't get to use because we just didn't have time. There is also a nice restaurant downstairs, and the breakfast that was included was amazing, in my opinion. Parking is easy it's behind the hotel. One thing is there's no elevator, but they are willing to help carry your luggage. Overall, I give it a 4.5 stars.

Very pleasant stay. The hostess/receptionist was very welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. Plus she gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. The pool and balcony view were a delight, especially for the price
Michael Z — Google review
Lovely hotel, fantastic staff and a great pool at the back. 10-15 min walk to waterfront, there is a small supermarket near the hotel. The hotel has a lovely restaurant with outdoor seating and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Other good restaurants nearby. Our room was comfortable, had a very small balcony overlooking the pool. Shower may be difficult for a large person to access, the door is narrow. Only downside is it is a 45 min walk to the Old Town - we took a taxi there and an Uber back to the hotel.
Bron R — Google review
The hotel staff is extremely friendly, but we found the rooms a bit outdated. Also, we were on the street side, and traffic is very noisy, even with the windows closed. Parking and pool (which we did not use) are very convenient

I'm not sure why this hotel gets good reviews. Location is poor, too far from Center. Rooms are small, dark and depressing, and quite noisy.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We only had the chance to stay there for one night and we'd love to come back! I can imagine, that the rooms on the roadside are quite noisy, but that seems to be the only concern to be honest. Staff is SO friendly and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The room was very clean and there was nothing missing. The breakfast is really good too! Normally I'm not a breakfast person, but I loved it. Thank you for everything!

A'mare Hotel Zadar is a brand new hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the old town, making it a perfect base for exploring Zadar. Despite being situated in a quiet but slightly run-down neighborhood, guests found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel features cozy bar and restaurant areas, while the rooms are equipped with blackout shutters and comfortable beds. Guests also praised the delicious breakfast and recommended having a small fridge in the room.
We stayed at A'mare Hotel Zadar in May 2025 and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is very pleasant, with a lovely fresh scent throughout the interior. The rooms are modern, exceptionally clean, and cleaned daily with fresh towels provided every day. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. We were able to check in early, and although we arrived at 8 AM and the room was only ready from 1 PM, the team offered to store our luggage. Thanks to that, we could enjoy walking around and exploring the city without any worries. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Since we checked out early in the morning before breakfast hours, the staff thoughtfully prepared lunch boxes for us to take with us — a very kind and appreciated gesture. Overall, we highly recommend A'mare Hotel Zadar for its excellent service, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at A’mare Hotel! We were only here for 2 short nights, but it was well worth the stay. The hotel in general is easy to find and very welcoming upon arrival. (We noticed a few reviews about a bad neighborhood, but we did not feel unsafe or uncomfortable) The rooms are very very clean and comfortable. We walked into our room and they were the crispiest, white sheets I’ve ever seen; you can tell the staff have a very high standard when it comes to cleaning 👍🏼 Lastly, we had an issue with our car being towed (to our own fault). The staff at the front desk went above and beyond to help us (luckily they were familiar with the company and were able to assist easily). We got our car back in under an hour all thanks to the helpful staff. We also asked the bartender for drinks to take back to our room and he kindly offered us drinks with no issues. He even provided a small ice bucket on the side! Overall, can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking to stay at a hotel in Zadar! [Deluxe Double Room]

We were bringing a group (40 people) to Zadar. We worked through Natali for all arrangements. When we were to arrive, the tour bus had to park in some parking lot 400m+ away. Everyone needed to walk the hotel and we needed to pay for taxis to bring the luggage. Natali NEVER mentioned that a bus could not pull up close to the hotel for unloading. We found out when we arrived. She knew were were bringing a group and never mentioned anything. We had some individuals over 80 years old that were required to walk and pull some of their smaller bags to the hotel. The desk staff was very helpful and tried to accommodate as best possible, which is why I gave service 3 stars. I give Natali 1 star. My wife and I lead pilgrimage trips regularly and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were planning to eat dinner at the hotel, but everyone said they did not want to spend any more money at this place. A little proactive communication by Natali would have been appreciated.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing! The breakfast was delicious same as the restaurant. The restaurant has fair prices and isn't expensive. Though the air conditioner was leaking the whole night and made a big puddle, they fixed it very fast and cleaned the room very good. They even gave us a extra small bed because we had a child with us. The rooms are small, but functional. It was hard to find parking, but we eventually found a spot. We come to Zadar every few weekends, we will definitely come back to this hotel. I highly recommend it!

It's a lovely little hotel. Modern, clean and well appointed. The air freshener they use is gorgeous. Rooms are well appointed and very well sound-proofed. Breakfast can be a little crowded, but has lots of nice options. There are a couple of gyms about 200m away, we used one as a day pass for €15 which was great if you wanted to exercise. We dropped the car off before coming here and were glad we did as it's very tricky to find parking. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the old town through quiet residential streets. Overall, a very cute little hotel and would gladly come back to stay if ever in Zadar.

Very modern clean hostel. Almost hotel like. With spacious rooms and nice beds. Wasn't much social atmosphere though there is a common room( but I was there only one night and end of September.) Thanks to Tea very nice and helpful girl at reception. Zadar seems quite a small chill place this hostel fits the vibe if not looking for a more lively scene. 5 stars for the hostel quality and location But 4 stars overall as could be a bit quiet, depends what vibe you are looking for.

GREAT LOCALIZATION - about 5 minutes to most attractions in the Old Town. The hostel was very nice, the staff was friendly. The room (private, superior room) was ok. The bathroom could be bigger - only one person at the time, there wasn't space to wash our teeth together. Cleanliness was also ok. Over all it was clean. There were some things that could be improved like there were wird orange stains on the bed sheets or old dust on the lamp. Daily cleaning. The towels were nice and chunky. No kettle in the room (there was a chance to use one in common area but after entering we had a feeling that the kitchen part of common area is... damp(?) and sticky. We had breakfast included. I would highly recommend it. Especially the "English Breakfast" variation. Only two vegetarian options (both sweet) but there was a chance to exclude meat from one other option (after request). There was a problem with consistency during breakfast. Most days the staff was very friendly and helpful but one day staff seemed to be lost with what was happening around. We had a feeling that he was surprised there is someone for breakfast. Some days you sit at the table and wait for menu, other you take it from the side table. Some day the eggs are warm, some the only warm part is the other person scramble eggs. These may be details but we noticed them so I am shearing. Over all the breakfast was tasty and I would definitely pay for them again if staying in the hostel. Over all. There were some issues but it was a two star hostel. It was definitely worth the price and I would recommend it to everybody (especially due to localization). It was very enjoyable stay :)

If I could give more stars, I would. The gratitude that we feel for the care that was given is overflowing. The receptionists go above and beyond what is typical in the industry. From lost luggage assistance to recommendations for dinner, and all of the requests and questions in between, Maria and Tea were exceptional. The service staff, Sergei, bith Ivanas, Žarko, and Boris were professional and attentive. The room was always very clean thanks to the cleaning staff. Our trip would have been less than perfect without this crew. And! The food...Wow! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay.

Absolute hidden gem. The rooms are big and spacious, really modern and clean and the facilities are great. Nice pool for swimming and an excellent location. I would recommend renting a car - the parking is free! Would absolutely stay here again. The staff are lovely and helpful.

