Resort hotel
Pier House Resort & Spa, originally a small 50-room motel built in 1967, has evolved into one of Key West's most prestigious resorts. It boasts a prime location near major attractions and offers 119 guest rooms and 23 suites with large tiled bathrooms, rain-style showers, custom furniture, and local art. The resort provides a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury with its private beach, heated outdoor pool, full-service spa, and multiple dining options.
Highly recommend staying here!! Everything was awesome, the views, service, staff friendliness. Great little beach spot and you can't find a better place to catch the sunset, much better that sunset pier or Mallory square. It's in a great part of town and within walking distance to a lot of different attractions and restaurants. Rooms were a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. It was quite our entire stay and always felt safe. A nice bar by the beach and pool to get a drink or bite to eat. Most definitely recommend if looking for a place to stay!!

Best location when in Key West! You can walk everywhere and retreat to a quiet place that feels away from the hustle. The rooms are clean with robes and slippers that make you feel like you’re at a luxury destination. We had an issue with our keys, but the hotel manager solved the issue right away and compensated us for our trouble. The beach is small but nice, with all the amenities of a big resort. I would definitely stay here again.

⭐ 2/5 We chose Pier House for our 15th wedding anniversary, as we normally stay in Key West twice a year at The Marker and wanted to try something different. After this experience, we will be returning directly to The Marker. Check-in was smooth, and the room was adequate, though it could use updates. The front driveway constantly floods, requiring guests to walk through water that smells strongly of sewer. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a $500 smoking violation charge. No one in our party smokes, and I have a respiratory condition that prohibits exposure to smoke or strong odors. The front desk communicated with me several times via text throughout our stay and never mentioned any issue. I was asked on Friday night to text them my email address the next morning once we had left our room for "express checkout". So once we had left the hotel and was heading to the airport, I texted them and minutes later I received an itemized receipt including this charge, with no explanation. Had I not carefully reviewed it, I would never have known. The hotel cited a FreshAir sensor alert, but it’s puzzling that it was triggered only once. It seems highly unlikely that someone would smoke just once in a room they stayed in for six days. Environmental factors can sometimes trigger these detectors. Attempts to resolve this with the property went nowhere. While the property is in a nice location and the staff were polite, the way this charge was applied and handled raises serious concerns about transparency and fairness. It’s not worth the risk, stay elsewhere.

Pier House Resort & Spa - A Perfect Key West Sanctuary! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful stay! We loved our serene ocean view room 🌊. The full body massage at the spa was divine 💆‍♀️. Dinner at the on-site One Duval restaurant featured amazing seafood 🦞. Exceptional service throughout. This is the perfect peaceful escape from the busy Duval Street. Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked our stay at Pier House as an emergency beach vacation to destress. Pier House was perfect for this. Within the walls of the resort you would never know that the activity in the tourist area is there. It is very quiet and peaceful with lush greenery and water features surrounding the pathways, pool and private beach. We upgraded our room from a standard king to an ocean front dockside room. We have no regrets at all! We were lucky enough to get the corner room so we had views of the ocean and the beach. Despite the close proximity to the beach and restaurant, our room was very quiet. We couldn't hear any noise from neighbors or outdoors. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The beach and pools had plenty of loungers and umbrellas and were also kept clean. There was only one day that the beach seemed overly crowded but I suspect that this was due to guests checking in and out crossing paths because the next day it was back to normal. We were surprised by how good the food was at the resort. We aren't really breakfast people but the cappuccinos were nice. We ate lunch at the beach bar each day and never grew tired of the parmesan fries or the berry, nut and goat cheese salad. We only ate at One Duval one evening but that experience was pleasant and I was happy to find several vegetarian options. The staff is actually what really made our trip amazing, not just great. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and kind. We always had a drink in our hands when we wanted one at the beach or pool (Linda and Nick are the best!) and the women at the front desk were helpful with making restaurant recommendations and providing directions so that we could enjoy quieter walks and avoid the action on Duval. The servers at the beach and pool work sunrise to sunset it seems and they hustle but with a smile on their face! I didn't see or overhear any negative interactions. I had some questions about my invoice at checkout and Chuck, the manager, called me after I returned home to graciously explain the details (the misunderstanding was completely on my end). The people alone are enough to bring us back. We felt welcomed, comfortable, and safe throughout our stay. I am usually a fairly tough critic but I cannot think of anything that I would improve or change about our stay. I look forward to returning when we need another emergency beach vacation!

A Beautiful experience! This place is more than amazing. It’s private, quiet, relaxing & the staff is friendly! The landscaping🌴 is like walking through an enchanted forest! It has mini waterfalls & ponds with turtles🐢 & goldfish🐡! Watch out👀…chickens🐓🐓 are walking around freely. They don’t bother you at all. This property has its very own private beach 🏖️ with hammocks for lounging. It’s a bar🍹 by the pool so convenient! The food is tasty! The spa 🧖🏽‍♀️is TOP tier! I got a facial that knocked a few wrinkles out!! We rented a chart to drive around the island. You really don’t need to leave for anything. I would definitely return!!🎉❤️🌴

My husband and I stayed at the Pier House for our anniversary and it was the best vacation we have had in years! Every step was perfect! From check in, drinks by the pool or the private beach, dinner at One Duval and our spa treatments with Mike and Courtney! I would highly recommend staying here for everything that the hotel provides as well as the location. This will be the only place I will stay when I visit from now on!

We just returned from a 5-day stay celebrating our 20th anniversary, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The staff was incredibly attentive throughout our visit, and a special shout-out goes to Tequila when we checked in and Stephen who assisted us with our luggage. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. One of the standout features is the small beach area they’ve created which is perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand while floating in the water. It felt like our own little paradise, and we even had the joy of seeing a manatee swim by almost every day! Snorkeling right from the property was another huge plus, especially since we didn’t have to book an extra charter boat to enjoy it. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. This place absolutely deserves 5 stars, and we’re so grateful to the team for making our milestone celebration so special.

The Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa is an upscale beachfront resort that offers seafood dining, a spa, and an outdoor pool. Situated between Mallory Square and the Southernmost Point buoy, this 120-room hotel provides easy access to major attractions while offering conventional resort amenities. Guests can enjoy a man-made beach, pool, restaurants, bars, and beautiful views of the Gulf.
This is my favorite place to stay when visiting Key West. They have everything you could ask for from comfortable rooms, an on-site restaurant, an outdoor bar and grill, a spa for when you need a little help relaxing, a fitness center, jet skis, golf carts, bicycles, a pool and hot tub,and direct access to the ocean water. The bar staff at Blue Mojito Bar & Grill couldn't have been better! TJ was fantastic, he really took care of us throughout our stay. Natalia, Chika, and Raj were so great as well. We really felt comfortable there.

Agree with the overall ratings online for the Hyatt Centric, Key West. Nice hotel with nice rooms, overall good accommodations. Staff were very friendly, helpful, provided prompt service. Nice pool area, with a bar next-door serving decent food. There are a few small pools where they keep rescued freshwater turtles, which are fun to feed! Location right next to the marina is very good, and allows easy access throughout Key West on foot. We enjoyed our stay there, and would go back!
Jim N — Google review
Excellent accommodations. The rooms are modern and clean. The pool is first rate and the turtle sanctuary on site is a nice touch. Highly recommend this side of the island. Plenty of great restaurants in walking distance with harbor views.
Ch S — Google review
A neat and comfortable resort located on Front Street right in the heart of Key West within walking distance from all amenities. The rooms were clean and adequate and there is a pool on site. There is also a well stocked gym for those looking to do some exercise. Water is provided in aluminium bottles and they have refilling stations. They have rescued turtles on the resort for interest and amusement. Only down point is that they do not offer any vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. They champion a top class chef so they could at least cater for those with restricted diets. This was a theme throughout Key West.
Alan S — Google review
The hotel needs a complete makeover. Was like walking into a 1980’s island hotel from the lobby through the grounds to our room. Thankfully the room was clean. What we stayed in for the outrageous price we paid was absolutely ludicrous! Plus it was right next to a public beach where the homeless slept….definitely not ever going back to that hotel. The two positives- staff was very friendly and it was very convenient to town. But would not recommend at all.
Brenda B — Google review
The room was good, gave old studio vibe. Location is great. They have rescued turtles all over the deck area. Love the hammocks everywhere. At the hotel restaurant we sat at the bar for a late night drink and dessert and Valie and Ana were great. Thank you!
Katrina K — Google review
Wonderful place located right at the end of the strip. Quiet and relaxing vibes. We rented a scooter on site and also took a guided jet ski tour on site. The turtles and parrot were a joy to see each day. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. They were able to get us in a room earlier then expected as our flight landed at 9am. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Came down for Fantasy Fest and had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric. The location can't be beat and I love that they have a turtle sanctuary on property. That being said, the property does have some wear and tear and could use some uplifting. This is definitely a Category 8 just because of the location. Overall it was a lovely stay and will be definitely coming back next time I'm in the Keys.

Southernmost Beach Resort is a colonial-style retreat located in Key West, just a short distance from the southernmost point of the continental US. The resort spans over 6.5 acres and features eight pastel-blue low-rise buildings with a total of 244 refined rooms, as well as four guest houses named Avalon, La Mer, Duval Gardens, and Dewey Houses offering 52 rooms. The property underwent renovations in recent years to update the Victorian-style interiors and add modern design touches.
We just returned from a fantastic stay at the Southernmost Beach Resort! The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Key West, but still peaceful and relaxing. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and had all the touches that made our stay special. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the whole property felt like a true getaway. A special shout-out to Casey, the activities coordinator—she was fun, knowledgeable, and gave us great recommendations for hot spots and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Our room was terrible, sadly. It had a terrible musty smell that we reported twice. They never offered to move us, just sent maintenance to spray a deodorizer that didn't help at all. The AC unit in our room was malfunctioing and made a terrible "clicking" noise multiple times in a row, every 20 to 25 minutes that woke us up multiple times a night. The fabric covered headboard had gross stains all over it and we found ants and other crawling bugs in our room every day. Our room was also directly across from the ice machine that ran a drain cycle every so often and was so loud, it sounded like someone was showering in our bathroom- also waking us up multiple times. The hotel is located at the very end of Duval Street, but not the lively part, so if you are seeking a quieter location, this would be it. The more active bars are at least a 15 to 20 minute walk down Duval. They have two pools with bars where we had great service and drinks. Don't count on entertainment- the regge band packed up 30 minutes after starting because of rain, despite the rain stopping 15 minutes later, and they were scheduled to play for a few hours. We learned that the newer rooms were on the beach side and our friends didn't have the issues with their room we had. So, if you ensure you are in the newer buildings you may have a better experience. For the price, there are better options on the island from our discovery. We wouldn't recommend this resort unless you could guarantee being in a new room that seemed to be better maintained/cleaner.

We (Mum, Dad, 2 kids aged 9 and 11) spent a night staying at this hotel in October 2025. Good things about this hotel: -Good facilities - games, pools, etc although unfortunately kids are not permitted in the coffee bar. - Location of buildings on the southern side of the hotel is wonderful - right next to the beach and the iconic southernmost marker in Key West. This means you can have breakfast on the beach or sundowners at the pool (which is adjacent to the beach) and easily move between the two. - Plenty availability of towels - Lots of parking - Friendly and good service -Quiet by Key West standards, despite the central location Bad things about this hotel: - The hotel complex is very large and spans across many separate buildings. There is even a public road (with traffic) bisecting the hotel complex which is not ideal if with kids. - Hotel is EXTREMELY over-priced. We are from the UK (where hotels aren't cheap) and road-tripped around Florida Keys getting a good idea of the costs of hotels. Our 1-night stay cost $690 (beware all the hidden charges at US hotels - sales tax, occupancy tax, parking charges + taxes, ridiculous resort fees + taxes etc). The room was basic (two queen beds, no sea view) with a parking lot in front of it (more like a motel than a luxury hotel). -The breakfast food is quite good but they can only serve American filter coffee so capuccinos / espressos / lattes etc are not available for breakfast which was really quite poor. In summary, if budget was unlimited, I would stay here again, but based on poor value-for-money, if I return to Key West, I will probably stay somewhere else.

Nice pools and location. Plenty of outdoor bars. Employees are nice. Popular place. Love the outdoor hammocks. Cool architecture and rooms are accommodating. A/C didn't work in our room and they happily moved us. Will return.

This was our second time staying here and it has been great both times. We stayed in the ocean front rooms so our balcony view was unbeatable. Easy access to multiple pools, beach (underwhelming, but still a beach), and Duvall street. Its on the quiet side of Duvall street, so it's a little more peaceful with only a short walk to the mayhem. We stayed in October so the temperature was warm (~90°), but not horrible.
Kyle W — Google review
Let me start by saying I almost cancelled my reservation due to the reviews I was reading BUT I'm so happy I didn't. This resort is beautiful, our room was spacious and had a great view of the ocean. While yes, it was disappointing the beach was unusable, I realize the seaweed is a seasonal thing that is out of their control. The pools are nice at while at times busy, we always found chairs and never felt crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. We ate at the cafe twice, dinner & breakfast and the food was very good. If you want to see the Southernmost Buoy, I suggest going in the morning, we were there at 8 and we were the only ones there. Also, the roosters are fun to watch and I was never bothered by their singing :)
KATHY A — Google review
Please don’t waste your money on this glorified motel. It is not a 4 star hotel as stated and is completely overpriced. My husband and I are frequent travelers and have traveled to places all over the world and have never had such a disappointing experience. We stayed at this dump last year and fell for the immediate upselling, money grabbing scheme that you are hit with while checking in. After paying an extra $100 per night, we are supposed to feel honored and privileged to stay in the room that we initially booked. After speaking with other guest, if you don’t fall for this scam, you will be tucked away in a mold, roach and ant infested, undesirable cell like room only to be told there are no other options. We certainly did not want to be punished in that manor, so we bit the bullet and payed the extra money. We ended up having a great stay last year. Upon check out, we were hit with yet another money grab tactic. We were asked if we wanted to make a $500 deposit, to guarantee the same rate next year. After hearing more horror stories from other guest, I asked the salesman, if we made the deposit could we be guaranteed to also stay in the same room? With no hesitation at all, she answered yes and stated she would temporarily block the room off for the same dates as our previous stay and asked us to call a month before to confirm the reservation, in which we did and also confirmed that the room we requested was available and would be blocked off for our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the most unprofessional, rude and argumentative lady I have ever met in my entire life, Ann Marie. I have no idea why anyone would think someone with such a horrible disposition, would be considered to be the face of their establishment. I took the time to read other reviews and her name was mentioned several times as being problematic. First impressions are everything! We have never been yelled at and berated this way by another human being in our lives. Every time I would try to explain to her and show proof of our previous discussions, she would talk over me and totally dismiss our request. After an exhausting, embarrassing and unproductive battle, I guess Ann Marie won. We were stuck in one of the janky mold, roach and ant infested rooms with no balcony and a phantom fan that comes on with the light randomly in the middle of the night. After speaking with another worker at the hotel, the room we requested is one they use for upselling. If asked we would have paid extra as well, to avoid the tiny, disgusting room we were forced to take. Like many other people mentioned in their reviews, we and our group of 4 other couples that come here every year, will be planning our next stay at the Hilton as well.

Margaritaville Beach House Key West, opened in November 2021, embodies the laid-back island vibe of Key West. The Jimmy Buffett-themed property offers airy suites with island decor and colors, promoting a relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind on 'island time.' Activities range from family-friendly fun like fireside s'mores and swimming to adult-oriented rum-tasting experiences.
From start to finish, our experience here was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, pool area is great, rooms are simple but have everything you would need. The restaurant on site had great food, we had breakfast there and it was really good. Chris at the front desk was so kind and accommodating, he made us feel like we were at home. Additionally, this hotel had great perks and deals. We were able to get $25 of resort credit and two free cocktails. They also provide welcome margaritas at check in. As far as location goes, the beach is walking distance from the hotel, it is so close. They have excursions you can do right there as well. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes from downtown, but there is a free shuttle that goes back and forth every hour until 11:30 at night. The airport shuttle is on demand, we were only waiting at the airport for maybe five minutes before someone came to pick us up (and this is also included in the resort fee). All of the staff were so kind. John, the shuttle driver made us laugh so much, he gave us recommendations on the best bars and restaurants. We will be sure to come back again, hopefully soon! Thanks for making our key west experience so great!

Could Be a Great Resort But Too Many Issues to Overlook. This place could be amazing. The location is beautiful, and housekeeping was actually wonderful when they showed up & kind, attentive, and hard-working. But unfortunately, my experience was filled with one issue after another. I spent more time reporting problems than relaxing. From trash left around the property, to dirty pools, to iguana droppings left uncleaned basic maintenance was clearly not a priority. I tried to make the best of it for my kids and grandkids. The worst part? I had to call at 5AM for roach control. There were also ants in the room, and the response only came after multiple complaints. They charge $50 per person, per day in resort fees, plus an extra $300 in mystery charges, and the only real amenity was a shuttle. For the price, I expected a true resort experience not a battle to get basic standards met. And charging what they charge for food had everyone ordering door dash. The property has potential. But no guest should have to spend their vacation in constant back-and-forth with the front desk just to feel heard.

When we first came into the room we noticed a strong bug killer smell, but then it went away. The room had a King size bed that almost filled the room. It had a nice terrace overlooking the pool. It had a microwave and a nice sized empty refrigerator. It had a big TV. We staid for two nights and they never made up the room. The pool was nice although a little crowded. They have a shuttle every half hour to downtown and also to the nearby airport. The beach is nice, with a few palm trees and shallow water, just across the road. You can bring towels from the hotel, but you need to rent chairs and an umbrella if you want.

My family was so excited for this trip. First time in forever we took a real family vacation. Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted by a very nice woman who checked us in to our room quickly and offered us a welcome beverage. The first night we were in a two bedroom suite. We were supposed to have a “resort view” but unfortunately we had a parking lot view. The room was clean and had ample towels. The AC however left something o be desired at night. It was so hot in the room. The second night we moved to a different room as pre-planned. We had a king size bed. The fridge didn’t cool our drinks very well but the microwave worked. We again had ample towels but the same issue with the AC. We also had dead roaches on the floor. I get it. I’m a Floridian but unfortunately that and my dirty feet let me know that the floors had not been cleaned. I wish I had great things to say about the rest of the staff we encountered but most seemed to be disturbed by our presence and asking questions was disturbing to them. Yesterday morning we decided to have breakfast on the deck of the restaurant. The Hostess, maybe 5 feet from me during breakfast, was talking to the outside bartender about how all Americans were spoiled and did not have a good work ethic, that Americans were lazy. Being that I’m an American, that conversation would have been better left for different company. I had hoped that this would be a place we would return year after year but unfortunately we will most likely seek other lodging on future trips.

Beautiful and clean place to stay for vacation. Staff is very friendly. The pool is amazing, especially for kids. The hotel provides inflatables to relax at the pool. Special thanks to the front desk manager Haytham for his professionalism, kindness and attention to the hotel guests! Will come again!

This place is conveniently located about 5 min from the air port. The beach is across the street. We had easy free parking. The hotel has a shuttle which we did not realize until after getting a rental. I would highly consider using the shuttle in the future parking is expensive when you leave the hotel. You pay about $15 for 2 hours everywhere you park. 😣. We had a great stay. The hotel was clean. The place was quiet. The only negative is the bed is hard. But I am a soft bed person. My husband loved the bed. It’s in a safe location.

Margaritaville Key West is a beautiful place but a major disappointment from service to menu selection to taste of food. I’ve enjoyed the food and service over the past 20 years at other Margaritaville restaurants, i.e. Ocho Rios and Montego Bay Jamaica as well as Grand Cayman. The bar and restaurant staff was slow and inattentive although very polite and hospitable. I ordered the skirt steak which had absolutely no seasoning not even salt or pepper, the calamari had too much batter, the smoked fish dip had too much mayo and little smoked fish (try Golden Rule’s smoked fish dip-perfection). The grilled grouper had no seasoning just grouper thrown on a grill and served with hardy vegetables. The shrimp appetizer was over cooked and tough. I tried to find something that was redeeming but there needs to be a change in the menu and chef otherwise I suggest that you eat elsewhere. Too much money for absolutely unpalatable meals. The bar staff was inattentive and slow with service same with the waiters at the restaurant.

Let me start by saying that the property was nice. We had a one-room studio with plenty of space for four of us (two adults and two children). The room had a large Jack-and-Jill bathroom and was clean and well-stocked upon our arrival. However, the staff and service fell short of expectations. We often had to request room service, and the instructions provided for these services, such as perks, require improvement. We brought our bikes with us, and I called ahead to check if they offered bike racks. Unfortunately, there were issues with the staff's scooters and some retail items that almost blocked the bike rack located in the back section. Would we stay here again? Perhaps, due to the nice property, but with some improvements in service, it could be much better.

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Stay! Our experience at Sunset Cottage in Key West was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and true hospitality. The service was excellent—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The cottage itself is charming, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that instantly felt like home. The location is ideal—close enough to enjoy all the excitement of Key West but tucked away enough to relax in peace. One of our favorite moments was watching the breathtaking sunsets right from the property—absolutely unforgettable! We can’t recommend Sunset Cottage highly enough. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat, this is the perfect spot. We’ll definitely be back! 🌅✨ ⸻Martha Sanders

It's hard to put into words the feeling of excitement you have arriving and the feeling of sorrow when you have to say goodbye. We stayed in Monet cottage and it was perfect. It was a beautiful location. It gave off vibes of being in Hawaii completely different than the vibe in Key West. Key West is very tourist oriented and there was a cruise ship in port every day. Masses of people and hard to escape them. We were so happy we chose to stay at Sunset Key and not on Key West. We enjoyed day trips over to take tours, but enjoyed even more returning to our Sunset Key cottage and amenities. We had every need met and those we didn't know we had. The morning basket of goodies was perfect to start the day. The afternoon ice cream available by ice cream cart and finally the evening turn down service with water and sweet treat was added services that we never expected. Latitude's offered many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything was fabulous. If you are looking for a special place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, engagement, honeymoon, etc. This is the place. Heck, even if you have nothing to celebrate you deserve the pampering.

