If ever got tried of eating biriyani and pizzas, then come over here and dwell into the authentic Odia taste. Well cooked , neat and clean. Among all dishes the Dalma stood apart.

Worst hotel , Very bad behaviour with tourists . If you ask to clean them they will not clean and behave as if you need to go to a restaurant they don't want costumes. Arrogant staff and owner.

Vegetarian restaurant
Hare Krishna Restaurant Pvt. Ltd., located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, offers a delightful dining experience for vegetarians. The restaurant features stylish yet unpretentious decor with beautifully lacquered Gujarati sankheda furniture. Guests can savor a variety of veg dishes including curries, biryanis, and tandoor-baked flatbreads in a soothing ambiance.
The restaurant serves one of the best pure veg dishes. The papad curry stands out the best which has been a must try dish there. The ambience is very soulful and authentic. I have never thought dishes could be so finger licking without even onion and garlic. The prices are bit higher but food taste is worth it. They don't accept UPI. So carry card or cash. Enjoy!
Tanmaya N — Google review
A vegetarian place that serves food without onion and garlic. They have an extensive menu, mainly Indian cuisine. More of a family restaurant. Table service is good. We ordered Naan, Paneer Curry and Mix Veg. The food was really good and tasty. But it was kinda pricey, considering much better vegetarian fine dining places are available in Bhubaneswar. Also, they will ask you for a tip, whether you want to or not. Other than that, a decent place.
Aradhana M — Google review
Great pure Vegetarian restaurant in Bhuvaneshwar, Hard to locate as no board display, shares entrance with Lalchand shop. Friendly staff and very clean, air-conditioned restaurant. Specialist in no onion and no garlic food. Tandoori Roti and Gobi Manchurian is great

A good place for pure vegetarian food. All the dishes are cooked without onion and garlic. The quantity is on the lower side but the taste is superb.Ambience and decor is also top notch. The price is slightly on the higher side.

Nice Vegetarian Restaurant Option This is a pure vegetarian restaurant. The food was tasty, and the ambience was pleasant. However, I feel the pricing is on the higher side, especially considering the overall ambience. It cost us Rs. 3,500 for six people. The service could definitely be improved. Despite only 30% of the seats being occupied during our visit, it took nearly half an hour just to serve two additional naans we ordered. That kind of delay was disappointing.
Santanu B — Google review
What an incredible experience each and every time. The staff, the food and the ambience has remained the same for the last two decades (or more, don’t remember). Whenever I am craving veg food, this is my go-to place in the city. Nothing else comes close. Recommended dishes: Paneer Butter Masala, Navratna Korma, Vegetable Jhal Frazi and Vegetable Fried Rice.

Located at master canteen square above lal chand jewellery shop. Easy to find. Vehicle parking is Lil bit headache becoz of busy area. The ambience is spectacular. The service is very nice. Staffs are well behaved. Very neat & clean. The food tastes so nice. They provide authentic vegetarian food without onion & garlic. The price is somewhat at a higher side. I would recommend once in a while visit there & enjoy their food with good company.

Truptee Veg Restaurant is a charming spot in Bhubaneswar that caters to vegetarian food lovers with its extensive menu featuring dishes from various culinary traditions. The restaurant boasts a simple yet inviting decor, making it an ideal place for those seeking comfort while enjoying their meals. With offerings ranging from North Indian and South Indian specialties to regional Odia cuisine, Truptee Veg Restaurant truly celebrates the diversity of vegetarian dining.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding vegetarian restaurant, and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm, welcoming, The menu offers a wide variety of pure vegetarian dishes, blending traditional flavors with a modern twist. Every dish was a treat — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great suggestions without being intrusive. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were clearly top-notch, adding to the overall comfort of the experience. Whether you're a lifelong vegetarian or simply exploring plant-based options, this place is a must-visit. High quality, great value, and a memorable dining experience. Can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommended!

A decent pure vegetarian restaurant in Bhubaneswar, having it's seating area in the basement. Food & Ambience is nice, although the price is a little bit on the higher side. The sabzi & starters are good. The buttermilk is really good 👍🏻. But the roti is too chewy, not at all worth ₹50. Avoid it. Rice was good, but the dal was average, could have been better Paneer Lollipop - yummy Chinese starter that looked just like your typical Paneer Crispy. Paneer finger Masala - good Veg Kolhapuri - average, can be better. Jeera Rice - good 👍🏻 Buttermilk - very good 👍🏻 Dal makhni - can be avoided. I have had much better Dal before. Tandoori Roti - very chewy, not at all soft. AVOID!

After seeing very good google reviews, Me and My family visited this hotel on August 1st for dinner,so as mentioned in reviews food was good. But the ambience and the atmosphere is very bad. There is no proper washroom near to dining space. Mainly we had some bad experience from the security and staffs while we visited, when we visited the restaurant we tried to park our car infront of the restaurant where the park space available for 3 cars, eventhough there is a space to park a car, security told us to park in the next road. Later we said him see we are visiting the restaurant only so why should we park somewhere else, then he started to shout on us. Later we gone to the counter and explained the scenario there is no response from them.By seeing their negligence we started shouting, then one of the staff came and sorted the issue. After that we finished our dinner and went back to get in to our car, again this idiot security intentionally parked one bike next to our car, like we are unable to open the car doors made another seen. So Beware of it,the popularity made them to show carelessness towards their customer.

