Situated in the beautiful Frichley Hills of Lonavala, Fariyas Resort offers refined rooms and suites with stunning views of the valley. The staff is exceptional with a personal touch, and the food is top notch with Akhrot Halwa (dinner) and Pakwan-Sindhi Daal (breakfast) being especially recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fariyas resort, and I must say, it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, vibes were happening and the staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met. The rooms were lavishly appointed with stunning views, plush linens, and impeccable decor. All the amenities were there along with a indoor water park and pool that seemed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. But what truly set this resort apart was the exceptional service. From the concierge team to the housekeeping staff, everyone was attentive, efficient, and genuinely eager to make my stay unforgettable. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat, It is a ultimate luxury destination. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly exceptional experience.

A Mixed Stay at Fariyas Hotel: More 3-Star Than 5-Star Experience My recent experience at Fariyas Hotel had significant ups and downs, leaving me with the impression that while some aspects were pleasant, the overall quality felt more akin to a 3-star property rather than the 5-star experience one might expect. Upon checking into our initial room, we unfortunately discovered a cockroach. However, I commend the hotel staff for their prompt response; they immediately addressed our concern by moving us to a new room and even providing an upgrade, which was much appreciated. The upgraded room was indeed spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. It was also a connected room, meaning it had an internal door (which was locked) that could potentially be used to link with an adjacent room. Unfortunately, this also meant that the television from the adjacent room was clearly audible, significantly impacting the peace and quiet of our stay. Additionally, we noticed that the duvet had some tears and holes, which was a minor detail but still detracted from the overall comfort. Another point of note was the absence of complimentary evening tea, which is often a standard offering in higher-rated hotels. One of the undeniable highlights of our stay was the breakfast. There was a good variety of options, and the taste was excellent, making for a very enjoyable start to our mornings. In conclusion, while the hotel did well in resolving the initial room issue and provided a great breakfast, several areas require significant improvement to meet 5-star expectations. The issues with noise from the connected room, the condition of the duvet, and the lack of expected amenities like complimentary evening tea point to a quality level that feels more consistent with a 3-star hotel. With greater attention to room maintenance, soundproofing, and standard amenities, Fariyas Hotel could truly elevate its guest experience.

The resort is nice, with clean and well-maintained rooms, though the property does feel a bit old. We had booked a non-smoking room, but there was a noticeable smell of smoke in the bathroom when we entered. We reported it, and the room service team acknowledged the issue and sprayed a strong air freshener. On the positive side, the food was really good, and the staff was supportive and courteous throughout our stay. Overall, despite a small inconvenience, we had a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

A Perfect Blend of Comfort, Nature & Hospitality Stayed at this resort the second time recently and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a peaceful ambiance. The location is truly stunning — surrounded by nature. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully designed, offering all modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The temperature controlled in-house pool area was a highlight, offering a serene spot to unwind. Food was delicious with a variety of local and multi-cuisine options. The staff were polite, attentive, and ensured our every need was taken care of. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, whether as a couple, family, or group, this resort offers the perfect blend of luxury, nature, and tranquility. ✅ Highly recommended. Would love to visit again!

Enjoy multiple heated pools perfect for year-round fun, plus an exciting water park with thrilling water slides and splash zones. Little ones will love the dedicated kids’ room filled with games and activities, while the whole family can relax knowing there are great dining options to satisfy every taste. With endless ways to play, swim, and dine, this resort is the ultimate getaway for families.

Lovely place with great vibes! Had a really good experience at Fariyas Resort during our visit to Lonavala. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. It’s got a peaceful atmosphere, yet feels lively at the same time. The food was genuinely awesome—every meal we had was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. The buffet spread had a lot of variety and everything we tried was tasty. Special mention to the service staff—they were polite, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the view from our balcony was amazing. The pool and indoor recreation areas are also great if you’re travelling with kids or just want to unwind. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and recharge. Would definitely recommend if you’re planning a trip to Lonavala.

Had a fantastic stay at Fariyas Resort! The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer a serene view of the lush surroundings—ideal for a relaxing getaway. The food was excellent, with a generous breakfast spread and consistently delicious meals throughout our stay. The temperature-controlled swimming pool was a delight, especially during cooler hours. DJ night added a fun, energetic vibe to the evening. The in-house water park is a great bonus, especially for families with kids. While most of the rides were enjoyable, a couple could use some maintenance—the ride quality on a few wasn’t quite up to the mark. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall fun. A well-rounded experience with plenty to enjoy. Would definitely recommend for a quick and comfortable escape!

A Truly Memorable Stay – Filled with Warmth and Hospitality! Everything about our stay was simply amazing, but what truly made it special was the warmth of the people at the resort. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine smiles and helpful gestures that made us feel instantly at home. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always ready to assist with a kind word and a positive attitude. The food was absolutely fantastic — each meal was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, offering a delightful mix of local flavors and comfort food. The serene atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and attention to detail added to the overall experience. This resort doesn’t just offer a great stay — it offers heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, feel cared for, and indulge in great food and genuine service.

Della Resorts is a luxurious 5-star property located in Kunegaon, offering a wide range of amenities and activities for both leisure and corporate guests. The resort features an adventure park with 86 activities, as well as a 24-hour spa, six dining options, a gym, and an outdoor pool. It also provides facilities for corporate trainings, team building activities, and social gatherings with banquet halls and boardrooms available.
The most beautiful stay experience ever” Had the most amazing stay here! The hospitality was top-notch — everything was just perfect, be it the food, transportation, or service. What truly stood out was how absolutely pet-friendly this place is! I’ve never seen such genuine warmth and comfort extended to pets anywhere before.,also there are no pet charges like other pet friendly places who charge unreasonably from pet parents & and on top of that they stoll impose restrictions also . For anyone who loves to travel with their furry babies, this resort is a must-visit. We celebrated our baby’s 1st birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Truly a memorable and beautiful stay!

Property - Located in lap of a hill , it turns majestic during fog and rain . Despite incessant rain that this area witnesses, maintenance is praise worthy. Rooms are spacious ( we stayed in Garden Villa ) and equipped with all modern facilities you may aspire for . Check -in and check -out — Whatever management may feel but check out time of 90 mins simply speaks for itself . It shows that you don’t have respect for guest’s time . Complete chaos rules the reception . While driving back home i felt sorry for people to whom I caused inconvenience by blowing horn near reception . At the end , you don’t want to carry these memories . Fish market feeling can be avoided by better planning . Dinner - Just average nothing to cherish about . Breakfast- Good spread and well managed despite crowd .

would not recommend this place for staying. The rooms are poorly maintained, with fungus on the curtains, unclean flooring, and carpets that have not been properly cleaned. Despite charging rates comparable to a 5-star property, the standards here fall far below and it should not be considered a star-rated property at all. While the staff is courteous and did provide immediate assistance when requested, the overall hygiene and cleanliness protocols are lacking. Hospitality is a continuous process, not a one-day effort, and proper maintenance of the property is essential.
Petville S — Google review
I stayed at Della Resort just a day ago and have mixed feelings about the experience. The room was cozy and beautifully designed — perfect for a couple’s stay. The property itself is scenic and luxurious, offering stunning views and spacious, well-maintained rooms that truly stand out. The resort offers a wide range of activities, which is a great feature, but unfortunately, the pricing for these is excessively high. Similarly, while there are multiple restaurants on-site and the food is delicious, the pricing is steeper than even many 5-star hotels. One major drawback was the check-in process. It was unusually slow and required guests to wait quite a bit — not what you expect from a luxury resort. Also, during heavy rainfall, no umbrellas were provided nor was there any prior intimation. This was disappointing, especially considering the level of hospitality expected from a 5-star property. While it's wonderful that the resort is pet-friendly, I noticed that the dogs kept at the property were not in good condition. The cleanliness was lacking, and there was a noticeable odor in the pet area — something that definitely needs attention. The swimming pool is outdated and could use a major upgrade to match the rest of the resort’s otherwise upscale feel. Della markets itself as “India’s best resort,” and while it does have many strengths — such as luxury accommodations, breathtaking views, and a wide array of amenities — there are areas that clearly need improvement to truly live up to that title.

Disliked the taste of idli at breakfast, I think it was a little over fermented. But apart from that this is an awesome place, great rooms, great views. We were a part of a corporate event so we didn't really get a chance to experience the adventure sports. Worth mentioning Huge rooms Clean rooms and bathrooms Huge bathrooms

We recently stayed at Della Resort in Lonavala with our family, including our young daughter. While the property itself is decent, it certainly doesn’t live up to the 5-star label it claims—3 stars would be a more accurate reflection. Service & Hospitality: The service was below average throughout our stay. Staff interactions often felt transactional rather than welcoming, and there was a noticeable lack of warmth or attentiveness you'd expect at a premium resort. Location: The location is fairly average, neither very scenic nor particularly convenient. It doesn’t offer much in terms of natural beauty or accessibility. Dining Experience: Food quality was mediocre at best, yet the pricing was exorbitant. Expect to spend ₹4,000–₹6,000 per meal for two. What’s worse, every restaurant on the property imposes a cover charge—even for in-house guests who’ve already paid upwards of ₹20,000 per night. If you happen to walk in during dinner hours without paying the cover, don’t be surprised if you're denied a seat—regardless of your guest status. Hidden Charges & Child Policy: Despite booking a family package, we were charged an additional ₹4,000 per night for our 8-year-old daughter. Shockingly, this did not include an extra bed, mattress, or even a lounger. These charges were not disclosed upfront and only surfaced at check-in, leaving us with no choice but to pay due to the non-refundable nature of the booking. Additional Fees: On top of the inflated room rates and dining costs, there’s a mandatory ₹5,000 per night cover charge for food and beverages, plus a 5% service charge added to the final stay bill. This pricing model feels more exploitative than premium, and is unlike anything we’ve experienced even at top-tier hospitality chains. Overall Impression: Della Resort trades heavily on celebrity hype but delivers a value that’s nowhere near its price point. What you get is an average stay at an average property, dressed up in luxury branding that doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.

This place is a total scam! The reservation told me to book camp room as adventure rooms don't have a jacuzzi. Turns out camp rooms have a single person tub (smaller) and adventure rooms have a couple jacuzzi (double size). They made me book a more expensive room that had a smaller offering. They told us on Saturday activities are open till 9pm. So we took a snack break and when we reached the dog walking activity at 7.15 - it was closed! Now the next day I would have to pay for that even after taking an entire day pass the day before. The 50+ ad for day pass is also a big lie. They don't even have 50 in total. The crossbow pistol, bubble football or bubble fight, the motorized tripod scooter - these don't even exist. 4 activities are paid irrespective of the pass u take. They have 20 activities at best, 4 of which are paid. The indoor video games are all broken. The car video game drives at 1st gear throughout the race. 2 dart boards and only 5 darts between them. edit: The front desk helped resolved the issue with rooms, updating the rating to thank them. But the point still remains that call support (corp office) and on ground staff are out of sync with reality.

This resort is a very nice property. I was there at Cafe24 for Brunch. The cover charge per person is Rs. 1000 as on 12 October 2025. The food is expensive and taste is at par with any establishment of this type. The resort is humungous and has a rich view of lush green hillside right from the the gate till the end. The villas seem very spacious and I'll revise this review someday when I plan a stay there.

Excellent staycation option for family with kids. Staff was exceptionally soft spoken. Welcomed us with such warmth and was very considerate about our comfort and food choices. As we travelled with one year toddler, staff ensured food as per toddler requirement is provided. Dinner and breakfast buffet spread was scrumptious having wide variety of veg and non veg. Property is neat and clean, very well maintained, cosy and beautiful. Kids area is also compact and having sufficient rides to keep your toddler busy.