AC worked amazingly. One bed was soft and the other was harder. Shower got hot. Other tenants were a little noisy with luggage.

It's a really nice hotel. Very cozy and modern rooms with friendly staff and owner. The breakfasts are great and there's a lot to choose from. Fresh fruit, salads, pancakes, bacon, eggs, croissants, tea, coffee and fruit juice

Really good value for money. Please advise that a car is needed here because there is quite a walk to the city center. Great and friendly staff. Nice little pool area to relax. Big rooms and nice to have a balcony. I would stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was exceptional and helpful! The best part was the breakfast room with a view. If you like fresh international breakfast with local fruits and crepes then you are in the good place. The pool is heated, so it is pleasant at any time of the day. I will book with them next time we go.

A very smart and clean hotel, pleasant staff and unmatched breakfast views. My wife and I stayed here for our final night in Zadar, but had I known this hotel would be so good, I'd book it for the entire week in the blink of an eye. First of all- the location is walking distance away from city centre and Gradski Most. There's car parking available outside. You're greeted by friendly staff who speak incredible English (and just as equal German, from my limited understanding). The hotel presents itself in a modern style. The rooms are spacious and well-designed with ample amenities such as a mini-bar (surprisingly cheap items) a fridge and GOOD air conditioning (a rarity). The balcony overlooks the swimming pool which is accessible for all guests. Makes for a pleasant cool down after a long day. The breakfast hall is truly the jewel of the crown, overlooking the city with 360° views. The food was great with fresh eggs cooked to your liking, a selection of sausages and smoked meats, a corner with cereals plenty of fresh fruit and dessert. To summarise, 10/10 would recommend.
Adomas G — Google review
A bit pricey but everything was excellent. Clean rooms, big bed, one of the best A/C systems available, modern showering facilities and a very nice pool to cool off during the heatwave. There is a free parking for customers and its pretty close to the center of Zadar if u want to go visit some shops/dine/party. Great hotel!

Delightful and relaxed seafront hotel with a breakfast restaurant, a bar and pool. Rooms have generous views of the old town from their balconies. The complex is halfway between the old town and Borik, about a 20-minute walk...The hotel was pleasant enough and quiet. The breakfast was decent. The decor could use updating but it was clean. The shower door was falling off in our room, but that's only an minor issue.
Just had a great week at Villa Hresc. Lovely apartment, everything we needed, including lovely pool and stunning views over to Zadar old town. Great service from Ana and her team.

Great location and super host! We had a beautiful view and the accommodation was really nice. Patris is really friendly and always ready to help you if you need anything. We could only recommend you this place! Quiet environment, breakfast is perfect and not too far from the old town. We suggest you to rent some bikes. Great experience !

Great place to stay, good location. Good breakfast, great staff. The only wish or suggestion is that breakfast should be from 6 and not seven in the morning, because basically all excursions start at 7:30 and you don’t have time to have breakfast. And in general, everything is wonderful. I recommend!☺️

Fantastic experience. friendly hosts. Clean rooms with AMAZING views of Zadar from the balcony (we had the Neven room on first floor to the right). Sweet dog and turtles by the pool was nice for the kids (two girls almost 6 and 8 year old)

This is a very pleasant little hotel. Our suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is something to behold. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I only wish we had more than one night's stay here. Also, the old town of Zadar is quite a gem--"worth a detour" for sure.

Good apartment wit AC in all rooms and soft, nice, beds. The staff is friendly and talkative, and you can even pet the staffs dog :) A pool area that has both sun and shade. Tasty breakfast, but nothing warm (like bacon or scrambled eggs).

Excellent service and very nice looking pool and garden. Furniture in the rooms is a bit outdated but comfortable and functional. Classic breakfast with standard offering and they even had a plant milk :) Overall great experience I can definitely recommend!

Not sure if I understand the seemingly rave reviews for this place. Its pleasant enough. Its quiet. It's OK. Breakfast was OK. Decor is a bit old. The shower door was falling off. Its a good 25 minute walk to the old town. Kind of meh, OK overall.

Situated in a quiet location, not far from town centre. 7 euros for a Bolt in to town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Amazing coffee . In the evening or during the day you can enjoy the rooftop pool. If you are lucky enough and find availability for the room with jacuzzi you can enjoy that in your own room. Would definitely recommend and if I will be back in the area I would book the same place

Literally the best stay we ever had. We rented the full villa with 14 of us. The rooftop is amazing, the rooms are perfect, location is close to the city, it was very clean and the kitchen is good, but the owners are the best! Marino is very helpful, with anything you can think off. We had a dental issue and Marino managed to get one of us to a dentist meanwhile it was Saturday evening and all were closed. Thanks for all and maybe see you again in the future! :D

We had kinda bad weather during our visit of Zadar but lucky we were to choose this place for our 2 night stay. It really changed our unlucky time to the great experience… swimming pool on the roof, lovely people and great breakfast. There is not much more you can ask for… lovely place which we will visit again for sure!

Totally WOW! We were going to be staying in a tent then a sudden storm came and ripped the tent so we ended up here. Total luxury, like staying in a 5 star hotel. Our host was totally incredible - she actually arranged for our tent to be repaired in hours. Now that really is 5 star service!

Nestled in the heart of Zadar, Windward Hostel Zadar is a charming and newly established accommodation that embraces a delightful sailing theme. This casual hostel features both relaxed dormitory-style rooms and a cozy private room, ensuring comfort for all types of travelers. Guests can unwind in the communal TV lounge or take advantage of personal lockers, air conditioning, and convenient electrical plug-ins. The hostel's prime location near the waterfront offers breathtaking views and easy access to both the beach and city center.
Great hostel with great prices. Petra was a wonderful host. She recommended the best spots in town for me to see. The people I've met there are great, and the hostel is very clean. Without a doubt, I'll be coming back there when I visit Zadar again.
Z D — Google review
If you are tall ask for a top bed! I stayed here for just 2 nights for my flight. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The hostel is about a 20-30 minute walk to the center/the sea. The door in my dorm often got stuck on the ground, making a loud noise when moving. This was very annoying as it woke up many people. The matrasses also felt very used.
Dylan S — Google review
Incredibly friendly staff who welcomed us on arrival and were full of tips and advice about where to go in the town. For the price we paid the room was quite good with private bathroom, good shower, air con and a desk. I liked how decorated the communal areas were with photos and icons from the sailing world, clearly those involved with sailing have an association with this hostel. Would definitely recommend for anyone coming to Zadar on a budget, as everything worked perfectly. It might be a little bit far from the main action of the city if you were staying for longer, but since we were just in town for the night it was fine walking into and out of town once. Even then it was simple and about 15 minute walk.
Matthew M — Google review
This hostel a really nice place to stay in. It is a 15 minutes walk to the centre so make sure you don't mind walking if you decide to stay here. The hostel itself has everything you need. A kitchen, good showers, free cereals and free coffee. Everything is really clean and the person working is really friendly and in for a talk. During the time I stayed there I even made some friends. The common room has a TV and a Wii, but I couldn't find any games for it though. The rooms have AC that do not blow on top of anyone. You have your own locker and a small pouch where you can put some stuff in before you go to sleep. Overall everything is great and I had a really great time!
Yvette W — Google review
Nice hostel with good prices. Its approx 15 min walk to the city centre but totally doable. You have big supermarkets, bakery and coffee shop near it. Josipa was really helpfull and had good tips for what to do in the city. Free tea, coffee, milk and cereal. Only left cuz it was fully booked.