Trupti Restaurant, Bhubaneswar One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Bhubaneswar! Trupti offers a perfect mix of South Indian, North Indian, and Odia vegetarian dishes — all freshly prepared and full of authentic flavor. The dosas are crisp, the thalis are wholesome, and the sweets are delicious. The restaurant has a clean and comfortable atmosphere, with quick service and polite staff. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It’s an excellent place for family dining or a peaceful meal with friends. If you’re looking for pure-veg food in the heart of Bhubaneswar, Trupti Restaurant never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone who loves traditional Indian vegetarian cuisine!
Prashant B — Google review
Truptee Veg Restaurant is a well-known vegetarian eatery that serves a wide range of flavorful dishes made with onion and garlic, offering a fulfilling experience for those who enjoy rich, traditional Indian cuisine. Located in a convenient and easily accessible area, the restaurant boasts a good ambiance and clean surroundings, making it a pleasant place to dine. I ordered plain butter naan, kadai paneer, chilli mushroom, and Hakka noodles—all of which were cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. Each dish had its own unique flavor, with the spices and ingredients well balanced, especially the kadai paneer which was rich and aromatic. Though the prices are slightly on the higher side, the taste and quality of the food make it worthwhile. One drawback is that the food preparation takes a bit of time, so it’s advisable to visit when you’re not in a rush. Still, the wait is justified by the quality of the meal served. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, making it an excellent choice for veg lovers looking for something both traditional and flavorful. Overall, Truptee Veg Restaurant is a great place for a satisfying vegetarian meal, and I would definitely recommend it to others for its taste, quality, and variety.

We ordered mushroom matar , and it was raw mushroom.not cooked properly .No difference between the mushroom masala and mushroom matar. The person who order food after us get the food before us. The portion size of crispy corn was very less. There was a huge crowd that they were adjusting people with others. And very eagerly waiting to forced the customers out out even before they complete the food.

Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Place! I recently visited [Restaurant Name] expecting a great experience based on the 4-star Google reviews. Unfortunately, the reality was far from it. The service was painfully slow, and the food quality was subpar. I ordered: 1. Manchurian Soup 2. American Crispy Corn 3. Plain Rice 4. Paneer Punjabi 5. Dal Fry The dishes lacked flavor and were poorly executed. The worst part was the taste - it was unappetizing and disappointing. Given the subpar experience, I wouldn't even give it 2 stars. The slow service and poor food quality make it hard to recommend this place. Perhaps the Google reviews were inflated, but my experience suggests otherwise. *Rating:* 1/5 stars
RADYAPRASAN M — Google review
We recently dined at Hotel Truptee in Bhubaneswar and ordered a variety of dishes including Hyderabadi Biryani, Mix Veg, Paneer Butter Masala, Chapati and Butter Chapati. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the reputation this place seems to have. The **Paneer Butter Masala** was the biggest letdown. The paneer tasted suspicious, almost like *analogue paneer* instead of real dairy paneer — the texture and flavour clearly didn’t match authentic paneer. The gravy too lacked richness and tasted very ordinary. The **Hyderabadi Biryani**, which we expected to be flavourful, turned out to be completely off. It neither had the authentic aroma nor the taste one associates with a proper Hyderabadi biryani. It felt more like a spiced rice dish with no distinct biryani character. The **Mix Veg** was totally different from what we expected — both in taste and presentation. It didn't match the typical restaurant-style mixed vegetable curry and felt more like a makeshift dish. The only items that turned out decent were the **Chapati and Butter Chapati**, which were fresh and soft, but chapatis alone cannot compensate for an overall unsatisfactory meal. Overall, the experience felt like a **fraud on flavours and quality**. With so many better food options available in Bhubaneswar, Hotel Truptee really needs to improve the authenticity and quality of its dishes, especially when serving popular items like paneer and biryani.

