Hotel
The Peninsula Manila, part of the renowned Peninsula Hotels chain, opened in 1976 as the first property outside China. With 469 rooms and 46 suites, it offers chic accommodations and modern designs. The hotel's lobby is an architectural gem reflecting Manila's glamour. Situated in Makati's center, it provides stunning skyline views and beautifully landscaped gardens. Known as 'The Jewel in The Capital's Crown,' the hotel features fine dining at The Lobby restaurant and elegant decor throughout.
One of the best hotel lobbies. Super cozy. The restaurants as well serve good food. Rooms are really nice and clean. Gym is quite big as well. Pool area is lovely. One of the best classic and original hotels ib Manila

Nestled in the business district of the city center, The Peninsula Manila is a renowned resort. This 5-star property offers a plethora of complimentary services and amenities for business travelers and modern families on the move: early 6am check-in, late night checkout at 10pm, a full gym with 20% off of spa offerings, on-site Michelin dining, poolside bar, business center, and private ballrooms for conventions. The Gallery Club Lounge, located on the 3rd floor, offers a variety of culinary delights throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, it is the hub for white-glove concierge services, making it suitable for quick meet-and-greets. The service was impeccable and the decor was rustic with lavish accoutrements sprinkled throughout. Without a doubt, this is one of the top accommodations the city has to offer.
360 M — Google review
Classy hotel, Warm hospitality at the Gallery Club, but Escolta service fell short We were excited to stay at The Peninsula Manila after a wonderful experience at The Peninsula Chicago, where we learned that several of the Chicago team originally came from Manila. The warmth and professionalism we encountered from the front desk and concierge team here — especially Andrew, Gabrielle, and Sophia — immediately made us feel welcome and well cared for. The Gallery Club Lounge was another highlight. Service there was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The team anticipated needs without being intrusive. Bartender Eds was great. We also appreciated Adam at the sushi bar, who was friendly and accommodating. Where the experience fell short was at Escolta, where the food and service did not live up to the otherwise high Peninsula standards. While breakfast and dinner selections were varied, staff were often slow to respond or difficult to flag down. Drink orders sometimes took a long time, and the buffet dinner, though extensive, seems pricey when compared with other top tier hotels. Overall, our stay had several bright spots — particularly the Gallery Club team and front desk staff — but service consistency at Escolta kept it from being the flawless experience.

A truly magnificent and unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped into The Peninsula, the ambience was simply perfect—elegant, sophisticated, and wonderfully relaxing. It provided the ideal setting for a luxurious afternoon. We indulged in the classic Afternoon Tea, which was an absolute treat. Every bite, from the freshly baked scones to the delicate pastries, was exquisite and demonstrated impeccable culinary artistry. Complementing this perfectly, the wine selection was superb, making for a truly celebratory feel. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the outstanding service. Every waiter and waitress we encountered was easy to approach, exceptionally professional, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. They anticipated our needs with grace, ensuring a flawless and highly personalized experience.
Marlyn R — Google review
I found that the Peninsula Manila is an incredible hotel in terms of service and amenities, but the rooms are definitely dated and in need of refurbishment. I was checking into the hotel for four days to explore Manila and had high hopes, as this was my first visit to a Peninsula hotel, and I had read some incredible reviews about them. The lobby of the hotel is impressive and they were starting the Christmas decorations. Check-in was fast and the service was friendly. The bellhop escorted me up to my room with my luggage and showed me how to work the room. I must admit that when I walked into the room, I was extremely underwhelmed. The furniture was dated and the room had just bare white walls. There were two chairs and a table in the room, and I felt that they were leftovers from other rooms. The bathroom is very dated and has missing caulk and mold in the corners. The shower itself is very cramped, but it has good water pressure and temperature. In fact, I had to change rooms as my AC was not working, nor was the refrigerator in the room. The real saving grace for the hotel is the service and amenities. I had access to the 3rd-level lounge area, and the food options at night were basically a full buffet. Even the breakfast in the morning had a great variety. The service at the hotel is exceptional. Whenever I needed something or simply walked around the hotel, my needs were promptly taken care of. I also understand the ambiance of the hotel as I sat one night on the 3rd level lounge listening to the orchestra play and taking it all in. This hotel would be a full five-star hotel if it updated the rooms. It would take the hotel to another level.
Norman M — Google review
Gorgeous hotel with elegant 90s vintage rooms. I know this because I have been visiting since the 90s. Old technology, n broadband connection (DSL maybe?). Slow Wi-Fi, I tested it at midnight. Time to evolve. Worst 5-star resort reservation system I've encountered, and I travel a lot. Rebuffed by management to discuss. Front desk staff is fantastic, and everything else is operated correctly. This is a management issue, for sure. Asleep at the wheel.
Roger — Google review
The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the lobby exudes elegance and charm. While the room decor reflects the hotel's age, but it offers comfort and simplicity. Breakfast mainly features delicious local specialties, providing a unique taste experience that sets it apart from typical continental options. Overall, our experience was truly wonderful, and we're already looking forward to our next visit to the Peninsula Manila!
EJ L — Google review
Super clean and amazing experience! Easy check in and check out, everyone is friendly and the food options are overwhelming. The hall and the room are great, JM is awesome at the front desk Definitely will come back again!