5/5 for the service and staff behaviour. All very polite and prompt. Special mention to Soumi in the restaurant, engaged our 1 yr old baby nicely so we could eat properly. Rest all are 4.5/5 with slight improvements needed here and there like maintaining temp of food in the buffet, sofa seats in the room needs upgrading as does the TV, for a suite room. TV size should be bigger. Vibe of the property is pretty inviting. Game zone is a big plus. Overall an excellent and value for money place for a weekend.

An excellent place for a short holiday! The rooms are large, clean, airy, functional and tastefully done. The overall ambience of the central swimming pool area is natural and very peaceful. The staff are friendly, helpful & make you really feel at home. The food is very good. And for a property of this standard, the rates are very competitive!

We recently visited Rhythm at lonavala for our company outing, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, the resort provided the perfect setting for both relaxation and team bonding. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, clean and comfortable rooms, and a range of facilities that cater to both leisure and corporate needs. What truly made our stay memorable were the team-building activities thoughtfully organized by the resort staff. From fun, challenges games to engaging group exercises, every activity was well-planned and encouraged collaboration, trust, and laughter among colleagues. The facilitators were energetic, professional, and ensured everyone felt included.

Harishchandra P — Google review
My stay at Rhythm Lonavala was absolutely amazing but solely because of the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly and extremely welcoming. But a very excellent staff is just one side of the coin. The room needs to be good too. Sorry to say but this is a 3 star property at best. When we arrived in the room the first thing we noticed that the flush in our room was broken. Then water was leaking from somewhere but even the maintenance team couldn't figure it out, we woke up to a completely wet bathroom in the morning. The next bad thing was the washroom having no kind of exhaust at all, making it extremely suffocating to bathe or do anything in there. A basic exhaust fan is a necessity which seems like a bad foresight. The food was decent but again not up to the mark of a 5 star hotel as the food looked like it had a lot of seasoning but salt was very less which made it taste bland. At the end all I can say is that the staff alone is managing to hold the hotel to a very very high level as the property itself does not feel upto the mark

Nice experience. No issues with cleanliness. In rainy season it's equivalent to heaven specially mountain view rooms. Only improvement area is about kids zone and some outdoor activities as these were completely missing. We have visited this restaurant on occasion of my birthday. They provided butter scotch cake as complementary, which was super tasty.

We chose this property for our 2 night stay in Lonavala due to the ratings and reviews we saw online. However, unfortunately, they turned out to be misleading in our case. We were 3 friends traveling together. The first room we got was mouldy and smelled like it hasn’t been opened in months. But we still decided to give it a shot. But then the AC in our room was constantly dripping water on the floor, and after an initial inspection when the issue didn’t get resolved, we requested the staff to give us another room the next day, but they were adamant that there aren’t any more rooms available. However, miraculously, after we were a bit stern with them, we were given one of the penthouses! The room was nice, but in this room the TV was not a smart one, which was surprising, because the one in the previous, cheaper room was. Anyway, after again having to hound the staff for a bit, they did switch our TV, which was nice of them. So the stay experience overall for me was below average. The breakfast spread was decent, location is beautiful. But I would not be going back here again.

I have traveled to Dubai, Thailand, and numerous other locations around the globe, but I assure you that their hospitality is on a different level. I stayed here for just two days, from September 6 to 8, 2025, in Room No. 308. Their hospitality is so exceptional that they will never refuse you for reasonable requests, including the restaurant staff. On the first night, I asked them to heat up my food that I had brought from home, and they gladly obliged! I also inquired if I could have a late checkout around 12 to 1 PM, as my eight-year-old daughter was unwell the previous night, and they agreed. Furthermore, the restaurant staff is very polite and humble. It was a wonderful experience at Zara Resort. Thankyou

Nestled in over 7 acres of lush land, Treasure Island Resort in Lonavala draws inspiration from the classic adventure novel by RL Stevenson. The resort offers a stylish stay with airy quarters, two vegetarian restaurants, tropical gardens, and an outdoor pool. It's conveniently located just a short drive away from Karla Caves and Celebrity Wax Museum. Known for hosting weddings and corporate events, the resort features spacious lawns that can accommodate up to 2,000 people.
If you are looking for a wedding venue then this is the best venue I have seen so far, I had booked this venue for my brother's wedding and the event was more than what we had in mind. The property is well maintained and so beautiful that all our videos and photos are turned to amazing. We had a lot of support from the team working at the resort and must say that the managers have helped in all the ways they can to make the event a success. So thanks a lot for your support. Initially we had seen lots of different venues however the communication with other were very commercial, however we always felt like home when communicating with Team Treasure Island staff. They are in business for more than 2 decades and now we understand that they deserve to be number 1 in lonavala when it comes to destination weddings.

Our recent stay at Treasure Island Resort was a truly refreshing experience. The resort is beautifully located, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The property is well-maintained with lush greenery, spacious rooms, and an inviting pool area that makes it ideal for both relaxation and family activities. The food options were quite varied, with a good balance between local delicacies and international cuisines. This is pure veg resort. The taste of the food is good but on the other side the portions offered are less compared to the cost. Also they charge additional 20% extra if you order in the room which makes the experience downer. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive with fresh and delicious choices. A few areas could be improved, such as the lagoon villa in which we stayed there was continuously water leaking from bathtub taps. This issue was highlighted to room service person but he neglected and there was no solution from the management. Overall, Treasure Island Resort is a wonderful getaway spot for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for a fun yet relaxing vacation. We left with beautiful memories and would definitely love to visit again.

Decent place. Considering the beautiful location and food quality, they could have done lot better. Basic things like shower, TV, etc. were non functional. The diner closes at 10 pm is not so good, felt like school hostel discipline. Also you cannot order food from outside. Having said that, the breakfast options and room service was great within the given time frame.

The rooms are spacious and come with a huge balcony, which makes the stay very comfortable. Service is decent, though nothing extraordinary. The hotel has two restaurants, but they are located quite far from each other, which can be a little inconvenient. One point to note is that the management is quite stringent on processes like check-out – for example, rooms are inspected before allowing check-out, which may feel a bit rigid. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with good room space, but service and flexibility could be improved.

Had a wonderful 2-day company trip here. The resort offers ample space, a large hall for corporate activities, a great ground for group games, and refreshing swimming pools. Perfect for team outings and relaxation. My only suggestion—food quality could be improved

Resort is beautiful but not maintained, service is poor, 1) it was raining heavily during our trip but they don't provide umbrella to the guest, not even for internal resort transfer. 2) we had food around 4pm they said they don't have only 3-4 snacks item and asked us to come after 7pm for food. but somehow manage to make utthappa which was very bad in taste. 3) it was raining heavy so we decided to sit inside restaurant and eat something, they don't help us with umbrella to go back to our room, ontop of that RESTAURANT WASHROOM WAS LOCKED, POOL WASHROOM WAS LOCKED, Reddicouls, i controlled for 1 hour and then used my Room's washroom once rain stopped. THIS IS SO BAD WHEN THEY DONT HAVE WORKING RESTROOM APART FROM THE ROOMS VERY BAD. 3) No welcome drink asked despite mentioned in the hotel features. 4) I asked for quiet room And turf cafe facing room because it was our anniversary. They gave us reception facing very first room which was quite disturbing. I can understand if the resort is full but the whole resort was almost empty they failed to provide us good view room which again really very bad service. 5) again next morning for breakfast I asked for restaurant washroom they said it's not working and I had to go back to my room inbetween my breakfast. 6) Pool timings till 7:30pm they said , I used pool around 6pm still ,after requesting so many times they dint turn the pool's waterfall on, even during pool timings they fail to provided in time service.

What an amazing property. Loved it. Extremely peaceful area, not much walking for older people within the resort, very friendly staff. There are 3 restaurants within the properly, there is a club house for games, housie etc. they made us play in groups and we made new friends. Definitely Recommend this property if you plan to travel to Lonavala.

Nestled in the lush green hills of Lonavala, Avion Holiday Resort offers a peaceful retreat from city life. The resort features spacious and elegantly furnished rooms, providing a comfortable stay for guests. With an informal ambiance and scenic views of the hills, this 3-star resort is conveniently located near a bustling market and a popular theme park. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, delicious food at the restaurant, and relax on their private balcony.
I had a wonderful stay at Avion Holiday Resort in Lonavala. The location is perfect — close to the market and major attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. The resort has a beautiful ambiance with lush greenery, and the property is well-maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all necessary amenities. The staff was polite and helpful, and the service was prompt. The food at the restaurant was tasty with a good variety of options. There's also a nice play area for kids and a decent-sized pool for a quick dip. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few areas, like room interiors and pool maintenance, could use a little upgrade. Still, it’s a great place for a short getaway with family or friends. Would definitely recommend and love to visit again!
Satendra J — Google review
The resort is located in a prime area, which initially seemed promising. However, the overall experience was far from satisfying, especially considering the high seasonal pricing. The resort is located in a very noisy area with constant traffic throughout the day and night. The property is poorly maintained — rooms are old, not clean, and lack any kind of view. Basic hygiene was missing, and the kids' play area was extremely dirty. The condition of the resort simply doesn’t match the price they charge. The staff was not polite or helpful. A particularly disturbing issue was the landline phone in our room, which kept getting cross-connected during the night — we received calls around 3 AM and multiple times afterward, every few hours. When reported, all we got was repeated apologies, but no real solution. The food was very average, nothing special, and again, not justifiable for the high rates. Parking space is limited and inconvenient, yet they still charge extra for it without any valid reason. Overall, this resort fails to deliver on basic expectations of comfort, service, and cleanliness. I wouldn't recommend it, especially at the prices they quote.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Avion Holiday Resort! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and beautiful ambiance. The resort is perfectly located in the heart of Lonavala, yet it offers a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly courteous, always ready to help with a smile, and made sure every need was met promptly. What stood out the most was the food—absolutely delicious! The breakfast buffet had great variety, and every meal I had there was fresh and flavorful. The resort has a charming, family-friendly vibe with a lovely garden, play area for kids, and a clean swimming pool that added to the relaxation. It's the perfect spot whether you're visiting with family, friends, or even for a couple’s getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy Lonavala in comfort and style. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The location is great! And that's probably why the resort charges a price premium. The pricing is on the higher considering the rooms and infrastructure in the resort. The service was super quick and friendly, so the overall experience was quite good. The way the rooms are designed could be better.

"Great Stay in a Perfect Location!" The stay was truly worth it. The location is excellent, right in the main market area. The food was awesome, and my kids absolutely loved the play area. Overall, it was a great experience!"

Best location, resort is good if you just want to chill out for 1 or 2 days. Kids have plenty option to play if they want to play. Swimming pool is ok. Food is good. Overall you can enjoy your stay here.

Excellent location if you are using public transport. Location is right in the market with shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms are ok. One of the room was leaking as it was raining. It has game room. However, only TT table and carrom were there. Also, the room was being used for ironing clothes. No other place is there for games. Swimming pool was dirty and small. Lunch was not good. Snacks and breakfast were ok. Alcohol consumption is prohibited on the premises.

This is an old property, not well maintained. The food is okay. But the buffet booked is not of good standards. I have been booking hotels where my stay for a deluxe rooms have costed less than what I paid for this stay of 6k, but have got higher satisfaction in terms of property and service. I would say it was a disappointing experience.

