Oshwal is a popular breakfast spot known for its classic and satisfying offerings. The Fafda Jalebi is highly recommended, with perfectly crunchy fafda and flavorful jalebi. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of food justifies it. Visitors praise the delicious Kadhi and mention that combining it with Raw Papaya Bhuji creates a delectable experience.
The service at this restaurant is impressively quick! We tried the fafda, khaman, jalebi, and leelvani kachori—all of which I highly recommend. The jalebi was perfectly fresh, with a delightful balance of crunchiness and softness. The fafda was delicious, especially with the chilies that added a flavorful kick. We visited early in the morning, and they were open, making this a great spot for breakfast or late-night snacks. They also offer South Indian meals, which could be a great option for lunch or dinner, although I haven’t tried those yet. Definitely worth a visit!
Dania — Google review
This casual restaurant did not disappoint. I was very happy with my meal. The service was good and friendly. Tried some local Gujarati delicacies. “Methi gota” which is a deep fried snack made from chickpea flour, fenugreek leaves (methi), spices and herbs, and “puri shak” which is deep fried Indian bread (puri) eat with spiced potato peas curry (shak). Both dishes were very nice and delicious. I was very full by the time I finished the meal. Price is reasonable for the amount of food.
Victor K — Google review
Serves delicious jalebi and fafda. Fafda is really soft and served with kadhi which is little bit on sweeter side along with raw papaya salad. Great place to have gujarati snacks in breakfast. We also tried their poori, aaloo ki subji and methi gota, both were average in taste. Prices are reasonable. This Place is having indoor seating area and parking can be done on street side. Not much crowded during breakfast.
Shivani P — Google review
I recently visited Oshwal Ahmedabad, and the experience was absolutely delightful! The jalebi and fafda, served hot with their special kadhi, were nothing short of amazing. The jalebi was fresh, perfect balance of crispy and sweetness. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more. We also tried their puri sabzi, which was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had – truly mind-blowing! The service is quick, and the food is always served piping hot, which makes it even better. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ahmedabad. A true culinary experience that you don’t want to miss
Suman C — Google review
The kind of place you go to for unpretentious always delicious food. Although they offer traditional Gujarati snacks and south indian snacks, everyone truly was there for the fafda and jalebi. Also must try are the lilva kachori and khaman Dhokla. Go in expecting little and come out with a delicious memory. Just a side note? The place is expensive for what it offers in terms of its infrastructure and ambience.
J S — Google review
We waited more than hour to finally dine in for their famous Fafda Jalebi which was worth that wait. All members of the family were involved and very smoothly managed Coldplay weekend rush.
Vipul S — Google review
Not worth the hype. Taste of the food was average. Very costly. You get much better food in road shops.

The oldest and most famous restaurant in Ahmedabad... The search for Authentic gujarati snacks and breakfast ends here. Their jalebi is a must try item there and the rest of the dishes are also at its best I actually don't have words to describe how much I enjoyed being here. Staff here are very polite and every wall and every poster/photo speaking the history itself...

We tried the fafda, gota, and jalebi, and everything was absolutely delicious. The kadhi stood out — slightly sweet but full of flavor, and I personally loved it. The sambharo was also fresh and tasty. If you’re looking to experience authentic local food, Chandravillas is definitely one of the best places to visit. Highly recommended for traditional Gujarati snacks!

Chandravilas in Ahmedabad is a legendary eatery renowned for its authentic Gujarati cuisine and nostalgic charm. Food and Taste The restaurant is especially famous for its jalebi and fafda, prepared fresh in pure ghee and served hot throughout the day. The Gujarati thali receives rave reviews for its wholesome, home-style flavors, including signature dishes like kadhi, dhokla, puri-bhaji, and methi gota. Chandra Vilas Restaurant near Gandhi Bridge instantly gives a nostalgic feel with its old Ahmedabad heritage vibe the moment you step in. I ordered Fafda-Jalebi, Khaman, Patra and Fulvadi, and each item carried an authentic taste in every bite—simple, fresh and truly flavorful. This place is not just a restaurant but a legacy, as it was once a favourite spot of our national leader Late Mahatma Gandhi, and even today, it continues to attract celebrities as well as Gen Z food lovers who come here to experience the original taste of Ahmedabad.
Jeel S — Google review
Visited Chandravilas in old city Ahmedabad and it was a nostalgic experience. The place has that puraano charm and the food feels ghar javu. Their ફાફડા-જલેબી was just perfect and the ambience takes you back in time. If you are in the old city this is a must visit spot.
Sanjay K — Google review
This is one of the oldest and most cherished Gujarati food establishments in Ahmedabad, dating back to the early 1900s—over 125 years of serving authentic flavours. Long before independence, this place had already begun building its legacy, and you can feel that heritage the moment you step inside. Located in the heart of the old city, the restaurant attracts everyone—from local families to tourists and even foreigners who come specifically to taste an original Gujarati thali. Many celebrities have visited over the years, adding to its reputation. I recently tried their thali with my friends, and it truly lived up to the history. Every item on the plate tasted fresh, balanced, and traditionally made. The flavours were comforting, the portions were generous, and the variety made the whole experience fulfilling. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the cleanliness is well maintained, even during busy hours. If you’re in Ahmedabad—whether as a resident or a visitor—you should definitely try this place. It’s not just a meal; it’s a taste of Gujarat’s culinary heritage.