Another fabulous day at Sunset Key Cottages! Beautiful property located on a secluded island offering a large, peaceful beach area. Caesar is the best when it comes to drinks by the beach, towel service and even bringing over a raft to float on. I can’t say enough about the food, which is consistently delicious. Our server Eva was fantastic. The pool is stunning and Thomas the pool bartender is the best. He is so kind and his drinks are the best- try the Key Lime Colada with a graham cracker rim! We love our time at Sunset Key and thank you to Chris who runs everything so well- you won’t find a better property or better service anywhere else. Well done, Chris!

Our stay at Sunset Key Cottages was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel right at home. The cottages were impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location is a dream—peaceful, picturesque, and just steps from the water. Every detail, from the exceptional service to the stunning views, was flawless. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Our stay at Sunset Key Cottages in Key West was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional care and hospitality that elevated the entire experience. A special shoutout goes to Leah, who went above and beyond in making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made us feel right at home and truly valued as guests. We also had an unforgettable dinner at Latitudes, where Eduardo, our server, provided one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. He was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly thoughtful and personable. His service made our evening feel incredibly special, and the attention to detail was simply top-tier. The combination of breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and the incredible staff made this trip one to remember. Sunset Key Cottages is a true gem, and we’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, relaxing, and deeply personalized escape in Key West!

Amazing experience!!! This property is where we will be same time next year with more family. The times if the ferries back to the mainland are a minor inconvenience compared to the tranquility of the island. Matty at the bar was a very professional and gracious host. Paige at check in was amazing and the staff regarding check on and check out were very nice. I look forward to next year.

This is not a family resort in our opinion. For the price you can take your family somewhere else. They have a small pool. The little private beach they have has rocks and seaweed. Careful when closing the doors in the cottages. The door jams are positioned weird. You can easily jam your hand/fingers when closing the doors. The private beach doesn't look like the pictures on their website. Overall they only have the small pool and the small private beach.

I checked in late after a long flight and everything nearby was already closed. When I asked the front desk if there was anywhere to grab a quick bite, instead of just saying no, this gentleman went above and beyond, he said, “Give me a few minutes, I’ll make you a turkey sandwich.” That kind of kindness and initiative is rare these days. It truly made my night and left a great impression of the hotel. Big thanks to him for showing what genuine hospitality looks like! 👏

Ibis Bay Beach Resort is a charming beachfront property in Key West, offering casual rooms with garden views and hammocks. The resort boasts a private beach, a pool with bar service, and is conveniently located just nine minutes from Key West International Airport. Families, couples, and nature enthusiasts have been drawn to this resort for nearly 70 years. With its shallow waters ideal for snorkeling excursions and various water sports equipment available for rent, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Was our First trip to Key West and I would pick this place for every trip ! The vibes, the staff and the resort are amazing ! The Fun Desk staff and guides are awesome they made our tours unforgettable! I wish I caught their names but there were few staff members that really made the resort feel welcoming and just flat out Fun. Thank you all and we will Definitely see you again! Paulette Ribbing

Worst experience at Ibis Bay Beach Resort I honestly didn’t like this place at all. The bathroom was so tiny I could barely move in the shower, and there was no hot water — the water came out like light rain drops. When I asked to change to a room with a bigger shower, they wanted an extra $50. I agreed, but that room smelled so bad I couldn’t even stay there for a minute. The blinds gave no privacy, and there’s no elevator, which made carrying luggage very hard. The rooms are small, uncomfortable, and look nothing like the pictures online. Totally not worth the money or the stress — I’ll never come back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Dharani D — Google review
Location was absolutely perfect! We loved that we were able to rent bikes and go around town. Checking in was smooth - however the man working the front desk was extremely passive aggressive. The room had ants and the shower was dirty. The room also had carpet which was inconvenient when coming back from the beach all sandy. I also don’t understand what the resort fee was for???? And no one could explain to me what the fee was for. Probably wouldn’t come back.

It’s a very nice hotel, especially for families with children. The place looks great; it’s located close to a road, but that didn’t bother us. The pool is really fun, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A small piece of advice for the hotel: pay a bit more attention to the small details; it could be just a little tidier. The atmosphere is excellent, and it feels great to return to the resort after a busy day. The restaurant prices are on the higher side, it’s not the most affordable option, but the quality of the food is excellent!

Celebrated my 3 year anniversary at this resort and had the best time. We rented bikes here which was only $18 for 24 hours. There is a private beach, turtles, parrots, a really nice pool. The restaurant stoned crab was really good, and if you stay here you can get free fish dip from the restaurant when you get two entrees. I recommend the lobster mac and cheese. You can also do shark feeding. The free breakfast was also really good here!

Absolutely do not trust what they tell you. I was looking at Ibis Bay Resort through Capital One Travel in August for a trip in October. I called the hotel directly to inquire about shuttle service to downtown Key West. I was assured that they have regular shuttle service included to downtown. Imagine my surprise when checking in and I asked when their shuttle service was, I was told that they had cancelled it a year ago. I cancelled the reservation and was told there would be full refund. Then when I go through Capital One Travel to process the refund, they tell me that Ibis Bay was not doing the full refund. Absolutely unacceptable. They lied to me twice, once about the shuttle service, then again about the full refund. Do not stay here at all.

When you arrive to check in, you will charged a resort fee. The floors were slick when we walked in as if there was oil on the floor. The room had mold and smelled like mildew. After the first night we started feeling sick. After we left we started to feel better. We believe this was from the mold after we researched. The staff aren’t friendly or inviting. We were not compensated when we brought the issues to their attention. In the early morning hours we could hear staff walking around in what I assume was an attic storage area over our room. Booking.com was no help either when we brought this to their attention. I would rather use Expedia from now on.

Yes the rooms where small but it is a key west small quaint resort. So much attractions for kids and beautiful location. The building is typical old keys building not much insulation I felt bad for the AC running all the time yet it would get hot in heartbeat their electric bill should be very high. We eat at the restaurant good food reasonable prices, they have twice a day shark feeding so attractive for kids. Not far from Duval street we drove down but there's users and lyft all the time. They even had golf cart rentals, evening kayak tours and much more. Will definitely book again when I visit key west.

Nestled along the Gulf of Mexico, Parrot Key Hotel & Villas offers a charming old-fashioned beach community vibe with its rocking-chair porches and picket fences. The property features lush landscaping, multiple secluded swimming pools surrounded by gardens, white-sand sunbathing terraces, and stunning waterfront views. Guests can enjoy watersports on-site or take advantage of nearby kayaking.
We stayed at Parrot Key Hotel September 15-19th and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! The pools were absolutely beautiful, clean, well kept, and so quiet! The poolside restaurant and bar was so convenient while staying at the hotel. The drink and food prices were a bit high (but is expected at a hotel/resort). The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, right across the street from a shopping center with everything you need and beautiful water views, and only a short drive to old town Key West! We will definitely be staying here again!
Pbnank01 — Google review
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for peace, value, or comfort. The room and terrace were constantly noisy due to loud poolside music starting at 07:30 and continuing for around 14 hours — every single day with the same playlist. Plus you have an air con unit next to you belting out hot air and a loud fan noise. It was relentless! Transport was another letdown. We weren’t informed that the shuttle bus needed to be booked in advance, and it only runs a few times a day — not in the evenings when you'd actually want to use it. This made getting around quite expensive with Ubers and the hotel location being out of town. The hotel itself feels tired and in need of a refresh — a good clean and a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. Meals are served on plastic plates and drinks in plastic cups, which really cheapens the experience. There’s no indoor bar open late, which limits evening options. To top it off, the $30 daily parking fee is excessive and adds to the overall poor value for money. Disappointing stay.

We loved our stay at Parrot Key Resort! The property is gorgeous with lush landscaping, peaceful pools, and clean, comfortable rooms that made it easy to relax. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Manager Ashley, who helped us quickly resolve a problem with genuine care and professionalism—she turned a potential headache into a great experience. Between the beautiful setting and outstanding service, Parrot Key is an easy 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful. Clean. Deluxe. Everyone from the front desk to the valet and mangle were exceptional. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the AC was not working but it wasn’t hot in the room because of the fans in the ceiling. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

After a two-and-a-half-week road trip through South Florida, Parrot Key was our second-to-last stop for one night. Looking for relaxation? Then this is not your hotel. Party music early in the morning by the pool, gardening work at 6 a.m., and very noisy rooms (we could hear the footsteps of the people below us). Looking for decent rooms? Then this hotel, or apartment 55B, is not for you. The carpet in front of the fridge was soaked, the living room carpet was disgustingly sticky in one spot, the furniture and walls were worn out, light switches didn’t work, and bulbs in the bathroom were defective. The location is in a commercial area. Without a car it will likely be expensive or exhausting to get to the tourist spots. The valet parking is basically a joke, since the parking spaces are right next to the hotel. For the price, we expected more and were glad we had only booked for one night.

Cute little place, 3 pools. If you stay anywhere other than the 1st floor, you have to go up steps. They give you a glass of champagne when arriving. It is about a mile from Duvall Street and they offer a shuttle that's free but only at certain times

Booked a room here and got a confirmation number only to drive 4 hours and for them to tell me the card declined and they tried to call me. I checked my phone and had no missed calls. The room then cost almost double the $299 plus tax confirmed with my confirmation number. I used to stay here a lot and book all my employees rooms here. Won’t be back. See photos for proof

Parrot Key is great if you have lots of money to spend and don't care about value. To summarize my review: book a fancy king guestroom with a water view or don't book at all. My partner and I were mistakenly assigned a one bedroom unit with two queen beds at first, rather than the one king bed that we booked. This gave us the chance to see the basic furnishings and groddy bathroom (that others have noted in their reviews) up close. Later in our stay, we heard other guests complaining about cleanliness as well. I could not imagine paying over $300 a night (including all fees) in the off-season for this room. The front desk very kindly reassigned our room and actually upgraded us to the 2 king room referenced above. The cleanliness and quality of this unit was top notch-- I felt like I was at a different resort, and we had a great stay. My second caution to readers is that the resort fee is high (~$57/day) and we got nothing out of it, other than: a small shuttle that runs infrequently, a beach that you can't swim in (gross water), and comp drinks by the pool that you can only claim with a voucher from the front desk (not mentioned until checkout). The food and drinks served by the hotel bar/restaurant were great, as was the service, but more expensive than some of the nicer restaurants in town. To end this review on a positive note, Steve the Concierge was the only employee we interacted with that seemed to enjoy his job. He was a pleasure to talk to and he set us up with an in-house golf cart rental which was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks Steve!

The Reach Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton is a luxurious 4-star resort located at the serene southern end of Duval Street. It offers a refined stay with top-notch amenities including an oceanfront pool, private beach, and a seafood restaurant. The hotel features spacious rooms with private balconies, Wi-Fi, Nespresso coffee machines, and iPod docking stations.
We stayed at The Reach Hotel Key West for 5 nights, booking two rooms, and had a fantastic experience overall. The resort’s location was perfect for our beach-focused vacation, and the beach itself was a highlight, never disappointing. The pool area was decent, with attentive staff frequently offering beverage service. The bar staff was exceptional, making excellent drinks that added to our enjoyment. However, the pricing for food and drinks at the resort felt a bit steep, so we often dined elsewhere. Our fifth-floor rooms were spacious with high ceilings and offered access to a wonderful lookout area with stunning views of Key West, especially at sunset—a real bonus! We did encounter a couple of issues: the air conditioning in our rooms occasionally shut off, and the safe was non-functional. I mentioned this to the front desk, and they promptly offered to send someone to fix it. Since we were eager to explore Key West, I chose to manage by ensuring the AC was on manually, which worked fine. The front desk staff was outstanding throughout our stay, always courteous and helpful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Reach and would definitely return!

The Reach property was beautiful right on the beach. The valet, front desk and concierge were amazing and extremely helpful. Restaurant was decent. The balcony in our room overlooking the ocean was amazing. Housekeeping was terrible! They came 3 out of the 5 days we were there. We had to call and have them come clean the room after 5pm after being gone all day. We had a premium room with premium lodging costs the floors were never cleaned, the glass shower door had been broken and not fixed, they put up a shower curtain and the umbrella on balcony looked like it had been through a few hurricanes! Hilton definitely needs to update the rooms in this property!
Karma A — Google review
Prior to booking I saw mixed reviews from hospitality, service and rooms. From my personal experience this weekend everything was exceptional. From arriving to the hotel and first interactions with the valet to checking in to our room with Foster who was amazing. Our time by the pool and beach were superb and Stephanie had an amazing personality and hospitality every time. The chairs and umbrellas by the beach are included along with towels. Servers walk the pool and beach regularly to take orders of food or drinks. I had ordered a romantic package for the room and it did not disappoint. The resort fees were adequate for amenities. The valet parking is the only means of parking, but is $50 a day which is a little pricey imo, but I also am a local from Tampa where I find free beach parking. Everyone at FD was very nice when we interacted with them and 2 guys in valet were superb. Highly recommend and hopefully the experience we received remains consistent for everyone else visiting!

the worst stay ever !!! We ended up leaving early. Fist we get there and check into our room (at 430 pm so 30 minutes after scheduled check in time ) We get to our room and it is not ready, 5 minutes after getting in, maid service is knocking and asking to come in to finish cleaning our bathroom. Then the room itself, we paid for king ocean view , IT WAS NOT OCEAN VIEW (see pictures) . They showed an incorrect photo on the website. We were in the courtyard , we tried to have our room switched to the correct view (given we paid extra money for ocean view), to be comped for the difference in price (which was around 100 a night ) or if we could be switched to the sister hotel casa marina. The answer was no to all of the above. We ended up staying in the same room for 3 days, maid service / turn downs daily never came ! We had no towels, no toilet paper . We had to call them multiple times as well as text the front desk , telling them this and giving them times they can come up and clean (after they would ask us) and then no one would show. After the 5th time on the 3rd day we got back to the room we decided it was time to leave . Also the valet wasn’t our main concern and they were friendly but did take a very long time to get the car/ drop off the car. They did end up comping our last night of stay since we left early and did give us the resort fee back , but would NEVER stay here again. The hotel bar 4 marlins, did look nice but the bartender was also rude to my boyfriend and we never went back there. The beach at the hotel is beautiful . The pool was eh. We went to see the sister hotel casa marina which is WAY nicer, would definitely stay there next time and would never stay at the reach again!

We had an amazing stay at The Reach Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton. The beach was beautiful, clean and free of seaweed because the staff takes care of it every morning. I also want to thank Diana and Svitlana from the gift shop. They were so friendly and helpful, and they really took the time to help me find the perfect birthday gift for my wife. It made her day so special. Great hotel, great people, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We spent four wonderful weeks at The Reach this past summer, and it truly felt like home. The entire team made our stay exceptional — everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Stephanie and Sharon, who served us at the pool and restaurant, are absolute stars! Their service was consistently outstanding, and they made every moment feel special. Francisco at the pool hut always greeted me with a smile and had a towel ready before I even asked — such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Annie at the front desk consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her dedication to solving any issue with grace and efficiency was deeply appreciated. And we can’t forget Darius, Jarod, and Ali — the best valet team we’ve ever encountered. They were always friendly, quick, and full of great local recommendations. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Right on the water with plenty of amenities, pool, bar, restaurant, coffee/juice bar, and much more! This is a great spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation spot, but still only a short ride to Duvall if you want to enjoy the night lift. Beautiful beach resort and fun statues in clever poses randomly across the property. Valet parking is a bit on the high side ($50) if you drove to Key West from Miami. Overall loved our stay, wish it was longer!
Cloud S — Google review
As Hilton Honors members, we were especially disappointed in our vacation at this property. I don't even know where to begin. First, know that the property is old - they might have dressed it up a bit, but the rooms are still simply dated. For example, we could barely open the door to our deck because of metal deterioration. On the flip side, the door to our room was very difficult to close/lock - we had to repeatedly close it and test to make sure it was locked when we left the room. I asked for a blanket and additional pillows when we checked in - they looked and smelled like they could have been 10 years old. Only one of two elevators was working and the ice machine on our floor and the one below us were out of order for our entire stay. We soon discovered that our safe deposit box did not work, so used their virtual system to have that fixed. We also used the system to follow-up on housekeeping. So frustrating! Avoid using it if you can. Although servers in the restaurant were lovely and the view was wonderful, food and drinks were exceptionally overpriced for what you get. For example, I ordered lobster macaroni and cheese and only discovered four small pieces of lobster. My husband had a dish with beef short ribs and rice - same situation with the protein. Including one mixed drink, our tab was $125! Our room was $500+ off season for an "ocean view" room as a point of reference for anyone reading this. All that we were really able to view was a life-size chess game and the pool. Hoping that some of this information is helpful for future travelers.

The boutique hotel offers 100 rooms with private balconies overlooking historic Duval Street or the ocean. Guests can enjoy sunset views from the Sunset Pier restaurant and indulge in upscale island design with bright florals and crystal chandeliers throughout the resort.
I have had a great experience so far at Ocean Key Resort. No matter the situation, Craig has got your back. Mitchell provided the best concierge service I have experienced. These people go above and beyond for their guests. Mitchell helped us choose the best experience and assisted us in our travels making sure we have everything we need. If I could leave a 10 star review for service I would! We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and booked an ocean view, her request. We had an issue with the room and the manager offered exemplary service that you often don't see anymore. The hotel is beautiful, you can't beat the location, the view, and the pool. We've been to Key West dozens of times and this by far was the best! 10 out of 10 highly recommend! We will definitely come back and thank you Craig for making her birthday so very special. She was so very happy, which in turn made us very happy. Much love!

We had a great experience at Ocean Key Resort! Extremely nice rooms, ours had a good view of Mallory square and the ocean. Excellent location to explore KW without needing to drive. Even as a local I enjoyed staying here and plan to again in the future for events happening in KW so we don’t have to drive back up the keys. Staff was all very friendly and everything seemed clean and well kept.

My fiancée and I were recently there (booked under her name). The service at Ocean Key Resort & Spa was great; very responsive room service, good food and drinks, friendly staff, and a helpful team overall. Unfortunately, our stay (which happened to be during Fantasy Fest) was ruined by what was allowed to occur at the pool. When we went to the pool two days in a row, several groups of 50-60+ year old swinger-types were hanging out topless, swimming and sun tanning. It was tacky, and honestly just plain gross. No one (except "those people") want to see those nasty, old, sunbaked fake boobs. Management didn’t seem to care at all because they did nothing to stop it, despite a handful of kids being near the pool. When we left the pool early, the bartender even said, “Oh, you guys are leaving? That’s too bad. You two are the most normal people here!” That said everything. Great staff, but the lack of management's intervention made this stay a huge disappointment. Ocean Key is a relatively expensive place and I was hoping for higher standards. However, the gross stuff that was allowed to occur there significantly cheapened the overall experience. I wouldn't stay here again until management gets this under control.

I can only give the hotel three stars. It has nothing to do with the people that work there. Overall, they are lovely. It has everything to do with the owners (the resort company) trying to gouge you at every turn. They stock the room full of things that you can have, but only for a price. I'm not just talking about the minibar. I'm even talking about a cute stuffed animal on the bed for $30 (parents, be warned). First off, the resort itself has had a paint job but needs a true update. It is not as pretty as the pics make it. It's quaint and cute but not spectacular. The Opal next door is far more stunning and cheaper. What Ocean Key does have is an amazing restaurant (which anyone can go to with a reservation) and a lovely spa (which anyone can go to). But we didn't receive any special discounts or treatment for being a guest. My wife's birthday was listed. But all we got was a happy birthday when we checked out. Turndown service was listed as part of the resort fee. But after two days with no service, we were told we had to ask (never mentioned in any communication) and that policy had recently changed. And while the bartender at LIQUID is amazing, the pool itself is very small by resort standards. I hate to knock it down this low. But it does not feel like a luxury resort while charging luxury prices. That's the sad truth. Beds were super comfortable at least, and the location is great (but very loud).

I stayed with my mom for one night to celebrate her birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience. We were upgraded for her special day, and the location was perfect—right on the water with the most beautiful sunset views. The room itself was gorgeous, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The staff was warm and welcoming; Nina at the front desk was especially kind, and the manager Craig went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Our shuttle arrived in town at noon, and they allowed us to check in even though official check in is 4pm. Shouna at the front desk was pleasant. We loved our room, very clean and spacious. We got turn down service at 6pm though we asked them to come back at 7:30 while we napped. Hotel is right in the heart of Duval square activities so we walked everywhere. They are under renovation until December 2025 so there was ongoing construction during our stay, but we didn’t mind because they treated us very well. The next day Craig sent us a text that the pool was closed from 9-11am, but he allowed us to extend our checkout to 1pm so we could enjoy the pool. They even allowed us to leave our bags with them to continue enjoying the pool until 4:30 when we had to leave, and allowed us to shower in their temporary “lobby” shower. They helped me find a power outlet in the courtyard to briefly charge my work laptop for a meeting. The pool attendants were amazing, bartenders and beach chair attendants alike. We will return.

Went to stay here with my partner and if you are looking for luxury, look no further! Between the service (shoutout to Craig, Mitchell, Maya, and Steve), location, pool, views, and amenities, everything was sensational. I've been going to Key West since I was a kid and this was the first time going without family. I will make sure everyone stays here from now on as I don't think I can settle for anything less! Thank you Ocean Key for a wonderful experience; we will be back!

Amazing week at the Galleon resort! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The rooms and cleaning staff are kept beautifully. Definitely a return visit is in store! Special shout out to Dale at the pool… your suggestions were spot on!

We are not owners. My wife and I just rented a place for an almost week getaway. The people here are superb. The location is perfect. It is in the historical/shopping district, but it is on the opposite end from the cruise ships. Enjoy every inch of the tourist world of Key West, but you get to escape to your own little piece of paradise. It has a private beach and pool. The kitchen is well equipped. I feel like I could live her comfortably for months.