Meritas Picaddle Resort in Lonavala is a luxurious retreat nestled amidst serene green hills. The resort offers top-notch amenities including two vegetarian restaurants, a trendy bar, and a cozy cafe. Guests can indulge in relaxation at the spa, take a dip in the pools, or stay active at the gym. The pale yellow building with shiny blue glasses houses well-appointed rooms and modern bathrooms.
Had a wonderful stay at Meritas Picaddle Resort in Lonavala! The location is absolutely prime – right in the heart of Lonavala, making it super convenient to get around and explore nearby attractions. One of the biggest highlights for us was the water park – it’s perfect for kids! There are several fun slides and splash zones, and the staff was very attentive, making sure everything was safe and clean. Our kids had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave the pool! The resort itself is well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and good dining options. Whether you're planning a family getaway or a quick weekend trip, this place ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend it for families with young ones!

Booked this resort for 1 day and though it was very costly, it wasn't worth that amount for 1 day. There was not much to do there on a rainy day as the indoor games are limited. Food was really good. The Staff were very courteous. Loved the swimming pool though and the water park. Rooms were spacious and had all amenities. Still should have been cheaper. Overall enjoyed the stay!!

I recently stayed in Meritas Picaddle luxury boutique hotel. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. The rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and offer stunning views. The breakfast is excellent, and the overall value for money is outstanding. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The hotel offers amenities like a pool and garden area, providing additional relaxation options.
Parag P — Google review
The location is convenient, set in the marketplace with a few food options around, and the indoor play area with a pool and games was decent. But everything else was a letdown, especially for families with young kids. • We were given two single beds joined together instead of a proper double bed, and were told our 3-year-old could sleep in the gap between the two mattresses! • The cleaning was shockingly careless — used beer glasses from the night before were placed back without washing. I almost used one for my child the next morning, but luckily noticed the smell. • The water park was completely rusted and poorly maintained. Not safe for kids at all. • We requested scrambled eggs for our child, and were told the chef couldn’t make it — basic flexibility missing. Overall, this place might look fun from the outside, but is far from suitable for young children

We are regular visitor in Meritas Picaddle resort may it be stay or just to eat food. Their Restaurant has very welcoming staff. Front office team was very prompt in giving us room. We have stayed here for 3 days .The location of resort is within market so it is easily accessible and easy to found. While checkin was fast as it was almost full, but when we reach at resort no bell boy help in taking out luggage from our taxi they were simply watching ,we have to put out our luggage and after checkin they help in keep it in room.At resaption no one was there to serve welcome drink,it is at some hidden corner and taste was also not good.We have opted for two executive room without bath tub but they have upgraded one room with bath tub. Those two rooms were far apart. When we saw upgraded room it has pathetic view from its window, nothing to be seen also bath tub had a lot of crack and bathroom looks dirty, next day they had changed our room .In our second room there was wooden flooring and when we open it always smell. The bathroom are very small and rooms have some unusual space . The water park from.outside looks good but when you enter inside water smells very bad.It is due to rusting of iron of water slides. It waa unhygenic.Though swimming pool.was better than that. Taste of Food was very good and quantity is also good enough.I highly reccomend for food if you visit lonavala. One point it lakes is they do not give finger bowls after food in veggies restaurant. Also they have diffrent sitting arrangments for veg and non veg eating people but if one person likes to eat non veg in a family then it will.be difficult. In breakfast buffet they give you RO water ,you have to ask for bisleri if you need but for one day they have charged us twice ,while checkout you have to check all the bills carefully. For room cleaning I have to call several.times,They were not providing towels, napkins. We have to ask for it several.time and daily they give same excusses that laundary has not come.In our package iron and table was there but even after asking they had not given it. They have game room also which has carrom, table tenmis, air hockey etc all are working.Spa and saloon facility is also available.

We had a different reputation about this resort. However, we felt very disappointed. It was very crowded. Water park is badly maintained. The water in the water park was not clean and it was stinky. Bathroom was not ventilated and had a very bad lighting. Bathroom showers had brown colored water. Food quality is good. There are so many options for breakfast.

Looks good, decent location, while the exteriors are freshly painted the rooms needs improvement. Especially the bathrooms. Shower works in bursts of 10 secs, then stops and then starts again. Spoke to housekeeping, reception and the manager. Their intervention only helped to make the shower a little better but could not be resolved. And this was across the floor, as we had multiple rooms. All had same problem. The balcony had leakages and water dripping on coffee table. The food at best is average. While the staff is polite but they can't do much, I am assuming as the property has aged. So not a pleasant experience.

We had an unplanned stay at Hotel Lagoona Resort, Lonavala on 17th August, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for me and my wife. The hospitality was beyond expectations — warm, attentive, and truly caring. A special shoutout to Suman Das (Sr. F&B Executive) for his exceptional service and professionalism. Also, heartfelt thanks to the amazing restaurant and hotel staff including Mehul, Sunit, Sourav, Vaishnavi, Chandni, Nitin, Sakshi Bhoir, Sagar, Ravindra, Rannan, Monika, Bhagshree, Sakshi Shelar, Harish, Akshay, Nitesh, Pranali, Yogesh Avghade, Sourav Patil, Soyathi, Sanket, and the culinary team: Mukesh Chef, Rana Chef, Uttaran Chef, Nikhil Chef, Vinod Chef, Rajesh Chef, and Urmila — every one of them contributed to making our stay special. The gesture, warmth, and attention to detail shown by the entire team made us feel genuinely cared for. It's rare to come across such dedicated hospitality. Definitely a 5/5 experience — highly recommended and we’ll surely visit again!

The resort has great views. The management is prompt and addresses your concerns. Rooms are good, clean. We had a great stay here. There is still scope of improvement in terms of breakfast buffet. Its good but it could have been better in terms of variety and taste as well.

Decided to give this hotel a try after it was suggested as a must-try on Clear Trip and under "Steal Deal" on Agoda. Starting with the reception, there was a welcome drink counter that had no one, and we weren't served anything, nor were we asked for water or something. Starting with the room, we had booked the base category and asked for an upgrade, which was denied despite the hotel being 80% empty. The manager rudely said no, which is okay. However, we were really disappointed to see the base category room. It seemed spacious, but the bathrooms and toiletries were not in good shape. On top of that, they are using towels that are five years old and have turned yellow. The central AC apparently in the base category is not working, and they had normal ACs, which are too small for the size of the room.Room. The funny part is that the standalone AC was also non functional and had to be serviced. After which we asked for a room change, but that was denied as well, saying all other rooms were occupied. The pool table is in bad shape, and the table tennis rackets are broken. The swimming pool was an infestation for mosquitoes and other insects. They have a boating area which is non-functional because of a permission issue, but that has become an infested ground for mosquitoes, filled with dirty water, sludge, and fungus. I don't know why the management isn't doing anything about it. There were undies and wet clothes lying in the reception area. The check-out experience isn't great either. I was not asked by anyone about the review or recommendation. Also, the check-out procedure makes you feel like a thief. The reception will call staff to check the room, and once given a go-ahead, the receptionist will hand over a note to you, which you have to go and hand over to security and then to valet. Why can't the receptionist directly call the security and inform them? Also, it has a guest service counter which had two girls sitting; I don't know for what, because clearly, they aren't doing a good job. PS Note: Only if you get a good deal for 4-5 K then consider it. At 10K there are far better hotels and resorts in Lonavala. Can't comment on food because we had not opted for Breakfast or dinner

I recently stayed at this resort for 2 days, and it was truly a memorable experience! Special thanks to Suman, Asha, Saurav, Vaishnavi, Rupali, Reshma, Mehul, Nitin, Harish, Uddhav, Sakshi, Sourav, Monika, Chadani, Pranali and the entire team whose friendliness stood out throughout our stay. A big shoutout to Chef Mukesh and Chef Rana – the food was simply outstanding! Chef Mukesh deserves special praise for his brilliant culinary skills. Every meal was a delight – flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The love and passion for food truly reflect in every dish. Sadly, due to our plans, we were unable have the time for fishing experience, but I am sure we will do it next time. Only suggestion: It would be great if swimming costumes, caps and goggles were available at the pool for adults.

We have been visiting dukes for many years now, however, the recent visit was absolutely a surprise and superlative experience! With the change in mgmt and expansion, everything about the resort has changed for the better - the landscape, rooms, hygiene, service, activities, food, all of it! They also have a dedicated Italian restaurant with authentic recipes and delights. Young enthusiastic courteous team members have been recruited making your stay most comfortable. New recreational activities have been added - Sakshi, kiran, the pottery guy all are great at engaging the kids. Kudos to the team! Keep up the good work!

I had a wonderful stay at Radisson Lonavala. The staff were incredibly courteous and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. The location is perfect — close to everything yet peaceful enough for a good night’s rest. The breakfast spread was fresh and delicious every morning. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting

“Not worth the money, minimal facilities ” The property is surprisingly small — it ends almost as soon as it starts, with no open lawn or outdoor space to relax. Kids' facilities are minimal — just a tiny play area suitable for toddlers. They advertise daily kids' activities (2–4 PM), and when I called before booking, I was told they had fun, engaging surprises planned. In reality, it was just basic colouring sheets — nothing more. Parents are expected to sit and assist, and there’s nothing else to engage the kids — no interactive sessions, no prizes or rewards to make it fun or memorable. A huge disappointment. The buffet has good variety, but most food was cold except for the live counters. While the location is accessible, it’s surrounded by private homes, so it doesn’t feel like a true resort. For a 5-star price, there are far better options in Lonavala. Even Radisson Karjat and Alibaug offer a much better experience.

Rating - 2/5 The ambience and environment at Marquee / Skybar are truly exceptional a 10/10 for the setting and service. However, the food quality didn’t quite match the ambience. Here’s what we tried: 1. Mushroom Cappuccino – delicious and well-prepared. 2. Barbeque Prawns – somewhat below expectations in flavor. 3. Lebanese Chicken Roast (if I recall correctly) the chicken was quite tough and hard to remove from the skewer, making it difficult to enjoy. 4. Pad Thai Noodles – average taste, nothing remarkable. 5. Tiramisu – looked beautiful but unfortunately, the texture was off; the ladyfingers weren’t soaked well, giving it a biscuit-like feel. While the ambience and service are top-notch, the food quality could definitely be improved to match the overall experience.

Extremely Disappointed – Not Worthy of the Radisson Name We had booked 13 rooms for a group of 25 people at Radisson Resort & Spa, Lonavala for our Diwali vacation, paying around ₹24,000 per night per room, expecting a peaceful and relaxing experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the complete opposite. The hotel had taken a wedding booking on the same dates, and all regular guests like us were forced to bear the constant noise, chaos, and crowd from the in-house wedding events. There was loud music, hustle and bustle throughout the property, and it was impossible to enjoy any peace or comfort. The breakfast was badly managed, with long queues just to get a plate. We were made to sit with the wedding group, and the entire experience felt like being at a public event rather than a resort. Room service was delayed or completely ignored because the staff were overwhelmed attending to the wedding guests. Even dinner was poorly organized and far below expectations for a property of this standard. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing and mismanaged stay. If the hotel had informed us in advance about the wedding, we would never have chosen these dates. Charging premium rates while compromising guest comfort and service is unacceptable. Also, their quality of rooms is not upto the mark and upto a branded hotel chain name. You are better off spending your hard earned money elsewhere. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures future guests are not put through the same experience.

Terrible experience! We booked this hotel based on the good ratings, but our stay was extremely disappointing. The staff were unhelpful, and the service was slow and unprofessional. Before leaving for sightseeing, we informed the reception to have our room cleaned. They assured us it would be done, but when we returned five hours later, the room was still dirty. To make things worse, our room key suddenly stopped working, and we were left waiting outside for 30 minutes before anyone came to help. The service overall was terrible. The room itself was also very small for the price we paid. Overall, we were completely dissatisfied with the hotel and its service. Definitely not worth the money or the hype.