Cafe
Filipino restaurant
Milky Way Cafe, a long-standing restaurant in Makati established in 1962, offers classic Filipino dishes such as their renowned Milky Way Kare Kare, Baby Crispy Pata, Bistek Tagalog, and Dinuguan at Puto. The establishment provides a nostalgic dining experience with traditional flavors. Originally a dairy bar in the 1950s, it has evolved into a go-to spot for Kapampangan cuisine.
we went there for sunday lunch - we waited an hour to seated in the hallway w/c was real humid. suggest you call to reserve a slot or come in for an early or late lunch. we waited still coz we’re curious as to why this was so recommended to eat at. had an issue w/ the parking guard also for he did not seem to want to assist us when we asked where the valet was. he just starred blankly at us. and when we asked again at a tone that he can hear that someone was speaking to him. he said there was none and even commented that the auto we have was too long. hmmm. already reported to management and we still ate here coz the food was indeed delicious. the inihaw na baboy tho was just tooooo gamey but the rest were stellar.
Always G — Google review
I’m on a quest for superb dinuguan (Filipino pork blood stew) from food providers that are consistently reliable to buy from. Actually I already found the perfect delicious one — Juliet’s Lechon. However they don’t always have it in the menu and usually it’s just included as a freebie when you order their whole lechon. Anyway back to Milky Way. It ain’t them. Apart from being overpriced (teeny portion for the price), the dinuguan is full of lean, stringy, dryish pork, essentially ruining the dinuguan experience as a comfort food. The timpla is excellent though with the right balance of suka and spices. Maybe they could offer an option of all lamang-loob sans the pork. Or use fattier pork or bagnet or lechong kawali maybe. The puto is also excellent though a bit on the too sweet side for my taste.
Bill Y — Google review
We ordered the dinuguan and it was so good! The halo-halo was great too! We also enjoyed the service. The ambiance could use an upgrade with a little more on the modern side.
Carlos B — Google review
Definitely come here for their halo-halo, as it is some of the best in Manila. They also have amazing local ice cream flavors and great steak with mashed potatoes. However, their sinigang is a little too sour for my taste, and they don't have many vegetarian options. Service is really good and there's a large space for dining.
James — Google review
Dinuguan, lumpiang ubod, maya maya escabeche were all good but pricey for small portions. Finish your meal with their famous halo halo 🎉 Pleasant staff, fast service. One thing I did not like was their NFA rice, it was dry, chewy, jolly-jeep quality.
Mike C — Google review
An old school but still a goodie. If you are looking for real authentic filipino flavor this is the place. Highly recommended specially to balikbayan or tourist. They stayed true to the filipino flavors, no gimik just good filipino food. My fave was the diniguan, been a longtime since I tasted this real flavor. Another fave is the Kare Kare and Krispy Pata.
Dennis O — Google review
Definitely a great place to have Halo-Halo and other ice cream desserts, in addition to a full menu of Filipino dishes. The restaurant is located in the second floor of a building housing several restaurants. There are two dining areas that are clean and comfortable. Service was professional; however our server took a long time before he came to take the order. Our order was delivered quickly and the quality excellent. We had the Milky Way Halo Halo, The Ginumis Halo Halo and ice cream. Everyone was happy with their order. In addition, the restaurant sells packaged and jarred items to bring home or give as gifts.
JMQZ — Google review
The food is so so nothing special, however the price is quite expensive. Coffee is okay. Service is superb, the staff were attentive and accommodating. The place looks really old , it needs improvement. FYI their toilet is outside the restaurant. Food  ⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price ⭐ Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐ Order Lead Time ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Parking ⭐ Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PWD Friendly ⭐⭐⭐ Pet Friendly ? Bidet ✅ Hand Sanitizer ✅