The Galleon Resort right on the gulf, we go every October with our week 40 family, and fun times never fail. Staff is super friendly and always accommodating, the room is always clean and in the process of being upgraded with furniture and in 2026 new bedroom furniture. They have pool with an attached small beach on the gulf specifically for galleon guests. The galleon is 3 blocks away from Duval street and Mallory Square, so live music, shops, local entertainment at the square, and the most beautiful sunsets you will see night after night. Also, if you love to fish, the galleon has a pier for their guests fish. The galleon resort is definitely a tradition vacation which I how to have my kids continue as adult with their families.

Really wonderful place to stay in Key West. Our room had a gorgeous view of the pool and ocean. The room was relatively clean, but one of the bathrooms in the room was very moldy. Some of the fixtures are a bit outdated/worn out, but overall the atmosphere is cozy and tropical. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The location really made this place the best. Just off of Duval, you’re a five minute walk to all the popular restaurants, bars, watersport rental booths, golf cart rentals, and of course the ocean. The onsite tiki bar has good live music and a spectacular view of the sunset, and the onsite restaurant Pirate’s Cove has good food for relatively low prices. This is my second time staying in a penthouse suite here, and I’d definitely come back again.

We have been owners for almost 30 years. We love coming to Key West and the Galleon Resort is located in a wonderful area- close to Mallory Square, it is on the waterfront/marina and has a private beach in addition to the pool and hot tub. There are so many restaurants within walking distance and it’s a wonderful place to relax OR do a bunch of activities such as deep sea fishing, etc.

Pur room was 5th floor , every morning at 4.00 a.m. you hear people walking and stomping on the roof top. The ice machine is a joke. You walk to front deskto get a quarter, then back to the parking lot at the end for ice, we checked in Wednesday. We're told by management after front desk person had to ask if we can park our bike in a spot and our truck. Said 20 extra a day for the bike. We had to say ok to extra 100 for our 5 days here to have somewhere to park. But come Saturday they tell us our pass is expired so we go to the front desk and they change their minds and say we can't park here! We have to park somewhere on the road, it's fantasy fest there's no parking anywhere near here. We drove 24 hrs to bring our bike to ride! Greed set in with fantasy fest! And Don't rent 5B it's literally a closet with a fire escape that they call a balcony. Ants all over it.

Loved our stay here over fantasy fest! Great staff, amenities, location! We'd definitely stay here again. The tiki bar and Pirates Cove were great as well, and very convenient. We also loved the private beach.

Disappointing Stay – Expensive, Broken Crib and No Follow-Up from Management I spent one night here in February 2025, paying $450 for a room that unfortunately did not meet expectations. Despite confirming in advance that the hotel had a crib available, the one provided in our room was broken, making it unusable. Additionally, the window blinds let in a lot of light, and there was a bright streetlight in the hotel’s inner courtyard that shone directly into our room. The light made it impossible to sleep properly throughout the night. I reported these issues to the hotel manager, who took my phone number and email, but I never received any follow-up. For the price, I expected a much higher level of comfort and service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on this experience.

Nestled at the top end of Key West near Mallory Square and the city's cruise port, Opal Key Resort & Marina is a newly refurbished 4-star resort featuring 178 spacious accommodations. From cozy standard rooms with ceiling fans and balconies to luxurious two-bedroom suites boasting larger balconies and sleeping space for up to five guests, there's something for everyone.
Best location for Duval and any other spot in Key West. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We went to the southernmost point for the buoy picture and the marina for a Dolphin/snorkeling Sunset cruise. Located directly beside the cruise port so you got to see those arrive and depart. Pool area was nice as well as the onsite restaurant. The street tacos and elites were great! Would definitely return and we are honestly considering bringing our 2 kids next time!

The hotel lobby was very nice and all of the welcoming crew were exceptional. Location was great! We also found the hotel restaurant to be quite nice (even though it was under construction in places) and the food delicious. Rooms has good charging options for devices and we loved the ceiling fan. Going into the rooms I found the property to be in need of TLC with a bit of wear showing all around. We had some water pressure issues with the toilet and faucet though nothing critical. Some of the staff at were not overly friendly when encountered around the property.

We have been coming to Key West for many years. We always like to watch the sunset which is amazing. We went into the establishment with our two dogs. Never been here before and they recommend for us to go upstairs to the balcony. They had just renovated and added a bar with plenty of seating. If you want to watch the sunset this is the place to be. Amazing view and a more than amazing bartender Pedro !!! He told us the upstairs was recently updated with more seating and a bar. If you want to watch the sunset in a laid back environment with no distractions this is the place to be!!! Pedro explained to us the new improvements in the plans. This place is amazing and will only get better. Pedro is the greatest bartender ever with outstanding customer service skills and a great asset for the establishment,

This is the BEST place to stay in Key West, Highly recommend! We had an amazing stay! Booked a Oceanfront room and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. They truly made us feel at home. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained with great attention to detail. We recommend Lolita's and Elevate, also a perfect location for sunsets. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience . This was our second visit and will return!— highly recommend the Opal Key Marina to anyone visiting Key West.

We had an amazing time celebrating our friend’s birthday!! Staff were so super helpful and nice! But Lenka, was absolutely the best! She is an amazing bartender, best espresso martinis and she for sure made our time there sooo much more fun!!! This resort is one of the best ones we have had stayed.

Though the building and the rooms were nice, the service was less than luxurious. The view was beautiful from the room, and the beds were nice enough. However, there wasn't enough coffee for us every day we were there; no coffee or breakfast was offered outside the room, and for a 'resort' I would expect at least coffee for the patrons. Before arriving, we ordered a special deal for our friend's birthday, and they 'forgot' about it even though our friend paid for wine and flowers to be in the room when we arrived. Because of the error, they 'credited' our room $100, but did not tell us how and where we would be able to use the said credit. We couldn't find any number or resource for room service, and ended up trying to 'spend' the credit at the poolside. I was not impressed with the service or the quality of this 'resort'. Also, on our last day, the view of the water at the restaurant was completely blocked by the giant cruise ship parked there, and our peaceful time was encroached upon by the thousands of cruisers who descended upon that section of Key West.

You need more proficient English speakers. This is Florida. It’s the United States. Not Mexico. Not Cuba. Beautiful place. Great housekeeping. But the question, “Where is the gym?” was met with completely blank stares. Also, let’s not start cleaning at 8:00 am when I’m trying to work out. Let’s not get in my way in any way when I’m paying big bucks for my stay. Also, the restaurant “Lolita’s” and the bartenders there need a wake up call.
Paul P — Google review
We had a wonderful time here last week for my birthday, we checked in Monday with a stay planned through Thursday. Although front desk did a wonderful job with helping us extend to checkout on Friday, while also keeping us in our room which was gorgeous! Front desk, pool staff, housekeeping, Lolita servers hostess and bartenders were all wonderful and super friendly. We live in Miami and come to Key west a few times every year, we’ve never stayed here but CANNOT wait to stay again soon! We’ve definitely found our trusted key west hotel🙏🏼 Cannot say enough about the ocean front room! Gorgeous sunset views everyday, such a dream.

Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton offers elegant accommodations in a luxurious beachfront setting. The stylish rooms exude an island vibe with light and sophisticated decor, featuring hardwood or tiled floors, sheer curtains, and neutral tones. The property boasts lush foliage and palm trees on its beautiful grounds, as well as a rare amenity in Key West - a 1,100-foot-long swimmable beach.
This place is gorgeous. We got married here in 2018. Since then it was renovated and the rooms are absolutely beautiful, the service outstanding and the beach restaurant is something out of a resort magazine, very special. Bring your wallet, the fees, of which there are many, add up quickly, but definitely worth every penny! Quiet, beautiful, and peaceful atmosphere throughout. We can’t wait to come back again in a month or so.

Time we are here 10/3 to 10/8 2025. Our first room was hot and the manager said the A/C turns off when theres no activity. It was so hot the temperature said 76 in our room thats strike 1. No view in this room so please check if you are booking online because its not true about the view and they tried to put us in the old part of the hotel. Not at nice Elevator was broken to suites. When we booked our suite it said partial ocean view it wasnt. We also had a keyless entry from our phone also didnt work. Mr Gilbert helped us out. They did move us to another suite. The pillows in our suite smelled bad and something in our room smelled bad when we tried to sleep. I find it gross when you dont put bags in the garbage cans in our room. Very unsanitary. The bar area counter was always dirty and covered with crumbs of food from others. The girls bartenders were sweet but never seen them lift a finger to clean off anything. Unsanitary. Also could you please have other food selections on menu due to seafood allergies. For a luxury hotel i would think you had that plus a vegan or gluten free menu When our room was wrong Patrick was outstanding and moved us to 2013 please check the pillows. For me the pool area had alot of obnoxious loud people, I like to relax but yesterday October 5, 2025 drunk loud people and someone should of told them to shut up. The beach area on the bigger side was peaceful but the water is a dirty brown not clear and garbage was floating in water everywhere. Not much to do walking distance and if you park your car it costs alot. We walked or Uber ed everywhere. I dont think I would stay here again with all our negative experiences. Its truly beautiful but alot of unnecessary issues came with our stay.

I went to key west for this hotel despite the bad reviews believe it or not! Was there first time after Covid, it was amazing. The property is to die for, so I made my point to go back. Well, the service is just like everyone said online. Pretty horrible compare to 5 stars resort level. It used to be Waldorf chain, now it’s curio. I’m not sure which one is better now since I’m fading out of traveling. Anyway, the service is Hilton garden inn level. Very very disappointing all the way from valet guy who doesn’t even care or tell you where to park your car, and after to parked, they didn’t even approached you. We had to walk around find someone. The bar service was slow, staffs was not very polite like nice hotel should, but ok this is key west I guess. No acknowledge to the guest, everyone at the bar was annoyed by the staff’s behavior. The pool guy on evening shift was very rude(the one that look Middle East) he even shut me off with his hand when I tried to order the drink from the pool and he never come back to me after took the order from other people around the pool. That was tick me off so badly. Thankfully the next day the new guy on morning shift (young white kit) saved it. He was very very nice and always pay attention on the guest. Overall it’s a rip off price for the bad service. They should change their chain to Hampton really, so the guest doesn’t expect the service. However, the property is still to die for. In love every bit of it! I’m so confused if I should go back.

Very nice hotel. 2 outdoor pools and service was great at the restaurant. Room was clean and the bedding was very plush. Loved having a balcony with an ocean view and it was an easy walk to the southern most point. Only downside was that the bathroom was very small and no shelf in the shower. Self park is $45 & valet was $50 per night. Bellstand was too busy to help with luggage when we were ready to check out.

I've just had a three night stay at the Casa Marina and loved it. The hotel has lots of character, being an old Flagler building, and is in a stunning setting with lovely pools, grounds and beach. We booked a King ocean view balcony room and it was great. We found the staff efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would return.
Karin T — Google review
The hotel is gorgeous! It is set on a wide section of beach. They have 2 pools, 1 adults only and the other is for families. They have waiters wandering around to take food and drink orders. There is a pier as well as a water sports rental facility right on the property. The restaurant is open air and located between the 2 pools. The food is great. The rooms are very spacious and are equipped with a coffee maker and mini fridge, but the bathrooms are the smallest I've ever squeezed into. The staff is very friendly, but if you need anything like a luggage rack, so your luggage doesn't sit on the floor, good luck. The cons: We had to ask 4 different people over 2 days before we actually were able.to secure a luggage rack for our room. The ac in our room went out and they did fix it, but it took over an hour to get someone there with the tools he needed to fix it at midnight... Our room also had a table with a single chair in it. We asked for a second chair, but in the 4 days we were there, we never received one. For the thousands we spent to be there for a long weekend, you would think they could supply a second chair and a luggage rack. Overall the hotel was gorgeous. We enjoyed or stay minus a couple if inconveniences. I would recommend staying there, but I would say bring your patience if you have any requests.

Pros of the resort: o The resort was absolutely gorgeous and mostly well-maintained. o Beautiful view from the room. They have two pools - families and adult (which happens to be next to the bar). Service and towel service at the pool was good. o Starbucks and gift-shop. o The had someone on-site creating sand sculptures, which were very cool. o Chairs and umbrellas provided on the beach. o Most of the employees were very polite and helpful. o Access to sister property. Cons o Food/Restaurant • Dorada - although it is a beautiful outside restaurant right on the beach, the food was unacceptable. I had a double-cheeseburger that was inedible - think two very overcooked Sysco frozen patties. Two sandwiches and one drink = $91! Tried to share our bad experience with the front desk, they had zero interest in listening to us and suggested an outside restaurant for a "good burger". • Breakfast buffet - looked great but $40 per person. However, with large groups on property, it was turned to private only with a second buffet moved outside with half the options with hot sun beating down on the food. We passed. Same $40 fee. We did not eat on-site again, which was a huge draw to the place. • The nice restaurant was part of the resort but off-site. That defeats the purpose of an on-site restaurant. o The front desk were not that helpful and borderline rude. o Resort fee of almost $70 per day! Does not include parking, not sure what it included. Towels and chair service at the beach was not maintained and looked like it was not even provided. Towels and trash (cups, etc.) were left and no one cleaned it up until "closing time". Chairs with cushions (anything with a cushion) and cabanas were extra. o Had multiple large groups on-site. They over took the dining room, outside common areas, lobby, bar, etc. Individuals like us were made to feel like we were in the way. Very disappointing. o Rooms were not sound proofed. Heard lots of noise at all hours. Open shelves with very few drawers, limited storage space.

The room was nice, the service was not good. It was not cheap to stay there and I do expect normal housekeeping services? We stayed 8 nights and housekeeping was not done 4 nights until I had to ask? Even when I asked they did not come? Great location and we enjoyed our stay but do expect normal house cleaning every day??!

The Marker Key West is a luxurious 4-star resort located in Old Town, Key West. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and features three outdoor pools, including an adults-only pool. The resort underwent a $3 million renovation and now boasts spacious accommodations and first-rate dining experiences at its Starboard restaurant, which is perfect for enjoying Key West sunsets.
Definitely going back! My husband booked through a 3rd party and didn't even realize it. Internet can be tricky. Worked out fine. It was very close to his fave breakfast place, Harpoon Harry's. I usually don't want breakfast so Cuban Coffee Queen takes care of that, all right nearby the hotel. Schooners Wharf is right in front of us and the sun setting over the boats is beautiful, if you have one of those rooms. Pool area was well maintained and nice, they have dual pools! Nice bar setup, but $29 for a small bloody Mary and one NUTRL was pretty crazy. They also have a made to order breakfast window. I believe there's a restaurant somewhere, but we never looked. Can't wait to go back!

I have stayed here at least five times and this time is my last. I used to love this place. Location is amazing and rooms are decent and clean though sound pours through the doors. Customer service is non-existent. But two breakfast servers were amazing and deserve praise: Rose and Jason were awesome. The front desk staff either has zero manners or zero flexibility. Others are newly hired and under-trained. Housekeeping didn’t come on Day 2 - asked me at 4:30p if I wanted service, I asked if they could come back in 15 minutes so I could leave the room - they were frustrated but agreed. I left, they never came back. For the money, you can do so much better than the Marker these days.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. 3 pools to choose from for great options. The room was clean and the view was great. The king bed was not a standard king size bed (which we have at home) so getting used to a smaller bed was a bit of an issue. I asked the hotel and was told that it was "how all of the king beds are at the hotel" and there was nothing that can be done. Other than that, it was a great stay.

We stayed 5 nights at The Marker in Key West. It was a nice hotel in a great location. The grounds are gorgeous with lush gardens. The service was good. The sister hotel at the Southernmost Point had a much larger pool right beside a sand beach, and we were able to visit there as part of our amenities. Great hotel and would love to revisit.

We stayed at the marker for 5 days. The hotel is nice - room was clean and had room service everyday. The pool is nice and always has activities and a daily drink special. The location is the best part of this hotel being right on the marina it was convenient for all our boating activities! the beds/pillows are very comfortable. We were on an end room near the main elevator so we were nervous it would be loud - but it wasn’t at all! The staff were all very nice and always willing to help. Only “complaint” I would have is there are no microwaves in the room or available at all - which kinda sucked when you had leftovers. But it’s a minor inconvenience for the overall experience!
Brittany A — Google review
The hotel room carpet was disgusting. I had to put towels down just to walk on the floor without shoes just to feel normal. For the rate of the room it most definitely should come with clean shampooed carpet. If the carpet can’t be cleaned regularly pull it up. We ended up checking out the next morning and driving to Miami to finish out our anniversary trip. This was my last time staying at The Marker and this was an annual trip because we got married here 9yrs ago. There was no follow with management about our concerns, so hubs said we’re out of here. Poor management results in poor performance! I was relieved once we checked in at the Palms in Miami so I could reset and enjoy the rest of my vacation. I thank God for my husband who simply cares to fix problems!

The property is well-maintained, in a great location, and offers excellent in-room air conditioning. The pool bar is spacious and provides outstanding service. However, my experience was ruined by the dishonesty of the housekeeping and maintenance staff. I accidentally left two items in the locked safe after checking out. When I contacted the front desk, they assured me they would handle the matter and mail the items to me. They sent the housekeeping supervisor and a maintenance worker to retrieve them, but later claimed the safe was empty. I am certain the items were inside, and the safe was definitely locked when I left.

Hotel is lovely. Staff seems great too. It would have been nice to know they were going into renovations in the pool area the week of our stay. They’re basically chipping out the bottom of one of the pools and the noise is unbearable. They decided to inform us the night before. Not cool at all.

Guests can indulge in the serene atmosphere while being just a stone's throw away from vibrant attractions. The resort boasts two heated pools where you can unwind with chilled towels and refreshing smoothies, alongside complimentary bottled water and fresh fruit to keep you cool under the sun.
We have been to Key West many times, this is our third time staying at Santa Maria Resort and is the only place we will stay when there. The rooms are extremely well appointed and perfect for two couples or family. walking distance to just about everything. This trip was special for us we brought our 16 year old Grandson for his birthday. Matilda was working the front desk while we were there and was over the top accommodating getting us reservations for snorkeling and dinner/breakfast suggestions. She represents the hotel to the highest of hospitality standards. If your looking for a great place to stay while in Key West, Santa Maria Suite is the place!

The hotel is very beautiful and the rooms are lovely, but unfortunately, smoking is allowed everywhere — including around the pool. The pool itself is quite small, and the fact that guests are allowed to smoke cigarettes and cigars there makes it uncomfortable for non-smokers. It’s disappointing, as it discourages many people (like myself) from enjoying the pool area. In my opinion, smoking should be limited to designated areas and not permitted in shared spaces like the pool. This issue significantly impacted my experience, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again for that reason.

This place was Absolutely Fabulous not one complaint. Not only were they clean but super attentive to our ever need. We loved the pool and the beautiful atmosphere. I recently stayed here and was warmly greeted by Azul when I entered. She was very helpful with answering questions about the area and food options. The resort is located near Duval street, but on the quieter end of the busy area. There are some wonderful restaurants within walking distance too. The facility is clean and quiet. There are chilled water bottles available by the pool and in the rooms. The unit I stayed in was well maintained, immaculate and comfortable. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Great rooms! Great decor. It is just off the main road so it is a little loud with the traffic. The view is still pretty good from room 312. The balcony is a good size. It is also fairly close to everything you need. I would recommend this for extended stays especially if you plan on eating out. The stove and mini fridge are a bit on the small side.

This hotel should not be considered 3 stars they go beyond that. I stayed in the spacious king bedroom suite with an ocean view a huge balcony and a full kitchen for less than $200 a night. The day I departed I went and stayed at a five star hotel and had none of the amenities or services I had while staying at the Laureate. This is a wonderful hotel and I will remember the few days I spent here for years to come and will come back to stay here.

The suite is very nice and the kitchen is great for families to make food and not have to eat out if they don’t want to.

Was not worth what I paid and would not stay again. Entering our room we immediately saw cockroaches in the bathroom sink and on the floor. There was also cockroach or bug dropping in the towels… (luckily was provided with more) As well as ants in the shower and kitchen. I did let the hotel staff know and was asked if we wanted pest control, but why would I want chemicals added into my room, that should be done on a schedule when guest are not staying. Floors were dirty and did have a moldy scent in the room, wonder if thats why my guest and I had stuffy noses every morning. Overall the room was comfy balcony wasn't bad but wish I had known what the very partial ocean view actually was, trees covering it and half the building was blocking (wish pictures were included with booking rooms). Also beware of the doors, very heavy and slam shut. Wasn’t pleased with this place stayed 10/9-10/12.

The Capitana Key West is a laid-back hotel located opposite the Gulf of Mexico, offering a range of amenities for a relaxing stay. The hotel features an outdoor pool, poolside cafe/bar, and a gym. Situated near Smathers Beach, this charming hotel provides ocean views and various facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, restaurant and bar, as well as a fitness center. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, patios, TV, microwave and desk for convenience.
First experience at an Opal Collection Hotel and it was fabulous. This hotel may not be directly in the heart of downtown but for us, that was actually just fine. The 1.2 mile drive back and forth was a nice escape into paradise. The staff was welcoming and service was their #1 priority. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Pool side was relaxing and the surroundings were tropical. Complimentary breakfast was a step above.

Front desk check-in to beautiful room with an amazing view to tiki bar dinner Tina and bartender great service! The free, really good breakfast in am. Highly recommend! Was worried about dogs(I like dogs but)… we definitely didn’t notice! Great job… staff, manager very efficient too! I would definitely stay again!!!

We had a wonderful time at The Capitana. The property was beautiful from the lobby to the room to the pool/outdoor areas. All of the staff that we encountered were kind and helpful to anything that we needed. The waterfront views were lovely. It was close and easy enough to get to several places, but far enough from the high traffic of Duvall and other popular areas on the island that it was its own oasis. We would definitely stay at The Capitana again!