Here’s a warm, polished review you can post for Kansa at Radisson Hotel Lonavala — you can copy it directly into Google Reviews, TripAdvisor, or Booking.com: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Service by Kansa! I had a wonderful experience at Radisson Hotel Lonavala, and I’d especially like to appreciate Kansa for her exceptional hospitality. She was extremely polite, attentive, and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Her professionalism and friendly nature truly made our stay more comfortable and memorable. It’s rare to come across staff who go out of their way to ensure guests are happy — thank you, Kansa, for making our visit so pleasant!

Amazing stay at lonavala From the beginning of my stay throughout and even after that I felt the heartfelt hospitality of Radisson. Madhulika from reception right from her calling before the day I arrived to my welcome and even taking followup calls if we reached safely took great care of us. Great stay and services The food room and cleanliness of the property is top notch I must say Will definitely visit again

Very great experience. Brilliant staff, nice spot. Great weather. Good for marriage events and weekend celebration. Only issue is cab service. Ola and Uber are rarely available here, for station rides. For outstation rides it is available but the local residents intimidate the cab drivers a lot. So they are hesitant to come here. And Radisson have very very few cars. So best bring your own vehicle .

Upper Deck Resort offers a relaxed stay in a modest all-inclusive setting with an outdoor pool, hot tub, and gym. The spacious cottage rooms provide valley views, while the deluxe rooms offer a different experience. Guests can enjoy buffet meals with freshly made dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cooperative and friendly staff contribute to the excellent experience. The resort also features a well-maintained swimming pool and indoor games for entertainment.
Such a beautiful place! The resort has amazing views and a peaceful vibe. It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The staff was friendly and the stay was very comfortable. I would love to come back!

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price Our experience at this hotel was disappointing, especially considering we were traveling with an elderly parent and a child — comfort and basic service were essential, but sadly, completely lacking. • The food was overpriced and lacked taste. Even though cost wasn’t an issue, the quality was poor and underwhelming and not at all worth the price. • Service was extremely slow in the Restaurant. After waiting 15–20 minutes for 2 cups of coffee (₹170 + tax) and multiple follow-ups, the manager casually told us “Banalo aap” while delivering coffee to another table — highly unprofessional. • The kitchen seemed understaffed and disorganized. • There was a pungent, unpleasant smell in the wardrobe. • Water was leaking into the room, and the light went out multiple times during our stay. • The AC wasn’t functioning and had to be serviced for almost an hour while we were in the room. (Attached an image) • There was no Wi-Fi or mobile network in the room, which made it difficult to get help or access anything online. • The room phone didn’t work, so every time we needed something, we had to walk all the way to reception (even for the smallest things). • Food could not be ordered to the room — we had to go collect it ourselves from the restaurant and then bring it to the room. • The swimming pool, although a beautiful infinity pool with an amazing view of the mountains, was poorly maintained. The tiles were coming off, and I even got a cut on my foot. Thankfully, my small niece didn’t get hurt. (attached an image) This entire experience was totally disappointing, especially when traveling with a sick, elderly parent and a young child — the lack of responsiveness, accessibility, and basic hospitality made things unnecessarily stressful. The only saving grace was the beautiful view from the hotel — truly stunning and serene. Unfortunately, that alone doesn't justify the overall poor experience. Not recommended.

Beautiful location. Property is huge. Plenty of parking space. Food was not good. Both lunch and dinner buffet were average & breakfast too, Considering the price the customer is paying. Rooms Service is really poor. Do not order food in the room',it will take forever to bring it. The swimming pool is good.

We had high expectations from Upper Deck considering the charges, but the experience turned out to be very disappointing. We had booked 9 rooms for a group of 26 people, but the overall service was far below acceptable standards. Room Service: There was no room service available for à la carte orders. We had to walk all the way up to the café, wait there, collect the order ourselves, and walk back down. Given the resort’s layout, it felt like climbing 4–5 floors via staircase each time. Room Facilities: Basic amenities like the refrigerator, TV, and geyser were not working in several rooms. Upon raising the issue, the technician casually responded, "Chal raha hai, thoda time lagta hai." This lack of seriousness was frustrating. Food Quality: Not worth the amount charged. Food was average at best and didn't meet expectations for a premium resort. Service Delays: On the first evening, evening tea service was missed. Despite multiple follow-ups, staff kept redirecting us to different locations. Only after a long delay and back-and-forth, tea was finally served near the pool counter. Overall, the resort fails to justify the price point. Poor service, non-functional amenities, and disorganized staff made the stay underwhelming. Not recommended unless they seriously improve their service standards.

Do not provide any room service for any food or snacks. If you ask something from housekeeping you have to remind them twice then only you will get that. Location and restaurant food is good. Rest all below avg, no proper maintenance.

Extremely Disappointed – Not Recommended at All We booked a Deluxe Room at Upper Deck Resort Lonavala via MakeMyTrip, expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, our experience was far from it. Upon arrival, the staff gave us a completely different room (106 )than what was shown on MMT — the room was old, poorly maintained, and the washroom was in terrible condition. It hadn't been flushed properly and was absolutely unclean, which was shocking for a property of this category. We insisted on being moved to Room 142, which was similar to what we had seen while booking on MMT. After wasting time and energy with the room change, we thought things would improve, but to our surprise, the bathroom lock wasn’t working. Again, we had to call the staff, wait around 30 minutes, and get the maintenance person to fix the lock in front of us — all while we had come here to relax, not troubleshoot basic maintenance issues. Overall, we spent a good part of our start just complaining and coordinating with staff, instead of enjoying our stay. Highly not recommended — the property might have potential, but poor room conditions, lack of cleanliness, and maintenance issues ruined our experience. Save your time and money — better options are available in Lonavala.

Location of the resort is great. It is off the main highway and nestled in the hills. The resort is huge. You can walk around in the resort and enjoy the nature. We had visited in March/ april or so. This would be great to stay in the rains. The approach road to the resort is below average once you exit the main road. Be careful. Some stretches are very narrow. Food was good. Make sure to go early for breakfast to get the window side tables in the restaurant.

Very good place for resort with refresh mind. Parking place good enough to accommodate 20-30 vehicles. Big rooms but now Resort need one maintenance for eg fridge leakage, paint coming off, broken sink in bathroom etc I observed. Talking about food it is very good taste and hospitality.

Mayur Retreat is a contemporary hotel situated on Old Khandala Road, just 2.2 kilometers away from the famous Tiger's Leap. With its stylish architecture, exquisite interiors, and an array of luxurious amenities, this hotel offers a delightful stay for those looking to explore the stunning hill station. The property boasts a convenient location and well-maintained rooms, along with a pristine swimming pool. The services provided are commendable, with attentive staff always ready to assist guests.
Clean and tidy rooms. Cooperative and welcoming staff. Delicious food. Our room got upgraded to suite and was wonderful experience. Definitely a recommendation to halt at Lonavala

Really old, rusty and still highly overpriced property. It's normal 2 star hotel and not a resort. Rooms lack cleanliness even after room service. They provide water everyday in generic bottles filled with hand instead of proper bottled water even after charging 4 star price for stays. Room and hotel pictures are misleading and don't give you a real idea about the surrounding view and quality of rooms. They force you to give a review. Staff is good and helpful fulfilling their duties and providing great sevice. Overall, not terrible. Just overpriced property and misleading pictures and average rating here on Google (because of forced rating from all guests).

Outstanding Hospitality & Service – A Truly Memorable Experience at Mayur Retreat Lonavala I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing exceptional service at this hotel restaurant, and I cannot thank the entire team enough for making our stay so special. From the moment we entered, the warm welcome at the reception area set the tone – professional, friendly, and attentive. Every corner of this place reflects a high standard of hospitality. A heartfelt shout-out to the incredible restaurant team: Mamoni, Bhitali, Janiur, Maindra, Jatin, Sachin, Rohit, Navnath, Nargis, and Habbia – each one of them went above and beyond to ensure every meal was served with care, smiles, and perfect attention to detail. Their coordination and friendliness made us feel at home. Special thanks to Puran Sir and Amod Sir for their outstanding leadership. It clearly reflects in the positive energy, discipline, and excellence the team consistently delivers. Their presence brings a sense of assurance and pride to the entire staff. Truly, this was one of the best hospitality experiences we've had. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every moment was filled with warmth, efficiency, and genuine care. Highly recommended for anyone who values great service and unforgettable hospitality. Looking forward to returning soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had booked a room through MakeMyTrip for ₹4104 at Mayura Retreat and Spa, but the room initially provided was extremely disappointing — old, poorly maintained, and uncomfortable, especially with kids. The bathroom had a strong paan smell, making it unusable. We requested a room change, and they demanded an additional ₹1000, offering a slightly better room claiming it had a balcony. The new room didn’t have the promised extra cot for our two kids — instead, we were given an untidy foldable foam mattress, which we couldn’t use. All four of us ended up sharing one bed. The swimming pool was dirty and unusable, so we missed out on that amenity. Breakfast was the only saving grace, though it lacked basics like idly, vada, poori, or fresh juices — still manageable. We later travelled and stayed at hotels in Mahabaleshwar and Shirdi for similar prices, and the experience there was far superior in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and value for money. What’s even more surprising is how this hotel is rated so highly on Google and other platforms — it truly makes one question the authenticity of those reviews. Our experience certainly didn’t match the ratings.

Whispering Woods Resort in Lonavala is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. The resort offers comfortable accommodations, an outdoor pool, and various sports facilities including go-karts. It's designed to provide guests with modern amenities while surrounded by natural serenity. The property also serves as a stunning wedding venue with a spacious lawn for open-air celebrations.
I’ve been to Whispering Woods Resort before, but after the new management took over in March 2025, I noticed a massive improvement! The rooms are cleaner, the service is more efficient, and the overall ambiance feels refreshed. The staff was incredibly polite, and the food was even better than before. It truly feels like a brand-new resort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

The resort is fine but the rooms are compact with bed sheets full of fungus. I asked the room service to change the bed sheets 3 times but yet every time I got the dirty one and they said they don’t have the clean or new set of bed sheets. Thank god I had my own towel. Obviously it ruined my holiday.

The resort needs a lot of renovation and maintenance. Rooms in the picture seems to be taken long back. Condition of the rooms are not great. We upgraded to cottage room paying extra as that's supposed to be new and better rooms. Still it lacked a lot of amenities for what they claim is a 3 star resort. Amenities are bare minimum as like that of a 1 star hotel. They don't have shower gel and give you soap to use in this era of hospitality. Tea bags are kept in open. Intercom doesn't work as a result you have call them on mobile. Linens were stained. Food- half of the menu items were not available. They had mutton, fish based items listed in menu but all that was available was chicken and eggs. Food of course was a bit overpriced but that's expected being a tourist spot. Some positive that I would mention- service was quick. From what was available in food menu was really tasty. Servers were quick. They will let you park your car near tent.