French restaurant
Dr. Wine Manila, located in the vibrant area of Poblacion, offers a delightful combination of fine French cuisine and an extensive selection of wines. Chef Julien Lecomte presents a menu featuring well-curated cheese and cold cut platters, as well as expertly cooked meat dishes to complement the wine offerings. The establishment also houses the Kartel rooftop bar, providing guests with a stunning view of the Makati skyline while they enjoy their drinks. Despite its hidden location, Dr.
Oh my! Our experience was truly superb. We had such a great time, and the steak was excellent! The sangria I had was absolutely wonderful, and I loved it. I also tried an Amaretto, which was really good too. There was just a minor hiccup with the table we were given, as there was a small leak from the ac. However, overall, the food we had was outstanding and definitely made up for it! Worth the price and will definitely go back.
Jo V — Google review
We booked the whole 3rd floor for a get together with my friends in the perfume hobby. the place is nice and the food is good. i especially loved the chicken liver paté and the Brie with truffle. serving size for the mains are meant for sharing so dont make the mistake of buying too much or you might not be able to finish it. i loved the cocktails as well.
Vonn O — Google review
One of our best date nights in Makati! We absolutely enjoyed the steak and wine - ended up getting 2 bottles because it was such a good deal. We’re glad we found this spot, and they even have a rooftop bar! Just a small note - we were a bit surprised there wasn’t any free bread or starter considering the price. Not a complaint, just an observation. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back!
Leah L — Google review
Love the vibe here—perfect spot for the millennial crowd! I attended an event last night (October 6) and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious and the portions are generous—big enough to share. I ordered the Truffle Pasta and you can really taste the truffle, which was amazing. The cocktails and red wine were also spot on. Special shoutout to my server, Rainier, who was very accommodating and made the night even better. Highly recommend!
Greg M — Google review
Wine bar that always has great quality wines by the glass and fantastic food to go along with it. I like especially the items in the “home made” section of the menu where you can order pates and rilletes etc to have with the wine. The bread is Europe quality which is rare in Asia. They have several outlets but this one is exceptional for its fantastic rooftop terrace.
Ryan H — Google review
Eat here two days. Will be back when Next in Manila. Onion soup and Foie Gras the first night. On the second day, I had the prawn flambé the pate and the salmon. They do a two for one between five and seven on glasses of wine and alcohol - I think it’s Monday to Friday, and it makes it very very good value. Don’t miss out. Definitely eat here.
Kevin G — Google review
Beautiful interiors, multiple floors. Great for get togethers. Food was good, french. Didnt know what i was ordering tho cause pictures non existent.

Agave Mexican Cantina, located at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig, Philippines, offers a delightful menu of crispy deep-fried chimichangas topped with homemade salsa and melted cheese. This popular establishment also serves unlimited mojitos and margaritas, allowing customers to customize the alcohol content to their liking. The prices are reasonable, making it an attractive option for diners.
I’ve been here more than 6 times and each time the food is great. Never had a disappointment. Service is also very accommodating. Love it here.
Bob T — Google review
We went here after watching a theatre performance nearby. We chose it because of its good reviews. And we agreed. The food were great. We ordered chimichanga and enchilladas. Both are delicious. Meanwhile the ambiance was just okay. The place seemed old. Even the background song was in its 90s. The tables and chairs looked like they have been used for a long time. Anyway, our stomachs were satisfied so we may come back or try their other branches if we are nearby.
Veini Q — Google review
This Mexican restaurant is very very good. The food is super tasty with true Spanish flavors & dishes. Menu has many offerings than anyone is sure to enjoy. The fresh juices are truly fresh and delicious. Solid place for cocktails 🍸. The dishes here are authentic and so savory. Would recommend. One of the best restaurants in the area. Located on 2nd floor of the mall here. Friendly staff, very clean restaurant. Prices are fair. Must try the incredible flavors of the Mexican dishes here. For sure you will enjoy!

The atmosphere was so cozy ✨, and the service was impeccable. I tried the mexican sisig it was awesome..I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a great dining experience!

The ambiance is great. The place is quite small but the high ceiling makes it look big inside. Their al fresco seats are really fresco because of the breeze. The food is great! Will definitely go back to try their other food.