Beautiful hotel! We stayed over the weekend and had a great time. The rooms were immaculate. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful view of the pool and ocean. We were just 10 minutes from downtown key west. We enjoyed visiting the busy part of the island but going back to the quiet hotel. We loved ending our day in the pool. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a great stay.

Our standards are very high and this place is pretty amazing. Room are absolutely beautiful. This hotel has a sandy area by the water , giving a very beach feel but not a real beach . This is next to a bar place to eat , all exceptionally nice . This hotel is VERY family friendly, and wheel chair accessible . If I had children , that were good swimmers I would come to this place . All the children seemed to be having a GREAT time . And the place is not so big that you could lose them . We did not rent a car very easy to Uber . Mark the manager was extremely nice , looking after all guest well .

Really enjoyed our stay at The Capitana. The pool and facilities are great, and the staff are very friendly. However, the breakfast is quite basic for the price — I was expecting a bit more. The only drawback is the location: it’s not within walking distance of restaurants or shops, so you constantly need to drive. A shuttle service would make a big difference. Otherwise, a lovely stay overall!
Soraya B — Google review
The beach is beautiful, so is the pool area. Wings from the bar were delicious. Loved the outdoor pool table! Staff were all friendly and attentive. Having breakfast buffet included was so convienent! Uber rides ranged from $10. to $14. & arrived in 1 minute. We will be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and beautiful this hotel is. Check-in was a breeze, and I appreciated the complimentary cold water available on every floor. While the gym is on the smaller side, it does the job. The breakfast options are limited, but they certainly suffice. The pool area is well-maintained, featuring a generously sized pool, and there's a private beach right by it with breathtaking views of the Keys. The tiki bar is a highlight, serving delicious drinks and even better food. The staff were exceptionally friendly! I'm really glad I chose to stay here and would definitely recommend it.

The Marquesa Hotel is a charming Victorian-era hotel with just 27 rooms housed in four restored conch cottages from the late 1800s. The lush gardens feature two secluded swimming pools, providing a tranquil retreat for guests. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished with Brazilian cherry hardwood floors and antique reproduction furnishings. Despite its serene ambiance, the hotel's location is conveniently close to Duval Street and Mallory Square, allowing easy access to Key West's attractions.
This hotel is fabulous! The grounds are lovely, the beds are comfy, and the rooms are well-appointed. The hotel is in the perfect location in Key West. The entire staff is wonderful and we recommend it highly! We actually won the stay because the hotel generously donated a 2 night stay for a humane society charity auction. It is so wonderful when businesses do this! A win/win for sure. The animals benefited and so did we! So nice that they care for their community.

Throughout our stay, the service was consistently outstanding. The team was always available to answer any questions, and every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly, and professional. Overall, The Marquesa Hotel delivered an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Our stay at the Marquesa hotel was 10/10. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The bathrooms especially were gorgeous. There are two very nice pools and plenty of chairs and it didn’t feel crowded at all. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable with any questions. We also had breakfast and dinner at the cafe and the food was incredible, the gnocchi in particular at dinner was some of the best gnocchi we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!

Every interaction—from check-in to dining to housekeeping—was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. It was clear that the team took pride in their work and went out of their way to ensure guests felt welcomed and valued. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Hotel Marquesa in Key West! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like VIP – incredibly engaging, warm, and attentive without ever being overbearing. Every interaction felt genuine, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The rooms are absolutely luxurious – beautifully designed, spotless, and equipped with ice-cold air conditioning that was an absolute lifesaver in the Florida heat. Coming back to the room after a day of exploring Key West felt like stepping into a private oasis. And then there’s the pool… simply heavenly. Sparkling, perfectly maintained, and surrounded by a serene atmosphere that made lounging there pure bliss. It was the ideal spot to relax, sip a glass of complimentary aqua fresca, and just soak in the vacation vibes. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines luxury, comfort, and genuinely outstanding service, Hotel Marquesa is it! I can’t wait to come back!

This is the second time we stay at The Marquesa Hotel. From the moment we arrived, our experience at The Marquesa Hotel was nothing short of amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located, but what truly set our stay apart from the last time was the exceptional service we received from Monica. Monica went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our visit was perfect. From offering helpful recommendations, assisting with our requests, and always greeting us with genuine warmth and professionalism, they made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our trip unforgettable. Thank you, Monica for making our stay so special!

Boutique hotel, centrally located. Staff is very friendly and service oriented. Problems with the TV in the bedroom that the Tech staff could not resolve. Living room TV was fine. Could not figure out the high tech telephone in the suite...neither could the desk clerk who came to our room. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Quiet atmosphere is like a private oasis.

This is a review of the Marquesa Cafe not the hotel cause I didn’t stay here just stopped by for dinner. Let’s start with the service, it was amazing just peak of the peak. The restaurant was so accommodating too, I came in thinking I could get the 7 course experience but they informed me it was only available for parties of minimum 2. My server talked to the chef and the chef said she would make an exception. Now for the food, it was phenomenal, just fabulous. Everything tasted so fresh and the flavors were just so amazing. I have pictures but I won’t include them cause this is definitely something you should go try for yourself. No sneak peeks!

Located on Eaton Street, it's conveniently situated near the vibrant bars and restaurants of Duval Street. We have been at The Saint for a week and it has been great. The room and property are clean and unique. The restaurant on property is really good. The staff has been friendly, helpful and made sure if we had any needs they were met. The beds are comfortable, like laying on a cloud. The property is quiet until the roof tip bar opens then it gets a little louder but not over the top or anything. Overall a really nice place to stay.

A lovely experience at The Saint. From check-in to departure, it was an excellent experience. Comfortable room, great pool, central location to downtown... Used the free bicycles to go to the beach, a 4 minute ride to Zack Taylor Park. Quick & easy walk to most Duval Street locations. Amazing, friendly and capable staff. Great time, great accommodations, great people.

A special shoutout to Mike Owens, the bar manager, whose kindness and friendliness shone through in every interaction. He created a welcoming atmosphere that made both guests and staff feel valued. Service was great! Location was great! Staff was great!! If I am ever in key west this will be my place to stay! Everything is in walking distance, 10 minutes away from the airport. During my time of stay the room was cleaned daily. The staff at the front desk was really nice. This was just an overall good location! The pool was very nice and relaxing as well

Great hotel, right in the middle of everything! everyone was very nice, even got a glass of champagne on check-in! The rooms range from very small, up to a penthouse suite with a kitchen. some of them open up right onto the pool. The air conditioning worked fantastic! Our room even had a extra dehumidifier in it as well. The rooms are situated in different buildings surrounding the pool and lobby area. there is an on-site restaurant, and rooftop bar. The only downsides were, there was no bottle filler, you had toasktgefront desk; and the water pressure in the entire hotel was a little low.

My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Beachside Resort and Residency. It was beautifully maintained the staff were friendly and always greeting us with a smile. The concierge in the lobby Susan was amazing. She was so helpful in helping us plan outings that were fun and incredible. Being a local she was so much fun and knowledgeable regarding Key west, her family and its history. The pool and beach like area was great couldn’t ask for anything more with its restaurant the Chicken Walk and its bartenders and serving staff were very attentive.

The rooms were great, as well as the view. I appreciated the fact that there was pool service, and The pool was open at night. I also love the fact that there was a shuttle that could take us to and from downtown, and they were always prompt. I would have liked them to bring coffee up daily, without us having to go ask the front desk, but that’s not a huge problem. The restaurant there was absolutely amazing, as well as the wait staff. I also like that, it was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. All in all, I would stay here again. It really checked all the boxes. We had a two bedroom by the way.

Everything was perfect, really great, the only thing missing was a phone in the room! This is our new go to accommodation when in Key West! On site restaurant / bar was king, all the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, an extra thank you to Hanna at the reception desk. Parking was easy, pool was over the top, beach was clean (as were the entire grounds). King size bed was very comfortable, loved the ceiling fan and the huge bath tub. Truly 5 stars at 3 star rates, great value without sacrificing quality :-)

The shuttle was great and totally appreciated. The pool person should be around till pool area was closed there wasn’t enough towels available. Seemed to be on cell phone all the time. Keeping the critters out of drinks was a challenge. Kinda funny. The food at chicken walk was okay. The bartender was So nice. She was always working hard. Never saw her stop. Everyday I had questions or needed something the people at the desk were always on computers I felt like I was interrupting them. The housekeeping staff were great. Very friendly & helpful even at midnight. I think the pull out couch mattress needs to be better. Very thin & you could feel the coils.

Beachside is super nice place to stay. Staff is eager to please. The location and amenities is excellent. Pool, small beach, snorkeling in the grass flats and small pier for fishing and just sitting being lazy. My husband and I went here for his 50th birthday. Everything about our experience was WONDERFUL! We had the most incredible time by the pool, so many incredible seating options & the temperature was always perfect! Jacuzzi time at night was awesome! Their dining was fresh, DELICIOUS and conveniently charged to our room. The staff is warm and welcoming and they greet you with complimentary homemade, FRESH, WARM cookies!!! Such a spectacular experience. We plan on going back for any special occasion from her on out!

First of all, Google maps shows free parking but actually they charged $21.50 per night. I recommend to change the information. This is the only thing I haven’t expected. Also, They gave me a $36 hilton credit but did not mentioned the detail when I was check in. I used it at night for drinks then I could not use that remained credit next morning. Every staff is friendly and kindly. This hotel is under construction for renew. I did not feel uncomfortable sounds. No big problem. They have a pool area, and we can use it anytime. It helped us to playing water with sons. The room gave us the weird smell like a toilet air fresher. Room it self is nice. Hotel location also nice. Totally, I satisfied to this hotel. I will recommend to my friends visiting Key West.

All the staff was very nice and courteous, especially Michelle. The room was nice! We had a wheelchair accessible room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! The roll-in shower was very nice. The shuttle to downtown was a nice convenience although there was only one vehicle with a working wheelchair lift. This made it challenging for us as we had to call before the hour to let them know we were ready to go back to the hotel.

On behalf of the USCGC INGHAM Association, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for the exceptional support and service during the USCGC INGHAM Association 2025 Reunion held from September 30th to October 2nd, 2025 at the Doubletree Hilton-Key West. Thanks to Victoria Petzold, Director of Sales and Angie Leynes, Catering Sales Coordinator and their meticulous attention to detail, the event was a resounding success. The hospitality and banquet rooms were beautifully arranged, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. The banquet itself was a highlight—every hors d’oeuvre and plated meal was outstanding, both in presentation and flavor. In addition to our members, our Officers and Board of Trustees were especially impressed, and many commented on the seamless coordination and gracious hospitality throughout the week. It’s clear that both of you are true assets to the Doubletree Hilton at Key West. Your professionalism, creativity, and care made all the difference. As the organizer, I can confidently say this reunion would not have been possible without your dedication and expertise. Thank you again for helping us create such meaningful memories. You’re simply the best! Warm regards, Lynn Conley USCGC INGHAM Association Reunion Organizer

Very nice hotel. The pool is a plus. On the other hand, we were repeatedly checked to access the breakfast, even though we had given our voucher. The breakfast is not very varied. The rooms are of good size and the staff (except for the breakfast) is charming. The outdoor parking is paid, and the value for money of the hotel which is unbeatable. The restaurant is very decent. I had to cancel one night for family reasons and the person at the reception accepted this cancellation without any problem, I thank her.

As soon as we got to the room we could hear construction noise which we weren't expecting to have or I would have chose a different room. The service at breakfast was subpar in the morning and the buffet selection was ok but nothing great. The shuttle to Duval Street was easy to use going and coming from downtown keywest. It ran on time and never had any problems with getting the shuttle. It was raining most of the trip so we weren't able to use the pool area unfortunately. The hot water in the room was actually labeled as cold in the bathtub. This was annoying but eventually figured it out. The room was ok but nothing great. Asked for an upgrade as a Diamond member and didn't receive any upgrades for a room. Parking is 20 plus taxes a day. It was easy to find parking but no dedicated Diamond member parking. Didn't find much value in the 30 dollar a day resort charge either other than the shuttle.

We were in Key West for a Celebration of Life reception for my Dad. From start to finish the DoubleTree was amazing. Michael Knowles, General Manager guided us to the right personnel for everything. Victoria and Angie, along with Tyrone in catering/banquet did a fantastic job. Angie was meticulous with her response time and follow-up. Our guests were commenting on the quality and presentation of the food. The room was beautiful and the service during the event was superb! Many of us stayed at the recently beautifully-renovated hotel and it was truly paradise in Key West. There’s even a free shuttle all day long to the downtown area. The views of the sunrise were amazing. The pool area is gorgeous and tropical. We used the restaurant there and all had very good service and food. The Cobb Salad with shrimp on top was so good. I don’t want to forget the front desk team who were all exceptional. They even were sensitive to the reason we were there in the first place. Thanks to the staff at DoubleTree.

The Gates Hotel Key West is a modern and upscale retreat that caters to families and groups. The hotel features a rum bar, cigar lounge, and a Caribbean food truck for convenient dining options. Guests can enjoy onsite yoga classes and relax by the luxurious swimming pool with blackout curtains in the rooms for peaceful rest. The hotel's waterfront location offers scenic views, while the food truck serves imaginative cuisine by the poolside.
We arrived at the hotel and thanks to the open communication, i knew that we had to go to North 24° to check in. From the minute we walked in, we were happily greeted by the hotel staff. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready so we sat at the bar and had lunch while we waited. I received a text from the front desk to let us know that our room was ready and we were upgraded to a pool view room and a welcome bottle of champagne. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful starting with Jose (front desk), the gentleman putting out the towels, housekeeping, bartenders and the concierge (can't forget the hilarious roosters). We would 1000% return to the Gates!

Overall I would say it was an okay experience. When we arrived we were a bit shocked by the chicken reviews but even though the hotel provided us with ear plugs we didn't need them. Our room was relatively sound proof and we couldn't hear the chickens. I don't know if it was just luck or if the hotel took some measures. There is also a free shuttle to the center of key west which departs every hour. The shuttle makes frequent stops but since parking is a nightmare in the center it was a nice amenity. The room was quite expensive and didn't offer as much as we had hoped for. You have to pay a hefty tax resort fee of about 50$ a day. For me this was high because all it included was access to the pool and the gym. Furthermore we had to pay for parking which cost 15$ a day. I personally feel that at least parking should have been included in the room price or the resort fee. All the staff except the receptionist weren't really friendly and treated me like an inconvenience. Overall I would say it definitely wasn't the worst experience I had in a hotel but for the price i expected much more.
Marc M — Google review
The room was great! Hotel structure is also very good, pool was clean and pool area is beautiful with the iconic rooster of key west. The only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was the breakfast. There is no buffet, you have to order from the pool bar.
Maria R — Google review
We stayed here recently for four nights, and my impression was not the best. Overall the hotel deserves a good review. The rooms were recently renovated to a beachy theme, they were light and comfortable but not much thought went into some things. There is no desk but there is plenty of room for one. Only two outlets in the room and one is used up by the mini fridge under the TV. The other outlet has a multioutlet accessory plugged into it giving you a whopping two extra outlets and only two USB ports. We stayed in a boathouse the night before and it had EIGHT USB outlets. The stairs were rusting out and had holes where I can see a small child (or someone with small feet) getting their foot stuck. With that said, the staff was always friendly and willing to help. The beds were very comfortable as well. The roosters weren't a problem. I think they are more prevalent with a pool view, which we had. But they still didn't bother us much. The pool was nice, and bar was inviting. However, I feel that for the money, this hotel did not reflect the cost. Resort fees plus daily parking fees are excessive. The shuttle to downtown was nice though, but I didn't see anything about that when I was booking the hotel. They need better marketing. They were recently acquired by Blue Flamingo so maybe that will help.

I stayed here first week in February for 2 nights. I nearly cancelled due to the reviews, so glad I didn't. Rooms were clean and everything worked. The shuttle was very handy indeed. Pool was warm, food from the truck was nice and staff were friendly. Real novelty with the chickens roaming around. They supply ear plugs, I guess they worked for me as I slept through the crowing. Definitely stay there again.

Wife and I booked this hotel online for vacation. As soon as we got there they informed us that our king bed was unavailable, this was frustrating. I called 2 different times before we flew down to confirm our bed and was PROMISED a king bed. The room we stayed in had potential to be nice but was not clean the floors were very dirty , the door lock in the bathroom and the main door was broken and the phone did not work. The hotel walkways and stairs were not clean as well….the outside area pools and game areas were nice the pool was keep clean and it was very pretty we did enjoy the food at the gates and then the food at the other hotel as well. All the staff were very nice and helped us with any questions we had. They seem to be putting the 2 hotels together and making them one there was some construction but was not in our way…….this hotel has potential to be a very nice get away I believe they just need to take care of the rooms better and figure out a better booking system. The stay did not ruin our vacation by any means and as long as you don’t understand what you’re getting it would be ok. Definitely not a 4 star hotel tho. From this stay I do not recommend the gates hotel for the price they charge I would recommend you spend a little more money and go so where els.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. While the facilities were nice, the service was lacking. My husband ended up cutting his foot on broken glass that was in the grass, and the staff did not have the appropriate first aid kit nor did they follow up with us as promised—especially concerning since there were kids playing in the area where the glass was located. Additionally, the room amenities were insufficient, as we were provided with too few towels. I went to the front desk to request more towels, and while the lady there assured me that two additional towels would be sent to our room, they never arrived. Overall, our stay was stressful instead of relaxing, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Grabiella F — Google review
The room was nice but they charged a ton of extra fees that are not disclosed when you make the reservation. The fees made it 1/3 more expensive. And some of them were incorrectly applied and I had to tell them to remove them. The room also had a smoke detector that flashed a bright green the whole night. Pool was warm and nice and the chickens were cool but I would never go back. Checkin and checkout takes forever and they gave us keys that didn’t work even after another customer complained that their keys didn’t work. When we returned they just shrugged and said they had technical problems. Also there was a lot of loud noise from young students even very late at night and it’s not possible to control the fan separate from setting the temperature in the room.

Nestled in Key West, Hampton Inn offers a relaxed resort experience with its heated pool and stunning ocean views. The hotel provides convenience with free shuttles to downtown attractions and the airport, as well as complimentary onsite parking. The individually decorated rooms feature sitting areas, Wi-Fi, and coffee makers, while upgraded rooms offer balconies and ocean views. Guests can enjoy American cuisine at the poolside restaurant and bar, Cheekie Hut.
Great pool that gives you two complimentary drinks a day. Shuttle to downtown on the strip was amazing and runs until 10:30 at night. Two waters s day with a great free breakfast. Room was nice and had a great view of ocean, the only thing I would improve is the bed was to hard for my liking. Also super close to airport.

Enjoyed a short but great stay at the Hampton Inn Key West. The rooms are clean and spacious. The shower head was fantastic making for great showers at days' end. We enjoyed complimentary drink at the Cheekie Hut. The waitresses and waiters were awesome. Good drinks and conversation. The free shuttle to downtown every half hour of so was a great addition. Highly recommend the Hampton Inn.

I rented waterfront view room and it was soooooo worth it!!!Newly renovated rooms due to the 2024 hurricane season. Please be respectful to the room you rent. The restaurant inside the Hampton has the best cocktails and coconut shrimp I have ever had in my life! The shrimp is beyond fresh!! I know shrimp is just shrimp but just wait until you try their's! You'll say the same thing, that gives a whole new outlook on "shrimp is just shrimp" oh!!! and the sauce!!! Ohhh my goodness!!! If I could buy that by the bottle I would be the happiest person in the world!!!! Breakfast was very hectic and you're better off getting there when breakfast first starts, otherwise, it can and may make for a shoulder bumping experience, in a good way. other than that breakfast was hot, fresh and a wonderful variety! The fruit and veggies are so fresh you swear they have their own fruit farm there! I truly love this place and I highly recommend this hotel, cocktails and the food!! Just go to the tiki hut bar where the pool is. I spent most of my time at the hotel and pool. 😂🫣 I enjoyed it that much!! Sooooo relaxing to chill poolside and stare at water across the street

Our stay at Hampton Inn was fantastic!! The rooms were bigger than most hotel rooms and very clean They had a great free breakfast every morning to start your day! The pool area was awesome and to have a bar there made it even better. The whole staff were very friendly and helpful. A big shout-out to Cleon, the shuttle driver, he was great! Thanks Hampton Inn for a great stay , we hope to see you again soon!!! Holley

The hotel was very clean and spacious. The shuttle service runs from early morning until 10:30. Cleon was a phenomenal shuttle driver. He was so personable and gave us suggestions for dinner. Both suggestions were fantastic. He made our trip memorable

We came in town for the beginning of Fantasy Fest. It was amazing that there was a shuttle (our awesome driver was Cleon) that dropped us off just a couple blocks from Duval. Cleon was very knowledgeable about the area. The Cheekie Hut was another highlight with great drinks from Dennis. There is a airport very close with planes flying over. I can tell you as a light sleeper, it didn't bother me at all!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was lovely. The free shuttle was a great perk and made getting around easy. The AC was unusually loud, which was tough since I’m sensitive to noise—we had to turn it off at times. Also, we’re still waiting on a receipt due to a double charge for a resort fee. We booked through a third party, so the mix-up wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the front desk staff said they’d take care of it. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few bumps.

Eden House Key West is an affordable art deco guesthouse that has been accommodating travelers since the 1920s. The hotel offers low-key rooms and detached conch houses, some with modern aesthetics and wood floors. Guests can enjoy a heated pool and a daily happy hour with crazy good cocktails. The Mediterranean specialties at the in-house restaurant Azur are not to be missed.
Sure! Here’s a polished review you can use or adapt: ⸻ 5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Key West! I had a fantastic stay at Eden House Hotel in Key West! The rooms were absolutely immaculate—clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The attention to detail really made it feel like a home away from home. The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The receptionist was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful, offering great recommendations and making check-in a breeze. Car parking on site on a first come basis .it’s definitely manageable, especially considering how walkable the area is. Overall, a perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy everything Key West has to offer. I’ll definitely be back!