Location near to city centre, great staff nice view from roof top terrace. Hotel and rooms would need some maintenance works. Free parking next to hotel. Tasty pizza and breakfast.
Jan V — Google review
Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay here! It is very well located to the old town and several supermarkets if you need anything. The rooms were spotless and overall a very cute design. Unfortunately, the aircon was pretty outdated and the room was quite hot for our stay. The reception was ok- our only frustration was that they didn't seem familiar with the area and were unable to give use helpful information for parking so we wouldn't get ticketed. The listing says there is parking, but it's only free in certain times and it's not designated for hotel guests (not guarunteed), so we felt that was a bit misleading. Also, they only use sheer curtains in the room, so it gets light as soon as the sun rises- bring a sleep mask if you're a dark sleeper! Other than that, the experience was good!
Ayriana R — Google review
We booked this room to enjoy breakfast the morning before starting another day on our motorcycles. The first thing we have been told after arrival: no breakfast tomorrow. And only after insisting the price for the room has been reduced a very little bit. The hostess was more busy with servicing restaurant guests than to complete our check-in. Next the room: interior is nice. The shower is broken! One tiny water beam from the middle of the "rain shower", great. After a pleasant evening in Zadar we wanted to get enough sleep for the tour the following day. Just to find out, that there was life music in the restaurant beyond our room. Loud music until ca. 3 o'clock in the night, sleeping impossible! If the description of the B&B had been clear about the fact: no breakfast on Sunday, loud music on Saturday night we could have chosen another location. But there is nothing in the info about the room. Therefore we had an absolute unnecessarily horrible stay. No recommendation from our side!!
Alex W — Google review
Great location, great breakfast, great staff! The room was a bit small, as was the bathroom. But the staff was really nice and the breakfast is worth it. There’s free and paid parking available on site.

Great place to stay. The people were very nice and the rooms were great. The air conditioning is a BIG bonus. It works great. The Giardin restaurant downstairs has good food also.
Gary — Google review
Location was good! Mixed up our room in the beginning, next day we had to go to another room! The cleaner took the sheets off our bed and put them back on the bed in the other room they put us in, I have never heard of such a thing! We found out about this because we went back up to our room, and saw her doing this! I said are you putting the dirty sheets back on our bed she said yes saves the sheets from being washed! The owner told her to do this I couldn’t believe my ears! I told her I want to speak to the owner I want clean sheets considering they messed up our room! We got clean sheets eventually! My husband and I wouldn’t stay here again there were missing light bulbs, holes in towels, no fridge, Hand soap dispenser off the wall! As for our last day, we went down to have breakfast and the staff wasn’t there to cook it! The young girl who cleans the rooms was there cleaning she apologize and seemed frightened of the owner saying there is nothing she can do , she’s not allowed to make coffee or touch anything, even though she was the one making the eggs, when we did have breakfast as she told us! We left had breakfast elsewhere! I’m not sure what the set up is! All I know is they are all in it together!
LESLEY J — Google review
When we arrived at the restaurant to check in, it took some time for the waiter to get everything in order. As soon as we walked up the stairs to our room, we noticed there were ants crawling along the baseboards and chairs. We went back down and told the waiter who look puzzled. We got him to come upstairs and he said he would have to call the owner. A few hours later he returned with a powder pesticide that he poured around the room. After we took showers the first night (they didn't provide any shampoo/body wash, luckily there is a market next door), we noticed a foul smelling odor coming from the bathroom. We tried flushing the toilet several times and opening the window, but the odor became worse and worse. Even with the bathroom door shut, we were not able to sleep in bedroom due to the overpowering odor. We determined that the smell was coming from the shower drain and believe that it was some type of mold or mildew. When we told the property owner the next morning, she had an attitude of "I couldn't care less". We packed our bags and left Zadar early because of this hotel. Breakfast was included, convenient to access the old city, parking available (assuming you are able to find a spot in the lot).

Luxury Rooms Kadena is a boutique bed and breakfast in the heart of old Zadar, offering three beautifully decorated rooms with modern amenities. The rooms are adorned with elegant baroque wallpaper, satin curtains, and marble-lined bathrooms. While there is no lift on the property, the central location provides easy access to Roman ruins and the seafront. Guests can enjoy a warm welcome from the hospitable hosts who provide great tips for exploring the area.
There is a reason that we continue to return to Kadena when it comes to booking our holiday travel. The rooms are clean, modern and well appointed. Our host greeted us with a warm welcome and provided great suggestions to local restaurants and excursions. We will look forward to our next visit.

Me and a friend spent a night in this place and we absolutaly ADORED IT! Very close to the center, rooms are very comfortable, clean and the price is very fair. But the best thing from this establishment is by far; Inga. Oh my god Inga (the recepcionist we will call it) was a treasure and if we were already enjoying Croatia before we came here, we fell in love with the country as soon as we met Inga. Very friendly host with a clear like for the establishment and an inherit like for interacting with her guests be them national or foreign. You might find similar reviews expressing their like for Inga but we loved Inga more. We must protect Inga. I cannot recommend this place any better. By all means chose this place if you are planning on going to Zadar. P.S. We loved Inga!

The room was beautiful, modern, and clean! The host and room couldn't have been better; they really exceeded our expectations (i.e., amenities, comfy bed, a/c, free minibar, sweets, etc.). Inga, our host, showed great hospitality and was very responsive prior to and on the day of our arrival. She gave us a warm welcome and also provided great tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The location is not far from the main bus station/old town bus stop and the location is pretty central to old town Zadar. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and a market within reach. Highly recommend - we would stay here again!

Hotel Donat is a relaxed all-inclusive hotel located near the beaches of Zadar, approximately 3.5 kilometers from the Old Town. The hotel offers understated rooms and provides an all-inclusive service with Croatian breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It caters to both business and leisure guests, offering amenities such as Wi-Fi in public areas, car park, meeting facilities, tours, and laundry service.
I was really happy with this hotel. The food was super tasty and there was plenty to choose from, I tried pretty much everything and enjoyed it all. Drinks were good too, and even after having a few with alcohol, I didn’t get a headache, which is always a plus. The location is amazing , right by the beach. You can see the sea from the pool, which is awesome. The pool itself is big enough and nice and warm. The staff were super friendly and chill, not pushy at all. I got my room way earlier than expected and they even let me check out at 2 PM for free that was great! Honestly, I don’t get why some people complain. Yeah, it’s only a 3-star hotel, not some fancy luxury place, but you’ve got everything you need for a good time.

Fabulous budget hotel, right on the beach, lots of indoor and outdoor space. Rooms a decent size if a ligttle tired, balcony and seaview rooms are lovely. All-inclusive offering very extensive and exceptional value for money although as the hotel caters predominantly for German clientele expect that represented in the food.