Iscon Gathiya - VS Hospital is a beloved destination for anyone craving authentic Gujarati snacks in Ahmedabad. This iconic eatery has been delighting locals and visitors alike with its signature thick, crispy cylindrical gathiyas since it opened its doors in 2008. The menu features an array of delectable options, including Vanela Gathiya, Papdi Gathiya, and Fafda Gathiya, all perfectly complemented by their uniquely sweet kadhi that pairs wonderfully with dhoklas.
Everything we ordered was superb! The thepla and nylon khaman topped the list they were sooo good! Those two will definitely be my must-try recommendations.

One of the famous and very old ganthiya makers in ahmedabad as this iskon ganthiya runs in several locations of ahmedabad and also serves numerous farsan items such as ganthiya, fafda and jalebi and many more. We recently visited the paldi outlet and ordered papadi and ganthiya with green chutney and kadhi with papaya chutney and the taste was so good. I recommend it to all who are non gujarati and want to try some famous items of Gujarat then must visit this place.

> Best Authentic Gujarati Breakfast they serve. > They have Fafda, Dhokla, Khaman, Jalebi, Tea, Thepla etc on the menu. > You can stand & eat there. > You can pay by Cash/UPI. > Parking is little bit difficult to find.
Hemant E — Google review
Great place for authentic Gujarati breakfast in Ahmedabad. Their fafda, gathiya, thepla, and kesar jalebi are best sellers. What really stands out is the unlimited chutney, kadi, and spicy green chillies – they complete the meal perfectly. It’s always crowded, especially on weekends. You have to pay first, get a token, and they serve the food to your table. No seating – just standing tables. But the taste makes it all worth it. Ideal spot if you’re craving proper Gujju nashta.
Sajal J — Google review
Very quick service and amazing food. Went for breakfast and had a good time. Staff is also great.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Nasta, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The flavors were fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully crafted, offering a perfect balance between taste and presentation. Every bite reflected the quality of ingredients and the skill of the chefs. The service was prompt and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a wholesome meal, Nasta is an excellent choice. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates delicious and satisfying food! Just like the taste of salt extracted from the Himalayas hasn’t changed for thousands of years, similarly, the taste of ISKCON Gantiya has remained unchanged.”

If you’re in Ahmedabad, make sure you don’t miss one of the city’s best culinary gems. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience authentic Gujarati hospitality and flavor. The price of their unlimited vegetarian thali might give you a little shock at first, but don’t let that stop you — the experience is worth every rupee. And if you’d prefer something lighter, their à la carte section offers an equally delightful spread. The prices may be on the higher side, but the quality, taste, and overall experience make it truly value for money.

Swati Snacks near Law Garden is a timeless gem! The simple, beautiful ambience makes every visit pleasant. The food is also delicious and authentically Gujarati. Love the hygienic setup, summer slow shower facility in waiting area which gives feel like drizzling, and ample parking. A must-visit for anyone craving traditional taste with comfort! We had its Dahiwada, Patra, Paavbhaji, Falafal, Paan Chatni, Mysore masala Dosa, Chhash, Sugarcane Juice all dishes were superb in taste, non-negotiable. Do visit for your elegant experience.

It's a very authentic place for Gujarati food. It gives vintage vibes. This place is suitable for all age groups mostly families. It gives the vintage vibes. Good place for Gujarati breakfast. Otherwise service is also good.