Will definitely make Eden House our go to whenever in Key West! It's such a cute boutique hotel with very friendly staff! Upon arrival, we were offered a beverage, alcoholic and non alcoholic, and also were personally walked to our room! The 24hr coffee in the lobby was great and helped to keep me energized for the duration of our trip! The hotel was kept clean and the yard very manicured! The only complaint I have, which is none other than my own is that our room's shower didn't have a door to separate it from the main room. ( I was traveling with my teenage son )This being said, we improvised and hung a towel wall from the shower door. As far as convenience, the hotel was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do or see while we were there! Wonderful hotel with great staff! Can't wait to visit again!

This was our first time visiting Key West. After looking at dozens of places online, I chose Eden House and I'm so glad I did! My wife loves this place! We have been so happy here. We were only here for 4 days but this was one of the most pleasant stays we've ever had. The staff is beyond amazing! From Jenna at the front desk to all of the staff who are there in a moment if you need them. The property is maintained in pristine condition. The pool is spotless as is the hot tub. There is music playing at a comfortable volume all day long. We asked to see some of the other rooms that were unoccupied. Each room here has its own distinct flavor. Nothing is the same. This will make return trips more exciting and more distinctive. Staying at this hotel has been the highlight of our Florida trip. The next time we book a trip to Key West we will definitely be staying here! I couldn't recommend this any higher than five stars. For the amenities and the staff, the location and the price, you couldn't ask for anything more.

We loved our stay 819/25-8/22/25. We requested a change in rooms due to pool speaker in front of our room. We were quickly assigned a different room and loved our stay. The grounds and pool are wonderful. The location is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. My wife and I will definitely book our next stay in Key West at the Eden House.

Our stay started out really well - we arrived early and they were able to accommodate an early check in - but once the excitement of that wore off, we realized the room we were in (a tiny room with a shared patio and feet from the pool bar) was not the room we reserved (a much bigger room on the second floor on the opposite side of the hotel with a porch). When I made an inquiry about it, the guy at the front desk tried to convince me that the room we paid for and the room we were in, were the same room. I showed him pictures of the two from the site -- he still tried to say that they were the same rate - but he promised to look into it. After about 24 hours, they did switch us to the room we originally reserved. They also sent up a bottle of wine and a note of apology, which was nice, but we didn't end up drinking it - for me, it just reminded me that we'd had to raise a small fuss about the mistake. We *should have* made a thing about staying in a room for a night that was definitely a lower price than what we paid, but at that point, we just wanted to move on. The whole thing wasn't terribly conducive to relaxing but we managed to let it mostly go and enjoy ourselves. In any event, the bed was comfortable, the AC amazing (and needed in the mid- August heat) and the pool (and pool bar) very enjoyable. I don't think we'd ever return to this property but it is a nice place - as long as you double/triple check that the room you reserve is the room you actually get (and are charged for).

I took my wife to Key West for her 50th. When they realized it was her BD, we arrived to our room and was greeted to a complimentary bottle of champagne which was a nice little touch. I bought their smallest room, which was small of course, but we didn't plan on spending much time in the room so that wasn't important to me. The room was very clean and it was certainly nice and well cared for. The whole property was nice and clean as well. the pool was clean and there were always fresh towels and water coolers for filling up our water bottles which we used frequently and very much was appreciated. The price was right and I'm really glad I chose this place and I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Key West. Thank you Eden House!
Gabriel P — Google review
This hotel is a scam. They advertise rooms with queen size beds that are clearly full size at best. I actually measured the bed and it was far smaller. On top of that the room is almost closet sized with an exposed shower and sink which makes it feel very humid in the room. There's barely enough space between the bed and wall to walking into the room. The shower also hadn't been cleaned with a piece of old soap stuck to the floor and bug crawling under the pillow when i moved it.. I brought it to the attention of the man working the front desk who first told me it was a queen. The GM came on later that evening and admitted that it wasn't a queen and offered us a slightly larger rom but same size bed. Again the sink was in the room and it was stuffy and humid which made it hard to sleep more than four hours. I canceled the room after one night and tried to get my money back, but they've refused. Do not stay at this hotel. This is basically a hostel with hotel prices, $260 a night in my case/

H2O Suites Hotel is a contemporary property located in the heart of Key West, just steps away from Duval Street. This adults-only resort offers chic suites with amenities such as flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, and private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Some suites feature individual plunge pools, private balconies or patios, spa-style bathrooms with soaking tubs and rainfall showers. Guests can enjoy leisurely days sunbathing and relaxing in these spaces.
This place was the perfect spot to stay in Key West. Walking distance from a bunch of great restaurants and services. Only a couple blocks off Duval st. as well as the Southern Most Point Marker. Shout out to Wilfred, he was incredible and made us feel at home and appreciated. He attended to getting us settled as well as helping us secure a golf cart to travel around the island. Complimentary Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's on Saturday were an awesome touch. Then to top it off we received a really cool departure gift at checkout to remind us of our amazing Key West weekend.

Very exclusive and peaceful boutique hotel that is still walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Property is well maintained. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. The private pool is great for relaxing right outside your own room. They provide water, fruits, snacks, and free daily happy hour by the rooftop bar. Good customer service. We really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back. They were incredibly welcoming and the rooms and grounds were super clean and comfy. The location was perfect, just off the beaten path but minutes to everything, walking distance or bike rentals available. The gym was perfect and clean and the rooftop pool and bar was our favorite too. Highly recommend, reasonable rates and all around a beautiful place !

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay at H2O. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and the rooms were gorgeous — spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect, on the quieter side of Key West, which made for a truly relaxing stay. Everything about H2O exceeded our expectations.

We fo to Key West about every 2 years, this was the first time we stayed at H2O. It was a great experience. The staff were wonderful and the room with the private pool was amazing. It is located just around the block from Duval St and close to the beach. We will be staying here again for sure!

I wrote this review primarily to help anyone considering H2o Suites Hotel who might have any kind of physical disability affecting going up and down two flights of stairs to access a room. I am also thinking about those of us who are older and just don’t want to deal with the hassle anymore, especially when luggage is involved. However, I have also included some tips at the end to make the most of your stay if you do choose H2o. * * * * * I have a chronic neurological condition, peripheral neuropathy, which affects my feet and balance. As a general rule, it has not impacted our past travels. However, that all changed a couple of weeks before our visit to Key West. My physician unintentionally prescribed something for me that sent my condition into overdrive, making it painful to walk and my leg muscles very weak. In preparation for our trip, I called organizers for our planned excursions a week prior to make sure they were still possible with my condition and was relieved that most of the companies could accommodate me. The last thing on my mind was H2o. Who would imagine that a 5-star luxury hotel would not have elevators for guest rooms? On a whim, I Googled whether they did and was shocked to learn that their elevator does not – it only goes to the rooftop bar/pool and the second-floor gym (so ironic). This was going to be a problem for me, so I called to ask if any options were available. The front desk person was lovely, but not helpful. “If only we had known earlier, we could have made some type of adjustment,” she said. I asked if, at the very least, someone could help with my bags – she confirmed that someone would be available to do that. What I learned later is that she checked on their ONE ADA-compliant room which was already occupied at that time. In retrospect, I should have asked if a first-floor room was a possibility but I did not know the building floor plan. Money was not an issue for the upgraded room, but I was not given that option. It was past their 14-day cancellation period, so we could not back out to arrange for other accommodations either. When we checked in a week later, nobody was available to help with our bags. The young woman who checked us in had absolutely no empathy for our situation either which made things worse. She actually seemed irritated at having to deal with us. My husband had to handle all of the bags after our long day of travel and I was simply traumatized. This may sound like an exaggeration, but it was not . . . walking up and down the two flights of stairs was frightening, especially after any rain. I almost did not want to leave the room. Bottom line is that H2o needs to disclose the fact that they do not have an elevator to the second-floor guest rooms! It is not mentioned on their web site anywhere and was not included in their confirmation email. * * * * * H2o Extras: - In-room: Upgraded toiletries & robes; complimentary frozen Dove bars & muffins (eh . . . if you have other options, go with those). - On-property: Welcome glass of champagne; at the full-service rooftop bar, complimentary mimosas or bloody marys in the late morning (opens at 11:00 am) with small snack, if requested. In the afternoon after 1:00 pm until 5:30 pm, wine or sangria. - Parting gift: It was a thoughtful gesture, but the candle they gave us when we checked out became a problem – it was bulky to add to our already full baggage. And, it was a red flag at the airport, so I was pulled aside and my bag checked. - Coupons: If you look behind the TripAdvisor review request in your room key sleeve, there are two tickets for drinks at The Tipsy Rooster. Unfortunately, we did not discover them until we were home. Really a shame, because we visited the bar a few times without knowing they were there. - Misc.: The icemaker is awesome but start it when you arrive because it takes a while to produce much.

Loved our stay at H2O Suites. Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Shanieka and Winffild. The rooms were large, clean and beautifully decorated. The complimentary champagne, water, chocolates, muffins and ice cream bars were such a nice touch. The pool was lovely, although there was never anyone running the pool bar while we were there. Take note, the 2nd floor rooms are walk up only. The elevator that goes to the pool does not access those rooms. I would definitely recommend for couples and anyone wanting a nice quiet place to stay.

This is a great adults only boutique style hotel in the absolute best location in Key West. We had a balcony room and were pleased we hadn’t booked a pool room, which were all fully shaded and the rooftop pool was brilliant! We have stayed in much better 5 star hotels around the world but tbh I don’t think we could have chosen anywhere better in Key West! The pool staff were lovely but reception need to learn how to smile more:-) The coffee machine in the room was total pants and the balcony could have cleaned more often but other than that the room was great for our 13 nights! A 2 minute walk from the room and we were in Duval Street for breakfast and the great nightlife. I would definitely recommend the H20 hotel and would stay here again❤️

Last week me and my best friend had the pleasure of staying here and we fell in love . Let me start with our room we had the top corner room overlooking the pier and wow the view was amazing the inside was clean and had everything we needed I had called earlier that day to see if they had a blender we were going to buy one to bring they made sure to put one in there before we arrived . When we arrived the lady working the front desk was great ( so sorry forgot her name) she answered all my questions and was always there when I needed anything and Joe was the best he helped with our bags and was so kind . I will definitely stay there again there are restaurants close you can walk to . We also got a golf cart and was able to use the parking there . Thanks again for a great vacation

I arrived at the property and immediately smelt a horrible odor coming from the property that I was willing to let go due to it being on the outside of the property . Once I stepped inside the lobby and smelt the inside of the lobby smelling the same way . I asked an unusual request if I could see the room that I was renting before I checked in . That was between 12:30 pm and 1 . The front desk manager informed me that the room was not ready but will call me and let me know when it was ready . I sat maybe outside for 20-30 mins and the front desk manager informed me that the room was ready and I could look at it . At this time she stated that there was no other rooms available for me to rent if I wanted a different room . This raised red flags for me because why would you say that not knowing whether I wanted to change rooms or not . I just simply requested to view the room before checking in . Walking up to and into the room I smelled a horrible smell of musk , mildew and overall bad smell . I walked into the room that seemed okay but I could not see myself staying here smelling this horrible smell . I invited my 72 year old aunt to come and see the room with me that she paid her portion of the deposit also . She immediately begin coughing and choking on the smell . We couldn’t even get passed the first bedroom before we couldn’t handle the smell of the room . On top of that the beach area was not cleaned or well kept and I truly believe you guys are now scamming people with the pictures and description of this property . I believe the manager choose to put us in this room that she knew had this unbearable smell ! I called back and ask to speak to her and she said that a two bedroom two bath suite mysteriously came available after only being gone off the property for 30/45 minutes . She then stated that she wished I would have said that before I left she could've accommodated me seeing as the rooms can be booked one minute and not booked the next minute due to it being a timeshare . I told her based upon her previous statement of it not being any more available rooms we found a healthier room. She said that the room would be gone if I did not check in . She told me that she would call me after speaking with her manger about returning the deposit on Tuesday at 4 pm . It is now Thursday 7:33pm and I haven’t received one call about the deposit being returned

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed at “Home In Key West” hosted by Robert. The property looks much better online than in person. Upon arrival, the main door was locked—we waited to be let in. Our unit had a mosquito issue and no spray was provided despite our request. The rooms were small, blinds were broken, and the kitchen lacked even basic pots or pans. Pool was tiny and the beach nearby wasn’t clean. This place needs some serious improvements. Wouldn’t stay again as-is.

The Curry Mansion Inn in Key West offers a refined bed and breakfast experience with elegant rooms and suites. The inn, built in 1869 by Florida's first millionaire, is steeped in history and features a stately Victorian-era structure with antique furnishings. Guests can enjoy daily cocktail parties by the outdoor pool.
If you've never been to Key West, do some research. You'll find accommodations at huge hotels, privately owned inns, and others. I did a lot of research and found that Curry Mansion offered all that we needed and more. You can book online or phone. You'll get the info you need via text or email. Very convenient! No need to stop by a desk to check in or out. Room was great. We stayed in the pool annex. Good size until and had the usual amenities. And the pool isn't big but big enough. Towels and a washer and dryer are located by the pool, too. Location, location, location. Just a half block off Duval, right in back of Fogarty's bar and restaurant. Sure, some noise but we slept well. Parking is limited and there is a decent amount of it. Look for parking on the side of the Mansion as well as up front. Ans it's free. First come first served. No room service that I know about but they do operate a small bar. But, heck, you are close to many restaurants, so explore! Now....prices. Cheaper than the big box hotels, which are farther away. Definitely recommend.

Terrible maintenance and no hotel personnel. Bathroom sink had no stopper. Shelf missing in the bathroom. Peeling paint everywhere outside. Water pressure was terrible. Water wasn’t warm enough. Electrical plugs were broken or not secured. Receptacle plates were missing. Blinds don’t work. Dirty carpets. Exterior Wood trim coming off on various spots around the property. Storing luggage in the public dining room is ridiculous when no one to protect your stuff. Wallpaper in the main building coming off. Termite and powder post beetle damage in the fancy woodwork that should have been repaired in the main house. Room needs painted. The room I booked online with pretty woodwork and wood floors was far from what I got. Our room was in the adjacent building with carpet and painted woodwork. Not even close to how we were misrepresented or bait and switch with the room. The picture online of the room we booked wasn’t even close to what we got. I should have read the reviews before I booked. Run fast. Way more places better than this for the money. Terrible room for my birthday. Will never stay there again.

Abysmal. Curry Mansion has a lot of history. I stayed here in the 90’s with my parents when it was a family-friendly bed and breakfast. Those days are long gone. Now you’re lucky if you don’t get woken up in the wee hours by trashy people fighting over who-knows-what (drugs? money? baby momma drama? Take your guess!) by the pool. The location is convenient, but I’d personally rather go somewhere better (and cleaner) farther out for the same price. I should also mention that there isn’t any staff to help. You’re on your own, or you can email and wait about a day for a response.

Having previously stayed twice at the Curry Mansion Inn when it was still owned by the Curry family, my husband and I had no hesitation in booking a deluxe king room with balcony for our recent trip to Key West. What a disappointment on this occasion. The room itself was not clean and I found some maggots in the corner of the room. The door to the balcony would not shut and the sink in the bathroom was rusty and not cleaned properly. There are no staff on site except for a lady that serves coffee and a couple of items for breakfast over in the main house, which you have to pay separately for. Previously, breakfast was served round the pool and included in the price as was a happy hour 5-7 every evening. The rooms are not cleaned at all during your stay . The staircarpet to the first floor rooms looked as though it had never been vacuumed and was filthy. I would certainly not recommend people to stay here any more.
Lee W — Google review
Check in was simple, but if you were expecting a representative on site surprise no one was available. The good news was text messages worked and became very import as our stay progressed. The mansion is impressive, but our room was discussing the carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time and was badly stained. Do not walk on it in bare feet!! and then to our surprise a extra large sound stage was set up outside our room and during sound checks our room vibrated severely. We checked out and found another hotel for our stay. top price for crap. I will never stay at the Amsterdam Surry Mansion again.

pros: Central. Walking distance to sunrise pier and other restaurants, bars and pubs.Neat rooms. Restaurant on site was nice but basic, and service was good. Service was shocking. Booking is done through an offsite agent. 10am check. Doors lock up and we could not get back in to pack. 3am fires alarm woke everyone. No Apology or explanation. Eventually someone arrived to open our door so we could pack up. Definitely lacks service with a smile…

This was not a perfect place but it was clean . Convenient to everything. Would like to see this place back to what it was. Not a aibnb. This place needs love and care. Don't like how know one is there. If I owned it I have it the way it was supposed to be. I will stay there again. Thank you. Not much parking so be prepared.

Nestled in the historic Old Key West, Island House Key West is a vibrant and inclusive clothing-optional resort catering exclusively to gay men. This adults-only retreat stands out amidst the mainstream family-friendly resorts, offering a liberating and progressive atmosphere since the 1970s. The all-male community provides various accommodation options, from shared baths to deluxe private rooms.
This place is an extremely nice men-only place to stay. The location is convenient and easily walkable to Old Town places. If you prefer, you could stay in, without having to leave the site, and enjoy the 24x7 Café/Bar, pool and jacuzzi, and great entertainment with the other guests in special dark rooms. Happy Hour every afternoon. You can feel very comfortable wearing nothing but your flip-flops or anything else your heart desires. Great place to get sun. Misters keep the heat down. It's pricey, indeed, expensive but no complement breakfast. You can slpurge on large suites or smaller rooms. Various views from the windows are available. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back someday when I save enough money,

This place has 100% got me out of my comfort zone and showed me that different it okay, it’s fun, and it’s freeing! I have never been to a resort like the Island House. This place you leave your problems at the door and let your fun flag fly! The staff at the Island House go above and beyond to help make your stay the best that it can possibly be. Shout out to Jordan (Front Desk) and Archie (Late Night Bartender) for being so kind, so helpful, and giving it 100% at their job, and doing their job right! They made our stay that much more enjoyable. The food here is AMAZING, and it’s a plus you’re able to charge all food and drinks to your room. Talk about being a clean place.. this place is clean from top to bottom ;). The rooms are updated and extremely clean with every thing in them that one could possibly need for a great stay. I was doubtful when I first arrived because it was my first time at a place like this.. I let my guard down and had the best time I’ve ever had on any vacation I’ve ever taken. You pay for what you get.. suck it and pay the money you will not regret it! I will be back and I’m counting down the days until then. Thanks again for such an enjoyable time.. can’t wait until next time!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Island House is truly the best gay resort in the world—hands down. Every time I visit Key West, this is where I stay, and it’s always an amazing experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a warm, inclusive, and completely judgment-free environment. The staff are incredibly friendly, genuine, and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. The entire resort is so well-equipped that you really don’t even have to leave—pool, hot tub, gym, café, bar, sauna… it’s all right there, and it’s all top-notch. On top of that, the location is unbeatable—so easy and convenient to get around Key West. Whether you’re walking, biking, or hopping in a cab, everything you could want to explore is just minutes away. I’m always so happy to return here—it’s truly a special place. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Went there last September. Staff was very nice, actually great eye candy. Drinks were good. I have gluten issues, and the staff accompanied me. Going back next week for 7 days

My absolute favorite vacation spot. I get to be naked in tropical breezes and foliage, with excellent food and drink options. The people who go here are also always interesting, well-rounded, and good to converse with. The resort has everything for everyone whether you like to just chill naked or are on the friskier side. I'm so glad I was open enough to trying this place, because I now look forward to going twice a year. The outdoor pool is always heated to a perfect temperature, and the steam room is actually fancy and has a shower in it for cooling off while you're still in the steam room.

This is a nice resort where you can spend all your time if you like, or you can get out and explore Key West. You can walk to Duval Street in under 15 minutes, or there are plenty of Ubers available we never waited more than 5 minutes to be picked up. The staff is friendly, and the happy hour is a great mixer. Our stay was October 2025, and you get three free drinks during happy hour at the pool and most guests are there, so it is a good time where you will meet and chat with people. The resort is not cheap and it's hard to know if you're getting a good deal since the prices are all opaque, but if you have the budget and want to stay in a friendly place, then Island House is a great option.

Most of the staff had an very unacceptable attitude. The drinks were weak and overpriced. Luckily we wanted to visit the facility before booking a room, just glad we didn't waste money here. Go to Fort Lauderdale drinks are better, guys are hotter and people are more friendly.

Absolutely terribly overpriced. Extremely expensive just to walk in for the day the people are rude and very snobby for the amount of money you pay you get exactly the same thing as the New Orleans house which is completely free and everyone there is very friendly and welcoming not like this place just go to the New Orleans house.

Nestled in the heart of Old Town Key West, Florida, La Concha Key West is a historic hotel offering modern amenities and luxurious accommodations. Situated along Duval Street, this upscale hotel features an outdoor pool, a pool bar, and a contemporary fitness center. The guestrooms boast unique services for a memorable stay and stunning views of the city and ocean.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at this incredible hotel, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special and genuinely appreciated. This hotel is located right in the mist of everything and in walking distance. On the day of our anniversary after being out for part of the morning , when we returned to our room, we were surprised and delighted to find a beautiful bottle of wine and a selection of delicious treats waiting for us, a thoughtful touch that truly set the tone for the entire stay. The room itself was elegant, immaculately clean, and so cozy. Every detail from the luxurious bedding to the soft lighting helped create the perfect romantic atmosphere. Throughout our stay, the service was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and eager to make our experience unforgettable. We also enjoyed the hotel’s amenities and dining, which were top-notch in both quality and ambiance. This trip exceeded all of our expectations. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, and we’re already planning to return for another special occasion. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful memories!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the La Concha Key West. The property is located in the center of most everything. We were very much impressed by the Hospitality here as well as a very attentive staff. We had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with the GM as well as the food and beverage manager, they were down to earth and you could tell they love the hotel and want all guests to have an excellent experience. We did experience an issue during our stay and it was very promptly and professionally addressed by Brittney, she could have not been more helpful and professional. I do not do many hotel reviews but when you have experienced exceptional service in today's world it should be recognized. Thank you Marriott and the La Concha, Key West for a great vacation.