Hotel Donat was perfect for what I needed as a one night stay while traveling. It is an old hotel but it's clean and I love the "old way character" of it. The room I stayed in was clean, which is most important, it's small and simple but comfortable. Breakfast is included and they put great effort in. Another plus for when you are traveling is their 24 hour check in, very helpful with a late flight. The management communication during my booking, questions I asked before arriving etc, was excellent.
Christel — Google review
Lovely location by the ocean! Otherwise the hotel is very old and outdated, and consequently did not feel very clean. We did find a couple bugs under our mattress but they did not appear to be bed bugs (not sure what they were). No air-conditioning or screens on the windows, so bugs were flying in and the room was hot. If you dont expect much, then this place will be okay for you! But, Im glad we were only here for one night.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL. 1) ROOM HAD NO AC, heater was on at a day temperature when we had a very sunny and warm day. When ask for some options they had nothing. So I had to open the window which lead lot of mosquito which lead hardly any sleep. 2) ROOM DECOR IS VERY OLD, LIKE EARLY 60TS. Don't fool by photos, room decor is very very old. Ded is horrible and will give you a very bad back pain. 3) FOOD is another horrible thing, all the people pounce on the food and stuff hardly refilled it. Non popular food items were refilled regularly though. OVERALL, PLEASE DO 🚫 OR AVOID THIS HOTEL.
Shreyas D — Google review
Would give zero the photos will trick you. DONT recommend I got very sick with food poisoning here and I know how I checked in late and was given a bag of food at midnight that had chicken in it that was sat at reception for hours don’t eat it the next day I was sick. I contacted the hotel and booking.com and got no reply. Would not of cared about the place being so run down and dirty if would have not got severely sick so. The wooden swim area they have by the sea has nails sticking out and boards missing food is horrendous and stains all over the room floor. I wish I took more pics but I just wanted to leave pronto.
David K — Google review
The rooms vere nice, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious. But our problem was that we got a room right above the stage which was very loud at night till 10.30/11.00. As we have small kids, we didn't appreciate it. As a hotel that is family friendly with a kids program, we didn't understand why it was so. Also, the air condition didn't work last two days. It was very hot.
Lenka M — Google review
HORRIBLE place, the rooms were very old and had multiple stains on both Walls, cabinets and roof. It had a weird smell, we figured it was to cover up fungus. The food was not special at all, it was cold, even when it had just come out of the kitchen, and they were VERY bad at refilling it. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, and I highly suggest that you don’t visit.

Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Good atmosphere and I like the decorations. Gives good vibes. We even got a free room upgrade and free use of the spa and gym. The location is great.

However it was construction around the hotel, we enjoyed our stay. Really nice hotel and kind staff. Very nice view. Big terrace and good breakfast and coffee. And best thing for me was the wellness 😍

Good Hotel. We stayed for only one night, the room was clean and the Hotel is well equipped. Service was professionell and polite. Not the most modern Hotel but a solid place for a nice stay directly at the sea!

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in for a while! The staff were wonderfully attentive and very friendly so we felt comfortable asking them for all sorts of recommendations. The hotel is right on the seafront with parking and there is a bus stop just outside which provides easy access into the city centre. The double rooms are spacious and clean with lovely little balconies! The location was pretty quiet and tucked away from the business of the city centre, which was perfect for a relaxing stay. If you’re staying here make sure to choose the breakfast option, it was the best way to start the day. I’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to any friends travelling to Zadar in the future!

Even though there was construction 🚧 around the place!!! The staff did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was great 🍳🥞 🥓🥪🥐🥣. Sauna and Jacuzzi were also ok. We got a superior room with terrace and the sunset view is soooo wonderful.

This hotel is a perfect spot for people who value peace, nature, swimming, fishing and even water sports available nearby. Very comfortable beds, tasty food and the best staff ever❤️ Car rental and e-bike rental available at the hotel.

Beautiful little spot right on the water. We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast included and it was tasty! Restaurant downstairs that we also enjoyed the Greek salad and spring rolls for a snack! We loved the jacuzzi and our balcony! I definitely recommend booking a superior room. Ivan and Franco were awesome, helpful, funny, and friendly!

The hotel is not located in downtown, which was only a short drive away. When we arrived the door did not lock properly and we were moved into another room. The rooms were not like the ones pictured in the photos (and not in a good way). Nothing seemed to work correctly and was broken. The shower wasn't hot and the sink sprayed water everywhere. I'm honestly surprised the hotel is rated so high. The fitness center, spa, and sauna were in great shape and breakfast is also included. I would not stay here again if we came back.

Plaža Rt Puntamika is a stunning coastal haven located in Zadar, often regarded as a hidden gem. This beach boasts crystal-clear waters that gracefully meet both pebbly and sandy shores, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The area is adorned with lush pine trees providing ample shade, perfect for those seeking refuge from the sun. While it attracts many locals due to its beauty and serene atmosphere, it's not overly crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy a peaceful day by the sea.
Very accessible beach close to city center, with pines and rocks. Suitable for snorkeling, parking is possible very close to the beach.

Great Place for sunset photography. There is not enough beach for many people to sit directly at the shore. But from the whole area you have a great view due West.
Lucas K — Google review
One of the best beaches in Zadar. A lot of shadow from pine trees in not maintained area. Beautiful views. Very popular among locals. One drawback is an absence of toilet and because of that many bushes converted to toilets.

Great! There is a public beach for familiys, and there is a rocky beach all around for a little bit of peace or privacy...oddly the praking is free 😁...and there is a great caffe bar near....best beach in Zadar in my opinion 👍

It is in Zadar but not overcrowded. There is shade. Water is fairly clean. I can meet my friends. Caffe. Restaurant. - In high summer it is parking disaster. It has beautiful view of Pasman and Ugljan.

The residence features great amenities including Wi-Fi, free parking, two swimming pools, and a rooftop jacuzzi with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea.
Room for two was large and had a nice balcony. The check in was a little confusing as the was no lobby but everything worked out by calling the owner. The pools were clean and not busy. Located near a beach and a grocery store, peaceful area.

We stayed at this apartment during our vacation in Croatia and had a fantastic experience. The place was clean, spacious, and exactly as shown in the photos. The air conditioning worked perfectly — a must during the hot summer days! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted us warmly, gave us great tips about local attractions and restaurants, and were always available if we had any questions. The apartment is in a quiet area, just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. It was the perfect location for a relaxing holiday without needing to drive everywhere. We especially loved the balcony, where we could sit in the evening and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. There was also private parking, which made things very convenient. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for us since we had to work a bit during the stay. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the region. It’s a great value for the price, and we’d definitely love to come back in the future!

Thanks for sharing your review — it's clear and detailed, but I can help you polish it to sound more professional and impactful while keeping the core message. Here's a revised version: --- **A Truly Terrible Experience – Completely Misleading and Unprofessional** This was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. We booked a two-night stay through Booking.com for what was advertised as a two-room apartment with two beds, at €400 per night. Upon arrival, a woman met us with the keys and claimed she had to cancel the Booking.com reservation and insisted we pay her in cash. It was late at night, we were exhausted, and had no choice but to comply. Once inside, we were shocked to find a single room with one double bed and a sofa – completely different from what was advertised. The apartment was poorly maintained: no bottled water, no soap or shampoo, and not even the most basic amenities. The towels were dark brown and black, making it impossible to tell if they were clean. Worst of all, the bedding hadn’t been changed – there was blonde hair still on the pillows. We messaged the host early the next morning requesting a refund for the second night so we could find a better option, but received no response whatsoever. This experience felt like a scam designed to exploit tourists. I’m truly disappointed that platforms like Booking.com allow such listings, which clearly violate trust and quality standards. I hope this serves as a warning to others.