It’s been a few years but I still remember this cafe fondly. I definitely recommend it. We tried the pain puri and some other things including a lemongrass ice cream! Try different things. It’s priced fairly & everything is delicious! Some newfound sisters and I went to town together and our local friend recommended Swati Snacks. We wanted Indian street food, but… we didn’t want the infamous “Delhi Belly”. Please don’t be offended. It’s just better-sounding than saying other WC-related words. 😅 Plus, Delhi knows. 😎

Best experience of Gujarati culture(Food, dance etc) & the ambience. Brilliantly set from Entrance to rest of the surroundings. Amazing museum and the collections with history. Must do and worth the price !

Vishala Restaurant in Ahmedabad offers an immersive Gujarati dining experience that goes beyond just food—it’s a journey into the heart of Gujarat’s culture. The cuisine itself earns a respectable 3 stars, with traditional dishes crafted with care. While some flavors may feel subtle to those who prefer bolder tastes, the khichdi is an undeniable standout—a 5-star masterpiece that perfectly balances spices, texture, and comfort in every bite. However, where Vishala truly excels is its enchanting ambiance. Dining under the open sky, surrounded by a beautifully recreated village setting, is nothing short of magical. The atmosphere alone is worth 5 stars, transporting you to a serene, rustic Gujarat. Adding to the charm is the on-site Vechaar Utensils Museum, a must-visit 5-star attraction. This fascinating collection of traditional cookware from across India offers a rare glimpse into the country’s rich culinary heritage. For those seeking more than just a meal—an experience that blends food, culture, and history—Vishala is an unforgettable destination.

The food is good. Service is very good. All the food is without onion and garlic so that's a good option for people who avoid that. There is katputli dance, Rajasthani dance, utensils museum, art gallery about gandhiji. Go there 1 hour before you are hungry. Spend some time in other activities then have your delicious food.

Gordhan Thal is a stunning restaurant located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, offering an authentic and traditional Gujarati thali experience. The venue boasts ornate decor and captures the essence of Rajwadi panache with its interior design. Guests can indulge in a variety of savory and sweet dishes that are brought to the table. It's recommended to arrive on an empty stomach as the meals are hearty and delicious, tempting diners to try a bit of everything.
You cannot miss this place if you are in the city. Cannot make reservation. If you wanna enjoy and not wait in line go around 11.30 to 1.30pm. 2pm is peak footfall. Weekdays too. There is a waiting area-they call your name and you are taken to the table. We took 20mins for our turn. So not bad. The food and service is the main deal. The food servers keep coming and start putting food in the bowl, explaining the dishes The places is alive. Every table I glanced, everyone was enjoying the food. My heart was full by taking the 1st few bites itself. The service was great. They were encouraging to try everything and wanted the experince to be good for body and soul. I will come back to ahemdabad for the food again. Thank you guys for making us try the best aamras.

The restaurant has upheld good standards of hygiene, taste and service which leads to a great culinary experience! Traditional Gujarati dishes with roti and small pooris are served at lunch (seems that rotla is served at dinner only). Parking is an issue and waiting time is high due to popularity and heavy rush at lunch time.

Gordhan Thal is among best known places with a traditional Gujarati Thai. The food is tasty and delicious. Service is awesome. Great experience of relishing the Gujarati Thali. It's a different matter that the thali is a calorie bomb! I was here to conduct an experiential Gastronomy Tour for participants of a conference. :)

My mama took me here to try this place in Ahmedabad. The Gujarati thali is delicious with 4 different sabjis, aam ras, dhokla, Farsan, salad 🥗 , chaas, sweet, rice, kadhi and dal. I loved the white kadhi, chapati and sabjis. Please beware that there is limited parking space which could be a problem if you’re with family. Cutting a mark cos the toilets were dirty, the service is not upto the mark. Even the manager is kind of rude but hey the food is nice I must say. Your stomach does not feel bloated after you’re done with the meal. Wish the hygiene and cleanliness was a notch higher.

Had to experience the Gujju Thali in the most authentic way , and it is here in Gotdhan Thal restaurant. Was packed even though it was 2:30 in the day . Super fast service and stuff is always ready and they make sure u get whenever something in finished in this all you can eat vegetarian meal. It is a very peculiar city as it's the capital of a dry state ( no alcohol ) and also 95% of restaurants serving only vegetarian dishes. It was good fun , though I had to skip the dinner as expected I overate by a mile.