Beautiful resort and friendly people. Good attitudes all around. was incredible - he greeted us, made us feel welcome. We arrived early, our room wasn’t ready so the front desk accommodated us nicely and put us in a different, but just as nice room. Diav put our luggage in storage while we waited. Great experience here.
Dave M — Google review
The lady at the front desk at night overcharged us for our deposit and was also rude. The room was extremely small. Cleanliness was below average and the thermostat for the AC didn’t work. Due to location there was a lot of noise throughout the night. The gentleman that checked us out in the morning was nice. He also was the one who informed us about being overcharged and resolved the issue. The only enjoyable thing of hotel is the main lobby. Everything else does not justify the 4 star rating for this hotel. The roosters in the parking lot were a nice touch though.
Brayan R — Google review
Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were ridiculously nice, and the hotel’s central location made it easy to walk or bicycle almost anywhere of interest. The on-site food was reasonably priced (especially compared to most places on Duval), and the drinks were absolutely incredible—probably the best we had during our vacation. They were delicious, beautifully made, and crafted by bartenders who felt more like chefs. The atmosphere was lively yet charming, with salsa nights in the bar downstairs and plenty of historic character to take in. Staying in such a historic hotel was a unique experience—beautiful overall, even with its age showing in certain areas. That said, there were some inconveniences: a leaking ceiling, a none working bathroom, and a few times towels weren’t replaced. The staff, however, were quick and accommodating whenever issues came up, which made all the difference. We also noticed one discrepancy between a bar receipt and our final bill, which felt a bit off, but it didn’t dull the overall experience. In the end, we had everything we needed—affordable food, world-class drinks, friendly service, and a beautiful setting full of history. I just wish the hotel offered guided tours to share more of its past. Despite a few hiccups, it was a memorable stay and one we truly enjoyed.

This hotel is in a great location. Most of the staff is friendly and nice. However, the front desk girl was not very nice. We are gold elite Marriott members and for all the money we have spent in marriotts all over the world we expect to be treated with class and respect. She was unprofessional and had a huge attitude. We arrived at 3:30 and were told our check in time was not guaranteed until 4. Our room was not ready until after four. Also, I spilled some water in the floor in the room and the floor was filthy. I mean FILTHY. Overall the room appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. I attached a photo of the filthy floor. Do better Marriott especially for your elite guests. We can easily use another chain of hotels. There are plenty available.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the front desk staff and offered complimentary Prosecco. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and our room was prepared a bit earlier than the promised 4 PM check-in time. The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff was exceptionally attentive. The hotel’s convenient location in the heart of Duvall Street made it easy to access restaurants and local attractions. The manager, Jenn, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was truly special, and we can’t wait to return.

This hotel is in a great location, but it's a flip for sure. The main lobby and restaurants are beautiful, the staff is nice but once you get into the rooms that's where it ends. We had a Jr. King Suite, the room looked nice, but then you see all the misses. Our toilet paper holder fell off the wall and was never fixed in the 5 days we were there. The bathroom shower was peeling, and the air conditioner didn't get the room below 70 degrees. The worst was house keeping, everyday we had to call down for towels, hand towels, and wash rags, we left a not for extra towels and still didn't get it. They never vacuumed or cleaned the floors. The shower was never cleaned. It was definitely not what you expected from this brand. Won't be staying here again.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Key West is a modern hotel that offers free hot breakfast and features a pool with fountains, cabanas, and a tiki bar. Located near the New Town, this Marriott property provides in-room amenities such as flatscreen TVs, writing desks, and free WiFi. The hotel's outside pools offer a perfect setting for a tropical family getaway. With its 3-star classification, guests can expect comfortable accommodations and modern amenities.
This was a great spot for a 2-night stay in Key West. Beds were comfy and it was quiet (we were here in October - their slow season). We enjoyed the pool and the pool side bar. We used the shuttle a couple times which was very convenient. We had access to chairs at Smathers Beach with the resort fee. The breakfast was a good, easy meal before starting the day.

Stayed for 3 days (baseball tournament). Rooms were old but usable. We had ants all over the bathroom counter and sink and this was as soon as we walked in the room. Best way to describe the room is like putting lipstick on a pig. Front desk staff was amazing but the room service staff is a different story. The blue shirt workers were rude and felt bothered when you asked a simple question. The pool area was nice and the breakfast was good with standard options. The staff at breakfast time kept the area clean and full of fresh food.

Checking in was easy, I did feel a bit rushed as I had wanted to make some adjustments, I was able to, but I had to almost talk over the front desk staff. The rooms were clean, but a tad small. Bathrooms were clean as well, but they were very very small. Beds were cozy. The rooms are great for spending minimal time in while you adventure. The hotel offers a shuttle to downtown as well as a pick up, we didn’t use this option but the shuttles looked clean comfy and big, breakfast was great, it is set up outside by the pool. They had a bar near the pool as well. Drinks were a bit pricey but yummy. But the food at the bar is not good, especially for the price, it seems like it’s microwaveable food. We had ordered French fry’s chicken tenders and nachos, over $60 for chewy chicken tenders, the fries were okay, and nachos that were a pile of chips with melted cheese on top. If you’re hungry I would recommend DoorDash. I do want to give a shout out to Shelly, I believe is her name if I remember correctly. So friendly and really made my day just chatting with her.

I’m a loyal Marriott customer and have more than 40 night stays in 2025 alone. I stayed at this property for three nights. The front desk staff is professional and friendly. The housekeeping staff does a great job of cleaning the room. The breakfast staff is also great and they have a better than average selection of food choices. The only reason I gave this property a 3 star review is due to its fitness center. The room is abysmal! It’s dirty and not regularly cleaned. I visited this gym three days and the condition remained unchanged. There is no water for guests in the fitness center and there were no sanitizing wipes or antibacterial gel. The only weights in the room are dumbbells and it’s a half set. There were no dumbbells less than 25 pounds in the room. There are no exercise mats and the floor is disgusting. The treadmills are rusty and filthy. If working out is important to you when you travel, don’t stay at this property.
Bart B — Google review
This definitely did not feel like a Marriott at all. No smart TV in room, no complimentary toiletries in room, there was no wash cloths or hand towels in room, we had to ask. The breakfast was good and having a shuttle to downtown every hour was a nice feature! They also let us check in early which was a bonus!
Holly G — Google review
Go somewhere else, find another hotel to stay at. Where do I even begin to start. First off, there’s burnt out lightbulbs in the room. The outlet in the bathroom by the mirror that is GFCI protected doesn’t work. So if you want to blow dry your hair, you gotta plug it into the outlet by the lamp by the bed. Also, of course, when you are swimming in saltwater and you wash your hair you wanna apply some conditioner well, there was no conditioner. The bottle is completely empty. Fortunately, I brought my own. Next on top of that the other kicker, they actually charge you $10 a day to park there. If I hadn’t known that before I booked the room I would’ve never booked the room at this hotel. I’m paying a lot of money a night to stay at that hotel. You think I’d be able to park for free in one of their plentiful spaces.
Tommy M — Google review
This place is a great value. Clean and friendly staff. The shuttle is a game changer. You don’t have to stay downtown but you can go anytime you want to. This is the keys. Built in the 60-70’s. These buildings are old. The place is very clean with a great pool. Even has roosters to wake you up in the morning!
Adam H — Google review
As a gold member I was promised an upgrade. I got a 3rd floor facing the afternoon extremely hot sun no view. Miles from the only super slow elevator. The resort fee is for nothing anyone ever wants. For instanc, the shuttle conviently leaves the hotel an hour after the one big tour to dry Tortuga departs. So it is worthless. I got in the room and washed my face and no towels

The Best Western Hibiscus Motel is a laid-back property located in Downtown Key West, offering free continental breakfast and parking. It's a popular choice for budget-conscious travelers due to its great location just a short walk from the beach and one block from Duval Street. The motel features an outdoor pool and hot tub, making it perfect for relaxation after exploring the city's top attractions.
Amazing boutique hotel. We had an upstairs pool view ( upgraded - platinum level). Great breakfast options in the morning (7-10am) that changed the days we were there ( 3 nights). Pool was great and lots of seating options around it. Rooms were nice (fridge and microwave in it) and air conditioning worked great. Just over a mile walk to Mallory Square but lots of great things all around. Nice to have the hotel out of the busy areas too but close enough to get anywhere. Staff was great and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The lady at the front desk was very friendly and nice. The room was spacious and very clean, with a microwave and a fridge. Great location, away from the noise. Free breakfast and plenty of free parking. The pool was excellent. We’ll definitely come back!

Front desk staff was extremely rude to me, my sister and my daddy. My family booked a total of 3 rooms. Stefan was the only one who was nice and helpful. Stacey did a great job with the daily breakfast. Housekeeping went above our expectations as well.
Jennifer F — Google review
I was honestly a little worried about how this hotel would be because it was priced so much better than most of the other Key West accommodations but was so pleasantly surprised upon check in. The room was immaculately clean and spacious with cold a/c, and the rest of the property was also very well kept. The pool area was small but very nice, plenty of pool chairs while we were there but I do imagine if it’s busier it might fill up and be hard to find a seat. The breakfast was well stocked with many great options for everyone. And the location can’t be beat, just a block from Duval and very close to the Southernmost Point. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location—offering everything you might need at a very reasonable price. It’s just a short 3-minute walk to Duval Street, yet tucked away in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean—truly spotless, with nothing to complain about. There was just one minor issue (which I believe the hotel can easily address): small ants near the bathroom floor and on the drawer in the room. Perhaps it’s a common occurrence due to the climate, but it would be great if the management could look into it. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and I never once regretted choosing this hotel. Thank you to the staff—you’re doing a fantastic job keeping the place in excellent condition!

First off, I don’t do reviews. I never do reviews, but I had to do a review. We stayed at the little but quaint Hibiscus Motel in Downtown’s Key West. I would like to give a special thank you to Sttephan Who is a very friendly young man. Tasha’s who checked us in who was also extremely friendly. We were Extremely surprise of the up taking and care that they do here at the Hibiscus motel. Our room was very clean and it looked like they gave a motel room the modern look of a hotel room. Everything was nice from the palm trees, the pole and the breakfast . It was a continental breakfast but everything tasted a lot fresher . we sat pool side and had our breakfast. The breakfast was really good plus free parking and one block three minutes away from the famous DeVaul St. If you’re planning on coming to Key West check this place out I don’t think you will be disappointed. Thank you .👍

If you're looking for a nice hotel that's close to Duval st and a quick walk to the Southernmost point, this is truly a great option, especially for the price. It has free parking, a large, clean pool and free breakfast. Rooms were nice and you are within walking distance to so much. It's not a fancy hotel, but it has just what you need. We'd definitely stay here again.

We chose this place because of the chain and location to Duvall Street. The location was great because we were able to walk to all the bars, shopping, beach and excursion. The staff were ok but not overly friendly. We had toilet issues and they were quick to send someone out. However, this morning we left earlier than anticipated because my husband woke to something crawling on him. Turns out our bed was covered in ants. Very disappointed and totally disgusted. I mentioned it when we checked out and the woman didn't seem to be surprised. This was very disappointing. We will not return to this Best Western location.

Aside from fending for your self for parking, this location was perfect!! The rooms were nice staff was super friendly and the it was so incredibly close to everything. Also the views were amazing! Definitely recommend this place; it’s very laid back and their bar is simple but totally worth it if you don’t want to be around people and want to enjoy a drink solo. BUGS!!! Beware of bugs in every bed! I’m not even a customer that typically writes reviews, especially complaints. However, if I could give zero stars I would, this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was a returning customer to this facility, but never again. We visited last July (same time of year) & everything was great. Upon our return we could not have had a worse experience. This hotel should be ashamed of the staff that they employ. Rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Being a tourist destination, hospitality should be the bare minimum and this place is a poor excuse. The staff hides in the back office instead of addressing the problems at hand. All employees also divert to Michael who was apparently management, but not available after multiple attempts of visiting the front desk. At our arrival there were bugs present in every bed. When I went to the office to report the bugs I was told these conditions are normal for Florida and there is nothing they could do except for send housekeeping in and “spray” the next day. I was told that infestations happen and maybe it won’t happen the next day... but there was no way for them to know. I was laughed at when confirmed by staff that their cleaning and spraying wouldn't fix the problem. The staff even stated that this is a common occurrence for their property and that nothing would be done. I was offered a $45 refund for “daily amenity fee” from their management- Michael. What a joke, we got the amenity of free bugs in our bed. When housekeeping was sent in, sheets were changed, but there were multiple bugs still present. When I addressed the problem again I was dismissed by the office staff, who proceeded to leave the front desk and sit in the back office unless he saw other customers enter on the camera. I was offered no refund or offer to change rooms. Please think twice before ruining your vacation and booking with such an atrocious establishment.

Brought family down here. Room was fine. Never cleaned. Had to ask for clean towels. Garbage never collected after 4 days of being here and the hand out states rooms are cleaned after 2nd night. Nope. No parking. The others here are frat kids. So the pool has discussions you may not want your children to experience. The breakfast is always yogurt, boiled eggs, apple and OJ, milk and almond milk. There is a coffee machine in the lobby. For what you pay, you may want to look elsewhere unless you are in a frat-party mood. It is not family friendly. If I could have given it a 1/2 star or a no star, I would. Mold growing in room?
Lisa M — Google review
Location wise it’s good, short distance from the ferry. Cleanliness and customer service not great. The room was fine at first until the bugs came out. They were everywhere on all four beds. Couldn’t sleep after that. Had to shake everything off and sleep in a hardwood chair by the wall, so uncomfortable! When we approached the concierge, they were well aware of the situation before we even said anything about it. Then they tried to take it back when we requested a refund. All they could do was waive the resort fee (about $40 only) for a $400 Presidential Suite room charge. Unacceptable!!! I would’ve gave zero stars but it wouldn’t allow me to!
Donna R — Google review
Cheap hotel should have less amenities but not be a ruin. Almost everything is either dirty or in state of decay. Some things like shower handle, or dirt on the bottom of the pool are so easy to fix, but probably management of this place does not care. Breakfast was an assortment of cheapest foods. Service was in accordance with the whole vibe, no clean towels, well, who cares? I do understand that key west is a tourist destination, but charging 100+ usd per room and offering a refuge shelter with a swimming pool is scam and shame.

Guests can enjoy the private beach and swimming pool. The hotel also provides bike rentals and high-speed internet access. Visitors have praised the friendly staff and clean rooms, although some mentioned issues with electrical outlets in the rooms.
Hotel greeters were so friendly and every time my sister and I came in we got a hello with big smiles. Room and bathroom was clean, with everything you would need. Cleaning service was available for your convenience. The bistro for breakfast was so comfortable with many choices. The staff Rosie, Stephanie and Cynthia at the bistro were so friendly. The Tiki Bar by the pool was a plus for drinks and lunch. Jeff and Kenny made sure we always had a cold drink. While your looking around it's like being in a tropical garden. Can't wait to visit again.

Pool area is nothing like I’ve ever seen at a courtyard before- gorgeous. And the little private beach cute too. Loved that every room had a balcony standard, HUGE plus. Rooms are renovated, but I think they forgot that bathrooms, they’re still in the 80s. Didn’t love that. Walls were also thin, but manageable with the TV on. I wish they spaced guest out more when the hotel is not full. Location is great for the price when there is no traffic/off season and you don’t mind a quick zip downtown. Read on bathrooms & just a little extra love on top of the already done renovations would make this hotel out of this world. Great budget-friendly hotel with a little wow you don’t normally get from a courtyard, but also underwhelming in some ways, especially after the advertised renovations to rooms. Free parking & no extra fees was also a huge plus.

I was very disappointed this time staying here, the carpet in the room and hallways were super dirty. The room didn’t have that same clean smell, when I stayed a year ago. The bathroom was not clean, the shower had some mold and the shower floor, wasn’t clean enough. The bed and towels were clean and smelled fresh. To me Marriott has been the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but not this time. If they would remove the carpet throughout the rooms and hallways, and put tiles like in building A, that would make it cleaner.

Thanks to Christine at the front desk, she was very helpful, competent. She could help us to make a choice as we decided to extend our stay in this wonderful hotel. Thanks again, it was really a pleasant stay. And I love the swimming pool !

Loved the pool. Boardwalk by the water is lovely, saw small fish, anemone, jellyfish. Verandah is great to sit out and enjoy the breeze and rain. It is on the main road and a straight drive down to the areas to visit and eat. Several lovely beach. Can walk. Room is comfy, we had the balcony with the water view. There are a couple handicapped parking spots in front.

Look elsewhere. First let me say that I generally love Marriott brands. I am invested in Marriott and stay at a lot of Marriott. The staff were friendly and professional … BUT, this Courtyard is very substandard. The room is actually very very dated and just tired. Super uncomfortable furniture from maybe the early 90’s or even 80’s. Carpet made me not want to walk around in bare feet, shower was probably cleaned but looked dirty from all the stained grout, several electrical outlets didn’t work, very dim lighting despite having all lights on … just everything about the room was uncomfortable, felt icky, and just not to a standard for a $375 per night Marriott branded property. Very disappointing. Glad we were only there one night. To end with some positive, the pool area is great. The lobby was well done, but the thing that matters most, the room, was just bad. Look for better options!

Room cost about $275. One night. The hotel is off the "strip" so you miss some of the madness, good and bad. At least your stuff is probably safe while you sleep. Hotel has a nice pool. The room was huge and slept 6 (2 on fold out couch). The breakfast food was not included and expensive by my standards. For a 1day in - next day out - key west experience hotel was perfect.

The Blue Marlin Motel is a modest accommodation with comfortable rooms, a refreshing outdoor pool, and convenient complimentary parking. The motel's namesake, the Blue Marlin, is an impressive gamefish known for its size and fighting spirit. Fishing enthusiasts can embark on deep-sea fishing expeditions to catch marlin and other offshore species like Tuna and Mahi Mahi.
**Great hotel in awesome part of Key West!** We stayed at the Blue Marlin Motel for six nights on our family vacation to Key West. This motel is clean, and staff are friendly. We loved the easy access to the pool from our room. Pool did run out of towels regularly thought out the day and we wished they offered a larger quantity to alleviate the issue. The motel offered a nice grab and go breakfast every day, which was a great way to save a little money on food costs. Our room was equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. The pool area was our favorite, though. We highly recommend the Blue Marlin Motel.

I stayed here for 2 nights with a few relatives. Upon arrival we had a heartwarming greeting at the front desk. The employee (sadly forgot the name) pointed everything of interest out to us and was very friendly. The room was clean, well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the wifi was very fast. We also enjoyed the large pool, which was right in the middle of the property. Lastly i'd line to mention the central location of the motel with walking distance to all popular sights in Key West. We had a really pleasant stay and will come back in the future!

The room was clean, updated, and surprisingly chic, exactly the kind of space that lulls you into thinking you’ve checked into something special. Nadia at check-in was warm and welcoming, pointing out the pool and breakfast. I thought I was in for a smooth stay. Then came breakfast: coffee, yogurt, and apples. When I asked if there was anything else, the attendant brought… more apples. Hardly the “good morning” I imagined. This was upsetting but I was willing to overlook this because there are lots of good eats nearby, so I go to check out and I politely ask if I can leave my car parked after check out only so we could get breakfast (which was not provided), the lady checking me out said “you can leave it here til 12” …it was 10:50… I said “can I leave here just til 1?” Then the other younger front desk lady says loudly “We are fully booked tonight and we need the parking”… I gave them a shocked look and the room fell silent for 30 seconds while they tried to dodge eye contact with me. I’ve worked at hotels and knew this was a bold faced lie. I said “really, on a Monday night?” They both started apologizing, both saying “I’m really sorry” while dodging any eye contact and twiddling their hands. I just walked out. I was totally willing and ready to accept “no” as an answer, but to lie to a customers face when they are asking a pretty common question is completely disrespectful, rude, and embarrassing. I will not be staying here again.

I had a room booked at this location, but had to cancel and was well within the timeframe for a refund. Friends of ours were also going to be staying at this property and canceled as well. When our friends called to cancel, the clerk who took their call said: “Just because Rob canceled doesn’t mean you have to too. Did your dog die too?” We were not obligated to provide them with a reason for our cancellation, and within their policy on cancellations. The fact that the I’ll-mannered clerk took it upon themselves to make such a comment fully validates the past reviews of this property and how the staff treats guests. It’s no wonder whybtuismace has a bunch of rooms available the week before Fantasy Fest. Take your money elsewhere and stay at a property where the.employees have some class.

Omg the lady at the front desk 😂😂😂 We actually stopped in the office on our way out on the town just to hang out with her! She really made our stay a fun experience! She REALLY needs a stage 😂 I would pay to see her again! The room was very clean. The pool was amazing. The continental breakfast was small but did the job (cream cheese for your bagel is in a small fridge with the yogurt) -- I did not realize this the first day 😂 Location was a lot for walking so I would recommend renting something with a motor 🛵

Hotel was clean no problems with room. The day we arrived we went to the pool late afternoon and on the deck of the pool was what looked I like dog 💩, it could have some other kind of animal but we reported it to the office . We were told that it has already been reported. Long story short it was still there 2 days later when we left! No excuse it should have been cleaned up the first time it was reported. Disappointing after the reviews for the place were good

Winslow's Bungalows, part of the Key West Historic Inns Collection, is a charming retreat located just two blocks from Duval Street. The property consists of multiple classic Key West-style cottages and former homes surrounded by lush tropical foliage. Each room is uniquely designed, offering a retro-chic decor that exudes a sense of history and elegance.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. A few days before our arrival, they called to thank me for my reservation and to see if I had any questions about the property. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door and both staff members in the office were so kind and accommodating. The path to our room was lined with ferns and beautiful landscaping, like walking into a tropical oasis. Our room was just beautiful, very clean and inviting. The bathroom and shower were just gorgeous, like a high end spa with soothing tiles and relaxing lighting. Each morning I was up before dawn and walked the quiet pathway lined with beautiful lighting and landscaping to the delicious coffee bar. I will always stay here when visiting Key West. My friends stayed at another hotel a few blocks away and I was sorry that they did not get to experience Winslow's.