I absolutely loved my stay at Lazy Monkey Hostel! I had some trouble with my phone during the trip, and they incredibly kind and supportive. Everything was super clean, and the decor was beautiful—such a cozy and stylish place. The location is perfect too, it's in a very quiet area, which is great for relaxing, and it's just a short walk from the bus station. I would recommend it 100%

This is honestly the best hostel I have stayed at. It's clean, has a big kitchen, spacious rooms with lockers, a big oustide sitting area, a bar (with delicious cocktails!) And so much more. Everyone is very friendly and social so if you're looking for a hostel where you can meet new people and make new friends and hangout this is the place for you!! The vibes here are immaculate 👌 The owners are here every day which is nice because it just shows that they care about this place. They're amazing people. The staff is nice and helpful. It's also close to multiple beaches and the old town is just a 30 minute walk along the beautiful coast. The lidl is also not too far from here :) Will definitely stay here again if I ever visit Zadar again.

A really social hostel. The kitchen has everything you need. The hostel was a little bit outside of the center. So didn’t felt quite well after sunset as a solo traveling women. The ac had a little smell sadly too. Would loved it would it be closer to the old town

Only stayed one night but enjoyed the apartment room I had rented as it was well equipped and spacious. The parking was right in front which made it feel safe for our rental car. Getting into the old town was a pretty easy 20min walk.

Made a booking and paid, they called me and left a message a week or so later saying they wanted to go on holiday for the month and I needed to "be kind" and cancel my reservation. I didn't get the voice message until later, after they had already gone ahead and cancelled my booking. Really terrible service and they didn't even get hold of me before cancelling on a booking I had already paid for. Had to find another place to stay last minute and was not very impressed by how they handle their business. If I had missed the voice message I would have been literally stranded in Zadar for the night without a place to sleep

Hotel Miramare Zadar is an upscale hotel located in Zadar, within a 10-minute walk of Kolovare Beach and City Galleria. The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool, terrace, and bike rental services. It's conveniently situated near attractions such as the Christian basilica 'Zadar Cathedral' and Palace of the Governor General. Guests can enjoy delicious meals at the on-site restaurant and drinks at the bar/lounge.
Our stay at the Miramare Hotel was an absolute blast! The staff is extraordinary friendly but sadly the woman who cleaned the rooms didn’t provide us new toilet paper and hasn’t changed the shampoo in the shower but this is only a little throwback. The interior design is very sleek and from a good taste, the toilets and pool were super clean. There are free towels for the pool but a little less sun loungers. Our highlights: the à la carte breakfast with fresh free-range eggs from the region and the cocktails at the bar. All in all we love to come back! It’s a rock solid and comfortable hotel.

Nice hotel at good location. The room was clean and quite comfortable. The front deck people were friendly and helpful. The bar staff was friendly as well, but the drinks were sort of basic. The breakfast was unremarkable. Overall, the cons were the good service and location, otherwise nothing special. I thought it was a good value too.

Where do we begin! From the moment we arrived, Shana made our stay truly exceptional. She welcomed us with genuine warmth, helped us check in smoothly, and even created a personalized itinerary filled with excellent recommendations for restaurants, local spots, and must-see sights. The hotel itself was superb—our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. We also loved the location; tucked away in a calm and peaceful area, it offered the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast offer was amazing—great variety, fresh ingredients, and something for every taste. And as our check-out was in the middle of the night, we were incredibly touched to receive a thoughtfully prepared lunch package to take with us. Such small details truly go a long way! A very special shoutout to Shana – your kindness, attentiveness, and warm energy made our experience unforgettable. You are truly the heart of this place. We’ll definitely be back. See you again soon!

Room was fine, however they didn’t honor the King Bed as per the reservation. The lady was polite and added an extra sheet in the middle of the two single beds to make it less terrible. Breakfast was okay, nothing out it this world. No options for gluten-free bread, sweets and such (I guess the only thing was like little Nutella packages) PS: the guy from the night shift was a little bit too much on the edge for my taste. I wasn’t even that loud asking a question to him and he went full mode “shhh”

Stayed in mid-May. Great experience overall and would recommend! Location is great, it's situated right between the bus station and the old town. Host was very nice and recommended surrounding attractions. The host also cleans the hostel every morning so it is very clean. My roommates have been very understanding throughout. Very reasonable prices and well worth the money overall. Only minor cons would be that the bathrooms can get a bit stuffy because there are no windows in them, the room doors make a pretty loud noise, and it can be a bit noisy outside in the morning if windows are opened as many cars drive into the hospital opposite - so I'd recommend earplugs for those who are sensitive to noise.

The owners are extremely friendly and nice, you truly feel at home and welcomed (bonus points for the lovely cat!). They have a breakfast option that is decent and gets you going for the day (continental breakfast but homemade and nice). The rooms are a biiit small (hence the 4 stars) but very clean and with all the amenities, we had a balcony too. The location is a bit further from the old town, but close to one of the beaches. Luckily we were there on holiday, so it didn’t bother us - even a Bolt ride is around 5 euros from the city centre. Quiet area!

A great 4-star option! I give it 4 stars for the following reasons: Location: ~25 minutes by walk to the historic city center. If you're tired, that 25 mins can feel long, specially with luggage. If not tired, it's a nice breeze walk and it's worth staying at a more budget location. Room: We had a 2 persons bed, with own toilet and shower and a fridge and tv. Nice cute balcony. It's very clean, but a bit outdated look. Also, not enough electricity sockets. Service: We had clean towels, bed sheets, and hand soap. But no other toiletries were provided. Also, we were only provided with two half-used toilet papers. Very important: Pansion Mara has a very kind and helpful owner! He made us feel welcomed and gave us great tips!

I'm not a fan of traditional hostels as I'm old and like my own space, so the private rooms here are ideal. Room was just behind reception and was so much nicer and better than I'd expected, really relaxing and clean with the shared toilet / shower literally outside. It's a ten minute walk from the old town and harbour in a quiet area, and I'd stay here again any time.

Stayed 2 nights fair enough a basic Hostal you can’t expect too much staying in 6 bedroom, beds very poor, shower , bathroom excellent, good shower! Rooms are near main road so always traffic noise. You are within 10 minutes walk in the historic Centre . Don’t buy boat trips for 45 € / 1/2 day instead take the ferry to Preko for 8 € with the ferry boat across the bridge as all locals do. Enjoy it, beautiful beaches are around. Photo includes was taken in Preko

Nestled just 3 kilometers north of Zadar's historic center, Borik is a picturesque district that beautifully blends sightseeing with beachside relaxation. This charming area, set on a wooded peninsula, boasts stunning beaches and a delightful marina. Families will find it particularly appealing due to its child-friendly shores like Borik Beach, where calm waters create the perfect environment for young ones to splash around safely.
This is a wonderful area to be if you are looking for a quiet beach holiday. Borik is blessed with sea on three sides and although the beaches are pebbles and stones, the water is crystal clear a wonderful to swim in. The standard of cleanliness everywhere is excellent and the people friendly. It is only short ride on a bus to the old town, which is more of a tourist spot. Busses run regularly. It was a great experience which i would recommend.

