I went there with my friend and i had very bad experience with kulcha and chutney, they are serving chutney like mixing red chilli powder and onion with water and chole taste was not good it seems like boiling chana and serve to the customer. They are using Amritsari kulcha as a name but they don’t know the actual taste of Amritsari kulcha. Totally disappointed

It’s like a food court where you’ll order and eat. There are many more places too. I ordered special aloo chur chur kulcha/ naan. It was good. They serve it along with chole and imli khatti chutney. Do try if you are in Chandigarh!!

Exceptionally good food but seating experience is ordinary. In summers, the the coolers & fans blow away the provided paper cutlery. Customers should be served with either plastic or steel utensils that don't blow away while they eat. It really hampered my experience as the paper containers flew away & even made people sitting adjacent to me wondering if i was deliberately doing it. This is something that can be easily worked on and addressed right away. I tried Onion as well as Mix Veg Kulcha. I liked the latter more as onion kulcha felt very basic compared to it.

Recently visited here for trying some kulchas. We tried the paneer garlic chur chur kulcha with lassi. The lassi was good and same for kulcha. Service js good, kind of them to keep a cooler in this scorching heat. Great initiative. Loved the experience.

Excellent service, very delicious kulcha, it is definitely worth the hype. I have been coming here since years and the taste has been same as always. The best point is the quality and taste of the kulcha, I will recommend aloo chur chur naan and lassi. I am in love with their service, always Mr.Vikas, and other staff help in enhancing the experience always.Their chole and chutney are outstanding. Anyone coming to chandigarh must visit this.

I recently visited Amritsari Kulcha, located behind the BP petrol pump in Sector 9, Chandigarh, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The quality of the kulcha served was far below expectations—arguably one of the poorest I’ve had in the tricity area. In fact, I’ve had much better taste and authenticity from local roadside vendors. This establishment claims to offer Punjabi cuisine, yet it seems to lack the cultural and culinary understanding required to deliver true Punjabi flavors. It is evident that there is no Punjabi representation in the kitchen or management, which reflects in the preparation and presentation of the food. In all sincerity, I would recommend others to explore alternative options, including trusted roadside stalls, for a more genuine Punjabi food experience.

Visited on 28.09.2025 with wife. Found running in Unhygienic conditions, parked vehicle. 5-6 blue plastic drums were lying besides dhaba for used plates etc, were full of bad smell. Shown to person managing counter. He agreed. Horrible!!!! Though food was tasty. They have another booth besides Ch Exp - making Chanas in big Kadae, which was very dirty from both outside/inside, place was being used as godown, totally filthy conditions, nobody wore gloves, apprehensions of customer may fell ill on consuming in such worst conditions, full encroachment in parking area giving very bad impression of much hyped concept of “City Beautiful” seems hands in glove. Authorities. Should conduct surprise checking, especially on Sunday & shoul stop bad practices. Bill was not given, evasion (though no clear proof) must be checked.

Sodhis Zaika is a good place for tasty and affordable street food in Chandigarh. The food quantity matches the price. We tried chole bhature, kadhi rice and tikkis. Everything tasted good. The green chutney was spicy and chatpati - we liked it a lot. The only problem is seating. There are only 1–2 small tables, so it’s hard to sit and eat peacefully.

Taste - 5/5 Portions - 5/5 Value for money - 5/5 (Rs. 70/- for one plate) The chole bathure served here are undoubtedly one of the best I have had in tricity. The bathuras are so soft & fluffy and yet surprisingly not very heavy. The chole are extremely delicious loaded with amazing Indian spicy flavours served with chatpata alloo and pickled green chillies. A true delight to indian pallete. Absolute "must have."

Sodhi's Zaika is a nice hangout place for kids, couples and everyone almost. I personally loved their chole-bature and Panipuri.. It was Yum. A small shop but many varieties are there, From kadhi chawal to bhelpuri to everything you are craving for. Must try. If you are goin there in car, usually hard to get parking infront of the shops, but once you get means, you can sit in your car and can order and eat in your car itself. Or otherwise there are seating places in front of the shop, you can sit there and enjoy your dishes. Do visit.

Best place for som Break fast and some snaks at Sec 46. Foods are fresh and tasty and prepared very well. Owner is so polite and helpful.