We recently visited Gobardhan Thal, one of the most famous places for traditional thali meals, and the experience was excellent. The highlight here is their authentic Gujarati thali—a complete meal served with warmth and hospitality. The thali comes with everything you could ask for: starters, main course, dal, sweet, rice, roti, and farsan, all beautifully arranged in a single platter. Every item in the thali was flavorful and tasted homely. The starters were fresh, the dal was comforting, and the sweet balanced the meal perfectly. The variety ensures that you get to experience multiple flavors in one sitting, from tangy to sweet and spicy. The ambience is clean and traditional, giving you the feel of a true Gujarati dining experience. The staff was courteous and ensured we were comfortable throughout the meal. If you enjoy traditional Indian thalis or want to experience authentic Gujarati cuisine, Gobardhan Thal is definitely a must-visit.

A nice place to experience Gujrati thali. The restaurant is popular among locals. The ambience is niece. The service was also good and floor managers keep a hawk eye on every plate and ask servers to server specific food items which you finished off and it seems like how guests being feed at any Indian home. The only thing is they serve only non-shareable thali so come here with empty stomach

Rajwadu is a unique dining experience that transports you to a traditional Indian village. The open-air setting is designed to resemble a bygone era, with lush green surroundings, lantern-lit pathways, and a courtyard temple with four generation idols. The restaurant prides itself on preserving traditional Indian and Gujarati culture for future generations. The warm traditional welcome and hospitality from the in-house staff make guests feel like part of the extended family.
We visited this restaurant today for the first time. It is amazing place the ambiance is very pleasant and beautiful! They have a staging area where they have an entertainment and then a food area with kitchen views. It is outdoor restaurant with options to eat under a roof or open under a tree. The food was amazing not over spiced. Mostly indian restaurant have very spicy food to the point where we can't taste the food but this place had a beautiful blend of spices and many varieties.

Hosting my brother’s engagement ceremony at Rajwadu was an absolutely magnificent experience. The venue’s royal ambiance, traditional architecture, and serene surroundings created the perfect backdrop for a truly grand celebration. The authentic Gujarati cuisine was a total game changer rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and appreciated by every guest. The staff's hospitality and attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly, making the night stress free and joyful. Rajwadu’s magical atmosphere made the event not just memorable, but truly unforgettable a night we’ll cherish for a lifetime.

It’s a perfect place for any occasion be it dates, anniversaries, lunch or dinner, whether with friends, family, or your partner. We came here planning a budget lunch, but it ended up going well over budget haha. Still, you’ll love the food, the atmosphere, and the charm of this place. It has a very authentic style, beautifully built in and around nature, giving it a cozy vibe of its own. Still, I won't go 5-stars because we found a tiny piece of dish-washing wire scrubber and hair in the soup.

Rajwadu is a beautiful Gujarati restaurant with a charming Rajasthani theme. You can truly experience the essence of Rajasthani culture here — from the artistic decor to the live performances of traditional music and dance. One of the best places to enjoy an authentic Gujarati thali! I’ve been here twice — once for dinner and once for lunch — and both experiences were different yet equally amazing. The food is absolutely delicious, full of variety and rich in traditional flavors. The ambience adds to the charm — vibrant, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff is polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot if you want to experience true Gujarati hospitality and taste. Highly recommended!

We recently visited Hotel Rajwadu in Ahmedabad and had the pleasure of enjoying their traditional Gujarati thali. The food was absolutely delicious, with every item on the plate prepared authentically and served with warmth. The ambience of the place is another highlight – rustic, serene, and truly reflective of Gujarat’s cultural heritage. One suggestion from our experience: the thali includes a wide variety of dishes, often more than one can consume in a single meal. While this generosity is appreciated, it can sometimes lead to food wastage, especially when diners are unable to finish everything. A thoughtful approach could be to serve a basic minimum set of dishes initially, and then offer additional items based on individual preference or request. This could help reduce food wastage without compromising the guest experience. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience – excellent food, great service, and a wonderful setting. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to relish authentic Gujarati cuisine in a traditional ambience.