Holiday apartment
Nestled in the charming city of Zadar, Guest House Dragić offers a delightful retreat just a short stroll from iconic attractions like the Church of Lady of Health and the Greeting to the Sun. This family-friendly guesthouse features inviting amenities such as a refreshing swimming pool, a sun-soaked terrace, and convenient free parking. Guests can enjoy well-equipped accommodations that include one bedroom, a cozy living area with kitchen facilities like a fridge and microwave, plus barbecue options for those sunny evenings.
The whole experience at Dragic was amazing. The house itself was at an ideal location, a good distance from popular tourist hotels and loud attractions. The house was in a normal neighborhood about 1km from the Old Town Zadar. There was a supermarket less than 100m away and many different beaches ranging from 1-4km away. The apartment we stayed in had one bedroom, a combined kitchen and living room with a sofa bed, a spacious bathroom and a balcony looking over the swimming pool. The apartment was really clean and comfortable to stay in. There was an AC, a microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment etc. There was plenty of clean towels and soap etc. The house was as quiet as you can expect in a neighborhood during the night. The pool area was private and had a shower, WC, a grill and place to make food. The pool itself was a good size and had many sunbeds. The hosts were very polite and kind, offered us a ride to and from the airport, even at night. Only minus is that we only got one key to our door, which didn't lock without it and with many people it required planning so that nobody got locked in; or out. All things considered I enjoyed my stay a lot and would definitely recommend!

What a lovely place .Excellent apartment with a lovely pool. The owners are lovely and friendly people. We had a great stay. The apartment was so clean and had everything you would need. Thank you .

This property was even better in person than in the photos! We stayed in an apartment and it had everything we needed. The host Robert was so sweet and spent about 20 minutes with us as soon as we got there marking up a map and showing us where to go. He recommended some incredible local spots and we literally went to every single one! Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s just far enough from the center (20 min walking) to be away from chaos but close enough to not need to Uber every time.

Stayed for seven nights in the penthouse apartment, very spacious and really clean. Cooking rings, fridge and all utensils, really large comfortable balcony with covered area with furniture and two sunbeds, really nice for breakfast outside. Ample off street car parking in a quiet safe residential area. The pool area is very nice with a covered outside kitchen for use by guests. 20 mins walk along lovely marina to old town. Robert was very welcoming on arrival and gave lots of recommendations. Thank you Robert we went to all of your recommendations to restaurants, towns and beaches all fantastic. Would fully recommend it.

Cancelled my booking (done over a month prior and accepted by them) 1 week before my holiday blaming booking.com who actually been very helpful in finding us a better accommodation for the same price. I tried first fixing with them but the lady just kept saying it wasn't her fault offered us an accommodation without swimming pool (for the same price) didn't want to apply any discount only offered to give us an extra day which was pointless as we are flying. Totally unhelpful and unapologetic. Lost two customers 👋🏻

Hostel Elena offers modest private rooms and dorms with a shared kitchenette and living room. It is known for its fine location and affordable prices, making it one of the best cheap hostels in Zadar. Situated amidst cafes and restaurants with sunny terraces, it provides a quintessential Mediterranean experience for dining and drinking. The hostel is lively at night, offering the best of both worlds.
Super clean hostel in the perfect location. Somehow managed to be right downtown but still very quiet. The rooms were super clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. Staff was so lovely and kind as well, offering many suggestions for Zadar. Wasn’t incredibly social among guests but if you’re looking for a clean, sleek, and semi-private space at hostel prices, I highly recommend Hostel Elena. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The highlight was definitely the warm welcome from the owner, he’s a genuinely friendly host who makes you feel right at home. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, within walking distance to the main attractions and about 25 minutes from the bus station. The little details like complimentary tea and coffee made the stay even better. Highly recommend for a relaxed, friendly vibe in Zadar!

I could not have been happier with my time there. The bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean, which is of course always a worry when staying at a hostel. The beds have plug points and the rooms have the very necessary air conditioning. The people in my room were respectful and generally quiet. The manager / owner is lovely and incredibly helpful, providing advice for one’s time there. The location is perfect, in the centre of the old town, with everything being easily accessible and walking distance.

Perfect location near both the water and the city enter. Aircon, clean room, enough showers for everyone and very fair pricing. Thanks for being a useful and kind host!

The place was pristine clean. Possibly the best first hostel experience one could have. They had private lockers, curtains by the beds for privacy, clean sheets and showers. The receptionists were very helpful, sweet and patient, and responded to all of our questions. The location too was extremely optimal, was very close to the bus station to the airport, and was in the midst of the old town. On top of the excellent experience and location, the price was affordable and completely worth it. Thank you guys for making Zadar very enjoyable!

I have spontaneously booked a bed in a dorm and there were only a few of them aviable. They are clean, comfortable and cozy. Its a small hostel without any big chic, but it has a kitchen, a small couch, clean bathrooms and its located pretty good in the middle of the old town of Zadar close to the sea. The big plus is the staff, they are so helpful, talkative and nice. I had lovely conversations and laughs, they do everything to make you feel safe and comfortable there. I would book it again there, it was quite and the best place for not having a partyhostel. See you soon!

The view from the terrace of the apartment on the top floor is breathtaking. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary equipment, in particular an iron, dryer, microwave, oven, kettle, TV with wifi, corkscrew, basic spices, oil, pots and pans. We saw some reviews online and actually saw this listing on Airbnb, so contacted them. Petra, one of the staff during the day, quickly convinced us over airbnb chat, that we should just pay her cash once we arrived and not book through the portal, and she will give us a discount. Foolishly, we agreed, and upon getting to the location, paid over $380 in cash to check in. We were only there for the night and she instated that we have to checkout by 10 or 10:30 at most, because they are full. The location is lovely, but there were many housekeeping issues, the beds were both stained, the AC did not work, you cannot control the temp, the dishwasher was full and dirty, we had to wash the dishes. We used the key card to enter the room and when we went to our car outside to bring some items in, it was midnight by the way, the key card did not work on the way in! We were stuck outside for over half an hour until we had to find someone to call our family member who was sleeping In the morning, the elevator was out of order, so we had to lug our luggage down to leave We spoke to Petra in the morning, first of all, had to wait for 20 mins until til she came to the front desk, there was no staff in the building at all. She had an excuse for everything and her inexperience as guest services showed clearly. Instead of an apology for any of the above, she in fact started pointing out how everything was our fault, that being locked out was not a true emergency and they are not a hotel but an apartment so there was no help on staff and we should have carried our phones lol The service was the most disappointing part, and she refused to get us help to get luggage down, gave us no indication or estimate of when the elevators would work, we had waited for over an hour at that point. She pointed out to us that she was not responsible for anything that went wrong, that dirty bedding or unwashed dishes was not her responsibility, nor the key card not working or us being locked out and having no help from them. We tried to connect w her before leaving and waited around reception and even went up the stairs to find her, but there was no staff member to be found in the entire building We would not return again and regret wasting our money at a place where there is no staff or aid, no responsibility for their errors, no offer of any apology, blaming guests, and the one person on site was so inhospitable and rude

This hotel is awesome. The Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The rooftop with the pool and the view are incredible. We are here again for the second time. And many thanks to Petra, she is amazing. The service ist perfect with her! Hvala :)

Very friendly, courteous and competent reception. We really liked the room with sea view. Only 20 minutes walk to the old town. Nice pool on the roof. Unfortunately there is no integrated restaurant. The Karma Restaurant & Bar is unfriendly, incompetent and very arrogant towards its guests.