We like this place much and the other locations. Maybe we've eaten here and other locations 40 times since they opened.
David C — Google review
Ate here for quick light dinner - reasonably priced and seasoned
Nina — Google review
Went here for the 1st time around 6pm for dinner. We ordered the Mixed Grill Platter,Cheese Quesadilla and Sangria. Ambiance/Place: The place is clean and the air conditioned dining area was just right. But the couches/leather seats can be improved as some parts have already peeled off. You might get scratched if you're wearing shorts or skirt. Service: I hoped the servers have nameplates for easier call out whenever we need something. Food: First served to us was the Cheese Quesadilla. It was still hot, the sauce and the salsa with it goes really well. Highly recommended as an appetizer. We ordered a Mixed grill platter for us 2 pax diner. The steak, ribs and chicken were warm. It's like it's been sitting waiting to be served for a period. Although we could have asked it to be reheated. But we were hungry. The Java rice was good, but the lime rice (I forgot the name) was too dry. The sauce for the chicken was really good though. We also ordered the Sangria, but it was to bitter for our taste.

Chicken restaurant
Max's Restaurant is a well-known Filipino chain that has gained popularity for its signature fried chicken served with banana ketchup. In addition to their famous dish, they also offer classic Filipino breakfast plates featuring boneless bangus, chicken longganisa, tapa, and tocino served with garlic rice and eggs. For those with a sweet tooth, the Triple Chocolate Champorado is a delightful alternative. Originally a regular restaurant, Max's has expanded into a multinational chain with outlets in fast-food formats.
Always a delight every time I have something in this nostalgic restaurant. Food is always great and never disappoints. Our food was flavourful and filling. Their tocino and garlic rice is always my favourite & top it with Ube Leche Flan shake. This place is always highly recommended. Not much to say other than YUM! So come and enjoy the offerings.

Ordered their crispy pata and i love it. It is crispy and juicy. I also ordered their sisig. It is my first time to taste a sisig with some cream in it and i do like it. They have plain rice which cost 40 php per cup but they have also crab meat rice and adobo rice which are really tasty. They also have budget meals. There is an area where occassions can be held like birthday or something. The place is nice and overall it is great.

Kare-kare was good, special halo-halo but nothing special. Place is a bit hot, not much ventilation. Has flies roaming in the place and restaurant had no resolution about it. Needs a lot of improvement I would say.
SexyJexy — Google review
A meal at Max’s has really been much much more expensive than before. Platter Meal costs 329php. Yeah it’s good, but still pretty steep for a very simple meal. They don’t even serve free drink with it anymore.

Waited 1 hour just for a small meal. Also no notice of longer waiting time since no large crowd that day but still neglected other customer orders.

Ruby Wong's Godown is a hidden gem, a speakeasy with inventive cocktails and a laid-back ambiance. The Green Opium cocktail, served in a skull glass with an herb cigar, is a personal favorite. The attentive staff at this opium den-themed bar make guests feel extra special. The secret entrance adds to the immersive experience of the restaurant's interiors. It's worth visiting for delicious food and great service, making it a nice place for cocktails accessed through a hidden entrance.
Good cocktails and dimsum, amazing ambience. A bit pricey, but nice for a special night out. Order the truffle buns and the hakaw. If you come on a Saturday night, there is a very good jazz band.
Estesa L — Google review
This is a lovely place to chill. The dimsum basket, drinks were great. The performers and DJ were spot on. Too bad they only had 1 waitress and airconditioning condensate dripping from the ceiling (explaining what we thought was a left over ice bucket- it was too catch the dripping water!). I suggest to make reservations go enjoy the sunset at the 9th of the Admiral Hotel then head over to Ruby Wongs to maximize the visit.
Pablo Y — Google review
Amazing! Expert bartenders, superb ambiance and great hostesses. The bartenders are passionate about their craft. Cocktails are high quality and prepared with care. They're also able to make any cocktail you dream off. Ambiance-wise, it's cozy, comfortable and more than Instagram-worthy. The Chinese interior design is done with a great attention to detail and style. For a fun experience, enter the bar through the Hotel Lobby, through a hidden door behind a bookshelf. Not sure if I should've told you that secret (I'll be looking over my shoulder for Chinese secret agents to hunt me down for spoiling this secret entry). This is easily my favorite bar in The Philippines and a big recommendation for couples, friends and solo travelers.

We didn’t order food so I can’t rate that. The drinks were great though!!! All were very different and flavorful. I had the quirk squirt. The live band was absolutely great!! They were so talented.

Such a cool place to have cocktails. It felt like a speakeasy entering via the bookshelf. Nice decor and friendly staff. The cocktails were reasonably priced and also interesting tastes. One even came with a herb cigarette for the taste experience.
JP F — Google review
I was under the impression it was a hidden speakeasy but they have it advertised so I guess not. You can go through the front entrance or if you’re hotel guests, you can go through hidden entrance/wall. Drinks are on the expensive side, nothing to be really impressed. What’s worse is that two of their cocktails are not even available. Dim sum is so so as well. Atmosphere is nice though.