Odia restaurant
Indian restaurant
Nestled in the bustling Sahid Nagar Market, near Bhawani Mall, Odisha Hotel is a culinary gem that celebrates the rich flavors of traditional Odia cuisine. This charming establishment is renowned for its authentic Odia thali, featuring delightful dishes such as pakhala, fried fish, mutton kassa, and chhatu rai.
Certainly worth a visit if you want to try Odia cuisines. For Bengalis it's nearly same as Bengali cuisine. They serve in Bronze or Brass utensils (not sure exactly which one) so it looks like the old days. The prices seemed quite reasonable and the patra chicken (chicken grilled , covered in leaf) was really unique. We also the mutton thali and the prawn curry. Both were tasty. The prawn size was generous. Can't say the same for the mutton pieces but that's fine. Service was prompt. Place was clean
Parthasarathi C — Google review
Highly overrated and over priced. We came here just because we have heard a lot about it expecting at least the food will be awesome but pure disappointment. Not sure how people are rating it so high. I strongly feel it’s rated by those who are staying away from Odisha ( like prabashi odia ) and hungry for some Odia food for ages. And when you get anything you just love it so much and it becomes overwhelming. But actually it’s Below average food. You will get much better taste at many other restaurants. Only the rice grain they use is better. Even the ambience is just like any other ac restaurant but washrooms hygiene Zero and washbasins hygiene zero. Just because they serve on brass cutlery doesn’t mean it’s a royal dine.
AVINASH K — Google review
I recently visited Odisha Hotel and ordered their mutton thali, mutton liver kassa, desi chicken, and prawn dishes. While I have had good experiences here before, this time the taste didn’t quite match what I remembered. The mutton was slightly bland, the chicken lacked its usual spice, and the mutton liver kassa was not very good. The prawns were okay. The service was decent, and the ambiance remains comfortable, but the inconsistency in food quality was noticeable. I hope the hotel works on bringing back the authentic flavors that made it my go-to choice before
Tony S — Google review
It’s present in prime location and mostly known for authentic Odia food, so we have been to the place with our colleagues from outside of state. I specifically had veg thali and mushrooms, paneer. Those are 3.5/5 overall. Other ordered non veg I was not sure about those. Interior, atmosphere, staff, everything is very good.
Jitendra S — Google review
A mid-budget Odia cuisine hotel in a commercial district of town. The food is ok from a localite perspective...might be more paletable for outsiders. They have a good variety of veg and non veg thalis and ala carte dishes including some typical dishes that are found in Odia households cooking . The fish, prawns and mutton that we ordered were fresh and of a good quality. The quantity is sufficient . The ambience is decent and the service quick. Special mention for the Khiri...it was amazing!
Abhijit M — Google review
If you are looking for authentic odisha food u must try here. They have also wide variety option in non veg thali. Must try dalma, Khakharuphula bhaja
DEBADATTA D — Google review
Before lunch, I was genuinely excited to experience the authentic soul of Odia cuisine — the aroma, the flavors, the warmth I’ve always associated with traditional Odia food. Unfortunately, the meal didn’t live up to that expectation. The dishes were average in taste, missing the depth and balance that define Odia flavors. The presentation was decent, but the food didn’t feel as fresh or soulful as I hoped. What should have been a comforting, flavorful journey felt more like a routine meal. For a restaurant that represents Odisha’s heritage, I expected more authenticity and warmth in every bite. It’s not terrible, but definitely not as per the soul of Odisha.
Dwitikrushna P — Google review
The worst food they served ... They are defaming odisha name by keeping it as Odisha Hotel ...the food they served those are actually only name of Odisha cuisine .. The taste of the food is completely worst ... The real Odia will never visit this place further after having once there ...

Odia restaurant
Dalma is a charming restaurant in Bhubaneswar, offering traditional and mildly spiced meat and vegetable dishes from the Odisha state. The homely ambiance and traditional artwork create a cozy setting for enjoying authentic Odia cuisine, including specialties like dalma and pakhala bhaat. Guests can savor these regional delicacies while seated cross-legged on Sambalpuri textiles, accompanied by the soothing strains of Odissi music.
One of the recommended places by my friend and even the internet searches was this restaurant. We were two; one vegetarian and one non vegetarian. We ordered one special thali as she wanted to try the chenna tarkari and i ordered crab curry. Crab curry: 4.5/5 Excellent fresh crab. I wasn't expecting such delicious crab to be served. The curry had nice flavour which was also unique. I had this with rice. Two people can share one curry. A lot of curry was left at the end. Highly recommended. Special vegetarian thali 3.5/5 The assortment of food was excellent. So much variety and throughout our orissa trip, this had the most authentic taste. What's the catch? Well, it had terrible wait time for the food; atleast 30-40 mins! Was it worth.. hmm that's a tough question. But i would say it was worth the wait. Highly recommended!