Best hotel by far in Zadar! The staff is amazing, always available and very friendly. The interior design of the hotel and the rooms are very modern and trendy. The pool and the rooftop is the perfect place to relax, sunbath and set the sun with a wine. The Restaurant downstairs offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great hotel for larger groups like ours. Overall everything was super clean and we loved our experience at La Vista Suites.

Luxurious, very modern and clean! I like the location, it's a walking distance from Zadar City centre, around 10-15 min walk. I was with my work team. There was a nice private conference room between Karma restaurant and La Vista suites we could use. We also had breakfast and dinners in the Karma Restaurant downstairs. The Apartment we stayed at was very spacious with glorious sea view. 5 star experience overall. We are already planning our next visit :) Big plus for private parking in the back, great proximity to the sea, rooftop pool where you can relax and incredibly kind and helpful staff.

This is an amazing apartment in Zadar for the family! We were staying 3 days and I can say they thought about everything. They have a baby bed, feeders and toys for kids!!! I couldnt believe my eyes when I first came into the room! There is a beautiful pool that is deep but not too deep, and it has a cool ledge for adults to sit, but my kid used it to stand and play! If you prefer beaches, one is literally in front of La Vista! And one of the best things is you can walk to the center of Zadar in under 15 minutes. If you are sporty, we saw a tennis court nearby. There are scooters to rent nearby. I couldn’t get enough of the view and all the cool, unexpected things in the room.

I had a great experience staying here. I came late but the instructions are quite clear for me to arrive with noone around and take my bed. Its a quiet hostel and I loved it, its just 10min by walk to the main bus station (either you are coming through bus or flight you will reach this bus station). I highly recommend this hostel

A nice neat and clean hostel with a great location. 10 minutes to the main core of the city. The parking lot is located behind the hostel. The host Tom is very polite and approachable. He has great tips for restaurants that are great and not too expensive. He helped me a lot with recommendations on what to go see while I'm in Zadar. I was in the hostel for 4 days. My room was cleaned every day. I had very messy roommates who left behind only trash and mess, but the hostel and the rooms were cleaned every day. The bathroom is clean❤️ The kitchen is small but great for preparing meals. In the lobby there is also a coffee machine (if you are too lazy to cook yourself) as well as a snack machine, which was great because all the shops were closed on Sunday night. Across the street from the hostel is a shopping center and a market with fresh food. That was wonderful! Everything was close to me and I didn't have to waste time going shopping far away. Props for the sea are much cheaper in a shopping center than on the beach. As a girl traveling alone, I really felt comfortable and safe. The hostel has video surveillance. Lockers in the rooms with a padlock. The privacy curtains on the beds were very practical. Definitely if I visit Zadar again. I will come back to this hostel. I would recommend this hostel. Rating 10/10

Absolutely love this place!! This is my second year in a row staying here and will definitely come back next year too. They added a kitchen and its perfect for makin yourself a small meals. Hostel is very clean and tidy and it did not disappoint at all! Tom and his wife are such a nice people and always met my needs. Even when my bus was really late Tom greeted me and let me in my room. I have no bad words for this place, none whatsoever!

Please be aware: This review is based only on one issue I have with the policy of the hostel regarding BICYCLES. The hostel itself is probably very nice… This hostel will tell you to park your bike next to a casino/public road. They don’t care if your bike is expensive. There are cameras and so they consider your bike to be “safe”. You are not allowed to park your bike inside, NO EXCEPTIONS. They told me it’s fine to cancel my reservation, you will get NO REFUND though. EDIT: After my initial request for a refund was declined and I wrote this review with disappointment, the hostel reached out to me. They gave me a refund on the next day.

Excellent choice for solo travelers. The room I was in was super new, and minimally and cleverly decorated to respond to the needs of budget travelers. For example, there were perfect desks to work on a laptop, with enough plugs for all roommates. The beds were equipped with curtains and in-built lights to provide quality privacy to everyone. My bed was very comfortable and the sheets were super clean. The bathroom and toilet were separate, both inside the room. During my stay, the bathroom and the toilet were also remarkably clean and dry. There was an air-conditioning system which worked spotlessly in the month of July when it was most needed. Outside the room, there was an electric kettle with supplementary free instant coffee and teabags. To go to the beach, one needs to walk about 1 kilometer. Across the hotel there was a shopping mall with a supermarket to buy groceries from.
Sepehr F — Google review
I loved this hostel, it was nice, fairly quiet and location great. The owner did his best helping me out on questions I had about visiting some places nearby. He also replied quickly to messages. The lockers were big, which was great. The only minus was that there was no kitchen but I was prepared for that.
S L — Google review
I stayed here for over a week and my experience was ok. My main complaint was the hostel wasn’t very clean or sanitary. The shower had mold everywhere (see pictures), the room wasn’t regularly cleaned besides changing the sheets for guests who left, and food/dishes by both small fridges were left for days. Also the bunk beds were very wobbly so often got woken up during the night. Overall the hostel felt poorly managed by doing the bare minimum and not practical for staying longer than a night or two. On the bright side, the location and having AC was good.

Very good choice. Spacious parking surrounded with beutifull flowers, clean rooms, wordrobe you can walk in and staircase with 3 m high palm tree. Not good enough? 50 m from the sea, massive balcony, aircon for really hot days, surrounded with fantastic bars and restaurants (close, but not too close, so it is not noisy)... I can carry on like this all day. Darko, the owner is really kind, friendly and helpful guy. Real pleasure to talk to him. Can't recommend enough!

We stayed for 7 nights, and loved the place. You cannot get anymore central. There is a little street noise, but, at night is was quiet. But, if you want to central, you will get noise, out of season it was silent. The host met us on time, gave all the info we needed. The rooms were spotless, well equiped, great shower, comfy bed. Parking is hard, but, its a central, pedestrian area, out of season €2 a day and we found a space daily. I really recommend the place

Fantastic apartment located right in the centre of Zadar. Loved the extra touches in the apartment also - for example, good quality coffee machine and coffee, glassware, water and soundproof windows! Great, easy and very responsive communication from Marin and Mario - and a special thank you to Mario for carrying my suitcase up the stairs! Would absolutely recommend for a stay in Zadar.

Host was very helpful with process of booking. Quick and easy communication. He was flexible with check in. Helped with recommendations of restaurants and activities. The room was very clean, beautiful and very central in old town. So considering these 3 things the price is actually quite fair. If you’re driving, the parking situation can be tricky but you get used to it. Parking around old town is no more than 5 minutes from the accommodation regardless of where you park.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner. Room was perfect, well decorated and in a great location! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to experience the city whilst having a relaxing place to stay.