The Hidden Opium Den Themed bar of The Admiral Hotel. We always feel extra special here because of the attentiveness and overall service of the staff. Our go-to drinks are: Green Opium Heaven (with herbal cigarette) and Fiery Dragon :)
JeiFer — Google review
A low-key location at Admiral hotel M gallery. A pleasantly surprising den boasting 1930s Shanghai ambiance. They serve impeccable cocktail concoctions and small plates with a good crowd - decent, as opposed to what a speakeasy initially was somewhat for hedonistic pursuits. One of the best bars in Manila.

Makati Diamond Residences is a luxurious lodging located in the heart of Makati's central business district. The hotel offers modern and chic accommodation with free WiFi access. Situated conveniently across Greenbelt 1 & 5, it provides easy access to top commerce, leisure, and dining destinations.
The room was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed—perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. The location is excellent—just a few steps away from Greenbelt Makati, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. Breakfast at Alfred was superb. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. They reserved our preferred table, and while we waited, Johnson thoughtfully offered us our choice of coffee and made sure we were comfortable. This hotel truly lives up to its name and fully deserves a diamond rating.
Eloisa S — Google review
I had a great stay at Makati Diamond Residences. Greenbelt is one of my favorite spots in Makati so the location was perfect. The area also has lots of local coffee shops, restaurants, and bakeries if you walk a few blocks (Legazpi and Salcedo Village). The hotel is marketed towards business travelers so the decor is very contemporary and polished. If you’re wanting a stay with more character and color, this wouldn’t be it. However, if you want a comfortable stay with consistent service this is a good choice. Note, during my stay there was a constant flow of visitors for events and occasions so the elevators would get filled up at peak times. I loved the breakfast buffet (try their Ube ensaymada!) which had Filipino and fusion food options served in a spacious dining room. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of lighting and outlets. It would be great to see USB plugs added in the future. Overall, this hotel offers approachable luxury and is a solid upgrade if you want to splurge from a budget option.

This is not a 5-star establishment. It is a 3-star hotel wearing a long trench-coat with "5-star hotel" scribbled on it and yet they charge 4-5 star hotel prices. I've stayed here 3 times in total and on every of those occasions, I've gotten a fungal skin infection after my stay that I had to treat to clear up. The other two times after the first was me giving them the benefit of the doubt assuming maybe the prior time was an isolated, one-off occurrence. Alas, that wasn't the case. I don't know how they clean their bedding or towels but something is off with it. Their room and bathrooms are old and poorly maintained and the wear and tear on them is rather palpable. The second time I stayed, when they cleaned the room, I had to ask them to change the sheets several times as they replaced my previous sheet with another that had stains on them. Their breakfast is a bit varied but ultimately underwhelming. I experienced having to be waitlisted to eat at a hotel buffet for the first time at this hotel. Whoever planned the hotel space erred greatly in the size of the dining area as the available seating space cannot accommodate the hotel's guests even at medium capacity which leads to you being asked to share tables with strangers. A completely unheard of phenomenon to me until I stayed at this hotel. During my first time eating at the buffet, I almost bit on a hard rock in the rice. Thank God I didn't. The best they could do was "apologise" for that health risk with fruit salad. Be very careful when staying here.

5 Stars? It's a full blown 2 star experience. At best. Don't be fooled by the nice entrance are. Rooms are rundown. The aircon is completely random. Ignores settings and room temperature oscillates between too hot and too cold. Avoid the "filtered" water. The aircon in the bathroom randomly dripped so hard into my toilet bag, I had to throw away everything water sensitive. So the next time you are considering to stay there. Just don't. It's not worth the money and there are better options out there for that price.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our recent visit in the Makati area. The experience was way beyond our expectations from checking-in, rooms, breakfast, facilitates and staff. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, cosy and safe. Security was good too. Our breakfast experience was exceptional. Mr. Roi make sure every detail is taken care of, and the next day everything is set for us. The selection of local and international cuisine was great and delicious. Upon checking out Ms. Angelica graciously extended our check out time from 12 noon to 2 pm since we have a mass to attend across the hotel. The location of the hotel is great, very strategic, easily accessible to many major attractions, food and shopping area. Getting Grab and taxi is also easy. Congratulations to the top management for creating and maintaining such a wonderful team. Highly recommended and definitely value for money.