"A simple restaurant serving traditional Odia cuisine with quite a few food options in vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian and impressive portion sizes. Hospitality is pretty good and pricing is good/affordable as well." Food: We tried their Dalma (with roti), Dahi Pakhala Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian Platter, Rasabali, Chhena Jhili, Chhena Poda, and Chhena Chakta. Dalma: The restaurant is named after this dish. Dalma is a simple and comforting dish. Essentially nothing but dal and vegetables curry (pumpkin, brinjal, etc.). Had with roti/rice. Dahi Pakhala Non-Vegetarian Thali: Very satisfying, comforting, and filling. Best had in summers. We get fermented curd rice and various accompaniments/side dishes such as mashed potatoes, sweet dates chutney, fish/prawn fry (delicious), saag (leafy vegetables), aloo and drumsticks in mustard paste and oil (sharp, pungent, and interesting flavours), and badi chura (crumbled fried lentils dumpling). Brilliant side dishes, each one of them goes great with fermented curd rice. Rasabali: Chhena soaked in milk, soft and nice Chhena patties in sweetened milk. Pretty good. Chenna Poda: Burnt but soft Chhena cake (burnt cheese/paneer). Chhena Jhili: Fried Chhena in sugar syrup (like gulab jamun but made of chhena instead). Chhena Chakta: I was told it was made of chhena as well. Almost like kheer. Service: Very good hospitality. One of the staff members patiently helped us with the menu. Ambience: Simple, minimalistic, and air conditioned. Gets the job done. Could get a seat easily. Overall, a great place in Bhubaneswar to try out traditional/native Odia thalis, Dahi Pakhala, desserts, and other such delicacies!
Akilan S — Google review
Food - 3/5 We ordered Special Thali(Veg), Chingudi Rai, and Pomfret Tawa Fry. Special Thali had lots of side dishes. It was average but a few dishes in the thali were really good - namely Bitter Gourd Fry, Elephant's Apple Curry and a curry made with Vada (dunno about the name). The rest of the dishes were okay and not so special. Chingudi Rai Curry was underwhelming for a 350 INR food item. Pomfret Tawa Fry was delicious. Plain Rice was charged extra so it felt atrocious. Service - 4/5 Server was polite and attentive. Him knowing a bit of Hindi with medium fluency helped the case a lot. The servers were attentive to refill request. Atmosphere - 3.5/5 The ACs were not that efficient and room temperature was a bit warmer in the humid weather of Bhubaneswar. The basins of the restaurant felt a bit dirty. Summary - 3.5/5 We had our first meal in the state of Odisha here. The authenticity in the Odia meals were felt in the dishes served. Although I have a strong hunch that there might be better options as compared to Dalma. But I ai believe the food is good if you are okay with low oil and less masala food items. Almost like a homely food.

Dalma Restaurant – A True Taste of Odisha! If you're craving authentic Odia cuisine, Dalma Restaurant delivers an unforgettable local experience. The prawn dish was rich and perfectly spiced, the mutton liver—an absolute delicacy—was cooked to perfection, and the pomfret tawa fry brought out bold coastal flavors. Every bite felt like home-cooked tradition on a plate. Highly recommended for those who want to savor real Odisha!
Madhurima C — Google review
Dalma restaurant now remains just a name. Their brand reputation has inflated their price. But you get zero value for money. Located in the 1st floor, the reataurant gives a false Odia vibe by adding wallpapers of some Odia legends. Although the interior is neat and clean, the inside of the reataurant has some echo problem. People chattering turns into loud annoying echo across the restaurant. Even with minimum people inside, it felt like This is a public buffet party. AC doesn't help. Service boys are prompt and offer packaged drinking water as soon as you reach a table. And they give a very classy designed menu which lists all the overpriced and overhyped items they offer. Usual wait is within 10 mins. I ordered mutton thali which contained 2 small bowls of rice, one katori of dalma, one small katori full of aloo bharta, few slices of raw cucumber and a plate with 4 mutton pieces and 1 potato piece. The rice was okay, not soft but you can chew your way through. Dalma was good but not as it used to be. Even your home cooked dalma might test better than what they serve. Aloo bharta was tasty. Now coming to the mutton, out of 4 pieces, 2 pieces were meat and 2 pieces were bone and cartilage. The meat was not well cooked, had to pull them from the bones with teeth by force. The gravy however was good. The thali costs a whooping Rs.400 and you get a bill of Rs.420 for 5% GST. The menu doesn't include GST. If you have spare money to waste or have nothing better to do with your life, visit this restaurant for their overhyped food.

We tried Odia food at this highly rated restaurant in Bhubaneshwar for dinner yesterday. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious!! The Mushroom Curry was outstanding!! This is our first trip to Orissa and we will definitely patronize them before our 3 day visit ends. The restaurant is on the first floor with limited parking up front. One can get parking on side streets. The restaurant was well lighted and the service was friendly and professional. Thanked the manager/kitchen staff on the way out - impressed with the excellent food preparation.

Kanika is a high-end restaurant located in Mayfair Lagoon, Bhubaneswar, offering traditional Odia cuisine in an elegant space adorned with local artifacts. The restaurant aims to introduce patrons to the regional delicacies of Odisha and showcase the state's rich cultural heritage through its gastronomic journey.
My Odia friend took me to Kanika at Mayfair Lagoon, and I ended up loving it. I had the vegetarian thali, and it was one of the best I’ve had. Every dish felt homely and still rich in flavour. he presentation was neat, and the service was warm in that old-school way. I’m not Odia, so this Odia thali experience made me look forward to going again. Simple, comforting, and something I’ll definitely go back for. The pithas were great too! its perfect for a traditional date with parents or elders as well!

Also we mistakenly went into Mayfair Lagoon but this restaurant is situated right beside it. The menu and dishes were authentic. Unfortunately not a lot of vegan options. Also I didn't like the dishes much probably because traditional odiya cuisine doesn't suit my palate. But the service from the staff was really great. I could get all the information related to making the dishes vegan. The preparation of dishes takes some time. So it would be a good idea to order ahead of time. The ambience is amazing. They serve complementary fryums/chips which are pretty good(basic) 😂

This was my third visit to Kanika resturant. I find the food taste is good. Liked kakharu phula bara. Chakuli mutton, bagdha chingudi kassa Badi chura, chatu bara.. what i dont like is the service, salt level in the food and cost.