We tried the chhole bharure, they were really delicious and up to the mark, I could say , they were on of the best Chole bhature in Chandigarh, gave a try to their golgappas as well, they were just average.

Amazing place for takeaway and order but really they must think of dining. 4 star because sometime there food especially the pav bhaji is way more tangy then it should be. And they pav bhaji they serve is expensive if we compare with quality they provide. overall a good place to eat

Very very Bad experience. They provide already prepared food not fresh and food quality is very bad. I never suggest anyone to dine in this place who wants to dine with Katani name. I asked his owner that is this same branch of Katani 3b2 ? He tell lie that same branch. But this is not same branch. Totally tasteless and Bad quality food. Price is also very much high. Local dhaba can provide better quality in less price.

Hi Everyone, I visited this place last week for lunch. We ordered paneer lababdar with laccha parantha and sweet lassi. Everything was good. Lassi was served in a bottle. Service is good. Only thing is Bottled water was not of a known brand like bisleri or kinley. They accept card, online, cash payments. They have thali options too. Good place with medium budget. We ordered dal makhani ,paneer tikka butter masala and tandoori Rotis. I seriously loved the quantity and quality of food they provide. The dal was good but the paneer tikka butter masala was fabulous. This is a family friendly place where lots of pg students come. There cost is also economical.their stall is yet not that professional.

Had a hearty meal recently and here’s how it went …. The mutton curry was rich, flavorful, and packed with spices — quite satisfying in terms of taste. However, the quality of mutton pieces could have been better; some were a bit too bony and less meaty than expected. Tried the Rarha Chicken as well, but it didn’t quite hit the mark. The taste was decent, but definitely not in the league of the Butter Chicken from Old Pal Dhaba, which remains the gold standard for us. On the brighter side, the service was quick and courteous, and the ambience was comfortable and generally pleasant for a casual dine-in experience. Overall, a decent meal with room for improvement in meat cuts and preparation of certain dishes.

I liked the food a lot. While not the absolute best I've ever had, it was right up there. I ordered Amritsari Kulcha, Kadhai Paneer, Dal Makhani and a sweet lassi. Pro tip: when you get to the location, you'll see two Pal Dhabas, I didn't go to the one which is on the street, I went to the one which is further inside the parking area. See pictures. Food is not worth. It’s over hyped and not tasty at all. The mutton was uncooked and did not like at all. Would refrain from going there again. Service is also very slow and waiting is also there. Maybe the taste has diminished but the brand value is earning them new customers not returning ones.

Chandigarh is a heaven for nonveg lovers and this place is one of the reason that it is said like that. A very nice and cosy place with a dhaba vibes yet a fine dining kind of food. Service is fast and prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend everyone.

Taste - 4/5 Portions - 5/5 Value for money - 5/5 (Rs. 15/- per samosa) A small stall in sector 16 panchkula is famous all over for its amazing samosas and rightly so. I tried their samosa and it was deliciously huge. So crispy on the outside and generously filled with aalloo stuffing served with the khatti meethi chutney. Perfect "go to" for those evening samosa cravings without burning a hole in your pocket.

If you want authentic north Indian food in an affordable place this is the place for you. The place is a bit congested but it is worth going. The staff is good and the food is really good. Visited here for a Birthday party. Food was good but service is little slow. Staff was very polite and helpful. Sarson da sag was very tasty. At the exit point they have paan vendor. Good sweet paan. Clearly visible from the main road. Wheelchair accessible parking but entrance have some steps. It's good option in sector 16 Panchkula for small party with in budget.

I've had samosas from here for more than 12-15 years now but sadly the quality downgrades with each passing year. To start with the chutney was simply flavorless, colored water. The aloo samosa was extremely spicy whereas the paneer samosa was lil too bland for my liking. The peas were raw which totally added to my disappointment. Really miss those huge aloo samosas which were the size of an average hand, loaded with aloo paneer filling and lots of nuts. Green chutney wasn't available at the moment. Taste- 6/10 Value for money- 8/10 Cost for 2- 60 Rupees for 2. ⭐⭐⭐