Manam is a popular culinary haven known for its delicious food, nice ambiance, and reasonable prices. The restaurant offers a variety of serving sizes, making it ideal for solo diners, those on a budget, or anyone looking to sample multiple dishes without wasting food. The menu features freshly prepared Filipino dishes available in small, medium, or large portions. Diners recommend trying the House sisig for its crispy and flavorful appeal and the Kansi Corned Beef Belly for its tender beef.
Been wanting to try their crispy palabok, and it didn’t disappoint, twas worth the wait 🤌 Loved that they open early, perfect for night shifters like us. The ambiance of the place, food and service is superb! Kudos to sir Carlo for providing us an excellent service, very accommodating. Will definitely go back.

I’ve seen a lot online and heard many talk about this place. I was so excited to try it. I felt however it’s a bit over hyped. It’s positioned as Filipino comfort food delivered in an upmarket way. We had the beef sinigang with water melon. Sinigang should be sour. However this was quite sweet and tasted like more of a tomato soup as the tomato’s were sweet and overpowered the sourness. The beef was mainly fatty without much in terms of beef chunks. After coming from the province this was a fail where we got better sinigang in the province. The rest of the food it just felt like they tried to twist and tweak and modernise it. But every time I’ve seen this done by restaurants across the world it fails. The reason being nothing beats real Filipino comfort food made by Lolo and Lola. I guess trying to change fundamentals of the standard dishes is always a dangerous game to play. The calamansi tart at the end was beautiful and creamy and this was the highlight. The coffee was very average they clearly are not great baristas. The atmosphere and fit out is lovely and the staff were excellent - happy and responsive. But it’s the food that lets this place down. I’m not saying it’s terrible. But for what you pay you can get a lot better.

Had breakfast here yesterday and it’s a friendly atmosphere. Food was good , but one of our drinks never came and we had to ask for it just to be informed that they did not have it available but was offered an alternative. Other than that, our experience was good. They even have hooks under the table to hold your bags to keep them off the ground or hanging on the chairs. Price was decent and portions were generous, more than enough for one person. The garlic rice was very good. Calamari squid comes in 3 sizes, we ordered medium. The one sago drink was great.

Excellent food and quick service. We came in a busy time and we were served quick. Great value for money as the serving size for each meal and drink was generous. Also a good thing to note that the place is pwd and family friendly. I highly recommend the crispy sisig, pork sinigang and their sumptuous milkshakes, ube and buko pandan. This restaurant deserves more stars! We were gracefully served by Vin, Lou and Joy. Regards to all Manam BGC Uptown staffs!
Antonietta — Google review
The food here is amazing! The sinigang had the perfect tang, the garlic rice was flavorful, and the crispy pork and center cut bangus was super crunchy and tasty. Everything felt like comforting Filipino home cooking but done really well. Service was excellent and quick too. Definitely a place I’d come back to!
T T — Google review
My parents, daughter, and I found this place while we walking around BGC looking for some comfort Filipino food and found Manam. All the food was AMAZING!! Highly recommend this restaurant. The vibes were awesome too.

I ordered the small Sinigang na Beef Short Rib & Watermelon because I was curious. I had high expectations but was disappointed, there’s nothing special about it. My husband ordered the medium Overloaded Garlicky Chicken and Pork Belly Adobo. He said it was okay, but it’s all bone. Lol. So if you’re a foreigner who likes meat, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU I do love their Mango + Pomelo + Sago and Mango with Binagoongan though!

Tatatito in Makati offers a fresh take on classic Filipino cuisine, with subtle upgrades to traditional dishes. The restaurant's specialties include the Tatatito Crispy Grilled Sisig and their version of the Classic Beef Kare Kare. The modern tropical design and large glass windows create a comfortable dining experience. Tatatito is known for its homecooked-style Filipino food served in a laidback and bright ambiance.
Had an amazing dining experience here last time i visited my home town. Ive got invited by a friend to try one of her favourite restaurant in Makati. First off, you'll definitely want to stick to the safe side and reserve a table as they're packed on the weekends. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food came out at the same time and both cooked to perfection. Can't go wrong with anything on this menu. Kudos to all the chef who made my cravings more satisfying!!! Classic palabok and gising gising were my top picks. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Pretty sure to come here on my next vacation..

The entire meal at Tatatito felt like being welcomed into a Filipino home for a grand celebration. The food is familiar yet refined, offering genuine, soul-satisfying comfort without ever feeling heavy. For a first-timer, the menu is an ideal primer to the cuisine: a perfect blend of savory pork, fresh seafood, comforting noodles, and crispy textures that define Filipino cooking. The ambiance complements the food, making it an excellent place to share a multi-course meal with family and friends. If you're looking for an unforgettable introduction to Filipino food, or simply a fantastic meal, Tatatito is an absolute must-visit.