Kanika is an Odia cuisine restaurant. You can order from an extensive a la carte menu, or order their thalis. There’s a veg thali, a non-veg thali, and a seafood thali. We chose the seafood thali, @Rs 1399 (with CST and GST included, the total comes to about Rs 1650 per thali). A little steep, but delicious. Papads and chutneys were placed at our table, followed by a warm kanji drink. Fish cakes were served to start with, and then came the thali: salad, two types of rice, a spongy roti made of rice flour, dal, a stir-fry of red amaranth leaves, a mixed vegetable curry, tomato chutney, badi chura (a mix of fried urad dal badis with onions, chillies, mustard oil, etc), potato bharta, fried whole fish, prawn curry, and fish in mustard gravy. There was kheer, and two types of other pithas (sweets), along with rasabali (like a doughnut swimming in rabri). Finally, we were served sweet paans. Overall, delicious food and good service. We enjoyed this a lot.

The place isn't all that fancy or anything. The food's alright - maybe that's just how real food is. It's super expensive for what you get. I loved the Paan & Sweet dish they gave us.

I have been visiting Kanika for some years now whenever I was Bhubaneswar. They were a friendly establishment. This time I was surprised that they have a no camera policy strangely as though they are a High Security site. The place is beautiful with lots of hand painted Raghurajpur patachitra which is hand painted art on cloth canvas. But their new policy is ridiculous and this would be my last visit to such a place with stunningly stupid policies

**Food Review: Kanika Restaurant in Mayfair, Bhubaneswar** I recently visited Kanika Restaurant in Mayfair, Bhubaneswar, expecting a delightful experience with authentic Odia cuisine. Unfortunately, the food quality was extremely disappointing and requires immediate attention. Firstly, the Chicken Bhaja was a letdown. The dish was overpowered with cinnamon powder, giving it an overly sweet taste that overshadowed the traditional flavors. The Prawn Fry was even more problematic. It had a strong, unpleasant odor, clearly indicating that the prawns were not fresh. This compromised the entire dish and made it quite unappetizing. The Mourala Batter Fry was similarly disappointing. The fish didn't seem fresh and had an off-putting smell, making the dish far from enjoyable. The Mutton Kosa was another major disappointment. The excessive use of garam masala was overwhelming, masking the flavors of both the mutton and the gravy. It was impossible to appreciate the dish as the spices dominated everything else. Overall, my experience at Kanika Restaurant was a complete disappointment. These issues with taste and quality must be corrected immediately to do justice to the rich and flavorful tradition of Odia cuisine. Anyone trying these dishes for the first time might be completely turned off from Odia food. While it may attract one-time visitors unfamiliar with the cuisine, it certainly does not represent the true essence of Odia food. **Rating: 1/5**

it's a veg only restaurant (with onion & garlic 😍). The taste is really good and also is served in ample quantity. Wait time is also less, the place is huge with many tables, don't go there for the atmosphere but for the quality of food. The price is higher than average and deservedly. Also around infocity square it's probably the one of the very few good places for veg items.
Arnav D — Google review
One of the best veg restaurant in Infocity area. Price is too higher than others. Here you can go for both Onion Garlic & Without Onion Garlic options. Usually busy place at lunch time.

Tried Marwari Rasoi – Special Thali Experience We tried their special thali, which came with a variety of colorful items. The kadhi lacked the desired thickness and flavor, and the tamatar sabzi was not up to the mark. Other items in the thali were just average. On the brighter side, the raita and kesar ice cream were quite good and refreshing. We also added their aamras, which was okay but nothing special. Overall: A mixed experience – good presentation, but the taste could be better in several dishes.
Priyanka K — Google review
Food: Overall fine, with a few dishes that definitely taste very good. Service: Decent, nothing to complain about but nothing outstanding either. Atmosphere: Average. The tables inside could use better lighting, as it feels a bit dim. One concern, however, is the pricing. In a short span, prices have gone up twice — first with a base price increase, and now with an additional service tax. As someone who visits this place quite often, I don’t feel this step is justified when the food, service, and overall experience remain the same. If prices are being raised, one would naturally expect improvements in service or atmosphere to match this. Maybe improvements are already planned for the future, but introducing price hikes before visible changes doesn’t feel justified. Enhancements made first, followed by a price increase, would be much more welcomed.

While this pure-veg restaurant offers good food with lots of vegetarian choices, there are several drawbacks. The aloo paratha is tasty but overpriced at ₹55, and the cost keeps increasing every few months. Service is often slow, leading to long waits. On top of that, the billing is inconsistent — sometimes taxes are included, sometimes not — which makes the pricing confusing.
Nitish K — Google review
A nice place for vegetarian people. It was a Tuesday and we were looking for some vegetarian restaurant so that we can eat the meal peacefully without the fear of it being mixed with some non veg dish, we ordered a special thali and the food was sufficient for two of us. The food was fresh and served in clean utensils. Their staffs are very friendly and cooperative, keeping the place clean and hygiene. When we went there the place was nearly full and after eating we understood the reason behind so many people inside. Any vegetarian people can come and eat here without hesitation . They prepare and serve on time, no unnecessary delay . Price was also budget friendly so we are planning to pay a visit again to this place

I recently tried Marwari Rasoi on Infocity Road and really liked the experience. The food has a very homely touch with authentic Marwari/Rajasthani flavours, and the thali is definitely worth trying if you want a filling meal. The place is pure vegetarian, reasonably priced, and the portions are satisfying. The ambience is simple and nothing fancy, but the food makes up for it. Service can get a little slow during rush hours, so best to go a bit early. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re craving wholesome vegetarian food in the Patia/Infocity area.