We had family function of around 50+ people during mid-march. I chose this property because it was close to expressway, <3 kms from main market and yet, its quite, spacious property with pool/lawn/DJ/dormitories etc and above all, find front desk staff (Mayuri) very courteous to close the deal in short time. Our family celebration elevated to most memorable, more engaging because of Mr Sandeep Jagtap (Property Owner) personally looked into the arrangements. There was nice pleasant evening of Lonavala and we had very helpful staff around to support us, making overall experience very comfortable. Delicious food, DJ and dance floor, crackers at lawn added more stars! Overall experience was awesome as this place has something to offer every age. Children enjoyed into pool/ rain dance, DJ floor and elderly enjoyed laid back sittings near pool and chitchat till late night. Thanks to staff for giving us unforgettable nice moments. Mr. Jagtap has plans to renovate the entire property and add more staff etc so, soon this will be my first preference for future Lonavala Stays! ******* For Property (Extra ** for Safety, Close to City) **** For Helpful Staff *** Stay (Keen to see again post renovation by Apr'25)

Feedback for Whispering Woods, Lonavala (Stay: 7th & 8th June) I had an amazing experience during my stay at Whispering Woods in Lonavala. The property is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. We booked a family tent for two couples, and it was spotless and hygienic. They provided towels, a dental kit, and essential toiletries, which added to the comfort. The food and room service were excellent—quick, delicious, generous in portion size, and reasonably priced. The DJ night and gaming room added a fun and entertaining touch to our stay. The complimentary breakfast also had a decent and satisfying spread. The only area that needs improvement is the swimming pool. It was not clean, with dead flies floating and an excessive amount of chlorine, which made it less enjoyable. Overall, it’s a fantastic staycation spot, and with a bit of attention to the pool maintenance, it can be an even better experience.

As many people have mentioned in the comments section it may be a good for wedding destination. When me and my wife visited at that time also decoration for doctor couple's wedding was going on. We were only there for a single night. The labourers made so much noise that we couldn't rest at noon. We requested for the room switch for which they gave us options to choose from. We shifted there it was little quiet there atleast we could rest at night. The reasons for one star are as follows. - the interior of the room are not of the quality of 3 star. Fungus on wall and curtains. - Main door is not of good quality. It's a low quality door, cannot be used inside the house as well, forget about the main door. There is a visible gap. The door is not good enough for privacy and sound cancellation. - In the morning breakfast, there are limited options you have to order from the available options, after that they will cook the same. I ordered aaloo paratha and my wife ordered omelette. Paratha's were not great. I expected a buffet as per 3 star standards. - There is no known cafe nearby, we had to spend a good amount of money and time travelling into the market area. Also, getting an auto is also not easy we had to wait a lot as hardly any auto gets ready. - Walking through the garden pathway was difficult due to decoration work going on. We couldn't enjoy the ambience shown on the google business account. Overall not at all value for money, if you are an individual visitor!

I visited this hotel with my family and had an awesome experience right from reception to room service to dining. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Any complaint was attended within 10 min. The rooms are clean, spacious and warm. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. There are lot of activities like swimming pool, TT, pool, gym, kids play area. My whole family enjoyed the overall hospitality and had an awesome experience. We will not hesitate to recommend this property as a 5 star plus.

We recently stayed at The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Lonavala, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, though with a few areas for improvement. Property & Location: The hotel definitely feels more like a 4-star property despite being rated as a 5-star. It is located a bit away from the main city, so having your own vehicle is highly recommended. Public transport isn’t easily available to get you into the city, and walking is not a very practical option since the city center is around 3 km away. However, returning from the city is not a problem as Autos are easily available. Rooms: The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good interiors. I particularly loved the bathroom – it was large, well-designed, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The balcony view was nice and added to the overall comfort of the stay. Facilities: The gym was a bit disappointing. It is not well maintained and seems like it is rarely used. The equipment looked dated and the upkeep wasn’t what you would expect at a 5-star property. On the other hand, the swimming pool area was clean, well-kept, and inviting, a good place to relax. Dining & Breakfast: The breakfast spread was decent with good variety, but the menu remained almost the same throughout our 3-day stay. A little variation each day would have made it much better. The service during breakfast could definitely improve – it was not as prompt and attentive as one would expect. Service: In general, staff service was good in most areas of the hotel, polite and helpful, though not consistently exceptional. Ambience: The interiors of the hotel, including the lobby and common sitting areas, were neat and had a modern yet warm feel. It gave a cozy vibe, though again, not quite the luxury level expected from a 5-star. Final Verdict: It was a good stay overall, and I enjoyed the spacious rooms, good bathrooms, and the pool area. However, the gym, breakfast variety, and service quality at breakfast leave room for improvement. The location is slightly inconvenient without your own vehicle. Would recommend for a short stay if you don’t mind the distance from the city and are okay with a few compromises on the 5-star expectations.

The Fern, Lonavala – Room Review I stayed at The Fern in Lonavala and overall, it was a really pleasant experience! Highlights: • The room was cozy and well-designed—not too big, but definitely comfortable. • The bathroom was hands down my favorite part—super clean and looked really nice. • We had a balcony, but unfortunately, it didn’t come with a view. • The food and breakfast were amazing—big plus for food lovers! Service & Staff: • Huge thanks to Tlan and Bruce—their hospitality was on point and they were super helpful throughout. • We did find food stains on the bedsheets when we arrived (weird, I know), but the staff replaced them immediately, so no complaints there. Pool: • The pool was okayish—pretty small, not something you’d spend too much time in, but it was there. Final Verdict: Besides the minor sheet issue, everything else was great. Amazing food, kind staff, and a comfy stay—definitely a good option for a short getaway!

I arrived at the hotel by car and was surprised to find no valet staff at the valet desk, which is unexpected at a 5-star property. I had to park my car myself, although the security was kind enough to take me with an umbrella as it was raining. The lobby was decent in size, neither big nor small. We reached around 11 am and requested a check-in. Initially, we were asked to wait an hour, but even after 1.5 hours, the receptionist told us the room was still not ready. Luckily a senior staff member came to the reception at that moment and on asking her for the check in she immediately gave us a room, confirming the room was actually ready. The room was clean and comfortable though we noticed cracks and scratches on the walls. We had booked a mountain-view room, but the mountains were quite far away and often obscured by fog. Access to the gym, spa and games area was inconvenient as there was no lift only stairs leading down a floor. The TT table was dirty and the carrom board was covered with powder showing poor upkeep. The restaurant experience was the most disappointing. Both buffet dinner and breakfast were poorly managed with very slow service. Basic requests like clearing plates or refilling water required multiple reminders. During breakfast our table even had used napkins and half-used bottles left behind. The Receptionist - Ms. Alurja was rude and uninterested in guests, and she was the one who denied us the room even though it was ready. Overall, the hotel does not live up to 5-star standards. The property requires significant improvements in service and management to truly meet guest expectations.

Awesome Experience at The Fern! Had an amazing stay at The Fern. Everything — from the service, location, to the food — was absolutely up to the mark! The variety offered in lunch, dinner, and breakfast was impressive — something for everyone. I highly recommend including meals in your package to truly enjoy the full experience. Also, don’t miss out on the indoor games and facilities available — they really add to the overall fun and relaxation. Would definitely stay here again!

Our Recent stay at The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Lonavala i.e. Worst Hotel in Lonavala – Never Again! Staying at The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Lonavala was the biggest mistake of our family trip. This is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid it. The staff have zero ethics and no courtesy. They don’t care about your comfort — all they want is your money. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that guest satisfaction wasn’t even on their list. The rooms and washrooms were shockingly old, worn out, and downright dirty. Everything looked neglected and unhygienic. I couldn’t believe we paid for such a pathetic setup. Food was a disaster. Breakfast was bland and poorly managed, and dinner was even worse — every single dish was ridiculously sweet, including the daal that tasted more like rabri. I repeatedly requested basic items like kulcha, yet it was completely ignored. This shows how little they care about guests. This so-called “Ecotel Hotel” is nothing but a money-making trap. No quality, no ethics, no hospitality. Out of all the hotels in Lonavala, this is the one you should stay far away from. Our stay here ruined what could have been a pleasant family vacation. Giving 2 stars for good location, good view and clean room. But too many negatives in service which I'm listing below. Best to avoid this place and get better experience elsewhere for your bucks - Difficult to locate hotel as no sign boards on main road. No one picked up the phone when we tried to contact for location help. - No valet person during check-in despite heavy rainfall. The time when they need to present, no one is present. - No welcome drink offered despite others getting it. - No staff greeted us and offered to carry out bags to room. No one to guide us to our room too - One of the orders took 30 min to arrive despite calling for it thrice. Plain naan doesn't take that long and when asked they said order wasn't punched - Chicken biryani took 1 hour to arrive at room despite 20-30 min order estimate and following up thrice. - Ordered cold coffee at breakfast (paid item) but they cunningly only gave half glass. When I complained they brought a full but smaller glass. Cheating is unacceptable Writing this review during day 1 itself. God knows what else is left to be seen. Will update if required

The staff across all departments from front office to housekeeping and dining were warm, attentive, and professional. Rooms were spotless, food was delicious, and service was prompt throughout. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well managed and relaxing retreat.

Property is at great location. Rooms are also very good. But cleanliness is the issue there in room. Everything is very dirty table, windows, curtain, bedsheets. Food prices are also bit high. Food quality is above average.

The hotel might seem old / secluded at first, but it is a delight as you settle in. Rooms are a bit old, but spacious, well equipped and comfortable (we had super deluxe room with balcony). The staff is polite & very helpful round the clock. The swimming pool is also of a nice size & depth and good fun. The BIGGEST highlight is the food here! Head chef Mr. Dhan Singh and his team deliver every kind of cuisine at a great variety, quality and quantity. Really, the food was far better than our expectations; definitely plan a meal or two in their restuarant, Olive & Spices. Overall, very happy with experience! Also, smooth process by booking via Cleartrip (with good discount).

Guests can enjoy amenities such as an outdoor pool, kids' play area, and a restaurant serving delicious meals. Had a wonderful stay at Meritas Countryside Resort! The resort is peaceful and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff, especially in the dining area, were extremely humble and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious—a special mention to the Maratha sabji, which is a must-try! Service was prompt, and the overall hospitality made the experience memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a calm environment.

We went here for a short weekend, and it was a relaxing experience. One of the resorts of the Meritas group. Room: Clean, relatively spacious and well decorated. Plus comfortable and well lighted. Restaurant: Great food, friendly and fast service, and nice staff. Service: Lots of very friendly staff, always helpful and alert. Improvement points: - Please retain the friendly staff - Please post a guard in the swimming area to ensure that the Pool and the Jacuzzi are visited by guests only in swimming attire, not underwear, jeans or nightwear. It's unhygienic - Please ensure that the outside furniture in the rooms of Block 2 are not damaged or tilting Overall, a small but excellent resort. Recommend for a comfortable stay, once the improvement points are done.

Very disappointing experience at Meritas Resort. The housekeeping team was completely unhelpful. I called at 1 PM for room cleaning, but they showed up after more than 3 hours and only after multiple follow-up calls. The food was tasteless and caused stomach pain — I actually fell sick. It felt like the Meritas team is trying to fool customers. They charge Rs. 5500 per night for a Classic room (187 sq ft), and the Superior room (300 sq ft) is priced the same even on weekdays — this makes no sense. The swimming pool was dirty and heavily chlorinated. They force you to wear nylon clothes, and someone there was selling Rs. 100 swimwear for Rs. 600, clearly taking advantage of guests. The overall experience was terrible. There’s no real nature view, and nothing worth seeing around the resort. The reception staff was talking to us while smoking — the smell was unbearable. The gaming zone had almost nothing functional. In short, it was a very bad experience — not worth the money at all.

I stayed at Meritas Countryside for 2 days and, unfortunately, the experience was not at all satisfying. The staff was extremely rude and not cooperative, which left a negative impression throughout the stay. The food was decent but could definitely be better. One major drawback was their breakfast system. At most resorts, the breakfast counter remains open till 10:30, and even after that, food is not cleared away immediately. Here, they closed the counter exactly at 10:30 sharp. If guests still wanted something, they were expected to call the waiter and ask for food individually. This felt very inconvenient and unwelcoming. What makes this even more disappointing is that I have stayed at their other branch, Meritas Adore, and the experience there was absolutely wonderful. The staff was polite, service was smooth, and everything felt far more guest-friendly. Compared to that, Meritas Countryside fell short in many aspects and did not live up to the same standard. Overall, while the brand has good potential (as seen in Meritas Adore), this particular property seriously needs improvement in staff behavior, service, and overall guest experience.