If you’re looking for a modern Filipino Food with a twist this a highly recommended alternative! It is locate within Dela Rosa Village. I really loved everything that I have ordered at this Filipino Restaurant. I love the ambience its very cozy & contemporary. Among the dishes that I have ordered Okoy & Seafood Camaron are my favorites. The Seafood Camarom reminds me of eating sweet & sour pork & the Okoy feels light, airy & not oily. I hope they can further expand in other locations around Metro Manila because they serve to be known and recognize. I hope can also try there other dishes soon and there desserts since i feel so full already.

Ordinary Filipino food… yes… but the way they cooked and served it added to the very splendid experience. But the lady guard who’s opening the floor is not that welcoming though. The ambience is calm and steady. The servers were always on their feet. The adobong pusit was another reason to return again. The kare kare was also soooooo good. I will definitely come back.
Joanna G — Google review
A clean and spacious interior serving delicious Filipino food in a more contemporary style. They are known for their halo-halo, which is quite delicious and creamy, but they also have an assortment of traditional dishes that are just as good. Many go for their afternoon snacks/merienda, but you can order food all day long, just note that outside of main dining hours, the food will take 20 minutes to prepare. Only complaint is that some of their dishes will be spicy and not noted on the menu. Their sago is also quite sweet, so be prepared.
James — Google review
1st time trying and was blown away with the great taste of local philippino cuisine which I enjoy. Service was average and waited really long for the food to be served. Cold beer served was not cold and the restaurant brought a ice buckle. Will return again for the food

Our dining experience was excellent, thanks to the wonderful service and delicious food. However, we noticed that a few of the soup bowls had chips on the rim and not enough for all of us. Despite these minor issues, we'll definitely be back to enjoy another meal here.

We had such a wonderful dining experience here at Tatatitos! The food was delicious and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. Family restaurant
Pat-Pat's Kansi is a humble eatery in Ilo-Ilo that offers a delightful bowl of Kansi, the local version of bulalo. This dish features beef shank soup made sour with batwan fruit. You can savor their Kansi Bulalo to relish the marrow or opt for the meaty Kansi Laman. It's like a fusion of bulalo and sinigang, soured by batwan instead of sampalok.
This restaurant is already an institution here at San Antonio Village in Makati. Located along Sampaloc St, it has moved from its original location which the owners, Taboy and Richie Servando, rented to the bigger and better location next door which they now own. The restaurant is named after their daughter Patricia who also manages the original Pat-Pat's Kansi in their hometown of Iloilo. Food - 5*, can't go wrong with their Kansi. I normally order the laman version but this time I went for the Bulalo boneless with bone marrow integrated to the flavorful broth. Kansi is like Sinigang but instead of Sampalok or Kamias, Negrenses or people from Iloilo use batwan as the souring agent resulting to a different taste profile altogether introducing a little sweet and fruity taste. Their Inasals are also top-notch and we tried both Pecho and Paa cuts. We also had well-done Atay and Balun-balunan which was not rubbery and a delight to pair with the suka, Toyo, and sili sauce. Service - 5*, servers are always attentive and aim to please. Atmosphere - 4*, predominantly white, clean looking, larger than before and fully air-conditioned Parking - 3*, good for at most 3 vehicles, street parking is not allowed
Chito M — Google review
I find their food overpriced, especially given how underwhelming their "specialties" taste. Service is disappointing, the staff seem more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers. For the same price, you’ll find far better food, service, and ambience elsewhere.
Etel M — Google review
We loved it here! The milk fish, bone marrow, everything was so delicious and authentic. I love their vinegar sauce too. Our marrow surprisingly didn't have much inside but they made sure we got some marrow after we showed them. Super sweet of them, good service and nice and clean space - Can't wait to be back.
Lala B — Google review
Went for bulalo, also had Kansi Laman & Petcho. Atmosphere was so-so bcuz it's so noisy. Sounds echo throughout, there's no sound dampening. As more people come in, the worse it becomes (place is very popular), you cannot even hear yourself talk. Food was uninspiring - we asked for medium bulalo, but were told only large was available (!?!?!). So got the large and were told it would have been enough for 4 people....no not really. It was a large end of tibia, but the amount of marrow was quite minimal. Only enough meat and tendon for maybe 2 moderately hungry people. Soup was rich and tasty, altho somewhat salty. The Kansi Laman was a small bowl of same broth with a few small pieces of meat and fat, definitely NOT worth the money or effort. Since they had no Isol (Manok), we got Petcho - another waste, dry, pre-cooked. Good crunch on skin and taste was okay, but shudda waited and ordered it later to get fleshly Grilled one. I also ordered medium bulalo for take home and it was available AND bigger than the large we had for dine-in!
Ishka B — Google review
The kansi’s bone was way too big and barely had any meat. The soup tasted decent though. We were 2 people so we still got hungry and ordered the sizzling kansi. It was slightly better than the kansi, but again not a lot of meat. They do offer some parking in front of the restaurant but limited. The restaurant is just simple, no aircon. I saw they do have chicken inasal, interested to try it next time.
John V — Google review
Patpat’s Kansi never disappoints. The kansi is full of flavor, comfort, and that perfect balance of sweet and savory. Tastes just like home!
Nadine H — Google review
We came here on a Friday night. Understandably, the place was busy—but the moment we sat down, the server was already hovering and asking us to order, not even five minutes in. I know the menu’s short, but still, give people a chance to look through it. We got the large kansi, which they say is good for two people. Honestly, it barely fed two of us. It was just for one. The amount of meat was disappointing. If you’ve seen the other reviews complaining about the small portions—they’re not exaggerating. As for the taste, it was fine. Nothing bad, just nothing special. The meat wasn’t particularly tender or flavorful. For the price, definitely not worth it. This branch, at least, has gone downhill. Not sure how the other ones are doing, but if it’s the same kind of service and the same stingy servings, then you’re not missing anything.
Lizzie K — Google review
If you are looking for some Filipino comfort food then this is the place. They always serve their signature Kansi dish hot which is so soothing after a stressful day. By the way, they already moved just beside their old location. The place is smaller but is clean and has air conditioning. Parking however is still limited.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic taste of Tuguegarao, look no further than Chie Chie's Tuguegarao Pancit Batil Patung. Nestled a few blocks away from other popular eateries, this charming spot offers a delightful dining experience under the shade of a large tree. The star of the menu is undoubtedly their pancit batil patung, which comes in three variations based on toppings and is incredibly flavorful.
Very tasty food! Amazing crispy pork noodles & crispy pork rice. I would highly recommend this place to eat for lunch or dinner. Must be tried with the spicy sour soy dipping pot 👍🏼🇵🇭