Best veg food you can get here . Without onion and Garlic. Taste was so good.

It's a decent vegetarian restaurant located in the basement of the building. The dining space is spacious and can accommodate 60 people at a time. They have veg thali option available and in case you want a la carte then you can order as per your will as well. Their staff is responsible and the service was not late. The wait time was around 15 minutes from the time the order was placed. Prices are moderate, meals for two people will cost around ₹400. Now coming to the downside if you are going there with senior citizens then they might have a hard time going down or climbing the stairs. Also their toilet when we went last time was not functioning. The good thing is that there is a parking space available just adjacent to the restaurant building.

I had lachha Paratha with veg chatpata. To be honest i m not happy with price of the food.50 rs for 1 lachha Paratha is not justified bcz you can have good lachha Paratha at a lower price in other restaurants. Also for the overall price according to taste is not justifed. They need improvement in quality. Ambience was good.Owner was very nice & friendly.

A nice place for vegetarians. The place is clean and interior decoration is good. Food is tasty and affordable. Dalma of this resturent is having some different nice taste here. There are two cabins available for more privacy . One swing is available , kids can enjoy till your order reached. Manager and waiter are well behaved. Central A/C , ambient atmosphere . Pure Odia bhajans are usually played here which are very soothing during dinner hours. Only demerit is you have to carry sufficient cash because the swap machine fails to operate sometime due to poor network. Also ,don't try plain curd here ...i found it too sour .

I found this place to be very overrated, the food was okay. Similar food is available at other places as well. But their behaviour towards customers is very bad. The boys they have hired to provide service is very ridiculous. There is no hygiene here at all. They charge very high prices too. I would recommend you to eat at some other place. You will get better than this. They provide better service there. Here the service is worst. They ask for money in the middle of eating the food as if you will steal and go away somewhere. Their behaviour is very bad.

Nestled in the heart of Bhubaneswar, Truptee Veg. Restaurant stands out as a cherished spot for families seeking affordable yet delightful vegetarian cuisine. This beloved eatery is renowned for its warm and inviting ambiance, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with loved ones. Truptee specializes in mouthwatering South Indian breakfast options, particularly their famous masala dosa and an array of traditional Indian thalis that present a feast of flavors in one plate.
Truptee is one of the very fine restaurants one can visit when in Bhubaneswar. It’s very good for South indian as well as other cuisines. Strictly vegetarian, but more than the restaurant what I liked the most is the sweet delicacies we tried out like Chena poda, chena jhili, and much more.

The food at this Truptee outlet is quite average compared to other branches. 👍🏼 The Tawa Mushroom stood out and was really good. 👎🏼However, the Paneer Singapore, which is claimed to be a signature dish, didn't live up to expectations,it wasn't crispy, and the coating lacked quality compared to other outlets. The service could also be improved, as the waiting time was quite long. On the bright side, the ambiance is pleasant, with comfortable seating, making it a decent spot for families.

Recently visited Truptee near Akash Institute. Here's my rating: - Crispy American Corn: 4/5 (Delicious and crispy) - Mushroom Do Pyaza: 2.5/5 (Tastes okay, but slightly overpriced) The ambiance was good , seating around 30-40 people. However, rates felt higher than expected. Overall experience was just okay. Notably, this branch didn't match up to the Infocity Truptee branch.

The 3 star ⭐️ on food due to the paneer was not fresh and mixed in kadhai paneer, however paneer lollipops paneer was really good. Baby corn was yum 😋. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem! As a vegetarian, it's not always easy to find restaurants that serve innovative and delicious plant-based dishes. The real star of the show was the food. Oh, the food! We ordered the veggie burger, the lentil soup, and the vegetable biryani, and each dish was more delicious than the last. The flavors were bold and complex, and the presentation was beautiful. I'm so impressed with this restaurant and can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes. However, I noticed some food particles on the floor, so cleanliness around and under the tables can be improved 🧹. ⸻ ✅ Overall, it’s a decent spot. If you’re a vegetarian 🌱, you can definitely give it a try!