We had a great stay at this property. The location was great for us to bum around Key West for a couple days. The staff was great, loved the 2 pools, and the breakfast was great! Rooms are a good size and the air conditioning was awesome. Everything was clean and well maintained that we saw. Would stay here again!
Amy L — Google review
We loved our stay here! The bungalow style set-up made it feel like our room had a private entrance and private pool since it was only shared with a few other rooms. We hardly saw another guest except when we went to breakfast or to the outdoor bar (which was just a quick walk. 150yds, maybe?). Everything was clean and fresh. Also just a couple blocks off of Duval, where lots of fun bars and restaurants are located, was perfect. We could hop back and forth without feeling like it was too long of a walk. We can't wait to stay here again. (Not pictured, the huge bathroom. It was great too!)
Valaria D — Google review
My uncles suggested this place, and it was great! The atmosphere is unbeatable with meandering paths to the pools, bar or private bungalows, and it's walking distance from the amazing restaurants and shopping of Mallory Square. The only drawback was in the small bathroom in our room. Although the shower was large, the sink area was not, and the shower door opened out instead of in, so my wife hit her elbow on the shower door multiple times before deciding to give up getting ready in the bathroom. This issue can easily be remedied by changing the shower door to open inward, as there is plenty of room in the shower. This will keep our ladies' elbow in tact! Great experience overall, and we'll be back the next time we're in Key West!

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful grounds, rooms and pools. Staff was excellent! So friendly, helpful and welcoming. Gave lots of suggestions and helpful. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE!! Very close to everything. The staff reserved bikes for us but we only used them once bc we were able to walk to everything. We will be returning and suggesting Winslow to everyone!

Will return! Pools both got great sun. A live musician played during mid morning. There’s a lovely lounging deck near the bar/breakfast area. A microwave, water and ice were available 24/7 in the breakfast area. The only change I’d make is upgrading to a larger room. #61 was a “Winslow room” and didn’t give much space, but it worked. We really enjoyed coming here

🌴 A hidden gem in Florida — unforgettable stay! 🌴 We stayed in one of the bungalows for three nights, and it was truly the best time we’ve had during our entire trip. Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at in Florida, this one was by far the best — nothing else even comes close. I found myself admiring this place every single minute. The atmosphere is calm, beautiful, and full of warmth. You can clearly see that the owners genuinely love what they do — everything is maintained with such care and pride. The entire property was spotless, the attention to detail was impressive, and the vibe was simply perfect. The guests were kind and respectful, creating a very pleasant and peaceful environment. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious — something new every morning, made with love and care. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a place to fall in love with. I left with unforgettable memories and already dream of coming back again and again. I highly recommend it to anyone considering — you won’t regret it! 💫
Yuliia Z — Google review
We had a room close to the main pool which is quite convenient. The little front yard gives the room privacy. The hotel spent a lot of money on the renovations but the AC units didn't break the bank. They are older, make a lot of noise and blow right onto the bed. I would strongly advise earplugs. Bathroom is poorly designed and somewhat claustrophobic. That said, the whole place is gorgeous, the mail pool incredible by Key West standards, the outdoor bar amazing. Breakfast could use some work, everything is clearly precooked and store bought from savory to sweet. Will we go back? Absolutely because despite what I mentioned, it remains one of the best hotels in Key West.

Google is misleading. This is in no way a 4 star hotel. It is close to Duval st and offers free parking. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They deserve 4 stars ! The surroundings are rather quiet which is nice. The small pool is clean and the equipment fairly comfortable. The rooms however are not particularly comfortable. They are spacious but the beds were not comfy, the furniture seemed a bit old and the AC was much too noisy to have a good nights sleep. The breakfast area is very small, breakfast runs for only 2 hrs and it is pretty basic, little to no change in the menu. They do have an omelet stand though which was a plus. Overall I would recommend it, it’s situation is ideal and free covered parking is a major asset. It is also cheaper than many other hotels. It’s just that you should not expect the 4 stars Google claims the hotel is.

I recently had a business meeting in Key West. I made my reservation based on location and price. I was pleasently surprised by both. This boutique hotel is a gem. Just off Duval St yet close enough to walk. Covered parking is a luxury most hotels do not have. I highly recommend checking this hotel out if you are planning a trip to Key West.

Southwinds Motel is a charming and comfortable budget-friendly accommodation located in Key West, just a short walk from Duval Street and the southernmost point. The motel offers clean and cozy rooms, three outdoor pools, complimentary breakfast, and Wi-Fi. It's suitable for solo travelers or families on a budget. The location is convenient with various amenities nearby such as a liquor store, bar, ice cream shop, and food trucks.
First time staying in Key West and I LOVED Southwinds Motel! The staff here was so friendly and made check-in easy, they even gave us an umbrella when the storm started during check in. The location is great. Not in the hustle and bustle, but close enough. : ) For folks who want to Uber, it was cheaper than parking in a lot of spots, and we never waited more than 30 seconds for one. The room was nice and clean, and the shower was huge. : ) Big recommend!!

Highly recommend. This motel is a little long in the tooth but is very clean. Good location on the more quiet side of the island. Nice bar/liquor store with live music on premises. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side being an older property......would not be good if you are a larger person. Breakfast is provided with several food and drink options. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Two pools that were never busy during our stay (June). Plenty of parking if you have a car.

We stayed at Southwinds for 2 nights. The location was perfect. Off the craziness of Duval Street but still close enough to everything to where the walk isn’t bad. We had a King room right off of Simonton street. It was fun to sit out on the porch and people watch, or hear the band playing at night. Small little updates could be done in the room but overall we had a wonderful stay.

A great location, amazing staff, and average rooms. This is a great choice for a lower-cost hotel. The rooms are adequate, nicely decorated with a refrigerator and coffee machine. This location excels in service, location, and the Key West vibe. With an onsite pool, beach access, an outdoor bar, and a coffee truck, this makes it a great choice for a trip to the Keys.

We arrived in Key West early in the morning and stopped by the hotel to ask if we could park our car while we explored the area before check-in. The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating—not only did she allow us to park, but she also checked us in early at no extra charge, upgraded us to a king room, and even offered us breakfast. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everything about our stay was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Key West!

We stayed on the fourth of July. The room is simple. My favorite thing about the room is the HOT water in the shower, but there was not much room in front of the toilet (less than a foot!) making it challenging to use without sitting sideways! The breakfast is a grab and go of muffins, pastries, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, and drinks. The air conditioner was very loud so I wasn't able to sleep much. We were able to rig the vibration piece with some folded paper, which helped, but it was really frustrating after losing an entire night's sleep. A second component to my sleep difficulties was the bright lights shining into the window. I need a dark room and there are not any darkening shades on the windows. On a positive note the parking lot was well lit. The seaweed smelled horrendous, and the air conditioner sucks outside air in... overnight, our room would begin to smell like sewage until around lunchtime. Bring air freshener to spray! The proximity to the southernmost point and Higgs was great. They provide free chairs and umbrellas at Southern Most Cafe Beach from 9 to 5, but the beach was covered in seaweed to the point that it was inaccessible. The deli across the street was delicious and so convenient. The Tipsy Rooster bar was a great place to hang out, enjoy drinks, and listen to great music!

Coconut Mallory Resort And Marina By Kees Vacations is a waterfront resort in Key West, offering casual condos with kitchen facilities and balconies. The property features two pools, a marina, free self-parking, an outdoor swimming pool, and a picnic area. It's conveniently located near Key West attractions such as the Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and Sheriff's Animal Farm. Guests have praised the spacious townhouse accommodations with full kitchens and balconies where smoking is permitted.
Cute small place to stay in Key West. The kitchens are well equipped with utensils, seasonings, etc. There's a pool, hot tub, grill, and laundry machines. I really only took points off of location because it is REALLY awkward to get in and park. It's very tight and we accidentally went in the first two entrances before we found the actual entrance. Other than that it's nice though. Friendly chickens too.

Nice place to stay. Close to a very nice beach. Two nice pools. Everything was good except one day during our stay while we were getting ready. The water was turned off without telling us. We couldn't take showers. Had to use bottle waters to brush our teeth. I'm not sure how long the water was off. That, of course, was the one day we had something to do at a certain time. It was back on that evening when we got back.
Leslie P — Google review
Terrible experience. Our room was 85 degrees because the A/C didn’t work, so we did not sleep well. We were told breakfast would be available on Tues/Thurs, but it wasn’t. One night the fire alarm went off and we had to stand outside for an hour. (I am the who had to call 911 since alarms were going off for over 5min). The next morning, a family member got stuck in the elevator for 25 minutes! Maintenance was very persistent and told us to NOT call 911 even though he has a heart condition. We requested a lower-level room due to physical disabilities and were still put on the 3rd floor. Only positives: location was good (about 2 miles from downtown), parking was fine, and the pools were decent. Everything else was a a huge disappointment. We would not stay here again.

This is a nice, renovated older hotel that has large rooms and a large walk-in shower. I enjoyed our small patio. The option of an omelet with the included breakfast is wonderful. The small pool has a waterfall, which is a fun option. My only issue is that kids take over the pool a lot. The grounds, cleaning and office staff were wonderful.

0 WORST PLACE EVER! DON'T BOOK. Manager is rude and literally yelling over the phone to nice front desk worker. The place was filthy. So many signs on this place we felt it was over kill and childish. Manager broke ADA laws too by refusing to give us keys because of my certified registered trained documented service dogs. We had given notice when we booked months ahead and she waited til day before check in to EMAIL, not call, to refuse dogs. We were already on the road! Then wants $500 to have them there so no dogs policy just goes away for money? Then we check in to filth. Pictures show all. The pool area was useless after sundown due to way too bright spot light too. YOU ARE WARNED, DON'T BOOK HERE!

Coconut Mallory was the BEST experience ever. Got there after hours, had our envelope waiting for us not only with the keys but with a note detailing all of our needs. Thanks so much Dave Smith & Jenny Eppy, my daughters 21st birthday vacation trip was beyond fantastic. The area by the office super tropical, cozy and colorful. This place is a hidden gem, the apartment felt like being at home, everything clean, all neat & comfortable. The common area was fabulous. We had a bbq right by our room super clean with gas & all. Enjoyed some burgers in the grill one of the afternoons. The pools super clean even had noodles & floaties, the hammock by the pool & the awesome bbq sitting area very colorful. A home away from home & life memories, thanks again David Smith & Jenny Eppy from our family 🙏

We stayed at Coconut Mallory March 30 to April 4 2025. It was a pleasant stay. We loved our room, the space, and the location. I want to rate this higher but I cant for a few key reasons. The air didn't go upstairs very well which made it pretty hot to sleep, even with fans. The coffee pot and toaster were broken and our wifi was not working. My biggest complaint is the room next to us was a smoking room and it's all I could smell as a former smoker, not an awesome experience. Otherwise, overall great place to stay and Id definitely stay again.

This resort was a transfer from another timeshare that my husband owns. Upon arrival at resort we were told that it would cost another 300.00 to stay at this resort. $150.00 for parking and another $140.00 for resort fees. We had flown from Massachusetts to Ft. Lauderdale and drove to the Keys so we did not have much choice but to pay this. Just saying it would have been nice if the resort had made this transparent. We alraedy pay maintenance fees and whatnot for existing timeshare. Water pressure surely left something to be desired and plumbing was broken on some fixtures. The resort also stated that they do not do towel exchange so what are the resort fees for?????

Let me preface this review by saying that we enjoyed our stay and this review has nothing to do with any problems with service. We stayed in the detached suite building. Room was beautiful, cool and updated. The grounds and surrounding area is gorgeous. Location was within walking distance to downtown/activities. However, the outside of this hotel is in bad disrepair. Needs a major renovation on the exterior. Also the staff was using loud construction equipment right outside our door. There must have been a wedding booked, because they were building a trellis of some kind. We walked by power tools, cords and woodpiles. That is really our only complaint. Main house was rich in history and beautiful inside. Wonderful staff and service and the complimentary breakfast was perfect for us. Pool was heaven!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife and I stayed at the Southernmost House for our anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect! The property is right on the water with the most amazing views—such a relaxing place to unwind and soak in the Key West vibe. The house itself is stunning, full of history, and so well cared for. On top of that, the staff are amazing—you truly feel right at home from Dean at the front of house to Alex the Manager. Their hospitality is top-notch and made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to come back again!

Absolutely loved this place! We hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my brother and rented out the entire property for the weekend. The service was truly exceptional - the staff made it feel like our own home. They went above and beyond, helping us place gift bags in each room and decorating the house for the celebration. We spent the day by the pool and had the main party in the afternoon/evening. We set up a tent and stage for a few bands, and the whole setup was gorgeous - plenty of space for our 60+ guests, right on the water. The staff were incredibly accommodating, letting us bring in coolers for drinks and catering from local restaurants. Everyone had an amazing time in such a beautiful setting. I can’t recommend Southernmost House enough for private parties, weddings, or any special event. Huge thanks to the entire team for an unforgettable weekend!

This place has everything you need for a perfect trip to Key West. We just returned from our honeymoon and we would go back in a heartbeat. The location is perfectly located near Old Town, right at the end of Duval. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our trip was special. Elio had our room decked out with champange and roses when we arrived and gave us countless recommendations for food and things to do. We also loved the bar and cafe located at the resort. The lobster pizza was delicious. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious with fresh local baked goods. The pool is by far the best pool on the island. Clean, beautiful view of the ocean, and the occasional chicken and iguana crossing. We cannot wait to book our next trip back to this resort!

Why 3 Star, because it’s rates a 3 star property, just a really expensive 3 star. You’re paying for location, pool and damn good pastries. We’re staying here right now (Night 1 of 3), We got moved from a King size partial Ocean View to a Bungalow. We were not told our upgrade was a Queen (pretty lame lack of communication tbh). Our first impression of the Bungalow was not great. The door barely shuts, the lights out avice the door and it barely locks. It has a dated kitchen and lack of detailed cleaning; think dirty old vents and build up on the vents. Not sure about this place tho. Hoping to be charmed by breakfast. Update Day 3 of 3. We decided to stay and not move, due to the fact we’re lazy, and we like the pool and quiet end of Duval. That said we did worry that we had a mold or mildew on our ceiling, the wash cloth holder comes off the wall. Get the picture? A lot of stuff like that. All in all a cool place just seems dumpy compared to nearby properties and other places we’ve stayed.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The staff are the most helpful I’ve ever experienced. The location is great, bed is comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. If you come to Key West, I’d urge you to stay here if you can.

Nestled in a lush landscape, The Paradise Inn is an enchanting adults-only retreat that truly lives up to its name. With beautifully landscaped gardens and the charm of tropical turtles wandering about, this inn offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each of the eighteen airy rooms and suites is designed with a soothing cream-and-white palette, equipped with modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, fridges, microwaves, and coffee facilities for your convenience.
I’m a bit surprised that it only has a 4.2 rating on Google. We absolutely loved our stay! Every aspect of the hotel was meticulously detailed and well-thought-out. It was a beautiful and clean place, and the pool was surrounded by nature. They even had good toilet paper, which is always a plus! (I hate when hotels use the cheapest toilet paper.) The only thing I wish they had was scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. But aside from that, it was a 10/10 experience.

The Paradise Inn is an amazing little hidden gem. There's a windy brick walkway to each building which includes around 6-8 rooms. Our specific room had a living suite along with a king bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was so nice to have the extra living space to chill on a couch mid-day. Ceiling fans and the air works great! We also had a patio area off the bedroom... Nice and spacious, but it was very hot while we were in town so we didn't utilize it much. Also two little seats outside the "front" door. We rented bikes from the front desk which is very convenient. There is gated parking, but it doesn't seem like there would be enough spaces if everyone drove. We flew in and didn't have a car. The pool area is clean and tropical and lush, very Key West. There is a bathroom at the pool that is air conditioned and clean. We would 💯 stay here again!

Great location! Close to Duval, but far away enough away that you don't hear the noise from the bars at night. This was our first trip to the Keys. The hotel is quaint. The rooms offered us comfortable accommodations. Cool a/c with comfortable beds. The room looked like it had been recently remodeled. Just keep in mind that Key West itself is older so you will experience an authentic stay. The bathroom door was badly warped ( you almost had to kick the door to close it). And in various places on the bathroom wall were spots or dirt marks. I found the soap dispensers in the shower very annoying as when pressed hardly anything came out. The floor could have used a better cleaning, but these few things mentioned were minor and I would still return to stay again if we got a good rate on the room. The pool area was very inviting with a hot tub. One of the nights it was just nice to come back from walking all day and take a relaxing dip in the pool. The breakfast bar provided a good start for the day with a nice assortment of breakfast items. The waffles were really good! They also have a coffee machine that was available through out the day. There is also another area for parking and bike rentals are available. One of the best parts of our visit was the customer service that Irene provided, she was wonderful and very helpful!!

Have stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time was a very different story. Booked the Gumbo limbo cottage and truly looked forward to it. After being out the 1st day we came back to the cottage and saw our feet were filthy. I had sneakers and socks so found that odd. The next morning after showering I used the small towel to “walk” on. Lo and behold it was filthy. I wore socks the remainder of the 4 days and they are now black on the bottom. Floors obviously are not mopped, or even swept. Pulled the bed away to plug in a charger and so much dust and even some old key cards on floor. We both have short hair yet there were long dark strands all over so sweeping isn’t a routine either apparently. There is also a moldy/musty/sewage type of smell that lingers HEAVY, especially when entering from the outside. The beds are also not exactly comfortable…… I didn’t feel the staff was friendly either. We also had been authorized for a noon check out but at 1145 a man was banging on the door. Wanted to know if everything was all right. I said we had noon checkout and he said it was 11. No communication among staff. Also planned on a relaxing last morning before a long travel day but the roof was being replaced so there was banging and hammering starting early (8ish), again with no communication that this would be the case. Obviously roofers are scheduled and don’t just show up - we should have been alerted. Fortunately there were two doors because all the roofing debris was a hazard leaving the through the main door. I love Key West but will never stay here again!

My fiance and I had a lovely stay at the Paradise Inn in Key West! We will most definitely be back. We stayed in a king full premium suite, and it was perfect for us. The room was very clean and quiet, and right by the pool. Very comfortable bed and the overall look of the suite was beautiful. We loved that the hotel was adults only and had a very private setup. The daily breakfast offerings were good (bagels, toast, fruit, cereal, fresh waffles, etc.) and we enjoyed the wine & cheese daily happy hour as well. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a block off of Duval Street, so everything is in easy walking distance but without having to deal with the noise and craziness of staying right on Duval itself. The #14 stop on the Duval Loop bus is just a few steps outside the hotel entrance, so you have an easy and cheap alternative for transportation easily accessible too. We drove from Miami, so we had a rental car and were able to park it on the grounds, but we did not use it at all during our stay. I highly recommend the Paradise Inn if you're looking for a charming hotel with a relaxing vibe, with quick access to all of the other fun Key West has to offer.

Just a street over from Duval and about midway from both south and north end. So if you plan to walk it's a great, clean spot to stay! We enjoyed the pool that's tended to daily. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with decent selections including Starbucks vending option. Our first room had a balcony overlooking the side street but still privacy from the trees and our second room had its own deck and table area and patio doors to walk out onto. Also, spacious. Front desk gave us some complimentary bottles of water for our hot hot stay and happy hour, crackers, cheese, nuts and wine, which we appreciated the small extras.

Amazing!! The grounds are gorgeous and as close as you are to everything - you feel like you’re in a private oasis. The room was huge, very clean and super quiet. They have happy hour which they extend sometimes! That was a nice surprise! The pool, hot tub and private tables on the property are amazing. As a recent widow, one thing I hadn’t considered was lugging my suitcase up the stairs. The property has the perfect blend of old school/ old town with super modern amenities. Although there are not elevators. I checked in I was in a panic about getting my huge suitcase up the stairs. The woman at the front desk- was simply amazing and so helpful. She was able to put me in a first floor room. Worked out perfectly. She called me a few hours after check in and let me know she had the keys to my rental car. I would have been in a complete panic. Thank you to the staff, especially the woman who checked me in. I know her name isn’t Maria, that what I thought she said, I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name- I would give her a thousand stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property offers airy rooms and suites surrounded by tropical gardens, featuring a pool and a weekend happy hour for guests to unwind. Despite its proximity to the lively Duval Street, the historic hotel provides a tranquil atmosphere suitable for relaxation or romantic getaways.
We had a great experience here. The staff were very nice and helpful. There are friendly cats on the premises. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing with trees and plants everywhere and a nice pool. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed. The location is great and was within walking distance of most of the attractions we wanted to see. We were also able to rent bikes at the hotel for an hourly fee. While there is no on site parking, we were able to find free parking a few blocks away.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Plenty of free street parking within several blocks of the hotel. This hotel is one block from Duval st. smack dab in the middle. We decided to do a sunset cruise, this was only a 5-10 minute walk. The staff was super friendly, clean room , nice pool area. The next day we had breakfast at the hotel, one of the best included breakfasts I’ve ever had. Make a croissant sandwich you won’t regret it. Everyone at this hotel made us feel very welcome.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We drove over from Fort Myers and didn’t arrive until after the front desk had left for the day. They had clear instructions for check in and we found our room no problem at all. That was super convenient. Our room was perfect. So clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a good selection and loved the sitting area. We mingled with other guests and plenty of seating. The staff are hands down my favorite including the orange house kitty. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and made sure to acknowledge you. They are genuinely happy you are there. We always come down for the week of my birthday and this was our first time staying here and we will absolutely be booking here again. Thank you to our new friends for a wonderful birthday getaway.