The room itself is very nice, nicely decorated, clean, nice atmosphere. Location is great, in the middle of Zadar. But the building and entrance to the room is not quite nice, now apparently all apartments have ugly entrances. It looked very old school communist-style. It took a while to find the host, due to scrambled communication. He shows you the apartment and gives you 1 minute of basic information and is not very talkative. I doubted between 3 and 4 stars, since the room itself was really nice. But all in all, considering the price I decided on 3 stars.
Tatine V — Google review
We stayed at one of the Mareta apartments while visiting Zadar last weekend. The room was very nice and very clean and came with a small living room and kitchen, bedroom, and nice sized bathroom. The location was very central and made walking around town easy. The only downside was parking. We were greeted by Mario upon arrival and he suggested that we park in a parking lot nearby that only accepted coins (no cards and no bills) with hourly parking. He didn't have a lot of information about more convenient parking that would allow us to pay a daily fee rather than an hourly fee. We eventually figured out parking and it was fine but this was a bit stressful upon arrival in Zadar, would suggest improving this for future guests.
Selma M — Google review
It's a great apartment. The room felt big and was well designed. Due to its central location, it's easy to walk to any point in the old town. Only downside was the noise. We could hear one of the neighbors walking very loudly. This was especially annoying at night time..

The perfect accommodation for the beautiful old town. So near to everything, including the sea organ, but in such a pleasant and quiet area. Davor was an amazing host. He really looked after us and gave us some excellent advice on day trips, restaurants to eat at etc. Would highly recommend staying here, whenever we are back in Zadar we will be returning to this accommodation 🙌🏼 Cheers Davor!

Lovely courtroom to chill on a night but also great location for the old town and so close to the sea organ/ greeting of the sun and restaurants etc in old town. Would recommend for everyone ☺️ Our host even recommended a tour for Plitvice lakes which was well worth it and offered to make coffee etc each morning - definitely value for money and we’d love to come back

the apartment does not have 55m2 at all as they state but 40m2, misleading photos, neglected apartment, dirty towels, destroyed equipment, need to paint, playground not usable. The arrogant hosts they like to invent were often drunk with alcohol, noisy and aggressive. They bragged to us about making positive reviews on booking.com. The host dog attacked my diet !!!! I do not recommend for families with children.

(Translated by Google) Big disappointment!!! The reality was different than we expected, the photos are at least 10 years old. Unimproved surroundings of the apartment house. The rooms are much smaller than in the photos and the bathroom was absolutely mini, we could barely fit in there, ants were crawling out of the air conditioner, the beds were extremely creaky, hair on the broom, the kettle from limescale that we hated to make coffee from it. Non-functioning suction on the toilet, no drain in the shower. Road to the sea via rails. They should delete the luxury apartment from the title because there was nothing luxurious there, unpleasant host, even after posting a review on booking.com they threaten to report me for bad behavior instead of accepting the reality, it's embarrassing and pathetic!!

Our business partners booked this villa for a day trip to Croatia to finish a promotional video they're doing and we came to pick them up in this villa only to be greeted by very rude owner, requesting us to leave. Upon explaining multiple times we came to get their guests and will be leaving for a day, they kicked them out without even returning their money. Avoid this house, the apartment is on the top floor above 2 families that live there and need to know your every move. Money can maybe buy them a nice house, equipped kitchen but can't teach them manners and good service! What a way to present Croatia to 2 business owners, we were all shocked. The guys didn't even have a chance to change clothes, they would have been out all day, and flying to the UK same night, my husband came to pick them in a car and drive around town, and me and our 2 daughters came to greet them. Horrible experience, not recommend it to anyone! Also, the owners barely can communicate in English so come prepared! As per the response, from the owners- we have been guests from your guests (as in the booking policy it doesn't state not allowed) and we have first hand experienced your rudeness and shouting and threats! My profile is my name, feel free to Google it, might find out I work as a tour leader since 2008 and have never experienced such impoliteness as from you. I will never be your guest and I will make sure none of my guests, family or friends book this! As per the actual guests, they have taken legal actions to get their money back and surely will leave a review afterwards, maybe even feature it in their film, wish we filmed you scream at us from the floor under but we had no time to even unpack the equipement
Leonina G — Google review
My business partners came over, my first time meeting them so rather than them getting another taxi, I came to pick them up with my wife and 2 small daughters, only to be stopped on the outside stairs by some horrible woman shouting at us. We explained (even in Croatian) that we are there to pick their guests up, but 5 minutes later a man came to tell us and them that he will call the police and that we should all leave. I would have been happy to wait for the police especially being shouted at a language me or my partners don't speak, but as they are business men and time is money, we wrapped it up and went to film in the garden of a lovely elderly neighbour who happily let us use his garden to film one scene which was the reason they booked this house in the first place with no real intention of staying there, just a place to leave stuff between flights. Very rude! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

Stay Away, Shocking and Kicked Out after 20 minutes! If you're considering staying at Deluxe Apartman Korina & Ramona in Zadar, Croatia, do yourself a favor and keep scrolling. I've travelled all around the world and never have I had such a disastrous and downright disrespectful experience. Look, I've got a fair bit of travel under my belt, and let me tell you, I've never, ever had an experience even close to the absolute dumpster fire that was my stay at Deluxe Apartman Korina & Ramona in Zadar, Croatia. This place turned a work trip into a full-blown horror movie, no exaggeration. First, we land and we're stuck waiting in the scorching sun for 2 hours because the place is still being cleaned. We've got loads of film gear and luggage, and time's ticking—already a bad start. But when we finally meet our host, it goes from bad to downright creepy. The way she looked at me, a British-Asian, was like I was some kind of alien. She takes our pass-ports for "verification" and disappears. At this point, alarm bells are already going off in my head. While we're in this weird limbo, my local colleague shows up with his wife and 2 small kids to pick us up and take us to our film shoot. It was hot outside so we said, "Come on in, we're just waiting for our passports and we'll go once we get them." Big mistake. When the host comes back, it's like a scene straight out of a horror film. She bursts into the room, her face flushed and distorted with rage, screaming like a banshee and swearing like a sailor. She even drags her husband into this nightmare, and they both go ballistic, yelling for us to "get the F out" like we've just committed some crime. This isn't just rude or unprofessional—this is terrifying. We're in a foreign country, our passports are in her hands, and she's gone full-on psycho. And get this: she's still holding our pass-ports hostage while she's screaming at us! They said take your money back and everyone get out within 5 minutes or they're calling the pol-ice. So now we're kicked out, stranded in the blazing sun, sleep-deprived for 20 hours, and totally shaken up. We don't make a scene because we're not locals and we've got a super tight schedule, but internally, we're freaking out. Back in the UK, the horror show continues. They not only deny our refund but tries to black-mail us into removing our reviews. I've got screenshots and video I recorded on my phone - and so do my colleagues who've dropped their own reviews of this nightmare experience. We're fighting for our refund through Airbnb, but for now, do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. Unless, of course, you're a fan of horror experiences—because this one's real. Deluxe Apartman Korina & Ramona in Zadar, Croatia. Stay Away. UPDATE: In response to the Host's reply, I am the owner of booking. You can see how they are trying to brush me off, including the reviews from my colleagues. Notice how they are telling us to remove our reviews. Images added.