Disappointing Experience at Truptee Restaurant, Bhubaneswar I recently had a terrible experience at Truptee Restaurant in Bhubaneswar. I ordered a masala dosa, a rava dosa, and a bottle of mineral water. Here's what went wrong: Watery Masala Dosa: The biggest disappointment was the masala dosa. The masala filling, which is supposed to be the star of the dish, was watery and bland. It seemed like they had simply mixed the masala with water, resulting in a tasteless mess. Unhygienic Discovery: To make matters worse, I found a hair in my masala dosa! This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene standards. Insufficient Compensation: I complained to the staff about the issues I faced. While they did deduct the price of the masala dosa from my bill, I believe a simple price reduction doesn't justify the inconvenience and unpleasant experience. Overall, my visit to Truptee Restaurant was a major letdown. The poor food quality and lack of hygiene raise serious concerns. I would strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant until they can improve their food quality and hygiene practices.

Hare Krishna Restaurant is a vegetarian eatery located within walking distance from the Bhubaneswar railway station. The restaurant follows ISKCON principles, serving flavorful dishes without onion or garlic. Food quality is food but they need other of improvement in terms of sitting, ambience, facility and service part needs attention. It's was purely without onion and garlic food which actually we enjoyed, it could be way better if ambience was little bit better. I had tasted paneer as a special dish but I found it normal gravy item. It needs lots of betterment. Pricing is good. We had stomach full meal for 2 people at just Rs. 160. Just ask about food menu before ordering anything.

We visited Harekrushna Restaurant, Gudia Pokhari, Puri based on our driver’s recommendation that they serve the best dosa. Unfortunately, we were told the dosa was finished — yet we saw other customers being served dosa after us, which felt unfair and disappointing. We ordered a veg roll, which was quite tasty. But when we ordered roti and paneer sabji, the service was poor. One of the staff members told us to take the food ourselves, which is not acceptable, especially when we are paying customers. Overall, the food was okay, but the service and attitude were unprofessional and disrespectful. Would not recommend based on this experience.

We were starving literally and then I found this veg restaurant near infocity, the ambience was good, but the service was excellent, it was quick and the employees were caring and soft spoken. If you will go by Google map location then extra 400mtr you need to roam here and there. Better just reach near bhavani mall. Infront of that a small lane is there. Cross the road take left. A pet shop is there. Infront of that Anandabazar hotel is available.

Visited there to have lunch. They serve a complete vegetarian meal and items without onion and garlic. There was rice, dalma, besar, tomato khatta, saga bhaja and papad in the thali. Which cost 70 Rupees. We ordered aloo bharta, which cost 10 rupees extra. At ten rupees, the aloo bharta amount was very less. The meal tasted average. Dalma was not properly cooked. There are a lot of other items too which you can try but I personally felt it was not a 'Value for money' place. The meal cost should be around 50-60 rupees maximum. You may feel uncomfortable inside the hotel as they are cooking in chullahs beside the sitting area. Thankyou

Vegetarian restaurant
Hotel Trupti (Without Onion And Garlic) has emerged as a standout destination for South Indian cuisine in the capital, challenging long-standing favorites. Nestled in the Technology Corridor and Kalpana Square, this pure vegetarian restaurant offers a delightful menu free from onion and garlic. I recently indulged in their Paneer Tadka and Veg Biryani; both dishes were remarkable! The paneer was tender, infused with spices that struck a perfect balance of flavor without overwhelming heat.
One of the best Vegetarian(Without Onions and Garlic) Restaurants in Bhubaneswar in affordable price range. Can improve interiors. Service is good but take a li'l bit more time during crowd, hope they'll work more on workforce and manpower,
Shamanish G — Google review
Very poor service.. Always thought because of so much costumers they take a lot of time(which is not reasonable anyways) to serve but today there were very few costumers still we had to wait over ½hr to get our takeaway.. Food is still fine but in other factors like atmosphere and service it's a solid zero.
Susanta B — Google review
A pure veg restaurant w/o onion garlic. Taste of food depends on mood of the owner becoz sometimes food to is too yummy and something too worse but they provide decent meal at affordable price. Good option for Monday and Thursday for having lunch. Kheer and dahi baigan and saga muga are good in taste.
Sidharth S — Google review
Food is good, service is ok as maximum waiters knows only Oriya. We went twice over there and faced difficulty. They will say everything yes and after that they will ask whether this was told. It’s very noisy in the restaurant hall. Only for good food everything gets neutralised.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Paneer Tadka and Veg Biryani from your shop, and I wanted to share my thoughts. Paneer Tadka The Paneer Tadka was exceptional. The paneer cubes were perfectly cooked, retaining a soft and fresh texture. The blend of spices was spot on, providing a harmonious balance of heat and flavor without being overwhelming. The tadka (tempering) added a wonderful depth to the dish, enhancing the overall taste. It was evident that fresh ingredients were used, contributing to the rich and vibrant flavor profile. **Veg Biryani:** The Veg Biryani was equally delightful. The rice was fragrant and cooked to perfection, neither too dry nor too sticky. The vegetables were fresh and retained a slight crunch, which I appreciated. The spices were well-distributed, making every bite flavorful. The biryani had a beautiful aroma that was inviting and indicative of the quality spices used. Both dishes were beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I look forward to trying more items from your menu in the future. Keep up the great work Feel free to adjust the feedback based on your specific experience and preferences.