Four of us came in on motorcycles. We were very happy to find this little Gem. The rooms were quiet and cozy and we enjoyed our one night stay while in key west. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was nice, with assorted fresh fruits, or oatmeal and sliced ham & cheese croissant. The coffee bar hot & fresh. We enjoyed our first cup on the patio together. We were offered to park the motorcycles under a sunshade behind the gate. Zero worries. Everyone was so pleasant & friendly. The botanical feel gardens are beautiful.

Perfectly located on Simonton Street, Heron House is a wonderful oasis in Key West. You would have no idea how idyllic this hotel is, you need to explore behind. Our room was so comfortable, in a colonial style. Cool and welcoming in the blazing August heat. We just wish we had longer to appreciate the loveliness of the facilities. A wonderful continental breakfast awaits you through a doorway, in a sparkling, spotlessly clean room which has everything you would need to set you up for the day. Highly recommend a luxurious stay at the amazing Royal Sonesta NOLA.

This place is a beautiful place smack dab in the middle of KW. Just around the block from Duval. The grounds are well taken care of and so are the rooms. The only things I would have to note otherwise is out of the two gentlemen I interacted with one was absolutely fabulous while the other one was a bit rude. Also the rooms are great except in my room the shower was super tiny but I'm not sure if it was just my room or not. FYI the rooftop is clothing optional LOL just so you know! The breakfast was also worth the stay... they had a good selection and it was nice not having to buy breakfast every day. All in all I would definitely stay here again!

This place is beautiful and our room was amazing. Even the linens and towels were comfortable. Cute pool and we loved the coffee shack and continental breakfast. The guy who checked us in was very kind and we felt very welcome during our stay. We even made friends with a few kitties on the property.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to downtown, so you can easily explore all the restaurants, shops, and nightlife without needing a car. For Key West, the rooms are also very affordable, which makes this place an even better find. We have stayed here many times and recommend it to anyone visiting!

Nestled in the heart of Key West's historical district, Westwinds Inn is a charming Victorian-style hotel offering bright and comfortable accommodations. The inn boasts two outdoor swimming pools, lush tropical gardens, and a library for guests to enjoy. While the rooms may have older AC units, they are kept refreshingly cold and are meticulously maintained by the daily turnover service. The location is quiet yet within walking distance of popular attractions like Duval Street and beautiful beaches.
We love this place. The location is outstanding. The grounds and service are outstanding. We agree with pretty much what other 4/5 and 5/5 reviewers have written. The room is a bit tight but works well for its limited space. A/C and ceiling fan are perfect and adjust for how you want it at any time of day or night. Dehumidifier in the room is a fantastic idea. You just need to empty it 3 times a day for optimal comfort. Water pressure in the sink is weak but I used the bathtub spigot to clean my razor blade. The bathroom mirror adjusts for my 6 foot height. These minor things are dwarfed by the huge positives. Buffet breakfast is limited but excellent for what is provided. 20% discount for bike rentals next door. We will definitely return hopefully every year. Great for people who like a cool Key West style guesthouse, heated pool and landscaping. Not for people who expect a large fancy bedroom and bath. Such might prefer the pier house for twice the cost. Btw, the hotel bath products are primo. Works for our understated lifestyle. Budget luxury class.

We stayed here for two nights on our trip to Key West and I have not ONE negative thing about the place. The rooms were clean and perfectly sized (we had a king suite for two). Two pools with one heated and despite all the guests using them they were never crazy busy or crowded. All the rooms are very close to both pools and breakfast. Served a light breakfast everyday which is perfect with how expensive everything is. All in all very pleased and we will absolutely be back!

Westwinds is an excellent living area. I’ve seen some people try and trash talk them (of course) because not every place meets the standards of high maintenance tenants.. it’s everywhere. There will always be those people. There will always be crime where people live, their will always be unhappiness by people who don’t get their ways or can take accountability for their own actions. All and all,it is a good place to live. The management go above and beyond to provide safe clean and a stable living environment to their tenants. Maintenance is top notch. There at the snap of a finger. These people live and breath this property. They have committed theirselves to the best service they can provide. Don’t let the words of a few disgruntled people push you away. You never know what they may have done to become so bitter? 😊👍 5 star, highly recommend

We enjoyed a nice stay at Westwinds with our most recent stay in Key West. The staff is friendly and the property was in great shape. A huge bonus (especially on this cooler than normal trip) was the amazing heated pool! Even though it’s a couple blocks off Duval it’s still easily accessible with a quick walk or short bike ride. Also, check out the amazing bakery next door (their breakfast sandwich is crazy good).

We travel to Key West a couple of times a year and stayed at Westwinds once because of a last minute planning snafu and needed somewhere for just a couple of days. The location is good if you plan to go to the boardwalk or marina for boating activities. The hotel was cute, nicely maintained and clean. Our room was ultra small, but we don’t know if all the rooms are that tiny. This is probably the only place we’ve stayed that had a laundry facility. We met some other couples at the pool who had mixed experiences at Westwinds.

Stayed many places in key west and this was my favorite. Extremely close to the marina where cuban coffee queen, pepes, and half shell are. Close to the duval loop bus stops. The hotel grounds were very clean, an incredible staff, and very comfortable beds. I 100% will be back.

We just got back from the weekend at this hotel and I hate to say this but we were extremely disappointed. We booked a suite but it was just a room with an extra room attached to it nothing special the bathroom was so tiny that the door hit your knees when you sat on the toilet my husband did not even fit in the bathroom the bathroom was so tiny that the sink and mirror were in the bedroom which I don't care for. The floors were ripped up and extremely old they needed to be redone the furniture was old and literally had a piece of tape on it and none of the windows opened in the room. The pillows in the room look like they came from the dollar store and we're extremely old at least by pretty pillows if you can't afford to redo the hotel.. we went by the pool to use the towels and they smelled like cigarettes. The grounds were extremely old there was giant cracks by the pool in the ground the pool was dirty the fountain going into the pool was so dirty this whole entire place needs a makeover we spent over $1,000 staying here..not worth it!!! I would give this hotel one star I don't really know what everybody is talking about when they say it's wonderful because it's not and if you go there you'll see what I'm talking about the breakfast was also not great the coffee wasn't good and there was just cereal and a couple of muffins I've stayed at another place where they make waffles bacon juices ... the other thing is it's on a very busy two lane Street and if you know Key West it's very quaint and beautiful and quiet in the town and I like to stay on a quiet street but this was not quiet you could barely even pull out of the place parking is also a nightmare in the parking lot is $50 a night that is down the street from this hotel the only good thing about it was they let us Park our golf cart there so we didn't have to look for a spot every nigh. Would I stay at this hotel again absolutely not there are so many other beautiful places to stay and I honestly do not know how anybody gave this five stars maybe they like tape on the furniture ripped up floors and run down buildings I don't know?

My husband and I came to West winds for our first key west trip to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for more. The West Winds grounds are just a hidden gem. If you are looking for modern, new style rooms, this isn’t it. The rooms are older, old AC units but don’t give up there! The rooms are kept COLD if you like. The DAILY turnover service is incredible and the bed is comfortable. The grounds of the inn are just magical and so well taken care of. Two pools, one heated. There is a continental breakfast in the cutest spot, poolside. Nothing fancy but just enough to give you the morning snack and a cup of coffee. Perfect!! On the corner there is a bakery with delicious options and then on the other corner is the bike rentals. Don’t be turned off by the parking. My husband I were there 6 days and moved the car a few times and NEVER had an issue finding another spot! I could go on forever! This place was perfect and we can’t wait to come back ❤️

We had a standard room which was pretty small but the property is very quaint. There are nice little places to sit and relax. Tamara at the front desk is absolutely wonderful. It is so nice to see old school customer service is not dead. The location is great. You can walk to most attractions in 20 to 25 minutes.

We loved staying at Authors Guesthouse! The location is perfect for riding our bikes around the island. The rooms were very clean and the perfect size, and the hot tub was wonderful! Tamara went above and beyond during our checkout in the POURING rain by letting us borrow towels and taking us to our Uber with an umbrella. Additionally, we were having a hard time communicating to our Uber driver so Tamara got on the phone and spoke with French AND Spanish to our Uber drive to get him to a ‘less wet’ pick up spot. She was incredible. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast was just perfect. The right amount of food and options. Would happily stay here again.

This merchant has EXTREMELY LIMITED HOURS office hours and you cannot reach anyone after their office closes at 5:30pm eastern, 4:30 central and 2:30 pacific time. If you have any problems, questions or need assistance of any kind after 5:30 pm that's too bad and you're out of luck...PERIOD. You are totally on your own and they do not care. This accommodation does not make anyone available to help you. My husband and I could not find the guesthouse, based on the information provided by Expedia, when we arrived after 5:30 pm. We could not get assistance with directions, something so basic as locating the guesthouse. As a result, we had to find another accommodation online on the side of the road in our car because no one would answer the phone they provided in our confirmation. Despite knowing this, the merchant charged us for the night stay anyway. This merchant is Very dishonest and unwilling to provide the minimum customer service expectation of answering phone calls from booked customers even if there is no office attendant after 5:30pm. Customers need assistance after 5:30pm when spending the evening at your location. If I could give them zero stars I would.

The accommodations come equipped with private bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, microwaves, refrigerators, and satellite television. Clean and well equipped rooms. Only set back was that after 3 days we had a dumpster inside the room because we never got room service or had anyone ask if we wanted it. Since our unit was across the street it wasn’t like we could saunter over to the reception to request it. However it was nice, clean and cool. The best part was the location, just a block up from all the action on Duval St.

This was our second trip to this location. It’s perfect for walking everywhere in key west. It’s not a luxury resort but clean and well maintained older buildings. The toilet was very low and bed was not very comfortable but we were only here 3 nights. Breakfast is a decent selection of foods. Parking is a challenge so if you find a spot don’t move. We were on second floor so you need to be able to do stairs and carry luggage up. Homes in the area are lovely older homes and I felt safe there.

Very upset to be charged $200+ for food stains on the bedsheets and “leaving too much trash in the room” — which we put all into ONE corner at checkout. These people are not ethical. I will never recommend anyone to stay here. There was not one day at all where they came to do housekeeping. Especially with them not contacting me about the food stains. The sheets literally could have been washed but instead they want to steal money from me. They are saying we left too much garbage behind. When they never came to clean the room nor were there any trash cans on the property for us to dispose of the trash. They will be hearing from my lawyer. Thanks Ambrosia Key West

"A Memorable Stay... Whether You Like It or Not" Ah, Ambrosia Key West – where the past meets the present, and neither one seems to be working quite right. Let’s start with the positives, because I’m a glass-half-full kind of person (even if the glass is cracked and leaking): 🏝️ The location? Perfect. 👩‍💼 The staff? Lovely, warm, and clearly doing their best to keep this historic house standing. 🏛️ The building? Unique and full of character – the kind of place where every creak tells a story, and every room has a ghost of functionality past. 🍳 Breakfast? Available early and every day, which was great because sleep wasn’t really an option (more on that later). Now, for the charming quirks: 📺 The TV didn’t work, which was fine because the fan only worked with the light on – who needs Netflix when you can experience 1920s sweat lodge vibes? 🔌 Electrical outlets were a fun little scavenger hunt – like an escape room, but your reward is being able to charge one thing overnight. 🚿 The shower had a personality. It screamed in protest every time I used it, much like I did when I realized the bathroom A/C got weaker by the day. 🔥 And who could forget the fire alarm that went off at 1:30 AM on my birthday? Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like sprinting out of bed to the soothing shriek of impending doom. Bonus: they removed the alarm after that and never replaced it – apparently fire safety is optional once you've celebrated another year. Would I stay here again? Maybe. It’s hard to resist the allure of historical charm and spontaneous fire drills. Just bring a power strip, earplugs, and maybe a cake for emotional support.

Spacious, clean room with a comfortable King bed. Huge walk-in shower with immediate hot water. We rented #4, the "Jungle Room" for a week. There was a private patio outside our door with a large, warm spa just steps away. We paid the 25 dollar daily parking fee for a spot right outside our room. Very much worth the extra cost. A very tasty and hot breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, etc saved us about 40 dollars a day. Fantastic location, too. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location! We opted for one night and wish we’d booked at least two! Alexis is the perfect hostess, greeting us with hugs and showing us to our room. She upgraded us to a beautiful room on the first floor with its own fenced entrance. We took a dip in the pool after walking around town and getting ice cream before dinner. The room was clean, fresh, and everything about the Coco Plum Inn is lovely and comfortable, plus it’s next to The Green Parrot, known for its live music. While we didn’t go, because we were exhausted, we listened to a lively game of Bingo from the porch.

We came here in July for our honeymoon/babymoon. I was 6, almost 7 months pregnant during our stay, and let me tell you it was probably the most comfortable, peaceful and beautiful place we’ve ever stayed at before. We were right next to our favorite bar the Green Parrot, we even got the best room closest to the bar! My husband was able to go get a few beers while I napped in the afternoon but still close enough to check in. We swam in the pool every night we were there. The property is so well kept we never wanted to leave. Alexis at the front desk was another huge highlight of the trip. Not only was she a wonderful hostess, I feel like I gained a new friend! She made sure we were taken care of and addressed all my concerns before the trip. She is a gem of a person and next year when we come visit (not stay there because they are child free which was another nice bonus haha) we are making a special trip just to say hello to her. If you’re looking for a place to stay, trust me this is it. Can’t wait to return someday!!! 🩷🦩

Plus the room was nice and relaxing to come back to for a midday nap! If we come back to town, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great trip!

Wonderful bed and breakfast in the heart of Key West. A charming old bordello next to a bar, built when Hemingway roamed the streets. Hardwood floors, big windows, high ceilings, and all the history of old Key West. The room (#5) on the second floor was accessible by stairs and faced Whitehead Street. It features a king bed and large walk in shower. The room has lots of natural light. It is right next to Green Parrot which features live music until midnight so if you are a light sleeper, take note. Breakfast is provided and that was a special treat. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Coco Plum Inn early September! Great location. Comfy clean rooms. Delicious breakfast and the most friendly, kind, helpful staff! I will definitely book with them in the future!

Room was cozy and clean!! Breakfast was so yummy! Each morning it was something different and made fresh! Perfect location to everything! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!

Small Inn/Hotel with charm. Clean rooms with cold a/c. Pool was very nice. Staff very friendly. Great location one block off of Duval. Definitely a place I'll stay at again.

Stayed at Coco Plum for our honeymoon and now again 10 years later for our anniversary. The breakfast is good, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice and clean. The location is perfect to walk to most everything. We'll definitely be back again!

Guest house
Casa 325 is a relaxed guesthouse located in the heart of Old Town, offering a pool and rooms with hardwood floors. With 11 unique guest rooms, ranging from studios to two-level suites, it's an ideal choice for couples, singles, and families. The stunning outdoor pool is a highlight for many visitors, and the free concierge service can help organize Key West experiences such as dolphin-watching cruises and ghost tours.
A clean, simple place to stay, in the middle of all the Duval Street action! We stayed 4 nights at Casa 325 during the Key West Songwriters Festival and wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Our room was cleaned daily, and had enough amenities (microwave, fridge, dishes, glasses) to make for a very comfortable stay. We were in the back building, on the second floor (room 9) and had a shared deck overlooking the small pool area. The pool area was simple and small but was a perfect place to take a break from the heat and the action out on Duval. They mentioned they are starting construction soon, looking forward to seeing the changes next time we are in town. If you are looking for a simple, comfortable stay near all the action of Old Town Key West - Casa 325 is the place to be!

Recently stayed here after having friends stay. Staff were great. You can't beat the location and has onsite parking but only for mid sized vehicles as the Lakeway to the back off Duval is tight. Mirrors in. Pool area was clean and refreshing after walking around. Room was ok and could use some up dating in the bathroom and kitchenette area. Ceiling was all dusty from the ceiling fans. As I said the room needed some updating New owners as of Dec 2033. No one asked how our stay was when we checked out. I guess it doesn't matter as it'll get booked as it's located right in the middle of the action on Duval (beside the Hard Rock) Overall a good experience

Delightful place to stay! In the middle of the action but far enough from the big bars to get a good night sleep. Room was clean and well stocked with a little kitchenette that had just enough stuff to service breakfast snacks or a late night key lime pie. Shower had great water pressure. Beds were fairly comfy, spring mattresses, but sturdy. A/C runs nice and cold and there were plenty of outlets. Staff were very nice and let us leave our luggage for a bit until our flight left.

Rooms were nice, and came with all the amenities you could want. Pool is heated, so even though it was 70 and windy during my stay, you could still enjoy some relaxation at the pool. The hammock in the back is a very nice additional, and a great place for an afternoon nap. Location is great as well. Very close to the action without being in the middle of it. Only a couple blocks from Sloppy Joes.

It's a budget location with minimum furnishing. That's not our complain, we understood that coming in. The place seem clean at first, but by the middle of our trip we start to notice bite marks on us but just chalked it up as mosquito bites. But we noticed that bites different and some in area not exposed to mosquitos. It dawn on us that those were bed bug bite marks. Now that we're home and the marks are continuing to show up meaning they traveled with us home. We're in the process of spends hundreds if not thousands of dollars to treat it. We're only thankful that our daughter didn't get attacked. We also saw a cockroach crawling across the kitchen table. I can not honestly recommend this place.

Perfect location on Duval but hidden away down a long driveway so it's not loud. The driveway is narrow and can fit sedans but nothing wider than a Jeep (a jeep was parked in the lot so I know they can fit). You have to reserve a spot in advance. Rooms were spacious and clean with private outside entrances. There is a pool with lounge chairs and towels in the front office. Staff was nice. Great value. Would recommend and stay again.

My family and I went down the second week of August and loved staying here! So close to all right on Duval. Staff was wonderful, accommodating and warm. Place was squeaky clean and well maintained. I left my watch and when I called to retrieve it, I had zero problems! They kept it safe until I sent UPS to pick it up and ship it back to NY for me. I would stay here again hands down

We LOVED our stay here. It was clean and bright with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The gate entrance comes out on Duval street right by Hard Rock so you are in the middle of every thing. The pool was perfect to relax in, it has a seat in the water along the side so it was nice to watch the kids play as we sat. It was quiet and well kept. The owners/workers were very helpful and kind stay again for sure.

Nestled in the charming Downtown Key West district, Travelers Palm Inn offers a delightful escape with its conch-style cottages and lush garden views. This casual inn features airy accommodations, some equipped with kitchens, making it ideal for both short and extended stays. Guests can enjoy the inviting outdoor pool and sun terrace while taking advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi and self-parking. The property exudes a magical ambiance that makes you feel right at home.
We stayed in a studio. It was perfect! The room was spotless, the sheets soft and the bed was very comfortable. It’s set up very private and secure. They have a beautiful pool, ice machine and filtered water so just bring your refillable bottle. The innkeepers are responsive and friendly. They have bikes on site but the location is perfect. We had no problem with parking right out front of the inn. Everything is within walking distance so no need for a rental. We will definitely be back.

The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautiful. The pool was lovely as well. From what I hear, we were super lucky to find parking near by. However, if you stay here, I would highly recommend you pack your ear plugs and eye masks. The shades in the rooms barely keep out the light and the walls are paper thin. While we stayed in Royal Palm Studio, the adjoining room was to the Royal Palm Suite. The couple that stayed in the suite were quite rambunctious the first couple nights of their visit, which is absolutely fine, but we could hear everything. And when I say everything. I mean EVE-RY-THING. And I would assume with us leaving early mornings for several excursions (Dry Tortugas, Parasailing, flight, etc), they could hear everything we were up to in the mornings. We were excited to find El Siboney within the block, which was a Cuban place our friends highly recommended we stop by, which we did several times on our visit!

Not a bad place to stay, but I wouldn't stay here again. The best part was the location, which is in a quite neighborhood away from Duval street, but it's still close enough to walk anywhere you want to go in Key West. Worst part was not having enough hot water when showering and dealing with noise of our neighbors through the adjoining door. Also, it should be noted that there is no inn keeper on site, so really this property is more like staying at an Airbnb. And don't bother asking for late check out, as they wouldn't even give us an extra hour despite numerous requests.

It was just as the photos. Nice, Clean, Spacious Studio with stocked kitchenette & deck w/chairs. Very tropical setting. Nice clean pool area. Nice little private Bungalow type setups within a neighborhood. There's no resort fee. There's two types of rooms Studio and Suite. There's parking on the property if you book the suite, but there's available parking on the street which is only a few feet from the property. I highly recommend it. I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted by Athena, who was very friendly and helpful. Our room was adorable and the grounds are beautiful and private. The only negative I would like to mention is that the walls are VERY thin and if there are guests in the adjoining room, unfortunately you hear EVERYTHING. My husband and I kept the radio on when we were in our room, which helped us feel a little more comfortable. However, even with this setback, I still wouldn't hesitate to give this beautiful inn 5 stars. The location was perfect as it was not right on Duval or too close to the loud bars. We rented bicycles (as recommended by the inn) and there was a convenient bike rack right in the common area of the inn. Overall, my husband and I were extremely pleased with our stay and are already planning our return!

A very cute and great place to stay! The pool is nice n very relaxing with all the palm trees surrounding it. Nice private front porch. Great location. Only complaint is the walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations and pretty much anything that's going on in the unit next door. Other then that it would be 5+ stars

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to share my love for this incredible property. Not only was the bed incredibly comfortable and the unit beautifully decorated but the entire property feels like a magical garden. Diana and Maura were great communicators and we felt very safe. The location is perfect, close enough to everything but tucked enough away that it felt very private. I hope to return to the Travelers Palm in the future and feel very lucky to have found the property to begin with. Far exceeded our expectations.

This place was a hidden gem. We stayed here for 2 nights and were thrilled with how you felt right at home. Yes there are roosters around but that's literally all of Key West. We never had a problem with one waking us up. You're around 3 blocks from one end of Duval St but about a mile from the real action near Mallory Square. Rent a bike or scooter and you will be in good shape!