Yesterday I was hungry and I had ordered chole bhature and kachori with aloo sabji. It was delivered to me within 15 minutes. The kachori size was big and was very delicious. Chole bhature were mouth watering and I recommend you all to go and try this tasty food once. everyone , who loves the different flavours. Neat and clean atmosphere and air-conditioned sitting area in the basement. A good place to go. The staff is also friendly and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's an utter disappointment, no way close to the cholle bhature which you get in Delhi, cholle were tasteless and seem to have been mixed in some masala whereas bhature were bit oily and not as fluffy and crisp as you get in Delhi, Secondly in Bedmi Poori and Aloo Subzi, though subzi was nice but Bedmi Poori was disaster, too kuch crisp and lacked the balance of real Bedmi Poori, didn't have the heart to try their third offering, Kachori with Subzi, my advice to the owner, please send your cooks back to Delhi to relearn the real recipe of Chana Bhatura and Bedmi Poori.

Good vegetarian food, quick service. Food: Chole Bhature The service was extremely quick for this one, like within 2 to 3 minutes. The taste is good, you can take extra chane if you want. Salad and achar mix adds The right sourness and spiciness to the flavor. We sat on ground floor with just fans in the heat, whereas the basement has an AC.

The food is good. But the seating outside is not practical in a lot of weather conditions. The other seating in the basement is bad. No ventilation, not very clean. Should be improved.

Place is for chola bhatura lovers, chola bhatura and lassi is must try. You can eat Kachori Sabji’s as well. The place was not that great hygiene, lots of flu were there in their basement but the service was really good. You should come here before 3 PM so that you find everything available

I ordered food from Swiggy. I have ordered many times from Katani Mohali, but today by mistake I ordered from Katani Sector 22. The food was pathetic. Daal was stale and smelling bad. Paneer dish was just gravy and hardly 4-5 small pieces of paneer. Same for Manchurian Dry as it had only 4 manchurian pieces. I advise nobody to order from here and also this should be removed from Swiggy / Zomato. Nobody picks the call at the restaurant to listen to your complaint. They are simply playing with people's health just to earn some extra money by providing stale food.

We ordered shahi paneer for food it was very bad food was stale and foaming so we threw the food we didn't expect such bad food from dhaba like katani sector 22 chandigarh and when we contacted them Tried to call then he didn't even pick up the phone

Worst place. No sense they have. We went inside to have food and we sat there and started looking for items in menu. The girl there is so rude , she went inside when she saw us deciding the menu and told her co-workers ‘ ab nhi karna aur’ and came back and said that ‘order nhi hoga kitchen close hai’. When we went inside sat and everything then the kitchen was not closed now out of nowhere kitchen is closed. What else? She walked away with her food afterwards. I men’s this is how you treat your customers. Either treat properly or just close your restaurant. Recommendation to others-0 absolutely 0

Amritsari Brothers Kulcha Hub, Sector 9, Behind Petrol Pump is a famous place for delicious and scrumptious Kulchas. Here you get many types of kulchas of cabbage, radish, onion, fenugreek or crushed etc. Once one eats the kulcha here, then he does not go anywhere else to eat kulcha. Kulcha with potato starts from 90, then kulcha is available in the range of 150 to 200. Along with tamarind chutney and chickpeas, a piece of butter is also served on top of the paratha, which doubles the taste of the paratha. That's why I personally recommend this Kulcha Hub.

Visited this place with my frnds.. 24 of them.. So they did seat us😂.. The food was quite good.. Only no dessert options.. Thats a downer.. But overall impression was okay. Also the kitchen has a see through door separating it from the tables so you can actually see how they cook.

It is a small dhaba sort of joint in Sector 32 market. Although it has limited seating but the staff is very efficient and helpful and you will find a place to sit. The food is good and seems to be made in hygienic condition. I would say a good place to eat Indian food at reasonable rate. Allthough it is a dhaba they do apply tax so keep that in mind.

Out of all the restaurants present in the area this one stands out in the term of service, quality,price and ambiance. You can always see your food getting freshly cooked through the transparent wall between the kitchen area.The place is almost always filled with swarm of people and the tight sitting space makes it difficult to find any empty table .the service speed could be improved but seeing how full they are with orders this shortcoming is admissible . try their kadai paneer, chesse chilly, chana masala for best experinace .

I went there couple days ago and forgot my wallet behind and realized it once I got home! I was so worried, came back and spoke to the manager, he asked me couple questions just to verify the wallet was mine! I had my gold chain in there as well as some important and valuable documents.