This is a very nice resort with delicious food and excellent service. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The resort has a private pool where you can relax in peace, and there is also a common pool for everyone to enjoy. It is a perfect place for all types of visitors—whether you are coming with friends, family, or as a couple. The atmosphere is relaxing, enjoyable, and suitable for everyone. The only drawback is with the common pool. To enter, you must wear nylon clothes (both upper and lower). Without them, you won’t be allowed inside. The resort does sell nylon clothes, but the prices are high—₹500 for a T-shirt and ₹500 for shorts.

Very dusty room and just 3 star in name. Smelly rooms, don't have dryer, slipper, cover, water leakage from bathroom etc etc. I recommend if by mistake you're booking a room here come with a mask and needful 😷 and they don't care about your complaints.
Abhijit M — Google review
I have been a long-time customer of Meritas Countryside, but my recent experience has been very disappointing. When we order food from platforms like Blinkit or Zomato, the hotel does not allow the delivery boy to even reach the reception. Instead, a hotel staff member collects the parcel and brings it to the room. We are paying premium rates for our stay, and still, basic conveniences like directly collecting our own parcels are being restricted. If not to the room, at least the delivery boy should be allowed to hand over the parcel at the reception. Moreover, the way the staff communicated with us was not at all professional or polite. This behavior is unacceptable, especially for loyal customers who have been visiting this property for so long. Due to such poor customer service and unnecessary restrictions, I am very disappointed and I don’t think I will be returning to this hotel again.

I'll divide the review in sections so it's easier for people. 1. Rooms- Good big spacious, clean rooms alongwith bathroom Negative - no aur fresheners inside the room or bathroom a small down. 2. Resturant - The breakfast has a good spread. They also have a full fledged resturant and their food from the ala carte menu was very good (veg only). The portion size and price is also reasonable. The service is also prompt, they also deliver food to room if need be. 3. Game room - a real low of the property, the games inside are not in good condition, pool table sticks were broken, tt paddles were in bad shape, fusball table ball was missing, player broken. Also the game room had a leakage and water had seaped inside. Here they need to look into. Although I don't blame them as the people using these facilities should be held responsible. There is also a outdoor play area for children the rides are maintained and in good condition 4. The swimming pool is small, but clean. The also have a Jacuzzi but it's only cold water no hit water option available. (They also provide pool towels) 5. The staff through out the property was very good. Service was also prompt ( room or restaurant or even anywhere in the property) they will always be there to help with a smile on the face. 6. The location is also good, in a quite area just little away from from the city centre. Finally will like to mention a few things, the property needs maintenance overall due to the rains there was water accumulation on the ground, also the covering for rain protection have leakages in many areas. Overall verdict is a definite stay, value for money property 👍

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during the rainy season—yet the experience felt seamless and even delightful. As soon as the rain stopped, the gardens and public areas were meticulously cleaned and restored. Seeing that kind of care immediately after rainfall was highly impressive and spoke volumes about their attention to detail in maintaining a pristine atmosphere. The food deserves a special mention. Everything we tasted was exquisitely prepared—flavors that felt genuine and well‑balanced. Staff service was outstanding: friendly, responsive, and consistently going the extra mile.

Not worth the price at all. The hotel is just basic and the pictures are deceiving. The staff are not friendly and welcoming. I could have paid a little more for a 5 star hotel and made my trip worthwhile. The breakfast was the worst, the dining staff were confused and couldn't handle the place. The food has no variety, the bakery items were stale. Bathrooms will ruin your mood. Don't go by what you see in the pictures. It's basic and nothing fancy.

This place is good if you want to relax for a day or two. Resort ambience is good. Rooms are okay. They need to do some renovation inside the room like changing the sofa, pillows, AC, etc. The service staff is good and very cooperative. They are quick in service. This property is having inhouse kitchen which serves the lunch and dinner as well. The price is a bit high but the food quality is good. They maintain the hygiene in the restaurant. The breakfast is good. They served multiple options in the breakfast. Cons - 1. A bit far from the main tourist points. 2. They do not allow to check in if you reach there early by an hour or two. (That is my experience.)

Rooms are enough spacious. Maintenance wise this place needs to be improved. My experience - AC Remote not working TV remote not working Hotel intercom telephone not working Restaurant for morning breakfast is so tiny. Very congested. Food quality was ok but very oily served. Cost to Service - should avoid visiting this place. At same price range, better options are available in the vicinity.

Aai Ekvira Devi Temple and Karla Caves is a beautiful blend of spirituality and history. Located atop a small hill near Lonavala, the temple is a sacred place for devotees, especially from the Koli community. Be ready for a moderate climb of around 200 steps, but the divine energy and scenic view at the top make it totally worth it. Adjacent to the temple are the ancient Karla Caves—Buddhist rock-cut caves dating back over 2000 years. The main chaitya (prayer hall) with its massive pillars and carved details is breathtaking. The whole area offers a peaceful and spiritual experience with a touch of history and nature. Tips: Visit early in the morning to avoid crowds and heat. Wear comfortable shoes. Local food and refreshments are available at the base. A must-visit spot if you’re in or around Lonavala!

Scenic spot
Khandala Ghat View Point is a picturesque and winding road that links Khandala and Lonavala with the plains of Maharashtra. It offers breathtaking views of the valley, hills, waterfalls, and tunnels, making it a popular destination for bikers and road trippers. The viewpoint is particularly serene at dawn, providing an ideal vantage point to witness nature's grandeur as the sun rises over Lonavala.
Breathtaking Views – Especially in Monsoon! Khandala Ghat is truly a gem in the Western Ghats! We visited during the rainy season, and the entire area looked like a green paradise. 🌧️🌄 The clouds rolling over the hills, waterfalls cascading down the cliffs, and cool breeze made it a perfect getaway from city life. The drive through the ghat section was smooth and scenic, with several viewpoints to stop and soak in the beauty. Tiger Point and Duke’s Nose offer stunning panoramic views. Monsoon adds a magical charm — mist everywhere, fresh greenery, and dozens of small waterfalls along the way. A must-visit for road trip lovers, nature enthusiasts, and photographers. Whether you’re just passing through or planning a stay in Lonavala/Khandala, don’t miss the ghat route!
Assan C — Google review
Khandala Ghat View Point is one of the most popular stops on the Pune-Mumbai Highway. It is a place where travelers take a short break to enjoy the view of the Western Ghats. Location and Access The viewpoint is located on the highway near Khandala. It is easy to reach by car or bus, and you can park your vehicle nearby. During weekends and holidays, the area can get crowded, so parking may take some time. View and Atmosphere The main attraction here is the wide view of the green hills, valleys, and curving roads below. During the monsoon season, the place looks especially beautiful with fog, waterfalls, and clouds covering the mountains. Many people stop to take photos, as the view is very scenic. The air is fresh, and it feels peaceful if you come during less busy hours. Facilities There are small food stalls near the viewpoint where you can get tea, coffee, corn, and snacks. Washrooms are not always in good condition, so it is better to plan ahead. Carrying drinking water with you is a good idea. Safety The viewpoint is by the roadside, so you need to be careful while parking or standing near traffic. During rainy season, the ground can be slippery, so wear proper footwear. Families with children should stay close together as the edge of the viewpoint does not always have strong barriers. Best Time to Visit The best time to come is during the monsoon (June–September) when the mountains are green and full of waterfalls. Early morning or evening gives the best views with cool weather. Overall Experience Khandala Ghat View Point is a quick but memorable stop on the highway. It gives travelers a chance to relax, enjoy natural beauty, and take photos of the ghats. With a little care for safety and basic needs, the visit is refreshing and worth it.

Booked two rooms - one room TV did not work; one other room side bed broken. Despite complaints nothing was fixed. Food ordering took more 1 hr. Only good review - good location Also service is poor. Game zone machines are not well maintained And swimming pool size is a big joke!

One of the worst experiences I have had with sterling resorts. The resort is old and dilapidated without proper maintenance. We had visited during weekdays. The staff and the service was abysmal. The lift is also old and felt shaky. The hotels seemed like a haunted house super quiet, only disturbed by the noise of the vehicles on the highway close by. Would never recommend anyone visit this hotel. Also there are basically no good views to wake up to, one side faces the road and the other side faces fallow land.

Avarage hotel. Rooms are old school. Room service is slow. Food is average. Options for infants are lees but baby khichdi provided to us was good enough. With less staff they are trying to manage.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Alcohol is allowed, which added to the fun we had throughout our visit. The swimming pool was a highlight - clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating, and they even allowed us to extend our checkout time, which was a big plus. The food was delicious and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place for a great, enjoyable stay!

Rooms are spacious and clean, but sparsely furnished with not a single chair or table. Location is convenient being at the city center, yet peaceful. The breakfast was decent with reasonable options. Food was good. We did not use most of the amenities, hence can not comment. The swimming pool looks clean. I loved it that they provided bathroom slippers without asking and drinking water was provided freely too. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Loved the hospitality of all the staff esp Ms. Dinakshee at the front desk. She has been very helpful and resolved all our concerns with such ease. Even the food at the in-house resort was very delicious, whatever we had ordered. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Just that the wifi was dropping quite often and not very strong. Didn't receive a continuous network service. Must visit this place for a comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at Resort, Lonavala, and it was a truly refreshing experience! The location is absolutely perfect – surrounded by greenery with a peaceful hilltop view that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities in place. The staff was very polite and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious with a good variety, and dining with such a scenic backdrop made it even more enjoyable. The poolside area and open spaces are great for relaxing, and the overall atmosphere is calm and rejuvenating – exactly what you need for a getaway from the city. What I loved most was the balance between comfort and nature. It’s a wonderful place for families, couples, or even a group of friends. Hotel Hill Forest - Honest Review We recently stayed at Hotel Hill Forest. The overall experience was okay, but there were a few ups and downs. To start with, the lunch was quite disappointing the food lacked flavor and freshness. However, they really turned it around during dinner, which was a noticeable improvement. Big shoutout to Anuj, who was very cooperative and helpful throughout our stay. The pool was a plus deep and clean, perfect for a proper swim. We had an issue with the TV not working initially, but thankfully, the staff responded and got it fixed without much delay. Overall, it's a decent place with some areas to improve, especially the food quality during lunch. Service and effort by the staff were appreciated.