Street parking only. Pay as you order. They cook and serve by batch so there's waiting time. You may share outdoor tables with other customers. It's under a shed. Noodles are bland so the onions, calamansi, soy sauce and vinegar will make it tasty. Poached egg yolk added creaminess to the noodles. I like their karahay or Lechon kawali. It's crispy and lean. In the middle of my meal, a cup of soup batil is served. It's like an Egg drop soup. Servers are pleasant to talk to. My tummy is full as I leave the place.

Customers rave about the Beef Caldereta, Ginataang Hipon, Inihaw na Tilapia, Sinaing na Tulingan, and the bestselling Inihaw na Liempo. Some find it reminiscent of Indonesian cuisine due to the grilled food and coconut milk-based broth.
Worth all the hype, it reminds me a lot to indonesian food with all the grilled food and coconut milk based broth. It is worth the hype. We absolutely loved the food. The Bulalo was amazing. Tender meat and delicious soup. It's so good that we ordered another portion. Leimpo was amazing too. Not too keen on the grill fish which was mediocre. They did gave us a huge fish but we asked to exchange it for a smaller fish. I can't wait to return and try all their other dishes.

This place is a locals go to for cheap, quality, home made style excellent grilled food. The ambience is humble and the food is better than some of high end places in the city. The staff here are simple, friendly, accommodating and full of smiles. We ordered the grilled pork belly, shrimp with water spinach, grilled tilapia, Sayote, mongo stew and white rice. We loved everything about this experience and the staff. I wouldn't change a darn thing. We were given four big bowls of beefy broth which we destroyed. Look at our pics. Come early because this place gets packed. No wonder the world famous Mark Wiens, loved it so much. He knew what the locals did. There is nothing pretentious about this place. I'd love to come back here and try their other items like the grilled squid or the beef calderetta. Thank you staff at Aling Sosing for making our trip so memorable.

Still the best carinderia in Makati for me. Humble eatery with very attentive staff. A little bit on the pricey side for a carinderia tbh, but worth it (you get unli soup!). My favorite would have to be their liempo. I like their inihaw na tilapia as well. We missed out on kaldereta and nilagang baka though when we visited.