Looking for some regular veg meal in the vicinity, this would be one of the best. This place serves all its food without onion garlic. The price is quite cheaper for each curry and a full meal will hardly cost around Rs 100 per head. Waiting time is quite minimal as the meals are ready to serve. And they parcel it too within a few minutes

Vegetarian restaurant
Hotel Srimandir is a delightful vegetarian haven located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where the culinary experience is crafted without onion and garlic. This restaurant boasts an extensive menu that spans Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines. Diners can indulge in popular dishes like veg biryani, paneer butter masala, and mushroom tikka.
Variety of sweets are available. Surprised to see Dhokla as a tiffin option. Tiffin items are bit costly. Interior was good enough.
Simanchal S — Google review
The veg meal was good but lots of potatoes were there in almost all the side dishes. You can ask for additional rice and dal for free. Rest of the items will be charged extra. Per meal price was 120 rupees which felt slightly unreasonable.
Chittaranjan M — Google review
I have never been to this place, I have only ordered online. My mom is a vegetarian but a good critic. She doesn't eat onion -garlic on most of the festivals and Mondays/Saturdays, Shankranti etc So whenever we crave some outside food on such occasions, we order something for mom from this place. It has a wide range of food starting from typical odiya food to Chinese, sweets, fast food, biryani and much more. The taste is really good, you won't even feel that onion and garlic are missing. They also have raw paneer, which is also good quality. I often order from here. The prices are super cheap, the quantity is less but worth the price. I have tried the following items from this place: Biryani Fried rice (tastes really really good, must try) Mushroom masala Paneer masala Chilly paneer Rolls (paneer, mushroom, mixed) Sweets (rasgola, gulab jamun, kaju barfi) Raw paneer (soft and fresh) Paneer chowmin samosa (my fav, must try) Aloo chop/bonda (really tasty) Bara/vada Special thali Chole bhature

PRADEEP N — Google review
It is very difficult to get bad food in Odisha but they are definitely one in that list. Drab food, even dal was so bad, there is no authenticity of beautiful and simple Oriya cuisine. Just don’t go
Indranil B — Google review
Good food at cheap prices. Pure vegetarian food without onion and garlic. Main course dishes available only during lunch and dinner. Fast food items available only in the evening. Sweets are okayish.

Khana Khazana is a simple street stall in Jayadev Vihar that offers a perfect setting for enjoying North Indian cuisine with friends and loved ones. The ambiance is peaceful, with plastic tables and chairs arranged across the pavement. The place is known for its popular chicken dum biryani and mouthwatering tandoori chicken. Customers have praised the food's quality, quantity, and reasonable prices.
Great place for a quick and tasty bite! Though it doesn’t have much space for dining in, this fast food stall truly stands out for its amazing flavors. The food is freshly prepared, and the taste never disappoints. Highly recommended: Chili Chicken with Lachha Paratha, it’s packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. A go-to spot for foodies who value taste over ambience!

Food taste was ok, hygiene was not very good because of locality and surrounding areas. Close to kalpana bata showroom. Place is mostly crowded as bus stop is nearby.

If you are ordering food then it's good. Test normal but price is good. We order Chili Chicken - 4.2* Mutton biriyani -3.9* Paratha -4* Price is good.
Puspita P — Google review
The chilly chicken was great and so was the chicken roll. Also have had their chicken tikka, not too oily and well cooked tender chicken pieces. Never ate at the place and have always opted for a takeaway because it's near Kalpana square, resulting in a lot of dust and noise from the traffic.
Aishani S — Google review
I like their egg chicken roll and chowmin. Taste of Biryani is ok ok type.
Sidharth S — Google review
Ekdum wahiyat fast food... I brought chowmiin they didn't make it in front of me just gave me the readymade one which tastes disgusting. Chicken fried with besan.. Worst experience ever
Subhalaxmi M — Google review
Chicken Biryani of this restaurant usually tests good. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ is deserves for Biryani. But in last month I ordered twice. once from Zomato and then I personally visited to get the parcel. On the first order on Zomato I found that the Biryani is of worst quality and the chilli chicken is horrible. I thought that the delivery boy might have done something fishy. So 2nd time I personally visited this restaurant to get the parcel. This time also I found the teste of Biryani and chilli chicken pathetic. What's happening to KHANA KHAJANA. I am pretty sure that their own original food quality is much better as they are providing these days. Why are you spoiling your reputation and business. Khana Khazana please reply what's going wrong with you...

Hi fellas...! In the Cuttack road near Kalpana square , it is hard to find some tasty food eateries and this very small outlet serves the purpose. Its very pocket friendly and the taste is Ok too. U can fill your tummy within 100 rupees. And the quantity is wholesome too. Had here egg- chicken chowmein , tandoori chicken, chicken egg roll. Only chowmein tasted better and was up there. Tandoori chicken was bland, chicken lagged the inner juices , was overcooked. And chicken egg roll was Ok. Roll was a bit on sweeter side which I don't like personally. If you have the same roll taste tell them to avoid ketchup in the same. 250 for two. 7/10 for taste 3/10 for ambience ( no proper seating) Do check this out if you are in around kalpana square. Ok. Bye see you again...!...