⭐ 1/5 Worst Experience Ever! I had an extremely disappointing stay at Hill Forest Resort. The rooms were of very poor quality and completely unhygienic. The washroom smelled bad, cobwebs were everywhere, and the bedsheets were dirty. The AC was not working properly, and to make things worse, the room was full of flies and insects. The service was equally bad – no professionalism, no care for guests. Honestly, this place ruined the trip experience. Would never recommend this resort
AHMED K — Google review
Nestled in the lush greenery that Lonavala is famous for, Hotel Hill Forest Resort undoubtedly has location and scenery on its side. The initial drive up to the property builds anticipation, with panoramic views of the mist-clad valleys and the promise of a peaceful retreat. The outdoor areas, including a decently sized pool and well-maintained gardens, are picturesque and perfect for those holiday photos. However, this pleasing first impression is, unfortunately, where the resort’s highlights end, giving way to significant disappointments that prevent it from being a recommended stay. The most immediate and off-putting issue upon entering our room was the unpleasant smell. It wasn’t just a faint mustiness one might excuse in a humid hill station; it was a persistent, damp odour that seemed ingrained in the furnishings. It felt like the room hadn't been properly aired out or deep-cleaned in quite some time. While we hoped we would acclimatise to it, the smell lingered for our entire night stay, making the room an uncomfortable place to relax. This points to a serious lack of attention to basic hygiene and maintenance. Compounding the room issue was the consistently lacklustre service. The staff at the reception, while not outright rude, were disinterested and inefficient. Check-in was ok, and simple requests, like asking for extra towels or an additional pillow, were not met with and if at all met with then met with blank stares and took multiple reminders and hours to fulfil. The housekeeping service was equally lax. Our room was cleaned haphazardly, with basics like emptying the bins and replenishing tea/coffee supplies often overlooked. There was a clear absence of proactive service or any genuine willingness to assist, making us feel more like an inconvenience than valued guests. The restaurant food was average—neither exceptionally good nor terribly bad—but the service there was slow. Waiting for a simple room service order to arrive felt like a test of patience. It’s a true shame because the potential of Hill Forest Resort is visible. The ambience of the common areas and the beauty of its natural surroundings are its biggest assets. It could be a wonderful three-star getaway with some concerted effort. In conclusion, Hotel Hill Forest Resort rests on its scenic laurels while neglecting the fundamentals of hospitality. You are essentially paying for the view. If you are a traveller who prioritises a immaculate, fresh room and efficient, courteous service, you will likely leave disappointed. It might suffice for a large, noisy group trip where you spend very little time in the room, but for couples or families seeking a comfortable and refreshing break, the musty odours and indifferent service make it a difficult place to recommend wholeheartedly. A thorough deep-clean and comprehensive staff training are desperately needed.

The hotel has major upkeep issues. Renovation badly required. Needs painting, new laundry required, new sports equipments required too. Currently the pool table have broken cue sticks, the carrom board is badly damages, the table tennis bats have no rubber pads at all. The management needs to take care of these things which I doubt would be a major cost. However on the upside, the staff was extremely courtous and polite and very helpful. The food at the restaurant is extremely good and well priced. Thank you

There were lots of cockroaches in our room coming out of the bed .The housekeeping guy came at 1:00 am clean & remove the cockroaches. Then too there we're many. They should ensure that the rooms are clean & tidy before the guest arrives. We were unable to sleep because of the same. Telephones in the room were'nt working. It's not a matter of money but it's matter of good services & cleanliness. As we pay we except a good service and clean place.

Huge and excellent property!!!The rooms are spacious and service is prompt. It's a perfect place for staycation with family and kids. Many activities for kids to do.Your kids don't get bored at all They have a big and clean swimming pool. Food quality is REMARKABLE.whether it's buffet or à la carte . We had ordered chicken tandoori, the preparation was so very optimum no added artificial red colour, perfectly juicy.!!!!They have in house bakery serving delicious cakes. Breakfast also they have many options with taste 10/10. Highly recommended!!!!

I have stayed at Villa San Lawrenz on 26th July 2025 and below are my genuine observations. 1. Location of this resort is not good. You need to cross railway crossing and sometime due to traffic specially in this monsoon season you will stuck there for almost an hour or so. Very narrow roads and not good at all. There is no view or anything from this resort. 2. This resort is over priced a lot. They charged me Rs.12500/- for one night for one family with one kid. Considering the overall ambience, this shouldn't be more than 8k for a family with one kid of 13 yrs. 3. Rooms are spacious and clean however they don't have dispenser in bathroom, instead they provide you soap and every shampoo also they kept the sachet of Rs.1 Sunsilk. If you are charging Rs.12500/- for one night atleast you should have dispenser and bottles for soap and shampoo. No room slippers, no dental kit. Refrigerator is not in working condition. 4. Swiming pool is really good and clean and indoor games are good too. Seating space in the hotel is good. 5. Food quality is average and chinese items are below average. Non veg items are pathetic and even after complaint also they are like lot of guests are there so can't do much. 6. Staff is courteous but as I said people from Mumbai won't care much to pay 13k because they need a break from the hustle life in Mumbai however there are many other good options in Lonavla at this price. Fariyas resort, Ambey Valley, Upper Deck, Trikaya in Kamshet. 7. Checking is at 1:00 PM but checkout is strict at 10:00 am otherwise they will charge extra. 8. Best part is they serve complimentary high tea with lot of evening snacks, which you usually don't see anywhere.

Booked the Family Suite at Villa San Lawrenz in Pune for my family, which clearly mentioned 3 single beds. Despite this, on arrival they were charged an additional ₹2,100 for an “extra bed”, simply because the third guest was an adult. This felt like an unjustified charge and poor customer service, especially when the room was advertised as suitable for three. The food was mediocre at best, and the service was consistently slow and unresponsive. For the ₹15,000 + ₹2,100 we paid, the overall experience fell well short of expectations. The quality of stay, food, and hospitality simply does not justify the exorbitant prices. Would not recommend.

I have stayed in this resort for 5 days for my company's training purpose. Rooms are quite big but bathrooms are small room service is not up to good. And food quality is average. Location is bit issue. You want get any public transport out of resort or any other option. So you have to call auto rickshaw by given number from reception. My suggestion is don't book here for your family holiday or with friends.

Very nice hotel. Full greenery in even hottest summer days. Very calm place in nature’s lap. Beautiful dense plantation . Nice view from room balcony. You can listens various birds sounds from surrounding dense trees. Swimming pool is very nice. Lot of play in door out door for children as well as adults. Service is very polite and you get all required support there. Food quality is need to improve. Suggestions: Dont go for buffet dinners and brake fast as over prised wrt quality. So go for independent order which is very economical and value for money. Rooms are very spacious and nature garden swimming pool facing. Major cons: Please enquire and ask to confirm all room maintenance check for working ok. I got room and same day the wash room exhaust stop working and commod water getting leak from over flow passage. That cause very inconvenience. But if you ask them to check all this before check in then they will sure sort out all issues and make your stay comfortable as staff is very much polite, helpful and available all time.

This resort is a perfect blend of comfort and luxury at an affordable price. The rooms are well-kept with scenic views, and the bathrooms are clean and hygienic. It’s easy to locate and features great amenities like a game zone, swimming pool, and gourmet restaurant. The mini waterfall near the pool adds charm. Helpful staff and top-notch vibes make it a 10/10 staycation.
Hunar A — Google review
We booked two rooms for two nights at Meritas Crystal through MakeMyTrip. Two days before check-in, I called the hotel to request adjacent rooms, but they denied the request, citing full occupancy. Even after upgrading and paying extra, we were not given adjacent rooms, despite seeing room availability on makemytrip. This was disappointing and not explained by the staff. The location is very convenient, about a kilometer before Kumar Resort. The rooms were decent in size, but the property clearly feels old—paint was peeling, furniture had spots, linens were dull, and the shower was faulty, even in the premium rooms. The hotel definitely needs refurbishment. Amenities include a restaurant, dedicated games room, open play area, pool, kids' play area, parking, and valet. However, room service was below expectations. On the positive side, the breakfast spread was good and included Jain options. Overall, I did not find the hotel value for money, possibly due to higher charges over the long weekend. I would likely avoid this hotel in the future.

Memorable Stay at Meritas Crystal Resort We had a wonderful experience at Meritas Crystal Resort, creating memories to cherish. The Jacuzzi room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful scenic view, which made our stay extra special. The food was decent, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. While there aren’t many dining options nearby, the resort does offer a buffet dinner, which we found to be quite good — although it’s not listed in the app, you can ask for it and pay directly at the hotel. Breakfast was average, but sufficient, and I’ve attached some pictures of the breakfast items for reference. Overall, a great stay for a relaxing getaway!

I had a great stay at Meritas Crystal Resort in Lonavala. The hotel is well-maintained with clean and spacious rooms that felt really comfortable. One of the highlights for me was the ample parking space—it made things super convenient, especially since we were driving in. The breakfast buffet was also impressive with a good variety of options and everything tasted fresh. Overall, a great place for a weekend getaway—calm, clean, and well-equipped!
Abhijeet W — Google review
Waste of money and worst experience The rooms were really old and definitely needs refurbishment. The walls and floor of the rooms were damaged and had pest infestation. The bath tub that we paid extra for was the dirtiest tub I have ever seen. The breakfast buffet was good though. The swimming pool was well maintained and had a good view. The gaming room had really old game boards and the pieces were really damaged. The location of the place is convenient to visit all the tourist’s attraction sites. Overall, paying such amount of money for a below par experience is definitely not a good feeling for people who want to have a pleasant stay.

The rooms were really comfortable, the food was a pleasure to the palate, the staff is eager to please, and the accessibility of the resort is very good. The location is very near the highway and convenient during high traffic days. The service is very good and the staff are polite and always ready to accept suggestions. The registration counter, restaurant and room service staff all are very courteous. The resort will give other hotels a run for their money only if they do repairs and renovation which is badly needed.

We booked for standard room. But they had upgraded it to Deluxe. Rooms are spacious. Was too good. We stayed in 221 which i believe is old part of the building. Interior of the room was good but dont expect too much as the building is old. Paint of the walls were bit worn out. But overall it was good. Breakfast spread was compact but the taste was too good. Go for a Dinner + Breakfast package. For dinner, they had lamb curry, chilli fish, veg marthan, panner, chesse corn fried balls etc. Superb and worth it. Taste was awesome. Overall worth the price

Nestled atop a tranquil hill within a gated community, it offers a peaceful retreat far from the bustle of Lonavala town. The rooms are spacious, with balconies that open up to lush views. Ours had both a private terrace and a balcony, where clouds drifted through, leaving behind misty, magical moments. The serene surroundings are perfect for leisurely walks in the rain. The property also features a large swimming pool and an in-house restaurant, adding to the convenience and charm. The staff here are hardworking, attentive, and go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and needs are met. Overall, it’s one of the best monsoon getaways you can experience.

Due to service I am giving 3 Star otherwise it should get 1 star. Rooms were not clean. washrooms were stinking and then manager said that we have cleaned them just now. Overall only service is good. Hotel was not upto the mark will not prefer to go there again.

Velvet County Resort & Spa Review Stayed recently and was really impressed! The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer lovely valley views. The service has improved a lot under the new management—staff is polite and responsive. Food was a highlight—delicious, especially the Indian and tandoori dishes. Peaceful location makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Food and service are awesome. The swimming pool was not clean, they mentioned it's under process. Food area can be more clean, you will feel like old property but it's quite peaceful. Go for it.

It was an amazing place to stay! Just beautiful. People are so good, location is nice and cozy. Nice views. Food is great!! Overall it was peaceful and just made both my days worth it. On top of it all, Rani was loving as well (she was a dog)

We had a fantastic stay at Lake View Resort. The staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating throughout our stay. What really stood out was their understanding—when we couldn’t come on our originally booked dates due to a health issue, they kindly allowed us to check in two weeks later without any hassle. The hotel itself was very comfortable, and the garden was especially beautiful—perfect for a relaxing time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great service and a peaceful environment!

Dont go after a heat wave the lake was completely dry ....the main tourist attraction was absent .....that was the only thing we didnt like ...other than that the service was amazing ...humble and kind people and staff .....very respectful ....you should visit after monsoon so that the lake view is present.
Aaliyah S — Google review
Peaceful location with amazing lake view, neat and clean rooms and restaurant was super clean, a perfect place to relax. Service was good. Lake view during rains is the best. Food 5 stars. There are games to play on the terrace. Terrace needs a little renovation and need to be cleant. Quiet near to the main spots Tiger point and Bushi dam. Feedback for Resort - Small kids can open the window easily just to avoid any mishaps please put a latch on the top of the window that opens in the rooms.