A Flavorful Journey: The eatery at Sheraton The eatery at Sheraton proved to be a delightful culinary experience, showcasing both the vibrancy of local flavors and the warmth of personalized service. My visit encompassed both breakfast and dinner, offering a well-rounded glimpse into the restaurant's offerings. Breakfast: A Celebration of Local Variety The breakfast buffet, while not sprawling in size, presented a surprising abundance of options. The live dosa counter, a hub of activity, churned out perfectly crisp dosas, customized to individual preferences. What truly elevated the breakfast experience, however, was the attentive table service. The arrival of jalebi and samosa, freshly prepared and piping hot, added a touch of personalized indulgence. It was evident that The eatery takes pride in offering a blend of classic buffet staples and local specialties, ensuring a fulfilling start to the day. Dinner: An Ode to Mughlai and North Indian Cuisine The dinner spread exuded a distinct focus on Mughlai and North Indian flavors, a decision that aligns seamlessly with local preferences. The aroma of rich curries and freshly baked breads permeated the air, creating an inviting ambiance. While the vegetarian options were plentiful and diverse, the non-vegetarian selection was noticeably limited. This, however, is understandable considering the dining preferences of the region. The dessert counter, laden with tempting treats, provided a sweet conclusion to the meal. The availability of freshly prepared rotis added a touch of authenticity, further enhancing the overall dining experience. Service: Attentive and Warm Throughout my visit, the service remained consistently attentive and warm. The staff's willingness to accommodate individual requests and their eagerness to ensure a pleasant dining experience were truly commendable. The eatery at Sheraton has managed to strike a balance between efficient service and personalized attention, creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Overall: A Culinary Gem The eatery at Sheraton is a culinary gem that showcases the best of local flavors and personalized service. Whether you're seeking a vibrant breakfast spread or a flavorful North Indian dinner, The eatery is sure to delight your senses and leave you with a lasting impression. While the non-vegetarian options could be expanded, the focus on local preferences and the overall quality of the food make The eatery a must-visit dining destination.

Buffet is a joke here. Absolutely no options. 1 paneer 1 veg subji. 1 pasta. Rest all basics roti rice & dal. No dessert counter. No live counter. No option in subji, rice, starters, etc. That's it. And no cleanliness in the place. We reached at 2 o'clock in noon. The people who previously had buffet might have spilled some food in buffet area which was kept as it is. I was shocked and was in disbelief that is this really sheraton hotel? The food trays were soiled with food which was dropped by others. It felt like a langar was completed there and things were left as it is. Looked really pathetic. I had booked through zomato so booking amount I paid went in vain. I was ok to leave that amount rather than eating there.

The restaurant is small but well managed. We went for breakfast. Standing dine in option is available. Delicious foods are there. Chutneys are so tasty. I like papaya chutney more tasty. Take ticket from the ticket counter and give it to the food counter. Self service. Take food items from the food counter and after finished of eating throw the disposable plates in the dustbin. Small place is available to wash hands and drinking water. And mineral water bottle is also available. No utensils and plastics are used to serve, they used only disposable papers. Very nice and clean. Location - Near Nehrunagar Cross Road, Ambawadi

was rudely reprimanded by the owner for taking an extra small disposable bowl for chutney. Instead of focusing on serving customers with respect, the owner seemed more worried about saving ₹1 than upholding basic hospitality. Look at the size of bowl which was more concerned to the owner . It’s shocking that a place claiming to serve food with warmth treats paying customers with such disrespect. If a single disposable bowl is such a big issue for them, it speaks volumes about their priorities—profit over hospitality. "Atithi Devo Bhava" clearly means nothing here.

Only disposable piece of paper are used. So no cleaning required. Very much hygienic.

Everything is freshly prepared, tastes authentic and gets delivered to your at lightning speed. The restaurant Azad Sweets and Restaurant is a popular spot for Lunch and Dinner. It offers an extensive range of sweets, as well as snacks. The signature dishes include the Azads Puri-Shaak, Sindhi Jalebi, and Magji Majun.
Time effects all but this place has been the same. This place situated in the busy streets of rewadi bazaar. This restaurant is very old since time of my grandfather and they also liked to went here to eat puri Shak and majoon. It's become tradition in our family that if we are going to Azad then our order will be puri Shak and majoon. Puri Shak - Puri Shak might look full of oil but aroma of crispy puri with potato Shak is enough to enjoy this flavourful dish. Magji Majoon - Majoon is a dry fruit and Mawa based sindhi sweet. It's too heavy and rich. Perfect dessert for winter. Azad Jake Majoon nahi khaya to kuch nahi khaya! Food is really good but if you are looking for ambience then don't even try because there is no such thing. I came here since my childhood and I observed that once a table is empty waiters will come, clean the table, refill jug and steel box which had onion, pickle, lemon slices and green chillies. The serving staff is more decent then you expect from a place such as this. Eating here was a great experience!

The oldest and famous sweet makers in the ahmedabad and also, they served fix lunch and other roti sabji items. For sweets, our most favourite item is gulab jamun. My whole family always asked me to grab some gulab jamun and other sweet items such as rasmalai from only this outlet which is the oldest shop in the heritage city area. Most amdavadis know about this shop as they have served for many years.