Well the resort was too good to be true because when we arrived we were given such a warm welcome and oh my god the rooms were roo spacious and too good to he true. Like my room has an attached balcony which gave view of the swimming pool and play area right below. The indoor play area is also amazing and dj parties keep happening. The washrooms were also good and kindof transparent unless you pull down the shutters . It was fun doing that with friends. Amazing place with Amazing aesthetics
Naisha S — Google review
Overall experience was unsatisfactory. The ambience is good .Food is some how good. Trained lifeguard is required near swimming pool.House keeping staff is required professional training & etiquette. The room I stayed in ( room no. 115) lacked basic necessities like soap and shampoo dispenser etc plus the bedsheets were torn. Also this was the first time in my life when welcome drink was "self-served'. The negative reviews by other guests are completely true. Make your choice wisely. Highly regret my stay here.
Pravin A — Google review
The resort is not recommended for families to stay. The pool size is small compared to shown in the image. The buffet had no starters and main course items were also limited and quality was inadequate. So we decided to order from the menu. They took 1.5 hours to serve lunch. The service was so poor that we were not getting water after multiple requests. For dinner they refused to serve the order (because again we ordered from the menu) and they forced us to take dinner in the room only. We were celebrating our anniversary, however they refused to provide a table for cake cutting. It cost 7500 for one family for one day stay including food, but the service was pathetic.
Alok T — Google review
Viola Beacon Resort in Lonavala offers spacious, well-equipped rooms with scenic views. The restaurant serves a decent mix of Indian and continental food. Facilities include pools, indoor games, and a kids’ play area. While staff is polite, service can be slow, and the kids’ play area could be cleaner. Still, it's a pleasant, family-friendly stay close to popular spots.
Pradip P — Google review
The room had mountains view. We had booked two rooms and they gave us interconnected rooms, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is small in height but has many rooms across two floors. Morning breakfast was complementary but below average. Room service was not so good...but after a number of requests from our side they attended to each of our requests. In amenities they had a play area for kids and adults, a swimming pool and a small sized garden. We had ordered tur dal in room, it was really bad. Room was neat and clean, and good size. Overall a budget hotel with great room size and view.

I visited this resort with my Family in April 2025. The check in time was 2 pm however upon our request the staff allowed early check in. This is very good. Also the food and the service was excellent, the staff were very cooperative. The resort offers everything one needs for a good stay, pool, playzone for kids. I would definitely recommend this resort. Just to add : For my muslim brothers there's also a mosque near at 2 min walking.

Food service was too slow, took 1 hour to bring 2 items, quality was pathetic. We had left it in between to have food outside.. Rooms with dirty linen. Otherwise room was ok.... To add on this whatever food we had it spoiled our stomach and lead to food poisoning. ..

The hotel is situated at good location. The rooms are OK as per the cost. The hotel is good for those who wish to stay at hotel to sleep and do not wish to spend on hotels. The food served at lunch was very tasty. The staff was supportive for providing service of food at the room. It is a budget hotel and I recommend for those who wish to spend money on enjoying outside instead of paying hotel just to sleep.

All the reviews are fake. I had booked the room for Rs.6000 for one day. This place does not deserve more than 1500 bucks. The rooms which they initially show us are jail like ,all view blocked and no ventilation. After requesting they have shifted us to a room with better ventilation. Please don’t book this room looking into the pictures /review .Even if this hotel is the last available option ,then please cancel your trip. And the photos which they have posted online differs much more than the actual room.

The deputy of swimming pool is not more than 1 feet. I won't recommend this for families
Vijay J — Google review
Very poor management. Bedsheets, blankets were not cleaned. It had hair & spots fallen on it & cotton used in beds was of cheap quality. Air conditioner fan had very low speed & temperature controller was faulty. Limited parking space for only 2-3 cars & after parking they told me to remove it 3-4 times for making space to water tanker. Mosquito repellent was not given for 2 nights, so night went sleepless. Water jar was filled at check in. After that several follow ups had to be taken to get it filled again. Food very costly & also making wrong billing during check out & trying to argue on it. Location & rooms are good but manager is very idle. He should be active & helpful. Else it's a good resort but will spoil the rating & due to bad service & management.

Had been here as part of team outing! The place is really well placed and you can see the mountains at the backyard. We played some outdoor games and they provided starters which included sandwiches and onion pakoras. Food was good. They also provide space for marriage and other family gatherings. One can definately plan a group outing once here.

Nice property but badly maintained. Food is pathetic. They could not arrange Breakfast for 34 people. Breakfast came in part & parcel . We end up having bread butter. Room service is bad.. rooms are poorly lit. DJ was arranged on the stage as one is not supposed to dance on the grass... So it was like performing on the stage... The only good thing was the people friendly pets they have in the farm.
Shubhra M — Google review
It's a good place to visit but need to do maintainance more also the room service is poor and needs lots of improvements , bathroom doesn't have exhaust window. Food quality is excellent and cost at par. To and fro from hotel to city @ 150rs each time is expensive so you need your own vehicle. Activities in a resort are missing so feels like a normal hotel and not a resort
Bhavin K — Google review
A perfect getaway from city Hussle. Well managed space, infrastructure is good, spacious rooms and food is ok. So here’s my take on this place. Resort: Resort is located at old lonavala Road 10 to 15 min distance from Lonavala Market. The entrance of the resort gives you a pleasant feeling with huge trees surrounding it. One can take a nice walk/run/jog around the property whenever you feel like also there is a small lake with boat however it’s not operational. Mystica has a decent swimming pool ( I would say it’s a small swimming pool if there is 15 people in the pool you will feel it’s crowded). This is a perfect place for wedding / cooperate events etc. You have decent parking area inside the resort Room: The room in which we stayed was nice and clean with all adequate toiletries in bathroom. Games/Activity: Play cricket or football if you like around the grass area. They have a gym for which you have to pay extra. Staff: The hotel staff is friendly and kind My Overall experience was nice.

It is not still a fully developed resort. 1. The restaurant service is pathetic and takes a long duration to serve food once we order. 2. The swimming pool is too small. Since, it's rainy season there is no boating or other outdoor activities. 3. Recommended to book rooms through goibibo or other apps since the cost of room if we book there directly is too high. 4. It's quite near to view points and other tourist spots.

I loved this place. The entrance of this place looks like going through a society but once you enter the premises the 1st impression you will get is it's awesome. The entrance of the resort is also wonderful. They have swans in their pond. I just loves this place. They have ample space for parking. The employees are also wonderful, they help us as much as they can. One place where you would love to stay. The place is very close to the highway and lonavala center.

City Palace Resort is a casual hotel with simple rooms and an outdoor pool. The property is well-maintained, with clean rooms and bathrooms, and excellent service. While the hotel's kitchen may be closed for repairs, they offer delicious food through a local restaurant for room service. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool on-site. However, there are some drawbacks such as the non-existent internet connection and the absence of an in-house restaurant due to maintenance work.
I have been to this place for a 2 nights stay, this place is in close proximity to the Shree Narayani Dham, for those who are expecting a quite stay and have vehicle to travel this place is a gem under very low budget. Rooms are excellent and have ample parking space for your vehicle. Would surely visit this place if needed.

Great stay! The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and felt like home with thoughtful amenities like toothpaste, brush, soap, shampoo, and towels. However, the mattress was two single mattresses pushed together, which made it a bit firm and uncomfortable at times. Apart from that, everything was good, and I appreciated the cleanliness and overall experience.

It was a quiet and peaceful weekend getaway. The caretaker is also very kind and helpful. The best part about the property is there are cats all over. It makes your stay extremely pleasant 🙂 10/10 would recommend for families as the rooms come with AC, Refrigerator and a microwave oven. The property is full of amenities and will make your stay very comfortable 🙂
Khushboo T — Google review
Didn't even mention about price, you really need to be taught how to talk to customers. Again very disrespectful staff also the caretaker showed us rooms and we checked it thoroughly and the bedsheets had lots of stains and dirty room. The pool looks haunted, doesn't have proper lighting. A Big no again
Quish W — Google review
If Google had an option of reviewing in minus, I would have definitely gone for negative reviews. The pictures sent and the property we went to is completely different. I booked it for 2N 3D but everything was so terrible that we checked out the very next day. Starting with the flaw 1. The sign board was next to invisible. 2. It has a small pool which is filthy. 3. The floors of the room is so unclean that you can feel the dirt beneath your feet 4. The bedsheets and curtains are stained. 5. The window panes are frozen/broken. 6. Sofa is uneven. One cannot sleep or sit on it. 7. AC is set on one temperature o ly. You can't help but bear it. 8. Bathroom is too untidy to even enter. The bathtub is broken. Mirror is black stained. Taps are broken. No water. Dustbin is broken. 9. They charged Rs.4500/- per night for 2 rooms excluding breakfast and meals. Overall, it was a terrible experience and too costly
Shweta C — Google review
Very very bad experience. First of all room were not clean at all, water was not coming in washbasin, and sink. Even after complaining problem did not get solved. All the toilet and bathroom tap were sticky. Bathtub was badly broken and in no situation to use, when I asked about and requested change they said no room is empty where bathtub is proper. No hot water, geyser was not functioning. Running water was not good. Badsheet was also not clean. Wifi was not working. Had worst experience, was planning to stay more but checked out next day. Do not go for it at all.
Priyank M — Google review
We decided to stay at this place leaving Velvet County (amazing place) based on the photos the outside looks good. But wait, enter the lobby and rooms...feels.like ur in a ghost house. Positives - nil Negatives - dirty rooms, seems like they haven't maintained it since aggggessss!! They are all sorts of insects in the room, everything smells. The fridge had water leaking inside it with dead flies. The room is intensely humid and the floors remain wet all the time, can't Walk without slippers. There were dead insects as well. The bathroom - ugh! Yuk yuk yuk. The toiled and dead flies...again! The bathtub was dirty. Water flow was terribly slow.. I literally, with a broken heart let go of the amount paid and shifted to a different resort! 1500 gone waste. Although this is very cheap, at least they could've maintained basic cleanliness. I just couldny stand this place. Abosultely terrible! Spend a lil more and go to a better place where at least it's Clean! It felt like and abandoned place or a haunted villa.
Shubham D — Google review
I would have given Zero star but it's not available. The condition of room was pathetic. Bedsheet was dirty, same condition of pillow Dirty toilet 🚽 Geyser was working but no hot water from tap. The jaquzi was broken was not able to take bath. And in Night there with be several voice from outside.... couldn't sleep Some years back it was ok But now the owner is not maintaining the property. Because i went unplanned so opted such a pathetic hotel.
Ustad Z — Google review
The room is good with all facilities, but no service. I would recommend to take this hotel as a homestay with just room. They will give refrigerator, microwave and even kitchen. The restaurant here is very good but can keep you waiting for long. Tip: locate this hotel inside inside valley resort as no sign board is available
Viplove M — Google review
Parking facility was the only best thing at this property. Swimming pool was badly maintained. Looking at the water it felt the pool wasn't cleaned for days neither the water was filtered. Property is shared between Indus valley resort and GA studio apartment Lonavla. The washroom had bathtub which was too dirty. Bucket was greased with some stinky substance. Kitchen area was said to be functional but after visiting we found out that it's just for name sake with dirty bowls and glasses. There was one caretaker who manged the reservations. For everything needed, he is to be called and then he comes after 10-15minutes. Moreover there is no network in the room and no wifi facility available. To make call we had to come out of the room and search for network. In the shelves there was used stuff kept by some worker there and used towel was stuffed in the cupboard. Cupboard door was broken. Hygiene was extremely poor and there were cockroaches and flies. I had read mixed reviews of this property before booking but personally it was a huge disappointment.