Third visit Jan 2020, yes I kind of like this place. Had Undhiyu & puri. Quite good, but different from the undhiyu available in Surat. Pic attached. Fourth visit Mar 2020. Had Aloo Bhindi Masala. V good. Bhindi and Aloo were cooked just right, aloo was buttery soft, bhindi was not over cooked. Masala was good, to my taste, not too punjent. Had Shahi Falooda, did not care too much for it. The atmosphere is vibrant, especially in the mornings when you can witness the magic of live food preparation.
Best snacks in town.. their fafda, gathiya, khasta kachori, punjabi samosa, papdi are so amazing.. I am a very regular customer.. they always listen to all special requests like chutney, marcha, kadhi, etc... always made freshly and hygienically right in front of your eyes... 💯/💯

Usually the sweets are always nice, yesterday we ordered ghewar, peda, and gujiya for karwachauth celebration. When we had the gujiya, it was so stale and spoilt, that the filling had turned green. Looked like it was fungus. My family members got unwell consuming it, and I have kept the gujiya as I will be taking strict action, as food is not something that can be taken lightly, it directly affects the consumers health. I ordered through swiggy, they didn't care, i am sure restaurant will have the same attitude, not expecting much here, but this was extremely disappointing. This is totally not acceptable!!

Found insect in this box, totally unacceptable. These food venders are taking hygiene for granted and they don't bother about hygiene at all. If you read this review before ordering then please stay away from and save yourself from eating contaminated food.
Jai G — Google review
Not fresh. It should be hot and made freshly but they sent bad quality product...Kamse kam fresh banake toh bhejo instead of sending pehle se bana hua maal. I will never order again from this place! They send stale chutney as well.

Haribhai Fafda Wala, officially known as Jay Ambe Farsan House, is a beloved eatery in Ahmedabad that has been delighting locals since 1965. Renowned for its exceptional fafda and jalebi, this spot is perfect for family outings. The crispy fafda, made from gram flour and spices, melts in your mouth with every bite. Alongside the fafda, you can savor their khaman and ganthiya—both equally delicious!
The fafda, khaman and jalebi were absolutely amazing! The fafda was perfectly crisp and golden, with a great balance of spices, making it a perfect savory treat. The jalebi was sweet and syrupy, with a crunchy texture that complemented the warm, melt-in-your-mouth sweetness. The combination of these two delights was nothing short of superb, leaving me craving for more. A truly delicious experience!
Kishansinh Z — Google review
Recommend obviously because they make you live gathiya, fafda, jalebi, khaman, etc. Even sometime in noon so it's a really good option for gathiya lover in Nikol and uttamnagar area. Chatni is also good. They give you many mirch as you want. So yes and you can dine in or take out.
Amit J — Google review
Amazing place for vanela gathiya and fafda ......they make it in front of you hence you get good hot food ....taste was great.
Nihar D — Google review
Very good Test of FAFDA, GANTHIYA ( હાથ થી વણેલા ) and JALEBI with chatni and chhin of papaiya.. Fafda is very slim.. It desolve in mouth as soon as eating... In the season of mango means in summary they searve small peace of row mango with chatni and add test of its own... fried green chilly also a aptilizer.... As per my knowledge they have two branches one at Bapunagar and another at Odhav... Both have good service and good hospitality.. Best option for breakfast..

Nestled in the bustling area of Navrangpura, JAY AMBE FARSAN, affectionately known as Haribhai Fafda Wala, has been a beloved culinary gem since 1965. This charming eatery is renowned for its freshly prepared fafda and succulent jalebi, making it a top destination for those craving authentic Gujarati breakfast and snacks. The warm and friendly uncle at the counter adds to the inviting atmosphere, ensuring every visit feels like home.
Undoubtedly the best place to have Gujarati breakfast and snacks in Navrangpura (CG Road, near Swastik Char Rasta). The uncle at the counter is so sweet, humble, jolly and courteous in nature. Most of the items they serve are freshly prepared. This is my place go to whenever I want to have some local Gujarati snack. This place is quite popular for their taste & you'll always find it pretty crowded. Coming to the food, my personal favourites are: 1. Fafda with papaya chutney & salad. 2. Khaman (wet), as they have dry khaman too. 3. Gota (pakori) 4. Chinese samosa, small in size but huge in taste. 5. Kala-Jam & Jalebi. 6. Kachori. 7. Patra (freshly prepared, steamed) 8. Papdi & namkeens. All of their items are so delicious & worth a try.
